    Samsung Model LN46A550P3FXZA. The TV picture was good. Operation was simple and intuitive. The TV operated flawlessly for 3 years until problems developed due to faulty capacitors in the power supply. The manufacturer's response was delayed, and when it did respond to the problem, the response was unsatisfactory. I will probably not buy any electronics from this manufacturer in the future.

    After having the TV for a year they removed many of the features that made me choose this TV. I paid for these features and they stole them from me which devalued the TV. I would NEVER buy another Samsung after this experience.

    Samsung is my top choice of many electronics headed by my televisions which I own three. The picture quality is sensational. So too was the price but my primary reason for owning Samsung is the quality which is never disappointing. Just a fantastic brand.

    The Samsung TVs have about the highest contrast ratio of any on the market. Sony comes in second. This gives you the best picture quality because the colors snap at the black is a dark black unlike many TVs that give you a greater black. High contrast gives you what appears to be a much sharper picture. Most of the Samsung are Smart TVs that can connect to the Internet or you can plug in devices like thumb drives, a mouse, a keyboard. This allowed you to house it like a computer. Watch digital movies and even look at photos on devices l keep on iPad. Of all the TVs on the market I give this the highest rating for picture quality.

    I bought a Samsung 50 inch flat screen for $440 from Best Buy 1.5 years ago. It's a fabulous investment with no issues to date. Picture and sound quality are top of the line. Plus it looks very chic! Best Buy gave me an awesome payment plan to pay for it over 12 month.

    The sound on our 2015 Samsung smart tv uhd tv drops out sporadically. They sent a company to fix it, but it didn't work. We are still having problems to this day and paid $2000 for it! When you call support, you are on hold for hours. They encourage you to do your request online only to tell you that you to call in anyway. They then close your online ticket number causing more wasted time while your problem is still not solved.

    I have both LG and Samsung that are about 6 years old and are flat screens. Both have clear pictures and sharp colors. They are not smart TVs. Have only 2 HDMI spots so can't have my Apple tv and my satellite usage at same time. Have not had any problems with my TVs and only drawback of my Samsung is wish it were a little larger than 26 inches. Both TVs are affordable.

    Works and looks great but too many unnecessary features. The menus are overwhelming. May be great for younger people. The only con on this tv would be I am not able to see a difference on fast action being a 240 hrzt.

    Our Samsung works well and has a great picture. The only negatives I can think of are - the volume is a little too low, and the picture doesn't fill the screen unless you put it on "Zoom" and cut off everybody's heads.

    Samsung has great picture but horrible browser. I tried every possible setting to no end. It will not play, run videos. Timed out error message appears after 30 seconds. The only videos plays is youtube but no other websites. I am using Chromecast, so my next TV it will be a Sony, unless Samsung will improve the browser and fix the problem.

    I have 3 smart Samsung TVs (40", 50", and 60"). They are very good, especially 50". They are really "smart". However it should be more "friendly" and smoother relationship between a TV and a computer (browser). I'd suggest to add TV set by a keyboard to make more reliable and convenient operations with browser.

    We usually buy and recommend Samsung TV's to our customers because the picture is crystal clear and they are the leader of TV manufacturers. Sony buys parts from them. We had few minor setup issues in the past but when we called them they logged in to the TV remotely changed the settings and got it done. Way to go Samsung!

    Absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had - bar none. Bought a 40' HDTV as a back-up 6 months ago - with 4 months, we could no longer turn it on. Called Samsung - after multiple hours on the phone - set up service call. Following 6 visits from THEIR authorized provider AND a recommendation that it be replaced... they actually got it working - for 2 more months. Called Samsung again - an hour on the phone and Cassandra with Executive Customer Relations says they don't guarantee their TVs - just parts and repair and that THEIR provider only loaded 1 ticket for multiple visits. So we have to start the process over. I realize Samsung is trying desperately to ride out a 12 month warranty, but seriously? This is INSANE. I will be sharing this feedback with ANY CHANNEL I can find - BUYER BEWARE! Samsung DOES NOT guarantee their product per Executive Customer Service.

    I purchased a 55" Samsung TV 2 1/2 yr ago. Periodically the TV would turn off by itself. I would turn it back on & it was fine. Unfortunately I didn't think much about it & then a month ago it started turning off & on every 10-20 seconds. Left it unplugged overnight & it seemed to work fine until yesterday. It started turning on & off every few seconds. Left it unplugged overnight again but it still turns off & on. I had called Samsung in November but they were not at all helpful. They do not acknowledge there is a problem even though they were hit with a class action lawsuit in 2010/2011. I filed a formal complaint with Samsung but will now have to decide whether to pay to have it repaired or just purchase a new TV. If I buy a new TV it certainly will not be a Samsung.

    This company should be ashamed of themselves! They claim they have warranty that they void for their own faulty products. They do not stand behind their product and blame the consumer! I purchased a 55-inch Samsung UHD TV series 6700 from Best Buy on November 30th. It was not removed from the box until December 5th. On December 9th, only 4 days after being removed from the box, something terribly went wrong. The second the power was turned on something internally malfunctioned and broke the picture screen. It left what appeared to be what they call a spider web crack. Best Buy would not honor a return or exchange because they claimed that physical damage had to have taken place. I was told to contact customer service at Samsung. After much time spent talking to multiple different customer relations employees, I got absolutely nowhere other than a voided warranty. I went round and round with this company.

    I am absolutely positively 100% sure that no physical contact was made. The external screen is flawless. Not a scratch, not a scuff, not even a fingerprint is on the external screen. I was told by every single customer service rep that the only way this type of damage could occur is from physical contact. They would not send anyone out to look at it. They determined that I was out of warranty out of $1,000 after only having the TV for 4 days by simply reviewing photos. I don't understand how they can determine cause by reviewing photos. I as a customer have been completely honest with both Best Buy and Samsung. When I say no physical contact was made I mean no physical contact was made. Something is faulty inside of this product yet they refuse to investigate and fix this issue.

    I bought every Samsung appliances from Best Buy and end of the line. I bought a curved TV and a sound bar HW-j8500. Had them professionally installed couple months ago working fine. Then I bought an R7 wireless 360 speaker. Tried to connect them to the sound bar I could not. Called customer service after 3 hrs., the lady did not even know where the button physically exist. Instead of connecting the speaker she messed up my sound bar based on the step she made do. She was not sure of anything. Did not know anything about home theater or where the ID set button exist. Was a nightmare. I ended up with a system for the holiday that is not working after thousand of dollars for TV and home theater system. I now only have a working TV, no sound bar, nothing. Kept calling and calling on phone for hours the only solution for Samsung is "Send the system we will fix it". I mean this is crazy.

    I paid money for the system to be professionally installed so their solution is a big "** you. We broke your system. Too bad. Send it to us wait another month or more we fix it". I will have to pay out of my pocket to take the system down then to put it back. I am going to send a complain to the BBB. I will put this on Facebook. Samsung is a scam. We pay high prices for products that does not have a customer service. I was a huge loyal Samsung owner. But now I will never ever buy a Samsung product again. I will make sure that I will put my experience everywhere online for people to be careful.

I have been on the phone, chat, email to get help on my two new TVs and can't get the TVs to login, and I can on the website, yes I did change password, many times, on the phone for hours, request email help, and nobody can get it to login.     I bought Samsung TV 24 " on Sep 2015. My display gone after 3 months. I called Customer Care and reported. The technical guy came and said "You have physical damage inside the TV. If you want to fix it, it will cost around Rs 8000 and it will not come under warranty." I really shocked. The TV cost around 15000 and they asking 50% of amount to fix the issue within the warranty period. Customer care officers always says this is Samsung Company policy. I got so irritated about the service. Please don't go Samsung products. It will not customer feasible. It will not worth for Single star also...

    Samsung is horrible. I bought a brand new 65inch LED smart TV on 11/22/15 and have had nothing but problems since. First, it took longer than it was supposed to to be delivered. Second, it was shipped to me BROKEN. Third, when I called them the first time I was on hold for OVER A HOUR, was transferred 3 times, and hung up on twice. Fourth, the gentleman I was talking to told me that I am not the only one who received a broken TV. Fifth, they promised to send out a shipping label to return the TV in 1-3 business days, day 4 still no label. Sixth, I am on hold now going on 2 hours and have yet to speak with someone who could do anything but transfer me to another person.

    They have my money and I have a broken TV. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with any company and to put the icing on the cake they told me that they will not send me a new TV until they get the broken one. Then they will refund my money and I have to buy another TV at full price. When I receive the new TV, that hopefully isn't broken, they will then credit me the difference. I would never recommend anyone to buy from them. Except maybe someone I do not like. Do yourself a favor and get a Sony.

    My Samsung LN46A530P1FXZA television is experiencing the cycling off and on repeatedly and going through some very distorted screen images before it eventually goes to a good picture. Sometimes it cycles through 15 - 20 times before coming on. I was looking to buy a new Samsung when I came across the faulty capacitor issue on the Samsung televisions. My problems were identical so I started a Chat session with Samsung. The person there gave me the service support email link so I filled out a report but in the meantime I called the number on the screen.

    I spoke to Tim first then to Ray and my last person was Elaine (I have all their employee numbers), and lastly Elaine said that Samsung posted on their website, media advertising, and notified the persons they had contact information from. Well, I was never informed and my set did qualify for repair, however, Elaine said the time has passed and I would have to pay for repairs. I am having a hard time digesting why I would have to pay to repair a part that Samsung knowingly had in their sets. I filled out the data when I got the set and was never contacted (strange but true), never saw an ad and I usually would not find cause to just randomly visit their website unless I was looking for something in particular.

    When all is said and done Elaine admitted Samsung had faulty capacitors and admitted she would do something if she could but I guess being the "Executive Customer Relations " person and that no one was any higher she would not authorize the repairs. Only offering a service call and repair at my expense, however I feel that if Samsung knowingly had bad parts in their products, why should I have to pay for repairs to their errors?

    I bought a Samsung TV at Best Buy in 2013 for almost 1500 dollars. 2 1/2 years later the TV stopped working. We only used the TV on weekends because the kids are at school on weekdays. I called Samsung customer service and I was told that there was nothing that Samsung can do for me. I basically spent $1500 for a TV and $200 for extended coverage for 2 years. 2 1/2 years later I lost $ 1700 on a garbage TV made by Samsung. Please do not buy Samsung products because they are garbage. Unfortunately for me, everything in my house is Samsung (refrigerator, washer, microwave, dryer). All broke down at least twice a year except the dryer which is not used very often. Don't be fooled by their look because they are trash.

    Every time I turn one the TV a message appears at the top of the screen notifying users of some new feature. I don't care about. The latest one concerns enjoying videos and music from my phone. Last time it was about out some stupid game they were removing. I contacted the company to see to it if there was about way to opt out of the feature but there is no way to do that.

    Purchased this 40 inch LED 1080p Samsung TV Model UN40F6300AF from Best Buy less than two years ago. It was the master bedroom TV so less than 2 hours a day usage. One day without warning it would not turn on. The red power light would come on and blink twice in a cycle of 4 times then pause and start again. Called Samsung Customer Service and was led through checking the connections. Did not fix the problem. We had a repair company come out and they guessed it was a power issue, probably the motherboard so repair estimate is more than brand new TV. Very disappointed with Samsung. I had 4 of their TVs but will not buy again. 600 dollars for less than two years.

    The HDMI connections stopped working. When I contacted Samsung they did not fully address the issue. I did some google searches and found they have HDMI signal issues all the time. I would think Samsung would have the integrity to do something about this and stand behind their product. I hope they get a class action lawsuits about this too like the power issue they did not take responsibility for until they got sued. I would not recommend SAMSUNG as they don't seem to support their products.

    I purchased Samsung's 50" Smart TV from Sam's Club on Memorial Day weekend. Set-up went well and we were enjoying the wide diversity that is offered by Netflix. We were happy campers!!! HOWEVER, after 2 1/2 months, any program that we watched on Netflix would buffer continuously. During our many calls to customer service, I patiently worked through their entire script for every possible reset with fingers pointing to our CenturyLink ISP. Then I had multiple calls with them as they switched lines and came on site to see if they could isolate the problem. Regrettably, their maximum speed was 1.5 mbps, which is a bit slow for Netflix. However, it worked great for 2 1/2 months. So, we decided to change to Mediacom as our new ISP and upgraded to 50 mbps. Initially, this seemed to be successful because Netflix did not buffer. However, if we turned the TV off and then back on an hour later, the buffering issue resurfaced.

    If we deactivated Netflix and logged out of the router and then went through set-up, Netflix would work successfully for that period of viewing. The buffering continued to occur with subsequent times of watching TV. Again, multiple calls to Samsung, some agents easier to understand than others. I must admit that they did try to be helpful, but alas, no solutions. They did finally admit that there was a KNOWN GLITCH for this particular model for Netflix and that there would be automatic update to our software within a day or two. It sounded promising, however, even after confirming that the updates were loaded, the buffering problem continued. Then their new solution was that we needed to get a STATIC IP Address from our ISP because there is a problem with the TV communicating to the router and they said a Static IP address would take care of that.

    So, I contacted our ISP and they said that Static addresses are only for businesses with large networks, however, they did offer to have someone contact us in 24-48 hours. That didn't sound too promising. So again, I call Samsung and asked how the Static IP address would help. He explained that multiple users would be using the same IP address and that with the Static IP address would be only for me. I called him on that one and said that was not true, for every user has a unique dynamic IP address. He reluctantly agreed. He talked with his supervisor and she said that that our issue was a known problem and that a fix was in the works. I responded with that the fix had been applied. He said that they found out that the fix didn't really fix the problem and that this is another fix. ARRRGGHHH. Does it ever end?

    I asked to speak to the supervisor. He transferred me, however, I was on hold for about 40 minutes and then was disconnected. We called Sam's Club to find out about their return policy, was 90 days. Much to our surprise, today was the last day that we could make a return. So, I loaded that puppy in the car and took it back for a full refund and never to buy another Samsung. I bought an LG 50" Smart TV and we are back in business with no problems. Wonder if it will last.

    Order Placed. Paid for. Got email shipping confirmation Tracking Number. Tried tracking number. After 24/48/72 hours no information. Called Shipping company. They don't have it. Called Samsung. After waiting on phone 1 hour and 41 minutes they can't find out any info. Took order information. Was going to call me next day. End of day called them again. 1 hour and 6 minutes. Then told me no information. Could be several more days before they have information. Samsung would not ship a replacement. Told me to wait several days and maybe they would find it. I have asked to have this order canceled even though I really wanted the product.

    Purchased $1,800 64 inch Samsung plasma TV in March 2014 and it went blank while watching TV program in December 2015. Will not turn on or off - no red light. Called Samsung and they referred me to local service center - wrong number. Called back got another wrong number. Called back and was told no local authorized service center. Last Samsung TV I will ever buy - poor service. The TV picture was excellent while it lasted.

    With minimal use of 1-3 hours per days, at first I noticed a black area about a CD size on 60" LED TV. Thought it was just shadow from window, later on the longer the more I see it darker, more visible, and that's not all... Within 23 months the TV just turned off and would not turn on. I tried unplug, replug the power cord, press power button many time. All I see is the red light on bottom blinking and TV would not turn on. For $1200 I paid during Black Friday 2013, now I have a dead TV. Basically I paid $600/year for this junk. I had 3 other TV in the house, 2 of which are Panasonic and they are still working fine. They are even used in living room, which are the most use of TV in the house. So I would not recommend anyone buying anymore Samsung TV.

    I purchased a 46" Samsung Smart TV on 3-15-2013 and 2 yrs later it is having problems with power shutting down after 2 minutes of being turned on. This sounds like the same issues Samsung TV's were having in the 2006-2008 lawsuit. I believe my TV is experiencing the bad capacitor issue.

    About (2) years ago I purchased a Samsung Led 61" tv from an electronic store. I paid $2200.00 for it and that was after discount. I still had a 53" that was on its way out so I didnt set up new tv right away. I let tv sit in box for (7) or (8) months before I hooked it up. After I hooked it up, within (6) months I started seeing black spots the size of freckles on the TV screen. Started off with just (2). I was confused and didn't know what was going on so I just ignored it because it was just two spots and not obstructing my view of the tv. Within the next few weeks those (2) dots accumulated to about (500). Within the next (6) months, it was about (5000). I couldn't even see picture on tv. At that point I stopped watching TV all together obviously.

    Since I had the tv past the one warranty, (even if it did stay in the box for about (7) months) I called Samsung directly to find out what was going on with this supposedly brand new tv. My first contact with Samsung, the representative act as though she had no idea what I was describing to her. I talked with Samsung a couple of times that same day giving information and details about what was going on with tv with same representative. During the second phone call with representative she said something to the effect about a default software on certain models but not mine. I said "what difference does it make if I'm experiencing the same problem."

    I was told that issue didn't occur in enough of my model tv for it to qualify for warranty and it was past the one year warranty anyway. I questioned her as to why she act as though she never heard of what I was talking about earlier. She actually said "You said black spots. The default software was causing white spots." Turns out it was both. Nonetheless, I was basically told this default was a issue they were aware of and it turns out black spots don't actually start accumulating until you actually start to watch the TV. The more you watch, the quicker they accumulate. I guess it was my fault for not hooking TV up quicker. The most they were willing to do is after I allow an authorized Samsung dealer to diagnose the problem at my expense ($100), if it is a Samsung problem, they will fix it and reimburse me my $100 back.

    I said fine, called authorized Samsung dealer and he confirmed issue with Samsung TVs and also took pictures and showed me pictures of several other customers. Believe it or not there were some worse than mine. I paid the money to dealer, contacted Samsung and I talk to same representative who I talked to earlier. She said the the most they could do because it was out of warranty and my model was not listed for this issue was to pay for the part only. I told her "that's not what you told me before." She went on to say she could not get the labor approved, only the part and I would have to pay for the labor which was another $200.00.

    They would not bend. I was stuck with either pay another $200.00 or toss the tv & lose the $100.00 I already paid and have to buy another TV. I was pissed but it was a no brainer. They repaired TV in October of 2013. Almost (2) years from that date in July 2015 I started seeing those black spots again. I called Samsung again to tell them about this temporary fix they set me up with and what happens now. They had the audacity to offer same deal as before. I get the part for free, pay another $300 for labor and we both go our merry way. Needless to say I declined, said a few choice words and hung up. There is no way in hell would I pay $300 for a temporary fix. That's absurd. My plan is to purchase another TV and stay away from Samsung products permanently.

    T.V. work very well for 3 years and now turns on and off on its own. Found reports online that show that this is a problem with products from a company that seemingly is good. I have a Sony tv that is 2 years older and is working flawlessly. Now I will be avoiding Samsung, whether it is on sale or not. This is the only electronic item I have had any problem with in many years.

    I purchased this $3000 TV in June of 2012. The draw to this TV was its outstanding picture. Not so much the gadgetry but the picture. In 2013 the TV began to turn itself off and on and it would also make clicking noises. I luckily had purchased extended warranty (I now understand why the salesperson was so insistent... It seems not only Samsung is aware of the lemons they sell but so are the sales associates). So the repair person comes out and informs me how very common this is for Samsung... They had to replace a capacitor AND the motherboard. Something that would have been a small fortune if not for the warranty.

    Based on all of the same complaints I have seen, I do not understand why these companies are allowed to get away with these issues. Specifically a company the size of Samsung. This is not a $3000 TV (and even if it were that does not excuse poor quality) but it is a 3k TV and should have some sort of recall or replacement attached (which apparently does not seem to make a difference since it sounds as though these issues go from the least to most expensive. Shame on Samsung and shame on the sales people who know yet push these TV's when there are other brands that have better quality.

    I bought a 60 inch Sumsung Smart TV from Best Buy the first TV I purchased after a few days the screen would go out (blink) at less 4 to 5 times a day. I took the TV back to the store Best Buy exchanged it with this one, this one don't loose the screen but I can download Nexflx but it won't let watch anything. I'm frustrated.

    I am standing in front of a TV that Samsung refuses to stand behind. This is a 2 year old, 40 inch Samsung LED TV that once turned off. Will take days to be able to turn on again. After being snubbed by their Customer service Department (145 dollars for just the service call), I gave up and decided to write this response to my experience.

    I've been a long time Samsung customer ever since the service of my seemingly indestructible beeper back in the early 90's. (I lived on a boat, offshore.) This is my second Samsung flat screen TV and it seems they are getting worse with each generation. Problems happen with each version of new technology, and I, as well as most, understand that. The real issue here is the integrity of the company. Folks can and should forgive the mechanical issues of a new product, and any smart company should value their customers by standing behind their product, just as much as the customer values the new product they just pulled out of the box with excitement.

    How has Samsung dealt with consumer issues? With criminal levels of complacency. They seem to see just the short picture, the quick profit. People read reviews and buy accordingly. They should take a lesson from VW concerning stupid corporate decisions and the resulting impact on their bottom line. I hate to see good companies screw up like this. Just makes me feel bad. Love my new LG TV.

    Bought the TV (55 4k Smart TV UN55JU6500) on Sept 20, 2015, about 2 weeks later I noticed blue dots on the screen but didn't do anything really until about 2 weeks later, when the HHgreg would no longer take the TV back. So I had to deal with Samsung Customer services which is the WORST ever. They constantly ask you the same questions over and over, have you perform the same "fixes" to the TV that never work until finally you beg for someone to come out to repair the TV. Service man came out, said that he saw the blue dots before but Samsung doesn't know what the problem is. He fixed the TV, but now Netflix won't load or times out or the pic goes in and out of focus. Called Cust. Service again, went around and around trying to fix it remotely to no avail. Finally the Cust Services Rep agreed that the TV needed service.

    I swear they try to break you by keeping you on the phone or on chat for as long as they can without really knowing what the problem is. So again service will be coming out, second time in a month and I have only had the TV for 2 months - great. Best part of it all, when the service man came out the first time I had to remove my tv from the wall which was professionally mounted since samsung would not take the tv off the wall. I had to take the TV off the wall and have it reinstalled at my cost. This time, samsung can bring someone out to remove, fix and remount the TV at their cost. Doubt that will EVER happen. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this tv!

    Bought a Samsung 32 LED (UN32EH5300FXZA) TV from Best Buy (online) on May 5, 2014. On November 10, 2015, turned on the TV, and no picture. Contacted Samsung, told me to contact cable company. Cable technician came out next day, hooked up his laptop to the cable box; and behold, he had a picture. I contacted Samsung, and because I didn't have an extended warranty, told me to take TV to one of their service providers and pay to have TV repaired.

    I purchased a Samsung UN55ES8000 55 inch TV. It was great to look at. But after two years the LCD panel went out... so now what? Samsung support's response, "sorry but make sure that when you dispose of it that you do so safely." REALLY!!! I spent $1900 for that and that is it? What is the Samsung name or brand worth? Absolutely nothing to this consumer. Two years. I have estimated that this tv was turned on approximately once every two weeks. That would mean that we have turned it on approximately 75 times. If I amortize my cost over 75 uses this TV cost me $25.33 every single time I turned it on, and now I have to lay out an additional significant capital outlay to replace it. Now you may ask why am I only turning this on once every two weeks? Because this TV was located in a room that had two TVs and this one was simply not as convenient to watch as the other one.

    I bought a 64 inch Plasma TV about 2 years ago from Costco. Model #PN64E533D2F. About a year later the TV would turn on but I would receive no picture. Samsung eventually sent a technician and he could not fix the problem. They had to replace my TV. Now it’s been less than a year and I am having the same issue. It seems to me that I paid $4,000 for a television that has a one year shelf life. I called and waited 1 hour and a half to speak to executive customer relations and I was told there was nothing that could be done. I have a VIZIO TV that I have had for over a decade and never had a problem. It seems to me that Samsung does not stand behind their products or service. I have several Samsung products including a Soundbar and 2 Galaxy mobile devices. A $4,000 television should last more than 1 year.

    Samsung capacitor plague lawsuit, **. Called Samsung support team 12 times. Spent more than 12 hours. Samsung has outsourced repairs to Precision TV. Called them 10 times. Spent 10 hours. Please do not buy Samsung TV. Worst customer service ever. Nightmare. You spend thousands of dollars for nothing, for junk. My new TV is still not fixed after 2 weeks. I am still struggling to it repaired within warranty. You spend money to get mental torture with Samsung. Please let me know other users who faced this problem.     TV failed after 22 months. Apparently there were 2 strips of LEDs needed replacing, at a cost of almost 50% of the original purchase price. The repair shop said 'I have been unlucky'. I would expect the design life of a TV to be much more than 22 months, particularly as a 3 year warranty was originally on offer. Samsung refused any financial help or recompense, I will never buy a Samsung product again and will log this fault on as many websites as I can find. Utter Rubbish!

    Samsung 42 inch TV lasted less than three years. Red stand-by light just keeps blinking and no screen action. Do not buy Sam sewage products, they are cheap and will not last. Vizio is a lot better and made in America. What junk and company could care less.

    Bought a smart tv in 9-15 because it was suppose to be easy to set up on the screen. I called the company 4 times and they could not set it up. They traded over the phone but it did not work. I should call my DIRECTV company. I called them. Was told to call Samsung. Called to talk to a supervisor, was on the phone 48.44 min. A girl Martha talked to me and said he was on the phone. Would not let me talk to him. Transfers me to another dept. Was on for another 10 min. Then got disconnected. I had to pay a tv man to program my remote and tv. And help me get the Internet. Samsung doesn't seem to care about their customers. I will never purchase a Samsung again.

    Do NOT trust Samsung customer service. They are liars and they don't stand behind what they say. I just bought a brand new 60" Samsung Plasma TV (8500) that constantly buzzes very loudly and even over the volume when watching TV. It was like this from the very start, right out of the box less than a week old. I love and have owned many plasmas, I have never heard a TV buzz like this before. Anyways, we called Samsung Customer Service and at first they seemed helpful by saying they will take care of it and no TV should be buzzing like that. Yah right, was I stupid to have faith in Samsung's assurance. Long story short - Samsung said that the TV buzzing was not normal when we first talked to them and that they would fix it. Well, that was conveniently before the 30 days when we had the opportunity of returning the TV. Then, conveniently after the return period it was deemed "normal" of this TV model. Yah, right!

    Hmmm... How their little minds change so conveniently. Not to mention during this time I have called many times and all they do is delay, delay, delay by saying "they didn't receive that email", and "give us time to follow up with the technician" and "I have to look into that"... just ** delay tactics. Now I can't return the TV since it's past 30 days now and guess what... Now Samsung tells us that it's normal and that model has a buzzing noise. Well thanks a lot for a $2300 mistake that you guys made and I am now paying for your ** product. Just an idea Samsung - maybe you should put a warning label on the box of this TV that reads "WARNING: TV BUZZES VERY LOUDLY OVER VOLUME" and let's see how many TVs you sell being honest and upfront for once.

    After this experience, I will openly express how garbage Samsung really is and talk everyone out of buying Samsung products. I will never own another Samsung product every again because Samsung = poor quality, bad customer service & avoid it at all costs! Please don't be fooled by Samsung's reassurance that they give you with their fake warranties and fake customer service reps. Their bottom line is getting your money no matter what. If you bought a Samsung product RETURN IT ASAP! Better yet, don't buy it in the first place. I hope this helps even at least one person, then at least the $2300 wasn't completed wasted.

    I purchased a Samsung TV from Sears. Less than 15 months it went out completely. I did not purchase the 2 year warranty as I knew Samsung was a trustworthy company and I would not have a problem with the TV. After communicating them numerous times, they were of no help. I need a repairman they said and they would not take care of the bill. I bought a 50 inch TV and it was not cheap.

    My TV developed the same issue that over 2000 people have reported. The TV switches on and off on its own. CBS also did an investigation. Samsung did offer free repairs for this issue till 2013. I advised them I did not receive any notice. They no longer cover it, gave me a repair order# and that I would have to pay if I cared to have the repair. Needless to say they do not stand by their product,and I will never purchase a Samsung product.

    I have purchased two TV's in the past 8 years and have poor results with of them. The first TV did not last but 3 years, screen went out. The second TV sent under warranty to replace bad one, just blacked out several weeks ago, needless to say not under warranty. I call independent tech. and $354.00 later TV still not working. Technician said power supply grid was the problem. Tech. brought TV back and it lasted before going out again. Now, I am waiting on another part that's currently not available for that model. I have lost all confidence in Samsung products. Although, their TV's rate high I fail to see why, based on my experience.

    21 months ago, we purchased a Samsung Smart TV, 60 inch, model # PN64F5500AFXZA. We have enjoyed it, until today. We had had a couple of instances when it was turned on, the sound came on but no picture. Today, it did that and my husband unplugged and plugged it back in. He turned it back on and sparks flew out of it, and it died. We now have to have a service tech come out in 5 days and look it over. Not sure if it is dead or not. Very disappointing.

    I have the 55" smart model number UA55F6400, which I bought less than 2 years ago, all of a sudden the screen goes black, and the LED flashes for a few time and nothing happens, just a blank screen. Called Samsung service center in UAE and they agreed to send a technician but I have to pay 300 AED which is about 80 USD for the technician to just check out, not including repair and parts fees. What a rip off, a brand new TV fails after less than 2 years, and I am pretty sure it is an electric component as this is what all indicators are, which will end up costing me a ton of money to replace it. Avoid the hassle. Don't buy Samsung.

    Perhaps if Samsung put as much effort into building reliable products and taking proper care of customers as they apparently do stuffing this board with the suspicious spate of recent five-star reviews, customers would have no reason to complain about them. I bought one of the company's DVD players a few years back, and it wouldn't play CDs correctly. The problem was the firmware, which the company never corrected. Out-of-the-box systemic malfunctions of this kind are simply NOT acceptable from a major brand.

    I have white dots on my DLP TV model: HLS4676X/XAA. Samsung said it's out of warranty and the service company wants to charge $500-$600 to fix the issue. Recently, I found that there was a recall on this issue and customer service argued it's an isolated issue until I proved on the recall. They accepted the recall and pointed me to customer relations. I own 2 Samsung TVs, Phone and DVD Player. As I am looking to buy a 4K TV, I will not make the mistake of buying Samsung again. I also explained to customer service and customer relations that if there's a recall on a car, doesn't the service center offer a courtesy repair. I paid about $1500 for the TV and this is the level of customer service I get. There have been times where I had paid to replace the DLP lamp, but this is a defective product and all Samsung repeatedly says is I can get it fixed as an "Out of Warranty" service (which means I have to pay).

    I purchased a Samsung TV that has a problem which makes the TV reset itself over and over again after using it for not even 2 months. Called Samsung customer service, after being on hold forever the worst part was they didn't want to acknowledge there is a problem with the TV I had, but they knew about other problems in which they were involved in a lawsuit. Samsung's customer's service is horrible, basically telling me "it's on you now, not our problem." They couldn't even tell me how much more money I was going to have to invest in a Samsung TV to get it to do what it was supposed to. I was transferred from department to department, I talked to at least six people that couldn't tell me anything other than "it's your problem, you're going to have to deal with it." Never again will I purchase a Samsung TV. Beware of their horrible customer service!!!

    The smart hub works sporadically. The remote requires a long time to enter the data, when it works. Buy a normal tv and get a device such as an Apple tv to access programming.

    The subject TV has manifested the On/Off with clicking widely described on the web and, apparently the subject of a class action lawsuit settled by Samsung covering a capacitor defect in thousands of TVs. That settlement apparently lasted until mid 2013. The subject TV manifested this problem in 2015. I contacted Samsung by phone, described the problem in detail and asked Samsung to address the defect despite the fact that it was apparently no longer covered by the settlement. I was given a number and told I would be called back. I was, but then I was passed along again, each time with the statement, "We will take care of you."

    Finally, after about an hour on the phone, I reached Executive Services and they acknowledged the problem was caused by a capacitor but would not offer any assistance. I then went online to the website chat room. There, the technician disavowed that any such problem existed with a capacitor(s) and said the settlement did not cover the subject TV. I told him he needed to contact Executive Services. After that he closed the session. I am fully aware that Samsung has no legal obligation to me but, given their sterling reputation and the fact that this was a known defect that in my case manifested after their legal obligation ended, I had hoped for more. I have three Samsung TVs; they will be my last.

    I have a model number LN46A630M1FXZA Samsung TV. When turning it on the screen will flash, sometimes make a screeching noise, power off and then power on again. This process happens anywhere from 3 to 5 times. Once it is done the tv works fine, picture and sound are good, until the next power up. I've seen this exact same complaint on other forums so it is apparently a design flaw. When new the set wouldn't work properly on one particular "over the air" channel. Called Samsung more than once and they said the problem was with the broadcast station. Oh Really? Sounded like a tuner problem to me. Samsung tech was no help at all. I should have returned the set right then but didn't want the hassle of shipping it back. Now that the warranty has expired, the power up problem has begun and will soon make the set unusable. Don't expect any help from Samsung Support.

    I paid over $2200 for a 60" Samsung Smart TV, which I absolutely loved until after only 3 years it just stopped working. It just turns off and on every 30 seconds. I call Samsung and there were zero help. I had to pay Best Buy $100 to diagnose the problem. Their recommendation was that I buy a new television because the parts to repair it would cost more than a new TV. Needless to say it won't be a Samsung.

    We purchased a Samsung TV 6 years ago. Recently we started having a problem and called in a Verizon technician who stated it was a bum capacitor. We called Samsung and we were told they are not responsible and fixing the problem was up to us. We went online and found out that Samsung has known about the problem and yet refuses to accept responsibility. To us, this is a similar situation as it is for the auto industry knowingly having faulty parts in its cars.

    Samsung LCD 51." Beautiful picture. Easy to operate. Never a problem with it. I'd buy it again. The controls are easy to use, but it takes a little time to master changing all the various attributes such as color, brightness, screen size, sound, etc. Out of the box it was very easy to setup and use.

    Samsung 65" LED actually has more features than I care to use. Internet access, 3D, voice controlled etc. Great TV, very clear and sharp picture. Internal speakers still leave much to be desired so I have it connected through a Yamaha receiver with separate bass. It rock and rolls when watching movies, especially action.

    Television is great, fairly easy to set up, everything was pretty self explanatory. The down side is the remote control. It's not a sturdy remote and comes apart when dropped. This remote is key to making the screen full size. So when damaged you have to buy a universal.

    Samsung 610 630 series LCD TV Model LN40D630M3F was having trouble turning on and off. Then the ports that you hook your internet devices to began to have problems. One is not usable at all now for the internet but works with our DVD player. The remote that came with the TV went out in less than a year, but we were able to purchase a replacement which works fine so far.

    Television and picture quality are very good. No distortion when watching sports or fast action footage, and HD shows are dramatic. Very good color and sound. One problem -- the television will sometimes turn off (or on) on its own. It has come on in the middle of the night, and many times has just turned off while we were watching it. It can be turned on (or off) again quickly, so not much of a problem, but a noticeable flaw nevertheless.

    I have had the TV for less than 2 years and don't watch it that often. I am now experiencing a green vertical line through the screen that can't be fixed according the repairman. The main board and power component had to be replaced for a total repair charge of $350. I have never had such a poor experience with a TV. I have rarely had to have a TV repaired.

    I have a 48" LED Samsung (2014 model). Setup was very intuitive, screen display is sharp in any type of lighting. One improvement made over prior models was to eliminate the tone played when turning on and off. This is my second Samsung which seems to be a solid contender in flat screen TVs.

    Samsung LCD 40" LN40A450 purchased from Sears 1/24/09 for $884.79 taxes included. The TV has worked perfectly so far. It was easy to move when we moved to another home. We hooked it to a dvd player, a vcr easily. Also connected it to a laptop so we can watch downloaded documentaries on the tv screen. Absolutely no complaints to date!

    The picture and sound qualities are really good and it is light enough for one person to carry it and even set it up. The size I needed to fit my spot was just right and I believe I needed no larger than a 32 inches and I believe mine ended up being 31 inches which is just the perfect size for my spot.

    Their product model number UE43F5300 has broken down with no picture but has sound. After doing an investigation this fault is happening often and it also happens with the Sharp models who use the same TCONN board part number BN96/23812B. This is obviously a manufacturing fault or just plain down bad quality components which is totally unacceptable from any big manufacturer. What seems to be happening here is that they are making TVs which only last for 2 years.

    They (SYKES) have offered an engineer to come around and inspect the TV and tell me what I already know. I feel that this company really needs to pull up their socks with the quality which they are producing with their LED TVs and probably many other products. They look good on the outside but on the inside it's a pile of junk. What happened to producing a TV that lasts for 20 years instead of some scrap that you chuck away after 2 years of use. Sorry that is just not good enough! I have complained and I urge you to listen to what I say as you do not want to have the same experience which I have had with their product and quality of customer service.

    I have slowly changed all my Sharp/Sony/LG tv's to Samsung. The Sams are flat screen, some Smart tv, some regular. They all have an awesome pix, sound and features. I have used them both with cable and satellite. Satellite is definitely a better pix. I believe one is 40 inch, one is 50 something and another is a 20 inch.

    I bought this set after not having a TV for 4 years because the reviews were so good. I agree it is a good TV for the price. The picture quality is very good for a low end unit. The speakers especially are very good & I do not need component speakers unless I wanted surround sound for films. The Samsung warranty was 2 years and it is bumper to bumper, covered everything even accidental breakage!

    32 inch flat screen. My issue is lack of controls on actually tv when I can't find remote. I don't know make/model. Suspect it is 2013 model year. The control is toggle at bottom and makes me very unhappy. I have to unplug because can't determine how to turn off. Picture great, 32 inch plenty big for me.

    I have a Samsung LED Smart TV, 47 inch, purchased around 2011 or early 2012. Picture has always been great, no issues with the TV whatsoever, but the Smart TV apps have always had some issues. For example streaming video will regularly "blink." Otherwise it's great.

    I purchased this tv several years ago. It lasted about 2 years and the screen went black. I was able to unplug it and plug it back in and it would come back on. Eventually went completely dead. Took it to the repair shop and had to put in a new board. $250 later, it worked great. Picture is really good. Lasted about 2 years and then started doing the same thing. This time I had to leave it unplugged for about a month before it finally worked again, then it did it again about 3 months later. I pretty much gave up on it and just left it disconnected.

    About 3 months later, I tried it and it worked again. This last time, it lasted about a year and just now did it again. My whole issue is with the lack of quality work and durability that was put into it. Really has burned me out with Samsung. I purchased a refurbished Vizio flat screen, an older model, and it has lasted 3 years now and is still going strong. The Samsung was new and with a new board 2 years later and it still had the same problem.

    Bought a 60 inch Smart TV 3 years ago with a 5 yr extended warranty. Only my wife and I live in our home, so TV gets minimal play time. Our TV now shuts itself off constantly and we are unable to watch it. Contacted warranty service, assigned repairman and very cooperative, but total time to order and receive all the necessary parts is 5 weeks! My main concern is that we have a Smart Samsung in our bedroom, also! God help us. My advice--my next purchase will be an LG, or anything but a Samsung. Carefully read the other reviews. Everyone seems to have new TVs with the same problems.

    The television is 7 years old and works just fine and doesn't seem to have any problems which is good because it would be very expensive if I have to replace the tv every few years. It isn't a truly skinny model that is available today but it does its job and has a big screen.

    Samsung 60" Smart 3-D LED TV, 8000 series with Blu-Ray player. Have had no problems with it. Functions as expected. Excellent picture. I don't use 3-D feature often as I don't like to wear the active glasses, but works very well. Sometimes I surf the web with the keyboard. It will download videos and movies but occasionally the buffer overloads and it will lock-up. Quite annoying but occurs rarely. Maybe due to wireless connection or satellite modem - don't know the cause. Overall I would recommend.

    In the last ten years we have owned two Samsung televisions. The first one had issues with bulbs burning out and having to be replaced. Ultimately the HDMI port gave out and we could not afford the repairs. We bought our current TV on an Amazon financing promotion and could not be happier. It is not Smart nor 3D but suits our needs in the form of size, 70". Will buy another Samsung when the time is right and bump up to 80".

    I have 2 LCD TVs. One is a series 6 and the other is a series 8. The overall performance on both units is poor sound quality and a much better picture on the series 6. Sound quality is poor on both. Added surround sound system to both units and helped somewhat; however, my next TV purchase will focus equally on sound quality as well as picture.

    I purchased a Samsung Smart LED TV UN50F6400 on in Nov 2013 from famous Abt Store at Glenview, IL for $1276. I didn't purchase the extended warranty because I thought Samsung is reputable company. Yesterday I found TV suddenly stopped working (without any accidents). After power on, nothing shows up. I brought it to the retail store ABT. I was told that the TV had panel failure. To repair, it may cost the same price. What a piece of Junk! I regret I haven't read so many negative reviews before I purchased it. Samsung should refund it for so many customers.

    I have a 55" Samsung Smart TV. The picture quality is outstanding and I love the easy access to apps. The TV is pretty light weight considering its size and the stand is the perfect size for my mantle. I have had Samsung TVs in the past and I have never had a problem.     My tv is about 6 years old I've never had a problem with it. It's a 36 inch flat screen with a black finish Panasonic. I recently discovered that with the zoom feature on I have a much larger picture. I love it! I use captions and doing this does not interfere with the ability to see the captions.     Samsung LED TV not sure on the model number because they are mounted on the wall. My experience with this brand has been a long and good one. The quality is both sturdy and affordable. I'm definitely going to be making a purchase of a new 4K HD smart TV soon. Samsung is truly a great brand. Vizio is a great runner up I believe also.

    I have several TV's in the house and have replaced several TV's over the past couple of years. My most recent purchase was the Samsung LED Smart TV which has been a very good purchase. I have had the TV a bit over a year now and have not had any problems. The sound is very good as is the picture. The Smart TV features have been great with built in apps for YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime and more. I have added additional apps such as Sirius Radio which allows me to stream music through the house. The only complaint that I have is that the built in apps are sometimes slow to load and update. It is also a bit clunky trying to do searches with the onscreen keyboard.

    I have a Samsung 65 inch series 7 HD Smart TV. It's a fantastic TV, it has the best picture I could find. It comes with a Smart Hub remote and a regular remote, but the best part of the TV is it's user friendly. I have a 47 inch LG in my bedroom, a 60 Sharp Aquos in my family room, and a 46 Sony Bravada in my breakfast room and the Samsung in my office is so much better than all of them, not the size but the quality. I bought the Samsung last but I wished I had bought it first because I would have only Samsung TV's if I had.

    Model UE32H5000 LED Full HD. A very good relatively cheap 32" TV. Works perfectly with crisp pictures, sound is a little better than rivals having 2x10 watt speakers rather than the usual 2x6 watts. It was easy to set up with a good selection of choices for both sound and picture settings. I am on a limited income so this was the perfect choice for me. Would I buy another Samsung? Most definitely.

    Have a Samsung 55" Motion 120 non-Smart TV. The set has great color. The colors are both accurate but also smooth. There is no shearing, tearing, noise, gradations or bleed. It does everything a Big Screen TV should do - WORK! It makes no noise, but like all TV's I have owned. The colors are wrong from the factory. I have found that it usually takes some detailed tweaking to get the color just right.

    I am not sure the model but I have a Samsung plasma 50 inch. It was purchased several years ago around 2004 I believe. It has been going strong ever since and still has a really nice picture with no visible dead pixels. It has been moved several times from residence to residence during that period as well. There was a period when the bottom half of the screen would go black for maybe 5-10 seconds and then come back. This was very seldom and would happen randomly. However it hasn't done this in years. The only real issue I have with it is an audible humming that is noticeable when the TV is on and the volume is turned all the way down and it's quiet in the house. As I rarely have my TV on without the volume, this has certainly not been much of an issue but it would be nice if this noise was not present.

My husband did some research on this problem and discovered that it was a common problem that Samsung was aware of.     Samsung 42 inch - compact and easy to use. The setup was easy and simple. The picture is pretty clear. There are some problems with adjustments colorations however overall I would gauge the TV is a good bargain for the value.     Have 3 TVs - 2 are Samsung, 1 is an Insignia (smallest - about 20 in.). First purchased was a Samsung 32" (5 yrs. ago). Had it in our great room; no problems yet. Moved it to our bedroom about 2 yrs. ago. Purchased a 42" Samsung. Had it 2 yrs. - screen developed a darkened area about a year after purchasing. Picture completely gone in 2 yrs. Although Samsung gave us a discount on the same model new one and a 5 year extended warranty (cost $79.95), it cost us over $700 to replace and have new one installed. They did remove the old one without charging. 2yrs. for a TV is lousy in my mind. Pointed out that they didn't owe us anything. Not very consumer friendly.

    I have had (and still have) many Samsung TVs. From a 720 32 in to my current 40 in 1080 120htz, 47 3D TV 1080 p 240 htz, and my 60 in 3D TV 1080 p and 240 htz. They make you feel like you are part of the studio audience since they are so clear. They all have internet access and can handle network storage media so there is NOTHING I can not watch on any TV I own. I don't have to worry about getting up to look for my movies or TV to watch, I can just browse my network drives and play from the devices, directly. Not to mention Netflix, YouTube, and any other internet apps you want to use. Plus, all the remotes work with all the TVs so you can play jokes and turn off other TVs in the house without anyone knowing what is going on... good times.

    First I bought an RCA flat screen. Within a month the screen had a green line on the third side running from top to bottom. Replaced it and it had a light from bottom border frame. Had to return second time. Do not buy RCA brand. Could not see picture when the sun was out. Bought a Samsung and could not be happier. Picture is beautiful. Easy to operate. Love the smart tv. Do not buy RCA. It is half the price of Samsung but you get what you pay for.

    I recently had a 5 star local technician try to repair my Samsung TV. The problem is with the Inverters. Although I have audio, I have no picture and the sides of the screen chassis became very hot to the touch. He informed me that he could order the part from Samsung but because of the construction of this Samsung TV there is a good chance it can't be fixed. And there would be a hefty restocking fee. Bottom line, don't buy a Samsung. They have taken shortcuts in manufacturing their boards and they don't hold up. And many of these TV's have failed and Samsung has very bad customer support.

    So, I called Samsung Customer Support and the person that I spoke with didn't even get the drift of what I was telling her. She stated, "We have no reports of this problem." WRONG!!! Reading reviews from other customers, there have been many failed TV's with the same issue. I wanted to know how much a Inverter part would cost me. She said, "She doesn't have that information; you would have to get that from a repair person."

    Well, that's stupid. My repair person checked on a Samsung site for the part and price. It was apparent that she was just putting me off. And I told her so and many people have posted problems with their customer care. My repair person was correct. I will never buy another Samsung TV or other product. More expensive than other TV's and truly junk. So, I have to put a fairly new TV, out of warranty out on the curb for junk. Samsung, you should be truly ashamed of your customer service and bad product. This is why their stock has hit the skids and is in the toilet.

    Purchased a Samsung 55 inch Smart TV on Nov 1, 2014. Still under warranty until Nov 1, 2015. On Sept 2015 a thin purple vertical line appeared on screen. Did all of the troubleshooting and forms completed online Samsung requested. Representative gave me a case #. Got a ticket number when registering service repair from (Service Quick). Took day off from work to have repair. No show. I call them... company tells me the part is not in. I asked "when did you know?" They tell me for a few days. I'm livid... no courtesy call to let me know. Rescheduled a week later. Company does call to let me know part is not in... reschedule again. I call again... part is not in... the part is in. I ask rep to make sure. She confirms it is.

    I get call two days later. The rep tells me the part is not in... grrrr... Reschedule a week later Oct 9. Get a call in AM, they ordered wrong part. I call Samsung that evening... ask for refund or even exchange. Get a ticket number... told the refund dept will call me Monday Oct 12 or Tuesday Oct 13 to let me know if I'm eligible for refund. I receive an email on Monday night from Samsung support saying my repair ticket has been cancelled. More to come... their support service is terrible. Don't buy any of their products.

    Just bought after having an old tube type RCA that lasted for years. I bought the Smart TV and the color is great as is the sound. There are a lot of things you can do with the remote like set the time for it to go off at a certain time, change color and sound for sports events. I love it and would recommend it for sure.     I agree with the person's review of Uta of Winnebago, IL on Oct. 7, 2015 on this website. When will there be another class action lawsuit against Samsung LED television for having t.v.s reboot themselves? I've own my Samsung t.v. UN46EH5300F since 11/8/2012. In the last several months, my t.v. has been rebooting itself just as reported in the LAST class action lawsuit. I contacted Samsung and when I asked for their HQs address, the agent stated "he isn't privy to giving out the address" so I asked to speak to his supervisor, same answer and the supervisor asked "Why are you going to file a complaint? I said "yes."

    I didn't get their HQs address but the California Department of Consumer Affairs gave me an address. Unfortunately, the t.v. is out of warranty, convenient, just like the people who were involved in the last class action lawsuit. As far as I am concerned, anyone raving about Samsung must be working for them or have someone they know that works for them. I will never buy a Samsung t.v. again.

We have not had any problems that required us to contact Samsung or Sony, so I can't speak for company quality. We would not recommend Sharp due to previous experience with this company.     Purchased a 75 inch, 4K HD Samsung TV from Pacific Sales which is also poor customer service. Called for 5 months on our defective TV and no one will take responsibility. Stay away from buying a Samsung TV as you will not get anywhere with them to honor their warranty and Pacific Sales does nothing to help!

    I have a 60" Samsung 600 series Plasma TV that I am quite pleased with. The only problem I had was with a firmware update on the original TV. It bricked the set. But Samsung and Best Buy made it right and got me a new TV. Other than that the color is awesome! Sports look great with no ghosting or latency. I enjoy watching TV on this unit.

    Purchased TV in 2010... starting acting weird in 2011... could not turn tv off or it took hours to come back on... I was okay with that until now. TV then started shutting off by itself and would take hours to come on. Now, it's 2015 and only has sound and a black screen. If I attach a standard cable box, tv works okay except I can't turn it off because it flickers on and off until it decides to come on. If I attach HDMI Cable box, it doesn't ever come back on. Does anyone else have this same problem? They want $68.99 just to look to see what is wrong but from reading all these reviews there is a problem originating at Samsung. We all are experiencing the same issues with our TV's. Sounds like we need to do a class action lawsuit because Samsung feels it is our problem and not theirs. There is too many of us with the same issues.

    We have two Samsung televisions, one 8000-series and one 6000-series. We had one issue in the five years we've owned the 8000. The power supply malfunctioned just over a year after purchase. However, Samsung support did not leave us with an expensive living room decoration, and even though the warranty had expired, Samsung fixed the problem at no cost to us. The 6000 is four years old and has not had a single problem. The images are clear and vibrant, there is no jitter, and the available apps have added value to the viewing experience. These are thin flat-screen televisions and not overly heavy, which make placing and moving them very easy. The remote is silver, making it easy to find in our living room.

    The only drawback I have so far encountered is there is no way (apparent to me) to manually install an app. For example, my 8000-series is older and the older YouTube app is no longer updated. There is no way for me to upload the newer app version that my 6000-series has that is still updated. I'm sure a more tech-savvy person could find a way to do this, but I need a plug-and-play version. Also, I would like to see an easier way to connect smartphones with mirroring capability, not just music and video sharing.

    The set works looks fine and works fine. It's exceedingly thin, which makes it very easy to mount on a wall. It came with the "Smart TV" option, which also works OK, but it is annoying to have a lot of apps pre-loaded that I can't delete which require extra payment to use. Their customer service has been really excellent, however, they can remotely diagnose the TV and help with any configuration issues. I also got the Samsung sound bar and subwoofer, which enhances the sound quality, though I wasn't unhappy with the built in speakers. I just wanted a subwoofer.

    I first purchased the Samsung LED 75 inch UN75H7150 and had to return because the Netflix app did not work. Then returned it. New tv the Netflix did not work. The third tv the Netflix finally worked. Samsung would not help me. Thankfully P.C. Richard let me continue to return tv. Now that I am on third tv I am way too fed up to continue to mount my tv on the wall and take it down so I kept the tv. All the apps do not work properly. Tv freezes on every single use. I have never wrote a review in my life. I am so angry that this review probably does not make sense. Hopefully this part of my review does: DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CRAPPY TECHNOLOGY. I HATE THIS TV SO MUCH I WILL GIVE IT AWAY FOR FREE!!!

    The TV I have now is fairly new. I just bought it about 4 months ago. It is a Samsung 4K UHDTV 55". The UHD is wonderful although it took me a while to get used to it. It doesn't look the same as the HDTV, but the images are REALLY clear and you do kind of feel like you are right there. It's kind of like the difference between watching a show that uses film as compared to video. The picture is so much more colorful and detailed, especially if you compare it side by side with a 1080p. I bought the Samsung TV because I also own a Galaxy S4 smartphone and I love the quality of pictures you can take with their camera. I figured if their smartphones were so good at photos then their TVs must also be good.

    I bought a Samsung 3D smart tv with a pair of 3D glasses. After 2 months, I was using the 3D glasses and just turn it off and did not turn on again. When I ask for the warranty, they sent me to 3 different stores, and they did not had the replacement. After other 2 months the other glass was turned off too, and was the same process without response. I never received the replacement. I complained many times with no response. They just suggest to buy a new ones. The TV is fine but the service and warranty were so terrible and they never replace the 3D glasses.

    I bought this Smart TV a little over a year ago. One day all of a sudden it just didn't connect to Internet, so that means, no Netflix, no HBO. I had 3 chats with tech support and I did everything they requested to try to fix it, the last one being to manually updating the firmware. Nothing ever worked. Because nothing worked the last person I chatted with online said I needed to ask for a technician to come and fix the TV, so I did online, and all I got was an email asking me to call them back at tech support. When I did the person that responded was so condescending and when I explained that everything he was mentioning I had already done with tech support he said that I was being sarcastic.

    What does he expect when no one is helping? And on top of that they are repeating themselves over and over. So frustrated, annoyed and disappointed not only with the TV but with the brand, customer service and the whole system in general. This TV even when working, was never user-friendly. What a waste of money. At some point, the person I was talking to pretty much didn't let me talk and when I asked to be transferred to someone else he said I needed to call back and start over. Now I'm just waiting for someone from Samsung to supposedly call me back to give me instructions on what's next. I'm thinking what my next TV is going to be.

    Owned UN55GH6030FXZA TV for about 2 years - in spare bedroom so used very little - and now when I connect DirecTV or PC using HDMI port it works for few minutes then stops. I believe it is a heat problem because it is okay starting from cold unit (off for a while). This is the 2nd Samsung TV (other was 36") that had issues with video input. I WOULD NOT recommend ANY Samsung TV. Previous TVs lasted until we discarded!!

    We have several television sets, Sony, LG, Toshiba, and Samsung. Of all our sets we prefer Samsung which we own 3 of because of the picture quality, ease of use, and the quality tuners used. We live in Miami where it rains a lot and get our programming off the air because broadcast TV is better quality than either satellite or cable (including ATT Uverse). Heavy rain often causes my LG and both my wife's Toshiba and Sony to lose the signal, but my son's Samsung and the large Samsung in the FL room never lose reception. The picture quality of the Sony as well as the Toshiba is good, especially the bright Toshiba but both our Samsungs beat the others in the quality of both video and audio which together with the great tuners makes the Samsung the only brand of TV set I'd consider purchasing. It used to be that Sony was the winner but not any longer.

    I own a 55" Samsung flat panel television that has internet capabilities. Any size or model of any Samsung product I feel is the very best brand anyone could purchase. Don't worry about the extended warranty with this brand since it would only be a waste of money. I have only owned 2 Samsung flat panel televisions in the last 20 years and would feel more than comfortable spending the extra money for another one. Never would I buy another brand or an off brand for less money. Samsung is money well spent.

    I learned one thing today and want to share it so other consumers do not fall into the same issues with Samsung products. We have 60 inch TV less than 3 years old and the TV is turning itself on and off over and over. After some research, I found this to be a common problem with the Samsung TVs. In fact, there is a class action lawsuit on the same problem with a different Samsung TV model. Samsung refuses to fix the TV. I have always considered Samsung a reputable brand name but have changed my opinion full circle. The Samsung organization will not stand behind their products, therefore, they offer nothing to the consumer other than junk products. Samsung products and service sucks.

    I bought new Samsung 55" TV online from Buy Squad. Samsung is refusing to service TV. Samsung claims that Buy Squad is not a authorized dealer, hence there is no one year warranty from the date of purchase. They are refusing to send me in writing. VISA card benefits services department is a useless department.

    We have had our Sony for about 6 years. We have never had an issue with the television. It has a crystal clear picture and is approximately 60 inches. The color is excellent and adjustments are easy to make. The sound is good, not fuzzy. This was an investment and we have never regretted the purchase. I know that "big" screen televisions have decreased in price recently and believe that Samsung is a very competitive in pricing.

    This television is a smart tv model number un32f6300af. I have it for about 3 years and have been very satisfied so far. The picture is clear and sharp. I have other televisions in the house and this is the best picture quality of all of them. Having a smart television is a very convenient way to access the internet. The reason that I bought a Samsung to begin with was because my daughter had one and I always noticed how good her picture looked. I would definitely recommend this television to family and friends.

    I purchased all new Samsung appliances and a large TV. I'm on my 3rd TV replacement because Samsung could not get a technician that comes to my area to repair it. I live 23 miles south of Oklahoma City. The same story with my dishwasher, Samsung told me the problem was a $30 part. After three months of negotiation they agreed to give me a refund. I now have a different brand dishwasher. My TV is acting up again so I'll be calling Samsung.

    I bought a 40 inch SAMSUNG LED TV sometime in 2011. The model no. is UA40D5000PR. Then just a few months after the lapse of its 1 year warranty period, it began to have picture quality issues just a few months. (I did not avail of the extended warranty since I believe in the brand, being a Samsung, that is.) The problem started as a small blackish distortion in the picture from the upper left corner. Then it gradually progressed until it now affects almost 80% of the total screen area. Since the warranty period already elapsed, I could not claim for a free service or replacement.

    Product handling is not an issue for me since I am not a heavy tv user since I was working at the time and is usually at home on weekdays. I also bought an AVR together with the TV to protect it from power fluctuations and surges since I am aware these kind of TVs are very sensitive to power fluctuations. I did not pursue further repairs due to the cost. The repairman estimated it to take around 18-20 thousand pesos which is more than buying a new tv set.

    What infuriates me further is knowing from browsing the internet and youtube of posts pertaining to similar models having the same problem also occurring a little after the warranty period. This evidently proves of a defective product model/production batch that should have been recalled and replaced by SAMSUNG as their social responsibility to their clients. I have another tv which is a Sony Bravia which is now more than 10 years with us but still working fine and have not manifested any defect at all. Right now, I will definitely not be buying a SAMSUNG TV ever!!!

    I currently have a Samsung smart/UN55F6400 television. It has fulfilled all of its expected capabilities. You must become familiarize with the Control Panel or it may appear to be a little overwhelming at first. However, at times the mic app will pop up on its own. That's unsettling.
