    I brought a Washing Machine and a service contract from PC Richards. The machine Broke in August and I called for a service call. It took 2 weeks for a tech to check the machine. He was from a third party service company not from PC Richards as they advertise and he was very rude. It said he needed to order a part and it should take 4-5 days. On the 30th I called PC Richards and they had to call the third party service company. They told me it should be in by Friday, I called Friday and they said maybe Tuesday I called Tuesday and they said maybe Thursday. I called PC richards and ask to speak to a manager numerous times and no one called me back, I was told by the service department it was not their problem since they were not doing the repair, I told them they were since I bought the contract from them. All I got was lip service. I have been without a washer for a month. Don't buy from them.

    At first there was a major misunderstanding with the delivery details too complicated to go into here. Had to go in person to the store to get it straightened out. Your store manager, Omar, personally helped straighten out the situation and was able to get my fridge up to my apartment (4 floors up) himself!

    I have had no washer for 6 weeks. I am a senior citizen and I am paying to take a cab and haul my laundry to the laundromat in the middle of the pandemic despite the fact that I have an expensive 10 year warranty (and thousands of dollars worth of machines from PCR). I have talked to at this point over 50 different people on the phone and nobody can help. Several technicians were sent and nobody could fix the problem. I had to wait a month for someone to order a part and when it came, it didnt work. I now have waited another week begging them to get a service appointment or help resolve this. I called 4-5 times a day. Today I spoke to 4 people who told me completely different things and promised to call back but nobody did.

    The last lady hung up on me after yelling at me (today is 9/8 and I called at 450 to ask why nobody called me back). She didnt even have it in her records that a technician was here last week!!!! They literally have no records of my issue and I have talked to them for dozens upon dozens of hours. I am writing this review and crying my eyes out because of how many hours I've wasted talking on the phone with them and being ignored or lied to. Half of their representatives tell me it's completely unfixable because the model is too old. the other half say they have no idea what's going on. They tell me I need another service person to come, and then they say never mind, we need to just credit you for the machine and you must get a new one. Then they never follow up and when I call, they say they'll call back and they never do.

    But today, being hung up on after hours of talking and waiting, was the last straw. I am a calm person and I never raised my voice. I dont deserve this treatment. resolve my issue - it is such a quick and simple thing to help me. Do I need to send invoices for all the money I've spent doing my laundry outside my home during a global pandemic?

    PCR has absolutely horrible customer service. after dozens of different reps, nobody can help and my file has no notes, so i have to tell them my story a hundred times over and over again each time I call. I am in shock. I have bought tens of thousands of dollars of fridges, ovens, ACs, mattresses over the years. they couldn't care less. they're breaching our warranty to save a few dollars. I want to escalate this. I have already filed a formal complaint with the BBB and I am having my lawyer review our contract. Making me wait months and months for a technician and then telling me he can't do anything but they can't replace it either? I guess the warranty was useless to purchase.

    The experience I had at the Danbury PC Richards store was outstanding. Charles (or Uncle Charles as he calls himself because of my newborn baby) was incredible. He could not have been more friendly, went above and beyond to help my family and I find a new refrigerator.     It is a horrible experience and a nightmare for me, I bought a gas stove on 7/17/2020, unfortunately there was a missing part, every time I called the store, whoever answered the phone, said your sales off today, then hung up right away, I even had no chance to said a word, I am wondering if a sales on vacation or sick, there will be nobody can take care or help customer, what are they in the store for?

    Finally I get in touch with the sales, but he said, "I don't understand what are you talking about, there wasn't any problem wrote on the return paper," he seems to be no patient to listen to explanation, then I sent email with pictures to sales and PC Richard to proof that I didn't got the same product as PC's advertising, but I didn't got any response, I sent another email again to sales, then he told me by email, he sent a form to office for missing part, I will receive a missing part by mail, this is manufacture's mistake, it is not their fault; today is 7/29/2020 I still not receive a missing part, I feel tired and no patient to deal with this company again. P.C. Richard's advertising said that “We are here for you" based on above, is it true? For my feeling, I feel helpless and nobody willing to serve other customer in the store. I prefer to write a review on your web, because if I write a review on PC Richard, they won't post this review.

    I bought an Avanti washing machine and I didn't like it at all because the hose kept falling out of the sink flooding my floor and the last time it flooded my neighbors ceiling. PC Richards took it back, refunded my money and applied it to another washer Machine a GE this time. They have a hose that locks on to your faucet and it doesn't come off until you take it off. It's a bigger machine so I'm praying that it works but as far as PC Richards was concerned I couldn't be happier. They didn't give me a hard time. They took it back, refunded it and applied it to the other one. They truly stand behind their products. I went to the store in Gateway Mall and they were very accommodating.

    I purchased a tv on P.C. Richard & Son website which offered free delivery. They delivered on time and the day they said they would. I opened the tv box only to find the screen cracked. I called the service center and spoke with a gentlemen who asked me to hold a minute. When he came back on the phone he said, "You're all set. We will send you a new tv and take back the cracked screen tv" - get this - "the next day!!!!" I was in shock that it was all taken care of with that one call and the next day they showed up with my new tv took back the cracked tv. I am now a lifetime customer. Thank you P.C. Richard's.

    Updated on 04/25/2020: This is an ongoing case: On 14th March, a repairman from PCR made a service call, checked my washing machine, said it was ok, and left. Ten minutes later it broke down again. When I called PCR town days later - having heard nothing from them - they said they were ‘waiting for the part’. On 24th March, a repairman (different from the first ), called and inspected the machine. He said ‘the hose is busted’. And he would need to get a part. That evening (Friday 24th) PCR sent me a text message at 8PM to say the part was in and I should call to set a date for another service call. As it was a Friday and PCR Is closed at then weekend I cant call until Monday 27th April. This is a bit of a farce...

    Original Review: On 14 April a repairman visited. He fiddled and told me he had fixed the error (1E) problem. He couldn’t wait until the cycle was completed - which I understand. The machine broke down again within 15 mins of his leaving. PCR HQ said he would be back in 16 April. No show. On 20 April I called PCR and was on the line for :45. I was then told the earliest a visit could be scheduled is 12 May! Obviously unacceptable but I was told would be earlier if possible. We all know we live in strange times and I am grateful to have any service at all. But I know PCR can do better than this!

    The service Tech arrived at my house on 2/29/2020 promptly. Through troubleshooting he determined that it was my transmission. On the following Saturday the 7th he appeared without a clutch, in an attempt to fix the machine. However, it did not work. He once again stated it was the transmission. It is obvious to anyone who has ever driven a car with a manual transmission that this is the problem. You can hear that the machine does not engage when it tries to spin out, but does engage in the remainder of the cycles.

    I just called today to see if the part arrived and it did. The service tech is scheduled to come out again on the 14th. In the meantime I have lost 14 days of using my machine, which cost about $60.00 at the laundry mat. I have decided to never buy a PC Richard Service Contract Again, nor visit their stores. Why should it take over three weekends to repair a simple washing machine is beyond logic. If I took off of work to meet the tech, I would be out more money. I have even spoken to a supervisor at PC Richards to no avail. They should have negative stars.

    I had a friend order me a PC. However, once I got it and saw that it didn't have a number keypad on the side, I wanted to return it for something bigger and better. I was going to spend more money with them until they told me I couldn't return it since the box was opened. I didn't plug it in, turn it on, NOTHING!!! Now I have to keep the flipping thing. Please do not order anything from this company. I am going to leave a review on every media site I can find. I have never had a company that wouldn't work something out with a consumer.     I purchased a GE refrigerator and extended warranty for over $2,000 and it is in the process of being repaired for the SAME ISSUE for the sixth time!     I wish I could rate zero stars!! After trying to clear our washer/dryer combo for over a week, I called into PC Richard to send out a technician. The washer would not drain. I had to wait a week for an appointment. The technician then said it was a pump and had to order it. Pump was literally on the same day. I called back to setup an appointment and had to wait another 6 days for him to come back. Tech installs pump, doesn't even test it and leaves. That night we go to use it, and it floods our home. I call the store (it's after 7pm) and explain what has happened.

    The gentleman at the store informs me he's emailed the repair department and they will contact me first thing in the morning. I wait until 9:15 (they open at 8) NO CALL. I call the repair department myself and explain. The man on the phone tells me he will get someone out that day and call me back. No return call. I am at work fuming. I ask my boss to leave early, and head to the store. The manager at the store had to e-mail the head of the repair department for them to finally call me back with a next day appointment. This tech said it is a sensor and orders the sensor. Sensor comes in, and I wait another week for the install. A different tech (3rd one) comes with the sensor and says that it's not draining (original issue) and that the sensor does not need to be replaced. Orders a new hose and another part that is supposed to fix the problem. 3rd tech was very thorough and if we had received her first, I wouldn't be writing this.

    This was 2 days ago on Wednesday. I was informed calling yesterday that my parts won't be in until Monday. When I inquired about getting a new appointment for after Monday I was told I have to call back on Monday. I first scheduled an appointment on the 15th of January, Monday will be the 10th of February, and I can almost guarantee my appointment won't be made until the week of the 17th. This is unacceptable. I've had to send my boyfriend to the laundromat 3 times, as I cannot lift heavy clothes baskets in and out of my car to do it myself. I am very disappointed with the repair department through this company. They sold me a warranty but cannot even properly repair it. I also inquired about a new unit because at this point I'd just rather have it replaced. I was told I LOSE the money I paid for the warranty. I still have 8 years remaining on my warranty. I'm really at a loss either way I go here.

    We went to purchase a stove on Feb.1, 2020 at P.C. Richard Astoria store. A salesman by the name of Alam greeted us and took us to the dept. He was extremely helpful and we purchased a Frigidaire gallery range that has a grill, convection oven, etc. All the bells and whistles. We have purchased from PC Richard in the past, a TV, air conditioner and was satisfied with these purchases. We plan on buying another air conditioner and a dishwasher as my old one is starting to fail. I will definitely go back to the Astoria store and ask for Alam, who we consider a great salesman.

What a relief to not have to wander the aisle in search of a salesperson who is responsible for a football field-sized area of products.     Goal was to purchase a refrigerator, preferably a Liebherr or Bosch. In order to ensure proper fit, I ordered a measurement survey ($25) prior to the applicance purchase. PC Richard (PCR) makes it very difficult to do business with them. Their in-store staff have very limited knowledge and seem to focus on pushing warranty coverage, they do not fully price match, and are clearly confused about how actual product delivery takes place. It took 15-20 phone calls and 7 full hours to simply get a measurement. Highlights:

    - Survey: PC Richard provided 4-hour window for arrival time. Despite claims of updated arrival time + 30 minute call prior to arrival, neither happened.
    - Online & phone tracking wildly incorrect and not updated.
    - Did not show for measurement survey on first day.
    - Arrived early (driver called) next day but online tracking system still had them arriving 8 hours later.
    - Went to UWS store to buy after confirming measurements and had most of my questions answered.
    - PC Richard did price match the unit cost but Do Not price match on additional necessary items/services.
    - Very pushy to buy product insurance/warranty.
    - Nickel & dime for delivery (after saying free delivery at first).

    - Load up additional - unverifiable - costs around removing (even using a 3rd party, PCR is responsible as they are the ones getting paid).

    Over the last three months I replaced a washing machine, microwave and electric cooktop. Stephen ** was my salesperson for all three purchases.     On November 2019, we purchased a new washing machine because our previous machine of 10 years was not washing the same. Our salesman, Javier was very helpful and showed the machines they had on floor. He recommended a top load General Electric washing machine. He said they wash well and are a reliable brand. we have also heard about GE and went it. We never expected anything less. We received the machine that same week and of course started to use it that same day. We used the machine for two weeks until the machine broken inside. We contact PC Richards and were given the contact information for GE service repair. I call immediately and was given another number of a company that service's General Electric in Fresh Meadows, Queens. I had to do more research online because I was unable to get to anyone by phone and resulted to scheduling a service online for the next available another week.

    The morning of the appointment they called to inform someone would be going to the house and check the machine. The service worker came and took a picture of the machine from the inside and left with no other explaining next steps. We called after a week to follow up if they were coming in again or what was going to happen. Someone from the office answers the phone and reports they were waiting to order the parts and would be in contact. We would have to wait after Christmas. I call again the day after Christmas this its been two weeks, and a lady answers the phone they were waiting for 4 parts to come in and I called after Jan 2 hoping now holidays they were coming to fix the machine and they reported they were still waiting for parts to come in. It's been a month or more and we are still waiting.

    We went into the store this past weekend to find assistance from our salesman in the matter and reported he would find out what was going on. PC rep calls and assist in nothing. He gathers information about the machine and tell us we need to wait. Calls and tells us that we can't return the machine. We need to schedule another service day to come in. He attempt to schedule an appointment and can't give us an appointment either to come because there is nothing available at the moment. While we are still paying for a broken down machine. This whole experience with PC Richards has been the worst. It's been a lot of frustration and a waste of money. I will never purchase anything from this store again. Their service to customers is horrible. We are still waiting for something to be done. Save your money and go to another store.

    I have been a customer of PC Richard for a long time. My sales person Frank and the manager Chris at Greenvale location are so nice and professional. I have purchased several TVs, washer, Bose speakers and etc.. When I bought my king size mattress, I was so disappointed with the delivery process. I think PC Richard is using 3rd party delivery company when they are delivering mattresses. The delivery truck didn't have PC Richard logo. It seems like delivery guys didn't care. Extremely rude and unprofessional. I guess I was the last delivery of the day, and the guys started complain how tired they are.

    When I show them where the mattress suppose to go, one guy rudely said that it is not going to make it through my L shape stairs. I have clearly told him that I had a king size mattress in my room before that he should at least try to bring it up, but didn't even unload the mattress out of the truck. Once again he rudely responded and told me that they are going to damage my wall and the lighting that I needed to sign a waiver that they will not be responsible. When they left my house, I called the store right away and spoke to a manger and expressed how upset I was.

    Few minutes later the guy rang my door bell and wanted to come in again,but I felt very uncomfortable to let him into my house. They end up sending another crew next day who brought up the mattress to my room. In my option, PC Richard should not use 3rd party delivery company, need to train delivery crew be professional. No customer should be treated the way I was treated after spending so much money. I will still continue to shop from PC Richard, but not sure if I would buy a mattress from them again.

    I purchased a washer, dryer and refrigerator before Christmas. On Friday the appliances showed up with an installation team. Not only did they not know what they were doing, they complained non-stop about moving the appliances. I know have an old washer and dryer sitting in the middle of my hallway and an old refrigerator sitting in the middle of my garage because they decided they were too hard to move. To add insult to injury they left the new refrigerator uninstalled after causing a leak under my sink. The new installers that PC Richards sent out today said that they had pierced the copper saddle and that I would need to get a plumber to replace the pipe. To add insult to injury the original team claimed that they did not touch the waterline which is an absolute lie. I will never purchase through PC Richards again. I would prefer to pay more for the appliance and have it done correctly instead of dealing with this mess.

    I had 2 men show up to install a part on my recently purchased refrigerator in my garage. The part is suppose to keep the fridge from turning off when the surrounding climate gets cold. The one driver with a long beard seen the part and asked why the people who delivered the part didn't install it previously. I explained to him they stated they were only drivers, not installers. He started to install the part, but quickly gave the job to his partner. I don't think he knew what he was doing either. Half way through the job the one with the beard hands me the paperwork to sign. I asked them how is plugging the part in the only thing that will fix this fridge? It looks like they are heating coils and need to be attached to the fridge somehow, not just folded up and shoved in the wiring compartment. He said, "The job is done, you need to sign." I said I would not sign until the job is done and I get an answer.

    The job is done is not an answer. He stated that is the answer. He noticed I placed the paperwork he handed me back on the garage floor next to his tools and became more angry. He said, "Did you put that there," I said, yes the job's not completed. He demanded I pick it up and sign it. I asked him to leave my property since he was getting aggravated and I felt threatened by his demeanor and attitude. He said he needed to finish the job, (Really? He was just standing there) I said, "Your partner can, you can get off my property and go back to your truck. You are rude and disrespectful and I won't sign anything until the job is done and explained to me. You should know what the part does and where to put it in the fridge if you're getting paid to install it." He refused to leave.

    I warned him several times I was going to contact the police to remove him if he didn't leave my property. He refused. I called the police and the drivers kept knocking on my garage door for a signature and then started standing around my front yard. Finally they just sat in their truck. Just before the police arrived, the truck finally drove off. This is ridiculous behavior and I will NEVER deal with this company ever again.

    We had a refrigerator delivered on Friday and they were to take the old frig out at the same time. Because we were the first delivery they left our old frig and were to come back first thing Sat at 8:00 am, they never showed. After three calls I was told they would be there between 3:00 and 6:00, they never showed up. On Sunday I went to the store and was told that they would pick up between 9:00 and 12:00 on Monday. They never showed up. I was just told that they would pick up on Tuesday between 12:00 and 3:00. It will be three days of my time waiting for P.C. Richard and Son to pick up the old refrigerator. On top of that the new Samsung refrigerator did not work so I went online and found out how to short out a switch in the hinge to reset the freeze, ice maker and water dispenser to get it to work. I will never go back to P.C. Richard and will never recommend them to anyone.

    The pair of installation contractors came first to assess the installation - to do a survey. They filled out their form to indicate that 3 hours would be needed for the installation - even though in conversation with one another I heard them say they felt it would only be a bit over an hour. They also incorrectly indicated that they would need to set up a wi-fi system. On the basis of this survey, I was charged for the installation by PC Richards - but when the same two men came to do the installation - it took them an hour - and they did not need to do anything to my wi-fi system because I set that up myself.

    They also did not bring with them a ladder or any substance to fill the holes that they drilled - and had to ask me to loan a ladder and provide caulk. I admit I do not know how often this type of job might become complex unexpectedly. But the price I paid for the installation was more than twice what I had to pay for the cameras - I feel sure I was over-charged by this pair of installers. I called PC Richards to complain after the installation was complete and was told a manager would call me - but did not receive a call back.

My fellow reviewers are conflating two issues. My problem occurred after the TV was delivered. It was there that they dropped the ball. Update: They came to my home, we turned on the TV, and it worked fine as expected. Now what? Every time I turn on the TV I have to be concerned as to whether it will go on?     Original review: On November 21, 2019, I purchased a Samsung 55" 4K UHD smart T.V. The price including delivery and set-up was approx. $875.00. The set was delivered on the following Saturday. The tech turned it on and it worked fine. I turned it off. Approximately 4 hrs later I turned it on, and no sound. This has happened multiple times since purchase. I called P.C. Richards and apprised them of the situation. They told me that a repairman would come between 9-12 or 1-4 PM. I asked if I had to take the day off? I asked what they would do if the problem doesn't happen when they are there. No answer. I purchased a new TV for $850.00. I want it to work with no problems. I don't want it repaired, I paid for a PERFECT new one. I want it replaced. At this point they are coming Fri. I am off from work. Otherwise, too bad.

    It's October and who needs an new AC? Me that's who! I wanted a particular AC that was hard to find. I moved to Queens, but I reached out to Ralph ** the manager who works at the PC Richards on Kings Highway in Brooklyn NY, to locate it for me. He was always so helpful in the past. Of course, he found one for me right away. I wasn't able to make in the store for a few weeks so Ralph helped me place the order over the phone.     On delivery day, Ralph was off but checked in with me to make sure everything went smoothly. There was a hiccup with the delivery time, but that was an unforeseen delay.     On Thursday my dryer came to the end of its life. We went to PC Richards immediately and purchased a new washer and dryer. Our salesman, Adam assisted us with the purchase. Oddly enough he was our salesman when we purchased our kitchen appliances 2 1/2 years ago. I love the selection and with Adam's assistance we were in and out of the store in 15 minutes. There is no push to purchase more than you need - no pushy hard sell, just an intelligent explanation of the features of each appliance.

    Not only are the sales people great but the delivery/installers are equally awesome. There are always some quirky issues when purchasing appliances for an older home. The delivery people knew how to circumnavigate all problems and did an excellent job delivering and installing the washer and dryer, getting around issues that an older home present. We actually only considered going to PC Richards because of the equally excellent service that we experienced when we bought the kitchen appliances.     I purchased a flatscreen TV four years ago. Just recently it went out. I had extended warranty on it for five years. I contact PC Richard. They sent somebody from the warranty department to come inspect my TV. They ordered a part for me. Replaced it within two weeks. I’m sitting home with my daughter looking at TV. I smell something burning like wires. I’m looking around trying to figure it out. My daughter said, "Daddy look at the TV. It’s blinking off and on." I look at it, see smoke coming from the back of the TV. I pull the cord out the wall. I Contacts PC in the morning. They sent someone out again. He looked TV. He said, "I’m going to re-order the part again." I asked him, "Why don’t they just won’t send me a new TV instead of fixing this again?" He said he doubt very much they will credit you money for a new TV long as they have the parts that we keep fixing TV. This is terrible business from PC Richard.

    Bosch dishwasher; I was last stop of the day. Installer cut a LARGE hole in the back of my cabinet to get the tubing through since there is a cabinet between dishwasher and sink. A hole was already there but apparently he was in too much of a rush to fish the tubing through. Without asking me he starting drilling a larger hole. When I realized what he was doing I questioned him and he said, "too dark down there." His helper played with his phone almost the entire time and even asked for the wifi password to my house so that he could be on my wifi. There was no reason for this installer to damage my cabinet! I have an expensive high end kitchen. Although the hold is at the back of the cabinet so it's not visible, I know it's there. This was a sloppy installation and totally unnecessary had this guy taken his time.

They had to order parts for the dishwasher and I had a second technician out this morning to install those parts. Both technicians were absolutely wonderful! The customer service throughout this entire process was hassle-free and stress-free. Unfortunately you don't always see that with stores anymore. From start to finish this entire process was suprisingly pleasant. Both technicians were professional, timely, courteous, and knowledgeable. Five star service for PC Richards and both technicians!     I purchased a tv for $1399.00 At the Atlantic location in Brooklyn. When the tv arrived in the box my husband was there to accept it. He opened the box and plugged it in and there was damage in the screen.     If I could give this less stars I would. We have always purchased our appliances from PC Richard and never had a problem until now. We purchased an Electrolux Dishwasher in Dec. 2018. It was working fine until May. Had warranty and called service guy came out and said he fixed the problem. 2 or 3 weeks later we get another error code-same thing. He said we have to replace the motherboard-ok. 1 month later another error code-came again-fixed. Ran 2 cycles-same error code. The last time for that service call it required 2 technicians- oh we can only schedule Tuesday-Fridays. More time off from work. One guy shows up -the other came after the 1st guy was done because he forgot his "gloves".

    Now I have a lot of patience but ok. So now 2 cycles later it gives me the same error code. The technician is suppose to arrive within 4 min. 15 min later he called me and has no idea where he is at. After an attitude on the phone he arrives to tell me he has to order the part- it was just replaced but he never opens the dishwasher to see. Walks out after giving an attitude about my pets in the house (parrots). I was and am livid. I call the PC Richard manager -who is like calling the President-nobody wants you to talk to him who tells me my dishwasher is 2 yrs old (not even a year) and it's up to the service manager. I go to call them and I get attitude from the girls answering the phone.

    I finally talked to Cheryl who was forwarding my request to speak to manager. He called while I was at work and wouldn't leave a phone number other than the service number. So what choice do I have? I will file a formal complaint with the BBB and never ever buy another thing from PC Richards. Customer Service? Not existing. Horrible.

    Purchased a top of the line KitchenAid refrigerator in 2017. Needed to be fixed within a year after purchase. Was a nightmare getting service then. Now, another year went by and refrigerator and freezer completely stopped working. I am 15 days without refrigeration and freezer because it took so long for an unqualified tech to come out and look, order a part that took 5 days (things can be overnighted in this day) and then when tech came back and replaced computer he discovered that it wasn’t the problem after all! He doesn’t know what’s wrong with it! So here I am waiting another 5 days before they can come back and service with a “qualified technician". I will never shop PC Richard again. Their service is absolutely horrible. Their warranty may cover costs but you go for weeks without your appliance.

    We have bought all our appliances from PC Richard for many years. We always bought the 10 year service contract. In years past if there was an issue they would give you a time slot that was reasonable, within a couple of hours. They would call when the tech was on the way and there was even a way to track the tech via an app. All this was wonderful because you didn’t have to take the entire day off. Now a discourteous person gives you a 5 hour window which translates to a whole work day. This would have been tolerable if it weren’t for the fact that this is the third attempt to repair the same appliance and they still have not offered to replace it. This has been going on for over 5 weeks. 3 days lost work...so far.

    A few months ago, I went to our local P.C. Richards to purchase some ink cartridges for my printer. One of the reasons I shop at Richards is because their service people are usually exceptionally helpful. This time when the agent entered the card he just told me that my card was invalid and had either been deactivated or closed because of lack of use and that he couldn't help me! That didn't make any sense. I contacted Richards via email and got a response from Todd ** telling me that 15 years ago, Richards changed banks and went to a 16 digit number instead of the 13 digit number that was on my card and they notified me at that time of the change. The implication was that I hadn't used my card in 15 years!

    I replied back that not only have I used my card frequently for electronics, air-conditioners and such but as recently as September of 2019 (10 months ago) my wife and I used that card to purchase a refrigerator for over $1,300! In fact I had a billing receipt from Synchrony Bank, using the 13 digit number, dated January of 2019! If there where changes made it wasn't 15 years ago but just recently! It seems that for $1,300 they were able to access my account but for a few ink cartridges it was too much trouble! So much for good old fashion customer service!

    Todd ** did get back to me and explained that, by law, I had to contact the bank because they weren't allowed to. When I go to a P.C. Richards and us a P.C. Richards charge card, I expect to be dealing with P.C. Richards NOT some online bank! When a self-proclaimed "Family owned business" starts deferring its customer service to an online bank, watch out! Probably part of the reason so many family owned stores like W.T. Grant, or E.J. Korvette, or Swezey's or Pergament's or Woolworth and so many more aren't on the scene any more! I wouldn't be surprised to see P.C. Richards join that list.

    I have been purchasing from PC RICHARD for YEARS! I never experience within a 1/2 hour 4 different people, two who are supervisors, one sales person and one sounded like she hated her job because she was not friendly or uplifting about being excited for me that I have a delivery tomorrow, and hope that I enjoy my new dishwasher! Because I gave this girl the wrong measurements, off by 1 inch (but was mistaken I was correct) for tomorrow’s delivery, I got a call from the sales person who I purchased the dishwasher from. I tried telling him I told the girl wrong measurement, but she said it should be another number. I said to the sales person, "Don’t worry. It’s going to fit." Anyway it was like talking to a wall. How many times could I say it was a mistake in the number.

    He kept telling me, "Well we don’t want to go there and not be able to install because it won’t fit." I got so frustrated, told him I’m not stupid, the girl should just mind her own business, and that the dishwasher is going to fit. I hung up and called back to speak to the manager. Stupid move on my part. Another wall that I was talking to. He said, "We want to make sure." I also told him I’m not going to waste my time and pay over $600 for a dishwasher, for them to come and it won’t fit. I explained to him everything I tried to explain to the sales person. He really was not too apologetic about it. So I decided to call corporate! Stupid me again. OMG, the supervisor stopped me as I was trying to tell her I have been a customer for many years. She said, "You don’t have to tell me that. Just tell me what I can do for you!" REALLY? Wow I never will buy from PC again! Horrible. Horrible attitudes from all!

    I bought a Samsung Refrigerator and regret it: In The first year the Unit started to leak inside. I called the Warranty Dept. They fix the problem and three months later it started to leak again. With a history of multiple repairs the problem keep coming back. On my third call I inquire about the Store credit to buy a different Model and all I get is the runaround. They rather send a technician home for repair instead of honoring the warranty.

    This is until the warranty expires and you get stuck with a defective appliance. That's the game!! And you lose! I called the Store Manager to complain about the situation and his reaction was, "Sorry can't help you with any warranty issues."     I ordered a gaming laptop from the website to be exact. I wanted to exchange it for a different brand because I changed my mind and the laptop I bought has a terrible battery life. I lose over 50% battery life in less than an hour and the graphics are horrific on this thing. I talked to a “customer service” associate on the chat portion of the website and he told me I was able to exchange the laptop for greater or equal value, so I called customer service and they told me no... I do not understand why I can’t exchange it for a better model/brand of laptop. It makes 0 sense to me.

    So now I’m stuck paying money to this terrible company for a computer I don’t even like/want and is defective.     I would not recommend buying this product as it is not worth the money and highly unreliable. Whatever product you select, ensure you are satisfied with it within the "letter of the law" thirty days as PC Richard has no flexibility to help a customer who expressed disappointment in this $245 product a mere 32 days after receipt. But in hopes of getting hello from PC Richard I was informed of the error of my request and referred to Samsung for warranty resolution. The old adage of a "satisfied customer" has no flexibility here so make sure you like this very poor performing product or you too will be relegated to hopefully getting help from Samsung while, during the resolution, not having a product to work with.     About two months ago, we bought a dishwasher from P.C. Richard & Son. We had a third party install the dishwasher, but it kept shutting down on its own and we found out it was defective. We called in to have it replaced, and the technician came in and charged us $40 to remove the old, broken dishwasher. We paid and expected him to install the new dishwasher, but he told us we'd have to call and make another appointment for the installation because he was only there to remove the old one and just left the new dishwasher in the box. We were a little annoyed by this, but we called and made the appointment anyway.

    We went to work the next morning and when I got home from work, I heard what sounded like a rain storm in my garage and found water streaming and falling from the ceiling and down the walls. I ran upstairs in a panic closing every faucet I could find before I found out that it was coming from under our kitchen sink above the garage. It turns out the technician didn't turn the water off all the way and once I turned it off, the leak eventually stopped.

    P.C. Richard handled the situation terribly from the very beginning. The employee they put in charge of our claim sent us a letter telling us not to start work until we sent them estimates of the work or they may not pay for damages, but they were only giving us 30 days to give them the estimates. They also kept trying to say we turned the water on, which we don't even know how to do. They also asked why we didn't turn the water off after the technician left??? We hired professionals for a reason! We're clueless when it comes to this stuff! We called and emailed this employee for three days to get insurance information with no response. Every time we tried to call someone else, they said we would have to talk to the one in charge of our claim and they could not help us.

    We were scared the damage would only get worse, so we finally left a review on social media which got their attention and we finally received a call from someone else at P.C. Richard who said they would be investigating the claim. We had a disaster recovery company come take a look at the damage and they found a LOT of water damage and mold. P.C. Richard's claim adjuster looked at the damage and spoke with the disaster recovery people and took the estimate for the repairs before leaving and telling us to continue with the repairs.

    Some time later, more water damage was found under our kitchen floors. Since this was not part of the initial estimate, they stopped work and called the adjuster to have him look at the newly discovered damages. The adjuster was VERY rude to them and said "Do whatever you have to do, I'm still completing my investigation." This bothered us as we didn't understand how he could investigate the damage if he wasn't going to bother coming to look at it. At this point, we made a claim with our insurance as it was obvious P.C. Richard was trying to blame this on us.

    Today, we got a call from P.C. Richard's claims adjuster saying our claim was denied and that we told him we turned the water on?? That's literally the opposite of what we said! Why would we even say that? Our insurance is now involved and will be fighting P.C. Richard on this. If you do decide to have this shady company do any work for you, make sure you have a camera on their technicians at ALL times as they will do ANYTHING to not take responsibility for their mistakes.

    I purchased all of my appliances from them when I renovated my kitchen last year. I also purchased service contracts from them. What a huge mistake! The ice machine in my refrigerator stopped working in May so I called them. They misdiagnosed the problem and allegedly fixed it on their 3rd or 4th visit, which was a Saturday. The service guy "installed" a new water valve. When he was done with his work, I went away for the weekend and came home Monday morning to a flood that caused my wooden floor to warp and bend. They came back a few days later only to tell me that the value that they "installed" was "broken" and they needed to order a new one (he obviously did not install it correctly).

    They said that someone would contact me about the damage to my apartment. Three weeks later and they have still not fixed my refrigerator and I have had the wooden floor, wall and crown molding in my hallway ripped up and treated for mold. All of it has to be replaced. Also, the cold water in the kitchen had to be shut off to avoid further flooding. I filed a claim with them and STILL HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEM. They have no concept of customer service and taking responsibility for their actions. DO NOT USE THEM.

    I purchased a 15,000 Btu Frigidaire Air Conditioner Wednesday July 10th 2019 at the Forest Hills PC Richard store from Sal. I was also told if the Plexiglas needed to fill in the open spaces around the unit was just as I described it which was no more than 2 inches on 3 sides then I would pay $15-20 dollars for the installation of the Plexiglas and the Plexiglas. I was told that someone would come to my home Friday and do a measurement to see if the air conditioner would fit and if all was good the air conditioner would be installed Saturday the following day. I was supposed to pay $25 for the measurement.

    Friday no one came or called. I called the store and they said someone would come Saturday but would call me first. I get a call Saturday morning at 8:48 saying someone would be there between 9 and 10. No one came. I called back and was then told that someone would be there between 12 and 1. No one came. I called again and was told someone would be there after 3. Someone did come after 3. He took the measurements and said the air conditioner will fit in my window and I would not need much Plexiglas.

    I told him I would move my printer out of the way and a storage stand. He said not to worry, he would move it. He said he would install it Monday. Monday came and no one called or came. I called the store again and was told that they do not do installations on Monday and someone will come Wednesday. The person I spoke to was Roy. I told Roy that I got so much misinformation and lost Friday, Saturday, and Monday waiting around for nothing. Roy took $70 off the bill. Instead of paying $217 I would pay $147.

    The installer came Wednesday on schedule. I asked him his name and got no response. I asked the helper his name and got no response. So I left it alone. The installer was very nice and so was his helper. They did a nice job and I was satisfied. Then he asked me for $217 plus the Plexiglas. I said I was supposed to give him $147 plus the Plexiglas. We got into an argument. I called the office for Roy and was told he would not be in until Thursday which was tomorrow July 18th. I told the person who answered the phone the problem and I was told I had to pay $217. I said no. I asked him if he would call Roy even though he was off. The person said hold on and I don’t know what he did but he came back to the phone and said I can pay the $147 plus the Plexiglas.

    He told the installer to collect $147. I gave the installer for the installation $162 but he did not have change. So I said I will give him $142 and pay the $5 balance on a credit card. He said no. He also asked me for $75 for the Plexiglas and labor. I told him that I was told based on my description to the salesman that I should pay between $15 and $20 dollars. My description was 2 inches on 3 sides. The actual Plexiglas installed was 2 1/2 inches on 1 side, less than I predicted.

    The installer insisted that he get $75 and I told him that’s not what was discussed when I purchased the unit. We got into an argument. I said I will give you the $147 and the $20 for the Plexiglas but he refused and said he doesn’t care what PC Richard says, that’s his price. I said, "You work for PC Richard and before coming to my home, you should know the agreement so when you arrive there are no arguments or discrepancies." The installer asked me to sign the paperwork. I said: "Can I read it?" He said, "Just sign it." I said I would like to read it. He said it says he gets $75 for the Plexiglas and I am paying $147 for the balance. I said, "Take off the $75 for the Plexiglas" and he refused. We got into a heated argument and he left.

    From day one I had nothing but misinformation, missed appointments, one person not knowing what the other person said, no apologies, inconsistencies on the prices, the appointment days and times, only confrontations and in the end it was a terrible experience. The installer left without taking the money which I offered him. I told him I will speak to Roy tomorrow when he returns to work.

    We ordered a Friedrich 12,000 BTU a/c unit over the phone on a Saturday. We were told it would be delivered the following Friday, so we paid in full and waited. Thursday mid-day we received an email stating delivery was scheduled for Friday. Shortly after the email, a sales representative called to say that delivery needed to be rescheduled for sometime next week due to not having the product in their inventory. Consequently, they offered to give us a 10,000 BTU they had in stock instead. That was of no help, obviously. They said to expect a call in the near future for the new delivery date. We called back shortly after that and spoke to a supervisor who managed to set up a new delivery date the following Tuesday and would earmark the specific unit with our order number. Apparently, it is first-come, first-delivered, so to ensure we would be first, they would do that. Wrong!

    Tuesday, the same scenario was repeated. However, they did offer to give us a $150 discount if we waited indefinitely longer. We canceled the order and were issued a prompt credit card refund. However, on Tuesday we received a call from their delivery people saying that they are 30 minutes away and to prepare for delivery! We called the main sales department back and it ends up that they did have the unit, but sales promptly told them to go back to the store. They would not allow us to reopen the order. They were rude and hung up on us after we told them how disorganized and unprofessional they were. I'm glad we discovered this sooner than later as we were looking for a company to stock our rental units with appliances that now need to be replaced. This was the test for them and they failed. A friend of our's later told us that she also had a similar experience. Buyer beware!

    I CRIED. I had a fridge delivered and installed yesterday and it's DEFECTIVE from DAY 1! This is my 4TH time of getting a DEFECTIVE fridge from PC Richard since this March!! I usually do not spend the time to document a bad experience but this is beyond belief... I am not new to home appliance buying and have purchased from P.C. Richard in the past. My experience was fairly decent in the past and therefore decided to purchase through them again this time when I needed a new fridge and range. On Mar 8, 2019, I ordered a Whirlpool fridge Model WRF555SDFZ (4.5 stars out of 2000+ Google reviews/ 4.5 stars out of 1600+ PC Richard website reviews).

    I did a lot of research and decided this was the most well reviewed and reliable one. #** Nicholas was the agent who assisted me on the PC Richard chat and he's from the Mount Laurel Store in NJ (not my local store but he said it doesn’t matter). I also needed a new range but wasn't sure about the right size so when I called the Mount Laurel store again, the store manager whose name I don't recall, helped me out and arranged for a survey to be done on the same day of my fridge delivery.

    Delivery Attempt #1: I emptied out everything from my old fridge only to find out that the new fridge has a fairly noticeable dent on the front upon delivery. I rejected the order and the delivery man suggested that I tell my sales rep to have the warehouse check the fridge before delivery. The guy then did the range survey. Frustrated ‘cause I wasted my day and labor, I called the store manager to schedule for another delivery. I specifically asked him to make sure the warehouse checks for defects and he promised this time it will be fine. And oh, I couldn't even place an order for the range because the survey for the range was never entered into the system. Great...

    Delivery Attempt #2: As usual, I have to wait at home the entire day for the delivery because the time frame they give you is like 9-4pm. This time I waited to inspect the fridge before emptying out my old fridge. And guess what? The fridge was DEFECTIVE upon delivery. AGAIN. This time the rubber thing on the inside of one door was peeling off PLUS there was a noticeable dent on one side of the fridge. Seriously? I rejected the fridge on the spot and called the store manager. He said he didn't know why it happened again but guaranteed that it won't happen again the next try. At that point I was thinking about canceling the order all together but I researched again and this Whirlpool model I picked is pretty much one of the best reviewed ones out there AND Whirlpool is supposed to be one of the most reliable brand for fridges. Ok, so maybe I was just unlucky. 3rd time's the charm, right?

    Delivery Attempt #3: DEFECTIVE with 2 BIG DENTS on the side. OK I am done. I canceled the order and was waaay too frustrated to even call back a regional manager who called me later on to apologize. What's the point? I need a break from PC Richard. I asked the delivery guy whether this is common and he said Whirlpool has poor packaging and the chance of getting a defective unit is like 6~8 out of 10 times. WHAT?? Ok, so I asked which brands have better packaging and he said LG, Samsung and GE. I've ordered Whirlpool appliances (washer & dryer) from Home Depot before and this sure didn't happen. Fine, maybe it's different with the fridges and I kept getting told that it's the manufacturer's poor packaging.

    (4 months later...) There was no good sale going on so I waited for July 4th to buy a different fridge. Although I was pissed off at what happened with the PC Richard delivery issues, a part of me was trying to believe that it's the manufacturer's packaging issue. This time I picked an LG fridge and a GE range. I decided to call up my local PC Richard store instead of talking to an online agent. PC Richard does have better price AND it's easier to speak to someone when you call so I decided to give them another chance because I DID have good experience with them a few years ago when I bought a new GE fridge and range for my rental unit. According to my online research, LG is the 2nd most reliable fridge brand after Whirlpool. This time I placed an order with #** Imran from my local Forest Hills store.

    Delivery Attempt #4: DEFECTIVE. AGAIN. I CRIED. Delivered w/o any apparent damages and I was so so so thrilled. I emptied out my old fridge and finally got a new fridge installed. BUT 4hrs post installation, an ERROR code showed up on the display panel!!! Called LG and they said the fan that cools off the fridge may be broken. REALLY? Seriously??? Are you freakin' kidding me?!?!

    I wanted to cry because I am back to square one. I am back to calling and calling, scheduling and rescheduling for service or possibly re-delivery. I am glad they have a 30 day guarantee but now I have absolutely no faith towards PC Richard. How do I know that the 5th delivery won't come with issues again? It cannot just be the manufacturer anymore, there must be something seriously wrong with their warehouse product storage control. I don't even know if I can still return this fridge. No wonder they keep recommending their Extended Product Warranty to you... I just want to cry...

    I had really high hopes for this a.c. considering the hefty price tag. It takes quite a while to really cool down my 800 sf apt. It is a little quieter than my previous Frigidaire which lasted me 11 years!!! My first unit was faulty so I had to have it replaced. It was a total NIGHTMARE getting it replaced from P.C. Richard!!! Apparently the fan was hitting the styrofoam. I was also disappointed since this was a new quality unit. P.C. Richard NEVER contacted me again to apologize or to offer me anything. Next time I will purchase a Frigidaire and buy it from another retailer!!! I feel like once they sell you a product and you have issues they pass the buck. Not a happy customer here.

    I bought in PC Richard & Son AC CP08G10B. Great, but pricey unit. After it was already installed I realized, that it was much too powerful for my studio 400 Sq feet, but living area only about 200. You can't, however, know before trying. The great new that the store without any problem exchanged it to the smaller and less expensive model Frigidaire FFRE063201, which fit perfectly. Not only that, they also matched the low price I found. Highly recommend the store. Do not go anywhere else. Save your time and money. Two pieces of advice though. Never destroy the original box and make good research before buying.

    Delivery and installation of 18,000 BTU Frigidaire A/C. This was a difficult installation as it was behind floor washing machine and gas dryer (2 units). First old 9-10 years old Sears Whirlpool 18,000 unit had to be removed, and it was attached to the bottom of a double hung window. Trying to remove screws with an electric drill broke one bit! Finally that done, window wouldn't budge to go higher to lift cage, but finally succeeded. It was a most difficult job and men (Driver # **) and his helper were EXCELLENT. Totally professional and determined to do a good job -- which they did. Kudos to them!

    I bought an LG refrigerator back in 2012 and it stopped working. I have have made 80 calls to customer service - about an hour and a half just explaining what happened - five visits that made me miss work to fix it and it is still not working. Who ever is in charge does NOT WANT TO STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT! I have three children and I have to buy food just for the day. I do not know what plans they have. When they come to fix it has triggered the fire alarm and there are noxious smells. I bought this by Gramercy store on 23 street. It is a complete disappointment!     I am extremely upset with customer service at PC Richards. My dryer hasn't been working. I called for a technician to come fix it. First time apparently the technicians car broke down and couldn't make it, so I was cancelled and I lost a full day. The second time the technician comes for less than a minute and says he couldn't fix it that he needed to order some parts. (Mind you, this is without opening or inspecting the machine) Again, another day lost for me. They called me stating the technician would come back the following Wednesday and that was the only next available. I took off work to wait for the technician because they don't schedule an exact time they have an open window b/w 12pm-5pm. I took off work for this. Come Wednesday 2 technicians show up they weren't even here for more than 15 min and say they couldn't fix it because they ordered the wrong parts!! PLEASE TELL ME HOW THIS IS FAIR??

    I called PC Richards and explained I couldn't continue taking days off for this and that it wouldn't be fair them charging for work not being performed correctly. They were extremely rude... They do not value their customers. It's not like they are doing the work for free!! I have to pay out of pocket. I asked to speak to a supervisor..Was transferred to a supervisor named Andre **. Supervisor states they will call me back with a quote.. I stated it would be very unfair for me to have to pay for work that was not done. Supervisor says they will give me a 50% discount! Why? If nothing was done?? They still have to order new parts and schedule a 4th visit.... I am completely shocked and disappointed on the treatment they give their customers.     I purchased a Samsung washer and dryer from PC Richard along with a 5 year warranty. My dryer's heating element went and I scheduled an appointment online. We had to wait a week for next available appointment. The service rep came out, inspected dryer and informed me he had to order heating element and a pulley. He told me it would take 2-3 days for the part to come in and that PC Richard would notify me when order is in so I may call and reschedule for the tech to come out and repair. I received notification on 5/29/19 pm that parts were in.

    I called the next morning to schedule for repair and telephone rep told me next available appointment is next Tuesday. I was outraged that I have to wait another week for repair. The phone rep responded to me that it's only a couple of days. I would like to know what her definition of a couple of days is because when I count from today (Thursday) I count 6 days (1 day away from another week) of not having a dryer. Do your techs only come out on Tuesdays????

    I purchased this refrigerator from P.C. Richard & Son in NYC. The dispenser began leaking after having the refrigerator for a few months. I purchased an extended warranty and after several visits from a technician to replace parts and attempt to fix it, the problem continued. P.C. Richard & Son exchanged the refrigerator for another same model. The same thing happened almost immediately. More visits from technicians, including one from Fisher Paykel and no one could fix the problem. I then agreed to accept an exchange with the less expensive Fisher Paykel model that has no ice maker and water dispenser. P.C. Richard & Son will not refund me the difference in price. This issue has gone on for almost a year and now I have to deal with trying to get my refund. Terrible experience.

    Purchased a GE range on April 30. Bottom storage drawer came defective. Twice they sent someone from the service center. First guy said that’s how they were manufactured. Really????!!! Second guy tried to fix it and then said it’s damaged, I need a new one. Well the run around was endless. Needless to say, I’m still waiting and it’s May 17! Steinway’s PC Richard manager wouldn’t get on the phone. Busy I was told. The one who sold it to me, was quick to tell me call service center. Service center just keep telling me “sorry”. Absolutely not acceptable!

    Now waiting to hear from GE to give approval for exchange... Approval! Seriously!! I get a defective range and I have to wait for an approval to get a new one... Never again!     I bought the newest Sony TV at PC Richards, 86 Street Broadway, NY. The TV is great, but the salesperson insisted that I must buy a soundbar since the sound of the TV was according to this salesperson just awful. It was difficult to judge in a store where so many TVs are on display with the sound on and so I bought the soundbar. From the very beginning I hated the soundbar, the sound was much too deep and even with the "clearing the sound" button it sounded wrong.

    After months the battery of the remote control for the soundbar ceased and I tried the TV sound. What a pleasant surprise--the sound was clear, natural, crisp--just right for my sensitive ears. But what a bad customer service. A big lie to get a higher commission. Of course he also wanted to sell insurance for years to come - but here he could not get me to sign-up. Final thoughts: Yes, you can buy at PC Richards, but don't buy anything else than you intended to buy. The TV's are absolutely great without soundbars and insurance.

    We spent our entire day shopping in big box stores for a new dishwasher. Needless to say we found it impossible to get help or find anyone who worked in the appliance department with any knowledge on the appliances they were selling! WELL THAT ALL CHANGED WHEN WE WENT INTO PC RICHARD ON ROUTE 440 IN JERSEY CITY! As we entered the store we were greeted by an extremely nice gentleman - his name is Benny, who was more than willing to help us. He took us right over to the dishwashers, asked us what we were interested in and answered all of our questions.     I have been making all of my major appliance and big ticket electronics purchases from PC Richard & Son for many, MANY years. On Friday, 4/26/19, after reading countless reviews on different products, I was ready to purchase a dryer, a refrigerator and a dishwasher. I also needed a few accessories and I purchased the extended 5 year service contracts for each item. Not comfortable scheduling the delivery and installation online, I called the customer service number to make the arrangements. I spoke with a lovely lady named AnnMarie ** who was so sweet and knowledgeable, and she really went above and beyond the call. Unbeknownst to me, there was an outage in my area so my phone service kept disconnecting. AnnMarie had to call me back 4 times to complete my purchase, and she got my delivery scheduled for the very next day - on a Saturday! God bless you AnnMarie!

    My delivery was scheduled between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. I didn't know it at the time, but the truck that my appliances were on broke down so another team of installers had to get them off the other truck and take over the job. I believe this was an act of divine intervention because Victor and Omar were amazing! The dryer and refrigerator installations went off without a hitch. They only had to remove my kitchen door to fit the fridge through but have clearly done so many times before. The house I live in is quite old so when Victor pulled out the old dishwasher, the connection was anything but standard.

    Luckily he was up to the challenge and he and Omar were able to get it up and running. Victor said that the team who was supposed to do the installation originally would probably have refused and made me call a plumber. I'm disabled and on a fixed income and Victor understood how important it was for me to have the dishwasher because standing to wash dishes was killing my back. God bless you Victor and Omar! As an added bonus, Victor and Omar are cousins and enjoy picking on each other. They were so funny and very entertaining and it was clear that they really enjoy working together. I got new appliances professionally installed and a free comedy show! Thank you P.C. Richard for hiring such wonderful people!

    We have bought few appliances from Wayne P.C. Richard & Son, few months ago. Salesman (Dilip **) listen our needs very carefully and explained pros & cons about the other manufacturers appliances. And he suggested Samsung refrigerator that was feet in my kitchen. My wife is so picky (you know women) but surprisingly she agreed with salesman!! Well if she is happy, I’m happy too!!     I went online purchases Avanti 24 inch Gas Range. First time using the oven. It was off by 50 degrees. Went to store and bought a new oven temp thermometer. After a few more uses the pilot light would go off while the food was in oven. Anyway I called P.C. Richard. Very nice. They were going to send a technician to service next day. I receive a call that they would replace it. Of course not the same brand. The lady called me after one hour and told me that I could go to the store or call online number to replace my Range. That was nice. I went online choose. New range.

    Called the online purchases rep and she took all info and told me I can have delivered anytime. I told her It would have to be Saturday since I have cooking to do for Easter dinner. She understood. On this purchase I decided to add on 3 years of repair but I had to pay more money for the new range of was not fair but whatever I did. Today I called customer service to check on my delivery. They told me I was not on the delivery sheet. The only thing was I am sorry. In the meanwhile I have a dinner and food to bake. I'm using my neighbor oven my mom's and my sister. Thankyou P.C. Richard and Thankyou to the woman who took my order. I will not mention her. Happy Easter for ** It up for me.

    I was told my dishwasher could not be repaired and it would be replaced. Then I am told the dollar amount was below what I originally paid. It has been over 3 weeks with no dishwasher and no resolution. I am not happy with the way P.C. Richard & Son is handling this. It is a big thorn in my side. There is a lot more to the story, but there isn't enough room here to write it all down. I hope they can make this right and do more than just replace the old dishwasher. They are about to lose me as a customer. A loyal customer for decades.

    My window was a Saturday 7 am to 4 pm. Showed up at 2. Had to order part. Next appt to install part Saturday 7-12. No one showed up. Dispatcher upset with me when I called at 1130 for a status and was told “It’s not noon yet Ma’am...." At 1230 I had to cancel because no one could tell me if he would show up. Mgr apologized and said, "How 'bout Tuesday 530?" So come Tuesday I left work early to be here and NO ONE ever showed up, apparently someone on their end cancelled my appt.

    So here we are another Saturday. This time they were going to make my first appt so I wouldn’t waste my day. Well tech just called 930 am. He is an hour away and should be here by 11. The most ridiculous company I have ever dealt with and beyond. Appalled at the treatment I have received and even more appalled is they don’t care. If the shoe was on the other foot and they had to take time off for a warranty repair and lose money I assume things would be different.

    Unacceptable customer service. 1st time one guy came looked at the machine and 5 min later he said he needed to order a part. 2nd time he came he had the part but JUST noticed that the dryer was on top of the washer and it was connected to gas. He didn't want to take the dryer off and also didn't want to disconnect the gas himself which that I understand. The 3rd time 2 people came and the new guy who was there realized the other tech had ordered the wrong part... Now today they're supposed to come from 7-11 but they haven't arrived. I talked to an agent & she can't contact them. She says they must still be on the previous call and that 7-11 is an approximation. Unbelievable that they can't be reached & that we the customers can't be contacted letting us know that they're going to be late. UNACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We've been down our washer for 2 months now...

    When we purchased our cooktop from the Brick, NJ store we were told they will take care of everything. Survey done to see if cooktop would fit in our cabinet. We were told it will be close with a small gap that will require a trim kit which they'll make. Then we got a call that they want to install the cooktop and remeasure to make sure trim kit is correct. Weeks later installer comes at 8:50 PM and discovers it is the wrong trim kit. It is one for an oven not cooktop. Been trying to get this resolved for a week and sale person keeps promising a resolution. When we ask to speak to a store manager they are busy but will call us back and twice have not heard from them. One of the worst service experiences I've ever had. Beware!

    We purchased a refrigerator at the Yonkers, NY store last summer and paid extra for a warranty. Our water dispenser and ice machine broke at the end of December. We called the first week of January to get it fixed. The repairman who came said it was an installation issue, and installers who subsequently came said that we needed a new valve for our water line, which precipitated another repairman visit (who said the exact same thing as the first repair man), which caused, yet another visit by the installers who said that we needed a new refrigerator.

    At this point, we have had no fewer than 7 men at our home over the course of almost three months, with absolutely no resolution. We have spoken with Brandon and Eddie at the store, who either don't return our calls or say there's nothing they can do, and argue either that we don't need a new refrigerator, or it's not in their power to get one to us. The people at the store and the people in the service department continue to fight and blame one another, and we're left with a refrigerator that is not working properly.

    Our most recent visit by the installer resulted in a verbal and written confirmation that we do, in fact, need a new fridge. I spoke with Eddie about this a week ago and emailed him the receipt with this information. He has yet to call me back. I have tried three times this week and been put on hold for 10 + minutes, transferred, and been promised that someone would get back to us (still no one has). This is without a doubt the worst experience we have ever had with a business. We just want a new refrigerator that works properly, and some sort of recompense for the past three months of issues, visits, damage (one repairman made a mistake installing the valve, which caused water damage to the ceiling in our basement).

    TERRIBLE Customer Service!!! TERRIBLE Customer Service!!! TERRIBLE Customer Service!!! We purchased a display model microwave. The unit had issues from day 1. The display behaved intermittently, and the turntable did not turn. As per the receipt, it is supposed to be covered under warranty for one year from purchase date for parts and labor. We called customer service, and a repair appointment was scheduled. I took a day off from work to meet the technician. He came, was unable to fix any of the problems, commented that the fan for the magnetron was not working as well, and said he'd have to come back with more parts.

    A new appointment was scheduled, I took another day off from work to meet the technician again. This time two techs came out, they took the unit down, opened it, said it had been tampered with beforehand, and said they would not fix it and left. Their advice was "call PC Richard and have them replace it". I called PC Richard's corporate number, everything was very quickly pulled up, the rep told me she would look into it and call me back. Less than 5 minutes later she called back asking if I had the original packaging. I told her no, and she said to bring the unit into any store, they would replace it for a working one, just I would have to take it home without the packaging as that's what they use to ship it back to the manufacturer. I asked, and she CONFIRMED that the exchange had been processed and was in the system. All I had to do was bring the unit to a PC Richard.

    Same day, we drove 40 minutes through traffic to a PC Richard to do the exchange. Upon arriving, we encountered a salesperson who barely spoke English. After explaining to him the situation, he spent 10 minutes on the computer, and informed us they would not do the exchange. He said they'd give us a STORE CREDIT, not even a refund, for the purchase price. We asked to see the manager. We met Mark the manager, explained the situation, he disappeared for 20 minutes only to come back and tell us the same thing.

    We called PC Richard's customer service in the store, the first associate informed us that despite the problems, all she could do was offer a store credit for the purchase price. We asked to speak to her supervisor. We were connected with a woman named Nikia, who for the duration of the call was belligerent and rude. She accused us of trying to steal money from PC Richard. All that we wanted is for the product we purchased, at the price that the store sold it for, to work as intended. And if there were issues, for PC Richard to honor the warranty they themselves write on the receipt, and talk up to every customer. For PC Richard that is clearly far too much to ask.

    I’ve purchased a Jenn Air refrigerator which dispenses ice and water, which hasn’t worked in 2 months. Customer service has scheduled 7 appointments with 4 different service technician and each time the problem was fixed and a few days later the problem would return. I’ve called and asked for a supervisor several times and each time they advised they would call me back and declined to speak with me.

    Each time I spoke with customer service they would give me the textbook answer which I would always interpret as they didn’t care about my complaint. The service company doesn’t want to make the decision to have the refrigerator replaced and P.C. Richard's customer service declines to make the same decision as well. I’ve tried speaking with the store, they advised they can’t help. I’ve asked to speak the next guy up in the chain of command but no one is willing to help. I spent a lot of money on this item and customer service will not make the decision to make this situation right.

    When the delivery man arrived at my home I requested that they wear booties because I had just painted my entire house and refinished my hardwood floors! Right off the bat he started complaining to his partner in another language. I know this because I understood the other language they were speaking. They proceeded to bring in the washer and dryer and hook them up. When I requested that he be careful he just kept telling me “it’s OK”. It became apparent that they never inspected the appliance before they brought it into my home.

    After filling the washer with water, they begin the cycle to empty it and water flooded my laundry room and sprayed water all over the walls. There was no sense of urgency on their part to try to mitigate the damage which was occurring! I frantically ran to get a bucket to try to prevent more damage from happening. Then they proceeded to drag water across my hardwood floors and up and down the stairs. I kept asking them to please be careful of my floors and not scratch or get water everywhere. They just didn’t care!

    Finally when the water was somewhat cleaned up, they removed the appliance. On the way out they spilled more water everywhere and scuffed several of my walls! Not once did they ever apologize or even seem remorseful for the damage they caused. I called the store to complain and they said they would get back to me the next day and I haven’t heard anything. I am still trying to sort things out. Although the salesperson at the store was wonderful, it’s not worth the damage to my home caused by the disrespectful and uncaring delivery men.

    My experience with the PC Richard's staff at the Brick, NJ location was most relieving! I was met by an Associate, Mike, who immediately greeted me with a warm welcome without the pressure of pushing an immediate sale. He was engaging, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. His colleague, Rob, was equally as friendly. After explaining that a recent transaction with a competitor failed miserably, I found myself in need of a flat screen TV and corresponding sound system in which I was unable to procure after numerous attempts. Mike was able to provide me with the components I desired and more importantly provided me with the confidence that it would be installed in a timely fashion.     Bought a TV with an extended 3 year warranty here about 2 years ago. It stopped working while it was under warranty, so I called their service department. This was on January 26th - it took nearly two weeks for someone to even come here at all (Supposedly this was "out of the ordinary"). The first tech came here after I waited 11 days so that he could spend 2 minutes here, tell me they needed to order a part to replace. 3 days later, a 2nd tech came with two different parts. He took the TV apart, replaced the first part - no dice. Decided it "might" be the other one he had - "50/50" he said. No dice. Tells me it's the panel that needs to be replaced and the first guy misdiagnosed the issue so they'll now need to order the panel and send someone else.

    3 more days go by, the tech arrives with the new panel. He replaces it, the TV turns on, he leaves, and 2 minutes later, it shuts off. No power. Completely dead. Won't turn back on. The indicator light won't even come on at all now. I call them and they're sending a tech for a FOURTH time on this television now. This set has now been non-operational since January 26th - it is February 12th and STILL broken. In fact, it is now worse than before. At least when the first tech came, the unit had power and it was just the display that wouldn't work. Now there isn't any power at all. I am extremely aggravated. I have to keep altering my own personal schedule to accommodate someone coming here to service the same television 4 different times. It's lunacy. Just a terrible experience. I'll never buy anything from this store again.

    I bought Samsung Washing Machine on Dec 2009 from PC Richard & Son Woodbridge, NJ along with PC Richard & Son extended Warranty for 10 years. My Dishwasher was not working properly in Jan 2019 and tried all the draining procedures and but was of no use. I accidentally remembered that I purchased the extended warranty and called PC Richard & son for a service appointment. They understood the issue and thought it could be a drain pump issue and ordered a new one. The tech came and found that it was an issue with the washing basket assembly has broken and told he will order the parts and come again for fixing it. The appointment was fixed after a week.

    On the appointment day the tech called me and told that the washer part was not available as the model was discontinued and I will be given a store credit for the washer as per the contract agreement and I have to purchase a new one. I thought that the credit will be less and I was prepared to pay the difference to buy a new one. To my surprise, PC Richard & son give the entire cost of the washer I paid + the tax I paid. This happened in Jan 2019, after 9 years of my purchase. This is my first good experience of this kind. The Store Manager Mr. ** and the Sales Rep Pushpika was kind enough to go through the procedure and helped me to place the new order, of-course with a new PC Richard & Son extended warranty. Just wanted to share my experience with others, to make believe retail stores still exists, other than online, doing an excellent customer service. Thanks.

    I was told by Larry that they could deliver on a Thursday. While standing next to him after my purchase he said delivery would be Thursday morning. I never received a call or confirmation the day of. I called the store to find out Larry never dated the delivery and they weren't coming. I had to miss my early shift to wait home for a delivery that never planned on coming. Now I have to miss another morning shift to wait for the delivery again. Being a single mother of 2 kids having to miss 2 shifts of work is highly unacceptable.

    I received a phone call telling me I would get an e-mail the night before with a delivery time. I did not. The phone rang at 7:20 AM. I was still asleep. The delivery people came at 9:02 AM. They were knocking on the wrong door, and I had to go out into the hall to get them. When I asked why I had not received an e-mail the night before one guy answered "it's raining." That's not an answer. He then said I was the third one on his route. I told him he could not have delivered anything in my building before 9 AM anyway, because of our rules. Later I looked for the e-mail again. It had been sent at 7:24 AM on the day of delivery. This is no way to run a delivery service.
