We've been purchasing with P.C. Richard & Son for over 20 years. Every single one of our appliances had been bought from them. We're a big fan of their warranty and extended warranty. However, Since pretty much COVID, we've been having issues with the tech that they sent out. It was actually worse before it got a little bit better, but the most recent tech they sent out didn't really seem to want to do anything. This has been an issue going on and off, like they'll come in, and they'll turn on the appliance. And that's about all they'll do. So, like the last tech who came in, not this time, but the one who came in before then was fabulous. He was able to pull out the machine himself and fix it. This time, when the tech came in, he just turned it on, listened to it, told us we needed a part, and let us know that when he came back in, someone else would have to pull out the machine for him to repair it. It's a big difference in the people they send.

It was a fridge that we purchased five years ago, but we also purchased a service contract with it for eight years. The fridge has undergone multiple repairs. And at this point, it's been down for about a month. It takes about a week on average for a technician to come out. They've made multiple repairs, but they haven't fully addressed all the issues. They're scheduled to come out today to do one more repair, but for the amount of time that it's been down, we spoke to P.C. Richard about just getting a new fridge because the service contract says that we're entitled to another appliance if this one's that problematic. They called us yesterday or the day before offering, they said they'd send some paperwork over, but we haven't received any paperwork yet. So today we spoke to the manager from the store. The manager said, "Let us do one more repair and then we'll figure what to do next," which is odd because the day before, I spoke to a different rep who said that they would email us paperwork to give us the two options, either continue with the existing fridge and the existing contract or purchase a new fridge and purchase a brand-new contract with the store credit that they're willing to give us. So it's weird. Initially, they said they would give a store credit, but the most recent conversation seems as if that's not gonna materialize until we do the next repair.

The technician is awesome. Unfortunately, he’s been to my house too many times. I always get the same guy, which is nice because he knows my history and is very supportive. He’s one of the best service technicians you could have. I get excellent service, and the key to all that is the technician. He’s just an amazing.
The issue is the refrigerator. I love it, but I’m on my third ice maker. Over time, the fan stops working because it freezes over. It’s supposedly a common issue with this refrigerator. I do have an extended warranty, which helps, but I’m still concerned. They actually offered to let me swap out the refrigerator before putting in the third ice maker.
I didn’t swap out the refrigerator. The technician replaced the ice maker instead. Looking back, I kind of wish I had swapped it, but I’m not sure what I would have replaced it with. It’s a nice refrigerator. But as far as P.C. Richard and the service go, they’ve been great.
I’ve had the same P.C. Richard salesman for about 40 years, and I’m blessed because he’s excellent. If I ever have questions or need anything, he’s always available and helpful.

P.C. Richard & Son stands by their product and their service is great. It’s in our neighborhood, and we bought all our kitchen appliances and our washing machine from them. We were unhappy with the Samsung products that we got because they kept breaking down, and they had to come out again and again, until we eventually had to replace them. We changed them to LG and KitchenAid, and those are doing much better. That's why we buy from P.C. Richard ‘cause we can get an extended plan with them, and if there’s a problem, it helps, especially with Samsung products.

P.C. Richard did two services, one on the dishwasher and one on the refrigerator. Both technicians were great. They were very thorough and informative. That's why I get the service contracts with the appliances I buy at P.C. Richard. I've never had a problem when it came time to needing a service.
I've had the refrigerator for five years now and it's the second time the part is being replaced. Apparently, that part wears out. After the service warranty is over, I'm gonna have to pay for that part to be fixed. That's the biggest negative of the experience. But that's not P.C. Richard. That’s the particular refrigerator that I bought.

When I need something, P.C. Richard & Son is the fastest way of getting it. I bought my stove and refrigerator at the store years ago and I bought the dishwasher online. I had no issues with the quality of the appliances I got from them except for the dishwasher. I got it January and by March 6th, my dishwasher was broken. It's a Frigidaire dishwasher and the drain pump died in two months. It wasn't pumping water. So I went through my warranty and it's been a nightmare.
The warranty company made a few different trips to my home. They came, looked at it, and they had to order a part. They said it was the drain pump and the water pump. So I waited for the drain pump and water pump. They came back and installed the drain pump and water pump but nothing's working. Next thing I know, I needed a valve and a control panel. It took weeks in between ordering the parts. When I finally got somebody to come to the house again, they brought the wrong control panel.
They wanted to make another appointment with me for April 8th and the issue has been going on for over a month already. As far as I'm concerned, it would have been cheaper for P.C. Richard to replace my dishwasher than send six different technicians on three different trips.
I’m dissatisfied with the fact that I did not get callbacks from the warranty company. They have no customer service. This is the first time I've dealt with an issue. I had to scream, threaten to quit, get the consumer advocacy involved, and all kinds of things in order to get a replacement. They’re rebuilding my dishwasher when I bought it brand new. And during the time that I was without the dishwasher, I didn't even get an upgrade. We’re eight people and an infant so that’s a lot of dishwashing. They don’t understand because they’re not sitting in front of the sink until 10:30 at night washing baby bottles and dishes.
P.C. Richard & Son’s products are reasonably priced and they're convenient for me. They stand behind their warranty, however, it just takes too long to get it done.

I gave P.C. Richard & Son a scathing review because the whole experience was a nightmare. The policies they have in place are just horrific, and everything about the job was horrible. Our dishwasher that we bought in December, it’s taken till yesterday to get it resolved. They installed it wrong, they put clamps, and they even gouged out my mom’s floor.
They’re finally bringing me a new dishwasher now to make it right and make it whole again. They’re coming out to do that, and I’m just hoping that everything works out in our favor after this happens.

I had a washer from P.C. Richard & Son for eight or nine months. At the sixth month, it was making extremely loud sounds, which we thought was normal. It still washes but kept getting louder and louder. It only lasted from July to December before it went crazy.
The tech came over and knew what it was. I got a call and an email saying the washer is shot and needed a drum job, which would be very expensive. They sent me an email a day later saying that they can’t get the parts. I spoke to a gentleman for a while, and he said he called P.C. Richard in Stony Brook. They’re gonna give me a new washer and they’ll call me and set it up. They did what they needed to do so far, so it’s good.

My old refrigerator was 19 years old, before it went on me, I decided to get one now. I use P.C. Richard & Son all the time. The representative was good, very friendly, and helpful. When they installed my new refrigerator, the installers didn’t level it and didn’t have the wheels adjusted right. So they came the other day and fixed it.
I’d tell a friend to go ahead and check them out, they’d probably have a good experience. Do some price shopping and get a good deal.

My one-year-old washing machine from P.C. Richard keeps building up mold inside, and then the mold is coming out onto my clothes. It's disgusting. I tried cleaning it myself, then I had the service guy come. He told me it's normal. He opened it but he couldn't take the drum part. He said the part he cleaned should be good enough and it shouldn't happen again.
But when he left, it was happening even worse than it did before. He told me to run the self-clean, which I do all the time. You're supposed to leave it open after the wash is done to let it dry inside, use the self-clean. I left the house, came back, and there was water underneath the washer. I didn't realize what it was. He knocked the drain pipe out where it drains out of.
So it wasn't actually the washer that was leaking. It was he knocked the drain pipe out. So that was a big cleanup, and my husband had to fix it. And I still have the mold issue and they tell me that's the way it is. I really don't appreciate doing laundry with mold going onto my clothes. He was unfazed by it. He wasn't really helpful, and then he knocked my thing out, which I didn't know until later on. So I wasn't happy about that whole thing. They're supposed to come tomorrow, but I wanna cancel it because what are they gonna do tomorrow?
The manager was also supposed to call me, which the never did. I don't know who the manager was, who was supposed to call me. They didn't even call. I asked for a Saturday appointment originally. They never even called me back to tell me about the Saturday appointment. They just scheduled it for the Saturday, which is fine, but I thought about it. What are they really gonna do to fix the problem?
I've worked with P.C. Richard in the past and I would say, in the past, I would recommend them.. But this past time, I was dissatisfied. I know that P.C. Richard didn't make the washer too. I still don't know what I do about the mold problem. They really didn't do anything about that

I was raised in the neighborhood where there was a big P.C. Richard, and that’s where we bought all of our appliances since I was a child. My purchasing experience at the Carle Place store was excellent. Right away, I was approached by a salesperson who was very nice.
I eventually bought over $10,000 worth of equipment and appliances for the new construction I’m doing, including a washer, dryers, refrigerators, a stove and oven, and dishwashers. I even got involved with the manager and got some discounts, so it was all very well done.
The quality was not the highest quality equipment that I wanted, but what's there is good enough to suit my purposes.

I’m not happy with the stove that we purchased at P.C. Richard. It’s about how it was made, with the control panel being sensitive and how hard it is to adjust the burners. I called service and they said that’s just the way the stove is.
The latest issue I had was with the burner. It broke, so they had to order one for me. The burner is for a single and double, but when they replaced it, the knob that was put in was for a single, double, and triple. They can’t change it because they don’t make single and doubles anymore. So now, if I use the burner and turn the knob to triple, it’s single, and single doesn’t work. Double is double. It’s just messed up. It’s terrible. If I could, I would like to get a new stove and return this one.

I got an LG dishwasher, and recently it's malfunctioning. So getting a contractor there was not a problem. The first contractor that they sent out, they subcontracted it to another company, and they were terrible. They strung me along for over a month and never came back to repair it. I got back in touch with P.C. Richard and voiced my feelings. They sent out one of their own repair persons, and they came out this week, ordered the part, and are supposed to be coming back next week to finalize the repair. The shopping experience was nice. The staff is professional, and the warranty processes can be determined.

I have been with P.C. Richard & Son for 10 years and 12 months. I chose them because they’re reliable, but I’m a little disappointed because they won’t give me a replacement for my dryer. I also got an extended warranty.
I have had the dryer for six years, and it’s broken for the fourth time now. I’ve been sick, so I’ve been home for a while. They come over once a week. They’ve been here for the last four weeks. They just left me a message that they’re just ordering the part, and I’m still waiting.

The service was good with P.C. Richard. We submitted a claim because the water wasn’t being let out of the appliance. And so, I called them, and then they sent a technician the following week. I wasn’t there when he came, but I saw on the cameras that he came in, he was there on time, and then he fixed the problem right away. He seemed to be knowledgeable as to what was going on, and everything is back to normal now.

The people from P.C. Richard were very polite and professional. I have no complaints with them whatsoever. I had them come out for a service call. I have a Samsung refrigerator that seems to need a whole reconfiguring every few years, which I'm very disappointed in. It needed a new ice cube tray. They have to put sensors in the back. It just goes on. And I assume that when my insurance is up, that'll be the end of it, because it just seems to be happening more and more often.
Last time, they were here a year ago for my Samsung, and they're very terrific. I love the service of P.C. Richards, but I'm not sure about Samsung. They have never been good.

P.C. Richard was here on a service call most recently. We bought a 10-year warranty on our washing machine at the time of purchase in 2017, and when it leaked, they were able to come over and fix it in 20 minutes. It was great and super easy.
Consider shopping there. It’s good. We’ve purchased stuff from them before, though they don’t make the products and just sell them. I’ve used the website and it was easy. The store is a typical chain store with lots of stuff around, and they’re helpful. They’d ask what you’re looking for and help you find the right unit.

I would recommend P.C. Richard & Son. I’m a P.C. Richard fan now. I bought my TV from them and plan to get two air conditioners and have them installed. I was going to Best Buy at first and then decided to go back to P.C. Richard because I bought my washing machine there first. And I love my washer – It works perfectly and I have no problem with it.
I moved into a bigger apartment, so I needed the TV, a nice, big one for my living room. The customer service team was very nice when I walked in. They greeted me and knew what I was looking for. I showed them one TV, and they showed me a better brand. The price was decent. It was a Samsung TV and it’s beautiful.
The sales counselor was very nice and helpful. He recommended what kind of wall bracket I needed for a 75-inch TV. They came and installed it on the wall and they did a good job. It’s been up there now for three months and no problem.

P.C. Richard is the only place to buy appliances. I purchased a bunch of appliances through them, and my experience has always been great. I never had a problem with them. My experience with the sales counselor was positive. I love the guy. He was calm, professional, and accommodating. And they have great prices, but they could lower them even more.

I purchased a refrigerator, a stove, a dishwasher, and a washer-dryer through P.C. Richard. And the purchasing experience was pretty good. There was nothing exciting and nothing not exciting about the experience. The quality of the products is so-so. Everything is working, but I have issues with the washer and dryer. I bought the extended warranty on it. And they’ve been out five times, but it’s still not fixed. They can’t figure out what’s wrong with it.

I have no problem with P.C. Richard at all. I had an idea of what I needed to purchase, and it was convenient for me to go there and see what they had. The salespeople were very knowledgeable. They were very helpful, answering whatever questions I had, and P.C. Richard has the best price. I had a prompt delivery, and even the delivery people were very good.
I'm just patiently waiting for a part for my refrigerator. I had the gasket on the right side replaced in November, and it split again. This shouldn't happen at all, not for a $2800 refrigerator. I know they don't make it, but P.C. Richard should inform LG that they are manufacturing a faulty product.

I’ve dealt with a couple of sales reps and they’ve been great. I felt comfortable that I could trust whoever I dealt with, and deliveries were quick. I had an excellent experience.

Don't buy there. But if there’s no choice but to buy from them, don't pay for whatever warranty they offer. They did not respect the warranty we paid for. My husband has been buying all our electronic stuff from P.C. Richard since 1996 because his friend used to work there. But this time, I told him no more. I'm going to write to the Better Business Bureau about what they did to me.
We have a Samsung refrigerator where the ice maker never worked. They sent someone to fix it, but four months later, it broke again and spoiled the food. Even the service person said it was better to just replace it, but they kept saying they were ordering parts and no manager ever called back. After waiting with small children and losing food, we went to Home Depot and bought another refrigerator.

We went to a few stores. And we liked the products at P.C Richard. We liked their warranty at the time. The last appliances we purchased were from them. We got recommended by our contractor.
The interactions with their reps were very fine. We have a warranty with them for one of our older appliances that we bought a while ago. And they were great. They came and looked at it. They ordered the parts. The parts came. But since it was a bad part, they ordered the parts again. They came back when they said and they fixed it. And it's working fine.
We’re very satisfied with them. We had a good experience with them. And I would recommend them.

I normally get my electronics through P.C. Richard. We got a TV about two years ago and then a year ago, we got a washing machine and a refrigerator. I normally get good deals. I like their sales but their repair customer service is awful. Their techs are very unprofessional and they need better training. I like the outside guys they use better.
The guy that came out to repair my refrigerator was very unprofessional. He fixed it but he put the piece in wrong that they had to send out somebody else. They were supposed to head back out. He left me waiting and then they said that someone canceled the appointment on my behalf. I never canceled the appointment, so I don’t know who went and canceled it. I had to wait another couple of weeks to get the refrigerator repaired. But this time, they used the outside service so that works way better. I still recommend them though.

Our experience with P.C. Richard & Son was awful. In the beginning of the year 2024, I purchased a washer, dryer, and a stove from them. Everything was fine until the dryer. The dryer, from day one, everything is like digital now, so I thought it was me getting used to it, but the dryer was not drying properly. And I had three technician visits, and they were telling me that it was my vent. I had my handyman look at it and they were saying there was nothing wrong with the vent.
Just today, I had Stanley Steamer come and vacuumed out the vent. So, I’m in the testing mode now to see if the clothes are going to dry. If they don’t dry, then I know that P.C. Richard gave me a default in my dryer. And they were trying everything not to replace the dryer. It’s very time-consuming, very aggravating, and the whole nine yards.
P.C. Richard was saying that when they come, they just put the dryer in as they don’t do any installing. Once it comes on, they assume that it’s working, but it wasn’t working. The customer service team gave me the runaround. Also, every everything is digital, and I’m over 55, so digital becomes a problem. The price should have been a little bit more cost effective, too. Nevertheless, the other products are working fine.

I have purchased from P.C. Richard in the past so I was being a repeat customer. The first appliances that I purchased, I didn’t have problems with it and it worked. And then when it did go out, they gave me a gift card and replaced it.
I also purchased a dryer from them but it never worked since I got it. They’re not replacing it, saying that they’re coming to repair it. But techs have come in about five times and it’s still not working. It shouldn’t be getting this many repairs.
My experience with P.C. Richard was terrible and I wouldn’t advise somebody to buy anything from them. The customer service was good though. I had a guy a couple of times and he was really helpful.
But I got problems when I got to the technician level. He came and told me he doesn’t have time to listen to me and walked out. That’s unprofessional when I’m explaining that I have a problem. I was asking him if he could fix it but he told me no.
I also went to the website to purchase an item and that was bad too. The website didn’t work at all. As far as browsing, the website worked but when it came down to the purchase, it didn’t work. It kept declining my credit card. When I called, they told me they were having some type of issue with the online POS system so they had to send me a link. I had to click the link and pay for the product.

P.C. Richard & Son is in the neighborhood and they are closer to me than any of the other major appliance dealer so it is more convenient for me to go there. When you get into the building, the CSR will approach you and try to find out if they can help. If you say no, they leave you alone to browse.
If you do need help, you just call on one of them, and they come and assist. And then if you need something, they help you through till the end. The reps met my expectations and they knew the product. They were able to answer for the most part the questions that I may have had.
I got about three televisions and a couple of microwaves from them. The quality was fine but I had a recent issue with a microwave that I had a warranty on for five years and it stopped working. I had an issue with the time that it took them to come visit and get the situation resolved. But other than that, everything else has been fine.
I would recommend them. I would however say that if you’re gonna pay for the warranty, just make sure to read the fine print carefully and ask questions ahead of time. Make sure that the refund that you’re being given covers the product, even if the price of the product has changed. Meaning if you purchased model X and it goes bad, and model X has gone up in price, you should be able to receive a replacement without having to pay any difference in price .

P.C. Richard has a wide selection and availability of showrooms and stores.
Their salesperson was wonderful, and the customer service and delivery were good. But for the repair, they had to come three times to replace a light in my microwave. The first time, he said he needed two men to remove something from the lower part of the microwave.
And then the second time, he came with the second guy, and they had the wrong bulb. And when it was done the third time, it was good. The guys were terrific when they repaired it.
I would suggest that whoever is their foreman and has sent repair people out, they should check the appliance they're going to repair and make sure they have the right number of servicemen and the right equipment.

I’ve had a P.C. Richard & Son account for decades. I was a builder, and I’ve always used it for all the houses I built and commercial properties I worked on. In addition to that, I’ve used it at home for years. Cliff is my salesman that I always request because he’s always taking good care of me. He’s really good.
I had an appliance I bought years ago, and it went bad. Then they replaced it under warranty. That item has needed repair twice, so I’m not impressed with the product. I also wound up spending a lot of money out-of-pocket taking all my clothes to a laundromat because the part that came in was wrong. Then, we got a new reschedule, so it took months to be fixed, and that’s not right, especially when I’m paying for an extended guarantee.
The technicians and sales people were nice, but the scheduling and the delay on parts was really something that I would not recommend.

The service of P.C. Richard & Son has always been good, and their customer service was very helpful. Currently, I’m dealing with a warranty issue, and they really should send the same technician each time. I’ve seen five different technicians so far, and I still have a problem with my fridge.

P.C. Richard & Son is a well-organized appliance place, and my son had a very good experience with Brian in the Route 17 office in Paramus, New Jersey. He is also who I dealt with and he was wonderful. Before my refrigerator, I bought something else from them and they were always very nice in there.
I had the insurance on the refrigerator because the refrigerator that I had was about three years old. And it wasn’t freezing. So, I called Brian who sold me the appliance to me, and I told him what the circumstance was. He knew I had the extended warranty on it, so he got in touch with the insurance to try and get someone here to take a look at it. This was a Saturday and the earliest that they could come was a Monday to analyze the issue with the refrigerator.
A very nice technician came, and he explained everything. And he said that they will order the parts and they should come in within a day or so. That was fine except one part didn’t come in. They couldn’t get a technician to come in and install the part for almost another two weeks. I was without a refrigerator and I was very frustrated because it wasn’t an old refrigerator.
I told them I wasn’t happy and they sent me a gift card for my inconvenience. But I would have rather have had the people come in within that week, if possible, to have the parts put in. I am still happy with P.C. Richard, but I wasn’t happy with the time it took for them to come and put the parts in. I also bought a mattress a few years ago and I’m happy with it.
The salespeople there were very, very accommodating and I always deal with the one particular P.C. Richard office. They are very reputable and I had always a good experience. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was very cordial including the people who came here to fix it and the other tech who analyzed it friendly, and professional. Their product is good, too, and there is a lot to choose from. They don’t do a hard sell on you, and sometimes I simply like to go in and take a look.

We purchased a refrigerator, had it for two years, and it broke. P.C. Richard & Son has been great with following up with me and they plan on letting us go out and buy a new one. And so, I’m happy with that because it’s been an ongoing thing since December. They called me back today to let me know that they can’t fix it. Before, it was just the fan and they redid the fan. They tried, but it was obviously a lemon. Overall, they were excellent, excellent, I have to say.

When it became obvious and we realized he was not interested in providing us w/ the help we were asking for (they were closing in 8 mins), we asked for his name…. I'm very happy with P.C. Richard & Son. I have been purchasing from them for 30 years because I live close by and I like the people, and the service. Frank is the best salesperson. Last month, our refrigerator stopped working. A technician came, looked at it, and it needed a new compressor, so he replaced it. I have appliances which are 35 years old, and I’ve got newer appliances, and I always get extended warranty.

I've just had a couple of service calls with P.C. Richard over the last month. I had some issues with the appliances. And the interaction could not be better with the technicians. I bought the appliances four years ago. My salesperson was Richard in the Woodbridge location and he was excellent.
I have a dishwasher. We redid our kitchen four years ago. We did a whole suite. We got the black-silver refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, and microwave.
I personally think things are made to break. I think that's not only appliances. It's phones and t's everything. I don't think the quality is what it was 30 years ago, o I took out the five-year warranty. And I was glad I did because I have had issues with almost every appliance. Right now, I just had an issue with my refrigerator.
I have the he knock-knock door refrigerator where you can see inside. The door was not closing correctly. They had to replace the hinge. The first time they came, the technician said that they gave him the wrong part, so he had to reorder it and it was a little bit of a delay there. But it wasn't the technician's fault. And also, I'm replacing two drawers because the rollers broke on them. In fact, they're coming tomorrow to do that.
Getting service was actually pretty easy. I called their number. I think I selected the callback option because there was a line and they got back to me and we set up an appointment. And what I liked about it, they give me a heads-up phone call when they're on their way. I didn’t have to sit around and lose a day.

I've been buying from P.C Richard & Son for a long time. I trust that they stand behind their service warranty and their prices are very competitive.
Most recently, they serviced and repaired a refrigerator I purchased in 2019 that was still under warranty. They came out, fixed the issue, and everything is working properly now. I’m happy with the customer service and the quality of the repair.

I bought a refrigerator from them and immediately, the icemaker went bad. But it’s a common thing with that type of fridge. The tech came and he had a new one. He unplugged the fridge and put the other one in. It only took him 10 minutes. I have dealt with them for a long time and I will continue to do so.

I've used P.C. Richard for many years and they have a wonderful salesman there named George that I continue to use. He knows me and knows what type of things I'm looking for. He's always very pleasant and gets everything done. He also does a wonderful job helping me pick out appliances that I need. When I need something, I go on the website and I pick out what I want to purchase and call George for better or cheaper options. I don't have any problems with the website.
I have purchased all kinds of household kitchen appliances from them. I had to have a service person come one time and George arranged everything. I told him what happened and took care of it and everything got fixed. They came out and the appliance was still under manufacturer's warranty. The serviceman fixed it and it was wonderful. I would tell anyone that P.C. Richard is great and I always give George's name out to people.

I recommended P.C. Richard through my company for about a decade and I've been a customer for about 5 to 6 years personally. Mostly, I've purchased appliances. However, my experience with their service department has been disappointing. For instance, I had a technician come to diagnose my dishwasher six times, only for him to finally admit he wasn't trained on those models. Eventually, I was offered a credit for a new one, which was fine, but I specifically requested that the same technician not be sent to my home again.
Unfortunately, when my dryer went out, the same technician came despite my requests. He was unprofessional, causing property damage by breaking the exhaust pipe in two places, and handled my dryer with little care. Attempts to resolve these issues through customer service were frustrating. I was given vague responses, and it took a week before a supervisor contacted me. Their explanation was that the turnover was high, and the technician was the only one available for my area.
After a long discussion, the supervisor eventually offered a service credit for a new appliance, but the lack of empathy and follow-up from P.C. Richard has been disheartening. I've had a strong relationship with their sales team, but this experience has lost them 10 clients from my referrals because I can no longer recommend them with confidence. Also, their pricing is standard and the website, specifically the warranty portal, could be more user-friendly.

We have always bought from PC Richard and Son, whether it's air conditioners or other products, because they are local to us. Recently, I purchased an LG washing machine and am genuinely satisfied with it. The salesperson was a nice young man, and we had no complaints about the service.
The overall quality of products from PC Richard and Son is commendable. We did need a replacement part, a rubber gasket around the front door, which was covered by the warranty, so there was no charge. We've been dealing with them for a long time and are very satisfied with their service.

I have consistently had a positive experience with PC Richard & Son. I trust them because they offer good warranties, even extended ones. I've purchased a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher from them. My interaction with their sales staff was satisfactory.
Regarding customer service, I've dealt with them for repairs. They scheduled the repairs, which took a few days for the technician to arrive, but the work was done satisfactorily. If a part is needed, they handle it efficiently, whether they replace it immediately or return in a few days to install it once it arrives.
If asked by a friend or family member about my experience, I'd say it was great. I would rate my overall experience with PC Richard & Son with four stars, noting that faster response times for repairs could make it a five-star experience.
Their customer service quality, pricing, and sales marketing efforts are all worthy of four stars. I receive their emails regularly. I also find their website easy to use and would rate it a four as well.
Overall, I've had a good experience shopping with PC Richard & Son and would recommend them.

I recently had an unfortunate experience with PC Richard and Son. Initially, I chose them for my home appliances, including a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and washing machine, because they were known as one of the best appliance stores around, thanks to their competitive offerings at the time. However, my experience with them took a downturn about four months ago, owing to deteriorating customer service. The sales representatives were either unavailable or unhelpful, often directing me to find products myself without any assistance. This was especially challenging for me, as I have health issues that make it hard to move around the store without help.
I had issues with a washing machine I bought, which started making noise two months after purchase. Although PC Richard replaced it due to the warranty, the replacement also had problems. I learned that there was a special way to maintain these front-load washers, like using specific cleaning tablets, but this was not communicated at the time of sale. Despite following their advice, the issues persisted, and eventually, the warranty expired, leaving me to deal with a malfunctioning machine.
Additionally, my new refrigerator, purchased only a few months ago, failed to function correctly, leading to spoiled food. The response from their customer service was lackluster. They were slow to address the issue, and I was told to manage with makeshift solutions until repairs could be made. When service was finally arranged, it took a significant amount of time for a technician to be available. Even after escalating to a manager, who was able to expedite the service call, the overall experience was frustrating.
The failure of communication, long wait times for service, and lack of adequate compensation for the spoilage of food were very disappointing, especially since I expected better service from a reputed company like PC Richard and Son. In light of these experiences, I would rate my satisfaction with PC Richard and Son as a 2 out of 5.

I recently purchased new stove knobs through PC Richard because they originally sold the stove in my apartment, and I wanted the knobs to match perfectly. My experience with their customer service was excellent. The tech who delivered and installed the knobs was very polite, respectful, and did a great job. I recently had a service appointment with PC Richard and Son for my dryer, which needed repair. The technician who came was very friendly and professional and was only here for 15 minutes. He seemed to fix the vent issue quickly. However, I'm still experiencing problems as the dryer takes too long to dry clothes. I'll wait for a couple more laundry cycles to see if it's a persistent issue or if it was just due to a heavy load. Overall, the service was positive, but I might have to call them back if the problem continues.

My recent experience with PC Richard and Son involved a TV repair. Initially, they came to diagnose the issue with my TV, which was still under one year old. Unfortunately, I had to wait for about a week as they needed to order a part, and then another week for the repair process, which involved replacing the motherboard.
While the repair was completed, I'm not entirely satisfied with the outcome. Given the TV was less than a year old, I would have preferred a replacement instead of feeling like I now have a refurbished product. Although the repair technician did their job efficiently, the overall process left me disappointed.
If I were to rate my satisfaction, I would give it a 2 out of 5.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator from P.C. Richard & Son in 2021, and unfortunately, I’ve faced recurring issues with the ice maker. The service technician from P.C. Richard & Son is exceptional, and the service is excellent. He's always professional, ensuring everything is fixed promptly, though the design flaw in Samsung's ice maker is problematic. I've had to call for warranty work twice, and I suspect this is going the same way as a previous Samsung fridge I owned. Despite these product issues, P.C. Richard & Son’s customer service has been nothing short of excellent. They call before visits, and you can track the service truck, making interactions seamless. Overall, while Samsung products have let me down, P.C. Richard & Son have been a reliable appliance store for us. I'd recommend them wholeheartedly, giving them a full star rating for their service.

I ordered a laundry machine that was delivered yesterday. Despite the great experiences I have had speaking with in-store agents at the Steinway location, my delivery experience yesterday has left me done doing business with them for good. Two guys delivered the machine. Upon arrival, there was a dent towards the bottom of the machine [see pic]. I was under the impression that I would have the machine installed for free at the same time as the delivery. One of the guys assured me that the installation was an additional $120 and said that I could either call and schedule an installation for a later time or pay him $120, “off the record” via cash, Venmo, or Zelle, to have it installed then.
I was pretty sure I chose this particular machine because it came with free installation. When I picked up my phone and said I was going to call to verify, the guy said, “Nevermind, we don’t have hoses on us so you’ll have to call to schedule an installation at a later time anyway.” I was able to verify with a representative over the phone that I did indeed have free installation for this item. This guy’s sketchy attempt at a side-hustle threw me off. After the delivery guys left, I noticed they did not place the laundry machine all the way in the room, so it was blocking my bathroom door. “The Product Weight is 302 Lbs.” - over twice my own body weight. When I tried to move it, it wouldn’t budge. I have one bathroom in this apartment and as it was my Saturday, I had plans later that evening. Point blank, I needed my bathroom.
When I called for help they said there was nothing they could do about moving the machine until the scheduled delivery date, which was scheduled for 6 days later. They also had the audacity to say that the picture the delivery guy took looked like the machine was already placed all the way inside the room and when they spoke to him, he said my bathroom shouldn’t have been blocked. Undermining a claim I could so easily prove was nothing short of the unprofessionalism inculcated in this entire experience [see video].
While on the phone, I was told that the guys had already left and were en route back to the factory. Nothing could be done. I had to cancel my evening plans and spend the next 6 hours trying to find help. Thank God for Taskrabbit! I was finally able to get someone on Taskrabbit to come help me move the machine 13” back [see attached picture].
The customer service rep. did provide a $60 reimbursement from the company for the inconvenience of it all, but in my opinion that is nothing compared to the time it took for me to correct the negligence of the low grade worker this company is choosing to be represented by. Prior to the deliverer's arrival I was trying to place another order with P.C. Richard & Son for a T.V., another costly service. Thank God that did not go through! I took my services to BestBuy instead. Because of this experience, P.C. Richard & Son has lost a loyal customer. I will never purchase anything from them again and advise anyone who is scheduling a delivery service to think twice beforehand, and consider the possibility that whoever you get, might try to scam you.

Just order the washing machine. They called and said it would be delivered on a certain date. Never showed up. Never called them up. They come up with excuses and lying about damage and possible not picking up the order. PC Richard is one of the worst. Plus many times I've ordered and not learned my lesson. Things come damage, few years go by and I forget and do it again and learn my lesson again. I personally would not order or buy anything from PC Richard. Try other outlets.

Submitted my claim on time. Was never notified that there was an issue with the serial number. Now they are saying it’s too late for my claim to be processed. It’s obviously deliberate. They do it on purpose hoping people would go away and won’t complain. Disgusting.

I have been without a fridge for 1 week. Fridge has been serviced 5 times 3 by Samsung directly. Now PC & Richard and son send two technicians. First did not know what we had doing but made a report. I was send a second tech with knowledge of first one and still just look at fridge on a business day. No repairs but also agree fridge has too many issue and should be replace but still nothing. All my food- meat, milk, fruit in the garbage.
Fridge issues: Water leak inside and getting frozen - issue for more than a month. Evaporator may be bad. For years -Ice maker not working. No ice water was there - has been serviced by Samsung 3 times. (If you want tell him ice crusher does not crush ice) and still not working. Also fridge and freezer stop working temperature 70- no power issues, Compressor not working. Fan motor also stopped. But still I am not getting another fridge.
Now I have to wait to see if they can fix it and going to my second week with no fridge. Fridge purchase 2018 I paid a 10-year warranty, never bother them and they cannot just honor a replacement very upsetting and disappointment. Hoping some supervisor or someone will read this and contact me and help me. I need a fridge in working it or replace that is why you lose customers. I can be contact at **. Please stay away from this people, warranty feels like a scam.

I chose PC Richard and Son because their store is conveniently located in my neighborhood. I've purchased a few appliances from them, including a Samsung refrigerator and stove. While I'm satisfied with the refrigerator’s performance, the stove didn't meet my expectations. From the get-go, I've had problems. The surface began to tarnish faster than anticipated, which was disappointing, particularly considering the price and brand reputation. Additionally, I'm having an issue with one of the stove knobs, requiring me to call for service. Despite these setbacks, PC Richard and Son's service was commendable, as they dispatched a technician promptly. Overall, I’d rate my experience with PC Richard and Son favorably due to their responsive customer service. I don't have any issues with the store itself, just with the quality of one of the items I purchased. Both are stainless steel and the fridge is fine.

I have been a loyal customer of PC Richard and Son for more than 20 years, and my experiences with them have consistently been positive. Over the years, I have purchased several appliances, including a refrigerator, a stove, and dishwashers, primarily choosing brands like GE and Frigidaire.

I've been purchasing from PC Richard and Son for years, and my most recent purchase was a washing machine and dryer. I went to the store for this purchase and found their product selection to be wonderful, which is why I always choose to shop with them. The sales counselor was fine, and it tends to be a different person each time I visit.
As for the washer and dryer, they are working fine. I did have an issue with a Samsung refrigerator, which came with a 10-year warranty from the previous owner. The refrigerator needed extensive repairs three times over seven years and PC Richard and Son rectified the issues. Overall, I'm totally satisfied with my experience with PC Richard and Son.

Customer service department what a joke. My dryer went on fire. My entire house was filled with smoke. They sent the repair man that didn’t open The machine. He ordered new parts. A week later repair man comes with parts, open the machine, put the parts in the inside of the machine is all burnt because it had a fire, so he order more parts. I called customer service three times trying to get a supervisor all three times. They refused to put a supervisor on the phone. They’re sending another repairman back with more parts. I’ve been without a dryer for a month and the entire inside of my machine is all burnt from a fire, and they expect me to continue using this machine, Pc Richard customer department is a joke. I first heard about P.C. Richard & Son through a coworker who recommended them to me. I wasn't aware of the company until then. My purchasing experience with PC Richard and Son was good. The staff seemed knowledgeable and were quite helpful. Although it was a couple of years ago, I remember buying a few appliances from them, probably a refrigerator and a stove.
In terms of quality, I would say I'm satisfied with the items I got. Overall, I had a good experience shopping there. If I were to rate PC Richard and Son, I'd give them a 4. I’d definitely recommend them to friends or family, as it's a good store to shop at, and my experience was positive.

I recently had an experience with PC Richard and Son when my wife chose to buy a washer and dryer from them. She was responsible for the purchase and described the buying process as very satisfactory. We decided on the LG brand, although we didn't have a specific preference initially.
Unfortunately, we encountered issues with the washing machine—it needed replacement just after three weeks because it was noisy and didn't spin properly. Now, it's acting up again, so my wife plans to contact them to arrange for maintenance. Despite the product issues, she found contacting PC Richard and Son for service quite straightforward, and their response has been prompt.
If asked to rate PC Richard and Son, I would give them a 4 out of 5. I recognize they don't manufacture the products, so the service they provide is commendable; they respond quickly to service requests.

I recently renovated my house and chose PC Richard and Son for purchasing all of our appliances, including air conditioners, washers, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, and ranges. Since we had a good experience with them initially through my architect's connection, I decided to go back to them when it was time to furnish my apartment. I bought my entire TV entertainment center from them and am planning to purchase more items.
Additionally, some of the appliances were floor models, so I opted for a 5-year warranty. There were a few instances where I had to call customer service for repairs. From my experience, they were mostly very good and helpful.

I first heard about PC Richard and Son because my parents were always interested in buying their products. They used to buy from them in Yonkers. Over the years, I've purchased quite a few items from PC Richard, including dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, and TVs. Overall, I've generally been happy with their service and products, though I had a recent issue with my KitchenAid dishwasher, which was leaking water. They sent a repairman to check it out under the warranty, and he was very helpful.
Interacting with their customer support has mostly been a positive experience. When I had trouble with the dishwasher, they promptly arranged for someone to come look at it. They've always been accommodating and supportive.
I'd rate PC Richard and Son highly—a 5 out of 5. They stand by their products, and if there's an issue they're responsible for, they make sure to rectify it. For example, when my washing machine was wrongly installed, which resulted in a motor burn-out, they replaced it without any hassle.
Though I had a situation where I went to Lowe's because it was less expensive at the time, I still kept going back to PC Richard. I'm happy with them.

I've been a customer of PC Richard and Son for years. Initially, I equipped an entire apartment with their appliances, including a stove and refrigerator, about 15 years ago. More recently, five years back, I bought my house in Ronkonkoma and updated it with a new refrigerator, washing machine, and dryer from PC Richard and Son.
My experiences with their customer service have been very positive. The team is attentive and quick to respond. We faced some challenges with the washing machine and dryer combo, primarily due to the complexity of the technology and the need for frequent filter changes, which wasn't explained initially. Despite these hiccups, their techs visited us twice and resolved the issues effectively.
The installation team was pleasant and personable, though there was one incident involving delivery that wasn't as smooth since they were somewhat rude. But they were independent folks that did work for them. Other than that, overall, they have been good and attentive. They come in a timely fashion, too. My experience has been good and I'll keep doing business with P.C. Richard.

I've been a customer of PC Richard & Son for quite some time now, with my first purchase being a refrigerator about 2 years ago. My interaction with their salesperson was very positive; the representative was extremely helpful. I am fond of the fridge's bottom freezer design but I was a bit disappointed that the fridge needed repairs twice within two years. Fortunately, I had opted for insurance, which I rarely do, and it proved beneficial. Their service department was quite efficient. They scheduled my appointments promptly and arrived as expected. The repair technicians were courteous and performed their tasks effectively, addressing two separate issues without any further complications.
The price of the appliance seemed high, but given the long gap since my last purchase, it was understandable, hence a 4-star rating for pricing. Overall, I am very satisfied with PC Richard & Son, rating it a 5-star. Their service team was particularly pleasant, and given this experience, I would recommend them to others.

I am extremely disappointed with the delivery crew who came to deliver my washing machine and dryer. They were disrespectful, rude, and unprofessional throughout the entire process. When I politely asked why they were using a hand truck to take the dryer up the stairs instead of lifting it with straps, one of the guys responded in an extraordinarily rude and unprofessional manner. It’s basic decency: you don’t come into someone’s home and behave disrespectfully. That’s not how it works. This was an unacceptable experience, and I would not recommend this delivery service to anyone.

Two years ago, I purchased a range of appliances including a refrigerator, stove, microwave, heater for the living room, two TVs, and a washer and dryer, spending around $5000. I didn’t opt for an extended warranty at the time. Then, just a month ago, my refrigerator stopped cooling.
When I contacted PC Richard and Son, they informed me about a $200 service call fee since I hadn't purchased a warranty. Despite my disappointment, I agreed. The first service technician found ice buildup in the refrigerator’s tower and assured me this was normal, which didn’t sit well with me as it sounded quite unusual. After paying, two days later, the refrigerator was still not working.
I had to wait several more days for their next service visit. When they returned, I was told as a repeat service call, it would be free, but I needed to pay $200 for parts. I refused to pay since the previous attempts hadn’t resolved the issue. This led me to directly contact LG, the refrigerator manufacturer. LG informed me of their five-year parts warranty with PC Richard, meaning I shouldn’t have been charged for these parts. LG promptly sent out their technician who resolved the issue within minutes, at no charge.
Throughout this ordeal, PC Richard did not follow up as promised. Their lack of customer care left me disappointed, especially after being a loyal customer for years. The initial purchase experience was positive; however, this poor follow-up has left a sour taste, making me hesitant to recommend them ever again.

My experience with P.C. Richard & Son has been quite disappointing. I recently had an issue with a refrigerator that my landlord had a warranty with them for. One of their technicians replaced a part known as the "Halo" due to a defrost problem. He defrosted the fridge, but the issue persists. The refrigerator section still doesn’t cool, while the freezer works fine. As a result, my food is spoiling quickly—onions go bad within two days, and milk curdles fast.
On the bright side, my interactions with the sales and customer service teams were pleasant. They were helpful, but the resolution hasn’t been effective. I expressed my need for a functioning refrigerator due to my health condition, and while they mentioned the possibility of a loaner fridge, I haven’t received any follow-up on this.
All I want is a refrigerator that works properly to prevent food spoilage.

It's been a nightmare dealing with P.C. Richard & Son. My refrigerator stopped working before Halloween, leaving me with food spoilage issues for weeks. Despite having seven service visits, each technician misdiagnosed the issue or was unprepared with the correct parts. This lack of resolution dragged on for nearly two months.
Communication among the service team was severely lacking, as each new technician was unaware of previous assessments, requiring me to recount all prior service attempts. This disorganization added to my frustration. The customer service doesn't wanna talk to me about it. All they kept doing was scheduling another tech to come out. No one wanted to hear what I had to say. Eventually, I reached out to the store manager, who finally took steps toward addressing the situation by offering a replacement fridge. The model I originally purchased was no longer available, so I'm now in the process of selecting an alternative.
While I've been a loyal customer since 1992, having bought various appliances without issue until now, this experience has shaken my trust in their service. I would hesitate now to go back and buy something from them. I sincerely hope that the resolution promised by the store manager is fulfilled promptly.

I've been a customer of PC Richard and Son for years and usually have a good shopping experience with them. Over time, I've purchased several refrigerators and a dishwasher from them. The salespeople are consistently great, which is always appreciated. However, I've encountered problems with the refrigerators I've bought—not due to PC Richard and Son, but because of the manufacturers. These refrigerators seem to constantly break down.
PC Richard and Son's service is responsive; they come out to fix the issues and replace parts, but the problems often return. For instance, we've been dealing with problems with our Frigidaire refrigerator for the last couple of months, specifically with the ice dispenser. Technicians have been here about five times in two months. Despite these issues, I distinguish my dissatisfaction with the appliance's quality from my experience with PC Richard and Son's customer service, which remains positive. I recently had an excellent experience with PC Richard and Son. After ordering a new stove post-Veterans Day, I encountered an issue with one of the burners. They dispatched a repairman within two days, and he promptly fixed it. My past purchases from them, including a refrigerator, gas grill, and TV, have been hassle-free and backed by knowledgeable and helpful staff. The stove was on sale, which was beneficial since I hadn't purchased one in 17 years, leading to some sticker shock. However, the staff helped me find an induction stovetop, which was energy-efficient and suited my needs. I've consistently found the salespeople at PC Richard to be extremely knowledgeable, making shopping much easier, especially when you're unsure of what you need.

If there was an option to not select any stars, I would. I have been without a working refrigerator for 3 weeks now. I could not host Thanksgiving as I usually would as the technicians and customer service staff are completely incompetent. I called many times to have my issues taken care of and I hear is, "We will order the parts." Lo and behold, the right parts were not ordered and they sent a technician to the house to put in a new ice maker in a fridge that is inoperable. Does this make any sense?! I have taken off many days from work to be here for service and again I do not have a working appliance.
I also asked to speak with a Manager and the CSR puts me on hold and then hangs up on me. I bought a very expensive warranty for a reason and I am completely unsatisfied. I was also told that they could send me a loaner but that would take some time. I ask you, "where am I supposed to put this loaner, in my living room?!". I need someone to rectify this immediately and I will not take any other resolution then PC Richard will replace my fridge. This is crazy. You can rest assured that I will bring this to your corporate office as well and take legal action. Thank you.

THE BIGGEST disappointment ever... On Friday, 11/15, I got a delivery of a gas stove oven and a refrigerator by two men who DID NOT speak a word of English (I am an immigrant myself and am not racially biased.) I have neighbors who got appalled by what they had witnessed and will confirm. The delivery men could not comprehend the rules of our coop development (delivery through the basement only, covering the item with a cardboard paper to prevent from possible damage of the unit or the hallway walls, THEY COULD NOT SPEAK!!!)
As a result, they left a dent on the front panel of the refrigerator, scratched the entrance to the apartment and the kitchen (have pictures). The refrigerator is sliding back and forth from the niche and makes noise. I have contacted the store management who promised a replacement on 11/22. My complaint is against delivery company - their manager, Manuel, failed to answer my questions. His response was, "What do you want, no one wants to do this job." ???? IT IS NOT MY BUSINESS!!! I paid money and purchased 8-year warranty for each item, and the store was very happy to get this big money from me. No one takes pride in their job anymore... Who can help me before I extend this complaint to the CFPB level?

PC Richards Knowingly sold me BOSCH Appliances (wall oven and dishwasher) that completely rusted in less then 3 years and will do nothing to solve the problem even though i paid for 8 year warranty. I searched on the internet and found 100's of similar complaints of Rust on BOSCH appliances, yet they continue to sell this defective product to their customers. SHAME ON PC RICHARDS.

The buying of the appliances went off without a hitch. MO from the Paramus store was great. My issue is the extended warranty that is leaving me without a refrigerator for weeks. Nice to have the warranty but not worth it if it takes forever to get an appointment and repair.

I ordered a pair of Apple AirPods Pro 2, but the box arrived already opened, looking either refurbished or previously returned by another customer. This was meant to be a gift, so it was embarrassing to receive it in this condition. The box itself looks worn, which likely explains why the seal was already broken.

I bought a refrigerator, a stove, a microwave, and an air fryer. This year, I bought an AC unit. I live in New York City and there are not too much large companies for electric appliances, but P.C. Richard has a lot of selection. The reps are really friendly and the price is good too. Before I go to the store, I usually research online and check the price. When I purchased the AC unit, it was cheaper than online. I like that the delivery is good and I also like the insurance they have. Some technicians are not that good though. One of them lied to me, but eventually they fixed it so that's okay.

The rep from P.C. Richard was very professional. Everything went well. I like the availability and that the rep really knows the product that he was selling. He was very helpful. I called the customer service because, at the time I ordered, the machine was not there. They didn't have it yet in stock. They had to order it. They told me that I will have to wait for a while. And when they were ready to deliver it, they did deliver, but the setting was not proper. There was some plumber we needed before they could install the machine. So, they had to go back with the equipment until I found a plumber who will fix the place, and then I called again for them to come and deliver.
I would have loved to have the price lowered. But otherwise, it's good. The machine works. It's very helpful. The issue that I have is because of the type of equipment I bought. It comes like that. I would have preferred something that dries faster rather than having a machine that you start at 12:00 and it won't stop until maybe 10:00PM. It takes a very long time. If I didn't have that combo and I had the regular machine that is in the laundromat, it wouldn't be like that.

Richard is also very reliable and they try to get people in for repairs. I purchased a Samsung washer and dryer and it's really a bad product. It has nothing to do with P.C. Richard though. The Samsung washing machine specifically is one of the worst washers I've ever had in my life, and I'm not the only one that says it. The technician always tells me the many problems with this machine. I got a warranty on the washing machine and they're constantly here for the repairs.
At one point, P.C. Richard went with a substitute company for repairs around when COVID was and the company was horrible. It was called Dependable Service and it was so bad that I told them that we always deal with the P.C. Richard technicians. I would never, ever deal with another company like that. On the other hand, P.C. Richard is really a great 5-star company.

I went to visit P.C. Richard to check purchases and found that they had everything I needed. The fridge and the dishwasher were broken and I decided to replace them. The sales rep was informative and very helpful. He showed me a couple of choices and what the latest model was. He double-checked to make sure it would fit. I appreciated his professional service and the price was pretty much what I was hoping to spend. I was glad I bought from P.C. Richard rather than from a big box store or any place else.

I bought a new fridge from PC Richard and had an issue with it. When they came, they put the fridge but one door was higher than the other. They came twice and fixed it. This time, my 1-yr old oven hasn't been working for over three months. It's locked, and I do not know how it's locked. The technician came three times but they could not fix it. I told PC Richard maybe they should send a replacement but they've given me a hard time. On Monday, they said two technicians have to come. They want to fix it. But it's been over three months which is a long time for a customer to wait to use their appliance. It's very frustrating. This might be my last business with them. I've purchased most of my appliances from them and this time I'm having so much issues, but they're not trying their best to solve it.

The item that P.C. Richard & Son sent wasn’t good because the day they delivered it, it was broken. P.C. Richard had to come in, pick it up and bring another one. One week and some days after, they brought another one. That one didn’t work again after a few weeks. P.C. Richard had to send somebody and somebody came in after one week. I had to throw away most of the things that I had. I cannot put them in the little fridge. P.C. Richard came and fixed it but I don’t know if it would work all the way. Also, I bought a brand-new fridge. But when they came, they replaced it with a floor sample. The paper that they gave me says so. They're supposed to give me a brand-new fridge. Floor samples can be there for a long time and used for events. At least P.C. Richard came and changed the fridge.

P.C. Richard has very reasonable prices. I've bought a washer and dryer, a stove and a dishwasher, and they're good. However, when I needed repairs on my machines, it was long and drawn out, and they have to come back. They also didn't give me the right lint catcher for my dryer. Overall, I've had a good experience with P.C. Richard, and I'm happy with it.

We bought the refrigerator, a washer, and dryer. It was a good experience. Initially, the water wouldn't come out. We had to call P.C. Richard & Son back. The tech tested to see if our water was on, but it wasn't. And the hose had a hole in it. It was an old hose, not the hose that came with the refrigerator. Prior to him leaving, I asked him to make sure that the water was turned off because we weren't in the house yet. He said it was, but he didn't fully close the water. The next day, when I came here to look at the house, the basement had water in it. But besides that, everything was okay.

P.C. Richard is close by, and they always work with my delivery. When I go there, they're always welcoming me. They always help me out and give me good information. So far, I've gotten a couple of things from them and their products are really good. I've never had a problem until now with the washer. I have it for a while now, and it's still under warranty. What I like about their warranty is it’s top-notch. I've gone to other places where I bought stuff and they sell the warranty for a third party, but they're not easy to get ahold of. I thought I was gonna have that problem with P.C. Richard, but I didn't at all. They came out and tried to get it squared away. They're gonna come back on Wednesday.
The website is very easy to go around and it's always quick whenever I have to contact customer service. I'm one who doesn't like to be a robot, pushing buttons. They have a few buttons, but it's not excessive and at least I can talk to a human person. Another thing I like about their sales reps is they don't just push one product. They show me what they have then I would decide whatever I want. I'd like for P.C. Richard to keep up the good work and continue to do what they do best. Things are tough out there, so things are super expensive everywhere, but they're very competitive with others. When I checked the dryer out at other places, their prices are similar.

Most recently, we had a gasket put into the refrigerator after some back and forth. P.C. Richard contracted out with some company who told us P.C. Richard doesn't do this kind of work. They have to contract out. When the first guy came in here, he was rude. We called them up and told them not to send him back but he showed up again. They couldn't get the part then they got the wrong part. Considering the refrigerator wasn't even a year old, I was surprised they couldn't get a part. We finally resolved it three weeks ago and the guys who installed were P.C. Richard workers. I always tell them I don't want anybody else coming into this house, only P.C. Richard.

The reason I chose P.C. Richard and Son this last time is I have 18 to 24 months to pay for my purchase before I start paying interest. I haven’t had to pay a bunch of interest. My dryer is about to go on me. That was the biggest thing to me. The first time, I wanted to just go into the store, and each time. The last time I went to a store with my daughter, when I purchased the lounge chair, was four years ago. August, I went into the store with my son-in-law. The salesperson that my son-in-law deals with there called and made sure he was in. We went in when he was there, and we dealt with him. He was good. The mattress is not as comfortable as the first was, but it's okay.

We had a refrigerator that we had for quite a while and it just died. So, we needed a new one. My father decided to get a replacement from P.C. Richard and we just needed something that was functioning. However, the panel had a glitch in it, and the part was replaced. A young man came by at 7:30 in the morning, and he was excellent. I was on my way to leave for work, but he was so quick that he was able to do the changeout.
At first, I wasn't sure what I had to do and the process. When I went to the location in Carteret and walked in looking for some help, the front desk people were very helpful. They tried to schedule me an appointment on the site, but there was something was wrong with the site and they didn't wanna have me wait. They said, "Here's a number that you should call. Just call it in and then schedule yourself,” which is very simple.
I was given the right information to set up an appointment. It was organized and the staff was knowledgeable. They knew what they were doing, and someone picked up the phone. A lot of businesses don't do that. They send people to a site or they just don't speak to anybody and they end up having a problem. There's no solution. All in all, P.C. Richard is very good and reputable. I'd highly recommend it to friends and family. We had a very good experience, and we're very happy.

After Sandy, I had to buy all new appliances and I was treated fairly at P.C. Richard & Son. That's why I went back. The rep knows me, so he was like a friend. My refrigerator crapped out. P.C. Richard took two weeks to send a repairman. But the repairman was nice enough. He said that there was a shortage of repairmen.

I purchased a washer, dryer, and stove a couple of months back from P.C. Richard & Son. I purchased extended warranty with it. I've called P.C. Richard out several times regarding my refrigerator, especially this past year. My refrigerator wouldn’t close. P.C. Richard came out three times. They put some type of rubber thing around the door so it would close. Back in July, there were puddles of water in the refrigerator. And I could see the water dripping. I called P.C. Richard. They sent someone out. The guy came, opened my refrigerator and said, “You're blocking all the vents. That's what the problem is.” He didn't move anything.
When he was here, I rearranged everything. Same thing. Vents are open now. There's nothing blocking anything. Still, water. I'm losing food because my food is freezing. I have a lot of fruits and vegetables I keep in my fridge. A lot of my stuff froze. In the meantime, I called LG just to make sure my settings are correct. They said, “Put the refrigerator on 37.” That is what I have it now. Food still freezes.
P.C. Richard sent someone out. The guy said, “You need a sensor and you need some other stuff. I'm gonna order it.” The guy came a week or two ago. He said, “No. You don't need sensors. It's the door.” Whatever they put on my door the first time, that's what it needs. I'm losing food over the past month. I have to go food shopping. I thought, “The problem is gonna get fixed.” But this has been going on for months. I lost a lot of food. I spend at least $300 a week in food, and mostly fruits and vegetables. I lost a lot of money.
I called last week for a manager to call back. A manager called. I tried to call him back. Nothing. No return call. I told the guy that took the call at the call center, “I want a new refrigerator, because how many times are you gonna come out? And how many times am I gonna get a different story?” “Well, this is what's wrong with it.” “No. That's not what's wrong with it.” The way the economy is now, I can't afford to keep going to the store. They just need to replace it. Because who the heck knows what's wrong with it?
I got a different story every time somebody came. Am I just an experiment and we have been trying to figure out what is wrong with it? I don't know. But I don't want this. I want a new one. I have to extend the warranty. How many times do they come out before they replace it? P.C. Richard's customer service rep tried to offer me $100 for all the trouble I had with them. “Let's not replace your food. Let's give you something, try to make up.” I'm very dissatisfied. I would never recommend them.

P.C. Richard & Son has good service. My refrigerator has been acting up so they came over twice for service. They worked on repairing it. I scheduled on the website. It was easy. They have a self scheduling. But they were busy. I couldn't get an appointment for 10 to 14 days. My refrigerator wasn't getting cold enough, but it still works. I was able to still use it. And I had a mini fridge. But if the refrigerator got completely conked out, it would have been more of a problem. If I had to wait over a week and I have no refrigerator, that can be an issue. I'm still not 100% sure if it's fixed. The fridge compartment still doesn't seem to be cold enough. I'm still working on it with this fridge, if it will finally be repaired to my satisfaction or if I might have to see if P.C. Richard & Son will give me credit and I would buy another one if it's not able to be fixed completely. But they stood behind it. Also, they were always kind when I called.

The old stove was old, wasn't working right and couldn't be repaired. So, we needed a new one. The reps from P.C. Richard were very friendly and nice. They showed us several and what options we had with the stove and we talked it over. We liked the particular one we bought and we're still very happy with it. They were very professional and truthful. They said they were gonna be at a certain time and get something done. They came and in 15 minutes, everything was done.

My family has dealt with P.C. Richard's for over 40 years and I’ve never had a problem with them ever. The customer service is very effective, customer conscious, answered every question and gave more information we wanted. So, it was very positive. We’ve purchased televisions, refrigerators and a washer and dryer. All our appliances are from there.
One of the most recent purchases was the Samsung refrigerator and the ice cube maker keeps freezing inside the refrigerator and causes a leakage. I've only had the refrigerator since 2017 and we've had three calls already for P.C. Richard's to replace the entire unit in the back of the refrigerator. So, that is still up. I'm still under warranty so, they come out and repair it. But this is a known problem with this refrigerator as well as the make of this model. Once my warranty is up and this happens again, I shouldn’t have to pay for repairs when I've been getting the repairs for the same issue. So, before the warranty is up, I will call them again. Maybe we can swap it out and I can get a newer one.

P.C. Richard is close to where I live and they have repair people to back up what they sell. The sales person, Abraham, who we've dealt with for other things is very helpful. When we go, we make sure that we’re dealing with him. He's been very competent. The customer service experience was very positive.

I purchased a very expensive but defective 75-inch television. I needed to bring it back and replace it the same day of purchase, and now less than a year later it is completely inoperable. I called the store and the only option they offered was to send someone to my house 5 days later to confirm the inoperability (then I assume wait for more time-consuming steps to replace it). When I expressed my frustration, I was rudely dismissed and told to contact corporate. I contacted corporate who only confirmed the appointment and told me that was the extent of their job and referred me back to the rude store employee. While on the phone, I requested to file a complaint with corporate against the rude store employee (Stephen) and after 40 minutes on the phone was told "since most people were on lunch" it would get done later and I could expect an email in about an hour - which I never received so I assume was never inputted.
On Tuesday October 15, 2024 I was told the P.C. Richard's representative would be at my house between the hours of 3pm and 6pm to assess the television. At approximately 11am I received a direct phone call from said representative stating he was "done" working by 330pm and he was "waiting on this" to finish his day. I explained that the appointment was scheduled between 3pm and 6 pm, which wasn't ideal but arrangements had since been made because both my wife and I work full time (to pay for things such as $1000 televisions) and for the third time was met with disrespectful and despicable customer service.
The employee was obviously bothered, made clear by his deep sighs- which seems to be what is universally taught at P.C. Richard's customer service training. The item I purchased was not cheap so to not only have to be burdened with the inconvenience of it being defective, but to also be met with the worst customer service time and time... And time again is infuriating. This company should not be in the business of dealing with people.

I always buy my appliances from P.C. Richard. Their customer service has been excellent and very helpful. Recently, the repair guy did what he could do. They're not allowed to touch dryer vents, so it was not his fault. But he told me what to do and he tried to help. He stuck his hand up there and pulled out something that was clogging it. My problem is when I first purchased the dryer a couple of years ago, they installed the dryer vents improperly. That's why I'm having a problem now and that's why I had to spend $800 with the dryer vent guy to fix their problem. So, I'm not happy with their installation. But other than that, I also had P.C. Richard out for the washer because it was under warranty and they fixed it.

I bought a dryer and a dishwasher from P.C. Richard & Son and they were great to work with. I had my dryer fixed about a week ago and their customer service reps helped me with the appointment. Then a guy came out to look at the dryer and he was very thorough. He came to see what part was needed and the part came in within two days, which was a good timeframe. Then I called to schedule for the guy to come back to install it and everything was done in a timely basis. P.C. Richard was responsive and they showed up when they were supposed to. I would consider using them for my next purchase. But the Samsung dryer is not like my prior dryer. Things are getting a little bit cheaply made but that's more of an issue with the manufacturer than P.C. Richard.

I purchased a Whirlpool washer in 2021. I purchased an additional, extended warranty as well. Earlier this month, I called the PC Richard service dept because the washer was loud and rocking during the spin cycle, and the clothes were still wet when the cycle finished. They sent out a repair man later that week who informed me the drum had to be replaced and the part had to be ordered. I had to wait several weeks for the part to arrive and then scheduled another service appointment to have it installed. I was given a 4 hr window in which the repairman would arrive. On the installation date, (I took the morning off to wait for repairman) nobody showed up. I called the service dept and dispatch said they couldn't get to me for several more hrs.
I had to reschedule at that point because I had to get back to work. They scheduled a new appointmemt for 1 week out. On the next installation date, repairmen arrived with part but while installing it, they broke another, different part and had to order that part. They said they would be back 3 days later to replace. The following day, I received a call that the part did not get shipped out so I had to wait another 3 days. The repair service has been beyond unacceptable, and this is the service I am receiving after having purchased the extra warranty. I still don't have a working washer, have been having to pay to do laundry at laundrymats, and have no confidence that my washer will ever be fixed.

This time I took the risk of purchasing a bed, I had the pleasure of meeting the most wonderful sales person Marc in Union New Jersey. Poor customer service experienced with dishwasher. Wide installation window had me waiting all morning on a weekend and then unit arrived damaged. Customer service was indifferent and begrudgingly replied to my time requests to reschedule. Follow-up contacts with customer service were also met with indifference. Unit was eventually installed without issues but the customer service leaves much to be desired.

I have done business with P C Richard’s for years. Now I’ve learned a valuable lesson.NEVER to buy from this company again. Service is bad. I had a technician come out to look at this appliance. Mind you when I called on this product they knew what kind it was and what the problem was. I was charged over two hundred dollars and the technician told me he would need another technician to help him. He also asked me what the problem was like I’m a technician. He knew what was wrong with it from the phone conversation I had with the service dept. I’m done with PC Richard’s. NEVER again..

PC Richards is a scam with the return policy. The deliver man open the box of the TV and I did not give them a signature. They stated the box is opened/signed and this is the non returnable policy. The delivery man emailed me the photo of the open box and the person in the building signed for the item. Within 24 hours I requested a refund/return of the TV. The amount is $2393.06. PC Richards refused the refund/request. PC Richards will refuse the dispute with your credit card. Please go to Best Buy or any other major electronic company with fair policies. Do not buy from PC Richards! Customer service on the phone will deny any type of refund request for any expensive items. Do not risk it.

Unfortunately management and staff at the Union, NJ location have caused the greatest upset along with mental and physical stress to my parents health who are elderly. July 1, 2024, my parents purchased a Premier stove from P.C. Richard and Son in Union, NJ. August 10, 2024 P.C. delivered a damaged stove to my parents' home after a 5-6 weeks waiting period (the stove came from Wisconsin). The stove was severely damaged and PC Richard's store manager asked if we would want to keep the stove and credit us $50.00. This was a huge insult to us (photos attached). The driver took the stove back to the warehouse and placed a new stove on a backorder.
On August 12, 2024, I had to visit the Union, NJ appliance store in person due to the run-around and quick dismissal of unresolved responses from the staff/management in which my father had received. After having a firm conversation with the manufacturer Premier, Premier was able to track down a new stove from their Kentucky warehouse and send it via freight to P.C. Richards warehouse, however Premier was waiting for the P.O. # from P.C. Richards.
August 13, 2024 Premier spoke with sales rep from P.C. Richard and still no P.O. #. At this time, I spoke with P.C. Richard store manager again and he informed me he's waiting for the P.O. # to come from your Corporate location. I asked him to take some initiative and contact the POC in the Corporate office so that Premier can receive the P.O. # for shipment. I did not want to wait another 6 weeks to receive a stove that came damaged from P.C. Richard warehouse. Finally, P.O. # received and the new Premier stove was shipped out on August 30, 2024from Premier's Kentucky warehouse arriving at P.C. Richard warehouse on September 3, 2024.
September 10, 2024 P.C. Richard's delivery truck arrived at my parents home. UNFORTUNATELY, they did not have a stove on the truck. Instead, P.C. Richards sent a refrigerator in which we did not order! My father asked about his stove and the driver informed us the stove was damaged located at their warehouse. This has caused the greatest upset to my parents and I. This location is horrible! We still do not have a replacement stove as of today!

Have been waiting for a refrigerator since August 20 to be delivered. That didn’t happen because a salesman I wasn’t working with changed the delivery to August 30. Mind you I had to take the day off and lose a lot of money, I had to make the call to find out when delivery on the 20 to find out on the day it had been changed. Now delivery is for today 9/10 between 1045 and 145 and they are still not here. Was told by store manager they there are two stops before me at 345 so I’m still way past 4 and not a happy camper. So again could have worked and lost a lot of money and all I got was an "I’m sorry" and that he will talk to a few people when they get back. Never had trouble with any other companies. They are horrible.

We have been without a washing machine for over a month, and that's with the extended warranty. PC Richards' service company, Dan Marc Appliances is awful. You can see their reviews on Yelp. Find out who will be handling your warranty before purchasing an item from here. I know Home Depot uses competent companies. Finally, we received a credit for a new washing machine and had a delivery scheduled for today, with a confirmation delivery email last night, and no one ever showed up!!! The Raritan, NJ store claims that we called yesterday and cancelled the delivery and rescheduled it for the 10th because we were out of town. That never happened!!! Be very careful before purchasing from this company. We have spent thousands on appliances, electronics, Tempur-Pedic bed/bedding, and when a problem arises, there's no urgency to fix it. I will not spend another dime at PC Richards ever again!!

I bought a washing machine from PC Richard in March of 2022. While making the purchase I was treated well. I bought a Samsung washing machine $829 and the warranty for 8 years for an additional $349 dollars. WHAT A SCAM. THEY DO NOT honor their end of the bargain and guess what there's nothing you can do about it but pay a lawyer who is willing to start litigation against the company. I have been waiting since 8/09/24 to have my machine fixed. I have been given every excuse and rebuttal they have available. When I was going to get the machine fixed the original visit, I was called and asked should the repairman order parts, to which I said I don't know I don't know about washing machines, he came after this call and did nothing. He said he will be back in one week, he came the following week as promised, with the part he claimed he needed and then told me to buy a new machine which was not ok.
He left, told pc Richard we had rats, we don't have rats. we did call an exterminator. I sent proof of the visit the same day they have asked. They have told me they need to order parts more than seven times, that they had overbooked me that the repair man isn't picking up, that he is stuck on another machine, they also said that now again they need to order parts, they have also told me that I never had an appointment that it's a glitch in the system, they have told me that I need an exterminator about 6 different times or 8 different times and again we did call an exterminator. We did send proof. Basically I am out of my money and my washing machine and nothing is being done about it by the company. Go somewhere else for your expensive things. They don't care about the customers once they got your money.

PC Richard’s has the worst service department!! I have a 10 yr contract on a washer/dryer combo. Must keep entire day of service call open until after business hrs the night before when they call to give you 4 hr window. I’ve had an issue for 4 months now and they haven’t fixed my machine. First guy couldn’t find an issue but told him clothes weren’t drying. Second guy ordered parts and never showed up on call day. They said he came but I wasn’t home (lie). I actually waited 6 hrs for him to show. You can’t reach anybody after business hrs to find out where technician is. They sent the parts back not waiting to reschedule and I had to wait another couple of weeks for parts and appointment. I waited several hours after 2 of the appointments 4 hr windows for technician. Finally installed parts about 3 weeks later and still didn’t work.
Tech came back and said he was ordering another part but 2 1/2 weeks later when I call to see where we’re at with the part I find out it was never ordered. I am so frustrated. Just can’t believe this situation. They offered me a $50 gift card in June and I told them I didn’t want it because I’d never buy another thing from them. They offered a trade-in and now offered a new machine but no warranty. I will lose 3 yrs. of a much needed warranty I paid for. My experience has been horrible!!

I've known P.C. Richard since I was a little kid, and over the years, we've bought washing machines, a dryer, and our whole kitchen, including a dishwasher and a microwave. We also bought an LG refrigerator. We have cabinets, so we needed a specific, unordinary refrigerator. It had to be one that was smaller in height than usual. Best Buy had that type of refrigerator and size, but it was too expensive.
We usually go to P.C. Richard when they have those sales. They do that twice a year. We found that they carried the LG refrigerator that we needed in size, and they bundled it up for us. It was cheaper than Best Buy at the time. I didn't wanna be sold, so prior to going there, I did my own homework, then I asked them the same questions to see what they would say. I do that with everybody, and the salesperson from P.C. Richard was very helpful. He explained the different units that I was looking to get, and my questions were answered great and honestly. I recommended the same salesperson to other people. We had an issue with the refrigerator, but other than that, the quality of the products has been great.

I had a contract with my refrigerator but I never was able to get it fixed so P.C. Richard gave me the full price back on it. They gave me the opportunity to get a new refrigerator instead of keeping on fixing that other one. But the first refrigerator that was delivered to me was dented. It's not P.C. Richard's fault, but I'm surprised that they don't inspect it before they truck it out. But the second one was fine.

The rep was amazing. He was there when I needed him. Any time I had questions, I could call back and he would answer my questions. He was very responsive. I've used P.C. Richard in the past and I like their longevity. They've been in business for many years and their warranties are very good. I had to use P.C. Richard & Son two times. The first time, it was to change the rubber around the door of the fridge because it was damaged. The door wasn't closing well. But they changed it. The second time, because another part underneath the fridge broke and it was a hard piece. So, I don't know what it was. And they said they would change it. But when the tech came, it was the same rubber part again. I said, "But how could it be the rubber again when not even two months that it was changed?"
The person explained because it was the same thing just at the bottom of the rubber, the inside of that hard piece that broke. I didn't know. That was why he had to change the whole thing again. I was surprised because it was not even two months that it was changed and it broke again. I wasn't pleased about that because why did it break so quick? And they changed it.
The guy did a good job. He said he pushed the door up because it was too low and he fixed it. Everything is good now. The person was very nice that did whatever he was supposed to do. But I still feel the door is not tight enough for me. When it sticks to the other side, I know it's closed tight. But I didn't feel that on my fridge.
The things in my fridge for more than a month were spoiling. I had to throw the milk out. There was hot air going in, but I didn't know what it was. I thought I had to change the number in the fridge, but it wasn't that. It was because there was hot air going in the fridge because it needed to be fixed. I have no problem with P.C. Richard & Son besides that.

I just purchased a Kitchenaid dishwasher from the PC Richard's Southampton store. The transaction went fine and within a week delivery arrived and this was when the experience went very wrong. I actually had to tell the key man "P" from the delivery comp Not to Spit on my walkway. After being disrespected 10 mins later & not installed I spoke to Tess at the Southampton and she singlehandedly saved the sale. We are quick to complain but I must call out her exemplary customer service. Tess listened objectively and within hrs had resolved w/ her manager's approval of my dissatisfaction. It is for this reason I will return to PC Richard's. The 2nd installers Carlos & Joey could not have been nicer or more efficient. And p.s. the Kitchenaid continues to make a solid product.

I've always driven by the P.C. Richard & Son location over the years. When I needed to make purchases for appliances, I'd go there to price them. My purchase experiences were pleasant. All the associates were very helpful and made the process easy. I purchased a refrigerator and a stove. These are two separate purchases. The appliances are still running. So, that's good. If someone I know needed to purchase appliances, I would recommend them to go to P.C. Richard.

We consequently had to buy two refrigerators. We went to the dent and scratch sale that they have. But we were missing a piece on each refrigerator. It was nothing major, but once we let P.C. Richard know, it was in the mail the next day. I've had the refrigerator for a few years and I had to have it serviced recently. They had to order the part, so they gave us a loaner refrigerator-freezer that we wouldn't have to worry about losing food. Everything they said from delivery on was great.
The scratch and dent salesman let us walk around and in the store, the reps were more approaching me saying, “How may I help you? What are you looking for?” Even if I said, “I'm not really quite sure yet,” they would say, “Okay. I'm over here.” But I was greeted within two minutes or less. The refrigerator was considered used and they gave us an amazing price on it.
I have referred a couple of people to P.C. Richard. I told them, “You may be paying a little bit more. But when you call for service, they have their own technicians. You're not getting somebody that's not from their company who may or may not know the product.” The technicians were here within a day or two. You can't get service like that. I've had a dryer repaired years ago from a company that was local. It was over a week before they could come out and even look at it, let alone have the parts. But with P.C. Richard, my refrigerator was looked at within 24 to 48 hours. He had to order the part. He had a plan B as to how we can solve my problem and keep my things. It was very smooth. Their price was a little bit higher than what I would wanna spend, but you get what you pay for.

Most of my appliances are through P.C. Richard. The sales reps are always very fair and helpful. We've bought several items at once, and they've tried to work with us to give us a better deal. In the past they've been sufficient with getting the job done and not having a mix-up. I've had issues with my washer and got a new one. However, I've had things from them that needed to be repaired, and I got a runaround. You call the store and they tell you one thing and give you a number to call. You call them and they say the driver will be there through this time. The driver comes and tells you they're gonna get a part and they'll be right back but they don't return. It's a month later that I'm getting serviced and with no warning.
I had a refrigerator issue recently. It was something simple. The repairman told me, “I'll be right back. I need to get the part.” But he never came back. I had to call the store and find out what happened when they were the ones that set up the appointment. I was given a number for their repair department because then I was told they couldn't handle that. I had to go to their third party that they outsourced which I wasn't told before. The sales in the new Hyde Park store gave me the original appointment. At the end of the day, it was fixed, but it was an inconvenience. For a $6,000 refrigerator, I shouldn't have to wait a month for it to be repaired.

We purchased from P.C. Richard & Son because of the warranties. If I have a problem, I would call them up and they would send somebody, although sometimes it takes a little longer. None of the burners were working on the electric stove and they came, took the panel, and got it all set. But then they found it was the wrong part so it only did half the stove. I had to call them back and they had to order another part. It was a little aggravating. At that point, I was gonna tell them to take it out and give me a brand-new stove because it was brand new. But they were able to get the original one fixed.

I worked with Henry and he was the best. He knows how to talk to people. He takes his time. He explains things to you. When you ask him a question, he takes his time. So, he's good. Every time, the customer service is good. They can help you to make sure you buy what you wanna buy.

I've bought all my appliances from P.C. Richard over the years and I never had a problem with them. As soon as you walk through the door, the salesmen are right on you to help you out. But the products that you get are all made of plastic. They all break down, which was why I purchased the contracts on them. I had to call P.C. Richard a number of times to respond and they did. They repaired whatever had to be repaired or replaced whatever had to be replaced. You call the 1-800 number that they provide and tell them the problem. The technician comes, driving a P.C. Richard truck and analyzes the problem. If they have the parts on the truck, they repair it. If not, they come back with the part usually within a few days. I recommended P.C. Richard to a number of family and friends.

P.C. Richard has the best prices. We had to change out all our appliances and we’ve bought a refrigerator, washer, dryer, dishwasher and microwave. The sales person was excellent and knowledgeable. I've had repairs done on my refrigerator freezer. The lights had gone out and the techs came and replaced them. On average, they get it done within a week.

The manager was nice. However, they sold me a directive item and replaced it with one which didn’t work as well. The replacement was different from the original and didn’t match the receipt. The manufacturing company didn’t honor the receipt because didn’t match the technician report info on the item. The solution was to give me an old unused replacement of the same digestive item l purchased. They have no control on their inventory. They sold a lemon and they want to help by giving another lemon. No thanks, get in control of your inventory and the people who do the delivery.

We bought appliances (washer, dryer, dishwasher) from P.C. Richard & Son, and they're all brand names. The initial warranty is thru them and I used the warranty for one of the appliances. We tell them what we want, they say yes or no, we give them a hard time, and it works back and forth till we get what we want.

I've been with P.C. Richard for 30-plus years and I'm very confident in their products and their services. I like the big selection of products. I could pretty much go there and get everything. Any manufacturer that I was looking or researching on and I needed products from, they carry. I bought all my appliances, TVs and recently, I bought my mattresses from them as well. Their service has been very satisfactory. Salespeople are readily available. You walk into the store, they work with you and your budget. They work with your preferences.
I had to call in at least twice for inspections on two mattresses that I had bought from them. It turned out that they were defective from the manufacturer and they were very responsive and accommodating. They followed protocol and they replaced the mattresses. I had no issues. They were very concise, clear, and supportive. They're also pretty much market value. Haven't found anything anywhere cheaper.

My washer is not working properly. Called service and 1st visit they never showed up and I lost a day's pay? 2nd time repaired something and screwed up another issue so had to come back then 3rd time they said nothing was wrong and he left and I am still having issues. I called to talk to a supervisor and lady on call was nasty and refused to put supervisor on and put me on hold and never picked up again and then called back and said, "We will send someone out next Monday" so I'm without a washer for almost 1 month and imagine this with 4 kids.. Unacceptable.

Absolutely horrible company. They refuse to return any merchandise for a refund and flaunt that fact. Home Depot, Walmart, Target, Amazon, Best buy, all allow you to return anything without question. Never ever shop here. They pretend to have a return policy and then list like 20 items you cannot return. They say "this is not sold on as trial basis" openly mocking consumer rights. Their assistants are condescending. They will actually waste your time plugging the AC unit it to see if it blows cold before they return it. I would shut them down if I could. This guy actually looked me in the eye and said other businesses don't refund appliances other. A blatant lie. I beg you never ever shop there. Home depot is cheaper and better in every possible way. Amazon will actually pick stuff up at your house. I can't believe in 2024 these greedy people can not offer a refund on thousand dollar appliances. Shame!!!

They've changed for the worst. Our fine Bosch dishwasher finally broke down. We called PC and asked them to recommend a new one of the same high quality. (We'd bought the last one from them, and it was great for years.) The salesman recommended one, and we had them deliver and install. But after it was installed, we saw the quality was NOTHING like our old Bosch. It was complete junk. We called and asked them to exchange it for a top quality Bosch. They refused. They said that once an appliance is installed, that's it. Even though the salesman had misled us to believe that this was the same quality as our previous Bosch. We talked to several different PC mangers. They all said the same thing. So we unplugged the junk dishwasher, and have been washing our dishes manually ever since.

Their services are horrible. My refrigerator has been or off service over two weeks and every time something no one person said it need a part. Then I got an email that the parts came. The person came with no part. Stated lies then they send some else. He came without parts again. They don’t respect their customers. I would not recommend them P.C. Richard & Son to anyone. Meat and other cold stuff had to be thrown out. Have to ask neighbor to keep medication with older people. Can’t even getting something cold. Think before you go there.

I bought a Tempur-Pedic mattress last year in March. I work 10-16 hours a day at my jobs and needed a comfortable mattress that would last me a very long time. I decided to purchase the top of the line mattress available for $4,000. I decided that the comfort of this mattress would justify the hefty price. When discussing the warranty, the sales associate mentioned to me to make sure to get my mattress covered under the warranty and to get a cover for the mattress that was another 150 dollars. I agreed since I wanted to make sure that this warranty would cover my investment if anything happened. After having it for a little over a year with a sturdy bed frame, the mattress started sinking in the middle. I am a single petite woman who gets maybe 6 hours of sleep a night at most. I have been experiencing neck and shoulder pain so I decided to check the mattress and that’s when I discovered the sinking.
There is no reason that this mattress should be sinking especially within a year of having it with a bed frame and all. I contacted the company the warranty was issued under and they said because of “improper” support that is why the mattress is sinking and why they will not cover my mattress under the warranty. Now I have to replace this mattress within a year of having it all because a neglectful sales associate at P.C. Richard that failed to inform me that I needed to buy a specific bed frame for this mattress. He decided to focus on making a sale to make commission instead of having my best interest in mind. I will not be returning to shop here anymore and I advise everyone to stay away. From P.C. Richard, and one more thing Tempur-Pedic as well.

I called ahead to PC RICHARD & SON and spoke with **, he assured he will assist me when I arrived. He greeted very politely and he was finishing up with another customer but he would come to me in intervals to let me know he will be right with me. I didn't know what size btu I wanted, I asked for something bigger and I told him where I wanted the unit for and he explained in details why I needed a smaller unit and he recommended the best brand not by cost but by durability and function.
He was so professional, he treated me with Respect, showed great concern for me having the right A/c for my comfort. Which is why I greatly recommend anyone who needs anything Appliances for their home should visit this PC RICHARD at 1159 Roosevelt Avenue Carteret, NJ, the Staff was Great!!! The Managers was Attentive as The Representative were and they made my purchase Effortless!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ They deserve all the stars I have given them!! Wonderful Customer Service!!!

I purchased a Beko 27 in. 16.4 cu/ft refrigerator/freezer from PC Richard on July 30, 2021. I also purchased the 3 year service contract which I was told covered all service and parts. Back in early May, the refrigerator and freezer stopped working. I called for service and an appointment was scheduled for the service person to come two days later (5/16). He determined the condenser needed to be replaced. I was told the part would be ordered and when it came in I would get a call to make an appointment to have it installed. After two days of not receiving a call, I called and was told the part came in and we set a date for the repair to be done (5/21). One week to get the refrigerator working! An unacceptable time to be without a refrigerator!
One month later 6/14 I had to call for service again. The freezer part worked but the refrigerator was not cold. The service person came by and determined the fan was not working and had to be replaced. He said it would take two or three days to come in and that I would get a call to schedule an appointment when the part comes in. Three days later I called again since I had not heard anything and was told by the person that she would look into it and put me on hold. After about 10 minutes she said that there was a delay and getting the part and that she would follow up and try and expedite the situation.
I got an email later in the day stating: "The parts required for the repair are expected to be received into our parts distributor around 6/26. Please remember this is an estimated arrival and subject to change..." Note that this is more than 1 week without a refrigerator and unacceptable. I called PC Richard and they offered me a "loaner" refrigerator until the part comes in. I called to make the arrangements and was told that I have to go to the local store where I purchased it to make the arrangements.
I walked up to the PC Richard on Fordham Rd in the Bronx and was told that I actually had to purchase a refrigerator, they would deliver it and then pick it up when it was returned. I was also told that the largest refrigerator they would give me under the warranty is a small one that sits on a counter and is just for basics. It makes no sense to me that a customer would have to purchase a new refrigerator at full price and then return it when the repair is done! Pluss, the size they are willing to give is useless!
In short, overall the people on the phone and the technicians were fine. They professionally did their job and are not the problem. Make sure you are aware on the details of any extended warranty they try and sell you. It's a joke. After shopping at PC Richard for many years and first dealing with the PC Richards on Long Island where I grew up I am very disappointed. I will update this review if and when the refrigerator ever gets fixed. PC Richard should not sell appliances that can't service or get parts for in a timely manner.

The worst buying experience ever. Our refrigerator stopped working on 6/18/2024 and after shopping around we decided to go with this company even though the cost was $200 over Home Depot and Lowe's. Wanted to give a small company our business. We were guaranteed a delivery date of the GE refrigerator model GNE25JYKFS for 6/22/2024.
When we called on 6/21/2024 to check on the delivery window, the sales lady said our order was not scheduled for anytime soon. After escalating to her manager who was of absolutely no help and had no management or customer skills, we figured out this company was just out for our money. There was never a "sorry" or "apology" for this company's mismanagement. We cancelled the order and are now without a refrigerator for 5 days now. Going to check with the big box stores as they seem to be more dependable than this company. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

P.C. Richard & Son's rep was nice and very informative. There were some issues with the scheduling for the one service repair we had with the fridge. There was a miscommunication. I thought they only needed one part to fix the fridge, but they canceled our appointment and gave me a call the next week saying that they needed seven pieces. They needed two technicians to do it. They never told me that either. So, that made it harder to schedule. Once we got scheduled though, they came on the day and time frame they were supposed to come, and got it fixed.

I bought a few things from P.C. Richard such as stoves, dishwashers, and refrigerator. Their sales team’s good. I had to have the washing machine repaired and they came when they were supposed to. The repairman was very knowledgeable. He was also very clean, made sure that he wiped everything down as he left and put everything back exactly the way it was, and showed up when he said he would.

I have had excellent service with P.C. Richard & Son over the years. I got a washing machine, a dryer, a refrigerator, a stove and dishwashers. The customer service team has been excellent. I made an appointment today for one of the appliances and they were very helpful. They usually are very accommodating. I had one man today who was a little bit rude but maybe he was having a bad day.
When I buy an appliance, I always get an additional service contract for a further five years and the appliance already comes with a one-year warranty. So I have a one-year warranty plus the additional five. That's six years. But P.C. Richard said no and I didn't like that about their contract. Then, once I'm ready to renew after the five-year contract, they will only give me a one-year contract. They will not extend it to an additional five years. I wish the coverage was a little better. But for the most part, they're good. If you happen to find something at a cheaper price, P.C. Richard will match it. I always tell them I'm coming to them because I want the best service and the best price. I told my salesman not to let me go somewhere else and find that it's less expensive, and then I have to come back to them.

My stove broke and I needed a new stove. The price of P.C. Richard was better for the same model that I was looking for and it was quicker delivery than anywhere else. Overall, all my questions were answered. They were professional. I also scheduled an appointment for a repair that I needed on the stove and the experience was great.

I always go to P.C. Richard. They have the products and top companies. They always offer other brands. Most of my appliances come from P.C. Richard. Recently, I bought a washer and dryer, refrigerators, and TV from them. I bought an air conditioner yesterday. The rep showed me different units and walked me through the differences. He asked me what my need was and based on that, he recommended me a product. I liked it and ended up buying it.

I have previously had a good experience with PC Richard. This time, I bought an air conditioner and the sales rep was knowledgeable. But I called them today because they said the delivery will be here by 12:30 but it still hasn't arrived yet. The rep didn't look it up. He said, "Just be patient and wait."

I get the best price from P.C. Richard. I got refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, washer, dryers, air conditioners, and TVs. The refrigerator and washer broke. They sent someone out to take a look at them within a week. It took two months for the refrigerator to get fixed. It took too long to fix.

P.C. Richard is more consumer-oriented than the big box stores. They have service. You get to speak to a sales person. The personal experience about being able to talk to a sales person is very helpful. The last couple of years, I bought a washer and dryer, a mattress, an air conditioner, and a TV. Their sales reps are very knowledgeable. They spend time with you. They weren’t hurried. They explained the product and answered every question I asked. The customer service team was great. They were very helpful people. I had a question about a delivery. They were able to look it up, find out exactly when it was coming, which was within four hours. So, it was very helpful.

I bought four new appliances and two of them have had multiple repairs needed. I've had seven service calls in six months. Why did I buy four brand-new appliances that didn't perform well in the first several months? I wonder if P.C. Richard & Son should carry the brand that I picked. Also, P.C. Richard would tell me that the driver would call 30 minutes ahead of time. But they do not. They just show up, for the most part. The first guy called, but that was the only one. But my sales associate should be complimented and rewarded for her good work. She knows more than the entire male salesforce there. She's very knowledgeable.

The sales rep was very knowledgeable and courteous. He was a very nice guy. As far as speaking to customer service over the phone, it was good. But the service itself, they spend a lot of time. They make you wait forever. I put in the service call for the refrigerator and my warranty expired approximately about a week or two before it went. They were courteous enough to give me a complimentary service call. But even prior to that, every time something breaks down, they came in and assessed the problem. But they make you wait so long to have it fixed. They have to order the part. I was without a refrigerator for almost four weeks.

I got a microwave, a fridge, a stove, and a dishwasher from P.C. Richard. I had an issue with my microwave, which I'm still going back and forth with. They're supposed to replace it. But they've been great to work with on that issue. It hasn't been 100% resolved yet because they ordered the item to replace it and it's not in yet. They were very responsive. I highly recommend them. They have great service and friendly staff.

2 months washer broken, 7 visits from technicians and installers. Even bought a new 3500.00 washer dryer combo, installer turns it on, broken. They bring a new one. They tell me ball valve broken. Call plumber 300.0,0 he says nothing wrong with ball valve. PC Richards tech was spinning it instead of giving the 1/4 turn needed to shut it off. He even took a video of him spinning it around. VERY POOR AND VERY UPSETTING.

P.C. Richard's is a good company. The products that we've purchased from them are quality products, and they have good service. We've had a couple warranty issues where we had to have people come out. They listened to me and set up a scheduled time within reason, where I didn't have to wait too long. It is post-COVID now, so I expected it to move along faster, which it did. They came out as scheduled and were cooperative in completing the necessary work to keep the products working efficiently. It went well, and I'm happy with P.C. Richard's. I'll go there again. I'm looking into a smart TV, and that's probably where I'll go to get it.
