    I sent in a claim for the Speed Queen washer that I bought on December 24th. I didn't want to file a claim because I felt that it was unfair that I have a brand-new washer that's more expensive than my whole set in the basement. So, I called them and said, "Hey, this thing isn't functioning properly. I rarely use it. I don't want it fixed." They told me someone had to come and fix it first before they could replace it. The guy came out. He looked at it. He was unfamiliar with the Speed Queen machine. He left. I was angry.

    I called P.C. Richard and told them what happened. "This is an expensive washer. The guy didn't even know what he was doing. I think I should get a new one." The next day, they called me and said, "Hey, you know what? We're gonna send you a new washer." Everything is fine. They brought my new one yesterday. I like the customer service. I've bought many appliances from P.C. Richard and I've never had any issues, but this was the first time I've ever had an issue, and they went above and beyond.

    I bought all of the appliances in my kitchen from P.C. Richard & Son about four years ago. Everybody was courteous back then. Everything works fine except my dishwasher recently developed a problem. I've had five visits for technicians to try to repair it, and so far, they have not been able to correct the problem. When I contacted P.C. Richard, everybody was polite. They open a ticket, and the technicians that were here would have to order parts, and then you would get a notification that the parts were in and to get in touch to schedule an appointment. So, that seems appropriate.

    I'm giving them one more try to come out and fix it. I had technicians here earlier this week. They replaced some additional parts, but then it looked like something else shorted out in the meantime. But it's not in their wheelhouse to say that the machine will be replaced. But I brought that up when I was scheduling the next appointment. Hopefully, it was noted in the records that if this doesn't work, I want the machine replaced. I bought an extended warranty when I bought the appliance and if they can't fix it, I want a new one.

    My experience with P.C. Richard was fine. They did an excellent job. They were very friendly and good. I purchased a refrigerator, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a washer and dryer. Every time I have an issue with an appliance that I had, an older one, I usually go there first, and then I go to a few other places just to make sure they're in line, which they've always been, and I always wind up going back there. I've been there a few times, and everyone was fabulous and couldn't do enough to help you. When I had an issue, I called, and they set up an appointment really quickly, and they followed through. When they delivered or repaired, they were right on time and within the window that they gave me, and were very pleasant and good. I've had very good luck with them. They were outstanding, competitive, and reliable. I would recommend them to anybody.

    P.C. Richard & Son has been absolutely great. I'm a price shopper and we purchase from them most of the time. We came from Home Depot, but when we had a complete kitchen remake, we wanted all the appliances to come from the same place. It would be easier, and P.C. Richard was very accommodating.     P.C. Richard & Son is a very good company. The customer service and everything after the fact here has been wonderful, but unfortunately, I picked the wrong product. The rep gave me misinformation. I was told when I bought the refrigerator that the ice maker mechanics are different on the new model that I got and I wouldn't have gotten this refrigerator otherwise. The rep shouldn't have told me it's a new system in the ice maker because the technician that works on the refrigerators tells me it's not. This is my second refrigerator of the same brand and luckily, I bought the warranty on both of them.

    The technician's great. He helped me with the previous refrigerator years ago and he's the guy that's already been out now a couple of times here with my second refrigerator. I'm still having problems with this refrigerator and I'm in the same situation I was with the last one. P.C. Richard gave me credit for a new one last time and hopefully, they'll do it again when I call the manager at the store.

    I have always done business with P.C. Richard, and I do business with the same management specialist at P.C. Richard in Carle Place. I like their reputation and the way they stand behind the product, and because we've never had an issue in the decades that I've always used them for all my properties, all my homes, all my appliance needs. That's just who I've found to be the best retailer with the largest selection and great sales staff.

    Their reps are bilingual. They know exactly what needs to be taken care of expeditiously if there's a need to expedite based on the need, medical need, or otherwise. All in all, they are efficient and they take their time. They do their due diligence to make sure that I get service when needed immediately with their own technicians because of issues that I've had in the past with secondary vendors, sometimes that even a manufacturer recommends, whom I find to be substandard.

    I also like that I deal with one person all the time. They just know their product, and they understand the customer's needs. They're patient, knowledgeable, and they don't oversell you. They direct you to exactly what you're looking for. If you're interested in a particular price point for a particular property, they make sure that they stay within that realm of pricing, so there's no overselling.

    I went in P.C. Richard & Son and the sales representative was very good, very accommodating, working with the price, and gave good guidance as to which brands to buy. In other words, it's not always price, and then the incentives that were available. We ended up basically doing a rental for the whole house, so we bought all new appliances. I'm talking washer, dryer for laundry, and then the dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, the in-island microwave, refrigerator. I'm probably leaving stuff off, but it was quite an order. They put a deal together with the warranty. And the pricing, the service, the knowledge of the salespeople are so good. They actually understand the products they're selling. They gave good advice. The dryer or the washer was dented and they gave an accommodation on the price. I think we spent almost $15,000 on everything. They said, "Listen, you want a new one or you wanna take a little money off?" So they worked with us. I'm very, very, very happy with P.C. I would never go anywhere else.

    Do not order a laptop online with delivery option unless you don't mind your computer being shipped across the country during a snow storm. It defies common sense to me, so how can I expect comprehensive service if something should be wrong with it? Order has been canceled, and I am going to pick one up myself local instead. Receipt says it could take up to 12 weeks to arrive. I would not have opted for that if I had known.

    Most of our appliances came from P.C. Richard & Son. I was usually able to go there, and they negotiated the price with me and gave me a good deal. I've been very satisfied with them. We got a washer, dryer, dishwasher, and microwave. Their service is good. They come right out and fix the issue. They're coming tomorrow to repair my icemaker for the sixth time. But the good thing is I took out a 10-year warranty when I bought it. They don't offer them anymore. The technician laughed and said, "You're lucky you got 10 years. They don't offer them." I said, "Yeah, I know why." So, I don't get annoyed. He comes out, he fixes it. As long as I'm not paying for it. My son also has P.C. Richard & Son's appliances. One talks to the other about prices and everything, and they took good care of us.

    My experience with P.C. Richard was not great and I'm very unhappy with them. I bought a mattress from them and it started sinking in within a month. They were saying something out of 30 days I could swap it out, but every time I called, I got a different story. “Oh, call back later this afternoon,” “Oh, he won't be in until tomorrow,” “Oh, they're not in right now.” They told me I had to speak to this person or that person. Last week, Wednesday, they sent somebody out to look at the mattress. So, I said, “What is he looking at? Is he gonna get in the bed and sleep in the bed and feel away?” “Oh, no. That's a part of corporate.” “Okay. I’ll let them do it.” Now, I still haven't heard back from them. I will never get anything else from P.C. Richard’s. Never.

    The man they sent last week was supposed to check the mattress and he took pictures. My brother said, “But what the hell are they taking mattress pictures for?” I said, “I don't know. But I'm going along with everything that they say ‘cause I had wanted to swap out.” I can't understand how they were doing this about the mattress. If more money has to go towards what I see, I have it. I'll pay them, but I don't like that I have to keep calling them and they keep talking about this or that person is not there. I was always shopping at P.C. Richard’s for appliances and TV, but they don't have to worry about me spending any more of my money in there again. I am angry and disgusted.

    I haven't bought anything in quite a while but I use P.C. Richard & Son often when I do. Their selection is incredible. They've been around for over 100 years so they seem to always have what I need. About five years ago, I bought a nice refrigerator. The sales reps were always pleasant and I enjoyed working with them. They were very knowledgeable and helpful, and things went very well. I'm dealing with an issue now with my ice maker and I have an appointment today with the P.C. Richards repair guy. They're doing their best to resolve my issue. They haven't, but it's not for lack of trying. They're on it and it'll get resolved, for sure.

    We bought a refrigerator at P.C. Richard over the summer. I'm always benchmarking everything before I purchase and their price is comparable to what we had at the other store we have in town. The reps at P.C. Richard are always very good. They're friendly when you walk in the store and they're knowledgeable once you're there. You never walk in feeling like you're bothering them. We just had P.C. Richard do a repair for us as well. We got about six months on the refrigerator then the ice machine stopped working.     I redo houses and I've been a P.C. Richard & Son customer for a long time 'cause of their location. The sales rep I deal with is the same person I've been using for a while, but now, I'd think twice buying from P.C. Richard again. I got an appointment for my oven, then somebody came out and they had to order a part. I was without an oven for a long time, but I was not using it a lot. However, the oven is less than two years old, and I live in the house part-time. So, it's sad for something to break and the repair costs 1/3 of the price of what the stove costs. I'm not happy with the product and with the price of the service.

    I've been dealing with P.C. Richard in East Brunswick for such a long time and I'm very happy with the store. They're always helpful, and I recommend the store. I purchased a stove recently, and the sales personnel that I deal with, Desmond, is a very nice person. On the other hand, the company has terrible service. When I need service, that seems to be impossible to get through. I got a recliner that has a remote that the wire was broken and I can't get it serviced. The company should be doing something about that.

    I spoke to the manager at the store, and they gave me the number of the company that does the service. I called that number, but they don't answer the phone. They have an answering machine that tells me that they are shorthanded. I told Desmond if they're shorthanded it sounds like they need to hire more people. The answering machine tells me to go on the computer, and since I'm 82 years old, I don't know how to handle a computer. I haven't been able to get my part. I could buy the part at Amazon for $39 and fix it myself, but still, I'm not happy with P.C. Richard.

    There's no longer Sears so I go to P.C. Richard as they're close by. Recently, I got a Frigidaire refrigerator from them. The salespeople were fine and I like that they didn't harass me. When the motor on the refrigerator had an issue, they fixed it. They came out within a week and guy told me what had to be done. They ordered the part and were able to come the following week, but I held them off after Christmas holiday.

    My salesman always finds the right product to fit my needs and he always makes sure the pricing is as good as the pricing will be for that product. Customer service has been good. There were no problems with setting up the deliveries. The delivery showed up when they said they were gonna be there. I also had service on a stove-oven and it went really well also. They came out and diagnosed that it was something in the little electronics of the switch, so they ordered one and then they came and replaced it. It's been working fine since.     I've purchased a lot of appliances from P.C. Richard & Son through the years, with a refrigerator as my last major purchase. I also bought a washer and dryer eight years ago and another one five years ago. The company is good and I like their warranty. I used to have rental property, so I’ve been shopping there for at least 20 years. I like that they send their technicians out to look at your appliances, not some third party, which is very important to me. And they're usually very good with the pricing as well.     I paid for 2 TVs at 2501 Grand Concourse. The delivery not only came late the delivery guys were rude demanding to enter my apartment and refuse to give me my TVs if they did not enter my apartment. So they took the TVs back. Had to Wait another day and on top of that I filed a complaint with the manager and still felt

    Like I was not heard. They sent another set of driver the next day and still they refuse to give my TVs. I told them I was calling the cops because they were at my door and rude. If anyone reads this stay away from 2501 grand concourse. They have the worst customer service and they don’t care for the customer as long as you paid for the product. After that they show no respect to you.

    P.C. Richard have been working on our washer and dryer for years and they’ve been great. People should give them a try for service. The young man that came the last two times for the dryer was really nice. The service was very good. But now, I think our machines are too old for them to get parts for us if needed.
