I ordered the AVANTI 20 inch stove over the phone on Tuesday and it was delivered Wednesday morning, installed and ready to used before noon. Now that is service! Also when PC Richard said they would call me back shortly they actually did. Amazing in the day and age.

Tom ** and Mike ** were so accommodating and patient with my daughter and I. We bought two TVs at the West 23rd street P.C. Richards. I went out of my way to see Tom who used to work on the Upper West Side because I like him so much. Both he and Mike were very helpful.

Customer service at this store is great... I've been there several times and each time Ronald is always of great help. He always helps me find what I want and provides all the necessary info to help choose the right product. I will always recommend this store to anybody and I'll always tell them to ask for Ronald.

My only problem with this review is that I can't give more than 5 stars! I have been working with Craig ** and his PC Richard's team for more than 12 years. They have provided all of the appliances and audio/visual equipment for all three of the houses our family has built during the 12 years. I can't say enough about their professionalism, follow up and superior customer service. It has been a pleasure working with Craig's entire team, they have most definitely earned my loyalty as a PC Richard's customer!

Driver called at 6:40 am to say he would be here at 7:15 and he was. Both he and his helper were not only prompt, they were courteous, neat, efficient, and helpful. Also very helpful with this order was Abu the salesman and Saleh, the store manager. I am expecting installation of range, microwave, and dishwasher tomorrow and feel confident this will also go smoothly. I am highly recommending PC Richard to my friends and family members. Divir ** is a top notch salesperson. He is always knowledgeable about his products. He is always helpful and caring. With this particular purchase he made the buying process very easy. It was a purchase for a school district. He was able to locate the product within the budget we had. I recently purchased a new refrigerator from the P.C. Richard store located at 2143 Flatbush Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11234. I am a long time customer and don't shop anywhere else but there anymore. The Manager ** and his team are great to deal with, making it very easy when looking to buy new appliances and any household items. They always beat any published price when you bring in an advertisement. They have the best deals and stand by what they sell 100%. I've never had any problems with any of my purchases.
We were very happy to have my new refrigerator delivered early the very next day. My old one broke at noon, went to store, found great replacement at a great price around 3pm, and new one was installed before 10am the next morning. Thanks to the crew at the store it was an emergency situation that went very smoothly. ***** 5 stars to P.C. Richard & Son, my only choice for anything you need. I recommend everyone to shop with them, you'll be 100% satisfied customer too.

I know that PC Richards has been around a long time and I can honestly see why. I walked in there expecting to be ignored like all the other appliance stores, I had been to before but I was WRONG! I was helped by an agent named Ray. I came 2 days in a row and he guided me both days. He was extremely knowledgeable about the appliances and was able to answer all of my questions and help me make decisions on which appliances would work for me.
I am a first time homeowner and purchasing appliances for the first time. I needed a lot of hand holding and he was patient with me. I spent about 2 hours talking with Ray about the appliances before finally deciding on what to buy. When I was ready- the manager- Ricky made sure to match the deal I had found at another competitor. I can honestly say that I feel like they had my best interest at heart and they helped me make what felt like HUGE decisions more manageable. Thank you. I will be back for a mattress. :)

We had a house call on 12/15 for the Samsung microwave oven that would not heat up food. The parts were ordered by PC Richard's tech and they had the part shipped directly from the distributor to our home to arrive on 12/23. On 12.24 the PC Richard's techs installed the new part. The service was outstanding including the time frame.

The salesperson was quite knowledgeable and allowed me to browse laptops at my leisure without following me around. I made a purchase along with full warranty. I had a few questions (not problems) after set up and Tech Support was perfect. That extra option in the service plan is a smart choice, even if you are pretty good with computers!

Just wanted to say that I visited the Yonkers, NY location on Saturday night looking to purchase an car radio as a gift to my daughter. While you don't have a great selection of car radios, I did purchase one because of Mohammed. Jack ** is a highly professional salesperson. Jack's excellent customer service skills enabled me to purchase a fridge. Jack took the time and patience to assist me and to answer my questions about the sizing and selection of a refrigerator. In addition, the two workers who delivered the fridge were highly skilled in delivering and installing the fridge. The 3- to 4-hours window for delivery allows the workers to be more attentive, thorough, and exacting about the delivery and installation. I am completely satisfied with the purchase and installation of the fridge and I would definitely visit Jack & PC Richard when I am in the market for another home appliance.

Delivery and installation was superb. They called 15 minutes before they arrived and wheeled it into the rear yard and down the steps to the basement. I had disconnected the old machine which they promptly took back up the stairs, into the yard which provided plenty of working room in the basement. The two of them worked as a real team and had the new machine installed and tested in fifteen minutes. They gave me the instruction book and some practical advice. I signed the invoice and they left. The entire process took about 25 minutes. BRAVO. EXTREMELY WELL DONE.

Had a Haier washer/dryer combo and after like 3 months it starting acting up. Customer service sent out 7 different people to try and fix it, but like I told them we needed new machine. They gave us credit for old machine towards new machine so we went to store at Atlantic terminal, and salesman Oscar and manager Neil took very good care of us with our new machine. If you're ever in Brooklyn definitely check them out.

I ordered for a NEW Samsung Tab A as shown in the website but they shipped me a USED tablet. When I tried to called customer service they are rude and hang up the call with no reason. If you care for your money and time better avoid this seller. Have some peace of mind instead of wasting your time to chasing them.

I was very disgruntled during the process of purchasing a tablet, which wasn't available in store. They both went above and beyond to locate it, and have it delivered to me. Initially, I did not believe I would have received it, and I did. I was and still is extremely happy with the services that were extended to me.

On 27th November 2015, I purchased a Samsung Range from P.C. Richard, Paramus. Sales Agent Mr. ** said and wrote on the bill that it would be delivered on 12/04/2015 (Company advertisement says it will be delivered on the next day of your purchase). On 12/3/15 ** called and said that they could deliver it only on 12/5/15. Again on 12/4/15 ** called again and said that they could deliver it only on next week. On 7th Monday I went to the store again and inquired about the delay. ** said range would be delivered on 12/9/15. I asked him to compensate for this delay. He said he will. At last range was delivered on 9th December, 12 days after the purchase, changing delivery dates three times. After three days I called **. He said he cannot do any compensation for the delayed delivery. I don't know what happened to P.C. Richard!!!

Bought an LG40LF6300 Television from P.C. Richard in Milford on 12/08/2015. Purchase from Salesman Robert was quick, easy and accurate. On 12/12/2015 the T.V. was installed by Adam and his associate on my daughter's bedroom wall. They did a great job! They were quick, very neat, made absolutely no mess and took all unnecessary materials away with them. The above model number price of the T.V. changed from $398.99 to $348.99. At the store in Milford on 12/13/2015 Dan the Manager quickly adjusted the difference to my account. Now in the market to buy a bigger T.V., will definitely go back to this store and would recommend the same installers to do the installation. Thank you.

So after shopping around for the best deal online as most people do today because life is so busy. I find that my local PC Richard's that in walking distance from my house is having great sales. So we apply for a credit card, get approved and was given the option to pick TV up today at the store next to my house GREAT! NOT after we submit order we print out order # and Temp card. To read in small print, you must bring card to store to pick up item.
We bring Temp card to store with email on my phone and ID. What do you think happens? The store manager will not give us the TV. He states it has to be the plastic card. Why the hell do they let you apply for a card online, shop for the product and give you the option to pick it up today if the rule is you have to wait the 10-14 days till the real card comes in the mail? Manager was so nasty, PC Richard has lost a customer for life and may more that will have the same issue.

I have dealt with the PC Richards in Carteret on multiple occasions since Hurricane Sandy. The staff is excellent, courteous and accommodating. This was my first shopping experience at your chain. It was an experience I will definitely repeat. My sales person, Ransom, was a pleasure to deal with - polite, friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and prompt and efficient. In 20 minutes, he had shown me both products and explained all of the warranty coverage and details I could possibly need to know. I left happy, with an appointment, and a new appliance sales person for the future. I was somewhat surprised there were delivery charges and my understanding was the installation of the oven was included in this bill. Ransom is an excellent reflections of PC Richards. This is our (spouse and I) first time making a huge purchase in PC Richards in Yonkers, NY, store number 46. Our experience was phenomenal. Our sales rep, ** Louis, was very helpful, efficient, and took our time into consideration. His superb knowledge on all the products in the store put my mind to ease as I had done my research prior to going to the store. I can't even do justice to the incredible customer service that PC Richards has. I purchased an UHD TV and not being very good with electronics, the salesman (Dayne) walked me through it. I had the TV for about a week and I then could not get a signal. I called the manufacturer for assistance, but that was pretty useless. I then called the store and they told me that customer service was closed until following day. I called store on the following day and spoke with Dayne who told me customer service could not come out my way for a few days - then to my complete surprise, he offered to come to my apartment after work to look at the TV.
I have NEVER heard of that - most of the time after you purchase an item elsewhere, the salesman forgets your name and moves on. Not at PC Richards! When they say they back their products, THEY REALLY MEAN IT!! Dayne came over after work and fixed the problem within minutes! I am a super satisfied customer who will now only shop at PC Richards for all electronic purchases! WAY TO GO PC RICHARDS!!!

After spending the last 2 1/2 + hours in your Norwalk store trying to obtain a replacement washer to replace the broken one that was purchased in this store, by my 72 y.o. mother, less than 5 years ago we have left the store exhausted and frustrated. Six weeks ago she began to have issues with the washer and contacted the warranty (she purchased) for the washer. After 3 service attempts with no repair and a mess left by the service guy, she was finally told that they can't find the part to repair the machine and would provide her with a replacement. This was only after she was told by a manager that it was her fault the washer was not fixed because she had to cancel a previous appointment.
Having no washer with a 82 y.o. husband and 97 y.o. mother living with her, I don't think I have to explain the extra burden that placed on her. So I drove her to the store to start this process. Well we were lucky enough to be helped by George ** (who was nothing but wonderful, nice, helpful and kind and the only bright spot of this evening's experience). George tried everything he could to help us but had to call on the assistance of the manager, Brian. This is when things went downhill. This arrogant individual began to tell us that we were being provided a full replacement with free delivery and parts and could not use the $50 remaining from the balance of the exchange from one machine to cover some of the warranty expense, with an attitude that we were asking for too much.
What I had to remind him was that this senior citizen had been without a washer for 6 weeks, had been dealing with incompetent servicemen, rude managers, the hassle of having to go out on a rainy night to replace a machine because it could not be fixed by their serviceman. I had to remind him that he was not doing my mother any favors and had only provided her with aggravation. His pompous and arrogant attitude was unprofessional, ill placed and rude. He acted as if he was doing my mother a favor and not his job.
I can't imagine that this is the way they would expect their staff to treat their customers after such a horrific experience. I am disgusted with this whole experience and sorry we have to get the replacement machine from them. Would like nothing more to wipe our hands off them now forever. The way my mother was treated was horrific and unacceptable. I am so disgusted with P.C. Richards and would never step foot into that store again.

Just recently purchased the whole 9 yards. First let me say that this company stands behind their product by replacing the microwave with a better/newer model for the same price as what we paid for the older model. I have 3 small children and don't have time to go into the store like most people can. After doing some research on washing machines online, I placed my order over the phone. The salesperson, Kenneth, was wonderful. He knew the product I was speaking of well and was very knowledgeable. He was patient, a great listener, and very thorough. He was a professional and what a model salesperson should be. He even gave me his cell phone number so I can contact him with any further questions! He exceeded all my expectation all around! I placed my order on Wednesday afternoon and my washing machine was installed in my home by 7:30 in the morning the next day!!! The Delivery men were also great... My new stove, Samsung NX58H5650WS, was ordered yesterday (Friday, November 6, 2015), and was delivered today (November 7, 2015). Sharon was my salesperson and took care of everything. We purchased a Whirlpool washer in Jan. 2014. Have had to have several service calls mostly due to machine leaking. This morning, the machine continued to fill up and drain and caused a mini-flood in the basement laundry area. I called your store in Manchester, CT and spoke with the very best representative a company could have, Dorothy. Within a few minutes Dorothy had resolved the problem. I've always shopped PC Richard for all my family's electronic needs. I will tell you this, they all have great service ethics however the one in Carteret is by far the most attentive and professional. Their bargain clearance center is huge in back of the store and filled with surprisingly well priced goodies, some up to 75-90% off!!! There's nothing you can't find at the store that the manager and staff won't cater to and or work with you to get you best pricing. The manager is always on the floor greeting customers and assisting their well trained workforce. It's always a pleasure to visit there... and no, we are not related or have a known relative working there, they just make you feel like family. I like that...

I sent my home entertainment system in for repair, upon getting it back I was told there was nothing wrong with unit and it came back broken, worse than when I sent it, and still was not fixed either. Order can be found by phone# **. We signed up to purchase a cooktop. We were told they had to survey the installation area to make sure it would fit. We had a window from 1-4pm and they finally arrived after 8pm. Truck broke down. They said it wouldn't fit and a different cooktop would be much more expensive. We found another installer and he measured and said it would fit. We told PC Richard we would pick it up. When would it be available? They said Thursday.
On the day after Thursday we called to make sure it would be ready for pick up on Saturday when we would be in the area. It turned out it would NOT be ready until the following Tuesday. We ask if our installer could pick it up and they said yes and to prove his credentials they would email me immediately a copy of the invoice which he could present for the pickup. Email never arrived. What possibly could be worse?? Terrible service!!

I do not recommend PC Richards. Using them has been a nightmare. First, my fridge did not work and leaked all over my new floors. They tried to service it 3 times and it still leaked even though it was "fixed". After three times, they switched it out and damaged my floors removing the old one and spilling the leaking water all over. When I called to complain about the old floors they told me that they spoke to a "flooring expert" and it was an existing issue. This is all without looking at the floors. Next, my Bosch washer doesn't work. It has been serviced 3 times and still not working. I have to take off work and stay home for all 6 of my servicing issues. I am about to dispute the charge on my credit card unless the defective washer is removed from my condo.

Though it is killing me not to, I will not give names of folks who disrespected/lied to me at this time but should a "real" person in charge want them, I will supply them. Purchased a small fridge (14 cubic in) back in May/June. Never bought from them before - supposedly had a good rep. Walked in, got welcomed by nice associate. Size I wanted not on floor but was shown one in 16 inch and told it was exactly same only small size I wanted. Paid with credit card and all done in 15 minutes. This was only good part of my experience! Choose a delivery date & all was set up. Delivery guy spoke VERY limited English (Slavic/Russian). I asked a few questions but he couldn't really respond. I know nothing about this appliance but he assured me & said "Plugged in - give 2 hours to put your food in" & he was gone w/in 15 minutes. Hours later, I put in my items.
By that night, I noticed my freezer was not cold and water was dripping off top inside and water under food. No manual with fridge; no instructions or phone number given to me to call should there be problem. Called P.C. Richards (Marlboro, NJ) where I bought fridge, and described what was happening. Manager very nice & tells me to push dial behind food up and freezer will be ok. Next morning, freezer filled with water and frozen icicles... All food (just bought for the month - over $125!) defrosted - ruined. Called again; “We'll send someone out.” BUT I must call Customer service, and, by the way "We do not pay for food lost." What? That was my food $$ for the month from my check... How do I eat?? Called Customer Service as he said to do. Given runaround from person to person; finally, set up for technician to come; they'll call me but "We do not pay for food lost."
Called again to complain; supervisor won't come to phone! Put on "hold" - then, rep said supervisor will give me a store credit. Are you kidding? I can't buy food there with a store credit. I will never use credit because I will never purchase anything from P.C. Richard again after this. They tell me to call manufacturer; how do I know it is fridge? No tech has yet come. Tech finally comes after a few days from Lakewood, NJ store. Finds fridge not set up correctly; should have been elevated in front - wrong screws used when moving handle to other side. He sees all food in 2 large black plastic bags - "They'll never give you compensation for food." He also finds "gasket (?)" damaged when handle moved. Report put in. Many calls later after hang-ups and finding out first supervisor didn’t exist, rep lied about credit to shut me up.
Finally got to the head guy's secretary for Customer Service area. He tells them she will deal with me - he refuses to answer any of my calls. He wants "proof" of groceries bought before any reimbursement is ever made… Who keeps receipts of food bought once food is put away?? Secretary was rude and nasty - "Why are your screaming at me?" she says. What? Really? Finally, they will replace fridge. Again two foreign speaking men come to deliver replacement. Younger one tells me I don't deserve new fridge. Attitude like he was Mr. Richards himself - threatening attitude and major anger issues. I tell him to just bring fridge in as he was being paid to do!! The second guy brings in replacement fridge; banging it into my doors and walls. My neighbors say it was not in a carton - came right off back of truck. Then young guy wants me to sign receipt but also demands I say all is fine. I say I will sign for receipt only.
He comes close to me in threatening manner and says "I will not fight with you. You old lady but you better sign." Being a senior female and alone and having both men surrounding me, I just put an O.K. on paper. They leave & I call Customer Service. Speak to rep; transferred to secretary. She says I will get limited compensation (nowhere near $$$ I lost)! I decide to settle for it; better than nothing. Try to discuss delivery but she hangs up. Weeks later had not received check. Called her again. "Oh, sorry. Mistake made by system, new check will be in mail." However, once I cash check all is done for them.
Less than 60 days later same issue with freezer - food lost. They have to send tech, but only after I threaten a lawsuit. By time he is scheduled, I have thrown out food and freezer has no more ice hanging so he says since it seems to be working, he has nothing to check!!! "Call them if it happens again." The fridge makes all kinds of noises as it goes on and off. Frozen food boxes always "damp" - freezer items not frozen as should be. So, what can I do? Luckily, I did not depend on that late, insufficient check or I would have starved that month. I was told one of the real top guys says there are no complaints against this company. Honestly?? Guess he doesn't check the Internet!!

So I purchased the latest 'iPad Mini 4 16GB' tablet yesterday at 4 pm (10/8/15). The only way to purchase online said for in-store pickup. Okay, fine. I was able to locate and choose the Patchogue store, on Long Island. Since I work in NYC, I 'figured' I could place my order at 4 pm and pick it up by the time I got to Patchogue, later last night around 730 pm. Nope. Wrong. Today is Friday, 10/9/15, and I still have yet to receive an email saying my item is available for in-store pickup. I emailed 'Support' earlier this morning and asked what the hold-up was. I even asked if they could please look into seeing if the item was available at the nearest PC Richard store, near my job.
I get the usual automatic response saying my email will be responded to in under 24hrs. An hour later, they reply saying something similar to "Thank you for contacting us! We are very sorry that the Patchogue location did not have the iPad in stock for you. We see that you spoke to 'Jennifer' (I changed the name to protect the innocent) and will be picking up the item on Monday. Thank you for your business." I responded with something along the lines of "Please advise, but this is the first I'm hearing anything from PC Richards with regards to my order, nor have I spoken to anyone named Jennifer."
So I place an in-store pickup order on a Thursday afternoon, and now I'm being told I've spoken to some lady and I've agreed to pick the item up on Monday now? This is all news to me! So Again, I get the usual automated response that I will be replied to in under 24hrs. 2 hrs have gone by now and still no response. I replied again with just "Cancel my order and please let me know after the charges are reversed so that I can keep an eye of it in my account." I don't know who they're getting their information from, but this is just ridiculous. Their so-called 'in-store pickup' is a joke, as well as their 'Support'!
Side note: I went back to their site just now, to see what other store locations have 'in-store pickup' near my job, for this particular item, as well as near my home. Now their website is saying that there's no place for me to go and pick my item up in nyc or on long island. Get it together guys! You've just lost a loyal customer, who's also going to cancel my CC with you!

I recently purchased a Jenn-Air appliance package from PC Richard in North Haven. As soon as I walked in the door, a gentleman was passing by the front door he was clearly busy. With papers in hand, intercom paging him, and customer saying "thank you so much." He looks at me and says hello, shook my hand and introduced himself as Justin. Not only was his greeting warm and sincere, he didn't ask how he could help me or why I was there, he welcomed me to the store and asked if I was there for the birthday celebration sale, or just passing by. Odd, salesmen always use the same two lines. Nothing like this.
I informed him that my wife and I were remodeling our kitchen. After praise and prayer because he knows what a remodel entails, he asked what brands I had in mind. I recently did some research and really liked a brand called Jenn-Air. I didn't disclose that info and instead, named some of the features I liked about the product. Immediately Justin mentioned two brands. One being Jenn Air and the other Thermador. Well, I wasn't sure of the differences, he actually sat with me and we found every bell and whistle about each product. The patience, kindness and knowledge made me immediately move forward with my purchase. Everything was delivered and installed today. I couldn't be more happy with my decision and my choice to work with this young man. The cherry topper, right after delivery, Justin called to ask how everything went. I recommend everyone gives this a try. You will be pleased!

I was at store 1159 Roosevelt Ave, Carteret, NJ at 9 pm. I came down from Syracuse to buy the TV from this store as my cousin told me that they have good deals on TV’s. He (Ikram **) just got the 65" from this store about 2 weeks ago. There was sales guy name Kevin who was helping us, showed us one floor TV 55" 4k uhd which was listed for 1170. He said that if we like it, he can do it for us for a 1000. We then told him okay that we would buy this and he then walked to the manager to get permission from the manager I believe and came back telling us that the manager is not coming down more than 1100 so I am so sorry. He also said that since it is the end of the month, maybe that's why he is not coming down more just to get his sales more to get a higher bonus, but if we come back tomorrow he could try to get him to lower the price.
I told him that I came from Syracuse and that I will not be able to come tomorrow so could I talk to your manager? When we reached the manager, he was already pissed off and he was telling one of his employees "What the ** are you doing?" and when we tried to talk to him he was like, "If you guys are going to talk about the price, I am not gonna come down and whatever price I told you is the final price." I was going to tell him that his salesperson already promised us to give it to us at 1000 but then because he was all hyped up and being so rude, I felt I better walk out from the store. I would hate to go back to this location again and I would not recommend it to anyone I know.

Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere! The PC Richard & Son in Southampton, LI has knowledgeable salespeople but is the end of the good news. I bought a new dishwasher. It was delivered and installed, but it did not work well from the first load. It ran thru all the cycles but the glassware, silverware and dishes were still soiled at the end of the load. I called immediately. The salesman told me to call the service department, which I promptly did. They sent a "technician" who did not pull the machine out, but simply tried each cycle to make sure it turned on. Then he opened the hose to the drain. That was fine too. He stated that my water was too cold giving it a temperature of 70 degrees! Bizarre speculation. The water is more than adequately hot.
His second false speculation was that I was putting in too much detergent. I asked him how much to use and he said one tablespoon. I followed his directions running 6 more loads, some of which were test loads with only a few dishes. The dishwasher does not get dishes, glasses or silverware clean. It smells dirty when you open it after the cycle is complete. I called again and asked for a new dishwasher. I spoke to the salesman who told me to speak to the store manager, who said, "Goodbye. Have a nice day. Call the service department." Then he hung up.

Purchased LG TV 3 years ago... regular warranty just ran out; fortunately we purchased extended warranty. Called P.C. Richard on Monday morning 8:30 am to say TV light on but no picture or sound. Repair man cannot come to home until 4:30 Wednesday. He was at my house for about 5 min and said TV needed new "motherboard" and it would take 3 business days to arrive. Should have the part by Monday. HAHA...
Since I heard nothing, I called Monday and they told me it takes 3-5 days... so I called back on Wednesday, the 5th day and was told that the part hasn't arrived yet. I live in North Jersey, the part is coming from Carteret, NJ about 1/2 away. The repair department said it will be until Friday or maybe the following Monday until they receive it. Ok so that is 8 days for a part that I could have gone to in 1/2 hour and picked up and had so much quicker! Disappointed that when I first had them order part, I asked them to call me to let me know when it is arriving. No call... and when I call they tell me when it comes, it comes. My computer broke down at work and the part I needed arrived in 24 hours and was fixed. Poor customer service.

I received a call from Michael at P.C. Richard & Son corporate office. He was very helpful to me and understanding of my situation. He offered compensation for my trouble and, as a result, I will definitely give P.C. Richard & Son another shot.
I have shopped at P.C. Richard & Son several times in the past and always received good customer service. I think this past experience was just one major fluke and I am happy everything finally got resolved in a satisfactory way.
The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because I did have to go through an ordeal to get everything fixed.

I have been a loyal customer at P.C. Richard & Son for about 5 years now. I have always received excellent customer service and that's why I kept going back. I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator on July 2nd at your Union Square location (120 East 14th Street New York, NY 10003). It worked fine for about 2 months. On Friday September 4th I noticed it was not cold inside. I performed all the trouble shooting procedures in the owner's manual and waited as instructed by the owner's manual 24 hours for the refrigerator to equalize. It never did.
I called the P.C. Richards service number and they said the earliest they could send a service technician out would be Wednesday September 9th. I explained to them that this would not work for my schedule and asked if they could send out someone out on Sunday or Monday as this was a brand new refrigerator. They refused. I made sure with the customer service agent that I spoke with that the refrigerator would be fixed on Wednesday as I have had to rearrange my entire life for service tech to come on that day. She assured me my refrigerator would be up and running on Wednesday. Needless to say it was not.
When the service tech came yesterday he opened up the refrigerator, said it was broken and took pictures. He then told me to call the service number in an hour to see what was to be done. When I called that number no one knew what was happening. Finally I found someone to get to the bottom of things and found out that the service tech ordered parts. The parts would be in by Friday September 11th but there was no guarantees as to when a service tech could come out!
By this point I am highly upset. I spoke with a supervisor and explained to her I needed the refrigerator fixed immediately and that I had already waited patiently for 4 days. Her solution was to have a completely new refrigerator delivered. I said this was fine and that it needed to be to my apartment before 4pm on Thursday September 10th. My building has strict delivery hours. I can only receive deliveries between the hours of 9am and 4pm. The supervisor assured me this would not be a problem. I called the quick check number last night and was told my delivery window would be between 12:45pm and 3:45pm which is fine. However when I called the number this early this afternoon to double check I was told the window was now between 3:45pm and 6:45pm!
I did not know which service number I should call so I called the Union Square location and spoke with a supervisor ** who was extremely rude. I explained the situation to him and his response was if they said they will be there before 4 they will be there. I told him I was concerned because of what the quick check line said. He then informed me there was no way for him to find out where the truck was and then said to me, "I don't know what you are getting so excited about. It's only 1:20 in the afternoon."
At this point after everything I have been through with this situation I became very upset with him. I told him I did not believe there was not anyway to check where the driver is at and that basically like everyone else I have dealt with in this situation. He did not want to do his job. His response to this was "If I'm so lazy why did I pick up the phone." I said to him that it was his job to answer the phone and asked to speak with his boss and he informed me that there was no one else available. At this point I hung up the phone because it was obvious I was not going to get anywhere with him.
Long story short this is the worst customer service I have ever received in my entire life anywhere. I can't believe that your company would sell such unreliable appliances and won't even back them up. I put this purchase on my P.C. Richards & Son credit card. It is not even paid off yet and I am already having problems with it. From now on I will never shop at P.C. Richards again and I will make sure to tell everyone else I know that they would be better off going someplace else. Needless to say I am still waiting for my refrigerator.

I went to PC Richard and Son on 08-16-2015 and l did buy a game console. No sign at cashier at the entrance and no one warning you about their return policy procedures. The console wasn't work. l went to the store to exchange due to its damage and they said that aren't responsible and once you get out of store they don't do return or exchanges - it's their policy. They are robbing the clients by selling broke products as new. The manager just laugh on me and told me "it's your problem not mine." To me this is a big scam and fraudulently way to steal millions of dollars from customer. Investigation and audit must be done.

Purchased a mattress set on March 8. Had it delivered March 13, 2015. Left the box spring covered for a while and a couple months back I took the plastic off. I have been noticing I was getting bit up but never thought anything other than mosquitoes could be the issue. Sunday I found a bug crawling on my leg in the middle of the night. Lo and behold it was a bed bug. I never in a million years would have thought bed bugs would have been the issue especially since in March when I moved everything in my home was purchased brand new. So after flipping the bed and box spring they were embedded in the box spring. I immediately searched the rest of my home and came across nothing. Nobody else in my home has any bites on them. I'm assuming since I keep a clean home and I'm constantly vacuuming and disinfecting. I kept them confined to that one space.
After contacting P.C. Richard worst customer service in my life had me on hold half an hour at a time. They basically said nothing they could do. Had my home been infested I could understand, but when they are only in the box spring that came from your store there is an issue. My kids beds where purchased elsewhere, no issue, my sofas no issue, all purchased in March. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau consumer affairs and I will move on to 6abc and NBC 10 to further investigate, that's how positive I am that they were carried in by that box spring. I would never do business with P.C. Richard again.

I went to PC Richard outlet to a washer and dryer in New Jersey. My dryer just stop working. First let me tell you the dryer is only two (2) years old. It was brought in the year 2013. Call PC Richard and being that I do not have a contract for parts and labor there is nothing that they can do for me. Now on the other hand coming time for me to renew my contract on my washer which was brought @ the same place. The washer starting acting funny but I must tell you that also with the washer after one years of me having this washer I've had a water pump put on after one year of me purchasing this washer. OK. Now the water pump went again. But the second time PC Richard gave me credit. I really need to get some answer asap because everyone knows that something like a dryer or washer you are to have it for a least 5 years. People, from my mouth to your ears DO NOT GO TO PC RICHARD OUTLETS FOR NOTHING.

We punched the Sharp 70-in 4K Smart TV. When we turned it on there was a line across the screen. I called Sharp to ask what could be the problem and they said they would send me a email to start a case. I waited days and no email. So I called P.C. Richard and the next day there was a tech at the house. It was determined it could not be fixed and we decided to spend more for a trusted manufacturer instead of a replacement. P.C. Richard was there to help so we were not stuck with a broken TV.

I purchased a range and microwave for my son and his fiancée’s bridal shower, along with delivery, install and warranty. Upon install completion, the installer wanders down to hallway and says here's the bathroom and uses the bathroom. Upon leaving the premises the driver of the large delivery truck backs into the retaining wall, goes forward into the fence, cracks a tree in half and then trades places with his partner. The driveway is long and steep, of which we informed PC Richard & Son at the time of purchase; but was still stumped as to why he was so nervous and hurried to leave. Until my son's fianceé notice that her rings were taken from her ringer holder at the bathroom sink. Her engagement and pre-engagement engagement rings were stolen. Then it all made sense. Because it's Sunday, we cannot call the delivery center until tomorrow. Until then, my son and his fiancée are just heartbroken and devastated.
Does PC Richard do background checks on the sub contracted people they allow into your home? Will they take responsibility? We filed a police report and they are informing all pawn shops to alert them. These rings total almost 15,000 dollars.

By far the worst customer service I have ever crossed paths with. Received numerous repairs on a washer Whirlpool that the service dept told us was repaired and apparently never was. We set a load to wash downstairs in the laundry room. I went to the make drop offs to camps, by the time we returned to put the clothes in the dryer the water had completely come out of the washing machine and spread throughout the kids room and damaged their floors and my eldest daughter's property that were in boxes for her return to college. I received the run around the machine till finally they credited me for another washing machine.
Ordered another washer and sales person swore by this washer. I did not want to purchase another front loader but he said it was rated customers no. 1 pick. Washing machine came the next day. So excited because we have 5 children and needed to use the washing machine immediately, we did. When I say that the load literally took 5 hours to wash I thought I was going out of my mind. I gave it a chance to finish and it never did, finally I stopped it and tried another setting. This setting seem to work well, said 10 min left on spin. Went finished up with dinner, came downstairs and 2 hours later the machine still showed 10 min in spin. Called both the store and the service dept and continue to get the run around.
This machine is not even 2 days old now and they refuse to exchange it. I'm being told I have to get a repair. It's like a nightmare, I have to get repairs made by the same repairmen that could not properly repair the first machine. Customer service reps Dana and Marilyn both rude they said the manager would get back to me once he was off of the phone. Hours later I called again I was told to speak to the store manager that they were the only ones able to make the exception on the exchange. Called the store manager Sheldon ** who was just as rude, would not assist me and just simply told me here was nothing he could do but have it service to call service.
So now service is closed. the service manager Mile ** never returned my call and I'm stuck with a brand new washing machine that can not being exchanged, only serviced by the same folks that could not repair the first machine. Hmmm great customer service. My question is not how but now I see why PC Richard now needs to also sale mattress. They need business because there is absolutely no way I would purchase another appliance from them again.

I was shopping for a mattress and went to the usual suspects then remembered P. C. Richard now sells them so I went in to give it a try. The prices marked were the same as everyone else but then the sales rep gave me a quote when he knew I was shopping and told me for that price I had to do it before Sunday. I went back Saturday, the salesmen, Vince, was working with someone so I had to wait 45 minutes for him. I was not happy but they were there first. I told him I'll take the mattress and now he said the price would be $20 more and on a $150 mattress that's a lot, or he would have to call the manager. I told him to call the manager, who said he will not live up to the price Vince gave me. I wasted over an hour at the store, left pissed, bought the mattress elsewhere for an extra $15 and after buying lots of things at P.C. Richard I will not return.

Bad experience with PC Richard's extended warranty. Expect a week for a tech to come diagnose problem (even if you identify issue yourself they won't order part first) and at least another 5 days for a repair (and that's assuming the part is available for overnight delivery--which in PC Richard's world takes 2 days). Even if you live a stone's throw from a store they're either hopelessly understaffed or don't care enough about your broken dishwasher or other major appliance to get it repaired any faster.

After confirming a scheduled delivery, it was also confirmed that my old appliance would be replaced. That was annotated on my billing receipt for my records. On the date of the delivery the delivery people refused to take the old appliance. Granted the appliance is large but the large size was noted as well. When calling P.C. Richard & Son to try to rectify the problem, the salesman that sold me the item, Donald, and the manager, Ricky, were very disrespectful and aggressive with me. Both were reluctant to even try to help find a solution to the problem. I had to personally call the corporate offices to try to have someone pick up my old appliance. I understand that someone may have made a mistake but these two gentlemen were apathetic to the point of uselessness. Needless to say, a solution could not be negotiated.

My D/W broke two months ago and despite my ignorance in the electronic field, I immediately knew it was because the side clips of the internal L-shaped flush pipe broke. Only after one month!!! Since I called them for the first time, PC Richards showed up 4 hours later than planned in that day and they came out that the wash motor was broken... I waited another month for the replacing part to be available and finally when somebody from PC came, they told me that it wasn't the motor but the internal flush pipe that needed to be changed. I am now in the waiting line again, I do not know for how long again. I am very upset! Will never buy anything again from PC Richards and I will never use their service anymore.

I have purchased 7 appliances, one appliance was delivered with broken part on dishwasher. When plumber went to install he noticed broken part. I called PC Richard. They expect me to wait one week for a new part to be delivered. I have dealt with manager in Babylon NY ** and was told one thing by him and another thing has happened. I have gotten the run around since this happen. All 7 appliances were purchased at once, spent a lot of money at that store and getting nowhere. I also ordered a adapter kit for microwave. Was told it was in, drove to warehouse, wasn't there, sat there for 20 mins waiting while they said they were looking for it.
I will never shop at this store again and will tell as many people as I can about my terrible experience. I should have been delivered a new dishwasher immediately and PC Richard install with no charge to me. I still can not put up microwave because don't know where adapter kit is. I have gotten run around from store manager ** in Babylon NY store.

Proscan PLDED3273A - Purchased 2 tvs 5/24/14. One went black Monday, June 15, 2015. The warranty was 90 days labor and one year parts. I called PC Richards and was told it would be $90 just to come out. The volume works fine. I can even see faintly the screen. It's like one of the bulbs that light the screen went out.

The worst, worst service ever! I have shopped with PC Richard and Son for over 10 years but I will never go back. After 4 years my W/D combo broke. PC Richard could not fix it and I had to purchased new W/D combo. Two years later the new dryer broke. It took me 6 weeks back and forth with PC Richard. They keep sending unqualified technician who now in addition broke the washer. Technician was rude and unprofessional. PC Richard is not standing behind their damage.

PC Richard in Woodbridge NJ On 3/31/15 we bought a Whirlpool Cabrio washer and dryer, a salesman named ** helped us. I wasn't happy with the washer, so I called the manager (**)... and asked him if it was possible to exchange my washer, he said yes I can. My husband and I got to the store. ** was helpful but he was busy so he sent a salesperson to help me, who was not helpful at all. I wanted the washer with the extra feature that said "deep water wash". Rather than deep water soak, two different things. ** told ** to write the order and he got confused between two washers and ordered the wrong one.
Washer was delivered and to my surprise it was exactly the one that I had just returned. A couple of days went by and I decided to go back to the store and all hell broke lose, ** denied having written the order wrong - my word against his. ** the first salesman who sold us the first washer was there, got very upset with me when I told him I was exchanging. He began to talk to me in a rude manner almost yelling, I could see my 77 year old husband getting upset. I decided I didn't want to deal with this rude angry man, I asked for help from another guy who I believe is also a manager by the name of **, he tried his best to help me. He called the salesman that made the mistake and of course he denied it and said I had ordered that one. I said to him that I know what I ordered and why.
Now the washer I really wanted was right there, but they didn't want to sell me that one. They gave me the choice from two washing machines and that's it. I chose one and was upset all the way home. While ** is trying to help me, ** is running around the store giving me killer looks, and talking to customers about me... making me very nervous.
When they delivered the washer it looked horrible next to the beautiful dryer... so I'm still not happy. So I went to another PC Richards store and bought another washing machine that matches my dryer, and has an extra feature that says extra boost wash, they delivered it yesterday and the other one will go to my son. What a nightmare! My husband is still angry with me because I still bought another washer at PC Richards after being treated like crap.

We have bought our appliances at P.C. Richard on Broadway Upper West Side for the last 10 years. Always fairly happy with the choice and installation. We purchased a microwave and decided to buy a service contract through P.C. Richard The microwave stopped working after less than two years (not their fault) but it took us 6 weeks before getting the issue resolved. First, it took one week to schedule a repairperson to come. Then he said he needed to order a part which took another week to come in. Then it required two repairmen to fix which took about another week and a half to schedule because it's difficult for them to schedule a two man team.
When the two repairmen came, they discovered that the microwave actually needed another part which had to be ordered and would take 5 business days to receive. After numerous calls to P.C. Richard, they finally agreed to swap out the unit with a new unit. But getting the certificate of insurance and the installation scheduled took some time as well. Finally afar 6 weeks, we have a working microwave and P.C. Richard has lost a customer for good. If they are not capable of servicing products, they should stick to just selling them.

There was a problem with my parents’ stove where there was a clicking sound coming from the stove. All knobs were off and there was a smell of gas. I called PC Richards who sent out a tech who stated that he would have to order a part and she would be without the use of the stove for a few days which my mother refused and he changed statement where he would be able to install a new part tomorrow. I called the customer Service number when my mom called me to let me know this the fourth time this has happen with this stove which she purchase new and she keep having the same issue.
Well, when I called customer service to let them know our concerns, I spoke with a rep named ** who placed me on hold for approximately 7 minutes to speak with her supervisor. When she came back to the phone she said that the supervisor whose names is ** informed her to let me know that if it does not work this time that next time it would be exchanged. This upsets me because I explained that this is an ongoing issue and my father is on oxygen at home and this becomes a very dangerous issue. We have to turn off oxygen and worry about possible explosions, also that the supervisor never bothered to even speak with me.
I am very disappointed in the level of customer service we received. When I asked ** for a number where I can call and speak with a person about my complaint I was told to go to PCRichard.com to write my complaint. Very unhappy, I would appreciate a phone call from someone concerning this issue. ** on behalf of **.

On February 14th, I bought a dryer from PC Richard. It was delivered on February 19th. I just had them drop it off because my son and I were going to swap my old dryer for the new one. The space is a little confined and it is easier for my son and I to fit in there. Once the new dryer was in place, I pressed the start button and nothing happened. The next day, I called the service department. They told me to get an electrician to check the outlet. I wasn't paying for an electrician to check an outlet that was working prior to a new dryer being plugged into it. They begrudgingly set me up for service. On Feb. 26th, PC Richard Service came and discovered that there was indeed power going into the dryer, but something was wrong internally. The very nice service man said he would have to order parts.
When I contacted the service department to find out how long it would take for the parts to get in, I was told on March 12th. That was nearly a month after I bought the dryer, so i wanted to speak to someone in power about it. Regardless of how many times I called, I was put on hold for a long time, or told someone would call me. No one ever called to expedite.
On March 13th, the same service man came. He still was not able to repair the dryer and would need more parts. On the 16th, Monday morning, I called service once again. I do not remember exactly what date they told me the parts would be in, but suffice to say it was 2 weeks. Again, no one seemed too concerned that I paid cash for a dryer a month earlier and still had never used it. So, I took to Twitter. Through Twitter, they asked for my information. On the 17th, I was called by service and told to go to the store and pick out a new dryer. On the 19th, I went to the Riverhead store, which is where I originally bought it. I was told if I picked anything other than the original model, I would have to pay the difference. So why send me to the store if you intend to give me the same dryer? Just send me the darn dryer then!
Frustrated by all the new charges they were trying to tag on, I told them maybe they should just take the dryer back and give me a refund. They told me they couldn't do that. Really? Just, really?? The salesman spoke to the manager, who decided to waive the installation charge. How big of you! I won't go on about what more went on. On March 24th, 5 weeks after I bought it, they delivered and installed a working dryer.

My washing machine started leaking two years into its five year warranty period. During the first appointment, the technician said that he would need to order a replacement pump. The pump would be delivered to my residence and I would need to schedule another appointment to have it installed. His estimate for how long this would take was 5 to 7 days. From the technician's company's refusal to give me a tracking number, I'm sure that the order for the pump was not placed for another two weeks. The pump finally arrived 3 weeks later (instead of 5 to 7 days later as originally estimated), and I had to wait one more week to get another technician to come to install it. The second technician was late.
Considering the amount I paid for the 5 year warranty and the wages lost staying home waiting for the technicians, it would have cost less and been much faster to buy a new washing machine. At least after one month, they finally managed to fix it.

On 2/16/15 I found an amazing deal on their website, that I couldn't pass up. It was for a desktop PC that would suit not only my gaming needs, but also my photo and video editing needs (have a newborn and wish to cherish the moments). I noticed the PC around 7 a.m. est and waited until 2 p.m. to make the purchase, in case it changed. Checked order status around 8 a.m. on 2/17/15 and it had changed from processing to pending merchant action. Checked bank statement at that time as well and saw they had taken payment for my order. Now excited about my deal of the century I went about my day.
At 11:29 a.m. I received an e-mail from PC Richard stating, "Unfortunately, due to a computing error on the site, the item you purchased (**) was sold for a price below what we are able to sell it for." and are sending me a $25 gift card for the error. At this point I go back on to their website and see the PC still up for that price. Confused I try calling the service number given to me, to find out more information. Boss walked in had to go to a surprise meeting. Had my mother call on my behalf to find out more information. Talk with her later that evening and she informs me that she had spoken with a very nice woman that was willing to honor the price for us but, was unable to due to the manager having that power and he was no longer in the office. She did explain to my mother that he will be back the following day and to call back.
Feeling pretty good about the situation I decide to sneak in the call at work. I call the service line at 9:50 a.m. and get Justin, who informs me that there is nothing he can do and the company is not willing to honor the original sales price. After a few more moments talking with him he places me on hold (for 8 mins) and then transfers me to his manager Jason. I immediately get "stone walled". "I understand how you feel but there is nothing we can do". Then offers me $100 dollars off and a $50 gifts for my troubles. I explain to him that they have taken payment almost 24 hours after I made the purchase. "That money will be back in your account by the end of the week". Pretty nice how they can take your money quickly but, take so long to give it back.
I explained that it was processed through them, payment taken, and the mistake wasn't caught until it went through to the third party, they should honor this deal and own up to their mistakes to keep a customer happy. Kept getting the run around and told Jason that this is like going to a grocery store, paying for something and before he handed my product being told they can no longer honor this price, "here's your money back". I was informed that analogy isn't relevant and the we cannot honor this price speech started again. Frustrated I ended the phone before I had gotten irate.
I don't feel this is very good customer service at all and that should be a large backbone in any company. Now I have spent thousands with this company and referred many friends and family to them, which have done the same. I ignored other reviews and complaints about this company, due to never having any issues personally. I will no longer be doing business with this company, who will not do anything to satisfy a customer, or own up to any mistakes they have made.

I purchased a washer with Sears many years ago and had it installed with absolutely no problem. I have ordered new hoses for the washer. The washer was very old and I decided to buy a new one with PC Richards. I paid for installation, leveling of the washer, and removal of the old one. The men from PC Richards removed my old washer but said that they couldn't install the washer because they did not have the right size hose and I needed a pipe. Needless to say they left the washer not leveled and they cut the existing hoses that I already had.
PC Richards did reimbursed me for the installation fee but now I had to get new people to level my machine who questioned why did they cut perfectly good hoses. I had to pay them for new hoses, to level and install my washer. I feel that it was very unprofessional to leave my washer not leveled and cut my existing hoses that cost me more money to replace. Occasional the washer makes loud noises and it has only been installed over a month.

My GE washer is 15 months old. That means it's only 3 months out of factory warranty. It is broke. I called service department and was told its $99! just to come out. I told him that was ridiculous - response was that is their policy. I said thanks but no thanks. I am furious. $500 and it's broke. I don't have that kind of money for a service call and then pay to get fixed. BTW washer doesn't even get that much use. There are just two of us. So frustrated.

I ordered a main control board for my ref. When the technician came he said that it was the wrong part they had sent me. I called them asking for a refund. They gave me the runaround. Must have spoken to at least 9 people. They kept saying the supervisor Rich would call right back. He never did. I called customer service again spoke to Jessica. She kept saying it was my fault for ordering the wrong part. She said I have the recording. I said "Play it for me" and she said "I don't know how" and said I don't know what the issue is.

I had a laptop on layaway, the day I went to pick it up they didn't have it. I was told, “Come back in 2 days and it will be there.” The associate advised me to get anti-virus. I got it expecting the laptop will be there. I went back no laptop, I asked for a refund. They said, “No give me two more days it will be there,” they promised. I went back and nothing. I ask to speak to manager. He told me the person I spoke to before was lying when he said he was the manager. So not only I had to wait and keep going back to the store, the people who worked there lied about their position. After over 1 1/2 weeks of every two days going back to 86th street on the west side, I finally got the laptop. And they was a little nasty to me even though I spent my money in that store.

Purchased a refrigerator about four years ago. Now I need to have it serviced by their service department and they are completely clueless. A service technician comes out on 12/6/13 and orders the part. I received three missed calls. I contact the number and all I get is a recording. After a week of trying to get through to them I call my local store, speak with a manager. I was told that someone would call on Friday to let me know the time they would arrive on Saturday. No call on Friday. I received a call from the technician on Saturday @ 8:10 am. Was given a time between 11-2. At around 10:30 the technician calls back to inform me that he doesn't have all of the parts and will have to wait. On 1/5/15, I receive a message that I need to contact the service department to schedule the appointment. I call on 1/6/15. The part is not in yet, why would you be contacting me?? It now is a month, the problem has not been fixed. I have a service contract, that I purchased at the time of the sale. Your company is Nationwide, don't you care how you are being viewed??

After 1 year of having the washer/dryer the dryer no longer dries nor gets even remotely warm! Called store directly, they can't help, have to call the repair dept. I call - the girl on the phone was nasty with no personality to deal with the public. I bought the 5-year warranty so this should be easy right??? Wrong! She has to call the outsourced repair vendor Dependable. She tells me Monday morning they will come. They will call in morning with time frame.
Monday comes, they call and say they will be here within the hour that was at 845. By 1130 am no one shows nor calls. I call PC Richards repair dept. First call 30 mins on hold, then disconnected. 2nd call, on hold about 12 mins. Girl says oh they will be there with in an hour! I tell her no, reschedule he told me an hour 3 hours ago. Reset the appt. That day they didn't call to give time, I called them. Same, answer within the hour... They come... 2 parts are broke! He had no timeline on when the parts will come in nor when they will come back. Nor do they know if the 2 parts will be approved. So why did I pay for the 5-year warranty???? 3 weeks... Just had to bring all my clothes to laundromat... Lucky it's only me and my husband... And this isn't over yet!!!! Horrible customer service from repair dept. Horrible customer service from their outsourced vendor Dependable!!!!

Who waits 9 days for a T.V to arrive from Long Island to NJ. Long story short if you (PC Richard) do have products in stock at your point of sale or a nearby warehouse stop selling that product and avoid having to make up outrageous stories as to why you cannot receive your item.

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher in July of 2013 and paid for a very expensive 5-yr extended warranty. In October the dishwasher needed to be repaired and I had to wait over a week for a repairman to come to my house, then several more days for the appropriate parts to be ordered. Last week the appliance malfunctioned again and again I had to wait over a week for a repairman to come to my house. The malfunctioning appliance displays an error code which tells the repair service the appropriate parts to order. On the first call, they just didn't order the parts and dispatched a man to my home with no parts at all. On this second call, the same error message was displayed and the parts were allegedly ordered, but the repairman who came to my house said they weren't stocked on his truck. I had to wait all day today, the second day in a row, for a service man who has just arrived at my house, more than an hour after the time frame I was allotted. Super unhappy with the customer service of P.C. Richard and Son.

After scheduling an appointment for a new washer repair for leaking water no one came and cannot have service until next week. We purchased an extended warranty but cannot seem to get service. Employees at PC Richards not helpful at all. Disgusted.

I needed new pulleys for my dishwasher. It felt like the door weighed 50 pounds. New pulleys were installed but by coincidence, somehow the latch was damaged. They came back to "fix" the latch and now the water leaks, the latch is even worse. Now the Parts are now longer in stock and I need a new machine. But the parts were not an issue when I was billed $280 for a repair. October 2014 and you wonder what type operation they are running.
The machine is old enough, so there is wiggle room on the problem being 100% PC repair people. But there was no water leak until the repair people showed up and started to fix one thing, and Break Two other parts!! Water leaks now and a damaged closing latch. As a kicker they wrote about a non-existent problem on my receipt. They came to fix the pulleys and they wrote "No Power" on the receipt. Total Bull. The Paramus (or Wayne) store gave me the name of someone to call in Long Island. Turns out they left the company years ago.

I called the P. C. Richard 800 number for service since I bought my Samsung Refrigerator 1-1/2 years ago and was under full warranty. The girl on the other end took my information and said someone would be in touch with me. Five hours later, I called the number again. This time I got a new person who had robotic questions and answers. She said someone would be in touch with me before the end of the day. She said they were trying to find someone to come out in my area. When I questioned her as to what would happen if they couldn't find someone, she said they would give me a new appliance. I was so baffled by her answer.
I paid $2,500.00 for the refrigerator, and I was sure the problem was just in the panel on the front of the refrigerator. Right then I knew I was in trouble. I decided to look online and googled my problem. Little did I know that others had my problem. They gave me some ideas on how to fix it and believe it or not it worked. When P. C. Richard called me back at the end of the day, they said I could have someone come out on Nov. 14th. How can I not have a refrigerator for 8 days. I told them to cancel the appointment that I fixed the problem myself!

I have been TRYING to have my LG Washer Dryer serviced for over a month now. After evaluating the machine, they told us they need the parts ordered. Since then, the excuses for not coming range from "I don't have the parts today" to "We need two men to do this job so we won't be coming." I have taken time off from work to wait for them, and wasted countless hours of my weekends to no avail. I am STILL waiting for someone just to call to reschedule the appointment for a 4th time and I am still without a washer/dryer. The communication and professionalism of this department is severely lacking. I cannot recommend purchasing anything through PC Richards after this horrible experience. If you do, you better hope you don't experience any technical problems...

After a year and half of service visits to fix my 2 year old Samsung refrigerator - I had to argue with them to replace the unit. They did - with a Whirlpool on Oct 4th. Delivery man jammed it in my doorway scraped fridge and door frame, busted the hose for the ice. 2 visits later - finally have ice but dispenser won't dispense now.

Having the most horrible service from PC Richard EVER!!! On 10/14 I called for service on a dishwasher under warranty. Earliest appointment available was Friday, 4 days later. Was given a window of between 2 - 5 pm. I called PC Richard at 5:10 because there was no tech, and no info given, and was told he is "probably" on the way. The technician finally shows up at 5:40. There is no apology from either the tech or the call center that the technician shows up 40 minutes late. The technician dropped his tools on the floor and saw there was an error code on the dishwasher. He called someone and was told (I heard both ends of the conversation on the speaker) there was a water channel that needed to be cleaned and that the part should be replaced. He got up to leave and was not telling me anything. I asked him what was going on and he told me the channel was a problem to clean and he did not want to do it. He said he was going to get the part ordered and would call in a week or so to set another appointment. I waited about 30 minutes and called the "Service Center" and was told the tech had not updated the call yet and I should call back the following day.
I called back in the afternoon the next day (Saturday) and was told the tech STILL had not updated the records. The rep told me they would check into it and call back. No call ever came. I call Monday morning and ask for a supervisor. I am told they are all busy with incoming calls (no surprise) and that someone would call back in 10 minutes. I called 30 minutes later and am told the tech still has not updated the records. The rep that told me I could talk to a supervisor was totally wrong. I should have been told I "might" be able to get a call from a supervisor late in the afternoon. There is nothing anyone can/will do to get this issue resolved in any expedited manner. It is just going to have to go through the steps to get resolved.
So at this point in time I am stuck with a broken dishwasher that is under warranty that I have absolutely no idea when or if it is going to be repaired. All I have from PC Richard is a bunch of pathetic cover ups and excuses. I feel very sad for anyone that listens to the store sales rep and pays for an extended warranty. Service within a regular warranty is dismal. I will not be buying from PC Richard again. I do not want to pay the money to get something and not be able to get it fixed in a timely manner or from what I am currently seeing, ever fixed.

I purchased a whirlpool refrigerator. This refrigerator has needed service more than 6 times. I purchased an extended service contract. I was hung up by their corporate off 7 time in one day (631 843-4300). I was then told that I should read the fine print from a Martha who was a supervisor for P.C richards. I told them I got an e-mail for a repair on Thursday 10/16/2014. I waited till about 11 am then call. They told me it was for Friday 10/17/2014. I have an email that states 10/16/2014. I was also told I would have an early appointment for Friday as my wife was in the hospital. It is currently noon on Friday and still no serviceman. I call again and was put on hold for 10 minutes then no answer.. I was told that I should be interested in my wife's health not the refrigerator. I am a 20 year customer of pc richards. I will not buy again from this company. I will do business with bestbuy from now on. I have spent 40,000 or more at pc richards over the years. The service sucks the customer service. Don't buy there, go to bestbuy. They're a better company.

On Thursday 10/9 I purchased a stove for delivery Saturday. I was to call Friday after 9pm to obtain my 3 hour window as directed. There was no answer and I called several times. I called customer service - they stated usually not in am but I continued to call number without success. Saturday at 9 am the delivery man called that he would be there in 20 minutes. I was not home - was in class. I explained the previous details and he said he would call back after 11am when I would be home. He never called. I called him 2 times - called customer service 2 times and the store 2 times - each time was unsuccessful in getting a status. I tried to cancel order by calling those same numbers and just got the run around and was put on perpetual hold. I sent emails to company with no response. As of 10/16 still no response and no refund.

Do not!!!! I repeat ... do not shop for appliances at PC Richards!!!!! I purchased 5000.00 plus worth of appliances in August 2014 for my newly renovated kitchen... hence, I am still awaiting as of October 2014 for my stove and oven to be delivered. They told me at the time of purchase all the appliances were available. Then their story changed to their store policy for delivery is 3 weeks. The situation is so bad the appliance manufacturer called me direct... gave me a one week arrival date... again. Hence today is October 11, 2014 and I am still awaiting the appliances.
My cabinets have been cut for the immediate arrival. But nooooo, no stove or oven so no kitchen for 2 months. Waiting on PC Richards delivery. Do not shop at PC Richards. Go to Best Buy or Lowe's. If my cabinets were not previously cut for those appliances I would have gotten my money back and went to Best Buy or Lowe's myself. I'm giving you fair warning!!!!! Do not shop at PC Richards, they are the worst. When I called the corporate office, the cust svc rep's first words were "Do you want your money back??" How professional. I said nooooo I want my appliances that were to be delivered 4-6 weeks ago. I pray this review helps someone else!!!
