Lenin, the manager was very professional and beyond helpful at all times, even with follow up questions and delivery info. Everyone in the store, especially the sales people like Mario were very informative and helpful. The selection and prices were great.

Brought my HP Printer in to try to resolve a printing problem. The young man who helped me was patient... and spent nearly an hour trying to figure out the problem with my printer. When he and the manager had come to the conclusion that there was a broken print mechanism causing the issue, he suddenly looked at the no. inside the printer which referenced the necessary cartridges and found that the new cartridge was the wrong no!! He saved me a lot of money... instead of having to buy a new printer, I just had to replace the cartridge that I had inserted. He was thorough, patient, and had a wonderful attitude, and even smiled at my bad jokes!!! He deserves a raise or a promotion, or both!!!

Went to the Bay Shore location and had a salesman named Joseph. He was excellent and had a lot of knowledge on the tv that I was purchasing making the process so much easier. He was very polite and professional. Because of my experience at the store this evening I plan on coming back to this same store at the Bay Shore location in the upcoming weeks to buy some items for the Christmas holiday. I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience I had purchasing my Samsung 50 inch smart tv. My sales associate, Mohammed, was just wonderful. Both he and his GM, Kyle, were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They made my shopping experience so positive and I would not hesitate to go back to see them to purchase other items. The absolute best combination of customer service, great advice and unbeatable prices. We buy all of our appliances at PC Richards. Do not waste your time looking elsewhere. Manager Mike ** sent a technician to fix our refrigerator and freezer which was leaking water in the house. Mike had the fridge and freezer repaired immediately. We always go to PC Richards because we trust Mike **. We have been regular customers for over 25 years now.

I was so very happy with Jayson ** at the Brick store. He pointed me in the right direction from the start of our visit and he even explained how they sold mattresses and grills and patio furniture and that when I was ready I can come back and make my purchase. I purchased all of my kitchen appliances and a tv and sound bar. I would recommend him to all my family and friends. He also answered all of my questions and really took the time to explain the products he was selling to us. Thank you so much Jayson and happy holidays!!

We stopped at P.C. Richard & Son on our way home just to see what kind of a deal we could get. Long story short, we got a great deal, the delivery guys were extremely helpful and courteous. I hear so many horror stories about how poor the service and response is from most companies. P.C. Richard & Son is definitely the exception! I have had some issues with my GE monogram refrigerator and the response and service is exceptional! I highly recommend to everyone that this is a company you can fully trust. I would never go anywhere else. I am just sorry that I have to buy appliances for my home in Florida and there is no P.C. Richard & Son to depend on!!

Tito had helped me with my major purchased for my kitchen and laundry. I was lost when I came in with what to buy and which brand. Tito was very supportive and patient with me and explained what to buy and which brand as well as why. I had purchased refrigerator, microwave, laundry machines, stove and dishwasher. This was a major purchased for me and wanted to do this right and one. My experience with Tito was excellent and recommend him to others as well. Thank you for your great service!

I had my dishwasher installed a week ago. The installer, William, did an excellent job with the installation. The next morning I realized the floor in front of the dishwasher was squeaking. I spoke with Kevin, the manager at the Norwalk store, and explained my problem. He arranged for the installer to return today and fix the floor. HE DID. NO MORE SQUEAKING!

Craig is always very helpful. I am a contractor and buy many appliances from PC Richards and Craig is an excellent salesman. He always goes above and beyond my expectations. He is very knowledgeable and courteous. He always helps with delivery times and dates. He also helps when I have any issues. If he cannot answer technical questions he provides me with the right contacts for the problem. All in all, I rarely go anywhere else.

Due to Richie's level of professionalism, not only I was able to address an issue that for an extended period of time remained unsolved, but I purchased additional items from PC Richard & Son. He is a great store manager. Prior to meeting him, I was determined to not have any further business with PC Richard, but he reversed my decision with demeanor, professional attitude and a humble approach. I was recently in P.C. Richard and purchased a numerous amount of items. The store was extremely clean and the employees were very helpful and extremely friendly, and courteous. I live in Woodbridge and go out of way to the Carteret location because of the friendly atmosphere and cleanliness, and great prices. I would highly recommend this store to everyone for a great shopping experience.

I visited the Southampton, NY store on December 4, 2016. I was helped by Chris ** to buy a laptop computer. He was extremely informative, very nice, polite, and easy to get along with. I would recommend friends seek him out to help them in their purchases mostly because he is easy-going and very patient and answers questions and appears knowledgeable. Wonderful place to shop. I never had a bad experience with P.C. Richards. The friendly staff make my trip to the Flatbush Ave. location worthwhile. They usually have most items in stock. The store is clean and I love the layout. It is not congested like other electronic stores. These guys know their merchandise.

My son introduced me to Joe ** several years ago and I have been driving 50 minutes to this location ever since. He has provided excellent customer service and professionalism. This time around he introduce my daughter and I to Sehun and Jeff who were outstanding as well. My husband went into P.C. Richard in Brooklyn to find a new washer and dryer; picked out the ones we want and wrote down the model numbers. Afterward that day I made a call over to them to make my purchase over the phone and dealt with Greg. Greg is a great employee... he helped me tremendously with purchasing a new washer and dryer, very patient and helpful, guided me through what I was purchasing and broke down all the details. I will absolutely purchase more things from this P.C. Richard's and deal with him for any of my home needs.

Great customer service. Sales counselor ** David helped me with every single thing that I need. He made sure everything was right and he made sure I got whatever I needed with no problem. My refrigerator died and I went to P.C. Richard for a replacement. I had something in mind but the sales associate Dave spend time with me to make sure I was getting what I really needed. He spent time with me to get the financing right, helping me make calls etc. Very professional. Scott went above and beyond helping me sort out the banking mess as my P.C. Richard card would not authorize the balance of the charge even though it was paid in full and had a credit for 1,000.00. My card is on hold for 10 days because I paid it???? Not a good business practice when you are buying something expensive. Scott was understanding and helped me resolve all issues (not I didn't use the P.C. Richard's card.) The store staff is exceptional.

I was in the West Carteret, NJ store today looking at portable washing machines and the service I received was exceptional! I was greeted with a smile when I walked in and about 5 minutes of looking around I was asked by Robbie if I needed help. He was very personable and courteous and wasn't pushy by any means. He was able to answer all of my questions and that actually was the deciding factor in me purchasing last night... I went into the store with only the intent to look around! Kudos to him for securing the sale!
While I was being rung up by Robbie he had to have a manager come over and enter a code... in most stores you wait forever for a manager to come but within 5 minutes of being paged he was there! He as well was very personable and actually made me laugh! Both Bobby and Robbie are definitely gems and PC Richards should be honored to have them! Their customer service is A+! I will most definitely be back for anymore purchases I may need and definitely refer my friends to go see them! Kudos to them!!!

I will never, ever shop at P.C. Richard & Son again as I cannot recall the last time I have been so thoroughly disgusted. If I was not in need of these appliances, I would have cancelled the order in its entirety. I was mislead, my time was taken for granted, P.C. Richard & Son's misrepresented themselves and when I expressed my extreme dissatisfaction, I was given platitudes. I purchased a washer/dryer that was scheduled for delivery 2 days later. I discussed my need for delivery early in the day because of a work schedule and subsequent appointment that I had later in the day. I was assured by my salesperson that it would be delivered before 1 PM. At no point, when I expressed that I needed it to be early in the day did the salesperson indicate that there was a possibility that that might not occur. The night before delivery I was told that my delivery was scheduled between the hours of 2 PM and 6 PM.
The salesperson claimed that he never guaranteed that delivery would be before 1. While he did not use the word "guarantee" he absolutely said nothing about the possibility that a before 1 PM delivery might not be possible at all, nor did he indicate what the other possibilities were. While I understood that I would need to be available between 7:30 and 1 PM as they could not narrow the window, I was NEVER told that it might in fact, be between the hours of 2 and 6. I then attempted to address this by speaking with the store manager who was dutifully apologetic but whose words and apologies I came to find out meant absolutely nothing. I was also mislead by him. He told me that my delivery would be at approximately 3:06 and that he would ensure that the driver would call me an hour before. When 2:06 arrived and I received no call, I phoned and spoke to their distribution center. Bottom line - no one cared.
The salesman did not care, the distribution center did not care, the manager, despite his words to the contrary, did not care. I am likely looking at a 6:00 delivery - the last one of the day. I am so thoroughly disgusted with this company who claims, on its brochures, to be reliable, to have an outstanding, family-based reputation etc. Outstanding and reliable service was nowhere to be found in my experience with this company. Customers who are given honest, accurate information upfront understand when things don't quite go as planned. But to leave that store with the clear and unequivocal understanding that delivery would be early in the day - and then to have it be essentially at the end of the day is inexcusable and no way to treat customers especially, as the manager repeatedly said, if you want to establish a loyal customer base.
I would never recommend this company to anyone. A company that cares is one that recognizes that a misrepresentation, whether inadvertent or intentional, requires addressing. They had an obligation to address this with the delivery manager - and they did not do this. A change in the delivery route given what occurred should have take place as a courtesy. Instead, P.C. Richard & Son bound themselves to some computer-based route that they essentially said was unalterable. Please - give me a break - when I think of the complexities of what legitimate dilemmas require - the fact that they can't, through common-sense and courtesy, adjust a route is laughable and pathetic.

Me and a co-worker came to P.C. Richard & Son today to each possibly buy a new TV. I have been there before, but my co-worker never was. We had the pleasure of being helped by Joe **. We told Joe exactly what we were looking for. He was great, helped us out, and we both walked out with 65" Samsung 8000 series TVs. I would definitely recommend dealing with Joe, and will be passing his name on to anyone I know interested in purchasing new electronics.

I had a remarkable experience at P.C. Richard's in Manchester yesterday. Mark ** was the sales representative and he was so knowledgeable, patient and left no stone unturned to make sure I chose just the right appliances for my kitchen do-over: fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. I had a terrible experience with PC Richard. Let me say-my family has used PC Richard for 15(+) years. So as a new homeowner we decided to go with PC Richard. We ordered a Samsung Washer & Dryer for our new house. We noticed that the washer was acting up. We made a service call and the person came and said to get a replacement because it could not be fixed. I contact customer service for a follow up as we needed to use our washer (we got tired of going to our parents/dry cleaners - I mean that is why we GOT a washer in the first place) and the woman was terrible. Unhelpful, rude and gave me an attitude. I call back a few days later, they said they would call me back - never did. I notice (WITHOUT ANY PHONE CALL) that our washer was being recalled.
Now we are going into middle of October when mind you we got our washer in September. I mean it was getting absurd at this point-we still don't have a washer, PC Richard kept directing us to Samsung although if YOU carry an item the store should be responsible for it. It is now end of November, we still don't have a washer and PC Richard keeps saying they'll deliver it and we keep having to call to get a date. At this point, go to best buy or someone else because honestly it's terrible and a waste of time and money. Quite frankly, if I were a store in this predicament I would give a credit or something.
I do apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused you. This issue with the recall is a major national issue that we do take seriously here at P.C. Richard. I do see as per your invoice that you have an exchange already in place. I will check with the manufacture to see if I can expedite P.C. Richard getting these units in stock. Again I do apologize for the inconvenience and I will be looking into this matter for you.

I have the most satisfying experience at PC Richard in Carteret, NJ. I received the utmost friendly service and willingness to please my needs as a customer. Bobby, the general manager was very understanding and accommodating. Bobby made everything possible so I can get the replacement to my refrigerator, and that I get it delivered in a timely matter. I went to the store yesterday and I got the refrigerator that I wanted delivered today. Bobby was so nice that he even shared his black olives with me, lol. Thank you PC Richard and most of all thank you Bobby. You are a great manager.

I just purchased a range and refrigerator at PC Richards in Manalapan, NJ. My salesman Bryan ** was a pleasure to work with. My initial meeting with Bryan was just to look, research and price. Bryan was knowledgeable, friendly, honest and humorous. After hearing why I had the need for a new range (fire), Bryan suggested and made the calls for me to my gas company. His concern that I may have a gas leak was genuine. I met with Bryan and his manager Ryan with competitive pricing. They beat the pricing and were able to offer me rebates as well. I highly recommend Bryan and PC Richards, Manalapan.

I had great service and the guys there helped me out so well. I called black friday night to get a tv on sale and the store manager named Curtis picked up and helped me out very well. I went to pick it up and saw you had a bigger tv and it was in a couple of dollars more and your salesperson named Henry was very helpful. I got a bigger better tv from him and he was fast and nice. I have been going to PC Richard for approximately 8 years and I have to say in my experience I have had nothing but great experiences and excellent customer service. I have had several sales people throughout the years in which all were nice but Manager Mike ** is not only a pleasure to talk to but cares about his customers and providing them with great customer service. I have recommended the store to many of my friends and family throughout the years and they also continue to shop at PC Richard not only because the prices are good but mostly because of the service received by Mr. ** and his staff.

I would like to point out that my comments relate only to the "Subject" and not to the purchase and installation of the Subzero refrigerator I purchased. I was very satisfied with the installation of the refrigerator which was a difficult job. I was not satisfied with the way the P.C. Richard warranty was handled. I was led to believe that the Subzero came with an additional 10 year warranty from P.C. Richard above what I would get from Subzero. I didn't realize that wasn't the case until I received my credit card receipt to sign. There was a charge of $699.99 plus CT Sales Tax of $44.45 on it for the P.C. Richard warranty. I was never told the details of Subzero's warranty to enable me to make an informed decision as to the need of the P.C. Richard's warranty. It wasn't until the Subzero was delivered and installed that I got a chance to see their warranty.
Once I reviewed Subzero's warranty I realized it was more than adequate for my needs and called P.C. Richard and cancelled their warranty, which has a 90 day cancellation period from purchase with a full refund. That was on Nov. 9th. I was told it might take a few days for the credit to be processed. It is now Nov. 24th and I have not received my credit for $744.44 or any explanation as to why it hasn't occurred. I phoned the Manchester, CT store on the 23rd and voiced my displeasure and asked for an explanation. No one has returned my call. This is unacceptable. I feel P.C. Richard could care less about me.
I would also point out that I had a similar problem receiving a refund credit of the $25.00 "site survey" I was due. I didn't receive that credit until 22 days after my payment and numerous (at least 4 phone calls) requests for it. After spending close to $11,000.00 in your store, and feeling totally ignored, it should be of little surprise, and probably concern, to you that I am a "very dissatisfied" and never again customer.

Manny our sales rep was very helpful, showing us TV's in our price range and TV stands that would work with both the TV and our room. He provided us with all the required cables as well. He was terrific. I liked the fact that he consulted with other salespeople in the store when he was unsure of a question I asked. Delivery was on time, as promised. Very good installers who were friendly and courteous. We are very happy with P.C. Richard!

If you are going to the P. C. Richard & Son located in West Carteret, NJ you are making the best decision in purchasing your appliances and electronics there. They have one of the best customer services I have seen thus far. The manager, Mr. ** is awesome at representing the P. C. Richard & Son outlet. I've shopped at this location since 2011 and always have a great experience. This past weekend I worked with John ** and everything went well... Both managers was also wonderful. I give the sales counselor and store a five. I will shop at this location again.

I ordered a tv and when I received it it had a defective screen. I ordered the same tv and when I got it it had the same kind of defect. The screen showed thin colored lines and black and white screen. Looked like internal damage to tv. This happened two times and it could have been ups damaging the tv but there was no visible damage and nothing loose in the tv.

I dealt with the store on 23rd St. in Manhattan. The salesman, Silvio was informed and communicative. He was helpful all the way through the transaction. It all went rather smoothly, and again Silvio was outstanding throughout and I would purchase from PC Richard again. They made it easy, and I can tell you I am in the middle of a renovation and I wish it was all as smooth as this. Thanks, and I will buy there again.

Me and my husband went into PC Richard to purchase a T.V. The sales person Charles helped tremendously with his knowledge of Televisions. He was great at explains the different TVs and helped us narrow down what tv to choose. He also explained the store's policy on return, etc. I would really recommend his sales expertise to anyone I know!

Needed a new stove, went to P.C. Richard Fri 11/18, employee pricing time and ordered stove. Hoped to get it within a week but sales person Keith made a call and delivery was made on Sun 11/20. The driver (forgot his name) and installer, Mike did a great job, very professional and efficient. Mike noticed that the pipes from wall and cut off needed replacement. I thought after all this I need a plumber but Mike said he could replace everything and for a small fee it was done. Mike was very professional and I felt very relieved and confident everything was done. Thanks again.

I purchased around 25K in all sorts of different appliances, tvs, etc items for a new house. Craig could not have been more helpful. I had a lot of issues with times due to delays etc but he kept rolling along with it. We also had some additions and returned items and there was never an issue. Lastly I felt that I got great recommendations from Craig. He never tried to SELL me items, just help with my needs. I can't see myself making another purchase without Craig's help.

Every time I go into the P.C. Richard & Son in Bay Shore, I have an amazing experience. Last night was much of the same!!!! My original salesperson no longer works there but when I called him he made sure to point me in the right direction to the guys that would best take care of me. The manager Brian and the salesperson Julio, made this the easiest buying experience that I had in a very long time. I would recommend this store and these two guys to all my friends and family.

Purchased an Electrolux Washer/Dryer combo. First my salesman, Jeffrey ** and the manager were absolutely wonderful, answered my myriad of questions (I had done a lot of homework before going to the store). They were extremely knowledgeable, anticipating all my concerns and calming any concerns I had. I am a very short woman so I was concerned with how high the dryer would be, after much measuring, the two of them just lifted the dryer and put it on the washer to let me get a feel for how it would be in my home! I was truly amazed at the customer service.
Also, I have a small area in a townhouse where they were to go but I wanted the largest set that the area would accommodate. They were meticulous with the measuring and when it was installed, it fit perfectly! And lastly, I needed some construction done before the installation, they were gracious to hold the machines until the work was completed, always reaching out every week or so assuring me I wasn't forgotten. They also suggested I open a P.C. Richard & Son charge card, which allows me to avoid interest charges if I pay it off in full in a year. All in all, it was one of the best experiences I've had with an appliance purchase.

I am so thrilled with my experience at PCR today. The Bay Shore location had a wonderful variety of microwaves that I had not seen at other locations. My salesperson Brian was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. He was able to answer all of my questions and was able to point out wonderful features that I wasn't aware of regarding the LG washer and dryer set I ended up purchasing. I definitely plan to come back to the Bay Shore location when I need to get additional appliances.

Got a phone call on delivery day 30 minutes before the truck arrived. The crew was courteous as well as outstanding, putting the appliances where we requested as well as removing cardboard packaging. We were very pleased with the manager, Brian, who helped us in the Bay Shore store. He was very patient with all our questions and went above and beyond to help us get the right dishwasher for the space we had. The installers were also very good and although they had trouble getting the very old one out, we are pleased with the work they did and that they were conscious of our floors and cabinets. Five stars isn't enough to describe my experience. I went in the store because I heard they were matching black Friday prices already. I went to the television section and was looking at a Samsung 50 inch 4k I wanted and saw was going to be 399.00 at Target black Friday. Gregory ** asked if I needed help. He explained the price match sale in detail and checked the Target website and the store stock with me. After discovering that it was a door buster and I'd have to be at the store midnight Friday I asked Gregory to show me more in my budget, every question I had was answered well and I made a decision on an lg 4k 55 inch and was thrilled with how informative, caring and patient Gregory was with me. Will only return to that store and see him for my electronic needs! The whole staff was excellent as well. The manager spoke with me at one point and was a gentleman as well as knowledgeable.

I want to let you know that my experience with purchasing my new appliances was an excellent one. I was in need of a Stove, Refrigerator, Dishwasher and Above Range Microwave. Cirilo was very informative at explaining to me about the quality and functionality of all the product and all the services pertaining to the products I purchased. He made me feel comfortable and confident of what choices I had made. I have used Cirilo recently to purchase a washer and dryer as well and other items in the past. On Aug 20, 2016 my daughter & I purchased a replacement refrigerator for her garage. On Sept 3 a tech was sent to her home for non cooling issues. I called & spoke with the salesman on Sept 7 who advised a kit (as the tech had advised) was not necessary for this refrigerator as it was made for being used in garages. On Nov 4th I spoke with the salesman again who put me in touch with Matt a manager. And on Nov 5th another tech came to check the refrigerator. On Nov 7th Matt said the refrigerator was a "lemon" with a "no cool" issue (2x's since purchase) and he would be looking into replacing the appliance.
On Sat Nov 12 the refrigerator was replaced. Matt was amazing through this whole process. He stayed in touch and followed up with calls to make sure this was a smooth process. Kudos to PC Richards for having Matt as their manager! He showed throughout this whole process that he cared about the outcome and that he wanted his PC Richards customer to be satisfied with their purchase. It was truly a pleasure working with him.

I ordered a television online to be picked up at the Flatbush Ave. store. A salesman, Lon, greeted me, and helped get my television. He also encouraged me to shop at the store, rather than simply order online, saying that he would be able to guide me to possibly better choices. I was very impressed with Lon's reasoning. He was extremely pleasant and unpressuring. I needed to purchase a refrigerator, and had intended to check one out at the store. He was extremely helpful, and guided me to a Whirlpool refrigerator, with freezer on the bottom. Sold! I also purchased the P.C. Richard extended warranty and applied for a P.C. Richard credit card, with no interest for the first year.
All of this was due to Lon, and I thank him and P.C. Richard for providing me with a fine product and outstanding service. I would never have received this attention if I had done this online. P.C. Richard will remain my appliance and electronics store. By the way, delivery was prompt and extremely courteous. A very satisfied customer.

My bedroom TV died and I could not sleep without it. Did some online reading and shopping to narrow down where to go to replace it. I made some phone calls to make sure removal of old TV could be taken care of. When I called PC Richard, Carlos there was so very helpful. He answered all of my inquiries, and within a short time had sold me the perfect TV for my room, and promised to bring it over within a couple of hours, install it, and take the old one. And he did. I went to Best Buy looking to purchase a specific washing machine. Sales people were incompetent, knew nothing about product and were not helpful at all. I decided to go to a PC Richard in Elwood NY. I was greeted at door by nice guy Hoss. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and knew everything about the different options and manufacturers. My mother, son and I went to P.C. Richard & Son located in Co-op City to purchase 2 computers - Apple Mac and a Dell. From the very beginning our Customer Service Rep, Nana, was awesome. This gentleman knew every detail about the products we were considering purchasing and was very patient throughout the process. He was informed and also took his time to explain the benefits and features of both computers. It was by far one of the best experiences I've ever had at PC Richard & Son. Nana deserves a promotion!

Two years after purchased a kitchen and laundry room full of appliances, my Samsung washing machine flooded my pantry hardwood floor. Thankfully I caught it before the wood began to warp. I have two years left on the extended warranty that I purchased at the time of sale (Big mistake). I called PC Richard service department on Oct 10, only to be told that they could not send someone for a week. So a week later, the 3rd party company - Dependable Appliance Repair, came on Oct. 17. They said I need a new gasket and would have to order it. The technician said I should hear back in a few days to set up an appointment to install the part.
Well, today, two weeks later (three weeks from my original call to PC Richard service Dept.), I called Dependable Appliance and was told that the part will be in Thursday or Friday and they would schedule a service call for next Monday. When I asked why this is such a long delay for a simple part, I was very rudely told "that's just how long it takes". I called PC Richard and asked if there were anything they could do. They said they couldn't do anything to expedite the service call, but they would be happy to give me a $25 PC Richard Gift Card. I told him that doesn't even come close to the cost of laundromats for a family of six, not to mention the inconvenience and frustration of having to go to the laundromat every other day for the past three weeks and now for yet another week! It would have been more cost effective, not to mention time effective, had I never purchased the extended warranty, and just paid out of pocket for the repair.
I do understand that things happen, that perhaps the part was back ordered (although a common part carried by hundreds of distributors), but the way in which I was treated by PC Richard and their "3rd party repair company", was rude, unprofessional and downright frustrating. After many years of spending tens of thousands of dollars at PC Richard, it is obvious that they do not care at all about satisfying a loyal customer. Rather the contrary - 4 weeks to repair a two year old washing machine with a commonly used part, is unacceptable. My loyalties are no longer with this store and I will let everyone know why. They have not only lost me as a customer but my family and extended family as well!

It was a difficult job because the original appliances had been incorrectly installed and required considerable additional work--which they did without any complaint. I give them a five star review!

I had spoken to the sales counselor the evening before. I explained the tv I was interested in and he checked the availability. He said it would not be available until Monday if I ordered it on Friday, 10/14. This was fine with me. When I arrived at the store, I met with Gregory **. He was very courteous & helpful and we reviewed the various attributes of the tv. I completed the purchase with the agreement to pick it up on Monday, 10/17/16.

Harry & Justin delivered our new GE refrigerator this morning. At first, Harry phoned me and told me he'd be here in 10 minutes and sure enough, they were here in exactly that. They gingerly manipulated the fridge under a chandelier and through a door, which Harry patiently removed. I asked them for time before entering with the new fridge as the floor beneath the old one hadn't seen light of day for more than 20 years and needed much cleaning, and was told, "No problem, take your time." Both were extremely efficient, affable, professional and careful. Highly recommend their services!

BUYER BEWARE!! Do not buy anything here. We bought appliances in July 13, 2016. Dryer broke on October 10, 2016. Called right after it happened. They could not come out till October 4. Tech said they need to order part 3 - 5 days. Today October 10, 2016 STILL NO DRYER NOR ANY HOPE OF IT BEING FIXED!! Family of 4 without a dryer is a NIGHTMARE and they do not care only crickets at the end of the phone line. Poor business practice! Still waiting.

We were very fortunate to have two knowledgeable young men to install our appliances and give us advice. The combo wouldn't fit in the space, so we returned it for another model. We also had to upgrade the stove installment. Everything turned out well, but I wish manufacturers wouldn't change specs every 5 years. People can't afford to redo their entire kitchens so often.

So, my wife and I needed to purchase a new stove and hood for our kitchen and after some discussion decided to make our first stop at PC RICHARD's in New Jersey. We were approached by a very knowledgeable young man by the name of Richard **, who guided us to the exact make and model we were looking for. He informed us that we would need a shut off valve on the gas stove and if one was not there, the installers could do it for a price. I told him I wasn't sure if there was a valve and so he included that expense in the overall bill.
When the fellows came to do the installation, they found that indeed there was one and so I called the company to see if I could get a refund. A very nice Woman took my number and the following evening I received a call from Richard who checked with the warehouse and deducted the cost of the valve and even found me an extra discount. He was also very kind in changing my order from an outside venting hood to a recirculating one before it was delivered. All this to say that if you're looking for any kitchen appliances, check out PC Richard and ask for Richard. He is a no pressure kind of guy with an easy style and made the shopping experience painless and pleasurable.

I called Joe, the manager of the store on Francis Lewis Blvd in Bayside & told him I needed a new set delivered. He sent 2 wonderful employees that night after the store closed with the TV!! I bought a Dell laptop at PC Richards at Deer Park, NY on 8/14/16. I didn't know that before. I used to buy thing from P.C. Richards all the times. But that's what happened to me this time. I bought a Dell laptop on August 14th. After I connected my new laptop, after sometime the screen start blinking and the rainbow colors appeared on a screen. The screen became shaky and unstable. After a few minutes, the screen went blank. I called the store and I asked them about their return policy. I asked them if I can return the defective laptop. I was answered that they have a zero day return policy for laptops. Zero days. So, you open your package, your laptop is not working. That's it. You cannot return it. Even if you do it right away. Why wasn't I told about it? I had no clue about this zero-days return policy.
I went to P.C. Richards next to my house in Manhattan and they sent it to service. Why do I want a computer that is defective from the start? Who knows what is going to happen after they repair it? I guess, nothing good. Meanwhile, I have no computer. I have to wait for P.C. Richards to contact me and tell me what's wrong with this laptop. Don't ever buy thing from P.C. Richards! They have the worst customer service imaginable! I'm going to complain about it, I just wanted people to know about my experience! I would like to have a refund for the this laptop. The receipt includes two purchases (it was paid by my friend's credit card). My laptop is for $429.

My new Whirlpool dryer was delivered this morning and the delivery and installation could not have gone better. The truck arrived by 8 a.m. and installation was complete by 8:40. I bought a dryer with a steam option so there was plumbing involved in addition to the gas hook-up. The delivery men were pleasant, friendly, and extremely competent. The doorway to the laundry room is narrow and there wasn't any room to spare but the dryer was brought in with no problem. One of my best delivery experiences in 29 years of owning the home!

We have been having some issues with both our refrigerator and our dishwasher that we had bought about a year ago. We also purchased an extended warranty to protect these appliances. My father had called to schedule an appointment for them to come out, and unfortunately we had to reschedule. So when we rescheduled, I had to take the day off to wait for the service man to come.
When they scheduled our appointment, for the second time, they told my father that he would have to wait for a call between 8:30-9:00am, and when no one called he called them to only be told that they do not service our area... a town that is only about 25 minutes from one of their stores. We have been without our dishwasher for three weeks, and the refrigerator has been making strange sounds. How can this company say "we service all our appliances" when clearly they do not. What is a warranty good for when we can't even get our appliances fixed?

I had the BEST experience and customer service from a sales rep by the name of TJ in the Wayne, NJ location. He was here to help from the Eatontown, NJ store for the Tent Sale. I've never had a rep go above and beyond for a TENT Sale product. Not only was he knowledgeable about the products, but didn't push his way to make a sale. He even went through a stack of pedestals without labels to find if one would go with my washer. Sure enough, the very last one on the bottom. He saved me so much money by taking his valuable time that he could have helped other potential customers. I am very thankful and will continue to use TJ as my sales rep at P.C. Richard.

Having said this, the factors that ultimately led us to purchase our new refrigerator at P.C. Richard were: the professionalism and courtesy of our sales rep (Isaiah), the variety of refrigerators available and Isaiah's thorough product knowledge, especially his ability to outline the differences between them; this helped us decide which one would best suit us. The purchase went easily because I knew beforehand what I wanted. The salesman was polite and helpful. The delivery was scheduled for Tuesday, September 20th. I had to call Monday the night before to learn my delivery time. I called after 9 PM and there was no answer. I finally clicked on the link in the email which told me the estimated time was between 11:30 am and 2:30 pm. As the time got closer and no delivery I re-checked the link and now it's 1:45 to 4:45. I need to have it delivered no later than 5 in my building (rules).
I call the store, my salesman is off today. Will have to check, put 8th hold, but no answer. Call again a few minutes later Valerie answered and was very helpful. She would call dispatcher and someone should call me. No call, called back, got Valerie. She would call them again. In interim time changed again to 2:15 - 5:15. Valerie had suggested if I have to call again to speak with a manager. Jason told me delivery would definitely be before 5PM. It did come but with only a few minutes to spare. I wasted an entire day waiting for a delivery.
I understand that things happen. But no one contacted me by phone, email or text to let me know what was happening. If I hadn't been proactive I would not have known anything. There are certainly enough means of communication available to not have this happen. If I had known about the many hours delay I could have reorganized my day. VERY DISAPPOINTING! Also nobody mentioned that refrigerator should remain empty for 2 hours. Would have made arrangements to store food elsewhere.

I have spent two months dealing with another "big name" online mattress retailer (Sl**py's/Mattress F*rm) and it has been an utter disaster. Three missed deliveries for a mattress exchange and the worst customer service ever. Finally, I was able to get them to come and get the mattress I wasn't happy with and get them to refund the exorbitant cost of a King mattress.
Then, I went to P.C. Richard. I knew what I wanted, so perhaps I made it easy, but Tony at the Enfield, CT store made purchasing a mattress so darn easy that I can't believe I ever looked online in the first place. I found a great Sealy mattress at an amazing sale price...a mattress that I could lie on and test out before committing (big reason not to shop online for a mattress) and I wasn't rushed...no hard sell. I even got the box springs for free (sale promotion) and the best part...everything was delivered and set up the next day...the next morning, to be exact.
We are thrilled with the new mattress and I couldn't be happier with the customer service. Got a verification call the night before delivery (the same night I purchased the mattress!) and in the morning we received an estimated delivery time (bed was delivered within 15 minutes of that estimate). Pretty much perfect.I spent almost half of what I did with the online giant...it wasn't even about price, but I got an amazing deal and customer service that was top notch. I highly recommend P.C. Richard...go in and see Tony (or your local salesperson) and take your time. You won't be rushed and the service is phenomenal. Thanks for a happy ending to this mattress-shopping saga!

I bought a Whirlpool refrigerator from PC Richard and an extended warranty. It has needed service approx 6-8 times over a few years. The freezer freezes over and the top part gets warm. It happens over and over. We have thrown away so much food. At first they sent technicians with no knowledge at all. Three months ago they changed a part and assured us this was the problem. Last week it happened again. The freezer food was hard as a rock and the refrigerator was warm. Again, food thrown away. I have asked for a supervisor to call me on numerous occasions. No one ever calls back. The appliance needs to be replaced. I keep taking time off work. Apparently the technician call today could only done during business hours. I need a new refrigerator. It is a lemon. Horrible customer service.

I purchased a GE GTWN2800D2WW (serial # LF105371G) in June of 2015 from PC Richard & Sons. It worked wonderfully... for only 5 months until December, when drum came loose & needed to be replaced. The repairman said it was a flaw in the manufacturing process, a screw was not tightened properly in production, causing it to vibrate loose. A new drum was ordered & replaced, but never worked properly since! Repair service came out 5 more times because the clothes would not wring out properly leaving them soaking wet. And every time the repairman gave us a different reason: don't mix towels with lightweight clothes, use the power spin option only, don't use the extra-large load size, blah, blah, blah!
I was told by both PC Richard & Sons and GE that after 5 repair calls, that involved parts they would replace the machine. After that 5th time, they denied the claim! Finally in June 2016, (the 6th repair call) a repair guy it was the detergent pods that was causing the problem and there were many complaints about this. They cause suds to be trapped inside the drum thus leading to a water build up that left the clothes soaking wet. We stopped using the pods and that did the trick, it worked fine... for 3 months! Now the same symptoms, soaking wet clothes. This time the machine needs a new pump! Seven repair calls within 15 months! Shame on you GE and PC Richard for selling inferior products, deceiving customers and not standing by your products and claims.

I knew I needed a new computer because after 8 years, I guess, mine is running pretty slowly loading all the media that sites have now. Murat was sure to look at the RAM capabilities, and then the storage, the process speed and the number of USB ports, how the monitor worked, etc. etc. Things have changed so much in the last 8 years, there are new things, new ways of doing old things, etc. and Murat was knowledgeable about all of it. I felt in really good hands. And his suggestion of buying an HD Tv instead of a monitor (for the same price) was genius. He also explained the technical help line I signed up for so I know I can call them and what they'll do for me to set up the new system. Fantastic. I'm old and this stuff scares me, actually... I always assume something's going to go horribly wrong. But it's really good to know there's help at the end of the phone line!

All of our kitchen appliances are from P. C. Richard & Son – but as important as the appliance is the care and service provided by your tech (Alex from PA – I’m sorry, I don't have his last name). Today, Alex saved the day by repairing our Samsung RFG293HARS. I returned home from the hospital yesterday to find my Samsung in the midst of a meltdown! I called your service center, spoke to Arlene, and she assured me that she would have a tech here by this morning and she did and she assigned your best tech!!! Whenever Alex is assigned the service call, he is a signature tech! He always diagnoses, repairs, and completes the job efficiently and effectively, and through previous experience, we have faith that it is done well. We have had other techs with mediocre results; but Alex's work is always exceptional, and he has never had to return to revise the repair.
He takes pride in his work, and even recommends appropriate cleaning materials and methods to keep the appliances at their best. He is calm and positive, and transfers that feeling about product serviced. We just wish that we could request Alex from PA whenever our appliances are in need of service!! Techs like Alex keep us loyal to P. C. Richard & Son!

We have also been amazed at the polite and accurate service if we call with a question especially about electronics. Recently we were asked to buy a refrigerator for a 102 year old friend who had not had a new one in decades and is still living on his own. Once again you folks came to the rescue. So when we decided to a new mattress on Labor day we decided to give PC a chance. We could not have had better service anywhere. The service was prompt but not pushy. The associate was helpful and knowledgeable even though he covers many areas. He took his time with us and at one point we even had a round table discussion with him and other customers. As far as delivery time, they were to their word and arrived exactly at the time they said they would. The one delivery person was able to remove my old refrigerator without issue especially since I was concerned it was too big to get out of the kitchen. What I did not like was that once the new refrigerator was in the door and plugged in, they were ready to leave. They handed me the receipt expecting me to sign before I even got a chance to look over the refrigerator. I ignored their request and asked them if they could put the handle on the bottom freezer and they insisted it didn't have one.
I purchased this refrigerator specifically for the bottom freezer and right hand door so they opened the freezer, found the handle and put it on. I then had to ask if they could set the balance as the refrigerator was tilting back and forth every time they opened the door. I was disappointed I even had to ask them to fix this. I would think this would be something they would automatically address. Lastly, the shelves. Only after everything I asked them to do they figured they would do the shelves too. Although everything worked out and delivery went smoothly, I don't think customer service is their number one priority.

Being in the customer service business I know what good service is, and I definitely know what GREAT service is. I walked into PC Richards today needing to purchase displays (TV's) for my call center. Marvin immediately suggested what products would be the best for me. He conferred and confirmed his solution with his team member Jermaine. Less than 20 minutes after I entered the store - I made my purchase and was on my way. The service and professionalism of these 2 men was exemplary. I would be remised if I didn't spread the word. Have a question about electronics, large or small, or any of the other products PC's sell - go see Mavin and Jermaine in the Co-Op city store and 'I'm sure you will be happy. These guys were simply outstanding and I wanted to take time out to personally thank and commend them.

I have been purchasing appliances at PC Richard, Deer Park, NY, for over 24 years and will continue to only buy from them. Not only are their salesmen, namely Scott, Edwin, and Tony, pleasant to deal with, they are also knowledgeable, patient, and above all fair. Making suggestions regarding the right products for our needs, and offering unbeatable prices. I must also extend my compliments to Anthony from their Service Department. He is conscientious, well trained, neat and detail oriented. I trust him in my home and love the fact that he takes his work very seriously. I would highly recommend PC Richard for all your household needs.

I recently purchased a Samsung washing machine from your store in Babylon, N.Y. The manager of the store Mark **, saw me walk in and was right there to help me. He showed me the different types of washing machines, and gave great customer service. I have been to many stores to purchase products but I have never had the customer service that Mark gave. Your company is very fortunate to have such a great person working for you.

I bought a remote for my new T.V. I checked with LG and they said it would work with my TV. After getting the remote it did not work and after a long conversation with LG they found out it was not compatible. The folks at P.C. Richard were super friendly, helpful, courteous and took care of the return. Very, very please and I know where I will get my electronics in the future!

We are remodeling the kitchen in our new home and went to P.C. Richard at 136-03 20th Ave, College Point, NY. I cannot speak highly enough about the excellent service my wife and I received from ** and **. They asked our budget and worked within it. The refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher shown to us was exactly what we were looking for. ** was extremely helpful in coordinating our delivery. The sales counselor Mr. ** went out of his to way to locate the Frigidaire air conditioner that was outstanding work. To me there is no rating for that and before Mr. ** help me I was getting the runaround from the other representatives. I guess there are still people out there who still care about the customer and not just number.

Kitchen appliances - Scott was very helpful in helping us find everything we needed for our new home. He had a lot of knowledge when it came to the appliances and their uses. He helped us out with measurements and recommended different things if we made a bad choice. I had a very pleasant experience and ended up buying 4 appliances thanks to his help.
