    Glasses came super fast and at a fraction of the price of what I bought at a local store. I ordered glasses two days before I found this website. I had my glasses from Zenni two days after I ordered them. It took my glasses from the store almost three weeks and cost 3x more. I wish I could try them on first. Then I found out you can get glasses shipped to try on. It is a pretty good deal.

    LOVE the glasses!! This is the 3rd pair of glasses I've purchased from Zenni and like the others, I'm loving these! Besides being very pretty, they are very lightweight and comfortable! The style of glasses are flattering to my face shape and can pair with pretty much any outfit. I'm considering buying them in other colors!

    Zenni gave me my life back. I can see again. And I think they can do the same for you. I had ordered glasses through my insurance and they recommended using Target optical. But the prescription I received was wrong. While still sitting in the office, I told the doctor that, but was told I didn't know and to try the prescription.

    I wound up with glasses I could not use. I cried the day I received my glasses. I could not read on my phone, prescription medication labels, and paying my bills was impossible. I spent 3 months complaining to my insurance and Target optical and got no where. I had given up when I accidentally took my medication wrong and scared myself to death. I decided I could not wait until year’s end to try to get glasses. I read all over the web to find an online optical where I could try to have glasses made that were useful. Happily, Zenni had the best reviews.

    And they deserved them. They took what I said and helped me order what I needed. I am sure they thought I was a pain in the neck but they gave me the necessary time and I placed my order. I was terrified I would again be disappointed. I wasn't. They used my prescription wisely and had a different measurement that was helpful. One can order glasses meant for excellent driving, or glasses that correct sell for reading. They have a middle option as well.

    I can read again like I haven't been able to in years. The progressive lens are perfect after just a couple of days adjusting to them. The lens coatings also added to the glasses. And the frame options are stylish and has something for everyone! Decent quality too. If one orders carefully and makes certain you can give them all of the measurements you need, I think you will be as pleased as I am.

    Zenni Optical has a very nice selection of frames to choose from. I chose an aviator style for myself with the night driving lenses. I really like the glasses I purchased. The lenses aren’t like most lenses found in night driving glasses. Instead of a very yellow tinted lens, these lenses are more clear. There is a very slight yellow tinted lens but if you didn’t know that you wouldn’t know. I would recommend these glasses for anyone looking for a good set of night driving glasses.

    I don’t know where to start! I had been going to Cohen Optical for years for my exams and glasses. They are thorough and their products are well made and beautiful. Customer service is also notable. However, since getting progressives the price skyrocketed and became restrictive. I was interested in Warby Parker because of the pricing and quality but Zenni kept beating those criteria time and again. The selection and quality of the product changed my mind and I decided to purchase. Best decision I ever made. The website is easily navigated and intuitive and the product is top notch. Stylish and well made, the glasses exceeded my expectations in every way. The options are great and the smudge proof coating and blue light protection are priceless. Do not hesitate to purchase from Zenni. So impressed.

    I have ordered from them before and was generally happy. But this time, I wasted my time twice by picking a frame, inputting my script, selecting the lenses and options, only to have it remove my entire order from the cart because it the frame is out of stock. Why in the hell if it is out of stock it would be selectable?!? Waste of time.

    They LIE about 24/7 online chat/customer support. When you click the link, it shows: javascript:void(0) which means they intentionally set it up to ignore clicks. Programmers will know what I'm talking about. Such a nasty way of doing business.

    The first time I bought glasses from Zenni everything was great even though they got lost in the mail. However the second time was a horrible customer service. They sent me two pair of glasses with the wrong prescription. I put them on and almost wrecked my car because I could not see the cars in front of me. They should be sued!!!

    Shopping for glasses was a very easy process in Zenni Optical, my husband is a very pleased with his glasses after sending the first pair back because he needed an updated prescription, that process was handled beautifully by Zenni as well!     The ordering process is relatively simple and quick, but the product itself is subpar, and replacement foams and parts are not available. Look elsewhere. The Green Z87.1 Safety Glasses #** I purchased lasted about 90 days before the foam that provided padding against your brow started peeling off. The glasses are now uncomfortable to wear. The customer service representative offered me 10% off my next order as a resolution. I will find something somewhere else that hopefully will last longer than 90 days.

    Bait and switch scam. They tell you that you use promo code FIRSTAPP to get 15% off if you download their app, you click on it, and it takes you directly to download the app, then only after you have downloaded the app then you see that you have to spend a certain amount to get that discount. Yes, bait and switch is illegal under federal and state laws, as it is considered an unfair or deceptive trade practice and a form of false advertising.

    I have ordered from Zenni for a number of years and have always been satisfied. However, I recently ordered a pair that was the wrong prescription. I realized I had put a - sign instead of the + sign on the prescription. I sent the glasses back, and ordered another pair with the corrected prescription. When that pair arrived, it was also the wrong prescription. Three times the charm, right? Wrong! Third pair still not the right prescription. I asked for a refund from each wrong order. They refused to reimburse me for the shipping and "handling" charge. That means I lost $9 from each return, a total of $27. I am out more than I paid for the glasses. I will never use zenni again!

    So upsetting with Zenni Optical; 2 times now and I have to return, they cannot get the progressives right and returning again; they keep putting the wrong prescription number on the glasses. My doctor is telling me it is because they don't have measurements and doing progressive online does not work. I don't think that is the issue; it is the person overseas messing up in manufacturing. Long story short; now I have to return again and now getting them in a store. Don't trust to do this again and it come back wrong 3 weeks later. I will give a 2 star since they do let you return within 14 days for full refund to card.

    I placed an order for prescription glasses and paid extra for “Overnight” shipping because I currently have no functional glasses. The company’s website lists the shipping method as “Overnight (Estimated delivery in 1–4 business days),” which is inherently deceptive — “overnight” and “1–4 business days” are contradictory. This clearly violates the reasonable expectation of overnight delivery and misrepresents the service customers are paying a premium for. Charging extra for a service labeled “overnight” that can legally extend to four business days is misleading, unethical, and potentially illegal under consumer protection standards.

    I have tried several times to purchase through Zenni. I was totally unhappy. All of the glasses are unisex. The plastic frames are thick and bulky and heavier than expected. I return window is very short. You barely have time to see if you even like them before you need to return. There is no button for returns. You have to contact via customer service. Then they email you and ask what the problem is. If you want a return they send you a code and you need to repackage and fine a location that accepts. (The returns were free). Because the return was received outside of their 14 day window for return I got stuck with a store credit.

    The next year I tried again, I ordered 2 pairs. Even with their sized the glasses were too big and bulky. Nothing feminine about them. I kept them as back ups only because I had store credit. I tried at an independent company to get the lenses changed and they wouldn't touch them. They said they break too easily. I still have a credit. I ordered a 3 pair. The fit was just not right. So I returned again. They will never give me my money back so I am out $40ish dollars. Go in person, you will be happier. All of the receipts have my name on them so I will not provide for safety.

    The anti reflective quality does not exist as very visble flashes of light appear at the corner of the lenses. The vision quality is poor. My prescription was for a PD of 66, which is for distance. The clarity of the lenses was poor and worsened beyond 5 feet. None of my other eyeglasses have this problem. Their customer service told me their prescription is within their limits of acceptable to them, but failing for me. I had ordered their more expensive version with blue light protection. Beware and stay away!!

    First, the speed of Zenni’s turnaround for my order was great - less than a week. When my glasses arrived, I loved them. I’m impressed with the quality of my progressive lenses - no fishbowl effect. I sadly purchased transition lenses. On their website, when the page appeared to add the transition lenses to my order, an embedded video showed the lenses transitioning from clear to dark and back to clear. I thought, "Great!. Let's do it!"

    My new glasses were clear indoors and darkened when I went outside, as they are designed to do. But after a couple of months, I began to notice a difference. The entire photochromic spectrum began to darken. They were much darker in UV light and took a much longer time to lighten when I came indoors. It has gotten so bad that it’s literally like looking through welder's goggles when I come in from outside, and it 5 - 10 minutes for the lenses to lighten up. My livelihood demands that I go into a number of offices each day. Now, when I go indoors, and someone says "Hello," I have to remove these glasses to see where the person is. Additionally, they never return to being as light as they were. They only return to a medium gray tint while inside. This makes night driving a bit scary. It's annoying as hell.

    This is where my Zenni experience dropped from five stars to one star. I explained my situation to several people and sent photos of the glasses, both indoors and under UV light. They admitted that certain environmental factors could indeed be causing this, and I could return them and they would test the lenses. However, the testing process typically takes around two weeks. What? And they can make and ship glasses within a week? Whatever. Add shipping times, and we're looking at three weeks. I told them, “The problem is, other than the long turnaround, is that you will have no reference point of how these lenses reacted when they were new.” Crickets. I explained that I had lost my glasses, so that's why I ordered this pair from Zenni.

    To reduce the three-week turnaround time - and add ANOTHER week for new glasses to be made and shipped - I asked if I could send them back for an exchange with clear lenses. Nope. It would have to be the same transition lenses. Why would I want these again? They were 1000% unyielding on everything. So, I'm stuck with welder's goggles and will have to purchase new glasses, but they sure won’t be from Zenni. Just know that if you have a defect issue and it falls outside of their HOLY return period, you are royally screwed. Look, it’s not the inexpensive $250.00 glasses. It's the principle, inconvenience, and their indelible hard-assed attitude that warrant my one-star review. - AB

    It was extremely easy to select the correct size frames, choose the styles I wanted using the 'try on' option, pick the types of lenses I preferred with the coatings I wanted, and to enter the prescriptions for both me and my husband. It only took 9 days for my glasses to arrive after ordering them. The frames are good quality and fit perfectly, the lenses are perfect, and the bifocals are in the correct placement. I am now going to order sunglasses for myself and progressives for my husband. The total cost of two pairs of glasses through Zenni is only 1/6th of only one pair from our eye clinic!!

    I made a repurchase for a pair of glasses. The first glasses were well made with no issues. The second pair were made with the prescription backwards. Instead of fixing their mistake problem customer service kept trying to argue that the glasses were perfectly made and kept trying to send me the same exact pair of glasses back. From the first day I contacted them on the issue I told them specifically that the lenses had to be remade due to the prescription being backwards.

    The prescription was entered correctly, even then confirmed it. Yet, they refused to fix their mistake problem correctly, continuing to repeat the same option of sending the same pair back to me. It wasn’t until I raised my voice that they offered to request the lenses to be remade. However, now I am still here waiting to see if it gets approved to be remade. Very disappointed with the way this issue is being handled. I don’t understand why you have to raise your voice in order for them to offer to even put a “request” in to see if they can have the lenses remade.

    I have been using Zenni for my family and myself for years. Where the prices for progressive bifocals and polarizing for sunglasses has gone up I still say it is the best way to go for multiple glasses. Usually very quick turn around time for the glasses.

    They made the glasses absolutely wrong with the wrong prescription in them and took over a month for them to do the inspection. Then at the end of it after talking to several people that said they would work with me to get the problems fixed (even a supervisor on the phone) they told me there was nothing they could do and told me I would just have to reorder them which would take an additional two weeks and still have the same issues of not being able to use them. Mind you I ordered these a month ago. It was most confusing horrible experience with this company and all I wanted was my glasses that I could use. Instead I wasted over a month and was very disappointed as I was looking forward to a good glasses company.

    This is a great company! I ordered prescription sunglasses and they were perfect! However, the story was a bit different when I ordered my bifocals. When they came in, I immediately noticed something wasn't correct in the right lens. I contacted Zenni, and their customer service rep. (Jay) was polite and gave me instructions for a return, which cost me nothing. Later I heard from another CS rep. (Paul) and was told I could have a remake of my glasses, free of charge. I had already ordered a 2nd pair of bifocals from Zenni, so instead of a remake replacement, Paul offered me a refund on the cc I'd used! WOW! Hard to find honesty and integrity in an online company (or any company) that can match Zenni these days! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

    Absolutely awful customer service, and their supervisor? That's a joke. Just hope the order arrives in good condition; otherwise, you will most likely have to return and speak with an incapable customer support representative and supervisor. It's incredibly disheartening to learn that this firm does not actually work to aid consumers by guaranteeing that any difficulties with any order are resolved immediately, rather than 15 days later. Not good.

    I have been a customer of Zenni for years. The frame after one week’s wear broke. I reached out to customer service to have them replace. The second pair, order ** broke again after the first day. After I asked to do another pair, they would only give store credit with no option of a refund. It was truly disheartening to have to send back this pair of glasses through the mail, Wait to get store credit, before I can order again. Then have to wait until they prepared another set, like it’s the customer’s fault. This was a pair for my mother in law, who is in need of her glasses. So disappointing…. I will be using another site for now on. Sad!

    Customer Service was so helpful to make sure what I was ordering was actually what I needed! I entered my prescription wrong..not once but twice!!- And they were on it to make sure I got the glasses I needed. I wear contact 90% of the day and had not had new glasses in more than five years- Got my new pair last night and LOVE how well they look and how much better I see with the new prescription. My old pair had to sit way out on my nose for me to be able to see up close - I finally bit the bullet and got multi focal lenses and I'm so glad I did! I've heard of people paying hundreds of dollars for multi-focal lenses- These cost me less than $125 and once I got everything right I had them in less than a week!

    Complete Scam. Order never came in the mail, ordered rush shipping and it took 7 days. Customer service refuses to give and refund or help at all whatsoever, very rude. I would NOT recommend buying here. Just shop Eyebuydirect, much cheaper and more reliable. Zenni is an absolute scam and your glasses may never come. I hope others do not have my experience.

    This review is in reference to one specific Zenni Escalation Team Member. We were in contact with Camille B. In the beginning she was dynamic. She answered all of our questions. We placed our initial order. We received the order which went wonderfully. We place a second order and found we had some questions, tried to contact Camille again with no response. Someone else answered the question. We place the order received it and we have an issue with one of the glasses we ordered. Tried to contact Camille again. NO response again. She lacks follow through. We may not order from Zenni again due to this reason. We will not be referring friends and family again.

    I broke my glasses. I ordered 3 pair from here due to the speediness of getting them. What a joke. My glasses are not correct and I can not see out of the right lens and I was told to return and get a store credit. Um nope, I'm out money cause I'm never shopping here again. At least offer to correct the issue instead of me yet again going without glasses. Instead was given false info when I ordered them. Huge waste of time. Very disappointed. Won't be shopping again.

    The price was great, but unfortunately, you get what you pay for. When I got my eye exam, the prescription seemed spot-on. But once I received the glasses, my eyes immediately felt strained and uncomfortable. I sent them back for inspection, and they claimed everything was fine — just that I needed time to adjust. Well, months later, I still can't wear them for more than a few minutes without eye pain, which is a huge problem since I study for long hours every day. The discomfort has seriously set me back. I’ve finally gone back to wearing my old prescription just to get through the day. At this point, I’ll need to return to my eye doctor, bring these glasses with me, and re-order them properly. Save yourself the headache (literally) — this isn’t worth the money.

    Horrible! I purchased my frames and lenses this January, month later, lens fell out. Ok no big deal, took to my optician, got new screw. Month later same thing, next month, same thing!! Now this is 4th time lenses fell out! Zenni refuses to help! I have progressive glaucoma and desperately need my glasses. I offered to mail mine back ...just need new frame. They have no compassion and said, "Sorry, no, we can not provide replacement." Unreal, sad.

    Zenni is a quality company with glasses that are a fraction of the price of your local storefront. I did have an issue with my prescription due to the automatic eye measurements provided on the site. But their customer service refunded my money and I got the correct eye measurements from my optometrist. I reordered my glasses with the correct eye measurements and the new glasses are perfect. I also ordered a prescription pair of sunglasses and that were perfect as well. I just recommend that you get precise eye measurements instead of using their automated system. 4.7 stars… I will use again.

    Zenni is pretty much my go to for glasses for a few years now. Because the prices are so low, I’ve been able to afford multiple pairs for different uses! And now that I have a new prescription for different distances it’s nice to have an everyday pair, a pair for longer distances, prescription sunglasses, and migraine/blue blockers for when I’m on the computer all day and didn’t have to go broke to be able to see properly. The quality of the lenses and frames have always been good and I really only stick to frames less than 25$ and as low as 6$. It’s crazy to me if you’re not using Zenni. They literally make it so easy.

    Had no issues with Zenni- until they moved their production to Ohio. Unfortunately much better quality when they used to manufacture in China. I’ve ordered several pairs in the past- sunglasses and regular glasses which all came in manufactured to order and high quality feeling. My most recent order came in with the wrong lens type, protruding monofilament, and over-adjusted arms. Customer service now is powered by AI and it shows- they never resolved the issue so I had to dispute the charge with my bank. Poor quality + Poor service from the Ohio team.

    We love Zenni, we have yet to encounter another online glasses brand that caters to our needs while also staying within our price range. We prefer glasses with clip-on/magnetic sunglasses, and not only does Zenni have a good number of custom-made clip-on/magnet-on frames, they also now have the option to get generic cut-to-fit clip-ons for ANY frame they sell, which is nuts, in case you weren't aware. I've been a lifelong glasses wearer, especially as I've gotten older and my eyes get so dry that they don't tolerate contacts well. So I appreciate having glasses that look good, feel good, and function well. Are these THE most high-quality, bougie glasses on the market? No, but I don't think they have to be. I'm rough on my glasses, I always have been, so it's a waste of my money to buy fancier glasses. Zenni is our one-stop-shop and will remain so until someone else can figure out the model better than they have!

    I made my fourth purchase from Zenni on 03/24/2025. It shipped on 03/27/2025 The order arrived 04/05/2025. The website is easy to use, and they had all my info already in my account when I placed my order. My order was shipped, but then it stopped moving in shipping. I emailed Zenni's customer service dept with this urgent issue, and I didn't hear back from them. I had to chat with Zenni three business days later for Zenni to even realize I had an issue. I was then told on chat that I should have chatted in the first place, not email.

    Their way of saying "I'm sorry" was to offer 10% off my next purchase. Why would I even consider shopping with Zenni again if they don't care enough to respond to an email for three days? I was then offered a refund if I send my glasses back. So, the options are either keep buying, or eff off, here's your money back. one star, will not use again. You shouldn't use Zenni.

    I purchased 3 pairs of glasses from Zenni in October 23. By the end of 2024 the glasses were so cloudy I could not use them safely anymore. I recently set them aside and contacted the warranty folks to find that though I kept the glasses in a case and took good care of them they said the anti-glare layer often wears off and leaves the glasses cloudy. They offered 15% discount on new glasses that have the same warranty. I did not buy more, I do not want to buy new glasses every year. Throwing these away is irresponsible and it makes me ill that this is normal for them to suggest I do so. Thanks for reading.

    I was sent a pair of glasses that had lenses in them that were an old, EXPIRED, prescription. Of course Zenni said they would take them back but made no other effort to correct this error. They even refused to acknowledge that they filled an EXPIRED prescription. This company is suspicious, to say the least. When I spoke to the customer service rep and asked for a simple "yes or no" answer she would not respond and instead gave company supplied rhetoric. Long story made short- Zenni will fill any prescription as long as it makes them money. They do not care if the prescription is correct or not.

    Ordered readers with purple tinted lenses - got brown lenses. Called to see how to get the glasses I ordered and they told me it was my computer? Then I was told the lab made them per my instructions. No, you make purple tinted lenses and that is what I ordered.     I was really skeptical about ordering prescription glasses on-line. I asked friends for recommendations and 3 of my friends suggested Zenni. It was easy enough to pick out frames and apply my prescription. You can even "try them on" virtually to get a feel of what they look like on your face.     I purchased the Geometric Glasses 3239719 Rose Gold from Zenni, and within three months, the coating on the frame was chipping and the glasses looked terrible. I have been purchasing glasses for 25 years, and have never had this issue until these pairs, yet this is the terrible response I received from their customer service. "We would like to inform you that the peeling of the coating is a common and natural occurrence that typically results from normal wear and tear over time." So, they admit their product is bad, but won't accept responsibility.

    This isn't normal wear and tear over time, this is three months. They went on: "This is a usual aspect of the aging process of eyewear, as coatings can gradually break down due to regular usage, exposure to various environmental factors, and frequent handling." Essentially, they will replace the frames, but not make it right. Why on Earth would I want the same frames again when the quality was terrible the first time? I will never shop with them again.     I ordered Zenni glasses which I received in a timely manner. However, when I tried them on, both lenses were blurry. I contacted them and they responded quickly, willing to make things right if the glasses were not produced properly. I went to my eye doc to confirm the prescription was correct, which it was. She also scanned the glasses and made an adjustment, then placed them back on my nose. I could see clearly in only a tiny spot on each lens. She explained that the "sweet spot" (the area through which one can see clearly) was incredibly tiny compared to higher quality glasses in which the sweet spot included most of each lens, not just a tiny spot in the middle. Due to family issues which kept me too busy to contact Zenni and return the glasses within 30 days, I missed out on the return option. I am very disappointed in the quality of these glasses and do not recommend them.

    Way overrated. You can get better glasses for less that look better with better customer service at many places online. Glasses are cheap and break easy. When they break there is no repair service. You are forced to replace them. Warranty is only 30 days. Customer service sucks.

    I've bought a dozen or more pairs of glasses from Zenni. When I buy super cheap frames, I get cheap frames but spending a little more has good results. Most people complaining haven't spent enough or done enough to ensure the prescription is correct, the measurements are right, etc. I now need glasses for close-up work and while their pre-made readers are absolutely terrible, if you order them as a prescription (+2.5 for example), they make them with all the anti-reflection and anti-scratch coatings but in a cheap frame, they are only about $20-25 - that's cheaper than the terrible readers on Amazon! And they are fully warranted.

    There is mention that the warranty is limited - well, it is everywhere I've been so that's nothing new. I've had Zenni replace glasses that are 6 months old for free... I'm sure they don't do it for everybody but I've been a pretty steady customer. They constantly step up on the service side when they don't have to, so I believe they have earned the 5 stars!

    I have been ordering my eyeglasses from Zenni for at least seven years now. The first time I ordered, about 2017, my puppy grabbed my very expensive Titanium frame eyeglasses off the coffee table. He had a good time chewing up the glasses. They were not salvageable! I pondered at what I was going to do because the expense of new ones would be too much for the budget. Then I heard about Zenni. They constructed a pair of eyeglasses with the Titanium frame just for me and my prescription. I was so thrilled when these glasses arrived. They were absolutely perfect!!! And the price point was as beautiful as the eyeglasses. I kept the puppy and stop putting my glasses on the coffee table, but, no worries (lol), he grew out of his "chewing" stage and is a perfectly wonderful fella!

    I have faithfully been ordering ALL my eyeglasses from Zenni ever since. Zenni does a super job! They are also pretty nice. They apparently care about their work as every time I order glasses from them the glasses are made exceptional well. At Zenni's prices, I can afford to have an extra pair of backup eyeglasses and also a pair of night-driving eyeglasses along with matching clip-on sunshades for all eyeglasses.     I ordered prescription eyeglasses & paid for rush shipping on 11/26/24 and today is now 12/06/24. The company advertises that if you pay for “Rush Shipping” they will expedite your order in 2-5 days. That is a lie and clearly misleading because they have NOT expedited my order at all.     I really appreciate how easy it was to try out the glasses virtually and select different lenses. I tried out the transition lenses for me and for my husband. He likes his but my transition lenses have a pink hue and give me a bad headache if I’m wearing them inside which is why I took off one star. I did get another pair of glasses and they are amazing! I can’t tell any difference in quality between them and ones that I have previously purchased from an eye doctor. The prices were great and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone.

    I ordered a pair of every day glasses and a pair of work safety glasses in April, 6 1/2 months later the frames break on my safety glasses and Zenni tells me I have to buy another pair. They broke while working and I need them to see. The glasses were not being used in an any destructive way. I will not buy from Zenni again.

    I ordered transition glasses with brown tint. I got glasses with the left lens pink and the right lens brown. It's not just that the left lens is pink, but the dioptry is way off. I've reached out to them via the chat on their website (I don't know for any other way to contact them), and both times I got the same response: "...you'll get replacement glasses. Please allow 24-48h to get a confirmation email for new order..." Did I get the confirmation email? No, not once, not twice. Learn from my mistakes and stay away and save yourself some money.

    Oh Zenni. SMH. So yesterday somehow my glasses developed a crack on the frame on one side - it's not all the way through yet so as long as it doesn't get worse I should be okay. I'm also looking into Lasik so all of this may not matter much longer. I sent them an email basically asking what are my options. Their response left me absolutely shocked. They said that they couldn't just replace the frames (nor would they because they were one-month outside warranty) because they cycle through new frames every six months so the frames I bought last year won't fit the frames I would buy today. The frames are $25. The lenses are $150-ish. So my only option is to spend ANOTHER $200 to completely replace the lenses and the frames. That's wasteful and it's bad customer service. Shame on you Zenni.

    Initially I was really excited when I heard about Zenni. I would be able to afford to have different eyeglasses for different styles of clothes. Unfortunately I will not buy any more eyeglasses through Zenni. It is just to difficult to order glasses without being able to try them on and see them. The first pair I purchased were different than what I expected. The frame was thicker but they were ok and I did get a few compliments on them so I was satisfied, sort of.

    Then when my work smock was changed to navy blue, I wanted to get frames that matched. I got on the Zenni app and found a pair that were described as "navy blue". I saw online there was a tinge of pink on them but I was ok with that. When I got them they were not navy blue at all but rather teal. I thought maybe I would get used to the color and set them aside. I tried them on several other times but wasn't happy with them. Now we all know how time flies. It was a busy end of summer and before I knew it, it was 2 months later.

    It is COMPLETELY MY FAULT that I didn't return them during the 30 day window. But I thought I would give it a shot and see if Zenni would work with me in returning them. They didn't at all. No half credit or we'll make an exception and do it this once for you especially since THE COLOR DESCRIPTION ONLINE WAS INACCURATE. They are clearly not navy blue. Again, I didn't send them back in time, but I would have thought they would work with me. Customer service is so very important. I've worked retail in one way or another my entire life so I do have some experience with this and I know the difference between a customer that needs some help and an abusive customer. In the end... Zenni has lost a potentially profitable customer. In the end... I will delete the app.

    I had purchased from Zenni 3 years ago at my old address. I purchased new glasses from them, making sure to update my address in my address book on my account. I checked out and was so excited to get my new glasses. A few days later they sent me an email stating my new glasses were on the way to my OLD ADDRESS. What??!! I contacted Zenni right away and told them the problem and the told me to contact the courier and get them to return the package. So I contacted UsPs and by the time I heard back from them the package was out of their hands. So I re-contacted Zenni. They told me to GO TO MY OLD ADDRESS AND SEE IF I CAN GET THE PACKAGE BACK. What??!! I asked for a refund. They declined. Now I’m out $100 bucks and I’ll never use Zenni again.

    Both a pair a rimless only the past May and after few months the arm snapped. I spend over $300 on this pair and I try to take to my local optical and they can't even touch them, so I'm stocked with a $300 pair that I can't fix or return. Contact customer service and pretty much they can't do anything about. They ask me to send pics to them and I never heard back. I guess that don’t need my family business.

    I ordered my first pair of glasses through this company. Unfortunately the frame was too small for me. When I reported the issue to them right away they asked me to look through the frames and see if I could find the proper size and if I could not find my size they would refund me. I must have a weird head size because they do not have a frame that would fit me and when I asked them to send me the refund they refused to refund me and instead put my money in as a credit. A credit. That is no good to me.. Lesson learn. Never try to cheap out and go for something cheaper. They pretty much stole my money. If I had known this would happen I would of fought harder to get a refund that day rather than them talking me into looking at the frames again for the right size.

    I have purchased over 15 pair of glasses from Zenni without issues. On my first issue with the glasses, I initiated a return process. Which they failed miserably. 1- First you have to ask for a permission to return, which takes them 2-3 days to respond. 2- Once they respond, and with intent to slow down the process, they propose 2 different refund methods (in store credit or full refund which will take 2 wks minimum). Your respond and wait another day for a label.

    3- The whole process just to receive a return label takes about 5-6 days. 4- Then they issue the wrong refund. In my case I returned two pair of glasses, but they only credited with one. 5- I called CS to ask for the full refund (minus shipping) and the agent stated that they only received one. That’s a complete lie. The package wasn’t delivered yet! I can clearly see on the tracking the package wasn’t delivered yet. That’s unbelievable dishonesty. Terrible, terrible… I’ll dispute the transaction with my CC. Buyers Beware. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS.

Their inspection stated made to standards returning them to me. Their delay on action voided my right to get refund. I had glasses checked locally prior to sending. They are different prescriptions.

    Looks like you either love or don't like Zenni. My experience was only 1 star. Very tight/non-negotiable exchange/return policy. The glasses were not very adjustable as they are made from a plastic that has a memory and does not hold an adjustment. This was not described in the product and could not get them to take an adjustment. Customer service could only recite their return policy - of no technical help.

    The previous pair I purchased in December of 2022. The nose piece broke that connects the glasses together and could not be repaired. Obviously, this was a manufacturing defect. The most recent pair I purchased May 2024 have scratches and the warranty is only 30 days from delivery date. These were scratch resistant lenses. I understand that is a coating and over time scratches may occur. I found out that Zenni outsources the eyeglass manufacturing to China with customer service & order entry in California. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ZENNI regardless of how much less they cost.

    Zenni Optical is not what they used to be. If you supply them with your correct prescription, they can make you a set of eyeglasses- in China- that take a very long time to be delivered. However, if you have a problem... Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I recently ordered two pair of eyeglasses from them. The lab in China took their sweet old time making them and shipping them to the USA. Once they were finally in the country, they supplied me with a delivery date which came and went. Apparently, they use multiple shipping companies to get the glasses from China to the USA, and one of the shippers messed up- and although the address on the package was correct, they decided to return it to the sender due to human error. Wait- it gets better...

    I contacted zenni to explain the situation, and asked them to contact the shipper to arrange for redelivery. Instead of taking the 2 minutes to make a phone call, they told me they would just wait for them to be returned, and then re-ship- which could have taken a month or two, depending on exactly where the location of the "sender" was...

    I took it upon myself to spend a great deal of time obtaining contact information for the shipper who made the mistake. Once in contact, they were more than happy to retrieve the package and redeliver it to me. When I informed their "customer service" (I use that term loosely) that I had managed to do what they would not do, they basically just blew me off... This was my first- and last- experience with zenni optical. The glasses were okay, but it was way too much work on my part to get them in my hands- something that their "customer service" should have handled...

Today, I was about to order a new pair of play glasses and I looked at old orders to verify that all the add-ons were the same. Much to my horror, I saw where the previous pair of glasses had been sent with a prescription that does not much my uploaded prescription. I asked Zenni for help - they said they do not keep records of uploads and couldn't verify if it was my fault or not. In short - they sent me a prescription that does not match the uploaded one and there is no recourse. I should have double-checked upon arrival, but just assumed they used the uploaded prescription.

    I purchased three pairs of readers in February. I like to keep a lot of readers because I break them frequently. I used one pair pretty regularly and had no problems. The other two pairs sat in my end table drawer until I was ready to use them. It’s now June. I went in my drawer to grab another pair to toss in my purse and it was cracked. I looked at the other pair that was in there. They were cracked. They’ve never been worn, they’re just cracked on the frames. Zenni said the best they could do was give me a 50% store credit since it was outside of warranty. I was not particularly happy with that considering the glasses had never been used, and it’s not my fault that they cracked. I have decided not to purchase any more readers through them. I have purchased foster grant readers from Costco and they lasted me years. I will be going back to Costco.

    I'd give this a 1 star, and the only reason they would be because of the selection and shipping was relatively quickly. The glasses come in a case with a wipe as is standard. However, when they arrived the problems began. I could not see through the glasses unless I slide the glasses down the bridge of my nose. Couldn’t see anything wearing it normally. At first for weeks, I thought it was a new prescription and I needed to get use to them (progressive).

    Contacted Zenni for assistance, rep told me to adjust the nose plates. News flash no nose plates on the glasses. I informed the rep, I have bought a few pairs of glasses from Zenni without nose pads and I have never had an issue. When I told the rep this she came back with it's past 30 days and there are no refunds (basically you are SOL). Now I have to take these glasses to a brick and Mortar store to see where to go from here. I am certain the prescription was not followed as looking through them I can only see my close up prescription when worn correctly on my face. As the other reviewers state, their refund policy is ridiculous and no doubt designed to avoid all their products being sent back. A complete waste of time.

    Zenni glasses are not as described...arms are much shorter and turn into your head and dig in. And what's worse is the coatings including Blokz cloud over time, which for me, was just a couple days past the 30 day warranty. Zenni won't even honor the 1 year coating warranty nor allow me to send these back for review. I've been a customer for some time but the quality here has decreased immensely in the last couple years.

    Zenni frames are cheaply built and do not last. They offer no long-term guarantee for their products, refusing to replace a $6 frame when it delaminated in less than 9 months of wear. If there’s an issue with your prescription, they will not remake your glasses as most brick-and-mortar stores would. Additionally, be wary of frames without metal in the tips, as these all-plastic frames cannot be properly adjusted for fit. Furthermore, they printed the wrong mailing label on my package, causing a significant delay in receiving my glasses. Zenni could not guarantee the glasses would ever arrive and offered no replacement, compensation, or coupon to rectify the situation. Overall, customer service at Zenni was a solid zero.

    My son broke his glasses and so we submitted a rush order via Zenni for new glasses, at the recommended sizing for frames for his age. The website recommended Medium for kids age 12. The glasses arrived and they appeared to be for a four year old, they were so tiny. A regular shop would have realized the PD we submitted did not match the size frame we ordered. Zenni accepted them back, but my son will have to continue wearing broken glasses for another week or two while we reorder a new pair. What a disappointment. Without trying them on in a store, I do not recommend Zenni for children.

    I decided to purchase from Zenni's as I had a couple friends that gave rave reviews. I must have a much higher prescription (with astigmatism) then they did. My first order was fine in the right eye, but left was off by about 10 mm PD. I gave a single PD of 65. My optometrist said, "They're wrong and you you need a different pair." I returned for full refund and ordered a pair with more height. Same thing again, sent back for inspection and they said it fit into the parameters! I don't think I need to be cross-eyed to see correctly thru my lenses. I again got a refund and went with Eyebuydirect who got the prescription right the first time!

    We previously had no issues with Zenni for years, but this was a different matter entirely. I ordered a set of glasses for my son, who had just broken his frames. We had a Vacation coming up, so I paid for Expedited shipping so that they would be there on time. Total cost around $80. We tracked the order, and it finally showed up about 10 days after placing it, a few days before our vacation. But instead of the glasses, they sent an empty Fed-ex envelope with a zenni branded cardboard measuring tool. No glasses.

    Customer support was not helpful. They said they'd go ahead and send out another order. I explained how I had paid for rush processing so we'd have them in time, and only then did they offer to refund the rush shipping back. Despite asking, they offered no discount, no credit for a future order, and insisted that since I was getting free expedited shipping on the order it was fair. Nothing about this felt expedited. My son now has to go on Vacation with broken frames. And even after all this, my new replacement still isn't showing up in my account as an order, so who knows when I will receive it.

    I have been getting glasses from Zenni's for over 2 years now. I only had one issue and it was my fault I incorrectly typed in my script on one lens. I sent them back and expected to pay for the correction but Zenni charged me 0. I was amazed. This year I received my new script after having a stroke my eyes changed a lot. I uploaded my script to Zenni. Ordered my glasses using the picture app to see what ones you like. OMG these glasses are Beautiful and I have never seen better in the 51 years in wearing glasses. Top that off with I saved over $1100.00 from what my optometrist lab wanted. I will never go anywhere else for glasses and now both my sisters have order from them also. Thank you Zenni for a great product with an awesome price.

    Easy to scan a prescription and the glasses have lasted longer than ones I paid far more for. I have not had to use their customer service so I cannot speak to that. Shipping times seem very reasonable. No problems with prescription.

    I've been ordering glasses from Zenni for years. First time I had trouble. On delivery one ear piece was broken. Called. Sent picture of the broken item. 10 days later had an entire new set of bifocal sunglasses sent. Never have I had any problems with them in the past.     Zenni sent me glasses with the incorrect prescription. When I called customer service, a language barrier made it very challenging to share what was wrong with my glasses. She didn't know what astigmatism meant or why two pairs of glasses, one progressive and one only nearsighted (sunglasses for driving only), would both be incorrect. She said it was my fault the prescription was wrong and didn't understand that their system scans prescriptions as part of your order. When asked to talk to a supervisor, she said they were busy with another customer, but they could cover the shipping and handling so I could either get my money back or a store credit. Zero accountability or trying to address their issue.

    My glasses were lost in the mail, and when I called Zenni, I reached a call center overseas that was either unwilling or unable to assist me. In fact, the representative insisted that I conduct my own investigation to figure out what had happened to them. Worst of all, my glasses, for which I paid $70, were of shoddy workmanship. They're so flimsy that I worry that they won't last much at all. Don't buy from this company!

    I recently purchased a new pair of frames with transition lenses, which I was skeptical about trying but figured would be worth a try as I spend a ton of time outside. Overall, the new glasses are solid and include my correct prescription. The style and fit is as expected after using Zenni's virtual try on while shopping. The transition from different lighting settings (outside, driving, inside, etc.) works pretty well, although driving can be a bit weird. It seems the lenses only tint slightly inside of my car with tinted windows, but they seem to be tinting enough to protect my eyes while driving in sunny conditions. Outside the lenses work great and fully tint when in direct sunlight. Transitioning back to indoor lighting can take some time, but usually only a few minutes. I am overall happy with the glasses, but maybe would purchase another pair to have an option without transition lenses.

    Now for the bad part of my experience with Zenni. Unfortunately, they chose to ship their products using FedEx, which has to be the worst delivery service that exists. I live in an apartment complex with clearly labeled building numbers and units, but FedEx ALWAYS delivers to the incorrect building and/or unit number. Amazon, UPS, etc., never have a problem. So on day of delivery I nearly lost my glasses as FedEx, of course, didn't bother to check where they were delivering and dropped my package at the wrong unit. Luckily it was the same building and I was able to locate the package, but Zenni definitely should reconsider their shipping partner. Not really a knock on Zenni, I suppose, but still reflects on the overall experience. Overall, I would probably use Zenni again as it is a cost-efficient option for glasses, but maybe would be hesitant to order from them in the future because FedEx is pretty terrible.

    I was skeptical about Rx lenses purchased online, especially without having my PD included in my written prescription. I didn't have the measuring tool, so I used Zenni's online PD measurement tool. Again, I was skeptical about how accurate it could have been. But, considering how inexpensive the glasses were, I decided to give it a try anyway. I am very glad I did. The glasses arrived in less than 2 weeks from the date I ordered them, and the Rx was a perfect fit. I could see perfectly clear from the very first time I tried on my new glasses.     What Zenni does to bait you in, is promise 7-14 delivery of your glasses but then they don't do it. My recent order was to be here in 7-14 days. It will be nearly 3 weeks when/if they arrive by then. I believe this is misleading and I think it's partly done to prey on Senior Citizens and others who think their order will arrive in the timeframe Zenni says it will.

    I have used Zenni for a while and my most recent order was quite specific with extra features that cost me more than usual. I thought, well, they advertise a satisfaction guarantee so I should be ok. The glasses were too tight for my face so Zenni told me they would refund me once I sent my glasses back to them. I followed their instructions to a tee, taking a bunch of time out of my day to package the glasses properly before sending them back, tracking the package, etc. When I didn't see a refund on my credit card a month later, I reached out to Zenni and they said they had tried to call me to tell me that they made a mistake and I wasn't eligible for a refund after all because I hadn't sent my glasses back within the 14 day refund period (I think I missed it by a few days). I was shocked there was no other follow up by Zenni, nothing, no email or more calls, or even a simple message on my Zenni account.

    So now they have the glasses back and I don't have a refund. They've offered a store credit on my next order but why would I want to do business with them again? They could have so easily remedied this by issuing me a refund, especially since it was one of their associates who sent me the refund email link and told me to send in the glasses in the first place! This is one unsatisfied customer who will never again order glasses from Zenni. Go to Costco instead where they actually care about customer service and you can get inexpensive frames and quality personal service, and try on the glasses first! Zenni just lost a long-time customer who will be telling anyone who will listen to not deal with this company who pretends to care about their customers.

    Zenni has a satisfaction guarantee, but it is equivalent to consumer fraud. You need to talk with a live agent to get a return authorization, and it is impossible to do that. The say they'll get back to you in 48 hours, and they never do. I ordered progressive lenses, and they were defective. My only option was to dispute the charge with my bank. I will never do business with Zenni again.

    I have purchased several glasses from Zenni over the years and have been quite pleased. The arms of the glasses I just ordered really began to loosen and wouldn’t stay on. This was clearly a design flaw. Because this manufacturing defect was not evident within the 30-day return timeframe, I am unable to return them. I wish only to receive a credit so I can get a different pair. A 30-day warranty on eyewear is ridiculous. Many manufacturing and design flaws on glasses are not evident within the first month of wearing them. I will be going elsewhere for glasses in the future.

    I give Zenni no stars because they are the worst company I have ever dealt with!!!! I was supposed to get a refund of $277.85. They only gave me 245.85 back!!!!     I ordered a pair of glasses. I returned them and received a credit. I ordered another pair which was less. Credit was applied which would leave a remaining credit. I went to oder sunglasses and apply the remaining credit. It could not be accessed after supplying the requested order info.     I purchase a set of glasses from Zenni and when I received them I noticed a zebra like wave throughout the lenses. The lenses I chose where 1.53 Trivex Transitions® XTRActive Polarized - Gray, the most expensive ones that Zenni offers. I sent them back at my cost and around three weeks later they sent me a replacement set. 4 months later the lenses had the exact same problem but now the 30 day warranty was up and even though it was the same problem they would not warranty them! My experience with Zenni has been less than stellar and it would have been cheaper to buy local as I would have had much better service and a pair of glasses that actually worked. In the end I threw the glasses in the garbage. Moral of the story is Zenni is not worth your time and money!

    I have the summers off so I ordered my bifocals thru Zenni. Since I never had glasses before I had questions before I ordered my bifocals. Emails back and forth with my prescription to zenni and what I wanted and needed. So I got the glasses and opened them up. All looked good. A couple months go by and I go back to work. Teaching for the school. I do not need glasses during the summer..I go back to school and glasses are wrong. All 5 pairs. I contact zenni and after their mistake. They will not take glasses back.     I received my first order from them. However when getting my glasses it was like looking through a fishbowl. They never state that this effect happens with thick glasses. The customer service representative I talked to was unremorseful about the situation. She suggested I opt for thinner lenses even though the effect would still likely happen. If you wear a higher prescription beware that this may be what you get. In my 26 years of wearing high prescription glasses. I have never encountered the fishbowl effect.     I have never had problems with Zenni before Summer 2023. I ordered a pair of glasses and sunglasses in my new prescription. They gave me terrible headaches, but I had used a new pupillary distance from a new eye doctor. I assumed this PD was wrong, and ordered my new prescription with my old PD. These new glasses also gave me headaches. I went to my eye doctor, assuming the new prescription was wrong. She checked my glasses, and found that the PD on the glasses were incorrect, one pair was off by 6 mm. They will only offer store credit, and I have no confidence that they will re-make my glasses correctly. I will be using the store credit only to buy frames, I no longer trust Zenni to make lenses for me.

    I order a pair of glasses. Did not received them. I had to go to my local eye doctor and buy the glasses off of them. I reported to Zenni they told me to wait. I waited and still did not receive them. I asked for my refund because I had to buy my glasses somewhere else they said no just credit. Why would I use this company again. I spent over $200 on my glasses I lost the money. I don’t want a credit. I spent over $450 at my eye doctor. So it cost me even more because I had to spend $450 to get glasses and lose $$207 because Zenni won’t refund me. Never again.

    I paid fee they requested to rush my order and to this day since the 4/27/23 haven't received anything. I called them 3 times already and they had a different response every time. But Today broke the patience after I place the called and ask for my order, the Response the employee tells me was not what I was looking for. 1st he didn't know anything about the order after i supply him with the information requested, so I ask him where is my merchandise. (He replies that he's sorry but couldn't find my order after I paid full amount plus Fee for the delivery.)

    I ordered on a Monday because I would have within 2 - 3 days, well before I leave for vacation 8 days later. I checked the status of the order 4 days later "in process", 5 days later "in process". I called customer service - and they could only tell me it was "in process" and Operations would get back to me in 24 - 48 hours.     Zenni does a good job. Nice glasses for great prices however they refuse to reinstate their sunglass 50% tint option for some reason. Their only option now is the very dark 80% tint that I feel is just too dark. I feel they are unsafe for driving. I can hardly see my feet when I look down. One would think they would want to sell more glasses?? Why they would terminate this useful option is puzzling to me. The only other option would be the fashion tint at only 10% tint. There's nothing in between, sad. Please if anyone else agrees write your desire to reinstate this option. Maybe Zenni will get the point. Thank You.

    BUYER BEWARE! When I received my glasses, the first time I wore them I was extremely dizzy and it took hours before I was back to normal. Later I tried them again and did not notice that my vision was improved. I have two other pairs of glasses that I purchased from my eye doctor and they work perfectly. I figured I try an online company to save some money and get an extra pair. Bad decision! I went through the process of entering my prescription as well as their manual process for getting your PD taking a picture with a credit card.

    After 2 weeks of trying to wear these glasses, I contacted customer service. They asked for a copy of my prescription so they can check. They responded that the information is correct but the PD was missing. I said that I used your manual process online. I mean why not right? Saves me a trip or call to my eye doctor. So turns out. Their manual process is not accurate. So why offer it right? The only reason I can think of is to get my order done quicker at my expense. So, here are my options, I can return under 30 day return policy for 50% minus shipping or send it back for them to inspect if there was an error on their part. Also I have to get the PD from my eye doctor. If they find out that they made a mistake, of which I have to basically Take their word, I get 100% store credit. I’ll pass! I’ll take the 50% hit and never buy glasses online again!

    They are really scam artists!!!! If they actually made good quality glasses that are cheaper, then they'd offer more than a 30 day warranty. I've been wearing glasses for over 39 years. I've NEVER broken my glasses before. 4 months after buying the previous pair, they broke but Zenni doesn't care. Good eyeglass companies that know they sell good glasses offer a much better warranty!!!! I ordered another pair because my son and I have expensive dental work that we need done soon. These glasses were too big. I have to order another pair or I'll only get a 50% refund. I'm NOT letting them steal half of my money!!!! Good eyeglass companies offer 100% refunds if their customers aren't satisfied. I'm not ordering glasses from Zenni again after this!!!! They are scam artists!!!!

    They make poor quality glasses so that they can sell them cheap and when they break a few months later, too bad because they only offer a 30 day warranty. They should be ashamed of themselves!!!!     The quality of the glasses is great for the price. It took me about two weeks to get my glasses. It's not the fastest shipping out there but it works for me. Also, I don't know if I would have bought the glasses that I bought based on how they fit and how well I see through them if I had an opportunity to try them on. Had I been able to wear a pair of frames even with just a non-corrective ones in it first, I might have made a different choice. But it's not gonna stop me from trying to buy Zenni lens again in the future.

    I was looking around on Google and I came across Zenni. I noticed I can put my prescription, which was very easy to do. They walked me step-by-step through that. I didn't have to pay for the prescription -- I just have to pay for the frames, which I thought was a great deal. I paid $8 or $12 for the frames, plus shipping and the taxes. It was very inexpensive and that's great for me. But the virtual try-on tools are a little difficult to use. I used it once and I never used it again. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just not for me. I love the glasses I got. This is the third pair I've ordered of the same frame.

    I've purchased about 12 times from Zenni. They're reasonable and the quality of their products seem fine. My son likes the aviator glasses and there's not a lot of options with that, which I was kind of surprised. Also, the picture thing on the website didn't really work, but it was nice to have. The size of the face to the glasses wasn't quite right and sometimes, if the face wasn't straight on, the glasses would look weird. So, I would always use the little thing they sent me for the next pair or I would take a pair of sunglasses then mark it and just measure. Other than that, the delivery was done thru regular mail and it was fine, but faster is always nicer.

    I saw a number of companies online and I looked through a whole variety of them. I liked the glasses on Zenni and the way you try them on. There's everything available on there. I found some glassed I liked. I got three pairs so far and I'm happy with them. When people compliment me on my glasses, I tell them where I got them.
