I am a long time customer of Zenni Optical. I started buying glasses from them in 2013 and have referred all my friends to them. HOWEVER, my latest order, placed this month, was so subpar that I cannot recommend Zenni Optical anymore. Buyer Beware. I believe the change has come because they grew so big they moved their manufacturing facility overseas or changed something along those lines. I have no proof of that except I'm holding an extremely DEFECTIVE pair of sunglasses I paid quite a bit for that they refuse to help me with. I have to pay the return postage. Then an email telling me the glasses are not defective. They have about 1/3 of an inch of total blur around the edges. They are saying that is normal. I almost fell the other day.

I ordered progressive sunglasses using my doctor's script. I got them the day before my month-long vacation. But quickly discovered that I was completely unable to read in them! When I returned, I reached out to customer service. They first refused to help as I was 2 days outside of my "30-day warranty." When I pushed back, they agreed to allow me to ship them back for inspection.

Have ordered glasses from Zenni for years with nothing but great success - One pair of glasses in this order were totally messed up, couldn't see through them without headache - causing eye strain. I think maybe the PD may have been done completely wrong. Called to discuss and the customer service representative couldn't care less about my problem and was rude, I felt she just wanted to get me off the phone - told me I had to send them back and maybe I would get credit for that pair of my 3 pair order. You should have a pre-paid return postage program like most other modern internet seller. I felt I was very badly served when I finally had a complaint after being a customer for so many years.

I found Zenni Optical through a Google search and I went with them because of their reviews. I had some connection with their customer service reps and ordering online was easy. I ordered two times and I came back.

Four years ago, I found Zenni Optical on Facebook and they're a lot cheaper than going to the doctor. I have ordered a lot of glasses from them and I usually purchase a full rim. The shipping is very fast and the quality of the glasses are good. But I have a problem with one of the items that I ordered recently. It's different from the prescription that I wanted. But other than that, I like all the glasses that I ordered. Zenni provides excellent service.

Ordering from Zenni Optical online was really easy. They're less expensive and I really like the frames. I did the full rims this year and everything was great.

Still waiting for glasses that were supposed to be delivered today (paid for express shipping). Placed order & emailed a copy of my Rx. They said they tried to contact me with no evidence of it, "Look in your spam folder." Nada in spam either. Stated they called FIVE days after the order was placed, noticed a "discrepancy". I sent the copy of my Rx to avoid this!!!! FIVE DAYS LATER they say they "tried to contact" me???? I'd still be waiting if I didn't call them wondering where my order was. Now they say they will "expedite" it & I should receive them in 7-10 days. Funny because that would've been the same original time without 20.00 extra for express shipping. DO NOT PAY FOR EXPRESS SHIPPING!!!! IT'S A JOKE!!! & they will not refund the extra I paid for shipping!!! Hope the glasses work! Horrible Mexican customer service also. Only call 5 am-5 pm E.S.T. or you get Mexico!???

I lost my glasses and a friend back home told me that I could buy something cheap but good quality on the internet. I looked at the frames on the other sites but I liked Zenni’s the most for its cool variety of eye glasses. The frames look good and juvenile so I bought one from them last year. The ordering process was easy, as well. I bought my second pair a couple of months ago and I went for the style that is plastic and full rim. I bought the same one like what I bought last year because everybody said the glasses look really cool.

I bought one pair and after they arrived, I immediately bought two more pair and will be buying one a month until I get all the frames I like! Affordable, fast and perfect for everyday glasses! Love, love, love Zenni! I get compliments every time I wear my glasses and I always tell them where I got them!

I like Zenni Optical because they have a lot of beautiful designs and it’s cheap. I don’t have to spend an arm and leg to get eyeglasses and I love that. Ordering online is easy especially since I can save my prescription so I get to put that in when I order glasses. It’s pretty straightforward and I like it. I’ve ordered from them five times already, and I have a couple of prescription sunglasses and regular ones too. I’m ultimately satisfied so I will keep on ordering from Zenni.

One of my friends told me about Zenni Optical and I went with them for their prices. I have been ordering from them for five years already and I have bought five pairs of glasses, including my husband's. They have a lot of different options and I got a few different variant styles just for the change in my look. Their products are affordable and stylish but I wasn't able to go into the store and try on the frames before I purchased. I ordered online which was very easy and the process from ordering to receiving the products was fairly fast.

I started using Zenni four years ago. I ordered full rim glasses because I like how this type of glasses looks on my face. The shipping of the glasses was super fast and the glasses weren't messed up when they came. It was a good experience with Zenni and I would use them again.

I wanted to try Zenni Optical back in May or June and see if they could do what I wanted done correctly. When I did, I was very happy with the glasses that I received. It was a very good experience and I’d be using Zenni again. I'd be ordering my son's glasses from them as well.

I love Zenni. I’ve been dealing with them for so many years now. Someone told me about them and they're one of the first companies I ever heard of that customize glasses. Zenni has a pretty good selection and the ordering process was easy. Also, I got my name on the glasses that I ordered from them.

I've been ordering from Zenni Optical for years because of the quality and the price. I get my eye exam, take my prescription, and order my glasses from them ‘cause it's cheaper than even with my insurance. Then it takes a week for me to get them. I got a big modern-style frame and they're $10, so you can't beat that. The styles are very cute and you can upload a picture and see all the frames on your face but it's not the same as in a walk-in store. However, the glasses are so cheap that if I don't like them, I keep them anyway so I can have an extra pair. They're still glasses, so I can still use them. Now you can send them back too if you don't like them.

I highly recommend this company. I was always breaking my 200 dollar glasses before I had the fortune to discover Zenni. Initially, I sent the wrong prescription but the zenni staff were so nice and redid my glasses for no extra cost! I now have not one but THREE pair of very pretty glasses for 50 dollars plus 27 dollars for postage and handling. (I chose the expensive very quick postage) I plan to change my glasses depending upon the season. Zenni puts joy into having to wear glasses.

I have referred about 100 people to Zenni Optical because I work in a hospital full-time, I work in a restaurant part-time and I bartend a golf event part-time as well so I get their name out there every chance I get. I tell people how inexpensive they are, how many options they have for them to look at and the turnaround time. I've ordered close to 20 pairs of glasses and only one had to be adjusted when I got them. And the only time I had to talk to customer service was the first time I ordered them because I didn't know what I was doing for sure. I also like that it saves my prescription online. So I can just go into their system and then click on my name. I ordered for my mom too and I put on my name and it filled up my information in. I don’t have bifocals but she does so it tells me she can't have this or that. It's a wonderful experience overall.

Zenni Optical has horrible value for the price, the poorest quality and an okay selection of glasses. These are the worst glasses ever. So fuzzy that they are hard to see out of. I sent them back once and they said they had replaced/repaired them, but they're still the same.

My son, who was only in TK, went to an eye doctor and he got glasses last year. But on the very second day of school, he broke them. His teacher told us to try Zenni because they have a bunch of different styles and there are cheap ones we can choose from. The first ones I ordered were full rim and worked really good. He had them for two months then the lens popped out because his little brother grabbed them. We couldn't find the lens so I had to order another pair. I was trying to look for those exact full rim ones, but I couldn't find any so I had to go with a flimsy rim. I like online ordering but I can’t see if they’re going to fit him right. The ones that I ordered didn't fit him right on his face. They kept falling off of his face and were coming down his nose.

The eyeglasses work great. My experience with Zenni Optical was very efficient. I got a full-frame and no-rim eyeglasses, as well as eyeglasses for my kids and they like it. I went with Zenni because their glasses look great and are not that expensive. A co-worker of mine had told me about Zenni’s cheaper-priced eyeglasses. I ordered them online and it was easy because I just needed to fill up what my prescription is. Also that time, they had lots of promotions and discounts. Now, because they have cheaper prices anyway, they don't offer much discounts. All my glasses still work.

I ordered 2 sets of prescription glasses, 1 was a pair of sunglasses and the other was a pair of daily use glasses. I received my order in a timely fashion. The daily use glasses fit perfectly, but the sunglasses did not fit at all! The frame was way too small. (I did use the "choose your size" filter) This was a mistake on ZENNI's End not me as the paying consumer! So after calling in and getting the ring around by "Zuse" he refused to transfer me to a manager and said that I was able to be put on hold till one was able to take my call. So after calling in for a 4th time I had enough! It states in their return policy, "If you made a mistake during the order, or you just don’t like the glasses, you can return them for a 50% refund (excluding shipping), or for a one-time-use 100% store credit (excluding shipping). Unused accessories can be returned for a 100% refund (excluding shipping)."

Zenni Optical is affordable for me as I literally can’t afford to buy glasses at an actual eye doctor or lens crafters. I’ve been ordering from them for years since 2012 and I usually do full rim as it looks better on me. My prescription has changed so much too. My eyes get worse every year, so I have to usually order new ones. That’s also another reason why I don’t go with the expensive ones. However, their return policy is not the best. I wish there was a way to either have a try-on program like Warby Parker does a thing where a person can try on five pairs and then send them back and order the ones he actually likes. The thing that makes it hard is the whole not being able to try the glasses on. I tried to return some once that didn’t fit me and it was too complicated. So I ended up being stuck with them.

I've ordered from Zenni Optical twice. The first one was the full rim but they'd come unscrewed a lot on me. So the second time, I got the half rim because it looked like I didn’t have to worry about being unscrewed. Also, the half rim looked cool. In about a month or two, I would work on a cruise ship, and I plan on buying another pair through Zenni again. Their prices are amazing and it's worth it. I've already recommended them to several friends. Overall, it was an easy experience and I've been pleased with them.

I have ordered three pair of glasses from Zenni. The current pair have prism lenses to correct for double vision - the result of a Glaucoma drain implant in one eye. These glasses are simply perfect and the price is almost unbelievably low.

Don't pay for expedited shipping, they messed up our last order several times and we still don't have them. If you want a pair for kids that you need to keep changing anyway, not an all bad deal, but the quality has taken a dive and the frames keep breaking. Ordered new frames twice and they didn't fit the lenses, had to send back the frames and lenses and pay S&H. No longer sure it's still worth it in the end, but with 2 kids and two adults in glasses it was worth a try.

I had perfectly good glasses from Zenni Optical. They were affordable and nice. They’re also cheaper than others. I had the circle framed ones for a few months but I lost them. I lose glasses easily that’s why I buy glasses like that. I'm going to order some today or tomorrow. Ordering online was simple but Zenni could have a better selection like the square or rectangle styles and more sizes too. Otherwise, I'd recommend it to a friend.

I bought my glasses at Zenni Optical for about $40 total, including shipping. The delivery was way faster than I expected and considering that I had them delivered all the way to Guam, I could appreciate that. The quality of the frames are okay, they're pretty sturdy and have a good hefty weight to them. My glasses are black brow lines, and the gold on the bottom of the lens frames are seem to hold up well so far. The bridge of my glasses are very slightly warped, and the measurements that Zenni provides online run quite small (my glasses squeeze onto the sides of my head uncomfortably at times), but all in all, a really good trade off for such an affordable price. The website has an option where you can upload your picture and virtually try on your glasses, but this isn't very accurate so I wouldn't bother.

Through social media, I found out about Zenni Optical. I got the plastic frames and so far, it’s been a great experience.

I used to LOVE Zenni until today. I've ordered from them before and everything was AMAZING! Ever since I have gotten my glasses, I get so many compliments and I'm super fast to go on an on about how amazing Zenni is and how they should stop getting glasses where they are and only order from Zenni. This time however, I got my order WITH THE EXACT same prescription and PD on the glasses and when they came, everything was blurry so I assumed all I had to do was send them back and they would fix them and that would be all. But I got an email saying that there was no problem and that they could send them back or offer a store credit MINUS shipping WHICH I PAID TWICE.

I order glasses from them and entered my prescription. When I received the glasses the prescription was not correct. After emailing them my prescription they claimed that I entered the information incorrectly. In addition the quality of the frames was very poor. I requested a refund and was told that I could either return them and get a 100% store credit or a refund of 50%. I elected the 50% refund and I mailed the glasses back to them. I got an email from them today saying that they received the envelope but it didn't contain the glasses. After spending 30 minutes on hold, the rep restated that they didn't receive the glasses, put me on hold to find her supervisor who was at lunch to see what could be done. Now I am waiting for a return call. Don't buy from this company.

I like the convenience of with Zenni Optical and the fact that you don't have to pay as much and you still get good quality glasses. A lot of times you go to the eye doctors and you pay maybe three times as much. I’ve been ordering from Zenni since last year and I've gotten quite a few pairs from them by now. I got two for my son and one for myself. When my son broke his frame, it was a smooth transition with the customer service. It was okay.

I wanted to change the styles of the glasses we’ve had before to something different. I went to different sites, but I liked Zenni Optical better because of the way I could look at the glasses. I liked the options that were there and then the people’s reviews helped a lot too. The prices were reasonable and the glasses were cheap. I have two little ones and the way my kids wear their glasses, it still lasted. They actually still have it too. I ordered some sunglasses as well and I like the stuff that I got. I’d like to go back and shop some more.

My son recommended Zenni to me. He said Zenni was good so I went with them and it was. I'm still using my glasses from them although I lost my first pair. It was one of those clip-on kind of magnetic sunglasses added to it and I had to reorder it again. They needed minimum two. The first one came quicker than the second one which came a few days later. It was $36 for the stripes. But I wish I had a bifocal because I cannot read because of the distance. Now, I have to take the glasses out of my eyes and read it. Next time, I will get the bifocals. I had a very pleasant experience though. They were on time and made a good follow-up. It was recommended to me by my son.

My last two orders of 2 identical pairs of the same prescription single vision eyeglasses yielded 4 different size frames. These people are so inconsistent in quality and performance. One of the pairs did not have the antiglare coating I had requested and paid for. It was my error to not open and check the entire order immediately but who wears two pairs of glasses that are identical at the same time? My recommendation is to steer clear Zenni Optical for quite a while till they get their quality improved.

Zenni Optical has an outstanding selection and value plus quality. I have been buying my glasses and sunglasses at Zenni for over five years and will continue to do so in the future!

It's my third time using Zenni Optical. I got tired of the $400 prescription glasses and I chose Zenni because of their pricing. I got my money’s worth for what I’ve paid. The ordering process was easy but I had an issue trying to upload the picture to see what the lenses look like or how the glasses would look on me. Other than that, the quality is great and I have recommended them to a few people.

I've had Zenni Optical for a year and it has been a great experience. Everything's been pretty good and I don't have any complaints. I typically go with the full-rim round large ones because they're softer on my face. They have a larger variety of options and their customer service reps are great and they communicate well. The ordering process was definitely easy, and everything went pretty smoothly. I got my glasses within a reasonable time. It's a great company and I will continue to shop with them.

Zenni Optical was cheaper so I chose them over other prescription company. I ordered a pair of full rim glasses online and I found it simple to navigate through their system. So far, I’ve owned my glasses for about half a year now.

I lost my glasses and would have had to wait a month for new eye exam and prescription. My glasses worked fine - I just needed to replace them. My son found this company- we ordered the cheapest option just to see if they would be comparable- they are! And I only waited a few days v. over a month. I saved some $350+ to boot! I am ordering a backup pair this week. I've seen a couple complaints about "cheap plastic frames"? My primary concern was whether or not the lenses would be accurate- they are and I like the way my frames look too. I could care less about "designer labels" - Zenni is as they claim to be... quality, timely and inexpensive.

I purchased two pairs of glasses. One of my children said the glasses made her dizzy and the other child got a migraine. I immediately reached out to Zenni Optical and was given the runaround. The woman I spoke to was shady in answering my questions and said I needed to pay $2.50 to sent the glasses to be inspected. Refusal of refund. Do not buy from this company!!!

My experience with Zenni Optical was not that great. The shipment for my son got held up at the U.S. Customs for 10 days. I was dealing with FedEx in trying to get the glasses released. I don't know what Zenni was doing on their side but Customs held those glasses and there was a big investigation around those things before finally releasing them. We had to pick them up at the FedEx office. It was weird.

I had a good experience with Zenni Optical. I've been ordering online for the last two years now and each time I ordered, I bought about three pairs of glasses. I always find what I want at a good price. I usually buy glasses as presents for other people and then they put their own prescription in it. I just get the glasses with the engraving because Zenni can put their names on them.

I love that Zenni has the frames and the lenses included for a reasonable amount of money. I have ordered with them a few times ever since my co-worker first told me about them. It’s cool because it’s so inexpensive, I can have several different frames to mix and match. I always go with the full rim and get the plastic frames. Those are my favorite as I'm always impartial. I like the way it looks on my face.

Honestly, I was a little worried after reading the reviews. I purchased 3 sets of glasses for $6.95. I paid an extra $2 for priority shipping which was supposed to put my shipping time from 10-14 days. Mine came in 5! 5 days! Also, when I opened the glasses they were all perfect. Thank you!

I've worn glasses since I was 13, and quality and comfort have always top priority for me. After spending $835 for my last pair at an optical store, I decided to try Zenni. It took a couple of adjustments, but Zenni worked with me and got my order right. If for some reason your order does not meet your needs, they will make the necessary adjustments at no charge. Since I've only been a customer for a couple of months, I can't speak to the long-term durability of the eyewear, but the four pairs that I bought appear to be excellent quality, and the total for high-index progressives was a fraction of all the retail stores that I've used in the past. Now I plan to be a loyal customer and will make all my future purchases through Zenni.

The frames were as expected, cheap plastic. The lenses were coated with something that made it where your vision is blurred. The glasses can't be worn unless you want to have a blurred image all day. Which honestly defeats the purpose of wearing glasses. I contacted customer service the day I opened the package and was told I must have messed them up. After escalating further they wanted me to spend more money to send the product back to them. So they could decide if they messed up. I asked for a shipping label. They refused. I escalated through PayPal and they would give a full refund once I pay to ship it back. I would have to spend at least $3.64 (you have to have a tracking number) to not have to have this product anymore. I decided instead of wasting more money, I tossed the glasses in the trash and am now done with it.

The Good: Prices, Selection, Customization (e.g. blue light blocking). The Bad: One of the worst return policies I have ever seen: 50% refund or 100% store credit (minus your shipping cost and you lose any promos for the store credit order), AND you need to pay for return shipping yourself. So really, even if you select 100% store credit, you still lose about $25 if you were like me and used the new customer promo and paid for faster shipping. If Zenni wants to offer poor return policies and customer service -- they need to improve their "Try-It On" tool. All it does it paste a picture of the glasses over a picture of your face. Almost no way that's close to accurate because there's no scale between your face and the glasses to know if they're sized or appear accurately.

My mom told me about Zenni Optical. I bought Gucci glasses from them. I've had it since February and it's holding up okay.

I've purchased from Zenni for the last six to seven years. They're affordable and I like the fact that I could upload my own picture and try on the frames on my face before purchasing them. Also, I like the quality and the frames are nice and fashionable. I recently bought two pairs of driving glasses and two pairs of prescription sunglasses. The online ordering process is very easy and this last time was the fastest shipping time ever. But about two years ago, there was a delay in my shipping. There was a holiday back where they were manufactured but they were always really professional about it. Also, at one point, I lived in Napa which was right by where they come from and I could just come and pick them up. I'll continue to order from them and I’ve recommended them to my family and friends as well.

I love Zenni Optical, hence the 18 pairs of glasses that I have. One of my coworker friends told me about Zenni because we generally go to Kaiser, but she knows we can only get it every year or two. So, she told me that she got her glasses from this place called Zenni Optical. Their glasses come quick, and you can do all the customizing. So ever since then, I have been ordering new shipments and colors. The last pair I ordered was a clear pair then I got it engraved with my name on the side. Also, the online ordering process was easy and I love that I can keep my prescription on file. I will order from there forever. I told my dad about it and he has ordered from there, as well as my uncle and mom. So it just keeps me going.

Zenni's website was easy to use and with the choices they have in their website, I decided to buy from them over another provider. I've ordered twice from them and have gotten two pairs of glasses with full rim frames. One got metal frame while the other one has plastic frame. I went with these styles because I thought I was going to like them. I'm not too thrilled with them, but they're okay.

I have ordered around four times at Zenni Optical and I really like it. In my very current purchase, I got the item number from one of the optical shops then I put it exactly in the Zenni Optical website. I got the product and it worked. However, it made me so dizzy that I cannot use it, and I was very unhappy. I have astigmatism and I like deep lenses. I wanted to return or change my lenses and I haven't tried to go back there so I used the frame and ordered another one from the offline store. But I'm pretty sure it's going to work on others and my sister loved them as well. In this country, getting glasses is so expensive and their company is trying to change the trend. I really respect that and it's pretty cool.

I was telling a friend how much I liked Warby Parker and she told me about Zenni Optical. Once I did my own research on Zenni, I couldn't resist. They offered glasses at a more affordable rate than the astronomical prices we're used to paying for a set of prescription eyeglasses. I had a great experience with them. A couple of months ago, I got my new glasses from Zenni and they actually look pretty similar to my Warby Parker and they were almost $100 less. However, I really like the fact that Warby Parker donates a pair of glasses for every pair that they sell to a child in need. If Zenni did that, I would really be sold and I wouldn’t even touch Warby Parker ever again but I can't expect everyone to do that.

I bought a pair of glasses from Zenni on the 26th May 2017, and my experience since has been just awful. Firstly the when I put the glasses on I immediately noticed how optically uncomfortable they were, with a very small area in the bottom at the prescription strength with wide areas that sort of "hazed" to the sides and top as you looked around the lens. They hurt my eyes to wear for any time and after buying many other pairs elsewhere I knew immediately that they were not of a made to a good quality optically. The build quality was also quite poor and it was clear that these were not items built well, or built to last! Secondly; when I reached out to Zenni to get a Return No. they made it difficult to get one, requiring me to send numerous emails just to get the clearance to send them back! This is sadly just a past of their overall cynical strategy of making it really hard to get a satisfactory outcome from them.

I've ordered two times from Zenni Optical and it was a pretty straight forward process. At first, they shipped someone else’s glasses to my home address but they did okay on the second delivery. They corrected it and sent me my order the next day. I've had my eyewear for a year and the quality is okay. It’s reliable but hopefully the price is going to come down.

A bunch of my friends had ordered from Zenni. I ordered a pair of glasses for each of my sons. And then after I had a great experience with their glasses, I bought a pair of cat-eye glasses and a cute polka dot pair for myself. They were super cute, different and not boring. It was straightforward and I didn't even need to talk with anyone. I picked out my glasses, put in all my information for what prescription we needed and ordered them. It was inexpensive and arrived super fast. I have four kids and two of them need glasses. I will never order glasses for them or for myself anywhere else as we've had no problems with them. My son wears his every single day and they're indestructible. It was a great and hassle-free experience.

I was in school and instead of having to wear safety glasses, I could wear glasses. Zenni Optical was cheaper and so I got the glasses there. It's long and wide enough that I wouldn't have to wear safety glasses. The online ordering process was pretty fast. I've had it for five months now and I'm satisfied so far.

Ordered prescription glasses at a cost of over $200.00 CND dollars. I was asked to provide original prescription. And did I received my new glasses in about two weeks. The frame was ok but I couldn't read clear from my monitor. Their reading part was too narrow. My old glasses same prescription were just perfect. I returned by mail and from June 26 I was informed today after a waiting time of 25 minutes that the glasses were ok and same as the original prescription. I was offered a 50% refund or 100% store credit. I asked that would take the 50% refund with the return of the frame. It was refused. I asked to return my glasses. When in the wrong they are always right. BUYERS BEWARE.

We bought our 11 year old daughter five glasses from Zenni. It's very convenient to buy from their site. It's better to have ones that you know are going to break at $10 a pop. It's a great service, well-priced, and good turnaround time. I am pleased and it's worth it. I have recommended them and I tell people about it.

My cousin had bought glasses from Zenni first. It's very easy to order online and they're affordable too, so I'm able to have multiple pairs of prescription glasses and multiple sunglasses. If I forget one in one spot, there’s another. I can also keep one in my car. I have 13 pairs of glasses and I’ve ordered from them twice now. In addition, I always worry about the quality that the glasses are going to come out but they weren't, they're really are good quality glasses. I’ve told everybody about it and I even have one friend who ordered from Zenni.

Over the years, I've ordered from Zenni 4 times (6 pairs of glasses + clip on sunglasses). I even wrote an article about online purchases of glasses which this site won't let me post. Bad practice. So much for being open and transparent. I took my first pair of glasses from Zenni to my ophthalmologist and the execution of the prescription passed with flying colors. With a little extra attention to customer service, Zenni could be 5 star. I experienced issues two times and Zenni first bounced it back into my lap before relenting and taking care of my issues (which were both reasonable). In summary, if they further strengthen their customer service, they could be 5-star.

I like Zenni Optical's glasses. For the price, the quality is not that high but they're fair. Their glasses are nice and good-looking too. I wish that it had been a little bit wider but I like the style of the glasses. I also like the model where you could see the glasses worn online. That's what really helped me to be able to purchase. I've already purchased from them twice and I’m going to go back there and look for more glasses when I'm ready to get another pair.

My mom got Zenni first and she recommended it to me. My mom is happy with her purchases, though her prescription got so severe that she can’t order through Zenni anymore. They have a limit on the prescription that they can make. I’ve gotten Zenni glasses at least once a year for five years now. I recently ordered the same frames that I had gotten already. I got a pair of glasses and a pair of sunglasses from them. I broke the glasses and my neighbor’s dog ate the sunglasses, so I reordered the same thing again.

I ordered a pair of sports glasses for my 9 year old. They were too small and was too lightweight for a sport glasses. Ok I was able to return them back for store credit. I decided then to order a regular pair. I received the pair. It was order under the preteen but here it goes again too small. (Age range 8-12) Something is wrong with their merchandise they offer. They are not the correct size on the display. So now they are giving me 50% refund only. Are you kidding me? I have been ordering from them for a very long time for myself and husband. First time I order for my son and this experience is bad. Therefore I WILL NOT be ordering again from them. So if any troubles know you WOULD NOT get a refund or another store credit. Very disappoint. I would of rather get another store credit and pay a difference if needed. But NO it's not happening.

A bubble formed in the lens of my new glasses after less than three weeks. I reported to Zenni along with photos and was told that was not good enough, that I had to mail my glasses back, at my own expense, which defeats the purpose of buying from Zenni in my opinion. Extremely poor quality and poor customer service. I'm sure they just want people to drop it rather than chase repairs. On a side note I tried to leave a review on Zenni, similar to this one, which has not yet shown up on their site. I guess they only allow positive reviews.

I have been using Zenni for a couple of years now. I worked with adults who had traumatic brain injuries and a lot of them didn't have money that they could afford to buy expensive glasses. Now, I'm a police officer and being at work, I've had my glasses broken in fights. I got tired of spending $300 to $400 and my insurance would not pay anymore so I gave Zenni a try. I'm using their metal frame. I also have a 10-year old who goes to school and she breaks hers all the time so, buying from Zenni worked out. The only issue I had was that some of them come not so straight and are hard to adjust. The frames are a little crooked so, it makes that hard for her because the kids’ frames are mostly plastic and you can't really have them adjusted. They also don't have a very good selection for prescription ones especially sunglasses.

I ordered a pair of frames from Zenni Optical and when they arrived, they did not look the same as the picture on their website. I tried to return the frames (which I thought would be simple because it was within 30 days of ordering, and the frames were unaltered with no prescription in them) but they would only allow me to get an In-store credit, and they asked me to pay to ship the glasses back. Customer service was not helpful and very short. When I explained the glasses were way larger than they appeared online, I was told it was my fault for not noticing that all frames only come in one size and may not appear true to size in photos.

I liked the style of one of Zenni Optical’s frames which had a magnetic clip-on sunglasses so I got a half rim which was also lightweight and had it for a year now. I like Zenni for its price and their website is extremely easy to use. It's very intuitive. It was my second time ordering from them. I ordered two full-rim and two half-rim. The online ordering process went smoothly, too. I've had my glasses for 2 months now and the quality is good. They’re great glasses at great price, which you don’t see often anymore. Prescription glasses now are run by a cartel basically. So I’m just happy to see that finally there’s a place you can actually spend a little bit of money to get glasses instead of paying hundreds of dollars for glasses.

I had heard about Zenni by word of mouth. Thought this would be perfect for me; prescription sunglasses at a good price. I received the glasses. The metal frame was very thin. Felt cheaply made. Obviously I didn't bend them but I imagine they could, easily. Also, in order for me to read anything with these glasses on, I had to hold the item out at arm's length to make out what I read. Totally defeats the whole purpose of having these glasses. My return options are to have 100% credit towards another pair of glasses from Zenni... Which in my opinion puts me in the same predicament. How do you know what you are getting ordering online? Another cheap frame? The other option is 50% refund of my purchase. I'm not happy with their product so I'm stuck with the half refund. Would NOT recommend Zenni glasses. 50% back of what I spent and no prescription sunglasses. Not happy and very disappointed.

There are numerous 5-star reviews for Zenni Optical. Unfortunately, there are many reviews that are not stellar and are much more revealing. I cannot find any mention on Zenni's website that their manufacturing is done in China. Unfortunately, that appears to be the case. The website clearly infers that all of their manufacturing (frames and lenses) are done in their massive 200,000+ sq ft California facility. Not true. The fact that their manufacturing is done in China is likely the reason that it takes so long to receive orders and that is one of the reasons why they don't mention the overseas location.

I am not a serial reviewer however, I have had a very poor experience with Zenni's quality of lenses and frame. It may not be as much of a factor if you have a simple prescription, mine was no line bifocals. I felt like I was looking cross eyed. I asked for replacement, which I received, no improvement. Please know that I have used the exact prescription with another online company, with no problems. When second glasses were not improved, I just kept them. Shortly afterward, those frames broke. I paid for new frames however, my existing lenses would never fit into new frames. So basically, bad execution of prescription, poor quality frames.

I ordered 80% gray tint in sunglasses and added the 'recommended' extra UV coating. I received the glasses with NO tint. Called customer service - 20 min hold time - and was told the extra UV negates the tint. Then why was it recommended? I was told I could return them for 50% credit. What a scam! Will never buy from them again, going back to Warby Parker where they back their products with awesome customer service.

I expected the frames maybe to be not quite the quality of a more expensive frame but I didn't expect it to look totally different from the picture on the website. I has shopped and shopped for frames and found a black and white frame I loved. But much too expensive. Imagine my surprise when I found an almost exact frame on Zenni. However when they came in they were nothing like the picture, they were black and translucent (as the customer service rep explained) but nowhere did they say that on the site or in the description. So they said they would remake them, (after I sent several pics of the black and translucent pair) free of charge and they would make them black and white as I wanted. Guess what? I ordered a pair of glasses from Zenni Optical using measurements from my previous glasses for frame #7810723. They cost me $85 CAD. On May 14 they were completed. A few days went by and they hadn't been shipped yet, so I called the customer service. The rep was hesitant but eventually told me the glasses are made in China and get shipped to the US after being made. That's strike 1. I looked through the full website before ordering and nowhere did it say these are made in China. The rep even directed me to a page on the website showing a picture of the facility they are made in, but again, nowhere does it say they are made in China. He had the nerve to tell me 90% of glasses are made there. Okay? So that means 10% aren't. I thought Zenni wasn't.

Having a 30-day guarantee start when you purchase the item, yet it takes 2 weeks to get the glasses! So that's really a 2-week guarantee!! I ordered glasses, got the glasses right before a major operation. After I got home from the hospital tried the glasses on; totally wrong prescription. Called and talked to customer service and their supervisor and was told that no exceptions, 30-day guarantee still holds. I understand about the guarantee but I'm 4 days past when I received the glasses. Please don't waste your money.

I have ordered from Zenni 4 times now. 2 of those times, the glasses I ordered had to be returned and I was issued a store credit. I had checked the box that indicated that I would be using the store credit to replace the pairs that I had sent back. Come to find out, they charged my VISA again. When I called customer service (was initially told 7 minute wait time, I waited 15 minutes) the person I spoke with said since my glasses had already shipped and would be arriving tomorrow, it was store policy that there was nothing they could do. I'm sorry - store policy to ignore your customer's request to use a store credit and charge a VISA card. The CSR offered a call back from a supervisor within 24 - 48 hours. WHAT? Fine.

I am very unhappy with the quality of the progressive lenses I received. I have new glasses through LensCrafters where I got my eye exam and they work great. I decided to order sunglasses through Zenni using the same prescription with a very comparable frame and the Zenni lenses make me nauseous. I can see only through a very small portion in the lens. I sent them back and they determined the lenses were manufactured correctly. I don't believe that to be possible when my Lenscrafters lenses are great. Zenni will only refund 50%.

Somebody told me about Zenni and it was a great deal so I ordered quite a few pairs of glasses (about 14) from them. Usually in the fall, when my Flex Spending Account is coming due and I have money to spend, then I get new glasses. I've even bought my daughter glasses using my Flex Spending Account. I have a lot of Wayfarer style and a lot of all the old fashioned kind of horn-rimmed, where they’re half plastic and half wire frame. I have to go to pretty big glasses size-wise so I have to get the temple length right on the side of the frame which kinda limits my selection a little bit. But it’s been excellent experience with Zenni and I’ll continue to buy from them. I have recommended them to a lot of people and a lot of them have gone on to buy from Zenni.

Just received my replacement order, 1 pair of progressive glasses and 1 pair of progressive sunglasses neither of which has the correct prescription. I returned 2 pair and was give 100% credit, to only get back the same thing in a different frame. These glasses are terrible. I cannot see anything near or far. They are horrible. Now I have to return them again to get another credit for only 50% this time. I really need my whole amount back or the correct glasses. I will not recommend Zenni to anyone and will never use them again.

I was a regular customer of Zenni Optical for years and was happy with their service. Lately they made a mistake and lenses had no cylinder and one could not see with them. I complained, returned the lenses for inspection and Zenni wrote to me the following: "According to our supervisor, we cannot inspect just the lenses. They had the little special buy one pair, get one free and their glasses will be warrantied for a year, but every pair that I bought from them would fall apart as soon as that one year was up. There was a consumer specialist here at Georgia about 6 years ago and he made these recommendations you should try. So, I took the specialist's recommendation and I ordered some glasses from Zenni Optical and I fell in love with them. They have cheaper and quality products. On top of that, I still have glasses because my prescription changed from 5 years ago but the frame was still intact.

I have worn glasses for 40+ years and in that time have probably had 20 sets of lenses. I have never had lenses scratch as badly and quickly as these from Zenni Optical. Both lenses have significant scratches over most of their surface after less than 2 months. I've not changed my routine or been in any sort of accident that would have caused this damage, also my work, personal, and lens cleaning activities have not changed. The only theory that I have is that the clip-on sunglasses that I bought with the glasses are causing the problem. Even though they are a thin plastic I suspect that they may be causing the scratches when I put them on and take them off. Also the corners where the clip-on pads touch the lenses seem to be particularly badly scratched.

Amazing quality, even for those of us terrible eyesight. My prescription changes every year as my eyes get worse and from here I'm usually out 500-1000 euros a year depending on if I have the lenses slimmed or not. I paid 80 for two pairs of uv protected color changing (to rose) glasses and though it took 14 days to get them customer service was responsive and even helped me track my package. Through email I received a response in 3 hours. I LOVE my glasses. The lenses are sturdy but not too thick (always a problem for me with a strong prescription) and they don't charge an arm and a leg for a product that people truly need. I love Zenni Optical. My family uses them and I tell anybody that has glasses that they try Zenni. I went with them for the value. I've been using them for two years and my aviators are my favorite. However, they should have a reward or discount for people that buy multiple pairs of glasses. I'm always looking for a coupon code. They have one but I can use it once. I've bought a lot of pairs because I like to use them as an accessory. That way I will actually wear them if I think I look cute and I have a variety. I was on the website, had a few minutes, and thought of seeing what's out there. I changed my mind because there was no code. I would have changed my mind and hit the button if I could get 10% off.

I've been happy with Zenni Optical. One of my coworkers used it and recommended it to me. I made two orders in the past year. I had one black plastic frame and one grey plastic frame. I like their quality and I never had any problems with them. Another reason I used Zenni a second time was because the website was pretty easy. I thought it was good.

I thought trying this company would take the place of not having time (travel most weeks) to go to some vision center and pick frames. I entered data, Rx in hand from doctor and once I opened them, I was blinded by them... completely unusable. Because I was not in this country when they shipped, I did not see the package for a few weeks. When I contacted customer service chat line... no response... over an hour. Sent email and they told me go basically write off my $120 and they will not address the order problem. The frames were ugly and not even close to the marketing pictures, flimsy and of the lowest quality. Run from this company. Poor product quality and ZERO customer satisfaction. DON'T DO IT!!!

I've ordered three pairs of glasses from Zenni Optical. I went with them because of their price. Moreover, their online ordering process was easy. I had my own prescription put down at an optical who did the check. I gathered all those measurements, got a report and submitted it. I checked the order online, received an email and received the package thereafter. I was lucky that I got a pair of glasses that I feel is very comfortable. However, there are people who don't have comfortable glasses and so, they have to measure from the face or head. It would be helpful if they have instructions so that the customer can measure by themselves as well and have a rough estimate.

The reason they are cheap is because these glasses are made and shipped from China. Have you ever heard of quality glasses made in China. They will take over 20 days to deliver and there is no returns for 100% refund; only store credit. Order from 39DollarGlasses.com. They are made right here in the USA and delivered really fast and they are really cheap.

My colleague had a beautiful pair of glasses on, so I asked where they were from. He then told me about Zenni, so I checked it out. I now have five pairs from them and my favorite are the ones that look like the horn-rimmed sort with gold underneath the eyes. They look retro and they used to be worn in the '60s. I've had my pair over a year now and they're awesome. I chose that particular style because I wear suits a lot to work and the glasses look good and are less casual too.

I ordered 2 pairs of prescription glasses both with the same prescription and as soon as I received them I could tell they were wrong. I took them to my eye doctor and he said that they were both incorrect and wrote notes about what was wrong with each pair. I sent the glasses and notes back to Zenni Optical for them to inspect and they are saying that only 1 pair is incorrect and the other is fine. I want a refund since they will not correct the pair that they say is "correct" even after my doctor stating that they weren't and that I should not wear them. I know they only give 50% refunds but I want a full refund since they clearly don't know what they are doing. Save your money and time and buy glasses somewhere else.

It was my first time to order from Zenni Optical. It was recommended by my wife so it was my first pair of glasses. I’m very happy with my purchase. The online ordering process was very easy for me. The quality was better than what I was expecting because the price was cheap. I was having doubts but the look and quality were very good. I bought two pairs. One of them was small and metal but in rectangle style and the other one was plastic and square. The metal one, I use it when I go out to church and I use the other one for regular hours during the day. I also got an anti-reflect added to my lenses for only $5. I’m still using them and planning to buy again.

Zenni Optical had a lot of choices and the price was good compared to our local providers. They're a really good company and I've worked with them for several years. The quality of their materials is good and their glasses last a while. I have ordered two glasses several years ago from them. Then again, I ordered two more glasses in 2016, and also recently this year. I got a pair and it was dark. I also got two extra frames. But then later on, I ordered the regular one for night with the clearer lens. I called their customer service one time and they answered on time. I told them I haven't received an email and they said, "Don’t worry. Your order is processed and you'll receive your glasses." I did receive the glasses even earlier than they told me. So it was a pretty good experience.

The glasses look great and the order and delivery was fine, but the glasses are terrible. I paid $700.00 for a pair at Lenscrafters. These started digging into my nose. Rather than order another expensive pair, I thought I would try this website and ended up paying around $100.00. Unfortunately the glasses make me feel cross eyed and seem blurry. I can't wear them. I did not expect the same quality of lens, but I did not expect them to feel this off. I tried but can't get used to them and I'm afraid they will damage my eyes, necessitating a new prescription. I would try to get a correction, but from the other reviews it seem all I would experience is frustration.

Zenni Optical's prices are very competitive and fair. They also have a very good website and their online ordering process is easy. I've purchased three times from them and I usually picked the half-rimmed type of glasses because they look nice. All in all, I'm very satisfied.

I was a little hesitant in ordering prescription glasses online especially with so many mixed reviews, but for the price I decided to take a chance. I am so glad I did! I ordered my prescription glasses on April 10 and received them on April 22. I have to add that I ordered a very basic plastic frame (again, I was afraid to spend too much money) but I was so surprise with the quality of the frames and lenses, they are compatible to what I used to buy at my local eyeglass shop with a price tag of close to $250. These glasses came to $84 total, needless to say that I am now a loyal customer. Great affordable glasses at last. I definitely recommend them.

I have bought off this site for a long time. The prices are good but as everyone else has stated the frames leave a bit to be desired. I bought 2 pair and received them 2 weeks ago. They have both broken not through misuse but poor manufacturing. They will send out 2 replacement frames and I can fix it myself. I think if you buy a pair of glasses and they break either they repair them or replace them. As they are really China based then repair is out. Do the right thing, don't sell lines that are not up to use. Luckily they are not the only ones selling online.

I've ordered from Zenni about four times now. It’s the best place to get replacement glasses for kids who go through them quickly. There was a time I sent back the glasses and Zenni returned them and sent them back to me. Overall, I'm pleased.

My sister told me about Zenni Optical and so I went with them. Their little picture thing where you can try on the glasses through a photo fo yourself was really useful. Considering how complicated glasses can be, the ordering process was simple. As long as you have your prescription, it's easy to figure out. I got two glasses from them. One has a plastic green frame and it's clear. The other one was gray plastic. I was not expecting much for $20, but I got way more than I expected. I was very surprised that the glasses are of a shockingly good quality.

My wife and I have ordered 10 pair of glasses from Zenni over the past two years. We ordered three pairs a month ago and all three were made wrong. Zenni insists that they are made right. They are trying to say I just can't adjust to where they put the change between distance and reading due to where they put the change on the lens. The frames and lenses are the exact frames I ordered last year and I had no problems see out of those lenses. We sent the glasses back. Zenni insists the glasses are accurate and they won't fix them. We have lost $285. We don't feel the replacements will be any better. The company basically calls you a liar if you have problems. I agree with others saying their quality has decreased in the last year. They don't realize that people want a company if there is a problem that they will fix it without a hassle. If you order from Zenni be willing to lose all of your money.

Zenni Optical have the price and the style I was searching for so I purchased from them. I've used every function that I can including returns and exchanges. I own about a total of four pairs and I drive everybody mad by changing them out a lot. I was curious about all the options. I got really quite addicted to finding out what all the chrome and other lens were and the blue filters, but there wasn’t a lot of information about them. I couldn’t necessarily talk to anybody, so I just kept ordering and trying things on and seeing what works best for me. I've also had a number of prescriptions from different countries and I have to figure out which ones work for my eyes. I have wound up with a couple of pairs that I wasn’t fond of and was surprised to find I can only return once per account so I ended up with glasses I didn’t want. But I regularly recommend Zenni Optical. I'm good at picking out styles that work and I'm happy to say where they came from.

The glasses are great but you should hope you don't have to deal with their reps! Sold me a product that I can not use and did not feel clearly informed of and will only give refund for new after they receive it back. Well in the meantime how do I see? They don't care. Their chat isn't working when I try and they waited hours to respond to me with an email of link trying to disprove my case which I didn't appreciate. I have been a loyal customer for years. Maybe I should try New company where they actually care about people.

I was a student at City College of San Francisco and had been searching for glasses. There was an ad that popped up on Facebook and it was Zenni. Then they posted something that they'll be at the City College. They were supposed to come to City College on October the 4th of last year, but they ended up not showing up. So I emailed them and told them I was trying to come and they didn’t show up. They told me they went to a different campus from the main Ocean campus.

I used the tool to try on glasses and ordered a pair that looked great. When they arrived, they were absolutely enormous and stuck out at either side of my face. I spoke with customer service, and they said that I shouldn't have trusted the tool on the site and should've used a tape measure instead to guess how the glasses would fit. They then said they would only refund half the cost and I had to pay my own shipping, both ways. Beware – this site is cheap for a reason!

I've been ordering from Zenni for years. While they tout themselves as a San Francisco based company, they have gone cheap on customer service. They obviously have outsourced and don't realize how unbelievably rude their support staff sound as they attempt to type in English. I was gracious enough to provide that feedback and tell them they lost a customer and their support simply responded with "we've cancelled your order" (at my request) after a macro apology line without acknowledging how rude the prior CSR was. NO attempt whatsoever to save a customer. This company has lost its customer focus. Good luck Zenni, competition is coming for you.

I gave it 2 stars because the glasses are ok for the price BUT if anything goes wrong, you're poop out of luck. Instead of fixing it they tell you it's your fault for not knowing your specs as if you're an opt. They will ask you to buy another pair 1/2 off. There's a man in customer service with a strong accent, barely speaks English, is beyond rude and unprofessional. My lens fell out because the plastic broke while I was cleaning the lens. He told me I can buy another pair half off or they can send me another frame but I have to put the lens in. I told him, NO, what I can do is mail it back on their dime and they can fix it. He hung up on me. Actually they're all rude. Don't spend big money in this company because if there's a prob...it's too bad for the customer. They won't fix it. Horrible customer service all the way around.

DO NOT order from this company. They DO NOT stand by their products. I received a damaged pair in the mail. After waiting seemingly forever to receive them, they ship from China. Didn't even have them in my hands 24 hours and they are unwilling to return them or send a replacement. Customer service speaks little English. It's a ripoff. Buy at your own risk.

I saw Zenni on TV and placed the order with them for my 16-year-old daughter. By the time that I went to our authorized VSP provider, it would have cost me more to order through my insurance than through Zenni, even though I'm supposed to have really good insurance. It was $600 while Zenni would give me two pairs for $80 so I decided to order from Zenni. She was mad about it but then she got them and said she actually loves them. They were old school-looking. My daughter chose the big thick black ones and then I chose the thinner-framed ones that she got that are rimmed. She hasn't had any complaints, and she complains about everything.

This company will not respond to emails and when you are calling the wait time is always hours for the first thirty days, day thirty-one wait time is minutes and they say that you are past the warranty period. I was sent the wrong prescription and child size frames so unusable glasses. So save your money and shop local. You can get glasses in days instead of waiting six weeks and then get screwed. Worst company ever.

My old man told me about Zenni Optical. He's retired and had to get some glasses economically. I bought from Zenni two Harry Potter glasses -- big round ones. They're pretty cool. I've also bought a pair of the John Lennon style, round, perch sunglasses with a heavy tint. They go with my motorcycle that I just bought. I like to ride around with them and look cool.

I ordered $70 worth of glasses from Zenni Optical and paid for fast shipping. I don't know what happened to the shipment but it didn't get to me. Whether it was stolen or misplaced I don't know. I paid for fast shipping because I start work tomorrow. They will only offer 50% cash back which is not right. So this company gets to keep my money and I have nothing. Worst company ever. I've recommended Zenni to other people and I've liked everything that I've gotten from them. I've ordered two times and I got full rimmed, round glasses that are cool looking. They're 80% to 90% cheaper at Zenni than anything I've ever seen. I already had my prescription, so it was a little easier to put it in. Their shipping turnaround time was seven days so it was fast, and their customer service emailed me a couple of times to give me the tracking.

I ordered plenty of times with Zenni Optical because of its price. I get my prescription from my son who is in prison and I can order and get the glasses mailed in. I order for my boyfriend, too. It’s convenient. We had one problem where we never knew that there's no receipt in the bag because it’s all electronic now. So every time now, I have to put it in the comments section “Please send a receipt.” Other than that, it's been positive.

I ordered blended (bifocals) lenses. The blend starts at approximately the 50% mark or in other words in the middle of my lenses. I have to wear them uncomfortably low on my nose to see. Other than this everything is as great as can be despite the surprise.

I have been purchasing glasses online for years. I know the width, sizes, and prescriptions I need. I bought a pair from Zenni and they are made with the bridge and earpieces in line, which means they sit low on my face, like bifocals. The top of the frame runs right across my eyesight. If I push them up to the top of my nose, they smush my eyelashes and are way too close. Their only option is a partial refund – 50% of MYB purchase, minus my shipping, plus I pay to ship them back. So, I'd get about 1/4 of my money back!?

I wondered how Zenni could make a pair of bifocals without a careful measurement of my eyes. The answer is, they can't. I ordered the largest frames I could to allow for the most room to accommodate the two different focal lengths. When I first received the glasses, I had considerable vertigo. I attributed that to the new prescription and the fact that I hadn't changed my glasses in five years or more; but things have hardly improved. My mid-distance vision, especially, is always blurry. I can't go to the supermarket anymore because I can't read the shelf tags. I can only drive by digging my chin into my chest and looking through the top 5mm or so of the lenses. It's pretty much the same with reading. I can only read by tipping my head all the way back and staring through the very bottom of the lenses; and even that doesn't always work.

I had ordered black framed glasses once before. They were in the women section but they were child-sized. Then, I have some blue wire half frames, and then a third like dark purple acetate frame and I like the way they looked. Also, the online ordering process is relatively simple as I have a complete prescription and I know whatever the pupillary distance is, what size and how wide are the glasses I need.

When I first checked out Zenni, I was amazed and thought, "How can they offer such low prices and the same quality and glasses costing hundreds more?" Answer: they can't. When I got my first pair I was pleased. Then the frames separated after a year, but they are still usable. In the meantime, I talked my wife and son into pairs from them. My son's glasses had the screws fall out after a couple of months. But the big part is the lenses scratch easily and I got the anti-scratch coating. The transition lens seems to be just a coating that has come off where the scratches are, so there are white spots after the lenses turn dark.

Tried to order a simple pair of reading glasses from Zenni upon the personal recommendation of a friend. I have used EyeBuyDirect for years without any issues. I was told Zenni ran 25% less for eyewear. I submitted my order online as instructed. Zenni made and shipped the glasses. I ordered READING glasses and Zenni made and sent DISTANCE glasses. I included my complete MD's script with my order. Zenni misread the script or misread my instructions. How stupid is that? We went back and forth with direct and pointed emails and Zenni would not compromise. I had ALL my emails and in fact I did order READING glasses. Zenni's attitude and cooperation was poor at best and lousy. They cared very little I was a new customer or that their existing customer had recommended them to me.

It was my first time to order from Zenni Optical. I knew about them from a search engine. I got prescription sportswear and I have it for three months or four months now. The product fits my requirement and has good functionality and price. I chose the very basic one because I use it very rarely and just in a very limited time, like when doing very gentle sports or slow running on treadmill. There’s a strap on the glasses which is very convenient for me. It basically does the job but it’s a little bit heavy. Because I’m doing sports, it will make me a little bit uncomfortable if it’s heavier. But I will continue wearing it.

I have ordered 2 pair of glasses from Zenni, a pair of sunglasses and prescription glasses using my eye Dr's prescription. The sunglasses work so so, the normal eye glasses do not, and I think that's because two reasons. 1) The lenses is curved and 2) there is bifocals in them. Some people have an awesome experience with them. I think it's best to just pay the money and go see an actual eye Dr. So my experience has never been good with Zenni.

This company manufactures and ships from China. The product is not worth the savings. Customer service is rude and shipping takes weeks and sometimes package is received empty. When you call customer service (online chat), their computer system "has a problem shuts off" when you begin to complain. They don't respond to emails and you are on hold for an hour when you call. Don't order from them!!!

I LOVE my glasses from Zenni! My prescription is bifocals and I was worried about that but the instructions for measuring for them were easy and they came perfectly done! I went from over $300 for one pair to $130 for two pair! Thanks again.

I purchased a pair of glasses, with plain lenses and clip-on sunglasses. What I received was poor quality - flimsy frames that I was worried would break easily. Then sunglasses were glued to the metal frame. Unfortunately, I hadn't read the return policy so, not only did I have to pay return shipping, but they'd only refund 50% of my purchase price.

The guy I work for told me about Zenni Optical. He heard about it from the Clark Howard's radio program, where he explains deals and how to save money. My whole life, I have always gotten half-rim type glasses. The good thing about Zenni is that I can experiment because it's so cheap. I have very little to lose. They didn't always have the color that I wanted so I've been experimenting with different colors. One thing I do is that I'd make my own prescriptions because I have an unusual condition with my eyes that even though my overall prescription doesn't change. It's not a straight line from how far away it is to how poorly I see. It's a curve and the curve changes. It's really weird and there's no way of pinning that down. So for $20 I can guess and so far, I've guessed okay. It has probably been 5 times that I have ordered glasses from them.

I have now ordered 4 pairs of glasses from Zenni, for my husband and I. The glasses were inexpensive and are of decent quality. The frames are sturdy and nice looking (one pair were a little more plastic looking than expected, but that style worked perfect for my dorky husband). I've never had an expensive pair of glasses, but for the significant price difference, I don't think there can be that much of a difference in quality. We even ordered transitional lenses and they work perfectly and were hundreds of dollars less than at my optometrist's office.

Purchased a pair of glasses with progressive lenses. The transition was pretty good after a couple of days. What bothered me was the website showed the glasses with a magnetic sunglass snap-on. What I received was the frame I did order but only a sunglass clip-on. The clip-on has two huge clips which are very distracting and block enough vision that I can't wear them. I'll probably buy from Zenni again but will verify the items on screen with a phone call before I purchase.

I purchased a pair of glasses and noticed a chip on the glasses a few days later. Called up Zenni and customer service wants to charge me for shipping for a new pair of glasses. First I need to send the glasses and after they received it they will give me either half credit or something. Couldn't understand, the person did not speak English clearly enough. By that time my conscience started kicking in and thinking why should I pay for shipping when it's their fault it's not perfect. I said I will no longer deal with Zenni and I hung up on them. Thumbs down on these clowns! There are other eyeglass companies which respect the customers.

The prices at Zenni Optical were better than what I normally see at regular stores. They also have a large selection of glasses to choose from. I wanted to try it out and see how it works. I ordered the frameless ones online and it was easy. I uploaded the photo and the people did some measurements. The glasses were something new that I haven't had before. I have them for about three months now. I'd recommend to a friend because they worked out very well for me and I had a good experience overall.

Purchased these #170111 men's prescription frame new on 100116. Worn only for distance/driving. Worn on short strap around his neck. They broke at the nose piece while he was wearing them. Just fell off his face while he was at work. Broke 1st week of Dec/2016. I contacted Zenni on the 11th & submitted for a replacement frame on 121616. Received the replacement frames on 123116. These frames just broke while he was at work. Again fell off while he was wearing them. He works in a hardware store, in sales. Nothing outdoors or heavy physical stuff to endanger the glasses.

I like Zenni Optical. Their prices were more affordable than the other companies, so I went with them. I’ve ordered a couple of times, and I bought nine glasses from them. I got half-rim and rimless glasses and they’re comfortable when I put them on. Also, their quality is good. Right now, I’m expecting one from them in the mail. I ordered it last week and hopefully, my pair will come in today. Usually, it takes a week for the glasses to get here.

Ordered 6 pair of glasses from them. Received 1 pair for my wife. She liked them but they didn't match the website. Temple kept falling off of them. 2nd pair arrived from another order and found that the 1st pair was not even the correct ones. ZENNI CS agents tried to make it work but had to send them back to get them to understand the problem. When they received them they said they weren't built by them and they did not ship them. Contacted them several more times. CS agents escalated it to corporate and corporate related back to the CS supervisors that they did not ship the frames weren't theirs. I don't know whose they are, or care, they shipped them to me and I paid for them thinking they were ZENNI's. Corporate does not wish to make a loyal customer and prefers to call me a liar after spending over $600 with them over a $110 pair of glasses they incorrectly shipped me.

I've bought from Zenni Optical for three or four years and it’s been good with them. My only problem was with the last pair of glasses which I got from them. They were too tight behind the ears and I had to have them adjusted. Also, I'd like to see some coupons. Other than that, I'm happy with Zenni Optical.

I just got my glasses Monday night (3/6/2017). I have never had bifocals before so I am getting used to them. They feel great and I really like how well they fit. They don't slip off my nose like the other glasses did. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get glasses.

Pretty long time for receiving my order. They make eyeglasses in one place, then send them to another and only after that ship to you. Lenses were off by about 0.5. Returned glasses for store credit. It's already 4 days after they received my return but no refund yet. Contacted Customer Service twice (by email and chat) BEFORE my order was shipped and it was fast and easy with very professional customer service BUT when I tried to contact them for Return issue, it is nightmare. No response on email nor chat at all and, to reach them by phone, I need to spend 1-2 hours on phone with no resolution. Eyeglasses themselves (including lenses) were pretty nice - certainly 5*... if lenses were accurate.

I've been getting eyewear from Zenni Optical for many years because of the options that they had. Most of their eyewear are plastic and fit real good. I got my half-rim glasses from them, and I've had it for months. However, these glasses are a little bit too wide for my face.

I needed the same pair of eyeglasses with the same color so I ordered six pairs from Zenni. They have a variety of stuff, their pricing's good, and it was also easy to purchase on the internet from them.

I am very happy with my prescription reading glasses I bought from Zenni Optical. I can't believe how much I paid for glasses before. I will always buy from Zenni now. The quality is there and you can't beat their prices. I also ordered a new pair of bifocals from them. I am waiting for them. They make it easy to order online. The selection is great. You even get a case and cleaning cloth with your glasses. I need to make an eye appointment for my husband. He will be getting his new glasses from Zenni as well! In my book Zenni is definitely a five-star rating company. I am so stoked that I found their website. Thanks Zenni for making quality affordable glasses!!!

It's time to stop paying high prices for glasses. There's no reason for it other than these people that sell them for $350 a pair are greedy. So I applaud Zenni. You can’t freaking beat their price. Thank you Zenni Optical for keeping the price low, because glasses are a necessity, not a luxury. But at their prices I could afford to buy some for luxury.

I've been a loyal customer for years. I ordered from Zenni because the eyewear was stylish, comfortable and very affordable. However, over the last year, there has been a significant decline in both the product as well as customer service. I've ordered three pairs within the past year. The first pair was an incorrect size but the hassle of sending the eyeglasses back didn't seem worth the small price I paid (under $25). The next pair I ordered simply fell off of my face mid-sentence during a meeting I was hosting. Finally, the third pair was yet another incorrect size, this pair clearly designed for a toddler with an exceptional small head. I've had it! There are too many other companies out there to waste any more time with Zenni. When I tried to get help via Online Chat, the first gentlemen couldn't access my order and told me to call back. Subsequent request for help were ignored or I was 'disconnected'. Guess Zenni doesn't care about losing customers.

I heard somebody speaking about Zenni Optical so I looked it up online and bought a pair of half-rim eyeglasses. When I called Zenni they answered my question promptly. I've recommended five people to them and most of them have ordered because it was a great service and the prices were unbeatable.

After ordering glasses for our child and waiting 17 days for delivery, I received an EMPTY envelope. I called and waited on hold for 15 minutes. Zenni said the best they could do was ship the glasses I already paid for (making me wait another 17 days). They refused to offer even a partial credit due to their mistake. When I said that wasn't acceptable and I'd like to speak to a manager, the call was disconnected. I then tried their live chat. Even though their site says live chat is available, I waited 20 minutes with no response. Zenni Optical seems to gloss over any mistakes they make and offer nothing in return. Their customer service is pretty abysmal.

I will NEVER order from this place again. 3 times I have tried with them and I'm done. This third time I used my credit. THEY NEVER answer their phone. Their answering service tells you less than 14 min then when you sit and wait it turns into 18 min and 45 min. They ship from CHINA which should give you an idea on how LONG it takes. I paid extra this last time and I'M STILL WAITING with no answers!!! They do not send you emails with tracking, nothing. The worst is when you try to get a hold of them!! IT IS NOT WORTH SAVING MONEY when you waste so much time trying to get hold of them... Save yourself a huge headache and buy from Walmart optical or some other reduced price optical place.

Zenni Optical has a really good selection. The website’s really nice and easy to navigate. The shipment is pretty quick and everything has been great.

I ordered a pair of glasses (with progressive lenses) from Zenni on January 9th and had them delivered January 21st. I paid the extra ~$4 for priority shipping to get them as quick as possible. Well with the exception that they have a lot of purple and blue reflections (to others), I loved them so much I ordered a second pair on February 13th. This time I did not pay the priority shipping as I didn't need them in a rush. Well they arrived today, February 27th. Paying $4 more, I received them only 2 days earlier than the basic shipping?!? Now with that said $4 isn't that much, however, it seems like a cash grab that people ought to be aware of. If you need your glasses fast, they do have a ~$19 express shipping option that is supposed to get them to you in under 10 days.

The quality of Zenni Optical eyeglasses is good. I’m pleased with the prices and it allows me to get more than one pair of glasses at a time. I’ve been with them for six years now. The orders come out quickly and it’s a pleasure doing business with them. I love Zenni Optical and I recommend them all the time. Excellent overall!

I had a friend that I stayed abroad with and she would wear different glasses with her outfits. I asked her how she had a million dollars for all those glasses and she said that she was using Zenni. I had eye insurance through my employer but it covered one single glasses. I already have glasses but I wanted prescription sunglasses so I decided to use Zenni for that. Ordering online was very easy but I don't do it very often and only for some friends and family members. The latest order I had was a pair of sunglasses with a cat eye frame. It was cute and big and would block more sun things. I also got the anti-reflective coating so that I don't see my eye reflected in it. A lot of other ones are usually more expensive so I got that slapped on. Overall, it's very reasonable with good quality so I splurged on it. It was a very convenient, high quality and inexpensive experience with Zenni.

A friend referred me to Zenni Optical and my recent purchase from them was a plastic full-rim glasses, which I thought were cute. It was very easy to order online and it took around a week and a half to get the glasses. The quality of the frames is fine and overall, my experience with Zenni has been eye-opening.

I have ordered from Zenni seven times now, and each purchase has been absolutely worth it. I am very satisfied with the quality of glasses and the quick delivery. Zenni Optical has really great pricing and a wide selection but that comes at a cost. I ordered two pairs of glasses and they never came. My package was marked as shipped and delivered yet nothing. The company gave me the runaround for a week (the allotted time since I paid for express shipping) and eventually said that I took too long to receive a refund. This was outrageous because I called them the day of said delivery and they said they couldn't do anything until Friday. Once Friday came I called immediately after UPS business hours ended and they told me to call next Tuesday. Tuesday came and the best they could do was reship the order.

I bought from Zenni Optical because of their price. I got the rimless glasses the first time, then a pair that has the bar across the top, and sunglasses that have a full rim. My first order was perfect. However, when I ordered three pairs two years later, all three were wrong. Their customer service was very nice, though. They let me pick different frames and got them right out to me. Zenni gave me 100% store credit and since I wanted more glasses anyway, I didn’t want my money back. Overall, the glasses are fabulous and the best ever. Whenever anybody talks about glasses, I say, “Zenni Optical, man. Go to the ophthalmologist, get your script, and don’t forget your PB.”
