Zenni Optical Reviews

The guy I work for told me about Zenni Optical. He heard about it from the Clark Howard's radio program, where he explains deals and how to save money. My whole life, I have always gotten half-rim type glasses. The good thing about Zenni is that I can experiment because it's so cheap. I have very little to lose. They didn't always have the color that I wanted so I've been experimenting with different colors. One thing I do is that I'd make my own prescriptions because I have an unusual condition with my eyes that even though my overall prescription doesn't change. It's not a straight line from how far away it is to how poorly I see. It's a curve and the curve changes. It's really weird and there's no way of pinning that down. So for $20 I can guess and so far, I've guessed okay. It has probably been 5 times that I have ordered glasses from them.

I have now ordered 4 pairs of glasses from Zenni, for my husband and I. The glasses were inexpensive and are of decent quality. The frames are sturdy and nice looking (one pair were a little more plastic looking than expected, but that style worked perfect for my dorky husband). I've never had an expensive pair of glasses, but for the significant price difference, I don't think there can be that much of a difference in quality. We even ordered transitional lenses and they work perfectly and were hundreds of dollars less than at my optometrist's office.

Purchased a pair of glasses with progressive lenses. The transition was pretty good after a couple of days. What bothered me was the website showed the glasses with a magnetic sunglass snap-on. What I received was the frame I did order but only a sunglass clip-on. The clip-on has two huge clips which are very distracting and block enough vision that I can't wear them. I'll probably buy from Zenni again but will verify the items on screen with a phone call before I purchase.

I purchased a pair of glasses and noticed a chip on the glasses a few days later. Called up Zenni and customer service wants to charge me for shipping for a new pair of glasses. First I need to send the glasses and after they received it they will give me either half credit or something. Couldn't understand, the person did not speak English clearly enough. By that time my conscience started kicking in and thinking why should I pay for shipping when it's their fault it's not perfect. I said I will no longer deal with Zenni and I hung up on them. Thumbs down on these clowns! There are other eyeglass companies which respect the customers.

The prices at Zenni Optical were better than what I normally see at regular stores. They also have a large selection of glasses to choose from. I wanted to try it out and see how it works. I ordered the frameless ones online and it was easy. I uploaded the photo and the people did some measurements. The glasses were something new that I haven't had before. I have them for about three months now. I'd recommend to a friend because they worked out very well for me and I had a good experience overall.

Considering their prices, I decided to do my purchase at Zenni Optical. Navigating their website was easy. I bought an custom, engraved, full-rimmed frame. I really like the glasses because they are very lightweight. Because of this, I've recommended Zenni Optical to a friend and she bought a pair as well.

Purchased these #170111 men's prescription frame new on 100116. Worn only for distance/driving. Worn on short strap around his neck. They broke at the nose piece while he was wearing them. Just fell off his face while he was at work. Broke 1st week of Dec/2016. I contacted Zenni on the 11th & submitted for a replacement frame on 121616. Received the replacement frames on 123116. These frames just broke while he was at work. Again fell off while he was wearing them. He works in a hardware store, in sales. Nothing outdoors or heavy physical stuff to endanger the glasses.

I like Zenni Optical. Their prices were more affordable than the other companies, so I went with them. I’ve ordered a couple of times, and I bought nine glasses from them. I got half-rim and rimless glasses and they’re comfortable when I put them on. Also, their quality is good. Right now, I’m expecting one from them in the mail. I ordered it last week and hopefully, my pair will come in today. Usually, it takes a week for the glasses to get here.

Ordered 6 pair of glasses from them. Received 1 pair for my wife. She liked them but they didn't match the website. Temple kept falling off of them. 2nd pair arrived from another order and found that the 1st pair was not even the correct ones. ZENNI CS agents tried to make it work but had to send them back to get them to understand the problem. When they received them they said they weren't built by them and they did not ship them. Contacted them several more times. CS agents escalated it to corporate and corporate related back to the CS supervisors that they did not ship the frames weren't theirs. I don't know whose they are, or care, they shipped them to me and I paid for them thinking they were ZENNI's. Corporate does not wish to make a loyal customer and prefers to call me a liar after spending over $600 with them over a $110 pair of glasses they incorrectly shipped me.

I've bought from Zenni Optical for three or four years and it’s been good with them. My only problem was with the last pair of glasses which I got from them. They were too tight behind the ears and I had to have them adjusted. Also, I'd like to see some coupons. Other than that, I'm happy with Zenni Optical.

I just got my glasses Monday night (3/6/2017). I have never had bifocals before so I am getting used to them. They feel great and I really like how well they fit. They don't slip off my nose like the other glasses did. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get glasses.

Pretty long time for receiving my order. They make eyeglasses in one place, then send them to another and only after that ship to you. Lenses were off by about 0.5. Returned glasses for store credit. It's already 4 days after they received my return but no refund yet. Contacted Customer Service twice (by email and chat) BEFORE my order was shipped and it was fast and easy with very professional customer service BUT when I tried to contact them for Return issue, it is nightmare. No response on email nor chat at all and, to reach them by phone, I need to spend 1-2 hours on phone with no resolution. Eyeglasses themselves (including lenses) were pretty nice - certainly 5*... if lenses were accurate.

My husband got full-rim glasses from Zenni Optical and he loves it and is very happy. The type of glasses that he wanted was fully round, whereas all the ones he did when he went shopping in a store weren’t quite fully round. Everything was done online and it was easy to order the glasses.

I've been getting eyewear from Zenni Optical for many years because of the options that they had. Most of their eyewear are plastic and fit real good. I got my half-rim glasses from them, and I've had it for months. However, these glasses are a little bit too wide for my face.

I needed the same pair of eyeglasses with the same color so I ordered six pairs from Zenni. They have a variety of stuff, their pricing's good, and it was also easy to purchase on the internet from them.

I am very happy with my prescription reading glasses I bought from Zenni Optical. I can't believe how much I paid for glasses before. I will always buy from Zenni now. The quality is there and you can't beat their prices. I also ordered a new pair of bifocals from them. I am waiting for them. They make it easy to order online. The selection is great. You even get a case and cleaning cloth with your glasses. I need to make an eye appointment for my husband. He will be getting his new glasses from Zenni as well! In my book Zenni is definitely a five-star rating company. I am so stoked that I found their website. Thanks Zenni for making quality affordable glasses!!!

It's time to stop paying high prices for glasses. There's no reason for it other than these people that sell them for $350 a pair are greedy. So I applaud Zenni. You can’t freaking beat their price. Thank you Zenni Optical for keeping the price low, because glasses are a necessity, not a luxury. But at their prices I could afford to buy some for luxury.

I've been a loyal customer for years. I ordered from Zenni because the eyewear was stylish, comfortable and very affordable. However, over the last year, there has been a significant decline in both the product as well as customer service. I've ordered three pairs within the past year. The first pair was an incorrect size but the hassle of sending the eyeglasses back didn't seem worth the small price I paid (under $25). The next pair I ordered simply fell off of my face mid-sentence during a meeting I was hosting. Finally, the third pair was yet another incorrect size, this pair clearly designed for a toddler with an exceptional small head. I've had it! There are too many other companies out there to waste any more time with Zenni. When I tried to get help via Online Chat, the first gentlemen couldn't access my order and told me to call back. Subsequent request for help were ignored or I was 'disconnected'. Guess Zenni doesn't care about losing customers.

I heard somebody speaking about Zenni Optical so I looked it up online and bought a pair of half-rim eyeglasses. When I called Zenni they answered my question promptly. I've recommended five people to them and most of them have ordered because it was a great service and the prices were unbeatable.

After ordering glasses for our child and waiting 17 days for delivery, I received an EMPTY envelope. I called and waited on hold for 15 minutes. Zenni said the best they could do was ship the glasses I already paid for (making me wait another 17 days). They refused to offer even a partial credit due to their mistake. When I said that wasn't acceptable and I'd like to speak to a manager, the call was disconnected. I then tried their live chat. Even though their site says live chat is available, I waited 20 minutes with no response. Zenni Optical seems to gloss over any mistakes they make and offer nothing in return. Their customer service is pretty abysmal.

I will NEVER order from this place again. 3 times I have tried with them and I'm done. This third time I used my credit. THEY NEVER answer their phone. Their answering service tells you less than 14 min then when you sit and wait it turns into 18 min and 45 min. They ship from CHINA which should give you an idea on how LONG it takes. I paid extra this last time and I'M STILL WAITING with no answers!!! They do not send you emails with tracking, nothing. The worst is when you try to get a hold of them!! IT IS NOT WORTH SAVING MONEY when you waste so much time trying to get hold of them... Save yourself a huge headache and buy from Walmart optical or some other reduced price optical place.

Zenni Optical has a really good selection. The website’s really nice and easy to navigate. The shipment is pretty quick and everything has been great.

I ordered a pair of glasses (with progressive lenses) from Zenni on January 9th and had them delivered January 21st. I paid the extra ~$4 for priority shipping to get them as quick as possible. Well with the exception that they have a lot of purple and blue reflections (to others), I loved them so much I ordered a second pair on February 13th. This time I did not pay the priority shipping as I didn't need them in a rush. Well they arrived today, February 27th. Paying $4 more, I received them only 2 days earlier than the basic shipping?!? Now with that said $4 isn't that much, however, it seems like a cash grab that people ought to be aware of. If you need your glasses fast, they do have a ~$19 express shipping option that is supposed to get them to you in under 10 days.

The quality of Zenni Optical eyeglasses is good. I’m pleased with the prices and it allows me to get more than one pair of glasses at a time. I’ve been with them for six years now. The orders come out quickly and it’s a pleasure doing business with them. I love Zenni Optical and I recommend them all the time. Excellent overall!

I had a friend that I stayed abroad with and she would wear different glasses with her outfits. I asked her how she had a million dollars for all those glasses and she said that she was using Zenni. I had eye insurance through my employer but it covered one single glasses. I already have glasses but I wanted prescription sunglasses so I decided to use Zenni for that. Ordering online was very easy but I don't do it very often and only for some friends and family members. The latest order I had was a pair of sunglasses with a cat eye frame. It was cute and big and would block more sun things. I also got the anti-reflective coating so that I don't see my eye reflected in it. A lot of other ones are usually more expensive so I got that slapped on. Overall, it's very reasonable with good quality so I splurged on it. It was a very convenient, high quality and inexpensive experience with Zenni.

A friend referred me to Zenni Optical and my recent purchase from them was a plastic full-rim glasses, which I thought were cute. It was very easy to order online and it took around a week and a half to get the glasses. The quality of the frames is fine and overall, my experience with Zenni has been eye-opening.

Zenni Optical has really great pricing and a wide selection but that comes at a cost. I ordered two pairs of glasses and they never came. My package was marked as shipped and delivered yet nothing. The company gave me the runaround for a week (the allotted time since I paid for express shipping) and eventually said that I took too long to receive a refund. This was outrageous because I called them the day of said delivery and they said they couldn't do anything until Friday. Once Friday came I called immediately after UPS business hours ended and they told me to call next Tuesday. Tuesday came and the best they could do was reship the order.

I bought from Zenni Optical because of their price. I got the rimless glasses the first time, then a pair that has the bar across the top, and sunglasses that have a full rim. My first order was perfect. However, when I ordered three pairs two years later, all three were wrong. Their customer service was very nice, though. They let me pick different frames and got them right out to me. Zenni gave me 100% store credit and since I wanted more glasses anyway, I didn’t want my money back. Overall, the glasses are fabulous and the best ever. Whenever anybody talks about glasses, I say, “Zenni Optical, man. Go to the ophthalmologist, get your script, and don’t forget your PB.”

I tried ordering and sending back and reordering 4 pairs and none of them were any good. The image was warped, made me dizzy, and was not progressive. Zenni itself admitted that the lens were defective and not made correctly so I had them try again. Even the remakes were bad. STAY AWAY from these people.

My mom told me about Zenni's website. They have decent frames and better prices. I've ordered a couple of times. The frames I got were a little bit of everything. I wish they had contacts though but overall, it was a good experience. The glasses I got were perfect for me.

Zenni Optical had the kind of frames I wanted at the prices I wanted. I’ve been ordering from them for a number of years. I had some issue once with my order and customer service was quick to respond to me. I would recommend Zenni Optical.

One of my friends had used Zenni before and she raved about it. I got half rim glasses from them because I've had that style before and knew its shape. I got on there, ordered what I needed and they came. I got some emails saying my stuff was being prepared and that they had shipped. Everything went as expected. I have a daughter and granddaughter that both wear glasses and we've already talked about ordering them some as well. It was an easy and amazing experience.

No website help. Confusing prescription values on website not normal, extra charges after a few days of doing nothing and wanting more money not agreed upon at check out. Would rate them scam or frauds for threatening cancelling order when asking for more money for unknown services. Stay away... Glasses take months, wants additional money for no honest reason, poor communication. Heidi and Traci are scammers.

I've been trying to rectify a situation whereas the entire nose frame/bridge (with the pads and all) simply fell off the eyeglasses. Everything is intact except for it becoming detached from the eyeglasses proper. I have been repeatedly telling Zenni of the problem and all they want to offer me is nose pads and screws, which is not going to fix the problem that the entire nose frame fell off of the eyeglasses. I feel like I'm talking to a wall, and it seems to take each individual 24 hours to respond to me. I couldn't be more dissatisfied. Buyer beware, you get what you pay for.

One of my friends told me about Zenni Optical and I went with them because they're cheap. I've recently bought three pairs of glasses from them. I haven't had any problem with their anti-reflective coating and I feel pretty good about the price. Their online ordering process was easy. Overall, it has been excellent.

Completion of shopping cart and placement of order brings up an "oops" and credit card not processed. Multiple chat help and telephone sessions did not resolve the issue. Three browsers used, cookies and cache cleared, computer turned off, wife's card and info used on order - all to no effect. Always the red box with "oops". Zenni would neither place the order for me or reimburse me for the $118. The original order ($118) which had to be returned was badly discolored and impossible to see through.

Glasses for 1/4 the cost! Pros: Get a good pair of glasses with great lenses at a very affordable price. Cons: You don't get to try them on and see how they fit first. They aren't fitted to your face by a professional. The lenses are fantastic but the frames aren't going to last you forever. One of the screws has come out twice, there's a little finish coming off the inside of the right temple and that same temple is a little wobbly even though it's tight in the frame. I haven't subjected the glasses to abnormal wear or tear. I think they cost less than $10 and another $85 for the lenses. No scratches on the lens whatsoever. My optometrist was going to charge me over $500 for a pair of some fancy plastic frames and high index lenses with anti-glare and UV protection. With my very good insurance, I was going to have to pay 40% of that $500+. It's worth the minor inconveniences given the price.

I have ordered from Zenni for my wife 3 times, her mother twice and a niece once. Every order has been correct and the glasses were exactly as ordered and much less expensive than otherwise available at conventional stores. One word of caution, when you get a new prescription from an eye specialist, compare it to the other ones that you may have had in the past. Zenni makes what you order (mistakes can happen). But I found obviously wrong prescriptions two times out of 6 by the eye specialists. Also, you must take care to ensure that the prescription is input correctly. If you screw up, that is your mistake. Zenni did ask on the initial orders for each, that I scan and send the prescription to ensure that there was no mistake and I appreciate that caring about accuracy.

I like Zenni Optical's price. In between my wife and my kids, I've bought 30 to 40 pairs of glasses from them. And, I just ordered recently a pair of black-grey plastic frame with blue lens sunglasses but I haven't gotten them yet. I liked the way their arms were. I do a lot of gardening at home and the arms look like they won't just slip right off my head when I'm sweating. And then when I was searching for the sunglasses, I was looking at another pair but then this particular one popped up that others recommended. So, I chose that.

I'm with Regional Assistance and a lot of the girls there had started buying some glasses at Zenni and they told me about it. After I uploaded my photo, I started clicking on different glasses that I liked which puts them in a queue for me and so the website saves my favorites. Then, once I've tried them on my face and I like how they look, I just put them in a cart and I go order them. I type my prescription in, which is really easy because it's labeled exactly like a prescription from a doctor's label, and I go from there. The last ones I bought are black and I went with something simple, something I can throw on with anything I wear. I like them and I've told people about it, so I've got other people ordering off of Zenni now, too. It's very affordable for anybody. Plus the quality has been fantastic. I've had a pair of glasses that's been through so much. Even a four-month-old has dragged them off my face and they don't break.

I received my new pair of glasses in only a week (taking in mind that it was a little delayed) and they are perfect. Just as described in the site for a very comfortable price. The glasses arrived in a regular package safe inside a hard cased cover with a cleaning cloth and a PD ruler. This is the first time I buy with them and I will buy more.

I ordered 3 pairs of glasses a year ago and only ended up keeping one pair. You can't beat the price, but glasses that make your eyes hurt are hardly worth even $10. I tried one pair a couple times and they always made my eyes hurt after a few hours and gave me a headache. I double checked my order and I had listed the right prescription, but they must have used something else as they definitely bothered me, unlike my other glasses. I contacted the company but they said they couldn't do anything outside of the one month warranty. They wouldn't even verify the prescription, which I was willing to settle for. I ended up throwing them away. Don't waste your money.

I found Zenni online years ago. They happened to have the style that I was looking for at the time, and I've been using them for years ever since. When we first started, the one thing that I remember was the distance between the pupils, which most prescriptions do not put down because they're trying to sell you the glasses. Once we got our first prescription, they gave us the little measuring device that sits on the bridge of our nose, and it was very easy to figure it out after that. Everything we ever got was exactly what we wanted and we've never had a problem with anything. I've given a couple of people on my staff the website, and I know that they have bought also and have been happy with the results of what they got.

My husband was happy with what he had gotten from Zenni so I chose them. The first time, I wasn't overly happy with the glasses because the screws were always coming undone so I've had to replace the screws numerous times. It's the frame-less kind that doesn't have a frame on it, and that was what the problem was because all that holds it is the wire pieces in between and the ear pieces. If it came the littlest bit loose, it was not right on my face and it would just move around. I called Zenni and complained to them and they said that there wasn't anything they could do except send me a new set of screws, which is what I ended up getting and what I've been using. I had just gotten a pair recently and those glasses are fine. I just can't wear them because I just got diagnosed with diabetes and my eyes changed so they don't work for me anymore. But the frames were beautiful and Zenni definitely has a good selection.

I ordered glasses with progressive lenses back in October. I spent a month trying to get used to them as recommended. Finally went to have them checked at optometrist (who first wanted to charge me $65.00 to have my eyes re-checked) and they are SINGLE VISION and even that is the wrong prescription! Called Zenni and they said they were out of warranty. You only have 30 days to figure out what their QA department won't, so don't assume it's your eyes, assume it's them.

Zenni Optical was my mother-in-law's recommendation and I went with them because of their price. I've placed several orders and the last one was months ago. I got a variety of glasses including some daily wear glasses, a pair of transition lenses, and a pair of sunglasses. I went through some of the glasses that I had owned previously and found dimensions and shapes that were similar to what I know I like. Zenni has an amazing selection of frames and a very easy ordering process. I first selected the glasses I want, put them on a wish list, and then put the ones I decided to purchase into the cart. I then uploaded my prescription from my eye doctor before checking out. I love that I can have a variety of glasses and I'm very satisfied with my experience with Zenni.

I ordered a pair of glasses through Zenni that were listed as being a tortoise shell color. I got them last night and when I opened up the box, I saw PURPLE all over my supposed tortoise shell frames. When I contacted them to complain, they said the glasses are stated as having purple flecks in them. I can tell you that if I had seen that description, there is no way I would've bought those frames. In any case, purple flecks is not what I got. I got frames that were so mismatched color-wise that I won't wear them. There's purple all over a tortoise shell color. No flecks. It's everywhere. They said they will refund half of my purchase price, which I think stinks. Way to stand behind your product, Zenni. Clearly it's not about the satisfaction of your customer. Half of a refund? Purple and tortoise shell color? Awful, awful, awful. I will never do business with them again. Buyer beware.

I've had a good experience with Zenni which I learned through a co-worker. I got half-rim glasses because it is better with my face. I love the quality of my glasses.

I ordered my second pair of glasses with Zenni. I put them on and wondered why my right eye was really blurry. I took them to my eye doctor and he looked at them. He told me that they put the wrong axis in the glasses. I ordered it with a (5) and they put in a (95). I called the company and they told me it was my fault that I ordered them wrong. I told them how did I ordered it wrong when I made sure it was correct before placing an order. Plus the they put in a -225 and it was suppose to be -250. They told me that I ordered it like that. The left eye was made right but not the left. They told me that I can send my glasses back and get store credit. I told my man what they said. Like if I want to have another pair messed up again. I am done. I will not recommend Zenni Optical to no one. I am taking my business somewhere else from now on. One thing that I thought it was funny about their policy. 100% money back guarantee. What a joke.

I've ordered several pairs of glasses from Zenni Optical. They have the same quality as any other glasses I've got but they're a lot less expensive. I was very pleased with Zenni.

I had an eye examination a few months back and was told my prescription hadn't changed, so I didn't get new glasses at the time. Had NO IDEA anyone could order glasses online!!! Not only am I pleased with my new glasses, I can actually see BETTER with these. The most difficult part was measuring the distance between my pupils, but the instructions were quite clear and it was actually a snap. (I couldn't find a ruler, so I went online and printed out one.) I will never buy retail glasses ever again!!!

I ordered two pairs of glasses; one plastic frame, one metal frame. The metal frame ones are looking pretty awful after about 6 months of wear. Much of the paint has chipped off from the front of the glasses making them look beat up. The size of the frames was also much bigger than I thought. In the end you get what you pay for, right? Low price, cheap quality. Just didn't expect it to be that poor.

I got full rim glasses from Zenni Optical. The price was excellent, and I love the frames and the way they look and fit. However, they seem strong so I haven't been wearing them. I haven't been back to my eye doctor to have them tested, and see if the prescription was wrong. The glasses were so inexpensive. I'm used to paying $300 for a pair of glasses, so $100 was such a good buy. So, if they don't work, I won’t lose that much. In fact, I would order different styles.

The ordering process at Zenni was very simple and straightforward. The only problem was the anti-reflective coating option. On the first screen, it offers the one that is about $15 and it has the special blue-like coating. On the next page was a regular anti-reflective coating for just $5. With my first pair, I got the $15 anti-reflective coating before I realized that I could have gotten the basic anti-reflective coating for just $5 on the next page over. That was a learning curve of ordering, but other than that, it was all very clear. I liked the little question mark icon where you can get more information on a certain lens type if you're unsure of what exactly you need. Overall I was very pleased with everything and I will definitely be ordering more glasses.

I liked the prices at Zenni and have ordered from them twice. The online ordering process was easy. I just placed the order and then got it. I usually go with the plastic rims and no pads. The glasses were great and the same goes for my overall experience.

My wife's daughter found Zenni Optical online and my wife told me about it. I've ordered five times from them since then. Everything gets to me on time and there's been nothing wrong with the glasses. I had to return my first pair of glasses because they didn't fit and they were very prompt and gave me credit and everything's been fine. The experience has been great and I've recommended them to several people.

We liked the glasses of some guy in Wal-Mart and he said he ordered them from Zenni. I tried them and I like how affordable they are. I don’t get my glasses covered by anybody, so I pay for them out of pocket. I've ordered from Zenni thrice and I usually get a plastic frame which I like better than some of the other ones, but I've had different ones every time. The glasses that I have received so far have pretty good quality. When I have them for too long though, sometimes the coating will start to come off, but I've had other glasses from other places do that too. Also, the choices are a lot but a little limited sometimes. I ordered for my mother and she has progressive lenses, and there's a whole lot less choices on hers. Nevertheless, I've recommended them to my customers.

I placed an order with Zenni Optical on January 5th. I paid for the shipping that would allow for delivery in 10 to 14 days however I am on day 20 and my glasses still have not shipped. Customer service lied to me on the phone and told me they had shipped. However when I asked for a specific delivery date she told me they were actually still sitting in manufacturing. No one can tell me when I will receive my glasses. I was told it may be another two weeks. They gave me a refund of $2.50 for my inconvenience. Are you kidding me? $2.50 does not cover the inconvenience of not having a new prescription. I will never use Zenni Optical again. There was no offer to remedy the situation.

I won't ever buy from Zenni Optical again. I bought glasses from them because I lost mine. They were supposed to be here in 2 weeks, but they didn't pass inspection so they had to be remade. And again, they did not pass inspection. We call customer service and they've made a third pair that haven't gone through inspection yet. By this point I'm so irritated I just want my money back so I can just go get some from Walmart. But, no. They only give refunds within the first 24hrs of your order. Which is outrageous. They wouldn't even refund the entire $8 shipping, they gave us like $3 left. It's been a week since we called, still no glasses!

Everything has been great with Zenni. We bought lenses for my kid and were very satisfied with the service. However, I was not that happy with the quality of the screws and the small parts of the frames a couple of times. I also had requests about the warranty and they did it.

I ordered progressive lenses from Zenni. Got them, looked great. Soon I realized that I could not focus the same out of each lens. I had to tip my head up with one eye closed to focus. Had to do the same thing, tip my head down for the other eye to focus. I returned them. Put my old glasses on and could see perfectly. Zenni replied after receiving the returned glasses and said these glasses are perfectly ok. My options- get a 50% credit on my purchase or get 100% one time store credit. Why would I want to reorder the glasses and trust they could get it right a second time? It cost me $60 to deal with Zenni. Can't recommend them to anybody. Save your money and go somewhere else that will stand behind their workmanship.

It was very easy to get glasses through Zenni and they also have good prices. I like their selection, as well. I've ordered from them four pairs of glasses for myself, one pair for my dad, one pair for my mom, and I've ordered a few pairs for my sister. I've had my Zenni Optical eyewear for almost a year now. I love the whole process of getting glasses through them. I've recommended Zenni to several of my friends and they've used it too.

Every time I call I am told it's longer than a 30 minute wait time. That right there makes me not want to use them. But the order was already placed. Now the problem, They have the glasses on HOLD for no reason and should have been manufactured already. I finally get thru, only to be told they'll email the Lab and I should hear something in 24 hrs, ANOTHER WAIT!! I am not happy with this company at all.

A friend of mine referred Zenni Optical to me a while back. I wanted to find out whether or not I can order glasses for that cheap, and they came out and were quality ones. I've ordered several times from them now and had several different types of glasses. The plastic full rim is the normally the one that I'm going with. I just ordered a new round of about five pairs about a few months back. You gotta go with it because you order them online and some could probably fit a little bit better in terms of how they stay put on your face or some of them might slide. But you adjust and there are other pairs that fit fantastic. I hope I can I get some discounts or some things as a loyal customer. If I repeat and they can get me $10 off the next order type deal, that would be great. I recommend them all the time.

I've ordered two pairs of glasses from Zenni in five years. One pair was a while back and then one recently. Overall, the experience has been positive. The most recent glasses I got had yellow tint though so I haven't worn them very much.

A friend told me about Zenni and the first glasses I got from them was a pair of graded computer glasses. Now, I've been having a problem with one specific pair of glasses I've got and it turned out to be different between the two glasses. Ever since then, I haven’t been able to get the right type. I was trying to get a pair of summer reading glasses but they keep sending me sunglasses. One of the kind that goes from inside glasses to outside sunglasses. The sunglasses don't even have the prescription. So I sent back the glasses and I told the young lady I spoke with that I would like to have a comment section where I could comment exactly what I want rather than them assuming that I want it. I don’t know all the terms that they have on their pick of glasses. Nevertheless, it's been working out and I don't have any complaints right now. But if it doesn't work out this time, I am going to look for some other company.

Going with Zenni Optical is a quick and inexpensive way to get glasses. A coworker shared Zenni's website to me and they have a good range of glasses so it was easy for me to find a couple that I liked. My first purchase was two months ago and everything went smooth. There's an initial shipping fee no matter how many glasses are ordered, and they can make the delivery faster by paying a certain amount. My glasses were delivered within the 10 to 14-day window.

I use Zenni for spares and everything seems to be okay. I did everything online, and the only thing that I had a problem with is when I put my address in. They put the number in and not the actual street name, so it was sent back. It took about two more weeks to get them in. But the lenses are really clear and in good quality. It's a little bit tighter than what my glasses are, so next time I'll call and find out if there’s a wider base.

Purchased glasses from Zenni optical, frames, progressive style lenses, tinted to darken in sunlight. 3 weeks later had my first pair of glasses. Opened the box and sadly the lenses are cracked, send an email and pictures of glasses they say they will remake. 3 weeks later another pair of glasses, put them on and play catch with the lenses just about every time I moved my head quickly or touched them, one or the other lens would pop out. Contacted Zenni, asked for a refund and told them I did not have another 3 weeks to wait for replacement, took the frames to a hour optical, later that day new lenses. Zenni optical refused to refund my payment, be very careful using this vendor.

Zenni Optical is cheaper and I’ve bought about 10 pairs or maybe more from them. I ordered a plastic frame online most recently and it looked interesting. There’s a large, round tortoiseshell pair that I wear that I think is the best. It’s probably the largest frames that I’ve seen on there. The quality is fine and I never had to get it adjusted. But sometimes when it doesn't feel right, I just don’t wear it as much. However, I feel that they could expand their types. I’ve been through their list of frames so many times. To someone who’s new, it would feel like it’s a large number of frame options. But for me, I feel like I’ve gone through all of them enough.

When I got my full-rim glasses from Zenni, I scanned my prescription in to make sure that I did it right. I liked that the reps at Zenni answered back right away to say that it was correct. Their online ordering process has been easy.

I'm in the healthcare professions and one time a patient and I were talking about our kids and she mentioned they've been purchasing glasses through Zenni and said it might be an option for me. We ordered from Zenni and my son absolutely loved the glasses. He's been wearing them ever since and even has two or three styles that are his favorites. Since that time, two more of my four children have ended up in glasses and they get all their glasses from Zenni. As I have gotten older, I now need reading glasses and I get them from Zenni. I work with five women and four of which who wear glasses get their glasses from Zenni now.

I design costumes for theater and I’ve ordered from Zenni Optical various frames that looked like 1950s that had clear glass lenses which I ordered online last year and this year. The actors said they were fine and we're able to work with them. My experience with them was totally fine. They came in a relatively quick time period and they were inexpensive, which is perfect for designing plays.

Great value and with great options. It is easy to get glasses online. You can get a new prescription, post a headshot, "try-on" frames, make your choice, use the online ruler to measure pupil distance, choose from many lens options, order! They were delivered within a week!

I purchased a pair of glasses from Zenni Optical. After I received them they seemed to be crooked and I was always trying to move them to feel right. I looked at them closely and found that one of the side pieces was put on upside down making a quarter inch difference in height from side to side. I contacted Zenni and was told because it was more than 30 days after purchase they couldn't do anything for me but I could purchase a new frame for half off. It was not my fault they were made wrong. Why should I purchase a new frame? We have gone back and forth with emails to no avail. Very bad customer service! Not happy with this company at all, I will take my business elsewhere.

Excellent value and quality of glasses from Zenni Optical. A new pair for me usually costs under $50! They also have very good selection and service. Consistently very good order fulfillment and turnaround. I have purchased my single lens eyeglasses at Zenni for over six years and have never had a problem. Well-made quality frames - clear optical lens - even tinting on a couple of pairs. I'm also a very particular consumer and Zenni delivers.

Sad to say but this place has gone downhill. I have purchased 6 pair of prescription eyeglasses in the past with no issues. But the quality of the last two pair has been very very poor. The first of the two arrived and there were numerous problems. First off they put the wrong prescription in. Second the glasses were not the same size as the advertised size on their website. I returned them and ordered a different pair. This pair came in so bent up I could not wear them. They had to crammed so much stuff in the glasses case it caused the frames to have been bent.

I was referred by a friend who was happy with Zenni so I decided to give them a try. I wanted to get a couple of different frames just to have something to switch up when I feel like wearing my glasses. Cost is a factor especially when you have poor nearsighted vision. I picked two different styles both with the suggested thinnest lenses etc. Note: I place the order at different times within a few hours of each other, the Zenni reps were very quick to notice and refund one of the shipping fees and put the orders together as one! Great customer service for online ordering! The glasses we received within a week of the order and I was EXTREMELY pleased with one pair, frames $6.95. They are well made, sturdy frames and the lenses are thin, not to mention awesome trendy fun frames!

Very good quality. Also, purchasing my glasses was simple, easy and less costly -- will use Zenni Optical again. Had to have someone measure the ipd, as that is not commonly placed on the prescription by the doctor, but rather is a measurement done by the dispensing optician.

I ordered a new frame as my current one snapped at the bridge. I received the frame but this was defective. Had to wait on hold for 40 minutes for a rep who gave me an RMA number. I was told I would have to pay for the shipping back to Zenni.

Lenses are very good and the glasses are of excellent value. Delivery was pretty quick, considering they are coming from out of the country. Frames are good, too. But they discontinued my favorite frames which makes me sad. I emailed and asked them not to discontinue, as in bring them back, but after repeated emails, they just kept saying they were discontinued. I got that, but I wanted them to say something like they can't.

I got my prescription from the doctor's office, where they measured my pupillary distance, then I did the purchase online. It was easy and painless. I got a nice pair of prescription sunglasses and glasses that I use for driving during the day or night. The evening glasses that I got were $10 a piece. I got three pairs - one for each car. Then the sunglasses were $80. It's a great value. It could cost me up to $300 if they're prescription sunglasses. Zenni Optical is a great place, and I have recommended them many times.

I love their selection, and I can't find this type of eyeglass anywhere locally. The glasses came 2 days prior to the time I had expected them. I'm diabetic so am conscious of eye problems. I love Zenni and I liked my overall experience with them. I've shopped there for about 3 years now and will be back again.

My glasses from Zenni were of high value for a low price. I have purchased several pairs and only had one break and that was because it fell off of a roof onto a sidewalk. They have many styles for different-sized faces, although the selection for guys could be a little more extensive. Also, it takes a while to get here. Several years ago this would be less of a problem. However, for the price you spend, waiting a few extra days is not bad at all. You can expedite your order for a nominal fee. Zenni Optical takes some time to get set up but once you know your pupillary distance it helps you find the right glasses for you. I have purchased 7 pairs of glasses from them and each pair has lasted until I needed a new prescription. The quality for the price can't be beat.

The frames feel sturdy and of good quality. I do find myself having to de-smudge the lenses of the glasses more often than the (pricier) pair I have from the eye doctor. However, it seems there are less options now than when I first started buying from them. But overall, they have some really cute and unique options that I couldn't find at my eye doctor's office (and for much cheaper). Shipping takes a few weeks, but the window they give you upfront is accurate so it's nothing unexpected. I always recommend Zenni. Glasses can be so expensive that many people who wear them can only afford a new pair every few years. It's really nice to have the variety and Zenni definitely makes it more affordable.

Zenni is way cheaper than the other companies. I ordered full frame glasses, which looks like my old one that I lost. It was easy to find a pair and it came really fast when I needed them. Additionally, I always get weary ordering glasses online because I don’t know what they'd look like on my face, but the people at Zenni made it very easy to do like uploading the picture. Everything worked out and I'd definitely order from them again.

It was the first time I had ordered a prescription online and Zenni was less expensive than buying glasses over a different company, so I thought I would give them a try. I have ordered both bifocals and single vision glasses. They're quite good with quality control. I noticed that my prescription was a little unusual and they contacted me to make sure that there wasn’t a mistake in the prescription before they made the glasses. I was satisfied with the results and so I've been a customer of theirs ever since.

Bought 6 pair of glasses and within an year all the anti-glare applications started breaking down on the lens. From what I have researched on anti-glare. Zenni applies a low grade anti-glare, which breaks down making the 10x worse. Similar to an oil smear. They had me return the glasses. Now I cannot get anyone on the phone. Guess you get what you pay for!

I've ordered around 10 pairs of glasses from Zenni. The first 7 pairs were fine enough and left me satistfied but my past three pairs I cannot even wear. I enjoy wearing larger frames glasses, but Zenni has made that impossible. Their lab technicians put the optical center of the prescription too low on a large frame and make it impossible to see. As we all know, thick rimmed frames sit on your face in a manner in which you look out the top 1/3 of glass and the bottom 2/3 is mostly below eye level in the upper cheek area. Unfortunately, all three pairs of large/thick framed glasses I have ordered did not account for this. The optical center is in the center in the lens, so that even if I had the frames pushed as high onto my nose as they could possibly go, they still don't have a clear vision through them.

I’ve purchased from Zenni many times. Most recently I got full-frame, single vision glasses. I had two out of the three pairs that I'd ordered that don't fit me very well, but that's my own fault. The only thing that sucks is that I can’t return anything but I always recommend them.

It was cheaper to purchase from Zenni so I went with them. I bought full-rimmed turtle shell glasses a month ago. It looked like Harry Potter glasses so I got them. The customer service rep was pretty helpful. I called them because I put in the wrong prescription in my first glasses and the return process was a little bit much. I didn’t know why I had to send it like today and then they don’t process it until four days later. There seems to be a disconnect. But I got their glasses for a cheap price, so I like it.

I purchased a pair of rimless glasses in September. Last week, one of the temple screws fell out. Due to the small size of the screw, I couldn't find it. I took the glasses to Target. They didn't have the right size screw, so they temporarily fixed the glasses with a smaller screw and nut, for free. They pointed out that one of the lenses was cracking where it was being held by another screw. I wrote to Zenni to ask for my options. They told me that the glasses were outside of the one month warranty. My only option was to purchase another pair of glasses. Zenni glasses are indeed much less expensive than from brick and mortar stores, but it shows in the poor quality. I've never owned a pair of glasses that lasted less than a year, and that were not fixed for free for a quality issue.

I found all the measurements listed on the website to be very helpful because I was able to find a pair of glasses that actually fit my face. I got a tiny head, so it’s hard for me. Sometimes I have to go with child’s glasses. But it was really easy for me to find a pair that would fit my face because of all the measurements. It was my first time ordering glasses online ever and I have no complaints. I put in two orders and emailed customer service and asked if my orders could be shipped together so I could be refunded one of the fees. I promptly received a response back that said that it would be no problem and I would see my refund for the second shipping cost in a couple of days.

I chose to go for Zenni Optical for its cost. I got a whole rim from them. I sent in my prescription to an email address and I got an email back saying they got all this and that I should be getting my glasses soon. Then I got my glasses and everything was great.

The lenses of the first ones I bought were made incorrectly and the Zenni reps said I'd have to send them back. Supposedly they're my prescription, but I don’t see well so I bought another pair that looked different. I asked to speak to a manager because the second ones were also made incorrectly. I paid extra money for the lenses of the second ones to be thin and I called because there's no way that they made them thin. The glasses are very heavy and the lenses are thicker than the frames.

I bought glasses for my 3 year old son. The fit was fine and he wore them at bedtime when we read to him. Within a month and a half there appeared fine scratches on the surface of both lens, in the same area. Placing them lens down seemed to have scratched the raised / curved area of the lens. I called to ask for help and was told that the "anti-scratch" surface treatment could not be 100% effective. There is nothing on the website indicating that ahead of time. Perhaps Zenni works well for adult glasses, but children's glasses should come with better safeguards. It was a waste of $50 (more expensive due to strong prescription). The pair that we bought at the eye doctors ($225) have not scratched yet. I would warn others - avoid spending money at Zenni's on children's glasses.

The ones I have are half rims, so I wanted something that looks cute but different so I went with a full one. I read through everything and it seems perfect so I didn't need any customer service. I went with the full-frame eyewear but the first frame I chose was too small so it was giving me headache because the lens was not big enough. The price being cheaper, I went with Zenni Optical. I have the half-rim glasses, a metal one and a plastic one. They are the glasses that don’t have the frame on the bottom and this style is what I'm used to. It was disappointing, though, that I forgot to use the discount code during Black Friday. I was really pleased with Zenni Optical's service, price, and product quality. My wife and I have been their customer for about five years. I've had to send some glasses back one time because they were scratched, and they corrected it with no problem.

I went with Zenni Optical because of the price of their glasses. I saw an ad that said they had $6.95 glasses and it piqued my interest so I looked it up on Google. Then I decided to go for it if they had $7 or $9 glasses and see if they're legit. If my dog again grabs and eats my glasses, I won't feel bad replacing them because my first pair that my dog ate the first day I had them cost me $20. So it was worth a shot since it was not that big of an investment. It was worth a little more than a pair of reading glasses at Marshall's but they're good. The frame feels decent. They're cute, stylish, and not heavy. When I had a question about measuring the pupillary distance, I chatted with Zenni online and it went fine.

Zenni Optical is affordable. My fourth order with them was a plastic full-frame. I wanted to make it different because I was always ordering a rimless. However, I just called to cancel because I ordered an extra clip-on shade, but they cannot do a different color of shades.

I ordered two pairs of glasses, one set was advertised as 140mm temples and the other was 142mm. The set that was supposed to be 142mm are MUCH shorter than the ones that are supposed to be 140. They are closer to 126mm. I think they put kids temples on my adult glasses. I sent the glasses back, including photos of both pairs of glasses I received. They won't fix the problem. I don't want new glasses, all I want is the correct length temples. I guess that's too much to ask. Now I will have a $99 pair of glasses that fall off my face all the time because the temples barely reach my ears.

I've come back and ordered again from Zenni because I was satisfied during our first go-around in ordering. During this recent go-around, it was the first time I ordered dual vision lenses and I had some trouble with those. I told them I was struggling with the dual vision and I was getting too big of an area that was blurry that I wasn't comfortable with, so they told me to send it back in so they could look at them. They received them on Friday and I haven't heard anything since then.

I woke up one morning to go to work and I accidentally broke my other glasses. Somebody told me to go to Zenni Optical since their glasses are a lot cheaper and nicer, so I did. Their prices are amazing. The glasses that I bought before from Coastal were $50 and these that I'm wearing now, which are perfectly the same thing, were $11. So that was a nice difference. I had my prescription with me so I was able to go online and order them. The process was really easy and fast. I got a whole rim black glasses that have blue within the frames. But they're big frames and it looked cool with the blue mixed in with it. I've always wanted some black glasses. My old ones are like purplish half-rims.

They’re prescription glasses so I need them and wear them all day everyday. I got their cat-eye frames. Apparently I should have read reviews before ordering. Today my glasses that are only 4 months old and have been worn maybe 25 times fell apart. Their only solution was for me to reorder a new pair at full price. This is probably the worst customer service and quality product I have ever tried. I will happily take my business back to Coastal.com and tell the people I recommended to you to do the same. For a start up company to not eat the 30 dollars the glasses cost less than 4 months ago, and offer zero replacement other than telling the customer to pay the entire cost of a new pair is atrocious. They must really need that $30 that you hoped to get from me again. Shame on you Zenni Optical; what a terrible representation of American Entrepreneurship.

Another mom told me about Zenni Optical. She told me that she had bought a pair of eyeglasses for her son, and after she got them, they were so nice that she bought herself a couple of pairs, too. So, I also bought from them a pair of eyeglasses for my son, and these were great. My son got the ones with wire rim. Everything turned out well. The price is great for the glasses that I got. I've already recommended Zenni Optical to a couple of people.

I actually have purchased several pairs of glasses from Zenni without incident. Certainly the price is right. My most recent purchase was also my most expensive, and they fell apart - as in the screw came out and I lost the lens - after a few months. When I contacted Customer Service they were 100% unhelpful. They said I had passed the warranty period - they would not repair the glasses or replace the lens. Not very nice. I was an excellent customer who received very poor service.

Ordered two sets of readers. Filled out paperwork exactly as asked off my doctor's prescription. Got distance glasses. They refused to correct and replace. They refused to refund shipping. Do not order from Zenni as they do not stand behind their work.

So, I just got off of the chat with Zenni Optical after 30 minutes of trying to get connected to an agent. This is my first and last order of glasses from these people. They said they can only give me a 50% refund or a one-time 100% store credit refund. I don't want store credit, I want my money back because you guys make low-quality glasses. When I tried them on, my eyes started hurting immediately. The glasses are heavy and the nose pads hurt my nose. I don't suggest ordering glasses from Zenni Optical ever. One of the worst companies I've had the pleasure of dealing with.

I have been a Zenni customer for years and have had a pretty good experience until my last 2 orders. I ordered a thin index lens and when I got them they looked the same as the normal lens. So I got a credit and ordered the same frame again and got a gradient tint. The lens came back completely dark except for a tiny half moon at the bottom. I sent them a photo for a review and the response was "yes! We made a mistake but we can't refund you fully (50% offered minus shipping) because you used a credit to make the purchase." Then when I asked for the corporate information, I received an email stating that the 1st email was a typo and the lens are correct and you can get 50% refund. I requested the corporate office again along with policy information and got no response.

I was looking around for eyeglasses to buy online and went with Zenni Optical due to their prices and selection, and because their website was very easy to use and pretty thorough. I've ordered from them a couple of times since last year. I did everything online and everything was fine.

We recently went online and purchased a pair of eyeglasses for our 9 yr old daughter. We placed the order and received our glasses very quickly. The frames we received were pretty flimsy but my daughter was happy. We have had these glasses for a little over 2 months and the left lens was cut too small and will not stay securely in the lens. 9 yr olds are very active and when I called Zenni, they told me I was out of the warranty period. There is a reason their product is so cheap. Don't waste your money buying from them, their glasses literally fall apart after 2 months. Cheap Chinese garbage. Don't purchase glasses from this company.

I placed my order on November 6th 2016 and received my glasses on November 12th. I was so happy and pleased with the glasses. They were everything I wanted and more. I made a mistake in paying for shipping, I reached out to them and within the same day they wrote me back and resolved the issue. I will def be buying from them again!

I needed to buy glasses because mine were broken. I had no insurance. I looked online and asked one of my Facebook groups and Zenni Optical was the one that came across the most. I got the full rim plastic single vision ones. Shopping was really quick. I ordered Wednesday morning at 11:00 AM and had the glasses by Friday at 6:00 PM. I had ordered the fastest shipping which was seven days so I was expecting it the next week but then got those in three days. I fully plan on purchasing at least two more pairs of glasses from Zenni Optical.

I called twice for help while trying to place an order online. The first time I hung up after holding for 8 minutes. The second time I hung up after 6 minutes. Then I tried live chat. "Shirley" entered the chatroom after I'd waited a minute or so, then it was a typical wait of 2-3 minutes for each response from her. We got to the question "are you ordering glasses for reading, computer or distance?" I answered it. After several minutes of waiting I typed "hello, are you still there?" Only to get the same question. I answered it again and after another 2-3 minute wait got the same question. That's when I disconnected. I don't know how these people stay in business. I will be buying glasses elsewhere.

After only 2 months of normal/light use, cracks appear on both lenses around the nose bridge screws. The left lens is almost falling off with big cracks and the right lens has multiple spider net like cracks. AND, they are not the low-index lenses, they are mid-index ones. I am very disappointed with such low quality products. This is the first glasses I have that cracked less than 3 years from all the glasses I have ever had. I even have low-index lenses from other companies before and they still stand after 3+ yrs.

I have been a customer of Zenni Optical for a number of years. I am ready to reorder but their website has changed. I wanted to order glasses with a specific frame. The website does not allow that. I attempted to call their customer service phone number. It said to wait for the next available agent. After 30 minutes, I gave and tried later. Same problem. I tried again today - same problem. I have wasted more than an hour and a half waiting for the unavailable agent. I don't know if they are still in business.

I've ordered at least five pairs of glasses for me, my son, and my husband, and those include a pair of rimless, a plastic, and some metal ones. I did everything online which was easy and everything came in the way I ordered. Zenni got really good quality glasses and pretty much speedy service.

Purchased a pair of eyeglasses from this site less than six months ago. The frames have been gradually coming apart at the joints for a while. A couple weeks ago, one rear piece fell off entirely. Though there is a fake screw head at the attachment point, the attachment mechanism is not a screw--it's some sort of pivoting tab. I've never seen anything like it. Two jewelers I took the glasses to said they couldn't repair them. They weren't repairable. I called Zenni, hoping they at least were capable of repairing their own product. I was jerked around--they said they'd call back, but I had to call back (days later) only to be told that the best they could do was to sell me the same frames at half off. How is asking me for more money a solution to this problem? Losers.

Another concern was I have a big head and finding a good fit is not easy for me, so ordering without trying first was a gamble (actually for $20 compared to $400... I would risk it). I decided to pull out this old trusty tool called a RULER and made sure the measurements matched glasses I already had that fit great. A magical thing happened when my glasses arrived. They fit GREAT! Measurements are accurate, prescription was right on. Mine do not have a "cheap china made" feel to them. They look great and seem durable so far. I am very glad I took the risk. So do your work and I can say Zenni wont disappoint.

I bought a pair of Progressive lens glasses from Zenni. My first interaction with them. I wore them less than a dozen times and they just broke. No rough treatment. Never squished or dropped. Always in the case if they weren't on my face. Just snapped where the top of the frame meets the nose and I can't even wrap the frame around the lens now. They aren't even quite the same shape. But because it was more than 30 days after my order, too bad so sad, you've just flushed a hundred bucks down the drain. And after having the issue, and their 'inability' to help me out, I see that many many people have either had the same issue with plastic frame glasses or have gotten really bad glasses (partly my fault for not reading the reviews) but really, a decent company would work with a first time customer. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I love my Zenni Optical. Their prices attracted me so I started off with ordering a pair of glasses. I wanted to see how they did and they did excellently. So I ordered two more. I now have with two full-rim tortoise shell glasses and a pair of sunglasses. Everything has always gone smoothly when I order online. It took me so long to order the first pair because I couldn't figure out how to import my prescription but after I learned how to, it's a breeze. The glasses come fitting well and I never had to go to my optometrist and get them fitted. The prescription is spot on. My friend and my sister ordered glasses from them as well. I'll be back.

So, when I got the first pair that I ordered wrongly, they were good at responding through e-mail on what I should do and how I could return them. I ordered the thinnest lens possible, 1.74 high index, and after 3 weeks waiting, it came much thicker than my regular lens from an old pair of eyeglasses that were 4 years old that had even stronger prescription than this new one. I had to pay to have it shipped back to them for "inspection" which turns out to be denial on their part of anything wrong with their product. I guess their lens is substandard and misrepresented when they use the same index rating as with other companies. They gave me two options, either get full store credit and order a different pair of the same substandard lenses, or get only 50% refund. That's a big loss on my part. So I ordered a different pair with smaller frame, with the hope that it won't be as thick as the first one.

I purchased sunglasses Sept 16, 2016 and received them Oct 1. Wish I had read reviews before making the purchase. The plastic frames made in China were not only flimsy and ill-fitting but ugly! I paid $100.26 and because of their return policy will receive only $47.50 refund (less than 50% and I even had to pay return shipping).

About 18 months ago I had to return a pair that broke and had dramas even getting a reply and although they were within their "warranty" period they only offered me a 50% discount on another pair. Recently I had to get glasses at very short notice and bought 3 pairs from Zenni. The first pair; the arm fell off within 2 weeks. I returned the spectacles to Zenni for repair and refund of postage. They sent me a bag of screws and plastic washers and no instructions of what to do with them... BUT didn't return my glasses. I emailed them asking for instructions and my glasses. They arrived this week still broken.

I love, love, love my glasses that I got from Zenni. Beautiful and very affordable for this senior citizen who has no visual health coverage. BUT, my husband's experience was completely the opposite. Within the first day of wearing his new glasses, a screw fell out and so did one lens. He repaired the glasses by using a different screw to secure the lens to the frame, and the very next day, 2 days after receiving the glasses, the other screw on the other lens fell out and that lens also fell out. So he requested a repair from Zenni.

Hello, I just used Zenni Optical for the first time. I thought it would be a great experience since my family uses Zenni Optical and they have no complaints. Unfortunately I have a few. I received glasses that I bought last Tuesday. I can't see a thing out of them and they give me motion sickness. So I called and asked for a refund. I don't see why I can't get a 100% of my money back, you guys will only give me 50% back. Also, I have to pay shipping to ship them back even though they are defective and it is a factory mistake. For me to pay shipping for sending them back and getting a new pair is the cost of 3 pairs of glasses. So I called back the next day and left a message for a manager, and they never got back to me. Unfortunately, your company just lost a couple of customers.

I have tried other websites and I wanted to try something different. A friend told me about Zenni Optical and I got a full-rim eyewear from them. But then I had to return one because it was way too big. The dimensions were way off on my face and really huge. It was not good at all when I took a picture. The description also had said they were like tortoiseshell but they were extremely dark. They were like black and not brown so that was misleading. I kept the other pair because I needed something since my other glasses had broken. Now I still have a credit because of the one I had to return.

I ordered 2 pairs of progressive lens bifocals from Zenni Opitcal in June. One of my pairs was very heavy and the lenses were very thick and stuck out beyond the frame. The other pair was much lighter and did not stick out beyond the frame. Both pairs were ordered on the same day, with the same prescription and with the same type of lenses. The first pair I describe above was significantly different than the other pair. However, I really liked the frames (and really liked the clip on sunglasses) and I proceeded to wear them. The lenses became scratched very badly and the frames became so loose that they were constantly slipping down my face.

Zenni Optical was about the only one that had the mail order at a really good price at the time I had to buy eyewear. I like them a lot. However, the frame was real flimsy on one of the pairs that my husband and I bought from them. And on the other one, the prescription wasn't exactly right. I sent them back and we got 100% credit sitting there but my husband can't decide what he wants to buy right now. We got emails from them that the credit was there and it's clear that they want me to spend it. They don't want to put it back in their account. Also, I have a pair of red cat-eye glasses that have been a big hit with lots of people but they quit making them. I'm a school librarian and this is the first pair of glasses I ever ordered just for fun. They're also the most comfortable glasses I've ever had.

I would encourage anyone considering purchasing from Zenni to purchase with caution. I purchased five pairs of glasses and every pair, except one, gives me severe headaches almost instantly. I am assuming they were made with the wrong prescription. As I have seen from other reviews, they frequently are manufactured incorrectly and I am assuming that is what happened to me 4/5 times or 80% of the time. That is not a very strong ratio and certainly not a very strong product. Like I said, purchase with caution. I know there are other, more sterling providers out there that likely have better products.

I am hoping that Zenni will correct this problem. I brought my glasses in July. I didn't realize there was a 30 return policy. Of course that is my fault. But when I received the glasses, which I do like and look good in, the lens was strong. So because of this I thought well my eyes need to adjust to them. Well it's been two months and my eyes aren't adjusting. I get nauseous wearing them. I call today and talked to a representative that informed me that I need to call back with my prescription. But that it has been over 30 days. I just hope they correct the problem. The price was great, the glasses I love. I'm hoping to have a long business relationship with Zenni. Their return policy has to change.

I have bought glasses from Zenni in the past when they were the "cheapie" on the block. Only had one incident when they refused to take back a defective product. My last pair ordered about a year ago, suffered a break in the earpiece when I tried to adjust it for comfort. Unheard of!!! Crap plastic. I had a similar pair previously and attempted to replace the temple/earpiece. They have an internal spring/detent which is superfluous except for making it impossible to replace the t/e_piece without special tools.

After I ordered my first pair, they sent me a little measuring stick that we could use to order the next pair and measure the pupil where they were. So it is an amazingly great value and very creative. I have recommended to a friend.

But wait... within 6 months the lens started cracking from the point where the frame is attached to the glasses. This is due to poor craftsmanship. I contacted Zenni Optical. First they told me that as it's already more than a month, they cannot do anything and then they wrote a paragraph on how to take care of my glasses. It could include the Transition and the photo chromatics ‘cause that was one of those that I was trying to figure out.

I ordered some reading glasses from Zenni Optical. However, since I also ordered some progressives, they have to be more coordinated with pupil displacement. But other than that, everything has been pretty awesome. This is my second purchase of reading glasses from them - the first being two years ago. I chose to purchase from them because of their price and well-designed website. However, their website is a little bit limited in terms of having smaller glasses and frames for narrow heads like myself. Nevertheless in their website, I was able to place frames on the picture that I provided and it works really well. It was a very satisfying experience - it doesn't take long to get them and they're very reasonably priced.

Their service team is wonderful. Although sometimes the frame I choose is not right, I didn't waste too much money. I can reorder a different one. However, their website has changed through time. The menu is not easy to learn unlike before and it doesn't guide us to find what type of glasses we need to choose. It would be wonderful if I could lessen the chances to make mistakes since when I start ordering, I don't know what kind of frame will fit me well.

Zenni Optical won't post my review. Zenni Optical will not post your review if it's unsatisfactory. You'll see a few bad ones... I guess just for the "show." When it comes to serious matter, that would hurt their business they'll just ignore your review and you'll never see it posted. I verified this myself. So when you shop at Zenni, just ignore all those wonderful comments and use your judgement and common sense, and don't forget if it's too cheap to be true... it's not. You'll get what you paid for and you might end up with a USD 149 useless pair of glasses like I did.

My mom had told me about Zenni Optical from a friend who is using it for her kids. I have five kids and my husband and I both wear glasses, so it's cheaper to go with them than others. My husband and I usually do a full rim and as for our kids, we usually do the full rims as well, but also half rims sometimes. We've been customers for about two years and it was our second time to order. Everything is easy and convenient. One of the things that I liked a lot was being able to choose the specific sizes as far as the width of the lens because I like to get a smaller size glasses. And right now, the style is the big one so I didn't wanna have to sort through all of that. I was able to plug in the height of the lens. And that made my ordering a lot easier.

I was excited to try Zenni as I live on Social Security. I have had such a horrible experience. Customer service manager James was rude and upsetting. I wear bifocal progressives. It cost me more than $100 and $22.30 in shipping back and forth 3 times. How is it so hard to get both lenses the same. Very poor quality 3 times. I was told that their mistake was my mistake and I would only get a 50% refund. Horrible service, policies, and workmanship. I will never order from them again. You shouldn't either.

DO NOT ORDER FROM ZENNI! Zenni Optical is a super sketchy business from my experience. I ordered 2 pairs of sunglasses, both 80% grey, one with mirror coat and one without. When I received my order, both pairs looked blue, not grey. I compared the 2 pairs to an 80% grey sunglasses (also mirror coated) I ordered from Zenni in a previous order. The 2 new pairs I got were obviously blue tint, not grey. I returned to 2 blue pairs back to Zenni for inspection.

Ordered two pairs progressive vision and arrived perfect! I'm in Puerto Rico and saw a lady at the pharmacy and asked her about her nice lenses. She introduced me to Zenni Optical, glad she did and I ordered with no problem. Only two days using the lenses but happy with them. Will continue patronizing the site.

A friend that have used Zenni Optical told us about them. It was their cost that made us choose them and we ended up purchasing full rim glasses for my daughter. She thought it was cute in the picture. We purchased online which was easy for her because she's computer savvy. She also helped my mother-in-law in purchasing her glasses and my mother-in-law's real happy with them. It was an awesome experience and we would definitely use them again for my daughter.

When ordering sports goggles for my son, a customer service rep (CSR) helped me out over the phone. She was extremely helpful and I thought her service would mean exceptional service and products going forward. A couple weeks after placing the order, the goggles arrived but the prescription was wrong. I called customer service and got connected to a very, VERY unhelpful and uncooperative individual. The CSR would ignore what I said and would constantly repeat herself. It was like she was reading off a script rather than trying to work with a customer who was trying to work with the company... After all, we both felt we were in the right so we both should be able to make concessions. If it wasn't for the first CSR experience, I would have given less stars. She did an outstanding job and I don't want to discredit her efforts.

I was in need of some glasses after I lost mine, and looking for a cheap replacement. A friend of mine recommended Zenni Optical. I looked at their website, and was surprised that they were inexpensive but not necessarily cheap. I got a full rim plastic glasses from them which I've been wearing it for five months. I took a long trip recently and forgot to bring glasses, and figured the best solution was to just order some new ones from Zenni Optical. I ordered some new ones four weeks ago. The online ordering process was very easy.

Why sell an inferior product? You lied on the description of the frames with "strong stainless steel" a cold stick of butter is stronger! Nose pads fell off and hinge broke. I have been wearing glasses for all my life and never had the poor quality of these.

Zenni Optical has cheaper products like $6.95 for a pair of glasses or $4.95 for as many pairs as I want to order. The online ordering process is easy for the most part too. I generally do it off my phone. It's not as easy as it is on a computer but it's still not that hard. Shipping and handling is good as well. I've ordered multiple times from them and been one of their customers for three years now. I always recommend Zenni Optical. There was one time though that I contacted their customer service team because I got a pair of glasses with a lens that didn't fit right in the frame part but I opted not to pursue it or send it back in because it's too much of a hassle.

I would like to caution anyone considering using the online company, Zenni Optical, to purchase glasses. While their rates are reasonable, the quality of their product leave much to be desired. After just a few months, both of my lenses warped. When I addressed the issue with the company (without suggesting replacement or refund), Leo ** returned my message with a disclaimer that the 30 days had passed for refund or replacement. I will put my money in a direction that stands by their product from now on.

My sister-in-law recommended Zenni Optical and I've been a customer for at least 2 years now. Their prices are wonderful. I got full-rim glasses from them and have had it for about six months. Everything’s been fine with their customer service and the online ordering process has been easy. I’m very satisfied. It's been a great experience.
