I needed the cheapest pair of glasses I could find, and I ended up getting a full rim from Zenni Optical. Their website was pretty good and I'd recommend them.

10 years ago, Zenni was pretty new to the market and they offered discount prices. I did a little research on them and turned them up. In the earlier years of me purchasing from Zenni, their reps were very receptive and would tell me how I could do things. Back then, I picked tints and the kind of glass that would be used. Their reps also taught me how to determine what my interocular distance is. They were also a Chinese outfit before and they had to wait for the Chinese manufacturer where all the work was done. Now, they've moved and they can create lenses in the States.
Another thing I liked about Zenni is the fact that with the prescriptions I had, I was able to build up for a pair of no line progressive glasses that would switch between being for computer reading at the bottom or for looking at the dashboard on the car and then the top would be looking outside for distance. That would normally cost me $200. Also, it was $70 for polarized glasses and a bunch of other stuff. That would cost me a lot of money if I had gotten those from a regular source.
Other than minor updates on my prescriptions, I've kept everything the same with them. I don't have to order as frequently and it's easier that way. Still, I used to order four or five pairs at once from them before. I've recommended Zenni to a lot of people and I've ever had anybody come back and criticize me for doing so. I'm happy to see that they're doing all right after depending on them for over 10 years.

I purchased 1 pair of glasses with blue light lens modification. I am acutely aware of changes in my vision and noticed immediately when the optical center of my new glasses was not to the quality I expect. Zenni delivers a lens within a margin of error, but not good enough for my needs. Perhaps they can find a better lens manufacturing method for high index prescriptions. Their 50% refund policy is also wanting, a poor deal when they ship a low quality product.

We were sorry to learn that you were having trouble seeing clearly through the high-index UV + Blue Blocker lenses in your glasses. Consequently, we want to apologize for any dissatisfaction you experienced as a result. We were disappointed to learn that you declined an inspection of your glasses, so that we could determine whether we placed the optical center, about which you complained, correctly on your lenses. When we inspect a pair of glasses and find that they were not manufactured correctly in any respect, we will remake the glasses for the customer for free. In addition, since we offered you a 100 percent refund of the price of the glasses in the form of store credit to your Zenni Optical account, we are also sorry to know that you declined this option in lieu of the 50 percent refund back to your credit card. Regarding you comment about the 50 percent refund option, we want to confirm that we cannot reuse any materials from glasses that are returned. We can only donate or discard them. We believe that this refund is a good option for customers who prefer not to receive the store credit or an inspection, which would result in a possible remake, if the inspection finds that the glasses are incorrect. This refund is in line with what other comparable online optical retailers offer. We hope that you will try ordering glasses from Zenni Optical again, but if you do not, we hope you can find another optical retailer that can meet your needs.

Updated on 05/07/2019: For about 3 years I bought Zenni $25 titanium frames with progressive lenses. The titanium part of the frame was great, you could actually bend them without breaking. However, the nose-piece was made out of very brittle metal and would snap after just a few weeks, or sometimes just a few days, making their titanium frames less sturdy than $7 reading glasses you buy at Walmart. So in 2018 I decided to go to the $7 half-rim glasses, thinking if I'm going to be replacing frames all the time, I may as well buy cheaper frames. These were more sturdy than the titanium ones, but eventually I broke one of these frames and had them send me a new frame. After watching the replacement video, I tried popping the lenses out the way they say to but it's not possible - the lenses will break first. Which is what happened, I broke my good lenses trying to pop them out.
The most recent problem I had is I had bought 2 extra pairs of these half-frame glasses (even though I still had a good pair), but did not notice until after the 30 day warranty was up that they had only sent me frames with blank (non-progressive lenses). After nearly an hour on the phone with support, the best they would offer is a 15% refund and would not even let me send the frames in to inspect. The last thing I'll say is the quality of their lenses is very poor. Their progressive lenses are very distorted and the plastic is brittle. The only good thing about your business model is being able to order online. But until the quality and customer service improves, I'll be buying somewhere else. So long Zenni.
Original Review: For over 2 years I loved Zenni because of the fact you can get a full prescription set of glasses with progressive lenses for $50. However, I started using their titanium frames (#313212), which have very bendable earpieces, but are very brittle on the nose bridge. The first time one broke I thought it was a fluke so bought another pair. Half price for replacement frames seemed very nice. However, I've been through 7-8 sets of frames now, and am beginning to see a pattern. I have talked to them several times and Zenni will do nothing to correct this defect, in fact some CS employees act surprised.
After reading the multiple reviews on Zenni's own site which complained of the same issue, I realized that it wasn't just me and they are well aware of the problem. In fact I think if anything, the frames become more brittle. I have had 2 pairs break on me in 2 months. So becoming disgruntled with the company, I decided to leave a negative review on Zenni.com. They never posted my review. This makes me wonder how many people are really having their frames break. And so I ended up here. Hopefully others will read. Until Zenni does something to take care of its customers, I will go somewhere else to buy my glasses.

I have family members who use Zenni. I wanted some extra pairs of glasses to have around, so I've ordered from them twice. The process was very easy. I chose pairs that I thought would look good on me. However, when I had to put my prescription in and the website wanted to know the distance between my irises, that was kind of weird because it wasn’t in my prescription. It did okay, though, and I got close. Also, the time it took them to deliver my order was pretty fast considering where we live. Zenni's price is good, as well.

My coworker had just ordered some of her glasses from Zenni Optical when I had broken my glasses. I like the glasses from Zenni and by now I've already ordered about 6 times. Their online ordering process is very easy. The most recent time I ordered, I got a full rim and it had a vintage look. I recommend Zenni all the time.

I have worn glasses since the age of 7 and never had a positive experience with them until Zenni. I have a high prescription and glasses often gave me headaches because of how heavy they were. My Zenni's (high index 1.67) are the lightest pair I've ever owned - I don't even feel them on my face! The frames are great quality, flattering, ordering was so easy (use the try on tool, and be sure to measure properly), and they arrived well before the expected delivery date. I had been wearing contacts for several months as my last glasses broke and I hadn't found a frame/style I liked at other stores. I took a chance on Zenni and now my eyes are happy, healthy and I can see so clearly. Very happy, will order again and recommend to everyone!

This company is a scam. Do not order from Zenni Optical. They took 50 dollars from my credit card back in April and 6 months later I still haven't received glasses. I called customer service today and they have no intention on mailing me glasses. Further yet the service they claim they are going to provide you is also illegal. No glasses can be made without a prescription signed by an eye doctor. I will be glad to see this company face the fines and penalties it has coming.

When you contacted us in August 2018 to advise that you did not get your order from April 2018, we remade your order for free as a courtesy although this contact was considerably outside the 30-day warranty period on this order. We sent the order to you at the shipping address you entered, which was the same shipping address you used on your two 2017 orders with us. You telephoned Zenni Optical today to advise that you did not get these glasses. When we confirmed that the U.S. Postal Service stated that they delivered the glasses on Sept. 1, 2018, to the shipping address you entered for your order, you advised that this shipping address you entered is from two years ago and is the wrong current address. We were surprised to see that there are no notes in the database records of your 2017 orders, one from September and one from December, dates that are considerably more recent than two years ago. Since it is a customer’s responsibility to enter the correct shipping address, and we remade this order for you as a courtesy exception without you confirming that the address has changed, no further exceptions will be provided in this instance. Of course, we are sorry for any disappointment you experience as a result.

To say I am disappointed would be a gross understatement. I am heart-broken and dismayed. The glasses I received were of such poor quality I would imagine they would have broken within days of use. And FYI: I did not choose their cheapest frames. I was shocked when I received the glasses. One of the two pair of glasses did not even have hinges for the arms. How do you properly wear, fold up, and store glasses with no hinges? I was supposed to stretch them when putting them on and just try to smash them together to store them. I would be embarrassed to wear these in public!
The other pair were the quality of those substandard plastic play sunglasses for small children you get at the fair. The lenses, if you want to call them that, were made of very shoddy, very thin plastic. My choice? 100% store credit (“maybe I could pick more expensive frames this time”) or 50% return on my hard-earned money. The “customer service agent” allegedly went to “speak to a manager” to see if he could do something better for me. Nope. Zenni does not stand behind their products. Please, heed my warning and do not get glasses from Zenni. I hope that my feedback will save someone else the heartache I have experienced at the hands of Zenni.

Since you mention that you are disturbed that the rimless pair of glasses you ordered, in frame 372811, has hingeless temple arms, we apologize for any dissatisfaction you experienced as a result. This frame is identified on our website as a rimless, hingeless, titanium frame, so we are puzzled that you apparently did not notice this when you ordered this frame. We want to confirm that, as the reviews on the product detail page indicate about this frame, it is popular, lightweight, and sturdy. We were also sorry to learn that you did not like the full-rim plastic frame you ordered, model 2020516, another popular frame that earns an aggregate rating of four out of five stars. We were surprised and disappointed to learn that you did not like the high-index UV + Blue Blocker standard progressive lenses you selected for each frame. Most customers are pleased with thin lenses, and prefer them to thick ones. In addition, most customers are also pleased with our 30-day warranty period and return policy, which gives customers refunds of 100 percent of what they spent on the glasses, minus the shipping fee, in the form of store credit, if they simply do not like the glasses and want to return them, so they can use the store credit to purchase another pair they would prefer. We also offer the option of a 50 percent refund back to the source of payment, and both of these refund options are similar to what other comparable online optical retailers offer. My family has bought over 5 glasses from Zenni last year. The stem of one of my glasses just simply broke after only 1 year of use. I am very disappointed. None of my other frames have ever broken like this. Glasses are of very low quality. Once I wrote to customer service to give me a replacement, they just simply responded they can't. They should take responsibility for poor quality of their frames and offer more than just an apology. I spent over $200 on these glasses. Terrible service.

We were sorry to learn that one of the temple arms from your rimless frame 374312 has broken, and we want to apologize for any disappointment you experienced as a result. We want to clarify that our warranty period for broken frames extends to 30 days after the glasses are delivered. These glasses were delivered more than a year ago, well outside the warranty period. However, if a rimless frame breaks and the frame has not been retired, we will send a customer a free replacement frame if the customer contacts us during the 30-day warranty period. with rimless glasses outside the 30-day warranty period, we advise customers to order a replacement frame and to specify the lens shape that was selected, so that the rimless frame will be configured so that the holes on the lenses line up with the placement of the screw connections of the temple arms and bridge (the part that goes over your nose). Some of our rimless frames have changed from a single-screw connection to double-screw bushings, which provide a stronger, more durable connection. Nevertheless, we are going to ask our lab to email you to confirm that we have frame 374312 in the single-screw connection style, which is how the frame still appears on our website. If they confirm that they have this frame in stock, they will also send you a free replacement frame 374312, configured for lens shape 357, as a one-time customer service gesture, in acknowledgement of the five orders you placed with Zenni Optical in 2017. We are also asking our lab to enclose a screwdriver tool and extra screws, washers, screw caps, and nose pads. Then you may take the glasses to a local optical retailer and ask them to install your prescription lenses in the replacement frame, if you do not feel comfortable making the repair yourself. You may also reply to the lab’s email to confirm that you would like to send the glasses back to Zenni Optical for repair. They will email you instructions to return the glasses for repair, and email you a prepaid shipping label you may use for return postage. Then they will send a replacement frame to our U.S. headquarters office in Novato, California, and we will repair the glasses and return them to you. We hope that these measures resolve this matter to your satisfaction.

A friend suggested Zenni to me years ago and I liked their prices. I've ordered a ton of items since then. I used to get my glasses at JCPenney and they would scratch so I’d have to do a lens replacement like once or twice a year. With Zenni, I can order a new pair and it costs me less than to copay for the lens replacement. I've never looked back and I've purchased glasses from them for my mom, husband and two daughters.
Ordering from them online has been very straightforward. I like that we can upload our picture and try on glasses. It's a great value for us. We place an order for three to five pairs every one to two years and we've only ever had one pair that we had a problem with. For that instance, it was as if the bridge wasn’t soldered right as one side was slightly higher than the other. Still, for the price of the glasses, I didn't mess with the return and just ordered another pair instead.

I had been going to America’s Best and I got tired of getting duped. They say 69 for two pairs, but then I pay well over $100 when everything is said and done. I came across Zenni when I searched online and I’ve already ordered multiple times by now. I like many different styles and I always try to make sure I have a handful of options if I have to wear glasses. I still have the first pair I got and I love them. There was one pair I got that I wasn’t as happy as I could have been because the lenses were off a bit. But for the most part, I’ve been happy to deal with them. Also, the online ordering process is very straightforward and I really enjoy seeing their low prices. I’ve even sent a few friends to the site.

Zenni Optical provides me with a terrible experience. To start, it took SEVERAL weeks to even receive my prescription. When I received my prescription, the prescription was totally wrong. I sent the prescription back to be checked for prescription. They confirmed that the prescription was incorrect and provided me the option to order another pair so that they could correct the mistake. This happened THREE other times following. Each time the prescription was wrong. After two months without a pair of working prescription glasses, after the last time receiving the wrong prescription, I decided that it wasn’t worth the time and requested that I get my money back. So all in all, I lost money on buying packaging to send each pair back, and I wasted 2 months on this company.

I really like the prices of Zenni. I ordered from them in the past. Recently, I was trying to get two pairs from them, one for my 16-year old daughter and one for my 10-year old daughter. They didn’t have the one in stock for my 10-year old daughter. There was an option to get emailed when that came into stock, so I got a pair for my 16-year old and then after the email, when it came into stock for my 10-year old. However, the frame of the pair that I got my 10-year old broke and I didn’t get an insurance. But they said I could just reorder the frame itself and just pop the lenses out and put them in the new frame and so, I did that.
The only thing is, Zenni said they'd email me when they're available but I never got an email and it's been months. And then my daughter keeps asking me every few weeks and I'd say I didn’t get an email. Then I'd go back and look at all my emails and I still didn’t see it. One time, I went on the website to make sure. It still said out of stock. I don't know what the deal is with that but that's the only issue I've had. Other than that, everything has been great with our experience with Zenni. The customer service was really helpful and they're also available 24/7.

I searched online for a pair of cheap prescription glasses and decided to go with Zenni. Since I've found them I've ordered more than a dozen pair. I order them three at a time. I went with a blue, a basic black pair and another weird pair that I just wanted to try out. You can upload a picture of yourself and then try some glasses on your face on their website. When I tried the glasses they were pretty cool.
The glasses came on time. They send me a note saying where they are in the order process. This is the first company that I've dealt with that went well a lot like, just ordering stuff, especially prescription. That's the part that I thought would be hard, but it wasn't. The only part that I had to get was the pupillary distance and once I got that, then they just programmed it in. It was just a smooth process.
If my glasses gets broken or gets lost all I do is hit re-order and it will send me the same exact pair. The only difference is if they're out of that stock, then I'd have to go back to the beginning of the process. But it's just awesome. I really have no complaints with Zenni. I've recommended this website to hundreds of people. I work at the medical field and I get told, "Oh my god, those are awesome glasses," and I say, "six bucks." They told me I must be lying so I told them the website and they wrote it down. I would see them later at another time and they would be like, "Hey, I ordered glasses. It was just so easy." I promoted them like crazy. They are awesome. I can't wait until the new fall line. I would definitely be one of the first people on the site looking for new styles.

Zenni' s glasses are great. Their prices are good and a lot cheaper, and they have nice styles. We've bought from them six times already. My husband has three specific glasses and he always orders because he tends to lose them all the time or they just get broken from working or rolling on them while asleep. Zenni Optical shipped out the glasses quickly. The glasses came in one piece and in great packaging. We love them.

I was searching for an eyewear online and found Zenni Optical to be the cheapest so I got one from them. It was the first time I bought an eyewear online. Their online ordering process was easy and everything went smoothly. I purchased it over a year ago and so far, I've no problems with it.

The return/warranty info isn't given to the customer very clearly. We all know the long forms you click through to make a purchase! There isn't a link in the email about returns, I had to search for it on the site. I acknowledge that I called 30 days after I had the glasses (crazy circumstances like having to move my husband across country to deploy happened). The rep was not understanding or helpful to come up with a solution. I haven't worn the glasses, they aren't made for someone who can only see out of one eye. The nose pieces are way too big and that's all I can see when I put them on. (If you have monocular vision you can see your nose all the time). I just wanted to return for store credit to see if I could find a pair that would work for me. But now I'll never use them again or say nice things about them.

We were very sorry to read that the customer service representative with whom you spoke was neither understanding nor helpful when you contacted Zenni Optical Customer Service to advise that there was a problem with the bridge (the part that goes over and rests on the sides of your nose) of your eyeglasses frame 2020617. We understand how distracting the part of the bridge that rests along the side of your nose can be when you are sighted in only one eye. Consequently, we want to apologize for any dismay you experienced as a result of this feature of your eyeglasses frame that was problematic for you, and also for any indifference you felt the representative displayed during your conversation regarding the glasses. We are also sorry to read that you were unaware of our return policy, which can be found on every page of the Zenni Optical website, toward the bottom of the page, under the Customer Service section that is next to the Frequently Asked Questions section. Under Customer Service, you will see the subcategory Return Information. The first category under Returns is, What is your return policy? As stated here, our warranty period extends to 30 days from the date the glasses are delivered. Your glasses were delivered July 28, 2018, and the warranty period ended Aug. 28, 2018. Nevertheless, you explained that the reason you called after the warranty period ended was that you had to move your husband for his deployment. Of course, we thank him for his service, and we thank you, too, for the sacrifices you have made in this regard. In addition, you contacted us on Sept. 7, 2018, only 10 days after the end of the warranty period. In light of these reasons, we are going to extend this warranty period for you as a one-time customer service gesture. This means that we are going to email you instructions to return the glasses for the 100 percent store credit refund you indicate that you would like. In addition, we are going to email you a prepaid shipping label you may use for return postage. Moreover, we are going to advise our lab that you have monocular vision, which they probably noticed when they viewed your prescription, which is the same for both eyes so the glasses would have balance lenses. When we do, we are also going to ask them to email you some recommendations of frames that have dimensions similar to 2020617 and less conspicuous nose rests on the bridge, such as a frame with adjustable nose pads, perhaps. This way you will be able to scrutinize these frames on our website, determine if the dimensions are close enough to 2020617 so they would work for you, if that frame fit you well, and use the store credit we will issue when we receive your returned glasses toward the purchase of a new pair of glasses with an unobtrusive or less obtrusive nose rest on the bridge. We hope that these measures help to resolve this matter to your satisfaction, and also help to demonstrate that we very much want to retain you as a Zenni Optical customer.

Received defective sunglasses. The left side frame and lens was VISIBLY smaller than the right side. Sent many photos and measurements to prove this yet I was told via email that the frames looked fine and that I measured wrong. After several emails back and forth I was eventually advised to ship them to California for inspection (I'm in Canada and the defective frames came from their plant in Ontario). After several weeks I finally receive an email from Zenni telling me what I already knew - the frames were indeed defective! I was advised that they will remake and ship new ones, and they would refund me a whole $2.50 for return postage - it cost me $14 to ship to California from Canada! These glasses have cost me way more than they're worth. It's been weeks now, the summer is over and I still don't have my sunglasses. I will not ever order from Zenni again. So disappointed and frustrated with the whole experience.

I love Zenni Optical. I had never ordered my glasses online. I heard about Zenni through a friend and they were the first ones I’ve ever done online. I've had tons of orders with them and have been really happy with it. I’ve only ever had one issue and they fixed it. My husband's pair of sports glasses broke and they sent me the repair kit for it. I’ve sent a lot of people to them. For what we’ve had to pay for the glasses, they’ve been great.

I needed glasses quick and I was gonna travel with them so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money in case they broke. I ordered online from Zenni Optical and I couldn’t see half out of them. They also have some crazy tint that look greenish, which was awfully odd when they shouldn’t have that. The lenses were cheap. I guess I got what I bought. I was used to things like Crizal so I ordered Zenni's highest end lens, but their highest end lens is like the lowest end lens I’ve ever looked at so I’m not gonna buy from them anymore because they aren’t good.

We would like to explain to you that the Beyond UV blue blocker lens comes with free green coating, so there might be a slight greenish color reflect on the surface of Beyond UV lens. In a progressive lens, the shape of the corrected part of the lens is approximately that of a funnel or a mushroom, with the top portion for distance-vision, narrowing to the lower middle for mid-range, finally to the bottom portion for the near-vision or reading. The reading area is approximately the lower quarter, central third of the lens. In order to keep that corrected area of the lens in front of your pupil, it becomes necessary to turn your head slightly from side to side. Nevertheless, since you contacted us about this matter after the 30-day warranty period expired, we advised that we would accept the glasses back for a courtesy inspection only. If our inspection finds that we made the glasses incorrectly, we can remake them for you for free. We ordered Frame #297324 for my son at the end of December 2017. My son wanted clear and green glasses which is why we went with Zenni. Last month the left arm of the frame metal broke off and the arm slid off. We "repaired" it with gorilla glue and my son's been wearing them until today when the right arm did the same. The plastic is not damaged. The metal connecting the hinge with the screw is obviously faulty. Zenni's response per their online customer service rep. is for me to spend more money for a replacement pair and "fix them myself". Thanks but no thanks Zenni. Your online competitor EyeBuyDirect addressed their quality issue for me this year by sending 2 new pairs when I mentioned that they had both cracked while inquiring about something else because when something you sell is faulty that's the way to make it right and keep customers. Good try with getting more of my money though.

I heard about Zenni from my manager from work and I like the frames better than any other lines. They have more stylish, modern frames. I got a pair of round, creamy colored glasses, which is like a cheap style I like. The first time Zenni sent them, the prescription was wrong and I had to resend my frames back. They sent me a new pair right away and the customer service was fast and good.

When I received my first pair of glasses, I couldn't see out of them at all. I had ordered them with the wrong PD. I was able to return them for a store credit and then reorder them with the correct prescription, which I triple checked against the script from my Dr. When I received the second pair, I couldn't wear them because they made me feel dizzy. I actually took them to my eye doctor and they said that the optical center of the lens is in the wrong spot. So, I returned them yet again. They deemed the glasses "defective" and "rushed" me a new pair.
The third pair was not different than the second. I still couldn't see out of them. I love the frames, so I ended up taking them to my eye clinic and had them cut me new lenses and paid a fortune for them. But, I can see fine out of the lenses my clinic did. When I contacted Zenni about a possible refund or store credit on the lenses they refused. I have learned my lesson and will no longer be giving Zenni my business.

Heard about Zenni from their TV advertising and decided to try them out. I recently had an eye exam and new glasses, but wanted another extra pair. The website offers a good selection of styles, and a good system for measuring size. It was very easy since I had a recent prescription. I ordered a basic pair which in total came to under $20 delivered. Glasses arrived in about a week. Very happy with the quick turnaround and low price. Glasses were perfect match in prescription to my other ones. Quality seems good, at least for $20! I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs another affordable pair of glasses. I've paid three to four times as much from a "one hour" retailer and received a poorer quality product. You just can't beat it for the price.

Prescription of glasses received from online order was way too weak, having ordered "Mid-Range Progressives", which I understood to be a selection of the line of demarcation for where the progressive adjustment begins, but instead the glasses ended up being more of reading glasses, and unusable for any distance vision, and only good for very near distance use. Company states it is basically my fault for making that assumption that there would be a spot on the lenses that actually have the full prescription, but just higher up.
They will happily accept returns for 50% reimbursement sans shipping, so online glasses is maybe safer if you only plan to use them as secondary glasses and never rely on them as a primary pair. Certainly should be fine for sunglasses or readers, where you would not need to rely on a precise prescription. Get what you pay for, and in this case, I bought a pair of reading glasses instead of what I was expecting. Lesson learned.

I purchased a few pair of glasses from Zenni because of the low prices, the glasses are lower end quality as well as the lenses. Zenni has a huge problem with their anti-reflective coating, if they are exposed to the sun for a short amount of time, they get these small cracks called crazing, I was at Disney World all day and just wearing them in the sun while waiting in the long lines for rides, they crazed.
So I sent them back. They gave me a new pair, which was fine, I had to pay for the shipping. You need to be extra careful about wearing them in the sun, my other pair, I forgot I was wearing them while mowing the lawn and they crazed, very low quality coating, anyway, they would not repair those because it was just over a year and they told me too bad. Another thing is their progressive site span is very small, you need to move your head a lot to get the right spot. I did order a pair of glasses from FIRMOO, cost a little more, but amazing, much larger progressive site span, much less head movement, I tested them in the sun and no crazing.

Don't know who is at fault but my lenses only cover half my face and when I look down I see open space. These lens are really small but maybe I didn't follow or understand how to order them. I didn't pay a lot of $$ but the result's poor to fair.

Down at the bottom of every Zenni Optical page, we have a column headed INFOGRAPHICS, which lists several infographics that can answer the questions you refer to in this complaint. One of these is our How to Measure Your Frame Size infographic, https://www.zennioptical.com/measure-eyeglass-frame-size-how-to, which explains how to measure a pair of glasses you have that fits you well and looks good on your face, to determine the dimensions of this frame. Then you may shop for a frame on our website that has dimensions that are close to those of the frame you have that fits you well. It does not have to be an exact match. A frame on our website with dimensions that are within 2-3 millimeters of the frame that fits you well should fit you just as well. Here is one caveat: On the bridge (the part that goes over your nose) stay within 2 mm of the dimensions of your frame. But on the temple arms (the parts that go over your ears) you have more of a leeway – 3-4 mm. If you do not currently have a frame that fits you well, you may take a trip to an optical store, a drug store, or a dollar store, and try on some of the frames (at the optical store) or reading glasses or sunglasses at the drug or dollar store. Bring a notepad, millimeter ruler, and a pen or pencil, so you may write down the dimensions, then come back to the Zenni Optical website to shop for frames with similar dimensions. I always liked glasses frames, well before I got my first prescription glasses for reading. I’m not a name brand person, so, I won’t know the difference between RayBan or Calvin Klein’s. Seeing so many choices at such reasonable prices thrilled me! Then I looked at their variety of progressive lenses and I can’t find such anywhere else. The midrange works well for me due to my extensive computer work at my job as well as reading. The other sites have not offered these choices with progressive lenses. PLUS... I have 4 pairs of unique frames, and none of them reached even $80.00. I’m sold.

I had a pair of glasses for two months, when the frame broke when I was cleaning them. I contacted Zenni, and was pleased when they sent me a replacement frame at no charge. However, that's when it fell apart. I watched the video three times, and worked for over two hours trying to get one lens into the frame. I have good hands from sewing, jewellery making, woodworking, knitting... you get the idea. I used boiling water and a blow dryer to try and soften the plastic. I oiled the inset. I tried in the air, on padding, working from each side, top and bottom. There is no way that lens will go into that frame.
I called and was told to either send the frames and lenses back and they would put them in, which I can't go because they are my only work glasses. Then they suggested I take them to a local optometrist (I can imagine how well that would go over). I offered to buy the glasses from scratch, if they would only offer free shipping. No go. So, they stepped up in a great way, but dropped the ball, leaving me with a piece of tape on my brand new glasses. (The new frames do measure just a hair smaller than the original ones, which I told them. The impossibility is real.)

So my order came out to $37.95, my glasses were originally only $19.00 but apparently I have small pupillary distance (61) so I was charged extra. Whatever, I didn't even care. Charge me extra, it's only $10.00 more, what do I care? A few days later I was called by my insurance company and told that they would pay for me to get a new pair of glasses, my mom had sat on my old pair. I went the same day and got my glasses, loved them. I decided to cancel my order with Zenni Optics, I'm a college student, trying to move out as soon as possible, I don't splurge money on ANYTHING! There have been days where I just didn't eat because I didn't want to waste my money pointlessly. So every dime I have I'd like to keep.
I was told that even though my order hadn't even been shipped out yet, I could only get a 50% refund. I'm so confused? Are your products so ** that your mindset is "If everyone who orders our products realizes how ** it is, and returns it, we gotta charge them at least 50% just so we can get by?" If it is, I highly suggest you get out of the business. Read the fine print people, that's where scam artists keep their trickery at, in the shadows. Zenni Optics just lost a customer, and I hope I prevent some other unfortunate soul from being cheated out of their hard earned money.

The frame you ordered, 208021, is $19.00. The pupillary distance (PD) range accommodated by this frame is 62-75 millimeters. Your PD is 61 mm. Since your PD is out of the range of this frame, a $9.00 extra-strength charge was assessed, as it always is when a customer orders a frame that has a PD range starting beyond their PD. It is not that your PD, 61 mm, is small, it is that if you had selected a frame that has 61 mm within the range the frame accommodates, no extra-strength charge would have been assessed. Your lens was free, and the anti-reflection coating you selected was $4.95. The shipping fee, for standard shipping, was $4.95. This adds up to $37.90. You placed the order on Aug. 9, 2018, and you telephoned Zenni Optical Customer Service to cancel your order on Aug. 13, 2018, three days past the first 24 hours after the order was placed. Zenni Optical policy states that if you cancel an order within the first 24 hours after it was placed, we can fully refund the purchase to your source of payment, in this case a credit card. After 24 hours have elapsed, we can issue a full refund in the form of store credit to your Zenni Optical account, if the glasses have not yet been mailed to you. You elected to take the other refund option we offer, a 50 percent refund of the price of the glasses before the shipping charge was assessed, $32.95, to the source of payment. We issued this refund, $16.48, to the credit card you used to pay for the order, and as a courtesy we added a refund of the $4.95 shipping fee, since we did not ship the glasses, making the total refund $21.43. We hope that this explains what transpired regarding the cancellation of your order, and we also hope that you will reconsider your decision no longer to be a Zenni Optical customer.

The problem with Zenni Optical is that you really have NO IDEA whether the eyeglasses will fit your face or look good on you, no matter how carefully you measure. The preview is misleading and so are the measurements. And since you may have to try many pairs of glasses to find ones that work and they won't give you a full refund after the first one, you can end up spending a lot of money.
Zenni Optical seems like a bargain at first, but it can end up being no bargain at all unless you are very lucky in your choice of frames. The way they measure the glasses is bizarre, so you can't tell if the frames will be huge or tiny. But the weirdest part is the nose piece. The bridge measurement is very misleading. Perhaps because the glasses are made in China (for Asian people?), the nose pieces are mostly for very broad noses. I've had to return several pairs of glasses because the nose piece was absurdly wide.
I originally wanted ONE pair of nice glasses and ended up with SIX so-so ones. I'd have spent less and gotten nicer frames if I'd just gone to an optician. Also, some of the frames - and especially, the clip-ons - are very cheaply made. One other thing... it's next to impossible to get anyone to respond in chatbox help. When I first started using Zenni Optical, chatbox response was fairly quick, but over time that stopped. Maybe they just don't like me.

A friend recommended Zenni. I like their pricing and I’ve ordered more than once. The reps have been pretty responsive and my interactions with them have gone well. The initial order was incorrect but it was my mistake as something in their website made it really easy to make an error in ordering. I don’t know if they ever changed the way one puts the prescription numbers in, but I switched it around. And the way the little drop-down works is it goes negative when it goes up and positive when it goes down. So though I triple-checked the order, I never noticed that it was on the wrong side. But I was given a free one-time unit replacement so that was okay. One time, Zenni lost a pair in the factory and found that it got damaged there before they got sent to me. It took a while to track my order down but the reps made up for it by credit pay. And then they had a sale so I was able to get almost a free pair in addition to that.
I buy all of my lenses with clip-on sunglasses that they come with them but Zenni has stopped carrying those. They have the lens sometimes but they don’t have the sunglass anymore. It's very irritating that they don’t keep a good stock which kinda renders that part of it useless. Knowing that people break these things all the time because they’re cheaply made, I think that’s a mistake on their part. And because of that, I’m planning to look at their competitor. It's not that I’ll never buy anything from Zenni again, but there's another online discount frame place called Matthew and I’ve talked to their people and I’ve been happy with them. Matthew now has a showroom in the mall so I can go in and try a pair on. Matthew's eyeglasses are around $100 a pair instead of about $65 with Zenni but I’m interested in looking at them since Zenni is not carrying the sunglass clips anymore that I need, which is problematic for me.
Nevertheless, Zenni has something innovative which I like. They have those blue blocker lenses which I paid extra for. They don’t look yellow like the other lenses that are blue blockers too. It’s a special coating and it’s working. Those lenses cost about 150 a pair and I bought two of those a year and a half ago. Those are my favorite glasses. Zenni is pretty high up there for what you’re paying for them and I have told people about them.

I received someone else's glasses instead of mine and called about a week ago to get it sorted out. The CS person was apologetic and offered to remake and resend the correct pair, although I had to pressure her to expedite the order. I thought all was well but I realized today that I never received any confirmation via email. I called again just now only to find out that she'd only made a "request" to have them remade and that no action had been taken yet. A week later! The person I spoke with today said all she could do was put in another request. This is very time sensitive as I'm moving in 2 weeks and now there's no way I'll have these glasses in time. Absolutely unacceptable and I'll never use Zenni again nor would I recommend anyone else does.

Zenni Optical's price is cheaper compared to other eyewear companies and they have good glasses. I bought round glasses from them which is like a Clubmaster and it looks good. The order took a bit long to arrive, so I emailed their customer service and had a good interaction with them. They were polite and told me that it was gonna take a while. I waited for two weeks and the order came in. It would be better if their shipping can be faster than two weeks. Other than that, everything was good with Zenni.

I thought these were great frames for the price until I’ve had to reorder twice within a year due to my glasses breaking. Not a very good value as now I’ve spent more than necessary due to cheap frames that break. Love the style but I’ll have to purchase elsewhere.

Zenni is affordable for somebody my age that's on a fixed income. I've been with them for five years and I usually go with the rectangle glasses. They feel comfortable. Also, the delivery is usually within a week and we live in Alaska. I'm very happy with them. I've recommended Zenni to many of my friends and have ordered some for them as well.

I ordered my glasses from Zenni because they could make it cheaper. However, I've stopped using Zenni because every time I would order from them, I would get a re-order email saying that my prescription was too strong and the frames wouldn't work. And every time I don't put in the numbers they would give me, the glasses would be little kids' glasses and not adult ones.

Zenni's advertising caught me and I’ve been using them for a couple of years now. Ordering online is very easy. I had a quick question with their CS and they answered it correctly. I’m pretty cheap and I don’t like going into a more standard store and spending $200 or $300 on glasses. With Zenni, I can buy them for 10. It's a great place to do business with.

I ordered a pair of glasses for the second time here and they do not fit. Since I returned a pair of glasses the last time due to poor quality, they only give you a 50% credit if you have a problem again. Don't waste your money, go to an optical center as some things cannot be ordered over the internet.

It’s going well with Zenni Optical. I purchased from them because of the price and the convenience that I can just order online and the glasses will be brought to me. I don’t have to move out of my house. And the glasses arrived at the time they said. I will recommend Zenni. My cousin had used their service before as well.

A friend told me about Zenni Optical and I liked that they were such a good price. I recently purchased the oval-shaped glasses with a half rim and I like them. I liked all of the ones that I've got there. But on two of my eyes, there's a certain part of my prescription that is different. Most people, it's the same. So, Zenni chooses not to do those differently, even though there's a handful of people that's different. The only challenge I've ever dealt with was trying to get the glasses adjusted 'cause over time, they always go out of whack. And I don't know how to do it myself. I know a little bit, enough to get me in trouble. But luckily at Walmart, they will adjust anybody's glasses for free so that works out well.

I've purchased 6 pairs of prescription glasses from Zenni. They are a good value and I have had good response from customer service when needed. I'm able to purchase glasses cheaper from Zenni without insurance than from my optometrist using my insurance benefits.

Zenni's glasses are cheaper, and I just bought my first eyeglasses. I got a full-rim and the quality is fine. The customer service team was okay, too. But I had a question a long time ago and I don’t think that problem got solved. Also, the online site was fine but I wish it was easier to contact them and to speak to the reps when we have any questions. I recommend Zenni if you want something that is affordable. It might not be the best quality but it’s something that you can definitely use.

I went through the online order process with little pain, entered my prescription, chose my frames, and paid with my debit card. A little later, I got an email letting me know that my prescription is "too strong" and that Zenni couldn't fill my prescription, a prescription I've had since 1981, that I have had little difficulty getting filled anywhere else. The money I paid was taken from my account, and the email let me know that the charges would be reversed in 5 to 10 business days. That was unacceptable, I performed a chargeback with my CU, using their own email as a reason and had the charges reversed immediately. No one in my household will ever be using Zenni Optical ever again.

Ordering online through Zenni Optical's website was easy. I liked their prices and while the glasses I got from them are pretty good, they could be a little bigger. Still, the glasses are a good deal and Zenni is a good place to get glasses.

I don't have eye insurance and glasses were super expensive so I wanted something affordable. The first pair of glasses I bought from Zenni were substandard rectangular $5 frames. It was to have some glasses on the basis of sight only. The next time I bought glasses, I started branching out and looking for something more fashionable. I usually get whatever looks cool to me or whatever I think I look good with. I got glasses that were a little bit more expensive but still extremely affordable. It was an ocotillo something and it reminds me of a really high quality brand of glasses that people wear nowadays. It looks really cool but is more affordable. The glasses I ordered about two years ago from Zenni were good but they floated down the river. So I had to get new ones and I love the new ones so much. Overall, everything's gone smooth with Zenni Optical and I love them.

I've ordered from Zenni Optical twice already and it was very easy. I could see the status and glasses came in the mail just fine. I like their price and they have lots of options too. My last order was a pair of full-rim glasses and I really liked it. They were cheap and cute.

I love Zenni Optical's prices and styles. I had never purchased online and they were the first retailer that I have come across. Their site is very good, simple, self-explanatory. Also, their glasses are really affordable. For people like me with a very high prescription, I have to have super thin lenses which could be $200. Before I used Zenni, I would have a pair of glasses done and I would use my own frame and it would still come in at $300. Furthermore, I like the quality of their eyewear. The frames are sturdy and the workmanship looks very good to me. Zenni's styles are also great. I am a fashionista so this is the world to me. I usually go for the cat eye glasses. I have all the edgiest glasses that Zenni has but still a little more edge would work for me.
I've contacted their customer service and what I did was I sent them the first email and then they asked me to send the first picture. And I've found that my initial emails have been answered between four and six hours. The three things that I had to have done were also done in a timely fashion. However, once, I had ordered a pair of glasses and Zenni made a mistake. So I contacted them and they got right back to me. And their solution for me was to switch out the lenses in the frame. They had the how-to video and everything but I couldn't get it done. So, I asked them if I could send the glasses back to them for them to fix it because it was their mistake. Their response was, “As a one-time courtesy, we will do this.” That reply rubbed me the wrong way. But other than that, I really love Zenni. I've told people about them and a couple of my friends have already ordered from them. I even bought a gift certificate for a girlfriend for Christmas.

I got some purple plastic glasses from Zenni Optical but I don't like them. I think the bifocals in the lens are too high. I've had the glasses for about six months but I'm not able to adjust to the bifocals. When I'm looking normal, I can't see through the bottom part. But Zenni was cheaper than the original eyeglass places. It was my first time ordering from any online optical store and the process was cool. I liked that I could post a picture and look at myself with the glasses on. That was my favorite part. I was also able to input my measurements and my prescription then pick out the ones I wanted. Everything was good, easy and accessible.

A few days ago I changed my old e-mail address to a new one. However, today I tried to access my account using my new email address. When it came up none of my information, prescription, old orders, and a store credit did not show. I want to place another order put need the aforementioned data. I called the Zenni Customer Service line and was disappointed with customer service. No one including a manager could not help and were defensive and unhelpful. I did talk with a manager who promised the "lab" would contact me to assist. However, no one contacted me. Then I tried to contact a online chat X 3, but was sent messages that representatives were unavailable.
I left a message. It's been about 40" and have not received help. I have ordered 3 pairs of glasses from Zenni and have been pleased with the quality of the products. But this recent incident with customer service is unacceptable. I would like the name and contact information of the owner of Zenni. Maybe she can help. If I do not receive assistance soon Zenni will lose a consumer, and I will submit a formal complaint to Better Business Bureau and Consumer Protection Services of NC. Cheaper prices are nice but worthless unless there is an efficient customer service. Please advise.

I ordered 3 pairs of glasses before from Zenni Optical, 2 (same frame) for myself and one for my wife. One of the 2 lasted only a few months before it snapped in half, the other lasted about a year before it snapped in half in the same spot. The one for my wife was not made accurately, so she never wore them. Recently I ordered 2 different frames with the same prescriptions for myself (the ones that were made ok). One pair is ok, the other is completely off, as though it belongs to someone else. I did not bother sending them back because I don't expect the frame to last long, in which case I can change glasses and use them longer. The only reason I ordered these pairs again was because I needed cheap glasses until my insurance would cover a new prescription.

I liked the prices at Zenni and I got two pairs of glasses from them. Ordering online from them was easy. Currently, I have one full-rim style and one half-rim style and they seem to be holding up well.

Ordered sports glasses for my daughter, received safety glass with a hookup lenses which gets hook to it at the nose and you can only see straight, imagine buying safety glasses from a dollar store that doesn't fit (maybe fits a construction worker with eye size lenses hookup on the nose. I could have flushed the money in the toilet...)

Years ago, there weren't too many online optical shops. My friend recommended Zenni so I went to their website and looked for glasses. They had a description of what each thing was. Ordering was very easy and I just entered data. Also the site has the ability to upload a picture of your face and put the glasses on. That's a feature I really like about Zenni's site. Also, their glasses are cheap and they come as I order them. I recommend this company to other people.

Zenni Optical's prices are great. My daughter and I both wear glasses and we did the "try-on" feature, which is not the greatest, but I can upload my photo and try the glasses on. I made my first order about two years ago for around $50 and it was supposed to be my temporary extra pair. I have a pair of Jean Lafont that was $900, but my $50 glasses wound up being my everyday pair. The quality of my first order was wonderful and it was my favorite. I was so happy with that pair that I recently made a big purchase of around seven pairs from Zenni.
It usually takes one to two weeks to receive a pair of glasses from them, but there was a time when I needed a temporary pair because my regular pair was going in to get the lenses switched out and I paid for upgraded shipping. I probably paid more for the shipping of the temporary pair than I did for the glasses on my first order. There was something weird going on there because I did not pay for the express shipping on my first order, but I received it just as quickly, but not sooner.
There were two pairs that I had specially hoped for, but they were both disappointments. I sent all of them back except for the one pair that my daughter kept. The return process was easy. Zenni got it quickly and they allowed me a one-time 100% store credit. I used their chat and it was good. My questions were mostly, "I don't like them, what can I do? What are my options?" The reps are very responsive and they usually bend the rules a bit for me.
I recommend Zenni to friends all the time. The reviews are very helpful and I have learned that we need to read the reviews and to encourage more people to post and make reviews. Had I read the reviews on some of the ones I purchased, I would not have bought them. After the big purchase, I returned most of them. Then I bought another pair that had really great reviews. The girls were posting photos along with the reviews. I'm wearing the pair now and I love it.
Zenni doesn't have any pair that is more than $30 and it's better to pay for the higher quality. You get what you pay for. But it's still a bargain and still the best deal. However, I have a problem with a lot of the pairs that I don't want being sold out and stocks are not guaranteed all the time. Nonetheless, Zenni is great and I love them, but I would tell people to look and do their homework. They should read the reviews on the frames before they buy them, and not to go for the cheapest ones.

A friend recommended Zenni Optical to me and I liked that I didn't have to pay all the extra fees that go into it as long as I have my prescription. I ordered once when I was in Sweden and recently I ordered a round pair of prescription glasses with transition lenses and they're amazing, for what they are. Ordering online is pretty quick and I'm glad that Zenni has a wider variety of choices. The first pair I got was the basic but when I found these round pair, they were exactly what I wanted. I've already recommended a couple of friends to Zenni. I told them that Zenni is a good website to go get a pair. All they need is the prescription, and if they don't want anything too fancy, or if they want something more personalized, it's great.

Frames of glasses deteriorated after a few months. The screw holding the lenses in place just fell apart. On close examination the screw seemed to have rusted and broke. These glasses are junk. No response from the company after several attempts. Junk!

Zenni is cheaper than other prescription eyewear companies. I've ordered huge pairs of glasses from them, and the quality is good. But I was upset that I could have taken old pair of glasses and get a new prescription in the frame. I had several pairs of glasses that I really like and I wanted it to change to my new prescription and I can't do that. But other than that, everything is pretty good.

We were using tendollarglasses.com years ago. We looked for other options and ran into Zenni’s website. They had very inexpensive glasses, we tried them out and it worked very well, so we continued to use them. We purchased last year and the ordering process was pretty easy and intuitive, too. The glasses came as soon as we had expected them to. However, we had an issue where wanted to switch the frames. So, my wife contacted customer service and the concern was handled pretty well. Overall, we've had a good experience with Zenni. We have recommended a lot of our friends to them and a lot of them switched over.

In the past I have purchased from Zenni Optical a lot. I liked their prices and styles. I have about 20-something pairs and there's a blue metal frame there that I liked the most. I also have the asymmetrical one that has one circle and one square. I'm wearing those right now. The most recent was a pair of prescription sunglasses. I like the blue ones because they get a lot of compliments. They look stylish. And the asymmetrical one, everyone notices it. Ordering online is super easy. I had one order that took longer than it would, but no big deal. I hope Zenni keeps the strange styles coming. That's a huge plus. I recommend Zenni to people all the time.

I ordered 2 pair of sunglasses both with polarized amber tint (that I paid extra for) - the only difference was that 1 was blue mirrored finish and 1 was rose gold mirror finish. When I received them the blue mirror was clearly amber and the rose gold mirror was clearly grey. When I questioned this and sent pictures of the difference, their explanation was that this happened because of the difference in the mirror finish. That explanation of why one is amber and one is not is absolutely ridiculous. If that were indeed the case, the rose gold mirror would certainly show more amber than the blue mirror not vice versa.
I know what amber looks like and I know what grey looks like. I simply paid for the polarized amber and got the free grey and that's the bottom line. The fact that they hide obvious manufacturing errors shows me a poorly run company and I am sure they deal with issues like this constantly simply because there appears to be no accountability in manufacturing. The customer service is shameful in trying to cover these errors. Your prices are incredible but you get what you pay for.

We are very sorry for the dissatisfaction you experienced when you received the sunglasses from your June 2018 order, and you saw that the polarized amber lenses with the rose gold mirror finish had a greenish gray hue, unlike the sunglasses you ordered in March 2018, with a polarized amber lens with the blue mirror finish. In addition, we want to confirm that the lab’s explanation of the reason the polarized amber lenses with the rose gold mirror finish look less amber than the amber lenses with the blue mirror finish is correct. All mirror finishes will alter to varying degrees the color of the tint you see as you look through the lenses. Of course, we apologize for any dissatisfaction caused by this color discrepancy. We are also sorry for the lack of disclosure of this on our website at the point in the order process where customers order mirror finishes with their anti-reflective coating. You mention that the sunglasses you ordered in March 2018 with the blue mirror finish over the polarized amber lens does not change the amber color of the lens. This is because the blue mirror finish makes even a polarized gray lens look somewhat amber. We have heard from customers who have ordered a gray polarized lens with the blue mirror finish, and then are dismayed when they receive the glasses and see that the lenses look more amber or green than gray. We want you to know that, based on your complaint, we are notifying our website development team of the need to inform customers during the order process that adding an anti-reflective coating with a mirror finish will alter the hue of the tint of the lenses, so that customers will have the opportunity to be informed about the color of the lenses they will get with the mirror finish. In this way, we are striving to avoid a recurrence of the experience you had with the color discrepancy caused by the mirror finish.

I am so incredibly happy with my readers from Zenni.com. If I'd bought the exact same pair from my optician, I would've paid $230, but I only spent a little over $50 thru Zenni.com. The process of filling out my order was simple, direct and the glasses came within a matter of a few business days. After a month of owning them, a lens popped out due to a loose screw. They're readers, so I'm hard on my glasses, taking them off and on a hundred times a day. Anyway, when I contacted Zenni's customer service, and asked for help they ended up sending me an entire new frame with a mini screwdriver and 2 screws. All this free and received within days. The customer service rep was very professional, the company is top notch in my opinion and I will NEVER buy glasses from my doctor's office again. I'm sticking with Zenni. I've ordered from Zenni Optical three times now. I like their price. Also, the selection of the glasses has been great although with my first order, Zenni didn’t have so many options as they do now. It was originally just whether or not you wanted some shade when you're ordering sunglasses. The online ordering process has been very simple too. The only thing I had difficulty with was with the option where you take a picture of yourself so that you can try the glasses on and have it come out at the right size according to the glasses. Most of the time, the glasses looked larger in the picture than what they actually came out to be. When I tried my first set of glasses, it looked like they were larger than they actually were, so when I got the glasses, I thought I have a big head.

Zenni had a frame style that I liked and it was a lot cheaper. The glasses are full frame plastic composite and they look a little brown but they're actually pink. My glasses broke some time ago and I called them asking what type of plastic it was. They were relatively knowledgeable about the materials that they are using.

I've ordered once from Zenni Optical and I won't be going back the other way. Once I figured out how to measure the pupillary distance, it was easy and simple to order. The glasses came early and I love them. I got them for less than $100 which is very affordable. I had to have titanium and usually, these glasses are over $500 when I order in the store, which is ridiculous. I could’ve gotten about six pairs for what I pay for one in the store. The Zenni glasses are also durable. I would definitely continue to order from them.

I was trying to be economical and so I started looking for frames and styles that I like. I got on to Zenni and they have great styles and some great prices. However, I called a specific number and then they called back. It was not the right person to talk to and I have to wait a couple of days or throughout the day to get someone to call back and tell me to call another number. Then the last customer service rep I spoke with was rude and condescending. I asked him basic questions since it was my first time using the product line and their website, but he was in a hurry and that's one turnoff.
Zenni sends us the frame but I don’t like how the system is done where I have to go online and configure my prescription lenses. The site is weird and not user-friendly, and I'm a layperson. It asks what size of the frame, how many centimeters from your nose to your eyes and all that stuff. It was challenging and that threw me back. In the end, I paid almost 500 bucks for the glasses but it doesn't make sense. I could’ve just gone in and put glasses and frames since what the optical techs do are a little intuitive.
Overall, while I like the frames, it was just as expensive to get the lenses put in. I would have preferred they have a one-stop shop and make everything a lot simpler. They should also have to remind the customer service reps that it should be okay to ask questions. Yet I would still wanna try again if I knew that I'd have a better experience and that I would be able to get lenses as well with the actual frames that they give. I have two additional frames that I got from them which I need to get lenses for but I need them to walk me through the system. So if they can fix this, I'd recommend Zenni to my entire family who wears glasses.

Then you may shop for a frame on our website that has dimensions that are close to those of the frame you have that fits you well. It does not have to be an exact match. A frame on our website with dimensions that are within 2-3 millimeters of the frame that fits you well should fit you just as well. Here is one caveat: On the bridge (the part that goes over your nose) stay within 2 mm of the dimensions of your frame. But on the temple arms (the parts that go over your ears) you have more of a leeway – 3-4 mm. If you do not currently have a frame that fits you well, you may take a trip to an optical store, a drug store, or a dollar store, and try on some of the frames (at the optical store) or reading glasses or sunglasses at the drug or dollar store. Zenni’s prices weren't too bad and I had my prescription, so I wanted to try one out and I really liked them. I bought regular glasses but I accidentally got a bifocal. They told me that I have to return them but I didn't want to go through the trouble because it wasn’t that much of a deal so next time, I would just get a regular. I enjoy and appreciate Zenni Optical's glasses and I would recommend them.

I got half rim glasses from Zenni Optical a few months ago and the online ordering process was easy. Also, the glasses are okay but when I first put them on, there was a little adjustment that I’ve never had to deal with any other glasses before. I don’t know if it’s the way they their lenses are split and not fitted. But I like Zenni's price and styles and I'll be ordering from them again.

I bought a pair of progressive glasses with transition lenses. Frame were super cheap and kept dropping the lenses out. The transition lenses chipped in the same spot on both lenses within 6 weeks. They would not replace or fix. Customer service is a joke. When I called after 10 days to see what they are going to do, I was told it was a manufacturer defect and it would take a month to get another pair because they had a lot of returns. Two days later received an email saying it wasn't a lens defect. After calling the representative again I was told they lost my glasses. Now they are found and I did the chips. We went back and forth for a while then after being on hold for 15 minutes I talked to a manager. He told me "I can send them back or throw them in the garbage". This is a very condensed version of what happened. Save your time and sanity! Don't buy from them.

On May 30, 2018, when you first contacted Zenni Optical to complain that the lenses of these half-rim glasses were repeatedly coming out of the rims, this purchase, made in March 2018 and delivered to you the same month, was well outside the 30-day warranty period. Nevertheless, we made a customer service exception on your behalf to receive these glasses for inspection, even though they were out of warranty. We are sorry that we initially believed we had lost these returned glasses, and we apologize for any dismay this erroneous information caused. However, we subsequently found and inspected the glasses, and we are sorry to reconfirm that our inspector found no defects in the frame or lenses. The inspector concluded that the frame had been modified from its original form, and that the chips on the lenses were caused by the application of a sharp object on the lenses to remove them from the nylon filament surrounding the lower half of the lenses that keeps them in place. Therefore, as we advised when we spoke to you on June 22, 2018, our inspector saw no manufacturing defects on the glasses, and determined that customer-caused wear and tear resulted in the chips on the lenses, and, at your request, we sent the glasses back to you. We are sorry for any frustration you felt when we advised that we did not find any damage to the frame or lenses caused by Zenni Optical, and we again apologize for any dissatisfaction you experienced as a result.

Zenni Optical's products seemed to be of good value. I ordered three pairs of glasses of the same style and ordering on their website was all right. I've had my glasses for four months now but I ended up not using them very much because I've got a round head and I bought large or XL glasses in terms of how the frames fit, and they pinched my head a lot and didn't fit it. It would be nice if there could be a clearer way of being able to tell how the glasses would fit my head better. When I first got my glasses, I really needed them here ASAP and I paid for the upgraded, faster shipping time. They were able to get my order out of their factory super quick and ship it over here. I was impressed with their express shipping because the products I purchased were coming all the way from Shanghai.

I got two pairs and they're both full rim. It was pretty hard when you aren’t trying them on, so I went with styles that I knew were similar to glasses I've had in the past. And I've been using them now for three months. If there was a Zenni store or if they did something like Warby Parker where, “We'll send you five frames, you send back and tell us which ones you want,” I would have probably tried wire frames or rimless, but I could only go with what I've known works. But other than that, it's been very pleasurable, nice and easy, and the ordering process was simple, which I appreciated. My brother has ordered from Zenni Optical before as well.

My Medicaid covers my glasses but the Medicaid glasses are cheap. I didn’t really like them and I only had a choice to get another one. But every time I go to an optical, they just sell the brand ones. So I decided to get them online and I looked for non-brand prescription frames. Ordering online from Zenni was fast and easy. I did it through my phone. That was how fast and easy it was. I had my prescription and I filled everything out. I had a question about something that I had to put a number in but there was a little question mark and that helped me out. The glasses came fast too.
Receiving my package was the highlight. When I actually got to wear them, I was super amazed. My glasses are perfect and I love them. Most of my glasses are of the same style. They’re black and square-shaped. They look like Ray-Ban. I've had the glasses for about four months and I’ve been taking really good care of them. Usually, the cloths that come with glasses are not that helpful but the one from Zenni was really helpful. The glasses don't have glare and I love that. I wear contacts and my contacts are extremely glaring. I will recommend Zenni Optical to a friend. They have a million styles and they’re very affordable.

I didn’t like the glasses that I got from my doctor and wanted some backup ones. My friend told me about Zenni Optical’s page as she buys glasses from them. She has two pairs and she told me to get from Zenni for their glasses are cheap and nice. Zenni has a good page and I’ve only ordered one pair which were full rim glasses. Their buying process was easy and fast. I even told my parents and my stepdad got some glasses too. The glasses are great, I love them, and they have lasted me a long a time. They are a bit big on me but they’re not falling off constantly. Although it bothers me a little when I look at the light and it reflects and shows two lights, I didn’t pay for the option of not having that. Other than that, I would recommend Zenni Optical to my friends and they got them too.

I placed an order & paid in full for 2 pairs on glasses on May 25, 2018. After a week with no email indicating the progress or estimated shipping date I live chatted with Zenni. I was told that it would take 14-21 days for my order to arrive & someone would contact me via email. I later received an email saying the same thing & if I wanted to cancel the order to notify them. Another week later I emailed again asking about shipping date. Zenni responded by saying they were "waiting for me to tell them it was okay to ship". This angered me so I called & asked Zenni why they needed me to tell them to ship? I spoke with a manager named Joe who apologized & promised to not only email the lab to direct ship but that he would monitor my order & I would get email abt tracking #.
On 6/7/18 I receive email that my order shipped & I would get tracking info in 2 days. 6 Days go by with NO info so I contact them again & get a email 6/13/18 saying my order arrived in California {not direct to my home} & I will be updated when it ships again. This company does not care about honoring promises, follow up with customers or the fact they are dealing with glasses people need to see, this is not a swimsuit I ordered! Additionally, the order is filled in China, not California like I was lead to believe. It will be longer than the original quote of 14-21 days & I could have ordered & have my glasses by now. Saving a few bucks isn't worth it.
To add insult to injury, I was told by Joe that if I cancel my order I will only receive 50% refund that can only be used AT ZENNI. How messed up is that? I urge people not to use this company. They are shady, deceptive in their conversations & have yet to honor any promise given since my order on May 25, 2018. I can only hope when my glasses finally arrive they are in fact made correctly. I dread dealing with something like that with this company.

I was reasonably satisfied with the selection at Zenni. The first glasses I got were sporty-looking, but they're a little small for my bifocal prescription. I also got the blue blockers, though I’m not sure if I entirely like those now. Overall it’s my first experience wearing and buying glasses, but I feel satisfied with my purchase.

I had order sunglasses from Zenni based on customer reviews. They send me the glasses and they looked only problem they put in wrong prescription in one eye and now they do not want to correct the mistake. When I asked to talk to the supervisor I was told that he cannot come to the phone as he is busy but he has confirmed to the agent they cannot replace the lens. When I asked if they will expect me to use Zenni again the agent said “YES”. That was funny so I laughed and thanked the agent for his help and hung up. Avoid Zenni!!!

I was looking for ways to save money on glasses and I googled it. The glasses at Zenni always looks good. It's hip, stylish, up-to-date and also cheaper. I have three children who wear glasses so we tried the rimless, the cat eye and the anime look. We did everything. I always email their customer service and they always email me back. I talked to them on the phone as well and they’re good and on point on their work. I place my order online and send the prescription separately by email as well, so they can match it up and confirm it. And they get back to me, tell me it’s all good and they process it. I recommend Zenni to everybody.

With the overall price of Zenni, it was worth giving it a shot. I've purchased from them about nine times. I have five pairs of glasses myself and four for my wife. We bought the half-rim, the cat eye glasses and lately I've been buying a lot of the sunglasses. The only downside with the online thing is that you're not actually looking at what you're getting. My first time everything came okay. But the second time I had problems because I didn’t know how dark the tint was. I thought I was getting a light tint because it was like 10 or 20%, but it turned out to be a lot darker than what I wanted.
But the online ordering process is very easy after you save your information for the first time. Now when I go to reorder, I just input the old prescriptions and it comes over and everything is done. But I wish I could get the processing time quicker. It normally takes three weeks. Anybody that I know of asked me about my glasses or my wife's glasses. And we've referred them to Zenni. I got the cat eyes for my wife and some other stuff that I think she would like. And I've been using it as a surprise because she doesn't know I ordered it. They just come in the mail.

Zenni's service is good. It was recommended by a friend, and we decided to give it a shot. The first time I ordered from them was four years ago and have ordered from them several times for my son and for myself. We've gotten almost all kinds of glasses according to our preferences. When I break my glasses, I order there. At least, even if I don’t have that amount of money, it’s still affordable and that’s the main key. We order and choose the glasses that we want online and then we put the specs of what they’re asking for. We base the specs on the grade of our previous exam, then after that, we wait for it. It’s awesome that Zenni has decided to have an online order for people who can affordably get hold of spare glasses, and not just one spare, at a very reasonable rate.

The first time I ordered from Zenni Optical was several years back. They were the cheapest option. I purchased three pairs of black glasses from them and the glasses I currently had for two months now were great. My only complaint and it's probably my own fault was I didn't get the anti-smear coating so they get dirty really good. Their online ordering process could not get any easier. I just have my prescription and I put it in. The only thing I had on the process was on a previous pair of glasses I ordered. They had recommended for the wind index on it and I picked one that wasn't recommended and then when I got the glasses, they had kind of weird prism effect. The problem was my prescription was too strong for the how thin and the type of lens. I get it was my own fault but it should have been something that wasn't even an option.

When I went online and looked at Zenni, they had a good selection and I really liked some of the designs and the prices were good too. Then I just filled out all the numbers for my prescription on the site, though it would’ve been easier if I could take a picture of the transcription paper and upload it. I’ve had my glasses for about two months, but I can’t really wear them because they give me really bad headaches. I drive a semi and if my eyes don’t adjust right away, I can’t keep wearing them. But I’ve sent in a couple of emails and I haven’t been given a phone number on who to contact. And every time I try to call, I’m on hold for an hour. Other than that, the quality is very good, their frames are light but durable, and the lenses are in really good shape. I got the transition lenses and they transition quickly without too much bother. And I would recommend them, but only to people who know exactly how to enter the prescription.

I’ve been ordering from Zenni Optical for a few years now. They were less expensive than others and the styles of their glasses were great. However, the quality is low which I don’t mind because the price is low. Also, the glasses fall apart and the screws become loose and they don’t have a screw set. We can’t find a screwdriver to fit the screws and each screw is sometimes a bit different. They have different hinges and I mind about the screwdriver not being available. I told Zenni about it and they told me that I could send them back to get a replacement frame at half price. But I said that was not reasonable for tightening a screw.
It would be nice if I could buy the tools. I just want to tighten the screws when everything gets all loose and falls apart. When I called their customer service about the screw thing, the rep understood and told me that she would report it to a manager because I asked her to tell her supervisor. She agreed that this was something that a supervisor should know, and she hopes that in the future it’s available. Their response was good. Moreover, the glasses become cloudy or scratched. But I’m still a fan.
Other than that, Zenni needs someone to keyword the eyeglass specifications more fully. The filter and the search function on their site do not work well enough to find a size that’s needed. For example, I have to buy child sizes and when I do that, I have to go through manually all children’s glasses. The filter is better than the search but it misses out on most of the glasses that I would buy if it came up in the search. So, I spend a long time looking for a pair that has a certain PD, the certain widths and a certain length of the arm and the PD determines whether I can buy the glasses or not. I would like Zenni to spend some time to make that search and filter work really well, so I can automatically bring up the glasses by selecting what I need to select. Now, they have the feature on the website, but it’s the data that is not correct, so the results are not true.

I was pretty happy to discover Zenni and I've had them for a while. I got four pairs of glasses at one time and it was a good price when I could have paid $100 for one pair at another place. They're stylish too. I like that I could pick any type of sunglasses and be able to see wearing them. I was wearing sunglasses before and I couldn't see, so it's nice that I can get prescription ones. I have these white sunglasses and it has a rose gold pin which I really like. I also have these green ones and I like the way they look with my skin, and it's a nice size too. The blue ones are also pretty nice. I wear those sometimes back and forth, and I have red ones when I wear a certain outfit. I ordered them last summer and I've had them for half a year now. I got two other pairs before that as well.
Ordering online was pretty easy. I was happy that I could order so many at such a reasonable price because then if something happens to one pair, I have another pair I could go to because I really need them. The whole process was great and it was easy to do. I'll probably order again in the future and I've recommended Zenni to people.

I found out about Zenni Optical from a friend and I really like their price and stylish frames. I like the smaller, thinner frames and I've also gone with the really oversized ones. I've been all over the place with my style because it's cheap and I've ordered three or so pairs. I love Zenni and I've told a lot of my friends about them. This is the very first time I ordered from Zenni and I’m very happy with the quality of the glasses I received. I love their prices. And their ordering process was very good and insightful, too. The products are very good quality especially for the price and I've already ordered twice. The ones I've purchased are a bit bigger with the round edges and I've had them in the past. I've had the glasses for about seven months now and they're great. Ordering online was really easy and we ordered a pair for my boyfriend too. I have very bad vision. Zenni Optical could make my high prescription level lenses and still put them in fashionable and cool frames so I went with them. Most recently I purchased full-rim glasses from them and their online ordering process was simple and efficient. The glasses looked neat and were inexpensive as well which was really great. The way that Zenni Optical's products were priced and the designs that they had got me choosing them over other prescription eyewear companies. I've been using Zenni for a year now and I've purchased at least 10 pairs of glasses from them. Their website is easy to use. Zenni has a very broad range of selections and I normally go for the round style. Their glasses are age-appropriate too. Zenni Optical's selection was good and I like that they were able to post the pupil distance. It was neat and they didn’t even do that at Visionworks. When I got my glasses, they felt comfortable. I've had the glasses for a couple of months and the quality has been really good. Plus, the price is phenomenal compared to what I was paying for the frames over at Visionworks or any other place. I bought $200 frames before and then I got the black glasses from Zenni for $10 and did a little bit of an add-on for the shades so this was better.
I like that Zenni Optical gave more options as far as customization of the glasses, but ordering was time-consuming. If it’s your first time, you have to read through the instructions on making sure that the glasses are ordered properly, making sure that your measurements are answered correctly and how to get your measurements. But it was fairly easy after you read through all the instructions. I’ve told a lot of my friends about them and I’m pretty sure a couple of them have actually started shopping over at Zenni too. I would recommend them to anybody I know in case they were looking for glasses.

I did some research before I purchased and many people were pleased. I was too until my glasses fell apart. I called with no success. They only stand behind a product that is less than 30 days old. Received glasses - they were comically large and they gave me a headache within minutes. After 3 tries, finally got through to customer service where they told me they wouldn't give a refund just because I didn't like them. They said if they had made them wrong, they would consider a partial refund or store credit but they won't accept a return just because they don't fit and they are physically painful to see through. I never would have taken a risk and ordered glasses through Zenni if I'd known they refuse to accept returns!

I heard about Zenni Optical and was hesitant due to how low the prices were but I figured because it was so cheap I'd try it out. I got 2 glasses for $107 after adding all the accessories and shipping. Once I got my order I absolutely loved 1 pair but did fully love the second pair. I went on a live chat with Zenni and asked if I could exchange them for a new pair and they told me they have a 100% guarantee and would just credit my account the same value. The next day I got a 3rd pair for free! It was quick and easy. I now have 3 glasses for 1/4 the cost of normal glasses.

I found putting the prescription on the site super easy but I didn’t like that I can’t try the glasses on. I sign up and get told an email will arrive to give 10% off first purchase. Never received. Checked SPAM, nothing. I then decide I will just order. I get no confirmation of my order, nothing to say when it is arriving. I call CUSTOMER SERVICE which is not in the United States, and they say that my glasses are finished, but it will take 3 weeks to receive because I only paid 4.95 standard shipping. They are made in CHINA... And then I said I want to order another pair I found and would like the 10% off. They said it was not their fault I didn't put in the 10% code. I NEVER RECEIVED ANY COMMUNICATION FROM THEM... This is no EYE BUY DIRECT. I will see what the glasses look like but the customer service is abrasive and horrible.

I saw a comparison chart with all the different prescription order online and Zenni seemed to have more features that I was looking for than the other ones. I’ve been ordering from them off and on for five years now and it has been difficult. While you’re ordering, there are terms in there and abbreviations that are not fully and clearly explained to a layman. On top of that, they don’t inform you ahead of time that you need to get your eye doctor to tell you the distance from your pupil to your other pupil. I had to ask the eye doctor about the measurements and have them explain it all to me so that I could understand it, then go back online and order from Zenni Optical. It took a great deal of persistence for me to order my first set of glasses.
I'm also displeased with my latest order. I ordered a partial rim for my husband and a full rim for me. My husband’s order came out completely wrong. It doesn’t even seem to have anything to do with the prescription that I sent in, because he couldn't see anything when he put them on. Also I’ve been trying to make the eyeglasses I ordered work. I've been wondering if mine are even correct because they’re slightly annoying me. I thought maybe my eyes need to get adjusted to them. But I found that I was using an earlier order of a prescription that’s weaker than what I needed instead of my new glasses. I’m thinking of re-researching and going possibly with someone else, which is gonna be really sick because I have promoted them by word of mouth to a number of people.
I’m in marketing and people would say that they love my glasses and ask where I had gotten them. I’ve been taking the little cards that Zenni Optical leaves in my glasses and handing them out to people and saying to get in touch with Zenni Optical. I’m not doing that now though because there was no follow-up with my latest order. If they sent me an email asking about my new glasses, it would make it so much easier for me to write back to them and tell them the problem. Instead, I’m getting robo emails that say, “10% off for 24 hours.”
I think they’re losing business hand over fist because of the care factor you have to have with an online system. They’re succeeding because they’re raking the cream off the top and they continue to advertise and they have the right kind of online advertising to capture attention. But they’re spending way more than they have to and they may be losing loyal customers like me. I’m about ready to jump ship. I’m gonna give them one chance when I write them. And if they give me a big hassle about it, I’m going somewhere else.

I’m a student, so I don’t have a lot of money to spend on glasses but those from Zenni’s are less expensive. I normally choose Cat's eyeglasses. But one of my pairs was supposed to be scratch-resistant, but it wasn’t. I used the cloth that they sent, and I put it in the case and I didn’t drop ‘em. But somehow there’s just this whole area in the middle on the left side that is scratched up. Other than that, ordering the glasses has been easy and I usually get my glasses within a week and a half, which actually is quick.

I learned about Zenni by word-of-mouth of my brother and brother-in-law. Zenni worked for me and I liked their designs. I purchased two pairs of glasses online from Zenni Optical and received it in the mail. It was a very easy process. I bought plastic frames and some metal frames. I've had them for about six months now and they have been very comfortable and durable so far. I like the plastic frames better and wear them more often. They’re a little lighter. I work at the hospital and because they're not metal I can help with the MRI. But I like the metal ones a lot too because they make me look a little more classy. I would tell friends that it's a great product and it’s very economical. Plus Zenni Optical has tons of different styles for any taste.

I heard about Zenni Optical through a friend and they are fantastic! Every single pair that I've gotten from them was awesome. I bought three pairs. I got the regular glasses that goes from clear to black for 20 bucks and I have a prescription on that. Recently, I got the tortoise shell ones. And then I got plain black ones with purple tint for sunglasses. Zenni Optical is incomparably inexpensive. I can get a full set of glasses for $10. It's insane how low the prices are and good quality glasses at the same time. Ordering online was very simple. I just entered my prescription and the next thing, I was picking up the glasses. Zenni should keep doing what they are doing. I have recommended them to my friends.

I had a friend who told me about Zenni and I decided to try it. I got the round glasses and gold frames which are nice. The full rim type is also good. I recommended Zenni to a couple of people. They all asked me where I got my glasses and I told them that I got 'em from Zenni. I also showed them how to use the app and told them that it's awesome and a great way to get good glasses. I was a cashier and I had a customer whose glasses were really awesome. She told me she only paid 12 bucks for them and then proceeded to tell me the process of getting those cheap glasses from Zenni. I came from Medicaid glasses and the glasses that I had on at the time were a pair I had found while cleaning a hotel room years ago. So, I was in bad shape. When I went to their website, the variety of the glasses was awesome. Ordering online was super easy as well, but you have to know your prescription. And if you don’t put it in right, then you’re not gonna be able to see. My process was going and getting an eye checkup. And after the checkup, I'd ask if I could get my prescription, then I'd leave and order glasses from Zenni.
You have to fill out what you're reading right too. I made a mistake one time on my sunglasses and didn’t double check what I had filled out. I didn’t tint my lens, and so I got them back as regular glasses. I ended up waiting two months before I finally called back to try and return them. Their customer service reps helped me out and told me what I could have done and what I could do in the future. I’ve always gotten my glasses way sooner than they say they were gonna send them too. Almost clockwork, I get them in a week and a half unless something crazy is going on.
I give Zenni's name out to anybody who compliments me and I tag them when I put it up on Instagram. I like to coordinate all of my stuff. I have about twelve pairs from Zenni in black, clear, purple, and yellow. They are all styled plastic frames and are all very different--round, rectangle and some have keyhole noses. I have two pairs of sunglasses as well. My sister also has about 10 pairs of glasses and they’re mostly from Zenni because I introduced her. We all love them. It's been a good experience with Zenni.

I ordered a pair of glasses and when I received them the prescription was wrong so I called customer service about returning them but I kept getting the answer of, "I'll send you a prepaid postage stamp in an email right now," which I never received and still to this day have not received and it's been three phone calls and two months later. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Zenni is terrifically great and wonderful. A friend used and recommended them and I've been ordering from them for five years. I've bought prescription sunglasses, glasses for work and transitional glasses. I've also gotten plastic frames for golfing and some kooky color for the fun of it. I have silver, gold and some other things.
The last time I ordered, I entered my prescription wrong. When I got the glasses, it didn't work. But Zenni was very good and they gave me the full refund. I was able to reorder them and get them at no cost to myself so I was very pleased with that. Also, all the search options on their website are good. Overall, it's been an awesome experience with Zenni and I recommend them to friends all the time.

I love Zenni and I’m never going back to an eye doctor ever again unless I need my prescription changed. I’m never purchasing glasses anywhere else because glasses from an eye doctor are $200 a pop, and then I end up screwing them up or losing ‘em. And then Zenni has such a reasonable price and you can change it up with outfits and styles, and it’s awesome. The website has always been there and I was always curious. At the beginning, I didn’t have my prescription on hand and I didn’t know how to type it in, so I never really used them right away. Then eventually, I did. I’ve purchased four pairs and I bought the first pair six months ago. And the online process was not bad at all.

My email had no expiration date so how was I supposed to know it expired. The guy Jason I spoke with was not helpful at all and did not even care to what I was saying. I love Zenni. I tell everybody about them and they always thank me. The price is a factor especially for people who have kids. Kids scratch and break glasses a lot. That costs hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Back in the years, Zenni also used to send a little ruler for the OD, like the measurement between the middle to the other eye. That way we can choose the frame size. That was really helpful but they don’t send that anymore. I like to have different kinds of glasses and I buy glasses every three months because of the price. I have the half-frame and the other ones were all plastic and round. I just like the way they look.

I was so happy with Zenni Optical when I saw the reasonable prices and selection of frames. I ordered several hundred dollars worth of product for myself and my husband. None of the items seemed to be good quality, but I accepted that you get what you pay for. A few months after the purchase a screw came out of one of the pairs. They're not normal screws that you can replace with those little kits - they're a two part screw, like a nut/bolt kind of thing. I contacted Zenni for a replacement screw. Apparently their warranty only lasts 30 days and they don't send replacement screws, I am told I have to buy a pair of replacement frames and change the lenses myself.
I'm not happy with this. I now see why they're cheap - their customer service was excellent when I was making my purchase, but pretty dismal now that I need help with a problem. I was all set to order more glasses, but now I know better. Buyer beware, you're not getting a bargain with Zenni, you're getting cheap glasses that they only expect to last for 30 days - after that you're on your own.

I like Zenni Optical's price and they have all the different types of frames available. I’ve ordered at least five pairs of glasses from them and have been buying from them since 2013. Ordered a pair of progressive lens glasses. According to their website I needed the midrange which the top 2/3 of the viewing lens is for up to 14' and the lower 1/3 of the lens would be for reading but when I received them it was opposite. 1/3 of the lens at the top was for distance and the lower 2/3 was for reading which according to their website is the near range. Now they're saying it wasn't made wrong so at best I can only get 50% store credit. I just want what I ordered. Such BS.

I love Zenni Optical's glasses, the different styles, and the price range is wonderful too. Plus, their online ordering process is easy. I really like switching it up so I purchased 5 different pairs, which I have had for about six months now. I could get several pairs and leave them at different places, like my daughter's home and my other daughter's home, so then I don't have to worry about having glasses when I get there. With that, I'd recommend Zenni to my friends and tell them about the wide range of glasses that Zenni offers. The frames are very sturdy. However, I would not recommend getting prescription lenses from them because my doctor told me that that is something one has to do in the office, not online.

OK. I took a chance and order a pair of bifocal glasses from Zenni. Style was fine. Prescription was good. Now six months later I have six tiny visible cracks in my right lens above the bifocals line. The cracks are on the outside of the lens and I can feel them with my fingernail. And I never dropped or misused them. At first I was impressed with the price. Now I know why they are so cheap... inferior quality. Called customer service. Told me I'm out of luck. You get what you pay for. I paid for six month glasses.

I ordered prescription eyeglasses with 80% amber tint on 03-19-2018. I called customer service on 05-10-2018 because I was having trouble seeing in the sun. I got out some old pair that were 80% tint and the new glasses were not as dark. I only wear these glasses when driving on sunny days. So when I figured out the problem I contacted customer service. They refused to make them right. The reason was that they were out of warranty. It is not like they broke. Zenni failed to fulfilled my order correctly. A Zenni employee made a mistake but the company will not fix. That's wrong.

A buddy of mine had mentioned Zenni Optical to me. He had previously ordered online from them. At that time, I was looking at some glasses because I needed to update my prescription. And if you go in a doctor’s office, it’s bazillion dollars to get a pair of glasses. I work for a living and I don’t want a $700 pair of glasses. That's not gonna happen. But with Zenni, once I got my prescription, the website was easy and self-directed enough that I could figure my way through it. So far, it was my first time ordering from Zenni Optical and I was very satisfied. I’m very happy with my glasses. In fact, I'm wearing them right now and they work well. I can now see what I’m doing. Overall, Zenni Optical met all my needs.

When I first started to get big years ago, I bought a pair of glasses from Zenni and the product was poor at that time. The frame was chintzy and the chrome peeled, but it was okay. At least I got some glasses to comply with the US or state requirement that mandates an eye prescription. But I couldn't see any more out of those glasses I bought eight years ago, so I went back to Zenni. I went online and got new glasses from them which I had between 7 and 10 days. The packaging was superb and I was very impressed with it.
I wasn't expecting any change in quality but the ones I got are stronger than the ones I had before. Plus, I'm impecunious right now and I can't afford to go and have eye examinations. So, I had to sort of practice what my prescription might be and since I'm near sighted, I gambled and dropped the power, and now I can see much better with my new glasses. Also, I didn't realize that they had this UV protection thing and it's the single most costly component of the glasses which exceeded the frames. But it can be believed that it's real and it works which is great because that's a really important thing now with all the computer and blue UV light to protect your retina.
So, I'm thrilled with the glasses I got from Zenni Optical. They're really good and the prescription's great. They're extremely clear and I'm in heaven with them. And their price was $49. It's one of the best deals in America and I've been telling people about it but people don't listen. You see a lot of online ads for other eyeglass offers that are virtual but the thing is they're all US based, more expensive, and require that you have this stupid prescription. I know I can't brag about that because I checked a box that says that I had one, but I know what my eyes were and how they are now. This is the best I can see in years. The glasses are amazing and I'm stunned. It's something out there that's actually real as advertised. Other than that, Zenni also has great service. So, there is still a way to make a lot of money in this country. And if you follow up a service and treat people well, you're gold.

I've been trying to get my refund for several months now and they refuse to do it. They blame it on "policy" and they give you the runaround so that you are forced to buy from them again. Just like another reviewer posted, I also was told my prescription was written wrong so they are not at fault for my glasses not working. Also, they suggested reordering the glasses, so I did, and again, they were wrong! Finally, I paid about 75 dollars for some cheap ugly glasses that did not work so I returned them and I never got my money back. I was offered 50% store credit.

I liked the affordable prices at Zenni Optical. Their online ordering process was very easy but Zenni could reduce the amount of waiting time for the glasses. I got full-rim, circular framed glasses from them. I've always wanted circular frames but then the ones at stores were too small. Those from Zenni were wide enough for my face width. I was looking around online for a cheaper way to buy glasses. Then I found Zenni and I’ve been purchasing from them for 10 years now. They only charge $4.95 for shipping no matter how many pairs I buy and didn’t have a bunch of side charges. With them, I’m able to buy the number of glasses that I want. This year, I bought four pairs of reading glasses, my regular bifocals, and sunglasses with bifocals on them. Before Zenni, all I could do was buy a pair of glasses that cost me $700 and I was sick of it.
Their customer service team is good, too, while most of the people that I ordered from before really didn’t care. I have trouble remembering about the bifocals on some of the prescriptions, so if I send in a prescription, Zenni's reps will contact me and let me know that I need to subtract so much for a particular kind of glasses or whatever for my pupillary distance. Their ordering process is quick as well. I usually have my glasses in two weeks and sometimes even quicker than that. If there is a problem with their glasses, they trade it out. I had a mess up one-time and they didn’t even charge me to return the glasses. They’re a five-star company all the way across.

It was super easy to order glasses at Zenni Optical. And it was my first time using them, but it was easy to plug in the prescription and then pick a pair of frames that I like. My husband sent me a link to the website because I needed to order glasses and we didn’t have a lot of money. The ones I went with are plastic. They are full frames and have little flowers and little stones on the side in, like a reddish burgundy color. And it's been a couple of months since I owned these glasses. They are wonderful. So I intend to buy some more. I’m a mom, so glasses are a necessity especially with three little ones. I’m just like, I need some new ones just in case. Also, you can’t beat $40 especially when they’re actually well-made. I was impressed. At first, I was like they’re going to fall apart in a week. And their representative said to try it. And I did. I’m sold and I recommend these glasses to everybody.

A co-worker told me about Zenni, and after doing further research on the web, I've now used them extensively for about six years. I liked their prices and the ease of using them. The price, compared to going out to a retail place, is like cutting out the middleman. They undercut the problem of clients having to go to an optometrist and then to a retail place and go through that procedure to where we can just do it all online. And on their website, we can get the 3-D image of the product, revolve it, try on different frames and see how they're gonna look. Also, we can now upload our image and try them on and do the 360 thing, which is really beneficial.
Also, they have many different styles and options. I usually get two pairs, a clear one and one of my sunglasses. And I've gotten a couple of prescription sunglasses for less than $30. No one can beat that. The glasses were tinted, Amber, and they came in hard-shell cases with cleaning cloth. And the prescriptions have always been filled perfectly. The shipment has always been good, too, and items were never damaged and the delivery is always on time. I had to wait seven to 10 days or longer, but when I get them, it's quality product. Zenni is an outstanding company that fulfills what they say they'd do. I'm very satisfied with them all the way around, and I will continue to use them. And I've told other people about them because the service that I have gotten has been excellent.

My mom knew a lot about Zenni Optical and she told me about it. I then bought full rim glasses from them and have had it for a couple of months now. My friend has a pair of glasses like mine. But hers were like $200, and I got mine from Zenni at a better price. My glasses are nice but they’re slanted now. I don’t lay on them. Although it’s crooked, it still does the job. I still see well with the prescription. But I just wish they’re a little more sturdy.

I like Zenni's price and I also like the wide assortment and options they have. I’ve ordered sunglasses and regular glasses from Zenni in the past, which I did online. For the most part of the ordering process, it was easy. But the one thing I struggled with a bit was trying to figure out the sunglass option. I was looking for a sunglass button and I finally figured out that I had to choose the tint, but that wasn’t obvious. The sunglass option needs to be a bit clear that that’s available. But I was glad I have that option and it’s also a great product at a great price. I’ve also had rimless glasses and my most recent purchase was a regular framed glasses. I liked the frames but they seemed to be blurry. The quality wasn’t as good as the other batches that I’ve ordered. Nevertheless, it was a positive experience with Zenni.

I like the price of Zenni. I bought the cat-eye frame from them because I thought it looked really good on me. I order a pair every other month from them and the process was very easy. It's just that the temple broke easily on the first cat-eye frame that I've ordered. I’ve ordered four pairs since and they're holding pretty well. I’m satisfied with the style options that I’m seeing from Zenni although it would be nice to see more cat-eye frames. My healthcare won’t provide me with a new pair of glasses but every five years. I have to leave the country so I won’t be here at the time where my insurance will pay for the next pair and Zenni had cheaper glasses which I wanted. I love the options I have with them. The whole trying on the glasses with the picture is really cool and I wish that was something that was available in more online shopping places because it gave me a good idea of what the glasses was gonna look like before I spend the money. They have you take a picture of your face and you have to upload it to the site. It keeps that picture, so when I find a pair of glasses that I want, I can go to that page and there’s an option that says “try on”. It will bring my picture up and show me what the frames look like. It helps me to show where my pupil was so when I upload the picture, they can make the glasses fit as well. It’s as accurate as something like this can be.
I have two things from them, one is $9 and one was $7, and I have noticed absolutely nothing different. Both of them are like any pair of glasses I would have gotten from the eye doctor. And it was nice because they had coupon sunglasses for the second pair I got and that was only $5. I also like how they have a bunch of different options when we’re getting the glasses and the price for them was lower. There was no drop in appearance when looking down at the lower frame prices. The styles are different but the glasses that are $7 are looking as good as some of the ones that are up at $20. Only the materials, style and design are different.
It was amazing. When I’m buying the glasses, it also lets me save my prescription, so I don’t have to re-enter every single time which is really cool. Zenni gives me a list of all the different things I can do with my lenses. It recommends one specific lens based on my prescription. The one I needed to get was $20 because it’s a high-index that’s really thin, otherwise, it would be really heavy. It lets me add lens tints, transition and UV blockers. Basically, I can turn it into sunglasses. I can also get anti-reflective coating and they have prescription goggles available which makes me really happy and excited. I’m gonna get some of them.

I am a Zenni customer for a few years. All my orders were made for glasses with polychromic lenses (the lenses are changing to darker when in the sunshine and back to plain white when back inside). Never had any problem with my lenses, they would became dark dark amber in the sunshine, for the tune of $29 added at the time of the order. The lenses received with my last order are clearly faulty, they simply don't get any darker than vaguely pale.
I get in touch with Zenni by e-mail. I've asked to receive another set of lenses and I'll change on place the old ones. They responded very fast (next day). They started by asking for pictures. Then new pictures, in the sun. Then "put your glasses in the freezer for 30 minutes, perhaps that will activate them". Then "send us your glasses and we'll decide what to do". Everything but addressing the problem.
I'm very upset with all the matter. I need the glasses, that's why I've ordered them, and sending them back it's only losing another 6 weeks time for nothing (three weeks one way). Revolting approach for Zenni after sale support, IMHO. When ordering from Zenni, one has to accept the plus (relatively low price) and the minus (zero care after sale) included. Your choice.

Zenni glasses were inexpensive and good value. Be aware that bifocals and progressive prescriptions require exact measurements of your face, eyes and frame. Every frame is different for the lens center and your eye. I would only order single vision lens from Zenni. The PD is an easy measurement.

My wife's friend talked good about Zenni Optical so we chose to pick that company. I bought a pair of glasses for my daughter and it's kind of big for her but it's good because her face is a little bit small. Also, maybe it was me who didn't really know how to choose the right size. And I didn't know the numbers of the optical, how they work that out, and how close is the eyes to the nose. I did it online and if it would've been in person, it would've been a little bit better.

I was out of glasses and my prescription was out of America's and I didn't wanna pay $80 for a new pair of glasses. A friend of mine recommended Zenni Optical and their prices were much better. I ordered online and I was thrilled when the glasses arrived. I got three pairs for under $40 and one of the glasses had a half-rim frame. I lost one, broke one, and I temporarily lost the other one so I would be ordering again. I was happy with them. I could see through the glasses and there wasn’t any crappiness to them at all. Zenni Optical had a fantastic service and the experience was a breeze, and I recommended them to two other friends.

Zenni Optical had the niftiest glasses. I've ordered from them twice and among the 17 pairs of glasses that I bought, I like the black ones with my polka dots. I had my eyewear since September of last year and I pretty much bought all the plastic ones. My mom also ended up getting some too and we even had a matching pair by accident. I really liked the choices of frames and the quality of their glasses, but it would get smeary if I wiped them with anything other than the cloth that they sent them with. So there were times when I was outside and the glasses would get a little wet and I had to smear at them before I could get to my car or get my purse.
Zenni had really fast shipping. I would know when they were being made and put in the mail. Also, I had bought two pairs of prescription glasses from my eye doctor and I spent about $200. And then I turned around and bought five pairs from Zenni for the same price I bought for two. So I really like that Zenni is affordable and overall, their products are amazing.

I had never purchased glasses online previously, but the glasses from my optometrist were so expensive I decided to try an online retailer. Zenni seemed to have a fair reputation, so I ordered using my new prescription. I found the pricing very reasonable and quite surprisingly inexpensive. The glasses arrived and my initial impression was the quality appeared to be acceptable. I started wearing the glasses (which had progressive lens) and after less than an hour, my eyes hurt. I tried again the next day and the same situation. I took them to my optometrist to have the prescription checked. Both eye prescriptions were off... Not just by a little, but a lot and the reading element was off as well... As was the axis measurement. All I can say is they were consistent in their manufacturing... Every element incorrect.
I phoned to return the glasses and the first person I spoke with indicated that Zenni would give me a credit. I was very happy that the company would provide such great customer service. Then when I called back for the return authorization, I was told, "No you cannot get credit... We will give you store credit." Why would any consumer take store credit from someplace where he or she will never shop again... That is just throwing away money. I was told I could send them back and they would try... Note try, to remake them. I must say, the return was easy as they sent a return label at no cost. I returned them and they have been at Zenni in California for three days, but when I contacted them to confirm they were in process, I was told they do not have a record of them being at Zenni yet. Great!!!
The agent seemed to have a few misspelled words, so I inquired if he was in the California lab. NO LAB in California, all the glasses are made in China. Surprise. I looked everywhere on the website and could not find that the glasses were made in China; as had I known this, I NEVER would have ordered. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service. By the time they check the lens, reorder, remake, ship to California so the new glasses can be shipped to me in Texas, it could be weeks... That is weeks with no glasses. I cannot recommend this company and will never purchase from them again.

Zenni Optical's pricing is great and their choices of frames are excellent. I’ve ordered the full-rim metal ones before and because it was so thin, it snapped. I ordered them again and it snapped again. I ordered the full-rim plastic pairs which last longer and they're durable. I’ve had several pairs and I've had them for a couple of months now. Some pairs lasted longer than the others. In addition, the online ordering was easy. There was also a section where I could simply press “Re-order.” It was super helpful that I didn’t have to go and search for the frames. I always tell my friends that once they get their child’s prescription, to go to Zenni Optical. They don’t need to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars.

Last year I lost my optical insurance. So I ordered glasses with a new Rx from my eye doc through Zenni.com. High magnification, high index lens, bi-focal. I get the glasses from Zenni and I can't see across the room. I can't see up close. Everything looks like a double image. I think my eye doc made an error. I go back to the eye doc (at LensCrafters). He checks the glasses from Zenni on no less than 4 different machines. Then he re-checks my Rx and gives me an example pair. (you wander around a mall looking like a spaceman) The example pair works perfectly, I can read a sign over a hundred yards away. I can see the texture on dust particles.
He says: "The glasses you got from Zenni are WAAAY off the Rx I gave you, STOP using them and get a correctly manufactured pair." I contact Zenni about the defective glasses, they issue a return shipping label and state: "Return the glasses, once we inspect them, we will inform you of what to do next." ELEVEN DAYS PASS with no word from Zenni. THEN they inform me: "It takes 10 days to inspect the glasses to verify the defect." I inform them: "It's already been eleven days!" Zenni replies with "Please be patient".
Out of the 2 pairs I ordered from this place, the computer use pair was within tolerances (my eye doc said barely) and the everyday bi-focal pair were completely wrong. If you have a high magnification Rx, or progressives or bifocals you are seriously rolling the dice as far as an accurately manufactured pair of glasses. A return will take more than TWO MONTHS, or they will offer you a "50% store credit refund." IF you get an accurately made pair of glasses it's the best deal on the planet. (Great quality frames!) IF!

I was working in the medical field and a couple of nurses were talking about buying glasses from Zenni so I checked it out. I've used them since 2014 and I have two accounts with them. My ordering process is pretty simple. I like the way it’s set up and I like the way it saves my prescription. That way, next time I go in, I can just click it and it’s done. Customer service has been wonderful. I have three children that wear glasses and they go through about 15 pairs of glasses each year. So whenever they break them, Zenni gives a decent time and price. Also, they have a good selection. You can try the frames on your face and they’re wonderful quality. I'm very satisfied.

I’ve been purchasing from Zenni Optical for six years. Somebody told me about Zenni and I’ve ordered four times from them. They have cheap, decent glasses. I could get better ones but I always find the cheap ones because I work with little kids. I typically order online the full rim glasses since it’s the style that I like to put on my face. The quality of the eyeglasses that I received from Zenni is fine and these were a lot sturdier than I expected them to be. I've had the eyeglasses break on me only once, when one was stepped on. Also, a screw came out of another one, but that was easily replaceable.
But I’ve always had to find an online thing that gets the distance between the eyes and that didn't come with my prescription. It would be awesome if Zenni had one that would link to the prescription. Nevertheless, I like Zenni and my experience with them was really good. People ask me where I get my glasses and I tell lots of people about Zenni Optical.

Customer Service via telephone or online chat is near impossible to reach - When we did speak to a representative, we were told that after they received the returned product, we would receive a refund. I just picked out the frame online, then put in my information. Then the eyewear was sent to me within a couple of weeks. I’ve had my eyewear for a couple of years now and they’re good quality.

I’ve been a Zenni Optical customer for about eight years. I like the variety and the price. I prefer the cat-eye frames and if it’s sunglasses, I like the wraparound types for protection. I also have a lot of wireframe glasses and even the rimless ones. The cat-eye is complementary and the rimless are really lightweight. Also, when I’ve lost a screw or a nose pad, they’ve always been really good about replacing them. So I can have glasses that last for years and keep getting new ones, so I have a nice collection. In the last order I had, I mentioned that I needed new nose pads, so they threw in some nose pads for the pair of glasses that I needed. It also came with the little screw that I need to get the nose pads to stay, so it was cool. They just pop that in with my other order. Somebody actually reads the notes that I put on the order, which is nice. A lot of places don’t.
Five years ago though, I ordered some frames and when they came, the quality of the design was not as nice as I thought and I could not really zoom in on the frame on the website. Zenni needs to make sure that people can really zoom in on the frames so that when they are stuck with embellishments, you can really see it. I wrote to them and said that it was ugly and that I didn’t like it and they replied with, “Well, it is what you ordered, right?”, and I was like “Yes”, so I had to keep them. But that was just one pair out of about 15. Still, I tell my friends to go with Zenni Optical.

I got a square-rim style glasses from Zenni Optical and I used it with the tint for sunglasses so I could use it for driving. I first knew about them when I went online and used a Google search. I also happened to mention them to my boss. He said he was aware of the company name and that they were very good. Zenni's customer service was awesome. I needed to submit a receipt for my insurance coverage and what I got from my email wasn’t that great. So I contacted them and asked them for a formal receipt and they sent it to me the next day. They were very quick and they did resolve the problem. They had a very effective and fast process. If a friend would ask me about Zenni Optical, I would definitely tell them to give it a try because the prices are great. I found that some other walk-in type of service places sometimes have more fashionable ones but I was very satisfied with Zenni so I would definitely order from them again.

I like to change up my style and I like to order a lot of glasses. That’s hard to do when glasses are $200. But at Zenni Optical, they are so cheap that I can try them out which is nice. Apart from the great prices, they have a lot of options, like different styles. And I've tried things that I won't usually, like the aviator style that I got. I like the big cat-eye glasses too. I have been with Zenni for two years now. I have 10 pairs of glasses and I've never had a problem with any of my orders. The shipping is really fast too. Their interface could use an improvement but I like their Instagram post. Zenni is really affordable, stylish and cute with good quality and I've told about 20 people. They like that too because nobody wants to have one pair of glasses when they can switch it up to try different styles.

Zenni Optical's prices are cheap and I've recommended them to friends. I ordered from them a few years ago and since then, I've ordered wireframe, plastic frame, and all different types of glasses. Mostly, I've ordered the same style, just made of different materials. I would just put my prescription in and place the order online. And the prescriptions are always right. The process takes about two weeks. Once they manufacture the glasses, they send them in the mail and that usually takes three to four days.

Zenni Optical's prices are fairly cheap. I ordered online and it was pretty simple. The site asked me all kinds of different questions about what I wanted to add, like lenses. I already had a pair of glasses that had thick frames and I wanted a different pair. And I liked that I could take a picture of myself and put the glasses on my actual face. That way, I could see how it was gonna look on my face because just looking at them on somebody else’s face doesn’t really help. They got the glasses to me in a quick manner and I did not have to pay for shipping. But when the glasses came in, the lenses were a lot thicker than I expected even though I had paid $30 extra to make sure that they weren't too thick because I'm super blind. But overall, I liked Zenni Optical and I would recommend them.

I’ve been advised about Zenni Optical by a friend that have already tried them. I like their price and the quality of their products is not too bad. I’m very happy they are in the market. I got full rim glasses from them and ordering was pretty easy, except the part where I needed to put the number. When I went to the optometrist, I got a number. But sometimes, it is a little bit different and I needed to ask the optometrist what was the right number. Also, the top film on my first order started peeling after some time. It also started having little scratches too much and I needed to throw it away. Other than that, I was very pleased with Zenni. Ordering from them was fast and they were reliable. I'd recommend them to others and I'd tell them not to go anywhere else.

I ordered from Zenni for the first time five months ago and I got a pair of full rim glasses. I had gone to the eye doctor before and I've always wanted a pair that looks like that but I didn't want to spend. But since Zenni was so inexpensive, I went with them. I received a defective pair of glasses. I tried contacting this company through both the company's, Live Chat option on their website and calling. Both, left little result. I was never able to speak to someone on live chat, because when a live operator came online, they would automatically disconnect me, prior to greeting me or addressing my concerns. When I called, each time I received a hold message, with an anticipated wait time of over an hour. I emailed the company, and received a response.
Rather than issuing an RA for the item, I was given the option of taking a picture of the defective (not damaged) merchandise and receiving new frames, and suggested I take my own lenses out and replace them with new frames; This was not acceptable. I just wanted to return the item, after all of the hassle. In short, this company has violated my consumer rights, by not returning the merchandise when requested. I will never do business with Zenni again, based on the lack of service and blatant violation of my rights as a consumer. Well done Zenni!

My cousin told me about Zenni and I was able to try her glasses on. I like the glasses so I bought them with a pair of sunglasses as well. Their prices were really reasonable and when I spoke to their customer service, they were excellent and really helpful. The part that goes around my ear was a little bit too big so I contacted them to see what I could do and they offered up an immediate solution. It was a very good service. The ordering process online was extremely easy too and very user-friendly. Recently, I decided to get a third pair of glasses, regular dark-frame glasses with a full rim. I have had a great experience with Zenni. Their glasses are very affordable, they have a very large variety and they have a very fast shipping. I suggest people check them out.

FINANCIALLY: Zenni is very rewarding. PRODUCT QUALITY: Zenni lenses are good, but Zenni rimless frames are 100% very disappointing and very frustrating (read: entirely worthless). I've tried 3 pair of ZENNI rimless glasses (yes - three), each demonstrating bridge screws that always constantly loosen and always constantly fall out (that's 3 pair out of 3 pair - an astounding 100% failure rate!). CUSTOMER SERVICE: Contact Zenni by phone and, no matter the time of day, I've always been on hold for 45 minutes (plus!), while enduring the same repeated recorded message every 20 seconds advising to continue waiting. SUMMED UP EXPERIENCE: I've given this company two chances and all items have failed - AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS.

Zenni Optical has a lot to choose from and a lot of add-ons too. Usually, I like to try on eyewear before I buy it but my friend had a specific pair of sunglasses that I like so I went with them. I bought a pair for someone last year but this is the first time I purchased for myself and I got myself a pair of sunglasses with clear frames and tinted lens. Their website was easy and the ordering process went well. I’ve had it for two months and I love them. Zenni is doing a great job and I will continue to buy from them. I ordered a product and selected specific criteria (gray tint). However, when you order and you scroll down to select other criteria on the page, it clears some of your previous selection. Clearly, a website glitch, but I have to pay for the shipping to-and-from, and I can only get store credit. When I contacted customer service, they said, "Yes, you can't select this and this option." But the website is NOT clear about that. It does provide a "Quick Tip" which I overlooked. Who would think a "Quick Tip" would indicate a way to completely alter your order without even knowing it?? Very frustrating.
Updated on 05/30/2018: Because of a Zenni website issue, I received the wrong glasses at the value of $28.85 (with shipping). After weeks of trying to resolve this, Zenni said they would send me the correct glasses that cost $11.90 ($16.85 with the 4.95 shipping fee). Although I fully believe the ethical and sound business practice would be to refund the whole amount of $28.85, because they caused this unbelievably ridiculous and terrible customer service issue, I did expect to at least receive the difference ($12).
They stated that they would replace my glasses at "no charge". I did not realize that that meant they got to take money from me; otherwise, I would never have agreed to it. That is theft and unethical. I am in shock that I have to explain that to them. Although, it's a small amount, I don't want anyone else to have to deal with such a terrible experience. I have told all of my friends to avoid this company because of it. Zenni has continued to ignore my emails now that I pointed that out this obvious issue to them and they have refused to address this issue. Please, if you're considering using Zenni, look to any other website for glasses. I've heard great things about Warby Parker.

Zenni Optical was easy to deal with and inexpensive. I've ordered from them six times. I broke a lot of glasses in the industry that I'm in. So I just set the glasses down, forget them, drive over them, crush them and scratch them. They're inexpensive glasses and scratch easily. But, for their price, they're not bad. I've tried a wide variety of their glasses and they were either really good or insanely bad. I've gotten lenses where when I look through them, I can't see scratches, but I see a whole bunch of circles from the center point of the glasses out, making them actually useless. I can't get a hold of anybody on the phone that can help me, so I called up to get customer service and it was challenging, so I ended up tossing them. It's not worth the hassle. But usually, I don't see the circles when I'm just looking through them.
I've got two pairs and the second pair, I just got a set. Another thing was that I paid for the great scratch-resistant. There was the one lady who was telling me that the one pair is more scratch-resistant than the other and it was just absolutely the opposite. So, for a good pair of glasses, I would never consider Zenni and don't recommend them to most of my friends because they are what they are. After getting a $35 pair of glasses, they'll say it's $6.95 for the lenses, and then once I get through all the options, it's a $30 pair of glasses. Nevertheless, Zenni has so much product and the ordering process online was slick. I haven't entered my head in there yet and put the glasses on my face, but it seems pretty intuitive and easy to get through.

But then my eyes are getting weak again so I started buying glasses and Zenni's prices have kept me with them. The prices of eyeglasses have been going up and it’s nice to have lots of pairs. Their service is great and fast too. I've mostly gotten the smaller, boxier frames just for the need of it. I choose the glasses, go online and order then two weeks later, my order comes in. I’m very satisfied with Zenni Optical and tell friends to buy from them. You can also put your photo on your account and virtually try the glasses on.

I caught up with a friend of mine at a local studio and I talked to her about her glasses. She said where she had got them a little inexpensive and delivered online and she gave me Zenni Optical’s website. I’ve ordered from them twice now and I’ve had my eyewear for maybe two years now. I got a pair of glasses because I was traveling, then I lost the pair that I had my prescription and I had no time to go back to see an eye doctor and get another pair.
It was going to take me some time for me to go back to the eye doctor anyway and I knew they were going to charge me fees and reschedule because I was within a month of renewing my service. It was easier to go through and order from Zenni Optical. I didn’t remember my login, so I made a new one. This time, I use a clip like a Clubmaster-type of thing and it’s blue. It’s a regular, clear, elliptical frame and it’s something that’s been suitable for day to day. And then, there’s the other one that was mellow pink.
Their website was pretty user-friendly. I ordered the eyewear where I may be at and everything was handled within the time period that they said it would and it was inexpensive. It was so much easy and I didn’t have to talk to an actual customer service representative. The only thing that was a little difficult was trying to work on the pictures. It seemed the glasses were bright and the pictures always make the glasses really huge on your face than when you go to a store. That was difficult, but I knew my style anyway and I knew what I like. Zenni is pretty cool and I have referred people to them. They offer numerous styles and sometimes, and you can find styles of glasses from certain name brands. They’re not limited to what pairs local shops offered.

One of my coworkers had some yellow frames and it was so cute. I asked her where she got it and she showed me the Zenni Optical site, and I went with them because of the affordability, their selections, and how fast the orders come. The ordering process is fairly quick. You take a picture of your prescription and upload it. Then they verify it and then be on your way. The cat eye and the circle frames are my favorites. And I also like the plastic frames together because I have small kids. My experience with them has been so simple and easy and I’m very pleased, and I order glasses from Zenni as often as I can.

I wish I would have heeded the warnings about Zenni Optical, their sloppy job, their policies and the awful customer service. I wish I would have known in time that at least one in four glasses they make are unusable. If you're getting one of those three in four, you're fine. If you get, however that one in four botched glass, then you're out of luck. You better cut your losses, and order again your glasses somewhere else. Otherwise, you're just wasting time and shipping money with returning your defective glasses, because they will never admit to their mistake, and will never send you new ones!!!
I ordered from them a very simple prescription of reading glasses, with +1.5 at both eyes. The glasses arrived with one of the lenses with a considerably higher diopter, of +2 or +2.5. The difference in the two lenses was obvious, and I couldn't use them at all. After returning the glasses, Zenni Optical didn't admit to their mistake, claiming that the glasses were fine. Of course, they can do this, because there is no way I could prove them otherwise, especially that now they have both my money and my glasses! They are willing to return 50% of the cost of the glasses, but the wasted time (I still don't have any glasses!!!) and money for the shipping back and forth make me a clear loser in this case. Zenni was simple and easy to get through. All I had to do was put my stuff in and order them and then I got my glasses in the mail. Since I don’t have transportation, this process helps me a lot. I already ordered twice. But I had mailed back the first one because I can hold them out and I can see perfectly fine, but I couldn’t see perfectly fine with them on my face all the way. That pair was just classic and it was black and white. It had little skulls on the sides and I put my name on there because I thought that was neat. They were also cheap and cute.
I’m still not getting the correct glasses that I need and I keep having troubles. I’ve been waiting to speak with somebody about it because I picked out the frames that I wanted, but then they sent me a message that I couldn’t use those frames, so I had to take a different pair. We had a miscommunication about the glasses and I don’t care what they look like. I just want something that I can see through. I still have something credited to my account from the last glasses that I have purchased. I have tried calling Zenni and for some reason, the phone hangs up abrupt when somebody answers and I don’t know what’s going on with that. I’m hoping that I can speak to somebody soon about it because I’ve been through this hassle of trying to get this corrected for the past four months.
I’ve also done the online texting with them and I kept missing them. I go back to my email and see that they have messaged me, so I’ll read it and I message them back. And now, they’re saying that they refunded the money to the card that I had used. I used my friend's card for that purchase and I gave her the cash for it, and Zenni refunded it back to her card. I told them I can’t do that because she’s no longer around, so it’s a bigger mess. Zenni should have somebody for me to call and contact as soon as the issue with the first pair had occurred. That would be a lot easier than having to go through the internet to contact and to message them. Zenni responded to me, but I really didn’t get the customer service that I wanted.

I’ve ordered some glasses from LensCrafters and they wanted a whole lot of money. I saw the Zenni Optical ad, did a little bit of research, looked into it, and got two pairs of glasses for just a small percentage of what LensCrafters are worth. Also, I was amazed at how they estimated the product arrival time and that they were shipping close. The delivery was alarmingly quick. I got an aviator and another one that’s semi-frameless, small rectangular lens. The aviator type has been what I've been using before. The frames were a little bit smaller than I had anticipated for the lens size though. I’m near-sighted, and I got the other one so that I can peek over the top of the lens and read if I look through lenses and see far away. I was amazed by how awful the prescription was on my left eye but I’m pretty happy at this point.
The temple started to get just a little bit loose on one side of the glasses. I’ve got some jewelers screwdrivers, tightened it up, and it’s all better. If I just monitor how tight the temples are, I don’t have to worry about losing the only screws that are involved. I understand that they’re not as robust and as heavy-duty as what I’ve had in the past but if I pay attention to them, I’ll beat the longevity out of them. I’m very happy with them. I’m going to go to a different ophthalmologist next time and I’ll be ordering again. Zenni is more than a value. It’s a heck of a deal.

I've had Zenni Optical eyewear for over a year now. I knew about this company through a friend and I loved the design and the affordability of their glasses. I went online to order and the site asked for as much information as possible pertaining to my prescription to give me the most accurate pair of glasses. I love that I was also able to customize the glasses. I have ordered three pairs and all have my name on the sides. One of them was a clear pair that's full-rimmed and a little cat-eyed. I also had put the transition lenses on one of the pairs while the two had the clip-on to convert my glasses into sunglasses and they work perfectly. I'm comfortable with the glasses and they fit my style. People would always give me compliments and ask me where I got them. The prices were amazing as well. Zenni is good and I have recommended them several times.

I ordered my glasses for the first time, paying for the fastest shipping at an additional $18.99, they were supposed to be here by Saturday. On Monday they were "out for delivery", on Tuesday they were "out for delivery", by Tuesday afternoon there was an "exception scan"- it is Wednesday and I've tried contacting them via their "chat" but after waiting to be "connected" for over a half hour I've opted to call. I've now been on hold for 19 minutes. Very disappointed after having someone tell me to try Zenni.

I used to just go directly to my optometrist and when my niece introduced Zenni Optical to me, I've ordered from them. Zenni has a lot of selections and ordering is quick and very easy. Everything has always been on time and although I emailed their customer service once asking them when I would get my glasses, they told me right away when I was going to get it and then gave me a tracking number. My glasses last me a bit. The one I have now is wire-framed and I like its shape. I've been purchasing from Zenni for about four years now and I’ve had a great experience with them.

I purchased progressive lens glasses and shortly after receiving them, Zenni updated the options you could get on progressive lenses. I discovered after wearing my glasses for a short time that I needed one of the other progressive options. I contacted them and was sent a return authorization with no problem. According to my tracking number, the glasses have arrived back at Zenni but I still have not received the credit on my account so I can re-order my glasses. I have tried to contact Customer Service on several occasions and each time the recording says my wait time will be over 20 minutes. My only complaint at this point is that they need to hire more personnel to improve their Customer Service. Otherwise, I feel they offer a good product and are a reputable company.

I bought my first pair of glasses at an eye doctor but it's very expensive so I searched for cheaper alternatives online. I found Zenni and they had good reviews and people seemed pleased with their experience. I’ve been using them for 10 years and ordering is easy and streamlined. They don’t have any problems and I’ve always been happy with it. Most of the pairs I ordered were black thin-rimmed but I have a plastic pink pair right now and I’ve never had an issue with any of my glasses. I like the way they look on me plus, it’s a cheaper alternative than buying in a store. I looked at other eyeglasses but Zenni had some of the best prices and they had a lot of styles to choose from. I ordered progressive lenses, the order arrived, I couldn't read with them. They gave a return label, I sent them back, they said I was given the wrong prescription and they would send me a corrected pair. I just got them and they are the same as the first pair. I still can't see near.

My sister uses Zenni and they have a really good price which I took advantage of. I ordered four different pairs because I love them and if you’re going to wear glasses, you should have a variety. I did it online and the delivery was quick and easy. They just showed up in my mailbox and they were good to go. I even ordered sunglasses, too. When I got glasses from my eye doctor, it took longer for me to get it done so Zenni works quicker than my optometrist. I told my other sister to use Zenni and I will refer my friends too.

Ordered a pair of reading glasses. Glasses arrived but the lenses kept popping out of the frame. When I called to complain Zenni sends me a new frame. However the lenses kept popping out of them as well. You would think it was obvious that there was something wrong with the lenses right? Customer service sent me a prepaid label to mail the whole shebang back. Several days later Customer Service insists that I did not send the lenses back. They are crazy. All this hassle for glasses that I paid $6.95 + shipping which was $11.21 total sale. Look at all the fighting I had to go through and still no glasses. I solved my problem by disputing this charge with my credit card. They refunded my money. Stay away from this company. Junk all around and no service at any price.

I used Costco and a local company before but friends recommended Zenni's website. I've had their glasses, the metal ones, for about seven months now and everything is okay but the focus is a little bit too up-side. It has to be down, maybe half inch down. When I use it, I have to put my glasses on the up to a little bit more higher and it’s a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise, they’re really good glasses and I love them. I would recommend Zenni's website to several friends.

A friend of mine bought glasses from Zenni’s website and told me about it. I needed a new pair of glasses and I liked the frames. It was inexpensive and they came in less than a week so I was very interested. I ordered once from them and everything was very easy to use. I typed in my information and they confirmed it. Everything's worked really well that I didn't need help with any customer service but talking to someone may have been helpful with finding out about all the styles and all the different styles because I didn’t get to go through all the different styles. I simply went for the one that I saw that I liked. I needed another sense of instruction but at the same time, it’s a benefit that I didn’t need customer service at all. I got a style which had a circular frame and the bends that went around my ears were tortoise. My sisters, my mom and my friends bought glasses from them. I've told friends that it's inexpensive and fast and I'd still recommend today.

I was trying to find a different company and Zenni Optical's prices were less. In December, I purchased black glasses with little rims. They're thin frames with little rhinestones at the end of the eye part and the arms. I like the style but I thought they were bigger than they were. Also, I didn't know you could check your eyes online. I was telling my eye doctor that I didn't know how to do that then a friend told me that I had to go through a certain place and I could measure my eye. Still, I have recommended them.

Poor quality of manufacturing prescription lenses. Could not even see properly out of lenses. Customer Service was very negative. Customer service only offered 50% of total price paid or credit for another pair. Why would I order again when the lenses were wrong and prescription was not done properly the first time. Will not recommend this website to anyone. Buyer be aware before ordering glasses from this website. Quality and service were horrible!!! I am post this warning on social media websites. Do not order glasses on Zenni.com. Customer satisfaction is not guaranteed.

I've never had an issue with them until I recently purchased a pair of "sunglasses" with a horrible pink tint. On the website they look like gold aviators which is what I wanted and selected a 10% pink tint. That's ALL the lenses were. These glasses looked like they belong to a 12 year old girl who loves pink. There was no gold at all, just pink. And absolutely zero protection from the sun or helped with the brightness at all. So I called customer support to get a refund for return. Little did I know they only give you HALF of your money back... Of a one time 100% credit to use on other glasses, which you can't even use for a month. That is total bs and after I get a new pair of glasses since they're robbing me of my money, I will never be back.
