What is Levity?

Levity has provided weight loss programs that include prescription medication since 2023. The company’s mission is to provide clinically proven medications with ongoing lifestyle support to help members achieve their long-term weight loss goals.

Its US-based team of licensed medical providers and registered dieticians are available for consultations or follow-up support Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST. Monthly subscription costs include shipping, prescription medicine and clinician support.

How does Levity work?

You get started with Levity by completing a health questionnaire online. Be prepared to answer questions about your height and weight (to calculate your BMI for medication eligibility), your weight loss goals and your medical history. You’ll also need to upload a full-body photo ahead of the consultation.

After submitting the intake form, you’ll meet with one of Levity’s providers to discuss your health history and weight loss goals. If you’re eligible for medication, your provider can prescribe either Ozempic, Wegovy, compounded semaglutide or Mounjaro, which are shipped to your door every four weeks with a monthly subscription.

Your provider and care team will also track your progress and can meet with you monthly to go over the results. You can cancel your subscription anytime. However, Levity does not offer refunds for previously incurred monthly membership fees.

Levity weight loss medications

Levity offers brand-name GLP-1 medications like Wegovy and Ozempic, which are used to treat Type 2 diabetes and obesity. It also offers compounded semaglutide, which uses the same active ingredient as Wegovy and Ozempic. However, keep in mind that compounded medications are not FDA-approved and have not been evaluated for safety and effectiveness like brand-name drugs.

In addition to semaglutide alternatives, Levity also offers Mounjaro, which uses tirzepatide as an active ingredient. It’s similar to Wegovy and Ozempic because it’s a once-weekly injectable and is considered a GLP-1 medication. However, Mounjaro is also in a class of drugs called GIP (glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide), which means it can improve insulin sensitivity in addition to lowering blood sugar with a GLP-1 medication.

Levity cost

Levity currently offers a $50 discount on your first month’s subscription. Costs for brand-name medications range from $1,149 to $1,599 with discounts included. Compounded semaglutide has much lower costs – ranging between $175 and $225.

Is Levity legit?

Levity is a legitimate US-based telehealth company. While the Levity brand was recently launched in 2023, its sister brand, ZipHealth (an online pharmacy), has been in business since 2019. Levity is also LegitScript-certified, which means it’s monitored by a reputable third party to ensure compliance and adherence to health care regulations like HIPPA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).
