Steve and his wife did the free hearing test and they were friendly and godly people. I thought I was making the right choice with who Miracle-Ear has chosen for their employees. I was really comfortable and knew I was dealing with honest people. A couple of years ago, my son was playing in Carnegie Hall and when I talked to Steve, he let me try these new hearing aids. It had a music mode so when I was in Carnegie Hall, I could hear the music playing so clearly. It was awesome. Those are the hearing aids that I have today too.
Miracle-Ear has been great with me. Their follow-up service has been really good too. Although Steve is spread thin between Miles City, Billings, and Bozeman, he does a great job. I’m really happy with him. The hearing aids are expensive but worth it. My initial ones were $6,000 and my insurance covered 3,000 of it. And every year, they offer to exchange the hearing aids. My hearing loss was severe. I work in the medical field and my Miracle-Ear let me hear my patients better. When I listen to them with my stethoscope, I can hear breath sounds better. Plus, when I first got my hearing aids, I wrote two of my kids out of my will because I could hear what they were saying. I’d recommend Miracle-Ear.

I caught a cold some time back and overnight, I lost 40% of my hearing. With age, my hearing has gone downhill and within two months I had a hearing test at my local hospital. Somebody there recommended Miracle-Ear because of the young man who is in charge of the local office: Vincent. I tried them and I've had nothing but good experiences with that guy. Though their hearing aids are outrageously expensive, I will be staying with Miracle Ear.
Thus far, I'm very happy with the hearing aids that I got. I have the model that has a transparent little tube that goes in my ear and a battery package that goes behind my ear. I wear very short hair and most people don't know that I'm wearing a hearing aid. Also, I couldn't stand the feeling of the kind of hearing aid that sits the entire unit in my ear. I felt like I was boxed in when both hearing aids were in my ears. With Miracle-Ear's hearing aids, it doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything. I also like that I could have them tuned. One is tuned to my husband's voice which is very soft. The second is tuned to music because I perform and I need that. The third is tuned to the television.
I've had my hearing aids for a while and it has been my third pair over a 20-year span. I hope I won't have to change them for a while as insurance doesn't cover them. Even so, Vincent has been wonderful. He takes excellent care of my hearing aids and he's available whenever I need him. I recommend him and the Miracle-Ear in Oneonta to anybody who needs hearing aids.

Larry's hearing loss was quite profound. He had made an appointment with Zounds and we went to Arizona. We're from North Dakota and when we checked into it, they aren't anywhere else. So I told them that it would be smarter to go with someone that we could use in both places. Larry bought the over-the-ear hearing aids from Miracle-Ear. They are expensive, but they're working. He has issues with some tones though. He doesn't hear high sounds and sometimes, my voice seems to be the worst. Overall, the people at Miracle-Ear as been pretty good and we're really happy with them.

I got hearing aids from Miracle-Ear as they were close to my house. Ever since, my life has been a lot better. I got a behind-the-ear unit as it's easier and its overall functionality and performance have been great. Their customer service has been very professional about what they're doing and they've been cleaning my unit really well. I recommend Miracle-Ear.

I have been going to Miracle-Ear for the last three years. Before contacting them, I knew I needed some help with the way I was missing things. And on TV, when people talk, it sounded like gobbling. The Miracle-Ear reps are very informative and helpful. If you need them for anything beyond your visit, they'll be there for you. So far, my pair of hearing aids is doing well. It's behind my ear and then it goes into the canal of the ear. They run on batteries. And I keep the appointments when they get cleaned, turn up the volume, or when they put on new parts that I might need. In closing, I'm 91 years old and my Miracle Ear hearing aids make things easier when I sit with my family. I'm understanding what they're saying and I do not have to be sure to keep facing them. We recommended friends to Miracle Ear and they're pleased as well.

I have a partial hearing loss, and it was convenient to go with Miracle-Ear as it was beside my gym. The over-the-ear hearing aid I got is great. Aside from the fact that I like that it was rechargeable, going with that model had to do with money, too. The Miracle-Ear sales and customer service teams were also exceptional. If I have any questions or any issues, I just stop by and they take care of it. They're never too busy, and never too involved. I'm really enjoying it and I'm glad I did it. Since I got the hearing aids, I haven't heard anybody telling me I need hearing aids. I'd recommend Miracle-Ear to anybody.

I noticed that I had to have the TV turned up higher than the other people in the room did and that when I wasn’t facing someone, I couldn’t catch all the words they said. Our son-in-law had gone to Miracle-Ear and he told me about it so I went and got the model that would be the easiest to handle at my age. I didn't wanna worry about changing batteries and everything like that. It was great with their reps. I go back every so often and they check everything, my hearing aid, and if they put new pads on. I’ve been very happy with them. I usually make an appointment from one time to the next and if something comes up that I can’t make it, I just call and they’re very nice about changing it for me. I know I paid more than ordinary hearing aid, but I’m happy with it. Now, I don’t turn the TV up high and when we’re sitting around the dinner table, I can hear everybody’s conversation. I would recommend Miracle-Ear highly.

I had problems hearing my granddaughter and female voices, and since having my Miracle-Ear hearing aids, I hear a lot better now than I did before. I wanted the ones that fit in my ear, but what I have are the ones they recommended, and they seem to be working fine. Like everything else, my hearing aids are too expensive, but it's okay. Working with Miracle-Ear helped. Their office is close to mine and I've had an excellent experience with their team. They're easy to talk to. If I have an issue, they get it taken care of. It's good service. I've talked to them about having trouble sometimes if I'm in a room with lots of people in it. I hear things more so than what I should be handling. I hear things all around. It's kinda distracting sometimes and there are things that I wish I wouldn’t hear more than what I need to hear. So, that's frustrating, but they're working on trying to get that fixed for me.

I was having trouble with conversations at dinner. I eat in a dining room with a lot of other people every day. I live in a retirement area so I was having trouble hearing people, and hearing things generally. I went with Miracle-Ear because of its long history. I got the one that sits on top of my ear and it's absolutely comfortable. It works fine and I have occasional adjustments. Also, my experience with their reps was wonderful. I had two people to deal with, the receptionist and the technician. The tech always listens to what I have to say and then tries very hard to make the hearing aid better for me. I can hear better now. Miracle-Ear has been marvelous and I've been pleased with everything.

My hearing loss has gotten very bad and I have problems with certain sounds. I would have to be asking people what they said. Now, I'm 85 years old and it's worse. Prior to trying Miracle-Ear, I had hearing aids made by other brands and I didn't replace them for many years because they were so expensive. Miracle-Ear's hearing aids aren't cheaper but they're very good. The lady who works for the company in Tacoma told me that the battery for the model that goes behind the ear lasts longer so I went with those. Since then, the hearing aids have been working pretty well and I'm glad I have them. Though the lady I bought them from is longer at the Tacoma location, there is a gentleman there now who is very good as well. The folks there have been very friendly and helpful.

I've had Miracle-Ear hearing aids for a few years now and they work very well. The service is very good. The personnel is very helpful. They fit you with the hearing aid and they show you how to use the batteries. In addition, there's this nice young man who is very caring. I see him so often because I go and get the batteries. In fact, I don't need an appointment if I'm just gonna pick up the batteries. But it's easy to get an appointment if I need one. Since having the in-the-ear hearing aids, I'm able to hear what people are saying and it's great. Sometimes I have to ask people to repeat what they're saying, but when I have the hearing aid on, the voice is quite clear and I don't have any problem.

I suffered partial hearing loss in my mid-30s due to loud noises. I've had other hearing aid brands, but I've been using Miracle-Ear for a number of years since they're close to me and my contact with them has been very good from the first day. The reps have been very good and they couldn’t be better. I’m very happy with them from my experiences. My wife and I have bought hearing aids from them and it's fantastic how my hearing has changed since I've been using Miracle-Ear. Sometimes, I can even hear better than most people.

I teach Sunday school class and before, I couldn't hear my students when they asked questions. So, I got hearing aids. The first time, I just went to a hearing aid place and I didn’t have any choice. Then I picked Miracle-Ear because my wife told me that there was an ad in the paper that says if you buy one, you get one for free. Their salesman, Shawn, was a good rep. He was friendly enough and I liked his openness. He was also willing to put up with an old man like me. I got the stainless steel hearing aids to go around the ears and I like them because they’re small enough. They’re not so gaudy that people see them or know that I have them and my glasses cover them up. Plus, I don’t have to blow them out like what I did with the other ones.
A week after I got the new ones, I went back to Miracle-Ear and Shawn fixed the aids a little bit, so I could hear a little bit clearer. And this last week, it was really good because I sat in a group with people and I heard everybody talking. The only problem is when I'm talking on the phone, I have to use a speaker because I have a hard time hearing when I'm on it. But I’m enjoying the hearing aids a lot and their cost is fine. Other hearing aids are cheaper but the quality of the Miracle-Ear product has been good. I would also tell others to go for Miracle-Ear because they can get good service.

The hearing loss came slowly. I went to Miracle-Ear, had a test, and they confirmed it. I can still hear, but I hear so much better with the hearing aids. I went ahead and got them and I use them. The hearing aid I got is behind-the-ear and fits inside my ear. Also, it has the batteries in it that I charge externally. But their pricing is a little overrated for what they are. Then, I had a lot of problems with the sound around. When I’m on the phone, I have to take the left one out and plug my ear because I can’t hear it and there’s a lot of noise. I got a train that’s across from my shop and it’s really hard to do anything when that thing goes by. It’s too loud. So, when I get an opportunity, I shut them off. Also, when there are big crowds and there’s a rumble in a building, it’s better to shut them off and not listen to anything. But it helps a little.

I have minor hearing loss, mainly in the higher frequencies. Miracle-Ear was at the Health Fair I went to and they gave me an exam. They made a good presentation and I chose the in and over the ear style of hearing aid. We’ve been going to Debbie in Surprise, Arizona for close to 10 years now. We really enjoy going there. Debbie is friendly, very efficient, and keeps good records. She's been super and she knows us. The cost of the hearing aids might be a little bit high and I'm already on my second pair, but they’ve both been really good. They’ve made it a lot easier when I go out to eat with people and hear them in the restaurants, when I go to church, in the car, and other places. My Miracle-Ear hearing aids have helped me.

Sometimes, you get what you pay for. My brother-in-law got a pair of hearing aids at a regular doctor and his were like $500 cheaper than mine. But when we went on a cruise and the windows were on, he had to take his hearing aids out because they whistled. Mine don't. I got them from Miracle-Ear and they're great. They go over the ear then there's a little, almost unseeable tube that goes into my ear. I have about half hearing loss and Miracle-Ear gives a free hearing exam. They're close too, and the customer service is great. When I have a problem, they get me right in. They also answer my questions over the phone.

My hearing loss wasn’t too bad when I first contacted Miracle-Ear. I had a Widex in one ear before I went to them but that was more trouble getting to and very inconvenient times to go if I wanted to go there. I started thinking I needed another one and didn’t wanna get one there. I’m just beginning to need one in my second ear. I’ve had a couple and my hearing loss is worse now. I consider myself practically deaf, but I’m okay with the hearing aids. They're doing a good job.
My Miracle-Ear has a curve in it. It’s supposed to be going into the mold that they take at the ear, which has a curve. It feels like it fits in there okay, but it’s slipping out. It has been done twice and the price was enormous. Eventually, they made them smaller. It fit in my ears but then kept slipping out. I’m constantly poking at it and it's whistling at me. The best way to fix it was to take ‘em out and replace ‘em, but I couldn't do that every 20 minutes in church where people are sitting in the pews. I went back to see Miracle-Ear after I had it for about a month and they said they were gonna have to remake them.
I told Miracle-Ear to go back to the original plan. It’s supposed to be new technology but I didn’t get anything special out of it. I could hear better with the reverberations at church, I can hear better this way and that way, but none of that has happened. Also, it whistles when I put something up to my ear, which it wasn't supposed to do anymore. I assumed it didn't get settled in my ear right because I was having so much trouble keeping it in the right place.
Miracle-Ear also moved their office. When I first went, it was so convenient for me, but now, I have to get my son to drive me. I’m in my 80s and don’t like to drive too far anymore. The reps have changed over since I started going there, but they have all been very good, helpful, and pleasant to deal with. Overall though, I'm upset with the company.

The worst part about hearing loss is the clarity and interpreting certain things that people say. My interpretation at times is not very good, and my clarity just isn't there and this has been coming on gradually for a good number of years. Miracle-Ear is doing everything that can be done because we’ve talked about it on more than one occasion. They're doing a good job and the quality of the hearing aids is fine. I am very satisfied.

I’m retired now and I didn’t notice the partial hearing loss right away. It started with my grandchildren. They’re so young that their pitch is so high that I couldn’t pick up those words. I learned that from going to Miracle-Ear. But then, even when my wife would talk to me from one room to the next room, I would always be asking her to repeat it. It still happens but not very much. That was also one of the things taught by Miracle-Ear. Sometimes, I give myself time to process it when somebody says something and then I can hear what word it is.
I started with the in-the-ear hearing aids but they explained that I would have better hearing with this behind-the-ear type. And I do hear better. It pretty much impacted all in my life too. I found it embarrassing to be out in public or at a restaurant where I couldn’t hear the waitress or the waiter and having to ask my wife to tell me what they said. Not having to do that anymore is helpful. I can go to a place or a concert and be able to hear. I can sit at night and watch the television and be able to hear everything on the TV without turning it up.
I’m in my fifth year with the set I have on now and I’m really happy with them. The cost is expensive but it’s worth it. Miracle-Ear also has a lot of different technicians to work with. I started going to the one in Cranston and I found out the one right here in North Providence. It’s close. Every person I’ve had had been really good. They helped me out. And when I call, they call me back. When I go in, Chris really checks the hearings aids and cleans them. If I have questions, he answers them and he's very patient in doing that. If I have a problem, they would work it out where they would see me within a week. The lady at the desk, Michaela, has been really good too. I had some problems with the insurance on hearing aids. For some reason, it hadn’t been renewed. But I called up. She had me come down and we did it right away. So I’ve been really happy with the service and I would recommend them.

I got hearing aids from Miracle-Ear. They were close and handy and I could drop off anytime to visit them. Mine go behind the ear and though I don’t like to wear them, the equipment's overall quality is good and they work alright. However, it's hard to hear certain types of voices. Also, when I wear them outside, the biggest disadvantage is that I get a lot of noise. I told Miracle-Ear about that but there’s not a lot that they can do about it.
Nevertheless, they are friendly and are doing a good job as far as their service. Every so often, I have to go in and they clean the hearing aids. They also check them and make sure that they’re set right for our hearing disability. If I have a problem, they work with me to get it worked out. One time, I had a problem with the earbuds itching my ears, so they ended up giving me an anti-itch. They used a Q-tip to put that in the ear. Afterward, they put the earbud back in, and it stopped the itching. Overall, I'd tell people to go to Miracle-Ear.

I’m pissed off at Miracle-Ear. I’d paid for an insurance to have the hearing aids fixed. I had the receiver that goes along with the one that goes in your ear rebuilt in January and they overcooked it. They crystallized it and it broke last week. Now, they won’t fix it because they said the insurance won’t pay for it. I gotta pay 75 bucks. The receiver goes with the hearing aid. Without it, the other one is no good. Miracle-Ear's customer service stinks. They treated me well and all of a sudden, I’m a piece of **. All they want is my money now. Miracle-Ear's cost wasn't bad at $5000 though. I could control its volume and the tech set the volume the way I wanted it. Conversely, with other hearing aids, the techs would set the volume for me but I could not control it. Still, I'd tell friends that Miracle-Ear doesn't back up their word.

I really like them the best. It’s far and above the quality of the other hearing aids. I couldn't use a battery.
The hearing aids allow me to be in a group and still follow conversation. Whereas before, I had to be looking at someone who was talking all of the time. I’ve had three different technicians that I’ve worked with, and I’ve never had a bad experience with any of them. Bryan is who I work with now. After a hearing exam at Miracle-Ear, I was told that the cheapest set after a discount and insurance would be $3600.00. They stated my insurance only paid $750.00 per ear. I complained to my insurance company and told them their reimbursement was substandard. They again told me that the hearing aids were covered in full and that they had contacted Miracle-Ear regarding the matter and Michele would review the situation and what I was told with their "insurance people". Many years ago when I first realized I had a hearing loss, I had gotten something in the mail from Miracle-Ear for a free evaluation, so I went in. It was a good experience and I stuck with them. With these hearing aids, I can hear better. I had the button-type and then because I have arthritis of my fingers, I decided that it would be better for me to have the kind of hearing aids that I didn't have to change the battery. So, I got the rechargeable batteries and the over-the-ear with the little tubings. They've worked very well for me.
I had been in rehab for about two months and the hearing aids got a little wax plugged up, so I wasn't hearing through the hearing aids properly. I had an appointment already with Miracle-Ear, but I called and made it earlier, and that was accommodated. I got in and they put new tubings on. Then they did some work on the hearing aids and there was a big difference when I got them back in.
The quality of the Miracle-Ear hearing aids has been quite good, and I get the help that I need if the quality goes down. Whenever I've called customer service for help or an appointment, I get one. And they've come through for me. I see the people at Miracle-Ear twice a year routinely for checking to see if the hearing is doing as well as it should be. There's no extra cost to going in and having my hearing aids checked, so I'm very satisfied. I would recommend Miracle-Ear since I feel like they're there for me.

My husband's partial hearing loss was bad and Miracle-Ear was recommended to him. He looked at a few options and went with the behind the ear style because he wanted it to be unnoticeable. It was a one down from their top of the line hearing aids. He did some research before and felt that it was a fair price for the value of hearing aids that he got.
The guys at our local Miracle-Ear are awesome. They’re professional and polite. They notify us when it’s time for him to come in and have him checked. Then when we had to go there one time, it was very icy so I made my way into the building and told them that my husband wasn’t gonna come in because of mobility issues and I was afraid he would fall on the ice. So the reps came to the car, took my husband's hearing aids back in, and checked them. The rep did what he needed to do and brought them back out. You can’t beat that kind of customer service.
Miracle-Ear is an excellent product. Since my husband has gotten hearing aids, his life has been better. I don't have to repeat myself so often and he can enjoy watching television a bit more without the sound blaring, and me nagging at him to turn that down. The people in our particular Miracle-Ear store are incredible and honest, and we highly recommend them to anybody.

Eleanor has 85% hearing loss on one ear and 90% on the other. Somebody told her about Miracle-Ear and she went and got behind the ear hearing aids because those were the only ones that would work for her. The professionalism of the staff was fine and the cost is fair. There was a time one hearing aid kept sliding out. They couldn't get the piece that goes in the left ear to fit correctly. It was a while every time we've tried to get them fixed, there was something wrong with the wiring or something on it. They sent it back a couple of places and tried to get it fixed. It didn't work right at least two times and we had to wait a week and a little over a week another time. But we got it back in. She has had the hearing aids for two years and finally, they got it to where it's fitting pretty good and the hearing aid seems to be working okay now.

I have a partial hearing loss. Eventually, I got a Miracle-Ear hearing aid that is in the canal of the ear and it works very well on me. I have it in both ears and it turns up the volume of all sounds. It’s very good. I wear it when I go to church so I can hear the sermons. I go to plays and I could hear every word the actors speak. This product has enhanced my social activities. I choose Miracle-Ear over other companies because it was very convenient. Their representatives were courteous, professional and they could back up statements that they made about the product. I’ve had good experience with Miracle-Ear and I would recommend it.

I had moderate hearing loss in both ears. My mom had hearing aids and I didn’t like the one she had so I wanted to try a different brand. When I went in for my evaluation, I told Miracle-Ear the things that I didn’t like on my mom’s hearing aid that I didn’t wanna have to put up with like feedback when they’re turned up and they whistled all the time. The ones I have now are what Miracle-Ear suggested - behind the ear with a tiny wire and a little soft tip that goes into the ear, but rechargeable batteries.
Every time I went in, I called for an appointment and the staff saw me quickly and got me on my way without much delay. They always took care of the problems that I experienced and it was always very pleasant. The hearing aids are very expensive but they're much better than what mom had and hers were just as expensive. I can hear much better with them and I can understand the spoken word better. Also, I can hear the television much better. I don’t have to put it as loud to understand the dialogue. Also, I haven’t found them loud or bothersome when I’ve been in restaurants or places that are more noisy. I like having the app on my phone that I can turn them up or down when I am in noisy places. It’s very convenient.

I was getting a hard time hearing and I didn’t wanna give up. I looked in the phone book and I’ve seen a Miracle-Ear ad. I’ve heard Miracle-Ear is good so my daughter and I went to their store. When their rep said the price, I said, “Oh, there’s no way because I’m on a fixed income. I can’t do that.” My daughter said, “You’re going to do it.” And so, she paid for my hearing aids. But then, I've seen Miracle-Ear ads in the paper and they were $899 and mine was $6,000. I said to my ear man, “Why are these ads so cheap and mine was so expensive?” He said, “You get what you pay for.” I thought that was a horrible price to pay but my daughter said, “You’re gonna get the best.” So, I got them.
I chose the black color that goes in my ear with a little wire that goes on the top of your ear and over to the back because I wear glasses with black rims and it covers up. You can’t even tell that I have hearing aids on. I’m very satisfied with its functionality and performance. However, we only get batteries for three years and I don’t think that’s right at $6,000. There are cheaper hearing aids and yet they give batteries for a lifetime. I suggest for Miracle-Ear to give batteries longer when you pay $6,000 for an ear thing. Nevertheless, their reps were really nice to me. One of them gets on the computer and tunes me in and the girl in the front office is nice too. Sometimes I need batteries and I’ll just call and she’ll say, “We’ll send them.” And they just send them in the mail because I’m 90 years old and I can’t go over there all the time.
Miracle-Ear hearing aids has definitely impacted my life. I couldn’t really carry on a conversation with someone because I couldn’t hear what they were saying. I hear the noises and I hear they’re talking but if I’m in a room, I can’t decipher their conversation with me. I have to listen really close to understand even though I have the hearing aid. That’s why I need to go and have their rep tune them in. So far, three of my friends have gone over and gotten hearing aids from Miracle-Ear too. I’ve been satisfied with Miracle-Ear.

My left ear is okay but my right ear is bad. I’ve heard so much good about Miracle-Ear so I went with them and I had an excellent interaction with their reps. They're all great down there in Bangor, Maine. I got their over the ear type of hearing aid. It held enough engines, as the rep called it, to get my right ear to hear. I'm hearing fine when I wear them. If I go out, I wear it, but I do not wear it in loud groups. I’m claustrophobic so I feel like I'm being put me in a box and somebody's holding me down with the lids. I wish I could give them back, cancel my bill and be done with it because they’re so expensive and I don’t wear them enough to be paying what I’m paying. Nonetheless, they are beautiful. They're very, very, very expensive but for what I got, it's good because I can actually hear out of my right ear, and I had no hearing in it at all.

But when we got to Miracle-Ear, it was like we went to a different planet. We loved the people at the place in Zephyrhills, Florida. They were wonderful, kind and didn’t push stuff on us. I never felt compelled by anybody or anything to take theirs. Their rep showed stuff and talked to me. He also did some explanations and showed some products.
Together with my husband, we reached an agreement on what would be better for me. I ended up with a hearing aid style that goes in the ear cause I didn't want anybody else to know that I had a hearing aid. So far, it's absolutely superior and right in line. It was what we expected. Since wearing it, my husband doesn't yell all the time and I don't have to ask people to repeat what they were saying. The Miracle-Ear hearing aid was a game changer for me and I loved it. I have recommended it to two of my friends and they have gone to the same place and signed up with the same team. I got the one that goes behind the ear and the cost was okay as long as it was effective.
One time, my right hearing aid wasn't working, so I bought it down to Miracle Aid in Pittsburgh. Their technician thought he might be able to fix it but he couldn't so he sent it to the lab. Two weeks later, I went down to get it but it still wasn't working. The other technician who was there said it had to be charged for six hours but it still wasn't working after I charged it all day and night. So I called Phyllis, the receptionist, and she said I could bring it in, which I did after my meeting at work. Bob, the technician who I trust implicitly, looked at it and knew exactly what the problem was. He checked it with my other hearing aid and did something with the wire. Then I left with two working hearing aids.
I was very pleased with the people at the Miracle-Ear office on Mcknight Road in Pittsburgh and my experience with them was very gratifying. Phyllis was wonderful, always friendly on the phone, and very accommodating. Bob was very thorough and knowledgeable as well. And despite being upset that it took so long for their thing to come back, I would still tell everyone to see the Miracle-Ear people on McKnight Road.

Everybody said I had trouble hearing but I didn't think I did. There were a lot of "What?", however, particularly with children's voices. I work in a noisy environment here and there is a program that helps knock out some of the noise. That radically improves that all, with a lot less "What?" but sometimes I'd be with a group of people and I'd feel left out because I couldn't ever focus on one person. It was hard. Then my wife saw an ad for Miracle-Ear. She knew I had an issue and they had one of the freebies to get on or a $25 off at Walmart. She wanted the $25 and I needed a hearing test, so she made the arrangements and hauled me over there.
I got the behind the ear with the little mushroom thing that goes into my ear. The man that fitted me with them said that that type had the most tunable channels. He felt that would be the one I'd be the happiest with and I really have been. I trusted him and took his recommendation. The Miracle-Ear team has been great and I've stopped in twice now. I needed a 'retainer crayon' that broke, which has been the frequent issue, and they've always given me spares and fixed me up at the moment. I never had to wait. They've also given me plenty of parts and taught me how I could replace some of them because I have to drive for 60 miles to Plattsburgh to get to them and it really is convenient having the spare parts that I might need.
The Miracle-Ear hearing aid enables me to really focus on one person and hear what is going on. After getting them, it was a new world and I could tell a big difference. My hearing aid makes me feel more of a part of the crowd so I can hear better again. They said it could take up to a year to get used to rehearing again, but six or eight months down the line, I was asking about an annoying sound and my wife said it was the clock ticking. And I haven't heard a clock tick in years. When I go walking out in the woods, all of a sudden I start to hear the rustle of the trees and I haven't heard leaves in a long time. So the hearing aid opens me up and with it, I relearn to hear things that I had long forgotten.
The Miracle-Ear team has been really nice. I have talked to a couple other people that have gone elsewhere and they do not get the service and the satisfaction that I do. The Miracle-Ear people have been right there for me. When I wanted my hearing aid tuned a bit better to hear children, which was probably wasn't part of my prescription, they worked with me with that and were very patient. The service is really outstanding compared to what I hear other people are getting from other companies.
Miracle-Ear is really my place of choice. Also, if I'm on vacation and out of town and I have a problem, I can stop by any Miracle-Ear outlet, they pull up my prescription on me, and fix the hearing aid right there. I don't have to get home and that has happened one time when I needed more wax guard. I stopped in and they didn't even look at my card. They just gave me what I needed and they were pleasant.
The Miracle-Ear hearing aids are expensive but I would buy them again. The quality has been good and they're clean, nice, and solid. They work well and they've been reliable. I've even abused them because I'm getting in too much water and that is never a problem. The Miracle-Ear team guaranteed that if I ever screw them up, they'd fix them for me. So, I would go back to them for the next pair. I see a lot of cheaper ones on the market now but I don't think I would even look at those.

My biggest hearing problem is hearing deep voices and especially through the telephone. Even in a conversation, it's better when they're sitting in front of me and I also have a tough time in groups. I went to a couple of hearing aid companies and they only had a one year deal. I thought with technologies too, it shouldn't be that big of a deal to extend it over a year. It was the biggest one that made me go with Miracle-Ear and got their behind-the-ear hearing aid. Their reps were very helpful and I had a great interaction with them.
In terms of the cost in relation to the quality of my hearing aid, I'm not satisfied with that. But in the market, they're all expensive. In my case, the hearing aid didn't materially change what I was hearing, but it made it better. With technology that is coming down in price, it is still expensive for what I got. I have an option where I can change the setting if I'm in a noisy situation, and it did all that. But there were changes, and life happens too fast. If I'm watching television and have to go to the kitchen and talk to my wife, I can't be just flipping the setting all that quick so I just set it on a general setting and don't use those options.
Other than that, the people locally have always been good and I've always had good service. When I had to take the hearing aids in there the other day and they have to send both of them back to the manufacturer, the lady named Laura called me right away. She told me she worked on it and wasn't satisfied with the repair she made and said she was gonna send it back. I'd still recommend people to Miracle-Ear but I would tell them that they have to be really careful when they choose because almost every little bell and whistle that they get throw them up in a different price category. Since I first went to an Ear, Nose, and Throat guy that does hearing as well as hearing aids, I went back to them and the hearing aid they put in was one that is placed and pushed in the ear. I told them it wasn't working and it hurt my ear but there was nothing they could do because that’s the way my ear channel was made. Also, I would have to send it back to the company if there was something wrong.
My mother had used Miracle-Ear and so I went to one of their locations. I got a single hearing aid and then recently, I got a pair of hearing aids for both ears. The first ear was bad enough and it caused the other ear to start to lose hearing too. I got the ones that go around the ear with the thing in and I wear them in both ears now. I have no problems as far as repair, replacement, or customer service.
Miracle-Ear has locations all over the country and I have never walked into any Miracle-Ear place that the people haven't taken care of me. They were nice people who treated me decently. I’ve gone in to three different places where I had a new chip put in that goes into the ear or I had the hearing aids cleaned. The people took off the whole end of the hearing aids because it got wax down in and around the cylinder, and then they put in a new one. It was taken care of at no cost. Also, when I lost the pocket adjuster, I was able to replace it for 125 with the insurance. So, I have been very satisfied with them.
I have also told others about Miracle-Ear. My sister had three different hearing aids from three different people and nothing worked for her. I got her into Miracle-Ear and she got one for each ear which is battery-operated and that is charged overnight in a case. When she died, I inherited her pair of Miracle-Ear. It is one for each ear and it is battery-operated that is charged overnight in a case. All in all, the Miracle-Ear hearing aids work well.

I have a slight hearing loss. My wife already had an experience with Miracle-Ear so I tried them too and got the behind-the-ear type. It was convenient. Their reps are very good, friendly and informative. They take good care of me and go beyond what they need to do. They did with my wife too before she passed away so I'm well satisfied with them. I noticed that my range of frequency is better. The higher notes, which as I understand and knew before, rolls off as you get older in the upper coverage.
I don't wear the hearing aid all the time. In fact, I don't even have them on now. But when I put them on, I notice things like a bird chirping outside or a clicking noise that might be going on. It's very good. I have tinnitus and Miracle-Ear also helps a bit with that. We go over my coverage every three months when I go in there, just as a check-up or how-it-goes type of thing, and I am happy with Miracle-Ear's coverage. I enjoy music, particularly classical music and big bands, and it makes my appreciation a lot better.

My hearing aid works well for me and I can hear people when I'm wearing it. It’s quite expensive though. In crowds, it’s not very good, but it works well in one-on-one situations. I go to the Miracle-Ear store quite often because I let the people there check my hearing aid out. The hearing aid specialist has been very helpful and she has been very good in trying to address my problems. The reps have been very helpful as well and they've answered all of my questions. My right ear has about 30% to 50% loss. I saw the Miracle-Ear advertisement on TV and I applied for it. I went up, talked to the guy and he did the test. I got the one that goes behind the ear. However, I ever got any use out of it. It didn't improve my hearing at all. I did see a difference for a while, but then it went away. The hearing aid quit working. However, I just took it all out, put it at the case and set it up on the dresser. I have two to three months to call them to complain. And so, I called and made an appointment to go get it fixed or get another one since they ain't cheap. When something doesn't work, you get it fixed or you see about it. And it's been my negligence that I hadn't done anything about it. Nevertheless, their reps were good people and I've already recommended Miracle-Ear to some people.

Miracle-Ear was close to me and I had seen an advertisement, and their screening was free. My hearing aid is the one where the receiver is on the back of my ear and then there’s a little thing that goes into the ear. The doctor and I talked about several kinds and he said this was a good one. I can still hear without them, but I hear better with them. Now I can lower the TV volume so that it’s not blaring all over the house. It's great and I like it.
I paid a lot for these hearing aids and I got a discount ‘cause they were on sale at that time. Also, I get unlimited service. I can go in at Miracle-Ear any time, and they check them over and clean them. Plus I go in for regular checkups several times a year. So far, it’s been a great experience working with these people, and I trust the doctor and the staff that I work with. One time he was ill and he had someone take his place and I really liked her too.

I visited quite often because my dad kept losing the hearing aid and when we found it, we had to go so they could repair it again. When he didn't have the hearing aid, we could hear his television all the away outside when we were on the patio because it was super loud. I’ve been happy with my experience with Miracle-Ear. The hearing aids that I got from them are the simplest kind. They're inserted in my ear and hooked behind my ear. However, they're expensive. I also wish that I could hear better in a crowd. I used to do really well when people would speak softly. But now, whenever they speak fast and soft, I can’t catch any of it. But my hearing was really fuzzy and the hearing aids cleared that up somewhat. There’s definitely a difference when I wear them. Yesterday, I forgot to put the hearing aids in. I had to do some stuff and there was a girl and I could not tell what she was saying. I should not have forgotten to put them in. Anything I need, Miracle-Ear sets me up, which is great. There was this person I bowled with and he raved about Miracle-Ear so I tried them. I first tried getting the hearing aid for my ear that just started to go bad, and after that, I also decided to try the one for my left ear. Miracle-Ear suggested the one with the microphone behind the ear and it's a very thin tube you can hardly see and then it goes into my ear. The part that goes into my ear is much bigger because my hearing is very adamant in my left ear. The rep who helped me explained everything and she was wonderful.
I can hear more since I got the hearing aids. But when I'm in a crowd, it's hard to understand the person who's talking to me with all the background noises. I already had three different set of hearing aids before I went to Miracle-Ear. I got from them the kind that goes behind the ear and the little cable comes down that sticks in the ear. One is red and one is blue. I got the kind that doesn't have to have batteries that you just charge up at home. So far, I'm 100% sold on Miracle-Ear's functionality and performance. It's good so far. In the individual settings where I'm not in a crowd of people, the Miracle-Ear hearing aid is perfect. But when I get around a crowd of people, I have to focus more on what they're saying so I can hear what they're saying.
Several years ago, I went to Miracle-Ear when I lived in Kansas City, and I did a free exam there too, but the hearing aid they gave me spent more time in the shop than it did in my ear, so I just told them to keep it. I had difficulties to hear clearly. It sounded like people were mumbling or they are talking too fast. I had to second-guess what they say. Miracle-Ear is very close to where I live and the customer service is incredible. I chose the top hearing aids at that time, three years ago. Unfortunately, this spring, I lost one and got a new one. They're on the same level, but they do not make the same model I had three years ago and I'm not very pleased with that. The new one is compatible to the one I had. There are many features, many I do not need, but since they have to work together I had to go with the high-end model. The new one doesn't satisfy me. For example, the old one always made noise when I close the battery compartment so I knew it's working. The new one doesn't make any sound. When the battery is getting too low on the new one, it only makes a one time sound, and that's it.
But most of all, what I miss very much and I think is a very big disadvantage was when I had both of my old hearing aids, whenever I was in a loud setting like for example in an airplane or a restaurant, I could reduce the surrounding noise. The new one isn't doing that anymore. I could manually do it, but then I have to fumble around with two hearing aids. Miracle-Ear should look into that and bring that back. That was one feature the person who sold me the hearing aids, pointed out, "This is really very convenient." And it was convenient for me. I had trouble with both ears and had trouble following conversations. I could not understand my grandchildren in the car, although they were fairly close. I couldn't make heads or tails. I had used a company that supplies hearing aids for Medicare and they were good. But the problem was that they don't have a local rep. Also, I kept cutting off the little tails that were on the earpieces not realizing that that's what helped keep them in my ear, and so I lost about three hearing aids. Miracle-Ear ran an ad where there was an $895 entry-level thing. My wife and I stopped and investigated it and we found out it was for the very basic hearing aids.
I got the top of the line hearing aids from Miracle-Ear. It's behind the ear and then it has the little half-moon earpiece that goes in. Steve from Miracle-Ear was very good in telling us about the advantages and also the things that it does. He updated the hearing aids several times for personal preferences and I was pleased with him. I check with him every three months and he goes through the hearing aids. If I've had times when I've lost the little earpiece that goes in, I stopped in and it's replaced.
From time to time, I have trouble with my battery charger. And for some reason, he asked me about that every time and I told him that once in a while it doesn't seem to charge. I have to unplug it and plug it back in, so we're watching that. The next time I went in, we checked my hearing in the booth to make sure that everything was right, but it was just so automatic. I do some driving and on the number one level, it picks up everything, so Steve has got the hearing aids automatically cancel that out.
I wish the Miracle-Ear hearing aids could have been cheaper but we get the yearly insurance. With the other company that I talked to, their product was about $900 a piece. They did a lot but not to the level of Miracle-Ear. I've also heard other people talk about paying $5,000 to $7,000 for a pair of hearing aids and they never mentioned about going back for check-ups or having them adjusted. With the Miracle-Ear hearing aids, I can follow conversations at restaurants. Sometimes I have to turn it down to level two because it's so loud so I need to tone some of that out. I have recommended the local Miracle-Ear to others. Although I've not had an opportunity to visit another site, Steve told me that I could take them anywhere.

I have full hearing loss. I got a pair of behind-the-ear Miracle-Ear hearing aids. My ear canals are so tiny that I have to go with the smallest that can fit in there. I like the hearing aids very much. When we moved to Arizona, I found someone who is wonderful. I went to his store and he upgraded my hearing aids and I go back to him for cleaning and adjustments. He is also extremely knowledgeable. I like the care I get and the fact that the hearing aids are so comfortable. They are expensive but they’re worth it. Since having the hearing aids, I enjoy being around people more because I can hear them and my husband doesn’t have to repeat everything five times. I am very pleased. I have recommended Miracle-Ear to my friends and they've been very pleased also.

I've tried two different brands of hearing aids, from the ENT clinic across town. Thought I'd get the best hearing aids, and the best service. I was wrong. Upon being referred by a friend, I went to Miracle Ear. Not a fancy clinic, but a storefront next to Bravo Burritos. I thought to myself, "This has got to be a fly-by-night outfit." Again -- I was wrong.
The STAFF there are truly caring. They know what they're doing. To them, you're not just another appointment to get out the door so that the next could shuffle in. Todd & Lisa ** REALLY TAKE THE TIME to listen to your needs and interests, and REALLY care that you are satisfied, and that you have the BEST hearing solution that is humanly possible. I am a singer -- more than a hobby -- a HUGE part of my life. For the past five years or so, I've had more trouble than usual hearing pitch, which is essential in barbershop harmony, when you have to harmonize precisely with three other voices.
I tried two different brands at the ENT Clinic across town, Starkey, followed by Widex. While each presented an improvement, the quality was somewhat tinny. I figured something was better than nothing, so I resigned myself to just hearing tinny music, as long as it improved my ability to match pitch, which it did. Marginally.
But then my friend told me about Miracle-Ear, and how Miracle-Ear has a setting designed to meet the needs of not only music listeners, but music PERFORMERS. The end of my 45 day trial with my Widex aids was fast approaching, so I decided that I needed to make an appointment -- FAST. I called Miracle-Ear, and the NEXT DAY I got in for an appointment -- got fitted, and the next Tuesday at chorus rehearsal, an amazing thing happened -- I was able to match pitch --perfectly -- and the sound wasn't 'tinny'! They were -- in a word -- PERFECT.
And to underscore their commitment to their customers, at the time I was fitted I didn't have the money to pay for them yet, as I hadn't yet received my refund for my previous hearing aids. Todd ** said, "Don't worry about it -- I just want you to hear. Pay me when you get the money." A week and a half later I got the refund, and then paid them. Not a problem. And unlike the ENT clinic, there isn't a 'set' number of aftercare visits, and if there is a problem you don't have to wait two weeks to get in. Oftentimes at Miracle Ear, you can get in the next day, or even the same day, sometimes.
They will fit their schedules to fit YOURS -- if need be. And the service continues for as long as you have their hearing aids. Miracle-Ear is FAR SUPERIOR. AND less expensive. I wouldn't go ANYWHERE else. For me, there IS nowhere else to go. In full disclosure, I am not receiving any compensation for this review. I just really believe in the product and the **. They are the genuine article. You won't be sorry.

My hearing was down to 40% and nobody else thought that I could hear but when I got Miracle-Ear, my hearing was brought back about up to 70%. I have the over-the-ear hearing aids with the lithium-ion permanent battery. I have friends who change batteries every three to five days and it happened at inappropriate times. I wasn't looking forward to that so I went with the top of the line. I got my hearing aids from Miracle-Ear's Silverdale location and I enjoy the great relationship that I have with the people there. They've become personal friends and part of my life. I'm so glad I checked them out.
Over time, my hearing has improved because my brain began to reestablish new frequencies. Miracle-Ear also took an ear canal impression and I recently went to the full plug, which even increased my hearing to 85%. My rep also ordered the full arch for me because my hearing aids don't stay in my ear. I don't like them to fall out when I'm under cars and working so going with the full arch would secure them in my ears. I encourage everyone to consider getting their first hearing aid, as well as to check out Miracle-Ear. I've had a great experience with them.

I was in a Sears store and Miracle-Ear had a free hearing test so I decided to take advantage of that while I was there. I like Miracle-Ear's price and it seemed to be the best one. I got the behind-the-ear model. Since getting the hearing aids, I notice birds tweeting and I can hear the sermon better in the church. The hearing aids help in conversations. Before somebody would say something to me and I would repeat it and I would get it all wrong. Now I'm not doing that as frequently. The Miracle-Ear team has been wonderful. They check the hearing aids all the time and it's not a sales push to get a better one. I got a new one on my right ear that was outdated but there wasn't any pressure to do it and I appreciate that.

I am really hard of hearing. My Miracle-Ear hearing aids helped a little, but I wasn't really satisfied with them. When we were in a crowd like in a restaurant with a bunch of people and everybody was talking, the hearing aids didn't do a good job. Also, every three months, I went back to the store, and the guys there did a great job in trying to work with me and getting the hearing aids to fit, but I don't know if it was because my hearing loss was so severe that it wouldn't adjust to those hearing aids. There was always a noise that I hear if I was going down the road and the hearing aids could never get rid of that noise.
I was in the car going down the highway at 70 miles an hour the other day. A bug hit me in the ear and knocked my hearing aid right off my ear. There was no sense of trying to go back and finding it because it was impossible to do, so I lost one of the hearing aids. Consequently, instead of spending another $6,000 for something that I wasn't happy with, I'm simply working with another company to see if they could make it work out a little better for me. I'm very dissatisfied with the amount of money I had to pay for the hearing aids and they didn't do what I thought they should do.

I have very little hearing in the right ear, which I started losing when I was 16, and some impairment in the left ear. I had another brand of hearing aid before and Miracle-Ear was the other major hearing aid supplier in our area. I went with Miracle-Ear over the other company that I already had a hearing aid with and I got one hearing aid for the more damaged right ear. My previous representative was in Roanoke, which is 29 miles away, while the current representative is four miles away. So, I switched to my current rep, but both of them have been absolutely wonderful.
My hearing aid is over-the-ear and its speaker is in the ear. I was told that that style fits in my ear. Hearing aids that would not fit over my ear would not give me sufficient power to improve my hearing as much as I would like. With the current hearing aids that I have, I can adjust various settings on my cell phone, which helps me greatly if I’m in meetings, to make it directional so I can hear people. The only problem I have is financial since I’m on a small pension. The cost of their product is high, and Medicare does nothing to help with it. As a result, I’m still paying on the last hearing aid. But as far as the Miracle-Ear hearing aid, it’s wonderful.

I have a partial hearing loss. My hearing aid from Miracle-Ear goes behind my ear, and comes over, and then goes into my ear. It was recommended to me and it seems to be working fine. Miracle-Ear's customer service has been perfect. However, being retired, I wished they were a lot cheaper since I don't get much of a benefit or insurance payment. Other than that, the hearing aids seem to be of good quality and work well. Hopefully, I don't have to get them every couple of years.
I like that when I go to my check-ups every so many months, I don't have to pay anything. Other than buying batteries, it's not like with some other hearing aids that every time you go for an appointment, there's some kind of charge. Since having the hearing aids, I don't have to say, “What did you say?” as many times. I don't have to keep asking my wife what was said on the TV and I don't have to turn it up as loud. Also, basic conversation with family and friends is easier and I don't feel like I'm missing out. Miracle-Ear does a good job.

I’ve been wearing Miracle-Ear hearing aids for 15 years. The ones I have now are my third pair and each time I'd have hearing aids in the past, I would have the top-of-the-line ones, the ones that I wear behind the ear. I’ve never had any issues with them from my first time, but I don't know if the hearing aids I have now are of good quality. They're supposed to be top-of-the-line, but I still can't hear. Their customer service is super, and the doctor has done so many adjustments. He's wonderful and he does all he can do for me, but my ears are changing. I don't know if he can do anything else about it.
I wanted to change the hearing aids but it was too late for me. The warranty has passed the time limit. I wondered if I needed to get the kind that drops down in the ear, but it was too late when I decided that and I still have an issue with the hearing aids. I don't know if that will make me hear better. The hearing aids cost $6,000, so I'm not trying to buy anymore.
Before, I was told my hearing was too bad to have the ones that dropped in the ear, but my understanding of the new technologies is it doesn't matter what your hearing grade is. I can wear anything I choose. I wanna trade the ones I have now that model to see if that helps because the hearing aid would be all in the ear instead of behind the ear. I went to my primary care doctor in Kaiser Hospital and had them run a hearing test last week. I'll take that measurement to the MIracle-Ear doctor and have him program my hearing aid to that measurement and see if that helps because they told me it doesn't. I recommend Miracle-Ear to people all the time.

My mom has partial hearing loss and a friend referred her to Miracle-Ear. She was in her 80’s at that time and she went with the in-the-ear hearing aids, the same style that she still uses. It was in Indiana where she originally purchased them and had the sales team fit her. But she was extremely unhappy. I live in the Phoenix area and she would come out and visit our family and stay a week or two. In one of her visits, she expressed how upset and disappointed she was with her hearing aids. They were new and she paid so much for them.
We went to a local Miracle-Ear place and the fellow there was extremely helpful. He tuned up the hearing aids, adjusted them for her and did all the things that the people in Indiana said they couldn’t do. It was great. Before she left his office, she could hear for the first time. So, he was a lifesaver for her and for Miracle-Ear because we were ready to throw them out and get something else. But from that time forward, every time she would come out, we would visit him and get a tune-up to make sure everything was okay. And eventually, I moved her out here. She now lives in an independent living section of a retirement community and she is getting along great. We go to the local Miracle-Ear place every 90 days.
In the beginning, we felt really bad about Miracle-Ear because we weren’t getting both the human service as well as the mechanical service out of the hearing aids. But when we started getting the service, the value of the hearing aids became clear and she began to rely on them. The hearing aids have impacted everything about her, including her personality and general functioning in life. When she does not have the hearing aids on or when the batteries fail, I can tell immediately and I waste no time checking on them and changing the battery if necessary. The Miracle-Ear hearing aid makes a huge impact and it’s very positive. The company is great and the product is excellent. We’re very happy overall.

It’s still not perfect, but it’s a lot better than it was. However, it costs a lot, but I’m getting the service out of it to make it worthwhile and it was money well spent. I would definitely recommend it.

The Miracle-Ear in Santa Cruz cheated on me. I only hear 30% and we found out that there was nothing in that part of my old hearing aid. So for four years, I didn’t really hear and the guy would tell me that I have to have a good imagination. From that experience, I wouldn't have gone back to them. But then, when I went to this place, the ENT Doctor said that Miracle-Ear was the best place and that they take good care of you. So I tried it out. I told Marco all these things and he handled everything really well and the hearing aids are working great. He's good with people. Then, Dianne, the secretary there, is really nice and is a great person too. The whole place was really nice whereas before, the people were making me feel like I was crazy.
With the unit that I got, you could get a little thing on the back of your head while it attaches through the bone of your ear. So you still have hearing aids but it’s a lot different. Your batteries are charged, so you have two different sets and you just choose one every day. I discovered that if I take my phone and put it on the back of my head, I could hear it well. I could also hear people. Five years ago, I didn’t have a way to talk on the phone. So how can you get business and how can you do anything? It has all been hard for me. And so Miracle-Ear has been a blessing and an added thing in my life. They promised me that with the hearing aids, it will be the same way six years ago. But I can’t hear everything. I play music and I can't lead my band like I did before. But I'm making it through.

My husband mentioned that he was having to talk out more and I have small grandchildren and I couldn’t hear them very well. I got a Miracle-Ear flyer in the mail, so I went over. They were giving me a free consultation and I liked the person who did it and I decided that that was where I'll get a hearing aid. They suggested the model with the little cone in the ear that goes into the canal, so I went that direction. Right now, the person that has taken over from the first gentleman I talked to there also does a great job. She’s very professional and she makes sure that I’m happy with what I’m hearing and that the hearing aids are working properly.
The staff works hard to make sure that the hearing aids are doing the best they can do for you. I’ve gone in with certain complaints and they’ve been able to help me out and fix it. The hearing aid is very expensive overall though and since insurance doesn’t cover them, it’s a costly investment. But once I’ve gotten these, I’ve never had to replace them. I might look into an alternative if I have to get rid of them. Still, I would definitely recommend Miracle-Ear.

Sweating is the biggest problem with my hearing aid. They quit if I start to sweat, and I sweat a lot. My Miracle-Ear hearing aid is behind-the-ear and it has been working pretty good. I slip over them and it keeps most of the moisture away, which helped quite a bit. But their extended warranty is only good for the franchise that you bought it from. When my extended warranty ran out in Arizona, I renewed it down there. And when I came back to Washington, it was no good and I had to bill the place back in Arizona.

I have moderate hearing loss, where I hear just the high tones. I'd heard about Miracle-Ear for years, and, about four years ago, they had a promotion so I gave them a try. I was looking through the cheap ones and they sold me up to the best one, but I was happy with the switch. I bought the hearing aid that is behind the ear and rechargeable. They convinced me that that was the one that I should buy and that at my age, it'd probably be the only hearing aid I’d ever have to buy. They’d take care of it as long as it needed service. I have the monthly warranty service and they will fix it at no charge.
It’s back in the factory for about two weeks now but it should be coming back any day soon. It got to where it wouldn’t recharge and some of the little charge points on the outside of the hearing aid had fallen off. I bought the hearing aid in Louisville, Kentucky and now, I've moved, so I go to the one in Lexington, Kentucky. They transferred me to Lexington. They both gave me super good treatment and they took care of me. The hearing aid is too expensive but it's good. It's the best around. I've recommended two customers already to Miracle-Ear that bought from them.

They have financing, so that helped. The reps were nice and I really liked them. They talked with me and my interaction with them was great. I got their top-of-the-line hearing aid and its cost was good for its quality. It has the thing that goes behind the ear and then goes inside. It helps with my hearing really well and my life is better than what it was because I can hear now. I would recommend Miracle-Ear because I had a great experience with them.

Miracle-Ear's staff has been wonderful that I cannot say enough good things about how I've been treated. I was impressed by their determination to make me have hearing aids. My hearing loss before contacting Miracle-Ear was moderate to severe and I have a severe hearing loss now. I liked their determination to make sure I could hear and I even developed a personal relationship with them because of their attitude and friendliness. I have the latest hearing aid on the market and it was the one that they determined I could hear with. The cost was about average. I also like the app on my phone, Yousician. It's wonderful and they made it do the bass and treble. I have a control on my phone now and that's great. Miracle-Ear is truly a miracle.
They used me in an ad and I'm well-known in my community. And I still get calls about Miracle-Ear, so it's easy for me to promote them. I had a friend that complained all the time and I said to her that she had to go back to Miracle-Ear and that they want her to be happy and be satisfied. She complained a few more times and I took her over there. She finally went back and they got her happy. Hearing aids are not like natural hearing. I was a radio announcer for a number of years and wore a headset, so, to me, the hearing aid is just like putting on a headset and it wasn't a big deal. I've been very happy have recommended a lot of people to Miracle-Ear.

I have marginal hearing loss and I saw a Miracle-Ear ad for a free hearing test. Their reps were cordial and I was confident of their knowledge of their product. I got the hearing aid model where the electronic part is behind the ear and the little bud goes in the canal. It is expensive but the quality is there. I can tell the difference when they're in and when they're not. There are a couple of females though whose voices are in the upper range that I don't understand them. Also, there are certain TV shows that I don't get to dial in on. But it impressed me that Miracle-Ear could gear it to certain frequency ranges. The hearing aid was computer adjusted to where my hearing loss is worse, instead of it just being a sound amplifier. I'd recommend Miracle-Ear.

I have a little hearing problem when people don't talk up and talk clear. Then, my kids kinda forced me to get a hearing aid because they would talk fast and talk low. I heard a lot about Miracle-Ear and I thought it would be a good place to go. Also, it is one hearing aid company that is fairly local. So, I got their hearing aids and so far, I've got a wonderful relationship with their staff. If I ask any question or if I need to have anything checked, their people are ready to do it. Also, the person I work with has been very good to deal with. She's also very helpful and very informative.
I got two different hearing aids and one style is where a part of it goes in my ear and over the top of the ear. I also have the older kind that just goes in the ear. Their cost is within reason in relation to their quality and they perform fine although I don't feel like I need them all the time. Before, my kids used to say that the TV is so loud when they come in the house. But with my Miracle Ear, I can now turn the TV down a bit so that it is not so loud when they walk in.

I really liked the Miracle-Ear person that I worked with. He was a really neat guy and very low-key. I felt comfortable with him. I met him when he was over at Sears in the city of Orange. When I first went in, I didn't know anything about hearing aids and I didn't need one. I was just having my hearing checked. He educated me about hearing loss, which was really impressive to me. He took the time to ask me if I had time, and I thought that was quite impressive.
I bought the one that I thought was the best from what the guy had told me, but I found that I really didn't need it as much as I thought I did. He told me that I should start with it now because hearing is something that goes slowly and the hearing aid helps with your brain connecting your hearing. My hearing is good and I didn't realize how good it really is. I have a two-story, under-10-year-old house, but I could hear the doggie door from my bedroom upstairs. When I use the hearing aid, I have to be really careful. I don't need to turn it up very loud because my hearing is still good. Like when I go to a movie, at the beginning of the movies where they show the different pictures that are coming on, I can't wear my hearing aid because it's just too loud for me.
I think I have something a little off in the right ear, which the hearing aid doesn't help with. I could hear but I couldn't understand what some people say on the phone because they talk so fast. At 74, I need people to talk a little slower, but the people I need to do that don't understand that. The hearing aid doesn't help on the phone, which is disappointing to me. It's a lot of money for something that doesn't help me on the phone. I went to the people that give away phones for California residents, and I had gotten one of those things to enhance your cell phones, which helped a little, but I still have a hard time understanding when I talk to somebody, especially when it's business-oriented and I want to get all the facts. It's frustrating. But I would still recommend Miracle-Ear. And I have tried to recommend other people to the guy I worked with because, for me, it's all about the person.

I could not hear my grandkids when they were in the car so I sought help. We went to three different companies and talked to their representatives. We were impressed the most with the particular person at Miracle-Ear in Sioux City. Their rep is very knowledgeable and I’ve been dealing with another gal when he’s not there who's very knowledgeable too. Both of them are very helpful and they’ll answer any questions I have. We have scheduled appointments and Miracle-Ear reminds me of them via texting. They used to do them via phone call.
The little retention thing that holds the bud in the ear has broken several times and when I walk in, if one of the technicians aren’t there, then the receptionist handles the minor things and and fixes it. One time the hearing aids just needed to be cleaned. That was the reason I wasn’t getting as much sound through it as I should and they’ve been very accommodating. Their service has been great and the personnel is fine.
At first, I noticed more difference in my hearing than I notice now. I don’t know whether that’s because the brain is getting used to the extra sound because I can take my hearing aids out now when I’m sitting at my desk and listening to something on the computer. There’s not as much difference in amplification as what there was when I first started with the hearing aids. But I haven't relayed that to the technicians, so the next time I have an appointment I would do that.
I have recommended Miracle-Ear to people. I have told others that the gentleman that I interviewed with and got me to go with them was very knowledgeable, will give you a very good explanation of what your hearing loss is and what Miracle-Ear will do over the long term, and emphasize that it’s over the long term. It’s not gonna give you an immediate fix because you gotta retrain the brain, as he said it. I know of one individual I referred to him and they ended up getting the hearing aids too. I was impressed with the personnel and the product.

I love my Miracle-Ear hearing aids. One of my ears was getting really bad and I was having trouble in a crowd and hearing the TV as well. I looked Miracle-Ear up online and saw different people were more satisfied with them. I went to Miracle-Ear and Jean explained everything thoroughly. She was really good at what she does. I bought the one that goes behind the ear which is a lot easier to use and then, the little flower-like thing that goes in the ear. I also got the battery charger that I use at night. The other style was too clumsy and I didn’t wanna have to change batteries all the time because I was afraid I'd drop them.
I moved to Florida last July and my batteries were getting low. I have to have them replaced shortly, so, the first set I bought was $50. I went over here to Crystal River, Florida, went to the mall and there was a Miracle-Ear place there. I wanted to find out about getting new tips and stuff on them, and the man was really nice, but he said they didn’t do tips and he wasn’t helpful at all. I told him I need new batteries pretty soon and he said that he doesn't like batteries and he thought they are a nuisance, but not me - batteries are wonderful. He checked my batteries and said that they were fine. He wanted a copy of my warranty which I let him make a copy of it and I kept it.
A month later, I needed new batteries so I called them and the secretary said that they didn’t keep the batteries in stock and they’d order them. She called me back and wanted $60 for each battery which was ridiculous. I told her that the batteries didn't cost that much and I only paid $50 for the first set that I bought. She said $60 was the cost for each one and I told her I wasn’t gonna get them. I called Jean in Kenosha and she got the batteries for me, put them in a mail and I had them three days later. She also sent me a new cleaning brush and I got a letter in the mail saying that I needed to get them checked under my warranty. I got online and there was a place in Spring Hill that was 22 miles down the road and got an appointment with them. I went there on the 9th of July and the man was very helpful, he checked everything out and put new tips on them. He also said that when my warranty runs out and if I wanted to trade them in, I could and they have a new thing that doesn’t even need batteries which is terrific. Also, their batteries only cost $42.
I have an appointment to go back in four months and then, he's gonna retest my hearing and be sure everything is good with my hearing aids. They were very nice and I'll drive all the way down there rather than go to Crystal River again. In addition, I went to Miracle-Ear at the mall three different times and the man was never there, just the secretary. Their business there is not that good and it's not good for Miracle-Ear. But the people at Spring Hill are really good and I'd tell people to go there. I can hear things now and if somebody tells me my hair looks good or I have a hair on my chin, I can hear them. The cost was high, but they're worth it.

But we decided to go ahead and get them. However, I felt like we didn't get enough information on what to do when they did the fitting. We went at the time where we got the electric chargers because I hate trying to mess with those little batteries and that’s hard to do making sure you got everything right. We can sit and stay in the room and talk. She can hear, I can hear, and that’s great.
Also, the aids are so comfortable that I forget I even wear them. Sometimes, I will go to bed at night and forget I have them in. I turn over on my side and they'd have feedback. I mentioned a shopping center that was in the Northern part of Cincinnati and the receptionist said that there's a place right in that area and that she could call and get me an appointment. So I went out there, stopped in, got my hearing aids cleaned and I was on my way.
The cost of the hearing aids was high but when a person wants to hear, they sometimes have to take a step up and pay a little more. I even got the remote that I use to adjust the hearing aids. One of the reasons I didn’t want hearing aids was that I kept seeing other people constantly cut their fingers on their ears turning knobs. But whenever I need my Miracle-Ear hearing aids up or if it's too loud, I just take my remote out, flip them and push the button. Everything went smoothly and I didn’t think I had that much trouble on my hearing until I got their hearing aid.
It's a bit smaller and most people don’t even know that I have them unless they happen to see that little wire. But at times, it's a little irritating with a crowd. Even though I can still understand things, there's too much noise around with it. Sometimes, the device is also hard in my ear and it feels good to take it out at night. I put my hearing aid on charge at home and when I'm traveling, I use the battery. Everything works good both ways and it lets me know when the battery is low. This hearing aid is expensive but I wouldn't think about switching. I'm content with it.

I have a hearing loss and I tried a couple of other hearing aids, but I found the quality of Miracle-Ear hearing aids to be the best. I've been using it for many years, and I’ve also been very satisfied with their service. My hearing aid is over my ear and it's supposedly the best that they have. It does well and I can hear better with it.

I was missing out on conversations and I couldn't hear well. People around the table would be talking and I couldn't catch all of it, and I had to turn the TV up louder to hear also. I saw some advertisement about Miracle-Ear and I went to see what kind of product they have. I went with an over-the-ear hearing aid and they're very comfortable. I've got it where it’s just very easy to pop them into the canal and put them over my ear. Their reps were very accommodating and friendly. They set me up on a timeframe and I go in it every six months. They take me in and it's a timeframe a day. And when I'm there, they check the batteries and the unit to see if it needs to be cleaned. Service is always good and prompt. I'm 92 years old, and I can hear with my Miracle-Ear hearing aids, and it makes me feel a whole lot better. It has been a very satisfactory experience.

Verna's hearing loss was gradual. We went to Miracle-Ear and we liked the approach that the personnel had from when we came and talked to them. They're very knowledgeable, cordial and concerning. Sherry is a very good people person, listened to my wife's needs. Also, the workers there helped. They just moved the office in the mid-way to Bluefield. We live in Princeton and we drive all the way to Bluefield because of the personnel. When we need an adjustment or cleaning, they're really good to get us in.
We got the over-the-ear style which is expensive, but so is Beltone. We went and talked to Beltone first and had a hearing test there. They were nice and everything, but we were more impressed with Miracle-Ear. The earpieces are with the same size and shape, and the quality as well. When we're in the church, once with the hearing aids, she's able to hear what's going on versus if she doesn't have them in her ear. On the other hand, the hearing aid on her left ear needs an adjustment because she has had trouble with it staying in her ear and we haven't been able to get back in a while to get it adjusted.

I couldn’t hear around the television and I had to turn it up so I decided to have my ears tested and found out that I lost half of my hearing. I decided to get hearing aids. I was afraid I would lose more hearing. I had been to other companies to test, then I saw Miracle-Ear’s ad and decided to have my ears tested with them instead. I purchased the Miracle-Ear hearing aid that goes right in the ear. The amplifier goes behind the ear and the wire goes right inside and you don’t see it. I’ve had them for about three years and they’re fine for me. I put the hearing aids on every day and it is very comfortable and easy to wear.
I can hear everything and can join in on conversations. Sometimes if somebody’s not talking or if somebody’s talking lower like my son, I have to say, “What?” But other than that, I like Miracle-Ear and I’ve had no problem with them. I've worked with different people at Miracle-Ear and I like all of them. I go right in and I don’t have to wait more than five minutes if I have an appointment. I go every four months and get the hearing aids checked and cleaned. I’m very happy with them.

Before getting a hearing aid, my hearing was bad. I got one from another provider and I was having problems with it, so I switched to Miracle Ear. However, I still can’t hear what my grandkids say.

I lost my hearing due to 30 years of being a Chief Marine Engineer. The insurance that I had at the time, which was Blue Cross Blue Shield, paid for half of the hearing aid. I stumbled through and bought the hearing aids that my healthcare provider, Starkey, recommended. At any rate, the appliance was a total failure for $7,500. It broke down every three months. So now, it's time for me to go look for another set of hearing aids. I said I'm not going back to Starkey. Meanwhile, Miracle-Ear has been great. Although, some wires came loose and we sent it in and a couple of weeks later, it was back and running. Also, the Miracle-Ear fellow was a nice a guy. He talked me into buying the insurance and so I keep getting the batteries every month for $14 a month.
Shortly after having the hearing aid repaired, I was mowing the lawn when a pear tree limb snagged the hearing aid right out of my ear. I spent two and half hours crawling around on the lawn looking for that hearing aid but I could not find it. A couple of weeks later, they sent me another hearing aid. All in all, I had great service at Miracle-Ear. The guys at Everett are friendly and fun. You go in and do your inspection and they do whatever it is they do. It takes about half an hour and you're back on the road and doing whatever you had laid out for your day. I tell all of my acquaintances who have to get a hearing aid to skip the pain and suffering and go to Miracle-Ear.

I have a high-frequency hearing loss and I couldn’t hear birds or crickets. I went to Miracle-Ear and their salesman told me that the best hearing aid for me would be the behind the ear style, so I got it. Miracle-Ear's customer service people were great, very warm and seemed like they cared. I also like that they notify me every 90 days to come in and have the hearing aids cleaned. When I’m at the church, I'm having a hard time understanding the pastor, but with the hearing aid, it has made a major difference in my hearing. Also, the hearing aids hold up even though they're tossed around.

I went to a hearing doctor over in Yorktown and I was so disappointed over there. I’m 86 years old and I have 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, and I love being able to hear what they're talking about. I saw the paper one day about Miracle-Ear and after spending about $6,000 over at the other company which wasn’t worth anything, I went down there and John, Miracle-Ear’s rep, fitted me for his own. It was cheaper than the previous one I had. They also got better equipment there.
The people at Miracle-Ear are very nice. John is a very kind and good-hearted person. He has even come to the nursing home for me. I go back every three months or if I have to go back sooner, he will adjust the hearing aids for me. I live where they're having a new one come out and I asked John about that and he said to wait until after the 1st of the year because they'll get all the kinks out by then and they'll call me. He's been great to me and I would recommend him to anybody. One time, I was going to my granddaughter's wedding and the hearing aids weren't working right, so I called him. I asked if I could come down and Rita, his receptionist who was lovely too, scheduled me for 2 o'clock that afternoon. Miracle-Ear is very good and they try very hard to make me happy.

A few years ago, Miracle-Ear offered a special deal for veterans and their spouses. They had a special price and the consultation was free. At that time, I knew I needed a hearing aid, but I could not afford to go out and buy two brand new ones. And so, it was a good deal for us. Their price was very fair. I expected to pay about $10,000 but I just paid $5,000. I'm doing good with the hearing aids and I never had a problem getting into Miracle-Ear to see anybody. They take care of cleaning the wax or, at least, cleaning my hearing aids. I’ve been dealing with a guy named Zach. And I was in there a few weeks ago, had a check-up, he retested my hearing and then decided that we would leave the setting on the hearing aids alone for now. I would highly recommend Miracle-Ear to others. They have done a good job for me.

They’re helpful everyday if I call them. And so far, I feel like I hear good. I don’t hear the TV and my husband’s voice but I can regulate that by just turning up my hearing aid so, that’s helpful. Although I think it’s too expensive, I like the hearing aid and it’s easy to work.

I got their behind-the-ear hearing aid and chose it for monetary reasons. I feel it’s fine, though there are some little difficulties with this particular model like getting a lot of feedback from outside. In other words, if there was a radio playing and I’m talking to my wife, I get more radio than I do her. Other than that, I can definitely hear better. I can adjust it to the limit that I might need at the time. If I’m driving, I'd turn it way down. If I'm talking to somebody, I turn them up, naturally. Miracle-Ear is very good.

Miracle-Ear's reps were very honest, didn’t try to hard sell, and answered every question I had reasonably. I asked one of them what I can expect when I’m out in the wind and he lead me outside. The wind was blowing, we walked around the block and that sold me right there. He didn’t try to tell me something and he just let me go out and find out. It was straightforward. I got the hearing aid that fits over my ear and the little rubber part goes down inside my ear. I can’t wear the left one, though. They can’t get a rubber part that’ll work in my left ear. But the hearing aids work great and they’re of excellent quality. I’ve had them for about four years now and I’ve been satisfied with them. We sent the hearing aids in the other day and had them reconditioned. All in all, Miracle-Ear is excellent, and I’ve already recommended them to people that have bought theirs.

My husband's hearing loss was really bad and we were at a point where things had to be taken care of. Dealing with the Miracle-Ear reps have been good for the most part. But we were told at the appointment that there would be a lifetime battery, then the next time we asked, the manager of the store said it was only for five years. Miracle-Ear is totally out of line for people who are on a limited budget. And the Wells Fargo group that they go with is absolutely the worst. Also, the hearing aid is not perfect, but my husband can hear through them.

I'm with almost 90% hearing loss in one ear and about 15% in the other ear, and have been using hearing aids. My hearing aids used to be from another company but I switched to Miracle-Ear owing to their better reputation, service and financing. I got the hearing aid that goes in the ear and over the ear since after talking to the people at the store, they seemed to think that that was the better model for my usage. Miracle-Ear's reps are very knowledgeable and they take care of me. I have a very good routine with them. I’ve had one little piece of equipment that I had to replace, a little brush to clean the unit with. And every time I call, I get prompt service.
I think however that they’re very expensive. If I didn't have insurance, I wouldn’t have what I've got. I only have one unit of hearing aids and I still had to finance half of it. And getting one for the dead ear wouldn't help enough to make it worthwhile spending another $3000. Nevertheless, I’m very happy with the whole experience and also very happy I have the insurance contract with them.

My mother-in-law went to another company and had problems with her hearing aids. She couldn't even hear with them so, I knew I didn't want that company. I heard about Miracle-Ear before and decided I wanted to go to somewhere where I felt they knew more about the problem than what her company did. I went to Miracle-Ear and they took care of me 100%. I also had a problem a couple of times and they took care of me right away.
The hearing aids were expensive but I’m thrilled to have them. When you can hear people on the phone and hear people talk, you don't have to keeping saying, "Ha, ha, ha." It does help in a lot of sounds you miss out on when you don't have them. Also, their people were nice and I have no issues at all with anything. Everybody’s been good for me. I love the hearing aids that I got and I tell people that I have them. If they don't know I got hearing aids, they will find out eventually. I brag and I don’t try to hide it. I also tell anybody I know who has a hearing problem to go there. I sent two people and one bought from them but they couldn’t do anything for the other one because his hearing was too bad.

I had Miracle-Ear before but I didn't have the greatest experience because I thought the hearing aids were gonna be a lifetime. The software to update my hearing aids was no longer available because they upgraded. Because they couldn't get the software, they couldn't adjust my hearing aids. I then ended up buying all new hearing aids so that really stunk. I'm on a tight budget and they kept saying, "It's just one of those things." I cannot live without my hearing aids and I love them in that respect. But I'm still paying for them and they're just expensive. Other than that, Sam at the Miracle-Ear in Medford is an incredible guy. He is so kind, good, and helpful. He spent a lot of time with me dialing in those hearing aids and he did a great job. I was diagnosed that I needed hearing aids. My wife said that I couldn't hear a thing. And then, I heard a lot of good things about Miracle-Ear. The people there are great. Christie, who manages that particular site, is very nice, very personable and professional. I enjoy going there for the checkups.
I could tell after I got the hearing aids that they were working. I don't constantly have to ask people to repeat things and that's less annoying to them. Also, I noticed that I don't have ringing in my ears anymore when I'm wearing the hearing aids. I also enjoy music and watching television and movies more, and the people around me don't have to put on earmuffs when I'm listening to the TV.

I had gone through an ENT doctor before and I had hearing aids. My hearing loss has gotten worse over the years and I have very, very bad hearing, so I wanted to continue with the hearing aids. I contacted Miracle Ear for my mom who was in assisted living and a person came out and helped fit her with her hearing aids. I was just very pleased with their service and their whole approach. And so, when I wanted to get hearing aids again, I decided to try Miracle Ear. At the time, there was also a promotion and I’m always looking for that. They were also about the same price as the previous hearing aids I've had.
Their customer service is great. It’s easy to set up an appointment and there’s never any waiting when I get to the store. Their rep Lynn will also spend as much time with me as I need her. Sometimes I’ve gone over my time and there’s somebody waiting, but she’s just very patient and answered all my questions. The hearing aids served me okay. I got buttons for volume and directionality which I use quite a bit and am pretty happy with. Then recently, we went back to Miracle Ear and put an app on my husband's smartphone, so that I can have more functionality. The rep then put in a program in my hearing aid to deal with that in one of my ears. So far, having Miracle Ear hearing aids has definitely improved things like social situations, but I still struggle. I still have problems in group settings such as not being able to hear the birds I used to hear and I’m a bird enthusiast.

We went out to Miracle-Ear here in PGA and I got the hearing aid that is over my ear since that was the only one available for me. It was a little expensive, but it was worth it. Every year, I had them change some things including the wires and everything around and that is very good. I've had good interactions with their customer service team, too. I dealt mainly with Kelly who was the one we started with. She's been here since I got it and she has done very well. My experience with Miracle-Ear has been great. With their hearing aid, I can hear everything and I'm glad.
