The Miracle-Ear hearing aids were superior when I got them. Nicole, my hearing aid specialist, was extremely good. They had free parking directly across the street in Lynnwood, Washington too. My hearing aids often got plugged up with earwax, so I would see Nicole about every four months or so to clean it out. After about three years, they had a newer model of the models I use. I switched to the new ones which is what I currently have now.
About a month ago, I lost my backup hearing aids so I appealed to the VA to get new ones even though I wasn’t under a five-year replacement for it, and they provided new ones. They were superior to the current ones that I have from Miracle-Ear. They are rechargeable and I like the rechargeable feature. The batteries of the new Miracle-Ear hearing aids that I got had to be replaced every week. Previous to that, they would last me about two weeks. Also, VA price is free to me while the Miracle-Ear price is very expensive. It's over $6,000 or more for the pair. The very similar hearing aids from Costco are roughly half their price. The price of the Miracle-Ear is extremely high, but the service is extremely high too and they keep up with what’s going on with the hearing problem if any. If new ones come out, they recommend them.
I always recommended that one look around for some prices but I’m recommending the Miracle-Ear hearing aids. They're excellent and has excellent fitting. They're also highly rated. In fact, I recommended them to a friend of mine in Sequim, Washington. He had very similar hearing problem. He has called me about three times to thank me for referring him to Miracle-Ear. He’s in a very tiny town and it turned out they had a Miracle-Ear office within 10 minutes walk of his house. That's amazing.

When I had the test done, my family decided I needed a Miracle-Ear hearing aid. I got the one that goes behind and plugs into the ear. Some days I like them and some days I don’t. I can hear better sometimes, but sometimes I can hear better without them. Sometimes, they’re very annoying when I’m out in crowds, but you can only do so much for loud crowds. The team at Miracle-Ear is awesome though. I am impressed by the way they treat me, the way they do their business and explaining everything in detail. If I ever have a problem, I can call them and they’ll take me right in.

My husband knew the man who was in charge of Miracle-Ear in Ontario. And so, when he needed really good hearing aids because of his huge hearing loss, that’s where we went. We both have Miracle-Ear hearing aids. My husband's hearing loss is very bad because he worked around very loud equipment as a building engineer at Cal Poly. I got mine because people kept telling me, “You can’t hear what I said.” So, I would miss a lot of the conversation. I got the behind-the-ear hearing aid, and that was recommended. And it never did bother me to wear them. I put them on in the morning and forget to take them off at night.
Even with a lot of changes, my interaction with the Miracle-Ear sales representative and customer service has always been fine. They were really good and very caring. They’re very professional and very helpful. I lost both of my hearing aids one time, and I didn’t have insurance then. And so, it was a real concern. But my hearing aids specialist, Diane, went out of her way to get hearing aids for me that wouldn’t cost too much and that would be part of the replacement thing. They were still partially insured when I bought them. I’ve already recommended Miracle-Ear to friends. We’re very happy with it. And as I read, Miracle-Ear seems to be very competitive in their prices.

I went to a wonderful ear doctor here in Waterloo and he recommended Miracle-Ear to me. I wear it all the time and now I hear fine. When I have a conversation, I know there’s a difference because I’m not saying "Excuse me" every two minutes.

I’d seen the advertisements and I went down and talked to the people locally here. I liked what they offered that’s why I went with Miracle-Ear. I'm on my second deal so I've had them for about 10 years now. I started out with the in-ear and the one that I've got now is a behind-the-ear type. I like it because it’s more comfortable. I only bought one for one ear and that ear finally just went out on me completely, so I had that one converted for the good ear. One of these days, I'm gonna upgrade to where I could get the same type for both ears. The biggest problem is I don’t wear them most of the time. I forget them. Then, when I put them in, the one behind-the-ear is so comfortable that I forget I have it on. I’ve gotten in the shower with it and realized before I turned the water on that I got a hearing aid on.

Miracle-Ear was convenient, and they accepted our health insurance. I had issues where I couldn’t hear people when we were in a room, and the hearing aids have helped quite a bit. They’re doing what they’re supposed to do. We go back to have them checked from time to time, and the guy we go to is awesome and takes care of us.

I needed to hear a little bit better at work so I looked around and we found Miracle-Ear. I heard some interesting things about Beltone from my mom and dad so I didn’t even bother them. Miracle-Ear seemed to be fairly good as far as what I could find out. I first went for the all-in-ear type as that was all they had to offer at that time. Now, I have the type where I wear around the ear and it goes down inside. It works very well.
I've never had any problems with the team at Miracle-Ear. I’ve had one of my hearing aids chewed up by the dog and they replaced it promptly. They would get here every once in a while and they do service on them and make sure that they’re tuned up. However, the hearing aids lack complete clarity. I don’t think any of the hearing aids will ever get there unless you get an implant. Also, $4,000 to $5,000 or maybe more per hearing aid is beyond me as to why they cost that much.

My experience with Miracle-Ear is always good. They're very gracious and very helpful here in New Hartford, and they do a fine job. I've had my hearing aids from them for over two years now. I have two behind the ear ones. They're too expensive but performance-wise, they're very good. I can hear people. We just bought two in the ears for my wife but she hasn't received them yet.

I wasn’t happy with the company I bought my first set of hearing aids from. I was getting the runaround, so I when it got to five years old, I got rid of them. I went to Miracle-Ear and I’ve been satisfied ever since. Every time I’ve had an issue, they’ve been very polite and they take good care of me.

I had heard good things about Miracle-Ear and I thought I would try them. It worked out, and it was perfectly good. It fits inside the ear, and the piece itself sits on the outside of my ear. It was difficult understanding people and it was hard with the television. Miracle-Ear gave me better hearing and this is my third pair in about 12 years.
The cost is like anything else. If you want something good, it’s going to cost you. I haven’t begrudged myself for the fact that I needed something good, and I got it. I got the service that went with it. I’m very pleased. The customer service team is very accommodating. You don’t have to wait forever for an appointment. It’s a comfortable feeling to be there. You don’t feel like you’re a poor patient somewhere looking for somebody to help you out. I have heard the experiences people have had with other hearing aid places, and I’m glad I went to Miracle-Ear. I have told friends about them and they have gone to them.

I was a sous chef in the navy and we had to work with the steam jacketed kettles which let off a bunch of steam and noise. Plus, I was out of the armed security guard and having to shoot all the time. I have a progressive hearing loss and I wasn’t satisfied with the VA’s hearing aids. They weren’t Miracle-Ear. I bought my mom a Miracle-Ear hearing aid and she recommended me to Dr. ** because she’s had good experience with her hearing aids.
I got the BTE with the rechargeable battery because I don’t have good control over my fingers and stuff with batteries. They’re too small and I drop stuff all the time. The overall performance of my Miracle-Ear hearing aids is outstanding. I can hear better. Also, Dr. ** is very helpful. She’s willing to try to find a different day if my appointment is in conflict with the schedule. She explained things. She showed me how to use that little remote control thing on the key chain, and it’s working very good. It’s accustomed to my ear and to my needs. If I’m driving with the window down, I can click the button and it cuts out the left hearing aid so I don’t have all that noise. It’s very clear. I also got everything on the computer with it. The cost is very reasonable too.

I've been with Miracle-Ear for three years and I've had a good experience. Everybody has been real nice and considerate about things. We got along real good with them. If I need the hearing aids cleaned, I take them down and they’ll clean it for me. I think I am getting my money's worth out of the hearing aids. It has better qualities and it's working for me. I like the way they fit. They're behind-the-ear and they don’t fall out. They both feel good with my glasses too.

I have Miracle-Ear hearing aids that go over the back of my ear. My wife talks really low and since using the hearing aids, I feel I can hear her. I would still like to be tested with these hearing aids in to see if my hearing is any better because sometimes, I turn them as loud as it’ll go, and I’m still not any better. I can hear shuffling of my feet. I can hear sounds like that that I wasn’t hearing. But I’m not so sure that I've helped myself as far as hearing. I'm still having the TV up loud, and I have them adjust it by my phone, and I adjust them on the push button behind the ear and I don’t feel that I'm having any great benefit from them. I don’t have to hear crumpling of paper and shuffling of feet. But that’s all it seems like it’s helped me. And I got a brother who rides with me a lot. He has hearing aids too, and I still can't hear him.
Other than that, the representatives from Miracle-Ear are great. Amanda and Langdon are great. I had a little wire broke off of the hearing aids the other day, and Amanda replaced it. I just went in, called her, and she said, “Yes, come in. Stop by.” They’re really good people. I like them. Also, according to Langdon, the hearing aids could help you keep from getting Alzheimer’s. I like that part of it. That aspect is great because I had an aunt, my mother, and a bunch of them went through that. Maybe that would help not to have that.
Thank you for sharing your review. I'm sorry to hear that you are having some trouble hearing with your aids. We recommend that you go back into the store to have a Hearing Care Professional check them out for you. Perhaps they need an adjustment. Give your local store a call and they will set up an appointment to get you in and check things out.
Have a great day!

I got the behind the ear style of hearing aids from Miracle-Ear and it is comfortable. It seems to work for me, and it’s hidden pretty well. I like the quality. They are expensive but that’s the way hearing aids go these days. The performance is very good. I can hear better. Things are louder especially certain noises like birds or pots and pans. You notice noises like that more, but you get used to it. The customer service team is very friendly. In my four months, they’re very professional and explained things very thoroughly. Any questions I have, they answer. I’m very pleased with Miracle-Ear and when I’m pleased with someone, I’ll stick to them. It’s been a pleasure working with Miracle-Ear.

If I have about any type of a problem, I get to call, and she tells me, “Good morning.” She takes care of it right there. My Miracle-Ear made a difference. My wife doesn’t have to yell at me now.

I went in because I am having some difficulty with the crispness of voices, and also to see if it was possible to put a hearing aid in only one ear. The Dr. David ** was very friendly and very professional. We talked about my hearing issue, and the fact that I have Meniere’s Syndrome in one ear and it has damaged the hearing in that ear enough that I am almost deaf in that ear, but also have very loud Tinnitus in it. He was very honest and was very knowledgeable about Meniere’s (which is definitely more than I can say about another ear company that argued with me that I didn’t have Meniere’s and mine is very classic) and was very honest and upfront that he didn’t feel that I was a good candidate for hearing aids at this point.
He put me in the sound box for a hearing test, explained in detail, what the markings on the chart meant, and why he felt that hearing aids could be worse for me. He was honest, was there to help and diagnose, NOT to just SELL Hearing Aids! I will definitely go back when the time comes, and would recommend Dr. ** to anyone.

While the women who work at Miracle Ear in Auburn, WA are kind and helpful, the franchise owner is not concerned with the patients the business serves. I purchased my mother the top of the line hearing aids just before the Christmas holiday. I also purchased the protection plan for a year in advance and we were told there was a 30 day trial period. My mother fell and broke her hip and leg two weeks later. The Miracle Ear branch was aware of this as she was unable to make her follow up appointments. She was in the hospital for two weeks followed by an inpatient nursing facility, where she died. She died two and half weeks after the 30-day trial period. Instead of doing the human thing and allowing us to return the hearing aids, they apologized and said they could do nothing.
We now own a pair of $10,000 hearing aids that have only been worn a handful of times because my mom was in the hospital. They wouldn't even consider taking them with a restocking fee or other penalty fee. Coping with the death of a parent and funeral costs is stressful enough without being sucker-punched by a company that claims to provide patient care.

I was having trouble hearing which was why I went to have my ears checked. My husband also had hearing difficulties and had some bad experiences with another hearing aid place in the town. So, I went to Miracle-Ear and I was very happy with the service I received. Interacting with their team was excellent. I went with the hearing aids that are in the ear and then, it fits over the ear. It functions fine but all newer hearing aids seem to be getting more efficient and smaller. I am an older person. I have arthritic fingers as do many older people and to use those small hearing aids is very difficult.
I didn’t have any insurance that would cover the hearing aids and talking to many people who want to get or have gotten hearing aids, they are extremely expensive. I was able to pay for it but I didn’t like paying that much money. It was a little bit of a sacrifice. They’re overpriced for people who cannot afford them and many people can't. With the changes in the technology, they should be getting a lot cheaper. Nevertheless, I have recommended Miracle-Ear to other people. Since having the hearing aids, I can hear better.

It also has features like directional hearing. Plus, I can set it and when I go to a restaurant or somewhere noisy, I can turn it down. The hearing aids worked out the best and I'm very pleased with them. At first, I thought it was expensive but it has worked out. I can hear and I can't put a price on that. It has immensely impacted my life. So we purchased a hearing aid from Miracle-Ear, which is closest to us, and we purchased a behind-the-ear thing with the transmitter being inside the ear. It has a little wire that goes in and a little thing you push into your ear. Growing up, all I saw was someone with a thing in their pocket with a cord sticking outta one ear. This has got to be leaps and bounds above that, so it’s nice.
Since having the hearing aid, I've noticed that other people don’t put their hands over their ears when I’m trying to hear the TV anymore. It's great. I can hear people, conversations and parts of music that I didn’t hear before. It’s nice to be able to hear. My wife said it's excellent. She didn’t have to scream. Also, the people at Miracle-Ear make me feel like family. They never seem to look at their watches or clocks when I’m in there. It’s like “Okay, we need to take care of you, and then we’ll take care of whatever else happens.” That feels good. The hearing aids are very expensive, but I got a good quality hearing device. Also, they keep advancing their technology. The last time I was there for my checkup, Landon was telling me that I don’t have to have the GENIUSlink and that I can hook my Bluetooth directly to my hearing devices, which is good. Then after an hour, the clerical person there cleaned our hearing aids. That was a year ago. We left and we’ve been going to their office in Champaign, Illinois ever since. Miracle-Ear invited me for a free test. I got to try one out and I liked it. The people were friendly, knowledgeable and they were not pushy. It was also because of their reputation that I chose them. My hearing loss is moderate and is not a big deal but when I noticed the difference that Miracle-Ear Hearing Aids made, especially in hearing music, I decided to go ahead and make the purchase.
The hearing aid I got goes behind the ear and the price was better than the in-ear model. It has good quality but the cost has become problematic and is the main downside. I still got another year and a half to pay on them. I’m retired, we got a fixed income, and that $200 a month payment is really stressful. That’s the reason I don’t wear them very often. I usually wear them just for when I’m having musical performances. If I had to do it over again, I would not. Despite that, Miracle-Ear is a good product. I enjoy them especially in the springtime when I could hear the birds so much better. The behind-the-ear style was the best one. I would like to be able to hear real low voices, though. My husband has a very soft voice and I'd like to be able to hear his voice without having to turn it up so loud that everything else is loud. The cost of the hearing aid is a little overpriced too but its quality is good.

Went to M E in early Jan 2019, I have known for many years that I have had severe hearing loss since being in the military in the 1960s. I have over the years tried many different online "amplifying" products that I now feel that "I wasted my time and money." My experience and diagnosis at M E was as expected and have had 4 in-office visits and could not be more pleased with the results I have experienced. I know I could have shopped and found instruments at a little lower cost, but am very pleased with the results from Julie and the staff at the St. Anthony, MN location.

My hearing loss was marginal because I spent many years around airplanes when I was in the Air Force. A friend of mine had a pair of Miracle-Ear hearing aids and she said it helped her. I got the behind the ear style with the mode in the ear. My hearing is very poor, especially with the low decibels, but it has been much better since wearing the Miracle-Ear hearing aids. The hearing aids are helpful, but they are not worth the money. They have some things that are not perfectly good. I can understand a lot of things, but when I got it demonstrated by the gentleman, he did it on Bluetooth and it made it a lot clearer than it actually is, so it was kinda deceiving. They put it on Bluetooth but they didn't tell me they put it on Bluetooth. But the representative at the hearing aid store that I go to now is very good. I like her.
I had two other hearing aids, one from Costco and one from Sam's, and Miracle-Ear is better than both of those, although the two were a lot cheaper. Nonetheless, the Miracle-Ear made it easier to converse. I have trouble hearing things in restaurants and things of that nature and the Miracle-Ear has helped. I wear them everyday.

My hearing loss is bad before contacting Miracle-Ear. When I got there, I had great interactions with their customer service team. They were interested in pleasing me and they always have. The secretary there and the doctor were both outstanding. The hearing aid I got fits behind my ear and the other part goes into my ear. The performance is outstanding but the cost is high, and I found that out after I got it. I was talking to my pastor, and he got a hearing aid at Sam’s for $3,000. I checked his and it looks about the same. And if I had to get another one, I would go look at the $3,000 ones at Sam’s. Other than that, the Miracle-Ear hearing aids work great for me and I’m satisfied with them.

Prior to contacting Miracle-Ear, my wife said I kept asking her what she said, and I knew that I had some hearing loss in my right ear. I’m a shooter and I had shot, unprotected hearing, my .45 a couple of times. I also worked in the printing industry and was around printing presses. I went and had a hearing test done with Miracle-Ear. I have a friend that went to Sam’s and got his hearing aids. He had nothing but trouble with them. We eat together every Tuesday night, and he’d sit there and complain to me. And I told him that I didn’t have that problem at all with Miracle-Ear.
When speaking with their reps, they'd take me right in anytime I call and I never have to wait more than five minutes for my appointments. I’m happy with the service and Rodney, the audiologist, stood out for me. I got an over the ear hearing aid and it got the earpiece that goes in my ear. I’ve tried three different earpieces and I like the one I’ve got now. It’s a semi-clear layered plug that goes in your ear. The hearing aids' functionality and performance are great. When I first got them, they were too loud to me and I had Rodney to turn them down. I have to go in their office to put the hearing aids on the laptop to make any adjustments on them. I like that because I can’t fumble around and hit the wrong button taking them in and out. I’m really satisfied with them. Miracle-Ear hearing aids are expensive, but their service makes up for it.

My hearing was getting worse and a lot of it had to do with where I worked. I've worked for the sheriff's office. There were constant telephones ringing plus I was on the radio all the time. My hearing deteriorated from there. But bad hearing also seems to run in my family anyway. I had also tried another company before Miracle-Ear but It didn’t work out. Then I happened to remember that I took my mother to Miracle-Ear before. But then they weren’t at Sears anymore so I looked them up on the computer and went down there. And my experience has really been great.
They're very thorough and caring. If I need to go in other than at my three-month check-in, I give them a call and they let me just drop by. They also scold me for not wearing them as much as I should. It's like visiting good friends. The hearing aids were very expensive but I didn’t think they were too out of line with anything else that I've ever seen. And you get what you pay for. I'm very pleased with them. I love being able to control the hearing aids from my cellphone, especially in a restaurant where you don’t wanna be messing with your ears and you wanna adjust them.

The functionality and performance have been pretty good except that the wire goes and every time that goes, I gotta pay $50 to replace it. Other than that, their reps take good care of me and their attitude is good and everything. They’ve got a good bedside manner, so to speak, and they’re very friendly.

I didn't think I had lost a lot of hearing but the test showed otherwise. I had fair to moderate hearing loss and I was able to quite easily compensate for it. Miracle-Ear was the company that was closest to me. Plus I know the guy who runs the store. I like him so it was very favorable. My hearing aid is hidden in the canal of the ear and it's not noticeable. It had to be adjusted a number of times though. I also have to go back all the time and have the wax taken out of it. But I can walk right in there and the staff in Brockton was very good. Overall, the experience was very good. The technology is changing rapidly so I'm sure this will be outdated in another year. But I thought Miracle-Ear stood behind their products and what I have is pretty good. I can hear the TV better now. I never realized I had hearing loss but I can pick up all the sounds from the TV now. This was the top of the line hearing aid. So you pay for what you get.

I was in an airplane when my right eardrum blew. I had three holes in it and I had extreme trouble hearing in my right ear after that. Also, my left ear had been overused. At the time, I was going with a man who had the Miracle-Ear hearing aids and he loved them. So, I decided to get hearing aids from Miracle-Ear as well. When I went into the West Fargo store, their rep, Corey, told me that I'd better get hearing aids for both ears, so I did. I have them for about three years now and I love them.
For the first couple of years, the hearing aids worked great. But lately, when I put them on one adjustment, they don’t wait for me to change it to another adjustment. For instance, if I was in a crowd and I put my hearing aids in a noisy atmosphere mode, they'd jump into one of the other modes. So I have been constantly adjusting them, which is really a nuisance. I am also experiencing a few problems with my hearing and it seems that I have to go into Miracle-Ear to ask them what’s going on with my hearing aids. They might need some cleaning or my hearing has gotten worse. Since I live on social security and I can’t afford to get new ones, I’m stuck with what I have.
The rep at Miracle Ear told me that if something goes wrong, they’d cover it, so I’m gonna make him keep up his end of the bargain. But if I lost one of my hearing aids, that might be a different story altogether, though the rep didn’t go over that. But I keep up on my check-ups. Usually, when they give me the notice to come in, I do.
Other than that, the interactions I've had with the customer service reps at Miracle-Ear has been great. But there was this one girl I never liked. I would come in and she would have no time for anybody but her book and she wouldn’t look up or talk. I could tell she was only doing the job to make a few dollars. But they either fired her or she quit and the people at Miracle-Ear were glad because I talked to one of the guys there and he said that it wasn’t a loss when she left. And I could understand that because I’ve had businesses and customer service is hugely important. Now they got a new girl there, Anne, and she’s nice. I liked the rest of the team a lot.
I’ve also turned a lot of people over to Miracle-Ear. My daughter could have gone anywhere, but she went to Miracle-Ear because I recommended them. But she wasn’t happy about her experience at the West Fargo store because she was told something other than what they told her in Palm Springs when she was having trouble with her hearing aids. She bought the most expensive you could buy and the guy that worked with me didn’t quite tell her the truth on them. And when she was at Palm Springs, they said that she shouldn't have been charged the price she paid because what she got were not the top grade that she bought. So, she went back to the West Fargo store and straightened it out.

I had Siemens for seven years and they weren’t working properly anymore. So, I looked around in the Vero Beach, Florida area and I found a Miracle-Ear dealer in the next town over in Sebastian, Florida and they treated me very well. They gave me a hearing test. I tried the product. It was better than the old hearing aids that I had from Siemens, so I purchased them. They were expensive, but up to this point, I’m pretty satisfied with it. I have some options that I use on my hearing aid. I can use the device that hangs around my neck and I can use it to hear my music while I’m taking my walk or I can answer the phone with it. I ordered the TV option where I could plug in and hear the TV through my hearing aids. They're a very flexible product. You gotta spend that kind of money, you might as well go with somebody who’s gonna take real good care of you.
Also, customer service is beyond excellent when I go in. From the first time, Cindy took her time with me. I went back a couple times to tweak some of the frequencies that I was having problems with. I have the worst time with female voices and especially when they’re low in tone. So, she took the time to retest and tweak the hearing aids to better enhance some of those frequencies and did her best to solve my problem. I would go there every three months and they would clean the earpieces and replace the ends and it was covered under warranty. I would do highly recommend them to anybody.

Sometimes, I could smell smoke, but I couldn’t hear things going on so maybe I have a little trouble hearing. And then they would do nasty things like come up and lip sync to me. But then when I say, “I’m sorry, I didn’t hear you,” and lean towards with one ear, they would absolutely scream at the top of their lungs, which is kind of a dirty trick.
I had several different choices but Miracle-Ear happened to be very close to where I live, it’s less than a mile away, I went in there and met Tammy and I was very impressed with her. Her attitude and professionalism were by far equal if not superior to the product. She made me very comfortable and relaxed. She answered any of my questions. If I had a problem with my hearing aid, the model where the big part of it goes behind my ear and then a little hearing thing goes right up into my ear, she explained what I was doing incorrectly.
Then eventually, after three years, she’s got a receptionist, a young woman by the name of Lindsey. She too is a perfect right-hand lady for Tammy because should I go in the Torrington Miracle-Ear store in need of a little brush or a battery, I'm totally satisfied when I walked outta that door. Except for one time when I lost it in the lake fishing. It was under warranty back then, so Jesse quickly got me a brand-new one. The quality of my hearing aids is fine. Jesse said that by now I should be thinking about an upgrade. I’m just gonna wait a little while to go up and see him again. And then, someone told me about Miracle-Ear and the type of hearing aid that would go into the ear and wrap around it. That's what I went for and that's what I'm using. They're very comfortable. I don't even know I have them on. It's very lightweight. I wear them all the time except in the gym.
There's two settings on the hearing aids. When I go into an area where it's loud, I can adjust it so that I can cut down on that loudness. And in my right ear where I have less hearing, it's equal with my left. I don't notice any difference. I hear well with both ears. I'm enjoying wearing the hearing aids. I have them more than a year now, and I've been paying them off, and it's not a hardship to do that. I should have done it before. I hear much better with them.
I go to a Miracle-Ear on 46 in Fairfield, New Jersey. It's very convenient for me to do that. They see me every few months. But in the beginning, they were seeing me every two weeks. I had one evaluation after the first year to see if anything had changed and they were very thorough. Whenever I go in to have them checked out, the staff sit me down. The manager and another rep, Carrie were both good. I went for the testing and I had John do the hearing test. The hearing test went well, but the experience went downhill after that.
When he was doing the hearing test, his sole purpose was to try and sell me new hearing aids. I know that there are new innovations and he had the latest model sitting on the desk. I liked it. Frank, from Miracle-Ear, checks my ears out and he makes sure everything is okay. There are no problems with the hearing aids, but he adjusts them if I need to. So go to Miracle-Ear. It's very nice.

I had a high pitch sound deafness. I could understand speech close to me, but in a distance, I have some hearing loss. Miracle-Ear sent me an advertisement and they were coming to Pensacola, which was near where I live. They wanted to know if I want an appointment so I did and went in just for a test to see what they found. I saw and liked what they offered. The hearing aid I got from them fits behind the ear with a little plug that goes inside. I liked it better than the others that were offered at the time. In terms of its cost in relation to its quality, it's comparable. My hearing aids have been working with me slowly correcting the hearing loss. If I need an adjustment to my aids, all I do is call and they set me an appointment. I go in and they take care of it. They're very professional and friendly. It's just like visiting a friend. I'm happy with the service that I've gotten from them.

The service and the plan Miracle-Ear had was really good. My interactions with their staff are very good, too. Their knowledge is very good. If I called and have a problem, they’d schedule me that day. I have hearing aids that are out around the ear. My hearing is too far gone for just the inner ear, which I had for a while. I had partial hearing loss and Miracle-Ear has had a very good impact on my life. But now, one ear has full hearing loss and since I have more hearing loss, the hearing aids are not helping me very much. The cost is high, but for what they do, it’s good. I’d recommend them.

I suggest you move cautiously with Miracle-Ear. They make the sell very quick, then you're vulnerable. Our purchase was in Sept 2018. Ownership has been problematic. Issues with charger - 2 times, issues with syncing several times. Read the replacement policy and you'll avoid the problems we are having. The pricing is hidden and appears based on ability to pay (insurance gouging). Try to reach corporate... impossible. The $7,500 aids were billed to my insurance for over $16,000. That price settled on over $9,400 with my insurance - no one will explain. Everyone I talk to is not the right person. They might work on a wear-down theory and it works. We will be throwing away these and purchase somewhere else.

I didn’t know I was losing that much hearing until I had a hearing test. I got another set of hearing aids down in the valley and whenever something went wrong, I had to drive to the valley. So when I was getting a little disgusted with the whole thing, I went to Miracle-Ear and it was very satisfactory. I got good hearing aids. I didn’t get any cheapos and I’m very satisfied with it.
I got the hearing aid that goes on top of the ear with a little tube that goes in my ear. I got the best one they had at the time. They had a fellow up here, Brandon, and this young man was absolutely terrific. When he quit his job the person that took his place is also good. I wish Brandon would come back though. And then there’s Lana who’s the receptionist. She’s a terrific person too because sometimes, I just go in there and have them clean that little microphone part out. I don’t have to make an appointment. She takes care of that for me. Miracle-Ear have great service and I can hear better.

My wife thought my hearing was really bad. Miracle-Ear had a special going on. I work for the government and the government kicked in so much of the money to purchase my hearing aids. My wife, my technician, and the guy that fitted me said that eventually, I needed the hearing aids. Without my hearing aids, I have a hard time hearing some more toned voices. I’m a lot more comfortable with the hearing aids than I am without them. I can hear conversations a lot better so they’re a plus for me.
I like Miracle-Ear and I’ve been really happy with them. The quality is great. The hearing aids are programmable. I have a hard time hearing in church and they put something in the church that I can just tune my hearing aids to. It is some kind of a circular antenna within the church that broadcast to my hearing aids. That was a plus for me. The other hearing aids did not have that.
If I’d go buy another set, I’d go back to Miracle-Ear again. I get good service from them. I had suggested to all of my friends to go to Miracle-Ear but they told me they could go somewhere else cheaper. But they don’t get the support that I get from Miracle-Ear. I can go back to my Miracle-Ear store, and I set up an appointment. I go back about every three months and if I have a problem at any time, I can call. They'd work me right into their schedule and take care of me.

I can’t have something that’s completely blocking my ear. I switched and whatever Miracle-Ear has does the job for me. People should absolutely go for it. But getting hearings aids that fitted me best was a trial and error process. They said they had what I needed and they did. I’m happy with my Miracle-Ear system. I’m 85 years old, my hearing is not good, and I have a hole in my left eardrum. I talked to a lot of people who have hearing aids and most of them went to Costco. They can't hear anything and their hearing aids are in the drawers. I went to Miracle-Ear to talk to them. Their guy Trevor knew what he was talking about. He was very nice and he went out of his way to talk me through things. He told me the pros and cons. He was somebody I could trust and would be right by me. Another staff at Miracle-Ear is Naomi who's at the desk. She's a real peach. She welcomes us in, talks to us, and does a lot of stuff when Trevor’s not there.
I have one hearing aid that I have problems with. One of my ears has wax and the other is really dry. The dry one gets flakes in it and that plugs the holes. I give Miracle-Ear a call and am told to bring the hearing aids there and it'd be looked at. Their staff cleaned them up and they were ready to go again. I would like the hearing aids to be a lot less but sometimes, you get what you pay for. I've had them for four years now and there’s no cost when I go to the store. They call me twice a year to come in and have the hearing aids checked over.
Now, with the hole in my eardrum, I had to go to a specialist. There's nothing they could do but surgery, so I'm having that. I went to Miracle-Ear and they upped the hearing aid to what they could. For a while, it was fine. They told me it may get louder and it did. I went in again and they turned it down for me. Six months later, it seemed like my kids were hollering at me. I went back to the store and they turned the hearing aid down. I went back in about last week and I asked them to turn it up a little bit. All of those were done without any cost.
I recommend Miracle-Ear all the time. I even talked to the people in here and told them to get their hearing aids out of their drawers and wear them. One lady said the other night, she was having a buzz in her eardrum because the battery on her hearing aid is going dead. I could not tell if she had a hearing aid in because she still couldn’t hear us. I think that these people are wasting their money. I get such care from Miracle-Ear and I’m happy. They've been pretty helpful. They're an A plus for me.

I experienced hearing loss in a live setting where I was part of a presentation and taking questions from the audience. Fortunately, I knew what the questions were gonna be so, I had the answers ready because I couldn’t hear the questions coming from a lot of the audience members depending on how close or far they were from the stage. I didn’t know that I was having any loss until then and I decided that I had to get a hearing aid. There were tons of companies and brands and so, it was a coin toss. I got in with a cheap mail-order class where I bought one hearing aid because they were expensive for me at that time and I couldn’t afford a pair of them. That helped a lot but I realized that it wasn’t doing what I needed it to do, so I called Miracle-Ear.
Everybody was very diligent, caring and professional. It was an excellent experience and the customer service was personal which carries a great deal of weight for me. The person at Miracle-Ear pulled out a set, had me try it on and it sounded very good which was what made up my mind. I paid a lot of money for the hearing aid and I was fortunate enough to be able to afford it. However, Miracle-Ear came out with a new software for the same model or for the newer models of the same hearing aid but I could not access that. The software was not upgradeable and for it to be one, I would’ve to spend another 7,500 which is ridiculous and not fair to the consumers.
If I pay 700 bucks for an iPhone, there are periodic software updates and it’s the same thing with my iPad and Mac Air computer. There are always upgrades but they don’t ask you for any money. It’s just a little window that pops up and says, “Do you wanna do it now or do you wanna do it later?” That’s the way it should be for Miracle-Ear. There is no reason why they have advanced upgrades and they’re not available to previous users of very similar set of hearing aids. Nevertheless, since wearing them, I can hear sounds. Sometimes, it gets a little loud but other than that, it’s okay.

Sep. 6, 2018 I pacified up my aids. They were programmed by Sherri. Next appointment set for two weeks. On Sep. 20 I requested a refund due to programming issues that made it extremely difficult to wear the aids. Next appointment set. On Sep. 27 I again wanted to return the aid and again Sherri refused. She just reprogrammed them again. Next appointment couldn't be set until mid Oct. well past the thirty days but Sherrie said not to worry about it. So I go back in mid Oct. and again tried to return the aids but was told it was past the thirty days so tough luck. Sherri just reprogrammed them again.
Nov. 6 went back and again tried to return them and of course Sherri refused. Again she reprogrammed them and set up volume control on the Android app. I have not lengthen from that night because the volume control only works on one side and the other is not adjustable by the app or the switch on the aids. In early Dec. I met with Earl, the franchise owner, and he acted like a Jacques. Obviously I tried to return them within the 30 days and was refused. I lost my hearing when I was 26. It got really bad very quickly right in the middle of my 26 years and I didn't succumb to hearing aids for about 10 years later when I decided that I needed something that was gonna really work for me. My hearing loss is so bad. I had two previous hearing aids prior to Miracle-Ear, but I was not satisfied. I was driving down and I saw Miracle-Ear in the parking lot. I thought I'd go in there and see what their aid was all about as opposed to what I had, and I was very pleased with the outcome. I have the behind-the-ear type and they are not like the little bud things. I had to have the molds put in because it seemed to work better for me.
The reps from Miracle-Ear that helped me, Tony and John, were amazing. They were very knowledgeable and they knew exactly what was needed. They were also able to get me the quality of life back that I really am so grateful for. I was hearing so much more background noises when I had my other aids and everything seemed so misconstrued, but when I got the Miracle-Ear aids, all I wanted to focus on were articulate sounds and people talking to me. I wanna hear everybody's conversation. It was nice that I had the options of turning out. I have four different levels that I can go to when I am in a crowded area. I like the different verses of all. And if I'm in a meeting, I can turn the hearing aid on another one. They really worked with me on my lifestyle of what I need to do to make my life better in certain circumstances.
Miracle-Ear has all the devices. The mini blue that I hook up to my TV is really nice to put on and be able to hear the streaming in my ears and the things that I'm watching. And in the movie theaters, I used to have to ask for the hearing things that they would have. But now, with my hearing aids, it's so much better that I just can turn them up and I can hear the movies perfectly. My sisters lost their hearing in their later 60s and they've both been having trouble. I've already recommended them and they both go to Miracle-Ear, and they are happy with their hearing aids.

I tried three different hearing aids and Miracle-Ear is the third one I tried. At first, I wasn’t happy with it but I didn’t have the top-of-the-line model. They advised that if I wanted to hear, I was gonna have to pay for it. That was why I asked them what was the best they had and I wound up with the one that cost $7,500. After that, it was a learning experience for me to get used to using them. At this point, I’ve had it for about three years and I have been wearing them almost every day. It fits in there very easily. There’s one that has a red marking on it and the other one has a blue. I would know which ear to put it in and it’s very easy to slip in and out. And when they're in there, I forget. As a matter of fact, I've gone to bed numerous nights where I realize all of a sudden that I still have the hearing aids in. I would have to get up and take them out.
Today, I still use them when I listen to a television program at night. But with the Hallmark channel, they talk so low and so far. Not only that, but in exciting points, they bring the music out and that blocks out what I’m hearing. I was getting more satisfaction from the Miracle-Ear but right now, I’m in the market to find a new one that will work better than that. I haven’t seen any yet though. But my hearing is very unique. It was destroyed pretty much by being around a lot of noisy jet engines, which 99% of American people aren’t gonna be around. So that’s what really threw me off. What I have is probably as good as I can get right now.
I was in the air force military for many years and I was subjected to a lot of jet engine noises. That’s what started my hearing problem and it slowly evolved into where I couldn’t differentiate and hear when I was in a group of people with more than one person talking. When I became a senior officer in the military, I would have my people in for meetings. I would make sure that only one of them talked at once. Otherwise, I couldn't follow what they were saying. But in the military, I didn't fail anything with the audiometer test they gave. So I didn’t have a hearing aid for about 20 years until I got out of the military.
The first ones I tried only cost around $3,000, which is still a lot of money. But I hear a lot of hearing aids have been advertised for a whole lot less. On the other hand, I like the fact that the people at Miracle-Ear have bent over backwards to try to solve my problem. I’m most impressed with the people at the office in San Antonio. Any time I have any problems, they'd get right on it and try to adjust it so that I could hear.

I purchased the behind-the-ear style, which was what was recommended, and there's quite a difference. My hearing is not 100% but it’s about 80%. Sometimes I still have to have some people repeat what they said but that’s natural because it’s just repetition and past experience. Overall though, I’m very happy with Miracle-Ear and I’ve recommended it to some people. I’m happy with the quality of the hearing aid and the girls there are really helpful. He knew you by name and knew exactly what to do every time you went in. However, when I went back the last time, he wasn’t there and they had somebody filling in. There was no question in my mind that she was an alcoholic. She’s only about 40 years old and her hands shook. She didn’t wanna do anything except get through with the appointment and get me passed off. That was a bad experience there, but all the ones before that were very good.
We moved up to the little country, to the Saint Lawrence River, and the closest Miracle-Ear representative was about two hours away. At the same time, I got a message from Blue Cross Blue Shield that they were sponsoring and subsidizing hearing aids through here and out of Utah, I was able to get Phonak’s Hearing Aids for less than $3,000 and those from Miracle-Ear were gonna be eight. I no longer have Miracle-Ear but I had a good experience with them.

I had trouble when I was at a meeting and when I was in a large room because I couldn't hear what was going on. Also, my husband doesn't hear and he didn't wanna do anything about it. First he tried one kind of hearing aid and when he chewed, it made a terrible noise so I didn't do anything. The Miracle-Ear branch was in Lower Michigan, where I live. I was very happy with the customer service. They were prompt and polite. If you have any problems, then you tell them what you are experiencing and they tell you what to do. There are different programs and when I first started out I didn't know and until you've used it for a while, you don't know what works best for you. They had us come back and that's very important. The hearing aid is simple and it is easy for me to do the batteries and put them in. It's easy for me to understand what actually was said.

My hearing is still doing well since I’ve got the Miracle-Ear hearing aids. I was having a hard time hearing anybody. I knew people were saying things and I can hear them, but I was mixing up the words. I had seen the Miracle-Ear advertisement on TV and I wanted to see. And at the time, they had had a special going. I bought the one that goes in your ear. I like it because it's hidden. The team who helped me explained everything to me and I still go for my check-ups. The hearing aids are really good and I like them.

I had been with Miracle-Ear for a long time but I was very dissatisfied. Whenever my hearing changed to where I couldn't hear the bass tones, they never could get it to where I could hear those. I couldn't hear a lot of the movies on the TV. I couldn't hear the men on there talking. Miracle-Ear had a deal for something that is pinned to the back of your TV. It’s a triangular box and it pairs with your hearing aids. Once I got that, I could hear everything on the TV just fine. The only problem I had with that was that when I had it on the TV setting, I couldn't hear people talking to me.
The hearing aids I had were top-of-the-line too. They were over my ears. They have a low piece that went in my ear and then the speaker was right behind that ear. The people at Miracle-Ear did everything they could to try to perfect my hearing. They just couldn't. My husband has a low voice and in a lot of times, he would talk to me and I wouldn’t even acknowledge that he had said anything. But I don’t have that problem with him now. My husband was with Carson’s and he wanted me to go with them. I said I would go just to satisfy him. I didn’t figure that could do any better but they did great. With their hearing aids, I can hear everything perfectly, even the men.

I'm one of those military veterans from the 60s who didn't have any hearing protection, so my hearing loss has been progressive and when I started, it was about 35%, but it’s probably more than that now. I am totally deaf in one ear due to surgical removal of the middle ear, but the good ear kept getting worse and it was about 30% when I saw Miracle-Ear. I chose Miracle-Ear because of their reputation and I've always gotten the behind-the-ear hearing aid style, but ultimately now, I have a cross over. I have a hearing aid in the deaf air, but what it does is gather the sound on that side of my head and transmit it to the other hearing aid, which then processes it and gives it to me in 360 degree of sound. It's amazing. We are always tweaking the hearing aid because it's mechanical. It's not my normal ears, so it’s not a body part, which would naturally adjust to the circumstance. There is always something going on, but overall, it is 100%.
Having the hearing aids makes my life a lot easier, especially living with my bride of 44 years to keep the television not so loud. I had many years without any hearing aid and I had to compensate for what was going on on the other side of me. I was standing in front of the class of 20 or 25 people and I had to remember to keep looking to my right because I can't hear anybody that said anything over there. I had to be careful about that, so I learned to listen very carefully. But adding the first hearing aid was amazing.
I discovered that I could actually hear functionally in my right ear, so I mentioned that in passing to the doctor and the doctor did a couple of tests. He said, "What you were getting, your nerve in that ear is perfectly alive. It's just the mechanics that don't work. So you just gotta pass the sound and you're able to hear it." He also said, "I can give you a hearing aid in that ear." They did, but it was low-tech, more than 30 years ago. But it gave me hearing on the bad side. Then, the good side started to get bad and the whole thing was analog, which is the primitive version, not digital. I made it work for all those years, but I went to Miracle-Ear and that's when I discovered the crossover system. I've kinda grown up over three or four decades with all different kinds of levels of hearing and hearing aids, but I'm happy now.
My interactions with the Miracle-Ear team have been phenomenal. The seller that takes care of me is professional and runs a great office, and he's top line. I have had some trouble with the Miracle-Ear instrument, but they have twice replaced it for me. There is no trouble with the company. They were very reactive to take care of business.

My hearing loss was too bad. It was a partial loss at certain frequencies and after taking the hearing test, I found out it was a little worse than I thought. I got a 5-dollar gift card or some darn thing for something in Walmart in the mail. It said to come in for a free hearing check and I've had good luck with all the people I dealt with there at Miracle-Ear. They've been great. I also don't ever have any problems with the hearing aids themselves and I ended up having to use them most of the time.
My hearing aid goes behind my ear and has the batteries and the plug that goes in my ear with the speaker there. I went with one of the cheaper models, although they said that they've got more flexibility on the setting of one of the more expensive ones. I haven't had too much trouble with programming two different programs -- one that goes to where I should be having and one lower setting if it was bothering me, which it was okay at a restaurant setting or where there's a lot of background noise. Nothing helps out with the wind though.
My interactions with the sales and customer service teams at Miracle-Ear have been very good. I have never gone in except for regular appointments for cleaning and to check out the hearing aid. They make sure everything is working the way it is supposed to and they keep me up to date. If I wanted to take a look at it, they'd set it up. Right now, I'm looking at the end of the factory warranty on mine, so I'm gonna have to figure out what to do for care. The reps have been really great about everything. They are nice people to work with and to talk to. I never had a problem with them.
With the hearing aid, my hearing has louder volume and it is clearer. I know I'm hearing things and I can tell it. I work with my neighbor out in the field, but when I do that, I don't need the hearing aids. I don't need to amplify the noise, which was most of what I've gotten out there. That's not gonna do me any good. I've got a Bluetooth that I wear for my cellphone all the time, which means I'd have one hearing aid taken out anyway. When we get to travel and back and forth, I just get in the car and go. And when I don't have my hearing aids with me, I can really tell the difference. I am not hearing what's going on like I will with them. I'd recommend to somebody who needed or wanted to get checked out, to get hearing aids.

I had a hearing impairment. I didn't wanna have hearing aids, and then I started noticing at work that when people were soft-spoken, I was having trouble hearing them. Also, I perform improvisational theater, and I was having a hard time hearing the audience and that triggered me to then seek out hearing aids. I was aware of Miracle-Ear and what got me was I could have myself assessed for free versus having to go to some of the other offices where I'd have to pay and then get reimbursed through insurance. I just wanted to make it quick and I knew that Miracle-Ear would be able to test me.
The people at Miracle-Ear are highly professional and kind. They break things down to educational level so you really understand what's happening to your hearing. They give very good follow-through and follow-ups. They really seem to care about their patient. However, while the technology is so great, they're so expensive and insurance covers so poorly or not at all. Otherwise, Miracle-Ear is everywhere. They've been great, too. I recently made a recommendation that my friends call Miracle-Ear. They're highly trained, they understand the issues people that have hearing issues have, and they do their best to get you what you need.

My hearing is atrocious and the people at Miracle-Ear spend a lot of time to try to get things right. They chose my hearing aids for me and I hear better with it. I was kind of forced into using hearing aids since I have a commercial driver’s license and I have to get a physical every year. I have to pass the hearing exam, which I was not passing. Without the hearing aids, I would put the television sound at 100 but with the hearing aids, I’m down to 38.
Unfortunately, I still have trouble with noisy situations. I hate going to restaurants. I would hear the whole table and I only get confused because I hear everything and I hear nothing at the same time, there’s so much going on that I can’t make sense of it. I intend to work on that and I’m hoping to get at least another couple of years out of these hearing aids before I have to go for an upgrade. I've had them for about three years and the people at Miracle-Ear work really, really hard with me. As expensive as these things were, in the long run, it’s probably not that expensive when you consider all the time that they spend with me.

I was having trouble hearing and I had hearing aids to try to help. I've seen at least four or five Miracle-Ear staff and they were very nice most of the time. However, they don't have steady staff. People come and go. They only have one person one time and another person the next time so you don't see the same person and you don't get the feedback from that one person. Also, if I did not get hearing aids from Miracle-Ear, I probably would have gone someplace else because they are very expensive and I haven't had good luck with them.
The hearing aids were okay when they were working. I can hear a lot better, especially the television set. When I get up in the morning and just watch TV without my hearing aids, I have a difficult time understanding what they're saying. And then later on the day, after I get dressed and so forth, I put the hearing aids in and I can hear the television a lot better.
The staff tried the certain type of insert as far as my ear was concerned, but I couldn't get them to work so they went to a larger earpiece. I can get them in and out without any trouble. We paid $4,000 for them. However, I have been back to get the hearing aids adjusted at least 10 times.because all of a sudden, they didn't work. I had to go back and have them fixed. You just get an appointment, you go in and sit down, and then they take your hearing aid. They go into another room, they come back and it's fixed. But it's aggravating that you pay that much money and then they don't work. Also, I was told the last time I was there that once the time goes out, that I may have to pay for the idea of having it fixed and that could be very expensive.

He said it was already on my way but I never got that thing. I went over to Miracle-Ear then Laura, one of their reps, showed me several models and I selected their over-the-ear hearing aid. It was more money than I thought it’s gonna be, but it's of good quality. I also got some good service in their Midland office. But one of the things I’ve noticed is that they can be adjusted and I'm trying to get into a frequency band. And when going back for cleaning and checking out, a lot of companies would charge you but Miracle-Ear doesn't do that. Their salespeople seem very knowledgeable as well. They really helped me with all aspects of getting a hearing aid. What I got is behind-the-ear and there is a lead that goes to the inner ear. And it's made a lot of difference. Again she asked for her money back. Both were within the 30 day full money back refund time limit. He again refused and wanted to try another pair. The 3rd paid caused an allergic reaction and made her ears itch. She had to go to the dr to get medication for it to stop. I couldn't hear clearly and I tried an appointment with Miracle-Ear. I was very impressed with what I learned that day. The first person I talked to was Monty and I'm very impressed with his knowledge and how he talked about the product and what it could do. He talked about the many different kinds of hearing aids. I got a hearing aid with a part that sits on top of my ear and a part that sits inside. It's so comfortable that I usually forget that it's there.
I also see a young lady from Miracle-Ear who has just gotten her hearing specialist degree, and she's wonderful. I love the follow-up. I can go in any time. If I break a little piece, they fix it. I go in every couple of months, and they do a really good cleaning. We talk about how things are going. That's one of the most important things to me, and it's been fabulous.
The cost of the hearing aids was a shock and no insurance pays for it. But they last long, like three to five years. If you spread the cost out, it's not so bad. I used to have to ask my husband to turn the TV up a little bit. If I would be sitting in the backseat and he and my daughter were in the front seat and I couldn't always hear what they said. My husband is a person, though, who talks into his chest, talks to the hand in front of his face, mumbles a lot, so he's always been difficult to hear. I first talked to my ear, nose, and throat doctor who suggested going through them, and just couldn't work things out with that situation. And then, I had a friend who was using Miracle-Ear for years and he talked about the multiple locations all over the place and how easy it was to walk in there if you needed parts and pieces, and cleaning, and everything else, and that drove me to purchase Miracle-Ear. Several years ago my wife and I both needed help for our hearing, and we got it from Miracle-Ear, and we're happy with it. However, I'm not sure if it's them or me. I'm having difficulty getting the right adjustments. I've been there as often as once a quarter, trying to get it to be right. The advantages of Miracle-Ear is being able to go and get it fixed. My hearing is changing so the device has to be constantly adjusted.
However, it's 1000% mark-up is crazy. I'm happy that it's continued service, but I'm somewhat disappointed that it takes as much as service as it does. In my estimation as an engineer, you're talking about maybe on the outside 300 to 400 almost retail price of electronics and manufacturing costs are nil. And so, maybe it's $500 at the factory, and when you're selling a product that at the factory costs 500 bucks to 5,000 bucks, that's outrageous. So if I had any negative comments about the product, it's the price. If that's a business decision that they have made, I guess, they've gotten away with it for a long time. I've never bothered to find out whether Miracle-Ear is actually manufacturing a product or whether they're buying it from some Asian company at outrageous prices. But they need to find a new supplier.
Nevertheless, the hearing aids are nice. There are times over the course of a given month when I literally have to remove the hearing aids because I hear better without them. But there are also times when if I don't have the hearing aids on, I can't hear a damn thing. But then, the person that I have dealt with all these years is great. He tries to please, and he's a good guy. I'm very pleased with his service.

Something is always wrong with it and they charge a lot of money to fix it. With Miracle-Ear, if something goes wrong with it, usually it just needed some cleaning with those little cotton swabs, to clean the air ducts out. They don’t charge anything for it and they come with the purchase of the product.
Their customer service is great and it’s a friendly crowd. Everybody I’ve dealt with there has been nice, warm, and helpful. I have severe hearing loss. In one ear, it's very bad, about 85%. In the other ear, I have 40%. Previously, I had an experience with a hearing aid company and I wasn't happy with them. Thereafter, I contacted Miracle-Ear as they were fairly close to where I live. I purchased a behind-the-ear hearing aid from them. With it, a wire goes into my ear with a custom-fit earpiece on one side for my ear with severe hearing loss and a generic fitter on the other side. Both pieces are digital and they're pretty good.
At Miracle-Ear, their reps were always positive. There was an older gentleman there named Gary who was very friendly and personable. He explained everything very well to me. However, the next time I went back there, Gary had died and since then, I've worked with a younger woman who took over his position. She has been very pleasant and professional.
I also liked that Miracle-Ear's reps haven't tried to oversell me too much. However, I find that their hearing aids should be half the cost. A lot of old people have some kind of hearing loss and hearing aids are not covered by any insurance. I've had mine for three years and they have needed constant tweaking to make them work okay. Nevertheless, with my hearing aids from Miracle-Ear, I can hear things better. I still have problems with clarity but then things are louder. I can hear things but I'm still not sure what people are actually saying. If it wasn't for closed captioning on TV, I would watch any television because I can't understand anything that people are saying.

My hearing was failing. Also, I drive a semi and I knew before the year that I got the hearing aids that I was going to be in need of them before my next physical exam. Miracle-Ear's price was right and I liked the quality of their hearing aids. At the time that I went in, Michelle, the gal that runs the office here in West Bend, happened to have a set of used ones there that were very lightly-used and that was what I got. I have them now for two years and I'm very happy with them. They're the ones that has the cover that fits in on them that way. They serve the purpose, so I got that model. Michelle and I talked about getting the formed inserts that fit into the ears so that they fit a little better but I haven’t made up my mind on that yet. I'm semi-retired now and at the time that I bought the hearing aids, I was just coming off from a Workman’s Comp injury and I have been off work for three months.
Michelle has been excellent as far as the service for the hearing aids, checking them, and making sure that they’re working the way they should be on all follow-ups. Miracle-Ear's team is A plus rated and I’ve referred several other people to them. As a matter of fact, the dad of a lady that lives with me has hearing aids but his come through the VA and she couldn't find anybody to clean them on occasion and to check them to make sure that they’re working. I told her to go down and give Miracle-Ear a call, and she did. She’s been going down there every three or four months to get them cleaned and checked, and they're happy with Miracle-Ear. They have helped my life. No hearing aid is perfect and driving a semi is very hard on hearing aids. But they're good for what I use them for. Sometimes when I’m on my cellphone, it does affect them a little bit, but it all depends on where I’m at and when I’m on the phone.

A lot of people who have hearing aids say, “I never have this before.” Even in a crowd or in a restaurant, I’ve never had that before and I considered myself lucky.

My mom has always been deaf on her right ear, since she was a baby. Her other ear is great, but she's 84 now and if there's too much background noise, like on the street or with four or five conversations going on, she couldn't really hear anything. She's only getting little bits of words, not the full sentence, which is frustrating because she wasn't participating, being social. So, we decided to give Miracle-Ear a shot, having seen it on TV and in the magazine. All of the staff and the doctors that we had at Miracle-Ear are absolutely wonderful. The staff is great as far as making appointments, or even if I have to move it. Everybody's very cordial, friendly and professional. My mom goes back, the staff clean the hearing aids and they give her batteries. It's been great.
The hearing aids cost a lot of money though, especially because most people that need them are older and are usually on fixed income. So, maybe the company could lower the cost or slide scale as far as what people get monthly, like some people get a lot, some people don't. Nevertheless, those hearing aids have really done wonders for my mom. She can now hear in church and when people are having conversations, even if she's walking on the street and there's traffic going on. She's able to answer people now because she hears them. Before, she would just smile. So, it's engaging and she's now more social.

My husband had hearing aids, but they didn’t work out well as it needs to. We went to Miracle-Ear and got a hearing aid that is across the back of his ear with a little thin almost visible wire going inside of his ear. The overall functionality and performance is excellent and he thinks it’s wonderful. My husband is happier whenever we are in a crowd because he can focus on one person and hear that person and not have to hear the whole crowd. Also, the reps have always been very helpful and very efficient. The cost is high, but it’s worth it because of how well it works. I recommend Miracle-Ear and I did quite often.

I had an accident and the eject of the airbags stopped my hearing. My high tones were lost, but my lower tone was okay. I could hear but I have problems and the biggest problem I have is that if you say, "What," I might say anything and I can't clarify the word sometimes. I had severe hearing loss but not totally. I went to about four different hearing aid companies. A friend of mine went to Miracle-Ear and had her hearing aid from them. I valued her judgment a lot and I chose Miracle-Ear. They have been fantastic. I liked the reputation that they built and the people were very friendly and very good. Armstrong and Carol have really been great and I really appreciate them. Anytime I have a problem, they are there. I never felt like I was a burden when I had a problem and came in, so I was really impressed with how they handled matters in answering my questions that I've had. The customer relationship was really fantastic.
I got one of their better hearing aids and it was worth $5,000. It is behind-the-ear and goes into the canal. I still have some problem with hearing, but it might be because no hearing aid can really pick it with certain words. I hear a little differently. I went to an audiologist and that was one of the problems that I had. Sometimes, I hear one thing but it means something else. It was not really bad, though, and Armstrong said it was something that really couldn't be corrected. The problem is that if you can't hear clearly, it can make it very difficult for my spouse or other people that are talking. It's not perfect now, but, at least, it’s better. The hearing aid has helped me so that I'm able to converse and communicate in a more accurate way.

My hearing was pathetic then I got in the mail that Miracle-Ear was doing free hearing tests so I went over at Harford County Mall. Jim met me and he told me all the benefits and hooked me up on a machine. He was a great guy. I told him that I will not be walking around with a hearing aid so he put a couple of test units in my ears and we walked around the mall. I was astonished and amazed by the things I could hear. They have moved to Fallston and I also dealt with Michelle who is the lady at the desk. Jim and Michelle are congenial and helpful people who I have dealt with in a long time. Nick was also very helpful and very understanding if there was a problem. Their staff are extremely pleasant to work with. They've done a great job and I appreciate their assistance.
My hearing aids were getting old and they weren't attunable so they got me some new ones and I'm very pleased with them also. They go behind the ear and are plugged in. When I first got the new set, I had problems with the unit in the right ear. They took it back a couple of times and we re-adjusted it. I had to sent it back to the company. Moreover, hearing aids are extremely expensive and there is some micro-technology involved in everything. They are amplifiers for $500 and it is about 10% of what we are paying for a good set. I am on a fixed income and I think about every penny I spend. But so far, the hearing aids improved 60% of my hearing. I go on my TV from 13 down to 8 and I still hear it the same way my wife hears it.

I also read some information about Miracle-Ear and they had good reviews so I decided to go that route. The interactions with the Miracle-Ear reps were very good. They went through a lot of details with educating me and making sure that I wore them like I needed to, and what I could expect.
I went with the hearing aid style that goes behind the ear and it works very well. I also got the application on my smartphone and it was helpful to use. It was a learning process on how to turn the hearing aids up and down. However, I noticed that after I had already purchased my hearing aids, there were some hearing aids that could help me focus in different surrounding areas. If I'm in a crowded area, I can get it where I can focus on the conversation, like at the table. That's the only thing that I wish I would have at least tried. The hearing aids that I have now doesn't have those capabilities. Nevertheless, the ones I have now are still working out really well for me. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the experience that I had with Miracle-Ear and I'm very happy with my hearing aids. It really helped me out a lot. My hearing loss was small enough that I did not even notice it, however, my wife did. She thought my hearing had gone down and said that the hearing thing available at Miracle-Ear doesn’t cost anything. We met the people at the Miracle-Ear shop here locally and, along with the hearing aid testing, we fell in love with them too. If we were gonna buy something, we’ll get it from them. They cared about us as people. It was not a matter of, “Okay, we’ll give you this test and then try to sell you a hearing aid.” It was a matter of, “We’ll give you this test, but let me learn a little bit about you, what you think the problem is and how your wife would describe it and how you feel about it.” It was 100% personal touch. Both Nicole, who did the testing, and Katherine, her receptionist, were like, “We want to know you as a person, not just sell you something.”
I got a Genius hearing aid. There were lots of different options, but it was suggested to me. Nicole felt it would work best for me in my situation with what I do for a living and all the different things that she checked on in the people to people type of plot. She decided to tell me what she thought was best. Nicole has been an absolute gem as far as I’m concerned because she made sure that we understood that if this did not work, we could change it to something else without it becoming a major problem in any way, shape or form, so we went for it. The price of hearing aids always costs more than you want them to, but if you need them, you better be willing to pay whatever the price is right.
At first, I did not notice any difference in my hearing with the aids or without them for probably most of the month. Then, one day, I was in a situation with lots of people around me and I realized I heard and understood what each of them was saying and doing. I had not been able to catch all that information for some time. I work with about five different people, doing different things in the kitchen and talking, and I didn’t realize how much I have not heard until I, all of a sudden, heard it very clearly.
I have recommended Miracle-Ear more than once. I belong to a local business group and I have already invited Nicole to meet some of my fellow business people. This was a case where I thought she was such a sweet lady and an obviously very good businesswoman, and that was a combination that the business organization I belong to would just love to have.

Bill from Miracle-Ear was as good as they get and explained everything real thoroughly. Whenever I have any questions or any problems he always takes care of it.
So if they could eliminate that moisture, I’d be thrilled with it. The other problem that I have is sometimes as far as hearing goes, the background noise is very annoying. But those are the only two things that I can complain about. My mother-in-law also went over there, and she got one of the new models. There were certain things that I couldn't hear and my mom's hearing loss was more profound than mine. We learned from my father before he passed away not to wait too long to get hearing aids. My father waited too long to get his, so when all of a sudden he heard sounds that he didn't hear before, it drove him nuts. Half the time, he would not wear his hearing aids because it caused too much anxiety for him. We learned not to wait until you get used to the sound of silence and you have to get hearing aids while the brain can still connect and get used to it.
From the other hearing aid places that we went to, the representative at the Altamonte Springs Miracle-Ear did a fantastic presentation which made me understand what was happening. Richard explained in more detail how the mind turns off the sound where you get used to it. Then, as you slowly lose it, the nerve endings in your ears start to die off and not catch all the sounds. He was very, very knowledgeable. I went with the cheapest and biggest size behind-the-ear hearing aids while my mother went with the smaller and rechargeable kind.
The most upsetting part of the whole process, however, is the fact that the hearing aids cost so much that it really puts us in a bind. It was just more than retirees can afford, but you have to have them. I had to take out a loan to get them, but I wanted to get them with Richard because I felt I just trusted him and the product better. It could've been cheaper with Costco or Sam’s Club, but I don't think it would have been any better of a product. Also, the fact that Miracle-Ear doesn't charge for the check-ups and they clean them makes us feel that we got our money's worth. The receptionist at their store, Alex, was super sweet too. There was also a girl that was in training and she was sweet. She helped us with the cleaning process when we would come in for our check-ups. My mom and I have our hearing aids for both a year now and we're both happy with them. We've adapted much, much quicker to having hearing aids.

My hearing loss was pretty significant and I was not aware of it. I know I was starting to not hear things that people would be speaking in regular volume and I was having a hard time picking up. I would miss certain words and I knew it was time to go somewhere and get some help. I did some research into different companies and I thought Miracle-Ear served the greater of all of the ones that I looked at. And once I engaged into it, I am convinced that I made the right decision.
I had my hearing tested by Miracle-Ear, and they told me that it was not a tremendous loss but enough loss to make sense for me to get hearing aids. I did and I was thankful because I hear much better now. It makes life a little easier. I got the ones where they have little rubber, soft tips that look like kind of a mushroom on the tip. It fits into my ear pretty well and I can push it in pretty deep. I got the gray one because I got gray hairs around my temple and it blends in with my hairline which is nice. I’m very happy with them. I've gone to their outlet to get my ears cleaned for good sound and make sure that they’re healthy. I had a new person which gave me a lot of good information. I was happy with the new person but it was only for a day because I’ll be getting another new person coming in to be my regular person. The first person who assisted me was also good and I’m sure the next person will be just as good.
I recently had my hearing aids cleaned and I spoke with the young fellow that serviced me. He’s been around five years with Miracle-Ear. The hearing aids I have are about four years old and there’s a lot of difference in technology since I've had them. He told me that maybe I should go to the next level, for the technology level and I will consider that for next year.
The whole experience with Miracle-Ear has been excellent. I’m also a customer service type person so I know when customer service is good because I tried to give that same value to my customers. Miracle-Ear has been nothing but honest and forthcoming. I’m actually looking forward to going there because I know the service is that good. My wife also wears hearing aids but she wears something from another company, and I have instructed her to get hearing aids from Miracle-Ear within the next year. I would recommend Miracle-Ear to anybody that has a hearing problem and I would feel very good about doing it. They got a great product and a good pricing for it. I’m glad I made the decision to go with Miracle-Ear.

I had a very bad experience with my first set of hearing aids with another company. Their support service was atrocious, and they probably were the wrong hearing aids. I went with Miracle-Ear because they advertise, promote, they have a local store, and they gave me a hearing test. I also decided to go with them because of the frustration to go with the Cadillac, the best one.
Initially, I was really quite disappointed with them. I had a lot of bugaboos with the product in the beginning. The Cadillac that I bought which was an $8000 hearing aids didn’t stay in right. It fit terrible ‘till I got this plastic molding they fit, which measured 250 bucks extra at that point. But that made a substantial difference as far as hearing ‘cause the hearing aids stayed in. In my opinion, that should have been included initially for the cost of it. I wasn’t aware and I filed a complaint. They said that they could put that fitted earpiece in. They would measure you, send it to Miracle-Ear, and they would make a mold that they attach. If they marketed that right and sold it right and explained it from the get-go, it would probably help a lot of their customers.
I'm at the point where I'm frustrated with Miracle-Ear. But they’re an aid, they’re not a cure and I’m aware of that. There are a lot of products that are marketed considerably less in price. At this point, I made a heavy investment. The fellow that sold it to me that ran the store before didn't do a good job in my book. Then they changed where I’m at and the manager serviceperson, Carrie, made a big difference. The poor lady was running two stores but she is excellent. When I met a problem, Miracle-Ear took care of it.

I only wish they get together with Apple and be able to have these hearing aids linked directly to the iPhone, like Starkey does. You don’t need a third-person or a third-party app to function. It just automatically connects. Nevertheless, I was finally able to understand what everybody was saying to me because Miracle-Ear. It wasn’t that I couldn’t hear others before getting the device but I was misunderstanding what they were saying.

Miracle-Ear had an office close by where I live and I purchased a behind-the-ear hearing aid from them since I have a minor hearing loss. It helped me be able to hear a bit better and they were comfortable to wear. However, the right hearing aid didn’t work well when I got it. We sent it to them a couple of times for repair but they were not really fixed. I think the hearing aid was defective.

My family members told me that I seem to be losing my hearing. They said I did not understand unless they spoke really loud, so I had my hearing tested. I had hearing loss in both ears so I picked out a hearing aid. I went with Miracle-Ear since they were available. I got the small hearing aid where one port fits behind the ear and the other one goes in the ear.
Hearing aids make hearing more possible but they lack a lot when it comes to normal, natural hearing. I can hear better but they're not all they're cracked up to be. A lot of times, they’ll buzz out if I have been asleep and there is usually a lot of noise. They would be a lot better if I could get them adjusted correctly. Also, I lost a good bit of hearing in my right ear and this seems to be continuing. I went to Miracle-Ear and saw a person there this past week. I told him that there was a lot of squealing in my right ear and he put a big tip on one end and he hoped that would take care of the squealing. That took care of some of it, but my hearing aid still squeals a lot.
I have been going to the Miracle-Ear stores in Bluefield, Virginia and in Surf City, North Carolina. The one in Bluefield, Virginia worked on the adjustment of the hearing aid. The rep made an effort but she did not move as much as the rep here. Although they worked on the adjustment, my hearing aid is still squealing, even if it helps me hear. It squeals when I sit down to watch television on the couch or in the chair and lean my head back. My head or my hair might be rubbing it. Nevertheless, Miracle-Ear did well all in all and the amount of hearing that I gained from using them far outweighs the inconveniences.

I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and my Miracle-Ear representative is in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Ben really struck me as someone who knew what he was talking about and someone who cared. I started with them when I bought my hearing aids, and then moved two hours to the east. But I still go back to see Ben because that’s how impressed I am with him. As I get older, my hearing gets worse, and Ben walked me through that. I got better products now so my hearing is almost acceptable. I never ever go without my hearing aids.
The hearing aids from Miracle-Ear are very expensive. If I were to get my hearing aids through the university, it’d be a lot less expensive. But my buddy's hearing aids are just crap. So I’m very impressed with my hearing aids. At first, I wanted to just have ear buds. But now, as I get older, I’ve needed to up the power of my hearing aids so I’ve got inserts. Miracle-Ear helps me every single time I need help. Right now, I’m having a bit of a problem with my GENIUSlink when it gets in the sanctuary where they have a radio frequency to work with other people’s hearing aids. It interferes with the GENIUSlink.

I talked to my son about going to Miracle-Ear and he took me there. I met the doctor and had a checkup. Then, I decided to buy my hearing aid from there. After using it, I feel much better and I can hear what people say. The difference I can see after using it is that I have no problem with hearing and talking with people. It’s very useful when I am in a group or when I am at home with my grandkids.
The customer service reps at Miracle-Ear have been doing a very good job and I like the doctor very much. Their service has been very good and and amazing. When I went there, the receptionist or the person sitting at the front desk had changed. But whenever I went there, I liked very much the way the doctor dealt with me. He gave me a thorough checkup, cleaned my hearing aid, and gave it back. The quality of the hearing aids that I received is very good. Although it costs a little bit more than other hearing aids, what I have now serves its purpose, so I am happy about it. I am thoroughly satisfied with Miracle-Ear.

With Miracle-Ear, I hear things that I hadn’t heard in a long time and I can hear a deer coming a lot better when I’m out in the woods. But they’re awfully expensive. You spend over $6,000 for two little hearing aids, which is a lot of money. Other than that, it fits very well in my ears and the batteries hold up pretty good. I read an article that you should take the batteries out of the hearing aid at night. So that’s what I’ve been doing and it has lengthened the battery life. Also, the folks from where I bought the hearing aids are always really nice to me, and the lady that tested my hearing is just a sweetheart.

Miracle-Ear's advertising sounded like it was a company that was responsible, and knew what they were doing. So, I was confident in their ability to check my hearing. Their sales and customer service teams were excellent and professional. I worked with Michael and he was really professional. He interacts very well with his clients. He only found a deficit in one ear, so I only had one hearing aid there. Since that time, I have gone to the VA, and the VA has supplied me with a set of hearing aids, which are all very good also. So, right now, I’m using their product. VA is cheaper, and Miracle-Ear is a little bit on the expensive side. But given their product, I can understand why. Their product is excellent. If I needed to go some place to get a hearing aid, I'm going to Miracle-Ear.

I heard of other people going to Miracle-Ear who were really satisfied with them, so I also got hearing aids from Miracle Ear and that straightened me right out. I had a pair for seven years and now I'm on my second pair. My hearing aids are over-the-ear, it's the top of the line, and it's the one that hooks to your phone. I wanted a good model and it was similar to the one I had that was seven years old, so I traded those in for my new ones. I'm also satisfied with Miracle-Ear's customer service rep. You can call him anytime you wanna call him and he answers the phone. But I've had a couple occasions where I've called him when we wasn't in the office. Still, he's a really good fellow. Miracle Ear's service has been excellent, too. I know they're expensive but their product is a good one. I'm extremely satisfied with them and I won't go anyplace else.

I had a pituitary tumor when I was in my 20s. I was radiated for six weeks because I couldn’t take it out and it affected my hearing, which went downhill for a long time. So I got hearing aids in California but they didn’t work very well. Then when I got here and heard about Miracle-Ear, I went in and I was offered new hearing aids which worked very nicely for a while. Since then, I have gotten a new style of hearing aids and have used them for about a week now.
Miracle-Ear adjusts my hearing aids for me when I go in for regular check-ups. They also make adjustments If I’m not hearing everything I want to hear. Shawn and the receptionist at Miracle-Ear are very nice people, too. Shawn helped me understand my hearing loss and that I have to wear my hearing aids if I wanna hear. I was putting them in when I went to places where I wasn’t hearing very well and keeping them out the rest of the time. Now, I wear them all the time except when I’m in bed.
With my new hearing aids, everything is smaller and I can hear better than when I had my older ones. They seem outrageously expensive but they’re worth it. With them, I have state-of-the-art hearing ability and they allow me to hear well even people with quiet voices and on the telephone. And it's for the same price as what I paid for my hearing aids 12 years ago in California, which weren’t good. What I have now is the latest thing and it really is making a difference.

I liked Miracle-Ear's location of facility, the care, the service that I felt I was gonna get from the technician, and overall, what I had researched on the other customers’ responses to how well their units worked. My hearing loss was very bad, and since having my Miracle-Ear hearing aids, I can definitely hear a lot better. I owned a retail store, so there were a lot of phone calls and personal conversations with people. So, that was difficult, but the hearing aids definitely solved the problem.
This past weekend, my left hearing aid stopped working. That was on a Sunday and I called them on Monday morning, and they said, “Fine. Can you come in this afternoon?” I was surprised it was that quick. So, within five minutes, Amanda had it taken care of, and I was back on the road and hearing as good as normal. So, she’s been an exceptional tech that I’ve been seeing now for the last couple of years.
My Miracle-Ear hearing aids are not cheap, but so far, the value that I get from the hearing quality is worth the expense to me. My life has substantially improved. I'm no longer frustrated and I'm able to carry on conversations with people. Prior to that, it was always difficult. I sorta backed away because I couldn’t hear what they were asking or telling me. Also, now with these adjustable hearing aids, by altering the program, I’m able to hear things in a large auditorium or a concert-type scenario as well.

I tried a couple of different styles but the one I got now, the Genius, is the best one so far. The others weren't very good at all and I can do the thing online with this one where I couldn't with the others.
When I started with Miracle Ear, the original person I went to wasn't very good and they ended up firing her. But the one I got now is fine and I don't have any trouble at all. Their customer service reps have been pretty good and they've done whatever I needed to be done to my hearing aid. I was born with a hearing impairment. And I’ve been to numerous specialists over the years. It has become progressively worse in recent years and with the advancement in technology, I've decided to take the bull by the horns and do something about it. I did some research and ended up choosing Miracle-Ear in Alpharetta, Georgia. A lot of the other companies didn’t have the longevity in the market to make me feel comfortable that they were worth talking to.
I needed something that was fully programmable. Low-frequency sounds were naturally amplified to me, but I couldn't naturally hear any consonant sounds, which was where I needed help. And the ME-1 seems to do that very well. I can hear normal conversations now and I don’t have to look at people when I talk to them. I'm able to function better in my job, interact with my clients, and not have people repeat things so much. Now, people tell me to speak up because now that I can hear, I don’t speak as loudly as I used to and I also have to tell people to keep the noise down.
Wearing the hearing aid is something that takes time to get used to but now, I’ve gotten used to hearing that I get really nervous if I don’t have them with me. I am also able to adjust my hearing to different physical environments. I can switch to the noisy environment program in certain situations and still have the ability to hear without having any pain due to environmental amplification through reverberation. It's also Bluetooth-enabled and I have the Bluetooth pods around my neck so I can control it through my phone. I wear it at least 16 hours a day and make very heavy use of Bluetooth connections because I’m constantly on my computer, and I am able to switch between devices without having to switch equipment.
The Miracle-Ear hearing aids are expensive, but the cost has been commensurate with the quality of the product plus the service that I’ve gotten after the sale. When I first engaged Miracle-Ear, the customer service rep was very nice and responsive. And the franchisee, Wilson, is a very good representative of the brand. He was very candid about everything. He was also very aboveboard and forthcoming with the features and costs and there was never any indication of understatement of facts or misrepresentation.
I go in for quarterly maintenance or as I need it, and Wilson always encourages me to call him if I have an issue before my next scheduled appointment and he is available when I have an issue. I have this really severe wax problem so sometimes, I need more maintenance than a typical customer might. A couple of weeks ago, I was driving and my ear was itching. I pulled on it funny and it got dislodged, but we had gotten that taken care of. In general, I’ve had very good experience with the customer service at Miracle-Ear. And when people have asked me about Miracle-Ear, I’ve told them what I've had.

Somebody there recommended Miracle-Ear because of the young man who is in charge of the local office: Vincent. I tried them and I've had nothing but good experiences with that guy. Though their hearing aids are outrageously expensive, I will be staying with Miracle Ear.
Thus far, I'm very happy with the hearing aids that I got. I have the model that has a transparent little tube that goes in my ear and a battery package that goes behind my ear. I wear very short hair and most people don't know that I'm wearing a hearing aid. Also, I couldn't stand the feeling of the kind of hearing aid that sits the entire unit in my ear. I felt like I was boxed in when both hearing aids were in my ears. With Miracle-Ear's hearing aids, it doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything. I also like that I could have them tuned. One is tuned to my husband's voice which is very soft. The second is tuned to music because I perform and I need that. The third is tuned to the television.
I've had my hearing aids for a while and it has been my third pair over a 20-year span. I hope I won't have to change them for a while as insurance doesn't cover them.
