    I didn't know that I had hearing loss before I contacted Miracle-Ear. I saw them at a show and got my hearing checked there just for fun. I had it double-checked again and got hearing aids. I got the behind-the-ear model and it's not really very comfortable. If they could improve it, it would be great and it can be improved. I didn't have anything in my ear. Customer service has been great, though.

    The Miracle Ear reps were very professional and I'm very well pleased with them. The first person that I worked with was new at it a few years ago and later, I worked with a person by the name of David. He seems to answer nearly all of my questions and if I have an issue, he has been able to fix it, correct it or adjust it. My first set was battery operated where the probe was inserted into the ear canal. This is my third set and they are self-charging, so I've had no problem. The quality is top-notch too. My hearing loss is severe, especially on the different tones, the higher and softer tones. I don't have them in my ears sometimes, but when I wear them, I'm able to hear things that I haven't been able to hear before. The biggest thing is my grandchildren and my daughter. They all have soft voices and it was difficult to hear what they were saying.

    The consultant that I worked with was very good. We tried different ones and the Miracle-Ear Hearing Aids felt the most comfortable at the time. However, it doesn't feel good in my ear. The only time I really need it is when I'm watching TV. Sometimes I have a hard time understanding what they're saying. If only I could get something smaller to put in my ear. We're gonna be making an appointment to see them probably the next week or two. It's just that I've been self-quarantined here.

    Our primary care doctor, Dave, recommended Miracle-Ear for Lawrence. Their reps are super nice, and if you have a problem, they’re right on it. The hearing aid has a tiny globe that goes inside the ear, and the part that controls the TV or talking to me is on the outside, on top of the ear. They're one of the most expensive ones. They’ve been great. I can talk to Lawrence without shouting. Also, he can watch TV and I could have the mute on, and he could still hear it, and I would not have to deal with the TV. I’m very happy with Miracle-Ear.

    Harry lost one of his Miracle-Ear hearing aids and we had to get another one. It wasn’t covered under the warranty because it was refurbished, and then they gave him a different size of hearing aids from the one he already has. So, I’m not very pleased with them at all. I guess they didn’t have another one. It doesn’t work that well anyway. Harry doesn’t hear very well at all. It’s a total waste of money in my opinion. I wish I hadn’t spent the money. I still owe them over $2,000.

    I was wearing hearing aids before but didn’t like the company I got them from. I got a Miracle-Ear coupon in the mail and thought I’ll call them and see about it. I’ve been wearing the behind-the-ear model for three years before and chose that model again. It took some time to get adjusted to the Miracle-Ear's volume ‘cause it seemed to cut out when I was in a large room with people. But customer service kept working with me and letting me come back until we got it to where I was satisfied with it. I would recommend Miracle-Ear to anyone. Without them I couldn’t hear or I wouldn’t be able to hear most of the conversation and what’s going on around me. They’re always friendly and act like you’re a long-time friend.     I'm almost deaf. I did my research. I went to a couple of other companies. I had a company that my insurance would have paid for. But the Miracle-Ear was the only one that went through the step where I could hear. I wanted a level of hearing that I used to have. We tried different hearing aids and the one that goes on the outside of the ear was the only one that gave me what I wanted. I had to spend extra money but it's well worth it. I would have loved to spend less but I gotta hear. I produce trade shows for a living. And with the functionality of this one where I can knock out the background noise, it's the only one that did it.

    I've had issues with mine because it got wet because I was out in the rain. And even during this shutdown, the reps saw that my hearing aids got fixed and I got them back. I deal with people all the time. I'm out in the public constantly. And the customer service or the rep I dealt with is the best I've ever had anywhere, with any experience, bar none. Beyond excellent service.

    My opinion only, my husband has had his hearing aids for about 2 years and every visit he tells them he can’t hear with them. I don’t want to continue to pay for something that isn’t going to help him. By the time they are paid off the cost will be a little over than $4,000.00. When he puts in new batteries that are new from the package they don’t work either. We would like to return them. They are already refurbished hearing aids. I’ve talked to the finance company and after he goes to his next appointment I’m to let them know if the company will take them back.

    First of all, the men hearing aid specialists I've seen never explained anything about how the brain does the hearing not your ears. Never explained about low frequencies for consonants and high frequencies for vowels, etc. B. Matthews said my hearing aids were set wrong. She did such a good job of fixing my hearing aids, I can hear everything now like normal. She is a real asset to Miracle Ear. She was so kind and I could tell she really cared about me as a client and person. I think she is absolutely awesome!

    Purchase these hearing aids 3 and a half years ago. I had to have them returned 3 times for replacements. I had to go 2 weeks while the facto They were recovered under warranty. Now one of the tubes was broken and they wanted $100 to send them off to replace this one tube. I tried to get on their website to complain but they won't even provide a place for feedback. The product is worthless.

    I first received my hearing aids about 8 years ago, I was having problems with them, or better yet, getting adjusted to them. Laura worked with me on how to get use to wearing & using them. Once I learned on how to adjust them they have been great. Cathy a tech in the office helped me get a new pair through OWCP. Then Lori came to work for Laura & she has been great. Very experienced in what she does, gives me the required test & makes adjustments to my hearing aids as needed. So far, Cathy & Lori have gotten me the newest aids that OWCP will allow me to have with my hearing loss-- I understand that Cathy is no longer with the company-- it's a shame, she was good. Lori, as mentioned is also great, she believes in taking care of her customers, helping in making them comfortable with their hearing aids. Since Lori has been around I know I will received professional care.

    I like the Miracle-Ear rep. He is very explanatory and if you ask him a question, he’ll answer it. I had gotten behind-the-ear hearing aids. I’ve had them for about two years, and at the time, they were the top-of-the-line. I like them. I also like the fact that my iPhone works with them. They’re expensive, but from what I can recall from my youth, they recover about 90% of my normal hearing. If I’m not wearing them, I can’t understand what people say at all.

    I have no hearing in my left ear at all. I knew Miracle-Ear Hearing Aids was an old company and I’ve seen their ads. The person who sold the hearing aid was very, very nice. They’re good, but they’re not the best. They need to have their hearing aids adjusted. I’ve been back once for a yearly checkup, but I go every three months for a cleaning and the experience was okay. The cost was extremely high with no insurance coverage, but I’m satisfied so far.

    My husband's cochlear gland on both sides is damaged so he has partial hearing loss. Miracle-Ear's advertising got us started. The rep we dealt with was extremely helpful and very informative. He explained why my husband could not wear a certain type of hearing aid and explained what was the cause of his hearing loss. My husband likes the hearing aids. He won’t be able to recover full hearing, but the hearing aids do help. He’s able to communicate well and he gets along well with them. As seniors, we would love to see the cost drop. But Miracle-Ear is very good about adjustments and any little issue that he has, they’re extremely helpful about being there for him.

    I have a partial hearing loss. I went to the VA because there’s a service connected disability and they wouldn’t help me. They said no. But they did after a time. Two months into it, they fired the young fellow that they had hired there to do this job because of the way he was treating people. The head of the department up there in Winston-Salem, North Carolina got a hold of me and talked to me. And then, I reached out to Miracle-Ear. I’ve had five pairs of them, everything from $5,000 to $7,000. They were actually too much money. but I can’t do it anymore. Their hearing aids don’t work. I have trouble hearing. Now, I only got one hearing aid. One of my hearing aids doesn’t work so I need to see the guy to fix it. But every time I call them, he’s not available or he’s not gonna be in today, he’s gonna be in some place else. I got mad at them.

    I got a brochure through the mail saying Miracle-Ear was 30% off. We went in and talked with them. I needed hearing aids, so we went ahead and got them that day. I’ve got tinnitus, and it was getting worse. Miracle-Ear was not able to eliminate it altogether, but it makes it a lot more tolerable. They were very good. Anthony could zero in the hearing aids to almost eliminate it. He prescribed a style after he gave me the hearing test. With my range of hearing, he recommended that would be the better style for me. He told me when I took the hearing test, he said, “I can’t bring back the hearing that you lost,” but he said he could make the hearing that I have better, and that has been what it’s done. It seems a little clearer. It’s nice to have the different volume levels.

    The reps from Miracle-Ear treated me very well. A lot of other guys went through the VA and I would probably go through the VA if I ever got them again because of the price. It is for free. You can’t beat free. But what Miracle-Ear had done for me such as the adjusting and the different hearing tests, I would have to give them an A-plus. I’ve had them for five years now, and they still continue to work great. So, I’m very well-satisfied with them. Miracle-Ear has done good for me.

    I could hardly hear anything out of my left ear and Miracle-Ear helped me tremendously in the left and right ear. Nothing is foolproof though.     My mother's hearing can be good at some times and bad in others. It all depends on her system. She had MaxEar before and they didn’t work well at all. The Miracle-Ear work a whole lot better. We purchased it a year ago. It was already a year last April. That was when the 12-month, the 0% interest program ended. We got the one that goes inside the canal where the battery is on the outside, but the tube goes inside the ear.

    When she has the hearing aid on, for the most part, she has a much better chance of hearing what we say. Before, we couldn’t always guarantee. There are times when she hears perfectly, but it has always been more of a part of her system as opposed to the hearing aid. There are times when we wish the batteries would last longer, but that’s just a function of all hearing aids. The batteries don’t always last as long as they'd like. But we do take advantage of every three to four months check-in for the hearing aids to get repaired or cleaned out.

    Everything’s right on track with my husband's Miracle-Ear hearing aids and we’re really happy with everything. The girls at the Corning office are wonderful.     I was getting hollered at a lot. I had a couple of buddies that had gotten Miracle-Ear and they were happy with theirs so I decided to check it out. I’m in my second batch of hearing aids. The first ones were behind the ear, and then I got newer ones with the wire which goes in the ear. I don't like the part that's hanging behind my ear because sometimes, it's loose and I gotta really be careful so I don't lose it. Then the part that goes in the ear is okay. I don't have to keep pushing it in.

    I was up in Fargo, North Dakota and when I went back in for checkups, the rep at Miracle-Ear was mostly in a hurry to get me in and out of there. It didn't do me much good except that I was in there at least. But the one in Alexandria, the lady down there takes her time and she's really helpful. Her name is Kate. I really don't have any big issues. But every time I got in there, it seems like there's an adjustment that's made or something to make it a little bit better. My Miracle-Ear hearing aids are way too expensive, but they helped a lot. I've been missing out on a lot of bird singing, and my wife hasn't hollered at me quite so much anymore so it's a good deal.

    Miracle-Ear has excellent service and they are extremely friendly. I can call anytime and get an appointment if I need anything, and they get me in right away. They call me by name when I walk through the door. I had gotten behind-the-ear hearing aids. After all the testing was completed, they determined that that would be the best style for my needs. I just upgraded from the original ones that I got from them though. I got the one that is one step below the very top and I absolutely love it. I can hear better and it has 20 channels altogether. There are a lot more I can do with them than the old ones that I had. It has made life more positive. My wife, who has accused me before of having selective hearing, doesn’t yell at me as much.     I was having trouble at work in meetings and different comments had been made that my hearing wasn’t so good. So I thought I better go check it out, which I did. And they provided very good service. I’ve been very happy with Miracle-Ear. Anything I’ve needed changed for the ends or anything I’ve needed here in Maplewood, they’ve taken care of it for me. I go in every twice a year and they put new ends on them for me, and are more than happy to help me if I got any questions. We go to Florida in the winter time, and I had lost the tip of one of my hearing aids. I looked up a Miracle-Ear dealer. It was down the road from where we were staying and they replaced it for me, no questions asked. They were as nice as they could possibly be, so customer service is excellent. With the hearing aids, I can hear treble voices. But I wish they were a little less expensive.

    During 45-day trial, one fell out due to poor fit. I purchased hearing aids for $6200, receiving them on October 8. The purchase agreement states that if the device does not fit my needs it may be returned within the 45 days. I did go to the office for adjustments twice. On a visit October 31 the sales person suggested I might want to get locks to prevent any possibility of their falling out. I agreed. On November 18, I found he had done nothing about locks but would do so.

    On November 19, I was doing an errand and lunch with a friend. Not long after my return home I realized the right one was missing. I contacted the office and was told to go in on Thursday, the 21st. I did so and the agent was not there; receptionist said he was ill and she could do nothing. This was my 44th day. She gave me an appointment for the following Monday. The agent spoke with me at 3:00 and asked if could come in earlier than scheduled, like right away. I contacted my friend who was driving me and I called the agent back and said we would be there in 20 mins. We were. He wasn’t.

    We called the office and they called his personal phone. He came running down the hall. We had a most unpleasant exchange. He kept yelling: "You lost it." No, it was a bad fit and fell out and I claim a refund of my first payment and call the deal off. The corporate office in Westlake finally emailed me that they don’t accept returns but want to work with me. I’m through. I want no contact with them.

    I was having mostly high-frequency hearing loss. With Miracle-Ear, it’s a lot easier to hear both my granddaughter and my wife and also the television and music. I’ve been very happy with the devices I have. They're expensive but it helps if you have insurance coverage which I do. We live in a rural area and there aren't a lot of hearing aid brands available, so Miracle-Ear is the best known. Their customer service is very good. I see them every six weeks or so. They clean the hearing aids and check my hearing again, if necessary. I’ve been very happy with the service and very pleased with everyone that I’ve encountered.

    When my uncle was a young man in his 20s, he had to start wearing a hearing aid and he always chose Miracle-Ear. When we had to get hearing aids for my friend, I told her that my uncle always swore by them so she asked where he went and got them. They were good hearing aids when she bought them new. She passed away and she gave them to me. I've had it for about two years. It's a behind the ear hearing aid, and then a tube goes inside the ear. They're excellent. As long as I have the hearing aids, I always get free cleaning as often as I want to. I go in wherever they tell me to and get them cleaned every four months or whenever I get in there. They also give me a hearing test once a year. They're extremely nice people.

    I had partial hearing loss and Miracle-Ear seemed to be a good choice. My husband uses Zounds but I wasn’t happy with that. I have Miracle-Ear's inside the canal model and I'm not too satisfied because the right one keeps falling out. The right one never fits properly and it sticks out. Miracle-Ear tried to wiggle it down but it just never works. I phoned them several times and I have an appointment next week. I am going to tell them that I really think I need a new right one. The left one is fine, though. Their customer service is very nice and the quality of the aids is fine too. I should wear them all the time, but I don’t. But I know there’s a big difference when I wear them.

    I was starting to not understand people and realized my hearing was failing. I compared a lot of products and looked for somebody local in Palm Bay where I could get good service.     They're all friendly and really nice. I like them. My right ear won't even do a hearing aid now, and my left ear is slowly losing the hearing too. But the hearing aid works on the left ear, so I'm fine. And they're really good. But I still get a lot of the background noise. If I'm in a room with other people, I have trouble hearing. I've told them about it and supposedly, they have tried to fix it, but it's still there.

He was having trouble in conversations and being in places with background noise. There is a Miracle-Ear office in our community, and so that is the first place he went to. His doctor had recommended that he go there rather than go outside that area. They're always wonderful on the phone when I talk to them. And my husband is very pleased. There has been quite a bit of difference since he got the hearing aids. It has helped him outside with more people. It's helped him even listening to programs on TV as well.     I went for a long time denying that I needed hearing aids and then I finally decided to get one. Miracle-Ear is absolutely great. I can hear pretty well without the background noises interfering. Before, I had some cheaper model and it heard everything, but Miracle-Ear is a little bit better. My old ones too were badly screened for some reason, but they were nice and you just plug them in at night and you're good to go. They also do a marvelous job of really cleaning them.     A hearing aid was sent back for repair a week after the warranty expired on behalf of my sister. She had to pay in excess of $300 for repair. When it was returned to her, there was a crack in it. She put it off to the side thinking that she would have to pay more to get that repaired. I found out and have had no luck in discussing the problem with anyone associated with Miracle Ear. It was their fault. It was not cracked when she sent it in. They are saying they won't repair it now, as the warranty has expired. This was secondary to poor workmanship. Between her and my Mom, with interest, two sets of hearing aids cost them in excess of $6,000. They can actually hear better with a $19.95 unit from Walmart. Something needs to be done! Do not purchase a Miracle Ear hearing aid. There are better ones on the market.

    I was very please with the entire staff here in Yuma Az. The difference is incredible. Can’t believe what I was missing. Jennnifer was courteous and kind and Charlie was amazing! He explained everything in terms I could understand. I learned so much. The costs are a little alarming however. I have TriCare spousal insurance and hearing is not covered for costs. Being on a fixed income will make things difficult financially. However it seems hearing loss occurs over multiple years at such a slow progression that we don’t really notice the significance. I personally scored in the 3 range. 1 being great 4 being deaf???? So I am glad I went. Have you hearing checked early on folks! Don’t isolate yourself because you don’t hear well and can’t communicate or respond. Seems it pushes the onset of dementia???

    I had a previous Miracle-Ear for about four years and this is a replacement. I went back to them after my first experience with them, which was fine. I did the behind the ear this time because aging has reduced the hearing in my other ear. So it was better to work in concert with the two ears instead of having one separate.     I have four-and-a-half year-old hearing aids from Miracle-Ear and they are the little ones that go into the canal. I like them the best. I also have other ones which were my deceased brother-in-law’s. They are a little higher and the kind that flips around the ear. He never wore them and he had them for about four years while he was suffering with cancer, so my sister gave them to me. Recently, I thought I was going in to have them raise the volume up on those hearing aids with the wire that goes around the ear and their rep said he couldn't do it. They have all this new stuff set up in there and I don’t know what they did with the old computer they used to use in there when I go in.

    I used to work with their rep, Greg, and when I couldn't hear certain things, he gave me another test. But the first lady I went to, Ann, didn't give me a complete test like Greg did. She was there when I first bought my hearing aids and I didn't like her. She was charging me two bucks for a little bit of this and nitpicked them all the time for something. I was also told that she had a very bad personality, so they fired her.

    Then Greg came in and he was a great help. He put something around my head and said that all the nerves behind my ear were dead. He was really good and I miss him. I was surprised when I went in there the other day and he wasn’t there anymore. Also, I don’t know who this new guy is in there but he said that my request to put the volume a higher wouldn’t work with the new technology computer crap they got in there. won't go back there and I'm really disgusted with them. But I’m 84 and I can’t be going out buying hearing aids all the time.

    I’ve been going to see Mary ** since I got my hearing aids from her almost a year and a half ago. She has always helped me and been extremely helpful and nice. This time she really pulled off some magic or a miracle. I don’t know exactly what she did but when I went out to the waiting area while my niece was in to see her (my brother-law also sees her) I could hear every word that was said, including words off and on of the phone conversation that was also going on. I’ve never heard this well in years, no, make that decades!

    Miracle-Ear was closer to where I live, so I bought a hearing aid from them. I have it for almost two years now and so far, my experience has been very good. But I have to go back sometime this week because if I put my finger in my ear and push it down, I can hear better. So, I need some adjustment on my hearing aid. Other than that, the girl who assists me there is very good. Also, the hearing aid has helped me a little bit, but hearing is very difficult.     My husband has had hearing aids for years and he upgraded to Miracle-Ear. We figured no matter where we were we could always get to a Miracle-Ear. At times, he still has trouble making out words and he tells me to look at him when I talk. However, he changes things and does different things. This last time, for some reason, moisture stays on his hearing aids. He had this little jar that he would put them in, but it wasn’t drying them. He also said that his skin is very oily. I don’t know if that has anything to do with it, but he bought a metal thing that you plug in to put his hearing aids in at night. The customer service is very nice.     I talked with Miracle-Ear and asked them about the insurance, and they said they'd take that 100%. But with the other people, it was $500 or $600 that I had to lay into. So I went to Miracle-Ear and the people there were nice and they talked to you. They were great. One of them showed me how to put an app on my phone where you turn them down or up if I had to. And as far as wearing the hearing aids, you can hardly see them. They're good quality. When I don't have them in, all the background noise comes together. But now that I have it, I could concentrate when somebody is talking and the background noise doesn't bother me.

    I was having a lot of trouble hearing everything in people’s conversations, so I was just standing around going, “Mm-hmm, whatever”. And I couldn’t hear my pastor talk and some parts of music. I saw a Miracle-Ear Hearing Aids ad in the paper, that they had two for the price of one, and since I’m on a very small Social Security income, that was perfect for me. So, I bought them and I love them. Their customer service team is wonderful. The receptionist Cynthia is a darling and she has such a wonderful attitude. I see her with other people too, and she’s terrific. The other rep is excellent. He takes really good care of what I need. And he’s personable and he seems very knowledgeable.

    Miracle-Ear hearing aid feels fine, most of the time. But sometimes, I don’t think it’s all the way in. When you take the mold of the ear, it doesn't go as far into the ear canal as it could because that would make it so they won’t fall out and I think that they would sit better. Nonetheless, I can hear people talk, and I can hear my kids, and I can hear music. They’re wonderful. One time I lost one of them outside and then we had a torrential rain for a few days. And I finally found it a long time later, and just figured to let it sit on the counter and let it dry out and see if it works. And it worked just great. And then another time last year, when I was shoveling snow outside, I lost one. And yes, they do tend to fall out. We had to wait for it to melt. And then I found it again and that didn’t work after I tried. But I sent it in and it came back even better than it was before.

    I’m 80 years old on a fixed income. I can’t afford the hearing aids that I really needed and my insurance doesn’t cover it. They got a payment, but I can’t afford the monthly payment. I’m deaf in my left ear and Miracle-Ear has this new transmitter. I got it in both ears so I would be hearing out at both. But it’s really expensive.     My mother purchased a hearing aid from the Florence KY store a while back and has received the run around as the device wasn't sized properly and as a result she lost the unit. Since then we have received the run around as Miracle provided her poor service in not sizing it properly and not standing behind their product. They had originally talked about working with her in providing a replacement at a reduced cost but basically told us to get lost as they were not going to do anything to stand behind their product.     I've got them since 1999, and I've had good luck with them, and that's why I had stayed with Miracle-Ear. My hearing in the left ear is almost completely gone, and I was told that all the nerve endings were gone.     Everyone was noticing that my wife was having trouble. When she finally admitted that she needed hearing aid, I went with her to Miracle-Ear and she was the first to get one. She always would have the TV loud and when she got her hearing aid, I couldn't hear the TV anymore. I also got my hearing tested and I was losing some of my hearing ability too. I never was bothered by that and other people that were around me never thought I had that much of a hearing loss. But when I got tested, I was having a bit of hearing loss in one ear. I read a lot of information that having good hearing can help postpone Alzheimer's and senility when you get older. So, I said I'll take the chance. Miracle-Ear Hearing Aids seems like a cheap insurance to get something like that, so I got the hearing aids too.

    My wife and I are both in our 70s and we've been fortunate financially to be able to buy a lot of things because of our income level. Usually companies who have been around a long time have a good reputation and people are usually satisfied with them. So, Miracle-Ear may not be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. I have a relative that paid considerably less for their hearing aids from another vendor than we did, but they don't have the quality and they're not as good. Miracle-Ear has a lot better quality sound to them and it adjusts all the time when you go in and out of different environments. The customer service has been good too. We live in a rural area, so most of the time, people are friendly. If you're not friendly in a rural area, you're not gonna be in business too long. So far, I'm happy with Miracle-Ear. When there's an issue, they take care of it right away.

    As people get older, people don't realize that one person might have a hearing loss, but the other person might be getting some too. And it's a good idea for both of them to be tested when they get to at a certain age. It should even be a requirement when you get to be at a certain age. Everybody should have a hearing test because I would've never known it.

    My father had quite a huge hearing loss. We did a test and we saw where he was. There were some areas that my father was actually below being able to see any kind of an effect from a hearing aid but we still elected to go with an aid and got a really good quality one. Miracle-Ear was a referral to us when we looked at our options. The hearing aid fits behind the ear. There's a piece that's in the ear then a little rope goes up and around the ear. I spent a lot of money on the Miracle-Ear and I believe my father is getting some benefit from them. The problem is my father's hearing loss can't be reversed or improved with the aids. It's only at certain frequencies so he still has substantial hearing loss. That's not the fault of the device, though. Other than that, the person who administered the test and helped us was really great about constantly giving us adjustments and sees my father about once every three months to resolve whatever issues he has.

    My hearing loss is at 80% and I've had hearing aids for a long time. First I started, they were really good and better than nothing. Then, the ones that fit in the ear got so expensive, so I got something that fit behind my ear. Those weren't as good and then I had trouble. It seemed like I wore glasses and it seemed like I was getting sores. Then I ran into a gentleman and Miracle-Ear came along. He was in Missoula and I'm in Hamilton. He came down and we got to talking, then I went ahead and bought up there, then I've been really happy ever since. The overall functionality and performance of the hearing aids is 100%.

    The worst I had was just the other day when the hearing aids went completely out on me and there was a little spring in there. Of course, the gentleman told me he'd come down and I said, "Well, maybe I can wait until you come down." But if you had hearing aids and then you don't hear, you could imagine how much problem it was. You would be reading lips or trying to.     I wasn't hearing right, and I had to say, "Huh?" a whole lot and ask what people said. I had gone to Beltone for a free hearing test and I left. Then, just about almost a year later, I got a card from Miracle-Ear, inviting me to come in for a free test, and I was very impressed with the test that was given. It was a whole lot better than what Beltone had done. Plus, Cheryl, the lady who works in Princeton was very informative, which was why I ended up with Miracle-Ear.     I could hear but I couldn't hear various tones. More so in the right ear than the left. I saw Miracle-Ear's advertisements and I gave it a shot. Their reps gave me full of information.     My sister-in-law had gotten hearing aids off this particular office of Miracle-Ear and she was very satisfied. She’s kinda picky, so I went there too and bought the same thing that she got from them. It's the one that has the little bitty thing that goes in your ear with a piece of plastic wire that comes out to a thing that goes on top of your ear. I wanted that style because I didn’t wanna have the hearing aids to be any more visible than they have to be and so far, they seem fine. But what I like most is that I can go practically in a moment’s notice to Miracle Ear's office, tell them what's bothering me, and it would be taken care of right away. I can go back as many times as I want and they are still the same gorgeous people. Also, with the Miracle Ear hearing aids, I can hear better. Before, I couldn't hear and things were considerably foggier. And in general, I am comfortable. I’ve had a great deal of sickness, I’m in and out of hospitals all the time, and it has helped me.

    I’ve had great success with my experience with Miracle-Ear. It’s been good. I have no complaints whatsoever. Miracle-Ear was really close to me here, and I had friends that had been there that had good service. They do a good job and their knowledge of the product impressed me. They make you feel welcome and all that good stuff. I had both the behind-the-ear and receiver-in-canal. The last ones I got were inside. I wish I had gotten the behind-the-ear ones though, like the first ones I had. The receiver-in-canal is a lot harder to get out and maintain than the behind-the-ear.     Miracle-Ear has been a miracle ‘cause we can hear really well and they were located in the Sears Store so, it was a convenient thing. We go in there once in a while, we get another hearing check or just to have the hearing aids cleaned. Their reps are wonderful and they take good care of us, and that’s the important thing, it’s just making sure they’re working and they’re doing their job. There were a couple of situations where the hearing aids didn’t work as good as they should though. We went to a play recently and there were a lot of female actresses and I couldn’t hear them. I know they were talking. Other people apparently in the theater could hear it real well ‘cause they were laughing and enjoying it.     With my prior hearing aids, the other company that I worked with did not have an update to their software. On the other hand, my mother-in-law has her pair of hearing aids and she recommended Miracle-Ear. It also had a lot to do with how many Miracle-Ears there were in the country and when I went in to look, I really liked the personal service of Jason, their rep. He was excellent. He was very patient, very knowledgeable, and he didn’t make me feel inadequate in a lot of areas. He said a lot of times, “Don’t worry, the people that normally hear can’t hear either.”

    I've had Miracle-Ear for quite a year. I had a free hearing test, and I knew my hearing was gone, but I didn't know how bad it was. And fortunately, when I got done, I found out that I was qualified for hearing aids. Fortunately, the hearing aids itself, you can put a battery in one day, and more or less leave it set for three days and you have to replace the battery. The batteries are very expensive, even though I did get extra batteries with it. And when they construct the battery, the power is not actually all the way in. It’s maybe 65% charged. I’m not going to keep on putting in batteries.

    I got the one behind the ear. I would like to switch 100%. I am supposed to have a test sometime in October. The Miracle-Ear team helped me a lot. They surprised the living heck out of me, saying that I qualified for hearing aids. And also, to have the $3,000 loan. To go through. But hopefully I could exchange my hearing aids. For the price of it, it is kinda expensive. For the quality, it isn’t there. More or less I don't wear them because they're getting to be a pain in my ears. They're uncomfortable, and very easy to move and lose.

    I've been dealing with hearing loss for about 7 years. Some of our family was here one morning and we were having coffee and donuts, and everybody’s sitting around the dining room table, having a nice conversation.     I’ve started in the Miracle-Ear at Manhattan Beach, California and then I moved to Phoenix and used the Phoenix one. Now I go back and forth between Pinetop, Arizona and Phoenix. I also used one in Show Low, and it’s been a very, very good experience. I've had Miracle-Ear for 10 years. Being a former CEO of a service company, I’m very impressed with the lack of continuous expense that I do not have to pay, and the enthusiasm of the people that are there that say, “Here, let me see your hearing aids. No, they need to be cleaned. I’ll take this for you, no charge.” When I try to offer them money, they don’t accept it. So, I make donations to their charity to help young kids to be able to hear. It’s all positive.

    I have recommended Miracle-Ear to everyone that has a hearing issue. Their customer service is very good and I continue to go back in every six months for a hearing test with no charge. They are wonderful about that. But the cost seems to be a little high. The continuous rumors within all of my friends that you can get the same product with half the price at Costco. Miracle-Ear needs to look competitively at that to see if in fact that’s the case.

    Miracle-Ear reached out to me and it was convenient. I didn’t have to go far. They demonstrated the hearing aids, measured it and everything worked like they said it would. And they showed me, they didn’t just tell me, “This is what you need.” They placed me in a room and took tests and they did this and tried this, and I was hearing well. It works.

    I like the service. I go back about every three months and they tune the hearing aids up, and there is definitely a difference every time I go. Once or twice I’ve had to go back before my three-month appointment for a basic tune up. Basically the hearing aids get clogged with dirt, and even when I put them on, it looks okay, but they ain’t working right. So I take them back and the guy basically finds dirt in them. He cleans them up and they’re like new. I can tell the difference. So, that service is really handy to have. I can never get them as clean as they do. Plus they got special stuff and they know what they’re doing, and they have a few more tricks. That backup service has been very good.

    When I first looked at hearing aids they had a 90-day warranty. Now, I did have to buy insurance on these, which is around $250 a year range, but they’re basically warrantied forever. And when I first started shopping, I knew I needed them a lot. They guy said they will last in a year. And I said, “What?” And they were much money or more than these. And I do know that you can get them more cheaper today than I paid at Miracle-Ear, but I don’t believe the others have the service, and/or they have to travel or it’s mail order and all those stuff. So, I’m very happy with Miracle-Ear.

    I've had a Miracle-Ear for about six years and I get better service cleaning and taking care of the hearing aids with them than I did with other companies. They also put new parts and do the things that’s necessary to keep them up to speed. But I’m having trouble with the hearing aids changing their channels by themselves rather than me doing it.

    The Miracle-Ear Hearing Aid is $12,000 worth of product and it's way too expensive and they don’t seem to wanna negotiate it. You can negotiate the price on a $15,000 or $20,000 car, but not on $12,000 for the hearing aids. Hopefully, with all these other new hearing aids coming out, Miracle-Ear will see it fit to reduce their cost because not everybody can go out and pay $6,000 for a pair of hearing aids. That’s ridiculous.

    My 81-year-old mother went to the Miracle-Ear office at 2668 N Susquehanna Trail, Shamokin Dam, PA 17876 and was pushed into signing a contract that allowed them to keep three hundred dollars of her money if she returned the hearing aids because they were not effective. She saw an ad in the local paper that claims they will be able to hear better for $895. When she arrived they immediately told her she needed to spend $7,000 to hear better. ** at this particular office said, "I guarantee you will hear better". He had her sign a form that stated that she wasn't entitled to receive all of her money back if they didn't work. He convinced her they would change her life. They did not. They were only as effective as her current hearing aids, so she returned the Miracle-Ear hearing aids after several adjustments in an attempt to improve clarity.

    ** in this office was the one to handle the return and she made it clear that my mother would not receive a total refund. After one month without any refund at all, I called them to ask why my mother hadn't received any of the $7000 she paid and they didn't have an explanation. Maybe they were hoping that she would just forget. I had to call them several times before they decided to send her $6,700. I will say the lab coats were a nice touch. Even the receptionist wears one. Why? What a joke. Save yourself money and aggravation and don't go to Miracle-Ear.

    I am on Social Security. When the audiologist told me the price for the hearing aids I needed, I told him that I could not afford them! They are $6000.00!! He ran my info for financing, but I was turned down, due to my credit score, which was 540!! I asked if I could set up auto payments out of my checking account and I was told that they do not do 3rd party payments! How is this a third party payment?? I e-mailed the store, TWICE, asking for them to send me a copy of my audiogram so I could check into the Miracle-Ear Foundation, which I was never told about!!!! I have not had any reply!!

    All I was told was maybe in a couple of weeks they would get in touch with me to set up payments out of my checking account if I could afford the payments!! Mind you now that my check does not last the whole month and he never said a single word about the Foundation. They have to help me get my hearing aids, and the $150.00 is hard for me to pay to begin with! I feel like I am getting the runaround, because of my Social Security, and not being able to pay! The audio exam was no charge due to a flier that I received in the mail! I have barely any hearing in my right ear and my left ear is not that much better! Maybe it would be better if I was completely deaf and learn to read lips!! If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate any help!!

    I got a Beltone years back and I didn't have too much of a problem. But then, Miracle-Ear is local and another friend of mine has had problems too, so we made an appointment to go together. They also had a big sale and the hearing aids were discounted. It was $3600 for the two of them. I'm on a very low income and the Miracle-Ear is unaffordable under normal circumstances and would be right now. It had to be paid for over many years. We both got Miracle-Ear and we both still have them. The follow-up was phenomenal and better than any other that I've ever heard of. They are wonderful people to deal with and Tammy in Torrington is outstanding in every way, like courtesy. Any questions I might have are answered and any problems are taken care of immediately. Plus, after I lost one, insurance took care of it.

    I go for a check-up every three to four months and we’re going into four years with Miracle-Ear. At the present time, I have the insurance for it, but next year, I probably won't be able to get it. It's $14 a month right now for the insurance, but I get $1,100 or so a month, which has to be stretched out for rent and everything else that I need.

    The Miracle-Ear is an excellent product. It has really helped me and it improved my hearing. It can be adjusted for crowds, independent or television. I'm able to watch television in an adequate way. Although there are many that are of better quality than Miracle-Ear, I could never afford anything like that. In the future, if something happens outside of having the insurance, then I'd probably go to some rinky-dink. I'm very fortunate to have Miracle-Ear. It has improved my life. I've had a lot of bad things happen, but having Miracle-Ear has been one of the pleasures that I'm grateful for. I'm extremely satisfied and very blessed that I even walk through the doors because I was much more hard of hearing than I realized.

    I purchased hearing aids on 03-23-19 and requested a refund on 04-15-19. Problem after problem. I was told they were an in network provider - not true - as a result my primary insurance provider didn't pay at in network price and secondary provider paid out $2,725.00 instead of $4,000.00. I would have never used them had I been told the truth. I paid 2,000.00 down on a $7,990.00 pair of hearing aids - balance was supposed to put on credit card with 0% percent financing - this was not done - 5,000.00 was put on card for 5 years with 12% interest.

    I made call after call - email after email. Darryl ** - manager of the Pleasanton Store who does not reside in CA called me and stated he would call me back - that never happened until I went to Corporate and called 3 days in a row! When he called me back he was extremely rude and accused me of not paying $2,000.00 which I had and when he looked it up (in other words - did his job and checked) he realized I had paid the 2,000.00 down. I am bringing up his name because after going back and forth with Corporate - they advised me to call: Gregg ** Email: ** - I emailed him yesterday with no response and called back the number today to be told by "Kay" at that number that Darryl ** should be helping me. What a nightmare! I have emails and call logs to back up what I am saying. I requested a refund during the time frame required in their contract.

    I wore hearing aids before which did a good job. However, those were inside the ear and I got a lot of rocks buildup with them. I had those for years. One time, Miracle-Ear sent an advertisement and I had a hearing examination. I went with them and with the model I got, there's not much inside the ear. The hearing aid and battery cells are on top of my ear and there's a wire as well as something plugged in my ear. With those, more air gets in and I don't get so much buildup. Thus far, customer service at Miracle-Ear has been very nice. Whenever I have a problem, I can go right away, and their tech will fix it. My hearing aids are expensive and I bought them for a little more than what I used to pay for the ones in the ear. Even so, without them, I'm in bad shape. I really need them.

    I had a hard time hearing sometime, but it was not so bad that I couldn’t hear and with the new hearing aids from Miracle Ear, my life is a whole lot easier. I saw the advertisements and I liked their program. I wasn’t happy about the cost though. It's high but the quality is there and I've been extremely satisfied with them.     We went to Miracle Ear because of an ad that came in our mail. My husband and I both went for the test and my husband had no problem, but I did. The hearing specialist told me that I had hearing loss due to a nerve problem and I also have severe tinnitus. I bought the rechargeable hearing aid and the charger which was over $7000. It had lifetime adjustments which was important to me. I started having problems immediately with the length of cord that goes from the receiver that should help keep hearing aid better secured in the ear. I went to have it changed several times and after third or fourth time it still would not stay in good and I was constantly pushing it back in. I lost one while shopping one day and looked everywhere, even going back to stores and checking there.

    I called the local Miracle Ear and spoke with them about it, but it was too late since I had had them over 30 days. I was told I would have to pay 25% to replace it! They called the owner and he said they couldn’t help me. So here I am stuck with one hearing aid, a $700 charger and a huge loan to pay back! Although the specialist at this office was fantastic and was very sorry it happened, I can’t say the same for the owner. I would not recommend Miracle Ear to anyone!

    At one point, my wife thought I couldn't hear anything. I'm 68 years old and there are things that go a bit haywire at that age. So, I thought it was just a normal thing. I talked to some friends who have gone to Miracle-Ear and they liked them. I went there as well and found their staff to be friendly and very knowledgeable. I got a model of hearing aid that goes behind-the-ear.     It was very embarrassing having hearing loss. I don't have full hearing loss but sometimes, I would have to ask someone three times to tell me what they were saying. It embarrassed my husband too. When we got away, he would tell me not to ask people about things three times. I should just smile and go on. Our daughter would also come over and the TV would be on. She would tell me that the neighbors could hear the TV. And a lot of times, I blamed it on my husband. He has some hearing loss too. We're both 84.

    Also, when our daughter came over, she and my husband would be talking. I couldn't hear what they were saying and I had this mental problem and I would ask what they were whispering about. And so when Miracle-Ear put an office up in Lewisville, we were tickled to death. The only thing about my hearing aids is the cost was terrible.     I didn’t know I was losing my hearing until my wife said that I’m going. There was a Miracle-Ear in Holden and I went to it. It was easy to go there and get the free test. Then, I found out that I could only hear or understand half of what people were saying, so it was time for hearing aids. I got the behind-the-ear style on both ears. The people at Miracle-Ear were great. Even when they moved from Holden to Gardner which is further away from me, I go to Gardner to see them because they’re very competent and friendly. They do a good job.

    The hearing aids are expensive and I’m retired so, it’s difficult. I probably won’t get an upgrade soon but they’re good hearing aids and Miracle-Ear takes care of them. The wires that go from the hearing aid to the ear piece on my ear break faster than they probably should, so I lose the hearing aid but I would call them up and they would bring me in and replace it at no cost. Although if it happens on a weekend, they’re not working so I lose that hearing aid for the weekend.

    Sometimes, you’re trying to hear and all of sudden, you got a hearing aid that crackles and just goes out. You put a battery in and it just doesn’t start up again. But the wire was the only issue and the woman who checks them put a stronger one in, so they last longer. I can usually tell when it’s gonna happen because there’s a piece of plastic on the end to pull them in and out. Once that breaks off, the only way for me to get it out is to use the wire to pull them out and then, I know the wire’s gonna break. I like the Miracle-Ear Hearing Aids. They work well and I like the different volumes you can do on the side.

    I had been to every doctor that I know of because I couldn’t hear well. They all said it was the water in my ears from my asthma and allergies, and there was nothing they could do. Then one day, I finally got fed up with having to have everybody repeat everything to me. I walked in to the Miracle-Ear down the street from us and had a hearing test. The experience was incredible in every way, even how they told me what my hearing loss was and why. I have hearing loss in both ears, more in one ear than the other. The loss in one ear is because my Eustachian tube never grew. It’s like at 50% its normal size, which no doctor ever noticed. The other ear was just normal hearing loss. It has been a love affair since then.

    The first hearing aid I got was just a basic one with batteries. Then the one I’m using now got rechargeable batteries, but I can put regular ones in them if I need to. They go behind my ear and inside. The side with the really bad hearing loss has a smaller little round thing on the end that’s smaller than the other side because the bigger one won’t stay in there.

    When we were in Sedona, Arizona, I lost one of the end pieces. At first, we were sure it was in my ear, but we couldn’t find it anywhere. There’s a Miracle-Ear in Cottonwood, not too far from where we were staying, so I made an appointment that morning and they went in, and the woman didn’t just replace the earpiece, she checked my ears and the tubes extensively to make sure it wasn’t in there floating around somewhere. Then she sent an email to Christina at our store telling her that we had been in there, that everything was fine, and she replaced it.

    With Miracle-Ear, I can hear. My family’s very happy and I’m not asking everybody to repeat everything. The cost is high, but it’s keeping me hearing. People that go to other places pay less but don’t get the service or the quality. So, to me, Miracle-Ear is worth it. My first pair of hearing aids was eight years old, and then I moved up to the digital, and the phone app really makes a difference as well. It has always been an amazing service. I’ll keep going as long as they’re around.

    I bought a Miracle-Ear in-the-canal hearing aid. I wore them for seven years. They worked well but they got too weak. Miracle-Ear said they can't get it strong enough for my hearing. So they told me to apply for the over-the-ear style at the foundation and I did. I got the hearing aids but they won't stay working. In the last five weeks, they've been in for repair four weeks out of that. The hearing aids went in for service and was gone for two weeks. When I got back, I wore them two days and it didn't work again. I mailed them back that time and they went away for two more weeks. Yesterday, I had to drive 80 miles there and 80 miles back to go get the hearing aids. I have had to wear my old set when these new ones are in for repair. I get plenty of volume out of the new one but the speech isn't as well as in the old one and I have trouble understanding speech.

    I do appreciate what Miracle-Ear did for me and as far as the center where I go to for service, they're top-notch. They do everything in their power to keep me where I can hear. I like Miracle-Ear. I got my first set in 2015 and I always dealt with them. But these over-the-ear hearing aids are total garbage and they are the worst hearing aids I've ever worn.

    I was having difficulty hearing some of the words on the television shows, and I had to keep asking my wife what they said. I noticed that there was a branch of Miracle-Ear in my neighborhood, so I decided to go there first. I got the behind-the-ear style, which was recommended to me by the person who did the hearing test. It’s about 80% effective. I still have some difficulty on hearing various ranges and now, that may be corrected when I go back for my post-visit sometime in the fall.

    I am very pleased with the person who worked with me. It was the audiologist who also functioned as the sales person and she was very good. She was also the individual who had done my hearing test. I was pleased with both her attitude, her friendliness and her function. However, the cost of the hearing aid was quite expensive for me. It was $5,000 for the two of them, which was a significant hit upon one’s budget. The hearing aid made life somewhat better although there are still some difficulties. I don’t wear them when I know that I’m going to be in with a crowd, because it makes it very difficult to focus on or function on a single conversation. What I hear somehow gets jumbled in the process of going from their mouth to my ears.

    I have a set of Miracle-Ear hearing aids and I’m doing okay with it so far. I haven’t had any problem with them. If I do, they gave me a number up in Troy to go to and appear. And they got me all set up. I had partial hearing loss before contacting Miracle-Ear. But it was really close where if I didn’t do anything at the time, I wouldn’t have had any. I was constantly saying, “Huh, what?” “Excuse me, I didn’t hear you.” I was driving my son out of his mind.

    Before I went to Miracle-Ear, I was not taking care of my ears. I went to a hearing specialist in Florida when I started having hearing problems. This was probably about five years before we moved back to Florida. She told me about one hearing aid but I didn't think I could afford the cost. I asked if I could just have one piece of the hearing aids and she told me I could have whatever I wanted. She sold me a hearing aid and I had nothing but trouble. Nothing worked out well. I brought my hearing aid back and I got my money back, but it was definitely a very bad experience.

    My daughter took me to Miracle-Ear because she wanted me to get my hearing taken care of. Melissa is their board-certified hearing instrument specialist. I told her about my earlier experience because asked me if I had seen anybody before. She said that it was illegal to sell just one hearing aid. The hearing aids work in conjunction with each other. If I wanted to have a good experience, I needed to have a hearing aid in each ear.

    I’ve had a very good experience with Miracle-Ear. I’ve been seeing Melissa going on two years now. I find her to be extremely efficient and she is on top of everything that is going on. If I have a question or concern, she addresses them all. She gives me hints to what makes it a better situation for me.

    I was turning up my hearing aids and was having a problem. If my husband was watching TV and it wasn’t loud enough, I would turn my hearing aids up so that I could hear what was being said. But I’d have trouble later if I tone my hearing aids down again. I was messing with them. Melissa said I was confusing the hearing aids with my instructions. I was confusing myself too when I couldn't hear and thought I should be able to hear something. She told me a better way to deal with that because when you take off your hearing aids, they go back to their normal setting.

    One of my daughters goes with me when I go see Melissa. She doesn't have a hearing problem but she’s very on top of the hearing issues because of me. She really thinks that Melissa is the person to go to and stay with because I’ve been complaining about the hearing aids and was thinking I should go somewhere else. I had tried some hearing aids for a two week trial many years ago and wasn’t impressed at all which left me thinking they were all the same. I had done some research on the RIC aid vs BTE aid and my choice was the RIC. I can tell you the difference in what I tried at Miracle ear and what I tried many years ago is night and day.     I purchased the most expensive hearing aid from Miracle-Ear. Had a huge amount of problems with fit and ear irritation. Miracle-Ear distributor on Buenos Aires Dr. in The Villages Florida worked with me for six months and Monica and Karen were very patient with me and took my problems to heart. They finally worked everything out and I am hearing better. My advice is if it does not fit and you do not hear better keep going back. Their warranty is very short in time so you must go back daily if necessary for them to fix or you will not get your money back. My problems have been solved but it is only been because of the staff at the Miracle-Ear location in The Villages Florida.

    Miracle-Ear Hearing Aids is great. My hearing loss was getting bad and I had a really bad hum in the left ear because there is a little hole in the eardrum. I went into the store and my interactions with their reps were magnificent. They put their hearing aids into test and even the very first one tested silenced the whistle in my left ear. I couldn't handle behind the ear hearing aids and got the one that pushes in. It has the battery in there. It's not rechargeable, but it's okay. The overall functionality and performance of the hearing aids are great. I can hear the TV better. Plus, the cost in relation to the quality was reasonable.

    I have a partial hearing loss and it was hard to hear conversations in groups. I was with another hearing aid company and Miracle-Ear bought them out. I have behind-the-ear hearing aids. It’s great but when I work, I sweat a lot and it’s easy to get into the hearing aid, and there’s a bunch of malfunctions that can happen. Still, it has made a lot of things easier. I’ve had hearing aids before where I had to take them out and then put the phone up to my ear. That was a hassle especially while driving, and it wasn’t always clear. But having conversations now through my hearing aids through Bluetooth makes it much easier to communicate. I like the quality and I can adjust it to whichever situation I’m in and adjust the volume.     I have moderate hearing loss. I had high tones where a problem was forming. And therefore, when I had conversations with females or children, it was very difficult for me to hear. Miracle-Ear has an office here in town. And I did some research on some of the other ones, and I liked the technology that Miracle-Ear provided. It seemed to have what appeared to be a good application for me.

    It's a pretty noisy world out there. I had not realized how much hearing I had lost until we were visiting the grandkids. They're very young and they have very high-pitched voices. I literally could not understand it. I could hear them, but I couldn't understand what they were saying most of the time. And after that visit, I told my wife, "I don't wanna be that grandpa that keeps saying, 'What? Say that again. What was that?'" So, that was what kinda spurred us on getting hearing aids. And now, I can't imagine being without them. It's part of my life. I'm really happy with them.

    I got behind the ear hearing aids. I wanted something that was hidden for the most part, and I didn't want a big, clunky hearing aid. It was something that fits my lifestyle, and it also tucked away nicely behind my ear. I've been fairly happy with them. I had one that went bad, which was replaced promptly. They gave me a loaner until mine came in, and they replaced it within just a couple of days. But other than that, they've been dependable. I get a little bit of whistling when I get out in the wind. I get air moving past the speaker but it is certainly something that I can tolerate. It's not a big deal. It has a lot of application.

    I also got a pair for my mother. She's really hard of hearing, and TV was a problem for her. And the unit that we got for her also has the streamer that you can plug into the TV so the sound of the TV goes right into your hearing aid. And that has helped her tremendously to be able to watch TV and enjoy it and hear whats's going on. So, those types of things are things I really appreciate out of Miracle-Ear. As far as the customer service, it has been very good every time I've called up there. When I had a problem, they were right on it. And in one case, I had a little bit of wax that got into the speaker, and they guided me through cleaning it out. They are very knowledgeable on what I may be experiencing and how to respond to it. So they did very well with that.

    Cost was a major hurdle for me to get over. I did not wanna spend a lot of money on hearing aids. I had done a lot of research online, and certainly, there were a lot of options that seemed less expensive. I was concerned with buying them online with not having any local professional help to kind of get them fine-tuned and everything. So that was one of the reasons why I chose Miracle-Ear. After my interview with them and they gave me a pair to try for 30 days, they were very concerned about regulating and adjusting it. We seemed to work very well together in getting me and it lined up with my lifestyle, and the cost factor went away. They helped serviced it. It's really been a good relationship. So, I'm glad I went that way.

    If anybody ever needs to talk to somebody and really wants to get personal one-on-one feedback, I'll be more than glad to provide that for them. The Miracle-Ear folks have been wonderful for me, and anything I could do to help their business out would be certainly something I would do. Once I took the journey, my Miracle-Ear really has changed my whole life. I used to be in sales, and part of my life was hearing the customer and understanding their reactions to what I was providing. And without the hearing aids, there were a lot of times that I missed a lot of stuff that I should've heard.

    At meetings, I couldn’t hear when at a distance from the speaker and I had that corrected with the Miracle-Ear hearing aids.     I'm doing okay with my Miracle-Ear hearing aids. I don’t wear it all the time but I have to use it for ladies with their high pitch. I like the fact that Miracle-Ear got a charger that goes with the hearing aids and it charges. I charge it everyday and it seems to work fine. I already had a hearing aid but I went with Miracle-Ear because it was close by here in Lenoir and they had the charging device. I got the one that goes in my ear because it was self-charging. I couldn’t get along with the batteries which were awful. The local guy is very good. I have an appointment to go by and he checks and cleans them.     I’m a brain cancer survivor and I had a lot of radiation on the right side of my head which is where my tumor was located, directly right above my right ear. It was removed, but it was determined to be cancerous, so I had a lot of chemotherapy and radiation. Although there is a history of hearing loss in my family, the radiation is mostly what killed the hearing. Thankfully, the Miracle-Ear location was just around the corner from my home. Unfortunately, they had just recently moved, and I had been to the new location. It’s not terribly far, but it’s not as convenient as it was at the time.

    Their customer service is very good. Whenever I call, they’re always responsive. Everything is great. I’m happy now. I like the fact that I can go in there whenever I want to get an adjustment, or have the hearing aids or my ears looked at. Miracle-Ear is more expensive than some of the other brands out there, but I have only had good feeling about Miracle-Ear. My hearing aid fits fine. It’s over-the-ear. My father’s are inside-the-ear and I don’t think I would like that. At least with the over-the-ear, I’m more aware of it. When I happen to shower, I’d know to take it out before.

    I’ve had my Miracle-Ear for a little over a year now and I’ve been very pleased with it. My hearing is not so good, especially in crowds. Much of it has improved since I used Miracle-Ear, but it doesn’t completely solve that. I didn't expect it to anyway. I could hear speakers who used a mic just fine, but the problem was with conversations with a lot of people together talking in a crowded room. Even with somebody next to me, I was having problems.

    I have the over the ear type with the little wire running into my ear. I got it at a cost that is in line of what I thought it would be, and I've gotten very satisfactory customer service from Miracle-Ear. I’ve also had good results using my hearing aids. I teach a Sunday school class, and I could hear people across the room saying something to me, as long as everybody’s not talking.     I had friends who dealt with Miracle-Ear and were happy. I have also taken my older sister-in-law to them previously and we have an on-going relationship with the guys down there. So, it was just natural for me to go with them. The sales and customer service reps were wonderful and great. You could talk to them and they would answer any questions you have. They said that no question is stupid. The cost is expensive but I get the care and we go every four months. The service is great, and Chad and Brett are always available. If one isn’t there, the other one is. They’re almost like family now.

    My hearing loss on both ears was gradual and came with aging. I got hearing aids that go behind the ears. They help when watching TV and on one-on-one although it’s not that great in crowds and in church.     I have a gradual hearing loss. I was still working as a nurse in a recovery room and I was afraid I was gonna miss something or that I was not gonna hear something that the doctors mumbled. I decided to go and get a hearing aid. At that time, I had a coupon for Miracle-Ear. It said free hearing check. I wanted to see how bad my hearing was and I would try the hearing aids out. I made up my mind. I came out of there with a $6,000 hearing aid because it sounded good, I needed it, and I had the money.

    Mark was excellent and he worked with me to get it to fit. I have very itchy ears. I initially had the outside ones, but then we decided on the inside ones. Mark was wonderful. He measured me and we went with the ones that are in the ear. I couldn't keep them in for more than several hours. He kept working with me over the years to keep the hearing aids in. He really was very good. He also tuned them up when I felt that they needed to be tuned up. He gave me all the hearing checks that I needed.

    I love putting my hearing aids in the morning and keeping them in. I drive to church and put them in in the parking lot. I try to keep them in for a couple of hours, but it just bothers me. If I don't take them out, they actually hurt. I feel the pressure. I try them for parties or something where you have to keep them in for several hours. On occasion, I could keep them in for five or six hours, but not much longer than that. Mark sent the hearing aids back a couple of times. He did everything and was wonderful.

    But Mark left and Bryan came in. He was a little more difficult. He insisted I had to keep the hearing aids in for so many hours a day. Bryan actually wrote down on the sheet that I was not wearing my hearing aids. He pushed me to sign and I said that was wrong. I wear them as much as I can. After that little episode, I said I was not gonna deal with him. We kind of didn't agree on things so I switched over. The secretary there, Erin, was wonderful and a sweetheart. I told her I was gonna give Miracle-Ear one more try then I was going to some other hearing aid. She told me about the people in Gardner. I've been there once and they were wonderful.

    I also asked Bryan to tune my hearing aids up a little bit but he said he couldn't do that without a test. I went to my ENT doctor and got a whole new hearing test. I went with that to the people in Gardner. They tuned it up and it has been much better since then. Lisa and Giselle were really great. I take my hearing aids out for the telephone. I take them out when they itch too much or they're uncomfortable. I have been with Miracle-Ear for almost five years. I hear much better with them and I'd recommend them to others. They just have to not have itchy ears. The product is good and it's not their fault that I can't keep them in that long.

    I have had a previous pair of hearing aids from Miracle-Ear and we were happy with our service so we got them again. There were some improvements with the hearing aids but when I went back for the test this time, they said that I had an increased hearing loss. It was another 5%. I got the behind the ear model because it was the top-of-the-line model. They gave me the most clarity. The cost is fairly comparable to what's on the market but Miracle-Ear offers additional services at no charge. Miracle-Ear has improved the quality of my hearing. I work as a healthcare professional so they're very important to me in meetings and so forth where I can discern and distinguish different people speaking. My hearing loss is in my mid-range so that encompasses that area of loss. It's been really awesome to have it. The rep is kind of a friend too because we've been seeing her on and off over the past several years.

    My hearing loss wasn’t tremendous, but it was enough that my family observed it. So, they pressed the issue. Since I observed that there was a free testing at Miracle-Ear and it’s not very far from our house, I went up and had my hearing tested. And the Miracle-Ear guy, Mike, showed me the diagrams, the graphs that indicated where I have hearing loss, and he said, “I think we can help you.” He showed me what he had in mind to take care of those and I liked it. And he said if I didn't like it, we can work on getting it fixed. It’s been several years since.

    I got the hearing aids in and I like what they do and my family likes what they do. They don’t make my hearing perfect and that’s okay. I hear just fine. I don’t get any more complaints from the family. I very much like the fact that I have three different programs and then I used the three different programs on my hearing aids. I have chosen not to get the update, which would be very expensive and I’m not sure if it would be worth the cost.

    I recommend many friends to go to Miracle-Ear, especially to Mike. He’s very good and I really like his manner. And he’s very thorough, and I very much appreciate that he understands where his expertise is and where it isn’t, that if something looks amiss to him in my ear or if I have some ear problem, there’s no way he intends to fix that. He sends me to an ENT. In fact, at one point he said, “I’m just not gonna put this in because it’s all growth in here that we haven’t seen before.” Apparently, it has been in there, we just haven’t looked. And he was very concerned about it, he said, “I’m just not gonna put the instrument in until I know that it’s not going to do anything, that that’s not something that’s gonna be problematic. So, I want you to go to a doctor and have that looked at.” And so, I did.

    I had read about Miracle-Ear and I kinda tried to compare them and the quality. My hearing loss before I had their hearing aids was pretty significant, more on the right than the left. I've been going to Miracle-Ear for seven years and I'm on my third set. The hearing aids are just great. The one I have now is behind the ear. I have a better quality of hearing that way if it's actually down into the ear. It enhances my hearing. This is the newer one that I have and it has Bluetooth so I can hear through it while I'm on the telephone. That's totally a game-changer. I had the in the ear ones the first time I had Miracle-Ear, but the last two pairs I've had have been over the ear.

    Customer service is absolutely great and I've never had a problem. If I call, they always get me right in. Their rep has always been very patient and thorough. I know there are cheaper hearing aids in the market. I was surprised. I talked to people who have who pay maybe $3,000 for hearing aids and mine was close to $6,000. But given the quality, to me, it's worth it. I'm very satisfied.

    I was just about deaf and after I went to Miracle-Ear, I've been getting the best care and help that I can get. Their customer service has been fantastic. For the new set I got, I've been having trouble keeping the little device in my ears. I gotta keep pushing them in 'cause it keeps coming out. Though I've spoken with their reps, they say it's normal and I'm not gonna argue with them about it. Still, I've had this style of hearing aids with a little tube for years and I've haven't had this problem. At first, my Miracle-Ear hearing aids with Bluetooth weren't this way, but now they are.     I chose Miracle-Ear immediately because it was very close to where I live and I wanted something convenient. Also, I heard they were a good company. I've had their hearing aids for about four years. They’re terrific. In my business, I don’t have to interrupt people and say, “What did you say?” And that’s very important to me. I go to the theater and movies a lot. It’s an entirely different experience. But I wish they could do something about the cost. Miracle-Ear's products are far too expensive which is outrageous. All it is is a very small computer and you can buy a computer these days for much less money. I have no idea at all why aids are so expensive. It’s really disgusting.     I had a hearing test before I left work, and the only thing I didn't do was get a workman's comp deal on my Miracle-Ear hearing aids. I should've because it was damaged at work. But we went over there and I got that. The guy was trying to get me back into the $6,000 one. It's got the WiFi and all that stuff in it, but I don't think I need that. I thought I could buy one for maybe $4,000 or $5,000 or something like that. But that's not the case. But I'm happy with the choice I got.     The hearing aids help. I got the behind-the-ear style which were spendy but the people at Miracle-Ear said it was one of the better models. I can hear myself better now. My hearing wasn't horrible in the first place. I just noticed my hearing wasn’t good enough, in terms of hearing other people, but I’m not wearing the hearing aids right now and I notice a difference. The Miracle-Ear team was also very good to work with. I really like the secretary they have around the office. But she isn't there anymore. She either quit or got let go.     My hearing loss was about 50%. I didn’t hear that well with the hearing aids from other companies. I checked with Miracle-Ear and I was able to hear. Although the price was a little high, I went ahead and got it because of that. I have the behind the ear hearing aids which is the model that I've been used to. It's working well. But I produce a lot of wax and it picks up a lot of it. When I go and get the aids cleaned out, the Miracle-Ear people are really good. But a week or two go by and the wax builds back up again and I don’t hear as well with them.

    I get to see their customer service people often. If I go on a day, I have two months of turnaround time. But sometimes, I go in before my appointment is scheduled because of the wax buildup. Their guy takes the hearing aid, cleans them and puts them back on. He checks out my hearing too. I'm well pleased with how they are doing service. The one who sees me is very knowledgeable. He had a problem himself and I'm sure that he learned quite a bit to help others. I thank him. I had complimented him in the knowledge that he has about hearing aids, the treatment of the hearing aids and what to do. He had to send my hearing aids back four weeks ago. Something happened to my right one and Miracle-Ear sent me another.

    But I'm still thinking about why the hearing aids cost so much. I paid about $6,000 for these and I think that’s a little too high. If I had to do it all over again, I don’t think I would do it. Other than that, I'm able to hear better than I did prior to the other hearing aids I had. I pick up sounds, plus I am able to use my telephone in order to draw me closer to speakers. I'm a pastor and that helps me quite a bit because some things being where I am located, I couldn’t hear. But when I zoom in to where they are, I'm able to pick up things a lot better.

    I was mostly having hearing problems in group settings but it was overall. Miracle-Ear had a seminar and I went to it. They’re good people and I liked their availability and their willingness to serve and help you. The first model that I got provided a battery recharge unit but the next one I got eliminated that and required battery change. That was not a good change. The rechargeable was easier! They do provide free batteries though and that’s not a big issue. It’s convenience in my mind. Plus I could hear better with my new hearing aids. I’ve had Miracle-Ear for several years now and I’m satisfied with what they give me. In fact, this is my second or third set from them and I’d recommend them.

    I have Meniere’s Disease which caused part of my hearing loss, so I have been losing my hearing since I was 21. That’s when they noticed I had a problem. But as I got older, it got worse. So because I kept having to ask people to repeat things, I went ahead and had my hearing tested. I have a moderate-severe hearing loss and I can hear some things but I have problems with certain pitches that I can’t hear at all. They’re just really hard to hear. For instance, my grandson talks so low that I have to crank my hearing all the way up to hear him.

    Miracle-Ear is the closest one around and as far as I know, they have one of the best hearing aids. So, I bought from them and I have my hearing aids for five years now. I have the behind-the-ear model as I don’t like anything in my ear and we had all the problem with the ear buds. They had to find the tiniest one they could to get them in my ears, because it irritated me. I also love Miracle-Ear's reps. They're right there when I need them. I lost one of the buds off one of my hearing aids and after I called them, I went in and they fixed it. They do everything super fast and I’ve never had to wait. Hearing aids, in general, are expensive. I wanted to get a set of the newer ones which are smaller than these and you can use your smart phone to do things on it. But the cost is about $8,000 and it scares me. But I can hear now because of my Miracle-Ear. I was having problems before I had them, so they have changed my life for the better.

    I’ve been well-pleased with the service, with the reps, and with the work they’ve done on my hearing aids. Michelle, the lady we go to at the Miracle-Ear at Anderson is doing the best she can with them. She sees me every three months and cleans and services them. But the quality of the hearing aids is lacking. I’m not very happy with Miracle-Ear right now. I’m having problems with my hearing aids. The right hearing aid is getting problems now and she had to turn it all the way up. When I wear it, it just makes a buzzing sound and you can’t hear after that. The left one is also having problems clicking and carrying on, and it quit.

    This is the second set that I’ve had with the same problem and I’m outta warranty. I’m not wearing them right now and if I continue to wear them, it’s gonna cost me about $600 to fix them. I don’t have that kind of money. I paid $6,000 for the hearing aids and I've had them for maybe five years. For that kind of money, it really doesn’t sound like it's too good of a value.

    I figured that any place that has been around for as long as I can remember is probably a pretty good quality place. Miracle-Ear had been around for a long period of time and there was one right in town that I was living in at the time. In Rotterdam, New York, I worked with Christina and she was wonderful. The style I got goes behind my ear and mainly, I was trying to understand my grandkids. Anybody talking softly would become a little bit more difficult to understand as well.

    I definitely hear much better with the grandkids now. In most everyday experiences, it was actually good with everything in the house as well. The number one complaint anybody who's wearing hearing aids has is that in certain situations, like in a bar scene, the background noise tends to overwhelm the conversation. Depending on where I'm at, it still can. Miracle-Ear tweaked my hearing aids and that has probably helped. But you know you're not gonna be 100% no matter what and that's the reality of the situation. Still, when I compare what I have gained to not having any at all, it speaks lines. For 95% of the situations, it's quite normal hearing and I'm very satisfied with Miracle-Ear.

    My hearing loss kept getting worse and the main thing was not understanding what people were saying. I had gone to three different hearing aid companies and had hearing tests. Then, I decided to do another one and I heard of Miracle-Ear, so I decided to go there. The first ones I had gone to recommended getting hearing aids but when I went to Miracle-Ear, the guy said that he couldn't recommend a hearing aid at that time. He said that my hearing was not bad enough and that it would eventually get there, but not at the time. So, he discouraged me from getting a hearing aid and it was a good year before my hearing finally got worse. That was when he thought it would be a good idea, so, I appreciated that honesty.

    So far, I’ve had three different kinds of hearing aids. I had an in-the-canal that I really did not like. It shut off too much of the ambient background noise. Then I went to one model and it was just for my left ear where I was only having a problem with. After that, I went to one model and it was better. Then my right ear finally got so bad that I got another one for that ear, too, but it was a slightly different model. Finally, just before the warranty of the hearing aid for my right ear went out, I decided to get a new set that matched and did all the things that my hearing aids now do.

    The overall functionality of the ones I got now is pretty good. The one thing that it was supposed to do was to help me hear on cellphones and we put magnets on the back of the cellphone case. But I found that I had a very difficult time positioning the phone to the point where the hearing aids would turn that feature on and I could hear out of both ears. It never worked right, so I would like to see that technology improved to the point where that would work. Other than that, the Miracle-Ear dealer that handled everything has been wonderful and he gives me great customer service. He listens to what I say and can understand what I’m trying to describe to him. He is also very capable of adjusting everything to the point where I hear and understand the words better.

    Hearing aids are asininely expensive but I hear better because of them, so my life is improved. On the other hand, my wife has a different brand of hearing aids and she does not hear well with them. She misses when I’m talking and what I’m saying a lot. But it’s too expensive to go in and get Miracle-Ear hearing aids. She’s been tested because I took her in to my dealer and he did the hearing test. He told us what it would take to get her hearing up to where it should be and it’s too expensive, so we’re dealing with her old, not nearly as good, set of hearing aids because of that.

    Miracle-Ear's hearing aids would be a whole lot easier to take and they would sell a lot more hearing aids if their prices were more reasonable. Still, I participate in conversations better with my Miracle-Ear because I’m understanding the words that people are saying and I don’t respond inappropriately because I misunderstood what was being said. I like being able to control the volume and the direction of the microphones which I have on the hearing aids. But I can also hear better in restaurants and in auditorium kind of settings.

    My husband’s hearing loss was really bad, so everything in our house was loud. When he got his hearing aids and turned everything down, I couldn’t hear a lot of stuff. I have a hard time hearing when there’s a crowd, and there’s a lot of different talking going on. I decided maybe I needed hearing aids too, but I didn’t want to get as bad as my husband. He was so bad that he's withdrawn from talking to people, and I didn’t wanna get to that point before I got hearing aids. Six months after my husband got hearing aids from Miracle-Ear, I got mine. It goes behind the ear and it helps me pick out different people talking.

    The reps have been good and I have recommended Miracle-Ear to people. I also like the way that we just go back in every four months, and they check them and see if there is anything. I don’t have to wait ’til I have a problem. If you have been having a problem, you can tell them, and you don’t have to wait ’til it gets bad enough to make an appointment, and then go in and do it. We live away from the city, so someone comes once every other week, so you have to be available then. It’s not that big a deal, but sometimes it is. I’m just glad he comes to our community, and we don’t have to go the 50 or 100 miles to see him, so that’s nice.

    I was involved in a motorcycle accident and it impaired my hearing. I have partial hearing loss, more in one ear than the other, but it's enough to be annoying to the people that I'm talking to. I know Heather Hellberg personally as she does business with our radio station. I own a group of radio stations in the town where I live. So, I supported her because she's supporting us and I went and got hearing aids from Miracle-Ear. I have the one that has the Bluetooth with my phone which was the reason why I got it. I can talk to the people while I'm driving down the road and it's great. Aside from that, Miracle-Ear's reps were excellent.

    But if I happen to be sweating or I'm out doing something then I sweat and it kinda runs down behind my ears and gets on the hearing aids, they would short out. And if they even get a little bit wet, they'll short out. Then, I have to take the battery out, dry them out, cool down and put them back in. So, they're very sensitive to moisture and it's a problem. They need to be a little bit more water resistant than they are and if they can fix that, I'll buy a new pair. Other than that, I would recommend Miracle-Ear to others. As a matter of fact, I'm doing a testimony for them on the radio.

    I have partial hearing loss. I heard some good things about Miracle-Ear and I had seen the advertising on TV. They offered a free evaluation. My brother has hearing aids and he isn't particularly happy with the company, so I thought I’d give Miracle-Ear a try. I started out with the in-the-ear hearing aid but right now, I have their behind-the-ear one. That was suggested when I needed to change hearing aids. I gave them a try and liked them. It’s more convenient. I didn't have to get a mold made for the hearing aid to fit the ear and they are comfortable.

    The hearing aid is pretty good. I still have a little bit of difficulty hearing like when I listen to the weather, I have trouble with whether the weather guy is saying 50 or 60. I’ve confused that quite a few times. But as far as being able to hear better, there has definitely been a huge improvement. Miracle-Ear has definitely has made a difference. Instead of standing there and just agreeing with everything people are saying, I’m able to hear what they're talking about and am able to contribute to the conversation. A lot of times before I had my hearing aids, rather than come back with an answer that’s totally not even related to what they're talking about, I would just agree with what they were saying. Now, I actually understand.

    Customer service has also been pretty good to get along with. Any time I have a problem, it's never been a problem to just drop in. They’ve always taken time to see what was going on. I have my appointments every six months and everything’s going good that way. But I'm a little bit concerned about the turnover of employees servicing our area. From the time that I first got hearing aids up until now, I had gone through eight or nine different guys that did the fitting. I don’t know why that is.

    This is the 3rd or 4th set of Miracle-Ear hearing aids that I have been involved with. They cost me thousands of dollars, but these are the best of any that I’ve ever had. I love them. They schedule every few months to come in and clean the hearing aids to be sure there are no problems. This is good deal. I also have had wonderful service with Julie, the guru at the Miracle-Ear in Albany. She is the best technician that I’ve ever been associated with. She’s very knowledgeable. She knows what she’s doing. She’s got me hooked up with my iPhone and that’s the reason I can hear people when they call on my cellphone.     I decided to go with Miracle-Ear because they're good. Anytime I have a problem, I call them. I go there, and they fix it. They never refuse to do anything for me, and they are always willing to perform whatever I need to be performed. The only problem I've got is sometimes, they're not sticking exactly in my ear and they're falling out. I've got the one where the top is over the ear then the other part goes in the ear. I have an appointment for Wednesday so I can probably ask them if they could change to another model so that when I put it in, it wouldn't be coming out all the time.

    Miracle-Ear had a local office here so I got hearing aids from them. However, they didn't do what I wanted them to do. Everything's louder, but I still can't understand people's conversations. The speech pattern is off as much as anything else. Young people or children or women don't talk like they did 50 years ago. Everything's fast, fast, fast, and I just don't pick it up. Even when I watch TV, I could understand some people just fine but I got absolutely no idea what the others are saying. The main reason I got it is so I can understand my grandchildren, and I still can't understand half of what they say. Everything was fine with the reps but we've had it adjusted a couple of times and it just doesn't really do it.

    My Miracle-Ear hearing aid bugs me. I have to force myself to wear it and I don’t wear it as much as I should. Part of it is behind-the-ear and part of it is in-the-ear, and it's uncomfortable. My hair rubs on it and the friction makes a scratchy sound. I was wondering if I should use one that’s behind-the-ear or find something that would be less annoying. If I wear it, it mostly works but sometimes, I still can’t hear. I hear some much better but my husband is not wearing hearing aids and he can still hear better than I do, like if we’re watching the same movie. The people are very nice and they try to be the most helpful they can. It’s just I've had higher hopes of it helping me to hear a lot better.
