    I have the one that goes behind the ear. The little tubes staying inside the ear canal is not comfortable to me. Also, the wires that comes from the hearing aid to inside the canal can be a little bit longer, and the fitting can be improved because they just don't stay in my ears. Robert, the guy that I've been working with for the past couple of years, understands my frustration. He has tried to work with me and he did all the adjustments that he could do, but they're limited on the sizes of the tube. He said they only come in three different sizes. People have different size ears and ear canals and Miracle Ear needs to have various different sizes for the low-end hearing aids. They need to make more adjustments to better accommodate each person to where those hearing aids can stay in the ear canal.

    I like the hearing aids very much and I enjoy them. I can hear well and I can change the setting if I need to. Also, if I have any problems, I can go in so many times to get them cleaned. They check your hearing. I would rather go to Miracle-Ear than anywhere. It costs a little bit more, but it’s convenient. Their services are well worth it.

    Miracle-Ear's hearing aids were slimmer. Also, they had Wi-Fi and I could hear better with them. I tried out a pair that was half the price. They were supposed to work as well, but they didn't. They were muffled. I had tinging in my ears. I had to return them. I went to my ENT and I tried a chargeable one. They were a bit bigger. The charge didn't last as long. They were a comparable price, but they were bulkier. And they just didn't meet my satisfaction. Also, every time I went in to have them checked, I would have to pay a fee. My insurance pays for my annual hearing tests, so that's not an issue. And I don't mind having to pay. But every three months to have them cleaned or blown out, I would have to pay that additional cost. So, I just said, “Even though Miracle-Ear's are a bit more expensive, maybe they're expensive 'cause they include this cost." Also, I can always make an appointment when I need it. They're right down the road.

    I have one ear canal that’s a little bigger than the other. So, the rep put an 8 on one and a 10 on the other. The 10 is snug so it starts to irritate me by the end of the day. And then, the 8 is too loose on that ear so it would slide out. So, I need a 9 and Miracle-Ear doesn't make that. But I'm really happy. My husband is happy too because I can hear him.

    A friend of mine bought a set of Miracle-Ear hearing aids and said he couldn't live without them. So I went and bought a set even though they were pricey. Both the guy that runs the Miracle-Ear at Prescott and the guy before were very nice to deal with. I got the self-charge going. You put in the thing at night. So, they're convenient. And so far, they stay in my ears good because I live a rough-and-ready life. I hear birds. I didn’t get to hear birds because of the frequency. And mine are hooked up to my cellphone so I hear in my ears now, and people think, “What’s that fool talking to?” However, there are a lot of cheap hearing aids on the market. You go to Walmart and get one. And Miracle-Ear had me convinced that they scheduled my hearing aid for my hearing. Whereas the $600 Walmart variety is an amplifier rather than adjusted to your own person.

    Miracle-Ear sent me a card saying that I could get a hearing exam for free. And because of my income, they were able to get my hearing aids for free for me.

    The reps are very professional and progressive. They take the time to talk to me and check my hearing. Every four months, they test my hearing. They got a computer that they hook up to my hearing aids to see how they're working and if my hearing has gotten worse or better. I listen to a lot of music, and I especially appreciate the hearing aids when I'm listening to music.

    I went with the inexpensive Genius 2.0 Miracle-Ear hearing aid and it fits fine. The functionality of it is good. It helps me not to miss conversations. I'm satisfied with my experience with them but last year, they were charing 199. This year, it costs 399. I asked what happens if something goes wrong and I don't have it fixed. The rep said it was gonna be 250 an ear. I wouldn't do this again cause they're overpriced.

    I just had a checkup on the hearing aids and there was a person who tried to do some adjustments on them. Listening to the TV was not as good as it was at the very beginning. When there's music in the background I don't hear it. If people are whispering where I can normally near with the new hearing aids it's fin but I'm gradually growing dissatisfied with them. I'm a veteran and I can go to the VA and get hearing aids. Also, I have friends who have an MD through Audiology and they're willing to work with customers. They're not gonna cost $7,000 to get new hearing aids. Miracle-Ear is a big company and they need to make that kind of money to stay in business but they're overrated.

    I love the man that introduced me to Miracle-Ear and hooked me up with my hearing aids. He was very knowledgable and happy to talk to me about anything. But he's not in the area in Burlington anymore. I spend a little bit of time with the man that runs the office now and he's not very personable. I'd rather have the man who introduced me to Miracle-Ear. Also, I still like the company I was with before I moved to them but Miracle-Ear is good.     Miracle-Ear is more local. They give a little more service and Monica at where I go is excellent. She's just pleasant and she doesn't rush out. She would fix the hearing aid until you're happy. If I need it to be cleaned, they clean it then off I go. Before I had Miracle-Ear and I would be in a group of people, it was hard for me to hear. With the hearing aid, I can hear fine now in a crowd and if it's noisy, I put on the noise reduction and it's perfect. It's comfortable too. You don't even know they're there.

    Miracle Ear is a lot better than the other ones I had. I had Beltone prior to that and they were horrible. I saw the Miracle Ear, and a friend of mine, Buddy, had gotten them. He said they work really well for him, so I went to see Vicki. She was the one we used in Warsaw and she's very good at what she does. She's really concerned, and I have no complaints. Also, my hearing aids are functional. They work well and I can hear a lot better than I could before. I still have some issues, but no matter whose you have, you're gonna have some problems.

    Miracle-Ear's customer service has been great. They do a lot of follow-up. I didn't realize, even when I was making the purchase, that there would be adjustments and cleanings.     The people in the office were very friendly. Very nice. My hearing loss is not that bad, but my hearing aids help if there are a lot of people sitting at a table and I want to hear the conversation. Miracle Ear is a good thing. I don't regret getting it because it has helped me. A lot of people say they can't hear very well, so they don't want to participate. That's a shame because you need to live and to be surrounded by things you can hear.

    After I had my free evaluation and they put the machines on me, my wife and the doctor that did the analysis on me were down the hall talking to me and I could hear them like they were sitting right next door. I heard them saying, “Come find me.” I went out of the room, looked to my left, which was to the lobby of the office, and they weren't there. Then I looked down the hall to my right and they were 15 feet down the hall from the room that I was in. I literally came to tears and I couldn’t believe the difference with the hearing aids versus before. I was absolutely fascinated by the results.

    I got the rechargeable units with the small wire on them and the insert goes into the ear and I’ve been very satisfied with them. I liked the idea that I didn't have to change batteries. They are very comfortable when I wear them. I don't feel that I have them on. Also, they can't really be seen. In the initial getting used to, they told me that if the background noise from behind me would seem louder, I'd just turn my head so I was aiming them at who I was concentrating on in hearing. The system has been great with the front facing and the rear facing microphones. The overall functionality for me has been life-changing. I’m no longer asking my wife what they say on television so it’s definitely been a major improvement.

    With the pandemic, I just have to stop wearing them more often because I was having an issue when I go out with my mask. I was always catching the unit on the string of my mask and almost pulling it out of my ear. My last checkup was a month or so ago and they were all fine. I was told that I couldn’t just stop wearing them. I knew that, but I wasn’t going anywhere to hear anybody, so I wasn't wearing them a lot. Every follow up appointment I've had with the sales team has been fantastic, cordial, and very accommodating. If I have to, for whatever reason, back out, there's never been any problem with the rescheduling. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or Miracle-Ear to anybody.

    I had a genetic predisposition to hearing loss. I was also having trouble hearing that's why I went to see Vicki. She wasn't with Miracle-Ear when I started with her. My mom went to this lady in Warsaw and got along well with her hearing aids so I went there. A few years later, Vicki bought the other lady out, she was ready to retire. Then the hearing aids I had before were sent in a couple of times to get repaired. I'd just take them up to Vicki and she'd send them in, and I'd get them back in a week. The service was pretty good and it was a lot cheaper than buying brand new ones. But then, I got to the point of having to do brand new ones.

    The only downside to the Miracle-Ear is the app that I have. I downloaded it when I got these hearing aids a year and a half ago and I used it a little bit. I'd get where I need to be a lot faster, just pushing the buttons to the different program. With my other one, it was Bluetooth-enabled, but it wasn't with the app on the phone. I had to wear a little necklace thing that was the microphone. Then I always got a notification when I got a text on my phone with the other one and I couldn't get that now. People texted me and I didn't know when I got it. But I've recommended several people going up there to Vicki. I've been very pleased with her and how she operates.

    Miracle-Ear had everything. And once I bought the hearing aids, it felt forever. That's why I take it back a lot. I take it back when they're in my ears for a while. I start to get itchy. I take them out a bit because it gets sore in there. Maybe Miracle-Ear can do something with the hearing aids when they're in your ears. But they try to fix and make them right. It doesn't cost me anything. Where we go, the people are good. They do everything for me.

    The first hearings aids I had, the battery is in. Now, it has a charger. I put it on in the morning, and before I go to bed, I put it back, and then it fixes everything. Even if we go to some place where there's a band, it slows down, and all you gotta do is put it in there and it fixes it. It comes back to where it should be.

    I tell people if they are gonna get one, they might as well get one. It's more expensive, but it's worth it.

    I had my hearing tested and found that I have significant loss in all ranges but specifically higher frequencies! The technician programmed a demo set and put them in my ears! The difference was so noticeable, especially when she took them out!! It sounded like she had put cotton in my ears!! I am excited to get my new set next week! I think it will change my life!!

    I have been wearing hearing aids for several years, but was not hearing well and the clarity of voices were not the best.     Miracle-Ear fits okay. Sometimes it falls out a lot. It doesn't fit all that well. The little wire piece that hangs out sometimes comes out. But it works very well. I can hear the TV better. It's more articulate. I'm able to listen to my wife when she talks because she talks very softly. So, I can hear her more coherently. I like it because I can hear. I can hear some of the responses I wasn't able to before at the lower level. I don't wear it outside a lot because with the wind, it whistles a bit and it makes things hard to hear. But other than that, most of the time I wear it at home. Because of the expense of it, I also hate to drop it or lose it somewhere.

    I switched over to Miracle-Ear because of the crossover technology. I had significant hearing loss in my right ear but my left ear was fine.     I like my hearing aid very much. The agent, Jimmy, is about one of the nicest persons I've ever met. My wife got the hearing aids first then I got it.     I wish I would have read the reviews before I purchased the hearing aids. The left one worked part of the time, and they were difficult to put in my ears. So when I returned them within the 30 days I was charged $300.00 restocking fee. Talk about a con operation. I will be looking elsewhere.

    My hearing is almost completely gone. Unless I see the person I'm talking to, it’s bad. I've gotten a couple of kinds of hearing aids, and they helped for a while then I decided to try Miracle Ear. The cost is terrible. I see on TV where supposedly I can get these things through Walmart. They’re so much cheaper and work well. I don't know if that’s true or not though. Another thing is that I have the one that hooks around my ear and I have glasses. If I have glasses and hearing aids, it’s almost impossible to wear a mask.

    The customer service has been great. I appreciate them following up as much as they have. I got a birthday invitation to come out and have a free cleaning. I told them that I was not doing well, and they gave me an appointment card to come back. This free call was for a cleaning. I have an appointment with them in a couple of weeks. Overall, I have been satisfied, but since my hearing is getting worse, I’m not satisfied. However, the manager was so good as to meet with me and my daughter, whom he went to school with. Upon his suggestion, I bought this thing that's connected to my TV where I can hear the TV fine. That’s one thing I was proud of.

    When I first contacted Miracle-Ear, I was having not just hearing, but I was also having ringing and air blowing, which I don't have anymore. I don't think it has anything to do with the hearing aid. It's just something that I was having for a little time in only one ear.     Miracle-Ear is pretty close to me. It's within two miles so if I have any problems, I can always go over there. Everything's been excellent with their reps. Whenever I have a problem, I just stop in and they'll take care of it even without an appointment. I got the hearing aids that go over my ear and in my ear, and it fits very well. The only thing is it’s very expensive. I think they should not be as much money as what they're charging for. I have two hearing aids and they were $6,000. That's a lot of money. But the hearing aids are working very good. I can listen to the TV. I can mute the TV and I can hear very good.

    A friend of mine recommended Miracle-Ear and the doctor that handles my case is wonderful. She's met every one of my needs and exceeded everything that I could’ve expect.     My brother-in-law went to Miracle-Ear and he got good service out of them so I went. I almost fell over when they told me how much the hearing aids were going to be. But so far, cost-wise, they're fair. Also, they're pretty easy to use once you get used to them.     I had visited a couple of ear specialists. I went to Miracle-Ear and the hearing aids felt so good. They were the first ones the rep gave me to test. They happened to be the most expensive one at $8,000 but the sound is so much improved. I can hear a range of sounds that I was unable to hear before. I've had them now for about three years and I go everywhere with them. I love them so I'm gonna take good care of them. The service is also fantastic. If I ever have a problem, and I have had a couple of minor problems, I call Miracle-Ear for an adjustment and I get in in an hour.     We got my dad the hearing aids that are behind the ear. He's 91 and could hear minimally. Communication was extremely difficult. We worked with a gal and we were comfortable with her.     I got a postcard in the mail offering a free hearing test for me and a friend. That test was very satisfactory for me because I had been experiencing some hearing loss. I was told “You’ve lost 40% of your hearing in your left ear. When are you going to get hearing aids? If you keep delaying this, it's going to get worse at a faster rate because the little hairs in your ears won’t be stimulated.” My medical doctor had never given me advice that I felt was as good as what I got from Miracle-Ear.

    My great aunt had these big obvious fleshy plastic hearing aids on her ears. Those would make me look very old and vulnerable. But with Miracle-Ear, they were much better than I expected them to be. I got some of the higher-end hearing aids that lots of people don't even notice or they think I'm using Bluetooth. One thing, however, is if I wear them all day, they get slightly uncomfortable and a little bit itchy. But at the same time, there are lots of times when I get ready to go to bed and I forget I've got them in.

    Miracle-Ear is more expensive. I have the ability to pay for them but many people may not have that capacity. I got the Bluetooth hearing aids so that I get TV and my phone calls through my hearing aids which is absolutely amazing. But as far as the aids hearing beautifully, we can't control that. The next best thing is getting good-quality hearing aids that work. I went with the top of the line. I like the fact that I have it for monthly cleaning and checkup and I have the annual hearing tests built in. I like my representatives very much too. I had contact with two. I was first in Kingston, New York then I was in Clifton Park, New York. Both of them have been really lovely people.

    A while ago, Miracle-Ear changed the ear wires that sit over your ear and they're not as comfortable as the ones I had before. In fact, my representative had to get me different ones. They weren't going in and sitting comfortably inside my ears and over my ears. They got thinner ones, which they thought was better for people with glasses. But I don't find them nearly as satisfactory as the ones they had one to two years ago.

The only thing is I'm not going to them anymore. I had to change to HearingLife because I lost one of my hearing aids, and my insurance won't cover it. It wouldn’t pay for it when it's Miracle-Ear.     I've heard good things about Miracle-Ear from different people and it seemed like it was top-of-the-line. My only negative with them is they don't always have a technician on to get the problem taken care of right away. I needed a part one time and I couldn't get it for two or three days because their technician went from office to office. They tried to send me over to another office and it didn't have a technician there either. I was disappointed with the service. Thank God I haven't needed it a lot.

    The nature of the hearing aid is it's hard to hear on the phone. I have the kind that fits on top of the ear so when I have a phone, I always have to take my hearing aid out. With the hearing aid in, I can't hear because the unit itself is blocking my ear. I have to almost put the phone on the top of my ear. Then if I do that, the people can’t hear I'm talking. But since having it, I don't have to put the TV as loud. It's a good product, just the service isn’t great.

    A friend of mine goes to church with the lady that works at the Miracle-Ear I went to. I need a hearing aid so I went to her and she was a great lady. When I first went to the store, she was not there. There was a man that waited on me. He was very good. I had tried other places like Costco and tried their devices, and they hadn't worked for me. When I went to Miracle-Ear, the guy put the things on me, he went out of the room, he went down the hall, and I could still hear him for quite a distance. I thought, “This works. If I can hear that far, then they must be working pretty good.” So, I got them.

I felt like the cost was much higher than I expected it to be, but I don't know that I would have gotten the care someplace else.     Miracle-Ear is a good hearing aid, but there were times I felt like I could hear better and times that I couldn't. My issue to get it adjusted is the acoustics in the room where they would do the adjustments was terrible. The ceilings were high and seemed like everything was bouncing off the wall. Starting out, I don't think my hearing aids were adjusted high enough for that reason. I would turn it back down because the sound was so great. In other rooms, it might have been different.

    It's a little extra expensive but if they had a room just for that adjustment where the acoustics are better, that would help. They should work on the acoustics so that they would have a better idea of what it's going to sound like in most normal settings. Almost anywhere you go (outside, indoors, and in your home, especially), you're not going to have that weird acoustical thing going on with the sounds bouncing. Other than that, I've had the best customer service. I liked the people I dealt with at the beginning as well as now. When I first got started, it was good service and they were attentive and caring.

    The Miracle-Ear product itself is fine and it works well. The last appointment that I had was very helpful. The gentleman was excellent. I’m using them now more than I did for the previous six months. I was having issues with the hearing aids but I wasn't able to get ahold of anybody. The experience has been better. It's just that Miracle-Ear seems like a fly-by-night operation. It doesn't feel like it's a real established company that I’m working with.

    There should be more communication in terms of what's going on with the company and when they are changing hands. It's expected that there would be some complications.     I've been a substitute teacher for nine years and before my retirement, I worked as an officer in a maximum prison for five years and a half. Age had to do with my hearing loss. But it went downhill so badly from working in that prison because of the noise level. When I was subbing, I was amazed at how much I had learned to read lips. The clincher was I became a grandfather. My daughter told me, “Dad, you've got to do something about your hearing. Honestly, I’m afraid to leave Allison with you alone. And you're gonna miss out on so much with her when she starts talking.”

    Aside from that, I was tired of having to have people repeat stuff all the time. I also do a lot of exercises and I would go out with my friends. They would be like, “Gosh, listen to those birds.” I'd be thinking to myself, “I don't hear any birds.” I was in denial about how bad my hearing had gotten. I didn’t realize how much stress it was putting on me. I was gonna do something about it.

    I took up the offer on a deal for a hearing loss check which was quite extensive and I went from there. It took a while to get used to the hearing aids. They're extremely noticeable but most people say they don't realize I have them. It looks like the typical hearing aid, a little pear-shaped item that goes behind the ear and rests on the ear with that little wire that goes into the ear canal. The functionality is top-notch. I can now hear the television without upsetting my wife when I turn it up. You hear things that you didn't realize you didn't hear anymore. It's incredible. My wife and I take quite a few nature walks every week. The sounds like the rustling of the leaves and the birds in the distance are wonderful. I expected a tinny sound and everything you hear about grandpa's old hearing aids and the squeal when somebody gets near you but I've had none of that.

    The hearing aids were very expensive but for the service you get and the quality, Miracle-Ear is like a Cadillac compared to a Chevrolet. A lot of people go to Costco because they have a cheap hearing aid but the reports I get aren't nearly as good as Miracle-Ear. I've had excellent quality with Miracle-Ear. They provide excellent service too. They know me by first name. It's a husband and wife team at Miracle-Ear here on the Oregon Coast and they're awesome.

    Miracle-Ear is half a mile from my house. I live in La Vista and they are right off 72nd and Giles. I made an appointment and it went fine. I got a behind-the-ear model and it's very good. And I really like the people I worked with. They were very nice. The rep who I come in contact with is very knowledgeable and congenial, and answered all my questions. If I had an issue, he fixed it. I like it. I hope he stays there a long time because I'll send people to him.

    There are a lot of places where you can buy the hearing-aids. I've heard other people say, "Very expensive. I don't wear them anymore. Blah, blah, blah." I was apprehensive. But they work well for me. Plus, I could finance part of it with no interest. I have insurance, but I still needed to pay $1,000. And they put me on this payment plan which is two years. No interest. I liked that too. A lot of places you just have to pay for it. And a lot of people don't have that kind of money. My insurance paid more than half, but that's okay. That's great that I have that. But even the difference, I was able to get that immediately. I love that rather than my first thought was, "Oh, gosh. I'm gonna pay $1,000," and not even knowing. If you don't have insurance, you have to pay that ton of money.

    My Miracle Ear is the one that goes in the ear. The issue I have with it is the contraption that's supposed to hold it in your ear. The little support wires keep popping out of the channels in my ear and it looks like I got an antenna sticking out. Other than that, it seemed to be the most comfortable and the quality is good. When I'm in a crowd, I can hear better, so it makes conversing with people easier. I don't have to act like I heard the conversation and sometimes, it was embarrassing to keep asking people, “What did you say?” The reps have been good as well.

    We tried one other place and we weren’t happy with that one at all. Then we made appointment with Miracle-Ear which was right down the road. Having the experiences that I’ve had with hearing aids, I kinda knew what I needed and what I would be most comfortable with. They were very accommodating to me. They were very kind too. The rep even complimented me on the fact that it’s nice to have somebody that knows how to put one in your ear. When she gave them to me to try, she wanted me to try the ones that went way down in the ear but I was not real comfortable with that. I told her I was used to the ones that I have right now which are molded in my ears.

    The hearing aids are fine except I do sweat profusely. I live in Florida so that doesn't help a lot either. If I don't have to put them in for the day, I don't because that way, it'll help save them getting all clogged up. When I do, I can take them right down the road and they're there to clean them out and fix them up for me. Every time I've needed something, they've been right there. They're very attentive. I go to Michigan in the summer and I have a place up there that I go to when I have a problem. They've been very good.

    My only thing that I have with these is that the batteries die so quickly. Normally, my batteries have lasted five to seven days but these only last like a couple of days. That doesn’t make me real happy. I have to purchase the batteries and it gets kind of costly trying to get them all the time. Other than that, I'm fine. The hearing aids are made in a better quality. I recommend them to other people and I'm real happy with them.

    I went through the Miracle-Ear Foundation. When I set the third appointment, they called me to verify. I told them I couldn't afford the hearing aids and the fellow on the phone asked if I knew about the Miracle-Ear Foundation. For people that have a low income at a certain level, they can get the hearing aids. I got the application and I filled it out, and I qualified. All I had to pay was 150. They call that the application fee. That's steep but that money goes back into the foundation so they can keep giving people hearing aids. The hearing aids that I have aren't cheap. They don't give you just the cheapo. They're about $7,000 for the pair.

    Everything's been good. If I call them up and tell them something’s not right, they'll get me in. I've gone in for whatever I need and I get it. They’re very cheerful. I also have the app on my phone. They downloaded it for me. If I don't want to mess with the buttons, I just have my app and I could do all kinds of things with the bass and treble. I can also turn the volume up or down.

    I tried other providers first but none of them could offer the quality of sound I was getting with Miracle Ear. It's very good. The original batteries worked well then I got the new ones from Amazon. They didn't work as well as the ones from Costco. My biggest gripe has been music. It's hard to get the music to sound the way it's supposed to sound. I went back several times trying to get that corrected. The one guy that I deal with, Doug, has been very patient with me coming back repeated times to get it to where it is. It's still not perfect but it's better. The hearing aids are not perfect replacement for sound, but it's probably as good as I can get. I can distinguish individual speeches better. It's a little pricey and it's not fully covered by insurance which bothered me but it's a good value for money.

    Before contacting Miracle-Ear, my hearing was very bad. I couldn't hardly hear at all. I did not like the first hearing aids that I got. They didn't last long. They were the type you had to carry a little container in your pocket to control the volume. But the ones I got now are fine. They have batteries and all I do is change batteries when they go down. These are very good. I've had a little problem with them, but the specialist was gonna send them back and get them repaired. Anytime I had a problem and I went to the specialist right away, if she couldn't correct it, she would send them off and get them repaired.

    I like Miracle-Ear. It's made a difference. They're expensive, but they're worth it. I got the ones with the Bluetooth. I like being able to control the sound that when I go to a meeting, I can aim the sound towards the front where I don't have all the people around me, hearing too much.     A friend mentioned Miracle-Ear. They had used their product and were happy with it. There's a Miracle-Ear in Katy, Texas. We were interviewed and we tested the hearing aids at that shop. And the insurance I had at the time covered them. The reps handled the questions. And if I've had an issue with the hearing aids, they've been happy to fit me in. Except with the COVID, there was a bit of a delay with this last testing. But that was understandable under the circumstances. The hearing aid is very simple to use.     I've been wearing hearing aids for 12 to 15 years. I prefer Miracle-Ear to the other ones I had before. These hearing aids are in my ear and half the time, I forget that they are there. They don't bother me and they work just fine. The only problem I have with them now is because of these masks we have to wear. When I take the mask off, half the time, I pull the hearing aid out. Other than that, I like them very much. They do what they're supposed to do and they're very comfortable.

    So far, the performance of my hearing aids has been fine. My wife doesn't yell at me for going “What” all the time so it gets me around home a lot better. I wish I had gotten the hearing aids where I can Bluetooth to my phone and to the television. With my health insurance, I can upgrade my hearing aids every four years.     I heard about Miracle-Ear from a friend who has hearing aids from them. The reps were very helpful and generous with their information. This is the second set I have. The first set, I had a little problem with the adjustment on them and returned them. But they talked me into another set, which was quite expensive. That was $8,000. But the difference between the gain and the price wasn't warranted. I'm still having trouble with them. They charge themselves. It's my lifestyle that doesn't allow me to charge it at the right time all the time. Also, the self-charging battery doesn't last long enough. I always sleep late at night. They start shutting down an hour before I go to bed. Otherwise, the quality of the products is good.

    I couldn’t hear anymore. My wife called it selective hearing, but it wasn’t. It was just my hearing level is way, way down. There’s a Miracle-Ear in Lafayette, Louisiana, where I live at and I saw the sign. I went in there and I saw what I wanted. I thought they were a little pricey, but I decided to buy them, and they showed them to me and I was thoroughly impressed.

    These people have been so great. Every time I go in here, it doesn't matter if I have an appointment or not, I put my name on the list, and I'm taken care of. One of the aids went out, and they actually replaced the set. Whenever something goes wrong, if they don’t work or if I need to get them cleaned, I walk in there and there’s never any charge. When they had to send a set away to get it repaired-- if it ain’t repaired, they replace it-- it took them about a week and all that. But I can understand that ‘cause they don't make them right here in Lafayette. Other than that, there's no problems at all that I find.

    My hearing loss occurs where little girls talk in a high tone. With the aids, I can hear fine. I drive a brand new 2021 GMC with one of the best radios I've ever heard. If I take those off my ear, all I hear is the bass part of boo, boo. I can't hear the voices. Miracle-Ear made me whole again. My hearing is where it's supposed to be. I’m 100% satisfied.     I was watching TV and saw publicity about Miracle-Ear. They said that the visit is free, that I don't have to get any hearing aid, and that they're going to clean if I have ear wax. I called and set an appointment. I went and that day, the doctor told me the cleaning thing has not been done at that time. He could tell that with the way I was talking, I needed aids. I said I didn't have any problem hearing. He said that I talked louder than normal. Every time someone talks like that, it means he talks loudly according to what he hears.

    He set the examination with me and told me that I got a 75, 78% hearing, which was good. But I need to take care of it because if I don't, it's going to decrease gradually. He told me they have hearing aids that I could purchase. I said I was not ready at that time because my insurance would not cover the cost of it. He told me that he got a payment plan program so he put me into that. I struggled to pay, but I'm finished with it. I'm glad that I don't have to monthly payment anymore.

    I got the one where I put on the battery all the time and that helped me. When I realized I used the battery too often, I called and they told me to come in for an evaluation. One time, the lady had to send my hearing aid to the company because she said according to the way I was using the battery, something was wrong. They fixed it for me. The other day, I also had a problem with my battery because it was not every six to seven days that I was replacing it, it was every three or four days. I called and went and they also fixed it for me.

    Now with the glasses, the hearing aid, and the mask, I have to keep putting it back, and I don't want it to get contaminated. So, sometimes I don't put it when I go to places that I know I have to wear a mask because I’m afraid to lose it. But whenever I got home, I put it back on. Overall, Miracle-Ear performs nicely. The lady took care of me and told me if anything was wrong, to call, and I've been doing that. I hear better with it and it suits me. I referred it to friends.

    The one that was over at Miracle-Ear here in Douglasville is a church member named Jake. His office was near. After I had an ear doctor evaluate my hearing and I showed it to Jake, he fixed me up and my insurance took over. My insurance company seemed to like Miracle-Ear so I went that way.     I had tried another hearing aid and I wasn't real happy with it. It was an over-the-ear type and it was so awkward with my glasses. The Miracle-Ear hearing aids is a good product but there are so many other products out there that compete against the Miracle-Ear, and the Miracle-Ear is quite expensive.     I received a card in the mail offering me a $100 free restaurant ticket and 50% off the hearing aids. At that time, I was on my second round of hearing aids. I had them for a year and they were working poorly. I thought I would just go and see what it was like with another type. My interactions with the reps have been excellent when I got the original evaluation, and when I then decided to purchase them and had them set up and adjust the hearing aids. And then, the subsequent individuals whom I worked with were both highly knowledgeable about hearing, not just in the technical aspect of the hearing aid function, but how it's necessary to work, interacting with the physiology of sound between the ear and the brain and how the brain perceives and deals with it.

    The initial offer I got as a card in the mail was a 50% offer. The list price on the hearing aids that I got was $10,000. I got them for $5,000. And $5,000 was what I paid for both of my previous hearing aids, which were from supposedly top companies and recommended by university hearing establishment hearing aid service. I am curious as to why I was offered a 50% reduction in the price of them because I would not have bought them for $10,000. But I did for $5,000 even though I bought a pair for $5,000 one year before. At $10,000, I'm concerned about it being too much for most people to be willing to pay. Other than that, Miracle-Ear far exceeds any of my two previous hearing aids in every way. It has made it easier for me to understand and hear the versatility of the hearing aid, including the TV streaming, and some of the different programs enable me to hear much better.

I tried several other in-the-ears and my Miracle-ear hearing aids are far better. The defining factor was I could hear my turn signals clicking. I put the Miracle-Ears on, got up the car, headed up the road, turned my turn signal on and heard them. The first set I got was behind-the-ear. I lost one then I replaced it with the latest behind-the-ear model. They were very helpful working with me to get it replaced but it was a shot.

    I'm hearing better and the hearing aids have made me much more comfortable. Yesterday I had some surgery and I didn't have my hearing aids in. I didn't miss a whole lot because I didn't have a dramatic loss of hearing. It definitely is improved. Some days I don't wear them because it's very tough with masks. I don't want to lose another set of hearing aids and have to spend another $6,600.

    I already had hearing aids from somebody in Baytown but they weren't serving me good. A person that we know had gotten hearing aids from Miracle-Ear, and was all set up, and bragging how well it worked. So my sons and my husband insisted that I go. I did that and now I have the hearing aids. I charge them every night while I’m sleeping, and they work just fine. I am so pleased with Miracle-Ear. They are so good about keeping them up, and they're much better than the first company that I had hearing aids with. Miracle-Ear checks the hearing aids often and I don’t have to pay more for it. I like having the charger to put them on at night, because I was having to buy so many batteries, and then it going off in my ear all the time. But as long as I keep these on the charger at night, I have no issues.

    Back in the 70s, because of the safety feature, we weren’t allowed to wear hearing protection when we were around vibrators. Over a period of years of using heavy equipment and working around very loud vibrators and Caterpillars, my hearing loss was slowly getting worse. We did some checking around, and my wife saw an ad for Miracle Ear in one of the papers. We read through it, discussed it, and set up an appointment with them. Within a short time, they did a hearing exam, and I got my first set of hearing aids. When it came time to replace them, I went back to Miracle Ear because I got such good service. I’ve continued working with them, and I've always been very pleased with the service I've got with the Idaho Falls and the Rexburg office.

    I’m very satisfied with the Miracle Ear product. In fact, in less than six months, I’ll be buying a new set. I’m a firm believer in using their product. If you buy your hearing aids from Miracle Ear, they're going to cost you a little more than from other people that sell similar products. There are also a lot of people out there that tell you that what they're selling will enhance your hearing, and it does to a point. What you have to realize is when you buy those inexpensive ones, they’re more like if you went to Sportsman's Warehouse and bought the ones for hunting that just amplify sound. They make it louder and it's fine if you're out hunting, and you want to hear geese coming in from afar.

    I couldn't afford my hearing aids at that time, but I didn't know I could get financed. I had gone to private doctors and they wanted cash upfront. I went several years where I really needed my hearing aids. When I went to Miracle-Ear, the woman, Mary, was in charge. She told me to see if I could get financed. She put in my application, and I did. It was like a miracle when I got my hearing aids and I was able to work another 15 years.

    When I first got them and put them in your ears, I heard everything. I wear it every single day from morning until night. Its overall performance is good. It just has some drawbacks. If I'm in a crowded room and everybody's talking, it's not easy for me to follow all the conversations. I had them upgraded about five years ago and that got better.     The hearing aids are doing well. My husband, John, has seen the same people and done Miracle-Ear for 5,000 years or so. He's most happy when he can see Todd. He's been seeing him for a long time and he's sympathetic towards my husband. Todd works with him real well. Lisa is a lady there and she's very friendly. They treat John like family and I love them.

    Whenever he first got them which must have been 22 years ago or so, we were up in our lake home and went for a walk in the woods. I asked, "Do you hear the birds and the leaves rustling?     I've had the second set of hearing aids from Miracle-Ear, so I’ve been satisfied with them. I've worked with two of their reps because I live down in Florida in the winter and then up north in the summer. I’ve had good luck with both of them. They’re efficient and accommodating. When I first got this second set, I had to give them back in a heartbeat. But the guy worked at it and worked at it, and we finally got them squared away. The only thing that I'm not satisfied with so far is the TV adapters that you can hook up to the TV. When I've got that on, I cannot hear my wife or anybody else in the room. So I very seldom ever use it because of the fact that if I've got that on, I can't hear the other people in the room talking. It was explained originally that if somebody else talked, that would override the TV, but it doesn’t.

    We saw an advertisement that Miracle-Ear was running. My wife and my daughters all said that they would excommunicate me if I did not get my ears checked out and get some hearing aids. My dad never got any hearing aids. He served on a battleship during World War II on a gun turret where the big bombs were being sent out. He lost a lot of his hearing at that point. There was total frustration to have to say something to my dad, and he would just look at you and just grin and shake his head but he could not hear us. Finally, my wife and my kids said, “Do you want to be just like he was?” So I went. What Miracle-Ear had advertised was not what I needed but the person who did my testing and everything was so thorough and so good.

    Rodney has been great. I'm so glad that I went with it. I told him a couple times about a couple of problems that I was having with them. He said, “Well, let's try this. Let's try this." I'm a preacher and a lot of times, when I preach, I sweat quite heavy, and one of the hearing aids was going out. The battery was getting wet and it just quit working until I could take it out, dry it off, put it back in, and it will work again. But he's tried different filters. He’s tried different things to try to keep it from getting moisture in it. He has bent over backwards to be accommodating to me and to my needs.

    My wife has a very soft voice and there are still times that we’ll be in the car riding and she'll say something and if she's not turned towards me, I still don't hear her really good. But when we're sitting around the house and we're talking, I'm hearing her, whereas before, I would have to keep saying, “What did you say? What was that again?” I'm not doing that near as much as what I used to. Even some coworkers said, “You're more in tune with what we're saying now than what you had been before.” Some of them didn't even know I had got the hearing aids, so it's been good in that way.     I found a coupon in the paper for Miracle-Ear and the hearing aids were two for 895. It's probably the cheapest one that you could get. I'm going to have my new hearing aids. I had some two years ago but after a year, they both quit working. I had the appointment in summer to get them done but my hearing guy submitted the claim wrong. So, it took a couple months for him and my insurance to figure it out. My insurance company paid the claim so, I'm now waiting for a call from Miracle-Ear telling me I can go pick it up. I may have to contact customer service to inquire on the status. This is just a two-man operation down there and normally, when I call Todd, he's the only ear doctor. He is usually on the phone and I get transferred to a helper and they can't tell me any kind of update on what's going on with my hearing aids. They’ll tell me to send him a message and he’ll get back to me as soon as he can. Todd gets back with me within one or two days.

    I'm very happy with my Miracle-Ear guy, Todd, and his receptionist, Vicki. They're very personable and professional. I have no problems with them and I enjoy going with my appointment and seeing them both. I don't think I'm hearing 100% but it is a little bit better with the hearing aids. I don't have to keep asking people to repeat themselves all the time, which makes me feel bad and they get annoyed.

    I liked Miracle-Ear's pricing. I was also able to get it serviced locally. I have regular-schedule checkups where I go in, and they see if there's anything wrong. They clean them out and replace the buds. They also do an annual hearing test. I had a minor amount of water in there one time. I forgot to take them out during a shower.     Marleen was really thorough. She laid out the pictures and gave me information as I needed, and that's the same way with the follow-up. Also, the aids were the right price for the time. They are really comfortable. I don't even know they're on. Sometimes, I go to bed with them in. I have to get up and go through the process. However, they're rechargeable and they only last about eight to nine hours. I get up at 8:30 in the morning then by the time I get around 4:30 and 6 o'clock in the afternoon, they're already done, and I still have a couple of hours to go before I go to bed.     I’m a little bit frustrated with the fit. The hearing aids seem to not want to stay in the ear. The little piece that fits inside the ear seem to kind of work their way out and I'm pushing them back in quite a bit. They seemed to have a little bit of difficulty with trying to figure out how to take care of that. It’s not terrible, but I would like that to be checked. Otherwise, it’s been fine.     I had tried another product in the past and it didn't work very well. I went to a local provider of Miracle-Ear and talked with Doug. He seemed to be pretty good and he knew what he was doing. I wound up getting them from him. I was going back there for three months and have them checked. I've got a high frequency hearing loss, and a lot of times, I don't wear them because it's only half frequencies that I don't hear. I wear those, I can hear noises.     I'm not really happy with my Miracle-Ear hearing aids, especially in the age of masks behind the ears and glasses. I should have gotten the ones that just poke inside the ear and don't put anything behind the ear. I do wish now that I had gone somewhere else. I moved back to the Midwest to be with my mom and dad to help them. They both passed on now. Dad had Beltone and mom had Miracle-Ear. I live closer to where Miracle-Ear was located, and so, that was the main reason I went with Miracle-Ear. I didn't realize there were other options in the town where they are until after I had purchased.

    The young gal before the one who's in that office now was totally oblivious. She replaced Nicole. Nicole was fantastic and I wish Nicole is still there because she was so good. She had answers for everything and she took care of anything you needed or wanted. This young girl that came in to take her place didn't do anything more than put on the new little cap things and clean them. She had no answers for any of my questions. I was not happy with her at all.

    As far as the hearing aids, these new ones that are hooked through the Bluetooth into my phone and all that kind of stuff are great when they're working but when there's some bug with them and they're not working, they're frustrating. I'm 75 and I have a difficult time dealing with things that don't work the way they're supposed to work. I'm sure that with a lot of us older people, it's annoying and we need to be more flexible.

    Having had my Miracle-Ear now during this whole last year, I would definitely say don't get the ones that go behind your ear. Get the ones that fit in the canal because I may be wearing these masks for the rest of my life. If you wear glasses also, it's still a problem although not as much, until you put the mask behind your ear as well, then you take the mask off, and the hearing aid things come off. I've dropped one in the street before because of them. So, if you have extra money, get that one instead of the one behind the ear. Also, find someplace that has a really good technician like Nicole that knows all the answers and takes the time to answer your questions, and ask questions. Don't go home and then grumble at your wife or husband, ask the question.

    I've received wonderful customer service so far from Miracle-Ear. Even though the office where I go to has had a turnover of receptionists lately, the rep whom I work with now sees that I'm taken care of. Miracle-Ear keeps on top of things and they've gone out of their way whenever there was a problem. There was a time when I had trouble. I have their insurance where I can get free batteries and for some reason, wherever they have the battery sent from couldn't get them to me like they should.     I’ve had great experience visiting Miracle-Ear and the only drawback to wearing those hearing aids is wearing a mask at the same time. As soon as I take a mask off, the hearing aid pops out but I'm aware of that. Other than that, I’m super happy. They're so comfortable that I forget I'm even wearing them. Joanne, the rep, is terrific and Dorothy is the one who checks the hearing aids and looks in my ears. They are wonderful people. I would recommend Miracle-Ear.

    The person that did the hearing aid test for my mother was wonderful. My mother has hearing aids where if you're in a wheelchair, you can hear the person that's behind you. These hearing aids have made a big difference in my mother's life. She's had them for a few years now. But she's been having trouble with them so the aids just got mailed in to have them repaired. This is the second time they've out for repair. My husband went and got hearing aids from a different place and he was not very pleased.     I moved and Miracle-Ear was fairly close to where I was living at the time. The only reason why I got new hearing aids was because at the time, I was driving for a foreigner and I needed new hearing aids. The ones I had weren’t very good. I got a behind-the-ear hearing aid.     I'm not really happy with my Miracle-Ear hearing aids. I have a wonderful person who tries to help me and he fixes as much as he can fix. But come night time, all I hear is buzzing. I have so much ringing and I lose the sound a lot. The hearing aids have definitely helped me but as the day goes, they almost pop out of my ear. I would still recommend Miracle-Ear as they have been very nice but I probably would never buy this middle bracket model of hearing aid again that I was getting a deal on.

    I have trouble hearing I started looking into hearing aids. The quality of Miracle-Ear aids is acceptable. But the accumulation of wax in them causes problems. I go back to the person who I went to initially and he takes care of it. That's the biggest issue. Customer service is very good. The local person I went through was very good. The product is expensive and it doesn't resolve the issue, but it helps a little.

    The people at the office of Miracle-Ear have been really good. They're very professional. I went with the one that's inside the canal because I had talked with several people that told me that they had had the ones that are over-the-ear and they said that whenever they would brush their hair or do something, sometimes, the over-the-ear one would get caught and pulled out of their ear.     The reps at Miracle-Ear are very caring and they always wanna do the follow-ups. It’s excellent dealing with them and the service is good. John’s hearing kept going down. He had 60% and it was down lower than that when a test was done. So, the hearing aid made a significant difference in him being able to hear. He uses the behind the ear style which was the one that Miracle-Ear recommended. He wanted the top of the line when he got them and it wasn’t cheap. It doesn't completely make him able to hear and there are certain sounds he still doesn't pick up but that's because his loss is much more severe. He picks up certain sounds differently. If you are looking away from him, he doesn't pick up the sounds as well as if you're looking at him. There are times I wish he had the other kind because when he puts on these masks, it gets pulled off all the time. It also keeps getting knocked off when he tries to take it off or put it on.

    I loved my Miracle-Ear. I no longer have it. I wanted to see if I could get another one. One was stolen on a cruise ship. Then I had to replace one. When I replaced it, I got it for like half off. COVID hit and I didn’t do it properly. I wasn’t leaving the house. I wasn't putting on makeup. So, I wasn't putting it in all the time. Then, they started bringing us back into work, so I started wearing it. My brain is getting used to it all over again.

    Then my husband was watching a movie. It was so loud. So, I took my hearing aid out and put it on the window sill. After dinner, I washed my hands. My husband had scooped it up and put it in the garbage disposal. I went a few months without one not knowing what to do. I called Miracle-Ear again, and there was not another offer once you lose the second one even though the first was not my fault. I went back and forth. Then I knew somebody who had a better deal at another place. I ended up getting a different device that’s inside the ear, and I can't stand it. It's a Starkey. I loved my little in-ear Miracle-Ear one. It fits better. It gets more weighted properly in my ear. The Starkey's weight seems to be on the bottom and the way the door opens is not convenient. With Miracle-Ear's door, your finger would hit the top and the door would come down. That’s easier when it’s in your ear to reset your battery.

    Starkey is at the bottom. So, you need to poke your finger in the bottom of your ear and try to flip it from the bottom up, which is very difficult. It's not really functional. So I learned a lot by going from one to another. I know which one I prefer and it's not the one I currently have. I'm sad I don't have Miracle-Ear anymore. The product itself was great. I really liked the way it worked with my phone. I like the way that it was light. The fit was better. Marissa, the lady who set it one time, was perfect. The staff at the office there in Henderson is incredible. I love the girl at the front desk. I love her helper. I love the main girl running it.

    My Miracle-Ear hearing aids are of outstanding quality and they are very cost-effective. Their technicians are great and their exam was very thorough and supported by my insurance. I liked that they provide free batteries when many of the other companies want to charge me for those. But two years ago, I was sent a notification that if I went and got my hearing checked, I would be given a $25 gift certificate. I went to the place in Memorial Road to get my hearing checked and the technician there did a great job. He also informed me that I had extra wax in my left ear that had to be evaluated and I got that treated. They never gave the gift certificate to me this day. The Miracle-Ear people where I went to said that they would tell the company to send the gift certificate but that didn't happen. It was false advertising.

    I was riverboat captain and the Coast Guard said my hearing did not make Coast Guard standards. So I spent $6,000 and bought these little bitty hearing aids and everything else. They work fine but my biggest problem with the device and everything else is the astronomical cost. If mine quits working, I will not replace it on account of the cost. Then I come to find out the Coast Guard didn't have any standards, and I didn't really need the hearing aids. So, I've wasted $6,000. They're sitting in the drawer.     A good friend got a Miracle-Ear hearing aid and she was extremely satisfied. I liked the fact that with Miracle Ear, I didn't have to worry about anything for quite some time. I was also very impressed with the sale and the person representing them. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He gave me several options if I didn't want to go with the one I bought.     Miracle-Ear was the only reputable source to go to. I have tried other kinds of hearing assistance and they are not reliable or comfortable at all. Every time I have a problem, Miracle-Ear's customer service team is willing to look into it and deal with it. They find out the source of how to solve the difficulties. They were a little high in cost but I can understand as I was a special case and they specially designed a hearing aid just for me. I got really professional service.

    At first, I had an over-the-ear hearing aid but because of advanced neuropathy, I couldn't get it on. So, they went to a type of fitting that would fit inside my ear by using an adaption by bulletin board thumbtacks. They had those embedded into the hearing aid so I could hold on to them while I inserted it in my ear. The hearing aid is beneficial and it works. I can hear a lot better than I used to. I can tell the real advance in hearing capabilities that I've gained every night when I turn my hearing aids off and store them for the evening.
