    I have been a Miracle Client since 2018. I go to the Middletown RI store and have enjoyed good service from all of the staff. My recent visit today 8/15/25 was remarkable. I have not been able to hear for the past couple of weeks. My hearing aids didn't seem to be holding a charge. I saw Joseph ** today. He was absolutely wonderful. He spent a lot of time with me cleaning and teaching me how to clean them properly, as well as the chargers. Because of his knowledge, kindness and respect for me I walked out with my hearing restored. Most company representatives would have just tried to sell me new hearing aids. Great job Joe.     I had a visit recently at the local office in Nashua, NH. I was not told that this was going to be a sales pitch to try and get me to buy a new set of hearing aids. I currently have a pair that I purchased about 3.5 years ago that are working fine and were very expensive. Although I did not know at the time, apparently one of the people running the visit was Christy (not sure of the spelling) one of the Franchise Owners at this location. Her demeanor throughout this visit was terrible! She lied to me about the extended warranty that I had purchased back in November saying it did not cover all the parts of the hearing aid. She then tried to rig a test to show that the hearing aid that I had purchased from her location for over $6 was basically worthless.

    Additionally during the visit she threw one of her former employees under the bus. I would not buy a shoe string from this person. I can't remember a time when I was treated so badly, especially at a facility where I had spent so much money. First and foremost, she needs to call me and apologize and explain why she treated me and my wife so badly. When I called the support line, in so many words, the person said that they had received other complaints about this person. Miracle Ear has a big problem at this facility. You can choose to ignore it if you want, but word of mouth is a powerful tool.

    My last set of hearing aids from Miracle Ear, now located on Copperfield Dr, Montgomery AL, was purchased 3 years ago. The cost exceeded $6,000. Within months of the purchase, problems began to occur. The problems consisted of defective product and one hearing aid drained its batteries faster than the other. The same problems continue to exist. I can not count the numerous times I've been inconvenienced and frustrated by having been told the faulty one has been either fixed or replaced with a new one--BLAH$$$...

    For the price paid, I should not have had to be more frustrated than satisfied WHEN I HAD BEEN TOLD I WAS BUYING JUST BELOW THE TOP MARKET LEVEL$$$$ A 3-year warranty, which has covered costs of fixtures expires in 2026. AT THAT TIME, I'D HAVE TO EITHER BUY A NEW SET, OR INCUR OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS OF NUMEROUS REPAIRS$$$$...no way under the sun🙃⤵️📉... The office staff that I have dealt with have been ABSOLUTELY KIND, PROFESSIONAL, and DILIGENT. I Salute Steve, Ms **, and David to the highest. I thank each of them for the service that each of them has provided to me.

    Office lady is rude! Business knew my husband had primary and secondary insurance and indicated they would submit all paperwork for reimbursement. Now office lady is claiming it's not her job and we need to figure it out. Called our insurance who claims it is her job. Still waiting for her to send us the correct paperwork so we can try to submit it ourselves. She is now not responding to emails or phone calls. Terrible horrible service at this location.

    My initial appointment with Miracle Ear was 3/31/25 in their Ponte Vedra Beach, FL location. I was tested and hearing aid pricing was discussed by their agent. Total price was $10,269.95 but a special was still in effect for a couple of days at $6,519.95 and that is what I was to pay that day. A loaner pair was fitted while they ordered the color I wanted. I realized then that the higher pricing was just a sales tactic to make a sale. I presented my credit card for payment and my card was charged before I received the slip to sign. I noticed that my credit card was charged $65,199.50. I told the front desk lady that she made an error and her initial comment was “well American Express accepted it”. She then ran a credit though and corrected the mistake.

    Also, I did not notice until much later that the manufacturer’s warranty states the warranty ends 11/29/2002 which was 23 years ago (I did finally receive a correct statement with the correct warranty date). I realize people do make mistakes but little did I know this was just the beginning of my problems with Miracle Ear. After numerous trips back for adjustments over a period of time, the hearing aids were never adjusted to a comfortable level. When one adjustment would be made, it made something else worse. I was told it just took time and I needed to be patient.

    In the meantime, the 30 days return period ended with ongoing trips back to the store and adjustments continuing to be made trying to find the “sweet spot”. After all the adjustments made over time with no success, I told the representative that I was going to make an appointment with another provider. I did this, and on 6/24/25 I was tested. The audiological evaluation for both tests were very comparable, so that ruled out any possible issue there. I was fitted with Resound hearing aids (for less money) and to this day have not had any of the constant issues I had with Miracle Ear’s product.

    After the immediate success with the Resound hearing aids, I now know that the Miracle Ear representative’s line about time was not true for me. I was told Miracle Ear will not consider a refund at any dollar amount. I wonder now if Miracle Ear has a tactic to keep stringing along customers beyond the 30-day warranty period so they would not be responsible for any refunds. I am very disappointed in Miracle Ear. I placed a lot of trust in what they kept telling me over and over and I believed in what they were telling me. Now I am stuck with their product which is useless for me. I cannot recommend Miracle Ear to anyone, so buyer beware.

    On my second Miracle Ear set, First one were problematic, told sorry the second pair will meet your needs, so I bought, failed within the first 60 days, sent in for defective. Long story short - been repaired 9 times in 3 years, sent in for new pair before warranty ended! Lasted 67 days. Now fighting for a 90 day warranty on last fix, been repaired 3 times in 45 days.     IF product is so great, WHY use questionable marketing? — Uses OLD mailing lists: — have gotten mailing from this company & others, to residents who had not lived here for over 11 years!! It COSTS the company, & the planet. POOR ETHICS: — I notified company to CEASE & DESIST mailings to dead resident, a year ago, yet they persist. — No return name or address on mailing (dishonest-hides who the sender is, & it has the look of a bill); — LONG Before that, we asked them multiple times to remove named resident from their mail lists, because that one got them from VA. SERIOUSLY?! WHERE do they get their mailing lists!? WHY HARASS FAMILIES OF DEAD PERSONS, OR LONG-GONE RESIDENTS?!?

    —> By doing this kind of marketing, I wonder how else might the company be scamming? It does not help consumers trust any company that does these thing.—> It is using massive amounts of resources—paper, tonnages of mail thru the USPS, my trash bills, etc. That’s a VERY UGLY look for ANY company! If any other “no return address or sender name on envelope”, I will start arbitrarily assuming it’s Miracle Ear, & print that on envelop, + “return to sender”; — I don’t care if it’s someone else’s scam ads — & the company will have to pay return postage!! Or, will collect them awhile, then take to post office to report scam ads to the USPS. That will add-up.

    SUGGESTIONS: —Weekly multi-ad mailbox-stuffers: Those include grocery, bathroom remodels, etc. ads on cheap newsprint paper—save your company the costs of covert scammy letter-ads to dead people AND save a lot of resources! —Search engine ads: Those come up if searchers seek hearing aids online. —If you insist on letter ads, at least put your company NAME on envelope! You are responsible for the bad karma from overuse of resources, & the growing pollution & decimation of planet from it! But PLEASE STOP wasting piles of resources, harassing people who don’t want/need hearing aides. I strongly disagree with the company’s marketing ploys, and the check box saying this authorizes them to send more marketing & contact me. Cease & desist!

    Redlands, CA and your main office will not take complaints! Ne Share or mecher, goes by Cher, would not let me file a complaint and hung up on me! Considering the outrageous prices Miracle-Ear charges and bills continuously your insurance for any and everything they can-mind you they are not even medically certified or any kind of hearing specialists. Only sales people in those offices, They should be providing some customer service!

    Stephanie, Redlands office, continually lies to us and won’t listen when she is told this model does not work! The thing takes new batteries every 2 days, it won’t do Bluetooth like they claim, it continually falls off the ear, she said there is no volume control on these hearing aids, sends it back to New York to be replaced when it was made in Minneapolis, MN, one lie after the next! On and on.. Nothing is working but yet she is still billing away! Trying to sell off their warehouse full of crappy hearing aids and suck our insurance companies dry. My advice to you is STAY AWAY from Miracle Ear and if it is too late, NEVER BUY ONE Through their thieving finance bank! Just steer clear of Miracle Ear!

    I got my hearing aids approx. 8 months ago. Went back on almost a weekly basis with nothing ever being positive. I have worn hearing aids for 10+ years. I did the payment plan and paid them off in 6 months. Was told today that there is no refund because it was past 60 days. It doesn't matter that I went back on a weekly basis to try to get things changed so I could hear. Finally they would have me come back in 2-3 weeks. They never could get them to work for me. Now that the 60 days is over I can't get any money back. SUPPOSEDLY the owner of Miracle Ear is going to call me today. But I am betting I will be out over $7,000. I WOULD BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT THIS COMPANY. I won't even give them 1 star in the ratings. My email is ** if anyone wants to contact me.

    Do not buy these hearing aids! Worse customer service there is! At the local Burlington NC office. Got new hearing aids because they lost mine that was sent out for new batteries. The tag team didn't even test them to see if I could hear out of them. She didn't walk out in the hall and speak like the previous Tech had always done. And then she turned around and called me a liar about some of the things that Patty the district manager had told me. Please do not use Miracle-Ear at all.

    The Bluetooth override my hands free Bluetooth in My car. Cannot connect to car with hearing aids in my ear and can not use speaker phone on my phone, cuts the call short and hangs up on who I am talking to and they can not call back. It goes to voicemail and I can't call out till I take hearing aids out of my ear in their case so phone Bluetooth don't pick them up. Now I have to take everything out of my car and my phone reboot my phone and then I can reinstall everything. So that bonehead thinks I am completely stupid because I know he has control of the hearing aids and I'll bet he turned the Bluetooth off to my hearing aids.

    I wasted Sixty Five Hundred Dollars on garbage. Because that is where they went when he said he is not reimburse me for my hearing aids I was stuck with them. They work good when they worked but that only lasted a day. I would not recommend these hearing aids to anyone unless you want to spend what life you have left making appointments, I give them a big thumbs down 👎👎👎👎 for price, you have to make an appointment to take care of the problem and that takes a week 👎👎 to get, they tried telling me that it was my phone or my carrier. Don't have this problem with all my other Bluetooth Devices Only Theirs. THEY ARE NOT WORTH THE MONEY YOU ARE CHARGED. But that's typical of companies and people to take advantage of the elderly and are able to get away with their SCAM.

    This is a great product when it works. My left one continually cut out, so ME sent them in for repair. Great customer service. They come back and one of them falls apart and it's stuck in my ear. I had to call a friend to have it removed. How embarrassing, especially when no one knew i wore these. Thanks Miracle Ear for outing me. I spend many, many thousands of dollars on these things and believe me miracle ear is going to get an EARFUL from me tomorrow. I would gladly throw these back in their faces. Oh and music thru these? Totally sucks. Buy Apple or Bose if you want to appreciate music not these. Now I am stuck with these and unhappy.... Think carefully.

    I got an invitation in the mail to book an appointment for a MIRACLE EAR hearing evaluation. The invitation said that after the evaluation I would receive a $50.00 debit card. After the appointment I was told there was good news and bad news! The good news is that although I had some hearing loss, it was not bad enough to need a hearing aid! The bad news was that I would not be getting the $50.00 debit card promised! The agent said that to get the promised $50.00 I had to have hearing loss! I told him that he said I had hearing loss! He said it was not bad enough for me to qualify for the promised $50.00! I complained and the regional Director called and said it was a mistake and he would have the promised $50.00 debit card sent to me. That was 2 months ago! I called again and they apologized and said it would be sent to me. Still nothing! Moral of the story; Miracle Ear is deceptive and unreliable!

    I went to local Miracle Ear. I had Audrey and front desk lady Angie. They made me feel so much better. I am 85 losing my hearing. Audrey worked with me. I can now hear TV and hear people clearly and understand better. So thankful for Granbury Miracle Ear TX.

    Purchased Miracle-Ear hearing aids [M.E.h.a.'s] Jan 3, 2023, have had continual problems. They promised service but had to drive to their office 10 miles away each time- Every few weeks/months-- But their 'fixes'/'adjustments' & a replacement never lasted. I hoped at least the replacement would last, but no. I'd given up on office visits since they were pointless, took time & trouble w/ NO lasting results. My complaints had been directly to the office-- App 20 over 2 yrs. I've been wearing only the best one for many weeks but it shuts off during the day, though I charge & clean them regularly. The h.a.'s have been a source of headaches, problems, arguments that they were supposed to solve. I can't depend on them, to the point of possible accident/injury/break-in.

    My wife will speak right behind me & I can't hear or she'll yell from the next room, I can't hear. So, if she needs help, I won’t hear her. Since PMT wasn't through M.E. but a loan co they work with, canceling isn’t easy so we continued to pay & try.. But our patience, our hope, is GONE. These h.a.'s aren't dependable. We don't want to continue paying for service & items that don't work--esp since we're retired. (This report doesn’t include all the issues we’ve had w/ the h.a.’s, nor all our disgust and frustration!) These are the most expensive h.a.’s available—but the worst at working. Very frustrating 2 yrs!

    Found them to be pushy in their sales approach. Office manager has “CDS” issues. “Clean desk syndrome.” This manager will just keep contacting you or at least try to with the smallest of issues, getting way too involved with your business. Sorry I got involved with them. Too overpriced and not really hearing better.

    Beware of unqualified personnel selling you new aids. We did not know she was only “HEARING INSTRUMENT SPECIALIST INTERN" when we purchased. We knew we had 30 days by contract to return if aids didn’t work. That’s when the paid $9190. Nightmare started. Upon our cancellation request, This person became angry, lied and threatened. We went to corporate but found this was a franchised store so had to go thru another channel.

    In the end we had eleven pages of notes, hours of phone Conversations, filed a case with WA state AG office before higher ups allowed our cancellation and return of the aids. The day of the return we were met with no greeting, anger and she would not sign anything stating we returned the aids. It still took numerous calls to get our money back. Hopefully this person goes back to selling cars!! We purchased these based on the years and name recognition of Miracle-Ear. They need a better vetting process of personnel and perhaps only use true audiologist professionals!

    I just went for an appointment. I received this deal in the mail. Get a free hearing test and get a 100.00 gift card. This is false advertising 'cause when I finished the testing he says, "You have to bring someone in plus have hearing loss before you qualify." Nowhere on paper does it say anything about this and when I called to make appointment no one said anything on qualifying for the gift card. WRONG for them to LIE.

    THIEVES, CROOKS, SCAM ARTISTS. These are just a few of the polite words I can use to describe the employees at the North Attleboro location and their extremely deceptive business practices. I should have realized the warning signs when they wouldn’t accept the hearing test that I had done at my doctor's (ENT) office but amazingly their free test matched the test I already had done. Then the sales pitches started with the “this week only specials” and the “if you buy today we can discount this amount” and how great the company is and all of the benefits of purchasing through them… like lifetime adjustments and nationwide locations for service… but once I gave them my insurance information the $10,000 price tag dropped down to only a few hundred dollars. Then came the extra’s pitch for the extended warranties at $200 a year.

    I dealt with all of this because that’s where I needed to go due to my insurance coverage. But then came the final scam… when I showed up to pick up my hearing aids I get told that I need to pay a $600 fee for follow up appointments that are not covered by my insurance and that you have to pay the fee upfront before you can get the hearing aids. When I pushed back on this fee I was again told that they just found out about it tonight and that it was not an optional coverage but a mandatory cost! When I pushed further I was told this was how they got paid because the insurance company doesn’t pay them enough and this was how they made money.

    Needless to say I walked out without my hearing aids and called my insurance company to speak with them about the deceptive practices this company is forcing on the folks that get referred there. After speaking with the insurance company I found out that this is absolutely an optional coverage program and not a mandatory purchase and this is not the first time they have heard of Miracle Ear pulling this stunt! BUYER BEWARE OF THEIR HIGH PRESSURE AND DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES

    The testing, fitting and of course, paying for Miracle-ear hearing aids went relatively smoothly. It's the follow-up and administrative parts that quickly go off the rails. In my experience, the company operates very much apart from the franchises, as in one doesn't know what the other is doing. I received an email from M-e saying it was time for a follow up appt since my purchase 3 months prior. I followed the link and made, or thought I made an appt at the Durham NC M-e office. When the promised confirmation email didn't come, I attempted to call the Durham office directly. The receptionist/administrative person was abrupt, and so interruptive, I gave up and drove to the office to make the appt in person. Same receptionist/admin person finally, with some difficulty, made an appt for me with the free-lance audiologist. She gave me an appt card.

    When I showed up for the appt, she (same person), said I was NOT on the books today. I left after strange words from her and angry ones for me. Only occurred to me after the fact that many M-e franchises do not have an audiologist on staff, rather they are roving free-lancers. This can make appts difficult. Company follow-up continues to be lacking. I genuinely feel that the back-up/follow-up/administrative part of Miracle-ear is not at all commensurate with the high costs.

    I really was kind of pushed into getting Miracle Ear hearing aids as they took over the previous business where I purchased Starkey aids, they refused to help me with my Starkey aids and I was too senile to check with another business so I bought an expensive pair (which I had to send in for repairs more than once which was covered with warranty. My warranty expired in August this year and just this week my right one won’t hold charge and of course they won’t do anything unless I buy a program for $271 a year to get them fixed! I dug out my old Starkeys, found a dealer in the area that cleaned them up and they work just fine, they are at least 10 years old!!! Don’t waste your money on Miracle Ear, they don’t even make them. They just put their name on them! Go Starkey!!!

    You would think hearing properly out of the box (like many cheaper Hearing aids companies advertise) would be easy. It's not. Maybe for a small select group it would work. My Hearing issue is more complex. Almost normal at lower frequencies, and very bad at high frequencies. I bought the higher end aids from Miracle Ear. They were able to custom adjust them to fit my needs. They have multiple Bluetooth settings for phone, tv and streaming music. The app makes it easy and allows advanced area control for volume and tinnitus control. Great aids with only 2 real issues. They need cleaning (wax) every 6-8 weeks. AND they were very expensive. If you don't have at least $4k+ to spend, I'd recommend seeing an audiologist and getting a trial before you buy. You can pay less but the cheaper ones may not work properly for you. I would be leary of the out of the box, no exam needed hearing companies unless you can return them after a trial.

    I have had Oticon, as well as Miracle-Ear. Both are OK, but Miracle Ear's philosophy that they will still take care of you once your contract runs out is more attractive. I still have tinnitus but have been living with it for years. It was never brought up by the tech who worked with me. While both Oticon and Miracle Ear hearing aids are comparable, Miracle-Ear is considerably more expensive. In addition, my left ear canal is crooked and I have difficulty getting the in-ear part inserted. None of the techs have been any help with that. I guess I would conclude by saying that Miracle-Ear hearing aids are OK, but their service is much better than the service I got from Oticon.

    First, let me start by saying life is hard enough, going deaf, just adds to it. I decided to go to Miracle-Ear because I received a discount card in the mail and my family had gotten tired of me saying huh. Of course, they did not have the advertised item, plus the "doctor" was no more than a used car salesman. I left there with a $7000.00 pair of hearing aids that are no better than a $300 pair I had bought online. The App is a joke and when I complained about it, they told me that I may need to change phone. They hurt my ears, even 3 months later. I'm not trying to get anyone to feel sorry for me or try helping me get my money back, it is too late and I know it. For you that read this, you need more than 30 days to know if hearing aids work for you. Also, sleep on it before buying them, you will thank yourself in the morning. I still say huh, but I hear all the background noise. Good Luck.

    Went to have my ears tested and Barry from Maui Office said I needed this so called fabulous hearing device. Took it home and there was an irritating background sound so took it back on my next scheduled visit. Told him I did not want it that it was uncomfortable. He insisted that I try it again with an adjustment that he would do. So took it home and there still was a background sound that I could not deal with. I called him and took it back on my next visit. He said, "Too late"...Time limit was over. I gave him $1000.00 Good Faith down payment and returned item. Now I am getting harassed with Collectors!! He did not have a front desk clerk and he comes to Maui Once a month. Last time I called his Honolulu Office they told me he was in a Foreign Country. Deal with Collectors. He has the Hearing aid and my $1,000.00.

    Worthless company! No response to my Cease-and-Desist letters via certified mail/return receipt from the local office or Corporate. Continuous harassment via Direct Mail wanting me to purchase their hearing aids. Have sent numerous emails/letters to them and their CEO. No one wants to remove me from their contact list. No one will reply to me. Filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) on 8/25/2023 against Miracle-Ear Hearing Aid Center. The BBB made two attempts to contact the business regarding my complaint. The BBB did not receive a response and the case has now been closed as an UNANSWERED complaint in their file. Businesses like this are like hemorrhoids; nothing more than a pain with no immediate relief in sight. Why one would do business with Miracle-Ear is beyond me. The BBB has informed me to contact the Oklahoma Attorney General.

    I am extremely happy with both the Miracle-Ear professional and office staff where I receive my care. My serious hearing deficit has been effectively corrected with their sophisticated, but user-friendly devices. Just as critical, however, are the competency and interpersonal skills of the audiologist; in my case, that individual is Mr. Dan **. He listens and educates, regularly re-testing and evaluating my hearing acuity to assure I'm getting maximum benefits. In my opinion, given the consistent quality and thoroughness of and access to the on-site care I've received over the years, Miracle Ear is a tremendous value.

    I was recently at my vacation home in South Carolina, when my hearing aid malfunctioned. It would not pair with the phone app or Bluetooth. I made an appointment with the Miracle Ear office in Murrells Inlet, SC. Unfortunately the audiologist there could not rectify the problem, telling me that there appeared to be a battery problem (rechargeable) with my hearing aid and that I would have to make an appointment with my home office in Middletown, NJ. On August 17th, 2023, I had the appointment and the problem with my hearing aid was corrected in no time. A new receiver wire and ear piece was installed and now it works fine. Couldn't be happier with Middletown, NJ Miracle Ear office. Thank you!

    Was told insurance would cover, they didn’t. Miracle Ear app did not work. The customer support was terrible. Lost one hearing aid (easy to do) in first 6 months. Warranty covers replacement under warranty at an additional cost. Then lost another one a few months later. Would cover at another additional cost. If lost another, would cost $2500 each for replacements. Cut my $5000 loss before paying any more. Went to another hearing center that my insurance recommended. They turned me on to a Lost my Hearing Aid app. Recommended hearing aids I can use with wind block so I can use them even in my motorcycle. Totally different experience. Stay away from Miracle Ear. Check with your insurance first. Do lots of research before investing.

    One of my aids just plain quits every now and then. I put in a new battery, and reset the program, but to no avail. Dorothy tries to adjust settings, but if they are dead, what's the use? My 30 day return policy had just expired, and I was refused a refund. ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR $$$, YOU'LL NEVER SEE IT AGAIN!! The agent knew the state's consumer rights, so this isn't new.

    I went to a specialist to start. I was convinced I needed hearing aids, which I did. After getting the hearing aids, they were not interested in following up or adjusting them. Not happy. I then ordered Bose hearing aids…they were better, but not good. I went to Miracle Ear because that is where my Mom had gotten hers. Hands down, best decision ever made!     I came into Miracle-Ear store thinking this is the best place to purchase hearing aids, the person doing the hearing aid test was ok and once I got them, I was so surprised to be able to hear everything again. But as time went on, their customer service was great, she gave me her cell # and said call anytime if you have problems, of I said this is great. Well I had problems, thinking these 7,000 $ hearing aids should not be giving me problems, it was not long before one just shut down.

    I took it in and she said I will send it back to get it replaced. I am thinking, I do not like this and contemplated on getting a refund as I am not used to have something so expensive break down right away. I told her I want my money back and well persuaded me to not do that and give them a chance so I did. But it's been a year and I have had so many problems, and their customer service is not so great anymore, each time I have to come in to get them to work again, you can see the disgust on her face. Please try other hearing aids before settling for these.

    My audiologist Jacqueline ** was wonderful! I had an appt. later in the day so I'm sure she had many customers before me, yet her greeting and attitude was still so bright and welcoming. But most importantly, I got such a detailed breakdown of the diagnosis after testing that I could completely understand, and which I was not aware of before I walked into Miracle Ear. I was completely stunned by what I didn't know about hearing loss. And I never for one minute felt like she was trying to sell me on something. Everything she informed me about was not about trying to sell a product but about what my choices were in terms of what products are actually available to me for the type of hearing loss I was experiencing.

    I had no idea that hearing loss could be about the reception of an actual word. That I was hearing the word "tune" when she was saying the word "tube." And then a light went on in my brain. I realized why I was making mistakes at work, or why I had to always have subtitles displayed when listening to the TV! Because I was mistakenly hearing another word instead of the actual spoken word. Like I was hearing "Get my hit," when my friend was saying "get my hat!" Because I was only picking up some of the frequencies and not hearing other frequencies. I used to think that hearing loss only had to do with the volume of sound being turned down, not the loss of certain frequencies. I used to think the person speaking to me wasn't enunciating his or her words, and I would get frustrated with them! But it was me. I had lost the ability to hear certain frequencies.

    I didn't need amplification, I needed to be able to fine tune the channel of the radio station. I had lost access to certain frequencies, like losing access to a radio channel or not being able to receive certain channels that I was able to tune into before. So my ears had lost certain channels and if those frequencies were present in a word, I was not hearing "all" of the word, and my brain just thought, 'Ok that sounds like "tune" because the frequency for the "b" sound was gone. So if someone asked me "Can you tell me what's inside that test tube?" I heard "Can you tell me what's inside that test tune?" Which didn't make sense to me. So I was always saying, "What did you say?" And they would say it again and still I didn't understand. So I'd just give up, and let it pass.

    When Jaqueline put a pair of hearing aids in my ear that she had fine tuned according to my hearing loss which she was quickly able to diagnose through testing, I couldn't believe that I had heard so many words incorrectly. The whole experience was so enlightening and the actual hearing test is absolutely free. You better believe I walked out of the Miracle Ear office with hearing aids in my ears. And that very night I watched a movie without having to read the subtitles! Plus, with the bluetooth capabilities of the hearing aids, the sound came right through my hearing aids!

    I had tried two other hearing appliances prior to going to Miracle-Ear. On my first visit, the audiologist tested my hearing and asked relevant questions. After reviewing the results, he discussed with me what the tests showed. He asked me what I thought my deficiency was with regards to my hearing and I indicated the center range on the test results which shows more than average hearing loss. He said he was pleased that I was being realistic and would be happy to fit me with hearing aids on a two week trial. I was more that excited, and felt as if I was going to be helped and my needs would be viewed individually.. so I would get aids that were specific to my needs. I went back after the two week trial, and there was no hesitation, these hearing aids are the ones for me. Thank you Larry, you were so kind and helpful!!

    I go to the Miracle Ear in Cherry Hill NJ and my audiologist is Antoinette, she is absolutely great! She explained everything in language you can easily understand and makes all the adjustments you need as many times as you may need and this is always done with a smile on her face. I never feel as though I am being rushed along. This is my second pair of hearing aids and they are so comfortable that sometimes I actually forget to take them out at night and wake up in the middle of the night and realize I still have them in.

    I recently purchased my first set of hearing aids from Miracle-Ear in Redondo Beach. I could not be happier with the whole experience. Tracy, the audiologist, conducted the very thorough hearing tests and helped me pick out the perfect hearing aids for my specific hearing deficiencies. Going in I was convinced that my Medicare supplemental plan did not cover hearing aids, however, Tracy went out of her way to call my insurance company and indeed my policy included a hearing aid allowance. Thanks to her extra effort, my out-of-pocket cost ended up being half of what I expected. I highly recommend Miracle-Ear, Redondo Beach.

    I first went to a ear, nose, and throat doctor who specializes in hearing. Paid him 150.00 for a office visit. He did an initial Assessment and then tried to sell me a pair of hearings aids for 11,000. I was very uncomfortable with the whole thing. So I made an appointment with Miracle Ear. They did an Assessment for free. Incidentally, the results were almost identical to those of the medical doctor. They briefed me on my options and worked with my Insurance company to get me the best deal. I ended up going with the Meenergy RIC R AX. I have been very pleased with the hearing aid overall. I have now been wearing them for about 3 months. For their intended purpose of helping you hear better, they are fantastic and I couldn’t be happier although they have taken some getting used to.

    Now for the high tech features (fun stuff) review. I love how they connect with my iPhone and allow me to take telephone calls, listen to music, and hear mapping instructions from my iPhone thru the hearing aids without having to disturb people around me. I have truly enjoyed the overall experience with Miracle Ear fitting them to me. They had me in several times they readjusted them at the beginning of the process to get everything right. They truly do make a huge effort to help you get through the initial getting used to process of having the hearing aids and make sure everything works out well.

    One complaint that I have is the Bluetooth drops out from time to time on my hearing aids when I’m talking on the phone. If you walk away from your phone and then come back later, many times one of the hearing aids won’t connect. At that point I have to turn my phone off or turn the hearing aids off, or both, to get everything to reconnect properly so that I have sound in both ears. This only happens when I’m trying to use Bluetooth.

    Also I purchased the TV connector that goes along with the hearing aids. My wife truly enjoys that as I can listen to the TV with either the volume up so that everyone can hear it or with the volume of the TV completely turned off and only I can hear it. However, the Bluetooth connection between the TV controller and the hearing aids drops out from time to time. It’s a minor annoyance although it needs to be addressed. Another issue is the Miracle Ear app for iPhones. It doesn’t work very well and my technician told me to take it completely off my phone until Miracle Ear gets it fixed. This is sad as the app is useful when it works, but is too buggy.

    The only other thing that I have noticed that I don’t like is that the charger has two green LED lights that are extremely bright. I keep the charger for my hearing aids next to my bed. They are so bright, that they light up half of the room at night such that it keeps us awake. I have to cover the charger with a sock or some type of cloth so that it isn’t so bright. It would be nice if they would incorporate a feature that would allow you to turn the brightness down on the charger LEDs. However other than these minor issues my experience with Miracle Ear and with the new hearing aids has been tremendous. And I highly recommend them and the staff at Miracle Ear.

    I thought the hearing test I received was extremely thorough. The word recognition test was extremely revealing as to how poor my hearing is. After fitting me with the hearing aid that they felt was best for me the word recognition test improved by 90%.     Doug ** is our local Miracle Ear hearing specialist. He is an outstanding representative for the brand. I went with my husband five years ago for his first visit here in Maryland. We had recently relocated here. He has worn hearing aids for many years, just never Miracle Ear. He decided to give them a try as my mom had a great experience with hers. Doug asked if I would like my hearing tested. I agreed and he found the hearing loss in my left ear was significant. He suggested I get a hearing aid to slow the loss of hearing in that ear. I did, and what an amazing result. Until the hearing aid improved my hearing in that ear I had not realized the hearing loss.

    What most people do not realize is that when you buy a hearing aid from Miracle Ear they service it for free for the life of the device. That aid is five years old and it stopped working last week. They got me in quickly and Doug tested four different parts and the last one was it. Once he replaced that part it was good as new. About a year ago my hearing in my right ear was starting to decline and rather than buy a new one I decided to get a refurbished one. It works great and I receive the same service for it as the one I bought new.

    If you have hearing loss and are hesitant about wearing hearing aids consider this. Doug explained that when our hearing deteriorates we lose the ability to understand consonants. They represent 21 of the 26 letters. And while hearing aids can’t restore hearing loss they can slow the decline. Also, for ladies who worry about how ugly they are, I have very short hair cut over my ears and it literally disappears behind my ear. Anytime I have mentioned my hearing aids the reply is I never knew you had them. Miracle ear is a wonderful bargain!

    I got my MIRACLE EAR HEARING AIDS about five years ago. I saw an ad and went with it. It seemed TOO GOOD to be true. They let me try it for one month and it seemed ok. They put me on a payment plan since they were too expensive at the time and I felt I was overdue, DON'T REMEMBER EXACTLY like 1300 for two a coupon. Right from the get go I had trouble but they were helpful at time I believe I had them for a few years until I upgraded. That's where they really got me but again I needed them. The second pair was 4900.00. Trouble all began. Anyway they gave me the royal shaft.

    After 5 years they finally didn't want to fix it anymore and told me I needed new one a for more Money. Just want you to be tough than me, I tried everything for them to give me some credit toward new ones. You can get a decent pair for under 1300,00 And I do not mean Costco. Maybe if I did more research or had a letter like this one I would have been better off. Beware.

    My first pair died after 6 months. I had to go 2 weeks without any hearing aids until a working pair was returned. The bluetooth frequently dies and you have to go back and shut the hearing aid off and then repair. Miracle-Ear's technicians vary in their knowledge and the person I am now dealing with knows little or nothing. I would not recommend Miracle-Ear to anyone. If I could get my money back I would buy some other provider's hearing aid.

    I’ve used Miracle-Ear Hearing Aids for over 4 years and upgraded recently to take advantage of Bluetooth with my iPhone. Unfortunately, the connection distance is just 2 or 3 feet when streaming music or podcasts. Since the hearing aids are premium priced (at least double other brands) I expected them to work. The audiologist tried several times to help and even sent them in for exchange, but nothing worked - the sound is choppy. Store staff is great and always professional. I’d give them 4 stars if the Bluetooth worked better. Can’t go 5 stars with their pricing. Too expensive compared to same products on the market.

    Went to Miracle-Ear couple of months back to be tested after retiring in New Mexico. My hearing loss is significant, so… always count on them being the most expensive. I have had a couple of sets of Resound because of the tinnitus. The Miracle-Ear hearing aids are by far the best performing set I have ever had. When the right side of my last Resound set failed last week, the local Miracle-Ear facility was able to have me back in a few days, and gave me a set of loaners in the meantime.     I have a superb Miracle-Ear audiologist … Testing facilities are adequate, but not any better than competitors. I would be too embarrassed to recommend to a family member due to atrocious pricing 2-3 times the competitive market for comparable hearing evaluation and recommended products. Like many on a fixed income, I am very embarrassed to admit that I paid well over double very comparable product costs, and ALL of their accessories are quadruple what an affordable cost should be!     Very disappointed at my last hearing check to find out that the software that programs my hearing aids each year for the best hearing experience is becoming obsolete. When I purchased my hearing aids I upgraded to an aid that had lots of "room to grow", meaning, they could be adjusted to be quite a lot louder as time passed. Hearing aids cost several thousand dollars, so my attitude was that buying a better aid was an investment. I've had them for 8 years, never had a problem, in fact, they work beautifully, and yet the tech told me that this would probably be the last time they could be adjusted because they would not be able to support the technology in the next year.

    When I purchased I had other, cheaper options, but again, I viewed my Miracle Ear hearing aids as an investment, so I wanted the best. Had I known then what I know now I would have purchased a less expensive brand. As I approach retirement I'm watching my money much closer and I have never been someone who gets rid of something that works perfectly fine, so finding out my hearing aids will become obsolete is very disappointing.

    My mother start going to Miracle Ear location on 427 Main St, Hellertown PA 18055, she was sold a hearing aid about one year ago and start going in for it to be cleaned, periodically. She went in a few months ago and came back w/ a new hearing aid and a new loan, I asked where her old hearing aid was, (in which nothing was wrong and did not need to be replace). She stated the manager asked her to give it back to him. My mother has the original bill and the new bill. Per the supervisor or what? He told my sister he gave my mom some type of discount, I do not see it and her bill is larger. (My mom is in the early-stage dementia). This is not ethical, selling produce not needed and taking her first hearing aid back and she has both loans to pay still. She is on a fix income... Either the first hearing aid should be issued back, or the first loan adjusted down by that location.

    I have partial loss of hearing. Sometimes, I would think people are mumbling when they are actually just talking softly. I used to be able to hear that. Now, I couldn't make out anything they were saying. My Miracle-Ear hearing aid corrected that quite a bit. My hearing aids have the charger and it's the one that goes over the ear with the little wire that has the actual earpiece. I had to get those because of my work. I’m a medical assistant. If I had gotten the regular hearing aids where the full thing goes into the ear, I would never be able to work as I wouldn't be able to use my stethoscope.

    The hearing aid I had gotten were over $5,000. I was able to pay it off a lot sooner than expected because I was working full time and I'm 68 so I got the full benefits of my Social Security. I had the income coming in to add an extra payment each month. Now, I'm working part-time and I'm collecting Social Security. If I were to get new hearing aids, I would have to probably get the same style but cheaper ones if they are available. That aside, Miracle-Ear's customer service was excellent and they worked around my schedule when I had to come in every so often to be tested. They were very informative and their guy Mike was good at explaining things.

I have the ones where I have to put batteries on, and I don't like that some nights I'll have to wear them to bed so I can hear the alarm in the morning. I also don't the price.     My mother does pretty well with her Miracle-Ear hearing aids. She has a little tiny piece that goes in her ear and one that rests on top.     The customer service at Miracle-Ear was awesome when I initially called. But the guy that sent it put my prescription in backwards on my hearing aids. He's no longer with the company and it took them a while to figure out why it wasn't working. But they worked with me really hard on it. I have a right ear that closes off when I chew and Amy has tried everything in the world to get it to quit squealing. She's done an awesome job trying to get me going.     The Miracle-Ear attendant showed me the type where a section of it is behind the ear and there's a wire with a little rubber that goes into the ear. It was the top of the line at the time. She recommended that and I liked it. Miracle-Ear has been extremely responsive and prompt to any needs I've had in the couple of years that I've had these hearing aids. I feel happy to have used Miracle-Ear. It's a good company. The hearing aids are expensive though. These were $7,600.

    I'm doing pretty well with my Miracle-Ear hearing aids. It sits behind the ear and the wire and the little plastic head sit in my ear canal. It's the best I've had.     The girl who took care of me was nice. I still go to her. Very informative. Any questions, have answers for it. I go to the receptionist in Rockaway, New Jersey who takes care of me, and I had someone else when she was out or I had to go in like to have the hearing-aid looked at. They were always helpful. Got it fixed. Told me what she could do. She said, "That should solve it." Usually, it did. Once she couldn't fix it and had to send it out.

    I got the behind the ear. If I have to adjust it, it's easier to me to go to. Except for the occasional wax build up even though I clean them, which doesn't seem uncommon, I would just give Miracle-Ear a call. And normally, either that day, if not, at least the next day, I was in there getting the hearing-aids fixed. And that was the only problem. It was hard to get used to them in my ear. But as I kept wearing them, I found that I wore them more and more. Now, I can hear.

    The reps have been very good. I have the rechargeable hearing aid and it's been good. I can get the same quality service no matter where I'm at. But there are some issues that nobody can put a handle on like squeaking sounds or higher-pitch sounds. Other than that, it has BlueTooth so I have it connected with my phone and it works in my car. I try not to go without the hearing aids. I lost one and that was inconvenient. Miracle-Ear sold me a new one but I didn't like the price. It was $1,500.     I like Miracle-Ear. I’d had a set of Beltone but Beltone moved and left here. I didn’t really like the Beltone. So, I just chose Miracle-Ear. I spent over $10,000 with Miracle-Ear on two sets of hearing aids. One of them was about a month out of warranty. I called and they didn't seem like they really wanted to talk to me and told me that I'd have to send the thing in to get it repaired. I couldn't afford to do that at that time and still can’t. So, while I had them and they were working, I was real pleased with them but the last set that I had had not been used that much because most of the time, I only used them when I was going out among the crowd or I was going to church.     The hearing aids I have are the over the ear. These I bought last year uses no batteries. I have a charger I use at night which eliminates the use of batteries.     When my brother-in-law originally got the hearing aids, which was over a year ago, he had an aid for each ear. They were not helping so a few months ago, Miracle-Ear changed the model. He only is able to wear one now because of the nerve damage in the other ear. It has helped his hearing somewhat but it's never going to be good. The customer service reps tried to help us as much as we can. My brother-in-law is at the age where he's not able to even change the batteries himself and the little implement that you use to take the wax out of the hearing aid.     If your hearing starts to deteriorate, it gets worse. So, I got the hearing aids so my hearing doesn’t get worse. My hearing loss is mostly the high and low range, and I had no trouble contacting Miracle-Ear. They've always treated me very well. They showed me different styles of hearing aids but I preferred that it’s not as invasive in the ear. I have the over-the-ear type. I have very small ear canals so, I don't have a big thing stuck in my ear. They used a very small head on the hearing aids for me to hear. It's very easy to operate and it does the job. It helps if I'm in church. If I want to hear the sermon, I can hear it better. It also helps if I'm in a crowded restaurant or someplace where there's a lot of noise going on.     Women's voices were really hard for me to hear. I worked in a main control room at a prison and consonants were really bad. Someone would call and say, "Hey, can you find me G-15 key or C-50?" Every so often, I have to go back and get it tuned in and the batteries don't last very long. It lasts about three days and I got to replace them if they start going bad.     I have the in-canal hearing aid, which is molded to fit in the ear canal and it’s flesh-colored. I have an app on the phone and I can adjust the range between focusing frontwards or sideways or the whole room.     The hearing aids work fine and I like them. Every three months I go there so they can clean them and check on them. If I need to replace a disc that goes in my ear, they would replace the rubber disc. They're very nice.

    I had a couple of other people who had gone to Miracle-Ear and they were satisfied so I figured I would give them a shot. I've had them for quite a few years now. When I had problems with them, Miracle-Ear rectified them. I haven't had any problems with my hearings aids since. They're working and doing what they're supposed to do.

    I started with the hearing aids that you put the batteries into and the batteries were mailed to the house automatically. That was fine. I found it to be cumbersome sometimes to do it because it was always the thing where the batteries died when you're not near the batteries. When I went back in and they said, "We have these that you can just plug in and charge." That made it a lot easier and a lot more convenient. My mom was on Miracle-Ear too and she had the battery ones. She had to stop wearing them. With arthritis in her hands, she cannot put the batteries in and take care of them. It was very difficult for her. The problem with that was that she couldn't afford the upgrade.

    My hearing aids are very comfortable. I plug the hearing aids in at night and they recharge. I like the fact that they hook up to the phone. That works fine. I had to purchase a new battery because I needed one for at home and one for the office. They don't last all that long. You definitely need to charge them midday sometimes. I put them on at 7:00 in the morning and I don't take them out until 11:00 at night. That's normal for me. But by around 9:30, they usually shut down and I have to take the hearing ids off because the battery is drained. I bought a second charger. My thing is if the price for some of the stuff could be a little bit more affordable.

    That aside, the hearing I had before was very bad and Miracle-Ear helped immensely. The problem I had in the beginning with the old hearing aids that I had was you couldn't adjust them enough. With the new ones, it's a bit easier because there is reverberation at times. I'm able to adjust them enough so I don't have to worry about it. I got them well over maybe two years ago now.

    I started guitar lessons about five years ago. I had my hearing aids and I wasn't hearing the tones very well. My teacher would have me turn around and he would play his guitar. On my bass guitar, I would have to try to find it. I couldn’t do that. When I got the over the ear Miracle-Ear Hearing Aids, the way I was hearing was a night and day difference. Everything was right on the button. When we did a tone test again, I had it done and it was very quick. These hearing aids have been awesome. A lot of people I've talked to said that they don't know if hearing aids will help them. I say, “Try these hearing aids. I’ll show you how good Miracle-Ear is." My hearing is way worst than others. I'm pretty deaf. I've been showing Miracle-Ear off and I keep telling these people that if I can hear, they can too.

    I like the hearing aids. I didn’t realize how deaf I was until I got them and watched the TV volume almost cut in half. Also, their customer service is really good. I do construction so I'm all over and I can call their rep on my way home and fill out an appointment. Then, I would go, have the hearing aids cleaned out, and do a hearing test.

    Miracle-Ear's team has been wonderful I go every six months and have my device checked. They've done me such good service that I'm just really happy with my hearing aids. They're a little steep but for what I've got, I wouldn't go anywhere else. They're of excellent quality and Miracle-Ear treats me like family. If I have a problem, they're right there to fix it.

    Miracle-Ear gave a good deal with the hearing aids. I have the one where the control is behind the ear, and then the small wire goes into the canal. It fit right and I was hearing better with it. It was expensive, but it was worth it. I'm happy with them.

    I hear better with my hearing aids. At first, it started off itching and I had to get used to it, but it's fine. I got the ones that go behind the ear and they're good. I have nothing bad to say about them. They were expensive, but those other ones were more expensive than I could afford. The Miracle Ear reps are real nice and beautiful too. I would tell friends that they can get in touch with them at any time and how nice the personnel are, and I have recommended somebody to them.

    My hearing aids expand my hearing. They also add to my loudness. I can hear myself talk. But, the Miracle-Ear is very expensive and not everybody can afford it. So, for a very long time, I was too scared to wear it because of the fear of losing one of them.

    I love Miracle-Ear. They're amazing. The hearing aids were initially expensive but I did the payment plan and I paid them off. Since using the hearing aids, I can hear well and now, I gotta get my husband to get them because he's deaf as I am without them and he's yelling. I figured I'd have them in and they've never come out, I never lose them. They fit me perfectly and Chuck, the rep, is good at cleaning them and making sure everything's good. I go about once every three months and he tunes them up for me. It makes my life better.

    I didn't know the hearing aids could break but it literally stopped working and I was thinking how it could happen. It wasn’t the battery. Chuck said that the hearing aids sometimes wear out. Fortunately, I bought the protection plan and it's worth it. They got me a brand-new one and they work well. The protection plan is $170 a year and that includes monthly batteries, which are $10 a month. They have the new chargeable ones now but these are the ones you have to put the battery in. Anytime I ever have to have another pair, I'll always buy the protection plan because it's worth it. Miracle-Ear has a local office and the service and everything about those people are amazing. You can't say enough good about them.

    I had tried another pair that I didn't care for as much as I do with the ones I got from Miracle-Ear, which was how I ended up with them. When I was there, they were very efficient and helpful, and that always helps when you don't know what you're doing. When I'm out in the wind, the hearing aids catch a lot of wind but I was informed that they would. Miracle-Ear had a more expensive pair that had a filter or something that would not let the wind, but I didn't want to pay the additional and the ones I've got is functional. They advertise these hearing aids on the TV all the time for 2,099 and I've paid 6,000 for mine. But I'm figuring there’s surely got to be a difference other than just the price. I was well-pleased with the service. In fact, I'm due to go back again for an annual checkup but it snowed. So, I had to reschedule my appointment.
