When I decided I needed to be checked out I went to Miracle-Ear and I've been happy ever since. At the time someone recommended the behind-the-ear style to me. I tried them on and it fit. Plus it's hidden and I don't see them. They've got great people. I've gone through a couple of ear doctors and they've all been good. Even the lady that's on the desk does a fantastic job. I've had three pairs so far. The first pair lasted a couple of years. The second pair went for three years. Then two years ago I got my newest ones. They just upgraded. They gave me a good price to trade the old ones in and I went along with it.

I saw the ads for Miracle-Ear and I decided to try them out. The rep pointed out the different benefits of each hearing aid model. She's very professional, patient and knowledgeable. I like her a lot. I went with the top of the line model and they have improved my hearing. However, I still have trouble and have to go back for adjustments. The sound is different in one room than another, like when I’m in one with a high ceiling from when I’m in the bedroom.
Also, I just came from playing mahjong, so there were 15 women there and loud. I try to adjust it. Depending on how I'm sitting, it locks out some of the noise. And the rep does her best to adjust them the way I want it. She’s a very caring person and she doesn't make me feel like I’m a bother. I'm welcome to go back there anytime and she's always available, during working hours, of course. I'm happy with the service. They're a little expensive though but I'm not dissatisfied and I would recommend them.

Anybody that doesn’t have Miracle-Ear is stupid and ignorant. Not only will they get the best treatment, but because of them, I can hear. Before them, I went over with somebody else and I had problems with them. I had another type of hearing aid, paid for it, and it didn’t do any good. I tried Miracle Ear and really liked them. I have the one that goes behind your ear. In addition, their customer service team is fantastic. I even became friends with their receptionist. If anybody is needing a hearing aid, they better go with Miracle Ear.

I had my ears tested at my medical facility and wanted a second opinion and a second price quote and went with Miracle-Ear. I got the piece that goes behind my ear upon a recommendation from the gentleman showing me the different types. At that point, he thought this was good for me and I didn’t want the bigger ones that made my ears feel like they were plugged all the time, so this has a really tiny earpiece. My ear holes are small, so this worked perfectly. Miracle-Ear's customer service has been fantastic. The rep is really knowledgeable and I very much approve his knowledge of what he does. He explains the test we have every once a year.
At six months, we have visits to recheck things and if I ever have trouble with something, the rep cleans the piece quickly, looks them over and makes sure they're in good condition. I readily recommend Miracle-Ear to someone who is looking to get hearing aids and I'd highly recommend the person I worked with there in a heartbeat. One of my co-workers' husband was losing his hearing too because he works on loud equipment. I recommended him to check on that and he got his piece at Miracle-Ear.

I received Miracle-Ear's card that asked to have my ears checked. Although I had some hearing aids, I was having a little trouble with them. My daughter suggested I go check it out. Having Miracle-Ear made a great deal of difference in my life. They’re smaller and much more convenient and I’m able to hear much better. I have the one that goes behind the ear with the little speaker inside the ear. When I tried it, it worked so well that I just wanted it. I also purchased the recharger where you put them in overnight.
Their team was really wonderful and helpful. The lady that started us out was there for just two weeks. Then we had a young man down here to California from Washington. He’s new at it, but he’s doing an excellent job. He’s very capable and willing to check things out. He taught me a great deal about the internet which they use as an instrument and I can program the Miracle-Ear so that they can serve me better. They’re very concerned about how well I'm doing. They don't want me to sit and figure it all out by myself. Moreover, the receptionist calls all the time to remind me of my appointments. I'm very happy with Miracle-Ear.

I've been going to Miracle-Ear for quite a while now. They have their office in Chandler and I go there every six months. I definitely hear better with their hearing aid. It goes behind my ear and the other part that makes me hear pushes into my ear with a little curve on it so it will stay inside. Also their people are really nice and they do everything they can. Every time I go for a checkup if I have a question about anything they can answer. I've always had very nice meetings with them. I'd recommend them.

In my left ear, I've had very severe loss of hearing low and high tones. I went to a complete audiology screening and Miracle-Ear was very professional. They put me through all the tests possible to determine what they had in stock to offer to me. And after going through all of that, they sat and explained everything to me and showed me the types of hearing aids that they had available. And upon doing so, they crafted a plan for me and I've been happily going ever since.
Their customer service team has been friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. And going to them is like meeting an old friend of mine. From the office staff to the audiologist who is taking care of me in the back, it has been a wonderful atmosphere. I like the hearing aid model I chose because it's all inclusive and it does what I need it to do. I can go in any environment, and I can hear which is something I couldn't do before. So, I'm very happy. I would recommend that my friends go to Miracle-Ear and I would send them to the same service provider that I went to. I'd tell them that they would be in good hands and will be well taken care of.

I love Miracle-Ear's service and the facility that I attend. My friend went there and so I went there, too. I had the test for my hearing then I went back for an appointment to have the analysis explained to me. At that appointment time, I decided to go ahead and purchase the devices. I was recommended the one behind the ear with the little cord that goes down into my ear and I'm very happy with it.

I had a good meeting with the people at Miracle-Ear at first and I was pleased with what they suggested. My life is a bit better with my Miracle-Ear hearing aid and I can hear pretty well. I was especially pleased with the gal that worked with me. She was great and I enjoy meeting her. I got the Behind-the-Ear with a speaker inside on a little wire. It works well. The earbuds don't fit as tightly as they would but it's adequate. I would suggest others to give Miracle-Ear a try.

Miracle-Ear was the only hearing aid provider located in my city. Their customer service team has been great. I had my hearing test and they answered any questions I had. I go see them once every three or four months and their rep cleans the hearing aid for me. They have been very pleasant to work with. I got their behind the ear hearing aid and it is four years old now. My experience with it has been trouble-free, so far. It made me hear better but if I'm in a crowd, I still have a problem. Otherwise, if I am in a small group or one-on-one, it works great. Before this one, I had the in the ear model but it wore out so I got a new one.

I can now hear a little bit better but it's still not as good as I want. Yet my experience has been good and I would send friends over to Miracle-Ear.

I needed hearing aids for a long time and I finally decided we better do this. I called and made an appointment with Miracle-Ear and my husband and I got one at the same time. We live in Barkhamsted, which is in Torrington and the Miracle-Ear store is in Torrington. Tammy, their rep, was wonderful. Every time we go to their store, she cleans the hearing aids, puts in new batteries, and talks to us. She asks if we have any questions and if we want any adjustments made on our hearing aids. She's very thoughtful and very good. My husband had some problems in the beginning with his hearing aid and Tammy took the time to fit it right. She went and fixed it for him four times till he was satisfied. With the Miracle-Ear hearing aid, I can hear much better. I'm very satisfied with Miracle-Ear.

30 years ago, I got some hearing aids while I was still working, but I was not happy with any of them. And a year ago, in October, I saw an ad in the paper and I knew that Miracle-Ear is a reputable company. I went for the cheapest thing I could buy the first time, however, this time, I bought the most expensive. And the technician told me that I got the crème de la crème. They were normally $8,500 for two, but I got it for $6,600 as they were running a special. I got the ones where the biggest part sits behind the ear and a small plastic tube goes into the ear canal.
I was getting so bad that I couldn’t hear anything, however, with my Miracle-Ear hearing aids, phone calls are now perfectly clear. There's neither feedback nor static. I can also hear the television and my wife. And I can hear people speak to me without having to continually say, “I’m sorry, I didn’t hear you.” Miracle-Ear's team was excellent and very professional. I’ve been dealing with Francesca and she’s been absolutely wonderful. I make an appointment with her every two months. However, if I need to go in, then I just go in and tell her that something isn’t working right. There hasn't been anything mechanically wrong, but I haven’t cleaned the wax off the inner part that goes in the ear. I used a toothbrush and she showed me how to do it. I love my hearing aids and my experience has been marvelous.

I liked the advertising of Miracle-Ear 10 years ago. At that time, it didn’t seem like there were a lot of options, other than a little mom and pop type of store that had them and was little businesses that had hearing aids available. And Miracle-Ear seemed like it was a larger company to me that might be a better move. Their customer service reps were fine and wonderful, and they still are. The gal that I would go to every now and then for a checkup to look at them was great and very helpful. This is my second set. The first set went five years so it was seven or eight years ago that I got them. Their hearing aids are good and I haven’t had any problem with them. I upgraded to a newer technology when I changed them and I probably still would have had the first set. My relatives had them and they did well with them, and we were able to go different places and get them checked at any town they're in. I even had them looked up going into it.
There are issues with them that I don’t care for as far as hearing aids go. It’s not particularly their hearing aids or my provider’s hearing aids. Ambient noise is a real issue with them. If you’re in any kind of a situation where you have a lot of background noise, then you got to start deciphering but it picks it up pretty good so it makes it a little harder to decipher. I’ve recommended them to many people and most of them tend to go to Costco because of the level of care or the hearing aids are better. Most of them have gone through more hearing aids than I have. I do recommend Miracle-Ear.

I got the hearing aid that goes over my ear from Miracle-Ear. The person that sold me the hearing aid said that is a better choice because if you have a lot of wax, it's a hindrance when you have an in-ear type of hearing aid. Dealing with Miracle-Ear’s sales and customer service teams has always been positive. The rep explains things although I'm not a hundred percent convinced that I can hear as well as I should be able to. I can hear better sometimes. Sometimes, I can't. The person that comes to evaluate each month usually turns them up louder but sometimes that doesn’t really make that much difference. I don't comprehend words sometimes or it might be my age. They tried increasing the loudness but I don't really hear what the preacher or the priest is saying most of the time in church.
And sometimes in crowds, I don't hear that well. Every time I go over to Miracle-Ear, the rep says they're clear. And so, I don't clean them that much but I try to clean them if I noticed they're causing a problem. Other than that, I don't know if that's the problem or not or just the fact that at my age, I don't comprehend words that aren't being spoken that well. They're also outrageously expensive. My salesperson suggested a second pair because it has more channels or whatever that might help my hearing better. It didn’t make that much difference. Hearing aids should be a lot less expensive. The more they improve, the more expensive they get. And most things electronically, the more they're used or sold, the less expensive they get. So, Miracle-Ear goes against what usually is true with electronics.

Miracle-Ear definitely helps. I have a high-pitch hearing loss real severe and I can hear low tone fine. I can definitely tell the difference when I’ve got them in and when I don’t or been able to hear people and all. I still have a very hard time understanding children of any kind, and that’s the biggest thing, and I have a hard time hearing TV. If it’s getting music in the background, I have trouble hearing. I have tried a couple other places and they did not help me any. There was a set to try over the weekend and I didn’t see where it did me any good and mainly because the pitch was only 8,000, and my pitch is way up over 10,000. That’s a way up loss I have. I still had hard time hearing and understanding ladies that had a high-pitched, soft voice. Miracle-Ear had hearing aids that they said could help me so I tried them and they’re the best I’ve ever tried. I got the behind-the-ear and it’s helped me be able to understand conversations a little better.
Their customer service is excellent. I go every so often and have my hearing aids checked, cleaned and adjusted and Caleb that’s in Savannah, Georgia is very good. He’s been very diligent in trying to help me and trying to get them adjusted to make it right and he’d spent hours trying do the work with it and change the tones, trying to get me the best I can get out of them. My case is quite different from a lot of the other ones. They worked on many different things. I use the GENIUSlink and it has been a big help so I’ve been able to get whack and watch most of the TV programs. There are still things I don’t understand because I can’t hear it properly but it’s a lot better so the GENIUSlink definitely had been a help. I recommend Miracle-Ear because it can help a lot better than with what my condition is.

I went to Miracle-Ear, had a hearing test and got the over-the-ear hearing aids since that was all they offered. However, I don't like it. When I put my glasses, it gets pushed off since there's nothing holding them to my ear other than my ear. I've already lost one of them as a result of that. I still owe Miracle-Ear $4000 for the original thing and they would not accept my $795 to replace the lost hearing aid. It would be great if there was some kind of replacement policy rather than the $795 since it costs a lot of money to buy hearing aids. Also, I had tinnitus and they told me that they could reprogram the hearing aid to compensate for that, but it never happened. I would not recommend Miracle-Ear to anybody who needs hearing aids.

Everything has been good with Miracle-Ear. I love the follow-up program. It wonderfully keeps going and they keep cleaning and checking your hearing aid. You go in after you initially get your hearing aids. They give you more instructions, check out to see how things are going and test your ears. It’s just fabulous and it couldn’t be better. If you buy them online or you buy them from an advertisement, there’s no follow-up. I would hate to be in that condition with all of the TLC that you get from Miracle-Ear. They're really great.
The Miracle-Ear hearing aid helps me when I go places. I don’t have to cup my ear. I don’t have to say and speak louder. It’s very helpful. The thing is behind and goes in the ear. Nobody knows that you’re wearing a hearing aid. Also, the reps were wonderful. They were very helpful. They wanted to make sure that everything is functioning well and that I’m hearing well and that the aids are working well. They’re great. In fact, the guy that was my customer care person wasn’t there when I had my appointment. So I saw somebody else and then they made my appointment with that other guy for the follow-up and when I went in for my next appointment, he told the guy that I was his customer. I really felt well taken care of.
Even the receptionist was super nice, helpful and just wonderful to talk with. She calls me to remind me if I've ever booked an appointment. It’s just a fantastic thing. Everything that they did was really outstanding and they really had it down. They knew what they’re doing and I really felt like they want me to be able to hear well. They really care about how it’s working for me and so I just love it. I couldn’t speak more highly of it. I would recommend Miracle-Ear to anybody who’s had to get a hearing aid.

My second husband, who died of cancer three years ago, had hearing aids from Miracle-Ear Hearing. We got it from the store in Jackson, Tennessee and they were helpful about the product. So, when I wanted to get this husband hearing aids, that’s where we went. After they did the testing, they said he had so much of a special type of damage that was done with loud noises, and so they got him a specific model that would be the most beneficial.
The hearing aids were wonderful. For the first time in 40 years, he could hear birds and he’d say, “What’s that noise?” It might be crickets or a particular type of bird and he’d say, “I’ve never heard that before or I don’t remember if I ever did.” There were so many things he could hear. Nobody had to holler around him, and I didn’t have to wave my hands to get his attention. They were great.
We went still to the same technician at Miracle-Ear, Richard, even if we were divorced. We could mail them his hearing aids, too. Also, if Richard was going to be around, he would bring them to the house and drop them off. We weren’t the only ones around here he did that way, too. I got a hearing device that's behind the ear and the small piece is in the ear, which seemed to be the most comfortable and practical to me. The Miracle-Ear team has been outstanding too. : Neil is extremely competent and he wants to work with you. I went to have an adjustment done and one ear, which I didn't realize was clogged. They said he didn't want to do it-- which he could have done but he said, "Until that's clear."
And I went back and got my ear cleared and he made the adjustments. I said, "It's pretty good." He says, "I can tell in your face it's not good." And he did a little more adjustment. Somebody else would have said okay but he wanted me well-satisfied. And in my numerous visits he wants me to be comfortable with these-- because it's quite an adjustment. I could remember going back to first time wearing glasses and I think the hearing aid devices are even more so. He's a nice person and I've seen him even with the other customers and there's a very comfortable feeling in the way he deals with us. It is a better hearing aid than the one I had before. I can hear my TV on eight, which I used to have to turn up to 12 so it's very different. The last time I blew one up, it was three weeks before I got my hearing aid back, so I put one of my old ones in and tried to use it as a backup. But Miracle-Ear helped me replace my new hearing aid.
The customer service team was nice, polite and gave me an idea of what was going on. They always test my hearing to make sure it didn't get worse before they give me the next hearing aid. Most recently, they didn't bother to check anything since I haven't had the hearing aid that long. I thought it was the battery so I changed it but that didn't help. I chose the model that's in the canal, but the mechanism is behind the ear for convenience, neatness and price. Their sales and customer service teams are always anxious to help and considerate. My hearing aids are behind the ear and fairly new but it must be getting to about a year now. The devices are very nice but the quality of the interactions with individuals I was dealing with was a big selling point. The people in the office that I go to are fantastic and I really like the service. They answered questions, and were very friendly and informative as well.

For an afternoon Samantha provided superb customer service as she gave both of us hearing tests, interpreted them for us, gave us homework assignments to improve our hearing, cleaned our hearing aids, and let me try out Miracle Ear Hearing Aids. She was fabulous and has continued to follow up with us, two weeks later.

I've heard of Miracle-Ear thru advertisements on TV and then I found out that it was really close to where I work so I decided to go there. The reps were wonderful, and they were flexible about getting in when I can. I'm in and out of there in 10 minutes. I have Meniere's, so there's ringing in my ear all the time. I'm able to control the volume of the voice's white noise on my phone and it helps me cope as it blocks out some of the ringings. It has also helped me hear, which is funny since I was told that hearing aids don't work for people with Meniere's.
The hearing aids go behind my ears, which is the style that they chose for me based on what I wanted it for. I told them exactly why I wanted a hearing aid and why I wanted to try it, which is to see if it would make a difference. They gave me the model that was the best one for ringing in the ears. The hearing aid can't be seen while my hair is down, but even with my hair up, people don't even notice it. Having the Miracle-Ear has been wonderful and I highly recommend them. I'm very happy with the hearing aids and with the whole company.

When I was still in West Palm Beach, I had bought hearing aids and they needed to be replaced. I knew that Miracle-Ear was in the Sears store and I went in and visited them. I had bought two different sets of hearing aids and upgraded. Then they moved out to their current location which is a bit East of the Sears store on Broward Boulevard where they’re located now. I went in there and got my updates whether it is every three months or six months. They clean and check them out to make sure everything is okay and make any adjustments that need to be done. Weirdly enough, the first time I went there, it was just a receptionist, and the person that does the actual adjustment wasn’t there. I felt like, “This is what it is? I’m going to walk in and I’m going to hand my hearing aids to somebody that will clean them then give them back to me and I’m going to walk out?”
But since then, the little lady that’s in charge of it has gone out of her way to make sure that I’m happy because she apologized to me that my second time in there she was not there for whatever reason. But I’m thoroughly happy with that location with the people there now, both the young lady who works at the front as well as the person who takes care of the actual hearing aids. I can’t hear and I’m 75 years old so it’s a problem of better adjustments and better hearing. I went from a total in-ear on my first set to when I first started over at the Broward Mall or the Plantation store and I went with one outside over the ear and they couldn’t get it to adjust any better for me. It maxed out so they gave me one step up so it was strictly a need to change. I would recommend them to a friend. What’s interesting right now is they’re coming up.
Where they’re going with hearing aids again is a better adjustment and smaller unit I’ve seen. I would tell them what I currently wear and where they’re located. I’d give them the phone number and the address. I would recommend to two or three other people that I see advertising with a little different technology and very candidly I paid a lot of money for the technology that I currently have. And depending upon who my friend is would determine the price range, determine what they want, what they need, whether they’re embarrassed to see a tube running around the outside of your ear or whether they want it completely hidden. Those are the things that need to be done but they need to research three places. Also, I would recommend Miracle-Ear as the number one place to look.

My hearing aids fit and feel good but one of my ears broke on me. Right down at the part that I plug into my ear, the wired thing pulled out. I might have pulled on the wrong wire and the shielding around the wire itself pulled out at the end of the plug. The wire is still there but the shielding pulled out, so it bubbles around. So, I went over to Miracle-Ear and they fixed it. It has got a tiny bit shorter wire on it from the earpiece to the plugin but the doctor told me that he is going to order some and that next time I’m over he'll change it and put the right size on. He's a very good ear doctor. I had a good job done and I really appreciate the time that Miracle-Ear has given me. Also, I love going and talking to the Miracle-Ear people. My sister researched and found out Miracle-Ear was the better company to go with. My brother and his wife took my father while they were living in Connecticut to a Miracle-Ear there and they purchased the hearing aid. He has a significant hearing impairment and he lives with me, so he was driving me nuts. But now he's hearing much better. He still has issues but he's definitely improved dramatically. I take him every six weeks to have the hearing aids cleaned and maintained, and everybody is always very professional, very helpful, very friendly, and courteous. They take care of every need.
However, every time I go and I take him, I get these emails or text messages about doing a survey and it's annoying because I take him every six weeks. So, it’s a little excessive. Maybe once a year or every six months is fine, but not every visit. Sometimes I have to take him in earlier because he has an issue with the hearing aid and I feel like it's annoying but I always give them high scores. Other than that, I'd definitely recommend Miracle-Ear.

They’re expensive but in the long run, I could get that on a little plan and not worry about it. But right now, Miracle-Ear has trouble with one hearing aid and they changed the part that goes into my ear and that’s not it. It’s clear when I put your hand over it. I’d go ahead and send it away. My husband had trouble hearing at his job before. He worked in the mines and he did construction so there were lots of noise and his hearing would go down. He figured that he needed something done. He initially got hearing aids from Miracle-Ear that went in his ear, but those didn't work out well at all. He liked them when they worked, but most of the time it didn't. They were in the shop more than they were in his ears. He went to those appointments twice a month, and sometimes, they would have to send the hearing aids away and it would be two weeks before we'd get them back. The closest Miracle-Ear is 20 miles away so it wasn't a quick trip to take them back. Then, he got the Miracle-Ear hearing aid that is over the ear and it's been comfortable for him.
Since he got the second pair, things have been a lot better. We just have to change the battery and he only goes in for his appointments whenever they need to be checked. Their sales and customer service teams have been great too. We haven't had any problem with the people in the office and they have been really good to us. They always make sure that we could get in there as soon as possible. Most of the time, the same day. Now my husband hears what I'm saying and I can watch TV and have it at seven or eight in volume. Before he would have it on at 26, and it was so loud that it's deafening to me.

Provider was good first yr. he started then had an intern, then wife, then daughter then someone then granddaughter. I question how well they were trained. I went to a hearing MD and got a test and they said I had nerve damage. I gave it to my tech and she seems offended and then they were worse the next 2 yrs. then I think now center changed hands. I went for adjustment and she made adjustments and said next time I would go in booth for an adjustment.
I did not think it worked before because I’d not been in it for 3 years. I did not like adjustment but did not have time to go back before my grandson’s graduation. At graduation party I could not stand noise in hall and removed hearing aids, went outside and put them back in and still could not hear kids’ low voice. I removed hearing aids, next day I found out I lost hearing aids. I will not pay $4000 for hearing aids again because of poor service. I think I can do better with cheaper ones I can adjust myself with my computer.

Approximately 20 months ago I bought two Miracle-Ear hearing aids from a site located on Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY. My cost was $6000.00 plus. I had to keep going back to get them adjusted but they never worked to my satisfaction. That is a large sum to pay and have them not work. I got tired of people telling me to turn down the sound on the TV as I was playing it too loud. I moved my office to Pennsylvania and was on the verge of seeing if I could turn them in and get my money back. So I found an office located on Campbells Run Road in Robinson Township, PA. I met the audiologist Sara ** and explained my problems. She retested my hearing for sound levels and sound quality. Tests I had never received before. The hearing chart was very similar to the one I had from Kentucky. She explained that I had profound hearing loss in one ear and serious hearing loss in the other.
She also explained that the receiver I was given was not the proper one for my hearing loss. She ordered me two new receivers and installed them on to my hearing aids. She adjusted the sound levels and immediately my hearing improved. She then adjusted my hearing aids to improve the sound quality and word recognition. While, since my hearing is very bad, some of my word recognition is bad it has been greatly improved. She had me come back for two follow up testings and I hear much better now and am not getting yelled at for playing the TV too loud. Sara knows what she is doing and I am very happy I found her. I feel like I was cheated out of 1 1/2 years of hearing only because of the wrong equipment and improper settings. Perhaps Sara should give lessons. One star above would have been 5 if I had found Sara first.

My wife was not given any replacement ones and it has been a week since she had them. In fact Miracle Ear had them longer than her. She cannot hear and it is causing a lot of problems since she cannot hear and I researched the companies and they seemed to be rated the best. They were Demo hearing aids sold as new. If I knew this from the beginning, I would never have used them.
Last time she bought hearing aids, the $3000 the insurance company gave was enough and they supplied batteries and service at the ENT office in a timely manner. They want to charge us 10% for something that did not even work for a week. How can this be? Is this not outright fraud? I do not even know if I was given copies to the purchase but I have the serial numbers of the hearing aids returned. They are 21QR65900 AND 21QR65890. We were not given the paper work for that day as it took hours to get through the appointment. We were felt overly pressured and I as the husband was meant to feel that I would be an uncaring husband if I did not spend the extra money that normally was covered by the insurance company. My husband, who is mentally impaired from chemotherapy, was tricked into signing a contract for a new loan with "Comenity Bank" to pay for hearing aids that he thought he was getting on a free trial, and the agent did not contact his wife, who didn't know he went there to get a "turkey coupon" and a free test. Don't go to Miracle-Ear without family members to protect you from people who prey on old people! He cannot pay almost $4,000 with his Social Security income, and the bank has already paid the Miracle-Ear store in our town, and are now trying to collect from him. I tried to return the product, but they said they cannot take them back after a few more than 30 days, even though he never wore them, and even after his oncologist's letter to both them and the bank, about what chemotherapy does to the brain. No compassion; they said he signed a contract, but he doesn't even remember that.

I have read some negative reviews about Miracle Ear and am sorry for your experience. I noticed a hearing loss and stopped into a Miracle Ear location. Rick checked my ears and found that I had ear wax build up and needed to have it removed. I was impressed with his honesty as I expected that he would just try to sell me hearing aids. Later I was suffering from genuine hearing loss, and remembered my experience with Rick and immediately went back to him. No high pressure and I did buy one hearing aid, that was in 2012. Is Miracle Ear the best hearing aid out there? I don't know. I did have some problems with mine but Rick was always available and solved any issues that I had. I have since bought a new pair and still have my original as a backup. Here in Northwest Tampa, Rick and Roxanna have provided excellent customer service, and have always been there when I needed them.

I cannot hear with my left ear. My right ear is good. The Hearing Aid Specialist told me to use 2 hearing aids for balance so I purchased them. After 6 months use, I took them out. Nothing but continuous whistling in both ears. Then I tried with 1 hearing aid only but the whistling is present all the time. Is it me, the HAS or the hearing aid? I don't know but I have the impression that the title HAS stands for Hearing Aid Salesperson. Also the app with Android does not work well and the HAS could not explain it to me. So there, $4500 down the drain.

On April 20, 2016 I purchased my hearing aids from Miracle-Ear and paid over $5000 for them. They have worked very well for me. The agent who sold me the hearing aids told me that a friend referral resulting in a hearing aid purchase would result in a $100 check for me. Following up on my recommendation, a friend (Robert **) also purchased hearing aids from Miracle Ear. This qualified me for the $100 referral bonus.
Yesterday, I met with your agent. She told me that my friend & given my name as a referral, and after had contacted an insurance company. The agent told me that I was disqualified from the $100 she had initially promised me. There are multiple hearing aid companies in this area. If I had not told my friend about Miracle-Ear, my friend would most likely have ended up on one of your competitor doorsteps. I believe that I, in good faith, referred my friend to Miracle Ear and had, therefore, rightfully earned the $100 I had originally been promised.

Earlier in the year my 87-yr. old father, who has had trouble with his hearing for years now, finally broke down and went to the Miracle Ear Springfield, PA store. My mother was with him, she is 84 years old. They were not planning on purchasing a hearing aid that day, just wanted to obtain some information. He found the sales technique employed to very pressuring and by the time he left felt overwhelmed, as most elderly people would feel with pressure sales techniques that were employed on him. He wound up going through the required hearing tests, left his credit card information for the deposits and had ordered a hearing aid, for approximately $4,000, after being told the lesser and cheaper one that was being advertised would not work for him because his hearing was the worst they have seen. THE OLD BAIT AND SWITCH.
After leaving and waiting a few weeks for the hearing aid to come in, he went out to pick it up and have it adjusted. After a few days he wasn't comfortable with what he was hearing through it and went and had it adjusted again. This happened over and over again until when approaching the 30-day money back guaranteed period, he finally said he did not want this hearing aid and asked for his money to be refunded.
This is when everything went from bad to horrible. The woman that had spent the time adjusting his hearing aid the many times he had to go back, was really aggravated, started telling my parents that they wasted hours of her time and that she could have been spending it with paying customers not complainers. The man who was the manager went further and told my parents that when they go into a nursing home and are in a wheelchair and slobbering on themselves that they will at least wish they could hear and will regret not having the hearing aid that they were trying to sell them.
My father has had medical issues in the past that thank God we have them under control, but stressful and confrontational meetings could bring these issues back. I do not appreciate him or anyone for that matter being 1). Taken advantage of by what seems like overly aggressive commissioned salespeople. And 2). Being talked to in such a way that is demeaning and derogatory. My parents as well as myself live in over 55 communities, over 750 potential customers, and if my parents were treated with courtesy and respect, even though it didn't work out for him, we could have said we recommend Miracle Ear in Springfield to our neighbors and friends, because they are very helpful and caring. But unfortunately this did not happen and no such recommendation will be made.

Unfortunately my experience with Miracle Ear is most disappointing. I can conclude that staff is trained to sell rather than service. My hearing aid did not fit, was not tuned effectively and 3 years later, I only wasted $3000. Please be aware and go elsewhere, where the intent is the customer satisfaction and not the corporate wallet.

Testing was done on my wife at Miracle-Ear in Teaneck, New Jersey. They informed us my wife needed hearing aids. Set the hearing aid for anywhere between $5000 and $8,000. We mentioned to them that we were both on a fixed income and they said it would work with us. Hearing aid that they said should be good for my wife for $7,000. We mentioned that that was too much. So the salesman slash doctor knocked off $1,000. The next morning which was Saturday we called up and told him to not for the hearing aid until I hear from us. They said that the hearing aids for already ordered the night before when we had the hearing test. The hearing test for her over and we were out of the office by about 7 p.m., no more than maybe about several minutes after we were in a parking lot both of the doctors exited the building and then entered their vehicles.
When they called me back Saturday morning after I called their answering service and left a message they told me that they could not cancel the order because it was already placed. The doctor received an email from their answering service. Call me back Saturday morning and told me that the hearing aids cannot be canceled because the order was already placed. He was very quick to tell me that he can cancel that order and order another set of hearing aid where one would cost $3,000 and the other hearing aid would be free. It sounded good so I said go ahead.
Today is Monday I made an appointment with another hearing aid company and mention to them the experience I had with Miracle-Ear. They mention that it wasn't possible to have the order filled in such a short amount of time and that it can be cancelled. He then called Miracle-Ear and spoke to the office and they told me is a 30% charge for cancelling an order. This I believe is not true. They're trying to push the hearing aid on us and scaring us into paying the $300 for cancelling the order when the product was not even made or in our possession.
I will fight this to the end. The other audiologist who went to do the hearing test told my wife she needs hearing aids. What can be a reasonable price that we could afford that would work, we gave him a price and he said okay not a problem and he said tomorrow afternoon the hearing aid will be in. My opinion stay far, far, far away from Miracle-Ear, from the experience my wife and I had personal at this office was a salesman slash doctor.

Said my father's hearing aid couldn't be fixed. Not true. After we wrote them a check for the new ones they were amazingly able to get the old one fixed and working again. Said only the expensive ones would work for him. Not true. Said they would come to his home if there was a problem. Never came - ignored phone calls. Receptionist seems to play a game to get people past the warranty/money back time. I told them repeatedly that the charger wasn't working but they said they never had one go bad and told me it was just the batteries -- which they gave me. That didn't solve the problem. They said they would have to order another charger - but they didn't have one in stock -- and then she told me it was on backorder? When I tried to return them the receptionist threatened me and told me she was going to call the police and have me arrested. Gave me phony/wrong phone calls to contact the owner.
Used a bait and switch sales method to convince my father to buy the more expensive hearing aids. Never helped me get them working correctly. My father paid $3,500 for hearing aids that he was not able to use and they refused to let him return them. Sad that you have people selling your product that don't tell the truth - make promises they don't keep and take advantage of the elderly.

I am very highly upset with the hearing aids that I have, I've ordered hearing aids from them before and I had no complaints at all. Now they say the new ones are bluetooth tech which is fine. Ever since the first day I've had them I have been going into their office for them to fix that problem and they've been sending the left one out and if not the right one out or the left hearing aid would come back and then the right one mess up and that one needs to get sent out.
I'm extremely mad and I called and I've told them I want new ones or my money back, and you know what they told me "oh the left one we sent out." They put something on it. Well I honestly don't care and would like brand new ones. I'm really not happy. That's a shame. I paid $4000 and change for them cash and don't think they even worth that. I feel like they worth 200 a piece. I feel like taking them to court for this still and or calling Help Me Howard with this problem cause this is very unacceptable.

BEWARE: DO NOT do business with Miracle-Ear out of the Springfield Ohio satellite office. After trying a pair of hearing aids from another manufacturer, we discovered a coupon on Miracle-Ear's website for "buy one hearing aid for $995.00 and get the second one free". We promptly returned the nearly $5000 pair we had purchased from the other manufacturer and received a FULL refund with no questions ask and headed off to Miracle-Ear. When presented with the coupon the technician there (Jessica) told us there was only one pair she could sell us using that coupon. No problem. We began asking all the right questions about warranties and such. Jessica told us that we could return the hearing aids within 30 days for a refund, but they would not refund the shipping, or within 90 days we could upgrade to a better pair and receive credit for the pair we were buying.
Mind you Jessica was extremely pleasant, professional, and seemed very customer satisfaction oriented and was willing to answer all our questions. We ended up paying just over $1000 to get the new hearing aids. Within the 30 day return period it became obvious to us that hearing aids were not going to be of any help for my husband who has almost continual sinus problems and tinnitus. We returned the hearing aids fully expecting to just have our credit card refunded the entire $995.00. NOOO. They had to email somebody or another to get the refund "approved". After waiting at least a week and making many phone calls we were finally told that whoever the powers that be are were going to refund us just over $200 bucks and keep the rest for shipping and handling. WHAT? Were they shipped to China and handled by God himself? TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.
Jessica NEVER mentioned anything about having to get a refund "approved", or "handling" charges, or fitting fees or ANYTHING else. She said if returned in 30 days we would get a refund but they would not refund our shipping. Our shipping according to our invoice was around 20 bucks... Certainly nowhere near the $700 they said they were keeping. We are still fighting with corporate, customer service, and of course the Springfield satellite office. We just keep getting told that somebody is going to email somebody. We called the Cincinnati corporate office, but they refuse to answer the phone or return the call after leaving a voice message. We have fought with them now for 2 weeks and still no resolution.
We will continue to fight the good fight because they now have our product AND our money and we have NOTHING but somebody supposedly emailing somebody. STAY AWAY FROM MIRACLE-EAR... far far away. The "30 day customer satisfaction guarantee" evidently comes with many limitations and little satisfaction.

I have a hemifacial spasm and a couple of brain surgeries which affected my hearing. I went into the Miracle-Ear store and received a hearing screen and started out with one ear. I got the off the ear and in the ear at that time, and I wore that for about 12 years. I upgraded to the Genius 1.0, and I have been wearing two of those for the past 3 years now. I really like it because of the wind, especially when I have to report in on a base or walk on a flight line. Where I live in Virginia Beach, lots of wind are coming off the ocean. That feature has been really been awesome.
I also tried the Bluetooth and I still have the little dongle that I can press. That was okay. But it would be much more convenient if Miracle-Ear had the Bluetooth feature in the Genius 1.0. The specialist took me off the dongle during my last check up because I work in an area where I can't bring my cellphone because of security reasons. It would be much more convenient if I could attach the dongle to the iPhone and just tap the side of it and pick up a phone call through the Bluetooth from the device itself, or change a program on the left, like we do with the volume on the right. It would also be better if it can connect thru WiFi. I would like to see more of that technology built into the hearing aid. I'm not with my cellphone a hundred percent of the day. I can't adjust a dongle, because I can't bring the dongle into a secured area, but I can wear the hearing aids because they don't broadcast.
I have seen some advertisements about the Genius 2.0 and it may do the Bluetooth feature. The rechargeable battery is going to be awesome, too. The batteries of the Genius 1.0 are only good for 10 to 14 days. We've got a whole year supply free when I purchased the hearing aids, but as the batteries get old, they don't hold the charge. When you start out with fresh batteries, 6-8 months into it, you're gonna put in batteries that are only gonna give you 8 - 10 days, instead of 14. I was at a conference in West Virginia once and the batteries on my Genius 1.0 ran out. I had to drive about 40 miles to find a Rite Aid store where I could get them. However, I'm not ready to upgrade to the 2.0 yet. I paid over 10 grand for the Genius 1.0, so it's pretty doubtful that I'll be upgrading for another five years. Also, the hearing aids are not covered by insurance. I wish they would have them on the health care plans.
But I have had no major issues with Miracle-Ear at all. The product is very good. It's wonderful. The company also had a good reputation to me and I was treated very well. They have friendly and great staff, and the receptionist was just wonderful. They were more like family. They were even to the point where I could just stop by when the little piece that holds the hearing aid into my ear is broken. I've seen Siemens and other companies that came along within the past 5 years. And they have had the rechargeable battery. I thought long and hard and looked at them. They're probably 20% less expensive but I thought at least Miracle-Ear had all the service. But not so much now.
The store had moved a couple of miles and we have gone through about 3 different specialists in the past year. So, it's troubling. I have been a Miracle-Ear customer for about 15 years, and they are like the Rolls Royce of hearing aids. And I really want that and I have purchased that. But I would like to see a shop here that's a little more stable. I got full service when Jack, my old specialist, was there. And I don't get that now. I must make an appointment. The appointment must be stacked, too, and there's nobody in the shop. And they don't know who I am and don't even try to upsell me on anything.
In my old hearing aids, we used to have a clicker for the volume control and a program setting. And that one went out on me. I stopped at the store and they gave me another one immediately. They had everything then, but not so much now because they don't know their customers. And I don't think they care to market to their customers. It really takes the personality of someone who is really patient and understands the importance of communicating one on one.

I've been using Miracle-Ear for eight years now. Their staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable. The technician and the receptionist are very cordial. If there’s any issue, they call me. I have a checkup every four months and they call me to remind me of my appointment. They clean the hearing aids and they ask me if there are any problems with it because they can be adjusted on a computer. If I tell them I'm having a problem hearing on the phone, they’ll put the hearing aid on a computer, call me right in the office and see whether there's any improvement. That’s the advantage of knowing how to resolve the issues and that's what keeps me with them. I don’t think any of the other hearing aids are any better or they’re any cheaper.
My hearing got worse as I got older so I upgraded a few years back. The pair I'm using now is contoured to fit inside my ear and it's not seen that much. I don't like the ones that go on the back of the ear. Also, I'm using the digital ones which make a big difference. It also beeps and tells me when the battery gets low. I have a battery tester that I use to test the batteries prior to installing it and I mark down when I install it. I keep track whether I get seven, eight, or nine days.
The issue I have with the Miracle-Ear batteries is they are inferior to some of the other batteries available and they don't last long. The batteries I bought online which are made in Germany last 12, 13 days but the ones from Miracle-Ear, if I get 9 days out of them, I'm doing good. When a battery only lasts 7, 8 days versus 10 and 12 days, I can use up a pack of eight batteries real quick which could become expensive because the batteries are not cheap. I mentioned that to the people at Miracle-Ear because the place where I deal with, they have nothing to do with the manufacturer of the hearing aid batteries. Other than that, the unit itself is a fine quality unit and as good as other units. Miracle-Ear keeps on improving them and the ones I have now will last me for another two to three years.

The very first time I heard about Miracle-Ear was when I was teaching at school and one of the teachers there was talking about how much she liked it. Then I got a thing in the mail and I thought of going over to Miracle-Ear, too. But when I decided I might want to have a hearing aid, I went to several different places before I settled on Miracle Ear. The guy at another place was more interested in his sales presentation. It was the kind of a very forceful hard sell they do on those places where they sell a timeshare. But the lady that I talked to at Miracle-Ear didn’t have a rehearsed sales pitch. We just had a conversation. She was also very considerate and caring.
Before I got my hearing aids, I was having such a hard time understanding what was being said because I was missing the first couple of letters of a lot of words. There was one time when I heard people talking about ducks and I didn’t hear a duck. I heard the "F" word. When I went into the Miracle-Ear store, they fixed my hearing then things started making more sense. And I like the fact that they took me slowly up. They didn’t just tell me what I needed and put it on me. They said that would be too brain-scrambling to be that strong that fast. I love the sales reps there. They are just wonderful. I can go over there and ask them for help, and they will offer solutions. They’ll clean my hearing aid up for me and readjust it if I'm having some trouble with it. I have never called for any reason that they couldn’t fix.
Having my Miracle-Ear, I can hear the people around me and if there’s too much background noise, I can turn my hearing aid off. And I had noticed I was picking up a conversation from a table that was two people over away when we went out to dinner. And I thought that’s pretty cool. It's also easier to watch television or whatever I’m wanting to do. I haven’t used them very much in the last six months though. I've been in bed and it’s just on and off occasionally all weekend. But one of the things I was interested in is the fact that it tends to slow down Alzheimer’s which my parents had. I didn’t realize that until I went into the Miracle-Ear office and there were all these articles about hearing and Alzheimer’s. I had also directed my ex-husband to Miracle-Ear because he thinks he has a buzz in his ear.

A week later I picked up new ones 3 hours after they informed me to come in. Was told they are dead, take home & charge before use. 18 hours later tried them for first time. Almost no change in sound as I assume you cannot program a dead aid. Went to Port Richey, FL store at 4 pm today Friday. Only office girl there. Boss gone. Told to come back Monday, 3 days later! I got a postcard in the mail that Miracle-Ear said they’d do a free hearing check. When I came in for the test, they have a little booth that they put me in. And they hook my ears up. I hear the little tones and I'm supposed to push the button. Their rep went through that and then she set up the hearing aid to those frequencies. It sounded too good once they fitted me with the hearing aid that I bought it. My left ear is in pretty good shape but my right ear was bad. With my hearing aid, I don’t have to blare the TV as much. My wife used to complain about how loud I have the TV. Now, she doesn’t when I have my hearing aid in.
The main body of the Miracle-Ear hearing aid sits behind my ear. Then there’s a small tube that runs down the part that sticks into the ear, and there’s another little plastic piece that loops into the ear to keep if from falling out. It’s almost unnoticeable. Plus it had a three-year warranty and it seemed to work really well. It is a little expensive, but once you own it, you can go back anytime you want to have it checked. They schedule me every four months to come back, and they’ll talk to me if I’m having any troubles. Most of the little parts aren’t much, and the rep replaces those once in awhile at no cost. I’ve never had any trouble with mine and they appreciate that too that they’re not constantly replacing it.

Now, it's a bit of a trip to drive from Cincinnati down to Cold Spring, Kentucky to get to him. My husband loves him and he's a good guy. He takes care of everything and he's super. Also, the hearing aid is good when he puts them in. He doesn't wear them sometimes. He gets up, walks out and puts them in his pocket to take with him. But if he's interested in hearing what people have to say, he'll get them out and put them on. Miracle-Ear has taken very good care of him.

Miracle-Ear's reviews were fairly good. They have different prices, ranges, etc, and we got the middle of the road ones. They're the behind the ear model and they work very well. They don't bother me at all. The other one fits in the ear but doesn't completely close the ear off. My wife was harder in hearing than me, but my big problem was pulling the voices out in the background noise like the conversation on TVs when we have music playing in the background. Miracle- Ear did help quite a bit with that. Also, the reps at Miracle-Ear are great and they treat us very well. Everything was on time and very professional. I feel that they are looking out for us to make sure that all our needs are met. However, the prices seem a little exorbitant. $3000 an ear is pricey. Other than that, everything was great. Our experience with Miracle-Ear has been so fabulous and they've been awesome to us.

I decided that since Miracle-Ear was closer, I’d go to it instead of going to the hospital or the other one that’s on the other side of town from me. I talked to the rep and it seemed like he knew what he was talking about. He was good about helping me decide and make a final decision of which hearing aid I wanted to get. I had one before that went inside the ear and I was always complaining about them. Every time we picked the phone up and tried to talk to somebody on the phone, it made a whistling and ringing noise so I decided to go with my current hearing aids. I tried these and they don’t do those noise.
The unit is on top of the back of my ear with a little microphone inside. It’s got a piece that goes inside and it’s got a little wire coming off of it and it sits up behind my ear. I can hear a lot better with it and it's worth the $6,000 I spent on them. I go back every three months and Miracle-Ear checks everything out. I’ve had one of my hearing aids quit working because of the sweat in my ear. I sent it over and within a couple of weeks, I got a new one back. Anytime I need anything done to my hearing aids, I take them up there and the staff help me out.

I don't like that little thing hanging out. In addition, one of them is broken so I'll I have it checked out. I'll also be checking out their new ones but they're expensive - they cost about $4,000, $5,000. Nevertheless, I'm satisfied with Miracle-Ear and I would recommend them.

When I first went in there, I was not hearing very well. And when I walked out, it was like day and night. It was wonderful. I got a digital one which goes in the ear with a little bud and a little plastic that goes on the outside of the ear. It's very small that people wouldn't even notice it and it's very comfortable. Their staff is very accommodating and their service was excellent. They're an A plus. I would highly recommend them to everyone that I know of that would need that kind of assistance.

I've had hearing aids for a long time since I was in my 40s. I can hear without them around here in the house, but I don't hear the phone ring if I am too far away from it. I can also hear conversations without them, but I need them to be fully participating in conversations. I don't hear everything, and I don't think they can bring my hearing back the way it should be a hundred percent.
I've had my hearing aids, like my first one, from some place else before Miracle-Ear. Then I starting having trouble with it. The volume couldn't be turned up anymore without me getting feedback. So, I went to Sears in the mall near where we live, and I saw the Miracle-Ear hearing aid there, and that's what I needed. I just got my new hearing aid from them, and I couldn't do without it. Several years ago before that, I went with the behind-the-ear style because I kept having fluid buildup if the hearing aid is in my ear. Even then, I wore tips that had air in it, to get through. These new one has the receiver in my ear, which makes the hearing better, and I'm not having trouble with it so far.
This new hearing aid has been really good and I like it. It has different settings on it, and I can use my phone to control and change the settings, like for the movies or in a noisy restaurant. I use the setting where it strolls around while I'm at church and the setting that will pick up voices all around me when I'm in a discussion group. In the last hearing test I had, the rep told me that I have improved from hearing 88 percent up to 96 percent of the words. She said that I was just getting trained to hear sounds that I hadn't heard in a while. I had taught reading in schools, so I am into phonics and sounds, and that also helps.
Katie, the customer service rep at the Southpark office where I go, is as nice and friendly as she can be, and she has helped me with problems. I love her. Since I've been going there, Katie and the receptionist have both been really nice. It's been great, too, with the team at Miracle-Ear. If I have a question or need an appointment, I call and they get me in as soon as they can, and they're always willing to help. I have not have a bad experience with Miracle-Ear, so I would recommend them.

I did not realize how much I was missing until I got my Miracle-Ear hearing aid. I'm a singer who plays the piano. Miracle-Ear hearing aids have really made a positive impact in my life both socially and with my music. Being a singer, I was very particular about my ability to articulate. I did not realize that I was losing my articulation until I got the hearing aids and worked with the program. The program that they use on the computer helps you re-learn to articulate quickly. It is very helpful and I would recommend anyone who gets hearing aids to utilize it to the fullest degree.
I got the model with the main part of the hearing aid behind the ear and a little piece going into the ear. I forget that I have them on most of the time. Also, this model's versatility is really good for me. It has the ability to be programmed for different functions such as noisy environments, conversations, music or TV. Additionally, I can't afford the one that goes in the ear canal so between versatility and the cost, this is the ideal model for me.
Moreover, Miracle-Ear's sales and customer service team have been wonderful. Paula at the front desk is one of the sweetest persons I've ever met. Also, Kevin has worked very hard to make sure that my hearing aids are balanced. After I had one repair, the frequency was not the same on both hearing aids and I could hear two different sounds. I've always had pitch perfect hearing and it was very irritating. Kevin worked with me to make sure that the frequency on both aids was exactly the same. Both Kevin and Paula are professional and personable. They make me feel comfortable.

I had my hearing aids that cost about $12,000 for almost 2 years. Right before the warranty expired, the left aid stopped talking to the Bluetooth completely, and to the other hearing aid. So I had volume on one and the situation button on the other but each could only affect one hearing aid. They took them back and fixed them for free. After I got them back (right on the warranty date) they lasted for about a month or two and the exact same thing happened but they refuse to fix what they didn't fix right the first time. Meanwhile, hounding me with propaganda about the "newest technology" like a used car salesman.
So I stopped dealing with them. Asked them to leave me out of the propaganda and I will find a new provider. You'd think they'd stop calling, but NO. Bugging me at work. Today, I finally called their corporate HQ and pretty much promised legal action if they don't stop calling me. From Seatle, my wife and I moved 80 miles south to a little town called Shelton and there were no hearing aid companies there at that time. The nearest one was located in a Sears store in Olympia, Washington which was 30 miles away. That was the handiest one and that’s how I got hooked with Miracle-Ear. There is now a Miracle-Ear store that opened in our little town, but even though I could just drive down three-quarters of a mile and deal with the technician here, I still drive 30 miles to Olympia because they’ve been so good to me. I've been pleased with the technician who has always worked with me and with the owner of the store as well.
I’ve had my hearing aids for so many years now and they've made me hear better. When I first went with Miracle-Ear, I only had one hearing aid. But as time went by and with repeated testing, the technician said that I needed two hearing aids. I refused to buy them and I continued with one. But she kept saying, “How are you ever going to tell which direction the bear is coming from that’s about to attack you if you can only hear from one side?” She finally convinced me about three years ago and I got one hearing aid for each ear and I’m very pleased with them. So far, my hearing should be perfect but due to this cold, I’m having trouble separating the words and asked people to speak slower.
Overall, I found Miracle-Ear to be better than the two different types of hearing aids that I had when I lived in Seattle. My hearing wasn’t as bad back in those days. I started losing my hearing because of loud gunfire in the army and it’s gotten worse over the years. But as far as the hearing aids are concerned, I know little about any others and Miracle-Ear has been fine. My brother-in-law and a friend of ours have gone to Costco to buy their hearing aids and they’ve had a lot more trouble than I’ve ever had. I’m very satisfied and I will never change to another brand.

It was a personal recommendation from somebody that sent me to Miracle-Ear and on I went. It's been 10 years ago since I tried somebody else and a little over five years ago, I got the first set of hearing aids with Miracle-Ear. The difference in the technology was greater at the time. So, it was an advantage to wait the period of time that I did and get something that was much more suitable for my use at the time. I can hear a lot better now. I miss less stuff and I'm sure all the people around me appreciate that I'm not saying "What?" all the time.
Also, I like talking to the lady that took care of me and I'm quite happy with their service. They've been very thorough and the testing is what helped the most and got me going with the product and with the service. I got the kind that inserts in the ear because it's less obvious and it doesn't get in the way. The Miracle-Ear hearing aids definitely are an improvement over the old ones that I had. But they're never perfect and there are always problems. In fact, I go back to see the guy at Miracle-Ear at least every other week for some adjustments, changes and problems we've had with them. But because I have pretty severe hearing loss and they're doing all that can be done, I don't have any complaints about it.
Their customer service people have been great to work with. They really bend over backwards to do whatever they can to straighten things out. One guy, Isaac, is very cooperative and works with me very well. Right now, my hearing aids are out. There was some problem with them that Isaac couldn't take care of in the store so he had to send them back to the factory to be reconditioned again. We started out with the hearing aids behind the ear that have the actual speaker in the ear. But it just wasn't powerful enough. Actually, it's what I'm wearing right now since this is what Isaac gave me to use while the others are back at the factory and they're terrible and just way too weak. So, we ended up going with the one behind the ear and the speaker is in the unit behind the ear. It feeds the sound to the tube into the ear. And it's the only one that seemed to be powerful enough for my problem. I would highly recommend them.

I literally started to cry because we’ve been married 35 years and I could understand her crystal clear. I never realized how deaf I was.
I got the over the ear model. They’re unobstrusive and so light it’s unbelievable. There’s so many different settings that could be made for them - one for church, one for TV, one for radio in the car, one for like a block out entirely of the background in the restaurant. It’s amazing. And they recommend that I don’t do the one that goes in the ear because my hearing loss doesn’t require that. I would notice things that I don’t want to notice like my heartbeat.
The people up in the Miracle-Ear office have been wonderful. They’re friendly, and welcome me like I'm part of the family. I go in every four months and the hearing aids are cleaned and adjusted to what I need. It’s wonderful and worth spending the money and has completely changed my life. It was my husband that started with Miracle Ear and then that's when I started going there. They've been very courteous and the guy there has been very helpful and tries hard to get it adjusted right because I'm not that used to the hearing aids. They were very hard to adjust. I had to go in quite a bit there to have them adjusted at first because it was too loud, sort of an almost distorted and blurry sound, especially on the right ear. I also go in about every four months to clean my ear and clean if there's wax on the hearing aids and they put on a new plastic cover.
But I'm not really too happy, particularly for a hearing aid in general. Sometimes on the phone, it’s blurry-like so it’s better without a hearing aid. So I take them off and hear clearer without them. Then, sometimes I would take them out when talking to people right up close because I could hear people better talking directly with my own ears. Then, it's hard to hear properly when there are other people talking and when there's any noise. I seem to get the noise more. It really increases the sound but it's just the sharpness of the sound somehow or the vibration. I prefer people talking louder without a hearing aid than less with a hearing aid. It also bothered me when we had the TV on, it would be loud at times and I would just take them out to cut down on that glary sound. I still have the little battery area over at my ear. But I pulled out the earplug a little bit, so I wouldn't hear it.
Then, I've gone to the bathroom one time and as I leaned over, I dropped one hearing aid down in the toilet as I flushed. Miracle-Ear's fairly expensive and was almost $3,000 for the pair, with tax and everything. So, I got another one that was a lot less and closer and it's almost more comfortable. I had them adjusted quite a bit. So I have two different brands now because I didn’t want to pay that much for the one that got flushed down. Right now, two of the little plastic ends over the hearing part came off so I have to go when I'm over that area.

I went to three different hearing aid companies before I settled on Miracle-Ear. When I first got them, I was a professor teaching at the university and I told my students the very first day that I don’t hear that well so if they ask me a question and I'm ignoring them, they can assume I didn’t hear them and that they should wave their arm or something. Then about halfway through the semester, I said that I’m going to get my hearing checked and maybe get some hearing aids. And they applauded. They were really glad when I got these.
I have the behind the ear model which was more expensive than the base model but I liked the idea of having customizable programs. I can set it to four different programs and raise or lower the volume. I have one program when I was in class, one when I was sitting in the office, one for watching television and one if I went to a loud restaurant. So that was a big benefit. The hearing aids made things a lot easier.
Their sales and customer service teams are also wonderful. They call me and say it's time for me to come by and so they can look at the hearing aids, make sure they're cleaned up and tune them if neede. I liked the guy I was dealing with. He seemed like he was dedicated to making sure that the devices are set and tuned right so he had me come back for the next couple of weeks, hooked the gears up to the laptop and see what I was listening to and how loud things were. This was really the idea of good service after the sale. And so, I have recommended Miracle-Ear.

I've been associated with people who have worn hearing aids and oftentimes I would hear horror stories from those that initially would hear just loud noise as opposed to clarity and definitive noises. I was in counseling the deaf so I know sign language and I was around lots of people with hearing aids and cochlear implants. So, I have knowledge of hearing and the things that it can and cannot do with the various devices. We were in the neighborhood and I was driving by Miracle'Ear's office in Austin and I decided to stop in. I went to another store for a time and didn’t get a very good service, so I came back to Miracle-Ear. I wanted hearing aids that met all of my needs by the separation of external noises from direct conversations, and Miracle-Ear has met these needs.
The sales reps are very accommodating and I've had very few complaints that are easily remedied. Now I'm far more comfortable in groups so that I can hear what's going on in the conversations. I'm a social person and Miracle-Ear has allowed me to be gregarious as I truly am. Also, I've had people comment on how small my hearing aids are and people that have asked me questions. I was on a cruise ship off the coast of New Zealand when I had somebody ask me about my hearing aids, and they were debating on whether or not to get some themselves. They were able to have an intellectual conversation about the pros and cons of the various hearing aids that I have experienced.
The only issues is that the Miracle-Ear hearings aids that I have are rechargeable. It's my second year now where the battery is beginning to wear and I'm just barely getting eight hours' worth of use out of them. Whereas before, I was getting 15 or 16 hours and I was hoping that that the hearing aids would keep me going. I have other regular batteries I can exchange in there so it's not a crisis, but I was waiting to my next appointment so I can discuss replacing these so that I can get additional hours.

I met a girl that worked at Miracle-Ear and she sold me their hearing aids. It works good for me and I can now hear with them. I'm very happy with Miracle-Ear. Their service is fantastic and their people are very nice.

Three stars because our experience is not over! My folks received a card in the mail with an offer stating 'no obligation' for a hearing test and ended up buying $10,000 worth of hearing aids! And they are not happy with them! Tomorrow I will go back with them and see if Miracle-Ear will refund the money, but my folks are so upset tonight. They are 87 and should not have been talked into this purchase. This just takes advantage of the elderly. If they give a refund tomorrow (or not), I will update this review.

Miracle-Ear was handy. Their hearing aids have given me back my hearing that I didn't have because I only had it on one ear and at the time I thought it was sufficient but I needed both of them. When I went in their place, their people took the time and explained to me what’s happening.
I ended up with two hearing aids. I had the in-the-ear model when I only had one hearing ear and it was like a plug in there. And when the batteries went dead I had worse time because I didn't hear anything then out of one ear. So I went in and told them that I would like to have an over the ear one. It sits up on top of the ear with the little wire that goes down in and it's more comfortable. Financially, it was a real struggle. I'm on a fixed income and Medicare and my private insurance doesn't pay for anything, but I’ve managed to overcome that.
Mike from the Brainerd branch has been very good and explained everything that they're doing. The follow-up service has been excellent, too. So I’m very satisfied. Also, I have an appointment coming on the 21st and the secretary keeps track of that and calls me the night before so that really helps. Being a senior, I sometimes forget. I would definitely recommend Miracle-Ear.

I've blended in now and I don't have to ask, "What did you say? What was that?" Now that I have Miracle-Ear, I can hear better than I did before. Their rep looks out for me and makes sure that they ask the right questions on what I'm dealing with. Then they make the adjustments accordingly after that. I'm very thankful that their customer service worked with me. I got their hearing aids that go behind the ear because it's cheaper. Then they called and asked me if I need to come back, which I did on the first of the month. They gave me the hearing test again to find out how I stood. One ear was worse than the other, so they made adjustments on that hearing aid. We do that once a year and I've had nothing but positive experiences with Miracle-Ear.

My uncle had Miracle-Ear hearing aids and had a really good experience with them. When we decided to get it for my mom, it made things a lot easier for us. The rep who assisted us was great and I love him. I would recommend Miracle-Ear to others.
Thank you for sharing your experience with Miracle-Ear! It is always great to hear about the positive affects better hearing can bring to a person's life.

I had been using Miracle-Ear's competitor but I was dissatisfied with them. I then got the behind-the-ear hearing aid from Miracle-Ear because of the amount of hearing loss I had plus the deal that was presented at the time I purchased. My hearing is now much better. The hearing aid works well and overall, I've had a great experience with them. Their rep in Chambersburg is wonderful and she deserves a raise.

I worked with Miracle-Ear 20 years ago as a telemarketer. I knew to talk to them about the hearing aids because my husband has had Miracle-Ear hearing aids since 1994. He has warranty on them. I did go to another provider and checked them out. I also went to the ear, nose, throat doctor and they had some available too. But when it came down to making my purchase, Fred, at Miracle Ear in Chattanooga, was very good to work with. I could come in and get adjustments or get them cleaned and I don’t have to pay $25 each time I come in and see him. Actually, we went in to get ours cleaned last week and found out Fred had left the week before. I was kinda lost there, but Barbara, a girl at Miracle Ear, took care of the cleaning and she did something else to one of my husband's. She’s very good, but Fred is very very very good.
I got the behind the ear model with the little plastic tube that runs into the thing that goes into my ear because that's the kind that my husband has and I wanted it to not show up much. I'm 60, but I didn’t want a big old bulky thing on my head. They are comfortable to wear and I can hear and understand a lot better. I sometimes forget to put them in, but my husband never forgets because he’s practically deaf. I only have the one for the left ear and it’s only 30% loss, but I can hear things a lot better and I enjoy it.
Miracle-Ear hooks the hearing aids up to the little computer and Fred can do different things with them, so they're a life saver. In my husband’s case, his hearing has gotten worse over the years and he has changed hearing aids and upgraded to the Genius. I also love the little app on the phone where I can change the settings for listening. It has different settings or different things I'm trying to hear and I can adjust it with the app. Like if my husband goes into a place like a theater that has some kind of special something, he can adjust something on his hearing aids with a little app. If he sits and talks to somebody and there’s a lot of noise around, he can make it to where the hearing aids only listen to what’s directly in front of him instead of picking up all the stuff behind him. And that's pretty cool.

I already had some in-the-ear hearing aids before but it was only for one ear and I didn’t like it. They always had to be refitted and it just didn’t work so I hadn’t had a hearing aid for two years since my main damage is just in one ear. But, I went to this gentleman at Miracle-Ear and they had a nice program. I couldn’t believe that I could actually have them put in my ears and they worked. When I'm tested, I walk outside and the hearing aids worked and I got to wear them for 60 days without paying for them. I then went back, asked them for a deal, and I bought them.
I'm getting all the updates I can from Miracle-Ear and I want them to make sure I get my checkups done and wherever I go to, they're checking on me all the time. I recommend them to everybody I see. In fact, they have given me a couple of my bonuses when I've gotten somebody else to come in and buy hearing aids from them. They’ve taken care of me and they do a great job. My experience with them couldn’t be better.

Miracle-Ear had a promotion of a certain price so, I decided to check it out. I did compare prices and when I went to Miracle-Ear, I was very satisfied with the product so, I stuck with them. I got the one over the ear and then goes into the ear. It's small, convenient and it was easy to replace the battery. Also, their customer service staff and receptionist were great. The one that services my Miracle-Ear in Meriden every three months is super. He's very professional and I rate him a 10. Every time I go in, they take it apart, clean it out good and ask me how I'm doing and if there's something to be adjusted, they adjust it. I've had it for almost two years and it's great. I can hear better when other people talk and I usually have to turn my television way up but now, I don't have to. I would recommend this hearing aid to anyone.

The people that run Miracle-Ear office out here are excellent. Tina is as knowledgeable as anybody that they have on staff anywhere and I would put her up against anyone. When I have an issue, I just set up an appointment, go in, and she takes care of it. I ask my questions, she asks me how I'm doing and makes adjustments to the hearing aids if I need them adjusted. I would love to have the in-the-ear out of sight hearing aid, but behind-the-ear is the only one I could afford. I had to send them back in once and she's replaced the receiver in both ears at least once. Other than that, hearing is a wonderful thing and I really like my hearing aids.

I'm practically deaf in my left ear. A lady I know said her husband got the best care and attention when he went to Miracle-Ear rather than some of the other places he had gone to. The earpiece I'm using, which I got for its cost, goes behind my ear where it picks up the sound then sends it to the little piece that's stuck inside my ear. I'm comfortable going to them. I go for regular check-ups and from time to time, and if the earpiece goes on a fritz, I bring it to them and they clean it. Last week, there was a problem with the earpiece itself so they had to send it out. But hopefully, I'll be picking it up when I go there next Tuesday or Wednesday.
Miracle-Ear is attentive. They're all very pleasant and very informative of what's going on. They take the time to sit me down, and they can show me on a graph how my hearing is doing from ear to ear. They also made an effort to tell me how some of my hearing loss is age-related. I'm quite happy with them. I'd recommend them to somebody looking for a hearing aid.
