A friend of mine recommended Audicus. He went through them and he said that it's a hell of a product and the service is incredible. I did some checking, and I found out that their products are the same as other products for less money. I’m thrilled. I spoke to the Audicus people numerous times. They're tremendously service-oriented.
My hearing aids work. I put them on, and I forget that they’re on. They're very comfortable. I went to sleep one night and I forgot to take them out. On DISH, when you press the up or down button for volume, they give you a number while it goes up. My wife and I were listening to the news and I was running it at about a 26. She kept saying, “Please turn it down. It’s too loud.” Then I got my Audicus hearing aids and I noticed that I was doing it at 9. It was an incredible improvement. I would recommend Audicus to anybody. Their service is fabulous.

I have been partially deaf my whole life and always having to have people repeat themselves and never heard crickets and some birds someone brought it to my attention so I decided to check my hearing and sure enough I was partially deaf. Customer service was caring and well knowledgeable and the hearing aids are great. No more making people repeat and I heard crickets for the first time ever as well as other sounds that I've never heard and it's all so crisp and clean.

I got the outer ear hearing aids, but I just sent mine back in because we have to wear masks and helmets for my job and it was conflicting with that. Plus, the clarity could be a little better. I definitely noticed my TV volume was lower, and my wife, dealing with me for as long as she has and having the hearing loss, definitely could talk not quite as loud. It was just the conversations. We have electronic hearing protection at work that amplifies stuff, and it reminded me of that. You could definitely hear things better. It just wasn't any clearer. I still have some issues with knowing exactly what people are saying.
The hearing aids are a good tool, and at some point down the road, I'll get some inner ear ones. I talked to Audicus, but they didn't make an inner ear one that would work for the type of hearing loss that I have. My stuff's all high pitch and I have moderate to severe hearing loss. They said that the stuff inside the ear is typically for not quite as dramatic hearing loss.

The thing we love is speaking candidly and confidently to Audicus representatives who truly seem to care and to listen and who are also knowledgeable. Not only do their staff people like Sean and Gianni do follow up and have authenticity, but also Audicus has employees with longevity and competency which adds value to their company. We like their hearing aids very much; sadly, we had to reorder a newer pair for my husband because he lost one of the older ones.

Audicus does it all. From testing your hearing to offering a full line of hearing aids and great post sales support. I purchase a new set of hearing aids from Audicus after I lost one of my 10 year old Audicus set and the remaining one I destroyed inadvertantly. My new waves are head and shoulders above the level of the older ones. The new WAVE aids were delivered programmed for my hearing profile based on the online test. They are fantastic and have stored my hearing to normalcy by my judgement. And after Gina, my Audicus Support person help me find the right dome for my ears, they are so comfortable, I don't even know that I am wearing them.

I went online to do the hearing test and there, I ended up getting a phone call from an Audicus sales rep. I placed my order roughly a week ago on a Friday, I got it on a Saturday, and I've been wearing them ever since. With only roughly seven days using it, it's very good. I downloaded the app to adjust the volume on each of the hearing aids. The one thing I don't like about the app is that if I move it over to a single icon and only adjust one of the two, it will move them down in the current position that I have them set, just at a lower level, keying in on the lowest level versus the highest level.
But now, I get to turn the TV down from a 19 to an 8 and that makes my wife ask me to turn up the volume so she can hear. So, my hearing’s improved. Although, the one thing that I've noticed, I pick up a lot of extra noises that I don't think would be normal in normal hearing. I can hear my dogs walking and their toenails clicking, indicating they need to be trimmed. Under normal circumstances, I don't think I would hear that. I also hear noises when I'm turning the page in a book or my wife is turning the page in a book. I think I just haven't gotten the system tuned properly to my ears.

I was pleased with customer service and the way they paid attention to what I was saying and asking, and they answered all my questions. They were very quick to get the hearing aids to me too. It was very good customer service. Unfortunately, for the money, at this time, the Audicus didn't help that much to improve my hearing. It’s a lot of money, and I'd like to have strong results when I spend that.

As I live in South Africa I have to use a shipping agent to forward the Audicus deliveries. When the goods enter South Africa they require an invoice. I have to request one each month which is always supplied promptly. It would be helpful if an invoice was generated automatically with each shipment and emailed to me, however they are always efficient in providing me with the required document.

I lost my hearing aids while with my doctor and they were never to be found. We called Audicus immediately because it can be very difficult to hear much of anything without them. Audicus and their great people sent out new ones within a day or two and because we are members the cost was much less than we had imagined.

I have been happy with the Audicus product and online service with absolutely zero hassles or problems. Every morning the product has performed flawlessly. There wasn't even any adjustment once I received the units since the online test was apparently so accurate.

Updated on 4/19/2022: As of right now I'm very satisfied with my Spirit aids. Still getting used to them. Way better than my old Audicus aids. Don't really care for this type of wax guards but with time I will adapt to them.
Original review: Both could have been set up better. Left ear have to turn down. Right ear has to be turned up. With my hearing loss they needed to set lower so that I can raise volume but that being said they still need to be where I can hear better. Had them about a year now. Can't wait to take another test and new ones.

Updated on 04/12/2022: I experienced my Audicus Aura’s falling out occasionally. Audicus suggested I try a different size dome. I did and it has seemed to work better, but they still move and need to be pushed back in to work properly. Hearing aids fitted to your ear canal don’t do this and stay put. My Audicus Auras work pretty well but I still miss a lot and constantly have to ask unaffected people what was said.
Original Review: I called asking if there was a larger dome to prevent the Aura from popping out. I was instructed to send in pictures of how far into my ear the Aura was which I felt was unreasonable. I was probably going to be told that I hadn’t inserted the Aura far enough into the canal. It can be jammed in a little further but I was experiencing the dome separating from the Aura and sometimes it’s almost impossible to find or remove it, which is scary.

Enjoyed ordering with Molly, and Jake has been excellent with following up They were both able to answer my questions about the Audicus Clara aids. That is not usually the case when talking to salespeople, who appear to have a very limited amount of product knowledge. That was not the case with Audicus staff.

The rep, Chris, has always been available every time I call. Either he will answer or someone else will, and they'll answer my question right away or go through troubleshooting. A couple times, I had some issues with the app and they resolved it right then and there, which is impressive. They also have a Care club and every few months, they send me batteries and the wax cleaners, so I didn't have to think about it. It was convenient for me.
I wore a different brand of hearing aids for a while, and I had more problems with them. Eventually, I had to give them back. When I got the Audicus hearing aids, I couldn't believe that I didn't have the feedback, the whistling and other types of tinnitus problems. They're also very cost-effective and they work. Before, I spent several thousands out-of-pocket, and it was ridiculous. This was very affordable, and it doesn't even compare. The quality is still the same, if not better.
I can't start my day without my Audicus hearing aids. I'll pick them up in the morning and put them by the computer. Even talking to my husband, I was like, “Hold on. Let me put my ears on.” I feel definitely more engaged because when I don't have them yet, I retreat because I can't hear anything. They have truly been a tremendous difference in my life and a big plus. Bluetooth being incorporated really helps with phone calls too.

For a while, I seemed to be having a problem with the left Audicus hearing aid. It would work intermittently. But lately, it seems to be working okay, and I'm not quite sure what to think of that. I've also had to call into Chris for three days and he hasn’t called me back yet. I want to get the Bluetooth set up, which I have not done yet. I tried it and I couldn't seem to make it work myself. I also would like to know what my payment plan is and how much and when to pay. But other than that, for the price and for the support systems, I would like to keep them. I'm pleased with Audicus. It seems to work and it's certainly a lot less money. For me, that was part of what I was looking for.

The guys I worked with, Bobby and Jordan, at the Lone Tree, CO location, have been nothing short of phenomenal. I am located out of state and was in need of hearing aids for my mom. My mom is a resident in an assisted living facility, and having no way to transport my mom to the Audicus facility. I was really stuck. Bobby said, "No problem, I will go to her and perform hearing tests and get her what she needs." Wow, above and beyond to me. He has made trips back to the facility to see how she is adapting and if anything further was needed. Great customer relationship is noteworthy these days.

Audicus was advertised at Sam's Club. I was thinking I was dealing with Sam's but it turned out, no. They're just contractors. We were led to believe we could get a deal there. We didn't want to spend too little, but we didn't want to spend too much either. I negotiated a discount with them. They were offering $400 off but I felt their advertising was misleading enough and I raised a stink about it. They said they'd give me another $200 off. I told them I'm a veteran so the total discount was $600, which I very much appreciated. I like the way they handled themselves. I liked especially the fact that they were kind and open enough to negotiate with me on the price. We have insurance that's supposed to reimburse us for part of it. So, it cut the cost for us nearly in half.
The hearing aid is a good product that's in transition. It has yet to be perfected all the way around. I wanted Bluetooth and I got it. So far, I've been able to hear the TV well enough without having the Bluetooth plugged in. I wanted not to mess with batteries and I was able to get the rechargeable feature.

My Audicus is my third generation of hearing aids. I investigated things for price, for size, for range of amelioration of hearing, and they seemed to fit well. I went to another company before this and the hearing aid just did not measure up. The size of the Audicus hearing aids is perfect. It was the same size as a pair of $7,500 hearing aids. The size was very important to me and the ease of use, setting up. I also see no difference between this one and the high-priced brand that I was using. Their website was also very good. Over the phone, they were able to give me enough information on the specific size. Just the information, personally, to me, was very useful.

One of my aids stopped functioning. I was happy with the repair. To repair the nonfunctioning aid, I was told to send the functioning aid with it. I was not happy with the length of time the repair took. Thus, I was not happy with the length of time I had trouble hearing. I think that when the repair is not operator error, as was the case here, Audicus should pay for the cost of sending the repair to Audicus and the return by air.

I have ordered the same hearing aid twice from Audicus (I lost the first one) and have been very impressed with the quality and service both times. The Internet is full of questionable hearing aids that turn out to be different from the types you would get from a registered audiologist. But the ones from Audicus I purchased (the Clara model) seem to be top-quality using the latest technology and the same that you would get from a top manufacturer like Siemens, Widex, etc., except without the ridiculous price mark ups.
The Clara is much much better sound clarity than my 10 year old Widex and I like that you can adjust the volume on the device without needing a remote or app. It also has two microphones and auto adjusts to background noise which is great. I never have felt the need switch it to different sound profiles/programs manually unlike my older hearing aid. I like that Audicus offers models that use batteries rather than having to be recharged since batteries are so cheap on the Internet now and I can always have spare batteries handy rather than needing to be constantly recharging a built-in battery that will eventually fail over the years. I also like that I can avoid having to pay for Bluetooth connectivity which is pointless for me since I only use a single hearing aid.
The only downside is that I don't live in the US, so shipping the hearing aid back for reprogramming or maintenance would be a pain, but I haven't had to do that. It would be great if I could reprogram the hearing aid myself (or have it reprogrammed remotely, but those hearing aid models are several hundred dollars more). The followup from Audicus is great. They are very quick to answer questions and provide suggestions.

I tried the monthly rental plan with the Wave hearing aids for almost a year. The hearing aids worked well and I could finally understand my wife when she spoke. Audicus sent the hearing aid supplies automatically and if I need extras, they sent them. No questions asked. Recently I decided to purchase the Clara aids since I have no need of bluetooth and they are similar in quality and reasonably priced. A friend of mine spent $7000 on hearing aids with all the add ons and I think mine work fine for a quarter of the cost. I returned the Wave aids and am now using the Claras and quite happy with them. The customer service is excellent and I would recommend Audicus.

I had a hearing aid and it broke and I was gonna have to buy another one. I wasn't happy with the one that I had and Audicus contacted me about a hearing aid, so I thought I would try it. It's better than the one I got from Beltone. I'm happy with Audicus. I like the sound amplification. It's a pretty simple hearing aid, but it amplifies the sound a lot more than the Beltone one did.

Different things that I complained during my trial period, that were never fixed. Like connecting to my cell Bluetooth only if I was close and the device was in its box being charge. Device always falls off my ears. Among others Carlos.

I saw that Audicus had a good rating. So, I decided to give them a try. I tried the hearing aids that go into your ear, and they did not feel that good. So, I decided to try the one that I purchased from Audicus to see how it worked. I purchased it online and the experience went well. The hearing aid seems to be working well. It fits well and it seems to improve my hearing. I had used it and it doesn't seem to bother my ear. After a period of time, it seems like I forget it's even there. So, it's working out real well.

Happy with service overall. However, I was disappointed to learn recently that I could have gotten the same thing at my local Costco for 1/2 the price. Rechargeable, Bluetooth, remote programming for $1400 CND for a pair. I recently paid Audicus $2900 CND for their top of the line Behind the ear units.

It was nice to have Jake keeping me company answering all my questions along the way. The only thing that I am not happy with, is that I went to the store in Denver (Great guy there. Very knowledgeable and helpful) but he got the tail that helps piece stay in place. Therefore next day I called Jake for help and he kindly told me he would send the tails but before they got here my two HA fell down and I lost them. It cost me $$ to get a replacement. Was this 100% my fault? Why did I had to pay like I did? Carlos

I used other brands of hearing aids before and they didn't do what I expected them to do. If I lost a hearing aid, it would cost me several thousand dollars to replace it. Audicus is the third brand of hearing aids I've had and they work as good, if not a little better, as any I've had. They also have an insurance program that covers loss. I like that they are rechargeable too. Don't waste your money on Miracle-Ear. They cost more than any of the others and they don't do as much. I was very disappointed with them. I get just as good of hearing out of Audicus for a third of the price. If you get enough hearing that it improves your hearing a good bit, you're doing well.

Good communication with the selling agent and the the support staff on how to use my hearing aids properly. Received the product very quickly and promptly. The hearing aids work perfectly however they are slightly larger than my previous pair from Audicus.

I liked the fact that Audicus has German technology with a Swiss ownership. I had a very good experience throughout the entire process with the salesperson, Tiffany, and the audiologist, Chris. They passed all of my various concerns and tests that I had come up with in terms of the scenarios I wanted to make sure they were helpful in. And I shared that all with Tiffany and with Chris. They've been very good about making themselves available for me. I had four or five specifically different types of scenarios that we had talked about. Every one of the hearing aids came out great. I use them every day and I enjoy wearing them.
It took four days to get used to them, because at first, there was a bit of itching once in a while. And the scenarios that I had were different from television with my wife and riding in the car and general conversation and meeting with people, and amplified music during a live rehearsal of amplified music. How would they react? And I didn't know if they would feedback. I didn't know if it would be better or if I would notice it. But the clarity is good.

I ordered the wave due to its Bluetooth connectivity and overall rating. The problem is the size. The hearing aid sits high over my ear. I'm a police officer and I need for it to be a snug fit. I've talk with a representative. She sent out a longer wire and suggested that I switch domes. It's a little better but with my glasses on I still have the ride over that arm of my glasses.

I ordered the Audicus Wave hearing aids for both ears. I have been exceptionally pleased with my experience thus far. The Audicus Rep. checks in periodically to see if I need anything and orders are processed timely. I love the ability to "try them out" before purchasing. The leasing option works for me as I acclimate to wearing hear aids. I am sure I will eventually purchase my hearing aids but I like the fact that there is no long term commitment and I have time to see if there are features I prefer before committing to the purchase. I highly recommend Audicus. Their products are top notch, the service is amazing and I will stick with them for my hearing needs.

I'm going to say that purchasing my new hearing aids was a very good experience. My tinnitus is greatly reduced, problems w loud environments gone, don't have to be looking you square in the eyes to hear and understand anymore. My salesperson and tech person are very knowledgeable. All questions answered and when aids arrived they work as described. I have and will recommend them to others in need.

As a years-long Phonak user, the prospect of working with a remote hearing aid provider made me a bit (ok, very) nervous. I was shocked by the success of this endeavor for two reasons:
1) The Wave hearing aid, while reasonably priced, turned out to surprise me with the high quality of its fidelity, as well its bluetooth functionality (app, phone, media) was all that I hoped for. I was surprised that an online hearing test could result in an aid which so closely matched my deficit.
2) The kindness, knowledge, and patience I received from the Audicus support staff while I was settling into the aids far exceeded my expectations. Considering the price of these aids, I expected support would be minimal. This could not have been farther from the truth. Throughout the ordering and tuning process, I felt like a highly valued customer.

I have been wanting to upgrade my hearing aids but I wasn't ready to go spend $5,000. I was taken by Audicus' promotion and advertising. The more I looked into it and checked their status, I become aware that they are a decent product. I'm pleased with the quality of the hearing aids I got and I'm hearing things that I haven't heard for a long time. It's clearer too. That was what I was after because there were certain levels of my wife's voice that weren't there. She would say something and I would hear parts of it. Sometimes it's not enough to really identify what she is saying. We made adjustments to my hearing aids and now they are able to capture those parts, which is much better.
I had a couple of issues that I was disappointed with but they were solved almost immediately. The hearing aids are a lot of money and I wonder if they should even be having those issues. I had an issue last week. In the morning, I took the hearing aids out of the charger and one of them didn't come on. I called Audicus and spoke with a very pleasant person. She was on top of her game and said they would take care of my hearing aids. She walked me through the procedures. One was a 20-second procedure while the other was a 30-second one. After that, the hearing aids were working. That was great but it would have been nice if the problem did not even happen.
Another thing was I went on my phone and the app was able to identify with our church's up-to-date modern system, but my hearing aids were dead before the day was over. I sapped the battery on it. Yesterday, I didn't bother to turn that feature on and I could hear fine. The frustration of the dead battery was more concerning than missing a little something in the church.

I contacted Audicus on a Saturday and they called me on a Sunday. I was very busy then and I asked if they could call me back on Monday. They did and at the time I told them, but I wasn't free. I got sent a nasty text. But I needed the hearing aids so I dealt with it. Another problem I had is they ordered my hearing aids before I took their hearing tests. It's really forcing people to get these hearing aids before their test is completed. Then, because I paid for these first, the second I completed the hearing test, I got a coupon for $400 off the hearing aids I just bought.
I didn't know how much these hearing aids cost to begin with. They sent me a coupon for $400 off. I don't have a receipt paying $400. I told the rep he can take the hearing aids back and before I could hang up the phone, he had already emailed me a return form for the hearing aids. If I didn't need these, I would have sent them back. But as far as the quality, it's not bad. I decided I'd try these hearing aids for a few weeks and if these don't work, Audicus has already sent me my return stuff. I'll just send these to them then.

Part of the reason I purchased from Audicus was the price and their customer service seemed good. I was looking for hearing aids with Bluetooth capability and theirs has it. I spoke with a rep first about making a purchase and that person was knowledgeable. I've only had my hearing aids for a couple of weeks and I’m happy with them. I am now hearing other different sounds that apparently, I haven't been hearing before.

They make an error and can't track their own notes. Same old, same old. This time though they screwed up when setting up with a different hearing aid membership, want to keep charging me for the one I'm switching from, and want to blame me for it. And get this: they still have yet to ship out my new hearing aids -though promised to be shipped no later than Monday, 10/18/2021- but a demanding I send my old ones back. They're actually refusing to even send out the new ones because of their mistake in the membership switch.

It took 3 days from when I emailed to get a response, then agent was more than willing to help and send a repair but he didn't ask which ear so emailed again asking which ear wire to send, but that was a day later, now we're at the week-end so he didn't get my message for the 3 days w/ week-end, then sent the wire which took 8 days to arrive. In the meantime for this approximately 2 weeks, I'm w/o a hearing aid in one ear, not only couldn't hear out of that ear but of course had no TV thru the TV hookup either in one ear. I'm happy w/ the results but for your boasting of customer service, when it takes 3 days to get a response then agent didn't read initial email which said "left ear", so had to ask and then that delayed everything before shipping for 3 more days plus the 8 days of shipping. Don't know why you can't sent stuff so it gets here overnight or in a few days, but 8 days shipping - that's ridiculous.

I find the hearing aids pickup all noises loudly but I still have trouble hearing what people say. This is especially true when more than one person is talking. Voices seem loud but understanding individual words is still difficult for me. Otherwise, the aids work well.

Frankly I am not putting up with support that treats me stupid. The new hearing aids have static. The best they could do was to tell me to start wearing them and I would likely adjust. I felt like they thought they were dealing with an old man in diapers and slobbering on myself so I wouldn't know the difference. It is static. Then they finally conceded and told me go to an audiologist in my area and get a hearing test. Then they could program more accurately. Programming to be more accurate was not the problem. There is STATIC. So I went to the audiologist to get the hearing test. They were so attentive I bought the hearing aids from them. You really have some competence problems. Send me to the competition? I am sending them back to you tomorrow.

I'm a technologist, pilot, and senior citizen - the worst of everything. I know too much - rely too much- and when it comes to patience, not so much. The Spirit - rechargeable - HA's with a power-pack charger simply do not waste my time. The Bluetooth stack works (!) effortlessly and the HA's boost exactly the correct range & gain for my dented hearing curve. I never think about them. They're always charged, always do the job, and if they have a weakness it's that wearing them with glasses and then looping a mask around my ears is a real pain. Best, Kirk

The Bluetooth seems very erratic. Sometimes only one ear on and sometimes both with phone call and music. Having trouble with volume. Still in 45 day period of adjustments. I was looking for a lower-priced hearing aid than what I could get at the doctor's, which was $4,000. I got Audicus and I was impressed. They asked for my hearing tests and I sent them. The hearing aids were programmed according to my hearing test. It's of excellent quality. I like that I can hook them up to an app on my phone and adjust them from my phone so I don't have to be trying to adjust them manually and always having to touch them. I also like that they had really good customer service. They were always checking back with me. I could text and email them and they would call me. I'm really happy and comfortable with them. When the domes that they sent were too big, they sent me a really tiny pair and they checked up with me a lot of times. I can now hear better and I hear a lot of different sounds I didn't hear before. Everything is clearer.

My dad's Phonak hearing aids wore out and he cannot afford them again. His friends who had Audicus told him to try that. They're wonderful and my dad's loving them. He can hear his shows on TV a lot better. He can hear me and my family members a lot better too. It was always tough for him to hear us before.

Audicus' support was really good. I had three different conversations with somebody by phone and I made the actual purchase online, but he gave me a lot of good advice. With the hearing aids, I can hear sounds in the high register that I was not hearing at all before. If I have them in and then I take them out, I'm amazed at how much less I hear. It's really weird. I like the fact that I get a call through the hearing aids, but I wish it was easier to find the button to reject the call because I end up sort of hunting behind my ear. It's pretty obvious what I'm doing and it's kind of awkward. The button is so small. Also, I get a little bit of static sometimes, but I contacted support about that and they told me that it was often a function of the hearing aids needing to be cleaned. So, that seems to take care of it. Then part of it is that if I have them in long enough, my brain kind of adjusts and I don't hear the static anymore.

I'm really happy with Audicus. I like the Bluetooth. I chose Audicus because it was less money and their product seemed the real deal. These look like the ones that Beltone and Miracle-Ear and the big players, Costco, have. They also didn't have a cheap look to them like the other discounted ones. I had Miracle-Ear for about six years. The thing with Miracle-Ear is they call you back after about a year, and immediately, they're starting to try to sell you new hearing aids after one year. So far, nobody has ever called me back from Audicus trying to push a new set of hearing aids on me, even though I'm probably getting to the point that they could sell me on some. I had hearing aids before, they replaced the ones that I had. They did a better job. Without them, I'm lost. I've recommended Audicus to a lot of people and they've been happy with them, too.

I had already had a set of hearing aids before by Oticon, and I was having some difficulty with those. I got contacted by Audicus and I ended up speaking on the phone with a guy named Matt. He explained how Audicus works, how it would link up with my phone, so it made sense to me. I hadn't quite paid off the Oticons, but they were close, and they weren't working for me quite as well as I wanted. So, after talking to Matt, and looking at the different options, I went with what he recommended and he got a pair of the waves. So far, they've been working fine. They charge well and I can talk on my phone through them. It has Bluetooth accessibility as well. I'm hearing a little bit better. I'm pleased with how they're working.
The only thing I haven't quite figured out is if there's an app that I can use. I know how to hook them up on Bluetooth, but if there's an app that I use, I can adjust it while I'm wearing them. With the Oticons, I knew where to push a button and I can increase the volume. I'm not sure where that is with the Audicus waves. Overall, I'm pleased with Audicus. I've already recommended them to a buddy of mine.

The hearing aids I had for five years were no longer working very well. I went back to my audiologist and she had told me that it was going to be 6,900 for the hearing aids. I called Audicus and I got to talk to this guy named Ben. He told me all the stuff then said he would check back to see if he could help me. He called back and he missed me. He called back again then I called him back. He was very nice the whole time and he did his job extremely well. I spent 35 years managing a company so I'm very aware of how that stuff works and I appreciate people who are not pushy and know what they're talking about. That was why I went with Audicus.
All companies have free hearing tests. You can go as many times as you want if you think something's not right. What's different with Audicus is I could do their hearing test online to see what it is and see if anything changed. I decided to go with the best hearing aids that Audicus had because I wanted to try to do everything. After speaking with them and after being told why the particular model was better as well as what it could do, I investigated again and decided to go with the better set.
I could have complete my purchase online but Ben said he could also do it with me on the phone. He called back the next day and we did that. He helped me fill out things quickly and it was extremely easy. Things worked out well. I was happy that Ben was very informative and was willing to do what was needed to get the job done. Even the follow-up is extremely good. A rep named Gina constantly sends tips and questions. She asks if everything is okay and if I have any questions. I'm happy with everything and I recommended Audicus to a couple of people.
On the whole, I'm hearing well with my Audicus set. I don't have to ask my wife "Huh?" every time she talks. I can turn my hearing aids up and down either left or right or both. Sometimes, when I'm watching television and there are other people in the room, I turn them down and not up. That works a little bit better. When I'm outside, it's better when they're louder.

Audicus' hearings aids are really hearing aids and not amplifiers. A lot of companies advertising online are just amplifiers. I bought a set of hearing aids about four years ago and I was pretty well-satisfied with them. I did my purchase over the phone and the person was very knowledgeable although there were a couple of questions that she really wasn't sure about. She got back to me with a later call.
My hearing loss is pretty bad, especially in the right ear. I scored two out of five on the hearing test. My hearing aids have changed my life somewhat. But sometimes, I would go a day without wearing them because when I'm around the house, they tend to make the inside of my ears a little sore. I tried other domes sizes and they didn't work as well as the medium domes. I have the Spirit model and I like the Bluetooth feature. When I'm driving, that's the most favorable thing about it.
The only negative I have with these hearing aids is there is a program you can put on your phone. It allows me to adjust the volume individually for the left or the hearing aid. That was what I really wanted but the phone just won't hold it. I checked comments and this seems to be a problem with a lot of people. Perhaps the problem is with my phone model, which is a Samsung. I tried the program on my iPad and the iPad will hold it. But I'm not gonna walk around with an iPad all the time.

My wife and I are on our fifth set of hearing aids--we have lots of experience. But this is our first set from Audicus. While our previous units were all satisfactory, these new "Spirit" aids from Audicus are significantly better. I can hear high fidelity music now that I haven't heard in twenty years. My wife is especially pleased with how much better she can hear and participate in conversations with a noisy background. The Bluetooth features are just outstanding. Using the Bluetooth TV connector we both get excellent audio sound quality directly into our ears so that we do not miss any words, even from old movies. And, coupling our cellphones directly to the hearing aids is such a luxury. We get crystal clear phone conversations all controlled with the push of a button. I have been a customer with Audicus for about 3 years and they have supported me from day one with professional prompt service. I have the Clara hearing aids and they have been terrific. I thought I needed an upgrade and ordered the Wave aids and at the same time I sent my Clara aids back in for a reprograming after a fresh hearing test. The New Wave hearing aids were great but after the reprograming I realized I did not need to replace my Clara aids quite yet. Audicus was very understanding and they gave me a refund in a timely manner and said they will always be here for my hearing needs. When the time comes to replace my Clara hearing aids I am positive I will be buying from Audicus again. Totally trustworthy company with awesome products.

Ordered the Wave hearing aids from Audicus. Because of a house fire I needed to get them fairly fast. I ordered them at 3pm on Thurs and had them by 5pm the next day. They could not have been nicer and more helpful. I told them they should write a book or make a video on customer service. They have also made follow up phone calls to make sure the aids were working good for me. I highly recommend them for anyone who needs hearing aids at a reasonable price.

I sent back the hearing aid because it has a hissing sound to it and they're going to try to correct that. But they've been more than accommodating. The people at customer service have all been very nice. I'm going to see if they can correct this. But if not, before my 45 days are up, I'll try the Clara, and see if that could be a little better for me. I deal with a person named Angela and she's wonderful.

I purchased a hearing aid in hopes of hearing. There was a 45 day trial, in which I thought was good so that I could try them and see how they work for me. They became a hassle with itching my ear, falling out, and not fitting correctly. It’s difficult with glasses and a hearing aid going behind your ear. I’ve called a couple of times trying to find a solution and didn’t. They wanted me to purchase other things for itching. I was disappointed when I called to return and they immediately tell me the 45 day trial was up and wanted me to take a picture with the hearing aid in my ear. I argued that 45 days was not up, that it would be the actual day that I’m speaking to them. They were friendly and tried to be helpful until I wanted to return them. Oh she told me it was the 46 day. They will not honor their policy. I advise DO NOT PURCHASE from Audicus Hearing, New York, NY.

I had my ears checked and sent in a copy of what the results were. They helped me along and answered all my questions. The Audicus hearing aids are a lot better than I ever had. I love the Audicus hearing aids. It doesn't have a longer wire that goes from the receiver to the speaker piece. I wish they have a slightly longer one because I seem to have big ears so they sit in a weird place. But Audicus was good. I set up a trial for some initial pair that I did not like very well. And they quickly got me into a different kind which I've been happy with. The gentleman that helped me through this whole process with numerous phone calls and checked in on me multiple times was amazing.

Costco offers a little bit better warranty on their products but their technical service and their technicians is pretty poor. With Audicus, the cost is a little bit higher but it’s been good with them. I was a little skeptical at first because everything's done online. I'm appreciate everything that having hearing aids have done for me, but it isn't the lifechanging experience I imagined. First, I have severe loss. Everything I am about to say should be read with that understanding. These may work much better for someone with mild to moderate loss. The covers that fit in the ear canal are difficult to fit on your own. Never having worn hearing aids- it took quite a while to figure out what the best fit was. I recognize in person fittings are part of what is lost by using Audicus. These work well in certain situations like one on one conversations or small groupings.
Anything involving music, a bassline, or crowded areas, just doesn't sound right and makes them almost feel useless. As a teacher, they definitely help in the classroom, but again I still can't hear well if all the kids are working- it's hard to distinguish those close to me and the background sound. The aids definitely allow me to hear much more than I would without. The support is probably the thing keeping me the most. They are super responsive and unlike the doctor's office, do not require appointments or long waits. I think if I was able to afford prescription hearing aids, I would switch without question. This, however, is a good in-between for now.

I've sent the Audicus Wave aids back for repair, twice. It's possible that the first time, I could have fixed the problem -- one of the aids would not charge at all -- by doing a hard reset, but whoever I spoke with at Audicus didn't give me that information. The second time, there was persistent and extremely annoying static in the right hearing aid. Also, one or the other of the aids did not charge properly, or at all, while on the charger overnight.
After the second return (I do not know if there were the same hearing aids I had at the beginning, or replacements), there has been no trouble charging them. Regarding static: persistent static returned on the Thursday of Holy Week this spring. Using my Bluetooth-connected phone, I found that changing the default program, "Automatic," to "Conversation in noise 1," made the static stop, for as long as I was on the CIN 1 setting. Sending them back for repair or adjustment (again) is not acceptable, since it forced me to be without any hearing aid at all for the week to week and a half it takes for Audicus to get them back to me.
However, the quality of the aids in a noisy room while on "Conversation in noise 1) is not satisfactory. I returned to work, in a busy retail environment, on May 21, and have found that I often have trouble understanding people with whom I am speaking. The Audicus Wave does not have an "Mumbled or rapid speech through a mask" as a setting. I am uncertain whether I will renew my Audicus Wave subscription beyond the first 18 months. I see that I am required to waive certain right (see below) to send Audicus this comment.

I contacted Audicus through their "chat" link online. I was told that they couldn't help me. I was given a method of contact again online. I did contact them. I still have a broken right hearing aid. The ear "plugs" don't fit either. They were very attentive when I was ordering. I had a problem earlier and sent both aids in to see if they could be adjusted to work better. They were sent back but I noticed no difference. At this time, I am using an old hearing aid in my right ear and the Audicus one in my left ear.

I received my HAs on 10/5/20. I returned them for reprogramming on 10/8/20, and the turn-around time was fast. The reprogramming was to my satisfaction. The HAs have been working flawlessly. I think that because I have them linked to my iPhone via Bluetooth, they go through batteries pretty quickly, probably every three days. Fortunately, I am on the Audicus subscription plan, so they send me batteries every three months as part of the plan. At some point I may consider switching to rechargeable HAs. So far the experience, 9 months in, has been all positive.

I originally was pleased with the hearing aids, but I don’t think they are working well now. I am not sure I would purchase them again. I did have a reprogramming scheduled, but didn’t get them in the mail. I thought they could reprogram them remotely. The people that I talked to have been very nice to deal with, just not sure I love the product.

I like the hearing airds. But at one point, I started getting a lot of static in my last hearing aid, so I sent them back. Audicus just cleaned them and said that was a little speck of earwax, which I didn't fall for. I kept telling the reps what was wrong with it, but they kept reading the same thing off the card. I've had hearing aids many times. I know what can affect them and such. And I didn’t go for it.
I finally convinced them to send them back, but when they came back and it still had the noise, I was disappointed. But later, the fella called back to see how they were doing. And he said if it wasn't working, he got an okay from his supervisor to just swap it out with a new one. But I kept wearing it for a couple of days, and then the static went away and it hasn't been back since. The quality is lifelike. I've had four sets of hearing aids. I had one pair that was completely in the ear a long time ago, and they were $8,000 ones. I loved them, but I lost one. So, I was out. I've tried a couple of less expensive ones and they haven't come to my expectations. But these are working really well. I enjoy them.

The reps at Audicus contacted me several times and they took care of everything. I've had hearing aids for quite a few years now and I just wanted one that we felt would be good without spending $7,000. And this was what we decided on. The quality is very good.

I interacted with an Audicus the hearing specialist and my experience went smoothly. I'm still trying to get used to my hearing aids. I don't wear them a lot because I'm not around a whole lot of people. Sometimes, they're okay when I use them. I'm new to this and Audicus is geared more towards people that already have them. On the whole, I'd tell others to take a look at the company.

The product is a decent one, it helps hearing but not to the degree of the more expensive ones. It does a better job at the price point than anything else I've tried, which is in its own category of rental as all the others are purchase only. Insurance doesn't help unfortunately, and I had it available to spend. The customer service department, the sales department, and the shipping department did a poor job of coordinating, and it took forever to actually get the product--and the sales person could not be reached any longer. It's far from perfect, but still decent.

After order no one called or emailed about anything. On original order I was promised extra ear parts because I have excess wax. Never got them or was called to ask if they worked well. Would have liked better customer service.

Excellent hearing aid technology. Easy to use and are effective is resolving hearing loss issues. I particularly like the ability to make adjustments via Bluetooth devices, and I look forward to further improvements in that area.

My experience with Audicus is positive because my hearing aid is still working and as long as it keeps working, I'm happy. Also, they have a salesgirl there, Tiffany, and if I had her working for my business, I would give her a bonus. She is like a pitbull - she doesn't stop until she makes that sale.
