I had the absolute worst experience with Rooms to Go. I order my couch April 26, to be delivered May 27th. An entire month later, but they said that was the soonest they could schedule me. Took May 27th off from work to be here for the delivery. I get a call from a confused truck driver b/c they tried to deliver my couch to a golf course in VIRGINIA! I live in Georgia, I have never lived in Virginia, and I know my address. Despite this Rooms to Go tried to pass blame for their mistake to me. I received a new delivery date of June 18th between 7am and 11 am. I am still on hold, but I will not be getting my couch today because there was an additional tax to ship the couch to the correct address, $21. They claimed to have notified me, but I never received those notifications, only the one that said my couch would be here TODAY. They have offered me no compensation for the now 3 days of work I have taken off to be here for the delivery of my couch.
I got rid of my furniture in May expecting a new sectional, so I have been without furniture for 2+ months. I am hosting Father's Day this coming Sunday and I will have no furniture for my family. I have spend more time on hold with them because nobody is "able" to offer any compensation. I am absolutely livid with this whole experience and will not be getting furniture from them again.

My big mistake go to Rooms to Go at International Mall, Miami. The salesman, very unprofessional and very disrespecful person instead of been a nice seller, he was only reminding me during the showroom walk-through that the store going to close. Finally I found a nice salesman that he wanted me what I want. The original salesman came to me again, because he was the person that received me when I get to the store. I refuse to get his help, because he did not help me at all.
He was talking to me in an aggressive tone, and in that moment I asked for the manager. When the manager came, I started to tell him what had happened with the salesman. Conclusion, the manager was even more rude, practically kicking me out of the store, telling me that the store was close. That manager is a shame for the company and does not have the capacity to work with clients. Eventually he and his salesman contribute to the deterioration and failure of a good American company. The manager name is Manuel **. Rooms To Go must take action and keep people like Manuel ** out of your company.

I realized that the ottoman I purchased was not the right size for my living room. I asked if I could return it. They said not returns at all! I could exchange it, but when I went around the store I could not find anything I liked. They have a separate area where they have patio furniture, I asked if I could exchange for patio furniture and I was told no. I ended up with an huge ottoman that does not fit my living room. The salesman was so interested in selling the furniture but when it was time for me to exchange the ottoman he never came by to help did not even think that I could be interested in buying more furniture. I just had a horrible experience.

I purchased a loveseat, ottoman and chair last February 2020 ... in March about 3 weeks later the furniture looked as if it was 5 years old.... (it’s just myself in my home). The company agreed to replace the items after they noticed the wear and tear of the new furniture from their investigation. I was transferred back and forth from customer care to the store when I asked about the replaced ottoman. Later I received a text from the salesman I had to come back to the store and pay another $100 over the $1996.00 paid in February. This store could use a class in excellent customer service and follow up with customers when concerns are made.

My sectional is about 5 years old. It is literally disintegrating. I am the only one who uses it. Even the fold down headrests, that are never touched, are peeling. It started about 2 years ago. I should have notified Rooms To Go, but while I was shopping and hearing the crap they were giving one of their customers that was complaining, I knew it would not end well. That should have been my clue.

RTG return policy says "Items purchased online are permitted within 48 hours of delivery." I bought and received cocktail and end table 20 days before my sectional (all from RTG) arrived. Once the sectional was in place I opened the end table to find that it did not accent well- at all. I want to return both the end and cocktail table. RTG internet sales rep refused to acknowledge my situation, and like a robot, continued to repeat the 48 hours policy. I am not asking RTG to ignore their policy, but rather listen to my situation and see if there is a way to help. Helping, or figuring out a solution to a purchase gone wrong is Good Customer Service and what every shopper deserves.

I bought a dinner table that, when delivered, I saw many wormholes that looked awful. For the price I paid I was expecting a grade A table saw. I requested a replacement but when the new table came it was the same thing but this time even worse (bigger) wormholes. I have to say that this company is consistent sending absolutely third grade furniture. Shame on them. I’ll never be back and do not recommend visiting them.

We orders furniture in one state for the order to be flipped to another state. After checking 5 days later to make sure it was flipped I was told everything was in stock and the first available date to deliver was the 12th (Friday). The Tuesday of that week I got a text confirming my delivery for the 16th which I was never told. And when I called customer service conveniently 1 piece of the set was out of stock and gets there magically on the 16th. If someone had called and said something I could have planned around it but not saying anything and just making us deal with it I have a problem with. I will never buy from them again because if you're gonna tell me one thing and do another I don't have time for that.

The first store in Sarasota blamed it on their computers and couldn't take our money but the salesman didn't even attempt to write up the order. Then we went to Clearwater and wrote up the sale. We explained we live in a condo. At delivery we were told 7:00 A.M. to 11 it would be delivered. We explained the condo rules do allow work or deliveries before 9:00 so they cancelled our delivery. We were told June 12, 2020 but on June 2nd we were told the first available wasn't until the 17th or the 19th and by that time we would be gone and have left Florida. I said, "If you can not keep your word and deliver it when we are still in the state on the 12th we'll have to cancel the order."
So, they just cancelled the order. Just like that. Not one second of delay. No "let me see what we can do for you." Nothing. They could care less about the customer being happy or satisfied. I can't not believe they stay in business. We spent so much time before and during the buying process and now have to start the process all over again. Do yourself a FAVOR. Do not go to Rooms To Go. Save yourself the time and aggravation.

The most horrible experience I have ever had with a furniture store. Rooms to Go is a run, don't walk away as fast as you can. I purchased a leather sofa on 2/10/19 and it was delivered on 2/14/19. Right at 11 months the leather started peeling and coming apart from the fabric underneath. A leather sofa should never peel and come apart the way this one has in 2-3 years, much less 1 year. It was clearly defective.
I went to the Rooms to Go where I purchased the sofa and they said, "Oh, no problem. Just file a claim with Fortegra, they will take care of it." That was a joke, they immediately denied the claim and referred me to the Rooms to Go customer service. But this time it had passed the 1 year date. To say the least I was furious about the run around. I contacted the "customer service" (biting my tongue) and they promptly said the sofa was not covered under their warranty because I purchased it in 2018....which was not the truth, I doubt they even looked it up.

The quality of the 2 sofas I had the opportunity to use are not what I expected. They do whatever they want and nobody really cares for the client! They just want you to buy and then you’re on your own! My purchase was made through internet (internet sales). So in my experience there has to be something better!

Run Away from RTG. On 3/29/20 I purchased three rooms of children's furniture and a sectional from Rooms To Go in Wesley Chapel, FL; I worked with Sandra ** and Susan **, respectively. During the purchase I was assured and sold on the value of the "White Glove" delivery and installation I would receive of the merchandise purchased. I asked numerous times if the drivers would have and wear PPE and was told they "absolutely" would. The delivery cost for the children's furniture was $279.97 and the delivery for the sectional was $99.99; the overall purchase was pleasant.
On 4/11/2020 delivery drivers arrived at my home at 12:30PM and subsequently left at 3:30PM; the delivery was anything but "White Glove." They arrived wearing masks and gloves; upon entering my home the leader installer took off his mask. When asked where his shoe covers were he stated he did not have any. Rooms to Go's Site states: "Delivery crews have been asked to use disposable gloves, FOOTWEAR COVERS, hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes for each delivery."
We asked them to remove their shoes since they did not have proper protection which they refused. Our ask of them to wear PPE really seemed to bother the delivery team because from then on they banged every wall up the stairs with the furniture leaving it and my home damaged; my home is new construction. I was told upon their departure that someone would contact me regarding repairs and replacement of the furniture; no one ever called.
On 4/14 I called customer support; I initially spoke with Rebecca **. She informed me that the records of damage had indeed been notated onto my account and subsequently offered a $25.00 credit for all that I had experienced. Rooms To Go admittingly KNEW about the damage and after 3 DAYS had done Nothing to address it: I asked for senior leadership. I was transferred Ashley **; that is the interaction that was most upsetting.
Ashley seemed annoyed to speak with me, her tone lacked concern, empathy or basic professionalism. I asked for refund of the delivery fees on damaged furniture only and replacement of the furniture. She told me that the drivers were not required to wear PPE, specifically not shoe coverings. Further, she stated my resolution choices were $100.00 because "No one (was) ever going to give me the delivery fee back or (I) could have the furniture picked up and still not get the delivery fee back."
I went to Social Media with my concerns and was flooded with responses citing similar poor delivery and customer care experiences. I reached out to Corporate and was contacted by Nannette **, Presidential Assistant who confirmed that RTG is NOT mandating ANY PPE during the pandemic but merely suggesting it to its delivery teams. (See below)
"Dear Mrs. Cruz, Our office understands your views and concerns. It is correct that the delivery companies are asked to have their drivers wear protective coverings if they are to go into the customer's home. However, it is not a mandate. In addition, please understand that the delivery company would not allow their drivers to take off their shoes under any circumstances as it would be considered a safety hazard. Under the global situation we find ourselves in today, the consumer has every right to deny entry or refuse delivery in order to reschedule for another time should they deem it necessary."
To date, I have not received the credit amount requested and the furniture remains damaged. I paid to have the repairs made to my new home and although having offered receipts was told I would not receive compensation for the damages since they were already fixed. How is Rooms To Go able to do business this way!?

We purchased a "leather" loveseat Sept 2018 along with the "extended warranty". In April 2020 I noticed an area in one small section of a sewed seam starting to break down, meaning the "leather" is starting to chip away. On May 7, 2020 I called Rooms To Go to discuss this problem and the warranty of this product. I was transferred to Fortegra (extended warranty company) and was told this problem is NOT covered under either warranty (Rooms To Go or Fortegra). I can understand if this were 5+ years old but this couch is ONLY 1 year and 7 months in my possession! These companies should have worked together to replace at minimum this part of the loveseat, which can be removed because of how it was built.

We placed our order through the Rooms to Go website and received an email confirmation. I have this communication as proof that there was no mention of UPS making the delivery, nor was a tracking number or link given that might indicate a company other than Rooms to Go was involved with delivery. In fact, it reads the item will be "shipped directly from vendor."
Since this is Rooms to Go--why would anyone assume differently? When we discovered the daybed had been left outside for 3-days in inclement weather (we were working/staying an hours drive away from home and expecting a call regarding delivery) we contacted customer service and were told that Rooms to Go does not need to provide a tracking number or link to UPS. Nor do they need to inform customers that UPS is making the delivery. Unlike every other company in America, they do not feel the need to do this... but they, nevertheless, blamed UPS.

Purchased a Kingvale set about 4 years ago. I believe it was the most expensive set in the store at the time. Like many snow birds we only use our furniture 3 to 4 months a year which equates to about one year's use. Either the dye or the material is now coming off. Called Rooms to Go and talked to a customer service manager named Justin who informed me the furniture was out of warranty and Rooms to Go was not willing to do anything for us. This doesn't match the sales pitch about the new durable covering on the furniture and it's longevity when we made the purchase. We have purchased many pieces from Rooms to Go but will no more. I suggest you take a long hard look at the products and how the company stands behind them before you buy.

About one month ago I purchased a Nursery bedroom set for my new granddaughter. The set was delivered yesterday with a few pieces missing. The most disturbing part of this ordeal is the delivery personnel decided to take the packaged furniture in the box and not assemble the furniture. They took the boxed furniture off their truck and left the furniture unassembled in the baby's room. When I purchased this furniture the salesperson took about less than ten minutes to tell me he would charge me more than $350.00 for assembly and delivery. When I called customer service to explain their mistake, they told me in a very cavalier manner that it would take about ten weeks for them to return to the home and try to unbox and assemble the furniture.
The salesperson in Jacksonville told me there was nothing they could do and I needed to keep calling customer service to find a resolution. Amazing how quickly they took my money but blatantly refuse to provide me with service after the sale. Unacceptable, unprofessional and ridiculous. After spending more than forty-two hundred dollars with a company you would think I could get treated with a little dignity and respect. We live in a very litigious society today because a person's word and a firm handshake has no more credibility than the split between a snake's tongue. This is a good example of the maliciously unfortunate status of business today. At this juncture of this process I can only be patient and wait to see if I am to be victimized again.

This resulted in another month wait for a technician to come. That has been further delayed due to the coronavirus.
Meanwhile, when I called about the bunkie board my salesperson never returned my call. I then talked to a manager who said he could do nothing until he talked to the salesperson. I waited a day and never got a call. I called again, three times, requesting the salesperson call. He apparently was never available when I called, likely story. Update: Per the manager Triston - the drivers are allowed to take back furniture if customer refuses, although that does not explain why they refused. You also only have 48 hours from PURCHASE not DELIVERY 1 month later for refund, even if they give you the wrong item. You are stuck until they make right which could be months later. Unfortunately when it came to putting the table and chairs together one of the installers told the other one that the table had a huge scratch on the top. He then told the other guy. Well too late. It's on already and then grabbed a marker and started to color scratch in thinking we were not going to notice!!! ALL ON CAMERA. I ended up calling rooms to go. They stated they will come on the following Saturday to deliver new table top and end chairs due to me not seeing what was actually included. Never showed up Saturday. They stated I was not on the schedule. Had to reschedule a birthday party I was going to have because I did mot want they to see my table top...
The next delivery came and guess what a HUGE noticeable scratch on the side of the tabletop and my end chairs are missing wood on the handles not to mention black marker stains everywhere.. They are supposed to come next week they stated they will make sure people at there warehouse will all triple check the products before being delivered. Hoping all will be well or ROOMS TO GO will be taking their items back!

July 20, 2019 We purchased new furniture for our kids they earned the opportunity to pick out. One of the pieces was not available so RTG substituted a piece temporarily that they said would be exchanged when the correct piece became available. Great. Everything was perfect in my kids world. We followed up with RTG 9/5/19 Clarissa and Scott at the Kennesaw Ga store and the product was still on back order and expected in October. Followed up again in October and it would be the third week of January. We followed up January 31 and RTG informed us someone at RTG had canceled the order for the piece of furniture, yet RTG did did not bother to notify us. They did give us the option of a return for credit but not an option after our child picked out everything they really wanted for their new room.
The store managers on Barrett Parkway in Kennesaw Ga Dave ** was not any help in resolving the issue on January 29th. I called customer service at the corporate office and requested to leave a message with an area manager for a return call to discuss. The customer care person was great on the phone but was not able to help reach an equitable solution. Overall not happy with the lack of concern and care for the customer. At this point and time we are cutting our losses and We will never buy from RTG again.

Moved to SC and bought almost ten thousand dollars worth of furniture at Rooms to Go in August 2019. Sat on couch about three weeks ago and heard the crack as the frame broke. Called the store. They told us to call insurance. Insurance said to call store because it was under 6 months. Store said they would send someone out- that took 1 1/2 weeks. Person turned over the couch, took off the felt, took pictures and confirmed that the frame was broken. Person said the store would get back to us which took another 10 days or so. Store said they would not take the broken couch back until we drove back to GA and picked out new couch. We are seniors in our 70's, moving down the street in our SC community to a home we are buying on 2/13. We asked the store manager to please pick up the broken couch since we are in the midst of packing and would come down after the 14th to look for another couch along with other things we need.
NOPE, we need to pay for picking up the broken couch and the bill will not be adjusted. The policy is we have to go to GA and pick out another couch. Also, they will not deliver to our new home down the street but only to the store we had all the other things delivered to. We cannot sit on the couch. It is sound and we don't want to break a hip or get hurt so we are stuck with a defective couch and a store, Rooms to Go that we are paying monthly for all the furniture we bought.

Many calls and emails later extended warranty company and rooms to go refuse to rectify issue since repair was not up to standards. I find it repulsive that we had to pay additional monies and were inconvenienced because Rooms To Go has inferior product. I will never set foot in that store again.

After 4 1/2 years the fabric is coming off. RTG will only give me half store credit for both sofas. I refused this offer because I will not be burned a third time with poor quality living room furniture. Sofas should last more than 4 1/2 years. Customer service at RTG said that they did not have to offer me anything because the warranty was only for one year. If I could give zero stars for the living room furniture at RTG I would. Please don’t waste your money shopping at Rooms To Go unless you want furniture that doesn’t even last 5 years.

The item was delivered about three weeks later then my other order. It was left in a box at my door. When I called customer service I was told that some items come unassembled. When I requested to return the item I was told by both customer service and the show room that they do not except returns on orders that they sell from other vendors. That is an unacceptable policy. I purchased a 3 seat couch with a chaise lounger on Nov 20, 2019 in Greenville, SC. William, my sales person was awesome. In Dec I switched my lounger to the other end of the couch and soon realized that something was wrong. Cushion just did not fit right and was very uncomfortable to sit there. On Dec. 20, 2019 I spoke to C/S and she suggested due to Jan 23, 2020 being the next time a Technician would be in my area, that she order a new cushion. So she did. I called in 5 business days, as directed to get a tracking # for the new cushion.
It is now 1 month since the order and after numerous calls to C/S where no one followed through, or called me back as promised. I called today and the C/S person said I should have been told from beginning: No tracking # the first week, it would be 90 days to get a replacement, as vendor is overseas. I said, "This is the week the Tech is in my area, can you get him here?" She said, "No, he is booked. I can make an appointment for you for February 27th. Can I help you with anything else today?" I relayed my dissatisfaction with C/S for over a month and no desire to help or make an effort to resolve this problem. I couldn't even get to talk to a Supervisor. I asked about the Complaint I filed on Jan. 15th and she said it's in the file. I am so fed up, stressed and will never refer anyone to RTG. It is not worth it.

We bought our couch which was a $3000 investment about a year and a half ago. After about a year the cushions broke down and now are extremely uncomfortable. We called the Rooms to Go customer care which sent us over to the warranty department as we had purchased the extended warranty plan since it was a $3000 couch. They sent a tech over to “fluff” our cushions which I had done many times and rotate the ones I could.
We called today to find out that the tech “pillow fluffer” closed out the claim as fixed and we never heard back after the tech told us to request a claim for a comparable Couch as if we get the cushions replaced. They will do the same exact thing within the year. When we spoke with rooms to go customer service they told us that our cushions weren’t covered under the warranty only tears and if we accidentally cut our cushions. Now we’re stuck with a $3000 couch that the cushions have lost their support and the investment in the extended warranty doesn’t cover it. I wouldn’t recommend buying this couch nor dealing with rooms to go customer service or heading your money over to them as they don’t take care of their customers.

WARNING. Before I get to fabric and seat cushion foam, let me warn others. This is based on two sofas, one a regular style couch and the other a 2 piece sectional. You owe it to yourself to really think about how often the couch will be used and how important comfort is to you, before you buy! If you want a sofa you can "plop down on" to watch tv or read or sleep on, you will be greatly disappointed. I feel the design of the wood frame under the seat cushions could very easily cause injury. The wood frames of the sofa I bought and the sectional my daughter bought aren't designed for comfort other than for sitting upright.
The seating expanse of the couch has board supports which run front to back and are spaced every 18-24" or so. These boards are only covered by a thin muslin look fabric. The only padding over the boards is the sofa seat cushions themselves. If the sofa gets a lot of use, the foam in the cushions will soon lose its plumpness. That took about a year for me, a single senior. The more the cushions are used for even ordinary everyday use, the cushions seem to thin out making the seat boards all the more easily felt. If someone did not know about the unpadded seat boards and "plopped down" hitting one, they could be bruised or worse, injure a tailbone, hip or rib. So, THINK about the frame design before purchasing any sofa from any place.
My couch is a ribbed chenille fabric and the back padding is affixed to the back of a wood frame. It seems fabrics are cut short for the areas they are supposed to cover, so naturally I thought it was that which caused the fabric to create a hole in my sofa. The pillow foam started to come out in bunches. I assumed it was caused by stress on the fabric from use by pulling the threads away from the upholstery staples. I thought the mystery of the hole was that, until I lifted the cushions to vacuum and smack dab in the middle of the thin seat fabric was a 2-1/2" circle shaped hole! How does something like that happen? Weevils? EW.
I did buy a warranty with my sofa, but when I pulled it out to make a complaint, I REALLY read it like I should have in the first place. "Exclusions," insect damage not covered! I never saw bugs, but I sprayed for my own peace of mind. Perhaps the fabric was merely threadbare in spots and wore a hole in the fabric merely from friction from the cushions rubbing over it wearing it away. I just don't know for sure. I should have raised hell about all of these problems, but I did not. RTG needs to work harder at frame design and quality of materials used. RTG items are not inexpensive, so they really should strive for quality. They do well, because they have lovely designs and that keeps customers coming in the doors. Most of all, I wanted to warn others about the boards. It is that which prompted me to leave feedback.

We are VERY disappointed in the service we are receiving from Rooms to Go Kids! We paid $2000 for a set of bunk beds for my daughters and were so excited to have it delivered. On January 8th, our delivery was scheduled between 2 and 6 pm and they didn’t show up until almost 8 pm. We understand things happen. The delivery men were friendly and very apologetic for the late time. When they got the pieces off the truck, two of them were broken. One was cosmetic, the other was structural. They said it could not be set up because it would not be safe because the desk held the weight of one side of the bed. They left and left all the pieces of furniture in the room making the room unusable for our girls.
We got a call from dispatch saying they wanted to confirm we denied set up. I said “no the delivery drivers said they could not set up because the desk was cracked and compromised the structural integrity of the bed”. She said, "Oh ok. I’ll change that in the system." They set up a new delivery for today (Jan 17) and upon arrival, the stairs were cracked. We had to order another set of stairs and the men left without giving the option of setting the beds up with the cosmetically damaged steps from the last delivery and the new desk. We called customer service to ask them to come back to set up the beds and were met with a pretty awful representative! I was admittedly upset and raised my voice but she told us they refused to come back because both times we had “refused” set up and the beds could’ve been set up and were completely safe for my daughters to sleep in.
This was certainly not the case on January 8 and while I agree they could’ve been set up today, this was not an option the delivery men gave us. When I asked to speak to a manager, she said, “I have a supervisor but I take all complaints”. She may take them but she certainly didn’t do anything about them. I also told her I felt like R2G needed to evaluate their quality control of pieces and she said well they were probably damaged on the truck. Then I said, well then the system on the truck needs to be evaluated because they have a 100% error rate with us. She said “well things can happen on the truck”. While I understand this, clearly if furniture is continually showing up broken, there is a problem somewhere in their system!
I decided since customer service was awful, I would call the store where we bought the furniture from. I spoke with a very nice lady who is currently trying her best to get with dispatch to send the truck back out here to set the beds up using the old steps. Thankful that at least someone at the company seems to care about the customer. Meanwhile, customer service calls back to say they can’t deliver the new stairs again until next Tuesday. Yet one more day I’m missing work for what will probably be another broken piece of furniture. So disappointed in our experience. We had ordered a bed for our son to be delivered the end of January but have already cancelled That order. We will NEVER order from Rooms To Go again and I caution anyone considering it!

I lifted the mattress and realized the wood planks were broken. I called the store and they sent out a technician. When he arrived the first thing he asked was, "Why didn’t you purchase a box spring?" I told him I was not aware we needed one. Anyways... he replaced the wood planks with 3 metal rods and told me that I still needed to purchase a bunkie board. I called the store again and was told I could purchase the board for $59.

We bought furniture over there in the past month and just got delivery today and everything was wrong with the order we thought we placed. Even asking a Latin SALESMAN, so they do not think we misunderstood, because of the Language, the Latin SALESMAN wrote in wrong and we did not get all the 3 seats electronic, regardless if they charged for it or not, because that is what we ordered.
Also got the wrong Lamp my wife selected, but my wife did not realized until they left, although the sub company delivering SAID we have 48 hrs to check the order for damage or mistakes, but the Manager at the Store in New Port Riche said that because we did not tell him over the phone before we went to the Store, he thinks we are trying to take advantage of them.
My wife did not realized until after I hang up and did call a little before the DELIVERY people left. We also discover when we went to the Store today after the DELIVERY, that the bench we bought for the room, did not have the same EXTENDED warranty we bought for every item. SALESMAN again committed Strike 3 and he is supposed to be their best salesman. He was polite and nice, but 3 mistakes! Since he Latin, I will not disclose his name, but he dissapointed us and the Manager Rather defend their workers, regardless if we all human and can make mistakes, but the clients are supposed to be first and that is not the case at this Store or with this "Manager" (the GM of the Store).
On top of that, the Manager want to charge us for the Upgrade of the chair ($200), only swap the Lamp, but not take it off of the bill or if so, give us only $50 of credit, when it was $90 plus DELIVERY. They would not add the warranty of the bench now (even though the SALESMAN forgot), be caused it was already deliver. Why customer has to pay for their SALESMAN mistakes, charged him or take it as a loss for the Income tax.
At the end only gave us a $100 credit for the chair Upgrade with no delivery charge and only a swap on the Lamp, when Corporate Customer Service told me today when they call me to see how DELIVERY went, that they will give me full credit for that Lamp and I do not know what else, beside take care of that Manager. This is a Manager want to be that do not care about his customers, that are the one that pay their salaries and commissions and I am a Manager by Degree!. Apparently the "Manager" at this Store, think he has more Balls that the Corporate Office Customer Service personnel, that are in charge of customer satisfaction. Amazing Corporation! They all Suck! Oh, I forgot, apparently they do not know what cursing definition is and as a former Armed Forces Soldier, have not begun to Curse, yet. Tell them to look in Google! Do not buy at this Store, since they do not care about Seniors, Veterans and customers in General.
Supposedly according to DELIVERY sub company, we got two days to review for any damage or discrepancies and even after Reporting the wrong DELIVERY of one NON electronic chair and wrong Lamp, they were willing to change the chair, but I had it to pay the difference, even though it was there mistake on the order, since from the beginning the SALESMAN was instructed to order same furniture in showroom. The lamp was not the one selected by my wife, even though my wife did not want it, but they say it was part of the package and they refused to substrates from the purchased because we received it at home and did not noticed until after I talk to manager and went there, same DELIVERY day, unless they pay back half of the cost only and not even the DELIVERY charge, even though was there mistake on wrong Lamp. We also purchased the warranty and we told by the salesperson that if there was an issue it could be returned. We contacted the customer service department to explain the issue with the fabric on the furniture and asked that they send someone to look at it. They finally did send someone after calling them 3 times. The customer service rep that came by said they had received other complaints about this particular fabric and that after he submitted his report with pics, there would be some type of restitution.
We called the customer service department after a week went by and they said there was nothing they could or would do to remedy the situation. I told them that they should stand by the products they sell and that we had purchased many items from them in the past. They didn’t care and would not do anything for us. Imperial will NEVER buy anything from them again. No furniture should ever wear as quickly as this did. The customer service should do their job as well. They should treat their customers better than their suppliers. Their conduct has been Unacceptable and very disappointing. I DON’T RECOMMEND SHOPPING AT ROOMS TO GO! Disgusted with RTG, S. ** S**

I am totally disappointed with Rooms to Go delivery service and in general their customer service. I bought a dining table worth $ 1500 from RTG during Thanksgiving. The only reason I bought it right away was because, they said it will be delivered on December 4, 2019. They delivered a defective piece on Dec 4 and told me that they have to reschedule delivery after a week on December 12. I waited at home for the entire day. In the evening they told me that the truck broke down but it will be delivered late. I was waiting until 10 pm. At that time, they called me to tell that it will be delivered the next day. So, I was at home again the entire day on Friday Dec 13. Again, they call in the evening to tell me that the driver didn't have that piece on the truck and hence will be rescheduled to Wednesday Dec 18 between 1-5.
I was again home on Dec 18. At 2:15, I get a txt message from RTG that the delivery will happen after 1.5 hours. So, I go to the shower. Within 5 mins, the driver calls me and I didn't answer the phone. When I am back I see the message and call their service. They told me that because I didn't answer the phone the driver had to reschedule again!!!! Seriously? Not answering phone, that too because, I receive a text message prior to it about 1.5 hours away, makes him assume that I am not at home? And I have wasted 4 days staying home, just because they didn't deliver. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED. BUYER BEWARE. If you are counting on timely delivery, Please DO NOT.

We were promised delivery for (( Christmas of 2019 )) by the salesman. We went ahead and donated our old livingroom set. We were told to come back on the 16th of December to apply our $200.00 certificate to our balance. When we returned to (rooms to go) again we met with ** the floor manager as he said ** was off but there is a problem with our delivery date now!!! We should get these sometimes in January 2020!!!
We are very disappointed by Rooms to Go for their unprofessional handling our purchase as we requested to be compensated for our troubles and time we were laughed at... so we cancelled our purchase. We DO NOT recommend the Rooms To Go location in Alafaya/434 Waterford location to anyone. We also investigated further into actual quality of the furniture is made with leather on top and polyester leather (fake leather) every other parts. Shame on you for lying to us and other customers (by reading other reviews you will see their complaints).
Please STOP this deceptive sales practice!!! Here's hoping for the best and doing my part in discouraging anyone who I know or don't know that will LISTEN when I say "DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ROOMS TO GO." They will not honor their mistake. They will not reprimand their employees who caused the issue. I paid almost $1000.00 for a dining set and $150.00 for delivery and set up. They came almost three weeks later, brought in a giant glass tabletop, four upholstered chairs and metal for the bottom assembly. Placed everything in the middle of my home blocking the entrance to the back of my home (bathrooms and bedrooms), kitchen and entry door. Glass was propped up against the door. Told MY DAUGHTER they forgot the hardware and drove off. Did not tell me, did not ask if they could leave it, did not rearrange so we could safely access our home and I had to call customer service to inquire as to what was happening, why my table was left in the middle of my home unassembled and if they were coming back.
I was told they “forgot” the hardware and had to ORDER it for me. It would take 5-7 days for hardware delivery and then I would have to set up an appointment to have them come back to assemble my table! I said that was unacceptable and that everything was left without my permission blocking access to half my home and to the outside (they left through an alternate door that I can not lock from the outside) with three children and two pets. They said they would have them return and take it away to make it safe for my family and come back the next day with the parts and a new table (the parts they said would take 5-7 days to get that they “forgot”) but have not returned any calls. No one has come. We are now being told it will be a week before they get someone out here!!! I’m so angry. I have spoken with two managers, three agents and no safety or progress. I bought two lounge chairs and a beautiful tan sectional sofa five years ago from RTG. The so-called leather chairs started cracking and inside stuffing was showing after six months. RTG was good about replacing the chairs and they are still good. The sectional couch just started cracking really bad about a month ago. Now we have no children, rarely any company and we sit in the kitchen most of the time. This sectional is in a living room that is rarely used. I called RTG and sent pictures of the deterioration and They offered to give me a $250 discount on new furniture. However I turned it down not wanting to have to replace it every five years. I am a U.S. Veteran who recently bought furniture from the Stafford location about month before it was supposed to be delivered to my apartment in Katy TX. The delivery was scheduled for 29 NOV 19 which was the date I was supposed to move in. I received a text that the furniture would be on its way and deliver was between 11-3 PM. At 1:00 PM I received a call from the Rooms to Go shipping personnel and was told that the truck carrying my furniture had broken down. I can tell you this was a lie because the company they use to transport their furniture, I have a friend who works for that company and he state: "There was nothing wrong with our truck. They overbooked and they did not have enough people working to make the delivery."
I contacted customer service and I told them I wanted to cancel my order and they transferred me to the Stafford location to speak to the manager about canceling the order. I was placed on the phone with Jay who is the Assistant Manager of the Stafford location and let him know I wanted to cancel. He asked for some time to find out what happen and he would call me back. He called me 30 to 40 minutes later and he said that my furniture will be at my apartment on 30 NOV 19. He stated it would be early in the morning and I was #3 on the drop off list. That was a lie because when I checked I was #10. He was willing to lie to me to save the sale.
The 30th came and the Rooms to Go delivery truck pulls up to my apartment. The representative said he had a sofa to drop off. I asked him where was my bed, bedroom set, and dinner table with chairs? He said that is all they had to deliver. I accepted the couch because I needed something to sleep on and contacted Stafford Rooms to Go extremely pissed.
I told the person I do not want to speak to Jay because he is a liar and I wanted to speak to someone above him. That person was the GM Judy. I told her my situation and let her know that Jay lied to me. She immediately took to his defense without know the entire situation. She said she would find out what happen and call me back.
Judy never call me back and I received a call from Rooms to Go customer support. They stated that they are sorry for the inconvenience. That they would waive the shipping cost which she said was $60 dollars. I told her there is no way the shipping cost was $60 dollars and she said she would look into and make sure I get full credit for delivery. She said the furniture would be there Monday.
Sunday I received a call from Jay to let me know that the furniture was damaged on the truck and would not be delivered until Wednesday. I lost it and told him to cancel my order and I Rooms to Go will not earn a single penny more from me. He said, "Let me see what I can do," so I call USAA and told them the situation and I asked them to dispute the charge. An hour later the sales person called me and apologized to me and asked if I could give her one more chance and I told her I do not want to deal with liars. The Managers of Stafford knowing everything I had gone through, had the sales person call me to save the sale.
This by far has been to worst experience I have ever had. They ruined my plans with my kids who I get to see every other weekend. I had to sleep in an empty apartment and their only concern was saving the sale. For future buyers, think twice and know that if their truck "has a flat or has broken down" it is all lies. They overbook and you cannot tell me a company as big as Rooms to Go cannot get another truck and get their customers their furniture is ridiculous. Definitely stay away from the Stafford location if you want to try your luck.

It took almost a month to get the bedroom furniture all the same color. The driver never let the company know about the damaged bookshelf.
When I called to ask why it wasn't delivered with the last delivery, almost 2 months after we had placed the original order, they said the driver had not mentioned it and so they would need to send someone to inspect it to verify that the damage was caused during transit. In other words they didn't trust me. Well, the guy comes and verifies that the damage was done during transit and the FINAL delivery was supposed to be made today by 4:00 p.m.. Rooms to Go. We purchased $7000 in Furniture from the Sarasota, Fl location in April. Upon purchasing we specifically asked about the longevity of the furniture especially the cushion cores as we didn’t want to have anything that would break down prematurely. For example loose fabric on cushions caused by cushion cores that would break down. The salesman gave us a whole spiel about how the ‘Cindy Crawford furniture is a double core for the cushion and it’s really great furniture. He went on to tell us how all of the furniture in the show room has been in the show room for years and it constantly gets used by people trying it and look how great it still looks.’ Basically he gased us to make a sale.
Now months after having the sets of furniture the cushion cores are completely broke down and look terrible. They look like they are several years old. As well as our swivel chair sags to one side if anyone sits in it. My husband and I both have our own businesses so we are very busy, therefore the furniture only get to used for a few hours in the evening. I contacted the Sarasota location they directed me to speak to customer service, customer service sent out a repair specialist who told me she couldn’t do anything for any of the issues that we’re having and that it’s just normal wear on the furniture. I don’t find it acceptable that furniture should look as poor as this does after only owning it for a few months.
I then contacted customer service again. They sent out replacement furniture, but once the replacement furniture got to me it was damaged before even got in my door. As well as they sent me an ottoman that wasn’t even the right ottoman. I then contacted the Sarasota store once again where I requested to speak with a manager. The woman Lisa that I spoke with told me that she would have a store manager named Brian ** contact me back within an hour.
That was a Friday morning. It is now Tuesday afternoon and I have yet to receive any call back whatsoever from a manager within the Sarasota store. Therefore, I called the Sarasota location again and told them that Brian ** the manager was supposed to call me back and never did and I was told ‘well you don’t have an order with us.’ I can’t believe how unprofessional they are. They can’t even have the decency to contact an unhappy customer back who spent a significant portion of money within their store.
The quality of furniture is very poor and it’s not inexpensive furniture by any means. I then had to call back once again to customer service Where I spoke with a manager named Justin **, who didn’t seem to have the time of day to listen to the situation and cut me off. He then proceeded to ask what I would like him to do for me. I was floored. I then explained to him that he is the manager so he should be the one giving me my options, not the other way around. Basically, I was just told I could re-select or have it replaced. We had intended to buy more furniture as we had picked out a whole bedroom set and we have four other rooms in our home that we would like to fill with Furniture. But we will definitely not be buying anymore furniture from rooms to go as will not be doing business with them ever again.

Before marrying, my husband and I visited Rooms to Go to purchase our entire living room and dining room sets. We were so pleased with the associates and customer service that now, 14 years later, we were going back for a replacement sofa bed. After searching and searching, we finally landed on a sofa that would fit our needs. When it finally arrived, it was damaged. All the parts and pieces were there, but the feet could not be attached because there were no holes bored to screw them in and the cushions were mismatched from other sets as well. Not to mention the delivery people ended up damaging our hallway in the process of delivery.
When we tried to reject and return the sofa, we were THEN told that returns were not options. However, when we purchased from the showroom, we were ensured that if the sofa didn't fit into the room or wasn't a good choice for our home, that we could reject the sofa and return it. "No problem," "Happens all the time," the sales associate said. But that is not the case. If we had chosen to return the sofa, we would be charged a hefty 20% restocking fee plus a return pick-up fee. So we compromised and asked for a new sofa bed. But in the meantime, with no feet on it, the sofa is un-sittable for over a week now ... with two young kids sitting in the floor for TV time. The bed is pushing the cushions up so that no one can sit without damaging the sofa bed under the cushions. RTG response? "Oh well!"
So, now after now taking a second day off of work and waiting more than half the day and an hour+ past our estimated delivery window of time, I still have no replacement sofa. Not to mention the manager at the Brentwood, TN store was absolutely uncaring, unworkable, and unsympathetic to customer care. My husband and I both called to discuss options and we were treated with such disrespect and attitude that I will NEVER go into a Rooms to Go again. All in all, it doesn't matter how good the furniture is, no one deserves this lack of customer service and care. Seems like the RTG of old is NOT the RTG of new. They care more about making the commission than they do about customer satisfaction. And still, no sofa and a damaged hallway.

I have not heard back from **, your claims specialist since December of 2018 and she refuses to cooperate. Here are the facts below.
1) I made a purchase to be given as a gift for my grandmother using my debit card to be delivered to our address. 2) Rooms To Go attempted the INITIAL delivery which caused damage to my walls and door panels. I have photos of my door panels, wall dent, and the smear on the walls. 3) After inspection of the fabric on the sectional, I found that it was stained with a dark, oil-like substance. When the delivery guy's noticed it, it smeared even more. This INITIAL, FIRST delivery attempt was unsuccessful as I requested a swap for another set.
4) After an extended period of weeks, the SECOND delivery attempt was made and it was once again, stained and smeared with this oil-like stain that left a black/brown smear. The delivery guy noticed it on just one of the pieces and didn't even hesitate to cancel the order. He was apologetic even though that stain was not his fault. He mutually agreed that it was unacceptable.
5) The THIRD attempt was made and successful without any damage or stains on November 6, 2018. Note: this is 42 days after my purchase. 6) I opened a claim with Rooms To Go the day of the INITIAL, FIRST delivery (as soon as the delivery guys left) and was directed to your shipping company to complete the claim. After an extended delay and less than average customer service, the moving company that Rooms To Go pawned me off to..... denied my claim several weeks later. 7) I then came back to you, Rooms To Go, and this was when I was directed to handle this issue with ** in your claims department. 8) My delivery fee was refunded, given that I felt it was only fair that I paid for a delivery that took 42 days to successfully deliver AND include damage to our home
9) ** refused to cooperate and did not communicate any decision or attempt to handle my claim with me. I wanted to be compensated for the damage to the inside of the apartment, the time-loss and stress, dissatisfaction of your furniture, the multiple delivery attempts, and the terrible level of customer service I got from not only the delivery company denying my claim, but also HER. I got tossed around for weeks and months with delayed responses and false promises of communication. Meanwhile, I began to feel bitter how (from the grand scheme of things) I spent over $2,000.00 for my grandmother, our place gets damaged, delivery arrives 42 days after the purchase because they had to attempt it 3 times, and in the end I get dished aside from multiple different departments within Rooms To Go.
10) ** took it upon herself and decided to contact our apartment property MANAGER. (without any communication with me) Keep in mind that this was MY CLAIM, MY PURCHASE, MY CONCERN. So the fact that ** went behind my back and without my permission or consent felt the need to speak to the property manager, and decided to FINALIZE the claim, ALL WITHOUT ANY NOTICE TO ME OR ANY COMMUNICATION whatsoever. Come to find out, months later, I find out that she did that. That she finalized my claim after doing all of that without care to contact me. That was absolutely unacceptable. The only good, smooth, respectable part of this entire ordeal.... WAS THE PURCHASE. The salesman was actually a good guy.
11) To my understanding, ** claims she sent the check to the apartment property manager. How is this reasonable. She sent a personal damage claim settlement check to SOMEONE ELSE, for a CLAIM THAT I FILED RELATED TO A PURCHASE THAT I MADE. Keep in mind I'm finding all of this out months later because ** completely ghosted me. 12) The property manager indicated to me that they have not received any check and have no knowledge of anything.
So here I am today after we have lost the deposit money, charged even more fees for the damage your movers made on the initial delivery attempt. Still trying to seek help. This is similar in a sense to how... in the beginning.... I was simply wanting the sectional that I paid for. Now I am out of pocket money to the property manager, time, stress, and my grandmother's credit took a ding as well. (We were not going to pay for damage to the property that we did not create) It seems I am always struggling to get what I deserve.
I have spent tens of thousands of dollars at Rooms To Go, dating back to 2007 in Texas. How can a customer be left in this position and be treated this way? It's just not right. I am seeking compensation. I will not stop until I get what I deserve. Please contact me back soon. Trust me, I was not looking forward to drafting this up on a Sunday afternoon, but I will not stop until I am treated properly, fairly, and compensated as well.

Cant wait for 1 year to make it soft, I have purchased soft couches from Burnett Road before. Once you pay thousands of $$ Nobody cares in Rooms To Go. $2700 trash I regret. P.S They don't return. I am not happy with the purchase. Also be ready to accept missing parts when it's delivered and they will take another 10 days to rectify the mistake since they don't have express delivery for already delivered items or you say “on MONEY that's already in their account.” Had the worst experience at Rooms to Go! The sales person Micheal lied to our question and now he flipped with what he said. Plus the worst customer service ever. I wouldn’t recommend.

I purchased $7K worth of furniture from RTG for their Labor Day sale in September 2019. Although delivery was slow, I finally got my last piece November 2, 2019, and can say I am very happy with the prices and quality of furniture. The slow delivery was 75-percent my fault because I would only do Saturday deliveries & I did go back and change some items in my initial order. I ordered a complete living set, dining room set, and bedroom set. The dining room set came in was the right style, but I wanted a countertop set. I went to RTG the following day they set up a new order for the countertop dining room set and the upcharge was only $50 more for the more expensive countertop set.
RTG robo-called (computer), texted, to called with a real person to confirm my delivery day and time 48-hours prior to delivery. The drivers showed up 30 minutes early to one delivery so be careful. If you miss them, it "could" be a while before they come back. I had a total of three deliveries. I was worried at first because of all the negative reviews I read online, but I can say my experience was five-star. From the purchase to the delivery, RTG impressed. Alan was my sales associate for the Augusta, GA location and he did a superb job of taking care of me. Thanks RTG!!!

I recently moved to a new city and spent more than $3000 on new furniture at RoomsToGo. Part of my purchase included a bedroom set that came with a Therapedic Allington mattress. They did not have a sample of the mattress in the store to try out, but the salesperson assured me that I would have 30 days to make a decision about the mattress. I should have known the deal was too good to be true. After one night on the mattress, I called customer service to complain about the metal/plastic "piping" that dug into my flesh when I sat on the bed. We had a long conversation about options. Basically, the customer service agent told me that I'm screwed...They have a NO return policy on mattresses, UNLESS you want to turn it in for a mattress of greater value. I think it is interesting that they are willing to take the mattress back if you want to pay more money, but they will NOT take it back if you just want a refund to purchase a mattress elsewhere.
When I asked about the 30 days, she noted that is what they encourage customers to try out the mattress to "get used to it". I should also mention that I took off from work two half days to wait for their delivery personnel to bring the furniture I ordered. Each time they arrived at 7 PM or 9PM when the window for delivery was 2PM-5PM. The first deliveries were completely wrong. After several calls, they finally got it right on the third try. So frustrating to tolerate such bad customer service, pot smoking delivery men making my whole apartment smell like weed, and poor quality furniture that they won't even take back unless they can sell you something that costs more. Don't buy anything from this store...Especially not a mattress. Nothing is worth the frustration you will encounter.

Apart from that the biggest issue is it's a hard rock, the one we ordered was fluffy and soft. I didn't pay 2700$ for this piece. Bad service. No calls since 4 days. I bought a brand new bedroom set from RTG for a total of a little over $3000. I was approved for their credit card which allows you zero interest for a set term. Everything was great for a year, which is the amount of time that the furniture was warrantied for. After having the set for 18 months the wooden support beam that supports the middle of the bed has broken and is is no longer attached to the frame. The middle of the bed is like sleeping in quicksand because of the sagging.
I called Rooms To Go to see if they would at least have the set that I'm still paying for repaired at least. I was told that they can't do anything because the set is out of the year warranty. I asked if the set can be repaired, and the customer service manager said that they could order the part that has broken off from the frame and that she would call me back once she located the part. Well needless to say, I've never heard back from the manager.
So basically, this cheap furniture is made to only last a year. If you want furniture to at least last longer than the amount of time it takes to pay it off, go to another furniture store. And they clearly know they aren't selling quality items because they only warranty items for a year for structural defects, which my local store agreed this was. Needless to say, my RTG credit card has been cut in two, and I'm telling everyone that will listen to buy their furniture elsewhere.

What a nightmare! I bought a a sofa, loveseat, swivel chair, and ottoman from RTG Vero Beach, FL. I didn’t realize the salesman slipped in the warranty that I said I didn’t want. The delivery date was about 2 months away since 1 piece was on back order. I also purchased a floor model smaller couch. I asked the salesman if the delivery people would put my old sectional, and a heavy wall unit at the curb. He told me me they would put the sectional at curb but since the the smaller couch was a floor model they wouldn’t move the wall unit. When they came to deliver floor model I told them that if they would move wall unit to curb I would “pay” them on the side and nobody would have to know. They did.
When they arrived with the other pieces I asked them to put the sectional at the curb and they said they don’t do that. I told them that the salesman said they would. They said the salesman said they would. They said he shouldn’t have said that. I said he did say it and they told me about all of the other customers that the salesman told they would put the old furniture at curb. After going back and forth for about 10 mins I said if they didn’t do it I wasn’t going to let them deliver the furniture (I originally planned to tip them well). They proceeded to take the old furniture to the curb.
After they brought in the new stuff I noticed that they had put some of the pieces at the curb and some in my already full garage! They put them on top of the moving boxes I had put in there breaking some of the fragile stuff. I told them to put it at the curb. I told them to put those pieces at the curb and they had no right to go into my garage without my consent. They argued with me and then asked me to sign for the delivery and I refused. I said if they put the rest of the stuff at the curb I would sign. They went to the truck and I thought they were calling someone but they just rode off.
I called customer service and they were WORSE than the delivery people!!! They told me that the delivery people aren’t allowed to move old furniture. I asked why they put some pieces at curb and other pieces in garage. She said they’re allowed to move it into the garage but not to the curb. After she argued with me for about 5 minutes I asked for a manager. She hung up on me!!! I called back about 1/2 hour later and spoke to a different woman. She also argued with me. I asked for a manager and she said they don't allow customers to speak directly to managers!!! She said she would “put a note in the file”. I asked what would happen after that. She said she didn’t know. When I told her that was unacceptable she said that’s the way they do things. At that point I could hear women laughing in the background. She said she would have someone call me back. NO ONE EVER CALLED BACK!
I can’t imagine ever putting myself through that again! They have decent furniture but very bad customer service. There are other furniture stores that deliver to Vero Beach with really nice furniture. I know because I just bought a new bedroom set from a competitor. I wish I would have read these reviews before I shopped.

I traveled approximately 157 miles one-way to visit the Rooms to Go showroom closest to my home. My first visit was to see what was available and the second visit was to order 3 couches. On my first visit, we obtained a card from Tracy **, sales associate. Thus, our second visit, was to complete our transaction with her to purchase the couches and added a $400 delivery fee for, what she explained, to include delivery, removal of the existing 2 couches, and set-up of the new furniture. She explained that 1 of the couches we wanted was not in stock; therefore, we would have to wait from July 13, 2019 until some time in September to receive the delivery. She gave me all the paperwork. I should have read the fine print.
I waited until 9/9/19 for the delivery. I had asked my daughter to wait at my house so it would be opened for them; however, when she told them of the 2 couches that would need to be removed, one of the delivery men said they don't move anything. I came home and he again told me (in so many words) that my daughter and I would have to move them. (The couches we had were too heavy for us to move). I then called customer service to be on hold the whole time they brought 3 couches in. During the process, two delivery people came in and shoved one of my couches out of the way to scuff my floor (wooden laminate). I told him immediately that he scuffed the floor and he said that they picked the couch up and didn't slide it. However, my daughter and I saw him do it.
Once the phone was answered by a representative, I had become frustrated and, I am sure, my tone was not nice. She told me the policy and I asked her if she could make sure that the sales associates were trained better on them, due to the misrepresentation during the sale. While I was trying to talk, one of the delivery men held an electronic tablet up for me to sign. Due to the fact that I had not even had a chance to check to see if the electric motors in the couch were working or that there were not imperfections in the couches, I said that I was not signing it. Immediately after I said that, He did not even wait for me to get off the phone before he, his partner, and the driver got in the truck and left.

When customer service called to see how everything was I told her the drawers were misaligned and looked a little odd. She said she would put in an order for a replacement. When the replacement came (the 2nd dresser) I asked the delivery people to see it prior to bringing it into the house. The drawers were in worse shape so the delivery person took a photo of the dresser and said he would show the store. I did not take possession of that dresser because it was worse.
When customer service called me a few days later they said they no longer any more of that dresser and said they would send a technician out to see what they could do with the drawers. Customer service called back and said they had another dresser and we set up delivery on a Saturday (9/7/19) between the hours of 3pm - 7pm. At 7:16pm I left a note on my door telling the driver we were at dinner 5 minutes away and to call me if they showed up (since they were late).

They also said they would overnight the legs to the ottoman (it took 7 days). The dining room table came on a special delivery. When I called back to see if more than $10 could be offered in compensation they offered $50 more dollars. Now to the internet order.... I ordered a book case and since it comes from a third party vendor (no clue who the third party vendor is because it makes no mention of that online) you do not receive a tracking number. So while they say the shipping may take 7-10 business days it can take longer and it did! But when the book case was delivered there were screws and pieces missing.
It was obvious this book case had either been returned without all of the screws or packaged incorrectly. None the less when I called customer service I was told that they could not send out a replacement. They would send out the screws and missing pieces. When I asked how they would know what all I was missing I was told to tell how many pieces are missing and give the order number. I said, "You know what? Please just come pick this book case up and refund me my money." Get this.. ROOMS TO GO DOES NOT OFFER REFUNDS! If you do not request the refund within 48 hours you cannot get a refund! I received the book case on a Friday when I got home from work.
I called the internet sales service and since it was the weekend no one from customer service was available, so guess what? I missed the 48 hour cutoff. This place has horrific customer service and terrible shipping policies. They go thru a third party with shipping so my items showed up on a Ryder truck or a rental truck. One of the deliveries 5 guys showed up to bring in ONE ottoman. 2 of them were driving a personal vehicle. I was not sure what was going on. Bottom line please read this review and find another furniture company. AND PLEASE DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEIR WEBSITE!

Horrible horrible rude company to deal with. Twice missed delivering to me. They first realized after 2 months of waiting for my furniture that the delivery date was Labor Day and they would not be open. So they cancelled on me. Ok, so they chose the next date, Sept. 3rd. They confirmed with an automated phone call on the Friday before and an email about my scheduled time for Tuesday. The email stated clearly 8 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. I took four hours of vacation time, moved rugs, furniture, stripped bedding to make room for the new furniture I ordered 3-4 months ago. NO ONE SHOWED. I get a call later that day asking why am I not at home. I explained the times they gave me and they get belligerent with me, like it's my fault.
I speak with both drivers, dispatch, customer service, the manager, left a message for administration and not once did they own up to their mess. I have family arriving for the first time ever since I moved to Texas to come see me (5 years). I had purchased a new house and wanted everything perfect before they arrived. They asked when they could reschedule and I said I will take another 4 hours vacation time on Friday. The immediate response by the manager was "NO". They won't accommodate anyone even though 6 calls later they admitted it was their fault. They were rude, talked over me, and gave me a delivery date weeks from now. They claim there is absolutely positively no way there is any room on any truck in a large metro city like Austin for weeks.
I tell them, "This is your fault, bump someone." Then the manager tells me that those people have been waiting for deliveries too. Many of them just bought items 3 days ago and haven't been waiting months. When I saw everyone reviewing them with a 1 star I thought this can't be true or you wouldn't be in business. Refused to get it to me sooner. Refused to escalate the issue up management. Refused to refund any money for the hassle other than 1/2 my delivery charge. Refused to find another truck even though they contract out to other companies for deliveries.
The icing on the cake was when they sent me a follow up survey that you cannot access about your experience unless you register. They don't want to know. They hear this all day long and are so desensitized to complaints it's like asking for a glass of water. They won't even let you talk with upper level management with a complaint. It's a voice mail that is handled by customer service who won't return you calls. Find another place to go and save your self weeks of daily phone calls and aggravation. When I said I would write a bad review, they literally laughed.

I purchased the fabric field exclusive fabric protection 3 year warranty on a Raf sofa I purchased on May of 2017. I recently had an accident with some wine staining my sofa. I called ROOMS TO GO and notified them of the accident and they sent out a technician which just came with a water spray bottle and a brush to supposedly remove the stain. The stain didn't come out so he advised me that I will hear from ROOMS TO GO within 2 or 3 weeks. It's been 2 months and still nothing. I called ROOMS TO GO customer service and I was told that the stain was too big and was not covered by the warranty. Meanwhile on the warranty contract it says nothing about a specific size of stain which is and not covered.
On the warranty it also says "#2. If stain cannot be removed by a ROOMS TO GO technician, we will reupholster the stained area". "#3. If step 1 or 2 cannot be accomplished, at ROOMS TO GO discretion the stain piece will be replaced or the owner may select a new piece of furniture equal in value and quality to the original". Customer service told me that the stain was not cover at all stating that according to the pictures the stain was too big and not covered by the warranty and that I would have to hire a professional cleaning service to remove the stain. I feel like I was rip off and I would never purchase anything again from them and I will advise all my friends and family that ROOMS TO GO is nothing but a rip off and are not straight with the policies on their warranty. I'm not asking for anything I didn't pay for, I just want my sofa to be taken care off in accordance to the own rules of their warranty contracts.

I purchased a bedroom set and mattress, nothing turned out how it was suppose to. My bedroom set came scratched and my base that I was told would be massaging was the lower caliber that just raises. This is absolutely ridiculous. Then the financing I was told would be 88 months was 30 months. Called Synchrony Bank and they told me that was set by Rooms to Go and they can change if Rooms to Go called and let them know. I call to tell them and get the base switched as it is not what I was promised, they tell me to spend another 1200 dollars for an upgraded base to get what I was already promised. They never called back about the financing either. I will never come back and if you want honest caring people do not buy from them. I will be contacting my attorney.

DO NOT BUY THE JUNK SOLD BY ROOMS TO GO! On July 25, 2016, Rooms to Go sold me a defective Cindy Crawford Home Adelino Leather Recliner for $861.32. The inner supports of the steel base were improperly welded and 2 of the 4 welded joints broke, causing the chair to be unstable. I have removed the base and had all 4 support joints properly welded. The welder advised that the joints gave out 1 at at time, and that it is not likely that I would have noticed the first break. However, the first break put more stress on the base causing the second joint to break, which I noticed. The welder also advised that based on his inspection of the welded joints, that it is likely that the first break occurred shortly after we began using the chair --- during the warranty period. Rooms to Go refused to repair or replace the chair since it was "out of warranty".

He was patient, helpful and most knowledgeable about the products he sells. My wife had certain ideas on how she wanted to furnish the house and Marcos was able to guide her thoughts into a plan that the both of us got excited about. Short and sweet: In my case, Rooms To Go doesn't deserve even one star. We bought a house full of furniture including two adjustable Craftmatic Beds, for our newly built home. The house full of furniture was by itself, Thousands of dollars, the two Craftmatic beds were by themselves, almost $3,000. The only reason we decided to pay that much for the two beds was because the sales person said that the reason the beds cost so much, was because they were the "Cadillac" of adjustable beds, AND that they carried a 20 year warranty! We thought it over, and my wife's physical condition merited the expenditure.
Last week I called Rooms To Go, to report that the mattresses had become lumpy, pitted and no longer comfortable to sleep on. Guess what, The Customer Service girl, Cheyenne, after I explained the situation, came back and said she had spoken to her manager, "Ed", and that he said to tell me-that the TEN YR warranty had run out, but that he was going to "EXTEND THE WARRANTY" and that he would call me back within 24 hours to make arrangement to have a person to come out and confirm that the mattresses were indeed in need of replacement. "Ed" did not call in 48 hours, so I called the store and spoke to a salesperson who spoke Spanish, and after I explained the whole story, she said that there was no Cheyenne or Ed. Turns out that the assistant mgr was named Edwin NOT Ed, she said. Ed took the phone and told me that there was nothing he could do because the 10 year warranty had expired.
I said, "you must be mistaken, because the two sales persons said that the Craftmatic Adjustable beds came with a 20 yr warranty. That that was why they cost so much.” Ed said he was sorry, and wanted to help, but he could not do anything for us. I said, “Then, your representatives (a second salesperson teamed up to help close the sale) lied to us,” and we figured the 20 yr warranty was worth the $3000 price, otherwise, we may not have purchased the beds. Just because we are Seniors and trust so much, we should not be treated this way. I'm sure that there are honest sales people there and elsewhere, but it's safer to make sure that you get it in writing. I wonder if we are the only ones that this has happened to? We should have had read the warranty. Suggest that you don't make the mistake we made.

I will never order anything else from RTG. My in store experience in Kennesaw was just fine. I was informed my leather sectional would be delivered between 10am-2pm yet delivery appeared at my home at 8:25, with no notice they would be early and I was at work. I had to talk to them through my ring door bell (THANK GOD FOR THAT) because I still didn’t receive a telephone call. Delivery drivers did not offer any alternatives but had begin unloading the pieces of the sectional onto my porch, making me believe the items would be left there since no one was home. I made the tough decision and allowed the items to be placed into my garage, which I could access remotely. Keep in mind, I paid $140 for white glove delivery service which included assembly. I then received a call not 5 min after they left asking how my delivery was.
I explained my dissatisfaction and anger and was advised they would call delivery dispatch to see if someone could come back around 4:30-5 to assemble it, when I would be home. Received two more calls from Taylor with delivery and she said she would check to see if that time was available and call me back. She never called back. Around 4pm, I called RTG to try to get an update, because I was still at work. I was then advised that someone was outside my home to assemble it. Unfortunately, no one from delivery ever called me back to confirm they could come back to my house between 4:30-5. At this point I’m pissed. I ask to speak with a manager because I want my delivery fee refunded because this is a huge unnecessary hassle due to horrible communication. The Supervisor, Ashley is just as rude as she wants to be and tells me that I will not be receiving a refund.
As I continue to press her as to why because their delivery drivers screwed up, I’m advised I will receive a half refund. As I ask why not the full refund, I’m informed that it’s on a recorded line that I requested someone come back between 4:30-5, they were at my house and I was not there. I then reminded her that is it’s on a recorded line that I requested that time, it’s also on the recorded line that Taylor was supposed to call me back to confirm the time, which she didn’t. I got home and checked my ring door bell camera and no one even came back out to my house! Those were lies. No one rang the doorbell. No one knocked. No one even pulled into the driveway. Lies she told!
I was eventually told someone would come tomorrow around noon to assemble it and that I would be called by that person, Ryan and Taylor before noon. No calls. No confirmation. So I call back to customer service and explain I want a refund of my full delivery fees or to return the couch, because this is ridiculous. The rude associate told me I was not getting a refund because I asked for the couch to be placed in the garage. I was also advised from RTG customer service that the delivery drivers were NOT supposed to put the items in the garage. So who’s wrong here? I should have just refused delivery at that time and got my refund, I definitely know now. She finally ended up saying they would give me $100 or the $140 delivery fee back, but that’s still not sufficient.
So the next day. Now I have to take away more time from work to be home by noon. I was informed I would receive a call from the person coming to my home and Taylor that morning. No calls, no communication, at all. I get home around 11:45 and delivery person arrives at 12:22. It takes an hour to assemble and I’m late getting back to work. No follow up communication to confirm receipt. That I was satisfied. Nothing! I should have followed all the other reviews and not given RTG my money. They do not know how to take care of the customer. I should have and will from now on, spend my money elsewhere.

However, my partner is 5’11 and wanted a nice comfortable recliner to sit in like he had before we moved to FL recently. His head is not supportive in this recliner and the seat is very hard. It is very uncomfortable for him. He called to return /exchange it for a more comfortable one. We had to speak to our sales person who said he would speak to the manager and call us back on Saturday, which was several days away.. He did not call.
A few days later they did call and sent a worker, Mark, to our house to check complaint. He sat in it and was just a little taller than my partner. He said he understood as it did not support his head when reclining and he felt it was hard too. About 5 days later a woman called and said they do not do returns or exchanges. She said the leather will break in and make it more comfortable- but however, the back is not going to expand to reach my partner’s neck so he will be comfortable. We had also bought the warranty but it did not cover that. We initially called them about 5 days after purchase, and it took a month for all of this to be settled and not in our favor. Went back a few weeks later to purchase a king size mattress for my son. All went as expected. My daughter in law mentioned she gets very hot when sleeping so Sheryl sells her the $300 mattress protector. When delivered the mattress protector slides under the sheets and was not usable. I called RTG and was more or less told tough luck... you just lost $300 as there are no returns or refunds on anything delivered to you (keep in mind I was wanting to exchange only). Not wanting to believe this, I went in to see Sheryl. She was off so I spoke to a manager who informed me I must speak to Sheryl. Took my information and would ask Sheryl to call me tomorrow. No callback.
I call and ask to speak to Sheryl and am put on hold. Then a lady answers and asks if she could take my name and number as Sheryl is out to lunch. I recognized the voice and it was Sheryl! I proceeded to tell her I would call back. I go into the store and a once very friendly Sheryl cannot wait to pass me on to someone else. The manager came out and said he was sorry but he could not do anything about the mattress protector (same answer corporate gave). The point of this review is to advise consumers that when you buy the mattress, they WILL sell you a protector. Think twice about spending $300 and having no recourse if dissatisfied.

He presented an iPad to me to sign without giving me an opportunity to review an itemized bill. He seemed credible so I signed. He then handed me a folio with the print out inside the folio all folded up. Here's what I found when I opened the folio: he did not give me the package price for the individual pieces as he promised. I called him and he was not available. I spoke to the assistant manager; he said that he could do nothing; I then went into the store and met with the manager; Sandy gave me $150 back as store credit when they owed me $300 plus tax: $321, a loss of $171 and I had to take store credit.
After the pieces were delivered, I observed that none of the side were finished so I had to order two additional ottomans for which they charged me full price. In my opinion, be careful: I was not ever told that the sides of the pieces except the ottomans were unfinished. I was told that I was getting the package price and I did not. They cheated me out of $171. They doubled billed for delivery. I will never buy there again and I hope that you will not either.

I figured although this company's furniture is low quality it should last for quite sometime since I am the only one that would use it. Boy was I ever wrong! First the woman at the store lied to me and sold me a warranty which was supposed to cover repairs. She sold me a stain warranty on pleather furniture. Why would I buy a stain warranty on something you can wipe off. In less than a year the pleather started deteriorating.
This company replaced the center section, but the same issue began with this piece as well. Less than two years in and I stopped using this junk. Every time I sat down in and got up I had the brown pleather stuck to my skin. What worse this junk sat in the living room not used and the pleather was deteriorating on all the pieces. I kept it in the living room because every time I looked at it I saw 2,000 plus wasted dollars. Yesterday, I decided to drag this junk to the street in the middle of a tropical storm.
I bought a King size bedroom set from this company too, the side rails started cracking after a couple months because of the poor wood product used. The company replaced one rail. I immediately reinforced with some oak boards. Fortunately I am still able to use the bedroom set. I will never buy anything from these bottom feeders again, and I suggest if this gets posted those reading will not buy this junk either. We purchased a sectional we really liked. I made sure it was nice and firm. Not quite a year of average use (2 person adult household) it is caving in on itself. Knowing we had purchased an extended warranty, we made a call to customer service a week or two after having it a year. They sent someone over who verified the poor quality of construction but also told us that our warranty only covered stains... We got the Stainguard. In short, we paid 1700 for a sofa that is not usable after 12 months of average use. Kudos to customer service for shutting us down our hope of making an exchange. We will never shop at Rooms to Go nor will we ever recommend them. Quality is very poor!

Three times they delivered a bedroom set that was damaged and the fourth time the set looked good except it was the wrong bedroom set. I now after 2 months I still don't have a bedroom set and they will not give me a credit. Customer service is awful and corporate is no better. I have no choice than to go to social media and let everyone know this company is awful, and speaking with many other people this seems to be the norm. I now will go to small claims and take this matter further.... Maybe now I will get a call back from CORPORATE.

I purchased a sectional after the representative informed me that and stains or damages to my sectional the item will be replaced or serviced. One year later they will not service or replace my furniture. Even though I have proof of warranty purchase. They informed me I would have to spend money on a performance to come out and service my sectional. When you have documents to back up what you purchase and still get no results, this let you know they do not value their customers or their name.

This ROOMS TO GO in Newport News is a huge disappointment to the prior business I’ve done with them. I’ve spent over 15k with them back in 2010, to furnish my whole house. I had to ship to a friend in Florida. Then hire a moving company to have it delivered to me. So to find out it was a store coming close to home I was ecstatic. I even was recommending people to get their furniture from them. I finally decided to buy a dining set that I been having my eye on for a minute. I got the set w/ a warranty that covered the whole set; per my Sale Representative Mr. Will **...so I thought. After the set was delivered, the 4 barstools I had; because I never sat on them, didn’t know how uncomfortable it was, so I requested that they replace the barstools with 2 more vanilla benches.
The sale representative was upset that changing my order would inconvenience his commission, in became very aggressive in tone, then hung up as he stated call customer service to fix it. After calling customer service, they told me he wanted the furniture returned then I can do it over, which would cause me to place another down payment. Yes, ridiculous...as I stated to customer service. And after she talked to the manager, I was able to change the benches without returning the whole set. We went over everything so I thought.
When the benches arrived 2 weeks later they were chocolate instead of vanilla. Yeah I know, I contacted them immediately. And as unfortunate as it already was; they tried to transfer me to the manufacturer as if it wasn’t their problem. Until I stated that it was their problem because I specifically stated what I wanted, and the CSR repeated back to me. So here we are again, another process to get the correct merchandise. I was told their call me back when a delivery time was set up. I had to call them because now it’s almost 2ks in the CSR have the nerve to say, I had to wait almost a month to receive the benches.
After not having it, the CSR stated she could get it out to me in a week. Got the benches, had a get together, benches got stained, call to utilize warranty, to find out my warranty covered everything but my vanilla bench. And when I changed the barstools that was covered, they never asked if I wanted to put the warranty on the new items. And I wasn’t aware of this until a situation causing me to need my warranty arose.
The manager claim there is nothing they could do once it’s delivered delivered. Oh, and that wonderful apology that means nothing but you got **, and deal with it. Let’s not leave out that I never received a new reconfirm my current order to review. So if I could catch the mess up, they took that option from me. All I can suggest this point is be careful how you deal with this company. Don’t let their friendly fake faces fool you. Because they’ll distract you into covering the bases. You would think the company would have some integrity about what was done. But they never have any intentions on honoring your warranty. And would find any way to not take responsibility.

I purchased on 5/14/2018 at the Destin FL store a 54" high top bar table, that is still sold in the Destin FL store and advertised in flyers. I did not buy the extended warranty. Around Feb/Mar time frame I noticed and called on 5/13/19 to let them know a little quarter size lifting was forming on the table. The lifting mark is hard to see but I saw it. They scheduled a technician to come out and inspect on 5/31/19. The technician said I would hear back in couple weeks from RTG. He said they would either fix it or it would be turned in as Mfg Defect. Keep in mind I didn't purchase the extended warranty and the 1 yr Mfg Warranty for defectiveness was getting close.
I finally called yesterday on 6/26/19 to find out what was the decision. The young lady at the care center told me nothing can be done. The technician said something at the residence caused the lifting, like a wet glass was sitting on the table. Now how can a wet glass that may have or not been left on the table and not leave a water stain but yet was left long enough to cause lifting?
WARNING WHEN BUYING KITCHEN TABLES AT RTG!!! Yes this should be left on every table you see at RTG For Sale: Nice table. Pretty table. Buy it today but don't leave anything wet on the surface of the table we buy from cheap sources and this laminate surface may start to bubble and lift. If you want to pay extra RTG can sell you an Extended Warranty, then if it happens we may or may not fix it or ask the Mfg to replace their crappy cheap furniture they Mfg and RTG has to sell an Extended Warranty on just to prevent things like this from happening. RTG basically said I have to live with this piece of crap dining table because it is now out of Warranty but it never was a Mfg Defect, I caused or something in my household caused the defect.
If you are a consumer reading this and are considering on buying from RTG, think twice because they do not stand behind what they sell unless they sell you their 3rd Party Extended Warranty and then hopefully you won't have to use it because it too will be another battle to get resolved because they too will tell you it was your fault!!!! Never ever will I buy from RTG!!!! Amazon, Wayfair and all the other Internet Furniture sources will run you out of business in a few years....Bye bye RTG!!!!

What's the point to schedule delivery... They come when they're pleased. Any company that values their customers would try to work out the issue, but RTG delivery department representative was very argumentative and kept repeating himself like a parrot "We promise delivery, not the schedule". So, here's the deal with this awful company - you pay for the service, they fail to provide the service and there's nothing they want to do about it nor you can do something about it. Updated on 09/19/2019: Please see my prior review for Rooms To Go from June 2019 as this is a follow up. Well, after weeks and weeks of trying to get the correct legs for my sofa (they kept sending the same plastic legs, even after I would give them an extensive description that they were supposed to be wood, the color of the wood and the size of the legs). I tried contacting the store, and they would not help either. I finally gave up after receiving 4+ pairs of the same plastic legs and bought the correct ones on Amazon at a cost of another $35 to me. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT ROOMS TO GO AGAIN. COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT!!!
Original Review: Ordered Sofa and Chair and delivery company came on a Saturday and they realized the incorrect legs were in with the chair. (How does that even happen???) Asked me if I had any blocks of wood they could put it on and said CS would call me and get the right legs out to me. Instead, I immediately called CS and had to give my telephone number to the CSR about 8 times (I honestly think she was high or something). CSR told me she could order the parts and have them overnighted to me. Called RTG CS on Tuesday and was told they didn't carry the parts in stock and they would either have to order them from the manufacturer (could not give me a timeframe at all) or that they could deliver another chair (wow, such efficiency). Told them I didn't need a new chair, only the legs, but they said it was the only way they could do it. Was then set up for delivery for Thursday between 8-12.
At 10 on Thursday was called and advised the driver was running behind and new delivery time is between 1-5 and that the driver would call me 30 minutes before the delivery. I advised them I had an appointment at 5:15 and they assured me that he would be there before 5:00. At 4:00pm, still no call and knowing that it takes at least 15-20 minutes on hold with CS before anyone even picks up, I called back to CS and was told the driver still had 2 deliveries before me. I again explained that I only needed the legs and that I needed to leave at 5 to be at my appointment on time, CSR advised she understood and that the driver would call when he is 30 minutes away.
At 4:51pm the driver finally calls and says he's 25 minutes away. I advised him I couldn't wait 25 minutes (I'd be out even more money if I missed my other appointment) and advised him that the delivery window was originally between 8-12 and then moved to 1-5 and he was not going to make that either. Delivery guy said "oh well if you're not able to make the delivery time". I said, "Hold on, you're the one not making the delivery time" and he just advised I'd have to reschedule. Called CSR on Thursday and was offered a $20 gift card for the "inconvenience"...INCONVENIENCE??? I've lost an entire day of vacation time and countless time on the phone for a $20 GC from RTG??? The amount of my vacation time adds up to more than the chair was worth.
Now in addition, I have spent hours on the phone on Friday trying to get the legs to no avail, Supervisors and Sr. Supervisors won't help and won't tell me where I can go to just pick them up, store manager won't help, just says if I'm not willing to wait around for delivery on another chair (again, how inefficient can one company be?) that they will have to order from the Manufacturer and still won't provide a timeframe. I will never, never, never, buy from Rooms To Go again and will tell everyone shopping for furniture not to go.
