    On August 21, at the Rooms to Go store, located at 10623 NW 12th St Ste A, Doral, FL 33172, I was looking for a living room set, and I was immediately attended by the sell person **. Who was in charge of sell. Mr. ** sold us a table for coffee, which they did not have in stock, he only showed me a photo on the iPad, and I had to receive the merchandise by mail.

    After a week, I received the merchandise by mail, but it was never my order, was other furniture, this merchandise was different, immediately I called the store to return the merchandise, and ask what had happened to my order. The store manager told me that I could not return the merchandise, and that as a favor he was going to give me a credit so that I could buy another furniture in the store, all this was in one call. When I went in person to speak with the salesperson and the store manager, both left me with no options, I could only accept a credit, of something that I had not really ordered. The financing company is working together with the store. The customer will pays interest and charges for merchandise that you have not ordered.

    I purchased an electric leather sofa and chair. The salesman strongly advised that we take the extra warranty as it would protect any defects that could arise. I have nails coming out of the back of both the sofa and chair and I was informed that it's not covered as it wasn't a manufacturing defect. The sofa's electronics causes the sofa to open whenever it feels like it. They didn't fix that. In the middle console the USB hubs don't work. I feel that because of our age 77 and 78 they took advantage of us and figure to just ignore our concerns. I always told everyone how good Rooms To Go was and now I'm sorry for saying that. This is the worst customer relations any retail establishment I have ever dealt with.

    This is a lonnnnnng story so to keep it concise, I will literally just use bullet points and it should still convey this hot load of absolute nonsense. My wife and I order couch (07/03/2021) with the expectation of said couch being delivered sometime in August which is already kind of a long time, but whatever, we're easy to please. I get a text Sunday afternoon, August 22nd saying our couch would come in tomorrow between 11 am - 3 pm. Only problem is: we both work like normal people do. I attempt to reach out but the automatic system says it doesn't recognize my phone number which is weird, as it just texted me... and it's a Sunday so like, no one is there to answer the phone.

    I wait until Monday morning to call, the person I spoke to said they in fact COULD NOT move my appointment but could give me a heads up so I could leave work, take my 'lunch break' and get back. I get a text message saying that said couch will be at my door in 6 FRIGGIN MIN- and like most Americans, I do NOT have a 6 min commute... I proceed to call and no one answers until I get through the driver who says: "Yeah, I'll technically still have to drive to your apt to make sure you're not there and then you can call them back tomorrow to schedule an apt..."

    Over the next 3 days I get a myriad of differing information from numerous customer service reps until I decide to go in person. I show up in person only to be told that because I missed my 6 min heads up that the order was closed and went to the next buyer after I PAID FOR IT IN FULL 2 MONTHS AGO and now it would arrive in December... I promptly cancelled my order and walked out of that mug. If this story moves you, go hide a stank fish in a display for me so I can get some sweet justice. I don't have the moxie for it.

    1st I was brought the wrong ottoman. I had to schedule another pick up and delivery to receive the correct ottoman. Now the delivery time for the couch has been moved 4 hours out! No phone call--just a text message. I called the store and was told rescheduled again and the delivery will be the last one of the day at 9 pm!!! Unacceptable customer service. Waited 6 weeks for the couch and now waiting again. I was told nothing could be done--Manager is supposed to call me back. Will be the last time we shop at Rooms to Go...I guess my bedroom sets will be making another furniture store very happy....

    I am a loyal customer at RTG for about 20 yrs. I had never experience this type of service from them until now. They are HORRIBLE! I never received my items. Driver stated that he would be here in 30 minutes. Never saw him/her, so I called customer Service. Waiting for over 30 minutes. The young lady told me that the driver stated the 2 mattresses had gotten wet. So, I asked her why didn't he/she told me that in the text when they said that they were on their way. They are really going downhill. I'm just done doing any type of business with them again. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER!!!!

    I did an online purchase once I received the product 3 days later. I requested to return, they said their policy is that a service technician has to come out and inspect it which took over a week. They said it would take 3 days for the report. When I called 3 days later, they said it would take a week. I call today, was on hold 40 minutes with customer care saying they can't do the return but online sales would. I call online sales, another 40 minute hold, and they can't authorize returns. I have to call customer care. After an hour on hold I was told I can reselect something equal or GREATER value.

    Customer service supervisor told me I wasn't getting what I want but she would let me pick something else. I told her it was unacceptable. I do not want the product and she said I chose to shop here, but she's helping me by letting me select something else. She then stated they do not have a return policy and I should have looked on the website. That's the worst customer service I've ever experienced and will NEVER shop there again nor will I ever buy a mattress online!

    I bought a few pieces of furniture from RTG at the end of 2020. Delivery was set for February. When the furniture arrived, on time, the delivery guys assembled it outside. I watched them from a front window. Horribly, they yanked this yellow tape off the couch and loveseat I ordered. That tape held to cushions to the main frames. Trouble: The tape tore open a seam on the back of the loveseat. The delivery guys saw it, and told me a repair guy would be out within ten days.

    Ten days later this guy came out. He seemed to not have a clue. He took pictures and told me he'd have to order a complete back panel, and then do the installation in my home. He said he'd be in touch in ten days. Months went by. I called Customer Service and NEVER got through, no matter how long I held. The call back option NEVER got me a call back! Six months later, nothing has happened! I've written to this terrible excuse for a company, over five times. Each time, I'm sent instructions that require me to jump through yet another hoop: Take a picture, detail what's going on, etc.,etc.

    I strongly doubt anything will happen towards fixing my loveseat. I will fix it myself, and it'll be a better repair than what this company would do, I'm sure. Do NOT buy furniture from Rooms To Go! They make you sign a contract which gives them the infinite wiggle room I'm now experiencing. Everything is put in their favor, the minute you sign their contract. It's legalese at its worst! You've been warned!

    I’ve bought furniture from Rooms To Go before and I think I never had such terrible experience as the one I had this time. I bought a full bed and mattress set, two weeks later they called me and told me the bed that I’d bought was not in stock and that I had to wait more, it’s okay I decided to have my mattress with the box spring and a bed frame to hold it at least. They showed the delivery date at 11:15pm (7 hours later than the time scheduled time frame), they did not assemble the bed or anything because they allegedly were “too tired”, I decided to be empathetic and let it go.

    A month later on the delivery day for the actual bed they showed up to my house 2 and a half hours later than the time frame (I didn’t go to work just to wait for them and they ended up getting there late), the gentleman who delivered the bed told me that they had missing screws but it was “okay.” They indicated that I should be able to have them sent on the mail if I call customer support, they “assembled” the bed and left running, when I went over to my bedroom to check it as soon as I put my knee on the mattress the whole bed fell on the floor and the mattress almost flipped. The headboard was broken, baseboard broken, legs broken, footboard damaged and they even left a piece on the floor that I don’t even have any idea of what it could be.

    Feeling frustrated I called customer service to find a solution, waited over 1 hour on the phone until I decided to use the “call-back option” (they never called back), hours later I decided to call the actual store, they said they will call me back, they call me 27 hours later (very fast). The lady on the phone whose name was “Sam” told me that they were going to take the delivery fee off my charges (I know, pretty amazing) and the bed was going to be picked up 2 weeks and a half later (also really fast, of course). As I needed a sooner solution I ask for a sooner day for them to pick it up as she answered “my manager is out of town, if you want to talk to him he is coming back Saturday.” (3 days after I had the inconvenient).

    I called back on Saturday at 4 pm to talk to the manager, I reached out to him, he acknowledged the situation and said that he will call me back (didn’t do so), I call back next day on Sunday at 4 pm again (24 hours later), as he tells me that he had sent an email but had no response, then he told me to call him 30 minutes later so he can call the “delivery team” and find a solution. I called him 30 minutes later and he did help, my bed was being picked up in a week, not two weeks, one week (I know, big change) and as I was addressing the situation his best answer for me was very sarcastic and I quote “Well, I know you probably make a lot of money but I’m already giving you the refund on the delivery fee, if you don’t want it I won’t give it to you then, sorry”.

    So basically Mr. Wayne ** suggested that the fact that I went through all this situation was worth 60$ and a very sarcastic apology. Definitely by far the worst customer service, and service in general that I have had ever, if you are reading this please do not buy from Rooms To Go anymore, is not what it used to be. Go somewhere that you know you’re not going to get scammed or get robbed.

    I purchased almost 3k of bedroom furniture. It needed to be delivered in multiple parts. Today was supposed to be the last. It's 337 and still no furniture. I've had to call customer service all day. I was told it would be late. Then I was told they were denied at the gate. Then I was blamed and told I never answered the phone. They are Liars and thieves. Poor product, not worth the price, not worth the headaches. Buy your furniture ANYWHERE else Than Rooms to Go.

    Johnny has been able to help from the start. He helped with the financing process, setting up delivery and then we had to reschedule the delivery and he was glad to help. We had an issue with the delivery service and I called Jonny and he was able to reschedule for a sooner date.

    Month ago I went to Rooms to Go on I-20Hwy Ga to buy a new set of sofas. The salesman was very professional and very helpful, he told me that I have to wait at least a month for my delivery. When they supposed to make the delivery some rude lady call me and told me that was impossible to deliver my furniture because the delivery guy had an emergency and I try to change the delivery day for the next weekend, she make me wait for 30 min so I can speak with another representative, after I spoke with the customer service they told me that the delivery day was fine for the next weekend but that's not true.

    Monday morning I get a message about the delivery was going to be Monday morning between 9am to 1pm, around 12:30 get another message changing the delivery hours AGAIN! and now was going to be between 2pm and 4pm. I don't know what kind of game playing in Rooms to go but I will never NEVER going to buy nothing again in that store, is unbelievable the way that treat customers, I lose two days of work and not even try to apologize about this all situation.

    This place is full of **. Don’t waste your time or money. Most of their workers are Spanish fools, don’t know how to order or do anything right. They need to be shut down if you ask me.     I have had the worst experience with Rooms To Go and their technicians' overall service. I have been trying since April to get a chair repaired. I have spent over 1000 dollars on the chair. Now my chair is leaning to one side. I have had to request three different technicians to come and repair the chair. When I could get someone to come out to repair the chair, they still didn't repair the chair. They lied to me and passed the blame on other people. When I call customer service, they don't know what went wrong, where the technicians are, or why no one shows up to my appointments. For what it is worth, like so many others, if I could give a zero I would. They will not be receiving any further business from me.

    I bought a brand new home and ordered a brand new bedroom set from them. The delivery company came out put everything together. That was fine. I had to sign his phone when they were done and they flew out of there and left. As I walked back in to look at everything I see my Brand new floor was torn up.. the Big guy stood on it, he tried gluing my floor back done to protect his ass. So he stood on it so I couldn't see it and then blew up his screen on his phone so there was no writing just a Blank screen. So the delivery company and Rooms to Go don't protect their customers!! Losers.

    Went in to purchase a new bed and the sales person let us know that we had possibly purchased a bed with a defect and could possibly get a credit for it. We had a few Glitches in the process since we were purchasing a bed before having the old mattress confirmed has defective. I reached out to Linda and Jim who are both managers at Rooms to Go and they were very helpful with the whole process and making our nights more comfortable with our awesome new therapeutic bed. I would highly recommend this company due to the fact that they went above and beyond to make sure that things went smoothly for us.

    We are very disappointed. Our delivery was this past Friday. We had a table and chairs delivered. As it was, the wait time to get our furniture was almost 2 weeks. When our order was delivered we looked at all the pieces and they were ok. It was not until we actually sat at the table that we noticed the pedestal was not properly attached. The table wobbled severely. You can not rest your elbows on one side without the other going way up. A representative called within 30 min of the delivery and asked if everything was ok. We told her no and explained the situation. She said she would try to contact the delivery men and have them come back. It was still very early in the afternoon (around 1:00). If she wasn't able to contact the delivery men, she advised us to call customer service in the morning (Saturday).

    We never heard back from her and the men never came back. We called Saturday morning and were told the earliest a technician could come out was Wednesday. A (1 man) technician came out with an Allen wrench in case the table just needed to be tightened. He thought the whole base looked bad and was not just loose. He said he could not flip the table over by himself to look at the base and could not let us help because is was against company policy. He took pictures and said he would make his report and that we should hear back in 5 days. So still no working table and we will see when we get a call and what they say. At this point I would just like to return everything and get a refund.

    Just received a coffee table we have waited a month to get. Lots of damage on this table. 3 cracks on 3 different sides of the table. A large gash under the table that damaged the bottom drawer. We have had delivery from Rooms to Go before and never had any problems. At this point I want to take this table back and get a refund. How sad. Will be the last time I order for delivery.

    I ordered a children's bunk bed on Memorial Day. The earliest they said they could deliver was July 9th. Annoying, but I choose to still go ahead with the purchase. The day before the arrival, we got rid of the bed to make room for the new bed. The delivery men arrived and noticed that they had received two wrong pieces in a completely different color and could not assemble the bed with the incorrect pieces. Called customer service. They never apologized for the mistake but only said, "We can get you the correct pieces in two weeks." That is unacceptable in my book!

    They made the mistake and now I had to wait an additional two weeks for the bed. Plus I got rid of the other bed and kid had to sleep in a cot for two weeks in my bedroom since all the remaining pieces had taken over the room. I emailed customer service as well and expressing my frustration and asking them to make it right. They responded a week later and said that the issue was resolved. So frustrating! I will never purchase anything again from them! I hope this helps other be aware before they consider buying anything from Rooms to Go!

    First off delivery charge was $120 and all they did was take it out the box and set it in the garage…so not worth $120. I had them put it in the garage cause I didn’t want to deal with possible damage to my walls inside the home. Dealt with that the last furniture company I used. I used Rooms to Go thinking the quality of furniture would be better. I was wrong. Tv console has damage all over it. Original order was 6/10/21. Delivery finally to 7/17/21. I will have the item replaced and now have to wait another 2 weeks. If I took it as is my compensation would only be $50. Price of the damaged product $500. Companies/contractors charge expensive amounts for poor quality.

    We bought a sofa in late May to be delivered in September. We changed our mind on July 15 and asked that they cancel the purchase, which we had understood that we could do until delivery. When we cancelled they refused to give us a full refund. They withheld 20% as store credit, which they said is their policy according to the extremely small print on the back side of the purchase invoice (hundreds of tiny words there, so difficult to know about that). We will not be buying anything there again, so we just lost $600.

    After waiting four months to receive 2-bedroom suites, both arrived with issues. The driver/assembly team was unable to put together one of the beds, because two right legs were shipped - instead of one left & one right. The other set was received damaged. The driver reported the issue & still no call from Rooms to Go. I’ve called and waited over an hour! I finally selected the call back feature & sent an email…days later still no response from them.

    The store sales representative told us the two bed frames we ordered had a platform in it so that a box spring isn't required, all we need is the mattress. That was what we were looking for so we purchased the 2 frames. After the two frames were delivered, one was damaged, both had missing pieces, and no platform. The company told us their representative made a mistake and that we would have to buy the bunkie boards for both beds. In addition, even if we did buy the boards we'd have to wait 2 weeks to get the missing pieces to the frame and get the replacement headboard. Their return policy was 80% with a 20% in store credit, a policy that I've never seen in any store. I'd never shop here again.

    We purchased a living room set, sofa and recliner just over a year ago. The mechanism in the recliner has broken, and the color has come off of the recliner, not faded. We purchased the extended warranty. Filed a claim and technician came out, stated he would order the parts. Well they were never ordered and not 3 months later I am told that they are denying the claim, Took 6 months to get this answer from them. The last leather set we had from another store lasted us over 20 years, and now our kids are using it. This is cheaply made and not supported from Vietnam, and Rooms to Go is eager to get your money, but will not stand by the products they sell.

    If you have issues with defects or your warranty, RTG is impossible to get a hold of and/or follow up on your claim. It took 3 months of me calling weekly for them to tell me my sleeper sofa could not be repaired. I had to find a replacement. Meanwhile, 4 months later I have not heard back about the claim to the damage to my floor (the sleeper sofa frame cut into my wood floors). I have called, emailed, left messages, and still no resolution. So, if you purchase from RTG know that the claims department isn't in any hurry to settle the claim. Make sure you look everything over before the delivery person leaves. I have complained to the BBB as well as written to the CEO of RTG. Am waiting for an answer. It is frustrating to spend over $1,000 and have poor customer service. So be warned!

    We purchased a living room set for nearly $4k. Waited nearly 2 months for delivery, when the items finally arrived one of the couches was a completely different color (Everything else dark brown, the large sofa they brought was Ivory White). So we don't accept that item and are told someone will contact us the next day to reschedule, no one does. We contact customer support and are told it will be about 4 weeks before they can bring the replacement, so in the meantime we are a family of 5 with just a love-seat to sit on since we got rid of our old couch a few days prior the new one arriving. So we're upset but deal it.

    Fast forward, 4 weeks later, couch is to be delivered between 10 am and 2 pm, get a call about 12 pm that the driver is running behind and our delivery time now is 6pm-10pm, so we wait, and wait, and wait...11pm rolls around and still nothing, no call, no text, no email, nothing. Wake up the next morning still no couch, check the tracking number and now we get "unknown order number". Call customer service, wait on hold over an hour, when we finally speak to someone, we are offered no apology, no understanding of our frustration, just a blunt matter of fact attitude and are told the next available delivery day is SIX WEEKS later.

    I try explaining that this is not right, and how can we be put to the bottom of the list when it was their error, TWICE no less. Customer service rep couldn't care less, just kept repeating, "that's the next available date". Still waiting, still sitting on a love-seat with a family of 5. Never in my life have I felt less appreciated as a customer, I will never spend another cent at Rooms To Go. I would spend more for the same item from a different vendor, just to not experience this again. I urge you very much to shop elsewhere. I wish someone would have warned me before I bought something from them. Be warned!

    I bought a lot a furniture from this store, had to wait for months to get it delivered, couple of them were damaged, the promise was to replace them from the delivery people, it's been 6 months, no response yet. I left a lot a messages to the store representative, no reply yet. The customer service was the worst I have seen in the whole US, I was on hold more than 1 hour, I had to hang up. My sincere recommendation is not to buy any furniture from this store, they are cheap but the customer service was the worst ever! Period.

    Beware! We bought out patio furniture in April, received it in JUNE without any of the cushions! Their response - we can expect them in NOVEMBER?!?!? We expected a bit of a delay in receiving our order, but to get half of our order with the other have suspended for over 6-months is ridiculous. Surely selling a product and taking money for it without the means to deliver has to be fraud on some level. Be cautious. Make sure your product is in stock and in full. -Furious

    Having a recliner delivered that I had bought back in March. Yes March. Get a text Wednesday saying Friday delivery between 11-3. This morning Friday I get a text between 2-7. Called to find out what's going on. Just told 2-7. Very cold. No emotion not even semi apology. Was told I should get a call 20 mins prior to delivery. Just got a phone call 5:15 truck emergency and won’t be delivered till tomorrow Saturday 12-4. Didn’t want to hear anything. Just cold 12-4. Just absolutely wasted this entire day away. Now a good part of tomorrow will be shot now too. Personally I believe it was done on purpose because I called earlier today. NEVER EVER AGAIN!

    I purchased a chair from them less than two the two years and one month ago my warranty ran out on May and the chair started to deteriorate on the arms and the material buckling and as soon as people would sit in it and get back up it was wearing on both sides. I informed Rooms To Go of my situation. It was $499 and it was not sold as a cheap item but I was treated like a cheap throwaway person. I will throw away my credit card and they will not see me again.

    Not even worth a rating of single star. I had a terrible experience with Rooms to Go after buying Cindy Crawford pine manor gray bedroom set and dining set. The dining set came broken in the first delivery itself and buffet came as open box piece with some patches when I paid in full for new furniture. So we had to cancel this order.

    The bedroom set they delivered had a damage for dresser and they said it can be rectified by service request. So we accepted the delivery and the service guy repaired it for first time. Then it slowly started peeling off from one corner and a crack from another corner for the new dresser within 15 days. We had to call the customer care again and the service guy informed it's not repairable and needs to be replaced.

    They are trying to replace the dresser after lot of followups for 4 times now and always send a open box and damaged piece. Worst nightmare for us trying to purchase in rooms to go. I would strongly suggest consumers not to go for this company products. Attached some of my dresser deliveries they tries to do which were damaged.

    Since we bought this mattress and power base in December 2020 we have had issues with this mattress. Now after this length of time, the mattress is coming apart at the seams. Not satisfied with this at all. I've had mattresses last for 8 years but this one is actually falling apart after 1 year.

    I did order a 2 door Console and I was delivered a Huge Dressing Table by error by Rooms To Go. I did contact the customer care to remove it as soon as possible, as my House Warming Party was 2 days later, however, they did not give any weightage to our request in spite of wrong delivery by them and they did not take back the Dressing Table in time.

    Highlight: I made a complaint in this regard to Rooms To Go Store Manager and also escalated to another one management team member, however, they could not it do anything, other than waiting for scheduled routine collection trip. Conclusion: Rooms To Go is not having any process to handle these kind of issues. Probably, they might have some procedure around it, but that seems not working. I did not find any change in the approach, even if the same was escalated to Sr. Management of Rooms To Go.

    I purchased a Sofia Vergara leather couch in April of 2020. I called Rooms To Go customer service in February 2021 several times to file complaints that only after 8 or 9 months of owning the couch, I noticed fading occurring on one side of the sectional. A tech was sent out and told me the leather needs to be replaced. He acknowledged this was unusual for a couch less than a year old. After conducting several frustrating follow up calls with rooms to go customer service, I was told the fading was not under the warranty and that is was from my own use of the couch. I am extremely upset about this situation. Especially after finding numerous online blogs and reports of others reporting the same issue with their leather couches from rooms to go.

    I spent over $3,100 on this couch and for it to be ruined in less than a year is extremely disappointing and what is even more upsetting is that the customer service reps did not care and were so rude and not understanding of how upsetting this situation is for someone to spend this kind of money and be told this is a result of me sitting on a couch that is meant to be sat on. I have tried everything to escalate this issue.

    We purchased a Cindy Crawford Home Pine Manor King Bed 7 piece set with an additional wardrobe on 4/26/21 from Rooms to Go. Parts of it were delivered on 5/11/21 including the bed. We are still waiting for dresser and the wardrobe. The wardrobe was delivered damaged yesterday so we had to send it back and wait for a new one. But a far bigger concern is the safety of the bed. It is flimsily constructed with slats and small, movable spindles for bottom support. I was constantly under the bed putting them back in place, but when I mentioned my concerns the a delivery/assembly person, I was assured it was safe.

    After only a month of use, my husband moved to get off the bed yesterday and one of the slats broke, along with several of the flimsy support posts. His side of the bed fell sideways and the remaining support slats fell out. No one was hurt, fortunately, but could have been. We could not get any immediate support from Rooms to Go and experienced long wait times on hold while trying to get repair assistance, followed by no return call as promised. So, we ended up disassembling the rest of the slats ourselves and installed our old, sturdy metal bed frame inside the surrounding frame. It feels much safer that way.

    Product is attractive but seemingly very poor quality. RTG customer support has been less than stellar. We also purchased bunk beds for grandkids with similar supports (unsecured slats which we had to request that they attach to the frame) with the addition of bunkie boards. They are hopefully safe with the bunkie boards, but after our bed broke, we are nervous about using them. This was our first experience with RTG and we purchased a number of items to furnish a new home. At this point, we will never purchase from them again.

    I purchased a bedroom set on June 6, 2021 with no delivery until OCTOBER due to COVID. Sales person Jorge **, after asking him cancellation policy several times (due to time delay), repeatedly responded that a FULL refund, credited to my debit card, no questions asked would be issued. A week later, I called to cancel, spoke to sales person "Jorge **” and he said he couldn’t help me. I then spoke to “David”, customer service rep., who claims a penalty would be assessed; when I explained he basically said “I’m sorry” and hung up on me.

    My daughter called back to speak to “David” and he ended up hanging up on her. I proceeded to escalate this to store manager, Manny **, and said he could give me a store credit. I WILL NEVER, EVER, SET FOOT ON A ROOMS TO GO STORE, so what good would the store credit do? Their lack of customer service, manners, and principles are non-existent. What happened to “the customer is always right”? What makes this even worse is how the sales person totally denied everything.

    I purchased a couch from Rooms To Go since April 2021 and they sent the wrong color. I called Rooms To Go customer service and they said they will fix the issue but yet and still it’s not. They told me they redeliver the correct color couch on June 5 2020; because they didn’t have it in stock which I been waiting and still delivered the wrong color couch. I called customer service and I literally waited for one hour and then I decided to do the call back and input my number. No one contact me as of yet. And due to Rooms To Go ​try to delivered the couch because I rejected it they suppose to automatically call me and they didn’t. I’m very upset and they still ain’t even call me yet.

    What a wonderful experience! I am not a big reviewer but I just felt like this kind of service needed to be recognized. I have always been a little hesitant when it comes to buying new furniture. Especially when it comes to furnishing a new home. So this last weekend I decided to visit the RTG in Port Charlotte FL after hearing some ads on the radio.

    As I walked in I was greeted by Christine ** a RTG sales representative. She took her time showing me around the store, making several wonderful suggestions that will definitely help me with my future decorating decisions. She was extremely knowledgeable of every product in the store and very patient with my indecisiveness. She was absolutely wonderful to work with. I left the store feeling like a huge burden had been lifted and most of the major decisions had been made with Christine's help. I cannot recommend Christine and RTG enough! I had a fabulous experience and I will definitely be back looking for future recommendations.

    A supposedly leather sofa-bed, bought in December 2013 for an occasional visit of daughter once/twice a year therefore without relevant use, denounces 7 year later the very bad quality of a fake leather that cracks every time someone sits. Rooms to Go declines any responsibility saying it's an old sofa. Not only old leather sofas do not crack every time someone sits but besides the cracking it does open holes. Only a person that never had a leather sofa can accept such unprofessional, misleading and careless attitude to its clients. If you want quality and not offer your furniture to be removed or even pay for it, do not buy Rooms to Go. Photos, movies and detailed technical analysis is available to expose the artificial quality that does not exist.

    We were looking for outdoor patio furniture. Our sales Rep Carlos, (Naples Store) said the set we selected was on backorder. We wanted the furniture delivered before our son's graduation. Carlos stated that almost all patio furniture is on backorder and that it would not be available until July or early August. Carlos stated that we could place the order and cancel it if we found furniture that would be delivered in time. We needed to deposit $500 and we would get that back if we cancelled. He did not say anything about needing to cancel the order within 48 hours or there is a 20% fee for cancellations. We would never have entered the transaction if we knew that we only had 48 hours to cancel. Carlos understood this, but did not inform us. Carlos should have informed us of this policy prior to the sale.

    We found furniture that would be delivered on time and initiated the cancellation. We talked to the sales manager named Heather who stated that we would not be reimbursed the $500 as there was a 20% fee. Heather was rude and not understanding. She stated that the return policy was on the back of the receipt. The terms and conditions of the sale was set by the sales rep. Be very cautious with making purchases with Rooms to Go, especially when the furniture is backordered.

    I'd want to tell you about my experience with Rooms to Go. I placed my purchase in October of 2020, and it is now May 20, 2021, and I am still waiting for some of my products. Last update: they should delivered my bed room set part on May 3rd but still no update. When I was visit store that said they will update me by next day (05\05\2021) but still no call from the store manager. Almost every time they send my bedroom set, the items are damaged. Multiple deliveries damaged my property, and when I asked for compensation, they denied my claim without doing any inquiry. Finally, I'd never ever recommend rooms to go. It a worse store of the county with pathetic customer services. No commitment. I hope my experience will help you guys and you pay attention while your next purchase with rooms to go. Thanks.

    Attention potential customers please look at the reviews carefully before buying on Rooms to Go. We are having a really bad experience with our Cindy Crawford Home San Francisco Gray 5 Pc Dining Room with Chalk Chairs set. On January 29th 2021 we bought a dining table set. Due to Covid this has a long lead time on backorder. The table was delivered on 04/07, after delivery and assemble we noticed that the table was wobbly and not even. This was reported to a customer service and a tech scheduled to come. The tech came and try to dismount and mount again, but the table is still wobbly. Today on 05/18 I got the delivery of 4 chairs. 3 out of 4 chairs are not even and rocky. They are so wobbly that is disrespectful to think someone would accept that. It seems there's no quality control on products and they are just pushing junk to customers.

    They have no problem in taking payments in advance but we are now stuck with this problem. Please avoid at all cost, wish I had seen the other reviews before buying. This is definitely my first and last time buying at Rooms to Go.

    On 1/02/2019 I purchased 2 mechanical recliners from Rooms to Go for $2919.99. I paid $350.40 for the 3-year extended warranty. In March, my built-in phone outlet USB charger/button control system was extremely hot and burnt my husbands finger. I replaced the USB wire with a brand-new USB wire. Once again, the couch USB outlet was so hot it sparked and left a burn mark from the cord on the side of the couch. My couch outlet is faulty and a fire hazard.

    We are afraid to plug the couch due to the risk of a fire. Rooms to Go stated that this is a mechanical defect and states the warranty must replace the furniture. The warranty company sent a technician out, and he took a picture of the burn and said the company would be in contact. The Warranty company keeps denying the claim and will not send another technician to test the faulty USB port system.

    The warranty states it covers electrical components and burns. Fortegra is not backing their extended warranty, which seems to be a problem by many. They are claiming we put a faulty USB outlet in for their denial reason, but we even purchased a new USB cord, and it burnt the new one as well. Their extended warranty states it claims to cover all electrical units and burns. T consumers. User's recommendation: Don't purchase extended warranty! Customer service is horrible!     I purchased a G Platform and Purple Mattress a few months ago. As an 80 yr old I bought this bed and platform so it's easier to get in and out of Bed. This Purple mattress slides off the bed and I have fallen twice. I went in personally to R2G with complaint, they sent someone out & concluded they could not do anything for me. I am very disappointed in their decision. My daughter actually has a bed similar from Firm Mattress and it has velcro beneath the mattress in order to avoid mattress and consumers falling off bed.

    We purchased the Oakhurst Queen Sleeper Denim couch. We had to wait for 2 months for it to be delivered and when it finally came it was damaged. We saw the delivery guy drop it on the street. The couch had a piece missing in the back and the throw pillows had stuffing coming out of it. The delivery guys came and went extremely fast and never talked to us. We called to fix it and even went to the store to see what options we have. We agreed on another couch but were told it would be another 2 weeks before delivery even though it is in stock. The manager made it clear she didn't want to talk to us. We are first time customers and got treated horrible.

    Bought a bed for my daughter that has book cases that do not even attach to the bed at all. I have tile floors. When the bed moves the book cases fall. They are uneven and when I called the store they said there is nothing they can do so I guess I have to drill the book cases into the wall just to keep them level and from falling.     We purchased furniture, order # *******, on January 1, 2021. This was the ONLY time anyone in your company acted like they cared about our rights as customers at all. Order was to be delivered on 2/16/2021. We had an ice storm that week and even though we poured hot water onto the steps to remove the ice, they claimed it was "too icy" to deliver. Please note my ENTIRE order was to be delivered that day. Couch, chair, two end tables, a coffee table and two lamps.

    Trying to get the furniture rescheduled is where this nightmare really started rolling. We tried and tried to get through on the customer service line but wasn't able to talk to a human, ever, so we called the local store and spoke with "Lee" (Leigh?). Lee informed us that she would call us and reschedule as soon as the furniture was "checked back in at the factory". We're still waiting on that phone call. In the interim, we called the customer service line and requested the call back service. We are still waiting on those call backs. This was in FEBRUARY. I made my FIRST BBB complaint at this time (I've now made five).

    Brad was still telecommuting at this point and was able to get on the phone and wait the required TWO HOURS to speak to someone at your customer service (hahahahahaha) office. They stated they could deliver the couch/chair/lamps at the end of February but we'd have to wait on the tables. Uh, why? Why were they separated to start with? Why was my order compromised? Why am I getting two deliveries now? I made my second BBB complaint then - please note that I've never been able to talk to a human being, even after multiple BBB complaints. The only way "Lourdes" will answer is via the BBB. Won't call or send an email at all. Doesn't do what she says she'll do regardless. As I've stated, FINE customer service. My email lie on this particular complaint was "we will refund your delivery fee" (see attached). Obviously hasn't been done.

    Furniture is FINALLY ALL DELIVERED. Mid March. Still no answer as to why my order was separated to start with. I'm vacuuming my living room one afternoon and I step on something hard, that crumbled to pieces as soon as I stepped on it. Lo and behold, it's a piece of my coffee table. The entire end/corner has fallen off. A day or so later, I was wiping down the couch and some of the fabric (velvet-like) came off on the rag I was using to wipe it down. BBB complaint #3. Brad had also sat on the phone for the requisite TWO HOURS and gotten a service appointment for around the first of April (don't remember the exact date). "Great, furniture will finally be fixed" was my initial thought but I should have known better.

    Took the day off work to be stood up. Tech claims he called both numbers (lie, my phone was right beside me all day, with all calls being accepted. Brad was in a meeting at work and made sure when he called in to request service that my phone number was on the call as well), claimed he knocked on my door (lie, I was at home the entire day and my dog would have gone NUTS when someone knocked, as he always does), claimed he saw shoes on my porch (lie, my 2nd floor porch is behind locked door. It is my actual "front door", can't see through the door to my patio and my apartment door). He left a message on Brad's phone only. We both returned the call. No call back. LITERALLY NO ONE HAS EVER CALLED BACK FROM THIS COMPANY.

    4th BBB Complaint for being stood up with no call. I took a day off work for this!! I used a personal vacation day!! I stated in this complaint that I was done with this horrible company and wanted the furniture picked up. Lourdes' lie to that was either 1) replacement of couch/coffee table (see attached) or 2) a new set of equal value. Now I ask, you, why would I want MORE of your product? I don't ever want to deal with this horrible company again!! Guess it doesn't matter because you don't intend to keep your promises.

    FINALLY Eric the tech arrived. Brad took a vacation day for this visit, which remarkably actually happened. He saw the coffee table before he was even in the door and agreed that both the coffee table and the couch needed to be replaced (couch was structurally unsound, what a surprise). He called into dispatch to let them know this and was told that a replacement had been order the week before and then CANCELED. No explanation in the system, just order canceled. He stated that we'd hear something by Friday regarding the time for pick up and replacement. I won a very nice Italian dinner Friday night when I bet Brad that we wouldn't be hearing from them.

    It's Monday morning. Not only has no one bothered to call us with a date, now your customer service line is COMPLETELY down. Probably on purpose. So I made my FIFTH BBB complaint this morning and started my social media campaign. I requested mediation on this BBB complaint and I expect RTG to pay for my plane ticket because it's their fault. Josh replied to both my Facebook and Twitter posts with this email address. I've also put this information on Yelp and Google and will be posting it wherever else I can. I will go stop people in the parking lot at the Baton Rouge store if I have to. I'll make copies of this email and put them on every car window there.

    We paid over $2500 for this furniture and have nothing but misery since way before it was delivered. I want someone from Rooms to Go to contact myself or Brad. I want my furniture replaced NOW. I want my delivery fee returned NOW. My phone number is *******. Brad's is ******. We both have voice mail. We both accept text. My email address is here. There is NO reason why I have to beg to be a customer. I really wish I'd never set foot in that place.

    The quality of the furniture is really poor. I purchased a bunk bed and of course it's made in China. The main components bent making the bed useless. I called, emailed and texted the service department to not avail. Now the $1400 bunk bed is going out to the curb for trash. I have purchased several things from them over the years it's always the same thing. It looks great and the price seems ok but shortly afterwards the quality is so poor that it ruins your experience and leaves you feeling like you got ripped off. Buyer beware, and don't expect any help from the service/parts department. Just a weak company full of fluff and no substance. I guess it's on me for falling for it, but you don't have to make the same mistake I made.

    I am having an issue with my sofa bed. It took almost 2 weeks to get someone on the customer service line to call me back, just to have the service rep come out to our home. Which took another 2 weeks. He could not repair and said RTG should be calling me back within a week. No one called. Now I am once again trying to call the 800# customer service line to find out the status on my sofa bed, but I can't get anyone to answer. It's after 8am and I am told to call back during business hours, which begins at 8am. It is so frustrating that it is so difficult to get ahold of anyone. I've even tried emailing, but it seems that doesn't do any good either. And when I call I leave a call back #, but no one calls. My couch is under warranty and I want to get things repaired asap. You should consider this before buying from RTG. If things go wrong, they are impossible to reach.

    I bought a new sectional that the pillows went totally flat in less than 2 months. This was a $3,000 sectional and is not even fit to sit on. I took one of the cushions to the store and was told someone would be in touch to remedy the situation because they could tell it was more a pancake than a cushion. I have called and no one has contacted me to remedy anything. This sectional is brand new and is unusable. I just want my couch fixed and if not fixable to replace. Worse quality ever and I can’t get customer service to even call me. Every time I call the store they tell me they are taking care of it but then nothing happens.     Furniture delivered 4/13 (power reclining loveseat and chair). The right side of recliner stuck in reclining position 4/15 because of power loss. Spent 2 hours trying to get assistance and was finally told the soonest a technician could be scheduled was 4/29. I was amazed I was expected to have a piece of furniture in a reclining position for 2 weeks. I told them to come pick up the furniture and was told to contact the store. Called the store explained the situation and was told a manager had to approve the return and they were with a customer, told them I would wait. I held for about 10 minutes and was told the manager approved the return and the soonest they can pick up is 4/22. Very poor service, no interest in trying to resolve the situation sooner than 2 weeks.

    I bought a sofa online and it had fairly good reviews. There was no problem in delivery and set up. But, it is the worst furniture I’ve ever bought. It sits like sitting on concrete and the seats are very narrow. I didn’t really sit on it after delivery. I just sit in the chair once for a short time and went back to my normal older chair. Then I moved the furniture around and sit on the sofa for a long time. My back started hurting and I had to leave it in a reclining position because the seat was so narrow.

    My husband sits in the chair and has to leave it reclined for any comfort. It wasn’t quite as hard to sit in as the other pieces. And by the time I sit on it it was too late for a return. Never again would I buy from them again and I should have waited the 6 months for delivery from LaZ Boy. I didn’t know this was a horrible place to buy furniture. And wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. And everyone I come across I’ll let them know what has happened. I just threw away $3,500.00. It’s going to the dump. My husband even jumped up and down on it and still like sitting on concrete.

    My son and I spent over $4,000 cash money for a bedroom suite and a Mattress for myself. Was to be delivered 4/10 between 8am-noon. Received a phone call from a. Wry fast talking person stating delivery driver's at my house and appears nobody is home. Very hard to understand her since she was talking so fast. The message referred my son to call 800-Rooms To Go. Too many numbers to even call back. We have a ring doorbell that shows who is at my door. She called to say we weren’t home and nobody has even came to my door. I was looking outside and no truck or person was there. I was trying to call the number back she left to call and my ring bell shows someone walked to my door and rang the bell and stood for 5 seconds and walked Off. I saw this and went outside to see a truck parked on another street that was not even ours. I screamed for the driver and he completely ignored me. Got in the truck and drive off.

    Never could get thru to the number the fast talking woman left. Called the store and was advised would not be today for them to come back. Would have to reschedule. We are getting a refund and going somewhere else. Very incompetent people. He was at the wrong address and now we pay for it? No way. Will never get anything from there. The truck was not even Rooms To Go. Unbelievable. Save your money. Go elsewhere. Wish there was a zero instead of 1 star.

    I bought a brand new bedroom set from these people a few months ago and it was the worst mistake I could've made. I have had a broken bed for a month now and these people do not care at all. They sent a tech to check the broken bed after the fact I sent them the pictures of the broken bed per their request on Via Chat since it is almost impossible trying to reach a customer service rep. I sit on hold every time for at least 35min before the calls disconnect. I have also tried the return phone call option but, no one calls me back at all. Well when the tech finally came out days after he came and within at least 3mins says,"Oh yea I have to order this part. I don't have it" I'm like, "Wait so why would they send you." He said, "Well I'm the tech to come check it out." I was still so confused because what were the pictures I send really for at that point. Well now I had to wait for a part to arrive.

    When the part arrived in 2 days they said it would be until 1 other week before the tech could now come back to put in the order place. Well here I am now with a broken bed. Surprise surprise. The part the tech order was the WRONG part!!!! I literally have a bed I paid over 2200 dollars that is broken and I have to sleep on the floor and couch!! I am reaching out to BBB for help as I know this has to be illegal at this point. I have screenshots pictures and emails to prove everything these people have put me through and they don't care at all once you already buy the product!

    There was an error made in our delivery; the wrong love seat was delivered. It is very difficult to reconcile the SKU numbers on your order/receipt vs what you saw in the showroom vs the furniture you receive. DOUBLE check the numbers before you pay. Correcting the error has been difficult and time consuming because customer service is nearly impossible to reach. Same with the store manager. Our only reliable contact was Linda at the Clearwater, FL store who also admits customer svc is hard to reach. It took 6 weeks to get the furniture, and another 4 weeks to get the error corrected. DOUBLE CHECK your own SKU numbers!

    I am so disappointed.. I know that RTG is inexpensive furniture but I would expect it to be damage free no matter what the price. This is the second item I have purchased furniture that's required three exchanges. After they brought the bookcases to exchange the damaged ones I noticed they had black hand prints on them. The driver told me "not to worry that I could wipe them off!!!" Seriously, I can wipe off the dirt marks? As it was the second bookcases were damaged too and I refused to accept delivery of them. The old saying is "fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." I will never buy from them again. I am currently fighting to get my money back. They don't even deserve 1 star.

    TLDR: Emails went unanswered, phone representative (probably) lied to me, hours were spent on this issue. Good news is, I DID eventually receive my refund.

    The Price Guarantee states that if something goes on sale after purchase, a customer has 30 days to contact R2G and receive a refund to their card for the difference in price. After the order is delivered, you can only receive store credit. I purchased a couch online on 2/4. 5 days after purchase (2/9), the couch I purchased went on sale. The same day, I sent an email to Customer Service, notifying them of the sale and asking for assistance on the refund. When that received no response from R2G, I sent another email on 3/4, and then another on 3/9 (also receiving no response to either). The couch was delivered 3/17.

    When I called to try and get this taken care of via phone, I was bounced around to a total of 5 different people. Some were genuinely kind and helpful (but were physically unable to help, not their fault), and some were much less so. They told me repeatedly that they can only offer the store credit, because the item had been delivered. I told them that there must be more we can do, as three contact attempts had been made PRIOR to delivery, all within the terms of the Guarantee - can Rooms To Go just ignore customers until it's too late for them to receive a refund? I was eventually told that yes, they could give me the refund back to my card; but it was a "one time, courtesy refund." They had to remind me of this fact four times. Their reason, being that Price Guarantee refunds need to be processed via phone, and not emails.

    1. Why does the FAQ on the website regarding the Guarantee not state this?
    2. Why is there no where else on the website that states this?
    3. Why were THREE of my emails never responded to?

    4. Why couldn't someone, via email response, simply correct me on the right method of contact?

    While I don't really know if I was maliciously ignored during the refund window, I *do* believe this last statement from the representative is a lie. I am grateful we were able to process the refund, but it was very unfortunate that it was as difficult as it was, and that I had to be spoken to in such an uncalled for, condescending manner by the representative who processed the refund. So buyer; I love our couch, but if you need help from Customer Service, I wish you the best of luck! I am grateful for the representatives that tried very hard (mostly from the Customer Service side of “contact us”), and wish others’ didn’t just point to “policy” and ignore that there’s a problem (Internet Sales side).

    I purchased 2 recliners in December. By January the foot area was wearing and fabric was piling. Called and after hours of on hold time was given an appointment in early March. They blew me off saying they called to reschedule which they never did. Hours more of on hold New appointment end of March. After the inspection I received call and was told it is normal wear and tear and they will do nothing. This is same on both chairs and chairs were only a month old when process started. Also I paid for extended warranty. Throughout the conversation I was told it was because of dirty feel. Please I and my husband are grown people. I will continue to pay for a product that is inferior. Also they should stop using Covid as an excuse and just hire some employees back. Total waste.

    Disastrous Delivery and Customer Service Experience:

    1) I purchased $7,000 worth of furniture from Rooms to Go this year. The pieces that have arrived so far seem fine and are as expected. That is the good news. The awful experience was with delivery and customer service follow up and knowledge of the customer service agents.

    2) Issues with the first delivery:

    a. Delivery staff arrived and entered my home with no masks. They complied when I asked them to wear masks. CS says RTG policy is that delivery staff wear masks.

    b. During installation, the china cabinet was discovered to have a shattered mirror. Accidents happen, so we’ll not blame anyone for that but given everything else, I wonder…

    c. The delivery lead said he would write up the damaged item and that the piece would be delivered.

    • Meanwhile, they left the damaged item in my home because they did not have room on the truck to take it away.

    • Since this was being written up as damaged, I expected to receive follow up from RTG about delivery of the replacement. I did not.

    • I finally had to break through their customer service line (average of 45 minutes to an hour hold time or if you do the online chat, perpetually disconnected in the middle of trying to resolve your issues).

    • I was told by the CS agent that it was my responsibility as the customer to report the damage and to request redelivery. I asked how I would know this as no one gave me a paper to sign or instructions on how I was to follow up. I was told this is an “industry standard.” I suggested that RTG should have a flyer or instructions to hand to customers if they are expected to do the follow up. The was met with silence.

    d. After the delivery crew left, I discovered that the plastic covering was still on all 6 dining chair seats and bench. The only way to get the plastic totally removed and not visible is to take off each chair seat with an allen wrench and then reassemble. I did an online chat with RTG and reported that I needed the chairs unassembled and reassembled when the replacement for the damaged piece was delivered. A CS agent named Hunter said yes that could be done and that is was in the notes for the crew to do so. A transcript is attached. See below how that turned out in the second delivery…!

    e. After the delivery, I went to put something in my trash can, only to find that the entire can had been filled up with bubble wrap from the delivery. My neighborhood has a single required trash can for the automated garbage truck that comes once a week, so I have no additional trash cans. No place for my garbage to go that week! However, since it was all clean bubble wrap that I can’t conscience putting into a landfill, I removed the bubble wrap from the trashcan and am requesting that RTG come and take it, given that they tout an award-winning recycling program: https://www.roomstogo.com/customer-service/recycling. We’ll see how that works out…

    f. The delivery crew ran over my grass. Photo attached. Again, accidents happen but combined, it’s a lot to swallow.

    3) Issues with the second delivery (replacement of the damaged item):

    a. Delivery crew arrived with masks – yay! Result of my prior complaint or just doing the right thing and abiding by the policy?

    b. Delivery crew noted that the installation by the first crew likely caused the damage.

    c. All went well with the replacement piece.

    d. I was asked to sign that the delivery was completed. I said, “Are you aware there is another task in this delivery—the removal of the chair seats to remove the plastic and reinstall the seats? Is that in your notes?” Response, "Oh no ma’am. We don’t do that—that requires a RTG tech." They called their dispatcher who agreed and said they would request a customer service call back about that issue. Still waiting…

    e. I did an online chat after the delivery and asked if there was a record of my chat with Hunter and that the delivery people said Hunter was incorrect and I asked who was right, Hunter or the delivery people? The agent did not have a record of my chat with Hunter and asked “what plastic?” I was going to have to explain the entire scenario from scratch. But then, our chat was “disconnected.”

    f. I started all over again with a new chat and got someone who said a tech would come to do the chairs. I guess Hunter was the one who was incorrect.

    g. But… there was a second issues. As I was about to put items into the new china cabinet, I saw a bright yellow safety tag that said that an anti-tip kit was “required” to keep the china cabinet from tipping over. I found the kit attached to the back of the china cabinet.

    h. I started an online chat to find out whether the delivery team was supposed to have installed the anti-tip kit. The agent said he did not show I had purchased an anti-tip kit. I said the kit is here in my hand. It was attached to the cabinet. Were they supposed to install it? My chat was then "disconnected."

    I. I waited an hour for a phone agent named Jennifer who said she had worked for RTG for a long time and had never heard of an anti-tip kit. She came back after a hold and said I could order one. I said I don’t need to order one—as I’ve explained it’s right here. Is this supposed to be installed at delivery? She said it was my responsibility. Given that she had never heard of an anti-tip kit and didn’t seem familiar, and given previous incorrect information from RTG CS agents, I asked for a call back from a CS manager to confirm that it is my responsibility (even though it is included with the piece of furniture and has a warning label saying it is “required.”). Still waiting…

    I have probably spent more than 10 hours of my time trying to deal with my customer service issues. No one seems to know what end is up and they point the finger at another part of the organization. It’s an exhausting customer service experience and one that I will not enter into again.

    Ordered a twin bed online and had to wait months because of covid. On date of delivery bed was not delivered nor was anyone called. They claimed to have left a msg but nothing on vm. Called the company to set up another delivery time and the girl asked my name. Like most companies I gave the name of the person who made the order and then she asked account holder's name and I gave her my name since the bed was purchased as a gift. The rep told me I gave the wrong name even though I'm the one who purchased it and would not help me any further. Spoke with a supervisor who would also was of no assistance. I get identity theft but if I have all the info this is unacceptable. Very disappointed then they canceled the order. Tried to speak with multiple people which was a complete waste of time.

    What can I say about Rooms To Go? DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT spend your hard-earned money here. This place has a history of messing up people's orders across the entire country. I ordered a bed set, and they informed me that it will take a week and a half to get someone out to assemble. That was fine, as I wasn't working remotely at that time. The day they showed up, they assembled the dresser, but they informed me that they were missing screws. They stated they could not perform the rest of the already paid-for service.

    They told me to reschedule and call customer service so they can send in the missing screws. I spent nearly 3 hours waiting for customer service to answer the phone until I was able to get a date to reschedule. The earliest date they had was when I was scheduled to work remotely. UNACCEPTABLE. I spent a month and counting sleeping in a "construction site" of a room waiting for the assemblers to get their stuff together. On top of that, I spent more time on the phone waiting for customer service, because THEY SENT ME THE WRONG SCREWS.

    Did not realize it until I looked in one of the boxes that the movers NEVER opened, and found the screws they sent in RIGHT THERE. This company is unorganized, and other reviews prove it as well. Rooms-to-go will never make this right because their return policy is NOT consumer-friendly. If you are thinking of buying from them, JUST DON'T. Take the date of this review and every other into consideration before you spend your hard-earned money on garbage products, with GARBAGE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

    I got my mattress from a local mattress store, and from that experience alone with many others, I will only shop at small, local, mom-and-pop shops. They will save you a lot of hassle. They CARE and have better return policies than Rooms-To-Go. More money but you are paying for things to get done right the FIRST time. Not the Fourth and Fifth.

    I thought I was going to save a few dollars by choosing Rooms To Go. I normally shop at Gallery Furniture. I found better prices at Rooms To Go, and they extended 0% credit to me, which made it easier to make my decision. It has been a horrible nightmare ever since! I placed several orders with them. All of the orders were back ordered, most were a few weeks, but some were back ordered by 2 months! On one of the orders was a living room set, I had to wait 5 weeks for delivery, and in the meantime while waiting I found other end tables that were a better fit for the living room. I decided to call them and cancel only the end tables. I am still trying to reach someone to cancel these tables. I have been trying to reach someone in their customer service for 3 days! They don't pick up the phone at all! I sit and wait for over an hour at a time.

    On one of the orders they left at the front of my house by the garage. The box was extremely heavy and I couldn't even slide it into the garage, much less into my house! If I had known they would ship it like this, I would have paid for assembly! I am scared that my living room will be shipped the same way. This is totally unacceptable! I wished that I had never ordered from them before!!! I deeply regret it and would rather pay Gallery Furniture a few dollars more and get better service and get my furniture the same day! I won't have back back order slips!!!! Mattress Mack definitely knows what he is doing! I don't know how Rooms To Go will remain doing business in this manner! I know I won't be a returning customer!

    I purchased a new couch. When it was delivered found that three out of the four back panels were crushed. They brought out another couch a week later. This time only one panel was crushed. Requested that they come again with a couch with all back panels intact. They came a third time. This time all four back panels were crushed. I could never reach customer service because wait times were 45 minutes to an hour or more. I don't know because they never answered and I could never give more time than that sitting on hold so regret giving them $1,100 for something I could have got at Goodwill.

    We have ordered entire rooms from Rooms to Go three times in store, and various pieces of furniture twice online. The first three full room deliveries were great. The first couple of Rooms to Go online orders were great as well. The last one was questionable. As you can see, I clearly have had no issue with Rooms to Go furniture, and the furniture I have now is great, no issues! It's the delivery itself that leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

    All three delivery drivers did not have a mask, no COVID precautions taken, and they unboxed all of the furniture inside of my house and left scraps on the floor. The first man said they were just trying to get the day over with, and it was obvious. They were missing pieces to put on the feet of the loveseat we purchased and all three struggled to figure out what to do. I think they took some bolts and nuts from another furniture set inside of the truck but I can't confirm that.

    They didn't seem like they enjoyed their job and again I've used them plenty before and I could have just gotten a bad batch of drivers. But I was more so amazed at the complete lack of COVID procedures taken. I mean literally nothing. This last delivery a week ago was as if it were happening in 2018. I've had deliveries in March 2020 and around May 2020 and the experience was different for sure. With that said, I won't let them just deliver to my door, as others have said sometimes there can be issues with the furniture, and that's something I want to make sure to address with the people delivering it if there are issues.

    I will never be purchasing from Rooms To Go again. Their customer service is horrible. I wait hours and no one answers, I wait for their call back system and no one calls back. I ordered a brand new $2000 couch back in November of 2020 and had to have it replaced three times already due to the lack of care and quality of their furniture, it came damaged every time. It's now March of 2021. I asked this time for their customer service to just come to pick up the couch instead of coming to fix it for the fourth time and they are refusing to do so. I do not have time each month to deal with Rooms To Go, who knew buying a couch would be so horrible and stressful. Stay away from rooms to go! On top of all this mess, my billing has been incorrect since we ordered the couch in November. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!

I was advised that they have the chair in the showroom to view. It was an almost 2 hour drive to the store from where I live.     Hello, from the Round Rock Austin store, I bought the patio furniture set (worth $3000) and the items were delivered on time, only to find that more than 60% of the items delivered were wrong. Some items were missing in the delivery and some wrong items were delivered. The follow up experience with the store has been outstandingly bad. The agent (Nick **) that helped us place the order made all the flamboyant promises that he'd be able to correct everything but was not of any help. Only I got was confident promises that things would be set right (and I don't have to worry) only to realize that nothing happens after that.

    Customer care is relatively better but the wait times are really long. Had to wait more more than an hour many a times to get through to an agent. It's been more than a month that I placed the order and paid the money upfront and still now problem is not resolved fully. Back pillows are missing from the patio set still and don't know when I'd be getting those. Very bad service.

    We had ordered a sleeper sofa from there before and were very happy. When it came time to replace it, we once again went to Rooms To Go. After settling on what's available and within our budget, we picked a sleeper and it was delivered 2 weeks later. When we opened it up, we noticed the bar at the head of the bed was bent slightly down. Nothing seemed damaged and we figured it was designed that way. It slowly, and I mean so slow you aren't sure if your eyes are playing tricks on you slow, bent more and more until in the middle of the night it snapped and bent at a 90 degree angle. We couldn't get it to fold shut and when we checked we saw the hinges had actually broke on both sides. The metal hinges had broke!

    I have tried emailing multiple times and gotten no response, only a ticket was opened and they pride themselves on customer service. After reading other reviews, I'm worried calling won't help either. We paid nearly double the price of a regular couch and now that's all we can use it for. So basically, it's an over priced, not that comfortable couch.

    Went to Rooms to Go and purchased a sofa back on 2/5/2021. They had the item in stock but could not deliver it until 2/17/2021. Having just moved in recently and sitting on a beanbag for a couple of weeks, didn't want to wait that long, but found that was about the quickest that any furniture store was delivering. The day finally arrives and I arrange to take off the day. They gave me a four hour window from 1-5. Around 3:30 they send me a text saying they are 9 minutes away. Then I get a call from their delivery department saying that the truck is too big. They refuse to deliver and say I have to reschedule.

    They transfer me to customer service line. Wait and then chose to have them call back since no one was picking up. Their call back feature told me my number was invalid. Had to call back and wait again. After a while, I drove back to the store while still on hold and went into the store to speak with the manager. He said that the truck they were delivering on was an 18 wheeler size truck. Why would they try to deliver to neighborhoods using such a large truck? He went to get it rescheduled. After waiting another 15 minutes he came back and said that they could not deliver it for another week.

    I told them to just refund my money and they said that will take another 48 hours to do so. It didn't take that long to take my money. This is just bad business. They should hire some more delivery guys. I will never buy any more furniture from Rooms to Go. I will also be spreading the word to everyone I know of my bad experience and their incompetence. Don't waste your time.

    I was drawn in by their great prices and financing as many others. I find myself in the same position as many other customers providing reviews now. I have a product issue and RTG customer service is impossible to deal with in getting a replacement based on the warranty. We've had numerous appointments scheduled for a replacement piece and the delivery has never shown. When we call, after holding for anywhere from 45 to 75 minutes each time, Customer Service tells us the driver did show and we weren't home - so basically they call their customers liars. We've done this dance about 5 times now. I'm on the phone again today as they were supposed to send a technician on 2/5 as they didn't want to actually replace the piece this time around!! Of course, the technician never showed. So, I'm on hold - literally 1 hour and 20 minutes on hold to demand a new box spring. Now, mind you, the box spring was purchased in June 2020.

    If you can, shop around. The way RTG will treat you is not worth it. Other companies offer good financing and are willing to negotiate to take RTG business. RTG needs to start losing business for the way they treat their customers, and for selling such a shoddy product. Read the other reviews. This is a common complaint. It just isn't worth it. DON'T MAKE OUR MISTAKE - SAVE YOURSELF!

    We purchased a queen bedroom set and mattresses from Rooms to Go in November as my daughter's Christmas present. (She had been sleeping in her convertible crib!) We made full payment at the time of purchase. We were told the mattresses, bed, and nightstand would be delivered about two weeks later and that the dresser and mirror would be delivered in early March. At that point, I was very hesitant to order something that would take five months to deliver, but my daughter really wanted the set. The bed, nightstand, and the box springs were delivered on time. The "in stock" mattresses were not in stock when the delivery was made and came a few weeks later. The bedframe had a slight defect, so the store indicated that it would be replaced when we received the dresser and mirror.

    A week or so ago I got a call from the Rooms to Go warehouse that our dresser and mirror would not be delivered until June 4th. We are supposed to be returning on vacation on that day, so I need to call and reschedule. Who knows if the headboard will be replaced. I called and spoke to our salesperson. She said we could return what we have and select something else, but nothing similar is in stock. So, we paid $3k for furniture that hasn't been received, and customer service that is almost impossible to reach.

    At this point, I want to demand a refund and start over, but my thirteen year old daughter loves the miserable bedroom set. We would go look for another set at the store, but we are expecting a historic ice storm in Houston. What I want is a refund for what I haven't received until we actually receive the furniture. It is completely unacceptable to pay for something that will not be delivered as promised. We paid in November. We are going to receive this furniture EIGHT MONTHS LATER at best! I have noticed that the company's ads have started saying that delivery may be 2-4 months out. Buyer beware. Delivery is probably going to take much, much longer than that.

    I purchased a chair for a handicapped, ailing family member who resides in New Orleans on September 30th. 5 months later and I still do not have the lift chair that was ordered for her, nor do I have the promised credit back on my card. The initial lift chair that was ordered was too small, so we elected to exchange the lift chair for a larger lift chair. 2 wrong lift chair deliveries later and numerous visits to the store to pay more for the larger chair and I still have no closure!

    I will share the CSR who worked with me was phenomenal and is well deserving of a kudos - Chris did everything in his power to be helpful and honest throughout this process. However, a call from a store manager who stated her name was Erica - who happened to be rude and as nonprofessional as they come. Erica stated she "had no one over her" as far as who I could talk with about my credit or this dreadful experience. (On a side note of being petty at this point Jeffrey Seaman is the CEO - not you Erica, so there is someone above you!)

    I am urging anyone who has intentions to make a furniture purchase in the future to NOT shop at Rooms to Go. I was advised that Rooms to Go was a terrible place to make a furniture purchase, I went against the recommendations and made the purchase anyway. I should have heeded the advice I was given. Most people who know me are very aware of me not only being a person of my word but the utmost professional - attached are the receipts of the transactions dated from 9/30/2020 to TODAY, February 11th. And to top it all off, my relative who the chair was purchased for just got out of the hospital last week and is in dire need of this chair????

    We surprised our daughter with a bunk bed from Rooms to Go. We waited until the night before to tell her only to have her completely disappointed when they could not install it because they were missing a piece. They left all of the pieces scattered all over her bedroom and she is sleeping on a mattress on the floor for over a week while we wait for them to bring the missing piece and put it together. You cannot reach anyone on the phone in the customer care center or online chat. The manager at the store does not care and was a complete jerk.

    We went in to store and October 2020. We purchased the Orsini sofa and loveseat with electric reclining. With the package we also received a Cindy Crawford endtables and a sofa table. Sofa and loveseat are delivered within a couple of weeks. End tables were delivered in December. The sofa table was to be delivered the end of January.

    The first week in January one of the reclining mechanisms, on the sofa, broke. It took three days to actually get a response from someone to get a service call scheduled. The sofa table was delivered about a week or so later. We had door delivery, so it arrived in a box. Once opened it was damaged on one side (corners were crushed and scratched). It took 3 weeks (1/29) for a service guy to come and look at the sofa. Yesterday (2/5) I received a phone call telling me my new sofa table would be delivered 3/11. The replacement piece for the sofa has been ordered and will be delivered to me!! This means I have to take another 3 days to get the appt scheduled. I hope this will all be resolved as planned, but I will never shop at Rooms To Go again.

    Huge sign at entrance, "Pick a room. Take a 70in TV free," well not the case. The sign doesn’t say on selected rooms or selected merchandise. It has to be a purchase of minimum 1999.99, well purchase was more than double that. But turns out the room I picked didn’t qualify according to store manager. He said (Víctor ** store manager) that was by corporate. We both read the fine print and it doesn’t say on selected. Just pick a room over 1999.99. Nothing he could do. He even had me wait 3 days to get an answer from corporate. Or he said. I called corporate and I’m told the manager of each showroom handles that kind of situations not them. So they are just giving the customer the runaround for their misleading promotions, false promotions.

    After reading the other online reviews I was very afraid to purchase the furniture I fell in love with at Rooms to Go. Because of how much I liked it and the price point I decided to take a chance. My experience in the showroom was usually positive but from reading reviews I was very concerned with whether or not I would get what I expected. My furniture was delivered today and everything was exactly as expected. The delivery was on time and came in the timeframe I was originally promised unlike other furniture that I expected to get in December and I will possibly get in March.

    The delivery people brought it in without damaging anything and put it inside respectfully and told me where I could find all of the pieces to assemble it. Assembly was easy even for a novice like me. I could see where someone very particular might think the furniture is imperfect in a few ways but I am very satisfied with the quality and appearance. I plan to write another review after I see how the furniture holds up over time but for now I am a very happy customer and would recommend rooms to go.

    We ordered dresser and mirror for Belmar kids bedroom set that we already had purchased few years back from Rooms To Go, wanted to add-on dresser and mirror to our set. Alpharetta GA, store salesperson sold us different brand mirror by assuring us it will fit/match with Belmar dresser, but it's been 2 times delivered from December 2020, with wrong size and other time delivery person got us broken mirror, when we visited store, store manager was really rude and asked us to contact customer care to cancel/refund or other issue, I have been dialing customer care number regularly after staying hours, it will always automatically end up saying there is system issue, call back later, horrible customer service, we would never recommend Rooms to go products for their poor customer service and they keep discontinuing furniture brands, hope this review help others.

    I love Rooms to Go, always order my furniture from there. In this instance, furniture was damaged and wrong box springs. I cannot get customer service to respond to me since November. Using their chat I have been disconnected on. I spent just shy of 10g on furniture and should get it replaced if wrong and damaged. Very disappointed.

    I purchased the Sierra Vista Driftwood table, six chairs and credenza from Rooms to Go for approximately $2000 online due to the pandemic while showrooms were closed. Delivery was timely and professional. I hardly use the table since it is in a formal dining area. I noticed after Thanksgiving that there were some heavy scratches to the table. My children are grown and normal wear and use of a table should not have generated such visible damage to the table. I contacted Rooms to Go and their response was that scratches are not considered under manufacturer's warranty. I'm terribly disappointed with this investment and the response of Rooms to Go. I would not recommend the product or the store.

    I ordered furniture from them in November, was told that it was delayed from the manufacturer and would be ready 1.18.21. 1.16.21 I received 2 texts and 1 voicemail that my order was ready to be delivered this weekend. 1.17.21 I received a phone call telling me half my couch is delayed from the manufacturer. Now they're saying it won't be available until 2.9.21. Now I'm hearing from people that they've had to wait 6 months for their furniture. Stop selling something you don't have.

    My wife and I have a second home in Miramar Beach FL. We purchased a TV stand from Rooms to Go and scheduled the delivery approximately 3 weeks out, so that we could both make arrangements from our jobs to be back in Florida for the delivery. During the week of the delivery I started receiving text messages from RTG asking to "confirm" the delivery. I confirmed the delivery, via SMS all 3 times. Later, I received a phone call asking if we still wanted to confirm the delivery. I verbally confirmed the order, and they sent me a text message giving the date of delivery, and a scheduled time of the delivery of between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

    On the date of the delivery, they called at 12:20 PM and said that they would arrive sometime between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. I told them this was unacceptable, and we had been waiting for almost 4 hours. They said it was out of their control! I told them that we had other things to do, and asked if they could call me 30 minutes before arrival so my wife and I could take care of other things while we were waiting. RTG stated "YES", they would call 30 minutes out. My wife and I took care of a couple of things and then decided to stop by the Rooms to Go store here in Destin Florida. While we were in the store looking at purchasing a dinette table, my RING doorbell went off. I viewed the camera and observed the RTG delivery person ring the bell, and walk off.

    My wife called a neighbor who was able to stop them before they drove off. I was attempting to call RTG the entire time and could not reach a person. (Here's where the FUN starts:) After unboxing the TV Stand, I noticed that one of the legs was split. Then I noticed that neither door would close completely, and both had gaps between the door and the frame. Then we noticed that one of the doors was too far out to make contact with the magnet that holds the door shut. I immediately called the store and told them about the damage. They said they would have someone contact me.

    Approximately 20 minutes later, my wife reached someone that said they would order us another one. I got on the phone and asked if we could take this one back to the store and swap it out. I was told they didn't have another one. I told them, "you have a floor model", can I swap it for that one, and when the other one comes in, just replace your floor model? I was told NO, we can't do that! I explained to them that I was in Law Enforcement, and that I had to leave in 2 days to be back at work. They said they would see if they could get one to us before we had to leave. We then drove back to the store so we could speak to someone face to face. Upon arrival, I asked to speak to the manager.

    They said the manager was on the phone and would be with us shortly. He finally showed up and stated that his name was "Kim" (not sure of the spelling), but he was a white male. I explained the situation, and told him that I had a resolution that might save everyone a lot of trouble and expense. I then told him that we were looking to purchase a dinette table, and possibly a few other things (since we were remodeling), and if we just kept the TV Stand could he just take a $100-$150 off of one of the other items we were looking at. He explicitly said "NO", I dont have that authority!

    I explained to him that it was going to cost A LOT more to have another TV Stand ordered, and delivered, since they would have to pay for the gas, and the salary of two delivery persons. He once again said "NO, I CAN'T DO THAT". I told him that they had other items throughout the store that had been discounted, and couldn't he call someone to ask. He once again said "NO"! I then asked, does YOUR MANAGER know that you are potentially losing thousands of dollars in us purchasing other furniture over a lousy $150.00? He said it didn't matter! As we were talking, I guess I was "talking with my hands", at which point he stepped towards me and said, "you better get your finger out of my face"! I asked, "what are you going to do"?

    We both stood there for a short time with my wife looking on in horror at what had just developed over a cheap piece of broken furniture. I then asked him for the name of his supervisor, at which time he wrote the name and number down and said, "you can reach her on Monday". I told him to have a good weekend (sarcastically), and left the store. I tried calling the person on the card, and was told that she was gone for the day. I asked if they could reach her on her cell phone and give me a call? They said "yes", I will have her call you. At this point in time, I have still not heard back from anyone.

    Please DO NOT EVER buy anything from ROOMS TO GO. Please look at ALL of the other Negative Reviews, and believe them!!! They could give a damn about you as a customer! I have NEVER seen a company that doesn't try and resolve a complaint when they are the ones clearly at fault... Absolutely RIDICULOUS!!!

    We purchased a $1,900.00 Cindy Crawford living room set. They sold me on a 3 year warranty, told me it covered everything from manufacturer defects to spills and stains on fabric. That was not accurate. One year and three months after purchase our fabric had severe pilling and the right side of the internal frame tore through the fabric on the bottom and fell out of the couch. When I contacted Rooms to Go which took them 2 weeks to call me back after I waited multiple times on hold 25-50 minutes at a time and left my number on their call back service to no avail. I was given another place to call, Fortegra for my warranty. Took 2 months for them to come out and check my couch, when they did they said it needed to be replaced due to frame issue.

    Scheduled me a pick up date 6 weeks later then picked it up and said there was a misunderstanding. They would not be replacing the couch. They would be repairing it. It is bowed and broken. They will literally have to completely rebuild the inside of the couch and since the warranty doesn’t actually cover the fabric but for 12 months, they will put the severely pilling fabric back on the rebuilt frame and give it back to us. Hopefully in a couple of weeks. This is ridiculous, they are not standing behind the warranty, they sold it to me under false pretenses. They are not tending to customer service issues. Today I waited 1 hour and 17 minutes with no answer. The furniture it too expensive to be such poor quality. I would not buy from them.

    I purchase a split king adjustable mattress and base. It was delivered November 13, 2020. This bed is the worst bed I have ever slept on in my life. The mattresses wouldn't stay close together and it caused a gap in the bed and while I'm sleep I roll over in the gap. This cause me to presently have hip problems. I contacted the store in Conyers GA where I purchased it from and was told I had to keep it for 30 days then come into the store and lay on other mattresses and choose another one on the 30th day.

    I went into the store, pick out another mattress and had to pay $499.00 more, they delivered my new mattress December 30, 2020 and didn't bring the cord that makes the mattress operate, the deliverer said they would send a technician out, a week go by I don't hear nothing from Rooms To Go. I called the store. The manager said he will have the cord expedited for me to get it, another week go by I called the store again and this time I spoke to a different manager. I explained to him about my experience and he said nobody told me to come buy the mattress and he hung up on me.

    I called the store back 3 times. They answer and told me to hold on. The 3rd time I said, "No. I'm not holding on anymore. What is the manager name there?" The lady said Sonny. When he hung up on me he pissed/hurt me so bad all I could do was cry thinking about all the money I been spending with them. Bed delivered December 30. The cord came Saturday and they gave me a appointment for them to come out January 30th which is sooo very very sad and they want give me my money back. I just purchased a house and was furnishing my entire house with Rooms To Go but never will I purchase anything else.

    We started buying furniture from Rooms to Go in Austin and we were very satisfied. We liked everything we bought and, most importantly, they were delivered on time. In Houston, none of the items were delivered on time. It takes months to get them delivered and then, few days before the 'great day', they call to say the item is out of stock. So, we go again to choose a new one. After waiting eagerly for it to arrive, it turns out to be of different design and fabric. When we went to complain at Rooms to Go, they told us, "Go home and we'll call you tomorrow." That never happened. And if we try calling, it takes hours. This situation has become unbearable.

    In March 2020, I purchased a reclining sofa set from Rooms to Go and in less than a year, the frame is falling apart. I tried to call and get in contact with customer service but was on hold forever. I decided it would probably be faster to send an email. A week later they get in contact with me and said they would send out a repairman. The repairman came out and said that he could not fix it and that the company would replace it since it is within a year of purchase.

    So today, I received a call from someone who said that they were from corporate. She stated that they would come out and pick up my sofa for repair. She also stated that the repair would take up to 10 business days. I asked, “what am I supposed to do in the meantime?” She stated that they did not have “loaner” furniture. I told her that I did not want “loaner” furniture. I want a replacement. She stated that replacements were at the company’s discretion. I asked to speak to a supervisor. She said that a supervisor would say that same thing. I advised her that I wanted to speak to one anyway. She said I should receive a call with 48 business hours. Wow!?! Long story short. Do not buy from Rooms to Go if you can help it. They have low quality furniture and terrible customer service. Like they say, buy cheap, buy twice...and they are not even that cheap.

    Waited 4 hours on a Saturday for a delivery. After waiting I got a phone call that they are going to be late and outside the 4 hour window. I could not wait any longer and asked to make arrangements for a new delivery date. Waited 2 hours on hold.     I had an order delivered last week. The gentleman delivering stated that all the boxes were there, however, his app was not working for me to check and sign off. That night when we went to put the bed together for my daughter, we noted that the TOP and BOTTOM BED RAILS were missing. I called the very next morning and the lady I spoke with stated she was trying to get an order in but was unsuccessful. I have called for a week straight now and have gotten no answer nor a call back. My daughter has been sleeping on the couch and her room has been a mess due to this issue. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a furniture company, the response time of the customer service team is basically nonexistent and I am not sure if I will ever purchase from Rooms to Go again now.

    Purchased an entire living room suit, rug, lamps, sofa, loveseat. After taking months to get here, coffee table had a piece of wood missing so trucker driver said Cust Svc would call us to replace. We had to call them. 45 and 50 minute hold times on phones. Finally got a call to them answered and they had to send a tech out to look at the wood who then said RTG would send replacement in another month. While waiting, 1 of the lamps stopped working. Another tech came out who said, "Yeah, it's not working and RTG will replace." Still waiting on that replacement. One month later, the rug is having yarn pieces just fall out all over the place.

    Another call to customer service, and another tech scheduled to come out. Their furniture is NOT well made and you spend forever trying to get items replaced. After just 2 months, I know I am taking a huge loss on this furniture - it's not going to last a year. Reporting to the Better Business Bureau. Read all the fine print - no refunds for any reason. My fault for not researching better but never ever again will I buy from Rooms to go.

    Extremely poor customer service. They messed up on an order I placed which had a month long wait for delivery. On the day of delivery I called to check on the delivery time. After waiting on the phone line for an hour and 15 mins I was told the order was never put on the delivery schedule. The earliest date was a month later... Yes another month wait! Totally unacceptable! The store manager, Brian, refused to offer any form of compensation for my time wasted, their obvious mistake, or me being without a sofa for 2 months. I have never seen such poor customer service. Do not shop there. Rooms To Go has a lot to learn about pleasing the customer and providing an excellent customer experience.

    Rooms to Go advertises that if you buy a mattress and pay for the delivery they would take a way old mattress at no additional charge. The website says 'We do not offer removal of existing furniture items, however, we do offer mattress removal with the purchase of a new mattress. As long as the mattress you are replacing is not heavily soiled, we are able to remove it at no additional charge.' Our mattress had stain on it but was not heavily soiled. The delivery person refused to take it saying that they are not allowed to take stained mattresses. This contradicts what rooms to go is promoting on their website. Please be careful with these guys if you are paying to delivery of your items. Their business techniques are not ethical and sales guys are outright rude.

    Bought a couch and love seat in 08/2019. Took months for it to arrive. Within 6 months, it was falling apart internally - took a month for technician to come out. Deemed it was defective spring assembly. Had to order a new (different) couch. Chose a sectional and paid $1000 more - hoping it was better quality. Wrong. Within a month, new couch doing same thing. Took a month for them to send technician then called the day before and said there was no technician to send and said we could get it replaced - in TWO MONTHS. Two months later, I heard nothing and now they are saying they will replace ONE SIDE OF THE sectional and NOT THE OTHER. EVERY TIME I call, it is over an hour wait. This company makes JUNK and does not stand by their product. I have never heard of such poor service. DO NOT BUY their furniture.

    I am reasonable, ethical and honest. In short, I’ll state the facts.

    1. Dealing with the store in Raleigh was good. They do try to help as much as possible. Thank you.
    2. Dealing with actual delivery and post sales was horrible. Multiple times the furniture was problematic. Either damaged or the finish was defective or worse, refinished/resprayed and NOT dry!!! That is what they attempted to handoff to me.

    3. No matter how wrong they are with the defective state of the furniture, RTG will NOT accept it back for a full refund. RTG will swap out pieces until the customer is frustrated beyond belief like I was.

    Resolution: My wife and I gave in for a partial refund. Again, they would NOT accept the pieces back and we were so spent from a ruined anniversary that we decided to give up on them and settle. The store itself is fine, good people. The problem is after the sale and delivery. It’s just not worth the risk ever again. Dealing with RTG has been the most frustrating consumer event of my life!

    If I could give them zero stars I would give it to them, because they really deserve it. The first time my husband and I bought a dining room, I got a broken chair, the wrong bench, and some other defects, then we bought a bedroom set, the chest came with a broken leg, the dresser and part of the bed scratched, they really don't have quality, they last a lot to do the deliveries and if you have to change something you have to wait almost a month to change it, the worst experience, I do not recommend them at all.

    Two of our dining room chairs had to be replaced. They were scheduled to replace between 12-4 pm. Got a text at 12:30 stating they would be here in 50 minutes. Never showed and never heard from them. Have left several messages for manager and never receive a call. Wife has left several messages for manager without a return call. Their customer service line has you on hold for over and hour so final tried the callback option. Suppose to call back in 15 minutes. Never got a callback. If you want poor quality furniture with no follow up and no customer service, then this is the place for you.

    I purchased sectional sofa with Rooms to Go. They delivered and damaged my wooden floor and saying they didn’t do it. I noticed and showed to them on the same time when they assembled my furniture, but they lied to the customer support team that they didn’t do this at all. Rooms to Go also support them and after many visit to the store and customer care discussion they simply said, "We cannot do anything." Delivery guys are so reckless and don’t care about the furniture at all. I won't buy anything with Rooms to Go anymore and also tell my friends & neighbors not to buy anything at all because of delivery and customer service.

    Jennifer ** has great customer service. That's the only good thing I can say. Bad quality furniture. Poor customer service. Poor management. 3 matching tables set did not match. 3 different deliveries had to be sent back bc of multiple missing parts. Was informed that the truck was loaded backwards on everyone of our deliveries. Entertainment center is a not put together. They left a bag with all the screws in it on the back of the entertainment center. The tech can't come out to fix it for a month bc they are too busy. Multiple phone calls we made by me and my husband and we were talked to poorly. Please don't waste your time and hard earned money on a business that cannot provide the basics such as good customer service and giving you quality furniture. Don't waste your time here at all.

    When a process starts well and turns horribly wrong...you would just expect someone to step up and follow through with their statements. I'm writing this review as I have now been on hold with the store for over 20 minutes without speaking with someone. We ordered a sectional and waited several weeks for delivery, which we understood completely. The delivery finally came last Saturday and the delivery team never even took it off the truck. They first complained about having to walk it up the driveway hill. Then, they stated they would not be able to fit it through the front door - without ever even trying. Again, the sectional was never even taken off the truck.

    We called, then went to the store the following afternoon and were reassured by both the manager, Brian, and our sales associate, Julius, that all was okay and we could pick something else out. He took the order and assured us he would follow up on Monday with the updated order and change....Brian had told us we would still have to wait multiple weeks for delivery, but could get it by December 10th or 11th. Julius contradicted this and said it would be December 15th. Again, we did not argue because we know it's a busy time of year. I've now been on hold for over 23 minutes....and while I am waiting to speak with Brian or someone else at the store, we are also still waiting to hear the updated order confirmation from Brian or Julius. It was promised for Monday...it's Friday.

    At what point does this company actually make things right for their customers? I finally spoke to someone after waiting over 28 minutes! They offered ZERO compensation or expedited delivery or anything to help make up for this horrible experience and taking multiple days off work to sit and wait on a delivery that I pray actually happens this time. This is the reason I never should have shopped at one of these stores. I shop locally for nearly everything, but I didn’t do it this time. I certainly will never shop here again and will encourage others to avoid this place. Which is truly unfortunate because I’m not “that guy” in these situations. I give you every opportunity to do right by those who give you their business. Is it true that these larger companies simply don’t care about individuals? I’ll be pondering that for quite a while.

    Nightmare from the first day we walked in. Sales lady annoying almost like a stalker. Finally found a sectional pillows rug artwork. All pieces came a different times so dye lot didn’t match. Pillows didn’t match. The delivery man carried furniture alone on his back and almost broke my patio lights. Try calling them after with issues. 800 number doesn’t answer. The sales lady missing in action cause she knows what a disgrace this store is. Being billed for items not received. Billing numbers all wrong. If I could go back I would have driven right past this operation of hell. Everything I ordered is being replaced but who knows what will arrive.

    Bought almost $25K worth of furniture from Rooms to Go in 2017 for our new house, including an expensive sectional couch. Grey Color set for living area. Noticed that it started fading or had white spots so tried to reach customer service to have somebody look at it and suggest solution. After 2 unresponsive emails and a 24 minute hold time on a call, finally, a 'specialist' spoke and refused any ownership to the problem. Told me to reach out to any other furniture company in the area that can send people at home to repair!
    1. They Have Lost a Customer in Me, forever.
    2. Making sure everybody else knows about how much they 'care'.

    3. I'll definitely replace the couch with a local business provider that offers Good Quality Products and also stands by it.

    My husband and I purchased a bedroom set (Handly Manor) from Rooms to Go in August of 2020. We chose the dual adjustable beds with dual remotes. We didn't know it would take 2 months for the furniture to be delivered until we completed our transaction. Even though we were disappointed with the delivery time, we accepted. Our furniture finally arrived on October 12, 2020. The movers dropped the dresser at the front door breaking a part from the dresser. (It's all on my Ring doorbell camera.) The head mover picked up the broken part and tossed it out into the yard. When the dresser was finally placed in my bedroom, I waited to see if the movers would mention the broken piece. No they did not, so I told them I saw the piece break off and I wanted that noted.

    When the chest of drawers was brought in, the drawers would not close completely and the chest rocked back and forth when the drawers were opened. The adjustable bed was next. When the movers finished putting the bed together, only one remote worked and it raised and lowered both mattresses. I asked the mover to note all the problems with the furniture and make a report. I'm not sure if it was done, but I called the next day to report the damages. New dresser and chest were ordered, but would not be be available until February 2021. We called to ask about another remote and were told a new remote would be expedited and be at our home the next day. Three days later the remote arrived, and IT DID NOT WORK.

    One week after our bed arrived, it stopped working. Another call was made to corporate. Now we have to wait on a tech which will take a month (November). Tech finally comes out and determines the bed frame is defective. $3999.00 for a bed and it doesn't last a week. Altogether we spent over $7000.00 on furniture and we are having these problems. I will never buy anything from Rooms to Go again. Calling customer service and staying on the phone for 45 minutes listening to horrible music. I am a very dissatisfied customer and I will never recommend this store to anyone. Birmingham, Alabama.

    I am 70 years old. I am not stupid until now. I purchased five rooms of furniture nine years ago from Rooms To Go. All went fine. In October I purchased an entire living room set and it was delivered all three pieces defective! New pieces were delivered to replace and they were defective. I tried for weeks to call customer service leaving my number for a call back. I finally had to drive to the store and the store had to put a work order number in to call me and that took a week. I was told pick something else out because the original was not available. Picked new out just found out a week after ordering will not be available until March.

    I also have a $475.00 credit which they will not refund. I was told they never ever refund you may only have a credit and it is good forever. I have never just handed over money to anyone and asked them to control it and tell me how and where to spend it. This experience is very disturbing and very disappointing. Rooms to Go is displaying such poor customer service and has no concern or value for their customers.

    Purchased supposedly a leather sectional reclining sofa for over $4,000 and the headrest is pealing after 8 months of use. They will not replace. We purchased a leather sectional reclining sofa and spent $4,000. Upon delivery, headrest had seam coming out so they replaced it. The same headrest after 8 months of use is pealing/discolored. The repairman said it should not happen and said we'd receive a new one.

    After no communication, we reached out to find that they denied the manufacturer warranty and said it was normal wear and tear. How can an 8-month-old "leather" sofa have pealing/discoloration? The extended warranty does not cover this due to it being less than a year old. My husband spoke to the manager of the store and the manager stated that it could be hair products that caused this. Really? First of all, this is my husband's chair and he does not use products in his hair. We are finding that no one wants to assist. A leather sofa should not have these issues after 8 months of use. Customer service is not satisfactory.

    We were shopping for a couch at the Rooms to GO Outlet. Everyone was great and friendly. They processed my credit fast also. We selected the couch, which is in good condition to resale, however I feel was close to retail price brand new. They have a 3rd party delivery service which was surprisingly fast. Offered same day delivery that actually was 2 hour delivery. The men were super careful and offered to set it up. The reason I rate them a 4 is because the 3rd party in store credit card had a huge interest rate which doubled in price for the used furniture that was overpriced. We made this purchase as a last minute decision. I feel we would of waited, we could of got new furniture for the same price.

    Inferior furniture Rooms to Go is selling and at astronomical prices! On 09/10/20, we ordered nightstands along with bedroom furniture consisting of a headboard, footboard, sideboards and two lamps. The nightstands were on backorder. On 11/27/20, we received the two nightstands damaged. We refused the items due to damage, poor quality and inferior material used. The bottom of the nightstands are unfinished yellow pine slats glued and nailed together. The company's delivery people (Company) would not take it back. The Company took pictures of the damage, put them in our garage and left.

    The Company told us that we would receive a call from customer service within 20 minutes, which no call was received. We called customer service, held on for 48 minutes and was disconnected. We called the store where we purchased the furniture, told them about the damage, the poor quality and inferior materials used they said that they would not refund but would exchange. An exchange is unacceptable, due to the quality and interior materials used. We have had issues with this whole order! We ordered a matching "brown" headboard, footboard and side boards. When delivered, we received a gray headboard, a white footboard and brown sideboards (have pictures). We called customer service, held on for 28 minutes and was disconnected. We called back, held on for 32 minutes and was disconnected.

    After calling the store where purchased, we finally received a call from customer service and they told us that the brown headboard and footboard were on backorder. We asked why would they send and setup the wrong items and customer service was stumped. The Company also refused to take back the wrong items, took pictures and left. We received a phone call from customer service and they reordered the right items. Received correct items, but noticed after a month that the headboard had a chip in the back. Called customer service, held on for 20 minutes and was disconnected. We were so fed up that we decided just to keep the headboard. We no longer want these nightstand due to their extremely poor quality and inferior materials, which Rooms to Go refuses to refund. These items are sitting in our garage taking up space with no resolution insight.

    I moved into a new property and spent almost $15K at Rooms to Go (and Patio) to buy some new furniture for my home. One of the things I purchased was a dining room table, chairs and bench on 10/17/2020 and was promised a delivery date of 12/01/2020. On 11/30/2020, I received a text message confirming the delivery time period and when 12/01/2020 arrived, I waited excitedly throughout the delivery period for the merchandise to arrive, but it never came. I went online and discovered that the company had changed my delivery date to 01/07/2021 without even communicating with me!

    When I called the store, I was told that they had damaged the product loading it into the truck. I asked them to deliver it in the damaged condition and swap it out when the new product was available, but they refused and made me question the story they gave. I am left without a table which I paid for in full for 2 and a half months - and they offered very little remedy to the situation. I do believe the store's products are good quality and I spent a fair amount of money there, but this level of service is unforgivable.

    We recently bought a sofa from Rooms to Go ($1500) and we purchased an insurance plan with it as well. After about 6 months, we began to notice manufacture damage issues (Warping of both armrests, cracked frame, ripping on the sides of our seat cushions etc.). Good luck if you are trying to call them to create a claim, the phone number will ring for an hour and then hang up on you (we tried over 10 times). Finally we caved and drove 30 minutes to a store so that we could speak with someone in person. Bad start.

    After speaking with a team member, they sent a technician to our home to take a look at the sofa. He said at that time that he could not believe all of the problems we had encountered and that we will definitely be getting a replacement. After about a week, we received a phone call from a very unpleasant woman, stating that the damages to our sofa would not be covered by the company. She let us know that there were too many problems with the sofa (stated above), and that it was our fault. We are just two adults in this house lightly using the furniture and she insisted we were having parties and jumping on it. She also accused us of having bad house etiquette and cleanliness? Great customer service. We will never shop at rooms to go again, and we will absolutely tell anyone to stay far away from them in the future.

    Updated on 11/26/2020: My son buck bed set. It's been over a month and this is what I still have. The delivery/assembly crew, customer service, and corporate representative was horrible. They didn't take no responsibility. It's all the customer fault. So nonchalant, no care for the customer. My son is without a bed. Has had no bed because we decided to purchase his bed from Rooms to Go and give his old bed to someone in need. But for over a month, my son has no bed. And that make a mother pissed????

    Original Review: I order a bunk bed for my son and a month later it's still in pieces. The bed was delivered damaged and wasn't put together because I was told there was no reason to put it together because it would have to be taken down again to be fixed. 4 workers came to fix the bed and still no bed. All the excuses came up on why the bed couldn't be completed. Spoke with the store, customer service, supervisor, and corporate representative and they was so nonchalant, like it didn't matter that my son is without a bed while pieces of the bed he personally picked is all over the floor. And it will be month 2 before they pick up the parts of the bed my son wanted for his bed. Thanks Rooms to Go for letting my son down for his birthday or yeah and not having nowhere to sleep. Please think twice before shopping at Rooms to Go.

    I purchased 7 years ago a dining set from Rooms To Go. It was in my se one home in West Palm Beach FL. The furniture was hardly used. I used one chair to seat at my desk and computer. That is when the cover started to disintegrate. Don't purchase dining chair from Rooms to go. Their replies, "We only guarantee our furniture for 3 years."

    Horrible. Furniture comes with a ONE YEAR WARRANTY. And... let me tell you, that is about how long the furniture lasts! We spent $2000+++ on leather theater seating set with ottoman. I have gone around and around and around with the different departments... and in the end they are of NO HELP. Here's the short version: If you need furniture that lasts only a year, this is where you want to shop. Otherwise, move on. JUNK!

    Rooms To Go should of been my first pick to buy furniture from the start. Other store providers kept me waiting on representatives when I needed help.     JUST GO LOOK AT THEIR COMPLAINTS ON BBB (Better Business Bureau). I spent almost $3k and waited 3 months for this sectional only for them delivering everything incorrectly. The only thing they got right was the chaise in the corner. The armless chair isn't reclining and...as you can see...the main chair for the couch is facing the other way...We waited 3 months and they couldn't even put together 1 full couch correctly. The delivery guy just told me to expect a call at 8am and rushed away. Never got that call by the way. Now they're saying February 2021...AND pay an extra $200 for the reclining armless chair. Just read all their complaints it's ridiculous. Also, NO RETURNS and restocking fee. BEWARE. Choose better. Badcock Furniture is quality. We just did Rooms To Go for the couch since the size was perfect and it reclined for my wife and I both.

    I accept the blame for this one. I did not investigate R2G before my purchase. After investigation, I found that 72% of online reviews are 1 star. Many of the reviews report massive delays, broken furniture, receiving refurbished (rather than new) products, a lack of response from the company, and poor interactions with the Customer Service Department. I had my own experience yesterday. After an extended wait for delivery, the day finally arrived. The delivery time given was 6 pm to 10 pm. I thought it was odd, but we wanted our furniture. When the time frame changed to 11:30 pm to 12 am, I tried to call Customer Service. After waiting on hold for over an hour, the first-line representative offered nothing.

    When I spoke with the "supervisor" (Carlos C.) I wrong concerning the delivery time (even though it was from the R2G tracking information). He stopped short of calling me a liar, but the insinuation was clear. He offered no help (no additional tracking information, no solutions, not "I'm sorry," no "midnight is an unacceptable delivery time," nothing). He refused to allow me to speak with his supervisor, first telling me he had no supervisor. After I pressed (so, you are the CEO?), he informed me his supervisor would not talk with customers. I hung up with no solution, only wasted time and energy. Finally, the delivery truck driver called, stating the delivery would arrive the next morning.

    The next day, when our delivery window was passed, I called Customer Service. I waited for over 30 minutes to be told our delivery had been canceled because the furniture was not on the truck. It was backordered (even though we decided to purchase based on the fact the website indicated the item was in stock) and would not be available for another 5 weeks. Note, I had to make the call to learn this information. I was transferred to another department to cancel the order and obtain a refund (another 30 minute hold time). I explained the entire saga and asked for the order to be canceled and for a refund. I was told I was wrong; the sofa was on the truck for delivery.

    After arguing for an extended period, the representative checked the files and found I was correct. Then she told me I could not obtain a refund because "the computer was locked because it thought my furniture was on the truck." I explained that computers do not think. They do what people program them to do and whoever needed to fix the situation needed to do it immediately. She protested for several minutes and then placed me on hold. The refund was granted (even though they "can't."). I called again today (40-minute wait) to confirm because I do not believe anything a representative tells me. Please save yourself the trouble and do not purchase furniture from R2G. They offer no solutions to issues, the company consistently over promises and under delivers, their communication and customer service is basically nonexistent, and it is apparent that customer satisfaction is of no concern.

    This is the worst customer service I have experienced, bar AT&T. I purchased a component sofa with chrome legs. It arrived and the guys brought it up 3 flights of stairs, only to realize the legs were missing. They looked terrified I would tell them to carry it back down and said they had contacted customer service and I would hear back within the hour, so I signed for the delivery, thinking it would be a simple matter of getting legs delivered. Waited days and no response from company. Called and spent endless time waiting to talk to people. Was told legs were ordered & I would hear back with est. delivery.

    Heard nothing for days. Sent 2 emails, no response. Called again, told it would be 90 days or they could send me a new couch in 60. Opted for new couch. Day of delivery (today) it poured rain. 3 hours after delivery window ended, received call from truck asking if I would like to reschedule due to rain slowing everything down. Said OK. Received call from dispatch asking if I want reschedule, said yes, so...they said, "Gotta put you on for customer service."

    Waited 45 mins to talk to someone. Finally did and...Wow, they have the 3 components listed separately and because they are going back to warehouse, they have to be rereleased to me. I never would have agreed to redelivery if I had known. Then, wow, "Only 2 components can be released. Is that OK?" Well, no it's not. So now I am in position of waiting months for a couch and I am just going to return it and go somewhere else. I am furious at this very stupid company. BTW, in order to return it I have to go to the store and speak to a salesman, apparently. STUPID, INEFFICIENT, INFURIATING.

    On 02/15/2020 we purchased a sofa at Rooms to Go, sorry to say how dissatisfied we are, just like thousands of victimized customers. We have made contacts with the R2G, and they do not assume responsibility for a credit nor an exchange for a non-defected piece of furniture. I just called my credit card and they explained me that it has passed over six months since the purchase and that there is nothing they can do for me in respect of this damaged furniture. I will continue whistle blowing until Rooms To Go assumes responsibility. Rooms To Go, gave us the run around so that the the six months would pass for any disputable claims. On 10/17/2020, I called this number 1-800-340-4961, the one lady from customer service told me that I could throw away the furniture outside our home. I think this person's photo should be in the Billboards on I-95 and all mayor highways Nationwide.

    Went to the Pensacola store on 30 July 2020 to purchase a mattress. Bought one with the agreement I could exchange it if my wife was not satisfied. She wasn't so requested an exchange on 21 August. Paid for an upgrade and it arrived on 22 Sept but damaged so I sent it back with the driver. I called customer service and left a callback number. Today is 11 November and I have yet to receive a call. Called the store and finally arranged (after dealing with a rude, condescending salesperson) for another delivery on 15 Oct. On 12 Oct they called and changed delivery date to 6 Nov! I called the store and "a" manager said she would have an upgraded mattress sent the next day. Hasn't been delivered as of 11/11/2020!

    So my sales person was great and picking out the furniture was fine. But the delivery process is absolutely and appallingly terrible. First of all it was a month long wait to even get my furniture. We had to schedule three different deliveries as items became ready. One of the deliveries was supposed to include my nightstands as well as my couch. They delivered the nightstands, and when I asked about the couch, I was told it was "on another truck". Turns out, that was untrue - when I checked the invoice, it had been marked as delivered. Contacted customer service and was told that only was I not allowed to pick it up, I would also have to wait another two weeks to receive it even though it was their mistake.

    Next, they delivered my bed but they broke the bed frame. I was told that they simply wouldn't Mark it as delivered and customer service would be in touch right away to have another one delivered. It's been three days and not a word, despite calls and emails I have sent. Customer service is absolute trash. If you're thinking of shopping here DO NOT. Will never buy from here again and if I don't hear from them soon I will be reaching out to my attorney to take legal action.

    The fabric started pulling away at the seams 1 year later and after I called them they told me it was not covered under my warranty but before my purchase, I was told that if anything happened to my fabric or anything they would replace it if they couldn't fix it.     We received our coffee table and end tables and when the movers pulled the coffee table out, the box was damaged. When the table was pulled out, it was damaged too. Apparently the store said to deliver as is. Why would anyone send furniture to someone who is paying a lot of money first off and then receive it damaged??? Not OK!!!!

    Rooms to Go should be shut down for how they are conducting business. I purchased an electronic loveseat recliner from them on 9/6/2020. My husband just had surgery to repair a compound fracture of his knee, hip, and femur bones. The recliner has a function where you can set a memory profile and with one push of a button it goes all the way down. Then when you get back in the chair and push the button it supposed to take you back to the memory position. Well Rooms to Go delivered the loveseat on 10/8/2020 as anticipated (one month later!). When the delivery driver came, he pushed the buttons to show the chair moving. No one was sitting in the recliner when he demonstrated. He did not know how to set the memory profile.

    When he left, I sat in the chair to test it out. The leg rest came up, but would not go back down. I called Rooms to Go. They said it would be 10/29/2020 before they would bring a replacement. I paid almost $2000 for this loveseat so my husband would be comfortable while recovering. He cannot even sit there. I paid $200 for the warranty. Well they said it would be even longer before they could send a repair man and he probably would not be able to fix it. 10/29/2020 the replacement showed up. We tested it while the Drivers were here. Same problems only worse. The recliner does not work! Rooms to Go refused to let the drivers take back both chairs. So now this piece of trash is taking up my living room and we cannot even sit in it.

    My husband has nowhere comfortable to sit, and he is getting contractures in his leg because he has to lay in the bed all the time. I called Rooms to Go. They said it will be December 16 before they send a replacement and that they absolutely do not do refunds. They said my only other option would be to exchange for a different piece of furniture. They are trying to blame it on the manufacturers. The delivery drivers told me that the couch is refurbished, it is not new. The customer service hotline is a joke! They keep you on hold for hours and then when you actually do talk to someone they are no help. They do not care about my husband and I as their customers or the predicament they have put us in. What in the world am I going to do? How is it legal for them to do this?

    I ordered two large pieces of furniture from Rooms To Go and received them in May 2020. The entertainment console arrived damaged; a shelving unit inside was broken on both sides. I emailed and waited weeks for a response. Finally responded and asked for detailed description and pictures, which I gladly sent along. Fast forward months, still nothing. I emailed again and was told covid19 was making things slow. Ok, I'll give you some more time...covid19, I get it. Fast forward to Oct 22nd and still no replacement. I emailed and complained AGAIN. 2 days later I get a package, I assume it was going to be my long awaited shelf replacement. No, no it wasn't. They sent the entirely wrong shelf. I will never buy from them again and I would never recommend Rooms To Go to anyone, ever.

    I’m so overwhelmed by my total experience from RTG! My family & I relocated to FL over the summer & was moving into our place end of Sept. So the backlog of our furniture that we paid about 10K for was okay. We even agreed to receive on different dates well into Oct, Nov and Dec. So our first batch of furniture that was delivered as promised right when we moved in. Delivery showed up at 6:15AM. Yes. Slamming on the door not expecting anyone then asking if we paid for assembly (no we didn’t not for our couch and dinette) - I was told by the sales man that save our money they drop right to the front door. I was leaving while they hugged and puffed moaned because I refused to pay them 80$ cash so they can walk up some stairs to do their job. I walked down the stairs and the man smashed the 2 hall lights and just kept walking with the couch pillow. I was extremely embarrassed having to explain to my manager and pay for the repair.

    Now we go into the TV promotion promised will be delivered after our delivery. Forget about getting anything promised especially where they can now pass this buck as they don’t know anything but knew plenty when sold us the package. 2 days before another delivery out of the 6 promised told they don’t have my item what I paid for already waited for and will have to get it in Feb 2021. I was like they sold our furniture and this is criminal!!!! They take your money then hopefully you’ll forget about it!!!

    Now that was it I got some furniture. I do love it. God forbid it breaks because they sure did hassle me to warranty everything including the receipt. I swear. I want nothing to do with them. I get yelled at when I have a question by the Kissimmee sales lady. They lied to tell me, "Just come in and we’ll refund you." Nope. Drove all the way there and told, "It’s locked and when we can who knows when that will be we'll send you a few checks"!! I’m not from Florida but this is a criminal company. They legit are stealing your money with lies and deceit. They don’t honor their word or their sales!!!! I’ve never been taking for a ride like this!!!! I want my money - I bet I’ll have to file a claim to see what I’m entitled to!!!

    Rooms to Go was the WORST furniture buying experience I ever had. I purchased a counter high table and two extract stools. It was suppose to be completely black with gray fabric on the seats, it was black and brown due to it not being completely painted. I had to have the stools replaced 3 times because they were used, and the table once. They finally sent out a Tech who also agreed with me on the condition of the wood and paint, but went back to the office and wrote a different report.

    When I finally contacted Rooms to Go, the Rep was rude, and told me they tried to contact me and left a message, which was not true. Then stated there was nothing they could do, the set was suppose to look like that. Because the wood is not treated when wiping the table the towel gets snagged. I have grandkids. I now have to be concerned about them getting splinters in fingers. I spent 1296.00 for a dining room set that I will now have to paint and treat myself, because in due time the damp towels will cause the wood to swell. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR QUALITY FURNITURE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE, YOU WILL NOT FIND IT AT ROOMS TO GO.

    First let me say the customer service in the store is excellent. But that’s where it ends. I had to wait almost two weeks to get my items delivered. I purchased a dining set, two door cabinet, end table and lamp. I paid roughly $1,700. I also paid additional to have items assembled. Delivery day came my table was assembled, the delivery men acted like they didn’t want to do it. Left abruptly. I had to run out to truck and let them know I was missing the cabinet. They got it off truck, carried it in my house and told me they could not assembled because it was damaged and left it in my house! Mind you this item is kind of big. I finally reached customer service after holding on over an hour. They told me they could exchange in two weeks. I was livid so they made arrangements next week.

    Nothing happen because it was not on truck. So another two weeks mind you I still have this damaged item in the box taking up space in my living room. Finally they delivered the replacement. It does not look new. Paint is scraped off in areas. Also the lamp I purchased was damaged, pieces broke off in places. Lesson learned. I usually shop at Gallery Furniture, get my items the same day and delivered with care. I will never shop at Rooms to Go again. I have pictures of the damaged they delivered and charged me for.

    I spent a lot of money on new patio furniture. The store was short staffed when we bought the furniture. The person who was helping us, had to help like 3 other people at the same time. This was frustrating because it extended our transaction time. We opted to pay for delivery, but not assembly. Thank goodness, $200 for unboxing would have been pretty deep. The product came and we “assembled” it. Part of the sofa was damaged, it was also missing webbing and the table was chipped. And they delivered an extra fire pit. I called the customer service number. I sat on hold for four (4) hours, then the phone picked up and said, "We are sorry we can’t transfer you at this time."

    I called the store to put action toward getting things fixed and the extra fire pit removed from my yard. First they told me to call the customer service line, I explained (4 hours on hold etc). He told me he would have to hold too, but he took down the information. I called back to customer service because I hadn’t heard anything. They had no record of my problem. We set up a return of the mis delivered item would be 3 weeks away. That is 6 weeks total wait while this big box sat outside in my patio. I asked for an earlier date, they said they would check the schedule and get back to me. Never got a call. I called back to the customer service line, a 2.5 hour wait. I actually took a shower, got dressed, and ate all while on hold.

    Finally had a conversation with a CSR. She said she would get back to me. I told her I was going to deliver the big box (now soaked in water, peed on by our dogs, and falling apart) back to the store if they didn’t pick it up earlier. They said they would have to get back to me, so I dropped it off. I would not recommend Rooms to Go to anyone. I will never shop at rooms to go again. If they can not run their business due to the pandemic, they should keep their doors closed. I am actually contemplating a return of everything I bought. I just don’t trust them. Do yourself a favor, save money, get what you pay for online.

    After placing an order online for a total of $1360 with the amount to be taken from my Rooms To Go Card, the amount was deducted from my regular checking account instead. After hours on trying to get through to make the corrections, my order was cancelled only after filing a dispute with my bank. My bank provided me with a provisional credit and after the dispute, the total was refunded back to Rooms To Go who then only refunded me $999 of the total, and is holding on to the balance of $360. I reached out multiple times to Brittany ** and other staff members who have been less than helpful. My order was not adjusted in any way so why would is Rooms To Go holding on to my refund? No one seems to know. Staff seem not to be knowledgeable about the company or their department. It’s shameful that they think they can do this and get away.

    I am writing this review as a very dissatisfied customer. I recently purchase a six bedroom home and was looking forward to furnishing it. In August 2020, I purchased near $14k worth of furniture & all of the pieces I've received were damaged. Not to mention, my daughter received her queen bedroom set this past Friday, 10/9/2020, and after examing the items, all 4 pieces to her set is damaged. She has been waiting for 2 months as well and now this. OK, now going back to my issues, due to COVID-19 delivery time is longer, which I clearly understand that so I waited patiently. To my despair, all my pieces have some type of damage.

    I'm very disappointed because I've known Rooms To Go to carry decent furniture but the level of quality has decreased tremendously. Between the time of waiting & receiving damaged stuff, I had just about had enough. Well, I was told there's nothing I could do but exchange. Had I known this, I would never have purchased because I never patronize any establishment that doesn't accept returns. I have a right to spend my hard earned money & request a refund if I choose to; especially if there's justifications. So, here I am, being forced to continue to do business with them (let's not talk about their customer service...HORRIBLE).

    I have furniture in my living room, family room, and two bedrooms that are damaged, awaiting for replacement. Who knows how long all this will take, especially with holidays approaching. I just wish they could pick up all their stuff and let me go elsewhere...just allow me to return these items. I feel trapped, I don't want to do business with them and I'm being forced to spend my money at an establishment that has a lack in product quality and customer service.

    I purchased a bedroom suite in late June and on 2 separate occasions I was given my time frame and the first time I was given a text the morning of that my delivery schedule had been moved up. Well I couldn’t be there as I hadn’t made arrangements for that time frame and so I finally get through to customer service and against my better judgement I give them another chance and yesterday it was suppose to arrive between 12-4. I get a phone call at 11:51 stating it’s been changed to 4-8. That was still doable had they arrived by 6. At 6 pm I got on the app to track and the eta is 7:55-8:25. Now this is unacceptable so I am forced to message a number on the website as there is no other way to reach anyone.

    After stating that it’s no longer going to work for me I immediately get a phone call from dispatch to notify me they are running late yet again (they had been late from delivery1 and I was 13). I tell them to not bring it to my home. I’m going to cancel order as I can’t be there at this time whatever time it might have been they decided to arrive. I call customer service just now and am told I’ll have to pay delivery fee. Whoa how is it that I was going to be given a full refund previously but now I have to pay delivery fee. Hmmm... In my opinion yesterday was completely unacceptable. They wasted an entire day for me! I will tell everyone I know about this experience! I'd give them 0 stars if possible.

    I would give them 10 negative stars if that was available. THE ABSOLUTE WORST purchase experience we have ever had. Don’t take my word for it, just go and read reviews across the internet about them. I won’t make this long. They never called me to give me a delivery window ahead of time OR give me information on how I could get that on my own.. They show up the day of at 8:00am and since we had not moved to the house yet, no one was there. When they called me I begged them to leave the two stools on the porch and that I was 10 minutes away; she said the driver will not leave it. I spend two days, 6 calls trying to go and get them myself. The first 5 people told me that as soon as it’s back in the warehouse, they will be able to reschedule delivery or make arrangements to pick it up.

    The 6th call I was told the stools had been given to another person that was waiting on them and mine would be available in 3 months because it’s on back order. She told me this in fact is their policy and that they do not hold merchandise for people. No matter what I did to make her understand the situation, she didn’t want to hear it. I spoke to the “manager” at the store (I don’t believe he was actually the manager. I think she just put someone on just to get rid of me). He could not explain why the first 5 people I talked to, did not tell me about this strange and bizarre policy. Just told me I either wait or I can have my money back.

    SO I did a little looking and strangely, other people have had a very similar situation which makes me think they are running some kind of scam or just something is fishy. How can someone miss their delivery and you don’t give them a window to come and get the item before you just give it away. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE MAKING A PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

    Customer Service from the "Presidential" group is HORRIBLE!!! This is the second time ordering a product from Rooms to Go. Since my first encounter was positive, I decided to order "online" a loveseat, with console, from them. Needless to say, the service received was DEPLORABLE, and I was kept on hold approx. 30 minutes each time I called to check on my order (4-6 calls total)!!! LET ME PROVIDE A BRIEF HISTORY...

    1) Loveseat (aka Product) ordered and paid for in full on June 18, 2020. 2) Delivery scheduled for September 24th (approx. 3 months later ... understandable timeframe, due to Coronavirus issues). 3) Received text reminder regarding my delivery on September 17th (1 week before delivery). 4) Made arrangements to clear out current furniture to make room for new Product. 5) Received call from Rooms to Go on September 23rd rescheduling delivery to November 21st ... now "5 months later" from order date of June 18th! 6) Informed Rooms to Go this 5-month delay was totally unacceptable. Since they wouldn't/couldn't provide earlier delivery, I requested remuneration for this excessive inconvenience and was told to contact the Presidential group.

    7) MS. LYNNETTE ** of the Presidential group finally called back, after I left three to four calls. I asked her for a $200 credit for my inconvenience, of which she said she couldn't do. She informed me that the only thing they could do was not charge me a Delivery Fee ... i.e., an additional fee of $59 upon delivery. Having to wait five months for delivery, I expressed that her offer was unacceptable and would not make me whole in any way! I asked her to revisit my request for a credit with her superiors. I waited three days and after not hearing back from Ms. **, I canceled the entire order!

    My husband and I were looking to purchase sofas, bedroom sets, dining room as we just moved here from Colorado and were in the process of purchasing a home. We were told by the sales guy to put a deposit down to ensure our furniture was available when we were ready to complete our purchase which was after our closing in a little over a week. We told him we needed to call our lender to get approval for a large purchase. He then said it’s not going to matter just do it and that he needed to hit his quota for the month the was the last day of August. I was very turned off by this and left my husband to deal with him.

    Anyways we were given a green light to put the deposit down and was ensured that this would hold our furniture. When we came in to complete the transaction we were told that they sold our furniture and it would be 2 months until we could get new furniture delivered. So frustrating as we now had nothing to sleep on, sit on and so. So we asked for our money back and they refused and said we could have a store credit. Not ok since now we have to find new furniture for our house. Unacceptable all around. Don’t recommend Rooms to Go. I’m still trying to get our money back.

    HORRIBLE! Don't waste your money. The dining room table we bought was trash the moment it was delivered. You can't even set a plate on it without scratching it. It is chipping all around the sides. It is cheaply made obviously. But that is not even the worst of it. The leather couch we bought came with cup holders that have a USB port. Well, it got so hot it melted and almost caught fire. It could have burned our entire house down. contacted them about this only to be told that the soonest they can get someone out is NOVEMBER. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? We can't even recline in the seats, or turn it on at all without the possibility of a fire, and it is going to take 2 months to even get someone out here to check it out and see if they are going to replace it??

    Long Story... Bought furniture for my kids' bedroom. Delivery was in parts, depending upon the availability. The last item delivered was after 6 months after placing the order. First items received - damaged, was able to get hold of the support and placed the replacement order. Received new item but again damaged along with the 2nd item, which was also damaged. Called again, and placed the replacement order. Received the replacement but damaged again. Now, called the support couple of times, no response. Opened a ticket using chat still no response. Emailed couple of times, no response. Then called again no response. We haven't used any of the items till now. They are just sitting in the room, since delivered. Don't know, what else to do...??? Will I ever get a response. I understand that they are working with very less staffing but I'm sure, they had 2 mins in the last 1 month, to respond to my request.

    I purchased chair and sofa, they missed the delivery time frame they said they would deliver. I couldn't wait past the 4 hour window. I called daily for 5 days, waiting up to an hour on each call to finally get hold of customer service. I now have to wait an additional 6 weeks for delivery of my chair and sofa, after already have waited over a month for initial delivery. If I could, I would have purchased somewhere else.

    Purchased a couch, loveseat, and rocker recliner on 8/28/20. Sales lady was great except for not knowing a rocker recliner can be electric and instead of saying she didn't know, she said that technology hasn't came out yet. Delivery of furniture and the delivery guys were great, but the condition of the recliner was not. They made a note and I was told a replacement would be out within a week. On 9/11/20, my replacement came as promised, through a 3rd party delivery. The replacement chair was in worse condition. The 3rd party had no paperwork and their dispatch told them to bring both chairs back.

    They didn't tell me what to do and then just started to drive off. I yelled, they stopped, I tried to ask again what was I supposed to do and the drivers didn't know. With no paperwork, how do I know I was going to be credited for the chairs? So I took pictures of the truck's DOT # and license plate and the driver drove off hurriedly. It took forever to reach someone (9/11/20) at Rooms to Go and when I did, I was told it would take 24 hours to process the return. Well that was one week ago. I have no chair and no refund. Meantime, I called the store again on 9/15/20 and was assured it would be processed. 9/18/20, no return processed and I cannot get ahold of anyone again. Guess I will be making a personal appearance.

    I ordered a sofa and loveseat from them and had two free day delivery with them. The day of delivery came and I stepped in the bathroom for less than two minutes and missed the call that they were here. They did not even wait and got a call from a 1800 number to reschedule. I called immediately after and they said my order was “locked” until 4pm the next day. The next day came and I called after 4pm and the order was supposedly still locked and the rep offered to call me back as soon as it got unlocked. Never got a call back from him. So the following day I called again and that’s when they told me they couldn’t deliver the loveseat because it was no longer available. So I asked what happened to it if I paid for it and it was on the truck for delivery. The rep told me that the items are only held on the day of delivery. Meaning if you miss your delivery time then they sell your item again!!! My item that I paid for was sold to someone else!!!

    At this point I was furious and asked for a refund for the loveseat and she only offered me $90 back. I had paid for $299 each item and asked for the price I paid. She said she could not honor it because the promotion was no longer available. I didn’t accept her refund and asked for the entire money back. She said ok but that they would discount $59 for a delivery fee. I asked how this was possible if I had free delivery? She said once an attempt was made and not delivered then they charge this fee. I was never notified of this fee at anytime when making the purchase. I will be disputing this with my bank. Save your time and shop elsewhere!!!

    Rooms To Go has been THE worst furniture buying experience I have ever had. I completed my purchase for a bed set online on August 17, 2020 and my delivery scheduled for Friday September 4, 2020. I moved into my new apartment on that date and the bed was scheduled to arrive on that date for my kids to sleep. On September 3, 2020, I was given a time frame text from Rooms To Go which was listed as 1pm-4pm. On Friday September 4, 2020, I waited at the new apartment expecting their arrival. Around 3pm after not hearing from them, I checked the tracking portal and time was updated to "5pm to 9pm" as my new expected delivery time.

    I waited the rest of the evening without complaint, because I know things can get behind. At approximately 7:30Pm I received a phone call from Rooms To Go dispatch stating that they would now NOT BE ABLE to deliver my order. The dispatch lady advised that "Our truck broke down and we are not able to deliver your bed. I asked her if it could be delivered tomorrow (Saturday September 5, 2020) and she told me no, because they were going to be close. I then asked could it be delivered Monday September September 7, 2020 and again told me no they could not do it because they don't deliver on a holiday (Labor Day). I then asked if she could put me in contact with a supervisor as this was now an urgent matter because my family would now have to sleep on hardwood floors for days. She told me that she could not connect me to a supervisor but "would put it in the notes" and have a supervisor call on Saturday.

    Ultimately, me and family slept on the floor. I was never provided with a new delivery date as I waited until the following Tuesday for the company to reach out to me. SOOO on Wednesday September 7,2 020, I got ahold of another customer rep and I told her I would like a refund on my purchase. She then went to look at the previous notes on the account and told me that there were notes left on my account from Friday September 4, 2020. These notes left by the representative stated that "customer upset, wishes to speak to supervisor. Bed was not delivered" and that the reason why was because I WAS NOT HOME!!!! SO now I'm even more livid because the rep from Friday had the audacity to lie and imply that me not having a bed was MY FAULT.

    At this point, I tell the lady that I need my refund for sure and she transfers for me to "some department" which I wait on hold for 2 hours and was NEVER ASSISTED by anyone in regards to my refund!!! I have CONSTANTLY CALLED customer service for the past TWO WEEKS only to be left on hold and not provided any assistance! I have never dealt this level of poor performance. I JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK AND TO MOVE ON WITH MY LIFE. I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DOLLAR WITH THIS COMPANY.

    I guess I will leave an update once I finally hear from someone and actually see the funds placed back into my account. Not a single employee has reached out to since Wednesday September 7th and I find it crazy that my bed is sitting around somewhere and not one manager is concerned as to why it's not delivered to the person who has paid their funds for it. Keep the bed at this point. I WANT MY MONEY. If I can leave 0 stars I would.

    A shipment for an order of mine was delivered while I was on vacation. By the time I returned home from vacation I realized that it was the wrong item. However, per their Customer Service Rep, it was seven days past their 48 hour return notification period, therefore, they could not nor would not do anything and I would have keep the wrong item and “eat the cost”! I proceeded to write an email to management explaining the situation with the hope of at least an exchange. As of today 9/12/2020, I have not received any type of response and it has been more than eight days. With this said, I would “warn any consumer to be very cautious about ordering anything from Rooms to Go!” They have surely lost any future business from me and they can bet that I will be alarming all of my family and friends about their “poor service!”

    Save your money, shop around, do your homework. The furniture was not worth it, my sales person did not disclose important facts like “do you want these items set up” etc... I’m in tears with damaged furniture and no one to help me move these heavy damaged pieces. Pls, shop somewhere else.

    Ordered a bedroom, first delivery had missing pieces.. Waited again a few week. The rest finally came. Months later a lead paint recall. Delivery day comes, two separate phone calls prior confirming it, Spent a whole day waiting to get a call. There was a glitch. Won’t be delivered till tomorrow!! Tomorrow is here and delivery time window has passed without a phone call!! Call customer service and all I get is, "We understand ma’am..." I guess I’m supposed to stay home indefinitely? Poor customer service from this company!! I had ordered from here in the past and was pleased,, since this last time something must have changed because feels like they do not care At all!

    We have been loyal customers for years and so has my mother. We purchased an expensive living room (leather) set. Where my husband sits and his bald head met the living room set, there is a brown color, and there are other areas too. I had extended warranty and went through Rooms to Go, submitted pictures over and over again, and never heard back. So disappointed because their furniture isn't cheap. Super sad and no one ever called to acknowledge anything, every time I call to check on the status, they have me re-do everything.

    My family recently purchased a sectional sofa from the store in Baton Rouge, LA. It took 3 people to answer basic questions in the store and then we had to stand in a queue like we were in a grocery store to pay them thousands of dollars. The pieces were delivered and one area was missing all of its legs. After calling several numbers repeatedly with no answer we were finally helped to be told they would expedite them. Two weeks later we received 5 out of 6 legs. Let's see how long it takes to get the 1 leg so the family can finally sit down together. I recommend driving past the store. It's not worth it.

    I made a purchase for my new home thinking let's do Rooms To Go. You see it on TV they must have good furniture. I bought a Bedroom set that before 90 days was up the whole piece of wood that the frame connected to broke and after paying careful attention we found out that every other screw was missing and the ones that was left in it was stripped. Which when the tech came out that was also his finding. The kitchen table to the set we bought was peeling almost within about the same amount of time. Understand me I am still making payments on these items. Not only am I paying on time, I make (2) payments when I do (Covid Virus or Not)!

    Now let's talk about customer service. These people took their time coming out to replace it both the table and the bed frame. I am 63 yrs old, I explained I cannot get down on the floor on a mattress to sleep. They never compensated us for the inconvenience and the female that I spoke to, although apologetic, did nothing to ease what we went through. So, I will try Ashley Furniture for my Living room furnishings. I'll payoff RTG but I never want to deal with those people again. Please be careful what you purchase from them, they are not a good Company when it comes to the customer needs. I almost want to tell you to - Rooms To Go Somewhere else to buy your furniture. So, if you had 1000 negative stars that's the one I would click. Signed PO'd.

    Rooms To Go is prompt and friendly and will say anything to get your money. Afterward they already got you and don’t care. You wait months for your delivery then they contact a week prior you to let you know when they will deliver. So the day before I sold my living room set to make room only to be contacted 2 hrs before closing I would only receive a partial delivery. That’s when the battle for a refund began.     Waited 6 weeks to get our new couch and love seat. Delivery shows up and wrong brown couch with a grey love seat. Really?! Delivery calls customer service, customer service calls me and immediately puts me on hold for 10 minutes. If you think I was mad before, I Am really mad now. So my husband and I go down to the store and ask to see the manager. She comes out and says can I help you? We had to ask her if she was the manager and she said yes. Notice she doesn’t give us her name. Immediate attitude from her.

    After she tells me that me being upset doesn’t bother her, I told her I want my money back. Never apologized for the mix up (which, I’m not stupid, they did this on purpose because the couches are back ordered). Never said, "Let me see what I can do to make this right." Had to ask the sale counselor the manager’s name. It’s Asha by the way.

    I am willing to bet that if upper management asked the employees at their Woodlands store, the would discover their Store Manager should be allowed to manage anything that requires customer service. Cannot get in touch with customer service, sat on hold for 15 minutes today and got no one. I need to make sure I am not charged for furniture and the 10% I put down is given back to me or applied to my account. We were left with no furniture. Asha wouldn’t be able to tell us anything until sometime this week. Too bad because we had previously bought four beds from Rooms To Go and were happy. So we went to Gallery Furniture and got new furniture delivered the same night. Excellent customer service!

    Rooms to go furniture is trash. The customer service is horrible. I purchased sofa, bed, and dresser spending over $3,000. After two years of normal use, the bed headboard and drawer skins start peeling off. Please review enclosed photos. Please do not waste your money for trash.     My delivery was this morning. I was sleeping at the time, but my husband was here to accept delivery. One of the chests was damaged and had to be put back on the truck. When I examined the second chest, it also had damage. On the back, there is a gaping hole about the size of a fist. I cannot wait another month for a delivery. We were redecorating the room in anticipation of guests coming in two weeks. Without the chests, we have a huge problem, both aesthetically and functionally. Rooms To Go said it will be a month and a half before the new chest can be delivered, which is just unacceptable. I asked if they could deliver 2 new chests and take the other damaged one back at the same time, and they said no. So when they deliver the one chest, they will take the other and I'll have to wait another month and a half to get the second one. WHO DOES BUSINESS LIKE THIS???

    I bought two sofa sleepers and a desk on promotion. The sofa sleepers are zero percent for 5 years and the desk 0 percent for two years. The desk drawers do not close all the way anymore and the chair had to be repaired when a screw under the leg fell out after one year of mild use. This is the Carpathian desk and chair and is supposed to be the heaviest and most sturdy. The sofa front fabric is rolling and the cushions are already wrinkled. I do not have children or large dogs. The quality does not last more than 2 to 3 years with mild use. Then at the time of sale, they get you to buy some credit protection that absorbs the payment so you end up with half the amount due within two months to avoid 30% interest. Their credit is through Synchrony bank and I would have expected more integrity with this credit company. The quality is crap and the credit through the bank is deceptive.

    I have been a Rooms to Go Customer for over 20 years and to this day haven't had no bad experience with them until I purchased this Sofia Vergara white livingroom set that nobody sits on, ans it's starting to crack without anyone sitting on it or touching it. Can someone please explain to me how and why if no one sits on the furniture why would a good quality furniture start to crack for no reason at all. A representative from rooms to go came to look at it and said they would replace the sofa just the sofa but not the entire set.

    If the entire has not been sat on or used and is for show again how and why would this furniture start cracking? If you're going to replace one piece replace it all, this brand by Sophia is of poor poor quality and I would not recommend this brand at all. By far the worst livingroom set I purchased from rooms to go and after this experience I would not recommend this store or site for further purchase. Even being a customer for such a long time this is piss poor customer service of handling this situation. No "sorry" or "could we replace the set". They would rather get a bad review and folks money than to please the consumer.

    6 hours late arrived at 12 am! Today I was supposed to get a couch delivered that I ordered a month ago. Two days in advance they give you a time frame. My time frame was 2-6 pm. At 6:30 pm, I call customer service to find out the status. They were closing so the delivery manager was going to call me back because they could not get into contact with the delivery driver. At 8:30 pm I get a call saying the delivery driver started his route late and was doing it backwards (I was the second stop). That he will be there between 8 pm-12 am.

    They could have informed me at 2 pm that he was going to be 6 hours passed the end of my time frame. I left work to make sure I would be here knowing they would probably not get here till closer to 6 pm. This is absolutely ridiculous, inconsiderate, and unprofessional. The tracker said the driver was loaded and leaving at 9 am this morning. They give you your stop number, and a time frame. The very least they could do is contact their consumers to let them know it is going to be this late. OR UPDATE THE TRACKER THEY HAVE SET UP.

    I paid cash for living room furniture and was told it would take 2 months to arrive. I was OK with that. Two days before delivery they called to verify it will arrive on time. Salvation Army came to pick up my old furniture the next day. At 6 am the day of my delivery, I received a text saying that my new furniture will arrive at 7 am. The truck arrives on time, my furniture is not on the truck. The driver was very nice and apologized but still NO furniture. I called customer service and waited 30 minutes for someone to answer. They told me that my furniture is on back order and cannot be delivered for another month. That's when I go on vacation. I am fuming mad and will go to the store and demand my money back. I have no furniture to sit on and will go to another outlet that knows how to operate a business that appreciates their customers and knows what they are doing.

    We purchased an expensive living room suite AND purchased the extra warranty coverage. Our furniture is still under warranty, we have hinges that are falling apart! I called their warranty department and reported the hinges were falling apart on my LIVING room suite. The dummy I was dealing with insisted it was a computer NOT a living room suite.     Updated on 08/20/2020: After waiting an additional two for a delivery, delivery crew set up my dining room table to inform me that the glass table top was not loaded on truck. Of course I had to notify Rooms to Go about this issue to being informed that I have to wait another two weeks just for a table top. After all I been through with this company losing workdays due to constantly rescheduling delivery still not once have a Supervisor reached out to me and offered me anything.

    Original Review: If purchasing from Rooms To Go (RTG) make sure you pick your own furniture order up from store, do not rely on their delivery team.... Worst experience ever, I had two separate orders with RTG and both delivery dates was pushed off to later dates without notifying me. I tried going onto their website to get an update status on my order, the system did not have any information on my order whatsoever. Upon calling the store and waiting over an half hour to speak with someone, the customer service representative inform me they tried calling me on 7/29, I informed him that no one left a message if they did call; and then I told him I would have return the call. He then informed me that my order was pushed back not one week but two weeks (my scheduled delivery 8/6 switch to 8/20) in which I took the day off twice already waiting on their delivery.

    My daughter purchase a bedroom set and was schedule for delivery on 6/18, no one never showed up or called. I called RTG. They told me no one was answering the phones from their delivery team and they was going to send out an email. Well no one never call me back, but two days later I received a text with a different delivery date. So, yes; they schedule delivery based on their schedule not yours. If paying $250 per delivery and service is not render is a disgrace and a rip off, especially when a person have to miss days at work during this Covid-19 pandemic. NEVER AGAIN WILL I PURCHASE FURNITURE FROM RTG!

    Rooms to Go Okeechobee branch managers and associates are playing games with customers giving wrong information and blame each other. And their mattress items are so bad. I purchase a mattress which feels firm but when they delivered to my house it does not feel firm so I asked for exchange. Sales associate said I can purchase anything do not have to exchange and then manager came. He said no. Associate did not know anything. When I select it the manager said 150 dollar will be charge for delivery. So this is going on.

    Rooms To Go does not stand by their products nor does their warranty provider. I bought a 5 piece living room set in March of 2019, by July 2020 the fabric is torn at the seams, the zipper on the cushion is broken and stuck open and the side panels are falling off. R2G blamed my pets for all the damages and said they will do nothing about the falling apart furniture. Do not buy from this store if you have pets because they’ll say it was your fault, not poor manufacturing quality.

    I was rushed out the store while spending money. My delivery date was pushed back 4 times. I purchased a kitchen table set. Someone chairs was damaged so they replace the chairs with my chairs which I was told the day of delivery day by head office. Also that they were out of stock to September. I Had to wait 3 weeks for new ones. Bedroom set was damaged when receiving it. Was told by store manager roger it was going to be fixed. I dont want it fixed. I want a new one. I paid for a new one not damaged one. Kitchen chairs was damaged.

    Also I called customers service and one of the workers hung up in the middle of my sentence because I asked to speak to a supervisor and would not tell her what for, due to the customer service issues I was already experience. I didn't want to keep repeating myself so I wanted higher up. Her supervisor Alonna gets on the phone with her rude self and say, "What did you need me for." She is trained to handle these types of calls. Well excuse me both y'all need new training because the first thing she should have said was, "Hi my name is Alonna. I'm a supervisor here. How may I help you." Ugh.

    Then I asked to speak with her supervisor. She told me no and there was no one over her, it was either her or no one. I know that's a lie. Everyone has a supervisor. I called again today asking for her supervisor and faith told no. Jim the supervisor at the store location is so rude it doesn't make any sense of how could you be that way. He sent my check to the wrong address and wouldn't refund me my money and was given me the run around about everything. He has ammy who works with him and she picks up the phone and puts me on hold for an hour because I asked for Ron the general manager because he and Latoya the only ones who care.

    I feel like I was nothing leaving that store. That's how I was treated even the customers service, when I tried to make a complaint. They were rude. I feel like they all work together and I just want y'all to come pick your stuff up and I take my business somewhere else. I'm so over it. I have not even had my stuff for 30 days and I purchased it in May. That's how long it took y'all to deliver to me and we in the middle of July. I spent over $3000 with y'all. I don't deserve this.

    The stuff they sell is junk not fit for the curb on trash day. Bought a nice looking sectional at a great price. Day 2 leaned on the armrest and my elbow punched through the CARDBOARD armrest frame material. There is now a divot/hole/dent in the armrest and feeling around with my hand underneath the material of the couch and wow - literally paper cardboard is the framing/shell on a couch. Not sure this is even worth dealing with. I'll just let my kids trash it and not shed a tear.

    I would never buy from Rooms to Go again. Purchased a 2k living room set and warranty, and the bottom fell out of one of the sectionals, had a warranty rep come out, take pics, all to be told that less than 2 years old it’s a not a manufactured problem it’s normal wear and tear.. Um excuse me but why did I buy a 300 warranty for your product to fail.. and you not to stand behind a warranty or product. You can say what you like rooms to go but bad news travels faster and you definitely have lost a customer here!!

    Please stay away from this company! After learning through an email my bedroom furniture contained hazardous Lead Paint I contacted customer service. They are going to swap out the pieces that is not the problem. They refused to conduct any kind of testing and provide me with any information about the levels of lead in the paint. Keep in mind I never asked for a refund/settlement etc. All I wanted to know is should I worry considering my 2 and 5 year old are frequently in my bed. They said there was nothing they could do....

    I made a furniture purchase and scheduled a delivery date. My window of delivery was 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. had to pay someone to be at my house all day to wait because the sales person said they never deliver on time. I thought that was unusual, but he actually told us they are never on time. All during the day I checked my text updates and they were still scheduled but the time got later and later. They called at 12:41 to say they were about an hour out from delivery. We waited and waited and at around 4:30 I got a call that due to technical difficulties they could not deliver my order on the day promised and paid for. I had a trip planned for the next day and they could not deliver till the next day.

    I had to cancel my plans and forfeit my deposit on my trip. I was not going to come home from celebrating my 40th anniversary and sleep on the floor. My bed was already disassembled and moved out of the room. We did it because they were running late and we thought it would help. I had to pay someone to come put my bed back together because I have a disability and can’t do it. Now I have to be here all day tomorrow. When I called wanting answers, the Macon, Georgia store absolutely would not answer the phone for about an hour. Someone finally answered after I chose every option on their menu just to get someone. There was the normal we are sorry story, and they tell me the driver’s wife had a baby. After being lied to all day about a delivery time I certainly didn’t believe it. I have no idea if they will really show up, but I will never purchase a penny’s worth of merchandise from Rooms to Go again.

    I am also planning to seek compensation for all the inconvenience and most certainly expect to be reimbursed for the guaranteed delivery that did not happen on the day promised. Quite honestly I don’t believe their excuse. And I am generally a patient person, but this is some really bad customer dis-service. Large companies should take time to remember why they are large companies making lots of money. It is from all the people like me who buy their products in good faith and expect to be treated with honesty and fairness. They should treat every customer like he/she matters. I hope they do something to compensate for the poor service, broken promises, and extreme inconvenience they cause. I guess they don’t really think about where the food on their tables comes from. I hate being treated like my time means nothing. Rooms To Go, you need to do better.

    Recently, I splurged on a leather reclining sectional for my living room and furniture for our upstairs den. I have had HORRIBLE service the past 4 weeks. I have patiently tried to resolve this matter but at this point I don’t have faith that this will be resolved without submitting this concern to BBB. The reclining portion of our sectional seems to be warped and off track. This sectional was purchased less than a year ago with additional warranty coverage. For 4 weeks, I have tried to schedule someone to support via the Customer Care Line, store support, online submission for support and no one has called to provide support. I’ve used the function on the Call care center twice with no callback ever occurring.

    Today, I called the Sales Rooms to Go line and the call was immediately answered. I asked to speak to someone in management with no luck. When I discussed the matter with the person on the line, they informed me that the lag in service is due to the furlough of workers due to COVID-19. While I empathize, I find it a bit repulsive that people in this department were furloughed but the sales department seems to be thriving with an abundance of service- answered calls, flyers in the mail, an exhaustive number of ads via email. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

    My husband & I wanted outdoor furniture for our covered lanai. We had a seating area set from BJ’s that lasted for 8 years, but was dated. We fell in love with Cindy Crawford’s Hampton set. We drove from PSL to WPB after getting a brochure. We knew exactly what we were looking for. The sales person told us that Ms. Crawford always had the furniture in her homes for one year to be sure it was durable. She did not put her name on it unless it was the best. The fabric was Sunbrella, which meant it was for outdoors. We had owned several large boats and were very familiar with sunbrella fabrics.

    The sales person then strongly recommended the extended warranty. He said it was the best and would cover anything the manufacturers warranty did not cover. He said if you spilled something on the fabric that did not come out for whatever reason, they would automatically replace that cushion and the coverage was for three years.

    DO NOT BUY THIS PROGRAM unless you have time to read ALL five pages before leaving the store and you fully understand every word! Basically you are paying for them to try and get out of covering anything! Before we had this set for a year, which is not up till the end of Sept. 2020... The cushions had to be replaced because they were breaking down & looked like we’d had them for years. Now they are turn green, even though they are covered every night and turned over and a ceiling fan is on all day.

    By the way, we were NEVER given anything telling us how to take care of this sunbrella fabric. When I said this to the salesperson, he said he doesn’t have anything. And can’t remark on what You should use. No, but I should buy the extended warranty program. The first words out of their mouths are...”What have you tried to use to remove the stain?” Wow...and RTG is going to open an Outdoor Furniture store in Jensen Beach! Hope you train your personnel better at the new store!

    We purchased a sofa, two club chairs and an ottoman. Don’t get me wrong, I do love the look of what we purchased. I just don’t like the fact that when I went to clean the teak legs, the stickers under each stated these were solid wood, there were also inspection dates and inspection numbers AND...HERE IS THE KICKER, THERE ARE 3, that’s right 3 cracked legs. One of them has three little tacks in it where someone tried to repair it. So, for over $2,000 the salesman thinks he’s gone above and beyond. I do NOT believe so. I AM MAD!

    I purchased a power reclining sectional, area rug, lamps, coffee table and two end tables in May 2020 for a two part delivery. First part was delivered 5/26/2020, I ended up returning end tables due to them being plastic not marble as Indicated. I went back to initiate the return and cancel coffee table that was due to come with the left arm facing recliner on 7/2/2020. Was told the recliner was now available and would be delivered with new tables on 6/17/2020. The recliner was the wrong color and the wrong part to the sectional I ordered. I called customer service immediately and they told me to call the store so I did.

    I was put on hold for over 35 minutes, I hung up and called back and was told they'd look into and called me back, they didn't, I called the next day and was put on hold for over 18 minutes, I hung up and called back and spoke with the GM Kelly and was told she would call me back and never did, I called back the next day and was put on hold again and told my call would be returned the next day by GM Kelly and was never called back for two days, I called first thing Monday and was told the recliner was now not available until August sometime. They sold my recliner out from under me because someone in the warehouse tagged the piece that was delivered on 6/17/2020 incorrectly and now my piece is not available. I said that is unacceptable and they needed to rectify the situation immediately and have my recliner delivered as promised on 7/2/2020.

    I was finally told by GM Kelly that she sent my file to corporate and she never bothered to inform me nor call me back to update me on the status. After six days I was finally called by Becky in the corporate office and she said that my recliner isn't available until August and I said, "That's not my problem. It's yours." I will not pay for it and to come take it back. I said someone has to make the piece or deliver the piece free of charge in August for the inconvenience and she stated that is not the way it works. That I wouldn't be NOT charged for an $800 piece of furniture. Well I'm sorry but with a 500% makeup on their furniture it's the least they can do or at least offer it at their cost or Invoice price. That would be the right thing to do.

    She stated I could come pick out another sectional. I said, "NO. You find the piece in another warehouse," and she said I could only get it from the warehouse that's delivers to my area even though it may be available at another warehouse, maybe in GA. She said they don't do that. Well why NOT? You screwed up and I'm suppose to pay for a piece of furniture that you failed to deliver as promised. NOT HAPPENING. YOU WILL NEVER HAVE MY BUSINESS OR ANY OTHER BUSINESS OF ANY OF MY FRIENDS OR FAMILY. I will make sure this review will be all over the internet and even go to the store and tell everyone that's there not to buy from them.

    We ordered our couch on 3/27/20. We were ok with it being delivered on 5/15/20 Bc of the pandemic. Then, we got 2 diff pieces for which we have tried to fix ever since. Now it's 6/22/20 and we can't get it fixed. We even went in person to the store and they just told us to call customer service. Horrible customer service! I DONT WANT 2 DIFFERENT COUCHES! Especially when I have to work from home bc of COVID.

    My wife and I bought a counter height Dining room table, bar stools and bench. It has been 5 years and the stools and bench look like antiques that have been in the family for years. It started about 2 years after we purchased the furniture. My wife called and complained about how the chairs are peeling and they said it is out of warranty. We also purchased a couch, love seat that reclines about a year later and does not hold up well. The sections where you sit broke down so when you sit on them it feels like you are sitting in a hole. Will never purchase another piece from ROOMS TO GO again. It's garbage.

    So, now I understand why rooms to go has a 1-star rating. I bought a bookcase from their online store thinking this will be an easy situation. I received the bookcase after a couple of weeks and noticed the box was damaged. I understand that shipping can be harsh so I didn't think much of it. I opened the package the following morning to see that there was a large hole in the center of the bottom shelf. No big deal, bad shipping happens.

    I called customer service expecting a basic response. The customer representative told me that the special orders department strictly talks in email and that no one can get in contact with them. They then said you have to wait 2 business days for a reply. They then said you have to wait 5 business days for a reply. Now they are saying that we'll get to you when we get to you. They only want to respond via email and somehow their customer representatives aren't able to get in contact with their special orders department. I have been waiting with a broken bookcase at my house for over a week. When their products come in undamaged, they are functionally fine and cheap. If you experience any issues whatsoever and need to talk to their customer service, they are garbage.
