I purchased a mattress and the mattress got damaged due to a manufacturing failure. Rooms To Go customer service sent a technician in my home and the problem was acknowledged. The mattress has been discontinued and to get an equivalent quality mattress the store was charging $160 extra (I paid $800 in my original one - 20% extra). The store manager in charge did not solve my problem and rejected to return my money and get the damaged mattress back. I called RTG customer service and they also did not solve my problem. Now my options are to get a lower quality mattress on the same price I paid or pay extra to get a similar product. RTG is really helpful prior to sell their products but if you have a problem afterwards you are stuck. I do not recommend this store.

I purchased two pieces sectional and dining table in Dec 2021. Delivery went well but the dining chairs were installed incorrectly and damaged by the techs. We called and they sent two new techs out to repair it, who attempted to and then said the chairs were damaged beyond repair and replacements would be sent. After a month we were contacted and told they had discontinued that line and we couldn’t get replacements. We were issued a credit and told to keep the set.
We returned and made another purchase with the store credit. In early spring 2022 we were contacted via phone asking to schedule pick up of the broken dining set. I explained we had been resolve the issue of their breakage at our expense. The rep apologized and “noted the account” and hung up. Rinse and repeat this conversation in April.
Now, a year later we have received an invoice for the broken table that we’ve already purchased and had repaired at our own expense. I was told that a credit should not have been issued if the table wasn’t collected and as such we owe them for the price of the table. I replied that I am not willing to pay for a broken table twice and they can come get it instead. I was told that it had been more than 48 hours from delivery and it was too late, I just had to pay. So, even though MULTIPLE people within the Rooms To Go organization told us to keep the table AND a credit was issued without their taking it back into their possession, a full YEAR later I’m being asked to pay for the table (that their team broke) again.

The first person could not help me at all. I had to call back and the second person did not even attempt to resolve my issue, very Very poor customer service. I have bought furniture from Rooms to Go over the past 22 years and I will never step foot in a Rooms to Go again. Totally disappointed.

Even if you are told that you have a 100 day sleep trial, do NOT believe them. I ended up buying a Purple Mattress hybrid. I waited the 2 days before sleeping on it. It did not full expand and at the end of the mattress there are dips from where it was rolled. After contacting customer service and letting them know that I did not like the mattress and sent pictures of the defect, I was told that I could not return it. I explained that the sales associate told me that I had 100 days to try it out and it would be NO problem to return if I was not happy. This is simply NOT true. Even with a defect, they want to exchange it out.
I have told them that I do not like the mattress and just want to return it. They are willing to give me store credit but are going to charge a $100 pickup fee. They do not sell the mattress that I believe will be the best for me. So, I am now stuck with a $2500 credit from a company that I do not want anything to do with! Purple Mattress offers free returns, but apparently this does not extend to any retailers. As a side note, I had ordered a bedroom set that was delivered the week prior to the mattress.
A few days after delivery, I received a call from the sheriff's department asking why I had dumped furniture boxes on private property. I was confused and told him that I had Rooms to Go deliver furniture and they took all the boxes. He was able to verify that the Room to Go delivery people disposed of boxes with my name/address on private property. I didn't make a big deal, but after the company not offering me a refund for a defective bed, I am going to post my story and hope that no one else has to endure a "store credit" for a defective mattress!

Bought a sofa that when it arrived was not like the one on the floor. Lumpy cushions. Uneven seams and seat cushions so hard you can't sit on the sofa. Delivery man called it in and even agreed it was poor quality. After speaking with customer service I am to get 20% of my money back on a $1700+ bill. I was informed by my salesman Tom that when asked point blank if I could get my money back if it didn't work he said yes! Asked to speak to the manager. Was on hold for 32 min and still didn't get to talk to him. BUYER BEWARE. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR MERCHANDISE.

Do not buy it! I got a $2240 “New” Cindy Crawford Sectional sofa facing right that was delivered on November 14th and it came totally defective and with a huge hole on it. The delivery guys a man with his 16 years old son witnessed it when we opened it and I did complain. The driver that delivered it with his son said to me to give it a time that because it was in a box. It would get right in place with time. After a couple days the hole still in the sofa I decided to call Rooms to Go that said they would send a technician to fix it before replacing. They came on November 23th day before thanksgiving. 2 guys, they took picture and did confirm that the piece was defective and nothing was done. It’s December 05th and I called Rooms to go and they refuse to replace for a new piece even they affirm that the technician confirm the defect. I purchased a new sofa and not used one and this one it’s completely messed up. It came totally defective and now I am spending money with attorney at small claims at court.

Hello people, Please consider not buying extended insurance when buying furniture from Rooms To GO. It's a waste of money. No matter what happens to your furniture, they will find a way to not pay you when you submit a claim. Usually, they provide Fortegra insurance when you buy furniture and charge you around 20% of the furniture price. This company is crap. Bad customer service and will not listen to your concern. They will just keep saying what they think and trust me you can not win with these guys. They will always find something written contract and based on that they will deny your claim.

I ordered Dining table set in October and it was delivered on 29th. I found the table base was broken and chairs were unstable. After speaking to customer service, they fixed the chairs on 12th Nov and scheduled for replacement for Dining table on 30th Nov. The 2nd time also they brought broken table top and did not replace it. It's been more than 1.5 months for a single product and now they gave me another 1.5 weeks to deliver the correct item. I really don't have faith on these people now as table quality and delivery so bad (Price is above 2300$). I also never received any survey call after the delivery was made and when I asked the same question, I was told that they called me. This is the last time I am buying anything from Rooms to Go.

I ordered furniture when I moved into an apartment in November of 2021. I received a large box that contained the set of 3 tables I ordered. They were packaged poorly because there was too much inside and as a result the edges of the coffee table were damaged. I contacted the company immediately to request that something new done about it and I was told they would send out a new one. The men who were in charge of sending the new one apparently could not find my address and did not call me, I never knew they just left without delivering it. I called the company and was told what happened and the lady asked me what my address was, then confirmed that they did have the correct address on file and should not have gotten lost.
Months passed and no new table. I called again and was told they would send someone out to look at the damage. The man came and took photos of it and said they'd get back to me. They never did. This month I decided to try again, requesting a refund because nothing has been done and it has been a year now. I was told I cannot be refunded and that I need to take photos of the damage and email them. This is the absolute worst customer service I've experienced, the company does not take responsibility for anything and they won't offer any real solutions.

We purchased a sleeper sofa from Rooms to Go. The salesperson also sold us the 3-year Fortegra Service Contract. The Fortegra brochure we were given states both Manufacturer's defects and accidental damage were covered. Fortegra brochure is pictured below for your review. This service brochure is deceptive, it DOES NOT cover accidental damage once the piece is delivered inside the home. Language is fine print within the actual 5 page Fortegra Service Agreement provided after the sale. Accidental damage coverage includes “chips, gouges, heat and burn marks, liquid marks or rings, rips punctures, burn marks, normal food and beverage stains marks, nail polish stains, pet biological stain”. Most of the description of accidental coverage are typical things that could normally occur in the home once the piece is delivered. Fortegra brochure is pictured below for your review.
The sleeper sofa base separated from the frame, I reported this to Rooms To Go, a Tech arrived at our home as scheduled, and when I called to check on the status of the claim was told it was denied because it was not a manufacturer’s defect and was not covered under accidental damage. If the separation from the base due to a bad piece of wood and screw is not a manufacturer's defect I don’t know what is, and how about accidental damage anyways?
The deceptive sales practice in selling this service contract by Rooms to Go who the salesperson represented as being inclusive of all accidental damage was also deceitful and dishonest. I’ve never heard of furniture being delivered that already had burn marks, food or beverage stains, nail polish, or pet biological stains. These things most always exclusively occur AFTER the furniture is within the customer’s home, not before. As Rooms to Go response to seeing these complaints, which number in the dozens on this site, has been to ask the customer to send them their information, well here it is AGAIN, sales invoice number ** and the Fortegra service contract number is **, date of sale 3-29-21.
DON’T BELIEVE THE FORTEGRA SALES BROCHERE – READ the fine print in the Fortegra 5 page contact which defines accidental damage is covered prior to the piece being delivered to the home. Once inside the home, no accidental damage is covered. What good is that? TOTAL DECEPTIVE language in the brochure. Furthermore the 5 page contract prohibits taking RTG to court or participating in a class action suit. RTG covered all their bases so they can continue to mislead the public into paying for a worthless service agreement.

Went to the store looking for US made sofa/loveseat. The salesperson was very nice, and we found a set we liked and purchased it. First moment of "what on earth" came when I asked for the extended warranty policy. I was handed a laminated sheet that related to the terms and conditions of the sale and not the policy as I requested. I ignored this because I was paying less than $200 for the warranty and, working in the legal field, I know I would hold their feet to the fire if I ever needed warranty and the warranty company tried to play any games with me.
Things went south when I accidentally learned that the salesperson misrepresented to us that the set was US made when it was, in fact, made in Vietnam. Eventually, after many calls, I learned that the manufacturer is a company named "Happy Furniture" out of Vietnam. I immediately cancelled delivery of the set and requested a full refund.
I spoke with the store manager who claimed there must have been some misunderstanding as the salesperson in question has been with RTG for decades. I disagree with such assessment because I pointedly asked the salesperson the question about the furniture's provenance on three separate occasions and on each such instance, he didn't merely represent the furniture as US made but went beyond by stating that shipping assembled furniture from Asia was cost prohibitive hence these sets were made in the US.
While I am still waiting for the refund, the store manager and front office have stated that the full refund should be applied within 7-10 days. So, not so happy furniture to me. Now looking for a US made set in other stores. No more RTG for us, ever. Experiences such as this remind me that one cannot truly trust salespeople. Ask, investigate, research, always be careful. That's what I have been reminded of by this experience.

We bought a sofa and a very expensive recliner. The furniture was delivered about a month ago and the quality is so bad. The recliner is flat where you sit already and hard as a rock. The sales person bragged about the quality of the furniture but it is horrible. The sofa also has dents where you sit and has become hard to sit on also. We spent over 3,000 on this and are very disappointed. The color of the recliner isn't even what we ordered. I have sat on furniture in Big Lots that is more comfortable than this.

I purchase quality merchandise and approaches the warranty with it. I had a problem because the stitching wasn't right on my quality leather furniture. The gentleman brought one piece out. It was not this right. We came back two other times and didn't even deliver. I'm a heart patient and I can't keep going through this so what I'm going to do is take the pictures I have and go follow us claim and small claims court. Can't keep going through this with these people and then I read the reviews and reviews show just what I said. They come and don't deliver or stuff is on the truck and they are lazy. I'm not having it. I work too hard for the money I get in the things I have so small claims court it'll be. I suggest the rest do the same.

The salesman, Mr. Aciel ** was very pleasant, informative and knowledgeable about the products we were interested to buy, a living room set. He showed us different types of quality sets and suggested one that suited us our need. I purchased a sofa and loveseat October 2021, and was talked into purchasing an extended warranty by the salesman, stating it would cover anything that goes wrong. Well that was a complete lie. I watch my special needs granddaughter from time to time, last week she had an accident on the loveseat, she peed through her diaper. We tried to clean it with the products that were provided at the time of purchase but it left a stain. I went online and filed a claim with Guardian "extended warranty", and was told they don't cover urine from humans but if were my dog they would cover it. Does this make any sense to you. So the only option I have now according to the corporate office is to buy another cushing at my expense. Be careful with what Rooms to Go offers you, It may not be true.,

We purchased furniture for my new house. All products came with some defects. Every time needed replacement. Done replacement thrice for king bed and set. Dresser came with lot of damages. Every time need to call them for defects and replacement. Salesperson and Manager on the Arlington Rooms to Go store was not helpful, not hearing what’s the customer complaint, instead they are focusing only on the money and focusing on sales only. They are not helpful, totally worst service, time waste. Don’t ever choose rooms to go. Customer service is very poor. They need to improve on customer satisfaction and product quality. If product is good, we do not need to waste time in calling them for damages and defects.

I would recommend not buying furniture from RTG and if you don't even bother with the Fortegra Service Contract. In my experience I purchased a sleeper sofa and a love seat. A year later both became damaged from normal use. I called RTG on Aug 25, they only came out to our house 6 weeks later to assess the state of the furniture. It took them 4 to 5 more weeks to give me an answer. Btw, I had to follow up several times to get an answer. They approved the fix of the sleeper but not the loveseat. Together they both cost us $2662. To fix the sleeper I have to now call RTG and coordinate with them to pick up the sleeper, take it for a week or 2 and then bring it back. Never again am I buying from RTG and never again will I take a service contract from Fortegra. It's a scam in my opinion.

I purchased a bed from the location on SW Freeway several months ago and the bed was on sale for $595. I went into the store and the associate was more interested in taking care of his people and rushing me by selling me a bed I did not want and gave me false information leading me to believe the bed has the pressure points, gel, pocketed coils and would help with my back problems. Within 3 months the bed was dipping on my and my husband's side of the bed and we are not overweight. There is a hump in the middle of the mattress and it's only gotten worse. Bad experience and waste of my time and money.

This lady sold me a Fireplace Console on 10-22-2022, everything went fine, the delivery date was for December 1, 2022, now I’m placing the payments online, for my surprise my delivery was placed for 12/20/2022, when she told me the it was for December 1,2022, I called in the store. Now they said the delivery they have available is for January 18, 2023, I consider this and scam, they tell you what they want to sell the item, that is not right. I fell so mad and frustrated, I’m writing this review and as soon as I have a chance I’m planning to stop by and speak with the manager, 1 star ⭐️ for this Rooms to Go which is the one on, 10623 NW 12th ST, Doral, Fl so if you go to buy there make sure to check you delivery date, shame on you.

They scheduled the delivery within 4 hours window but it was delivered after 8 hours and the second delivery never arrived after 8 hours waiting. The first delivery product was defective and I called to replace. I have no idea if they are sending replacement.

I purchased a table and chair set back in November of 2021 and almost a year later to the date I do not have it! It was promised to be delivered in May 2021 but was delayed till July. Finally received the set but to my annoyance, it was delivered broken. Rooms to Go scheduled the pedestal of the table to be delivered in September and again was delayed until October 27th. I received a call this morning that the pedestal is broken and they will not be delivering it. After many "MA'AMs " and "sorry for the inconvenience" Really Matt- how sorry are you that my family has been eating on a makeshift table in our kitchen waiting for this stupid table we had saved and saved for? The table was purchased in South Carolina, I live in MA and they told me my only option is to select a new table within 30 days and they will deliver it. Why would I want to continue to go through this ordeal? I just want my money back and take my business elsewhere.

We bought a wrap around couch in 2020. One of the recliners broke. We called to have it serviced and finally someone came out. When we moved the chair to see the damage we see that the spring had damaged the floor. We took pictures of the floor for a claim. We were denied the floor because we waited too long to file it. Well it took them forever to come pick the recliner up and fix it. When the recliner was moved to go for repair there is more damage to the floor. I emailed the lady who was handling the claim and never heard back. Wrap around are not easy to move to check, but I decided to check the rest of the wood floor under the couch and in places it is really bad. I have scratches all under the wrap around. I am either going to have to get new furniture before I replace the floor or put a rug under it.
The moral is the insurance cover the recliner, but my floor is bad from scratching from the wrap around. Calling the service department was bad. It took them a long time, many calls, and speaking to management before we got it fixed. Also the material on the couch is not holding up good. So all around I will not be buying anything else from them. This took place 9/2022. If you get the warranty pay attention to the days you have to report damage of the floor. I would report the new damage, but I am seriously over this company.

I purchased a dining and bedroom set from rooms to go last year (July/Aug). After waiting for a partial delivery in December of the dining room table and dresser, both items were defective. The wooden table was severely scratched, the dresser was faded, had rough edges and the inside lining of the drawers were stained and faded. Rooms to Go Sent a tech out weeks later in which he used a black marker on my brown dresser to correct the rough edges. Needless to say, both dresser and table needed to be replaced. Finally receiving the 2 night stands and one fell apart when I opened it..literally the wood fell from the top drawer to the bottom. Rooms to go agreed to replace both items; however, with another 6 months wait.
Here we are 6 months later and finally receive the replacement dresser and Nighy stand. They're worse than the first ones received. The dresser has a deep scratch/dent on both the drawers and bottom. The night stand is deeply scratched on the top. Of course customer support is now closed but will certainly be hearing from me Monday morning. Please save your money and spare yourself the headache of dealing with this company. I spent thousands of dollars to receive scratch and dent furniture.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!! Be very careful when you buy any piece of furniture that you have seen through the Rooms To Go website, and that it is sold through vendor direct..The first thing is that they do not show it in any of their RTG showrooms, so can't see it in person, and they are overpriced, neither the sales representative nor the store Customer Service give you a delivery date, nor a tracking number, so have to track your merchandise by directly with the carrier, and RTG will not be responsible for your delivery....You have to assemble your furniture by yourself, bacause RTG not give you any other option....
But the worst part of all of this is that they (the vendor) send you furniture that is not the one that you bought, not the same that Rooms to Go shows on its website, that is they show you a piece of furniture and after you bought it, then send you another (vendor direct)..... You received nothing like what you bought with no quality.... And don't try make any kind of return the furniture because there is no return or refund according to the vendor's return policy; RTG sale representative not advice the customer about the return policy of Vendor Direct, when you buy the furniture in the store, as I did, and it is not specified in RTG website either,...So at the end I lost my money $1300 buying on an overpriced bed, very bad quality, which is not the one I bought, nor the same one show on the RTG website, and can not return it, It is a joke!!..
It's outrageous that RTG allow a customer be scammed and RTG does not show even the slightest effort to help the customers to solve something that was not your fault, RTG should be more involved in VENDOR DIRECT SALES, and supervise them, since in my case I was deceived, but on the contrary RTg "cleans his hands", and not take actions against them....SO NEVER BUY IN RTG THROUGH VENDOR DIRECT, BECAUSE THEY SCAM YOU,,, RTG SHAME ON YOU....NEVER AGAIN!!!

The couch has a bar in the back that hits me in the the lower back. I can no longer sit in the chair after paying $3800 for two of them. I called and told Rooms To Go in April of 2023. We bought them in November of 2022. We were out of state for 4 months and I called again. They sent a service man to the house. He said that he had seen this problem before but he couldn’t do anything. They called me back after a few days and said they wouldn’t do anything because it is part of the sofa. Beware of what they tell you at the store. They don’t back the product.

Please do NOT purchase this sofa. I bought this couch 9 months ago. 4 months in, the fabric stitching fibers on the cushions started to come loose. I called customer service and they sent me the slip for the bad cushion, the other two cushions weren’t as bad, so they told me to wait until they pretty bad. They sent me the wrong cushion side slip not once but twice. I decided to replace the slip on the cushion they sent me by mistake, and those slips are huge and they fit terrible. The arm rests are hollow so they make a squeaky hollow sound when you put your arm on them. The back rest cushions lose their fluff very quick. You can tell which side we sit the most because that back rest cushion is pretty much flat. The middle cushion when you sit on it it squeaks too. Overall, it’s a horrible cheap made couch. Sadly, I paid almost $800 for it and I’m still paying for it. I’m ready to replace it, I’m that upset about it.

When we purchased our new home, we spent over $20,000 to furnish it in December 2019. An entire living room set, two kids bedroom sets, a king bedroom set, and furniture for a home office. In February of 2021, we purchased an outdoor patio set (6 chairs with a dining set, a couch, two chairs with ottomans, 2 end tables, and fire pit) and after being told it would be 4 months to have delivered, it turned into 1 year and 2 weeks. Even so, we were still going to purchase a new bedroom set for our guest room and another sectional or sofa set for our extra loft area. However, after less than 3 years the Eric Church leather sectional is falling apart. We purchased the warranty on every piece of furniture because we were told it would protect our purchase for 3 years to ensure satisfaction.
This is the biggest scam as now that the sectional is separating, recliners not working properly, and the leather is peeling, Fortegra will not cover anything. We were a military family and have bought so much furniture from this company during multiple moves. I am not sure if the quality has just decreased but I do not believe we will be purchasing our extra sets from them. So disappointed that after being a loyal customer since 2007, we have to find a new furniture store.

I purchase a sofa on October 2 and was told by the salesman that it would be delivered that Thursday the 7th. My appt have been canceled twice to the 13th and 15th (TODAY). They just called to cancel again to the 17th. The rep told she would have a manager call me. He hasn't called yet. I should not have bought anything else from because 4yrs I have to wait a whole month for the complete mattress and boxspring set. Hopefully I won't have to await a month for my sofa. I will never again buy from them.

I purchased an Aqua leather reclining sofa and within months the "leather" started peeling. Leather doesn't peel!! Paid $1200 for fake material. I contacted the company because I purchased a warranty and was informed this was not covered in the warranty! Had I cut the couch or wrote on the couch I would be covered!! A total rip off!! I also sent them detailed pictures!!!!

My stepson went to the store and was shown a bed. The price, $3181, was far more than he had, but the salesperson talked him into getting it under a rent to own plan recommended by the store, provided by Acceptancenow. The Acceptancenow rep said the monthly rent to purchase was about $400. The agreement was presented on a small screen and signed electronically. He did not say that as soon as one agreed to rent the bed, the total price we owed went up to almost $9000! We did not know that until we saw it on a credit report. This is a near tripling in price the moment you sign! Yes, it's in the fine print, but it was unreadable on the screen and the salesperson only stated the cash price and the rent.
Acceptance Now and the store manager both denied there was anything they could do to change it. If you agree to a lease purchase with Rooms to Go you will be in debt the rest of your life. We are out almost $3000 already and could not settle the loan without another $3000 in cash now. The marketing of the loan was obviously deceptive but the claim of the store and Acceptancenow, its subsidiary, is that if we were stupid enough to sign the agreement without carefully reading every word we deserve to be left in poverty. The internet lists hundreds of similar complaints against Acceptancenow.

I purchased this on 2017 and I know is out of guarantee. I requested that I need someone to fix it and I will pay for the parts and service no problem, Rooms to Go told me that they will send somebody if the furniture was under guarantee, I explained that I will pay for all it's needed and they rejected to send someone. This company does not back their products even with pay service. I am so sorry I have purchase at Rooms to Go. Never Again and if anybody is planning to purchase here think again.

Bought a bedroom set, couldn't deliver the bed portion for 90 days delivered the rest of the set. but the bed portion did not fit the king size bed I bought from them and now I am stuck with half a set. then I ordered a dining room table before the set was delivered and of course so broken only a sledgehammer make better by destroying it. Calling customer service was a joke, had to make so many calls just to get a refund, I even had one rep laugh at what happen to me and how I lost so much money because of it and calling 4-5 reps to get a refund and then to have them call and harass me due to the fact that I spoke with their supervisor. Too much drama for me. Never again. PS. They do not care about their customers.

I purchased a sofa chair. The salesperson who assisted asked if I would like the insurance and I declined. She then stated that she would waive the delivery fee if I would get the insurance and I agreed. But what she failed to do is state that information in the delivery notes. When the delivery drivers arrived they informed me that this was a “doorway” delivery, which means they drop it off at the door and do not setup because there was no delivery fee. The drivers insisted that they were not going to take the chair upstairs until I told them they could return to the store. They called their manager and decided to take the chair upstairs, but they did not setup. A customer service agent called me the next day and told me that they would have a manager call me. I never received a call, I emailed and still no response.

Ordered a mattress and was told they would take the old mattress, box spring, and bed frame and when the delivery guys arrived was told they would not take the bed frame and then told “Sorry they have a small stain. We don’t take them away unless in pristine condition." The website states that as long as there aren’t any large stains they will take it and the email stated that they would take the old mattress with delivery of a new one. The delivery drivers then stained my new mattress with their gloves and I am to receive an exchange. I called to try to change the appointment time of the exchange and was told that they weren’t able to do that, it’s a different department. When I asked for the department information I was told that they couldn’t give that information out. I tried rescheduling on the website and was unable to do so as well.

I received an email from their verification team a few days prior to delivery. I proceeded to call the number and was asked to provide information like my first 4 numbers of my social security. Under a threat of my order being canceled. As a law enforcement officer this just sent red flags in the air. I asked if I could just go to a store and verify myself or call customer service to see if the email was legit. The woman on the phone again said my order would be canceled.
As this didn't seem correct, I hung up and called customer service to confirm, which they did. As they transferred me back over to verification a new spokesperson told me my order was canceled and he clearly just didn't care, as this is just business as usual. Not only as I thought this was absolutely insane, as I just had $3,300 of furniture delivered the previous week to the same address.
After being on the phone with various people for an hour my only option was to go into the store. This is where I found out not only did they just cancel my order, the lady put a whole freeze on my number so I couldn't make any purchases. You read that correct, they canceled my order and then froze my number because I wanted to verify the email was legitimate. I've spent thousands with them over the years. This is the very last time as their verification team clearly has no respect for people and their concerns. Nor do I think they should have access or ask for my social.

We were purchasing bedroom and living room furniture for my daughter at the Millenia location in Orlando. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a very nice lady, named Peggy Acevedo. She listened to our needs and made good suggestions. She guided us around the store, showing various options. She was very polite, not at all pushy, and really helpful. She guided my daughter through the process of getting credit for the purchase. In the end we walked out with an order that was to be fulfilled in two parts. Later we found out that her apartment would be available a week later, so we were able to reschedule the delivery just 2 days in advance. They were not sure it would be possible, but it was.
On the day of delivery, I was a bit nervous having read some horror stories online about the delivery part of it. Luckily, the first delivery was perfect. All the parts were delivered, expertly assembled and in perfect condition! I am looking forward to the 2nd delivery with optimism now. I wrote this review since the company deserves to be successful considering how great a job they did. Even if there were problems in the past, I was very happy with the whole experience so far.

Don’t shop there. They sell low grade products that they don’t stand behind warranties. We bought a couch from them. Within MONTHS the fabric started coming apart. So they sent a “tech” out to shave the material down. Not replace the cushions, but shave material off of them. We have now had a tech come out 3 times for the same issue. The tech himself said this will keep happening until you can see through your cushions, and you’ll have to replace the couch anyway.
Rooms To Go refuses to issue a credit to select a different couch, offer a refund for a defective product, or do anything “until the service dept closes out your service by calling you with the results.” In 3 such visits - service has called us exactly 0 times regarding any of it. When calling they refuse to let me speak with a manager of any kind, or offer any way to resolve the garbage quality couch they sold us. Next step is BBB, small claims court to get our money back, and as many online reviews as possible to help others avoid this mess.

Have never experienced such an unprofessional & non-existent level of customer service in dealing with ANY other retail operation & would never set foot in another RTG store. Have sent 1/2 "dozen" emails to the customer service contact address on the website & received ZERO reply. Have hung up in frustration after making over a dozen calls to their 800 service number & holding for 1/2 hour with NO answer. NO way to contact the "local" store where the purchase was made since the "local" calls are put on hold & then automatically transferred to the same useless 800 number which is not answered. NO way to make adjustments to the delivery information online as "claimed" since the website directs you to call the useless 800 number. It is a "circus act" of confusion & purposely misleading information. Wish we had checked the ABUNDANCE OF COMPLAINTS about RTG "before" making our purchase. Never again.

I purchased a dining room set in Feb 2021. The cost was $1100 total. About 3 months ago, the screws came out of one of the chairs and won't screw back in. On yesterday on another chair, the screws came out. I contacted online customer service today and was told the set is out of warranty. I've never had chairs come apart from basically just sitting on them and I'm talking even chairs I had for 5 plus years. The person then said if I would have said something a few months ago, they could have assisted. That's not true as I would have been told the same thing about the set being out of warranty. For the price I paid for the set, this is all totally unacceptable for the chairs to be coming apart in this short time span. This was my first time buying something from Rooms To Go and it looks like it'll be the last.

Updated on 09/03/2025: I have always regarded RTG as a great affordable mid-range furniture store. Nothing too high end and not sub-par either. However, my last purchase in 2021 turns out to be a bad decision on my part. I bought the ERIC CHURCH Highway To Home Power Recliner Chair, Loveseat and Couch totaling $6,000.00. Within a few months a recliner on the couch failed to close. I was under warranty (even bought the extended warranty) so I called for service. Not only did the part take nearly 2 months to get here (and you can't call for service until you have the part in hand) but that part (footrest actuator) which they said was defective, wasn’t the issue at all! It was the control switch on the side. Luckily the tech that came out had one on the truck. Took nearly 3 mos. from beginning to end, but all ends well, right?
Well this week (4 years later) again the recliner failed to close, this time it was the Chair. Of course my extended warranty expired 4 months ago, but i don’t care at this point, i just need the part. I have called RTG twice for assistance in getting the parts and they have told me, that although these parts might be in newer furniture series, because MINE is discontinued, they can no longer help me! I was quite emphatic about these parts should be in their inventory as they are on newer models, they repeatedly said because my set was discontinued they can no longer provide ANY service to me in any way! I tried to have the call escalated and the answer was “you’ve called corporate, there is no escalation from here and there is nothing else they will do for me as per company policy”. Never again RTG, you’ve lost yet another customer and I have a very big and loud mouth!
Original review: On January 27/2021, we purchased the Eric Church collection reclining sofa for $3,000.00 along with an extended 3 year warranty by Fortegra for $184. On May 26th, 2022 the footrest motor suddenly stopped working. I called Customer Service and they started the service ticket. In June 3rd, a technician came, confirmed what I reported was accurate and said a Part would be ordered. On June 9th, said part was ordered. I have since called in for updates numerous times as no one has been able to give me information apart from “we are sorry for this delay“.
When I called the warranty company they said it’s up to RTG as to how and when they want to handle this. I am told today (08/30/22) 96 days later, that I have a tracking number for UPS but the part still has not shipped. The absolute worse “after sale” service one can expect. “Thank you for your money, but good luck in having any issues resolved within a 4 month window.“ Never again RTG, NEVER.

I bought a sectional for a few grand. A bit pricey but seemed nice. They set a delivery date around 2 weeks out, which I already wasn’t happy about. So I wait the first week and then I get a message from Viviana Lora at Rooms to Go finance at 11:33 in the morning telling me I have to call her to verify my identity. She says I have to contact her before 2pm in order to keep the order delivery date. 2 and a half hours!? Or my already ridiculous delivery date is delayed even further because you feel my order needs some sort of verification? No thanks. Canceled the whole thing. Who gives someone 2.5 hours to respond to an email? Extremely unprofessional experience.

RTG used to have a good reputation for reasonably priced made in the USA furniture so when we needed to replace quite a few pieces of furniture we went there. Wow how times have changed in past 15 years. They do a hard sell and promise the moon but when furniture arrives the “Yes they will take away all 3 of your old mattresses no charge” becomes "Sorry they have a small stain. We don’t take them away unless in pristine condition." Then the furniture-seems OK in showroom as it has been sat on many times. In reality seat cushions hard as rocks so I had to get an upholsterer to make new cushion inners.
Also the fabric which is less than 2 months old is fraying and the cushions move forward when sitting. Chair legs are cracked and screws stripped so cannot adjust. All in all a bad experience and I have 2 years of non interest finance to keep reminding me of what a fool I was to spend 10 thousand on stuff that will probably won’t last a year. As for answering my complaints - 3 emails none of which they have resounded to.

Our family ordered a sofa that was delivered 11/16/2021 to our home in FL. We used the sofa in Florida until 02/02/22 at which point the sofa was moved by a professional moving company to an occupied house where it was stored and unused for four months until 6/10/22. At this point, The sofa was in perfect working condition and served us well until 08/14/2022. On this date my husband sat down on the couch in a normal manner, heard a crack and noticed that the frame on the front right side broke and dropped 3 inches. This sofa was only used 5 months. As a family we were thankful to have a one year warranty to fix or replace the sofa. Upon speaking to customer service, we informed them of the move and they said our new address was outside of the service area and asked that we send pictures for review. They stated their manager would come up with a plan for repair.
We sent two emails with pictures with no response. A week later, we followed up. After some investigation the customer service agent stated that Rooms To Go has included a clause to not cover this type of defect due to our move. We were intensely dismayed and have now been almost two weeks without a couch and no solution. This is poor business, poor communication and poor response time. Customers should not feel comfortable with purchasing furniture that does not hold up to even 6 months of use and a company that takes advantage of their customers. We have been repeat customers over the years and had planned to purchase another couch soon and a possible bedroom set. We are sad that we will need to take our business elsewhere and encourage others to do the same.

I first purchased a bedroom set that just came out in Boca Raton Florida. It was great working with Lynn the sales representative. But when the delivery guys came this is where it all went downhill. First when they put the headboard together on my bed room set they stripped out all the screws due to them not having the proper tools to install the furniture. Then they put the headboard on crooked. I had to go myself when they left. Remove it and reinstall it correctly. Then when one of the guys brings the side table in the bedroom he slides it across the whole floor damaging my floor to get it up against the wall. These guys were very careless and do not have the proper tools to work on Rooms To Go furniture. I hope I hear from rooms to go regarding this matter as I am not happy how this all went down.

Do not order online!! You have to return furniture within 48 hours of receiving if you're not satisfied!! That's absurd!! So if your furniture is not the desired color, breaks, or is the wrong size, they will not accept a return. You are STUCK with something you don't want and a bill of you charged it!! Next again!! This is a scam that Rooms To Go is part of it! Rooms To Go sells Fortegra accidental damage coverage, which is 4 Warranty Corp, which is Lyndon Southern Ins. Co., they don't cover anything, they just want your money. Term: begins on the date of delivery for a period of 3 years...but... Don't buy it, save your money for a better furniture that will last longer.

I ordered a sofa that was delivered 10/29/21 to my home in GA. It went immediately onto a moving truck for a work apartment in Chicago. It was unloaded 11/4/21. It was a great, comfy couch for 9 months until the frame under one of the legs gave out. Note: I live alone & travel 60% of the time, so it was barely used. Rooms to Go is not honoring their warranty because 'it was moved from its delivery location' - even though it was never used there. The supervisor said I can't prove it wasn't damaged in moving (which I can as I have photos of it in Chicago in perfect condition starting Nov 4, 2021) and then she said it probably broke because people sat on it (well, it's a couch - true statement!). Unbelievable that they are not standing behind the quality of their furniture on a technicality and unbelievable that it only lasted 9 months and was barely used!

Called for warranty information and spoke with Tonya. Trying to get something worked out to replace an item that was delivered broken. Tonya sounded completely uninterested in helping, either scrolling Facebook on her phone or high on something. Completely uninterested in helping. Sounded like she was just reading a script. When I asked for a supervisor because she sounded like she was high or half asleep she must have put her phone down or something because she woke right up and got angry and defensive. After being on hold for 10 minutes she came back to the call with a "message" from the supervisor. I never got to speak with them in person. She said that they were not responding but they sent her that message? Is that not a response? Did she actually ask for a supervisor or just blow me off?

1 year ago my husband and I purchased a kingvale recliner sofa set, love seat, individual, and 3 seat sofas. We spend over 5000 dollars on this set. Of course after we paid that price we want to add extended warranty that will COVER EVERYTHING ANY DAMAGE THE SOFAS HAS IN THE PERIOD OF 5 YEARS. This is what the sales person told us!!! Well that is not true. 8,9 month after the 3 seat sofa started to get bad making weird noise when you seat landing on one side, cushion flat and a big ball of foam on one side of the sofa. I call few time under manufacturing warranty not results nothing was cover. I call under the extended warranty something nothing is cover. So what I do now? I have a 5000 dollars sofas looking like a 10 year old

We bought a sleeper couch with a pull-out cushion from Rooms to Go about 1 1/2 years ago. This couch is in a bonus room that is only used occasionally. Recently part of the pull-out cushion collapse when someone was getting on it. We call the Rooms to Go customer service because we were surprised it broke so easily. They said it was out of warranty so, we tried to see if we could fix it ourselves. When we looked at the bottom of the cushion, we noticed that there was a knot in the place where the wood broke. Therefore, only a very small portion of the board was solid and could support the weight of a person.
We called the Rooms to Go customer service (Kara) and they again said they wouldn't support their product, even though it was clearly defective. We understand this product is out of warranty, but this is clearly a defective product and not a typical situation! We will never buy a product from Rooms to Go again and recommend going to another furniture company to buy your furniture because of the poor quality and mostly because Rooms to Go doesn’t stand by the products they sell!

I have to say they have the worst Online Support and Online sales ever! I had no choice but to do an exchange online for a defective mattress, and after a month of trying to get the mattress I ordered (not damaged - 2 attempts) and then being "upgraded" to a different mattress which was not even the same comfort level, I still do not have this problem solved. Nor the mattress I paid for. Now I have to wait yet another week to get the original mattress I ordered yet again (3 times a charm?). I spent over an hour being shuffled back and forth on the phone because nobody wanted to deal with this. It's like they get the sale and then are done. I have been a Rooms To Go customer for over 30 years and this will be the last time. It only takes one (or in this case 3 different people on the phone) bad customer service experience for me to walk away. Goodbye Rooms To Go!

While in the store we purchased a buffet from their online catalog (order #**). The wait time since it was coming from Vietnam was two months. We discussed with the sales agent that that is a long time but nothing they could do, but we could cancel if we found something during the wait. We were nervous about buying without seeing and the sales agent hand wrote "Site unseen" and signed her name indicating that if we didn't like it, we could return it. Never mentioning a 20% non-returnable fee.
A few days later we called to cancel the order and was informed by the manager that Rooms to Go has a nonrefundable 20% of purchase price. Since the item was roughly $1000 that was a sweet $200 for Rooms to Go. For what a computer input? Oh, the $200 dollars can be used against another purchase, but really, business is built on trust and this company has lost that with us. So, while you read about all the 4 and 5 star reviews that's when everything went well. But, beware of when they don't customer comes second to them. Reminds me of the 1970s.

We purchased the Vercelli leather set, which included one reclining sofa, and 2 recliners. We have only had this furniture for 1.5 years. The reclining mechanisms have broken on BOTH recliners. Considering the price paid for these leather chairs (which still look brand new), it’s absolutely ridiculous for them to both break when we haven’t had them 2 years. If I could give 0 stars I would. I purchased the attached sofa online about a year ago along with the 3-yr extended insurance since the cost was up there. Needless to say right at the year mark the sofa got stuck while family was visiting in the upward reclining position. It's been over 2 months and it's still stuck in the reclining position. The actual storefront won't help with the matter because we made the purchase online which is crazy, believe me I tried to get help from the Newport News office.
After waiting about a month the service tech that did come out said himself he couldn't believe the situation and was very apologetic but said that he was only there to assess the issue since they didn't tell him what the problem was. He told me then it would be about another 2 weeks before anything but he was going to try to put in a rush. There are apparently only 2 service techs in the whole Virginia area what I was told.
It's now been over a month since he came out to assess the issue and still nothing. They are now claiming the part needed (reclining button) is backordered and it could take 90 more days before they can do anything. I'm so disappointed and in disbelief right now. Instead of making a customer wait over 3 months they should just replace the sofa piece rather than waiting on a part that may or may not be the actual issue. I wouldn't recommend purchasing anything ever as they not helpful and as I said it's been over 2 months already and possibly will be waiting another 2 to 3 before anything is done. This is simply not acceptable. I'm pissed beyond words. They will never get my business again.

The customer service on phone calls is extremely poor. The phone agents cannot speak proper English and very difficult to resolve issues on phone. I dislike when I must call to speak to someone. Very Very Poor customer service!!! Very Very Poor!!

In my opinion: After owning this furniture for quite some time, I am convinced it is not the same quality furniture I sat in on the showroom floor. The comfort and quality are not the same. The underside upholstery is rough and unfinished looking, and the fabric is darker. The electric mechanism on the loveseat doesn't feel as solid and the wiring needed repair inside a year's time. I will not shop at Rooms to Go again.

On July 21st we had our bedroom set delivered. It is beautiful but the dresser door was broken. Rooms to Go promptly arranged for a second dresser to be delivered the following day. That dresser came and had no issues however the drivers damaged our walls and floors while moving it in. They also broke the leg off the dresser. I called and arranged for a 3rd exchange on the dresser- why would I pay 3k for a set that had a broken leg? This is getting drawn out now where it took another week for the 3rd to be delivered. Upon arrival, it had a broken door again, as well as gouges down the side edges. Sorry, not going to accept that for something so expensive.
Wait another week and a half for the FOURTH dresser to be delivered. This one came and AGAIN- broken door, screw coming through the cabinet, cracks etc. Now I look insane to these poor drivers who know this is the 4th dresser and I am still not accepting it. Call rooms to go- they are always very nice but say they can’t exchange this one until a technician comes to see if he can fix the one we have. The one with the completely busted off leg. Ok, sure.. if that’s the process. I asked what about my time? 3 extra times now I have had to arrange my schedule to be here during their delivery window. Over the course of weeks. They offer a $40 dollar discount. A slap in the face and I will never again purchase from rooms to go. Their quality is subpar hidden behind friendly customer service representatives. It’s not good enough and it’s not acceptable when you’re spending thousands on a bedroom set. Horrible quality control.

Purchased living room sofa, chaise and chair. Have owned them for 11 months. At 6 months of ownership bottom of sofa became broken. Informed Rooms to Go. Waited 2 months for a service Tech to come by only to be told that He could not repair them. Would need to be referred to someone within the warranty department. Someone would contact me. Waited 3 weeks. No response.
I initiated contact again. Requested what could be done. 3 more weeks to schedule another Tech. Same outcome. Someone from Customer Service would contact me within 3-5 days. No answers. Waited 2 more weeks. Sent pictures of broken furniture that is supposed to be covered under all of their warranties. Told they would review and contact me within 24 hours. Guess what? No response. 6 emails 5 phone calls later was told Rooms to Go determine that this was due to regular wear. Are you kidding me and there was nothing they could do. Awful service, substandard product. Would never purchase anything else from them and would NEVER recommend friend, family or stranger to purchase anything from them ever!
Desired outcome: all I wanted was for them to stand behind their product and accept that this was substandard product and make all necessary repairs to restore to original function order. Instead, they simply choose to deny responsibility.

I paid $1000.00 for a full size bed. There are holes that are not covered. I was told you could add on to this bed. I was told that after I complained about the holes showing. I called three times and each time they sent me the wrong caps to cover the holes. I have never seen anything like this with the holes showing. I would of never purchased the bed if I was told that when I bought it. They did not hand the bed on the showroom floor. I explained to them even if you buy inexpensive furniture they always give you something to cover the holes. I am very disappointed with this bed and will never purchase another thing from them. Check the furniture out before you purchase it because I think it’s looks absolutely terrible with the holes showing.

I ordered a Rooms to Go bedroom online on 05/26 and got the soonest available delivery for 07/07. The delivery was missing the bed headboard so they were unable to assemble the bed and the nightstand was also missing. I called and the customer service rep said they could deliver the missing pieces the next week. The next week came with no answer, so I called and they said they weren’t going to redeliver until 07/21. I’ve asked for some sort of discount or compensation for the major inconvenience (someone was going to use the room) but I haven’t been able to get much. They keep playing a game of redirection, referring me to different departments or people and wasting my time.
The furniture is good quality and the “to-go” idea is very convenient. It’s just unfortunate that they messed up the delivery and are not owning up to their mistakes in a way that makes me feel like a valued customer. It would be nice if a customer service rep could just say “hey I’m so very sorry about our mistake, we’re going to refund you for the nightstand so it will be absolutely free and we’ll get those missing items to you next week” instead of redirecting and dodging the mistake or pretending like there is some mysterious, powerful, 3rd party that the customer service rep has to make a request to (and will inevitably be declined). Mistakes happen, and I’d have been more willing to give 4/5 despite the mistake if Rooms To Go did something to really make up for it… but they didn’t and so I am giving the experience 1 star.

I purchased a king size mattress in Destin Florida on June 20, the first delivery the mattress was not the right mattress, the second delivery was not the right mattress and today July 8 I received a pick up but no delivery. I left a comment on 6/15/2022. Update on that comment they re-delivered another bed and I added two baseboards with it, this time the bed the sides collapsed that night and the baseboard has a rip in it and I called the store and the manager will not call back. They said they issued me a refund on June 20. I never got a dime. I paid $1740 and they said they issued a refund for $458 and I never got anything.
They were supposed to redeliver another set and pick up this set. When they got here today they didn’t have no replacement set and they wanted to take my set and I refused to give it to them because I had no money back or I didn’t have another set to replace it. I would never recommend anybody to shop at that Destin store. The manager is terrible and the customer service is also terrible, I believe that the merchandise that you go in the store to purchase especially a mattress is not the same mattress that you get when they deliver it. Manager Daniel #** was the person that I spoke to, My wife called in on June 24, 2022, and stated that we would like to place our current payment to the back of the loan, we were told that they would do this and the next payment would be due in the month of July. My wife and I were both on the phone and witnessed the conversation. My wife received an email a day ago that said that we were late and she called in and told her that we were late on our payment and need to pay this bill right away.
When we told them of the arrangements that were made they back out of the arrangement and even wanted us to pay a late fee. We spoke to three levels of customer service personnel. Each one was worst than the one before. We were told that they didn't have the option that we were told. These people are unethical and untruthful. This is the second thing that this company has done un morally. I am a disabled veteran and money doesn't come easy. That is the reason why I asked for the extension. We have been longstanding customers in good standing and this is how we were treated and this needs to be known.

I purchased four counter stools at the store on what Rooms to Go calls a "direct from vendor" sale. A month after the purchase, I could not get an update for a delivery date or even a confirmation of shipment. None of the customer support sources or the store could tell me what was going on and there was absolutely no responsibility on the process, as all the answers were "Well, this is direct from vendor, we cannot do anything after the order is placed". After half a dozen calls, I managed to get the order cancelled around two weeks ago, and I still haven't received by credit card refund. My previous experiences with Rooms To Go were much better than this, so I assume this is related to the "direct from vendor" sales model. I strongly recommend improving this process.

Updated on 07/07/2022: I have try to resolved this in many ways. Every time I contact them nobody there to talked me. It took me 5 1/2 to drive there and back to get wrong product. Was not my fault, it was their fault. I've gave it enough time. I'm senior so I am going go the legal way.

I even offered to pay to have it shipped to me. I've sent pictures and etc. I call corporate office even. Said I'd have to come pick it up. Cost me from Ohio to Knoxville Tennessee 700. I'm senior. I placed order in January 22.. May 15, 2022. Items damaged and Late for delivery. June 21 waited all day. Switched my time from am to pm by 2pm. 9pm they call. Say driver is at the door. I woke my spouse up, went to the door, no driver was there. Tom so called supervisor unapologetic and rude the next day. Blamed me for not being home when I have proof they never came to my house or were at door when they said they was there on my Video camera. I told Tom they can come get all of the crappy furniture. I would never buy from them again. They have not offered a apology let alone compensation for my wasted time. I will take them to small claims court for breach of contract.

Monday was HAND PICKED to be my delivery date almost a MONTH AGO and 25 (TWENTY-FIVE!!!!) MINUTES prior to my delivery window I get a call that they aren't coming and will arrive on MONDAY. This was Customer Service resetting MY schedule, which I told them was not possible. I had to miss a day of work TODAY for this and since I am unavailable on Monday, they told me that I WOULD HAFTA CALL & RESCHEDULE DELIVERY!
Are you able to cancel a hotel reservation 25 minutes before arrival without penalty??? *Think about it!!!* Why do I hafta call when you ** canceled on me?!?! This. Is. Not. Right! Absolutely horrible customer service!!!! It is not my fault this was canceled. I scheduled for a date convenient for me and missed work for this. Now I'm expected to rearrange my schedule to accommodate delivery on Monday, which I had ZERO say in, that was "Customer Service's" decision, or I have to call to reschedule delivery? Please explain to me how this is even a tiny bit fair??? THEIR RESPONSE? We will be there Monday. ZERO STARS FOR THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE & DELIVERY.

I ordered a bedroom suit and it was delivered within a week. Rebecca W. was very helpful while shopping and demonstrated great customer service. Unfortunately, the bed frame arrived damaged. A metal leg on the bed had broken off causing the frame to be on the floor and the headboard to be in a bind. I called into customer service and spoke with a helpful lady. I was informed that it would be a week before anyone would be able to come out to replace the foot board. I was so excited to receive this beautiful set, but now there is so much disappointment. It would be nice for emergency replacement work orders to be considered separate from other delieveries in order for a quicker replacement process. It’s my fear that the wooden headboard will crack within this week of waiting for a replacement. Please consider reevaluating your replacement/repair policies.

So I purchase a lamp from Rooms to Go. Take the lamp home and the lamp is wobbly. Took it all the way back to Brookshire Tx. They told me to call Rooms to Go because it was the online order. Call them, they want to send a technician out however I work Monday through Friday. So the sales associate told me to ask someone to go sit in my apartment and wait for them. Moral of the story, this is very inconvenient and the customer service lady told me there is nothing else you could do for me. I would not recommend Rooms to Go.

I bought two recliners chairs for about $4000, one of them the wiring got damage, So I send the form and the money to buy the wiring from them, They cashed my check on December 2021, six months ago and I haven’t received my replacement part. It is unbelievable that for a $4000 chair they can send you a wire that cost $88 Dollars, as today June 7, 2022 I haven’t received neither my part or my money back. They stole the money that I sent for my part. Do not buy at Rooms to Go.

Mattress protector are very cheap. Cover like a mattress pad and does not cover bottom of mattress. Could purchase at Walmart for 10-20 dollars, RTG charged 69.00 dollars. They have no return policy on these. Customer service was unwilling to do anything to satisfy me, including document my feedback or complaint.

Quite disappointed. Waited almost 2 weeks for a delivery, and sofa came damaged. I have guests coming in few days, and it would just be embarrassing to have them sit on it ... Unfortunately it is going to take 2 weeks for rooms to go to deliver a new sofa, even though they have it in stock. Wish they took better care of their furniture.

HI! I had a couch that was about 5 years old and started peeling. I let Rooms to GO customer service know thru email and they worked with me every step of the way until a resolution was found. My warranty was over, but I sent pictures, and they agreed that the peeling was not due to anything I had done. They answered all my questions in a timely manner and made me a happy lady at the end of it all! I would highly suggest Rooms to GO and will be back for my next purchase!

I finally brought a home. I decided to buy most of my furniture from ROOMS TO GO! Brought my 1st home. So when it was time to buy my living room set...I was excited however, that quickly turned into discuss, disappointment than anger! 1st deliver was two hours late, 2nd the guys Broke one of the legs on the chair while setting up...and didn't tell me! I found out about an hour later as I inspected the LOVESEAT. 3rd... last but not least I notice a lot of shedding from the Pillows in the chair... So I unzipped one Pillow from the sofa and found the pillow case inside was ripped or NEVER sewed complete with green stuffing coming out the hole! So I started to unzip each Pillow... Every pillow was half stitched/torn (6) in all. $2400.00 dollars... Poor quality and craftmanship... I'm so pissed. Ordered in the Richmond, VA store and out of Dunn N.C warehouse.

I will never purchase another piece of furniture from this company ever again! I purchased a sofa from this company a little over a year ago and purchased the extended warranty, knowing that I had a cat who tends to be a little spiteful. I had to file a claim for broken support beams on 4/6. A very nice technician came out to my house on 4/15 and told me that the support beams were far too thin to be on a sofa and that the sofa would need to be taken to a shop to be fixed. He told me to make sure that Rooms to Go contacted me within a week because they like to put people in a holding pattern and not fix anything (even though we paid extra for a warranty).
A week passed and I tried to reach out to the company and when I called in the line hung up, so I went in via chat and I was told that their manager would reach out to me, I waited another week and reached out again and was once again told a manager would reach out. In total I repeated this process five times until I got in contact with Eric today, who basically told me that he could do nothing and I needed to reach out to the warranty company, then he proceeded to disconnect the chat on me. It is now 5/17 and my support beams are both still broken and the couch is looking run down and the cushions are sinking. I feel like the company owes me a whole new couch at this point. This has been the most disgraceful process I have ever been through.

Purchased a Lift chair in 9/2019, we also purchased extended warranty. January 2022 the remote broke. Had to pay $25.00 for a new remote, because it was not covered by the warranty. They cashed the check in January 2022, and they waited 90 days to send a new remote because this was in the contract. Received WRONG remote in May 2022. I called. They need to order a new remote which was their fault in sending the wrong remote. This will also take 90 days. Lift chairs are a necessity not made for luxury. I am unable to order the remote from anyone else. Because this is a Rooms to Go Chair. So they will not fix the chair nor smart enough to send the correct remote. So very sad that they are this POOR of an organization. Be careful.

The showroom is great, and they offer a broad range of products with wide range of quality/price points. The staff is well informed and overall, you can expect a great experience here. Most important, when it comes time for delivery, they come when they say they will, they will notify you if items are available sooner and allow you modify your delivery schedule. The delivery team/installers are top notch as they handle items with care and treat your home as if it was their own. My wife and I recently purchased a Tempurpedic ProAdapt Firm mattress on a recommendation. Before purchase, I inquired about Tempurpedic's 90-day guarantee and I was promptly told "We will definitely take care of that." Fast forward to 10 days later and both of our backs are in pain all night from the mattress. AS of last night, we have removed the mattress and gone back to our old mattress. It is that bad. So I contacted RoomsToGo to set up an exchange for a different model (medium or soft) and was told that there is a 30-day break-in period and that they cannot offer any solution at this time. I was told to contact at the end of 30 days but that they cannot guarantee they can offer any solution to the problem. So, basically, we were told the minimum necessary to get the sale and then brushed aside after purchase. We will try again at the 30-day point, but our expectations are very low at this point.

We purchased extended warranty for our sectional. The policy is still in effect, but when we contacted them about a broken piece they denied our claim. They implied we broke the piece. Idiots. It was a piece underneath the recliner that we would not have noticed had I not gotten onto the floor to look underneath it while cleaning the floor. Although the recliner works perfectly fine, this is the third piece of defective furniture from Rooms To Go. The other two pieces were either sent back or a claim file and processed. DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR PRODUCTS. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND POOR QUALITY FURNITURE.

Rooms to go does not take responsibility for their delivery people’s behavior. They can do whatever they want and Rooms to go would do absolutely nothing about. It’s like they do not care at all about their customers. They would even give you an attitude over the phone and would rather cancel an order than to make it right for their customers when it’s they drivers the one creating the problem.

Updated on 5/18/2022: Do yourself a BIG favor!!!! Go shop at another store. A lot more has occurred since that episode. A replacement was delivered yesterday 5/18/22. When the furniture was moved out from the wall, the delivery man showed me HUGE gashes on my newly painted walls. He took pictures and contacted his boss with a promise that I will be hearing from someone to fix and re-paint. I have heard NOTHING. With all I have been through with this company, I certainly hope you don’t expect a good review. The least they could do is offer me some form of compensation. I just might have to get my lawyer involved. REMEMBER, I already paid $3,000 for this piece of **.
Original review: A 3 thousand dollar bedroom set came in with the dresser and mirror very damaged. I went to the store to talk to my salesperson. A date for replacement was set up. Today was the new delivery. The delivery person wanted me to sign but I wanted to check the furniture first. He was so rude yelling at me that he did not have time for that because he had 20 deliveries to make and had no time for me to check the furniture. I told him that I was not going to sign until I checked. I started checking only to find more damage. When I went out to tell him there was damage…. The truck pulled away. As I came back into the house, I tried closing my storm door but he had it propped open so hard I could not close the door. My door is only one month old. By this time… I am going through a whole box of tissues and pains in my chest. When I got in the house, I had to pick up trash left behind and scrub a muddy floor.

I spent multiple thousands of dollars and added an additional warranty. One would think that a small fault like a couch cushion zipper breaking, would be no problem to replace. Nope! I've had to jump through hoops and still no replacement cover, even after Guardian (the company RTG uses for warranties) told us that they paid the money to Rooms to Go for the cushion to be replaced. Unbelievably terrible customer service... Maybe Rooms to Go have spent too much on advertising that they need to keep my $55 couch cushion cover...So disappointing... And to make matters worse, they bounced me back and forth between the two companies, the last time leaving me on hold for 2 hours before I had enough!

I had a scheduled delivery on 5/6. The eta for product was for 2:10-2:40 pm. They arrived early and texted me. I texted back and said I will be in driveway in 2 minutes because you are earlier than the text stated. I got home 2:03 and they were gone. Called customer service they said they left. This was 2:10 and they would not return back. The driver texted me and I tried to call back but I got a no English recording so I texted back and told him 2 minutes from driveway... I said I will pick up Saturday. They said no it has to be put back in system.
Called Monday at opening they sold my furniture which was paid for. They said I would have to wait 'til June 24th. Mind you this was ordered in January. They had to reorder it. They didn’t care about service it’s all about the $$$ regardless if it’s paid for. For $200 delivery fee …I said they could have waited 3 minutes and she agreed but 6 months later still no furniture. We called and left messages with DM and Corporate and no response. Supervisor was like, "Oh well you weren’t there. We sold to next in line." Worse customer service I have ever seen!
The big box furniture stores like Ashley (sold my order 2x before we cancelled). Has this I don’t care attitude because they r so big. Was told The point of sale system didn’t release until Monday and that’s why I couldn’t pick up… but how was it sold by 10 am on Monday? Hmmmm. In store sales service good … distribution and delivery stinks.

I gave it 2 stars because the mattress itself is pretty comfortable (better than a Sleep Number in my opinion) so, I don’t know where to begin. It started with a sale for a Mattress at Rooms To Go in Metairie Louisiana.. Salesman would not show us the sale mattresses and went straight to the Tempur-Pedic. As my husband was speaking with the salesman, I went looking at the other mattresses. Ended up buying the Tempur-pedic anyway and it is the most comfortable bed I have slept on. So good product.
We purchased a bed frame with it. (Easier to clean under.) This is where it comes In dicey. First it took almost a month to get the bed delivered. 2 days later it started squeaking, that when I was in another room watching tv, I could hear my husband turn in the bed. So I tried calling customer care the next day and after waiting 40 minutes I was disconnected. So I decide to email them. Several emails later I was told to take a picture of the problem area. I gave them the order number because I couldn’t take apart the bed. One email stated they needed that picture. I told them again I couldn’t take the bed apart. I finally was able to reach a real live Customer Service representative. She suggested the frame be switched out. Another 3 weeks for someone to do that.
3 days before, someone calls and stated there wouldn’t be any “technician“ in my area (I live 1 block from the French Quarter in New Orleans] and they rescheduled for another 3 weeks or so. Okay..so finally 2 guys came. They were very sweet. They switched out the frame and guess what. Less than 3 days later..it SQUEAKS!. Good grief. What the heck! 3 months and still having problems. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!. In another review the “company” told me to contact their online resource and tell them my experience. What for? The responses are “canned“. I don’t really want to deal with them anymore. Why can’t anyone take care of the problem in the first place. I should be able to have a $5,000 bed that doesn’t squeak!!!

I purchased a sectional from Rooms-to-go about a year ago. In that time, the sofa has developed sink holes in multiple spots and the arm rest on one side now seems broken in the middle. I spoke with a representative at the store and they said to reach out to their service department as my sofa was still under their warranty and it shouldn't be having these kinds of issues so soon.
After going through the process of scheduling a tech to come assess the sofa (he wasn't even a rooms-to-go employee) and waiting the few weeks for the appointment, I received a call a week later. They stated that the sink holes and armrest issue are from "normal use." I was so surprised to hear this. We have a household of two adults. How could a brand new sofa be sinking within a year with relatively gentle usage? There's no kids to jump on it or other undue stresses being placed on it. I can only imagine how quickly a larger family would have encountered these "normal use" issues.
Additionally, the tech they sent out said during the assessment that the armrest issue was from panels that were poorly secured and that the cushions had lost a significant amount of integrity. For Rooms-to-go to completely wash their hands of these issues after consistently praising their warranty and protection plans during the sale feels at best misleading and at worst intentionally deceptive.

DO NOT PURCHASE FURNITURE FROM ROOMS TO GO. Within a year of my purchase, the couch has absolutely fallen apart. The woven fabric has absolutely shredded with one adult using it. It's hardly even been used. It's disgusting what they charge to get the worst quality.

Third exchange on a bed here, still lumpy, back aches. Do not buy a bed here. The worst bed you could ever experience. Not like beds you sleep in at a nice hotel, they have and purchase the best beds, my opinion for what it's worth.

I purchased a electric LIVE SEAT and I purchased a service agreement. ONE SIDE OF THE LOVESEAT has quit RECLINING, this has happened twice, so I called the phone number to request service. Btw the loveseat QUIT WORKING WHILE I WAS IN THE RECLINING MODE!!! After crawling out of the side I was sitting, I immediately called the service warranty department, after waiting on hold for at LEAST 20 minutes. I scheduled the soonest appointment which was 3 weeks later! After WAITING 3 Weeks, the Technician arrived assessed the problem in about 5 minutes.
NOW I MUST WAIT TWO MORE WEEKS FOR THE PART !!!! Then I must call the phone number again once I receive the part and reschedule another appointment for the technician to install the part !! Kepp in mind my recliner is not even 1 year old!!! I have been unable to use that part of my couch going on 4 weeks, keep in mind it looks terrible in my living room. I will never buy at Rooms to Go again!!!

I was a Corporate Accounting Manager for a defense contractor for decades. Trying to decipher Rooms to Go invoices when articles are not being delivered at the same time is enough to drive you nuts. Examine every line carefully, watch for extended warranties added on and never mentioned until you object and, lasty, in Florida, when a company offers free pick up or a delivery with a charge, they are not supposed to charge sales tax on the delivery charge. Rooms to Go does and they refuse to take it off. We'll see how long the furniture lasts, but this is it for me. I've had it with them.

I went to the Lakeland, Florida store to look at some furniture and had the illusion of getting something nice for my living room. All my illusions turned into a nightmare starting with the delivery. I received a call and only one call from the delivery truck hired from them. I didn’t get the opportunity to let the person who was going to receive the furniture to meet them. Subsequently, I called the customer service team and they advised me to call the next day after 4:30 pm. When I called, they explained to me that the furniture would be deliverable on July 5th 2022 because they returned the furniture to the inventory. They couldn’t release it even as I offered to pick it up myself.
With no option left I asked for a refund of my money because I paid $500 with credit card and $1,000 with my debit card that is as good as cash. They agreed to it and called me to inform me that the money to the credit card would be released and the rest I’d get a check in the mail and it would take a week and a half to get to my mailbox. True to their word, it happened like that, but when I deposited the check into my account and to my surprise, they put a hold of seven business days. I went directly to my bank to see if they were the ones putting the hold. They told me to call RTG to get that cleared because it wasn’t in their part. I called customer service and the agent told me that indeed their refund department had it hold. I escalated the call and a supervisor also told me the same thing! I can’t understand what “idiot with initiative” had this bright idea.
As for today, my issue hasn’t been resolved. I swear that RTG will never ever get my business regardless of the price of what they offer because their policies go against conducting a good relationship with the customer especially when the furniture was paid in full. I ordered a pair of chaises from Rooms To Go (RTG) in Austin, Texas in December 2021 and they were delivered in February 2022. One piece was a new one wrapped in a clear plastic but the other piece was wrapped with blue blankets all over to conceal that it was not new, but a defective floor model with a hole underneath and pre-installed legs that looked very dirty and worn out. I did not know until I moved both of them into my living room and saw the differences. Obviously, RTG intentionally cheated on me by concealing one piece in the blue blankets despite the fact that I paid for new products on both pieces.
What happened next was more interesting than what had happened previously because RTG was supposed to schedule a replacement delivery to do an exchange and RTG failed to do so in all 3 occasions in a row in the month of March 2022. The first exchange delivery was failed because the replacement item was damaged badly with a bigger hole than the one I had previously and with a dirty black streak on the fabric. RTG also had no show on the subsequent 2 more scheduled replacement deliveries. At this point, I was exhausted with this company so I asked for an adjustment on the defective item since I could no longer spending 3 days to wait for many hours for an exchange delivery that would never happen.

We purchased a sofa and loveseat and waited a week for delivery. Upon delivery both the sofa and loveseat were the wrong items. In speaking with customer service over the phone we were told the next delivery date would be a week away to make the correction. We went to the showroom and spoke to the customer rep there. He stated that he would get back to us that afternoon which never happened.
Saturday morning we did receive the correct items. 3 days and 3 deliveries later. We were expected to have 2 wrapped incorrect couches in our home for an additional week by the original customer service agent.

What fun. After 4 months waiting for my bedroom furniture, the delivery of bedroom furniture is damaged so they cannot put the bed together. Now I have to call for a replacement for the headboard (big, gouged corner), footboard (one leg OFF), one end table (big gouge corner, brushed nickel pulls are marked up), the tall dresser is marked up in 4 places. I am FURIOUS and inconvenienced once more!!!! Quality is not in their vocabulary. Oh, they will replace the damaged pieces alright, or I can swap for a different bedroom set, with of course... paying any price difference and waiting yet another 4 months. NO THANK YOU!! Been there, done that with RTG. Then the umbrella fiasco below.
I purchased an $800 Sunbrella pool umbrella that is still under warranty last June. While in my yard it fell over and damaged my hardscape and hit me causing 2 bruises. Just missed my head. I called and they sent someone out to assess and he was very nice. Requested a replacement noting it was installed by their delivery service incorrectly. THAT comes later below. I called today to inquire when the replacement will be delivered and installed and was told it is no longer available so I can choose one on their website, but I need to pay the difference since it is...wait for it...$700 more now. I am livid.
Last year I called them after the install because the 2 guys that came out barely spoke English and had no idea how to set it up, had no idea where the sand was to go (it weights down the base), and had no idea how it worked. RTG had to then send another person out who also had to try to figure out how the umbrella worked since the instructions are vague.
I am not sitting still, and they will be hearing from me since it is not my problem that the one I purchased is now discontinued, it is their problem for the bruises on me and damage to my hardscape. Not expecting them to fix the hardscape as it is impossible to replace one large tile of the same color or cement back on a large chunk broken off. I was told by the person that came out to assess the damage they would deliver it and take the old one at that time. Now I am being told I have to set it up!!! OMGosh, terrible warranty and terrible customer service.
They delivered the replacement umbrellas, yes plural, since I was to be charged a huge difference to have the one that was installed incorrectly was discontinued. The guys delivering, and setting them up, one said the steel base did not go with the old umbrella. "OMGosh, yes it sure DID, and you do need to take it with you."

I purchased a sectional 2 years ago and got the extended warranty for a total of $3000. They will not repair the one piece because the leather is peeling back. They are offering full credit for a new one. Of course this item was discontinued so they want me to spend another $2500.00 for the replacement. Do not buy from Rooms to Go and absolutely do NOT get the Guardian warranty. By the way the peeling leather is in a one inch square area and I paid dearly for the extended warranty that they assured me covered this type of damage!

*BUYERS BEWARE* Had one of the worst experiences of our lifes. We bought the first furniture for our new home and got stuck with the horrible cushions! Barely after a month the sofa started to wear off and looked old. We began having bad leg cramps, body aches and what not!!! And even after there was ultimately no solution provided by the customer service. In spite of this, the agent addressed this issue extremely rudely and was being ignorant about it. If you can't offer quality and solution to your customers you're not worth existing in the furniture market. Pathetic customer service! We regret buying from rooms to go.

I will never buy another thing from this store in Naples Florida..They are deceitful..they insisted I could take a year to pay, though I wanted to pay in full. They gave me a Rooms to Go charge card, then later said any payment should go through Synchrony Bank, who handled their accounts..This bank should be out of business..fraudulent.. I made two payments, making my account paid in full..I got a statement saying the payments were made and both checks were cashed and withdrawn by synchrony bank from my own bank account...in 2021. Six months went by after me paying in full, and I started getting harassed about non payment.
Now it’s 2022 and I called the salesperson who took my order, Peter ** knew nothing, and was not helpful..got the gal supervisor who said she would look in to it and call me..never did..my bank sent the cashed and signed by synchrony bank checks to synchrony, proving they cashed and signed my checks..they continued to harass me, and I sent the photocopies again to the CEO of Synchrony, Brian **, who never replied..each division does not know what the other is doing..I finally have turned them in to State Dept of Banking in DC, along with copies of photos, from my bank..they even apologized yet today another email came in requesting money..Am so glad they are not my bank..But now I will, steer clear of Rooms to Go, as well..Did you ever hear of such a mess? You pay your bill in, full, then get harassed..People need to be aware that Rooms to Go in Naples is affiliated with Synchrony Bank, a real loser...Buyer beware..

Salesperson lied and was dishonest. Mattress was poor quality and broke down after 2 weeks, nobody at store will help. Customer service says to wait 3 weeks to have someone come and decide if can return or not. Salesperson told us could return within 120 days no questions asked for full refund or exchange. Worst customer service. They don’t care about customer or repeat business. They hope to get unsuspecting customers to come in from advertising and not allow bad reviews to get to public. Don’t buy anything for them, you’ll regret it and want your money back, but they’ll run you around and waste your time and screw you over. Try any other store.

On 3/27/22 I went into the Pearland, Texas location because of an advertisement I had seen for a specific couch that was advertised as “in stock” at that location. My salesman, John **, took me immediately to the exact couch. I was told that the couch was in fact, “not in stock but would be available for pick up or delivery in two weeks.” When I asked why it was advertised that way, he stated, “we always do that.” I told him I felt that was very dishonest. Fast forward to today; 4/11/22. I called the Customer Service Department asking on the status of my couch. The lady in CS said that John had requested my couch be available on 4/15/22. She was as confused as I was. Why would he do that?!?! She changed it so I can pick up my couch now. I will never purchase another item from Rooms to Go; Never.

Never again will I purchase anything from Rooms to Go. Went to their Willowbrook location for a recliner sofa they supposedly had in stock. Sales person "supposedly" verified they had it in stock at the warehouse. I wanted to pick it up myself, but was informed that it had to be delivered. Okay, whatever. After dropping $$$$ on the purchase with my debit card, I was informed that the delivery would not be for 3 weeks! Arrgg! Okay, whatever, I have a sofa, just replacing it with the new one, gonna have to wait for the three weeks. April 7th rolls around and the delivery guys show up with the sofa, only it's nowhere near the sofa I ordered and paid $$$$ for. It wasn't even close; wrong make/model/color/style, etc.
I get on the phone with customer service and they inform me that sofa recliner I ordered, paid for and was supposedly in stock, was in fact, not. It would not be back in stock until the 31st of May, and that delivery could be rescheduled until the second week of June! AARRRGGG!! That obviously is/was not acceptable by any means. I requested/required a refund of my $$$$ as I was not going to wait 2 months for something that I was told was in stock. I inquired about the timeliness of the return of funds and was informed that they would schedule a pick up of the wrong merchandise from my residence in about 7-10 business days and then they would process the refund in the for of a check!
I did not pay with a check, I paid with my debit card and the funds were withdrawn within 15 minutes of purchase, so why do I have to wait for a check to be sent to my house? Needless to say, we went to another furniture store yesterday, purchased a similar style recliner sofa and it was dropped off this afternoon, less than 24 hours later. Needless to say, I will never shop at rooms to go again, and I will warn others to beware of them.

They brought me DAMAGED furniture 4 months ago. I reordered the same set because I really like it and it matches my decor. They showed up 2 months later with the same DAMAGED set. The delivery guy said, we're use to it. We've had 3 returns today for Rooms To Go. You're #4. I told them that I would give them 1 last try, so I reordered and they showed up today (4-7-22) and told me that they didn't have the hardware to assemble the bed and one nightstand was DAMAGED. I didn't even allow them to unpack the rest. Just told them to take it back. They called and apologized repeatedly and when I asked if they were going to actually take action as opposed to offering the repeated I'm sorrys, which equates to NOTHING and they offered me $50... SMH Just know that you're taking a chance ordering from them. Be sure to read their reviews first. This happens quite often from what I've read online.

Do not bother purchasing this warranty. If you have an issue, Forttegra has to pay for the Rooms to Go service to fix it & nobody else can do so as they are a "self provider". But, Rooms to go has so few technicians that they schedule an appointment months out & can on that day say "we have no technicians in your area" and randomly pick another day another several months out irregardless if you have that date available. Better save your money to pay for broken sofa motors.

I got a Rooms To Go credit card and purchased living room furniture as well as mattress and box spring. Part of my order was back ordered. They delivered the sofa after 2 weeks of rescheduling because of GPS not being up to date. No one in their customer service wanted to help me solve this problem. My back ordered items I had to cancel because they could not seem to find the same address (new subdivision) they delivered to sofa to a month earlier. I finally received my mattress and box spring because that particular driver thought outside the box and use a different GPS.
Now a year later I order the chair that matches my sofa again in hopes that it will be delivered without incidence. Again the same problem. I have been rescheduled 3 time this week for them not putting the address in correctly. I had the delivery driver contact me and he did. I told him where I was located and he hung the phone up and did not deliver. I contacted customer service and all they said was "we just have to reschedule because it is in the GPS wrong". I am appalled at the lack of service...good service!!

Most all my furniture has been purchased here. I recent spent over 5000.00 on 2 months with them. All the deliveries were wrong. They never called in advance. They sent texts but the app was incorrect. I had a couch delivered to my home which I then found out had bed bugs in it. After waiting almost 2 months for it. That cost me about 800.00 to get rid of. Their response was, "I don't know what to tell you." I then ordered a bedroom set and dining table for my son's new apartment which the bedroom set came with no platform of box spring and when I called they said, "Oh we failed to tell you it doesn't come with but we could sell you one for $350.00" and are you serious right now? A 2100.00 bedroom set. I bought a box spring for $80.00 and got it same day so goes to show how they rip off their customers.
Then the table glass arrived but not the top. mind you this was ordered weeks ago. I called 2 times a week to confirm all pieces would be in at the same time considering they had already screwed up the mattress delivery. Then to top it off I paid 240.00 for the bedroom set and dining table delivery charge and the workers had my son help them bring it upstairs. When I called to complain they again said, "Don't know what to tell you." I called corporate about all these issues and they gave me a whopping $100.00 credit. I would not recommend to ever purchase anything from these people again. Prices through the roof, quality went to garbage.

I received pungent smelling, stained and torn furniture. They refuse to refund, refuse to get a manager on the line and I had difficulty cancelling pending orders. The personnel were very rude and kept transferring me to other departments. Do not waste your time with this company or their furniture. My home now reeks with ugly furniture in it.

If I had the power to not put a single star, I would! As we all expect more reputable companies trying their best to avoid to stand by their warranty by stating common wear and phrases that will avoid warranty by force when you're faced on needing such service. Save your money and don’t bother to purchase warranty and don’t bother purchasing such crappy quality of furniture that will fall apart on you before you finish paying it off. They will run around time till warranty is over. Save your Money and purchase a cheaper route from IKEA and buy better, nicer handles and call it a day.
For Mattress don’t even go there for it, sounds ideal since you already have a Credit with them, but avoid at all cost. Not worth it. We even went with the more expensive tempurpedic type and still dipped on us creating hole slots, if you're too close to the edge you will fall off the bed…. even if you flipped it and turned it as usual to prevent dipping. They will void warranty with the terms of “stains” which us as parents with kids is unavoidable. Or even dare to sip on wine on your mattress or snack on anything! Beds within a timeframe of two-three years create a yellow stain already, just imagine owning a white T shirt that you wash constantly. What do you think it’s going to happen on a Mattress. Even if you crazy like us with having to add a protector and warranty to the “T”, and constantly cleaning and caring for something that’s going to fail on you anyway. I guess this was the last string for us with Rooms To Go!
What blew my mind was that the tech guy has the power to void warranty instantly do to “stain” issues, and what was even crazier was that I followed up after my wife gave up on waiting for the tech guy to reach her on final results and tech guy mentioned on his notes that he called my wife multiple time with no answer and that her voicemail was not set up for “voicemail” from Customer Service. That was a sack of “**” I can call my wife right now and leave multiple voicemails. Save your Money and look away, their reputation is scammish! It’s crazy how no one can leave a review on their Website and they still maintain a “4.5 stars”. 1/2 a point off so it won’t be that obvious! The quality was never there, and they dare promote celebrities to endorse to stand by quality…. Shame!

Purchased a sectional with a sale price and added a piece. Talked to the delivery folks and they scheduled 3 different deliveries since the ottoman was back-ordered and they were having shipping challenges. When I called they didn't have any idea that I had ordered the additional pieces even when the full purchase price shows clearly I did. They decided that since it wasn't listed correctly they couldn't help. Called corporate and they said they couldn't do anything because they couldn't overwrite the store, but agreed the price was correct for what I was describing. So in the end the lady at the store said "Too bad, you should make sure it is all listed separately."

In January I ordered regular dining room chairs, that should have been counter height. On February 7 when they were delivered I was told I could do an exchange but would be over a month before they would be delivered. When they arrived today it was still the wrong chairs. I was told I would have to wait April 29, then told by someone different April 30th. And now being told June as a backorder for the correct chairs and that they were actually $10 higher. I was not told this back in February, so now I'm still without my chairs being told I have to wait months. And having to pay more money before I can get them! I asked for a supervisor, And was transferred from person to person in which I never spoke with one! A day completely wasted and nothing accomplished and the customer service was terrible, it's not worth the headache!

I had not so good of experience in the Dunn location. I visited the Durham location and Diane greeted me at the door and said please don't hesitate to ask me any questions you may have. I wanted to look so I said thank you and I would if I had any. Diane didn't pressure me and when I had questions she was very helpful and explained everything very clearly. Before coming to the Durham location I was considering going to a different company but Diane is to thank for keeping me a customer at Rooms To Go.

Very disappointed! Purchased a sectional couch and not even TWO years of having it, one of the cushions is ripping at the seams in MULTIPLE areas! Purchased an "extended warranty" and they denied the claim because rips at seams is a MANUFACTURER defect and is only covered for ONE year! Are you freaking kidding me?!? DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!! I repeat... DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Waste of money!

I bought a sofa chaise at a sale price and just used door delivery because the only assembly required would be attaching the legs to the sofa and the ottoman. Based on past sofa purchases, that should have been just a matter of screwing the legs on to where there is a pre-drilled hole. The delivery went well, and the delivery guys were great. But when I saw the legs, which were plastic, after removing the packing materials, I was very surprised because I have only ever had wood legs. First to see plastic legs, and then to see they were to be attached with regular screws not an attached bolt was disconcerting. The biggest issue was that there were no assembly instructions supplied, nor were there markings on the bottom of the furniture pieces indicating where the legs should be placed.
I called customer service asking for assistance in how to place the legs but that was no help, as it was stated that I did not pay for setup, and there were no assembly instructions for customers who chose to assemble themselves. I was also told to ask the store where I made the purchase for help. I was very angry and wanted to return the sofa, so I returned to the store and was told there were no returns after delivery was made, I unfortunately had not seen this when making the purchase, so I sucked it up and asked if the store had assembly instructions, the answer was no. How do you sell a sofa and offer the option for customers to setup themselves but don't offer instructions?
The manager then said they could offer setup at no cost after seeing how upset I was. I agreed and was told I would get a call from Rooms-To-Go to set up the appointment in a few days, so I agreed. I was called a couple of days before the scheduled day, so was unable to take the call. When I returned the call to arrange the setup appointment, I was informed that no such thing had been noted on my order and once again was told I did not pay for setup upon delivery, therefore they could not help me. I was informed that I should wait for the appointed day of the call and maybe they would have setup something that the customer agent I spoke to was unaware of. Surprise, surprise (are you surprised, I’m not), I never received another call.
I then proceeded to try to figure out how to attach the sofa legs myself because I determined Rooms-to-go customer service is an oxymoron and trying to contact them again would only frustrate me more and make me angrier than I already was. Happily, I’m handy, and with some trial and error, I got those legs attached. What I determined is they do not want to help you after the purchase, what they really want is for you to pay the setup and installation fee, so you won’t have to ask for assembly instructions. After this experience I will never buy anything ever again from Rooms-to-Go because of the horrible customer service experience. Hopefully I won’t have to use the warranty, which I purchased because I’ve seen crappy reviews regarding that. I wish I have checked reviews before making the purchase.

I purchase a Sofia Vergara sofa, sectional set at Rooms to Go outlet. When the merchandise arrive, they drop them from the truck on the driveway and grass at my front door without any cover or protection, so they scratch them all and damage. When they brought them inside they start asking and yelling for money and pushing my wife out to upload the sofas back on the truck, (My wife it was in shock alone at home.) I was trying to call the company to let them know what was going on, after about a month I still have no response from them. I talked several times to Keven the manager at Rooms to Go outlet on Oakland Park telling me that it is nothing he can do, customer service also said is nothing they can do, so be prepare to have the worst customer service ever and be assaulted and treated by them if you want to purchase at Rooms to Go.

The nightstands arrived with the back separated from the body. Staples were hanging loose. The thin particle board is so flimsy, it was almost curled. NOT worth $180. Packaging was sturdier than product.

I am a 65-year-old high school teacher who bought a leather sofa and love seat. It was my treat to myself after teaching my students through Covid for the past 2 years. It arrived yesterday. I sat in it for an hour after I got home at 6pm and an hour today. The leather is all wrinkled after 2 hours of sitting. It looks like I have had the sofa for years. I feel like I have been taken advantage of. There are areas in the sofa cushion corners that have no stuffing. Once again a big company taking advantage of consumers. It will be an excellent discussion for my Economics class.

Nothing but problems with RTG. What the sales people tell you and what policies they have do not match up. They sent me living room furniture that didn't match so I asked to make it right and they did after a few months. They sold me a base for a bed and the drivers said it would not work but the store insisted it did. I did not receive all the items I had requested to purchase and when it was delivered it items I thought I purchased were not present.
After looking at the receipt the manager and I found that some of the items were not included because each item on the bed was itemized. With a partial bedroom set I asked to return so I can purchase a complete set. No returns. It's in the small fine print. So if you get something, be sure you love it because it's yours no matter if they made a mistake or you. And don't try calling the store because they don't answer the phones and don't ask for a call back because they don't. It's just luck of the draw if they ever answer. Good luck-

Place a order 4/21 for a sofa, 1 year free financing. Deliver sofa and driver thru it off the truck, the second driver then came around and they carried it to my carport. I mentioned, "Why did you throw it, we lost our dolly." As they left I unpack the sofa. I found the leather way creased on one side and La-Z-Boy lift ups were not even. I notified store and was informed to send pics. It is now 11 months and no new sofa, and paying financing charges since Oct.
2. Paying interest - no interest for 1 year.
3. Paid for extended warranty 144.00. Don't even have a new sofa.
4. Called 5 times, to send contract to credit card company.
5. Spoke with manager Rita, which she said she would notify credit card com. And extend my interest plan.
6. As of 3/2022 nothing done by Rita.
7. 0401222 no new sofa, paying financing charges. No help whatsoever.

I bought a nice microfiber sectional from RTG a little over a year ago. Unfortunately I got sucked in to buying the extended warranty coverage. RTG train their people to "upsell" this (no hassle) scam insurance coverage. My microfiber detachable seat cushion has some punctures in it which states they cover punctures, tears, etc. They denied replacing and or fixing my removable seat cushion with an excuse that it is not covered without a detailed explanation. Do not waste your money on these extended warranty scams. I have no experience in a stain claim so I cannot speak in honesty how that coverage works.

I purchased a Living Room Set from Rooms to Go (reclining sofa, loveseat and recliner). I also purchased the extended warranty (Fortegra). After 2 years I started having an issue with the reclining portion of the sofa and loveseat, metal to metal sound and hard to recline. I called Fortegra and scheduled someone to come out. Because of covid it took longer than expected which I understand. When they came out they didn't have part so it was ordered. Again because of covid it took longer than expected to get part. Part finally get here and Tech comes out to replace part. When the tech arrived he stated the wrong part was ordered. He stated the issue was cushions (not sure why when it was making a metal to metal sound). He did not replace the parts that had come in but instead said he had to order cushions.
About a month later I get a call stating that the furniture had been discontinued and the furniture needed to be replaced. I have asked if they could please come out and replace the part originally ordered that the tech did not replace to see if that would solve the problem which they will not do. At this point this has been going on for almost 2 years. I have been told my only option is to pick out new living room furniture and pay the difference plus the cost of a new warranty if I want one and pay delivery charges which due to my experience I unfortunately have no desire to buy any more furniture from them.

I called a store (Macon, GA) to acquire information about the mattress sale. Monique **, a sales associate, answered my questions over the phone and invited me to visit their store. Monique was amazing in person and very knowledgeable about the inventory as a sales associate. She offered a good deal on a mattress. She arranged delivery within a few days. The price was reasonable, and I left the store happy. On the day of delivery, the company texted the hours that the mattress will arrive. The delivery truck came on time, the mattress was in good shape, the associates were professional, and did a good job. I was able to arrange a free pick-up of the old mattress. New in, old mattress out. It was convenient, quick, and easy. I highly recommend the Macon location of the Rooms to Go for your next furniture purchase.

Terrible customer service and the insurance coverage is a joke. We have been trying to get them to honor our extended coverage since December. They have sent 2 technicians out here and I have sent pictures in myself and every time I call to get the same status it's, "There are no notes. We will research and get back to you." Now they are claiming I returned the furniture when supposedly they have pictures of the furniture in my home!!! You can't make this stuff up!

DON'T finance with them. I have financed with 60 months interest free and I signed everything and they use a bank called Synchrony. To my surprise, the first month I had to pay, the FULL balance was charged to my account. I asked RTG and they could not help me and said I have to clarify with Synchrony (ridiculous). Then talking to Synchrony, they said that the DEFAULT option is to select 1 time payment (WHATTT?? I SIGNED A DAMN CONTRACT). The only reason I had to use Synchrony is to FINANCE!! Broken process, lot of people unhappy, just don't do business with them. Customer experience really bad and super unprofessional salespeople (had to clarify my financing 2 times because they put additional stuff for me to pay). NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Today I had the worst experience I ever had with customer service in my entire life. I’m moving to a new home and we decided to buy a lot of furnitures at Rooms To Go. The sales person was great and scheduled everything for the date that we were expecting to move. But as everyone know, things change, and we had to change our moving date. So I called Rooms To Go to re schedule the delivery and the lady that answered the phone just asked the date I wanted and done. She never mentioned anything else. But because an hour later I wasn’t able to locate my order on the automatic system I called again and for my surprise a very ARROGANT attendant said that the date was not approved, that they do not hold merchandise to any customer and that my furniture was out of stock (yes, the furniture that was ready to be delivered to us). She said because we re schedule they released to another customer.
So I asked to escalate the call…Big mistake! The supervisor Cynthia ** was even more arrogant than the previous attendant. She said because my furniture was going to a new house she WOULD NOT SCHEDULE my date because I didn’t have the keys for the house yet (????). I told her I would pick up the keys on the next day but she didn’t care at all. She said I should call again and see what the next attendant would be able to do to help me. They treat the customers like trash. You spend thousands there and they have no respect at all. Bottom line: I’ll be without furniture for 12 days because of this TERRIBLE customer service.

The worst furniture you can buy! Go somewhere else. I bought them a living room set that is not even two years old, they sold it as leather and they are already turning yellow. I paid them an extended guarantee, which does not cover discoloration of the furniture and Rooms to go does not want to cover it either because its guarantee only lasts one year. I've only cleaned them with very expensive Products and still is turning yellow. The WORST Furniture.

What a disgrace of a company! How dare you state online you're #1?!?! You're definitely #1 in disappointment and lack of service. There is no person to talk to. Everything done via email and it is not done. I received a desk with a broken little piece that I cannot build the desk without. Contacted company. Sent an entire new unit with the same broken piece!!!! I have 2 very heavy packages and no desk. I emailed company. Haven't heard back called and was assured someone will contact me within a day which didn't happen. A month and a half later I am still without a desk and no live support to talk to. Never getting anything with you ever again!!!!

I placed an order for a sectional at the beginning of January. I waited a month for it and when the delivery guys got to my apartment, they called and asked what floor I was on and when I said 3rd they hung up in my face! They delivered the sofa and was very rude. So I start putting the sofa together only to realize there were no legs. So I called and the representative said she see the delivery notes that no legs came with the sofa. No one told me. She said she would overnight the legs and have someone come out them on. Well I waited a week and no one came, just the legs in the mail. So I start putting the legs on just to realize there are only 2 screws (8 are needed). I had to call AGAIN to get them to send me the rest of the hardware! So now I have to wait ANOTHER week to put my furniture down together. Not worth it, I’ll never buy anything else from this place.

We bought a Power recliner sofa and stationary sofa from ROOMS to GO, Haynes Bridge Road branch. The sales rep advised us to take an extended warranty as we have a kid. So we got 3 year warranty.
FIRST ISSUE - After an year we asked that our kid had some nail polish paint on sofa and the FORTEGA warranty said they won't cover it. When asked the manager of ROOMS TO GO, Haynes Bridge Road, she was like yelling at us that "it's your mistake if your kid is painting". It is clearly mentioned in the warranty about "nail polish".
SECOND ISSUE - Then in the SECOND year the sofa started to sink inside and the handrest was having cracking sound inside. When we asked the FORTEGA they said, "Your and Customer service representative will contact you." But NO ONE DID. Again this is the last year and we called to FORTEGA. They said, "Your complaint is rejected. You have to contact the manager of the ROOMS to GO, Haynes Bridge Road." And the MANAGER was yelling again that, "It's not what we can do and you have to contact only the FORTEGA." I don't know how person like her can be a manager. SHE IS seriously very HARSH to CUSTOMER. So all are cheating. All 140 $ we paid for the EXTENDED WARRANTY is a waste.
Please don't waste your money with this WARRANTY CHEAT.

Couch is poor quality, cushions, seat and back not holding up. We purchased a set, sofa, loveseat, tables and lamps in February 2021, in January 2022 we had technician out because cushions lost the support, new cushions were ordered for sofa and loveseat (still waiting on those), technician was out today because lower support and back support is failing, he said, "that's the way it's designed and Rooms to Go won't do anything about it", had I known the poor quality I would have bought a different brand. Absolutely poor quality and no support for other than cushions. Replacing cushions will not fix support issues.

In August of 2021, my wife and I purchased a sectional sofa with power recliners and a center console with USB chargers. Within two weeks, one of the power recliners stopped working. We filed a service request, and almost a month later, a tech finally came out to fix the problem. Upon arrival, the tech discovered the motor needed to be replaced. He didn't have the motor so he had to order one. Once it arrived three weeks later, we had to call RTG and schedule another tech to come out and install it. This whole time, we had a recliner that was stuck in the up position. The next tech wasn't able to come out until mid-December. When he arrived and assessed the situation, he realized the wrong part had been ordered.
A few days later RTG agent called us and informed us they would be replacing the whole couch because they couldn't get the part, but nothing would be available until Jan 27. On Jan 27, not only did we not receive a whole new couch, the loveseat with console replacement the delivery people did bring was covered in dust, multiple scratches, and in just poor condition. We refused delivery and waited on RTG to call us to schedule another delivery.
This brings us to today, Feb 2, 2022, almost five months later. Today the replacement arrived, but it was the wrong piece. There was no center console. I just spoke to the RTG agent, and they will not bring us the correct replacement until Apr 2, 2022. We will have been dealing with RTG's horrible customer service for seven months!

My name is Eduardo **, I have been your client for more than 10 years, today 01/02/22 I contacted your customer service department and the company that offered the 3-year extended insurance (FORTEGRA ) to request a review of my reclining sectional sofa that I bought in October 2019, Order #**, store # 412, since I have observed that it lost its firmness and the fabric on one of the reclining chairs broke yesterday, and the only thing that What they indicated was that the insurance does not cover either of the two incidents, how is it possible that they did not even deign to come to my house to check my sofa and tell me that the insurance I paid does not cover these incidents, I can buy a piece of furniture for me.
I made a purchase with you of more than $2,500 that included insurance for any incident that could happen to my furniture plus a policy and now they tell me that they cannot change or repair it? I am totally disappointed, I feel cheated by the service that this company offers, and apart from the fact that the telephone service leaves me a lot to be desired, they have just lost a client.

We recently placed an online order for a living room accent chair from Rooms To Go. All went well with the delivery, until we assembled the chair and realized that the screws on this chair are very visible. We then proceeded to call customer service within the allotted 48 hours to request a return or exchange. We called the customer service number on the website and we kept getting transferred to different departments. We finally spoke to one of the customer service representatives and she informed us that the Online Order Department would be the one to decide if we would be able to return the chair and get a refund. She then transferred me to supposedly the right department and we ended up being transferred another 2 or 3 times. After being given the runaround for over an hour, I got a sick feeling that we were not going to be able to remedy our situation.
Nonetheless, we left a message for the Online Order Services Dept to return our phone call. After waiting a couple of hours, I proceeded to call the number again and much to my dismay, my number had been blocked. How do I know this, I had a friend of mine dial the number and she was able to get through the automated messaging center. And she too left her number and never received a call back. To date, a week later, I have yet to hear back from Rooms To Go. I would have never expected a furniture store such as Rooms to Go to behave in such a truly appalling unprofessional manner. It feels as if I bought the chair from a thrift shop where no exchanges or refunds are permitted.
Shame on you Rooms to Go. You would never get our business again. For those that are reading this review, please note we never write reviews but our experience with Rooms to go has been utterly shocking. We might as well have gone to one of their stores, opened the door, throw in the money that we spent on this chair and drive away. BUYER BEWARE!!!

She was able to offer good information yet she allowed us to shop without hoovering too much. She also made the ordering process very easy. My delivery was within a week and was right on time. I have used Rooms to Go several times to furnish rooms in my home. I have always received great service UNTIL I had an actual issue. I purchased a warranty for my reclining sofa since it was power reclined. I was told by the salesman that it was a good investment and I agreed. My issue - My sofa stopped reclining August 2021 and I called Rooms to Go and put in a service request. As of today, January 18, 2022 it's still not fixed!! I have called several times between these two dates and I'm told various things. September 1st, Quality care came out and took pics and told me it would take a week and they would come back and fix the issue. No follow through.
I called Rooms to Go 9/10, 9/23, 10/13, 10/26 and then finally was told that they never received pics so they would send someone else out. A service technician came to my home on 11/8 and I was advised that it would take a couple of weeks to fix the couch. I called back on 11/30 and was told that a part was ordered on 11/20 and the part would come directly to my home. NOTHING. Called today and was told that it could take 90 days or more for the part to come. Totally ridiculous. I have a 5 year warranty. Guess they trying to push it out until the warranty expires. I am totally disappointed in Rooms to Go because up to this point, I had received great service!

We visited the showroom in Clearwater on 10/23. We had a great experience with our sales person Steve. Honestly, I was very excited for our new purchase, it was plush, full of down feathers and oversized. ALL of the things I was looking for. Fast forward to our FIRST delivery. We had been aware one of the pieces was going to be delayed on delivery and that was okay with us. I instantly felt the difference between what we had sat on verse what was delivered. I shrugged it off thinking maybe the "feather" part had to be broken in more to get the same feeling as what we had experienced. However, that was not the case..
Into week 2 we had a issue with our cushions. They had a major dip into the middle and caused us to fall into each other when sitting together on the couch, we called and a technician came out. He was great, said being we hadn't had it too long he would replace the cushions and that could help. I ventured out to ask him about the way this model was compared to what we experienced in the showroom, he had stated that they often times change the quality of the products based on the demand. This was very disheartening because the "down" (feather) experience we had felt in the showroom was FAR from what we received.
After a few months set back on getting the second part of the sofa I was let down yet again. This part was the chase side and the cushion is so lumpy, no "down" and seems as though we have missing chunks out of the new cushion. I purchased a Cindy Crawford sectional that is falling apart. When I purchased it I paid for the extended warranty and they keep denying my claim and the sofa keeps getting worse day by day! This sofa was purchased in the middle of last year and was on back order due to Covid. Rooms To Go finally delivered it by December 2020. The fabric is very cheap and tears if you even look at it. I paid over 2000.00 plus extended warranty amount for nothing. Shame on you Rooms To Go and Cindy Crawford for selling bad quality furniture high priced and not honoring your warranties!

They sent queen mattress for king. After so many customer care calls and hours of wait time (even visited the store) they sent the replacement. But didn't pick the queen mattress, tried calling again and again waited for 3 months then I have donated that as I have beds already in all rooms. Now after 7 months they called me and saying, "We need queen mattress else you owe the amount to Rooms to Go." Never saw this worst experience with such a big furniture store. Very disappointed.

I got my kids bedroom delivered on Nov 7 and the delivery people scratched my walls and even threw the empty boxes from upstairs to downstairs and they cracked a big status downstairs with boxes which I got for over $400 and when I asked them to take pictures and reported they said call customer service and I called same day to reported and they told me, "We will send you a link to upload the pictures," and then never heard from them. And when I called again a month later they said, "We don’t have any claims for you and it’s too late to make one you have to do it within 72 hours of the delivery. And we have nothing to do for you." Thanks Rooms to Go but I will let everyone one know that you are the worst. Even the bedroom you delivered had a bad drawer. We can’t close or open easily and the first available time to fix it is January 25.

I purchased a $629.00 (over $700.00 w/ tax/delivery) Highland Lakes Loveseat in the showroom, LBJ Expressway, Dallas, Texas. Within 48 hours of delivery, I called Rooms To Go Home office; to request a refund or exchange. After reading the 48 hour return policy on Rooms to Go Website. I was informed there was no way to get a refund, return or make an exchange (even if there were unseen defects). And they thought it was purchased online. Then I said it was purchased in a showroom, then was told definitely no way (less than 48 hours after delivery!)

Don't buy from this seller!! The shopping experience was good. We had a nice salesperson. We ordered a sofa sleeper Living room set that the salesman said was quality. The purchase date was Veterans Day 2021. The delivery day was set to for early December. So the truck comes with item nor in protective wrap. The sofa only had a moving blanket over it. It had stains, rips and the sleeper support was ruined. The tables also looked like they were some other clients returns. (Bent, scratched and with glass that was not made for the tables.) We were told by the delivery people that we needed to keep the pieces until the replacements came in.
When the replacements came in they were destroyed. (Obvious returns from other clients. Two foot long black grease stains, ripped on three sides, The chair and ottoman were warped, even the replacement glass was defective.) It was obvious I was being disrespected. The third replacements down the line were totally ruined just as bad as the second. I asked customer service why they kept sending me used replacements and they said there was nothing they could do about it as they were replacements, and they had to be used! (The original set I received was a used set when I ordered new from the beginning.) I went in to talk directly to the store manager who said he would fix the issue (Gary **). Of course when the 4th set came in it was just as used as the first set they sent me. (The armrests were even broken and unrepairable.)
My holidays were ruined, my son had to sleep on the floor and we could not entertain in my Living room. I have never been so disrespected over and over by any furniture company or any business in my life. Repetitive lies after lies, after lies. They did not try to compensate me for their disgusting treatment, but they did say they would take back the furniture. Anyone who buys from these stores is going to get crap furniture along with months of disrespect and headaches. Shame on Rooms to Go. PS. My sister ordered furniture for her new house on the same date that I did. She was told she would get hers on December 17th and then was told she would not get hers until January 29th 2022 a month after the holidays. In the end she had to cancel her order and is looking anew somewhere else.

I brought a love seat power recliner from Room to Go. I had this over a year and the quality is outstanding. We constantly sit and recline and there have been no problems with the chair. The quality of the fabric is superb. This is a durable cloth fabric. I have spilled water on it and just taken a clean cloth to absorb the moist area. There were no spotting or staining.

Beware of return policy when you receive multiple defective items. We bought a power reclining couch and matching rocker recliner in the beginning of 2021. The chair made a terrible racket when used. RTG sent out a repair person. A couple weeks later, the noise came back. RTG then sent out 2 repair people to attempt to fix the chair again. They were unable to stop the horrible noise. The 3rd time RTG offered to send a new chair. After months of waiting for the new chair, it arrived and has the same defect as the first chair.
After receiving 2 defective chairs, RTG is refusing to give me a refund. They have only offered to exchange the chair with store credit on in stock items only! This is extremely upsetting. I bought a matching set and now I only have a very limited selection to pick a replacement from. Even Stephen at customer service could only suggest a chair that is in-stock that might not clash with the couch, and unfortunately, it's not very comfortable on my small frame. I am very angry with the way RTG is handling the fact that they sent defective products. The fact that they will only let me select in-stock items is a serious joke.

We are still under the warranty with Rooms to Go...which is dismal at best. Today the representative came out for the second time since we have had the bed. Reset the legs and this time told us the bed won’t even be right bc we have wood floors???? What? The last time she came she said the person who sold us the bed at Rooms to Go should have let us know we needed different support for our mattress and the bed would ruin our mattress. I’m flabbergasted....so we are supposed to go buy a huge rug (I have pets and prefer wood and small rugs) because the beds legs are too weak to be on wood floors? Sounds like a poorly made bed.

I cannot believe that RTG would rather lose a decent size sale than honor your agreed upon time for delivery. Two days ago RTG text me a delivery day and time. I confirmed that day and time, rearranged my schedule to be at my house during the entire time set and agreed upon/confirmed. I then get a text last minute from RTG that the delivery time has been changed. I cannot change my meetings again on the whim of your delivery department. RTG set the time then backed out of said time. This is poor business practice and poor management. The sales staff is fantastic but if you can't deliver.... Nice furniture but if I can't use it then why bother shopping with you.

The worst experience I’ve had yet since purchasing furniture for my new house. I ordered a sectional from Rooms To Go in Greensboro NC. When the first delivery came they did not assemble any of the pieces.. The delivery men didn’t even take the furniture out of the plastic just set it in my basement floor! The second part of my delivery comes today (which is supposed to be a dark Gray right arm chase) but it’s a brown love seat. After waiting a whole month for the rest of my sectional I, now have to take off work again in a few weeks to wait for the right piece to be delivered. I will say when I called Rooms To Go in NC I did talk to a pleasant supervisor however, she still couldn’t help to satisfy me as a paying customer. I should’ve stuck with BOB’s Furniture.

The staff at the stores are actually pretty good but forget it once you place an order. After you give Rooms To Go your money the store can no longer do anything for you. We ordered a sectional that started falling apart after less than a month. We bought their service plan and to no shock at all, the plan did not cover manufactures defects. So, the store sent a really angry service person who told me to get a sweater shaver and shave my sectional. Then he told me he would order new covers for the whole thing. They never showed up. Came to find out that he never ordered them and that I have to do an exchange for a different sectional. Not the same one, but a different one. So, rooms to go is trying to decide for me what I can and cannot have in my living room.
I've spent countless hours on hold listening to "I will wait for you" and nothing is being done. The store can't do anything without corporate, and corporate isn't understanding that I just want the same sectional. They won't even refund my money so that I can buy the same sectional. This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had with any business in my 40 years on this planet.
Since starting this post I spoke with the store manager Anthony at the Jefferson store. He won't work with me either. I either get to reselect something else and have to go through corporate over and over again. Or deal with this sectional that is falling apart. He told me he is doing right by me. This is not what is right for me. What is right is either giving me my money back so I can purchase a sectional from another store or standing by the product. Rooms to Go is doing what is right by them and their bottom line. DO NOT waste your time. Once you purchase something nobody will help you.

Although, it took longer than I would have liked this issue was resolved. Someone from the social media department, reached out to me, and to the special orders department. And I was able to get a new unit shipped out to me. I gave a 4 star review because I had to wait a month for the replacement unit to be mailed out.

I ordered entertainment center through Roomstogo.com, order was shipped but I was never notified. Package was then delivered via UPS, again I wasn't notified nor given tracking number. Well, by chance I just happen to check on the status of my order I found out order had been delivered the day before, and guess what?! It wasn't there. I immediately contacted Rooms To Go, the rep pretended like everything would be taken care of, and replacement would be shipped out.
After, many calls and emails issue still has not been taken care of. Instead of creating claim with UPS, they informed me, I am the one who has to create the claim, even though UPS, states on their website and have also informed me the shipper must be the one to create the claim. Every time I call, I get the run around, they push me back to UPS and UPS to them. I am getting no answers. AND NO ONE IS HELPING. This is has been the worst experience buying something online. If, I could give it a zero rating I would. The worst part to all of this, is the entertainment center was a gift from my dad, as a house warming gift.

I bought a chair on September 11, I was informed the shipment was delayed and they scheduled the delivery for 12/28, but they never told me I had 2 weeks only after placing the order to cancel. Today I called to cancel as it is taking too long and I don't want the chair anymore and I was informed about the policy that is very conveniently typed in the back of the order in light grey in a way that you cannot read it. I have to wait 3 months for the shipment but they give me only 2 weeks to cancel?

I purchased a king bedroom set last year. The guys who came to drop off and install were rude. They did not have gas for the truck so asked me to go and get it from a gas station which I refused. They were not willing to wear mask and behaving rudely. I insisted them to wear a mask. They threatened to return without delivery and eventually did that.
This year I again purchased another King bedroom set. They came for delivery and installation. The dresser came broken so they took it back. The headboard screws were not fitting well, they put so much force to screw them in and damaged the screw threads, not sure if there is any damage to the wood. They said I would get a call for the damaged dresser and also get extra pair of screws. I waited but no call. I called them and they did not even have a clue about my experience. They don't care about customer once the product is sold. VERY BAD POST SALES SERVICE AND CUSTOMER CARE. This is my last transaction with them. Will not return to them in the future.

Sales personnel push their extended warranty stating that it will cover any and all product failures however, when you apply for coverage they actually will cover very few things. Specifically we were told that any and all mechanical failures would certainly be covered. Several hinges on console covers have failed but extended coverage requested from Guardian protection services have denied repair authorization on 3 separate attempts.

All our furniture is from here, spent thousands. One set is guest room only, hardly used and the bed collapsed. No one was hurt but underneath all broke and sides. It’s literally garbage, not fixable. I want my money back! If I don’t get reimbursed we will take our business elsewhere and, I’ll market this cheap furniture so others shop elsewhere.

WORSE service ever!! Stay away!! Our couch was delivered damaged!!! We were not in town when it was delivered so we did not notice the damage until couple of weeks after. Condo completely vacant with the exception of the couch. They agreed to replace the item but everything was a false promise!! Lies! And LIES! They had us wait 6 months for “an exchange” that never happened! The day in which the replacement was to be made the delivery time kept changing, it went from 2 pm to 4 pm to 6 pm and after and finally it never arrived!! No calls; not a single explanation. We had to contact rooms to go ourselves to find out that they would not perform an exchange because supposedly the item was discontinued!! WTF??!!
Didn’t they know that 6 months ago? 5 months ago? 1 month ago? 1day before the delivery?? No refunds-no solutions provided and even worse, the “supervisor” on the phone was extremely rude!! He told us that the company does not offer refunds!! Even if the item was delivered damaged!! No refunds!! As a “courtesy” to us (LOL) they offered we select a new item and pay the difference!!! WTF??! And if you go to their store they do not even have the items available, so we would end up waiting another 6+ months??!! Are you kidding me??!! WORSE company ever!!! RIDICULOUS!! They just take your money and run!! Not even with their “warranty” that they had us purchase.

I purchased a LAF CHAISE-DOVE sofa from Rooms To Go at their Buford office, GA in August 2021 and received it in October, 2021 (2 months later). I paid about $1600 in cash as part payment and finance the rest. After setting up the sofa on same day I received it, I observed that one part of the cushion is sinking when you sit on it as compared to other cushion. I called Rooms to go customer service same day and they promised to send a technician to come to my house for review. I have to wait another one month, precisely November 24, 2021. The technician evaluated the sofa and observed it was sinking and told me that Rooms to go will ask him to come and add more foam to it to make it firm.
I immediately objected that it is a new sofa and I would rather have it replaced than repairing it since it is less than one Month I purchased it from them. The technician told me that rooms to go will contact me within 5-7 days. After 7 days when no one contacted me, I called their office. I was shocked when their representative told me that the technician evaluation claimed that the sofa has no defect and because of that they will not do anything to the it. I also purchased warranty on the sofa but they said warranty will not cover cushion and that they will only accept the opinion of the technician and not mine. This is fraud and cheating from rooms to go. I am disappointed and would not recommend anyone to do business with them.

I have never been as disappointed with a company as I am with Room To Go. Last year I bought a dinning room set and a living room set and every single item was damaged and returned. The worst part was the sofa sleeper couch was returned five times as each of the frames was broken. The last time the delivery came - the delivery guys didn’t even bother bringing it up as it was so obviously broken. Where is the quality control with inspection? I was then told from their customer service team that I had to pick out a new couch as it wasn’t available. What I thought was a nice gesture ended up being the biggest joke of all.
I picked out a new set at the Naples store and because of inflation they asked me to pay an additional $720 more - even though it was only $100 more than the couch we had bought…. Yes that’s right, we learned that the couch we were told we couldn’t have was actually available and they wouldn’t honor the price difference. What an absolute joke this is from a Customer service perspective by not taking care/inconveniencing their customers and penalizing them for their own product failures. I will never recommend this company - Shame on you for not taking ownership of this debacle.

We purchased a chest of drawers back in the summer. When it was delivered in September it was damaged. We refused the delivery. On two more occasions we have received a damaged chest. After much arguing they finally offered a refund. They have lost our business. There is much more to this review that could be said.

I purchased a sofa from Rooms To Go and also purchased the extended warranty. All of the seams all over the sofa are coming apart. Because of this, when I was moving the sofa to clean under it, a 3 inch tear was caused in the arm of the sofa. I filed a claim and an inspector came out. He took a picture of the tear, but also said that my sofa has a manufacturer defect from all the seams. The warranty company that Rooms To Go uses denied my claim and Rooms To Go will do nothing about it. They will not stand by their products!

Rooms to go is the worst furniture I’ve ever had. I will never buy from there again. When it was delivered we didn’t pay for set up, so it was still wrapped up. When we started unwrapping it one of the couches had a hole on the side and the white chair and ottoman had stains on it. Then we only had in for a couple months and the cushions were already sagging and upholstery started coming unraveled and beading up. Thank goodness the salesman talk us into getting a 3 year warranty but the bad thing about that was you have to spend all day on the phone trying to get a hold of someone. We did get a new couch with the warranty but in took about a month. Now the newer one is starting to sag and upholstery is beading up. I really wish I would have went somewhere else.

After I placed the order I was told, "welcome to the family." I've dealt with La-z-boy before and they were rude, never again. RTG was a refreshing breeze. Nice folks there.

This is the worst store credit card I've ever received. I recently bought a house and got this card to furnish the house. I've never been late on a payment but Synchrony Bank decided to take it upon themselves to lower my credit limit without any notice. When I called to ask about this their response is that they can do it because it's the bank decision if the customer's credit score drops. Now anyone know that if you purchase anything on credit your credit score will drop. And I recently bought a house and a car. I only found out about this when I was checking my credit report and it said my usage was above 30%. This is a trap card and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Purchased 3 piece leather group, $2900, 6 years ago. The leather on right side of loveseat is peeling away from the stitching. A set is 6 yrs old, I wanted advice or help on what I could do to repair or replace that one side. All other pieces are in perfect condition & I love the set. I took pictures into store & was told they could do nothing to help me. Suggest I contact RTG website & ask for assistance. I sent online message & pictures to their customer service, their reply said 'out of warranty & Set is discontinued. Sorry & thank you." I have a ruined loveseat & not sure how it can be repaired. I will never buy anything from RTG again, they do not stand behind their defective product & offer no solution to issues.

If I could do no stars, I would. I ordered my son his first big bed (queen size) adult furniture back in September 8th. It wasn't delivered until October 16th. When it got here it was completely scratched up and looked like it had white spray paint all over the top dark wood and gashes in the dresser. So naturally I did not accept the delivery and requested a new one. October 27th was the new day we were told it would be here. It was delivered and looked great. Upon the delivery the guys setting it up said there were 2 right legs for the headboard instead of a right and a left. The delivery guy called customer service and explained, as did I, and they overnighted a "left" leg. When it got here it was yet another right leg. I called again, they sent out another "left" leg but this time it took 5 days to get here. It arrived....and yet AGAIN it was a right leg. So again, another was sent out and arrived as a right leg. YEP, you are reading this correctly.
I called and tried to speak with a manager. They would not allow me to speak to one. I asked/demanded a refund, yet they ignored me and didn't even entertain a refund. So the last person I spoke to, order a whole new headboard and parts. Yet...it is going to take another 7-10 days to get here and they said they won't deliver it unless I give up the one already delivered. Okay....just get me the right parts. Then they called and said I need to pick it up from the Katy store. So I have to pack up the old one myself, and the plethora of right legs they sent us, and go and pick up the headboard myself AFTER I PAID THE 50 DOLLAR DELIVERY FEE!!! What exactly did I pay for???? It's now November 5th and I still don't have the correct parts to set up my son's bed. He is sleeping on a mattress on the floor at the moment, surrounded by bed parts. I get that 3 rights make a left but this is ridiculous to say the least! ;/

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM ROOMS TO GO. THEY ARE HORRIBLE! I placed an order on the Rooms to Go website on 1/29/21 and was told my order will get delivered on 5/17/21. On 5/17/21, I received a text and an email confirming that my order was its way to be delivered on 5/17/21. I waited all day and they didn't show up. Well after waiting four months for my order, rooms to go didn't show up on 5/17/21. When I called rooms to go, they said my order was not on the truck. They won't give me a new delivery date, they refuse to cancel the order, they kept saying the order is locked. They refused to send me to a manager when I requested to speak with a manager.
Days later, and after much headache and drama of me calling and speaking with different agents, my order finally came today 5/26/21. Delivered by Josh and another guy. But, there was a crack on the dining table they delivered. Josh said he had submitted a request for a replacement dining table because a few minutes later, I got a call from Chandler and he spoke with me and my husband. Chandler proposed that they will send a technician to fix the crack. We told him that we bought a brand new dining table set from them and we do not want a technician. We told him that we want a brand new table that we paid for without a scratch on it. Chandler said he has scheduled a date for us to receive a brand new replacement dining table on 9/22/21 because it is on backorder. He gave us a replacement order number **. We had to wait for another 4 months.
On 9/22/21 - two delivery guys brought another table with more scratches than the first one. They took it back because we don't want another defective table. We spoke with Ray and asked for a refund for the table. She said a supervisor will call us back, but no one called back. I called rooms to go on 9/24/21 at 3:30pm and spoke with another agent (I don't remember his name) He was very rude and said they will not refund our money for the dining table because "they do not issue refunds". Today is November 5th, 2021 and we have not received our refund for the dining table we paid for. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM ROOMS TO GO. THEY ARE HORRIBLE!

I purchased the Eric Church living room set in February and have purchased extended warranty Thru Guardian. Well that all has been a waste of money all around the console as broke Guardian nor Rooms to Go did not want to fix it. Now the leather is fading and again Guardian nor Rooms to Go can careless to fix the issue. Buyers beware. Do not waste your time or money buying anything from rooms to go.

While their in store experience was good, hence the 1 star, the rest was a nightmare. Starting with delivery dates that stretch quite far and delivering in stages, the actual delivery is the worst. With the first delivery, the crew shows up and decides to leave because they don’t like that the driveway is steep i.e. they were too lazy to carry the furniture. After agreeing on a new date, RTG changes the date unexpectedly. We have to accommodate in order to not push the delivery date out a few months!. The second crew then is less lazy and has no problem getting the furniture into the house. Problem is though that the bed frame is damaged and the cocktail table is as well. They assemble the bedroom dresser but leave the rest in the boxes including the nightstands.
Upon asking them to take those out of the boxes (no assembly required) and taking the damaged table back, they disappear without a word leaving us with the still boxed nightstands and damaged table. At that state we are already tired of dealing with RTG’s not helpful and frankly incapable customer service and engage with the store directly where we purchased. No apology but at least they make the impression of trying to help fix things. The third delivery then brings the replacement bed frame and one of the missing pieces of the living room.
When unpacking the frame, the crew damage the cable of the bed frame for the inbuilt lights. They claim that they will have someone sent to fix it. Which of course they don’t and we end up calling the store again to get that addressed. The cocktail table replacement is more than 6 months out! so we tell them to send someone to do an on-site fix while we decide whether we keep the set and wait for the replacement or go with another. The fourth crew then was supposed to deliver a bed frame for the second bedroom. They call to tell us they will arrive in 45 minutes.
A short while later we get a call from the customer service telling us they are waiting on the road. We kept looking out for them by the way but hadn’t seen anybody so far and are somewhat confused by what game they are playing now, although suspecting that the crew saw the drizzling rain and decided to bail without delivering. Our suspicion is then confirmed soon after. We call the store who claim the crew took a picture of our mailbox as proof they were there. We tell them that no truck was waiting and ask also why nobody bothered to ring the doorbell. No apology again. At that moment we have enough of RTG and cancel our remaining order, asking for our money back. Only thing I can tell all reading this is to not buy from RTG. Really, don’t!

My husband I bought the Sandie sofa and chair Christmas time 2020. It looked beautiful and felt good to sit on for five minutes in the showroom. Beware though...the cushions sadly break down and sag. Within a couple of months. We continued to rotate all the cushions to no avail. Sooo disappointed and you will be too. Feels like we’re sitting on the frame of the sofa and chair now. Less than a year old. We were excited to get the sofa and chair. Loved the gray and we thought it was a good buy. We even called the sales guy back who showed us the furniture days earlier. We wanted to make his Christmas by calling him back and letting him get the sale. That was important to us. Sadly these couches hurt both my husband and I because they are so broken down.
We can’t afford a new sofa and loveseat. We don’t have the money and now we will have to figure out some way to get a new one. So sad we got rid of our old sofa and loveseat. They still were in good condition. We wanted the gray but the sofa and chair look nice and felt nice on the floor. It another story once you get it home. We are devastated! Just so you are aware, the chair with Sandia is more like a loveseat. Just don’t buy. I promise you’ll be disappointed too. I hate to give any bad reviews. Sale person was great! The sofa and chair extremely poor quality. Thank you!

The 1st time: I was given a time frame of 4 hours of when my items would be delivered/set up. I never got a call/text. When I called to inquire about my delivery I was told the delivery person “took a picture” as proof that he was at my house. I mentioned that I was not contacted nor was the doorbell rung/or door knock. The response I got from customer service was “they are not obligated to knock/ring doorbell and that they got the picture from the driver outside my house… what good does that do me?! I was then told I could not schedule another delivery date that day and had to wait 5 days before I could reschedule.
2nd time: My items were brought and the delivery group did come to the door to knock/ring doorbell. As they were attempting to unload items my item was damaged and the delivery group refused to take it back the same day. Instead he stated it would be taken to my room and I would be called in 30 minutes to schedule an exchange. He said he did not have confidence that I would be called in 30 minutes so that I should call on my own. He also refused to unwrap the mirror to check for any damages or to mount on the other side of the dresser. Once he left I unwrapped the mirror just to find out that too was damaged! Behind the dresser is broken much more than what he showed and the holes to insert the screws DO NOT align correctly to mount the mirror.
After more than 1.5 hours on the phone with over 4-5 representatives they were still unable to schedule my exchange or give me a date. I sent photo proof to 2 representatives and the supervisor; all with no callback or response. I cannot keep missing work for this! I was told 4 times that I would get called back and not once did I get called back! I asked to speak to the supervisor several times and just kept getting avoided and blocked from voicing my concerns.
When attempting to speak to the supervisor I was told she when she had time she would call me back. What kind of customer service is this??? I NEVER got the call by the way…. I am very disappointed, I expected so much better service from Rooms to Go. I need this exchange to be expedited and the delivery fee waived because this is just ridiculous and terrible service! Can the 3rd time go smoothly or is that too much to ask from this company?

We buy a bed in Rooms to Go. The day that they delivered us the bed there was a damage in the bed. It was broken. Delivery said let this to be here until we get a new bed and they just leave everything and they leave and we call customer service. We said, "When do you guys will deliver the new bed" and they said 1 month later. I said, "Where are we going to sleep." I told them that, "You left the furniture in the middle of my room" and they rudely told me that it has nothing to do with us. This is the last time I will buy from them because they do not know how to deal with the customer.

Was advised by the local Rooms To Go that they had the recliner I was looking for. They did not but salesperson said she would get it for me and it could be delivered in 3 days. I paid for it. It was not delivered in 3 days, not in 8 days and on the 10th day I called Customer Service. After dealing with a very rude individual I was informed that a third party vendor (but I was told who it was) was responsible for shipping and there’s nothing they could do but could not give me a refund nor tell me if or when delivery would be made.

I purchase a Sofa Loveseat from there. They have a program there where you can put your items on what they call "layaway", which was a very good program. I paid for delivery and shipping for my items. Once my items was completed within 7 months of being paid for the young lady stated that my items was on back order and they will be to me on Oct 06, 2021 which was fine due to me wanting to get the items for Thanksgiving for my family members that were coming out of town (around 50 to 60 people). So I said "ok". When that date rolled around then they gave me an Oct 08, 2021 date, once again the reasoning was because it was still on back order. I said ok.
Now, when that date rolls around they stated that it would be to be on Oct 09, 2021 and that it would be deliver between the hours of 9 am to 1 pm but call the store to get a definite time. I called and they told me around 1:30 pm due to my address being the last one on their list and how they deliver by address. I stated okay. On Saturday, Oct 09, 2021 the day of the delivery my phone rings 1 time and then hung up. I immediately call back to see who it was it was. Of course the delivery drivers from Rooms to Go. I ask him, "Hey I'm home waiting on you guys. You can deliver my items." The young man was like "well you have to call the store to get it rescheduled". I was like, "You haven't even made it to my house so you should be able to continue on your route and deliver my items." But I said okay I will call.
Once I called I was on hold for an hour and 45 minutes. Finally I asked the virtual phone to call me back. Once I didn't receive a call back the afternoon (mind you it's only 9:46 am). So I decided to call back again around 4 pm and was on hold again for another hour. Once I finally got a customer service rep on the phone she stated that the process is once I miss my delivery time my items will go back to the warehouse and it takes 48 hours to unlock my account and I can reschedule to have my items redeliver again that week if there are times available. So I waited until Monday morning to give them a call. Waiting once again online for about an hour when finally a customer service rep advised me that my items are once again on back order and won't be available until sometime on or after Nov 22, 2021 thru Nov 27, 2021.
The week of Thanksgiving when I have family members coming into town starting Nov 20, 2021. I was like how can it be on back order when rooms to go was going to deliver it on Saturday? He stated that once it goes back to the warehouse it goes to the next customer who was waiting on that same item. So I'm paying for an item to not only not get to me but for it to be giving away to someone else? So I requested a refund of my funds due to no one is willing to give clear and concise information about their process so that someone who is in my position could make an informative decision. So the young man stated, "We want your business. Go to the original store that you purchase your furniture from and see if they could one give you something similar to what your originally order or give you a refund."
When I went to the store one that Monday, I asked to speak with a store manager about the situation and possibly getting a refund. I sat there waiting on Mr. **, the store manager for about 20 minutes. Once he gets to me he immediately asks me in a nasty tone "How can I help you?" I tried to explain to the young man the situation and he kept interrupting me. So I asked at this time for a full refund. He put his hands in my face while I was sitting in a chair and said that's not happening that I'm only getting 80% back of my money and the company is going to keep the other 20%. I said, "No sir. It's not my fault that you didn't follow what you and the other co-workers stated about the delivery time. I have patiently waited on my items." Now, they are saying that my items might not be deliver until the week or week after Thanksgiving.
I also advised him that he has an attitude and I don't think that Rooms to Go hired him to be a part of the problem that you are here to help people or customers solved the issue and come to some resolution. He stated in a nasty voice that he doesn't have an attitude. I had to walk away due to him not allowing me to talk as well as I was literally in tears due to the fact I wanted my furniture for my guest and I just moved to Texas. Needless to say, I have tried calling Corporate to see if there is something could be done. That's like trying to get into Congress to speak to Speaker of the house. I'll not ever purchase anything else from them nor will I suggest them to the college students and parents when they need to have dorm rooms filled with furniture. Do NOT buy from Rooms to Go. They delivered the wrong furniture, and instead of offering to fix the problem, the delivery guy chose to make rude comments. The store we bought from did NOTHING to help. I asked for a manager more than 4 times and was hung up on multiple times. I requested a call back and no one ever did.
A poor call center rep that had nothing to do with the problem had to resolve the situation. And when they did deliver what we purchased, it was clearly used, as it had none of the factory packing the first item did. $1300 to get treated rudely and ignored. I will never buy from Rooms to Go again. I used to work retail and was shocked at how bad Rooms to Go customer service is. What made the maddest is that the delivery driver chose to make a snarky comment to me despite the fact it was their mistake. No ownership. Rude, unprofessional, inferior. Caveat emptor.

Rooms to go: I purchase a living room set from Rooms to go on July 5 for $1,808.27. Order #**. I paid $1,300.00 in cash and $500.00 on Debit Card. I reside in Nassau, Bahamas. I called on Sunday July 11, to canceled order. I spoke to Shantel who was very accommodating and told me order will be cancelled and $500.00 will be debited to my account. I also asked for entire refund to be deposit on Debit Card but was told it was against company policy. I asked for the balance of $1,300.00 cheque to be sent to my sister's address in Fla., which was on file and I repeated address to her for verification. Shantel said she'll pass information to their Accounts Dept.
I was refunded $500.00 on debit card about 3 days after initial conversation. July 19, I called and was told by Corleen that cheque was mailed to my sister's address. July 21, I spoke to Shantell and was told that cheque was mailed to a shipping address and Rooms to go Corporate office had to wait for cheque to be returned before its canceled. Please note that I live in The Bahamas, and have to pay for overseas calls!. I called July 28, every week for the entire month of August and was given the same lies that cheque was mailed to my sisters address. This is blatant poor customer service, is this the treatment that you give your Bahamian customers? By the way I purchased furniture from Rooms to Go in Fr. Lauderdale but service was outstanding.
After 2 months of frustrations I decided to visit Fla, I went to store in person on Sept 9, I spoke to Store Manager **, who was not accommodating and very condescending. He said that there's nothing he can do but call Corporate Office.... He promised to call me but never did. I also called and went in store but was given the run around for my $1300.00. I finally spoke to Office Manager, who had some empathy she made some calls and finally given a cheque on Sept 21. I would never purchase furniture from Rooms to Go Jensen Beach 2980 NW Federal Hwy, Jensen Beach, Fl 34957 or for that matter none of your locations! Customer service is horrible.

I ordered 2 items on Tuesday and changed my mind on Wednesday. Called the 800# their website instructs at 10am, 12:30p & 3:15p, each time pressing “1” to receive a call back. I also called again at 4p and hung on eternal hold - never getting an answer. So, I went on their “chat” feature. It was quick. Was told by the rep that Sales & Customer Service cannot do cancellations anyway, so… She supposedly cancelled the one item and I was to receive a credit in 7-10 business day. I say “supposedly” because here we are a week later and I received an alert that the item shipped and will be received today. Now I have to spend MY day straightening THEM out and trying to get MY money back. I think I might just return the second item I ordered too. DO NOT buy from this horrendous company. There are too many other options out there.

My wife and I went in knowing exactly what we wanted. Peggy helped us out our order together and even found a way to put half the order through financing and the other half through layaway (since we knew the couches were on backorder and not due in for 60 days). We left the store feeling very excited for our new furniture. Peggy was great. Our first piece was to be delivered 30 days after we ordered it. I took the day off from work the delivery day (lost $$$). The day came and went and I (nor my loud barking dog) never heard the door bell 10 minutes into my delivery window (8a-12). I was later told he knocked and waited in his truck for 10 minutes before leaving. Apparently doesn't know what a door bell is. No big deal or so I thought.
Trying to reschedule delivery, I was told the couch would now not be available until March, 5 months from now! We thought surely we would cancel and try another furniture store. Not so fast! Since it has been more than 48 hours since we "purchased" out of stock furniture, we would only get 80% of our money back. This is extortion. We will never go back to Rooms To Go. Buyer beware. Delivery dates continue to be pushed back since we first inquired about the set. If your item is not in stock, you are better off going somewhere else or choosing something that is in stock so you can get a full refund within 48 hours. What a racket this place turned out to be.

I went to the new Rooms To Go in Buford Georgia to buy a mattress and box spring. As soon as I entered the store a friendly sales person acknowledged me and asked if I needed any assistance. Within 20 minutes I had made my purchase and am a very satisfied customer because of Anita the sales person who waited on me. Rooms To Go in Buford, Georgia is apparently a very well managed store location!

Absolutely the worst quality outdoor furniture. We have paid over 10K for outdoor furniture that started breaking down just a couple of months after purchase. The store manager said they couldn't help and to call customer service. Customer service said no replacement even though we purchased the warranty. Warranty company says they cover damage from stains or pets and not manufactures defects or mold buildup. Stating this type of damage does not qualify under warranty. Beyond frustrated and definitely did not expect this from such a big company

I would caution anyone from buying anything from Rooms to Go. They have deplorable customer service. I bought a mattress and adjustable bed base for one price. They were not itemized on my receipt. When delivered and set up I immediately noticed the mattress was too close to the floor. I told the delivery guy and he said the mattress has to sit on the base and the legs are not adjustable. This is NOT how the store display looked. After sleeping on the mattress my back hurt terribly. I gave it a week and a half, trying to get used to it. Finally I called the store. Without me even asking, the manager immediately told me I can not return the bed base. Even though my receipt shows they were bought together for one price. They were not itemized. He said I could exchange the mattress within 30 days.
I spent an hour and a half In the store trying to carefully select another mattress. When the salesperson helped me she said my selection was less than the original purchase. They charged me $100 for the exchange and valued the bed base approximately $550. After deducting that amount from the original purchase price, plus the $100, when all was said and done I lost $700 in the deal. I called corporate twice and also talked to 2 store managers. Part of the $700 I mentioned was issued in a store credit for $146. I don’t need a store credit! I need my money back to pay bills. To top it off, my second mattress was supposed to be delivered yesterday. I got a call yesterday morning saying the delivery was cancelled because the mattress they were delivering was “dirty”. What the heck???? I strongly advise you not to shop here. Ever. I would not want anyone to go through what I’ve been through.

I ordered a product within Rooms To Go on-line. After receiving the product defective, I was told by their customer service I can't receive any service from them. They are using an excuse that my Rooms To Go credit card has a dispute, but I contacted Synchrony Bank (that manages Rooms To Go credit card) and they don't have any dispute. These companies should be partners in business but they refuse to talk to each other and resolve the problem that they created. Now I have a defective table in my home that I can't use but I have to pay for it...and I don't have any commitment of resolution from their end.

The showroom is beautiful and the sales staff are superb... but all the good stuff ends there. When they schedule a delivery, you are obligated to stay home all day until 10:00 p.m. On my first delivery day I waited and waited and was later notified that they ran out of orders at the warehouse. What? So, they scheduled another date, but then the truck broke down. No other delivery date was scheduled and then a few days later I got a text saying it would be delivered in about 35 minutes. I called Customer Care to express my concern that I hadn't received notice and had made other plans, but the snotty representative informed me that it was my obligation to stay home all day long. Hey, I didn't even know they were coming that day!
Over an hour later, the delivery arrived broken. They asked if I'd be willing to accept the piece of furniture anyway and wait for another replacement delivery to be scheduled. So, as I'd been directed, I contacted Customer Care to confirm the new replacement shipment. Guess what, my desk had been discontinued and I was encouraged to re-contact my sales associate and I had 30 days to select another desk of equal or greater value. I looked at the website, found nothing I liked, and contacted the sales associate to ask for a full refund. I believe that the desk I loved was still being sold in their showroom and maybe they'd be able to sell me the floor model, but I had no desire to deal with Rooms to Go any more. I was told that to purchase the floor model, I first needed to get a refund, and then I could purchase the floor model and start the process all over again. No thank you!

Poor customer service. Delivery was set, and when the day came no one called or showed up. The delivery company called at 10:00pm and stated that our furniture would not be delivered. Never received a reschedule date and had to call customer service for a new date. They were extremely rude and pushed out for 2 more weeks. Again no call about delivery time and no showed again. Finally get furniture delivered and it is damaged. The base of dining room table is cracked and must wait 3 weeks for new base. Chairs and bench are uneven and technician was scheduled to come and repair.
Technician is extremely rude. No identification to let me know he is actually a repair man, he knocked on my door and when I answered he said “furniture” like I should know what that means. When he was asked to put on a mask he got mad and stormed off. Technician was then rescheduled again, to then no show and no call. I call Rooms To Go customer service and now have to wait 4 weeks for a technician. We paid $2500 for this furniture and are not happy. Rooms to go does not care about their product or their customers. I will NEVER purchase from them!!

We purchased 2 twin x long adjustable beds. The bases we received were damaged. They sent replacement which was damaged. Also, the beds were too high 30 inches. My wife has a bad back and could not get on the bed. We asked them for shorter legs. To make a long story short 3 times they came out with the wrong size legs. We spoke with 2 managers who were useless. I would not buy a toothpick from this company again.

Furniture in this store is null, the sale associate to sell you anything will promise you everything is under warranty. But if you have a problem good luck first making and appointment and then they will tell you you don't have any warranty. Happened to me twice.

If you see Michael ** on your email as your delivery guy, please call and reschedule! His truck was not on and his truck door hasn’t been closed, when he “I’m not here” for him to put my son’s bed together that He Just delivered. I have the picture to attach, but there’s no attachment option. If you want professionalism and your purchase item put up correctly, he is not the person you want to deliver your items. Now, as a single mother who just have surgery have to wait 3 more weeks for someone to put up my bed. I may have to get on YouTube and make lemons out of lemonade as I usually do. Just a FYI- I wouldn’t wish this feeling on no one.

I am a combat wounded veteran and recently moved into a new home with my two boys. I ordered them new furniture including two tv stands from Rooms to Go. After the rest of the bedroom furniture was delivered and put in it was obvious the tv stands would not fit. They haven’t even been removed from the boxes and rooms to go will not allow me to return them due to some small print 48hour return policy. This is ridiculous. Now I’m stuck with nearly $500 worth of unboxed furniture I can’t even use and they don’t care at all. Will never do business with them again and recommend you avoid them as well. Ashley furniture has much better customer care.

I purchased a sofa from Rooms to Go. The sofa was delivered on August 26, 2021. The drivers destroyed a 40 foot section of my fence and the neighborhood association fence. The sofa was also delivered with no legs and dirty as not wrapped in any plastic. I’ve called and spoke with the store manager, Steven ** and his boss, David **. Both said they would resolve the issue with the sofa, and provide with someone to process a claim for the fence. They now refuse to answer my calls. I’ve never had a worse experience with any company. I’ve called the home office, but get put on hold for hours at a time.

Rooms To Go is worst place to buy furniture. They do big promises about product warranty at the time of purchase and when you complain about manufacturing defect they just deny your request. Even their customer service department never listen you. They just hang up phones or just say, "You think like this is manufacturing defect? We don't think." We wanted a Queen size mattress w/ handles, we were shown full size but salesman told us the mattress came in Queen. We got a queen, but it was shorter than the one we had. I called the store manager, he told me there is only one queen, not teen and standard. If you buy a mattress from them, you better make sure it is right size. Not only that, the mattress had a lot of dust on it. We didn’t notice until the guys had put our mattress on the truck, they are going to change the one that was left, but the SIZE is still shorter. Beware.

I ordered over six thousand dollars worth of furniture from this company. I purchased some items online and others through their sales reps. When it was delivered, more than 50% was damaged. Legs falling off the sofa, abrasions on the love seat fabric, scratches on bed and dresser. The delivery/setup crew was aware of the problems and took pictures and assured me the items would be replaced. Some items were replaced however the replacement bed and dresser are not available until April of 2022! I agreed to keep the damaged bed and dresser and take the 10% discount.
The box spring, after consultation with a sales rep prior to purchase was too low for the bed. I was charged another delivery fee for the correct box spring. Although I paid for set up, the delivery guys said they do not put the handles on the dresser and night stands so that was left to me. In closing, I believe this company knowingly delivers damaged furniture. The driver of the truck explained that some items were returned by someone else and then delivered to me in the same damaged condition.

We spent over $4K on a living room set. Delivery has been a nightmare! I had to reschedule the first date due to my mom passing away. It was 5-6 weeks after our purchase. It was then scheduled 2-3 weeks later but they never showed up. It was rescheduled again and they never showed at the expected time nor did they contact us. They were nearly 2 hours late after they changed our delivery time online! 8 pm! Who wants furniture delivered at that hour? And our sectional was missing half and the section and the one we did get was damaged and not usable. We were expecting a recliner with it but now told it's not included.
My husband handled all the paperwork for a change so I'm not sure what happened. So we waited another month for the complete set. I only had 2 days I was unavailable and they picked one of those days. My daughter missed her chemistry lecture as a result. And they didn't show up in the 4 hour window again! Trash was left in our yard, too. If I could send it all back I would! They wasted so much of our time. Customer service is a joke! They wouldn't compensate us for their screw up except free delivery for another purchase. It took several attempts to get through and was on hold over an hour. NEVER AGAIN!!

I ordered a brand new dresser. They sent me a chest. I do the exchange. They sent me an old dresser that has scratches all over. I try to cancel the order. They tell me they will contact me. I have not heard from them.
