    I ordered a twin size bedroom set with an additional bed from the set for my twin daughters. After one month's wait, the furniture was delivered. We opted to put the furniture together ourselves. After unpackaging the product, we realized there was damage to both beds. I contacted customer service, provided them with pictures, and opted to have a representative come out and view the pieces. After two weeks, the representative visited us, reviewed the pieces, and voiced concerns. Based on his assessment we opted to return the beds and order the same beds again.

    The furniture was delivered a few weeks later. We noticed that the representatives had a difficult time putting the beds together, so my husband opted to complete the work. When he unpackaged the product we noticed, again, issues with the frame. I've contacted customer service and spoke to three different agents trying to get resolution. Their sense of urgency and understanding of my frustration was unacceptable. I used to love Rooms to Go, and almost all furniture in my home is from this company, but it appears their customer service and furniture quality has dwindled...Which really hurts my heart. Whatever is happening with this business, I hope they can turn it around.

    I on Saturday got deliver the Belia dual power reclining and yesterday Thursday noticed that couch was not stitch correctly. Same reason it started to unstitch. A tech needs to come. A brand new couch shouldn’t have to repair. I get the feeling product is not of a good quality and not durable. I wish returned policy was different where I would be able to return product or exchange it for a different product after few days specially if not satisfied with product. I don’t think I’m buying from Rooms To Go again.

    Horrible experience!!!! Sofa delivery was sloppy and mismanaged!! They literally dragged the sofa and ripped it!! Had to call Rooms To Go customer service 7 times to get a replacement. Even 2nd time, one of the sofa piece came ripped!!! Once the sale is done, the rep you worked with won't even help. This is cheap quality furniture so expect low quality all the way!!!! Stay away and go to a quality store like Ambiente.

    I like to put 0 Stars but is not a option. I bought this sofa that I liked so much in the store with a confusing price online, it cost something, on the table it had one price and when it came time to pay another the excuse was that the configuration in which I wanted it cost more. I still paid, they brought this sofa to my house and it was a balance or imperfect that someone had returned so they changed it for me after a lot of calling and waiting months. Now this other one is sunken, sank and it is not a problem of misuse, I live alone, I work to say the sofa should not be sunken. I have this extended warranty scam. I called, they scheduled me and with 5 minutes left until the time of the technician's visit, they called to cancel this is a scam. The quality of the materials is terrible, the high prices are not justified, not to mention the service..

    Don't buy this store. We always look to invest our money in places that give us trust and support, well let me tell you that this is not the place, once you pay, that was all, even for returns you only have 48 hours and they make it difficult for you, they don't answer you as soon as they find out what it is for. They transfer you to different departments, they promise you that they will come and when the time window is up, they tell you that they can't do anything, so what do you do? You spend more money for another more expensive product that you like more and again you fall into the trap and the scam, the guarantee is the biggest scam. I do not recommend it. My article was an Angelino Heights sectional. The worst investment

    Never get their credit card. Biggest mistake. If your credit score goes down so will your limit and the second time they close your credit card without a notice, a letter or anything. I would never order from them again and I would never refer them to anyone. They are the worse for your credit.

    My Daughter, her Mother and I had a Wonderful time at the Rooms to Go in Norcross, Ga. (Outlet). We walked into the Store on Friday June 7th 2004, and we were greeted by (James **). He has a great attitude and an Excellent Demeanor with Customers. He stayed with us throughout the entire process of us (Making a decision) to buy several pieces of Furniture. Our purchase came to about ($3,000) and Mr. James ** didn't try to (Pressure us at all) to buy anything.

    Avoid Room to Go and their insurance provider Guardian! I posted Google review few months adding the same for awareness in this as well. I've had the worst experience with Room to Go and their insurance provider Guardian. Don't fall into the same trap! I bought a sectional sofa from Room to Go and here's what I've gone through: Received the wrong color and wrong parts TWICE. Had to wait 3 additional months for delivery and multiple follow-ups to get the correct delivery. This is excluding the actual delivery timelines of 3-4 months. Discovered cloth wrinkles, couch sinks in, and stains in Oct 2023. Called Room to Go and was told to contact Guardian for insurance claim. Guardian took weeks to approve claim and still no resolution. Room to Go is now asking me to call Guardian again to "submit a claim". I've spent HOURS on the phone explaining the same issue to both companies very frustrating, still no update on replacement after 2 months.

    This is harassment! Spending $4k on a couch and hours on customer service calls is unacceptable. Don't make the same mistake as we did ! Consider other furniture stores, even you can go to Amazon for better quality, delivery, and customer service. Update 6/5/2024- After 6 months of wait and back & forth between roomstogo and Guardian insurance, they are asking me to file a new claim again now. So today I'm on the customer service call from last 1hr to get connected to a representative of guardian. AVOID ROOMS TO GO & Guardian insurance

    Rooms To Go had a sale that end on May 27, 2024. I went to the store tp purchase a Couch and a bedroom set. I seen what I wanted and check my balance. My balance went from 7000.00 dollars to 590.00 dollars. I have never miss payment nor been late. Synchrony lowered my credit cards, which decreased my credit score. Once I pay These cards off, I will never get a company financing those Synchrony Bank. I didn't get what I came for. How can you all allow a bank to play with people credit. G. **

    I purchase a dining room set and chairs. I also purchased their extended warranty within six months. The chairs fell apart. The fabric was flaking off. They told me my extended warranty, would not cover that. I asked for a refund. They denied me. I spoke with a manager. There’s nothing they can do, and they still sell the same set on their website, knowing they're defective chairs.

    Purchased a sofa for over $5000 and buttons began to break immediately after purchasing. The seats have sunken in and they say it’s normal wear and tear. Have only had them 1 year. Paid for the extended warranty which does not cover anything. I would never recommend anyone buy from this terrible company.

It broke at the joint and customer 'service' has informed us that they cannot order parts, nor can they tell me who the manufacturer is.     Horrible customer service trying to get my couch fixed. Took 3 months for the part to arrive and it was shipped without any protection. It arrived at bent and not used two weeks later they have not responded and when I emailed they said it was out of warranty.. cheaply built couch!!! Bad customer service, I won’t shop there ever again!!

    My brother bought a sofa in Metairie, LA. It was delivered with no legs. Called and told them about the missing legs, Told my brother it was on back order and would take 90 days. It has been almost a month and still no legs. Who do you know delivers a sofa with no legs? What would you do of this happened to you?

    I bought a living room set from them and I had no complaints. But I bought a bed from them 1 yr ago and the bed stopped raising up and down, it's stuck, I tried changing the batteries in the remote and nothing. I called RTG 2 different times about it and they kept saying the same thing. A representative would be in touch with me in a couple days. I haven't heard from anyone yet. I paid a lot of money for the bed and just want it fixed..

    We ordered and received 2 couches and a chair from the Cindy Crawford Living Room Design. We are pleased with couches - they are big and extremely comfortable. Perfect to lounge on. Unfortunately, the delivery service was a nightmare!!! First of all they would not deliver to our lake home as it is not on the route. We agreed with that and stated if they would deliver to our home we would then transport the furniture ourselves. We were scheduled on 5/20 between 9am - 1pm and ours was the first stop. We received a call at 10:30am stating they were behind schedule. We received a call around noon stating they were 9 minutes out. Shortly after that we received a call asking if we were home because no one was answering the door. We were home and they were not at our house, nor did we say a truck anywhere on our street.

    About an hour later we received a call asking if we were pleased with our delivery. We stated we did not have our furniture. After that the calls continued and the whole thing just went downhill. We were finally told that we had "missed" the delivery and they were headed back to Dallas and would have to reschedule. We had been waiting on this delivery ALL day and had rented a trailer so we could move the furniture to the correct home. My husband was able to get a hold of the driver and met them near the highway where the furniture was loaded into our trailer. On top of all of this the couches have large marks on the back of them, because they were not wrapped properly. This was discovered when being moved into our trailer and the driver stated we would receive a cleaning kit. We are very anxious about this as you can not miss these spots. It was an exhausting and stressful day - I just don't think I can ever recommend Rooms to Go or will I shop there again.

    So I decided to change my queen size bed that I purchased from J and J Furniture 2001 so you know the quality their furniture like no other and decided to give Rooms To Go a try knowing I should have went with my first thought. When I came home after they delivered it I checked the bed over and found a long crack, gouge and scrape from where the delivery guys must have hit my wall because that's the same color of my wall paint. Blissful blue. I'm so disgusted because I don't get home until after hours so whenever they do try and replace the bed it's going to inconveniencing me because there's no telling when I'm going to be available. This was my first and my last time dealing with Rooms To Go.

    I had quite a time on several occasions with trying to get my couch. The first time the delivery men came they brought a wrong piece. Then, when they delivered the right part there was no cable to hook it up to. During all this the deliver man refused to deliver anything with a covering for my carpet. I put plastic down so as not to get the carpet dirt he said no. I gave him booties to wear he said no. Wouldn’t take his shoes off. It was very disrespectful.

    Loved the furniture in the store but it has been less than a year and it’s all falling apart. Cushions are splitting, wood frames are broke and the darn couch is so low to the ground now because the cushions don’t hold up! I really wish we would have had time to do more research before our purchase.

    We bought a new bed for our Mom for Mother's Day at the Pembroke Pines, FL Rooms to Go Store. Miriam ** greeted us at the door, and walked us through the process of the current mattress sale. She showed us several brands, and quickly helped us to zero in on what we were looking for. Ms. ** also made herself available so that Mom could come to the store and select the best choice for her comfort.     So we chose a dining room set on Sunday to be delivered today. I guess no one checks the order before it leaves the showroom because the table base was broken and two of the chairs were the wrong color. They are supposedly going to be bringing the correct chairs and a new table base next Wednesday. I wasn't home at the time, but rest assured if I had been, I would not have allowed them to leave my home without their furniture. Now I have a nice pile of unusable furniture in my otherwise well-kept home. I had so many bad feelings about doing business with this store that I ignored. My bad. Hopefully they will do what they say, but based on what I've seen so far, I have serious doubts. Check in next week for the conclusion of Rooms To Be Aware of!!

    Buyer beware. You WILL be lied to in order to make the sale. This has been the absolute worse experience. It has caused an abundance of stress. Everything we bought in February is already ruined! The sofa and loveseat are being replaced. But they are giving us the biggest run around about a table that their own tech said was a manufacturing issue. The manager said he was going to do an even swap. However the next few days we got other calls saying that wasn't going to happen. Then we were told to file a claim with Integra, we did right away and they denied the claim. This company doesn't value to customers, all about that dollar and will mislead and flat out lie to get your money!!!

    Updated on 06/23/2024: Terrible installation and after the sale customer service. The delivery crews have no idea how to properly install the furniture. We bought a sectional which was improperly installed and we went over 2 months thinking the merchandise was defective. Two of the pieces were not making the proper connection due to improper installation. We wasted over two months with phone calls, replacements and no one really knowing what the problem is. Finally, a technician tells, fixes it in 5 seconds and tells us the units were not connected properly.

    Original Review: Nice sectional, POOR customer service. Rooms To Go delivered our sectional this past weekend. We liked our salesman and the sectional but one of the pieces was the wrong piece and did not fit. After WE brought it to their attention, they arranged for a replacement, which would have also been wrong (per the picture they emailed ahead).

    The second time I called customer service I requested if I can buy one more small piece (drink holder) at the original price we paid for a similar piece in the set and have it delivered with the replacement. They refused and referred me to the store, which wanted to charge me the "a la carte" double price plus delivery charges. I think that is very poor customer service considering they screwed up our order twice. I was offering to pay for a 100-dollar piece that a customer service oriented company would have offered to us free to make up for their double screw-up.

    Visited the showroom located in Port Richey, Florida. Immediately, I was greeted by a very cheerful Sales Associate named Kate **! Kate asked me with her warm and welcoming smile how she could help me. I immediately felt my shopping experience was going to be very enjoyable and informative - IT WAS!!! I returned 2 more times before I made my final selections and Kate was exactly the same wonderful personality each time! Kate was AWESOME!!! I would highly recommend her to my friends!

    I purchased 2 chairs from Port Richey, Fl store. Both times our sales associate was Sheila Horne. I have a great review within a week of purchase of the first chair. New purchase high. Should have waited. First she tells you at point of sale that you should buy the extended warranty. “If it gets spilt on, piddled on by your child or pet, stained or torn the whole chair gets replaced”. Lie. Then I had my chair for less than a year and the cushions began to sink way down and I got a wound from the exposed wood frame.

    I called the warranty company and they said still under store warranty. Call them. I showed up and Sheila took the whole thing personally, like I shot her dog. They finally replaced the chair but she was going to make me buy a new extended warranty for new chair because I used the old one. I did not. It was the store warranty that was still in effect. I had to get a manager on his day off to approve it. Then Sheila was really upset because I went over her head.

    I got the new chair but leather is splitting at the seams. Unlike what she explained before, they don’t do a thing she claimed. They only basically cover wood frame and mechanics, but told me that Rooms to go will still cover leather. So, as instructed, I sent pictures of a hole from tear on footrest and tears around the rest of the footrest. They responded that they won’t help me because there is no wear or tear or holes. I sent them majorly close up shots. Their products are pretty but inferior quality and you just plain don’t exist once they have your money and commission. I will post this everywhere I can to save others from this headache.

    Beware of Rooms to Go. We have made purchases for over 20 years. We recently spend $5000 on new living room furniture. In that purchase, we had a $280 wall art. When at home, we found it defective. The store manager said all sales final and refused to make it right. I called the regional number and was told the same thing. The art will just go in the garbage. I’ll never buy from them again.

    I recently purchased close to $5000.00 dollars worth of furniture. It had to be delivered in 2 separate deliveries because some items were on back order. This is a big inconvenience. The delivery time was a 4 hour block of time that I needed to wait for them. I called customer service to get a better time frame and he said I was 6 on the list. He said they would call 30 before they are in route to my home. After 5 minutes of leaving my home I received a call from dispatch saying they were in front of my home. There was no call for 30 minutes notice and I was misinformed when I originally contacted customer service.

    The delivery drivers dropped the order in my front door and said they were not able to bring it any further. I was already inconvenienced by having to wait 2 Saturday's for a delivery that should have all came together and now I have to hire someone else to remove it from the box and place it in the area it should have been delivered to originally. There are many options when purchasing furniture and you can spend your money anywhere. Do not waste your time here. Customer service needs more training.

    I bought my kid's bedroom set from Rooms to Go. Delivered on schedule date but the technician was non professional. They broke my wall which I notice later. Then they not fully assembled the bed and left without informing. Then someone else came to assemble it after 2 weeks. Their Fortegra guard it service is trash. I called them for some wooden chips coming out from the chest, the technician came and checked it out saying they will inform us either they will replace it or fix it in four business days. They never contacted us. I contacted them after 45 days and they said this chips is not covered. I asked them your contract saying accident chips covered but he says his system only showing this that this claim is not covered. So please it's a wasted of money of extended warranty. They never honor what they said. Plus the quality of rooms to go is below average.

    I have been with Rooms to Go for many years and never had an issue till now. I purchased a living room set and within 2 years it was falling apart. I tried to get them to come out and fix it but they stated it was not covered. I then waited a few months and decided to purchase another set. After having the new set in my house I get an email out of the blue that that stated they were covering the set and to go into the store and pick out another set and it will be adjusted. I already donated the old set to a family in need. I reached out to the store and to the CEO Mr. Seaman. The store stated they could not do anything EVEN though when I purchased my new set there were NOTED IN MY ACCT that I was able to pick another set. they did nothing. I emailed the CEO twice with no response. This is very SAD and I will not do business with them after I pay off my set. The CEO doesn't care about the consumer at all.

    Do not buy a mattress from this store!! We went to the Knoxville, TN store. Was told by the salesman that we had 90 days to decide if we liked the mattress. No mention of not being able to return it for trade only! He straight up lied! I called the store 2 weeks ago and was told by a lady that she had to talk to management and the salesman was no longer working there. First, by the salesman, we were told the mattress was one kind, but delivered was another style. The lady looked and told me we received the same kind as in store. The original salesman lied about that too! This mattress is not the same! It is nowhere near the same feel! So, she said they'd call me back after she talked with manager.

    2 weeks later, nothing. I called today and was transferred to 2 different men. The second man told me he could wave the exchange fees, but they don't do returns. He claimed he was helping me, and that he was not the one who lied to me. I know he didn't lie, yet, his salesman did! I stated, I want nothing to do with this store, the mattress, or their lies. He told me to call customer care. They don't do anything but tell me to call the store. This is deceiving and theft to get large amounts of money! They lie to you to get you to spend thousands with no returns, that their own salespeople tell you!

    Me and my wife bought a sectional, bed and mattress for our son and mattress and box spring for our bed. In 3 years, I had to have my son's mattress replaced by rooms to go because it broke under a year's time (he wasn't even sleeping in it most of that time). Our sectional springs have all dropped and our bed mattress is sunk in!!! All in 3 years!!!! I've had Walmart furniture last longer. The sofa from Farmer's furniture I replaced with the sectional was in better condition after 15 years of use and three moves! It seems to me it is a bad business move to sell crappy furniture and expect repeat business or good word of mouth.

    I purchased this sleeper sofa less than one year ago. Although it looks very nice, I’m not happy with the way the cushion sinks in and the way the fabric buckles. Also not happy with the fact that the seam is starting to split, and now I have to take it to an upholsterer to repair. I am a little disappointed in Cindy Crawford, I thought the quality would be higher.

    I bought a Modularone sectional in April 2023, it was delivered in May 2023. Shortly after receiving the set, I noticed creaking noises when getting up off of the couch. I am not a big person so I did not understand why the couch was making a noise. I read online that this can be normal for new furniture but should subside and go away after the furniture has been broken in, almost a year later and it still creaks. It’s even gotten worse over time. When I called RTG to express my concern they sent out a repair tech who removed all the dust covers from the bottom of each piece and tightened something on the springs. This did not fix the issue and almost appears to have made it worse as it now creaks whenever I move a bit.

    I called RTG again yesterday to let them know it’s not fixed and that I’d like a replacement. I was told it can take up to 5 business days to get a response which seems a bit long considering they already know it could not be repaired and I’m still having the issue. I will not purchase furniture from RTG again. They make you jump through too many hoops to get things resolved and I still don’t know the outcome.

    Rooms to Go has good furniture but the company they use for delivery truly sucks. And for this reason, I will NEVER order from Rooms to Go again. Here is what occurred. The delivery guys didn’t know how to properly assemble my bed and damaged the wooden slats. Now my bed is NOT completely assembled. The delivery company damaged my dresser, so I never received it and the damaged dresser stayed in the truck. I only received the mirror, yet the delivery guys lied on their report and reported that the dresser was delivered successfully. Furthermore, the delivery should have included a bed mattress protector, but I did NOT receive this item on the day of delivery. Again the delivery guys lied on their report and reported that this item was delivered.

    On Monday, 4/15/24, I called Rooms to Go and tried to settle my issue with my original sales representative, but that was useless because nothing got resolved. Even though I was reassured by my sales representative that the issues were resolved. So, I decided to visit Rooms to Go in person on 4/15/24 to resolve the same issues. I spoke with another salesman but this was useless again because nothing got resolved and I was falsely reassured that these issues were resolved. Frustrated and upset, I went back to Rooms to Go again on 4/17/24 and spoke with a manager. She tried to resolve my issues, but the third-party delivery company is NOT responding to any emails from Rooms to Go. Today is 4/19/24 and my issues still hasn’t been resolved all because of the lack of communication and cooperation from the third-party delivery company.

    As I’m writing this complaint on 4/19/24, Rooms to Go finally informed me my damaged wooden slats and missing dresser are set up for delivery next week on 4/24/24. However, for me to go through so much trouble, frustration, false reassurances from the Rooms to Go team in Round Rock. Then there’s the poor communication, falsifying the delivery report, and damaging my bed, I will NEVER order from Rooms to Go again.

    I should have heeded the warnings before I purchased online. An 80 inch TV console cabinet to be delivered on the 12th of April moved to the 17th and actually arrived on the 16th while no one was home and placed in the yard. The delivery picture clearly shows box damage on the corner. When I was finally able to make it home the console was in fact corner damaged and scratched. Thousand bucks for basically trash and because this is a "vendor order" they do not process damage claims. It's up to some 72 hour review. The option to return is just as ridiculous. Steer away folks.

    I bought a leather sectional for $3,060.00 two years ago consisting of four sections. The two end sections are electric recliners. When I bought it, the salesperson never mentioned an extended warranty was available. The sectional came with a one year warranty. About a week ago, one of the electric recliners stopped working. I called Rooms To Go to ask if I could have a service repairperson come by and see what was wrong with it and I would gladly pay to have it repaired. The customer service agent informed me that they could only send out a service agent if I had bought an extended warranty. She told me that I would have to find my own company that fixes electric recliners.

    I searched online and couldn't find any company that fixes electric recliners in my area of Vero Beach, FL. So now I have a non working recliner that can't be fixed by a local company. I think that a responsible company would offer some sort of service support for a fee, but it seems Rooms To Go doesn't really care what happens to their customers after a sale is completed. I will never buy anything from Rooms To Go ever again because they don't stand behind their products. Buyers beware!!

    WARNING-DO NOT PURCHASE A MATTRESS FROM THIS STORE!!! My husband and I purchased a Tempur-Pedic mattress from Rooms to Go at the Friendswood location 3 weeks ago and have been lied to, and scammed. Do not waste your money with this company! We were in the store for 2 days speaking with Kai the salesman. We wanted to make sure this was the bed for us, all of our options. We have had the Serta iComfort Mattress for many years and have loved it. Kai sold us on the Temper-Pedic, because he told us we had nothing to worry about, we had a 90 day sleep trial period and all we would lose if we returned it was $168 restocking fee. After 2 days of going back and forth on what we really wanted to do, we went ahead and bought the Temper-Pedic mattress for almost $4,000. We also ended up purchasing a whole new bedroom set.

    So $6,800 later, here I am writing a negative review. Why? Because Kai and Rooms To Go lied to us! At no point in time in the 2 days we spent in the store were the words, you may ONLY return the mattress to get a mattress equal in price or greater. We bought the most expensive mattress in the store. The manager at this location, she was beyond rude, zero sympathy or empathy. She kept saying the paper with this information is in the packet. Umm excuse me?! So what they do is, lie to you during the sale. After you purchase the mattress, they give you your paperwork with the no refund policy on mattresses. Yes, you heard me correctly! After you've purchased!

    Actually, we didn't even get paperwork because the printer wasn't working. Even if we did, at what point is this ok to do to people. We didn't want a full refund, we wanted a serta mattress that was $2,000. So now, I've canceled my order completely, so they lost the sale on the bedroom furniture and I'm going to keep fighting the mattress sale. I'm telling everyone to stay clear away from Rooms To Go! The manager is horrible, the salesman lied to us. DO NOT BUY A MATTRESS FROM THIS STORE!

    Took 3 deliveries for them to bring the right bed. I purchased insurance for all my furniture and come to find out now the sales person didn’t apply the insurance to all of it. I requested service because the dresser drawers were getting stuck and someone came and move the drawers around and said they were good now, I wasn’t home. The drawers are getting stuck again, I called and now they are telling me I do not have insurance so they are not helping me. Even though the guy that came before did nothing.

    I suggest you not to buy in ROOMS TO GO store. When you buy with them, they give you a nice but lying explanation. In my case I bought a living room set supposedly of the best leather in 2019, we are two people in my house no pets or anything there and have been cared for like gold and two years ago are already peeled in the arms. When I bought them they told us that they had a lifetime warranty and everything they say is a lie. The furniture cost that date 3600 dollars, that is not cheap at all. There are many other stores to buy however, Don't do it in room to go

    I have been a customer for 2 years with Rooms to Go. I have had so many Brand names of mattresses and all were defective. I went from the higher quality of money to the less quality of money and all were defective. Every week I had to exchange my mattresses, so people, please be aware of this as you will get stuck like I did. Plus they were nasty people with me.     We purchased a sofa plus loveseat, coffee table and tables. It was January 2024. Our furniture wasn’t delivered until March 6, 2024. When Rooms to Go workers came to deliver the furniture we noticed the loveseat was damaged. We called rooms to go corporate office. What an awful experience with the corporate office. It’s April we still got no progress. We have a big hole in the loveseat. Not our fault. All we wanted them to do is exchange for another one Corporate refuse. Corporate wanna to send someone to patch up the hole. The room to go worker brought leaves in to our home and didn’t finish the job! The young lady at Corporate was very very unprofessional in my opinion! We’re still waiting for them to fixed this problem! I would not recommend any of my friends or anyone who asked about shopping at rooms to go!

    I purchased a sectional for $4200. It was delivered defective. I was told by the delivery person to call to see what could be done about it. I call and a service technician came out 5 days later and stated the sofa needs replacing. It is unrepairable. The sections do not align and the color is fading. It was his opinion that the sofa was not new. I called RTG 1 day later and was told to call back 5 days later. I just want to return it at this point. The sofa I am replacing is in better condition.

    We purchased a La-Z-Boy recliner from RTG online as part of the anniversary sale. It took 3weeks for delivery. When we sat down in it we noticed the arms were loose. Called customer service and they sent a repair person to check it out. They verified it was broken, arms broke off the frame. Never heard back about replacement, called them and it will be 3 more weeks until replacement. Asked for compensation for hassle and they said no. Never again will we shop at RTG!!!

    So on delivery date (4/3/2024) the time got changed 3 times... This is annoying but I can understand but then when my La-Z-Boy recliner. Got to my house the guy who brought it noticed the leg was cracked and gave me a card to call... I did and the woman was rude. Said it would be another week before I could get the new one and then when I asked, "Is there no way to get it rushed?" She told me, "Well ya but I get off at 4:30." It was delivered at 4... I said, "Well am I going to be compensated for my time?" and her response was, "Well we are replacing it," well no duh but now I have a broken recliner sitting in my house .. I know I am just a number and a dollar to them ...I should have shopped around. This is definitely my last purchase.

    When I sold my home here in TX, I chose to purchase all new furniture, sofa, kitchen table and 4 chairs and a new queen size mattress with frame, I found the mattress I wanted and spend $800 for it. But, within 9 months time, my mattress sank in. Rooms to Go sent a tech to verify it and yes, the mattress was done. So, my neighbor took me to Rooms to Go to get another queen mattress for $1500 and I put the $800 credit from the old mattress towards the purchase of my new one. But, again... this new queen mattress collapsed where you sleep within 1 (one) months time and this time, I asked for a full refund.

    The total I had paid was $1626.95 and I should have gotten ALL of my money back to my bank account, not just $1519.78 .But Rooms to Go charged me for pick up and disposal fees for a new mattress that wasn't up to par. Why should I have had to pay this fee when they should have eaten the disposal/ pickup fee? I lost on the whole deal as the consumer and Rooms to Go should be ashamed of themselves.

    I purchased several pieces of furniture when I move to town, All of them are inferior in quality. I also purchase the extra warranty which nothing is covered. I hardly sit on one of my sofas and it looks like it's ten years old and I also cover it with a sheet. My real dissatisfaction comes from the sales rep selling me this extra warranty. That was a complete waste of money because they will never stand behind their product.

    I will never purchase a single thing from Rooms to Go ever again, Havertys has such better quality and their warranties are actually legit. This couch is not even a year old and we hardly ever go into that room. I do have pets. To be fair but it had a sheet on it 80% of the time. Don't do it, shop around, it's cheap and they don't stand behind it. Also 10000% DO NOT BUY THE EXTRA WARRANTY

    If you make the mistake of ordering furniture from Rooms to Go, I hope you don't get any defective items. If you do, you will have to jump through hoops to get them to replace or refund it. I purchased a manual reclining sofa that within a few months the frame broke on. I had to take a day off work to have a service tech come out to look at it, it took him all of five seconds to determine the problem. They luckily were able to replace it with another one within a couple of weeks. Fast forward another few months and the replacement also suffered the same failure. After having to wait a month for a tech to come out, I wasn't able to be home, because they only call you the day before to let you know the time that they will be there.

    Now after having to wait another month, and had to take another day off work, for a tech to come out and tell me what I have already told Rooms to Go, the frame is broken, the tech canceled. So now I have missed a day of work and they are telling me that they are unable to work with me and schedule a time that works for me, just a day. Now I have to miss another day of work to hopefully not have them cancel again. Save your money and buy from a better company that actually respects their customers.

    I am so disenchanted with the quality of the furniture. We spent $3200 on an outdoor furniture set. At month 14 there was warping of the top of the table. At month 24 you can literally stick your finger through the wood on top. We filed a complaint at month 14 and we were told nothing they can do because we missed the warranty window by two months. Today (month 24) we called corporate and spoke with a customer service “manager”. My husband was respectful and calm and she hung up on him. Buyer beware, you are investing your hard earned money on disposable low quality products with employees that are disrespectful and unhelpful. Rooms to Go does not stand behind products and does not care about you the customer. The next question asked is if I would recommend to a friend…Product is so bad I would not recommend to an enemy.

    My husband and I went to Rooms to Go in Sarasota last Saturday because they were having a mattress promotion. Buy any mattress over a certain price and you get a free adjustable base. When we entered the store we were greeted by a very personable young man named Christian **. I told him we were looking for a Split King mattress and were there because of the free base promotion. He said he wasn't sure the split king applied but after checking he said it did. I made it perfectly clear to him that if it wasn't that was a deal breaker for us. After showing us a variety of mattresses we settled on a Therapedic at which time we were told the free base was head only but we could easily upgrade to the head and foot model for an additional charge which we did.

    Christian told us that the frame had a 7 Year warranty which we later found out we paid an additional $198 for which we were not told at the time of sale. We thought the $198 was the upgrade charge to the free frame for the foot lift we requested. It wasn't until the next day when I went on line to check the depth of the mattress to order sheets for it that I found out the mattress was actually only $2194.00 without a foundation but when you added the base Christian listed on our paperwork the price went up to $3192.00 which is what we were charged. So guess what? There was no free base.

    I am writing this review not because of the money but because of the shady way things were added to our bill without our knowledge and the fact that we were lead to believe that we were getting a free base with an upgrade charge not the full price of the base. If the free base offered was $800 and our base was $998 why were we not charged the difference instead of having to pay the whole $998. I went back to the store today to talk to him about it and he acted like he had no clue what free base I was talking about. After going behind closed office doors for 5-10 minutes he came out and said the only thing he could do was swap the base we chose for the free one with no foot lift or a box spring. Again it is not about the money but I feel like we were definitely taken advantage of and I will never shop at Rooms to Go ever again after this experience.

    I purchased a leather automatic sofa and recliner with built-in USB chargers, I purchased the extra 3-year warranty, I had to replace the arm a few times because the USB chargers would stop working and the couch would short out, after 3.5 years the back of one side of the couch completely broke off. I spent 3000$ on this set, it was no longer covered by warranty, so, just threw 3000$ in the trash. I am 58, I’ve never had a sofa do that. I’m sitting on a 7-year-old sofa from Wayfair right now in perfect condition. I will never purchase furniture from Rooms to Go again, it is too expensive and cheaply made.

    I bought furniture from Rooms To Go in 2022 and 2023. The issue that I am writing about is the furniture from January 2023. Well, in December of 2023 my ottoman collapsed. I called Rooms To Go, but they told me to call Guardian. Guardian told me to call Rooms To Go. Kept getting run around, but finally had a guy come out and take pictures, but never heard from or Rooms To Go again. Now, they are saying that the year warranty has expired. Um, I called in December about this issue BEFORE the warranty was expired. No help whatsoever and been dealing with this for months! So, either they fix it, or I will be suing.

    I am writing this review out of disgust and feeling of being ripped off. Went to R2G to furnish a bedroom, dining room and a living room, show room looked bright and organized, perfect bait and switch. Shopped around and made some choices. My bill was over $5300. Now the furniture started arriving, once you start putting it together you see that the furniture was junk junk junk. Bedroom cost over 3 grand, junk hardware bolts popping in half, wood slats looked like came from a pallet with splinters, handles tarnished and discolored, almost showing rust blisters, wood varnish powder coming off on your hand and turning to dust on the floor, not to mention the pungent smell that would not go away. Sofa and love seat was one of top items in the showroom, faulty legs that spin forever never to tighten.

    When I complained, they said, "You own it. We can send out a guy to fix stuff, exchange for something more expensive is your only option, and pay more out of pocket," that’s when I realized I’ve been ripped off. I hope people reading this run away from that place, ask can return something that is defective. Shop more reputable stores. Pay extra for QUALITY furniture. Stay away from this place.

    I visited Rooms to Go showroom on Sunday Mar 3, 2024 at 1247 N Town East Blvd, Ste K, Mesquite, TX 75150, 2:27 pm in the afternoon. I visited here solely with interest in purchasing chairs for my bedroom living space. I already had in mind what chair I wanted and just wanted to touch, see, sit and feel to be certain prior to purchasing. The sales person allowed me time to look around and upon not finding the chair I check in with him and he was unable to find it in the store. While speaking with him I notice the chair sitting adjacent to where we were standing. Ordered the chair on site in the color specific to my space.

    The sales person stated that there was scotchgard and other additional value that was included in the purchase. I said okay and scheduled delivery. Once returning home I discovered I was charged for premium delivery that was not advised of nor was I provided any options. Secondly the scotchgard service is a 3 year warranty that is not included, it is an upsale added to the ticket unknowingly to the customer. I called and was able to get both removed.

    Delivery day- The delivery people brought the chairs to my door but prior one of the chairs fell off the truck still in the box. 2 days later after unpacking said box chair appeared to be in good condition until I sat down and the chair lounged forward. This is not a rocking chair. This is a swivel chair. I immediately contacted customer service. I was advise to submit photos the damage to the link provided via text on 3/14/2024 and a representative would reach within 24-48 hours as the store was closing within minutes. I provided the photos to the link at 5:36 am on 03/15/2024 as instructed and have not had any response from the customer service representative or any member of their team as of today 3/19/2024.

    Brand new white leather sofa and love seat by the Drew brothers. Sections are turning reddish-pink. The service rep. came and took pictures. They are saying this is not the manufacturer's fault. This is caused by exposure to light. The furniture is in the middle of the house. No direct light. I cannot believe they are claiming such nonsense and cannot believe the brothers would put their name to subpar product. And shame on rooms to go for not making this purchase right. They are refusing to do anything about it. So we have furniture that's 2 months old turning a different color. Unbelievable!!!

    My issues were resolved to my satisfaction. Rooms to Go sent out a team prepared to completely replace or to repair the bed. They arrived this afternoon and were here less than an hour. The representatives/delivery personnel were very professional and immediately saw and understood the problem. They then quickly and efficiently resolved the problem.

    A bed was delivered and it made strange cracking sounds if I moved while sleeping. I contacted RTG and they sent someone to check into it (nearly a week later). The professional inspector informed me that "sleeping on this bed as it was assembled would be dangerous." I immediately contacted customer service who informed me nothing could be done but schedule repairs in about 5-7 days. Even though I informed them I now have no place to sleep in my home until this is fixed and emphasized the risk, I was told "I'm sorry but there's nothing we can do but schedule someone to come out next week." I still do not know if this issue will be resolved at that time or another scheduling must be done. I would not recommend using Rooms-To-Go delivery services and support.

I got my dining set yesterday, the chair cushions are stiff as a rock, spoked to the manager, he was very stuck on the company's rules, he told us we could swap but we would be charge 10% restocking fee and new PICK UP AND AND DELIVERY FEE because you are not allowed to, bring them back yourself, at this point I'm so upset that I just want to return the whole thing, because they don't stand on the quality of the furniture, they don't care about Customer Satisfaction, It doesn't exist any longer.

    We are stuck having to live with cheap, awful chairs or pay hundreds more to get something better than this. I want to return the whole thing, it is disgusting, were we are here today, having to fight to get some satisfaction, over a simple dining set! I will Never purchase anything from your store ever again. I will tell my family and friends to stay away from your business, if they don't want to be screwed like us, we are seniors and we are not rich, shame on you people. Stay away from this place if you don't want headaches.

    My experience with Rooms To go was very bad, I will not buy anything again. Never put the extended warranty because IT DOES NOTHING. Buy six dining room chairs and get an extended warranty. They sent a technician, who indicated that the chairs had to be replaced. And Rooms to go said NO!!! That's why I DID NOT RECOMMEND THEM, YOU LOSE YOUR MONEY IF YOU PUT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY IS NOT WORKING. DON'T BUY ANYTHING.

    I visited Rooms To Go but should have done my research… based on the reviews here I should have gone anywhere else. Regardless I purchased a king size mattress and sofa. Got delivery in under a week but because we took three minutes to get to the house they left. Trying to get people to answer the phone was near impossible and call backs are even worse.

    When they finally came back they were just rude. Our first night on the new mattress was horrible. We ordered a medium hybrid but it definitely is a firm. Called the Wilmington NC store to explain the problem and my salesman Jayson basically told me that because it was in my house it was mine and too bad. I’m still waiting two days later to hear from the non existent manager and suffering with hip and back pain from this bed. Avoid salespeople who don’t explain return policies just to get a sale. Or better yet shop somewhere others than RTG!!! They are obviously not concerned about their customer's opinions.

    In Feb 2022, we ordered this sectional with an extended warranty. It was delivered 4-6 weeks later. In October 2023, the supports for the love seat and back broke completely into pieces. We contacted Customer Care to request that the couch be repaired in Nov 2023. After a follow up contact, a person finally came out and told us that the couch would need to go to the shop and then he left. We waited! In late January, 2024, after numerous text messages, the repair company came out and picked up the couch for repair. It was returned to us about 2 weeks later. After the repair company left, we noticed that the repaired couch was 1 1/2” higher where it abutted the chaise and was about 1 1/2” lower on the other end where the arm piece is.

    We contacted RTG Customer Care again and after about two weeks and several text messages, we were told that the repair work meets the manufacturer’s standards. In my opinion, it does not meet any standards of repair as the couch is now an eye sore in our family room. The first thing one notices is that the “love seat” part of the couch is sagging. Even though the couch is only (now) two years old, it looks completely worn out. There are only two people in our household—no kids and no dogs. The sectional was only 19 months old when it broke. Because RTG and their Customer Care appear to have no interest or obligation to make certain their furniture is repaired properly, I strongly recommend that anyone looking for furniture look elsewhere than Rooms to Go to buy their furniture if they don’t want to have to replace it in less than 2 years.

    Do not buy furniture from Rooms To Go! We bought 2 couches 8 months ago. They have already been replaced once and now they came out and said they can’t be replaced or repaired and we have to pick something else. But since we bought them on sale they will only give us the sale price we paid not the original price, so to replace them we have to reward rooms to go for their crappy products and give them more money because nothing comparable is on sale any more.

    Every time we talk to someone the amount they are giving us changes, and they claim there are no notes on the account where we’ve spoken to anyone. We asked if we can just be cashed out since we had the couches less than 90 days when they started messing up and they refuse stating it’s their policy but when we asked where in the protection/replacement plan it says that and to send us a copy of said policy, they can’t. They are also not refunding us for shipping and we will have to pay for shipping on whatever we choose! Save yourself a lot of trouble and avoid Rooms to Go!

    My experience with Rooms to Go was awful. The service inside of the business was very helpful. The delivery and product was terrible. I purchased something from this business on two different occasions. On both occasions they went past the four hour delivery window. On both occasions I had to reschedule because they delivered damaged furniture. The first delivery was damaged and I went through the process of a discount and the staff and customer care made it so hard to discount the furniture that they damaged. The second occasion I was fed up and went through the refund process which was difficult. I would not recommend this furniture store to the worst person in the world.

    Absolutely do not waste your time. Scheduled delivery (unrealistic) 8-12. Had to take my kids to school and the guys showed up.     I purchased a sectional and feathers continue to come out and poke family and friends. I contacted Rooms to go and they made out that it doesn't happen. They sent out a service technician and he said that it is an ongoing occurrence which they are called out all the time. Why would you continue to sell a product in which you know that there is an on going problem. I guess as long as you're making a sale on Cindy crawford products that's all that matters. Hopefully they will get problem resolved but I don't recommend any purchasing Cindy crawford product from rooms to go.

    Purchased a new living room set. The sectional made of fabric material with a tropical appearance. Purchased June 2023. Now the sectional has completely frayed from the back pillows to the cushions. The material inside the pillows is cheap as the pillows do not even hold their shape. I purchased the extended warranty but I am honestly angered at this over priced purchase ($,3,000). I think I am just going to move onto a high quality furniture product from Macy’s. Being from the Midwest initially, Macy’s is the most popular business to purchase furniture from. Living in a new community I have had neighbors inform me that they have had negative reviews also with Rooms to Go.

    I ordered furniture to be delivered to my new home on a specific date online yet RTG's system generated a new date 3-weeks sooner. The local RTG store did an amazing job of rescheduling my in-store order. However, their vendor ships immediately, which is not an issue to get customers' furniture delivered quickly. However, it is a problem if you need your furniture delivered at a later date. This information is not provided when ordering. It shows as if you can ask for a specific date for all things ordered. This is the case for the in-store (local) dept, not so for their vendor. PLEASE Be careful that you order at least 1 to 2 two weeks before desired delivery.

    I am writing this complaint because you took away the Vegas white Bedroom set. I know that had to be one of your best sellers. I loved my Bedroom set so much that I bought the Queen size and the night stand as a set then went the next year and bought the dresser. This year I wanted to upgrade to the King but guess what I couldn’t because your company took it away. It was beautiful, upscale and elegant. It gave Queen vibes and now your bedroom set you have now is garbage. It doesn’t deliver anything close to what the Vegas white gave. I am upset and disappointed. Rooms To Go please do better and bring that bedroom set back.

    This is leather; however, is able to be rubbed off with just sitting. We have had our set less than a year and had the extended warranty, but the damage is considered “normal wear and tear”. We’ve had a lot of leather couches that were 5-10 years old that did not have this “wear and tear”.

    Bought a sofa, perfect. Beautiful platform queen bed. Ask if I needed a box spring. Told no. There is a bunkie board here. Salesman Jayden showed me the bunkie board on the bed. I asked if it came with the bed like on the display. I was told yes. When the furniture was delivered a day late, due to delivery company. And I had paid for express delivery. There was not bunkie board.

    When calling the store, Rooms To Go. I was told I did not purchase that item. Even after explaining what the salesman told me I am told I have to purchase very necessary part to the bed!! So I was sold a incomplete bed. I now have to pay more money and have it delivered. Delivery company is very unprofessional. Given 3 different delivery times, they showed up one and a half hours early knowing I would not be there. Then lied and I have witnesses that they called me several times and I did not answer and I wasn't home. I was waiting on the front porch. They never came back. Still no refund issued for late delivery. But was told that after I buy this bunkie board and have it delivered there will be a $50.00 credit.

    Ordering online is a joke! I ordered a sectional and wanted the chaise on the LEFT side of the sectional and they delivered it on the right. Spoke to a supervisor Mike and wanted to charge me an additional delivery fee for $96. After hearing me complain he lowered it to $69. If you can lower the delivery fee, you can waive it. Especially, since it wasn’t my fault. I’m canceling and getting my refund and will never order from Rooms to Go again!

    I was charged 20% restocking fees on returning a mattress within 90 night sleep trail. Rooms to Go policy is very clear on charging $168.00 exchange fees for the reselection and pickup and return. Rooms to Go did not stand by their policy and made all kind of excuses to void the sleeping trail policy unprofessionally. I will never consider doing business with them. Room to Go business is a scammers in interpreting their policy in their favor.

    12-31-2023 I purchased a bedroom suite that listed Bed, Mirror & Dresser, Bed Frame, and Nightstand that was on sale. What I thought would be a very easy transaction has turned out to be quite the run-around. Initially, the bedroom suite was supposed to deliver on 1/23/2024. Just days before the delivery I was contacted and informed that delivery could not be executed until 1/31/2024. That part was fine. Upon delivery, it was noted that there was NO nightstand. During the sales process, I actually pulled up the ad and showed the sales person the ad and said order as is. He confirmed the pieces and price and with the addition of mattress and box springs, wrote up the order to finalize the transaction. Woe is me for not reviewing more carefully (no listing of the nightstand) and after being told by the salesman it would be with the order, I left the store.

    After the delivery, I contacted the store and ask for a manager (after being informed that the sales person was not at work that day) and was told he would call me back, that he was in a staff meeting. Not only did he NOT call me back, he left it to a young lady who tried her best to appease me when she said that "on sale" items as grouping for bedrooms "never" included the nightstand. Pitiful when a store manager can't follow up. Even worse, when you pull up ads for RTG, all include pics of night stands and a price but no disclaimer that it is NOT a part of the grouping.

    The furniture is nice, the delivery folks were great, but, I think we were mis-informed about what we had purchased as well as poor "customer service" and poor "management" response. Believe me, I will from now on think "TWICE" about entering a Rooms To Go store to purchase furniture in the future. All I can say is get it in writing and confirm, I know I'll not trust a word from them again.

    If I could give Zero, I would! I purchased a living room set from Great American Home Store (now Rooms to Go). I submitted a claim, technician came out. There is a spring in the sofa that makes a noise and you can feel it pop on your back. Tech submitted the claim and Montage said that the part is no longer made. They were going to see how to resolve. Then comes Service dept at Great American (now Rooms to Go), they said they could order the part. It has been almost 7 months!!! I would check in monthly for an update and express my frustration! Well today I receive a notification that a tech has been assigned to come out. Confused as to why they are sending a tech again I called. I was on the phone/on hold for an hour and a half! Montage would call Great American, now Rooms to Go.

    Rooms to Go stated that the part had been delivered to their Memphis location (this is NOT the location where I purchased my furniture) and that I would need to pick up the part for the repairs to be made. Excuse me, I will need to pick up the parts... I have never heard of such a thing! 7 months ago when this all first started, I was told the parts would be delivered to my house. I told Montage, absolutely not, I would not pick up the parts. The Memphis store is an hour away from my house. I asked why couldn't Rooms to Go ship it to my home or have the tech pick up. DO NOT BUY FROM ROOMS TO GO or get a Warranty from MONTAGE! 7 months is too long to deal with this and then a slap in the face for them to request we pick up the parts. Terrible service from both parties.

    I purchased a rocker recliner online at Rooms To Go. It was delivered, worked great for a few days, then started squealing. Reported to customer care. A service technician came out and couldn't fix it so he ordered a part to replace. Well on 1/18/24 I called to see when the chair would be fixed. I was told the part was ordered 1/17/24 a full 5 days after his visit. I then asked Lillian, the care representative, if I could have it replaced without waiting weeks more to have it repaired. I was told no, so I asked for a manager. Well a few minutes later Lillian came back on the phone and again no replacement so I then asked for a refund. No refund after 48 hours.

    The chair didn't squeak until 5 days of use. Lillian did tell me that I'm not the only person requesting service. That was very rude to tell a customer and I replied appropriately not as the furniture is not constructed well. Then tried to reach corporate office twice, was given back to the 800 # both times. I will never buy from Rooms To Go again and would never recommend to anyone.

    It is understood that companies sometimes have inconsistent customers' experience, but this one is worth flagging to potential buyers from Rooms To Go (RTG). I spent $6K+ at RTG in the Colony store in Texas around XMass 2023 & similar $$ at NFM as I relocated recently to TX but what a difference between the two experiences! No issues whatsoever encountered with the NFM order. In contrary, the order with RTG was broken down into three as I learned later that an item (Love seat) was out of stock and had to exchange with a recliner. A part of my order was a coffee table set that did not have suction cups and the glass was just floating and not stable. The recliner operating design did not match the one for the set as it either goes completely flat or be like a chair!

    RTG sent a tech to check the coffee set who recommended changing and confirmed the recliner does not operate as the rest of the set. I went back to the store which is 45 mins from my residence to discuss options. The office rep was friendly and called the manager (J) who was in the store but did not bother to come to asks for details, opposite of all the hype that RTG cares about customer experiences etc! Rather this manager hid behind the rep and told her to go with what the tech recommended and for the recliner he said tell him "it's too bad but he cannot return" despite not operating as the rest of the living room set. I asked her whether this typical as he did not come and he did not ask for detail about what happened, she shook her head! I asked to call him and let him know that I need to talk to him.

    He came seeming annoyed and he repeated the same before greeting or even seeking to understand the situation. When I try to share what happen, he has what seemed to be "ready answers". He said he cannot confirm the details about the order and what led to what and they had the recliner on the floor and I should have tested it. I said the recliner was not olin the original order and should to review the facts in his own system first before jumping to conclusion. I asked him repeatedly to check his system but he did not bother, with negative body language e.g. moving his shoulders and shaking his head! Then I said this is the worst customer experience I have ever had. He shook his head and stated "well, the best I can do is return but you will pay a restocking fee which 20%/$130."

    I let him know that this is not what I was expecting from a reputable firm like RTG and that the credit card I used offer a product satisfaction guarantee so I will call them and provide the facts which will lead to him losing much more. He did not seem to care. Ironically, I was planning to buy a couple of rugs and an electric log stand $2K+ which I will no longer do and I will trigger the product sat guarantee. Unfortunately, this is classic use case of what not to do as if he has the proper skills needed, he could have explain his company policy and offer to escalate or at least bother to get the facts vs trying to convince me on how the recliner should work and be arrogant, ruining the firm reputation he represents then trying to use a restocking fee as a return deterrent, where unjustified.

    This is a total disappointment and hope more people read this and be very careful if they decide to buy from Rooms to go as they are Rooms NOT to go, indeed. In their mission "To provide top-quality furnishings at the best value', they need to train managers that the underlying principle of "best value" is proving a seamless customer experience since customer retention is much cheaper than acquisition!!!!

    Don't buy from Rooms To Go and do not buy a Guardian warranty from anywhere. They both screwed us over. The salesperson said it covered stains on babies and pets. That is a lie. They will not cover it. We spent a lot of money. They don't care. It's a huge disappointment on how they treat their clients. They are getting rich off your dollar and mine. We were lied to and taken advantage of. Lesson learned. Rooms To Go and Guardian have no morals. If I could give no stars I would.

    We purchased many products in the past from RTG only to be recently MOSTLY disappointed. We purchased the SOLANA POP EXTENSION TABLE WITH GLASS in December 2020 for $699.99. After only 1-year, the discoloration of one of the panels was extremely evident. We also purchased the FORTEGRA 3-YEAR GUARD warranty ($56) which is TOTALLY USELESS. If you’re going to purchase from RTG, which I do not recommend, DO NOT PURCHASE ANY SERVICE CONTRACT.

    In summary… 1. I was promised by the sales representative online if I didn’t like the table for any reason I could return it. 2. The table broke upon assembly (piece of crap), so I called and spoke with ** and she asked me to send pictures, which I did (though I’m not sure why, I no longer liked it and wanted to return so pictures seemed unnecessary). 3. I sent the pictures, never heard back so called again and spoke with ** and sent him pictures. No response. 4. I sent the pictures to Jamal on the online chat help, he put me on hold for over 45 minutes when trying to connect me somewhere else. 5. I then re-sent my pictures to both emails above, with a delivery receipt request, and the emails were delivered. Again and with no surprise, no response. 6. I filled out the customer service form at RoomsToGo online, NO response. 7. This has been going on for TWO MONTHS. DO NOT BUY from Rooms To Go! Definitely not online, horrible customer service, worst I’ve ever seen.

    Updated on 04/23/2024: After a manufacturing defect on my original furniture (Holes from improperly installed rods poked holes in sofa cushions) forced me into a warranty exchange for a new model (Previous sofa discontinued), I was delivered furniture on 03/29/2024 which was not as advertised (Advertised sofa Depth 39 inches vs. actual sofa depth 36 inches.).

    I notified customer support via email on 04/01 and the local store on 04/02 of the unsatisfactory sofa I had received. At that time, I was told by the store (Raleigh, NC) that I'd be charged a 20% restock fee if I wanted to find something else. I found this unacceptable because I was clearly dealing with a manufacturing issue. I then spoke with corporate who informed me that if I took delivery of the same model sofa and it was still found unacceptable, then I would be able to select another set without incurring a restock fee.

    I took delivery of the new sofa on 04/11/2024 during which I informed Rooms to Go upon delivery that the replacement furniture had the same issues. I was then informed by the representative who called during delivery that I was clear to reselect a sofa/loveseat and I would hear from the store. I also received a call from the Dunn NC store to inform me that my reselection was cleared.

    On 04/14 I visited the Dunn NC store, selected a new set and during checkout I was presented with a restock fee when the associate was finalizing the sale. The associate contacted the Raleigh store who informed us that only Rooms To Go Corporate could remove the restock fee. On Monday 04-15, I contacted Rooms To Go Corporate who informed me that only the Raleigh store could remove the restock fee. Both of these things cannot be true. I'm not looking to get anything for free but I do expect to be treated fairly.

    Original Review: Impossible to file warranty claim: I purchased living room and bedroom furniture from rooms to go in early 2021. I had problems with the sofa coming apart after about 14-18 months. When I tried to file a warranty claim, I called the provider and the automated answering service directed me to their website due to "high call volume" (40+ minutes each call)... Then my web and email inquiries went unanswered. I contacted Rooms to Go customer service who would only refer me back to the warranty service provider. The warranties are not usable and Rooms to Go continues to sell this product to consumers. I do not advise purchasing from Rooms to Go.

    I bought a dresser and they send it through the seller directly without assembly. The seller send one part first (screws) and the other part later without notice. I called to cancel, the guy told me he did the cancellation and told me to put the part the seller send me in the trash (Thank God I didn’t) a week later I receive the dresser so I decide to stay with it because what I doesn’t have no choice as I saw at the moment. When I assembled the dresser (took me one entirely day) I notice they put the wrong measurements for the screw holes and the quality terrible. I pay $500.00 for poor quality dress. The most sad part is that one month later I went to IKEA in Charlotte NC and they have better dressers with better price, quality and even the ones in clearance was in better shape and quality. This is my complaint. I don’t have problem with the inside store but online never again.

    I purchased a recliner from Rooms to Go. Paid $800 for it and it’s just a piece of junk. The recliner squeaks when you rock and then they exchange it the first time and the new recliner had scratches on it, then they exchanged the second time, and that one the top and the bottom did not match the colors, the third one had a knocking noise, the fourth one had a horrible, knocking noise and a squeak.. I only bought the recliner because it has a mint color and I have the couch and the loveseat to match.. I’ve called corporate. I’ve called so many people. They just not taken care of the situation.

    I feel like I’m getting secondhand recliner… they’ve sent technician to technician. Said there’s nothing that can be done. The other one tried to make me believe that he fixed the problem but he didn’t.. so now I am stuck with a recliner that makes a knocking noise when you rock.. Very disappointed in this company, the quality of the furniture is just not there. I should’ve gone to Havertys.

    Second dining set this year and both have had chair problems. Now they say they don't have a refund policy. First set I never got parts to correct this problem (broken feet parts.) Second set (arrived yesterday 12/16/23) and one chair has no leveling threaded insert in the base. I requested a refund and they claim they have no return policy. Same type issue with in a year twice and when resolved I'm done with Rooms to Go.

    I placed an order over the phone. Sale person never disclose about the return policy. Corporate customer service representative was very rude and hostile. She said in company policy, sale person do not have to disclose anything and it’s up to customers to be responsible whether you read the very fine print on the receipt after the purchase. We have never received the item but now they are keeping the 20% of the item price. They threaten you with their “legal team” to scare you away so you would give in. I would avoid this store 100%.

    We purchased a couch less than two years ago, the first week we had to have someone come out and fix the stitching. I recently had another sticking issue and the leather on the entire section looks odd. Since it’s been over a year they said I needed to use my warranty. I learned from the warranty that not only is the leather not covered but the stitching is not either. They said this is regular wear and tear- after less than two years?? Poor product, poor warranty. Never buy from Rooms to Go.

    My husband and myself purchased a bed and adjustable frame in Aug 2023. We waited almost 4 days for delivery. Once received we realized that it was the wrong frame and reached out to the store. They weren't helpful and told us that we needed to wait for our sales person to come back from his days off and had to wait an additional days. I contacted him as I didn't receive a call and he verified that they put the wrong frame in the system and that they would correct this. I waited more days for the delivery everything at this time was ok.

    About a month later the frame was making noises and I again called the store. They told me it was a warranty issue and I needed to call them. I sat on hold for over 10 hours called 4 different warranty companies who told me they don't handle this frame. I again called the store and asked for a manager again and Cindy who was helpful said that that shouldn't have happened and she would need to get approval and she would sent another one. On delivery this frame had a hole and the frame they took back. All the legs were lost and it was documented. I again reach out to Cindy and she scheduled yet another frame to be shipped. On this delivery all the legs were loose on the hold frame and the new one was installed.

    After about two week this frame started to make noise again. I again reached out and they told me Cindy was off. I asked for another manager so that I can document this and he told me that I should wait for Cindy to return the next day. I called and left a message on a Sat to learn she was on vacation and I needed to wait till she return on Tuesday. I was inform once I was in contact with Cindy that the previous manager noted I refused service. That is not the case As I was told that since I was dealing with her it best I wait. Cindy let me know service would need to be called out to see if anything could be done. I informed her this was fine but to look into if they had a comparable to the frame I had as this seem to be an issue with the design and making of the frame I had.

    To date no one has called me back other than service who said they don't service this and a new one will need to be sent. I have since reach out to corp on my own accord as they never did.. They said that they would credit the amount paid and I would need to pay for the better version of the first model that I bought but that is not what I ordered. At this time I want a credit in full for both the frame and the mattress as when spend over 4k on both I rather go to a different company who cares what their customers are going through and the customer care when a issues arises will look at the matter and address it accordingly.

    They are just interested in making a sale. Not interested if they can actually deliver. Went in 15th November. Delivery came 8th December. The 98" sofa we ordered is delivered assembled and can't fit in the elevator, despite it being a decent-sized elevator. So no sofa. On calling the store, we are told it's our fault that we didn't know it was delivered assembled. The salesman knew we live on the 6th floor. The delivery staff aren't allowed to use the stairs past the 3rd floor.... Now waiting for a refund, and then will start looking for a sofa from a company that can deliver what they sell. Until then, sitting on the floor continues. Merry Christmas....

    This is hands down the worse customer experience ever. We bought a beautiful table and the extended warranty. We made multiple claims due to chips. Their “fix” was a furniture marker I could’ve bought at Dollar Tree but we dealt with it. Then when my husband made another claim we were told the table is discontinued and a credit for the furniture will be applied.

    When we tried to find a replacement the selection is crap and I asked for a some more time past the 30 days and was given an extra 2 weeks. Tonight we made our way to the showroom and actually found a table and Buffett table as well. We were told our extended warranty will not be transferred to the new table, AND forced to purchase an NEW warranty. Plus a delivery fee of over $100 (we paid $49.99) because a door drop is not available for this order. This has been nothing but a nightmare and I plan to never use this company again. I left the showroom feeling as though nobody cared, offered any advice on who to speak to about this situation further. Now I’m stuck with a table that is falling apart and a warranty that is useless PLUS forced to pay for another warranty. Our Christmas is ruined thanks this company, I can’t have my family over for dinner with the crappy table and refuse to be forced to buy a new warranty.. Please do something!!!

    We purchased our sectional leather couch in September 2021, we also purchased an extended warranty. We are having to use the warranty cause our couch started to separate at the foot of the recliner. How this happened, we have no clue. So, I initiated this claim on Nov 3 2023 and the first technician never turned in his report so we had to have another technician come out and on Nov 28, 2023 because I called for 3 weeks trying to get an update. Now, here it is Dec 6 2023 and 4repair is denying our claim cause they are saying they do not cover separation from the seam. I should not be denied for something that I am paying extra. Rooms to Go needs to fix my furniture and refund my money for a warranty that I can not use. I will never purchase another piece of furniture from Rooms to go nor will I buy a warranty from 4repair either.

    I purchased some Furniture and when time to deliver it, they had given it to someone else. Yes I had paid for it, was told I have to wait until Jan.18. 2024 until they get it in.     We purchased a sectional in Jan 22. Needed a repair June 23. Parts ordered July 23. Never heard back from the company. In Dec 23 I called for another update and they Indicated the parts not available so we have to get a reselect. It has to be of same value or more (we pay difference), plus we have to pay delivery again and taxes and any new extended warranty. This is how they get you. They won’t refund your extended warranty, you can’t buy a less expensive sofa. So buying the extended warranty on a defective sofa means we will have to spend yet another $1000 to get a sofa that lasts more than 18 months.

    I requested a call back from the manager yesterday- never got one. Please don’t purchase from them- shop local and not a franchise brand in it only for the money. All I asked was to get the extended warranty refunded. I refuse to go spend another cent with them. They are an example of heartless big corp out to crush the small businesses.

    Update, way past due. I was finally contacted by a professional, competent manager, who immediately contacted the drivers involved. He called me back after speaking with them about the situation. Turns out, it was a complete misunderstanding.

    The two gentleman thought I had told them they could have dolly. I do understand how they could have misunderstood our conversation. Unfortunately, they had no idea what happened to the dolly, and the manager told them they would need to replace the dolly. I told them not to worry about replacing it, because it wasn’t the fact that the dolly was taken. It was the fact that initially, I couldn’t get anyone to take the matter seriously. I’m completely happy with this outcome and how it was handled, eventually.

    I wish I’d done some research before I bought from Rooms To Go. My issue was with delivery. I was notified that delivery time would be between 3pm and 7pm. They showed up at four minutes after midnight. No biggie. Two young men had a long day and I understood. I helped them bring the furniture into my house, set it up and with clean up. I offered them a four wheel furniture dolly to help with moving, because my dolly was larger and easier to use. I used my two wheel dolly. When they left, after I tipped both of them,(said that was the only tip they had gotten that day), they loaded my dolly in their truck, and took it with them. I figured it was an accident. They were probably in a hurry to get home.

    When I called “customer care”, they said they would check on it. 10 minutes later they called back and said they did not take it. I explained I had five security cameras in and around my home that said different. So she said she would send another email to the delivery supervisor and get back. It’s been 3 weeks and I’m getting the feeling they are just gonna ignore me. Now, the dolly isn’t expensive, but it’s very useful to me and my family, not to mention, my grandfather made it, so there’s sentimental value. Just disappointing. I won’t buy from them again. I do like my furniture, so far. My salesperson was very pleasant and helpful.

    We bought full bedroom and kids' rooms, close to 7k total. Most items were fine and ok. Chest was badly broken. They quickly approved replacement. King mattress for $795 is a disaster, it sinks and hurts our back. Rooms technician measured and confirmed. It turns out few customers are upset with mattress purchases. Read reviews. Do not try to return, you will go through hell. Phone drops, nobody picks up. Rooms does not refund. They may offer exchange or reselect. Either option is unacceptable because you will get another low quality mattress.     We purchased a TempurPedic Mattress and Adjustable Base from Rooms to Go Town Center Jacksonville, Florida. We also paid $220 for Delivery & Setup. 2 delivery men came out 9-1-23. They said base would work ok on the slats on bed or would work on the 4 base legs wrapped in plastic. They put the base on the slats. Later same day, we told Customer Service about stitching on a pillow we purchased and about a 3 to 4 inch spacing between mattress & headboard. When we asked delivery men if that was the way it should be and they said yes. We conveyed that to customer service and they said nothing to indicate that was a problem.

    Over the next several days, the spacing increased to about 8 inches between mattress & headboard. Pillows often fall to floor. We called Customer Service & the earliest that a tech could be sent to correct problem was 11-14-23. Appointment set for that date. No one came out and about 1 p.m. we called Customer Service & the reason given by Supervisor Aaron ** was "There is no tech in our area." No further solution was offered. He requested that we send photos. We did so and have no further response 10 days later. Problem could be easily solved by putting on the 4 legs for the base that were left here in plastic. I will never purchase anything from Rooms To Go ever again.

    From the day of my order I asked to cancel an order, and the girl from Customer Services canceled only one item, and she did not cancel the other 2, because according to her she could not. I spoke to a girl on the phone from customer services and she told me to send another email, (I told them about 16 emails that day) and she tells me that if they don't respond to my email that I should call them on Monday, that's what I just did and they don't want to help, they don't care about the customer or customer satisfaction. They are fake, they don't care about anything, they don't help. Be careful when purchasing from rooms to go, they will not help in case something happens to an item.

    Tip for consumers: Return of the article, I already sent 20 emails, now I'm going to send 2 more, total 22. I wanted to talk to a supervisor and they didn't put him on the phone.     We bought living room sofa, kitchen chairs and cocktail table. The store provided us with delivery date of November 7 but didn’t deliver and when I called they told me that they changed my delivery to December 7 without notifying me. I had to cancel my order because I could not wait that long as I disposed of my old furniture. They advised me that they can only refund 80% of my payment because of salesman commission and their policy and were rude and unhelpful. I will never buy from this store again.     First, Gabriella at the Durham store helpdesk is absolutely rude and nasty; has been my experience on different encounters. My main dissatisfaction is with the manufacturers who did a lazy job with some parts of the furniture. The ottoman doesn't have a case that comes off to be washed. The throw pillows don't have the fillers sealed off from the cover which means you can't watch the covers without dumping out the fillers and thus ruining the pillow. Delivery service was questionable as there was no clear communication on what time exactly my furniture would arrive which caused a lot of misunderstanding. Gabriella blamed me for not being available for delivery even though I called the store 2 days prior to find out time of delivery and no one could provide that information. The guys who delivered and set up the furniture did a good job.

    I have written two reviews in the 30 years of my existence. This will be the second. Rooms to Go customer service is an absolute joke. I recently moved into my first home and while I was moving in the bed frame I purchased from RTG in 2021, I misplaced one of the rail hooks. I called customer service and they told me to fill out and mail a “part order form” and send a money order for $24, and the part would be mailed to me.* It’s been three months and not only have I not received the part, but I’ve called them over 10 times trying to get updates.

    First, they sent the part to the wrong address. The part was sent back to the warehouse and the customer service team never can get a hold of them. I’ve talked to about 10 representatives and they all act like they are trying to help, but it’s all just an act. During this 3 months, most of them said they would email me an update from the warehouse and I’ve gotten zero emails/updates. Let me repeat… Each representative told me the same lie. They are trained to keep you calm, not to help you.

    As far as I’m concerned, the part order process is a scam because they took my money and have yet to provide what I paid for. Losing small parts can happen to anyone. I recommend that whoever reads this chooses a furniture company that assists their customers even after they spend thousands of dollars on a bedroom set, because with R2G, you’re one small part from having a bed frame that is completely unusable. **Also I want to note that if I could, I would just buy the part from a third party. However, the part I need is a specialized R2G part that I can’t get anywhere else. I am stuck until R2G actually does sends me the part that I paid for.

    April 2023 I purchased a mattress and mattress protector from Deborah ** Rooms to Go. We were told the mattress protector would eliminate any accident that could seep into the mattress giving us a 10-year warranty. In Oct 2023 that accident happened and the urine poured right through the 'Bedgear mattress protector' soaking our mattress. Rooms to Go wants to send Bedgear - Gm warranty with a new mattress protector and have Bedgear wash our new mattress. Bedgear says they will only supply 2 new mattress protectors and wash a mattress 1 time in 10 years. Their claims department admitted to me they have many claims on their mattress protector. They know it leaks. Mark ** manager knows this and 'Lets the buyer beware'. I've complained to Fed Trade Commission and the Texas Attorney General Office over this deceptive product sale. Beware you buy from them, they don't tell the truth.

    I was on the fence about what type of patio furniture I wanted. I shopped around and just kept coming back to Rooms To Go for two reasons, the attention by the sales associate and quality of product. I am very careful when it comes to larger purchases and do my due diligence. The reason for my review is to give huge props to Larry Watt at the Clearwater location. It took three trips to the store to decide and each time Larry was there to provide me with his thoughts and expertise in the patio furniture business. Larry stayed late on the first two visits, which resulted in me not purchasing anything.

    Once I purchased my furniture Larry told me he would follow up with me and let me know if the item went on sale prior to delivery. I figured this was a song and dance comment, but to my surprise he called a couple weeks later and informed me my purchase sectional went on sale and was $400 cheaper. He applied this to my account. I can't say how happy I was to work with Larry and appreciate his attention to detail. Thanks Larry!!

    Bought an $800 deluxe recliner. Loved it for TWO years. One of the motors died and Rooms To Go refused to send their service dept out to even look at it because I had it went beyond its one year warranty. I was unable to break through their corporate gatekeepers in customer service as well. Two other repair companies were unable to find parts for the recliner when I turned to them. I am appalled Rooms To Go does not stand behind their products. Their $800 decision to ignore a customer cost them thousands more in future sales.

    Bought a sectional with 3 recliners delivered August 2022 (about $4000). Within a year 3 pieces of the sectional the fabric is already worn and the corner part is the worst but never gets sit on. The sectional has not been used hardly at all except 1 piece of the sectional and that’s where hubby sits after he comes home from work for about an hour but puts a towel down on seat so he doesn’t get it dirty lol. The recliner beside of his seat has been sit in maybe 10 times and the corner piece is never sit on yet it’s the worst one. Customer service acts like they could care less but without us as customers there would be no Rooms To Go. Word of mouth works wonders. I’ll never shop here again.

    Please don't buy anything from Rooms To Go. I'm begging you. I'm promising you you will have a hard time. You will regret your purchase. It's been more than a year, I'm still struggling with my products I purchase. First of all in order to support the customer with the ticketing system they do not have any adequate facility you need to remember your order or call Rooms To Go customer service and they will let you know what happened to the ticket. If you do not follow they will not call you back. You have to keep them calling and and take the status. You cannot go online and check what's going on with your ticket. If you don't they will close your ticket with some random comment and you will never come to know.

    Imagine you purchase a product with the fabric quality of lifetime warranty and you start seeing the fabric bubbles soon after purchase and then you have to call 10 times to Rooms To Go. Their people will visit to your house, go back to the company and close the ticket and then you might be waiting for the response from the rooms to go and after few months you realize there is no response and you call them back and you will be surprised with the customer service that ticket was closed with the comment the problem has resolved. Then you will again ask them, to open another ticket and again process will restart. This time the guy will visit again and this time you will be making sure you're following on the ticket and they will take their endless time to make a final call.

    I literally had to escalate my case because it was rejected multiple time and upload the video of the condition of the product and then they realize there's something wrong and then they came with the comment we cannot return it back. Only option you have is to get the credit and purchase the new product within a certain time frame. They don't understand I'm already frustrated and pissed off and I don't want it to do any business with you guys but you are stuck here. Your money is stuck here and you have no option to purchase another product 2) and I had to purchase a new product adding more money to it because I was not getting the something similar in the same budget which which added additionally couple of thousand bugs to my pocket. Interesting right.

    3) Now coming to the ottoman. When I purchase the ottoman I bought the protection plan. The daughter went to start showing the wear and tear soon after purchase when it was under the warranty. A guy visited to my house, put the glue on the wood and said it won't be having a problem anymore and you know what? It does show the same issue within a couple of month. Now I was out of warranty so my purse protection plan came into the picture. I raised the claim with the certain company which worked with the rooms to go and eventually after following up with the same pattern calling them up for many time. The gentleman told me, "We have forwarded your ticket back to Rooms To Go. Please call them."

    And when I asked, "Why should I call to Rooms To Go if I purchase the insurance with you guys?" They said, "You know that's how we work" and I had no option then. Call to the Rooms to Go customer service. They again open the ticket. Again a guy visited to my house with the promise within a 48 Hours somebody will call from Rooms To Go on the status which never happened.

    As I already learned from the previous tickets rather than waiting for Rooms To Go I called them and they said, "We have responded to the claim company and waiting for their reply." And still I am calling. I think I call three times already. It's been a month and they're still waiting for the respond so how nicely they are protecting their customer providing the services for their product? You can imagine the experience. Somebody need to tell the rooms to go more than a product the experience it stays for long. If you ruin this experience of a customer then he will never come back.

    I am a 71-year-old senior citizen and I am deeply disturbed by the poor quality of furniture, and the complete lack of support I received from Rooms to Go (Plano, Tx) when facing issues with my purchases. Customer support is sorely non-existent. 14 months ago, I purchased a sectional couch and the 3-year extended warranty from Fortegra for defects in workmanship. The couch is sinking on 4 out of 6 pillows. I have back issues and when I sit on the couch it sinks to the floor. I’ve had 2 of the service techs come and look at the couch. They both had to repair the ottoman under one of the extended pillows. They then reported to Rooms to Go that the damage to the pillows is normal wear and tear. There are 2 adults with normal weight sitting on the couch. There is no way the couch should be sinking now.

    It is obvious that the quality of this couch is substandard. When I called customer service, they suggested that I personally replace the foam in the pillows. They refuse to honor the 3-year warranty that they sold me. I will be paying for this couch for 2 more years. It is costing me approximately $2700 for furniture that is unhealthy and unusable. I am on a limited income (Social Security). I cannot keep buying couches, The treatment I am receiving from Rooms to Go Customer Service is appalling. They are giving me the runaround treatment. The furniture is cheaply made w FRAUD at point-of-sale w false promises that everything was covered with the 3-year warranty. I am disappointed and disgusted and would not recommend anyone to do business with them. There are plenty of other reputable companies out there. Rooms to Go is not one of them.

    Bought a living room suite in July of 2022. I didn’t realize I had a one-year warranty on the sofas. I don’t like the sofas personally but happy wife happy life. The one time I set on the sofas it made a popping noise when I got up. I called customer service and they said, "SORRY, we can’t do anything for you." I’d understand if someone sat in that same spot every day for a year, that would be considered wear and tear. But it’s just me and my wife. I think RTG COULD DO SOMETHING. Consumers beware of your warranty when you buy furniture from RTG.

    Was buying dining room set from Rooms to Go. That I liked it and supposed to have a bench with it and when I got it it was no bench. It was two extra chairs and one of them so happened to be broke on the truck so they told me that they would have to bring it back. You know that they're broken chair and be and replace that chair that was broken a little to me to be known. They left the broken chair at the edge of the driveway by the trash and no one told us that we supposed to save that trash when they bring it broke.

    So what ended up happening is that when they bought the replacement chair to replace the chair that they broke not us they broke they decided they wasn't going to give it to us because they could not find a broken chair. We had no idea where the broken chair. I believe it probably was taken by the trashmen but it was not my job to watch it because I didn't break it and I didn't bring it there and it was not mine. It was still because it wasn't delivered to me so at the same time.

    They started charging me after I returned the furniture. They want to charge me for this chair and the whole dinette set itself was like I believe 900 and they want 300 dollars from me for a chair that they would never get .they will never get that from me so my thing is is that when your delivery drivers break your items then you should make that on that responsibility. You don't leave broken stuff on people property. You don't bring broken stuff to people property and you definitely don't try to charge nobody for broken property.

    Now my thing is is that this is what they're trying to do to me and it's going to be an ongoing fight coz I ain't giving up and I know the law and I know that they cannot charge me for items that was that was brought to my door broken and that automatically should have Dishonored that the contract right then and there because how you going to have a contract when you didn't deliver everything that you supposed to deliver. So when they did that I told him pick up the other ones, pick up the rest coz I didn't get what I asked for in the first place. So I went to another company and bought the same furniture for the same price and didn't have no problem with the delivery and here I all of a sudden a month or two later I get a letter from rooms to Go trying to charge me for this chair that the driver and other passenger broke and they try to put it on me.

    I'm not paying for something that you broke that's y'all stuff on me. My day is don't order nothing from online from rooms to Go because you can't trust them with how they put stuff back in the computer. They're going to try to blame you for something that they did that you would think being the first time buy you that they would treat you a little bit better than that and treat you like yourself like you're the customer when you're trying to get an order from. Now I've never had nobody try to get over on me with that fraud trying to make me pay for something that I had nothing to do with the outcome of broken chair house and it didn't get delivered inside my house. They took it off the truck while they was bringing in the other stuff and left it right there.

    It was not my responsibility did go and bother with it and I wasn't going to do that so if the trash people took it that's on them and if they said to me after the fact, "Oh yeah you're supposed to keep the broken stuff so we can replace the good one with it." why would I want to keep a broken chair? Why did they not tell us that this chair was broken in the first place for us the out there on the ground? Why would we be responsible for that? I don't understand that. Anyway they should have took it back and locked it in the book and and took care of that. Still trying to make me the victim pay. Them losing their money for the broken chair that they broke is they issues stop trying to blame and charged me for something out of my control. With that stop harassing me, calling me, email and texts. Am but to file a law suit. Am being harassed and it's gonna have to stop

    Very bad customer support. The product is good as long as there is no issue. If it goes out of warranty, then don't expect them to do anything about it. I bought a bed from them 2 years back and it wasn't assembled properly due to which one of the side rails broke off. The bed was hardly used at all since this was for our guest bedroom. When I contacted customer support, they told the product was discontinued and they can't do anything about it.

    I have made the worst mistake purchasing a sofa sleeper sectional from Rooms To Go. The arrival was long (3 months) and split delivery. They send one out of the 2 pieces sofa incorrect. Store manager Amy was unhelpful and rude. Only solution was given to pay $200 difference due to the price of the correct sofa piece. I feel like it's not my fault that the order number was placed incorrect and it's not fair when I paid the whole amount of thousands of dollars the same day of purchase. NO RETURN POLICY!!! So now I have to sit down too uneven color and unfinished sofa sectional. Makes me upset every time I look at it. I will never purchase or recommend from Rooms to Go!!!

    I ordered a queen bed online. I used the messager for the purchase for the first time thinking it would be easier to communicate exactly when I needed it delivered. NOPE... WITHOUT NOTICE, they changed the date. My husband ask me what time was the bed being delivered and Luckily I looked at my order and noticed the date change from Friday to NEXT TUESDAY. BTW all this happened yesterday THURSDAY the day before the bed was to be delivered. I immediately called and was given the runaround. After finally getting someone who could ACTUALLY help me, I had to drive almost 2 hours in traffic to go pickup my own order.

    I got to the distribution center in Katy Tx and they told me that it would be an hour before they could even pull my order... By now I'm fuming, pissed, tired, etc. Once they got it pulled I backed my truck up to the stall and continued to wait. When they were ready to load me up, the warehouse employee handed me a clipboard and told me to initial and sign the paperwork. I asked him which box was what and where was the hardware? He just looked at me and said It SHOULD be in one of the boxes...OH NAW... I wanted to see the bed AND hardware before I left. So I opened all the boxes in front of him and everything was complete. I did box everything back up, we loaded it on my truck and then I signed for my purchase. This is now the second and last time I will be buy or suggesting to other to buy anything from RTG.

    I will never buy furniture from this store again. We bought our couch in April 2022 and was given a leather cleaner that cleans the couch. The leather cleaner does not actually clean the couch at all. It just changes its color. We have kids that put ink on our couch and a broken reclining button that will not allow one part of this couch to go up and down. We tried to file a claim that we make monthly payments on since December 2022. They were unable to find the couch anywhere in the system where we purchased this couch. They tell us if we can’t find the couch they can not assist. We brought this couch in the store which is even more frustrating. We filed a credit dispute so we can end payments on a couch that is unaccounted for. It took 4 months for them to find the couch once our credit card company tried to remove it from us having to make payments. They put this couch under my husband's middle name that was spelled incorrectly.

    We purchased warranty on this couch plus the extra insurance! They told us we are able to switch couch out depending on damage or get a credit for the couch if we would like them to instead of fixing it. Whether that was true or not that’s was what was advertised to us when we purchased this couch. They have a third party come out to look at couch finally September 2023! They Order a new couch piece to fix recliner and a whole new seat that has ink on it and then they came out today to fix it and Rooms to go once again screwed us over and sent the wrong couch replacement for the wrong couch!

    Now we have to start this process over. NEVER BUY FROM THIS PLACE. They are unapologetic and the service they use which is a vendor and then their own people to fix is the worst. I work with high scale executives and will be giving them my review on this couch and they will be losing a lot of business. This place is horrific and low scale on assistance.

    I bought a TV console at RTG. When I bought it I was told that delivery was free, but if I wanted it assembled that I had to pay $80. I paid the $80 because I do not know how to assemble furniture. When the console arrived it was completely assembled and was taken out of the box that way. The salesman Zachary ** lied to me. I called the manager to get a refund of my $80; and he was totally on the side of the salesman, and would not give me my money back. He even hung up on me claiming I had interrupted him, when he interrupted me on the phone. ZACHERY ** IS A LIAR. I would give zero stars if I could. They will rip you off; do not go there.     Purchased a bedroom set and RTG 3100 adjustable bed almost a year ago. When we first got the set, the adjustable base worked as expected. Only a couple of months after our purchase, the adjustable bed stopped working. We contacted RTG and went through the maze of service calls and finally reached the manufacturer. They sent us a new remote that never arrived. After waiting for two months we contacted them again. They sent a new remote. It arrived and does not work. There is no documentation or instructions as to how to pair and use the remote. We then contacted RTG again. They told us they do not deal with the adjustable unit, despite the fact that it was purchased through them. They sent us to Guardia, the company that insures the unit. They then sent us to the manufacturer. To date the unit still does not work.

    The delivery of my sectional was a disaster, they pulled the electric line down from our neighbor's house, and in the process also took out the corner, including the facing and siding from the home. Also the electric meter and electric powered. Apparently they are sub-contracted so we never heard from anyone. This cost 3K to fix and 5 days without power for the neighbors who had a new baby. Lost all the food in their refrigerator and freezer. And we never even got an acknowledgment from the delivery people, whoever they might be.

    This is the second terrible experience I have had with RTG. On the most recent experience I called out service techs for the third time to try to remove stains from the chaise part of my sofa. The tech used Folex and the stains appear to go away but return. On 9/1 the tech said it is discolored and the stains cannot be removed. He still sprayed it with Folex which must be what discolored it in the first place. He told me he was ordering a casing for the chaise part and it would arrive in a week. As it has not arrived I called and they have to check with extended warranty dept. The sofa is not even 2 years old and hardly used. Rtg has become a non-caring place that thinks they are the only place to buy furniture. I as well as family and friends are done with them but they don't even care.

    If I can rate 0 stars I would. I was referred by a family member to look into rooms to go for furniture. I purchased sofas and my daughter's bed online with the intentions of buying the rest of my furniture once I had settled into my new home. The ordered was place on August 9th and order was received on chosen date as promised. We were very happy with our sofas they are beautiful, but when we tried to put the legs in, the screw holes were much bigger than the screws itself. Customer service was contacted through chat, they said they would send out someone. They were not able to provide me with confirmation. We then realized that our daughter's bed was missing 2 legs and the bolts, it Looks like someone yanked them out of plastic package they were in.

    I contacted customer service. Again pictures were sent to them, again no confirmation that the parts were ordered On their behalf. I had to contact them twice regarding the missing parts. Both through chat and phone. They finally arrived, to much of our disappointment the missing legs were damaged, also they didn't send out the bolts to put them in. Chat option is useless, email was sent out never got a a reply back, customer service leaves you on hold and doesn't know anything. So now I have a bed that my daughter cannot lay on, sofas on the floor with no legs. I am beyond upset with this company and will never order or refer anyone for that matter.

    I purchased a living room set from the Rooms to Go in McDonough GA. They told me they offered zero percent financing which was a selling point. My payment of $44 was due on the 10th of each month. In July I made my payment on the 7th. When my bill came in August I never opened it cause I just paid it online. I was about to throw the bill away when I decided to open it and see how much I had left to pay. I was shocked when I saw the minimum due was $117? I pulled up my account on my bank app and saw I had not missed a payment so I figured it was a mistake on their part.

    When I called Synchrony Bank to explain they had made an error I was shocked at their answer. They claimed that they received my payment on the 11th which is one day late resulting in a $73 late fee. I tried to explain to them that I sent it on the 7th but they did not care. I told them I would be willing to pay $30 for the late fee but I think $73 is a bit excessive for receiving a payment one day late. They told me there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak to a supervisor that had the power to help and I was told no.

    I went to rooms to go and got the same answer. They did give me the phone number to customer service aka no customer service. They just told me they can not tell synchrony bank how to do business. They told me I should call them. I explained to them how they treated me. I would never have heard or dealt with this bank had it not been for rooms to go. I am dealing with these people because of you, so yes you do have a responsibility to your customers to protect us from them. You should have warned me how bad of a company you were sending me to. I wish I had looked at rooms to go Google review score before I dealt with them. I cut up my $9000 credit card from them and will never step foot in another rooms to go ever again. This all could have been avoided if you cared about your customers.

    I Purchased the item about 8 years ago and two years after the purchase it started peeling for no reason. I called them with no luck .. Then covid & the company was closed as it was peeling away.. The worse part was the customer service. His name was Caleb … I sent emails & pictures. They did nothing.     I bought a dining room set along with the 3 year warranty. A couple of months after the warranty ends, the chairs start peeling. It is a dining room, so just used sparingly. Started with one and now it is 3. I contacted customer service and they told me there is nothing they can do and look for a chair repair company. I was hoping they would direct me back to the store and see if we can come to some sort of resolution; I realize the warranty is over and am willing to pay something to get repairs or new chairs, but not full price as the warranty had just ended.     A complete waste of $4000. We have an issue with defective recliner. RTG will not replace it. They claim there is nothing wrong with it. One arm has a bad joint under the skin. It creates pointed corners at the edge of the arm. It looks terrible and this will quickly push through the covering. 5 of 6 arms are smooth and rounded as they should be. But RTG continues claim there is nothing wrong with it. They said they could not do anything with anything until a technician came out to assess. What they really were saying is we're going make you jump through hoops and then do nothing to resolve my complaint.

    The RTG Technician came to our home, looked at the defective recliner, took pictures and agreed that it had a manufacturing issue. He then said Customer Care should help us out. He took pictures. RTG delivered a defective product and in the interest high quality customer service should willingly replace the defective recliner. It's a matter of customer satisfaction.

    The reality is RTG will not replace anything once it is in your house. They even implied that I damaged the chair since I chose to report the defect a week after delivery. RTG has unacceptable "customer service" and no desire to improve it. This is an easily resolvable customer service issue, the recliner is defective. Replace it or refund our money for one chair and then come and get it.

    I purchased the Cindy Crawford Home Bellingham Sofa in October 2022. It looks good in my home, but it is so very uncomfortable. I thought I needed to "break it in" but 10 months later, it is still too uncomfortable for me to enjoy sitting on it. The cushions are not made with high density foam and they do not give when I sit on it. If I could have had access to some reviews prior to making this purchase, I probably would have been able to make a better choice.

    Today I have had it...I have had it with stupid excuses from people who don’t know the meaning of their job. Does anyone know what Customer Service means any more….? Obviously some of those in that position at Rooms to Go do not. Here’s the story...my husband and I went to pick out our third couch from R2G. We were extremely happy with the last 2 and decided it was time to pass them on to family members who could make use of them and buy a new one. My husband has retired, and I am disabled. We decided to purchase, the model that would provided massage and heat for me and power up and down so I could easily get in and out.

    Then...two weeks in to the purchase, I was stuck in my chair. I tried and tried, but could not get my chair to come down. My husband's side was working fine. He suggested I might not be using the remote correctly...I’m 72 and know how to use a remote...but I finally got it to work, so thought it might be a fluke. I scheduled a service visit that couldn’t be made for a couple weeks.

    Then the massage unit quit in the middle of a cycle leaving me with a huge bubble pushing me in the spine. Again, it failed to come down. I waited and tried every button, finally it came down. I informed my husband that was it. There is no excuse for a brand new EXPENSIVE, piece of furniture to trap me in it….what would I do if it happened and he wasn’t there. That’s exactly what happened next. I WAS TRAPPED IN MY OWN CHAIR for over a half an hour with no one to help. I was on the verge of calling 911, when it finally decided to let me down.

    I called R2G again and spoke to Jonathan explaining what had taken place. I told him there was NO WAY I wanted to keep this piece of furniture. No I was actually afraid for my safety in this piece of furniture. I was told that he needed to speak to his supervisor. After a length of time, it was told to me that I had been approved for a RESELECTION. Ok, that's fine, I will reselect a piece of furniture that doesn’t have a mind of its own. He informed me the tech would still have to come out to insure that the furniture was undamaged.

    This was done. Of course, its not damaged, it’s brand new. We thought we had explained completely the situation to the tech. He said that the paperwork would be in the office by morning. We decided to give them a few days before going in for our RESELECTION. I called to speak to Customer Service just to make sure everything would go without a hitch when we went in to the store…..OH MY….

    I spoke to Stephanie, who informed me that non of this was recorded and nowhere did it say we had been approved for a RESELECTION. I told her who we had spoken to, what we had been told. She proceeded to put her supervisor on the phone. THEN THINGS REALLY WENT SOUTH. I don’t have any idea where this woman trained for CUSTOMER SERVICE, but I doubt she can even spell it. She was rude and abrasive and spoke right over me as I was trying to explain my situation. I understand if she has NO POWER, but she sure didn’t act like it. What an abrasive, horrible supervisor for a department where people already are upset.

    So tomorrow, I am perfectly happy to go in to the store and if we are treated the same way in person, take this to the Better Business Bureau. You can return a car that’s a lemon, but you are stuck with an expensive piece of garbage furniture… She claimed that there was NO manufacturer's defect so we are stuck with this. Well, I will tell you what I don’t know what kind of defect you want to call this, but I call this a defect. If I were to get stuck in this chair again, I will call 911 and let you pay the bill. You need to do the right thing and exchange this couch for one that makes a long time customer happy.

    I purchased an extended warranty for structural and pet stains… After 3 months they declined my claim for fraying which was not my complaint… My warranty is for 3 years which clearly states my issues! I disputed on July 13th of which I didn’t hear from them… Tried to resolve but ultimately I had to purchase the end chair of the modular unit as they would do nothing for me! The absolute worse customer service ever! I paid $300 for the warranty fraud at its finest! Class action? Possibility!

    I purchased a trundle for my son's room and within a month it broke. I had Rooms To Go come out. The rep took pictures and stated the bed was broken and can't be fixed. I asked if he was taking it and he said no he put everything in the report. I removed the broken bed, threw it in the trash. Apparently I can't get a refund because there is nothing to return. My understanding from the rep from rooms to go, who came to my house, was to trash it since he told me he was not taking it. Now I'm stuck paying for furniture, that the quality did not stand up to standards that I thought rooms to go had, and have nothing! Also, store rep was rude, no customer service skills at all. I'm so disappointed and will never make another purchase at their store and will make sure my family never spends a dime on poor quality furniture.

    All I did was purchase a recliner for 997.00 with a credit limit of 1,000..After making months of payments and reducing my balance to 364.00 RTG decides to lower my credit limit to 470.00 and then report I'm utilizing 95.6 % usage of the card; which reports negative on your credit report. They NEVER reported my balance decrease when the limit was 1,000 and I made payments to get it to 364.00. UNFAIR is an understatement. It is all a system to keep you in a bind and I will NEVER do business with them again or apply for any more cards from Synchrony Bank! It is VERY clear that multiple cards under Synchrony only allows them to PRE-JUDGE your financial stability!

    I ordered a couch from Rooms to Go. Not only was I lied to by the salesperson, but was tried to be extorted by the delivery guys. After they tried to get me to give them cash to move the couch into my living room, they got upset that I wasn’t willing to pay them extra money (on top of the delivery fee) they proceeded to literally slam the furniture down. They wouldn’t let me unwrap it in their presence and sure enough it’s ripped. I contacted the store manager, David **, he told me to come in and pick out a new couch being that I told him it was very uncomfortable. I went to the store 3 times to pick something different out. My fiancé and I were told we had “10 minutes” to pick out something else. That was from the other manager, Ryan. Absolutely absurd! I did however pick out a different couch. Now he told us we needed to spend at least the same amount or more..

    To end the nightmare I picked out 4 chairs I didn’t need. Thought it was over. When I got home realized he snuck in a 2nd delivery charge, but this time for $199.98. Very unnerving that everyone in this company seems to want more and more money. I disputed the $199.98 with my bank and had the charge reversed. The other couch was supposed to be delivered today. I called and was told it isn’t coming because I’m not willing to pay them another nearly $200. Now I have a damaged couch that I can’t use. This is extremely unprofessional and shouldn’t be allowed or legal.

    First, if I could give this rating zero stars I would. Their customer service was absolutely atrocious. We ordered a kid's table and chairs set on 26 May 2023, understanding that there was a month delay (arrival date 24 June 2023). Two days prior to delivery, we were notified that we would receive the table and only ONE chair. Obviously outraged, I called to inquire as to why we were receiving only a partial order. With absolutely no sympathy, I was informed that this is a popular product and that the best they could do was to deliver the rest of the chairs three weeks later. Keep in mind the one chair that arrived came in no packaging, full of chips and nicks all over it. The date scheduled for the following delivery was in the middle of a work week, when this dawned on me, I called and asked if this could be delivered without the requirement for a signature as my wife and I both work during the week.

    I was told that there was absolutely no way that they could deliver this without a signature and that if we could not be there at the time of delivery that the next available time for delivery would not be for another month. Once again outraged, I asked, why is it that we are being inconvenienced because Rooms to Go failed to deliver our full product at the scheduled time of delivery on the first order and now will not compromise during the secondary delivery? Completely unsympathetic, they stated that it is a liability and that this is their policy and they will not budge on this policy. My wife and I then began to scramble to find somebody to be present for the time and date of delivery which we were told would be between noon and 4 PM on 11 July.

    However, on the day of delivery while I was already at work and unable to have my cell phone within the office space, I received a text message notification that the delivery would arrive at 11 AM vice 12 PM. Needless to say my neighbor, who agreed to be here during the scheduled timeframe, missed the delivery. Once I was on my lunch break and realize this, I called immediately to try and rectify this problem but the delivery driver refused to return to my home.

    Rooms to go would not offer any form of expedited delivery of chairs to accommodate this inconvenience and said that we would need to call back the next day to schedule a follow on delivery at their next convenience. That date is 18 Aug, almost three months to the day of our original order date! Bottom line, I will never order a single piece of furniture from this company ever again and I advise anybody else to avoid from ever ordering anything from rooms to go if they can find a similar product elsewhere! It has been an absolute NIGHTMARE!

    I purchased the couch 1.23.2021. There is a opening that appeared in the fabric on the seat cushion. My original claim was denied however I would like to have it reconsidered. I have tried to contact you all by phone without any results. My couch is in great condition other than this one area. I feel like the fabric had a weak spot in it since the couch is practically new. I think the fabric is defective and I believe this defect should be covered. I have purchased my furniture from RTG for 20 years in three states.

    I chose RTG for the quality of furniture & I'm very disappointed that I cannot receive any assistance with this problem. I spent over $2000 along with the Guard It Protection Plan on this couch and I do not want to discard it. I would truly appreciate some assistance in repairing or replacing this defective cushion. Although I purchased additional warranty, Guardian (insurance) & rooms to go both declined my claim. Don't purchase warranty as they will not honor your claim.

    Let’s start at the beginning. My husband and I went to the show room in Kennesaw Georgia to look for a mattress and a bedroom suite. We found a bedroom suite I liked. The one that was on the showroom floor really looked nice so we bought it and scheduled a delivery for three weeks out. We were told that the nightstand was unavailable and would have to be brought out on another delivery. Our first delivery on a Saturday was from 12 to 4. The delivery came within that window. However, according to the salesman, we would receive a notification when the delivery team was on their way. We did not get it. We were also told we could track our delivery. That didn’t work either.

    When they arrived and unpacked the furniture they brought the bedroom suite in and set up the bed first. We then found where the headboard was damaged and the paint the paint job on the headboard very sloppy. There were also scratches and chips. The dresser was broken. The guy that delivered took pictures and called and arranged for the pieces to be replaced. Our second Saturday sitting at home again we received no notification of the delivery on its way and when the drivers arrived, and began to unload, again the headboard was damaged and so was the dresser. We did, however get our nightstand and it was not damaged. So now we go for the third delivery. So now we go for the third delivery. This time all was delivered in pretty good shape. The hardest part about all of this was the poor customer service we received.

    We asked to not be the last delivery of the day like we had been the previous two times, and we were told there was nothing that could be done about that. When I spoke to the manager of the store he not only told me that I could not return anything but he also made the statement that he had no control over any of the deliveries and could not help me. Finally he did decide to email the delivery company asking them to try to deliver earlier rather than later. So basically what is happening is they have contracted with a moving company to deliver their products and as a company they have no control over the quality control part of it. I’m telling you now don’t buy anything from this company. Their customers service is terrible. It’s very obvious they care nothing about the customer once the sale is made.

    The online process was very easy, delivery and setup was great. Bought our kids' beds in February 2023, and the beds broke in June 2023. The left side rail on both beds keep falling. My husband went ahead and redrilled the screws back to fix side rails but a few weeks later it happen again. We finally decided to call customer service, and we were told since we kept redrilling the side rails back together there is nothing they would be able to do. We have the 3 year insurance to cover, and it hasn't been a year, but customer service basically told us it's our fault now. It's very disappointing and I feel we have wasted $1200. Not happy at all and will not be buying any other furniture from Rooms to Go!

    I have been a Rooms to Go customer for the last 15 years at least. I have furnished my house and my daughter few times each of us during this period of time. I was at Rooms to Go located at 2121 Okeechobee Blvd on 07/23/2023 and I was assisted by a salesman named Xavier **. I end up purchasing a living room sofa set and dining room set.I only wanted to add extended warranty for one recliner because is an electric recliner and in case something went bad I wanted the extra coverage. I was very clear about that. When I got home and was going over the paperwork I notice he had included extended Warranty on every single piece of furniture including every single dining room chair, table, all of the sofas.

    The next day I went back to the store and the person that took care of me the day before by the name of Xavier ** and I introduce myself and ask him if he remember me from the day before and rudely he answer "NOPE" in a loud tone of voice so I told him that he took care of me the day before with a big sale and that there was a mistake with the warranty because I only wanted that warranty on one recliner and I was very clear about it the day before and right there and then he got even louder and called me a liar. I couldn't believe it and I ask him if he was calling me a liar and again he say yes, that I was a liar and proceeding by getting loud and said, "blah blah blah." I later spoke to the store manager who apologized for the salesman behavior and to be honest I don't need an apology, a person like that should not be allowed to work With customers, his behavior is completely despicable.

    Received completely damaged furniture with stains, chips and pieces missing. They were claiming that my furniture was not damaged that it was the stain, but had proof of chunks of furniture missing and visible scratches. It takes multiple emails after calling to get someone to answer you and the service team is horrible. One woman I spoke to on the phone said she would call me back after receiving the photos of the damage photos. After three days I didn't hear back, had to send another email to follow up and then finally got a call. Then it was a threatening call that they would be switching it out just this once, but it's not damaged so after that they won't switch it out again.

    I was so unhappy with the quality of the furniture and asked for a manager. She informed me that looking at the photos that is was actually damaged. Yeah, no kidding. Then I tried to get her to cancel the redelivery of the existing furniture because the furniture was so light I could push it with one hand. Couldn't get an answer back. I sent 4 emails and then had to call and get it cancelled through the phone and they said they couldn't guarantee a cancellation. The customer service is worse than the product!

    Bought a bed and the bed had no support in the middle. Had to invest 50% more to add support. Nothing was told by the sales rep or mentioned online as well. The basic slates won’t work and needed to buy a box spring. Very poor customer service. The supervisor kept harassing even when explained the whole issue. Dent in the budget very last minute when setting up the room for visitors. Will never recommend. On top of it they again tried selling more things to then fix the issue.

    Scheduled my delivery for 6 weeks out as I own a business and I have to get others to cover me when I am out, and in the middle of summer, it’s near impossible. Sat at home all day, my window was 11-3. At 4:00 I called to check on my delivery. At 1:00 someone (in the company) canceled my delivery and rescheduled it for tomorrow 11-3. Zero notification was sent to me. I only found out because I called them an hour after my window. I have spoken and chatted online with several people. Nobody can tell me why.

    I have an entire day of things scheduled tomorrow, so now, I get to spend another day waiting - and nowhere to sleep tonight as my old bedroom furniture went out the door this morning. Everyone that helped (and I use THAT term loosely as not one person “helped”) had zero answers. Then they had the audacity to tell me they will only wait 15 minutes if I am not home tomorrow. Oh…this company. America runs on small business - not large ones. If I treated my customers this way, I would be out of business. Large companies have zero regard for customer service. Lesson learned, Rooms To Go, lesson learned. I am not looking for a canned “oh that’s terrible” from RTG as I have already spoken to several Customer Service Reps and not one could do anything about it. Consumer, beware.

    When we bought our living room furniture in Oct. 2021 we paid about $320 to cover what the salesman told us was almost any damage due to pets, accidental rips or stains. At the time that sounded wonderful. We have a spot the size of a softball on one cushion that looks like a scrape or something. Called GuardIt, filed the claim and even before seeing it the started telling me what they would not cover. Had me send photos and within one hour sent me a denial on the claim. Word to wise. DO NOT buy this coverage. It is nothing like our salesman told us it was. What a bait and switch job.

    Had furniture delivery from Bham AL Summit store 6-21-23 during which truck ran into post holding keypad to our gate, knocking keypad from post and severing wires. Driver came back, apologized, politely. Contacted by their independent delivery company same day and submitted detailed info for claim the following day, including detailed photos. They said allow 7 business days which has long passed. Efforts to contact them (SE independent delivery svcs) unsuccessful. Customer service from Rooms to Go likewise had no success contacting delivery company and had no further suggestions. We bought from Rooms to Go but they claim no responsibility for their independently contracted delivery company.

    In 2016 we purchased an entire household of furniture. I wanted a leather sofa, specifically leather so it would last and keep clean. We bought a Shiloh Leather sectional sofa. It tearing open and peeling. It’s not leather and I double checked my receipts, says leather. I was charged over $100 additionally for protection services, we got a small bottle of leather cleaner. Was also charged for fabric protection-despite not having any fabric. This place is a total rip off! This sofa is/was hardly used and still it is peeling apart and seams are ripped open. It’s junk.

After that I now somehow have 2 queen size headboards with no bed frame. How is it actually possible to send 2 queen size headboards but no bed frame.     Firstly, the hardware was missing. I went to the "nearby Rooms to go" showroom who blatantly refused to listen anything as it was an internet order. Then I went to the online customer service, they agreed for an exchange but despite me being ready to pay 100 usd extra for setup they refused to accommodate the request. I was put on the call and made to go around in circles for hours on end with no solution in sight. This is my last time with them and would never like to do any business with them.

    I purchased a sectional, the delivery was scheduled for Saturday, June 3, 2023 between 3-7 pm. The tracker informed me that I was stop No. 11. Three pm came, 4pm came, 5pm came, 6pm came, 7pm came, no calls or emails letting me know when I would be receiving my furniture. At 8pm I called Rooms to Go customer care, which closes at 8pm, I called the store where I purchased the furniture, he got in touch with the delivery dispatch, and was told they were at stop 8 and my furniture will be delivered.

    At 11pm I went to bed, and shortly after the delivery truck rolled up to my house. I informed the driver that they will not delivery my furniture at this time of night, he told me they will come back the next day Sunday. The furniture was delivered before 11am Sunday morning. I have called Rooms To Go on two occasions, no one has reached out to me or returned my phone calls. I missed a graduation and the graduation dinner, waiting for this sorry delivery. Rooms To Go has no regard of consumer's time. There are too many furniture stores in Houston that will value my time and respect that my time is valuable. Rooms To Go customer care is a joke.

    Title: Disappointing Quality and Lackluster Customer Service at Rooms To Go. As a longtime and loyal customer of Rooms To Go, I am deeply disheartened by the poor quality of their products and the complete lack of support I received when facing issues with my purchases. Over the years, I have never returned anything and have always trusted their brand for reliable and durable furniture. However, my recent experiences have shattered that trust.

    A few years ago, I invested in a mattress and bedroom set from Rooms To Go. The mattress came with a supposed 10-year warranty, but to my disappointment, it didn't even last 1.5 years before showing signs of significant wear and tear. Recognizing the issue, I went through the process of obtaining a replacement mattress, only to find that it too failed to withstand regular use, lasting less than two years. Both times, I had to bear the burden of delivery fees and taxes, which added insult to injury.

    Beyond the inferior quality of the mattresses, my grievances with Rooms To Go extend to their abysmal customer service. The defective mattress which was supposed to be picked up, they never followed through on their promises. Frustrated and in desperate need of space, I had to resort to asking someone else to take the mattress away, and they graciously did so for free. This entire situation was exacerbated by the fact that I have a sick mother who suffered a stroke and urgently needed the space.

    To add to my woes, I was shocked to discover that Rooms To Go had charged me for both the faulty mattress and the replacement I had purchased. When I called their customer service to explain the ordeal I had endured and the I had waited to have the mattress picked up, I was met with indifference. They promised that a manager would contact me to address the issue, but to my disappointment, no such call ever came. The experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. As a loyal customer who has spent thousands of dollars on Rooms To Go merchandise, I expected better treatment and support. Instead, I received poor-quality products, ignored requests for mattress pick-up, and was unjustly charged for defective items.

    It is disheartening to have my trust in Rooms To Go shattered by their subpar products and lack of customer care. I sincerely hope that they take these criticisms to heart and make the necessary improvements to both the quality of their products and their customer service. Until then, I cannot recommend Rooms To Go to others based on my deeply disappointing experience.

    Buyers please be Aware of the "NO RETURN POLICY" that was not posted anywhere in the store nor was it communicated by the sales associate. I am a shopper that will shop at high end or budget efficient stores as long as the quality and look complete the vision I'm aiming to achieve. I'm decorating my living room, and decided to stop in RTG as I drove by. I have been having a $2500 credit account with them that I had not used. As soon as I entered I immediately noticed 2 printed ottoman that I thought would blend well with the decor in my LR. I did a quick walk around the store and decided to purchase the ottomans.

    No one greeted or assisted me when I initially walked in, so I found a sales associate sitting at a table close to the ottoman and told her I'd like to purchase them. I asked if they had 2 new ones in the back and she went check with the warehouse and came back and said no. I made my purchase and she directed me to the back for pick up. She also told me not to worry if it takes a minute before I get a statement, she assured me that it will come. (That was our interaction... No more no less.)

    When I got home I place both ottoman in my LR and immediately I realized the pattern was clashing with the room but I didn't want to make a hasty decision so for a week I rearranged the room to see if it would blend...It didn't. On the 10th day I went in to return them, tags still attached and the young guy in the office burst out laughing when I explained that I wanted to return them. I didn't get what was so funny. He then said jokingly, "We don't take stuff back." I honestly thought he was joking and very unprofessional, so I asked for a manager because at this point I was very confused.

    The manager who was in the room and overheard the situation spoke to me very bluntly, with no regard to the fact that her associates are not telling people in advance that you can't return, which leaves the customer feeling scammed. She agreed that they may not have told me but still refused to accommodate me even after I asked her to run the tape back. The entire time her and I were having an exchange the young guy continuously laughed as if to mock me. It was truly an unbelievable and horrible situation that I never imagined. Even after making her aware that she needs to train her associates, her attitude and unprofessionalism made me realize that she too needs to be trained.

    I left with my ottomans that they forced me to keep but they can't force me to shop with them again or use the credit that I have with them. They will lose more than they gain with that attitude.     My delivery service was a complete disaster. I paid for a service, which I did not receive. The bed was NOT installed. (See images). The pictures even show that the legs of the adjustable frame are intact and we’re never released. This explain why the mattress and frame rocked from Side to Side. The 2 Spanish speaking guys claimed not to speak or understand English when they were told that the bed was not installed correctly. When I called customer service at 6:38 pm on 6/1/23 to notify them of the situation, the agent, Jessica **, laughed. She went on to tell me a story about a trip to Puerto Rico and that she is Spanish and this is what Spanish people do; escape trouble through their language barrier. This is unacceptable and I would like a FULL refund for the installation. I have purchased many items from RTG in the past and if this is the way you now treat customers, I will NEVER purchase anything else for your stores.

    Buyer beware. Store policy is no returns after 48-hours, then 80% with restocking, paying for shipping back, other fees. When I called the store to tell them I did not want an item scheduled for delivery the next day, I was told no refund even though I had not taken possession of the product and had paid $200 for delivery. Is that even legal? I would expect a reputable store to mention verbally and an highlight on T&Cs as well as website that there is NO RETURN policy. When you pay $1,000+ it is ridiculous not to ensure the customer is notified. The return policy only appears in minor type on the receipt the terms & conditions which of course the sales rep skips through and just asks you to sign. Yes I know it is up to me to read the T&Cs which is why I say it is slimy. In the days of Amazon, Wayfair, Overstock, etc. can they really get away for no returns? Shame since I really like the chair and was planning to buy more pieces - now I will buy elsewhere.

    We spent over $8,000 on various pieces of furniture from Rooms to Go but soon realized that you get what you pay for. We also bought the insurance but won't even bother filing a claim since even if they fix what's broken, it will still be a piece of junk. According to the policy, the worn out 1 year old rug would be considered damaged by normal wear and tear. We bought a living room set consisting of a couch, a loveseat, and a big chair. We noticed immediately that the couch was noisy when you sat down or stood up because the wooden foundation was loose, and you can't get to the structure to tighten it. After about 6 months one of the springs on the couch detached on one side and the bracket tore the cushion on the bottom. The cushions are also showing wear after only about 1.5 years, as are the couch pillows we bought from RTG.

    The light colored rug we bought at RTG that has a darker pattern started fading immediately on any area with light foot traffic. Now the only intact pattern is under the coffee table, which we also bought from RTG. The salesperson said they don't sell rug pads so I had to buy one from a different store to avoid sanding our hardwood floors with the new rug. The leather office furniture consisting of a couch and loveseat are holding up well but no one ever sits on them. That may be because they're stiff and uncomfortable. We do like all the tables we bought, including a dining room table, a coffee table and two end tables. Add up the amount of furniture I've listed to realize how cheap it was at $8,000 on sale. It would have cost at least twice that much for quality furniture, but we wouldn't have had to replace it in less than 2 years.

    The good news is that we learned our lesson and will never buy cheap furniture from Rooms to Go again. We've order new living room furniture from a more reputable firm. We can only hope that a charity will accept our RTG furniture, or I'll be cutting it up with my Sawzall and taking it to the dump. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.

    Not happy, spent 6k on my couch and was told that if my couch was featured in the upcoming Labor Day sale (2 weeks away from purchase date) I would be reimbursed the difference by calling the store. Instead the Jensen Beach store took my money and refused to reimburse the difference. Corporate was no help. Stay away from these crooks. They have lost my custom. That's for sure.

    Rooms to Go by far the worst people I dealt with. They deliver damage couch, beds and tables and when they come to deliver the exchange for the damage furniture they did not even wait for less than 5 minutes for my brother to get out of the bathroom, since it is a 14 year old who opens the door they just immediately left without asking if there is someone with him and when I realize that they left they are still at the compound where I live but they don’t want to turn around and come back maybe cause it’s inconvenience for them, I ask to be delivered the next day cause I can’t take off work and since it’s their fault for damaging the furniture, or even re-routing the driver to go back. Nope but they just lie that the drivers already reach their local wear house and that’s not even 5 minutes when they left my house.

    Worst terrible customer service, worst manager named Mike! Worst delivery people!!! I will Never step foot on that store again!!! FYI I literally paid in full and bought their entire living room, dining room, bedroom, patio and more. Cost me $$$$$ and I get treated this way!!! Wish I know someone who can recommend a lawyer so I can sue this company for what they made me go through.

    THIS WAS MY REVIEW 3 WEEKS AGO. After I file a dispute charges on my account worth $$$$$ I’m still waiting for the result cause until they responded to the dispute I don’t get my refund or money. They try to contact me two or a week ago to work things out as I told them if only they did not treat me the way they did this won’t happened. Now I have to wait for everything to sort out before I get my replacement on all the furniture that their delivery people damage it. And I have to wait for the result to get all of my orders delivered. I did not even take a photo of the two side tables that are factory defect. I guess cause every time you pull the glass table to move it some of the parts falls off and drop on the floor or below the table which is also glass. And FYI ROOMS TO GO have a no return policy.

    I regret dealing with this company. I’m starting over with my son buying a home and every furniture inside the house I decide to go to the company but yet this is how they treat you. FYI. This is not the first time I have them a second chance after they delivered damage furniture to me and I went a bought more, I know I should have one of my big mistake I made and I even paid my credit card in full. Another mistakes. I should have waited until everything is delivered. WORST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!

    I ordered legs for a sofa that was donated to my nonprofit in Jan 2023. As of May 8 I still have no legs and when I call the main number on my receipt I keep getting the same answer. "It can take 60-90 days and the parts department does not have a direct line." It has been OVER 90 days and they have cashed my check but cannot tell me the status on my order! Rooms To Go has an unreliable system when it comes to ordering parts. If I knew it would be this hard I would have not have accepted the sofa. How can I give a family in need of a sofa, a sofa without legs?

    Totally Disgusted... Again. I have talked to several customer service employees, who assured me that would escalate my bed situation. Well another week and still no bed. At this point, I am totally disgusted and all I want is for RTG to send someone out to fix my adjustable base to fit my bed correctly. I just don't understand why this is so hard to get done. The delivery people who came out when I was not home said the room was not ready that is totally not true if that was the case why did they set up the bed frame but did not put the base on?

    I need RTG to get a tech out to fix my bed and I want compensation more than the delivery fee refunded. This had been nothing but aggravation and stress unnecessarily. I could get a refund but I went through the trouble of picking this particular set for my paint and floors I picked so returning is not an options for me. Any advice from lawyers, negotiators, or mediators, I am open for suggestions at this point? Again RTG what are you going to do to make this right?

    On 3/22/22 we bought a sectional with a chaise on each side, couch in middle and an ottoman for 2280 plus the extended coverage protection. Around December we noticed the right side chaise kept dipping in the middle and wasn't keeping its shape. We continued to sit in it but it became increasingly uncomfortable and in February we finally flipped it upside down (not an easy task) and saw a wood frame was sticking out through the mesh fabric stapled on the bottom. I called Rooms to Go and asked for customer service. They gave me the name of the company we have extended coverage with though we were still within the year. I called and explained chaise was broken and they said they'd schedule someone to call me.

    Weeks went by and no one called. I called again and finally they scheduled a person to come out and look at it. Not fix it - not replace it - just look at it. This took another two weeks before someone came out. He came out, took pics, said he'd file it and that if someone didn't contact me within 3 days to call back. Well no one called back and so I again started calling. By now it is april 6th when he came and April 12th still no call. I called Fortegra s. It states we paid for the 3 year service contract a total of 209.45 as the salesperson says - this covers everything should anything happen in 3 years. They'll come right out and repair it or get you a new one. Well, I'm attaching a copy of the actual contract which is mailed to you later and it actually says they don't have to fix beyond the cost of what you paid new nor do they have to match the color!

    Imagine - buying a gray couch and they say they'll replace it with a similar model but it will be red! Never in a million years! Anyway, I called again today to see when the chaise would be repaired as I was told they wouldn't authorize a replacement but would repair it in the shop. Today is 4/20. They said they couldn't get until June 9th. I'm like, what? June 9th? She said yes - our shop is full - No surprise there Sherlock! Crappy furniture needs constant repairs. We are out on vacation on June 9th so they are now schedule for June 24th to pick it up and then leave us chaiseless for however long they deem fit. I will never buy furniture again from Rooms to Go or use Fortegra and want others to be aware of what they're selling is not what they're saying.

    I bought 2 full rooms of sectional couches and chairs which were delivered in January 2022. I already have a big hole in frame of 1 couch! Was pushed to buy insurance said to cover all. NOT! Cheaply made furniture with insurance pushed at point of sale without chance to read small print! Cheaply made w/ FRAUD at point of sale w/ false promises that everything was covered! At doctor's office, I can read small print before signing HIPPA disclosure- but not with insurance costing hundreds more at RTG. Insult to injury- expensive cheaply made couch w/ expensive but worthless “insurance” re extended warranty! Stay away!

    I am extremely upset and disappointed in Rooms To Go customer service. I purchased a desk for $1738 with tax. The delivery crew delivered it and it was damaged. They said np will replace the top of the desk. They sent another crew for the 2nd time time to replace the top and they couldn't get the top off and said I will need to replace the entire desk. The 3rd time the crew sent out replaced the entire desk but guess what it was damaged AGAIN. They called and said, "We will get another replacement to you." This time #4 they came and the replacement was one I would live with, it had a minor scratch in the middle but much better than all the ones we had but guess what this crew could not disassemble the desk like crew #2 to do the replacement.

    OMG I am so frustrated at this point so they couldn't do the exchange. Then they called to tell me the item is out of stock and there's nothing they can do but return it. After 2 months of frustration with this company and spending almost $20,000 in furniture I will never purchase from them again. FIND ANOTHER FURNITURE STORE. ROOMS TO GO IS AWFUL.

    I’ve purchased a few things from R2G and they were the only furniture store I would purchase from. Well, I’ve come to know their furniture and insurance is the low of the barrel. The bedroom set, wasn’t covered because no one was coming out during Covid & they didn’t grant extensions. I purchased a mattress 1.5 years ago and it has started to sink in badly where the indentations are visible & the edge of the mattress is protruding. The guy comes out and advises the coils are bad. Two weeks no call so I go into the store & spoke to Randy (who’s actually a Gem) and a request was put in for corporate to call with an update.

    I get a call the next morning from Monica (corporate Ofc) and she’s so sour & nonchalant it’s shameful but she tells me to go in the store for a replacement and I have to pay $100 disposal fee. What?!?! I Go to the store. There’s no comparable mattress to what I bought. I’d have to pay an additional $500 (disposal fee incl) for a new mattress. That’s crazy! How do a mattress not last over 1.5 years for someone who weighs 165?! So I leave annoyed & frustrated…

    Now I either sleep on a defective mattress & continue to damage my back or buy a new one from another company and lose my money. Well I haven’t decided on that but I have decided to cancel my recent furniture order as I do not want to do business with them anymore. Paying thousands of dollars for items that’s last no more than 1 year is a waste. I need a company who stands behind their products and services instead of having warranties & milking their customers to buy additional warranties that are useless. They will never get any more of my business!

    Just moved to Florida after selling my house in Connecticut. Went to Rooms To Go to buy some furniture and new bedroom set. Spent 8,000 dollars on a king size mattress, some couches, mattress base and bedroom set. Quite a lot for just those things. I had asked my sales guy about if I didn't like something if I would be able to return it or exchange it like most places do and he said it shouldn't be a problem due to the fact that I was trying out a base that moves for the first time, so I wanted to make sure it wasn't a problem. Little did I know my mattress was going to feel like sleeping on bricks and the mattress at the store didn't feel like it had springs. Went the next day to the store, only to be told there was nothing I could do that I was basically stuck with the mattress.

    I truly don't understand considering I was willing to spend an extra 1500 to buy a Purple mattress which doesn't have springs. On top of this was told I couldn't return the base for a regular box spring and maybe use the rest of the money I paid for the base for something else in store. I haven't slept for days since I bought this mattress and after reading people's horror stories on here I feel like my wife and I made a huge mistake going to this place. I purchased 2 "top grain leather" eric church sofas in mid July of 2021 for $3,100 and with minimal use of an hour or less per day they are already falling apart. The leather is cracked and discolored in the main seating areas, the once beautiful stitch work is coming undone in multiple areas and the manual recliners regularly get jammed. The salesman at this place push the Fortegra 3 year extended warranty at time of purchase by telling the customers it will cover everything under the sun from cracking and peeling etc however when I called to file a claim they tell me to read the fine print because the leather defects and stitchwork are not covered and only the reclining issue would be serviceable under warranty. I have had furniture with considerably more use last MUCH longer and not have these issues. Rooms to go does not stand by the products they offer and the warranty they push on you is an outright scam.

    I purchased a complete set of patio furniture - the Solana, love seat, 4 club chairs, coffee table and ottoman. Within one month after being on the balcony in Destin on the water the tables rusted and there was mold on the "teak" hand trim!!! I contacted the store in Destin and the manager basically said "too bad we don't guarantee against mold and rust". Mind you this is "outdoor" furniture. I was stuck with this defective furniture that was falsely reported to be outdoor and was horrible. I would never buy big item pieces from this company. They are ok for accessories, such as lamps. Fool me once...

    Process was easy, delivery delayed a day because truck broke down, but got order the next day. Only problem is the USB port doesn’t fit my Apple devices, only thing that works is my dog electronics toy. Should have smaller port to fit Apple devices. Didn’t receive my instruction manual so I called customer support and they emailed me right away. Thanks.

    I purchased a couch less than 3 years ago and we purchased the additional coverage for the couch in case anything should happen to the material or mechanics of the recliners. After calling about a defect in the leather, the company Fortegra (the additional coverage after you purchase) told me my claim wasn't supported. The material is coming up from the console cover in an area we never touch. So either it's crappy craftsmanship from Rooms to Go or they're selling additional coverage for the furniture that will not be covered due to loopholes in the contract. I am very disappointed with the service I've received from Fortegra and I think Rooms to Go should consider doing business with a different coverage company.

    Updated 03/28/2023: Followup to previous post. Rooms-To-Go won’t process an order unless paid in full (thousands) & when notified delivery now extended to 3 months, we cancelled order. Refused to refund deposit. They won’t even allow you to use the deposit to buy from Rooms-To-Go online. Sales policy is fraud.

    Original Review: Selected furniture (thousands of $), paid 20% and provided a delivery date 6 weeks later. Checked @ 3 weeks and had no delivery scheduled. Told delivery now 2 more months, only if we paid in full. Sounds like a scam to get our money and then not deliver.
