Updated on 06/06/2025: After being hung up on twice by customer service, then asking to speak to salesman and being hung up on again. So I waited a day and no better luck with customer service. I said all I’d like to know is where can I purchase broken parts and got no help from customer service. They acted like it’s a secret. I was finally able to find a site where you speak to a customer care representative via chat line. I sent in an order form along with a check and now waiting for a response. We will see how long this takes or if it even happens.
Original Review: Bought a sofa and loveseat from the outlet store. Was told by salesman that both pieces were as is except if there were any problems with the electronics a technician would be able to come to our home and take a look. But after we discovered the phone charging ports on this Port Royal piece are defective (there are two ports on each piece, and one side on each piece is defective) their customer service says they can’t help. Don’t buy from the outlet store or even main store, because their customer service after the sale is terrible.

We bought furniture from Rooms To Go at the beginning of 2024. The fabric on the couch and chair failed. We exercised the one year warranty and asked to get furniture with different fabric. We were denied that opportunity and told that it is “company policy” to replace it with the same exact thing. We told the person on the phone that it was futile to get this furniture again because the fabric would just fall apart again and that is exactly what happened. We were then visited by another person to inspect the problem for the “extended warranty” and denied again.
How can Rooms To Go replace a defective product with the same defective product and expect something different? This is unfair policy and only benefits the Rooms To Go. Rooms To Go does not honor their warranty. We spent thousands of dollars on this defective furniture. This is unacceptable. Is Rooms To Go going to do anything to make this right? Please respond so that we will know how to proceed. order **

Do not buy chairlifts from them, they are cheap. You pay lot of money, you buy extra insurance and when you have a problem, nobody will fix it. We have 2 recliners and both of them have lost their cushion and when you sit in them, they shake. Someone came out. Check them a month ago and I had to call to find out the results if they're going to fix it or give me new chairs. But my problem is not covered, is considered to be wear and tear. I've only had the chairs a year and a half from what the woman told me.

Customers wishing to shop at Rooms To Go should prepare themselves for the old run-around or what is commonly known as the bait & switch routine. My 85 year old mother purchased two mattresses at Room To Go. One was a queen size mattress and adjustable foundation, the other was a full size mattress. The full size mattress she bought for me and It was a Casper brand memory foam mattress with Medium support. I keep the full mattress for a 'qualifying' period of 30 days (the industry standard), before I had decided the mattress was just too soft for me and asked our sales associate about exchanging the mattress from a Medium comfort matt to a firm comfort mattress. He immediately began telling me telling me how better off I would selecting something entirely different and more expensive than what I was asking for.
I had to become a bit more 'firm' and as I repeated my desire to exchange the full mattress I had received for a firmer version of the same mattress. I had prior to this point already reviewed all of the 'Casper' full size mattresses and that a 'firm' matt was available in a full size to wit my sales associate declared it was not... until he finally scrolled through all Casper mattresses on his PC tablet and found it to be a Casper I model. After all that he still ended up ordering me a QUEEN size mattress as my replacement!!! Cost to me? $364.96 buckaroos. Then I was called by a lady from the credit/financing office and explained I was over charged for the wrong mattress and I would receive an $85.00 credit to my credit card.

We went to the Lebanon Nashville Outlet. Scotty was our salesman, he fitted us with the perfect couch. I really appreciate the time spent finding us exactly what we wanted and needed. I want leave a review for Darwin at the Rooms to go in Wellington. Normally, I don’t leave reviews, however, he was so helpful. I wanted him to help me with a piece of furniture that goes with the dining room table I had already bought from there. I saw they were having a sale. I approached the salesman inquiring about a recliner. His name is Daniel **. While we were walking towards the recliners I showed him a picture of incline that I was interested in. He immediately took me to that same recliner. I sat down and made myself comfortable and the recliner while he was explaining how to maneuver the power buttons. He was very knowledgeable concerning the questions that I was asking about the recliner. His customer service skills were exceptional and courteous. I ended up purchasing that same recliner. A delivery date was set up and I am awaiting the delivery scheduled for June 7th.

I purchased a Shack Tech Reclaimers set from Rooms To Go after being assured by the salesperson that it was made from high-quality leather and that the 3-year warranty would cover scratches and general wear. Within just a few days, I noticed that the armrests scratched very easily, which raised concerns about the actual quality of the material.
When I contacted customer service, they claimed the warranty only covers manufacturer defects, not scratches—even though I was specifically told otherwise at the time of purchase. That’s a clear case of false advertising in my opinion. To make matters worse, when I questioned whether the leather was even real, they said it’s only “ leather where the body touches.” Does that mean arms don’t count as part of the body? If you’re considering buying this furniture, be very careful. You’re paying a high price for what turns out to be a partial leather product and a warranty that doesn’t cover what the salesperson promised. I expected better transparency and customer support.

I bought a new king size mattress and picked it up on Mother's Day, 05/11/2025, and a picture of the Property Brothers was advertised on it. So, I figured it cannot be a bad mattress, they would not put their name on a bad product. I tried the bed out and told the salesperson I needed a good mattress because of my back issues. It was marked down and was a showroom model from roughly $1699 to $ 845 excluding taxes. So I thought it was a good deal. The salesperson told me it was a great mattress. Less than 2 weeks later, I can already see the imprint of 2 people sleeping on the mattress and when I move to the middle of the mattress I can def feel myself rolling up. So, I went back but I knew that it was a mattress "as is" and no warranty. I just wanted the salesperson and manager to know that they failed to disclose the actual condition of the mattress, how long it has been on the floor and how many people laid on it.
Basically, I bought a second hand mattress. When I went back, the manager John told me that the way I transported it, on top of a van, using 1 strap, and literally driving 5 minutes to my home, caused this. He also said that there is nothing he could do, it was 'as is'. So, from now on there will never be anything bought from RTG again. Be warned!!!

Rooms to Go sold me a protection plan on my large purchase 18,000.00 $ worth of furniture. I'm a smoker and the fire on my cigarette burnt a small hole a little bigger than a pin point. I called rooms to go in Ocala Florida 3 weeks ago. They sent a worker out to take pictures and look at the damage. He said it would be 2 weeks and they would pick up the love seat and repair it. Within 2 weeks no sight or sound from them.
I called rooms to go on Monday this week and got a runaround about the repair that was going to take a couple of months. I still have the furniture in my house in repaired. In my opinion rooms to go are frauds with claims overpriced and rude, unfriendly and ignorant of their customers needs. I will file a complaint with the consumer affairs in Tallahassee Florida on Monday and on the 30th of this month I'll hire an attorney to take them to court for violation of our contract for repair the furniture they charged me and refused to repair by deception. My advise is stay away from this company as they lie about their warranty and make promises they don't intend to follow through.

Last year I purchased a living room set from Rooms to Go. Initially, they delivered damaged items, then tried to cover the damage with marker, but the scratch marks on the wood furniture was so bad that they couldn’t cover it properly. So I refused to keep the item, then they replaced it. The sofa set color started fading in 6 months, arm rest stitches fell off the place in 3 months of purchase. Customer service representative was very rude and unhelpful. Since I had credit card with them I made another purchase for bedroom set. When the delivery arrived, I requested the delivery guys to wear shoe caps inside the house since I have a crawling baby with low immunity lives in the house. They refused to do that.
Then the delivery guy called someone on his phone and that lady told me that I need to reschedule the delivery and I can make a special request to bring shoe covers next time. So I called customer service to reschedule the delivery and a person named Lorenzo told me that they can’t have delivery guys to wear shoe covers, hence I requested to cancel the purchase, then he says I will only get partial refund because of me not compromising my family safety. He was so rude that he refused me to connect to a manager or someone with higher authority. I would never recommend this store even to my enemies.

Extended warranty they sell is a scam. Sales rep. lied. They don't replace defective furniture for free. My recliner had messed up spring from day one. They would not swap it out. Leather peeling and will not fix or replace it.

We recently purchased an area rug and a mattress from Rooms to Go in Knoxville TN. We asked about delivery costs so we could determine if it was worth the cost versus picking up the items ourselves. The salesperson said he would work to see if any discount was available on the rug. The mattress would cost 69.99. His solution was to put us into this Decorator Club and he could give a $30 discount but would have to ring up the rug in a separate tra. Great! But he failed to mention this club cost 69.99 that is Not Refundable. He pushed a bunch of papers in front of my wife and we didn’t see this charge until we left the store.
When we reported the issue as part of the stores follow up electronic review we got a request for more information. I believe I provided that info but R2G’s process just shuffled me to unworkable sites or links. I believe this is a sales scam and the salesperson earned a commission thru deceptive practices. They were early and very polite. Everything was efficient and smooth. They took their shoes off to protect the hardwood floors and were just amazing. We are very happy with everything. They removed the old bed and installed the new one in record time. Definitely would use again.

Absolutely awful customer service and misleading sales practices. I recently purchased two mattresses from the Rooms To Go Osceola store on May 17, 2025, to go with two bedroom sets I bought just a few weeks earlier. Before buying, I asked the sales rep about their return policy and was clearly told I could return the mattresses if I was unsatisfied.
They were delivered on May 21, and within two hours of delivery I tried to return them. I was then told no refunds allowed, and that even an exchange would require me to pay pickup and delivery fees. I even offered to bring them back myself — which customer service told me I could do — but the store refused and said it was not allowed. Total conflicting information from the store, customer service, and the manager (David). I even went to the store in person to try to resolve it, and still got no help. As a returning customer who just spent a lot of money, this was incredibly frustrating and unacceptable. I feel misled and disrespected. I will not be shopping at Rooms To Go again, and I don’t recommend anyone else does either.

Never buy stuff from Rooms to Go. These people are fraud. I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Rooms to Go and do not intend to make any future purchases from your store, given the service I’ve received. At the time of purchase, I was explicitly told that the insurance would cover everything, even severe damage like the sofa being torn apart. No one advised me to review the exclusions in the policy; instead, I was simply asked to sign the document without any detailed explanation. When I later filed a claim, I was surprised to learn that even simple issues like sketch marks are not covered. This situation could have been avoided if the salesperson had provided accurate and complete information at the time of purchase. Misleading a customer into believing something is covered when it clearly isn’t reflects very poorly on your business practices. In my view, this borders on misrepresentation.

The only reason I'm giving Rooms To Go in Stuart, FL two stars instead of one is because the showroom is well-presented and the furniture appears nice at first glance. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. Our salesperson, Victoria, felt more like a used car dealer than someone genuinely trying to help. She misled us on multiple fronts. First, she convinced us to purchase an expensive rug, assuring us of its quality. I specifically asked if it would unravel, as many outdoor rugs tend to do unless they’re high-end. She confidently told me it wouldn’t—but sure enough, it started coming apart within the first month. Clearly not the quality we were promised.
Second, she let us take home a patio umbrella directly from the store without mentioning that doing so would void the item from being covered under the 3-year warranty she also persuaded us to buy—another total waste of money. When I called recently to express my concerns, I was able to speak with Victoria again. Instead of offering any sort of solution or even a civil conversation, she became rude and abruptly hung up. If you're looking for honesty, integrity, and respectful customer service, I strongly suggest avoiding this store altogether. You deserve better.

I purchased my bedroom set about 3 years ago. I purchased the warranty that covered scratches and dings. I called them before the coverage ran out and in the process was unable to complete the service call. I called today and according to them they policy expired and now I've paid for something I didn't get to use. Beware they will not call before the expiration of your extended warranty but I'll take your money. I spoke with Andy a customer service supervisor and his attitude was just like any other big company... It doesn't affect him, so you know the rest.... **

We purchased a Sealy Posturepedic and was told it's motionless but after sleeping on it found that to be false. Rooms to Go just says sorry complain to sealy. It's terrible when you make a complaint but the store doesn't backup what they say at the time of purchase. I see many bad reviews on rooms to go and no I will never buy from them again. BUYING EXTENDED WARRANTY IS A WASTE OF $! SAVE YOURSELF!!!! In the fall of 2024, I purchased the French Market Dining Set. I also purchased the extended warranty and have close to a year and half left on it. The warranty ended up being worthless and was a total waste. Due to recent renovations, the table was moved out of the way from the renovation area. Once renovation was done, we went to move the table back into the dining area and discovered a rubber glove had been laid on top of the table (nobody claims the glove).
When we removed the glove, we discovered it had literally melted the finish from the table (in a glove shape). I was sick. I called RTG who then gave me another number to call to initiate a claim. An email was received after having spoken to a“claim” person instruction in me to send photos of the damaged table. I quickly replied and attached photos. The next day I was told, via email, the claim has been denied and was not covered under “accidental.” I was furious and still don’t understand how this can be. I now have a ruined table with no accountability and time left on a useless “extended” warranty. I’m so disappointed and will never purchase anything from RTG (merchandise quality issues) again let alone a worthless “extended” warranty.

I recently purchased two chairs and 3 table (two end and one coffee table), and the salesman, Ethan ** was excellent and the delivery was excellent. However, when the last table was brought in, the slate tile on the bottom of the end table was broken near the top edge. I asked if the delivery guy could just pop out the tile and get it replaced and he said: "Ma'am, the tile should pop out but it will not, I have already tried it. I have already called this in and they should call you and deliver a new table, since it will not pop out.."
That was Last Monday! Still no call 8 days later so I call and spoke with a woman and then with a supervisor.... Basically, "there are no tables in stock" because the line is discontinued! The solution both the CSR and her supervisor gave me was that: "we will order a new tile and have it sent to you" and then you can replace it!" So, again I stated that the tile would not come out of the table and that solution would not work. She said: "Well that is the choice you have or you can return the table."
Bottom Line: Rooms to go gave me a damaged table and they want me to fix it. This is not the first time I have received damaged furniture but it is the first time ROOMS TO GO HAS MADE THEIR ERROR MY PROBLEM! Ratings for the salesman, Ethan is 5 stars, Rating for delivery is 5 starts, and as usual: The RATING FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS 0!

The only thing worse than the furniture was the BOGUS INSURANCE they sold me! Patio loveseat fell apart after 14 months. The assembler had forced together two parts. R2G sent an inspector who told me NOT TO USE it! A month later, after hearing nothing, I contacted the insurance company who told me they denied the claim. I asked why and they had no answer. Do not EVER waste your money on insuring furniture from Rooms to Go. Good Money After Bad.

We have purchased from RTG, after saying never again, they replaced my leather sectional with another supposedly higher brand. It’s fading and damaged in less than 1 year! I have no children and it’s 2 of us in the house, I called their insurance company and of course they waffled on coverage, not only did they fail to repair or replace, rtg gave me the wrong piece of furniture from the beginning and that’s the piece that’s damaged, I paid for a 3 reclining sofa they sent me 3 double recliners, and they refuse to refund me for the wrong charge or replace the damaged piece.
If it wasn’t for my credit score, I would drive this dining room and living room and bedroom furniture and drop it on their lot and not pay another red cent!! Nothing worse than a crooked company, that can see that they are failing customers, with their hidden tactics, when you get the extra coverage ASK WHAT IS COVERED, don’t allow the salesperson to bait you with the highlights of the coverage!! I bought a couch set one year ago. Within just a few months the zippers broke on the cushions the fluff on the couches flattened. I called them and asked them to repair the zippers, repair the fluff. But nothing was under warranty yet I bought the five-year extended warranty. My question is what the heck is covered then, I’m so disappointed with them. I will never buy another couch from them again or any furniture for that matter.

I bought a sofa from Room to Go with an extended warranty, and within the first year, I started experiencing padding issues. We reached out to their service team, and a technician came out, added some foam, and told us to keep using it. Fast forward just five months, and the same issue reappeared with the padding. Unfortunately, by then, we were outside the one-year window. When I turned to the extended warranty, I was told it wouldn’t be covered and my claim was rejected. This is extremely frustrating, especially since the sales rep sold the sofa with incorrect information, leading me to believe that the warranty would cover such issues.
Most people assume that an extended warranty will cover everything, but apparently, that’s not the case here. I called the Room to Go manager hoping for some assistance, especially since we had reported the issue within the first year. However, they simply transferred me to the extended warranty team, and my claim was denied. I strongly recommend avoiding Room to Go. My experience has been incredibly disappointing, and I will be advising my friends and family to shop elsewhere. NFM offers better coverage on extended warranties, and I will be sticking with them from now on. I’m extremely unhappy with the product and the lack of proper customer service.

Purchased some furniture from Rooms To Go first time in my life. I usually shop at Pottery Barn or West Elm. I wasn't expecting high quality just something reliable for a second home in FL. The couch was delivered with a broken lounge and it took them months to replace it. Then the new lounge arrived and it was covered in grease. The 3rd lounge arrived and it had a tear in it. I did purchase the 3 year warranty and unfortunately they don't stock the couch or the ottoman I purchased less than a year ago. So they sold me on a 3 year warranty for furniture they can fix or have in stock. Now I am fighting to at least get me money back on the 3 year warranty since I can't use it due to the fact they don't carry these items any more.

I applied for a Rooms to Go account over a year ago. I just got my card yesterday. I had forgotten about the account until I received the card. I had to call 3 different numbers to get one questioned answered. The number that the customer service rep transfer me to was disconnected. Through the various phone calls made, I discovered my account had been closed. I did not request for the account to be closed. Rooms to Go will close the account for inactivity if not used within a specific time. I did not get any notification prior to them closing the account. The only thing I received was this card. This is very misleading as far as quality and service. I do not think a customer should be sent cards for use for closed accounts. The last representative explained that the account cannot be reactivated and I would have to reapply again. I do not believe I will be doing this for it will be another year before see my card. Buyers beware!

Delivered damaged furniture repeatedly. Paint chips, cracked, and glue under the stain. After being told a replacement date, I was called and told I was too picky and I need to go back into the store and pick out different items. Horrible customer service support. They are rude and unprofessional.

Caution - Do not buy from Rooms to Go, they sold me inferior product, imported **. Warning - Upholstery fabric weirdly turns yellowish at certain spots, without any wear or direct sunlight or animal intervention. Not warranted after a year despite purchase of 3 year warranty. Rooms to Go will respond here to complaints with, "Sorry contact us at TellUs.com, etc. Then deny all reponsibility for their inferior product there. They're not Sorry.

We went to the location in Hoover AL, which is an hour away from us in Nov 2024 and picked out a bedroom suite. The Mill Valley II 7 pc set. We were upsold on the adjustable base. They delivered right at Christmas. There was damage on all pieces, and the delivery crew tore the mattress. Had to set up an exchange. Mattress we purchased had been discontinued so we had to make another trip to Hoover. Exchange delivery was worse than the first. Had to set up a 2nd exchange, Requesting it be inspected before delivery. These pieces had cracks and broken spots that had been glued back together. Next exchange, again broken pieces. So go back to Hoover, pick out a different set. They are not happy because the set I picked out is not of equal value but they finally approve it. Talked to the store about exchanging the 2nd mattress because it does not sleep well.
I have to call customer support, call them no issue but it needs to be equal value or more. The base is no use, I was told call customers service. Customer service says I have to talk to the store. You would think they would make things right. Oh no they want to send a tech out which makes me take more time off work. My stress level is already high and this just adds to it. This is our 2nd major purchase from Rooms to Go, first one was our living room, It took us over a year due to the quality. Uploading photos of the quality of stuff they sale.

I recently purchased a livingroom set from the Port Richey FL. store. I was immediately greeted by Gina with a smile. She worked with me showing all the possibilities in the style I was looking for. Gina was fantastic, friendly and helpful. I just received the first delivery of the leather sofa and chair, I love them. This would be a 5 star review if it wasn't for the months it will take for the rest of my livingroom to arrive. All together it is 3 deliveries over 5 months to be whole. Overall I want to say thank you to Gina and HURRY UP to Rooms to Go.

The sofa looks beautiful. After two years we had to add padding to the cushions. Now four years after we need to buy a new sofa. The springs do not spring or support anymore. We paid $1,500. Not worth the money. In 1995 we purchased a sofa for $4000. It lasted 20 yrs and still going strong. So Rooms To Go quality 👎👎👎. Go spend more money somewhere else.

Good Day! I am writing this email as a long time customer of RTG. On Jan. 1, 2024 I purchased a leather (wear you touch) sofa and loveseat. I purchased an extended warranty when I made the purchase. Since the purchase, I have had to use the coverage 3 times. Once for a defect with the reclining feature and the another for a cut made by the delivery crew when unpacking the items.
My most recent claim was filed when my wife and I noticed that the non leather sections of the sofa and love seat where turning pink. We called Customer service and filed another claim. When we called for service we were told that the earliest they could get someone to come out was approximately 2 weeks away. During the 2 weeks the pink coloration started to lessen. I started to research the issue to discover what could be causing this. During my research, I read that heat may cause an reaction that may cause the non leather fabric to turn pink. I recalled that when the items where at there worst state our fireplace was on in that room where the items were located.
A representative finally came out on February 19. He stated that he was very familiar with the problem and that it is a known problem but that the cause of the reaction had not been determined. He took his pictures and said he would submit his findings to the warranty company. On February 22nd I called RTG to inquire about next steps in correcting the issue. RTG representative stated that I would need to contact the warranty company, Fortega. I did as they suggested and called Fortega. I was told by the Fortega rep that after reviewing the claim that it was being denied because warranty didn't cover discoloration. I told him I disagreed with the decision and that the problem was not mere discoloration but a known defect. He also confirmed that this is a known issue but it was not covered. He informed me that I could file a dispute of the decision which I plan to do.
Following my conversation with Fortega, I called the RTG customer service line again to understand what next steps were once RTG received the claim denial. The representative didn't have any answer so I asked to speak with a supervisor. The representative connected me to a supervisor who was not interested at all in helping me resolve my situation but in fact accused me of being the cause or doing something to cause the furniture to turn pink. I became very upset and enraged at her I ended the call with her.
I apologize for the long email but wanted to provide a clear picture of the events. I am appalled that RTG continued to sell a product with the knowledge of a known defect causing the non leather surfaces to react and change color and hasn't recalled the items or provided viable resolution to those customers. As a matter of fact, I actually don't see the sofa set we purchased offered for sale. At the very least customers affected by this known defect should be provided a store credit to purchase another sofa set without the known issue of the non leather surfaces becoming discolored due to unknown reactions. I plan to continue the process of filing my dispute but wanted to make future buyers of RTG leather sofas aware of this issue. No one should have to except living with a sofa purchased a year ago that was intended to be one color but becomes another color through no fault of theirs.

I have entered a Rooms to Go store once in my life, and that was 10 years ago! The $5,758.76 I spent on my first and only purchase from RTG was on November 22, 2024. Let me start at the end and then if you are interested, you can read why I came to my recommendation that you go somewhere else to shop.
There are much better values out there than RTG. I base my conclusion on the fact that they must use high pressure commissioned sales staff to sell the really profitable add-ons like extra warranties and delivery upcharges. I ordered on-line expecting to waive a salesperson's commission but as it turned out, a salesperson from a store 440 miles from my home called me, his name was Muhammed Hussain, in Frisco, Texas. So much for on-line ordering. The way it is set up is as a sales referral portal, not true on-line ordering. This guy was telling me how the $500.89 “RTG free delivery” charge was because the furniture came out of Houston, he was saying what a good deal that was to hire 2 people to just come to Del Rio for delivery. Then he spent an inordinate amount of time trying to sell the extended care warranty (I didn’t buy).
Since I’m talking to a real live person I ask for a better price since I was buying multiple items and paying in advance, all to be delivered at once. He told me that this furniture was well made in the United States. He did not offer me any discount on the furniture, it was beyond his control. BTW, I later learned that my upholstered furniture was made in China. Now, here’s what happened after the sale (which I paid upfront when ordering!); I was told that the two ottomans were out of stock and I would wait two months to get them, I accepted this reluctantly. So, now, remember, I ordered and paid on the 22nd of November. My $500.89 delivery charged order was not going to be delivered until the 16th of December! So much for two people in a truck bringing a “hot shot” to Del Rio.
As it turns out, two guys did deliver it, they were from San Antonio, 150 miles from my home in Del Rio. They had four OTHER deliveries to my neighbors here in Del Rio as well, they told me. That said, I had gotten a phone call from someone from RTG the previous Friday to tell me that the coffee and end tables I ordered and paid for were not in stock and would not be with the 16th delivery. Then I was told by that same person they would bring them on Friday, four days after my Sofas were supposed to be arriving on Monday. I said if that was the case, then it was okay to deliver the Sofas.
When Friday came, no one showed up! So I called the salesperson in Frisco, Hussain, and he checked and said that they should not have told me that. The next delivery would not be until the 13th of January, 2025, I should wait until then! Well, that was a problem because I had already emptied my living room and now I was missing furniture that I was told I would have. I told Hussain that this wasn’t our deal, that I was not given a chance to cancel the order and I would expect them to compensate me for the miscommunication on their end. He said he would talk to the manager, Jeremiah (by the way, I just called the Frisco location to ask for Jeremiah’s last name and Deidra told me she was not allowed to give me his last name) and in the background I could hear Jerimiah talking to Hussain.
Hussain was told to tell me to wait until I got my entire order and then to call him back, he said the store manager would “take care of me”. I asked him what compensation he was talking about, what amount, and Hussain assured me they would take care of it. So, I finally got all my stuff, January 17th and called Hussain back (three times) and he said he would talk with Jeremiah.
Two days later I got an email from Jeremiah offering me a $50 Store Credit, store credit! I replied that I expected something a little more in line with the delayed delivery, the amount of the order and the miscommunication. Jeremiah never responded. I called Hussain again and told him this was not acceptable and suggested a better offer. I sent him a text outlining what I thought was fair, concerning the circumstances. He said he would talk with Jerimiah. Hussain nor Jerimiah contacted me. I contacted the RTG Customer Service the 29th of January via email, with attachments, and Morgane Hinde from CS asked for more information. Here was my answer to her; What?????? I attached a document with 7 pages. I have attached them again to this email.
This whole problem is that RTG has a disconnect from its customers. Processes that you built into a system that works for RTG, not necessarily for the customer. I feel like I've been steamrolled over. I'd ask Frisco why they won't call me back; they work for you! Please call me so I can fill in the spaces not understood.
Well, soon after that, I got a call from the Frisco store manager, Jerimiah. He said that was all he could offer, take it or leave it. That when this happens with a customer, there is no consideration given. Nor would he do anything else. He seemed to me quite put out that he even had to deal with this. He even told me he didn’t see the request that I had sent Jerimiah by text 5 days earlier (that’s called plausible deniability)! The attitude was, leave us alone, we have furniture to sell to someone else. We are through with you. My offer is in the attachment sent to RTG CS and in the text I sent your salesperson. I would like very much to see it fulfilled, even though Jerimiah said it was impossible. I see the impossible all the time!

We purchased a leather $5000.00 sectional with 3 recliners and a USB port in the console and they all quit working. The furniture came with a 1 year warranty and they sold us an additional 3 year warranty. I have had the furniture for 3 years and 1 month and when I call for service I am told my warranty is up and that the 1st year of the warranty runs consecutively with the 1 year warranty it came with, something that was never disclosed to us! So deceptive! So then I started looking for someone in my area to fix the sectional recliners and find no one! So then I thought surely they have someone that they can refer but guess what, no they don't and actually I was told "if you bought the extended warranty then they will send someone out and I explained what their warranty company told me and she said will I'm sorry we have no one and cannot help you"!
We actually have been youtubing how to fix and OMG hundreds of people have said the exact same thing and what's crazy is everyone of them said that maybe a month after the "extended warranty" was up, everything quit working, imagine that!!! THEIR FURNITRUE IS JUNK AND I PERSONALLY RECOMMEND FINDING A LOCAL REPUTABLE FURNITURE STORE IN YOUR AREA IF YOU EVER NEED FURNITURE!

After losing, my vehicle, motorcycle, boat, home and just about all the contents in Hurricane Helene; I finally got my permits after 4.5 months to rebuild my residence, and just like everyone else, needed to replace my ruined furniture. I didn't have flood insurance and ironically enough, was still paying on leather living room furniture that I had purchased from Room To Go (RTG) nine months prior to the two hurricanes. I explained this all to Christian (salesperson) RTG Pinellas Park and I was able to get two bedroom sets on sale and a kitchen table set. That part went as expected. I've had an account with RTG for ten years and have purchased furniture many times from them. Then, we walked by a couch, loveseat, recliner, coffee table, two end tables, and two lamp set that were red tagged clearance as it was a floor model. This was marked at $1,159.99.
I asked Christian if everything there was included in the price. He stated, "Yes." I asked specifically about the recliner, because the couch and loveseat were blue and the recliner was white, he again stated it was included. After five minutes of us looking over each item and sitting on the furniture I stated that the price seemed too good to be true. He for the third time stated, "Yes, everything on the carpet is included, except for the carpet." I told him that I would gladly take the living room set and include it with my other items. Christian stated for some unknown reason that RTG couldn't deliver floor model furniture and that a third party would deliver the floor items for a separate fee. Christian then conferred with his manager (name unknown) and the paperwork was written up and I paid the store in full.
When I got home and went through the twelve pages of paperwork, I noticed that I was charged a separate fee for the white recliner for $298. Of course, I thought that this just was a clerical error and would be quickly resolved with a call to Christian. That is where the blatant unethical business practice started to take shape. Christian stated that I must have misheard him. Then I pointed out the three times I asked him if everything was included, and him saying, "Yes, everything on the rug (white recliner was fully on the rug) except for the rug." He couldn't explain why he said that and referred me to his manager. I waited on the line until the manager picked up several minutes later. He didn't identify himself.
I kindly explained who I was and what had transpired with Christian expecting an apology and the manager rectifying the issue. Instead, he stated in an annoyed voice, "I know who you are. I saw you on the showroom floor. I drew up the paperwork. The recliner was not included in the seven-piece set. I gave it to you on a sale price." I again explained that Christian never advised anything about a seven-piece set and that everything on the carpet, except the carpet was covered under the $1,159.99 price point. His terse response, "I'm in no position to eat a $298 item. There is absolutely nothing I can do." My candid response was, "Yes, there is. You can cancel my entire order." With that, he hung up.
As of now, twenty-four hours later; I was given the two lamps because the third-party deliverer did not want to take them and I was billed $83.42. The emailed receipt stated that they were clearance items and couldn't be returned. I promptly went to the store and returned them. They were all of $10 lamps. Clearance items? What were they originally marked at apiece? I received a credit on a receipt from RTG for the floor items, but not the bedroom sets and kitchen table. I told Christian unequivocally again, to cancel my ENTIRE order. I have not received a receipt from RTG to substantiate that this was in fact done. I'm sure RTG will state in their response that this was just a simple misunderstanding. Nothing could be further from the truth, and they are well aware of that.
This was an intentional act to steal $298 on a $4,500 sale. Do I believe that Christian deliberately deceived me, "No." I surmise that the middle-aged, disheveled-looking unidentified manager in rumpled clothing was the bad actor in this scenario. The only question I have: Is it with the blessing of the RTG Pinellas Park location or is it the corporate culture of RTG nationally?

Do not buy from here. Paid good money for a couch. Had them come out to tell me that they would cover the electrical and the chaise having no more support. Two weeks later called into the support and they told me they would not cover the chaise as it had some frying on the front of the couch. The frying of the material has nothing to do with the support and mechanical issues with the couch. Do not buy from this company. They do not cover or warranty their products!!! And the extended warranty is a joke. Paid good money for that too!

Rooms to Go has the worst customer service ever. They only care about the sales, not their customers. After spending over $10k they will not replace a Cindy Crawford sofa that fell apart after 1 year even though we paid for the extended warranty. We ordered a credenza in November and were still waiting for it. Yesterday we were told that it's not coming in. Seriously!

Went into the showroom #1107 and picked out a sideboard cabinet. Was delivered 2 weeks later and was damaged. The delivery guys uploaded the photos. I called customer service and they scheduled another one to be sent 2 weeks later. Waited until 3:30 that afternoon. The guys took it off the truck, opened the box and it was damaged in the same spot. Was told they have now discontinued the cabinet and I would get a store credit. I said I wanted my money back and I would go somewhere else to buy it.
Well they left the original cabinet at my house. I was told I cannot get a credit until it is returned and I would have to wait another 2 week for pick up. Well if I wait for their pick up I will lose my job because I work out of town. But that is not their problem. I can either return it myself or wait but I will not be refunded until things are completed on their terms. So as a 51 year old woman my only option is to try to get this 5 ft cabinet in my car and take it back to the store by myself. Now it took 2 men to carry this in so I'm sure with my prior back surgery I will have no problems getting it returned on my own. So I guess now I can add physical injury to the total bill. And the delivery fee I paid they now owe me.

I purchased a round glass table with four chairs. And I purchased the 5 year warranty. The chairs after five years started to peel and turned into unusable chairs. I mean you expect some wear and tear but the way the chairs peeled off just showed the bad quality of the material. Buy elsewhere.

I purchased outdoor furniture- a sofa and two chairs 8 months ago to be used on my covered patio at a condo in Pensacola The cushions have developed mold. RTG has not been helpful at all other than to say use 50/50 bleach and water. I am overwhelming disappointed in the material. It was always meant for outside not something you would use inside. Poor material on their part and they sell it and say I didn’t do what I needed to do.

We bought this living room sofa bed sectional after 1 year it needed repair, they send someone to repaired it, we had 2 years warranty and now is over, the sofa bed is falling apart and there is no more warranty, the cheap labor on this furniture is not acceptable, and they will not recognized the issue, I am not the only customer not satisfied with their products, hopefully they will take responsibility and contact me.

I am writing to express my frustration and dissatisfaction with my recent experience regarding an order I placed for a bedroom set on January 11, 2025. As per your policy, I had to adjust my schedule and take time off work in order to receive my order, given that Rooms to Go does not allow customers to change delivery time frames.
Unfortunately, when my order was delivered, the wrong railing was sent. This was an obvious inconvenience, especially considering the significant time I had to take off work to be available for the delivery. I immediately contacted customer service, including speaking with someone from corporate, but no accommodations or sympathetic solutions were offered to address the issue. I am extremely disappointed by the lack of support and consideration for the inconvenience this has caused.

I ordered a bed online back in December, when my bed arrived to my house, it was missing all the screws needed to assemble my bed. I took a half day off for this waiting for the delivery, then they had to schedule another day for the missing pieces, took another half day off from work. For the past ten days, I've had 4 huge boxes sitting in my living room because the delivery guys said it would be easier for them to assemble when they returned. I called customer service, was given the runaround for about 20 minutes, from them transferring me to every department without a solution. I asked for them to come pick up the boxes, they provided that it would be 2 weeks before someone could do that. This whole experience has been dreadful and I'm a new Rooms to Go shopper. But NEVER AGAIN!

On 10/17/24, I purchased 2-Kids Mill Valley Jr Cherry 3pc Storage Beds (Order #**) from the RTG in Memphis, TN (Store#1187). When my sales person Cody asked if I wanted it delivered, I said yes. He mentioned the fee would be $70. He came back and asked if I wanted to have them assemble it for me ($300+). I said no. He then returned and stated that they would not be able to deliver to my address. I took this to mean, either I pay to have it assembled or I would have to drive the 2 1/2 hrs back to get my furniture. I opted to pick up.
My furniture came in on 12/3/24 but for some reason I was unable to pick up until 12/9/24. Within a few days, we are assembling the furniture. First bed went together quite smoothly. The second was a different story. My side rails were White not Cherry, and one of the drawers were busted. I contacted the store on 12/14/24 and was asked to take pics and send them to Customer Care. This was done the same day. No one bothered to make contact with me so I called the store on 12/16/24.
At that point I was told had I contacted them two days prior they could have done a swap as they were delivering in my area. I could still do a swap but I had to do it that week and I would have to drive the 5 hrs to/from. I refused, stating it was their mistake. Then was told the earliest the delivery/swap could be was on 01/16/25. I made contact with Georgian who was going to try to get the swap done quicker. I never heard from her. Several times I reached out to her, but nothing. She was not helpful at all. I made contact with the store manager and explained my situation and he assured me the swap would take place on the 16th. I told him, if it did not received my pieces on the 16th, I would drive on the 17th and return everything and demanded my money returned.
My pieces were delivered on the 16th, problem was there was no hardware included with the side rails. I went to my local hardware store and purchased what I needed. Nothing on this bed lined up correctly. We had to do a lot of tweaking. I was sent a link to complete a survey. That was a joke... The link will not open. Why does that not surprise me. I attempted to leave a review on the RTG site, only to be told the link I had to copy was incorrected (why because I gave you a 1 ratings). I tried this several times before I contacted RTG Headquarters and was told to google the RTG Review.. The next time I need new furniture, I'll stay local. RTG has definitely lost my business.

Do yourself a favor and do not buy from them. Very inconsistent delivery process. Dealing with customer service is the worse part. No solutions, no money back. Worst experience I’ve ever had buying furniture.

Last week I purchased a mattress and 3 pillows for $6500 - delivered 2 weeks later. Day after delivered I called to return the pillows, and I was told the pillows were nonreturnable. I was never told such a thing when purchased. I'm very dissatisfy with my experience. I feel I was ripped off.

Rooms to Go delivery service is a joke. The time frame they give you is worthless, because they give you every excuse in the book why they can't show in that time frame. I called customer service and it was pointless. I wouldn't recommend Rooms to go.

Very disappointed with Rooms to Go for the quality of their products. I've had a living room set that I purchased warranty on (thank goodness) that has had to be replaced 2 times for the same issue! When I contacted customer service to ask about a different design hoping that I just got a lemon and got no help at all. I would be happy to pay some difference on a new set but did not want to basically buy a new set when this one is still new and could definitely have some credit issued back for another purchase! In my opinion, not willing to please their customers after the sale.

Spent 4k on a couch and few months about having it the leather starting to peel and discolor. Purchased the extended warranty, put in a claim and it was denied. Was told the normal. Do not buy from Rooms to Go. I been fighting with them. Called multiple times. Still nothing.

We purchased Cindy Crawford patio furniture from Rooms to Go. We love the design of the furniture. We purchased the furniture in Miami and had it shipped to our home in California. Order with Rooms to Go indicated not to unpack furniture as it was being shipped to California. One chair arrived with the wrong cushions. Rooms to Go said warranty was voided because it was shipped out of state. This is not a warranty issue - they shipped the wrong cushions. We had to pay $200 to ship wrong cushions back to Rooms to Go, then receive correct cushions at our home in Miami, and then pay another $200 to ship to our California home. Rooms to Go customer service manager was rude and would not accept responsibility for their error. Do not purchase from Rooms to Go.

I outright purchased a living room couch that has a plugin electric recliner. I purchased the extended warranty as well. I take good care of care of my furniture and it still looks brand new. Then one day the recliner just stop working. I checked the cord, there’s no damage to the cord, and the box lights up when it’s plugged in but nothing happens when you try to recline it.
I called Rooms to Go so I can get this fixed and I was told my warranty expired. I understand that, I told them I’m willing to pay for it to be fixed. And I was told no they can’t do anything because of the no warranty. I said once again I understand about the expired warranty but is there something else I can do to get the chair working again and I will pay for it, because it’s their product. And she told me to contact a handyman or purchase a new couch. Poor customer service. They should have something in place for issues like this. Never again. I loved the couch until it just randomly stop working after only having it for 4 years. And I would never purchase another damn couch from them. Never again RTG, Never again.

I have spent over 3000$ at the store. They have sent me an defective product and told me that they will change it soon. 1 month later no replacement and when I called the customer service they told me you can go to store and get it changed and when I tried they wanted to charge me another delivery fee by saying that you will have to pay if you don’t want to to the same store that you have made the purchase. took me 1 hour and the manager treated me like they don’t want me there and said they can’t do anything about it, call the customer service so in whole day no help at all from 2 stores and the customer service number

Updated on 01/25/2025: Today is the 3rd time Rooms To Go came to my house to deliver the bed and it is still damaged. I have to take time out my day to call and wait another 3 weeks for re delivery which will make it the 4th time they will be coming here. Rooms to go sucks!!! I would never purchase there again even if the item is $2.00, I would gladly go elsewhere. They are supposed to check the items before it goes on the truck and they don’t.
Original Review: Rooms to go sucks… We ordered a bedroom set and it came damaged and they gave us a hard to get a replacement. They tried to set up a delivery date which was not convenient for us. Never again!!!! Do not I repeat do not shop at Rooms to go. :(

Came to Plano, Texas from Oklahoma with a retired disabled veteran to pick out living room furniture. Told the salesman (Ahmed) we would return following week for pick up. Friday January 3 I returned with my disabled veteran with a rented truck and trailer. Arrive in Plano. Speaks with salesman Brian. He makes sure that the sectional is available for pick up in Arlington and it is. We pay $4,500. Couldn’t receive veterans tax exempt because they were unable to verify it, even though the disabled veteran was present with ID and tax exempt card. Brian says the tax exempt has to go through Florida office. Brian says the furniture will be ready for pick up in 30 minutes and we could wait if we wanted. However it takes that long to get to Arlington.
As we are walking out the door Brian approached and says there was a mistake and that it will not be available for pickup until Monday or the veteran could pay an additional $500 for porch delivery to Oklahoma City by the end of January. The manager says that there was nothing he could do as he sat in his office chair on the cell phone. Once my disabled veteran friend decides to refund the manager approaches and still say “Unfortunately there is nothing we can do. If you like you can stay in Texas and pick it up on Monday morning or return Monday.”. I walked off to call the distribution center and the operator says that we would be able to pick it up the same day had someone contacted them and stated the situation and that we were from out of town. We were unable to receive it due to the refund processing. Salesman Brian must that been new as he looked lost in conversation waiting on the store manager to verify everything.
Store manager gave super poor customer service with his lack of respect of a customer who traveled out of state to purchase items. I have purchased from Rooms To Go several times but the Arlington store. Rooms To Go has lost me as a loyal customer and I will never refer them again. To my retired disabled veteran, I am sorry for the inconvenience. I have tried reaching corporate support in Florida with no success.

Had a great experience at Rooms-to-Go. Not our first time buying furniture from this location in Naples, FL. Our Sales Person, Sahra **, made herself available to us by explaining each product in the patio section very clearly. She was quite knowledgeable about the furniture, She was friendly and very easy with whom to work. We ended up buying two swivel patio chairs and a table from her. We thank her for all of her help and assistance.

The furniture I ordered is gorgeous and high quality. That's not my problem. They would not compromise on ANYTHING! NO military discount for a widow, no discount for door delivery instead of having it put just inside my door... It had to be delivered INSIDE the door. I found the delivery price of over $250 to be excessive so asked if I could pick it up from the warehouse.
Ashley lets me do it all the time. I'm supposed to load it myself but the warehouse guys usually load it up and use my tie-downs to secure it. They seriously refused to let me pick up my furniture from my closest warehouse for free. I think I'll stick with Ashley from now on. Even if I didn't have a truck and access to a trailer, it would be cheaper to rent a U-Haul to get my furniture to my home. I'm used to doing everything myself since my son is grown and has his own life now. I just can't believe they wouldn't budge on anything! They just refuse to work with you to save even a hundred dollars!
They have this thing where they say their prices are so low that they can't give discounts. I say I could have saved $200 by picking up my order from their warehouse which was only like an hour from my house! If the furniture wasn't exactly what I wanted, I would have stuck with Ashley. Their style this year is just geared more to my 31-year-old son at Ashley. I'm willing to let the refusal of a military discount go but them not letting me pick up my bedroom set from the closest warehouse to avoid the delivery fee was unacceptable! Not giving me the option of doorstep delivery is also unacceptable. They need to budge a little on things when you spend thousands on new furniture for a room.
I spent less on a custom sectional where I could pick out recliners for certain seats, how long each side would be and choose my fabric... I'm not talking those sectionals where it's a bunch of sections joined together... I'm talking truly custom... No slipcovers. Really good quality like the set I bought from Rooms to Go. Obviously, it's not high end but it will last decades and the pieces I choose are timeless so I won't have to replace it in my lifetime. I'm 50. They just need to concede on some things. I won't shop here again.

We purchased furniture from RTG and was extremely disappointed with both the product quality and the customer service. The furniture is showing signs of defect, the seams came apart within a few months of purchase and because of the poor quality of the fabric when someone sits on the sofas, the fabric also came apart, which are not acceptable given the price and expectations for this brand.
When I contacted customer service to resolve these issues, I found the process to be frustrating and unhelpful. We were told to file a claim then the claim was denied because they said it was vendor quality flaw and the insurance we purchased we were sold was under false pretense as it does not cover the poor quality of the product, “Only accidents”, but a lot of conditions go under this so called accidents coverage. We were then told to contact RTG who then sent us back to the extended warranty. We basically wasted our money on this insurance coverage and furniture. Overall, this experience was very disappointing, and I would caution others against purchasing from RTG unless you make significant improvements in both product quality and customer service. I hope the company addresses these issues promptly, this company needs to do better overall.

I bought the sectional and love seat from Rooms To Go. Total cost about 4000. It's been only couple of months and already cushions dying out. I even took warranty as they said covers everything. Of course now it doesn't cover. Like I said only few months and feels like stuck as sofa looks ages old. Do not buy furniture from them as the quality is bad and no warranty crap works.

Very disappointed with my furniture purchase. So last year we decided to buy a new sectional. We shopped around and my wife liked the one at Rooms to Go. We were replacing our sectional due to the last one we bought the bonding was wearing off. I had planned to buy the extended plan but when we were going to order the new sectional because it wasn’t in stock the associate gave me a price with the extended plan already added in and told me I had to buy it that way. Now I knew that to be a lie but I planned on buying it anyway, she said I would have to get manager approval to take it off. So I asked her to go talk to her manager, I wanted to see what she would say. She comes back and said he will make an exception if we don’t want it but we really should get it. As I said I wanted it, I specifically told her what happened to our last sectional and I wanted to make sure on a 2k purchase that the bonding would be covered.
She told me it actually isn’t bonded but leatherette which is better made. Here is where I made my mistake, she said, "Yes that is covered." Now I accepted her word even though I knew she was lying to me about having to buy the extended plan. My wife did not want to buy the plan but I bought it anyway. Fast forward to now. The bonding wore off and I went to put in a claim, GUESS what is not covered under the plan. Unbelievable, I will never buy at Rooms to Go again. I guess associates will do whatever they have to get the plans and managers will look the other way on how they keep their numbers up. I hope the commission the associate got on the plan was worth it and she was a very convincing liar.
I just hope that my review helps other make an informed decision on buying at Rooms to Go and I hope if you do buy you don’t waste your money on the extended plan. They clearly look for ways to not honor the plan and they don’t stand behind the product they sell. The sectional was delivered in October and showed signs of the bonding coming off in November, I was just lazy and didn’t call until yesterday to file a claim. There are too many other options to buy furniture, so make sure you don’t make the mistake I made. Now I have a sectional that looks like crap and will have to replace it after a year of use. I know where I won’t be going.

I purchased the Beatrice Gray Nightstand, and it was delivered and set-up in September 2024. My mother passed away, so I didn't have time to inspect and assumed the item was new. After a few weeks of returning, I was in the guest room working on my mother obituary. I happen to look and notice a crack in the lower left corner drawer. Nobody has been in this room because I just had moved to this location. This was part of the reason I made the purchase. Making a long story short. They assemble the drawer cracked and now I have to wait 90 days. I will never purchase with Rooms To Go again. I normally purchase furniture at Value City. I thought Rooms To Go had some really nice styles and I'm not taking that away from them. It's just if your items need repairing or replace it takes forever. No need in asking me to call or contact because I've done that already.

I ordered the popular Hello Kitty Vanity Chair. I went into a store and was told to order it online. I did. I ordered it on 12/6 and told it would deliver 7-10 days. Now today no order and no shipment. It’s back ordered until late January/early February. I even called last week asking and was told not to worry that it would be here on time. When I called today, it was simply it won’t be there and do you want to keep the order or cancel. There’s nothing we can do. My advice: don’t ever order from one of their 3rd party vendors because they won’t take responsibility and they won’t make it right. They’ll just ask you if you want to cancel it. Thanks again Go for ruining this Christmas.

Don’t purchase furniture here. 8 hours late on the delivery, poor handling of the furniture, and they left behind trash inside and outside the apartment. Customer service department is dysfunctional… hopping back and forth due to miscommunication internally. They didn’t refund the 150 dollar delivery fee while disregarding all the reasons mentioned above.

I purchased furniture from Rooms to Go December 2024. Within the first three months our pillows went flat on the couch and loveseat. We were having to start flipping them by August. They sent a tech out to look at the furniture and she advised them that we needed replacement seat cushions, and back cushions for both the couch and loveseat. I spoke to the store who told me it could take up to 90 days. We are now in December and I am still waiting, every time I call they keep saying we are just waiting for the shipment. After complaining, it has been four months already now I am being told possibly estimated time of arrival is the end of February 2025. This is getting ridiculous. I will never purchase anything from rooms to go again. The quality is horrible and the customer service is worse. The people are nice, but the company obviously does not care once they get our money.

Rent to own contract is a scam to make you keep paying on poor quality furniture. I bought a bed for my daughter and a playstation 3. I paid most of balance on each only leaving a 500. & 450.00 balance = 950.00. Year later balance is 1000.00 and I have been paying 220.00 per month from July-November. Total paid 1,100.00. I paid more than the monthly payments, where did the money go, it's a total scam.... Am going over with a hidden camera and expose them,

I used buy at Rooms to Go, but the last 2 experiences was really bad, I got 2 different sofas sets in store in Orlando FL, they delivered it in 2 different delivery, the first that brought the small sofa came on the right time, but the sofa had a small damage, when I complained the delivery guy said me to complain with the store, and the other was suppose to be on 18th, so one hour before they said me they wouldn't be able to made the delivery and had no idea when it would happen… all that 5 days before Christmas, so probably I will receive several people at my place with no sofa, my order number is **, I'm soooooooo upset with the rooms to go, I will never buy there again, and I never will recommend them!!! Totally disrespectful with the clients!!!

The inspector from RTG said there is nothing they will do and even had to call RTG and answer after they reviewed it over 5 business days.

Never buy any care plan from Rooms to Go especially with Fortegra as they will never replace or repair any damage and you have to call them many times to get disconnected and disappointed, I had a coffee stains on my sofa and I have filed a claim to fix it. Coffee stains are clearly covered under the policy and even Service guy visited to to fix it and suggested this can not be fixed and you can go for replacement. But at the last rooms to go denied my claim saying it's overall discoloration and we can not cover this. As as customer I feel like helpless and thinking why I paid unnecessary money for extended coverage.

I have purchased several rooms of furniture from Rooms To Go on a budget. Cheap price, cheap furniture. The first piece from the Outlet, had a hole in the back of the drawer that was hidden in showroom. Second, I had to have a mattress replaced twice in a year for breakdown beyond acceptable levels, third a sofa/loveseat/recliner set sold and advertised as “top grain leather” that touches body is absolutely NOT LEATHER. I discolored, peeled, cracked and within a year I had to have it exchanged. The new unit...same thing in THREE WEEKS. Anyone that knows leather, knows this is not true leather. False advertising to the max. Will never purchase anything there again. Beware of false claims!!!

This will be my last purchase ever. Furniture is just a year, material the set you can mix and match pieces. I spent for 4 armchairs, 1 console, and 1 center stand with warranty around $4,000. Warranty was approx $100 each piece, absolutely useless. I have very worn looking Furniture that honestly isn't even sat on too often. I put a claim in and the unhelpful, useless rep called. First tried saying the tech cleaned a stain. The tech came, took pictures, and was out in 5 minutes. I'm told wear is not covered and I would be mailed a replacement part for a console. I'm not a repair person. Don't waste your time or money here!! I've always bought here and never had such lousy service and Furniture. I asked my warranty money be refunded and OH they'll prorate their useless policy. Thieves!!!

Delivery scheduled 1-5pm. Call at 7pm that I am next. Call at 9pm on their way. 10pm I get a call and obvious they only speak Spanish plus I get a text in Spanish saying they are at the road. My husband meets them at the driveway to show them where to go. They take a picture & leave. I call care service next morning and the driver reported it couldn't be delivered because there was no contact. Still waiting for a call back to resolve but seriously thinking of looking elsewhere.

I wanted to ship my grandma in FL a gift card after the hurricanes. She told me about this store so I was going to send her a gift card since we are in IL. They only send out physical gift cards vs an online code. I was okay with this because online it let me order the card with my credit card and ship it to my grandma's mailing address. Well, it took over a month of us waiting for her to receive it, which she never did. We reached out to the company who said it was en route. Then I noticed on my credit statement they issued me a refund for the amount I paid.. We reached out again and they stated they can only ship the card to the billing address so I needed to ship the card to my house in IL to then mail the card myself to FL. The full ordeal took about 6 weeks start to finish and I was happy to get a refund but the whole process seems slow and archaic. We ended up going with a different company for my Grandma.

I purchased a mattress and foundation from Rooms To Go in Grapevine, TX and arranged for a delivery in Allen. On the Friday afternoon before the scheduled Monday delivery I got an automated call confirming that the delivery would occur Monday some time between 7am and 11am. A delivery as early as 7am was not feasible, the instructions on the automated call said to stay on the line to make any changes which I did. A live person picked up the line and identified himself as "Customer Care". I asked him if he could change the delivery to an afternoon and he said he could not. I asked him to ensure the delivery would be after 9am, he said he could not. He asked me if I wanted to change the date, which would be a week later. I said "yes" as long as he could arrange a delivery anytime after 9am, he said he could not.
He then informed me that my delivery had been scheduled as the first stop, and due to the way they load the trucks and schedule the delivery routes it would always be one of the first stops, So I contacted the store and they told me they had a contracted delivery guy who could accommodate my schedule, and also pick up the old bed and haul it away. But when the deliver guy contacted me, he said he would only take cash payment AND he did not haul away the old items. At that point I called my Salesman and told him to please cancel the order and refund my full payment. I called the following day and he confirmed the money had been fully refunded. Now, 10 days later, it has NOT been refunded.

The worst company ever! Do not buy a single thing from them, everything is delivered damaged and then you have to go through constant hell of replacements that will also come defective and then service tech will come out and make a verdict that it's not defective and you will be stuck with hob goblin poorly assembled furniture. Ikea is better than this crap. Cardboard boxes are better than RTG crap. And don't be fooled that if you buy expensive stuff, it will not be defective! It's all defective!!!! And for some stupid reason I can't add photos to my review.

Needed couch asap, upcoming hosting. Did sales process online and went to pay. Talked to sales rep about black friday deals, rep sent me deal and link to email to pay for the order. While paying, he clarified that upon review the couch would come split, one not until 2025 and suggested a diff couch that was available. never seen this couch so we went to nearest location 45 mins away since we had already spent time with sales rep we wanted to complete a purchase and take a look at the couch to check size in person. Not to buy but to look at the couch. Multiple reps approached but we declined bc we had an online agent already. 4th or 5th agent asked how they could help (there were too many agents walking around looking for customers). We explained that we’re trying to compare the size of our original couch. He helped, we told him he could send the link to pay online and we will decide later. We left.
Due to time constraints we eventually decided on couch and paid via email link. Set up pickup arrangement ($) at a warehouse 1 hr away and waited 2hr for the couch despite arriving for pickup at 6. To our dismay the purchase came with a defect as the bottom of a key piece was ripped open material dragging and the inside of the couch exposed. We decided the poor construction was not worth the $4k* paid, time wasted nor time required to coordinate a solution. Plus it was shedding and we agreed with bad reviews for this couch on rooms to go site. Requested return. Online sales have 48 hours return policy. Store informed us it is considered a store sale, they don’t have the same online policy and it will be no return even with defect and that they would only allow exchange of the defective piece of sectional but I'd have to pickup or they’d come out to repair likely after holidays.
This was too late for my hosting starting on 11/26 plus I felt cheated to not have received satisfactory quality to begin. After seeing the exposed insides, it’s not good quality. Don’t even want it. They eventually had a manager call me to say no returns but that they can send a new piece 27th. So I’ll be exchanging couches out while company is here. One questionable quality couch for another and my company will be covered in cheap couch fur. Had 4 more rooms to complete in my new home but I won’t shop Rooms to Go again. They are operating like a yard sales operation instead of a reputable business that makes sure their customers are paying for top quality. 4k+ down the drain.

Ordered 3 chairs. Assembling the first and the leg splits. Terrible quality. The other 2 are unopened and I want to return all 3. After about an hour of answering their stupid questions and sending pictures, they told me I would get a decision by email in 3-5 days telling me if my return will be accepted. Totally unacceptable. I wish I could give a minus star review.

Me and my husband came into the store. To purchase a Stearns & Foster mattress. We were told by Alexia **. The sales associate that if we purchased the mattress we would get a $300 credit, we picked a pillow out. She told me we could pick the pillow up. Any day after the purchase was made at the store and the mattress would be delivered to our home a week or two later. Today three guys showed up in a Rooms To Go truck. I live on 6 acres. My garage is at least one half Mile from the street. They parked the truck in the street. I asked them to pull up in the Driveway, the guy told me that he's had too many Accidents in people's yards that he preferred to park in the street. And that was okay until only one skinny Little guy tried to carry my King says mattress from the street to my garage. He almost dropped it. I have a video. I'm going to post it here if it will let me. If not it will be on social media.
The big guy Is seen in the picture. You can see his back. They're carrying the mattress back to the truck. That's After the guy dragged it on the rocks all the way down My driveWay to my garage. When I asked to see it and have them Open it so I can see there wasn't Any damage, the bigger guy Told the little guy, "Let's take it back to the truck." I said what? Really? I told him this was ridiculous. I paid 3300 for it.
Long story short, they took it back to their truck. Threw it over my fence and then 2 guys put it in their truck. I don't know why 2 guys didn't carry it down my driveway instead of one God dragging it and the big God, not offering to help. I have all of this on video now. I'm trying to get online with Rooms to Go and get my money back. They're giving me the runaround because of a free pillow that was given to me that I actually got on the day of drop off..
Beware of this company. Oscar at the Killeen store and Francis **online supervisor Have both been completely worried about their 299 dollar pillow? It's been 6 hours. I've gotten emails and calls about the pillow but not one person has said anything about my refund. What's crazy is they made a skinny guy. Carry the mattress king size all the way to my garage but when I asked them to open it so I could make sure there was no damage and they decided to take it back without opening It for me to see it. You can see clearly in this picture that Two guys put it in their truck, why couldn't two Carry it in my garage where it didn't drag on the ground???

Back in August, my husband and I picked out a sofa that we absolutely loved and had it delivered. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the sofa and the leather was all messed up. Without any question Rooms to Go delivered another sofa again. The sofa was messed up, so we had to get another One delivered after the third one, we said, okay, it seems that there is a problem with this sofa, so we picked another one.
Once again, that's sofa was defective, so we didn't keep it. It turned out the manufacturer who was shipping them was not wrapping them correctly. In the end, we had to get a refund because we could not find anything else there in leather that we liked or that was in our price range. The reason for the five stars is. You can tell how a company does business. When there are issues or problems. The manager at the Ocala store, whose name is mark, was very helpful. We also dealt with corporate, who also was very helpful. In the end, I would certainly purchase from them again. Maybe not a leather sofa, not until they get that manufacturing straightened out, but I highly recommend rooms to go.

We’ve purchased an electrical reclining sofa that has been constantly been breaking. Technicians have came out several times & even picked up the sofa to be repaired for it to do the same thing (be stuck in a reclining position). Now they just want to replace the sofa & give us no warranty. Our concern is the sofa will break just like the one we have & we won’t have warranty for cover it all the times it breaks.

Bought a Purple Mattress, got it warrantied because it was a piece of junk. Upgraded to a more expensive brand with better reviews. The manager tells me they have to pick the old one up before the new one can be delivered on 11/26/24. I ask if it could be delivered earlier and but that was it, she would try to get an earlier delivery but that means it won't happen. If I had known this before I dealt with Rooms to Go I would have went to Gallery Furniture where they make arrangements for their customers. I have been sleeping on a horrible mattress and thought by doing this I would receive service right away, wrong. Never again.

I purchased a sofa recently from R2G. Went to the showroom, but they didn't have the chaise lounge I wanted, only the couch. It was delivered to my apartment but after a week, I was completely dissatisfied. Thankfully, they agreed to replace it since I wasn't able to try out the couch before purchase. What they didn't tell me is there would be a $308 dollar restocking fee. I found another chaise lounge that I liked, it was delivered....everything has worked out well, until I noticed the $308 restocking fee on my statement. I went back into the store and spoke with the staff, they stated a restocking fee is always a part of returning merchandise, my gripe is that I was never told about it. Unfortunately, they repeated over and over, their policy is their policy.

I bought a sofa recliner 3 years ago and it just stopped working. Called "customer care" and spoke to Andy. My question was "is there a reset switch". He didn't know but said he would get back to me. He didn't. Called again, he would get back to me. He didn't. Went to the store, they told me call "customer care", who told me to go to the store. No one offered me any help, because warranty is over AND no one in the organization knows if there is a reset switch somewhere under the sofa. So I guess the answer from RTG is "oh well".

You would think that when you buy furniture online from Rooms To Go that you would be getting the same service as you would get from the in-person shopping, I learned the hard way that NOOOO you get the worst service ever. When you invest around 2K to buy furniture and add assembly fees at check out. You will learn that there is something called shipped from Vendor which is something you are not aware of. When my furniture was delivered by UPS the driver literally throws my furniture boxes on the side of the road In front of our house because it's too heavy, the boxes are in a rough shape, I wait for the rest of the furniture which is delivered by Rooms to go crew.
When I ask about assembly, they tell me they don't do it for furniture delivered from vendor, I wait for my off day and open the boxes to find that they are scratched and broken and missing hardware or part of the furniture. You missed the 48 hours return window and customer care don't deal with online purchase. So, you are stuck with furniture that you have no idea if you can return or replace, and it is also not functioning because of missing pieces and hardware. Your house is messy because of the boxes that you have no idea if you need to keep them or not. The worst experience so far.

Customer service is horrible, they've delivered the wrong item to my home 3 times, as of right now, a supervisor should've have reachbout to me with an update of my most likely wrong delivery and no call. They don't follow up as promised, spoke with a supervisor yesterday at 5:14pm and was told, you not getting the item tomorrow, and I need to go home, so someone else will call you. Meantime, I have the wrong sofa (in a box) in my living room. Will NEVER use RTG again. Wasted $4000

Bought a sectional Feb. 23, 24. Had to replace 3 reclining mechanisms, total of 6 service calls. Parts were not available, so on July 24, 24 exchanged sectional for couch and love seat with dual recliners. So today Nov 14, 24 we had our first service call, technician had to order a new recliner mechanism.

I purchased a Palm Grove White 5 piece queen bedroom suite, the furniture looks nice but there is a problem with the bedside tables and the dresser. In a word they STINK. To the point where they’re totally unusable for storing clothing. As soon as I open a drawer, there is this smell that comes out that is terrible. And any clothing that is in the drawer has that smell. I’ve tried baking soda and it doesn’t even touch the smell. There is nothing in my home (such as humidity, etc) that would cause this. It’s only the furniture from RTG. No other furniture in my home has this stench.

We purchased our 2 recliners and 2 seater recliner over a year ago and already had 1 replaced and 2 fixed and are broken again! Thank goodness we purchased a warranty through them! Paid >$5K for these 4 pieces and we have regretted it since the second breakdown. Beware of purchasing the Rossini reclining sets or any RTG reclining furniture!

The store was ok. The delivery and the corporate customer care representative has been horrible. They delivered the $1k table weeks late and then the table came missing the required pieces for the delivery techs to put the table together. The table has been sitting with pieces scattered all over the floor of my kitchen. Customer care said they would order the pieces needed and ship them to our house and then have the delivery techs come back out to put the table together....
Well the missing pieces came and they were completely the wrong pieces!! So I called customer care again and told them that this was unacceptable and that at this point I don't want the table anymore. Customer care said I could not return the table even though they haven't completed their delivery. My only choice is to suck it up and wait for another 10 days for another attempt to correct this issue. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS company. The customer care is terrible to say the least!!!

I purchased 2 full mattress, 1 queen mattress and queen headboard, footboard, rails and queen bunkie board on 4th Oct. They delivered after 1 day. I realized that the queen size is not enough for me and husband. I called the store before assemble the bed and told my problem. But they told me, "You have to call after 1 month." Yesterday I went to the store but nobody help me. They told, "We can change your mattress to the king size but can’t change bed frame." Because of their non refund policy. I explained them, "I called but you told me I have to call after 1 month. But it isn’t work." I heard Rooms To Go is the best for furniture. So I trust and bought something. But I never heard before no refund policy anywhere. I really disappointed. Customer satisfaction should come first. And now I am not happy. Bed frame also came with 2 pieces of cracks. Don't want to shop from you again.

So my experience with Rooms to Go was great except for Rooms to Go kids but I blame that on the rep my then the store. The problem I have is with their finance. The first 2 payments were rejected and they charged me 30 dollars each time on top of a late fees even though I had to give my checking account info to make the payment. Since finding that out I now call a live agent and Pay by debit which is frustrating but the only way as app and online only allow for checking info. Here we are 3 months since purchase and they canceled my account claiming the missed payments violate their service agreement. I'm just glad all I bought was a chair.

After 3 days of delivery, we already noticed stains settle in the material after even using the leather cleaner that came with it. I called customer support to report the issue, and they sent a technician to clean it. 3 days later I saw more stains on the same section and other places too. I went to the store to claim a return and they said, no return. We can dispatch a technician to replace the section of the sofa. After all these issues I canceled a second order of a bedroom, and I have 2 months waiting for the refund. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. NO REFUNDS. Buy somewhere else.

I bought a leather sofa and loveseat from Rooms To Go 9 months ago. The color of the leather is wearing off. I now have a cream-colored loveseat with a gray spot showing. When I called customer support they told me that it wasn't covered because it's normal wear. So that tells me that Rooms To Go is telling me that their furniture is built to only last 8 to 9 months. So my advice to any of the thousands of people looking to buy new furniture, especially leather definitely to look to a more reputable store. Hope this helps some people out.

I purchased a Cindy Crawford couch for my daughter Nove 2023, They were away for 4 months after the purchase with no one in the house (only 2 persons) live there. My daughter told me in aug the couch material was poor as it seems to be falling apart. I reached out to RTG and they sent a technician. He said he would have the report and RTG would contact me. Well I had to call them 2 days ago and was told there is nothing they can do as this is 'pillin" pulling. I don't know what the CS agent was saying other than they are not responsible and I should look on the internet to see how to care for the couch. That was not what was told when we purchased the care package! A total slap in the face. I cannot believe after 6 months of use with an almost 3k couch you tell me this crap. I spent over 10k on that day and would never shop at RTG again!!!

Don't get the warranty. They will try to sell it to you, and when you need something fix or replace they advise you that it's not covered, very disappointed, will never buy from them again. Don't get fooled by the sales people. It's their job to push things on you.

I purchased a sectional sofa, along with the extended warranty, that has three recliners. About a little over a month, one of the recliners stopped working. I filed a claim to repair the recliner, and I have not been able to get it repaired. When I call Rooms To Go, they tell me to call Guardian, the warranty people. When I call Guardian, they tell me to call Rooms To Go. It has been very frustrating trying to get my sofa repaired. I am beginning to regret my entire purchase. Going forward, I will not make another purchase from Rooms To Go!!!

We bought a sofa and recliner on October 5th, 2024, in Arlington, Texas... When they delivered on Wednesday, they found out they didn't have the legs for the sofa, the driver called the office and said they have to "order" the legs. They binded up the sofa, left it in the living room and said they will be back later in the day with the legs, or we can get our money back, so we took their word for it and said we will keep it. So, Friday we didn't hear from them and talked to a slimy manager who said he isn't going to rebate any money for our inconvenience, nor, can we return the sofa, and now it's going to be next week before they fix the legs. In the meantime, we have this huge couch blocking half of the living room... just overall bad customer service.

I don’t recommend Rooms To Go to anyone at all. You are wasting your money if you buy something from rooms Togo specially from the store located at Franklin TN. It is the worst material ever and the worst service. My new bedroom is scratched and look like used and no one care of communicate with you. They are just trying to waste your time by asking for more photos every while and without any decision to take their trash furniture or change. If you care about your money don’t buy anything from rooms Togo. Even their customer service doesn’t care about you.

I just took delivery. One item was damaged coming out the box. I was told by delivery driver it would be replaced sooner if I kept it and called customer service. Not true. Keeping it meant I have no way of being refunded. What I found out after calling customer service there is no refund or exchange. My options if I kept the product I only get 34 bucks back and voids the replacement option on the product which is less than what was paid for the warranty. I say, "I took off work to accommodate this" and they tell me we can bring another in a week but no way to schedule a time which means I have to take off again. Either way it goes I lose money. Very poor company and service! RTG has lost any future business from me.

Rooms To Go - Scam & Total Disappointment! I had the worst experience with Rooms To Go. They delivered the incorrect furniture and refused to refund or take the package back, even though I immediately informed the delivery team that it was the wrong order. To make matters worse, the delivery driver forged my signature to falsely claim that the furniture was delivered and accepted, which is completely unethical and fraudulent.
After contacting Rooms To Go, they initially refused to offer any refund, despite the fact that the sales representative made the mistake. After escalating the issue to corporate, I was finally told I would get a refund and a replacement. However, when I followed up, I was informed that I would have to keep the incorrect furniture and could only receive a measly $297 credit.
This company is a scam! Their customer service is awful, and their business practices are completely unacceptable. I urge others to be cautious and reconsider purchasing from Rooms To Go. I plan to report this to the Better Business Bureau (BBB). This has been an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience. Stay away!

Customer service on the extended warranty is a joke. They sent a tech to look at a broken piece. I was told it would be replaced and I’d get a call within the week. No one called. Had to call over and over again then was told my claim was denied as it was outside the warranty window. Absolutely deplorable.

Purchase a dresser and two night stands online. The two night stands were ok. The first dresser was defective. Top drawer broken, so I checked the dresser before the delivery left so they took pictures to let the company know that the dresser was broken so I was told to keep the defective drawer and it would be replaced in a week, and I agreed. They deliver the other drawer within a week, it had a broken bottom drawer, so I informed them that apparently there is a manufacture problem with this dresser and I will keep the night just credit my charge card for the $799.99 for the dresser.
I was informed that I would have to have informed within 2 days that I wanted my charge card credit. I let them know I did not ask for the credit because I was giving the them benefit of doubt. So as of today I am stuck with a $799.99 dresser with a broken bottom drawer and paying $799.99 plus tax on this defective drawer, but this is not the end, I will take them to court if I have to. I remember there was a lawsuit a $13.5 million class action settlement for the upholstery protection plan I paid for and never did receive my payment for it. Rooms To Go you will not rip me off a second time.

HORRIBLE- furniture is garbage. Even worse, customer service was rude and downright insulting. I purchased a couch for $2500 LESS than 8 months ago, the fabric is shredding. I filed a complaint, they told me someone would be out to look, no one came or called. I called back and a supervisor told me it would be a waste of their time! Then she told me it is not Rooms To Go responsibility for the upkeep of my furniture as if to say I don’t take care of my home! This representative should be let go. DON'T BUY FROM THEM.

In the last 5 years we have purchased 2 sets of reclining couches from Rooms To Go. The first set motor went out on one of the couches within 2 years and it was a discontinued items. Because we bought extra warranty, it was replaced in full. Now the second set, 2.5 years later, the manual mechanism has gone out. Under warranty but now taking almost 2 months to repair. Sent pictures of part needed and they still sent technician out WITHOUT the part. Waited over a month for appointment and now another 2-4 weeks for repair. DO BETTER ROOMS TO GO!

I’ve been buying furniture from RTG for 25 years. No longer will I do so. Horrible experience purchasing two chairs online. First chair arrived. Color NOT as shown on website. Wanted to return it. UPS Ground charges would be over $400!! The chair cost $519! I stopped delivery of second chair and hopefully will receive a refund. I will have to take a loss on the first delivered chair. Furniture balls up after 3 months, talked to customer service and was told it's normal wear and tear. Called and talked to 2 Managers 4 times and nothing. I can't even get them to call me back. I will never buy from them again. Oh and I was told to shave my couches. Bad service and bad quality

I would give the customer service for this company 0 stars if I could! We purchased 4 outdoor swivel chairs and a coffee table for our patio. 13 months later, we called for service because the base of one of the swivel chairs was malfunctioning. A tech came out and said he would order a new base. Just over a week later, we received a call stating they no longer make the set and could not repair it. We were told to go to the store to choose another set.
At the store, we were told we had to spend the $4,319, which was our total before sales tax, delivery, and the warranty which we purchased for the first set. We found a new set and we're told we needed to pay sales tax again, for a new warranty again, AND delivery!! The store wasn't helpful but told us to call customer service to have the delivery deducted. After speaking with several people at customer service, we reached the manager. She was the absolute rudest individual we could have spoken with!! We explained that the delivery drivers had to pick the damaged furniture up and should not have to pay another delivery charge. We shouldn't have had to pay sales tax again. She was rude, sarcastic, and didn't give a damn. WE WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM ROOMS TO GO AGAIN AND WILL DETER OUR FRIENDS FROM DOING THE SAME!!

We purchased 2 lift chairs due to health issues. Even paid for extended warranty. One stopped working. Faulty motor. 20 phone calls and emails later (over 90 days since first call). NO repair. NO new motor. I keep getting the “it’s been ordered” runaround. Very disappointed.

This couch is from a Cindy Crawford Collection… Yea a complete joke…with no laughter. The second couch…had to be delivered smh… Mind you it does not give off a new couch smell at all. The pillows are worn down looking & very much two toned… While observing the color disorientation I realized the fabric is worn having a look of constant rubbing. Not to mention they are disfigured, flat, & and don’t have a new smell. I don’t even feel safe allowing my grandchildren to lay on them. This process has been completely nerve-racking. As I have mentioned this is my second couch. The first one was beginning to sink on the extended part of the sofa making it a sleeper sofa after a few sits…
This purchase was/is stressing me completely out & at this point I need to seek legal action. As far as The customer service team/department they are the worst… horrible beings ever… They lie… They make you feel like…Welp… You brought this junk so you keep it …It’s not our fault you chose to buy it. But it is your company’s fault because your company is putting the cheapest band aids on outdated, used furniture & selling it off as new. They do not provide corporate information. They would rather give you the run around & transfer you to individuals that have no authority that lie like they do just to repeat what the CSR informed you of prior to the transfer. I would NEVER recommend anyone to purchase anything from here, however what I do recommend is for Rooms to Go…out of business!

I recently purchased living room furniture, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience, especially with the salesperson who assisted me. So a year & 1/2 ago we got a bedroom set from Rooms To Go for over $5,000 with the mattress. A year & week after I pulled the bed away from the wall to clean behind it and I found (pic 1) the wood was all cracked in the back rail. I called up to see about the insurance and they said it is not covered because I was a week after my one year of Rooms To Go warranty.
So we went down to the store and spoke to the woman in the office and she said first of all, she doesn’t know too many people moving their bed away from the wall or any furniture to clean behind it, including herself. She sent a letter to the main office and I got a phone call a week later telling me the extended warranty won’t cover it. So today I moved my tall piece of furniture to clean behind it (pic 2) and as you can see, they crack the backboard and hid it. The furniture was checked over when they were done, but only what you can see who would think to move the furniture away from the walls. I will never buy from you again and I will let everyone I know not to!!

Bought a manual reclining couch from Rooms to Go. Had it for about 6 months and the reclining mechanisms broke. They did bring out a new couch after many calls. The second one now has also broke, same issue. They will not help you in anyway, since my warranty ran out in January. The couch is only 2 years old and has broken twice. GARBAGE quality. The cost was around $2000 so maybe not top end but not bottom either. I have had many couches in my life and never have had an issue. I would never shop Rooms to Go again. Subpar inventory.

I would never buy anything else from Rooms To Go. My experience with them has been just very ugly. First of all it took me almost a year to get my bedroom set then when deliver. It had to wait another four weeks for my mattress and they messed up my wall and the Rooms To Go just gonna pay me $120 for a damage wall that I had to repaint. And to top it off. My mattress is not over two years old and is coming apart because I had put baking soda on my mattress. They said they could not take my warranty into consideration that they foot my warranty. Every chance I get I will post stuff about Rooms To Go is awful. I would never ever recommend anybody to buy anything from them and then they default on the warranty.

Updated on 09/09/2024: After speaking with the manager I continued ventilation in my home. Helps but it starts again when the house heats up. Didn't want the hassle of a return. Decided to keep it. RTG should make this issue known to customers beforehand.
Original Review: Great store. Love the furniture I bought. Customer service was excellent. My only negative is the furniture smells really bad. Not good for my asthma. Was unaware of this issue. Would not have bought it had I known. Beware if you have breathing problems. Told it could take up to 2 years to get rid of the smell. Wouldn't recommend plastic furniture. Don't know if I can return it.

I went to the Port Richey Rooms to Go store and my salesman, Bert, was amazing! I told him what I had looked at online and wanted to purchase it. Unfortunately, their store didn't carry that particular living room set, but assured me that if I didn't like it because it was unseen that I had 48 hours to return it. Then I said I wanted a dresser/tv stand for the bedroom. Again, he didn't have the dresser on site, but did have something similar to it. What I saw was beautiful. He listened to everything I had to say and did all the hard work for me. When my delivery came, I couldn't have been more happier with his suggestion - it IS SOOO BEAUTIFUL! He made it all happen for me and maneuvered my delivery date to accommodate me, too. Thanks, Bert! You will always be my Rooms to Go Salesman!! You're amazing... Thanks, again!

Their customer service is terrible and the furniture is cheaply made! We bought a mattress two years ago and it already has lumps in it. The mattress was discontinued so they only gave me 30 days to get a new one and the mattresses were way more than what I paid! They want me to pay another $500 for another mattress. Ummm noooo! Why would I buy another mattress when this one only lasted two years and we aren’t big people. I hope you don’t get caught in this scam of their products lasting more 3 years!

Room To Go and Fortegra is a blatant deception. When I made my purchase, Room To Go store staff assured me that if I bought the extra insurance from Fortegra, it would cover me in case of being scratched by a ballpoint pen or nail polish or burned by a cigarette. Since I have small children at home, I bought the extended insurance package for 3 years. But now the insurance won't cover my case. This is a blatant deception. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent handling of my insurance claim. My name is Khanh **, and I am a customer who purchased insurance for my furniture through Rooms to Go. Recently, an unfortunate incident occurred in which my child accidentally drew on our sofa with a ballpoint pen.
According to the insurance policy that I purchased, coverage is supposed to include accidental damage caused by ink from a ballpoint pen. However, when I filed a claim to address the damage, it was unexpectedly denied. I was quite surprised and disappointed by this decision, as it contradicts the terms outlined in the policy. I kindly request a review of my case and an explanation for the denial of my claim. It is important to me that the terms of the insurance I purchased are honored, and that accidental damage, such as this one, is covered as stated.

We purchased a double electric recliner from RTG. Not even 2 yrs ago. The material has worn out on one side of the sofa. Called the warranty company, they said normal wear and tear. So we called RTG customer service. What a joke of a place. The supervisor that I spoke with Selina, has no business in customer service. She actually laughed at my situation. How rude... They will not take any responsibility for their cheap WALMART furniture. I saw their ratings 1.8 lol. We paid extra for the fake warranty. Buyer BEWARE. Their furniture is junk. How does a not even 2 yr old couch wear out . We have no dogs or children in the house. You probably would be a lot better off shopping at IKEA or a used furniture store. With their cheap furniture and horrible customer service, they won't be in business long. I never in my long life ever had a couch wear out in less than 2 yrs... JUNK, JUNK, JUNK....

We bought the leather set less than 3 years ago. The underside started to just split last year, we tried to keep it from getting worse. Now the other side of the couch is starting to split. This couch is not being abused, it’s just my husband and I. I take care of it cleaning it when necessary with a mild cleaner. The top part that is leather we have no issues. Whatever they use for the underneath, that does show by the way the couch is assembled is crap! I knew nothing of an extended warranty. So it’s over a year and out of luck. What junk.!

Sales experience and sales rep, Gina, TOP NOTCH! Many visits, multiple purchases. One delivery revealed missing hardware, and delivery tech help modify and since it was the back side, no problem, and we waited many months and didn’t want to wait again, so accepted. THEN, subsequent delivery of an item with a MAJOR issue, tech sent, he was appalled delivery crew didn’t encourage rejection. It’s a desk with a drawer that can’t open. He made it so it can open, but it can’t close without forcefully jiggly it. At $900, tolerated, but went by there today to check, and display FREELY FLOWS opening and closing! Their offer? ANOTHER TECH! My acceptable solution? Another desk!

I 4recliner and to also add another piece of furniture, I had to wait over a month and when it came time for delivery the time frame of delivery was back and forth and when I got home to meet them they pull off. I couldn’t get in touch with the delivery team. They also would not come back and attempt to bring the furniture even after I talked to customer services. Customer service supposed to had called me back with details. I called two days in a row and no return call until the third day of me wanting to speak with a manager but they had no one higher than a supervisor, the same one that was supposed to had called me back.
Then I learned that the furniture I ordered was not waiting for to be delivered to me they gave it away to someone else after waiting over a month and told me I needed to order it again and wait another month and a half. They even had the nerve to give me attitude while telling me, I don’t know what is going with employees giving customers the service they deserve. And to give away your purchase.

Sales people are lovely and professional. Management is horrible. Rooms To Go is trash. I spent thousands of dollars on furniture and it was sent when I wasn't home, they were to exchange broken furniture sold to me and I had to wait a week. They took the broken furniture which was a sofa and couldn't fit the new chaise in my door, so they took both items and left me with nothing. I had to sleep on an air mattress from Walmart. Imagine that....Now, my replaced furniture is coming in a week. The manager with the bald head was rude, did not do anything to satisfy the situation and had an attitude as if something was done wrong to him. I will never purchase furniture from them again.

If you are interested in purchasing upholstered furniture from Rooms to Go DON'T. We bought our sectional 18 months ago and the cuddler seat cushion has a huge indentation due to inadequate filling. We took the warranty offered and have been told it does not cover “cushion resiliency" even though the service person they sent told me they would be sending new filling. Got a call this morning telling me corporate office denied the claim. Now stuck with an expensive relatively newer sectional that looks awful. Bye bye rooms to go. You should bid farewell too.

We purchased a leather sectional recliner set, for our family room. Our sales women, sold us a warranty, stating the warranty, covers anything that happens to our furniture. Our sectional was delivered 2 weeks later.. I noticed the color fading after about a month, we have no kids, no pets. I called the store, spoke to our sales woman. She said, "Oh yes I remember you, you have a warranty." I called the warranty company, they sent someone out took photos,. Called me 3 days later to inform me, the discoloration is wear and tear..NOT COVERED UNDER OUR WARRANTY.
I called the sale woman back. She stated, "That's not true. Warranty covers everything." I called warranty back, received same news. Rooms To Go is a rip off, the furniture is only for decoration not for use. I also purchased furniture for my formal living room, I cancelled the delivery. I will never spend another dime at Rooms To Go.. I hope customers beware. Please see my photo.

I ordered patio furniture online. Website was slow so I called and rep placed my order. I ordered 4 rugs along with furniture and we discussed that I would return ones I did not like. When I went to store to return, I was told no returns accepted and to contact store they shipped from. I called sales rep at least 8 times and he would not return or accept my calls. Management always at lunch at all times of the day. I am stuck with $500 of rugs I do not want. I have yet to get my furniture because they did not notify me of delivery and just showed up when I was not home then I waited over 2 hours for next attempt. I live 20 minutes from warehouse and was the first stop. Buyer beware when doing business with Rooms To Go. Not worth any savings and lots of other places to buy from that care about customer service

After a lot of thought, my husband and I decided to buy a sofa and loveseat from RTG in Raleigh. The salesman was ok, like most all over the place trying to make a buck, which is understandable. We decided on the Melbourne Drew and Jonathan sofa and loveseat in Midnight blue. We bought the extended warranty and got a delivery date. The delivery guys came in fierce shoving the couch through my front door ripping the plastic off of the sofa. I asked them to chill and be careful, but they were in a rush. They shoved the couch in so hard that there were marks on the front door jam. Then one of the delivery men started to rip off the plastic and started kicking it away from his feet and knocked over my lamp, thank goodness, he didn't break it.
I finally yelled and said, "If you don't stop being rough and rushing, just leave." I asked them to wipe their feet because it was raining but they acted like they didn't hear me. After they left, I noticed the cushions on my sofa looked short, meaning they didn't fit right. So, I called RTG right away and a week later they brought another couch. The cushions were a better fit, however, there were missing pillows that I was supposed to get. So, I called them back and they mailed me the missing pillows, however, from another set?! Eventually, they mailed me the correct pillows that went with the couch, but the wrong amount. I called again, and they finally got it right.
After about three months of ownership, I noticed loud creaking noises when I moved on the couch. I weigh about 100 lbs. and wondered why this was happening so soon. So, I flipped the cushions around on the couch and hoped this would help. The noises started getting louder and it was obvious that the set is not made well. I called customer service, and they sent out a technician who had the personality of gum stuck on the bottom of a flip flop. He flipped the couch over, removed the staples from the back and sprayed the springs with some solution. He was in my house for about 15 minutes. He never sat on the couch to see if the problem was rectified and split quickly. After about a half hour I sat on the couch hoping the creaking noise was gone, but it was actually worse! I called customer service back and they told me that I had to wait till the tech writes up the visit and then they'll get back to me, etc.
After about 5 days of not hearing back, I called back and spoke to the customer service girl who told me that the ticket was written up and the tech fixed the problem, and the order is now complete. I found her to be rude and dismissive. I told her the order and problem is not competed. I asked for a supervisor, and she questioned why and told me they were all busy. I mentioned I called shortly after Mr. Personality left and that the problem still existed, and no one reached back out. So, here I am and finally after a little arguing and standing my ground, I was told I'm entitled to a re-select. I personally would rather get my money back but that's not RTG policy.
I am in the process of selecting something from Cindy Crawford's line and hope that the couch I think I'll choose is a better-quality item. I'm surprised that Drew and Jonathan make such poor-quality furniture. My feelings about RTG is that they make stuff that looks appealing, but the quality is just not there. I hope there are no issues with Cindy Crawford's line and if there is I'll have to address it again. It's very inconvenient and extremely disappointing and disenchanting. I'm going to write to Drew and Jonathan and tell them they should man up and make better stuff, where's their character? Reputation in my day meant much more, I guess it doesn't in this day and age, sadly.

Can I give them less than one star? We signed up to purchase a new couch. It is out of stock until November, BUT they charged our credit card immediately and said that is how every other business does it. BALONEY!! We have ordered from other companies that have products backordered and we never get charged until the item ships. Of course, if you use THEIR credit card, it doesn't get charged until delivery is set up. What a way to stack the deck, Rooms to Go!! I will NEVER use or recommend Rooms to Go again!!!

I am a regular customer of Rooms to go. I bought several furnitures from them. But now I think I am done! When I buy furniture always buy extended warranty. Never claim before. Recently I claim for stains on my both sofas purchase from them. Those sofas I purchase few months before. After long correspondence they came to my home and tried to remove stains but could not able to do it. The gentleman who came my home told me that he will report to management and they may send specialist to clean stains or they will replace the necessary portion of sofas. About 10-12 days after I got email that these kind of stains are not cover under warranty! I am very upset now.
This kind of warranty always find some Loophole not to cover warranty. I am very disappointed with their warranty support. Now I have to throw these sofas and have to buy new one. It is my fault I did not listen ClArk Howard about warranty! I will strongly recommend everyone not buy any extended warranty from Rooms to Go. Thanks. Monir ** Georgia

We were there on 08/15/2024 9am. One lady showed me around. She was amazing. Nice. Soon she got me over to the credit lady. This lady asked to check my credit. I told her I don’t want to check my credit because I will be using cash. She asked me why so I just walked out.

I visited the Rooms to Go store on 8/7/24 at 4800 S Cleveland Ave, Fort Myers, FL 33907. I sat on a couch and really liked the comfort it provided so I ordered it. Once I got home, I noticed that Rooms to Go has a No Return Policy once furniture is delivered. This seemed suspicious and prompted me to search the Company and came across thousands of negative reviews regarding how horrible their customer service is and that the quality of the furniture is not the same as what you saw and purchased in the store.
The next day, 8/8/24, I called the Fort Myers store at 239-278-3400 to cancel my item noting all of the negative reviews. The office manager eased my concerns by promising that if I do not like the furniture upon delivery that I can send it back at no charge. However, this was not possible on the day of delivery, 8/12/24, because the couch came in a box and the delivery men argued with me refusing to unbox it. Once they finally unboxed it, after talking to their manager, they hurriedly left which did not give me a chance to try sit in and try out the furniture and send it back.
Once I sat on it, I noticed that the motor/seating on the left-hand side was not behaving properly, making clicking noises, as well as the extreme discomfort of the couch. I called the store and talked to the office manager about what had happened, as well as making her aware of the faulty motor. She completely changed her tune from the first conversation on 8/8/24 and told me that it was too late to return it because the delivery men had already left, stating that they would have had to take it back on the truck for me to be able to return it and receive a refund. I asked to talk to the manager and he also stated NO Returns/Refunds but did offer to deliver a new couch which is currently scheduled for 8/22/24. I accepted his offer because he told me that this was my only option.
However, after further consideration, I decided to dispute the charge because they delivered me a couch with a faulty motor and one that is not the same as far as quality and comfort as the couch I sat on in the store. I did not get what my hard-earned money paid for and I want a refund. This should be easy for them because they have to come pick up the couch due to the faulty motor. I am not sure why they are insisting on delivering a couch that I do not want.

I am a regular customer of Rooms To Go. I bought several furnitures from them. But now I think I am done! When I buy furniture always buy extended warranty. Never claim before. Recently I claim for stains on my both sofas purchase from them. Those sofas I purchase few months before. After long correspondence they came to my home and tried to remove stains but could not able to do it. The gentleman who came my home told me that he will report to management and they may send specialist to clean stains or they will replace the necessary portion of sofas.
About 10-12days after I got email that these kind of stains are not cover under warranty! I am very upset now. This kind of warranty always find some Loophole not to cover warranty. I am very disappointed with their warranty support. Now I have to throw these sofas and have to buy new one. It is my fault I did not listen Clark Howard about warranty! My partner and I paid 9000 on several furniture pieces. Deliveries are held up forever because half our order is out of stock! RTG is happy to take our money right now and make us wait 1 month+ to deliver furniture they don't have. We're waiting on 3 out of 7 pieces of our $6,000 sectional after already waiting a month on a bedroom suite because of a backordered firebox. And the dresser we waited so long for was delivered with damaged lacquer. The delivery driver told us RTG would contact us and send us another piece. All of a sudden, they know nothing about it. When a set is backordered, we should at least have the option of ordering different furniture pieces instead.

The delivery drivers were fantastic! The Virginia Beach store was awful and rude and very belittling! I believe his name was Steve or Sean. Completely rude and very belittling too. He was arguing with back and forth and said I didn’t know what I was talking about. I have never been so disrespected in my life. I would like a call from a manager! Immediately! The way I was treated was horrible. I will never be shopping or recommending this store to anyone.

I should have read these reviews before making my purchase. I have purchased furniture before with no problem. 1st, the salesperson informed me not to worry about prescription for my husband recliner, I had plenty of time to bring into store after delivery. That was wrong info, luckily I got the prescription the morning of delivery then he tells me the store need it asap, plus for some reason when I opened the account I only used my name, so then he tells me it has to be in my husband's name since prescription is for him. I rushed out to the store after delivery was done. New problem, my husband told salesperson he did not want a recliner with lift, well that is what he got. Purchase was done 18 July 2024, delivery was done 24 July 2024, we were #9 on delivery schedule, they still had several more to do. I signed for delivery.
Today is 1 Aug 2024, we have had some medical delays this past few days. Clerk stated we have had merchandise too long (8 days???). I called the store was referred to Customer Service Dept and both departments are telling me they have a NO REFUND/RETURN POLICY, that I should have read contract upon delivery. The delivery men were in a hurry to complete their job. Clerk also stated I should read it on website, I asked what is you are in your 80's and have no computer? This is poor customer service for the amount we spent and this is not the first purchase we have done within 10 years. This is a disappointment, Will not shop Rooms to Go. Beware, especially if you are elderly without a computer! We only wanted to exchange.

My overall experience was good. I was excited for my new sofa for my newly purchased house. I purchased the Sofia Vergara section sofa navy blue. With warranty. Seams were coming undone. Called customer service. Someone came out. Took pictures. They denied my claim stating the service member stated I have a dog. Complained and ask to cancel out warranty. They replaced the sofa. The new sofa started peeling a few months after we got it. It looks horrible. And a waste of thousands of dollars. I have a credit card with Rooms To Go and have paid the sofa off. As soon as I pay off the bedroom furniture I will no longer buy from Rooms To Go.

Sadly, I have to say my experience with Rooms to Go was not so great. In 2012 my husband and I purchased a sectional, a futon, and a dining room set. In the beginning, it seemed we’d made a perfect choice in choosing to buy those pieces for RTG, but it seemed we were in for a rude awakening-both the sofa and the loveseat began to peel and flake in about two years. Luckily I opted for the extended warranty, right? No! Of course, they presented RTG stipulations in order to honor the warranty. We had to pay almost $300 to receive a new sectional from RTG (under their warranty). The new sectional started peeling, cracking, and flaking three years after receiving it!!! Needless to say, we had to purchase a new sectional today!!

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. They delivered wrong color ottoman and wrong bed which we drove three hours to pick up correct after moving all day. The Nectar mattress is horrible and they won’t exchange. They make you call nectar. They are lazy ** liars. They will lie and rip you off also so be sure and look at paperwork. I’ll never recommend anyone deal with these idiots. If they do pick up something they charge you 200 dollars. No other furniture store behaved like this bunch of trash.

I am very disappointed in Rooms to Go. I ordered a sofa in Nov 2022. That was ordered color “dark gray”. When I received the sofa it was a dark green. I was told manufacturer issue. I went to the rooms to go yesterday in Metairie, La and saw my sofa still for sale as dark gray. I was expressed that it was a manufacturer issue back in 2022. However my order says clear as day “dark gray”. I had a supervisor on the phone tell me they were going to hang up the phone now in the middle of us communicating. It’s very frustrating that people are saying my sofa is not dark green.

Worst company...got a first couch--pieces didn't match. Got a replacement couch--still doesn't match. Customer service told me I was stuck with it. Finally got corporate involved and they sent out a technician who agreed to the discrepancy but it has now been a month and I still have not heard about my new replacement. This company completely just blows off their paying customers and doesn't care at all about making their errors right.

I purchased the living room sofa set and dining room table set in January of 2024. The salesperson recommended the Fortegra warranty strongly and promised Rooms to Go would take care of any stains or problems even if Fortegra could not do a good job. Since I chose the white fabric for sofas and dining chairs, I purchased Fortegra warranty just in case.
About 2 months after the delivery, sofa, loveseat, single chair and dining chair got some stains from food spills. I called for the cleaning under the warranty program. The tech from RTG came out and tried to clean the stains. However, the spots were still present and I thought RTG would replace stained furniture as promised or did better job of removing stains. Since there was not any response for 1 week, I called Fortegra and their rep said our stains were not covered by the warranty to my surprise. When I asked the written denial of the warranty service, she said Fortegra would not issue the written notice and communicate the denial only by the phone. I have never heard of refusing the written notice of denial. I called RTG and salesperson many times, and finally he promised RTG would take care of stains.
However, nothing was done and no responses from multiple calls and texts. So, I had to call the regular cleaning company to remove the stains. The cleaning company found a few stains were due to the faulty fabric which could not be removed. Other spots could be removed and cost me over $500. I asked for the second opinion and the second company said the same findings. Due to faulty fabric, furniture should be replaced or refunded.
However, RTO refused replacing the furniture nor refund the warranty payment. The Fortegra warranty program is just an empty promise and taking the money for no service. I am taking the next step to correct this absurd and wrong sales tactic by Room To GO. I just want customers to be aware of how Room To GO is treating the customers badly and selling their furniture and Fortegra warranty program. Please aware of their sales tactic just selling the empty warranty program and not honoring the faulty furniture.

Rooms to Go warranty which is called as Fortegra. Totally disappointed with the Fortegra. We pay upfront for the warranty and they don't approve any of the claims we submit. They give a lot of reasons and say we cannot approve the claim. Never waste money on warranty from roomstogo.

Updated on 08/04/2024: After receiving a delivery August 2 we found all the cardboard and straps were left in our front yard. Several calls to customer service provided promises of return calls from delivery manager. We are still waiting for the removal of the trash and cardboard from our yard. I’ve emailed TellUs@roomstogo as well. Still waiting!
Updated on 08/03/2024: After two weeks of constant calling and emailing RTG finally provided a refund on this order as the item was missing parts and broken. Sad it takes a customer multiple and continuous calls/emails and submitting a report to the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Affairs to get this remedied!
Original Review: We purchased an item online from Rooms to Go and it arrived with the box damaged on every end with clear tape holding the ends in place. Parts began falling out when we put inside. I have been trying to get this resolved for over a week and cannot get a return, replacement or any communication back about the product. Description of complaint: My phone number to check the account - **. I used my Guardian protection for my sofa and I was asked to go to store and reselect since the same piece was no longer available. I went to store and selected the furniture and paid the price difference using RTG credit card. RTG people came in and picked up the damaged furniture and then after few days they delivered the new furniture that I picked. After 1 month of the delivery, I saw new charge of $1725 on my RTG credit card. This was not expected as I already returned the damaged furniture for which Guardian approved my claim.
I do not understand why I am charged $1725 when I already returned the damaged furtnire back to RTG. The people from RTG came and picked up the damaged 3 piece sectional. I want to complain and make sure that I am not charged this amount since I already returned the damaged 3 piece sectional. RTG is fraudulently charging me even after returning the furniture.

I had a delivery/exchange scheduled July 10 11a.m-3p.m. I rearranged my schedule to be able to accept this delivery. I used the RTG delivery tracker. Throughout the time frame I checked the tracker and the time kept advancing within the agreed upon time frame, which is totally acceptable. 7 At 1:50p.m I checked the tracker and the time frame changed to 3p.m-7p.m time frame. I called customer care and they told me there was a glitch in the GPS and my delivery would be next. I checked the tracker again and the time was 4:15p.m-4:45p.m. I called customer care again and they told me that someone texted or emailed me with the new time frame. No one ever texted or emailed me about this time frame change. I had rearranged my schedule around this delivery. I was not available after 3p.m. I had to reschedule the delivery and I was told no deliveries available until July 19. This is HORRIBLE customer service.

Our sofa broke within the first year. We paid for extended warranty and were told they would come to us and fix it after we moved. The sofa didn't fit into our new space so we had a storage unit. We asked specifically if they could service it in a storage unit. They told me "yes, no problem". Just phone back when it is moved. Did that and then was told "we don't service in storage units - call us when you move it". It has been almost a year. We are paying for a sofa that is broken and add in storage costs - based on their advice. I feel cheated and that they don't care as long as you keep paying for their furniture and if the warranty expires then who gives a care, both companies get their money and stuff it.
It was insulting how they treated me - like I was a worthless person trying to get one over on them. If you want to know what a company is truly like it is when you have conflict. Are unwilling to find a solution and put all the onus on the consumer to find the solution and pay for all the costs and time in finding that solution? Or help resolve it? This company doesn't care. They hide behind their policies, do not take any accountability for errors from their company/employees and will not try to find any solutions to help the customer.. Shop elsewhere!

I read all these reviews too late. I bought a couch with charging docks and electric recliners and a love seat. I have 3 year warranty on electrical parts. But my problem is the fabric. I live alone and I am not overweight and the area of the couch I would Normally sit looks like it's 10 years old and I've had it 2 years. Had to start sitting in another area to try keep it from looking worse. When I messaged I got all the same answers as everybody else here. Not their problem. Call a furniture repair company. Never ever recommend RTG!!!! Really disappointed.

I purchased 4 table chairs, 2 bar stools, a sofa and a chair and a half with an ottoman. Upon arrival the sofa had a damaged rubber pad on one of the feet. 4 table chairs were wobbly and 3 of them had stains. I reported this immediately and was told customer service would out in a week. When the day came the service tech came out and confirmed all the issues I reported. After confirming all the problems he said he would report them and someone from customer service would come out to respond to the issue. WHAT??? Wasn't that why he was there???

Bought in January 24 the Hazelnut Woods Brown 84-102 In. Dining Table, at the end of the sales process the R2G sales rep. Offered us Three (3) years furniture protection plan which we find important as it was a gift to my daughter that have small children’s. After a month and a result of a birthday party there was a small (1.5”) liquid stain. I called and file a claim to Fortegra (it’s NOT part of R2G!), send them (as requested) the photo of the stain, it took them several week and 4 calls to tell me that this stain is not covered. I went to R2G and as a result they send me to the Rooms to Go Customer Care which sent an agent to review it (the process took several weeks), after the agent visit it took another 2 weeks for Rooms to Go Customer Care to call me and told me that can’t fix it. Bottom line: This was my last buying experience at R2G! Warning for all out there to NOT buy their “”Protection”” plan nor trust their customer care service post sell help and support!.

I purchased $4000+. When delivery came they couldn't bring it in or at least put in house. Won't fit. Excuses. My dad 81, friends 67 and 60 got in house. Legs damaged. Reported with, "We will order. No idea when." Then went to store to show Matt asst manager and he told me I was hostile and to leave or he would call police. Read their reviews before you buy from Rooms To Go. They are true. My experience - horrible customer service and worse delivery service.

I have the had the most horrific nightmare with this company!!!! I received 2 defective couches, nobody will help me, no help from anyone or customer service and they want to charge me a 20% restocking fee for their damaged couches!!! I also received the wrong lamps 4 times!!!! And nobody will help me with that either!!! I was in the store yesterday hysterically crying from being mistreated and not one person cared about anything!!! I have even contacted the vendors to help me and they didn’t help either. I am completely mortified, and distraught over all of this! I have spent hours and hours trying to rectify this situation and all I ever did was go and purchase furniture and have had nothing but the worst experience from any company!!! what does not make sense is they fail at the pickup of the damaged product as well. This went from a full refund to a partial refund at the hands of RTG, they have no clue on what to do to help resolve the issue. I will never shop at RTG ever again. Buyers beware.

Simply put, they have a NO RETURN POLICY. Their third-party delivery service often provides misinformation, doesn't remove or handle old furniture, and frequently makes mistakes with deliveries and orders. The delivery guy told me that I had 72–hours to return the sofa that was too large for my apartment. This was not true. Delays are not communicated in time to allow for cancellations or changes.
Moreover, their centralized (1-800) customer service can't handle all issues. Some matters need to be resolved directly at the store with either the store's customer service or a sales associate. Additionally, what the centralized customer service tells you often does not align with what happens at the store. Good luck if you order something on their site or in their store that is shipped directly from the manufacturer! This information is usually not communicated in time to cancel the order.

The truck drivers were afraid to come up our street due to it being gravel and a tiny bit of mud in the road. We had three other deliveries in large box trucks today and every single one came up with no issues or problems. They turned around and never delivered our bedroom furniture that we were depending on. They never even contacted us to let us know they were not coming. DO NOT buy from Rooms To Go if you live in a mountain community as they will refuse to deliver your furniture. This is the Blue Ridge mountains, many homes are up inclines and not perfect roads! RTG get some drivers that are not wimps!

Worst furniture we ever bought. Spent Thousands on a bedroom set and the quality is terrible as is customer service. We had to wait months for the furniture and when it finally came it was cracked and broken. They had to send new pieces four times! Now, not even a year later the drawers are breaking. Our visit started off well with Patrick ** helping us purchase a recliner sofa on Sunday. We worked with the office to start financing and put a sum down. We were promised to get a call of when our couch would be delivered. We never received a call, but when we called, we were told Friday between 2-4. I took the day off to ensure the delivery would be done. We received a phone call from the delivery person at 4pm asking for confirmation. When we tried to call back, we got the store in Brookshire. They then transferred us to the Pearland store. This store stated they would have to call dispatch to get in touch with the driver.
By this time we checked the tracking and our delivery was closed at 4:03. The driver stated he couldn't get in touch with us while we were going through the ridiculous process to get back to him. Neither store would not get the driver to turn around nor contact us to make the delivery. We went up to the store to hear nothing but excuses and apologies. We were told we could possibly get our couch ourselves at the Brookshire store the next day.
Long story short, we would call to check the status of our delivery (to see if it was unlocked and able to be picked up). Once again, apologies and excuses. Since we spent our entire weekend waiting to enjoy our couch and not getting anywhere, we rode out to Gallery Furniture, bought the exact same couch, and it was delivered within 3 hours after purchasing.
We did go back to Rooms to Go Pearland to cancel our purchase and get our deposit back. As we walked up to the office window the lady asked if we were canceling, we said yes and we would like to talk to a manager. Once again we got excuses and apologies, and we're told we would be able to get our refund once the delivery is unlocked. We did have a little debate on how much we put down, but once our bank statement was shown, we were told it will take 7-10 days. We will NOT be setting foot inside a Rooms to Go store nor purchase anything from this franchise. They need some customer service training, better communication with drivers, and be able to unlock accounts to help the customer enjoy their purchase...not cringe about it.

I’ve no issue with the sales folks etc. My issue is with quality. After two fairly expensive living room sets I’ve come to the conclusion that the quality is just not there. The sofas, chairs, etc, break down very quickly. Easy financing, nice folks but you’ll be back every couple years for replacement furniture. Never again.

I will start off by saying I purchased a Sealy split king mattress with the foundation for the split king, located at 9301 Rain Lily Trail Ste A in the Alliance Center in Texas. This was the first time we went to exchange anything. We were told by customer service we could and even went to the store and they gave us amount of 2595 minus 69.99 for delivery to exchange this. As we did not like it. We reselected with Steve the salesperson. He was going to place the order a couple days later because we had to wait for their minimum 30 day trial to do exchange. So the salesman called me to tell me that management would only exchange the mattress and I could not exchange for full king foundation. Once it is delivered in your home there is no returns when it comes to foundations.
This was never disclosed to me or my wife and I was even told by customer service representative that would be no problem. Remember I went to the store and they gave me amount I had to pay for the exchange. After buying so many items at rooms to go to be treated in this matter. I will never shop at Rooms to Go again as I’m so very disappointed. Their customer service has been horrible after this purchase.

I’m Maria who is purchased bed set from your company. I would like to tell you that bed is not installed very well from your team and now it’s broken a part. It was happened even it’s not been one year. I purchased on May 2023. But it’s shaking since after they installed, I don’t want to complain anything. So, I just try my best to use carefully. Even though I use carefully it was broken and all the colors came out. Because they did not screw well and some is missing. Please look at pictures.
I really want your team can do something for me, please. I do look forward for that. I contacted customer service and she said it was delivered on May 2023 and she can’t do anything for me. But it was actually delivered on June 2023. They delivered on May the first time but it was broken because of delivery and they took it back. Second time had some bugs or insects and they took back again. Final delivery and installation was June 13th, 2023. You can look your system. But Customer service said they are not counting final delivery. But I don’t use or get until June. Why you counted the first delivery? That’s not my fault and you should count the date that I used or I get everything. I really need someone or headquarters person or owner can do something this issue.

If I could I would leave no stars. I made the biggest mistake by making a purchase at Rooms To Go. I made a purchase a faulty product was delivered but because the service team took time to respond they considered it a return and only allowed me to get a replacement or to reselect. I have it a second chance and deselected an item. 6 months later it broke and the technician said that a faulty piece of wood was used. I waited a week and no one called me with any update. Though the “Limited Warranty” says that if there is an issue with a year from purchase, one option is they can issue a refund, I am told by customer service that for the specific store I bought it from, “Refund” is not an option and I should contact the store. Funny how the store says that Customer Service makes decisions and the Customer Service team tell us it’s the Store's decision. A horrible experience and I would “Never” recommend buying from anything from Rooms To Go

I had such a professional and courteous experience with Horace and another gentlemen today. I should've asked for his name. These two men were so professional and respectful. Especially, the gentlemen who knocked on my door. He greeted me with such a genuine and wide smile. It was contagious. Rooms To Go delivery rocks. Thank you, Horace and your co-worker, for such an amazing delivery today.

We purchase a navy blue leather sofa from Shakir ** at the Pines Rooms to Go. Once the couch was delivered we went back and purchase two large colorful to go over the couch. Shakir ** also assisted with process and had them wrapped so that we could take them with us. He as usual was very helpful with our purchasing process.

We bought a 5000$ worth couch and added one more recliner to it and bought a warranty. And once it gets delivered We did not like the added recliner so we wanted to return the recliner back and get something else instead. When we went in there to return they gave us very hard time to take it back and we do not want warranties on the another product we are adding.
Funny and scamming thing is I also ordered another dining set worth of 3200$ and I wanted to cancel it since it has not been delivered it but they are saying we cannot cancel. If we do then 20% we have to take from store credit. Such a scamming. Why would I do business with them if I don't like it even if it's not getting delivered why would I pay for any fee. Call me if anything needed if you wanna address this **. Biggest Scammer in the name of business. Never do business with Rooms To Go.
