Love the designs but will not purchase anything else from Rooms to Go, this is my second sofa purchase and both are made horribly. Tried to give them another chance, pay more including sleeper for better support but wrong move, the frame make a popping & squeaky noise, it's only me so I can imagine if family was around all of the time. Sheesh. Hopefully I can get better quality , better and stable frame work after the second tech arrives. Definitely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

My experience with Rooms To Go has been extremely frustrating, mainly because of their customer service and the Fortegra protection plan they push during checkout. When purchasing furniture, the salesperson strongly encouraged me to buy the insurance through Fortegra, claiming it would protect the furniture from damage and give peace of mind. However, when an issue actually came up, and I tried to use the warranty, the process was a nightmare. The claim was either delayed, denied, or passed around between departments with no real help or clear answers.
Customer service was just as disappointing. Getting someone who could actually resolve the issue was nearly impossible, and it felt like no one wanted to take responsibility. Instead of helping the customer, they just kept redirecting me to the warranty company. I paid extra for protection that ended up being useless. Many customers report similar experiences where claims are denied for reasons like “normal wear and tear” even when the damage seems like it should be covered. Overall, the furniture buying process was smooth at first, but after the sale, the support was terrible. I would not recommend purchasing their extended warranty, and based on my experience, I would think twice before buying from Rooms To Go again. 😡

My husband and I bought many Rooms to Go products before he died of service connected ALS in 2020. Nothing was good and we knew we were sold rubbish.. When he passed it took me 3 years of grief to finally buy a sectional...With my friend's approval.. I should have known better.. It was never set up as my home was like a hospital ..When eventually it was set up I was devastated..It was supposed to have a chaise..It was torn at the back chair.. I have called and no one cares.. It's so badly made I cannot bear it in my home and will give it away or sell.. I will NEVER EVER BUY FROM RTG EVER AGAIN!

Rooms to Go is absurd. They put 2 duplicate end pieces of my couch on the truck and the best they can do is make me wait another week to get a new piece delivered after already waiting 3 weeks. Pitiful on their part that you pay for delivery and you don’t even get what you paid for.

I ordered a Loveseat sofa, couch, and ottoman, at the end of January. My order arrived February 23 or 24th. I am now three weeks in, and I still do not have my full furniture set. Each time the delivery came, the items were damaged.
First delivery: Apt sofa was good yet the ottoman and large sofa were chipped, the sofa also had a seam split open.
Second Delivery: Ottoman chipped, and large sofa dented and chipped on the wood.
Third Delivery: Finally, the large sofa was perfect and I was able to accept it. The ottoman once again arrived chipped. Now, I am scheduled for a 4th delivery.
Rooms to Go never offered me any concessions for my time, inconvenience, and continued disappointment and stress they are causing me throughout this entire process of purchasing with your company. I would’ve happily cancelled the order altogether yet because I accepted the Apartment Sofa (loveseat), that was no longer an option while I waited for the delivery of the remaining furniture. Why did it have to take three deliveries to halfway get it right? I am still waiting on another delivery for next week. This experience has left me to not want to recommend or purchase with the company ever again due to the inconsiderate delivery practices and process.
I had to ask for a refund to compensate me for my time, stress, inconvenience, and disappointment and was offered $25. I did inform the Care team I did not feel that was a sufficient offer. The most they came back with is $75 refund or $75 store credit. This was their best offer. Your company makes hundreds of thousands of dollars and for my bad experience, $75 is the most they were willing to do for a $1800 order that ended for total cost around $2200. Sadly, they acted as if they were doing me the favor. And if your furniture smells like smoke, it's because the delivery drivers are smoking cigarettes in the truck as they remove your new furniture from the truck while unwrapping it! Don't worry about them asking you for a signature because they will forge your name and initial each time.

I waited to write this review to give ourselves time to really sit with the couch we bought. However, I will say that I did try to return the couch within the first month because I knew that I had been sold a couch that wouldn't holdup to my needs. Which I was told very rudely, that Rooms to Go doesn't do returns. Overall, the couch is not bad, however, every little thing that happens to this couch you will see. We have animals and told the salesman our reservation about getting a leather couch, to which he told us there is no way they can damage a leather couch.
I decided to purchase the extended protection plan or warranty to cover issues that could arise, I was told in detail, along with me asking a ton of questions on what it covers, and was told it would cover things like accidental spills, scratches (not from animals), etc., I can tell you from experience that is false. We had something spill on the couch and I submitted a claim, which was denied due to it not being a manufacturer issue, I told them I knew it wasn't and it states this should be covered. It was not and was told nothing would be covered outside of manufacturer issues. The couch we purchased is the Aqua Leather Couch (9614), 4 piece. My warning to anyone that might read this is to not purchase this couch if you actually want to use it daily. Definitely don't purchase if you have animals or kids.

I bought the black 3pc Encore sectional for 5K last year. It haven’t even been 6 months & already it’s an electrical issue. I spoke with RTG reps on multiple occasions started in January. Well according to them it can take up to 90 DAYS for the part to arrive. Fast forward to today they tell me the manufacturer is no longer making these parts so I can pick out another living room set or keep this one as is & they will take $400 Off $5000 4/10. Don’t recommend smh.

We purchased a couch which was scheduled for delivery from 7am-11am, this was communicated via email and text several times over several days which allowed us to make work arrangements and move appointments to meet this window. DAY OF DELIVERY I GET A TEXT THAT THE TIME CHANGED TO 1PM-400PM, COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE, THE COMPANY IS DISORGANIZED AND COMPLETELY VOID OF CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Very disappointed with Rooms To Go. I bought a full living room set (sofa, loveseat, chair, ottoman) only 1 year and 5 months ago, and after just one year the springs became loose. The furniture now sinks so badly it’s hard to get up. I had two service visits and was told “nothing is broken,” so my claim was denied. Apparently sagging and loss of support don’t count. They push you to buy their protection plan but when you actually need it, it covers nothing. Now I’m stuck paying for furniture I have to replace. Completely unacceptable quality and service.

I hate this store!! NEVER AGAIN!! I spent OVER $2,000.00 on a bedroom set just to be inconvenienced by having to return the dresser and chest. This is the 3rd time and they sent me the same dresser back retouched and you can literally smell it!! Customer service is no help at all.

Recently purchased a round 56" kitchen table and 4 chair set. We have immediately encountered quality issues and frustrating response to our issues. We purchased an extended warranty that does not appear to be helpful. Although this set if brand new and yet to be paid for, we are already regretting our purchase. Cannot recommend Rooms To Go and will not purchase from them again.

Real simple... Spent about $8,000 on their Shaquille O'Neal stereo furniture/massaging recliners. Big mistake, all the reviews said not do it, that customer service is horrible when you have a problem. And the reviews were right. They basically told me that they don't bring parts because it could waste the driver's time if it's not the right part. So they really don't care if you have to take off work waiting their time frame window and then when things are not fixed go through the same process again and basically they just tell you that's the way they do things.

My couch wasn’t delivered!! Apparently the driver stated he couldn’t find my apartment even though instructions were provided. How is he even a delivery driver if he can’t follow simple instructions?? Does he not have GPS?? Once I got ahold of someone, they said they would call dispatch and have the driver come back. 2 1/2 hours later still nothing so I call back again. This time I was told that the driver can’t come back and that I’d have to reschedule. At this point I was extremely upset and said I wanted to cancel the whole order. I was then informed that the order couldn’t be canceled until the furniture arrived back at the warehouse. Absolutely unacceptable!!! You have the worst customer service ever and zero sympathy from anyone I spoke with today!!!

We purchased our two manual reclining sofas and one dual power reclining loveseat, all were the Meadow Park brand in their Cobalt color. Our purchase date was October 13, 2025 at their Macon, GA store. Our sales person was super, store was good, furniture delivered as scheduled. Comfort is good and all electronics and mechanics are working fine. However, we are beginning to notice unusual and unexpected wear on the fabric, on the loveseat. It’s looking more like it’s years old versus only a few months! We’re concerned how the fabric will be months from now.

Updated on 02/26/2026: So Rooms To Go responded to my review. They still won't honor my warranty and on top of that they won't give me a discount on a new couch. This is soooo bad. After all the business I have given them. Please do not buy furniture from this store with the warranty. You are wasting your money.
Original Review: My white Shaq Tech 3,000 dollar couch is discolored from dye transfer from clothes. They won't honor my protection plan. I would like for them to trade white couch for black couch. James in customer was support had no mercy....not even offering a discount on a new couch. The whole experience has been so stressful. He told me I had to live with it after they sent someone out to try and clean it and it wouldn't come out. I have heart problems and this has caused me so much angina. I think a 3,000 dollar couch should not be discolored from people's clothes. No resolution from James at all. He was rude and unprofessional.

I am so disappointed in RTG. I was excited to shop online because I am a disabled vet. The delivery is scheduled for March 19th, really. I am going to shop at Ashley and see if I can get something delivered in a reasonable amount of time. Then I'm going to cancel my RTG order.

My experience from store to purchase was great. Salesman was a salesman. He sold us the couch. We found the one we wanted, sat on it, it was nice and cozy at the store. Salesman discussed the cushioning and how it is specially made to hold up longer. Only difference in our order was the color of fabric. It was delivered and set up professionally. Once having the chance to relax and enjoy our new 2600.00 dollar purchase, it feels like I’m sitting on crinkly paper. Every time we move it’s like plastic. I hate it. The stuffing inside the cushions are covered with this white plastic. By the way the cushion inside is basic foam. Nothing special as advertised. I looked for 5 months for the right couch and was so excited to receive it. This is such a huge disappointment.

Overall, I was very disappointed with my shopping experience. We bought and paid for a bedroom set and after following up for 3 days in a row we were told that the set was not available and could not be shipped to us. The sales person shared there was a computer glitch and if I called back the next day it would be get straightened out after a manager gave the override. 3 days later we were told the item could not be delivered.

I received my Cindy Crawford Bellingham ottoman with a broken leg, and you can't even push it to move it or it sounds like it is going to break. Makes a terrible squeaking noise. Very disappointed. For the price you would think it would be solidly built.

I purchased bedroom set, mattresses, dining room and living room from RTG. I had issues with the adjustable bed, kitchen table and the living room couch. Despite purchasing the warranty, RTG did NOTHING to help with any of the quality issues experienced. My white leather couch had blue/black circular streaks which cannot be removed. I have no clue how they got there. It seems that the leather dye is coming off causing underlying color to bleed through the leather. They did nothing for me - I spent thousands of dollars at RTG and they do not stand behind their furniture NOR the warranty which seems to cover everything except my couch issue.

If I could give a negative star review, I would!!! Rooms to Go is a scam! My 77-year-old mother bought a $4000 mattress in November 2025. When the mattress arrived, it had waves. We called customer service, and they sent out a service tech to look at the mattress and eventually, they replaced it. My mom received the second mattress, and dang it, it had a big wave in the middle of the mattress.
Additionally, the sides of the mattress where she sits have already started to sag (she’s fallen out of bed twice now since mid December 2025). My mom weighs 150 at most. We reviewed the manufacturer of the mattress before the purchase, and they had great reviews. When we called requesting a refund, Rooms to Go said they would approve an exchange for the mattress of equal or greater value. Here’s the kicker: if you pick a mattress of greater value, then you owe the difference, but if you pick a mattress of cheaper value, there’s no refund. We spent hours lying on mattresses, and there are no other mattresses my mother is interested in purchasing from Rooms to Go. She wants her money back!!! The mattress she laid on in the showroom is not the same as the mattresses she received. It’s like Rooms to Go has added the manufacturer labels to a low-brow mattress. It makes me wonder how big of a scam they’re actually running!

I purchased a mattress from rooms to go. In less that 4 months mattress caved in on either side. I upgraded to another mattress, double in price and same exact thing happen in less than 4 months. I'm being told now that rooms to go will ONLY swap for another mattress. WHY would I want to do this when there is an obvious quality issue? BEWARE purchasing mattresses form rooms to go.

Sorry but just True! The worse experience ever. Lost everything I owned in Ian Flood, took almost two years to get back in our home; I decided to buy all my furniture from Rooms To Go. My store sales rep was Ethan, very nice young man who walked me through the entire store until I finished. Over $12,000.00 in furniture and some two hours later it was all set. I received my furniture- They delivered and setup- great. Not quite a year later my bed headboard showed a defect. Then they tell me it is not covered because it was just over a year even though I had been contacting them prior to a year.
Here is the worse part- My beautiful dining room table got damaged- I had coverage- They came to replace the table- They brought me a table that was not the same table- Wood grain grooves were now painted on lines! Edging on table was a dull paint with no shine. I had them bring two more times to replace and not only did they bring the different cheaper made table but they took my original insert drop leaf to my table and never replaced that at all. I have been working on this for almost a year now- Back and forth, sales rep Ethan, who was on vacation, then sent me to the care team on phone, said they would bring a new table, then said I had to pick out another table set, then said my drop leaf is not made anymore, then said I would get a store credit to pick out a whole new set (meantime my table is peeling along edges and spots to this date), then said they would be coming to bring me another table of the same.
Then said go to the store and just pick out a new one, then one hour after that instruction they had a young gal call me to say I get nothing. No table, no exchange, no fix, no store credit, no nothing and because they already came out to replace it before regardless it was the wrong one... She said "she" decided to do nothing. I promised myself I will never ever buy another thing from this store again so long as I live. I am so distraught over this and so very disappointed and quite disgusted to be honest. And now everyone I know at this store has gone silent on me. I am left with a defective cheaper table than I originally purchased and a headboard with a visible defect under the lacquer finish.

We purchased a living room couch set for several thousand dollars. As soon as the extended warranty we paid for expired, the sits began to sink. I cannot sit in for anytime longer than a few minutes, my back is hurt. Don't buy here. Don't buy the extended warranty. Quality of the products is overwhelmingly low.

This is the worst store that you could ever deal with. I ordered my quote furniture that sounds wrap was very unprofessional. Didn’t understand the product and did not know how to explain to me what I was getting once I got it. I was supposed to get a nightstand that I was not aware of, then they dropped them in front of my door and left it. This was the worst I’ve ever dealt with in my life, buying furniture. Highly recommend you to stay away from this store because they are liars and they don’t stand by what they do.

We bought a 2 piece "Antonin Leather Reclining Sofa" from Rooms To Go, and within an incredibly short amount of time it began staining from normal, everyday use. Simply sitting on the couch causes permanent discoloration. Even areas that are not being sat on or touched have developed stains. We contacted Rooms To Go expecting assistance, as this is clearly defective material or extremely poor-quality leather. Instead, we were shocked by their response. We were told there is “nothing they can do,” and the issue was implied to be our fault.
This is not luxury furniture. This is not a delicate or specialty material. This is a standard couch that should be able to withstand basic, everyday use without permanently discoloring. A sofa that cannot be sat on without staining is not fit for purpose. Rooms To Go’s customer service was dismissive and offered no solution and no accountability for selling a product that is clearly failing under normal conditions. Standing behind your products should not end the moment a problem appears. We deeply regret this purchase and would strongly caution others against buying this sofa—or trusting Rooms To Go to stand behind their furniture if something goes wrong. We will never buy from Rooms To Go again.

Very disappointing experience. DO NOT BUY EXTENDED WARRANTY. It is a scam. I bought a sofa and added the extended warranty, and I assumed I was covered against a potential poor quality product, which ended up being that! After few months of use, it showed defects. Called RTG and the sofa got repaired, just to show again the same problem soon after that. After multiple calls and a couple of additional attempts to have it repaired, RTG rep came and submitted request for replacement. The final decision was not to replace the defective sofa because it was already “repaired”, and when asked to have it repaired again, it was denied by the warranty company, arguing that it was a problem to be solved by RTG. I will never come to this store again.

The most terrible experience I’ve ever had with a furniture company. We ordered a full bedroom suite over $4000 and it was delivered to our brand new home damaged. We were asked to set up another day to have the new furniture replaced. I took off another day at work, met the guys, they unpacked the furniture and it was also damaged, actually looked like it had been used or came out of someone else’s house. They left the furniture and we had to set up yet another day, same thing happened again on the third try and the fourth on the fourth.
We discovered that all the screws have been stripped out from the previous person that installed the footboard and headboard, and the footboard was damaged and they could not change it out due to the screws being stripped, we asked if we could have some type of refund and just keep the footboard because the damage was minimum and very unnoticeable. The technician actually pointed out the damage, not us.
We were told by customer service that they could take a couple hundred dollars off, but we would have to accept the furniture as he is and there would be no additional warranty if anything else will go wrong with any other additional furniture that we had that did not seem fair for it to avoid the warranty due to it being damaged, they cannot replace the footboard again because it was no longer carried or in stock.
It had been discontinued, so we were told we could pick another set or accepted as it was for the same price - 2 or $300. I told them I had a third option. I wanted a full refund, so now we’re setting up a fifth day for them to come back and get all the furniture. I requested a full refund, which I’m sure I have to fight to the nail to get due to. We put some money down initially as we purchased and financed the rest through them, never again while walking in our Rooms to Go or recommend them for anything, absolutely terrible customer service and the rudest people I’ve ever dealt with on the phone.

Don't waste your money with Rooms to Go. The material of their sofas is of very poor quality. In less than two months, the sofa already had problems, and they just tell you it's due to normal wear and tear and refuse to fix anything.

Rooms to Go salesman, John ** in Greensboro, NC, kept adding extended Warranty to invoice despite my telling him 3 times I did not want. John sent me a text stating my purchase would be a total of $2,866.49, but when I got the Rooms to Go credit card statement it stated the purchase price was $3,992.11. I called John 3 times, he never returned my calls. I spoke to the Store manager, Paul, who told me a lady that handles billing would call me the next business day, but 4 days later and no return call. BEWARE! This company and sales staff are not to be trusted! Buy elsewhere or risk being ripped off.

Bought two cream colored powered recliners in October 2025. In December of that year we noticed that on one of those chairs that both arms started to show dark spots on them. It looks like the cream stain was wearing off. We had a technician come out the first week of January 2026 to see what could be done. The technician said that he would write up a report and we would hear back in about 5 days. About a week later we received a phone call from Rooms To Go. Saying we needed to call the Extended Warranty Company about the claim. I spoke to a representative on 01/15/2026 from the extended warranty company and told them what Rooms to Go had told me and that they should have them send a copy of the report to them so as not to have someone from there company to come back out and look at the chair.
At the end of the phone call I was told that I should hear from them in about two days. The next morning I received an email from them stating that the claim was denied because "Unfortunately, discoloration/coloring fading is not covered under your service contract, as it is considered regular wear and tear." We had the chairs for 3 months. Any reasonable person could see that it's the dye color is fading, and that 3 months is not FAIR WEAR AND TEAR! I would recommend that you look ANYWHERE BUT ROOMS TO GO for you furniture needs.

My husband's electric recliner broke after only 3 months of having it. The serviceman said he had to order a part. I had to call the store three different times to get any information. First time, they said the part had been ordered and will arrive in 3-5 business days, but please note the day the part was ordered was a week and a half from when the serviceman came to my house. Second time, I was told to call back when the part arrived. Third time, I was told the part may not be available right now causing the delay, and it may be up to 90 days before it arrived. Note: I had to call each time to check the status. There was zero follow up from the store.

I bought bedroom furniture at Rooms to Go. Go, including a mirror sand, nightstand, etc. at the end of 2024. I left immediately to work overseas and returned after one year manufacturing warranty expired. Once I was back, I discovered that the mirror sand and one of the nightstands had issues, such as small holes, scratching, drawers not closing, etc. I went to speak to their store customer service in Clearwater. I was given a custom care phone number. I called and they sent a technician to look at the issues. I was told I will be contacted soon. Since, I did not hear from them, I called and was told the nightstand and mirror sand need to be replaced and they can't do anything since the one year expired. I tried to explain and make my case which is unique but to no avail.
I requested to speak to a supervisor who kept telling the same. My main concern is how on earth a company like rooms to go can deliver furniture with big issues like mines? Out of 4 pieces, two need major repair. I bought at Ashley the living room and the dining room furniture and they did not have these kinds of issues. I spent a few thousands $ on the bedroom and to my surprise the company will not care about fixing their own mistakes. I requested to get the decision in written, no such procedure. I DO NOT recommend Eric Church furniture. It is overpriced for the quality. We purchased a 3 piece set of living room set with 2 pieces having electronic reclining feature. Literally 2 months after our warranty expired the motor simply stopped on one side of the main piece we use. So we have a 3 thousand dollar piece of junk that we are now going to be out of pocket for a motor. The leather-ish is thin and cheap and has come off by normal use. It looks nice but quality is crap and it's not even comfortable to sit on long term which you realize after you've bought it. This motor should have an extended warranty of its own and should last more than barely 3 years for the price. I just paid this furniture off 2 days before it went out. Waste of warranty which should be refunded since we didn't get to use it! Unhappy customer! Crappy made product!

Purchased the Goodwin gray Sofa & Loveseat back in April 2025 but due to it being on backorder didn't receive it until June 2025 which was absolutely fine because we loved it so much we were willing to wait. However from the day we received it we have been dealing with feathers poking you to from the seat cushions and also the decorative pillows it comes with to the point you have to locate it with your finger and literally pull it out... after dealing with this issue for months we called customer service just to be told this is "normal" are you kidding me?!?! And there is nothing they can do as this is "normal wear and tear"... I am very dissatisfied with this business and furniture.

I purchased a "top grain leather" living room set at Rooms To Go. The color was suppose to be ice and looks very white in their showroom. However my set is beige, and not at all what I expected. The quality is beyond terrible. Sit on it once, and all of the "leather" puddles. This is my 5th leather set, and no other set looked so terrible even after years of use. The furniture reeks of cheap plastic chemicals. No leather smell whatsoever. A furniture technician came to our home to address the puddling, and he said that this is a very common complaint. He told me that basically what I paid thousands of dollars for is pleather, that there may be a small percentage of real leather, but certainly not much. There is no leather grain. No leather smell or feel. Real leather would not wrinkle and puddle the very first time you sit on it. We could not be more disappointed. We feel lied to and scammed.

Bought brand new house. All new furniture all RTG top of line. About thirty thousand dollars worth to be exact. Bought the sound couches and battery packs. The installers never have hooked up the raffle battery system so they left them. If your employees can’t hook them up there rtg how and the hell are a home owner suppose to!! So I spent nearly 500$ on stuff sitting in a box. How is that right?

Do NOT ever buy anything from Rooms to Go. We purchased the Cindy Crawford Sleeper Sectional and the movers damaged the chaise piece trying to fit it into the elevator. It didn’t fit in the elevator so they left it damaged in the service entry downstairs and didn’t tell me it was damaged. These movers were a ABSOLUTE MESS even our doorman said they were "clowns". The piece they did successfully move into our apartment I witnessed them shoving around and was concerned they would damage the walls in the hallway.
The next day I arranged a third party to take apart and then reassemble the chaise piece in our apartment. They arrived and unwrapped the piece downstairs and found that it was damaged, took pictures and then came upstairs to tell me it was damaged. I went downstairs and saw the damage and then was on the phone with customer care for 1 hour being passed around to different departments and groups. They then blamed the third party because they unwrapped the couch and told me to commit insurance fraud by submitting a claim with the third party when it is extremely clear to me that the movers from roomstogo damaged the couch trying to fit it into the elevator. An absolutely TERRIBLE company and customer experience with Brianna **. We will NEVER buy from Rooms to Go again when their policy is to not accept responsibility and then blame another party when it was CLEARLY not the other party’s fault.

Caveat Emptor when buying from Rooms to Go. (I am leaving names out purposely). The buying experience was good, it is the after service that leaves you wondering. We purchased a family room set on Black Friday 11/28, with electric functions, feet/back, lumbar and head, delivery was not until 12/18, okay busy time, no big rush. The delivery team was fantastic, everything worked. Sadly that night the head portion of the chair stopped working in the "Out position" I checked to make sure everything was still connected and even unplugged and plugged back in (thinking it might reset) no joy, the next morning we called 12/19 for warranty, was told the earliest the tech could come out was 12/26, nothing earlier I asked, sorry no was the reply.
On 12/26 the technician showed up in a Rooms to Go van, thinking to myself, this is good, they know the issue, they know the product and that van looks like it carries needed parts. He comes into the house, I explain what is wrong, and told him I checked to make sure nothing came unplugged, he then asked if I had unplugged and plugged back in, to which I said yes. He then proceeded to connect his "Test Switch" to check for any movement, nothing happened, he then informed us it was either the switch or the motor, I said great you have that in the van, to which replied, well no, we don't carry parts, a little perplexed I said, so you are not a technician, just an evaluator, no real answer. So then we were informed he would order the switch and motor to be sent to our house, when it arrives we call service to set up installation, again with the perplexed look, "You can't go get them and come back"?
Not how it works he said, but they have a bunch in the warehouse in NC, so it shouldn't take long. On 12/27 we called the service help line and after 20 minutes of holding the call was disconnected. I proceeded to call the store and requested the store manager, I was told he wasn't in, but the lady I spoke to said she was a manager, explained my situation and she said "maybe we can offer you a delivery refund, I can't make that decision, but I will contact our store rep" I said okay, but what I really want is the chair fixed.
12/29 approximately 1632 hours we received a call from Rooms to Go, the gentlemen said "I understand you are looking for a refund", "well no, I said that was the stores suggestion", to which he said "I can offer you $25 or a $50 store credit." My immediate response was "That is an insult, we paid good money for quality furniture and have not been able to fully use the chair." Going on to explain all of the above, to which he replied "I can make it $50." "I said fine, now let's get to the real issue, repair of our chair, the tech was supposed to order the parts." "I don't see anything ordered, but I will do that now." "When do you think we will get them, the tech said you have a lot of them in the warehouse."
Ready for this? "Should be 3-4 days, but could take up to 90 days." "I said what, 90 days, again, we paid good money and do not have use of the chair since delivery day." "He then said, I will order it now, anything else"? Thinking to myself, how does he know what to order, anyway completely frustrated, I said "Nothing else, as this is going nowhere." The front end was good, the after service gets a negative -20 for customer service.

Today I received my recliner that was purchased and delivered by Rooms To Go. Once the recliner was removed from the shipping container, I noticed a cut located on the right arm of the recliner. The delivery personnel and I took pictures of the damaged recliner. He informed me that I needed to contact rooms to go myself. I contacted rooms to go Customer Service and informed them of the damage. I was informed it would be replaced by the 24 or 26 of December. I stated to the customer service representative, "If you discount the price of the recliner I would consider keeping it." I was placed on hold for about two or three minutes.
The representative stated that they would not discount the recliner. I informed her that I would not have a large box container sitting in my den for two weeks. She stated that, "You assemble it together and use it," I replied, "No. I was not going to." I stated, "You all can come pick it up. Also you can cancel the replacement recliner. I had to wait two weeks to receive this recliner that was supposed to be my birthday present."
Today I spoke with a sales associate at the store in Greensboro location. She advised me that the store manager would be calling me back which he never did. The next day I called rooms to go and spoke to a person stating he was the manager. I informed him of my situation that’s stated above. He advised their policy is to take $50.00 off for the damage. I informed him it’s best to just have them pick the recliner up. He informed me it would be 12/27 before they could come and pickup the recliner.
I informed him that the large box was located in garage and needed to be picked up. I stated I would hate to place the box outside of my garage. He replied, "You can do whatever you want to. It’s yours." He then stated I call tomorrow. He called Wednesday and left a message stating they would pick up the chair on Friday 19th. Why couldn’t they have replaced the recliner the same date. This is what you called bad customer service by Rooms To Go company.

I will never purchase from Rooms To Go again. I Got my wife a Armoire for Christmas. I opened the box and, the first part I pulled out was broken in half. No damage to the box. Rooms to go has done nothing. I feel like I am out $492 dollars. I purchased it December 13th and, going into the new year with no FIX!

This past September I had a lot of furniture delivered by RTG drivers were Jainie and Astor. They damaged my floor on my staircase. Being nice they asked me not to notify RTG because they would be laid off and they would repair it! Obviously they never did. They have ignored my calls and messages! I know it’s beyond the 72 hour window but I just need to have these drivers aware you cannot conduct business this way. In the meantime I will notify BBB with these gentlemen’s names and various social media platforms not to have your delivery by these men!!

After my account information was fixed and fixed 11 days before the due date, payment was received. I started this account in September and they closed it December 29, 2026. My sofa is less than 3 years old and the spring is broken. No biggie, it's still under warranty, so I called and was asked, "How long have you been knowing the spring was bad?" I said, "about 2 months." I was then told that this would not be covered because "if you report an issue and you have been knowing about it for over 30-days, then we won't cover anything." So let me get this right, my sofa is still under warranty, but because I did not report the broken spring in 30-days or less, you all won't cover." She said, "that is correct."
DO NOT PURCHASE WARRANTY FROM ROOMS TO GO! Clearly, it is a scam. They always find a loophole when it comes time to use the warranty. They would just rather collect and pocket the money, then hassle customers when it is time for them to pay for repairs. I have been with RTG since 2011, and I have bought many many pieces of furniture, but I guess RTG no longer needs my business. All over a spring that would have cost them pocket change to repair. Hope the spring was worth my business.

Received recliner chair and after 34 days the chair is bottoming out and makes a cracking sound when in motion. Horrible quality. Tech came out and said it’s normal. I don’t see how a chair bottoming out and crackling is normal.

Rooms to Go sold me furniture that was infested with powder post beetles. My home was just renovated and every single piece of furniture and anything with wood including other furniture, cabinetry and even the framing is now at risk long term per pest control. The source was 100 confirmed and removed from the property by myself. Rooms to go then let it sit in my garage for 2 more days before evaluating it. I had to throw away tons of other items with any wood like materials in proximity to the furniture causing further financial loss. I am now going to be living in fear that this will cause further damage in the future.
I have file with the bbb and rooms to go has thus far giving me the runaround. They did not even fully refund the furniture and shorted me the sales tax and delivery. I have lost an entire week of life cleaning this mess up and missed work, etc. as well as other property that was infested that I had to discard and they are liable as they sold goods that do not meet the minimum standard of merchantable. Do not recommend!!!!

The furniture was purchased June 6 2024. Order # **. Purchase price $4100.00. We bought this furniture set for newly built house. The salesman stated that the service plan covered motorized parts only so we passed. He stated that the modular 2 is the best quality of furniture in the store and we wouldn't have any problems. So we Purchased the furniture. Weeks into the having the furniture I noticed the material was loose and wrinkle. It got worse along with the circular part of the modular making creaks and cracking sounds when you sit down. Finally decided to call Rooms to Go. After begging and pleading they sent someone to do a service call however I forgot to mention that the circular part was popping, cracking and creaking. So the technician agreed that the cushions malfunctioned and replaced certain cushions.
I decided to call back and let them know about the condition with the circular part of the sectional because for $4100 dollars the quality of this furniture is bad in which Rooms to Go need to stop selling it if they don't have a proper support plan in motion besides them trying to upsell you for buying their product that they sponsor. I talked to one person and then asked to speak to a supervisor. He took over the call and stated he was the supervisor and his name was Carl. Basically he said it was nothing he could do and this situation couldn't escalate no higher than him so the buck stops with him. He was aggressive at times and chastised me for daring to call again about another issue with their product and firmly informed me that Rooms To Go will do nothing for me now or in the future. I want Rooms To Go to send a technician back out to repair furniture.

⭐️ ZERO STARS IF I COULD. ⭐️ Rooms To Go has been, without question, the absolute worst furniture purchase and delivery experience I have ever had. First, be warned: most items in their store are not readily available. Almost everything has a delivery window of one to three months, so if you need furniture anytime soon, do not shop here. We purchased our sofa at the end of November and chose this specific set only because we were promised a delivery date of December 10th.
Delivery day arrives. One piece of the sofa is delivered correctly. The loveseat arrives without the hardware, making it completely unusable. We immediately contacted customer service and were told the missing hardware would be delivered the next day and that we could then schedule assembly. Frustrating, but we agreed.
Two days later, with no phone call, no confirmation, and no scheduled delivery, a driver randomly shows up at our home while we were out of town. This was then marked as a failed delivery even though no delivery was ever scheduled or communicated to us. They then attempted to reschedule the delivery for Tuesday, the 16th, despite the fact that we had family coming into town and had planned our entire schedule around the original delivery date which, again, is the ONLY reason we chose this sofa.
For the rescheduled delivery, we were given a delivery window of 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. I confirmed this window specifically because I needed to leave at 2:15 PM to pick up my son from school, which is 40 minutes away. I was home and waiting the entire time. At 2:30 PM, I finally received a call saying the delivery team is 23 minutes away, already outside the agreed delivery window. When they arrive, they tell us they can only stay for 15 minutes. I even left the door unlocked to ensure there were no access issues.
Then we are told they cannot deliver because an adult over 18 must be present — despite the fact that I was there, had been waiting all day, and was actively communicating with them. I even offered the most reasonable solution possible: just drop off the missing hardware and we would install it ourselves. That was refused.
We were told they could not drop off the hardware because this was now considered a “new order,” and instead they were bringing an entire replacement loveseat simply because the original arrived without hardware — an issue that was entirely their fault. We tried everything in our power to resolve this, calling customer service, corporate, and anyone we could reach, simply asking for the hardware so we could fix the issue ourselves. On December 16th, I spoke with a corporate representative named Alex, who told me we would be scheduled for delivery on the 18th. I called again, only to be told that there was no delivery scheduled for us at all. It genuinely feels like we were told whatever was necessary just to get us off the phone.
To make matters worse, my family is arriving, and we still do not have a usable loveseat. Our living room currently has a partially delivered, awful-looking package sitting in the middle of it, and despite countless calls, emails, and even visits to the store to try to pick up the hardware ourselves, we were told there was absolutely nothing they could do. We went to the store in person — no one was willing or able to help.
Because of their mistake, we will not have our loveseat at all while our family is in town. We are also traveling immediately after, which means we most likely will not receive this until January. What should have been a simple delivery has turned into weeks of stress, inconvenience, and a completely unfinished living space during the holidays.
This entire experience has been chaotic, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. Delivery dates clearly mean nothing to Rooms To Go, especially when THEY are the ones who make the mistake. We asked repeatedly to be prioritized just to receive the missing hardware and did everything possible on our end to make this work. We will never purchase from Rooms To Go again. Save yourself the stress, wasted time, and frustration. Do not shop here, especially at the Jacksonville Town Center location.

1. I Document Everything: Take pictures/videos and note times/names.
2. I Contact Rooms To Go: Call customer service immediately to report the driver and delay. And supervisor would not help. I paid premium set up and delivery. The driver broke my daughter bed then wouldn’t release order so that I could get my daughter bed. He unloaded truck and unboxed bed in road. Bed broke. Then walked away without even allowing me to sign for order all because he was upset. They refused to refund delivery fee or set up. Now they said they will be out the 11th of December and I ordered and paid in the beginning of November at the end of October smh. All because I wanted a bed that was not broken.
3. I Mention Reviews and Politely let them know I would share my experience on review sites like Yelp or Google. And complain on the store. They didn’t even care.
4. I need y'all Policy on Understanding return/complaint policies on their website. In short, it's a frequent complaint reflecting poor delivery service, to specific product issue. Princess Disney bed broke by driver and he didn’t leave instructions or screws to assemble the stuff he left without it being signed. I note times/names.
Please get my order out. My baby's bed. My daughter birthday the 16th. I want to give her that. Christmas is coming. This is sad. I need the head people to call me. This is sad. None of my stuff I got is put up and I paid for y'all to assemble. This store act like this all the time. It’s sad. I paid in full please. Before I call the BBB better bureau company on y'all frfr and I still might cause you got your money why do I have to wait so long for something I PAID for.

Bought warranty with my furniture. Cushions started collapsing. Contacted them, they ask me to send pictures so I did. Told me someone would contact me to set a time to come look at it, no one ever reached out. Then I Contacted them again and still haven't heard from anyone. That been a year ago. The delivery team which came to house was horrible an unprofessional. They were on their phones (with ear buds) the entire time talking to whom ever not paying attention to me. While the furniture was put together, it was just left and not put into place. I had to ask one of the installers if he had the hardware to finish and his response, yea I always forget this part. Heck, he even asked to arrange the chairs so he could put together the furniture without bending over. plastic and foam was not completely removed. we purchased the Sound Tech by Shaq set and was not instructed on how to set it up or given any manuals. Worse that all of this, they let the plastic and foam from the unload blow down the street in the neighborhood and did not get it or care, I had to pick it up and dispose of. Let me just tell you what.... I ordered furniture that was in stock in August and it got sold a week before delivery. When asked what could be done to make this situation right, the store manager never took accountability. I received my items on October 31. They arrived with the dresser (which the tracks were warped) and the wrong size bed, had to wait another week for my disabled son's bed to arrive. They still have not come back out to fix his new dresser. The manager in this store is the most inconsiderate and unbothered person I have ever encountered. I loved my sales rep Sulay. It's sad that everyone seems to have a bad experience at some point or another with RTG.

My name is Oscar **. I live in Spring Hill Florida and the store I purchased from is Port Ritchie. In short, I am writing this to warn other customers of their cheaply made furniture and their customer service will never get back to you so if you’re going to wait for a phone call do not hold your breath. My wife and I purchased two end tables and a cocktail table and after over a month, we finally get it delivered and the first box they open was broken. The end table was bashed in on the side. I told the truck delivery man to put it back in the truck because this is not my first But my last purchased in the store. Two days after I purchased it they cash my check. Over a month later they delivered it. Now I have to wait an undetermined amount of time for a refund because I will never shop there again.
The family across the street had the same issues with furniture purchase there. If you’re thinking of buying furniture there, give me the money and I’ll make you better furniture out of a pallet and a hacksaw. Above all we paid top dollar. It wasn’t inexpensive. Over $1300. I purchased items 20 years ago and I had the same issue. I thought by now they would clean up their act. However it’s worse than ever. You’re better off going to Ackley or Kane‘s furniture for less expensive but better quality and more prompt delivery. You’ll never get back any phone calls so if they’re telling you, they’ll call you back you’re better off just going to the store. If you don’t believe me, read their reviews, which is what I should’ve done always read reviews. They’re very helpful.

I order decoration stuff. I received it broken so bad. They send it without any protection. I called agent told me send email to them with picture. I send email and call everyday no one respond. I go back to customer service agent told me it's not their job. I need refund or replacement. Worse experience ever. Other retailers try so hard to replace broken stuff.

Edmund **, assistant manager at Rooms to Go Kids, Wesley Chapel, FL, did not offer to get me another supervisor to consider not charging me more money to rectify a trundle bed not fitting into my furniture. The delivery people dropped the bed off and told me I had 90 days to return, asked me for bottled water and skated out. A customer service person told me they would call me right away on Friday, November 21, 2025, to rectify. Saturday passed and no call. Sunday I called and the salesperson told me nobody called her. She told me that there were no thinner mattresses. Then I ordered one online through Amazon waiting on hold for her to check what could be done as the mattress did not fit. Then she comes back "yes we do have a 6" for $125 .. $69 less than the one I purchased." Great, "give me that."
Wait! They want $208 more to exchange a cheaper mattress. I say I will deliver and save the money. Ed said "no corporate won't allow that." Ok so pay more for less on something that did not fit?? That is fuzzy math and VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE for an assistant mgr! Hope corporate and his direct mgr don't mind being spoken for. I am a manager and I would be speaking to the levels of disservice and misinformation and would have worked this out for the customer. Order through Amazon and save yourself the headache. I spent $2k at Rooms to Go. I won't give them a penny more. I donated the mattress that didn't fit to a needy family. God wins!!

Customer service is terrible and the furniture that was delivered was even worse. The couches were so hard and felt completely different than in the showroom and no recourse. Never again a customer of RTG.

I will NEVER purchase furniture from Rooms To Go again. I bought the only bedroom set that was made with real wood. When I received the furniture the dresser and one nightstand had to be replaced or fixed. Since then (still within warranty) my bed frame broke and well as the leg off of the dresser. I spent way too much on this purchase for all of the items (except one nightstand and the wardrobe) to be broken before the first year of ownership had even passed.

We purchased a dining room set, two complete living room sets. Well our dining room set came with a bench that seats three people. This bench has had to be replaced three times. This last time we went to the San Antonio store. We asked to switch the bench for three seats. After an hour or so the sales associate Joey came back and said that he had found our set under a different stock number. He then said the table was now on sale and for our heartache he would trade out the whole set with 8 chairs like we needed. Well he also said he was throwing in a pillow, a $200 pillow. When the new items arrived two chairs were missing. We found out he cancelled the transaction to get a full commission on a new sale. We are now short two seats for the holiday and stuck with a new amount of payment. This should be investigated.

Purchased modern red villa 62 inch red console. Finish on console is extremely weak -- putting a normal sound bar on the top created permanent dent in the surface. Customer service sent a technician that took pictures but no resolution was offered. I will never purchase from this company again and will actively dissuade others from doing so as well.

I will never buy furniture from Rooms To Go again. The customer service has been even worse!!!! Terrible!!!! The delivery took a long time and even arrived in multiple shipments. We bought a sofa set before Labor Day, and the final piece didn’t get delivered until after Thanksgiving—past Black Friday! Unbelievable. Their customer service is terrible and never responds.

I purchased a sofa and 1/2 chair on October 2023. It was suggested by the salesperson to purchase the warranty because something always happens, stains, etc. I called today to make a claim regarding sofa cushions that pilling and a couple of stains on the 1/2 chair that I can't remove, even with the solution they gave me. After taking my information and keeping me on hold to check if I was covered, they told me that nothing I mentioned was covered. I was livid. He said I should read the service contract and that stains have to be reported within 30 days. What a bunch of bull. So, don't buy furniture at Rooms To Go and if you do, don't spend money on the service contract. It's a waste of money. I should have known, none of those warranties ever pay up.

I purchased several items the last couple of months. Some in store and some online. One of the online items was a off white linen bedding set. It arrived and upon unzipping the bag it was in, you could see that it had been sitting quite a while somewhere hot as the black zipper had bled all around the bedding where the zipper touched. Unfortunately this black mark is in the middle of the bedding. I immediately reached out to online sales. The informed me I had to email special_orders@roomstogo.com. I was to include my order number.
I emailed and attached photos on 11/12/25. I got no response. I then did an online chat with customer care on 11/13/25. I was informed to email them and include my order number and photos and that they answer in order received and that sometimes can take 24-72 hours. I waited until 11/17, after no response and emailed again. On 11/18 I reached out via phone to customer care, internet sales and was told that my request would be expedited and confirmed my email and phone for someone to reach me immediately. I still have gotten no response. I will never order from online again.

We bought a beautiful leather sectional and within a month I had them come look at it because when you sat in the recliner it had a huge gap between the seat and the back of the recliner, they added more stuffing and that help for a while, had to call them back because it got worse and all the seats on the sectional are doing the same thing, needless to say they refused to warranty it and said it was due to neglect and abuse. It is just my husband and myself in the home and occasionally our family visits. There was no neglect or abuse, just every day normal use. We have not had this a full year yet and it is breaking down badly and it is most likely not even going to last until I get it paid for! I am toughly dissatisfied with the warranty and the treatment we have received. We spent almost 7K on our furniture and deserve better than this... I will not recommend their products to anyone. Sales staff was amazing other than that RUN!

We bought the Belia 6-Pc Dual Power Reclining Sectional from Rooms To Go in January/February 2025, and honestly, it’s been falling apart since day one. For something that cost $3,500, I expected it to last more than a year — or at least not start breaking down within months. By July, the zipper on one of the cushions broke and the fluff started coming out. I called Rooms To Go and they did send a tech quickly, which I appreciated — but since then, everything has gone downhill. The springs in another section are giving out, the charging port stopped working, and the recliner doesn’t move smoothly anymore.
It’s now November, and I still don’t have the parts they promised. Every time I follow up, I’m told “the orders were combined” or that someone needs to be emailed. Meanwhile, I’m stuck with a broken couch that was supposed to be high quality. This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had with a big purchase. I really wanted to love this sectional, but between the poor craftsmanship and the slow, unorganized service, I can’t recommend Rooms To Go or the Belia set to anyone.

I ordered a fireplace with mantel with was broken when it arrived. The quality of wood was trash. It was coming apart at the seams. The screws was missing in the places that were "assembled" so we had to reassemble before we could assemble it. You would think that when you pay $600 for something it would be quality but NO. I ordered online. BIG MISTAKE. The store was NO HELP FOR ONLINE ORDERS (imagine that). This was not my first time purchasing from them so I trusted the process. NEVER WILL I EVER PURCHASE FROM OR RECOMMEND THEM AGAIN AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE.

We have been a customer for many years and the first living room set held up very well. March of last year we wanted to update our living room. Considering how the current set held up we went back to RTG to replace it. We purchased a new power reclining sofa and love seat set. Delivery was scheduled for a week later. We had the old furniture removed the day before our scheduled delivery. Our new furniture finally arrived at 10pm that night. That was the first problem. A little over a year the seats began to sag and a service repair was scheduled. The tech arrived as scheduled and informed us that the foam was breaking down. We were told that foam is not covered by protection plan. It appears that their quality and service has gone town hill as prices have gone up.

I purchased an expensive top grain leather sofa/loveseat/recliner set less than two years ago. I noticed ‘blooming’ of the leather (white, ashy film) within months of buying it but used the conditioner they provided and it would go away, then resurface. It’s becoming an eye sore, so I reached out to customer service ONLY to advise what could be the issue and any suggestions to troubleshoot. I received unhelpful responses, but mainly it’s been nearly two years and nothing they can do. I only found out the term ‘blooming’ from extensive online research and really frustrated they couldn’t be a little more helpful. Used to be an Ashley customer until R2G won me over with their selection, but never again. They get your money (thousands from me!), and you’re nothing after that.

Rooms to Go sold me a defective mattress that caused me back pain and refused a refund even after I called corporate in tears. The whole exchange was extremely capitalistic, predatory and downright cold. I am a grad student who had to buy a bed within a certain price range, adjustable was added unnecessarily, I got the Darlington, queen sized and it has caused me severe back pain, I’ve slept in a hotel, with family, because the bed is literally a death trap. I have severe emotional distress not being able to sleep let alone wake up for work because of this bed. I told them I do not have 600 dollars more to pay for the exchange of the bed from the delivery, to the exchange, (simply paying a fee for it to be changed out), to just a better softer mattress for a mistake they made.
I’ve spent hundreds trying to fix their mistake with two mattress toppers, other living arrangements and the like they care more about their policy than the well being of the consumer please don’t shop with them ever. I just want a refund that’s it where I can get a better mattress within my budget not paying hundreds more for a mistake they caused me as the consumer I’m now filing a BBB and CFPB complaint. I will also be contacting my state attorney’s office. The company should not be trusted.

I have used Rooms to Go many times in my life and throughout our family moves, and it’s always hit or miss with them. Delivery is rarely smooth, customer service tends to have an attitude, and their follow up is non existent. I gave them another shot this week, and yet again, pure frustration and disappointment. Delivery driver rang doorbell, my mom barely had time to make it to the front door, and he was gone.
The solution after nearly 40 minutes of trying to get in touch with someone almost immediately after he left… “wait 48 hours and go online and reschedule.” When I finally did get in touch with someone, she was rude and rather than problem solving and trying to get the driver back, stated “he sat at your house for 15 minutes… you’ll have to reschedule.” I couldn’t believe this person thought she could straight lie, when I have the entire situation on video from my doorbell camera. Laziness and poor service is taking over so many industries.
I finally spoke with a manager who said she’d confirm the reschedule within 30 minutes… and of course, there was no call back. Two hours later, no confirmation in email, I called back and yet again had to explain the situation all over again. When asking for a direct manager name and email to file a formal complaint, I was met with resistance. Whoever is running this company is failing. And failing hard.

I purchased a Shag Sound Tech Recliner from Room to go and it the worse product I’ve spent $1800.00 for. The commercial stay it is so comfortable a person can sleep in it. After 2 months, I can feel the springs in the seat and the sound does not sync with your home system. It misleads the customer to think Shaq’s height fits in the recliner comfortably. I am 5’8” and my feet dangle off the edge when reclined. I filed a complaint with the BBB and 10/28/2025 receive a call from their headquarters. I was told that it seems like it is a preference issue not any type of defect. I told the commercial is very misleading and deceptive to customers. To placate me she stated she would have someone call me about pairing the sound. Basically, you paid for the recliner so you will need to deal with your preference in recliners.

Completely disappointed with Rooms To Go. I purchased a $5,000 sectional from them and within a year the handle on the non powered recliner broke and one of our powered recliners is sagging. The tech came out to inspect and confirmed it was a manufacturer defect. I paid for the additional warranty thankfully but what I was told at time of purchase was if there were any issues inside the 3 year period there would be a total replacement of the recliner. This is not the case at all. They ordered parts to fix them instead which is fine but they did not even order the parts for 6 days and now it has been 4 weeks since the parts were ordered and the parts still have not shipped. It's ridiculous to pay this much for furniture with additional warranty to go this long without even being able to use the recliner and to be told by the rep it could take up to 90 days. There is no reason it should take 3 months to ship parts.

I purchased a tv stand online. When I got it, it was defective. I called the phone number on the email confirmation for the order. When I spoke with them, they said they couldn't help because they only deal with internet sales. My concern relates to an internet sale so I'm confused. They told me to email special_oders@roomstogo.com to ask for a credit because of the product defects. I emailed on 10/21/2025 but I never got a confirmation of my email nor a response. I won't buy from them anymore. I have attached photos of the defects.

Purchased a Recliner with Bluetooth capability. Couldn’t pair it to tv. Called customer service and they sent “as a courtesy” a tech to our house. He was able to pair and we had speakers working on our tv as well as speakers working in the chair. Went to bed and when we turned on the tv there was no sound from our tv speakers, just the recliner. Called up customer service to ask for help. They refused. Spoke to their supervisor Dion. She refused to get a tech out to help us. The manager at Boca Raton RTG also said he couldn’t help as customers service was basically his boss. They tried to say it’s my tv so not their problem but remember the tech had all speakers working. Now we only have the recliner speakers. Terrible experience. We bought a warranty which would not cover any help with this.

Bought 10k in furniture and the quality is crap. The legs fell apart on our sectional (just crumbled). They charged me to get new legs 7 months ago and I still don't have them. The legs shouldn't fall apart 1.5 - 2 years after purchase. Do better. You still have my money for the legs...I've called numerous times before I wrote this review.

I had a very bad experience with Rooms To Go regarding a warranty claim for my table. When we filed the claim, a technician came and inspected the table. He clearly told us that the table would be replaced within 3–5 days. It has now been over two weeks, and no one has called or shown up. When we contacted customer service again, they told us that there is no record of our warranty claim — seriously? How can a company lose a warranty request after sending a technician to our home? This level of unprofessionalism and poor communication is completely unacceptable. It feels like no one at Rooms To Go takes responsibility or values their customers’ time. I would never recommend Rooms To Go to anyone after this experience. They seriously need to improve their customer service, follow-up process, and accountability.

Store manager Mr ** is a joke & negates complaints from concerned veterans. Almost two yrs of purchasing three furniture complete sets and still have broken and faulty love seats, three seaters, bed frames, and dressers! TIME TO FACE THE MUSIC VERO BEACH STORE AND MAKE IT RIGHT! I’m gearing up for a HUGE lawsuit & you definitely will be shown in a AWFULLY BAD LIGHT. It will be known & shown how you treat customers. Disrespecting Veterans and refusing to respond to emails or even return left voicemails. Do yourself a favor & RUN away from this location!!!!

Updated on 01/24/2026: RTG replaced my 105 lb King mattress with a 93 lb unit (12 lb / 11.4% downgrade) and is ignoring an approved Queen replacement. I’ve filed complaints with the Texas Attorney General and BBB. Do not rely on their warranty. Buyers should be cautious.
Original Review: Rooms To Go sales is fantastic but service after sales is most awful service, you can keep calling the customer service and excuses what you get is crazy, we bought mattress from Rooms to go and started having issues in next 8 months. We started calling the warranty department and they send someone for checking the mattress and he says, "Oh mattress has issues because you sleep on it," I am surprised. Are we suppose to keep the mattress on the closet for a show wow, I wasn’t aware of that and then they refused to change the mattress because it’s defective piece.
As went back to store the store manager agreed that they had received one lot of defective pieces and there wasn’t issue. They could help me to change. It’s been 3 years, I am still struggling with the same mattress which is not the normal company. After paying hell amount of money for the past three years they still don’t want to change and it has 10 years warranty. Please don’t purchase anything with this guys. They are fully fraud

Over the last year or so we have purchased close to $20,000 worth of furniture. Our recent kitchen set purchase has been a nightmare. They have replaced the set 3 times and we have had service people out twice. We tried to find a replacement set from them but was not able to find one. We did find a furniture repair company that could potentially resolve the issues we have. The purchase price was around $2,700. The manager of the store told us if we keep the set, they would give us around $200 back. We estimated the repairs to be approximately $600 so this is well short. I even emailed the CEO and District manager but neither responded. Very disappointed in their customer service.

Updated on 10/22/2025: Your delivery team showed up today and was very disorganized and appeared not to want to assist in the appropriate manner. The supervisor and the team were extremely rude. They insisted on testing a product that we’ve already had tested on numerous visits. All they needed to do was to replace the product. We’ve already determined from 4 previous visits that these couches are defective. They appeared to want to take the easier approach to the process, Dismantle box inside my home which has never happened before. They have always dismantled the box at the facility. Talked Spanish instead of English to circumvent the English discussion. The supervisor was very rude over the phone as it concerns my home saying that they don’t have to put slippers on when they come in my house.
I do not want a box dismantled in my home. It has never happened before in the previous visits. Take this sofa back and refund my cash back to my account. This is unacceptable since 7/30/25. Why? Refund my 3200…we have been patient. Since I have ways to communicate with Shaq due to my connections…I will give him a call directly. This is a botched product with his name on it??? So, we need to receive our refund and this sofa be picked up. Let us know the appropriate approach.
Original Review: On August 30, 2025 we had a $3900 sofa from the Shaq collection delivered to our home. The speakers on the sofa didn’t work from the first delivery. They delivered another sofa two weeks later. Those speakers didn’t work. Then they sent a tech guy to come test out the speakers he found that there was a problem with the box behind the sofa and the wiring defective. On October 22, 2025 they will be delivering another sofa. It appears that this product is defective. We should not be going through these problems with a $3900 sofa. If the sofa delivered on 22nd of October is defective we will want our money refunded and the sofa picked up for a final resolve. This is completely unacceptable and extremely disappointing to be spending this kind of money and almost 2 months later not able to enjoy it.

I walked in Rooms to Go on a Sunday night, nothing to much just to browse. When I walked in, I was greeted by Ms. **, she had the warmest smile and the sweetest soul, so I told her I was looking for a mattress because after the greeting I knew I wanted her to be my salesperson. Ms. ** answered all my questions and was there even when I laid on almost every mattress in the store. I did buy a mattress that night and I walked away with a smile. Rooms To Go is the worst Furniture I have ever dealt with. Purchased 3 pcs. Of furniture. Dining Room Set. Leather Recliner. Leather Recliner. Loveseat. Two of the 3 have had quality issues - We purchased the warranty and now we are being told it will be 90 days before we can get a replacement- even though they have the pcs in stock. Terrible Customer Service - they do not stand behind their product or care about the customer once the purchase is made. Callers have to go thru a obstacle course to speak with a person. Then you get the canned response- "Sorry I can’t help you."

I purchased the Rooms to Go Geneva sectional couch on February 12 2025. Initially I loved it. However it soon began showing white threads poking through the blue fabric. I called customer service and they said they could have a technician come to look at it. A technician came on May 20 and brought a fabric shaver, spent about 20 minutes “shaving” my couch and told me that eventually once all the white threads were removed through weekly “shaving” the white threads would stop coming through. Now it’s been 5 months of shaving my couch and it’s worse than ever. You can see the difference in color and texture from the sleeper section to the exposed couch. I’ve contacted customer service several times and they insist this is normal wear and tear. This couch is not even a year old and it looks horrible. I am at my wits end and extremely disappointed in the response from rooms to go. I will never purchase furniture from them again.

Beware! All 3 of power recliners don't work and I call them to pay serviceman out of my own pocket and they tell me, because I didn't have insurance on set that they can't help me. I asked for mfr phone number and they say they discontinued that vendor and they can't help me! I spent 14,000$ at this Port Richey store and they don't want to help me at all. This set stopped working 1 and 1/2 yrs since purchase. The most uncaring people I've ever dealt with.

I'm want to share bad experience we had. We purchase furniture and decide not to get it at this moment due to our house been renovated. We went back to store to cancel order we never received or took possession. When we originally purchased furniture $5000+ we were offered special financing and it's starting when furniture delivered. We were told by our sales associate that we need to pay for sales tax and delivery so we did. When we came to cancel the order we were told that money for sales tax and delivery non refundable and we can use as store credit so from my understanding Rooms To Go stealing sales tax from customer and probably from government.

If I could leave a 0 star I would definitely do it!! We got all the furniture from Rooms to Go and we are really disappointed!! Bad quality and when it comes to the warranty, guess what!! Of cours,e they don’t cover anything! They send over a technician who made the stains worse than before and when we sent the pictures over to them, they said, "Unfortunately, we don’t cover this type of stains!!" Bullshits!!! What’s the reason that we pay for the insurance then??? Beware poor quality leather. After a year, our recliner sofa showed significant wear on the leather seams and surfaces. Also the mechanism broke after a few months, and customer service never got the part, so we ordered it and replaced it ourselves. We have other leather furniture that is more than 15 years old and in perfect condition. You get what you pay for.

They're awful... Just read the other reviews. We bought from them THREE times because we had bad credit and nobody else would finance us, and regretted it, EVERY SINGLE time... Now that we can afford to pay cash, there's not a soul in this world that could convince me to use them ever again. I Sincerely can't understand how they're still in business. It's either shoddy trash furniture, poor customer service, broken items and broken promises, or it's lies and more lies. If I could afford it, I'd probably sue them.

My husband and I purchased a Beautyrest World Class Level 3 Plush mattress and foundation in July which was delivered on 7/27/25. This will be the 5th mattress in 10 years we’ve had as a replacement. 1st Therapedic memory foam mattress literally broke down in the middle. We wound up sleeping in a 2”+ hole. This was less than 5 years after purchase. Replacement Therapedic collapsed in 2 years. Replaced it with a Beautyrest which also collapsed. Then were pressured and sold a Serra iComfort and was told by the sales rep it was the greatest mattress and their houseguests loved it. Needless to say it was horrible! Hard and uncomfortable from the first night; never got better.
Now onto the Beautyrest World Class. The rep seemed very knowledgeable of this mattress; comfort wise, durability, as well as performance. One of the selling points was the foam interior, good for side sleepers and relief of pressure points. Also with the wrapped coils, it eliminates the feel of the other person in the beds movement. Here’s our issues. Not good for side sleepers…hips fall into the grooves of the mattress waking up in pain. Have tried a down mattress topper to help in relieving this. Also my husband and I each feel the other one move. As a matter of fact, when he rolls over it goes to get off the bed, I feel like I’m going to be bounced off; neither one of us are large people.
Each of the selling points on our latest mattresss are a joke! We are tied into the warranty of our first mattress and each one thereafter, where all we can do is get a re-select. Each re-select now if it’s a matter of comfort, we’re told will be $198 on top of any delivery fees on top of a mattress that could potentially cost more than the one we currently have now. Why is it that Rooms 2 Go charges this return fee if you’re not satisfied and others don’t? Even the manufacturer Beautyrest has a free return policy if you aren’t satisfied within 100 days of purchase directly from them. Anyway, my review of our latest mattress is barely a 2. As you’ve read the ones prior shouldn’t even have a rating. The store we were sold the iComfort has since removed it from their floor due to the number of returns. I hope this helps someone.

I recently purchased a recliner chair online from Rooms To Go. I had the pleasure of working with Eddie from the Brandon store. Eddie was a true professional. Was sold a warranty and told you get any food or drink stain and warranty covers and if they can’t clean then they will replace the part. They denied my claim and stated they couldn’t help me and the best option was to get it professionally cleaned. Not sure why you would tell me to get it professionally cleaned when that voids the warranty and you’re supposed to be replacing what you can’t clean.

We purchased a sectional from Rooms-To-Go less than two years ago. The fabric is virtually completely destroyed from major pilling (which I have tried unsuccessfully to fix many times) from normal wear and tear in a two person household. The fabric is also splitting/pulling at the seams and I expect it to rip soon. The frame also snapped and had to be sent back to be repaired. Horrible quality. I didn’t expect luxury from RTG, but I didn’t expect this. Save your money and invest it elsewhere. I will never buy from RTG again. I have put a picture of the fabric picture on the seating area

I used to like shopping at Room's To Go, but I WILL NEVER AGAIN! Not only do they charge for hefty delivery, but I also purchased an extended warranty for my $2,000 couch, which was supposed to include a specific cleaning kit. I never received it with the delivery guys. When I called customer service, they gave me another 888-number to a corporate office of that product kit. How crazy is that? Then, I called the local store (not close to me), and customer service said, "You can come and get it yourself." Seriously? Why should I rush to get my overpriced cleaning kit with an overpriced extended warranty now? Why can't it be sent to me by mail? What kind of customer service is that? I am SUPER DISAPPOINTED! I will cancel the overpriced extended warranty and get a simple cleaning kit for $15. This is ABSURD!

I purchased a Cindy Crawford manual reclining sofa and within one year the pull handle from the cable broke off. Rooms to go sent someone to replace it and he was unable to replace it. I called Rooms to Go and I was approved for an exchange or re-selection. The power version is $400 more, so I decided to go with an exchange. Keep in mind, if you decide to go with the manual version, you may have to fix it yourself like I did, because the Rooms to Go Tech they sent me was not knowledgeable enough to replace it. Also, it's a pain in the A## to replace because you have to press down on the seat cushion very hard to get to the bracket that holds the handle and cable, but it can be done.
I had a Cindy Crawford Sofa before this new one that had a manual pull handle on the outside of the sofa that was a way better design, but like with so many items, these new sofas are now made with a cheap handle on the inside between the seat cushion and the arm rest. It's a very poor design. You're better off finding a sofa with the pull handle on the outside.

I have purchased several items from here and in the past had no issues but my last order and I mean my very last from this Kennesaw branch was absolutely horrible. I tried to give them an opportunity to fix the issue from sales tech. to customer care and the manager with no luck. Be careful, they will add items to your order that you did not approve and will not make things right when their sales team makes a mistake. I do not recommend using this facility at all.

I don't normally write negative reviews, but this has to be the worst experience I've ever had in my life. My wife and I tried to buy a new bed set from here, and everything went fine with sales and scheduling the delivery. But here's where things went wrong: it was not communicated to me that I paid for delivery and setup. So when they arrived here, I had them put all of the items in our living room cause I hadn't taken apart our old set yet. I had fully expected to put this all together myself. So I started working on it that evening and discovered that the center support of the bedframe was missing, then found out the drawer supports on the right side were defective and didn't line up with the side of the frame. I submitted the customer service issue the next morning and sent in the pictures on their awful website. They said they didn't get them when I called back in later that afternoon.
Fortunately, one of their customer service reps was helpful and had me email my pictures directly. He reviewed them and said that yes, the part was missing and defective. So he said that the parts would be "overnighted" for me, which sounds nice but isn't actually the case. He said as soon as it ships out, you'll get an email with tracking information.
So I called again on Wednesday evening and said I still didn't have tracking information, so they said it should ship out tomorrow. I called back on Thursday morning, still no tracking information, and they said it takes "24 hours" to process parts requests, and all they can do is email the warehouse and process those requests in the order they are received. So now I'm in a "queue" to receive missing parts on a failed order. I called again Friday morning and spoke to a manager, and they said it will ship out today, but no guarantee it will be delivered that day, so I said ok, now we're getting somewhere. Then I called back Friday evening and still didn't have tracking information and got escalated to another customer service manager who had the audacity to tell me that I wouldn't get it till next Wednesday, AND I'd have to pay a $100 delivery fee...needless to say, I was furious.
So I decided to go back to the storeroom where we purchased the bed set and spoke to the manager there, and he said we'd get this straightened out, and they would cancel the parts order and ship us a brand new bed frame and take out the defective bed, and we'd get it early this week. So I said ok, that sounds like we're finally getting somewhere but oh how wrong we were. The delivery day came again for the new frame, and the guys only had the missing parts and not the frame; they didn't even have the correct parts on the truck. I'm so done with Rooms To Go and will never be ordering from this place ever again, and they should be ashamed of the customer service that they've given.

Purchased the Wildwood Grove 2 Pc Sectional and ottoman. Poorly made furniture: cushions keep sliding off (they do not stay in place), pillows on the back rest bunch up, black dots everywhere due to pilling on the fabric, seat cushion sink in (had to add blankets under all the cushions) and bottom frame broke on one side of the couch. Protection plan is not what service was expected for the price we paid. Filed a claim for broken frame and all they did was add an L bracket and nails to hold it back up. Reviews on the website are very misleading. You can only leave a review immediately after your purchase. So you would not be able to give an honest review after having the furniture for awhile and using it. Would never purchase from Rooms To Go again.

Let me start by saying I would give Rooms To Go a ZERO Star rating if I could. We went looking for a quality adjustable bed since I have several medical conditions and an upcoming major surgery. To this end we visited this store since we have several other things from this store and had no issues in past. I should have looked for the reviews before going there. Several people complained about the mattress, the Management or lack thereof, the sales person and how they are just looking for a sale for commission, the lack of transparency before making the purchase as to returns. What is their policy on mattresses and adjustable bases.
First we weren't shown any other mattresses but the Tempur-Pedic brand by the sales person. Never informed us of the Rooms to go mattress policy. Which if you reading this and are planning on purchasing a new bed and mattress, is there are no returns after delivery or exchanges until after 30 days with a new delivery and restocking fee. Plus it has to be for equal or greater value. So you will need to spend more money.
I am a disabled combat veteran who suffer from many conditions and what we wanted was a bed and mattress that would help me. We explained this to the sales person and the two managers. We explained to all of them I have a major surgery scheduled on the 7th of October 2025. So there was a medical necessity for this bed. One would assume they would look out for someone like me and guide me towards a bed that would work for me and all my medical conditions. The truth is all they cared about was making the sale and getting their money.
The beds were delivered on the 19th of October 2025 and from that day we have not been able to sleep on this new bed. The mattresses are not soft but hard as cement. I contacted Rooms to go on 20 October 2025 and made a complaint and asked for them to take back the bed. This is when they told us what the policy was. I called and tried to talk with a manager but no one was available. We went to rooms to go and the manager acted as if he had no idea what was going on. This is when we were given a hard copy of the policy. We were also told to give it time, walk on the mattress, have the friend and family jump and walk on them because they would not change them.
As per their policy "we can only change the mattresses with permission from the head office". The catch is we have to pay for a second delivery fee, the difference if the mattresses are more expensive. If the mattresses are less; then we have to buy more merchandise to make up the difference in the original sale and an additional exchange fee. In the meantime we are without sleep. I am in pain, dealing with my PTSD and getting ready for my 20th major surgery. Thank you Rooms To Go.

In 2022 I purchase the Cindy Crawford line sectional sofa. 3 months later the cushions began to sink and pillows flattened. I contacted the store about 3 months later and they picked up the old and replaced it with a new one. At the time I didn't visit my living room area much and it's just my husband and I. About a year later we started having the same problem again but remember we rarely used it. I contacted them again and they said the 1 year warranty had run out and there was nothing they could do. I would expect a $1800 sofa to last more than a year. I work too hard for my money now I'm stuck with this couch and embarrassed when I have guest over. Cindy Crawford can do better, I bet she doesn't have this quality in her home, so why make it for ours. This sofa is depressing and I regret giving rooms-to-go any of my money.

We purchase a great deal of furniture from Rooms to Go. We felt confident in the sale force at RTG. However after one year you're out of luck getting anything resolved with a faulty piece of furniture. We purchased the Siesta Key Patio set L shaped couch, coffee and end table, dining set and 6 chairs. The dining table came in a Eucalyptus all weather outdoor, wood material that the sales person said will last a lifetime. However just shortly after our 1 year expiration, the top cracked. We kept it inside while we were not here so it was more protected than most patio furniture. Customer service would not assist as we were out of the 1 year time frame. I asked if the manufacture would honor it and Rep was not helpful - just reiterated that the 1 year was over and there was nothing they could do. Hugh disappointment. I would hesitate to purchase anything from them again. We've spend $7550.00 there and no one seemed to care. We live - We learn.

I will never buy furniture from Rooms To Go again. For the price they charge, the quality is extremely poor, and the customer service has been even worse. We purchased a loft bed and a dresser. The installation team did a subpar job setting up the bed—it was wobbly from the start. Because of the instability, our CPU (which was placed nearby) fell and was damaged beyond repair. When I reported this, the company refused to take responsibility and even said that my son shouldn't move so much while in bed. That’s not only dismissive—it’s ridiculous.
It took five phone calls before someone finally came out to reinstall the bed correctly. Now, not long after, one of the dresser drawer rails has come apart because the screw is stripped and the wood anchoring it is split. Again, very poor craftsmanship. This has been an exhausting and disappointing experience from start to finish. I expected much better, and I would not recommend Rooms To Go to anyone.

I originally purchased the Headliners leather sectional, ten months later we had issues with the console and LAF recliner and since it was being discontinued parts weren't available. We received full credit to purchase another set and opted for the Drew and Jonathan Marquee set which is basically the same as The Headliners sectional. I still can't get a straight answer on the console and whether or not mine is defective or just a design flaw from hell.
The console has a 2 inch gap in front of the drink holders and you will most definitely lose something down that hole when it falls down and the only way to retrieve said item is by unhooking the pieces and shaking the console upside down until the item is within reach. This has been a total nightmare. Anytime we have company, I have to give them a heads up. Up to date, four items have fallen in there. The sectional is beautiful, but DO NOT buy the console.

The worst company to deal with. They give you a hard time to return things. I bought mattresses that were close to $6000 and it started to sag on the side within three months of purchase. Went back to the store. They refused to give me back the money and made me buy another mattress. The one we selected was much less again. They refused to credit me and forced me to buy something that had to do with bedding. Couldn’t even give me a credit to buy anything else on the store. The salesman talked us into getting another mattress for another room which we really didn’t need and also some pillows.
The pillows on the floor did not say anything about having latex when they came in. In the box that was sealed the box itself had the word latex. I called the store to tell them I was allergic to latex and they refused to return, even though the box is completely sealed or let me select other pillows that did not have latex. I recommend any other furniture store than this one.

Do not think by getting a credit card and purchasing with 0 interest will actually eliminate the fees. I just received my statement that shows "Promo fees" totaling $85 & "EQUAL PAYMENT NO INTEREST" fee for almost $500....WTF?!? Mind you, I have NEVER been late, I have my $200 on auto pay monthly. If you do decide to purchase, STAY ON THEIR ASS! It's ridiculous how much these companies steal if you don't pay attention. DISPUTE EVERYTHING! ****SECOND UPDATE: Rooms to Go is replacing the loveseat, which was half of the issue. The sofa was marked "repaired," but it was missing parts. The technician accidentally threw out some of the parts instead of installing them. They have ordered parts, again, and apparently have another month window to receive them. The entire situation is nearly laughable at this point. It bears repeating though - DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ROOMS TO GO. Also, they keep commenting that they'd like to speak to me about the issue upon seeing the negative review(s). Out of courtesy, I did call them, but the message is the same each time - "there's nothing we can do." Rooms to Go - no need to feign interest and comment again.
****UPDATE: I posted the below review last week. Yesterday, a technician came out and spent several hours replacing the 4 mechanisms that were supposed to fix the issues. They did not. Now they need to order more parts and we have no estimate on when the work will be completed. Also, we were told a couple weeks ago that the technician was out sick, which is why our appointment had to be rescheduled. He clarified that he wasn't out sick that day, but was assigned too many work orders to keep up with so several had to be canceled. I was hoping for a better update, but it's only gotten worse. I would highly recommend you stay away from this company. Communication and integrity are obviously not priorities for Rooms to Go and the customer service is as bad as I've ever experienced.
We purchased a power sofa and loveseat here a couple years ago and purchased the extended warranty with the furniture. The furniture was fine until the "mechanisms" in all 4 reclining seats broke. We called the warranty company and scheduled a technician visit. The technician came out on 7/14 and determined that all the parts needed to be replaced. He also mentioned that it would be very costly for to company since it's a long and tedious job, so we should ask about a replacement credit toward a new set.
A week later the representative called and said they'd have to order parts. I mentioned what the technician said and the representative said that they could call me with the cost of the repair and that we could choose whether to repair the furniture or use the credit towards a new set. A week or two later, 4 massive boxes showed up at my house containing all of the repair parts. I called to ask why we weren't given the credit option and was told that never happens - they only do repairs. I attempted to schedule the repair but was told that they'd have to call me back to schedule it.
I waited another week and didn't get a call, so I called again. They set an appointment but the soonest available was 8/20 - 6 weeks after we initially called them. I accepted the appointment but the technician didn't show up and that evening they called and said we needed to reschedule. I've been unable to reach them until today, a week after the missed appointment. We have the repair scheduled for a week from now, but I've lost confidence. Assuming the technician shows up and is able to make the repair, it will have taken 2 months from the time we contacted them to get our furniture repaired, which is ridiculous.
We have purchased lots of furniture from Rooms to Go over the past 10 years, but will never again do so. It should not take months to get furniture repaired - especially when customers paid an additional cost for a "hassle free" extended warranty. I would strongly suggest that you purchase furniture elsewhere. If you must have something from Rooms to Go, do yourself a favor and do not purchase the extended warranty.

They are a dishonest business. Billed for insurance they never asked if it was wanted. Gave us a delivery date then pushed it back. If want a refund it will take at least 3 weeks. Do not purchase from them.

Follow up from a dissatisfied customer. I submitted a complaint to Rooms To Go customer services June 2025. Rooms to Go and I reached a solution with my brown leather reclining sofa and chair set. After reviewing my complaint, images of my merchandise and the one year manufacture warranty for my product had expired, customer service offered me an option to reselect new furniture.
I went to the Rooms To Go Show Room in October in Montgomery AL and picked out another brown reclining sofa and chair set. The set I chose was Drew and Johnathan, it was on backed order until December. My new furniture was delivered today and I’m a very happy customer. My recent experience with Rooms To Go was very disappointing regarding issues with order on 9/9/23. I purchased a leather Dual Power Recliner and the Reclining matching chair. The sofa has some discoloration and fading on the seat and part of the sofa arm rest. I contacted the GPPCLAIMS.Com (Warranty Department). I purchased a three year extended warranty for protection when the manufacturer warranty expires. I submitted my claim and uploaded pictures the sofa. The claim department denied my claim, because the extended warranty doesn’t cover fading and discoloration. I contacted Rooms To Go in Montgomery, AL and spoke with the sale person and a manager of the store and he will look into the matter to help get this resolved.
The manager from the store spoke with someone who was a manager/supervisor over the claim the department and she supported the decision from the claim department. The furniture is not two years old. My furniture shouldn’t have discoloration and fading problems appearances. I have been a Rooms To Go customer since 2006. I’ve made several substantial purchases from the Rooms to Go Show Room which includes Bedrooms, Dining Rooms and Den furniture, but I never had a problem with any my furniture until now. I purchased a bedroom set from Rooms To Go on 3/14/25. I was a faithful customer of Rooms To Go until this situation occurred. I submitted another claim for the brown leather sofa about the coffee spill stain on the sofa.
My claim was denied because the spill happened on the same part of the discoloration and fading. The extended warranty cover spills and stains, but not that part where the discoloration and fading is on the sofa. I didn’t cause the discoloration, apparently it’s a manufacturing problem with the leather the sofa is made with. I disputed the claim on 7/3/25, requesting to send a technician out to my house because the spill stains are not visible on the pictures. My appeal was denied. I appeal again, I received an email from Guardian on 8/5/2025 stating, Guardian has reviewed your claim and has determined that it will remain ineligible for coverage as it does not meet the plan guidelines.
My claim from the spill was denied because the previous reported claims on discoloration pictures that occurred from the material. I purchased this same furniture in 2021 and the same discoloration and fading appeared on the chair. I reported the claim August 2023 and Rooms To Go sent me an email to go return the furniture and pick out new furniture to replace the furniture with discoloration and fading that appeared on the leather. I did go to Rooms to Go to pick the same sofa and chair set.
Apparently this brown Dual Leather set has some type of defect in the leather material. First time the chair, second time it was the sofa. My warranty is still valid but won't cover any spills, stains that happen on the side with the discoloration. I shouldn’t have coffee spill stains and discoloration on my sofa that nots two years old in my home because of defective material. I didn’t know I would have so many problem and complications with this purchase.

Purchased a new mattress with a adjustable base. Discovered that it was very difficult to make. Both my wife and myself are disabled. Upon trying to change the set we Discovered the base could not be returned. The salesperson should have stated that. So it would be a lost of about $800 dollars. Liz in customer service was very helpful but to no avail. Policy is Policy is their answer. So when you are making a purchase ask every question you can think of.

Rooms To Go Review. I honestly don’t know where to start. Two years ago, I purchased a leather recliner sofa set from Rooms To Go for over $6,000, along with the protection plan they sold me. This wasn’t a standard set, I had it built so that all the chairs reclined, which cost extra. About a year and a half later, one of the recliners started peeling. Early this year I contacted the warranty department, sent in all the required pictures, and then heard nothing back for six months. After chasing them down again, I finally spoke to someone who told me the sofa was discontinued and the only option was to give me store credit. I didn’t want that, I just wanted the one piece replaced. After going back and forth, I was told I’d have to return the entire set for a new one.
On top of that, because my original order was split into multiple receipts, they initially only wanted to give me credit for one piece. It took me escalating the issue all the way to the corporate office before someone finally helped me. Even then, instead of honoring the $6,000 I paid, they reduced it to $4,800 because of “wear and tear.” When I went to select a replacement, I was told that if I didn’t spend the full $4,800, I would lose the remaining balance. So I had no choice but to pick something equal to or higher than that price. The set I chose came to $5,500—plus they charged me another $300 delivery fee, even though I already paid that on my first purchase. To me, this is completely unfair. I bought what was supposed to be a high-quality sofa set, but within a year and a half it started falling apart. Then instead of making things right, Rooms To Go made the process confusing, stressful, and expensive.

Sales rep Charles (Clermont showroom): 10/10 – he did everything he could to help.
Bottom line: Be very careful when buying from Rooms To Go. Make sure you fully understand what you’re purchasing, what the warranty actually covers, and what happens if you need to make a claim. After being a longtime customer, this experience has completely changed how I feel about this company.

This was confirmed by the Regional Sales Training person located in the store the same day we made the purchase. Great, we thought. The day we picked up the items, we asked for some proof of the manufacturer's warranty and were informed by the store manager that since our items were marked with the red-tag final sale, no warranty was allowed. Our fantastic salesperson Austin then confirmed to the store manager that we had never been told this. Totally unprofessional and unethical.

I want to share my experience with Rooms To Go so that others are aware before making a purchase. In 2023, I purchased a dining set from RTG, along with a protection plan. Recently I filed a warranty claim, I was approved to reselect a new table. At no point was I told, either in the store, over the phone, or in the paperwork, that this also required returning the four dining chairs. I proceeded in good faith, believing the reselection was for the table only.
The situation quickly spiraled. The delivery went through even though I tried to stop it once I realized there was confusion. Later, I was told I now owe nearly $800 for chairs I never agreed to return or repurchase. Despite explaining the situation multiple times (to their staff, through the BBB, and even the Texas Attorney General’s office), Rooms To Go continues to demand payment. I even offered a $200 settlement simply to close this matter and avoid unnecessary stress, but my emails have gone unanswered. Instead, I keep receiving collection-style letters and calls, which is both frustrating and disheartening.
What makes this worse is that I’ve spent nearly $10,000 furnishing my home with Rooms To Go and had recommended them to friends based on their reputation. This entire experience of miscommunication, lack of accountability, and silence from their corporate office has completely eroded my trust. To add insult to injury, a separate warranty issue with my TV console, which should have been a straightforward parts replacement, was simply canceled by Rooms To Go without notice, seemingly because of this unrelated dispute. That shows me this is not about customer service, it’s about deflecting responsibility.
I don’t normally write reviews, but I feel it’s important to warn others. Once you’re locked into a dispute with Rooms To Go, even one caused by their own unclear communication, you may end up with a balance you never agreed to, ignored emails, and potential credit risk. At this point, I’m simply disappointed. I expected a company of this size to take accountability, communicate clearly, and stand behind their word. Instead, they’ve left a loyal customer feeling stressed, unheard, and misled.

SPENT OVER $6,000 and Very disappointed in the service from DAY ONE. Delivered a center console as part of our living room set that was defective. Exchanged that for an armless reclining piece for our sofa and am now told they only financed it for 12 months when our original purchase was for 58 months. Called the store and they stated there was nothing they can do but SYNCHRONY Bank says they can change it. We are still waiting on the two end recliners that were delivered defective as well. This company does nothing for the inconvenience they caused and we will not buy from them again. Wish we had read the negative reviews before our purchase!

Made a disappointing purchase online from Rooms To Go. Purchased the Sound Tech by Shaq Black Leather Triple Reclining Sofa with Audio. The sofa was delivered (on a Saturday early am) arrived out of the box and set up. The sound linked to my tv and we enjoyed for that day. The following day, the sound did not work and has not worked since. I have now purchased a sofa which is not providing sound as advertised. I made contact to Rooms to go on Sunday and was told I would need to reach out to customer service.
Monday I contacted customer service and got an appointment for Thursday. On Thursday, the tech shows up and unfortunately did not have a clue to how to get corrected. I am now told I need to wait up to 5 additional days for someone to reach back out to me to see what they can do. Really? In the meantime, I have a piece of furniture not doing what it was purchased to do. Hmmm, wonder if Shaq knows his name is associated with this. Would not purchase this piece or purchase from Rooms To Go again if this is the process. Is no star an option? Rooms To Go do better.

Ordered a couch on August 3rd, they said earliest they could deliver was August 18th. Once delivered it was missing the couch...only had the chaise. When I said this was unacceptable they said they could get me the new part in 8 days...I said I can't go without a couch that long. Called customer service and they said they would not be willing to prioritize getting my missing piece because they had planned other shipments. When I asked for compensation they offered $50 on a $130 delivery fee...that they messed up. Would not recommend ordering online from them. It causes a bigger headache than it is worth.

I purchased a couch nearly a month ago from Rooms To Go. I wanted it as soon as possible but they said today was the soonest they could get it to me. Despite paying them $89.99 plus tax to deliver it (they said there was no option for free delivery), they have still not delivered it. They were SUPPOSED to deliver it today, I left them a message that I have a steep driveway but there is room to turn around at the top, yet they sent a truck that they say is too big to go up the driveway. They at first claimed they had no smaller truck, either. I had been told by them that I needed to get rid of my old couch before they came, which they said would cost me $25, using the company they referred me to. It in fact cost me $85, but I now have no couch in my living room, either the old one nor the new one.
At first I was told there was nothing they could do about the fact they can not get it up my driveway despite having been paid to do so and despite the fact they are a furniture company that charged me to deliver my couch, and presumably they have encountered driveways that were not flat before, Eventually they put me through to a supervisor that said they could reschedule it but it would be another week, so my son and I have to sit on the floor for another week. They would not even consider taking $25 of the money they had been paid and going to Lowe's to rent a truck since they came unprepared. I asked whether they would do a partial refund of the delivery fee for the inconvenience and they refused to do that, as well. They said they could not even consider doing that until after they delivered the couch.
In any event, never again will I buy furniture from Rooms To Go. So far, it has cost me more than $175 in addition to the cost of the couch, and a month later, I still have no couch. They gave no good reason WHY it will take another week to get my couch to me, either. Also, it took them over an hour to fill out the paperwork for a simple couch purchase. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Do not buy!!! I ordered the modular one. To start, the delivery person told my son he was authorized to leave the furniture in front of the door smh. Luckily, my son called me. To add insult to injury, the sofa is missing a piece needed to put it together. I called and after an hour was able to agree for next day delivery only to find the wrong part was again ordered. I'm told by customer service there's nothing they can do except schedule another delivery. At this point that's 12 hrs of time missed from work for something I have to pay for. Disappointment is an understatement!

Rooms To Go and Guardian (Extended Warranty) are a scam. Please go to a more reputable company to buy from. These people will tell you anything to make a sale and then provide reasons as to why your furniture is not covered. The customer service team is sketchy and rude. I asked for supervisor support and Carolina said no one is available because they are short staffed and it will be days before someone will call me back. BEWARE and PLEASE STAY AWAY!

Disappointed. Purchased a small loveseat for a tiny apartment for seating and I’ve only had it a month and the cushion is already sagging and I’ve only sat on it a handful of times… Was over $700 with delivery and I’m not happy about it… You only have 48 hours to return and in that time frame I hadn’t even had an opportunity to sit on it to test it out for long term seating. They need a better return policy or should stand behind their products. They aren’t durable but customer has no recourse unless it’s within 48 hours of purchase.

I bought a pretty pricey Dining set from there. It’s been sitting in my house just for the looks. No one sits on it or eats on it. As soon as warranty expires the chair's bone buttons just started falling off. On itself. I just randomly started seeing them on my floor and noticed they were from the chair. I can them and the warranty just expired so they not gonna do nothing bout it. Just know that you not buying top notch furniture with them. If it happens without an everyday use imagine using on a daily. They should do better. At least better quality.

I paid for the extended insurance and they said any defective problem with the furniture I purchased or leaks on it they'll replace it if it's not being able to solve the issue. I have purchased furniture and accessories from Rooms to Go throughout the years (in different states where I have lived) and found everything to be satisfactory in the past; however after a recent purchase I have found that the quality the customer service and products has declined. Not only is the customer service not customer focused but the extended warranties do not provide the expected benefits. My example is as follows:
I purchased a leather reclining sofa that had an ink stain. They were not able to remove the stain so they ordered a replacement part. After 90 days, I was told that they did not have any replacement parts so the sofa would need to be replaced. -- My issue: with the replacement of the sofa, I was told that this totally fulfilled the warranty. Although this was a 3-year warranty, there was no consideration for repairs (if say, the recliner motor went out for example on the replacement). Once the sofa was replacement the remaining portion of the 3-year warranty was lost. The extend warranty provided a provision to settle by giving the customer the cost of the sofa as a store credit to make a new selection, but this option was denied.
With the settlement option I would have been able to make a new selection and have a warranty for repairs. If you are wondering why I care about the repairs.... This sofa had a motor that controlled the recline aspect as well as the usb ports on each side. Given all of the electronic components, I thought the warranty was needed. The customer service agent on the phone and the manager at the store was so busy getting their points across they forgot the customer. I was not asking for anything free, but asking that they put the new replacement sofa in their inventory (it is brand new) and allow me to take my store credit and add to it if needed to purchase something with a warranty. Given this experience I will never buy from Rooms to Go again, nor will I ever purchase and EXTEND warranty.

I have purchased many items from Rooms To Go over the years and always bought the extended coverage plan. I will never go back there for anything again because of a simple denied claim. I have a leather sofa sofa set and the armrest on one side of one sofa was scratched after I had company over so I called up to have it repaired. Tech came out and said, "No problem. The armrest can be removed and replaced" and said I would hear from them in 4 to 5 days when it came in.
I did receive a call back 6 business days later with someone saying the claim is denied because they do not cover animal damage even though we had no animals in the house and only people and also said even if the tech didn't say it was animal damage that it wouldn't be covered anyways because it's just a scratch and not a cut all the way through. It makes me feel real good being lied to in my face by the Rooms to go tech who I now assume is just a hired rep to find some way to legally deny a claim. Hope they like sending away returning customers' money because they only care about getting your money and then getting you out the door. I will never return into that door again. Like any other corporate customer service, they only care about the reports they can send their board members and not the customer in the end.

Horrible experience. The worst place to shop. The last customer service rep I spoke with was horrible. I bought a bed from rooms to go, it was defective within a year. I called and they came and allegedly fixed it. Shortly after, the same issue they fixed was defective again. I called them and they refused to fix it. They said it was no longer under warranty. So Rooms to go is not concerned about the durability of their products right? And the way they have treated me just shows they have zero respect for their customers.

We ordered a furniture set for our kids and had it delivered to the home we rent. Our ceiling fan was destroyed, walls have dents in them, and the door frame has chunks taken out of it. I have reached out for compensation and have yet to get any final reply. Was told we could ONLY get $400 for all damages which is insane knowing that we have to replace an entire ceiling fan, have someone fix our walls and door frame. I have emailed over 20 times and called over 15 times and still get nowhere. This is insane and the company's customer service is ridiculous. Do better Rooms To Go! Definitely the last time we will ever do business with you!

Purchased a coffee table, it was delivered with a crack. So was the 2nd and 3rd table. If you slide your finger on it, you’ll get a cut or splinter. I honestly don’t want any of their furniture anymore and they won’t refund my money. Go to Ashley or Sprintz and don’t waste your money here. They told me I didn’t have problems with previous deliveries (10 years ago). I didn’t care for it then and gave it to my daughter for her 1st apartment. Now I remember why I haven’t been back in 10 years.

I purchased a 3-piece outdoor patio sectional from Rooms To Go in Myrtle Beach, SC. I was initially happy with my purchase, until I needed help maintaining it. After the sale, I visited the store to ask about the proper way to clean the cushion covers. I spoke with a store associate, Ashley **, who confidently told me the covers were machine washable and dryer safe. I was surprised, but trusted her advice since she works there and should know the products they sell.
Unfortunately, that advice completely ruined my cushions. After washing and drying them on a delicate cycle, every single cover came out damaged, zippers broken, fabric frayed, and seams torn. I reached out to the store and spoke with the manager, Skylar **, who was not helpful at all. The best they could offer was a small discount on entirely new cushions and covers, despite the fact that I followed their staff’s guidance. Rooms To Go clearly does not train their employees properly and takes no responsibility for the misinformation they give customers. Extremely disappointed. I expected better support and accountability from a major retailer.

I purchase a room set for my son. I told them the items I wanted, like I normally do. I don't have to get all the items that are available on display. They charged for a mirror which I told them I don't need, and now they are saying it came with the set and they can not remove from the order. I have ordered many pieces and furniture sets at Rooms to Go, this is horrible and it does not sound right to me.

Last year, we bought a sectional recliner expensive couch from Rooms to Go in addition to a FULL HOUSE FURNITURE. When they delivered it, ottoman wasn't functioning. Then another time, while the delivery driver had the ottoman also wasn't functional. On Dec. 2024, before my warranty expired, I filed a complaint that the ottoman is stuck and not functioning again, the couch's legs aren't leveled and caused damage to my floor. Rooms to Go didn't send us the technician. Last week, I was standing up and just put my hand on the couch handler and noticed it's broken inside. I followed up with Rooms to Go. They said "You're out of warranty" and that on December 2024, they left us a voicemail instead of fixing the problem, knowing that they delivered a dysfunctional, broken couch. I'm very disappointed and regret paying ----$ for this sectional recliner. Not recommended and they'll deliver you a broken item.

In January 2025, I received an extra set of chairs from Rooms To Go due to their error. I immediately contacted their customer service to inform them and requested a pickup, as I had only ordered two chairs and did not have space for the additional set. Despite repeated follow-ups by phone and live chat, I was continuously given the runaround. Agents claimed they would call me back or send emails, but I never received any correspondence. I would not even have known they were trying to falsely charge me if it was not for me checking my locked mail box three days ago. I tried to reach out to someone then during the times their website claimed they had agents available on Sunday but I could only reach a live chat agent who said someone would call me the next day, Monday 7/7/2025 and they did not. I had to reach out again.
Rooms To Go falsely claims they reached out to me via email in February and on other occasions, this is untrue, and I have no record of these communications. I check my email frequently. I even spoke with an agent as recently as yesterday who said they would send an email confirming the pickup and once again, no email was sent.
To make matters worse, today 7/8/2025 I was treated rudely by an online sales representative who dismissed my concerns and insisted that the company had contacted me, despite my evidence to the contrary. That same discourteous internet/online sales agent sent an email with the wrong pick up date. So, I had to call back and have another internet sales agent send an email when the company will come to pick up the extra set of chairs and correct their error. Now, Rooms To Go is trying to charge me for the extra chairs they sent in error. I’ve always paid my bills on time, and I have records that prove that I reached out in good faith to resolve their mistake. I purchased the original two stools through Klarna and fulfilled all payment obligations.
The extra chairs have remained unopened in the original box and are currently in my storage because I never ordered them and never intended to keep them. Although the deceitful Internet sales agent implied otherwise. I initially tried to buy the chairs in person from the Jensen Beach, FL location, but they were unavailable, so I placed the order online, which I now regret. This has been such a stressful ordeal. I hope I never deal with such a shady company ever again. I purchased the majority of my furniture from City Furniture and I highly recommend any other furniture store from Rooms to Go for anyone in the Treasure Coast area.

I called the Rivergate store to ask questions about the 5 piece Gallagher bedroom set and a sales associate named Mike, said it's best to order directly from that store on Gallatin pk. because if anything goes wrong with the furniture they would take care of it. I ordered on 06-06-25, my set was delivered on 06-17-25. The bedroom set was packaged very good, that's the deceiving part. I realized I was told you got 48 hours to check for damages. That's not a lot of time for a single elderly person who lives alone and don't have help.
On 07-05-25, I finally received help to unbox the furniture, lots of packaged. Lo and behold, when the set was removed from the box, the 5 piece set looks used. I finally realized this is a set that's been returned. I took pictures after realizing it. It's a crying shame that this company will me. Keep in mind by the way it was packaged one would think it was a brand new set. I'm going to dispute this. All the rules Rooms to Go have is Void especially when you deceive customers. I paid over 2000.00 to get a used returned bedroom set. Unbelievable!

We spent $3,000.00 for 2 sofas, they are so uncomfortable that they are painful. If we sit on them for over 10 minutes we can barely stand up straight when we get up. We have brought in grandma's wood vintage rocking chairs to sit on while the sofas sit there. The customer service keeps saying they will get back to us & they have escalated it to a team leader. Months have gone by now and it's the same thing every time I call back in. I regret ever walking in to the store. Order **

We finally got my daughter’s long awaited bunk bed. The gentlemen who delivered were very nice and accommodating… However, they forgot to attach the backing to the top step. My daughter climbed up not knowing and almost fell through the back of the bed between the step and the wall. I have called four times and still no one has responded! Now, I have a literal death trap and they don’t care to fix it

I purchased a blue leather set from Rooms To Go a few years ago and the leather is already peeling. The set is primarily used by me and my husband, so I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the expensive so-called leather that I purchased. I opted for a more expensive leather set because I had recently experienced peeling from a bonded leather set that was also purchased from Rooms To Go. At this point, I feel as though I have been swindled out of my money for another faux leather set that was advertised as real leather.

The Johnathan Drew mattress that I purchased just over a year ago has begun to sag. I really liked this mattress, and it appeared to be higher quality than my previous mattresses. This led me to hope that it would be the last mattress I would ever need. Today, a RTG technician came to measure my mattress and confirmed it was defective. Now I am going to have to start the process of selecting a new mattress over again. This is absurd. This is the fifth or sixth mattress that I've had to replace since I made my initial purchase of the king-size bedroom set and mattress in 2019. I've had to replace them every one or two years, for heaven's sake!
I understand why RTG doesn't refund your money when it comes to these mattresses – most of them appear to be defective. In addition to all of this inconvenience, you have to pay a delivery fee with every exchange, And to add, if you select a more expensive mattress you have to pay the difference. For all of the hassle I’ve had with these mattresses, RTG should do the right thing and give me a high-end mattress at no cost to me. But then again, they might be defective too.

I really want to like Rooms to Go, but in the last month I have been so disappointed. We ordered a sofa and chair to be delivered. A couple hours after delivery we noticed the chair's arm was coming off the frame. Called customer service and had to wait two weeks for a replacement. Took another chance and bought the matching love seat which comes with accent pillows. Yes, they are part of the purchase but received the products on Wednesday, Saturday one of the pillows has split. Not even by the zipper. I have purchased pillows from Ross or Walmart that are better quality. What am I paying for??

So disappointed at Rooms To Go warranty policy, the sales representative recommended the warranty to be purchased, and when we you try to Use it you get denied. This was my first time ever trying to Use it on my dining room table, and it was denied. We asked for the warranty to be refunded but also denied, we spent thousands of dollars with this company, and will never shop here again!!!

Purchased 2 queen mattress set and Vickie (sales Clerk) Never mentioned to be sure to measure the frame ht because their box springs are 9" thick and the mattress is 14 1/2" thick so when it is set on the bed frame the top of the mattress is 41" from the floor. One can only imagine how you would get on the bed, the mattress is now above the foot board and too tall for the head board. All of this could have been avoided with one simple statement, "Let's measure your frame first. Now returning the base to exchange for a Bunkie base which is 2" thick is going to cost $108 and that is me driving it to the warehouse to load and bring back. This is a Racket and a Ripoff to the consumer. Will NEVER buy from RTG again. Mgr Mark stated numerous times we should have read the exchange policy before we bought from them. Gallery Furniture is much better to deal with.

First delivery pieces did not match in color and the frame was broken on the wedge. First exchange and replacement still the colors did not match. Second exchange still the pieces didn’t match in color and a broken chaise. Several people working for Rooms to Go mentioned this is what happens with Rooms to Go with defective merchandise and having to constantly go back and forth to the customer for exchanges. Spoke to two Supervisors and one told me if I wanted to report this go right ahead. Will not give me a refund. Said will exchange again. This is absolutely unprofessional. I want a complete refund.

Horrible customer services. I just found out that if you buy something and for some reason you want to return it, you don’t get your money back. You will pay restocking fees and you need to buy something else for the remaining money. According to store customer service representative, the store manager said they do not have a return policy.

My mom purchased a beige over $700 Dennin Sleeper chair for me, and it is awful. Only one side was protected with cardboard, and it was clearly stood up on the side with no protection. The entire left side of the chair is filthy with dirt. It is stained. The feet of the chair are PLASTIC risers. Thin and hollow! The risers I used to lift a bed were thicker! Nowhere in the description does it say it has hollow plastic risers for feet! The right arm of the chair has the seam about 1.25 inches from top, so there is no padding where your hand rests, and it shoved the stuffing downwards making it bow out in front. You only have four days to return, and when my mom called regarding the chair AND a mirror or she bought on the same day that was broken upon unwrapping, Dakota told her they could send a technician later in July! Is the technician going to resow the upholstery? Shampoo the chair?
There was a man behind the girl telling her to say they don’t do returns. Then she was told to wait for a mangers call. So far no call, and today is the last day to return, per the person she spoke to 3 days ago. She called right after it was delivered to tell them about the state of the chair, and here we are with a broken mirror we were NOT told by the salesman Nestor was an “as is” purchase. There was no sign that stated such either. Buyer beware if you shop at the Concord, NC store! You can get terrible quality and construction cheaper on Amazon.

I purchased a leather living room set and within for first 2 years, the leather started peeling in between the cushions, on the sides of the cushions and the sides of the sofa and chair. I tried emailing customer service, but no one responded...very cheap leather by Cindy Crawford Home. We rarely use this furniture except for company. My leather set from Kanes in the family room, which is at least 15 years older and gets used every day, looks better.

I purchased 3 items from Rooms to Go. 2 were defective. 1 was replaced with no issues on the second item. The other item was replaced 3 times with the safe defective issue. I called customer service and they said all they can do is give me a credit to get something else. I asked for my money back and they said no. I asked for some concession of money back to keep the defective item and they said no. All they will do is give me a credit for the item so I can pick something else out. I will never buy anything from Rooms to Go again and I advise caution to anyone else before buying from them. I know they aren't the highest quality but I expected better customer service for my inconvenience for a product that was sent with the same defect 3 times.

I’ve been buying a lot from Room To Go, Lafayette, Louisiana 70508 for years, recommend for my friend, family to go there too…but from now I not coming back there anymore 👎👎. Last delivered is terrible, they let another company (SouTheast) delivery my stuff: bedroom set, living room set, and them 3 clowns show up, look like they don’t know what they doing…don’t even call me or give a text before they come, sit and house and wait almost 3-4 hours, “messed up my floor”, asked me for my fruit, asked me for use bathroom and get my bath room dirty as hell😤😤. Worse thing is I have to show them how to put my stuff together, cost me almost $400 delivered fees and still have to show them?? What kind of ** is it?.
Customer service doesn't even care don't matter how many times I called, all I get back is “we will get with you soon” and never called back. Been waited over 2-3 weeks, and they know it they fault so the manager don't even wanna come out and talk to me when I go there. The delivery company offer me for $50. What the hell I'm going to do with that money? That doesn't even cover the stuff I bought to try to clean up the messed they left at my house. And that is my new house I just bought. That’s sad, isn’t like Room To Go they used to…. No more Room To Go. And I will tell everyone I know too. 👎👎👎👎

This is one of the most horrible furniture companies - STAY AWAY! My furniture set - complete bedroom set was filled with damages, nicks etc. Upon delivery, they claim I should call to request service, service came and made it worse—the attempt to fix the nicks and scratches and then spray paint with furniture color. The spray paint had an issue, and as a result, it left a white, hazy finish on my dresser. The bedset had missing screws. Screws were requested but I didn't receive the correct one until after several tries. They then attempted to replace my dresser several times, and each time, the one they were delivering was in worse condition than the one I had.
Eventually, they decided that they would not make any replacement deliveries anymore and chose to give me a credit of around $175 instead. I rejected this offer. Months went by I did not hear anything back from them. A few weeks back, I called in to inquire about this and was told that the credit offer is no longer valid. Then they suggested that they want to send out their serviceman again. I set up the appointment, but then received a phone call that they cannot send out a service technician because the time has passed. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

I wish I could give this a negative number of stars because allowing this company even 1 star seems too good for them. Delivery driver showed up in huge truck and would not go all the way down our road to deliver. When I mentioned I needed the bed and set up that day, he especially did not want to cooperate. I don't think he wanted to take the time to set it up, even though I paid for this service. Even offered to have furniture unloaded in truck from where he was parked and take down to house. Nope. I just think he did not want to have to set up the bed and because I was a woman, he felt he could get away with it.
That's the kind of attitude he was giving out. Spent all morning waiting for him, then the rest of the day with customer service, (called minutes after he left in hopes of him not getting too far so I could get furniture) trying to get it delivered. They finally got a hold of the delivery manager 4 hours later and the manager said it was too late for them to get me on a delivery for the next day.
Hello, I literally began calling minutes after the delivery driver drove off. If the manager had replied back in a timely manner it wouldn't have been too late. This was the entire fault of the company and that driver. Horrible service and employers that do not care about their customers or company reputation. They said to be able to reschedule the delivery, the furniture had to be driven back to another state and checked back in before they could reschedule. So stupid. This is the worst furniture delivery I have ever experienced. I found out after this from two other friends that this happened with them as well. Canceling order and going elsewhere. Contacting BBB as well. Seriously the most incompetent business! Will be posting to everyone!

Anybody can receive the title of Manager (leader) but where there's no empathy shown, leadership skills displayed, or customer satisfaction produced, will equate to complete failure in a business. Rooms to Go Montgomery has lost a very valuable/loyal customer due to their negligence. Updated on 06/06/2025: After being hung up on twice by customer service, then asking to speak to salesman and being hung up on again. So I waited a day and no better luck with customer service. I said all I’d like to know is where can I purchase broken parts and got no help from customer service. They acted like it’s a secret. I was finally able to find a site where you speak to a customer care representative via chat line. I sent in an order form along with a check and now waiting for a response. We will see how long this takes or if it even happens.
Original Review: Bought a sofa and loveseat from the outlet store. Was told by salesman that both pieces were as is except if there were any problems with the electronics a technician would be able to come to our home and take a look. But after we discovered the phone charging ports on this Port Royal piece are defective (there are two ports on each piece, and one side on each piece is defective) their customer service says they can’t help. Don’t buy from the outlet store or even main store, because their customer service after the sale is terrible.

We bought furniture from Rooms To Go at the beginning of 2024. The fabric on the couch and chair failed. We exercised the one year warranty and asked to get furniture with different fabric. We were denied that opportunity and told that it is “company policy” to replace it with the same exact thing. We told the person on the phone that it was futile to get this furniture again because the fabric would just fall apart again and that is exactly what happened. We were then visited by another person to inspect the problem for the “extended warranty” and denied again.
How can Rooms To Go replace a defective product with the same defective product and expect something different? This is unfair policy and only benefits the Rooms To Go. Rooms To Go does not honor their warranty. We spent thousands of dollars on this defective furniture. This is unacceptable. Is Rooms To Go going to do anything to make this right? Do not buy chairlifts from them, they are cheap. You pay lot of money, you buy extra insurance and when you have a problem, nobody will fix it. We have 2 recliners and both of them have lost their cushion and when you sit in them, they shake. Someone came out. Check them a month ago and I had to call to find out the results if they're going to fix it or give me new chairs. But my problem is not covered, is considered to be wear and tear. I've only had the chairs a year and a half from what the woman told me.

Customers wishing to shop at Rooms To Go should prepare themselves for the old run-around or what is commonly known as the bait & switch routine. My 85 year old mother purchased two mattresses at Room To Go. One was a queen size mattress and adjustable foundation, the other was a full size mattress. The full size mattress she bought for me and It was a Casper brand memory foam mattress with Medium support. I keep the full mattress for a 'qualifying' period of 30 days (the industry standard), before I had decided the mattress was just too soft for me and asked our sales associate about exchanging the mattress from a Medium comfort matt to a firm comfort mattress. He immediately began telling me telling me how better off I would selecting something entirely different and more expensive than what I was asking for.
I had to become a bit more 'firm' and as I repeated my desire to exchange the full mattress I had received for a firmer version of the same mattress. I had prior to this point already reviewed all of the 'Casper' full size mattresses and that a 'firm' matt was available in a full size to wit my sales associate declared it was not... until he finally scrolled through all Casper mattresses on his PC tablet and found it to be a Casper I model. After all that he still ended up ordering me a QUEEN size mattress as my replacement!!! Cost to me? $364.96 buckaroos. Then I was called by a lady from the credit/financing office and explained I was over charged for the wrong mattress and I would receive an $85.00 credit to my credit card.

I approached the salesman inquiring about a recliner. His name is Daniel **. While we were walking towards the recliners I showed him a picture of incline that I was interested in. He immediately took me to that same recliner. I sat down and made myself comfortable and the recliner while he was explaining how to maneuver the power buttons. He was very knowledgeable concerning the questions that I was asking about the recliner. His customer service skills were exceptional and courteous. I ended up purchasing that same recliner. A delivery date was set up and I am awaiting the delivery scheduled for June 7th.

I purchased a Shack Tech Reclaimers set from Rooms To Go after being assured by the salesperson that it was made from high-quality leather and that the 3-year warranty would cover scratches and general wear. Within just a few days, I noticed that the armrests scratched very easily, which raised concerns about the actual quality of the material.
When I contacted customer service, they claimed the warranty only covers manufacturer defects, not scratches—even though I was specifically told otherwise at the time of purchase. That’s a clear case of false advertising in my opinion. To make matters worse, when I questioned whether the leather was even real, they said it’s only “ leather where the body touches.” Does that mean arms don’t count as part of the body? If you’re considering buying this furniture, be very careful. You’re paying a high price for what turns out to be a partial leather product and a warranty that doesn’t cover what the salesperson promised. I expected better transparency and customer support.

I bought a new king size mattress and picked it up on Mother's Day, 05/11/2025, and a picture of the Property Brothers was advertised on it. So, I figured it cannot be a bad mattress, they would not put their name on a bad product. I tried the bed out and told the salesperson I needed a good mattress because of my back issues. It was marked down and was a showroom model from roughly $1699 to $ 845 excluding taxes. So I thought it was a good deal. The salesperson told me it was a great mattress. Less than 2 weeks later, I can already see the imprint of 2 people sleeping on the mattress and when I move to the middle of the mattress I can def feel myself rolling up. So, I went back but I knew that it was a mattress "as is" and no warranty. I just wanted the salesperson and manager to know that they failed to disclose the actual condition of the mattress, how long it has been on the floor and how many people laid on it.
Basically, I bought a second hand mattress. When I went back, the manager John told me that the way I transported it, on top of a van, using 1 strap, and literally driving 5 minutes to my home, caused this. He also said that there is nothing he could do, it was 'as is'. So, from now on there will never be anything bought from RTG again. Be warned!!!

Rooms to Go sold me a protection plan on my large purchase 18,000.00 $ worth of furniture. I'm a smoker and the fire on my cigarette burnt a small hole a little bigger than a pin point. I called rooms to go in Ocala Florida 3 weeks ago. They sent a worker out to take pictures and look at the damage. He said it would be 2 weeks and they would pick up the love seat and repair it. Within 2 weeks no sight or sound from them.
I called rooms to go on Monday this week and got a runaround about the repair that was going to take a couple of months. I still have the furniture in my house in repaired. In my opinion rooms to go are frauds with claims overpriced and rude, unfriendly and ignorant of their customers needs. I will file a complaint with the consumer affairs in Tallahassee Florida on Monday and on the 30th of this month I'll hire an attorney to take them to court for violation of our contract for repair the furniture they charged me and refused to repair by deception. My advise is stay away from this company as they lie about their warranty and make promises they don't intend to follow through.

Last year I purchased a living room set from Rooms to Go. Initially, they delivered damaged items, then tried to cover the damage with marker, but the scratch marks on the wood furniture was so bad that they couldn’t cover it properly. So I refused to keep the item, then they replaced it. The sofa set color started fading in 6 months, arm rest stitches fell off the place in 3 months of purchase. Customer service representative was very rude and unhelpful. Since I had credit card with them I made another purchase for bedroom set. When the delivery arrived, I requested the delivery guys to wear shoe caps inside the house since I have a crawling baby with low immunity lives in the house. They refused to do that.
Then the delivery guy called someone on his phone and that lady told me that I need to reschedule the delivery and I can make a special request to bring shoe covers next time. So I called customer service to reschedule the delivery and a person named Lorenzo told me that they can’t have delivery guys to wear shoe covers, hence I requested to cancel the purchase, then he says I will only get partial refund because of me not compromising my family safety. He was so rude that he refused me to connect to a manager or someone with higher authority. I would never recommend this store even to my enemies.

Extended warranty they sell is a scam. Sales rep. lied. They don't replace defective furniture for free. My recliner had messed up spring from day one. They would not swap it out. Leather peeling and will not fix or replace it.

We recently purchased an area rug and a mattress from Rooms to Go in Knoxville TN. We asked about delivery costs so we could determine if it was worth the cost versus picking up the items ourselves. The salesperson said he would work to see if any discount was available on the rug. The mattress would cost 69.99. His solution was to put us into this Decorator Club and he could give a $30 discount but would have to ring up the rug in a separate tra. Great! But he failed to mention this club cost 69.99 that is Not Refundable. He pushed a bunch of papers in front of my wife and we didn’t see this charge until we left the store.
When we reported the issue as part of the stores follow up electronic review we got a request for more information. I believe I provided that info but R2G’s process just shuffled me to unworkable sites or links. I believe this is a sales scam and the salesperson earned a commission thru deceptive practices. Purchased 3 days ago a sofa bed with request not to unbox the sofa. The pillows came in a store bag. Due to shipping it abroad. The manager of the store is having a very bad attitude. So this will be the last time purchasing any item from Rooms to go.

They were early and very polite. Everything was efficient and smooth. They took their shoes off to protect the hardwood floors and were just amazing. We are very happy with everything. They removed the old bed and installed the new one in record time. Definitely would use again.

Absolutely awful customer service and misleading sales practices. I recently purchased two mattresses from the Rooms To Go Osceola store on May 17, 2025, to go with two bedroom sets I bought just a few weeks earlier. Before buying, I asked the sales rep about their return policy and was clearly told I could return the mattresses if I was unsatisfied.
They were delivered on May 21, and within two hours of delivery I tried to return them. I was then told no refunds allowed, and that even an exchange would require me to pay pickup and delivery fees. I even offered to bring them back myself — which customer service told me I could do — but the store refused and said it was not allowed. Total conflicting information from the store, customer service, and the manager (David). I even went to the store in person to try to resolve it, and still got no help. As a returning customer who just spent a lot of money, this was incredibly frustrating and unacceptable. I feel misled and disrespected. I will not be shopping at Rooms To Go again, and I don’t recommend anyone else does either.

Never buy stuff from Rooms to Go. These people are fraud. I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Rooms to Go and do not intend to make any future purchases from your store, given the service I’ve received. At the time of purchase, I was explicitly told that the insurance would cover everything, even severe damage like the sofa being torn apart. No one advised me to review the exclusions in the policy; instead, I was simply asked to sign the document without any detailed explanation. When I later filed a claim, I was surprised to learn that even simple issues like sketch marks are not covered. This situation could have been avoided if the salesperson had provided accurate and complete information at the time of purchase. Misleading a customer into believing something is covered when it clearly isn’t reflects very poorly on your business practices. In my view, this borders on misrepresentation.

The only reason I'm giving Rooms To Go in Stuart, FL two stars instead of one is because the showroom is well-presented and the furniture appears nice at first glance. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. Our salesperson, Victoria, felt more like a used car dealer than someone genuinely trying to help. She misled us on multiple fronts. First, she convinced us to purchase an expensive rug, assuring us of its quality. I specifically asked if it would unravel, as many outdoor rugs tend to do unless they’re high-end. She confidently told me it wouldn’t—but sure enough, it started coming apart within the first month. Clearly not the quality we were promised.
Second, she let us take home a patio umbrella directly from the store without mentioning that doing so would void the item from being covered under the 3-year warranty she also persuaded us to buy—another total waste of money. When I called recently to express my concerns, I was able to speak with Victoria again. Instead of offering any sort of solution or even a civil conversation, she became rude and abruptly hung up. If you're looking for honesty, integrity, and respectful customer service, I strongly suggest avoiding this store altogether. You deserve better.

I purchased my bedroom set about 3 years ago. I purchased the warranty that covered scratches and dings. I called them before the coverage ran out and in the process was unable to complete the service call. I called today and according to them they policy expired and now I've paid for something I didn't get to use. Beware they will not call before the expiration of your extended warranty but I'll take your money. I spoke with Andy a customer service supervisor and his attitude was just like any other big company... It doesn't affect him, so you know the rest.... **

We purchased a Sealy Posturepedic and was told it's motionless but after sleeping on it found that to be false. Rooms to Go just says sorry complain to sealy. It's terrible when you make a complaint but the store doesn't backup what they say at the time of purchase. I see many bad reviews on rooms to go and no I will never buy from them again. BUYING EXTENDED WARRANTY IS A WASTE OF $! SAVE YOURSELF!!!! In the fall of 2024, I purchased the French Market Dining Set. I also purchased the extended warranty and have close to a year and half left on it. The warranty ended up being worthless and was a total waste. Due to recent renovations, the table was moved out of the way from the renovation area. Once renovation was done, we went to move the table back into the dining area and discovered a rubber glove had been laid on top of the table (nobody claims the glove).
When we removed the glove, we discovered it had literally melted the finish from the table (in a glove shape). I was sick. I called RTG who then gave me another number to call to initiate a claim. An email was received after having spoken to a“claim” person instruction in me to send photos of the damaged table. I quickly replied and attached photos. The next day I was told, via email, the claim has been denied and was not covered under “accidental.” I was furious and still don’t understand how this can be. I now have a ruined table with no accountability and time left on a useless “extended” warranty. I’m so disappointed and will never purchase anything from RTG (merchandise quality issues) again let alone a worthless “extended” warranty.

I recently purchased two chairs and 3 table (two end and one coffee table), and the salesman, Ethan ** was excellent and the delivery was excellent. However, when the last table was brought in, the slate tile on the bottom of the end table was broken near the top edge. I asked if the delivery guy could just pop out the tile and get it replaced and he said: "Ma'am, the tile should pop out but it will not, I have already tried it. I have already called this in and they should call you and deliver a new table, since it will not pop out.."
That was Last Monday! Still no call 8 days later so I call and spoke with a woman and then with a supervisor.... Basically, "there are no tables in stock" because the line is discontinued! The solution both the CSR and her supervisor gave me was that: "we will order a new tile and have it sent to you" and then you can replace it!" So, again I stated that the tile would not come out of the table and that solution would not work. She said: "Well that is the choice you have or you can return the table."
Bottom Line: Rooms to go gave me a damaged table and they want me to fix it. This is not the first time I have received damaged furniture but it is the first time ROOMS TO GO HAS MADE THEIR ERROR MY PROBLEM! Ratings for the salesman, Ethan is 5 stars, Rating for delivery is 5 starts, and as usual: The RATING FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS 0!

The only thing worse than the furniture was the BOGUS INSURANCE they sold me! Patio loveseat fell apart after 14 months. The assembler had forced together two parts. R2G sent an inspector who told me NOT TO USE it! A month later, after hearing nothing, I contacted the insurance company who told me they denied the claim. I asked why and they had no answer. Do not EVER waste your money on insuring furniture from Rooms to Go. Good Money After Bad.

We have purchased from RTG, after saying never again, they replaced my leather sectional with another supposedly higher brand. It’s fading and damaged in less than 1 year! I have no children and it’s 2 of us in the house, I called their insurance company and of course they waffled on coverage, not only did they fail to repair or replace, rtg gave me the wrong piece of furniture from the beginning and that’s the piece that’s damaged, I paid for a 3 reclining sofa they sent me 3 double recliners, and they refuse to refund me for the wrong charge or replace the damaged piece.
If it wasn’t for my credit score, I would drive this dining room and living room and bedroom furniture and drop it on their lot and not pay another red cent!! Nothing worse than a crooked company, that can see that they are failing customers, with their hidden tactics, when you get the extra coverage ASK WHAT IS COVERED, don’t allow the salesperson to bait you with the highlights of the coverage!! I bought a couch set one year ago. Within just a few months the zippers broke on the cushions the fluff on the couches flattened. I called them and asked them to repair the zippers, repair the fluff. But nothing was under warranty yet I bought the five-year extended warranty. My question is what the heck is covered then, I’m so disappointed with them. I will never buy another couch from them again or any furniture for that matter.
