    I have had the bed two years and the bed is sagging in the middle, I bought it from mattress firm, I bought the Nectar for the warranty, I called Nectar and they said if you bought it from A company like the mattress store they don't honor the warranty, I was never told this and I am disappointed with this mattress, Beware.

    I purchased a Nectar classic 3years ago when I was single in queen size. Loved the bed so much that I ordered another for my now husband and I in a king size. They must have changed their formula because it the most uncomfortable bed I have ever wasted money on. It cuts off circulation to our legs and is like sleeping on the floor. When trying to return within the first 3 weeks they offered to send a foam mattress cover. I didn't pay this much to use a mattress cover. Called a second time to return because it was awful and they gave us a hard time. Third time I was angry so they finally set up plans for a return. Do Not Buy. They changed their material and it is awful.

    I have had the worst experience with this company. I saved the money for a really long time because I wanted a Nectar mattress so bad. So when I saved up the money I bought the mattress. I was redoing my bedroom which took longer than I thought. Definitely read the tiny little fine print that says if you don’t open the box within 90 days it’s out of warranty. So unfortunately, I had not seen that so it was longer than that. When I opened the box it did not fully expand. I have called, emailed, etc. they don’t care. I now have a lopsided mattress that is not comfortable that I save over $1000 for. NEVER buy from this company. I’m so disappointed and pissed off.

    I had high hopes ordering from Nectar, but this experience has been incredibly frustrating. They’ve dropped the ball three times with my bed frame order: They sent the wrong headboard. After I explicitly told them to coordinate delivery because I wouldn’t be home, they went ahead and shipped a replacement without notice. I called again and was assured it would be sent on a specific date—but the order never got processed. To make matters worse, the headboard is heavy, and my elderly mother is the only one home. I now have to drive two hours just to receive it for her, because Nectar couldn’t get their logistics right. After all this, the best they could offer was a $65 refund—which doesn’t come close to making up for the time, hassle, and repeated miscommunication. I expected better from a company that positions itself as premium. I won’t be recommending Nectar to anyone.

    I called and spoke with Nectar about what bed to purchase. Told them our weights AND that my husband likes a firm mattress and I like a medium mattress. I was told to purchase the hybrid premier that it would work for both of us since it was a medium firm mattress. Arrived quickly. Setup was easy.

    Now here is where the issues start:

    1. The mattress was so soft that our backs hurt from day one. The side wall is very soft and will make you feel as if you are rolling out of bed. We tried to give it time (2 weeks) to get used to the bed. We have traveled in the past and never had a bed hurt our backs and wake us up during the night like this.

    2. Called to have the bed returned. The rep pushed to have us continue sleeping on the bed for the full 30 days. I told him it was unreasonable for them to expect us to have a bed wake us up numerous times during the night and wake up with our backs hurting. He finally agreed to start the return.

    3. Sharetown was who Nectar uses for returns. They sent an email that they would contact me within 5 days to set up a pickup date. After 1 week I had to reach out to them. The rep then sent me a text and set a pickup date. He then tried to cancel the pickup. I told him no, that I would not get my refund until it was picked up. He said he would still come. Well....he did not show up. I called Nectar about the no-show and asked that they refund since Sharetown did not show and Nectar refused. I texted Sharetown back and got sorry, it will be on this date instead. He finally did show for the pickup 2 weeks after the return initiated.

    4. Refunds - Nectar sent me an email acknowledging the pickup and that a refund would be issued within 10 business days. It never happened. I had to file a dispute with my credit card to get my money back.

    Worst mattress ever. Worst customer support ever. Mattress is unbelievably hot and does not mold to you at all. Customer service is rude and offensive. They try really hard to gaslight you into thinking you’re the problem. If I don’t get a return I’m leaning towards legal action for the first time in my life because of the level of disrespect and blatant disregard to uphold their commitment to a better night sleep and a simple return after 3 days of owning. This company is a joke.

    I bought a Nectar mattress 2 years ago. Sagging on the edges. Now wife and I have two depressions where we sleep with a mound in the middle. If you try to lay in the middle of the mattress you will roll to either side. Mattress didn’t hold up and supposed to be lifetime warranty. Customer service will just keep asking for pictures until you a frustrated enough to give up. Doesn’t hold up!!!! DON’T BUY!!

    Giving 1 star because negative stars aren’t an option. They have THE WORST customer service I’ve ever dealt with. Darwin, a rep on their chat was rude, and unhelpful. I ordered a split kings 3 weeks ago. Received the bed but wrong mattresses. Now it’s 3 weeks later and I’ve gotten 3 other deliveries of in correct mattress’s and still waiting. I’m in possession of 4 incorrect mattress’s at the moment. This is ridiculous. I have called the phone number 10+ times, still haven’t been able to talk to someone or get a call back. Every thing has to be done in chat. You can see how that goes. I have another split king and a queen from them. They have an excellent product, but their service is by far the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. As great of a product they have, and a great price, don’t buy. It’s not worth the hassle for when they mess up.

    Purchased a bed frame and headboard. Headboard was delivered with a gash in it. Customer service requested photos which I provided. They determined it wasn't substantial enough to replace and offered a $40 credit. I don't want a credit, I want an undamaged headboard. Have not been able to get anyone from customer service to respond to follow-up requests - radio silent.

    Worst customer service. Refuse you to speak to a supervisor, just double talk you and repeat over and over. Offer supposedly 100 percent money back, until you ask for it. Then after over a $4000 purchase they tell you to order a $40 piece from Amazon to make the bed stay together better.

    Do not trust Nectar. This company is shady and their products are faulty. They have a class action lawsuit against them. Just google it and you will find them. I am 5'6" 160lbs and could barely hold my weight. Sagging throughout the night and made me toss and turn. It completely destroyed my back. And do not trust their discounted refund policy. They will not pay you back for warranty or delivery. Which is about $250-300 that you will not get back. My mattress was $1200. NOT WORTH IT. You are better off buying one from Amazon and $300-400 range.

    I bought a Nectar mattress over a year ago now (so past the 365 day warranty). I am not happy. In fact, I am planning on getting a new mattress as soon as possible. So this bed is FIRM. Very firm. When I first started it hurt my back really bad. When I reached out about it saying I wanted to return it, they sent me a FREE memory foam cover. Great... It was a little softer. But I still woke up in pain most mornings. My neck got a crick which never got better. We also got the wooden platform for it. And one of the legs just kinda... Broke off.

    Currently it is propped up on two ammo boxes. They will replace it when I take a picture of the whole frame. For FREE. Yippee. I'm not excited to receive the same bed frame that didn't work in the first place. If your product is cheap enough to send a bunch of free stuff, maybe you shouldn't sell it for so much to begin with. I dont know who this mattress is good for, but if you're a side sleeper like me (though it even hurts when I'm on my back), curvy, or need a mattress that cradles your body, don't buy this. I don't think they're very quality. Don't believe the hype. They have great marketing but it's not worth it. Honestly I think it's a gimmick.

    I purchased a mattress in 2020. It was great. The mattress frame was horrible!!! However, 4 years later we notice the mattress is compressing on one side. You visually cannot see it, but you can definitely feel it. After emailing multiple times about it, I keep getting the runaround with them wanting more pictures even though I have sent them images of how it is compressing when you sit on it. It’s not enough for them. I get the impression they really don’t want to stand by their warranty. It’s time to start shopping for a new mattress.

    I would like to say that they did return the mattress with no problems. They were very helpful about doing that. It was all for returns. They also sent me a masters topper in the beginning to see if that would help for free unfortunately it didn’t. I wish the mattresses were as good as our customer service.

    This is the most uncomfortable mattress I’ve ever purchased. Their adjustable base. The cheaper one was absolutely horrible. The mattress is so firm that it hurts me to even lay on my side or lay on my back too long. They did send me a free mattress topper, and even though it says 365 day returns they’re saying now if there’s anything wrong with it that they can’t return it, when changing sheets my granddaughter did have a spill. The mattress is so bad I’m gonna have to just donate it to someone and eat the cost and buy another mattress for another company.

    My wife and I bought a Nectar bundle 11 months ago; queen size memory foam, adjustable frame, sheets and pillows (came with an extended warranty too). After 11 months: The mattress is decent, easy to set up (bit of burnt rubber smell on unpacking), good for side sleepers. The lack of edge support is def a problem though, especially for me since I'm a bit bigger (220lbs) vs. my wife (140lbs). It's still an improvement over our old spring mattress, but the lack of edge support means that when our dog snuggles between us (most nights) I lose a lot of the support you get in the middle of the mattress and end up sorta dipping towards the floor. The most comfortable part of the mattress is dead center, as you get towards the edges it gets more squishy and the support goes away. I can't really sit on the edge of it without sliding down/off.

    The adjustable frame is.... meh. For the price I'd say pretty disappointing. There's a number of issues that seem pretty simple to solve and just seem to be silly oversights, I dunno, maybe they've solved them since? But two major ones:

    1) There's nothing keeping the mattress in place except the rungs at the foot of the bed. So we are CONSTANTLY adjusting and moving the mattress side to side to keep it on the frame. Any kind of... motion along the sides of the bed will result in the mattress slipping towards the floor. I literally ended up putting duct tape all the way around the mattress to get it to stick to the frame. Like... why? This makes no sense to me and was/is super annoying.

    2) The supports for the mattress are hard plastic w/no grip and next to impossible to keep from sliding on a non-rug surface (hard wood, tile in our case, etc.). So basically the mattress is constantly sliding back and forth, and the bed frame keeps sliding with it. Again. Super annoying.

    Also this is just a fact of having an adjustable frame so def not their fault, but it's important to remember that when the back comes up the flat surface area of the bed is cut in half. So while it's nice to watch TV in bed sitting up, we can't have our 70lb dog with us on the bed in that position. We've taken to just leaving the bed horizontal and piling pillows up at the head, which kinda defeats the purpose. The lights underneath and the massage features are nice (I guess) but pretty useless, the "massage" is just a kind of very light vibrating, and the lights are only useful if you've lost your phone. Just about as easy to reach for your phone as it is to find the remote and turn on that light.

    I think the mattress is ok, maybe I'm just a bit big for it, and if you don't have a dog and don't need a lot of space when you sleep you'll prob be fine. Maybe go for the hybrid if you're bigger and need edge support? But skip the bundle and the extras, I think whatever RnD they have is going more towards the mattress and the frames and extras are just there to drive up the price.

    Bed frame broke after one week of use. Mattress never fully expanded. Now into the return process which is a nightmare. They stated a company might call or email me in a 2-4 days to set up a pickup. If they don't I have go back to Nectar to figure out the next steps. They will not refund until the mattress has been picked up. Customer service is horrible and so is their product. Please say yourself the troubles and don't purchase from here.

    I bought this overpriced Nectar mattress in October 2021. It wasn't long before the mattress started to get that sag in the middle, causing back pain. I also bought the extended warranty that they offered for $99.00, (worthless). I paid $1495.86 in hopes to get a good mattress. It was no better than the $299.00 mattress from Walmart. As for the warranty, DON'T BOTHER! It's a waste of money! Funny thing is, I was in Sam's Club last week, and the same Mattress that I paid almost $1500 for from the Nectar website was in Sam's for $399.99! REALLY? My advice, go to Walmart, and save yourself a lot of money!

    The mattress is pretty comfortabe, but it didn't last much more than two years, and they did not honor their warranty. The top cover "mattress protector" ripped like pantyhose, and the zipper broke. Customer service is pitiful. A good company puts people over anything else. Not Nectar.

    I bought the Claremont bed frame about a year and a half ago and the center railing of the frame has failed twice. I told Nectar after the second bed frame failed and ripped up my laminate floors that I wanted a refund and they said they could only replace it. Absolutely do not buy this bed frame if you have wood or laminate floors.

    Do not buy this mattress and definitely not the adjustable frame if you use it for anything besides sleeping. One side of my mattress is about 6 inches now and they won't replace it even though I have a warranty. Frame cracked at corners 4 months in. Do not buy from them. Walmart has a better mattress quarter the price.

    I am staying with a friend who just bought a Nectar mattress. I am the first person to use it and I’m disappointed that some of the high expectations we had were not realized. I’m used to sleeping on a Tempur-pedic mattress and I have zero back pain but from day one I’ve had trouble with the nectar mattress. The worst part is the customer service. When you start a chat it asked if they can help you and then never reply when you answer. You have to jump through hoops just to send an email. And the only two phone options are to place an order or check on an order. When I clicked on place an order I was unable to communicate with the person I was talking to. History has taught me that you should never do business with a company with terrible customer service regardless of how good their product is.

    So far horrible customer service. I have never experienced such a lack of empathy and information from a company. No definitive answer from email, phone or chat. I am 2 weeks into them moving my estimated ship date out every few days. Robotic type replies that provide zero information. If I could get a straight answer from them about delivery, I could plan accordingly.

    Bought two Nectar sleep "bundles" of frame/mattress/bedding about a month apart. Both were supposed to include the same "classic" mattress but they are different - have different covers, thickness and firmness levels. One of my bundles included a "premium" adjustable base that Nectar's website said included head and foot massage units. It only has a massage unit at the head.

    When I contacted Nectar about these discrepancies, they told me the mattresses were really the same except for the cover (despite one being an inch thicker and much firmer) and that the premium frame did not include foot massage (despite being listed with that feature on their website and mentioned in many online reviews). Either their customer support is poorly informed or they're just liars. Maybe Nectar keeps changing specs and not updating their website. But in any case, I regret my purchases and would warn people not to trust Nectar or any other Resident home brand products.

    Please take these 1 star reviews seriously. This is one of the worse companies I've ever purchased from. Not only was shipping delayed we were told twice our mattress was out for delivery just to never arrive. I called in and asked why was my mattress out for delivery then next day in California? When I'm in Ohio. I got no real answer just 'assurance' that my mattress will arrive. It did finally arrive on a random date that wasn't on the tracking label. However, it arrived with the box opened and beat up. It honestly looked like the mattress had been opened then shoved back in a box. But that's not all, THEY DELIVERED THE WRONG MATTRESS. They delivered a cheaper version when we ordered their premium copper hybrid.

    So, I called customer service to first be told that I accepted this new mattress and I was like, "NO I DIDN'T." They put me back on hold to say 'oh sorry the mattress we sent is the same that you ordered just renamed'. I said, "Why would it be cheaper if it's the same quality??" Moral of this review is that they are a scam, they lie and try to gaslight you. I requested a full refund and won't accept anything less. Do better Nectar, this is embarrassing for you.

    I purchased a Nectar mattress and "foundation" roughly a year ago. Within 6 months the side of the frame broke (I weight 185lbs). I was told it was a fluke and they were sending me another frame to assemble. Within a another few months it broke again in the same place. Now, I'm past my return period and all they are willing to do is send another frame that will likely break again. If I didn't have a cat that frequently goes under there I might now be as irritated. This is a terrible product and I'm not sure how more people aren't complaining about it. Terrible company, DO NOT BUY.

    After a year and a half, the side rails pulled out of the wood in the platform. Upon taking the bed apart to throw in garbage, I discovered two large gouges in the floor. The metal posts on the center supports had cut right through their protective end caps, and were pushed into the posts. These huge gouges are right in the middle of the laminate floor. Now I need a new bed again, and a new floor. Expensive mistake of a purchase.

    Tried this bed for over 3 weeks. Woke up the third day and my back was thrown out. I don't usually have back problems and this was so painful I could hardly move for days. I kept sleeping on the mattress thinking it was something else I had done. When on vacation for 3 days my back started feeling better, only to come back and sleep one night and throw it out again. It is impossible to get a hold of them by chat or email, so I had to call the phone number and leave my number for a call back which took a couple hours! Then they told me I have to try the mattress for 30 days which I was one to two days out before they could initiate my return. They told me also they feel like it takes longer for me to adjust even though it keeps throwing my back out. Total waste of time, effort, and money moving beds and furniture and lack of customer service. Not at all happy. I like firm beds but this is hard as a rock.

    Mattress is fine but don't buy any other crap from them. Mattress is warrantied for life, their bed frames aren't. Mine broke after just under 4 years, welds straight up snapped at the head of the bed and I fell through in the middle of the night. If you want a mattress, theirs has been fine. If you want ANYTHING else, look anywhere else. If you wanna do a "One stop shop," I'd say do it elsewhere.

    I bought the original mattress after a bestie took me on a beach getaway. I’ll start off by saying that I have a spinal cord stimulator in my back and have been thru so many mattresses! On this trip I noticed that I was waking up and not having to take my pain meds. So I had to look to see what mattress I was sleeping on. It was a Nectar! This is the best bed I have ever had! And it’s so nice to not wake up with back pain! I’ve also been able to sleep on my back which I haven’t done since my back surgery. I love this mattress and will NEVER get anything different!     I would be cautious to purchase from Nectar. I bought 2 mattresses from them and didn't like them, they were too firm for me. So I decided to take them up on their 365 trial warranty. Instead of going through the process, they offered me a 2" mattress topper to see if that would help. I agreed and the order was placed. Two weeks later, nothing had been shipped so I contacted them again and told them to cancel everything and I wanted to donate my mattresses and get a refund. They offered me $150.00 as an apology if I would keep the mattresses. I said no thanks and so they processed the donation/refund procedures. I then went back to their site to order new mattresses that are softer. That was 10 days ago and they still haven't shipped.

    I contacted them today to see what was going on. They offered to give me $50.00 if I would keep waiting on the shipping which supposedly is going to be next week or the week after. I told them no, just cancel the order. I then noticed on their website in small print on the mattress page, it says "Ships in 1-2 business days, new customers only". I was mislead by their 365 night trial and "Forever warranty". I will never buy from them again.

    I ordered a Nectar Premiere Hybrid on July 9th. Was told it would ship in 1-2 days. On EVERY email they sent. And still on their website... EXCEPT - it turns out they don't have a single Hybrid mattress of any kind in stock. NONE. The only reason I found this out is because i Called THEM on the 16th to ask when my mattress was being shipped...

    I'm being told now after several calls that Maybe, maybe they will be back in stock around the 26th. And yet they are still selling mattresses they don't have on their website. The customer service people are somewhere overseas and while lovely, difficult to understand and have no answers. Will never, ever recommend them to anyone. a Modicum of honesty would have made all of this way way better.

    This has been the worst customer service and experience ever with a company. This is the first time that I have ever wrote a bad review for a company. We ordered a bed and it was supposed to be here by Saturday at the latest. It is now the Thursday of the following week and we still do not have a bed. Nectar has had us on the phone and hold for hours and still no resolution and they don’t seem to care.

    I feel so bad that these people had such a hard time. We bought our California king mattress when they first came out. We were on back order for a couple months. Because we waited so long, they gave us a nice discount lifetime warranty and accidental damage was part of it. We also received the pillows as well. A year after we got it, the threading started to unthread, weird, but we contacted customer support, submitted pics and description. They replaced it for us with no issues. We then ordered the frame and headboard. Unfortunately my husband ordered the wrong size, but we never tried to exchange it. We have had our mattress for 7 years with 1 use of the warranty. We still very much love our mattress and will be replacing the kids' beds with Nectar. I hope they continue my great customer service. I am a bit worried now that things have changed and it's been 7 years since our was purchased.

    Extremely duplicitous company. I ordered the weighted blanket on "sale". Received completely different item from sister company with terrible reviews and much worse quality. They are still selling a discontinued item and just shipping a different item of worse quality, marketing it as a sale. Just finally got my refund almost a month later after jumping through several hoops and being told that the item that I received was the same thing as what I ordered, despite it being not remotely close. And yes, the item that has been completely discontinued is still being sold on their website for the same sale. Everyone who purchases it will be getting scammed the same way I just was.

    I ordered my mattress directly from Nectar and received an email with an estimated ship date of May 24th - 25th. Included in my purchase was the white glove service. Despite their claims that they will keep you informed every step of the way, I received no further communication after May 25th. Since I wasn't getting any updates, I decided to call Nectar directly on June 10th. The woman that I spoke with said she was having trouble getting in touch with the local white glove service company, a company that contracts with Nectar that Nectar seems to have very little control or influence over. After being on the phone for +20 minutes, the customer service representative said she would call me back. I never got that return call so I decided to call again on June 12th. All the customer service representative's read from the same script. Apologize for the poor experience but having no real authority to resolve issues.

    Jessica was having the same issues with getting in touch with the white glove service so after over an hour on the phone, I was finally able to get my order cancelled since there was no clear indication on when or if my mattress would be delivered. I should have come to this website first for real reviews versus the Nectar website, which no doubt scrubs what people see. There is no other explanation for the large disparity between their website rating and the one here on Consumer Affairs. Next up will be a canned response from someone at Nectar without addressing the real issue at hand. And one of Nectar's competitors will be picking up a customer that Nectar couldn't keep.

    I have had my mattress for a couple years and it has sagged so bad in the middle. I have to get a new mattress. They do not honor their lifetime warranty. The worst scams of a company.     My issue is customer service and warranty! My base stopped working and there is nobody to speak with except people who are not qualified other than to take your phone number! Reminds me of the cable company …you need to sit home and wait two days for a tech to return your call! I would never recommend their products as they have no tech support to call and their people who answer the phone need more training in the product and customer service fields! They say ten year warranty and now it’s broken one year after purchase and I was advised by the customer service representative that it’s only three years even though I bought the ten-year warranty! Beware of giving these people your money… there are far better companies that offer great customer service representatives in addition to standing behind their product…unlike Nectar!

    First and foremost: when I asked customer service how to leave a review (because there is no option on their website) I was told to DM their Instagram account. They basically filter their reviews so customers only see the good ones. These people are crooks. Anyway…the mattress is actually comfortable, but everything else about this company and its products is horrendous. The bed frame I purchased is beautiful and aesthetically exactly what I was hoping for, but it arrived damaged and they forgot to send the actual frame, so I just received the headboard. I called them and they said they don’t know what happened but they would send the frame right away (in 5-7 business days, after I had already thrown away my old one). They sent the frame AND another headboard.

    I had not opened the first headboard yet, as I obviously had nothing to attach it to so I waited for the remaining pieces to assemble everything, so I requested they come back and pick up the spare. I should’ve kept it because by the time I opened the first one and assembled it, I realized it was damaged… AND the frame arrived stained. The stain was in a spot that didn’t bother me too much so I was just going to let it go so I didn’t have to deal with this company any more…. Until 2 days later when a second frame arrived. I live alone and the frame is heavy as all get out, so I called them and asked them to come get it because the stain was nothing major but still warrants a partial refund because I didn’t pay $1300 for a damaged headboard and stained bedframe.

    Needless to say their system has a refund cap and I only received $50 back. After 4 phone calls, 3 messed up orders, and 2/2 damaged parts…it’s utterly unacceptable. Currently shopping for alternatives before requesting a complete refund and pickup. The company is a nightmare and sorely overpriced for the lackluster quality of their products.

    Would never recommend to anyone. Waited an extra long time for delivery only to have a broken queen base and the wrong size mattress (king size) delivered. Which was left at my house taking up space. Dealing with customer service was a process, hours on the phone and now I’m told there are no companies that will come pick up the items so it’s my responsibility to show proof that I’ve donated or brought these huge, heavy items to the dump before ill get a refund of my money. Meanwhile, this whole issue is their mistake. Missed a whole day of work to accommodate their very limited delivery options as well. Sleeping on the floor is less painful than dealing with Nectar.

    I bought a mattress and a sheet set bundle few months ago. The mattress is great. However, the sheet is terrible to sleep in. The sheet started feeling scratchy and has little rough bumps (as in the picture below) that cause me discomfort as I’m so conscious of the rough bumps when I lay my body on it. It sucks because this wasn’t too long ago that I purchased the sheets and it wasn’t cheap. Now I have to spend more money and get better sheets elsewhere. Very disappointed. Would not recommend buying sheets from Nectar.

    I am writing a review here because I cannot find anywhere on Nectar's website or my order confirmations to leave one. Firstly I will say, the buying delivering process was easy. We had no issues in that department. My review is mainly about the mattress itself. It's AWFUL. We got the Nectar Hybrid King Mattress. Based on all the reviews we thought this might be a good fit for us. My husband loves a firm bed, I like a soft, and this bed is rated a 5-6 firmness, so in between. Well, the bed is as hard as concrete. It was literally like sleeping on the floor. It was so so hard. Even my husband who loves a firm bed, couldn't sleep on it. We had the worst nights sleep waiting for the 30 day trial. I even called them several times begging them to take it back early.

    Also the sides of the bed completely collapse, like you literally roll off the side of the bed if you get too close. I would 100% no recommend the Hybrid at all. Unless you like the feel of sleeping on the floor. Luckily the return process was easy as well, after they tried offering us a topper, a new mattress and partial refund in their standard script they processed the return, ShareTown came out within 3 days, and the refund processed 2 days later. Customer service I would rate 5 of 5, but the mattress itself is a 1 of 5.

    My experience with Nectar has been so awful and I still haven’t receive bed my queen mattress and base. I’ve been 3 days now (almost a week and a half) to receive our products only to be told that it’s still going to be another day before FedEx delivers to our home.     I purchased the Nectar mattress about 3 years ago. The mattress is not as comfortable as a basic pillow-top bed. The quality of the mattress is poorly made, because it was manufactured in China. They forfeited quality to save a buck. The bed frames are poor quality as well. They creek and sound like it is going to fall apart. Every time I move it makes so much noise everyone can hear it throughout my home. The warranty on the mattress is a joke. They offer a 10 year warranty for $99.99 through a third-party vendor Mulberry. That is a scam.

    They want you too jump through hoops to file a claim. Be prepared if you can't use your mattress and your waiting for a claim to get processed you will be sleeping on the couch for a while. You can only email the warranty company and you will never be able to talk to a live person or a supervisor. I was told I could file a claim and I would get a replacement no questions asked. That is not true. You have to send photos and answer stupid questions from a customer service representative by email only, and the representative for some reason does not want to honor the warranty and could care less about you as a consumer. You will send all this information to get another email 3 or 4 days later asking for more information.

    Then wait again for 3 to 4 days for them to send you a cleaning kit. Then wait 7 to 14 days for the kit to arrive. After that if that stain doesn't come out you have to send more pictures, answer more stupid questions only for your claim to be denied even though your mattress is covered by the 10-year warranty. The total wait time is about a month, but they can keep you in a loop for more than a year as per other consumers of the Nectar mattress. I would not recommend this mattress to anyone.

    The company lied about the mattress being made in the USA and they were sued because this is not true. Made in China. If a company lies to their customers about their product you know it's no good and that's the only way sellers can dump a crappy product. My suggestion is to lay on the bed before you buy. This is a bed in a box, a very expensive box because the bed is not worth the price. Stay away from Nectar, and read the reviews to make an educated decision. If you depend on a good night's rest from a mattress, Nectar is not the company to purchase from.

    I recently ordered and received a split king Nectar premier mattress set. I also added the sleep bundle because I wanted to have the mattress protectors. The sleep bundle arrived shortly after the mattresses. We opened the protector and the sheets and found that they were both too small. When placed on the mattresses the cover won't reach the edge of all four corners at the same time. During sleep both the sheet and protector come off.

    I spoke with customer service multiple times. They said it was the correct product even though it doesn't fit. Customer service said that it could not be returned if it was open. How would I have known that it wouldn't fit without opening it? The bundle was $198. They refunded me $40. I called customer service after speaking to the chat. I was told an exception would be made and it would be refunded after an email with photos was sent. The following email again said that it was the correct product and no exception was made. I'm disappointed in this company and based on the treatment of the protector I will probably return the mattresses too.

    Updated on 04/23/2024: 4/23/24 the saga of lousy customer service from Nectar continues. Contacted the Better Business Bureau and I'm not sure what they do for you. I just got the same response I've been getting. We sent the refund to your bank, they need to distribute it to you. How many ways can I tell them that the bank account is closed? And why do I have to do their job? If you are looking at these mattresses thinking you are doing yourself any favors I suggest you run far, far away from your computer and find a place to think about how much time you have to do other people's jobs if you decide you don't like the mattress or anything else you bought because returning anything is pure hell with these guys.

    I don't think it's cool that they have my return, my money and I'm stuck with a hunk of junk in my living room as well. I've had to track the return, waste time complaining, call my bank. Oh, and find accounting training and screenshot it. Not that it did a bit of good. Has anyone figured out how to get anything completed with these guys yet?

    Updated on 04/03/2024: I'm following up on my previous review because I can't seem to find a way to do so anywhere else. My review is currently marked as resolution in progress. I responded to the senior customer service representative. I even spoke to him on the phone. It will be a week ago tomorrow, Thursday 3/28. I was promised an email with a summary of our phone discussion and because of the upcoming holiday he would get back to me on Monday 4/1 with an update on the resolution. I guess I should chalk that up to an April Fool's joke. I tried emailing the support@residenthome email address and even added legal. But of course no one seems to care. I've been trying to resolve this nonsense for 4 months now. I've done other people's jobs and been told to call my bank because they sent my refund to a closed account. I've reported this nonsense to the FTC already. Maybe I need to find one of those news reporters who do the consumer beware stories.

    Original Review: Customer Service is a dying art and these guys are carrying the coffin. We purchased 2 full size mattresses and foundations and 1 CA king mattress and foundation. The foundations are a joke and I admit that I was wrong for not reading the fine print. Pay attention, the 365 day trial is only for the mattresses. The foundation return has to be done in 50 days. Between moving and dealing with death in the family I missed this.

    We never used the two full size foundations. One is "holding up the wall in my living room" because we set up and realized we it. Bought a replacement and took it down. The other sat in the box. They finally decided to take the one in the box, so I still have the eye sore in my living room. The box has been picked up but I still haven't received a refund.

    First they couldn't find it, then I tracked it down to being stuck at FedEx and now it's because the original payment was canceled months ago which I had already told them but they insist on using. We are using our CA King foundation but the silicone that is used to hold the wood slates in place is coming off and I have to constantly fix those. We haven't even had this thing a full year. I wish I had known that my bed and my kids beds were just going to be a major source of stress instead of the investment I had hoped for. After 3 years of constant stress, I was hoping for less stress not this.

    1st the delivery service refused to move my bed frame and mattress when they arrived (already pre-arranged and paid extra for). After me and family moved the old bed, Nectar delivered a queen sized frame with a king sized mattress. They took the mattress back and left me with a bed frame. I have no bed to sleep in and Nectar rep said they won't order a new bed for 2 days, then it will take 2-5 days more, she wasn't really sure. Meanwhile I slept on a cot next to the frame, terrible customer service. Offered me $60...Haha. I guess it's worth $10 a day to not have a bed. I wish I kept my old bed! Find a different company! Do not do business with Nectar, they lie and they don't really care to make things right if they already got paid.

    Purchased in October of 2023, and didn't start using the mattress until a bit later. Mattress and frame ended up okay, but the sheets were terrible quality. Out of the box, they had factory defects and the corners were not sewn properly and the sheet fabric was not attached to the seam corners. After contacting customer support they said they provide zero warranty or return on opened products. How could you know the product was defective without opening it? Customer support was rude, which was shocking to me. Company is basically leaving me no choice but to consider a charge back with my bank on this one specific piece of the order, seeing as the product is damaged and Nectar refuses to exchange it. I'd advise against anyone looking to work with this company. Their warranty is misleading and borderline deceptive in their wording on their support of their products.

    I came to know of Nectar as a friend ordered a bed frame for his existing bed. It was very reasonably priced and somewhat stylish for the price. I needed two bedframes myself to complete an updating of my apartment. One came as expected and on time, within 10 days. The other one was a different story. I ordered the frame on October 30th. On November 7th I received a phone call that it would be delayed to the beginning of December and did I want to order another style of bedframe. I really liked the style I purchased and did not like any of their other styles so I agreed to wait until early December.

    Mid December came and no communication, no bedframe. I called and was told it was processing and should be coming the last week of December. I would receive an email when it shipped. Well it is now December 27th. No bed frame, no communication. I tried to call but was hung up on. I then opted for the chat option. I got another representative that I think was a robot. I texted my issue. I was told again it was being processed and I would receive an email when it actually shipped. I asked for a refund at this point. Just short of two months is too long to wait for something that may or may not be coming. It was very unclear.

    After being offered $50.00 to simply keep waiting for the bed frame I ordered or the opportunity to choose another style I had to get aggressive. I said I understand that you are simply an employee (or a robot which I think was more likely) and you may not have the authority to issue refunds as it is probably a strict no no for the company but to please put me in contact with someone that can issue a refund. After about 15 minutes of no communication I got an email from Nectar that the refund was being processed. I also checked my credit card which also indicated that a pending credit was issued. I then get a message from the employee/robot that it is company policy that the credit will not actually show on my card for 7-10 business days. This is 7-10 business days. They still have my money and I need that money to go buy a bed frame from a more trusted source. Never again.

    When you order from Nectar you see a message that says in stock, and that it will ship in 1-3 days. In reality, there is no telling when you will get your stuff. I ordered on the 27th of November, it's 12/9. Got the mattresses. The adjustable base was supposed to ship no later than December 3rd. When you contact them, they tell you it's 10 to 14 days. That's false advertisement. I could have went to Sleep Number. Smh. Buyer beware! Don't sell me a sleep dream and have me sleeping in the floor.

    I ordered a mattress and adjustable base from Nectar. For some reason both were set to ship on different days. Received the mattress in a reasonable amount of time. The ship date has come and gone for the adjustable base. Upon calling Nectar I was hung up on twice and they do not respond to emails. Eventually, I was able to make contact with customer service who told me that the base would be sent out at some point in time in the future. But that it would probably be two weeks or more. So now I have a mattress in a large box taking up room that I cannot open or use until I get an adjustable base.

    The original ship date was not when it was shipped and now they’re unable to tell me when to expect it. I know the adjustable base was on backorder. I would’ve chose something else. But they were not upfront about that and have yet to contact me and let me know that the base is backordered and they do not know when it will be available. At this point, I wished I had not purchased from Nectar.

    I ordered a queen size adjustable bed frame, mattress, and sleep bundle. I have to return the queen bed frame as it was broken, and a king mattress was delivered incorrectly instead of a queen size. Customer service insisted me to provide photos of the tags at the bottom of the bed frame and mattress. I have explained to her my parents are in their nineties, it is impossible for them to kneel or lift the bed frame or mattress to take photos at the bottom of the items as required.

    The items are heavy, I explained to her it could injure my parents, and that I have to drive a day to my parents to take some photos. But Customer Service ignored my situation and the conditions of my elderly parents, and said she had to follow the procedures to return. I was able to provide photos of the mattress box which contains the PO number and the barcode, the broken bed frame, and the unopened sleep bundle box at the time when I was chatting with her, but she insisted that the photos do not suffice for a return request.

    I am extremely disappointed that an elderly couple in their nineties are required to comply with the procedures to return some defective product and wrong item sent. I have wasted money hiring someone to assemble the bed, and then discovered the quality is so inferior. Service, quality, and the return procedures are unacceptable and terrible. Nectar Sleep has made it extremely cumbersome to return.

    Contacted Nectar Sleep about in home delivery and old mattress removal. The website advertises in home delivery and removal of old mattress. The website does not offer an option when making a purchase online!!! They want you to call them or chat and give them your cart number and they can add it to your cart!!! REALLY I chatted and spoke to 3 different customer service reps as well as one supervisor!!! Their website has no info on the specifics as to what is included in the service other than FAQ. The one rep told me that they would not remove box springs only old mattress!!!

    The supervisor told me that in home delivery and set up of adjustable base was not available.... I own one of their mattresses bought from a mattress store and I like it... I would steer clear from this company because of the deceiving customer service just on in home delivery!!! Even the Supervisor told me that I could purchase in home delivery online!!!! I don't know about you but I am tired of companies lying to their customers and talking in circles!!!! If I buy their bed I will have to buy it from someone else!!

    The purchase of the mattress to Nectar was decent experience, and it arrived as promised. When I put it on the bed it was softer than a bag of cotton candy. I couldn't move--I would only sink in. Once I got on the mattress, the only thing I could do was roll my body to move somewhere else. I spent the first night on it and woke up in incredible pain everywhere. I contacted them and they said just give it a little bit of time. Reluctantly, I spent another night on there. I couldn't even get out of bed because even sitting on the edge of the mattress I was so low that I was sitting basically my ankle height, and then couldn't stand up. I contacted them again. I said this was sheer torture for me. I couldn't get out of the bed and I couldn't move on it and they told me that

    I could not return it for 30 days. I explained that I was in torture and did they expect me to be in that condition for a month. And they just wouldn't respond. I did find a 30 day rule, but it was nowhere in the process of ordering it. I did try to think of it from their perspective and contacted them again and I said I understand some people may need to adapt to this new mattress and that might take some time but you know asking someone to tolerate pain for a while might be appropriate if they were training for a marathon or they were trying to you know do something they wanted or they needed to get through something for medical treatment. I wasn't keeping this for 30 days for any reason that I needed or wanted it was purely for their needs. Perhaps they were going to then deny me it for some reason and they did get to hold my money for this.

    I went back and said to them that I was 70 and had cancer in and asking me to undergo torture for a month, seem to be rather cruel. With no response, I told them that I might call in the news media have some and bring the mattress down to the street and I would sit in the fire, telling them that nectar sleep was torturing a 70 year old with cancer and wanted to make sure that he was continued to be tortured for 30 days. They didn't respond to that either.

    It was their 365 day return policy that encouraged me to buy from them. The only thing I can say right now is I don't know if they're going to honor that even after the 30 days. And perhaps some people do just do it or decide it's not worth worth it anymore. But at this point, I can only say that this return seems to be a scam. It is listed on the website, but it is not something that one sees it all in the purchase. It's not just the fine print. It's hidden on another page. So at this point, I'm out of my money, I can sleep on this mattress and I have no idea if they're going to do anything to resolve this or not. This is just theft hiding behind some small print.

    End it should tell you a little more about the company that they don't even wanna make an adjustment for someone to 70 with terminal cancer. I guess they wanna make sure that my final days are as torturous as possible. I gave them two stars because the purchase was an easy process but the mattress itself is unsleepable, and they are unwilling to honor the return policy.

    This mattress was very comfortable for ~3 years. After that, my side of the bed started to sag (now with a ~2" dent on one side) making it way less comfortable than my wife's side. The warranty policy states this defect is covered. Directly from the policy: "The following defects are covered: Deterioration causing the Mattress to have a visible indentation greater than one and one half inches (1.5”) that is not associated with an indentation or sag which results from use of an improper or unsupportive foundation or bed base." We have a supportive bed frame, so it seemed like it was folks like me that this warranty was designed for.

    I filed a claim, and was told that minor discoloration (if they didn't point it out, I wouldn't have even noticed it) of the mattress from 3 years of use voided the warranty. The claim was not related to the color of the mattress, and I struggle to understand why this justifies a deep dip in one side of the mattress. I'm not a lawyer, but it seems pretty misleading to call something a "forever warranty" with these kinds of loopholes. If you're looking for a mattress that only lasts a couple of years, then maybe this is the right one for you. But if you want to avoid getting taken for a ride by a warranty policy that is purely for marketing purposes, I'd take your money elsewhere.

    Nectar adjustable bed frame remote broke. There was something sliding around inside of it. We threw it in the trash as it was a safety hazard at that point, something inside of it could pose a choking hazard to our small children. We then sent Nectar an email letting them know it had broken and we needed to get a replacement. They refused to help us get a replacement, claiming that because we threw the remote away, they could not process a warranty claim for a new remote. We said, "Okay, well, we could just purchase a remote then, instead of going through warranty." They told us the replacement remotes were for warranty purposes only.

    Nectar does NOT tell you that you must keep broken remotes. I'm not even sure what someone would do if they LOST their remote. I have the back piece of it, which I kept because it has all the details in case they needed model numbers and such. Nope! Not good enough! So Nectar has replacement remotes, but they refuse to help us get another because we don't have the broken one any longer. This is no way to do business. We threw that remote away because it was a safety hazard, and we should not be abandoned because of it. We offered to purchase a remote, and that wasn't an option. Will never buy Nectar again. This is extremely unprofessional. We have a lovely adjustable bed that we cannot use.

    If you are shopping for a new mattress, which I assume you are, don't buy it from Nectar. The mattress itself is alright--not worth the price they charge however. The sides will sag when you sit on them, the smell is faint but doesn't vanish and the mattress itself certainly is an improvement to my previous mattress but not spectacular. However, it is the customer service that is beyond reproach. In California, all vendors who sell mattresses in this state are legally required to automatically arrange a free pickup of your old mattress.

    In 2021, I bought a cheap mattress from Overstock after an accident during a move and it was breathless how quick and seamless the process was for getting my old mattress picked up. In fact, I not only was able to schedule the pickup for my old mattress within MY schedule, it was picked up from my home one day after my new one arrived. Nectar? You will be lucky if they respond to your email. First, they ignored my comment that Fedex did not properly deliver my mattress and did not deliver to my apartment.

    However, by the time my mattress arrived, I had been sent zero emails, communications or links to schedule my old mattress to be picked-up. I contacted Nectar immediately and received no response. A day goes by, and I still have my large old mattress sitting in the middle of my apartment. I contact Nectar AGAIN, but do it via live chat. Not only did they NOT request a pickup, but put me through some interrogation of questions before they will put in the REQUEST.

    In 2023, this should NOT BE A PROBLEM. If there are certain laws mandating how you conduct your business, a consumer should NOT have to contact you TWICE to get you to follow the law. Of course, I got some robotic customer service excuse. "Oh we have to confirm details", confirm my foot! I am buying a queen mattress, so I need an old queen mattress picked up!

    It has been 4 days since my new mattress arrived, and I still haven't had my old mattress picked up. The joke of a company they arrange to pick up, also do not process your request immediately and show up whenever. No one contacted me to coordinate, but I received an unprofessional text from a complete stranger on a Sunday evening, stating that "they would be in the neighborhood" on X date during X time, of course not asking if you are actually home or professionally arranging a time that works. Then this stranger didn't even show up because I didn't "confirm". THE REQUEST TO PICK UP THE MATTRESS IS THE CONFIRMATION. They essentially wanted me to do their job for them and said that I needed to help them take the mattress outside. Are you kidding me!? People typically are buying new mattresses because they are sick, injured, recovering from surgery and so on.

    NEVER AGAIN. NEVER AGAIN. There is not one logical excuse for this--it is 2023 NOT 1980. I guess I didn't realize how efficient and customer service oriented Overstock is, especially now in comparison to Nectar. Complete joke and I regret this purchase. Never again.

    Prior to purchasing my mattress their customer service was fine but as soon as the purchase was made their customer service went down the tubes. I bought the extended warranty, which is through a different company, and when I received the warranty info it was for a different mattress than what I had bought. The warranty company (Extend) could not help me change this info and referred me back to Nectar. I spent nearly an hour trying to get someone to assist me and when I finally got someone on the phone she was rude and condescending, as though I had done something to cause this inconvenience. She ended the call saying she would have to get in touch with Extend to update the info and would follow-up with me when this was complete.

    I never got any follow-up from Nectar, even after emailing for a status on this request. The only way I confirmed that the change was made was by contacting Extend. The mattress itself is fine but it showed up on a Sunday when it was scheduled for a Tuesday and we had $2500 just sitting on our front sidewalk in a city where packages regularly go missing. The mattress protector was originally scheduled to be delivered within a few days of the mattress but it took an additional week and a half to arrive. This companies communication is awful and I am dreading if I ever need to use the warranty or decide to return the mattress because I can only imagine what a nightmare that would be. Would not recommend this company to anyone shopping for a mattress.

    Beware of their return policies. They focus so much on conversion of their website, that it’s almost impossible to find the fine print on returns? 365-days? Sure, only on the mattress. They’ll even ask you if you used their frame for proper use of the mattress. Super misleading. The dang thing is horribly uncomfortable too. Never, ever would I recommend Nectar to another human.

    Had this mattress for a few months and had horrible back pain... Thought it was because I was getting older, recently switched out for a new bed and all my pain is gone within a week. They do not stand by their 365-day trial as I've only had it for 8 months and told me there is nothing they can do because I bought it from their supplier. (Menards) looks like I'll have to talk to corporate Menards and tell them to stop carrying this brand. It's all just a scam, stay as far away as possible.

    Updated on 08/31/2023: I am now 2 Full Weeks past the original estimated time of delivery for my $4,000 dollar bed. Nobody on Nectar's Website or Nectar's Call Center can determine when I will receive my purchase. I made this purchase back in July and now it is almost September and not a single individual at Nectar is able to tell me when I should expect my purchase.

    Apparently, my beds are at a Warehouse and nobody at Nectar has a number to this Warehouse. For the last 10 days I have been told "just keep waiting", "maybe tomorrow someone will contact you", "I am so sorry, I will send you an update tomorrow". I have never gotten an email with an update, nobody has contacted me to schedule a time to deliver but I have kept waiting. I can not comprehend how a business can take $4,000 and not even have an estimated date of when you will receive what you have paid for. This is unbelievable. There are no managers to speak to either. Please read this before making your purchase. Spend more money so you can actually have a bed and not empty promises.

    Original Review: Nectar has the worst customer experience I have ever had. I spent almost $5,000 a month ago and still have yet to learn when I will receive my purchase. Every just says, "Sorry" and "Thank you for your money." There are no solutions. There are no managers to voice frustration. There are no concessions. There is only "Pay us and maybe one day you will receive your purchase." I wish I would have spent more and went with Sleep Number instead. They have real people and they take pride in what they do. It is not just a call center.

    My wife ordered the above mattress on July 4th and today's date is August 15th, 2023. Called every day and they still have no answer or given multiple answers as to why we don’t have the mattress. This is a very dishonest company and because of the price point we have no other choice but to wait. It’s going on 1.5 months and we still have nothing and already began to make payments.     My mattress was meant to arrive by last Thursday (5 days ago), and has still not arrived. I've been sleeping on the floor and contacting Nectar at 1-3 times everyday since Thursday. Every day, they tell me that I have to "wait for FedEx to respond to them" about my order. There was no other information given, nor any way for me to contact FedEx. The Case ID they gave me repeatedly did not work. They refused to allow me to refund and redo the order. Instead, they made me wait indefinitely, without the money to buy a new mattress.

    Every time I asked for an alternative or a REAL solution, I was told, again, to be patient and to wait. Every day for 5 days I was told to give them another 24 hours. Even worse - on Saturday, I was told I could go pick up my mattress from a FedEx physical location before 1pm. This was very difficult for me to get to (and defeated the point of a shipped mattress), but I spent the money and went there at noon - only to find that, despite their given hours, the place was closed.

    Total lack of problem solving or attempt to respond to my questions. Just lots of empty and vague promises with zero guarantees that the product will arrive soon. I am currently writing this from the floor of my bedroom. Finally, only today, after a near week of asking them, they finally agreed to redo my order and re-begin the process of shipping one out. By the time it arrives here, it will have been a week and a half of floor-sleeping. To compensate me for my wasted time and money, they've sent over a single pillow and a measly $30 (which barely covers the cost of my Saturday wild goose chase). I'm infuriated. My back and hips both hurt. Nectar customer service is nothing but stalling, empty promises, and total dismissiveness.

    If you’re planning on purchasing a Nectar I suggest checking out Reddit. Real reviews from real people. I am not sure if nectar paid for reviews or how it got such high ratings on a lot of sites. Conveniently a lot of sites I go to and try to write a review it will no longer allow. I bought because of the stellar reviews and kept despite the discomfort because I thought it had to have been me or something I was doing. There’s no way a mattress this highly rated could cause such pain. I literally spend the money on THREE different bases / bed frames hoping it was the support from one of those. Including the nectar adjustable base. I’ve never had such pain in my life. I wake up with severe back and neck pain like I’ve never experienced before. Convinced it couldn’t be a mattress this highly rated, I made multiple trips to the chiropractor. Even saw my ortho and had imaging scans thinking something was wrong. The only thing wrong was this mattress.

    Nectar support was EXTREMELY unhelpful. They took over a month to get back to me, I believe close to two- and when they finally did after repeated emails to them- what do you know it was past my return period now. I can’t afford a new mattress now or anytime soon so I’ve been suffering. I have a chronic disease which causes me to be very tired and have back issues. I’ve only been sleeping about 6 hours a night, I toss and turn. Wake up hardly able to get out of bed and with a headache. I have to take ** every morning which isn’t good for you. My all around quality of life is suffering and I hardly do anything after work anymore. I’m so tired and it’s all I can do to get through work.

    Even offering a resolution such as maybe a trial on a different mattress of theirs, or a 50% or heck even 25% refund. Anything. But no. Customer service was very rude, not warm and matter of fact after their very delayed response. Just, "Sorry - you’re past your return period. You can sell it if you don’t like it." Please do not buy this mattress. My boyfriend has a cheap no brand memory foam mattress from Walmart that was maybe 1/4 of the cost and it’s 1,000 better. I also read they falsely advertise- their mattresses are NO LONGER made of memory foam. It’s allegedly some plush memory foam replacement. I don't know if This is true but makes sense because other “memory foam” mattresses haven’t given me this issue.

    Purchased the DreamCloud bed and the Sheet set Bundle. The sheets were the Cheapest and most uncomfortable sheets we have EVER had. I wrote to customer support and they would not accept a return since the package was ''Opened". Still trying to understand how you can determine the quality without opening the packaging? But I can assure you, there is NO quality in these sheets at all, they're rough and extremely thin. You could go to the dollar store and get higher quality sheets. Hope you won't make the same mistake I did.

    While the mattress itself is adequate, our customer service experience was horrible. After purchase of a new mattress, a Nectar representative reached out to offer us an opportunity to take advantage of a sale they had going on which would upgrade our mattress quality at no extra cost. We naturally accepted. It was only after we received that mattress that we were not only charged the full amount, but they didn’t even apply the sale that they had reached out to us about. This ended up costing us an extra $300. When we reached out to the company, they ignored us. There are countless examples of this company doing similar things to unsuspecting customers. Do not purchase their products. They are a dishonest company.

    I wish I would have read real reviews from other sites before purchasing this mattress. All their reviews on their site were really high and after my experience there's nowhere to write a review on their site. Bad company with false promises. I purchased this mattress 7 years ago. Just like all the other reviews, the mattress is really firm and we assumed over time it would soften up. After 365 days, their no hassle return which also is not true, we noticed the bed is extremely hot to sleep in. We were sweating every night and we adapted to this by purchasing fans we ran all night long.

    The bed developed slants at the top of the bed from the awfully firm pillows they provide and after 3 years we rotated the bed and cleaned the mattress cover as it was stained yellow from our sweat. The cover ripped in an industrial washing machine. After 3 more years the other side of the top began to slant due to the terribly firm pillows. The top and now bottom of the mattress is slanted and why it's such a big issue is the pillows now roll to the slant.

    I began looking at other mattresses, though I should not have had so many issues with this bed in such short timeframes and the really sad part is we've been putting up with it adapting our sleeping habits to just continue living. I remembered there was a warranty and filed for one. The warranty process is not clear on their website, nor is it hassle free. They required many photos: A full "bird eye" view of the full mattress including the 4 corners. Close up photos of the dips/slants or problem areas with a tape measurer showing the depth. A photo of both mattress tags. A photo of the brand name on the side.

    I provided all the requested photos and was denied a warranty due to the yellowing of the mattress. There is no way to avoid this mattress turning yellow as it's incredibly hot to sleep in. All these reviews of the bed being firmer than advertised is true. It was firm until about 6 years in to which it went from really firm to having these soft dips sporadically in the mattress. I haven't had good sleep ever in this bed and have woken up achy for years now. Horrible company policies that are evident of their way of avoiding replacing their poor products.

    I bought a Nectar mattress and sheet set 4 years ago. The fitted sheet ripped, so I bought a new set since I loved how soft they were. The new sheets arrived and they are nothing like the original ones I bought. They're scratchy, stiff, and super thin. I tried to give them a wash to soften them up, but that didn't help at all and now I can't return them. Since I can't write a review on their website, I thought I'd write one here to warn people not to waste $120 on a worthless set of sheets like I unfortunately did.

Jan 5 I received an email telling me that to watch for an email about when it would ship. Ended up canceling the order after an hour on the phone with no answers. We will see if I get my money back.     We purchased the Premium Copper Hybrid mattress for my wife post surgery based on the test runs and information and provided by The salesman at Becker Furniture World in MN. It stayed rock hard after months when they said it would soften. Nectar will not replace, Becker says it has to go thru Nectar regarding the 365 day return policy and both companies refuse to help and just point at each other. Even after I said I would pay shipping and any difference in cost. Neither Company is willing to do anything to help us out. Nectar says we are not their customers due to buying it from their distributor. So we are out 2000 dollars and have a Mattress she cannot sleep on. Terrible customer service and the mattress is as hard as a rock!

    We received a brand new mattress, we unwrapped it and one will not inflate for 3 days. I called the warranty department, they gave me the runaround and they will not warranty their mattress, be aware, it is not true when they claim that they have a life time warranty, I had the mattress for 3 Days and they did want to even work with me.     Probably the most comfortable bed I've ever owned. Bought the mattress on a Tuesday, it was delivered on Thursday. I got a split king with an adjustable base Because the wife needs a higher sleep position than I do. That Thursday when I got home from work, I took a nap. I was out in less than 15 minutes. First night she tried the 0 gravity and she said there was no pain in her lower back at all.

    $150 down the drain for a sheet set. Ordered the sateen queen/full and hate these sheets for several reasons - the feel is not soft and is harsh against the skin. The fit of the sheets is off - they are huge on my full bed and offer no way to tailor. They slide around as I move in bed. Same with the pillow cases - they do not stay put! Therefore craftsmanship, attention to detail are not there. They do not keep me cool as advertised. I have not even had them 90 days and have made every effort to make these sheets work. I finally reached out to Nectar and they offered me a $30 credit. Thanks guys! Just goes to show what a scam company this is with all their fake reviews on their site - I just wrote an honest one and I bet they don't post. For this money, the above issues are not acceptable.

    I have never been more disgusted with a company. My 3 month old bed developed mold on the UNDERSIDE of the mattress. It is on a platform frame that consists of metal bars covered in thick canvas. There is a massive spot of mold that is approximately two feet long and a foot wide. The company refuses to offer me any sort of compensation whether it is a refund or a replacement. I was told this is an environmental change and not under warranty. The only help I was offered was being told to try placing the bed in the sun to try to kill the mold. Again, this is a brand new bed and the mold is located on the underside so I am having difficulty understanding how this could be due to something I did, along with the fact that there is no other furniture in my home that has any mold. Absolutely avoid these beds at all costs, unless you want to waste $850 dollars like I did, and put your health in jeopardy.

    This mattress is totally out of balance from day one. I thought it would work out the different levels after time. I was wrong. I can barely roll over on this mattress because the left side is so much firmer than the left. It has zero support on the edges of the bed. It will not stay put on the box Springs for even one night. I have contacted the company for some resolution but have no success. They say they have a 365 warranty but they have blocked me every time. They wanted me to send pictures of the mattress with weights on different sides which I did and never got a response. I want my money back now!

    UPDATED 1/27/2022: I recently purchased a Nectar mattress in a box and my decision was based on many positive reviews online. It was the worse decision ever, ended up with back pain, sleepless nights and above all, a company who gives you run-around instead of looking into a poor quality product and fix the issue. My word of advice is, don't even consider purchasing one. BTW, not sure if you read recently online that a company was forcing their employees to leave positive feedback online or else. Educate yourself and be aware.

    ORIGINAL REVIEW: Went online few weeks ago in search of a mattress for our new bed. Came across Nectar with somewhat high rating and fell for those phony reviews and purchased one. The first night I slept on it was the worse night. Mattress sunk on one side, then in the middle. I could not believe how cheap it's made. I gave it another try the following night; I almost fell off of the bed due to poor quality. I called the customer lack of service and the nightmare started. The representative asked me to put some heavy object on the mattress and take some pictures??? I replied that I just want to return this trash and they replied that this is how they operate. I took some pictures and sent them to the warranty dept.

    Keep in mind, the mattress is not even 5 days old, and I am getting run around. I got a new email that I need to take new photos of the bottom, top, sides, tags, ETC??? I lost it!! I replied that I just don't want this mattress which cost me almost $1400.00 which is not even worth anything. Why am I getting run around when you can simply issue a tag and drop it off by UPS. Nope, that was not an option. I called my credit card company and disputed the charge. Now, I finally know they want to get their trash back since I disputed the charge. STAY AWAY from this company. DON'T believe in those phony reviews. I have been informed by BBB that many companies ask their employees to leave positive reviews online as a "job security."

    Ordered king mattress and bed frame same day. Mattress came 2 days before frame. Nectar recommends that mattress not expand on a floor so waited until bed frame arrived. Opened plastic wrapper around mattress, opened in a curled position, not flat. After 72 hours expanded into a curled mattress with curled end not fully expanded and misshapen, and mattress itself is misshapen with foam top not fully in line with rest of mattress.

    Called customer service for replacement. Not happy with their response; lots of questions, needing photos, have to submit and they will get back to me. I asked for a supervisor and they said supervisor will say what she is saying. I asked several times; it was obvious she was reading from a script. Finally she said she would request a supervisor and one would call me. The customer service person also said she would send me email regarding the photos she needed, of the mattress and the mattress tags along with measurements. Whew!

    Fifteen or so minutes later a supervisor called me. She had to first verify the order number, name and email (again) in order to help. She said she could approve a replacement if I sent them the pictures now. And, shipment will take several business days, first to put the order together, get it to the shipper and then the actual shipment (was Fed Ex and the original shipment came in an open box) which will take several days more.

    Apparently for replacement they used to offer expedited shipment but that is no longer available. She said no one would expedite it. They also gave instructions on disposing the original shipment with options if we could not do it ourselves. I am waiting to see what those are. We are in the holiday season and this is not a good time to rely on shipments through routine processes, especially when sent a defective mattress. When I checked the mattress tags, found that the mattress was actually made in Mexico. That was a surprise for sure…I thought the mattress was made in the USA.

    Difficult to get a refund if you're not happy with the product. TWO months of emails. Mold surfaced in the product they sent after a week. Bed is not comfortable - not stable all around and you will feel off balanced. Definitely would NOT recommend this business.

    I can't believe all the 1 stars on this site. I tried many different mattresses at furniture stores before purchasing online. I chose it, because it was more comfortable than most of the 2 and 3 thousand dollar mattresses I tried. Anyone who buys something without trying first is foolish. My buying experience was amazing. I ordered it on Saturday, and it arrived on Thursday. They were in contact with me the entire time. This is the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. I sleep through the night and wake up pain free for the first time in years. The Serenity sleep bundle is also amazing. I would gladly pay $399, if it did not come free with my purchase. Some people are never satisfied, but I love my Nectar.

    I placed an order for a new mattress on 6/15/21. As of this morning (7/21/21), my mattress was still in a "Ready to Go" status on the tracking website they provide (it's been this way for over a week). Even though I have emails and transcripts from support chat saying it would ship 7/20-7/21. Spoke to a different person later on to find out this is not true, that internally they are still processing my mattress. I ended up cancelling and hopefully getting all of my money back. This experience has been awful, different answers from different people within minutes of talking. This just simply is not service I am ok with. If someone is willing to wait an unspecified amount of time for something costing upwards of $1000 be my guest.

    If your time and money is important to you, stay away from this company! I ordered a mattress from them after checking with their specialists numerous times on shipping and receiving time frames. I never received my mattress. I never received a refund. All attempts with customer service to get a reliable answer on anything just results in getting the run around more and more. Can't speak to a supervisor. Can't get an honest answer. Eventually, I will go through the dispute process with my credit card company, but even they say Nectar is terrible to deal with! So I am probably out my money!

    Buyers beware! Do not order from Nectar. When you place your order they will promise you a short delivery time to get you to purchase the mattress. On 5/24/21 we were originally told our mattress would arrive by 6/11/2021. However a week after we placed the order we were told there was a delay and that our order would ship at the end of June. This is considered bait and switch, luring customers in with the promise of fast delivery times only to turn around and say “oops we have a delay.” Customer service said she didn’t know why I was quoted a delivery date of 6/11/21 as it usually takes 21 days for the supplier to fulfill the order then an additional 5 to 10 business days for delivery... this is **, luring your customers in with fast shipping times and not following through is **. Bait & switch is an illegal business practice... so don’t be like me, go find another mattress company.

    Customer service said there is nothing they can do as they do not offer expedited processing and shipping. So I guess my dad who has congestive heart failure has to go another two to three weeks without his new mattress. Every day he asks “is it coming today? I can’t wait for my new bed.” It breaks him every time I have to tell him no. We’ve been waiting long enough and this mattress needs to be shipped TODAY!! Does anyone at nectar have a soul and a desire to do the right thing?

    Ordered and received the mattress in 2017. Arrived in great shape, easy to roll it out. Over the years we have noticed that the mattress is prone to feeling hot. It’s an unwelcome nuisance. No way to fix it. Would buy another composite mattress, but not until I’m assured that the new mattress has cooling agents built into it.

    Purchased mattress at local furniture store. Disappointed as I had heard such great things from others. With back problems, I gave up sleeping on it after 5 nights and moved to guest room—I could hardly walk of the mornings! Husband and I found it to be hot.     DO NOT BUY!!! I purchased a Nectar mattress in April of 2020, because my bed was hurting my back. The mattress was god for about 8 months until it started sinking and causing me back pain. I initiated my return request before the end of my trial period. They said that my mattress was in excellent condition, and offered me a mattress topper. I declined. They then offered to pay me $149 to keep it, and asked if I wanted to try one of their other mattresses. After reading the reviews, I decided not to try another one of their products.

    I contacted them once again for a full refund, only to be told by the agent that my trial period had passed and there was nothing I could do. The customer service agent was horrible, and she had no sympathy. She acted as if she was the one who had to reimburse me, and I made sure to put that on the survey asking about my experience with her. I informed the agent that I would be reporting them to the BBB. I will also be writing reviews on every outlet I can find! This mattress was $1000, and I want my money back!

    This has to be the worst service experience I have ever experienced with any company. Honestly, Genevieve was probably the best part of this catastrophe. After ordering a replacement remote control for an adjustable bed frame, which seemed so wonderfully effortless upfront, it was decided by Nectar that an entire adjustable base was shipped instead. This seemingly generous offer to replace the whole unit resulted in much of my time wasted over the course of 6 weeks, extreme frustration, and now the hassle of having to dispose of the existing base, which is in mint condition.

    On top of that, the replacement was initially shipped to the incorrect address despite me having confirmed the correct address at least three times with two different people. When I discovered it was at the incorrect address, I notified the Nectar team on the same day. After around 10 days, it had still not been collected with an agent telling me to reach out to FedEx myself to correct their mistake. During this time, the focus of the customer service team was on the solely on the shipment delivered to the incorrect address, constantly badgering me for more information and endless assistance. How hard would it have been for them to call their FedEx rep and ask them to collect the box?

    All the while, as the customer waiting on the delivery of the adjustable base, I was receiving no information on when I would receive the replacement despite asking numerous times for an ETA. I needed to arrange for the trash collectors to remove the old base, and wanted that to happened around the same time as the delivery. That did not happen.

    I was not provided with a tracking number this time around, and the delivery person delivered the shipment on the curb without ringing the doorbell or notifying me of the delivery. A neighbor rang my doorbell to tell me I had a delivery on the street, which I then had to drag inside myself. I live alone up two flights of stairs. There isn’t much I can think of that could’ve made this situation worse. Thanks for the free $25 dollar blanket, Nectar! My time is worth a lot more than a blanket I don’t even need and I certainly could've done without the aggravation of this debacle.

    While Nectar has a website full of 5 star reviews (they bury the 1 and 2 star ones and you have to search for them) this company proudly touts shipping of 3-5 business days. The reality is they take your money and then you never get your items. I'm coming up on 3 weeks and still no mattress. I have called, online chatted, and emailed to no avail. They keep pushing out the delivery date and I am now being told maybe I'll get the order in the next 3 weeks. Dig into the internet for reviews beyond their website and you will hear that their lower prices come with a hitch.....You have to wait a long time to ever see your order. I asked for a refund.

    Ordered my mattress on the 23 of March and have not received it yet!! I have been in contact with the company and they have given me nothing but excuses. They basically don't know when my mattress is going to be here. I was guaranteed that it would be here on the 12. I contacted them to see what's up and its still sitting in the warehouse and FedEx hasn't showed up because they are having major delays across the USA.. It's funny. I use FedEx regularly and haven't had any issues. I just want what I ordered. If they are having such issues then why are they selling these mattresses.

    Recently I purchased a Nectar mattress. One of the influences on buying a bed in a box was their 365 day warranty. My happiness is important to them. Ha! I decided against keeping the mattress and purchased a conventional mattress and box spring set instead. When I contacted the company to return the Nectar mattress they told me because the box has not been open within 90 days of getting the mattress it voided out the warranty (My home was under renovation during this time).

    How does this makes sense if I opened it or didn't open it? You cannot resell a used mattress regardless. I also ordered a metal bed frame and that too is unopened but they won't accept that either- voided out the warranty- really? a metal bed frame? This information is quietly mentioned on their website but nothing on the box of the mattress that it must be opened within 90 days- NOTHING. Buyer beware. Shady company to say the least. Plus, they didn't post my review on their website because it was negative!

    I really did not want to give ANY STARS - This is the absolute WORSE MATTRESS in the world! It is EXTREMELY HARD, NOT COOLING and impossible to turn over or even move without fully waking! Do not be fooled by the gifts they offer or the ads - Honestly you will be more comfortable sleeping on a concrete floor! And, that "Bundle" gift they offer is of the cheapest quality - don't expect the items to last after a couple of washings. After trying to sleep on this mattress for only one week I am still in bodily pain all over and since I am a side sleeper my shoulders feel like I require a visit to an orthopedist.

    The icing on the cake is the absolute lie about "easy returns." While they finally agreed to the return of the mattress after only having it for one month (but sleeping on it not even one week), I had to follow up to find out when they would be picking up the mattress I want to return. Only then I was told they don't have anyone in my area to pick up the mattress so I would have to find a charity to donate it to and complete paperwork with specific instructions OR donate it to a community member again, with very specific paperwork instructions OR dispose the mattress in a specific way and again with specific accompanying paperwork.

    My refund is contingent on ME DOING what they said they would do: "Nectar will help you find a local donation centre for your mattress." I called NECTAR to purchase the mattress because I wanted to ask very specific questions about their return procedures. I was told they would take care of the return process completely in the event I wanted to return the mattress and that I would not have to try to get it back in the box or find donation sites or disposal etc., but I'm sure the sale was the important thing at the time knowing they could change the return procedure at whim. Shame on you NECTAR for false advertising and false claims to your customers! I DO NOT RECOMMEND this mattress to anyone.

    I thought I would try out Nectar and felt safe ordering based on the 12 month return policy. First, they sent me two mattress and charged me for both (I ordered one). I had to call and get them to schedule a pick up of the second mattress that they accidentally delivered before they would remove the massive charge on my credit card. Well, fine, mistake happen. I did not like the mattress, it was far too soft/squishy and I really sank into it more than I needed, which lead to back issues. No problem, I thought, they have a stated 365 day return policy! I re-read the policy and made sure I was in full compliance. No damage, barely used, etc. So I applied for the return. This is where the problems began.

    First they spent the better part of two weeks asking me about my sleeping positions and offering me different extra padding (I declined) before they finally just offered me $150 to go on my way (I declined, I wanted to return the mattress and get a full refund.) Well, the fun was just beginning. They asked me to take multiple pictures in all different angles, which I happily obliged, sending multiple times. Radio silence for a while, when I followed up they told me the company they partner with does not service my area so they cant come pick up the mattress. You would think I live in the middle of no where. I live in the middle of Washington DC, the capital of the nation, on the eastern seaboard which is the most densely populated region of the country. AND Nectar had already come to my house weeks before to pick up the second mattress they erroneously delivered (and charged me for.) But suddenly no trucks on the east coast!

    So they told me I must find my own way to get someone to come take my mattress, and document everything. I couldnt find anyone who wanted my mattress and told them that. The Nectar people said, "Well you can pay someone to take it away but we won't cover costs. Or you can drag it out to have your garbage man pick it up" (which they dont do in DC) and even if they did they wanted me to ask the garbage man to *take a picture of the mattress at the dump*, then send it to me, so I could send it to Nectar to prove I dont still have the mattress.

    I finally reached a breaking point and said Im not paying to get the mattress out of my house and Im not bribing my local garbage man to take it away then text me pictures of it. That is not in the refund policy (which I read over and over again). I have complied with everything they asked, the mattress is brand new and waiting for Nectar to come get it. But they have now gone radio silent and stopped responding to me.

    Sadly I am now consulting with an attorney and looking to file a complaint with the DC Attorney General's office, which is pretty good at these kind of consumer fraud causes. I will also spread the word on my experience with this company as wide and far as possible until they give me the refund their policy guarantees. Tl;dr DO NOT BUY. This is a scam. They send you a subpar mattress and if you dont like it they *refuse* to refund you despite their pretend policy.

    I ordered 2 Twin XL mattresses with foundations. The construction of these Nectar foundations is basically a side rail made of a very small piece of wood covered with fabric, the wood eventually snapped on both, causing the foundation to sink in the middle, and there is NO middle support. I requested a replacement and they sent me a replacement and it had a completely different construction, made of metal, and it had a middle support with a leg in the middle! I was pleased.

    I requested for the other bed (that sunk at a later date), and they sent me the foundation they initially sent me. I requested the metal with the support, and they kept going in circles with me. They then said that they no work with that manufacturer anymore, so they can't help me and they will not refund me. I can't use this foundation, and it was $200. I'm appalled by this. They offer a 365 day guarantee... I thought... I placed the order May 2020, it's Feb 2021. What gives here???? I will continue to take action on this and spread the word at how horrible the quality of their products are and how poorly CS handles complaints.

    We had a house fire and lost everything. The first items we needed to replace were our beds. After research, three of the four of us bought Nectar beds. The beds themselves we like but it was a terrible experience from the beginning. Our beds arrived in several different packages on several different days. We could not even put one of them together for weeks because we did not have all the parts. Once we received them, the boxes were not marked and we had no idea which went with what bed. You have to connect all the wires yourself and the directions are terrible. Since the boxes and instructions were not marked, we initially installed the wrong motor on the wrong bed.

    After a few days, my husband’s remote stopped working and then the motor on his bed stopped working. We did a troubleshooting application via our phone with customer service, which did in fact show that there was a problem and they were going to send us replacement parts. The customer service agent told us that they would expedite the order and we would have it in two days. 6 weeks later we do not have it. My husband’s bed has been stuck with the head up all this time. I have to send emails continuously and get back automated responses. After spending over $4000.00 on beds, they gave us $35.00 for our troubles. $35.00 is an insult. Automated responses are an insult. My husband just wants to sleep in a bed.

    Nectar is an absolute snake oil company - DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. I placed an order on 12/27/2020 and was charged for the entire $800 in completion by 12/28. I have never had an experience where a company charges me first, and then sets a shipping date? I was trying to be gracious and understanding during the time of COVID, but I couldn’t overlook their disrespect and disregard for me as a customer and individual.

    I didn’t receive an anticipated ship date for another week and was told it would be 1/6. On 1/8/21 when I still had not received a shipment email, I reached out to their team to ask what was happening only to be told that it was in ‘pre-shipment’ and they didn’t have a date. So they were unable to articulate a date to complete the service for which they had already been paid for two weeks prior, and then when I asked to cancel the entire order at that point and simply refund my money they said they were unable to do so.

    I asked to have the shipment be returned to sender and they said they could not do that, I would have to wait for it to arrive and then somehow figure out how to ship it back myself- again the burden of their error and disengagement now on me the customer who has already taken on all of the risk and pain. I am now $800 dollars poorer, uncounted amounts of time and stress taken from me and my peace of mind and STILL WITHOUT WHAT I PURCHASED ALMOST A MONTH POST FACT. HEED MY WARNING AND NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE FRAUDULENT PEOPLE. I have cancelled the charge with my bank, filed a dispute with the BBB and a police report for fraud.

    Ordered a dual-king mattress (i.e. two full XL) nearly a month before Christmas, as a Christmas present for my wife. The first mattress arrived within a week, and all was well. But oddly, they didn't send the second mattress. Order details said it would arrive by the 15th though, so I didn't sweat it. It's now the 16th, the mattress hasn't arrived, and order details now don't give a date. I just had a chat with customer support and was told "we don't know when the mattress will arrive" and they can no longer guarantee that it will arrive before Christmas. When I asked for a refund, they said I had to have the mattress for 30 days before I could return it!! And that there's nothing they can (or will) do about it.

    So now I'm stuck with 1/2 of a present for my wife, no idea when the other half will come, and a company that doesn't care. What a joke of a company. Don't make promises you can't keep. And in the case when you can't come through, at least TRY to make it right. I will be a lifelong advocate for people to NOT purchase anything from Nectar.

    We did a lot of research and decided on Nectar ultimately due to their 365 day try it out policy. It assured us that even if we didn't get to go try it in a store first we could return for a full refund and try another mattress. Unfortunately it was all a lie! We tried this mattress for 5 months. In that time, my hips hurt constantly and we tried to put a mattress topper on to see if that was the issue. It helped my hips, but then it was extreme effort to try to get out of bed. Ultimately we decided, it wasn't worth keeping a mattress we had to purchase a topper for and it wasn't worth the money we spent on the mattress when it hurt to sleep on it. We started the return process on their website.

    They took a week to respond and spent several emails trying to talk us out of our decision and then trying to sell us on a sister mattress they had. I've repeatedly asked for a call back to speak with a live person and repeatedly asked for a refund. I continue to get the run around and now months into this return process they are now telling me I have to wait until January to get the mattress picked up and then they will see about my refund. It's ridiculous I've never received a call, it's ridiculous that I've had to take photos and spend my time fielding emails requesting a refund for them to repeatedly not provide the refund or even so much as an explanation of why they are taking their sweet time. The trial period and easy return process advertised has been a completely fraudulent advertising.

    It took several weeks to receive the mattress purchased directly from Nectar. I spent several hundred dollars buying topper for this mattress and ultimately decided to return it after 4 months of sleeping on it. The mattress is not good for pressure points and I would sweat at night because the mattress would heat up significantly. When I contacted them, they tried to tell me that they would refund $125 and I could keep the mattress. I told them I wanted a full refund and to stop playing the selling game. I was told that Sharetown would contact me to arrange to pick up the mattress. After over a week, I finally heard from them and they said they didn't have anyone who could pick it up. They wanted me to donate it but no one is taking mattress donations, then they wanted me to throw it out after slashing the mattress. In Vermont, it costs $50-$75 to dispose of a mattress.

    In addition, I would have to rent a truck to get it to the dump. Next, they said donate it to someone that I didn't know but they have to fill out a form. I asked about putting a free sign on the mattress but was told that I needed to have them fill out the form. I have a job and cannot sit at home waiting for a random person to pick up the mattress from the lawn. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the BBB. I would recommend that you avoid this company at all cost. You are better off to shop locally!

    This company makes promises which are all out lies. They may in fact have a decent product but for this consumer the experience has been minus 5 stars. Customer service exists of a bunch of liars who won't give you accurate info. After 20 business days my mattress hasn't been shipped and there is no telling from the idiots if or when it will be (it was promised to ship within 5-10 business days). I can not get a straight answer. The only thing I can get is it's ok for me to make concessions but not them....OH YES THEY'VE HAD MY MONEY FOR ALMOST A MONTH.     I purchased a mattress and was informed that it would ship between 5-10 days. After three weeks, I had still not received the mattress, and the delivery date kept getting pushed back. I cancelled the order and was told that I would receive a confirmation email. It's been 5 days - still no email. I left a one-star review - to which the company responded with their standard "someone will contact you..." Of course, no-one did - and my rating was later deleted. Save yourselves the headache and runaround - go to a company with better customer service than this.

    So 2 yrs ago I needed a new bed & after a lot of research I went with Nectar. BIG MISTAKE! It was supposed to be on sale but after doing their financing it cost around $1200. Not the biggest complaint though. They give a 365 day warranty because they know that their mattress won't last much longer than that! Foam broke down shortly after the year mark & created "ruts" for lack of better word. There is a dip where both me & my boyfriend sleep which created a lump in the middle! I turned it regularly trying to avoid that but to no avail. It has become so soft that I can no longer sleep on it due to severe back pain! I've had it barely 2 yrs. Definitely NOT worth the money! I never had an option to review on their site which leads me to believe they pay for good reviews.

    I ordered the Nectar mattress after a significant amount of research. At the time, they were offering $399 worth of additional "luxury" items to go with it - 2 pillows, an all-cotton luxury sheet set and mattress protector. I received the mattress and pillows together in reasonable time. It took forever to get the mattress protector and sheet set. When they finally arrived, they were cheap polyester that I could pay next to nothing for. When I contact customer service (there's no one to call, so just over email), I was repeatedly told "not to worry" and that they are "excellent" products. They are far from excellent - I would never use them...and they refuse to put me in touch with a supervisor or send me the original products advertised. I have the images and details in my email of what were promised. That's the least they should deliver. I feel duped and the whole experience has left me looking to cancel and return the entire purchase - despite the mattress being decent.

    The ordering process was fairly smooth and straightforward. Delivery arrived on time too. However, this mattress is not great for my back and so, within the first few weeks, I decided to return the mattress, as per the 365 day return policy. I appreciate the current challenges Covid brings, but currently, Nectar are unable to advise on when their mattress will even be collected and my money refunded. This is over 8 weeks of asking for advice on their collection process and all I continue hearing is that Nectar are well within the Ts and Cs of their contract. Far from helpful and has completely removed any positivity which may have existed, slim as that is. I would avoid using Nectar if there is the slightest incline you might return this product.

    The fact of their return is AFTER 30 days, if they even honor that. Horrible service and VERY misleading terms. The quality of the products are not as described. The products have odors and the sheets are 100% polyester, not cooling like advised. The mattresses are firm not as described. I have never dealt with a company that states I have to wait before returning an item. This whole process has been a nightmare and I highly do not suggest buying any of their products. Prior to purchasing I contacted their customer service and was advised I could return my products for a full refund at any time no charge to me. This is NOT true. I want to support made in the USA companies but this is completely a scam.

    On August 11, 2020 I order a Nectar lush mattress with the adjustable bed frame and 2 king sized lush pillows. I received the bed frame on August 13th, however there was a manufacturer defect with a part that prevent the installation of the frame. On August 13th, I sent pictures are requested regarding the part and was assured that my replacement part would be send immediately.

    It is now September 14th, I still have to part, no bed to sleep in and nothing but excuses from the customer department via email. I just made my first payment and no bed to sleep on. They will no escalate my request for the part and keep saying we are monitoring. I don't need it monitored, I need it the defective part replaced. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated. This is the absolute worst customer service that I have ever experienced with ANY company... ever. I do not recommend Nectar due to their customer service. I cant rate the bed because I have no way to sleep in it. They can ship the frame in 2 days but cannot replace a defective part in over 30 days. This is a company that is happy to take your money but is unable to provide customer service, Totally disgusted.

    I ordered a mattress through one of their promotions on August 25th. By September 12th the mattress had still not shipped. They could not provide even an estimated ship date. They blamed their system and Covid. I asked to cancel the order that way I could purchase from a local mattress store. They can't cancel the order even though it hasn't shipped. They can't refund me. They can't do anything but tell me there are many parts involved in shipping items. HELLO, I understand that! DO NOT BUY a mattress from them. They are not reliable and their policies are terrible.

    Would not recommend Nectar products to anyone. Ordered bed and recommended Nectar frame/foundation on 4/25/20. Paid $400 just for the mattress foundation. One person sleeps in this bed. On 4/30/20, informed that the order was delayed. We first received our order in mid May, 2020. Ordered received but on August 12, 2020, the center bar of the foundation was cracked and a twist appeared to the whole foundation. On August 13, 2020, the Nectar was notified, sent them pictures and was informed via e-mail that a replacement would be sent....Nearly 4 weeks later and several emails asking when I would hear back from them, one bare centerpiece was sent.

    I could leave 0 star if I can. After I have the mattress for over 45 days. I called them. Ask for return. It took 60 days to get approval. Then we have to donate to non-profit organization. But due to the COVID 19. None of the organization accept the donation. Really drive me nut. No help from Nectar at all. Don't even think to try this mattress. Don't waste your money and time.

    On your website. Nectar Sleep still states you receive 399.00 worth of merchandise with order of bed. If you look at the BBB website and other customer reviews. You will see complaints of customers stating they didn't get all items ordered. Which is my complaint. The mattress pad they showed with my order. Is not what I received. Instead I received a thin plastic waterproof COVER. Which is not a mattress pad. Which I could have bought for 20.00 at Kohl's. I will never use. The sheets were probably 40.00 and the two pillows were probably 20.00. And for some reason my neck doesn't like the pillows. So the 399.00 accessories advertised on your website if you buy a Nectar Sleep mattress is a sham.

    If you go to the BBB website you can see for yourself what I am referring to. I am not even sure what the mattress is. As it shows that it is layered with memory foam etc. I can't even tell by the mattress I received. So would I refer a friend to this company? No I would not. And wish I bad done more research prior to purchasing bed.

    I'm posting this to make sure nobody I know makes the same mistake we made. We just purchased a Nectar mattress after doing tons of research and trying to find the correct one that would suit us. We were drawn to the Nectar because they BOLDLY offer a 365 night trial and state that the mattress can be returned easily. During the first night Chris woke up with severe back pain. He could barely stand up and had to roll out of bed. The mattress is way softer than they made it seem on their website and it caused his already bad back to hurt badly. We had to swap out the Nectar for our old mattress in the middle of the night. The Nectar is now sitting in the middle of the living room. We thought we could just email the company to return the mattress as it states online. EXCEPT, they make you keep the mattress for 30 days before they'll "initiate a return."

    We appealed to them because of the back pain and they traded about eight emails asking for pictures, offering us $150 credit, offering us a mattress topper but refused the return. Now we're stuck with a mattress in the middle of the living room for the next month. The only reason I can think that they do this is to hope that we stain or otherwise ruin the mattress so they can deny the return. These aren't cheap. Never buy a Nectar.

    My boyfriend and I purchased a (2) nightstands and bed frame. It was a little delayed with shipping because of Covid, no problems. When one of the nightstands arrived it had a chip out of it and the drawer sits on an angle and therefore has problems closing. Additionally, the bed frame was chipped and scratched all over - not something we were willing to pay close to $400 for. Nectar customer service assisted us in shipping out replacements (their email customer service system is SLOW so be warned). The replacements arrived really quickly which was nice, but this nightstand was in even worse condition. The nightstand was completely smashed on top, the top piece had become disconnected and it was not in any state to be used. Feeling frustrated we requested a refund.

    Nectar are happy to oblige, however, their refund policy/system is disgusting and embarrassing. Obviously they have so many returns and want a tax write off so we were told we had to donate the unusable broken item to a charity or church. It was an embarrassing experience asking the charity to then write a donation receipt to prove we'd donate it. I am shocked Nectar are allowed to get away with this and it truly is a poor. You shipped us (3) broken items and now we're expected to go out of our way to get this corrected. I wish there was somewhere I could report this poor business practice, I definitely do not recommend Nectar - the items are cheap and in bad condition on arrival.

    Be forewarned! Do not purchase from Nectar the mattress company. I ordered a mattress that has yet to be shipped and they are blaming it on delays from FED EX. Initially I received an email telling me it would be 7-14 day delay. When I received my actual email the ship date said July 25 - Aug 1st. Even after August 1st I've had no email updates from Nectar. Last week I chatted with the company while they gave me the excuses about FED EX delays. They told me I'd get an email update on Monday which I did that said exactly the same thing. So today I go to cancel my order altogether and all I get are excuses. Now they claim they can't cancel the shipping label until it is returned to their warehouse. Funny, on my chat session they told me it was still at the warehouse!

    In the meanwhile I'm on the hook for approximately 900. to Affirm which is how I chose to pay for it so I could make payments on it. According to Affirm's website you can't get a refund from Affirm until they've received one from the company (NECTAR). During my conversation I asked to speak to a supervisor. I still kept getting delayed. I was on the call for 26 minutes with no resolution.

    Don't buy NECTAR in stores either because my daughter was going to buy one and the mattress store told her possibly two weeks or more. Be forewarned. While I can attest that Co-Vid is real, I can't understand what the shortage is for so many things including mattresses! Nothing like placing blame either on the shipping company who probably hasn't even picked it up yet. DELAY tactics I'm sure. I can't review the actual product because I never received it. Only thing I did receive was the mattress cover I bought but can't even use till I get the mattress. I will NEVER do this again.

    As many others have mentioned, I purchased a Queen mattress during the 4th of July sale. Advertised with the Mattress was a Nectar bed sheet set valued at $150, and a Mattress Cover valued at $99. I ended up receiving a ComfortLab bed sheet set which goes in retail for $32. Absolutely ridiculous that they'd make this substitution without informing anyone, and just expect people to be okay with it. Although the Mattress is fine, I would recommend steering clear from Nectar, as their deals are incredibly deceptive, and will likely have you pay more than what Mattress costs with false promises of expensive add ons.

    I purchased the Nectar Mattress during their 4th of July promotion in 2020. The promotion was for free Nectar pillows, a Nectar mattress protector, and the Nectar bed sheets. Their promotion explicitly has a picture of the Nectar items on their site and explicitly state the value of the items (the sheets are worth 150 since the Nectar bedding retails for 150 on their site). A month and a half later, I receive the sheets in the mail but they are a 40 dollar sheet set (it is this one: **) I contact Nectar and they acknowledge that the sheets they sent me are $40 and offer to refund me $40. The reps state that this refund is not equal to the value promised. "Dean. If I can only provide the equal value of the sheets that was promised, I would've done so. However, there's a scope I can only reach."

    IMPORTANT: They also told me that any items in their promotion are not promised to be the actual items (they can be from third-party partners) nor are they promised to actually be the value listed. This was never stated on the promotion during purchase anywhere but I was told when asking for assistance on this the following, "Upon checking back and forth with our team, it seems that we are moving on to sending non-Nectar branded promotional items but of course still luxury and great quality items."

    Their promotions in the past (I cannot say regarding the future) are very much false advertising, at least in this instance. They use pictures and links of their products and cite those dollar values but will send you other third-party items for the free promotional items which are unexpected and not of equal value. This is very troubling and I would advise not to purchase from this business. I have a saved transcript of our chat regarding this false advertising in their promotions and included it with this review because I think transparency on this matter is of utmost importance: ** Also, you can see other reviews posted on this site regarding the same promotion and the same problem happening.

    I purchased the Nectar Queen mattress during a promotion offered over July 4th weekend. The Queen mattress, 2 Nectar pillows, mattress protector and luxury sheet set for $799. The pillows, protector and sheets were advertised as a $399 value, and if you look at those items on their website, it adds up. Pillows are $75 each (x2), sheets are $150 and protector is $99. I received the mattress with only a slight delay. The pillows were included. However, the mattress protector and sheets that were sent were garbage and not from Nectar, even though my order clearly reflected the mattress protector as a Nectar mattress protector valued at $99. And "luxury" sheets valued at $150.

    After numerous Chat sessions and emails I received a refund for the mattress protector since they could not deny that a Nectar Mattress Protector was shown in my order, not the synthetic cheap garbage that was shipped. Since the Nectar protector is designed for this particular mattress, I then bought the "real" Nectar mattress protector on their website since I had already received the $99 credit. I am still waiting even though when I ordered it, Nectar stated that it would ship in 2-3 business days. I am still waiting on the refund for the garbage sheets they sent me. Nectar has no customer service at all, Chat is a joke and their telephone number has the same message no matter when you call. No matter what I think of this mattress, I will never, ever purchase another item from this scam company. And the mattress is made in China!

    I ordered a Twin bed, the "deal," with 2 pillows and a mattress cover and sheets. As you see in many other reviews, delayed immediately. My friends loved their Nectar so I went for it, although, felt the price was very high. The mattress cover came in 3 weeks. The bed and pillows finally arrived after 4 weeks. I have yet to receive the sheets. Each time I reach out the reply is "be patient." At one point they said "at least you have a mattress cover." Very disappointed in customer service. I have now requested a refund. The bed itself is okay. I do not know if similar companies (Purple etc.) are better but I can say Nectar is not customer friendly.

    I still after 10 weeks still do not have one adjustable base. Customer service is only through email, each email answered by a different person. They keep blaming shipping on pandemic but older reviews consistently reveal same delays. We will most likely return mattresses as way too soft.

    Zero stars! Do not recommend! Their warehouse is overseas. They are manufactured in China and the frame and headboard that I purchase through them had bed bugs! I live in a brand new home. When I moved into the home I brought no old furniture with me. The only piece of furniture was the Nectar Mattress and bedframe. In the back of the headboard, there is a zipper and within that zipper bugs and eggs were living in there. Don’t check your mattress and bedframe, don’t take the risk and do not buy this product. Very poor customer service and their warehouse must be infested with BUGS!

    First let me say I'm a very patient person, and I did a lot of searching on these beds before I ordered. I needed a new bed because my current one was sinking, causing muscle tears in my back every day. Everything looked ok, even the YT reviews and other sites had high praise. However, this is all a false face to hook you into their hands.

    I placed an order on June 10th, for a King Bed, 2 Pillows, King Foundation (Frame), Luxury sheets with White Glove Service. A grand total of 1,500 dollars. I selected my ship time as 14 days, and was on my way. I got a confirmation email 1 week later. That sent me some yellow flags because I expect to get a confirm within 2 business days. I wrote it off and just chalked it up to Covid.

    What I then experienced was 60 days of hell. Your order does not ship all at once, oh noo, you get 4 separate shipments. The pillows are supposed to be smashed with the mattress but I wouldn't know since I never got it. About 30 days later I get an email with tracking and a second shipping status portal from Resident Homes (the parent company) explaining my sheets and protector are in the way. Really... Where did it ship from? China? As it comes out, yes, that's exactly where this stuff comes from. What they fail to mention is that is processing time (up to 60) + your shipping time selected at checkout. Also why two separate portals with conflicting information?

    So I wait and eventually they come. However, the sheets are nothing like what is online. I was supposed to get white 100% cotton, what I received was 100% polyester sand color from some no name random company. I was livid at this point, so I emailed support. Come to find out they can't reship the correct sheets because they don't have any. I didn't even check the protector because it was probably wrong too.

    After that I requested a cancel, at the same time I notified my bank to dispute it as that process takes 90 days. The next 3 weeks was back and forth of emails of, "Are you sure you want to cancel", and "If you do send us photos of the bed and the other items." Oh you mean the bed I never received? Sure I'll get right on that!! I send it multiple times for sheets and protector I have as they bounce me from one rep to another. Keep in mind the whole time the rest of my order has no tracking. It is around July 26th, the portal says it to be assigned tracking by July 8th lol.

    On day 57, I open a case complaint with the BBB. For those that didn't know, they got hit with a class action some year or so back for this same kinda thing. After Nectar Support forwarded me to the return team (finally...) I inform them of this, they had it canceled in 15mins and forwarded me to a senior to finish the return. Lesson here, if you get roped in and want to cancel open a BBB case against them, else they won't take you seriously.

    Still waiting on the return of funds but I have everything documented and sent to bank. Don't deal with phone or chat, you need to have proof of what's going on and you will make yourself more stressed being in hold. Do not deal with these people, I don't care how low cost they make their product or what things they say they will give you. Do not believe any YT reviews, as they probably get a kickback in revenue. Everything is low quality China stuff, so expect to wait double the time it takes for you to get things from China. They post selective reviews on their site, oh and don't use email in the Nectar site, use the Resident Homes one listed in the TOS. The Nectar one is just a black hole unmonitored box.

    Ordered Nectar 2 months ago and kept getting the run-around with our mattress. We ordered one for our son AFTER we ordered ours and his came a week later. Customer service was horrible and we cancelled. They could never give us a straight answer as to where exactly our mattress was or how much longer it would be. Even a supervisor couldn’t help us out and just told us “give it 2-3 more weeks”. Now we are in the process of trying to get a refund and it’s been such a long process. I would never recommend this company to anyone!

    I was a little skeptical of ordering a mattress rolled up in a box. The reviews, free shipping, extra foam pillows And interest free financing for 6 months was hard to beat. This mattress is wonderful, maybe the best I have ever had! It opened up great. No out gas odor and is heaven to sleep on. Foam mattresses can be hot in summer and cold in winter and in NV, that is a problem. The Nectar is neither of those, it is always the right temperature. It's hard to describe how awesome this mattress is, but if you have any back problems you have got to try it for yourself!! I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

    I purchased two mattresses that came with free sheets, pillows and mattress protectors. The price was good and reviews great. After the purchase was completed I found out there would be a three to four week delay in shipping which was unacceptable to me so I I attempted to cancel my order. Since there is no phone number it has to be by email. A few days go by and no answer. Then I get an email that says they are about to ship one of the mattresses. I emailed again stating I’m canceling my order and don’t want the mattress.

    A few more days go by, no answer. Then an email that the mattress is shipped. I finally get a response saying that it’s to late to stop shipping but they will cancel my order. I ask what to do when the mattress arrives and am told to take a picture and they will arrange shipping back. I send the pictures but no surprise I don’t get a response. Then another email arrives saying my second mattress is about to be shipped. At this point I finally find a phone number to call and after one hour and forty six minutes on hold I speak with a very pleasant agent who was very helpful. She arranged for a pickup of the two mattresses and canceled the rest of my order. I tracked the mattresses and they have been back at the warehouse for a week but no refund yet. I have sent at least six more emails and have had zero response.

    Now I get more emails saying the rest of my order is being shipped!!!! I have attempted to reach them to say I no longer live at that address but guess what, no response. Now even when calling the phone number it doesn’t even give m the option to hold, just email us!! I also attempted to use the chat feature but I never move beyond #83 in, line. I don’t know about the mattresses but I hope you don’t want to return them because you can’t get a hold of anyone, absolutely pathetic.

    I purchased 2 Twin XL bed foundations and mattresses because of reviews and "easy Returns". Well the beds did not work for my kids as they were literally falling off the sides. It was way too small and uncomfortable. I called to schedule refund and pick up ... of course it's not that easy. The bed foundations were initiated and approved to return, however, I am expected to find a charity and have the charity provide me with detailed specific receipt in which I have to provide to them within 30 days. (COVID time almost impossible)..before they will refund my money! As for the mattresses they will not even consider refund until 30 days have passed, as if my sons will shrink and miraculously fit on their mattress. So I have to go through this entire cumbersome, inefficient, inconvenient process. This is NOT what I was sold! Do not believe their advertisements. Beware of this company. GT

    This mattress is extremely soft. My wife, who is average/small size literally sinks to the floor or bed frame. It feels really cheap. We purchased it because we were enticed by the free pillows, mattress protector and sheets during a sale weekend. We literally can’t sleep on it. Would find a better mattress in the used furniture section on Craigslist. Please avoid. Finally, the return policy can only be initiated 30 days after purchase. We knew we didn’t want it after 5 minutes.

    I gave Nectar a neutral 3 stars because my experience with them is limited to one underwhelming interaction with a Nectar customer service representative. I was hoping to take advantage of a great sale that Nectar was having and to replace our current Helix mattress that we don't love. I had seen that they offer Katapult (formerly Zibby) financing which I use and have had a good experience with overall. After not being able to find the option anywhere on their site, I sent an email to their customer service department asking if they still work with Katapult. I was told that they do, but to get to the option I would need to apply for, and be denied, Affirm financing.

    I know from past experience that Affirm is not available to residents of Iowa and West Virginia, so I informed the rep of that and stated I did not want a hit on my credit report for something that would be denied because of my state of residence. Like I said, my experience is extremely limited to that one interaction, but I thought it was unfortunate that the rep completely disregarded me and assumed I was incorrect rather than looking into it and informing themselves so that the process might be better for those who live in the 2 states that Affirm doesn't serve. I realize that's a small percentage of people, but it still rubs me the wrong way to have to have a hit on my credit for no reason.

    I wanted to purchase this mattress, but I changed my mind. Their system somehow recorded my purchase, twice. I have the chat that says they cancelled the first order. However, I have the credit extended to me - twice. I am now on the line to pay for a mattress delivered to my home. I returned the mattress. They credited the first order. But they have not credited the second order. And I am still awaiting credit for my first payment that I made to Affirm, the company who extends credit to the consumers.

    I realized the magnitude of my mistake and now I am left with a bill and no merchandise to show for it. I have left at least five messages to customer service and not one customer service person has answered my email yet. The instant chat I waited three hours for while on a road trip essentially ended because the company closed California time. I wanted to log in today and try to chat today, but I was 164th in line to chat. All I would like to do is resolve the problem. I don't know what else to do now? Get a lawyer? But that will cost more money.

    I have had the worst experience with Nectar. First, we purchase a king size bed with foundation and free gifts. We knew there were delays, but we would have never expected to wait over 6 weeks to even receive the first shipment notification. Then, once we finally get the mattress and the foundation, we realized the latter was the wrong size (queen instead of king).

    I have been trying to reach out to customer service by phone for days, waited on the line for hours and hours (this is not an exaggeration), and when finally managed to talk with somebody (via chat, you can forget about calling them!), they told me I had to donate my foundation to a local organization, and send back a receipt within 30 days if I want to get a refund. After, and only after, I would be able to purchase the proper foundation, risking to have the mattress on the floor for another 6 weeks, or losing money.

    Now, why did they send me a queen size foundation with a king mattress in the first place? And given that that was their mistake, why now do I have to spend days and days trying to donate a foundation that nobody wants just to get a refund? I think their Customer Service is ridiculous, and the only person that I chatted with was extremely rude. The mattress (at least the portion that we can lay onto) is comfortable, but it's not worth the hell that they put you through. I recommend purchasing your bed with a different, much more serious company.

    Nectar Mattress Shipping Disaster!! Anyone else been waiting months for their Nectar Mattress?! With the same generic email response, “it’s on the truck waiting for UPS to get it.” I have never waiting so long for a product. Funny thing, when you place the order they say it will ship within 7-10 days. If I hadn’t already waited 2 months I would cancel and dispute the CC charge. And the lack of follow up is horrible! I serious have doubts it will ever show up.

    I should have come here before purchasing a Nectar Mattress and Frame. All the single stars/ratings merely exemplify exactly what I have been experiencing for the past 3 weeks. They may have wonderful products but their Customer Service is non-existent and trying to get an answer is a joke. Everyone who has written in with poor communication issues, shipping issues, delay in shipping issues has simply expressed everything I have experienced.

    I now have a King, 2 Twin XL's, sheet sets for all three, protective covers for all three sitting in my garage waiting for a return authorization. I am still waiting on the 2 Twin XL frames I ordered and which continue to get pushed out for no reason what so ever. They may have the best warranty (365 days and a lifetime warranty) but it will be worthless to all of us when they go out of business which would appear to me to be coming very soon. I should have known better and purchased from a local business! Don't do what many others have done and buy from Nectar. You will be frustrated, disappointed and probably pissed off and trust me it's not worth it.

    I ordered a mattress and bed stand on June 30th, 2020, then canceled it the next day on July 1st. Order #**. After many, many emails and them letting me know it was canceled, I look at the website where I financed it through Nectar website and it still had me as financing it with no cancellation. Then I called this company 6 times. I was on hold minimum over one hour to two hours before I hung up. They refused to answer any more of my emails and then I tried to call again and finally got someone who does not understand English too well. He said he would get it canceled so if it was canceled the day after I ordered it, why is it still on order? Also got an email stating my bed foundation was canceled and they were able to stop that part of it and I was being credited on my credit card $246.91. I never put anything on my credit card.

    Now, the company I financed it through called Affirm will be expecting a payment on something I canceled, and has to be paid by July 30th. I get an email today stating my mattress will be here Tuesday with a UPS tracking number attached. In the same email; it says I am getting the mattress cover FedEx on Wednesday. What is wrong with these people after I canceled it. When I first ordered it I sent a message for someone to call me and I was called within 5 minutes. Now that I canceled I left the same message numerous times and they refuse to answer me. I feel like I have been scammed into this product. These people are scam artist and have been in trouble with the FTC.

    I ordered a complete bed set from this company. After 3 weeks I finally got my mattress. I've been trying to contact them by phone and email. Cannot even get a real person on the phone to talk to and the automated email says the same thing. Foundation went from being here on the 10th of July to the 15th and now the 21st. Nobody at this company will get back to me. I really would like to send the mattress back, cancel my order and go somewhere else. I cannot get in touch with any human there. This is going on 6 weeks already and I’m SO TIRED of this company’s continued negligence and horrible customer service. Do not buy from them!!! The return process is HELL! They make you jump through a million hoops to get your money back. I still haven’t gotten a refund in six weeks! Oh, and the free pillows, sheets, and mattress pad?     I placed on order for a king sized mattress on May 24th. They stated that there would be delays due to COVID, which was understandable. Received a tracking number May 29th but the item did not ship. The tracking numbers were monitored until June 8th, then I contacted Nectar via live chat for an update. I was told maybe next week the items will ship. Over that weekend I researched reviews and found out that this company is not as reputable as I thought.

    I tried to cancel my order multiple times, trying 3-4 different live chat reps. They all told me that I cannot cancel my order, my items will ship soon etc. etc. Well, it's now a month later, I never received a single piece of my purchase from Nectar, they still refuse to give me my money back. I had to file a charge back with my bank because I'm out $1,000 and this company doesn't have any customer service presence. Please do yourself a favor and take your money to another company.     For those who have bought, or who are interested in buying an online-mattress, you should be aware of a scam being perpetrated by Nectar Sleep that is as clever as it is devious and fraudulent. Nectar Sleep, as do all online mattress companies, offers a risk free trial period during which you can determine whether or not you like their mattresses. Their website advertises this as, "Our 100% Risk-Free 365-Night Home Trial".

    When you go to their website to purchase a mattress, they advertise a promotional offer of $499 of free accessories with every mattress purchase (sheets, pillows, mattress protectors). This appears to be a limited time offer, with a countdown timer on the site, but it's been present for several months. It also is made to appear to be voluntary, something you must opt-in to, and they're quite aggressive about you doing so, with multiple pop-ups and forced clicks to avoid. But even if you don't click on the offer your check-out cart is pre-populated with these items.

    Beyond that, it is impossible to fully remove all of these items from your cart even if you wish to. You might think, how generous. They assign inflated, arbitrary values to these promotional items and inform you that you've saved $500 by getting these items for free. However, buried in the fine print of their terms and conditions is the following line, "Included promotional items are not eligible for return. Upon return of the mattress, the value of the included promotional items will be deducted from the total return amount."

    The scam works as follows: Nectar forces you to accept cheap, poor quality "promotional items" with your order, which they assign arbitrary and inflated values. When you then try to return your mattress during your trial period, they deduct that value and keep that money. Thus, there is never any way to get the full refund that is implicitly promised in their risk-free trial. In the end, it is indeed a risk-free trial, but only for Nectar Sleep and not for the consumer. Either way, they will be pocketing $500 of your money, regardless of whether you like their mattresses or not. Forewarned is forearmed.

    I normally don’t post reviews but I’m hoping to help other people by posting my experience. We ordered a king mattress, frame & got the free items. After 30 days from order, mattress still had not shipped. We received sheets & mattress protector which were not Nectar brand but retailed for $30 on Amazon. They false advertise “luxury” items retailing for much higher value but ship out whatever they have on hand. The bed frame came but had damage. After countless phone calls & long hold times decided to cancel the mattress and take our business elsewhere. Please be careful in dealing with this company. Their website is very misleading. If you search elsewhere for reviews, you will find a ton of unhappy customers.

    I ordered a Nectar mattress online 9 days ago. Immediately after ordering, I received a notification that my mattress would ship in two weeks or longer. I was not aware when I ordered it that shipping would take such a long time, and unfortunately we are getting ready to move across the country. I was concerned that the mattress would not arrive at our address before we moved, so I contacted the company. The first representative was understanding and suggested that the mattress be shipped 'at a later date' to the new address. Nothing was said about cancellation/refund, however, so I wrote to clarify, saying that I thought the best solution would be to cancel the order for now, and at a later date I could contact them again. I did not receive a response to this email, so yesterday (about a week after my email suggesting a cancellation/refund), I wrote again to clarify the status.

    This morning I received an email from a different representative who said, "The previous representative has already pitched the cancellation request to the Cancellation Department. However, due to the whelming backlog, the said department will be needing more time to cancel such. The attempt to cancelling your mattress and WGS is not a guarantee. But we'll definitely take action towards this". This response was quite concerning to me, as it seemed to be saying, 'maybe we'll cancel this but maybe we won't,' and again there was no mention of a refund. The image of a mattress arriving on the doorstep of my vacated house (after spending $1200+) is quite upsetting. The nonresponsiveness, lack of concern for the situation I am in, and lack of information that the company is providing about this order is astounding to me.

    I placed a order of King size Mattress from Nectarsleep.com and at the time Nectar had a promotion ($399 in free gift included with the purchase of mattress) which is still probably on the website. The scam is that consumers will come to Nectar website to purchase a mattress and will place the order with Free Gifts AUTOMATICALLY added to your cart. Nectar promises Free returns and Free Shipping and 365 night home trial. Now what consumers don’t know is that if they don’t like the mattress they won’t be able to return the $399 in free gifts. Nectar deducts the total of $399 + taxes from the original refund amount. So in a sense Nectar has created a win – win situation with this fraudulent tactic. Example 1 if consumer keeps mattress they make money. Example 2 if consumer returns mattress they make money with free gifts the consumer never intended to purchase in the first place. This is fraud.

    Also if I am new customer on site I should be made aware of this clearly, it should not be hidden so that new customers fall for scam. Basically Nectar is scamming every customer that tries to make a return. Also Nectar will do everything in their power to deter consumers from making a return in the first place. I have never had such a difficult time to make a return with any company before. After Nectar had shipped me a mattress in the first two days of using it I knew I didn’t like the mattress so I called up Nectar. I was told I have to wait 30 days of using it before attempting to make a return. I was never informed this would happen at the time of purchase. And at that time my free gifts had not even arrived yet. It was delayed. The customer representative never once told me that those sheets will be unreturnable if opened. This is an act Fraud. Not mention how difficult Nectar made it for me to contact customer service support.

    I tried calling in April and the telephone operation service says "due to Coronavirus we can't help". What kind of customer service is this. My only method of communication has been with email and Nectar take forever to reply back. Nectar basically hopes the customer just gives up and keeps the mattress, but I don't give up that easily. Also many time in the email Nectar PRESSURED me to keep the mattress. They offered me free mattress topper which I declined, they offered me $150 off my total purchase price, which I declined. So in summary I made a big mistake placing an order with Nectar. As of now Nectar owes me $399 + taxes, they only gave me a partial refund and I have filed a dispute with my bank.

    We bought two mattresses from Nectar. One we kept and the other was returned. That's where the issues started. Call and you'll wait more than an hour as I did twice. Then, when you're contacted, you have to take all sorts of pictures of tags, the mattress, etc. and finally you're hooked up with a company, in our case, ShareTown. OK, it's picked up. However, WE STILL GET BILLS FROM AFFIRM. Believe me, Affirm is in on this because they brush off the problem to Nectar. Only about $600 was returned and Affirm wants us to pay another $360. Why? The website clearly states a FULL REFUND. And we only kept the mattress for a week. We are essentially being bullied to pay the remainder of a product we don't own and returned in full compliance with their return policy. So, believe the nonsense about a FULL REFUND if you want, but it hasn't worked out that way for us. Shame on Nectar for making the full refund claim.

    Greetings, I am a sever of the servant, A yogi, avid meditator. I feed the homeless daily with the non-profit entity of my yoga group. I believe in the goodness’s and abundance of the universe and I believe in truth, justice and matters of the heart and not the cluttered mind. We are all spiritual, within this physical body. With that being said...

    NECTAR How could you be so heartless, cruel and intentionally ill-willed to your customers? In September 2019, I ordered a queen frame and bed. I loved the frame but was displeased with the bed. However before being displeased with the bed I realized that Nectar’s customer service was of extremely poor quality. Shipping times were exaggerated. I slept without a bed for days. Patience is key, but waiting on the phone for hours day after day only to no avail is unethical, and is done from a place that’s not of love or compassion on your end for humanity, your customers and quite frankly is a reflection of yourself.

    I have tried a total of over 89 times to reach Nectar through phone, each time being on hold for over an hour. When I finally was able to speak to someone, and expressed my concern. A representative sent me out a mattress topper of extremely poor quality. I expressed wanting to return my product, but the representative Kept pushing for me to try this topper first.

    Another month passes of me trying, until finally I reached out to my loan provider, Zibby, who called Nectar November 23, 26, 27, and 29th. No response from a Nectar. Holds galore. Even January 10th 2020 they tried to no avail. They were so diligent, so helpful. But of course...nectar abused their kindness, as it did mine and It’s doing to thousands of other customers. Zibby thought it was not fair for me to pay for something I have tried to return, and they have tried to return for me. After all I had made timely chronic payments on my frame.

    Ultimately, because they couldn’t get confirmation from nectar, it resulted in my account being charged off. Which means Recently they finally sent my account off to a collections agency which affects my credit, my livelihood, my future, my schooling education, and my entire life in the hold. NECTAR do know that I am not fearful! I believe in abundance, and love. I believe that the universe is working in my favor everyday! But the headache, heartache and dismay this company has brought to me through their lack of conscience must be shared with you all. Such is an absence of GOD!!

    Why would I had paid for something that causes pain to my body just to suffice for Nectar's lack of compassion, care or concern it’s lack thereof. Why say that individuals have a 360 day return policy? Only to give them hell to go through a return process? Why is your customer service so appalling? Why are your wait times so horrendous? Only to no avail in the end.

    Why have you made it so hard for people who are only looking to better their lives? Why do the customers who look to you for comfort like that? Silently too? Why the front? You genuinely operate from your false ego and have treated me and others as such. All for a bed? How can the higher ups sleep at night knowing they are treating their customers with such ill-will. I will do everything in my power to let the world know of your disconnect, and lack thereof.

    This review is only the beginning! I AM not paying for this mattress that I have been trying to return since October! Not to NECTAR, ZIBBY, The collections agency where my account is now situated. You will not use your power of being a large company to abuse The small guy (me)! Imagine the people who pay for this with their last dollar or all they have? I do not rate this company with any stars!! I am displeased in every way possible. I have been patient, kind and understanding, and it did not make a difference, and from my understanding, it never will to any entity that has an absence of GOD!

    P.S I’ve spent three hours today on hold, only for the call to disconnect again a minute ago. You don’t have to be mentally strong...NECTAR’s lack of communication and compassion causes depression to you, children of the universe! Protect yourself, protect energy.     This company is patently dishonest, and once you've entered the mousetrap you will regret it. They will not pick up their phone to discuss disputes. I tried twice, once with a 1 hr hold and the next with 2hr hold. Chat and email are the only options, and chat takes at least a half hour to get into queue with a person (robot). I ordered the special mattress combo that came with sheets and mattress protector. I've not received the mattress yet and have asked them to cancel it many times and refund my money. They always have an excuse. Chat finally said he would reroute the FedEx delivery of my mattress. Days later, they sent an email saying they couldn't cancel the shipment. The irony is, I contacted FedEx and they claimed not to have the package from the company to ship. Nectar makes up a story that it's sitting in some FedEx trailer out back or something like that, and things are just backed up.

    This bed was for my daughter, we got rid of her existing mattress because it was supposed to arrive on May 18. Then they sent an email saying it would be 5 to 7 days late. It didn't arrive. It's now weeks later. She's been sleeping on a blow up mattress that cost me extra, and all Nectar does is say it's on the way, but the FedEx tracking ID never updates. It just says "Label Created". I finally had it with this companies excuses. It's absurd to be told they can't cancel an order that hasn't even shipped or been received by FedEx. They basically hold your money hostage, and won't pick up the phone. I spent an hour in chat trying to make sense of it, and the language the support used gave me the feeling this person was using a script and English wasn't their preferred language.

    They finally sent return shipping labels today for the mattress protector and sheets (which btw are cheap quality). They mention nothing about a refund, or what I should do about the mattress when/if it should ever arrive. If you want to avoid the heartache with this fraudulent company then I would simply contact your bank or credit card company to enter into a dispute with them. I did, and notified Nectar, and that's when they sent the shipping labels. I would never have ordered from this company had I known this was the customer service I would receive. At a minimum they should update their website to reflect the real delivery timeframe and not the fast delivery of 7 to 10 days as advertised. Try any other mattress company, but call first and make sure you get a live person that will help you out should things not be to your liking.

    They promised free sheets, free pillows, and a mattress protector with the purchase of a mattress so I took the bait. This occurred on May 28, 2020. They said my order would arrive within 7-14 business days, with the timeframe being attributed to COVID-19 delays. No problem, I thought. But by June 12th, nothing had shown up. Then, mysteriously, I received the free sheets and free mattress protector at my door. The problem? They were different than the photos on their website, and to make matters worse, there was nothing "luxury" about them. On the contrary, they were 100% polyester and so, so cheap. So between the sheets and the repeated delays, I decided to cancel my order.

    After being number 83 in their Chat queue, I finally got an agent at the 100 minute mark. She offered to cancel my order, but said the free sheets couldn't be returned because they were opened. Ordinarily, I'd agree with such logic, but not when you send me the wrong sheets to begin with. This complicated matters because I also asked to cancel my mattress order during the chat, which meant the free sheets and mattress protector they sent me were free no more. To make a long story short, I immediately disconnected the chat and filed a dispute with my credit card company. Nectar is garbage company and their customer service is anything but "sweet." Avoid them at all costs, unless you'd like to experience the nightmare that inevitably comes with the purchase of their bed.

    My husband and I decided to get a new mattress from Nectar after a friend recommended them. The mattress looked decent and there was a memorial day sale going on, so we thought that a queen mattress with free sheets, pillows, and mattress protector for $799 was a good deal. Well, we were a bit too hasty because we found out we could get a Casper or ghost bed mattress for much cheaper through our Costco membership, so we emailed customer service to cancel the order before it shipped. There was no option to cancel the order on the website. We got no response for about three or four days, and then an email came saying since the mattress was in pre-shipment they couldn't cancel it. Oh well, we decide to give it a try. The mattress itself arrives a week later and it's merely ok.

    We've slept on it for two nights and have not gotten good sleep. The thing that gets me is the "sale items": the sheets, pillows, and mattress protector. Nectar says they are collectively worth $399, $99 for the protector, $150 for the sheet set, and $150 for the pillows. The sheet set they sent is Comfort Labs brand, which retails for around $35 on Amazon and doesn't even list fiber type or thread count anywhere on the package. They fit the mattress very poorly and feel like a synthetic fiber. The two pillows are Nectar brand but they're just cheap shells stuffed with bits and pieces of torn up foam. Very lumpy and uncomfortable. We haven't even gotten the mattress protector yet. There's no way that these items are worth anywhere near $399 together. We'll be trying to get our money back as soon as possible.

    Let me start by saying that I had very high hopes for this company and its mattresses. The delivery time was much longer than first quoted and I live in an urban area, so ultimately I decided to attempt to cancel the order before it even shipped. I was told it was not possible because they did not have a reliable way of getting in touch with their warehouse in order to cancel the order. Keep in mind this was 1 day following placing the order. Plus the mattress did not ship for another week...

    I was trying to save them the shipping costs, but they told me to wait on it and then start a return. Which is what I did, I never even opened the box. Getting a return label from them was a slow and frustrating process. Several emails back and forth to finally get a label. Also worth noting, this thing weighs 84lbs, so I had to lug this mattress up to a UPS store solely because they could not (or would not) cancel the order before it even shipped!

    Now that it has been returned I am still waiting on my refund, going on 7 business days, which is way to slow. They acknowledge they have received the mattress but God only knows when I will see my money. Then this morning I get an email telling me that my order was running late. What order? They are sending me a mattress cover for a mattress that I returned to them 10 days ago. This company is a joke to work with and their customer service is abysmal. Don't give them a single dollar of your money, there are too many competitors out there. This is no way to run an online company. Avoid them like the plague and keep your money!

    First off let me say I ordered King mattress, king bed frame, Free sheets and Mattress pad. I ordered this on May 15th. I received an email on May 18th. My bed frame would be delivered that Friday with the tracking number they provided, I was like wow. The mattress I was told would be delayed for 5 days due to Covid. No problem. Friday came and went no bed frame. Of course I panicked thinking it was stolen or I had to sign for it. I ran to my computer and wow it shows the tracking delivery date removed. I was confused so of course I thought ok maybe I was seeing something that wasn't there.

    I get another email May 23rd. Your delivery date for the bed frame is that coming Friday. Ok great. When is the mattress coming? I finally got my mattress on June 3rd, bed frame never came. I checked again. I called. 2hour wait time to actually speak to someone because at this point I had gotten rid of my bedroom set because according to the emails I received I should have had the frame and the mattress HA nope. The nicest guy gets on the phone and I explain I am sleeping on the floor and when is my bed frame actually being sent since I got all these emails with every Friday being the delivery date. He put me on hold and said the warehouse promises that your bed frame will be shipped out by Friday. So I hang up the phone like okay what is a few more days on the floor.

    Well Friday came and went. FedEx says they have not given us your bed frame to ship so once again I try to call and it's about 2 hour wait to talk to someone so I use their chat which is only a 1 hour wait. I eat dinner, watch a movie, and then a lady comes on and basically says, "I see the tracking number here which means it's ready to be shipped," I said, "Are you crazy? This frame has had the tracking number since May 18th. Tracking doesn't mean you are shipping it, you do that to make people believe you are actually shipping. It's not a way to do business." They are never open when the hours they post they are open, so now I finally get my bed frame yesterday June 10th and it was ripped. 1/2 of the screw holes were not even drilled. The legs are plastic, the clamps are plastic and it looks nothing like the picture. Oh and let me just say the mattress hangs off the sides. It's not even made to fit their mattresses.

    DO NOT BUY FRAME. It's made from some cheap product board not wood either so of course the paper says if you need help please call M-F from 9am-9pm Eastern time so I was angry about this. Looks nothing like the picture and the holes are not drilled. You would think since I waited a month the holes could've been drilled. So I call and lo and behold it says they are closed. The mattress is not that bad however I am 100lbs and I never sweat. This mattress will make you sweat for sure. I don't think there is any cooling components in this mattress.

    However before you buy call them during their so called open hours and I would advise calling them after you get off work and don't push the button to order. Push the one that says already a customer and you will see this company doesn't care about their customers' satisfaction because after all the fake email delivery dates and I did give them the screenshots and the crap I dealt with they didn't offer me anything not even, "I'm sorry let me see what I can do for you." They rush to get you off the phone. If you're on chat and the agent is the last one to speak it will disconnect you too just a tip.

    I would never recommend this company to anyone. Not even an enemy. I will not return their stuff but I will be getting a better frame and a better mattress. I want to deal with a company that cares about their customers and actually has quality products, admits when they are wrong and try to fix the issues. You also can never speak to a manager. They won't let you. Again do the test for yourself and you will see and if I could I would not only show you pictures of the bed frame with about 1/2 of the screw holes but the legs are plastic and all the delivery dates. I will find a place to review that allows photos. Plus they don't post the 1 star reviews on their site.

    Placed order for nectar mattress and foundation but the order has taken almost 3 months and hasn't fully arrived yet. The items are shipped piece by piece including the free incentive items. Tried contacting customer support 7 times so far over this 3 month period via phone (1-888-724-5142), email (support@nectarsleep.com), and their web chat (found on faq page). Phone never gets answered, email was responded to after a month, but web chat allows you to speak with foreign support that doesn't speak English very well after a few hours of waiting in queue. Each time I spoke with a support member, they would lie to me and say "The item will ship within the week", "We are waiting for FedEx to load the item", or "You can expect shipment in 3 days." They will apologize profusely and tell you what you want to hear to get you to disconnect.

    The included incentive sheets were shredded and torn during the initial wash before ever being used. Haven't used Mattress, Protector, or Pillows yet to review them as I am still waiting on the foundation to arrive to put it all together. This company provides a bad, bad experience so expect frustration and a lengthy wait time, covid or not.

    I am writing this review in hopes of helping other people avoid losing their money (and sanity) to this company. My experience with Nectar over the last 3 months has been the most negative experience I have ever had with a company in my entire life. From the very beginning, there was a major lack of communication regarding my order and it took over one month to receive all the items. I did not receive shipping notifications or tracking numbers so I had no idea when my items were coming, and my numerous attempts to contact their customer service department to get some assistance was fruitless. If you try to contact this company via email or FB Messenger (those are the only options, you can no longer contact them by phone), expect to wait 1-2 weeks for a canned response.

    I did not receive a response from Nectar about the shipping notifications until after I had already received my mattress! While the mattress did seem to be decent quality, the “free” items that came with it were not. There’s no way they are worth $399, not even half that. The mattress was not a good fit for me and started causing back pain by day three. I waited the required 30 days for a return. I contacted Nectar for a refund. I provided them photos of the mattress and tags. The mattress is in great condition as I stopped sleeping on it after just a few days. I have now been trying to return my mattress for 6 weeks with no resolution. They will not offer me a refund and instead offer me other options such as a topper even though I have repeatedly stated each time that I do not want to keep the mattress and want a refund.

    Today (after waiting another two weeks to hear back from them) I received an email asking if I would consider keeping the mattress for $75. I am so frustrated. I am now out $500 and stuck with a mattress that I do not want. I live in an apartment and the mattress is currently taking up room in my already small bedroom since I’ve already purchased a different mattress. I am convinced this company is a scam since they do not offer any real solutions on returning the mattress and issuing a refund. I am planning on filing a complaint with the BBB and will be contacting the FTC. Do your research on this company before you purchase anything- you will see the numerous complaints online about their lack of customer service and returns and you will see that they are not BBB accredited. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company and its products.

    DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Not only did it take forever to finally get to me....I ended up buying another mattress from somewhere else and it arrived before this one! Of course they wouldn’t cancel my order. I had to wait until this mattress FINALLY arrived and then begin the return process which has been a NIGHTMARE. Not “easy” and not “free”. Communication takes weeks to actually talk to a service rep. Save yourself time and hassle.

    I had placed an order for a platform bed frame on May 13th, 2020 for a total of $408.37. I then received a bed frame as a gift on May 18th, 2020 and decided to cancel my order as it still showed as processing per their website. Their customer service phone number has been disabled, so I had to wait in their online chat queue.

    I was finally connected to representative "Kim A" and explained the situation and requested my order cancelled and refunded. She then told me she could not do anything and I had to wait for the item to be shipped and then I would have to ship it back and then I would have to wait for however long for the refund. Their shipping currently is delayed, so I knew it would be quite a while before any resolution happened. It made no sense to me why they could not just cancel the shipment of my package, especially since it wouldn't be shipped for weeks. All she said was that she could possibly just have the shipment rerouted to the warehouse instead.

    Some time goes by and I then receive an email on June 1st, 2020 stating that the bed has shipped and was on it's way to me. I again waited on their chat and was connected to "Eddilyn A" and explained the situation again. She told me she had no update on a reroute and to just refuse the delivery from FedEx and they couldn't refund me without pictures first. This was an unacceptable and unhelpful answer. I called Fedex and requested the shipment be rerouted back to the warehouse. I do not want the bed. I have stated multiple times that I DO NOT WANT THE BED. I don't understand why pictures are necessary when I will not be receiving the product. I demand my $408.37 back!

    I ordered this mattress online. I keep getting emails order delayed. Sent several emails to cancel order, also did a live chat and told to cancel order. They refused because order in process. Really.... several emails say order delayed. I had to contact my credit card company to lodge a complaint. My advice..... Don't order from this company!

    I have ordered 2 mattresses from Nectar. The first one they sent the wrong size. They do not answer the phone, and the chats generally take 45 minutes to an hour to connect to someone. It took about 5 different chats to resolve that issue. The second mattress I ordered finally arrived a bit slow, but expected due to virus, but the free stuff advertised has not even shipped yet and it’s been 11 days. I tried to inquire by chat, but was 104 in queue. That would take hours, so I sent an email in which I never received a response. They are not taking phone calls. While I like the mattresses, their customer service is pitiful. Really non existent. They offer a 365 day trial period, but I can’t imagine trying to get them to actually take one back.

    Not sure about their mattress yet, but don't expect it to be any better than their service to this point. I purchased a Cal-King mattress from Nectar and paid $150. extra for their white glove delivery which includes set up and removal of the old mattress and their site 2-5 days delivery. First they should have said 2-5 weeks delivery. They then set up delivery through a separate delivery co. and first it took that company over a week to deliver the mattress when they were a LOCAL CO. When the delivery people arrived the first thing they said before they even came in our house was they could not take our old mattress because their warehouse told them not to which made me mad because that was the main reason I paid the $150 because even with bad knees I could have opened the box and removed a thin plastic protecting the mattress which is what their white glove delivery ended up being.

    I contacted Nectar to complain about them not taking our old mattress and they said the delivery people said they wouldn't take our old mattress because it was a biohazard with many stains and they sent Nectar a very dark photo of a mattress that wasn't mine, mine has always been in a mattress cover and I sent them a photo of mine {a bright clear photo} that showed my very clean mattress. Nectar said they would get back to them and me. Long story short after a couple of weeks and many emails they still said they could not refund my charge or pick up my old mattress, basically calling us liars and they would not send anyone to confirm or claim. Needless to say they will never get any more business from me or anyone we know. Terrible business practice taking advantage of disabled senior citizens just because they can.

    For the first 3 years of mattress ownership, we have been relatively pleased. There was minimal smell from the time the mattress was opened, and a very comfortable mattress to sleep on for guests in our house. We then moved our 3 year old son in to the bed after he transitioned from his crib. As part of this process and to our horror, we identified what appears to be mold spores growing in the center of the mattress. After waiting to speak with customer service, I was given instructions to send pictures of the issue, the 4 corners of the mattress, and the production tag (which tells me they know they already have issues in certain production time periods).

    After a 5 minute review of these pictures and without any further inquiries as to the storage or usage of this mattress, I was informed that the mold was due to environmental issues within my home, and was not covered by the forever warranty. I honestly have no idea what that even means, other than this is Nectar's way to get out of providing what is promised to you when purchasing the mattress. This mattress has been inside of our home, and had relatively light usage over the course of its time in my house (keep in mind this was used for guests only up until the past month), so environmental issues, is just ludicrous.

    As a consolation, I was offered a 'new one time cover' so that I can essentially remove the top layer of the mattress, and replace with a new shiny cover; meanwhile the mold continues to grow in the mattress that my 3 year old sleeps on. No thanks Nectar, and please understand that you have lost a previously very satisfied customer. All Nectar buyers need to be very cautious of this, not only from a product standpoint (and the fact that the warranty is bogus), but very much so from a health standpoint. I firmly believe, they know that they have issues, but are refusing to stand behind their product.

    So, I guess all I can do is relay my bad experience with https://www.nectarsleep.com/, while I wait for them to respond or I get my mattress (if I get it).

    I ordered a twin mattress and frame on 15 May 2020. I refused to enter my purchasing credentials through a web page that did not allow purchasing through pay-pal. I've been victimized by fraud a couple of times and I'm not experiencing that again and I'll do everything I can to prevent losing money. I understand that for businesses to use pay-pal, there is probably a fee, and they like to keep cost down- which I empathize with.

    I contacted them at 1(888) 863-2827. The message I received was as follows: "Thank you for contacting Nectar by Resident, due to increased volume and the impact of COVID 19, we are experiencing a higher than normal volume of customer inquiries. In order to best address each of our customers concerns, we have decided to temporarily suspend phone communication and address all requests by an email or chat. For answers to many common questions regarding our products and services, please visit our FAQ page. If you require additional assistance, you can still reach us by an email or chat. You can find this information on our web page. We apologize for any delays and appreciate your patience while we work to assist you as quickly as possible."

    I went to the chat page and I was number 21 in the chat queue. It took about 45 minutes for me to get in contact with a rep. When I finally got to chat with a rep, I explained that I didn't feel comfortable entering my purchasing credentials on a web page that didn't except pay-pal for transactions. I was told that a representative would call me to conduct the sale. I purchased the mattress and frame from a representative at a call center in Honduras. The only reason I know this was because the rep was complaining about the heat. I asked him where he was calling from and he said Honduras. He told me he sent a confirmation to my email. I got his name or a name, which I won't share, though it sounded pretty fake.

    The money (around $800) came out of the bank as RESIDENT* NECTAR **. All I needed was a confirmation or receipt for my purchase. I didn't check my email that night. If I didn't get a confirmation, I'd deal with it tomorrow (today) because I didn't want to have to go through all of that again tonight(last night) just to get a hold of somebody. I got other things to do, you know? I checked my email today, 16 May 2020 and still no confirmation. I sent an email to shop@nectarsleep.com saying:

    "Hello, I need a receipt for an order I placed yesterday. My order number is ** for $***.**. I spoke with with (representative) from Honduras. However legitimate(or not) it may seem, this is the person who called me after a chat I had with the nectar chat center or whatever based on my not wanting to enter my purchasing credentials on to a website I am not sure is secure. I feel like this going to end badly and I will suffer a loss of $***.** with nothing to show for."

    Reluctantly, I got back in the chat line. I was 12 and then, somehow, I became thirteen. I decided to walk my dogs before I blew a gasket. I walked the dogs and talked to some friends down the street and resumed my place after about an hour in line and I was 13. About a half hour later, I was chatting with a rep. In this chat, I pasted that email and the rep said that all they can do is send a confirmation and that everything is virtual right now. I said that's great and all, but I never received a confirmation of anything from nectar. I asked, did you send another confirmation and she replied: YES.

    She then closed the chat like she was mad at me, not waiting to see if maybe I received it -and perhaps maybe if I got it, everything would be settled and we wouldn't have go through this again and again and again. She just dismissed me and set it up so I was someone else's (most likely her coworkers or other 'advocates' of Nectar) problem. I still never received any confirmation from Nectar.

    I share this because I feel some relief from frustration from the time that I spent having to go through this just to buy a stupid mattress. I thought if everything I read about the quality was true and I was happy with the first mattress, I'd buy another. I'll never do business with these guys again and I'd hate for anyone else, especially my friends, family, or acquaintances to have to experience this. I'll update this post when I get the mattress and the frame."

    It says it’s medium firm but it is not at all firm. It’s medium soft and can cause pain if you have any orthopedic problems. It does reduce motion which also means if you fall asleep in the wrong position you are likely to sleep that way all night. It doesn’t smell or “off gas.” It came with two amazing pillows and now I see they have free sheets and mattress cover which would be great. You can’t really sit on a memory foam mattress, which is something I didn’t know. Even though you can sleep on it the night it arrives, it takes three full days for it to completely expand if you follow the precise instructions.

    It sleeps relatively cool, or at least not hot, if you don’t put a waterproof mattress protector on it which it really needs. I wanted to return it in the worst way for the first two weeks but they don’t allow you to for 30 days and by then you do get used to it. My daughter got a memory foam mattress from Sam’s for $200 which is amazing and I wish I had shopped there first. I got it because I have really bad allergies. It has not bothered my asthma or allergies at all. I put it on a bare frame and rotate it every week. It really seems to need that. It’s so light. It’s very easy to rotate. It will slide around on the frame a bit.

    My wife and I ordered a queen size Nectar mattress back in April, slept on the mattress for about a month, and would wake up in the middle of the night because it was so difficult to sleep based on the hardness of the mattress. It was causing pressure points no matter whether you were on your side or on your back. Don't believe the claims that it's great for side sleepers or back sleepers. No way! So after a month we decided that the bed was not for us and this is where the real fun begins. After multiple attempts at contacting Nectar my wife has had minimal luck getting the supposed refund we are owed over $800! So much for the 365 sleep trial. Scam!

    The next problem we are going to run into (that is if they give us any refund at all) is the supposed "free" gifts that they sent us. (We never really wanted the pillows and sheets for a whopping $400 value!) We are now being told that the "free" gifts will be deducted from the price of the refund.... WHAT!?! There was never any mention in the original purchase of the mattress that the "free" gifts would be deducted from the refund if you weren't happy with their crappy mattress! So I guess no matter what Nectar will make at least $400 from every person who tries their mattresses because of the so-called "free" gifts.

    This is the biggest scam I have ever had the displeasure of being involved with and let me tell you it will be the last. I plan on contacting the Attorney General's office to file a formal complaint against Nectar. Maybe if enough people complain they will be forced to go out of business for good! Don't be fooled by the false advertising that Nectar is spewing out of their lying mouths.

    This company was paid upon order. Three weeks later NOTHING. They’re not taking any calls and their email response says shipping is delayed due to Covid 19, but they were able to send the pillowcases. My bank will reimburse me this week and I was able to order a Leesa mattress and it shipped within 48 hours. DO NOT BUY from this company - please read other reviews!!!!

    I find this company to be one of the most unprofessional companies I have dealt with in years. I ordered a mattress protector back on the 21st of April and was notified it was finally shipped on May 7th. During the delay, I tried calling the company multiple times to find out what was the holdup but they were not answering their phone. I tried to connect with them through Chat but found there were over 200 people waiting to do the same. So I emailed them multiple times and it took over 24 hours for them to respond each time with generic answers, but I was able to find out my package was sitting WITHIN their warehouse the whole time. I asked to cancel my order more than one time and each time they stated they couldn’t because it had already shipped within their warehouse and I had to wait until I received it. Then I would have to take pictures of the package and send them to Nectar via email for approval, and THEN they would allow for a refund.

    All during that time my package was still sitting within their warehouse. As soon as this mattress protector arrives I will immediately send it back for a refund, that is after I take photos and get approval. What a crook of… I will not allow this company to have any of my money. I would not recommend anyone doing business with this company. Please take your business elsewhere and save yourself the headache. All they had to do was put up a banner on their website stating there are shipping delay during this time, which would allow consumers the option to avoid the issues altogether.

    It's not worth a thousand dollars. It really doesn't help with any kind of aches and pains. Their foundation is not worth buying. Would not recommend. I have had Sleep Comfort beds and were a lot more comfortable. I have had regular box spring mattress that at were more comfortable. I am not a fan of the bed in a box.

    Ordered mattress a month ago Sunday when they advertised 1-2 ship out dates... But has not been shipped out yet. They have stopped answering their phones. Their beds are made in China... Is that the delay they don’t want to tell people? I’m not sure but frustrated with an expensive purchase, false advertising, and NO customer service or any answers. Do not buy!!!

    Horrible customer service! Ordered and didn't receive email confirmation and here we are two weeks later still no shipment of frame. Contacted 3 times via online chat and 1st time, no answer on my concerns, just told to wait longer. 2nd time waited all day and got disconnected when they closed. 3rd CSR disconnected the connection after a long conversation of what he couldn't do for me. Asked for refund on the frame being I've received my mattress BUT they stated I had to wait for shipment and then return item for refund even though the frame hasn't even left their facility. Upon reading more recent reviews, I see we are not the only ones going through this with the company. DO NOT Purchase from this company unless you just want to throw your hard earned money away and to be treated like crap when you expect that they deliver the product you purchased.

    We LOVE our Nectar mattresses. We purchased 2 TWIN XL mattresses as replacement for our Electropedic bed, which is a king bed using two twin xl mattresses. It is living up to its statement. The best we have slept on.

    I ordered a bed frame several weeks ago. They kept dodging the question of when it would be shipped (no response to multiple emails). The phone numbers were not in service at that time (now they simply say they can't take calls anymore and to use email or chat). Chat lines were 200+ waiting. Finally I posted a negative review on their website and someone contacted me. I cancelled the order because they still would not give me a ship date. They agreed. Today they emailed me telling me it is shipping. I do not want anything from this company. There is something dramatically wrong there and I recommend you find another company to purchase your mattress from.

    We ordered a Nectar mattress after I sustained a debilitating lower back injury in 2017. I was not able to sleep comfortably (if at all) on regular coil spring mattress/box spring. The Nectar offered memory foam mattress with 1yr full money back guarantee. If you buy a Nectar, the company will refund your total cost for any reason. Nectar will pick up mattress and then donate to local charity. No other bedding company provides this offer. The Nectar is the best sleep I have had since my injury. I sleep comfortably every night. I suffered in pain until I purchased the Nectar. For $700 it is absolutely the best you can buy regardless of price. I tried everything. Nectar is high quality bedding and I have recommended to many people. We now have 2 Nectars.

    This is a very stable and comfortable mattress and I would recommend it to all who want a good night's sleep. It only took two days to fully expand and be able to be used. The comfort comes from the many layers of support build into the mattress. The company also sent a package of two pillows, and a mattress cover. The only bad thing is that they promised me a sheet set which has yet to be delivered.

    I had ordered the King size Nectar mattress and bed frame with headboard back in February. When we received the mattress and headboard, the headboard was damaged and the mattress didn't expand fully. I reached out, they sent a replacement mattress and a $50 credit for the damaged headboard at that time. After we received the replacement, we decided later on that it wasn't for us in April, so I initiated a return for a full refund. They do not want the mattress back.

    You either have to donate it or recycle it. I chose the donation route. After submitting all requested and required information and pictures proving the donation took place (including detailed receipt), on 05/02 I received a refund for less than what I paid for the mattress. The King sized Nectar mattress was on sale when I bought it for $899 (before tax). I received $883.73 as a refund from Nectar (which leaves me out close to $100 after taxes). I'm beyond frustrated.

    I can't seem to get in contact with anyone now. I tried the chat, and my number in the queue keeps changing. Not sure why it would do that. Yesterday (05/02) I emailed back out to the lady that assisted me with the return and informed her of the problem, no response. I also submitted a new request on their website for someone to contact me. Nothing yet. If you are considering a Nectar mattress purchase, buy locally where you can get in contact with someone much easier. I would avoid buying straight from Nectarsleep.com at all costs. Believe me, it'll cost you your sanity and money.

    Given the current circumstances, I was aware there might be a slight delay in shipping, however, the Nectar Sleep website guaranteed 1-2 day shipping. A week after my order, I still had not received any notice. I called for an update only to find the line constantly busy. I sent an email to no avail. I waited over 2 1/2 hours to chat with someone only to finally receive a generic response with no specific details. After the chat, I did receive a notice for my “free” mattress cover but nothing about my mattress.

    Upon reading some really bad customer service reviews, I decided this company was not for me and decided to cancel my order. As per Nectar Sleep policy, my order qualified for cancellation. After a 45 minute online chat/battle to get my order cancelled, I finally got my less than helpful rep Gabriel R CONFIRM “we will cancel this through affirm” at 17:27:23 & “we gonna send out a request to cancel that through Affirm” at 17:27:40. Two minutes later the REP ended the conversation! MIRACULOUSLY, AT 17:57 my order with a tracking number appeared in my email. Now, according to Nectar policy, when I return this CANCELLED order, I will have to pay the shipping fees! DO NOT EVER TRY ORDERING FROM THIS SHAM OF A “BUSINESS”.

    THIS COMPANY WILL SCAM YOU! DO NOT ORDER A MATTRESS FROM www.Nectarsleep.com or www.Residenthome.com! I wish I would have seen reviews before I ordered a Dream Cloud Mattress from Resident Home. They advertise on their website - shipping guarantee within 1-2 days after ordering. They never shipped my mattress! When I tried to call customer service (8 times) and email them (6 times), they only answered 1 time. Only to tell me they are backed up with orders and haven't shipped it yet. They did email me back a couple times to tell me again that they haven't shipped it yet. Then when I requested a full refund, they said they would have to wait til they get the merchandise back to their warehouse in order to refund me. It never left their warehouse! I have filed a dispute with my bank.

    Online ordering was simple. Quick delivery. The mattress itself looked nice. But it measured at 10in which looked too small for my very large bed frame. I didn't find it comfortable at all, I slept on it through the adjustment period. I had a pillowtop before so I was hoping this would help my back pain but definitely made it worse. Was unable to return right away, I had to wait 30 days. The process to return was a little frustrating but I did get a full refund.

    I attempted to cancel my order right after it was placed. They told me it was processing and too late to cancel. I waited for all items to be shipped to my house and argued to have some rerouted to return to the distribution center. They only partially refunded my money. I have been on the phone for hours on hold and nobody in customer service has followed through with my requests for call back from supervisors. It was the worst purchasing experience to date. I never take the time to leave these types of reviews but I made an exception for these frauds!
