    Purchased the chair and 1/2 recliner about 7 years ago. It has held up very well. The fabric is very durable as well as the mechanical functions. The only drawback is the height of the back. Way too short and doesn't support the head and neck very well.

    It fell apart after 1 yr. Granted I used it as my bed because I can't sleep in a normal bed, I suffer from severe chronic pain and a recliner works the best in keeping the pain at a dull road so I can sleep the problems.

    I have an electric recliner which should be outfitted with an emergency release in the event of a power outage. You cannot get out of the chair if in a reclining position.

    I had a beautiful designer La-Z-Boy recliner when I purchased it.I honestly bought it for its look, but after getting it home and sitting in it I fell in total love with its comfort. It is not often that you can get something beautiful and totally comfortable however with La-Z-Boy you can. I highly recommend La-Z-Boy for its quality comfort and you cannot beat the price.

    I purchased not actually a recliner as such but a reclining sofa and love seat. With hindsight I wish I had purchased the power unit instead of the manual but it was a bit more expensive so I didn't. I also decided on leather because of the potential stains that could be generated with fabrics. All in all I guess I am pretty satisfied with what I have. If there is one draw back with my particular set it would be the durability of the set. I have had it now for about 2 and a half years and it is beginning to show signs of wear on the cushions and arms. For $3500 I thought it would have lasted longer.

    Was suppose to be leather. It changed color and they wouldn’t stand behind it. They wouldn’t replace or fix it. Would never buy from them again, and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

    Mechanics are not robust. If I weighed more, I believe the device would not hold long term. I expected "industrial" strength. Seems flimsy. Separate recliner arrived flawed and required service call.

    I love the looks of the recliner but a Yorkie jumped on the extended footrest and snapped the particle board with which the chair was cheaply made. Not long after, metal started coming through the fabric and poking people in the legs.

    La-Z-Boy make the best rocker recliner, many positions. You pay more, but it is worth it. Make sure you have the room for a rocker recliner, because if you go with the wall hugger, it is not as good.

    My mama bought our first La-Z-Boy recliner when I was in high school. I would never have another brand of recliner. It is the best! That very first recliner stayed in my den for years. When my daughter got married I gave her that same chair and still use it today. I am 66 years old so that proves La-Z-Boy is the best made, the best quality and the longest lasting chair on the market.

    Can’t even know where to start. Ordered a couch with recliners at the ends and two different recliners. We were told it would be 6 weeks. After multiple follow up phone calls after the quoted time, we finally received it 3, yes 3 months later. The seams are crooked on the $1,000 leather chair. The couch is another story. The two end recliners sounds like some sort of heavy equipment when pushing the button to the reclining position. The cushions are already sinking and we had for just 4 months. Very poorly made. Customer service wasn’t any help. I was stupid enough, I ordered armchair covers. Well that took another 3 months. Terrible customer service, run, don’t walk, to another store if you are in the market for furniture.

    I purchased a sofa and 2 chairs based on a prior La-Z-Boy purchase which I had for 29 years. However the latest sofa is awful! My husband and I are senior citizens who are the only ones using it. Two of the back cushions are completely crushed. The third one (never used) is fine. The seat cushions are also showing wear, as is the armrest. I got no satisfaction from the local store when I went in to complain, taking a picture with me. At this point I need a new sofa (after only a year and a half). I will never step foot in a La-Z-Boy store again and I will spread the horror story to my family and friends.

    Very sturdy and made well. After 10 years (& 3 kids) the Recliner became stuck in the fully reclined position. We were amazed it lasted so long considering the children jumping and playing on the furniture when no one was looking! We would buy another La-Z-Boy, the brand may be more pricey but well worth the investment.

    My recliner is OK but I thought it would be much better. It's difficult to get the recliner to go all the way back. It is very noisy when going back or getting it to go upright. It sounds like the entire recliner will burst. I purposely bought the one with a handle on the side to make the recliner go back. They have a motorized version but the salesman advised that the motor will wear out much faster than the handle style. All in all, I'm sorry that I did not get the motor version.

    Grandparents purchased late 1960s and became mine late 1980s. Sun faded fabric gave up mid 1990s with help from young kids. Slip covered. Finally recovered mid 2000s. Mechanically perfect. Still my favorite chair. Do they still make them this good?

    Being a short woman I wish they made more chairs for us. The La-Z-Boy is a well made recliner and I have owned many of them over the years. I did have one that tipped me over backwards and when I contacted the co they were not at all concerned. I’m not happy about that. They do give many choices in coverings and styles. The footrests are very adjustable except on the wall hugger and some automatic models.

    The recliner had clicks and wouldn't lock closed, of course just out of the warranty period, and then the right side wood split from trying to get out of the thing. Not a good buy and no support from La-Z-Boy.

    I have had to repair this chair over 10 times due to the screws stripping out of the very soft wood frame. I have never been able to recline completely without tipping backward. The upholstery is losing buttons already. I won't buy another La-Z-Boy.

    The two recliners I bought (one from Schewels and one from La-Z-Boy) were okay. The La-Z-Boy I bought from Schewels was actually better than the one I bought from La-Z-Boy. When reclining in the recliner that I bought from La-Z-Boy showroom it will go all the way back. There is no stopping it. The recliner from Schewels Furniture store will recline in a tighter tilt thus not leaning all the way back.

    I purchased my furniture about 2 years ago and have been highly dissatisfied every since. The recliners could wake the dead every time their open & closed and the end of the couch where my husband sits is already sinking.     I purchased my La-Z-Boy brand sofa from highly reputable "mom and pop" store. The service and delivery was great and why I choose to use them. The quality of the Briggs sofa to me has been disappointing. I am the only person using sofa and bought mainly to use for the leg lifts. I had read reviews before purchasing that the quality was bad in the Briggs but the woman I purchased it from talked me into the fact that not all reviews are worthy and that La-Z-Boy was tried and true. I have a Stratalounger lift chair that is probably 25 years old and I have used it every day for that 25 years but the lift part finally gave way. The chair itself... Immaculate.. And the firmness is same as when I probably bought.

    The difference in as other reviewers state, the quality of all products today is not what it was years ago. I bought a Klaussner sofa also at a reputable store for 900 dollars 10 years ago and same issue. That is why I needed to purchase new sofa. That couch wasn't hardly used because I used the Stratolounger. The cushions were terrible. No support. Getting back to La-Z-Boy Briggs sofa; for only owning for a year and half and the little bit I actually use the sofa, the support is pathetic. I hardly ever use the middle and no one else is here to sit in. I sit on the cushions and it is almost like sitting on the coils. I am extremely disappointed and wish I would have listened to my instinct based on bad reviews.

    This was my second La-Z-Boy recliner and this one got put through the ringer. It went from my son being born in 1978 to my Granddaughter birth in 2000 and then some. I bought a leather one because I feel that they last longer than fabric. And I guess this one proved me right. This time the mechanism never failed. The back was starting to give out when I gave it away to a family in Texas while I was living there, and believe me they were very happy to get a La-Z-Boy chair. So your reputation does mean a lot.     I bought my La-Z-Boy recliner on 4/7/2018. Within a month, screws started falling out and the recliner stopped working. It took a week to get a repairman. As per the repairman, some screws were missing and some were installed incorrectly. Recliner springs were misaligned also. Everything appears to be back to normal now, but what a disappointment to have it break in less than a month.

    My recliner is hard, cold, even though fabric, hard to push back and positions are not comfortable. I purchased a pair like my sister had for about 10 years but hers had more padding in cushion and back. I received the pair in October then left for a month... I have only sat in one, visitors the other. No one reclines. Their chairs have a good appearance, but I suggest exploring Facebook for opinions before investing in the price that is charged (and then the cost of delivery).

    My husband and I purchased 2 recliners from La-Z-Boy. Never again. Within 2 years the chairs started sagging. Where there was once some lumbar support there is none. Many years ago when my parents had purchased La-Z-Boy I thought they sold quality furniture. Very disappointed. The dealership would not help us in anyway. Next time I will purchase Flexsteel or Ekornes furniture.

    In my experience of owning a La-Z-Boy recliner I found them to be most comfortable and more moving parts to get comfortable. And they last the durability of them is better than most every La-Z-Boy. The price is up there a little bit but for Quality you're going to have to pay for a little bit. The one recliner lasted over 20 years but the arms gave out but it was still in good shape other than the arm stuffing. But that is on a recliner that was probably bought in the 80s and just recently and probably 2010 got rid of. So they are quality. You'll pay a little bit more but it is worth it because they have you can tell a La-Z-Boy because you can recline and has a extra recline mechanism where you can put your back down and leave your feet down or go up and then put your back down more versatile for positions. I'd buy one again without a doubt if I could afford it.

    The recliner makes a loud bang when putting the foot rest down. The seat flattened very quickly and did not stay comfortable for long. I will not buy any La-Z-Boy furniture again. This recliner did not live up to the quality that La-Z-Boy is supposed to have. I am very disappointed.

    Bought the leather recliner for husband. He took care of our granddaughter and they spent a lot of time in the chair. It lasted nine years and then we replaced it. Beautiful chair when new but looked pretty bad the last year we had it. Lots of good memories in that recliner.

    I bought my La-Z-Boy when my three children and a puppy. This poor chair took a lot of abuse and was the favorite chair for the 6 of us. This chair was my comfortable nursing chair and the cuddle chair for watching the game with daddy. When my children were ill with a cough... it allowed them to rest comfortably while being inclined.     Do not be fooled about the La-Z-Boy so called warranties especially when it comes to repair or upholstery cleaning. These items are contracted out and they use every excuse in the world not to honor the warranties or want outlandish fees to do the work. We will NEVER buy from La-Z-Boy again.     The recliner needs to be higher, too low for individuals with bad knees. It's hard for them to get up out of the chair. Also the seat needs to be thicker. I paid over 2,000 for my recliner.

    I've had my La-Z-Boy for 9 years and it has served well. Still comfortable, the leather is in great condition, mechanically sound, and I couldn't have asked for better. Others I've used are just ordinary, but this is special. So glad I got it, it has seen me through many physically challenging times in great shape.

    Our La-Z-Boy has been a well used recliner. I have had it 6 or 7 yrs. The mechanisms still work great and I have never had any complaints. I plan to buy a new La-Z-Boy this spring. I hope it is as durable as this one has been.

    Current 25%off sale on ALL furniture: When we purchased our sofas, we were told that if the sofas went on sale within 30 days we would get that price. The store has told us we don't qualify because the furniture we purchased was more that 25% off. According to our recollection,(and info) this is not true. It appears that some price juggling was done to disqualify us. Please check this out, as of right now we are extremely disappointed, and will purchase the additional furniture we need to purchase from a competitor, most likely never shop at La-Z-Boy again, and relay to others our recent experience.

    I bought my son one and he goes up and down in a recliner because of his brain damage. I even bought the warranty. After 3 months parts started falling off of it. I called the store. They sent a man out. He said he couldn't fix it. 2 weeks later they sent the money I paid for the warranty back to me. I had paid 900.00 for that chair! 300.00 for the warranty. And I still had a broke chair! I was outraged! I couldn't get any help!

    We will not buy anything but La-Z-Boy!!! We tried Lane the last time to save money & it was a nightmare and did not last. The recliner broke and had to have them out to fix it the first month. Then the material wore off where my elbows rubbed the microfiber off to some black material underneath the tan microfiber. We have not had any problems with any La-Z-Boys we have owned. They last forever and will work the extra money they cost.

    Have always purchased La-Z-Boy recliners, no other brand. Over the past several years the quality of chair has significantly declined while the price has significantly increased. Comfort is inconsistent from chair to chair even when buying two of same at time of purchase. Comfort has declined. Fabric patterns are cheap looking. Have had to return two recliners as they did not sit stable on floor and one you sank to the bottom when you sat down. Very disappointed in La-Z-Boy.

    I purchased a La-Z-Boy push back leather lady recliner. Beautiful. It lasted about 10 years before the whole right side came off. I also purchased a side arm La-Z-Boy. Beautiful, too. But the material didn't wear well. It was a soft leather light suede. It stained from sitting in it and never cleaned right. At a costly $1600 for each.

    We had the recliner for less than a year, it broke twice, we had to pay $50 each time to have a serviceman come out and fix the handle. It creaks when we push it back, has not worn well at all for the price and guarantee we were told it had.

    I bought my La-Z-Boy Wall Hugger from a La-Z-Boy retail store approximately 2014. I purchased this during a special event otherwise I would not have bought one at all. I feel their regular pricing is rather high. The chair was delivered on time and was exactly what I ordered. I love the "wall hugger" feature as to conserve on room space and it still operates (manual) perfectly.

    It is a very comfortable chair but I wish I had decided on the "other" one I was considering. Being a short person, the one I bought is too padded and plump at my shoulder height. This three-section styled upper back hits my head forward unless I somehow reposition myself. I feel it is better suited for a taller person. The padding is retaining its plumpness indicating great quality to me! The smaller of my final two choices probably would have been more comfortable for me. In spite of it, I still love the chair and its great quality. (Apologies for not recalling the two styles' names. They were both among their top sellers.)

    We purchased our La-Z-Boy couch and loveseat and the upgraded electrical recliner with the lumbar and neck adjustments. None of the furniture has held up to our expectations for La-Z-Boy name! The fabric on the recliner has not held up to wear, neither the chair or couches that were treated for stains and paid a pretty price for, has not showed that they have been treated. Liquids soak into the fabrics. The couch cushions go flat when sitting on them. We are not obese people and only 2 people live in this household. Very disappointed with the quality. Just poor quality for what was paid. Would not recommend this furniture company to anyone. My family had La-Z-Boy for years and grew up sorry on them and they are still good. It appears quality has been cut. So sad.

    Where to begin??? About 5 years ago, we bought a reclining, charcoal gray micro suede, loveseat and couch. We were told it was low maintenance, wipes clean with a damp cloth. Sort of. But, the first month, we had to have the back cushion of the couch replaced, twice. The cushioning was flattening and lost support, The next month, it was a bottom cushion with the same problem. However, the inside of cushion was falling out onto the floor. We're still having this problem. The worst, was cracking my elbow on the metal frame, inside the end cushions.

    Now, the metal frame is ripping through the micro suede, which we now need to cover with pillows. We've developed sore backs and necks when we sit on the furniture. They're simply unenjoyable. We avoid using them :( . Both couch and love seat have lost stability and comfort. Not even 5 years old! The fabric has stretched, losing its shape on the back cushions. We're getting rid of these lemons. Back in the 80's, my parents bought a couch, love seat and chair. They had it for about 18 years. The only thing that was ever changed, was the fabric. My husband I had it handed down to us, and we got another 10 years use out of it. It was built to last! I guess the red flag was when the saleman told us... "buy the insurance... I've seen a lot of people get new furniture, quite a bit"

    I spent $5,000 on custom couches and recliner. One couch has twisted stitching and the other has cushions that are different colors of blue from the base. I waited almost 3 months for the delivery (told 6 wks). They said to send pics. Then said they needed to send a rep to my house. Rep took more pics and agreed the mismatch colors were a problem but said they never fix bad, twisted stitching. Waited weeks for him to arrive but felt something would get resolved. More weeks went by. After numerous calls was finally told they couldn't tell from the picture so needed to re-send more pics. They never looked at the reps pics or read his report that there was a clear problem with cushions not matching the base. Then said nothing they could do, that I could call the CEO if I wanted. 6 months into it and now waiting to hear from the CEO. $5,000 for a custom living room set that looks like garbage. Worse customer service ever. Run!

    I really like the appearance and comfort of the recliner. I have had the recliner from new for about 10 years. Last year the spring that controls the recliner to allow it to recline, broke. The company send me a replacement free which I was able to install myself. Another part recently broke that holds the footrest and I was able to repair it with my own screws and bolts. So it looks like 9-10 years is its maximum life.

    Purchased 2 leather La-Z-Boy Recliners Sept. '15, along with 5 yr. complete warranty; added swivel bases - an outlay of $1800+ with tax. The seating area soon became less comfortable with poor cushioning. Having purchased the warranties, called service at Art Van and a rep. soon came. Seems the seat has to actually sink 2 inches before any replacement is considered. Explained that we'd only had the chairs 6 months and wondered why the seating had deteriorated so fast. He felt the interior and said that La-Z-Boy had used polyester fill with some foam in order to cut back on the cost of 100% quality foam due to the cost of foam. Will never purchase a La-Z-Boy piece of furniture again; you just wouldn't think they'd jeopardize the brand name to save a few bucks. Ever have a polyester filled pillow? - they have no resilience; once they go flat, they stay that way.

    Beautiful, well-build wing chair recliner which cost waaaaay too much but I purchased it anyway for the other attributes. I spend 12 - 14 hours a day in it on 1st recline mode because of my severe back pain. Occasionally I sleep all or a portion of the night in the recliner. I do not recline it fully - am not strong enough to get it all the way back.

    Seeing that contacting your customer service is impossible because you can never get someone to answer the phone. I will message you here and tell you this is the worst experience I have ever had with a company. I bought a couch and three chaise lounge reclined one time and then broke on the very first day! I think somehow the quality control dropped the ball. If I call and leave a message I should hope that a customer is important.     We spent over $6000 for two pieces from La-Z-Boy 6 weeks ago. We had it delivered yesterday only to find that the love seat is not stitched right and there are pits in the leather. The worse part is my husband went to sit in his recliner chair only to fall backwards due to the back not being aligned. It ripped the back of the chair due to him falling back. I called customer service and the soonest someone can come out is Tuesday to fix. My husband tried pulling back of recliner off as well as my neighbor and they both could not get it. I was told by the store manager she was going to see what she could do about getting it fixed before Tuesday but of course no call back last night.

    I expected this service from any other company but not La-Z-Boy. I could of taken my money and bought many more pieces of furniture for the price we spent on these two pieces. We feel La-Z-Boy was great at taking our money but now lousy with assisting with service! I should not have to reach out to customer service... they should be calling me! That is what a manager does. I will not be recommending La-Z-Boy at all at this point. I am ready to have them come and get all the furniture because of the pain and inconvenience. It seems like La-Z-Boy has become like the rest of the furniture retailers being about quantity not quality. Our last La-Z-Boy set lasted over 12 year hence why we were willing to go back and spend the extra for the great product.

    I bought a recliner on March 27, 2018. Within a couple of days of it being delivered I realized it was not working properly. La-Z-Boy wasn't able to send a workman until May 1st. The chair works properly for anyone of regular weight but not for someone of my heavy weight. I was not told that there is a weight limit on any of the chairs when I bought mine. Now the only help they will give me is to exchange the chair but charge me a $400 (30%) restocking fee because they say there is nothing wrong with the chair even though it doesn't work properly at my weight. Even the mechanic they sent found that to be true. I will never do business with La-Z-Boy again and I am also making a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. A company as well-known as La-Z-Boy should stand by their products.

    We bought 2 recliners believing that La-Z-Boy would stand behind their name! Nope!! Have been dealing with customer service ever since we bought these recliners! Chairs are not what is represented in the stores and the mechanisms are made of plastic and the chair is made of partial board! We have had 2 technicians out here. Waiting 6 weeks for both!!!     Stay away from La-Z-Boy Recliners. They are not "Genuine Leather." They are polyurethane which is PEELS... We have made several complaints with this store and it has taken quite some time to rectify the problem. When I complained - the response I received was "We have been communicating back and forth with the factory on getting some help with a repair, however I regret to inform you that have declined coverage.     The quality of the furniture is great. Just don't need to have a service appointment. First, if you are out of the year warranty, you MUST AND ARE REQUIRED to pay 1 hour labor rate upfront just to get an appointment. What a money making scheme. So now after waiting for over 2 months and being promised a morning appointment just received a call to confirm my appointment that I have been waiting 2 months for, that was supposed to be between 8am - 10am, that my technician would be there at 1pm - 4pm. When no one will be home.

    Called and spoke to Customer Care, and they were absolutely no help. All they could do was say, "I'm sorry." And to top it off, after already waiting 2 months, they want to reschedule a new appointment 5 weeks from today, which means that I've now waited 13 weeks to get my furniture repaired, if it actually takes place then. Now don't forget, they have my money for the original appointment. Someone should take accountability for this poor customer service. If someone from La-Z-Boy would like to talk with me, send me an email with contact info, I will be glad to call you. But I doubt I'll hear from you. And Nelly from Customer Care was supposed to call me back, and it's been over an hour and still waiting, why am I not surprised. The customer service is reflected in the name of the company... LAZY!!!!

    I purchased a chair, couch and dining set. I received the high leg lounger skew 167466. It came with 2 legs in the front that matched. 1 leg in the back that matched the front but had a white paint that won't scratch off and a different leg. So I called and the set up a man to come and change the legs. He came with 4 legs. 2 for the front that matched and 2 for the back that matched. However, the 4 legs did not match the 2 for front were different and the 2 at the back were different. So I've been calling and talking to people getting nowhere. Sending in pictures. Telling my story. I have a chair that's got the wrong back legs. I need it fixed or picked up.

    I am totally dissatisfied with the La-Z-Boy Brand when it comes to standing behind their product when it is a defect. A leather couch costing upward of $3500, delaminated. No misuse or chemical spill on it, as verified by the La-Z-Boy technician. La-Z-Boy stated that the warranty 1 year, had expired. I understand the warranty, as the clerk on the phone kept saying over and over. I asked for a supervisor and they would not transfer me. My complaint isn't with the clerk on how she handled things, it's all part of the La-Z-Boy name these days for their overpriced product.

    They are living on the past successes, no wonder why there is no one in their stores. Their product is not top grade but lower end vinyl. When your product fails, stand by it, support it and propose a solution instead of telling the customer you are SOL. Well La-Z-Boy you lost a customer, no big deal to you it's all about money and "who cares about the customer, or standing by their product". Well there are many other manufacturers out there and distributors that support their product and provide solutions to their customers, and often times half the price. I am totally disappointed, my parents just went out and bought another product because of this series of unfortunate events. Shame on you La-Z-Boy.

    I bought my La-Z-Boy recliner 8 years ago after having gone through two Chinese-made recliners in as many years. La-Z-Boy recliners cost about three times as much, but I was remembering the La-Z-Boy my dad had when I was a kid and was not in touch with current reality, so I paid a small fortune we really couldn't afford for a "superior" recliner. Just after the warranty expired, the mechanism to lift/lower the footrest broke. That's when I noticed that -- like the lousy recliners I had bought before it--it was made from cheap pine instead of oak or any other superior wood. Because of a back injury (and that we can't afford an adjustable bed), I have to sleep in the recliner every night. I've been using an ottoman for over 6 years now.

    Built to fail. Like most things made in America these days (and in China forever), this furniture is built to fail now, when it used to be built to last. La-Z-Boy recliners built before 1990 lasted for generations. All you had to do was replace the upholstery every decade or so and oil the joints on occasion and it would last a lifetime. That was then, this is now. Don't count on anything from this company working as it should after 2 years. If you can afford it, buy European: they still care about manufacturing quality merchandise.

    I have been a loyal customer of La-Z-Boy for last 20 years. Pretty much all my living/family room furniture has been bought at La-Z-Boy for last 20 years - 1 apartment + 2 houses. But - things seem to have been going down-hill - in product quality + customer support. I bought a recliner about 2 years ago - First - few months into it, its back gave up - and - it had to replaced. It took 3 months for back to replaced, needless to say it was un-usable for 3 months. Second - right about after 1 year, its mechanical system gave way. Since it was out of warranty, I had to pay for serviceperson to come check, and, replace. Third - same year, its motor gave way. Again same thing, pay to get service guy to come and replace. Now - Back which was replaced in first 3 months, is back to where it was - broken. Called service, and, they say I need to pay $600 to replace it. Seriously, $600 to fix a $1200 recliner. Seriously? Very disappointed - and - frustrated.

    November of 2017 we visited a La-Z-Boy store and sat in a very comfortable couch that had multiple reclining features. We worked with a nice sales rep, got pricing and within a week ordered a couch and love seat. Spending close to 6k. We were excited when we finally received our new furniture. Unfortunately after a month or so of squirming around trying to get comfortable my husband and I confessed to each other that we could not get comfortable. After some more time we visited the store again and it sounded, at first that there may be hope. We waited to speak to a manager, instead a salesperson brought us a phone for your customer care team. Upon calling them we were directed to a 3rd party who would come out and assess the furniture. I again the issue was not mechanical but comfort.

    The rep came out and assessed, understanding that my issue was comfort to the extent that both my husband and I were having physical issues. He said he would write up his findings and La-Z-Boy would be in contact. More than 3 weeks later nothing. I called the Customer Care and they read me the report that there were no mechanical issues. I advised I never said there was and the issue was comfort and that it was not like in any way the one in the store. I received an apologies that I "felt that way". When I asked when I was going to hear from them I was told, "We just read you the findings." I asked again, "Was there any intention to contact me." Kind of a no answer and apology.

    Very disappointed in response to the issue and lack of follow up. I was hoping for some out of the box thinking in effort to resolve an unfortunate issue. We would happily trade in for regular furniture in hopes that something without all the mechanics would be more comfortable. Considering there was no follow up to the visit we had I wonder if anything will come of this. Thank you.

    On April 5th of 2014 we bought the brown Eclipse Reclina-way sofa and rocker from La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery. The salesman was very enthusiastic about this sofa and chair and showed us numerous ways you could poke at the sofa using the pin on his name tag and it would NEVER rip. This stuff is “indestructible” he told us! It met the requirements of what we were looking for in a sofa and recliner so we bought it. Despite the large display by the salesman about how “durable” this furniture was we did purchase the Ultra Shield 5 year warranty. By July of 2015 the seams on both the rocker and sofa seat had come undone. I called the Ultra Shield company. Of course this was not covered by the warranty. I contacted La-Z-Boy and after a few conversations you agreed to replace the 2 pieces where the stitching was coming undone. I was thrilled because we were a couple months past the one year warranty.

    Now it is 2018 the leather on the couch and recliner are literally peeling off! There has never been any “damage” to the furniture and I have to assume it is just from sitting in it everyday? I have attached pictures of the damage as well as of my receipt and when I made the claim about the seams (which one is coming undone again)! I feel as though the material that this couch is made of is very poor quality. I wanted to contact you as a company first before I was to put any review online to see if you would be willing to fix the damage or replace the furniture. I have had La-Z-Boy furniture in the past and have not had this problem. I contacted La-Z-Boy on March 21st. They called me back to ask if the damage was to both the Sofa and Rocker. They indicated that they would submit the complaint and get back to me. I have heard nothing since and it is May 4th. I am EXTREMELY disappointed!

    We purchased an L-shaped couch from La-Z-Boy furniture in May 2015. This couch cost us $5000 and because of the investment we also purchased an extended warranty. After only three years from purchase, the fabric below the pillows on the footplate is threadbare. My husband and I are the only two in our household, and at age 66 and 72, can honestly say we do not abuse our furniture. I called the warranty company and they said the damage is not covered and that our warranty only covered pet damage and soil damage. I then contacted La-Z-Boy who said that the fabric was only guaranteed for one year and the damage to our couch is considered normal wear and tear.

    We were not told that at the time of purchase and would have expected a couch in this price range to last longer than three years. We also learned that the fabric we selected for this couch has been discontinued. Inferior fabric that we were not warned about? La-Z-Boy did offer to send someone out to give us an estimate of how much it would cost us to repair the damage. We would have to pay for all repairs. We have two other couches purchased at Macy's and a privately owned furniture company that are over 10 years old that showed no signs of wear and tear. I have seen couches in secondhand stores that look better than this piece of furniture at this point. I would not recommend La-Z-Boy to anyone and we will never do business to this company again.

    I have attempted to get repairs on (1) of the (4) four recliners I have bought from La-Z-Boy. I have been told one part of the chair is covered by warranty and the other is covered by a THIRD party repair company. I have contacted La-Z-Boy and the repair company "servpro"/ "ultra shield" several (more than 3) times. As of today 5/03/2018 nothing has been repaired or even scheduled to be repaired. I have also been told several times that someone from customer service would contact me. That has not happened. Service/Repair issues I have had in the past with La-Z-Boy recliners have always been taken care of. I guess those days are over with La-Z-Boy. I will not purchased another item from La-Z-Boy.

    On 04/20/2016 I bought a Buchanan High Leg Recliner Model # 029968 E 122676 FN 007 for $1,100 and paid an extra $100.00 cash for delivery a few days later. The chair was in the store so no order was required. When I bought the chair I knew it was not leather but was told the fabric covering was made to look like leather, it would last well and would be easy to keep clean. In a nutshell, I love the chair. In February of this year (2018), I noticed that the covering was breaking down, exposing fabric below.

    To my surprise, the leather-looking covering is really just a form of polyvinyl. When I reached out to the local service group, I was told the chair was out of warranty and the chipping and wearing was routine wear and tear. Further, the service group would repair it but it would cost about $475 based on the photos I had supplied. The warranty is just 12 months I was told and this was 22 months after the sale, I guess I expected more out of La-Z-Boy! I would have expected this response with a $500 chair from our local discount furniture store but not La-Z-Boy.

    Anyway, I have a decision to make...spend $1,000 to $1,300 to reupholster my chair in leather or just get a new chair from La-Z-Boy or another retailer in the area. When visiting La-Z-Boy’s showroom, no one has ever offered to give me a discount on a new leather chair even if I spend $1,600 to $2,000 on a new chair. My thoughts are that the La-Z-Boy chair frames are well built and are very good quality but you have to watch out for coverings especially those that look like leather. The covering on my chair is chipping in places that are never touched or rubbed. It’s not durable at all. Like I said...decisions...decisions.

    We purchased a LA-Z-Boy sofa (paid $900) two years ago from WG&R Furniture, Green Bay, WI. Our problem is the leather material that covers one of the upper back cushions is flaking or peeling off. We called the retailer, and they claim there is nothing they can do, and La-Z-Boy claims the warranty is only valid for one year. Given the number of complaints on social media there is obviously a problem with this leather product. We would like a repair solution or our money back.

    I've had a La-Z-Boy sofa (or 2) in my house for a long, long time. Purchased 4-5 of their sofas and recliners over the years. Had a new sectional sofa delivered and after checking it out we noticed that a fixed section was out of alignment in 2 different directions. It's also stained with something we can't clean off. The upholstery is bunched up in some areas or lose. A Velcro strip is misaligned so that it's visible. I didn't pay full price ($5K) for a sofa with defects that need repair. I called the store and asked them to come pick it up under their 3 day return policy.

    I was told by the salesman that all sectionals are "custom" furniture that can't be returned. What a scam! I can't believe that this is really how La-Z-Boy operates! The sofa is not custom in any way! 100% stock piece of furniture with stock upholstery. We picked the pieces we wanted and the salesman called the warehouse to assure me that the pieces and the color we wanted were in stock. He did this before he would take my deposit. Never at any time were we informed that there was no return on our purchase or that we were purchasing a "custom" sofa. The high price of La-Z-Boy Furniture does not ensure quality construction or service. I've requesting a full refund and will take my claim before a judge if I don't get it. Wish me luck!

    We spent over $10,000 on redoing our family room through the Whitby, Ontario La-Z-Boy store this year. The experience began well with Sheldon, the sales rep, providing great customer service at the store, but then started to go south when the on-site designer flat-out lied to me twice by telling me that the coffee table we wanted (made by Canadel) was not available in a smaller custom sizing. After making a trip to other furniture stores in Markham and then Oshawa in search of tables, I learned that the Canadel table was in fact available in custom sizing. With this info, I returned to the La-Z-Boy store to see Sheldon (in my presence, the designer continued to try and dissuade Sheldon from placing the quote request, but he ignored her this time.). No one likes being lied to, but this cost me time and hassle of shopping elsewhere and delayed our overall order delivery by 3-4 weeks as they waited for the custom order to arrive.

    In total, we waited 10 1/2 weeks from the time the order deposit was made until the delivery date at the end of March. (6-8 weeks was the original time frame given). Delivery day came and we were really excited to receive our new furniture. Unfortunately, the custom coffee table was damaged with two of the corners crushed (it appeared to have happened at the manufacturer as it was then stained over top). The two end tables were also defective and wobbled, indicating that the manufacturer had not taken time to ensure quality control of the table leveling. The set cost close to $2000 and was clearly not the quality I paid for.

    A couple of other issues at the time of the delivery — the floor lampshade was delivered shattered and the delivery guys walked on the brand new custom area rug in their wet shoes without concern for getting it dirty (We recently had delivered a new TV stand at Woodcraft in Whitby and was pleased to see they wore booties over their shoes... standard courtesy I thought, especially on a rainy day). The delivery person took photos of the damage and I expected a fast resolution. Instead, what I’ve experienced is runaround and no one taking accountability. I understand that mistakes happen, but what a company does to fix problems is what truly matters. It’s been over a month now since the tables were delivered and, despite several emails and phone calls with La-Z-Boy, this is still not resolved.

    Today, they sent a technician who answered my text that he was picking up the tables, but when he arrived he just looked at them and took pictures, leaving the tables behind. — They already had pictures and videos of them. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed with La-Z-Boy and its lack of customer service, disorganization and lack of accountability for the products it sells. The tables are clearly not the quality I was expecting and paid for, and I would like them to take them back, so that I can purchase a quality set elsewhere. What I also don’t understand is why La-Z-Boy doesn’t just return the tables to Canadel the manufacturer since that is the source of the defects? I own a highly successful business and have worked in customer service and product management for many years, and am shocked by this experience. I would not recommend La-Z-Boy Canada to anyone. Buyer beware!

    We purchased two recliners from Lafayette, Indiana La-Z-Boy Galleries store. Within 18 months or less, the arms and back (below headrest area) cracked and peeled really bad. We took out an extended warranty. A man came to our house and explained the so-called leather chairs that we purchased were NOT leather. I think he called it recycled leather or vinyl. After numerous calls to the Lafayette store and one or two to the home office in Michigan, we were told they wouldn't do anything about it. I even sent pictures of the horrible looking chairs.

    Based on our experience, we will NEVER buy another piece of furniture from La-Z-Boy. We have had their furniture since 1968 and always considered it well made. We used to buy from a local dealer in our town, if we had a problem, he turned it into something positive. He passed away about 10 years ago. We custom ordered a swivel recliner and when it was delivered, we like it so much we ordered a second one for my husband. When the rep came to look at the chairs, he told us he could only look at one chair and not both. When we bought these chairs, the sales girl told us it was leather and we believed her!!     Puchased a rocker/recliner and couch with ottoman, 2 end tables and lamps. The rocker/recliner which is very nice is about 2" too tall for my husband. His feet don't touch the floor. The salesperson never advised when he tried it out it would be too big. He tried to "live" with it but it hurts his back. Tried to reach a reconciliation with the salesperson to no avail. Will not pursue La-Z-Boy in the future. We were told we were 3 days past the warranty.

    We have a small child and the furniture that we had was not conducive so, we got new ones from La-Z-Boy. The sales reps were really nice and knowledgeable, and they took care of everything we needed. They also followed up after we purchased. However, the furniture had to be delivered twice. The first time the pieces came, the way that the sectional was being set up made the couch appear to be like the wrong pieces. I should have known enough to pull out a picture and try to direct the delivery team, but the way that furniture was put into the room was just a big mess. There were lots of confusion. They simply didn’t seem to know how to assemble the couch, but they were very nice.

    I returned the furniture and then the store had to work with the delivery team to confirm that it was the right information. They then sent us confirmation of that and then I had to reschedule the delivery. They did not make us pay for the second delivery. The store was very understanding and responsive to that problem because some of that was on me and they didn’t make me feel bad about myself. The second team that came out was awesome. They put everything right where it was supposed to go then made us come up and approve it. They were in and out so fast. The quality of the sectional is great and the cost is reasonable too. I would recommend La-Z-Boy.

I probably would not have bought furniture if they had not had the design service because I was comfortable with their decision and I’m not comfortable with making my own when it comes to design work.     If La-Z-Boy manufactured quality furniture their warranty for manufactured defect would be greater than a year, they would stand by their quality. Apparently they know it falls apart after a year. Careful read the small print. My couch has had stitching sticking up from the day of delivery and they cut off the extra stitching. When I noticed the stitching coming apart 10 months later they replace the recliner on the sectional and once again cutting off all the extra stitching.

    7 months after replacement the stitching is coming apart in the exact location as before and we are now past our 1-year manufacture warranty and it is not covered. Do not purchase extended warranty. It does not cover manufacture defect. Customer service has been very rude and they think this is funny. I purchased expensive furniture (8,000) expecting better quality but my cheap furniture has actually lasted longer. Apparently you don't always get what you pay for. I do not recommend La-Z-Boy and do not purchase the extended warranty. READ THE SMALL PRINT.

    I'm at a Shore area and between the grandkids and everybody else, the couch was worn, so I had to get some new furniture but I know nothing about living room furniture. I took my two daughters with me and they did all the selecting and negotiating and everything else. The delivery which La-Z-Boy scheduled took no time at all and everything went well. The team did a good job. But there was something that didn’t rub me the right way. The salesman told us that if we didn’t like any part of the sectional, we could refuse delivery. We could send it back and we wouldn’t be charged. When I talked to the manager of the store later on to set up the delivery, she told me that since it was custom made, they couldn’t do that. It could have been better if the salesman had told us that upfront but he didn’t. He made us believe that we could send back whatever we didn’t want. In the end, it didn’t turn out to be anything because we're fully satisfied and everything fit. Plus, the quality of the furniture was wonderful and was the best I have had.

    We've had La-Z-Boy products for a long time. Our oldest couches are about 13 years old and they have held up well. Although we have a one-piece that's in the process of getting fixed, it's 13 years old and things happen. You can't ask for much better than that. We moved into a new house and have a larger space so we needed larger furniture. We worked with La-Z-Boy's designer and he was really helpful. He came to the house and showed us where stuff would get laid out and helped us decide how to do the couch along the long wall. It was a great experience.

    I’ve had La-Z-Boy in the past, but what sold us this time was that we moved into a new home and they have the new in-home designer assistance. Stephanie was the designer that came to the house and she was very good. She came to her appointment on time and we reviewed what we were looking for. We had already been to the store and had an idea, and I wanted to make sure it was gonna be the right thing because our floor plan here is totally different from what we had before. Our furniture was too large as we had downsized into a condo, and she worked with us in the design process with the colors that we liked and the colors in the home.

    The delivery didn't go so well. Our captain’s chair was delivered sooner because it was available in the warehouse. But the leather sofa was damaged when it arrived and had to be sent back, and we were without anything to sit on for a week. La-Z-Boy's initial response was not so good, but the store manager Shelly seemed to get a better grip on it and she did what she could. There was no replacement in the warehouse and we had wait until more furniture was delivered into the warehouse. She explained to us that the furniture is inspected three times before it’s delivered to your house. And they were doing something internally with that because this leather was scraped off the back of the couch. We watched the guy take it off the truck and put it into our garage. And it was damaged when he took the cover off, so I’m not so sure how good the inspection process is. It shouldn’t have been sent out like that. I was very upset.

    We love our furniture and I would recommend La-Z-Boy. But the delivery experience for us at this time was a disaster. I don’t know if it’s the luck of the draw, but it always seems to happen on a holiday so I should not have had furniture delivered on a Saturday before a holiday. That was a mistake, but it shouldn’t be. The delivery driver that came here was nice, very efficient and professional. I didn’t have any problems with anything other than not getting the results I wanted, when I wanted them.

    Purchased a leather sofa and chair through a local furniture store. Within a year of use the leather started wearing off. We contacted the store since we had an "extended warranty" that covered complete replacement of the furniture should anything happen to it. A furniture tech was sent and he asked if he could use a marker to color in the area as a way to fix it. (Even though he said he would not do this to his own furniture). We were then offered 400.00 to void warranty and buy another chair... well you cannot buy a La-Z-Boy leather chair for $400. So we are stuck with awful looking furniture now marked "as is" because the warranty was very deceiving!! Won't buy again!! After contacting La-Z-Boy to see if they would do anything because our chair started getting worse we were told nothing could be done. We love La-Z-Boy but are disappointed they would not replace the furniture. La-Z-Boy. :(

    We bought two La-Z-Boy recliners in an oatmeal color fabric. They shed worse than a dog on my dark wood floors. The shedding comes from under the chair when the recliner mechanism engages. The shedding is where the seat rubs the arm down deep I am assuming. It isn't from parts seen. My complaints were dismissed with 'shedding isn't covered under warranty' and 'get a fabric shaver from Hobby Lobby and shave it.' I kept telling them you can't reach it with a shaver, but they don't care. I have talked to several people at the company and have never been so frustrated with a purchase in my life.

    I would strongly suggest to anyone considering a La-Z-Boy recliner that they not purchase any cloth chairs. Leather only. I am stuck with this purchase as they will not even consider helping me. However, I will NEVER give them another dime of my money. After we purchased ours, a good friend told me of her complaints with hers due to noise level of reclining mechanism. Yes, that is our experience, too, but it is the "shedding" that bothers me. I can't keep my floors clean.

    Our old La-Z-Boy had to go and it was time to renew. We had a leather seat and recliner and there had been a lifetime warranty with the parts at the time. They were very helpful when I replaced it once. And then we decided instead of a large couch, just the loveseat and recliner. And we went with the fabric material this time. The young lady that worked with us was very nice. Also, the delivery guys that were here were helpful. They did their job and they were professional. They respected the house because I asked them, we just got the floors done, if they would take off their shoes at the door, and they did.

    At some point we're gonna call La-Z-Boy because this is a stitched material and there are two long pieces where I assume that's where the stitching ended or it's loose already. It's like a long strand and it's out. It's in two spots, one on the chair and one on the loveseat. I know they come with a very nice warranty that we asked for so we'll call La-Z-Boy. They're a good company and we're glad. We spent more, but we bought something made in the USA, which was the goal.

    On May 23, 2017, I went to La-Z-Boy store in Orange, CT to purchase a good chair. I am disabled and have back problems, as well as a TBI. My sales person was Shaquanna **. I told her my problems and I picked out a chair. A VERY expensive chair, that cost what my disability check is for two months. I did this on her recommendation that this would be a chair I "could live in", as I am disabled, and spend most time inside. I paid 1,758.47 for this chair. I have paid less in my life for automobiles. I bought it because of the name La-Z-Boy.

    First, I was not sent the chair I sat in at the store. I was told it was a wall hugger, as I have limited space in my tiny elderly housing unit. It was not supposed to rock. The one in store did not. They would not do anything. I called and was hung up on twice by manager, and my sales person was rude and said I got what I bought. The chair from the start did not feel good. The seat was bad. The back padding was very very bad, and soft, not like chair I sat in store. The arms were bad. The frame shows through on the side, thru the UPGRADED upholstery. The part where you rest your legs felt like I had them on hardwood. I called for service. Since last year they have been here 3 or 4 times to replace back padding, seat, etc. Within a week it is bad again, and back they come. The service man notified La-Z-Boy. He said, that this is a problem.

    My service ticket number is **. There is NOT real foam inside these chairs. I have been making video, and taking pictures every time they come and take it apart. It is some kind of bag of fluff that goes in the back. It is horrible, and uncomfortable, and non-supportive. Service was last here two weeks ago and I was told that after his report went in, in two days, that I would receive a call, and I wanted to exchange chair for something that will work for me, and for my back. My doctor said the chair is exacerbating my back problems and not to use it anymore.

    I actually went to a discount furniture store and bought a BEST brand recliner, that cost 650 dollars that I could not afford, and am more comfortable in it. I was told if it was not comfortable that they would have actually let me exchange it! I am OK in this cheap, low grade branded chair, more than a SEVENTEEN PLUS HUNDRED DOLLAR La-Z-Boy chair, which claims to be THE BEST.

    La-Z-Boy, as far as I am concerned, STOLE almost EIGHTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS from a disabled man, whose Social Security is 900+ dollars a month, and abandoned me when I asked that they make good on my purchase. I have gotten NOWHERE with them. I just wanted a credit, so I could go and pick out something that I could use, that would work for me. PLEASE, don't buy this JUNK. La-Z-Boy was a product that could not be beat at one time. I guess these days are gone. Next, when I have the energy, I will file a complaint with the BBB also. I just wanted to be able to go get a new chair. It's horrible to be disabled, and in pain, and then to feel like you were totally taken advantage of. I will see If I can figure out how to post video and photos of all this, and will update you all.

    We purchased a recliner, a sofa and a loveseat from La-Z-Boy as the La-Z-Boy chair that we've had for 15 years still looks brand new. We also like its durability as well as the style and comfort. The sales rep Steven was great. He was very informative and he wasn’t pushy. My husband and I like to shop and look on our own, and he was in the shadow, ready to answer a question. We knew we could walk up to him and say, “Oh, we decided on this” or “What about this” or “What color can we get this in?” He was the best. Also, the delivery was smooth. The furniture got here three weeks after we purchased it, but that was our problem because we had our carpet cleaned and had some painting done.

    So far, we love it. I realize that La-Z-Boy costs more, but it is fine furniture. My husband had expectations and we knew specifically what we were looking for. We were looking for a sofa that does not recline because we have a living room that you step down into, and you step up into the dining room and you could see the back of our sofa from the dining room. We did not want to purchase a sofa that reclined because it looks like skirts in the back. We wanted a full-back sofa but my husband prefers elevated feet, and we were able to get that in something that we really liked. I’d tell a friend and consumers about La-Z-Boy, and I've already told my sister.

    In Sept. of 2017 we purchased a sofa and recliner from our La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery in Glendale, AZ. Our saleslady was Kristin **. She did an outstanding job getting our purchase set. The furniture was delivered on schedule and the men who delivered the furniture were wonderful. Unfortunately, within a couple of months the fabric started to pill. We had one of your maintenance men come and he was able to smooth some of the pilling. However, by February there was so much pilling on the furniture it was starting to look shabby. Mind you, the furniture was being used by two retired people and a small Chihuahua.

    On February 13, 2018, I went back to the La-Z-Boy store in Glendale. I had pictures of the pilling and was ready for a discussion as to what was going to be done. I was not angry. I just thought I would have to argue with the manager to get the situation rectified. I entered the store and asked Troy ** if I could speak to the manager. Troy was very nice and walked me to the back of the store and had the receptionist call for the manager.

    Robb ** came out from his office within in a few moments. We sat down and I started showing him the pictures of the problem. He was so understanding. He said that there was pilling in the pictures and asked me to pick out a different fabric. Troy helped me find a fabric I liked and within an hour we had ordered another sofa and a loveseat to match (to replace the recliner). Both of these men were more than professional and considerate. The new furniture was delivered 04/17/18 and again the delivery men were great. I have been sharing this story with my friends but thought I should share it with their company too.     After spending in excess of $10,000 for furnishings, mostly from a custom-built reclining sectional, we were excited for it to arrive before Christmas 2017. A sales rep attended the installation, and immediately said the alignment was not correct, and it would be made right. This is over 4 months ago. After 4 sets of photographs, 3 visits by a tech, the problem is WORSE than ever. Reclining portions slide back without engaging the "arm", the base sections get disconnected frequently, and we have had NO cooperation from the store. The repairman said, "it looks like the factory rushed during the holidays." It appears the individuals who actually have seen the unit, realize there is an issue, but the "specialists" only look at photos. Let the buyer beware, as we have had no assistance in dealing this for four months. Extremely dissatisfied.

    I bought all new living room furniture and spent over 4 thousand dollars and in the first week on the love seat I noticed on the arm the material was thin and La-Z-Boy did replace that, but the material I picked out I was told wears really well and my couch has ever since been pilling. I think it looks very sloppy, looks like old furniture and I was told to buy a pilling comb. I did and tried it and the material keeps pilling... I think I should have been told when I picked out the material that it will do this. I would have picked another material. I have been calling about this and even took my cushion in the store. I will call your customer service again tomorrow and again will be no help. I will no longer buy from La-Z-Boy. Furniture should not look old after 6 months... I bought this furniture 2 years ago and should have wrote this review before this but was hoping the pilling comb would help.

    We purchased a La-Z-Boy reclining sofa and love seat from Steinhafels. We bought because of the brand name and other reviews. The furniture did smell when it was delivered but we were told it would quickly dissipate. It has been two months, and the smell still makes me nauseous. We did but it says smells are not covered. I am so disappointed. The quality is not what it was. There is already a depression where our heads rest and the foot piece of my husband's recliner is having issues.     My initial experience with this location was good. The sales representative Derek was very helpful. Unfortunately I am finding out that their service department is quite the opposite; unhelpful and obstructive to resolving an issue I have with the couch I purchased. It is brand new and has a piece of the inner frame broken. Which goes unnoticed unless all the cushions are removed and one slides their hand along the deepest part of the inside back of the couch. I'm afraid over time this will lead to warping of the frame as well as cushions, which rely on this piece's support. It's quite clearly a manufacturing defect, a defective wooden strut/piece of the frame.

    All I would like is a La-Z-Boy technician to come and fix this defect; as I was promised by the sales department, would happen in such an instance. Frustratingly, the service department refuses to acknowledge that this is a manufacturing defect. In fact, before I had a chance to tell them my story, they left multiple long voicemails indicating such and that they would not cover this. Their customer service is severely lacking. They insist the broken piece is from my move. This just doesn't make sense because this portion of the couch was protected by the cushions and the rest of the frame.

    You can see from the pictures that the piece broken causes an inversion of the base of the frame but that the upholstery overlying this is pristine. This proves the break is not from any significant external force in which case one would expect to see some injury to the upholstery. When I noticed the defect I'd only used the couch for about a week in total. It was found when I pulled the back cushions off to lay down and noticed that there was a space on the left between the back and seat cushions.

    I should also note that I found another person's hair and dirt in the base of the couch, also seen in pictures. The couch was delivered upright in a bag and a chair box; not the original box it would have arrived in from the manufacturer; this happened despite clear instructions for it to arrive in its original box. It leaves me questioning whether they really sold me a new couch or a floor model without telling me. More so, it was supposed to arrive with 2 small cushions. They were not delivered. So far we have not even gotten to discussing them resolving this issue as I am most concerned about the structural integrity of this brand new couch.

    On top of that they sold me an extra insurance plan that the service department now says cannot be serviced due to my location. This is infuriating because I had asked the sales representative specifically if my move and location would affect or nullify this and he said that it would not. In fact, he told me that the company would send a technician anywhere in Canada to cover its warranties. The service department is now telling me that this is not the case. Their response to me when I tell them that I had specifically discussed this with the sales rep is that they do not discuss these things.

    This is a $2000 couch which is defective. It is so disappointing to me as I really like the couch but am regretting the purchase now as it will likely not stand up over the years. I thought La-Z-Boy was a good, reputable furniture store but I am finding that their warranties and guarantees are just words and not reliable. This purchase wasn't easy, as it was more money than I was comfortable to spend but I thought it would be an investment. I am finding it is more a headache and won't be an investment. It's too bad for their business and reputation because I won't be purchasing from them when I buy a home and I will tell all my friends and family not to buy from them, either.

    The first time I owned La-Z-Boy was 24 years ago. Then, we bought two other recliners in between that time and this time. They wore out a bit too quick, so we decided to buy new recliners. We came to La-Z-Boy and checked them out. We have seen ones that appear to be comfortable and we bought the new ones. Their sales rep was helpful and competent. She knew what she was doing. Everything was a good experience. The delivery team arrived in the house, brought the product in and set it up in 10 minutes. The quality is good and the only problem I have with them is that the bottom that sits against the rug moves back six inches after a while. When you get up and go down, the recliners start travelling across the carpet and moves the carpet.

    None of my other recliners or chairs ever did that because most of them have two points like a curved support. It’s sort of a base where the base has a straight piece of wood that goes from the back. Because it’s supported across the whole surface, there’s no pressure on the front and back of where the support sits so they stick. But I recommend La-Z-Boy. They're good and with quality furniture.

    We purchased a Chaise Reclina-Rocker and Recliner on 9-23-17. This chair was squeaking and had a repairman out on 1-26-18. He said these always squeak. Well I didn't pay $1353.48 for a chair that still squeaks after he left... Stopped at the Store today on N Dale Mabry in Tampa... and still nothing they could do. Send the same guy out... This was my 3rd Recliner I bought from this La-Z-Boy Store and I will never purchase another piece of furniture from them. I will tell all my friend do not ever purchase a La-Z-Boy piece of furniture because if something happens it's like, "Oh well we'll send the guy back out to try and fix again." When you spend this amount of money you expect a quality piece of furniture. I could have went to BIG LOTS and purchased the same quality. No good reviews for La-Z-Boy.

    I special ordered with a designer from the Fresno, CA local store. She came out to my home and helped me select my pieces. I was repeatedly assured that the quality would be superb, after all, it's "La-Z-Boy". Out of the 5 pieces delivered, 3 of parts ordered to repair them. I started dealing with the store manager the moment they were delivered. It took 3 weeks before ANYONE came to my home to see the conditions of the items, however it was a third party furniture warranty repair company. No one from the store I purchased it from has seen it, not even the store's designer that I worked with.

    It's been confirmed by that third party that 3 of the items can not be repaired. La-Z-Boy is determined to replace those items rather than return them. I don't want them replaced!! If they can't make it right the first time, why should I be forced to wait another 8 weeks for it to be made a second time!! Why should I trust anything will arrived any different the second time, nor do I want to wait and see. I won't these 3 items returned, not replaced!

    I was having some surgery and it required me to sleep in a recliner for six weeks, so I decided that if I’m gonna have to sleep in it I would have to need something really comfortable and something push button to get out of it. I have a La-Z-Boy recliner but because of a shoulder surgery, I’m unable to manipulate a regular manual recliner. So, I needed a power recliner and purchased a PowerLift chair from them.     I ordered a Chess/Checkers Bartop (Pub) on 17 Mar. I have not received a phone to follow up about the expected delivery date. I called today 19 Apr. to check on the status. A man who identified himself as the Sales Manager proceeded to tell me that it was the fault of the sales associate (Monica **) for not informing me that this was a special item. I told him it was a bar table w/ 4 chairs. He said everything was a special order that wasn't in stock. It would take 4-6 weeks. In a very condescending tone he made it seem as though I should have known this. He promptly rushed me off the phone saying he was with a customer and they were sitting right in front of him. The correct/polite thing to do, would've been to have someone else assist me. I then asked to speak to the Store Manager, and of course, he said he was also the Store Manager.     We purchased 2 sofas, love seat, and a recliner. If you sit on the sofas, you slide off. The cushions come loose every time you sit. There are cave ins in the 2 sofas because they have no filling. The arms are right on wood, and you can't sit by the end. The cording is all wrinkled. We have called corporate and they say we have to maintain our furniture by pushing the cushions in and fixing the cording every time we get up. Our next step is a lawyer. La-Z-Boy does not stand behind their products.

    We bought a Jax reclining couch in Renew “leather” Nov 2016. Later, we bought a similar recliner in the same covering. Within warranty, we noticed that the fabric was delaminating and La-Z-Boy replaced two bottom pieces. Now we’re out of warranty and the same is happening to other parts of the sofa. I’m told that not only won’t the sofa be repaired, it CAN’T be replaced since the cover or color is no longer made. Now I’m faced with living with a deteriorating piece of furniture. When I bought the two pieces, I was assured that it was as durable as leather - obviously this is not true. I feel that I was duped by this well known company.     The stuff we had was old. It was all hand-me-down stuff, so it was time to buy real adult furniture. The La-Z-Boy sales rep was a family friend on my wife's side. We've been talking to him for a while, and he just let us know that there was going to be a decent promotion, so that's why we went in and bought. We had a designer assigned to us who laid the room out, did all that stuff, and showed us different options for carpets. It was great. And then, scheduling the delivery was straightforward. They called like they said they would a day or two before and then an hour before. My wife was here for the actual delivery itself and she didn't have any issues with them. We've only been sitting on the furniture for three weeks now and so far, it's comfortable just like it was in the showroom and seems to be quality built.

    We've had La-Z-Boy in our home since the ‘70s and with the stuff that I owned looking tattered we got new furniture from them. Their rep was spectacular. She came out to the house, measured everything, built 3D rendering and helped me with the design of everything we wanted to get. She gave her own insights as to how materials might hold up and would cause us to actually change direction as far to one style to a different one based on her opinion. And I’m very pleased with the information. They offered the custom build so that we can have the framework, the material and style we want so that we don’t have to take what’s on the floor. And I like that.

    We bought our first La-Z-Boy furniture three years ago. Then we bought again since we moved to a new home. I saw the new furniture duo on the internet, and I really liked them and went in the store and saw the same girl who sold us the first living room set. She happened to be there at the day that we went and she remembered us. She knew what we wanted and what we were looking for. She was great the first time also great the second time. The furniture has been delivered to us and it was also wonderful. Both men that were here took off their shoes, were very engaging and friendly. Also, they handled everything with care.     I purchased a Chair and Loveseat Feb. 15, 2018. They were delivered April 3. The Loveseat was missing the wiring to make the left motor operate. The delivery person told me I could send it back or keep it and he would notify Service to fix the Loveseat. I have a copy of the delivery slip with the note on the bottom that the motor needed replaced so I agreed to keep it thinking it would be easier on LA-Z-BOY instead of shipping the Loveseat two more times. I did not receive a call from LA-Z-BOY so on Monday April 9 I called the service number and was told that I had to put in a request to have it fixed under warranty and the warranty started when it was delivered. I told them to come out and pick it up and after finishing the assembly they could return it.

    The Service Representative told me since I didn't call within 3 days of delivery LA-Z-BOY would not come back out for the chair and I had to wait on a service representative. The 1st time the service call was cancelled due to the service person being ill. The service person was here today, 2 weeks since delivery, and said he could not fix it because no one told him that it needed parts. He said he will order parts and they should be delivered to my house in a week to 10 days then I will have to call service and schedule again. So I am now looking at at least 2 more weeks without a working Loveseat. But my warranty started April 3. My last chair from LA-Z-BOY.

    I purchase my La-Z-Boy loveseat on 10/14/17 and in that timeframe it had to be repair twice and then again this week it broke. I requested for the unit to be replace and was denied by the store and corporate. They want to fix it one more time and if they can't figure what is wrong they will replace. I bought this furniture for about $2900 and it should be replace if it's not working correctly the first time. I am very dissatisfied and will never buy another La-Z-Boy furniture again if this is how a customer gets treated.

    Purchased a two-person love seat recliner in mid-December. Love seat is electronic. Has 2 remotes. One sides leg rest stopped working in mid-March! Had service man replace electric box that controls functions of recliner. The chair worked for a few minutes after the serviceman left. It required another visit only to learn they want to replace the motor on one side. Plus the material is pulling out on one of the seams of the cushion, not good.

    I purchased a La-Z-Boy recliner for $2200. I expected quality and no issues. The recliner has an attached remote with blue LED lights that bright up the room, no option to turn off the remote’s light unless you unplug the chair at night. It makes no sense and the store manager says it’s a great feature, so you can see at night. Most of their models have the same features without the LED lights, so that makes no sense. The blue light has a greater effect on phase shifting the circadian clock in body and on melatonin suppression, it essentially screws up your sleep.

    The option I was given was to return it and exchange it for a model without neck and back support, or just hide the remote. That’s not an option, why should anyone have to be hiding a remote. The chair is not cheap, so you would expect La-Z-Boy would listen to their customers, thousands have complained about the same issue online and they are selling these chairs with the same issue and without warning customers.

    Another issue, the rocker has a cling sound (metal sound) when you use it, my neighbors downstairs can hear the sound and it sounds louder when you’re sitting on the chair since the sound travels through the back of the recliner. I am very disappointed, I feel La-Z-Boy should offer me a replacement once a similar model arrives with a different remote or they should customize the chair with a different remote, I called about the issue on time to return it, so I am not doing this review to get rid of the chair after my return date, but I feel I shouldn’t have to return it. I am sharing my experience on every site possible, since the manager at the Northridge, CA store believes a refund or exchange is the best options, everyone should be warned. On a positive side, the chair is gorgeous and strong.

    My old chair and new chair are tall-man recliners, and both of them are La-Z-Boy. When my old one broke, I was upset. I had to have a recliner because I’m spending most of my time in it. La-Z-Boy is close to home and I had a foot operation so I can hardly walk. I know I can just walk right in there and get to the point. The sales rep did well. I couldn’t believe the price difference between a tall-man and a regular recliner, but I’m tall so I had to go with the tall-man. Plus the chair I got is super-wide. A 400-pound person would fit in this thing. The sales rep worked with me, so that’s why I wound up purchasing it.

    The delivery was great. The guys were here 8:00 in the morning, which was sweet since I’m an early bird anyway. They bought the chair in here and they took my old one and put it on my driveway. I appreciated them doing that because I couldn’t carry it by myself because I live by myself. However, I like my old La-Z-Boy chair better than my new one. I had to buy another one because the particle board broke. It’s cheaply-made that way, and I thought La-Z-Boy was better-made than that. Overall I'd tell others to check the quality to see where it’s made at. I don’t think La-Z-Boy is as good as it was in the old days. It's gotten cheaper, quality-wise. But it’s still a good recliner.

    Our old furniture was getting worn out. The La-Z-Boy manager was very good. He was very helpful and not high-pressure. We just told him and he didn't ask questions. He wrote stuff down and did a little sketch of what he thought would look good in our room. We sampled all of the furniture and it was of very good quality. Our experience was very positive. I like all the inventory there so I could really sample the different things. Also, I liked the person who came to our home to give us the final recommendations and took measurements.     My father is moving in with me and I purchased a recliner from La-Z-Boy. My salesperson was outstanding and she was very helpful. I picked out what I wanted and it was on sale from 25% to 30% off and La-Z-Boy discounted it further. It's the most comfortable thing I've ever sat in. I looked at so many recliners too and La-Z-Boy was far better. There's no comparison on the comfort between this model that I got and the other brands. The La-Z-Boy quality is very good, but the finish on the leather could have been better. But when you're looking at a small piece, it's hard to tell. Also I get emails from them. It's like, "Well, do people purchase more than one La-Z-Boy?" When you purchase your La-Z-Boy, chances are that you don't have three La-Z-Boys in your house but I could be wrong.     We built a new home and purchased two La-Z-Boy couches. We went to the La-Z-Boy that was in Raleigh and that was not a good time. Then we went over to the one on Glenwood Avenue and that was much better and that was where we bought. The same furniture was in both stores but a different salesperson. The sales rep in Glenwood was great. We walked around and walked around and the guy kept asking us if we wanted any assistance. We told him we'd find him when we needed him. He was very willing to talk to us and help us get some patches so that my wife can match colors. We got the couches on sale and it was a good deal. Without the sale, it's too darn expensive. We scheduled the delivery about four times. The house was being delayed. But the furniture was delivered on time when they said they were going to do it when we finally got into the house. The quality of the furniture so far is good.

    We've had La-Z-Boy furniture for 25 years. Their quality and service are what kept us with them. Our furniture was worn out and we bought this swivel glider rocker recently. Their reps were friendly and knowledgeable about their products. The delivery people called, set up an appointment, and showed up on time. However, this ottoman made noise on it when it's in glider mode. This is the first time I've had a problem with a La-Z-Boy chair. They sent their technician out to take a look at it and found that it had been built wrong. The springs underneath weren’t in the right place. They have ordered us a new chair and I talked to a La-Z-Boy salesman this morning to replace the order for a replacement chair.

    If the new one comes and there's no problem, then I’m happy. But if they repeat the same problem, I’m going to be very unhappy with La-Z-Boy and I won’t buy another one. But so far, I’ve been satisfied with them. I have other different manufactured furniture and La-Z-Boy has been top-notch quality also. I’d recommend them to a friend because of the service and quality that I’ve gotten.

    Have a La-Z-Boy recliner I purchased near the end of 2015. Noticed I had a loose piece of wood in the back of the chair and right side of back was loose above the arm. Stopped by La-Z-Boy store to find out if there was a place I could drop chair off for repair. Was given customer care phone #, told chair had lifetime warranty. Call for repair and was told I had to pay $109 for labor and I left ticket open till I decide to have them come. 3 weeks later the right side bottom of chair dropped, making chair unusable. Call for repair and scheduled. What showed up was a man to evaluate chair and order parts. 15 minutes was spent, was called following week with a 3 hr. estimate at $109 per. Repaired myself in 1.5 hr. w/ $8 parts. Workmanship in general is poor, my repairs will last much longer than remainder of chair. Warranty is a forest/scam.

    We've had La-Z-Boy furniture in our home for 15 years and recently, we purchased a new reclining sofa. The dealing I had with the sales rep at La-Z-Boy was fantastic. She was extremely knowledgeable about the type of fabric and what kind of spray stuff we can get on it because we do have dogs, and how we can get the protections from it. She told us the prices right off hand and it was very easy. The delivery team did really well and the experience was nice. They brought the furniture in and asked me where I wanted it.

    I told them and then they unwrapped it and set it up. They made sure that all the reclining mechanisms worked by having me sit down in it. Then I signed the pieces of paper and they were good to go. The quality of the furniture was really nice and the cost was reasonable too because they last so long and come with protection plans. I'm pleasantly surprised that everything went so smoothly. We love our La-Z-Boy. My husband is 6’3” and it is the only furniture place where we can get furniture that is tall enough for him.

    The recliners I bought from other companies didn’t last that long, so I thought of trying La-Z-Boy furniture. My son is about 6’7" and about 280 pounds so he's a big guy, so I asked their reps if there was a good standard weight on the chairs and they said that it would be 250 pounds for most average recliners. Then I asked them if they could make them for bigger and taller people, and they said could. They showed me what I needed to do and what I should get and what would work best for my household.

    The people there were very accommodating and very nice. I even asked the rep if they work on commission because she was such a sweetheart. But, she said that they just work there because they care. Then the delivery team was in and out really fast and it was definitely a good service. I have received the three recliners and the quality is good. Though, I’m still waiting on the table and the other stuff. But, they're doing a great job and we’ve told a few people that La-Z-Boy is where we’re going to go from now on.

    We were living in San Francisco before and we just moved to Southern California. Not all of our furniture was in good enough shape to come with us, so we needed some replacements. Plus, we were staying for several months with my cousin and his wife across the street from the house that we bought down here while we were refurbishing it. They had one of La-Z-Boy's power lift chairs with the heat and massage features. They've had theirs for several years and highly recommended it. Also, my wife is disabled with chronic pain and she definitely loved the heat and massage part, so we decided to get a couple of them for us.

    The sales reps at La-Z-Boy were extremely helpful. They gave us time to look and talk things over with ourselves, but they also were available to answer whatever questions we had. We had to schedule the delivery 'cause we picked up a specific covering that we wanted and they had to customize them. The delivery went fine and we got our chairs two months ago. The guys carried them in and plug them in for us. It took them longer to get around to delivering it than they initially said, but there were some delays in the manufacturing's end. But once they've scheduled the delivery, they were on time. The chairs are of very high quality and although its cost was pretty high, you will get what you paid for. I'd recommend them.

    We’ve been in our home for 47 years and we’ve bought products from places that weren’t worth it. My wife’s a shopper and likes to change things all around. She goes all over the place and La-Z-Boy happened to have the stuff she wanted as far as the color and the look. And the quality of the products simply backed our point of purchase because we had a La-Z-Boy chair in the house originally.

    I had shoulder surgery a year ago, so I had a lift chair from a friend in the house and I wanted to stick with the lift chair because it’s much easier. I also have a bad back also so I went with her for the final purchase to purchase a lift chair that I wanted and just to sit in the stuff that she selected. I was there with the rep who was the manager of the store and she was awesome. She was very knowledgeable, easy to work with, explained things very precisely and was very professional. After I tried a half a dozen of them, she knew exactly what I needed and didn’t oversell the product.

    We had an option for delivery but my son worked for a furniture delivery company prior and we have a big enclosed trailer so because of his knowledge about moving and picking up, he did that. But I hope La-Z-Boy would be able to make a change down the road on the consumer side when they ship things. They should cover or encase things to protect the product before it gets to the consumer. When we got the chair home, there were areas on the chair and on the couch that looked like it had been rubbing on the side to something. It didn’t damage it and we bought the full package where if anything goes wrong, they will fix it. But as a customer, when you get something and when you look at it, you would say that it would have been easier to encapsulate it so that if it rubs against the side of the semi or against another product, it would not show.

    Cost and quality-wise, it’s very fair because we bought other products that were less expensive and they didn’t last. On the consumer end of it, maybe it’s because I’m 70 years-old and I’ve already made my millions, I care, but yet, whatever I pay for, I’d like to have that compensate me in quality. That means a lot to me. I don’t mind what I spend but it better be worth the money I’m spending. I’ve been in business all my life and I look at stuff like that. I’m a fussy guy and I think they did good so I have no complaints other than wrapping it up. They didn’t wreck anything but it was easy to do. It costs money and it takes time and maybe that’s where they can’t do it and it’s not cool. It should be perfect if you paid a good price for it. But I would tell friends to buy it. I would tell them to look at it and compare because that was what we did.

    I recently orders 2 expensive chairs for my home. When they arrived, I was shocked at the quality, or lack thereof. There were so many flaws, including baggy upholstery, loose arms, gaps between parts - an accumulation of problems that no amount of repair would suffice. This is NOT the La-Z-Boy of the past; this furniture is cheap and subpar with a hefty price tag. I was embarrassed for visitors to see them in my home. I requested a return and refund immediately, but was shifted off to a technician and then an offer of repairs, even a seat replacement. The La-Z-Boy headquarters claims to have no control over the stores and the store claims to have no knowledge of service records. Just reaching customer service takes at least 25 minutes. Overall a horrible experience and a very inferior product.

    We were looking into purchasing the Kennedy sectional with iClean fabric. We contacted our nearest store which was over an hour away to see if they had the sectional in store before we made the trip so that we may try it out prior to purchase. When we arrived in the store we were completely ignored. We waited about 20-25 minutes. Another couple, who were ** walked in 15 minutes after us and were helped as soon as they walked in the door. Frustrated, disgusted and upset we walked away without purchasing anything after the long drive with three children, one of which happened to be a one year old.

    One year ago we purchased a Recliner couch and love seat from an exclusive La-Z-Boy store. The previous one we owned was 13 years old, still in wonderful condition, and gave it to our Son who loves it. Big Mistake! The new one we purchased is so inferior to our old one. It’s already showing more wear than our 13 year old one. We are empty nesters so the only use our furniture gets is from 2 adults. The fabric is of less quality, the framework is not as strong as the old one. The main reason we went back to La-Z-Boy was because of the quality we receive from our old one. Very disappointed!

    I purchased an expensive leather love seat and couch 2 years ago and the couch seat cushions have ripped away from the cloth at the back of the couch. This is just normal wear. Even the rarely used cushion has ripped. I contacted La-Z-Boy and they said I didn't pay to extend the warranty past a year so I'm out of luck. Since when do you spend thousands of dollars on furniture and it is destroyed after 2 years? Completely unacceptable. Why should I have to pay them to stand by their quality when it's not accidental damage? It's poor quality workmanship. I will never purchase from them again.

    I just relocated back to North Carolina. I left my sofa behind in Illinois and I needed a new sofa. My partner had a furniture store in Iowa for several decades and they used to carry La-Z-Boy furniture. We walked in at La-Z-Boy and we were there for about 20 minutes. But prior to that, the sales rep came over right away, showed us some things, and we bought it that same day. It was pretty effortless. And then we scheduled delivery.

    The guys that delivered the furniture were great. They were very patient and the delivery was straightforward. They got the sofa in, set it up, and then they picked their trash with them, which I liked. I love the quality of the sofa and that's why we went with it. I'm very satisfied with my sofa. It's definitely a little bit pricey but it's worth the money. And we got a really good deal.

    I've had La-Z-Boy products since about 2013. We moved from Alexandria to Indianapolis and our old couches didn’t fit very well. We really enjoyed our first purchase from them and decided to go with another La-Z-Boy product. I had a great experience with the sales reps. They came up with design ideas. They would draw different choices that were helpful to us and recommended some other things. They found a bunch of few other things that really went well with what we had and what we needed so it worked out well. We ended up purchasing end tables, a kitchen table and chair when we had only intended to purchase the couch at that moment.

    The delivery team came and set up my purchases. They even helped me move some other things out of the way. We are having an issue with one of the recliner releases but they’ve scheduled the repair person to come already and it’s scheduled for the end of the month. But in the aggregate, we’re very happy with the quality of the other chairs that we had bought them.

    This is the second set of furniture we have had from La-Z-Boy and like the first set which was returned after a few years due to poor quality we have the same issue with the second set. Staples are coming out from the footrest of loveseat and couch that scratch, scrap, and poke us and our children. The corners of inside of love seat and couch have lost cushion and wood frame is protruding out of the sides so if you lay on it you can feel the wood poking into your head or shoulder area. No one sits on the inside corner of the armrest so there is no reason for this to happen except for poor quality. Yes, we have the five year warranty but I am not paying for the labor cost for someone to repair furniture that is only 2 1/2 years old.

    My wife tried to do something nice for me & bought me what she thought was a good quality recliner. My old one collapsed on me a couple of weeks ago, but that's another story! I had no idea what she wanted to use my pickup for yesterday. My wife is handicapped & can't load and secure a large piece of furniture by herself. Apparently the guy at the La-Z-Boy distribution center wouldn't help her secure the new recliner in any way. He had very broken English and she couldn't understand most of what he said. He put it in the bed of the truck & told her 'it would be okay' when she asked him for help & pointed out that she basically only has the use of 1 of her arms. The new recliner is quite a bit lighter weight than my old one. The wind catches it & it blows up & out of the truck bed on the way home. It smashes on the road & now they just blew her off and said it's not their problem once she picked it up!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

    We’ve gotten La-Z-Boy before and we replaced the worn out chairs that we had. Purchasing the recliners was easy but getting their reps to come out and try and fix them isn’t. The quality of the chairs is good except for the screws. The screws are falling out of the bottom of the chairs and one of them is basically broken. We called them four times and they never came out to fix it. We've had the chairs for a year and it’s happened in the first five months that we had it. So far, their reps were great, took the messages, told us that someone would be contacting us to come out, but no one did.

    Over the years, we've had a couch and a couple of side chairs from La-Z-Boy. Then when my 98-year-old mother needed a new recliner, we went to the outlet and bought one for her and then my brother also bought one. The recliner lifts the person up and pushes the person forward so my mother can get up easier when she has trouble getting up, though she feels unstable using it.

    When we went to the Oak Brook store and saw the chairs, they had extra ones and we thought about it and then left the store. Their rep wasn’t pushy at all. And then a couple of days later, we went back to that Oak Brook store to figure we’re going to buy the chairs. There was a sign on these two chairs by the door saying, “Closeout,” implying those were the last two and they were the floor models. We took one from the floor and then the rep was able to find the other one from another store in the area. So she was very helpful.

    The delivery people were good and although the chairs were easy to move because of the way the backs come off, the men were nice and they moved the chairs to where we asked them to move into a different room in the house. The quality of the chairs seemed fine and the price was lower than it would normally buying a similar chair. We’ve had good luck with La-Z-Boy and we keep going back. We’ve never had a problem and so I would recommend them.

    We've had our La-Z-Boy chair for 13 years. My husband and our grandchildren enjoyed it. However, it's leather had rubbed off, and it has begun to squeak and rattle. La-Z-Boy supposedly had a sale. And we decided that it was time to give my husband a new chair. We went in and we told the rep what we wanted. Then, we had it delivered since they wouldn't let us pick it up. The delivery guys came in, put the few pieces together, and left. However, I don't feel like this new one has the same quality as our old one. The old one has better fabric and is a better chair. I also think we paid too much for it despite them telling us it was on sale. But my husband is enjoying the new one. He sits on it every night on his own.

    La-Z-Boy had a good sale going on, which helped. Plus they gave me a military discount. The sales representatives was really nice, took her time, explained everything to us and went down through everything. My wife had a problem with the manual operation on the chair and the sales rep explained everything to us and said we might have a problem with it.

    After we got home, we talked about it. I called back and said, "You better make the love chair, the dual one. You better make that power." So that worked out really good. And then when the girl answered the phone, she went ahead and made the adjustments then emailed me a copy of the new thing. So everything went really smooth. Pat was the original sales rep who was on it, and she was extremely nice and knowledgeable. She directed and helped us. I purchased a reclining sofa, a free-standing recliner, and power reclining loveseat.

    Two guys did the delivery and they were really good. They took time, set the furniture up, checked everything out, and explained everything to us. They showed us how everything worked. They showed us how to dismantle the back of the furniture if we needed to be able to get it to the car, if we ever needed to move. The dual recliner, or loveseat was a little softer than what we were used to, but it's okay. Everything is fine. My friends also have had La-Z-Boy products and they've had good luck with 'em. If I or my grandkids need anything, they know where to go.
