We were looking for a reclining sofa and we purchased one at La-Z-Boy. We got a different rep five times, but overall it was a good experience. They delivered everything fairly quickly. The quality of the furniture seems to be good, though I'm hoping that the fabric on the couch that we purchased holds up. I'm seeing a lot of wrinkling in the front edges, even on the middle portion of the couch. I don't know if it's part of the stuffing that's doing that but it seems weird to me that it would be that loose this early on. But everything seems to be holding up just fine.

Purchased an Astor Power Rocker Recliner at Morris Furniture and it was delivered on 9/5/2017. It arrived with a dirty right arm that the Morris Furniture service tech said should be replaced along with a "pinched" power cord. I would like to say that Morris Furniture and their service department have been great. Unfortunately, they have had a very difficult time getting replacement parts. It has been 5 months since delivery and still no replacement parts. I am told by Morris Furniture that La-Z-Boy does not ship parts from China until they have a full container. REALLY? I have gone to the La-Z-Boy Customer Service website twice and have not received either an email or call. I can only imagine the value of your warranty. Really disappointed.

I bought this recliner from QVC. It is not very good. I have had it four years and the front where your legs rest the foam is all gone so your legs rest on the wood. It is very seldom used. It's a piece of junk. I will be telling all my friends not to buy any La-Z-Boy products. They are not worth the money. Thanks.

We needed to replace our old furniture, and I went back to purchase from La-Z-Boy for the quality and comfort. The sales rep was very friendly. She helped us pick out the fabric. She came out and measured, and looked at our room. She gave us other ideas and things that could go in the house to go with the reclining sectional. Everything was good. The delivery team came right when they were scheduled to come. They installed everything and showed my husband how to connect the pieces. They were friendly.
So far, we love our furniture. It’s comfortable, it looks good, and it meets what we were hoping for. We’re really happy with it. I would have loved to have gotten accent pillows and things like that, but accessory-wise, it was expensive. For me to add some pillows was almost $1000. Nevertheless, I'd recommend La-Z-Boy. I already recommended the sofa to the mom. She likes it. She has La-Z-Boy now but she'd like to get a new sofa so she’s looking at the one we've purchased.

We've had La-Z-Boy furniture in our home for 30 years. We added an all season room, and we decided to go to the La-Z-Boy store. They had a big sale and we've never had a La-Z-Boy store this close, so we went in and looked around and decided on the sofa and the two chairs. Everybody at the store was very helpful. And our rep was very good and a very sweet girl.
The only thing is it bothered me that we bought several thousand dollars worth of furniture and still had to pay for delivery. We just live a few miles from them, too. The delivery guys had problems getting through one of the doorways because it's narrow but they did a good job. We were also wanting sofas that were lower to the ground because we have short legs, and they only had a few that I could sit on that was comfortable where my legs didn't hang off the edge. It would've been nice to have a few more of those choices. But otherwise, I had a good experience and the quality of La-Z-Boy's product is the best.

My husband and I bought a new house and thought we would splurge on a wonderful sofa and love seat, so we went to La-Z-Boy. They are supposed to be the best, right? Wrong. We bought our couches cash upfront at $5,500 which I personally feel is expensive for a couch. The items we got were leather so we have to condition them. We did so once a month for the first year (which is way more than the minimum) and we were told it was impossible to overdo it. Well about 15 months after we bought the couches, the leather began to crack. I contacted the store and they told me we could pay to recover them, but other than that we are just up the creek without a paddle.
Now when we bought the couches, we were under the impression, the couches were covered for 10 years. The 10 year coverage is only for mechanical issues... So now, we've had the couches for TWO YEARS AND ONE MONTH and they are full of cracks in the leather. The couches are not very comfortable either. We can't sit for very long before our backs start hurting before we even get through a 2 hour movie. We will NEVER buy La-Z-Boy again.

My husband and I were very disappointed with the design services. They did a very poor job of furniture placement in our home. We bought rug pads per their recommendation but the pads did not properly fit the rugs. After numerous calls, one individual did come to our home to correct one issue with the rug pads but the other two items remain unresolved. I have given up on ever getting these issues resolved but I have resolved to never shop at La-Z-Boy again. That is one resolution I will have no problem keeping.

If you want a piece of furniture that’s going to last, go to La-Z-Boy. I purchased a recliner which is our third La-Z-Boy. We had the last chair for at least seven years, and there was nothing wrong with it. However, we did a remodel of our living room so the color we had didn’t go with it anymore. I didn’t want to not have a La-Z-Boy. We like to have the recliner. It’s comfortable but it looks nice.
I'd want it to be cheaper, but otherwise, the experience was perfectly fine. The delivery was kind of expensive and it was just a chair, so we picked it up ourselves. We love the quality and we’re really happy with the purchase. It’s a bigger chair than what we’ve had before. I just wish there were different specials that would run more frequently, or there was a free delivery. When we were to purchase other furniture from a different store, they offered different things like free delivery. But we’ve had La-Z-Boy for the last 10 years, and it’s always been a good experience. If the service wasn’t good, I wouldn't go back. The manager helped me at the store that I was at. It was great about letting us take samples of the different fabrics.

The La-Z-Boy reps were helpful. They’ll help you find the right stuff, pick the different fabric, and help with the price point if you want. Both the sales rep and the manager were wonderful. We went about a month before we purchased and they helped us when we looked at different stuff. There was a discrepancy in the price and the manager was right on the ball with it.
The delivery team was probably one of the better I’ve seen in a long time because the day that they delivered, it was snowing out, and they were very careful with wiping their feet before they came in and closing the doors so that cold weather won’t come in. They were very professional as far as checking and making sure everything wasn’t broken. I am quite happy with the furniture. It isn't the most expensive one because we didn’t want to spend a lot of money, but it's the same frame and fabric as what we wanted. It’s a lovely furniture. I was really happy with La-Z-Boy.

Very Disappointed in La-Z-Boy; will not recommend to my friends and relatives. Bought what we understood was an all leather sofa and found out only the coverings touch by the body would be leather, and all other parts would be VINYL. After 2 years, the vinyl on the seat cushions is coming apart and shedding its covering. This expensive sofa is no better than one from a Discount Furniture outlet.

I ended up going into La-Z-Boy furniture and as I was going through the store, I found a sofa that was just what I wanted. I looked it over and I felt everything was sewn well and the fabric was fine. The sales rep was very nice and helpful. Whatever I wanted to purchase extra, that was all taken care of. The delivery, too, was very nice.

Purchased a La-Z-Boy recliner on 5/8/15 with a swivel base. One of the main reasons I purchased it was the “Lifetime Warranty”. I first had a problem with the recliner was in 8/16 and again in 11/16. The problem was with swivel base, which is the current problem as well. The problem in 8/16 & 11/16 was fixed under this warranty and now I’m told it was an “Exception” as they’re charging me labor $109.00 plus sales of $6.54 for a total of $115.54 which quite frankly is absurd!
Nowhere in the warranty info provided was I advised that I would be paying for “Labor” and this morning being advised that “Who would give labor free”, which I find not only “INSULTINGLY RUDE” but quite disheartening from a company that I have respected! That’s in question now. The problem is with the swivel base it’s made of wood with screws and eventually will break as it has again. It leans to one side. The service tech that came out even stated that it was defective and should have made with metal. It’s not very noticeable in the attached photo but once you sit you’ll notice.

This James Sectional was extremely comfortable in the store. However, the one we received feels nothing like the floor model, and each the 7 seats has a different level of firmness, but all too firm. Called same day as delivery with complaint, had Comfort Care out, waited 30 more days as tech suggested. Now he says there is no more that he can do. Called the store 5 times, and left message for manager; still no callback. Emailed corporate customer service twice; first reply said they could do nothing for us. Second email was not even replied to. Terrible customer service and follow-up for a repeat La-Z-Boy customer (we have bought 2 recliners previously and love them!). Very unhappy with a very expensive sectional, and very disappointed with La-Z-Boy.

I've had La-Z-Boy furniture for a lot of years and I'm very happy with them. We're satisfied with the quality so we keep on going back. My old La-Z-Boy lift chairs have worn out so I bought a new power lift recliner, which is my third one. Ida was the sales representative at the store who attended to me and she did a good job. She worked on the price and got it to where I was satisfied. She also knew what she was talking about. Then two young men delivered and did a great job. They called me to say they'd arrive in 10 minutes and they were exactly on time. One came in and took the old one out and then they brought the new one in and set it up. They were only here for 10 minutes and the whole experience was good.

I purchased this furniture due to being in a bad accident Dec. 22 2016. Prior to purchasing this furniture we had bought furniture from VCF in Columbus, OH. Leather eight way hand tied. I did not want to sell but had to get something my husband could get in and out of. I purchased the Rowan recliner and sofa in leather. Spent around 3,700.00 on this furniture. I have had 2 service calls on this furniture and I did create a case in reference to the quality of this furniture. Also the motor for the footrest on the right side went out. All I want to do is exchange this horrible furniture for something of better quality, or should I get legal counsel to get this taken care of. I do not recommend this Rowan line to anyone. I am welcome to any suggestions on how to get this returned back to La-Z-Boy.

We've had La-Z-Boy furniture in our home for 20 years now. We had a 5,000 sq. ft. home and we moved to a 2,000 sq. ft. condo so we had to downsize the furniture. We purchased a reclining sofa and some tables from La-Z-Boy and we were treated very well by their reps. I had it delivered and their delivery team was very good. The quality of their furniture is one of the best because something broke in the mechanism of the first piece that we got and we've had it for a while. We called La-Z-Boy, then their reps came out and took care of it, no questions asked. I'd recommend them. We like their service and their products. You can't always buy what you want there, but we do. I know that their items are very durable.

I purchased a sofa 10 weeks ago. I started reaching out to Dressler store 6 weeks after purchase to find out when delivery would be. Each time I called I was told they would send an email and get back to me. They would not call back. After 8 weeks I called back and was told they would email and get back to me. Again I had to call back and was told the hold up was because of fabric on free pillow. I personally need my sofa not pillow. It was told I would be contacted February 2 with update. Again, I had to reach out to them. I was told the fabric on sofa is the problem now and they would contact me in March. I would have expected better communication from the store.

When we bought two power reclining sofa, the sales agent at La-Z-Boy was awesome. She knew what she was talking about and what I wanted. Plus, I tried to work a little bit about the price and I was able to go to the manager who was very good. Also, La-Z-Boy has good products. We've had La-Z-Boy couches and recliners for 25 years at home and we're happy about them. The quality is good as well as the warranty. I always buy the extended warranty to be sure, especially on electric chairs. And, I already have recommended La-Z-Boy to friends and family. I told them that it's a great place to buy and also told them who to see. Our whole family buys at La-Z-Boy and my sister-in-law bought a chair there.

My old stuff was not comfortable and I didn't like it. I recently purchased a reclining sofa and a recliner from La-Z-Boy. I needed to be really sure in my furniture design and the color, comfort, and look were really important. The sales representatives at La-Z-Boy were phenomenal, and they did the home visit. And I brought pictures. It was a really good collaboration. I believe that you get what you pay for. So I'm hoping that La-Z-Boy brand will provide the value. Certainly, one can get a lot cheaper furniture. But if it does what we needed to do and it's comfortable and it looks great, then it's worth the cost. I would tell my friends to check La-Z-Boy out because my impression was you had to go with more older looking style and things that were not as contemporary as my style. But I found options that hopefully are comfortable as well as look good.

We had a leather recliner for a number of years and it was showing some signs of wear, so we gave it to my grandson for his man-cave and he loves it. So, my husband and I got a power recliner and a recliner from La-Z-Boy. We spoke to two different sales people and they were both very, very good. They walked us through the different options and set us up in the store and said, "Just take as much time as you want. Just go and sit in all the chairs." There were close to a hundred of seating but we narrowed it down for the ones we wanted and checked them out. We scheduled for a delivery and their delivery team was amazingly nice. It couldn’t have been better. They were perfect gentlemen. They were on time, let us know they were coming and were very accommodating.
I have not much time though to use my recliner. The recliner we had before was a leather and it was a little plusher, and I didn’t want a leather recliner, so the one I have now is not quite as comfortable as the one I had before but I'm guessing that is because of the style I picked. But so far, it has met my standards. I would surely recommend La-Z-Boy. They had so many things in stock and all different options. You could get whatever you wanted whether it's a power, a manual, a rocker, a glider or one that is stationary. And we had delivery within a couple days.

Somebody gave us a La-Z-Boy recliner that we liked and between the previous owner and us, it lasted a very long time. That was what started us going there. And we did go to different furniture places but for me, they had the biggest and the most comfortable selection. I bought two chairs last year, five months apart. I had two different sales reps and both were great, especially the saleslady I had. I was most impressed with her enthusiasm and that she gave me information. We walked in and the chair was actually $200 cheaper than the previous chair we bought. But I got deals on both of them so it was great and the delivery team, as well. They showed me how to tighten things and they actually moved my other chair out of the way, so that was even better.
It was a great price for good quality furniture. It's the best furniture I have in my house and it was just a great experience all the way around. I would have bought a couch from them but they didn't really have the style I liked. So I ended up buying a couch from somewhere else which I don't think is going to last too long. So next time, I plan on buying from La-Z-Boy but hopefully, they would have a different style.

I purchased a recliner in late 2014 for 799 dollars along with the “fabric protection warranty”. In early 2016 I noticed that the leather was peeling off the chair. I contacted Ultra Shield and they said it was a manufacturers defect and they would not cover it. I contacted the La-Z-Boy store I purchased it from on Colonial Drive in Orlando, and they sent out a repairman to fix it. Unfortunately the repair did not last and other portions of the chair have started to peel. Last week I went to the Colonial store and spoke to Angie. She arranged a 350 credit.
This week I returned to the Colonial store to purchase a chair. Turns out to get an equivalent chair I need to purchase the same useless protection plan for 100 dollars. So even with the store credit I would have to come up with 700 for a new chair. This is an indictment to the quality of your furniture. I should not have to replace a three year old chair. Ultra Shield is deceptive and does not honor most claims. Why you partner with them is an enigma to me. I have been a La-Z-Boy customer my entire life, but no more. I will tell everyone I know to avoid La-Z-Boy at all costs.

Had a La-Z-Boy recliner for 10+ years and loved it. Recently ordered a custom recliner and am deeply disappointed. First had a hard time getting the footrest up. Rectified that by adjusting the tension. However the seat is uneven, sags already when sitting, and squeaks on the left side. I have no hopes of this recliner lasting 10 years as my previous recliner did. So very disappointed; was not the most expensive recliner but it was a lot of money to me.

0-stars for communicating, 0-stars for deliveries on time, 0-for false promises!! We were told first our purchase would be in 6-8 weeks, then told that was not correct, it is normally 8-10 weeks. Then told it was in Lakeland FL and would be delivered. Shipment arrived and our rug did not get on the truck. We are now told it will be 2 weeks before another truck comes to Naples with our rug. All communication has been initiated by us.

My grandson just got married and he needed a couch. I gave him my living room couch, which is a La-Z-Boy, so I ordered a new one. La-Z-Boy's staff was really wonderful and very helpful in every way. My furniture is being made and they're going to call me when it's ready. I wanted leather this time, and they had the recliner in leather. I ordered it and I love it. It is very durable.

The saleslady at La-Z-Boy guided us in what we wanted to do and helped us get the exact thing that we wanted, like the colors, right material, right fabric. She was a little new and when she had questions, she went and got the manager and took care of it that way. Also, the delivery team was fine. We had to move one couch out of the way and they did that. I’m quite happy with my La-Z-Boy right now.

I purchased a La-Z-Boy 4 way power recliner. Shortly after receiving it I noticed that the headrest was loose on one side from the internal power mechanism. I was told that I would need to return the chair to the store, because I picked it up, so they could send it off to be fixed. 2 weeks later I picked the chair up again extremely dirt with the bottom front corner leather badly scarred, the headrest reattached crooked and the leather pulling loose in the back. Now I'm told they will have to order new parts (3 to 5 weeks) and then I will have to bring the chair back again to be sent off for repair.It's sad that you pay so much for a chair and then have to fight so hard to get it fixed right.

I purchased a chair many years ago from La-Z-Boy. When I wanted to change my living room recently, I went to a La-Z-Boy outfit and purchased a recliner glider, a sofa, and some tables. I had a very good interaction with the sales rep named Agnes, who had a lot of patience because I was looking and looking until I finally found something. She was also very knowledgeable about things and she did an excellent job. The delivery experience was great as well. The delivery team moved the other stuff out, moved everything in, and put them where I wanted. Overall, nobody wants to pay the amount of money for the cost of the La-Z-Boy furniture but I have believed in La-Z-Boy as far as the quality is concerned and they certainly were very good so far as handling things when I was down there. So, I'm happy.

We've been moving around the country for 40 years and with the last move, we decided to change furniture because we're going smaller and smaller in houses. So, we sold everything and we bought chairs, a sofa, and some pillows from La-Z-Boy. We did business with Kathleen and she was great. We purchased right before Christmas because we moved in a new house and La-Z-Boy does not have anybody to deliver. And Kathleen and her husband rented a van and delivered it to me. That was a great experience. The furniture looks good. We'll just have to wait and see how the years are going to go by but it seems to be good quality. Others should try it too.

Do NOT buy bonded leather. I was talked into purchasing bonded leather instead of real leather because I was told it would last longer. After 3 years it started peeling and looks terrible. Awful product.

I wanted to buy a American made and support small business so I purchased this sectional almost over 2 years ago and it was not cheap. Was very misled on quality of fabric, and was told no need to treat polyester, so I figured no need to buy a warranty. After a year the fabric started bubbling, peeling and flaking off. I attempted many times to reach the salesperson and manager at Durocher's in Monroe MI for over one year now, haven't gotten anywhere, not to mention I as well called customer service with La-Z-Boy and they were rude telling me that there was no need to transfer my call to a manager because it was over a year since I bought it. I am so embarrassed when I have company over and I tell them it's a La-Z-Boy product. The look of it makes me so disgusted. Better off to buy cheap from now on!

I'd been looking for a sofa set for quite awhile, and I found it at La-Z-Boy. I was a little bit surprised the first time I went in at the store. They've got some nice pieces and I was very very pleased with what I saw. The salesperson who initially sold me the sofa was great. She was absolutely wonderful, accommodating and quite honest. She made the experience very positive.
When it was delivered, the front cushion didn’t fit right. As I was looking for the serial number underneath the sofa, I also noticed that the desk skirt was ripped. When they first delivered it, I mentioned to the delivery person that the skirt didn’t fit quite right and I was told it would flap up when I sit on it. A week later I called to let the customer service folks know that there were problems. The rep was very courteous and she gave me the choice of sending them pictures or having a tech come out immediately. It made more sense to just send them some pictures so that they would know what the problem was before we had a tech come out.
They were going to send out some materials and have a technician come in and take care of it once the materials came. That was expected before Christmas, and just before the Christmas holiday, I got a telephone call from UPS asking me to verify my address. They had a very different address on the package so I corrected it, but I never received the package. I called customer care back and the rep that I spoke to apologized and was on top of it. A technician is going to come out here on Friday to take a look at the problem and get this taken care of. I feel very confident that they're going to address it. As soon as the pillows are puffed up, repaired or replaced, it's going to make a lovely set. I'm happy with the experience and I would shop with La-Z-Boy again.

We moved to a different house and the other furniture didn’t fit so we looked for some new furniture and bought a power reclining sectional from La-Z-Boy. We have been shopping for a couple of months and we knew what we wanted. We went in the store thinking, “We’ll get there early in the morning, that way we’ll be first.” But we went in and it was just one guy there and about four other people who must have had the same idea. It was very, very busy and the guy seemed pretty occupied. It wasn’t like he had to make up a sale, we knew what we wanted. But we didn’t know deep details like we could have upgraded the sitting part. I looked online and a different foam was an option but that was never presented to us or mentioned when we purchased the sectional.
Then, we received our furniture and it’s a leather and threads are coming out of one section. They sent a man out and he’s going to have a replacement sent out to it. Also, I just had a knee replacement so I'm always in a reclining position but when I sit in it, I recline and it leans to the right. The serviceman who came out didn’t seem to feel that way but we had other people sit in it and they all mentioned the same thing. That’s an ongoing issue and we’re expecting that somebody comes out again. When they come out and send the new piece because of the threads, they said they will look into it again.
The service has been really great and they’ve been good. But it used to be that La-Z-Boy was the king of reclining furniture and I think that has gone very much to the wayside now. They're not the only game in town and there are other options out there where it never used to be that aren’t as pricey and maybe has better quality.

I purchased one recliner from La-Z-Boy and it was perfect for the camper. We went in there specifically for that and the salesman said it is the one that they usually use for campers. It was very comfortable and it fit nicely. We were able to get it in because it comes apart and we had the swivel base added on. We really like it. It's been four years since we bought our last La-Z-Boy furniture. We went back to the same place because they were very helpful and very courteous. We actually bought two others for our house at different times. The quality was very, very good and we were happy with it. La-Z-Boy is definitely worthwhile getting and it's a very good place to go.

Our sofas recently turned 5 years old and are peeling. We looked at getting warranty work done to fix the problem but the warranty doesn’t cover peeling. They are so comfortable but when you sit on them, you get little pieces of leather in you. We are wondering if there is anything we can do, or if we toss the $3200 and get something else.

The sales rep that I dealt with was very nice and very helpful. She gave us a lot of time, and I'm very happy with our choice. The delivery guys were very patient and nice as well. They were also very careful. They took out the old couch and then they brought in the new one. They showed me how to open it, and we inspected it and it was in perfect condition. This is my second sleeper from La-Z-Boy, and I've always been very satisfied with their service and merchandise.

Not very impressed with your warranty service. I spent about 20 minutes on hold before one of your agents picked up. After going through everything, I was told the earliest date someone could be here was 4 weeks from today. Then, I had to give a credit card number so they could charge me (up front) the $109 hourly rate. So, you'll have my money for about a month before someone can even visit my home to, hopefully, fix the problem.

I used to swear by La-Z-Boy Furniture but not anymore. We received our 2 Leather Recliners Dec 5th ($3,400) and within 3 days the filling on the back and seat have gone down to almost zero. The poor Technician has been trying to get things fixed but it is impossible for him to get the parts in a timely manner from their manufacturer. I have called the Michigan office, but all you get there is the runaround and incompetence. It has now been almost 2 month and the chairs still have not been fixed. I guess I will need to look into legal action to get anything done.

La-Z-Boy's sales representatives were all great. I went to the store one day just to look around and they were very helpful. I picked out what I wanted and we covered colors and options. I needed to come home and discuss it with family and then I went back another day to place the order and again, they were very helpful. They’re a really good group over there. I purchased a recliner arm and an arm cap, and everything went really well.

My husband and I moved and the furniture we had didn't work here so were sold it and purchased new ones from La-Z-Boy. The sales person that we dealt with was very helpful. She gave us pointers when we were looking at a sectional. She told us to tape it off in our room and after we did that, the sectional wasn’t going to work in our size room. So, I’m glad she gave us that suggestion. We never thought about that so we were very impressed with her. The delivery team was excellent too. When I opened the door, they greeted me with a smile. And it impressed me the most when they have La-Z-Boy on their coat. I also love that the delivery truck said, “La-Z-Boy” so I knew when they pulled up.
We also purchased from another store and sometimes these places contract out. And when we got our other delivery, it was just a white delivery truck. There was no name or anything representing who we bought through. There was also a huge difference with the sales people. The sales team at La-Z-Boy was very pleasant and made you feel welcome. And they felt like they wanted to really help you find the right furniture for you, and your house. I’m impressed with La-Z-Boy, and it just was an excellent experience overall. The furniture has the best quality my husband and I have ever purchased so we’re very proud of it. It was very worth the money and we’re very pleased.

Purchased sectional 2 yrs ago. Just retired, needed a sofabed for occasional baby grands, or company who visit once in awhile. Have small apartment so sofabed was a solution to my new living space. Was told this was the BEST option for me, as I wanted good quality w/o problems. Noticed after taking out sofabed a few times it would get stuck. Couldn't use it. Hardley used it so I called Cust Svc. In Oct, 2017. They would send a guy to make analysis in a time allotted. He showed up after 10 PM! He said the whole bed frame needed to be replaced! WTH! Brand new sofabed! So after parts were ordered, which took months, I was delivered a HUGE BOX last week blocking my whole living room! I called again and they said the service guy can't come until FEB 12TH!!! That's UNACCEPTABLE!
I have my sister coming this week from Hawaii, NO SOFABED! I also have to wonder, if this expensive sectional sofabed was defective from the get go, and sold to me as such! I'm in a dilemma, and I certainly will NEVER purchase from LA-Z-BOY again. So to put in proper perspective from my service call to now, it's almost 4 months, trying to get this SOFABED fixed, that should have not even been bent or broken in the first place, as again, I repeat, almost NEVER gets used! This sectional came to me DEFECTIVE!!! I look forward to your response on this matter!!!

I purchased the $1330, paid in full 12/28/2017, sofa and it was delivered three weeks ago. It has a strong smell, and it does not diminish. I do open the slider door windows when I am gone, and during the night when I sleep. I even have a fan at the doors blowing on the sofa, but the odor is not going away, not at all. I custom ordered this sofa to get a different fabric from the one in the store. So this sofa is hot off the presses. What will make the odor go away? Or will it? I do not have an order number, and don't seem to have a receipt. But the amount was taken off my credit card.

Very dissatisfied with the quality of materials in a recently purchased recliner for my 95 year old mother. She lives alone and is the only one using this chair. There is a small hole or peeling on back corner of recliner. We purchased a La-Z-Boy because she had another one which lasted many years. They said she probably tore it from hitting the wall when reclining. If this is the case it's bad craftsmanship. She's only had it a couple months. I would think it would hold up better than that. After sending pictures, I was told it would be approx. 200 dollars for new back to put on ourselves or 200 plus to have them do it. Would be satisfied if they just repaired it. Will no longer do business with La-Z-Boy.

La-Z-Boy’s top of the line. So far, I never ran into any furniture made of particle board from La-Z-Boy. And their furniture lasts a long time. I bought my home in 2013 and I have had La-Z-Boy furniture in it since then. I have been looking for some items recently, especially for a sofa table. But they didn’t have it on sale at that time. So, I kept going back, and the one I got correlated right in with my furniture because I purchased the three-piece table set.
Some things can be a little pricey, but I just had to roll with it. And if I really want it, I watch for it when they get rid of old furniture and bring in new ones. And I keep my eye on certain things in the store, and then I ask about them, and I appreciate that the people at La-Z-Boy very honest. Iris, Chris who is the manager, and Lawrence have all been awesome. My first sale was with Lawrence. I bought two indoor urns, but I kept them outdoors by the garage. And then as time went on that he wasn’t there, I would go to Iris. If Iris is not there, then Chris takes care of me. I like their personality and customer service skills. And if I have questions about a piece of furniture, they will call and let me know if we still have it and they can go to the computer screen, and they can make it the way I want it.

We ordered furniture from La-Z-Boy in mid-December and my experience with the young lady who assisted us was great. She was wonderful working with me in the showroom and going through things, and she came to our home and she did a presentation. However, there has been no communication since we placed the order and gave our check. We still don’t have our furniture and I have not heard a word from anyone from La-Z-Boy. Although we were given a six to eight weeks timeframe, I would hope that representative would have kept up with it.

I purchased a recliner and matching leather sofa from La-Z-Boy. First it took 2 months to deliver the products. Less than one year later the leather is splitting and shredding. I have taken good care of these products and they are junk. Extremely dissatisfied with these very expensive pieces of furniture. Will never ever buy anything La-Z-Boy.

Their sales reps were very nice and very patient. But their delivery guys were a little muddy on the floor. Their shoes were pretty dirty while they were walking and carrying stuff around our house. I wished they wiped their shoes before entering or there was some way to keep the floor clean. Luckily, we have hardwood floor and not carpet.
Other than that, we're pleased with the items. One time, I had company around and when everybody sat down, the furniture worked nicely. The fabric feels good and I could tell they're well made. For the electric recliner, my husband said that there seems to be a string of fabric that came out from inside. We don't know what importance it plays but hopefully it's nothing. I'm also happy that the items are American made. I would recommend La-Z-Boy to my friends and tell them that they'd be supporting their country if they bought from the company.

I purchased a power recliner, pillows, and a table from La-Z-Boy. The sales rep was very professional. We had some questions, and they were all answered very satisfactorily. I liked the leather, it wasn’t all brown or black. We ended up with a brown but I saw some kind of metal blue that I thought was very nice. I may go back and get for myself. I also like that there are other stuff aside from recliners. However, I’m a little bit worried that our purchase may not hold up for a long time. Also, we've not picked up our pillows though they've been paid for. La-Z-Boy was supposed to call. But other than that, the recliner's comfortable, and it does what it said it will do.

La-Z-Boy seems to have a better quality, plus they had the furniture that we like. We got a couch six to eight months ago and then we did some painting in the house and we got a new furniture for the living room. The sales guy was very accommodating and we like doing business with them. He knows us partially now. Also, my wife is quite a bargainer. She really worked them over and we got the best price. Their quality is exceptional and you can talk business with them. The quality of the couch is very good and the cost is fair relative to that.

We needed a couch and a sleeper for our guest room. We wanted better quality stuff so we went to the La-Z-Boy in Appleton and the people there were very nice. They were helpful and they seemed really interested in what we wanted. They weren’t just pushing stuff so it was great. They matched us up with the two items really well, and we had them delivered. Jesus, the delivery guy, delivered both items at different times because they weren’t ready, and both times he was really good. He spoke good English very well. He called ahead of time and made sure we were here, and he was very punctual and on schedule. He’s a good delivery man and he’s a keeper for working.

I had a La-Z-Boy Recliner for 20 yrs and it was fantastic. I had a head injury 2 yrs ago and had to sleep in it. It wore out so I went back to buy a new one. I bought one on sale for $1,000 that had been over $2,000. I took it home, and about 2 weeks later, I went to get up and I sat on the front of the seat to put on a shoe, It turned over on me, and landed on my back. I panicked as I had to protect my head. I called Customer service and was told it can't happen but would have to go back to store. I had to leave for Christmas vacation and got back two weeks later. While gone I went to La-Z-Boy and showed the salesperson there, what happened and they were so surprised. I was given a number, they told me to call another number who told me the store where I bought it is a franchise and they would have to handle it.
I went back to store and was told NO ONE had ever had this experience and it couldn't happen. I made the store manager sit down in the same chair, put his hands on the arms to sit up. He looked at me strangely but did it. When it tried to get up, the Chair came up and hit him in the rear end. He was surprised. He gave me another number to call and HELL BROKE LOOSE. The lady told me I didn't know how to sit in a chair and ALL chairs could tip over if I did that And you should never hold on to the arms to get up. I laughed and told her to quit the ** and start telling me real things not lies. I told her I had one of their chairs for 20yrs and had done both ways and it never tipped over but this one is badly designed. She got mad at me and said she had sold chairs of all kind for many years and I didn't know what I was talking about, She blamed me for sitting too far forward.
I asked her where, it said this on their Owner's manual, oh wait you don't get an owner's manual. I told her I and millions of others get up holding on to the arms and it shouldn't happen. She got nasty and I told her I didn't come to try and get money from them, all I wanted was a chair that didn't turn over, and I feared having this one. She told me my 48 hours to return it was over, and I told her I didn't know until later that it would tip over. She told me that I was being so awful that they didn't know if they would sell me another chair or not. I said, "Fine. Give me my money back and I will buy from somewhere else." She got nasty again, and I told her I tried to be nice and tell them about a problem with their chair, but I could get pretty strong and fierce if they wanted me to. My son is a lawyer, I have videos of how it works, I would call BBB and Consumer Reports and get the local TV station. She got mad again.
I asked her that if I took this chair to court, and showed the Jury how it tips over so easily if she could convince them I didn't know how to sit on a chair. I was then told that the repairman would have to come out and see if he could fix it if it was broken. I told her to go ahead but it wasn't broken, just designed wrong. I compare this to my other one. Well he came and said it was not broken but he understood what I was saying. Now I have to wait for them to decide what to do.
OH I did call Consumer Report and are going to send out a few people to different stores and see if this same chair will tip over on them. I just wanted to settle this nicely but now I am very very angry and will fight over this, now. I don't want to, but they make you do it. I will wait until I hear from the lady at headquarters and see where I go next. Just give me my money back and we can stop doing business. (I will give you more info if you need it but I am awaiting the results of when the man came to my house, I don't like your lady and I have her name.)

I bought a $5000 sofa and loveseat from "Lazboy" because your company is well known for quality and service. This is the biggest lie ever told. One MONTH ago my items were purchased and because we picked them up to save almost $200 NOW we have to either drive them 30 miles away or pay an outrageous service fee to have a human being come to our house to look at THE TWO MAJOR ISSUES IN MY FURNITURE THAT IS LESS THAN A MONTH OLD. Your brand means nothing to me. I regret walking in your store. I might as well have gone to Rooms To Go. Your furniture is about that quality. NEVER AGAIN! I will also let everyone I know to never shop at your overpriced crappy store.

I redid my house and gave away all my old stuff. So I had to find new couches and La-Z-Boy had the most comfortable couch I've sat on. The sales reps were very friendly and helpful, and the delivery went great as well. The delivery guys were very helpful, kind, courteous, and clean. The couch is top of the line and has very good quality.

I needed some new stuff in the house, so I went out to the La-Z-Boy store and purchased from them recently. The sales representatives were very nice and they helped me through the whole process. The delivery of my purchase was right on time and the delivery guys helped put it and the whole bed down when they came in. The quality of the product I got is very good. It's fine for the space and we enjoy it. The price was fine as well. I have told people to look into La-Z-Boy. I'd go back to them.

We had bought a couch from La-Z-Boy 10 years ago, and recently we purchased a Queen Sleeper Sofa with a memory foam mattress. We needed another bed for guests, so we wanted to get one that fit the room. Everyone was really nice and polite, so I had a good experience. The delivery team was also super nice and very professional. However, the memory foam mattress was a little overpriced. A regular size mattress would be about $1500, and the Sleeper is considerably smaller and doesn’t have the same quality as a regular memory foam mattress. Also, looking online, there are other alternatives like on Amazon or other retailers that are $100 or $150 for a mattress versus $470 for the Sleeper. But we’ve always been happy with La-Z-Boy and the quality has always been there. It’s not going to be the cheapest out there, but you get what you pay for.

A representative from stanley india came over today, and fixed the chair. It is aligned now, but i still have scraped leatherette. Disappointing, as a simple check before sending it to me would have avoided this. Anyway, problem solved, and the torn part is not too noticeable. So I'm happy for now.

I got my La-Z-Boy Dreamtime about 3 months ago, and first thing noticed that it is not perfectly aligned when looked at from behind. The gap between the parts of the chair and the sides of the wooden base looked unequal, one side was very close, (a few mm) and the other had about an inch of a gap. I was very concerned, but it didn't foul or scrape, and I didn't expect it to somehow get more misaligned, so I thought it's fine. And it was fine till yesterday when I felt that the chair doesn't feel smooth while using the rocker, so I immediately checked, and saw that the left side was now scraping with every rock, and the leatherette is already scraped off at that place. Broke my heart.
My brand new expensive La-Z-Boy already damaged. I don't understand. The chair is obviously crooked. What happened to it? Is it bending? I have always used the chair with care, I am not very heavy, and only I have used the chair myself, never even moved it from that spot once. This is clearly a manufacturing defect, or a faulty piece and I hope the chair will be replaced.

About 3 years ago, I decided to get a new La-Z-Boy recliner for my wife as she just loved her old one, which she had for at least 10 years with no issues, but it was starting to show some surface wear. Upon receiving her new recliner, she was initially happy with the choice, having also moved from cloth to leather. However, over the past while - maybe 6 months now -, she has noticed how the one side of the back cushion (the upper removable section) has changed so that her back is always angled when she sits. That is, the right side seems like there is nothing left to the support and padding.
She has been compensating by adding pillows to fill in that area, but her back is getting increasingly sore and stiff from using the La-Z-Boy. I thought I would pull out my Warranty and return the chair for some warranty coverage, but to my surprise and great disappointment, I notice that warranty on such things is only 1 year. Hence, we are considering our options for replacement as trips to the chiropractor are not a long term solution.

Our old furniture was breaking down. It was a cheaper stuff that only lasted about three years and had to be replaced. I purchased a sofa recliner from La-Z-Boy and their sales rep did a great job. It was delivered to us and the experience was easy. We felt we upgraded since it’s high-quality and built to last. I’m hoping this will last longer.

We got a high leg recliner sofa from La-Z-Boy after the kids ruined the old couch. We had a perfect experience during purchase where the reps at La-Z-Boy welcomed us and gave us time but were attentive. They were knowledgeable, professional, and not pushy. The furniture is high quality and its cost is fair. We've had La-Z-Boy furniture at home for at least 12 years and I tell friends to also purchase from them.

I had to get some knee surgery done so I needed a recliner. I went to La-Z-Boy and all the people I dealt with were really nice, very helpful, and not pushy. I was happy with everyone there. Even the people who deliver the furniture were great and I called the store and asked them to let their manager know how good I thought they were. So far, I’m loving the furniture and I've been using it a lot from the day I came home after my knee replacement. The cost is also good.

I have had a very bad experience with La-Z-Boy. When I first purchased the couch the salespeople were not that friendly and I had to wait several months before I finally got my couch that I paid over $1,500 for. I had a leather couch prior to that and had it for almost 20 years and did not have a problem. When I purchased this couch from La-Z-Boy I also purchased the protection plan which indicated it would cover problems for the life of the couch. When I began seeing small peeling I got concerned so I made a claim with the protection plan company.
They told me that the peeling was not covered and call La-Z-Boy. I then called La-Z-Boy and after months of communication and sending them pictures as the couch began to shred away which is still shredding away because nothing has been done, they responded that they would only give me $200. I think that's unacceptable and I am going to proceed with possible litigation at this point. I am very disappointed.

We've bought a small chair and a recliner from La-Z-Boy a number of year ago. Then we have the Fifth Wheel that has La-Z-Boy furniture in it and we’re really happy with it. We recently purchased a power sofa, power loveseat, chair accessories, recliner, entertainment center tables, and pillows from La-Z-Boy, but we don't have them yet because it takes about 12 weeks before we would get it.
The sales reps were very nice and accommodating. Samantha greeted us and asked us what we were looking for. We were sitting on the sofa when she came over and we told her that we just fell in love with the material on it. Then, she proceeded to tell us that there are different materials that we could get, ans she also mentioned to us that we could have a designer come into our home. It wouldn’t cost us anything because we were buying from La-Z-Boy, so we did that. The designer explained to us that out the entertainment center that we have wasn't enough for TV vieweing. She's got the vision and we really put our faith in her. We picked up materials and she came in and took pictures. They didn’t tell us that we can’t have what we want. Then we went in and saw what she had thought what we should do. We really like the things that she chose.
We went in there just to get a couch and a loveseat, but we ended up buying everything for different rooms. It was a lot of money spent, and we were lucky we had it on a sale. We had 25% off of each piece and we weren't really prepared to spend that amount but we saw the value in it. La-Z-Boy has been very good. They even called us and asked if we were satisfied with everything. Samantha has called a couple of times just to touchbase with us to let us know that they’re still working on it and that they didn’t forget about it, which is very nice. We’ve been really happy with La-Z-Boy.

We purchased a loveseat, rugs, a sofa, recliners and a table from La-Z-Boy. Five years ago, I bought terrible furniture. And I had buyer's remorse. So, I had to replace it. La-Z-Boy's sales representative, Britney, was fantastic. She came to the house and made sure everything was going to fit right. And she was very professional and helpful and knew what she was talking about. I don't have my furniture yet but I'm sure it's going to be great. We saw some of it in the store, and I feel that it's top quality. The price was also fair for what I was getting. Britney made me confident that I did the right thing this time. She gave me suggestions because being an old person, I can't make decisions anymore. It was a pleasure doing business with her. I would give my friends her name and tell them to go find her.

The sofa loveseat that I had was pretty shabby and I was trying to do some things around the house. It was a good time to replace it. I wanted something sort of a recliner that I could put my legs up, so I chose the power sofa from La-z-Boy. The sales rep was very nice. She wasn’t pushy at all. She gave me some help. I have a cat so she told me which fabric served best that were much more cat resistant. The furniture is very nice, and there's a lot of good choices of fabrics which is impressive.

We purchased our reclining sofa and chair (as well as 2 reclining wing back chairs) in October 2012. We decided to purchase La-Z-Boy for the quality and warranty and because we wanted it to last. Unfortunately, we just returned from a shopping trip to replace this 5 year old furniture because the fabric on the headrests of all pieces began cracking and peeling only 3 years after we purchased it. Now, it is such bad shape that it is an embarrassment to have in our living room.
We were told when we purchased the furniture that the fabric had only a one year warranty but that this "new" type of fabric was really durable and that it would last a really long time. We spent a large sum of money on this furniture and frankly expected that we would not be shopping for furniture for at least 10 to 15 years. I am usually quite a bargain hunter but thought that when it came to furniture, you get what you pay for. In this case, that's not true. I can't tell you how disappointed I am with our La-Z-Boy furniture and would not recommend that anyone purchase it.

It has been three months trying to get the Lazy service person to repair the springs in our couch. We love the shape and size of it so we hoped that we could continue to live with our couch. But the springs need repair and person they sent to us is work-shy, not willing to make the repairs I wanted until the end of February after waiting months for him to come, and then he has the gall to be rude and overbearing in my home. So be careful when you seek to use your warranty, the person they send to you will be less welcome than you may hope.

The new furniture we got from La-Z-Boy were fine, but we had issues with the other furniture that we bought from them before and they straightened them out. But there was a problem with one particular recliner that they haven't resolved yet. In their design for the footrest part of the recliner, they have on the seat up in the front, and they have a built-up area there that they’re supposed to have used memory foam on. But that area kept breaking down. And once it broke down, it would slide down in front, and therefore the footrest wouldn’t close. My wife called La-Z-Boy and they fixed the first one, which only lasted less than a year. After that, we had trouble trying to get them to do it because it wasn’t under warranty. But according to the contract, it was under warranty, and their job was to replace it. So they replaced it, but it happened again, so we both decided to get rid of it and that we won’t get that design.

Purchased recliner 13 months ago. After the holidays I noticed cracks were occurring along the entire width on one of the folds in the material. I took my concern to the dealer I purchased from. They forwarded my picture and information to La-Z-Boy. I was told the response from La-Z-Boy was that it was out of warranty (by one month), and there was nothing they would consider doing. Upon further inspection, I found another similar line of cracks along another fold in the material. I was given a contact number for customer service at La-Z-Boy along with my Case #**. In sharing my concern with the customer service rep, I was told it was out of warranty and there was nothing she could do. This chair is located in my office so is not used everyday. Very disappointed with the results of my experience with La-Z-Boy and could not in good conscious recommend them. At this point I would not consider purchasing their products again.

I am very displeased with La-Z-Boy and their extended warranty company (Ultra Shield) that handles their repairs. I have been waiting over a month to have my couch repaired and the service company they subcontract to comes out and confirms that the motor or control is broke, neither of which they have parts for. Then they need to contact Ultra Shield to order the parts and schedule another appointment to come back out. All of which has taken 9 days and me contacting them to find out if anything has been ordered. Not yet. Still waiting on them. I am guessing it will take another 2-3 weeks to see them back. My advice buy a couch that does not have power and do not waste your time with La-Z-Boy or the extended warranty they try to sell you, unless you like spinning your wheels and waiting 2 months plus to have your couch fixed.

We moved into a new home so we needed furniture. The sales reps at La-Z-Boy were excellent. We walked in early and the rep immediately came, welcomed us, and asked us what she could help us with. And then, she really did a great job of listening to what I liked and guiding me to different products that she thought would work well. I really enjoyed working with her. She was very helpful. We got a great deal and I’m happy with our couch. It got delayed for delivery but that was not the delivery team’s fault. It got delayed at the manufacturing place. Aside from it taking a little longer than I had hoped it would when it got delivered, the guys were great. They called the day before and told me their delivery window. They called shortly before they were going to arrive. They were quick and put the furniture right where I wanted, and they were friendly. It was good.
In general, furniture is expensive but I was very happy that I was able to custom order something that I wanted. We’ve been handed down La-Z-Boy furniture in the past so I’m confident knowing that I’ve purchased a quality piece that’s going to last for a long time. My parents also have La-Z-Boy furniture and they had something on theirs wear out too quickly but it was replaced. La-Z-Boy stood behind their product. So I love knowing that too.

We recently purchased a sectional sofa, recliners, and some accessories. I've had La-Z-Boy furniture in my home for 15 years. However, the people that bought our home bought all of our furniture including the La-Z-Boy so we bought new ones and we bought it at a La-Z-Boy furniture place in Temecula. We walked in there very discouraged. We just moved to this house so we weren’t sure how to put the furniture, what kind of furniture we wanted or needed that would fit in this new home. And their reps were extremely helpful. They put it on a computer graphics and plan out exactly how our room would look. And we spent probably three hours with them and we bought everything, $10,000 worth of stuff. We were very, very pleased how sweet and patient they were with us.
The delivery team was really good too. However, they were on such a tight schedule. We bought rugs and they were stuck out from behind the couch which is on our walkway. The point of the rug was sticking out underneath so I wanted them to move it but they said they’ve already hooked it up to all the pieces. I felt like they didn’t want to take it all apart to move the rug. So, we ended up having to cut the corner of the rug underneath the couch bent up and I wasn’t thrilled with that. I think they were under the gun of having to deliver other things. Nonetheless, they were so friendly and very nice.
We love our sofas and its materials but the arm of the eight-piece sectional that we bought was not sewed correctly. It doesn’t hang evenly at all and it was very noticeable. People comment when they walk in. So, La-Z-Boy is going to make a new back for it but the problem is, the back of the chair is crooked. All the other chairs or the sectional pieces are exactly straight up front. The other one is bowed and it’s not straight at all, and it’s very noticeable. The young man that came out after the repair people wasn’t very professional. He said, “That’s the way they make them.” If anybody from headquarters came out, they would absolutely disagree that there’s no way they make this sofa back crooked and all the others are straight. So, we’re trying to figure out how to deal with that, if we should just talk to the store or something. We’re very pleased with our experience overall and I would recommend them.

It deeply saddens me to write this review about an American icon, but I cannot stay silent and allow others to believe that they are purchasing a quality product when I know that the integrity of this brand has been profoundly compromised. The twin lounge chairs that I purchased five years ago have been repaired no less than four times… Each time, the cheap PLASTIC moving parts crack, disintegrate and accumulate underneath the chair like a pile of scrap, rendering the leg support useless. As if that wasn’t bad enough, it takes TWO WEEKS to get a service tech out to my house just to verify what I told them over the phone.
At this point, the “tech” scratches his head and says “Yup! It’s broke!”, then informs me that the part will be shipped to my house in TWO WEEKS. When the shipment arrives, I am then supposed to call “Customer Care” and schedule another appointment for the technician to come out to actually repair the chair (which by the way, is ANOTHER TWO WEEKS). If you’ve been paying attention, you know that is a total of six weeks without the use of my chair.
I actually fell for the “lifetime warranty” spiel from the silver-tongued salesperson, but what he conveniently failed to mention was that, although La-Z-Boy will absorb the cost of the replacement part (it couldn’t cost them much because it’s CHEAP PLASTIC), I was responsible for the $109 service call! When you add up all the service calls I have had over a five-year period, I could’ve purchased a brand new chair!
Finally, to add insult to injury, the technician apparently forgot about our appointment last night, and I had to reschedule… Earliest appointment available is next week, adding one more week to this already abysmal scenario. As the only response I get from virtually EVERYONE I have had the displeasure of speaking with is “I’m sorry for your inconvenience”, I plan to post this review on every website that will publish it! It has become abundantly clear that they are not sorry and have no intention of making this right.
If anyone from La-Z-Boy is reading this, let me just say that I’ll bet Brooke Shields doesn’t get that kind of poor service because if she did she wouldn’t be advertising your brand! In conclusion, it is my opinion that the name “La-Z-Boy” is more an indictment of the quality of their product and service than it is about client comfort and care. Consumer Beware: if you want Kmart quality, go to Kmart!

After a 40 minutes wait on the phone to speak a customer a nice person answered the call, I gave her the IKC number. After a few minutes she informed me that they only had one of the parts that might be needed for the repair. However even if they cannot fix it I will be charged $109.00. When I asked if that was fair she informed me that they depend on their vendors to have the parts. So please be aware that customer service is not that good.

I had a good experience with La-Z-Boy and we're still working with them. The sales rep was very helpful. We went down numerous times to work out the details. My husband was very picky about what he wanted but she was very patient with us and very thorough. She wanted to make sure that we did understand exactly what we were getting and what we would not be getting by ordering that sectional that we did.
She worked with us on the leather, the different grades and the different qualities. I thought she did an exceptional job. She came out here at the house and measured for she could see the space and spent some time here just kind of getting a feel of our condo. And then helping us pick something that she thought would fit nicely in there. She knew that in the end we might have to put it in storage for a week or two so we could get the remodel of our house finished. And now La-Z-Boy is still holding our furniture for us because the carpet is not yet laid. Then they're going to deliver it here to the condo once it is done.
We actually liked a different sectional better. I thought it had better mechanical qualities than the sectional that we ordered but it don't meet some of our other criteria that we needed. It had to had the mechanical support but not the lumbar support. And I think one of La-Z-Boy's do have a lumbar support mechanism. But we did not get that one. But overall I thought it as good anyway. It was still a good product for us. It seemed expensive but everything is expensive and overall it was a very positive experience.

Bought a rocker/recliner from them in 6/2016. Was told what a "great" warranty they have and was talked into the fabric care extended warranty. Paid a good deal for this but thought with kids and pets it may be worth it. I called the warranty company today, Ultra Shield, to indicated there is some staining, spots and some threads hanging out of the seams. Was told this was NOT COVERED. Hmmm...so what does it cover? I told them the spots are probably coffee but was told if I am not positive, they won’t cover it.
So I guess what La-Z-Boy fails to tell you is you need to track every little spot, stain, etc. on your chair so when you call the warranty company, you can give dates, types of spills etc. This has been the worst purchase we have ever made. Our chair looks like a 20 year old garage sale buy! Our friends warned us not to purchase here. We should of listened. I will now tell everyone I know to avoid them! This was after we went thru hell when we purchased the chair and the fabric color was wrong. This latest incident just seals the deal with us! Never again!

Our old stuff was getting worn out and we wanted to change the décor in our living room. The sales rep at La-Z-Boy was a little scatterbrained, but the designer was excellent. I've had La-Z-Boy in my home for 35 years and we've always been very pleased with them. That’s why we keep coming back. I like mostly the quality and how the product has lasted for us.

The representative at La-Z-Boy has been really good. However, they used to give us the armrest and the pad for the back of the chair all the time, but they don’t do that anymore. I'm using the ones I bought 10 years ago. Also, the first time we got the rocking the swivel chair, it was $50. The second time we bought it was $100. This time it was $150. Plus everything was screwed up during the delivery. They brought us the wrong chairs three different times. First time they did, they didn’t bring the swivel. Then when they came back the next time, they brought one swivel and one regular. I said it wasn't right and that we ordered two swivels. So the third time, they came over and we got the two swivels. We're real happy with their furniture and the quality is what you pay for.

Our sofa and loveseat were delivered in November of 2016. The family has always touted the quality of La-Z-Boy. We decided that we wanted quality furniture that would last for years. This furniture was NOT cheap! But, to our dismay, we’ve wasted our money, and not to mention, our time. We are, absolutely, tired of long repair appointments in our home. Our sofa and loveseat have needed multiple repairs. First our loveseat was not even fully assembled from the factory per the service repair person that has been to our home. There were areas that weren’t even bolted together. The reclining mechanisms have also needed replacement. Our sofa is the biggest problem. While, it also needs mechanical repairs, the fabric is defective. The repair person tried to shave the fabric, but it isn’t “pilling”. It is SHREDDING! The repair person recommended that we need a new sofa.
Strings of fabric are pulling out all over the sofa, and the underlying fabric is showing. La-Z-Boy has denied our replacement voucher, because they say an area needs shaved due to pilling. I know the difference between pilling and the ability to pull strings of fabric out from any area of the sofa. It’s causing balding areas. It’s severe and unsightly. It can only get worse. Also, I’m not a large person, but I sat down in the reclining sofa and the backrest snapped. So, now it isn’t only ugly but non-functional garbage. The loveseat is used daily, but amazingly, is not shredding. How is this possible if the sofa fabric isn’t defective? I feel that we’ve been told to suck it up and just live with it. La-Z-Boy got their money, and now they just want us to shut up and keep their junk! Manufacturing of this furniture has, apparently, become LA-Z!

I recently purchased two recliners from La-Z-Boy in Montgomery AL. I already had three La-Z-Boy recliners, love seat and sofa. I was told by the salesman that armchair covers and headrest covers were no longer included with purchase. I purchased these for two recliners at the cost of $149.97. When they arrived, there were only four square covers for two recliners. I am very dissatisfied with my purchase. My overall experience with my last purchase was unsatisfactory. I will not be buying any more La-Z-Boy products.

When I found out that I had to pay between $100 - $200 to repair my recliner so the leg rest would rise, I decided not to put any money into this expensive piece of furniture that should have lasted longer than 3 years. As it is we spent over $2600 for 2 pieces because of LB reputation. I will consider warning consumers about buying furniture from this company.

La-Z-Boy makes some decent furniture but I would highly recommend not buying the Ultra Shield extended fabric warranty. It is a complete ripoff. I purchased the warranty with a chair that I bought. About a year and a half after buying the chair I noticed the arm had a small tear in the fabric. This is something that is supposed to be covered but they said that because it was a snag that they would not cover it. I realize now that I completely wasted my money on this warranty because after searching online, I am not the only one this has happened too. La-Z-Boy should be ashamed of themselves for even associating themselves with such a rotten company!

Dealing with the sales rep at La-Z Boy was really good. The one who helped us there was relatively new but she was excellent. As we were walking around, I inquired about what we were looking for and the color. Soon, it progressed from there, and got a bit more detailed, they grabbed a swatch and did some work on the computer and eventually got us what we needed. It was pretty quick. The rep gave us a follow-up card and I actually spoke to her on the phone to schedule the delivery. She was very easy to talk to, very personable and very easy to work with. So, I appreciated that. Kudos to her. The delivery was perfect. They brought the furniture in, unpacked them, sat on them with me, took a picture and left. The quality of the sofa and recliner is excellent. It's on par with its cost. We got our furniture custom-made. La-Z Boy was customer-driven and efficient.

We replaced the furniture in one of the rooms of this house. It was from another house we had out in Arizona and it wasn't the right style for this house. We ruthlessly gutted the room and started over. We purchased a sofa, chairs, tables, pillows, and accessories from La-Z-Boy, and their sales reps were pretty good. We went in and looked at furniture that we thought we liked and could work in our home. Then, we made an appointment to have a designer come out to the house to give us a hand in our selections. After that, we had to make a change because we thought we were able to put the sectional type sofa in there, but there wasn't any space for that since the room was too small. Then we got the furniture ordered and delivered. Their delivery team were awesome. They were concerned about me and for the furniture to get in safely. They also made sure they didn't do any damage to the house and were very courteous.
So far, I like the furniture a lot. The store has made me an offer to swap out the lamp that we bought but I'm not going to bother changing it. It's kind of a brushed nickel looking lamp and it got some markings on it. I've buffed it up a little bit myself and it's fine. We also had some upgrades like the memory foam cushions and we spent a little more than we thought we were going to, but the price was fair.
Everybody was good at La-Z-Boy and our experience was very delightful. I'd recommend them. It was our second experience of doing a complete room with them and using their design staff. We did another room a little over a year ago in the same house and they also did great on that. However, we had to have one of the chairs replaced recently. It was misbuilt and we just realized it over the holidays. But the replacement chair doesn't have a memory foam like the defective one it replaced so my wife's going to talk to them about that.

Years and years ago I went to a La-Z-Boy store with my mom where she bought a small sofa at that time and I was so impressed. And then when we moved we did not bring much furniture with us and that was the first store that we saw. I said, "We got to go to La-Z-Boy." We couldn't be happier and I probably might return later on. Dealing with the reps of La-Z-Boy was so good right from the beginning. The first lady that we spoke to was very helpful. Soon after we met Lane who is like the designer there. Everyone that were there was so helpful.
We spent a lot of hours there choosing furniture, choosing materials to cover the certain chairs and sofas. It was great. And Lane even came to our new house and took measurements, looked at what how things would fit. We were concerned about furniture fitting in certain walls and certain rooms but everything went perfect. And then even when it came to the time for lamps, we hardly brought any lamps with us and she immediately said, "Oh, I think this would look great." We could not be happier with every piece of furniture, lamp or even rugs.
We bought two area rugs in the great room and the dining area. Lane came and even helped with the laying of the really big rug in the great room that it would be under the furniture correctly. Everything was measured beautifully and I told a lot of my neighbors about it. I said, "You've got to go to La-Z-Boy." We even bought little end tables and other accent things.
All furniture have been delivered. It took a while. We had to wait probably six weeks for things. But it was okay because it was a new house. And some of the things came right away. We had to wait but it was all right. Even most of the things had to be ordered. That was the other interesting thing is that like even the bedroom furniture and stuff like that, and my hutch we literally ordered from a catalog which was a little risky I thought in the beginning. But yet they had pieces of the same furniture, wood-type, and everything there at the store that I could see exactly what the wood-type was going to look like and all that. So it worked out well.
The quality of furniture is great. I love this Kincaid line we bought. The Kincaid furniture in the bedroom, also the hutch. And then we bought end tables, other things. And of course the upholstered furniture's great. It's all really durable. And the rugs are also really good about direct enough with the material of the rugs. So we would get long wear out of the rugs and all that stuff, too.
The delivery people were fabulous. We basically have two different groups. But it was nice. It was the same people kind of kept coming back. And they knew our house and everything was unpacked, everything went placed where we wanted. And even the rug they cut the pad when they put it down and then laid the rug perfectly over it. And they always called. I knew exactly when they were coming. They gave me a time of day and then, they would always call about 30 minutes before they were or when they were on their way and say, "Hey, we're coming." So we couldn't be happier with that either because sometimes you'd never quite know when people are showing up for delivery.
One last thing that I want to mention too that people need to know is that their prices were very competitive with everything else. We got a lot of prices that were on good sale for Labor Day in September. When La-Z-Boy is mentioned to people all they think is recliners but honest-to-goodness there are so many more things in that store before other than recliners. It's like a regular wonderful furniture store, not just recliners. But the recliners are great. We're not recliner people. It was so funny my husband says, "I don't need a recliner." And then I bought one that you wouldn't know it was a recliner. He said, "I really like this. I want at least one to put my feet up." And guess who's sits in all of the time. It's my husband.

Bought a reclining arm chair 2 years ago. Was convinced to get 7 yr warranty. Covers bodily fluids, tears and rips. Well, a hole has developed in the arm where an elbow would be when in reclining position. Claim is denied as it's deemed to be wear and tear. Separation of the fabric is not considered a tear or rip. Two years old and it looks 10 yr old with a hole in the arm. Very dissatisfied with La-Z-Boy "extended" warranty.

We moved and we needed additional pieces for a larger family room. We have an existing La-Z-Boy sectional that we purchased three years ago and we have been excited about the Spectator couch and we wanted to add it. We interacted with a lady in the Whitehall store by the name of Tanya and also Heather who was our prior salesperson from three years ago. They were phenomenal in getting us what we needed and in knowing what we wanted.
The funny thing was the piece was about to expire after being produced for seven years and they went above and beyond to get the order processed before they stopped making this component. That was huge for us. They were exceptional in every step of the way with providing us solutions and giving us options if that solution didn’t work out. We had ideas of what we were going to purchase and they gave us layouts of the room, other options and even calling us out of the office on their time from restaurants and keeping us abreast of where we are. I got a scheduled date which is late in January so we're still waiting for the furniture. Our initial sectional has been great for three years and hopefully, the additional pieces will be just as well-built.

I knew that the La-Z-Boy stuff is good quality. I talked with Debbie, their the salesperson, and she was great. She was extremely knowledgeable and took her time working with me. She ran several different scenarios as far as price points and told me that I can take my time. She made us feel like we could price it out 12 ways if I wanted to and I appreciated that. I purchased a sofa and a loveseat for our new floor and she explained all the ins and outs of the pet protection since I got that and a warranty too. It was a great experience.
Somebody called and said that the delivery people would be there shortly and that worked out good. But the delivery team wasn't the best as they seemed very rushed. I thought they would move my furniture to the basement but they said that they were not allowed to do that which was fine. And then, they tried to take it out through my sliding glass door and I was afraid they actually cracked the door, but they didn't. I had them put the furniture outside until my husband got home so that he could put it in the basement as we were giving it to somebody. But they didn't put the cushions back on it outside, they just tossed them. Other than that, I love the quality of the furniture. I've had them since December 22 and it's a thoroughly nice set. I got a good deal too. I was being economical with my budget. But at the same time, everything was warranted as far as the mechanisms and springs which I like and am pleased with it.

I needed a new recliner because my other recliner was uncomfortable and I threw it out. I needed something smaller for me. My best friend raved about La-Z-Boy but my cousin had nothing good to say about them. But I took my friend’s advice more seriously than my cousin. The sales rep was really good. Every time I change my mind he was very, very gracious. We took a long time and he knew that we did not intend to buy that day, but still he was very gracious. The delivery team was very nice and they told me that I had to lean back when I close the recliner. But it would make such a loud clank and they told me how to loosen it up. I'm 80 years old and I don't know how to do that myself. They said it would loosen up but I feel like it’s going to break.
But the La-Z-Boy has excellent quality and it has a lifetime warranty on the parts. The warranty on the fabric is only for five years but I had that treated so I’m really happy about it. I paid a lot of extra and the delivery cost is exorbitant but I needed it. La-Z-Boy is pricier than some companies, but it’s worth it to have the service that I had from them.

We purchased a La-Z-Boy leather sectional 2 1/2 years ago. We had always heard of the great quality products you sold and how they held up over many years. My parents purchased La-Z-Boy recliners when I was younger and always enjoyed the quality and comfort. Based on recommendations, we made our purchase, spending almost $3,000. Now, after 2 1/2 years, several parts of our sectional are peeling and look terrible! And the middle of the couch sags. This is all with every day, normal use. We contacted the company to see if they would make this right and the only solution we received was to purchase replacement cushions at a reduced price.
One side alone will cost $700 to replace! What a disappointment!! We have to put more money into an already expensive piece of furniture in hopes that it doesn't peel again. We are so disappointed that a company with a historically good reputation would not do more! At the very least, it should be replaced for free. Even better, a store credit for different furniture would be desirable. If this is the best that can be done, we will never buy La-Z-Boy products again and will make sure everyone we know is aware of our situation.

I needed a larger chair to sit in with my grandson and my dog as they all tried to crowd on a small chair with me. The La-Z-Boy sales rep was very helpful. He called to let me know that the delivery was coming in and the delivery people were very pleasant when they came. The furniture was fairly priced and the quality's good so far. I have the reclining chair for about two months now and I'm enjoying it. Also, I was very happy with the service and the helpfulness of La-Z-Boy's personnel.

I have had La-Z-Boy in my home for 25 years. Recently I purchased a sofa to update my furniture. And, their sales representatives were all good. They were professional, courteous, and helpful. However, I was disappointed with how they advertised their sales. It is deceptive marketing. I don’t like the idea of being told that their sale ends Monday, or you got to buy by Friday because the sale ends and they don’t know what the next sale is going to be. La-Z-Boy builds quality products. They just have to be honest with their pricing. If they can spell 30%, then they have to market it for 30%. People will gravitate towards quality if they want quality. Other than that, I had a very courteous experience.

We wanted to get the La-Z-Boy power furniture. We went to a store we’ve been to before and everybody there was very nice. They showed us everything they had. We picked out what we liked and bought it. Then, they delivered the furniture in a couple days which was nice. There were two gentlemen who came in and set up everything. They plugged in all the wires and showed me how it works. They were in and out and did a good job. I had a recliner for many years so this is my third one. The quality's fair with the pricing that they had. I would recommend La-Z-Boy to anyone.

The rockers in my travel trailer was horrible and I wanted something more comfortable that reclined. So I purchased two recliners from La-Z-Boy and it was a very pleasant experience. The other furniture that we have were getting worn down and we ended up with La-Z-Boy. We looked around and La-Z-Boy had the recliner we needed. The sales rep we had was a manager. He was very helpful in getting us figures for the pieces and took us around the whole store looking at tables and other couches. They were really very helpful. The delivery team was great. They were in and out of here and made sure everything was working and then they left. They were also earlier than the time scheduled. We liked the furniture that we got from La-Z-Boy and it was a lot better than what we saw in other places. The cost was a little more than the rest but with the quality of the pieces, it’s right on. If we ever purchase again, it’s going to be La-Z-Boy.

We bought our first La-Z-Boy 25 years ago. Recently the old stuff was worn out and it was time to purchase new furniture. Once we were in the store, they sent out a person to help us and it was a very pleasant experience. The delivery team was also excellent. They came in, did their job and then left. We purchased a recliner, chair and a half, sofa, ottoman and pillows. So far, we're really enjoying it. It was higher end but that’s what we expected. I know it will last a long time, so it’s worth the price.

These cushions have been a nightmare since day 1. I took them back to the store to show them what was going on with them and the manager told me I wasn't flipping them often enough. What??? Every time company leaves, they have to be flipped or they roll. They are a mess. Sorry sight for a 1600.00 sofa, My whole house is La-Z-Boy, but for the future??? I am fed up with these cushions!!!!

My recliner was quite expensive. I bought it for the comfort and appearance, which I am very satisfied with. This noise every time I close the recliner is so annoying. I have had a serviceman check it out and he says nothing can be done. Unfortunately, I will never purchase La-Z-Boy again.

We have had La-Z-Boy furniture in our home for over 10 years and I loved them. It was in our family room and it lasted a very long time. But ‘cause they were ugly and well worn, we purchased a new one. The new one went out to the living room so it won't get as much usage but it's updated from what we had which is what I wanted. In terms of the cost in relation to the quality, it was good for everything I got. During the purchase, their sales reps were very helpful. We walked around and discussed things at length. Then one of them came out to the house to see what dimensions we were working with and I showed her the pieces that I liked including the colors that I would like to work with. Our experience was great and everything came together.

Ordered Makenna sofa. No nailheads on item. Very upset. Saleswoman tried to tell me it was an option. She lied! Never told me that. I even mentioned how I liked them. The sofa in the store had them. Every picture I have ever seen had them. Never saw this style without them. I repeat, she never ever said it was an option. If she had I would have ordered it with them. I thought it was standard. Very very disappointed. Also tried to fill out a form on your website and after spending 45 minutes it did not go through!!

I worked with just one person from La-Z-Boy and she was very friendly and helpful. I was able to bring the furniture home myself, and the young girl that made the sale helped me load it in the car. I was surprised that not one of the men offered to do that, but I presumed they must have that agreement there at the store that whoever sells does it. So far I’m happy and I’ll be able to tell more a year or two from now, but La-Z-Boy has a good reputation and that’s why I shopped there. It was a convenient, helpful and satisfactory experience.

I’ve had La-Z-Boy for about 40 years and I love them. My last La-Z-Boy was 23 years old and it was pretty worn out, so about two weeks ago, I purchased a recliner. Their sales agent was very nice and knowledgeable. He showed us what was on clearance which was what I wanted as I didn’t want to spend a lot of money. It was a $1,100 chair on clearance for $300. I sat on it for a while and liked it, so I bought it. I got a good deal and I’m very happy with it. We bought other furniture and they’re crap. They don’t hold up. I’ve got another La-Z-Boy that’s from the early 80's that my son is using. La-Z-Boy springs, mechanisms and the woodwork are all warrantied. If I have to pay for anything, it’s the cost of the padding. La-Z-Boy furniture also holds their value. We’ve looked online and people want about $300 for used ones. I recommend them to anybody and I won’t buy another chair other than a La-Z-Boy.

We bought a La-Z-Boy Soft in Mar 17, for Grand in Winchester VA, the soft was replaced once because the seat were out of line, the right and center seats were replaced because the seams were coming apart. The left seat was replace because it was a different color, then the center seat seam is coming apart and the left power lift system does not work. The store Grand has submitted another work order. I called the Service department at La-Z-Boy and it was a waste of time, they will open a file, but the store is responsible for repairs. Whatever happened to Services?

I will never again buy La-Z-Boy. I thought it was a great product after all these years. So, we splurged and went well over budget to buy these two sofas. Such a huge disappointment. After countless complaints and service coming out to our home we are still extremely dissatisfied. Lots of creaking, couch is crooked, arms have indentions that were supposed to popped out, said it was from packaging. Well that never happened. Horrible furniture! I will share this and make it viral. La-Z-Boy now wants to charge me to come look at this junk. Ha! Never again will I give them a single penny. Our hard working money went to this garbage furniture. We are saving again to buy a completely different brand. We could have bought junk for half the price and probably been just as satisfied.

I am a disabled person who paid over $3,000 for a La-Z-Boy power lift chair in November of 2015. So far it has been literally completely "replaced"! First the bottom went out and was replaced less than a year after purchase. When here the repair person found the back to also be faulty! He ordered the part and I was instructed to "just let my husband replace it". Also I am on my THIRD controller! The first one completely died. The second one the coating on the cord split to expose the wires. The third one was just replaced a few weeks ago and already shows signs of failure! NOT to mention I was told to just let my husband replace it when it arrives.
OH! On top of the charge of the controller they charged me a $12 "handling" fee! Not!! Now the damn piece of junk sounds as if something underneath is "missing" or "popping" when either lifting or reclining! Whether occupied or empty. Both my husband and I are well within the weight limit! BTW I must mention that I am extremely dependent on this chair as I not only have arthritis but I also suffer from fibromyalgia and have had FIVE major spine surgeries with the last one being a NINE hour surgery and my lumbar spine now is one solid piece of bone and titanium!
I have major loss of range of motion which means that I CANNOT easily raise from a sitting to standing position without help! I also have now side to side movement. This chair SHOULD enable me to stay at home while my husband is at work. This chair SHOULD be able to stand up to my occasionally sleeping in it as I can no longer use a conventional bed every night! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN!!! Sadly I cannot verify by supplying an order number or a receipt as it was not returned to me by the repairman!! But you can easily find my info from my name!!!

Although the sales rep of La-Z-Boy was nice he was the only one that approached us when I had been in the store for more than 15 minutes and they were not busy. My husband had to go all over the store looking for someone to show us the furniture that we wanted until he came to us and said, "Oh don't worry, I'll take care of you." Just because everything is expensive some people think that you're just browsing and not going to buy anything.
And when I wanted to let them know that I can feel the wood in the bottom of the sofa and it's not cushiony enough nobody would talk to me. And the other day we tried the power button. We tried to close it and didn't close entirely. We opened it again and we tried to close it but it stayed a little open for like two days and then the third day it closed.
Also when you see the sofa from the front the left part and the center part look alike. But the one in the right part don't match perfectly so I told the guy that installed it. And then he said, "Well, maybe it's the cushion or something." But it's like it doesn't belong to that sofa and they just put it in there. But the rest of it was okay and we like La-Z-Boy.

The La-Z-Boy sales rep was very helpful. The delivery went very well and the delivery people pretty much took care of everything. They had everything in hand and under control. I like the furniture very much. I like the quality, the firmness and softness. It's firm and it gives where I needed to give. There are companies that sell things cheaper but I still went with the answer of American made for the quality. I was surprised that everything went smooth and I've recommended La-Z-Boy to other people.

We needed to update our furniture. I had looked at the La-Z-Boy store once when we needed to get a recliner a year ago. My couch was very old so we went out looking and liked what we saw. Everybody at La-Z-Boy was so easy to work with, no matter who I talk to. We had ordered a new recliner first and then I needed a couch just for me so about a week later I went back and picked out one. When they called me to say they were going to deliver the recliner, I asked if they could do so for the couch. They made everything happen and both things came at the same time. With the delivery people, everything went so smooth and they let me know every step. They were exactly on time and did what they were supposed to. They also were very polite and very careful. They put everything together, too. There was a sale, but even if for the full price the products are very good. I'd definitely recommend La-Z-Boy.

I purchased a sofa from La-Z-Boy for my dad years ago. Recently, we moved and we wanted furniture that was durable. I talked to a couple of La-Z-Boy salespersons and everybody was well versed and very knowledgeable of the product. They were very helpful and very attentive. I was given updates any time I called and asked a question about the status of the product. I got an opportunity to take the swatches home and compare, so everything was good. The delivery people came in and put little shoes in over their shoes. They put everything together and made sure things worked before they left, so that was perfect. The price was fair for the product we received. I as well as everybody who comes by love the sofa. La-Z-Boy was definitely a good experience and totally different from the other places we looked for sofas prior to purchasing the one we have.

La-Z-Boy has had a reputation for years. My mother has been purchasing La-Z-Boy as far as 40 years ago. And I recently bought a chair, loveseat, sofa, and recliner. They're consistent with the quality and reputation we’ve known for 40 years. We’re very happy with our new La-Z-Boy furniture. The prices are reasonable, the delivery was reliable, and their staff was courteous and helpful. I would tell my friends to give La-Z-Boy a try.

I purchased two custom covered Riley chairs approx 4 Years ago. There is only my husband and I so by no means that the furniture has been abused or hardly sat on. Both chairs the arms fabric are coming apart, it seems that they are only stapled on. Absolute piece of junk and so shabbily made. Such a disappointment for expensive pieces of furniture. I will never look at purchasing another La-Z-Boy product. What I thought would have been our last chair purchase will obviously not to be, the chairs won’t even make it to the basement. They will be to the curb. Such a shame.
Updated on 01/15/2018: Someone from La-Z-Boy contacted me, that was a joke. Gave me a undeliverable email address to send the photos to. I’m not playing back and forth with the messages on this site. My time is important too. If you're looking for furniture folks don’t bother with La-Z-Boy, the stuff just doesn’t last for the price I expect at least 10 years if not more. Those chairs won’t even make it to the basement. Out to the curb with the other garbage.

Let me start off I have a 25 year old La-Z-Boy. Not a single issue. Two fabric recliner purchases in last 8 years both have issues. Recliner 1 frame became loose and wobbly. Under warranty cost me 99.00 USD for them to come out to my place to confirm what I had told them. And an additional shipping both ways to get it fixed. Most recent purchase 4 year old recliner, fabric failure in several areas. Inside arm front, leg rest, seat cushion all within the last 2 months. I have fabric protection but I refuse to pay another hundred for a tech to come out and confirm condition. I am so very disappointed in La-Z-Boy products. A simple slip cover costs 119.00. Who knows what reupholstering will hit me with. My best bet might be to purchase another brand rather than repair. This is my last La-Z-Boy ever.

I purchased a La-Z-Boy recliner today to match the sofa and loveseat I recently bought from them, too. The two gals who waited on me were absolutely fabulous. They came out to the house and gave me excellent advice. They are going to San Diego State and getting their degree in interior decorating and they knew their stuff. They didn't push, they just directed. It was not like the traditional walk-in, trying to sell you something you don't want. Having those young people that are interior decorating is a major asset because they put colors together. I have a nautical theme in a formal living room, and they really put that together with me and gave me some great ideas. La-Z-Boy wants to make sure the customers are happy because if they are not, that's the worst advertisement they can get.
My purchase was even on sale at $5,000. It was about 32% plus I got a military discount. And it will be coming on the 29th of this month. I went to high and medium-end furniture stores and some of the high-end was a joke. It wasn’t any better than medium furniture. But I felt that La-Z-Boy's quality was excellent and they are sturdy, too. The chair I was having looked like a high quality and I got the protection just to make sure. I'm happy but the only drawback I have with La-Z-Boy is when you go online, it is hard to find out exactly what your material costs. But that's still minimal compared to the whole deal.

La-Z-Boy is fabulous. We went to several stores and the quality of the furniture, the look of it and their service was beautiful. And we were able to get the former model and got $500 off the couch. We came in and the sales rep greeted us and asked us what we're looking for, what colors and what kind of fabric and I thought he went to La-Z-Boy University because he knew everything. He really gave a lot of answers to what we were asking. Also they weren’t pushy and that was nice.
We had a team come out for the delivery and they were just very quick. They unpacked it well and hooked it up for us. The people at La-Z-Boy were just very polite and professional. Plus the couch looks like a designer. It’s really pretty and sitting on it is like sitting on a cloud. La-Z-Boy did a fantastic job and I would recommend to my friends that they go to that store in Raleigh and go find what they need.

I was impressed with the level of knowledge of La-Z Boy's representatives. They were very helpful and very courteous. The young lady that came to the house came up with proposals later on and I was impressed. She had great ideas. We went with most of her suggestions. It went very well. I've purchased from La-Z-Boy 40 years ago. We moved and downsized, so we had to get new furniture for a smaller place. Their store's conveniently located and has many options in size but not in style. I bought from them a recliner and a sectional and I really liked their sales reps. The first woman we spoke with was really good and knowledgeable. And then we dealt with another woman, Loren, who helped us pick the material, came to the apartment and mapped it out on her computer. The delivery was perfect too. However, the upholstering of the furniture is not up to par. The throw pillows have a ribbon around the edges and are a lot bigger than they should be. They're too thick and not good with the furniture. And as a furniture lover, the cost is excessive. But the fabric choice is good and overall, it's been a very positive experience. We could use a little more help because we need bookshelves so I'm going to get in touch with Loren again.

I've had La-Z-Boy furniture for 12 years. Recently there was a move involved and I needed something different, and I purchased a sectional sofa and a table from them. The manager of the store was informative and helped me out with a lot of things. But the first sales rep didn’t have the information I needed to know about the coffee table. She wasn’t very well-informed about what it was made of.
Also, when we went to do the final check-out and the numbers were calculated, there was a $40 increase. I asked them what that was about and they said it was for the cleaning kit. I didn't ask for that, and they said that everybody usually bought it. I didn’t appreciate them putting it on my bill without asking me about it first. They should ask people if they want that or they don't want it before they charge for it. Other than that, everything was fine and it was generally a good experience. The delivery guys were outstanding. I'm not as impressed with the sectional as I am with the leather couch I got from them years ago, but its cost was fair. La-Z-Boy got good products and a variety of choices.

We purchased a sofa and 2 recliner chairs for our condo in which we live only 6 months per year. Delivery was 4/16. One chair was chipped on arrival and we received no response to our many calls and emails. Now we see that the fabric on the sofa is wearing and pilling causing it to look like a worn out old couch, after very little actual use. “This is the last sofa you’ll ever buy,” said the salesperson. We are so very disappointed by the quality of the product and the poor service!

I just experienced the other end of LazBoy -- the repair end and feel compelled to let others know before they make a purchase. I purchased a recliner less than a year ago and this morning heard a disturbing noise when I reclined it. After turning it on its side, we found that the wooden platform had been working its way loose for some time. We have retrieved three screws, but are having difficulty putting them back in place -- therefore the request for service. I was given the earliest date of 1/9/2018 which is nine days. If I had known that service was this poor, I would have purchased my recliner elsewhere. Anyone considering buying a La-Z-Boy, needs to be aware of their service record.

My new home has some new spaces that I needed to furnish. I bought a couch from La-Z-Boy, and I worked with Steve. He was very attentive and returned calls promptly with information. He was even willing to take pictures of some fabrics and send them to me because I had to do business over the phone mostly. He did a great job. Also, the furniture has a great quality and warranty.

We recently purchased two recliners, one with the pillow, one that had the extra supported cushioning, and another one that was done normally. We had a La-Z-Boy recliner that we gave away, and another one we have in our bedroom right now. We have a condo in Florida and there’s another one down there, too. The seats started to get some holes in them on the two that we have here in our family room. They wore quite well, though, and were so easy to wipe off. We have grand kids and dogs, and any of the slobber or spills came off. They also remained soft, comfortable, and everything there is in shape and soft. The first time we went to a La-Z-Boy store, we had a silly, young girl that was very patient yet very anxious to help. But all of the personnel are nice. We’d recommend La-Z-Boy.

We've used La-Z-Boy before and then I purchased from them again. The people were wonderful. They're very young but they provided old-fashioned service. I was very impressed with the nice young ladies that were in the La-Z-Boy Palm Beach Gardens. I just moved into a small apartment and I was afraid that I would do overkill and one of their decorator helped me to be sure if the furniture would be too humongous with what I'm choosing. So it worked out really good. I'm very pleased. The furniture really looked nice and I love it. I recommend La-Z-Boy. I had a couple of people here on my complex who asked where I got my recliner and I said, "La-Z-Boy." The whole thing was just a nice experience.

Our experience with La-Z-Boy so far is good. We liked the product and its quality, and we've had good luck with them in the past - they always got good service on them. I recently bought two power recliner from them because the other ones are already getting worn out. The sales rep was very helpful and patient with us. Delivery was also fine. We'd recommend them.

Our daughter and her husband have bought La-Z-Boy products for quite some time. They're very sold on them and they talked us into it. Our old furniture was worn out so we bought two power lift recliners. La-Z-Boy's sales representative worked very hard and spent a lot of time to help us. The delivery was okay but we're unhappy that we paid $100 to get one of the recliners sprayed to resist stains. They told us that there would be some indication on the tag on the chair which one it was because the chairs were identical but there was none and the people who delivered them didn't know anything about it.
I called and told them that I needed to know which one of the chairs was sprayed. I asked for serial numbers but they never called me back. I would still like to know because one chair is for my husband who's disabled. He eats and takes his medicine on his chair. And now, we don't know if he's on the right one. But if they can't tell me, then I would want my $100 back.
The lift chair has been great for my husband but not for me because as soon as I get settled on it and I have to get up, I can't get out of it. I have to push the button and slowly wait for it to stand me up. So it's not too good for anybody who gets up and down a lot which I didn't realize would be problem. I tried some of the other La-Z-Boy chairs with just the manual lever and the chairs were too heavy for me. I could have gotten some electronic thing but that would have made it even more expensive. And one surprise we have with the sofa, because we didn't really examined it closely in the store, was that the back cushions are not loose. They're sewn on to the back and I can't take them off. Other than that, even though it's probably the most expensive furniture we've ever bought in our life, the quality is very good and everything seems to be working well.

We've had La-Z-Boy furniture for a while and it was time to get a new one. I recently purchased a recliner from them and Steve, one of the sales reps I dealt with, was very good. The recliner is of good quality, but it hasn't been delivered yet and I expect it to arrive in a week. I had a great experience and I’ll tell a friend to try La-Z-Boy out.

I have had La-Z-Boy before, so I went with them again. I don't have a taste for that kind of decorating and design and all that, so the woman that we worked with was fabulous. I had a great experience with the salespeople at that store. The delivery called today as there was a mix-up. My address was entered, transposed and corrected back, so we are all set. The furniture is coming tomorrow. I'd recommend them!

We purchased a recliner in September of 2016 for my wife to be comfortable after being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. We felt La-Z-Boy would be a good choice and worth the investment. BAD CHOICE. The stitching started to fail right away. We called for warranty. The entire bottom section was replaced after a few weeks. Move ahead 10 months and the exact same area is AGAIN falling apart. We called customer service and were told we could not be helped because the warranty started when the recliner was delivered. I asked for a warranty manager to call back and tell me why the overpriced La-Z-Boy garbage won't last long enough to complete a 12 month warranty. Of course NO call back. We paid a much higher price for La-Z-Boy thinking we were buying a quality product. WE WILL NEVER BUY ANY OF THEIR GARBAGE AGAIN.

I had a chair that was broken down and it needed to be replaced. I went to La-Z-Boy and asked them to help me find a chair. They were very friendly, helpful and nice. The delivery guys delivered the chair and left, and they were also pleasant. It might have been a little bit too expensive for the quality, but it’s fine. It also had an odor to it, but that’s mostly gone now. Everything was great and it was a good experience.

From sales to delivery everything was perfect with La-Z-Boy. And even now that we're trying to figure buying something more they respond and they call. We had a very good experience. I'm in sales for a living as well so I appreciate the follow-up and the phone calls. Amy, who was the designer was also fantastic. She's one of the main reasons that we purchased. She came into my house and she helped me with a lot of what was current like certain things I may not have picked to match. My house is an open floor plan and I didn't want the same rug on my living room, dining room and sitting area but they had to coordinate as well. So she looked at everything with me and helped me make some of those decisions and that was a very big help. She was a sweetheart.
It was snowing the day of the delivery and the delivery team brought in blankets to put on my floor and they made sure they clean their feet. They positioned all my furniture and they made sure we were happy before they left. By far probably the best delivery we've ever had was through La-Z-Boy. And I'm picky. We've had Rowe Furniture prior to La-Z-Boy which has an excellent quality. The reason we decided to get rid of it was it was just out of style. But when we looked at Rowe again they're astronomically priced above La-Z-Boy. So we looked at La-Z-Boy's reviews, went in, found the furniture and saw price-wise that it was fair for the quality we're getting.

La-Z-Boy's sales rep was very friendly and helpful. We kind of put a hold on our purchase for about a month and a half because we weren’t going to be here. And when we got back and called them we got it delivered in a day or two. The cost was good because it was on sale. And I got a little better than what I paid for. The only problem is we’ve got hard floors and the furniture slides around. We’ve tried to find a solution for that. We’ve added some stuff on the bottom but it still kind of slides around. But we've been using La-Z-Boy for 40 years because I like the way they hold up and how they sit. They're very comfortable. They seem to last quite a long time. I usually pass on my old ones to my son and we’re still using them. We have had other recliners and there’s just no comparison. So buy a La-Z-Boy and do not even try the other ones.

I'm 54 and getting old so I decided to get a recliner. I started shopping around and ended up going to La-Z-Boy in Harrisburg where I found the chair I liked. It has been three weeks since I've had it. The store in Harrisburg had a lot of products. I went to Wolf Furniture which they may only have three La-Z-Boys and the service wasn't very good either. But when I got to La-Z-Boy, they helped me right away and got me looking at different chairs. It was a good experience. I may have spent $1,400 but it was worthwhile. I worked with Steve, the manager, and he was good. He explained different things on the leather, in which the recliner was made of, and how La-Z-Boy had a patent on a four-sided box at the bottom of it. He said that no other recliner has four sides. Also, I'm 6'3" and he said that I needed a chair that is going to have a high back so that when I sit on it, it fits me. I thought all chairs were the same but this La-Z-Boy recliner fits me well.
The delivery team showed up when they said they would. So far, the recliner is good and I'm pleased with it. I wanted a chair that I could swivel and rock. It was $1,000 more than some of the ones that I looked at but La-Z-Boy has quality products. This recliner would last at least 10 years with the way I take care of things. I enjoy going home in the evening and sitting on it. I would buy La-Z-Boy again and would strongly recommend them to others.

I was looking for new living room furniture, and I couldn’t find what I wanted in some of the other furniture stores. I realized that the La-Z-Boy store that used to be closer to me has been gone for a while. I bought a recliner from them way back 13 years ago, which was my first purchase. So when someone told me there was one in another town, I took a ride over there to see if I could find anything I liked. Their sales rep, Nancy, was terrific. She was very helpful. I went there with my sister in law, both of us looking for furniture, and Nancy was able to nicely help both of us, show us all about the choices with materials, what we could do, and she introduced us to the designer.
It’s all been very good. The designer was wonderful, and I found that everybody in the store, anybody I talked to has been quite helpful. I never felt pressured to buy anything, and they helped me find my way around and leading me towards what I said I wanted to do with my living room. They told me I would be notified when the furniture was ready and then I could schedule a delivery. My concern was to make sure it was in before Christmas, and they assured me it would be.

We got our new La-Z-Boy furniture about three weeks ago and my husband and I are pleased with it. We'd gotten a lot of compliments on it as far as the look and the feel of it. We purchased a sofa, two chairs, an Ottoman and pillow. We were moving into a home and were getting rid of old furniture so we bought new ones. Diana, the sales rep, was really good. When I walked in and we started doing the fabric color, I was a little overwhelmed. But she made it easy. She asked me what colors I wanted and I told her. Then, she started pulling fabrics and the ones that she pulled were the ones that we went with. We didn't even look at any other colors. It was like she knew what I wanted and she put them right there on the table. And the delivery team was good too. They carefully brought it in and placed the furniture where we asked them to. They also cleaned up all the packing that came in.
Though we weren't expecting to spend as much as we did, looking back at some of the other places we went to, the quality would have not been as good. We would've spent less than half but we’d probably be not as happy. We were able to customize with the way we wanted to with La-Z-Boy, not the way the stores wanted to put it together. And the sofa didn't have the individual pillows on the back. It's one solid piece and I love it. I didn't see any of that in the other stores. This was the best furniture shopping experience. And if ever I needed more, we would definitely go back and purchase again from them.

I love the sofa sleeper that I bought from La-Z-Boy about 18 months ago. I had spine surgery and I slept on it while I was recovering for about a week. It’s a comfy couch that you would want to curl up on. I also got a mattress for it that blows up and it's really soft. So I purchased another one for a condo and it’s a little stiffer than the one I originally bought. So I have somebody coming next week to check on it because the fabric is really stiff and doesn’t even feel comfortable to sit on. But I love what I recently bought better than the sofa sleeper because of the style. I got chairs and an ottoman from them, too.
I've been purchasing from La-Z-Boy for 20 years and I've been to three different locations. Two in Indianapolis and one in Naples, Florida. Their reps were all very helpful. When I walked in and I didn’t have my old order form, they were able to get back into the system and look up my order. I like to buy a lot of accessories like lamps and pillows at La-Z-Boy, too, but they’re not consistent from store to store in Indianapolis. If I saw something in one store and wanted to buy it later but I decided to go to a closer store, that store would not know what the other store had because they're totally set up differently. So if I have to return something, I have to take it back to the store that I originally got it from.

We already got love seats with consoles in them like in a theater, so we got this La-Z-Boy recliner to match the two. Both their representatives, Chris and the young lady, were very good. Also, I requested a half hour call before the delivery because I had to leave work to meet the delivery crew and they did. I barely beat them there. They got the furniture out, got it unwrapped and set up and they explained how to operate it and away they went. So far, the quality of the furniture seems good. The cost seems high, though, so we hope that we are paying for quality. We enjoyed La-Z-Boy enough that we came back to get the recliner. The folks there were helpful and the process was easy.

I’m a former Soldier who served 24 years on Active Duty with 8 Deployments all over the world. In 2012 My wife and I moved to Huntsville and Built our life long dream home. We saved and saved for new furniture which was the first time since about 2004 that we had new furniture. Around 2016 we decided to go with what we thought was top of the line. Leather Sofa $3200, Leather Love Seat $2200, Leather Recliner $2100, Leather Seat back Chair $1500. TOTAL: $9000 in Brand New Top Of the Line Leather.
Well guess what. IT’S CRAP and I’m livid. The Leather on the Sofa and Loveseat appear to be peeling and becoming discolored like a bright Orange. This Sofa and Loveseat have hardly even been used at all and for this supposed TOP OF LINE Leather Furniture to be doing this it MUST BE FAKE LEATHER!!! I travel on Business very often and my wife called to use our extended Warranty and was told that it didn’t cover wear and tear. That’s Great - because it’s not wear and tear - this is a Crap Leather Furniture and for the salespeople to tell my wife that is absolutely insane. Can any Manager from La-Z-Boy look me in the face and tell me that in less than 3 years that their $9000 Suite of Top of the Line Leather peeled and that would be acceptable to them? I’ll be going to the store tomorrow. I will update this thread after I discuss with a Manager.

I was at La-Z-Boy buying furniture for my mother who needed a lift chair, and while I was there, I saw something else. Everything was on sale, and I was lucky I got there when they were just opening. The sales rep was very good. He held the door open and he was charming. He was also honest and accommodating. However, when I called and had the furniture delivered, it was a little late. I was told that I would get it in seven days and I didn't. Nobody was calling to tell me that, and then when I called, I was told, "We could schedule your delivery right now." I wondered how long this furniture was ready and nobody had called. It wasn’t a problem for me, but it could be a problem at another time or for someone else.
During the delivery, the delivery guys had a very hard time getting the chair down. They had to take the door off but they got the job done and it all worked out. We're still expecting my mother's lift chair so we'll see what happens with that. But so far, I'm very pleased with my furniture. I was very happy with La-Z-Boy. Seems like their quality is as good as it is anywhere. They also seemed efficient, and they knew what they were doing.

The quality of the furniture is great. The color is what I expected and so is the area rug. I asked for extra gel in the cushions, they did that. I had to go back and forth to the store a couple times though, to get samples. Even if I had requested samples, but they never came. I had to keep borrowing the store's because I had someone else help me decide what I wanted to do with window treatments, and they were okay with that. I paid off in cash when I made my final payment. I had to change my appointments a couple times then the rep finally said, "I can come to the house,” and she did. Delivery service called to set up the time. They got here early and were very courteous about bringing the items in and setting it up the way I had designed it with the young lady in the store.
Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired, though. If they could come to my house to look at everything and do a design, then I don’t understand why they wouldn’t want to follow-up, because I don’t know if I need to buy other furniture. I’m not that pleased with La-Z-Boy because to this day, I have not received a formal thank you note from anyone at the store. If that’s the best they can do, then it’s terrible. There are stores that not only do they do a thank you, they send a gift card to go buy yourself a cup of coffee. For the amount of furniture that I bought, I’ve heard nothing. I would never buy anything else from them and would probably never tell my friends to go to them, too. I’m unhappy with the customer service.

We built a cabin and I walked into the La-Z-Boy store knowing the item that I wanted because I had viewed it somewhere else. I went about my item, saw it on the floor and said that I wanted it. The rep even set up the delivery for me. The delivery didn't take very long. The guys were there when they said they were going to be there and they helped with getting it into an enclosed trailer for me. They were nice to do that because they certainly did the helping. The quality of the furniture is great. It's definitely what we needed there in the cabin. La-Z-Boy has great quality for the price. I would purchase from there again.

I purchased a La-Z-Boy sofa and oversized chair. Within weeks, the furniture began to pill. After a few months, the furniture was wrinkling wherever we sat and there was a dent and wrinkling where we rest our arm. The worst part was that all of the cushions began shifting within the fabric. I noticed 2 thin layers of foam on top of the large one. Those layers started to move, causing this. I contacted the store I purchased it from, they sent someone to take pictures. I finally had to call 2 weeks later and was told it was normal wear and tear. Also, I was told to use a fuzz shaver for pilling! I tried it and it wouldn’t even remove the pilling. I was so upset that I took a cushion and more pics (showing the cushion layers shifting) to the store.
The customer service manager contacted La-Z-Boy and they said it was because of the fabric I picked out! Why would they offer that fabric? It didn’t even explain the cushion problem. They denied the claim again! The furniture store is giving me a credit minus 15% for living with this for 7 months! Can’t believe La-Z-Boy refuses to even stand behind their product. My furniture looks older than the 10 year old furniture it replaced. It’s embarrassing when people come over and see it. One of my friends asked “did you buy that THIS year?” If not for the store, I would have taken this to Small Claims Court.

We have a La-Z-Boy recliner for 10 years at home. We're remodeling so we decided to get a sectional sofa, chairs, tables and accessory pillows from La-Z-Boy. Their sales rep was professional. She was extremely knowledgeable and has great insight. She was able to take what I wanted and find pieces that would work for an area. She went beyond and helped us picked out paints and helped us with some woodworking ideas as well as a mantle. My delivery experience was wonderful. The quality of the furniture was excellent. So far, we've only had it for four weeks but it was nice that the consultant was here with the delivery. But there was a problem with two of the lamp shades and the consultant noticed it even though we didn't and she proactively said, "These are not up to the standard of La-Z-Boy." and she less them but put in a purchase order for two brand new ones and it's going to be brought to the house as soon as they come in.

I ordered a custom built recliner 10-30-17, was told it would take 4-6 weeks, they delivered the recliner WITHOUT the swivel base I paid for. I've had to call 4 times and finally I am now being told I have to wait an additional 2 weeks for the swivel base to be in stock. This is not the way to treat someone who spent over $2000.00 on a chair.

This could have been a 5-star experience but no matter how good the furniture is, things happen. We ordered a whole family room set of furniture, sofa, loveseat and 2 electric recliners. We placed the order of Nov 4th and waited since we did pick custom fabrics. Delivery came on Dec 15 and everything was beautiful but as the delivery man was putting one of the recliners together, we heard a loud snap and the footrest was broken, small plastic parts left in our carpeting. We refused the chair and expected an immediate response as promised. After 4 days I went to the store and checked status and no repair noted. About 3 days later Fritz called and said "good news/bad news" the chair is repaired but it can't be delivered for another week which puts it after Christmas.
As a customer, I felt like my chair should have been a priority and delivered ASAP since it was broken by the delivery person. Just very disappointed to be put off while others are having deliveries. We love the chair we have and can't wait for the other chair to finally be delivered in good repair. I know this is not life or death but someone should have made this chair a priority and made an effort to get it to us sooner. The whole plan was to have it for the holidays.

This store would have gotten zero stars but I had to insert one star to write this review. I ordered two recliners and a table that was sale priced. The table was supposed to be delivered to the Lawrenceville store from another store and the chairs would be ordered and ready in 5-6 weeks. They were supposed to call me when the table was ready for pick-up. This has to be the worst customer service/managerial response that I have ever received.
After waiting 2-3 weeks for their call, I called the order pick-up department and got a recorded message saying their line was busy and that they would call me back in 24 hours. (Why would it take 24 hours? Do they consider themselves more important than a doctor?) When they called back, they referred me to the store sales personnel. I was informed that the table was at the warehouse another 20 miles away and that I would need to pick it up there, after they had assured me that I could pick it up in Lawrenceville and I had already paid for it.
When I asked to talk to a manager, he assured me that he would get the table delivered to Lawrenceville as soon as possible and assured me that he would call me back immediately. After two weeks, I was still waiting for that call from the manager. I called the store and they said that it was in. When my husband went to the store to pick up the table, the same manager could not find the table. He delegated the problem to the sales staff who offered to sell us other tables for more, or tables that did not match the style or color that we had picked out. We finally managed to at least get our money back, but we are not satisfied. We bought a table with a built in charging station for electronics and we bought it on sale, but we were not compensated in any way except for a return of our purchase price. We expected more from the store manager. We are supposed to pick up our two chairs tomorrow from Lawrenceville, but who knows???

We had Nigel the designer come out to our house because we weren't sure if we could fit what we wanted. I trust my measuring skills, but when I start trying to put them into the configuration of a sectional sofa, then I don’t trust it anymore. That was one of the reasons why we ended up going with La-Z-Boy because they offer that free service, whereas one of their competitors that we bought a lot of furniture from doesn’t offer that service. We ordered the sofa six weeks ago and I got a little worried that we weren't going to get the sofa in six weeks, but we did. The delivery itself was fine, but we're missing one of the items that we purchased and it's not going to be here until maybe two weeks into the New Year, which we weren't very happy with. But at least we have the sofa. It's quality furniture and an easy purchase.

I bought a townhouse and needed a bunch of stuff. I'm very pleased with La-Z-Boy. The sales representatives were very helpful. One drawback would've been the delivery of the furniture. I bought a throw rug, and it had a lot of dust so I had to return it. But everything else was fantastic.

We purchased a large rocker recliner 3 years ago at a cost of $1000 not including the warranty. Something broke about 3 weeks ago (throwing my husband sideways onto the floor). We called the store since we had a warranty, for repair. First we had to call Guardsman, who sent a form that we had to fill out stating the issue. This had to be mailed back to Guardsman and they were to contact us. 2 weeks later no call just an email to say they received the form. We called them and Guardsman stated a repair company would call us. About 3 days later, repair company makes appt 10 days later. They called yesterday to say they will be assessing the damage only to report back to Guardsman that will decide how to proceed and order parts. So far it has been a month of a broken recliner sitting in my living room. I don't know how long it will go from here. I expected better from a quality company.

Our experience with La-Z-Boy has been very positive. I ended up working with Becca, and all three times that I was in the store, it was great with her. She knew what she was doing and she really helped us a lot. When I went to the store the first time and talked with her, I told her what my needs were. I didn’t have a really large living space. She immediately told me about a new line of furniture that had a smaller profile and that was coming up on La-Z-Boy. She kept me posted as to when they were going to get some pieces in the store. She followed through as she said she would. I really appreciated that because that doesn’t always happen. She seemed to be on top of things. The follow-up and customer service helped me make my purchase through La-Z-Boy because she was good about doing what she said she was going to do.
I could’ve spent less money somewhere else, but I knew what I was getting from La-Z-Boy. Their products have really good quality. My La-Z-Boy couch that was just replaced had nothing wrong with it. It was a leather couch and their leather is very high quality. It was 14 years old and it was still in very good shape. And the mechanism for the recliner was still functioning very well. I would absolutely recommend La-Z-Boy to people who buy things like my husband and I do. We’re still waiting to receive our recliner chair but we received our couch and I’m very pleased with it.

I bought a La-Z-Boy leather recliner sofa and a love seat at the end of 2012 with an extended warranty which is good till the end of 2017 from JC Perreault-Kirkland. In April 2017, we noticed scratches on the headrests of two seats. I called customer service and after a month and a half of negotiation, I was told that it is due to oil from the hair (body oil), that it is natural and happens sometimes with some leathers, and it wasn't covered by the warranty. All the store could offer is to take back the defected couch and I will have to choose something instead and I will get about $400 credit on the new one (depreciation calculated on the usage) or $300 store credit.
Since it was only the head, and since I didn't want 2 different furniture in the same room, I accepted to keep it and take the $300 credit and I was asked to sign a waiver that I will keep the sofa as is. In July, we noticed that the whole seat was peeling and we can see the wool/material underneath. When I called back the store, they said that I accepted to keep it as is and there is nothing to do about it since I signed the letter. YES I accepted to keep it based on the info I was given; When I contacted La-Z-Boy, they insisted that I accepted to keep them as is. After searching around, it appeared that there was a defected batch sold in Quebec; the product was discontinued and was taken off the showroom.
I hope that whoever bought the same furniture like me didn't fall in the trap. It's a shame that two major and big names like La-Z-Boy and JC Perreault can't take responsibility for their products. And again, maybe those who used them more than we did, found out about the defect early and got them changed. I have to say that we didn't use the furniture much, they were not in our major sitting area, so they were not much in use and that's why it took so long for the defect to appear.
The longest I sat on the sofa was for about 30 minutes when I had to talk to the La-Z-Boy customer service manager in the States. By the way, those were not the only La-Boy furniture we bought; I have 2 leather armchairs I bought in 2002 from Sears which we use all the time and they are still in very good condition + we had previously bought and used a fabric sofa and love seat that we used for over 10 years and didn't have problems with. That confirms that the newest ones we got had a manufacturer's defect.

The reps let us walk around the store and didn't bother us right away, which was nice. Because sometimes when you go furniture shopping, people follow you around the store which is annoying. The sales guy that we dealt with was really helpful and knowledgeable. He seemed to know a lot about what was going on, but his personality was a little bit abrasive. His personality could turn some people off because he was a little bit over the top. But overall, the whole process was very easy and they explained it very well to us. Their products are definitely more expensive but you're paying for the quality that you're going to receive. We have recommended La-Z-Boy to my parents and they went there a week later and bought furniture for their house.

We have purchased La-Z-Boy recliners over the years, some at a La-Z-Boy Gallery, some at other retail stores. We purchased a La-Z-Boy recliner for my husband in October 2017, he went to the gallery, sat in the recliner, reclined in it and we ordered one. We picked it up after almost 2 months, got it home, put it together, and it is the most uncomfortable chair ever! It is a high leg, stationary chair. You cannot sit upright in it without a pillow at your shoulders because of the way the lower back cushion pushes your abdomen out. The headrest cushion is a good 6 to 8 inches further back. I can see where a rocker/recliner may do this, however, a stationary recliner should allow you to sit or recline.
We contacted the gallery immediately upon putting the chair together (within the 72 hour period) and was told 'too bad, it was a special order and we cannot do anything about it.' La-Z-Boy does allow returns within a 72 hour period of pick up of ordered furniture - according to your return policy. At this point, we don't want to deal with the Champaign, Illinois gallery. We want to return the recliner and get our money back. If I need to dispute this with our credit card I am willing to do that. The Champaign, Illinois store said to go ahead and try it, however, they will have to review the dispute and will deny it. Very unhappy with the service and now we have a $900 (yes it was on sale) leather recliner that will sit in the corner gathering dust. I don't know about most of you but I cannot afford to throw that kind of money away.

We bought a La-Z-Boy, recliner for $2369. We were really excited. Got our recliner and found, it leans forward, so much that the leg rest constantly gets stuck on the floor when trying to recline. Called out rep to look at. He wouldn't listen, treated my chair rough, saying "you have to throw yourself back", not to have it drag on floor. I said no one's arms are long enough to do what you say. The rep totally dismissed me, said on way out rudely "Try to have a nice day." I'm not the problem. The chair is.
My wife called in talked to the office. She came home, and told me the lady was very rude, saying "it is what it is", and "Try to have a nice day." I find that the response we both got, not knowing what the other experience was until that night, both disturbing, and at the least unprofessional. This seems to be the "you're dumb" culture at the Rockford office, if our experience is typical. And Yes, Of course I will follow up with receipt if asked, just don't have a scanner right now.

I had a very nice experience buying from La-Z-Boy. The girl who waited on me was wonderful. I always remember La-Z-Boy being a different company and they must’ve stepped up their game because it was very nice. Their stuff is very nice. It’s not what they call, “Throw away stuff.” It’s good quality. But because I can’t make these decisions by myself, I started out with Bassett since they had interior designers which I need desperately. The girl on Bassett was very nice and she worked up something for me. But I had to compare it to something. I got her plan and they are very expensive. I was going to order two chairs, a sofa, and a rug, but they were twice as much as what I paid for at La-Z-Boy.
La-Z-Boy had a great sale going on, so I went there instead and I talked to Tanya. I didn’t think it was going to work out. But the next thing you know, everything was falling into place. And summed up, I was leaving there with the whole place furnished for $3,000 less than what I was getting. I was getting so much more. Tanya did a wonderful job. Also, the men who delivered them were very nice, friendly and accommodating. Put everything together for me. They like what they were doing. So, it was a good experience all the way around. All my friends love my new furniture. And I tell them where I got it.

At Art Van, they had the La-Z-Boy there and then my brother said “Why don’t you go to a La-Z-Boy store. I know this woman over there. She’s great.” And when I went to the one in Oak Park, she beat the price of Art Van. She was also wonderful, very concerned and wasn't ignorant. If I ever had to buy a furniture again, it definitely would be La-Z-Boy for sure. The quality is great. Because I bought furniture from all different places and I’ve never bought from La-Z-Boy, my brother always kept telling me and my mother that my whole family buys from La-Z-Boy. I’m so happy that I did. I’m very happy with my sectional sofa. Everything is great.

I bought a new house and needed some new furniture. I purchased a sofa and a recliner from La-Z-Boy and the sales reps were very helpful. They gave me plenty of options to choose from without overwhelming me. I was told that what I’ve selected would be a custom order and it would take longer. The timeframe that was given was appropriate as well as accurate. They gave a call 10 minutes before the delivery. I love the quality of the furniture. It's also comfortable and it seems durable. I like it a lot. I probably spent $50 to $100 more than I had anticipated, but to me it was worth it. It was a positive experience.

Don't waste your money on La-Z-Boy products. I bought the extended warranty and after 2 years the leather has worn off one of the arms of my leather love seat. The response from La-Z-Boy, "Sorry we do not cover wear and tear"??? Great response from a company this large. I had 10 years of wear on a much cheaper leather couch by another manufacturer. I guess La-Z-Boy doesn't give a damn after you spend $ 2500.00 with them.

We bought a home in Gualala, California and selected La-Z-Boy to furnish our home. We entered the store in Santa Rosa, California in July 2017. After returning two leather recliners that were defective, we chose a recliner couch. We were told there would be a lengthy delay in receiving the couch. We have a home in Maine we returned to. While in Maine we received word the couch would be delivered. My wife secured a plane ticket and returned to California. The couch was delivered. It was defective. One side wouldn’t recline. It was loaded on the truck and returned. My wife returned to Maine. I called La-Z-Boy in Santa Rosa and spoke to William, the store manager to inquire as to why we received a defective couch? Is there no quality control? Didn’t anyone simply try both sides before releasing it?
William informed me that he would ask questions and call me back in three days. He never called. Instead, more than a week later a service dept representative called and stated that a new couch was coming. A month later we both returned to California. The new couch was delivered and the same side of the “new” couch did not recline. Then the two delivery men astound us by informing us that it’s the same couch, but repaired. Not a new couch. It didn’t work. Same side would not recline correctly. Then they rolled it over to show us the work and replaced parts to prove it was not a new couch. We were livid, especially when told it just needed to be broken in. It never broke in. We called again. Told we would get a return call “tomorrow” became 5 days later when WE called the store.
Our original salesman Scott agreed we needed a new working couch, but it was out of his hands. We have been told since that the service department determines who gets a replacement, not the store personnel. So, serviceman Tony arrives at our home. He insists it’s a new couch, not a repaired one, even though it weirdly has the exact same problem. He brings a can of silicon, sprays the underside, and leaves. It is now December. Four months after we paid for it. The couch still does not recline properly. Sometimes it opens, sometimes it doesn’t. It fails when my wife tries to open it, when I sit on that side, when three sets of guests have tried to open it. We have called and called ad nauseam. We never have a return call, and always have to call back.
We have been insulted and disrespected by service and store staff repeatedly. The worst comment was from serviceman Tony who said that it’s our fault and our error. Salesman Scott told my wife we have to call the national headquarters In Michigan. So my wife got up at 5 am to call them when they opened. She called the department Scott said to call. She related to customer care, the entire story. The representative Ashley, said she would call the Santa Rosa store to get more information, and call us back. Of course, she never did. So a week later my wife called, only to be told, there is nothing they could do. That’s their customer care. So my wife started over again with the store.
Salesman Scott again said that it’s out of the store’s hands because the service department actually runs everything and makes those decisions. He then said he would call serviceman Tony’s boss, a man named Mike, and call us back. Scott did not call us back. So a week later my wife called salesman Scott who informs her that he did not call Mike. Salesman Scott told my wife he would definitely call Mike and call us back. That was 5 days ago. No call back again. It’s beyond belief that this company has no ethics and the behavior is to just wear the customer down and go in circles. It’s now five months since we entered the store. We spent $11000 there and regret every penny and regret ever locating this company. The way this company has conducted itself is unacceptable, unprofessional, and disgraceful.

We've had La-Z-Boy furniture at home for 20 years. We did a renovation to our house so we purchased ottoman, accessories, tables, a power recliner and a power sectional sofa from La-Z-Boy. Everybody was fantastic. Their reps were extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. I had a designer come out to the house and took all the measurements and I had the in-store appointment. She was outstanding. However, the delivery was the only thing that wasn't outstanding. I ordered a sectional in the leather and I was told the Monday before Thanksgiving that it would be delivered within four to six weeks. And now, Jen told me that it won't be in until March.

La-Z-Boy could have more staff. Yesterday, my husband and son went to pick up the recliner we bought when it finally came in and there’s only one sales associate there working behind the desk. That sales associate was also training somebody at the same time so they weren’t available to answer questions from any other customer. Also, when we bought that recliner, the sales representative was new so she wasn’t sure of a lot of things. She had to keep checking on things to answer our questions. Then, we purchased the recliner on Thursday, the 16th, and it was supposed to be delivered on the following Tuesday which would have been the 21st, but it did not come. We found out that she never ordered it and somebody else caught it the following week. So we were two weeks delayed getting it. I got the feeling that part of it was because her training wasn’t complete when she hit the floor on her own.
We also bought a recliner from La-Z-Boy last year just like the recliner we bought this year. As I get older, I have a lot of aches and pains, and with it, I can position myself to relieve some of that pain and same for my husband. Aside from the recliner, we also purchased a power sofa and some accessories from La-Z-Boy. We’re extremely pleased with the quality of the furniture so far, but the cost is a little steep.

La-Z-Boy caught my eye with all the arrangements that they had in the store, and I purchased one of the arrangements. My whole living room is La-Z-Boy. I’ve purchased a recliner, a recliner couch, a table, two-end tables, and one big unit. I got my entertainment center all in that. I’m very content with my La-Z-Boy products. My coffee table was scratched so I sent it back. They took it back and we turned it with no problem. Should I find somebody that’s looking for something, I’d definitely recommend La-Z-Boy.

After having a problem with our sofa, we received a better than expected outcome from La-Z-Boy. I thank and credit the York PA manager, Mary **, for acting on our behalf. Not only were we given a full credit for the sofa, La-Z-Boy offered a full credit for the matching love seat. There was no problem with the love seat, but it allowed us to repurchase a matching set. I do feel La-Z-Boy has quality furniture, and they have now backed it up with quality service. Thank you Mary!

I contacted La-Z-Boy on November 19, 2017 regarding our sofa which was peeling apart. I heard nothing back from them. We went into the showroom and asked for help. One of the sales reps called customer care for us. Evidently they feel our pet scratched the sofa and caused it to peel. The sales rep agreed with us when looking at the picture that it was peeling apart. The small scratch is nowhere close to where the arm is peeling apart. It's on a different section of the sofa. The footrest is also peeling.
The most frustrating part is La-Z-Boy did not have the courtesy to even contact us. Our dogs do not get on the furniture. They saw a picture of a dog in one of the photos and made their assumption. I also think it is very telling they do not even sell this type of finish on their furniture anymore. I asked them when I bought it if it was durable. I was assured it is. Obviously it is not. This couch is approximately 1 1/2 years old. Also, we bought the extended warranty. I was told to work it out with the warranty company, Ultra Shield. La-Z-Boy has the worst customer service and sold us a product that was obviously defective. Again, they discontinued the style and the fabric. La-Z-Boy has the pictures and tag numbers.

1.0 star rating 12/16/2017. I HATE LA Z BOY!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WORSE THAN THE PRODUCT. My husband and I purchased 2 rocker recliner chairs from La-Z-Boy furniture in Cerritos Ca. We had bought from La-Z-Boy before and were happy, but never again. Our chairs with such bad padding and support we could feel the wood when you sat down.
I called and found out that they no longer use quality foam for padding but a blown fiber fill. It is so weak they only guarantee the support for one year. They suggest you add or manipulate the fiber fill periodically to keep it from showing wear. Of course they only do that for free. AFTER the first year that it can be a $130.00 or more charge for labor, parts and manufacturing fee. Such a rip. Had I looked at the reviews I would never have bought from them. Word to the wise you can only return merchandise the first 3 DAYS unless it's customized in any way, including fabric. THEY WILL NOT TAKE IT BACK AT ALL. Our chair is already starting to shed and look fuzzy it's only been 2 weeks. I HATE LA-Z-BOY!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WORSE THAN THE PRODUCT.

In the 50 some years I have been married, my husband likes those big straddle lounge chairs that go back. And I was tired of having these ugly leather things in my house. That's exactly why I went to La-Z-Boy and I ended up with a room of furniture that I was not planning on getting. I felt a little pressured on the purchases. I have a rug that I'm not happy with. The size of it is too small. I ordered it without seeing and feeling it in person and it ended up being a shag. I went back last week and looked at other rugs. Their choice in rugs is horrendous. They are so ugly. I could not find one rug to replace this rug out of La-Z-Boy's whole store. I have to meet with them again but it's just very unfortunate that I felt very pressured by the two people.
They also brought the wrong coffee table. It was the wrong color. So I called the next morning after I had come in from New Jersey and the rep apologized for the mistake. It took two weeks and I have the table now. So they've been very good that way. I ordered this furniture thinking that the inside of my house would be renovated and they kept it a lot longer for me. So I was very happy with that aspect.
When I got the chair, I asked what was the rest of the room going to be like. They said they had a designer and they'd come out to the house. That was fine with me because I had just moved into the house. She could arrange how the furniture would look. I went back to the store and it was just like, "Oh you could use this, you could use that." I told them I didn't like the fabric. The fabric choices were very bad. I found one fabric in the store for a chair that I like and I didn't like any others. I told them if they couldn't get the fabric that I liked in the chair then forget it. But they always managed to get something for me.
When it came to the carpet, it looked fine on the screen but I didn't know that it was going to be shag. They said I could return it but the problem is now I have to find something to substitute for and I can't find anything. I'm sure they won't give me a refund but they really should. That's what I'm going to deal with now and I don't like experiences like that. The girl I'm dealing with now is very pleasant and the quality of the products is fine, but I don't know if I would go back to La-Z-Boy for another purchase.

We had some old furniture that had long given up the ghost and needed to be replaced. La-Z-Boy had a showroom and we stopped by. We looked at what they had there and we liked what we saw. In the beginning, their sales reps just stood there. Then as we looked around and started asking questions, they started answering them. The cost is somewhat high but we wound up getting the most expensive thing they had in their showroom. We got the solid leather furniture that fully reclined and has this little remote control to recline with. It's got the lumbar support and the headrest comes up a little bit more with an extra little cushion. We could adjust it to get a lot of different comfort levels. My wife had a bad back so being able to adjust the lumbar to where it was supportive and comfortable was a very big reason why we wound up getting it.
Their delivery team was very good,too. I would expect to see big husky guys like they always show on television but they were small kind of people and I thought they wouldn't be strong enough to deliver the furniture, especially in handling the old couch which was very heavy. But they obviously knew their stuff on how to disassemble it and within about one minute, they were taking the old couch apart which made it really easy to move out and get it out of the way. They had no problems so that was a little surprising. If somebody was going to market, I’d recommend La-Z-Boy.

La-Z-Boy has well-made, long-lasting, comfortable chairs and the cost is well-balanced with the quality. Our La-Z-Boy furniture finally wore out after 20 years and we bought new recliners. We had very good reception over at the store and they were very helpful. The recliners have been delivered entirely on time too.

Everything in my house, in couches, are from the La-Z-Boy. We like their stuff and with La-Z-Boy, you have somebody there that helps you see what goes good with what, and you’re not just out there in limbo. It was a new house, and their designer came in, took the whole thing to coordinate to see what would go best in my home. She was on the money because the material was the same stuff prior to using her, I had been in the store and looked at things and she picked out the same stuff, table-wise, couch-wise, color-wise that I was leaning towards, even the big floor rug. It was just unbelievable because me and my sister went in.
So far, we’ve had no issues with everything we’ve had. And if we have anything, they ride out, they fix it, and they’re done. Their quality is better and price-wise, you’re going to get the same price if you go down the street. I already recommended it to my sister and she went and got some chairs. We had a wonderful experience with La-Z-Boy. They were great to work with.

I purchased a leather love seat and also purchased the extended service plan. The leather on the arm rest has split and has worn away. I was told that my expensive service plan does not cover wear and tear. I'm sorry but the quality of your material should be covered. So Here we go...I will write as many bad reviews as my time allows and I will badmouth your company and your products forever.

We are owners of six La-Z-Boy chairs. Some of it is 20 years old and it still works. The quality has always been excellent. If something breaks, they’re really quick in getting it fixed for you. If it isn’t under warranty, they’d send us a part and my husband will do it. We love La-Z-Boy, so we have absolutely no complaints. We bought at least three sets of chairs at the La-Z-Boy store in San Marcos, and we’ve never had any problems. The delivery team was great. They were on time and called in advance. They gave us a 30 minute-window of when they were going to be here. All in all, I recommend La-Z-Boy and their delivery service very highly. That’s where I’ll go back when I need to buy more furniture.

I recently made a table dresser, a queen bed and some other minor purchase from La-Z-Boy two months ago, and I love it. We already bought a furniture from them four years ago and we loved it as well, so I decided to purchase again. La-Z-Boy is one of the best in the market, and we love the design and the construction is solid too. The sales reps were very professional and they helped us make a decision like there was no issue. Everything went great so we’re happy with them and hopefully we'll go back if we need.

We ordered a sofa from La-Z-Boy in Melbourne Fl. Signed all agreements but they have failed to stick with their agreement. The fabric is not there at the factory and they La-Z-Boy in Melbourne do not know when it will be in. We have waited over 8 weeks and we want our money back!!! They are independent owner from La-Z-Boy and corporate cannot help us!!! Patty the manager refuses to give our money back... They have no idea when the sofa will be in. We kept our end of the bargain by giving half the money upfront. They should keep theirs... 8 weeks and sofa is not complete!!! Order was placed in Oct. They are thieves. Do not ever buy from them... If you are in the store RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!

I recently purchased nine power recliners from La-Z-Boy for business as the other furniture we have were very much in need of replacement. The sales reps we talked to were fantastic and they were absolutely amazing. I am still waiting for the special ordered items to come in. I have had one delivery whatever was in stock and that went fine. The quality is great. Also, Dawn was incredible. She did everything she could to work with me and work within our budget. It was time-consuming going back and forth, and the two ladies, Dawn and Claire, were patient and helpful too.

The sofa in our rental property was getting worn out and the tenants were asking for something new. We wanted something dependable so we bought one from La-Z-Boy. It was a sale item and we're really happy with what we got for what we paid for. The sales rep was helpful and was there when we needed her. We're only down in Florida for a limited time and they went out of their way to get the furniture delivered before we had to leave. They went above and beyond and we're completely satisfied. When it's time to get some furniture for our home, we plan on seeing La-Z-Boy again.

We’ve had La-Z-Boy furniture in our home for 20 years now. I bought a recliner years ago and then I had to get a new sofa to fit the spot I needed. I had good interactions with the sales representative and he was easy to talk to. The furniture was delivered and the delivery experience has been very good. Our other furniture was over 10 years old and it was worn. We recently bought an ottoman, sofa, recliner chair as well as two end tables from La-Z-Boy. We've also had La-Z-Boy furniture in our home for 20 years. At the showroom, we worked with a lady named Harriet, and she was very helpful regarding pairing up fabrics. We met with her three times, and she was very busy sometimes but made time to fit us in. The delivery guys were also very good, prompt, and friendly. I had just had new carpet installed so I asked them to take their shoes off before they enter the room where they were going to put the furniture, and they were very accommodating.
My husband is having a bit of a hard time breaking in the sofa. It's not as soft as he would like it to be, but it's getting there. Also, I have an issue with one of the end tables which appears scratched. I'm sure it didn't happen during the delivery, and I don't know if it's something that is inherent in the actual wood. But I don't like it and my eye goes right to it. It's like a rustic look but one part looks chipped. And the servicemen offered to take it back if I wasn't happy with it. But I had Thanksgiving coming, so I'll have someone come to address it next week.

The La-Z-Boy sales rep was very helpful and patient, not pushy, and she showed us all the different options. She was very knowledgeable and informative about her product. She was the best. We bought two chairs and a sectional and had them delivered. I own a business also and I have never encountered more polite, kind, and careful people as the two men who delivered my furniture. I have three different delivery dates over the last seven weeks, and they were absolutely careful on the new things that I bought, my things that were already here already, and my pets. And I will buy from La-Z-Boy again for that reason. One of the men was Jimmy, and I would request for him again.
The furniture's quality is very good and it's well worth what I paid for. However, a piece of the sectional was missing and it took six weeks for it to get delivered. It was a special order and that may be standard in the industry, but I hated how long it took. It's not going to stop me from buying from them again, though. I had a really good experience overall.

I’ve bought La-Z-Boys all my life for the last 40 years and I recently purchased a La-Z-Boy power loveseat because I needed one. Their sales reps were great and took care of me, and it felt great. The delivery team was great as well. They were friendly and joking and we had a good time. So far, the quality of the furniture is good except for the last one that I got. We had a lot of problems with it and they came out three or four times and tried to fix it but they couldn’t fix it so they gave me a new one. I’m hoping that this one won’t make a noise like the other one did. Everybody at La-Z-Boy was great. The service had been tremendous and the girl down where we bought it from was outstanding and took care of us every time. I’m very satisfied with the way that everything was handled.

My experience with La-Z-Boy was pretty lousy. I went into store in response to the ads. They didn’t have any of them and they didn’t know anything about the advertisement. I bought a chair that I couldn’t use and then, I had to go back and forth returning it. Finally, I got one that I brought home that would fit where I had it, and we ordered three pads for the handles. We called and asked where the items were. They said they'd be sent to the store and we'd go pick them up. So it was not fun. I took the other chair back after about three days and they picked it up but they charged me $250 for stocking fee and another $150. We paid about two times as much as we meant to pay for a chair that works for us and part of that was my fault but they didn't meet me halfway. I give the lady who was trying to help me an A+ rating because she did her best to satisfy me. But I don’t think they did as well as they could’ve done. I’ll go someplace else next time.

I'm an Upholsterer and a Client asked me to reupholster her leather La-Z-Boy recliner that was built in 2013, according to the tag in the chair. There was a hole in the leather on the headrest from wear after only four years. So right off the bat, the leather is not the best. After taking this chair down to frame, to reupholster it, I found a frame made out of cheap particle board, not hardwood. The frame is everything when it comes to furniture. Without a good frame it's just junk. It was so badly made, I could not upholster it. My Client paid 1,900.00 for this chair. I understand cost cutting measures, but La-Z-Boy should be ashamed.

Had an appointment for a technician to check the sectional we bought just about 6 months ago. Understandably, the weather is bad today but we at least expected La-z-Boy to send someone right after the storm is gone. Our appointment is ahead of those who have appointments next week but apparently we have to fall behind them. My family is leaving the country for two years because of military duty. I will continue to express my dissatisfaction until I get this resolved which will be a minimum of 2 years from now.

My parents have a complete La-Z-Boy couch and recliners in their vacation home. One of the vacationers who rented the place did some damage to it and La-Z-Boy stood behind their product. That impressed me. My parents also have La-Z-Boy in their house and it lasted so much longer than the recliner couch I had which was a knock-off brand more or less.
We came out to the La-Z-Boy store and felt good about the experience. Their reps were very respectful and helpful. We got a sectional and to my understanding, their sectionals are custom-ordered. We wanted to try to utilize as much space as we could. We have three children and we know that they’re going to end up bringing their friends, so we figured we might as well set up for it. Going by past experiences, I am very pleased with La-Z-Boy. It’s more expensive to get a La-Z-Boy, but if the quality is there and they stand behind their product, then I’d rather support something like that than an outfit that I’m going to have to replace in a couple of years.

I was replacing another La-Z-Boy that I had for 17 years and had worn out. I ordered a chair but when I got it here, I didn't like it and the sales manager Pat made it very easy for me to come in, pick another one that was just right and to exchange the one I didn't like. She was the best I've seen in customer service in a long time. The delivery team was also very accommodating. They were in and out, and did a beautiful set-up. I'm very happy with what I got. The cost was appropriate and the quality is excellent. The entire experience was a joy and I tell all my friends to go to La-Z-Boy so it's good customer referral.

We have had nothing but trouble with this business from the time we purchased our $6000 worth of furniture. I was so excited to be able to buy from La-Z-Boy this time but unfortunately had not read the reviews on the company prior to purchasing. We gave our old furniture away with the understanding from the salesman Chris that all of the furniture I ordered was "in stock" except for one chair which I handpicked the fabric for. The trouble just began there and never stopped. It was one thing after the other trying to get 5 pieces of furniture actually delivered to my home with a delivery fee and within a reasonable time frame.
The so called "manager" Mindy, whom I later found out was not the manager was rude and ask why I was throwing such a fit if I "got my way on everything"? Are you kidding me??? Then I was put on the phone with the "owner" and the call just got worse from there. Apparently La-Z-Boy does not care out all about their franchises or who owns them. Please do not purchase from La-Z-Boy. I wish I had read reviews prior to my purchase but unfortunately it is too late for me.

We purchased our reclining loveseat with console in July of 2016. By March 2017, we had to send it back for repairs. We had to pay $100 for them to come pick it up and drop it off. We were told by the repairman that the recliner hadn’t been built properly in the first place. By August 2017, the cushions that our backs rest on (same love seat) no longer offered any support, especially lower back support. The cushions are very sunken in, to the point that we can’t sit in the recliner without first placing a pillow behind us to support our back.
It’s very disappointing that, in less than 2 years, we will be forced to send off our still new recliner twice for repair, paying $200 for transport on a furniture set that we paid over $2000 for in the first place. To be fair, the other love seat we purchased has held up fine, but if the one with problems is any indication, it has held up simply because it is sat in much less frequently. We were given the impression by the salesman we spoke to that La-Z-Boy represented quality furniture. Our experience so far has not reflected that reputation.

We have a La-Z-Boy recliner that my husband has had since he was in college. It's the ugliest but it's so comfortable so he would not get rid of it. We've been married five years, but he’s had it for 15 years. We have also purchased furniture at other places in the last couple of years but we decided to go with La-Z-Boy again because of the warranty and they had a piece of furniture that we needed. Also, there were issues where we needed to purchase replacement cushions because the ones we got kept falling apart and our experience at the other place was so awful that we decided to pay the extra money and go with La-Z-Boy. We purchased some ottomans, some sofas, a chair-and-a-half, chairs, sectional sofa, all kinds of stuff. We had an awesome experience with their sales reps. Then we had a designer come out and work the best to tell us where we should put each piece and help with the color choices. Everything has been great so far.

2014 Rex 7 seater, 4 recliners - We are not large people and we do not sit in the couch all day long, maybe a few hours a night. Both ends of the sectional backs are flat. It looks ridiculous compared to the rest of the couch, and of course the comfort level is lacking after only 3 years. We purchased La-Z-Boy because our family have always had the brand as used to be happy with them. We paid almost 4,000 for this one sectional that is not holding up very well. The cost to have stuffing sent to me and the lazy boy repair man is over 300.00 just for 2 backs and 2 arm rests. I also own 2 custom lazy boy chairs I ordered in 2009, which have held up beautifully.
I asked about ordering parts for those 2 chairs, which were very expensive. I was told they no longer sell parts for furniture made before 2012. The only reason I purchased lazy boy is the longevity, which is absolutely no longer the case. I sincerely hope they change their business practices, this used to be a very loved company. I will be cutting my losses and moving on to a new company, too bad for lazy boy because we now have a large home and need to furnish 2 other living suites and a dinning set.

We've had La-Z-Boy furniture in our home for three years now, then we recently bought a dining table and a dining chair. The quality of the furniture is good and the cost is fair. One of their salesman was pretty good but the upper salesperson that we dealt with when we purchased the last piece didn't have the best personality.
Also, when I was in their store, I mentioned to the sales staff that the existing furniture we have is a couch sectional and we have a warranty issue with that because when I called their warranty service department, they instructed me that there was going to be a fee for them to come out and do the necessary repairs. My understanding was that that was part of the package. The information that we have also seemed to support the fact that anything that's craftsmanship related should be covered at no charge. Their sales staff informed me that they’re supposed to come out and do any repairs that are necessary at no cost. But that didn't happen. So there is a break somewhere in the communication between their warranty department and their sales staff.

We purchased a sectional sofa one (1) year ago from La-Z-Boy. We had had a sectional before that wore out very quickly. We specifically went to La-Z-Boy because we wanted quality. We purchased in October 2016 and had the sofa delivered in November 2017. IMMEDIATELY, we noted the padding was very scanty on the arms, irritating our elbows. Lance, a fantastic repair guy came out. He explained that the padding on the arms could not be repaired without taking them to the shop. The padding on the backs was also scant, so he added cotton-looking stuffing. Within two months, the reclining function was squeaking every time we used it. And we could feel the wood through the seats. Lance came again, took photos, added padding, and left. About six months later, Lance returned for the third time.
This time, we wanted our money back. We wanted La-Z-Boy quality and got even worse than bargain basement quality. Lance has just come for the fourth time. FOUR TIMES IN ONE YEAR!! This time, to do the repair of the creaky reclining and to fix the padding, they have to take TWO SEATS BACK TO THE SHOP! What?? What are we supposed to do with two of the five seats missing??? One thing we have discussed is if we or the kids or the puppies gets injured, we are going to file a lawsuit. Bottom line: NEVER BUY FROM La-Z-Boy. We have learned, from a very reliable source, that they have significantly reduced the quality of the materials and the process with which they build.
I think they had hoped no one would notice - or care. I think they have fallen into the deep dark pit of corporate greed. Screw us, the customer. Continue to charge top-of-the-line prices and give us below bargain basement quality. We will NEVER buy from La-Z-Boy again. We will let everyone we know not to waste their money. We will opt into what must surely be a class-action suit brewing. We are so very very disappointed. Please, can we please get our hard-earned money back?! Please!

I'd recommend La-Z-Boy to anybody and I've had no problems with them. I purchased something from them years ago and has also given their products as gifts. Their furniture is comfortable and their reps are always kind. My daughter is a manager there but I went through salesperson Kevin who has always been very polite. Also, the delivery team was fantastic, very efficient and clean. They came in and I asked them to try the chair out and they did. They placed it exactly where I wanted it and they were very polite. I thought they were local but they had come down from Waterbury, Bridgeport and it was raining and cold that time. Overall, I absolutely love my recliner.

My wife and I have been long time customers of LA-Z-BOY. We’ve purchased sofas and couches several times and were always satisfied. Our four children became fans too. Maddeningly LA-Z-BOY and its warranty company refuse to stand by and replace and/repair a defective couch my daughter purchased 3 years ago from their store near Bayonne, NJ. The couch developed tears and pitting holes in the leather in numerous places. The leather couch is plainly and patently defective. Despite that neither LA-Z-BOY nor its warranty co will do anything. LA-Z-BOY is doing a Sergeant Schultz routine from the television show Hogan’s Heroes in that they know nothing and see nothing saying there is absolutely nothing they can or will do. Absolutely disgraceful!!!
Their warranty company is just as terrible! They claim not to know the cause. Therefore they refuse to honor the warranty that was paid for over and above the cost of the couch. This is a tragic display of the worst in customer service and care. Therefore to anyone contemplating a LA-Z-BOY purchase, BEWARE!!! They will kiss up to you when they try to close the sale. But when you need them later they will abandon you like you don’t exist. As our president would say, SAD!!!
