I bought a lift recliner for my elderly mother when she went in a nursing home. I was sold a lifetime warranty that I was told would cover any and all mechanical issues as long as we had the chair. I submitted a claim for fabric cleaning and was denied coverage. The motor in the chair makes a horribly loud noise now so I submitted a claim for repair. It was we would have to pay $109 plus tax for labor and to contact Serveco to see if they would cover that portion. When I called them they said if the chair wasn't "broken". They would pay nothing. This warranty I was sold was totally misrepresented and is the most useless so called warranty I have ever seen! I am very disappointed that your company would take advantage of people this way! I will not recommend your products to anyone nor buy another one of your products in the future!

Bought a chair 1 1/2 Yrs ago. Padding has completely broken down. Scheduled a service call after having to purchase all materials and pay labor. Serviceman showed up, began to fix chair, and realized they were wrong sized materials. Called LZB. Told me I would have to pay for the parts. That didn't happen. Refunded all money. The point is, the foam padding that they use in their chairs is the cheapest you can buy. It is embarrassing. Will never deal with this outfit again as their furniture is extremely low quality. Buy at your own risk.

Had a very difficult time finding a dealer that would negotiate. I was paying cash. Finally found one that would come off the retail price sum but it was really silly. $20. I get the last year's model. 2017 chair rocker recliner home. It works good except the back reclines too easy and need to have a way to lock it in a reclined position. This chair will flip from reclined to normal with the slightest body movement.

We wanted a change and we purchased some new furniture. We've had La-Z-Boy for probably 30 years now and the quality is great, so we went there. The sales rep was great and everything was wonderful. But our new furniture hasn't been delivered yet as I have to wait before the order. I called back and I got extra material to make curtains and they were wonderful about that. They sent samples of the materials that we bought so that I had them to match up things, and it was great.

After looking at some models, La-Z-Boy seems to be the most well-built. I dealt with the Admiral Ohio store and everybody there was great. Everything that was explained was very good and the warranty is good. I purchased the power recliner with massage and heat, and it was scheduled for delivery. They called and said the trailer was seen last Saturday or Friday.

My husband bought a chair from La-Z-Boy 20 years ago. We moved recently and we wanted to have another chair. La-Z-Boy was very helpful and not too pushy. I appreciated them with the help they gave me. After the power recliner came in, they gave us a call and told us it was ready. And then told us when they would be able to do the delivery. The delivery was fine and the people were very helpful. They were on time. In fact, after our move, the old La-Z-Boy chair hadn't been put together properly and they noticed that and fixed that for us as well. So we were pleased.
I noticed that there's stitching on the back of it though. When I look at it, it's not quite straight. But that's okay. And as far as the comfort of the chair and everything else, I like the chair very much. I'm okay with the cost too. We're very happy with the chair, its quality and the service that was provided. I would be very positive in recommending it.

I purchased a Collins sectional. The flyer photo showed a very crisp look with the cushions all looking like you would think they should. I complained to La-Z-Boy during the first year. My sofa is sloppy looking. All the cushions are collapsing. I was informed that I needed to "fluff" the pillows every day by unzipping the back cushions and fluffing the filling that way. I sent photos to them asking for some resolution of the problem. The "fluffing" was their resolution. I was never contacted by La-Z-Boy main office. If anyone cares to contact me, I will be happy to send the email and photos that I forwarded to La-Z-Boy on 12/4/17.

I’ve had La-Z-Boy rocker recliners for about 30 years and I’m very happy with them. I also decided to get a couch and a chair. The sales rep were very accommodating and very easy to work with. I'm still waiting for La-Z-Boy to deliver the furniture because they’ve got to finish the fabric for the chair. I wanted it all delivered at the same time. The cost was fine compared to Jordan’s, for example, and I’m very happy with the quality. It’s better than a lot of other stuff I’ve seen out there and La-Z-Boy wasn’t the first place that I went to. Everybody has decent furniture but their quality sometimes isn’t the same. I’d recommend La-Z-Boy to a friend.

I owned my first La-Z-boy for 10 years and then we moved and didn't take it with us. La-Z-Boy has quite an assortment of furniture, and the sales reps that I worked with were very nice and very informative in measuring and making sure that it's going to go through the door of our travel trailer. With the first furniture I picked out, we just decided that it wasn't going through the door. But the second one I picked out was similar to the first, and it came through quite quickly. The delivery guys got it in with no problem. They were very gentleman and they were on time and did good. La-Z-Boy has higher price but it's good furniture so I don't mind.

I purchased a couch and coffee table at the beginning of February 2018 from the store in Rockville, MD. I paid for the purchase in full that day. When purchasing the couch we chose not to purchase any add-ons or custom fabric because we were informed the couch delivery would take up to 2 months with custom options so we ordered it standard and were informed that it would be ready for delivery the first week of March. After calling multiple times throughout March to get an update on the order, we were finally told the couch was in stock at the beginning of April, over two full months after we purchased it. This was after dealing with unhelpful and rude customer service when calling for updates.
Delivery of the couch and coffee table occurred on April 3, 2018. The delivery staff was unhelpful and hostile the entire time. We called them multiple times to inform them of the exact location of the loading dock to our apartment. Despite this they refused to use the loading dock instead opting to unload the furniture onto the street and move it over 2 blocks to the loading dock. They decided this after yelling at us about the loading dock access. When we purchased the couch we made sure to verify that they would be able to take out the old furniture and bring it to the dump area in our courtyard. They then refused to do this and yelled at us again telling us it was too much and not a part of their job.
The lead delivery person finally called his boss who informed him that it was in fact a part of his job and he was to remove the couch. They then brought the couch to the dumpster in the loading dock which we are not allowed to use. The building security informed them of this and they refused to move it to the correct location. Instead they just left the furniture at the loading dock and left. This was after the security guard threatened to call the police due to their hostile attitude and yelling. We were then left to move the old furniture to the appropriate place even though this is where we informed them to dump it in the first place. The level of service we received was downright disrespectful, hostile and frankly deserved law enforcement intervention.

I bought a recliner and a sofa from La-Z-Boy, which was my first time buying from their gallery. I have an old La-Z-Boy recliner that I love and I'm having it re-upholstered to go with my new sofa and my new chair. I haven't received the furniture yet, but I hope that I get the same quality now as this old recliner. It's probably about 50 years old and it has been recovered a couple times.
The manager at La-Z-Boy, Lewis, was absolutely phenomenal and was one of a kind. He was very personable and talked to me by my first name when I walked in the store. Everyone in the store was very friendly, welcoming, worked with me when I had an issue. The designer there was very good too. La-Z-Boy should never stop making quality stuff even if it's more expensive. People learn a lesson like I did. I purchased new furniture less than a year ago from another company. It was less expensive but it was junk. So I would highly recommend La-Z-Boy as their service was great.

We’re retired so we’re home longer and sit a little bit more. And when we bought that first sofa, it wasn’t really fit for us. It was like, a hide back, and the large thing didn’t really fit as right so we went up to look around again and we found one that we like that fit better. Tonya, the lady from La-Z-Boy that helped us, was great. She was very nice, explained a lot of stuff to us and helped us out with other stuff. When my wife wanted to pick out her colors, she got those swatches out for her and really worked with my wife and helped her out there because we got a color that wasn’t in the store. We ordered something that we wanted. They called us quicker than we thought they would. We had a snowstorm during the delivery and they did all they could to get up in the street. It took us four times because they couldn’t turn around up here, so they had to back up. And they got it up here that we could get it unloaded. They didn’t quit. They did a good job.
I like the sofa. It's comfortable and it’s worth it. My other recliner had the handle and these got the electric buttons on, plus they have this thing there to plug in your phone and you can charge up your cellphone, which is really handy. And then, this one here has the head part that all by itself, you can put it front of back where you’re sitting up or reclining. Our other one didn’t have that. It’s what we liked about it. My wife, with her neck in that. I would tell people how good it was and it lasted a long time, and it’s comfortable. My wife’s sister said she’s mad at her right now because every time she sits in our old recliner, she falls asleep.
Some people we know got the furniture already, but we would recommend them to anybody. Our sofa was still in good shape, so my wife’s sister took it. I liked that the backs come off so it makes it easier just to carry the bottom and then it’s three pieces, and then you just pop them in and you’re ready to go. That made it handy for them to come pick it up.

We bought two top-of-the-line recliners last July. Several months ago, one of the power supplies got wet and shorted out. Because the plugs are so proprietary, our only choice was to order another one ($99 for what should have cost around $25) from La-Z-Boy. That was back in late January. It's now April, and there's still no sign of the part. They're very, very willing to sell you whatever they can sell you. Don't expect any customer service, though. We are NOT happy customers.

We had our other furniture for many years and they were just too big for our living room so I wanted to downsize a little bit, get something smaller. We purchased several items from La-Z-Boy like a power recliner, power reclining sofa and tables. Their salesperson was very nice and very helpful. Their delivery guys were very good and professional too. The cost was a little high but they seem like they're very well-made furniture and I’m glad that they're made in the USA. But we returned the one recliner because it didn’t work properly. Other than that, everything else is fine.

I purchased three La-Z-Boy recliners with upgraded memory foam seats from a local company at the end of 2013. On two of the chairs I upgraded the fabric. On the chair I did not upgrade the fabric, it started to tear at the seam on the seat. I contacted the local company right away. They took pictures and sent them to La-Z-Boy. They told me that La-Z-Boy had told them that it looked like I had spilled something on the fabric and try to rub it off, thereby wearing down the seam. I expressed to the local store that no such thing happened and that I believed La-Z-Boy was just trying to get out of their warranty to replace the fabric.
Because I cannot get memory foam seats in any recliner, I am stuck with putting layers of coverings over the ripped seam which has torn much more. From my experience, La-Z-Boy does not stand by it warranties. I am writing this review now because I came across this website of which I did not know to use and warn other consumers about La-Z-Boy not standing by its warranty.

I purchased a leather sectional from the La-Z-Boy in Lansing, MI a little over three years ago. The leather is falling apart and it is embarrassing. When I purchased my beautiful brown sofa I thought that since it was a La-Z-Boy that it would last for years to come as my last leather purchase had lasted for over 10 years. It has only been around three years and the chaise is in bad shape. During the first six months the leather had already started to peel off the chaise and now it’s almost completely bare. I have to put a blanket over it when visitors come over as I’ve never had a piece of furniture that has fallen apart so quickly. There are other areas of the sectional that look like the leather will be peeling away soon also. On one end of the sectional it was supposed to recline, but it’s never worked well and I overlooked it because I loved my beautiful sectional so much.
We’ve only been able to recline it 3 times in the years that we have had it because it's never worked well since the beginning. We even had a representative within the first few weeks come out to our house to “fix it”, but even then it didn’t really work. I don’t know what to really do so I’m going to wait until I can afford new furniture and just get rid of this sectional. I am really bummed because I truly was looking forward to having this sectional for years to come. I’m disappointed that my La-Z-Boy experience wasn’t the greatest.

Our living room furniture was 15 years old and the couches were faded, so we decided it was time to buy new furniture. I got a couch, table, chairs, and a chair and a half from La-Z-Boy. The sales representative was very nice and helpful. We ordered a different fabric from what was on the sales floor and she helped pick that out. The delivery guys were fine and they delivered the furniture, but there wasn’t really any setup as the furniture all came together.
But there was one issue with the chair and a half. Its cushion was noticeably firmer than the couch cushion. But I actually prefer a firmer cushion because I’m assuming that the cushion would eventually get less and less firm as the years go by. There was nothing not to recommend with La-Z-Boy. My dad purchased some furniture from them too. He got recliner couches, a loveseat, and a couch. He has had them for quite a few years and he’s still very happy with them, so I’m assuming that I will be the same.

We had similar style couches that weren't electric. They were manual and they were pretty dilapidated. We'd had them for quite a few years, so we got rid of them and bought two La-Z-Boys. We were in the area where their store is in Mission Valley, so my wife and I went in and looked around. The salesman there was really low pressure and a really good guy to deal with. We were gonna go across the street to one of the big chain stores that sells furniture, and he was like "Go across the street and take a look. See if you find something better over there and if you do, great. If you don't, come on back." And we ended up coming back because of the selection they had.
They delivered our furniture for us and it was an awesome experience. The two guys that brought it in stood it up and carried it through the door. They took the covers off and placed them right where we wanted them. We plugged everything in and they checked to make sure they were fine and everything was working good. The guy that was in the passenger's seat asked if it was okay if they took a picture of the couch in place, and I said it'd be fine so I let them. I live in the Imperial Valley in Valley of California and the La-Z-Boys are in our house in San Diego, so I'm not gonna get a chance to sit in them until this weekend. But the quality looked really good and they're gonna get a lot of use 'cause I got four grandkids and four kids.

I needed something new and I thought the La-Z-Boy furniture was good so I purchased it. But the delivery guys had to take it back because it didn't fit up the stairs. That was two weeks ago. I had also bought an accessory from La-Z-Boy after the fact. People who are interested in a La-Z-Boy shouldn't listen to the salesmen when they say that the guys can get the stuff up their stairs.

There was a variety of choices I was really pleased with at La-Z-Boy. I purchased high-leg recliners and the sales rep made it a very pleasant experience. He was very professional, friendly, and wasn't pushy. Also, the delivery went very smoothly. The chairs are worth every penny that I paid.

I bought a La-Z-Boy reclining sofa and totally amazed what a cheap piece of crap it is. That is putting it mildly. It's broken 5 times, and the design of the metal and wood components aspire to be just shoddy. I always thought La-Z-Boy was quality furniture, I was so wrong.

I'm rearranging a room and I recently purchased a sectional sofa from La-Z-Boy, but I also have had other La-Z-Boy furniture in our home for 20 years. La-Z-Boy's salesman and customer service people were very nice and great. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. The guys who delivered my sectional were very professional. They came in to do what they needed to do and were out of here. The sectional was a bit pricey but the salespeople were willing to work with me and we got it down to a price that was good. So, they were accommodating in trying to make sure that they kept me happy. And also, the quality of the product is great and I love it.

About 6 months ago my husband and I purchased La-Z-Boy Maverick styled love seats for our family room. I specifically requested professional fabric protection; in agreement we would pay more for it. When selecting the fabric color my sales lady informed us we don't need to treat it because it’s their new iClean fabric. We had a spill and discovered the fabric doesn’t repel as represented. I tested the other sofa with water and both have the same problem in behaving like they're untreated. I called La-Z-Boy and asked for an inspection.
A third party company came and when the guy found out why he was here, didn’t want to watch the video claiming it’s not his video to compare the lack of performance with the upholstery on the sofas. Bottom line he didn’t want any part of it and left. While here I squirted water for him from my sport bottle and the bigger volume immediately soaked in. The small droplets beaded but quickly soaked in before there would be time to get a towel to blot up. Only the tiny droplets (pin head size) managed to sit on the fabric. The inspector focused on those tiny drops and said, "Look, it's beading up," to which I reply, "You’re showing me what the dog shook off and ignoring the soaked in pool he came out of."
I have asked for a La-Z-Boy employee (or iClean employee) to come and test the furniture and getting the run around. The furniture is tangible proof this is NOT what I paid for. My sales lady tried to spin it that if the fabric doesn’t stain I’m ok. I told her, "No I’m not ok." As I explained, the only substance dropped by accident and purposely for the inspector has been water. It’s soaking in. If we were to dump red wine, how does she know it won’t stain?? It’s a useless point because we need to stay focused on the failure of the fabric to perform as represented.
In watching the iClean video they split screen side by side iClean fabric compared to non treated. My sofa’s performing like the untreated side letting the liquid soak in vs. the liquid on the iClean fabric puddles wherein nothing soaks in and only needs blotting. I’m complaining here because the persons I’m contacting at La-Z-Boy keep trying to shove information that has nothing to do with my objective. We purchased the sofas from the Ontario Mills Store in Ontario, CA. I want the sofas replaced with the correct fabric or give me my money back.

We've owned La-Z-Boy furniture for six years. Then, my wife passed away and I wanted to change some things so I got new furniture from them. The sales rep was wonderful and good at helping me pick colors and making decisions. Also, the delivery guys made sure that I was happy where they put the stuff and if they needed to be moved again. They were very good. I love the furniture and I have nothing but compliments.

I received a flyer from La-Z-Boy in the mail around Presidents' Day and their free interior design services caught my attention. That was appealing to me since I was looking to update and remodel a particular room in our house. The other huge draw was that it was 30% off on that flyer which from talking to some of the associates, was rare. So, I made the call and spoke with Caitlin at the Boardman, La-Z-Boy facility who happened to be the lead design person for that location. It had been a pure pleasure to work with her. I would highly recommend her to friends and families.
Caitlin came to the home and measured every inch of every base wall. From beginning to end, she was encouraging and helpful. I'm super opinionated and I wasn't wishy washy. I knew what I liked and didn't like, which was helpful to Caitlin, but I needed her guidance as to pieces that would work. She eased my mind and when I was not sure if I would like a rug, she assured me it would be the right thing to do. Now that it’s done, I’m so grateful that she was able to have a vision for the job that I was putting together. We were able to hone in on what sectional would work in the room based on her measurements and I ended up picking fabric for custom window treatments that are currently being made. As soon as La-Z-Boy gets that 14 yards of fabric delivered to the store, my window treatment person can pick that up and get that part completed.
I’ve been in and out of La-Z-Boy's store over the last two months and everyone’s been super friendly and nice. They were willing to help or answer a question or find the answer if I had one. I purchased a reclining sectional sofa with some high leg recliners and a couple of different accessories, like rugs, shelves, and lamps. The items were delivered by Shawn and Bill and they were very willing to accommodate any need or to move items after we had laid the carpet and put down the sectional, and when Caitlin was able to arrive while they were there making some adjustments. So, they could not have been more generous, kind, and wanting to make everything right.
At one point, my very best friend, Marilyn, met me at La-Z-Boy and when I was showing her the items I was getting, she coincidentally decided to update some of her furniture and spent over $5,000 there. She ordered a console for her dining room or a buffet table and a customized chair with the fabric, which has been delivered. So, because of my excitement and I was happy with where things were going in working with Caitlin and the staff at La-Z-Boy, Marilyn also jumped in on all of that.

Multiple orders first one was January 2017 - My problems have been going on for over a year. Bought multiple sofas. They broke down, fixed, returned, exchanged, bought new style. Broke, fixed, broke, fixed and now broke again. I have had it. Get this sofa out and reimburse me please... Look me up on computer. Three sofas and multiple repairs. Enough is enough. You have multiple pictures. One repair was to replace both sides of the reclining sofa.

We've had La-Z-Boy products in our home for twelve years and the old 9-year-old double recliner we had was starting to show its wear. We wanted to go with a chaise lounge on my side as opposed to the recliner so we bought a recliner and a chaise lounge put together, which made it a loveseat. We also bought a table. The rep was awesome and very patient. She answered all our questions and showed us everything that we wanted to look at. She was a great woman all around. The delivery was fine and the crew was good. We had to make a little modification after they left because the pair wouldn't hook together correctly, so my husband fixed it up.
So far, we like the quality. It's a little on the expensive side, but we were able to get what we wanted. When we're looking for more furniture, we will probably go back to La-Z-boy. I' tell friends that La-Z-Boy's products are a little on the higher-end, but it's very worth its price and I would recommend going there and looking anyway.

About five weeks ago, I bought a sofa and a chair from La-Z-Boy. It was a little expensive and just last week, this furniture was on sale and I could've saved quite a bit of money. On the other hand, the sales reps were very nice and they answered any questions I had. We had the furniture delivered and they're very comfortable but there's a little problem with one of the chairs. The recliner reclines okay, but when I get down from there, it seems like there's a spring or something that's weakened. Their team is coming back out in a week or two to check that out. Apart from that, the delivery team was very good too.

I relocated in 2016 to MS while furniture is still under warranty. I have called on 3 separate occasions to get my recliner serviced. I spoke with 3 individuals Mary, MaryAnn and Nancy. All promising to reach out to find a provider in my area. All promising to keep me posted with a return follow up call. Now a month later and not a word from anyone. I feel I spent thousands of dollars on furniture and I moved to another state and La-Z-Boy has thrown me under the bus. Unacceptable.

We were told that if the chair frame broke or fell apart it would be fixed or replaced at no cost. Yet our recliner that is 2 years old has an arm fall off, wood is broken and we are told they will send us the parts to fix it ourselves or we can bring it to them and pay $1 per minute for them to install it. I can't believe we bought multiple products from you cheats. We won't make that mistake again. La-Z-Boy for the Lose!!!

We like our new La-Z-Boy chairs. I was replacing a La-Z-Boy chair that I've had for about 20 years. We like Shelly, the woman that we worked with and who handled the account for us over at La-Z-Boy. She was wonderful. She was the manager and she was very accommodating. The guys who delivered the chairs were as nice as they could be. They lied to us, but other than that, we got the chairs in. I'm handicapped and I had to have a chair that swivels and my roommate’s chair had to be the other kind. They have sent mine with the regular standard and they put the swivel on hers. And it wasn’t Shelly’s fault because I looked at all the papers and it was drawn up right.
One of the guys who delivered the chairs told us that as soon as he got the card he would call La-Z-Boy and tell them about it and that they would call us back to make an appointment and then they would send a technician out to switch them. As soon as he got the card, he called and told us he couldn’t do that. So we had to call several different places until we got the right people. They would have to pick up the chairs and take them back and fix them and bring them back and it would take about two weeks. So we called Shelly back and she called us back and said they'd pick them up the next day and have them back in two days and they did. As soon as we got Shelly on stuff, things worked. And we have the chairs and we like the chairs and the people that brought them back were as nice as they could be and we had no problems after that.
We ordered them on a Monday and they were delivered on a Saturday. They came and got them the following Thursday and they brought them back in on a Monday. So, from beginning to end, it took a couple of weeks, which was a long time. There was a lot of crap before we got them, but I would shop at La-Z-Boy again.

We have a handicapped son, and we had to specifically find furniture that would fit in our living room and also with a list system that we have for him. And just going to the store and trying to find a grouping just didn't work. But La-Z-Boy had everything available on the website that you could do measurements. our experience was pretty easy and we liked it. They accommodated everything that we needed. They were great. The delivery went as smooth as could be. The driver called us when he was half hour away and confirmed the appointment again. And they delivered it fast and quick.
When they brought furniture in, it felt like it was cheaply made, but we have no problems with it. It's beautiful furniture and I've had many compliments on it. It's comfortable and nothing broke on it. We had a good experience with La-Z-Boy and we were very satisfied. It was a very easy process, considering what we needed for our needs.

I have owned two La-Z-Boy recliners, the first lasted 11 years and three house moves. When it was finally ready to put it out to pasture, I immediately went back to La-Z-Boy for a replacement. Initially I was happy, but after 1-1/2 years the back came loose from the garbage particle board. Since I was out of “warranty” I fabricated a bracket and was back in business. Everything appeared fine until last night.
While I was reclined, I heard a crack, my chair fell down a couple inches then straight back to the floor. The wood block holding the mechanism pulled away from the garbage partial board. Thankfully I wasn’t hurt, but my head landed about 2 inches from a table. Thankfully my cat was not laying in her favorite spot at the time! This chair is literally 2-weeks from its 3rd birthday. Called La-Z-Boy and directed me back to my retailer, I called the retailer and they want to charge me $75 just to look at it! Not sure what I am going to do about it? The particle board makeup is far inferior to my previous chair.

The chair fabric has worn and although it is only 6 months old at the time of this photo it appears to be 10 years old...service department says that it is NORMAL wear and tear and the store manager told me to come in and he would give me a deal on a new chair (before he hung up on me)... This is completely UNACCEPTABLE business and would like some satisfaction... I am embarrassed to have furniture that looks like this in my home!!!

We liked the couch and the few chairs that we had before from La-Z-Boy which we owned for about 10 years, so we went back and got another set. The cost was good as they were on sale. Originally, we were just going to replace a couple of recliners, but with the big sale, we decided to add on and replace our couch. The discussion with the sales rep went well. He went over the warranty too, and was really helpful. Their team got us what we needed and are supposed to deliver the furniture this week, as I called a couple of weeks ago and it didn't work out schedule-wise between us and them. Other than that, based on the service that we've had so far, I'd rate them high. We've already discussed the sale that was going on with a couple of our family members, and one of my sisters along with her husband bought something too.

We had moved to a new state and downsized to an apartment so we got rid of a bunch of furniture. But we moved back to a house and we needed something to fill the living room space. We found a few couches that we liked but they seemed a little too big or the arms on the side are a little weird. But at La-Z-Boy, we loved all the options. And the sales rep was great, very friendly, and took a lot of time with us. We took a while to decide on the upholstery and the pillow upholstery and she brought out a ton of different awesome color combinations. We liked her a lot. But the delivery was late which wasn't fabulous. Although, they did refund part of the delivery fees.
Also, our salesperson said, “Make sure when you get it, you look at every single piece. Let us know if there’s anything wrong with it.” So, we felt that we would have time to really give it a once-over just to make sure it was okay. But the people pretty much dropped it and were like, “All right. Sign the sheet so we can leave immediately.” We asked if we were allowed to look at it before they leave and they were just like, “Yeah, yeah. Sign it, sign it.” I know that they were behind and we just signed but I wish they let us really look at it before they dropped it and left.
I feel like for $2,000 they could throw in the delivery for free especially if it’s not gonna be great quality. That would’ve been nice. But we love the couch and I feel like the cost was fine. We knew what we were paying for. If it had been an off-the-floor model, I would’ve thought it was high but since we got to pick the leg color, the upholstery color, and two sets of pillows, I thought it was fair.

Recliner delivered just today. When I purchased the chair I asked about the wall clearance and was told it was 4". Well, actually it is 16" and I now have a chair in the middle of my living room that certainly doesn't serve the purpose intended, and is a 100% disappointment.

La-Z-Boy carries the Flexsteel, which I think is a very good product. And I particularly like La-Z-Boy because of their reputation. My husband had La-Z-Boy furniture for probably 20 years at least. And then I recently bought a sofa. I was looking for a particular cut and style and I wanted it to be of good quality. They're always very helpful and knowledgeable at La-Z-Boy. I had the sofa delivered and for the ottoman, I've got it picked up because it's all that I can put in the car. The delivery team brought the furniture in, put it where I wanted it and I think there were some wrappings on it. They took that off and disposed it. The product is expensive but then you get what you pay for. It has a very good quality.

Leather recliner purchased in Oct 2017 and delivered in Nov of 2017. After 3 months, I contacted Customer Service because of noise when husband rocked in chair and the indented area where head and legs rested. The sewing on chair was uneven from side to side and gathering poorly done and not matched. It is very upsetting to pay over $1500 for an "on sale" leather chair and have it look so terrible. All my furniture is leather and this is the only piece that looks like it should be in the garage rather than the living room.
Technician came and informed us that base was warped which created noise. Then said he would talk to manager about replacement of back of chair. Six weeks later he called to tell me he had new base but nothing about back of chair. When I called Customer Service, I was told that it was reviewed and decided back was not necessary... it was "comfort" indentures... after owning chair only four months, it looks terrible. We spent the extra money to purchase the 5 year extended warranty but it means nothing. NEVER EVER BUY THE POOR QUALITY OF LA-Z-BOY.

We bought 2 1HR 583 LH 827707 recliners for a total of $4001. On 7/22/17. Approx, 7 weeks ago one of the transformer/power supplies went out and we called our dealer. They are going to charge us $100. for a $20. device and we still haven't heard from them or received the device. Slow boat from Hong Kong?? If I had the wiring schematic I could probably had one made locally in a day. This is poor service. Our store was your store on Tamiami Trail in Sarasota, FL.

Ordered 2 recliners with heat, massage, and power recline, quoted 4 weeks took 8. Received the chairs and the delivery men were great. A day later the remote started acting up, I called and was told a new one would be 4-6 weeks. I said that was not acceptable and I wanted to return them, I was told they would send somebody out. With one a week later their tech guy came out and he was good also but they gave him a remote that wasn’t for that chair so he came back 3 days later with the right one and installed it. It worked for one day and then started doing what the first one did.
I phoned and they told me that it must be a box internally that is shorting out and again was told it would be 4-6 weeks before they could get that part, again not acceptable!! I told them that I had called as soon as we had this problem and that I want to return them, I was told I would have to pay a 50% restocking charge. Why would this be the case when it’s a defective product, I will be calling the consumer protection agency and reporting this. I would have given them 0 stars if it wasn’t for the delivery guys and the tech.

The quality just isn't what it used to be! La-Z-Boy was our 1st choice when we looked for a new couch/loveseat in 2015. But now, not even 3yrs later and a piece of wood on the frame snapped. So much for a lifetime warranty, we have to pay over $100/hr for labor to have it fixed and pay shipping for the replacement piece. There is no way that the frame should have cracked in under 3yrs with normal daily use. Our old set is 19yrs old and still holding strong. On top of the repair cost, it has taken 2 months to get it fixed.

We purchased a leather sofa and chair from La-Z-Boy three yrs. ago. We purchased the 5 yr. extended warranty since we were putting out so much money. The salesperson led us to believe this was an extension of the warranty it came with! The headrest on the chair not only faded, but actually peeled. The sofa had somewhat the same problem on the headrest and other spots! I called La-Z-Boy and they told me that I would have to contact Ultra Shield. I called Ultra Shield and they told me to take pictures and send to them. I took pics. and sent. Never heard from them so I called La-Z-Boy AGAIN. They contacted Ultra Shield. After sending more pics. and e-mails they said that this was NOT covered!!! SERIOSLY??? If this isn't covered then what is?? Made NO sense to me.
After some research I found too many stories and complaints exactly like mine. I will NOT let this rest. It's a scam and they know it. The quality of their furniture has really gotten bad. If so many people are complaining about the EXACT problem that I have something is not right!!! Where are they getting their leather? I will NEVER buy LA-Z-BOY again. Buyers Beware!!! They do NOT stand behind their products. They are scamming their customers. It's a real shame that honesty doesn't go hand in hand at La-Z-Boy!!!

I got a Luxury-Lift Recliner with heat and massage from La-Z-Boy because my other chair broke. I thought very highly of my lady sales rep. She lets you look and she isn't trying to sell you something and that’s good with me. The two guys that delivered the chair were very friendly and they had no problem putting it together apparently. I enjoy La-Z-Boy and so it's a good recliner. I spent more than I wanted to spend like anybody would. I'm hoping it's going to be worth it. Overall they're all so friendly. It's not like you're going shopping for something. They would take you in to help you. I would rate them 5 all the way across.

We took delivery of a La-Z-Boy electronic reclining couch in June 20013. Our experience with the sales crew was lovely, helpful and professional. The quality of the workmanship was very poor. We learned that our couch was made outside the USA when we were told that it had to be crafted then shipped to California and then transported to Ohio. The craftsman did not measure and level our couch as they crafted it therefore we have had to have it reconstructed within the first year.
The safety disengage features of the electric foot rests have been a problem from day one. They are hard to reengage upon disengagement. As a result of this difficulty the footrest brackets bend prematurely and were replaced in 2013 and again in 2015. We have had a very disappointing experience with this couch. If La-Z-Boy would have given us our money back the first time we filed a complaint we would have cut our losses and gone on, La-Z-Boy does not take returns. So beware. Have it delivered to the store and check it over at every stress point, there is no turning back after delivery.

Within months of buying a recliner the seat settlement reached and probably exceeded the 30% expected "natural settlement". The chair was repaired but within 6 months the new seat had also collapsed. I complained to La-Z-Boy and Thomsons World of Furniture and I got blanked as if it was my fault for buying one of their products and had the hard neck to suggest I pay them more to fix their product’s inherent fault. La-Z-Boy knows the failings in their quality of products and yet they insist it’s normal. I would suggest that nobody buys on of their products.

I recently got a power reclining sofa, arm caps with the headrest caps from La-Z-Boy. We had two recliners that we got from them. I've had it for a number of years. My wife had some before we got together for a number of years. And when we got married it all of sudden became ours and we got rid of those. We gave those to the church. And the church loves those recliners. Customer-wise, I've been happy with La-Z-Boy. We had a problem and questions about the sofa. It was twerking as it was reclining back, going sideways a little bit. It wasn’t going back smoothly, which we thought it should and the guy says “Oh, this is normal.” And the tolerance between the cushions is very tight and I can see that the material could be a wear factor and that concerned me.
I had a service call on one of the chairs. We moved it and all of a sudden there’s black stuff underneath the chair. The guy told us that it was probably powder paint. But it was coming down all underneath the bottom of the chair and it's a circular revolving recliner. He came out at the same time to look at those because it was putting the residue on the carpet. He said he needed the metal swivel component on the bottom of the one that was leaking the powder and he said that that needed to be replaced. So he ordered one and that came and I've been meaning to call to get somebody out here to do that replacement. They ordered the part but they never followed up. Nevertheless, we were happy with La-Z-Boy. We don’t have any complaints on them.

We had a leather couch that reclined on each end and we no longer wanted the leather. We wanted cloth material. Also, my husband had some surgery and could not use the handle on the side of the couch to lift his recliner part so we needed the automatic ones. The La-Z-Boy rep was nice. We're two old people. Our son was with us, but the rep was just as nice and caring as he could be. Also, he went out of his way to help us. He had us try different chairs by sitting and reclining in them. He showed us samples of fabric. My husband's chair didn't have that particular fabric in that we wanted and they said they made it for us. They had mine but not his. The delivery team came in, set everything up and were also nice to us. I've told several people at our church where we got them. They were going to the local furniture store. And I said, "Go to the La-Z-Boy store. They've got all kinds of stuff out there for you to check out."

Purchased 5 pieces from La-Z-Boy. 3 are terrible and not worth the price paid. Really lower quality upholstery workmanship. Customer service is really poor. Appears that any negative reviews are screened off the La-Z-Boy website. Tried to leave a negative review 4 times. Should have looked at the reviews on other sites on the web and even the BBB. These are more accurate.

I purchased $9000 worth of furniture - a reclina-way sofa and 2 reclina-glider swivel recliners. After 12 weeks they finally arrived... one chair is so completely broken... the frame is bent to hell and they have agreed the only solution is to replace it. The other recliner is crooked and the leg rest does not operate properly. The sofa was put together improperly so the 2 reclining ends felt like they would separate whenever you tried to sit in it. One of the cushions on the sofa was not sewn properly so the leather is all munched up making it look used. I called 20 minutes after delivery, I was not allowed to return them until a technician came to see them, 4 days later. I can’t even sit in them. They make very loud crunching noises when you rock or recline... I was told this was the best place to buy, I disagree 100% and regret my purchase. I feel that my money would have been better spent elsewhere.
Updated on [03/24/2018]: Finally got a response from the rep's for my area, they will NOT return my purchase, even though it was delivered damaged and sewn improperly and generally looks like it was purchased second hand. Offered me "store credit" to ease my troubles - obviously I declined because I will never, ever shop there again or let anyone I know purchase the brand. So... looks like I have to complain about every broken piece/improperly sewn portion to get it replaced... I might have the $9000 furniture I purchased looking almost like new in another 12 weeks or so.
It's worth mentioning... the Consumer Affairs responded to my first review before the store did... although the review itself seems to have disappeared. I should also mention that this was purchase under the guise that yes, if I was unhappy in any way, shape, or form, a return or exchange could be made - a flat out lie... That is why I am so unhappy - I hate this broken furniture, and now I have to look at it live with it and fix it for years to come. I still haven't even sat in it, I sit on my living room floor - I'm afraid it will break even more if I use it! My only wish now, is that someone reads this and considers very seriously the amount of money this furniture costs compared to its quality, and hopefully reconsiders and shops elsewhere.

La-Z-Boy is so good. I don't have to go every year and buy a new one. In fact, I've bought three La-Z-Boy items in the last 25, 30 years. The first one was where I raised all three of my children, I rock them to sleep. I bought the second one for my nephew, that was about five, six years ago. And the third one was just recently for my grandson. I don't mind paying $600, $700 for a couch that's a rocker and a recliner and last long. I got that one on sale. The regular price was $800 or $900 and I only paid $600. It was a good deal. I'm a happy camper. Since I bought it on a Sunday, they said, "Oh, we can't deliver it." So, I picked up my truck, came back, put it up, and took it home. I'm babysitting my grandson and he doesn't want to go sleep and I know rocking chairs knock these kids out fast. As soon as I took it home, I put him in there and he knocked out about 15 minutes later. He was out like a light, so they work.
However, I waited around for 25 minutes and there was four or five other sales rep and nobody helped me. I look Mexican, maybe that's why they didn't want to help me because they thought I only spoke Spanish but I made a liar out of them because I don't know Spanish. But the sales rep who assisted me was very good. She dropped what she was going to do and she helped me by giving me the right price which was very nice of her and everything was fine. I always tell others that if they want a La-Z-Boy, I'll take them with me.

Purchased 3 piece living room suite. Shortly after, problems occurred. Buttons started coming off, threads started unraveling. This suite is 8 years old. The cost was $5,000.00. The backs on 2 of the seating areas are collapsed and the seating areas are also beaten down. The fabric on 2 of the seats is worn off. We are a retired couple that is out of the country a lot and so the furniture doesn't see a lot of overuse. The one thing I can say is, the furniture is comfortable. I thought La-Z-Boy was a good brand and that it would last as such. Very disappointed and I will not be buying any more of this brand. I submitted this in order that other people explore their options before purchasing La-Z-Boy.

A little over a year ago I bought this wonderful sofa from La-Z-Boy. Even bought the extended warranty to go along with it. Then over this past weekend I found where the seams were starting to pull apart. So I did what anyone would do and I pulled out my extended warranty and called them about the issue because supposedly they cover rips and tears in the material. They said, "No sorry that's a manufacturer's problem. We can't cover that, you have to call La-Z-Boy." So I called the store up and they said "sorry not our problem. We're only sales here. You have to call La-Z-Boy". So I call La-Z-Boy. They said, "not our problem you have to call the warranty people. The year warranty is up." Again I called the warranty people back and he goes, "Sorry just like we told you the first time not our problem."
I spent $1,100 on a sofa that now when people come over I have to tell them they can't sit on that side because it's tearing. I was told it's going to cost me a few hundred dollars to go and get it fixed because nobody wants to cover the problem. Why buy a warranty then if problems aren’t covered. I'll think twice before buying another from La-Z-Boy and also definitely think twice before I get the warranty since it doesn't cover anything. I'll stick with their competition. I might get better results.

La-Z-Boy's sales rep was knowledgeable and the sale went easy. There was no pressure. We got our sofa delivered last Saturday and the delivery team looked a little on the rough side but they were friendly and courteous. The sofa is comfortable. I sat in my living room a little bit more than normal over the last few days. I would recommend considering La-Z-Boy if people are looking to buy quality furniture for a long-lasting time.

I recently purchased a recliner, a sectional, and power recliners from La-Z-Boy for our new home. We have been using them for several weeks now. I have had their furniture for 10 years already. We have been here in Minnesota for three years now and there were previous La-Z-Boy sectional and pieces from Ohio. Devin, the sales rep I dealt with was phenomenal, did good follow-ups, and was very pleasant to work with. The showroom was also great. However, I'm having some slight issues that have not been followed up with the service technician yet. I was giving him some time when I was unavailable, but the sectional itself is not completely 100% satisfactory, but the other pieces are fine. Overall, the quality is great, but they can improve the service. It seems like they have limited service technicians and there's one guy who covers a vast area so he hasn’t been all that accessible.

Purchased a recliner 6 months ago. Chair is already broken with a spring pushing through the fabric. Called company. They charge $85 for a service charge. A chair that is barely used and less than six months old should hold up considerably better. Poor quality. Poor customer service. False advertisement... "The chair will last a lifetime... If anything goes wrong, we will fix it!" Total lie. They’ve lost a customer.

I am very disappointed in my customer service at the La-Z-Boy store in South St. Louis County, Missouri. This was my first time buying quality furniture and was excited to be in your store and get exactly what I wanted. I ordered a sectional and recliner in late December. My furniture was delivered on February 8th only to find out that part of my sectional had been ordered in the wrong color. I called that afternoon to get the situation straightened out and was told that they would put a rush order on my piece to get it as soon as possible.
That was the last time I was contacted by the store until I called one month later at the beginning of March to see what the timeline was in my delivery. At that point, I was told it they didn't know and would get back to me the next day, which did not happen. Once I was called they said it is process and it is a special order so it takes longer. Finally, I was told I should be called in 7-10 days to set up my appointment for delivery, 17 days later I was finally called. I am not sure how a love seat could take almost 8 weeks, when my love seat and recliner took 6.
I am VERY disappointed and feel that I was lied to about my furniture being placed on a rush - no way that was a rush order. I understand that it was a special order piece because I wanted one color, but again so were the others at they were not placed on RUSH. I feel that when you spend thousands of dollars on furniture, that there should be some better customer service especially when the store makes the mistake. I will continue to educate my friends and family, that if you are going to spend thousands of dollars, go somewhere else. You can guarantee that I will not being spending my money in this store again, nor will members of my family.

A few years ago I purchased a large sectional. A little over a year after having the couch my husband ripped it with some keys in his back pocket. I wasn't home when the accident happened. I called Ultrashield to help resolve the matter and have someone come out to see if the cushion could be repaired. The representative asked if I was there when the incident occurred and I said "No, my husband was there". She said, "Do you know what happened," and I said, "I couldn't tell her but my husband could." Instead of asking me to get my husband she told me the warranty wouldn't be covered because it's under my name and I wasn't there when the accident occurred. I was very upset because we just spent so much money on this piece of furniture and as a newlywed couple we didn't have much.
Much later on my mother convinced me to call back. She said they should at the very least Ultrashield should be sending someone to look at it and talk to my husband about the damage. They then told me that the damage was marked as "unknown" and there was nothing that could be done about it. I'm completely disgusted with this company. I am still trying to fight to have someone come out here and repair my couch cushion to this day. I have shopped in many furniture stores since this purchase and I have never been treated this way. Ultrashield does NOT care about the customer or the product. They care about scamming hard working people out of their money. Although my family use to purchase from La-Z-Boy in the past this experience has caused them to stop and I'm sorry to say we will not be shopping here any longer if this incident is not resolved.

Ordered and received a motorised two seater sofa and a three seater manual sofa from SCS in 2015. Within a week I noticed that the back of the three seater was out of alignment. After numerous visits by a (sofa engineer) who fitted a new base frame then a new back frame it was decided that the problem couldn’t be fixed, so in June 2017 they replaced the whole suite with a static three seater and a motorised two seater. I have today noticed the stitching on the arm has failed due to faulty manufacture. I am at my wits end after spending £3500. I would have expected something I could rely on. The (engineer) will be with me tomorrow. I am going to ask for my money back.

Bought 2 rockers recliners in 2014. Paid over 2300.00 for both. Very happy with them until the last couple of months. The frame started separating in the front and then the back. We are in our eighties and seventies and cannot get them down the front 15 stairs. I drilled the frames and sunk a long screw in them. This past week was sitting in mine and the chair clunked down, my husband had to help me out of the chair. Turned it over and there were 3 screws laying on the rug. The plate that holds the heavy springs was completely undone on the top. I replaced the screws and could only get 2 screws down tight but the 3rd one is only half way down. Only 160lbs, what happened to our chairs?? Thank you.

The couch I bought a year and a half ago didn’t last at all, it was horrible. My last set of furniture I purchased in 1997, I still have the walker and I gave the two La-Z-Boy loveseats away and kicked myself for it. I got tired of it. It had gone through me, two of my girls, and I just wanted something new. But when it was recycled back, I’d already purchased that other couch and I didn’t need it. But the quality of La-Z-Boy is far better than anything else. I kept telling my husband I’m not doing junk furniture again. I’m gonna send the money and buy a La-Z-Boy couch.
I recently purchased a sofa from La-Z-Boy and I like it very much. However, we had an issue when they brought it in. It came in damaged. The arm of the couch looked like there was something extremely heavy sitting on it. It pushed the filling on the overstuffed part of the arm. It split down to the wood, but the fabric isn’t compromised at all. I had called the store and they were supposed to set up a service call but I’m disappointed that I haven't heard from anybody yet to see if they could make an adjustment or a correction on it.
Their sales rep and delivery crew were very nice. In terms of cost, you get what you pay for and I don’t have any problems paying what I paid with La-Z-Boy. In fact, if I had to get something else, I would go back there. Overall, I’m very happy with my couch. I like the way it looks, I love the color and the fabric, and it’s very comfortable. I’ve always been very satisfied with La-Z-Boy.

La-Z-Boy did a great job as far as the sale and the product. I bought a sectional sofa, and they delayed the delivery because I needed it delayed since the house was not ready. But, they were on time with the delivery. The guys did a nice job helping put it together and were professional and friendly. I have had the sofa at home for a month already. All in all, it was a good experience and their service was really excellent.

Our furniture was about 14 years old and we needed some new ones. We bought ottomans, a high-leg recliner, and a sectional sofa chair from La-Z-Boy and the sales rep who assisted us was awesome. She showed us all our different options and I loved her because she wasn't pushy. The interior designer who helped us was also great. She came to the house, measured, and helped us put colors together. She even went further to help us with paint colors for our walls and her ideas have worked out wonderfully.
During delivery, there was a little bit of mix-up. They didn't load part of the sectional and it was on the truck from Ohio to come to Pennsylvania. But they called and it was fine. The two guys who delivered the items were really knowledgeable and very nice. They put together the sectional and went over everything with my husband. And when they said they'd be there, they were there. I love the quality of the furniture that we got and we were able to do the friends and family sale at that time so, it was a great deal. But even at the original cost, the products were worth the money. They cost more than other places but they're custom made and La-Z-Boy has someone come help you and measure your room.

Purchased an office chair thinking that La-Z-Boy was good quality & had a good name, wish I had read reviews first, chair is out of warranty & is now peeling on the seat & headrest. Customer service will not help, only thing offered is to buy replacement cushions. Extremely disappointed with product quality. This has had normal use in a home.

I've owned La-Z-Boy's my whole life. I retired and we moved and my other one was looking her up, so I gave it to Goodwill and I didn't move it. We moved into our new home, and I bought a new La-Z-Boy. The sales representative at La-Z-Boy was a very nice young man. My new La-Z-Boy's quality seems as good as I experienced in the past. I'd tell my friends to sit in my La-Z-Boy and it will sell itself.

Leather recliner discolored on headrest, back, arms. This began within months of receiving the chair, and while chair was under the La-Z-Boy warranty. Customer Service process is very fragmented. Finally sent out a new back, but discoloration has progressed, and now chair has a chemical smell in the leather. Have just found other complaints about discolored leather, and customer service issues. This is not the quality of furniture our family expected when paying a lot for a chair.
Our old La-Z-Boy recliners never discolored, so why is this an issue now. It seems La-Z-Boy is faulting the discoloration on the owner who sits in the chair. His previous chair never discolored. This looks like the silhouette of a person in the chair. Now the discoloration has spread and the chair has a chemical odor. It seems that La-Z-Boy has heard of this complaint previously. Customers should be informed that the leather can discolor where the sitter's body makes contact with the chair. We bought the chair to be sat upon, and they told us to cover it up! A brand new chair... Waiting on another service call for them to decide the next step. Meanwhile, we'll likely start looking into an alternate leather chair made by a different company.

I purchased a large recliner. It broke on the right side & the repairs were covered under warranty in the first year. The technician pointed out that the failure was due to a manufacturing defect as the assembly person failed to put all the screws in the mechanism. The chair has failed again in the same right side, Customer service said this was not covered under warranty as the chair was over a year old. I needed to pay $109 for a repairman to come out I was told. I was able to get that down to $78.00 but I pointed out it was a failure on the same side of the chair. This time the rocker base became detached from the base of the chair. The rocker assembly is held in place with screws, glue & dowel pins. The dowel pins had became loose & slid out because there was no glue holding them in like the dowel pins on the left side of the chair.
Once again a failure by the assembly person to build the chair properly was pointed out by the technician. Parts are on order but customer service tried to charge me an additional hours labor @ $109 & a $12.95 handling fee for the parts to fix the chair. I got that fee waived as a One Time Courtesy. I am very disappointed with the quality of this chair, La-Z-Boy needs to improve on their Quality Control. This was not my first purchase of La-Z-Boy furniture but I am quite sure it will be my last.

We went to a furniture store and bought two La-Z-Boys but we had some issues with the swivel base unit that went on the chairs. We put the swivel bases on and right away we sat on them and noticed that the chair leaned forward and we said there was something wrong with it. I took the swivel bases off again, looked at them, reinstalled them in the different holes but that didn't help. So I took them back to the store and right away their comment was that I had to put the bases on backwards. I was like, "You can't. They're pre-drilled one way." They tried to give back the same chairs and when I sat on them, they leaned forward. So we had to return those chairs to that company.
I went to a La-Z-Boy and their reps were really helpful. As a matter of fact, they confirmed what we knew was wrong with our other chairs. The lady there who was the manager said it was a known fact that if you put the base on the wrong chair, they tilt forward instead of leaning back. The first furniture shop I went to had no clue and they were making us seem like the bad guys. La-Z-Boy sold us the glider swivel base chairs and resolved the issue.
We've had the products for three days now and they're okay. We could tell the difference of quality right away with the La-Z-Boy. We replaced similar chairs that we had before. We had those for three years and the backs of the chairs snapped off due to poor manufacturing so we weren't really happy with the quality of those. These are our first La-Z-Boy products and they have metals at the back while the ones we had before had wood back there. My wife and I are average people in the 160 lbs range, we're not 300 lbs people. We're hoping these La-Z-Boy chairs last longer.

I purchased a La-Z-Boy reclining sofa and loveseat 3 years ago because of their reputation for quality furniture. I am so disappointed. I have had to have 2 recliners repaired already using their joke of a lifetime warranty which made me pay over $130 for labor and shipping of the parts each time. I have had other recliners that lasted for years with no issues, but these ones are junk. One of the repairmen even told me that La-Z-Boy recliners are always noisy and junky. My parents also have a set and have had to have theirs repaired as well. NEVER AGAIN will I waste my money on this garbage. Also, the repair person tried to blame me for the broken wood on my footrest and when I requested a different repair person, the woman on the phone gave me attitude. I am not 350 pounds, am not a body builder and I don't jump on my furniture so how is this my fault. This couch was put through normal use only. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Very disappointed in the quality of the two recliners purchased less than two years ago. At the time of purchase, I was told by the sales associate the good thing about this recliner is the microfoam has a 3 year warranty. Purchased one and went back two months later and purchased the second one. Less than two years old the one recliner has completely compressed in one area and is on its way in a second area. Have spoken to several personnel from La-Z-Boy in the last few days.
Received a voice message saying the cost would be 109 per hour plus shipping of 12.95 and if they had to do work in both areas previously discussed it could be 2 hours of labor. Voice message said a discount could be discussed at the time of service call. I refuse to pay for labor and shipping when store personnel told me foam was warranted for 3 years. Why didn't they said you will be charged for labor and shipping.? Not wasted any more time with a company that could not resolve the issue except at my expense. Furniture has not had any abuse. No pets. No kids. Oh well no more business with La-Z-Boy.

We ordered a recliner with the iClean fabric. That fabric was chosen because we have a dog and a cat and the video clip the La-Z-Boy website shows a dog jumping on the furniture and indicates that this fabric is "perfect for homes with pets". Within just a few hours of receiving our chair, we realized that it is NOT pet friendly. The coating that prevents spills from staining also attracts pet hair like no other fabric. This fabric has a sort of stickiness (for lack of a better word) that not only attracts hair but makes it extremely difficult to remove. The super pet rollers don't even work and any vacuum brush I have tried doesn't work either.
The video shows a long haired lab jumping on the chair- that would be a task to try to remove that hair. Even if my dog walks by the chair, the hair almost ends up on it like static cling. I called the store where I purchased the chair and was directed to call corporate. Corporate apologized but said there was nothing I could do since I didn't purchase the protection plan. Not going to purchase another La-Z-Boy product.

Purchased a $2K+ recliner from store in Round Rock, TX. Chair broke within a year. La-Z-Boy arranged repair. 4 months later it was "repaired." HA! Chair broke within weeks and has remained broken. Sent to a expert repairman. Learned chair contains FIBERBOARD--not wood. Very angry!

We got rid of our 20-year-old furniture and needed new ones. La-Z-Boy had an overwhelmingly vast selection, and we purchased a sectional ottoman and some carpets from them. The sales representative was excellent. The sectional is in production, so it's not going to be built and shipped until the end of March. But the carpet and carpet pad are going to be delivered next Wednesday.

When the recliner was delivered, the two men who brought it connected the top and bottom together rather quickly. The chair immediately made loud popping sounds when we put the glider in motion. My husband moved the bottom base to adjust how it lined up to see if it would stop the loud popping because the delivery men acted like it was unusual but didn't know what to do which told us they had limited knowledge of the product. It seemed to help, but now that we have had the chair for a few days, I wish we would have just sent it back. It still pops while gliding and rubs while swiveling and for what this chair cost I expect quality craftsmanship and quiet movement. Disappointed.

La-Z-Boy is a good place to buy recliners. They have good quality ones and we've been purchasing from them for years. We got tired of our old ones. They weren’t right and it was time for them to go. We got two sofas and a loveseat at Mathis Brothers back in January and they were quick and responsive. It was a special order. They’re being made now and they’re supposed to come in April to get the special fabric.

We are very happy with the longevity and the comfort of the La-Z-Boy products. The couch that we replaced was almost 15 years old and it was time to replace it. It was a sectional and one of the recliners had broken. The padding in the seating was really matted down as well. We ordered multiple pieces and we got a call a couple of weeks ago that our furniture was in and that in order to schedule delivery, we needed to pay the balance. I called them back. I spoke with them about the payments and setting up the delivery time. But after they finally took my payment, they notified me that the furniture was not actually all in. Just the couch and the ottoman were in.
So we were still waiting on a chair and a half and the recliner and I had to wait for them to come up, weeks after paying over $3,000 because the furniture wasn’t actually in yet. I didn’t want to take delivery on the two pieces because one of the pieces that wasn’t ready yet was the same fabric and I wanted to make sure the fabric matched. I was supposed to pay the full balance when delivery was ready and it was an easy thing to not happen.
The delivery team was great though. The quality is wonderful. We’ve gotten things in the past from other companies that have been cheaper but that have not been as good of a quality. But I have one issue with a couple of the cushions and I don’t know if they’re overstuffed. There is a piece around the edge of the couch cushions that gives it a rigid corner and one of the cushions is straight but the other two are wavy and curvy. But the delivery guy said that the furniture was really cold and it was wrapped in shrink-wrap so it might take a little bit to smoosh it back into place. Other than that, we’re very happy with the furniture and the customization. We requested firmer cushions and we were able to get the fabric set.

I checked around other places and no one had sectionals that had pillows attached to them except for La-Z-Boy. All the pillows came off the back of the other ones and I didn't like that. I bought a sectional sofa and a table from them and the sales reps I worked with were very helpful. I liked them. My order is coming on Wednesday and I told my husband there are recliners in the couch so he's super excited about that.

Ordered furniture 5 weeks ago, upon delivery realized furniture was the wrong color. In addition, the quality of the furniture was terrible, poor fit and construction on both chairs. The quality is not what you would expect after spending $5400. Customer service number and local store were completely unhelpful. All they could say was "we don't take back custom orders." These are typical recliners in a common color. La-Z-Boy doesn't appear to care about customer service. Beware!

I wanted to change my furniture a bit so I purchased a power reclining sofa from La-Z-Boy. It's a bit pricey but the quality is good. It's worth the price. Their sales rep made me buy the sofa so he was good at selling it. I went to a lot of different places and I didn't like the way they sell and most of the items only do the legs up. With La-Z-Boy, it goes all the way back and I like that. The delivery team was good too. They reminded me a day before that they were coming and they called me an hour before they got here. They showed me how to use everything. However, one of the recliners is making a bit of a noise when it goes up and down so I got an issue with that. I was going to call, either the store or the warranty company, to see if I could get an appointment so they could come out and check it out.

A few weeks ago, I purchased a few pillows, arm caps, and a power recliner from La-Z-Boy. They have a good name and I understand that the quality of their products is very good. They also had a lot of options for me with materials. I worked with several of their sales reps and I had no problem with any of them. They were all very helpful. Right now, I'm waiting for another six to eight weeks for my order to come in because it's a custom order. And when it does, I will schedule a delivery.

We've had La-Z-Boy furniture for 30 years but it was wearing out so we purchased a loveseat and recliners from them again. Their sales reps were very good. When we were in the store, I told the sales representative about one of our old La-Z-Boy recliners that has a problem. She told me to look for the product number or part number, gave me a phone number to call La-Z-Boy so I could tell them what’s wrong and they possibly could send the replacement parts. Also, the delivery team was pleasant, courteous and cheerful. And although the cost of the furniture was a little high, but that’s La-Z-Boy’s pricing line and the quality seems okay so far. I would tell a friend how long we’ve had different products, how well La-Z-Boy seemed to stand up and that it’d be worthwhile just to look at La-Z-Boy compared to any other brands.

I was helped by Cathy at the Annapolis La-Z-Boy and she was excellent. She helped me pick out fabric that would coordinate with the chairs and the couches. The sofas and chairs I got were fairly priced and I got them on sale for 30% off. I was very happy with the experience. They said it would take about 10 weeks but I got the furniture in just about six weeks. So, I was very pleased and everything went very well with the delivery. They were cheerful, accommodating, they set everything up, took all the wrappings, and left the house in a fine shape. I have recommended La-Z-Boy to a friend of mine.

I've been a customer of La-Z-Boy since 1996. One of my recliners from them was five years old and my other stuff was as old as 1970s and '80s, so it was time to get some new furniture. The sales team worked really hard with me because I found a pattern that I liked and couldn’t get it in the recliner. So we had to look for another pattern. They really had their hands full with me because I can be challenging. But it worked out very well.
The designer came out to the house and she gave me pictures of how it would look. She was very patient with me, and everything arrived on time, which was pleasant. But with my last experience five years ago, one of the chairs I had was not as great and I swore I was never gonna go back into La-Z-Boy after that. So, it was a great improvement. I’m enjoying the furniture. It’s comfortable and beautiful.

I've had La-Z-Boy in my home for 10 years. I have a couch, a loveseat, recliner and a chair that I bought 10 years ago. And then I went and bought the bookcases, the TV stands, a sofa table and a rug. I kept the furniture I had bought because it's in perfect condition and went back for more. The quality of their furniture is excellent. I deal with a store in Niles, Ohio and Lexi, the person that come out to my house totally helped me make up my mind, brought stuff to my house, set it up and did my bookcases. I cannot say enough good about her. Also Angela in the store was very helpful to me too.
I had applied for 12 months, same as cash with my original purchase. When I bought more stuff I asked her if I could get the 24-month, same as cash and she took care of that for me. And I have two more people, Jason and Michael who were the delivery people, were fantastic. They took their shoes off, which is major to me when they delivered my furniture. And they helped me set everything up and they were just excellent. With La-Z-Boy you get what you pay for so I’m happy. If a friend should ask I would tell them to come look at my living room and they’ll see how beautiful it is and they would want to go to La-Z-Boy..

We recently purchased a power recliner from La-Z-Boy. I bought one 20 years ago, then our needs changed and we had another room that needed another recliner. It was all very good with the sales representatives and I have no qualms at all about recommending La-Z-Boy and their sales staff. The sales reps were very helpful. They explained the product and how to use it, as well as the warranty. In addition, the price was very good.
On the other hand, the delivery staff leaves a lot to be desired because it took them 11 days to get our recliner over a distance of a quarter mile and that was inexcusable. Also, they charged a hundred bucks for the delivery. I could have rented a truck for an hour and a half for 19.95 bucks, gone to Home Depot, and got the chair myself. But I couldn't get it in since I'm 74 years old, with a bad back. When I purchased the recliner, I didn't know all that about the delivery or I would not have purchased it. The sales representative didn't explain that to me until after all the paperwork had been signed, and then he said, "Let's set up a delivery date." When the delivery guys finally came, they weren't here three minutes.
I've only had the recliner for some weeks, so it's hard to tell at this point how its quality is, but the product looks good to last. La-Z-Boy was recommended to us by a neighbor and I would also recommend them to people, but I'd also make sure that they understood that it might take up to two weeks at least to get their purchase delivered. I would recommend the sales staff, but I would be very cautious about the delivery.

We haven't purchased any furniture in a while so we went to a La-Z-Boy showroom and it was convenient. When we first walked in, we weren't attacked like we were on other furniture stores and we like that. But then later on, we were looking for a sales associate and we couldn't find any. We purchased a new recliner then picked it up in three days. The showroom didn't have a lot of facilities for picking it up but it still worked out really well and was easy. It was readily available from the warehouse. The quality of the furniture as well as the cost is good. La-Z-Boy has good stuff and others should try them out and stop there.

Purchased Sofa and Loveseat with Ottoman (We bought La-Z-Boy for Quality... paid more for quality). First two months we had issues with cushions and ottoman (We're not large people and not abusing the furniture.) Cushions replaced and Ottoman repaired. Several months later we noticed the sofa and loveseat falling apart. (Seams coming apart and springs not what they should be. Cushioning on arms going flat really fast to the point where it's hard wood against arm, cushions don't even match up properly on loveseat, can stick your hand in between almost without touching cushions). In the midst of seasonal holidays and life gets busy, didn't call right away expecting I had a robust warranty (as I was sold by the sales rep).
Now we've just gone over the initial year warranty and pushed into extended warranty. They will repair (8 hours labour) but I have to pay for parts? REALLY?!! Three weeks gone by and I don't even know how much this extra cost is yet I have to agree with it to proceed? REALLY?! If I go ahead, who pays for my time to take a day off work to babysit? I call customer service and they push me to corporate. Corporate pushes me back to franchisee. Willing to have the repair completed under two conditions. 1) I do not pay for parts. 2) If the repair does not last any longer than one year I get a new sofa and loveseat. If I were to do it again... I'd go to a cheap place and replace my furniture every two years. Apparently I'd be doing this anyway with La-Z-Boy, only difference would be that I'd have more money in my pocket and I wouldn't have wasted so much time.

My husband told me that one of the connector features to the sectional were missing on the couch I got from La-Z-Boy. While the delivery went well, the couch itself is missing a part and I'm a little bit discouraged that I've had the couch since early February and it won't be functional until late March. I had a service all with them for that issue but their repairman didn't show up. He didn't call me to let me know he wasn't coming either.
I called La-Z-Boy and the woman who was helping me initially said that she wasn't quite clear why the repairman didn't show up. She also said that the next available appointment would be in April. And so, I scheduled it for that month. But then, I got a call back from customer care and they explained that the repairman had a medical emergency and that was why he didn't show up. They then gave me an earlier service date in March.
Still, I would've liked if somebody called me and said that the repairman had an emergency because his arrival required me to check off from work and be home. As expensive as La-Z-Boy is, I want their product to be complete. Nevertheless, La-Z-Boy's representatives have been very professional and helpful. The quality of their product is great and their service is adequate. This couch is the second large purchase from La-Z-Boy. I highly recommend them.

The salesperson was pretty good. She told us that all of La-Z-Boy stuff is stain-resistant and they can get us whatever we needed. And she really helped me through the process. The designer who came to my house felt very confident that the delivery people would know exactly how to set things up and it seemed like it would be a very seamless process. The delivery men were great, but I was under the impression that they would have the same layout as I was given. And that was not really the case. I had to tell them where to put everything and how to set it up but I thought that was just a little bit of a miscommunication or a misunderstanding. But they were very nice and they were on time and called in advance.
I love the couch and the chair is really good too. My husband told me that if he sat down too hard, he can feel the bones of the chair a little bit. But I'm still happy with it. I paid a hefty tank for my furniture so I definitely expect it to hold up and to be pretty resilient. Overall, I had a pretty good experience with La-Z-Boy and I would recommend them.

We bought a furniture set from Sears about four years ago. Then my wife said we needed furniture and everything in all the other stores were cheap crap. So we purchased some tables, a console cabinet, and accessories from La-Z-Boy and the quality is good. The sales representatives were almost too nice and helpful. They didn't feel that they were doing enough yet they were doing well more than what they really needed to. They figured out what we could do, what options we had, setting up the room, and left no stone unturned. If I let them keep going, I probably would have bought more. Then, the delivery process was fine. So anytime we're looking for furniture, La-Z-Boy will be one of our stops.

I like the La-Z-Boy recliners and I had one for at least 10 years. Then I got a Catnapper, which didn't last as long and it destroyed itself. So, I purchased a new La-Z-Boy recliner but it was too big for me so we exchanged it. The La-Z-Boy sales representatives I've had were very nice and they try to be as helpful as they knew how to be. The furniture has been delivered and the delivery guy was very helpful and nice. The showrooms are very expensive looking and while the recliner is expensive, it has good quality. It's either comfortable or strong that last longer than most. I would recommend La-Z-Boy.

I give you as a company a 2 star review. You do receive one star as your furniture is comfortable. However, I have owned a recliner of yours for 3 years and the rocking mechanism is starting to squeak. I was initially sold on La-Z-Boy because of the warranty that comes with the furniture as well as the extended warranty which I paid for in addition to. When trying to fix the squeak through your warranty program I was told you charge 125$ an hour for labor plus pickup and delivery.
So what I take this to mean is your warranty is subsidized by your insane hourly rate. I pay graduate degreed software developers less than that in my daily job. I will surely not pay 125$ an hour for some guy to spray some lubricant on the mechanism. Long story short, I will be buying all furniture someplace else from now on as I feel scammed. You should not advertise such a robust warranty as it is surely expensive to redeem and only covers the cheapest part of any repair - the parts. Shame on you guys.

I had a good experience with La-Z-Boy, and the only thing that I didn't like is that I had to wait for about three months because there were specific things that I wanted. But the quality was very nice. It's a little expensive but the price matches the quality of the leather and it's worth it.

I bought La-Z-Boy sleeper and recliner about 20 years ago. It was getting too hard for me to get in and out of it because it was kind of sunken down. But I had it all these years and it’s been a good couch. 20 years is pretty good. It's a lasting couch and I’m going to give it to one of my friends because it’s still in good shape. I hated to get rid of it but it’s time for a new one.
The minute I walked in the store the manager was right there and she was very, very helpful. There were other people in there and she just came up, asked me what I was looking for and she took me right to it. She told me the different deals. She let me pick out which one I like the best. It turned out to be this one I ordered and I like everything. They had the material already and I just picked out the color. It was already made and I like the way it felt compared to the other two that I sat on I didn’t really care for. One was really hard to get out of which is exactly the problem I had. The new one, this one I purchased, it should be easier to get in and out of. And it felt like you had the support in the back on it so it was really nice. And then I asked her about a coffee table so she showed me a coffee table too. So I ended up purchasing a coffee table. They had a fairly nice discount on it.
The customer relations was also very good. She wasn’t pushy at all. She explained to me about the credit on there. I was going to pay cash and she said credit. So I applied for it and got approved. It’s a little expensive but going with what I had on my original one that’s lasted 20 years, I figured it’s better than going to one of these other little stores to buy one that you’d throw a couch out every three months or every three years or something like that. I think it’s made good. Since it’s a sleeper sofa it fits my needs.
La-Z-Boy did a good job and they have a good product. I would tell friends to come sit on my La-Z-Boy. My son was over here and he saw my recliner and he said, “Are you getting rid of the recliner too?” And I go, “No. I’m keeping that.” But he wanted it because it is a good recliner. It’s comfortable. When I got it 20 years ago, the same time as the couch, the only thing I was surprised with was that the back doesn’t come on it when you get it delivered. It was two pieces then they put the back on. But it has been a good couch. It hadn’t fallen apart and I would recommend it to anybody. I was surprised the store was still there because they moved it where it was at. They moved it over to a little shopping mall and they have a nice layout and lots of products to choose from.

The cargo furniture in our family room was 40 years old, and though it looks fine, you just want something new after a while. The sales rep at La-Z-Boy was Melissa and she was very helpful, nice and personable. She wasn’t pushy which I liked. She was also there if I needed her. We were going to go look up other places because La-Z-Boy was our first stop, but we came right back to her and everything worked out fine. Also, the manager was really nice.
We purchased a power sofa and a power loveseat, and we had La-Z-Boy deliver them because it had to come down the hill and around the back of the house to get where it had to go. It started snowing when they came and even though it wasn’t a whole lot, they had to walk through the snow. It was amazing how strong they were. There were just two guys and I couldn’t believe it. It was great. After they brought the furniture, they set it up and showed us how it’s supposed to work, and we were good to go. The quality of the furniture is wonderful and the cost was reasonable. There was also a policy where if we found it cheaper within 30 days, they would give us the difference. We did that and they gave us a refund.

Barrett Power Recliner La-Z-Recliner Full Reclining with Console - The reclining sections on the console and the full couch are separating at the wooden framework on the back sections. The recliners leave to the left outside edge and the right outside edge on the opposite end. The seat cushions are collapsing, and they are hurtful to our backs. We love these couches, but need help on getting them fixed. Whenever anyone sits in them, they lean heavily toward the outside (Left or right).

We turned one of our bedrooms into a sitting room and we took a bed out and put a sofa bed instead. We went to La-Z-Boy in Boardman and our first experience with them wasn't that great. It took too long because they forgot to put the order in and it was supposed to be four to six weeks delivery time. And six weeks went along, we hadn't heard anything. So, we called them and the order was never put in. They eventually put the order in and we had to wait for another six weeks to get the sofa bed.
When we went this time to order the chair, we wanted to make sure they got the order in. And they must have got the order in because they called and told us they were going to deliver the chair tomorrow. So, that's pretty good. But the only thing is that we ordered the chair with arm covers and they're way behind. It would be a couple more weeks before they got around to them. So we have to go back to the store when they call us to pick up the arm covers. La-Z-Boy has always been pretty good product. But their delivery charge is a little outrageous. Most of the furniture stores around here deliver for nothing if you went there and spent $500 or $5,000. But La-Z-Boy charged us $90 for a 20-mile delivery.

I have 3 La-Z-Boy recliners. One is a small size swivel, rocker recliner. As a matter of fact I have had this chair since the 70's and I love it so much. I have had it reupholstered twice and thinking of having it done again. The other one is a regular size recliner I have had for over 10 years and love it, too.

Have a big man's chair from La-Z-Boy. Besides sliders broke on it. Call La-Z-Boy to see about getting parts. They have a third party company that sucks out of Texas. So I call him to set up a repair service. They tell me a guy will be out to fix my chair. I asked if he had you the parts I needed. I told me that he carry Parts on his van. So the guy that shows up at my house doesn't even drive up there and drive some little car carrying no parts and taking pictures with his phone. Then this guy proceeded to tell me that he takes it or calls them our since the place in Texas the photos and they will order the parts and La-Z-Boy will send them to me.
5 days later I hear from no one so I call just to get the runaround from both sides La-Z-Boy and the furniture repair place. One told me to call the other. Anyways finally got it situated so it cost me $100 for the guy to come out and fix the chair. Some lifetime warranty right? And then another $15 to have the parts shipped to my house. What happened to La-Z-Boy man? Used to be I could go get parts myself do it myself. They are so scamming and just their piece of ** anymore. Buyer beware do not buy La-Z-Boy they are not what they used to be. They make you think they are there very deceptive. Start looking someplace else because La-Z-Boy sucks anymore sorry to say. I used to be a big La-Z-Boy guy but not anymore their Furniture falls apart it don't last like it used to. Just got to see the quality of workers they have and you'll know why.

Our La-Z-Boy sofa was damaged during delivery or during production somewhere, and we're still waiting to get that resolved. But the damage is the same exact one on our stuff when we got it seven years ago. Back then, it took four times to resolve so I'm not thrilled right now. We were a little wary of using La-Z-Boy again but we thought it couldn't happen again, and yet it did. So that's going to give us pause to think next time. Otherwise, the salespeople were all great and helpful. They bent over backwards to get things rolling. The delivery guys were great too. They were on time and friendly.

My husband's 80 years old, I'm 77, and we felt it was a good time to have something that's worthwhile. We wanted the best and we wanted comfort. And we went to La-Z-Boy and we're enjoying the furniture that we got from them. We had a nice and young sales representative, and he was very attentive, informative, helpful, and answered all of our questions. He was very professional, too. So, we were impressed. The delivery guys were very quick and efficient, strong, and they set the furniture in before we could blink our eyes. They were very good. It's difficult to get to our place, so we had to give them special instructions to get in here because we live in a private lane behind the cemetery. But they got in and did a good job, and they were very encouraging and polite. We enjoyed having them here. We love our furniture. The quality is tops and my husband and I are very satisfied. La-Z-Boy is the best and we are so grateful.

Our furniture's really, really old and it's been handed down through my family from the 90's so we thought we'd purchase something new. We purchased a sectional sofa from La-Z-Boy and their rep was very attentive. She checks notes which I like because she’s asking questions and trying to find out what would suit us best. She wasn't pushy at all. She let us sit on anything so that was fantastic. She was very helpful too. My husband's really really tall and she's taller than me. So I let her sit in and see where her head comes up too. Also, I had measured the couch we have now which is perfect and she found two of the right size for us that would be good for my husband’s height.
So far, we haven't scheduled a delivery yet because they said it's going to take four to six weeks to make. We purchased it on the 23rd of January and it’ll be six weeks on March 3rd or so. But ever since we bought the furniture, we have not heard from anybody there at all. It's like, "Thanks for your money but we'll talk to you in six weeks or eight weeks from now or whenever we feel like calling you." They should at least touch base with us and say "We haven't forgotten about you. We're just checking in and let you know that it's still being made." And that's good customer service right there. Hopefully, with any luck, the actual sales person put the order in and it's actually being made.
Also, the prices are a bit high but I get that it's high because they wanted to pay their workers. But I also do realize that I could have gone anywhere else and get exceptional for a quarter of the price. Hopefully, everything will work out well and there won't be issues. I did see some bad reviews online for their customer service when you actually get the furniture so I was a little leery after the fact but I'm hoping that everything works out so well.

My family and I had just moved into our new house and we were in need of upgrading the furniture that we had for about eight years. La-Z-Boy had a great promotion going on and with the promotion and the credit line, it was a good opportunity to help out my family and brighten up our rooms. The sales rep was amazing from beginning to end. She was always attentive and walked us around. Even when we didn’t know what we wanted, she knew what we wanted and pointed us in the right direction. And no matter how many times we changed our mind or kept looking around, she was patient and listened to everything we had to say.
Also, the delivery guys were wonderful people, very professional, and quick. They asked us where exactly we wanted the furniture, set it up, built the recliner for us, and talked to us for a little bit. Since getting our furniture, we've loved it. We think the quality is amazing compared to what we had before. Without a doubt, I would definitely go back to La-Z-Boy in the future whenever we need furniture and recommend them over anybody. They answered all our questions and didn’t hide anything. It was a good experience.

We orders two La-Z-Boy recliners in Oct 2017. One of them was supposed to be a rocker/recliner/power lumbar. The recliners arrived Nov 22, 2017 but the one recliner did not have a rocker. We contacted the furniture store and they said a technician would call to see if they could add parts to make it a rocker. After four weeks the Technician said it couldn't be done that the chair would have to be reordered. The local furniture store reordered the rocker/recliner/power lumbar chair the last week of Dec 2017. It is now 8 weeks later and still we have no chair. The local furniture store said they see the order but there is some type of hold up at La-Z-Boy, maybe they are out of the material. Very dissatisfied. It is now 5 months, they have our money and we do not have our La-Z-Boy rocker recliner.

My La-Z-Boy recliner was also a vibrating recliner. It was a rocker/recliner and not very expensive. I believe it cost about $600, but that was over 20 years ago. It lasted about ten years and I really enjoyed it.

I bought a La-Z-Boy furniture 20 years ago and when I moved, I decided to purchase a new one. The salespeople in the Monroeville store were all great and real helpful. They knew everything and when they came to the house, the made up a diagram and did everything. Then the delivery team came and put the furniture down, put it together and plugged it into the wall then off they went. The cost is a little high but it's not that bad and the quality is good so far.

We were redoing a room and as part of redecorating, we purchased new furniture. We recently got a recliner, sectional, and sofa from La-Z Boy. The decorator that came to the house and helped us was excellent. But the salesperson, Amy, was a little slow. She was good but she didn't facilitate the process the way she should have. There were some problems with getting our purchase finalized and processed through the computer and the problem could either be with her or with the computer system. Then, at one point, a La-Z Boy salesperson was talking about the fabric care kit but didn't tell us its price far enough in advance, then seemed unhappy that we wouldn't take it as I thought it was highly overpriced.
Right now, our furniture order is on hold. We were supposed to get a second sample and that just arrived this afternoon in the mail, although it had been ordered three weeks ago and we expected it to be here by now because we needed it to determine the matching for ordering the carpeting. Overall, La-Z Boy was good, except for some issues, and our experience with them was a little bit above average. They have a good product that's made in America and we've had a good experience with the furniture that we have already bought from them. We've had La-Z Boy furniture in our home for 15 years. We bought four La-Z Boy pieces and they're going to be given away to family members because they're still in good shape, except for the sofa whose fabric has worn to the point that it should be replaced.

This is a real mom review. I tested out the iClean fabric in silver gray. First I did a simple water test and it was amazing. Beaded up on the surface like advertised! Then I tried foods frequently consumed in my house such as hot sauce, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter and jelly, chocolate, cheese puffs etc. I let my two year old try his luck with the fabric. Like I said this is a real mom review, every mom reading this knows their children don’t “drop” food on mess free. No my two year old ate his sandwich in the kitchen following the rules, but escaped before I could wipe his hands, again moms will nod their heads in agreement. He wiped his hands on, smeared it around and did god knows what else. When I got to him in the minute it took to get a wet paper towel and grab him I saw the damage. I followed the cleaning directions to a T! Dawn is recommended and that’s exactly what I used. It got the stain out for the most part.
No matter how hard I tried I couldn’t get the remainder of the stain out. Next I let my oldest child (my husband???) try it out. He loves hot sauce, and can never to save his life keep it on the plate. When he’s shaking it out it goes everywhere. Followed directions. Used Dawn, really tried to get the stain out. No luck. Even tried throughout the day. Nothing worked! Finally it was time for the homemade Irish meat sauce. We had spaghetti and sauce, my husband joked about accidentally spilling sauce on it, made a dramatic jerk and well let’s just say it wasn’t a joke. Picked it up just like advertised. Took forever but got the majority of the stain out but there’s forever a faint stain. And if I’m correct it’ll darken over time when normal dust and dirt and whatever collects on it.
Now I let the fabric dry completely after each cleaning because yes, it did stay damp. So full night of no use and plenty of time to dry. I walked over and with a glass of water I dribbled a small amount of water in the areas that had been cleaned and dried, wanna know the results? The areas that had been stained, cleaned and dried didn’t repel the water anymore! It soaked right into the fabric!! I was so shocked. Just to make sure I wasn’t mistaken I poured a tiny amount of water on an area that hadn’t been touched and the water beaded up! But the areas that had been touched no longer repelled the water. In conclusion I would not recommend for moms with kids or messy husbands!!

On 12-11-17 my wife and I went to the La-Z-Boy store in Fairfield, Calif. and ordered two new recliners. We realized at the time that we were placing special orders and they could take the entire eight weeks to be delivered. At eight weeks I called the store and talked to our salesman, Michael **. After a period of time Mr ** called me back and said they had run out of the desired material and therefore hadn't started on the order. I questioned why I hadn't been called and advised of this and was not given an answer. I told him to use his discretion and order a color close to the one I had ordered. Now we are nearly twelve weeks since the order was placed, and paid for, and I haven't so much as had an apology, an explanation or a possible delivery date. I have since found out that I have lung cancer and this situation certainly doesn't help. I expect a phone call with an apology and a delivery date. My next option is to seek redress in a court of law.

We purchased a La-Z-Boy because my husband needed a recliner. Jose, the store manager, was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The only thing was, on delivery, the recliner did not recline on the left side. So, they put it in for service to come out and a serviceman did. And it was that the delivery men had not hooked up a cable. After they left, I found a nut and a bolt and I was suspicious. I thought it might have come from my couch and it did.
When the serviceman was there, he took a picture of it. He said that they would send me that piece and if I liked, someone would come put it on for me or I could do it myself. I said I would do it myself and he showed me where it went and how to do it. I had not gotten that piece yet. But everything else is fine. This is our second purchase from La-Z-Boy and I’m happy with them. They’re good quality and I knew what I was buying.

We moved into a new house about three times the size of our old house, so we have a lot more room for new furniture. We bought a sofa, a dining table, a bench, dining chairs, chair rugs and recliners from La-Z-Boy. Our experience up to the sales part was really positive and the interactions were very smooth. The same person who did the sales also did our design work and helped us pick out the fabrics, the leather and the different finishes for things. But I was surprised that after the sale and as soon as I've spent my money, I didn’t hear from anybody. I scheduled a delivery and I always had to call and check on it. And when I would call, nobody really understood at the store which items I had or when they would be coming.
Every time they promised that they were coming, a few weeks would go by, so then I would call and they would say, "Oh, yes. It's ready for delivery." But they didn't give us a call. That was a waiting period of six to eight weeks for the custom pieces and they came in pretty close to that, but I had to call to find out that way the furniture was ready. I expected that as soon as they knew things already, they would call me. So, it turned into a bit of a mess and I felt that it just really fell off the radar even though we spent thousands and thousands of dollars. I did not expect special treatment for that, but certainly, I did expect they would follow through with what they promised.
But when the delivery finally came, it was quick and easy. The delivery team did a really good job and they were nice guys. They were very careful with our new house too. I like everything we've purchased so far. There are only two chairs, which are among the ones that go with our dining room table, that I'm not super happy with because I don't feel like they're quite as sturdy. Otherwise, everything else has been amazing.

We ordered a sectional on January 6, here it is March 1st and we are not being told it is not going to ship to the warehouse until March 8 and then it will be another 5-10 days for delivery. I guess one piece had to be redone, if that is the case this should have been expedited. Very frustrating, we are going to cancel the order and go to Haverty's.

Bought a La-Z-Boy recliner in 2011. The fabric on the foot rest area kept wearing out, even though I almost always wear socks when I sit in it. Repaired free 1x and then they told me it was my fault, but would give no reason as to why they thought that. Not hard on our furniture, no pets or little kids so should have lasted. Will never ever buy La-Z-Boy brand again.

I'm 75 and married for 54 years and I've always had La-Z-Boy. My husband had passed away and I wanted new La-Z-Boys which we were going to purchase. But he had been very sick and he told me to wait until he goes then I could set up the living room the way I wanted. Because all those years, I had done everything like he wanted things done. He picked out the furniture colors and I let it be. We have a 160-year-old house and he went with that but I wanted to go with the modern look. The La-Z-Boy people were all very nice. They were very good and upfront. I ordered five tables, the pillows, a chair, an ottoman, two La-Z-Boys and a couch. The only problem I have is this rug.
When they brought the rug and put it down on top of my carpeting, it was wrinkled and I told them I didn't like it. It looks terrible but I was told that it was because of the cold and that it would straighten out in the warmth of the house. Everyone says it's way too big for the room and it doesn’t lay right. We even thought of moving the rug to another room but it's too big for any other room so I'm stuck with it. But it would lay down flat, it'll be all right. However, I can't pick up the furniture, because it's too heavy, and straighten the rug out. Men are coming tomorrow to bring the rest of the furniture that weren't ready to come out the last time, and I'm going to have them help me. Other than that, the delivery team was very accommodating and both boys were very nice. La-Z-Boy is the best quality furniture in the world. But you've got to pay for what you get. I could’ve gone down the street and got furniture at half the price, but I would’ve had half the quality.

I got a chair from La-Z-Boy and I’m satisfied with it. It helps me get up and I can get my feet up about as high as my heart because my feet swell badly. I was very pleased with the sales rep that I worked with and he helped pick out some colors. It took a little time to have the order for the colors of the chair, but I got what I wanted. The cost was high, but I'm very well pleased with the quality. There were a lot of chairs that was cheaper, but I got what I thought was better and it suits me.

I was replacing all the old La-Z-Boy furniture that was 16 years old with new ones, and the salesladies there were very helpful. They helped me decide and pick out different colors and things to go with my home. They were also very patient with me. Delivery was great as well. I scheduled it, then they called the day before. And then even after that, they called an hour ahead of time and let me know that they were getting close. The quality of the furniture is great and I'd recommend La-Z-Boy.

We placed an order with La-Z-Boy in December 2017. We purchased 2 couches and 3 recliners for close to $ 12,000. Our experience during the actual purchase was great and we had a fantastic sales rep. However, our experience since then has been nothing but awful. We were told, it would take 6-8weeks for our order to arrive. Finally, after 9 weeks, we at least received a part of order. We had 3 recliners delivered, 2 of them were so damaged, that we refused delivery and sent them back with the delivery team. The delivery team was very unprofessional and complained about having to take the order back! The recliners were sent back to the warehouse and we were promised a phone call within 48hrs. That of course didn't happen and I ended up having to go to the store as it was impossible to get the manager on the phone.
Yesterday, I was told, our second couch would be delivered this week and that I would receive a call about a 3 hour time frame for the following day. That call never came, so I inquired at our local store just to find out that they forgot to put us on to the delivery schedule!! So now I have to wait an extra week for the couch to be delivered. It's been almost 12 weeks since our purchase and even after having paid in full, I'm left with one functioning recliner and a broken couch. I will never purchase from La-Z-Boy again and will definitely not recommend them to others.

Love my chair and don't want a new one. I've rocked all 3 children in this chair and would like it fixed. It was purchased in JUL 1988 at the NEX (USNavy) in Scotland. There is a stamp "399" on the footstool. Where can I take it for repair in Indianapolis.?

Within 6 months of taking delivery on this $2,200+, on sale price, l leather recliner there were problems. The seat began to lean to the left, large indentations in the leg rest as well as where my back rests. Oh, and one of the corners on the top of the back was wearing through the leather. I could feel the hard frame as there isn't any padding. There is padding on the opposite corner. Everyone who sees this chair can't believe it's less than a year old as it's sagging all over and looks 20 years old, These problems increasingly grew worse and the chair is uncomfortable to sit in so 10 months after taking delivery, I called the Salem, Oregon La-Z-Boy store where I paid cash for the chair.
Their response was to send out a tech who told me he could add stuffing to the seat, back, and leg rest - the same stuffing used when originally making the chair. Why would I want the same defective stuffing put in which will only flatten again? This isn't a satisfactory fix. I'll be paying for an independent repair person to come out and evaluate this because La-Z-Boy isn't holding up their part of the warranty. I'll never buy from La-Z-Boy again nor will the friends who have seen this $2,200+ defective chair.
Updated on 03/27/2018: I see my unresolved complaint now has a red comment, "Factual Basis Uncertain," which I don't understand. After filing the complaint, I received a timely response from La-Z-Boy asking for the ACK#, which I immediately provided. Their next response said I needed to respond... so I resent the ACK#. I never heard back so called the local La-Z-Boy store who had no information about my filing a complaint with Consumer Affairs and referred me to customer service. They too had no information about my complaint or La-Z-Boy's response. I was told to contact Comfort Care, which I have done. The woman also told me that the tech who came to my home wrote I would be having a 3rd party repair the chair. I corrected that by stating I told him I would have a 3rd party come to give me their opinion - not to repair the chair.
It's now been more than a month since I contacted La-Z-Boy with my warranty problem and concern about their wanting to replace the stuffing with the same defective stuffing. It's been almost a month since I filed my complaint with this site and La-Z-Boy responded asking for additional information, which I provided. I'm still waiting for their response and customer service knows nothing. Now, La-Z-Boy, I have an additional complaint... why are you saying, "Factual Basis Uncertain?" I feel like this company is calling me a liar. La-Z-Boy, what facts are questionable?

Make sure you are 100% sure of your La-Z-Boy purchase before you let them leave your home if you have them deliver your item. We purchased two La-Z-Boy chairs and were not happy with them as soon as I sat in it, but I was told that you only have 3 days to return your product. They charge 30% of what you pay to return them. The manager was absolutely no help with my problem at all. She belittled me and told me it would take a couple of months to break in the chair, when I only have 3 days to return it. I will tell everyone that I had a horrible experience with the La-Z-Boy chair. We had waited so long for nice chairs, but the chairs did not meet my expectations and they were very expensive.

I've purchased from La-Z-Boy before and I've had their products in my home for 25 years. But my old stuff were pretty worn out so I decided to buy new ones. Their salesperson mentioned that someone could come to my house to see what would fit in my space and I took advantage of that. So, their designer came by, took the measurements, and made suggestions on things that would work in my room. Then, she put together a computer layout for me and I ended up buying the things that she suggested. That service was pretty helpful if you need several pieces separately and I was satisfied with my experience.
When my order was delivered, the guys who came out didn't speak English very well, so it was hard to tell them where to put things. And I couldn't really understand what they were saying. That was kind of awkward and we just redid things once my husband got home. So they should include at least one person that speaks English really well in their delivery team. That way, they would understand what the customer is saying and the customer could also understand what they're saying.
So far, the reclining sofa seems flimsy to me. When you stand next to it and hold the back, you can shake it and it would shake the whole thing. So it doesn't seem very sturdy and it could be constructed with better quality materials to make it better. If this sofa doesn't last about a couple of years, then it was a really bad buy for me because I spent a lot of money on it. So I hope it would last at least 10 years and stay looking nice. But I'd have to wait and see what happens. Other than that, the other chairs I bought seemed fine. I would recommend La-Z-Boy. Their furniture's quality is what you get anywhere else and they didn't look cheap. They also seemed like they had a nice selection of things that looked nice. Plus, their showroom had everything there so you could look at everything.

I just purchased a La-Z-Boy Lift Recliner from the Rockville Center store for $1199.99 plus tax and shipping. I called the next day after it was delivered and spoke to Steve (my salesman). He was very polite and helpful. I told him I wanted to return it. He said he would talk to the manager. The chair is very uncomfortable. No matter what position it is in you slide out of it. The manager said I would have to pay a 30 percent restocking fee of $360.00. I have returned merchandise before and never paid more than a 10 percent restocking fee. 30 percent is absurd and he would only give me a store credit. Total purchase $1388.15.

I special ordered a recliner for my husband's birthday a few years ago. The first chair I got was visibly crooked and mechanically misaligned. The second chair was straight but now the back is coming off and the back cushion is separating from the frame. I believed the hype about the quality of La-Z-Boy products. Never ever again!! This chair is a fabric recliner for which I paid close to 1000.00. I got ripped off.

I was having surgery and I needed a nice recliner to sleep in. I bought a power recliner from La-Z-Boy, and I love it. It is so comfortable, and I like all the features on it - the recliner, the backseat, etc. It is just a great chair and a good piece of furniture. The rep was wonderful. I told her what I wanted and she showed me what was available. Then she said, "Just browse and let me know what you like, if you have any questions." Also, I really appreciate not being coerced and not being gotten to one thing or another. And once I made my choice, she pointed out all those features and it was everything I was looking for.
However, it would have been better if there was a bigger sale price, but that was ok. It is a wonderful chair if you get what you pay for, and it is worth the investment. I had the furniture delivered and it came way ahead of schedule. The team that delivered it was very good too. The next time I’m in the market for new furniture, I will go there for sure. If you go into the store, you are going to have a very friendly environment, beautiful store, huge selection. And once you’ve made your choice, it’s another huge selection on how you want it finished with fabrics. It has just been a wonderful place to shop. I can’t imagine going in there and not finding what you want.

We just moved into a house, so we needed furniture. It was really great with the La-Z=Boy sales reps. We had a designer come out to our house to help us with the room and they did the sketch on the computer so we could see how everything was going to fit in. They were really helpful. We ordered the furniture at the end of November and it wasn’t ready until January.
It would’ve been nice if we could’ve gotten a call in between then to let us know the status of it because I never heard from them. I called them at beginning of January to see where it was and they were like, “Oh, actually we could set up your delivery now.” I had to initiate but I’m sure they would have called me. We were just anxious to get it. My husband was home during the delivery and he was really happy with how it was packaged, how professional the delivery team was, and how they took off their shoes. He was just really impressed with them. And we’re happy with our furniture. It was expensive, so we are hoping it will last for a long time.

I purchased a couch from La-Z-Boy about 20 years ago and it lasted that long. I have an in-home daycare and my kids have all used the couch, but it had no stains. Recently, I bought a table and accessories. I love the quality and I don’t have any problem with them. Everything is guaranteed. The reps at the store were great too. They were there. If you don't want to talk to them, you just tell them, "No. I'm just looking," and they will say, "Okay," and leave you alone. If you have a question, you can go find one and they are going to answer it.
They'll also tell you when the stuff will be on sale. When I was going to purchase tables, I went back on a Friday evening and the rep told me that the next day would be their VIP sale and if I could come back, I could save quite a bit of money. So, I went back the next day, got the tables and was proud of myself. Then when La-Z-Boy delivered the furniture, they brought the pieces in and put them where we wanted. I have recommended La-Z-Boy to people many times.

We spent $2839.34 for 2 Tripoli 2 Motor Massage Heat (power reclining) chairs on 7/16/17. They were not delivered until almost a month later on 8/12/17. The first problem we had with one of the chairs was the massaging function went all wonky in less than 6 months. While their parts have a lifetime warranty and there is 3 years warranty on labor we were still required to pay $80 plus tax for them to come out to the house to assess the issue with one of the chairs. The technician confirmed that there was a mechanical issue with the chair and said he would order the part. He said it would take about 3 weeks, maybe less, to get the part and then we would have to pay them another $80 fee to come back out and install it.
When 3 weeks passed I called Customer Service, Valerie, leaving a message for an update since we had heard nothing. Lo and behold, the next day the other chair massager started doing the same thing. So I called Customer Service and left a 2nd message about it. When I received a return call from Customer Service, Valerie only referenced my first message stating the part was not in yet and that she is unable to tell me when we can expect it. She just has to wait until it comes in, period. Then I asked her about my other message. "Oh yeah, that. Well, when the technician comes out to install the order replacement part for the first chair he can check the other chair."
I asked her why she could not just go ahead and order a duplicate part. I even offered to send her a video as proof we are having the same issue with the 2nd chair. Nope, can’t do that. I then explained to her that we were returning customers to La-Z-Boy and are highly disappointed in these chairs and that the massaging function seems to last barely 6 months before needing replacement. So we will have to spend a lot more money every year just to keep them functioning. Not happy. I then asked if they could just come pick the chairs up and return our money. Nope, not happening. "Is there someone higher up I can speak to regarding this issue." Nope, she is it.
I then called the store in Frisco, TX where we purchased them to talk to the salesman that sold us the chairs. Alas, he no longer works there. While the lady that answered the phone was sympathetic to our issue she said there was nothing they could do to help me as all they handle are sales. She referred me to Customer Service. Yes, you guessed it, Valerie. I explained to her that I had already talked to Valerie to no avail. "Is there a general manager/owner for the store to whom I can speak." Nope. So, we are stuck with these chairs that we will have fixed but then we will forever be afraid to use the massage function which is the main reason we purchased them in the first place. We will never, ever buy anything from La-Z-Boy again due to this experience.
Updated on 03/19/2018: So I submitted a review for which there was no resolution but it just shows company disputed? Seriously? No one has contacted me regarding this review outside of this website to seek resolution. Fool me once, shame on you! Fool me twice, shame on me! That will not happen as I will never buy from La-Z-Boy again due to this experience.

An emergency came to us and I had to get new furniture right away for my wife who has an amputated leg. I just bought some couches and other things from La-Z-Boy. This is my first experience in buying from them and and I liked it. They were nice and good. The sales representatives helped me in getting around the store so I could look at all the things that were available. Then I came back and made my decision to pick the furniture that I wanted. They scheduled the delivery of the furniture that I had purchased for me and I agreed to the date. The delivery guys were good and efficient, and I was surprised at how fast they could do the delivery. The quality of the furniture that I got is good. If it wasn't good, I would've brought it back. Also, the price was reasonable and good.

We bought 2 La-Z-Boy recliners some 25 years ago; they finally wore. We bought new recliners that should have been like the old ones, but the workmanship and durability of the new ones are nowhere near the quality of the old recliners.

The sectional we bought from La-Z-Boy is nice. The only thing we don’t like is the odor. We got the waterproofing on it and we're not sure whether it was the sofa or the treatment, but something is outgassing. I have severe breathing problems and it was causing me some issues. But it seems to be getting better and other than that, we like our furniture.

My wife and I decided to purchase a new furniture as it was time to refurnish our home. I already got some La-Z-Boy furniture downstairs, where the first purchase we made was 15 years ago. Then, we decided to do the living room and dining room. The sales rep we dealt with was great. We were looking at furniture, taking turns and said, “Well, can we get one of this interior design?” So, Erica, the interior decorator, came over and measured the rooms, and we talked about stuff, and she gave us a good plan. When we went in, she got the 3D pictures that she put together and we really liked it. So, we decided to go with it. She did a great job. They are delivering the recent purchase this Thursday. Everything is working out really good. We had a great experience, and they got a lot of good options.

This is a very stylish high leg recliner. The chair looks beautiful but is so uncomfortable. The recliner part is horrible. It is nearly impossible for me to open it since there is no lever; need to push on the arms. Being older, I do not have the strength to open it; so do not use it. The seat part is so deep, I have to use a blanket to raise up my butt. This was very expensive; complete waste of money!

The La-Z-Boy recliner was comfortable but fabric began wearing thin within a year, a spring inside broke and the reclining arm difficult to move. Paid a lot of money and was very disappointed.

We have had our Powered recliner for less than 60 days when the recliner failed. We called to find out about getting it serviced. Two and a half weeks later the technician finally came out, and he says that he has to put in an order for a part, then they will call to schedule an appointment to come and install the defective part. Really regretting this purchase.

La-Z-Boy recliners use to be better built than they are now. Only had a few years and having problems with reclining makes a lot of noise like something is getting ready to break. Last one we had last over 29 years.

I have a new house and I recently purchased a La-Z-Boy recliner and sofa. I got the 30 percent off sale they had. I also purchased from them before and have had La-Z-Boy furniture for the past 15 years. I've always been a fan of the furniture. The sales representatives were very friendly and accommodating. I used the in-home designer but it didn't work out too much, so I ended up doing it myself and got my creative juices flowing. I was satisfied with my experience with them, overall. The delivery guys were great. The only issue that I had was I was at work and they called me two hours before and they were supposed to be there. But I made them wait. My La-Z-Boy furniture got good quality. However, I've always purchased leather furniture. And the cloth furniture that I received smells like plywood. My basement still smells like plywood. So, I'm waiting for the smell to dissipate.

After quite a few phone calls, we did manage to get on employee (Linda) to assist us in finding our sofas we had ordered and should have been here before end of Feb. Sofas are now in and we should receive delivery this Fri. 3/23. Although, it took almost 3 months, at least we are finally getting our merchandise. Hopefully, the sofas have been made well. So far, we are now satisfied the problem has been resolved.

It has now been 7 weeks since we ordered 2 love seat recliners. Beau was our salesperson, but it seems we can never get hold of him. We were told these items shipped 2 weeks ago, but no one can seem to find them. We have spoken to several people who say they will check into it, but then never call us back. We will give it one more week and if we do not receive our sofas, we will cancel our order and demand our deposit back. We are very very dissatisfied and will NEVER recommend this Lazy Boy store ever!!!

We have had our La-Z-Boy couch for a little over a year and unfortunately the couch looks like it's 10 years old! The cushions are pilling and thread from the seams are fraying. I was told by customer service pilling is not a manufacturer defect and nothing could be done! I would have never bought the couch knowing this was going to happen or spent the sum of money we did! We also have a La-Z-Boy leather recliner and we love it, no problems! Very disappointed in the quality of fabric and feel. This couch is not living up to the La-Z-Boy name.

We have been loyal La-Z-Boy customers since we purchased our first set of reclining rockers in 1990. However, we purchased our current and last chairs on 4/13/2017. These new recliners are not the same quality we were used to from La-Z-Boy. The cushions sag when sitting on them and they are very uncomfortable! The chairs were serviced on 12/12/2017, by replacing the cushions, however, it has only been 2 months and the chairs are no longer comfortable. My wife and I are not big people, so we don't understand why these chairs are not holding up. Perhaps there was a design change that has resulted in less support for the cushions. We are very dissatisfied with the La-Z-Boy product!

Our double reclining La-Z-Boy Sofa in our Cedar Creek 5th Wheel is less than 3 years old and is already cracking and peeling. We have been meticulous about keeping the sun off the piece and have followed care and cleaning instructions to the letter. We only use our 5th Wheel six months out of the year, so in reality, it's only had about 18 months of use. I won't be purchasing from La-Z-Boy when I replace it!

The sales rep was very, very helpful and she was quite courteous. She helped us decide our actions and looked at the different options. We love working with her. The person who came over to my house with the design was also quite helpful. It was just a wonderful experience. I bought two pieces from La-Z-Boy and I already received one item, but I am still waiting for the second one. The delivery was pretty good. They took care of the furniture and made sure they are not damaging anything that I already have and that everything was in the way it should be. They helped me put the new furniture in a place that I wanted it to be, and then they explained everything about the furniture to me. I really like the quality of the furniture at La-Z-Boy that I had, and the cost was pretty fair.

I love my La-Z-Boy! It was invaluable when my child was an infant. It is about 15 years old and still in use. Durable and held up well even with a kid and pets.

I purchased a renu leather sectional and the extended warranty in 2013 for $4341.36. It was delivered September 2013. We have already re-upholstered the headrest of one end of the sectional due to severe cracking and peeling. La-Z-Boy stated it was no longer under warranty and refused to fix but did put us in touch with their service department. We paid. We've had other issues too such as the parachute pull on one of the recliners splitting and coming off which was replaced but we had to pay for the service call. The metal on it is now unraveling again and it's now unusable as the metal stabs your hand when you try to pull and open the recliner. Now, the sectional is cracking and peeling in several areas. This is not normal and must be defective as I see other clients have this same complaint on this site. I've contacted La-Z-Boy corporate and they denied my claim stating it was not within the warranty period.
I contacted La-Z-Boy through Facebook and received a denied claim again. I used twitter and was told that they would look into my problem only to find that they blocked me. I referred 3 families to La-Z-Boy resulting it over $15K of revenue and I've bought additional furniture from them. I can't believe that La-Z-Boy not only didn't even attempt to make amends but they didn't even offer a coupon or some compensation to get this sectional recovered. We paid over $4K for this sectional and it's garbage now. We can't even sell it. The only reason we have this sofa is because we wanted something bigger. Our previous leather sofa was from Macy's and that lasted over 10 years. I'm hopeful that La-Z-Boy can do something. Not sure where to go from here but I can't spend another $4k plus on a sectional and I will NEVER recommend La-Z-Boy again.

Buyers beware... La-Z-Boy is quite happy to take your money and have poor quality of service after you purchased. I purchased 3 recliners Nov 12, 2017. Custom with leather. They said it would take 8-10 weeks for delivery. Paid for half of the order. The order total was just under $10,000. Jan 4, 2018 I got an email that my chairs had arrived and that I needed to call to book an appointment and pay the remainder of the balance on the account before delivery which I did the same day and scheduled to deliver Jan 9, 2018. Yay my chairs are almost home... Jan 9 rolls around and I get a call in the morning that the delivery truck broke down, ok it happens, they rescheduled for Jan 11. Between 12 pm and 2 pm. 4:30 pm rolls around and still no chairs... So I called, the delivery company, La-Z-Boy, left messages, no answer.
Sent an email to my sales rep and called him, no answer. 5:30 pm still no news, called and left messages again. Jan 12 rolls around. It's 9:30 am still no news, called the delivery department at La-Z-Boy and told them what happened, they wrote down my case and said they would escalate to management and get back to me. They also rescheduled for delivery Jan 18. Still no news as to what happened, I lost faith at this point... The same day Jan 12 late in the day, I got a call from the manager of my sales rep apologizing, saying the items had been shipped back to the warehouse and reconfirmed the delivery for Jan 18. A few hours later the delivery guys call to confirm the delivery on Jan 16... Wait. What? It's supposed to be Jan 18. They magically sort it out.
Jan 18 rolls around, hey there are chairs and they show up, wait the last chair has a rip in it, what? Am I supposed to accept that, no, they take it back. I talk to someone at La-Z-Boy again, sent pictures and they confirmed that a "new" chair our be made and delivered in 4-5 weeks time. Not impressed. Feb 12 I get an email from my sales rep that my chair has arrived. I called and next delivery is today Feb 22. The delivery guys arrive... Guess what... The chair is ripped, the same rip as the "old" chair... La-Z-Boy you suck. I will be seeing lawyers, you have my money and I still don't have all my products.

I have no questions and as you can see I don't want to hear from you. Your employees were good. Your automated survey taker is garbage. It doesn't give a good impression when it doesn't work. If someone doesn't respond, there is a very high probability they didn't want to respond and repeating over and over and over and over. If someone actually does respond, it would help if the machine picked up on that and registered it, instead of repeating the initial question over and over etc. If you actually care about what I think, don't have a machine that doesn't work make the calls when there is no one on duty to let you know the machine doesn't work. In summation, you obvioustly don't care enough about my experience if it's outside of your normal business hours as you cannot be troubled enough to make sure it works.

We purchased a recliner from La-Z-Boy, and the cost was reasonable. The sales representative we worked with was very articulate and very helpful. They had the recliner checked at the warehouse and there was one available, and they delivered it to us in a day or two. The delivery guys were fine and very cooperative.

The La-Z-Boy recliner is about the few chairs that you can relax, sleep, eat, watch tv in the comfort of your living room. They also can be formatted to a person's handicap. They have La-Z-Boys to help people stand up from a sitting position so I would recommend La-Z-Boy for everyone's needs.

I just visited the local furniture store that carries La-Z-Boy furniture here in Great Falls MT. I was expecting to see the new and stylish furniture that La-Z-Boy promotes all of the time on TV. What did I see instead? Row after row of puffy, unattractive recliners like my grandmother would have. The salesperson said they could order more stylish recliners, but I'm simply not going to custom order a chair in hopes that it is comfortable. I'm extremely disappointed! Brooke Shields would cringe, to say the least.

A big SHOUT OUT to La-Z-Boy, Madison! We purchased matching recliners 10 years ago and, after 5 kids and 2 Golden Retrievers, the locking mechanism on both were shot. We called and a tech came out to see what needed to be repaired so he could order the correct parts, then came back and replaced the parts and everything works like new! Tech even insisted he replace the wooden platforms because, even though they worked fine, both had the ends chewed up (ie. 2 Golden Retrievers, not the kids - lol). ALL of this for a $115 service fee. 2 round trips - all moving parts replaced, new bases - they are like new. We had them custom covered when we purchased them and the material still looks like new too. We can't thank La-Z-Boy enough for their fine work!!

Upon retiring and furnishing a new home, we choose La-Z-Boy since we thought their products would last a long time and not need replacing. The costs were higher than bargain stores but quality matters. However, after only 18 months the product is falling apart (and not due to any hard use - no teenagers, etc). One of the arms was almost totally off and upon examination, the design/engineering looked substandard.
Only 3 staples held on the arm - no bracing on any kind. The other arm was out of alignment and didn't appear to have been put together correctly from the beginning. One of the bottom struts never had a support screw attached (as was done on the other side). The wood is under a lifetime warranty but it costs to have anything repaired after one year and visits to your home also are charged. So in short, it seems like La-Z-Boy is on a par with other cut-rate furniture companies except for their pricing. SKU OS998836274 L043941747. Dealer 50859692.

We have 2 that were purchased many (1985) yrs ago --- picked material & they are still in use. Have been passed on to daughter & grand-daughter. The only problem as of today is the footrest mechanism doesn't work but material still holding up.

I've owned this chair for the past 20+ years and it's still comfortable. As a matter of fact, most nights I sleep in the chair. I find it at least as comfortable as my bed.

The following is the communication through the BBB from me to La-Z-Boy. On Sept 2, 2017 my wife and I purchased a Powered Recliner and a Sofa Recliner for a total of $3031.58 from La-Z-Boy at the Mall of Georgia.The fabric was special order so they were not delivered to our home until Oct 14. Because there was no physical damage to them my wife accepted delivery of them. When I got home from work she had been looking them over more closely and noticed that under one arm of the chair the fabric was wrinkled instead of having a normal tight smooth seam as the other arm did. She also noticed that the sofa cushions were not lined up with each other but the center and left cushions looked to be shifted or not made with square corners. These cushions are not removable so this is not something we could fix. The right cushion was correctly made.
We called up the store we purchased them from and they gave us the number for their local customer service center in Buford who we called. We spoke to Chris said he would send a technician out to check the furniture. A few days later a technician came out and took pictures of what my wife said were the issues and he left without any comments about what would be done or if he agreed with what we saw as an issue. About a week after that we received a voice message on our home phone that they had determined by the photos that the sofa and chair were within La-Z-Boy's specifications so there was nothing they could do for us. He said that we would need to call the corporate office if we wanted to go further with having something done about our complaint.
Between Oct 31, 2017 and Dec 1, 2017 we made 4 calls to the La-Z-Boy corporate customer service center and spoke with a different service rep each time. The first rep, a nice person named Scout, took all the information and said she would look into it and get back to us in a day or two. After not receiving any call back we called back on Nov 7. This time we spoke to a miserable person named Trisha who condescendingly said that if the local technician said it was in spec then corporate would not do anything. But at the end of the call she said she would have Scout contact us. After still not receiving any call back we called them on Nov 15. We spoke to a nice person named Salina. She gave us our case# and told us that Scout was still working on it by trying to get the Buford service center to do something for us. I gave Salina my email and she said Scout would email me back by the 22nd with an update.
After not receiving an email or phone call we called them on Dec 1. We spoke to a nice person named Summer would told us that Scout was not in the office and most likely on vacation. Summer asked me to email her photos of the sofa and chair so that they could be put in my file for review by corporate. I emailed the sofa photos on Dec 1 and then the chair photos on Dec 3 since I forgot include them with the sofa photos. On Dec 5, I got an email from Summer thanking me for the photos but now she needed the product information for the sofa and chair because for some reason they did not have it in with the case# info. I sent that information along even though I was told by Scout that they had all the info when this all started. After not receiving an email or phone call, I emailed Summer on Dec 18 and asked for an update. (None came).
On Dec 21 we received a voice message from Chris at the local customer service center that he was contacted by his corporate office about a chair we were having an issue with. No mention of the sofa was in the message. I called back 30 minutes later and had to leave a message to call me back because he was not there. He did not call back so I called on Dec 22 at 1:50pm and the person who answered the phone said that Chris was likely in the warehouse and he would go get him and have him call me back. Chris called back on Dec 23 at 1:30pm. He asked when I would like to set up a time for a tech to come out and take photos. I told him that we had started all this 2 months ago with him and he said yes that he did see the ticket from before. I asked what if anything different would be done and he said he couldn't do anything because La-Z-Boy said it is within specs.
So after being given a basic run around by La-Z-Boy corporate we were back where we started and being told that La-Z-Boy corporate was at fault. I called the corporate office one last time on Jan 2, 2018 and spoke to Shahara, who was very understanding but said that because the stores in Georgia are "independently owned" that La-Z-Boy corporate can't do any more than to ask the local store to look into it as they already had done. I thanked her for her time and let her know that my next steps would be to contact the BBB, department of business regulation, and a local reporter and she had no response for that. For the past 23 years my wife and I have purchased only La-Z-Boy sofas and recliners and were very satisfied. Based on the reduction in quality of our 2 latest purchases we will not be buying from them in the future.

I am interested in buying a sofa. They feature their iClean fabrics. I asked customer service for information on the chemicals used to produce the iClean fabrics. La-Z-Boy is unwilling to share this information with consumers. Therefore there is no way to verify the chemicals adhere to legal or safe standards. It is disappointing that they are not transparent about their products. My advice to others is stay away from iClean - EWG.org has researched these chemicals. Some are much less hazardous than others. Unfortunately, La-Z-Boy will not let us know what chemicals they chose to use.

We bought a couch and a recliner of BONDED LEATHER from a local La-Z-Boy store. And are very DISAPPOINTED in the La-Z-Boy furniture, we spent nearly $2000. About 3 years with 2 adults using they are peeling/flaking. The store personnel informed us the material warranty does not cover for anything more than 1 year, the company does not stand behind their products. We wish that we would have never bought them. They are an eyesore in our home and we will need to replace them soon and we will not buy from La-Z-Boy again. Room to Go might get our business next time. They are still selling these products in the store...they will need to stop selling them all together.

When I first moved out of my mom's house, I bought a La-Z-Boy recliner and had that for 20 years. We've had other sofas in the family room and in living rooms, and they looked like 10 years old in two years, so La-Z-Boy is way better. The ones we still have are getting close to 15 years old and although they are still holding up, it sounded like a good Christmas present to get new ones, so we purchased a sectional sofa, some tables, pillows and accessories from La-Z-Boy. Their sales reps were the best in the Lansing area where I live in. Nobody is stalking you around every corner. They stop, introduce themselves, and say, "If you need me, I will be around and happy to help. Go about the store and take a look. If you have any questions, here I am." There's no high pressure.
We selected a custom fabric so all we were able to do was see about 6 x 6 swathe of it. We've seen the sofa that we were buying, but it was covered in different upholstery and it was hard to visualize. But, Kat, the design consultant, got us through that. Like our experience in the showroom, the delivery was also seamless. They gave us a three-hour window. They were coming up from Chicago which was about at least a four-hour drive. It was also probably one of the worst weathers I've seen anybody driving, but their guys arrived on the early end of the time frame. Then two guys unloaded the furniture in a short period of time and they were just spot on. The new furniture totally made our house look new again and we love them.

We purchased La-Z-Boy for our first home and it’s been over 17 years since buying our second, and we bought more while we’ve been in this home. We had an old furniture set that was not La-Z-Boy, and we purchased it at a time when we were trying to save some money. We weren’t happy with it, and years later it was worn out and we were not pleased with the comfort of it anymore. We bought some La-Z-Boy pieces for other rooms in our home, and we finally decided that we were going to go back to getting them for the living room because we'd had success with them.
Everyone that I worked with was fantastic from beginning to end. The salesman asked us questions about what we were looking for and what we wanted to accomplish about the room that we were using them in, and he was very thorough. When we told him that we weren’t set on a specific design or not 100% certain on all the pieces that we wanted to purchase, he recommended that we work with an interior decorator. We then worked with the decorator and another associate of hers. They came out to our home, took all measurements and gave us some ideas and thoughts based on what our ideas and thoughts were. They were also extremely thorough in giving us ideas for fabric choices. We have a dog, so we talked about protecting our furniture because of our dog which was also important to us.
We have not had delivery yet, but we should be receiving a notification any day because we were told that the products were supposed to be at their store right around this weekend or early this week. The only thing they told us was that they did not expect one rug to be in their possession until the end of March, which was quite a surprise to us. But we like the piece and I don’t want to change it, so I’m just going to have to wait. Overall I am disappointed when we purchased our living room set previously that was not La-Z-Boy. It was not worth it in the end at all. Knowing all the other La-Z-Boy pieces that we have in our home that have been fabulous, I don’t know why we didn’t do it. I would highly recommend them. In fact, my brother-in-law and sister-in-law were just at the same store this past weekend looking at some things ‘cause they are also looking to make some purchases and adding more to their home.

Purchased an Easton power couch and loveseat on 1/6/18. Was told by Amy ** at the Sawgrass La-Z-Boy in Sunrise, FL that it would be an estimated 3-4 weeks for delivery. Paperwork does say 4-6 weeks. It is at the 6 week mark now, and I am told that the furniture will not be sent from warehouse until an estimated date of March 5th. When I called the first time (2/2/18), no manager available in store and they would call me back by the next day. I did not receive a call. I called again on the 9th. Same thing; no manager and I would get a call back. This time I made it clear that this was a second attempt and was unhappy for non-communication. Again, no response. I then took a half day off work on Monday the 12th and went into the store to speak to a manager.
I spoke with Amy again, who is the assistant manager. She was rude, told me she never said 3-4 weeks, and then told me delivery would be on the 5th. She corrected the statement to leaving warehouse on the 5th, with estimated delivery up to two weeks after. I asked for a refund, as I needed the couches sooner, which is what I had been led to believe upon purchase. She told me there is nothing she can do, and they are not willing to do anything at that point (including contacting warehouse for rush delivery or discount for my troubles) and the manager would be contacting me directly. It is the 18th today. The 6 week maximum delivery time frame has passed. I still have yet to receive a phone call from any point of contact I have initiated, nor from any staff person. I am going into the store again today, but I have no hope for resolution. This is unacceptable customer service and an unacceptable expenditure of my time for non-resolution.

We were told that delivery drivers would take out 1 piece of furniture, for every one they delivered. Delivery crew arrived. Informed us that we had to clear the area for the new furniture. And that it would be to difficult to remove the old stuff. Driver show where it instructed them not to take old stuff. So much for customer service.

I ordered furniture (dining set & chair & rug) in May 2017 from the lazy boy store in Wilmington, NC. Was told the table would take about 8 weeks to arrive. Patiently waited 12 weeks before my 1st call and was told that it may take another couple of weeks. Finally in Late August furniture arrived. Chair was great, rug was great, but dining chairs were scratched and dented. Dining Table arrived with huge crack. Delivery personnel made note of the issues and told us that we would be contacted to replace these items. After about 4 weeks we called the store and they told us we now had to contact comfort care.
Since September 2017 we have been trying to resolve this issue. Twice we have had a service rep come out to our home make notes that these need to be repaired/replaced and we are still waiting to have this issue resolved. Comfort care continually tells us they will keep us updated and call us back. Last contact was early January. They told us that they would have a repair rep come to our home today (2/16/2018) to work on the issue with the chairs and because of the continued issues offered us a rebate. Well today nobody showed up, nor did I get a call. I would like someone in management to contact me directly. I believed waiting 9 months since I ordered my furniture is more than enough time.

My recliner didn't last 1 year and cost $600+-. I was given a credit but the store I got it from didn't have another one like it so I ended up with a smaller chair and having to pay more. It didn't last 2 weeks. I thought La-Z-Boy was a quality product but boy was I wrong. I will NEVER buy another recliner from La-Z-Boy!!! Maybe the bigger cities get the better quality furniture or maybe you just don't make a quality product anymore. Maybe you should check with your quality control and tell them they need to do a better job.

All I can say about this place is DON'T GO THERE BECAUSE IF YOU HAVE A DEFECT ON DAY ONE THEY WILL GIVE YOU NOTHING BUT THE RUNAROUND. Now I have to get a lawyer to get what I am paying an arm and a leg for!!! The owner is totally dishonest!!

Well, I wrote a review a few weeks ago about my experience with defects to a sofa I purchased at Lazboy this past October and they came back on here and stated they would be more than happy to help me with those issues. To this minute I have not had any success with them fixing or repairing my sofa, just alot of talk. That is how they operate. If you buy any furniture here and there is a problem they will lie all the way to the bank and you will NEVER get results, just alot of lies. Feel bad for the employees who work there that have to constantly cover for this woman!! Don't purchase a warranty because it is as good as a piece of gum

I had had my previous couch for a really long time, and it was there in the family room at the house that it got the most wear and tear. We did a little research to see where we could get our couch. We found it at La-Z-Boy and we got lucky that there was a huge sale that day. We went in and it was a really easy purchase. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. When we made a mistake, they fixed it for us so that we had the right pieces and we knew it was going to be a perfect fit. The delivery team was awesome. There was snow and I have a very long driveway, and they went out and shoveled as much as they could. And they got in here and made no mess. They padded everything, got everything in, unpacked it, hooked it up and showed me how to disconnect the sectional units. They were very nice and efficient.
The quality of the furniture is wonderful, though they are scheduled to come back tomorrow because there's like a little fabric flaw. It's a bump in one section and I'm worried because we keep our couches for a long time and over time, this one's butt might not wear right. But we love it, it's extremely comfortable and we're very pleased. I'd highly recommend it. Even the one that we had all those years, we didn't get rid of it. It went to my daughter's house. La-Z-Boy is who I will be dealing with when it comes to purchases of sofas and chairs. The quality is good, the service is wonderful and I know the furniture lasts.

If there was a O to give this company, I certainly would. The chair I purchased is padding over sticks. If you poke the side or back, it's completely empty. There is no there. This cost a lot but although I've had it only a few months, the fabric is already looking worn/faded into the shape of my body. Also, no, they don't service or repair the whole country. From where I live, you have to take it back to them in another city, just as I had to pick it up in their nearest serviced city.

We are very disappointed in the La-Z-Boy furniture we bought. Our recliner, couch and loveseat are all peeling. We spent $2200 and wish we'd never bought it. It didn't even last 5 years and there are just 2 adults using it! I don't think we'll be purchasing anymore La-Z-Boy furniture.

Our old sofa was worn out and we made a lot of order a couple of weeks ago from La-Z-Boy. We knew of them based on reputation from friends. We dealt with the sales guy Zac in the Whitehall store and he was very helpful. We got chairs, pillows, a table and a reclining sofa and they said we'd probably receive the order some time in April but they'd give us a call if the products come in sooner. We were happy with our experience in the store and I would recommend La-Z-Boy to friends.

I just bought a condo in Illinois and I decided to purchase new furniture. The La-Z-Boy reps were professional and courteous. They came to our house and then took measurements, put it in the computer, showed us how it would look and did a really nice job with it. The delivery guys came in, put the furniture together and put them where I wanted them. They left my condo clean and it was nicely done.

I got a power recliner from La-Z-Boy. It's about my fifth chair from them. My husband has a recliner that's got the lifelong warranty on it. I like the chairs. They are built well and they don’t fall apart. The sales rep was friendly and wasn’t boring. The woman behind the desk was very helpful, too. The delivery was good. The rep showed me how the chair worked.
However, we’ve got to go back to the store because they were supposed to make it taller. But after I got the chair, I don’t need need it taller. The other thing I don't like about this power chair is if you add anything to it, there’s no warranty on it. It’s stupid to pay $2000 for a chair with no warranty. I wasn’t thinking when we signed the paper. I just love the chair and wanted it. So, I’m going to go back down there. I want the warranty put back on it.
It's a very good leather but the chair is a little expensive. And when you’re not using the remote for the chair, there’s nowhere to put it, except to stick it in the side of the chair or let it hang over the arm. It has got a light on it, but when the room is dark, that light is very light, and you can’t turn it on or off, or up or down. So, they need to work on fixing that remote and having a little pocket on the side of the chair to put it in.

Leather Reclining Sofa purchased 7/05/2012 - Disappointed. Leather was not solid but thinly covered cloth. Wore down to backing in large and small spots within four years. In 60 years of having furniture, we've never had to replace a "supposed quality" piece of furniture in such a short period of time.

I have a 25-year old La-Z-Boy chair, but this was my first time to directly purchase from them. The sales rep and the designer were both excellent. They worked with me on my needs and they backed backed off when I didn't want something. But they could do better with pricing. I wouldn't buy the recliner if it was not on sale. Other than that, everything went very well and I would definitely recommend La-Z-Boy.

We had ordered a loveseat from a different furniture company and we wanted to have something new to go along with it, and we decided to try La-Z-Boy. I thought they mostly had recliners but I was surprised to find out that they had more than just that. The sales rep Carol was very good. She knew her stuff and suggested that we get a sample of the color that we had on order from the other place which was right close by, and so we did. We went and got it and then came back to the La-Z-Boy store and used it for matching the sofa that we ordered.

We are always greeted when we came into the door of La-Z-Boy. Their staff were pleasant and friendly and asked what we were looking for. We weren't sure what we were looking for when we first came in. We were just browsing and everyone was a pleasant to deal with so we did end up purchasing a few things. The delivery team were in and out quickly. They were nice and they were efficient.
I like the new look of the room because of the furniture. Amy, the designer we worked with, was really great. Dealing with La-Z-Boy was an easy process and we had no difficulties. But if I had one thing to say that I was a little disappointed in is the recliners are not comfortable. I thought they were going to recline more and they're just a little stiff and they just don't recline as much as I thought they were going to do. But I'm going to give it another week or two to see if they loosen up a little bit and if we get used to it.

Purchased sofa in May 2017 and it looks like I have 10 children and sofa is ready for the curb. Wrote letter to headquarters but got nowhere, wanted me to pay $300 more to fix cushions. Filed complaint with BBB and channel 3000 call for action in Madison and both of these places could not get anywhere with the company. Worst possible customer service anywhere in the world. Always have to initiate contact, not getting back to me in a reasonable amount of time and have every excuse for not getting a refund.
La-Z-Boy quality is not like it used to be. The Madison WI store has been revoked from BBB due to very poor customer service and this is bad and they don't care. A lot of negative reviews both on BBB and on this website. You would think the company would be concerned and change their attitude! Still trying to work with them after 5 months. Please note that most of the complaints are from females! Way to complicated to go into detail with regard of my complaint. It will soon appear on the BBB website for further information. Just can't believe the run around you get from them every time. Don't ever purchase from them, you think it is a good product, but just wait until you need customer service due to a problem with your furniture.

I had gotten lots of stuff from La-Z-Boy including several recliners, and I had been satisfied with the quality and everything. Most recently, I purchased reclining sofas and a table from them. We had purchased a new house and the existing furniture I had for one room wasn’t as aesthetically appealing in that room as it was in the previous house. So, I decided to change out the furniture. La-Z-Boy had a factory representative in the store for some liquidation events. There was quite a bit of knowledge about options, colors, features, construction, and how it compares to other products they had in the store. They walked me over to its kind of closest cousin, and I could feel the difference on the different sides of the spectrum. It helped me quickly make a decision and feel confident that I’ve done enough due diligence to make the purchase.
The delivery process was good. They called beforehand and said when they would be here, and they were here at that time. They put down protection mats and carried the stuff in. They took all the plastic and everything away. They cleaned up after themselves, and then asked where I wanted it positioned in the room. The quality is very good. It's what I expect. I buy most things with an expectation of paying a little more to make sure that I'm getting a quality product. La-Z-Boy is not the cheapest brand but I’m always pleased with the quality. I believe about the brand which is why I buy from them repeatedly. It was a great shopping as well as delivery experience. There are a lot of options, and if one is looking to customized colors, fabrics, configurations, La-Z-Boy is the place I would recommend the most.

The furniture I had needed to be replaced. I tried several places but I'm familiar with La-Z Boy's quality and when I tested it, it felt good so I bough it. I like sitting in it. We had gone in to test almost a month and a half before we bought it. We wanted to wait until the end of the holidays because we're going to have a lot of people and I didn't want them on my new stuff. And so we bought it after the holidays and we bought it with the same salesperson because he was very helpful.
They professionally treated me. Nobody was shadowing me and making me feel that I have to go ahead and make a decision. I kind of liked that. They delivered it when they were supposed to deliver it and didn't scar the wall or anything in that nature and they placed it where I wanted it put. La-Z Boy does a great deal and is a quality purchase being why you buy from them. I suggest they throw a few more sales on it every now and then.

I've had a La-Z-Boy for 10 years, and I recently bought 2 recliners from them at their Monmouth Junction, New Jersey store. They were really excellent in every respect. The sales rep, Mark, was very good.

I purchased a La-Z-Boy Top grain rocker/recliner with a service protection plan that supposedly covers the chair for up to 5 years. Two years into using the chair, the leather has started to disintegrate and peel away. The printed contract clearly states the plan covers top grain leather peeling or cracking during the contract period. The third party protection plan denies the claim to repair it and the La-Z-Boy store is not willing to help get the chair fixed. I paid my $$ to La-Z-Boy and expect a better product, customer service, and standing behind the products they sell including the 3rd party protection plan. The manager at the store cannot understand why my claim was denied! Buy at your own risk and hope you do not have any problems as they will not be there to help!
I was provided with the email for VP of operations for West Coast of Florida for La-Z-Boy. I wrote to him asking to speak with him regarding concerns I am having with my chair and that the store manager was unable to assist me. Without discussing any aspect of my case/concerns, he emailed me, “I am a busy man and I would not be able to help you in any way so therefore service is best." Does he think I would have wasted my time contacting him if “service” was able to help me? How is that for great customer service! Buyer beware of the product quality you are getting and beware of their furniture protection plans with La-Z-Boy.

Very upset that the very expensive leather chair we purchased August 2015 has deteriorated so rapidly. We are not harsh people. We keep our furniture clean. This chair has leather peeling like sunburned skin. Since we did not purchase a warranty we have been told we're out of luck. This is appalling in my opinion. Chairs are not disposable items. This should last us 10 years minimum. I am attaching photos of the condition of this chair. We purchased this chair at the La-Z-Boy store in Champaign, IL.

A little over two years ago, we purchased from La-Z-Boy in Henderson, NV a Dexter sofa & chair from a young man. I sat on the sofa and it seemed very comfortable. I decided to purchase the sofa & chair. It was around $3,500, plus delivery. They delivered it and it looked like a huge marshmallow. I also purchased the extra protection package.
Approx. 4-5 months later the arm started to turn black, I cleaned it with the cleaner in the kit but it didn't help. I then called the company and they wouldn't do anything about it.The sofa never sat right, the seat cushion was very uncomfortable, it had a slant to it and you literally slid off. I called and they sent out a representative to look at it. They again wouldn't cover it. I paid about $249.00 for the protection policy. I was beside myself with this store so I called La-Z-Boy in Michigan. They were no help at all. I ended up calling Salvation Army just to get rid of it. I was so embarrassed when we had guests come over, I apologized to them for having to sit on it. I will never ever again buy any furniture with the name La-Z-Boy on it. Their furniture was high quality in the past, now it's junk!
