    On Thursday 4/09/15, the recline foot rest mechanism broke on my recliner. I called the repair number and left a message as instructed. It has been two days with no call back. To me, this is unacceptable and unprofessional for such a notable company. I also called the main number for the company, talked to a person after a 24 wait, still no response. I will continue to wait as I have no other options for the repair.

    I ordered a leather recliner and upon delivery, realized it had problems. It made a lot of noise when rocking. I called to have it repaired and upon pick up, the delivery service La-Z-Boy uses, put several 5-7 inch scratches onto my wood floor. When I called to complain, I was given the run around and told I would be called back. This never happened.

    Today, when the chair was to be returned, the same delivery service brought it back and carelessly had it shoved up against the back of their truck, on its side. They proceeded to roll it around, scratching up the swivel base even more than it already was from their handling. This is a leather chair I paid a lot of money for and it was being treated like a kickball. There was also a young boy with the drivers who was trying to act like he was a worker. Totally inappropriate. I recommend picking up any furniture you can rather than using their delivery service. When contacted, they once again said they'd call me back and never did. So while the actual La-Z-Boy company is willing to replace my chair, I'm left with a scratched floor from their horrible delivery service.

    I ordered my furniture on January 11th with an already extraordinarily long delivery estimate of "on or before March 26th." That date came and went with no communication from the vendor, at all. I called today and was told that "MAYBE" my furniture will be delivered "on or about the second week of April." Just moving into a new house, I've bought a house full of furniture from several different vendors. La-Z-Boy is the only one that hasn't delivered, both literally and figuratively.

    Ordered new Sofa, Loveseat, Coffee table and end tables at a cost on sale of over 4000.00. Waited 8 weeks for delivery. Delivered furniture on April 4, 2015 at around 11:30 am, by 2:30 center seat on couch was broken. Wood frame came apart and center seat cushion fell down. I called our local store about the problem and they had La-Z-Boy customer care contact us within a couple of hours. We were told that the warranty contractor would contact us on 4-6-15.

    We did not receive a call as promised. We decided we would give them until the next day to contact us for warranty repairs. After several more calls to our local store, we were finally contacted by Advantage Furniture Repair on 4-8-15 and were told that their first available date to even come look at the furniture was May 8th. That is 5 weeks after delivery just to look at it. After telling them that this would not be acceptable, they said they could bump us up to April 24-or 25 to inspect damages.

    What they did not tell me and we found out later that if it requires parts that would require additional time to order (3-8 weeks) and then once we received the replacement part we could call back and schedule for installation (possibly another 4 weeks). For those of you keeping track this could take as many as 13 weeks for this to be resolved. As with many complaints that I am reading on La-Z-Boy, I am not the only one with these issues and this is just exceptionally poor customer service. As of this writing we still have not had a definite answer as to when we will be getting this resolved, but I do know that I have a brand new couch that is broken and not useable that I am storing for La-Z-Boy. This is JUNK furniture!!! DO NOT BUY FROM LA-Z-BOY!!!!

    I'm an 81 year-old lady who on Feb. 8, 2015 purchased a custom-order chaise from the Hilliard, OH store. I was told delivery would be 6 to 8 weeks. After 6 weeks I called and was told it would be in the following week and delivered the next week. It did not happen. On April 2 I again called and was told it would be in later in the month. On Good Friday as my guests arrived for the Easter holiday, I received a call that it was now in the warehouse. I needed the additional seating for my company. I contacted the store manager and was told the earliest delivery I could get was April 7 (which was past 8 weeks). I explained that to him with no satisfactory response. Being upset, I said "good bye" and hung up. The manager called me back and we scheduled delivery for April 9.

    On April 7 I again called the manager and apologized for my previous attitude and asked for a refund of the delivery charge of $79.99 since the company didn't meet the 6 - 8 week period. I was refused because it's a third person delivery. Today, April 9, the chaise was delivered. On the paper I was asked to sign was a comment from the manager that I said “I'd not purchase anything from La-z-Boy again” (which I said). Also was a comment from him that I hung up on him. When we were through with that conversation, I said "good bye" and did hang up. I thought that was the correct procedure to end a call. He also mentioned that it did get in on time--in the warehouse yes; my house no. I would like someone from corporate to contact me.

    We purchased a 3-piece leather furniture set from La-Z-Boy in late 2011. The set included a sofa, a love seat, and a rocker-recliner. We had looked for a long time for just the right living room furniture and were very pleased when we found the set at La-Z-Boy. Because it was leather, its price was a little more than we wanted to spend, but with the salesman's assurance that the leather furniture would last forever we decided it would be a good investment. To make sure that we were totally covered, we even purchased the extended warranty. At that point, we were completely confident with our purchase. Our salesman even told us that we'd never have to buy living room furniture again. Having been long-time La-Z-Boy customers we had already gone through two fabric-covered rocker-recliners - we felt that we had made a good purchase.

    We were completely pleased with our purchase until small pieces of leather began flaking off the rocker-recliner in early 2014. My wife called La-Z-Boy and was told that the manufacturer's 1-year warranty had expired and that the extended warranty did not cover the issue we were experiencing. It seems that if we had accidentally stained the leather, or cut/tore the leather through our own negligence, we would've been covered by the extended warranty, but a manufacturer's defect completely beyond our control simply was not covered. This just sounds totally backwards to me.

    A few months later, and as more and more leather flaked off, I became completely dissatisfied with the rocker-recliner. I did a quick Internet search and found on the Consumer Affairs website several similar customer complaints regarding La-Z-Boy leather rocker-recliners. It seemed that they all involved the exact same style rocker-recliner that we had purchased, and they were all apparently purchased around the same time. I looked at the photos submitted by those customers and the damage to their chairs looked exactly like mine. I then knew that the problem with my chair was not an isolated incident.

    I decided to contact La-Z-Boy again, even though they had already told us that there was nothing they could do to help us. We spoke with the store manager where we bought our furniture and he gave us a different customer service number to call. He also told us that we had purchased a bonded leather furniture set. This was news to us, as we were not told the material was bonded leather when we made the purchase. The manager had to explain to us exactly what bonded leather is. We thought we had purchased 100% real leather furniture. (Note: Our salesman told us that the seat and arm rest areas were leather, but that the remainder of the chair was imitation leather.)

    I later called the customer service number provided by the store manager and was again told that there was nothing they could do to help us. It was suggested that if we had called earlier, it might have made a difference. Well, we contacted La-Z-Boy as soon as the problem became apparent and was denied any help. Since the leather is flaking off in several places, either the entire damaged panel would have to be replaced, or the entire chair would have to be replaced. I can't see how a day, or a week, or 3 or 4 months would make any difference. The resolution to the problem would still be the exact same.

    Based on La-Z-Boy's response to my issue, I would definitely NOT recommend the purchase of any of their furniture that includes bonded leather, because they do not stand behind it. I feel that I purchased an expensive leather rocker-recliner ($800+) that has aged prematurely and become an eyesore due to a manufacturer's defect that La-Z-Boy won't acknowledge. It should also be noted that our sofa and love seat look practically brand new today, while the rocker-recliner looks like it should be trashed. I believe that a bad batch of bonded leather material is to blame. Oddly enough, the fabric-covered rocker-recliners we purchased in the past FAR outlasted the leather one which we were told would last forever.

    I have La-Z-Boy products when I was in Oklahoma through Mathis Brothers and I was real happy with those that's why I didn't hesitate buying directly from La-Z-Boy this time. I had been looking for something for a particular space in the living room and their salesperson was very good and complete in showing us our options. He showed us several different models and we ended up with the loveseat. The delivery went real smooth. Two fellows showed up on time and were quick and efficient. They were in and out in no time at all. I've only had the loveseat for a short time now but I'm really pleased with it. The quality seems good.

    I purchased a La-Z-Boy reclining sofa and love seat from a local retailer in November 2014 and the furniture was delivered on Dec. 18th. I started having issues with one of the recliners within the first few days. The first service call was Jan. 9th, at that time adjustments were made to the recliner. The recliner continues to be noisy and rickety. In addition to the recliner issues, the cushions are breaking down and the fabric is bunching up and loose on both the sofa and love seat. The back part of the cushion (headrest) is also breaking down. A second service call was made on March 21st. The service tech took pictures, flipped over the couch and looked at at the underside.

    The information was sent to La-Z-Boy and the response I received was that the cord for the cushions had broken down and they would be ordering the parts and replacing the cord. I am being told the fabric bunching and being loose is considered comfort creasing and this is normal wear after 2 to 3 months. I am extremely unhappy with my purchase and expected my furniture to hold up and look new for much longer than the 2 to 3 months I have owned it. I find the response from the retailer and La-Z-Boy to be unacceptable. The furniture should be replaced, instead of repaired.

    DO NOT waste your money on a La-Z-Boy product. We purchased a new home Sept of 14 and decided it was time to replace our aging couch. We shopped at all the standard places, but decided we wanted something that would last and that we would pay extra for quality. La-Z-Boy talks about how they are on the "high end" spectrum of furniture, their products are American made blah blah blah. 6 months after getting our couch, 6 out of the 7 pieces are ripping at the seams, NONE of the seams on the back portion line up from piece to piece. I realize it's a sectional, but still, it's a 5 thousand dollar sectional. Walk out of the LB store and go to Diamond furniture or Big Lots, you will get the same quality for thousands less. La-Z-Boy should be ashamed at selling such a low quality product at top dollar.

    After many phone calls with our local store and with corporate customer service, we were told that the pilling fabric on our brand new sofa is normal and that we should buy a shaver and shave the pilling fabric. Ten months and replacing the fabric, we are still dealing with the same problem. Customer Service said that's normal and we should just continue "shaving" our couch. Our new couch looks like it is 20 years old. Customer Service was of no help. In fact they were condescending and offered a ridiculous solution. I now see why there are so many negative reviews. I would have been better off going to the flea market to purchase a couch.

    We really like their salesman. He was very good and gave us a lot of time and decorating tips which we certainly needed. We got quite a number of items and have been happy with all of them. The only issue that we've had, and I know we only used it a couple of weeks ago so we really haven't had a chance, is there are a couple of areas on the sectional that don't look like they are fully packed with fiber and they don't look quite right. Also the cushions are kind of seated a little bit. We've had La-Z-Boy products for decades but feel like there were a couple of areas in the sectional that could be improved in quality.

    We purchased a La-Z-Boy because our furniture is old and we are redoing our room. However, I called almost a week ago because the furniture that we received wasn't made very well. The soonest they can get someone out to even look at it is May 1st. Three weeks is quite ridiculous to have someone even come out to see if they can fix it or even if they have to order me a new one or whatever. I was frustrated and expressed that to them and was told that's all they can do, which is unacceptable.

    Our old furniture just wasn't working with the new house so we bought new furniture from La-Z-Boy. We used the decorator at the gallery and she was very helpful. We had some things in mind and she was able to show us a lot of things and understood what our taste was and helped us pick out pieces, which we feel are of good quality and reasonable cost. It took a few months to deliver them but the sales associate let us know the status of it. And then when it was delivered, she came out and helped us put it all together. The delivery team was very efficient too. A few pieces still haven't arrived yet, so that probably would be my only complaint.

And it did take a really long time to get the product, it took three months to get it. So, it was longer than what I was expecting. Also, the sales representative at the La-Z-Boy Gallery didn't seem as knowledgeable as I was hoping he would be. The manager was really good because I could overhear him talking to other customers about the different fabrics and what they mean and so I was listening in on that, expecting the salesperson to tell me the same thing but he didn't. But overall, it was a good experience - mainly because of the manager.

    I purchased this recliner for my father and the hand controller has a mind of itself. I have left msgs and sent email to store where I purchased and when I walked in to store was told no longer under warranty and they don't order replacement parts. They only provide warranty service. I have tried to locate online google, amazon, etc. Meanwhile my father can't use chair. In any event, this chair is just a few years old and was over $1000.00! Can someone from La-Z-Boy or anyone help me in locating this controller? The part # is 75000242 02. What is the point of paying the extra $$$ for the name if the company La-Z-Boy won't stand behind or help with repairs. If I can't get help I promise I you it will ruin an otherwise positive experience with La-Z-Boy products.

    I've been with La-Z-Boy for 25-30 years. Their frame is always good. I can depend on La-Z-Boy quality as far as the frame goes. The cost of La-Z-Boy product is not top of the line but definitely middle to upper. Their prices have increased the last 25 years quite a bit. Also, the delivery team was very good. They did a good job and very accommodating. On the other hand, the time to wait for the product is a bit exorbitant. Three months is a long time to wait for, particularly in January time frame when business is slow. Other than that, I'm satisfied.

    About four weeks after taking delivery of a rather high end, fully powered reclining chair, the foot rest would no longer close fully. It took about two weeks for a tech to visit and identify the problem. He took pictures and relayed to the factory what needed to be done to the seat to correct the problem. La-Z-Boy advised promptly that they would make a new seat for my chair to solve the problem. Delivery of a new seat took about eight weeks. The same tech returned to install the new seat into the chair. In about four weeks I am back on the phone with La-Z-Boy with the identical problem. A different tech comes out and goes through the same process as the first tech. Today, 3 weeks after the tech was here, I get a call and am told my three options: 1) Pick out a new chair, if it cost less than the original I am out the difference! 2) Pick out a new chair, if it costs more than the original I PAY the difference! 3) Order an identical chair at no cost.

    I can understand paying the difference if I select a higher priced unit, but they keeping the difference if I select a lower price unit is just plain wrong no matter how the fine print is written. Naturally I told them to build an identical chair. Stupidity of course is doing the same thing over and over with the expectation of different results. I hope the new chair works. If not we will go through the same routine again. Regardless, it's the last piece of La-Z-Boy I will ever buy.

    We were so happy to have beautiful, new, comfortable furniture... and just 2 years later the furniture frame is broken.... you cannot sit on the sofa.... and the 5 year warranty is worthless.

    I spent a great deal of time researching furniture and I fell in love with the La-z-boy Collins collection. After raising 6 kids... 5 of which have "flown the coop"... it was time to splurge on a new set. I spent 6 months researching (and several trips to the Lazy Boy Store to sit on this sofa) until I was sure... I decided on the Collins collection... stylish and comfortable. We purchased in November of 2012 and we were very happy... at first. After just 2 short years... and very light use... (it is just my husband, myself and our 9 year old son at home)... the sofa has completely fallen apart. The wood frame supporting the back has broken and the arms are falling off. This is especially surprising since the furniture still looks brand new. The covers are in perfect condition. My surprise turned to total dismay as I found out that my 5 year warranty only covers the upholstery. The frame is not covered and my beautiful furniture is now unusable.

    La-z-boy did send me new wood frame pieces and springs... and we can deconstruct the piece... yes I do mean deconstruct... remove the fabric... take apart the back and replace the wooden supports and springs... or we can "hire" La-z Boy to come and fix the sofa. I asked the representative (who was very kind) what she would do. She told me to weigh the option because the repair could be close to the cost of a new sofa. AARGHHH!!! After much discussion, the customer service rep is going to try and mitigate the repair charge but I will have to pay a minimum of $219 before they will look at the sofa. I am waiting to hear from La-z-Boy. They have sent the new parts... I have to pre-pay for the repair... not certain where this will go.

    I bought a new Lazy Boy Spa (Soul Mate) in Dec 2013. November 2014 I reported that it was not working. Now, March 24, 2015 (approaching 4 months), it is still not working! As a busy executive, I will give you the details later, but by now you should understand that your company has not stood by its warranty and something should be done about this at the executive level. The Spa was bought at Spa Man Spa, 21257 N. Black Canyon Hwy Phoenix, AZ 85027 in Phoenix, AZ. Their phone number is 602-998-7727. They had previously replaced a noisy pump in 2013. Then on Nov 28, 2013 I emailed them (because I had not gotten a response from a phone call). I indicated in the email that I only had cold water. They responded immediately that I should call the company that was servicing the warranty, Spa Tech 602-225-0004.

    Spa Tech scheduled a service call and diagnosed the problem as a pump failure. While they were here they tried to get the serial number of the spa. They even called the manufacturer to find where it might be. They assured us that everything would be handled at their office, after all, I had previously had a pump replaced under warranty. Having had one pump replaced under warranty, I understood that it would be another 2 or 3 weeks. More than 3 weeks had gone by, so I called Spa Tech. They were having trouble locating the serial number after a few calls, we all had the same serial number 2010-090337. That should be the end of it. Time went by and I called La-z-Boy Headquarters could not recognize the serial number and Spa Man Spa was going to their supplier for their invoice for the serial number.

    I could not believe what I was hearing and began to get suspicious that my spa was not an official La-Z-Boy Spa or was stolen goods. This is when I went directly to the online La-Z-Boy help. I entered my problem. After several days I received an email that the problem was resolved. Now, it has been 3 weeks and I have no working spa. Last thing I heard from Spa Tech was that they were waiting for a pump. My last email to Spa Man Spa has not been returned!

    We're having a problem with the La-Z-Boy chair that we bought because it squeaks and makes a lot of noise. When I look underneath it, the square frames for the rocker recliner and for the base aren't matched up properly. They're misaligned. One of them is twisted so when I rock the chair, the wood comes together and touches, then it squeaks and makes a horrible noise. Someone suggested that I just put powder on it so I tried that, but it didn't work. I know I've got to do something about it. And my wife is not well right now so I haven't taken the time to contact La-Z-Boy about the chair. Still, our experience with La-Z-Boy has been fine.

    I placed an order Sept. 25 for two chairs. They were delivered Nov. 29. The first call for service was Dec. 29 as the entire cushion on one of the chairs was no longer even, it listed to one side. After waiting several weeks and hearing nothing from the store I called and was told they were having problems getting the "core". Replaced it and I called again on March 17 because it was the same chair, same problem. They ordered "core" once again, heard nothing, called the store and was told it had been shipped March 27 and would arrive and the service man would be here April 2, they called and canceled saying the core did not come in, then added on a different call, the serviceman is in the hospital. Re-scheduled service again for April 10. I want on record what is going on. I see what they are attempting and that is to run out any guarantee. I paid nine hundred dollars each for these chairs and expect better.

    This is my third La-Z-Boy chair over the last 15 years. The chair that I had from them before is a few years old and it's in fairly good condition but I didn't buy one that was roomy enough. It was a little bit tight sitting in it and the feet was too low to the floor. I have trouble with my knee joints trying to get back up on the chair and I was thinking about a lift chair.

    So I went to see what they had and what the prices were. The sales representative at the La-Z-Boy gallery was very helpful. My son and his wife were with me and we had just started looking at a couple of chairs, and he came over right away to help me pick out what I was looking for and to check the prices. He stayed with me the whole time until I made a decision. This led me to my recently purchased power recliner. Their delivery team brought in the chair and set it up and got it all ready to go. They were polite and I didn't have any problems or complaints with them.

    The furniture is in excellent quality. It's not a lift chair but it's higher from the floor than my other chair. It's not quite as expensive as that one that lifted me up. But it's higher from the floor and I can get up easier. It has the remote control for lowering and raising the footrest and back. That's everything that I needed and it was on sale. La-Z-Boy had what I was looking for. They had prices that were a little bit better for me. And with the quality of the product and the quickness of delivery, I've got satisfaction with the chair.

    I purchased some furniture here a few weeks ago. I was promised it would be here by Easter which is a few days away. We have family coming in and no furniture. I called the store to get an update. I was told that the person who promised me this furniture would be here got fired for making unrealistic promises to customers. The lady who answered the phone said she is tired of dealing with all his customers that are calling to complain and hung up on me. I called back and talked with a manager who told me that I need to call customer service. I called customer service who told me that I need to call the manager and I am just being put in the middle. Now I have left messages with the manager and customer service but no one has returned my calls. It's very frustrating. I wish I never walked into this place.

    I ordered a La-Z-Boy recliner and the day it was delivered I had some issues with it. I called the store where I ordered it & was given a customer service number to call. I left a message. No one called back & so I called the store back. They called customer service & they called me back. They sent someone out to look at it & a few days later called & told me what they were willing to do which was to pick up the chair & have the arm re-upholstered & then deliver it back to me. They refused to replace the chair. I spent $1,000.00 for the chair & I feel like it should be delivered in to my satisfaction.

    After only 18 months, headrest leather is peeling. Insurance company says it's due to hair products or contamination. The suite has been cared for and cleaned with the product supplied with it. Should contamination happen just by laying your head back which you must do in a reclining position? Our previous suite of 15 years old is still in daily use with no visual signs of any leather defects. No member in the family use hair products apart from shampoo, etc.

    I purchased a sofa and love seat March 2014. In December I noticed the material separated on the upper arm part of both pieces. I contacted the store and they are letting me do a re-select. I was told that particular model number has a defective frame. La-Z-Boy did not contact me of such or neither did the store. I had to bring it to their attention. Now they tell me I have to bring the defective furniture back and then pick up the re-select. I will have to rent a U-Haul truck to do this and pay a driver and another person to do this. This will be well over 300.00 cost to me for La-Z-Boy selling defective furniture. I talked with a attorney who tells me La-Z-Boy and the furniture store where it was purchased are liable in reimbursement for these expenses.

    My boyfriend and I purchased a sectional in Jan of 2015. It was delivered and the delivery people seemed to do a great job. Even gave them an extra tip because they were so helpful, but that is where the good part of this review ends. Like so many of the reviews on this site, we found problems with the sectional after the delivery men left. There was an indention or scratch on one of the wood pieces and the back of the sectional is put together with cardboard that was bent and poking out in a weird angle. It looks horrible and since you can see the back of the sectional it doesn't work for us. We called several times for someone to come out and look at it and did not get a response for quite sometime. Finally, we were told that someone would come out and of course they didn't show up.

    After several more repeated calls to get them out, La-Z-Boy said that our apt was scheduled for the next week. This was not the case, but we're desperate to get someone out we just let it go. They finally did come out and stated that they would have to get parts for both of our items and it would take another 3-4 weeks. It has been well over that time and not once have we ever been contacted by La-Z-Boy to let us know about a delay. We have called them several times again and still nothing has been done. Several thousands of dollars were spent on this sectional because we thought we were going to get good quality furniture. How wrong we were.

    La-Z-Boy is not the quality furniture store it use to be and I will let everyone I know be aware of this. We have already made a complaint on the BBB and will continue to complain until we are satisfied that this type of experience is a thing of the past for future shoppers of La-Z-Boy. Will provide info later if needed as I do not have it all handy at the moment.

    After many weeks (eight, I believe) Our new sectional was ready for delivery. After it was set up, we noticed that the backs were not in perfect alignment, and one gap was far larger than the others (over 2 inches wide). Our unit free stands, not against a wall, so you really see the back. We contacted La-Z-Boy, and they arranged for someone to examine this (although the soonest appointment was a couple weeks out). The man who came was able to make the gap slightly less, but still far from what we hoped for quality furniture. In the future, I am not sure I would pay the substantial premium for La-Z-Boy. I am sure other brands would go together at least as well (our last sectional was better fitted when removed after 10+ years of service). In fairness, the unit is quite comfortable to sit on.

    Bought a $2,068 queen sleep sofa on 04/05//14 with a delivery date of July. When sofa was delivered 07/14 the sofa cushion were shaped uneven, the back side is uneven with a downward slant facing the sofa to my right. The throw pillows made for the sofa have pointed edges that look like ears. The seating cushions are uneven, sticking out uneven. We had it sent back to the manufacturer to fix. It was returned to us with minor changes but still out of shape. We were told it was built per specifications. Nothing else to change. SPECIFICATIONS??? La-Z-Boy needs to focus on Quality work. I guess quality is not important. Poor workmanship.

    Bought a new power recliner from Lake Zurich IL La-Z-Boy showroom. Had La-Z-Boy's chairs for 40 years, loved them until now. They have a 3 day exchange program, I was there the 4th day due to traveling this week on business. The chair still has the tag on it. Got it delivered, it was very uncomfortable, real bad if it's not reclined. Talked to my sales person **, on the phone, she said, "Come in and we will do the paper work and pick out a different chair," but she said I had to come when the mgr was there. I showed up, the mgr ** said it's one day late, and will have to accept a 30% restocking charge, which I was never in person about - it was a $1500 chair. For one day, they will lose a loyal customer of 40 years. Not going to lose $400. Looking at their ratings, out of 5 stars, they only get one star. How does a company like that stay in business. I will never buy another La-Z-Boy product again.

    I recently purchased a power recliner from La-Z-Boy. Very pleased with its quality and the mechanisms! The sales rep who waited on me knew her merchandise very well and let me spend several days in selecting the one that I really wanted. Scheduling the delivery was also a very positive experience because the associate called me the day before and the morning of the delivery. The delivery guys assembled everything well within 15-20 minutes. They made me sit down and try the recliner before they left.

    There's only one problem - it may not be a problem with the company - but I was led to believe that at least the lift mechanism in the chair would be under the expense that Medicare would pay. I'm still not sure if they will pay it or not. It has been really difficult to find out, first of all, if they really would pay and if they would, what I need to do or provide for them to pay for it. So that was in the way. Nevertheless, after everything, I'm glad with this purchase. It's not the company's fault. They're certainly not responsible for securing Medicare payment.

And their customer service manager really needs to learn how to spell correctly. We live in an age of computers and spell check!

    We finally got our sectional after like 9 weeks of waiting and when the techs are done installing it they quickly exit saying all is well. Well... all is not that well. I found that the handle had broken on the powered console and after closer inspection the cross brace in the bottom was also broken. I figured they dropped it and covered it up by hightailing it out of there quickly after installation. I contacted customer service and was told that they 'might' replace the whole console. Might? I would say that after spending 5G on a sectional that they make good on their quality. I am still waiting for someone to get back to me. Love the rest of the couch, but this type of customer service is not a good indicator of "World class service!"

    Ordered a power reclining sofa on January 3, 2015. Was told it could be 6-8 weeks for delivery, but most happen in 4-6. The salesman said he would check the status at 4 weeks and give us an update. Four weeks came and went. My wife had to call for an update. To date (19 March) we have not received an update unless we call and ask.

    The ship date has changed twice with no communication to us unless we call, and less than satisfactory explanations when we do get our salesman on the phone. I actually had the salesman hang up on me on March 7th, because someone came into the store and he needed to help them (from my side of the conversation, he had my money and needed to go get someone else's...my lack of a sofa was not his problem). I immediately called back to speak to the store manager and was told that he was busy, but if I left a voice mail he would return my call. I did leave a voice mail and 12 days later I'm still waiting for the call.

    We love the La-Z-Boy products but the customer service at the Franklin, TN store (salesman - **; Manager - **) has certainly made us second guess future purchases of La-Z-Boy products. We are now looking at 3 months for potential shipping of our sofa and have been given no alternative options other than wait!!! I am not confident that we will get a sofa in the first quarter of 2015, and I am certain that any information I get along the way will come from me asking questions. I have sold my current sofa and will have to give it up to its new owner soon. Looks like I'll be sitting in a straight chair while waiting on my sofa.

    I made a transaction in person at the La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery in Troy, Michigan on August 19, 2014 for the purchase of a sectional sofa with three motorized recliners. The total price of this sectional sofa was $6,262.40. This amount reflects the sale price. The original price of the sofa was $8,494.40. I paid a deposit of $1,878.72 on August 19, 2014 and then I was required to pay the balance owing of $4,383.68 in person in the store before the sofa would be scheduled for delivery. The sofa was delivered to me the first week of October 2014.

    Two weeks after receiving the sofa one of the motorized recliners started to malfunction. I called the store where I purchased the sofa and they referred me to Customer Care, which is their customer service department. I had to schedule an appointment for someone to come out to look at the malfunctioning recliner. I had to wait over two weeks for this appointment. The technician came out on November 7, 2014. He discovered that there was indeed a damaged part under the recliner, he took a few photos and said he would recommend a replacement recliner be made.

    At the time of this service call, I expressed my concern with how loose the fabric was on the sofa and the creases in the fabric. He said that was normal for custom ordered furniture. He said I would have to smooth the fabric on the cushions each time after they were sat on. He then proceeded to tell me that we should sit around on all of the sofa cushions regularly since the cushions would compress by 30% in the first year and it would not look good if we sat in the same areas all of the time. I was not happy with this information, considering I ordered recliners to be the chairs that would primarily be used. I know a few people who have La-Z-Boy recliners and the cushions look and feel the same after fifteen years as they did the day they were brand new.

    A few weeks later it became evident that this sofa I had just purchased for over $6,000.00 was nowhere near the quality and value of a $6,000.00 sofa. I know what a sofa for $6,000.00 should look and feel like. I examined the sofa underneath and was shocked to see the thin cheap foam that was exposed and the press board that was used for construction. These are not materials that are used for high-end furniture that should last for years and years. With very minimum use the cushions started to compress, you could feel the framing underneath some of the cushions, the fabric has become more loose with more creases and wrinkles.

    Moving on the sofa makes creaking sounds and it started to become more uncomfortable to sit on to the point of causing me back pain. I could no longer sit on this sofa for more than a few minutes without having back stiffness and pain. It is uneven and the cushions do not line up. Besides the fabric being loose and creased, it also leaves fibers on our clothing. One of the other motorized recliners started to sound and move like it was beginning to break down. My new sofa looks like it is five years old. Family and friends have agreed that it looks like something purchased at a discount store or at Salvation Army.

    I went to the store at the end of November and spoke with one of the managers about my dissatisfaction and disappointment. The manager called Customer Care while I was there and told me they would be calling me back. She said they had to have someone come out to look at it. On December 10, 2014 a technician came to my home, I pointed out all of my concerns and made clear my dissatisfaction. He didn't seem interested in my concerns, he did not take any photos and he said he would report my concerns and dissatisfaction to Customer Care. He even sat on an area where you could feel the framing underneath and he said that you would feel that on the recliners, which is beyond unacceptable to me.

    On December 15, 2014 I went back to the store and told them I didn't hear back from anyone and that I wanted to return the sofa. The manager, **, didn't seem interested in what I had to say. She acted like she wanted to get me out of the store as fast as she could. She said they want their customers happy and that she would make a phone call to management and call me back in two days. I told her I had photos of the sofa and she asked me to send them to her, which I did. I never heard back from her or Customer Care.

    I went back to the store on December 19, 2014 and spoke with the manager that I had spoken with at the end of November. She said that yes she did see the photos I had e-mailed to ** and that they were forwarded to Customer Care. She called Customer Care while I waited. She agreed that the sofa was not acceptable and that she would call me back later that day or by the next day with an answer as to what they were going to do. I told her that I was not going to keep furniture that looks and feels like it is five years old. She was agitated that she had to deal with my dissatisfaction.

    As of today, I have not heard anything from La-Z-Boy regarding my visits to the managers of the store or to my e-mail with the photos. On December 22, 2014 the delivery men brought the replacement recliner only to discover that it was not a motorized recliner. It has been a couple of months and no one has called acknowledging this error. And not to mention that for two months I could not use the sofa with recliner as intended when I made the purchase. The only reason I accepted the wrong and less costly recliner is because the broken one was useless and I thought it would be a good idea for them to have a working recliner if they intended to resell it. This sofa has been available for return to them whenever they wish to pick it up, they have known about my dissatisfaction and desire to return the sofa for months, but I am being totally ignored by La-Z-Boy with the hope that I will just go away.

    Seeing how they do business and seeing how they were choosing to ignore my request for a refund, I had no other choice but to file a dispute regarding the charges made to my credit card. But of course, La-Z-Boy would not work with them in any way so my dispute was not honored. After spending hours, and hours and hours and hours reading hundreds and hundreds of complaints on the La-Z-Boy consumers affair website https://www.consumeraffairs.com/furniture/lazboy.html?page=4 I am finding it so heartbreaking and sad to read how deplorable La-Z-Boy is treating their customers and the inferior furniture they are selling, it is despicable.

    Every dissatisfied customer has vowed to never buy from La-Z-Boy again. They are telling everyone they know to stay away from La-Z-Boy and they are going on social media to inform people to never purchase anything from this company. This company that once built high-end furniture is now building junk and charging high-end prices for it.

    I have purchased a lot of custom made furniture over the last twenty-five years and I have never encountered such poor materials, manufacturing or customer service. The inferior materials and workmanship are disgraceful. Every complaint follows the same basic steps. La-Z-Boy makes claims about how well made the furniture is. They brag about their warranties. They get the sale and they get your money. If you are not happy they will give you the run around, pass the buck, make several attempts to repair unrepairable furniture, not replace new furniture that is delivered damaged or broken and ignore you until you go away. They make every excuse and reason not to honor their commitment to quality furniture and excellent service.

    A few examples: People have been told by La-Z-Boy that they are sitting on the furniture wrong, that the reason their leather is fading and cracking after a few months is because of the oils on their skin, or that the piling on the fabric is normal after a few months and that the customer should use a sweater shaver on their furniture. I have never heard of such nonsense. The complaints go on and on and on. I am not going to accept furniture that is nowhere near the value of what I paid. This sofa is in my main living area and for me or anyone not to be able to sit on it is totally unacceptable, not to mention how unsightly it looks.

    There is a statement they have printed on their brochures about commitment to comfort and quality furniture to be enjoyed for years to come. I believe it implies a warranty of merchantability. I trusted La-Z-Boy. I trusted that they were the same company they were years ago that built high end furniture that was comfortable and lasted for years and years. If I would have read the customer reviews before trusting that they were still a reputable company, I would never have made this purchase. For a company claiming it is the same as it was years ago, and getting sales based on their previous reputation is deceitful and probably actionable.

    There is a law that is in place in Michigan protecting buyers from sellers taking advantage of them. This law is Implied Warranty of Merchantability. I am entitled to get my money's worth or I have the right to return it for a full refund if the product does not meet my expectations and the manufacturer's claims. Last week, I made another attempt to get this resolved by going into the store where my purchase was made, the manager ** called Customer Care and was told that I would have to take legal action... I asked "Does that mean I should sue La-Z-Boy" and she said "Yes, that is what Corporate has responded with." Wow! Really??? Great customer satisfaction La-Z-Boy! I have filed a complaint with the BBB (Better Business Bureau).

    We purchased two of these power recliners with custom leather. We waited the normal 10-12 weeks and when the chairs came, I was so excited! After a month or so of sitting in these chairs, the lumbar support is poking through the back and there is no way to get rid of it. We had customer service come out about 2 weeks ago and he could only add additional padding to the area, which has already moved and the lumbar system in poking through again! I have also noticed that the headrest and backrest is losing its foam padding and there are huge divots in the headrest.

    It also feels that the salesperson sold us recliners that are too large for us, as we can barely touch the floor when the footrest is lower. She said, "It is perfect size for you two." Yeah RIGHT! She just wanted a big sale! What happened to La-Z-Boy products? They used to be the bomb... Now customer service sucks and so does the product! Will continue to work with them to try to get this resolved!

    I purchased the Mackenzie La-z-boy couches (2) and the recliner. We get a shock every time we get off the furniture. Have purchased humidifiers, sprayed with anti static spray and put dryer sheets under the cushions. None of this solves the problem. We do not have this problem with any of the other furniture in the room only the la-z-boy furniture. If anyone has this problem please let me know how you solved it. I love the comfort of this furniture but am thinking of getting rid of it because of this problem.

    Thinking that La-z-boy was the top of the line, on 10/16/13 I regretfully purchased a La-z-Boy Sofa with 2 recliners and a La-z-Boy loveseat with 2 recliners. It took approximately two weeks for the seat on the sofa to sink and to feel as if you are sitting on one of the boards. As a result, I have to use a pillow on the seat. The loveseat isn't much better but to be fair, it did take a few weeks longer to sink and not quite as bad as the sofa. I have a medical problem and needed firm support when sitting. My old sofa had become too soft. So I spent three thousand dollars to purchase what I already had - a soft sofa. Lesson well learned. The next time, I will do my homework when making a large purchase.

    We recently bought a sectional. Before we purchased the sectional I wanted to see spatially how it was going to fit in the room and all they did was take pictures and overlay the picture of the piece of furniture over different walls, if they’re going to look right in it and in the carpet. It's very misleading, it wasn’t spatially, it doesn't really show. So that was a waste of my time.

    My big big gripe with La-Z-Boy, however, is really with the horrible customer service I experienced when we had a problem with our free standing recliner. The free standing recliner, which is a power unit, didn't want to power down and it ended up getting powered all the way up and it's stuck there. I called Sunday and was told, “We'll have somebody call you in the next couple of days.” I’d be calling on Wednesday and the guy at the store ** was really helpful. After calling the store, somebody called saying “We'll have repairmen call you to make an appointment.” But here we are Thursday, it’s been a week, and I still don't have anything on the books about getting that thing repaired.

    Sales wise they were all helpful, real friendly. But it's very disappointing trying to get something scheduled. An email was sent to service center and they're like “Oh we probably got the email but we haven't got through it yet.” So I said to the gal in the service center, "Your email would have been there the beginning of your workday on Monday. Here it is Wednesday afternoon and you didn’t even bother to look at your email?" That's really horrible customer service. ** was really helpful trying to get this service thing going on, but everybody else has been horrible. I'm a very customer service oriented person and stuff like that just irritates me to no end. We paid a hefty price for their product and then it's like they don't stand behind it?

    Ordered furniture from La-Z-Boy in Timonium, MD on Jan 24, 2015. Was told the sofa was in stock and that the chair was a special order that would take 6-8 weeks. Paid a deposit, sales person offered to deliver the sofa right away and I said I didn't want to pay 2 delivery charges. She said, "Oh no we can split the delivery charge so you only pay $100 total delivery. Let us know when you are ready for the sofa." I called yesterday to schedule delivery of the sofa and was told I would have to pay for both the sofa and chair in full. The chair is not due in until the end of March. We offered to pay the balance due on the sofa, half the cost for the chair and the delivery charge.

    Corporate headquarters basically called us liars - said we were never told they could split the delivery! La-Z-Boy has been sitting on $675 of our money since the end of January and now they want another $1500 before they will deliver a $900 sofa AND another $100 to deliver the chair whenever it finally comes in! Your salespeople must be very poorly trained and your customer service leaves much to be desired. I am highly dissatisfied with my La-Z-Boy experience thus far. I only hope the product itself is not as big a disappointment.

    It’s our first time to purchase a La-Z Boy to replace the other chair we had which was broken and dirty. Their sales rep was very attentive, helpful, went through the colors, and found out which ones were available. She also scheduled the delivery right away. One thing I thought we should have gotten and I don’t know if it was ever mentioned or if it was extra was the arm covers for the chairs, like throw covers. I was telling her about my couch that had flawed and she said, “Oh it’s probably stapled underneath your couch.” So I turned these chairs over looking and there wasn't. I didn't know but I was shocked that they didn't come with it. But so far everything else with the La-Z Boy is fine.

    Ordered chair on 1/16/15 as store didn't have in stock. Told by **, the salesman est. delivery would be estimated March 19th. Called last month to check status and girl who answered phone tells me April 1st. Called today and was told that La-Z-Boy had changed to a new and improved leather which will not be in until mid April, then the chair still needs to be made. Salesman tells me he just found this out when he called "dealer services" and that he wouldn't have known this until I called to check on delivery as I asked why I wasn't aware of this new and improved leather when I ordered the chair. This was purchased as a birthday gift for a birthday in January, the recipient is as frustrated as I am and doesn't believe this chair even exists and wants me to cancel it and purchase a chair elsewhere. I have emailed La-Z-Boy directly but no one has returned my email. People, please read these reviews prior to purchasing!

    I recently bought a La-Z-Boy because the first one I got many years back got outdated two years ago and everything was worn out. It was a recliner-couch, and the recliner wouldn't work anymore on the ends. The sales representative and the delivery team were pretty helpful, they even took my old one out and threw it in the back of my pickup for me, and I thought that was very nice.

    The only negative thing I got about it is I paid about 1500 bucks and I didn't get any arm protectors. La-Z Boy offers arm protectors but they’re just a drape-over style, they don’t cover the front. And you’d think that if you pay $1500 for a couch, you’d get arm protectors. I called customer service about it and he said, no, they don’t furnish arm protectors anymore. So what I did was I got on the internet and I couldn't find any that looked like it would fit so I took the arm protectors off my recliner/chair and they sat almost perfect. The only thing is they don’t match color-wise. But that's my only problem with it -- so far it's good and I love the electric function, really nice.

    We ordered a recliner from La-Z-Boy and had it made so we had to wait. When we went over to pick it up and brought home, it had an odor to it. I couldn't figure it out although I remember I had a headache. In fact my dog usually sits on my lap and she wouldn't even get on the chair. I had to run out to Arizona and so it sat in my house for 4 weeks. The odor was still there but not as strong so I went back to the store and told them about it. They said that I could switch it to another. So I got another one in-store and brought it home and it's okay. Other than that, the store itself is fine and the salesperson was very nice.

    Never again will I purchase from La-Z-Boy. I purchased a Reclina-Rocker that unfortunately smells as though it was treated with insecticide; I have owned the chair for 4 days.     I am so sorry I bought a recliner at La-Z-Boy!! I went in for a Riley and the salesman pointed me towards the Rowan because I would want to swivel and Rock, and it's so popular and always in stock. Well, three months later my "always in stock" recliner was finally delivered. I was ecstatic. Until I sat in it. It is off balance and tries to dump you out of the seat. And to recline, you have to throw yourself back and hope it locks into place. It's the worst chair I have ever sat in.

    Their furniture is extremely overpriced for the poor quality. Their return policy is 48 hours, and after weeks of trying to convince myself that I liked the awful and unbalanced chair, I finally threw in the towel and returned to the store, where they directed me to customer service. The customer service was rude and would not let me exchange the horrible chair. And to make matters worse, my defective chair can only be serviced on a Thursday. I am beyond livid and I will shout from the rooftops at everyone I meet how horrible a company this has become. I'll be very surprised if they're still in business a year from now, as this level of style, service and quality is long outdated. Next time I'll go to Z gallerie. Or Macy's. Or rooms to go. Or anywhere else really. La-Z-Boy is the worst!!! $1100 down the drain.

    La-Z-Boy is really good, been great so far. The one we got was excellent - fair price and quality. Also, we had no problems with their employees. The first couple reps we talked to were kind of okay. Then we went in to look again after we purchased somewhere else to make sure we're making the right move. We spoke to a guy who was very knowledgeable and showed us other options. He saved us a ton of money by showing us the difference between bonded leather and regular leather and we decided to purchase with him the bonded leather and it saved us at least a couple of thousand dollars and it looks exactly the same. Then the associate we arranged the delivery with pretty much told us when they were going to come and the delivery guy was going to call us up. It all happened just the way he described it.

We had a special order because I wanted the power chair to have the matching material with my wife's chair so there was about a four-week waiting period.     I wanted new furniture to replace my 25-year old one and we chose La-Z-Boy. Everything was fine until they delivered the sofa. It was delivered damage and I'm being given a runaround about it. They sent a technician out and they're waffling about how to fix it. I get the feeling that they won't do anything about it. As far as I'm concerned I've got a damaged sofa and that's it and because once the furniture is delivered La-Z-Boy claims no more responsibility. They say that it's now up to some service to decide whether they'll fix it or what. I think it's terrible and I'm very unhappy that I spent that kind of money. I feel that as a major company they should be willing to talk to the customer about it, not slough me off to somebody else which is what La-Z-Boy did.

    We had an addition to the family so I needed a rocking chair for our bedroom to rock him in, in addition to one that we had in the living room. We set about looking for a rocker for me and then decided to get my parents a recliner as well to replace the old one that they have.     I have had a La-Z-Boy recliner for 2 years and have had nothing but trouble with it from the start. I guess there are "lemons" in every field. However that is not my complaint right now. We had a service technician come to our home this morning. His truck got stuck in our driveway and had to be towed. The behavior of this technician was so obnoxious and unacceptable. He went on a rampage, using the "F" word and many other curse words that should never be used in front of a customer. I completely understand his frustration in getting stuck in the driveway. But he also said this has happened many times before because his tires are completely worn out.

    Nonetheless, no matter his level of frustration you should never continuously swear at a customer and act in this manner. When he left he told the tow truck driver that he would switch to another vehicle and finish his appointments for today. My husband asked if he would be back here. He said "are you kidding me". Then just left, being totally rude.

    My husband has a very calm and peaceful personality and even invited him inside for a cup of coffee while waiting for the tow truck to arrive. The tech would have none of this. He continued to talk irreverently. His behavior was completely unacceptable and unprofessional and he should not be dealing with customers. This technician did not even call customer service and report that our appointment was not taken care of today. But yet he proceeded to other appointments.

    Well I purchase a Chaise Reclina-Glide chair for $ 813.00. First it took an extra 4 weeks after the 8 week estimated delivery. After getting it home and set up, I used it for less than 7 months and all the filling was so matted that my legs were basically on wood. I called in and was told I would be able to get foot section repaired. Well after months of waiting I was still on back order. Seeing I purchased this chair in Jan of 2014 I called in before my warranty would run out. I was told seeing I didn't get the chair till april my warranty was good till april. I call back after waiting months to have the replacement foot section replaced and complained that now the arms and back are matted and it's like wood (probably cardboard, see it's a La-z-boy). I was told don't worry, the technician will look at when he comes.

    Well seeing La-z-boy is not delivering the foot section (over 2 month wait) they sure they will wait till my warranty is no longer valid, I will be stuck with a total piece of junk. The service and product quality of La-z-boy is the worst I have had the misfortune of ever buying and dealing with. I feel this company sells products that they know will never be delivered when stated and will service when they are good and ready. Well I plan to write to everyone I can think of to complain. I have already file a complaint with the BBB and Consumer Affairs. DON’T BUY LA-Z-BOY FURNITURE IF YOU WANT QUALITY.

    Our previous recliner had fallen apart so we went to the La-Z-Boy gallery. I was impressed! I told the lady about my chair falling apart and what I was looking for and then she flips one over and shows me how to construct it, which most companies wouldn't do. She helped me figure out a number of alternatives. In fact it's a staggering number so it took me a day or two to think it over and talk to my wife and come back with a plan of action. I got a lot of information and got to see all the choices that were available which were quite amazing.

    In general their products seem pretty pricey but I was very clear that I was a budget shopper and they found something that was on sale and was right about what I expected so I came back happy on that score as well. There was a bit of an issue with the delivery schedule and I was disappointed that it came a week later than I expected but it was explained and I get what happened. I was impressed with the crew as a whole. The pick up was also very well done. The guy was really helpful and it seemed like it was a very good team and everybody pitched in in a way and it was interesting. They were cooperative and it was well done.

    I am writing to you to let you know how dissatisfied my wife and I are with the latest furniture that we purchased in 2012. In 2012 we purchased our third set of furniture from La-Z-Boy, which consisted of a sofa and a recliner with a burgundy/tan flower print fabric and a recliner with burgundy diamond print fabric. Just over two years since we purchased this set of furniture, we started to see little slits in the fabric in both of the recliners. The burgundy/tan floral print fabric recliner had one location in the center of the seat cushion, and the recliner with the burgundy diamond print pattern fabric had various locations with slits: one slit in the center of the seat cushion and two slits in the left armrest.

    When we purchased our furniture in 2012 we also purchased the Guardsman 5-Year Over & 1000 Elite Furniture Protection Plan. So when this situation came about I sent Guardsman the information they requested, and I also took pictures of the furniture (which was part of their warranty process). I called them to ask how I should send the pictures that I took of the furniture; they told me that they did not need the photos, stating that their protection plan did not cover damages caused by animals or workmanship. I had told them that I did not know how the furniture was damaged, so their decision was based only on speculation, considering they had not even viewed the pictures.

    I should add that we have been La-Z-Boy customers for the last 17 years. The first set of furniture we purchased from La-Z-Boy was back in 1997; that furniture saw regular use between my wife and I, our two daughters growing up, and various dogs and cats. We needed to buy new furniture in 2004. Our first set of La-Z-Boy furniture lasted for 7 years. Out of that first set of furniture we still have one swivel chair; it is seventeen years old, and in better shape than the two recliners we recently purchased in 2012. In 2004 we purchased our second set of furniture from La-Z-Boy, and that set of two recliners and the recliner sofa lasted for 8 years. Out of that second set of furniture we still have one recliner chair; it is ten years old, and (despite minor wear in the center of the seat cushion/no slits) it is in better shape than the two recliners we recently purchased in 2012.

    With one daughter out of the house, no cats, and two dogs who are too old to jump on the furniture, the new furniture receives less use but shows more wear than furniture we purchased in the past from La-Z-Boy in just a time span of two years. I realize that La-Z-Boy only has a one year warranty on fabric, but I cannot believe we spent $600 per reclining chair that only lasted two years. The only reason we have been loyal to La-Z-Boy for 17 years is that we like the recliner chairs, (previously) the quality of construction, and the fact that we have never had any problems with the mechanical side of any of the furniture.

    I refuse to believe that the quality La-Z-Boy has to offer has a life span of two years or less. Additionally, I cannot accept that our purchase of the Guardsman 5-Year Over & 1000 Elite Furniture Protection Plan was for naught. I am requesting that La-Z-Boy rectifies this situation. If not, La-Z-Boy can expect to lose a loyal customer of 17 years, as well as future customers, as I will forward this information to the Better Business Bureau and post it on the internet.

    Note: As of February 3, 2015 I still haven't received any correspondence from your company on this above letter that I've sent out on December 28, 2014 which I take as an answer that La-Z-Boy doesn't care enough of their customers to actually respond to my letter which I just sent your company again, so I guess I can proceed with my method to get my concerns across. If you feel that you would like to make an attempt to actually answer my letter you can E-mail me your response. Unhappy Customer.

    First I want to say that my time with ** was EXTREMELY enjoyable!! I am extremely disappointed that I can't continue to use her service through no fault of her own, I had to call the Bolingbrook store 4 times before some answered! When someone answered I was told that because I was on the phone I was not important because I was not in the store. I asked to speak to the manager and was told that I was speaking to the manager and her name was **. She stated that she was busy.

    How many customers have been lost because of her lack of concern for customers that call instead of being in the store regardless if they have already been in the store? How difficult is it to ask a customer to wait a minute and answer the phone? Answer the phone and apologize that you are with someone and will call them right back. Would have been a solution. I had already been in the store and was planning on buying at least 2 leather couches and hopefully tables and an entertainment center and maybe other stuff.

    We order 2 lazy boy recliners, changed the fabric. This was on Nov. 28 2014. They told us, 6 weeks for the chairs to come in. We waited for 8 weeks - still no chairs. I called them (La-Z-Boy). They didn't know why the chairs were not ready. They (La-Z-Boy) told me he would send them a email and would call me back. I never received a call. On March 5, I called them again and they (La-Z-Boy) said it just came in. I asked if we could receive some compensation for waiting in so long. They asked the manager and he said no. That would have been alright but he said it took so long due to the weather. Why does he feel the need to lie to me? They (La-Z-Boy) should have been on it in January. Is this how you treat your customers? We will not be buying any more lazy boys and I will tell people how they treat customers.

    A year ago, I purchased two identical La-Z-Boy recliners, as our other ones had some years on them, and thought it was time to replace. After receiving my order, at first was pleased, then once started sitting in the recliner... noticed the comfort level was not good. Feels like sitting on the frame, even arms, when reading paper, with elbow resting on it, padding goes clear down. I have a complaint in now, and have not heard back yet, what they may do, so I can't go on a rant yet, as perhaps the store and La-Z-Boy will rectify... just wanted to get my info out there... still like my OLD La-Z-Boy better... and that is sad... don't think the new ones measure up to the 20 plus years ones. So I marked satisfied... till I find out the fix.

    We started buying La-Z-Boy in the 70's and since we've just recently moved and had more rooms, we needed furniture so we purchased a sofa, loveseat, chair, ottoman and art work from them once again. I enjoyed working with their sales reps. The sales and delivery went smooth and the main installer stayed for the duration and did a very good job. The furniture we have is of good quality and we wouldn't have bought it if we didn't appreciate the difference in relation to its cost.

    I also love the way that they sell the artwork. You pick the artwork that you want, and they scale it to your wall and I think that is fantastic. However one of the pieces came and it wasn't properly stretched. It was obvious that it wasn't properly done. They should have given us credit for knowing the difference, instead of making us jump through hoops to get that corrected.

    We purchased the VERY EXPENSIVE Griffin leather sectional in August 2015. We had the entire sectional replace in December 2015. The new one is breaking down too. We are VERY disappointed in the quality and would not recommend La-Z-Boy to ANYONE!! We put two Reclining Loveseats together to make one long sofa. Each loveseat was $1830. Personally, I don't think this set was designed to connect this way, which may be the problem but now we are STUCK.

    Everything was perfect with La-Z-Boy. My husband purchased a recliner about 20 years ago and now recently purchased another La-Z-Boy because our chair was already 20 years old. We were interested in recliners, a loveseat and an electrical one but I sit on the couch with my laptop and so she recommended that we get the manual because with the electric as soon as the bottom comes up, the back goes back. My son has one like that and it wouldn't help me when I sit on the couch with my laptop.

    My husband is also on the couch with his laptop and we need the back upright and not reclining when we put our feet up. So that was a good point that she pointed out that we didn't think of. She also gave us plenty of time to think about it, try different sets out and was not pushy. Plus the delivery people were excellent. Our new La-Z Boy is excellent so far and everything looks very well made. The fabric seems to be very comfortable and the fitting is comfortable. It’s only been a few days but we’re quite happy with it right now.

    If you are reading this be extremely careful if you buy furniture from La-Z-Boy. They showed me pictures of a recliner with full foot rest & delivered one with 2 parts with spaces between. The Internet also shows a single part. They said that since I accepted the delivery they would not change it. They also insist that that model has a divided foot rest- even though the Internet shows it as single. They offered me $99 for the sofa that costs over $3,000. This is an extremely unreliable and dishonest company. Please be wary of any purchase.

    I purchased a room of furniture including a sofa, two chairs, two end tables, a cocktail table, an entertainment center, a recliner and two lamps in one day at my local La-Z-Boy store. Recliner was a La-Z-Boy item. The remainder of the furniture was Kincaid. Sales department was great. They came out on delivery day and set everything up. After a few months, the entertainment piece had to be replaced because of a crack on the top and a door that lost it screws because of improper installation. After a few more months, the cocktail table had two casters that broke off. The salesperson had someone replace them. Then, another caster broke. I was told I wasn't suppose to use the casters as wheels to move my table to vacuum. Service person said she would order more casters. The casters are not sufficient to support table.

    I asked for the casters to be replaced with the feet like the ones on my square end table. I was told an entire leg would have to be ordered. Seriously, a whole leg just to get the screw on foot that is interchangeable with several pieces in the collection. I like the look of the Moonlight Bay Collection but I would not buy it again. My warranty will be up in April of this year. Maybe my service person just wants to wait until after that date and then try to sell me the six parts I need to repair my cocktail table. I told was told by salesperson that this furniture would be with me for years. I don't believe that is true.

    For the last 40+ years we’ve had La-Z-Boy’s in the house. My wife's on her second recliner now, she gave the other one to my son. Eight months ago we also bought a couch with two recliners in it from them. Unfortunately, I’m a big dude and I kept crushing the stuffing in the couch so I’ve had them out twice to replace the cushions in the couch where I sit. Eventually we had to do some rearranging and I got the big chair that won’t crush on me. It has only been here about a week but so far it's working the way I want it to and seems to be holding up.

    When we purchased our furniture the salesperson who attended us was great. She let us look and sit and she explained everything so we're satisfied. We also had no problems scheduling the delivery. They told us it would be six to eight weeks before they could deliver the furniture. They called a day ahead of time and then called when they were coming. The three guys who brought it in and set it up seemed like nice enough guys.

    Took possession on power chair on 10/11/13 - This leg lift and reclining back chair. Only one person home and now having to replace motor or something for second time. Hand control has no lights, I have unplugged and plugged in several times to try to get it to reset as they told me last time. 1st control went out in January of 2014 and now another out 2/2015. If this is as long as your products last I certainly will not be purchasing La-Z-Boy again.

    We purchased a leather living room set in 2012 and 2 years later one of the three pieces began to peel. This was a defect in the product because this piece was used no differently and is peeling in multiple spots but the other two pieces are not peeling at all, anywhere. We also purchased a protection plan for 5 years. I am here to say that for a supposedly high-end brand La-z Boy is not too concerned about the quality of their products, because when they sell a bad piece they will not stand behind it and either fix or replace it.

    I should correct that...they'd be happy to fix it if we paid them to, or replace it if we purchased a new piece, but given that the damage was a defect in the product it makes no sense why we would do that. Additionally, the warranty we purchased, it only covered damage caused by us. So, just beware, the high price does not mean quality, it just means name brand. And the warranty, unless you have kids or are willing to lie about keying your couch (advise we were given to get this fixed), I'd not bother with it.

    We had purchased a rocker recliner back in 2013 for our baby that we were expecting in June. We purchased it from the La-Z-Boy, Sugar Land, TX location. After its delivery, long story short, we had to replace it and eventually return it due to it making several noises and being unsteady when we reclined. We ended up changing it for a glider which initially was fine but after a few months, it began making horrible sounds and we had your repair men come inspect it at the house and ultimately that chair, since it could not be fixed in your warehouse, had to be replaced. I was dealing with the main service contact person for Sugar Land, Michelle, whose customer service was absolutely terrible. She was not understanding at all and very short tempered which made the whole process even worse.

    We wanted to get the chair repaired, then after waiting almost 3 weeks from leaving a message with another representative, Porche, Michelle called back to say that first, they got back to me as soon as they could... 3 weeks later and did not even apologize. Then she said that the chair, if picked up, would need to be charged to us for pick-up and delivery because it was out of contract. At first I did not want to move forward because I thought it was unfair to charge us especially since we had been dealing with so many issues. Then, since the chair was making so much noise and it is the way we rock our son to sleep, I decided to just pay the fee for delivery. When my wife tried to set up the pickup with Porche, she then says that it would cost 100 dollars per hour to work on the chair as well. This was never told to me by Michelle. We then decided not to move forward at all.

    Now we are just stuck with this expensive chair which has not been worth one penny. We thought that going through La-Z-Boy for our chair was a good decision initially, thinking we would get a good, quality product for our baby that we would have for many years. We were terribly mistaken. Now the chair sounds like something is really broken when we glide which makes us very concerned. It's just very sad that we went through this experience. It has been so exhausting and very frustrating to deal with your customer service representatives and on top of that, dealing with this chair that is about to fall apart. We feel as though this has been very unfair and unprofessional and would like something to be done.

    I recently purchased a reclining sofa and 2 chairs from our local store in Wilmington. After using couch for 2-3 months, arm rest had permanent intentions, fabric was weirdly sagging and seat cushions were lumpy. I went through the proper channels and had a tech from customer care come out to my home. He took pics, adjusted mechanics, and agreed that it was not built correctly. Fast forward a week later and they hadn't called. I called the customer care and rep told me that the investigation was completed. The couch was deemed "not cost effective" for repair and recommended to replace. The rep told me that the local store would receive this info within 1-3 business days.

    Another week passed with no call so I contacted the local store. Spoke with manager and he claimed to have no knowledge of it. I asked how I could help facilitate the process. He told me to call customer care again as opposed to being a professional and doing it himself. I called and the same info was told to me - case resolved, sending info to local store. Another week passes and I call local store again. Asked to speak to manager and was told he wasn't there. While explaining my issue to salesman, the manager miraculously appeared. Instead of being professional once again, I was told that the manager was going to his desk to get to the bottom of it. Was assured by salesman that the manager would be calling me back by next day at the latest.

    Here I am, going into 5th week of starting this process and the local store has done Nothing! Not to mention paying over $1200 for a couch that didn't even last 4 months. Poor product to say the least. I am so frustrated. I can't find any info to contact corporate. This store doesn't deserve to be in business if this is how they conduct themselves. No offer of compensation for the cost of the couch, the time I have had to deal with a inferior product, nor just general inconvenience. I will NEVER buy from them again. I will tell each and every person I meet about my poor experience with this store. It's embarrassing to have friends and family over for a visit and there is an eyesore of a couch in my entertaining area. I am beyond frustrated and don't know how to reach anyone to escalate it. Please help!

    I am disabled & need to sit quite often. We bought a Lazyboy reclining couch & loveseat. I sit in the love seat & within 6 months of getting the furniture, my husband & i noticed the cushion was sinking. Now it is so bad that i need to find a pillow or somehow plump it back up. It is embarrassing when we have Company over. I usually keep it covered with a sheet.

    Where are La-Z-Boy's responses to the negative reviews/complaints on this site?!?! The quality of construction of my two, VERY EXPENSIVE leather chairs is POOR! The springs are poorly connected to the frame; they rub against another part of the frame and make horrible noises and feel terrible; and, their connection to the frame breaks apart easily. La-Z-Boy has already repaired one chair TWICE and now I need service on the other chair. Also, I agree with another complaint on this site about La-Z-Boy's website. Not having prices is ridiculous and contact information is TERRIBLE! I would NOT recommend La-Z-Boy to anyone.

    I bought a La-Z-Boy electric recliner from Recliners Direct in the UK in April 2014. After just 4 months and very little use (it is not used as a main chair) the base became loose causing the chair and footrest to tilt to the right and it had to be repaired under warranty. Four months later the chair and foot rest again tilted to the right. Servico visited and state that the chair cannot be repaired. The retailer (Recliners Direct UK) says it will charge to put the chair right even though it is under warranty. The chair has had little use in a side room. I am a slim female and the only person in the house. I am disabled and have been left to pursue the dealer through the Sale of Goods Act as the recliner a) is not of satisfactory quality b) has not 'lasted a reasonable amount of time.' Be aware that if you buy a La-Z-Boy product you are at the mercy of the retailers only and it appears that the Warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on.

    The first La-Z-Boy furniture we bought was about twenty years ago. We kept it close to ten years, then gave it to my sister and her husband and they still have it. The first set of La-Z-Boy that we bought in the early 90s was more of a tweed type fabric. We had three recliners: two regular and one swivel recliner. Two of the recliners had started rubbing some of that fabric off and it was showing the underside of the fabric. But other than that, it all worked good. The cushions and the backs hadn't lost any of its luster over the ten years so you really couldn't tell that they were that old. Of course the fabric gave it away, the color and the style. And I really hoped that we can get something like that out of our next order.

    Now we had bought some other furniture but we're not happy with it as it didn't hold up. Five, six years, and it was in rough shape so it was time for new furniture. So we bought new La-Z-Boy furniture but the sofa actually came wrong. We bought everything with memory foam in the seats and the sofa came without it. And in a month's time, the sofa looked like it was a couple years old and the seat back cushion was flat. I complained about the seats and told them that they didn't have the memory foam in the sofa.

    So they sent somebody out. When the rep was here, I told him that I was not happy with the back of the sofa either because it had just flattened out too much and was not puffy at all. They brought me the new sofa that has the memory foam in the seat. Their rep called me back the next day and asked me if I'm ordering the same sofa and I said yes. I told him when they make this sofa that I would like them to overstuff the seat backs because I don't want to have to sit there and fluff them up every couple of weeks. I don't feel like when I buy furniture that I should have to mess with it to make it look good especially with the amount of money that we paid for this furniture.

    Then when I was on the phone with La-Z-Boy, they were telling me that there is a video online that shows how to puff it back up. I don't feel like I should have to do that. When we bought it, nobody said that we're gonna have to fluff the seat backs up or they could become flat, so I don't like that. We bought this with the interest-free stuff, so we're gonna be paying on it for a couple years and I was very upset that just a couple of months in, it was already looking old.

    In the store, everybody was very professional and helpful in trying to make sure that we were getting what we wanted. The style we bought is called the James, but I didn't feel like the recliner was big enough for me. So we went with another model recliner but got something that was close to how it looked against the two sofas. We got it in the same fabric and they were real helpful. The gentlemen that came to deliver it were just great. So I can't complain with how the service has been and how everybody has treated me. But we haven't had the furniture long enough to say that it's wonderful. But if I had to base it on the one that went out of here, they wouldn't get good marks because the seat back looked old. But our buying and customer service experience have been really good.

    My grandma purchased a $1500 Luxury Lift Power recline chair. She could have purchased another one much cheaper $500 from a local furniture store, she insisted on buying from LAZBOY because she said they are American built and you can always count on them being there. She enjoyed her chair for 2 years and came the day she had to move into an assisted living home. Somehow the power source was lost during the move and we called LAZBOY.

    According to LAZBOY they no longer make the $60 power source (it has been discontinued and now they can help you by selling you an upgraded power source for $450!!!). I can buy a new chair for that price. I'm really disappointed and now Grandma that is on a fixed budget (SSI) cannot use her chair until she saves up for this expense. Elderly people are on a fixed budget and cannot afford to be taken advantage of by a large company. $60 original VS $450 (upgraded part is just ridiculous). Buyer beware.

    We got our La-Z-Boy in November last year because we just moved down here and have an empty house. We were selective in the furniture we moved down here because it was a dollar and fifty cents a pound for everything we moved down here. Our sales associate, Josh, was exceptional. But the delivery was a disaster.

    We ordered a 5-piece sectional and I needed to have it by a certain date. The store told us they would be able to do that. But there were no guarantees because it's a specialty item. When the items were fabricated in the factory, for some unknown reason, four of the five pieces were made but the fifth piece, which was a chase, was not available and so it wasn't manufactured. So, four of the five pieces was shipped from the factory to the warehouse. We sat in the warehouse waiting for the additional piece. They didn't know when that was going to be manufactured so they couldn't tell us how long we would have to wait. So, we went ahead and told them go ahead and ship it, deliver the four pieces that are in the warehouse and we'll wait for the fifth one.

    However, they told me it would be an additional delivery charge of $65 for that one piece because I'm having it shipped as a partial shipment. We paid a delivery charge for five pieces even though we only got four. And then we paid another delivery charge for one piece which I decided was worth having a piece. Our daughter was coming back from the hospital from surgery and she needed the sofa to sit at. We figured it was worth it. But when they delivered the fifth piece, it was damaged. The fifth piece had to be returned two times to be repaired. And the third time when they delivered it, it was soiled.

    Rather than returning it the third time, and I had the same delivery crew all three times, I said no when they were going to take it back since we took the five year warranty of the fabric finished for cleaning it and any stains that couldn't be removed, they would replace it. I can't understand how one piece of damaged furniture that was delivered from the warehouse, which is supposed to be inspected before it goes on the truck, came to our residence. The driver didn't inspect it. They drove the truck and off load it. I saw how careful they were with the furniture when they delivered it. As a matter of fact, I called the store and told them how confident the delivery service was.

    I talked to the salesman at the gallery. I've talked to the two owners who have been owners of the La-Z-Boy gallery in Wilmington for over 30 years and they are beside themselves. Will this prevent me from buying furniture from you people again? Absolutely not. We're gonna buy more furniture, but I just hope that somebody fixes what happened to us so it doesn't happen to somebody else. Because the piece that we ordered in November just got delivered last week. Accidents happen, but this demonstrates either that there's a problem in terms of diligence or somebody's not doing their job, or a combination of all the above.

    My wife loves the furniture because it fits in the room perfectly. It looks great in the room and it's comfortable. The difficulty that we experienced, I'm hoping this is a once in a lifetime thing. And I'm certain the owner of the store, the next time we come in, is gonna try to make certain that if there's anything wrong with that piece of furniture don't put it on the truck and don't deliver it.

    Very Disappointed. Not the quality we expected for the price nor the quality we expected from La-Z-Boy. The color on the headrest of the sofa is coming off. This is real leather - Not bonded leather. We are now at the mercy of the warranty company as to whether or not this problem will be rectified. Was it a waste of money to purchase the leather protection plan for $150 (plus $110 for the matching chair). We are seniors with no children at home to abuse the furniture.

    I purchased 2 matching Colton Reclina - Rockers in Feb - 2014. The sales experience was very nice. Margret was very helpful, unfortunately the happiness ended with writing the check. The problems started weeks after taking delivery. The Renew fabric is NOT durable as claimed (See Pix 1-3, 1-4) Chair 1 has had 3 leg rests replaced followed by the entire chair being replaced for excessive and accelerated wear by July 2014. Then in Sept 2014 after 6 weeks the replacement chair broke (see pix 1-1, 1-2) La-Z-Boy service is very slow taking weeks to resolve the issues each time.

    Chair 2 has been better, however for in Feb 2015 at 1st anniversary the foot rest mechanism broke (pix chair 2). La-Z-Boy said they will waive labor as it is 2 days past the 1 year warranty, how gracious. I contend it shouldn't have broken in the 1st place. The failed piece appears to be the same plastic nut as in Chair 1. At this point I have severe buyer's remorse, I expected the chairs to provide years of faithful service, not months. I realize they will require replacement years sooner than expected.

    Frankly I wish I could just get my money back to purchase a pair of quality chairs as I intended to do originally. But I realize that is about as likely as a quality La-Z-Boy chair (which is not realistic). I have come to accept I have been duped and swindled by a company who rests on a past reputation of quality who cheapen out the product. Plastic Nuts really... Buyers beware.

    We just bought our fourth set of La-Z-Boy furniture because we purchased another house here in Mesquite. We're very pleased with Elaine, our interior designer with La-Z-Boy. She knew her product line, was very friendly and she listened to what we wanted. Also the store rep Mikaela kept calling to let us know the status of the items and what items were coming. She had a really great idea that we would change the mechanism handles on the side of our two rocker recliners and the bases on one of them because we wanted to be able to pivot. She also said we had to go and choose the darker color on all of that to match the tables that we also bought from La-Z-Boy and that was just wonderful. She's an excellent employee and she got ahold of Elaine to tell her about that idea. So they came up with that together and they called us and asked us what we thought about it and we said that's taking the extra step.

    We also bought a big area rug but that has turned out to be very unsatisfactory so we're sending it back. My wife talked to the store manager the other day and she told me about a week ago that she's going to call me back. Apparently the manager has to send in a request to the quality people and they need to go back to the company about our return. We had the rug for less than three weeks and my wife noticed that the binding is very loosely put on the rug and then the binding started coming apart. It wasn't even three weeks old yet. She took it backwards, took a picture and forwarded it to the store manager and my wife said there's no way that that should come out of there.

    Elaine said that it was a brand new company that they were starting to work with. We're now waiting for Debbie to call us back to find out when they're going to take that up because we don't want the same rug again. We want a rug that will last longer than three weeks. We will be leaving in April so we don't have time to be messing around with ordering the other rug. So we just told her we don't want the rug and the pad. We had to pay a special delivery again because the rug wasn't in stock when they made the delivery of the other furniture. We had to pay another delivery fee again, $200, for a rug that wasn't very good. I said we wanted back the money for the rug, the pad and the delivery fee because I said it's not up to La-Z-Boy standards and quality.

    So Debbie has been very nice. As a matter of fact, my wife texted her and she said she may even have an email back today. They only deliver to Mesquite once a week, even once a month. My wife said we're going back pretty soon so we want to get this resolved before we go. So she said "I have a pick-up truck. If I have to, I'll come pick it up with my own pick-up truck." My wife thought that was very nice. We're trying to get that resolved because the rug definitely is not up to La-Z-Boy's standards and if it's a new line we don't know whether La-Z-Boy should continue working with them. But everything else is wonderful. And the delivery crew are really good, too. So I'd recommend the La-Z-Boy product line a lot.

    My $5200 sectional is less than 2 years old. I have 1 chair with leather peeling at the seams and a piece of metal poking through the back. Another chair has a large area that looks like a weak spot on the leather on the seat. At the salesman's persistence, I spent $600 on an extended service plan and over $300 on a leather WARRANTY. He said it covers everything - cuts, holes, scrapes, etc. Well worth the money. But guess what?? None of MY issues are covered past 1 year. The leather is expected to peel at the seams after a year I was told. We are a family of 4 with no small children. This couch doesn't take a beating. I am in the middle of trying to get some help on this from customer service. I WILL report back here and let you know if you should purchase furniture from La-Z-Boy in the future.

    Updated on 06/25/2015: I am following from my 2/24/15 review to let you know if La-Z-Boy was willing to take care of my leather sectional with severe peeling after 2 years. Their answer was they would pay 1/2 of the charges of a new pad for the chair. I would owe nearly $500 due to labor. I could buy almost whole new chair for this. I have attached pictures of what your furniture with fabric protection and an extended warranty will do after being 2 years old. There is more but I didn't want to be repetitive. If you like wasting money buy from La-Z-Boy. My leather sofa that is 20 years old is still in much better shape than this. DO NOT BUY FROM LA-Z-BOY!! I have never been so upset with a company that I thought was high quality. I wish I had read reviews ahead of time.

It kept moving farther and farther out, so I clipped it off. I thought it was just a fluke. Then through the next year, it happened several more times, but in different locations. I noticed the cording developing crinks and you could tell it was broken inside the fabric cover. One piece came through, and I pulled it out - an 11 inch piece of the cording. I called Customer Care and was told it would cost $160 for a tech to come to my house - that is criminal. I asked if I could take the cushions to the store where I purchased it & was told no.

    I was instructed to photograph and send pictures of the fails. Today I received a reply telling me they determined from my pictures that it was not a manufacturing defect. This is ridiculous; I bent the piece I pulled out, and it almost immediately broke. I spent approx. $2,500 for these two pieces; the reply is unacceptable. I live alone, so the furniture does not receive so much use that this should have occurred with 2 years of purchase. I will not purchase a La-Z-Boy product again.

    It was awesome buying a La-Z-Boy furniture -- this is our second one. We have to replace our old set since it had become quite worn and we had it for 10 years. We went to their gallery the week before we needed furniture which we knew was not going to be easy to arrange per what our needs were. Jolly, the sales rep was so attentive to making it work and we were there much longer than we anticipated. We thought we would just do a quick look through and I had to run out to pick up one of our kids from practice. So Jolly said "While you do that, I'll look and see what I can do here." When I got back an hour later, she had a whole other game plan, already researched on as to what we could get for what we needed and we were able to go with that. She was a wonderful person and made the experience awesome.

    The only thing is that we could not choose when it would be delivered. We were given a morning or afternoon time frame but because we both work we didn't know and so we had to take time off to wait for them. We couldn't arrange ahead of time for it to be delivered but we were able to work that out. That worked out fine and it's very good.

    If you want quality, you’re going to have to pay for it. La-Z-Boy furniture is comfortable and beautiful and we love it! I would encourage people to buy La-Z-Boy because the first one we bought (a sofa and loveseat) we've enjoyed and used constantly. The recliners are great too. I'm a short person and it fits me.

    We're not hard to please -- when we see what we like, we don't stickle over the price. On our second purchase, we were looking for leather rather than fabric and they started showing us what they had. We told the sales lady what color we wanted and how we wanted it to feel. We walked around the corner and we saw it. I sat down on it and I said "This is it." Then when they delivered, quality people came and brought it in. They were very cautious. They set it up for us and we thanked them, tipped them, and they left. It's a great experience and if I had to buy again (which I expect I won’t anymore given my age), I'd buy from La-Z-Boy it again.

    I did enter my zip code and they said that the closest store in Gainesville was having website issues, so I clicked on another store. FTR, I was simply looking at end tables. Nothing to do with options or covers. No prices anywhere. You probably were going to get no more than a couple of hundred dollars out of me, so that really is no big deal, but you guys are NUTS to make it so incredibly difficult for a prospective customer to get simple prices. Pull up the Ethan Allen website. They are arguably a step higher than La-Z-Boy on quality with correspondingly higher prices. Nonetheless, they have prices listed on everything. The only thing you do by not having your prices listed on your webpage is to eliminate yourself from the buying equation.

    For anyone thinking about buying Lazyboy furniture for their quality? Please think again. Cheap, over rated, are a few words I can use to describe Lazyboy. I have two recliners, a chair and a chesterfield that are not going to be lasting too long. The chesterfield is 8 months old and uncomfortable already. Cheap foam cushions that I have to rotate weekly and the back foam is just uncomfortable because it is made so cheaply. The chair had repairs done already to a leg that was put together incorrectly at the factory. The leg fell off if you can believe that. The recliners are squeaking, stiff noisy mechanisms and no where the quality they once were. Overall, so disappointed in this furniture.

    I purchased a recliner at your Pensacola, FL store in November 2014. It was delivered to the store 12/24/2014. I returned it 12/27/2014 because it had two problems with the foot rest and the back leaned to the right. Today is 02/21/2015 and the problem has not been resolved. I paid $1,700.00. I have asked for a refund and was told La-Z-Boy will not refund my money until an attempt is made to repair the chair. After all this time I think I deserve my money back. I have also had a problem getting store employees to return my calls and emails. I am a former La-Z-Boy customer but I am very upset with this purchase.

I liked the flower arrangement & the candles, I asked for a gift & the manager said that they do not give gifts, but he said that he can give them to me for 50% off.     My wife and I visited the La-Z-Boy Home Furnishings & Decor store on 1932 Gunbarrel Rd in Chattanooga TN just before Thanksgiving in search of purchasing new furniture for our home. We met with a salesman and looked at several different floor models before he explained about the in-home design assistance. So we scheduled a meeting with the designer for the following week and afterwards returned to the store on December 2, 2014 to review her design and recommendations. We were informed that the store didn't carry inventory and if we chose her design picks (a different color of the same fabric that was shown on the floor model) it would be considered a special order and have to be built. They said that since this was early December and with the holidays coming up it could take up to 6-8 weeks before the order would be ready.

    Since the factory that manufactures the furniture is only 40 miles away, we felt that was a little long for a popular product especially being manufactured so close. The salesman explained that the 6-8 weeks was an estimate and that it typically is closer to the 6 weeks and that mid January they would call to arrange delivery and set-up. So we placed an order for a couch, love seat, chair, two lamps, a table, 2 wall sconces and purchased the Ultra shield fabric protection plan. We were also charged a $100 delivery fee. The $4851.79 charge was paid in full that same day.

    So we waited exactly seven weeks and didn't hear anything from the store the entire time. I called the store on January 20, 2015 to inquire on the status of our order. The initial person I spoke with couldn't tell me anything about my order other than she would have the salesman call me. When he called, he informed me that the lamps, table and wall sconces were in but none of the furniture was ready. He said he did some checking and told me that the factory had a fabric delay and it would be another month before it would be ready. He said he would call to schedule delivery the week of February 16, 2015. He apologized and said that as it was printed on our order form that order time was only an estimate and not a guarantee. That factory delays were beyond his control.

    I wasn't happy, but I had already paid in full and was told that cancellations, exchanges or refunds were not allowed. So I waited almost another month and decided to call on February 13, 2015 to see what day next week I could expect delivery of my order. However, I was told that my order was still not ready and it would not be delivered next week. The person who was telling me this gave me the same explanation that there was a factory delay with my fabric and there was nothing they could do. She did tell me that there was good news, production had started on my furniture and that my order might be ready the week of the 26th. Since the 26th is on a Thursday and most people say the week of using the first day of the week, something wasn't making sense, so I asked to speak with the manager.

    When the manager got on the phone, I explained this entire situation and his response was the same standard answer, it was a special order, there was a factory delay and there was nothing that could be done. He apologized but I did not sense any sincerity in his voice and he even argued with me about stock items, special order items and that there were over 800 different color and fabric combinations. I conveyed to the manager that I was extremely disappointed to have to wait almost a quarter of a year for my order that is manufactured 40 miles away and even more disappointed about the lack of customer service. I explained that I thought it was very poor customer service for me to have to call the store 2 different times to find out about the status of my order and be told there was a delay and that my order was not ready, instead of La-Z-Boy contacting me.

    I waited for the manager to offer some kind of concession for my treatment and inconvenience, but he only kept explaining that factory delays were out of his control. So I brought up the question, that since I paid in full, can't get a refund and have not gotten my order going on almost 3 months, what was he willing to do to make up for the delay and lack of customer service. His response was he could deliver what they already had in the store, would that make me feel better? Of course I told him no, since I had to pay for the delivery in the first place. I wasn't going to pay to have my order delivered twice. I complained that I thought it was ridiculous that i purchase almost $5000 worth of furniture from them and then I have to pay to have it delivered too. He then said he was willing to knock off $50 from the delivery fee and if I would give him my card number (over the phone) he would credit it back.

    I didn't accept that since I was still paying for delivery and i didn't feel like it was any kind of concession. My wife then suggested I ask for a product consideration in lieu of a refund. The designer had suggested as part of her design an oval leather ottoman that we had not chosen because we felt it was too expensive. This product was not a La-Z-Boy product but manufactured by Hammary and sold by La-Z-Boy. So I suggested that in lieu of a refund he add the ottoman to our order as a goodwill gesture for our inconvenience. He immediately said he couldn't just give me the product but he might be able to offer me a discount on it and would call me back to me later in the day. I told him that I might be willing to accept a discount on that product as a concession but would have to see what he was calling a discount.

    As I waited for him to call me back I got online and searched the product and what the retail price was. I found it priced at a local competitors store and several places online for $335. When he called back he explained that La-Z-Boy has it listed for $545 but he could let me have it for $325. When I told him I found it locally and online for $335 and that his offer was not any kind of discount, he then challenged my search and stated that La-Z-Boy gets their product directly from the manufacturer. He repeated there was nothing he could do and that just a soon as he receives the order at his store he will try to get it to me as soon as possible. When asked about assurances this time he stated he hoped it would be ready.

    This is a terrible response from a manager to a customer. I told him if I was the manager, I would rent a truck, drive the 40 miles to the factory and personally deliver the order to me once it was ready. He just laughed. So bottom line, I am not a happy customer and am very close to filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and never do business with La-Z-Boy again. I fully understand factory delays but do not understand nor accept the poor way I have been treated. As a customer, I should not have to call and try to find out where my order is. I should have been contacted by the salesman as soon as he became aware that there was a possible delay that could impact an order for one of his customers. There should never have been a second time for me to have to call or that it still wasn't ready almost 12 weeks after the order was initially placed.

    Even if there was an actual factory delay, the manager should have personally contacted me about that delay and at the very least offered a refund of the delivery fee and possibly a 5% refund of the outstanding order. I question if there even was a delay because the time frames and explanations just don't make sense. I place an order on 12-2-14 and told it typically takes 6-8 weeks to complete an order but 6 weeks is the norm. OK, assuming the extra 2 weeks for a factory delay that would put the completed order and delivery approximately January 27th.

    But when i call on the 20th, I am told my order is not ready and it will be another 4 weeks. Then when I call after that 4 weeks, I am told it will be another 2 weeks. This makes it a total of 6 weeks from the initial estimated completion. Makes me think that the order was not placed or properly placed on December 2, 2014 and was not entered until 1-20-15 when i called to check the status. Purely speculation on my part, but it makes more sense than what I have been told so far from the people at the Chattanooga store.

    Then to add insult to injury, I sent this same communication to the La-Z-Boy Corporate Customer Service and I get a reply back on 2-19-15 saying they are sorry for my experience, but the store I purchased their products from is independently owned and operated and all sales and service issues would be handled directly through them. We chose La-Z-Boy for their product and company reputation. However, if this is how they treat their customers, we won't be doing business with them again.

    I purchased a $2000 Dollar PowerRecliner and received it in April 2014. Last part of Nov and the piece of wood that is used to attach the rocker base to the chair sheard off because it was not put together properly. The dowl pins were not glued and 2 weeks after calling to report the problem I call back because no one called to schedule an appointment to come look at it. Then another weeks goes by before the guys comes out to look at it, then another 2 weeks to get the part and he has trouble getting the back off and notice something else wrong.

    So here I am still waiting for the part and was told it would not ship until 02.24.15 and then I have to schedule the guy to come out and fix it again. I will have been without my $2000 chair for over 3 months and I just paid it off. What I would like is for them to give me my money back and come pick the pos up but probably not going to happen. I can tell you this I will never ever buy another piece of la-Z-Boy furniture ever again even if I have to sit on a wooden box. I would suggest you not either.

    This is the first time I purchased a love seat and couch from La-Z-Boy. I've always had their recliners but haven't had a couch in the last ten years. My family is growing a little bigger so I decided to get us a couch. I also got us a love seat because me and my wife like sitting together. I liked the quality of the couch and love seat but I told my daughter that I like my recliner better than I did this newer stuff. My recliner is probably 15 years old and it's still a good rocker. I wish I'd have had a big enough room to keep it but that's just how it is. The sales representative who helped me in the gallery was a nice girl and the delivery team was great. They weren't here long but I asked them if they could put our other furniture back on the other truck and they said they really aren't supposed to, but they did it so it was great. So I would definitely recommend them to a friend and anybody that wanted to buy a La-Z-Boy furniture.

    Couple of years ago, I finally purchase what I thought was a quality leather couch...a La-Z-Boy! I even purchased the Guardsman extended care warranty thinking that I would be fully protected against whatever could happen. Out of the blue, I noticed the leather on the arm of the couch is peeling. Because the damage wasn't cause by carelessness (pets, pen, burn, nail polish, etc.), the repair is not covered. I went directly to La-Z-Boy only to learn they only stand by their product for a year. The cost to repair this little strip of fabric will be over $500. So I am left with a $1,250 couch I have to cover with a blanket! I have had fabric furniture bought at discount furniture stores last for decades!

    I'm a little dissatisfied with the recliner I bought from La-Z-Boy. I've got one of these big man chairs. It’s the monster chair that fits a big guy and I’m 6’6”, 300 pounds so I guess I qualify. And the thing I've realized after sitting in it for about three months is that the back of it, up around the head and shoulders, sticks out too far and your head is pushed forward. I'm getting neck aches and headaches after around two hours of that. It’s not that anybody’s done wrong. The chair is what it was represented to be. The store handled everything beautifully and there’s no issue there. My wife tried to get me to go back to the store with it. It’s not something I can call a defect but something I didn't realize when I bought it. If nothing else, that might be passed along for future production and maybe someone else would have that same feeling and save another person the grief.

    I purchased two reclining loveseats about two (2) years ago. The cushions are not holding up. I have a 22 year old La-Z-Boy dual reclining couch and recliner that have held up better than this recent set. I'll be submitting a warranty claim. If not honored, I will not purchase La-z-boy again. Lane has increased their cushion warranty to 5 yrs, La-Z-Boy reduced theirs to 3 yrs. What does that tell you?

    I purchased a recliner for my husband, with a lifetime warranty. He had service people out twice, but the problem continued. When he called for a third service, he was told to take a photo. He is 87 and not in good health. We don't have a camera, and I didn't have a cell with a camera. After a while, I personally went to the store and asked for a replacement. Nobody was interested in helping me. Their manager called and said he wouldn't send another repair person out. I told him I wanted a replacement. I went home and saw the issue, went back to the store, but again, nothing. So, it seems that a lifetime warranty is not good if you have service people out twice in the first year. I contacted Los Angeles Consumer Affairs and they got nowhere. I'm very unhappy. I wanted to purchase another rocker recliner for myself, but after this experience, no way!!! Can you help me?

    Purchased leather sofa apx. 5 years ago. The arm seam opened where the 2 pieces were stitched together, then the side seam on one of the cushions opened, then on one of the seats, where the stitching is across opened where the stitching is. The leather was pulled too tight and eventually tore. When the first seam opened I called the gallery and they related it was not covered. Nothing they could do! Sorry! This sofa was over $2,000 plus and I felt I didn't get the service nor the repair that I should have. However, recently I have been looking again at recliner sofas in leather (jace) for $2,330.00, but I'm afraid the quality and service given by La-Z-Boy is not there...

    This is my second time coming to La-Z-Boy furniture in South San Francisco, CA. I bought these recliners on 2/11/2015. The salesmen on the floor always seem to be very helpful and friendly. I got two recliners and one had a cracked remote, being it is powered. I've tried calling and leaving messages for two days and no response. I called this morning and spoke with the girl who's been answering the phone there (Amber) and she was very sorry. She was new and said, "I've left your number with the salesmen 3 times." She told the manager this morning (Paul) and he told her to get my policy number and he would handle it. After I gave it to her, she paused for a moment, and then said, "We'll let you return it." I asked, "Isn't the manager going to speak with me?" She paused again, seemed puzzled and didn't know how to respond. I asked her to have him call me, which he didn't.

    I went down there and saw him and said, "Hi I'm Ted (and my last name)," and he said, "O.K.". I then asked if my name rung a bell and he said, "No". I took him to Amber and then he said, "Oh yes, I was going to call you." I then told him what I've been through and he said, "We'll come pick them up." The sad part about this, my wife and I really love these recliners, but he never even asked how can we fix the problem. Maybe get me a new remote? Nothing! I will never shop La-Z-Boy again!

    My La-Z-Boy experience is awesome and I love it. I needed new furniture so purchased a loveseat, sofa and chair. The manager at La-Z-Boy gallery in Bel Air was awesome because she helped me out to no end, and the salesperson was good. He wasn't pushy at all, and was knowledgeable of everything. He even helped me out trying to fix the color of my matching seats that didn't match right. The delivery team was professional. Everything is great with my La-Z-Boy. The only thing I have an issue with is the sofa and Loveseat. They have these little plastic pieces to where you bring them up, and then bring them down and they don't go down right away. I repaired them twice myself. I'd buy from them again.

    We were moving from a large house to a smaller condominium and so when we sold our house, we got rid of our existing furniture which means we have to buy new furniture for the condominium. It was a very positive experience with La-Z-Boy. We went in, walked around the store with the salesperson and told them what we were looking for, and they brought us over to what they thought was going to meet our needs, and it fit our needs perfectly. So we bought a suite that was on the floor there that worked out pretty well.

    The delivery team was very professional because we live in a condominium, and were on the 4th floor, which means you have to bring the furniture up through an elevator. |The condominium has pretty strict rules about delivering your furniture to the building. For example, they're required to park in the back, not in the front, and they come through on the ground floor. And they have to put pads on the elevator walls, which the condominium provides, and they give you a key that the furniture people could control the elevator so it blocks it out for other people to use, and allows the furniture people to use it.

    They knew exactly how to use that key and they put the pads up like they were asked to. They brought the furniture in and everything that was brought in was extremely well packed and padded. They unpacked everything in the condominium and allowed us to inspect each piece and make sure that everything was undamaged. Then they removed all the packing materials when they left and didn't leave a mess in the quarters or the common areas, or lobbies. The condominium association didn't give us any kind of a problem with the furniture delivery, which they said other companies have given them problems so they were very complimentary of how La-Z-Boy handled it.

    I think the furniture has extremely good quality. It's one of the reasons why we picked it. We wanted a furniture to last in a long time. We don't plan on moving again, and it's our retirement home, so we picked very good quality to ensure that. It's very satisfying and we're very happy. They met our needs exactly as we describe them to them.

    I purchased a La-Z-Boy sofa 3 weeks ago and after 3 days I noticed one side of the sofa was lifting away from the rest of the couch. Called cust svc who sent a tech. He told me that the sofa was severely damaged. I spent 999.00 for the sofa and wanted a replacement since I did not purchase a floor model or damaged piece. He laughed and told me that I had to be kidding and that La-Z-Boy does not replace couches. They only repair them and that I'd be charged a restocking fee. I didn’t take that for an answer and called the corp office. They promised to replace because I told them that I would be filing a complaint with consumer affairs.

    Here it is 2 weeks later. They never replaced it or called to set up a delivery date as they had promised to. I have a little boy who nearly fell through the gap in the couch and they will surely have problems if he does. They do not have any care for their customers. This is my 3rd purchase from them. The other 2 were fine. I am sad to say La-Z-Boy's quality has sadly declined. We saved a long time to purchase this couch and now we don't have one. If you’re looking for quality or a cust svc team with respect, make your purchase somewhere else.

    We moved to a new house and needed a lot more furniture so my mom and I happened to stop in at the La-Z-Boy gallery to look around. The ladies were so wonderful and created a quote for me. We purchased a sofa, recliner and some chairs and once I got all the furniture in, I still had too much room in my room, so I came back. Even though there’s a La-Z-Boy store closer to my home, I drove half hour out of my way to the one where the ladies helped me out because they were so awesome.

    In buying lots of furniture from lots of places, you get to deal with a lot of different service people but by far, La-Z-Boy babied my furniture. It was all wrapped up and sealed. The delivery guys that came in were very nice and had little pieces of protection pieces for my floors. They were awesome and I can’t say enough about them.     We purchased 4 La-Z-Boy recliners on 7-21-2012. The store was in Altamonte Springs Florida. Everything was great until we heard a pop and the leg rest went floppy. Called Customer Service and they came out quickly and fixed this chair. My concern is that I have now heard that Lazy Boy had some production issues at that time. Our warranty will expire on 7-21-2015 and I am very concerned about the other 3 chairs since all 4 were purchased at the same time. We do not abuse our things. We would like to be contacted by someone from Lazy Boy and have some sort of assurance that the other 3 chairs could be inspected to see if they have this defective part. Thanks for your help.

    I bought a leather rocker recliner in November of 2014. Was delivered week later. We have had it three months and where your head rests the color or the tanning on the leather is coming off. I called their warranty dept. They sent a guy out to check it out and he said that he saw this all the time and that it was from the acid on our heads and hair. I waited three weeks to hear from them and no one called, so I called them and they (La-Z-Boy) told me they wouldn't cover it after only three months of use. So I am here telling everyone to stay away from La-Z-Boy product because they will not stand behind them. I will never buy or recommend anyone to go to La-Z-Boy.

    I went to your store in Southcenter Washington on November 15, 2014. I bought a couch for 799.00 and a chair for 821.91. I also paid 199.99 for pro care. The chair started pilling less than 2 months after it was delivered. I called customer care, I sent pictures and I talked to the operations manager(???) **, who told me it was my clothing that was causing the chair to pill. Since I commonly do wear clothing while I sit in my chair, I told him I was not satisfied. I was only told La-Z-Boy did not have to help me because their return policy was 3 days.     Consider this a Complaint to La-Z-Boy in regards to in home repair and service (Jan 30, 2015). This was the 2nd time since they no longer have a warehouse to bring the chair to for repair. Now they use (US-Furniture Repair) to which I schedule an appointment to have my 1997 rocker recliner look out. The springs are breaking off when sitting down along with the rocking springs are also breaking. They wanted a number ID on the chair; I told them I do not see a numbers on my chair. Ask if they would come out and look for it.

    I paid up front the amount (over a 100.00) for them to come out and so they can review and then return after the parts arrived. The repair tech took lots of pictures, he could not find any tags with numbers on my chair, however he said he would go over the paper work and order the parts from 1997 information they had. Tech said I should be expecting the parts to arrive in about two weeks. I waiting two weeks and heard absolute nothing from them, nothing such as they order the parts or there is an issue of any kind.

    Once I called them I got a ticket # ** over the phone. They told me that because I do not have any ID number for them to order the parts, they canceled the order of what the tech had order and never told me of this. If I never called them back they would have just kept the service money I paid and I would have lost over 100 dollars for just the tech coming out and taking pictures of my chair. I am so upset with this service and wanted to warn all La-Z-Boys owners in Sacramento California of the kind of service they have.

    They have all my repairs on file from over the years I been deal with La-Z-Boy repairing my 1997 chair. They are not even willing to work with me on finding the correct parts to order for me. This is a unique chair that has pockets deep built in both arms of the chair. Not once had they said they are sorry nor did they seem interested in making the wrong right, so I ask for my money back. They told me after speaking with a manager they would. Warning (US-Furniture Repair) is the service La-Z-Boy now uses and they will take advantage of you if you do not followed up on the repair.

    I recently purchased a power recliner from La-Z-Boy. I'm having problems with my knees. I've had both knees operated on and I have lipedema in the legs, and I have to use compression. I had a chair with the ottoman but this one is much easier because I put them on and I can go back and raise my legs so it has worked out. It's just a little hard getting used to because you're used to a chair, like a pair of shoes you have to get used to, but it's working out.

    The sales representative at the gallery was excellent. Maryann was very nice. I sat on the chair and she was very patient. We spent quite a bit of time because I had no idea how much it would cost because I bought my old La-Z-Boy chair 15 to 20 years ago. This new one has a lot more to it. My old chair was just a recliner so this is better. The delivery team was very good. They were in and out and knew what they were doing. However, they didn't send what they called the napkin. It was the wrong color and they said it would take about 6 weeks. They took the one that was the wrong color and brought me the other one. My son happened to be here so they explained the process to him, and I did get it insured or covered for 5 years on everything. So my experience with them was excellent...

    I bought a recliner from La-Z Boy 12 years ago so I thought it's time to buy a new one. I purchased a multiple power recliner very similar to the older one it but it was manual. I like it though I'm still having a hard time transitioning to this new one because I got used to the old one and the new recliner is so fluffy. It's firm in places that aren't firm anymore in the other one. The sales representative made the transaction easy and the delivery was fine. They got the recliner here very nice and they were in and out in a heartbeat.

    Brought a leather Jasper recliner and guardsman policy in 7/12/2014 from your Clearwater store. Informed sales man I needed a sturdy chair because I had dialysis 3 times a week and need to rest afterwards. Well by December 2014. I called because the seat was sagging and the back needed re stuffing. I was told by service department to file a claim with Guardsman. Jan/21015 it was denied and told to speak to La-Z-Boy. Feb 2015 they sent a service man out and was told it was normal wear and tear, but I needed a new seat and re stuffing. Also the tags were missing from the chair and we did not remove them. Told by Louis at the Lakeland repair center that I would have to find someone to repair it. It is ridiculous that a $900 chair would last only 5 months. It's enough to suffer in dialysis and now my back is suffering.

    My overall experience with La-Z-Boy was average. I appreciated the help of my sales consultant, but then the couch that we ordered was multiple pieces and back ordered. There's definitely a miscommunication about that. I was made to believe that the whole couch would be ready and get here in a nice piece, but then one of the pieces fell. So they sent part of it without the final piece. I had to wait for the final piece until Tuesday. I was a little frustrated with it taking so long - 6 weeks since the time I ordered it until I got the final piece.     After all the kids moved out we decided to splurge and buy our "last sofa and love seat". We were wrong. Spent well over $4,000.00 in 2011. We started having problems within a yr., slight peeling. Called the extended warranty co. Not covered. After multiple attempts to resolve it and even 2 trips to the showroom along with "missed" or ignored e-mails. We give.

    Bottom line, the leather is not covered after one year. For anything. We were accused of improper care and handling of the leather. As I told them we own a 2003 Ford Explorer w immaculate leather interior. We know how to care for leather. We will have to purchase a new sofa and love seat but will NEVER enter another La Z Boy showroom. If a "high quality leather" product cannot even make it to the 4 yr. mark I would certainly attempt to find out what happened, send a tech out... None of which they did. Avoid their leather furniture at all cost.

    La-Z-Boy is the only one that's reclining so we went right to the shop. We needed new furniture; and previously before, we had done changes in our house, we had a sectional that had a recliner. But then when we changed our house, we went for a different look only then I realized I missed the recliner. It's actually a sitting position that helps me for medical reasons. It didn't feel necessary at that time to actually use that incline. So we replaced it with a La-Z-Boy and we love the quality of the furniture we received. The scheduling of our delivery was done over the phone since we are an hour away. The delivery was excellent and I like the tracking. It was accurate.     We purchased a La-Z-Boy couch, just a little over 3 months ago. Quality control?? Sadly to say, the quality is unacceptable. The arms started to collapse and the fabric began stretching. The technician came out, took his pictures, wrote/sent in his report. I contacted La-Z-Boy on a regular basis to inquire about status of the tech's report... No one from the office followed through with the "getting back to me" phone call. When I finally called LB, the decision was already made, unbeknownst to me. Of course, LB ordered the material needed... It will take about 3 weeks to receive the material at My home, and then a couple of weeks or so for the tech to fix the problem.

    I am extremely upset as a dissatisfied customer. Did you know that LB (in my area) needs to do the repairs in your home? No one told me at the time of purchased. It didn't matter what I said. The Supervisor (at Corporate in Michigan) had her scripted, placated, firm speech. Rude and Not Customer Friendly, at all. She did ask me what I wanted to do. I asked for a store credit. NO! I can't get a new couch as it is discontinued. LB has lost me as a customer, along with others. I will be contacting the BBB. Customer service/satisfaction should be FIRST!!! POOR, RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE and LACK OF RESPECT!!!

    I bought a sectional from La-Z-Boy. The sales rep was excellent, one of the best, but scheduling the delivery was terrible. They kept having trouble because of snow, but when they said it was going to be in the store in Friday, then they call you Friday afternoon to tell you it's not going to be there. I picked it up and it was missing the plug for the electric one. I still don't have the power cord for the electric one and the internal brakes in the electric one were broken. There's some minor dent on the console. I'm still waiting for the plug so I can use the electric one. They promised to send me one. But it still hasn't come. The fact that I still don't have the power cord is ticking off, and the fact that the chair is broken is not a happy thing either.
