I love my La-Z-Boy. We bought two of them, and the reason we got them is because I had lung surgery. I've been home from the hospital a few days and it is my all-around sleeping, sitting, helping-me-heal chair. I would recommend them.

Purchased $5000 leather sofa sleeper, arrived defective. You sink into hole at the lower back. Cushion stick out 2 inches. Sleeper is too low when packed into sofa. No customer service. Sales agent keeps giving us a number where no one returns our call. Totally dissatisfied.

We wanted a good sturdy recliner for our family room that could handle being opened and closed all the time as well as toddler-proof since we have a 6-year old and a 3-year old. We already had one at home but this is our first La-Z-Boy purchase. The sales representative gave us a bunch of information about different types of chairs and material options. I appreciate that he pulled out different samples of the ones we had seen online so that we could see it in person. We ended up going with leather and so far we have no problems with the one that we have.
The delivery team and the warehouse people that I talked to were great. The only thing I wasn't happy about is that it took 3 deliveries before I got a chair that didn't have a problem. The guy at the store had said, "Make sure you look over the entire chair really well." So I did and found the first one was sliced with a box cutter down near the bottom. The second one came and the leather had holes that were rubbed through the leather from unpacking it either at the warehouse or the guys in the truck. The guy at the warehouse whom I talked to apologized profusely, "I'm so sorry. I've never had this happen before." They were very good in the sense that they tried to make me happy.

I have had La-Z-Boy furniture in my home for about 10 years now, and I recently purchased again from them two lounge chairs and two rockers. The sales rep we dealt with was helpful and she knew a lot and the quality of the furniture is good.

I purchased two mechanical sofas in March for my husband. Due to his injuries we thought the mechanics would help him be a little more independent. So off to La-Z-Boy we went. We heard that they were good company and stood behind their products and my husband researched and decided they would be the best to purchase from. I purchased the extended warranty to ensure we had coverage on these two couches.
First of all, the right side of the couch back started leaning. We called for service and the guy came out and said it was the mechanism. He ordered it. Waited 3-4 weeks and then another couple weeks for it to be installed. This time while installing the mechanism, my husband noticed the wood was split. This guy ordered a whole new back and another mechanism for both sides of the couch. We waited about 6-8 weeks for the parts to arrive and another two weeks for them to be installed. They were installed on 8/6. The backs are starting to lean back as before, so we are going to call again for the issue.
I called and complained to the service line. I was told they would give me my $200 for delivery back. I told them no, I want a new couch. I didn't pay this much money for the couch to have to be repaired in less than six months. They escalated my call to Debbie at ** who told me to stop using this couch and to use the other couch. I asked what if I had only purchased one what would I be told to do. My husband has had several surgeries over the last year and I explained that he is comfortable sleeping on the couch some nights. Debbie then told me we should not sleep on the couch, that causes damage. My husband is unable to twist or turn due to a crushed arm. Once he is in a spot he does not move. To have someone tell me it is our fault for wood splitting and the mechanisms going bad is really unbelievable.
I purchased brand new couches in 2001, when I purchased my new home. Those couches went through three teenage boys and their friends all who played sports. These boys were not small by any means and they were not gentle, they were boys. Those couches lasted me and were in good shape (I gave them away). I replaced them with these new couches. It is now only my husband and myself and I don't understand why I am having to have these repaired and they are less than six months. I am afraid to sit on the other one, afraid of what it might do. I am very unsatisfied with this entire process and wish someone who cared would call me to discuss. I did not ask for my money back, I asked for a new couch for the one that has been repaired.

I've had so many things that were cloth and different fabrics, and I wanted to try some leather because leather's so popular right now. A friend of mine got a beautiful set at La-Z-Boy. My husband and I talked about it and we went over the store and saw the sales person that we've dealt with for many years, and purchased a sofa and a power chair. Tomorrow they're going to bring the chair. I've recommended La-Z-Boy to a lot of people. They stand behind their product. I bought a lift chair for my husband and I've never had a problem with someone that came in. They put it in, put the batteries in, checked everything out before they left and let me look over the furniture. I don't think I would deal with anybody else.

Within the 1st year, the back cushions separated leaving a 4 inch gap between them. Then the footrest started dropping, spring came loose in the back & coming through fabric in the front. After 2 repairs & it still not fixed, they will have to take the recliner into the shop, no idea on how long repair will take. Repairman who came out both times said the chair wasn't made right.

We're having a baby and we were looking for a baby glider rocker. We saw one from La-Z-Boy that was really comfortable and the quality is great. We dealt with the same guy for everything and he was really great through the whole process, so it was easy. We would recommend La-Z-Boy.

Purchased a recliner on 5/21/15. Delivered 6/16/15. By 7/28/15, noticed a distinct wobble in the left arm. It became more pronounced. As I was getting out of the chair, I heard a tearing sound. The fabric tore from the bottom of the left arm upward. I called Customer Service. On 8/11/15 a tech came out and took some pictures. He said that the chair could be fixed by replacing the entire arm. He also said that it would take 6-8 weeks. I am disabled with Lymphedema. I depend on my recliner to get my legs elevated. I also sleep in the chair all the time as I am no longer capable of sleeping in bed. Try going without your bed for 6-8 weeks!
The Representatives told me that if the technician says the chair is repairable, it will be returned to factory specifications. Isn't this a lot like telling someone that if you do the same thing over and over again, you will get a different result? Fortunately, I kept the old recliner that this chair was going to replace. I have had to put it back into operation while waiting for a decision concerning this chair. I want a replacement chair of a different design.

After several years of purchasing low-cost furniture and lasting three years we decided to go big and get La-Z-Boy furniture and spend over 3K first time leather and purchase a 5 year warranty covers everything so they say. They arrive and look great, feel great. 3 months later the recliner switch breaks. We call and they come order the part and weeks later the part arrives and we schedule the install no problem. One day the wife looks at one end of the sofa and there is spots on the hand arm rest and some on the front. We call them right away and we are asked to send photos. We did that. They LB determined that it is not a defect in the leather and they only warranty it for one year. And so we call the extended warranty company called Ultra Shield. They come out and they take more pictures.
The tech tells the wife that it's a defect in the leather. He also tells my wife it's fixable but needs to get approval and send in pictures. After some time they determined that it is also not covered under their warranty because we did not specify what caused these small spots. I call La-Z-Boy and tried to explain that they are saying it's a defect in the leather. They plainly told me that their warranty has expired and their experts have determined that the leather is not defect in the leather. Who is right? La-Z-Boy tells me since I was not specific on what caused these spots Ultra Shield will not fix them. I trusted La-Z-Boy and their product - no more.

A couple of things made me buy a La-Z-Boy power recliner a year ago. I had put my retirement in around that time period and been told I needed to have two new hips. With that type of surgery, you need to elevate your legs and I didn't have anything like that. I'm short legged so there were issues trying to find a chair that would fit but the one I got was good. Overall, I'm happy with it.

I purchased a La-Z Boy sofa from Rooms To Go in April 2013. My sofa broke 1 month after the warranty. The store me to contact Furniture Services that repair the furniture. I have called for months my sofa is not repaired. I started this process in March 2015. The first service man came out and said all of the mechanism were broken in the sofa and have to be replace. He did not take any numbers of the sofa for it to be repaired. I found the numbers and called it in the first of May. The parts are still not in. I do not receive a call back to let me know the status of the sofa. I bought a La-Z-Boy because I thought they had a great warranty. I have been so disappointed with the sofa and customer is terrible. I feel I should be compensated in some way. I am not satisfied with the way this was handled.

La-Z-Boy chairs are excellent and the quality is tops. But the more expensive chairs we got are not as comfortable as the cheaper ones. All their personnel were excellent. They really gave us a great service without being too pushy and gave us plenty of time. The problem I had was they were pushing the treatment for the chairs, which I found a little bit weird. It was like a mystery, that was like buying extra time on a car warranty for a new car. Another problem was about moving the furniture. We were told that they would move furniture but when the delivery guys came in, we found out that they'll only move the La-Z-Boy furniture and there was an extra charge for moving other furniture. That was a surprise. But overall, I would recommend them.

I special ordered a sofa from La-Z-Boy Furniture which took about 2 months from the date of order to delivery. The day of delivery, the sofa arrived and 1 of the 3 throw pillows was missing with the order. The driver immediately made note of it and notified Customer Care. I also notified Customer Care later that afternoon. I was informed that the warehouse would like 24 hours to search for the pillow. If they couldn't find it, they would get me another pillow. After a week, I called to find out what was going on since I had heard nothing and still no pillow. The girl in Customer Care took a good 10 minutes to find my order and then told me that a new pillow had been ordered and it would be ready for delivery August 19th to be ship by UPS/FEDEX. This is over a month for a pillow!!! I asked if it could be expedited since it was their mistake and was told NO, the orders are done in the order that they are received and that was it.
I then called the store I bought it from and spoke with one of the managers who thought it was ridiculous. He told me that he would contact the warehouse and his regional manager to see about getting the pillow sooner and then let me know the following Monday. I didn't receive a call on Monday and called the store again on Tuesday. The manager was out. End result when I did get in touch with the manager was he was clueless as to expediting the pillow and couldn't do a thing about it. I called Customer Care again and spoke to another girl who did put in a request to expedite the pillow and was to be watching it. It is now August 12th and NO PILLOW! Completely disgusted with total lack of regard!

I have had La-Z-Boy furniture in the past and they have always last a long time so when I was purchasing a couch for my basement this is the brand I wanted. Well it has been three years now and the couch looks like crap. On one of the recliners' ends where my family sits it is all worn out already. I paid almost 1200 for this and it should last longer than that. There has to some sort of defect with this model of couch but no one is willing to help. I bought the protection plan but they are saying normal wear and tear. Seriously how is this normal?
Updated 10/9/2015 - I originally posted a complaint on 8/12/15 about my couch that looks like crap. The company did respond to me and sent a request to the place where I purchased the couch. But basically I was screwed because La-Z-Boy only expects their products to last a year, I guess, so it was up to me to pay for their defect. Never again!

We shopped around a lot before we bought a couch and recliner. We were going to buy Ekornes recliners again because we have loved them in the past, but we wanted a double this time so we could sit together. We visited at least 5 furniture stores before we ended up at a La-Z-Boy. The sales people were really great. They helped me to pick out a couch at a reasonable price, and a double recliner. My husband sat in the recliner in the store for probably an hour while I shopped and he was comfortable. Now the one in the store was leather - just to be fair. We didn't buy leather.
We were told: 1. The recliner we bought would feel like the one in the store if we paid for memory foam. 2. The fabric (which didn't look very sturdy to me) would repel all stains and La-Z-boy would come out and clean any stain that got through. We bought a couch and a double recliner. Total purchase was $2467. We also purchased the 5-year warranty that was supposed to cover everything.
We were so excited because we figured that this was probably the last furniture purchase in our lifetimes and we would be able to enjoy these products for the rest of our lives because they are La-Z! We made the purchase on 12-27-14. They arrived on 3-24-15. A bit long, but worth it, right? We love the couch. It is great. The double recliner came in with black stains all over it from the transportation. The very first thing we got was an argument. There can't be stains because there is nothing in our truck to cause stains. Ok, well, you just set that recliner there and there are stains all over it. Where did they come from? Then they said, "No problem, we will have the insurance guy come right out."
The insurance guy did come out and he was great. They replaced one whole arm and seat. By the time (8 weeks) that the new arm and seat arrived the other seat had actually collapsed in on itself. Meanwhile, my husband sat in the recliner and something came off from his pants onto the seat. So I contacted the insurance people. They sent out a cleaning kit and a 5-page form to fill out. The cleaning kit did nothing and I refused to sit around filling out more forms.
So, they came out and picked up the whole recliner to go fix it. 8-10 more weeks later, it is July and we bought the recliner so my husband who, was going to have surgery in July, would have a comfortable place to recover. 1 months should be long enough, right? No. We went to surgery with no recliner. I called the main office and told them that I was frustrated and really didn't want the recliner any more. They could just keep it. They basically said, "You bought it, you own it." We filling got the recliner back. The insurance guy came out to replace the seat and said that if I have more trouble I should call the main office since I had contacted them any way.
We have had to keep the recliner covered with quilts all the time because it stains so easily. The back on my husband's side has now compressed in on itself and the headrests look like old pillows that have been scrunched up too many times. Do I want to call either the insurance guy or the main office? No, thank you. It is a piece of junk. We would have been better off spending $300 on a cheap recliner. At least we would know what to expect. I want my money back. Does any one at La-Z-boy care? No. My conclusion? Don't spend your money! Go buy something cheap that you can replace in 2 years.

Last year I wrote a review about the fake leather reclining sofa and loveseat that was 2 years old - how the fabric is flaking off. After several back and forth emails La-Z-Boy did let me purchase the 4 pieces, 2 backs and 2 seats, at a lower price and the store, Miller's furniture, was great and attached the pieces for free. But now I have 2 more pieces of the products doing the same thing and would like to replace but when the store called La-Z-Boy they offered to get me the pieces at full price, after spending more than we would normally for these when we bought new than having to pay for the replacements parts last year. I feel I should get the 2 replacement pieces for the same price I paid last year. The time spent to try to fix this problem has been very frustrating and disappointing.

I noticed about 6 days later that cushions were flat. I could feel the wood and the wire when sitting. Called an tech. Found it was a comfort issue so case was closed. Called care service and was told they will review, wait on decision. I thought comfort was what they are all about. I have to sit on a pillow. COMFORT, I do not have it.

I was replacing old, crummy furniture so I bought loveseat, chairs, and tables from La-Z-Boy. I had a nice conversation with the sales representative. Afterwards, he turned me over to a designer and then everything I did was through Kelly, the designer. She was excellent, very accommodating. She listened to what I wanted, what I could live with, and what I thought would be just too much of a stretch for my taste. The furniture are really nice stuff - well sewn, cushions are good, and everything came wrapped beautifully so you didn't have to worry. The delivery men were good as well.
I do have a caveat about the shipping, though. I don't want to take away from the excellent experience I had with Kelly and my pleasure with my product, but I still am missing one piece. I'm told it will be four to five months that I'd be waiting for this one piece. Also, I fully expected the six to eight weeks to make my product, which is a special order. I didn't expect however that it's going to take another three to four weeks for me to get a delivery date on the furniture. I do a lot of process work and to me, it's a poorly-designed process. I expressed my disappointment in it. They managed to get it to me eight days later on the day of my choice but had I not expressed my displeasure, I don't know if that would have happened.

In May 2010, I ordered a reclining sectional which cost $6,000. I received the recliner the last week of July. In early October the seats on the two recliners started ripping near the seams. I called and had to wait six weeks for replacement parts. Seats were replaced in mid-December 2014. By April 2015 both seats were again unravelling at the seams. When the technician came out, he said it was not the seams but the material that was coming undone. La-Z-Boy refused to replace with a different material but instead shipped out new parts. After waiting another six weeks I received the incorrect parts. A new order was placed and again, I received the wrong part. I asked for a rush replacement and was told I have to wait the six weeks.

I went to La-Z-Boy to order a custom chair - basically, a standard chair with one of the expensive fabrics that they have in the store, but don't typically use. After paying for the order, I found out that it would take 6-8 weeks to have the furniture delivered. I was going to cancel, but garnered a lot of support from friends to choose this fabric/chair combinations (my Facebook friends voted on the chairs that I would purchase for the den in my new home). After waiting six long weeks, I decided to check on the order - maybe it would be ready on the early end of the spectrum. When I called, the store associate told me that it would take 6-8 weeks for my chairs to arrive. No, I didn't place my order today, I made it six weeks ago... After checking, she said, "Yes, it would be ANOTHER 6-8 weeks" (on top of my original 6-8 weeks) -- a total of FOUR MONTHS to wait for the furniture. Oh, and this is "just an estimate, it could take longer."
I couldn't believe it, so I asked to have someone else check. The other person confirmed that it would take lots more time and they didn't know the reason and they would send an email to check and that might take another few days to find out. It turns out my fabric wasn't available and they still haven't received it (at the 6 week mark). Unfortunately, they have no way to cancel the order - despite the custom order not even being anywhere near ready or even started - and will not provide a refund.
This is completely unacceptable. Consumers should not have to wait FOUR MONTHS (or longer) -- or even two months -- for "made in America" furniture. I still want a refund. I believe that La-Z-Boy needs to update their custom order policies and add an amendment about cancellations allowed if their furniture is unable to be delivered (or even built) in an acceptable amount of time (8 weeks or less). La-Z-Boy customer service was unfriendly, unhelpful, and unwilling to make their customers happy.

I had furniture pieces that were falling apart, so I looked around a lot of places and La-Z-Boy was what I liked the best. The sales rep we dealt with was very helpful and gave us the option of having someone come out to measure, take a look, and advice us when he knew we were looking for a whole roomful. Having that interior decorator of some sort was a big plus for us. We purchased a sofa, loveseat, recliners and some accessories, and the quality is perfect. I would recommend La-Z-Boy.

We bought a new house and had a room that had nothing in it, so we decided to purchase new furniture from La-Z-Boy. The chairs and accessories I bought from La-Z-Boy were of good quality, and the cost was right on. Their customer sales reps were always very helpful and informative, and they’d take the time to look up information for me. Somebody from the delivery team would always come in to see where my purchase was going and then come up with a plan of what will be the best entrance to use based on the size of the furniture during delivery. They were friendly and careful too. I’d recommend them.

I purchased a recliner from La-Z-Boy and I like it. The delivery team did a good job and set it up. I also had one of my La-Z-Boys repaired because the spring was broken and the guy came and put a new spring and fixed it up. Very good experience. I have had La-Z-Boy furniture in our home for thirty years, and I would recommend them.

I purchased a La-Z-Boy leather executive desk chair. It looks wonderful and is comfortable but the darn thing keeps sinking down and won't stay at the height I have selected. The chair was purchased from Staples but it is a La-Z-Boy product.

My husband and I bought a leather sectional (Devon) and plus a chair and tables in 2010. About a year ago or so we noticed a small peeling of the leather under the left arm on the two piece part as well as the leather between the seats on this sofa piece. After calling several leather repair folks, I found out that it cannot be repaired because the "leather" isn't actually leather. I received no help from the local store or a Cara in Consumer Services. Apparently, the LZB warranty on the leather is only for a year. I am unable to replace this portion because they no longer make this leather.
I just want someone at La-Z-Boy higher up on the food chain to be aware there is a problem with quality. My previous leather couches lasted 17 yrs. and I only sold them to a neighbor because I wanted to change the decor. The rest of my sectional is in perfect shape. I now have to donate this sectional to charity and it is only 5 yrs. old. Arrrrggghhh!

We got a new house so we decided to buy recliners and tables. My husband wants coziness and he wants to come home and feel like he's sitting down in his own throne being hugged. We went to La-Z-Boy because we always said that people go to them when they want to relax and feel comfortable. The sales rep we talked to was very professional, helpful, informative and patient. The delivery went well and the guys put everything together and placed the recliners exactly where I wanted them. We only received the recliners and on Friday we're getting the tables.

First, I'd like to say that La-Z-Boy came highly recommended after we had our previous furniture for approx. 9 years. I purchased a couch and accent chair. The couch is perfect and comfortable. The chair is where the problem begins. I noticed issues immediately on the arrival of the chair regarding the fabric. I asked the gentleman to take it back or make a record of my complaint. He replied that he was only a delivery service and to call the 800 number provided. I did so immediately. Staples were protruding from the arms, as well as fabric bunched and pulling from sides. To shorten this whole episode, I have tried 3 times for them to correct this and their reply is that it's the normal nature of the fabric! It is nothing like the couch, which as I said was perfect. I have contacted their CS and moved up the ladder, but they will not exchange or refund! HELP.

We purchased two other La-Z-Boy chairs about a year ago, and we didn’t like them. We couldn’t get them fixed to where we did like them, so we went on and bought two more and kept the old two sittings in the garage. Recently, we also purchased some recliners and a sleeper’s sofa, and so far the quality is okay except that the footrest is off angle when you put the feet up on one of the chairs.

We've had La-Z-Boy furniture in our home for over 30 years. But when we bought a new home, we needed new furniture so we recently got a power recliner, love chair and some accessories from La-Z-Boy. The sales person at the gallery was very nice, he greeted me right away. Later on, their sales associate called, set up the time for delivery and then their delivery team was here. The team was fantastic, very cordial, and knew what they were doing. As of now, the furniture are proving to be of wonderful quality.

Power recliner purchased and foot rest broke after six months. Called for repair May 1, 2015. Technician came May 14 and indicated the part would have to be ordered and should take 2-6 weeks. After numerous calls - to salesperson, store manager and customer service, I found their attitude very unsympathetic. After waiting several weeks, I asked for either a refund or new chair and was told that wasn't possible. I also asked for a warranty extension since repair was taking so long and was told that was not their policy.
Finally on July 26 I received a call. The part was in but no one could come to repair the chair until today, August 6. This process has taken far too long but there seems to be no hierarchy to put pressure on anyone to get the job done. This whole process has left a bad taste in my mouth and I don't intend to ever buy anything else from La-Z-Boy or recommend them to my friends.

I purchased a La-Z-Boy sectional and after only a few months the brand new piece of furniture looked like it already needed to be replaced. The back cushions had lost all shape and support. Seat cushions were mishappen, and sliding off the frame every time someone sat down, constantly needing to be pushed back into place. And the fabric overall had begun to peel heavily. And to this day family and friends comment on how unusually rough and scratchy and uncomfortable the sofa is. I originally contacted the customer service 800 line and was told I had to deal directly with my local store. They sent someone to take pics, and then I was told the "wear and tear" was all normal...that the fabric wouldn't continue to peel anymore than it had...and that the seat cushions sliding was a common complaint and many customers were resorting to putting a non slip rug mat under the cushions.
For the money spent that was just not acceptable! New back cushion inserts with extra filling were ordered for me, but I was provided no other help. AND the order for my cushion inserts was lost, and now a year later they are just being delivered to me this afternoon. If quality and durability are what La-Z-Boy promotes how can you not make good on defective construction and fabric? Oh!!! And it gets better. As I write this, I just now received a call from my La-Z-Boy store because I contacted them this morning to confirm today's delivery for my inserts. And big surprise! I'm not anywhere in their system. A whole year later and they've lost my information again???

I purchased 7 pieces of the Dawson Sectional on 6-25-2015 and received delivery on 6-29. Two weeks later I noticed on one piece in the seat area that there was massive wear in the fabric only; it was separating from the heat fused backing. When I called Comfort care 2 days later I noticed the same wear starting in the same spot on another piece that was separated by a console but no wear or damage to the console. Over the next 2 weeks I called Comfort Care 6 times and talked to 6 different people and was finally told it was animal damage even though they said they had not seen damage like this before; I have a 2-year-old Lab and 3 cats from 4 to 5 years of age. The 6th time I called was mainly to let them know that the same wear had started in the same spot on the chaise piece that was on the opposite end of the sectional.
In a matter of 4 weeks in my house 3 pieces are showing the same wear in the same spot and La-Z-Boy tells me it is animal damage. The damage is not ripping or tearing but separating and stretching; the cushions have no damage; it is just the top layer of fabric separating from the heat fused backing. After a tech was sent out to take more pics another 2 weeks passes and they continue to tell me it is animal damage and they will discount replacement pieces or repairing the current pieces ranging from $1200 to $2200 on top of the $5200 I already spent on the pieces brand new. I unfortunately do not have the money to pursue legal action and La-Z-Boy at 16720 Royalton Rd Strongsville, Ohio. I would also love to post pics but for some reason I am not able to attach the images no matter what I try.
To conclude this long rant, La-Z-Boy apparently does not stand behind their products if you have animals even when I have proof in 3 pieces of furniture in my home that have not been damaged by the same animals, and the least amount of time is one piece from Big Lots that has been here for 16+ months with daily use that shows no signs of damage, the other is from a thrift store and a sofa from Aaron's Rent. If their furniture can't stand up to 2 weeks in my home with animals that have never tore up a piece of furniture then how will they hold up in your home?

We just had our Greyson power recliner sofa delivered last week. Can't believe how comfortable it is. The contoured seats practically hug your body. This is our second attempt at a new sofa from La-Z-Boy. The first one demo'd well in the showroom but we neglected to consider a few things there, and found at home it was really not a good fit for us. Our sales rep met us 1/2 way on the restocking fee since it was a custom order and we got the new custom sofa delivered in one month. It was a lot quicker than anticipated.

Overall my experience at La-Z-Boy was a positive one. We purchased the Cooper couch. The demo was very comfortable but we demo'd in a showroom and not our living room. One big oops (on our part) was that the angle of the head when reclined was too high and not a comfortable position for watching television. At these prices, I did not want to settle for discomfort. There were other choices that would have given us a higher back and supported the head better.
We had the 30-day comfort guarantee but the 30% restocking still applies even though we wanted to upgrade to a more expensive couch. The wording in the contract says cancellation, so I didn't expect a restocking for an exchange to a more expensive model. They at least compromised on a 15% restocking fee and allowed us to keep the couch until the new one arrives. So not all bad. Lesson learned. BTW, the restocking fee is for all custom orders. Not many, non-custom orders with La-Z-Boy. Looking for to the new Greyson model when it arrives and hoping to provide a better review.

My experience at La-Z-Boy was very calm and relaxed. The saleslady introduced herself and then she just let us look, which was a nice change. Nobody was hounding me, which I hate when I'm in looking at furniture, so my husband and I were able to walk around and be left alone until we went and asked a question. I love the quality of our purchases, and they look great in the living room.

La-Z-Boy makes the cheapest possible furnishings & charges the highest price they can get away with. And be warned? It's terrible quality & won't last. From the 'designer fee' & warranties that are a complete joke... it's a place to stay well away from. (Even The Brick was better... so that's saying something.) We spent well over 10 grand on two rooms... from leather entertainment furniture recliners (4) & rests, a bedroom set & coffee end tables. All of which are poorly made & wearing even worse. And we are not rough on our things! I cannot imagine if we were not careful how badly things would bust! We have had over TWENTY service calls in THREE years & each time something re-breaks, wasn't fixed properly or breaks again. If you shop at La-Z-Boy... be warned. From the time you fatefully enter their showroom stores, to having the 'designer' come visit your home with the salesperson... it's a complete gong show.
They push extra pieces, slam your decor (to make you feel bad & buy more), bring you back to the store for a pushy "buy all of this extra stuff to create a room" nonsense. Lamps for 800 bucks? Area rugs for over a grand? If you go in for a couch, they'll push a whole room to be decorated & won't back down. Then they add things up & charge brutal high prices for the few pieces you select from their "showing" & inflate warranties & costs. It's a bait & switch. Their stuff is ALL poorly made. VERY poorly made. The entertainment recliners & pieces? The spring mechanism for the leg rest have broken twice, the drink tray has fallen out & broken countless times. The one repair fellow used a hot glue gun each time to "repair" it. He even sat on it twice to set the glue. The final fix? Black screws on a SILVER tray & all around it - into the leather - which ripped & cracked the tray. It looks terrible! New part being ordered for yet ANOTHER repair.
Then there are the plasticky silver drink holders in each chair that they have replaced & replaced, & each time they pop out. I have seen the repair guys hot glue them in, screw them in from the underside & each time they crack, pop out or break within weeks. It's a cheap plastic, so I am not sure what they are thinking? Then they took the chairs apart when the arms kept collapsing. Yes, caved in! Wanna know what's inside? Layers of cardboard! Yeah. Solid cardboard though & perhaps special stuff?! The staples they used to put the leather back on the chair bottom after repair 10? They came out & the leather peeled back. Nice. The end tables we got? They chip if you just look at or lightly touch them & look terrible.... I fill in the white chips & touch them up with a marker each time they mark. The warranty we paid a premium for is a scam, as their repair guys continue to "repair" things... & once the warranty runs out? We'll be paying.
They keep "fixing" the same things & they re-break & eventually it'll cost... as things are not being fixed properly. I call, book the repair guy & he comes out & naturally they have NO parts. Wait 4 to 6 weeks for parts. Often the wrong part comes in. Repeat the process. Book the repair guy again & he "repairs" things. Repeat this process each time the same thing & new things break all over again & it's maddening. I would NEVER buy a single thing from La-Z-Boy EVER again & while companies don't realize word-of-mouth is a thing, I share freely when asked. Stay away. Go elsewhere. Run from La-Z-Boy anything!

My furniture was delivered on 5-12-2015. After the delivery people left, I noticed a defect in the Loveseat. I immediately contacted the Warranty Department and sent a photo of the defect. I was told that I would receive a new piece in the mail and a tech would be sent to install it. The part was received on June 4th in a damaged carton. On June 5th, I called the Warranty Dept. and told them that there was damage to the new part and again sent a picture. I was told that another part would be sent.
I talked with a Supervisor named Jason and expressed concern about the package being left on my doorstep during vacation and request that it be delivered to the La-Z-Boy store and was told that the tech would pick it up and bring it to my home with him for installation. I was told that it should arrive by 6-25-1015 and that when it did arrive I should call and set up an appointment. I asked if I could set up the appointment then so that I would not have to wait an additional 3 weeks or more for the installation. I was given an installation date of 6-24-2015. I received a call on 6-23-2015 saying that a tech would be out the next day, however the part did not arrive at the store and the tech was cancelled.
On 6-24, I spoke with Emily and was told that a new part was due to be shipped on 6-29-2015. A new Tech date was setup for July 10th. The tech arrived on July 10th and had not been informed that he was supposed to pick up the part at the Local La-Z-Boy store in Abington. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that that part was never shipped. I tried to call the Supervisor Jason back and was not able to contact him and put in touch with yet another person. I spoke with Donita and was told that they would look into the problem and they would take 24-48 hours to get an answer. After no return call a week later, I called on July 22nd and spoke to someone in the Escalation Department who also told me that it would take 24-48 hours to find out what the problem was. Today is 8-4-2015 and again, no return phone call.
It is nearly 3 months since I received my furniture and I have had no resolution. I have talked to several people and can never get the same person on the phone twice. Each and every person asks me to go over the whole story again, even though they all say that they are taking notes. I am tired of apologies and want action. I was told I can't return the defective piece. Furthermore, I have purchased a 5 year protection plan for this furniture at my expense. If this is what I have to go through should I have any additional problems in the future, I think this is a rip off.
I purchased this furniture because it was made in the USA and because La-Z-Boy had a good reputation. This furniture costs several thousand dollars, I had it nearly three months and have not been able to get the service that I was promised when I purchased it. I am unable to attach a copy of my receipt or a picture. My pictures are on an iPad and I don't know how to send them using a Windows computer. I paid the balance by credit card over the phone. I have sent two pictures to comfortcare@la-z-boy, the first on 5-12-2015 and the 2nd on 6-5-2015.

I just retired and purchased a new sofa and loveseat from La-Z-Boy. The sales rep was awesome, and probably why I bought it. I didn’t even go and look anywhere else. She knew what I was looking for. I see when someone knows what they’re talking about as opposed to when they don’t have an experience or a love of the product. There are many furniture stores out there but you can't compare La-Z-Boy's quality unless you’re gonna go and spend ten times as much which many times is because you’re in some sort of store environment that can demand that or it’s a trend. It’s not inexpensive, but it’s also not outrageous. To get that kind of quality in that price range, I feel I got a value. This is something that’s gonna last. I’ve always shared about La-Z-Boy with some of my friends who came over and they notice the difference.

I'm satisfied completely with La-Z-Boy. I bought a new chair from them and it was defective, shipped from the factory that way. When they delivered the recliner, I wasn't able to do anything then because I had people here. After the delivery guys left, I looked at the furniture and said, "Uh-oh, there's a stain on the seat already." It looked like a brand new $2,200 piece of furniture with a big stain on it. But it wasn't a stain -- it's a material rub where someone apparently put a belt around the seat and this caused it to wear right down to the fabric.
La-Z-Boy sent a man out and he looked at it and ordered a new seat. He said the new seat will come in, and for me to give them a call when it comes in, and then they sent somebody out to put the new seat on. So I'll have to wait until the new seat comes, and I don't know how long it's going to take for them to deliver it and how they're going to ship it. But the whole seat has to come in and they'll take care of it. Other than that, I've never had any trouble with La-Z-Boy. Otherwise, I wouldn't have dealt with them, and I've had them for years.

Our furniture was getting worn out and needed to be replaced, so we went around several places in the area and when we went in to La-Z-Boy, I liked the look of the furniture and the salesman was very informative, pleasant, and helpful. They had a design service that really piqued my interest. So we took advantage of that design service and ended up making the purchase. The furniture were pretty good, but probably not made quite as well these days as in the past. What we had before was about 20 years old, and was pretty sturdy. I don't get the feeling that it's as sturdy since there are a lot of moving parts in this furniture. We were doing some work on our house, so we had the furniture sitting in their warehouse for quite a while until we were ready for it and they were fine with it - as long as we needed, and there wasn't a problem.
The day of the delivery, we knew that they would be calling but they did catch us off guard. We were supposed to get an hours' notice. But when they called, they said, "We're right around the corner. We'll be there in about four minutes." They were bringing in a lot of heavy, big furniture and we have a little wrought iron gate outside. They knocked it off its hinges and we found out about it after they left. Things were kind of bent out of place so we needed to repair that. I don't know if they realized that that had happened because the furniture was big and bulky. Other than that, everything else was great.

The sales rep was great, and was very helpful. She came over to the house and took pictures so we can figure out where we could put all the furniture. She even took pictures of the paintings we have on our wall so we could see how everything matches. Then, she made up a display thing at the store that we went to looked at. She went out of her way to make sure we were satisfied. Also, we have no complaints on the quality of our furniture. We're repeat customers and if we had complaints from a long time ago, we wouldn't go to La-Z-Boy. It was great.

My friend is not well and had a lot of infection from his surgery. He's really been weak so I got him a chair with the push buttons so it would be easier for him (having the buttons to push to raise him up helped him a lot). The sales rep Michelle at the gallery, was very nice.

My other chair wasn't working right and didn't hold up so I said, "We've got to go for the best." I have my La-Z-Boy power recliner for a week now and so far, it feels good. The sales rep was helpful and did a good job.

We bought a couch, ottoman, glass table, triple chair, and lamp from La-Z-Boy. The floor lamp is very pretty and sculptural but there was one little knob that’s still missing from the lamp. It was noted on the bill when they delivered it and also there was a call to the office about it but we still haven’t gotten it. It’s not emergent but the screw that goes through it wasn’t long enough and it needs this little knob to anchor it on the other side.
As far as the other part of the experience, we liked working with La-Z-Boy. They did a great job. The sales rep coming over and taking pictures of the area was one of the least stressful things.

My wife and I recently moved to a new house so we purchased furniture. As soon as we walked into the La-Z-Boy gallery, we were greeted by a sales rep who asked us if we had any questions and at the time we didn't. As we continued browsing, we did have questions and reached back to the sales rep. We bought a power sofa and love seat from them. The delivery team were here right at the start of the window provided. They were pretty quick, very courteous and friendly. They brought it in and set it up in the family room. The only thing is that when we use the recliners for the legs, it gets off track and comes back on track, if there's too much pressure on it. But overall, it's good quality. We've enjoyed it.

I have cancer so I needed something that was more comfortable during the day. La-Z-Boy is the primary brand for us so we went right for quality and went to the store. It was a wonderful experience. We had our two young children with us and they seemed as though our children could do no trouble. Everyone was very kind and considerate. We bought a La-Z-Boy recliner that day and my husband picked it up the very next day because we bought it off the floor. I’ve been sitting in it every day since then and it’s been very comfortable. With this chair my kids just want to snuggle and cuddle all the time now so it's awesome and I'm enjoying it.

I hope this will be passed on to corporate or whoever is in charge of service by the employees. I was in La-Z-Boy a few weeks ago wanting to purchase a sofa because of the reputation and past performance of purchases. I walked into the store and two other ladies come in about a minute after me. I walked around looking at various sofas for about 10 minutes and not once did ANY employee come over and ask if they could help me. I realize they may be on a rotation basis of helping customers but when a group of employees is standing in the back of the showroom chatting among themselves and totally ignoring that not only was I walking around looking but also two other women who were not with me. I have purchased many items from La-Z-Boy over the years but never have I had such bad, ignored service. This needed to be addressed to the appropriate department and this was at the New Port Richey, FL store.
As a result of this poor, inconsiderate, rude service, not only did they lose possibly one sale but two, and gave this store a very poor reputation. I left the store as well as the other two women. We were totally dismayed at the total lack of any type of service by these representatives at this store and definitely would not return there but will tell others of our lack of help by anyone when you are looking to purchase anything resulting in the loss of money to your company. This needs to be addressed quickly and these employees reprimanded for their outright ignoring customers. Are they not in need of any commissions and just figures standing there like a possible security group? They certainly are not in representing your company in a gracious, helpful manner. Your attention to this matter needs to be addressed immediately.

I am writing this review to inform Texas Customers about an unacceptable attitude performed by a local furniture manufactory La-Z-Boy Inc where they have disrespecting the Texas Customers. My wife and I have just moved to a house in Dallas and we decided to shop for a new furniture. Nebraska Furniture Mart has just opened a new store in Dallas Texas and it was a good option that time since they can offer a vast variety of models and brands. We searched on Nebraska Furniture Mart website and we selected two sofas sets produced by La-Z-Boy Inc.
We visited the Nebraska Furniture store last weekend on Sunday, 26th and we spoke with Sales Manager about the desirable sofa sets and he created a purchase order. For our surprise, after one hour waiting for the order to be completed the sales manager notify us that La-Z-Boy Inc does not allow Nebraska Furniture Mart to sell their products in Texas because La-Z Boy Inc has several stores here and they do not want to have Nebraska Furniture Mart competing on their market. At that moment, I thought it was fair decision and I supposed that they would like to protect the company and their Texas employees jobs but the unacceptable surprise came later when we decided to go in the La-Z Boy Inc store in Frisco where we discovered that they were charging a much higher rates on same furniture here in Texas than other regions where Nebraska Furniture Mart has been selling it.
The La-Z-Boy Inc prices in Texas are 30% to 50% more expensive than OMAHA, NE store where Nebraska Furniture Market sells the same product. [Remember La-Z-Boy does not allow Nebraska Furniture Market to sell their brand in Texas and they do not also accept to match Nebraska prices here.] So La-Z-Boy wants to sell same product for much higher price for Texas Customers. Is it a real Texas local Company??? Is it fair that Texas Customers pay more for same La-Z sofa? It is produced here and the stores are here. Why should we pay more? This is unacceptable.
Please be careful when you decide to buy something from La-Z-Boy Inc we work so hard to provide the best for our families and maximum comfort we can afford to them so please do not accept companies like La-Z-Boy Inc to charge you higher rates for products much cheaper in other places. For same sofa set Texas Customer would need to pay a difference of 848.00 dollars more. La-Z-Boy can only finance their furniture for 12 Months. In Nebraska Furniture Market you can finance it for 18 Months no interest. La-Z-Boy also charges optional fees of approx. $250.00 dollars for fabric protection + additional charge for 3 years warranty. It is aprox $330 dollars for same Fabric protection offered by Nebraska per $119 dollars.

I’ve had a lot of problems with the delivery from La-Z-Boy. I had a dining room table, loveseat, and sofa delivered, and all three of them have defects and had to refuse the dining room table at delivery. The sofa has misalignment in the cushions and the manual leg rest of the loveseat is now broken and doesn’t work at all. They’re not in the same condition as what I found in the showroom and it’s been a horrible experience at best. I was in the store yesterday and brought in pictures that they were going to reach out to customer care. The sales reps were very pleasant when I went in to the store initially, but when I called and indicated the problem with the dining room table on delivery I was expecting a return call within a day. However the whole last week I had to be the one making the phone calls to the store.

The La-Z-Boy recliner chair and loveseat we purchased three years is quite comfortable. However, the bonded leather fabric is flaking off at the head, arm, and foot rests. La-Z-Boy offered to recover those parts but it would cost us half the cost of the original purchase price. They claimed the furniture needed to be wiped down every week due to body oils. If the salesman had told us this we would have selected another fabric cover or 2. Done the wipe down weekly. He assured us this would wear as well as leather. No directions came with the delivery on upkeep, and I have yet to find "bonded leather" cleaning instructions on the La-Z-Boy website. Lesson learned - never purchase La-Z-Boy again.
9/25/2015 - I want to let readers know that just because La-Z-Boy responds to a complaint does not mean that it is settled to the consumer's satisfaction. For my previous complaint about the flaking of the bonded leather material on recliners, I was offered the opportunity to pay for La-Z-Boy to fix it, at $1000, or I could purchase additional material to try to fix it myself. Neither satisfies me as the furniture will continue to wear out prematurely and will have to be replaced, again at my expense.

After 27 years, my husband's chair had become like the chair of Frasier's dad. It still works but it was old and ugly so we decided to purchase a new one. We went to 2 different stores. We went to the store up at Easton in Columbus. We didn't buy it there just because we still wanted to check other places but they were terrific to help us out. We did buy it on the one on Hamilton Road. Both places were wonderful. They had a lot of patience with us. They showed us everything we needed to be shown and let me take samples outside so I could see it in regular light. I highly recommend La-Z-Boy - not only the products but the store and the people that work for them.

Great customer service, nice salespeople. Special ordered 1 chairs, one had a obvious stitching defect, surprised it passed inspection. Tech coming tomorrow, hopefully with a resolution. Nice chairs but the fabric is very hot once you have sat in them a while. Saw this on a review and should have paid attention to it.

I have two La-Z-Boy recliners and decided to add a couple of TV in the living room and since we enjoy the recliners, to upgrade with the power ones. We’ve had some 8 years old and no issues with the manual type of recliners, but the electric ones are really nice. I went to three different stores window shopping and trying out the different sofas and chairs. Their sales representative has been a knowledgeable salesman that we have come across and that’s the reason we made a decision on what we really wanted to do. They’ve been real helpful to us. We’ve had the furniture for about 6 weeks now and so far the quality has been good.

How dare you say be careful in what I put down!!! 75% of my furniture is La Z boy. I purchased a wall hugger 15 months ago. About 3 months ago, it started making noise, when you sit down, recline, it didn't matter. I called Art Vans Furniture Store in Warren, MI and told them about noise. He said that I would need to contact La Z Boy. Called La Z Boy was told to take it to the store and have them look at it. Took it back to the store, and said that it's under warranty. Called La z boy and was told they won't cover it. What happen to lifetime warranty? I knew I should have bought Flexsteel Furniture. THEY STAND BEHIND THEIR FURNITURE.

It has been 11 years and our old furniture was showing wear and tear so we bought new ones when we had stopped in La-Z-Boy and saw something that we liked. We purchased a sofa, sofa sleeper, ottoman, and tables from them. The sales representative was very helpful, thorough and did a great job. The cost in relation to the quality of the furniture seems on point, so far so good.

I wanted my father to sit comfortably so we had his chair custom-made with a certain color and fabric. It was a long wait but it was good. The chair is very beautiful and well worth the price I paid for. I also had great customer service. I would recommend them to a friend.

My father was having trouble getting out of his chair, so we decided to get a power recliner for him and he loves it. It vibrates and heats. It's fabulous considering I only got to see it for three days. We went to their warehouse to get it. We noticed a little problem with it and they took care of it. After 20 minutes, we came back to pick it up. Everything was fine and they helped us put it in the van. I was exceptionally pleased with my experience with them.

We have had our chairs for 10 years and it was time for a replacement. We shopped at a number of different stores in town and thought that the La-Z-Boy shop has the best quality for the price. Their salesperson answered our questions, showed us the different types of models and took care of the order. The delivery team was also very good. They called to say they were coming, arrived on time, took care of everything and showed us the units. Everything went very well and so far, we're very happy with La-Z Boy's quality.

We had a La-Z-Boy recliner a few years ago. Since we were moving to a new house with more rooms to fill we decided to purchase new furniture. We had a sales rep who pulled out the current promotions, showed us a few different things and then left us alone. He didn't hover over us which was nice. We also took advantage of the in-home design consultant. She came to our house, measured, showed us fabric swatches, helped us make sure they would fit and took care of outlining all the pieces. We ordered recliners and a sectional. The recliners are great and I like them a lot. The sectionals would be delivered on the 13th of August. I had a decent and smooth experience with La-Z Boy.

My mother bought an electronic armchair to be able to sleep comfortably after having a double mastectomy. She got the chair in June and didn't use the sleep mode until this past Tuesday when she came home from the hospital. Last night, the chair broke when in the sleeping position. My poor mom! Called La-Z-Boy today and they can't get someone to come out to look at the chair until Tuesday! In the meantime, my mom doesn't have anywhere where she can comfortably sleep. I called and asked to speak to the manager. They said the same thing and when asked if I could speak to someone higher, they said I would have to wait 24-48 for them to call me back! Said they don't offer emergency services and not intended for health problems.. Guess what? A lot of women use an armchair after a double mastectomy to stay in. So disappointing!

Ordered furniture 13 weeks ago and signed a contract that it would take 6-8 weeks. Still have not received furniture. They give me a date and then when the date arrives they change it with no explanation of what is taking so long. Today I was just told that my loveseat is ready for delivery after 13 weeks but the sofa has a projected date of 2 more weeks, which I am sure will change. I am not sure why La-Z-Boy doesn't have to abide by their contract, but this is by far the worst experience I have ever had purchasing furniture. I would never recommend this company.
After finally getting to "customer care" I was simply told the "facts" of my order with no effort to make the situation right. I am beyond frustrated and after 13 weeks I would like to cancel my order and I am now getting the runaround to do this. I have to wait 48 hrs to speak to someone on this issue, which is further adding to my frustration. I currently have a living room that I can't live in because I have no furniture and La-Z-Boy is holding me hostage for an order they have yet to deliver. I now have to start this process all over again. Thanks La-Z-Boy for the worst customer service I have ever seen. Never again.
Updated on 07/29/2015: To follow up on previous post on La-Z-Boy breach of contract. I guess the people at La-Z-Boy did not agree with my facts on the purchase of furniture and disputed with no explanation, which then made my post get a line through it as though irrelevant. This is typical of how I was treated thru this process and I finally cancelled my yet undelivered order on July 25th. (Original order April 25th with 6-8 week lead time.) I have never had to work so hard to buy something. I initiated every call regarding delivery and the date continued to change with no explanation or follow up calls.
Spoke with corporate on July 23rd and was supposed to receive a call within 48hrs, never happened. Posted my complaint, still no call to salvage any respect that I might have had left. No call, just disputed and basically erased my original post. BUYER BEWARE. This company is so large it has no control over logistics and customer service is so lacking that they actually come off unconcerned and rude. My original post was factual. I know this because that info came directly from corporate and they stated the facts of my order back to me.
I finally drove to Sheely's Furniture in North Lima, OH on the same day that I cancelled my order with La-Z-Boy and drove home 1 hr later with the furniture in the back of my truck. Should have done that weeks ago. Lessons learned as I cannot get those irritating 13 weeks back. Oh, by the way La-Z-Boy, the best answer when a customer is having a problem is to simply ask, "How can I make this better for you?" Rather than to claim ignorance. NO STARS FOR YOU!!

We recently moved so we needed some new furniture. We went to La-Z-Boy and the sales interactions that we had on the floor and with the designer that helped us were great. And so far the furniture that we bought has great quality. But delivery did not go as smoothly as the design and planning and purchase experience. They do it at the time window that was communicated but I guess I misinterpreted so we missed the first delivery attempt and it was extremely frustrating to try to get it rescheduled. It wasn't really La-Z-Boy's fault as much as it was the delivery company. But it's a little bit odd that La-Z-Boy has such a high bar for quality and then in this instance, at least in my area, they take a lower quality delivery company.

My husband and I ordered 2 chairs, his leather chair is in stock; mine is special ordered due to the fabric I chose. We want to save money and pick up his chair from the store and not pay the delivery fee. WHAT A NIGHTMARE. The people working in the Merrillville IN are the worst! We paid cash for the chairs, we were told that the leather chair could be picked up on July 22nd; I called today, July 23rd to be told that the chair isn't in; I wasn't asking about my chair, I was asking about my husband's chair.
The person on the phone was the most DISRESPECTFUL person I have ever spoken to! She should read the entire order before speaking to me. I will never shop at this store again! Such a shame, I have 2 La-Z-Boy chairs that I bought for my 2 babies' rooms, they are now 20 & 22 years old - they have held up extremely well and went with my kids when they went off to college. I was really looking forward to our new chairs; the poor attitudes of the employees at the store have really tainted what started out as a milestone purchase; my husband recently retired - his leather chair was my retirement gift to him. I'm told that his chair can be picked up on July 29th, not sure when my chair will be ready for pick up. I'll be glad when I have the chairs and will no longer be at the mercy of these people.

After 15 years with my same couch, it was time to get a new one. So I got a sectional recliner and some chairs from La-Z-Boy. However, they’re going to fix this weekend a part of the console where you pull the glass because it's moving. I wasn't too happy with it and paid a lot of money for that stuff.

I ordered (2) Leather Collins sofas in January 2015, they were delivered at the end of April. In May I contacted the store, Sugar Land, TX location to inform them that these sofas did not have any hooks or Velcro to hold the cushions in place as all the other La-Z-Boy Leather sofas offer that are on their floor. These are not cheap sofas, as I paid almost $3,000 per sofa.
I contacted Customer Service in Dallas, who in turn told me to contact Corporate, but they did not do anything either. I think this is either an oversight or a design flaw. I looked at a La-Z-Boy showroom and ALL the Leather sofas there had either a hook or a Velcro strap to hold the cushions in place. If this is not corrected, then the cushions will eventually bend/fold permanently in place, not to mention that they are not comfortable.
If this is how the Leather Collins sofas are offered, then the sales person at the time should had informed me that these sofas were not going to have this. I have owned leather sofas in the past and have never had this issue before. In addition, I purchased the Extended Service Warranty for this furniture, so if this is an oversight, then a Service Technician should come out and take care of this. If this is a flaw in the design, then I want to exchange these sofas for two comparable functional leather sofas.

Although these products are only 25 1/2 months old and the mechanical units (one manual and one electrical) have failed I was told I would have to pay $109 per hour for a technician to come to my home for the repair. Obviously the warranty on the manual unit is useless and the electrical unit failed after minimal use. I would never buy another La-Z-Boy unit after having this experience. My husband will attempt to repair the units and then I will sell both pieces to get this out of my home!

My husband was in the hospital and he couldn’t breathe lying down. Our old La-Z-Boy chair wasn’t suitable for him since he couldn’t operate the side of the chair where there's a wooden thing that pulls the chair back. So I went in to La-Z-Boy and luckily they had a sale going on. I got a power recliner for him so when he comes home from the hospital, he could have a place to sleep in until he’s well. It’s beautiful, and I love the quality.

After having our last La-Z-Boy sofa and Chair and a half for over twelve years, we decided to "look" for new furniture. I looked at many stores and many styles of sofas, but none were as comfortable as our current sofa... until I stopped into a La-Z-Boy store just to look. The sales associate and the decorator helped us choose replacements. The decorator drove to our house that same day (we live almost 2 hrs away) to help with accessory selection. The new sofa and love seat are beautiful and very comfortable. The last chair is due to arrive shortly. I suspect they will have a long life in our home, too! The staff at the store in Virginia Beach were very helpful, without being pushy. The entire experience was top notch.

I've had La-Z-Boy furniture in my home for 20 years and I love them. I recently purchased a sofa, a chair, and ottoman from them to replace the furniture we've had since 2004. The thing is, I didn't like that my old furniture had moving parts. It had the footrest and underneath the frame you have to have something under it to protect the floor but this new couch from La-Z-Boy has things on the legs. I wish I had gotten a new couch earlier because now I don't have to worry about that. The new couch also doesn't have moving parts and there's no frame underneath so it's wonderful. We got leather for the couch and it's good quality. All the parts are great. No complaints.
The sales representative at the La-Z-Boy gallery was great. The delivery team was very nice. The only thing is you had to pay them an extra $10 or $20 for each big piece of furniture. It was fine but I couldn't remember that when I did it at the store. The delivery team said feel free to call the store so it wasn't like they were doing something that wasn't true. So that was fine.

The girls that worked with us at the La-Z-Boy store were phenomenal, patient, and helpful. And not only that, but they got us what we ordered quicker than we had anticipated. And it was vital because it was for a 90-year old woman(my mother in law) that was going into assisted living. And it's functioning fine, it's perfect and she likes it. We just couldn't be happier with La-Z-Boy at this point. I know we also used La-Z-Boy for my mother. It was a real positive experience. Fantastic.

I am very happy with the service I was provided when I had the chair of my original purchase replaced by another one. The first recliner had a manual mechanism and the replacement has a motorized reclining system. We had just purchased our first home and wanted quality furniture, we went to our local store and purchased 2 recliners and a duel reclining leather loveseat. A couple months after purchase the foot rest on loveseat broke, I have been trying to have repairs made since Oct., 6th 2014!!! I still have my broken couch stored because when repairman was looking at it, he broke the arm and back so now it’s unsafe. I DO NOT get return calls and have not gotten ANY help from corporate, other than being told "each store is independently owned but they will contact them and make sure I receive a return call". At this point I want them to refund in FULL the price I paid, and be lucky I'm not charging THEM storage fees!!!

We were excited to purchase La-Z-Boy furniture based on their reputation of quality. We purchased a custom Mackenzie sleeper sofa that comes with accent pillows and a matching ottoman on 2/27/2015. We were told that it would take 6-8 weeks to receive the furniture and it should come around 4/10/2015. We were informed close to the expected delivery time that the shipment was delayed due to the ottoman missing. We finally received our order on 4/22/2015. Upon inspection it was discovered that the accent pillows that came with the sofa were missing. We contacted the store and were told that they would see if they could be found in the warehouse. The store sales manager indicated that they would have to order the pillows. We received a call back on 4/30/2015 that they cannot order the pillows in the fabric that we got our sofa and ottoman in and that we would have to choose another fabric.
I had questioned whether that was true because we had used La-Z-Boy website to check fabric choices before placing the order in the store. On the website the fabric we chose was an option for the accent pillows. The store sales manager assured me that the fabric was not an option. On 5/1/2015 we went to the store and selected another fabric based on the store sales manager's advice and were told we would receive our pillows in 4-6 weeks. On 6/2/2015 I called to check the status and found that it appeared that an order was not made. The store sales manager indicated that she made the order and it should be received within the next week or so. That time passed, still nothing. I called back and contacted customer care and was informed that the order was placed and I should expect delivery on 7/17/15 or 7/18/2015 after they had investigated and spoke with the store sales manager.
I also was told that I needed to speak to the store sales manager for updates if I don't receive anything. I called today (7/19/2015) and the store sales manager was busy and not able to take my call after I held the line for 10 minutes, and the person on the phone was rude to me after I asked if they had a tracking number. I have been very patient, cooperative and respectful through this ordeal while being given the run around. All I want is the remainder of my order and reimbursement for the difference in value of the fabric. It is ridiculous that it should take nearly 13 week to receive pillows that should have been with the sofa and treated as if I am a pest for following up and asking about the status of what I have paid cash for.
There was no issue with the store sales manager taking my secure funds and I have spent nearly $5K this year with La-Z-Boy. I was planning to buy more pieces from them but due to this experience I am taking my purchases to another vendor. I really do not appreciate how I have been treated and not receiving the remainder of the goods that I paid for even after compromising to accept another fabric.

We noticed the power recliners that the we got was that it doesn't take dual-cell batteries. I think it's the design of the connector - one is square and the other is hexagon-shaped. Now as far as the day of the delivery, they said they would close whether it's morning or afternoon. I think the window was 4 hours or more so we have to stick around for that time. Still, they came, put everything together, and were very professional. The people there at La-Z-Boy also were very helpful and answered our questions. They did a very good job overall.

We had darker furniture for a long time and we wanted to lighten up the room so we did the whole room over. Our first contact with La-Z-Boy was with a woman, the one that helped us pick out stuff and she is knowledgeable and responsive. It was a rainy day when they came to deliver the items and I was afraid of having wet feet on the carpet but delivery team put booties on and they laid rugs down and they were very, very good. And on top of it all, we love the sofa and two recliners we purchased. We're enthused about that. Furniture looks like it was all made.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! We were so excited to find what we were looking for! Then after 2 months the chair broke (because of a faulty design according to the repair man)! We now have been 3 months trying to get it repaired! Everyone I have talked to (and I have documented) tells me I need to talk to someone else & gives me another number to call. I have been given a total run around! The phone calls I have been instructed to call tell me they are not part of La-Z-Boy. Contracted out I guess?
After going back and forth for a month and a half the repair man (who per his words are contracted by La-Z-Boy) came out to tell me it was broken and he would have to do a work order but had to wait on "La-Z-Boy parts". And it would take 10 days. The lady at another dept said that was wrong and she would order parts after she got approval from warranty dept and that would take 2-3 WEEKS and THEN I could schedule the repairman to come back (it took me 3 weeks to get him there in the first place!), so now I am looking at another 5-6 weeks!!!
I even turned to the salesman at the store for help and he's no help at all! He was totally adamant that there was nothing HE could do. I had to call "Customer Care" and everything had to go through the warranty first. The only thing he did was gladly take my $1000.00! So here I sit 5 months later with a broken unusable chair taking up space in my living room for the past 3 months! I don't mind spending a little more money for a good product and I even understand that sometimes a lemon of a product falls off the assembly line.
The only thing I am asking is for some good ol' "customer service". This was a brand new chair and not something that I had been using for years. I am extremely disappointed. I will never buy another La-Z-Boy product due to the lack of customer service alone and I will be sure to tell EVERYONE I know not to EVER buy La-Z-Boy. They are surely NOT what they use to be! Is this what they call their Life Time Warranty??? I guess because you will have to spend a lifetime getting any warranty work done!

We've had La-Z-Boys for years and they were worn out, plus we wanted the lift chairs because of our arthritis and bad knees - that's why recently purchased two of them. They look very nice in our den and we are enjoying them very much. With what it's doing, the warranties and the guarantee on it, it's a very good price. We've been very pleased with La-Z-Boy for many years and their quality of material has been excellent. The sales representative was also very helpful and nice. I've already recommended them to several people.

I ordered a new recliner for my husband online. I replaced a 3-year old La-Z-Boy recliner that literally fell apart. I thought, OK, I'll try another one. My husband hates the new recliner so I called online customer service to inquire about returning it. I can't. I was told, "We're not a used furniture store and you can try to sell it yourself." I have bought every stick of furniture in my house from La-Z-Boy. You have just lost yourself a customer. There are lots of furniture stores. I intend to shop elsewhere to replace the recliner my husband hates and any other furniture I decide I want.

I purchased a Kennedy sectional sofa and entertainment chest. The sectional took over 12 weeks to arrive (a little extreme but the salesperson did warn me upfront). Upon Delivery I realized the corner section of the sofa was defective. I realized the chest (another piece of the order) was defective as well. Both items were picked up for repair.
Upon return of the repaired items the sectional was around 95% acceptable (while the price of the sectional justifies 100% satisfaction in my opinion, my weariness caused me to accept 95% satisfaction). However, it was apparent that the chest had not been touched at all - the chest was still defective. I returned the chest and am now awaiting Next Steps from the Customer Service department. My positive comments are as follows: beautiful showroom, many fabrics to choose from, many seating types to choose from, extreme ability to customize, polite salespeople, polite delivery personnel, polite customer service personnel, and made in the USA.
My complaints and concerns revolve around the following: the perceived lack of quality control for manufactured items that are initially delivered, the perceived lack of quality control for repaired items that are delivered from the Customer Service center, the lack of transparency related to an escalation process for dissatisfied customers, the inability of reps with the La-Z-Boy customer care 800 number to provide adequate escalation assistance if the Lazy Boy design center is an independent dealer (Frisco, Texas is independent), the amount of time it takes to receive a return phone call from the Customer Service department (minimum of 24 hours - in their defense their answering recording does state this but this is unacceptable).
The lack of input and assistance the La-Z-Boy salespeople can provide once the sale is complete (very polite people but can do little to assist and take care of customers who are not satisfied other than to point them back to the Customer Service department), and the fact that you can only be returned 75% of your purchase price for custom ordered pieces (I am sure that must be in the 'fine print' somewhere but the salesperson did not inform me of it up front - a lesson that I have now unfortunately learned very well).
I am very disappointed in my purchase. This has been a very long and slow process. I also lack confidence that I will be taken care of by La-Z-Boy since no one from La-Z-Boy upper management has reached out to me. I specifically selected La-Z-Boy to support my country (made in the USA) so I feel particularly discouraged by the entire episode.

We purchased a sectional couch less than 2 years and material was wearing off. The couch was sinking in some spots. We called the distributor where we purchased in Feb 2015. They came and picked up the couch in March to repair. Here it is July 2015 and they still have not got back to me. Mind you we spent $4500. You think the couch would last longer than that.

Our experience with La-Z-Boy was really good. We had it for fifteen years and recently purchased a love seat. The quality of the furniture is excellent and the cost was quite reasonable. There were two sales representatives and both were very helpful. The delivery guys were very friendly and efficient as well. They had the whole thing setup in several minutes and made sure they didn't damage anything. They also tested it to make sure it worked and were very polite while they were doing it.

One of the three sections on the back of our La-Z-Boy sofa has a big A in the center. We wanted that repaired so we found a guy to do that. He messed around an hour and a half but couldn't put it back together. The sofa also got a bunch of wrinkles between the two back which I was not really happy about. They're supposed to send another guy out on Monday to try to restuff that cushion and I thought they should've taken it back and given us a new one but then I can't really complain yet because they aren't done. But I wasn't really happy with their approach in fixing it. We just got it brand new, had it only for a week so we haven't even used it yet so we thought that it should be replaced.

I purchased the new Urban Furniture 1 Dolce Couch and then 2 Recliner Chairs from Urban Styles ($3900.00) not including delivery - another 149.00 and then to dip the furniture in some stain resistance substance another 169.00 - All together over 4,000.00 Which I was told. Once a gentleman came to assess my complaint I had for my 3 pieces of furniture I had already for 3 months to wait for him to come out. He told me with La-Z-Boy trying to modernize their furniture with this Urban Style and hiring Brooke Shields would promote their sales and compete with other furniture stores that stay up to date with furniture. The quality is nowhere the same as what we bought 20 years ago!! Doesn't last!! Had I known that I would be getting I would have cancelled my order right away.
I thought I was getting very good furniture to last a long time. Unfortunately, this furniture looks terrible... We special ordered the welt and it is so crooked and the entire fabric all the way around is so loose and sewed horribly. What kind of quality control La-Z-Boy has is none! I think that product that cost so much money has to be perfect, without any defect. Waste of my time and stress. Never will use or recommend this company!

We dropped off my 8 year old swivel rocker for repairs. After it was inspected, the gentleman in service told us the back of the chair frame had pulled apart from the sides and it was going to cost $350 for Labor cost and the $50 for a replacement cushion. Not including taxes. My husband told David, to pitch the chair in a dumpster, that was ridiculous. David stated, "We will just repair it and give it to Habitat for Humanity." I am a bit confused. I have not seen a used chair in a Habitat restore that would sell for $350.
I guess that means we will need to visit the Restores in our area so we can buy back my chair at a reasonable price. I wanted my chair repaired, not taken to the cleaners on repair costs. We had just spent $1200 on a new chair and ottoman for my husband. We didn't want to purchase another new chair, but it looks like that's what they wanted us to do. No one in their right mind would give $350 for an 8-year old stained rocker. We personally donate to Habitat, it's a wonderful cause, but for them to do this to us because of such an outrageous estimate, Really? Shame on La-Z-Boy.

My husband had just suffered way too long without a La-Z-Boy recliner. There were a couple of holidays coming up so I made the decision to make our first ever La-Z-Boy purchase. The 25% off sale that was going on also helped me make the decision. I'm not in the regular habit of buying furniture, so for me it was a major purchase. Michael, the designer at the gallery was wonderful to work with. I can't say enough about him regarding his design capabilities and coordination with me. However, we had forgotten to add a product to my sales ticket, so I called and went back to purchase it and dealt with two other people who were not particularly helpful at all. The third person was helpful though, so it was really hit or miss with their people.
I also didn't like that I was gonna be charged $40 just to pick up my coffee table at the store and I had to throw a little bit of a fit about that since it was ridiculous. That charge needs to go away. I'm really pleased with the furniture though - it looks great. It's exactly what I wanted. At the end of the day, I'm really happy with the way things worked out and I have to give all the credit to the design team. Michael made everything about it super easy. There's the one sales guy that I’d say if you saw him, go talk to somebody else, but overall, I would still recommend La-Z-Boy to other people.

I had some back problems with my old chair so I purchased a power recliner from La-Z-Boy. My old chair didn't have any buttons or a handle so I could not physically get out of it when I was in pain. The La-Z-Boy recliner is pretty good but I wish there was a little bit more stuffing in the seat.

Paid $1400 for a big man recliner. 5 months after the purchase a plastic piece broke that extends the footrest. 10 months after purchase a wooden dowel underneath broke. Why does such an expensive recliner have wooden dowels holding things in place? Also a lot of the wood underneath is presswood. There is a rip in one of the seams and the back when reclined won't come back up. A serviceman came and put 2 screws in next to the wooden dowels and used wood glue, I told him that was not acceptable. Another serviceman is coming on July 30 and our warranty will be up 2 weeks after that. This has been a very cheap made recliner for such an expensive price.

We bought a couch, three chairs, rug, and more from La-Z-Boy. I've had a recliner from them before but that was probably twenty years old so we went to the shop and bought new ones. They sent a really nice gal to look at the house and give us suggestions. She made a floor plan and then we went back to the store and she showed us different fabrics. Now, we're still getting used to the new furniture but I feel that the quality is excellent. We did have their product before. They knew what they were doing. When we went in there to buy a recliner, they had some special wherein if you bought up to $3,000 worth of furniture, you get another $1,500 worth for free. It was impressive because the place was clean, the people were super with us and took all the time we needed. It really was a good experience and the people at that Appleton store are excellent.

I bought two chairs, for me and my husband, from La-Z-Boy because people say they got the best chairs. When I tried the chair in the store, it had a lumbar in the back. It fits right in my back and my back doesn't hurt. So I thought it can support my back because I got back problems. It's leather and I also felt very comfortable with it. I also thought that when I get old and 20 more years on my age, I wanted to be sitting in something comfortable like this chair. When we got the chairs, the back of the first chair with the lumbar disc was not stuffed enough. My husband is using it and when he sat on it, it wasn't touching his back in the lower part. So, he got to put a pillow or something back there. So I thought that what you're sitting or trying in the store might be a little different when you get it.
The second chair, on the other hand, was smaller and uneven. So, first and second chairs were totally different. I sent the second chair back and waited for at least about two months. The time went on by and I have never heard back from them. I've never dealt with a company took that long to give you your merchandise. So, I called them and went over back the store to check on it. Apparently, the girl that sold me the chair had left and went to another store. The assistant manager took care of it and guaranteed that I'll have the other chair in two days. And now, I got both of the chairs and I'm happy with them. However, the second chair is still a little smaller and I just couldn't get it right. But so far, the chairs are working fine.

It's been a very good experience with La-Z-Boy. Our sales rep was excellent, no complaints there - he's been very accommodating. The delivery team was very conscientious and professional. I would refer somebody your store here in Wilmington anytime. However, the way the chair releases from the recline position kind of pushes the chair forward - my mother-in-law just about fell out of the chair. I don't know if it's just the mechanism or the way that the chair was designed. Even so, I love the chairs. They're comfortable and very nice, but the release mechanism is a little quirky or scary sometimes. They swivel and they recline, and the way that the recline releases, it kind of pushes the chair forward and my mother-in-law just about fell out of the chair.

The sales representative Tanya was very helpful in determining if I was getting the correct size and selection of fabrics for my recliner and it turned out good, it works beautifully. The only thing was when it was delivered, I saw that the seat, the leg should have been darker. I thought it was going to be mahogany and I thought mahogany was much darker than that, so they were real quick to say, "Ms. Drum, we'll take it back. No problem... and the store will be calling you." The next morning, they were calling me saying that was what I ordered and that was what the shade was so nobody made a mistake except me. But they were wonderful about it. Even though it was my fault, it was handled beautifully. They offered if I wanted to do another leg or something and I said, "No, thats fine." Then the delivery people were back within another day or two and they were excellent. Showed me how it worked. They made sure everything was right on it.

We recently purchased a sofa and three recliners from La-Z-Boy because we moved. We worked both with a young woman and her brother-in-law who owns the business and they were professional and helpful. So far the quality of the furniture we bought has been good. The only thing is that their delivery team was horrible. We were supposed to get a call the day before to let us know what time they were going to arrive but we never had. Then they showed up at 7:30 in the morning without calling us, that's not business hours and we weren't ready for it as we had things to move. I have since talked to both the salesperson and the owner and I understand that this is a contract company that all La-Z-Boy services use. But it does not speak well for La-Z-Boy.

The customer service and furniture quality I have received is not consistent with the La-Z-Boy reputation. The sleep sofa I purchased was damaged upon arrival. It appears that the fold-out mechanism was damaged before it even left the warehouse, but La-Z-Boy failed to do a quality check. I discovered and reported the defect immediately -- 10 weeks ago! I have called customer service several times, and each time they state that the part has been delayed. Not once have they taken the initiative to inform me of delays, requiring me call them and wait on hold.
I called once again this morning, finally asking to speak to a supervisor. After several minutes on hold, the representative informed me that she could not get through to the supervisor, and would call me back. Two hours later -- no call. I'm sure the broken part could easily be replaced from an identical sofa already in stock. La-Z-Boy has made no significant effort to control or resolve the issue. This suggests a great deal of apathy in regards to customer appreciation.

My mom is loving her new recliner she got from La-Z-Boy. It's her first La-Z-Boy purchase. The salesperson helped my mom pick out the chair that was the right height, and right size. She was very knowledgeable, told us some things that we didn't think of. As for the quality of the furniture, so far so good. I got a three-year-old jumping all over it. We all love it. I'd recommend it to a friend.

We had a second room to furnish and La-Z-Boy was a recommendation for the design services. In the store, the manager and one of the design consultants were very friendly and helpful, and were able to walk us through and narrowed our options down. When the design consultant came to our home, he was personable and great to work with, which made me very happy. The quality of the furniture is outstanding - you get what you pay for. It was also pleasant dealing with their sales associate, and their delivery team was helpful in unrolling the rugs and put them exactly where we thought we wanted them. One more thing, since we had two different rugs that had two different dye loss, they were helpful in ordering a set with matching dye loss. All in all, I have positive thoughts on them. They were great.

The recliner I had was good and it's still good but I needed something a little bit more powerful so I bought a power recliner from La-Z-Boy and it is an excellent product. I had no problems with their sales rep and she seemed to know what she was doing.

I purchased a recliner from La-Z-Boy. I've had La-Z-Boy furniture in my home off and on my whole life, my parents used to buy it. I saw something online that I liked and there was nowhere around here that carried it so I called the La-Z-Boy gallery and the sales rep went through all the fabrics, the prices, and the different styles. She sat on the phone with me for 30 minutes and then called me back. It's one thing when somebody walks in the gallery but just for somebody calling and getting information, she was wonderful and that's why I ended up going with her. She was amazing. Also, the quality of the recliner is very good. Wonderful. The delivery team were awesome too.

We've had a La-Z-Boy rocking chair for 40 years. My wife was tired of watching me watch TV in bed so she said it was time for me to sit in the chair, so we bought a recliner. Dealing with the sales representative, sales associate and delivery team was a very pleasant and excellent experience. The quality of the chair is also very good.

I have received very little assistance from corporate as after purchasing from this store that appeared to be a corporate owned entity, I learned that it is privately owned. So... corporate has done nothing after multiple phone calls and 2 hours of homework pulling the couch apart to photograph serial numbers, etc. The store is only offering a return with a 30% restocking fee or I accept the few repairs recommended by service.
Service and corporate alike told me that this hearty couch I purchased for $3600 could not possibly withstand the weight of leaning or a person sitting on the armrest and indeed the arm could easily fall off and it would void my warranty. Really!!! After shopping with my 3 children and talking with the sales team including the showroom manager about how important both fabric and mechanics/frame durability were as the kids and dog would be on the couch, I am told that basically most of the problems I could envision occurring would be voided warranty because not intended use.
So the restocking fee... Everything La-Z-Boy can be custom built, sectional can be power recliner or standard, etc. So this means CUSTOM. So with CUSTOM, there is no return without a 30% restocking fee, even though the couch I received has a bunch of problems and looks and feels nothing like that in the showroom! I am now at the point of paying the restocking fee just to get this piece of junk out of my house and never have to deal with La-Z-Boy again. Yes, it is worth the $900 plus to do that! I am convinced that any future problems will be just as miserable to solve and based on the degradation after 1 month, the problems will continue. I would recommend not even considering La-Z-Boy as a reasonable furniture choice. Double what other furniture stores charge and WORSE quality and deplorable customer service. Shame on the current people running this company. Surely not the company my grandparents used!

The chair mechanism has plastic parts, has broken three time in three years. La-Z-Boy quit selling the chair according to the last tech service guy that repaired the chair. Each time it breaks after 1 year it's a $100 plus service charge.

I purchased an expensive sectional sofa about two and half years ago. The cushions are not firm and sinking in. I called the service department. They came out for an evaluation. Need replacement cushion which are not under warranty. Cost would be over $250 for one. The sofa is not made anymore. I am not happy with the quality and would never recommend or buy La-Z-Boy again since La-Z-Boy does not stand behind their products.

It was time for new furniture because the old furniture was about 25 years old. So I bought a sofa, chair and a half, and ottoman from La-Z Boy. The sales representatives at the La-Z-Boy gallery were very nice, pleasant, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. Overall, it was a good experience. The quality of the furniture I received is excellent. It was slightly overpriced but well worth the money for the quality. Scheduling my furniture delivery and the delivery itself was easy and quick.

I wish I had read the reviews prior to my purchase. I purchased a sofa and 2 chairs. It was clearly explained to the sales associate the colors I wanted and did not want. I was shown a small swatch of leather and was told the leather would "look totally different once it was stretched on the chair". I was told I would get swatches of the sofa, chair and pillows immediately after the order was placed. Well I placed my order 05/18 was told it would be delivered by the end of June. I received a call 2 weeks later that the furniture would not arrive until the end of July. I still had not received my swatches and was told they would check on the order. I finally received my swatches the week of July 1. Placed the leather swatch against my current leather and it is exactly the same color as my current sofa. NOT what I wanted and I made that clear from the beginning. Spoke with the store manager, still no resolution.

We have been long time La-Z-Boy customers and have literally spent thousands of dollars on their furniture, so when it came time to replace my recliner we logically returned to the same retailer we had done business with before. My wife called and was given pricing on a power leather recliner, she was very specific that this would be a special order fabric. She was given a quote of $1848 less 15% as it was on-sale for a total of $1571. She also inquired as to the special financing available on our La-Z-Boy CC, it was 36 months no interest. Both of these offers were available through Monday June 6th.
On Monday June 6th my wife traveled to the same La-Z-Boy store she has spoken to and proceeded to make a purchase. The $1571 chair had somehow grown to over $1970 and they insisted on 50% payment immediately. We had never had to do this before even on special orders and had 3 times the purchase price in available credit. So in reality their "special financing" would cover only half of the purchase price. After learning what has happened I immediately had my wife call and cancel the order. After a runaround they finally canceled our order. Needless to say I will not be shopping at La-Z-Boy again and would encourage others to do the same.

I recently bought a power lifter from La-Z-Boy for my mother who is going to be 86. So far it has been ok but when I went back to the store for a fabric swatch because I'm redecorating her sitting room, they wouldn't give me one and that pissed me off. You pay that much for a chair and they can't give you an inch piece of fabric is absolutely ridiculous.

I recently purchased a sofa, power sofa, and recliner from La-Z-Boy and it's my first time to purchase from them. My parents moved in with me and they're both elderly so I needed the power recliner because the two sofas I had were too low for them to sit on. The sales representative (Laurie), the manager, and all the sales reps were extremely nice and very knowledgeable.
The only thing is when they delivered the sofa, it has three tears in the bottom. They brought it in sideways. It's a tan sofa and the black cloth that covers the foundation of the sofa, the wood part, has three rips in it. I commented but nobody has contacted me so I called the gallery. They gave me a phone number of somebody to call. I've been displeased that there was no follow-up to correct the torn sofa on the bottom.

Purchased leather recliner that cost over $2.064.83 bucks. Patiently wait for 3 month to be made color that I like. On first delivery crack and discoloration on back of recliner noticed. Delivery took recliner back for repair. I wait another 2 weeks. On second delivery, the same leather crack observed. What kind of quality control La-Z-Boy has is none! I think that product that cost so much money have to be perfect, without any defect. Waste of my time and stress. Never will use or recommend this company!

I wanted some good furniture in our beach home and I knew La-Z-Boy products are durable so I bought from them. Their rep was very nice and he called to setup the delivery when the furniture was in and everything went according to plan. It was a little expensive, but with their excellent quality, you pay for what you get. We did have an upholstered chair that we had a problem with. But La-Z-Boy has been handling it for us and I don't have any complaints. I'd recommend their products.

I bought a La-Z-Boy chair from the store in Port Coquitlam, B.C. Within 6 months the stuffing settled and my arm was resting on wood. Called the store. No problem. Will get a new arm being disabled in one arm. I need the softness not wood and this was explained to the saleslady before I bought it. Now 1 month before the warranty runs out the same thing has happened. No stuffing and the other arm has also go the same way. Contacted the store, "Fine we will replace the stuffing."
I ask "If this happens when my warranty runs out will I have to pay to get it restuffed every 6 months?" Was told, "We do not know that it is going to happen again". I reply, "The chances are good that it will by the fact that we have had 3 arm rests do the same thing within a year." I was told the chair is like a pillow. It will lose its shape. When my pillow loses shape I buy a new one. Is that what La-Z-Boy wants me to do after one year? Call La-Z-Boy head office was told that the store I bought it from is an independent store. I stated that the chair was made by La-Z-Boy do not matter. I was told the store is responsible not the manufacturer. How can a company like La-Z-Boy sell a product that needs repaired every 6 months and after August at my cost?

My La-Z-Boy furniture are comfortable. We've had them in our home for 4 or 5 years and bought a new power sofa because we needed replacement. We were shopping around and knew what we wanted. I talked on the phone with their sales associate and they scheduled the delivery date we wanted. However, the store I was at didn't have the furniture I wanted. But other than that, everything went smooth and the quality is good.

My father is 89 and it’s hard for him to get up. He broke his hip, so he needed the La-Z-Boy chair and we bought it. The lady there was real helpful. We needed a replacement for the first chair and the manager compensated for it and said, “No, we're gonna take care of you and make sure you have something.” From then, it went just fine. The cost was at 30% off. I like La-Z-Boy and wish I could sit in it. It’s a great and nice chair. My father has been doing well and he’s happy with it.

Our furniture is 1-1/2 yrs. old, feels like 5 yrs. Comfort care has been out numerous times to replace things. The other problems that we are having we were told that they can't find nothing wrong and it's supposed to be that way. Very disappointed. Satisfied with store.

La-Z-Boy has since been extremely difficult and frustrating to work with. The store we purchased from never answered our e-mailed complaint. We have provided La-Z-Boys Comfort Care requests for pictures or information every time they've asked for it, in a timely manner, but Customer Service does not follow up as promised. WE have always had to make the follow up phone calls.
La-Z-Boy has been sloppy (having our address wrong in their system even after our repeated attempts to correct it) and dishonest by actually lying to us about the technicians report. Only when caught in their folly, by us providing our unexpected copy of said report, did La-Z-Boy finally make any attempt to correct our problem. La-Z-Boy sent new materials (to the wrong address) and later a technician to repair the unit. However, the same problems quickly returned; the blown fiber in the back cushion compresses but CAN NOT be refluffed or reshaped. Again we are experiencing the headaches of long telephone holds, providing more photographs and information and waiting for a reply that does not come!
Our last contact with La-Z-Boy was by e-mail. The same day La-Z-Boy requested more photographs and additional information. They promised to get back to us within 24-48 hours. 2 WEEKS later we have NOT received any reply! We are shocked and dismayed by La-Z-Boy! We will never recommend them again. We will share our story instead.

Ordering the furniture from La-Z-Boy was fine. I liked the part of being in the store and then having the designer come out to our house, measure and give us their input. The only area that it fell short for me was delivery. The gentlemen that delivered it got it in the room but they didn't really set anything up. I was told that they'd put it wherever I wanted and they'd help move things into the right spot, but that didn't happen. They didn't roll out the area rugs. After getting the stuff in the room the legs on the couch and the sectional had two different colored legs. And then there was a chip in the entertainment center. It looked liked it wasn't finished properly although I’ve had La-Z-Boy out to look at these two things now, and they’re getting fixed.

My partner purchased a sleeper sofa from La-Z-boy. The salesperson never asked him about the dimensions for delivery nor did he explain to him that if it could not be delivered due to dimensions that they would not take the item back. He also did not sign the terms and conditions of sale - which I find very strange. We have a copy of the receipt and there are no signatures. When the sofa arrived they were unable to get it into the guest room. They cannot take these sofas apart apparently. La-Z-boy is charging him 30% + delivery of the 1765.37 he paid and he has no sofa. He offered to pay the delivery charge and was shocked to find they would not fully refund the money for the item. We wanted this sofa. We simply could not get it into the house. This item was on sale. La-Z-boy will not budge and now has both his money and the returned sofa.

On June 09, 2015, I went into the Newington Ct. store to look at sleeper sofas. I guess that because I was not with my wife, the salesman was not so anxious to help. After some discussion I decided to purchase a sofa that someone else had returned and was now on the floor. It was plaid and had an upgraded mattress. I purchased the sofa for $1765.37 including delivery charge and taxes. I asked to have it immediately delivered but was told the earliest would be June 30th. The delivery men came and could not fit the sofa down my hallway into the bedroom.
The men returned the sofa to La-Z-Boy company and they told me that I would have to pay a 30% restocking fee and 99.00 delivery fee. Shame on you La-Z-Boy, I am on Social security and had to save for years to make this purchase. My grandchild wants to come visit with me and there is no place for her to sleep. Never did they try to accommodate me with a sofa bed that might fit through the hall. I cannot believe the criminal behavior shown by this companies actions. Never did the salesman discuss that sleeper sofas are much larger than conventional couches and that a measurement would be a good idea. These people are at the root of all things, ugly and un-American.

I purchased a La-Z-Boy sectional a little over a year ago. The armrest has started to collapse and the fabric is coming apart on the chaise that is used the most (single person 180 pounds). I always sit in the same spot because it's the most comfortable and the stitching is pulling out from the material. The armrest is poorly built and all the support has dissipated and you can feel the wood/cardboard underneath. I contacted La-Z-Boy corporate and they provided me with the local warranty office. Which, of course, being slightly over a year old, it's out of warranty, even though I purchased an extended warranty. Spend your money elsewhere.

We recently purchased some recliners from La-Z-Boy. We decided it was time to get new furniture because the recliners that we had weren't holding up. They were sagging where you got out of them and they're ten years old. Our salesperson was very nice. We were very pleased with her. She was very helpful, explained everything, and gave us a lot of choices on what to do and how to purchase them. It was a really good experience. We like the furniture that we received. It has good quality. We have an old recliner from the '70s in one of our bedrooms and it's still functioning. The delivery guys who came to our home were very good as well.

We ordered furniture in Feb 2015. We did not receive the order until the end of June. After about 2 months the store manager called to tell me the order had to be resubmitted, I agreed. She explained that the lady who sold us the furniture was no longer with them. Upon the visit from the salesperson and interior designer to my home, I were told that upon delivery they would be at my home to make sure every piece of furniture would be correct and placed in the right order in my home. Of course no persons came except the delivery people. And a piece of the sectional was not in the correct fabric.
The date of delivery was set and no one had mentioned the final payment for the merchandise, so I assumed I would pay the delivery persons or the interior designer. I got a call the day before @ 2pm. I did not receive the call so a message was left. I retrieved the message from my home phone at about 5:45 PM. I called immediately to see what was needed. I was told the remainder of the balance had to be paid before delivery. Go on the internet and the accts person would walk me through this. An email was sent and it went into the Spam acct, I could not find this. Time for the store to close was near so I was told to call back in the AM so I could pay. I think this is bad business, I should have been told the balance had to be paid either online or in person when the appt for delivery was set and we could have went into the store days ahead instead of waiting until the furniture was on its way!
I called after I was told the piece of sectional was wrong to relay my concern regarding the dye lot. I had to leave a message expecting to be called back twice 2 days in a row. I've yet to receive a call from the store manager. I had to call the store in Spanish Fort, AL I believe to find out if the furniture piece had even been ordered. If the dye lot is not the same I want a different sectional. The person I spoke to told me she would forward a message to the store manager in the Pensacola store via e-mail. Still no call. I will never do bus at this Pensacola store again. I've ordered furniture from other stores in the past and have had no issues. The acct was in **.

having to call and waiting for scheduling time for somebody to come out. But at least, they took care of it so that was the saving face there. Also, one of the cushions on the sectional is not adequately stuffed and it constantly collapses and it needs more stuffing in one of the pillows. Overall, the furniture is really good quality. I bought this furniture with the expectation that I won't have to buy anymore for many years to come so we'll see how it measures up over time.

In under 6 months of owning a La-Z-Boy sectional the fabric frayed extensively. This creates an undesired shag look all over the couch. We purchased the enhanced warranty at the time of transaction and have contacted customer care. Our first conversation was with customer care about 6 months ago. They deployed a technician to our home, and they stated fraying was occurring. They then sent new covers for the most damaged sections.
Now, after one year from purchase they are saying that it is not a manufacture defect. It does not make sense why they sent new covers and denied it was a defect. Seems like talking out of both sides of their mouth. I could expect this type of furniture deterioration after many years of use and ownership but not after a few months. I would not recommend La-Z-Boy Furniture or dealing with the customer service department. We are a younger family and will be purchasing many for furnishings in the future, and at this point it does not seem we will be spending our money with La-Z-Boy. (6-30-2015) Purchased @ St. Charles, IL La-Z-Boy.

I moved into a new house and my other furniture was too big to fit the room, and so I decided to get something smaller. I bought two recliners and a loveseat from La-Z-Boy. I love the loveseat - it's perfect. However, I'm a little concerned about the chairs. One of them has a spot on it and the cloth has wrinkles but the chairs in the stores don't. The girl that I worked with told me she would check in to see if we could get it taken care of. I really liked her. I've been on vacation so I haven't talked to her yet.

We recently bought a sofa and a love seat from La-Z-Boy because of my wife. The sales rep was nice but he ordered the wrong color when it came to us but corrected it later on for the right color. The other issue I had is with the loveseat's manufacture date on the bottom of it and the time they brought it to my home. It has been sitting in their warehouse for a year and a half and if I buy something that's brand new and paying top dollar for it, to me it isn't right and it should have been discounted. I let them know that I inspected the thing on the bottom and that loveseat has been sitting in the warehouse a year and a half from the time it was made. And I wrote it on the receipt that I signed when the gentlemen delivered it, and I have not heard back from them since then.

We purchased a couch 3 years ago and it is falling apart at the seams. We have contacted the store and comfort care with no resolution. The issue with the couch is clearly a manufacturer's defect (even one of your salesmen confirmed that when we were in the store with you viewing the pictures). Even if this is not currently in a recall, it should clearly be brought to the attention of the manufacturer and recalled immediately. The couch sections are literally falling apart at all the seams. We have always trusted that La-Z-Boy stood behind their brand and sold quality furniture that would last years. This is clearly not the case with our couch and we would like some type of remediation to correct the issue (new couch, credit, or fix it). We spent over $12,000 in your store.

The way the La-Z-Boy furniture was built was not pleasing to the eye for me. It looks like it's just slanted. I don't like it but I was told that's how they made that particular reclining part. Other than that, everything went fine with the La-Z-Boy technician that had come out.

I purchased a recliner which is defective. The seat cushion was damaged by the mechanism itself. It is only 3 years old. When I contacted the store they said there was nothing wrong with the chair. I have never seen a La-z-boy chair do this. Crap! I wish I could show you the repair they did. I am sure someone else has had this problem with the jamison recliner. It ripped out the zipper and put 2 gashes into the cushion. I paid 1800.00 for this and I am very sorry I did, I have a piece of crap furniture and they will do nothing!

We took delivery of our La-z-boy Manhattan leather electric reclining sofa through SCS in June 2014, having paid nearly 2000. We Informed SCS in Jan 2015 that the sofa had lost its support and was uncomfortable. SCS sent an engineer out. He said the sofa had settled more than he would of liked and proceeded to add extra foam. He refused to sit on the sofa before and after carrying out this work, saying he know it would be ok. The sofa wasn't ok. It was now also lumpy. The same engineer returned a few weeks later and removed the foam but would still not sit on the sofa, yet insisted nothing was wrong. We requested an independent assessment but SCS would not oblige. They sent a third engineer only for him to say it felt fine. He made us think we were imagining we had a problem.
We revisited SCS Derby to examine the same model sofa we had purchased. The difference to what we had received took us aback. The show room model was so comfy, it did not creak when you changed your seating position on it, which ours does. It just felt like quality, not old and rickety. We was led to believe this was what we was purchasing, not what we have received! We end up with a numb bottom if we sit on our sofa for any length of time. We are so so disappointed with the La-Z-Boy quality/comfort and the SCS customer complaints service experience. We wish to warn as many people as we can, what they might be walking into if you purchase a La-Z-Boy sofa through SCS. We are currently pursuing this matter with our credit card company.

I purchased a $1000.00 recliner -- leather. The one in the store was poorly made, but I was assured that mine would be perfect and if not, I could return it. Before doing the paperwork, I asked again in front of a witness to make sure the chair could be returned. I was told yes. I was not at home when the chair was delivered and the delivery men removed the tags. A month later the chair was leaning to the left! One arm had wrinkled leather... and I called to have the chair exchanged for one that was not a problem. I was told no. All that would be done is a repair.
When I asked if La-Z-Boy would guarantee that the leather replacement parts would match the original leather, I was told they didn't know!!! Now I just want my money back. As the credit card has not been paid, I will refuse the charge. They did make me initial the back of their form, BUT I never read it as their saleswomen never gave me the charge... she just explained it to me. Again, I asked if the chair could be returned... and was told YES. Poor quality, poor customer service. Not the company it used to be. Very unhappy customer that will never own anything with the La-Z-Boy tag on it again.

As I write this complaint at 11:40 am, I am waiting for a La-Z-Boy service person to show up at my house - so far he is 40 minutes beyond the allotted window of 9:00 - 11:00 am. My story began in September 2014. I inherited an electric reclining chair from my mother who died on 8/11/14. The chair is electric. When we got the chair home, we plugged it in and opened it to a reclining position. However, when we tried to "close" the chair, nothing happened. I have had this chair in my den in the open reclined position since September 2014. Here is the chronology of my experience with La-Z-Boy:
9/16/14 - La-Z-Boy service rep came to my house and diagnosed the chair as needing a new motor: $99 charge for this initial service call. 11/6/14 - La-Z-Boy charged me $362.89 for the new motor. 12/19/15 - La-Z-Boy service rep came to my house. Decided the chair did not need a new motor because the current motor worked fine. The chair needed a new hand wand. Charged $79 for this visit. Told us that he would order a new hand wand. Total money spent with no results: $540.89. 3/2/15 - I followed up with customer service and was told that the hand wand was backordered. The hand wand cost $151.16.
5/4/15 - Called customer service. They advised that they would email to get the status of the part and let me know. No response from from La-Z-boy. 5/14/15 - Called customer service again. Part was still on order. Rep said that she would refund the difference between the cost of the motor and the hand wand (refund would be $211.73). Instead, she charged my credit card again for an additional $211.73. So now I have given La-Z-boy $211.73 + $540.89 = $752.62 with NOTHING to show for it. The rep admitted her mistake and said that she would reverse the charges.
5/18/15 - Charges still not reversed on my card. Called customer service. Rep advised it would take 5 - 7 days for the charges to be reversed on credit card. The hand wand should be in the beginning of June. Someone would call me. 6/19/15 - No call from La-Z-Boy. So I followed up again. Part was in. Service rep could come to my house on Friday, 6/26. I would get a call on 6/25 with my 2 hour window for the rep.
6/25/15 - Call from La-Z-Boy. My rep scheduled to be at my house between 9 - 11. 6/26/15 - Rep did not show up between 9 - 11. I called customer service. The rep was "running late." He was just leaving his last appointment. It is now NOON and no one has shown up. I work full time but I stayed home today and missed an important meeting to wait around for La-Z-Boy. Their name has a new meaning for me. Based on this experience, I will never buy another La-Z-Boy product.

I had a good experience with La-Z-Boy. Their reps were nice, helpful, and cooperative - they worked with me. We had a special delivery problem, I let them know and then they were able to talk with the delivery people. They offered me an extra charge of $100 to deliver it but it was really a lot simpler than I thought. The ones who came took the thing up like it was nothing and they came through the window before you can say Alakazam. They asked for the extra hundred dollars and I gave it to them because my word is my word. They should have backed off and let me keep my hundred since they didn't do anything extraordinary - but that's water under the bridge. They did bring it in successfully and the service was very good.
I got the extra (better) cushion. I thought if you're going to buy a sleeper couch, it's got to be comfortable. The furniture has been with us for a couple of days. It's in our bedroom and I doubt that it will be used more than for emergency purposes. My son has spent a couple of nights on it though. He's a really finicky type of guy but he didn't complain. Hence, I'd recommend La-Z-Boy.

We purchased 4 Madeline swivel rocker patio chairs from Sears a few days ago. Delivery was quick, no issues. Assembly, however has been a nightmare. All the chair parts were made in China and NONE of the bolt holes line up. Some are off as much as 1/4 inch, and I have had to redrill, or wallow out, every one so far. It has taken me almost 3 hours to get the first one together and most of those screws are cross-threaded. I know my way around tools so this is not an amateur making amateur mistakes. The reason we bought these particular chairs is because they have a La-Z-Boy logo and to me that has always meant quality. To say I am disappointed is a gross understatement. I am just fed up with the crap companies are offering their "valuable" customers these days. Thanks for reading.

We purchased a couch in January 2015, waited while they "custom built it." Furniture comes in and within weeks the back cushion completely collapse. We contact La-Z-Boy. Their complete lack of concern for the customer was shocking. We explained the problem with the first rep we talked to, they take two weeks to get a tech to the house. The tech checked the model number and left! La-Z-Boy didn't have that info? Five weeks later the tech is coming to fix the problem. The tech calls at 12:30 pm to say he's going to be late, about 5:30 or 6:00 (really, six hours). Finally shows up at 7:00. We will never buy anything from La-Z-Boy nor anyone we ever talk to...

It was time to get new stuff due to my divorce so I purchased my first La-Z-Boy recliner. The sales rep was very informative and told me about all the different styles of chairs and helped me find one that will fit my needs. So far, I don't have any issues with the recliner at all.

We just received our La-Z-Boy chairs two weeks ago, and the couch a week after Mothers Day. I purchased them for my mom because she needed a new couch. We went into the regular store first and they didn't have what I wanted in stock. So we went to their gallery and the help was phenomenal. The manager and the woman there were very good. I've been in customer service for 35 years, so I do appreciate someone that gives great help. I love the furniture and the couch is really durable. I lay on it a lot.

I must say the store mgr was friendly and understanding. However, I purchased a new sofa from La-Z-Boy in late Feb for about 1,300 thinking this would be a very good quality sofa and I would be happy. Within a few wks the material started to wrinkle up - half way up the cushions and also in the foot area. NO ONE sits on this sofa - I sit on my recliner in the living room and live alone. A tech came over and took the sofa out and added more stuffing - not even the same material as what the sofa came with. The seats feel awful. The wrinkles returned within a day of getting the sofa back. I was told "this is a good performance material but not really made for the sofa you picked."
Excuse me? My daughter and I specifically told the salesperson I wanted a good quality material that would last. Got a call yesterday La-Z-Boy refuses to do anything further... I was going to purchase a chair from them but will not EVER buy anything from them again - I plan on putting the word out on social media to think twice about purchasing anything from them. So much for purchasing (made in the US). Hey I should contact David Muir at ABC as he is always promoting to (buy made in the USA)... Shame on La-Z-Boy - done with them~!

The sleeper sofa I bought has a fantastic quality for the price and the salesperson was very helpful. She didn't forget what we wanted, let us pick materials, and made sure what we picked matched the room. I had a great experience.

I recently bought tables and a sofa from La-Z-Boy - I was decorating a room and decided I needed a love seat. That was my 2nd purchase from them since I first did so around 15 years ago. The first girl in their gallery didn't seem that interested, but the second one that attended to us was really very attentive. She asked a lot of questions and showed a lot of things. She ended up showing us the set where the furniture we were looking at were from - it had a discount and that's what we eventually bought. The furniture's quality is excellent. I recommend La-Z-Boy.

I purchased a sofa last year in October and really wasn't satisfied with its quality and it took a long time for La-Z-Boy to finally listen to my concerns and did an exchange. The fabric that I had before was always shedding and there would be a lot of balls. They used to tell me that I needed to buy a fabric shaver. I said, "Why didn't somebody tell me this in the beginning?" Every time we turn around it was always creating pillars. No matter what we wear, how we sat, whatever the story might be -- there's a lot of controversy going back and forth.
How dare them tell me what material I should have on my body to sit on my sofa? I should be able to sit with any kind of material on my body. It went on for a while. It was in May when I finally got my new furniture and I ordered a different material. They also didn't give me the additional pillows that I needed. They didn't credit my account for the stuff that I sent back. There was a lot of drama before I finally got my credit. It was a real challenge.

All the chairs that we've gotten from La-Z-Boy had been wonderful and we've always had good service. The sales representative we talked to was a lovely girl. She was extremely knowledgeable about the merchandise. Because I didn't want to spend a whole lot, I told her the price range. She took me right to the ones that she had available and suggested that I open up a credit card. In that way, I wouldn't have to pay all at once. I did that and it was great because it was approved and I was able to pay it through the summer which I really appreciated. In addition, the delivery was fantastic. My husband is 86 now and I thought he had a heart condition. He sleeps all the time. That's why I got him the La-Z-Boy and now, he loves it. If ever you need beautiful chairs or furniture for your home, go to La-Z-Boy.

We bought a chair for La-Z-Boy, but we returned it because my husband was looking for something very particular, something that we've been looking for 10 years. The chair was very comfortable in the reclined position, but it just was not comfortable in the sitting position, and he realized that that was not going to work for him. It wasn't the right chair for my husband, and I'm not sure if he's going to find the right chair. He loves his old chair which is a La-Z-Boy and he had it for 22 years. And they just don't make them the way that they used to, and we weren't able to find one that's configured the same way.
Our experience with La-Z-Boy, on the other hand, was fine. The sales representative was good. He worked very hard with us to find us the best fit. He was frank with us about the pros and cons of the different products which I thought was really good. Also, the return process was very simple and I appreciated that. The delivery team were also very good. We really appreciate the fact that we had three days to make a decision to return. We are happy with La-Z-Boy. It's just unfortunate that we couldn't find the right chair.

My granddaughter destroyed my old furniture doing cartwheels off the couch so I purchased a sofa, power recliner, and ottoman from La-Z-Boy. I like their quality. The only problem is when I ordered the covering for the chair, there was no gold in that pattern. When it came back, there's a lot of gold in it. I thought it was gray. The La-Z-Boy store is very brightly lit with natural lighting so I was shocked and I looked at it and thought if they will recover it or take it back and sell it to someone else but probably not. I haven't painted my walls because I was going to paint part of it gray, and I can't do that with that gold.
