    We needed a sofa and table and recently purchased them at La-Z-Boy with a recommendation from my parents. They’d recently the service where they went in and helped them design the room, and that’s what we needed help with. It was helpful and it was a little off. That was why we went in and had a bigger plan but it was hard to fit the things that we chose into the room. Then I said, "I'm glad that we didn’t get everything ‘cause it wouldn’t have all been super accurate." But at least got everything kind of flowing, like creative juices and we really like the quality of the furniture.

    The delivery team were fantastic and great. They delivered on a rainy day and we weren’t quite ready for them personally. So they just kind of unloaded everything for us where we asked them to and then they gave us tips on how to unpack things careful so we didn’t scratch anything, and they layered things just so it wasn’t gonna bump our walls or anything.

    I have called and sent pictures of the torn furniture that I received on 11/17/15. I have left messages for La-Z-Boy Furniture in O'Fallon, IL to call me. Neither request has been responded to. Please look into this for me! I hate to take further action but after spending $4,121.61 on 3 pieces of furniture I will. Thank you for helping me with this issue!! I do work Monday through Thursday so I might miss your call but I will return it!! I would add the pics but being computer dumb I don't know how to get the pics from my phone to my computer, sorry!

    When we went in August and our salesperson was wonderful, he did an amazing job. She sold us a chaise, a couch set and a chair with a swivel rocker recliner. They said it could take up to ten weeks and we said, "Fine, that's fine." Then they called us ahead of time and said, "Your couch is ready to be delivered on September 19." We said, "Well, great. Early, how wonderful." So, they came on September 19th and delivered the chaise and the chair which had just the rocker raised. They said, "Sign here." And we said, "What do you mean, where's the rest of the couch?" And they said, "We have no idea what you're talking about."

    So, we called them and they said, "I don't know what happened but the love seat portion of your couch did not make there." We said, "Okay, but when is it gonna come? Plus the chair is not right." They said, "Okay, we will find out more." But we heard nothing so I had to call again. I talked to Patrick and he tried to work it out but we can only get Saturdays to be delivery dates. My husband has to get a Saturday off because he works weekends and gets paid a lot more money than he does during the week. He was really nice and said, "We'll order this swivel. We'll get it sent to your house. You call us immediately when it gets to your house. We'll send somebody out there." Well, I didn't hear from anybody and no swivel showed up.

    So, finally I called again a couple of weeks later and said, "You know, I haven't heard anything about my couch. Can you tell me more?" And they said, "Oh well, the love seat is ready to be delivered." And I said, "Okay. Well, let's set it up." So they set it up for a Saturday. I said, "By the way, the swivel has not made it to our house. It has been three weeks. You know, if you mail it from anywhere, it should be here by now." And they said, "Oh, we'll check into that." Apparently, it was at the store but they never called and never knew it was there. So, if I never ask, it probably would have still be sitting there.

    So I asked to speak to the manager. Then he said, “You know, after this all said and done, we’re getting the chair fixed and waiting for this to come.” And I said, “This is craziness.” According to the transfer, a couch did show up but it was never delivered and he apologized. This is three Saturdays already and my husband’s losing six hundred dollars in wages just because of this. I said, “I would love to for us to have some sort of a refund because this is craziness.” And then, I said, “We spent a lot of money, almost three thousand dollars of furniture.”

    But the manager never tried to call us so we went to the store. I said, “I would like to talk to the manager because my husband’s pretty upset. He wants to come in and talk about this. Let’s try to get it settled now." And she said, “I hope he doesn’t come in because I really hate to call the cops.” I said, “What?” I was shocked. I was appalled that the manager would even say this. I said, “You call the cops because you have unhappy customers that are waiting and their lives are being disrupted because we’re waiting for you to deliver furniture that we ordered two and a half months ago." I was not happy.

    Then the manager was very snippy and awful. She was like, “We’ll give you a hundred bucks.” I then asked for 600 dollars as we are losing wages. Every Saturday my husband’s late to go to work.So finally they got somebody who came out and fixed the chair on the day that we’re supposed to get the love seat. They then delivered our couch recently. So, it was three months in order to finally get it that we ended up having. It was ridiculous and my husband was so disappointed because when we stopped at La-Z-Boy, we thought, “Wow, we really made a good choice. We love the couch." But then it was an all over disappointing experience. They gave us two hundred fifty dollars for the refund and didn’t charge us for the swivel. We paid it upfront but then she said, “Well, we won’t charge you for this.”

    It was really sad and we weren’t treated nicely. I even called the owner and left a message with the secretary but he never called me back. So, it was all over unprofessional. We were trying to go for a high quality but this happened. I would have just told them to pick it up and I won't deal with this mess anymore. But I was very patient, I fell through a lot of this. I was never once mean. The furniture is nice now that it's there, but it took three months to do that. We could have gotten it the next week going from another company.

    The motor for the leg lift part of my recliner broke over a month ago. The whole experience has been bad. First you have to call one number only to be told to call another one to schedule someone to come out and repair the chair. The guy they scheduled for between 6-8 did not even text me until 9:30 to tell me he was not coming. He wanted me to take pictures of the piece that broke and send them to him and led me to believe he may have the part. He showed up the next evening, late again, and stayed maybe 10 minutes to take pictures of the chair and of the broken piece I had already sent him pictures of. I had to call the first number to see whether they had the part and after waiting almost 48 more hours (even though they say they will call back in 24 hours), they told me the part would be here on 11/18 and to call the other number to schedule something.

    I called them and they said they would not schedule anything until I had the part, so I pushed and they scheduled it for 12/2. I got the part 11/16 (the only good part about this) and called them again and they could get someone out on 11/18. This guy was also late, but not as bad as the first and looked at the chair for a while and then said he needed another part. He told me he would email La-Z-Boy what was needed and they would call me with whether they would replace the chair, come pick it up to repair it or send me a part. It has been a week and I have yet to hear anything. I have left three messages with Sandra ** and she will not call me back. So, here I sit with my legs up on a suitcase because my less than three year old recliner is broken and there is no end in sight.

    TO CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS: I have been a big fan of La-Z-Boy and its products, until recently. I've been a good customer for many years, and have been perfectly satisfied with your products. That's why it's difficult for me to understand the lack of service I've recently experienced. CASE: I have a Lift/Recliner with Back Heat, Seat Heat and Massage. This unit is one of a couple purchased for elderly home-bound relatives. One such chair exists in my home, specifically for holiday visits from my elders. A week ago this chair began to malfunction 'intermittently' (meaning all functions worked, but not always). I am retired, but having an electrical-mechanical background, I researched the problem and found an electrical short in the molded "Wand" male, 8 pin DIN connector.

    With the holiday approaching, I tried to purchase a replacement Wand locally, then called La-Z-Boy finding that parts could only be purchased online, I ordered a replacement Wand. La-Z-Boy does not permit overnight delivery. Knowing that I would miss the Thanksgiving day visit, I ordered anyway. I had visited my local store, and was told that the Wand was covered by a lifetime warranty, which it was not, so the order was placed. Knowing that the shipment would miss the holiday, I have attempted to a simple replacement of the Wands male, 8 pin DIN connector, BUT La-Z-Boy help, via email, online or phone has been nonexistent. No one in the entire La-Z-Boy Universe can help me with the wire color/codes for each pin. It will take me considerably longer to repair this 8 pin connector, but I can't believe that NOBODY at your company can help, OR that this kind of information is not available in this day and age.

    I personally feel that If We Can Put A Man on the Moon, somebody knows this information and/or can ship my new Wand OVERNIGHT. You don't make schematics or diagrams available online, OR to your stores, OR to your customer service representatives, and apparently, I'm told, to your service technicians. As a loyal customer, I would appreciate some help. THERE ARE 7 COLORED WIRES connecting the Wand to the "8" PIN DIN CONNECTOR. Without some help I could disable the control module. With 8 pins and only 7 wire, you could see my dilemma. Please email or call with the 8 pin designations, there are 7 colored wires (1 pin is obviously unused). Thanks in advance.

    I bought a La-Z-Boy recliner/rocker in Columbus, GA in 2000. The store I bought the chair in went out of business 6 months after I bought the chair (actually bought 4 of them).     We have purchased multiple items of furniture from La-Z-Boy over the years and have always been satisfied with quality and service. Until... we purchased our current sofa in January of 2013. The salesman told us that it was made out of something called "bonded or recycled" leather. We have had it for 2 years and 9 months and paid approximately $2000.00 for it. The "leather-like" fabric which we later found out was really vinyl is flaking off!

    I am extremely upset and do not think it is unreasonable to expect a sofa to last more than 2 years!!! I was told by the Houston area customer service representative that "there was nothing she could do to help us". When I asked to speak to her supervisor to discuss it further, she suggested I make a complaint on "la-z-boy.com" which I have done. I have always found La-Z-Boy to be a reputable company and hope they will do the right thing by replacing or permanently repairing our sofa. I am requesting a response to this post.

And, their decoration service was good but they had a very limited selection of rugs and they did not do curtains.     I purchased a recliner on 12/26/13. In the summer of 2015, I took my recliner in for repair. You could feel something in the seat that was not right and you could not sit comfortably. La-Z-Boy had my recliner for 3 weeks and did not repair it. Service Manager in Springfield would not return phone calls. I picked up my recliner and took to a competitor and had it fixed. I will not purchase another item from La-Z-Boy. I was treated badly and they refused to repair it.

    I purchased a living room set from La-Z-Boy in Katy, TX in mid August with the hope of having it in my home for Thanksgiving. I was told by my salesperson that my furniture could possibly take up to 12 weeks but that it would be in my home by the first week of November. A little before the first week of November I received a phone call from her stating that the furniture was going to take a little longer to arrive, but that I would have it by the first week of December. They offered to refund my delivery fee of $149, which they did.

    I recently called to ensure that my furniture would be here by the first week of December as promised since we are having guests over and I am taking some vacation time from work. I was told by a store manager that there was another delay and that I should expect my furniture sometime in mid to late December. I let her know that I felt this to be unacceptable and that I wanted for someone to help me either get my furniture sooner or I would be looking forward to a discount on the furniture, not just the delivery fee. She asked me to give her some time to investigate the matter.

    The next day I called and was informed that there was nothing they could do about the delay and since I received a great deal on my living room set no further discount would be given. I was not satisfied with that and asked her for a customer support number for La-Z-Boy. She told me she didn't know it! When I asked her what social media La-Z-Boy is on, she told me she did not know that either! When I asked her how long she had been with La-Z-Boy because I was surprised at all that she didn't know, she told me "long enough."

    I am very disappointed in the fact that not only am I not going to be compensated for the additional delay, but I am even more disappointed in the unprofessional manner that I was spoken to by a store manager. The Customer Care department told me that they would call on my behalf and see what they could do, but I was later informed that the store managers were not going to change their minds and that customer care was limited on the help they could provide me as each store is independently owned and operated. That was not the answer I wanted to hear. I feel as if I am no longer an important customer since they already have my money.

    I recently purchased a loveseat from La-Z-Boy and the sales representative at the gallery was nice. But the loveseat is of poor quality. It doesn't close all the way so we called a service guy. He came out and showed us what was wrong with it. He fixed it and told us to put some lift underneath but it didn't work when we tried it. It hasn't been working for two months.

    Another disappointed La-Z-Boy customer!! I agree with all the reviews here. La-Z-Boy does not live up to its reputation and the customer service and service technicians are simply unprofessional and rude. I purchased a leather recliner from La-Z-Boy 3 months ago. The stores was very impressive and also the sales rep was helpful and knowledgeable. 24 hours after delivery I noticed one of the arms was noticeably thinner than the other. I contacted customer service for a replacement and was told that they would charge me a 30% restocking fee but I could get the arm replaced as I had purchased the service warranty. The earliest they could get a technician to come in and take a look at the arm was 2 weeks so I scheduled the appointment. The tech took pictures, recommended that the left arm was indeed smaller than the right and made a recommendation to replace the left arm.

    He said that it would take a few weeks for the part to arrive and that once it comes in I must call and schedule an appointment for someone to come replace the arm. It took 6 weeks for the arm to arrive, even though it was not really a custom chair and the parts should have been easily available. I called to make an appointment and got one for 2 weeks later. The tech came in looked at the chair and the arm and now says that the right arm looks faulty and that I must call La-Z-Boy and arrange for shipment of the right arm, then once it comes in call back and make an appointment for someone to come in and replace it. Now it's already been 10 weeks since I've bought my $1000+ recliner and still stuck with a defective piece.

    When I asked the tech why didn't the person that had come in a few weeks back suggest that the right arm needed replacement he said that that's between you and La-Z-Boy. I said I would call customer service right now and talk to them if he could hang on for a minute, he started walking away and said he didn't need to be there and was just very very rude and started speaking in a very condescending manner. Is this the premium service that La-Z-Boy promised me when I bought this recliner?

    I could have bought the same chair for cheaper at another store but I wanted to see what the La-Z-Boy experience was all about and I can say now I am thoroughly disappointed and this will be my first and last purchase from them. I will come back and let you all know if and when this issue gets resolved but as of now, as most of the other reviews here, please look elsewhere for you purchase!!

    Was interested in purchasing the Kimberly recliner. Chair was a little snug so sales rep recommended the Jennings. She said the seat was a little bigger. Picked out the material and decided to go with the Jennings based on what rep had told us. This seat is not bigger than the Kimberly. Worse yet is the many gaps in the material. Sick to my stomach to think I paid $1150.00 for this chair. Should have known better after waiting 2 months for shelves to an entertainment center I purchased from La-Z-Boy on a previous order.

    I recently purchased a sectional recliner from La-Z-Boy since we have a new house and we wanted new furniture. I had the interior designer come in and she gave me different ideas. Then we went back to the store and we looked at different options. I ended up choosing something based on what she recommended. Their delivery team brought in the furniture and put it together. They weren't very long, so that was good. I'm happy with the quality of my purchase for the most part. The only complaint I have is about one other chair. But other than that, I'm overall very satisfied.

    I have had my La-Z-Boy furniture for about 11 years. Because of the condition it was in, I recently decided to buy a new one. I've got nothing but good to say. They were all great to work with. The sales rep was very helpful, knowledgeable, gave me my space when I needed it, and helped measure. I went with very specific needs and measurements, and the piece that I needed was sitting right there in the front door so we never ventured off. Also, the delivery team was great, courteous, on time, called me 30 minutes before they got here, and wore the slipper shoes. I'm very happy with the furniture, though a side of the section seems to not be sitting exactly as I had hoped for and the technician needs to come out and tweak that a little bit. Adam, the manager, was very helpful in some of the final negotiation point and he was great. Overall it’s been wonderful, fits good and relaxes well.

    Contacted La-Z-Boy back in August (2015) via email with my concerns. Bought a couch set (2 pieces) back in September 2014, the foam on the love seat backing and the foam on the seat of the couch is looking very worn. Being a year old and what we paid this is not what we were expecting. Please see attached for pictures and labels on the bottom of couches as you requested.

    No response, I decided to call your head office and they told me to call the store I bought it from. I was in contact with a lady by the name of Michelle who asked me for pictures and serial numbers, which I sent. I waited for a month and no one contacted me so I called back left messages and still no one called me back to follow up. So I called the head office and they said they would have someone contact me asap. Another lady called me, reviewed my issue and "are you ready for this?"

    "I had a chance to review your pictures and upon reviewing them I do see normal wear in the sofa and love seat. It is expected to experience compression and more so in a seat that is used more often or longer. As leather is a skin, some of the original comfort wrinkles can adjust as well. If you find you need more support in your back, we can send you some "blown fiber" - similar to the inside of a pillow so you can add to the back to your comfort level. There are zippers at the bottom of the back to do so. Let me know if you would like this and I can send that to your nearest store." By the way, I paid $6,000.00 for this couch set less than one year. Have a look at the pictures and you decide if this is good quality couches... VERY DISAPPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST!

    La-Z-Boy's sales reps were all excellent. They were very hospitable and very accommodating. One of the ladies even came out and measured my home, took pictures of the space area and was able to make some very good, ideal suggestions when it came to picking out my furniture. The delivery team was very good and they did a great job. There were no complaints or problems at all.

    I bought a new sofa because my other one was over 10 years old and it was starting to get stains on it. I didn't like the fabric and it was too big and bulky, so I wanted something more streamlined. It was fabric that I had on the previous sofa and I didn't want to have fabric again. I decided to go with leather because it's easier to keep clean and it looks more attractive in my home. The quality of the furniture is superior and I'm very pleased with the product, but I do need to call La-Z-Boy to have my double wide chair repaired. On the back where they put the leather backing on, the staples are coming loose and it's pulling away from the chair. But that's my only issue. I've had many compliments on the furniture from people who have come to my home, and they asked me where I got it and they were considering about going to take a look for themselves.

    I bought a LA-Z-Boy power recliner rocker in March and I have had back problems ever since. I cannot get comfortable in this chair. It has memory foam in it and I have to put cushions on it to get comfortable. I went into the store to buy a nice cloth power recliner and the salesmen talked me into a much more expensive memory foam rocker recliner which does not allow you to be in a sit-up position when you have your feet up and I cannot get comfortable in it. I am not sure what to do. I spent over $1000 for this chair and I think it is ruining my back!

    Updated on 12/07/2015: I put a review on a couple of weeks ago in response to a problem with my La-Z-Boy rocker power recliner which goes back when you put the seat up. I would suggest to anyone thinking of paying the high cost they charge for this chair that you think twice about it. It has caused me some bad back problems which started right after I started sitting in it and my salesmen never made me aware of the fact that this chair did not have 6 separate power positions as advertised due to the fact it is a rocker.

    I have written the company and they sent a technician out who says that this is a comfort issue which is not covered and the store told me they would give me a 30% discount on a new chair but would not take the problem chair back. I would think that a company that is supposed to be as reputable as La-Z-Boy would do a better job to make their customers happy when they have spent as much money on a chair as I did. My suggestion to you is to buy your recliner from a company that has more economic prices and a better customer service.

    I purchased a "urban" couch from McGregor's in Coralville. Also bought the coffee table and end table in the same group. The couch material started to frizz and the cushions started twisting within 10 days of getting my new couch. The arm of the couch got a big wrinkle and the arms also started to fray, but that took longer, about 3 weeks. Every time I get off my couch my cushions fall forward and have to be repositioned, not every once in awhile but every time I get off the couch.

    After lots of negotiations, La-Z-Boy sent me a new set of cushions but did nothing for the rest of the couch. This time, I knew better what to look for and within 24 hrs I could see the cushions twisting and the material began to fray. After much negotiations La-Z-Boy is sending new cushion cores. The material looks like hell and the rest of the couch looks old and worn out like I've had it for years and not a couple of months. The only thing I can think to do is buy a couch cover so my family and friends don't think I'm a moron for buying this furniture and never ever buy anything from La-Z-Boy again.

    My leather sofa has begun peeling and cracking. I contacted the Lexington store and was told to contact Customer care to get assistance. The store said my particular sofa is no longer sold because of so many complaints. Customer care has dragged on for two months with no response. I had to keep calling to get updates from EC **. I was finally told I was "out of one year warranty." When I asked about quality of material, I was told that "La-Z-Boy did not manufacture the material on sofa and not responsible." The best they could offer is to split the cost of parts and labor. I asked to speak with supervisor and was contacted by DJ. DJ has been with the company for a week and didn't even know his phone number or the information about warranty of replacement parts. Very disappointed with the poor customer service.

    I wish my experience had been much different. After being frustrated with the La-Z-Boy website (favorite fabrics did not work, my account was forgotten during a website upgrade, bad behavior across different browsers), I thought I'd go in-store to shop and buy. The pre-November website did have some nice videos touting the made in USA theme, but they are gone from the new website.

    The Veteran's Day morning crew at the Rockville, MD store did me very wrong. After gaining a seat at the ordering desk and working through some of my order with a salesperson (and a trainee), I told them I needed to trot over to the loveseat I was ordering to finally decide if I liked the reclining handle. On my way to the loveseat, I stepped around a couple who was lingering by the desk holding fabric swatches and tapping their feet. When I returned 90 seconds later to confirm my preference for the recliner handle, the lingering couple had taken my seat and was deep in conversation and swatches with the salesperson. I was ignored by the salesperson as I walked past the desk. The seated couple did acknowledge me after they smiled at each other in a bizarre gotcha like fashion.

    Not wanting to escalate the rudeness of the situation, I was there only to buy a piece of furniture, I sat on a nearby sofa until my sales woman came over, said she was "so sorry", and then took several minutes to find another salesperson to help me. The gotcha couple remained in my seat at the desk. I had to start from zero with the replacement salesperson. My frustration began to mount. Then contrary to a no-commission sales atmosphere, which La-z-boy claims it follows, the replacement began to try and up-sell me. After saying no a few time, the salesperson started to get it.

    After retraining this replacement on my loveseat features, I watched as the couple who had butted in front of me, finish their sale and proceed to walk out of the store. I finally realized I did not want to give my money to La-z-boy, based on the behavior of the sales staff. Just before the replacement swiped my credit card, I reclaimed it and said I needed to think about the purchase. It felt great to walk out of the store without spending the $2,600 on my leather, memory foam loveseat. Will I ever consider a La-z-boy again? Probably not.

    January 5, 2013 we purchased 2 power Lazy Time recliners and 1 Lazy Time sofa along with 7 other pieces from La-Z-Boy. From the get go we had problems. At first it was covered under the warranty so no charge to us. Since Jan 2014, I have had to call them out either 2 or 3 more times. Mind you there is only my husband and myself in the home. The mechanisms in the foot rest have bent and have had to be replaced. To make matters worse, my husband was pushing himself out of the chair and his hand pushed the foam padding through the frame. On closer inspection, the foam is held in place with cardboard! Next time we buy furniture it will not be La-Z-Boy! Besides the mechanism, the repairs are now out of our pocket.

I don’t want it now, but I’m forced to take it. I went over yesterday and they said, “Oh, your chair is here two days ago.” They told me it was custom made and I can get it.     We had a La-Z-Boy chair and a love seat from years and years ago. When we moved to this house 13 years ago, those things didn't work in the new configuration of the house so we replaced them with other furniture. But when we had the television room, the couch was very uncomfortable and we realized that we had always liked the comfort of the La-Z-Boy, so we went to the La-Z-Boy store and got what we wanted.

    At the La-Z-Boy store we were met at the door. It was the middle of the afternoon and there were a few people in the store. The gentleman said, "If you have any questions, please feel free to ask". We told him what we were looking for and he said, "Let me bring you to that area". We walked around, he did other things, came back, and said, "How are you doing?" I said, "Fine". A woman in the store came over and said, "Have you seen anyone?" We said, "Yes, the gentleman over there". And she said, "Good, I'm also available if you need anything". We were taken care of and it was very nice. When we saw what we wanted, we asked, "Can you give us information on this?" They gave us the price and recommendations about the sofa but there were two different types. One was motorized, one was just physical where one has to lean back and the feet come up. They recommended the motorized one and we're very glad that they did.

    Everything was delivered when they said it was gonna be delivered. The person who delivered, called twice, the night before and then the next day, an hour before they came. The sofa we purchased is not one of the more expensive items. It's only been a couple of months but everything worked out well. My wife felt that one of the soft pillow tops attached to the sofa was not equally filled as the others.There was no argument about it and they took care of it. I came home one day and there was a man there doing more stuffing. We're very happy and pleased with the very good experience.

    Bought a electric recliner out of the store for elderly parent. Found out that he couldn't use the buttons on the chair. La-Z-boy will not sell us the remote unless their tech comes in and installs it at a $600 plus cost. I also told the I wasn't concerned about warranty. They just refused. Except for the delivery that was supposed to happen Saturday and it didn't. I thought they were coming yesterday to drop off a pad, and they never showed up. So I have to call the store. It's just been a crazy day and maybe I had my dates confused. Other than that, the experience was great.

    I purchased the James power sofa and Love Seat about 5 months ago. After waiting 10 weeks for delivery, they arrived and were in horrible condition. The sofa had gaps between each section that were about 3 inches. Both the Sofa and Love seat recliners made so much noise that you would easily believe that they were 20 year old couches. The fabric on each section of the sofa/love seat didn't line up. They were horrible and looked like something that was purchased used from a classified. After two service calls and multiple parts being replaced, I now have to wait 5 business days for the technical team to "review" my case. What a joke. La-z-boy quality and service is horrible. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

    On 02/01/2014 we ordered over $4,000.00 worth of La-Z-Boy furniture, it did include a recliner that we picked material from the swatches attached to the floor model but it still had to be special ordered. On 04/25/2014 we finally got our furniture, after our holiday guest went back home, and long after we were promised delivery. Let me add that this furniture was our second set of La-Z-Boy as our first was 16 yrs old and we moved and wanted to start with new furnishings, the old furniture is in storage for our daughter when she moves out. We purchased the protection plan just in case even though we didn't have any problem with our old set.

    Within 6 months our daughter dropped her cell phone down the side of the cushion and it disappeared. The fabric down the inside was shorted of material and it had ripped off the staples causing a large hole. Upon further inspection I discovered a hole starting to appear on the other side of the couch. Then my husband's recliner had a board pop off its frame in the back. Due to having to move from the home we lived in at time of delivery due to black mold I didn't contact the store right away. In Sept. I called the Ft. Myers Store and reported the problems and was told to contact Guardsman and file a claim. I did this but I didn't have the to Guardsman pamphlet and read the website but didn't know I had to LIE when filing the report as to when the incident happened. They took almost a month to answer and then told me I took too long to report the incident.

    Imagine paying almost $1,000.00 for insurance that I can't use a broken recliner and a ripped couch. I again contacted Ft. Myers and they told me it would cost $69.95 trip charge plus labor to repair the furniture. I then contacted customer care and spoke to a very nice lady who was to act as a liaison between me and Ft. Myers Store. A month went by and I heard nothing from anyone. I called back and was assured that I would have an answer shortly. I got the answer that Ft. Myers was sticking to their answer because of the age of the furniture! Are they for real? I didn't know that I bought disposable cheap furniture. The first set lasted 16yrs, and is still very useable, and the second 16 months! So much for the La-Z-Boy Guarantee and Love it for Life!

    We did a special order on a Power Couch, Manual Loveseat and a Power Recliner XR+. The Couch and loveseat are great but of course not where I sit. I ordered this recliner by the one they had in the Showroom and it was not in by any means like the one there. The day after delivery I went back to store and sat in the Showroom recliner and it is not like the one I received. After doing as they requested, give it a little while to relax like the one in store. So I did. After giving time for this I called and they sent a serviceman out and I showed my problems with chair. He agreed with me about the neck support pushing out my shoulders, not my neck.

    After waiting for about 2 more weeks. I get a call back and complained further. They sent the serviceman back out again. Same story different trip. At this point he said give them 2 more weeks for a call. I was contacted by the Store at that point and told that the recliner after being measured meets all their requirements and there is nothing they can do about it. I am 57 years old and when I make purchases like Cars, furniture and most anything it has to catch my eye, but first and foremost it has the fit me. So sad that a business like La-Z-Boy doesn't practice Satisfaction guaranteed. Since I paid $1399.98 for a recliner I can't stand, and that is with cloth. Not even a leather chair.

    We purchased our La-Z-Boy recliner and couch and within the year I started noticing the accent thread starting to come off. Then I started noticing the leather start to crack and ripple. Within two years the leather recliner is absolutely unusable. I called at least five times, sent pictures two separate times, and still have not heard anything beyond that. My husband has been deployed for the last year and the set has had such little use! Now after three years the couch has started as well. Starting at the seams and working its way out. Only a matter of weeks until there's a million tiny pieces of leather scattered on my floor. Beyond frustrated.

    I purchased a loveseat La-Z-Boy because of the comfort it gives. The gentlemen who dropped it off were phenomenal. They did great in climbing up the stairs with that big piece of furniture. The sales representative was phenomenal too and very professional. He showed us everything that he thought we might be interested in, went over the different options, and stuck with us until we made a decision. The quality of the furniture is good but it was stuck - it wasn't going all the way down. They explained that it's a safety mechanism and it needed a minor adjustment because the pressure between the carpet and the leg rest was making it thick.     Two year old couch rear back support is made from 3/4 x 2 inch OSB. It was held in with two staples at both ends. It broke in the center and all the staples broke off. After hearing of an eighty dollar labor charge to correct this I fixed it with a 2 x 3, four screws and gorilla glue. I don't feel this was a materials problem but one of extremely poor engineering. Putting a bending load on OSB shows an inept type of design knowledge.

    I made the mistake of visiting the Sarasota, FL store to pick out the furniture. The sales lady was very helpful and wrote the pricing on the back of her card. After making several phone calls to her to place the order it seemed I always called on her day off. I work in Bradenton, FL and noticed that location during a lunch break. Their sales person did not agree with the pricing on the furniture I selected and convinced me it had to be a totally different brand. I asked her several times to call the Sarasota store and even gave her the location of furniture. She was positive it was the furniture she selected for me. Rough day at the store since they were remodeling and it was loud, messy and very annoying. I was in a rush and signed the paperwork KNOWING the sales lady would ask the Sarasota store.

    6 weeks later the wrong furniture and wrong color was delivered. They will not replace or admit the issue was a mistake. It is so obvious what happened and now they will replace ONLY if I pay $700 more, even though the Sarasota saleswomen agreed that the wrong furniture was ordered. All I hear is brand names was written down and I signed it. I visited 7 furniture stores that day and was very excited to see what I wanted at La-Z-Boy. I am extremely disappointed and will have to return the merchandise and fight the contract.

    Customer service is something I do every day in a apartment community in Bradenton. WE sign $15,000-$20,000 contracts daily and I do everything possible to keep them satisfied. It is quite obvious the La-Z-Boy family in Bradenton does not realize the concept. I am not paying $4,677 for furniture that does not match. Black leather with Weatherford entertainment center and end table (which is a white wash shabby chic driftwood color).

    Our visit was great! We had 2 guys that helped us out tremendously their names were Brian and Mario. They had a wealth of options and good opinions. They have a beautiful well decorated showroom and they are willing to stay late to assist with questions. No one is running home! They provide you with water and they have great deals during national holidays. But, they never give more than 25% off! Not even on black Friday. Be prepared to spend some $. Their lowest price item was $500 on clearance. On reason I wouldn't give 5 stars is because the women in this store are terrible. They don't smile AND look upset. Also, ask about free home decorating. We sadly didn't have time to get that with the deals running. We only had a few days to make up our mind. But, I would have surely taken advantage of that.

    I recently purchased a recliner from your store in Silverdale WA. I am not one to **, but I think that I received the worst customer service of my life from your local store. I purchased the chair on the 25th of Sept. and just received my chair today (11/06/2015). Approximately 3 weeks ago I stopped by to check on the status of the chair. The person that was at the counter at the time asked me who the salesman was and when I told him he stated that he would be in to work in a few hours and asked if I could come back. This got me a little angry and he finally conceded had looked on the computer.

    After looking at the empty space that my new chair would occupy for an additional 3 weeks I decided to stop by on my way home from work. I checked on status of my chair and the saleswoman said that it was in the back room (shocker). Evidently I was not contacted because my original salesman's wife just had a baby. Is it your companies policy that I can only deal with the person that sold me the chair or is it a local policy since only the sales person that sold me the chair is going to get the commission? To be completely honest I could care less, just curious. I also realize that I wasn't making a purchase that would furnish my entire home, but for $1141.34 I expected at least an attempt at a little customer service. Maybe I am asking for too much.     I went to the store of La-Z-Boy one time and the sales representative, Tiffany, was good in terms of showing me different types of chairs. I went back a couple of weeks later and made the purchase for my recliner. She was very professional, helpful, and answered all my questions. Also, the delivery team was great.     In April we purchased a set of La-Z-Boy Scarlett Outdoor Furniture from Sears. A patio set and a dining set. We purchased from La-Z-Boy because their quality has always been good. Not so with the outdoor furniture. A company called Brown Jordan makes the furniture and they put the La-Z-Boy name on it. When it was first delivered we noticed some wicker unraveling on a chair. I called BJ and they had me take photos and send copies of receipt. A hassle for sure. They sent me a new side arm which I had to have someone replace. Over the summer I kept noticing more and more unraveling of the wicker and pieces of wicker sticking up. The furniture was only 5 months old.

    I emailed LB and was told there was nothing they could do. I had to contact BJ. I called BJ and I would have to take photos etc again and they could send me parts. Are you serious? This is major work. I shouldn't have to rebuild a $3,500 set. And the screws on one of the swivel dining chairs keep coming loose. So if you sit in the chair and lean back you had better hope there is someone there to stop you from tipping all the way back. I have to tighten the screws every week. I asked BJ to just send someone to fix it all and they said that is not possible. To say I am disappointed in La-Z-Boy is an understatement. They do not stand behind their furniture!

    We purchased a sofa, loveseat and swivel rocker/recliner from our local store. We spent a lot of money, but figured the La-Z-Boy brand should offer more durable pieces. We even purchased an extended warranty from the Guardsman group. Within a year and a half, the dark brown leather began fading to a pinkish hue. We called our local store and they directed us to the company from which we purchased the extended warranty. Neither La-Z-Boy nor the Guardsman group would even send a rep out to inspect our furniture. Repeated efforts with both companies fell on deaf ears. Our furniture is now only 5 years old and needs to be replaced. I am so disappointed with La-Z-Boy quality and their failure to back their product. I am pissed that I was conned into purchasing the extends warranty which I was told would cover ANYTHING. We will NEVER buy from La-Z-Boy again. Absolutely one of the worst consumer interactions in my life.

    One of the reasons for purchasing our recliner a few years ago was the lifetime warranty that came with it. When we started to have problems with it recently and called to have it fixed we were surprised that while the parts were under warranty we would be responsible for payment of the service fee. Being that I'm handy I was able to reassemble the part that had broken and all was well... Until it wasn't.

    While recovering from a recent surgery that required me to sleep in a recliner (or similar position) the same problem reoccurred. However this time the part was so badly broken that there was no saving it. I called La-Z-Boy to see about having the part sent to me. They weren't able to find the part initially based on the part number because they aren't able to search that way. I was never given any paperwork on the parts or the schematic of the chair assembly so I did my best to describe it for the person on the phone. She was finally able to determine that it was the 3 position lock and the new one was on its way in the mail along with some hardware that I'd likely need.

    Less than a week later I received the part and compared it to the broken one. At first glance it looked right even though the part number was different and it was black instead of grey. I took the broken piece off and tried in vain to get the new part on. It wouldn't clip on the way the old one did. Upon further inspection the part was very different and there was no way that I would be able to get this part to work on my chair. Upset and frustrated I called customer service and spoke to the parts department about the incorrect part.

    The first thing I was asked was what lead me to believe that I had been sent the wrong part. I couldn't believe that they were implying that I was wrong or trying to pull something over on them. I explained that since the part number was different, it didn't fit, and it looked different. I was pretty sure that I had the wrong part. As a courtesy they were going to send me another 3 position lock. This time they looked up my chair (which I assumed they had done the first time as well) and were adamant that I would be sent a part that would work.

    A week and a half later I finally get the delivery and am beyond disappointed to receive the same exact part. I called the next morning. After 35 minutes on hold and speaking with customer service I'm told that someone will have to call me back while they look into it. I gave them my phone number since it was my husband's number on the account and wait a day and a half for their return call. Which of course went to my husband who works a demanding job that rarely affords him the opportunity to take calls during the day. They left a message and suggested that we send photos along with an email to their general customer service email address.

    The following morning I sent the pictures of both parts with a request for the right part with instructions or the opportunity to have the service fee waived and have a technician installed the parts. 5 days has passed with not so much as a generic response. We now have a chair the functions only as a chair and not a recliner. It's a good thing that I am recovered enough at this point where I no longer need to sleep in the chair...

    I would not recommend for anyone to buy from the La-Z-Boy store in Mobile, AL. We were told it would take for 4-6 weeks for our couch to be in. Almost 10 weeks later it still has not arrived. For the past 4 weeks we have been told, by the salesperson, it was shipping and that they would check on it. We have gotten that same response every time we have called. DO NOT buy from there unless you want to get all excited about new furniture only to have to wait 3 or more months for it and listen to excuses with no results from the store or customer service.

    I am so disappointed in La-Z-Boy furniture. I thought they were a company that produced high-quality products. Four years ago we invested in a leather recliner for Jim and a reclining bonded leather love seat for me (basically, two recliners). We bought an extended warranty on both pieces which covered the recliner for 5 years and the love seat for 10 and we're told that if our dogs jumped on the furniture and ripped it or if Jim sat down with a screwdriver in his back pocket and ripped it they would fix or replace it - they did not tell us that anything OTHER than an "accident" was considered "normal" wear and was NOT covered. I was so impressed by their warranty which is one of the reasons we bought from them. Well, where I sit and where my head rests (and pushes back in order to get the recliner foot out) the 'fabric' has disintegrated.

    They told us to call their service center, which had Jim on hold for 15 minutes after he explained what was wrong and they sent them to the warranty company that issued the extended warranty. They put him through the 3rd degree - asking a lot of questions - including if we had children or dogs and what medications I was taking (is that even legal??). They said my blood pressure medication is what caused the 'problem' of the disintegration of the material and was not covered by their warranty. I'm flabbergasted about the whole situation. The salesman was very misleading about the 'warranty' as I thought everything was covered and was not corrected when I stated same. Now, after less than four years, we are stuck with this horrid looking furniture. I really thought that I was getting a quality product from a reputable company. Guess I was wrong. I advise all of you to go elsewhere to purchase your furniture!

    I want to start out by saying that La-Z-Boy customer service locally and nationally has been very good. Unfortunately our Briggs sofa that has wonderful memory foam cushions and chaise is only a year after having been put in falling apart. The memory foam in the chaise area is falling down to the foot area. This is causing the integrity of the seat cushions to lose structure. The foam in the chaise is bunching up at the foot. I would love to have input from La-Z-Boy on how the integrity of this sofa can be restored? We so want to love our sofa!

    I purchased my new living room set from LA-Z-BOY valued at $7,300 the end of July 2015. The sales representative claimed that this particular set, the Grayson was their top of the line, as well as their best seller. He also informed me that it was very comfortable and reliable. I had informed him that I was a disabled veteran and that I was looking for something comfortable that would support my medical conditions.

    Now after 3 months the dual recliner is causing me additional back pain, leg pain and buttock pain. The chair in which I sit in the most, seating has compressed and is now looking older than what it is. When I sit upright my feet do not touch the floor, my buttock sinks into the chair and the cushions press hard into the backs of my knees. Once reclined, if I seat/lay in the chair longer than 20 minutes, my back, my legs and buttock starts aching. Also the threading on the seat starts to leave marks on my buttock and legs. For example, if you sit on a braided line for a long period of time, it will leave a marking/indentation. This chair is very uncomfortable and is causing me more pain instead of alleviating pain. This is unacceptable and unsatisfactory. I am truly upset that I have paid this amount of money for some furniture that I cannot sit on for long periods of time and that gives me bodily pain.

    I was under the impression that LA-Z-BOY was a reputable company with a long history of making quality as well as comfortable furniture, but I am mistaken. They claim to have comfortable products but this particular product is not. I contacted the store and they sent a repairman out and he stated there was nothing he could do. I then in turn went back to the store 2nd, Nov. 2015 and explained to the representative my issue and asked about a refund and/or exchange and he stated no to both. So now I am stuck with some expensive furniture which causes me bodily pain.

    We have two La-Z-Boy chairs and so when we needed a lift chair for my wife who suffered a stroke sometime back, we naturally went to the La-Z-Boy Galleries. My wife liked the model on display but they would not sell it, instead we made out and signed an order for one to be built for us. When it was delivered, it was much larger than the one in the store, so large in fact that my wife's feet would not touch the floor and was very uncomfortable to sit in, even for me. It had ridges that tended to pitch you out in the floor. When I decided to ask them to take it back and return my money, I was told there would be a 25% "restocking fee" which is quite ridiculous since the chair was not satisfactory.

    We love our furniture from La-Z-Boy. We felt their sales people were knowledgeable and listened to what we needed as well as our expectations for a new home.     Daughter bought me an Asher Reclina-Way Recliner from La-Z-Boy at Sawgrass Mall in Sunrise, FL for Father's Day. From day one chair would not recline properly. Service tech resolved issue, although it should of been discovered at the warehouse prior to delivery. After a few weeks, metal to metal grinding / rubbing noise when reclining. Service tech changed bearings and bearing brackets but did not solve problem. Tech said he would order the slide frame (where the bearings glide) and would also order new seat since it felt too weak / soft to him.

    After a few days, tech replaced slide and seat and adjusted some type of stop bracket but it did not solve the issue. Still grinding / rubbing noise. By this time recliner felt loose, had more "play" than from factory and my patience worn thin. Requested refund from store, gave me hard time and stated they replace and not refund. After a couple of days they agreed to refund, however not the freight. So I'm out $79.99 and still arguing with the store located at Sawgrass Mall in Sunrise, FL trying to get the freight charge refunded.

    If the recliner would of not been defective from the start, the service calls arguments and refund would of never happened. I looked at the quality of build when the recliner was being repaired and I would say it's cheaply built. La-Z-Boy uses OSB board (flakes of wood with adhesive pressed to make a sheet similar to plywood) for the frame and if I recall it was 1/2". Never will I buy another La-Z-Boy piece of furniture, recommend them to anyone or speak positive of La-Z-Boy store at Sawgass Mall in Sunrise, FL. These stores are franchises and have their own set of rules. It's a shame profit margins comes first and customers second.

    I needed furniture for a new room in my house so I bought a sofa and a chair and a half from La-Z-Boy. I dealt with a woman in their gallery at Jefferson Ave., Newport News, Virginia and she was awesome. She called me when the furniture had come into the warehouse and told me when and what time they would deliver.     My wife and I placed an order at a local Gallery in Salem, OR. The order was for a wing chair and ottoman. The item was on sale at 15% off the retail price. When I first saw the price on the invoice I thought it was on the high side. My family was in the furniture business of over 90 years and I worked in one of the stores for 15 years. This was one of the companies we carried, so I'm familiar with fabric grades and add-on pricing. One little known fact is that companies will make up different retail price lists when request by a store owner. This can be anywhere from an extra 5 to 20% above standard retail. I assumed a Gallery would use the standard retail price list

    One week later I was in a local furniture store and they carried La-Z-Boy. The catalogue was out so I looked up the price in their book. Retail price on the ottoman was $399, I was charged $579. If you count the 15% off I should have been charged $339, or almost 60% more than I should have been charged. One last item I want to cover the store told me there is a 15% restocking fee, even if the factory had not cut the item. I told the salesperson at the time of the sale that this was illegal and dishonest. When that bell was rung I should have walked away. Since this all happened within the last 10 days I am waiting to see how the company responds to this problem.

    For the third time in two months this store did not have and refused to get an advertised product at the advertised price. When I asked to talk to the manager, she was too lazy or didn't care enough to get off her butt behind the counter to even talk to me. They said the sale was while it lasts even though they emailed me one hour earlier with the ad. Additionally the only store that even had one floor model was in Columbus, Ohio an 2 1/2 hour trip. On top of it all I was once a furniture store owner and carried La-Z-Boy products. This wasn't their normal business practice 20 years ago. Also, they are advertising 50% off sales which is total unadulterated bologna.

    On 10/13/2015 the La-Z-Boy repairman came, within the scheduled time, to repair my reclining couch. He discovered that the frame and rails had broken. He had to order the parts to fix it. The parts would not be available for another 3 weeks and would call to schedule the repair when the parts were delivered. Apparently, he is the only authorized service for La-Z-Boy repair for the area which is why I had to wait for 2 weeks before he could schedule me which was after 1 week of trying to get him scheduled. This makes a total of at least 6 weeks from the time of my first call to La-Z-Boy about the problem to the time it MAY get repaired. I started this process on 09/24/2015.

    On 10/31/2015, I received a message from La-Z-Boy scheduling wanting to schedule the repair to my sofa – if I had received the parts. I called back and spoke with Linda who told me to call La-Z-Boy and tell them I had not received the parts. She said that the parts were supposed to have been shipped to me and that she had received an advisement to schedule the repair but, of course, could not do so since I did have the parts. I had been told on 10/13/2015 that the repairman would order the parts and would call to schedule the repair when the parts were received. I called the number that Linda gave me and, like before, had to leave a message and wait for a callback. This time I will have to wait at least 3 days since Customer Service is not open on the weekends. I left the message for Michelle.

    On 11/02/2015 Michelle returned my call. I was informed that the parts would be sent direct to me, that it would take 2-3 weeks for the parts to be received and that parts were ordered on 10/29/2015. Now, keep in mind that I started this process on 9/24/2015 and repair diagnosed my couch on 10/13/2015. It took over 2 WEEKS to order the parts. When I told Michelle that it was ridiculous that it took 2 weeks just to order the parts, her comment was "That just the way it happens."

    My wife and I went to the La-Z-Boy store in Gainesville, Virginia, where we purchased 2 recliners. The sale went through smoothly, I even opened a charge account, since we were planning to purchase more items later. But our trust in La-Z-Boy delivering on a contract has been destroyed. When the recliners finally showed up for delivery, one recliner was fine, the other was a used recliner, which was damaged, which the delivery people tried their best to hide. When I asked why they were trying to pass a used, damaged recliner off as a new one, they said it was a new recliner. They finally admitted the recliner was used after I said "really this is a new recliner, then kindly explain why there is red carpeting tuffs stuck on the bottom of the recliner's base."

    I refused the broken, used recliner, called the store, they took down my information, and said they would get us another recliner. The store called us back a day later and told us the only unit available was the store's display. They said it was not damaged, BUT they would not reduce its price. So they wanted me to spend another day off from work to accept the delivery, and pay the same for a used chair. NO THANKS. Which is why I instructed them to refund the cost of the used, damaged recliner, which they processed. So I ask you, would you do business, with a company after you have this kind of experience. I DOUBT IT.

    Two weeks after receiving delivery of two La-Z-Boy recliners, I leaned on the right arm of one and it broke almost completely off. Examining it I noticed that the manufacturer used cheap materials: the wood was mere particle board and the front of the arm was attached to the wood with either staples of brads. This was pitifully little construction to resist the weight of my arm leaning against it, so I do not wonder that it broke. But I am satisfied that it is to be repaired under warranty. My concern is what if it should break again in a year or so and out of warranty. I think construction should be more reliable. Consumer reports ought to hear of this and not recommend such a flimsily built product.

    When the recliner sofa was unpacked and set up there was an obvious flaw in the reclining mechanism on one side. The delivery people noted it and eventually we heard from the dealer who sent someone to look at it. He said it was not repairable in the home and would have to be replaced with a new one. That has been several weeks ago and no one has contacted us to say what they are planning to do or when something will happen. The sofa is usable and is not causing us any particular problem save that it does not look right because one side sticks out farther than the other and there is an evident gap between the cushions. It would be nice if someone let us know when the exchange is to take place.

    I purchased a living room set by La-Z-Boy called Oregon Trail, From Howell Furniture in Beaumont Texas, in 12-21-2011. In Aug of 2015 we notice that the furniture is peeling, called the store, is not covered, let me add we paid over $3500.00 for this set. It is what they call Renew Leather. My husband and I live alone and take very good care of everything we own, I think if you shop for a Name Brand like La-Z-Boy you would think the warranty would be longer than a year. And let me also add we bought the extended warranty for this purchase and was told it only covered accidents, ok let me get this straight. If I had a pen in my pocket and sat down and punched my chair they would pay, but if the quality of the purchase is not up to standards it doesn't. Will not buy from Howell again and will never buy La-Z-Boy brand.

    We shopped around a lot before finally buying at La-Z-Boy. Ran the gamut from budget to prestige furniture stores-- even department stores. In the end, we selected La-Z-boy for several reasons: NOT the lowest price but the best VALUE for the $$$. I'm a big guy and I needed a sofa and recliner I could count on for years of comfort. The budget stores (BDF, R&F, Ash***) had good prices-- that's it. Reviews of their furniture indicated that I would have issues down the line. As far as the prestige brands, LZB offers the same or better quality for less. My ex still has the LZB sofa and loveseat we bought in 1995!

    The selection of styles and materials is staggering! Why settle for whatever the other stores have in stock when for a few bucks more you can select from a myriad of materials. The friendly and helpful salespeople at LZB don't work on commissions so, unlike the competition, they don't hound you and try to push you into something so they can make a fast buck.     I have been extremely pleased with the experience of purchasing $8000 of furniture from your Naperville, Illinois location. I originally looked at the product at the Indianapolis, Indiana location, and upon relocating out of state, contacted the Naperville one. Theresa worked with me to "price match" the cost quoted in the prior sales market and I subsequently ordered the Collins Sectional.

    The delivery personnel were kind, EFFICIENT, and professional, using extreme care in moving large and heavy pieces into my home. I was interested in determining whether or not a similar set would be able to be placed in my basement (my other furniture would not make it around the bend of the staircase and walls) and the delivery movers picked up the largest of the sectional pieces and attempted to determine if it would indeed work. It did, so I subsequently ordered another sectional for my basement. Steve and Theresa assisted with that order and I couldn't be more pleased with the product, personnel assistance, and pricing, to concur with what I had originally found in Indiana in July.

    The La-Z-Boy reputation caused me to initially look at the product and I am confident that I will never have regrets that I did so. My prior large La-Z-Boy sleeper sectional (I had for fifteen years) is now in the possession of my college-aged son and he's thrilled.

They saw the tear and told me a replacement back would be sent via FedEx. I could install it (he showed me how) or he would return to install it for me.     This was my first La-Z-Boy purchase. We were replacing furniture that's 52 years old. When the cushions are hitting the floor, we decided it's time. The fellow's name was Ben and I believe he is the store manager. We went there twice. The first time, we just went to look around. We haven't been in the store and we wanted to look around and just see what was there. We had certain requirements because we're in an over 55 development and the rooms are much smaller than our previous house. So we just wanted to look around. And he showed us what he had and he answered any questions we had. And basically left us alone to browse and said, "if you decide to come back, it doesn't matter who you speak with because they're not on commission."

    So we went back. That was on a Sunday and we went back the following Thursday or Friday, and he was there again. And he helped us again make our final choices. There was a decorator there, they helped us pick out the color to go well with our couch. And we were very pleased with the attention and the time spent by this young man. It was an extremely good experience. We haven't received the furniture yet. They said we would get it between Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was a custom set of chairs.

    The reason we chose La-Z-Boy is it's an American-made company. It is made in Michigan and we're a very loyal and patriotic family. We drive only American cars and we buy only American appliances if we possibly can. And the same thing goes for the furniture. So it takes a while to look and to find what I want but I can find something made in this country that fits the purpose. I might pay a little more but that was one of our prime reasons. We researched it and made sure that La-Z-Boy was made here.

    Within a month of use we have noticed a discernible loss in seat and back support. As you can see in the photo we are now using cushions to compensate for the loss of height in the seat. Without the cushion the additional recline is forcing the backs to compress and the recline is further increased without the desire to recline. If this continues we will be looking at the ceiling constantly before too long. In the photos, please notice the difference between the more used seat and back and the inner less used seat and back. We did not expect this to occur so quickly as only two people use this sofa on a daily basis.

    I ordered a power lift recliner for over $2000 from the online site and received a confirmation email indicating I would be contacted within two working days for arrangement of delivery. The chair was in-stock. After over a week I started calling the customer service line. I gave up three times after being immediately placed on hold for over ten minutes. The fourth attempt I got a person after 12 minutes on hold. She told me I would be contacted within two days, remarkably like the email.

    I indicated if I did not receive a call I would cancel the order. No one called. I called a fifth time and actually got through with only 7 minutes on hold. That person told me they were told I was called by a Bob ** who runs the local store. That never happened. I called the store directly and they told me Mr. ** is off. They also told they had no way to access orders. I called the La-Z-Boy service again and unbelievably was told I would be called within two days. They would not give me any confirmation of the order cancellation! It is the worst customer service experience I have witnessed. Terrible company.

    I needed some new chairs as my old one is already 14 years old, so I went with La-Z-Boy. The sales rep was very helpful and friendly. He was not pushing and he let us have time to go around and look at anything we wanted. The quality of the furniture is 10/10, but my the footrest down by my ankle is rather hard and uncomfortable. When we scheduled the furniture delivery, the person that I had been dealing with was on a break, so another person took our order and she was very friendly. She told us that we would pay half down and half after we got the chairs, but that was not the case. They later on told me that they would not set up delivery until we pay the balance of the cost of the chairs, and I wasn't happy with that. When we have bought furniture in the past we have not been required to pay the full amount before we even get the product.Nevertheless, the delivery team were very pleasant and professional.

    Sat in the Greyson Rocker recliner and it was divine comfort. Purchased and it arrived a few days later. Within 3 or 4 days my wife reclined and she described the feeling of something giving way and a strong vibration. That evening I sat and reclined all the way back folding my arms behind my head. Without warning the chair tipped back hitting the floor. My wife weighs 150 and I weigh 225. Since I have some physical disabilities, I had to have my wife help me out and up off the floor. So we returned the chair and received a full refund. The staff at the Greenville, SC store was phenomenal. As for your product quality vs. cost, there seems to be a major cost vs. quality ratio issue. At this time, I would not purchase nor recommend La-Z-Boy products to anyone.

    We visited the Springfield Missouri La-Z-Boy showroom in late August, after having been to one locally owned and one other nationally known furniture store. We found the showroom much more understandably organized, and the assistance provided by the first salesperson to approach us was excellent. We were purchasing furniture for several rooms as we are building a new home, and were offered the free services of an interior designer to help determine if the scale of the furniture we liked fit into the space and some of the other furniture we already had. This service was invaluable.

    In addition, they took the colors we were already considering for the space, and developed several sets of coordinating palettes with their custom upholstery, including one which my husband immediately was drawn to. Our home is not finished yet, so they are holding our furniture in the warehouse until we need it. This has truly been a very positive experience for us, and we wish they carried bedroom furniture as well!

    Have had the cushion replaced twice now and each time the exact same thing happens. The second replacement was a much thicker one than the first replacement but had the same results. After frequent use the cushion "flattens out". The cushions are NOT FIRM enough! I am also finding that the chair seems to be leaning forward more than it should. I need to use a footrest in order to "lift" the front part of the chair a bit. Very disappointed and would never recommend it to anyone. It was not a "cheap" product but has given us "cheap" comfort! I will say that the service people have been very nice, courteous, and helpful. On the downside with service it takes way too long in order to get a replacement (6-8 weeks) only to find that after about a week you have the same results as the original one. Very dissatisfied--very disappointed. Recommending this type of swivel chair would be rated a definite "0".

    I was very disappointed with my recent experience with La-Z-Boy. My wife and I just bought a new house and we needed new couches and love seats for both our living room and our basement. The ordering was easy (I guess all you wanted was our money). The couches arrived as promised on the day they were suppose to. Since my wife and I were still moving things over to the new house, I didn't get to try out my new powered love seat in the basement until the next day. I pushed the button to raise the recliner and the button got stuck and wouldn't let me put the love seat back down.

    I called the La-Z-Boy store we bought it from (I think it is in Bloomingdale, IL) and I talked to a representative there. She said it was after hours but they would follow up the next day. I never heard back from anyone the next day. I called back on Sunday and talked to someone that said she would get a hold of the repair center immediately. I did receive a call later that day and they said someone would be calling me in a day or two to schedule the fix (mind you this is now 3 days after receiving a brand new couch that I only got to use for a couple of minutes).

    I finally got a call on Tuesday (4 days after my couch had been delivered). They said the soonest they could get some out would be the following Monday (another week later). I told them this was a brand new couch and why couldn't they get someone out sooner. The repair center was unsympathetic and just told that that was the best they could do and I would just have to live with it. Very rude and non customer friendly. I called back to the store and talked to another associate. At first they did not seem to be interested in helping either. They said they would call the repair center and follow-up with me. I never heard back from anyone.

    I am very disappointed with this experience. To spend so much money for a brand new couch and for me not to be able to use it for 2 weeks and 3 days from the time it arrived, it is unacceptable. I have a hard time believing that my wife and I will ever shop there. With so many of our friends also in the process of buying new houses and new furniture, I feel obligated to share this story with them as well.

    Purchased my furniture March 22, 2015. It was delivered on June 24, 2015. Furniture was filthy with wood chips and shavings. Drawer pulls broken and chair cover was not sewn correctly and was easy to spot. Called customer service and a repair tech came out on July 16, 2015. Parts had to be ordered. Began to call on September 16, 2015 to find out about my repair work that needed to be completed. Made numerous calls with no answers other than someone would email and try to find out when the parts would ship. On October 15, 2015 I received a call from customer service stating the parts were in. An appt was scheduled for October 29, 2015 for the tech to come make the repairs.

    I received a call on October 27, 2015 saying that my furniture would be picked up and taken to the warehouse for repairs on October 29th. I told the customer service person that no way was this furniture being pick up and taken away. I don't know when it would be back. After going around for awhile she put me on hold and came back and said the tech would come out and repair the furniture. I hope that the tech shows up and I do not have a lot of confidence that he will. This whole experience has been a nightmare and I truly wish I had never purchased this furniture. I must say buyer beware in dealing with La-Z-Boy. The customer is not treated with any respect or courtesy.

    I've owned La-Z-Boys since the day I was married 44 years ago, and bought a set of matching rocker/recliners from the Fort Myers store, about 1 1/2 ago. The material pulled away from the frames on both chairs down the seat. I contacted La-Z-Boy and they wouldn't do anything. I always thought they had a Lifetime Warranty on their chairs. They told only on the mechanisms not the fabric but apparently the fabric was cut too short that's why it pulled. I will never buy another chair from them again. They lost a good customer. Do we have any recourse??

    We purchased our Quinn sofa love seat and sofa on 2/9/13. This was our first La-Z-Boy purchase and might very well be our last. We originally decided on La-Z-Boy because of the "comfort" that the brand is known for. This furniture is anything and everything but comfortable. While we really love the look of the Quinn, we are extremely dissatisfied with this furniture. It feels like we are sliding off the front of the sofa and love seat when sitting on them and the cushions do not keep their shape.

    The amount of money that we paid for this furniture, I would expect the comfort to be much better. As a person with back problems, I would not recommend this furniture to anybody. As much as I hate the thought of getting rid of this furniture, I am seriously considering cutting my losses and purchasing new furniture from another competitor here in Tucson. I did talk to La-Z-Boy service center here in Tucson and they told me to take/bring the furniture to them to look at or I could pay $125 for a service visit. At this point I am very dissatisfied with the quality and service from La-Z-Boy.

    Updated on 12/26/2015: I received the new seat cushions a few weeks backs. Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue of the feeling that we are sliding off the front of our sofa/love seat. We are still having to constantly push ourselves back into an upright sitting position. The new seat cushions also did not resolve the comfort issue. The purchase of this La-Z-Boy furniture going on 3 years ago has left me very dissatisfied. On a scale of 0-5, I would have to give the La-Z-Boy name a 0. This was my 1st purchase of La-Z-Boy furniture and may very well be my last. This furniture was expensive and I thought with the purchase of this "brand", comfort would have been extraordinary, my experience with La-Z-Boy is anything but.

    We will NEVER buy from this company again. Ordered a $3,000 leather sofa, of which we had to wait 9 weeks for delivery. After delivery we found the recliner is so difficult to retract, you need to be an Olympic bench presser with your legs to retract the sofa. We have been ping-ponged back and forth between a customer service number and the showroom, and finally had a service tech come for all of 15 minutes and said, "There is nothing I can do. It will loosen up over time". That is your only answer to an inferior non-working product? Well it has been four weeks now and it hasn't loosened one bit. We will NEVER shop with this company again. We are pursuing legal avenues as well as the state's attorney general. Total failure in customer service. We have experienced "Not my problem, it's another department's problem" attitude from day one. Buyer beware.

    I'm a little unhappy with La-Z-Boy. We've got some leather recliners that we bought in the past and we were happy with them. We still have them. They've stood up over the years with no problems at all. But this recent purchase was something different. We were very impressed that we went to the store and they volunteered to come to our home and give us an insight on how to finish it, how to buy the furniture, and which colors to buy, but it's been a disaster. The colors are wrong. The tables are very strong and solid but they're too big for the room so it had to be sent back.

    We've bought a different house and our old furniture didn't seem to work out so we went to get new. As it turns out, it wasn't what we wanted. What made it worse was when we were at the store, we wanted to get a carpet but I didn't see any that looked okay so they said, "There's a store nearby called The Dump. You ought to go there." We made the mistake of going there because that store has everything for soup to nuts and anybody could be well satisfied. We made 2 trips. We ended up buying a thousand dollars worth of carpet and some more for rugs.

    I realized La-Z-Boy has got a reputation for the last hundred years of having quality furniture. But at the same time, you gotta have people who know what you're trying to do. They came here and took pictures, the dimensions, colors, everything, yet we still ended up being screwed up. And I realize, there was a case where we had to decide on what we wanted and it was the same as the things that he showed us were what we got.

    Lily helped us with the designing and she couldn't have been better. Their sales associates were always willing to help. I told La-Z-Boy that we have a few nicks and dents in the furniture that I would like them to clear up so I had an appointment set up. Then something came up so I can't meet the gentleman at that time. They gave me a time frame of 2 or 3 hours but my schedule was busy then, so I had it rescheduled.     I needed a new look in the room and I wanted something totally different. The La-Z-Boy representatives were wonderful and they had somebody come out to my house to help get an idea of my taste. She put together a board, I went in to see it and picked everything she chose for me. But I'm not too thrilled with their quality. I got a couch with push-button and the one side stopped working after a week. And the back of it is not stuffed enough.

    The other chair needs to be redone totally because the materials are wrinkled. They didn't smooth it down enough and then I ordered two pillows and they're totally misshapen. The people I dealt with were fantastic but I feel like I shouldn't have had a La-Z-Boy. They were said to have a good reputation and I had a lot of issues. They're being dealt with but it's gonna take a while.

    On May 15, 2015 I purchased a sectional for a little over $6400.00. You would think with spending that amount of money you would get great quality along with excellent customer service. Unfortunately this was not the case. In the first place I was told my order would be here in 8-10 weeks, it actually took 12 weeks. Once it arrived I had to wait another 2 weeks for them to deliver it. When they finally delivered it the SlumberAir mattress was defective. The delivery guy told me I would need a new one. To make a long story short it's now October 23, 2015 and I still don't have my mattress. I have had to sleep on the couch for two months now and have had four deliveries none of which went right. They don't even apologize for the inconvenience. The customer service reps are rude and inconsiderate. It's been almost 5 1/2 months now and I still don't have everything I ordered. So for high prices and poor service go to La-Z-Boy.

    We purchased our sleeper sofa two yrs ago along with the Ultra Shield Premium protection for 5 yrs. Purchase was a leather sofa to be placed in our guest room/husbands IT work room. As such, we rarely go into this room and guests have only used this sofa twice. We recently found a slight tear on one of the cushions. My husband was unsure if he placed one of his work/equipment bags on the sofa. So...I called La-Z-Boy about the tear and they referred me to Ultra Shield. I left at least 4 messages, 1 email and finally heard back 4 days later (now mind you, this needed to be reported to be reported within 5 days of the finding). They then proceeded to tell me they denied coverage -- mind you, coverage was for ANY and ALL tears, stains, etc. with the Premium plan we purchased.

    They stated because I did not witness the event, they couldn't cover it. Wow! I then called and spoke to Dan, manager in Middletown, NY location. I also told me there was nothing he could do. I was perfectly honest in that I was unsure if this occurred due to a work bag and because of this, they would not cover this nor offer any alternatives. Again, I was blown away. Perhaps I should have been like most and lied about what transpired.

    This sofa alone costs $2500. We purchased this as a leather sofa with the condition we would receive coverage for any mishap. I don't understand why the terms "any tear, or any stain" doesn't apply here. I am dismayed that La-Z-Boy, with such a well-respected reputation, could not provide adequate service. Customers should be made aware.

    We have purchased furniture from different vendors and was never treated like this. I even purchased an entire dining room set from Goldenarea Furniture locally and had a mishap with a little puppy gnawing the legs of the chairs and table--and you know what--it was ALL covered, no questions asked and free. They repaired and even restrained the wood. That is a model you should abide by.

    In July I ordered a recliner chair, the Fletcher, with a custom fabric. With all costs added it came to $1300 and was delivered in September. The fabric lines up extremely poorly and an outsourced employee was sent to respond to my complaint. He took pics, said that he felt it was fine. I never heard from customer service and finally called them this week. An hour phone call left me with the same msg - it is what it is - nothing can be done! Look at the picture - move the fabric on the seat cushion to the right about 6 inches and it will look much better. Why can't I get anyone to fix this!

    I purchased a swivel chair and stool from La-Z-Boy. Our sales representative was recommended by my aunt and cousin. She was very excellent, friendly, helpful, and a hundred percent of the reason why I went to La-Z-Boy and why I ended up buying the furniture which I've had since Saturday. It looks great and I love it. The pillows were just an add-on for me. They seem stiff but the chairs are great.

    I'm telling everybody about La-Z-Boy. I'm telling they got a crackerjack crew down there at Egg Harbor. They're awesome. Melissa came out to the house. She measured everything. I've never had a La-Z-Boy furniture and I'm sorry I waited all this long. I love it! I can do a jig on the coffee table and I don't have to worry about falling off of it. I called to tell them that the roller, when they delivered it, came off. But that's not a problem. The coffee table and the end tables are beautiful and the quality is there.

    And they know how to decorate the store. They make it inviting and comfortable. They make you feel like family. Every one of them were just wonderful. And for them to have Linda as the manager, she's really top notch. I'm telling everybody to go to Egg Harbor because they know what they're doing. They know how to suggest wonderful ideas and their ideas were unique. In fact, I'm waiting until I get some more money because I'm definitely going back to La-Z-Boy. La-Z-Boy is my store.

    On August 08, 2015 went to La-Z-Boy/The Woodlands, Texas/Conroe, Texas purchased a recliner for my husband. This was a special purchase (I chose Leather Fabric/black Color). Made large down payment & asked put balance on their store chg. Was approved, signed off to have the order sent to La-Z-Boy. From the beginning there was miscommunication. It was not brought to my attention once I placed an order, if there was any defect, La-Z-Boy would only repair the furniture you have purchased, plus I paid another $175.00 for Extended Svc and was suppose to received a Leather Kit, but did not receive. Now what happened after deliver of recliner.

    My husbands recliner was delivered ON 09/15/2015 and after they unwrapped the chair (had clear plastic wrapped around back of the recliner), I immediately saw where there was flaws in the stitching, the top of the recliner with the stuffing was flawed . Top of recliner was off 1/4 inch from one side to the other. The delivery men called and told their department manager (or whoever) and asked what for them to do. Told them since La-Z-Boy would send a tech out , to see what the problem was, I would accept the recliner, which I did. The tech came out on 09/10/2015, took down information and said he would give to his company.

    La-Z-Boy called said they would be sending a new back for the recliner. I was not pleased on this nor aware (my fault for not reading the back of the receipt), however, after having the recliner for 2 - 3 more days we noticed there were more flaws with the recliner. The leg rest being also tilted and wobbly. After these problems, I decided to go to store where I purchased my recliner on 10/12/2015, spoke with the manager and manager said La-Z-Boy people would have to decide on what to do. I requested for a totally differently recliner (which cost more) or my money back (my fault again not reading the back of the receipt, after this guess who will read to the end of a receipt).

    Manager said he would have to wait and see what La-Z-Boy's decision would be. Today 10/19,2015 I received a call from LEBCO INDUSTRIES and said they will be sending only a back for this recliner. However, I did forget to bring up the leg rest to them. I had already told management where I bought the recliner. I feel La-Z-Boy has not been fair with all of these problems. Thought La-Z-Boy was a REPUTABLE COMPANY. I will never, never buy another piece of furniture with name of La-Z-Boy plus will most definitely tell family and friends how La-Z-Boy treats their customers. I have purchased 7 La-Z-Boy recliners and their treatment on this problem has been a nightmare.

    I've had about six or eight La-Z-Boy chairs. I purchased a new one because although mine is not worn out, I got tired of looking at it. I had troubles with the first 2 that I bought. They were light blue and I had them for several years. It's not a problem with the chair itself but one turned all pink, not because it was sitting in the sun. If I did, I always pulled the blinds/drapes. Other than that, I don't have a problem. The sales representative was nice and wonderful. She told me how long the delivery would take. I like La-Z-Boy furniture and it's hard to find decent furniture anymore.

    My husband and I ordered furniture about eight weeks ago. We waited patiently for it to come in. today was finally the day of delivery. We were so ready to get our furniture especially the couch. My husband even called yesterday to make sure they knew to call his cell and confirmed the number. He was told they would give us a call 45 min prior to them arriving. So to make the story short: no one ever called. Finally my husband called them and was told they were at our house. We drove straight home annoyed that they did not call. When we got there 15 min later they were gone. My husband called the store and basically they told him we should have been home. They had not been gone longer than 15 mins. We asked they contact them to come back. They said they would, they did not call back so we called and were told they would be delivering it, we would need to reschedule.

    I spoke to Tracey, a manager and she said she would call the store owner and call me back. She did not. I showed up at the store and she said that the store owner told her they were not coming back. I could not believe that they screwed up the delivery but were not willing to make it right. She told me she could give our money back but there was nothing that could be done; the delivery people are on a tight schedule. I told her that we had just spent around $4k with them in the last few months and you would think they would try to resolve this. She said maybe they could bring it next Sat, another seven days later.

    I told her that was not acceptable, they needed to make it right. It was their fault that this occurred as they did not call like they were supposed to. I asked for the owner’s phone number to call, she would not give it. She texted him to call me; which he has yet to do. Basically I am so disappointed and frustrated. Once they get your money they could care less when and if you get your furniture. I will never purchase anything there again and we are long time customers. They do not care.

    This was my 7th piece of La-Z-Boy furniture and it will be my last. It took 5 months to receive (absolutely not acceptable) and the quality is extremely disappointing. It was apparently "worked on" before I even received it. When I notified the store (Houston, TX) that there were problems, I was told to contact Service. When I called Service they sent out a service tech who sat in the chair for a few minutes and declared it just fine. The RUDE Service person in Dallas then told me to contact the Store Manager if I still had an issue. Aside from the shoddy workmanship (which I didn't even address with them), I'm unable to sit in the swivel rocker recliner without pushing back with my feet on the floor to keep it from continually dumping me forward. The chair is not centered on the swivel base as it should be and when you sit down or get up it tilts forward and rests on the bottom of the footrest and arms (one arm is already creasing).

    After speaking to the store manager who was both argumentative and condescending, I realized that there would not even be an attempt at resolution for a long-time customer and I will never recommend nor buy La-Z-Boy again. I will definitely tell my friends, family and co-workers to STAY AWAY from La-Z-Boy. The quality is not what it used to be and their customer service is horrible. I spent $4,000 for a sofa and chair and I don't expect either of them to last very long. In addition, Lebco charged me $90 for the service tech to come out. I should have paid attention to all the negative reviews on the web!

    I just purchased a chair from La-Z-Boy the other day since my other one looked tacky. I wanted a La-Z-Boy because of the quality of their products. The chair I was replacing was five years old and worn, yet the La-Z-Boy chair I had in New York and here is probably 25 years old and is still in one piece. It got upholstery on it. There was a salesperson in the gallery by the name of Mark who was very helpful. We were trying to decide the color for the chair that would go with the couch and the pillows, and he spent plenty of time with us and helped us decide. He wasn't pushy nor forceful. They were also giving gifts at that time and the gifts were nice. It was glasses one time and a vase the other. It was nice of them to think of us. I recommend that place entirely. It was a very pleasant experience and as much as spending money is very hurtful, La-Z-Boy made it easier.

    We went into the Boca Raton, Florida store and selected a sofa and loveseat for our living room and even though La-Z-boy advertises in-home help with measuring and design we were never offered this service or any advice whatsoever. As a result when the furniture arrived we discovered that though the sofa fit our living room nicely, the loveseat did not at all and needed to be returned. I called the store the very day of the delivery, a Saturday, about this problem and spoke with an assistant manager, Eric, who was so rude I was in shock. He immediately raised his voice and said they don't do returns and if the loveseat didn't fit it was my problem. I asked if he could at least arrange to pick it up. He said again, "We don't do that" and that my salesman Vladimir had told me that and had also offered in-home service, which I explained was not the truth, and in addition our salesman's name was Bernie. He then called me a liar and hung up!

    I then called the corporate office. When I finally got someone on the phone, she said at first she couldn't help me, I had to deal with the store I bought the furniture from. I told her what had just happened with the store. She then put me on hold and called the store. Eric then made up a story, lying about our conversation. It was then determined we had to deal with their store manager on Monday, Daniel, to try to resolve our problem, and we couldn't do it over the phone. When we went into the store on Monday, Daniel wasn't even there and we were told to leave and come back the next day, Tuesday.

    When my husband went in yet again on Tuesday, both Eric and Daniel were there. Instead of the apologetic tone he expected, both men were nasty and rude, actually threatening to throw my husband out of the store! (Apparently they have no tolerance for my husband using the word "bullshit" when Eric presented his made up story, but have plenty of tolerance for lying and nastiness). In the end, La-Z-Boy did come pick up their loveseat, making us pay a restocking fee. Even though the couch is comfortable and nice, it isn't worth being so abused by the management staff. AVOID La-Z-Boy or at the least the Boca Raton store at all costs!

    We recently bought a home and had nowhere to sit, so we made our very first La-Z-Boy purchase. The lady at their gallery approached us and made sure that she could point out for us anything specific that we were looking for, then she stepped back. When we were ready, we showed her the models that we like and our concerns. After hearing them, she re-filtered our list and pointed out the two that she thought would actually work best. One of them was something we liked so we went with it. Then she actually pulled out every single fabric that we might be able to choose from, sorted by price. Next she pulled out the colors that I wanted to avoid, highlighted the colors I really wanted to keep, and from then on out it was like a breeze. It probably went from 20 minutes of scanning the store on our own to the next 10 minutes being done with every single selection.

    I was unaware that everything was considered a custom order, so it was tough since we had to wait for nine more weeks, not having anything to sit on. When the furniture were ready, the sales associate called and told me the days that they had available for delivery. I selected one and unfortunately they gave me a six-hour window when they might show up. That was another tough part, but at least I got to choose a date that worked for me so I could try to work from home.

    I got the chair, ottoman, and couch - they're great - but we didn't get our pillows yet. We've been waiting over ten weeks for the pillows to arrive. I've been in touch with La-Z-Boy probably about every other week, trying to figure out what was happening. They finally found pillows and now we should have them in the next two weeks, if they get them on the right truck this time. So the quality of the products and the store are great. It's getting the product that's the challenge.

    I made a purchase from La-Z-Boy because my old stuff needed replacing. I had a La-Z-Boy chair before which is now up in the office. We didn’t get rid of it. It was the only piece that was still good, so that’s why I decided to go with them for the rest of the replacement. Megan and Maria were extremely helpful and nice. I was in there so often and we got to be friends. It was a great experience.

    Working with the associates dealing with the delivery was fine. Unfortunately, I had to keep delaying it quite often. I purchased it back in January and didn’t take delivery until August. We had a lot of winter damage so we couldn’t get the furniture in the house for a while and they were very understanding about that. So far the quality of the furniture I received is good, although I do have an issue with one of the chairs. I already called to have the service call set up. Overall, my experience with La-Z-Boy was positive, helpful and fun.

    I bought a sofa and two chairs from La-Z-Boy. I waited 12 weeks for delivery of the furniture. Shortly after delivery, we noticed that one of the chairs had a tear in the fabric. The tear was hidden until the chair was reclined so we did not notice it upon delivery. We called La-Z-Boy and they scheduled someone to come look at it about two weeks later. We were told that they would have to order a part. It took nearly 3 months for the part to come in. La-Z-Boy called and told us that they would send someone to pickup the chair so they could repair it. In the meantime, we noticed that the other chair was already beginning to show signs of wear on the fabric. They inspected the wear and said that kind of wear is not covered by their warranty and they would do nothing about it.

    The only suggestion is to take a shaver to the fabric to scrape the worn areas. I have spoken to the local store, who referred me to the repair depot and then they told me that I would need to talk to La-Z-Boy customer service. When I called LA-Z-Boy customer service, they told me it would take 15 minutes or more for me to talk to a manager. They suggested that a manager would call me back in a couple of days.

    Over two weeks later I called again because they never called. The La-Z-Boy customer service manager basically told me that there is nothing more they would do. I asked to return the chairs and get a refund and was told that the LA-Z-Boy store I bought the chairs from is a privately owned store and they would need to handle that, yet the store claims that they do not handle returns and I must call La-Z-Boy for that. We are happy with our sofa but will never buy La-Z-Boy again. They are not willing to stand behind their products despite what the sales rep might tell you in the store. The sales rep told us that he has not seen that kind of wear on a La-Z-Boy chair in over 20 years.

    23 days ago I ordered new fabric and paid upfront for repair to repair a ripped section of my La-Z-Boy sofa. Even after calling every number they gave me I still have no verification on when the fabric will be delivered or even a receipt of purchase. The only phone call I have received is from the repair company (twice) to set up and appointment for fabric I do not have. All I have is my credit card being charged. This is very upsetting and I am now forced to handle the repairs on my own.

    I have a lot of stuff from La-Z-Boy over the years. I’ve had my couch and chair for four or five years. I recently purchased my third recliner because one of the springs of the two recliners I had gave way with it. It’s very horrible to sit in. Then I made a mistake the last time I bought the La-Z-Boy and had them put the memory foam in it. I got rid of that and bought another one. I didn’t call and do anything about it because I didn’t realize I had the availability in a year that if something goes wrong with, I can get it taken care of.

    The sales representative at the La-Z-Boy here in Vegas, Carla, was very nice. She showed me the chairs and had me try them out. She knew what my problem was and found me a chair that I like. I was happy with what the girl did. It's a little bit different in style but it fits me better. I can sit in my chair and I’m not leaning my head forward like I did in the old ones.

    Our $880 recliner frame broke the first week. When we notified Alan he said that because we picked it up we would have to pay an additional $50 for them to come 15 miles to get it. We felt we should not have to incur more expense on top of the $880 for a chair that broke in the first week. Numerous calls ensued. Alan refused to budge or even issue an apology for the inconvenience this purchase resulted in. As seniors it is difficult to get a truck and load the chair. Upon further review we noticed how poorly the chair was built and upholstered. This chair never should have left the factory but to not receive any support in rectifying the situation has been disheartening and frustrating to say the least.     I purchased a sofa and a recliner fromk La-Z-Boy but I don't have them yet. We had two chairs and a sofa many years ago and it was time to purchase new furniture. We have a Flexsteel davenport with recliners that kicked out on the side, and we were never pleased with it as it didn't measure up to what our La-Z-Boy furniture did.

    Their sales representatives were very nice. The only thing was when I looked at my paperwork, there was some miscommunication. I had gone in early August and talked with a young saleswoman and possibly buying a hide a bed along with the davenport. I thought she had quoted me a lower price and when I went back in September to look at the same davenport, I got a different salesperson and there was a sign on the coffee table also that said additional $1,000 for a mattress, and I questioned that.

    When I came home, I looked at my old paperwork and it had been written down additional $400 for a mattress. I was a little surprised because it went from $400 possibly to $500 for a mattress included as a hide a bed and then it was a thousand so there was some confusion there. However, I haven't called about it. I wondered if I should go in with the paperwork.

    The sales representatives were both very nice but the second young woman was very busy and she somehow managed to work between a couple of guests and kept us both happy by working with us and trying to resolve all of our questions at the same time. I like the fact that she was able to tell me how to correlate some of the colors with the davenport and the chair. She definitely showed me different features that I might like or not. She also said that they have an in-house consultation that you can have somebody come in and look at your rooms in your home. If we didn't have all of these going on, I would have said yes. I was excited that they were bringing out stores again where you actually found La-Z-Boy. If it's as good as it was years ago, we're going to be really happy with it.

    Two years ago, we bought from a different company and the springs in the furniture were already worn out so we purchased from La-Z-Boy new furniture. They're built a little more sturdy so that's why we ended up pulling the trigger in getting La-Z-Boy. I'm just leery about the springs because of issues in the past and I have a warrant on this. We've only had it for a little while now, but it's very good. The sales rep was very good. We did the in-home measurement and it was very helpful to me and my wife to be able to see visuals of the furniture in our house with the colors, the layouts and the options. They did a phenomenal job.

    Chair delivered damaged. When reclined back tilts to one side. Was not reported within 3 day period so La-Z-Boy will not replace the chair I paid for. Very poor customer service. Spoke to "Donato" so called Mgr at 800#. I paid for a new chair, I shouldn't have to wait for parts, production problems etc. Hung up the phone disgusted. I'm only asking for a replacement of a chair that was DELIVERED BROKEN!!! Probably won't purchase from La-Z-Boy again. Completely dissatisfied with problem-solving skills at La-Z-Boy customer service.

    The sales representative at La-Z-Boy was excellent and she put me in touch with the designer, Linda, who I primarily worked with on the design. She knows what she is doing and pushes you out of your comfort zone, which in my case is a good thing. She came to the house and we checked all the rooms and took pictures and then we went to the store. She pulled things out and we looked at them. We said yes then she came over and helped us save the room. We bought a couch and we're very happy with it. I do need to call them because there’s something happening to the couch that I need them to check out.

    I don't think it's high-end furniture, but we weren't looking to that. It serves its purpose, it's beautiful and has good quality. I also bought a big mirror for my son. They had a problem delivering my son's mirror but they took care of it including the manager. They were wonderful, friendly, and thorough. All of those experiences were absolutely fabulous.

    I'm having a problem with the loveseat. When you sit down, you hear a creaking noise. Nevertheless, the furniture has a good quality and hopefully, it will last me a long time.     We bought a new recliner from the Mentor store in July. When the chair came 8 weeks later I was the only one home. Unfortunately I accepted the chair. My wife saw it and immediately knew there was something wrong. Called the store and they told us to call Service. Called Service and made an appointment for someone to look at the chair. Two weeks later during the the service call, the technician said that the chair needed new head stuffing. He said that I would receive it in 7 - 10 days. 15 days later we still had not received the order. I call service again, and they said the service tech should not have told us that. The part had not even been shipped and would not for 5 days. It took almost 3 weeks from the second call to get the part.

    I then had to call service again to make another tech appointment. Two weeks later service tech comes, puts stuffing in and it is still in the same condition. He tell us that a new back needs to be made, and they will ship that to us in 7 - 8 weeks. This is totally unacceptable. We called the store to just pick up the chair. We were that there would be a 30% stocking fee. Having paid more that $1000.00 for the chair, the service has been horrible. Bought the chair in July, will not get the problem corrected until the end of November. I bought a chair no problems. My wife bought this chair and horrible, horrible.

    The salespeople at La-Z-Boy were very attentive. The first night I went with my sister, we got Chris, who was wonderful, and then I came back. I was running late that second time and Chris had gone but the manager and somebody else helped me. I bought a new couch and two chairs. Chris called me a couple of weeks ago to say that the furniture was in. So far, La-Z-Boy have been fabulous and I'm very happy with my experience. My sister is preparing to buy furniture in a couple of months and already told La-Z-Boy that she will be back.

    The staff at the La-Z-Boy gallery were very accommodating. We even had a situation where we had a scheduling crunch and had to have our little dog with us. They were very gracious and allowed us to bring our little dog in her travel kennel into the store so that we could do our business with them and not leave our dog in the hot car. We haven't received our furniture yet, it was a custom order. They said it would take six to eight weeks and I'm waiting for the ship date. I like their complimentary in-home design service. It was very helpful in deciding the size and color because they had a designer come out to the house, take measurements so that we could be confident that what we were ordering would fit in our space. It's an experience worth repeating.
