I had some furniture that I was getting tired of and decided to go with something different, so I purchased a recliner and loveseat from La-Z-Boy. The salesperson was very nice. She showed us around and answered all my questions. We had our items delivered, and the delivery people called me before they came. They came on time, were really courteous and did a pretty good job. The quality of the furniture we received is so far, so good.

I just got a bigger house and I needed to buy some more stuff so I bought a sofa and a power recliner from La-Z-Boy. The delivery men got everything in so it went fine. However, it was hard to understand the questions they ask because they didn't speak the best English. Also, I noticed that every once in a while, the power recliner makes a little bit of a clicking sound when I press the button to go off.

We purchased a La-Z-Boy sofa set in the Woodland for over $3,000, and have been very unhappy with our purchase. We bought this set based on the recommendation of the sales person because they were chiropractic approved and my wife has a bad back and we were told to purchase this set because of the lumbar support and 0 gravity features would help her lower back. The couch set on the showroom floor was great. It was like sitting on a cloud. However what was delivered to our home was very far from what we picked out at La-Z-Boy.
The day after we got the couches delivered we called them complaining and was told that the set we got was exactly what you picked out off the showroom floor and they would do nothing. Well the color we picked for the couch was a special order so I know for a fact it was not the exact couch set we Sat on at La-Z-Boy. The couch set we received was flat and the back support was non-existent. The set we received was very different from the one we tested on the showroom floor. So after calling 3 or 4 times they finally said we could bring them into the warehouse to have them looked at, so they filled the backs and now they really messed them up. The backs are hard and have made my wife's back worse. Her doctor has had her on more pain meds and had to give her a surgical injection, her doctor bills have doubled.
We replaced a La-Z-Boy set that we had for 10 years with this set and my old set is more comfortable! I do not know what to do at this point, my medical bills are piling up over this, we have had everything well documented. My wife's back condition can definitely be attributed to this new couch set. I do not want to take the set back to the warehouse in fear they might just make it worse, I want a replacement set! Our family and extended family have been very loyal to the La-Z-Boy brand every chair or couch in our house is La-Z-Boy, because this brand has always been top of the line. I think the manufacturing company they used in this situation is to blame not La-Z-Boy, but I'd really like this to be resolved!

My wife and I have bought La-Z-Boy all of our lives. We're nearing 70, and have always been happy. Approximately 10 years ago we needed to replace our old furniture so we bought a new La-Z-Boy Leather match sofa and love seat. We hoped it would last the rest of our lives. After a couple years the phony leather began to flake off getting progressively worse as time went on. Our furniture is now an eyesore! I've had cheap recliners in the past whose framework fell apart but the vinyl was still perfect after a dozen years! Obviously La-Z-Boy quality is now non-existent so buyer BEWARE. If you buy La-Z-Boy you're paying top dollar for inferior quality... and that's putting it mildly! I now tell everyone I know to avoid La-Z-Boy at all costs!

We have purchased all of our furniture from La-Z-Boy. We purchased a set a couple of years ago and now we purchased another set. They sent two wonderful gentlemen. They did a fantastic job and were very quick. The furniture is beautiful and we're enjoying every minute. The quality is great. We wouldn't have bought them if we didn't like their product the first time around. Wonderful experience and we would recommend them.
The negative thing was that when we looked at the floor model in the showcase, it was electric and we didn't want it. We wanted a handle. The person that sold us the items didn't specify the handle so what we got was the opposite. When I called to find out if there's a way that we could change it, they said no because of the way they're constructed. We worked it all out, but that shouldn't happen especially when you're dealing with older people who don't have the strength or the ability to maneuver that little plastic piece. My wife has weak hands because she has rheumatoid arthritis and she cannot maneuver the plastic handles to try to open up the La-Z-Boy. So now it has to be stationary open.

We moved into a new house and we needed to fill it. We bought a sectional from La-Z-Boy. The staff was wonderful, very helpful and patient. We picked and re-picked, and they didn't change once they had the things picked out for us. We had a really great experience.

1 rocker rocks perfectly, the other rocker does not rock smoothly. Service man came out and worked on it, same problem. The service department pick up that rocker on Dec. 29, 2015. They returned my rocker today, February 11, 2016, and it still has the SAME problem!! I was told, "Well, that's just how it is". This rocker is defective and I can't get any help!! What is my next step? The Better Business Bureau???

We've had La-Z-Boy since 1986. We got a new one because my husband needed a lift chair. The sales rep at the gallery was good and the delivery crew were great. We love the quality of our La-Z-Boy furniture, I just wish that the power ones would come with the swivel, but they said they couldn't because of the electricity.

I bought a new La-Z-Boy recliner about six months ago. I was moving into a new apartment, needed a good chair and La-Z-Boy has a good reputation. They're very well-built and I didn't want to buy a $200 recliner at Kmart. The reps were wonderful, very nice young men who took care of me and got everything set up. The day before the delivery, someone called me to confirm that the delivery was going to be for Saturday between one and three o'clock, and that was nice. Saturday morning, the person called me back and said that the drivers were running early and could deliver between twelve and two and they actually showed at about 12:30. The drivers were nice, and brought the chair up to the second floor for me.
The chair is very comfortable. It's great. The apartment I moved into turned out infested with bugs, so I moved out of there. However, it costs just as much to buy a new chair as it is to exterminate the bugs that are in the existing one so I had to throw out my brand new La-Z-Boy recliner and buy another one. Although it's unfortunate I had to replace it after only four months, it was still worth it. Excellent experience.

Many years ago we bought a La-Z-Boy love seat recliner. Why buy La-Z-Boy we were asked? We bought it for the lifetime warranty. I have now been waiting since July 2014 for ours to be repaired. I have had 2 service people come to the house. One time the wrong parts had been sent to me, so he couldn't do the work, and the other time, he was trying to do the repair and something else broke.
I am very frustrated with this company. They obviously don't stand behind their products or their sales pitch. I am not giving up on this but don't buy into the lifetime warranty sales pitch. They are just trying to wear me down I think. Every customer service person says the same thing when I call "Hmm... I see we are waiting on parts. Let me check into this for you"... for month and months and months. This will never reach upper management, but it should. I am in the customer service business too, and I know what it's like to deal with disgruntled customers. It's not fun. But our philosophy is "let's make it right and get our happy customer back." You should try this too.

I did two purchases from La-Z-Boy. I did one in November and the chair was horrible. The back didn't fit on it right. It was not built properly. And the woman that I was dealing with because the furniture was defective was horrible as well. Then I wanted to get my son a furniture for Christmas and I decided to redo my living room so I've purchased two more recliners and a loveseat but I haven't got it delivered yet. I would recommend the woman and gentleman that took over during the second time I was buying the furniture.

La-Z-Boy came highly recommended through several friends. We loved their reclining couch and recliner, and ordered a style that suits us. Love the recliner, but the couch's workmanship seems shoddy. The showroom model had a smooth armrest, while the one delivered had a large pucker and pulled stitches, and on closer examination several other flaws. They sent an assessor out and agreed to replacement parts. Since that was going to take 6 weeks, we asked for a replacement couch. It was just delivered and we refused it due to similar flaws plus a few additional ones. We await the service, and are hoping for a satisfactory result. Really surprised at the workmanship on this particular item.

This is our third time to purchase from La-Z-Boy. The quality of the furniture is good. We still have the original set from 20 years ago, but they were starting to come apart a little bit. But we kept them up in our bonus room. The second set we bought was just the fabric kind and didn't hold up well compared to the original set so we decided to replace it. This time, we got the one that they call their standard fabric, and I suspect it will hold up like the original set did. Overall, interacting with their sales representative was very positive. When scheduling the delivery, they let us pick the date we wanted. The gentlemen who delivered the chairs were very cordial and did a great job. Everybody at La-Z-Boy was very helpful and congenial.

We had two recliners that I bought at Ethan Allen for ten years and decided it was time to get new ones, so we purchased two recliners from La-Z-Boy. Their sales rep was very good. She seemed to know what she was talking about. I had to leave while we were discussing it, and she said that she would get all the information and figure out the numbers, and get them all to me by the next day. She did and had everything so I went ahead and placed the order. We had great delivery guys. They set up the recliners and checked over them to make sure that there were no problems. In terms of quality, though, at first, I wasn't sure. I thought the seat was very hard, but now that I've been sitting on it for a while, it's comfortable.

My first La-Z-Boy purchase lasted so long I was able to stretch it out for more than 25 years of use. I purchased again from them and got four power recliners. The sales guy that I spoke to was very good. I was quite shocked that I was going to spend $8,000 as I’ve never spent this much for four chairs in my life. But they sold me on the quality and the guarantee. The other manufacturers that I was looking to buy from only guarantee their product for three years with an extra payment, but La-Z-Boy gave me five years, so that increased my confidence in their product. The sales rep was very effective.
The delivery personnel was obscenely late, but it’s because his truck broke down. La-Z-Boy did give me the option of delivering it the next day but I waited for him instead. Things out of our control happen. But he was a great guy, did a good job and made up for the lateness. It was a good experience. Also, I was impressed with their little kiosk where I could get a credit account just by putting in my own information. I like that because I don’t like everybody in the world to know my social security number, and the amount of money that I make.

After owning and loving a La-Z-Boy rocker recliner for over a decade, I recently purchased a custom-made La-Z-Boy Conner recliner rocker. It was delivered a week ago, and though the color, microfiber, and mechanical operation of the recliner are perfect, the lower portion of the backrest is woefully understuffed - especially compared to an identical showroom model that I based my purchase on. As a result, the recliner has almost zero back support, and even though I am only 32-years-old and in good physical condition, I can't sit for more than 10 minutes without back pain.

We've had La-Z-Boy furniture in our home for 15 years or more. We got a couple of old recliners that we've even passed on to some relatives. My daughter also got one and one of my wife's daughters too. They've been in the family for a long time and we recently purchased two recliners from them before Christmas. My wife is short and she's had a hard time finding a chair that will fit her so that her legs got to the floor. They happened to have one in the store there in Grand Rapids and the saleslady made sure the chair fit properly. Then they were having a sale and I asked her, "Well, what can you do for us if I bought two of them?". 'Cause we have a cabin up North near Travis City and she doesn't have a chair up there that's all that comfortable. So we ended up buying two chairs and the lady did a really nice job.
We picked up the items because I have a pickup with a cover. We also took the other chair to our cabin up North and it wasn't any problem because they're easy to move around because the backs come off. The chairs are very good. I've got two chairs that we've handed down to family and they're still using them. And then the two we have right now we've only had for a month but I'm happy with them so far.

We had some recliners that were old and worn down and we wanted to replace them so we went to La-Z-Boy to buy 2 recliners. They had some good stuff there. We were greeted when we came in and the sales rep showed me what we wanted in terms of style and color and was there with us whenever we needed any help or information about the chairs. She wasn't pushy but she's new and unfamiliar with ringing it up. A co-worker helped her with the transaction and ring up. Everything went smooth and it was an enjoyable experience as far as purchases go. They're good at checking over the sales receipt to make sure everything was right.
When the chairs were delivered, the delivery team was very personable, set the chairs up where we wanted them to be and put them together for us. We didn't expect to get the recliners until a couple of weeks from when we got them. They're a couple of weeks earlier which was nice. They all did a good job and we got what we wanted. It was a good experience and we would recommend them.

Long story - Purchased 10/03/15, took delivery as expected. Delivery people were great! Fabric looks fabulous! Then I sat on the couch. It's like sitting on a trampoline and looks like an overstuffed basketball on second look. The cushions do not have any "give" like the store model. I went back to the store for comparison and of course the store model is so comfy - one of the reasons I purchased it. The matching chair is the same - so uncomfortable. Also, the ottoman to the chair is about 3 or 4 inches shorter and noticeably smaller than the chair so you're not reclining at an even keel. The chair is enormous, almost too big for our room - there was no floor model to review.
Had 2nd repair tech over yesterday (no record of the first one ever coming over) and he delivered 2 new cushions. They are a little better but still most uncomfortable. Hence, we don't use that room anymore. We also purchased two expensive swivel rockers. They are super comfy but the skirts on both were uneven and the pleats were a mess. Repair tech fixed that yesterday. Repair tech said in his 1st report he suggested La-Z-Boy contact us but never heard from them. I am so disappointed in La-Z-Boy! Have purchased multiple pieces from them previously. I'm told refund is not possible so looks like I'm out a whole bunch of money. Would be happy if I could just start over.

My two recliners are no longer functional, so I purchased a sofa, a sectional, and a recliner from La-Z-Boy. My sister has gotten furniture from them in the past, and she had recommended them. It was my first time purchasing from La-Z-Boy, and I really liked the sales rep because the one thing I don't like when I go into stores is that they have somebody jumping all over me. I was able to go in and look around, I asked her some questions and she showed me what I was looking for. She was very good at providing the information I requested. I basically went in there, chose one, and I had my family come up and check it out. They let me take home the fabrics and told me I could take my time on deciding what I wanted to do. She was very helpful.
However, when it comes to the furniture being delivered, I'm doing so for the convenience, but also the fact that I ordered it in the electronics and if you don't have it delivered and set up, it voids the warranty. There's no choice. But apart from this, I like the comfort, the style, and the warranty of the items. I also like the fact that I could order them in other fabrics and I didn't have to pay a different store for that. I had a great experience with La-Z-Boy.

I recently purchased a recliner and a couch from La-Z-Boy. It was time to purchase new furniture for me because of the $200 piece of crap that I had and I finally got a good job. My interactions with their sales representatives had been extremely pleasant and laid back. There was no pushing and it was actually a really good experience. I scheduled a delivery for my furniture. They called and both times was at the beginning of the ETA and it was perfect. The furniture has a very good quality and it's at par with the cost. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

I just purchased a sectional, table, accessories from La-Z-Boy. I thought it was time to get new furniture when I gave my furniture away because my son moved out. The interactions I had with their representative were very good, they took time to pick out stuff that I wanted or matching with my accent. I had the furniture delivered and the delivery team was prompt and very good. I had them rearrange the furniture a couple of times and they didn’t mind. The furniture's quality in relation to the cost was good. They were made well. But I’ve only had them for a short time, so we’ll see.

I'm 80 years old and I've had some of La-Z-Boy's furniture at one time or the other for the last 40 years. Then I bought furniture that wasn't from La-Z-Boy and it was a piece of nothing, so I decided that when I'm going to replace it, I would go back to La-Z-Boy. So I bought a recliner from La-Z-Boy recently. Its price is a little high, but everything is high these days, and I would pay a fortune if I got it at the end of the year sale. I got quite a best offer that's somewhat they were originally asking. But the sales representatives at the La-Z-Boy gallery were very nice and it was a very positive experience. Scheduling my delivery was great. The reps called me and said they wanted to bring my furniture out. In fact, they wanted to bring it out two days before I took possession of it, but I had something going on and they very well changed the schedule to meet my plans. I love the quality of the furniture I've received.

The sales rep was very pleasant and excellent. She did a great work with me. I also had the home decor girl come out and she was very good too. They gave me ideas and we perfected some things together so that the items would look right. I'm a retired fella so I'm on a budget. I'm holding off a little bit so I get some more money. I purchased a chair and accessories, and my only problem is it's taking so long to get my pieces. They got them in different stores. I could go online with different companies with the same manufacturer of the tables and they said they could have it shipped within 3-4 days.

The sales rep at La-Z-Boy was very nice and supportive. My furniture hasn't been delivered yet. They said it would take the course of eight weeks and they will call me when it's ready. Anyway, everybody at La-Z-Boy was pleasant.

I had a wonderful experience with La-Z-Boy. My old La-Z-Boy had broken so I purchased my second La-Z-Boy and a couch to match. I’m 73 so I bought one that reclines automatically. I liked the old one, but I like the automatic even more because I feel the quality is better and I can put it in any position and take my nap, too. I also bought a couch which my son and grandson love. The pillows were all late, but it didn’t matter. Their salesperson helped me all the way through, and the girl who came out and brought the colors was very helpful, too. They were both great. The delivery guys were fantastic. They took my old stuff to the garage, and they were a little early - they called me and said they'll be in in 20 minutes but they came in 15 minutes. I haven’t had a nice experience like that in a long time with delivery people and people at the store.
So I'm completely happy with La-Z-Boy and have recommended them to my friends. My girlfriend went there before Christmas, she got the heater and the vibrator, and she had a fairly good experience, too. It’s also nice that they have short couches because my friend and I are shorter people; I’m only 5’4”. When I walked in their store, I told them that the reason I’m there is because they have a couch that I can touch the ground on when I’m not reclined. It was very important because short people can’t reach the ground on the recliners in most places. I hope they don’t take those couches out of stock.

My whole experience with La-Z-Boy was absolutely great. I recently purchased a sofa loveseat and some accessories from them because I needed new furniture. The rep at the La-Z-Boy gallery, TJ, was very helpful and everything we expected happened. Everything also worked out very well in scheduling our delivery. We had a minor delay because we were out of town, but they took care of it. They held our furniture till we got back. The delivery crew were great guys and very nice. I love the quality of the items that I purchased. I would definitely visit La-Z-Boy again.

We moved and we wanted everything new, so we had to buy new furniture. La-Z-Boy was fantastic; they were awesome in every way. A designer came home, helped us out with the design and help us in putting up the furniture with the design together. We bought living room furniture, a couch, a sofa, a rocking chair, a side table, a tray, some pillows and an ottoman which we use as the coffee table. They all look pretty good so far and I haven't had any problems. The delivery team was pretty sophisticated. They came in and put everything together fairly quickly. They just stopped and came up or did where I wanted to, so it was a no hassle delivery. It was a fantastic experience overall.

My old recliner bit the dust and La-Z-Boy sent us a flyer for promotion and that's what started the whole ball rolling. The new recliner was a special order so I haven't scheduled the actual delivery yet until I get the phone call saying it's ready. The young lady that helped us through the entire process and couldn't have been more helpful as far as explaining everything to us, helping us pick out fabric and features. She was great and a sweetheart. I couldn't have asked for anybody nicer.

I have been a devoted customer of our local furniture store (Smith Village, Jacobus, PA). We generally prefer La-Z-Boy products and have purchased several sets of La-Z-Boy living room furniture and a number of recliners over the years. I have just learned that La-Z-Boy pulled all of its furniture from our local furniture store because they are opening a La-Z-Boy Gallery store in York, PA. Smith Village has been a La-Z-Boy retailer for more than 40 years! I think this is despicable treatment and I will no longer purchase La-Z-Boy brand furniture. Since I am forced to choose, I choose my local furniture store.

We decided to purchase new furniture from La-Z-Boy since we recently moved into a new house. We purchased a sofa, chairs and an ottoman which all looked and felt great. When we walked in the store, obviously overwhelmed, we didn't know what to look at and John the manager was very friendly and even recommended that someone come to the house and measure for us to make sure we were getting the right thing. Then Jasmine came in, measured and recommended some furniture for us and was really nice. They were very helpful and weren't pushy, which was the best thing about it. They made us feel like we were the only ones there, so it was a great visit.

I had a wonderful time with La-Z-Boy. I bought two reclining chairs and a sleeper sofa plus pillows from them. Me and my husband had a La-Z-Boy furniture several years ago and we liked it, that's why we went back to them for more. The sales lady and the designer spent a lot of time with me and helped me decide the colors - the fabrics were beautiful. Both of them even made a trip out to my residence to make sure everything would fit in. They were very patient particularly since I'm not a person that makes up my mind fast. They also had good suggestions. It was a wonderful sales experience.
The sales lady said the delivery would take 10 weeks but it took a little longer than that. It's funny because I had purchased the sleeper sofa for when my son visits but it came two days after he left. I had to go through a lot of other stuff which I have time for since I'm single in an apartment - I was in no real hurry - but I think it does take a long time for the furniture to be delivered. If I had known it would take so long, I think I would've purchased off the floor wherein the furniture would've been sent by the next week after purchase. It took time but I wanted to make sure I was correct with what I got, and I am. The furniture fit beautifully in my living room. The quality of the furniture is beautiful. However I cannot push hard enough for the 2 chairs to recline, but a strong man could.

La-Z-Boy brought in the wrong quarter piece but it wasn't the delivery people's fault since the piece was apparently mislabeled at the warehouse. In the end, they got it fixed and they waived my delivery charges. All-in-all, it's a good experience since La-Z-Boy did the right thing to make it right.

My dad purchased a chair from La-Z-Boy so he can sit on it at my house. He is older and can't get up and down so he needed a chair that would help him get up. The salespeople were very helpful in pointing us to exactly what we came in to look for. They didn't try to sell me anything additional that I wasn't looking to purchase. It was a good sales experience overall. The only issue I had with the delivery was they did not call the day before to let me know that they were coming. I happened to be home when they showed up. My father has not come over to visit so the chair hasn't been used a whole lot so far. But I've sat on it several times and it seemed fine.

The foam from my old La-Z-Boy recliner was worn out and it was too complicated to get it replaced so I decided to get a whole new one. The manager at the store was great. La-Z-Boy told me when it would be there and it was there on time. They delivered it to my house in a few days which cost $80. It was strange though that I could pick the product up in the store in about two weeks for nothing. I thought they tricked me into buying the delivery but anyway, the quality is excellent and they're built to last.

We took a lot of time to shop and research furniture and decided on two La-Z-Boy chairs. We special ordered them and waited 6-7 weeks only to have them delivered and both of them be defective. We took pictures and went to store to the manager who called for a technician. We waited for him to call and make an appointment and we are waiting for a replacement cushion and for the defective assembly to be corrected by the technician. We spent a lot of money and to get something that is defective from the get go is very disappointing. We spent almost $3,000 for two chairs and ordered in September. It is February and we still have two defective chairs. We feel they should have been replaced!

I've been to Levins and Ashley. La-Z-Boy is not even in their league -- it's way above. I also like the fact that La-Z-Boy sent people out. The interior designer came out and she had some fantastic ideas. The sales rep and the interior designer worked together, made suggestions, and kept me posted as to when my order was going to get delivered. They really are a team at that store. I changed up my whole decorating thing because of the interior designer and I am so pleased with it. The delivery crew were excellent too. They stopped and carefully brought it in, put the sectional together, moved it to where my husband wanted it placed and they made sure before they left that everything was great. Apart from the sectional, we got an ottoman and some accessories, and I like them a lot in terms of quality. The entire experience has just been really positive.

I purchased a La-Z-Boy Bradley model 44762 Executive chair on 1/7/16 from Staples. Box did not contain any wheels. Immediately called for replacement set (confirm #**). After 3-week wait, called again on 1/29/16. Waited on hold for 35 minutes. Woman said they had "warehouse problems". Promised me an email with tracking #. Still waiting for email or wheels or ANYTHING.

We love the chair we special ordered. There was a small tilt on the chair seat and when we called about it, La-Z-Boy was right on it. They sent a technician to check it out and he has ordered a new seat to correct the tilt. We will happily buy our next chair from La-Z-Boy.

We wanted a chair that is more comfortable for our mother who is already 94 so we decided to buy a lift chair from La-Z-Boy. The reps were good, accommodating and handled everything well. We were happy with them. The delivery crew were prompt and moved the old chair for us. Then, they installed the new one and gave us directions on it. My mother is happy with the chair though she thinks it moves a little too slow and the heater wasn't as warm as it could be. Nevertheless, it was a good experience and we'd go back and refer. But, they could trim down on their prices.

Our 19 years old La-Z-Boy couch has a broken spring, and I didn’t realize that it has a lifetime warranty so we decided to change it. We went to the La-Z-Boy Gallery on Black Friday, there was a 50 percent off sale and we got taken care of very well so we decided to purchase some power recliners and a sectional from them. After we purchased our new furniture, they told us that we can get our old couch fixed because of its lifetime warranty so we’re now in the process of getting it fixed. However, I spoke with the technician more than a week ago and he said he was going to order the part, but he has not communicated with me yet so I don’t know what has happened.
On the other hand, the sales rep and the delivery crew were wonderful. It was hard to schedule the delivery because we are so busy and we're not at home even on Saturdays. We had to reschedule only one time, and it worked out really good. The delivery guys were really wonderful; they even helped me look for the sticker on the old sofa to give the technician the information he needed to be able to order the part. And I’m really happy with the quality of the items we purchased. Our whole family came over and they loved it. They were thrilled now that it’s ours. It was a wonderful experience. I’m looking forward that it’s going to be gorgeous in a few months when we can replace the part of one of the recliners so that it’s cordless instead of with a cord. It was overall a wonderful experience with no complaints.

We ordered a Greyson Power Leather Rocker Recliner on 8-27-15 and it came in on 9-29-15. We had to drive 1 1/2 hours to pick up. We had to return it on 1-27-16 with a broken weld and bent parts, another 1 1/2 hour drive, and now are waiting for parts and will have to make another 1 1/2 drive down and 1 1/2 back to pick up. La-Z-Boy will not replace with new one or offer any adjustment. Want to order additional furniture but not at this cost.

I ordered the manual handle recliner which I found a little more difficult to open than I imagined. The fabric did have a slight odor which took about one month to disappear. I do love how comfy my chair is and would order another one but next time with the remote and a different fabric.

We’ve got good experience with La-Z-Boy. We had a recliner that my wife thought we needed to get a slightly different color and it was a cloth recliner and she decided she wanted to have something that was a little bit different. So we looked around at different recliners in different places and La-Z-Boy seemed to have what we like and it was at a reasonable price.
Everybody that we encountered with La-Z-Boy was absolutely superb and outstanding. The salespeople from the retail store were extremely helpful and informative, showed us everything that we could possibly imagine and basically made it very easy. They even told us to come back if we have any more questions. The delivery crew were within about five minutes of when they said the earliest time for delivery would be. They were very helpful and were willing to carry the other recliner we have down to our basement.
We’re probably going to go back to the store and ask a little bit about some of the adjusting, but the furniture itself is extremely good and we’re very happy with it

We recently replaced our old La-Z-Boy loveseat and recliners and I had great interactions with their sales rep and delivery people. It was nice that they've let me know about the delivery the day before. The quality and the things that they have available to buy are good. I love La-Z-Boy.

We needed new La-Z-Boys because my husband had to have back surgery and our old La-Z-Boys are broken. They were the overstuffed version and broke within the first four years. I called La-Z-Boy to have it fixed and it cost $75 to just send a guy out here and then would cost on top of that to get it fixed. I couldn’t put my feet up anymore, but I love sitting in it because it was comfortable and rocked. We wanted new recliners that would go back by electricity so that my husband wouldn't have to use his arm to do it.
I bought 2 recliners and a sofa. The sales rep was good and took us all over the store showing us different things, had us sit on the stuff and then showed us the lines. The delivery team was very courteous. They moved our old chairs out, put them in the other room and showed us how they come apart. They brought the new ones in and set them up, and put them exactly where we wanted them. They crawled around and plugged everything in which was hard for them to get because they're big guys. But they did it without complains and took all the wrappings and papers with them. There was no mess.
The only thing we weren't pleased about is that when we got the couch, it wasn't the color we thought it was going to be. It's a weird green and doesn't match our house. The chairs aren't also as comfortable as our other chair because these are less stuffing, but they lay back nice and we enjoy that part. But I missed the cozy feeling of the chairs gave me when I sunk down in. We like La-Z-Boy. We're hoping the mechanism on the chair lasts a little longer. We already gave the old ones to my niece and she loved them.

La-Z-Boy is wonderful. I had them in mind in the first place, but to be fair I looked around and saw what else was out there. The La-Z-Boy rep was very helpful. At first, I chose the rocker recliner. I looked around and said I'd try to find a couch that would be comparable on my own. I chose one and they said they have the matching chair, but on the floor it was in leather. They said they could get it in anything I want to match. So we ordered up and it was delivered quickly. The delivery personnel were very helpful, clean and orderly, and handled everything very quickly so everything was good. I'm very glad I got the power recliner and the couch. They’re ex4cellent. I was very happy and I would recommend La-Z-Boy to anybody.

We bought a La-Z-Boy reclining sofa and love seat two years ago. Within the first month we had to have four cushions and two footrests replaced because of poor quality fabric and foam. After spending two years of fighting with La-Z-Boy to fix all of the other problems (sagging springs, creaky frame, worn out foam, etc.) we just decided to scrap both pieces and go with a quality brand. It's sad, La-Z-Boy used to be quality but it's all crap mad in China now. Never again!!!

We have been extremely pleased with the store (Scottsdale-Camelback) but not so much with the quality of our sofa. They have tried to help as much as they can but we wouldn't recommend our reclining sofa re: comfort or quality. Just not what we expected for the name and price. We do highly recommend the furniture gallery and service people who have come out.

October of 2014 I purchased a La-Z-Boy sofa and love seat from a local furniture dealer. The day the furniture was delivered, I wasn't thrilled with the quality. The bottom of the back cushions weren't fully stuffed (as you can see in the pictures) the fabric on the foot rest was buckled but I figured I'd just live with it. After about four months of having the set, the fabric started to ball up. As time went on the furniture was looking worse and worse and I didn't want to live with it anymore, so I called the store where I purchased my furniture and they sent someone out to "shave" my sofa and love seat. After they shaved it, it did look a little better but not for long (you can see just how bad it looks in the attached pictures.)
I called the store again and this time the manager came out. He was shocked when he saw how bad my set looked. He didn't even bother to shave it this time. He ordered new seat cushions for the love seat and sent the old ones back to La-Z-Boy assuming they would see how horrible the fabric looked after only nine months of use and offer to replace the whole set. Not a chance! They said it's completely normal for fabric to peel and charged $200 plus for the replacement cushions! Thankfully my local furniture store paid for that! I spent over $2,500 on this furniture and it looks old and ratty after only a little over a year’s use. The service we received was excellent. We weren't approached immediately, which we like, had time to scope the place out. Our sales rep. Jordan was helpful, he did not pressure us. He answered all our questions. Customer service ladies were also very kind and explained everything to us. Overall La-Z-Boy is a great place to shop.

We didn't have any furniture and when we got tired of sitting on milk crates, we decided to buy furniture from La-Z-Boy. We bought a sofa loveseat, sectional, and ottoman. Everything was very good at the store and during delivery. The reps did their job right and treated us well, and the delivery team noticed something with the sofa and brought it to my attention. Afterwards, they had somebody come up to fix that. However, one recliner already is broken, and we've only sat on it once. They're coming out to fix that as well. But apart from that, everything was very professional.

We bought a new house and needed two chairs so we purchased from La-Z-Boy. Their sales rep was nice. She came out and helped me pick. The delivery team was fine but they came after two months which is a long time to wait. Nevertheless, I love my chairs because they're beautiful and the quality is good.

We ordered two Conner recliners, and they arrived earlier than expected. The chairs are very comfortable, and we hope to get years of relaxing pleasure from them. After your crew was finished with the setup, I was disappointed to find that one foot was missing, causing a wobble. I called service and requested the foot, and they said they would mail it to me. This oversight should have been found at the factory, or at least the setup team. This minor item could have been easily avoided.

We loved the sales woman that we dealt with. We bought a $10,000 sectional and two chairs. We went to La-Z-Boy because we thought it would be a quality item. In less than two years every recliner handle has broken off the sectional. They of course are covered by a warranty BUT you must pay labor costs, $109.00. So for my $10,000 sectional I can expect to pay $100 every two years for maintenance because they do not put a quality handle on the recliners. I am disgusted. Never, never again.

I got a whole living room set from them - chair, sofa and an ottoman. The girl in the gallery was very helpful and went out of her way to rearrange furniture to make it what we were looking for. To date, though, I'm still waiting for the delivery of my purchase - it's supposed to be here already. But it was good overall and I've recommended La-Z-Boy to somebody else.

My wife and I purchased a chair and a half for our family room. It is a beautiful chair and very comfortable. The staff at La-Z-Boy were excellent. After the purchase we received a 20% coupon towards the next purchase. We went back to the store to decide to get a matching ottoman or a power recliner for my wife. The sale prices were so good plus the 20% discount. We bought the recliner and took it home. It was uncomfortable. After 3 days we returned it. The staff bent over backwards, happily helping us return the chair. That is excellent service! We'll be back.

I bought furniture from La-Z-Boy five years ago and when I needed a new chair, I went to La-Z-Boy again and got a power recliner. They were very helpful and knowledgeable in the gallery. But then we had a problem on delivery as there was confusion with their computer system on name, phone numbers, addresses. We’ve been waiting and waiting for my item to be delivered only to find out they were trying to get ahold of me because their computer pulled an old phone number up that didn’t exist. But I got it all straightened out and once we got that all squared away, we scheduled the delivery and it went very smoothly from there.

The chair was very comfortable in the store. When it arrived at my house there was a very noticeable wrinkle in the arm. Additionally there seems to be no padding at the ends of the arms and very little on the inside of the arms so you feel the wood frame poking through, which is quite uncomfortable. I don't feel the padding in the chair will last. Would not buy again.

We purchased this furniture after a house fire. We purchased it in 4/14, but didn't move into our completed home until 9/14. The furniture is amazingly comfortable. We have been very happy with one exception. On one side of the love seat on the inside of the arm, down beside the cushion, there has always been a very sharp place. We assumed it was an upholstery staple. When cleaning, I have to be careful to remember it is there as I have cut myself on it. I recently discovered that the sharp place has now ripped the upholstery on the side of the seat cushion. This is quite disheartening as we are beyond the warranty. I don't see how the fact that it took 15 months to rip the upholstery should be held against us. It makes me very sad because I love this furniture.

After waiting for five weeks and 3 phone calls to La-Z-Boy about a part for warranty repair, today was the worst experience yet. I had previously been made promises on two earlier calls to let me know the status of part and never received that call back. Today I was treated to an absolute rude phone conversation and put on hold for ten minutes when I asked to speak to someone else. This company had no problem immediately charging my credit card and having me wait with no information on a delivery date.
When I inquired as to what was a reasonable time that they would usually ship this woman acted as if I had no right to ask that. Well I do!!! The best part was I was on a speakerphone at work and three colleagues heard this woman's rude rant to me. All agreed that La-Z-Boy was not a company they would do business with after what they heard. So I hope they remember that. Eventually word of mouth for bad customer service will catch up to you! Shame on you at LA-Z-BOY. I used to think highly of your company.

Leg on chair scratched when loading it in the van. Manager very helpful, said she would order new one. Claims or warranty dept called 4 times, insists to have a photo even though the manager of the store was the one who called in as she had seen it. When I told Maryam in warranty dept I could not email a photo she insisted I bring the leg in to prove it was damaged. Will never shop at La-Z-Boy again and will pass the word on.

Our furniture was in bad shape so we bought a recliner and sofas from La-Z-Boy. Delivery guys were great, they came in, showed us how to put it together, how to change its settings if we need to raise them so it won't rub the carpet, and answered the questions we had. This was my first time buying from La-Z-Boy and it's a splurge for sure but I think it's good quality and I like it.

Sales personnel and store very nice. Product not so much. Recliner cushion and back worn and compressed after only a little over a year of use. The recliner was purchased for my wife after surgery and being unable to sleep in bed used recliner in accordance with doctor's instruction. Store was contacted and service contractor came out. He indicated that recliner cushions were only good for 4 hours use per day and nothing could be done. He indicated La-Z-Boy would contact us but we've heard nothing. We probably will not purchase products again.

I have enjoyed a recliner for over 25 yrs now - so it was time to get a new one. I have arthritis and find only the recliner is comfortable and reduces pain due to its back support and neck support. No other product works for me. Dr. even agrees. OH - now the wife can enjoy the old recliner.

Technician came and lubricated mechanical joints under the chair, squeaking stopped. Told the tech the mechanical devices that recline the chair and raise the footrest allow the seat and back to move if you shift your weight while sitting in the chair in full upright (rocker) position. He said this was normal, did nothing about it. Made no adjustments to the operator. Mechanical operator obviously not well made! This did not happen with the chair in the store showroom. This chair is very comfortable but if you shift your weight in it, it feels as though the mechanical operator may come apart. Expected better quality for a $1350. Rocker/Recliner from La-Z-Boy!! Overall Dissatisfied.

Purchased 2 matching La-Z-Boy swivel-rocker-recliners from Medler's Furniture in Portland, Indiana. Great folks to work with, knowledgeable about the product, right on with the delivery and set up, removed an old chair for me (to the garage). I recommend them to others constantly! Now that I'm older, having trouble reaching and using the recliner handle but I'LL figure out something there. Worth it to have La-Z-Boys!

We bought two La-Z-Boy recliners many years ago and have had them for at least 20 years. We like the way they held up and that’s why we went back to the company. Recently, we purchased a sofa and two chairs from them and although we don't have the sofa yet, the chairs have already been delivered. Also, I received excellent response from their salespeople. I dealt with two of them and really enjoyed the experience. I have a good relationship with them because I went down a couple of times to change the sofa I originally picked out and get a different covering, etc. I interacted with them quite a bit and had a very relaxed and good exchange.
Their delivery guys were given the wrong address and they called, they were still very hospitable. They turned around, came back down the road a bit, brought the chairs in and showed us how to work them. We’re happy with the quality of our purchase, however, we didn’t realize that the top pillow of one of the chairs has to be fluffed regularly. That was one thing that wasn’t brought to our attention, but we’re sure that was an oversight.

The Lay-Z-Boy sales associate who helped me was wonderful. She guided me to the various items I asked about, allowed me to sit in the chairs and sofas and try them out. She answered all my questions and helped me in choosing the upholstery I liked best. The delivery of my items went smoothly and the delivery men arrived promptly, calling shortly before arriving to let me know they were on their way. They quickly and efficiently placed my furniture where I wanted it and had me try it out before leaving.
In short, they were great! It is the best delivery experience I've had - they even arrived a few minutes early! I didn't have to wait around all day like I've had to do with other businesses when waiting for delivery of a large item. The entire experience was positive - the shopping was pleasant, sales associate and others very helpful and delivery was great. I have sent photos of my new items to friends and bragged about my "electric" recliner to them. I love the colors I chose and when I look at my new furniture, it is a cheerful experience.

Great experience with La-Z-Boy. The process was easy, our salesperson was great, and delivery was a piece of cake. The representative really listened to what we required for our chair and showed us options that we weren’t aware of or that I haven't done research on. Instead of being interested in making money, she wanted to provide us with what we needed. She pointed us in the directions that would satisfy us, and we picked one of her recommendations rather than one of the ones that I had done research on. I would go back to her again.
We purchased a recliner and it's been fantastic. We love the look and the material. Everything looks really strong and sturdy. We picked it up at the warehouse and it took five minutes for us to check the chair out and put it in our truck. My first La-Z-Boy purchase in 1994 is the only other one I’ve had. It still works, but a little old and looks beat-up so it is now in our basement and the new one is in the living room.

Purchased 2 couches that are the same, one is sofa bed, one is not, upgraded to gel comfort cushions on both sofas for additional cost of $800+. Also 2 recliners. 2 ottomans, 4 custom pillows, and fabric for window treatment. The couches with 'comfort gel cushions' are the most uncomfortable hard seating we've ever experienced. Recliners do not have those cushions but are also very uncomfortable.
I have daily pain in my back and legs since getting furniture just days ago. There is no place now in my home that I can sit and be comfortable or without pain. It was not told to us in store by salesman that these gel cushions would make sitting height on couch 3-4 inches higher and now my feet cannot touch the floor. So circulation is being cut off in my legs and adding to pain. For all I know this could cause blood clot and severe outcome. I was told by a la-z-boy representative that they can't fix "comfort".
After much discussion they will give us the original cushions for the couches, but will NOT refund the $800 plus tax that we paid for the upgraded gel cushions, WHAT? We get to just throw away that much $. And who will guarantee that the original cushions that come with couch will be comfortable either. It could be worse and then I have a cheaper cushion that could also be uncomfortable?!
This is the only time in our lives, we are 65 and 80 yrs old, that we spent so much money on furniture, and we are left with totally uncomfortable couches that cause pain. And hard uncomfortable recliners. How can such a large company not help us? We asked for the original cushions be exchanged for these hard gel cushions and our $800 upgrade refunded. What is so hard or unusual about that? If salesman had done his job and explained honestly, we never would have ordered gel cushions that he kept raving about, and we wouldn't be having this problem in the first place. Why would we order cushions if we knew my feet would not be able to touch the floor?? So why should we be penalized for it?

I have been enjoying my sofa sleepers for 2 years now and they look and feel brand new. The fabric has not faded, the cushions are firm, and all the stitching is still perfect. I've not only slept on the beds, but I've had many visitors who have slept on them as well and commented on how comfortable they are. I've also owned a black leather sectional for 5 years and can say the same about looking and feeling like it's new. I'm so happy with my La-Z-Boy furniture.

We recently bought a La-Z-Boy recliner chair in leather, a motorized lift recliner chair, an end table and two lamps. The La-Z-Boy recliner we bought 16 years ago is still great, but we wanted to replace our old couch. We bought the new furniture during a great sale at La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries. The superior quality of the furniture and value for money is everything we wanted from La-Z-Boy. What I really want to talk about is the great service we received. The sales associate, Ryan, was very helpful, no pressure, friendly and knowledgeable. He printed out our receipts and guarantees quickly and then personally carried out our end table and lamps to our car. He promised a convenient delivery time in a few days for the chairs, which were in stock.
On the promised delivery date, the delivery men, Angel (sp?) and his partner phoned fifteen minutes before their arrival and were on time. They were polite and professional. They were very careful about the walls, tight doorways and glass doors. They took away our old couch and gave me time to vacuum. Angel said "No problem, Sir." They brought the new chairs in, assembled, plugged in and tested the lift chair. Angel showed me the controls and invited me to test both chairs. They cleaned up completely and checked the area. When they were finished and I signed the receipt, Angel gave me a telephone number and said, "Sir, please call and tell us about the delivery service, and if you have any comments or suggestions." Wow. This was the first time I had ever been told this. La-Z-Boy made the whole buying experience easy, but the delivery was exceptional.

No follow up on why order was delayed. Didn't return calls. We had to do all the follow up. Wood tables Were delivered with scratches. The designer stated that she would come by to make sure all furniture looked good and was sat up properly.

We had planned on replacing the loveseat in our RV. We weren't in a big hurry, just researching our options. When we walked into La-Z-Boy we were greeted by a lady who listened to what we were planning and said she knew the scale for an RV is smaller than for most homes and led us directly to what was available. We knew she was knowledgeable, and when we saw the color swatch in exactly what we wanted, we talked and made the purchase. The loveseat is lovely and so incredibly comfortable. Can't wait to get on the road to enjoy our comfy sofa!

We ordered and bought two separate La-Z-Boy at the time we got the one for me, C#932376. The other chair was C#993475. I have, over the years, bought about La-Z-Boy recliners and loved not only the chairs but the service you provide. However, we were enticed about 3 years ago, to go with a custom sized recliner for me, made by Flexsteel. That was a big mistake, and actually Flexsteel quit making this model within less than 2 years. We ended up paying $169 to have the back totally redone within just over 2 years. They had to make an envelope to keep the slippery synthetic type padding in it. I tried to get help from them, but due to only the two year warranty, they refused to give me any break whatsoever. The least they could have done was give me a discount on another Flexsteel product, I feel. They are an old well established company.
We were so sorry we totally forgot to go to your store, where we had purchased some about 10 years ago, and still have, Starcke, in Sequin, Tx. At 92 years of age now, and badly handicapped bodily, this chair we got with 10 separate controls, has made my days worth looking forward to again. Thank you!

We purchased these two recliners in 2013 and bought the three-year warranty. The leather is cracking and peeling on then they look like they are 30 years old. I called on Jan 5th 2016 to make a claim. They told me to send pictures. I did sent them to Belen **. She sent me back a note said she would sent to Management. Didn't hear back. Sent another email. Nothing. SO finally called again. Got a nasty call from them stating it was scratches from a dog and that was not covered. I said "How can you tell this. You have not even look at the chairs." Well that is the way it is. Pets are not covered. I tried to explain our little 6-pound dog could not cause the leather to peel and fade.
After arguing with her she finally in a disgusted way said she would do a home inspection on Feb 28th. Two months later. Very poor. Basically saying they would not do anything. I paid a lot for the warranty and to be treated like this? Was getting ready to purchase more furniture for my basement but now? La-Z-Boy, if this is the way you treat people I do not want anything to do with your company.

I bought a La-Z-Boy chair 30 years ago and wanted a new recliner from them again because I was starting to get some problems with my feet and I wanted to get them up. Their sales rep was good at his job and very helpful. Their delivery crew arrived on time and were professional. They hauled it right in and set it up. It's a very high-quality chair.

Poor workmanship. Not at all up to La-Z-Boy stands. No lumbar support, chairs squeaked from poor spring work. La-Z-Boy would not take them back to factory and remake them. All they'd do is refund my money. It was part of their policy. Lousy policy La-Z-Boy. Now we don't have any chairs.

We are extremely pleased with the service we received at the Manchester La-Z-Boy store. After visiting a number of other stores with no success of availability for what we needed...our last stop was at the La-Z-Boy store. We found the perfect power recliner for my husband who was starting a very aggressive chemotherapy the following week. They made sure we received the chair and had it set up and tested before he started his therapy. That chair has been a blessing to him and me. He loves it! Thank you everyone at La-Z-Boy!!

Several months ago we purchased a sleeper/sofa from the La-Z-Boy store in Stuart, Florida. The store manager and salesperson told us it had a queen size bed when opened up. Normal queen size length is supposed to be 80" long. Our sofa is only 72" which makes it almost impossible to have a guest who is over 6 ft tall which one of our friends is. This was a misrepresentation and now makes it almost impossible to have certain guests since we have only one guest BR. Very disappointed at La-Z-Boy and will tell others about our experience.

Recliner is comfortable and fits my husband well. Reclining mechanism works smoothly. The only problem we see is that the glides attached to the bottom of the legs by the installer allow the recliner to move too easily on our wood floors. The result is that I have to constantly reposition the chair.

I've always liked the quality of my La-Z-Boy furniture -- I wouldn't buy it anywhere else. A couple of years back, I bought recliners with the little remotes on them. The old furniture was good but I have to change it up a little bit so I bought a table, a loveseat, and a rug. The sales rep was great, took care of everything and called me back. When I ordered the table, she let me know that I got to wait a while, as well as when it's ready to go. She updated me and did follow-ups. It was good service. We've remodeled the house and she came out and gave us some suggestions. We were going to paint one wall and she suggested to put the paint on the other wall and that was good. Delivery was great too. However my recliner's broke and I'm still waiting for it to get fixed. They mailed the parts to my house and we called the tech if he could come down to install them. I got the parts and they're supposed to be calling me.

The purchase of a chair was handled in a friendly and professional manner. I had an issue of an additional part for the chair after it was installed. The service supervisor came out and installed the part at a very reasonable price. I would recommend the Elk Grove store to everyone.

We did the furniture in the basement and we put them in the sun room. It was time for something new to sit on so we bought sofa and recliners from La-Z-Boy. We've bought a few different pieces throughout the years but this is the first sofa we bought. I picked a couple of fabrics that weren't available after we had chosen them and their sales representatives were very good about getting back to us in a timely fashion and helping us to find something different. Overall, they're very good sales-wise, delivery and quality of the furniture. We like it and we're very satisfied.

I dealt with Sheila ** and she was a wealth of information for me, and I will deal with her from now on. I have a health condition that requires me to keep my feet elevated when sitting, Sheila showed me what was available. I then went and got a prescription from my doctor. Revenue Canada told me that with a prescription I will be able to claim the chair on my income tax as a deduction. I went back to Sheila and ordered the chair (Pinnacle luxury power lift) and I'm happy to say it is comfortably helping me manage my health.

We had a great experience with La-Z-Boy and would definitely go back when we are in need of new furniture. We love the sofa and chair we received plus the additional help from the room designer who came to our house to help us decide on colors not only for the furniture but for my walls. I came in to purchase a rocker/recliner and was greeted by your sales assoc. Magda. I am a big guy, so she showed me some of your larger chairs. But they were a bit more than I had intended on spending. As I was leaving I decided to try the Jasper again and felt it would meet my needs. After a week or so I saw it advertised in your circular for a lesser price. I called the Manager Carolyn and her thoroughness really impressed me. Thank you for my chair and refund of the price difference. Because of Carolyn I will buy from her store again.

We've had La-Z-Boy furniture in our home for about 20 years and we've needed new furniture recently so we went to the La-Z-Boy store looking for something specific. We picked something out and when we found that the store had what we wanted, the staff was very helpful and were able to direct us to what we were looking for. Very pleased with the service we received from start to finish. We were extremely happy with the living room that Destiny ** at La-Z-Boy Furniture in Annapolis, Maryland designed for our home. Destiny got to know us and asked us about what we wanted. We told Destiny about some items that we wanted featured in the room. Destiny put together an attractive, comfortable and functional design. Destiny even made recommendations for paint colors as well as window treatments for the room, which we implemented. We love our new room and spend more time in there! We have received numerous compliments on our living room. Destiny even came out to oversee the delivery! The delivery team were professional and showed great respect for our home. We’re looking for something for comfort, and our current chairs were getting old, so we purchased a recliner from La-Z-Boy. It was our first La-Z-Boy purchase and their sales rep was very helpful in trying to ascertain what we needed. She made sure that we only got what we wanted. She helped us with the selections, the fabric, and the fabric protection program that they have. She described the way the furniture was made, took us around so that we could try different chairs, and made sure that we were very comfortable. She was great. She scheduled the delivery of our furniture and the delivery team were awesome. I’m also very pleased with the quality of the recliner. I’ve already recommended them.

My experience at the store was great. My dissatisfaction comes with the La-Z-Boy recliner I bought. I have had 6 or 8 La-Z-Boy recliners in the past but this is the most uncomfortable recliner I have ever had. The leather recliner before this one was great.

The chair is wonderful. I bought it as a gift for my husband. The leather and overall quality is superior. The delivery people were on time, set up the chair and it is an excellent addition to our family room. I bought the chair at the Santa Rosa store and felt the sales person was not very responsive to questions nor was she very helpful. I pretty much chose the chair, paid and walked out.

It used to easy to get a part for your La-Z-Boy Boy Recliner. Not so anymore. I tried to get a part thru the dealership that I purchased my recliner from. They have no record of my purchase. I've bought 4 La-Z-Boy Recliners there??? I tried to call the old 800 number and order my part. They said that I needed to get it from where I purchased the chair. Hum. I guess you can give a Lifetime Warranty because it takes a lifetime to get it fixed. After waiting for the part for over 3 months, the dealer now says that they are trying to order my part. Just let us La-Z-Boy customers call the factory and order our own parts. Please.

Our salesperson (Russell **) gets a Gold Star. So nice to work with someone that was not pushy and trying to sell us something that we didn't want. Putting up with a women (me) that wasn't sure what she wanted but yet had a picture in her head. We have had family and friends compliment us on our purchase. We wanted to configure the size and shape of the furniture that we needed so we went to La-Z-Boy to buy a sectional and an ottoman. It's a little bit expensive but we knew when we customized it that we were going to be paying a little bit more than the usual items found right in the showroom. And so far, I’m very pleased with the quality. The sales representatives at the gallery were all very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. The delivery team was the same and they were very professional, on time, and efficient. Everything was great.

We were most pleased with the salespeople and the treatment we received. Most specifically we were impressed by store manager Barb **. We had a few problems (all mine) with our selections after placing orders. When we changed our minds re: style, fabric and color Mrs. ** treated us like we were family members and assured us that our problems could be easily resolved and they were. We are very pleased customers.

The sales rep at my La-Z-Boy store was very attentive, not pushy and helped me understand the way to lower the footrest. Something that I forgot and hated the noise my chair made when lowering the footrest. Went on-line and found a "how-to" video and now I'm happy again. :)

We were able to purchase exactly what we wanted in the fabric we wanted and it was delivered when promised. The only complaint I have is that the reclining mechanism we prefer is being phased out.

Everything was just fine until the chairs arrived, at different dates. The arms on the chairs where folded in different spots and makes it very uncomfortable to lean on. One receives a numbing feeling in their hands and arms. They are arriving today January 25 to change the arms. Hopefully this works out well.

Sad excuse for a warranty plan, paid double for this La-Z-Boy loveseat (because of the La-Z-Boy name) and in 2 years one side has collapsed. "Sorry that isn't under warranty and it will cost you 109 just to have someone look at it." Sure glad I listened to the salesperson on a lifetime warranty.

Overall very satisfied with the service & quality of furniture at La-Z-Boy. Our sales associates were very helpful putting a room collection together for us. They were very informative. To date we have received our couch & loveseat that has already improved the look in our home. The service we received on delivery was outstanding. Only disappointment to date was price, especially on the floor model. Would have been nice to see a better discount.

I like the quality and feel of the rocker recliner but when laying back in the recliner it tips to the point that the feet are elevated above the head. This is excessive, uncomfortable and appears to be a design flaw.

Prompt greeting, easy to locate chair we wanted. Too much confusion arriving at price (which we considered high, but the chair was what we wanted). Floor sample and price shown was for leather covering - the differential for fabric (which we wanted) was minuscule despite all sorts of signage about tremendous discounts, etc. We eventually settled on the one chair in stock which brought the price down a bit more (fabric was not our preference but turned out ok). The checkout and payment to complete transaction took much too long.

I love my chair. It is very comfortable and still looks like the day I got it. It is also very pet-friendly. I have 2 dogs and the furniture shows no wear on it. I also have a La-Z-Boy reclining couch that I have had for several years and that has held up well also. I highly recommend this furniture.

We recently purchased a sofa, love seat and recliner from La-Z-Boy. Their sales representative was really nice and their delivery team was awesome. However, I had a little issue. They were having a sale so we went there and I asked the sales representative if the price there was lowest they could offer in which she said yes and that they couldn't go any lower. Then my husband and I went to Raymour & Flanigan across the street. They had the same La-Z-Boy set cheaper than what La-Z-Boy was offering it for. I called her the next day and asked why can't they offer a lower price when the store across the street was offering a bigger discount. Then she said, "Well we can match that price."
At this point my husband is pissed because he doesn't like playing with the price. So we decided to go with Raymour & Flanigan however, they couldn't get it to us as quickly as La-Z-Boy did. So, we went with La-Z-Boy instead only because we were having company and we wanted the furniture in by then. But I would tell somebody to go check out Raymour & Flanigan before they go to La-Z-Boy because they carry La-Z-Boy pieces cheaper than what La-Z-Boy is gonna guaranty it for. But even though La-Z-Boy met our price, I shouldn't have had a go because of their prices. I am not satisfied because of the situation we went through.
Furthermore, I didn't have the furniture in my house for five days. Also, we got the all-electrical and I asked them, "Well, what's the difference with the electrical? We checkout the extra insurance on it and all that?" And she said, "Oh, the motor have never went on these things." We haven't even had the furniture in our living room for five days and the motor went on, the one on chairs. My chair was stuck in the up position. So it was not a good experience. They told me it'll take three weeks for them to come out and fix it.
Meantime, I talked to a supervisor and told her if they couldn't fix the couch, they should come and get it. And she said they do that but I said, "Well, I'm having company here in five days and my couch is stuck in the up position." So finally, they got somebody out two days later. I told him the issues but he came out without a new motor. He had a used motor that's rigged, taped together to hold us over so we could get the chair into the down position for the company. Until now I'm still waiting on my new motor. He's coming February 3rd.

Our sectional came in and we had to call for service less than an hour after it was delivered. The left arm recliner had the foot rest mounted incorrectly and it will not raise unless you grab it from the bottom with your hands. The right arm recliner had a crooked and wobbly back. The repairman immediately ordered new ones to be remade and delivered and it has been more than a month and we are still waiting. We purchased La-Z-Boy brand based on prior experience with your product and hoped that it was going to last us for the next 20 years. We are quite disappointed that it didn't last 20 minutes and hope that the replacements that come are built to your standards and ours.
It has been quite a disappointing experience so far and for the amount of money that we paid for this furniture, I shouldn't have any worries whatsoever. The only redeeming part of the experience so far was the courtesy and professionalism of the repairman to see that we were taken care of right away. Fingers crossed that the 2nd chance will be worth the LONG wait.

We have a 20-year old furniture that needs to go, so we purchased a very nice loveseat from La-Z-Boy. We dealt with Matt at the Cary location and he was wonderful. We went there right around New Year’s Eve, and he showed us a Maverick couch that has the reclining ends on it. We really liked it but we didn’t get home in time to make measurements and call him back before the sale expired. We went back a week later, and we got a better deal because there was another sale on. We dealt with Matt once again. He was really great, and he made all the arrangements. The delivery guys were awesome. They called me the day before telling me the timeframe of the delivery, second call on the day itself for the time that it was going to be delivered, and another call 30 minutes before they arrived just like they said. I really appreciate the calls they made before the furniture was delivered and the way their staff handled it.

Well, I still am not happy with the over-priced inferior product that has a bad odor, is poorly constructed with sharp edges of of the frame with thin to no padding on sections of the arms, and poorly fitted cushions.

If you are looking for smaller condo sized furniture, La-Z-Boy Galleries is the place to shop. Not only do they carry a variety of sofa and chair sizes, but you also have a great choice of materials and patterns to choose from. Their furniture is good quality and last a lifetime. Our first purchase with La-Z-Boy was years ago, but recently, we made another purchase with them for a sofa, chairs, recliner and accessories because we bought a new condo. We spent more than $5,000. Their sales rep, Sylvia, was wonderful. We later had two different deliveries and the first team delivered the sofa and the recliner. They did a great job and they get an A. They were very nice, polite and patient. We wish that we could have that experience every time.
The second team that delivered one chair had a person named Pedro and he was absolutely horrible and gets an F. This team was also rushing and tried to get us to sign the forms so that they could get out of there. They didn't want to give us time to look at the furniture and inspect it. They were rude and insulting and we're going to call the La-Z-Boy home office in Monroe, Michigan and tell them in detail about our experience. There's a major disconnect between what we were told at the store and how the delivery people were, although this is not just with La-Z-Boy. Other than that, we love the quality of our purchase. My sister-in-law loved our furniture too and she went in and bought a couch from them. We also recommended them to others.

The leather recliner we ordered from La-Z-Boy in October arrived after Thanksgiving, but in plenty of time for Christmas. Overall the experience was "trouble free" and we felt comfortable in the store. We have had the recliners for about 4 years now and the chairs are used every day. I liked the La-Z-Boy sofa because it reclines and I watch the TV. I went over to the store to see it and I was very happy with the sales person. But when the sofa came, it's more of like green than it is blue. They said it's greenish blue, but in the store, it looked blue. So I went yesterday to complain and the manager was very indignant at the salesperson who told them why I was there. He said because it was a special order, he couldn't do anything for me. He didn't have enough common courtesy to come over and talk to me. He sent his salesperson over to explain and I threw out a rage. I didn't actually scream but I was really upset. So I'm paying $3,300 dollars for something that I'm not happy with. And I have to repaint my living room because I have blue in the living room. It's a nice sofa, but it came out green!

We replaced our older La-Z-Boy recliner with two new ones. I had purchased the other one used many years ago. While it still looked nice, the cushion was getting bad. I was assured when we purchased our new ones that they were under warranty for almost anything that went wrong with them. If I ever need new furniture again, I will go with La-Z-Boy. The quality still seems to be there.

The associates were both very helpful under unique circumstances. I dealt with one associate in Severn, MD and another in New Jersey, can't remember the area. The Maryland associate worked closely with me when it came to detail; the legs of the chair, the fabric choice. The new jersey associate picked up right where the other left off. La-Z-Boy Greyson Leather Recliners. On Feb. 22, 2015 we ordered 2 of the above named recliners from Freed's Furniture in Rapid City, SD. They were delivered May 22, 2015. By June 27th 2015 the backs were collapsing. I notified Freed's and they sent out a representative who took photos and said she would get back to me... On July 14th I was told that they would "re-stuff" the backs for me. Here I have $3000. worth of chairs and they need repair after two months??? I said NO! Next they ordered two new LEATHER backs for my two month old chairs, they arrived and were replaced on Sept.16th 2015... Within a month these too started to collapse. (We are not big people.)
On December 29, 2015 I sent a registered letter to La-Z-Boy advising them of this problem... The letter was signed for by Savannah ** on January 4th 2016, and as of today I have heard NOTHING!!! We have owned La-Z-Boy recliners for fifty years with very few problems but this is a major one. The quality, lifetime guarantee and service have gone to pot!

I was repainting and redoing the floors and thought I'd finish it with some new furniture. As soon as I walked in the La-Z-Boy store, it was like everything that I was looking for. The products there are fantastic. I have gone to a lot of different stores before I tried La-Z-Boy and never could find what I wanted. I was also amazed at how friendly, knowledgeable and helpful the people were in the store.
The delivery team was great. They put everything in and set it up right. The only problem I had was the rug pad wasn't with it and was not delivered at all. I had to go pick it up later, but other than that, everything was fine. The quality is top notch. I would recommend La-Z-Boy. My daughter was with me and recommended La-Z-Boy to her mom, my ex-wife, and she ended up buying something also.

Ordered an expensive sectional from La-Z-Boy. Got my phone call to schedule delivery that I needed to pay the remainder of my balance to schedule. Was told part of my sectional in but missing consoles. We waited to schedule delivery till all pieces were going to be in. Delivery was scheduled for today and due to snow we called the store in the morning to verify delivery. We were told that they were out and delivering furniture and there would not be a problem. We moved couches and furniture all around our house to make the delivery easier and clear the room for the delivery. We were told to expect them between 1-4. We received a phone call at 12 noon telling us that they were not doing the delivery due to snow.
If this is the case, why did they not cancel in the morning before my house is in a disaster? Called customer service and was no assistance. Was told from store that we could have delivery on Monday, but due to working cannot be home. Told would be home on Tuesday and have not heard if that is possible. I understand if snow is the reason that they could not deliver but they should have cancelled in the morning when I called and not waited until things are moved and an hour before delivery. Extremely unhappy and ready to cancel the whole order.

The couch that we had - not a La-Z-Boy - was getting uncomfortable so we decided to purchase new furniture and we bought a sofa and an ottoman from La-Z-Boy. We got in on a good sale and it was worth it. We got it on time and perfect condition. We love the quality of our furniture. This is our second purchase from La-Z-Boy. We still have their chairs from about 15 years ago, and they're still in excellent condition

We've used La-Z-Boy almost 11 years ago to get couches and we didn't get couches with anybody else since. We recently moved into a bigger house and our previous couches were old so we figured it was time to upgrade and get something new from them again. We bought chairs, sofas, pillows and some accessories. The delivery went well. The sales rep said that the delivery guy would call us and give us a closer window because we were given 7am to 7pm on a Saturday. I called the Saturday morning and they were able to pull up the schedule and give us exact times but I wished I'd known earlier. The quality of the furniture is good. It's beautiful and the way we pictured it would be. I'm satisfied with everything that we've gotten. We used the in-house design expert and she came to the house.

My sister is very happy with her couch from La-Z-Boy. However, I can't say the same for the recliner because she sold it to a friend - she didn't care for it. I also bought a recliner the same day she did because my other recliner was worn out. I've had it for a couple of months now but I'm also a little disappointed in its quality, had it serviced out twice and they were supposed to order another cushion part but I haven't heard anything about that. Other than that, their sales reps were very helpful in picking up the color and explaining the process of it being built and when it would be delivered. The delivery team was also excellent.

La-Z-Boy's delivery team was very good and professional. The furnitures I received were fine. I have one problem with a recliner that I bought a year ago. It's a wooden frame with leather and one of the things where the feet hem go is cracked. I need to call somebody to come out and take a look at it so they can repair it. Other than that, I have no problems with anything.

I've been married for 48 years and we’ve always had a La-Z-Boy at home. Recently, we purchased a recliner from them. My husband likes the footrest feature where it comes up only partway and not all the way where your feet are level with your hips. He also likes the lower lock that it has. In addition, the gentleman who took care of sales was very nice and very helpful. So far, the quality of the recliner is good.

I had a Broyhill loveseat for quite a long time and my husband and I found out that he felt really comfortable seating in a La-Z-Boy and decided it was time to replace the old one. We went to La-Z-Boy and everybody at the gallery and also the delivery team were good. And so far, the quality of my new sofa is so good.

I've had La-Z-Boy furniture in my home for eight years now. The furniture was going to hell in a hand basket so I decided to buy a new sofa. I had multiple sales representatives that knew their stuff pretty well. They all had different opinions which I thought was a strength, not a weakness, because I get different ideas that way. It was a good purchasing experience as a whole. I preferred it over the place where we bought the other La-Z-Boy furniture whose people never followed through with anything they promised. The original one had problems right from the get-go but I think it was a local dealer though and not the La-Z-Boy dealer.
Delivery was good. I scheduled it and they took my old furniture out to the garage because I'm needing hip replacement surgery and I couldn't do it. They put it in the right spot and got it pretty well set up. Now that the furniture is here, I've noticed a few little odd things like a few strings hanging off here and there. I don't dare pull on them because I'm afraid it will pull the stitches out. But other than that, the sofa seems to be fairly good -- my cats got used to it pretty quick!

I purchased a chair in February 2015... I received the furniture sometime the first part of April 2015. I had the chair for a couple of months and the fabric in the seat cushions was pilling. La-Z-Boy sent out technician and after some discussion they made and sent me another seat cushion. I had that cushion a couple of months and its one cushion has showed pilling... Tom the service technician came back out again. He asked me what I wanted. I said I would be flexible and if they gave me a new cushion in the contrasting material I had picked out that would be good... I did get the cushion and was pleased with the look.
Come November 2015 I was vacuuming furniture and saw pilling on the arms and the back of cushion. WOW! Could not believe it... Sent an email to Tom along with pictures and he responded with: "Reviewed photos with my supervisor. Attached is a copy of La-Z-Boy policy on fabric pilling. It is not a defect pilling. It’s a characteristic of some fabrics. Several shaves with a fabric shaver will remove most pilling." If I was given that information I would never picked this fabric. NEVER. I am so disappointed in La-Z-Boy customer satisfaction. I really do not know what to do... I really believe the chair should be replaced. Who do I talk with higher up than your supervisor?? Any suggestions? I am at your mercy. Thank you for your time!

The couch I had before was getting old and I wanted to get a leather one, so I bought a sectional La-Z-Boy that can seat 4 people. The quality is really good and I like it. The delivery team was good and they delivered the couch on time. It's been a good experience with La-Z-Boy.

I purchased a rocker recliner for a beach house I own in CA from the Fairfield store and when I went to pick it up I was wanting to look at several pieces for another house in FL. Despite not being able to take the order directly Michael ** went above and beyond to help direct me and pick several pieces and set me up to place the order at a location he will get not credit for. Bravo. Now that's customer service and brand loyalty from a great employee.

We were moving into a new house and we wanted to start new so we purchased new furniture from La-Z-Boy. Samantha was very helpful and everybody at the store seemed to be not pushy, trying to help. So it was a pleasant experience. Good follow-up. Only one little glitch but was not a big deal. Since we wanted to make sure the furniture was in when we had the house built, they originally said, "No problem. We'll just store it here for whenever you need it. Just call us and we'll have it delivered." But they called us as soon as it came in and said, "Are you going to take possession of it?" And I said, "But our home isn't ready yet." They said, "We'll only hold it for up to 90 days but you've got to take it by then." Once I pushed back a little bit, they relented but that was not what we were told originally at the store.

We've had many La-Z-Boys for 25 years and they have been good. The sales representative who I recently talked to gave me his best price which is something I like because I don't like to go in and have to negotiate with them. I also didn't have any problems when the recliner was delivered.

My husband wanted a recliner and we didn't have one and the one we got from La-Z-Boy together with a sleeper sofa was wonderful and he loves it. The sales representatives there were very helpful and knowledgeable. I think two sales people shared the project because I had gone in one day and talked to a guy but he wasn't there when I went back. A woman helped me and she was nice and I spent a lot more time with her. She ended up coming to the house with the designer and checked out to see if my decisions were good on space and size.
The delivery team were also wonderful. They had to come late which worked out fine for us. They were so careful bringing things in. We don't have easy doorways here to get through because we have a small condo and they were just troopers. We noticed that there were two pillows that we hadn't gotten. They stopped and checked, and they had them. They were so close by so they drove them back over. I don't think they could've done a better job.
In addition, we have children who are in the antique business and they really like their antiques. They said that for upholstered furniture, they think La-Z-Boy are just the best made in America. And we're so happy that they are made in America. They were the ones that said if we were gonna do anything, we should do La-Z-Boy. They've got La-Z-Boy upholstered furniture in their house too.

Purchased Maverick La-Z-Boy recliner and sofa from La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries, 11515 Carolina Pl Parkway Pineville, NC 28134, for Town House in June 2015. Took a couple weeks to get delivered which was fine. Recliner after a couple months was like it was broke in the middle going all the way back, I was practically in a inverted position. Just sitting in chair not reclining, back of chair would just start easing backward. Called the store we purchased from and they gave us customer service number to call. I expressed to them that I didn't buy it from customer service and since the purchase was so new, I felt it was their responsibility. They said "no it wasn't" so I called the number they gave me.
About 2 weeks later service tech came out and repaired. He explained to me that I may have to keep flipping it over to tighten 2 wing nuts. I told him I didn't buy a La-Z-Boy to have to flip it over in the middle of the living room and repair it myself. So about 2 months later around November same thing started happening to chair. I would be sitting in it and back would start easing back all by itself. When the chair was in reclining position the chair would lean back and keep going until the chair back would touch the floor flipping me and the whole base of the chair into the floor backward. Again I called the store I purchased it from and things got little testy. I got the feeling they thought I wasn't being truthful with them so I took photos and sent it to them. I expressed to them that I thought it was their responsibility to handle this problem but again they insisted I contact the service dept. After talking with the store they agreed to contact service dept.
About a week later Service dept called and said they was in their busy season and it would be 2 or 3 weeks before they would be out. I told them I didn't live here all the time and it was really a inconvenience to schedule this far out, but if that was the best they could do I would make arrangement to be here. When the tech arrived he repaired the same part again and told my daughter that we may have to flip it over and tighten wing nuts up. Well guess what, a few weeks later and HERE WE GO AGAIN the back is easing down again. So I did flip it over to tighten wing nuts up. The wing nuts are tight but the same part is broken again. I am easing back now into an inverted position, waiting for it to throw me into the floor again. I am 54 years old, I am 5'8" tall and weigh 195 lbs. Maybe 20 lbs overweight but not a large man.
I call the location where I bought the chair from, I told them with the premium prices they charge for the chairs I know everyone was not having this problem, but I am sure I am not the only one. They did take the service request this time and said they would put in a service request to center in Richburg SC. My big problem with this is they keep sending service department out (3rd time in 6 months ) and when warranty is out I am stuck with a really expensive chair that keeps breaking every 2 months and throwing me in the floor. Come on La-Z-Boy, time for you to step up. I am not asking for my money back just a replacement chair that I don't have to keep making reservations for your busy service tech to come out.

Order **. On 11/21/14 I purchased a recliner per the above order. We were advised that the chair could be upgraded to a firmer seat for a $100 fee. My wife also wanted a green color, however, the salesperson, Shane ** could not confirm that this color was available, so we settled on a blue. Upon receipt of said chair on 12/30/2015 the chair appeared to be what we ordered. Now only two weeks later, the seat seems to be less than firm. I contacted the La-Z-Boy store on 1/12/2016 at 11AM and spoke to a Steve about this order and he stated that the extra cushion status was not on the order, but the extra paid and our knowledge of this extra item seemed to confirm what we had ordered. He stated that he would have someone contact me within the hour.
At 510PM on 1/12/16 I again called the store and the person at that time advised that he would email the appropriate staff and that I would receive a call the first thing this morning. I also called on the 15th of Jan. and was transferred to the store and advised that Shane would call me when he came to work at 12 noon AND STILL NO CALL BACK!!! Needless to say I have yet to receive a call, thus this letter, and now this complaint. As it stands, I paid for an item that I did not receive. No one from La-Z-Boy has responded. I faxed this complaint to the corporate office in Monroe, Mi. on 1/13/16 and no one from that location has responded either.

The sales rep in the Lombard Store was a very nice guy. The delivery team brought the recliner right in and set it up for me. They let me test it enough before they left. The quality of the furniture is very good and I like it. The cost was a little high but I expect it's because it's motorized.
