Over the years, I've bought over $10K of La-Z-Boy furniture. For the most part, I have been very pleased with the product. In 2014, I bought a Sofa and a Loveseat, whereupon the leather began to crack and flake months after purchase. Only 28 months later, both pieces look horrible and need to be replaced at the earliest opportunity. In sharp contrast, the La-Z-Boy recliner purchase in 2007 while stationed in Okinawa, Japan has never cracked or flaked despite numerous military relocations.

I purchased a recliner sofa and chair from the La-Z-Boy store in Newport News, Va. I selected La-Z-Boy as I had two La-Z-Boy recliner chairs 20 years ago and they are still in great condition and work great. I love the new furniture that we bought. It is so comfortable and very stylish. Plan on buying another recliner sofa and will definitely go to La-Z-Boy to purchase it.

I have learned a valuable lesson. 30+ years ago I bought my first La-Z-Boy and bought another 20 years ago. Since then I have bought cheap imitations. The last two chairs I bought were so bad that I replaced them with new La-Z-Boy recliners. My fie and I are so happy with the product and with the dealer in China Grove, NC. Bare Furniture has been around for years and has a great reputation of selling a quality product. Glad I came home to La-Z-Boy.

The store in Lloydminster is awesome, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The store is always beautifully laid out. The furniture I purchased is so comfortable we are really enjoying our choices. The delivery guys are always prompt, curious and very friendly. Love the store, people and of course the Reese La-z-boy recliners and coffee tables!

The staff were very helpful! Between two different days they helped me find the right ottoman to match my reclining sofa. I had a lot of choices to pick from, enough that I didn't feel like I had to "settle" for a less than perfect option. And the salespeople (whom I believe are managers) were kind and didn't pressure me into getting anything at all.

We purchased a La-Z-Boy loveseat recliner from Hurwitz-Mintz in Metairie, LA for approximately $1,800+ in December 2014 and within only a few months the leather began "wearing off" of the seats. La-Z-Boy said it was due to lack of proper care and that the leather is not covered under warranty. Both La-Z-Boy and Hurwitz-Mintz are refusing to stand behind their product!!!

I was happily surprised that the production of the recliner did not take as long as anticipated. I was able to receive the chair right before Christmas last year. Since then, family members have been happy with the quality of the chair. Thank you!

We ordered a couch and loveseat with patterned pillows for each piece. Only 2 of four pillows are correct. Called the store, called customer service, talked to a tech and store refuses to order correct pillows without the tech coming out. This is ridiculous to resolve such a minor issue. We love the furniture but you need to give stores authority to resolve minor issues like this without having a tech come out.

I love my love seats, but I am really disappointed with my recliner. I had done one come out and look at it but he said that is the way it is. Seems defective to me. No one sits in it unless they have to.

We received our two recliners a few days ago and we are not satisfied with them. They both feel too small and we feel like we will fall out of them. On the one with lumbar support it rests on the middle of my back and where my head rests, it rests in the crease of the back instead of the cushion area. I cannot relax or rest in it. The arm rests are too low and our arms just fall outside the chairs. On the other one when you put it in full recline you feel that you are being stretched over a barrel. We had delivery on Sat 02/04/17 and thought we'd give it a couple of days to see if it gets better and it's not any better. So I called the store and spoke to Robert, a manager, and he said we can return my husband's chair but not mine because mine is "custom made"?? I didn't know mine was a custom order and if we had known we can't return it I wouldn't have bought it just in case I didn't like it.
He told me to call 855-952-9269 the service center and maybe they can authorize a return on it. Well, I spoke to Maureen and she said she can't. That I would have to call the store again. I feel like I'm getting a run around. We do not like the chairs and want to return them. We're the customers and we're not satisfied them. They do not meet our expectations and are expensive and I don't feel that I should be stuck with them. Maureen called the store and called me back and said we can't return mine. And if we return my husband's we have to pay a 30% restocking fee. What?? And a pick up charge. What?? I cannot rest with this and feel upset and I refuse to be stuck with these and pay for these chairs that we don't like. They also feel small for some reason and they didn't feel that way in the store. Is there something that can be done about this? We don't want to exchange them we just want to return them.

We've purchased a few times from La-Z-Boy and we're always very happy. Their sales representatives were courteous and very knowledgeable. Their delivery team had very good communication and didn't keep us waiting with a large window. They were able to narrow it down for us and we really appreciated that. Also, the quality of the table we purchased was good and we're pleased. I would recommend them all the way.

New chair, only 2 months old. Seat was compressing a lot and back had no support. I called La-Z-Boy and was contacted within a few days. Repair fellow called the next morning and put in a requisition right away for a new seat and material to repair back. I've always had good service with La-Z-Boy and continue to be satisfied.

Great Furniture at a wonderful price. Delivery was on time and the delivery personnel were courteous, friendly, and professional. A representative called from the factory the next day and stated that they knew there was a scratch on one of the item (a recliner) and a replacement part had already been ordered. The technician called and came to the house and installed the part when promised. Marvelous customer service!

July 2013 I purchased a black leather recliner from La-Z-Boy. After about two years the leather pulled away from the arm pieces on both sides. The back of the chair began to show signs of wear. I purchased the 5 year warranty, which was a waste of my money. I stopped twice at the La-Z-Boy store and they were of no help. The warranty only covers stains. This is ridiculous, no one told me that when I purchased it. All I wanted was a replacement of the arms. I will never purchase anything from La-Z-Boy and will also tell my friends & family to not purchase there either.

I was very pleased with my shopping experience at the store (Butler Furniture Company, Mountain Home, Arkansas). The saleslady was very knowledgeable, and answered all my questions, without being at all pushy. And I'm pleased with the couch I bought (a La-Z-Boy). It's very comfortable for me, which is unusual to find. I'm very short, and couches and chairs are usually too long in the seat for me. I would buy La-Z-Boy again and shop at Butler Furniture again next time I need a piece of furniture.

I was very happy with our latest visit and purchase. Our furniture store had an ample display of La-Z-Boy couches and loveseats for me to pick from. The saleswoman was knowledgeable and helpful, but also, not pushy. She left me browse and sit and play with all the levers and was there to answer my questions. Very, very pleased with our purchases.

We ordered a sofa and a recliner. The recliner we received was misaligned and unusable. It took more than a week to get some one to look at it and when the Tech could not fix it we were told it would be up to 8 more weeks to get parts that "should" fix it. It was only when we rebelled that we were told that this was just how long it took to get parts and were offered a "floor demonstrator" to replace it. As we were going away we opted for this option to get the problem solved. All in all the experience was a major negative and really left us wondering where the La-Z-Boy quality and customer service had gone. The substantial prices are still there but apparently the after sales commitment has gone away.

I needed 2 couches in my living room, and had been looking for some time to find what I wanted. As soon as I saw the La-Z-Boy sofa, I knew right away that was what I had been looking for!! I had in the past owned one, and it lasted about 15 years. Good quality couches!!

We've had La-Z-Boy for a long time then we purchased a power sofa. The one thing I'm not crazy about is it isn't a true leather. You don't know it when you look at the sofa at the store because it looks good but then when you're moving around, you stick to the couch. Although, the sales rep was very good. Everything about the delivery team was also good.

Third party guarantee should not be pushed by salesmen. The frame broke after 18 months of use. We took the chair back to the store in Wichita and they would not let us leave it with them to be fixed. We had to take it back home and get help to unload it. Now we have to wait for a repairman to come from Kansas City 250 miles away and pay him $109 an hour to do the work. The Wichita store would only give us the third party insurance company phone number. When we were talked into buying extended warranty we were not told it was third insurance.

The attached picture shows a La-Z-Boy we purchased 7/4/13. It's past the warranty but I'm hoping you have a policy to make good on the defective products. It is severely worn, more so than any La-Z-Boy product I have had for 15 years or more. The fabric is delaminating and ragged far more than could be expected for three years. I'm hoping you will reply. A message I left a week ago on your website went unanswered. But I would like you to replace or repair the chair.

We have used La-Z-Boys exclusively in our 45 year marriage. We have had nine La-Z-Boy recliners. The last two we bought in 2015. Both had to go back for repairs within a year, so we're covered by warranty. However, one of the two was not properly fixed and now we have it in again for the same repair. It will cost us $300 for labor. For $300 we could buy another brand and have it last longer than this La-Z-Boy did. It is unfortunate that La-Z-Boy seems to be declining in quality. The other La-Z-Boys we have owned are still in use, either by us or by our relatives. But now that recent purchases have failed, La-Z-Boy has lost this customer, and we will be looking for a new recliner in another brand. Very disappointed, both in quality of chairs and quality of customer service people we have talked to about this situation.

I have been trying to schedule a service call for my parents. I waited on hold for 13 minutes, then hung up and pressed the prompt for a salesperson who told me that it's Monday and the waiting time is always like that. I have now called back and my hold time is 12:38 and still waiting. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

This is my 2nd La-Z-Boy Recliner I have purchased. I purchased this recliner from the Wilmington NC location. I dealt with 2 people Ray the MGR and Nick my salesman. I just had to write that it was just a wonderful experience with no pressure whatsoever! Also they were so friendly and most of all very professional. I am counting the weeks and days till it arrives and I can relax and get a very good message when I am enjoying some good television. Furniture was combined with great customer service. I walked in expecting to have to argue but to my surprise found management to be the exact opposite. Our new couch and chair are wonderful and we could not be happier. We looked everywhere before purchasing. We selected La-Z-Boy for quality, professionalism and an expectation of service. I honestly believe our situation tested their limits of customer satisfaction but they came out swinging and completely satisfied us! Substandard Fabric Quality at Premium Pricing. The fabric on one of the recliners delivered in 11/15 has holes worn in a couple of places. Customer service just advised me that it's out of the one year warranty period (by about 2 months) and the only thing that can be done is for me to purchase a replacement arm and seat to the tune of $600. Because it is a printed fabric, of course no guarantees can be made that the colors or pattern will match. And then the warranty is only 90 days on the new parts. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was advised she was the manager and no one would give me any different info. Seriously La-Z-Boy? How disappointing that you don't stand behind your products.
The fabric on this chair was an upgrade Q. Most of the cost of this chair ($1,300) is the upgraded fabric. Which has holes worn in it in 14 months! This "upgraded" fabric should be expected to last many, many years, not just a handful of months. So now I am stuck with a very expensive piece of new furniture with holes in it. Again, so very disappointing on so many levels.

We bought a La-Z-Boy couch 4 years ago and are more than happy with it. So we returned to La-Z-Boy for our second couch. This experience, however, has been horrible. When we got our couch, we immediately called the store. It is extremely uncomfortable! There is minimal back cushions and a huge gap between the top cushions and bottom cushions. You sink down as soon as you sit on it and all the sections squeak. We have had 4 visits to repair the couch, which have all been unsuccessful. With the last visit, the man took pictures to submit to La-Z-Boy. We were told we would get a call by the end of last week. We called again on Monday and we again told we would get a call later in the week. This has been going on for almost a year! This is terrible customer service. We are extremely dissatisfied with our product and the service we have received. We will no longer recommend La-Z-Boy after this experience.

Being a disabled veteran I was in need of a recliner that gives me assist in reclining. I purchased the La-Z-Boy Jasper power recliner and have had 3/4 quarters of the recliner with replacement parts. The first time I had problems with the chair it took two months for replacement of the arm, the seat and the back for them to get! I now have been waiting one month for parts to fix the seat again and the replacement back has material doubling up to further add to my disability discomfort to my back!
I have purchased a two hundred dollar recliner from Walmart because this chair is absolutely useless to me. Less than one month of purchasing the recliner is when 3/4 quarters of the chair showed signs of defective parts and material. Is this how all La-Z-Boy customers are treated and is this the workmanship they put in all their chairs/furniture?? This is no way to do business. I am out two hundred dollars for having to buy a Walmart chair - which is better and having a one thousand dollars having less than one month of use out four months! Ridiculous!

Two weeks ago today I was delivered my New La-Z-Boy leather sofa... When delivered there were a couple indentations in the sofa and a lack of proper cushioning on one of the backs of the sofa and the official La-Z-Boy delivery boys in their official shirts told us no problem. They will come out and repair by themselves in a couple of days when the sofa settles but that we could call the store and they would take care of it.
I immediately called the store and they said that they could repair it but not replace my sofa because we accepted delivery. Since then a service representative has come out to take pictures and wanted to use a heat gun on my new sofa to repair which I refused to let him do. All I want is for them to replace the backs of sofa and make right on this purchase. So friends let everyone know how bad the customer service is with this company and not to make a purchase from La-Z-Boy!! Need help. Jan 23 still no resolve. Worst company ever dealt with.

Aaron at the Balzac location was fantastic in helping us select the couch style, fabric and material for pillows for our couches. He was honest, thoughtful, courteous and prompt. He made the buying experience relaxed and fun!

I just purchased my power sectional in September 2016. It is now January 31, 2017. The end recliner will not close entirely so I called Customer Service. After being on hold for about 25 minutes, I was informed that they would not be able to come out to make repairs until March 2nd!! The customer service rep was very professional & I know it was out of her hands but I think that this is ridiculous and feel that I spent so much more purchasing from La-Z-Boy rather than other furniture stores thinking I would receive better quality furniture and better customer service. I am very disappointed. With that being said, the sales rep at the actual store was delightful & I do love my furniture. I am just not thrilled with the repair time frame.

I called La-Z-Boy to order parts for my recliner. The customer service rep asked for tag numbers under the chair. He informed me my chair was mfg in 1998 which was close to my purchase date. I was afraid parts wouldn't be available anymore. He informed me parts were available and would send them directly to me as I didn't have a repair service close by. La-Z-Boy charged me nothing, sent it UPS and I received the parts in a few days! What a warranty and a great company to deal with! I'd highly recommend La-Z-Boy! 19 years old and going strong.

We ordered $7,000 worth of living room furniture over Thanksgiving and it was delivered in the middle of December. The furniture arrived damaged, broken, and stained. It took a month and a half for the furniture to be redelivered. Now 1 day after being delivered, the legs on the one of the pieces of the furniture have broken. So that makes it both times the furniture has been delivered, that we have been given broken furniture of poor quality. This experience has been TERRIBLE and a waste of money.

La-Z-Boy repaired my recliners to new condition.

Delivery men delivered 2 rocker recliners and just about ran out the door. Recliner had a split wooden base and lopsided chair and back cushions. 2 minutes later when I called them they said I'd have to contact the store, "We just deliver and don't come back, speak with the store you purchased them from". Took 3 months to have it repaired but they refused to replace the recliner stating "it's a custom order fabric and we'll repair it not replace." $2,000 and I have to have something repaired not returned and replaced. Both pieces already look old, wrinkled fabric. No help from the store, "I'm just the salesman, you have to speak with the repairman".
I would have liked to return both pieces for a full refund. If you purchased furniture new it should be new, if delivered smashed it should be returned and a new piece should be delivered not repaired. A whole new seat cushion, bottom wooden rocker frame was replaced and seat back cushioning had to be added. What did the seat back cushioning have to do with the repair, it was not made right from the factory. There was not enough cushion fabric in the seat back from the beginning.

I'm so mad! We have a La-Z-Boy rocker recliner that has a lifetime guarantee on the mechanism. The footrest is broken. We contacted La-Z-Boy who referred us to Leon's where we bought it. Leon's says because of the age of the chair, (it's about 10 to12 years old) we would have to pay $450 to $500 to have it fixed. Just what is considered a lifetime? The chair has broken before and we had to pay $200 to have it fixed. My 76 year old husband just had a heart attack and has to have his feet elevated above his heart. He can't do this because of his broken chair. His health is poor and due to various other health issues he lives and sleeps in his chair. We are elderly pensioners who cannot afford to keep paying to have what supposedly is a quality piece of furniture repaired. We purchased this brand over others because of the lifetime guarantee. Now we find that their lifetime guarantee means nothing.
It was not worth the extra money we paid for this brand. Between the amount we paid earlier to have it fixed and what they want us to pay for another repair we could buy a new chair.. We don't have the money to have it fixed and so my poor husband must endure being uncomfortable while recuperating from his heart attack and other painful medical issues. Just what exactly is a lifetime guarantee if we have to keep paying to have it fixed.

Purchased furniture totally wrong for our space because salesman discouraged me from special order because it would take long time. He told me sob story about needing to get paid before he had to move, sold me 2 pieces, in stock to be ordered the following week. Then we found out about designer service and when she arrived she was shocked to see what I had bought. Wrong sofa for room, which I found out because it is much less comfortable than the Ashley (I think) and terrible for watching TV, which was its purpose. Designer should have been referred first, helped us first, and I ordered more furniture with her help to add to what I had to make it look nice. Looking nice is not what I need. I need comfort for a TV room. The order was put in Nov and has not been delivered yet although custom pieces were long done and I was waiting for an expensive table from Uttermost. Waste of time, money and totally dissatisfied.
I am 65 and will have to live with this expensive furniture for 15 more years. I should have gone to Rooms to Go or Kanes. I will never recommend La-Z-Boy to anyone again. Am considering canceling delivery and canceling financing since the Jan 29 date (promised and passed) was not met. This has been a very bad experience from the beginning. Very bad. If I were rich I would move this to another room but I don't have another room to move it to. So I'm stuck and I blame La-Z-Boy for not apprising me of my right to a free decorator before buying. Have been using bar stools for tables for months. Sick of it.

I had a recliner that I bought about 7 years ago. It got to where I couldn't get out of it no more, so I had to get a different one and we bought a recliner a month ago. The delivery crew was good and did a nice job. I thought they were going to deliver the other stuff too as a guy called me one Saturday morning and said that he’d be there to deliver some stuff that day and I took it for granted that it was them. I asked what time and he said between 11:00 and 2:00, but nobody showed up. So now they've called and said that the stuff is at the store and we should stop in and pick it up, which we will in the next couple of days if we can get down to Appleton. Aside from that, I got no problems about the chair and would recommend it.

Our old couch was falling apart and needed to be replaced, so we decided to purchase new furniture. We then bought a sectional from La-Z-Boy. Their salespeople in the store and their design specialist were helpful. In fact, we were very indecisive. We knew which one we wanted but didn't know if we were ready to spend our money on it, and the people in the store were very helpful. The delivery people were on time. They came in and did their job. I expected a little bit more for the price, but the quality is good. As a whole, it was a good experience.

I purchased a lift chair and a recliner from La-Z-Boy for my father who was moving into a new apartment. My sister and I were trying to decide on these chairs for my dad and the sales rep was helpful with answering questions and helping me pick out the chair. She wrote down the information because I said I had to verify with my sister if she agreed with my choices.
My sister was in charge of the furniture part of this move and when she called the store to purchase the two chairs and arrange for delivery, they would not do it because she was out of state with a credit card which I don't understand. They said that she had to have a photo ID when she walked in and they refused to let her purchase the chairs. My sister questioned that a number of times. She said she can buy online with a credit card and that she can call them up and give them her credit card number. I had to go down and ask them to put it down on my credit card and when I went there no one asked me for my federal ID. I told them I understood if they would have a day delay but have never heard of not being able to purchase a piece of furniture from a store when one lives too far away to go there with a federal ID. They were adamant and they have this screwy policy. If one has the money to purchase something, one should be able to purchase it.
But apart from that, the delivery guys delivered the items at the correct time in the apartment which was vacant then and also set the furniture up very nicely. We didn't have to move them an inch. The items have very high quality. I got a Black Friday sales price on them that they honored even though I got it a few days later, which was really nice and so we got a really good value.

I wanted a chair that would fit me so I went looking and got a recliner from La-Z-Boy. The reps showed me what they had, let me look around and let me try them without pressuring me. They were very courteous and knowledgeable too. I scheduled the delivery of my purchase and the delivery people were very good. They brought the chair in, showed me how everything worked and made sure that it was in good shape.

Not happy with my furniture I bought from La-Z-Boy. After 2 years my leather couch is peeling and the chair I picked to match is also doing the same thing. I was told by the sales person it would not do this if I used their product which I have fateful used. I have used the cleaner and conditioner that you told me to. So now what? I don't get to enjoy my furniture. I have it covered to be hidden. I was so excited my husband bought these for me. To know that we paid a lot for this furniture. I am so disappointed in La-Z-Boy. By the way we have been La-Z-Boy's customers for years.

Purchased my La-Z-Boy Sofa & Love seat and have had the group since Mid September 2016. Now the group are very comfortable, however when I sit down on either the sofa or loveseat I hear an unstable rattle sound. Just moving on the furniture the sound is there. The furniture should be solid with no sound when you move on the furniture. Just an irritating sound. Other than that, I do love my furniture. I have had La-Z-Boy in the past and have been very happy with the quality of my furniture. Thank you.

I received delivery of 10 pieces of brand new custom ordered La-Z-Boy furniture on December 16, 2016. The designer I dealt with at the Newport News, Va store arrived that afternoon when I called to say I had received damaged furniture. She contacted Comfort Care and requested they come out. I assumed this was the process to have replacement furniture ordered. It was almost 2 weeks later before they were able to come out, and I was asked if I preferred repair or replacement. I indicated that I absolutely preferred replacement. After not hearing anything even after contacting the store again. I emailed Comfort Care 3 times before I finally got a response on January 23, 2017 to my last complaint regarding lack of responsiveness and failure to stand by the quality of their products and service from manufacturing to delivery and beyond.
I have been informed by email that I will not be getting replacement furniture. I will instead have repaired furniture and it is my responsibility to once again contact Comfort Care when the replacement parts arrive. Last Friday a flimsy piece of cardboard arrived and sat on my doorstep in the rain all day. Evidently that it was is supposed to be used to repair the crushed side of my chair. The second damaged piece I received was a scratched table that someone had clearly tried to cover the scratches.
Before I knew this would be the case, I ordered an additional piece of furniture bringing the total to 11 pieces of furniture and 2 table lamps. I did not invest a significant amount of money to receive repaired furniture. I find that completely unacceptable and have been given no option to escalate my complaint. Failure to deliver what I paid for reflects poorly on La-Z-Boy and does not make me feel valued as a customer.

We had an older recliner that we quit using and wanted to have another one so we bought from La-Z-Boy. The sales rep was friendly and informative. The delivery guys seemed to do a good job, too. All the mechanisms of the recliner seem to work really well and the leather seems good on it, too. But we were thinking about bringing the recliner in because its headrest doesn't seem like it has enough filling. It's leaving an indention. We're gonna see how they act when we bring that in.

Went into store located at 3521 Sheridan Dr., Tonawanda, NY 14226 on 11/22/2016 - just looking for a recliner. One hour later after sitting in all types of recliner/rockers I became the owner of a beautiful recliner/rocker La-Z-Boy. The store manager Allyn ** was very helpful, informative and not a pushy salesperson. She gave me time to explore on my own, made suggestions, gave me many options (price ranges, fabric colors), told me how long it would take to make my chair and when I could expect delivery (approximately seven weeks from date of purchase).
My chair was delivered two days after Christmas by two young men (who were very friendly, professional, set up my chair in a matter of minutes and showed me how to use my chair). When they were finished and made sure I understood everything about using my chair they left. Another thing that impressed me was the fact they called me when they were about ten minutes out from making delivery and again when they arrived at the complex I live in. My experience was a very pleasant one (both with inside the showroom and with the delivery men). I highly would recommend this store for all types of furniture/accessory sales. I'm a very satisfied customer.

Purchased a lift chair for my dad on 12/23/2015. Motor quit working and I notified La-Z-Boy and was told that it had a three year warranty. They then informed me that I would have to pay $116.00 for someone to come and repair it. I thought with the warranty I was safe but I guess not. Last La-Z-Boy for me.

We bought a matching reclining couch and loveseat 3.5 years ago. I specifically chose fabric I thought would hold up well because I knew my small dogs would be on the furniture. The top of the loveseat is ripped to shreds from the dog lying there occasionally and the back cushion has been so misshapen that it is no longer comfortable to sit in. The couch has fared better but there are a few picks in it as well (not from the dog).

Purchased La-Z-Boy reclining sofa, loveseat and chair. The back on the loveseat had caved in where the lumbar support was. There is no back support and you are guaranteed a back ache if you use it. All the other products are still fine. Can't get the dealer to check it. Said the new stuffing may not match the stuffing that is in the loveseat. He advised me to contact an upholsterer. We will gladly pay for new stuffing to be added. I never knew stuffing had to match. What are they matching it to? Sounds like a "cop out" to me. Can't believe this dealer would act like this. We have used nothing but La-Z-Boy in our home for the last 40 years.

Have always had La-z-boy furniture in the past but this recent set is of poor construction and not even assembled properly! Had the tech come look at it but still is terrible. The material isn't sewn properly and recliners do not function right!

My experience was pleasant and successful. I have had several La-Z-Boy pieces over the years and they have always been satisfactory. The salesperson/decorator made personal home visit to determine size that would fit my living room. Furniture arrived timely as promised and decorator arrived at delivery to help place in living space. This was the first time I special ordered furniture without first sitting in and seeing before delivery. So far all is well and I am happy with my new living room furniture.

The furniture we had before was falling apart, so we decided to buy some new furniture. We bought three pieces of furniture and that is the first three that my wife and I have ever bought from La-Z-Boy. We got them right before Thanksgiving. I've had a couple of La-Z-Boy recliners, but they were given to me, and they're gone. We priced other furniture and what we got from La-Z-Boy was a little bit more expensive, but we got a better quality piece of furniture. So, if it's good stuff, I don’t mind paying a little bit more for it. It's an awesome piece of furniture and I love it. If it stays like this for the next couple of years, I'll be buying more for sure.
The guy that was helping and selling the furniture itself was very helpful, courteous, answered all our questions, and he was seriously well informed. He knew exactly what he was talking about. The delivery guys came in, set it all up, and then showed me how to operate it. All the ones that we got are recliners, so they showed me how to put it together and take it apart. In addition, they were ahead of time. So, it was a good experience.
As a matter of fact, my wife and I went back. We had a gal come out and looked at our house, and she was telling us about a couple of different pieces of furniture to buy to go with the recliner. We got a sectional and a loveseat. And she came up with some paint colors, some different furniture, some rugs, and we met back at the store. And also, we bought another end table while we were there. She was really helpful. All in all, the people at La-Z-Boy were really nice. They weren't pressuring us to buy a piece of furniture. We had an idea of what we were looking for, but they went that extra distance to help us out to find exactly what we're looking for.

My dad has bought from La-Z-Boy for years and decided to buy me the first one I've had in my home. The furniture is of great quality. Also, the delivery team was courteous and they called us to ask if a certain date and time would work for the delivery. They arrived on time and put it all together. In December went to La-Z-Boy. Looking for new front room furniture. Had bought La-Z-Boy recliner previously. My husband like the Cranston recliner with the extendable foot rest. So bought him the chair and also a couch. After getting them home and situated decided I would like another recliner. So went back to La-Z-Boy and asked if we could get the matching print on the new chair the same as we had just bought in December. Was told "Yes. But it takes 6-10 weeks." We fine with that. So I picked out a chair, that was a factory special for 399.00. Knew it would be more for the other fabric. But was shocked that it was $$$$ more. All the sales person could say was it is better fabric. Wow. So now to get the chair is the same material as the one we just purchased was $300.00 more. Ridiculous. But now stuck. So am paying the price to get matching material on my new chair. So beware of the price.

Future Customer, Look no further! I was wowed by the etiquette and detailed explanations of the sales representatives here at La-Z-Boy, and not only was I able to find a great deal on two amazing leather chairs, I got a crash course in different types of leather. I quickly went online to verify everything that had been explained to me, which helped pull the trigger on purchasing two Leighton style chairs for my house. I will definitely purchase more in years to come!

When I bought a massage chair from La-Z-Boy, I told the manager that I was handicapped and needed a chair seriously fast, but that didn't work. I was told six weeks, but I'm still waiting for the chair to come. I have called to talk to him three times and left messages, but he never called me back. I want them to call me and tell me when it's coming.

Nearly $4,000 for a leather love seat and sofa from La-Z-Boy (a company I have loved for years... and now a HUGE disappointment.) We only live in Florida half the year so, even though we've owned these two special order pieces for 18 months, we've only used them seven. Now, we've noticed definite manufacturing defects... stitches coming apart, leather on the sides of the footrests cracking and showing white under the flimsy leather coating, and mechanism defects. We're out of luck... Warranty is only 12 months. These pieces are destined to be junk in another year or two of use. What a shame.

The whole process was great. Sales staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. We purchased taking advantage of a pre-Christmas sale; we got a great buy. We did have to return to the store as there was a small error in the paperwork, which meant I had to re-sign one document. No issues there. Furniture was delivered on time and we're very pleased with it! The only critique I would offer is that it did take ~6 weeks to get our furniture (it had to be manufactured); this was what the sales people told us it would take but it would obviously have been that much nicer to not have such a delay. All told I would strongly recommend La-Z-Boy to friends.

We bought a lounger several months ago. We already had one from several years ago and were very happy. Not this time. Within days we noticed our chair had stitching that was pulling apart. We took it back for a replacement. Within a couple of months we noticed strange noises while operating the recline mechanism. This lead to difficulty in operation the recliner function and finally the mechanism actually separated from the wood.
We took the chair to the closest repair facility and were told it would be weeks (as in months) before it would be ready. We were not even given an approximate time for the substantial repair that was required and the company refused to replace it. The chair was six months old. If you want a well made piece of furniture with a really good warranty, you might think twice before buying from La-Z-Boy. We may just have gotten a lemon but that doesn't explain the excessive repair time or the company's refusal to replace a six month old chair with major internal damage.

From ordering to delivery outstanding service and product. My sales rep, Kiesha **, was personable and so very helpful. Because I was re-doing the room I needed a few extra days to finish up before delivery. The store was very accommodating. The delivery men were informative and very pleasant. I have nothing but praise for the whole experience. Oh, and I love, love, love my new sofa with recliners on the sides. So comfy. Thank you for a very pleasant experience!

We have owned La-Z-boy furniture pieces for over 30 years and have been pleased with the quality of every piece until recently. I purchased a Addison recliner with a requested fabric other than what was standard for that chair. The purchase was on 11-3-2016, first chair arrived about 5 weeks later. I did not accept delivers as the side panel was not attached, there was glue on the seat and the upholstery on the arm was ill fitting and puckered. I requested a new chair and it arrived on 1-18-17.
There were no obvious flaws when I accepted delivery, but I have to say the quality is just not there. The attention to basic details is just not there. The base of the chair is made of pressed plywood, not like my other chair that has a hard wood base. I understand that companies have to make a profit and that the cost of materials increase, but when you pay over $600.00 for a chair one would expect it to be of better quality.
Our first La-Z-Boy chair was purchased in 1980, has been reupholstered 3 times and is still sound. I would have kept it but I couldn't find anyone locally to reupholster a recliner, so the next thing to do was to purchase what we thought to be another long lasting chair from La-Z-Boy. I questioned why there were no protective arm rest covers and was told "they are not included, it will cost $50.00 extra." Who charges $50.00 for two fabric arm rest covers? I am afraid I don't have faith that will be the case. I am also disappointed in their customer service, have sent several emails and taken a survey and have not had a response from anyone as of this writing. Even though I like the chair enough to keep it at this point, I could not recommend La-Z-Boy.

I had visited the store at least two times before I made my final selection. When I did, the sales associate was prompt and very efficient about processing my purchase and annotating the chair and accessories that I wanted. You cannot beat the quality of La-Z-Boy. MADE IN THE USA! Yes, you pay more but you will get a chair that will last 20 or 30 years. They have a lifetime warranty on the chair frame. I have another La-Z-Boy that I bought about 27 years ago. It could use some new cushioning and covering material. Other than that, it is still a very comfortable chair. La-Z-Boy beats all others, hands down!

We purchased a sectional from La-Z-Boy Furniture. The fabric is already pilling. The purchase date was September 26, 2016. We only had it a couple of months. This sectional cost us 4,107.83. Why are paying for a warranty? Can something be done about this?

Visited gallery in Jacksonville FL and ended up paying $8500 for a couch, chair, 2 end tables and a sofa table. After writing up the order was told some of the furniture had to be manufactured. This is our winter home and we were leaving shortly for our summer home and was assured they would hold the furniture until we could accept it although half the order was available to deliver earlier so we asked our daughter if she could go to our vacant home and accept the furniture and she did. We came back for a weekend visit and the lift up coffee table was scratched so wife called and they brought a new table out, that was fine.
Finally the recliner chair was finished and they called at our summer home and again we had our daughter go to the vacant house to accept it. The alarm system and my son in law went to check it and told us that the chair was damaged. We called La-Z-Boy and advised them that there was some damage to the chair and they balked. Later they sent someone out to fix it that didn't have the right parts. I was fed up and called and just hit a hard time about "customer damage", problem was that no one was at the home to damage it. I told them to give me a refund and again they balked. Look the furniture is better than average slightly but for what they charge for it they should have excellent customer service instead of trying to screw people.

Our decision to refurnish an oddly-shaped living area was fraught with concern over balancing functional, aesthetic appeal, room for a large family and contemporary style. Our salesperson was genuinely interested in how to meet our needs without pressure and was instrumental in our decision to purchase La-Z-Boy. He encouraged us to meet with their design expert who was also very knowledgeable, in tune with our wish list and even pushed out to consider different colour choices than we naturally would have. Using their 3D tool, we got a good picture of what each choice would look like and that was crucial to our choice. The products were all custom designed, arrived on time and the delivery and installation team was spectacular. It's early days and we are thoroughly enjoying the room. We are very pleased with the entire process from sales, design, delivery and would highly recommend the Nepean location to anyone.

We purchased a Dexter Leather Sofa from La-Z-Boy in August 2014. Immediately we had issues with sagging. It took an exhaustive amount of time and unbelievable pleading to have someone out to assess it. A tech came out and tore the entire sofa apart and stuffed wads of fiberfill (similar to toy stuffing) into the cushion. He put it back together and said all is well. It was lumpy, looked terrible and unsatisfactory. I was never able to get anyone else out.
In the meantime we moved. I called to get service to come out again and try to remedy this. This sofa was $2000. They ask for ACK: I give it to them. They tell me that isn't the ACK: It became so frustrating, I took a picture of the label and sent to Customercare@lzbsoutheast.com and they then told me that label was worthless, that they couldn't use any of those numbers. That is the only label on this sofa. They simply want your money but don't stand behind their products like they used to. I won't buy La-Z-Boy again. They did offer to come out at the rate of $99/house call and $75/hr to fix anything that needs to be fixed. No warranty.

I have a sectional which has to lock together. And the day that La-Z-Boy delivered it, a piece was bent so it was unable to be locked. It also had a little smudge on the arm, so they had to order me another one. Then, two days before Christmas, I ordered a table with a bar stool. The stool has a big bottom and the back comes up and around. It just broke off and splintered.
The designer felt like it wasn't stuffed enough, but La-Z-Boy wouldn't let me bring the broken chair back. I thought they would at least let me get the one that sat on the floor. They said I had to wait on customer care, but it's been six weeks. The manager said there was a confirmation and they had the date on the 12th, which I accepted. Then the customer care department called to verify, and they were supposed to call me two days before they came to let me know the exact time and whether it's going to be a morning or an evening appointment. But nobody called. When I called them, there was no answer. And when I called the Annapolis store, they said I was scheduled.
So that morning at 8:00, I called customer care and they said they didn't have me scheduled. The rep said she’d look at another system, and then came back and said the system is down and they didn't have me scheduled. Then she asked me if I could spell my name or if any other name could be on the system. I told her that I called to verify the time, then she said if that was the case, then I’m scheduled and she'll call me back by 10:00. But nobody ever called. I called back and forth all day long and then my husband took over. He sat waiting, called the Annapolis store, but they're closed for some repricing. They told me I was definitely scheduled and the technician would probably call before he'd come.
Then at 5:30 in the afternoon, customer care department called to tell me I wasn't scheduled. There was a glitch in their system and they apologized. And then two minutes later, the escalation department from customer care called to tell me the same thing. So now I'm still back to the end of January to have them come out. They won't do anything until somebody comes and looks at what I'm saying, even though I took pictures of everything and showed them.
The designers knew about the chair and they ordered me a new one. But I'm just done. I'm not buying brand new furniture for them to come to my house and repair it, and I'm not paying for the warranty. Everybody who called me and said they were going to call me back, never did. And the lady said, "Well, I couldn't call you." This is what I'm furious about. They should own their mistakes and not try to throw another department under the bus. My patience is running very thin with them. At this point, I want to return the furniture. I already put $3,000 down on the furniture that we purchased from them. And when the bill comes, I'm not paying another dime. I'm so unsatisfied with my furniture. My husband wants to return it too, but of course, they said we couldn't.

We scaled our home down to a much smaller one with less than half of what we had. The scale of my other sofas was just way too large for the rooms I have so we bought two matching sofas from La-Z-Boy. The original saleslady might have been new because I didn't know I had selections available 'till the night after. I went online and saw that I could choose the fancy cushions or some of the updates or trends. So I got her sales manager who helped me with the process.
We live a couple of hours away, but I liked a La-Z Boy product, so I made most of my purchases over the phone. However, my worst selection came in picking fabrics because they have very little classic choices in the way that I would choose. So much stuff has been so modernized, urbanized and streamlined for the millennials that they forgot about all of us old, classic people. There were only three colors that I wanted and I didn't have any of them. So, my next option was white but they only had two white fabrics in the whole line of hundreds of materials. Everything is dark navy, rust brown, beige, and taupe. My friend and I both looked through racks on both sides, and I couldn't find the jewel tone red or a true blue to save my life, which was a disappointment. I picked the white fabric but it just surprises me with what they have and don't have.
My actual sofas turned out three weeks sooner than they said they would be, and it sucked because we had to get everything out of the room so they could be delivered. The delivery people had plastic down and booties on, and they never touched the fabric with their own hands. They used the plastic that it was wrapped in to move and carry and it was pretty impressive that way. However, I saw something like a sewing machine oil splattered on one of the pillows, so I called the sales manager at the store and she had a new one made and sent it out. I got it a few weeks later which was really good. It was well-built. Others don't have the construction that La-Z-Boy typically is known for but what they charge for the headrest, backrest, and armrest is outrageous. So, I ordered a bunch of fabric and did it myself. Arm covers used to come as part of their couch but not anymore. Nothing comes extra.

I am so disappointed in La-Z-Boy policy and warranty. My furniture is just two years old and it looks pathetic. I have pictures from 2014 and what it looks like today and the pillows are terrible to look at. I talked to Sherry in Dallas and then her supervisor Angel and they both could only recite what the warranty says. It is my fault for waiting so long but the problem existed one month after purchase. I am going to post this all over Facebook and social media if I don't get some help.

Purchased a La-Z-Boy chair 50 years ago and it is still going strong. I recently purchased a loveseat reclining chair and immediately fell in love with it. However 3 weeks after this purchase I visited friends who had purchased a La-Z-Boy 3 months prior to our visit. The leather was coming undone and La-Z-Boy told them that the material was not warrantied, only the mechanics. I find this absolutely unacceptable. Will definitely take this into consideration before I purchase another, since this was for sure a defect and the leather had not been sewn with enough fabric to begin with. I would appreciate a reply from La-Z-Boy. Please know that I would not have purchased from La-Z-Boy at all had I known about this unfair practice.

I recently bought a chair and two end tables from La-Z-Boy. The sales people were great. The delivery people just dropped the stuff off and left, and they didn’t notice that both of the tables weren't adjusted correctly. So, I had to have a follow-up visit and that was irritating. The follow-up was satisfactory, though. I called the line for repairs, and they scheduled an appointment a few weeks out. I had to wait three weeks, but the guy who came was very polite. He got it taken care of right away. I love the quality of my new furniture. I was disappointed that the tables didn’t work out, but they're steampunk looking and I really like that look.

The sales representatives at the store were very helpful. The delivery guys had it all together and they just put it in and made sure it was fine. They told me, "Try it. See how it feels." They were very nice. The first one that I'd got from La-Z-Boy back in '89 was great. And so far, the quality of the furniture is good. I hope it'll be a good experience again because that's why I went back. I'm happy I got it. It was kind of expensive but if you get something cheap, it doesn't last.

I have been a La-Z-Boy customer since 1986 when we supplied our first living room with furniture. I loved the reclining sofa pieces and so when it came time to update, back to La-Z-Boy we went. But never again will I buy La-Z-Boy. My favorite chair did not last nearly as well this time, and sits unused because it broke down and getting it repaired has been a nightmare.
When I first called customer service I gave a very detailed description of the problem. I was reminded of the lifetime warranty and all I needed to do was pick up the service call charges. Great! But then I was told it would be several weeks before a repairmen could arrive. So we waited. Only to have the repairmen come out without the appropriate parts needed to complete the repair. "I've ordered your part and it should ship direct to you in a few days. When it arrives call customer service to schedule the return" he said.
Almost two weeks later the part arrives. A call to customer service to get the work completed began the end of my confidence in La-Z-Boy. The best they could commit was yet another month away for a repair call. "But we'll call you back if that improves" (no call of course) and we'll call you the day before the repair to let you know when we'll arrive." Our scheduled date was Monday Jan 16 2017.
On the day before we indeed got a call from the repairmen - "I'll be there between 10 and 2" he says. I told him we now had commitments but will be home by 1:00. He came while we were gone, left a note to call for a reschedule. We again called customer service, expressed our frustration at the lack of flexibility after waiting so long. All we get is a new date: now February 15th - yep, another whole month.
I feel like dumping this piece of unusable furniture and the doorstep of the gallery with a big note so everyone will be warned. What happened to the best furniture company in the U.S.?? Their furniture is going to junk and their customer service is beyond poor. Obviously they just don't care anymore. Two months of waiting. Another month now to wait? Never buying again.

I can't say enough about the service and in store help I had. All my questions were answered and explained. There wasn't any pressure from the saleslady. She was experienced and professional. I discovered a spot on it after it was delivered. I called and within a few days a new sofa was delivered. I have been very pleased with the sofa.

In November my husband and I decided to purchase new reclining chairs and visited the Amherst NY store. Our experience from beginning to end was wonderful! The sales associates were extremely helpful and informative with no pressure for purchasing. The day after purchasing two reclining chairs, we decided to purchase a new couch and a loveseat as well and returned to the store. Same experience again! Our chairs were delivered within two weeks. Our couch and loveseat five weeks later. Different delivery people both times, but both experiences were great with super courteous and professional delivery people. This was a wonderful experience for us, and we are thoroughly enjoying our new furniture. Thank you La-Z-Boy!

This recliner is making noises when you recline it, only have had it for less than 2 months. Squeaking, and scraping sound. Pretty noisy for a new chair. If it's noisy now, what will it be like in a few more months? The fabric has a very obvious chemical smell that hasn't gone away in over a month and a half. I'm not happy with these 2 conditions at all.

The price was too good to be true, and it was. In order to get the color we wanted, it would become a "custom" order, and cost about $600 more. The couch colors did not correspond to the chair colors, unless you wanted the very light or the very dark, ugly, brown color. Cancelled our order and bought from a competitor. Will not go there again!!

Store staff was courteous and helpful. Took a little longer than I would have liked to get the furniture (custom order). Arm rest and head rest covers used to be included. My only option now was to buy additional fabric (1 yard) and have them made by a third party. Decreased the value of purchasing from La-Z-Boy but I really love the product and have been satisfied. This is my third recliner from this store!

After reviewing the situation of my husband suddenly passing, leaving me with an expensive Christmas present that he would not ever enjoy, the owner of the store chose not to show kindness to me by only offering 50% refund to restock the chair. This cause me a great hardship and sadness. I know he's not in the business to show 'charity' but he could have offered to put this chair in a gallery and sold it for me. I would have been grateful to receive only a 15% loss instead of the 50% offered. Not a good 'Christmas Spirit' or compassionate person.

We bought two recliners and two footsteps with storage. The recliners are covered in what was referred to as "recycled leather," pitched to be as comfortable and long wearing as leather, without the maintenance needs of leather. After four years, the outer surface started coming off, revealing black gunk. I opened a claim, **, requesting store credit against the purchase of real leather covered recliners. Response from Customer Care was very slow. I complied with their requests for photographs, then for a scan of the original receipt. I have not had any response to requests for claim status since I sent the receipt scan three weeks ago. Hold times on the phone line are ridiculous. My wife and I are ready to give it up and move on to a competitor.

We placed our order and paid for 3 chairs from La-Z-Boy on November 3rd or so. We were told 6 weeks, so we would have them before the holidays. We recently got a voicemail message that one of the 3 is ready, but no information about the other 2. It has now been over 10 weeks and no news. What happened to the 6 weeks to delivery?

Our first delivery, we received a broken sofa recliner and a very wet recliner chair. La-Z-Boy handled our next two deliveries very well. The delivery guys sometimes arrived before schedule times! Good experience. We love our furniture!

Went to store Veterans Day 11/11/16 to order sofa loveseat and chair. Delivered in one week stained wet and dead gecko. I received call from service to get replacements following week. Never happened. You are only as good as your word. They couldn't keep it. We asked for refund and ordered pickup. Wasn't possible until 1/4/17. They took debit card payment immediately before we received furniture. Had to wait til store received furniture back to get refund. Still wanted to charge for delivery. Are you kidding? I demanded full refund and finally received 1/9/17 almost two months later. The reason we had to wait til January for pickup was: after 11/18/16 we wanted it picked up but they couldn't make it til after December 5. We explained we had a vacation planned Dec 1-24. We'd be back before Christmas. We gave them 12 days to fix it. Our house sat empty for most of December.
Immediately when we hit home, we called them, which we were instructed to, and even though they were expecting our call before Christmas they still couldn't get organized enough to pick up for 11 more days. We believe since the furniture wasn't wrapped in plastic when it came off the truck, and the stain on the couch was already wet, like someone already tried to clean it off, and the dead gecko was found between the cushions on the loveseat... that it was taken from a floor sample. So, if you buy from La-Z-Boy please inspect furniture as soon a delivery truck arrives. Buyer beware.

I contact La-Z-Boy last week reporting uncomfortable experience using the loveseat and requested for help to improve the comfort level on the same. After I provided all the transaction details upon request, I was advised I contact the store to get the issue resolved which I respect and I did contact the store on Stevenscreek Blvd San Jose. I was offered to replace an exchange for the same couch with lumbar and neck support for an additional payment of $680 which I agreed to duly.
But then, when the time came for the billing and closing out this deal, I was requested to pay $110 for delivery charges again. This I believe is not fair as uncomfortable couch is not consumer's fault. It is the design's fault. To remedy this, if I have to pay for the lumbar and neck support I understand the additional costs. However I have already paid for the delivery and I must not be. I had immense regard for La-Z-Boy since my childhood. It was a friend's TV show that made me dream of buying one. Now that I finally pay so much money to feel like I got ripped off. Is there something La Z Boy can do about this?

My mom wanted a sleeper couch so we purchased a sectional from La-Z-Boy. It took us three or four times going in the store to do different measurements before we reached our decision and their sales reps were very friendly. We got enough help from all of them and they answered any questions that we had pretty fast. Everybody was nice and thorough.

We have bought several recliners from La-Z-Boy. This one which has the electric controls for lumbar, head and recliner has been so far our best purchase. The salesperson was excellent at the store in Cerritos. She didn't hurry us or pressure us but gave us time in the chair to assure us it was the right fit.

Sometimes there's a room where you want recliners to not look like recliners and that is the situation in our living room. It is between the kitchen/dining and the 3-season porch so we didn't want any "bulk" to the chairs. We are very happy with the chairs and with the lovely fabric. We needed a basic sleeper sofa for our basement living area. After reviewing the various options on the market online, I mostly settled on the Leah sleeper from La-Z-Boy. My husband and I visited the Louisville store to check it out and make sure it was what we wanted. The store is pleasant, with helpful sales staff who explain things clearly and in a no-pressure manner. Don ** was our salesperson and I can recommend him highly - he reminded us to measure our entry door to make sure the sofa would fit through. When I called him from home later, he reassured me that it would be ok. We ended up picking the full-sized sofa with the basic mattress option. The sofa arrived sooner than I expected, just as we ordered, and delivery was a snap. We're pleased with the sofa and the experience.

I thought I could refinance the whole cost but had to put almost $1,000 on my charge. Spent A LOT of money just to have them back to my house 3 times within 1 and a half months. The worst is that this is the first time in my life I bought brand new living room furniture and thought I was going with high quality stuff. NOT... The first 2 problems have seen to be fixed however the skirt on my $1200 couch is NOT the same length and differs from 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch in different places and they say that's acceptable. Well I don't and now there's not a damn thing they will do to fix this problem. I'm very unhappy with La-Z-Boy and out all that money I could've spent on cheaper furniture that would've probably stood behind their stuff.

We had a wonderful experience dealing with La-Z-Boy! Our salesperson was very knowledgeable and friendly. He also gave us some helpful ideas, of what would look good together, with color schemes, with all the pieces of furniture that we purchased. Our only complaint with the couch set, that we bought, is that the back cushions of the love seat and the sofa are too soft, when you sit back on them. The seat cushions also could be firmer, for our taste. We looked at many furniture stores, for very firm couches, that were a brown color and durable. It seems to be very difficult to find firm couches anymore. Overall, we had a very good experience at La-Z-Boy, in Albuquerque, on Ellison, and we will return to purchase more furniture there, in the future.

Outstanding place to shop! All help, no stress and not pushy. We went for a new chair for my wife. She found one on sale that she liked, but it wasn't exactly what she wanted. The sales associate took us to the chair she liked from the sale, but at the same time listened to my wife's description of what she really would love. He then took us to another chair that he thought fit her true desires. He nailed it and my wife sit in it and said to him, "This is the chair. I'll take this one I'm sitting in." As you can see, a done deal. The only draw back is that the location is totally terrible, traffic is unbearable, not a easy place to get into or out of. But there again, the sales associate told us how to cut through several parking lots to get to a light to get out a little easier! If it wasn't for the traffic, we would of already been back again.

We were looking for new furniture 'cause ours was so old and it was my parents'. We went to the La-Z-Boy furniture gallery to look and they mentioned that they had an interior designer that would come out and measure our walls. They also used an AutoCAD program to figure out how things would best be arranged in the room because I was struggling with the placement of my sofas in the room.
Hayley came out and she measured and we talked about different color schemes. My style is very traditional and she did a fantastic job. And we came back a few weeks later and she showed us the AutoCAD program and we plugged in different sectionals. I originally didn't even want a sectional but my husband wanted one. And once I saw it in the layout of the room, I knew that was what I wanted.
We can seat so many people now in our living room and I have no regrets. At first, I was like, "Just remember this moment. You got your sectional. But when this thing has worn out, I get my regular loveseat sofa." After it got delivered and I got everything decorated I was like, "Wow, I would not have been as happy with sofas." It was perfect. The quality has been really good. With three kids bouncing on it, I haven't had a tear. We even got the stain guard. We haven't had it a super long time but normally I notice that cushions start losing their shape and so far nothing's lost its shape so I'm very happy. The delivery guys were also on time and did a great job. They kept everything clean and were fast, too. I've told my friends to find a La-Z-Boy near them and get someone to come out to help them.

My mom bought things from La-Z-Boy before and when we needed furniture for our second home, I went to a La-Z-Boy store to buy their products. They are a little bit pricey for what it really is because I bought recliners from other places and they're a lot better quality for 1,200 bucks than the La-Z-Boy chairs are. They got up to close to $1,200 by the time I put the spinners on them and had it custom made. One of them was 1,200 bucks but it's a nice chair. Also, the pillows for $75 each were overpriced too.
On the other hand, we had a house warming party and the La-Z-Boy chairs weren't the only things we purchased. We got a sofa and a bedroom set. Everybody loves and raves about the La-Z-Boy chairs. They went goo-goo eyed over the pillows, the fabric and the little chair that I had made with the bright things that they look like sand dollar in bright lime green and grey color which is cool because it's for a little beach condo. The small chair held my step son who weighs about 350 pounds, so there were no weight issues. It's very good, comfortable and cool. Although they are overpriced, I'm very happy with my La-Z-Boy and that was my choice to pay more than I thought it was worth.

We bought a Tripoli power sofa and found it very uncomfortable. So we decided to exchange it for a another and fortunately we got charged 30% restocking fee which turns out to be more than $2100. Hopefully the new one will make us happy but I'm not too pleased about the 30% restocking fee. Rather excessive.

We bought a sofa set for $3700 with 5 yr warranty. The components are breaking apart within a year. We moved to Alabama from MA. They don't provide the free visit that came with 5 yr warranty we originally purchased in MA. Waste of money. Later, we found that the warranty is useless, we have to pay for the labor which is very expensive in 100s. The local nearest store in Birmingham 1 hr drive. The people are rude and non-responsive any needs. We made a huge mistake buying La-Z-Boy.

We LOVE the Baylor power recliner - it's perfect. It looks great with our traditional style living room too. Sharon ** was very helpful to us as we were deciding which recliner to get. Would not recommend this company to anyone. Everything is great until they have your money. If anything goes wrong from that point good luck! The delivery company they use is awful... Damaged property and didn't even put the furniture together correctly. I had to wait almost a month for someone to come out to fix the furniture (that is scheduled but still hasn't happened). Then I still don't know when my property that was damaged is going to be fixed...
La-Z-Boy just pushed me off to the delivery company and said I would have to deal with them as far as getting my property repaired. It has been almost a month since I submitted photos of the damage to this company La-Z-Boy uses and haven't heard a thing or gotten any response to my inquiries for status updates. To even get to this point in the process I had to make several calls to La-Z-Boy and follow up on those calls because they never call you back. Overall just very poor customer service... I would think after spending over $4,000 on furniture at their store they would be calling me to get this corrected and they would be dealing with the delivery company that they hired not the customer.

Very happy with my furniture but I was told that it was 36 months of zero financing and after I received first bill it's actually 24 months of zero financing. I checked the paperwork that was given to me at the store and the salesperson did write 36 months on it. I was a little disappointed about that.

I ordered a high end chair power everything. When I got it home it just didn't work for me. I liked most of the options but the leg rest and lumber hurt my back so much I had to return the chair and received a in store credit. I picked out a lesser chair and it has been great. My problem is I now have a credit of over $800.00 and I already have a living room full of La-Z-Boy things. I would just like to get my cash back. I tried but store says no refunds on returns after a set time. I love my La-Z-Boy things and I will buy again. I just want my money back.

We had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. 3 different people helped us to find the perfect couches and custom fabric. This also includes a professional decorator coming to our home to help design the layout AND that's included for free! The furniture arrives in a reasonable amount of time and is delivered by helpful delivery guys. They even helped move an older couch out of the way first. We purchased with half down and no interest on the balance so it can be paid off before that even hits us. We had to go back to add an end table and received just as much help, not to mention because the salespeople there worked hand in hand with us, they already had an idea of what would match. Again it was a great experience. We would definitely so do it again!

I had a furniture at a different home that wore out. The La-Z-Boy furniture didn't, so we decided to buy a La-Z-Boy again because it lasts a long time. We've had our old La-Z-Boy furniture for 15 years. I had the help of a designer who came out to the house to look, and she was very helpful. So far, it has been a very positive experience, and I'd probably get the furniture in the next couple of weeks. They said I'd receive the furniture within four to six weeks. This was three or four weeks ago.

I have had La-Z-Boy recliners for many years and I love the chairs durability and the mechanisms. I have never had any problems with material fading or wearing out. I also have some wedge tables to go along with my recliners. Love those as well. All my chairs look like brand new, the only thing I wish is that there was some way for La-Z-Boy to replace the seat cushions when they wear out or even do a 50/50 cost so customer could have an option to replace the seat cushion. Two of my chairs are at probably 8-10 years old and look brand new but when you sit on them you can feel the bones of the chair or the structure whatever you call it. So it is not very comfortable, yet the chairs are beautiful. That's my only complaint on the chairs. And of course to have the seats redone by an upholsterer you might as well buy new chairs.

Went in looking for new sofa and love seat. We love that the sales personnel ask what we might be interested in and point us in the right direction. They do NOT hover over us and there is definitely no pressure to buy! They make themselves available for questions and are ALWAYS pleasant and very knowledgeable of their products. We purchased our sofa during the Veterans Day Sale. We'd been looking at it for a while, but the sale price saved us about 35% so we were very happy with the deal. The sofa is wonderful. The sales staff is always helpful and never pushy (which I really appreciate). Besides the sofa, over the years I've purchased a couple of recliners also. I'm always happy with the quality of the products and the shopping experience.

I have had 2 previous recliners that had heat and vibrated. The previous two had heat and vibration in the seat and back. I assumed this one would also. Well, it only has heat and vibration on the back, and the control is awkward and prone to be activated easily because the control buttons stick up and are easily bumped. The stitching on the armrests are spaced far apart. The closer the stitching the tighter it will hold. I asked the salesperson if I could buy some of the material so I could have arm covers made. She said it was not available in that fabric for some reason that, to me, sounded like B.S. I have always bought La-Z-Boy furniture because it's made here in Missouri. I will shop around in the future. I am not as satisfied as in the past.

We were looking for good furniture that would last us a while and were shopping around all day. We made our last stop at the location in Algonquin and started looking around, the sales lady Wendy ** approached us with a warm welcoming smile and asked if she could help. We spent quality time walking the sales floor with her, gave her the dimensions of a couch we were looking for and she showed us several options. She explained everything to know about the furniture La-Z-Boy sells and stands by. She recommended things that we didn't know about like furniture protection, cleaning and care, mattress care for the sleeper sofa we purchased.
Our overall experience was amazing not only with the product but the sales staff at the Algonquin location as well. Several days later I went back so that I could purchase a chair that went with our Kennedy sleeper couch, when I walked in she immediately greeted me and helped yet again. Thank you! We love our new furniture and would purchase again from La-Z-Boy throughout our lifetime.

We came into the Annapolis, Maryland La-Z-Boy store looking for a sofa and loveseat and ended up with a beautifully designed living room. We found out about their in-home design program. Destiny, the designer, met with us at our home. She wanted to get an idea of our taste and hopes for our home. Destiny took such care to find out if there were particular pieces we'd like to include from our home in the new living room. She actually made a grandmother clock my father had built become the focal point of the room. She showed us a 3D design of the room. It was amazing!! Everything was great!!
The quality of the furniture and the layout of the room make it my favorite room in the house. Even the delivery team was great and Destiny came to the house for delivery to make sure everything was perfect!! I would purchase from La-Z-Boy again, as a matter of fact we did! I highly recommend La-Z-Boy furniture and the in-home design, that was incredible!!

I've always wanted a recliner so I purchased one from La-Z-Boy. Their reps were delightful and very helpful. I sat on the chair for an hour so I'd know I'd pick the right chair for me and if it is tolerable. They were fantastic and decided that's going to be my chair for the rest of my life. Their delivery crew were very pleasant as well. However, they forgot to Velcro my fabric to my chair so it was dragging on the floor and if I sit back it would drag even more. I was afraid if I reclined it would rip. It's very uncomfortable and it makes a lot of noise. I have no idea how to Velcro it so I visited the store to see if they could show me how to do it but it was really hard.
The guy came out and he fixed the Velcro problem for me but the wooden arm got chipped. I didn't know how it got chipped. I had the arm which was delivered to my house waiting for me here in my hallway. He also adjusted some screws but it's terrible now, I hate it. It makes all sorts of noises and it's hard for me to push back. I've been waiting for him to come and readjust those screws.
It took over a month to get somebody out here. I had two ottomans that I ordered to go with my sofa and I got them on casters and the casters were broken from delivery. I told them to bring some casters when they come out to fix the fabric because I can't roll the ottomans on my floor without ruining my floor. I've had it over in a corner now since November without being used because there were no casters brought. So I have two casters and a new arm waiting for me so I called and they're not coming until the end of January. So it's been months before I can even use my furniture. I've been too subjunctive with the whole experience.
I'm dissatisfied with how long I have to wait to get service and the fact that they didn't bring casters when I told them to do so. I've been very disappointed with the furniture since I've had it in my home. I can still use the chair even though the arm is chipped but if I go back, it's like the screws are snapping which shouldn't be happening.

I had previously visited the store in Sterling Heights on a couple of occasions and was not impressed with the service or knowledge of the sales staff. On a trip to another mall, I passed the store on Big Beaver in Troy. I stopped in and was greeted by Julie **, the sales associate. She was knowledgeable and quite helpful. No one had to sell the product to me. This purchase was my fourth recliner in 40 years. The first one was handed over to my mother, the second one went to my daughter (she still has it), the third one still sits in my family room alongside the new one. I do not have the fanciest of chairs yet the quality is still there. I sent my cousin to the store just last week and she also purchased a recliner. My sister has a couch and chair also purchased from La-Z-Boy... AND it's an original Michigan company.

Our experience with this company and the extended warranty insurance has been regrettable. I have been trying quite unsuccessfully for over 2 years to resolve a quality and wear issue. We purchased leather furniture for our family room 5/2013 and within 2 years there was cracking and peeling of the leather on the sofa and recliner. The other recliner is discolored. We are middle aged, no kids so the usage of this furniture is not excessive.
The Ultra Shield furniture insurance which we purchased appears to be no more than a scam. They have been difficult to contact and unresponsive. We purchased this insurance with the understanding these types of things would be covered, sadly that has not been the case. We returned to the store where we purchased the set to see if they could facilitate our interaction with the company they represent for the insurance but they "washed their hands" of our situation and said we had to deal with Ultra Shield. I cannot recommend doing business with either of these companies.

It was an okay experience. The young girl didn't know that much. The gentleman helping her was nice enough. I like that people aren't fighting over you because of commission. I went to find a sofa, I bought my daughter a chair and tables, they were rude to her when she came back in to pick them up. Also, I didn't receive a bill or an email, twice, so my payment was late. I was not happy about that at all. I have worked hard to make my credit up after being ruined by a thief. It was an okay experience. I honestly don't know if I would come back.

We've had La-Z-Boy furniture at home for over 20 years. It's held up well and performed the way we would expect it to perform. Some of our furniture has got some age to it and needed to be replaced. I've purchased a few recliners, a sofa, and a chair and a half from La-Z-Boy. The sales reps were very positive and the woman who helped us showed us a lot of pieces of furniture. She was knowledgeable, polite, and listened to what we were interested as far as firmness, texture, design and how the furniture was going to be used. Some of the furniture was available immediately while some was ordered. We wanted everything delivered at once so it will be delivered later on this week. We're very satisfied with the product and the courteous treatment we received when we visited the store. It was overall a very positive experience.

I contacted your repair dept. (dec. 17) about having a problem corrected with my recliner. The footrest would not raise. Your service tech informed me I needed 2 motors. We received a call informing me that we needed a electrical service kit (dec. 20) at a cost of 4420.00, which we paid. We have talked with your service advisors and have not receive the status of the unit. HELP! I need the repair as soon as possible because of going to have a major operation and I need it to sleep in for about a month after the procedure. Today is jan. 11, with no definite reply from your service group. Please. HELP! Thank You.

I was convinced to purchase an extended warranty by a La-Z-Boy's representative. Described it to me like this, "It will cover even if someone was to poke a hole or cut into it." Well none of this has happened but ONLY 2 years later one of my sofa's armrest is coming apart at the seam and NOW they want to tell me it's a manufacturer defect and no longer covered because it's surpassed the 1 year warranty. Their customer service rep. Josh ** was VERY rude and unprofessional. In the past my sofas have lasted me a minimum of 10 years and that was with raising 7 children and many grandkids. Don't be fool into their shenanigans.

Bought recliner almost two years ago, and love as much today as I did when I bought it. Comfortable whether reclined or not. Feet and back and recline together or separately, so you can put the chair in the most comfortable position for both legs and back. You don't have to compromise!

I was gonna have a surgery so I wanted a recliner for recovery and I got a La-Z-Boy. It has helped good and it's nice. It has a fair cost for its quality. The sales rep was very helpful, patient, great, went over a bunch of different options, explained everything very thoroughly, and needed to follow up with us to make sure we knew when we could pick up the recliner. Then we picked up the recliner from the warehouse. It was a very good experience and we will shop there in the future if we need more furniture.

My furniture was delivered with a tear. I scheduled an appointment to repair the issue. The technician did not repair it because La-Z-Boy didn't not estimate enough time for the repair. Highly disappointed.

Bought 2 leather, electric reclining chairs about 3+ years ago and they are by far the best, relaxing chairs we have ever had. They still work great and we use them a lot every day. The material is holding up great, and the electronics all still work very good. I would definitely recommend La-Z-Boy products to all if they are all as good as what we received. Very happy with the service and the product.

I purchased the Hayes couch and recliner and I am not very happy with the quality of the construction of the furniture. I can feel boards poking through next to the arms on the recliner. They sent us the wrong chair originally. One of our other recliners had the plastic paper stuffed inside the material and made a wrinkly noise. The manager of the La-Z-Boy came to my house personally to try to fix these issues. Staff is wonderful but quality of furniture has gotten bad. I always bought La-Z-Boy but will reconsider next time.

We bought a $3500 Reese reclining section sofa on 6/30/2012. We asked for brown leather and was told ok. Now 4.5 yr later when our "leather" is cracking and peeling we find that we didn't get leather, but rather "Renew" RE991578. I should have known something is up when piping at the seams broke to reveal white cotton/fabric. This material can't be repaired so now I'm stuck with a huge, expensive piece of furniture that didn't even last 5 yr! My last couch cost $800 and lasted 10 yr!

I went in the store, Sharon helped me. Told her what I wanted then found my chair, the sofa, coffee table, and then side table. It was very efficient. Her customer service was wonderful. I bought two furniture sets from La-Z-Boy - one was a sectional and another was just a love seat and a sofa. The white one was a custom one and the delivery crew got dirt on it, so I'm gonna have to call and see if they can come out and do something because they saw it was under warranty. I also have to call them because one my recliners is not working. Overall I was very impressed and pleased with the quality of the furniture and leather and how quickly they got it to me with it being a custom order. It was there before I was even ready to receive it and they held it for me until I was ready, so that was nice.

Our saleslady stayed with us to show all of the sofas that we might be interested in seeing. My wife wanted one that would fit her better than the ones we have had. After trying 5 or 6 we finally found the right one and it was delivered within 2 weeks.

We have a room that we wanted to redo so we purchased a sleeper sofa from La-Z-Boy. The sales reps were very helpful, while the delivery team was actually early so it was perfect. I haven't opened up the sofa yet, but unless there would be a problem when I open it up, everything was just the way it should be from start to finish. I'd recommend them.

Our recliners are very comfortable. The only negative is they are very noisy when using the reclining feature and returning the chair to the normal position. We like the size of the chairs, the fabric and the comfort.

I am happy with my purchase and the delivery of sofa and 2 chairs. Where I believe some work could be done is in the remailing following product. An ottoman was shipped from Winnipeg and throw pillows from the factory. Ottoman arrived prior to pillows but received no call re arrival. I picked up on 2 occasions. A call would have been appreciated on 1st arrival. I assume they were waiting for both pieces to deliver.

I bought the power reclining sofa because it was so comfortable and had a sturdy seating area. Right after the delivery guys left, I noticed an eraser size hole in the foot rest. The company I bought it from brought me a new one the next week. This one was coming apart in the cushion seams in 5 places. The threads weren't finished off properly. OK. Here comes another new one with the same problems. 3 couches were delivered here with the same problems!
All of them stayed on the delivery truck and went right back. Where is quality control??? The next one had the seams finished the right way, no raveling and coming apart. BUT the footrest jerked when going up. Broken part on it. I told the repair technician that it wasn't nearly as comfortable as the other, very soft, could feel the springs and frame when reclining. They are getting me a new seat now. Hope it holds up better than this one if not, maybe I will ask for a total refund and get a different brand. All of this was within 3 months!

I live in Florida. My La-Z-Boy chair was ordered as a gift from my brother in California. I have/had extreme vertigo plus a major operation. The chair was required for me to sleep in while healing. We were told it would take 2 to 5 weeks to be delivered. It was the FULL 5 weeks even with a medically necessary request. Upon arrival (Nov. 29, 2016) when using the power button to recline and lift the leg lift the whole chair leans to the right by about an inch (tilted). NOW, the time to phone for repair - there is NO PHONE NUMBER to call in the booklet given me with the chair. AND, there is NO information as to which store it came from; I only knew it was from the Orlando area. I went online, looked up La-Z-Boy, found the main factory number, called them and they gave me a service number of 407-275-5554. Guess what, THEY DON'T ANSWER! I called for two days every few hours.
Finally I called the "sales dept." figuring they would answer wanting to make a sale. The very nice gentlemen tried paging the service person - he got no one either. Then he went looking - not there! The next day, however, he followed through and service called me. I explained the problem and was told that no one could come to my city until Dec. 16th. So now the repairman comes, complains that I am out of his area and that I should have called the Jacksonville store. He didn't like driving 102 miles. How am I to know this? I went to where the chair came from according to home office given phone number. But, he is here. He discovers that the frame is bent, tries to fix it in his truck, is unable to do so and brings it back in. Then he asks if I really want it fixed as it does work. Really?
Of course I want it fixed. It is BRAND NEW AND SHOULD WORK AS ORDERED AND PAID FOR. I also show him the foot rest which is also leaning and the padding is off also. A lot more padding on the left side than on the right side which makes it look even more tilted. I ask, "can this also be fixed". He says, yes, but It will take until the END OF FEBRUARY, 2017. What? He tells me that the frames are made to order - I find this hard to believe as there should be standard frames for the various chairs you offer - and that he will have to wait for the material, too. So now, here I am, answering your email and venting. Why should I have to wait a full four (4) months for a chair to arrive and be repaired?
This is not a good customer service experience. I'm very, very disappointed considering I needed this medically (doctor requested I sleep this way). It only takes one very bad experience to turn people away from your products. Little things can be overlooked but I'm having a hard time with your company. So, please get better service people; better timing on making and delivery; add phone numbers to your info booklet for customers, i.e. service, which store it came from, etc.; have order numbers clearly marked - I didn't know which number on the booklet was the order number so listed all number above in the order number section; And, please help me to get my chair fixed as I'M STILL WAITING. Thank you for allowing me to give you this information.

I recently bought a sofa & love seat from La-Z-Boy. The 1st recliner loveseat had a puncture in the leather when delivered. The second loveseat was delivered to replace the 1st and the leather was scratched. I received the 3rd love seat/recliner & it looked good but a bolt on the footrest is stripped-not affecting operation but for the money I paid I am disappointed in the product. Is very noisy on one of the recliners. Also the electric reclining mechanism is noisy on one of the recliners. All 3 times La-Z-Boy was accommodating in trying to remedy the problem. Overall, the La-Z-Boy quality control & workmanship is poor in my opinion. I needed an accent rocker so I went to Ethan Allen because of my experience with La-Z-Boy.

The recliner on the love seat from the get go never has operated right. It jerks down. They sent a guy out to fix it and it still continued to do the same thing and their response was, "Oh well we tried the couch recliner. Stopped working as well." You can't even recline. All 4 recliners have come unstitched. I bought them in 1999 and the only reason I still have them even though they look terrible is because I spent so much on them I can't afford to buy new.

Purchased love seat recliner with console Sept 9 2016. Received on Oct 7 2016. It had several flaws. Seams were not lined up on seats. One side recliner was bent. Reordered Nov 17 2016. Still waiting for product. I am a senior and don't remember La-Z-Boy being such a problem. Very dissatisfied at this point but I am still paying for what I don't have. Sucks.

This reclining chair was ordered and took longer to deliver – 8 weeks instead of 6 weeks maximum, which was acceptable due to "performance" in today's world. When it was delivered, I was very disappointed with the chair. It lacked visually obvious foam fill in the arms area, and the seat foam was softer than the same model I tried out in the showroom. While the chair claimed to have a weight rating of 300 pounds, it did not meet that number in my opinion.
It was picked up and went back to service. It was delivered this morning with added foam to the arms and seat which made it a much better chair, which should have been performed at the manufacturing plant and thereby avoiding all the stress and inconvenience of sending it back for service. My previously owned recliner has a 5-spring system instead of a 4-spring system installed in this chair, which made for a far superior supported chair. SHAME ON LA-Z-BOY! The delivery personnel however, have always been polite, efficient and on time.

We are very pleased with the service we received at Wolf Furniture. We were there on a very busy Labor Day, If our sales rep couldn't get to us, the manager stepped in until the rep could get to us. They did their best to help us and find what we were interested in. The furniture arrived earlier than expected and movers were very nice and helpful. The recliners and sofa are very comfortable and we are very happy with the purchase.

The La-Z-Boy sales reps were absolutely wonderful. We love the fact that we could have a designer work with us even though we weren't purchasing a lot. We just did a chair and a half and some pillows, yet she took some of the things we already had in the house and laid it out and it was great.

I love my recliner and sofa. I haven't opened the hide a bed yet due to physical problems. I don't like the decorative pillow that came with the sofa - the same material and very bland. I purchased two new pillows and it look much nicer. For the price I paid I should have received a nicer pillow.

Then he took off. We went back to looked at the spot. There was an inch of black metal sticking through the material.
I called customer care again, not at all happy. They said they would send someone out. The next guy that came out took pictures and said customer care would get back with us about the metal sticking through and the warped backs of the furniture. The problem with all of this is when you come into the great room where the sectional is first thing you see is the back of the sectional. It looks hideous. It looks like something we bought at Big Lots or Kmart somewhere like that. La-Z-Boy is customer, furniture professionals, how can you say this is normal??? We went back down to the store. The very same sectional was NOT warped in the back and did not have metal sticking out. The last two people I spoke to in customer care was Summer and Claudia. They both said "too bad. So sad. We will do nothing about this. This is normal for custom furniture to look." I could not believe them.
Had I know this was going to happen to us and we are stuck with such embarrassing looking furniture that you see right when you walk into our home I would have purchased ANYWHERE but La-Z-Boy. I want to let all of your customers know that this is what you might get. Hit and miss some of your furniture will look perfect and some will look warped. Be careful especially if the back if your furniture is exposed. I can understand why you would rather have a unsatisfied customer than a fully satisfied customer. This really saddens us especially at this time in our life.

From the time of purchase to delivery, and now a few months enjoying our sofa, my La-Z-Boy experience has been great. The salesman in the Sarasota store was very helpful, steering us to just what we wanted. The wait time was spot on as predicted, 4-6 weeks. The delivery was pleasant and efficient. We've had the sofa for about two months now... and we love it! Quality is very good, it's comfortable, and I love the look.

I've had a La-Z-Boy recliner for over 24 years. It was a birthday gift from my ex-wife. The recliner is as great as new. The quality has held up all these years and there are no signs of replacement, which is why I've decided to buy my next living room set from La-Z-Boy. I've been shopping for furniture for over 7 months and I kept going back to the Graham Leather set and I'm getting it soon. Our son had La-Z-Boy and he really liked it, so we got one too. I needed to have a chair that I could recline and raise my feet with. That was the first purchase we made at La-Z-Boy, which turned out so good that my husband decided he needed a sofa as well! Our sales representatives have been helpful and they answered the questions we had. The last sales rep we had was a nice one from Newton. Plus the delivery crew is good. They called ahead to say when they would arrive and they did. They were also very careful when they came in. The cost was high, but it's worth it.

We have bought La-Z-Boy recliner units and a console early 2016. Since I landed in Canada a couple of years back I heard about the good reputation of La-Z-Boy furniture and wanted to try it. We spent almost $5000 on it. La-Z-Boy sales representative offered us Zucora 7 year protection plan and due to trust on brand name "La-Z-Boy" we trusted them and bought the plan as well... Of course which was a bad decision as we did not do any research prior. I do not believe that La-Z-Boy had a tie-up with Zucora even when they have a never ending consumer complaints & 1 star rating. We were specifically told by La-Z-Boy sales person that all the stains due to wine, food, household beverages, etc. and hence everything would be covered. But when we had a damage to the paint of the console unit (wooden part) due to hot household beverage they said wooden part is not covered. I tried to ask them the reason and get clarifications on the plan, they NEVER replied.
I started following up in October 2016 and now it is January 2017 but they never bothered or showed courtesy to respond. This is our WORST customer experience with ZUCORA. We tried to seek help from La-Z-Boy comfort care but no use. La-Z-Boy should not sell such FAKE Companies plan to their customers and if they do the sales representatives should clarify what is covered and what is not (fabric part, electronic part, wooden part, etc. specifically). Overall bad experience and highly disappointed as our precious La-Z-Boy unit is damaged and nobody to assist.

Contacted your comfort care center a few months after our purchase. Sofa and recliner very uncomfortable. Tech came, ordered bags of filling and basically rebuilt both pieces. Slight improvement. Then inside of sofa arms have large piece of wood protruding which our grandson hit and bruised cheek. New arms ordered and appt. to install made. This is not the quality or comfort we would ever have imagined or expected.We feel this product is inferior and unacceptable. We are requesting a full refund or exchange.

The customer service at the West Flamingo La-Z-Boy store where I bought my couch from was superb. The ladies at the store are very amenable to receiving my feedback. They said that La-Z-Boy was really good in providing me the customer service that I needed if there are issues. However, the seat that I continually sit on is starting to wrinkle and I have to smooth it out even though I have the memory foam in the seat. Because it's been cold and then I sit on the seat, the seat gets warm that it stretches the material since it's aesthetic leather. I'm also noticing that now I'm using the remote there's a give when I recline back that it doesn't lock like it used to. I have the warranty so I'm going to see how this goes because I've only had the unit for two months. Overall, however, I would recommend it.

La-Z-Boy used to build quality furniture which is why we bought a couch and 2 chairs from them. We were tired of having to replace our furniture every 4 or 5 years and we also have a La-Z-Boy recliner that is 24 years old and in excellent shape. About 3 months after delivery the seat cushion on one side began sliding back behind the back cushion. It continually got worse so we called for a technician to come out approximately 10 months after delivery plus all of the back cushions had gone flat. The tech ordered a new seat and stuffed the back cushions. This work was completed on Feb. 4, 2016. Well, it's 11 months later (Dec. 2016) and the replaced seat has done the same thing and the backs are very flat again. Not only does the couch look terrible but it is uncomfortable.
I called for another visit but because it is past the original delivery date of 12 months (not the date of the replacement or repairs that is under 12 months) we will have to pay a fee to have the repairs done. The service rep told me that I should be fluffing the back (which I always do) to avoid this. Since the first repairs were not successful what assurance do we have that these will work and we will not have to pay a yearly repair fee to maintain this sofa? La-Z-Boy has lowered the quality of their products but certainly not the price. I can get a cheaper couch that will last more than a year. Buyer beware.

My husband and I purchased a leather dual-reclining sofa (I believe it was called the Niagara model) after falling in love with the one on the showroom floor in 2014. Our salesman was incredibly friendly and seemed really knowledgeable about the product. We liked that everything was American made, but I was most impressed with the foam quality used in construction of their furniture. We were looking to buy a high-quality piece of furniture and were willing to pay more than we've ever paid to get that.
We waited over eight weeks for our new sofa to arrive. Once it did, we noted the sofa received didn't seem anywhere near as plush as the one in the showroom. If that had been our only issue, that was more than enough to be upsetting. We had owned the sofa less than six months when a support board broke; during the repair it was discovered the board used in the original construction of our sofa had a large knot in it, creating a structural weak spot which is exactly where it broke. I also saw the majority of construction is plywood. When I complained about the level of cushioning in the sofa and mentioned the foam construction I was sold on, I was told this sofa doesn't even have any foam in it -- it's all a polyester batting, and nothing could be done to add any additional padding. I paid $2900 for a sofa made of plywood, shoddy boards and synthetic batting.
I am writing this review today because we finally got a repair completed today on a bent bracket that has been on-going for over six months. We were sent the wrong parts, they were TWICE sent to incorrect addresses, repairmen had to come three different times, two of which they weren't even able to do anything because part orders were incorrect. When the guy arrived today, his work order from La-Z-Boy indicated he was here to replace a left upholstered arm. That alone sums up my entire experience with this purchase.
We spent more money than we have ever paid for a piece of furniture that has been a continual disappointment and source of repeated frustration. I feel like I was lied to and robbed of $2900 while people I complained to just smiled and told me I need to talk to someone else. I wouldn't recommend La-Z-Boy to ANYONE and have no intentions of ever buying anything from them again.

They have no animals and they buy nothing but the best. This is such a disappointment. They were offered $500.00 toward another set, but who want to buy that junk again. We were victims of Sandy and so we raised our house, and after that we had the opportunity to get me some furniture. We bought a sofa and love seat from La-Z-Boy and it's the best piece of furniture we've ever bought. La-Z-Boy might be a little bit more expensive than basic furniture, but the quality, comfort and warranties are far superior to anything else. Their delivery crew was excellent and very professional.

It took months to choose a new sofa. I have had multiple back problems and I was hoping to find a couch that would be just perfect for me. I fell in love with the Dexter couch ($2,175.10 on sale) at La-Z-Boy but I kept looking just in case I could find something that would actually be supportive for my back. On one of my trips to the store, a salesperson showed me a remote control lumbar support sofa. I was impressed but I also could not afford it ($3,806.54 on sale!). I still went on to spend weeks debating what I should do. I finally had decided on the Dexter couch when another salesperson came over to me and told me the couch would not be good for my back. I told her I couldn't afford the remote control lumbar support couch and she said, "Well, let's find a way to have you be able to afford it because this is the couch for your back."
She ended up (after much deliberation) talking me into the other couch but without the remote control lumbar support and just manual reclining handles and memory foam seats for the price of $2,775.70. I was far from in love with the couch but if it would be the best for my back then I would forgo my favorite to be comfortable. Well, I should have gone with my first instinct. I received the new couch and the seats were so hard it made my entire body hurt even more. I couldn't sit on it for more than fifteen minutes without pain. I called the company and they told me that the memory foam in the couch cushions had to be broken in first. Well, I weigh about 110 lbs, the couch wasn't going to be broken in for years at this rate especially since I can't even sit on it to get it broken in.
Buyers, beware, the memory foam in the store has probably been there for years and is probably way past being broken in. Anyway, I hated this couch and it hurt my back. I was so disappointed that the bright light of having a comfortable supportive couch was the worst couch I sat on throughout all of my search. La-Z-Boy finally offered to have the seat cushions changed out which totally defeated the reason I bought the couch in the first place. I didn't want this couch if it didn't have back support, why would I be okay changing out the cushions for a couch that cost $600.60 more than the couch I originally wanted? I was on the phone begging and pleading the store manager to please swap out this couch for the one I wanted. I was told if I wanted the other couch I should have bought it.
The couch I purchased was "special order" since I didn't buy it like the one on the retail floor. I reiterated that the only reason I bought the couch was because his salesperson lied to me about it being the holy grail of couches and that my back would thank me for it. I was on the phone with him for a half hour (yes, crying was involved, I was in pain from the horrible couch). He finally told me he would talk to customer service on Monday to see if anything else could be done. At this point, I asked my dad and brother for help since I was truly too upset to speak on the phone in coherent sentences. They both made some calls for me and I was finally told that I could change out the cushions. Really? I had already gone through this horrible idea before.
Finally, the manager came back and said they would swap out the horrible couch for the couch I originally wanted. EXCEPT... They weren't going to refund any money and I had to pay an extra $59.40. Huh?! What the heck? I just told my dad to tell him yes because I had to get rid of the other couch, I was never going to sit on it. So I basically lost out on $600.60 + the $59.40... $660 dollars down the drain because his salesperson made false promises and unattainable hopes and dreams. I know it is buyer beware but seriously, how does La-Z-Boy get away with this? I will never purchase anything from them ever again. They don't stand behind their word and they don't care about their customers. How they can keep $600 of my money doesn’t seem right to me, La-Z-Boy is unfair and ruthless. It’s about the almighty dollar over the happiness and possible future loyalty of the customer.

We love La-Z-Boy and because we know from years of experience that the furniture is high quality and especially very durable we decided to purchase another sofa and love seat in addition to the 12 year old La-Z-Boy furniture we have and we love. Upon receiving the furniture and watching the fabric and seats show wear within several months, we became very disappointed. Was this the new La-Z-Boy? Had their quality declined SO much over that last 12 years? We were dis-heartened because how could we purchase more furniture from La-Z-Boy (for another room) with the experience of seeing new furniture fall apart? The fabric on the arms and footrest was coming apart, threads were loose and could easily be removed.
We mentioned this and showed a picture to Adam **, the manager of two stores in Raleigh, NC. He was shocked, assured us this was not normal, and suggested we call Customer Service. The lady that answered was very nice and set up an appointment with a tech on January 6, 2017. Our confidence was being slowly repaired. We look forward to the tech visit. Several years ago my husband and I moved from the mainland to Maui. We sold all our furniture at that time because it's almost as expensive to ship it to Maui as it is to buy replacements (so we were told). Even before we left the mainland we had picked out the sofa set we wanted. We had always wanted La-Z-Boy because of its reputation and we wanted sleeper sofas for visiting guests. We chose the Leah style because not only was the sofa available with a queen sleeper but there was a matching loveseat that had a twin sleeper and there was an ottoman in another style that matched nicely. Upon arrival we went to the only place we were able to find on the island that carried La-Z-Boy and were in for a rude awakening. The 3 piece set was going to cost about double what it would on the mainland. We now know that's just part of island life and so we just started saving up.
More that 2 years later we went back to purchase the set. I had always wanted a light grey living room group in a soft microfiber (kind of velour feel). My first disappointment was that in over hundreds of fabrics there was no such selection so I compromised to the lightest available which was a medium to dark slate grey. When we originally picked out the group on the mainland we tested out the motorized air mattress upgrade. It was a really cool feature that allowed you to customize the mattress to individual preference and one of the biggest reasons we chose this style. We were told by the Maui store that theirs was broken and we couldn't even try it which made my husband leery that ours would break so we ended up getting foam type mattresses instead, disappointment number 2.
So we made our choices and ordered the 3 piece set which came in just under $5,400.00 which included delivery. We were told at this time that custom orders were nonreturnable so we had better measure to make sure it would fit inside our door, etc. So we went home, made repeated measurements, and phoned in to complete the order in December of 2014.
Three months later we got a call that the furniture was in and we made arrangements to have it delivered. Although the loveseat and ottoman were able to be delivered, the couch was not. Even though it could have fit in our front door measurement-wise, there is a wall directly 3 feet in front of the front door opening which prevented them from getting it in far enough to get it inside. We live on the 3rd floor of an apartment complex so the back door (balcony) was not a viable option. So now the couch goes back to the warehouse and I scramble to find a solution because since it was a custom order it cannot be returned. I was lucky enough to find one company on the island that would hoist it up onto the 3rd floor balcony so it could be delivered for $400.00.
So now we have our (was hoping) forever furniture for a grand total of just under $6,000.00 for 3 pieces. Not long after we got it in the house we started to notice all the cushions (seat and back) on the sofa looked crooked. You can see by the picture of the whole put together sofa that there's a slant to them all. In the picture of the cushion you can see that the fabric is sort of rolling around the cushion but in the loveseat picture, the loveseat doesn't seem to have the same problem at all. These 3 pictures were taken 6 months after the set was delivered.
My husband and I live alone, are in our 50's, and have no dogs, and almost never have people over so this set was being very gently used. I tried on several occasions to unzip the seat cushions and roll them back around to where they should be, as well as pulling and fluffing the back cushions but they immediately just went crooked again. We even started flipping the cushions over everyday and then turning them around alternately (zipper exposed) but none of it helps at all, big disappointment number 3.
So the other 2 pictures are just over 1 year after the first 3. I just took them and it is Dec. of 2016. As you can see both the back and seat cushions are crooked. Also I have tried sleeping on the loveseat (twin) sleeper about 10 times and never made it through the night. You sink into it so far it feels like a hammock and I always end up going down to the regular bed. The queen sleeper is even worse. You definitely feel the support bar and can't get into a position where you don't feel it. In addition the head of the bed (where you'd put your pillows) is several inches lower than the foot of the bed. Even sleeping on several pillows doesn't help and why should you have to do that anyway? Disappointment number 4.
So now we've had our living room set for a year and 9 months total. The color is too dark, (especially for Maui), the cushions are always crooked so when we do have company I have to scramble to straighten them out and it's impossible to get a decent night's sleep on the sofa or loveseat. We had hoped this would be the last living room group we'd purchase. Despite the fact that I have no idea how I'd sell it (remember now we have to pay $400.00 to get it hoisted back out), I have already begun to research another set and it will definitely not be a La-Z-Boy.

We purchased a living room recliner sofa set with a 5 year warranty. Right from the onset we had an issue with a disconnected armrest and also a collapsing top part of the sofa. It took a while for representative to come in and get it fixed. Our main concern is that Badboy said they can't get our other issues with the furniture resolved because they are no more with Zucora, a company they were associated with who handled all their repairs etc; so badboy representative redirected us back to Zucora. (So we have to deal with them independently but we did not choose Zucora to be the handlers of the warranty). Zucora said we did not report the problem to them within 14 days from when we had issues with the furniture (which for me does not make sense).
We went back to Badboy but they said there is nothing they could to assist us at that branch and referred us to their head office. We called a few times but it went straight to voicemail. We left a message but no one got back to us. For the price we bought this set and how it so quickly started breaking down... it really wasn't worth it. We are very disappointed. At the end of the day we simply went to purchase a furniture, and not to be in the middle of Badboy and Zucora (who are no more associated with Badboy... as informed). By the way the warranty is still valid until March 2017 and yet we still can't get any help. Is that fair?

My recliner was just three years old and the Renew cover has already ripped on the seat area. I was told by the salesperson that this Renew cover is strong and will hold up for years. This chair is not overly used or abused since I am usually the only one sitting in it. I spent a lot of money for this motion recliner and I am highly disappointed, and will never buy from La-Z-Boy again. On a bright note, the recliner works great and is comfortable.

On 12/31/14, we purchased four (4) Riley recliners for a total of $6,667.36. On 1/12/16, less than a year after receipt of the chairs (delivery time was 12 weeks so we received the chairs around March 15), we were unable to use any of the four chairs as both back and bottom cushions were flat and unsupportive. $1,666.84 a chair and the cushions last less than a year. Bravo La-Z-Boy.
On 3/29/16 the new back cushions were installed as the bottom cushions were not covered by La-Z-Boy. The representative advised us "Well.. had you spent the money for premium cushions this wouldn't have been an issue." Well excuse us, at $1,666.84 a chair and with fabric protection, etc., included at extra cost, wouldn't one expect La-Z-Boy to advise we would receive cushions that would last less than a year?
It is now 12/26/16. The chairs with new cushions have been in use for less than a year and they are awful and going to the dump.. Yes, the landfill, as soon as we can find suitable replacement. Cushions are totally unsupportive, metal/wooden supports are felt through the back and bottom cushions. What a waste of money and what a horrible quality of furniture for La-Z-Boy to produce/offer for sale. I/we will do all we can to ensure other potential customers are aware. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. It is the worst crap on the market in this price range. Shame on you La-Z-Boy.

I was having back troubles and I needed a furniture that would be a little more comfortable. The La-Z-Boy sales guy at the Cary store was good. He told us everything we needed to know about the recliners. He left us alone long enough to let us figure out if that was what we wanted to do. We looked around at a few different things before we decided to buy. Everything went exactly like they said it was when we finally set up delivery. The delivery team was awesome. The product is exactly what we bought and the quality is great. La-Z-Boy is a good company to work with.

I’m having a great deal of trouble with my first La-Z-Boy because I had the cushions replaced and they were barely worn. I had them replaced and they didn’t fit them for me. I had to put them in myself. The first time that they did, they worked real well. The second one, they didn’t and they’re all messed up. I had the gentleman that owns La-Z-Boy in the store that sold me that set, and then I came back and he sold me the chair. That chair was absolutely the most uncomfortable chair and I wish that they could’ve changed these cushions because they’re terrible. Never again will I buy something in the store as is or as a store piece. Also, the first recliner that I bought for my boyfriend already needed repairs when I brought it home. The wood had cracked in it on the inside, then it was repaired and it did it again.
My new La-Z-Boy set is wonderful and I bought the upgraded version of it. I got it with the memory foam in it, and that chair is so comfortable. The cost is also reasonably good, especially at 30% off. The sales rep was polite and I couldn’t have asked for a better salesman. He wasn’t trying to sell me something I didn’t want and he helped me with the color. I took pictures of my drapes that I had done and I bought new curtain rods, and he took the time to look at them, sat down and decided with us. I’m glad I got him and in hindsight, I wish I had gotten two sofa chairs because I was buying it for my family room and I wish I had gotten that salesman then. The delivery team was also wonderful. I didn’t want them to walk through the front door and they had no problem with that, and nothing got damaged. Overall I couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

I moved so I purchased sleeper sofas, pillows, a sectional, two recliners, four tables and four rugs from La-Z-Boy. Their rep in Alexandria was really nice and friendly but guided me to some colors I didn’t like. I brought it back around to colors I did like so that was good. There was a promise of putting together a board for me but I never got it, so I was disappointed in that. I never got the printout of the page where they put it all together for me. That was my first experience so I thought I might’ve misunderstood. But then I went to the store in Columbia, MD and the decorator there did that for me. It really would’ve been nice to have that from the other store. I was told I was going to get decorator help but I didn’t, but I was pleased with my furniture in the end and everything matched.
The first delivery was great but I wasn’t pleased the second time. The guys came in and asked me to sign a paper so that when they carry the furniture in and scuff up our walls and floor, they’re not responsible. I didn’t like having to sign that because I think there’s a certain level of professionalism we should expect from delivery and the first La-Z-Boy guys did not make me sign that. So I don’t know why the second guys made me sign that. The doorbell got busted and I had to pay for a new one and had someone come out and do that. Before I would buy again from La-Z-Boy, I would take that into serious consideration.
So far, I’ve sat on one of the sleepers a few times and it was fine. I use the Addison Sectional with the memory foam a lot and I really like it. Their cost is a little high but I am banking on the fact that it’s supposed to last longer than others. I’m hopeful that it will not need replacing anytime soon. Overall, I liked the part where they helped in decorating. That was something that I really enjoyed and that was good.

I recently purchased a sofa from La-Z-Boy due to my back pain. Their rep was wonderful. I had it delivered and I have it for a couple of months now. I love its quality. The cost was okay. My girlfriend thought I was ridiculous to spend so much. In fact, I do think of it often, that maybe I did. It’s a buyer’s remorse thing. But for my back, it’s really helped. Overall, they were professional and helpful. They say what they’re going to do and they follow through. It's excellent. Their delivery team was excellent. They were above the usual delivery. They seemed so educated and clean. They weren’t just delivering something. They were informed of the furniture and knew what to do. They were awesome and they're the best I’ve ever seen. I have gone to the La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries in the past and it was excellent, but then that store became corporate and I didn’t feel the same.

We've purchased La-Z-Boy chairs throughout the years. Recently, we bought a nice sofa couch from them and it's working out really well. It's beautiful. There are other furniture stores around but we found that La-Z-Boy has the best quality and the best prices. Their sales rep was also very good and everything was explained to us. They went out of their way to make sure that we got what we wanted and they showed us what they had on.
The delivery worked out very well, too. We live up in the mountains which is probably 35 miles from where we did the purchase. And we've always had trouble with deliveries but not with La-Z-Boy. Our sofa was delivered the next day and they did call me and tell me when it was coming. We don't have any street signs and they called to tell me their location. I told them I would come down but they said they will drive up and they just needed me to tell them where to turn. So I told them and they were here, and they were here when they were supposed to be.
