I have had this recliner for 18 months from La-Z-Boy and it has broken 3 times. I bought it because my parents had 2 of them while I was growing up and they were the best. I am 38 and bought a brand new one in a La-Z-Boy store in Houston. The first time it broke was the corner joint holding the base which came off and broke the base. Then about 6 months later the back "wing" separated from the chair. When I took it in for the second time I talked to an old time who has been working for La-Z-Boy now for 30 years. He said they stopped using screws and switched to thin nails. He stated that is why they fall apart. NOW my 1 year warranty is up and my armrest cushion has somehow detached from the frame under the fabric. Since it is "not under warranty" after 18 months it has to be reupholstered at the arm. Never thought I would have this problem with La-Z-Boy.

I’m a long-time customer of La-Z-Boy and my experience has always been excellent. The last time I shopped there, I used one of the designers that put a lot of stuff together for my living room. The combination of quality and price is not A-plus but the quality's excellent and when I'd compare what I get for the money that I spend, compared to going "cheap", I get what I pay for. It's above-medium product with the quality and the service but the knowledge of the sales people is remarkable. Overall, La-Z-Boy runs a good ship.

When I was looking at the La-Z-Boy store, I was so undecided. I'm spending good money and I wanna make sure it's something that I don't regret and something I enjoy on a daily basis that's why I'm being cautious. It's been 30 years since I had ordered furniture personally and decorated. So it's gonna be here for a long time. The saleslady on the floor, Erica, has been a sweetheart. She’s been more than over the top helping me. She has been working with me and was very patient. I like her suggestions and she has very good ideas. Everybody in the store has been super friendly and it's a very pleasant place to go. I haven't found a sour face or a personality that wasn't outgoing. I'm shopping at the one in Canton and everything there is perfect. I'm the one that's been the pain in the butt but they've been very cooperative and helpful.
I had purchased a power sofa, a chair and an entertainment stand. The chair and the sofa are both custom-made while the stand is a standard. I wanted the particular material I picked out and it is called "Renew" which is used leather blended with polyester. I also wanted the power because I've watched my sister with the manual one and she'll sit there and pull the thing down and then she has to stand up and kick it to go in place. Hers isn't the only one I've seen that and I'm not getting any younger so, that's why I went with it. Plus, it has the option of stopping wherever I want it. Also, I live in a one-bedroom and the senior apartments are small and if I have company, I can resort to that as a sleeping area for overnight because it reclines back far enough.
I measured my apartment myself and told the lady she doesn't need to come all the way over here. But I realized I had made a 10-inch error. When I put the chair where we had decided it would go, it was almost on top of the TV stand. So I told her I need her to come out and look at it and we put everything on hold. I'm also making one more change. I looked at the chair and decided, all of a sudden, that I need a burgundy chair. When I keep looking at it with everything else, it's too dark so I want something brighter or lighter. I showed her what I want online and picked out the materials that were gonna look at. I decided to go with more of a circular chair and she said that we need to take into considerations my paintings and rug because we've got a rug that's got speckles on it and we don't want it to be too much. So I'm going in tomorrow to test it out and after that, we should get that ordered and on its way.

I've purchased some tables from La-Z-Boy. They said it would come from the warehouse in Ontario. We could either pick it up there or they would deliver for $100. I thought that was ridiculous. If anything, we could pick it up from the store where we purchased it. But I had it delivered. When they brought it in, the glass on one of the tables had three totally long scratches etched into it. And the table had a part that had gotten a stain to it. The other table had nicks and looked dirty. It looked like they've been sitting in the warehouse for a long time. That was weird because it took them three weeks to get here, which was strange.
I called and told them that I refused it. They said that they would have to order them from the manufacturer that would take four to six weeks as they didn't have any more in the warehouse. They left with it and so, I'm waiting for them. But if there's anything wrong with them at all, I'm going to cancel my order. I was very disappointed 'cause it typically wasn't La-Z-Boy quality. I had a sofa from them that I thought was great. But this really made me think twice about their quality. I was very dissatisfied.

We bought our recliners last year and they are really holding up well. Nothing has broken since we got them. The coverings still look new. They are so comfortable that we enjoy every moment we spend in them!

We had ordered our James recliner sofa in November. It came to us damaged. We contacted La-Z-Boy and they sent someone out to look at our sofa. We received a call saying that rather than repair the original, we were to contact our store and reorder. This whole process went so smoothly. It was worth the 6 week wait and we are enjoying our sofa. We went with La-Z-Boy because of their customer care. We are happy customers. :)

On 1-21-17 I purchased a reclining loveseat and power recliner from the store in Irondale, Alabama. My 1st complaint is that I was charged $69.97 on the chair and $89.97 on the loveseat, charges that I did not understand. It was necessary to call the store numerous times before I reached the salesperson, who by the way was the store manager. He said that he had covered these charges, he did not, and there were for the treatment on each piece. Your advertisement does not say that this is an extra charge but since I had signed the agreement I let this stand. Since I had ordered the loveseat in a different color it was necessary to wait several weeks for delivery. The items were delivered on Saturday March 4. The delivery person said that he had forgotten the electric cord for the chair but he would bring it out that afternoon. We were gone for about 5 hours and when I returned no cord in the place. I told him to leave it.
I again called the store and got the run around about getting the rest of my order delivered. I was charged $129.95 and expected to get all that I had ordered. I was told by the manager that they could not locate the cord but he would call me back. No phone call from him so finally I called him again. Yes, they had located a cord but all of the warehouse personnel had left and it would be Tuesday before I would be able to get the cord. I told him that since I had paid for delivery, I would pick up the cord for a $25.00 fee. This made him very angry so he said he would deliver my cord to me. He made it to my home about 7:30 Saturday night. This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered and even though I like the La-Z-Boy products I will never buy from your stores again.

I furnished my entire new home last year, Sept 2016, and spent more than 14,000 dollars in your store and I had a problem with 1 leg on my recliner and I showed it to the delivery men when I received the order but over time I keep looking at the leg and wondering if it will break one day and when I called a few month ago they wanted to charge me to come look at it. I feel after spending so much they would stop by and check it out to calm me but they wouldn't so I'm not happy.

My mother was moving to a new house and she had 50-year old furniture. I finally talked to her to get something new and La-Z-Boy is right beside the store we come to every week and we saw it, so we went in. The girl we dealt with was awesome. We're so happy with the furniture. Awesome quality.

Bob from the Manchester, CT store was beyond great. He helped with the order and letting us put it all on the card without a deposit. This was a big help and we are very pleased with the product. Due to his customer service my wife and I will only buy from them from this point on.

We just bought a new place. So, we were filling it in. La-Z-Boy's sales rep took his time and explained what we were getting. Sometimes the pieces are actually on the other side, but we stepped through that. Apparently, some of the pieces were available and one of the features was not. So, he fully informed us as to how long the wait might be. He discussed the different types of treatment that they could give to the sofa to prevent damage, which we took advantage of because we have a dog. Everything came in a little earlier than planned and we're happy. It was delivered a week ahead of schedule, and we thought the pricing was good for the quality. Their delivery crew were very good. They set everything up, put it exactly where we wanted it and connected everything. So far, we like our sectional very, very, very much. The quality is great and it fits perfectly where we wanted it. The delivery went very smoothly and customer service was great.

We bought this large mans recliner in May, 2014. After 2 years the foot rest came off on one side. I rigged it with zip tie and it is a minor issue to me. Today, the support for the rocker arm came un-glued so now it reclines fully every time anyone sits in it. Both problems stem from the fact that the 'wood' used is particle board (not sure that's the right name but it's made of shards of wood glued & pressed together) so the glued pegs in both issues released, carrying pieces of the particle board with them.
I think this recliner has a lifetime warranty, but it will cost at least two trips from a repair person, one to diagnose, one to actually fix the chair which will cost $100 a trip at least. Add shipping costs if it can't be repaired locally. I would not recommend this recliner to anyone! Should have bought a $150 recliner at Walmart and replace it every year for 8 years for the price of this one! Needless to say, I'm very unhappy with LA-Z-BOY product quality.

My husband and I worked with La-Z-Boy designer Kathryn ** and we're thrilled with the results! We wanted an open, contemporary look in our new condo, with seating for six, and colorful fabrics. Kathryn accomplished everything we wanted and more! Kathryn thought of everything from floor plan, furniture placement, lighting, and even a pad for the area rug. It was amazing to see the look on a design board, just like on HGTV! We love the style of the pieces and the fabrics are beautiful! It was wonderful to be able to find a complete look in one store, see the pieces we were ordering, and be able to sit on them. We are now enjoying entertaining and have been recommending La-Z-Boy to everyone.

My experience with La-Z-Boy was totally positive. They had a great selection, helpful and friendly sales associates, and even had a design expert come to the house to help me choose my furniture. I love my couch & am very happy with the quality. There was one edge that was not straight. I reported the issue and a replacement piece was ordered. It was mailed directly to me with no instructions on what I should do. I figured someone would call. Eventually I called the store & someone came out & said that piece would have the same problem. I now have both pieces in my closet. Basically, you need more follow up.

We were looking for a La-Z-Boy branch for a year, and when I walked in, I ended up meeting a woman who I had their children in school. She was wonderful, and the more she showed us around, we found a loveseat and a chair that we like. So we ended up that day purchasing them. We were very pleased and loved going into the store. The delivery crew knew how to have the door held open and they brought the furniture in. They showed us how we had it with the corners, and if we wanted to move them, how we could take them all apart. They were great. The only thing I had trouble with was doing the survey online. There was something wrong with the website at the time, and I never finished the survey.

We've been a customer of La-Z-Boy for 20 years, and we recently decided to purchase new furniture. We knew what we wanted, so it was pain-free. The quality of the furniture we received was really good. We had a problem with one of our couches, and service came out and fixed it. Overall, our experience has been really good.

Let me begin by saying that the representative that came to repair my furniture (more than once) is OUTSTANDING. A chair that I purchased in October was defective in two places. First came fabric, but it wasn't a problem with the fabric or stapling, it is an issue with the padding. The arms of the chair are curved. One side of the pad is curved (which makes sense so there is a tight fit with the fabric, but, the other arm is squared, causing a big ripple and large space. The replacement pad is squared on both side. So far, the fabric has been taken off twice and neither of the defects are repaired.
On to my table. It has a small drawer -- that doesn't open. The first gentleman that came ordered a part. The second guy came and said, this isn't the correct part, we need two rails and he ordered a second. A La-Z-Boy rep called and said the manufacturer insists that the repairman use wax and that would fix the problem. Well, it didn't.
So, here it is March. My drawer STILL doesn't open and the chair STILL has two defects and has had the fabric off twice. The repair man is again requesting another rail for the table and is suggesting the chair be replaced. My opinion, that is if my opinion as the consumer matters, replace both of them immediately. I paid a lot of money for my furniture and expect it to be of the highest quality, both structurally and aesthetically.

I love my new loveseat! Deb, my salesperson, was enormously helpful in bringing me right to what I said I was looking for. It was a promotion - 36 months interest-free and La-Z-Boy paid the sales tax! I got to choose the fabric I wanted. Deb told me it'd take 4-8 weeks to be delivered; I got it in 4 weeks! The delivery people were early on delivery day, and quickly and efficiently placed the loveseat in my home. A week or so later, Deb called me to make sure I was satisfied and happy with my purchase. You know what I told her - the entire experience was outstanding!!! Thank you!

The electric recline mechanism on one side of the sofa did not work. The technician came and had the problem solved in record time. I was very pleased with his courtesy and professionalism. Unfortunately I did not get his name. Perhaps your records will indicate that and thank him again.

We paid a lot of money for 2 recliners. There is a heavy chemical odor and when I'm on the recliner or in the room for an extended period of time, my eyes burn and I get a headache. The same happens for my boyfriend. We keep calling La-Z-Boy - both Long Island customer service and the original store but they tell us to wait a month. It's been a week and, although the smell has dissipated some, it hasn't gone away, and my headaches and eye burning have continued.

We had La-Z-Boy's recliner and power sofa for two months but we're not very happy with them right now. We can't use the furniture as we hopefully intended to use it. We had the memory foam put in the recliner and when you came down from after being reclined, it would always get hung up on the material. So, we had a technician look at it and right away, he knew what the problem was. He said that they had the same problem before and he ended up fixing it. They also sent in a new bottom piece for it and he had to change that out.
And then, we showed him the couch. We said we're having a problem with the safety mechanism that keeps popping out. At first, he thought it was dragging on the carpet but after he changed the base of the recliner, he took a second look at the couch and said it's probably because of the memory foam in that also. They knew they had a problem with this so I'm more upset because they're letting the problem repeat itself without fixing it. Although, the deal with the store and the purchase was fine. The designer came up in the house also and she took a look at the room and gave us the idea as far as colors go.

We had two others from La-Z-Boy before then it was time for new furniture and we bought a power recliner from them. The sales representatives and the delivery team were very good. The cost is a little high, though. Then the material has a really strong smell. For a number of weeks, we had to have the window open all the time. It's like the chemical and it's bad.

From sale to delivery and setup everything was great. Sales staff was patient and answered all our questions. Delivery people showed me how to use everything. We have 2 non-La-Z-Boy recliners and this one is much more comfortable. Guests who used the sleep sofa (blow up mattress) have told us it is the most comfortable they ever slept on.

We loved the help we got picking out our couch & 2 recliner gliders for our living room at our new house & we was able to see how it would look before we even bought it on a computer by putting in our room's dimensions & features like window size with a fireplace! I had La-Z-Boy a long time ago, and recently purchased a lift chair when they were on sale. The quality of this furniture is fantastic. The sales representative that I dealt with in Rancho Cucamonga was a wonderful woman. She was very personable and informative. The delivery crew was great. We purchased this Easy Power Lazy Time sofa to replace a huge overstuffed one that was 16 years old. We like the color, cloth and power recliner mechanisms. We were treated well by the sales associate who didn't try to sell us something other than what we came in for, a modern sofa that was on sale that is very comfortable and good looking.

We purchased 2 electric recliners in August of 2016. Since then we have had a repairman out once to read the chairs and are about ready to have them come out a second time. The padding is not sufficient and both my wife and myself feel that these chairs should be more comfortable. The service is good although it took forever the first time to have the padding delivered. Luckily we have quite a bit left over and it should not have to be ordered for the second try.

Francisco and Alfredo delivered our chairs promptly as scheduled, protected our floors with shoe covers and put the backs on the bases. They placed them where we wanted. Before they left they asked us to sit in them. A clicking sound was in one. Francisco got tools, adjusted that base and did the same to the other to be sure it would not cause us problems. Excellent customer service!

Customer service is TERRIBLE. PLEASE review my account. I cannot get my couch fixed. They now want to charge me for fixing it. That is not fair. I will be glad to change my review to 5 stars if only my couch gets fixed as promised to me many times.

I bought a La-Z-Boy power recliner at Robinson Mall about four-ish years ago, with everything but heat and massage, and opted for custom fabric. I bought the idea that it would last a long time, and hated that blah earth tones that were stock. The "special" fabric was ruined within three months. The footrest was covered in pills, like those tick infested rescue dogs you see on Youtube. The top threads separated from the underlying ones on the arm rests, seat, back cushion and everything frayed along all the edges.
I am one senior woman with arthritis that prevents any wild, abandoned movement. I could do little damage to a pair of pantyhose, let alone some jumbo, heavy duty upholstered chair. In a short, under warranty time, that chair looked like it had seen constant abuse from five riotous teenage boys, and belonged in down in the cellar, when we used to call it a game room. I called the store and asked for some kind of adjustment under the terms of warranty. Surprise! "Upholstery wasn't included in the warranty!"
So you buy La-Z-Boy at your own peril. I offered to provide new upholstery if they would just install it, or have them reimburse me for the tremendous premium price I paid for the custom fabric. Guess what they said? "We won't do that." Full stop. So what do they do when something they sell in good faith does not begin to match the La-Z-Boy boast about "quality and service justifying the price?" Bugger all, and don't bother making a case for fairness. (La chaise is now covered in a tacky stretch terry cover in a hideous earth tone I could have bought right off the floor for about $1200 less.)
It's like how your car loses one third of its value when you drive it off the lot. La-Z-Boy customers lose 100% of their value once the sale is made. They don't worry about customer satisfaction. They think they can lure you back to the store with some offer of a cheesy crystal bowl for free if you drop in. As if. Now, it is now, which is about four years later, I've got the recliner is still under warranty for mechanical problems. It looks like the furniture that goes down to the game room in the cellar. Two nights ago, the footrest gave out. The electronics still work, but something mechanical gave out. Now it hangs there, limp, and I have needs (arthritis) that that chair just isn't fulfilling.
I knew I have a lifetime warranty all mechanical parts, so I called the local store where I had made the purchase. I tried to call maybe five to six times. The first five, I hung up after the taped receptionist put me through to the service department. Once I reached them, they told me to hold until the "next available" answered, and the "next" still wasn't "available" after 15 plus minutes of holding. So I hung up each time. It's hilarious to think about, but I actually thought they might be busy until it became clear that leaving you hanging until... whenever... was SOP.
La-Z-Boy was operating under the "Screw you" school of customer service, didn't give a flying duck about the needs of its customers. If I wanted to talk to them, it would damned well be when and if they felt like answering; if I wanted a repair badly enough, I'd just have to hang on until they were good and ready to accept the call. So before the sixth call, I put together a nice light lunch and a Perrier to sustain me through the water waterboarding wait. Of course, when "next" finally answered, more than 25 minutes later, it's clear his answers were pre-packaged. If customer says "A" you answer "3." If customer makes complaint "R" no matter how justified, you blow them off with response "7," calculated to end the conversation. You know the one: "that's our policy." Full stop.
So first I had them sell me at an over-priced, defective upholstery they simply refused to provide a righteous solution for, they made getting service which they promised under their warranty a process developed in Gitmo, and then, three I finally told them about the mechanical failure of the footrest, and that I needed a repair ASAP because of my total body arthritis and reminded him that mechanical repairs are still under my five year warranty. He told me, that'd be $116.63 (warranty doesn't cover labor, surprise!) and I'd have to book that on another extension, but he wouldn't make the appointment nor pass me to the appointment desk unless I prepaid for the service! Hi-jacked again. I really don't need to point out how despicable the entire experience was to any sentient being. This might be a revelation to La-Z-Boy, but I don't think anything could penetrate that cloud of smug indifference.
He asked me if I had any questions and I asked, "Why does La-Z-Boy have such bad service?" I heard what I had heard coming through the earpiece all that time: dead unbothered silence. So I paid up, and got the appointment desk. "What can I do for you today?" All unctuous, saccharine. "Give better service." "You have reached the appointment desk. I have something in ten days." We have your money. TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT! That's it. You're paying for all those showrooms. Not quality merchandise, not solid unambiguous warranties, not humane attitude (once the sale is closed), certainly not good service. But something else. If it breaks, you could buy two more new ones for the price of one La la Boy.

I went to La-Z-Boy and asked for the smallest chair and they showed me one that felt good to my back. So after a couple of days thinking about it, I went ahead and ordered them. Everybody was very nice and helpful to me. My new furniture's fine and it's just what I wanted.

Twenty years ago, I bought a La-Z-Boy couch and seven years ago, I also bought my living room set from there. Then, recently, I got a Power Recliner because I just had a complete knee replacement surgery. I had an old recliner and there's nothing wrong with it but my sister has a La-Z-Boy with remote control and after staying at her place for two weekends, I had to buy myself one. The sales lady was wonderful. I was there with my sisters for almost two hours because I'm tall and I wanted to make sure my head gets in a certain way on the chair and my feet don't hang out over so bad. They've got multiple chairs in different sizes and things. Also, the staff doesn't bother you, they show what you're looking for and you go look at them. They're most helpful and friendly.
We got a good deal and had it delivered within two days which went wonderfully. They called me and they were early and that was fine. They brought it in, unpacked it, set it up, plugged it in for me and showed me where to put the batteries in and told me to make sure I get nine-volt batteries. They were as nice as can be. I love my chair. It's much easier to press the button instead of lifting that handle. This one also goes much higher, for my legs up, compared to my other one. One of my girlfriends was over and she's short and when she sat in it, her head doesn't fit well and I told her she has to go to their store and try them out. I love La-Z-Boy. That's why I had continue to be a buyer and so has my family.

I have to say I have never been so disappointed in a product as I am now. Your product is breaking down a year later. I spent 450 dollars your desk chair and already I am experiencing leather cracking and flaking? Is this real leather or just a company **. I really expected more from your company. We chose La-Z-Boy because of its reputation for quality; however, we became quickly dissatisfied. First, we were told that our furniture would arrive within 4-8 weeks after ordering. This was expected, which was why we purchased our furniture in October, allowing plenty of time for delivery before Christmas. The delivery of our furniture was unapologetically delayed until well into the new year. When the delivery was finally made, the delivery men did not remove their shoes and traipsed mud and gunk all through my house leaving a tremendous mess. It is now March, we have had the furniture for less than 2 months and the springs on our love seat are already starting to creak and groan. I really enjoy the look of our furniture; however, dealing with the company has been an absolute nightmare and I am shocked to find that it is falling apart already.

He lead me to the leather recliners where I picked out one, went home to get my wife and returned to purchase one for each of us. No drama, just did it!! My husband bought a lift chair from La-Z-Boy as a gift for me and told me it was the most expensive chair he has ever bought. He and my daughter picked out exactly what I would have picked out. They had different colors, but my husband chose the light beige because I have beige furniture in my living room. So, it was like it was made for the room. It's also the electric one where I can adjust the back and the feet. I like the lifting feature and the adjustment of the feet because it’s one of the few chairs where legs come up higher than just level. And I like it because I have trouble with swelling in my ankles and I get some relief with it. I sit on it all the time and we're really pleased with its quality. It’s very good and I love it.

I have been very disappointed with the sectional. The sectional is only a year old, it is my husband and myself, the top portion of the sectional I have already had to have replace. It started ripping at the seam. Recently the manual recliner broke, I went to put the sectional up and the spring went flying. I sent a message to La-Z-Boy from the website. They told me I need to talk to someone else, and the furniture is not returnable. THIS IS DISHEARTENING. LA-Z-BOY ALWAYS STATES THEY STAND BEHIND THEIR FURNITURE. VERY UNHAPPY WITH SERVICE.

I've had La-Z-Boy furniture in my home for 20 years. The mechanism underneath my old La-Z-Boy broke and it couldn't be repaired. We went back to the store and I was approached by the manager who offered to help. I explained what I wanted and my wife showed him a picture of my old recliner because I was very happy with it. He identified it immediately, took me to it, showed me all the options, and I purchased it. My last recliner was quite old and they don't make it anymore, but they have a similar one and it was very close. The cost in relation to the quality was very reasonable. Moreover, the delivery team was excellent. They were on time, very polite, and very helpful.

We were once looking at a couch and noticed that it was on clearance. A La-Z-Boy salesperson then randomly walked up and answered our questions like how we weren't able to change the fabric. There was also another couch that was similar to it across the way. The salesperson explained all the benefits of the different couches and was very helpful. In the end, we made our first La-Z-Boy purchase and those who delivered the couch put down blankets to protect it from damage when they moved everything in. They also explained how they put it together in case we needed to take it apart and move it. They were very nice and helpful. Overall, it was a satisfying experience and the staff of La-Z-Boy have been informative of their products. Also, the furniture is very comfortable and almost like a memory foam.

This was our second purchase over the past many years. This time we bought a chair for each of us. The salesman helped us "build" a chair that would work for each of us from the size and style of the chair through add ons and upholstery. We left the store to continue to look but returned in less than 30 minutes to place the order. Delivery was timely. We have enjoyed the chairs for three months so far and are totally satisfied and comfortable. When these wear out, we will replace again.

I visited the gallery on 14th St. a few times before buying my furniture. Each time, the staff was great to me as I deliberated and went through fabric swatches over and over. Duquan (my apologies if I mess up the spelling of his name) was there most of the times I came and helped a ton. He was the best. My furniture is wonderful and I'm overall really pleased with the experience.

The reclining sofa is too narrow for an adult to lie comfortably and does not allow arms/elbows room. The reclining chair's cushion seat is at an angle that causes discomfort to a small person's lower back. It was chosen because it fit a shorter person; however something feels wrong and causes pain to the spine. Please note that you sent a representative to my home on February 10 but to date I have not received a report or any comment. Please contact me a.s.a.p. as I was advised that the cushion warranty was almost expired. I am deeply disappointed that you are not honoring your lifetime warranty claim and want La-Z-Boy to keep their promise to a faithful customer without charging any fees.

The old sofa we had fell apart and we thought we might as well get something that was better and would hold up longer. We went with La-Z-Boy and the sales reps were friendly and as far as I'm told, the delivery guys were good, too. We like the quality of the furniture so far and have been satisfied with La-Z-Boy.

I moved into a new house so I decided to purchase new furniture from La-Z-Boy. I had a sales rep talk to me one day when I came in. One of their stores happens to be near my office so I set up a time for a designer to come up to our house to measure and we met the designer at the store close to our house and presented some options. And we went forward with the sectional and a couple of other pieces. However, the power station of the sectional was not working. Other than that, it's a good stuff and I would recommend them.

I think our sales man was Josh. A young student part timer. He was polite, with an easy personality, not pushy. Knew his inventory. Was very helpful. We have been La-Z-Boy customers for a long time so it was not a difficult sale for him, but he did a fine job, and I want to acknowledge that. Delivery went fine. This order was placed 12/20/16 according to the cart date. Today I learned that it would not be complete until the middle of March. I was told that it would be ready the end of February. Very unreliable. Almost 3 months to get a 4 piece sectional. It feels like my order is not significant enough for La-Z-Boy to bother putting together in a timely fashion.

Overall, our experience when purchasing our new recliner was wonderful. Pete was attentive and very helpful. And, the delivery team was wonderful, too. However, after we had the chair in our home, we had some concerns about whether it was a good fit for us, in terms of our ability to get in and out of the chair (one of us has hip and leg issues). We called Pete and asked if it was possible to return the chair. Because it was a special order, he didn't think it was possible, but he said he would check with his manager and get back to us. That was over a week ago and he has not yet called us to let us know the manager's response. It very well may be that it is not possible to return the chair, but a phone call verifying that outcome would have been good. In that respect, the customer service was not responsive.

The experience overall was excellent, but there were some issues. The sample fabric did not arrive when expected. When I called to find out the status of the fabric sample order and the furniture order, they could not find my order and my credit card had already been charged. When I traveled back to the store, I found they had put my middle name in as my last name and misspelled that. It took another call after that to get the fabric samples delivered.

My experience with La-Z-Boy hadn’t been too good. At first, we had bought cheaper units and the cushions went out real fast. We decided to go to a better brand and everybody's been telling us to buy La-Z-Boy, so that’s what we did. Their sales rep was really helpful in picking out fabrics, but the picture that she showed me did not depict what we actually wound up with. The drink holder was much shorter than the rest of the couch, so the backs are not even. There was a metal handle sticking out on the little cabinet that was on the bottom of the beverage holders which I had to take off because it can cut legs on them when trying to get up or down. We tried taking the beverage holders out, but it makes the unit too short for the room. It’s terrible. We ordered the memory foam on the whole thing and the cushion’s about three quarters an inch lower than the rest of the couch.
The delivery people did a great job carrying it in, being very courteous and showed how it goes together. But it doesn’t fit together. If it gets fit in the front, there’s an inch and a half gap in the back. If the back slides together, there’s a gap in the front. It’s really an awful design. We talked with them and they sent a guy to look at it. He heard all our complaints and examined it. Then they sent us cushion for the corner piece with no fabric on it. They thought we're going to take the couch apart and install the cushion, but that’s not my job. So, it’s just sitting out in the garage wrapped in plastic. We’re unhappy with the whole thing.
We'll never buy another La-Z-Boy product and I’ll make sure everybody I talk to doesn’t buy their products too. I live in a high-end gay community and I’ll kill them in here. It’s absolutely awful. We’ve paid $6,500 for it and it’s the worst looking couch we’ve ever bought. I’m a long way from ever being happy with it. They should fix it and if they can’t, they should replace it. They have a good reputation in the market and they’re supposed to have a top notch product so they should go to some lengths to try to satisfy us instead of blowing us off and sending us a cushion that we’d have to hire an upholstery man to put in. I won’t bother spending the money to have it put in. I'll just run them in the ground every chance I get. We’ll wind up selling this couch out and buying something else.

I just had shoulder surgery and I knew I was gonna have to sleep on it for three months. So, I picked the higher priced recliner that felt really comfortable when you laid back into it and the sales lady was a good salesperson to make sure that I was getting what I thought I wanted. But when I got this one, it didn't have that same feeling or the comfort. I'm in the middle of trying to get them to look at what I received versus what I got at the store. I'm not really satisfied with the fact that when I got the La-Z-Boy recliner, it's a loveseat. I went the next day and looked and sat at it again and it is not still the same. Also, it wasn't as cushiony and as foamy-feeling when you sat down on it as the one in the store.
So, they said they would send somebody out to look at it. I told the girl when I went in to tell whoever can come out that it just feels like when you push certain buttons, it's supposed to feel comfortable but you feel the bar instead. I never said it was broken. She knew that and so did the supervisor. She said they'll do everything they can to make it right for me. They can do it right there on the site and add more padding if I need it. So, I thought that's what was gonna happen. It took two weeks to get somebody out here and when he came, he said that he came just to see if something's broken and everything seem to be working just right. I told him there's nothing broken, it's just not as comfortable. But that's all that he could do and that he'd report his findings. I asked who could come to do it but there were no answers, no commitments and no re-directions. Nobody has called me and I haven't heard anything.
I don't know how to make them accountable to make sure you get what you think you're getting because the numbers matched when they brought it in with what we ordered. But that doesn't change the reality that how this one was manufactured with the padding was different than the one I sat in at the store. It may be the right size and the same look and the same mechanical function. They said they're gonna make things right but nothing has happened. It seems like you buy something and you're stuck with it.

I entered the La-Z-Boy showroom and someone greeted me and helped me picked out what I wanted. In fact, they had an example in there. I then purchased some recliners. I have had them for a month now and so far, I like them. The quality and cost were fine.

We bought a 3 piece Manhattan suite in leather from S.C.S. The workmanship is atrocious. One chair is a manual recliner which doesn't work. There are creases where the leather has been folded. The sides of the chair backs are all out of shape. The back of the 2 seater settee has a 3" slope from center to edge on one side. The recliner I use after less than 2 weeks has sagged where my legs have been when sat. We have had this for less than 2 weeks. It looks as though it is at least 5 years old. I am in dispute with S.C.S demanding a full refund. The lack of care and workmanship is absolutely terrible. Do not buy La-Z-Boy.

After a lengthy process, my wife and I found a desk and printer stand/filing cabinet to suit our study. We liked the printer stand so much we purchased a second stand and are using it as an end table/archived filing. There was a minor flaw on the desktop that we discovered upon delivery; however, the sales person and customer service were very helpful and respectful in rectifying the situation. Very pleased with the furniture. We highly recommend this store.

Clayton Lift Chair - the lift chair has worked well and reliably for six years, almost seven. However, the cabled remote switch failed in the up position, making the chair unusable. I've tried to get hold of La-Z-Boy parts with no luck. After being on hold for over 30 minutes a human tells me, "The parts guys go home at 4:30 and they'll call back tomorrow." This is silly. The part should be available online without having to mess around with people that don't seem interested in solving the problem or much less able to solve it.

I really like my Ottoman, which is just what I wanted. The material (faux leather?) is not as sturdy as I hoped. Already my dogs scratched the top. But it is a lovely and well-made item; I will just have to put a throw blanket or something over the top.

After waiting a long time to purchase my La-Z-Boy recliner and carefully choosing a fabric in the store to custom cover it, I waited with anticipation only to receive my recliner and have it not be comfortable! The foam in the back and seat of the chair was so firm but after sitting there for a while I had a headache and was so uncomfortable in it. I contacted the company and they sent out a representative who told me there was nothing they could do. It will just take a while to break it in (May I say their representative who came out to my house was rude to me?).
I returned to the store and sat in the same chair that I tried and was the reason I purchased that particular chair. The chair in the store was delightfully comfortable. I believe that they used a different type of foam perhaps a less expensive one but very firm when they made the custom chair. I was told that it's a custom chair and there's nothing I could do about it. They told me the chairs in the store are well-worn and I would just have to break it in. I went above and beyond to purchase a La-Z-Boy recliner versus the many others out there in the market because of their reputation. I spent a considerable amount of money on this chair, above and beyond what I would have on a cheaper recliner elsewhere.
I am very disappointed that I have received what I so longed to for only to be disappointed that it is very uncomfortable! It's surprised me that La-Z-Boy would not get behind it and that the company that advertises the most comfortable chairs around would tell me I would be required to "break it in" to find comfort in it. I currently have two other La-Z-Boy recliners in my house that are very comfortable and have been for years. I don't recall ever having to break one in! Very dissatisfied and disappointed with my purchase. My recommendation, buy only what's on the floor that you can sit in and do not order custom things from La-Z-Boy, you may not get what you hoped for!

I was impressed with the fabric selections available. My salesperson was knowledgeable and helpful. I feel your prices are quite high. I picked up my chair myself and wish I had known that the chair was not assembled. I rented a truck and that would not have been necessary if I had realized that I could slide the bottom of the chair into my car and the seatback could be put in behind it. I had called and asked about that and was told that they were not sure. I also think that, at the prices you are asking for your product, delivery should be included.

We paid over $1,200 each for two La-Z-Boy recliners. In less than 2 years the leather is delaminating on both chairs. The store manager says to prevent this we should have vacuumed the chairs every 30 days. Maybe so. No one told us. None of our other leather furniture requires this treatment. They will not honor the 5 year guarantee on the leather even though the chairs are 2 years old. We paid top dollar because we thought we got good quality. Take my advice. Do not buy La-Z-Boy. There is no quality and there is no honor in this company.

I purchased a reclining loveseat for my sister who is an endometrial cancer survivor (eight years now) after her husband passed away. As a result of her treatment she doesn't have much stamina and is a bit unsteady on her feet so she spends much of her time in her small condo. She was thrilled to have a comfortable place to sit while watching TV. She frequently falls asleep in the chair so it isn't being moved up and down frequently.
We waited eight weeks for the recliner to be built and delivered. All was good until just a couple of weeks past the one year warranty when the mechanism that raises the leg rest on one side of the loveseat broke - oddly the side she doesn't use every day but the one I sit in when I visit. Service was nice enough to let the visit be covered by the warranty. We waited several weeks for the part to arrive and then another two weeks for service to be scheduled. Last year the same part broke on the recliner my sister uses daily. This time we had to pay the $100+ service fee. Fortunately the technician had the part in his van so we didn't have to wait again.
The service technicians - a different one each time - both said that this is a common occurrence. It's made of plastic! Several thousand dollars for a loveseat should have better designed parts for such a crucial part. And here we are again for THIRD TIME CALLING FOR THE SAME PART TO BE REPLACED AGAIN. Not only is this something one shouldn't expect from the La-Z-Boy name but it is extremely upsetting for my sister.
I can no longer afford such an expensive purchase for my sister and of course she who had to stop working when she was 58 due to her cancer, certainly can't afford to purchase such expensive furniture after only four years. I always research possible issues with large items before I purchase them but I didn't think I had to with the La-Z-Boy name. Please inquire about the materials designed and used in the furniture you are considering before making your purchase.

I bought a couch that was leather and it peeled crazy. I couldn’t stand it anymore because it's making a big mess all over my house. So, I went in around Thanksgiving and spoke to the La-Z-Boy rep. He took my information and then got me in touch with their designer. She came over to my house to do all the design and everything was good. I scheduled delivery and their delivery team were good. So far, everything's good. However, I don’t like when they start to sag a lot. I hope this thing lasts for a while. Overall, it has been a good experience and they're very helpful.

We've been buying those La-Z-Boy chairs in the past and recently we bought a love seat, some recliners, and some end tables. In fact, we ordered another end table with the glass top on it. It was all around a really good and wonderful experience. Initially, we went into the store and started with the sales rep. He was very helpful and knew what he was doing. He knew their product and how to make people happy. We were undecided about some things and the sale rep referred us to their designer. He said they supplied that and that she'll come out and look at the source which we said would be great. Then that lady came out with us and gave us some good ideas. She seemed to like where we were going and we liked what she had to say.
We went ahead and ordered the items then they called and told us when they were ready to deliver it. The delivery guys were very nice too and they came when they said they'd be here. We asked them about things and they answered our questions. They were also careful with everything. Nothing was scratched or damaged. We're very happy with the furniture. It's very comfortable, very durable and we get compliments on it. We love it and we sit on the love seat all the time.

We've had recliners from La-Z-Boy before for 35 years. Then I bought a couch from them again recently. I got it on a sale so I was happy about that. I like the couch that I chose and it’s sturdy. Also, the saleslady was very, very nice and informative. The delivery guys were, as well, on time and very polite and they did a good job. The only thing I didn't appreciate was the $99 that was charged for the delivery because I've never had to pay a delivery fee before for furniture. They did tell me about this service fee and I told the saleslady that I had never paid a delivery charge before. She said that they had an outside delivery service. I ended up paying it. Other than that, I was very happy with La-Z-Boy and I'd purchase from them again.

Bought recliner in good faith on Monday. Delivery available Thursday. OK I waited. Time came no recliner. Called. Was a computer problem. Now have to wait another week. For this inconvenience, I should have free delivery. ONLY delivery not available for 5 days later. This is not fair. Paid a high price and this what a person has to endure. No one should have this much trouble with this business. You would think they would give a little to keep a customer happy so they would return, but NO. Delivery are scheduled in certain areas on certain days ONLY. WHAT IS THEIR PROBLEM? I will NOT buy any furniture from La-Z-boy again for their POOR service. Buy your furniture elsewhere.
UPDATED ON 03/04/2017: We bought a recliner on a Monday (Feb. 23, 2017) expected to pick up recliner on Friday (Feb. 27, 2017). Could not pick up recliner because the salesperson claims there was a computer error therefore Houston didn't receive request plus there was no one available to help loading recliner even if it came in. Therefore had to wait another week for delivery (Mar. 2, 2017). I told them that since this was their fault they should deliver this recliner to my house free of charge. Was told that they would deliver for free if I waited 5 extra days (Mar 7, 2017) because delivery is not made to Nederland except on Tuesdays. I called the store on the following Thursday (Mar. 2, 2017) to make sure recliner was in. The recliner was in that day. A family member was going to pick up the recliner on Thursday morning (Mar. 2, 2017) but was told they could not pick up until after 3pm because no one there to help load recliner.
What furniture business does not have anyone available with customer pick up during the early afternoon hours. I think this store should have delivered this recliner on that day for their error instead of my family having to go to this store twice to get it. This is very poor business. They care about the sale of the furniture but not afterwards. I told them this on the phone how bad their customer service. I will not step foot in the store again and will tell everyone I know and others how bad they are about their customer service. THIS IS 2 THUMBS DOWN!!! Located in Beaumont, Texas. Paid $1150.59 for recliner. They never tried to make any amends for their error. I guess we're supposed to just close our eyes to this rude and unprofessional business.

My experience at La-Z-Boy was very positive. My sales clerk Sheila ** was a lovely, personable and knowledgeable lady. She provided lots of helpful information and was never pushy. My new sofa was delivered about 3-4 weeks earlier than the estimated delivery date which was wonderful. I live in a basement suite and my doors are all narrower and/or shorter than standard size and the two young delivery men went through hell trying to wrestle it in without damaging it (which they eventually did). Kudos to them for never losing their composure and never giving up. At the time it never occurred to me to get their names and I feel badly about that because their skill and attitude were commendable. All in all a very enjoyable experience!

I love the looks and comfort of my new recliner. The sales lady (Amy **) was perfect and very helpful. But, I "HATE" the annoying squeak that developed less than two weeks of owning it. My old recliner was almost 15 years old and made no out of the ordinary noises. But because of the good service provided by Amy at the Barboursville, WV store I will most likely purchase from La-Z-Boy again when I replace the other chair in my living room. But I am disappointed with the squeak that appeared so early with this recliner.

Had La-Z-Boy chairs in long past, where great places to nap. :-) Decided to get reclining sofa, got a 3-section "James" and LOVE IT! It's my preferred place--even was better than my own bed while going through a week-long medical recovery. Samantha at the store was simply stellar in how she approached us, understanding what we really wanted and not just what we said, and then crafting the whole package (add-ons) to be perfect for us. We can hardly wait. It seems to "need" a new piece so we can work with her again! And the recliner--NASA ought to use them on spacecraft for comfy launches!

Check-out is antiquated. The sales staff was excellent but I feel that all of the ordering and paperwork should all be automated. Sales people should be able to write up orders via a tablet or iPad and stock numbers and color codes should automatically fill in on the order. Also checkout took us 45 minutes due to all the manual entries being done. I felt I was back in the 1950's. La-Z-Boy lost a lot of customers due to the waiting for sales staff that were doing manual data entry.

We worked with two La-Z-Boy stores, and everyone at both stores were wonderful. They didn’t put too much pressure on us, and they were knowledgeable. The delivery team was also wonderful. They brought everything in and placed it exactly where we wanted it and were in and out very quickly without making a mess. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our La-Z-Boy furniture and it's definitely very comfortable.

So far, the furniture we got from La-Z-Boy is very nice. The sales representative was fine. We had a little trouble later on as to what was getting delivered because they shut up the store for remodeling, but the stuff was delivered and the guys took care of everything. We didn’t realize though how they were gonna handle the old stuff, but otherwise everything’s fine. Also, the delivery team was careful with everything.

The purchase of a new La-Z-Boy recliner was excellent. The delivery time was arranged in advance with a window stated. Driver arrived on time and set up the chair. After 2 weeks a loud squeak developed and it was repaired in our home. The technician also looked at our older recliner, did some adjustments, and indicated that it needed shop work which was under warranty. To date we have not had the repair completed as my husband injured his back and his La-Z-Boy also allows him to sleep. He is not comfortable in bed. Overall, great service in purchase and repair.

We had visited EVERY furniture store in the area in search of a recliner that fit my elderly dad's needs, as well as our budget and quality and fit requirements. Came here on a snowy evening and Diane assisted us with every variable we queried. We unknowingly kept her past closing time and she didn't bat an eye. We returned another day to make the purchase and while approaching the desk a large LOUD bolt of static electricity shot out of my wife's fingertip and onto mine. Ended up buying TWO recliners, one for us plus the original one for dad. Looking at a third purchase.

We ordered a manual reclining leather sofa and loveseat in java color. The products were delivered on 2/22/2017 and they are very comfortable, look great and you could easily sleep in either sofa or loveseat. We like them.

The sales reps at La-Z-Boy were very helpful and very good. They showed us everything in what we were looking for. It was an outstanding experience. Although, the items were not delivered yet because there's something about that fabric that wasn't going to be in until the beginning of April. Also, I don't get a discount for paying cash.

We already had to have service done on the furniture that we purchased last January 15. The sewing on it is unacceptable. The whole back on the seat where my husband sits is all cockeyed already. It's in worse shape than the furniture we had for seven years. And the lady that I talked to about getting this fixed said that the back of the chairs don’t always line up and it’s acceptable that way. I’m very unhappy with that.

We've had a chair from La-Z-Boy for 20 years and it has been fantastic. We've recently bought a power sofa and loveseat and we are hoping that these last for 20 years as well. The salesman was great and nice. We knew we wanted leather, so he showed and explained to us all the different styles and thicknesses of leather. However, we haven't gotten our stuff yet so we need to make arrangements for them to deliver it. But first, we have to get rid of the stuff we have. Overall, it was a fantastic experience for us.

LOVE our recliners! We've owned La-Z-Boy recliners for close to 20 years and would never buy anything else! We will definitely be buying new couches/loveseats in the near future. Our saleslady was awesome, just the perfect blend of providing the information we wanted and then let us roam around, not pushy, let us decide what we needed, but provided good suggestions and information! The salesperson walked us through what was available that could make the chair more suited to him. We would definitely shop at La-Z-Boy in the future. I always buy La-Z-Boy. In fact, I bought eight La-Z-Boy chairs now, and I just bought a lift chair for my 83-year-old mom. I love the lift part, however, I wish I would have taken her to the showroom with us because out of the eight lift chairs there, I got the small one and it's so deep. She keeps sliding down in it. They need to design a lift chair for a woman. Not everybody is 600 lbs, and all the lift chairs are very wide. The La-Z-Boy salespeople were all very friendly. I was surprised, though, there were older salesladies when I went in and bought two chairs last Christmas. This time, they were all young ladies.

We live in Chicago for 12 years now and my husband's poor chair, which we bought from California, was literally falling apart. In fact, it's also a La-Z-Boy that we had for years. So, it was a last minute decision to purchase on our part. Their sales gal and the manager were both very nice, and it was delivered just fine. However, my husband said that he tipped them and they never even said "thank you" which was odd. Nevertheless, the quality is fine. It's not as big and lush and comfy as the other one but it was also relatively inexpensive and on sale since we're retired and on a fixed income. Overall, it has been a very nice experience.

We’ve had La-Z-Boy for more than 20 years when we were in Chicago. But we moved into a townhome, so we had been looking to have something that would help in the redecoration of the furniture in that area. We thought of La-Z-Boy and went to see what they had. Their sales representative was interested in what we were looking for and helped us identify alternatives to what we were trying to do. The delivery team was very efficient. They came in, moved the pieces that we were taking out, and they installed a new unit. Thus far, we feel very happy with it. Cost versus quality was fine. It’s wonderful, very comfortable and it does exactly what we expected.

Our experience with La-Z-Boy has been wonderful. I really appreciate everything they’ve done. However, they delivered the wrong item and it wasn’t the right color. It was an end table that didn’t match the other end table but it was no big deal. It got corrected right away. Their reps were very friendly and very helpful. We had just moved from Fairbanks, Alaska and we’re in renovations so we didn’t have any furniture. Their designer traveled out here which is over an hour drive and helped me a lot. We still have a long way to go in the house, but at least we have nice comfortable furniture to sit in now.
The only drawback was on the La-Z-Boy chairs itself. I’ve had La-Z-Boy for years. We got some Power Recliner for both myself and my husband and Power Recliners for the couches, and I thought that they were Wall-Away’s that can be up next to the wall and they come out in the room. But they have to sit out further in the room than what I anticipated. But it’s okay. My husband loves to recline so when he starts reclining and I'd tell him to pull that baby out first because he'll hit the wall. Other than that, I like everything a lot. We’re really happy with the furniture and I’m very pleased with them. I'd recommend them to somebody else.

Recently purchased two leather recliners and a table to place between the chairs from La-Z-Boy's Fleming Island FL location. This combination serves as our TV watching station in our family room. From the moment we walked through the doors and viewed the huge showroom, we knew we would find our chairs! At our request, we browsed and tried out on our own and when we felt ready, a salesman listened carefully and provide very knowledgeable feedback. Sensing we were not quite settled, he showed us some possibilities we had overlooked and by the time we were discussing which fabric for which chair, we were very happy. Check-out was pleasant and straightforward, with the salesman accompanying us throughout. On 1/8/17 I purchased 2 LZ recliners and 2 end tables. I asked that they hold the tables and ship with the recliners. I was told delivery would be 3 to 4 weeks. Well here we are 7 weeks later and still no delivery. Am now told maybe 3/3/17 for shipping. Not happy. Salesman needs to learn to respond to emails and phone calls.

We used the in-home design team. Kevin and Brie nailed it right from the beginning. Choices of accessories brought the whole look together. We've had a few glitches of product availability which have been beyond their control. We are still waiting on the area rug which will tie the look together.

Spent extra on an extended warranty. 3 weeks into having my new recliner, had trouble with the electric motor. Called for service and had it repaired. Now, 1.3 yrs later, heating unit keeps coming on by itself.. cannot stop it. Called on my warranty, to find out it now costs me $109 for the guy to come look at it. So in fact my warranty covers nothing unless I pay again?? What happened to customer service on a quality product??? Guess I would have been better off buying a cheap recliner with no warranty and just replace it. REALLY disappointed - never again.
UPDATED ON 04/25/2017: 2 months from initial call, parts and technician arrived yesterday. Come to find out wrong part was ordered. Guess now I will have to wait another month??? Glad my heated recliner might get fixed for the cold month of JULY or AUGUST. And yes, LA-Z-BOY, it was you who took 4 weeks to order the part, not the extended warranty Co. PS Thanks for the useless form letter trying to put the blame on them.

Love my furniture and the service. I'm VERY happy with my couch and remote control recliner. I'm trying to recover from a broken back and multiple procedures related to it. I could not find a comfortable way to sit. My new lounger with massage and heat and almost flat recline has been an amazing help with my pain. I appreciated designer, Brooke, and her work with me. After the rug was delivered, we noticed a flaw in the carpet; there are threads protruding from the surface. I had to take a picture of it to the store; store rep contacted manufacturer. After a couple of days, store rep called to tell me I should just trim the threads; manufacturer would do nothing about it. We just spent over 2,500 in your store, in addition to have made multiple purchases from you over the past 15 years; I shouldn't have to 'repair' a newly purchased item. Will shop elsewhere going forward.

I bought two La-Z-Boy recliners. I bought one and then went back a week or two later and bought another one just like it. I'm a very peculiar person and as far as the appearance, I spot things that are probably shouldn't be spotted. On the second chair, I can walk by and see the staples exposed, where on the first chair I don't see any staples. Furthermore, the sales rep is very unfriendly and I'll never buy from him again. He acted like my money wasn't any good. He basically looked down at me like I was a hippy or something. My beard's white and got a little length to it but I'm 60 years old. I'll drive 100 miles to buy from someone else before I'll ever speak to him again.

La-Z-Boy was fine. We had two previous chairs and we donated them to the Vietnam Veterans and the two new ones are wonderful. Our experience in the store and the manager we dealt with were very nice. We purchased a power leather recliner for approximately $2000 about 24 months ago. The color is coming off. I contacted La-Z-Boy and they told me it was because we had dust in our house, or lotion on our bodies. I was told it was not a manufacturer defect. If I wanted to check with the leather company that they provided me a name for to have it re-dyed I could on my own. I will never do business with them again.

So far, the quality of the sleeper sofa that I got from La-Z-Boy is really good. We haven't used the sleeper aspect of it yet but there's been a few times where I just lounged out and took a little nap on there. It's comfortable and we're also enjoying the chairs and couch and even the rugs. They're all beautiful. Also, their sales reps were courteous all the time and the delivery team did a nice job.

I've had La-Z-Boy before and I came back hoping that the quality and the brand is still where it used to be. But recently we had to have a service call because the sofa wasn't quite right when it was delivered. Bolts were loose on the back rails and the guys who delivered it didn't tighten them up properly. It's a three-piece and the one side was looser than the other side so it wasn't right. I could have fixed it but since it was new, it's not my job. So we called out the service guy and again, he came in. I went and checked it up last night when I got home and it seems to be okay. Also, it takes six weeks to get the first appointment. But the service guy did show up and he was well within the window and the delivery guys have been good in terms of calling, contacting and hitting their windows.

First time shopping at La-Z-Boy Kitchener Ontario. We bought a queen size sofa bed, 2 High Leg recliners and set of 3 cocktail tables. They are just beautiful! Very happy with our purchase. The sales help was excellent. It was a custom made order. The delivery service was great! We are moving to Kitchener in May. Will shop for dining room suite & buffet. Also 3 bar stools for island. I visited the La-Z-Boy showroom in early January 2017. After looking around, I found the right set for me. The salesperson was extremely helpful but not pushy or hovering. I ordered it that very day. I was told to expect 2-3 months for delivery so I was very pleasantly surprised when it arrived in mid February. They delivered and set them up. They went through all the operations and the warranty information. It fits in the room and operates without work. I could not be happier.

Purchase sofa and chair 3 years ago. Less than 1 year later it was starting to show wear. The ultra shield warranty expired at 1 year so we figured they wouldn't help and we were stuck with it. We loved the furniture, but now after 3 years it looks like it belongs at the curb. Chair is a different fabric and is okay. I called to complain and was put in touch with a tech who told me how much they would charge for reupholstering. The whole sofa needs it so it's ridiculously expensive. Sent a message telling the tech that this fabric has to defective, I can't believe any reputable company would sell something that looks like this. Heard nothing back. Very disappointed in the furniture and will not recommend or purchase from La-Z-Boy again.

From initial visit to the store, to selection of the sofa, to delivery, everything was outstanding! Not the cheapest price, but definitely high quality and protection! We love the sofa and are extremely happy with our selection! We will consider this La-Z-Boy again in the future when we are in the market for furniture. After a recommendation from a colleague, I decided to check out La-Z-Boy for some new chairs. The second I walked in the door, Donna ** simply introduced herself, gave me her card, advised she would not follow me around the store but if and when I needed help or needed answers to any questions, she would be available. Although I had absolutely no intention of purchasing anything that Sunday, I walked out the very excited and proud owner of 2 new chairs... on sale and in the exact colour I wanted. I picked them up Friday, and have barely left them all weekend. If or when I am in the market for more furniture or if my friends express an interest in purchasing furniture, I will definitely recommend/be back! Thank you for a fantastic experience!

I have had my sectional for less than 2 years and my seat that I sit on, the only one that gets sat on has already lost its support. The seat has sunk in, the lumbar area is so flat now it does no good. I bought this sectional because in the store it felt great and I thought it would help with my bad back. I was also told it would last a very long time. I'm sorry less than 2 years is not a long time. I went to the customer service and they said there was nothing they could do since it was out of its 1 year warranty period. I could buy a new one or have the original re-stuffed for more $. Neither option is good enough.
One would think that La-Z-Boy would stand behind their name. I am passing the word on to my friends to not invest in your furniture. For La-Z-Boy not even be willing to help, but just to charge me more is unthinkable and unacceptable. Unless La-Z-Boy makes things right guaranteed I will not spend my money there and I will continue to pass the word to others not to invest in your furniture.

I'm happy with the overall sectional and it fits perfectly with the help of the measuring expert that came to the house. However when delivered the back cushions were floppy and did not have enough fill in them to be more structured as the floor sample. I called customer service before the delivery men left, because I did not want the furniture as is, and they said in a few days a tech will be out to blow in fill. A contractor came out and only took pics (and turned over every piece to obtain serial #s and now the sectional is out of line) and I am waiting to see if La-Z-Boy will indeed fix the cushions.

Very unhappy with your so-called customer service. There were a few issues with our $2,000.00 Tribeca sofa we purchased & they are still not resolved. The number to reach "support" never seems to be answered. Have been left on hold to mummify on several occasions. Took 3 weeks to get a rep out here & now another 3 weeks before someone comes back to fix the problems. I am very dissatisfied with my entire experience & wish you would really take a good look at your customer service department & revise a better way to service your customers, before you have none left.

We ordered two matching green leather recliners in early Nov. 16. They came in earlier than anticipated and I was really excited until I saw them. They are both defective so I refused them. That was 12/31/16. A few weeks ago I was contacted on told they had been repaired. Today they were delivered and they are both still defective. The "workmanship" is not good and the hem around the back legs does not even line up. I refused them again. I am very NOT happy. I paid partially in cash up front and financed part. The financed portion was not supposed to be due until I had the chairs, but the "clock" started in Dec. so I have now made 2 payments for chairs I do not have. I fear that this is not going to be fixed and it will be a big fight to get my money back.

We ordered furniture on November 26. I was told it would be here in 6-8 weeks. I was called in January to set up delivery for 1/14/17. I was called on 1/13/17 and told my furniture was damaged in shipping and they would reorder it and it would be another 6-8 weeks. It's been almost 3 months and I still have no furniture. I was planning on ordering another couch when this one was delivered but I have since reconsidered. When I asked about a discount on another piece for the inconvenience of waiting this long I was told I could get the same discount as on the original order. I don't feel that is a big enough discount for this much inconvenience.

We have owned La-Z-Boy furniture for 30 years. I just can't shop elsewhere. La-Z-Boy makes a superior piece of furniture and stands behind their product. I don't know if their delivery and warehouse service has changed but this is the first time that we have had the furniture mechanisms explained to us. Appreciated that. Who knew that the chair backs locked on! And growing up with La-Z-Boy furniture, when our son got his home, he too purchased a La-Z-Boy sofa and recliner. You just can't beat the quality and the service.

I purchased a dual reclining couch on May 14th 2014 and couldn't be more displeased. Three days after having it in my home the support backing on the left side footrest broke allowing the padded footrest to fold if you place your feet on it in a raised position. Eight days later the plastic footrest release lever broke also. It continues to allow me to release the footrest so it will raise but still isn't functioning properly. Now the back will not recline due to a broken plastic device that the back frame rides in.
I'm a very patient person and I have been reluctant to complain because this is no one's fault but my own for purchasing this couch. Over the years your products have been in my home and I have enjoyed them greatly. But, when steel and plastic replaced wood frames and more durable components the quality took a severe nosedive. I'm doubtful this will ever reach the people that can escalate this into a genuine company concern. Now I'm going to deal with taking this back to the store I purchase it from for repairs and not having something to sit on for a week. Thank you in advance for allowing me to vent my concerns and please do something to regain your previous reputation for initial quality in your products.

We've had La-Z-Boy in our home for about 2 years now. Recently, my wife got our third La-Z-Boy purchase which were a sectional chair and an ottoman as our couches were already almost 20 years old. She had all positive remarks for how the reps helped her, especially because she picked out a different fabric. Everything went well. Their delivery team was also good. They were quick and efficient. They cleaned all their stuff up and put the furniture all together. They were very customer service oriented. We’d recommend La-Z-Boy.

I met Diana in the store (Perimeter Place in Atlanta) and she helped me look around. When I was unsure about what fabric and rug to select, she suggested that I meet with Beth **, the in-home designer. Beth came to my home, took measurements and pictures and we set up a time to meet back in the store. She had three alternatives for me and we worked through my selections and I placed the order. Both she and Diana were wonderful. Everything arrived perfectly just as ordered. The delivery men were awesome and on time. I have a small problem with one of the recliners with a piece of metal almost sticking through the fabric on the back of the chair. I've contacted Adam in Service and we've set up an appointment to have it looked at next week. Overall, my experience was excellent. I am now working with Beth on another order for my den/office.

We visited a La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery in early January to look for a couple of recliner chairs. My wife and I ordered two Rileys, each with differing fabric designs and cording. On the way home, we realized we hadn't exercised all our options and called them back put a hold on our order until we could get back to the store (we live an hour away). On our next visit, the store's designer assisted our salesperson to find us the perfect combination of what we wanted. The order went in and in about 5 weeks, we received a call that the chairs were in and were scheduled for delivery. We love our new chairs and have received many compliments on them in our family room. I'm guessing that one or two of our neighbors will be taking a look at La-Z-Boy!

When you purchase recliners it takes more than a few days to determine if it is the "right fit". Return/exchange policy should be more than just a few days. We purchased 2 recliners. I got a great deal on the leather but it is uncomfortable w/ the back of the seat causing a lot of pressure on my spine.

I did and was told that it would not be delivered for another 4-6 weeks. This is the bone that I have to pick with you. Delivery guys were great. Couldn't ask for any better.

I had a wonderful shopping experience. I cannot compliment Matt enough. Throughout my city-wide shopping experience he was the most helpful and patient salesman. He is the only reason I gave any stars. My sofa was delivered yesterday very timely. Unfortunately it was not the sofa that I ordered. I was told that I now have to wait another 4-6 weeks for the correct sofa and the current one will be picked up this coming week leaving me without a sofa until the new one arrives. (I gave away the old one the day the new one was to be delivered).
A loaner sofa was mentioned. Unfortunately there is nothing comparable available. All of this comes in the middle of having guests in from out of town and a party planned. I should be given a partial discount or allowed to keep this sofa until the new one comes. At the very minimum the company should search the surrounding states to find a similar colored sofa in the same model for the loaner and should reimburse me the delivery and pick up tip payments. Another option would be to let me use the delivered mistake - sofa until the one that I ordered comes. It would be the easiest thing to do on both ends - I would not be so inconvenienced and you would not have to arrange another pickup. I made no mistakes and shouldn't be punished for the one that La-Z-Boy made. This certainly makes me not want to shop at La-Z-Boy again and to recommend that others not do so either.

Overall, I can't say this has been a great experience. The salesperson at the store was ok, she was knowledgeable about the products we ordered but there were issues. I ordered 2 lounger chairs with legs that were supposed to match the sofa and half chair, this was overlooked and now we must wait for new legs to be reordered. The half chair delivered had one leg that was not screwed in tightly, and had a chip in requiring a service call to have the leg replaced. It is also slightly wobbly and we have had to retighten the leg a few times. Not sure how it constantly becomes wobbly... it has very low use as there are no kids, pets, in house... just me and my wife.
The second lounge chair did not show up upon delivery, and we are still waiting for it to be delivered, (in fact... we were told we received another customer's chair that was the same design and material by accident and that we can keep it... and they will deliver another??? I noticed that the lounge chair arms are a little wobbly, not sure if this is correct, but I doubt it and we will confirm once the second lounge arrives. (Second Service Call?)
Overall, I think the salesperson has done her due diligence in trying to resolve the concerns and issues, however... it falls short on La-Z-Boy overall. This is an operational issue that needs to be addressed. I am not satisfied that my order did not come as ordered, and to some extent DAMAGED! This is really unacceptable considering the money spent on what I was informed as a 'Superior' product in furniture, (Not convinced at all unfortunately). No offer of compensation for inconvenience or aggravation was ever offered. Very poor considering everything. I would not recommend La-Z-Boy to my colleagues and friends.

LA-Z-BOY was great. They delivered and installed when they said they would. We found a small rip in one item and sent a repairman out when scheduled. They were very pleasant to deal with and all staff were very helpful. We would highly recommend them. We bought at the Airdrie location.

Then, I went back and applied it to a different purchase and they were very gracious and helpful in accommodating my needs. Sue, their sales representative, was very generous in making an exception for me to get the order canceled. She was also helpful in choosing the other pieces that were more appropriate now that the circumstances have changed.

The people from La-Z-Boy were very nice and they worked with us. The guys who delivered the furniture took my old furniture out and put it outside for me. However, there's something about the recliners and I need somebody to look at it. I got a couch in my living room that I've had for 20 years, and the cushions of the new recliners don't look like those cushions. I just got them last January and the cushions are tearing out. Also, one leg on the couch was twisted and I never noticed it because I don't look at the legs on the couch, so they're coming out to do that. If I'm not happy then I'm gonna get back to the store in Maryland and have the manager come up and look at it. Other than that, the furniture felt comfortable and I'm very pleased with it.

The recliner chair I sat in at the showroom had a memory foam seat. I ordered the same style chair but when it was delivered I noticed the seat was not nearly as firm as the one in the showroom. They ordered a new seat which will take 4-5 weeks to come in. I was not informed that a new seat had been ordered until I called the warehouse. So far not a good experience.

My husband and I decided to get separate recliners that fit each of us individually. He's 6' 2" and I'm 5' 3". We previously had one recliner that fit his stature and it was too large for me. The staff assisted us and their recommendations were perfect. He has his chair, and I have mine! We took advantage of a 30% off sale and saved a lot of money. The sale associates, the interior decorator and the delivery people were very professional and courteous. The interior decorator Bri came the day that the delivery was done to make sure that everything we talked about would be hung up and in its proper place. The delivery guys went beyond their duties by moving my old furniture to the basement & moving my furniture from basement out. My experience with La-Z-Boy was very positive. Furniture is high quality and is a bit on the high price but hopefully it will last for a long time.

I had a great experience at La-Z-Boy and found the perfect couch. Mark ** was amazingly helpful, going so far as to take apart a 5 piece sectional and put 2 of the pieces back together so that it was the size and style that I was looking for. He helped me pick out the perfect fabrics for the couch and pillows to suit my style. He was so knowledgeable about his product, and was able to answer all of my questions. I would highly recommend La-Z-Boy to a friend, and would also recommend that they go see Mark.

Multiple times to try to fix: The technician was wonderful & continued to work until there was no squeak. The next day, the one rocker did squeak; however, it is a week later and it has not squeaked again. The times before, they continued to squeak after a few days. We are hopeful this time. High marks to the technician who did replace springs in the one rocker & spent time trying to eliminate the noise. We were not happy that with the cost of the rockers & being La-Z-Boy, we had this issue.

We’ve been getting La-Z-Boy for years and we recently bought a power sofa and a loveseat from them. We’ve already got the sofa and the loveseat’s being delivered in a couple of days, but the quality of the sofa is not very well. It's got a mechanical problem and we’ve already got a service person coming out in a couple of weeks to look at it. We’ve had good experience in the past with La-Z-Boy's lifetime warranty, but now we find out it’s not a lifetime warranty anymore so I’m not saying that I would ever go back.

I am writing to put in a concern I have with a couple of leather La-Z-Boy recliners that I purchased in 2013. It has been brought to my attention that under the armrest of both recliners have begun to peel and crumble. This is concerning because both of them are identical and have the same defect. I understand that the time of purchase the recliners were under guarantee for one year, but what is concerning is where the problem is. Everywhere else on the recliners is still in excellent condition. We paid a good price for these recliners and have been very satisfied with the comfort they provide. I would like a representative from the La-Z-Boy company to have a look and let me know why this is happening and what can be done about this problem. I am submitting a copy of my bill of sale and photos of the recliners for proof of the damage happening.

The moment I entered the store, I was greeted warmly by the salesperson, Holly and she absolutely allowed me time to look and then gently steered me to sectionals she thought I might like. No high pressure tactics and I loved that! Even though I had no intention of buying that day, I did book a consultation in home. Holly and Joel arrived exactly on time... another plus and spent time explaining everything from choices to colors to fabric and rug warranties. Needless to say... I purchased. The sofa and rug arrived within 4-5 weeks and the only negative I have is here... the chemical smell of the carpet was overwhelming to the point I could not stay in the room. It took about 10-12 days to dissipate. I wish La-Z-Boy would air it out before delivery... that would be very kind. All in all a stellar experience.

I've already had three La-Z-Boy for 30 years and the quality is very nice. They held up pretty well. The sales representatives were very good and the delivery team was early. I like La-Z-Boy and if this goes bad, I'll get another bed if I'm still alive. I've been very happy.

I purchased this La-Z-Boy recliner (PowerRecline XR) for my husband's 90th birthday. I was very impressed with the service at the store. The saleslady Maria ** was extremely helpful. My husband is perfectly happy with the chair and he says it is the most comfortable chair he has ever had. I hope he buys a similar chair for me when I turn 90!

We received our couch in early December 2016. They had to take the legs off to get it into our living room. When they tried to put the legs back on one of them didn't connect properly. They were apologetic and ensured us that a technical person would come out with them when they delivered the rest of the furniture and he would fix it then. When they delivered the rest two weeks later they said the guy was unavailable but would get in touch with us. It is now February 2017.

After waiting six weeks we were finally notified that our order had been received at the Pensacola Store. This was on 02/11/17. However we were then told that our furniture couldn't be delivered for nearly a month, March 3. I explained to our saleslady Lynda ** that we had our other furniture cleared out to make room for the new furniture and that we were expecting company. She was supposed to try to help us out, but we have never heard back from her. I simply cannot believe it would take that long to get our order from your store to our door.

Love, Love, Love customer service. But the workmanship on the furniture is not good quality. Years ago your recliner would outlast your lifetime. Now I'm not sure if it will last the 5 year warranty. We ordered furniture a few months ago and now it the cushions isn't straight anymore. Repair dept. came out and said it was fine and they can't do anything about it.

This is our first time buying from La-Z-Boy. Everything went well and we upgraded our seat cushions which we are so happy we did for they are extremely comfortable. We did run into inspection problem and loveseat could not be delivered and the coffee table came in damaged but La-Z-Boy was quick with getting our furniture and it was re-delivered the very next weekend. So far we are very happy and love our new living room furniture.

I love the La-Z-Boy recliner. It’s the best recliner ever. The quality is A+ and the cost was good. Their sales rep was nice and had me try out whatever I wanted. I’m pleased that I got it on sale at 30% off. It definitely is expensive, but you get what you pay for.

The La-Z-Boy sales representative was very helpful when we bought our sofa. It was a custom, so she had to help me. We've had our furniture delivered and the guys that brought it were okay. They were careful with the product but were not overly friendly. They just came in, did it and left. I like the quality of my purchases and considering what they are, the cost was fine. My experience with La-Z-Boy has been great. I wouldn't have wanted it differently.

We are very happy with the sectional sofa and side chair that we recently purchased at La-Z-Boy. The sofa has a very modern look and we love the attached cushions. It always looks neat! The only problem is the way the two sections attach together. The plastic pieces simply do not do the job! My husband rigged up a fix, but he does not think it will last. Also, the chair, which we purchased on clearance is a great addition to the sectional. We love our living room!

I had my La-Z-Boy sofa less than one month when the fabric was fraying ("pilling") in several places. Contacted LZB for warranty assistance, sent pictures as requested, and waited 2 weeks for a response. I was told that the salesperson should have told me this would happen (they didn't) and it was my responsibility to buy a fabric shaver and fix it myself. Sorry, but I'm not buying that this is "normal" after 3 weeks! The sofa cushions look terrible. LZB customer service won't help, LZB dealer in Evans, GA, won't help, and the optional UltraShield protection I paid extra for won't cover it. I feel ripped off and helpless. Will never shop La-Z-Boy again. The furniture is no better quality than you can get at a discount store and is overpriced. Customer service support does not exist.

I had the in house design service through the Newport News location. The designer had a great eye for color and design and helped me with options to add more color to my grey main floor. I went in with just an idea on colors that I liked and the team pulled everything together. I LOVE how it all turned out and highly recommend this service and La-Z-Boy products.

I was planning on going to Walker's and look at Heritage, which sells high-end furniture. I was glad that I went to the store because overall, it turned out to be really nice. The first time I went in, I spoke to a really young lady. She was fairly new and I talked to her a little and then I left. When I went back to the store, I talked to an older lady and I really liked her. There wasn't anything bad with the younger lady, but I felt comfortable with the second lady because she knew her product better. She guided me in certain things in the store. I told her about the back surgery that I had and the back surgery that my husband will be having and she explained to me about chairs and sizes and gave suggestion on what I might like.
They had me go home and measure the size of my room so that we could determine what I would buy. I had no intention of buying two chairs, nor plan to buy a table. So after measuring my room, I went back and they drew it out. I was really happy with the fact that two chairs that I like, with the ottomans and the round table, considering the couch, the two end tables that I already had and the size of the small family room. After the design lady drew it out, I got to talk to Debbie, the manager. She was very sweet too. She was the one that told me about the ottomans. The lady that I dealt with behind the desk was very good. She suggested that I get the protection plan on it for 5 years. That was very expensive but we figured that it's like pennies a day for five years.
The only inconvenience that I had was that because the ottomans had to be ordered they will be coming at a later date. I put $1000 on a credit card through La-Z-Boy. The ottomans is another $1000. I thought it would just go to the same account but it didn't. Because of that, I would have had two different payments. I didn't like that. They told me that the ottomans would come in by March. I wouldn't mind that if it came later than that, but they came in February. With my medical expenses from December to January, plus the money I spent for Christmas presents, I wasn't ready to pay for that. I don't understand why they can't add it on to the bill. I would have just borrowed the money on the credit card with no interest.
Overall I really love my Burton chairs and my ottomans. The couch is comfortable and way better than the one I had which I gave away. Considering everything, I really liked my experience and I would and have recommended them.

All around great experience. Although La-Z-Boy was the most expensive, it seems to be very well built and looks fantastic. The sales people were Great and the Delivery Guys were Fantastic. Very clean, polite, efficient. So far so good, let's just hope this expensive sofa and loveseat hold up a long time.

We live in a small duplex and needed more seating in our living room. Our new loveseat with storage console (including device plug ins) was a wonderful solution! It is very comfortable, of good quality, attractive, and stylish. Our needs were taken care of by the local La-Z-Boy sales people, such listening to our needs, then ordering the fabric and color of our choice for our loveseat. Happily, we received our order within a month's time -- and shortly before Christmas! It was our gift to one another in 2016.

A couple of weeks ago we purchased a custom chair and it was delivered yesterday. Within a couple of hours we noticed an odor coming from the chair and it got worse. After reading the disclaimer, it stated not to use this chair if you have poor circulation, and not to use a heating pad either. I called Jessica, the store manager in Rockwall, and tried to explain to her my concerns. All she would say was that she has never heard of such a thing. I have to say this has been one of my worst experiences with a store manager ever. She is very rude and continues to interrupt without listening to the customer's side. I refuse to pay the 25% restocking fee that she said I will have to pay. I will be contacting the CEO on Monday.

Order placed Oct 28, 2016 and partial order delivered on Dec. 16 at my insistence as we had guests and needed the furniture. Final delivery of remaining furniture was made on Feb. 10, 2017. That is unacceptable. I have had good experiences with La-Z-Boy in the past and have always liked the quality of the furniture, but this time the experience was less than perfect.

My La-Z-Boy purchasing experience was very good. I have no complaints. I changed my mind on my pattern and that was not a problem for them when I called it in. They were very good to work with. It's the second La-Z-Boy couch that I purchased and the quality is very good. We had purchased a different type of couch a couple of years ago but it did not hold up compared to La-Z-Boy so I returned to La-Z-Boy's product. I bought the couch in September but we had a 4-month leg move so it was at their warehouse until January and they were also very good about that.

My Cooper sofa power spot is perfect. Eldorado chair has gorgeous leather finish too. The frame was damaged on arrival. The arm was replaced and is great. Staff at Flamingo Store (Las Vegas) was fantastic. Having sold furniture for 50 years/design as well. I am more than impressed with service & taste level.

They have terrible customer service. My fiancé and I purchased a couch from La-Z-Boy which was delivered in September of 2015. By November of 2016 the entire bottom framework had come apart, the wooden pieces on two sections split in half, and it made an awful noise whenever you sat on it. Because we were 2 months past the warranty, we had to pay for the tech to come to our house to fix it. The tech is normally paid ~$100 an hour, however they waived the hourly rate and only charged us the initial fee to have someone come to your home rather than bring your furniture to a factory. The tech commented throughout his 2.5 hour repair that it was something he had only seen once before being in the business for 30 years, and assured us that he was going above and beyond to strengthen and repair the structure of the couch.
We did not doubt him, he took his time and explained what he was doing throughout the repair. He also commented how the repair was so extensive that they typically would not even attempt it in a home, that it should have been brought into the factory to fix. La-Z-Boy does not help you get your furniture to the factory, and we do not have a truck to bring it there and would not spend more money renting one, and taking time off from work and school to get it there.
Well, one month later our couch is broken again. We are two very athletic, normally sized human beings who sit on the couch not too long each day (many days I don't even sit on it, while my fiancé might in the evening watching tv). We have not taken it apart yet (as we did the first time) but it is making the same noises when we sit on it as it did pre-fixing. We are VERY disappointed that such an expensive piece of furniture is of such poor quality, and to top it off the customer service we've received thus far has been frustrating to say the least. I cringe at the thought of having to go through the process again, and become angry when I consider having to pay MORE money for another repair. While some of the representatives we spoke with on the phone were friendly and apologetic, a few were just plain rude.
We selected La-Z-Boy because we thought it was a quality brand, and we did not want to get a cheap quality couch and have to replace it in a few years. However, our IKEA furniture has so far held up much better than this couch, and that furniture was a fraction of the cost. We are very very disappointed, and will never use this company again. At this rate, we could have purchased 3 middle end couches for the amount we've put into this one couch.

Very dissatisfied with the Eldorado high leg recliner. It does not meet our expectations. It shows signs of wear where you sit. The filling in the seat has collapsed and wrinkled. Very uncomfortable on your legs. I have gone through your process of calling Customer Care Support and a Technician came out to the house to look at it. He says it meets the spec but he told us we could order foam to have put in it, but Customer Care called back and said that we could not do that but they said they would send the foam and we would have to have the foam put it in ourselves then the warranty is null and void. For having purchased the recliner for that amount of money does not seem like a good solution to me. If you could refund the money or take the recliner back since it is uncomfortable that would work or pay the amount to have it reupholstered with the new foam I would appreciate it.

Very pleased with both sofa and lounger. I feel the arms on the couch ahold have more padding because you can feel the frame under it so it will be a wear area. We had pillows made and paid extra and the pillow insert is too small so I was a bit disappointed in that. I sew and could have done a better job.

The rep I talked to on the phone was the first to recognize that I was a repeat customer (oh wow, you have a lot of La-Z-Boy products)! The way she said it, made me feel appreciated as a customer. Easy to schedule the repair, I was able to get a Saturday appt., and the repair guy came on time, and repaired in a quick manner. Only suggestion is to either get local numbers, or have the caller ID come up as La-Z-Boy, I almost didn't answer as I'm in OH and the cell was TX.

Chocolate brown leather recliners. They are 4 years old and look like new. They recline fully and are just as comfy and supportive as the day we bought them. Our sales woman was a perfect fit. She showed us directly to a selection that was appropriate and never tried to upsell us. If they ever wear out, we will go back.

This recliner was delivered mid Sept. About 60-90 days later my husband called to report extreme discomfort to pain associated with sitting in the chair. His back hurts and his legs cramp and become numb whenever he uses this chair that cost us about $1000.00. The company will not let us return the chair, we have been reporting problems for months now. They sent someone out to look at it and they ordered some stuffing material that just came today, February 8, 2017. We don't want this chair because he can't use it. This is very poor customer service. My next report is to the Better Business Bureau. Next will be to the credit card company because they are willing to deal with your company to help us return this chair.
Finally, after having purchased a sofa, love seat and a different recliner from La-Z-Boy in the past 18 years, we will never do business with La-Z-Boy again. I am making sure everyone I know will hear of this experience. Your office just the other day told my husband they would take 200.00 off the bill and credit our credit card company. We want the chair returned for a full refund. That is the only acceptable solution. There is no compromise, he experiences pain when sitting in it. I'll say it again because no one we have spoken with understands, there is no compromise. Please take the chair back and refund 100% of our cost.
