    First off, we were very happy with the service provided by the designer at the Cranberry, PA location and love the look and style of all the pieces we choose. The problems began with our request to replace a decorative chair that was not correctly made. The fabric was not stretched over the frame properly and there was rolls of extra material in the front and on the back of the chair. When the service contractor finally decided to return our call he had us take a picture and said the chair would be replaced. Fine. But no follow up phone to let us know if the photo was received. No phone call from anyone at La-Z-Boy to let us know that the chair would indeed be replaced, no confirmation, no confirmation number and no estimated date as to when we could expect the replacement. Okay, once again, fine. We would simply wait, no problem.

    Three days ago we discovered that the two ottomans had seams splitting near the buttons on top. Phone calls were made both to the store in Cranberry and to customer service. I explained that I was concerned about the quality of workmen-ship, the lack of service and the poor customer service. Both locations apologized profusely and promised returned phone calls.

    As of now we have not heard from anyone! And to top it all off, last night my husband discovered that one of the seams on the sectional is coming apart also! Needless to say we are very concerned over the quality of the very expensive furniture we purchased. This furniture is less than 2 months old. There is only the two of us living here and although the grandchildren do visit there is no abuse of the furniture at all.

    With the indifference of customer service and the short time span where there are issues with the furniture we are really concerned about how well this furniture will hold up. We have had furniture for over ten years that 3 active boys have jumped on, slept on and used and abused as growing boys will with no problems like this. Once again we love the style and look and appreciate the work the designer put in but do not understand how a company as large as La-Z-Boy neglects their customers. We can get support and emails from such companies as Amazon about a set of $10 lights and you can't even take care of a several thousand dollar purchase!

    Bought 5 items. Bill says 8 - 10 weeks for delivery. At 12.5 weeks three items arrived one of which was wrong color (bright red with large puckers in the arm cloth, we ordered teal blue) which was reordered. One chair we thought would rock and swivel only rocked and had puckers in the fabric. At 17 weeks, two more items arrived. The chair that was powered was supposed to be steady with legs. It rocked. At 25 weeks we had had enough. Made a phone call and asked to remove it all and give us our money back. Suddenly the final piece was 'found' and delivery was promised, along with a tech to fix the one chair and some cash back. Had a yelling match on the phone with one of the store owners, dealt with a salesman who really wasn't listening and a production crew that could not box things correctly or sew a straight seam. Totally disgusted.

    Our purchasing experience with La-Z-Boy was very nice and the salesperson, Loren, was very knowledgeable and fabulous. She designed the rooms that we bought the furniture for and gave us suggestions for repainting the walls and how to rearrange things. We really love the furniture. Although the counter chairs, which look nice, doesn't have much quality in them. We had all 5 of them for a few days and 3 of them literally came out. It turned out the screws underneath the seat that hold them together was never tightened.

    La-Z-Boy sent somebody out to put the chairs back together and tighten the remaining two but he could not get them to level on the floor. He reported that and they came back and gave us two other chairs but they still rock back. My wife was suggesting it could be the floor but I've put them in different places on the tile floor and they still rock. It doesn't make any difference where I put them on the floor. Nonetheless, everything else seems to be great. We bought a lot of furniture and we are enjoying them.

    We ordered our furniture from the Kelowna La-Z-Boy store in December. While we were waiting for our furniture to arrive we stopped by the Kamloops La-Z-Boy store and found out we could have saved a lot of money at the Kamloops store. We called the Kelowna store to ask why the big difference in price. They told us the reason why was because they have a technician on staff and have better after sales service and the Kamloops store has to contract out any service problems.

    A few weeks later our furniture arrived (Feb14/17). We noticed some problems with the padding on one of the swivel recliner rockers. We called the Kelowna store and they sent out someone to check out our concern. She agreed that there were padding problems with the chair and they would pick up the chair and have it fixed. It is now April 14/ 17 and nothing has been done, no calls, no emails, nothing. This is what they call good after sales service. I would NOT recommend the Kelowna La-Z-Boy store and I would suggest taking a trip to the Kamloops store and saving lots of money.

    My wife and I have placed three separate, multiple piece orders at this store over the past four years or so. In three orders, the store has delivered damaged products four times and has yet to redeliver the latest. The first time, we had not noticed that a chair was damaged until about three minutes (literally) after the truck had left. We called immediately and were told that we had accepted it as is, and we would have to wait for a repair technician to be available. It was over 10 days that we had a brand new leather chair sitting in our home that we had to warn guests to stay off.

    The second time, they delivered a chair that was so damaged that it wouldn't open. We refused delivery and it was about two weeks later that another badly damaged chair was delivered. It was two weeks after that that we finally got our chair. This most recent time, a chair was delivered with foot that was broken off. We refused it and spoke to a manager who promised he would see that this was handled promptly and would return our call within one business day, or two at the most. That was three days ago.

    When I called the store, I asked for a manager and was put on hold for 5 minutes. I called back and explained why I was calling. I was told that the manager was in a meeting and the person who answered would make sure they got a message and do what he could to get this resolved quickly. That was over an hour ago. You might ask why we would have gone back. We like the look and comfort and our salesperson. However, that person can only be as good as the company she represents, and I have spent my last dime with La-Z-Boy.

    I recently replaced the recliner that I've had for 24 years with another La-Z-Boy. The interactions with the sales rep were fine. She did everything she could for me. The delivery crew was also great and very friendly. They showed up early, came in, and got the chair set up. They made sure I had everything I needed before they left and helped me haul out my old chair. However, I am not so happy with my new chair. The last one was more of a leather chair and I sat in it from day one and it felt really good. This one is a different fabric and it's got over-stuffing. It does not sit nearly as well. I'm not enjoying it at all.

    I am writing this letter as we are very upset with the couch we purchased at La-z-Boy and the tactics that were used to sell it to us. We were sold the couch at the Hilliard, Ohio location located at 3687 Park Mill Run Drive on 4/26/2014 by a sales associate that I will not name publicly. The item was on clearance ($200 off of $1,200) due to discontinuation of the fabric as it was defective (it fell apart is what we were told). To assure us there would be no problems, the sales associates insisted we purchase the Ultra Shield Protection Plan for 5 years in case there were any issues with the fabric, as it would be replaced and repaired at no cost, which we did. The fabric on the couch has since started fraying and literally falling apart, just like we were told. We called Ultra Shield to report the issue and to get it repaired and were told, "Fabric issues are not covered as this is a manufacturer defect."

    So basically we were sold a couch under false pretenses, with the salesperson stating that the warranty would cover any such issues with the fabric if purchased so we did not worry about it. We spent $1,000 on a couch that basically is only purpose now will be to be thrown out, and we’re up sold an additional $180 for a warranty that was garbage.

    I would like someone to contact me regarding this issue, as this needs to be made right. The couch either needs re-upholstered, we need to be given a replacement or a refund needs offered as this is ridiculous. The couch looks this bad in less than three years. La-z-Boy needs to be responsible for the claims their sales associates made regarding the warranty to sell this couch as we would not have purchased it knowing it was going to fall apart and be worthless before long. We also would not have purchased an extended warranty that did not cover the known defect of the fabric if we were not told "it would cover any issues".

    Either the sales associate knew the warranty would not cover the issue and just wanted to sell the couch to get it out of the store. The sales associate did not know the warranty would not cover the issues with the fabric due to lack of education of the products they offer by the company. Either way, the couch made was extremely poor quality and La-z-Boy is at fault.

    I love my sofa. Your fee of $39 to have it shipped to your store in Saugus was a necessary evil because I did like the sofa very much but I was the one who found 2 guys with a pick-up truck to get it at your store and bring it to my residence. Not sure why the $39 charge. Also, had to call your customer service center in order to get in touch with the store to let them know I would be there to pick up the sofa. Your Customer Service couldn't reach them either and I had to drive there to let them know when a simple phone call should have sufficed. Neither issue is major but I wouldn't classify my experience as the best.

    I purchased the sectional from a La-Z-Boy store 3 years ago. As you can see by the image, the leather began to crack and peel and has gotten progressively worse. This started approximately 1 year ago. We are a retired couple and there is no excessive wear and tear nor abuse on the furniture. This was not expected with the age of this furniture, especially being leather material. I assumed the La-Z-Boy company having been a reputable company for many, many years, would stand by their products. This has not been the case. Upon contact with a La-Z-Boy representative, I was offered only a 15% discount for replacement of the defective area. Needless to say, I am very disappointed. After seeing these reviews, apparently this is a common issue. I cannot recommend La-Z-Boy to anyone based on my experience.

    I cannot rate you at the moment because I am not happy with my furniture. I ordered a sofa and the matching dual recliners that are connected by the centerpiece. When delivered one of the chairs was not connected to the centerpiece. The back of the chair would lean all of the way back with you. Had to call them to come back and connect the chair and fix the back. They took a piece off of the sofa to fix the chair. The chair is still not working correctly, the back of the chair now will not straighten back up once reclined. I talked to them on 4/3/17 they were going to talk with their person who fixes chairs and call me back the next day. I have not heard from them and today is 4/10/17. I am to the point to where they can come pick up all of the furniture and refund my money. Not happy.

    We just received delivery of our sofa and chair 1/2, and they are just as we hoped in terms of quality, fabric and color. They were delivered as promised and on time.     I really liked the look of the La-Z-Boy recliners that a friend of mine had purchased to go along with some Ethan Allen furniture she had. And Brooke Shields is advertising La-Z-Boy so I went there. I wanted a new sofa and to replace a loveseat with two chairs. So I went into the store and told them that I was kind of a blank slate. Other than I knew that I wanted those three central upholstered pieces. The sales reps started getting a feel for what colors and styles that I like. I went for the fletcher chairs, which are not like the Archie Bunker recliner.

    They saw that I was really trying to build the whole room, so they led me to talk to the designer, Jonathan. He came out, did measurements, and then gave a computer image of how it would look in the house. So I could see how it would all pull together and from different viewpoints in the room. It's free service, and if you buy the stuff, they'll give you an extra discount because you used the designer. Jonathan really helped us pull a whole lovely ensemble together. I had selected some fabrics in the store for the sofa and chair. I picked something dark for the sofa, and a lighter color with a pattern for the chair. Jonathan brought samples to the house, so we were able to stay in the same color grouping. And I never would have thought to buy the rug without him. We're expecting the furniture to be delivered on the first week of May. But so far, they did a nice job.

    We had purchased a new couch and love seat and received delivery not even three months ago. After the second month we noticed that several of the cushion seats the material is pilling. When we picked the material we had asked the salesperson about the quality of the material and was assured it was of the most top quality and guaranteed. In speaking about the issue with others, we understand that pilling may occur but not this soon. We brought a cushion back to the store of purchase and were told that pilling is not covered under warranty and there is nothing they could do and showed us the product warranty coverage sheet that in small print says pilling not covered.

    They recommended we contact La-Z-Boy head office, but we don't see the point as this policy seems clears. Very disappointing to spend $4,000 on a couch and love seat and after two moths see this happen. This material should not be sold. A company that is not willing to stand behind their product will not get any more of my business.

    If I could give a zero star, I would for La-Z-Boy Furniture. I purchased a set of couches with one reclining armchair. I used it only for one year, and the leg support doesn't fold down. I called the company and thought they had lifetime warranty as promised by the salesman. I was told that they would charge me $100 to pick it up and $100 an hour for the labor to fix it. So the only warranty is parts. I know it needs only one plastic part to fix it. Also, the mechanism should all be metal instead of one key part in plastic. I feel the $4,300 furniture is not well-made. So I need to tell other buyers. Be aware!

    I had stopped in at the La-Z-Boy in Lake Zurich because it’s closer. I didn’t like how the person that I was asking questions to responded to me so I ended up going to the La-Z-Boy in Algonquin. I told the lady that we talked to there what I was looking for, what I wanted, what I didn’t want. She was very helpful and then had the lady come out to the house and just clarified what I was already thinking but I wanted a second opinion.

    Then when the delivery team was trying to get the couch in the front door, which I understand was a little tricky, they kept trying to shove the couch that it was going into my wood closet doors. They were courteous but they should have come up with a better solution or they should have come in a different door. Also, La-Z-Boy is coming out tomorrow because they put the wrong high base on the wrong chair which is my chair and I’m only 5 feet, so it’s not very comfortable. So far, I love it. I’m very satisfied and pleased with my experience with them. La-Z-Boy costs a little bit more than if you went to just any store, but you have to pay more to get better quality.

    We have moved into a continuing care facility and into an apartment. And for the second bedroom, we had a double bed and we decided that we didn’t use the bed that much for guests so that we decided to get a sleep sofa. We have already gotten a sofa somewhere else and I needed to get two chairs and I found them at La-Z-Boys. The ones that I picked out were good. The sales representatives explained to me the sale that they were having. They then delivered it. We like it very much and worth the money. It was overall, a good experience.

    I've been ripped off. I purchase 2 full power, reclining loveseats in Oct. 2015 at a price of $2800. This was after searching for over a year for the perfect style to fit my needs. Well I was sold on the new Renew fabric that was "supposed to be better than leather because it doesn't show scratches, doesn't stain, doesn't dry out and weather, etc." Well a little over a year later, it looks like I've had my loveseats for 5 years. There are worn spots everywhere, just where I put my elbow on the armrest is worn, where a person's butt hits the cushion is worn, it's terrible. Doesn't stain?!? Right, I spilled hot tea & it practically bleached a spot.

    After contacting La-Z-Boy with my concerns, which I did very nicely, I was told to submit pictures and they would send them to higher-ups for review & to come up with a resolution. I submitted the pictures. A month later I'm told that my "abnormal" use of the furniture has caused these damages to the fabric. I'm sorry I didn't know I wasn't actually supposed to sit on the furniture, I was supposed to admire it from afar. Anyway 18 months later & $2800 I feel deceived and ripped off. The La-Z-Boy website says how they focus on quality, value, standards, etc. Again, this is just another company spewing a line of crap that they really don't stand behind. I will never recommend or buy their furniture again.

    If you're shopping for furniture, take my advice and avoid La-Z-Boy. Horrible (but expensive) product and atrocious customer service. I bought an electric recliner for $950 in June of 2015. It crapped out on April 7, 2017. It didn't last 2 years. La-Z-Boy wants $109 to come look at it. The "motor" was covered, but not parts and labor. They also wanted me to pay TODAY and they would come check it out in 2 MONTHS, on June 16, 2017.

    I expected a high-quality product and excellent customer service when dealing with this company, considering their reputation. This is definitely not what I got. The customer service representatives were condescending. Paying now for a service appointment 2 months in the future is just plain silly and here I sit in a broken chair. I'm beyond disappointed. I'd rather pay a local furniture guy than drop another cent at La-Z-Boy. This chair was my first and is my LAST La-Z-Boy - pure garbage!

    In March 2015, I purchased a Rowan Reclina-Way Reclining Sofa and Recliner w/ Ultra Shield 5 Yr. Protection Plan. Am a widow, live by myself, I sit on right side of sofa. Other side/recliner sit on very little. A couple of weeks ago noticed some "splits, tearing, holes" in the side of the recliner. More on other parts of couch. Contacted store, was to told to contact Ultra Shield. Ultra Shield told me that it was not covered but IF I had caused the damage or accidentally caused it would be covered.

    Called store back and said it's too far outside of warranty but they can get someone to come repair it for up to $109 an hour and I would have to pay for labor and leather. I paid $3,904.96 (including a table $359) and thought this would be the last sofa I would ever purchase. But, now I'm stuck with a defective sofa which is not my fault. I tried to be honest and all I wanted was to get the sofa replaced/repaired. I will never purchase another La-Z-Boy product and will caution everyone I know about purchasing your products.     In all fairness I'd give 5 stars to our sales person/store manager Kim and 5 stars to our designer Rachael, maybe 2 1/2 stars to Steven who had to deal with my rant. Steven did give us free shipping for our inconvenience when the fabric for the recliner was backordered until mid-May, but saw no reason to compensate for a second delay until mid-June. The recliner was ordered January 27! Kim gave us an additional 10% off the chair. La-Z-Boy gets the 2 stars for not being able to keep a better tab on the fabric in stock.

    I had to call on the 7th week to be told, I fell thru the cracks because no one had called to tell me our sofa had been in the store for two weeks and there was no date for delivery of the recliner. Selecting another fabric was not an option, and originally would have taken the same amount of time. When the fabric was pushed back to mid-June, I tried very hard to find another fabric but kept going back to the backordered performance fabric that we ordered. Disappointed with La-Z-Boy. My husband wants no other chair and no other fabric, so we will wait.

    Don't buy the extended Warranty. It's worthless and won't fix a thing. I bought a similar chair to this 2 years ago. Spent the extra money to get quality and the added warranties. I'd have been better off flushing the money down a toilet. Their chair didn't last a long as the one I got from Big Lots and cost 3 times as much. You didn't honor the extended warranty and fix the chair. Even the Frisco Store Manager told me that he thought the extended warranty would fix the chair. You might as well have stolen the money from me. Oh wait! You did. Your extended warranties are a joke and fix nothing. I'll never buy anything from La-Z-Boy again. Neither will my family or anyone I get a chance to talk to.

    The chair (1HR519 C137166 FN 007) selected was to aid in spinal problems. So far it has achieved all expectations. I had a problem after the second day, which was corrected within 48 hours. Splendid response. One area that was not covered was the battery back-up for the chair if a power failure occurred. This was explained when I asked what the box by the plug was for! For a 1400 dollar purchase two batteries should be provided.

    I bought a "top grain leather" electric recliner the first of last June, 2016 that has adjustable headrest, lumbar and foot all independent of each other. The recliner was not delivered until Just before July 4th. At first the recliner felt very stiff and hard. I called the store right away and expressed my concern saying that if this was the way it was going to be I wanted to return it for a refund. I was told to give it some time, that it needed to "break in". I gave it time and the longer it went I found the padding in the footrest to be very thin, felt and feels like you are putting your heel and/or foot on the edge of a sharp/hard board. The lumbar assembly feels like it is poking me in my back even when not engaged. The headrest is not padded well and the hard assembly is like putting my head on a brick. The wood frame squeaked loudly whenever you moved or moved the electric chair.

    I called comfort care and they said they'd send out a tech to look at repairing the recliner. It was 2 weeks before he could come and when I scheduled the "appointment" they could not even set a morning or afternoon. I was told the tech would call the night before to give me a time frame when he would be here. So, I had to keep the entire day open until the night before. He came to diagnose the problems and had to order parts. Parts came in a couple weeks and I had to wait another 2 weeks for him to come and do the repair with the large repair items he ordered sitting in my living room. He came and put additional padding in chair, sprayed some lube on bottom of recliner and it seemed better.

    A while later it began to go back to what it had been before except now the seat had began to sag, making the leather at about the knee area bunch up making the chair unusable. The squeak in the frame got worse and now added a loud popping sound. When reclined the back, instead of being solid, moves up and down 8-10 inches. Also the "premium top grain leather" in the seat has begun to peel at the raised seams. I called comfort care again and they said they would send out a tech again.

    Again, 2 weeks wait and he came out. Yes, again, to diagnose the issues. He wrote report saying there was so much wrong they might not repair it. He said he'd send in report and comfort care would call me in a few days. No Call. 2 weeks later I received 2 large packages from La-z-boy on my front porch. I called comfort care and after over 20 minutes on hold I spoke to a lady who said I needed to talk to someone higher up. 20 plus minutes more on hold I get another general customer care person who said I didn't need to talk to anyone else. Just set up appt for the tech to return for repairs. Oh no, there's a second shipment coming that has not been shipped yet so I have to wait longer than 2 weeks this time for more parts.

    I have repeatedly asked for my money back and have been told no every time. I filed a complaint with Synchrony Bank who financed it saying I wanted a refund and that the recliner hasn't been right since it was delivered. No one is going to do anything until they fix it again. I called the store manager where I bought it and all he said he'd do is have comfort care call me - that he did not have anything to do with this even though I went to the AVON, INDIANA store to buy it. I did tell him if I did not get satisfaction before the warranty runs out the first part of July 2017 that I would start a social media campaign to boycott La-z-boy due to poor quality products. Numerous times I have stated that if I had paid only $300-$400 for a recliner I wouldn't be complaining. I paid just shy of $1,800.00 for this recliner. I paid more to buy a La-z-boy brand recliner because I had bought this brand before and had quality furniture.

    This piece I bought is not quality. The frame is made out of OSB board (Chip Board as it is referred to in the construction trades). It is not made of solid hardwood or even plywood. This is why it is popping and squeaking. I believe in buying a high quality product whether it is an appliance, dinner out, vehicle or furniture. I've always been told that buying the best usually means that it will last longer and you'll save money in the long run. I thought that is what I was doing here. I was so wrong. I am not in good health and this situation has caused a great deal of stress and had a negative effect on my health. I can not even sit in the recliner and have not been able to use it for at least 6-8 weeks of the time I've had it due to problems with it.

    The repair tech is very nice and seems to know his stuff very well. He doesn't make the decisions on what is done and has told me so several times. I wish I had not bought this recliner. I wish I could get a refund and just go back and buy a regular standard recliner that would last a few years and then I'd buy another one. I replaced a La-z-boy recliner I bought about 10 years ago with this one. I even told the sales lady that since I was paying nearly 1800 that hopefully this new one would last close to 20 years. She said it certainly should. Boy, we were both wrong.

    I think all La-z-boy is doing is trying to do the bare minimum to fix things until the 1 year warranty is up then it's on me. I hate that I feel this way but no one other than the repair tech has seemed even slightly sorry for the problems I've been having. It is like they have a script and that is the way it is no matter what. They've told me several times that they never give a refund, ever. They only repair the product, period. They will repair and repair until the warranty is up and then it is the buyer's problem.

    I really do not understand all this. I'm an easy going guy who, until I retired, owned my own construction company. I know how things are put together and such. I sure wish I had turned the recliner over in the store and looked at the underneath side to see how it was made, I would never have bought it if I'd had seen the OSB or Chip board. I did not do this because it was La-z-boy... and I'd bought la-z-boy before and it had always been good furniture. I suppose even La-z-boy could change the way things are made to a cheaper method and products even though I never thought that would happen. I'm thinking that "let the buyer beware" really makes sense in this case where the buyer has no recourse when they buy a product from La-z-boy except to pay them, let them fix it over and over until the warranty was up.

    If I did a job and the customer was not happy I made every effort to make sure I made things right. And, yes, there were a couple of times I refunded the customer's money or at least enough of it to make the customer KNOW that I really did care about them, the quality of their job and that I wanted to continue to do business with them. I do not think La-z-boy thinks that way. This is a shame. I agreed to have the recliner repaired the first time but now, they are repairing some of the same things again a few months later along with more items. Doing the same thing over and over hoping for a different outcome is the definition of insanity. That is, unless you are trying to cross that 1 year guarantee finish line.

    If they would just refund my money I'd go back to their store and buy a less expensive recliner, knowing that I'll have to buy another in a few years as I've always done. If that doesn't happen and the repairs don't fix it or hold up more than a few months I'll never buy another La-z-boy product again. I have a good friend who I took in the store right after first repair and introduced to Patrice, my saleslady. My friend looked at a few things and had been going to totally redo her living room with all new furniture. She was going to custom order leather reclining sofa and a couple chairs with tables, lamps, decor to do a new look. This lady has the money to do this and redoes her place every 3-4 years. She was also going to get a new room size area rug. She is waiting to do this to see how I am treated by La-z-boy. If they make me happy she is going to buy from there. If not she will be going to Kittles.

    If I were to tell her (I haven't) how the store manager dealt with me today on the phone she would immediately decide against La-z-boy. I would guess her purchases would be in the area of 6-8 thousand dollars and that doesn't count the dining room she is tired of. So, we shall see how things work out, so far I'm not encouraged. I was excited to get one of these new style recliners, thinking it would be comfortable to relax at home in and watch TV. Now all it is is a stress factor.

    Unfortunately, sitting in my living room, I have to see it regularly and it reminds me what a bad choice I made dealing with a company that has such low regard for its clients. I do not have my receipt handy but I bought this recliner from LA-Z-BOY IN AVON, INDIANA ON US36. Patrice was my sales lady. Their store number is 317-906-5555. TRUST ME, I AM A BUYER... A VERY DISSATISFIED ONE AT THAT.

    4/5/2013 1:00:11 AM - April 2, 2009 we purchased leather sofa LF863578 and received it a month later. April 2011 I reported that the color was coming off of the back where our heads rest. The warranty company refused to repair/replace the leather. I contacted La-Z-Boy and later heard from Michelle at our local store on the Katy freeway. She replaced the entire back of the recliner. April 2013 I noticed the color is not only coming off of the back but also the foot rest where it hits the couch; where my legs rest. I emailed Michelle but she never replied.

    In March of this year the armrest started to look and feel like an alligator. Upon a closer look the leather (is it really leather?) was cracking. Like all my other leather furniture, and leather coverings in my vehicles, it was cleaned and treated. My other furniture was purchased in 1995 from a local furniture store and has not fallen apart or lost any color like this couch. Same with my leather interiors which also contend with the elements. Such poor quality! I demand you replace this sofa!

    La-Z-Boy was great. Everybody at the store was wonderful and the delivery was great. The chairs not exactly fitting correctly but everything else is okay. It’s hard to tell when you sit in the chair for five minutes in the store. And then when I get home, my feet don’t touch the floor and it’s a little bit further away from the back to the knees so maybe its not a good chair after all but it’s a very comfortable chair.     The recliner which costs $568.98 before tax came with very poor workmanship and quality. The repair person has been out once. Now they have sent a whole new bottom to the chair and we have to wait 3 weeks for them to come "fix it" again. I don't even know if what they sent is the correct part. This is a chair they stick not a special order, so why not replace the chair? And I paid for fabric guard, how will I know if this new piece has been protected? I leave messages without return calls. Poor customer service after the sale!

    We have always purchased La-Z-Boy recliners and have had good luck. Moving to our condo we purchased two in Oct. 2016. We used them a total of one month as we then left to spend the winter in Florida. My complaint is when you release the lever it makes a bang sound unless you put your foot on the floor to guide it down. My husband isn't able to do such a thing. But I can't understand why this happens. It has never done it with your previous recliners. Please advise if we are doing something wrong. Thanks.

We purchased a chair (pinnacle power recliner) for my sister who was given the diagnosis of breast cancer and not long to live (she has since passed). We needed something small, safe, in stock, and that the nurses could adjust as her needs changed.     FYI, if you decided to spend more than $1500 on a La-Z-Boy chair that they have to order because they don't have any in stock, sit in it for at least a couple of hours to make sure you love it, because their return policy is THREE days AND a 30% restocking fee. Seriously? It costs you $500 to restock the chair? Also, don't sign anything you haven't read closely. Better yet, don't shop at a store that has policies like this.

    We have an extra flow over room for the kids so we purchased a sectional and some recliners from La-Z-Boy. Daly was fantastic, knowledgeable, friendly, easy to get a hold of, great ideas and she made everything very easy as far as being comfortable with what you bought and giving you suggestions. What I started with wanting and what I ended up with were totally different for the better. The home delivery was on-time and they put felt pads on everything. However it’s a little awkward sitting on the couch in my living room. You feel like you’re gonna slide off of it but for the kids, it’s fine. They’re a little over-sized but the chairs are comfortable. It’s a little on the upper-end but quality-wise it’s okay.

    My store experience was great. My sales person was outstanding and the whole experience from first coming in thru the time I picked up my chair was wonderful.

    I felt the recline I got felt great in the store and "hit" me just right in all the right places. But after a few days of spending time in the chair I began to have hip, knee, and foot problems. I went to the chiropractor and got fixed up and dang if it all didn't happen again. I went to the chiropractor again and fixed up. But this time I decided to not sit in my new La-Z-Boy chair but a different chair. I spent plenty of time in the old chair and was fine. A couple of weeks later I went back to try my new La-Z-Boy chair and darned if I didn't get the bad hip, knee and foot problems again.

    I did this a couple of times switching back and forth from my old chair to new chair. And each time I used the new chair I ended up hurting so badly I could hardly walk. So, I am not impressed with this chair AT ALL. I now have it set in a corner where I hope no one ever uses it. I would try to resell it but could not in good conscience do that to someone else. I feel that this purchase was a very poor decision on my part. Being on a rather fixed income I can't afford to just junk it and go get something else. I had planned on getting a matching set of the new chair after I tried it out and saw that it was good. But now, I am thinking I will have to go elsewhere to find a decent chair, at least one that doesn't end up hurting me!

    No one called us to tell us the order was ready for delivery and when they did call about payment said we could only pay by credit card over the phone. We ordered two lamps and were told we could pick them up ourselves since they didn't deliver lamps. We had one lampshade sent to the house not two and no lamps. We are still trying to get the lamps but keep getting the runaround. We were told they never deliver lamps, someone would get them to us and back to we should pick them up.

    We spent $8000 at your store and no one is willing to correct the problem. Only tell us why it isn't their problem and we should have picked up the lamps. We are at the point where you can keep your lamps and return the money we spent on them. We have never dealt with so many people not willing to correct their own problem. We have no intention of dealing with La-Z-Boy again for furniture. We don't like being told that we are responsible for getting your lamps to our house. On delivery the guys were surprised they had to move the old furniture out of the house.

    During the time of delivery, discovered control units were not secured to sides. After delivery left, immediately found cushion on 90 degree piece was defective.     I worked at La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries (Showcase Shoppes) in Niles and Boardman Ohio for 22 years. I know the Reclina-Rocker is the best chair in the world.

    My experience with this purchase was excellent. I knew and worked with David **, who sold me my chair. Because I love the product, I did not look at any competitors.

    I was very disappointed with pick up and delivery process. I was quoted an extra fee over $100 to deliver to my home. Since I have loaded chairs into customers cars hundreds of times, I chose to pick up the chair. I WAS STILL CHARGED APPROXIMATELY $35 TO BRING IT TO YOUNGSTOWN FROM A COLUMBUS WAREHOUSE TO PICK IT UP MYSELF. It is like buying a new car, and being told tires are extra and if you want them mounted, that's extra too. And the last impression I have of the purchase experience, is me (63 years old) carrying the chair to my car myself with no offer of any assistance from the employee. Ron ** the former La-Z-Boy dealer that I worked for, would have never adopted a policy like that, nor would he ever treat a customer like that. To sum up, love the chair, beautiful store, great salesperson. Very poor product delivery/pick up experience.

    I was looking for a chair and my friend and I stopped at La-Z-Boy. I liked their product and I made my first purchase from them which was a power recliner with a heater and a vibrator. The girl who talked to us was very nice and helpful. They ones who delivered the chair were nice too and they moved my old chair out of the way and put this one. This one is a cloth fabric chair and it was sprayed with something to keep it from staining. I like it really well and I still put arm things on it, but I'm afraid the seat part is going to get wrinkly before I wear it out. Otherwise, this electric chair is very comfortable and it fits me a lot better compared to a chair I had 'cause that one was hard to get in and out of. I've told different people they have to go to La-Z-Boy because they have a lot of nice furniture.

    I purchased this expensive chair thinking I was getting top quality. Sadly that is not the case. It has broken twice since the purchase and each time the same problem. When you pull the handle to recline/raise footrest the handle will not move. Last time it took a total of 45 days to get the problem resolved after having the chair for only 18 months and I had to pay to have it fixed. It has now broken again and it is the same exact problem! The mechanism inside the chair that the handle works is broken. This has to be some sort of defect in this chair. Does this mean that I will have to pay to have this chair fixed every 18 months for the life of the chair? I am having a very serious double back surgery the beginning of May and need to have a chair by then! I spoke to Nelly today who is going to do her best to resolve this. I hope so!

    We received good service from Suzie **, however we are disappointed in the chair which we paid $1700 for. It was purchased primarily for my husband, however it wasn't for his use only. Suzie came to the house to see what the problem was and offered to exchange the chair for us but the restocking fee was $725 which I find ridiculous. We are going to give it time to break in to see if the headrest gets any more comfortable. Overall, we are disappointed with the chair, I expected more comfort from a La-Z-Boy.

Spent $1,000 more but have order arriving 4 days after order date with free shipping. Have a friend that has struggled for months to get La-Z-Boy to honor their lifetime fabric warranty and are now waiting for their replacement. When the custom-ordered fabric started to fray after 2 years they were told to purchase a fabric electric razor and trim the entire couch - hard to believe. Don't waste YOUR time with La-Z-Boy!

    The above star rating is inconclusive as there are 2 different issues. We bought 2 La-Z-Boy power recline away chairs and a sofa sleeper in Ocoee, FL. for our RV. The sales staff was great, delivery exactly on time and the delivery men were very careful to avoid any damage. (They would rate 5 stars.) The furniture looks great, but... after 5 days I could barely sit in the recliner any longer. It was the most uncomfortable chair I had ever sat in. The headrest pushed my head forward and the seat felt like I was sitting in a hole. It just "didn't fit" (0 stars).

    I phoned the store but it was after the 3 day return policy and I was told the store manager would return my call after the weekend. As you probably guessed, no call. My husband put a couple of shims under the back feet of both chairs to straighten them a bit and it is an improvement, but I would not buy the same chairs again. I didn't pursue the issue because they fit in the RV great and I don't believe La-Z-Boy had another model for RV. I would shop somewhere else next time.

    I have always loved La-Z-Boy furniture but the last two items have been a disappointment. My outdoor furniture that is kept on a screened in porch and not used often has had 2 broken chairs. Recently I purchased a recliner and the upholstery is coming undone. I have to use all my might to push back the chair in recline mode and the upholstery is sloppy. I am very disappointed and probably won't buy any of their furniture.

The sales rep was a very helpful young lady. She went through different fabric qualities and helped us look at issues with samples we brought in to match up with the flooring. I bought a couch, love seat, and recliner from Living Spaces and they all look sad. The seat cushions have lost their shape and the fabric does not stay in place.     We bought 2 couches from La-Z-Boy around September 2012. We take good care of our furniture (dog not allowed on it and kids don't go crazy on it) yet after only 3 1/2 years the synthetic leather started peeling off all on its own. We did not pick at it and we even had my mother-in-law make head covers to drape over the top to protect it from getting worse. But now another year later they are peeling like crazy to the point we find little pieces of our couch on the floor. Not great when you have a baby crawling around. And before this started the underside of the couch was always shedding foam, which I think was due to reclining the seat. It was like every time you reclined another little sliver of foam would get shaved off.

    We thought we were buying from a reputable furniture company and getting really good furniture with a price tag of $2000. But no well-taken care of furniture should disintegrate like this. We've looked at warranty information and apparently this is just considered 'wear and tear' so warranty won't cover it. Totally feel like we wasted our money, not to mention trying to keep our 1-year old from eating couch bits. We will not shop here again.

    Finding the recliner was the easy part. The store in Bel Air, MD had a great selection. When I got home I was looking at the paperwork and found an error in what was the balance. My salesman was Michael ** the Sales Manager so I called him and told him the balance I was to pay was incorrect and he said they all come out of the computer that way. Well, he told me to pay the $1.05 less than my receipt suggested. If they make $1.05 per chair sold that is a pretty penny at the end of the year.

    I picked up my La-Z-Boy chair on Monday 3/28/17 and I ordered it on 2/24/17. I bought this chair because of the higher back and the back support over the one I had. The first time I sat in it I was SHOCKED because when I went to get up the back part of the arms felt like just the side boards with no padding. The arms on this style is VERY bad and I wish I'd never bought it. I did not notice this on the one in the store. I've had La-Z-Boy furniture for the last 52 years and loved everything I ever bought.     I bought a couch at the Colerain Avenue La-Z-Boy in Cincinnati Oh and it was delivered 10/6/15. I am 72 years old and live alone. I have bought 2 pieces of furniture from La-Z-Boy in the past with no problems. Imagine my horror when at Christmas of 2016, I noticed that the coach was giving way from underneath. As of now (3/17), I am unable to sit on the couch for fear of it falling apart. I paid a total of $1144.89 for a piece of furniture that lasted around 1-1/2 years. I realize it wasn't that expensive, but since I'm retired and on a fixed income, I have to watch what I spend. I would never purchase any other items from La-Z-Boy and 11 have shared my experience with family and friends. Shame on La-Z-Boy and their poor workmanship!

    My experience with La-Z-Boy furniture is certainly not what I would have expected. I visited your store in South Attleboro Massachusetts several times before making my decision. I ended up spending $3019.86 on 2/20/17. I purchased your Leighton Sofa and Addison Recliner. On the day I made the purchase, the store manager was able to help me. She was wonderful. We were told that our furniture would be delivered in 8 weeks. The pieces were delivered on 3/25/17. The delivery men were great. Very friendly and helpful. I wish I could say the same about your staff at the store. I returned to the store the following day on 3/26/17 as I was very dissatisfied with the quality of the back of the recliner. The stripes do not match up, the sewing is off and ill fitting and the back of the chair is cut at an angle. I brought the back of the chair into the store in a large plastic bag as to protect it.

    I walked into the store with this very large chair backing and the same 2 salesmen were standing chatting in your empty store not offering any help as usual. I asked another salesman for assistance. He suggested I place the back of the chair on the table. I first asked if he could remove the items from the table. One item being a cup of bright green liquid. He did, and proceeded to help me remove the plastic bag from my chair backing. Immediately I notice a bright green spot on my chair where the salesman was standing. He responded with "I didn't do that". I showed him the chair and how the sewing is off, and how the back of the chair was cut at an angle, he really didn't seem to care at all, and suggested to call customer service as they cannot help with these problems at the store.

    He walked to the store phone and contacted customer service. I was handed the phone and he walked away to talk to the other 2 salesmen. I spoke to Shahera at customer service and tried to explain my concerns. She and I agreed on a home visit for April 8. I asked the salesman for a pen and paper, and either he didn't hear me or at this point he was ignoring me. I hung up and asked if I could show him some photos of the chair, and he said very rudely, "There really isn't anything I can do for you". I return to my chair back and proceeded to put it back into the plastic bag at which point AnnMarie (another sales person) walked over to ask if everything was ok. I told her that I am very dissatisfied with this store, the staff and the quality of my purchased item. She said, "Oh, sorry you're not happy". That was it!

    I then picked up the chair backing to leave the store. Now this is the back of a recliner, so the piece is quite large and awkward to carry. Not one of your 4 sales staff offered any help whatsoever. Not even to hold the door for me. This has been a terrible experience for me. I only hope that when a La-Z-Boy representative arrives to my home and can see for himself, the terrible quality of the chair I purchased, I will be able to get the service I would have expected. I had chosen La-Z-Boy because of your reputation, but my experience so far has not been a positive on. Please see the attached images of my chair.

    We went in to purchase a recliner and got a couch too. The lady that helped us was friendly and helpful, we paid for our order, set delivery date! Then went downhill. First screwed up our delivery. The date they were suppose to confirm delivery, no call so I ended up calling to see why I wasn't called. "Ma'am you were taken off delivery. Either the store messed up or the warehouse," they said, so we rescheduled. Not happy. They called and delivered but then our recliner and couch were suppose to match, wrong couch color. I gave up, was hoping for no problems!

    I wanted to buy my husband a new recliner for his birthday. I immediately thought of La-Z-Boy. They're American born and I thought I'd be getting the best quality. I paid a little more than other stores, but again, I felt it would be worth it. Before owning it a month, I started hearing squeaking when rocking. Now, 3 months later, it's louder and more frequent. If I'd bought a cheaper recliner, I wouldn't be so upset about this. But having spent so much, I did not expect such a low quality recliner. I will not be visiting this store again.

    I’ve had a La-Z-Boy recliner in my house but it’s worn-out and time for something new. My old furniture was floral and I liked it up until the last few years. The order has been on-hold for a couple of weeks because at first, I thought I was just getting rid of my floral couch. And then, it became apparent that I was going to redo all the furniture and wanted to be sure I had a paint and carpet picked out so that it all went together. Everybody at La-Z-Boy has been super nice. Brooke has been extra patient, good and helpful. If it wouldn’t have been for her, I would never have gotten this far. It’s a big purchase but it would have been a lot more if I went with some other brand but I chose La-Z-Boy because it was affordable.

    I purchase a couch and recliner from La-Z-Boy in San Jose and pick them up on February 15 2015. The backrest on the recliner broke in the first year. Now the couch broke in three places. I just notice this about a week ago. I spent almost $2000.00 and it failed. I called the repair center about fixing it. The will charge me $49.00 to look at and $79.00 to repair. I will have to drop off and wait 4 to 6 weeks for them repair. I contacted the corporate office today to see if they will honor the lifetime warranty. If they don't I will never buy La-Z-Boy again.

    I purchased a reclining sectional loveseat and a stand alone recliner. The sectional was for me and my husband and the recliner for my mother. When her recliner arrived, she was unable to sit in it at all. The dimensions in the chair she received were very different from the dimensions of the chair in the store. After several conversations with the sales rep and manager, they agreed to let her return it to reselect. The manager was rude and while he conceded to allow her to reselect he did so begrudgingly with much attitude. She ended up choosing a recliner that matches my sectional, and those choices have ended up being a painful mistake.

    The console unit with the loveseat came broken with the promise it would be fixed quickly onsite. After using the recliners for a few weeks it became obvious that it was not well made. We can feel the wood in the seat back, the recline puts you at such an awkward angle you can't watch TV without getting a neck cramp and sitting in it longer than 15-30 minutes causes actual physical pain.

    After waiting nearly a month a technician came out and was unable to repair the console, and said he would need to order more foam/padding for the back. Since then I've heard nothing from La-Z-Boy and the discomfort has gotten worse. My mother has now had to make an appointment with a local pain clinic because the chair is so horrendously uncomfortable. I've called the customer care department several times and have gotten no real answers, with several promises of return calls for updates. We are so disappointed with the product and the service we will never return to that store. They seem to only care about keeping my money and not standing behind their product. How is living in pain acceptable?

    Purchased an Oatmeal power-lift recliner before going in to hospital for triple bypass operation. Subsequently during two power outages, battery backup didn't work. Was resolved to our satisfaction. My husband purchased a power-lift recliner for himself, and within 36 hours the lift motor went out. After a very lengthy period during which someone came out and looked, brought a new battery and power unit--was FINALLY resolved by having him order a new recliner... and wait 6 weeks for it to be built and delivered. Think the next time we're in the market for a recliner, we'll go back to Jerome's! By the way, your local representative in the store was VERY helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed working with him.

    It was 40 years ago when I last bought La-Z-Boy furniture. When I bought a new house, none of my old furniture will work and I also wanted a recliner. My sales representative and the delivery people were nice. Lauren also helped me a lot and when I bought additional stuff, I bought it from her. I paid for a lot of it and they had to keep it until I could get the house ready to accept the furniture. I made the bedroom set out of chests that I bought there. And it’s beautiful, I love it and I’m very happy. I’ve been using it and doing very well. I’m not even beginning to get finished with the house. I intend to go back to look for accent pieces. It’s a little expensive but, sometimes, if that’s what you want, that’s what you pay. I would certainly recommend the store to anyone.

    I really cannot describe how disappointed I am with the quality of La-Z-Boy furniture. I purchased a power recliner on June 21, 2015. The salesman, Kamal **, at the Vaughan Bass Pro Mills location convinced me to buy the extended 7 year warranty and clearly stated that I "can rest assured that anything that happens to the couch will be fully covered for the full seven years." Few months back I noticed that the one side of the couch I use has foam compression and is longer comfortable to sit on, especially the foot rest area where feel the hard board underneath my feet. I contacted my salesman a month ago and he denied he made such promises. He said he'd look into the situation but disappeared from the face of the earth. I'm very disappointed in La-Z-Boy's quality and customer service. What I thought was going to be an investment in a long lasting couch for over $2000 was a complete waste of money.

    We ordered a full set of furniture for our living room. We are pleased with the sofa, chair and ottoman and coffee table and large area rug but we are not pleased with the two recliners. One of the recliners is now on its second back piece and we will need one for the other also because it doesn't fit. I also am very disappointed in the fabric.     After owning many La-Z-boy chairs over the years, we were not reluctant to purchase two additional recliners. We also bought the extended warranty. Shortly after getting the chairs - which we thought were simulated leather - we found what simulated really means. The material started peeling on the arms and the back rest - the seat cushions, etc. exposing fabric underneath. This was on my wife's' chair. I seldom use my chair and it is peeling also shortly after my wife's' chair started. We have black objects all over the floor.

    I called La-z-boy about the extended warranty, and was told that my warranty did not cover my problems. These were $700.00 plus chairs - not exactly cheap - except in construction. We have written to La-Z-Boy several times and they won't even respond. Needless to say, this is the last piece of furniture I will ever buy with a La-z-Boy name on it. I still have the paperwork including the extended warranty "JOKE" which I can produce. However while extending a deaf ear to my problem, I am not providing it at this time. What good would it do.

    I've had my La-Z-Boy for thirteen years. All the mechanisms are still fine with it, but as expected, the material wears out. We bought a new one and the sales rep was very knowledgeable and patient. The delivery guys were professional, clean, quick and made sure their feet were covered. In addition, anything they were walking in with was set down right and they didn’t bang the walls. The customer service is very friendly and they do what they say.     Purchased a very expensive sitting room suite including two recliners and a love seat. Within a month the frame cracked and came apart in one of the recliners and the leather is wrinkling on the sides from stress already, we hardly use them and we are not overweight or abuse them. The warranty assessor said the "glue" had likely given way. I said "since when does La-Z-Boy glue their chairs together?" I thought I purchased a high priced quality item with proper design and assembly; not like the crap coming from discount stores.

    I was dissatisfied that we were not getting a new chair and we were only getting another frame that won't be properly assembled in the factory (not that this one was anyway). We now have a very, very expensive second hand chair! Anyway, we purchased a very expensive extended warranty and it looks like we'll be using it a lot!!! Don't waste your money on La-Z-Boy furniture, it's not apparently any better than the cheap stuff!

    I was on La-Z-Boy's website several times. It is very user-friendly. They have an extensive collection of fabric and that's where I found the fabric that I wanted. So, we narrowed down what we wanted as far as the type, design, fabric, material of the fabric are concerned. We took the numbers and we went inside the store and told them what we wanted so they pulled them off there. But, we had a few problems on the material of the loveseat. When the furniture was delivered it was overcast outside and the stuff is brown in color so it's hard to see. When the sun came out we saw a couple of imperfections. The technician told us that it looked like somebody smeared glue on it and tried to wipe it off but it didn't work. But, the loveseat is great with the exception of the backrest having problems. As far as quality and sitting on them is concerned, it's every bit of what we know the brand name to be.

    Their service is great. They're replacing the two cushions, the backrest on the loveseat. They told us it would take about five weeks to get them, just like ordering new furniture, but we understand that. Also, the store manager at the La-Z-Boy store was a superb individual. He couldn't have done anything better. He was very professional, polite, very extending as far as to help us with the problem that we had.

    I ordered a sofa table from Appleton WI La-Z-Boy store. It came damaged, corner was broken off and glued on. I dealt with Cheyenne from the Appleton store. She stated she was the big boss, in charge, and could do nothing!! She was rude and very unprofessional! I am still in shock a salesperson could speak like she did! Never will I recommend La Z Boy!     When our son moved out, we gave him our old couch. So, we were forced into the market for a new one. My wife’s 5’11” and I’m 6 foot, so the La-Z-Boy's height and head adjustment made the difference for us. On all the other couches we’ve sat on that reclined, my head would be over the couch, but the La-Z-Boy had the head support. The quality is good, too, but I’ve seen better quality. I feel I paid a little bit more for the La-Z-Boy. But we were willing to pay a little bit more for the head support. It was a pleasant and educational experience. And our sales rep has been very pleasant, professional, informative and non-pushy, so we’re happy.

Very poor quality, La-Z-Boy sent rep to our home and he suggested purchasing a fabric shaver after we spent $4,000.00 on 2 pieces of furniture. Several former customers told us to try elsewhere, the quality and customer service no longer exists for La-Z-Boy. Please, don't waste your time and money, try another reputable company that appreciates loyal customers.

    We went in a few different times at the La-Z-Boy store looking and trying to decide and the sales rep, Paige, was awesome. She helped us mostly at the store and she was wonderful. Erica, who came out in our house, was great too in helping us with the decorating. We were originally going to place the order and we changed our mind on what we wanted. So we had them hold that then we went back into the store when Erica was available to pick something else out. But it's been three weeks since we ordered the power recliners and we haven't gotten a call yet about their delivery. They said it usually takes four to six weeks.

    The chair that I received did not offer the comfort features like the chair in the showroom. That is why I bought it. First thing, my feet do not reach the floor. The chair offers little or no back support. I have back problems. Also, it hurts my neck. I came to the store several times to sit in the chair to make sure it was comfortable and it was. I am very disappointed with my purchase and will not be happy with it. I did my homework and ended up with something that I don't like. It would be so nice if there would be a solution for me.     We purchased two matching rocker recliners 3 years ago. Both have issues. One the mechanism does not hold the chair in recliner position. The other the material tore, and the foam went flat in the leg/foot rest. We purchased the 5 year warranty as we were told by the salesman that everything would be covered, material, structure, etc. Additionally we ordered the extra firm. We did not read the warranty however, took the salesman's word. (The print is about a 3 or 4 font and we have to use a magnifying glass).

    When we returned to the store regarding our problems in Dec. 2016, we were told we would have to deal with the warranty company. Upon contacting them, we were advised we must submit at least 5 pictures per issues with a detailed description. This was accomplished in late January/early February. In Feb. a technician was sent out, indicated he saw both the issues, wrote up his report and said we would hear from them. We heard nothing. March 9 I called to inquire. They could not seem to locate the claim and said they would follow up. Several days later an email was sent indicating the chair was not covered. Evidently tears in the seams are not covered, and only the foam in the seat is covered. March 22 a box of parts were received.

    When I again called, I was told "if we did not think we could make the repairs, they would send out a technician". There were not instructions, nothing, just a box of parts. I indicated we did indeed want a technician to make the repairs, and I wanted to register a complaint that nothing would be done for the other chair. It looks like it is about 20 years old and is embarrassing it is so broken down. Seems warranty company does not care. We neither one are heavy nor do we have any children in the household. These chairs did not have abusive use. We are very disappointed in the La-Z-Boy chairs.

    Well it has not been a wonderful experience for me. I waited the 6 weeks for the furniture to be delivered as expected. When they delivered the items it was pretty much a drop and run as can be expected. The next day we noticed that one of the couches had a broken left arm rest assembly. No problem, right? I called them and they only come out 2 times a week, so I waited a week for the rep to come. Yup, broken, we'll have to order a replacement. So now, wait 6 more weeks for it to be made, another week for an appointment for the repair and so it is. IF it all goes to plan, it will have been 14 weeks for me to get my furniture in a usable state from the date of purchase. Does that sound reasonable to you. It does not make me a happy guy. Nor does the taking 3 days off from work to make this all happen. Mostly I'm disappointed in the turnaround for the broken couch. It is all paid for and I still can't sit on my main sofa.

Then much later I received an email that a service rep was going to contact me. That was last week. I still have not received a further email or call.     The last La-Z-Boy recliner we purchased less than 2 years ago is falling apart at the frame. After 3 months of talking to recordings, calling and being put on hold for more than 30 minutes and never talking to anyone, being told someone would get back with me, then finally thinking I was going to get the chair taken care of if I drive 1 1/2 hours to a store, I receive a call from someone that I need to pay $117.00 for the technician before they can schedule the repair. I thought it was a lifetime warranty if it was the structure of the chair. Wrong, I didn't read the fine print. They will repair the structure but I pay the person doing it. I suggest that anyone who might read this critique, buy a less expensive recliner that is comfortable and replace it every two years. It would be much less expensive and much less frustrating. Deal with companies that stand by their products.

    We had a meeting with a salesperson and a designer (La-Z-Boy's) and everything went fairly well. I did feel they were pushing certain products almost insisting when we in fact did not really like the item(s). After we said no about the third time they got the message. Once the sale was done we were turned over to a cashier. The designer did not acknowledge us or thank us for the order as she left the building. The salesperson was also a little aloof and seemed like she was done with us and she did not care any longer. Contact was made to buy another table and it seemed like our request was beneath her. Love the furniture but customer service after the fact needs work! After spending thousands of dollars as we did it is disappointing to be treated like we did not matter.

    I have a bad neck and no other recliners had the power headrest aside from La-Z-Boy. They're expensive and they break down all the time but they always fix the product and I never have to pay. But, I'm inconvenienced because it's at least two visits every time it breaks. We had to wait for them to come out and assess the problem. Then they had to order parts where the parts have to come to us directly, and when it came, we called them to schedule the installation. Then it was either the wrong part or it wasn't enough parts and they didn't completely assess the problem. So, I had to order more parts. Literally, they pulled the recliner apart and left it on my living room floor for three and a half months, waiting for parts.

    Also, the footrest broke on it three times. Not only did the chair break but the frame broke and was lifting to the left. So, all the cushions on the left side were worn down which they had to replace. Their salespeople are wonderful and the item was delivered on time. But the La-Z-Boy loungers themselves leave a little bit to be desired. But I gotta have the power headrest. So, I'll have to pay this money every three years and buy a new one. I'll also pay a little extra for the warranty program and hopefully, they get their act together with service. Other than those, the current chair that I have and their service and delivery have been wonderful.

    I needed an extensive surgery on my right shoulder and my doctor informed me that I would need to sleep in a power remote recliner for the first two months of my recovery. I purchased a power remote recliner from La-Z-Boy as a medical necessity and the purchase was listed as such. After less than a week of use, the chair broke and the company would not allow it to be exchanged (because it had been in my pet-free, smoke-free home) and will not send someone to fix it for almost two weeks even though the chair is a medical necessity. Therefore, I will be getting very little sleep and be in terrible and completely unnecessary pain for two weeks. Called Customer Care again and finally got someone out here weeks later. Then a replacement part had to be ordered and took another couple of weeks to get someone here to repair it. The people who came out were great just the Customer Service when trying to get someone here. We expected better of La-Z-Boy. Also, we went to the store to talk to someone about our problem and was told no one was there to talk to in the Customer Service dept. It should have never taken this long for the repair.

    Power Rocker Recliner Style 10798 - We have always had a positive experience with La-Z-Boy furniture until this last piece of furniture ordered. When it was delivered you could see the stitching where seams came together, etc. and the stuffing was poor. There are wrinkles in the material which are not smoothed out. Had another back reordered and delivered. Some improvement but not completely satisfied. The stitching was improved but the stuffing and wrinkles are still there. I am a seamstress and know quality when I see it and this is not quality for La-Z-Boy. I was even told that the fabric I choose was part of the problem even though I was not told that by the sales rep and manager when the order was written up. For the amount of money we paid for the power recliner I expected a much higher quality than I feel we received. (Ordered 11/6/16 and received second back 2/21/17).

    We bought a Briggs power 3 seat sofa and mechanical reclining loveseat for our family room at La-Z-Boy in early January during their holiday sales event. We were able to buy the blue color on display in the store that we desired (and was able to have our furniture delivered from the warehouse within a week if we wanted), so we got a very good price. We chose this company because all their furniture is made in the U.S., so we felt the quality would be better. Because we had to donate our old furniture and steam clean our carpet, we held off on the delivery for several weeks. The delivery men were very careful when walking into our house and delivering the furniture. They put it together quickly but carefully.

    We have been very pleased with the furniture. I use the power reclining sofa all the time when I read or watch TV. Unlike the mechanical reclining loveseat, the power reclining sofa moves the foot portion up slowly and gradually, and the back even slower. So it can be adjusted to whatever height you want, and is comfortable to watch TV or read in. Only when you want your feet all the way up, will the back go far back, but that would be best if you want to rest or relax.

    I love my recliner. However, it doesn't love me. After sitting in it for about ten minutes, my back begins to hurt. It has become so problematic, that I cannot use this chair. I question whether this is the same model I tried out in the showroom. I was assured it was. The seat seems to be "shorter" in depth than I experienced in the store. Whatever it is, I cannot use my lovely new chair. The fabric is beautiful but it just is too uncomfortable. I wish there was a solution because I have two other La-Z-Boy recliners that I love and have used for years. If you have a solution, I would welcome a response. My shopping experience was very positive. I would rate it five stars. I always have a good experience with that particular store. The salesperson was great. Unfortunately, I'm rating my recliner with fewer stars because it hurts my back.

    The La-Z-Boy employees in Canton MI gave us very good service and they were patient. We purchased 5 pieces from the store. All items were special order due to the fabric we liked. Sitting on the items in the store we both liked how comfortable they were. We received a call about the delivery date and were advised one of the items was damaged and needed to be repaired before delivery. We told them we did not want a damaged item. We were told the item was special ordered and we could not return it. We received the item after it was repaired and it was still damaged. We had to call a repair person to come to our home. The repairman was very nice and helpful. One of us had to wait around the house for the repairman to arrive and assess the problem. We had to wait a second time, weeks later for the repairman to return to fix the item (again) that was allegedly repaired at the warehouse.

    Three of four of the recliners we purchased are horrible to sit in. No one in my family likes sitting in them. They bother my neck and are difficult to get out of. After about five months, another recliner's arm is loose and we will have to call a repair person to fix it. Which means one of us will have to sit around the house waiting for the repairman to show up and possibly miss work again. We had La-Z-Boy prior to this purchase for years and were extremely happy. That was the reason we returned to La-Z-Boy. This purchase we are not happy at all with. We filled out a survey about the experience and no one ever contacted us. I guess it is our problem since we special ordered the items. We will not return to La-Z-Boy for further purchases. Very disappointed in the quality of your furniture. When we entertain, people are told about our negative experience.

    I bought some furniture three years ago from La-Z-Boy and then recently, a sofa because I'm changing a room from an office into a den. Their sales reps have been very good. I've also worked with two designers and both of them have been wonderful. One designer, Taylor, has been really easy to work with. So far, everything's gone really well. I just got a call that the couch is in and the upholsterer has the material that I ordered. I made good sales more with her. Then the last time, I dealt with a different designer, Sarah. I'm still in the process of doing some work on the room and I haven't scheduled delivery yet.

    When I did the living room and I bought the furniture, people would come in and they'd look at it and they'd ask if it's La-Z-Boy. Their advertising and doing more like the Stanton-type brown furniture is what everybody thinks of this La-Z-Boy and these were all light colors and no recliners. But I really like their furniture. It's always comfortable and they're able to bear loads with stacks and beatings. I would absolutely recommend them to other people.

    We were excited to work with a designer in the Alpharetta, GA store to decorate a new keeping room. We were so happy with the assistance. We spent $12000 in total on furniture, Total Care Stain Protection ($1450), and a rug. After a long wait for the furniture it arrived with a stain on the sofa cushion. Following the instructions for the stain protection it remained stained. A warranty rep would have to come out. How disappointing that the expensive protection could not protect it from delivery. To make things worse the rug had been folded creating 4 creases all the way across so that it would not sit flat after the 3 days recommended. No problem, I will return it. I called 3 times to the store and emailed pictures including a cut or bald spot and was told again service would come and look at it.

    At this point being very disappointed, I would prefer to return it. At this point I am told it was a "special" order and would be charged 30% to return it. Really for defective product! I have been told after service looks at it, they may fix or replace it, but at this point the whole experience has been so stressful and disappointing, I hate seeing it. I really feel foolish for purchasing a rug at a rep's recommendation from a picture without the option of returning it if not happy with it, and want to be sure others understand that shopping here and not buying off the floor is considered "special" and you have better options, as you being happy is not their concern. It's all in the receipt I am told.

    This has been the worst nightmare ever with furniture in our 49 years of marriage. We have been dealing with the Montgomery store since Sept. 2016 to no avail. Even the Better Business Bureau could not budge them from insisting, that all our issues are normal. We have noises, creaks, squeaks in the recliners and thousands of fuzzballs on the loveseat. Customer service has been deplorable. Will have to look for legal advice now. This furniture was over $3,000.00 and looks and acts like dime store furniture that costs about $700.00 at most.     The first purchase I had from La-Z-Boy was very good. I've had the chair for years and loved it, but the fabric started to tear away. I recently had a heart attack and my legs were somehow affected. They were very weak so I couldn't get out of the chair. So we went to La-Z-Boy because I had a good experience with them and they directed me to this lift chair. It sounded really good because it took me up off my feet, but I didn't get enough time to sit on it and test all the positions because since I've had it in my home, I can't get comfortable in it and nowhere near the comfort that I had with the other chair. It puts me up on my feet, but that's all it does. I have spent $2600 on it but I don't want it anymore and I don't know what to do about it.

    I have reached out to customer service and they used the three-day period no negotiations. That's unreasonable. I can't get used to a chair in three days. Even my son got so upset about it because I just had a heart attack. I went to Comfort Care and they said the same thing and couldn't deal with it. I wanted to make a deal with them because I wanted to buy another chair, but I wanted to bring this one back. They wouldn't take it because it's now a used chair.

    I purchased a La-Z-Boy recliner with power everything. I noticed it making noises. When inspected a brace came loose. I fixed it myself but was disappointed at the poor looking construction. Now a month later the reclining mechanism started jamming not allowing the back to fully come back up. After inspection and finding a broken weld and the rest of the mechanism bent. I contacted LazBoy to be told 3 weeks for a third party repairman to come and I needed to PREPAY $106.00 plus tax for 1 hour of mechanic time as the service company does not charge or collect payment. Also this is an inspection. They do not bring a new mechanism even though I said the welds were broken and it was bent. I can only imagine the labor on the second trip.

    I asked if they were taking my credit card as a guaranty of payment and she said no. They were charging me for the service I had asked for 3 weeks in the future. I told her it was illegal to charge for something I had not received but her supervisor gave her the justification of it was like reserving a hotel room. BUT hotels do not charge the card until you check in and the service is provided. I need the chair fixed so I ended the discussion.

    First, let me say, I am happy with my furniture. However, the experience and customer service here leaves a lot to be desired. I had purchased from the La-Z-Boy in Nashua, NH previously and been extremely pleased. The salesperson I dealt with in Ft. Myers was fine and very helpful. The decorator could not be bothered with me at all. Seemed like I was putting her out if I asked a question. However, the real problem came when I went in to schedule delivery. When I did the order I discussed with the salesperson that it would work because I was spending so much money and could finance over 3 years with no interest. She even figured out the payment. When I went in to schedule delivery I saw on the paperwork that it was listed as 1 year with no interest. The salesperson and I discussed this and she agreed to speak with the store manager (this was a new one from when I placed the order).

    He basically told the salesperson it was my problem. She suggested I call him which I did. I explained the situation and he pretty much said "too bad". When I asked if he could at least work with me and maybe do two years, he said he would do three, but charge me back any discounts I received. He was rude and very unpleasant. I would never have purchased what I did if I had not been given the 3 year option and why would the salesperson and I ever spend the time to figure out the payments if this wasn't the case. It just left a very bad impression with me and although I might go back to the Nashua store I would never set foot in the Ft. Myers store again and am happy to tell everyone I know to stay away.

    The store was fabulous, the employees were great. We purchased a sofa, double love seat, and recliner in January of 2015. We also purchased the 5-year warranty/protection plan they have through Montage. This is where we made the mistake. We were told it covered wear and tear up to 5-years, that essentially, you can get your pieces replaced if something happens.

    Today I called my La-Z-Boy store I bought it to get the information on how to put in a claim; first they gave me the wrong number (apparently they use two separate businesses for this). After a day of emailing and providing my personal information, I was informed they were the wrong service and I could not be helped. When I called back to the store to let them know, they patched me back to the same third party vendor that does not have my information. That is when I found I had to call Montage.

    I called Montage to complete a claim and they pretty much told me 'no'. In small print all claims need to be made within 30 days. When I asked about wear and tear, they said they can refuse any claims on stains or damage to the fabric. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. The employee at the store described the protection plan way differently than what they actually cover. Now, I have damaged furniture and cannot get it fixed, and threw money down the drain on the protection plan.

    Had a very bad experience. In 2014 purchased furniture from La-Z Boy, Vernon Hills, IL. That included a bedroom set, living room couches, side tables, bar, mirror, etc... Everyone was super nice at the store while shopping for furniture. Once the furniture was paid, everything changed, their attitude, their fantastic customer service.

    The couches were made at their factory. When they came they were half empty filled, and as the largest couch was made of 4 sections, my 4 years old boy could easily stick his both legs between the sections (which was also dangerous). We contacted the store to have them checked and fixed. At the store they told us that they don't know anything and we should call customer service. We called customer service, send them pictures - they told us that this is how it is supposed to be. After many long calls they sent someone with some stuffing to fill some of the gaps. Very unprofessional attitude.

    Now, after three years we are calling them again because the mattress holding system broke. With the expensive furniture we were advised to buy a 5 years protection plan which according to the sales people "COVERS EVERYTHING". Called the store today, March, 2017, then the customer service - they said that the bed is discontinued and they can't repair it. Called the insurance company - ULTRA SHIELD Protection plan and they said that they cover the bed only for stains, but not the frame and other things, so my $4k bed is a waste... In conclusion LA-Z-BOY furniture is expensive, POOR QUALITY, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

    Have not even received furniture yet. Called to pay off balance with Rebecca at Short Pump Store in Richmond Va, and scheduled delivery for today. Get a call from someone asking me if I would like to schedule my furniture delivery, (I'm home waiting for it). Company keeps really good notes on all conversations up until now then Rebecca denies dealing with me and making the delivery appt. Manager says there is no track of who took my money or who made the mistake, how convenient. Buy furniture from a store that does not charge a delivery fee, will let you pick it up and a store that will take responsibility for their employees. Will never buy furniture here again, and I haven't even received it. Scheduled delivery for Saturday so I don't have to miss another day of work.

    After I ordered my chair online, I got an email congratulating me on my choice. It showed my order number and the amount of the purchase and gave a phone number to call about any issues. But there wasn't a word about delivery, which was not covered in the online transaction. So I called the number to inquire about delivery. The person I talked to said they had no record of my purchase. I told her they had just sent me an email with the order number in it. Still she couldn't find any record of it. I said I had ordered it online and that my account had been debited for the purchase. She replied that she was at a La-Z-Boy showroom in a nearby suburb and didn't have information about the online accounts. "But you sent me an email about it," I said... And it went on that way. Though she was polite, she was obviously dealing with a system that was either poorly designed or simply not working. She had me call the warehouse to arrange delivery.

    Getting through to them on the phone was difficult and tied me up for more than an hour, but I managed to get a delivery appointment for five days later--a Saturday. When Saturday came, the delivery person called to say that they hadn't been able to find my address and I would have to reschedule. It turned out someone had written down the wrong street number. They were off by five blocks. Now I have initiated the process for a reschedule but don't have a firm date from the warehouse yet. It has been a week since I ordered the chair online, and I'm looking at next Wednesday at the earliest--four days away. And I am wondering why La-Z-Boy couldn't have made the process a little more streamlined. Amazon does it. Why not La-Z-Boy?

    We decided that it was time to grow up our basement. We have our big wreck room and we had three couches that were a set, and we decided to go with a sectional and a chair. We've used La-Z-Boy a lot and we tried to have the designer assistance for the room. We've used it before when we did our family room and our living room upstairs. They helped us pick out our kitchen table set, which La-Z-Boy doesn't carry in the store, but was one of their brands. Having the designers in the store is a huge plus for me to keep using La-Z-Boy. There's an expense to them, but they have made me buy a lot more than I ever would have. Everything from lamps, decor, and our kitchen table and chairs which were not even in the store. I would normally not have done it and it was the designer who made me comfortable doing it. Unfortunately, the designer I like left and the new ones haven't been as good at my store in the DC, Baltimore area.

    While we kept getting a design we liked this time, we could not find a complementary fabric that was attractive to us for the furnishing that they had to get on some chairs for our seating area which was a fairly fun red. There were burgundies and peaches and grays, but there weren't reds. We waited a year and kept going back every three or four months, but they've never came in. So, it was a little frustrating. The only thing they could come up with was way contemporary. And I'm not quite in that range of taste on my furnishings. I recognized certain colors are trendy and right now, it's the grays. But not everybody goes with gray if they don't have carpets or walls or artwork that go with it. So we abandoned the design that they had picked out and went with a brown sectional which we also like but was not what we originally planned for.

    La-Z-Boy needs to have a little more diverse offerings as everybody has their own taste and own style. They need to have things across the spectrum, not just big patterns or paisley. When we bought our family room set, they had a little chart which will show this fabric goes with this and that. And it made it really easy because they had a great paisley that we put on the Ottoman and some pillows. I wish they would have had that, but it doesn't seem like they do that as much. There are a few couches that way, but not that many. Most of them is just some range of solids that they are doing. But I do love the computer where they pull the design up and tell you what it looks like.

    We've never had a problem with deliveries, but this time with the sectional, we had to be insistent that they work on getting the pieces closer. There is one piece that was a single seat and we made them take it apart and get that piece together tighter because there was a big gap between it and I'm never gonna leave it like that. And they were fine doing it for us. They're in a hurry, but everything was clean. They're polite, nice, and timely.

    We've bought a La-Z-Boy recliner and another sofa couple of years ago. Recently, we remodeled one of our rooms and we needed a new sectional. We went shopping at Columbia and the sales person helped us figure out what we needed as far as their configuration for our room. The delivery guys were really good, too. One of their reclining sections wouldn't recline and they were able to get it to work but it took a lot of tries. They did not give up and worked at it for 45 minutes. In addition, the furniture looked too big and I was thinking how they're going to fit that in the room but I was amazed that they were able to get it into the room without hitting anything. Everybody was friendly and professional from start to finish.

    The furniture is not perfect but it's pretty good. That one section that has a problem reclining is still not quite right. It's not like it was in the showroom where I could sit down in it and just put a little handle and the thing would pop up. I kind of have to do a trick and work with it to make it work. On the other hand, the quality of the furniture is really good and it's really comfortable. I like the look and feel of it.

    We had a La-Z-Boy sectional for 20 years but it was getting worn out so we decided to get a new sectional and a recliner from them. Their reps were very helpful. I liked how they put the details on the computer and figured out the size we needed. We were way off on the size and she showed us that what we wanted wouldn’t fit in there. So, it was really helpful. Our delivery experience with them was fine, too. But I would suggest that they try out the furniture first before they leave because we are having a problem right now. It won’t recline. They came out once to try to fix it, but it still doesn’t work. So, they’re coming out again. I hope that we can get that fixed because I’m worried about it. But, the material is great, wherein we can just wipe it up and I love it. Overall, they are a really a good company.

    Bought leather sofas, hoping that they'd be durable enough to last for at least 10 yrs. Alas, they are tearing at the seams. One is only 3 yrs. old, the other, 4. I've experienced several issues with one sofa in particular, & they've been resolved; not easily, but they were resolved. Since this is the same sofa that I've had issues with, I contacted customer service, but since I'm now out of warranty, they won't do anything to resolve our latest issues. I would've expected a $2,000.00 leather sofa to last well beyond 3 yrs.

    My husband & I are retired, no children at home, so it's not like they've been abused. We have two older sofas that we purchased in '03 from La-Z-Boy, & we still have, & am still using those sofas. These still look new, because we've always taken very good care of them, which is why we decided to purchase our new sofas from La-Z-Boy. We had also purchased a rocker/recliner from La-Z-Boy, shortly after we purchased these leather sofas. Clearly, these sofas are of poor quality. We will never again purchase anything from La-Z-Boy, & will now be known as former customers. There are many other alternatives to choose from when we have future furniture purchases.

    We bought a La-Z-Boy sofa set with recliners 2 years ago because we were impressed with their reputation. Our sofa set consists of two recliners. One with a parachute handle (in the middle of set) and the other with a handle (end of set). The parachute handle has broke 3 times in two years. This is obviously a design flaw. From the broken handle, the metal from the handle has scratched our sofa on both sides (middle seat). The first time this happened was within the first year of owning the set, so La-Z-Boy fixed the handle within 2-3 weeks. The second time was after our first year warranty with La-Z-Boy, but luckily we bought the extended warranty which unfortunately goes through a second company called Zucora. Upon phoning Zucora, they were able to send a technician out in 4-5 weeks!! Yes, that long!! That technician arrived and was able to fix the recliner in about 10 minutes, new handle.

    The third time this happened, I called Zucora, and told them exactly what the problem was, as this has happened not once, but twice before! They said they would have a technician call me in 1-2 weeks, and then send a technician out in 4-5 weeks (Again, the long wait). 4 weeks later the technician shows up, without any tools or parts!!! I called Zucora again, as it's been a week since the technician showed up, without any communication and NOW the part is on order, and will arrive in 8-10 weeks, and the technician will be booked AFTER that time. So we will be going on 16-20 weeks without the use of the recliner!! I would not call this good customer service!! Especially when the part could have been ordered 6 weeks ago already, when I originally called!! And why wouldn't they have any in stock anyway!!???

    In addition to the poor service from Zucora, the couch where the chord has broke is absolutely destroyed and this is not covered under any warranty from either La-Z-Boy or Zucora!! I'm am very frustrated by the quality of this merchandise as well as the service (or lack of) from either La-Z-boy or Zucora. We've only had this couch for 2 years, and it's very disappointing that such a "great company" would be so neglectful.

    I have owned a number of La-Z-Boy recliners over the years and they were well made and held up well. In cases where there was a problem, they stood behind their product (They used to give a lifetime warranty). Last summer my wife and I purchased a La-Z-Boy sofa and a chair and a half. We paid extra for what we thought was leather. As it turns out, the material was fabric that looks like leather. Additionally, we purchased a warranty that we thought would repair any issues, both mechanical and coverings, if there were problems. The issues that we have are in less than six months time, the fabric looks terrible and the so called warranty and customer service that we thought we were getting is no good.

    We do have small pets that stay inside the house. However, for as long as we have been married, we have had always had inside pets and have not had this issue with any other of our couches or chairs. We are sorely disappointed in the response we got from La-Z-Boy. The issue was "household" damage and is not covered by warranty and no offer of any solution or help. I asked for a refund of the $380 dollars we paid for the warranty but they were not willing to give us our money back. We will not be purchasing any more La-Z-Boy furniture and certainly do not recommend this brand to anyone else.

    My furniture was old and young kids jumped too much on it. So when Mindy, a sales rep from La-Z-Boy, showed us different models which my husband tested out, we decided to get a loveseat. Mindy gave me many fabric options to customize it. Everyone was extremely nice. In fact, when we purchased the loveseat before President's Day, then when the President's Day Sale rolled around and we saw that the loveseat's price was reduced further, I figured I was going to have to go to the store and wait a couple of hours. But, I was able to do it right there on the phone and they were really good about that. They walked us through the sale and was able to refund money on our credit card, which was absolutely fantastic.

    Also, the delivery crew was very good, friendly, on time, neat and didn't ding up any walls. When we had to push the delivery back because of other issues of things being done in the room, it was not a problem at all. The loveseat just arrived last week and it looks wonderful. We're very happy with its quality. I have a very positive experience. La-Z-Boy has been helpful and they have beautiful furniture, not just old and ugly recliners.

    I had major issues with the delivery service that La-Z-Boy used. They were supposed to come between 3:00 and 5:00, which is after work. They called me to tell me they were coming early at noon. I was at work, so I didn't get the call. My father, who has mild Alzheimer's, was home. He knows he's not allowed to sign anything. The person showed up at my house, and my dad didn't want to sign it, because he didn't know what couch it was supposed to be but they told my dad that they'd have to charge me a restocking fee and a lot of other stuff if he wouldn't sign it. He felt extremely uncomfortable but signed it.

    Then my dad was supposed to sign some paperwork but he wanted a copy of it, because he didn't know what he was signing. The guy tried to take my dad's phone to take a picture to show me. Instead of taking a picture, they called *5. My dad has a Jitterbug which has an emergency number. So then, I was contacted and so was my brother, that my father was having an emergency and we were charged $100 for the emergency because of the delivery guy.

    I talked to customer service and they were gonna refund me $350, that it would be sent in two weeks and it's been three and a half weeks and I haven't received it yet. I also called back to the manager of the store in San Marcos, and she told me they were following up and sending me the check, which I never got. It's very infuriating. The $350 was supposed to cover the $100 emergency call cost that I was charged and $250 just for the whole incident. They were not gonna charge me for the delivery at all. So, my next step is to re-call customer service and the manager in San Marcos. The whole thing wasn't acceptable. If La-Z-Boy can clear that up and get the check sent, that would be great.

    We ordered a recliner, 3-seat sofa, and coffee table from La-Z-Boy after trying many different models. We were very happy with the entire experience, including when we had to refuse to accept the coffee table the first time because it was damaged. Two to three months later, my recliner (not La-Z-Boy brand) broke & I went back to La-Z-Boy to buy a recliner, ordering the same material to match what we had recently received. Although my chair is quite comfortable & I am very happy with the quality of it, the material color does not match the recliner & sofa we ordered just 2-3 months earlier. The pattern is the same but my recliner is much more red whereas the other recliner & sofa are more brown.

    Next time I will come back to La-z-Boy when I need more furniture, but I will try to buy everything at the same time so I don't get different dyes for furniture that I want to match. I could have rejected or called to complain, but I didn't want to have to live without a recliner for another 6 weeks. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my experience.

    A couple months ago, I bought a La-Z-Boy rocker recliner and I also bought one in 2009. I traveled for my work so I was barely home, and I had not replaced anything in a long time except for the one I bought in 2009. I'm retired now and wanted my La-Z-Boy furniture. I absolutely love my new rocker recliner. I even got it on sale, which was the best thing compared to what I paid in 2009. I'm amazed that they weren't more than they were. I was very pleased with the price of them still.

    The sales representative at La-Z-Boy was very accommodating and explained everything to me because I've never bought a sofa recliner before. The store didn't have the particular type I wanted, and I did not want the electric kind, but she was able to show me an electric one that I could get with mechanical instead. And I purchased it without seeing the one that I was getting and I was very pleased with it.

    I scheduled the delivery and I had to cancel because I had some family business going on. And the poor delivery guy wasn't told about the cancellation, and it was the same thing when they had given me my chair two months before. And he didn't tell me that day but realized I wasn't home and was very accommodating when he came the day that was rescheduled. He was very nice about it. It was okay that he had to come back. I was really amazed at how efficient they are in putting everything together and explaining everything. Any experience I've had with them going back to my very first purchase has been excellent. All the sales people and the delivery guys know everything about their product. They explain everything, and when I have questions, they're able to answer them. I would definitely purchase again.

    By far the worst repair and customer support I have ever received. My chair broke over 2 months ago and has yet to be fixed because the process is so long and drawn out.     We purchased two loveseats and two recliners last year and have had nothing but trouble with the power loveseats. They are in a different fabric than the chairs and the fabric is not holding up. It is pilling and the dark brown areas running through the fabric is snagging and fraying. We have always bought La-Z-Boy but we are extremely disappointed in the performance of these loveseats. The furniture company is resolving the mechanical issues but they are not addressing the issue of the fabric. We purchased it from Moore Home Furniture: (509) 754-3231. The store is located in Ephrata, Washington.

    It was time to replace the chairs we had. We really had no idea what we were looking for, but the sales rep from La-Z-Boy was very helpful. We also got a bedroom suite there. They could probably do a lot better with that if they had some items on display. But other than that, it was a good experience.

    We had a great experience with La-Z-Boy and their sales representative was very helpful. Everybody in the store whom we asked, especially if our salesperson wasn't there, was really helpful. We purchased with them before and I love the comfort of the couches but then I wanted to go to power. We just got the furniture last Friday and the quality of the furniture so far is great.

    Purchased power loveseat recliner with delivery 8/15. Recent issue with mechanism to close both sides of seat. Repairman immediately saw problem preventing closure was the microfoam padding on both chairs was slipping down and blocking the mechanism to close foot rest. I am astounded! I have purchased many furniture pieces in our lifetime, including a power loveseat recliner from another manufacturer 10 yeas ago that my son is still using without any problems ever! When we purchased from this company we expected a quality piece that would last forever in our retirement home.

    When I spoke with customer service at Comfort Care one of the spokespersons kept turning my complaint around as though it was my fault for not reporting earlier. She also kept saying I never reported the problem with the chair padding, well guess what? I didn't ever think there could be a problem with the padding, nevertheless report it as that. Charged $115.54 for the repair call. The man was here less than 10 minutes, but I'm told fee will carryover to when they come back with the replacement seats! That's supposed to be a condolence to make me less angry? Will never purchase from this company or recommend!

    I purchased a sofa recliner and a rocker recliner on Jan 31, 2107. 2 days after the delivery the sofa recliner broke. It took three weeks for a service tech to come out to my house Feb 28th between 130 and 3 pm. (He showed up at 730pm.) Now it's been over a week that I was supposed to receive an email on the information for the repair. Jamey ** (La-Z-Boy) tech said the sofa was damaged during shipment and it required several parts to be replaced. About 2 hours of work. I called La-Z-Boy customer service on Mar 1st and talked to Amber who said I'll get an email. Now Mar 7th I called again to customer service and talked to Morgan who promised I would get an email with the details of the repair. What is most concerning is the order for parts has not even been placed with the factory yet?

    I'll be honest with you, we saw on the ABC evening news a piece on La-Z-Boy being American made and we had a choice and went with La-Z-Boy just because it was American made. The recliner broke two days after we received the delivery. The customer service has been a nightmare and I am reaching the point that I regret buying the La-Z-Boy product. Please help me understand why the sofa recliner is just not replaced? The tech has estimated a two hour repair and basically is taking the entire sofa recliner apart? Somehow I need to explain to my boss that I need to take the afternoon off of work and be with the repair. I have a major concern that the sofa recliner will never be to factory specifications when it is taken apart in my living room. This is a brand new expensive sofa recliner.

    My wife and I are so disappointed in our La-Z-Boy experience. I can't believe that the only recourse I have is to wait on La-Z-Boy employees to contact me (and they have not thus far) and have the sofa recliner repaired and not replaced. Sadly, other friends have asked us about our experience and so far it has not been good news. Please can someone help us? I feel as if we have fallen into an abyss of the worst kind of customer service treatment. I sincerely hope this review falls into the hands of someone who can take pride in the La-Z-Boy product and make good on the fact my sofa recliner needs to be replaced!
