    Placed a total of 9 calls for repair and not once got a callback. Finally contacted my salesperson who also stated he would have service call me but that did not happen. A broke $1500 lift recliner which is still covered under the original warranty and I also purchased the extended warranty and still no repair. I have had hip replacement and require this chair to work that is why I purchased a La-Z-Boy. Very disappointing in this so called quality company.

    I had purchased my first place and I needed everything so I bought a sectional from La-Z-Boy about a week now. The fabric’s super soft and there’s a lot of cushions. Stephen, their sales representative, was very friendly, wonderful, and he walked me through everything. Other than him being really awesome when we were at the store, we also used their design service and it was also a nice feature. Caitlyn was the woman who came up and helped design the layout. She was really nice too. In terms of cost in relation to quality, it’s appropriate. La-Z-Boy is a lot more expensive than other places, but they have quality pieces of furniture that are going to last me years so it's worth it. I purchased a dining room set from another place prior to when I bought all my living room furniture from La-Z-Boy and ended up waiting for the dining room set longer than I waited from La-Z-Boy. It was very convenient and nice to go through La-Z-Boy.

    We purchased a leather sofa and upholstered recliner in June 2016 from the Manchester, CT store. We began having problems with the chair about 6 months ago. It makes a creaking noise whenever you move in the chair. Several calls to customer service (still under warranty) resulted in several service calls with the same technician responding.

    The internal frame (metal) was replaced with brand new parts. Noise is still present. They offered to send the same technician AGAIN however, I cannot continue to take vacation time to sit home and wait for La-Z-Boy. They are unable to accommodate our request for an afternoon appointment so it's luck of the draw - & you don't find out until after 5pm the night before. And, the technician obviously cannot diagnose the cause of the problem. Frustrating. We took a very long time to decide where to buy our new furniture. We opted for La-Z-Boy because we thought we were buying quality. Turns out it is very poor quality and I'm embarrassed to said how much we paid.

    We are happy with our purchases. Valerie was a great help in picking our pieces. Unfortunately the two side tables we originally ordered were not finished on the back, which could not be seen in the showroom display, so we had to reorder and exchange. In both cases we heard nothing about our orders until we called after multiple weeks to inquire. Both times we were told our orders were ready for delivery, which seemed awfully coincidental. Delivery in both cases went well. We ordered a battery pack for our sofa since it does not sit near a wall and outlet. It works well but discharges fairly quickly. We inquired about that but were told that's normal.

    I bought an Eden sectional and the cushions started pilling, and the chaise part is higher than other cushions. I called Comfort Department and was told my 1 yr warranty expired. They said they would give me a discount on the cushions. As for the pilling they said use a little device that takes pills off of sweaters. Why should I have to do that. I constantly have to do it. The fabric is awful. I told them you can go to Bob's store and they stand up for their furniture for less than what I paid at La-Z-Boy! Could I replace whole cushion w/ new fabric.

    I am very disappointed with the quality of the two La-Z-Boy Astor recliner rockers that I bought less than two years ago. I paid more than $1100 each for them in the belief that I was buying well built chairs that would last for many years. The wood frame under the seats of both chairs has pulled apart, and one of the chairs has developed a heavy lean to the right. An examination of the frames shows that they were put together with staples that had less than half an inch of penetration. This would have held if the frames had been properly glued. However a very inadequate thread of glue had not even made contact in most places. The other major problem is that the foam padding on the seats has collapsed so that the seats are no longer comfortable and they are lower than they should be. We are an elderly couple who are not overweight. The chairs have not been abused in any way and there are no children in the house.

    I contacted the store where I bought the chairs (La-Z-Boy in South Edmonton Common) and they are replacing the frames free of charge. They wanted to charge $195 to replace the foam in each of the seat cushions as we had not bought the extended warranty on the upholstery. The reason we declined to pay extra for the warranty was that we have owned a La-Z-Boy chair for twenty years with absolutely no problems, so we trusted their excellent reputation. When I objected to the inflated price of the replacement foam, they explained that they use very high quality foam for their in-store repairs, and that I could expect the replacement foam to stand up much better than the foam installed by the manufacturer. My question is WHY WAS HIGH QUALITY FOAM NOT USED BY THE MANUFACTURER IN THE FIRST PLACE?

    Cheap and shoddy workmanship and materials are not at all what I expect from a high-end brand name like La-Z-Boy. I have no quarrel with the Edmonton store. Their service manager has agreed to replace the foam in both seat cushions as a courtesy for a charge of $100. My complaint lies with the manufacturer, La-Z-Boy Inc. in Monroe, Michigan. I have spent literally hours waiting on their phone line to register my dissatisfaction. Their promises to phone me back and to give me an email address are worthless. They have given me a case number - **. If they bother to read this review maybe someone will get in touch. La-Z-Boy Inc. should realize that they are ruining the reputation of a brand name that used to be highly respected. All the efforts of their franchised stores to give good customer service are for nothing if the merchandise is shoddy and poor value. I will not be be buying this brand again.

    We purchased a sleep sofa in 11/15 expecting it to last many years, as our previous La-Z-Boy furniture has. Now, less than 3 years later, the center of the unit is sagging. This is not acceptable and is not just a matter of "fluffing" up the cushions. We contacted the repairman suggested by the store but he wants to charge for an evaluation visit. We don't intend to pay for that. Your thoughts/comments will be appreciated.

    We were told by Daisy ** when we were shopping for furniture at our local La-Z-Boy store 12/15/11 located on Woodruff Rd Greenville SC, all the reasons why we should go with the imitation leather (Renew). We were really looking for leather but she raved about how durable, how repairable, how it would hold up for years and years under normal use and there was a lifetime warranty that we should also get for those just in case situations. We were sold a major crock!! This material doesn’t hold up! As you already know, it peels and flakes under normal wear and tear and in our case, hardly being used. We had a major issue with the recliner within just a short time of owning the furniture.

    As others have posted online, we also were told it was my husband’s chemistry causing the breakdown of the material (nonsense). After much aggravation, upset, time and persistent pleading our case with everyone from the local store to the warranty people to anyone who would listen, the local store did give us a credit and we bought a real leather recliner with more money out of our pocket. Keep in mind we went shopping for real leather but were consistently directed to the "Renew" products.

    Laura ** was finally the one at the local store who took care of this for us. She no longer works for the store but I have the back of her card that she wrote the “ack” number and requested pictures of all 3 units that we had purchased (recliner, couch and loveseat). We asked what we should do when our sofa and loveseat also flaked and peeled. She said we’d have to deal with it at that time. Hopefully she asked for the photos to keep on file for future reference. (Unfortunately it was just a put off so that we would be left where we are - a beautiful formal living room reserved for special occasions and embarrassing flaking furniture and now saying we had the furniture too long. Honestly sat on this stuff no more than 10 times).

    That time has come. This is furniture that is in our formal living room and is rarely used. We only use this room for holidays or special occasions so not sure how long the process has been going on with the material breaking down. Lifetime warranty as you know, will not take care of it since it is a material failure not a puncture, stain, etc. We did business with La-Z-Boy because we trusted the name and the brand but our last customer service experience regarding the recliner soured us on the name but was saved by Laura **. Not this time!

    After again many weeks of contacting everyone possible, submitting and resubmitting everything asked for, I get an email today saying the best the local store can do, Tina **, is a 20% discount on a purchase. Goodness, I can do better than that on a "sale". We trusted the product that La-Z-Boy directed us to and what we thought their name stood for. Nothing but aggravation and time since we bought this inferior product. So disappointed in the La-Z-Boy brand and what it stands for.

    A short time after we took possession of the La-Z-Boy furniture. I noticed the furniture started to look shabby. Just after a year the couch no longer reclines. When I called La-Z-Boy Furniture customer service they told me I would have to call another second company because I was no longer under warranty. If I wanted them to fix it it would be $109. And I needed to pay them ahead of time. With no guarantee they would fix it. If you're looking at these people steer clear. Their furniture is poor quality and they make it hard to get things fixed.

    We’ve had La-Z-Boy furniture for 17 years and we’ve recently bought a recliner, a sofa, and some accessories from them. We became empty nesters four years ago. The La-Z-Boy recliner couches we had, had survived both our boys through the teenage years, plus all their buddies and so now it was time to redo the house, so we decided it was time for new furniture.

    The lady that we dealt with was Catherine at the Chico store and she was wonderful. Then, we dealt with a couple of the guys, but Catherine was the primary. They were all really helpful, very personable and made the whole process simple. We had our purchase delivered, unfortunately, some of it was not custom but had to be built, so it went extended. Plus, when we purchased our furniture it was coming into Christmas and New Year, so it ended up getting extended for a couple of weeks, but that was expected.

    Everything was great. We did have to have a comfort care, a guy came out to the house and repaired the couch just a little on the front area. One of the end tables that we purchased couldn't be repaired and had to be sent back. It was replaced with a brand-new table. They were very understanding, professional. When the issues were brought to their attention they didn't hum or haw about it. They just went ahead and did the right thing, so I was very happy with it. We recommend them.

    I've had my first La-Z-Boy recliner since 1998 and it’s still intact. It looks like a showroom piece and it’s not even frazzy. I bought another one for my husband last year and just bought furniture from La-Z-Boy the other day too. Their reps were very knowledgeable, nice and patient with my husband and his decision-making, and giving him ideas ‘cause he was all over the place. A delivery was scheduled and their team helped my husband set up the rug and move the old furniture out of the way then place the new furniture in their place. It was good that they made sure he was happy with the placement of everything. We got the stuff on sale but the quality was good. Good craftsmanship.

    I've recently purchased an ottoman, recliner, and a sofa from La-Z-Boy and I think they are of good quality. My furniture was really old and my couch was starting to stink. I'm also having some work done in my house and I thought to just bite the bullet and buy new furniture. The sales representative was very helpful. I'm also getting a rug from La-Z-Boy and I didn't know about the foam mattress like Tempur-Pedic beds and he told me about that which was really good because I have problems with my knees. It just was a very nice experience. I had the furniture delivered and it is coming this Saturday.

    I recently purchased a recliner and accessories from La-Z-Boy. Their sales representative was patient with us. He told us not to worry about the colors as we could always get those. Instead, he said that we should get what's comfortable for us. He let us on our own when we wanted and when we needed him, we would call him. The quality of the furniture we got was very good.     We had a big La-Z-Boy purchase back in 2014. Then, when our couch needed a replacement, we bought again from La-Z-Boy. We got two sofas and two ottomans. We came to the Canton store where we had been at Novi before and Ashley had been our sales rep in Novi but now she's the manager. She remembered us and she was great. Also, the designer was fabulous and we really enjoyed her. The delivery was awesome too and the guys who came were great and very professional, as well.     My sister-in-law bought a La-Z-Boy Reclina-Rocker in November 2016. It was uncomfortable. She gave it to me a week ago (July 14, 2017.) I found it uncomfortable, too. I went to the La-Z-Boy store in the Sawgrass Mills Center in Sunrise, FL, to see if there was a way to change the pitch of the seat. The manager, Beth, gave me the phone number of the service department. My sister-in-law faxed the warranty to me. I called the service department and was told there was no way to adjust the pitch of the seat and that I should go back to the store, sit in the same model, and see if there is a difference.

    The idea is to determine if there is a manufacturing defect. That made sense. What didn't make sense is that there would be a $109 charge for a technician to come to my home to make any necessary adjustments. The customer service rep said the "lifetime warranty" was only good for the original purchaser in their home. This product is seven months old and uncomfortable. I was given this product because it was uncomfortable and I will not spend a nickel for a service call on an almost brand new product.

    I had some regular, deep, wide chairs in our den where my wife and I spend a lot of time. And we decided that it was a little too low, and it wasn’t doing what we wanted. We’ve had three La-Z-Boys before that, in the last 35 years, and we had passed them on to our kids. One of them is up at our cottage in Northern Michigan. So, we thought of buying new furniture because it’s always been more comfortable. Then we got rid of the other big chairs. The La-Z-Boy sales rep was outstanding, patient, personable, very real and was not on commission. She didn’t push us one way or the other. And if she was on commission, I sure as hell didn’t know it. It’s pretty obvious in furniture stores when someone is in that. That’s important to me because I just wanted to take my time and find the right thing, and she not only regularly looked into inventory to see whether she could find it somewhere else, but she really did her homework in taking care of us.

    We bought two recliners, a power recliner and another with the handle. The two guys that did the delivery were intelligent, articulate, polite and very professional. They put their shoe protectors over their feet. They laughed, they smiled. It was nice. The quality of the products is outstanding and I absolutely love it. But I misjudged how quickly I get in and out of the previous La-Z-Boys and so, the electric movement is a little slower than I would like. I wouldn’t do it again. I wish there was an override, that there was still a handle on the side where I could exit as quickly as I want. But can also do it electronically. So, there are a million different choices for every speck of an inch that you move. I get that you can’t get that infinite variability on the handle, but I would love to be able to just eject from the seat immediately. But, the cost of their products is fair.

    I love La-Z-Boy. It’s one of the best companies in America, and the product and all that. It’s my fault I didn’t do my homework on the electric. I understand why it can't go fast. The lady was very point blank. She goes, “To be honest, it can’t go too fast ‘cause we don’t want people almost ejected from their seats.” A lot of older people use the electric. Well, in 10, 15 years, I’m going to really appreciate that.

    Tired of what I had in the family room, I purchased a queen sleeper sofa and loveseat from La-Z-Boy. Then a couple of weeks later, I purchased a lowboy recliner. Tiffany, their sales representative, was very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful even if she’s fairly new in the position. Their delivery team arrived on time and everything was lovely. The furniture’s quality was fine the last time, so it would be fine this time also. Plus, some of the items were on sale and the sales price was fine as well. The La-Z-Boy store is close by, and when I ordered the lowboy recliner, I picked a coordinating fabric that also matched, and I was able to look at the fabrics. You could look at things on the computer, but it's not exactly the same. Overall, it has been a very good experience.

    In April 2014 we bought 2 recliners. The sales person kept mentioning the "additional 5-year warranty" and made it sound like the whole chair was covered not just the fabric. It's listed on the receipt as "5-yr Advantage Chair". Later in October 2014 we already had badly deflated chairs. All of the cushions were flat. They sent out service at no cost, but they didn't even have enough foam and reused foam that looked dirty. The guy said it was discolored not dirty. They only brought out enough for one of two chairs.

    Today in 2017. Just 3 years after purchase the mechanisms are sticking. It's very hard to put the foot up and fully recline the chair. The seat foam is so thin it's like sitting on boards again. You can feel the wood frame. The foam on the other parts of the chair are visibly flattened. I called La-Z-Boy twice to ask about warranty service. I was quoted 2 different hourly rates $50 per hour and $75 for the first hour and $50 each additional hour for warranty service. We were informed the warranty we bought was fabric only. The so called lifetime warranty does not exist. It's for the mechanism only. Not for labor, foam, or anything else. They wanted $50 per section to bring out 1" foam for the seat. That would make getting the seat cushions on 2 chairs a minimum of $150-$175.

    Last time the guy was here for about an hour and a half so probably $200-$225. Plus more if they need to use more foam. Most likely, just to get 2 chairs half way fixed for a couple years again. That is not customer service nor is it a lifetime warranty. They are dishonest and misleading when selling the add on warranty we bought and can't even decide how much they are going to gouge us for labor. $50 for 1" seat foam is highway robbery.

    When I purchased this performance fabric sectional I was told it is easy to clean as I have dogs. Well I added another loveseat to my sectional a year later and the "older" pieces after washing it with water and a mild soap have zero shine left. I paid $3000 for this, and it is the most I have ever spent on furniture. I'm a little disappointed. How do I get the sheen look back? It's a James sectional with steel colored fabric.

    We bought our couch in July 2016 and it was delivered to us in September of 2016. Not even a month later, we had to have someone come back and fix it because part of the couch was not installed properly (We bought a sofa with recliners on the ends). A few months later, had to have someone come out again, because the seat started leaning again. A tech came out, didn't even look at the couch, but just took my husband for his word and ordered parts that he thought was needed to fix the problem. It took about 4 weeks to get that part, and another 2 weeks for a tech to come back out to replace/fix our couch again. Not sure what the guy did, but not only is the seat broke again (leaning), but it no longer reclines. It's broken. To top that off, the OTHER reclining side is starting to lean sideways.

    We called for a tech to come out AGAIN, and it’s been 2 weeks. I just got a call stating that they needed to push it back another 2 weeks. Unacceptable. I paid a decent amount for this sofa. We invested a lot of time and money to find the best one for us, and we expected it would have the excellent craftsmanship as La-Z-Boy is known for. We are incredibly disappointed in the fact that our sofa is not quite a year old yet, and we are having to have it repaired over and over again, implying that the craftsmanship is not quite what we thought it was. This sofa should last 10+ years and it seems that what we are getting for our investment, is nothing close. As of now, I would not recommend purchasing furniture from this company. They are not what they used to be. Low quality build, plus 3rd party warranty service? Not worth the money.

    I live in a senior facility and I told my neighbor I was going to get some furniture and she told me to go to La-Z-Boy. I told her they seem kind of expensive but she said that it's worth it. I had pretty much in mind what I wanted and the rep helped me find it. I got it and I'm happy. I got a coffee table they were selling off the floor and it has a few scratches on it, but I knew that before I bought it. And everybody that’s come to my place thought it looks beautiful. There was also a rocker there that I had to buy because it was named Jasper. The delivery was fine and everything worked out good. The delivery guys showed up ahead of time, which was cool. The quality of the items I got seems fine and I don’t object to what we paid for. It was actually under the budget that I was anticipating so everything’s good.     Our old couch was broken so we decided to buy a loveseat from La-Z-Boy. We bought it on sale and the price was really good for what we got. We went in knowing what we wanted, but it was harder to pick the fabric rather than the couch. Their fabric selection was way more than necessary it was kind of an overload. However, we found what we were looking for which is something that will survive people, pets, and everything else. Their reps were fine but the girl that did the final order was a bit slow. I think she was new so I understood. We then had the piece delivered. We ordered it on Saturday and when they called us they told us that it was going to take three weeks. However, a few days later they called again and told us that the unit could be delivered the next day. We weren't prepared but it's good that it came early since we had all these plans of redecorating our living room.

    The delivery team was quick and they moved the old set out and put the new set in where we asked. However, it was explained to us that they were going to go over everything and explain everything but all they told us was to fit it and make sure it works. I asked them if they were not going to show me how it works and they just told me to hit the bottom and that was it. The quality is nice and we like it. It is a hair magnet though. There's always hair all over but that's part of having animals.

    My grandfather and father both have their La-Z-Boy recliners. I grew up with it and it was the best chairs in the world, and I had to get my own eventually when I finally became an adult. La-Z-Boy's sales representatives were very good to the extent that I knew what I was looking for. They certainly did not pressure me for anything, but they were certainly open to providing suggestions based on the feedback that I was giving them for what I was looking for. The cost was certainly good. I wouldn't have bought it with the original price but the fact that it was on sale, certainly got me to finalize the deal.

    The delivery team was okay. I understand it's hot but they reeked of body odor. Other than that and Febrezing the recliners to remove that smell, delivery was perfectly fine. It took next to no time at all for them to bring both in, get them placed in, and were back out. I'm happy with the quality of the furniture and I doubt that these recliners are going to fail anytime soon. But should they, decades down the road, I certainly know why I'm coming back. Overall, I'm certainly pleased.

    My old La-Z-Boy had one major bar broken and it was sticking out so it was time to let it go. It was 20 years old but the material was still perfect. I went to a new store and I wasn’t impressed. They weren’t knowledgeable nor efficient and it took a lot of time. I understand that it takes somebody some time to know these items but everything was, “Let me look it up.” The manager didn’t even know as much as the salesperson did. And I didn’t feel that they were glad that I was there to buy something. It was not a great experience, but I bought a recliner rocker because I needed a chair. The two guys that delivered the chair were quick, efficient and friendly. It took them no time to set it up. They checked it and were on their way. However, they didn’t make the offer to make adjustments but the time and notification were very good.

    The overall quality is okay. The chair is a power chair and it throws me back too far when I sit on it to the point where my legs won’t touch the floor. So I went online to figure out if it could be changed. They had videos for non-power chairs which showed how they changed that but I couldn’t figure it out for the power chair so I stepped back into the store.

    It was a different person but she was obviously very new and took me a while to get to the point and ask if there was someone she can call or I can call who can adjust this chair. It's not comfortable to me the way it is. She got a business card and said, "You can call his number and they’ll come out.” They’re supposed to come out this Saturday. For the price I paid for this chair, the service is not a big point. Going online to La-Z-Boy is not easy as well. For something I'm going to spend money on, somebody should have more professionalism than they had in that store. I’m disappointed.

We were very pleased with the delivery team as well. The furniture came in different parts. Two recliners came one time, the TV stand another and today the end table is coming. The quality is very nice. We bought the upper-end stuff and got a lot of compliments on it. We’re happy with the money we spent for it plus the quality. It's not every room we would probably want to spend that much money but it's a special room my wife and I set up ourselves and we wanted something nice for it.     We purchased a La-Z-Boy Power Recliner sofa Nov 10, 2016. We were very happy with the service that we received at the Annapolis MD La-Z-Boy store. Initially we were very satisfied with the comfort and style of the sofa but in the past few months the seat fabric is showing signs of accelerated wear and bunching up. My wife and I live here by ourselves and we do not have any pets. This amount of degradation is totally unacceptable.

    A La-Z Boy technician came to our home to look at the situation and told us that there was definitely a problem. We told him that we wanted a replacement sofa with a different fabric and he said he would take care of it. When we called La-Z Boy consumer care a week later they told us that they will just replace one seat and that we could just "tuck in" the sagging on the other seat. This accelerated wear is a problem with the fabric used on this sofa and replacing one seat will just postpone the inevitable.

    We discussed this with the manager of the Annapolis store where we purchased the sofa and showed him the pictures. He agreed that La-Z Boy should issue us a credit for a new sofa but customer care is still refusing. We bought this sofa to replace a La-Z Boy sofa and love seat that we had for about 15 years. The 15 year old sofa and love seat were showing less wear when we retired them than this new sofa is after 9 months. This is pretty bad considering that we brought up our two children during much of that 15 year period. La-Z Boy's response has been totally unacceptable on the issue of this fabric wear. The only acceptable action will be for La-Z Boy to provide a new replacement sofa with a more durable fabric.

    I’ve been buying La-Z-Boy products for 20 years. We’ve had a complaint with them when the chair wasn’t quite as cushioned as we thought it should have been. And they immediately came out and replaced the cushions in it. Now recently, our sofa was getting a little beat up, so we decided to get a new La-Z-Boy sofa. Women get tired of looking at the same thing, and they want something new and different, so we got something new and different. It's not the highest price you can buy, but from a value standpoint, it satisfies me very well. You get good value for the dollar that you spend at La-Z-Boy.

    I was favorably impressed with the La-Z-Boy sales reps. They were knowledgeable, polite, friendly, and seemed competent. We had our purchase delivered and the two guys that did the delivery were very friendly, clean-shaven, nice looking guys. Both of them were very articulate, obviously competent and showed up right on time. La-Z-Boy has good stuff in our price range, and we've had good experience with them. It has always been very satisfactory. I'm a value-conscious person, and I feel like I've got my money’s worth every time I've bought from La-Z-Boy.

    I'm really disappointed at the level of service from La-Z-Boy. My husband and I were really excited to finally purchase furniture for our new home. In fact, we waited an entire year to furnish our home. We reviewed online stores like Wayfair and neighborhood shops like Ashley Furniture. The place that we hadn't checked out yet was La-Z-Boy. Initially, we had a great experience. Our interior designer and the associates were very helpful. In fact, we raved to friends who recently purchased homes about our experience.

    However, there have been two hiccups that have really changed my perception of La-Z-Boy customer service/reputation. As of right now, I am frustrated with the services. Our couch was delivered today. Unfortunately, we had to deny it because it was soaking wet. After calling the store we were told we would have to wait until the end of the month to get a new couch. We were expecting friends and family this week and now we have to wait a few more weeks to get a "staple" piece of furniture for our living room.

    Another part of this purchasing experience that left us disheartened was when we called the store within the 3 days to change the fabric of our chairs and we were then told that we could not change the fabric / alter the order. I am really disappointed that I started this journey and now I'm concerned that I didn't make the right decision by investing in your brand.

    I had moved and was getting new furniture but I couldn't find the style I wanted anywhere. I tried all the furniture stores then I went into La-Z-Boy and there it was right in front of me. I dealt with a few sales reps and they were all very nice. They were very willing to take the time to explain everything about the company to me. When I went home, I wanted to check online because I have never bought anything from La-Z-Boy. And they got really great ratings from the Better Business Bureau so I was psyched about that. I was also happy that there was a sale going on at that time and I saved on the furniture. Their delivery team was also very good, nice and professional.

    Everything about my purchase was wonderful and I was very happy with it. I'd recommend La-Z-Boy 100%. It's a great place to shop because there's no pressure from the employees and they're all very knowledgeable. I knew they made the chair but I didn't realize they had such nice furniture. I love the one I got and so does everyone who comes over. I also liked that La-Z-Boy's products are made in the USA.

    I was pregnant and having a hard time sleeping. I didn’t want a La-Z-Boy and don’t like the look of them because they look like an old grandpa chair, but I’ve sat in other people’s chairs so I knew it would be comfortable and my family members have had several of types of La-Z-Boy chairs. Their sales reps were really thorough. They did a good job, and helped me find the right one. I had my baby a couple weeks early, so our timing was off a little bit and I was in the hospital when the chair was delivered. I use the chair every day and it's good. It’s really expensive, but there is a guarantee so I’m sure that if something happens to it then they’ll replace it. That’s what they were telling us, that they’ll take care ...of me as long as I have it and that’s worth it. It was a great experience.

    My other furniture was old and it's time for some new ones so I purchased a sectional and an Ottoman from La-Z-Boy. The sales reps were very helpful and very kind. I came in several times when I was deciding and they were very patient through the whole process. The designer, Samantha, was also super helpful and patient with me. I kept changing my mind but in the end, I felt like she helped me really pick something that's for me. It was amazing and I really liked her. Then when the furniture was delivered, the crew did a very good job. So far, I've enjoyed the quality of the furniture and it seems to be working out well for me. But the items were expensive and it would have been nice to have them cheaper. The cost was also more than I had set out to pay but I like the furniture and it was a good experience.

    I am very satisfied with our recliner except for one thing. The color rubbed off onto a white man made fiber sweater. "Shout" took the color off the sweater, but I am concerned that it my rub off onto some article of my clothing that is not washable. Is there anything that can be done to eliminate this problem?

    I've used La-Z-Boys most of my adult life and the quality is absolutely the finest. In fact, I have one in the basement that’s 30 years old and it's the most comfortable chair I've ever had. But unfortunately, it's the big man size. I'm remodeling the basement into additional bedrooms and it broke my heart because it's too small of an area to keep it, so I have to give it to my sister. With my recent La-Z-Boy purchase, the sales reps were fantastic. The designer, Gail, and the salesperson helped me several times. I had no problem at all. The delivery was later than I had hoped but that goes with the turf so I understand.

    We had a good experience purchasing a sofa and recliners from La-Z-Boy. They had many different choices like patterns, colors and styles that were available to us. The rep had a lot of ideas about colors and she presented them on her computer. She also showed us samples. She did measurements for us and encouraged us to sit and lie down on the sofa. We had our furniture delivered and the delivery crew did it correctly. They wrapped everything in tarp, took off the tarp and put the furniture where we wanted.     We were moving to a new house and needed more pieces of furniture. I purchased from La-Z-Boy for their quality, and the interactions I had with the reps were positive. They did their job and everything was as expected during delivery. However, the furniture is not as comfortable now. When I tried it at the shop for a few minutes, it felt more comfortable than trying to sit on it all day. It's a little slippery and it's hard to stay upright on it because it forces you into a lazy position. Maybe it's by design, but I don't find it the most comfortable now that I have it. But other than that, La-Z-Boy had decent service and the experience was good.

    We originally bought two leather recliners on May 25, 2017. Both were damaged when delivered. A service call was scheduled with unsatisfactory results. Since it was a discontinued leather color, we had to return to the store to choose something different. (For this we got $30 off the price of a side table.) The chairs were then delivered on July 7, 2017. One was damaged when delivered. The salesman and store manager were notified within one hour.

    A new chair was scheduled for delivery on July 13, 2015. As we did not get a call regarding a possible time, I called the store only to find out the chair would not be delivered. It has been ordered and should be at the warehouse July 21, 2017. No one told me about this development. So, now, we are waiting for a fourth (plus one service call) for a delivery to be scheduled. We have bought La-Z-Boy furniture for more than 20 years. Based on this experience we would not recommend this store or La-Z-Boy furniture.

    To say that my husband and I are dissatisfied with the products that we purchased from La-Z-Boy is an understatement. We are also completely appalled by customer service we have received. My husband and I purchased a couch and loveseat which was delivered in January. Within a month the fabric has completely piled (balled) everywhere. It looks as though the couch is 10 years old when in fact it is only six months old. My husband and I thought we were buying a couch that would last years and instead have a couch that looks worn and tattered after only a few months.

    Customer service has done nothing but give us the runaround in trying to have something done to rectify what obviously is a defect in the fabric. This fabric should never be an option to upholster a couch if it piles and balls after a one month period. I was basically told by a customer service representative that they send someone out to "fix" or shave the couch and then send pictures to the factory who will then say that it is not a defect in the fabric and that is that.

    So I have wasted all my time and energy in dealing with this all the while being given false hope that a reputable company such as La-Z-Boy would actually do something to rectify what is obviously a defect in the fabric and instead it appears as though nothing is going to be done to fix this problem despite paying over $7,000 for a couch and loveseat. We are beyond disgusted with this company and will never purchase from them again nor would we recommend them to anyone.

    Prior to this one, I had a similar La-Z-Boy for about 20 years, it served me quite well. I would rate that one at a "10". With this one I was slightly displeased with the quality. On the right armrest there is a "divot" on the top, as if something was laid across, causing a small depression, not major, but slightly irritating. The woodwork on the back base has an unfinished feel, as if it was never sanded before it was stained. On the plus side the leather work is excellent and it's very comfortable. I hope this lasts as long as my last One!

    Customer service fine, but not happy with product. All very well to sit in the chair for 5 minutes in the store, but after a few nights on this chair, it has been shoved into the corner for visitor use only. Cost a small fortune, but the cushioning wasn't enough for my 'delicate' posterior and I could feel the stitching on the seat back after a while. I wouldn't recommend products to anyone.

    I've had La-Z-Boy furniture in my home for 25 years and because my other furniture were worn out, I purchased new ones from them. I got a recliner, sofa, loveseat, a couple of lamps and a couple of tables. My sales representatives were very pleasant but I would have liked them to follow up better and be a little bit more detail-oriented. I had to call them back several times rather than them keeping track of details in calling me. Also, I initially ordered a custom couch and it came broken. It took quite a bit of time and effort to get it replaced. That was the first time that I've had a problem with quality with La-Z-Boy. But the quality of the stuff I have now is fine and I'm happy.

    We moved to a new home four years ago, and we just had to buy new furniture. I had a very good experience with the reps from La-Z-Boy. We went with the designer because we were specifically looking for colors to match. They were very friendly and cooperative and they knew what they're doing. But when they brought the stuff over, everything was messed up. The padding was longer than the carpet and they wouldn't cut the padding. Then one of the chairs was not aligned and it was shaky. They also forgot to bring the lifter for the sofas and it was not connected. Each one of them had an issue that I had to reject it the first time around. They were supposed to do the quality check at the warehouse.

    When I called the store, the rep told me to reject it and that she's going to come with the delivery team and make sure everything is checked. The second time they came in, they did the quality check and everything was perfect. They actually laid it out and the rep actually assisted a lot to keep things straight and up. She was there from the beginning of the purchase until they put them out there and install them. I appreciate her help and assistance. Overall, we love the quality of the furniture. It's more on the expensive side and maybe the prices could have been a little bit brought down but we bought a lot of furniture for the family room so I cannot complain. They've been very good, courteous, friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend La-Z-Boy.

    I was refurnishing and I've been looking for a chair. I tried one out in the store and I asked if there was a La-Z-Boy Gallery closer to my home. They looked online and said there wasn’t. I just came to this area and it said there's La-Z-Boy Gallery on it. I was in Appleton shopping and I was really excited when I first saw the chair. I wanted it but I didn’t want to spend much on it. I went out to my car and my lovely sister said, “You’ve been looking for one. This is what you want. You’ll be sorry if you don’t get it now.” And so I went back and bought it. I kept telling the reps that it’s exactly what I was looking for and the size was what I wanted. It was a swivel rocker and I could get it done in a really pretty material.

    I wanted a special fabric and that cost me another $100. They told me it would take six to eight weeks to get the chair as I was having different upholstery done. Then they called me when it was ready and set up a delivery date. Then the delivery team came. I assumed that I was getting the chair, but then it was a rocker and it wasn’t what I ordered. I told the delivery and they looked at the order form and I said that I understood that was what I was ordering. That’s my mistake as I didn’t know it had to be explicit on this order form. I said I didn’t want to keep it as I didn’t want to be stuck with it if it’s not what I wanted and then I have a hassle trying to make it right.

    The delivery guy called somebody and he said the store was closed. If I would just keep the chair, then he could get a new base and have someone come out and install it, or I could do it myself. He showed me what has to be done, told me it was a simple procedure so I should keep the chair. And so I did that, and he said someone would call me, but no one did. I contacted the store and told them about it. They said that the base will be a $175 extra amount of money and that they would have to order it. I explained to them that it’s not right and then they said they would absorb the cost of ordering it and have someone come out and put in on. I really appreciated that.

    That was June 15th and I didn’t hear anything from the store for a long time so I called Friday and the store manager wouldn’t be in until Monday. I called Monday afternoon and I couldn’t get through to the store so I pressed the button for customer service again and I explained to them. They called the store and the store said that they had it, it would be delivered to the store, and the service department would have someone call me to set up a time to have it installed. And so I got a callback yesterday and it won’t be until August 17.

    Then I was surprised that the workmanship of the bottom’s like as if I bought a less expensive piece of furniture. The chair’s over $1000 and when I tipped it over, the fabric’s just been cut, stapled, and it’s not even folded over so it’s a ragged edge there. I thought if I’m spending this much, I’d like it to be more finished and looked like someone took time to have pride in it. It’s been a real hectic time in my life so I just got tired of dealing with it. I also thought that I’m gonna be able to get it on sale. They told me since I was having custom upholstery done, they’d have to put it back up to the original price and they would give me the discount. Also, it seemed like it's a long process to get what I wanted. I was disappointed because I always thought La-Z-Boy was top-notch but I just figured I’m stuck with a chair.

    But I love the comfort and the way the chair operates. I’m glad I ordered it. The fabric’s exactly what it was represented to be and I’ve always wanted a La-Z-Boy. I’m really happy with the product and I’ll be super happy when the bottom is a swivel rocker. Everybody was really nice and pleasant, and my best experiences were with the service department so far. They seemed like they’re the most anxious to make things right and they’re on top.

    Our rating from buy to deliver was all one could ask of a five star experience. Sales representative, sales manager, and delivery personnel were all kind, courteous, and considerate. After delivery we realized that the wrinkled and rippled leather material didn't fit the frames correctly and didn't seemed to be cut correctly. We called for service and within a few weeks a technician arrived to assess the issues and order new fabric. A few weeks later the technician returned with a new leather cover and after an hour of tugging and stretching he admitted that it was still not correct. So here I sit waiting for another skin to arrive. The final analysis is this; no matter how good the store, delivery, and customer service staff is, they can't overcome poor quality production and sloppy quality control. Maybe the next customer service visit will change my opinion.

    Power Recliner (SKU 899020; stock #P10705; Fabric B142025). - Purchased this recliner for my mom who is in a nursing home. She loves the chair and is very comfortable in it. My only problem is that the cord for the chair is simply not long enough. The facility my mom is in prohibits extension cords and power strips. With limited access to outlets, the chair has to be plugged in with the cord and box running under her bed. Staff continually moves the chair, unplugging the chair from the box. I spent a lot of money on this chair to make my mom's life a bit more comfy, but with the setup and restrictions by the nursing home it simply boils down to the fact that I could easily use a 16- or 20-ft. cord in order to keep her chair plugged in, and to make her comfy in her room (this is not a private room... but she currently does not have a roommate). She is in a wheelchair most of the time - so clearly the recliner is far more comfortable for her.

    Aside from that - the sales person at the store I purchased from was so nice and understanding and helpful. The delivery of this chair was handled nicely by the store personnel. I am just sad that her ability to use the recliner portion is extremely limited because of the length of the cord vs. the other options for chair placement. I am pretty sure I am not the only one who could benefit from that chair having a far longer cord...so perhaps you could consider special cords for circumstances like this. Thanks for your time... and I did contact customer service with my suggestion for longer cords but never received a response.

    I love the chair...but. First of all, the sales person said they would take the old chair out and put it on the sidewalk. That didn't happen. I am 80 and could not move the old chair myself. Second... The chair arrived with a sweek so they sent a wonderful young man to fix it, he did that by finding a broken screw somewhere on the bottom of the chair. No way could I have found that on delivery. Third... Seeing small pieces of wood on the floor he tried the recliner, it did not work properly, I have no way of knowing that as this is the first La-Z-Boy I ever owned, took posession of it on Thurs. and left for my summer house on Fri. and came home on the day he was coming to fix the sweek. In order for him to find the problem he had to take the whole left arm off. I guess I was expected to do that on delivery also.

    I will probably never buy another product from you, as you seem to turn your problems into my problem. I do need one more chair and a small love seat so think it best to look somewhere else. Your customer service was no help and just kept repeating the same thing over and over, "I own the chair, too bad for you". So much for made in USA. Your factory knew it was broken when they shipped it to me, it seems I shouldn't have to deal with it. Why is that.

    Reclining Sofa, Loveseat and Recliner - We purchased this La-Z-Boy set only after having another La-Z-Boy set for over 15 years. Our old set was in excellent condition and hardly showing signs of wear. Our 7 year old poked a hole in one of the cushions of the loveseat. No better reason than to get a new set! The delivery guys were great, too. They explained everything, how to take the recliner apart, how to put it inside and how it works. So far, nothing happened that I did not expect.     Purchased a "Harbour Town" recliner that was advertised as top quality leather. We bought it from a La-Z-Boy store in Nanaimo BC. Store personnel was extremely helpful and the chair was comfortable, we were happy with it. We had bought a La-Z-Boy recliner in the past and never had an issue. It was for that reason plus we are retirees and do not have kids in the home that we did not buy the extended warranty. Sure enough the chair that we paid over $1600.00 for is showing wear on the seams after only a year and a half! The only problem I had was with the people to get the La-Z-Boy Loan or Credit Card. They could not help me until after the sale in which I was able to purchase this recliner! They sent me a credit card weeks after I purchased the recliner with my own credit card, so there was NO INTEREST-FREE DEAL HERE! I think you need another credit card company and associates.

    It was my first time to purchase from La-Z-Boy and I had a good experience. I bought some recliners for the TV room, which is one of the rooms we use since our kids are gone and it’s just me and my husband. I knew what I wanted when I got in the store. The La-Z-Boy rep who helped me was very knowledgeable and has explained everything to me. She didn't try to get me to buy anything that I didn't want. She let me decide upon what I wanted to get. There was a chair that I was going to get, but I saw one cheaper. And unlike in some places you go, the rep didn't try to have me get the expensive one. She was very professional and she knew her job well.

    All the people in there were professional. However, when the rep was waiting on me, there was one guy who pulled her away. I noticed that he said something about wanting her to approve or sign something or do something on the computer. That was unprofessional to do and that could have waited until she's finished with her customer. I didn't make a big deal out of it though and it didn't stop the sales. It might have been a situation where he needed something done right away. Also, one thing that surprised and puzzled me with La-Z-Boy though is that when you make a purchase, they want you to pay half of it. Normally, when you buy furniture, the store would run your credit and if your credit is good, then you put a finance. That was the only thing that I had a question about. But I went on and paid that certain amount. I called back to the store to praise and thank the rep. The next time that I come back to the La-Z-Boy store, I will be asking for her.

    We scheduled the delivery and the team that came out was excellent. I showed them where they need to put the furniture and they would do it. I had one chair to come in the bedroom, and they brought it in the bedroom. They also showed me and my husband how the chairs worked. The La-Z-Boy furniture has good quality and cost. I got these chairs because of the cost, but I wish I had gotten more expensive chairs. Sometimes we go and then we look for the sale. The one we got was more of a popular chair and I regret not getting the one I picked. I don't have little kids running around, so therefore, I would get more wear out of it. I have another room that I'm going to have to do and I would go to La-Z-Boy to get a sleeper once I paid the recliners off.

    We've been shopping at La-Z-Boy for 20 years because of the quality and I can usually find the style that I want there. And then we moved into a new house and sold the old one with its furniture in it so we needed new furniture. The sales reps were very pleasant and helpful and the delivery team was great. But for some reason, they had missed their scheduling time by a couple of hours. It was around 8:30 at night by the time they got here and they set it up because it had to be plugged in.

    This power sofa has the lift up the recliner part, one button for up and one button for down. On both ends, it also has as a USB plug-in to charge my phone or my iPod. This is also the first time I've had one that plugged in so that better last a long time too. But I've got faith in La-Z-Boy. I love the quality and I have no qualms about it. I'd go in and buy a La-Z-Boy again if I ever need furniture. Also, it's a good cost to quality compared to other things that we looked at. My husband also has a swivel rocker recliner and he loves it. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I got what I wanted and when it was delivered, it turned to be exactly what it proposed to be.

    Overall we really like the furniture. One chair seems a bit "loose" or "sloppy" when reclined. It does not firmly "latch" and has about a 2 inch back and forth motion. The other chair, a rocker recliner, makes quite a "thunk" when the recliner is released, even when trying to be very gentle with it and sitting with weight to the back.

    The material had held up nicely on the sofa and chairs. We would buy them again, and my sister recently purchased a La-Z-Boy chair on our recommendation.

    The couch we previously had was wearing out and needed to be sent to the basement so we bought a sectional from La-Z-Boy. Their sales representative and the designer were great, very friendly and not pushy. The quality of the furniture is excellent. We love it and it's beautiful. It turned out better than I imagined. The cost was a bit of a sticker shock. It was more than we wanted to spend for this particular piece of furniture, but we're going to have it for a long time so the value is there.

    However, when we ordered the couch we were told that it was going to take 8 weeks to upholster and at the eight-week mark I had to call the store to find out what was going on. I was told that it was on a four-week delay because the accent material I had picked out for two of the four pillows was back ordered and out of stock. The pillows were associated with the middle piece of the sectional and they wouldn’t make it until they got the material for the coordinating throw pillow. So, it ended up taking an additional four weeks to deliver. The store gave us $200 off which covered the cost of the delivery. So, concessions were made, but that was bizarre and odd. I was afraid two of those four weeks that if they're not building that middle section of my couch, they're going to match the two ends. It's a sectional. But everything turned out fine. Overall, it was very pleasant and we ended up with a wonderful product. So, I'm very pleased.

    My old La-Z-Boy wore out so it was time to purchase a new one. It was my first time in the store that I went to and the showroom was nice. I ended up dealing with the manager. He was reasonable but wasn’t flexible on his pricing. I was not pleased with having to pay the fees to get it shipped to their business, and then, I picked it up myself. They didn’t have to deliver it. And that was my only bad experience. I had the first recliner for over 20 years. And this one doesn’t have the quality as the old one. I was going to call them to see if I could get more padding where your feet go because it’s right on the wood. The padding is not there. I wasn’t crazy about the cost but I wanted La-Z-Boy. If you want La-Z-Boy, you have to pay for it, which I did.

    I had hip replacement surgery two weeks ago and that’s one reason why I got the recliner from La-Z-Boy. When I was there looking at the recliner, I decided to look at sofas too. I got one and it’s fine as well. They were delivered together and they contacted me when my purchase was here. They carried out my old sofa and put it in the dumpster which was a big help to me. I’m very happy with the products so far and I’m a very satisfied customer.

    I have owned four La-z-boys since 1972. Had only 1 problem, which was fixed free. January 2014, we purchased 2 La-z-boys. One of them is a loveseat with console. We had it fixed twice. The second time we were told that if it happened again, we would get a new chair. It happened again. We were told the only way we could get it fixed, would be for us to pay half. We were told that you were no longer doing business with that company. This is why we will no longer be doing business with La-Z-Boy. We are also, telling everyone about La-Z-Boy.

    Sales people, designer, delivery people and customer service were all very personable, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. Slight problem with one of the pieces when delivered and we had no problem ordering a new one and replacing it. Designer came to house to take pictures and measurements then laid it all out on the computer for us. Maybe try some different lamps or tables... Few mouse clicks and she had a new look for us. Loved the help and visualization. Would deal with them again and recommend them highly.

    This company is the worst on the planet... Ordered high end couch leather chair back before Thanksgiving. Problem with the chair. No padding and they sent tech out to repair. Leather torn. So we ordered a new chair. Finally arrived today. Wife had many conversations with Justin at the Bel Air store about making sure they picked up the old one. Well guess what... No paperwork to pick it up. So here we are stuck with another chair until they can get their ** together to pick it up. They owe us about 350.00 bucks. I have half a mind to leave it out by the curb and eat the 350!!!... I guess I need to buy domain www.lazyboysucks.com if it's not already taken. I've done it before... It's actually pretty cheap. ** Justin at Bel Air!!!!... I'm going to trash you guys whenever/wherever I can!!!!

    We had a love seat La-Z-Boy 25 years ago. It lasted that long and now we changed our style from country to modern. We just purchased a new house, moved and bought many pieces from La-Z-Boy. I got some pieces on sale so I got a good deal. The sales reps were great and very helpful. I dealt with several of them including the manager and I'm very pleased. Eileen, the designer, was fabulous and great. She helped me and told me how the design was. We didn’t close till May so we just kept buying and adding pieces. I bought lamps, mirrors and the console for the foyer. However, they didn't have a sleeper that’s long enough for my son so we went to Macy's and got a queen size sleeper. That's the only one I didn’t buy from La-Z-Boy.

    However, they only deliver once a month to where we moved, so I had to wait from May, when we moved, till June to get the items. Their delivery people were really nice and the furniture were great except for the love seat which had a little scratch. They’re taking care of it tomorrow. All in all, it was an excellent experience with La-Z-Boy.

    I've had La-Z-Boy furniture all of my adult life. My other La-Z-Boy furniture was 20 years old and there was nothing wrong with them but I wanted to go with a different color. So I decided it was time to replace them and purchased a sofa, loveseat, recliners, end tables, coffee tables, ottomans and bedroom furniture from La-Z-Boy. I love my new furniture and it will probably last for the rest of my lifetime. I really had a good experience with them and I feel like their reps go above and beyond the call of duty of just selling furniture. They treated me almost like their family and they were very efficient.

    I loved the sales rep that I ended up dealing with. Her name is Layne and she's on their West Flamingo office. She was so helpful. She's an interior designer and she came out to my house. The colors, the fabric and the things that I picked out were a little bit eccentric and she looked at everything and my house as well as my way of decorating. And she said that the things I had picked were really going to look nice together. She told me that I needed a little livelihood in this house and that I can't be clean all my life. I really appreciated her help and her expertise.

    I had a bad experience with a La-Z-Boy representative over at the Galleria mall and I decided I wouldn't go back there. I almost didn't buy La-Z-Boy again this time then I thought I love La-Z-Boy and I'm not going to let that one bad experience with that lady take me away from La-Z-Boy. That's when I went clear across town, from where I live, to this other La-Z-Boy place, and I met Layne. She took me under her wing and walked me through every step. She was there when the furniture was delivered. She was checking everything and making sure that any of my concerns were taken care of, even now.

    The delivery team was really good, very fast and efficient. They had a lot of deliveries on one day and I could tell that they were really working their butts off to try to get everything in and get them where Layne wanted them because they had 40 more deliveries to go. They're overworked and so was Layne. It was 2:30 in the afternoon and they haven't even had lunch. They were at my house and Layne wouldn't let them leave until everything was right on the spot. And they had to pick up my old furniture and take it away from me. They also had to take apart the old bed to put in the new one I bought from La-Z-Boy and that took them more time. The company didn't really give them extra time for that but they did a good job for me and still made me feel like my job was important and special. They stayed and did exactly what Layne told them to do.

    We have two Queen Anne chairs that are probably about 20 years old and it was time to replace them. I have heard from other people that La-Z-Boy will typically put you to a chair and I've shopped other furniture stores and never had anybody talk about that. They want to know what you like or what you're looking for. The sales reps at La-Z-Boy were very helpful and all of our interactions were exceptional. They seemed to really listen to what we're looking for and what our needs were, and gave great suggestions on the types of chairs to purchase as well.

    When we started talking about recliners, the salesperson immediately said there wasn't going to be a recliner that fits me and my husband, and started talking about how a chair for me and a chair for my husband would not be the same, so he helped find us chairs that would fit each of us and that's really what we were looking for because our sizes are so different. We sat on the chairs that we ordered and we were very pleased with the quality, but they didn't have the colors that we wanted. Although they are more expensive than other stores, we were willing to pay the higher price because of what we were looking for.

    It was an exceptional experience. There was no pressure and they even encouraged us to look around at other stores to get ideas and to be sure that we get what we're really looking for. They offered a designer to come out to our home, and although she didn't come out to our home, she did help us make choices in colors which was very helpful. We were just pleased all the way around. About two weeks after we bought the chairs, I had a group of about 10 women over for lunch and showed them pictures of my chairs on my phone and told them all about my great experience. Then I come to find out two other women had just bought chairs from that La-Z-Boy store as well.

    We waited a long time to buy the La-Z-Boy chairs. We took our 50th anniversary money to buy them. The chair is horrible from pick up and I knew it since I sat in it. It's crooked that I'm sliding to the right. I tried to sit on the other side and I couldn't even stay there because it leans the other way and the whole seat in the bottom was crooked where it was lined up. And where the seat came down, it curled on one side and spread out on the other one. In addition, the fabric is cheap and it's already showing a lot of wear. The chair is a mess and I've only had it not even two months. Also, it does not have a warranty. I wasn't told there's one.

    I loved the ones in the showroom and I sat perfectly on it but that wasn't what I got. I didn't want to say anything and the lady there said they can send a new one. I have a feeling that they needed to get rid of the faulty one so they sent it to me. We got the chairs but I didn't call right away. But after a couple of weeks, I couldn't bear it anymore. I told my husband that I'm not keeping this piece of junk so I called and they said they'd send somebody to check it out.

    The man who's doing the inspections came and he said he could see the fault right away. He also hasn't seen "Inspected" at the back so, it's not inspected and he said that they can't send out chairs like that to customers. Then he said that my husband's chair is crooked, too and he showed me. He took pictures and said he'd send the information and I should hear two or three days after but it's been a couple of weeks that we haven't heard anything. We tried to contact them because we were away for a few days. We were leaving a message but we still didn't hear anything. The whole process was very wrong. I'm very frustrated and we felt very taken advantage of. La-Z-Boy is just up the street from us and it's a good name. We haven't even had new chairs for 20 years and we used everybody else's chairs. So we were happy to go get one for ourselves and the kids are excited, but we came up with this quality of the chair.

    I have had my Owen Reclina-rocker since 05-31-2014 and I love it! The chair is more comfortable today than it was when I bought it, because it has molded itself to my body. My only issue is the seating position is too low, so I use a two inch foam seat pad to get me in the perfect position. I guess the built in seat cushion has partially collapsed because I sit in my chair for 5+ hours everyday. The microfiber material is easy to clean from little spills, and doesn't stain. Other wannabe chairs don't compare to the quality of my La-Z-Boy, I am a LZB fan for life.

    The La-Z-Boy couch we had before was terrible and we weren't happy with it. It didn’t hold up and it didn’t meet the La-Z-Boy quality standards. When we called for service, they promised a lifetime warranty. And that’s a bunch of crap because, by the time we got the parts, they wanted to charge us a bunch of labor. Then they said they have people that'll do it, but they really don’t so we had to find our own people. I understood we had to pay for it but the issue was getting somebody that can reasonably do it for us and La-Z-Boy should have that. We got rid of the couch and we bought two new chairs from La-Z-Boy, which was kind of stupid of us, but we're hoping they hold up this time.

    The people that helped us were great and we like all of them. We went in twice. The first time, the girl was really nice and she got everything on the computer. Then we went back after we purchased the chairs and she wasn’t there, so we got this other lady who was really good. They all helped each other too. The delivery team was excellent as well. They did everything they should. So far, the chairs are good. The cost is a little high though but if they hold up, then it's worth it.

    Now, my sister bought a table to go in between the chairs for us. La-Z-Boy told us the phone charger thing was supposed to work, but it didn’t. Rather than returning it, we called. They were supposed to call us back with somebody that can come out and fix this thing but they still haven't. We're still waiting on that and it's been three weeks. I hope they get somebody to repair this table and I probably won't buy anything from them again if they don’t get this rectified. I told my husband we were stupid because we should've just taken it back and returned it but we didn’t want to mess with that. They assured us they could fix it. Now, here we sit. Maybe they’ll be here before the warranty’s done. They're average overall.

    We moved so we decided to buy new furniture. We like the prices of La-Z-Boy. Their sales rep was great, too because when I visited the La-Z-Boy in Seattle, Washington their reps there were more involved with talking to each other. So I had something picked out at Macy’s but my daughter said, “well, let’s just go and see if they have anything here." And then the sales rep was wonderful and the delivery team was great, too. They took the love seat upstairs and it's a narrow staircase so they did a great job. I like the style of the love seat and I don't regret buying it at all.

    We got insurance when we bought new furniture, wondered if we needed it. It took them months to get La-Z-Boy to give us a new couch. Lucky we got extra insurance. They fixed our side table and replaced the coffee table. The replacement lost its stretcher bars last night. It has chipped, scratched and it's less than a yr old. With the replacement couch they refused a guarantee, it took two months to see why.

    I bought this chair 6 yrs ago. I noticed the damage start at year 2, peeling, cracking. I was told the "guarantee" was only one year. The peeling increased and now have large areas of "balding". I complained to La-Z-Boy telling them they said they sold me leather, but that this is not leather and therefore does not fall under their guarantee, it is a misrepresentation of the goods I was told I was buying. I received two calls from La-Z-Boy who told me there was nothing they "can" do. The first time it was because it was outside of the one year window, and the second time it was because I should have said something within two weeks of noticing the leather defect. I corrected the caller and said there was nothing they "would" do.

    The sales reps at La-Z-Boy were helpful and made it pretty easy. Also, the delivery team was fine. One of the items I got is great but I've been having a bunch of problems with the other one. I called right after I got it even though it's out of the three days. I would have been much happier if they could have either offered me to return it or replace it rather than try to schedule for them to come out and look at. I've been trying to get one of the issues remediated and it has been hard because I've been out of town mostly. I tried to set up someone to come and look at it but I've not been available. Also, their availability was very limited. It's been like that for two months and I still have the same item with the same problem.

    I moved from Flint to Pennsylvania and I had an irregular, weird living room. I wanted to take advantage of the free decorator coming to my home so I purchased new furniture from La-Z-Boy. I bought some recliners and accessories with sale items that came to a little over $5,000 - $5,500. I dealt with Danielle and she was phenomenal. She was very good at what she did. She got her opinion across without being overbearing and asked what was important to me. She was very easy to work with and accommodated my vision.

    After that, I had to go into schedule delivery of the order but the lady that was helping with delivery was incompetent. It took 45 minutes for her to schedule the day and then, she scheduled it for the wrong day, which caused a big inconvenience in my personal life and my son-in-law’s life. I have put half money on my own credit card, and a half on the La-Z-Boy internal financing. She kept on trying to run it through as a credit card even though I told her it was the La-Z-Boy special financing interest-free.

    When I called the office to complain, the person named Steve was less than helpful. And then, the whole thing escalated even more because he told me that I couldn’t return the $1,000-dollar on-sale fixture that I had ordered from a little snapshot. He also said that I couldn't return the big area rug, the lamps and the little tables. He said they were all part of a special order. So he escalated the problem way beyond than what it needed to be escalated. Danielle had told me that I could return the fixture and the carpet if I didn’t like it because I was ordering it sight unseen. And I just accepted it because I’d had such a wonderful experience in Flint, Michigan with La-Z-Boy. I had ordered a big and a small La-Z-Boy that matched. And when they came in, my husband had just passed away, and they let me cancel his chair. And that was a special order.

    So, suddenly, this La-Z-Boy was giving me fits. Steve said that he was going to speak to Danielle. He led me to believe that he was the manager. Well, the manager I dealt with last week and today, named Jerry, said he is the overall manager and that he was going to look into it further and find out just who this man was that had spoken to me along those lines. We’ll see what he can find out because I just told Steve that I want to cancel the whole order and he said that it's fine but that I would lose my $2,500-deposit. I wasn’t very happy about that. I told him that it’s not like I’m dealing with Target. I’m coming to a reputable store so I can get customer service and quality merchandise. I’m not ordering junk.

    Finally, when the manager called me, he bent over backward because the order came in three different shipments. The last one would’ve been this fixture that’s 5ft by 3ft. He had it just delivered to the store then he personally delivered it to my house. I wouldn’t have to block off the whole day. He tried really hard to make it a little bit easier for the third delivery. He was very nice and apologized. He says he didn’t know where or who Steve was, or where Steve had gotten that information that I couldn’t return something. Nevertheless, I feel better about it now. Luckily, I liked the fixture and the carpet.

    I have found that the material is stretching already and that I will most likely have to have it reupholstered within the year. Also I have found that when using the electric mechanism there is a constant grinding noise. I am very disappointed as I thought I was paying the extra for a much better quality chairs. I would not recommend La-Z-Boy if you expect better quality merchandise.. Sales people however were some of the nicest we have found. So sad their merchandise did not live up to their standards.

    Our furniture was old and worn and the cats have scratched some of the chairs, so we decided we needed a new living room set. The quality of the furniture's fine. It wasn't cheap but it was reasonable. However, the sales experience wasn’t the greatest. We did more of the coordination of the furniture than the salesperson herself. I'm not sure how skilled she was at designing a fitting living room set, although she was very nice. I’m satisfied with the experience. It was pleasant.

    My wife and I visited the La-Z-Boy store in Novi, Michigan this a.m. We want you to know how disappointed we were with their marketing choices. We should tell you first that the reason that we went to La-Z-Boy was that we knew that it was an all American company. It didn't take us long, however, to find out that the 30% Off On Everything that was advertised had very small print attached to it excluding a good share of the sales floor inventory. One of the salesman had to remove the sales card from the holder to show us the small print that was covered up by the edge of the clear plastic frame.

    Next when we got involved with the pricing we found that even though the recliner was going to be ordered from the factory, as are all of La-Z-Boys products because they have no warehouse inventory, that we were going to be assessed $50.00 for change of color??? Next, we were advised that there would be a $100.00 (arbitrary???) delivery charge. Well, La-Z-Boy has certainly lost my wife and I as potential customers because of their deceptive and disreputable advertising and pricing practices. We left the store feeling that we just left Fast Eddy's. SHAME!!!

    We noticed a few days after recliner was delivered that it was crooked on its base. Called customer service and had to have new base ordered and replaced. Now have noticed back of recliner is uneven. Called customer service and new back ordered, we are waiting for this to be repaired. We are wondering what is next after the back is repaired. The customer service agent is very nice, however we have only had the recliner a few months.

    I bought a sofa, some recliners, pillows, and a rug from La-Z-Boy. It was my first time to purchase from them. I had a friend who had bought from them so I decided to try them. I liked their price point because I usually don’t keep things very long. I was satisfied with La-Z-Boy up until 30 minutes after the delivery guys left. In the light, there was a shadow on the furniture which I saw after the delivery. On one corner of the furniture, there was some light pink on it and whenever I run my hand across it, there’s also a snag. I called them immediately after. The girl told me there was nothing that they could do about it. She also told me that I should’ve inspected my furniture more carefully and I should’ve not accepted it. She said that I needed to go through the warranty that I bought too. And that was it. I’m not happy with that aspect.

    I bought a lot of furniture from mostly high-end places and I’ve never experienced anything like that. And in most places where I buy furniture, they replace it if there’s an issue. They don’t refuse it, but then I’ll wait another six weeks for another piece of furniture to arrive. Other than the customer service aspect, La-Z-Boy is good. You get what you pay for. When you pay more money, you get better customer service.

    I've recently purchased a sectional and a chair from La-Z-Boy. My old furniture was above and beyond gory, so I needed something new and comfortable. All of their sales reps have been above reproach. They were all very helpful, cooperative, gave me good information, followed through with my questions. And the young designer who came to the house was excellent, too. His ideas were superb. I have a really tough room to do anything with, and he came up with a solution in two seconds. I really liked him and I was very pleased with him. I had the furniture delivered and the delivery guys came when they were supposed to. They were very good, clean and cooperative, as well.

    The new furniture looks great in our family room and I love it. However, the fabric was a little lighter than I thought. I'm kind of old-fashioned and I prefer it to be dark. And my only complaint is I'm not very happy with the upholstery workmanship on the chair. I don't know if that has to do with La-Z-Boy itself, it's whoever they contracted out to do their upholstery. That chair, to me, that is not a La-Z-Boy chair. It's just a side chair, an occasional chair. I debated on ordering it in the first place, and right now, I'm just a little disappointed in the workmanship. Otherwise, I'm the only one who probably sees that. And overall, everything was great and I would go back to La-Z-Boy many times if I needed more furniture.

    I've owned La-Z-Boy furniture for 40 years. When the others were starting to get worn, I bought two new recliners from them two and a half months ago. When I was ready to buy the recliners, I didn’t have my wife with me. But the store let me take home the store sample to show it to her because being able to show her the leather swatch, we could come to an agreement that those were the two recliners we wanted. That’s also why we always like to have the swatches of the recliners to match with other furniture because for us, leather recliners last anywhere from 10 to 12 years and we probably could go longer, but we just get tired of them. I went back to the store later that day. I walked in, made my purchase, and walked out. They delivered the recliners a couple of days later. The delivery team called before they showed up, and they were at my house 10 minutes max.

    I'm happy with what we've got considering their price and quality. My only complaint was I returned their big store swatch and I asked for some swatches of the material including the leather of the recliners I got. They didn't have them then and they said they had to order them. Other than that, I like La-Z-Boy. They were professional and my experience was quick and easy. I would recommend them.

    I order two recliners and a sofa paid for 25% upfront. Was told 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. It's now been almost 4 months and the store won't return my phone calls. No one will tell me why my order is late. This is the worst customer service I've ever seen. I work in retail and if I didn't return my customers calls or keep them informed of what is going on with their orders my boss would fire me. I will never buy LA-Z-BOY. This is the worst customer service I've seen and they want you to pay upfront for this kind of service. I hate to see what the warranty service is going to be like. If you're thinking of buying from them, run away.

    I've purchased from La-Z-Boy before, but this was the first time I didn't purchase anything off the floor and it was great. It was more expensive than when you get things yourself or off the floor, but they were perfect. The decorator from La-Z-Boy helped me pick out and coordinate colors. She came to the house, measured and figured out what was fit where. She had to come out twice since the first time she went, my house wasn't finished to see. She wasn't overly pressuring to get the things she likes and she listened to what I said. She's very good at what she does and was also very nice. I would recommend her and I already told my sister to call her about a couple of things because she has good ideas.

    During the delivery, I had to leave everything wrapped up since my house was still unfinished. However, when I unwrapped them, I had a couple of minor problems, such as the leg being damaged, so I returned them all and they were nice about that. That was no one's else's fault but mine since I'm not ready when the furniture came in. I called the customer service number and they sent out somebody who is not local. I'm still waiting for him to deliver or call me back about it. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my experience and I would definitely recommend La-Z-Boy.

    I've had La-Z-Boy sectional for 17 years and I needed a color change. Then I bought something else that lasted for two years and I said that I gotta go back to La-Z-Boy. Everybody in their store was great. Then I had to have the decorator come over to make sure that we bought the right amount of pieces ‘cause we needed a large sectional and before we finalized everything, we found that we have to add another piece that could match the color. We need it all the same lot. Also, everything was fabulous all the way around with the delivery. I have to pay the money for the quality and I learned that with what I bought in-between the last one and this one. La-Z-Boy's more expensive, but it’s worth it. It's very professional and that’s what we look for nowadays because the only difference between one company compared to the next is the customer service. Overall, It was a fabulous experience.

    Special ordered a couch which the floor sample was red with tan thick stitching. I special ordered it with black leather with tan stitching since that wasn't a color the couch came in. I was told that it would have tan stitching. Well, it was delivered and it didn't. Just black leather with black thread and the couch looks like any other black couch from any other store. After numerous calls, basically they will do nothing. They didn't realize it would be made black on black. They offered me back my delivery fee which at that point I felt they needed it more than me since their attitude is "Oh well". Furniture has a very high markup and it wouldn't have hurt them to make some form of compensation. I just spent almost $2000 and have to look at it every day. I've always told friends to buy La-Z-Boy but not anymore... not what I feel is a stand-up company anymore...

    Bought close to a 3000 couch. A nail like object popped out of back of leather power recliner couch when I had company. Dinner party from work. Called about warranty I purchased and they charged 117 bucks to have service guy come out and say they won't cover. They stated it was constantly rubbing wall. I never use this side and it never touched wall. Couch very heavy to lift. I had company over and chair popped back and the sharp object from couch put a hole in wall. Nowhere near where they said it was rubbing. They said to call warranty place they sold me. Warranty place was out of state and wanted pictures. I was told they would repair for any accidental reason. I sent pictures and they determined from a small scuff mark where chair did 1 time popped back and hit wall it was constant rubbing. Extremely frustrating to be told how chair was damaged rather than taking responsibility. Extremely frustrating.

    The chair works fine and still doesn't rub to this day. Just big sharp object sticking out of couch and good size hole in wall. I tried going to small claims court and they ruled against me stating I should sue warranty place who said they would cover for any accident but they don't have local representative in this state so court said I can't sue someone out of state. La-Z-Boy shouldn't sell warranty without a representative in that state to take responsibility if they don't honor warranty. La-Z-Boy should have been responsible but instead they paid a lawyer to travel 5 hours to represent them.

    I'm taking them back to court 1 more time knowing the truth doesn't matter and I will lose. It will cost me 10 to file and I work across the street. Will run to court on my lunch break. They will have to pay that lawyer another 5 hours to travel and a hour at court. ** justice **. ** justice. It would of cost them around 350 to just replace back of coach and have good customer service. I guarantee it cost them much more to pay that lawyer now going to be 10 hours of travel time. Oh wait they did offer to pay half of the replacement of back of couch. I did say no TY. I spent almost 400 on warranty to protect my couch. Their example in trying to get me to buy warranty was for any reason. Even if a little kid comes over and accidentally cuts your couch with scissors huh. For any reason? Man oh man. Life could be frustrating!

    Our furniture was looking pretty shabby so I decided it was time to purchase new furniture. We worked with Esmeralda of La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries and she was fabulous. We walked into the store in Oxnard and started looking around and described to her what we're looking for. We were interested in a one leather couch and she said that were going to need to accessorize some other things plus think about the theme. She came and measured it out and took her time with us. I didn't feel we were pressured to buy, which was really good. She laid out the plan for us, made it totally approachable and reasonable but there was a little snafu with the sofa table that we got. It was loose. So one of the delivery guys tried to tighten it but was still loose and didn't feel right.

    I called the customer care and let them know. So they had a customer care rep come out and look at it. It's broken like something’s strip inside of it, so they had to order me a whole new thing. And their customer care response had been great. The rep was surprised the delivery people did not notice it and they said it was okay. Although I haven't received the new sofa table yet, the next couple of weeks they’ll schedule a delivery appointment. So far, the quality of La-Z-Boy furniture is great, except with the sofa table. We're loving it and it's well-made. We're feeling very good about it and it has been a good experience, overall.

    I bought a floor model chair from the Orland Park store. When the chair arrived, it was the correct model but not the same fabric. I decided to keep it because it matched my decor. I noticed the chair did not swivel so I called and a repairman came and told me the wood support was cracked. This says to me that you sent not only the wrong chair but a defective one. When I called the Orland store they told me that since I had the chair for longer than 3 days (a ridiculously short time) I was only eligible for home repair. This was your mistake in the first place. How is sending parts to my home which I have to carry in and then call for an appointment called Customer Service? I am still not satisfied with this arrangement! I should have gotten the exact chair I bought off the floor or a new chair.

    My mother has purchased La-Z-Boy furniture before and they opened up a new store near us so I thought I would go there when I needed assistance. I got a sofa and the sales rep was fabulous. She showed us how to make adjustments to the furniture, how to flip it over and see things in the back and she also showed us all the construction. We also got extra discounts because of my husband being a veteran. It was Memorial Day weekend so we got a good deal on the sale there.

    The delivery team was very nice except when I said something to the guys about adjusting it, they said that they could not do it so there was a discrepancy there. And then it started misting outside so I wasn’t too happy that they had taken this sofa and set it outside. Also, they showed up early and I wasn’t even dressed yet. If they say 1:00, it ought to be 1:00 ‘cause that’s what I’m counting on. If I had run out to the grocery store, I’d have missed them.

    Other than that, I like the sofa a lot and the protection plan that came along with it. I bought protection plans for other things before and it seemed that the stuff fell apart almost immediately. But I was very impressed at the fact that they were willing to cover all kinds of things even an incontinence problem. Also, I got less $1,000 so I’m happy about it.

    I bought 2 matching recliners in March, 2015. Was told they were covered by a warranty. By March of 2016, the back of one of the recliners was broken. Took it in for repair and was told the labor isn't covered under warranty. Paid $75 to have back repaired but when I got home the base made clacking sound. Was told I wouldn't be charged for the repair since the chair wasn't making that noise when I brought it in for the back repair.

    Today I got a voice message telling me that the base has to be replaced and the repair cost will be $125. I've called back to discuss this further, but no one has returned my call. If they won't repair it at no cost to me, I'm going back in for the base. If I spend another $125 on the repair, the total amount of the repairs will almost equal the price of the entire chair! I won't be back to La-Z-Boy and I wouldn't recommend their products to anyone else. I feel very ripped off and disappointed.

    I have already called customer service regarding the peeling on my chair. I've owned La-Z-Boy since the early 1970's and never have I experienced peeling from a fabric. I understand not all fabrics are the same, but when I buy La-Z-Boy, I expect the fabric to be as durable as the chair itself. What good is a long-lasting chair if the fabric is of poor quality. I was told to use a fabric shaver twice and it should stop - DIDN'T WORK! Very disappointed and leery of buying La-Z-Boy ever again.

    I had a La-Z-Boy a long time ago and it seemed like it held up well. Then we saw that they had a sale so we stopped by La-Z-Boy in Raleigh. The sales rep was real knowledgeable. Also, the delivery team was on time. They brought the two recliners we purchased when I expected it and they didn't stay long. However, when my wife lets her recliner go back to normal, it pops real loud when releasing the stick part. Mine also does that but it's not as loud as hers. But overall I would recommend La-Z-Boy.

    I went to "LA-Z-BOY" Furniture Galleries Roseville CA April 1, 2017, to check out a recliner for myself. I checked a section of the smaller size recliners, I had difficulty getting out of the chair and ask if they had any with a higher seat, 18" High. They brought out a platform and placed it under the chair, it was a perfect fit. I then asked if they had it available in burgundy color fabric, I was told that that chair did not. I am not sure of the style name but the price was $450.00 on sale. We needed to leave as we had an appointment. The salesman then told me they could do it in the burgundy color but it would be a special order and It would take 4 to 6 weeks. I agreed and paid the deposit and signed the papers he brought to me, so we could be on our way. I was a little surprised at the total price, $958.97.

    My chair arrived on Wed. May 00. They brought the chair in, put it together said it was ready, had me sign some paper and started out the door and I said I need to check it out. I sat in the chair and I said it didn't feel right and he said I had 30 days to return it and he was out the door in the truck on his way. It didn't even look like the same chair I had picked out. The lower back was pushing me forward. The upper back was so far back, like in a reclining position, the height of the seat is 20" not 18". 2" may not seem like a big difference but it is if you're 5' tall with 2 knees and a hip replacement.

    My son tried to take it back the next day and was told there would be a restocking/return fee of 30%. They would not allow him to unload the chair from his vehicle and said their policy is they do not allow customer furniture in their store & said we needed to hire their truck at an additional charge to deliver it back to the warehouse. They also indicated the chair needs to be broken in, I am 83 years old, I'm not guaranteed time at my age. She also said she would have a Representative call and make an appointment & check it out.

    The rep came, looked underneath chair, said "all is OK". I showed him how I sit in the chair, he asked for a large towel and placed it under the back legs & asked how it felt. I said it feels like I'm falling forward. He said he could make something to raise the back, but could not make any adjustments to the chair as it would void the warranty. (What Warranty) I asked how much would that cost and he said around $60. I said, "NO, I already paid $958.97."

    So I now have a very expensive chair that sits in my LR and no one will sit in it because it is the most uncomfortable seat in my house. I think it is a form of robbery to pay a 30% ($377.) restocking fee, plus they charged a shipping fee. I will never buy another La-Z-Boy product at any store nor will I recommend it to anyone.

June 22 my wife recliner quit functioning. Back rest stuck in recline mode. Called customer service. Was told they would schedule service call then get back to me. No reply. Called customer service later in the day. Was told Aug. 1st was the soonest they could look at it. Very unacceptable. Each day I look at my $1000.00 pile of blank and wonder how long the other will last. Needless to say each day We are more dissatisfied with the lazy experience.

    A couple of weeks ago my husband and I spent over $2000.00 on a couch and love seat from La-Z-Boy. The following morning, less than 12 hours later there's an advertised sale in the LA Times. Buy one get one half off. The HUGE color picture in the ad was MY COUCH! So... I called the store only to be told that my couch was not included in the sale because it already was such a great price. The ad said THE WHOLE STORE! The tags on the furniture and the bill did NOT say my couches were discounted in any way, nor were they on sale, so tell me WHY am I not entitled to the SALE price???

    Also, NO ONE I spoke to from the store or corporate ever said, "Let me try to help you," "We are sorry," etc. NO HELP WHATSOEVER. I want to know why my couches were pictured in the sale ad but are not included in the sale. This is terrible advertising, and as of right now I will NEVER buy anything from La-Z-Boy again. Your customer service is terrible.

    I was moving and since some of my furniture was old, I figured it'd be just as easy to get rid of them and get something new. Plus, the first La-Z-Boy piece I had I got in the 1980s and I thought I deserved a new chair. I got rid of it a few months ago and then I bought the recliner and then the accessories as well. The sales rep had been excellent. I had trouble with one credit card. It would not accept any more charges because they thought there was some fraudulent business going on and they were very nice and understanding. I ended up writing a check so it all worked out okay.

    The delivery team was very nice, respectful and efficient. They didn't leave anything behind. I didn't have to clean up after them. Overall, everyone I had dealt with was courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. I was a little shocked at the price though. But it's just that I haven't gotten furniture for a long time 'cause I usually keep my furniture for a while. But the quality of the product is good and I like it.

    We have had La-Z-Boy furniture in our home for 15 years. Our furniture was just so old and a lot of people have been on it, us, our kids, our grandkids and our great grandkids. It just didn't look as nice as we'd like it to but all the mechanisms worked on it. So, we decided to go back to our oldie but goodie. We knew what we wanted, but the sales rep showed us all the different ones and we decided to go with what we had in mind. She was very nice, knowledgeable and pleasant. I couldn’t have asked for anything more from her. Our last recliner had heat and vibration but this time we just got plain ones. We got two of the same style and color then we picked them up.

    The quality is great with the La-Z-Boy, or we wouldn’t have gone back with them. In fact, we also had Ashley furniture but we would not buy anything Ashley again. The La-Z-Boy was priced pretty good too. We already knew the price of what we were gonna get, but we were lucky enough that they were having a sale so it was a win-win.

    I purchased a custom built La-Z-Boy sofa a couple of years ago and was so disappointed with the construction and defective fabric. When I contacted the local store, I was informed that the sofa was out of warranty and there was not much I could have done but pay to have it recovered. For years I've only gone to La-Z-Boy for new furniture because the quality was so good. However, it seems that to save money the company has switched to cheaper construction (smaller sized cushions, less padding, no longer providing arm covers or headrest covers) and inferior materials. My older recliners and first couch have lasted for years with no fabric problems, only damaged by pets.

    I will eventually replace this couch but will be searching for a new furniture manufacturer due to the path La-Z-Boy seems to have taken to cut costs. It always amazes me that companies who seek to save costs don't realize what loss of customers will ultimately do their businesses. Quality brings loyalty and customer service is golden.

    I purchased a leather two seat recliner with dual motors for operation. Within several weeks of ownership the motor on one side stopped working with the chair in the recline position. When a repair man finally came out he stated the wiring was just bundled too tight from the factory. He fiddled around with it and it began working. Since then we have had to flip the chair over at least weekly to jiggle wires to get the chair to work. Recently I had leg surgery and was home alone. I became stuck in the chair for hours when it would not return to the upright sitting position. Dealing with the warranty company is frustrating. I have to say, I most likely would not buy from La-Z-Boy again. This is my first experience with them and it's just not worth the frustration when there are so many furniture stores in the area. $2500 lesson learned.

    I picked up a sectional couch from La-Z-Boy two months ago because my ex-wife got my old set. I also ordered two pillows, then went back a week later to order two more of the same pillow for a total of four. They were kind of busy that day, and Michael, their store manager, was the only one at the store. Everything else is fine, the pillows were nice and I am happy with them, but I waited two months to get them - I just picked them up last Thursday and I could not believe it! I waited it out because I am not going to go out and get a throw rug and be disappointed when I get the pillows. I wish I could have gotten them earlier because I was trying to match everything with throw carpeting and hardwood floor. I only took a picture of the couch and never the pillows so I did not know how to match it.

    They had two of them in the warehouse and I told them over the phone that they should have just shipped me two of them so that I did not have to go to their store to get the other two so I could match the throw carpeting. I also called them up before trying to explain what I was going to do. If ever do this again, I’ll take a picture of the pillows so I don’t run into this problem anymore. Michael kept apologizing for the delay but I told him to not apologize and that I am not in a hurry. Their delivery team was an outside contractor and they were fine. I was putting the felt pads on and they helped me with it because it is going on a hardwood floor. They also showed me how to box stuff in case I ever move again.

    Sales associate was great, delivery was good but they neglected to lock the back in place and show us how it was done. The chair is good, but tends to rock slightly even when reclined. Not sure if it's supposed to or not. Also after rocking, the chair slides backward on the carpet. I think it needs a some kind of anti-slide material on the bottom of the pedestal.

    I bought a Recliner Sofa from La-Z-Boy. The first thing was a red flag was $125 for delivery as I only live less than 5 miles from the East Mesa store, then after I had the Sofa in my home for a few days.     I've now had this Recliner since we picked it up at the warehouse in the first week May. I find the chair very poorly constructed. It's very loose, the lever function works very irregularly. Thought it was me but my room mate who also bought at the same time agrees it's the chair. I also thought by now it would feel great, but I actually can't sit in it for more than fifteen minutes before my lower back starts getting uncomfortable. I would like it repaired so I can sell it.     The service was great, received the chairs on the date quoted. The quality of the workmanship on both chairs is not acceptable, the mechanism on one chair doesn't work smoothly, the fabric is great and what I ordered but the fabric wasn't properly stretched or something. These chairs replaced 2 La-Z-Boy chairs that were years old and served us very well. I looked at having them reupholstered but more costly than purchasing new chairs. I loved those chairs and so sorry I replaced them. As I expected the same high quality, I didn't shop around. I just ordered 2 new chairs. I could have purchased better chairs at Walmart or the Brick for a third the cost.

    Is there any other manufacturer than La-Z-Boy for a recliner? The hardest part when it came time to replace my 20 year old La-Z-Boy was choosing the fabric. The easiest part is where I would purchase it. Kristina in the Chicago store knew everything about the recliners making my shopping experience enjoyable. I think I have the most beautiful - and comfortable - recliner in the world.

    La-Z-Boy has a superb customer service and a product quality that lives up to its reputation. We've always had a recliner from them. I recently purchased a La-Z-Boy recliner for my 90-year-old father. He had used an old recliner that was not a La-Z-Boy brand for way too many years past its life. The old recliner was causing him some back problems and I wanted to get him something that was more supportive for his back. He’s apartment-bound in Cincinnati, Ohio while I live down in near Augusta, Georgia. Because we’re 500 miles away, it was not an ordinary La-Z-Boy transaction.

    I went to the local La-Z-Boy folks in Augusta. They were extraordinarily kind to share their time and knowledge with me about the models, choices and prices. I offered to buy the chair from them and have it shipped to my father, but they said that was not possible given the way La-Z-Boy structures its franchises and territory arrangements. I then made contact with the La-Z-Boy folks up in Cincinnati that’s nearest to my father’s home and they were extremely helpful as well about the models, fabrics and colors. We narrowed down what they had in inventory and what I was looking for.

    On my next trip up, I went directly to the store, looked at what we had, made a decision and bought the recliner which was delivered out of the store the next day. The store manager was superb from the perspective of where my father lives. They could not get involved in getting rid of his old chair and the La-Z-Boy store manager went beyond the call of duty and helped me get rid of that particular chair, which would have been a giant nightmare for me to try to deal with not living in Cincinnati myself. My father loves the La-Z-Boy recliner and it's working out great for him.

    La-Z-Boy is a great example of an organization coming together on a lot of different fronts to ultimately make sure they have a sale on a satisfied customer. I worked for IBM for 30 years as an executive and I deal with large companies all the time, so I see large companies that are not as well coordinated in attempting to handle a customer because they start dealing with different departments. The folks in La-Z-Boy are in alliance.

Somewhere along the line we were misquoted a price for our Briggs reclining sofa and her manager gave approval to sell us the sofa at the quoted price ($500 less!!). Delivery was actually earlier than expected and even early on the scheduled day. The two delivery staff even moved and loaded my old sofa onto a truck for us to haul it away.     I purchased two chairs on the 12 of June. My primary purchase was a power lift chair for my father that I was in a hurry to have and place in his home. I paid for full price for this chair and said I would pick up the chair on the 17th to place in his home. While in the store my wife ordered another chair that had to be made as she selected a different fabric. This would be take 6 to 8 weeks so I paid half on this chair expecting to pay the rest when the chair arrived. They mentioned that they have a policy where the whole order has to be paid before they can release anything from the warehouse without prior approval. I asked that they make the prior approval request so I could pick up the chair for my father on the 17th.

    While in the store there were many reprinting and payments made to adjust for this from one sales promotion to another and after several hours I left the store with the expectation of picking up my father's chair on the 17th. The confusion at the store was taxing, but when I got to the warehouse they had no record of the chair being scheduled for pickup. The gentleman at the warehouse was very apologetic and said he would get the chair and place the protection coating on the chair. While he was doing this he found that he could not release the chair because I did not pay the full cost of the second chair.

    At this point he called the La-Z-Boy store where the saleslady was again apologetic and stated she thought I would be calling the corporate office to achieve release of the chair and I have no idea what they thought I would do to schedule the pickup. I then talked to the store manager who in no uncertain terms clearly stated it is the policy of La-Z-Boy not to release parts of any order without full payment. She did not try to offer any solution or apologize for the inconvenience to me or any misunderstanding the may have taken place. I paid the remainder of the bill for the chair of $255 dollars though I had already paid the almost $3,000.00 for the chair I wanted that I couldn't get.

    I waited while they placed the chair on a swivel and sprayed it at the warehouse. This took five minutes at $342. I would never recommend this procedure or the boxes of cleaner that we still have not received. After paying well over three thousand dollars I have one chair that was sprayed and placed in a plastic bag for me to take delivery to my 96 year old father, no boxes of cleaner at forty dollars a box and a bad taste from the frustrations of dealing with managers and administration of your store in Bolingbrook, IL. The warehouse people and salespeople were polite and friendly, the procedures and management leaves a lot to be desired. The fabric protection etc. seemed to be something that is greatly overpriced from what I have seen.

    I went to La-Z-Boy for the reputation and quality that I have received in the past. I clearly stated in the beginning I wanted a quality lift chair as soon as possible. The salesperson should have sold me that one on a separate ticket and its would have fit into your policy parameter. The store manager could have acted in a manner as if she cared about the customer's satisfaction.

    I had just moved and I had always wanted quality leather furniture, so I went to La-Z-Boy and I got a lovely, little custom set. There was this odd, specific color that I wanted for the leather and the rep really helped me search the custom leather area and found the shade that I wanted. I brought them samples of fabric that was in the room. I wanted like an orange, rusty brown color and not like a bright lollipop orange. I got a beautiful sunset color. It’s warm and I love it.

    I got the sofa and the chair. The rep was good and she didn't push me to upgrade. She just offered what was available. But I upgraded to get the little nail heads put on the side. When I went in to sit on the sofa I wanted, I told the rep that I wasn't sure about the sofa because of my back. She told me to sit on the other sofa that has the memory foam and see how I liked it. So, I also upgraded to the memory foam cushions. She also told me about the warranty so I bought it. I scheduled the delivery and they were on time. It was really nice. The furniture was delivered about a month ago and they were very careful. They were even willing to take the door off if they needed to because they didn’t want to scratch the furniture. They removed the legs and they put them back on. They set it up exactly where I wanted it.

    However, I noticed on both the arms of my sofa and the chair that the white stitching is already pulling. My daughter came over to look at the furniture and she had pointed out that on my sofa where the stitching is pulling, some of the sunset color of the leather is looking like it’s already going to start to peel. Other than that, the quality was great. I paid almost $6,000 for both pieces which was a little bit high, but I could not find any other company that had the custom color that I wanted and I knew La-Z-Boy by name. Also, for that price, I'm glad that I got the warranty. They were pricey but worth it. It was a beautiful experience all the way around. I was very happy with them.

    I spent close to $7,000 on a sectional from La-Z-Boy. For that amount of money I was expecting heirloom type furniture. What I received was the opposite - the furniture frame feels cheap and not sturdy, the mechanism used to recline feels cheap and it's difficult to operate. The delivery people were in a hurry and didn't set it up correctly - we had to redo. And, a bolt was stripped on arrival. I cannot return the sectional because it is a special order. I will never purchase from La-Z-Boy again.

    The couch has a pull button to recline. I have an older couch that has levers like the chairs. Everyone in the family likes the levers better. The two chairs are the same model. One was damaged and when I called the vendor, they promptly replaced it with another. The replacement is the same model but is not the same.

    June 3, 2017 I purchased a La-Z-Boy recliner chair after browsing their store and seeing which one would work for my needs. As I also paid extra for a tall rocker base and chose one of their other colors, they'll have to custom make it for me and I won't be receiving it til mid-July. I asked at that time if they will pick up my old recliner chair, as their TV commercial always states "We'll dispose of your old recliner when you buy a new one from us," or something to that extent, and my sales rep told me that La-Z-Boy doesn't do that and if they did, I'd have to pay an extra fee over $100 for that service.

    I also didn't receive the TV commercial's $100 trade-in credit. I called my sales rep about this and he said I received a 25% Memorial Day discount. I also told him about the TV commercial and he said he'd look into it and return my call but he never did. I can't rate the chair yet as I haven't received it but La-Z-Boy has already billed the full amount of $992.15 to my credit card. (Normally companies wait to bill until item ships out). Am not very happy with my transaction as a result.

    I have had La-Z-Boy products in my home for a long time. I bought living room sets and couches from them before. I wanted to change the colors of my furniture and I wanted a loveseat, so I gave what I had to my daughter and purchased a loveseat and a couch. I've never had a problem with La-Z-Boy, until the loveseat. The material didn’t hold up, so they replaced it. But the same thing is happening again. The loveseat has a soft, fluffy fabric material that won’t hold up. I've only had the loveseat for two months and it's almost worn off now. I used to use my La-Z-Boy rockers every day and I never had this problem before.

    But La-Z-Boy’s sales and customer service reps were great. I usually talk to Lane, but when she was out, another lady helped me. The delivery team who first came here had dirty hands, but the furniture they brought was clean. The guy who delivered the couch recently had to replace the arm on the furniture. When he replaced the arm, I showed him the loveseat. He took pictures and told me that there's nothing wrong with it. Then the sales agent came from the La-Z-Boy store and said, “Yes, there is,” and they replaced the loveseat. The only problem is the fabric, and as long as they replace it, it’s fine.

    We custom ordered a Harbor Town Reclina-Rocker on 4/1/17 with a custom fabric. This is the 3 of these chairs that we have custom ordered from your company. We were told that it should take 4-6 weeks. When I called May 1st, I was told that the fabric was on back order, and it would take at least another 2 weeks. We were notified that the chair was in on 5/25/17. When we went to pick up the chair, we saw there were staples sticking out of the fabric on the right arm and the fabric was puckered on the left arm. We told by Adrianna, who claimed to be the store manager, that we had to take the chair home and call customer service to have a tech come to our home to fix it. She added that there was "no way" that they could have a tech come and fix the chair at the store. We refused delivery of the chair, telling her that the defect needed to be repaired at the store before we would accept delivery.

    We called on 5/26/17 and spoke to Alex. He said he would look into the issue. Later that day, we received a call that the chair had been repaired at the store. We went in, met with the true manager, Carol, and finally accepted delivery of the chair. This entire experience was frustrating and we're not at all happy with it. This chair was not cheap, and the interaction with the store, other than Carol, left us very reluctant to ever order anything from you again.

    Love the chair - I went in knowing the style chair I wanted. I have had 2 recliners from La-Z-Boy before and also have a couch from them. The purchase went great and delivery was excellent. I would have given 5 stars except for 2 things. I asked if the new recliner (power) would recline as flat as the manual one I was replacing and was told it did, but it doesn't because it doesn't have the "ratcheting" ability. Secondly, a friend asked me about batteries. There is a power pack that requires batteries so the chair will operate in a power outage. This was never explained, either at purchase or delivery.

    I went into the La-Z-Boy near the Dayton mall in Ohio. I purchased two chairs at a cost of $4375.76 on March 19 2017. I was told that I should expect delivery in 4 to 6 weeks but to expect the chairs in 4 weeks. On May 13th I went into the store to try and get a delivery date. I was told by the manager that my salesman would have to get back to me on Monday the 10th with a delivery date. On Tuesday I had to call him for a delivery. He had none. I called yet again on June 8th and today is June 19 and I still don't have any delivery. I think that my mistake was that I paid in full on March 19th.

    We had service on our ottoman that we just purchased and it is severely pilled after using it for two weeks and our recliner needed adjustment. When we were notified of the date the service tech would be out, I specifically asked for them to come after 3:00 pm as we had an appointment until then. The lady said that would be fine and they would call 30 min. before they arrived. On our way home from Indianapolis, we received a call and the tech said "I AM AT YOUR DOOR NOW." No notice... Nothing... Same thing happened when our furniture was delivered.

    We had to call our son and have him run home to meet the driver. The tech checked the ottoman and said it was bad for being brand new but he couldn't do anything about it and he would report it. He then proceeded to take a sweater shaver and shave off the pills, which is apparently routine. He adjusted the recliner which works better now. He was there for 10 min. and we have heard nothing since. We are not happy with the service so far. Hopefully we will hear something soon about our ottoman as we are not satisfied with the cover and how badly it pilled after only two weeks of use.

    Christian from store 270 was wonderful to work with. We dealt with him long-distance from New Jersey over the phone. He got our order correctly and it was delivered on time in Myrtle Beach. When we got to MB, we realized that our one love seat which was still on order, was too big, so your store manager was gracious enough to let us get a credit, which we used on a recliner chair. We love the furniture and it was delivered and set up with an explanation on how to use the sofa bed. Wonderful employees at that location. Would highly recommend.

    We recently purchased a recliner through the Augusta, GA store and while the chair looks great, I do not believe that it will last. The staff at the store were absolutely great and delivery was made on time as promised. The guys who made the delivery were very careful and took care not to mar anything in moving the new chair into position. My "problem" is with what I consider to be the underlying mechanics and the quality of the build. To put it in the simplest terms, it makes the kinds of "noises" when you recline it that you would expect from a chair that is 15 years old. This tells me that in 15 years I may have already had to replace it. Just by way of information, I am not hard on a chair. This new chair replaces one that was almost 20 years old and still looked (and worked) great! However, all this said, the chair looks great and sits even better.

    My wife's in a wheelchair and she was getting a lot of swelling in her ankles because she was sitting vertically. So, we came up with the idea of buying a new furniture. We ended up getting two lift chairs from La-Z-Boy. It's been working and her ankles are much better. The sales rep was helpful, showed us all the different options and went through everything. Their delivery team was very quick and they did everything we asked them. The quality of the furniture is very good. The material is a little bit scratchy, but not bad. Other than that, we like the lift chairs so much. All in all, our experience has been great. My wife and I are very happy and everything that was promised was delivered and both are functioning well at this point.

    We've had a La-Z-Boy chair years ago and it’s still in the basement. My wife wanted a new furniture. We went to the store, looked at the furniture, saw what we wanted, and had the salesperson come out and see if the furniture would fit in our room. So, the salesperson came out and laid the furniture out and it looked all right to us. We bought a chair, power recliners, and some accessories. La-Z-Boy’s delivery guys were very nice. They called and said that they were going ahead of time. They arrived when they should’ve and they used care in getting the furniture in the house. We got the La-Z-Boy pieces last Friday, but we have a serviceman coming out to look at one of the reclining chairs because its leather looks loose. The furniture has a warranty on it and the issue is covered. But so far, it’s been good with La-Z-Boy.

    This has been a great experience for us. This is the first double reclining sofa we've ever owned. The only concern is who gets the right side and who gets to be on the left.     We loved the decorator who helped us in Wichita. Her design was good but the sofa we purchased is not good, nor is comfortable... The fabric is not holding up... It is piling up and I'm beginning to feel that the frame is not as sturdy either. Love the swivel chairs we purchased but the sofa was very bad purchase... There are only two of us in our home so can't feel the sofa is being overused. Would love to have a gray leather sofa in place of what we have, but can't afford to buy another at this time.

    I visited my local La-Z-Boy retailer when shopping for a sofa bed. After entering this store, I went no further. I was surprised at the styling and variety of products available. Who knew I would buy a La-Z-Boy? I realize this sounds like a commercial but it is true. In addition to great modern styling, Leona, the sales representative who helped me, is a great asset to the store. She was knowledgeable and personable. She was certainly patient with me; we took a fair bit of time to determine what would best fit my requirements based on size, design, style, fabric, and price.

    Delivery was efficient, an anomaly these days. The driver called to let me know when to expect him and was on time. Most sofa beds are terrible in both uses but the sofa is nice and firm to sit on, and the bed noteworthy for sleeping comfort. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for a great piece of furniture which will last for years.

    Every time I sat down on my recliner, the chair would move backward; after three days I would have to push it back to the original spot. The person you sent out to rectify the situation said it was not a defect but suggested I put rubber pads, etc. under the back legs to prevent the chair from moving, which I did and it worked! The service person was very polite, explained the situation and suggested a remedy. The only suggestion I have is to build a chair which stays in place.

    We ordered an entire roomful of furniture, rug, lamps, etc. and received them in about 6 weeks’ time. No problems, no complaints. On April 1, 2017, I called in an order for 2 pictures which were on our presentation from the designer. It is now 10 weeks later and we still don't have them! This past Thursday, my husband called to check on their delivery, only to find out one of the pictures was in the store, but the other picture they received was not one we ordered. Note to self, never ever purchase accessories from La-Z-Boy! So very disappointed!

    We ordered and received 4 items. We refused delivery on the Talbot Ottoman and 3 weeks later have not received any calls from the store as to whether it will be replaced or a refund. We have called the store manager twice and she said the item was not to her liking, but no resolution. There were two problems with the ottoman: it did not sit level on the floor, the delivery staff adding 4 washers to one leg to level it but not successfully; and the memory foam cushion on top overhung one side by almost 3". It obviously was not inspected, (this was the opinion of the delivery staff, which I agreed with). We understand mistakes happen, but we do not understand why the store manager did not resolve this within 24 hours of delivery... We are now 3+ weeks later. This is inexcusable. We are enjoying the other 3 pieces and would like to have the ottoman to complete the set as soon as possible!

    My mother had a great experience with La-Z-Boy. She had bought furniture for the living room earlier and she liked it. So, for the family room, she went to La-Z-Boy again. We bought something and had to go back and get a swatch of it to match paint with. They didn’t have a swatch of the material but they let us take the sample. We borrowed it late in the evening and took it back the next day. The delivery team brought the items on time. They did whatever assembly was required and didn’t leave any mess in my house.
