I am very dissatisfied with the craftsmanship in a recliner that I have. The fabric is falling off and ripping, but they want to charge me $150 so they can come out and fix it. I paid around $1,000 for this recliner and I have only had it for about 3 years. I WILL NEVER buy something from La-Z-Boy again. Also when we called the second lady we talked to very rude about our situation.

We’ve always had good experience with the history of products from La-Z-Boy. We recently purchased an ottoman, a pillow and a recliner sectional. The sales reps were excellent. They were very professional as well. Also, the delivery guys were awesome. They did a really fantastic job. The quality of the furniture is very good and they were also priced right.

I wanted a more comfortable feel so I got my first La-Z-Boy. It has been with me for two months. I spoke with a very informative and very detailed sales rep and the delivery team was very good. La-Z-Boy’s cost was a bit higher since it's made in the USA.

We order 1 couch and love seat on Oct 21/2017. All was good told 4-5 weeks max and was explained comes from USA etc. End of the 4 week we called the Edmonton Branch and was advised both be shipped next week from USA, clear customs be 10 days. Dec 1, called our sales person. Advised one was in and no idea where other one was. Today is Dec 4 I have had no call backs with follow up to our order. This has been 6 weeks. I can track a 10.00 item from Wayfair and they are very close to ship date and time. In today's technology I cant believe the customer or salesperson has no idea where and when it's going to be delivered. I guess I will cancel and take my 4600.00. Thanks.

Lisa, our room designer, is a very patient and kind lady! She spent a lot of time looking for the perfect furniture to fit our long room! We also picked out a beautiful area carpet, two side tables and a beautiful console for our large screen TV. It also prompted us to finally remodel the front three rooms of our house! We are so pleased with Lisa and her expertise not only with finding the perfect La-Z-Boy furniture for our room but also with the fact that she took the time to find mission style accent pieces that are just perfect! We will definitely add pictures at a later date- we still are finishing up some details to those rooms! We LOVE you, Lisa! We will see you in the future, definitely!

LZBOY will replace the defective parts at no charge, and has therefore restored our faith in their products. We have been buying LZBOY for decades, and have three other recliners that have maintained good quality. I will therefore continue to buy and recommend LZBOY products because they have earned our trust again.

We paid $2,000 for La-Z-Boy leather couch and it is cracking and splitting in multiple places after on 13 months. We have given La-Z-Boy 5 chances to repair or refund, but they want another $350 or more to fix. I will post photos on Facebook and then boost them thousands of times with a paid ad on facebook. I know how to do this. I will also send note to several thousand people on my various emails lists. We own three other La-Z-Boy products, but we will never buy them again.

I’ve moved in to a new place and purchased two recliners and a sofa from La-Z-Boy. Six months ago, I have had a chair from them and I like it very much. The cost of the products is in line with most other things so they're ilk. Also, I had an excellent dealing with their sales reps who were very helpful, friendly, and pleasant.

Cody at Thornton Furniture worked very hard to get my chair fixed. He went above and beyond and got a new back and repaired the chair. La-Z-Boy sent a new back since it is a heat and massage chair. It works great. Thanks to Thornton Furniture and La-Z-Boy!

I worked two jobs to buy my furniture last year. I was very happy with the La-Z-Boy Recliner for a little over a year then the connector to the heat and massage unit broke. The connector wire broke off and it will no longer work. I finally found someone to take it back to the store. The store emailed La-Z-Boy, email is the only way they can communicate with the warranty department.
La-Z-Boy told the store I would have to pay for an upholstery company to take the chair apart and refix it. The broken part would be covered but not the repair. If I had known they would not honor their warranty, I would have purchased another chair. I am very disappointed. The store is trying to work with La-Z-Boy to take care of the chair. But it looks like I will be out a lot of money to fix my chair. I have an injured back and often go to my chair in the middle of the night to get relief. The heat and massage USED to help. Not anymore. Just sad, I spent so much money and just have a regular recliner now.

I have also purchased Warehouse Furniture because of 4 boys and cats and dogs in the house. Kids are grown and only an old chihuahua. So I wanted something of good quality for our new lake house. I went to La-Z-Boy and ordered the color I wanted. After 14 weeks I received the furniture, nothing wrong to not accept it, because the delivery people stated they were responsible for damage only and not what it looked like or the mechanics. I AM SO UPSET and DISAPPOINTED. Not 1 piece of the section was perfect and the swivel recliner is loud and understuffed. My review is long so I won't go into everything that is wrong. I could have gone to a warehouse and received better quality at half the price. So much for a name brand you thought highly of.

We had a La-Z-Boy couch that lasted so long and we liked its durability and we were replacing it with another La-Z-Boy. We also liked that with La-Z-Boy, you can mix and match where you want things. The La-Z-Boy store in Rancho Cucamonga was awesome. Everyone was very welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable, and they didn't pressure us at all. We were able to have lunch and come back. Our purchase was a special order so they said we could expect it in six to eight weeks. A La-Z-Boy's cost is good as long as it's on sale. Sometimes if you get a product from a different specialized sofa store, and they have a similar brand where they have the similar coverage, it still costs a little bit less. So, we waited until La-Z-Boy went on sale. I wish they'd offer a loyalty reward like for 5% off. But other than that, they're wonderful.

All the experiences we've had with the La-Z-Boy sales reps were great. The delivery team was great as well. We just had a second delivery from La-Z-Boy on Tuesday over another piece of furniture and both experiences were great. They were here at the beginning part of the delivery window and gave me updates. They called and said they’d be here in 15 minutes and they were here when they said they would be. We love our new furniture. It's a bit more expensive than some other furniture places but when we got our first home, we wanted something cheaper and that’s why we needed to buy new furniture a couple of years later.

I bought my furniture just 2 years ago, noticed a broken board in my BREE loveseat and called at La-Z-Boy to notify them and fix my furniture since it is suppose to be quality furniture. They want to charge $195 an hr to come out and IF they have to order parts and service fee for that too. You would think after you spend $$$$ on furniture that it will be well constructed and they would stand behind their name. Apparently, that’s not the case. It’s a rip off! Don’t waste your money! It’s not as well built as they advertise.

Purchased 2 chairs from Sugar Land, TX La-Z-Boy, one chair fresh out of the wrap was not level. Contacted Tim at the Sugar Land Location, "I can't do anything, you have to call customer service." I was told to take them to the Cross Timbers location, Ray looked at them and measured one was 1/4 off, he said it's fine, I disagreed. Ray told me to call customer service, he would not let me use their phone to call their customer service, I waited 20 minutes to speak with Michelle on the phone, she was rude and unwilling to work with me in any way. I was left waiting for an additional 30 minutes for the paperwork to clear so I could return the defective merchandise. I had to then go to the Sugar Land store to get my money LESS 25% restocking fee. I have never been treated so badly as I was dealing with La-Z-Boy.

Purchased 2 recliners. Was happy with one. The one we were not pleased with, the material was not tight. It was wavy and was noticeable. We called the store and they sent a man out. He replaced the right arm. It still did not solve the problem. My husband passed away and that held me up for a few months. When I called the store they told me to come in and pick out a chair. All I wanted was the same chair with the upholstery done right.
I went to the La-Z-Boy store in Overland Park, Ks. where I purchased the chairs. I was told I could chose a chair off the floor or to get the same chair that I had I would have to pay several hundred dollars more. Not sure about their way of thinking. So I suggested that they come out a clean the stain that I had called about. They sent out a product for me to use and I called and told them that it didn't remove the whole stain. They then sent a lady out who came out and took pictures and would call me. Did not receive the called so I called them and was informed that they would not clean the chair. So, I would like to inform you that The service at the Overland Park, Store was deplorable and I will never purchase a Lazy Boy Product again.

I've had my La-Z-Boy furniture for at least a couple of months and I'm enjoying it. The sales rep was very cordial and informative. He had the information right at hand and they gave me a good deal. However, the installers didn’t spend much time demonstrating to me. They did the talking to my son who wasn’t going to use my furniture. I was trying to ask questions, but I was ignored. Other than that, I'm very pleased with my La-Z-Boy. It's very comfortable and it's attractive-looking, too.

La-Z-Boy has got the best furniture and we've had their product for a couple of years now. We bought a recliner from them last time and then a sofa loveseat this time. I could get furniture from other places and it will break down real fast, but the La-Z-Boy seems to be a better type of furniture and it stays up real good. Also, the gentleman who worked with us was very nice and polite and made sure he showed us everything in the store including what we could choose from. Then the delivery team came right on time, knew how to get the furniture in and got it right in here with no problem. They're polite, too. The furniture is really comfortable and has a much better quality than things that we've bought before.

We needed to replace our furniture and my fiancée decided to go with La-Z-Boy. We went to their store and they treated us really good. The lady we dealt with put very little pressure on us. We asked her questions and she showed us a lot of things. She was very friendly. I would buy again and we would recommend her. I told them that I'll be holding it off for four weeks because we are having a new floor and we got her to understand. La-Z-Boy was easy to deal with and they have offered good quality products. We can definitely recommend them to a friend. And if we would purchase for any additional that would be the perfect place to go.

I recently purchased 2 chairs at La-Z-Boy Express in Mansfield. While the salesman was talking to us, my husband made a comment about the tall man chairs being so large. The salesman then commented that several people had returned them after purchasing because they were so large. When I went to check out with the chairs, he knew I was apprehensive about the purchase, however he did not make any comment as to the fact of only having 48 hours to return the chairs.
Unfortunately after taking them home and having them for only 1 1/2 day, less than 48 hours, I called him to tell him I wanted to return the chairs as it was too high for me. He then stated to me that the chairs only returnable within 48 hours. I then said that the 48 hours were not up yet. He then said the manager had to agree to it, to return and exchange without a restock charge of 10%, and he, the manager was not working that day. I then asked could he call the manager, but he said he couldn’t do that. He acted like it was a very big deal to return and exchange the chairs because they might have bugs or hair in the chairs. He said he was noting the time that I called, meaning I assumed that the manager would then make a decision the next day, as to whether he would exchange without a restock charge. The manager never called.
I will say that it was never explicitly asked by me about returning the chairs, I obviously didn’t think that would happen. However I do think it was a lie by omission by never stating at checkout that there was a time limit and a restock charge. Again, even though he knew I was hesitant. This is my fault, but I think that his whole behavior was wrong and improper. And I was very bothered and upset by his lack of concern or help in the matter of returning the chairs. I should have just taken them back that day and paid the 10% restock charge. I will only say that if you purchase at La-Z-Boy Express, make sure that you explicitly ask and are explicitly answered as to the return policy, as they are obviously deceptive or at least not forthright in that regard. The reason I am writing the review is that I do not think that this was fair.

I recently bought a chair from La-Z-Boy in Altamonte Springs FL on 7/21/17 and it had fabric issue and mechanism issues once delivered, so I contacted customer relations and talked to Angie. After sending out a La-Z-Boy inspector to examine the chair, it was determined that a credit back should be approved. Angie informed me I could go back to La-Z-Boy and apply a credit to a new chair, but she did not inform me of the actual amount of that credit.
Only once I went back to La-Z-Boy did I find out the credit back wasn’t the full amount I paid for the chair from start to finish, it did not include the $99 delivery. I understand when I choose a new chair I'll have to pay for delivery for that chair, but cant for the life of me understand why I cant be credited back the $99 on the 1st (defective) chair. La-Z-Boy Reps have already established the chair was worn and in sub-par condition.
So why should I have to pay for that 1st initial delivery??? Why should La-Z-Boy take from me $99 on a product that was defective and damaged... And if for some reason that $99 cant be credit back on delivery, then surely there must be some a way to apply $99 back to me in another form. I spent over $500 on a defective chair, and now you're saying I cant get it all back and apply it to a new chair. It should be a credit that includes the chair: $411.49 + Shipping $99.95. AND NOT A CREDIT BACK OF ONLY $411.49. This whole event has really disillusioned me, I thought LA-Z-BOY was better than this.

We've had La-Z-Boy for 20 years and wanted to buy new ones. Their rep answered our questions and had a lot of information. They were pleasant and knew the product well. Their delivery team was very professional. They set everything right where we wanted it and made sure that it was centered. The furniture's quality is very good and we would purchase from them again. It was a good experience and I would recommend them.

The Manchester CT store manager, Ruth, and designer, Everton, have been great to work with through this entire process. They have gone out of their way to provide exceptional customer service.

Ordered a sofa, chair w/ ottoman, sectional with ottoman and an additional chair for our new home. I am very happy with all but one chair, as the chair does not sit level. It is on a swivel base and the front of the chair leans toward the ground, making this an uncomfortable seat for anyone. I expressed my concerns to customer care. They refused to allow me to return the defective chair. Instead, they are on the 3rd attempt to fix it. The repairman is not even confident the fix will work. When I called a second time requesting to exchange this chair for another, I was accused of having buyers remorse. Not true. I just want a functional chair for the money spent. As is, this chair is wasting space and will not be used.
In addition was criticized for having this chair for a month now. The ONLY reason this chair has been in our possession for a month is due to La-Z-Boy's attempts to fix the chair, as it take time to order parts and get the repairman back here multiple times. It is also a hassle for me to make myself available for each visit. I am asking for an exchange, not a refund. I had plans to buy additional items for our new home from La-Z-Boy as I love the Other pieces, however, I have placed those plans on hold due to the horrible customer service I have received so far.

My older son was the one who put me on to La-Z-Boy. He bought a brown leather set and he always said that he had it for years and never had any problems with it. I decided that when I look for something, I'm going with La-Z-Boy and I found one in Monroeville. I liked the hospitality and the warm welcome that we had at the store. We were treated really nicely and they did what they said they were going to do.
My first La-Z-Boy was just a brown couch, and I've had it for over 12 years and I got tired of it. I really wanted three pieces and this time, I got the couch and two chairs for my TV room. I got them in October and so far, I love what I bought. I’ve changed the room altogether and I like the color scheme so I’m looking forward to Thanksgiving and what my sons' wives are going to say. I have six sons and they’ll be coming in with their families from Maryland and Virginia. The manager at the store called me about the delivery which went great. The guys knew what they were doing and did an excellent job. They asked me how and where I wanted my couch and my chairs and they placed everything very nicely. I’d recommend La-Z-Boy to anybody and I will even be back to buy something else.

My wife and I visited your store in our town and met your sales associate Erik ** who was very professional and helpful. After listening to our needs, Erik suggested that Ariana ** (interior designer) visit our home to come up with some ideas and do a 3D design. We met a week later (10/20/17) at the store and looked over Ariana’s suggestions and design. We ended up ordering a couch, two swivel chairs, two end tables and lamps, coffee table, ottoman, and wall art. We were told it would take 6-8 weeks before delivery. Two weeks ago we were informed that the couch and chairs are somewhere in Arkansas on a truck ready for delivery but due to the hurricane in the Gulf there’s a lack of drivers to haul furniture to your customers. This isn’t the customer service I expect from La-Z-Boy. If you can’t deliver our furniture can I pick up our order myself?

We just built a new home and we purchased a sectional and accessories from La-Z-Boy. We like that their products are made in America. We also have a La-Z-Boy recliner for about 20 years now. La-Z-Boy has a relaxed atmosphere to let you make your mind up and with their help. Their sales reps are the most cooperative and knowledgeable people that I have dealt with in a long time in retail. They seem to know everything about the product. I tell them one thing and they can direct me which way to go. They also designed our living room for us. Jill was our design girl and she did a great job.
The delivery team was good, too. Some of the tables were not put together right and there were some scuffs and dirt on the upholstery. They came and cleaned and resolved those issues. The store manager saw to it that any issue that we had was resolved immediately. They've been in touch with us whenever there's a sale, or something's going on, or if there's something that might accent what we have.

I remodeled my family room and kitchen so I purchased a sectional from La-Z-Boy and had an excellent experience. The sales representative was extremely helpful in picking out the color and how we could put it together so it would work in our room. We tested the furniture at the store and it was great. The cost of the product seemed fair. I would recommend La-Z-Boy to a friend.

I've made several La-Z-Boy purchases over 15 years. Having moved, I purchased new furniture and the staff at the La-Z-Boy store were very good. However, when they sent out my furniture, one of them had a broken leg. We wouldn't accept it since if we sat on it, the whole thing would've fallen off. They were supposed to call me about it the following week because the parts should've come in, but they didn't. I had to call the store back and it was a terrible experience. Finally, the store manager took hold of the situation and they ended up sending me a new chair. This took about 3-4 weeks. The delivery people were excellent and very nice. It wasn't their fault but they kept saying that they were sorry. They also said they couldn't believe that they were made to load it up on the truck and bring it because they saw that the leg was broken.

Our sectional was 15 years old with a lot of wear and it was ready for something new. We had gone to many different furniture stores before we decided on La-Z-Boy. I like that they're made in America, and I could get whatever fabric and color I wanted. The sales rep was very helpful because we needed to choose different fabrics to match the new carpet. She helped us to get colors, fabrics and styles, so she did a good job. I'm waiting for the furniture to be delivered, but it’s been a great experience so far.

My cousin bought a sectional from La-Z-Boy. My daughter also purchased a recliner from them. When our sofa had become so uncomfortable that it was driving us crazy, we bought a recliner, a sofa, and a love seat from them, too. Their rep, Linda, was absolutely wonderful. She was helpful, polite, and sweet as can be. The delivery team called when they were 30 minutes out and the delivery went exactly as they said it would. We've had our new furniture for a month and so far, so good. We're really satisfied and everything came out exactly as how we would expect it. It was a really good experience.

My sister and I bought a chair from the Waco, TX La-Z-Boy store and the saleslady was dishonest. She told me since I spent over $1,500 I receive the leather conditioner for free. I was subsequently charged $100. She misrepresented the quality of the chair as the chair has broken down to the point of being able to feel the springs, etc. I have called the store and they referred me to a customer service number where I only get a voicemail response. I did purchase a 3 year extended warranty; however, I have not been able to contact a representative yet. If this issue does not get addressed and resolved, I will definitely consider legal action. At this point it will be worth spending more than the chair is worth to get this company to honor their product and change their quality assurance process.

We had a couch and a loveseat from La-Z-Boy for 20 years and we're replacing them with two power recliners because we’re remodeling. The cost is comparable to other furniture manufacturers and we’ve been very pleased with the quality of the furniture we've had so we went back to La-Z-Boy. The sales rep was kind and she helped us out a lot. We have the recliners scheduled for delivery at the end of the month. I like that the recliner has power all the way on the lumbar, neck, shoulder, legs and the seat and having that in the loveseat, couch and the recliners is huge, especially since my wife has back problems. The experience has been outstanding. La-Z-Boy is doing great and they should keep doing what they’re doing.

I donated my other furniture to the Goodwill and I wanted something new. The La-Z-Boy sales reps were great and got a loveseat from them. There was a little mishap about it as far as I could you pay with a check or not but we got that straight now so everything was okay. They did a wonderful job with the delivery too. I've had the loveseat for a month now and I love it. I enjoy it and I would recommend La-Z-Boy to a friend.

We ordered 2 leather electric powered La-Z-Boy chairs. It took five weeks to receive them. When we did receive them and we were able to sit in them, they were not what we expected. They do not fit the same as the chair that we sat in at the store. The chairs both feel like you are leaning forward and you could fall out of the chairs. We have tried all the positions that are available on the chairs. I cannot get it to feel comfortable. My husband and I are not happy with the chairs. We went to the La-Z-Boy store where we got the chairs the next day. We sat in the chair in the store that we thought we would be getting and it would feel somewhat the same. The chair in the store was just how we wanted ours to be. Our chairs are not at all the same.
A lady asked if she could help us and if we were interested in buying chairs. We told her that we got 2 chairs yesterday and that we are not happy with them. She then went on to say to me after I told her how our chairs felt and pointing at my shoes, "How long did it take you to break in those shoes on your feet?" "It takes time to break in your leather La-Z-Boy chair." I told her how the chair felt and she said that the chair we sat in at the store had been in there for 3 years. It had had a lot of people sitting in the chair. It had been well broken in. She said we needed to give it 30, 60 or 90 day and it would start breaking in. Seriously, that is not an answer I wanted to hear. She said that if I bought a baseball glove that it would take time to break it in.
Then she also said that she bought a new car one time and that the seats did not feel comfortable to her for the first couple of weeks. Then she said it got better and she liked her car seat better. She was trying to tell me things that didn't even pertain to me. She was belittling me and making me feel as if there was not a thing that could change my situation. You bought the chairs and now it may take 3 years to break them in. Then she handed me a Comfort Care business card and said to call them if I thought there was a problem with the chairs’ comfort. Maybe they would have to take out some of the foam and reupholster a brand-new chair.
What in the world is right with this picture, NOTHING! CAN I GET SOMEONE TO LISTEN TO MY CRIES FOR HELP! I AM NOT HAPPY AND I DO NOT WANT THESE CHAIRS! How is it that they need time to break them in and you only have 3 days to return them with a 30% restocking fee. There is not any kind of a positive outcome for the consumer and their rights. It looks like that I would have to buy more merchandise from La-Z-Boy store. I don't think I can get my money back. I know of no other store that treats their customers so badly as I was treated.
I would never recommend a La-Z-Boy Chair to anyone period. I will tell them about my experience and tell them to run as fast as you can to another company. By the way the lady that I was speaking with was the Manager of the store. I told her that her and I would not see eye to eye on anything that she was telling me. She didn’t care, she just took care of another unhappy customer and on to the next one. I went out of the store in tears and heartbroken that I did not get satisfaction with my very real concerns. It’s Thanksgiving morning and she told me that this day would not count as one of my 3 days. I may still try on Friday the day after Thanksgiving and try to make a return.
I may lose of $1,000.00 on this terrible transaction. I just can't hardly stand the thought. I have been waiting for a long time to buy 2 new chairs for my husband and I. Utterly disappointed in my experience with the La-Z-Boy Company. I should have read the reviews online before I purchased these chairs. There are so many bad reviews, I could not believe my eyes. I would take this all back if you could contact me and give me a better option on my outcome. Please, send this message to someone that will listen and help me with my problem. My furniture was getting old so I decided to buy a power sofa and a power recliner from La-Z-Boy. Their reps were wonderful and very knowledgeable. I was in the store for four hours just looking around and trying to make up my mind and they were right there to help. I had the things delivered and they came a little bit before the time, which was great. And the guys were very nice, and very helpful too. The quality is good and the cost seems that it was a moving sale. I had a very good experience, and I would go back.

I have been using La-Z-Boy furniture for about five years. I recently purchased from them since we moved into a smaller area. They delivered the sectional and recliner about two months ago. La-Z-Boy also has to replace our sofa table and end table because there were gouges on them and they were discontinued. We got the replacement on that the other day. La-Z-Boy showed them to us online and I'm not 100% sure that we like them. I have to go to the store to see if they're distressed or if there are chunks missing in this new stuff. And the one end table is different than the other two pieces which we weren't expecting so I want to go and talk to them about that. Even the little table that’s hardwood doesn’t appear to have the little notches in it but the other one that’s part stone and part wood does.
The furniture was good and they look nice but I’d like it cheaper. The sales reps, Stefanie and Jill, were phenomenal. They came to our house twice and have been more than helpful. I would recommend La-Z-Boy just for those two people. But overall, we're very happy with our whole shopping experience with La-Z-Boy.

I purchased a power leather recliner in July and had problems within 1 month after purchase date. After 1 month the left arm needed replaced. After 2 months the seat needed replaced. Now the right arm needs replaced. The construction of these chairs are so awful that the material underneath the leather moves! Do yourself a favor and don't go to this store!!!

We've had a La-Z-Boy recliner for about 12 years. Then we've moved across the country and needed new furniture so we purchased two recliners. The La-Z-Boy sales rep knowledgeable enough to make me spend about $6,000. The recliners are a little expensive but are of good quality. They are high above my head but I like them.

I already researched from their website as to what I wanted before I went there. The sales reps were good and knowledgeable. They were able to tell me about the different fabric options that were available. They also mentioned about warranties when I came back to do the actual purchase. I got the sofa delivered and the delivery team showed up within the window that they said they would and they assembled it real quick. It was easy.

We gave our furniture to our daughter so we needed new ones. I then bought two recliners and a sofa from La-Z-Boy. When we went to the store, we were greeted at the door quickly. Their sales associate was very helpful. When it came down to ordering fabrics, she forwarded us onto the interior designer for him to come out to our home for the in-home consultation, which we liked. We have never experienced that before, but we enjoyed having them come out and tell us about our space and talk to us about colors. The gentleman who did that was fantastic. We would have made the wrong selections if we were on our own.
I then had the products delivered to our house and our experience with their delivery team has been good. They were on time and were very helpful in educating us as to how the recliners went together. They also showed us areas where we can take a look at the units further. So far, the quality of the products is very good. The fabric has held up very well with us having two cats. The cost is higher than what we would have liked, but the quality is there.

I was happy to be refunded the $80.00 that I paid for repair service on leather. Since La-Z-Boy cannot repair the leather trim which is turning from brown to orange I can use this money to hire a leather furniture repair or have it recovered. La-Z-Boy in Colorado Springs has excellent customer service. I would not recommend La-Z-Boy leather to friends and family. Manager in Colorado Springs has always been professional and I am not holding him responsible for the inferior product. It is just the trim that is a vinyl or simulated product turning orange which is upsetting when I paid $3,800.00 for both pieces. Live and learn! Thank you ConsumerAffairs.

Called La-Z-Boy about leather trim on $3,800 chair and love seat turning from dark brown to orange. I called for a repair, lady at the store said I could drive to their store, they would give me a bottle of brown dye or she could have their professional repair the damage for $80.00. I wanted the repair done professionally so I agreed. Repair man came on a Saturday, said he did not have supplies with him. He asked for a paper towel and started to apply dye on trim over my carpet. I stopped him and gave him towels to place over carpet. After one minute he said he could not repair trim. He suggested an upholstery repair place in town to call. Why did they not tell me that by phone and save me $80.00. If La-Z-Boy cannot repair their leather why advertise that. Found out trim is not leather. Maybe vinyl.

It appears I'm not alone in my disappointment in the quality of LA-Z-BOY furniture. I bought a leather recliner for my daughter and son-in-law as a gift and they have had one problem after the other --- cotter pins keep coming loose, the electric recline has had problems, head adjust doesn't even work anymore and now the leather (18 months into using it ) is cracking and peeling off the leather (PAINTED???). Ugh, the chair is horrible looking, it is the poorest quality chair I have ever purchased and it was NOT cheap $$$. The store we purchased the chair at in Spokane has the attitude of "so sorry, so sad, too bad". Would I recommend LA-Z-BOY to my friends and family? No. Matter of fact I will warn them not to waste their money.

The La-Z-Boy living room set that I replaced was 12 and a half years old. I just had it cleaned and the furniture is still comfortable and still looks nice, but I’m tired of looking at it. So, I recently purchased a power sofa from La-Z-Boy and some accessories. I knew what I was looking for when I went to the store. I moved around and sat on a whole bunch of sofas, and the rep came over and talked to me and I told her what I wanted. She was very helpful but she didn’t bother me, and when I needed her, she was right there.
The delivery team was great but the only problem was when the sofa arrived, it had a spot on the front left from the very bottom and it looked like the color had been rubbed completely off. It was white and it was bad. They told me that they could send a technician out to fix it if I liked, but I said no. I refused the sofa because I paid too much money for that and I was not accepting something that was not perfect. The coffee table and end table that I got were fine. They took the sofa back with them and they had someone from La-Z-Boy call me and schedule to deliver a replacement. I got it three days later so there wasn’t a big delay. They immediately responded and brought me a new sofa, and I’m very happy with the quality of furniture I received. I had a great experience with them and when I need furniture again, I’ll be back there.

20 years ago, I bought a couch and a loveseat from La-Z-Boy and I have had that for 10 years. Then when that needed to go, we bought something from Living Spaces which I did not like but we have had that for 12 years so it was time to get a new one. I went back to La-Z-Boy because I knew they would be good. The salesperson was super nice too. I was there for at least two hours and she took her time with me. She was very detail oriented and helpful and I loved the experience. The only bummer was that I couldn’t get everything in one delivery. They said if the items were in stock, the order would ship soon but that was three weeks ago. I got my couches, the chairs and the table in one delivery but the rest of the stuff had to be shipped in and I’m getting that this coming Friday.
The price on the couches was definitely reasonable and the quality is excellent but the accessories were on the high buy. I bought a desk and it was $600 which was a little ridiculous for a desk but it went with everything else and the salesperson caught me in a mood where I was wanting to spend money. Despite that, it was overall a good and easy experience.

I purchased this Rowan Electric Leather recliner in leather and power 2 years ago. When I bought the chair for style, comfort and for the reputation of La-Z-Boy. Shortly after that I had service due to lack of lumbar and seat cushion comfort. They put in a new fill in the back and seat. Again shortly the support is gone. The chair is super uncomfortable. I called today and was told that they would charge me service and parts for the same crappy stuff again. There must be a defect in the quality of the materials being used for this model as for the same issue again. Why would I pay additional money over the $1800 tag to purchase additional sub-standard equipment? I have to say I am highly disappointed in the quality of La-Z-Boy. Stay away far from this item. When I posted this review on their site, all reviews were deleted for the product???

I purchased a sofa and two accent chairs on Labor Day 2017 with extended warranty for each close to $3,000. The salesperson and manager were really pleasant during the transaction process and very accommodating. I was told the sofa was available in the warehouse but the accent chairs are not but there is shipment on the 10th of Sept. I told them I needed the furniture before end of September because I have guests coming from across the country. I was given the impression that I will have the chairs close to the end of September and so went home confident that there will be no problem to discard my old furniture already. I haven't gotten any calls and so was thinking all is okay. I called the store Sept 25th and asked for the status of the chairs.
Manager 'checked' something and told me the chairs are not available but there is a shipment scheduled early October. But he said he will check what happened to the chairs scheduled to be shipped on Sept 10th and will call me back. No call received and so have to call the next day and still no answer to what happened to the chairs. I asked if there could be loaners that I can use so my guests will have chairs to sit on. Said will call me again as soon as he gets answer from I don't know. Called me back only to say there was something wrong with the chairs that caused the delay of shipment and also no loaners. In short, I have to figure out quick where to get chairs for my guests. And so next day I picked my sofa from their warehouse, which is miles away, because my guests are arriving that evening! October came and went, still no word about my chairs' arrival.
Finally, I got an automated courtesy call on Nov. 2nd that my chairs arrived and available for pick up. Got a call from the store's manager the following Monday or Tuesday to tell me that my chairs have arrived and can pick them up from the warehouse and my payment of at $1200 will be accepted at the warehouse! I was like, "WHAT PAYMENT?!!" I had the sofa, chairs, and the warranties under their Labor Day special finance promo. I reminded him about that and obviously didn't check his info before calling me. And added chairs arrived between 6-8 weeks of purchased. Reminded him none of that delivery term was mentioned. All he said was, "Oh, sorry." Nov 10th I picked up my 2 chairs from the warehouse.
The chairs were loaded with the legs facing each other. When my daughter and I were unloading them, I saw the rip in the under liner of one of the chairs. I immediately called the warehouse and was told to send photos. I sent photo but the email was not delivered due to confusion on the email addy given. I finally called the next day since I haven't heard from the warehouse employee and was told no email was received. I verified the email and didn't have the correct one. The employee (who by the way was very accommodating) emailed me so I can have the correct addy. Resent the photos and was told will hear from employee Monday since it's about closing time. Didn't hear from anyone Monday. Thursday I emailed the employee and no response.
I called today Saturday Nov 18th and was told the employee is out on Thursday and Friday and will be back Tuesday. The employee who answered my call today told me will relay my call to the employee I was dealing with and I should call the warranty company because they are not allowed to file or speak for the customers. Much as I have been wanting to have La-Z-Boy furniture in my house and the mere fact I heard their advertisement from a Christian radio, I think my plan of purchasing more from La-Z-Boy has been scratched. Furniture may be beautiful but if experience is bad, they're not worth it.

I moved to a new house and it was time to change the color of my furniture. La-Z-Boy had what I liked. When I went in, the female approached and asked me if I needed any help. She directed me to the area I was interested in. I looked around and then she gave me all the information and I came back when I was ready to purchase. Another woman helped me and I ordered it.
The delivery team did a good job. They kept their word by being on time and showed up when they needed to. They set it all up and everything looked good. The quality of the furniture is very good. It was a little on the expensive side but it was worth it. I also like the fact that you could customize your own pillows. I was able to pick out the fabric in the store and they designed the pillows. It was indeed an awesome experience. I’m satisfied and I’d go back there again.

I purchased one power recliner and a regular recliner from La-Z-Boy for my grandmother. The delivery team was fine. They carried the chair up and set it at the top of the steps just like I asked. However, I was a little frustrated because we had to buy the chair off the floor - the chair that everybody sits in when they test them out - because the sales rep said that was the only thing they had available. I also didn't get any kind of compensation for having picked the floor model. The sales rep was a little bit insensitive about that. And even though I had to take it home with me that day, I still paid shipping for two items. Nonetheless, it was great with La-Z-Boy. It was a pretty expensive purchase for two recliners, but nothing else that we looked at was up to the quality that my grandparents wanted.

We moved into a different apartment that has a lot more room. We bought two recliners and two end tables from La-Z-Boy. We had to exchange one chair because it had a tear in it and we also exchanged the two end tables because one had a scratch. We’re very pleased they exchanged the chair and delivered two more end tables for us. The sales rep was very nice and I would go to him again in a minute. The delivery team was very kind and respectful. They put together the two recliners and placed it where we wanted it. La-Z-Boy had a good sale plus they have a reputation for having good furniture. We are satisfied to have gotten our furniture from La-Z-Boy.

I've had La-Z-Boy furniture for 20 years and we're pleased with them. My couch wore out between the sun hitting and fading it, and we got grandkids who ripped it. The sales reps that came were very professional. They laid everything out for us and we did some color picking first. The recent purchase is still being made and they said it will take four to six weeks to be done. It's our third purchase with them and every time, we had a good experience. Their showroom is also very nice.

Leather on my La-Z-Boy recliner is "stuffing" off. It has worn prematurely. You can see a lighter fabric underneath and looks like someone literally sprayed painted the leather like substance on. I bought top of the line and am saddened that La-Z-Boy ripped me off.

I have been having La-Z-Boy for the last 20 years and I had a good experience with them. Recently, I replaced an item with a recliner. Their salespeople were very nice and explained everything. Their delivery crew was on time and were also very courteous. They had booties on so they didn't track any mud. Everything was excellent.

We’ve had our old furniture for a while, so it was just not comfortable anymore. We recently ordered a sectional from La-Z-Boy two weeks ago. We’ve been happy with our La-Z-Boy recliners and they have a good reputation. Our sales rep Carolyn and she was very helpful. We needed a lot of help with dimensions because we had a limited space and she helped us find the perfect piece for that. I was very satisfied with her help. We liked pieces that are a little bit firmer and the one that we chose was very comfortable. The sectional's style was one of the things we liked as well because it wasn’t bulky. We have limited space and we wanted a sectional, so it fits nicely.

I shopped in the Middletown, NY store. The customer service couldn't have been better. The designer and the sales staff were so helpful and professional. They definitely put the customer first. I spent hours with Will and Lee (**) and they were patient and pleasant. The delivery men were also courteous and professional. Shop there and you will be pleased!

I had purchased a sofa and a loveseat from La-Z-Boy. I needed a new set and I dealt with Jennifer. She was very professional and low pressure, which was a nice thing. She helped us all with the spatial planning to make it fit in the room. She couldn’t have been better. I ordered it on a Monday and had it the following Saturday. The delivery team was good. They came within their timeframe. They were very polite and very careful. They didn’t damage anything. My sectional is a nice sturdy piece, and it's extremely comfortable. You could tell it's not junk. It's well-made and worth its price. I ended up going back, and I bought some accessories and a table. It's nice that they have items together that go with each other because I even bought a rug that was matched with a couch at half price. They have good designers. They also offer quality products and they treat you with class.

We've purchased from La-Z-Boy before and the last time we walked into their store, we happen to hit out a good sale. I even said that if we don't find anything, we can shop next year. And if we don't find anything next year, we can shop the year after. There was no pressure on ourselves. It was just finding the right product that made us buy new furniture. And since we bought everything for the living room, we got an extra 5% off.
The supervisor who ended up helping us was excellent. Her name is Dawn and she walked us through everything. The delivery team was very good as well. They were there when they told us everything we needed to know. In addition to that, it was nice to have a person come to our house to look at the space and told us some ideas. And then when we went back, she was actually the one that picked out our rug and lamp. It's not something I would've chosen but I'm very pleased. La-Z-Boy has quality furniture at a fair price. We even recommended them to my sister-in-law.

I purchased a Briggs Power Recline XR in July of this year. It had to be made and I received it on September 21, 2017. Since I received the chair, I have noticed a strong musky/pungent odor in my living room. After thoroughly going through my entire home cleaning and airing out thinking it was something in my house, I began feeling very nauseous from the smell. After much searching, I finally found the problem - it is the "leather" chair! I need to know if what kind of leather was used on this chair. I have to wonder if it is a "BONDED LEATHER" which is shredded leather that's been glued together? I have this Recliner sitting next to another La-Z-Boy Recliner I bought many years ago which has never had any type of smell and the leather is of a much higher quality?? I need to know what grade of leather this "Harmony Leather" is?
When I bought this Recliner, I specifically explained that I wanted the highest grade of leather possible (I have emails from the Salespeople stating this.) I need to have this problem addressed ASAP so that I can get this awful smelling Recliner out of my home. I have not tried any remedies to possibly get rid of the smell because I don't want to void my warranty in any way and I am also concerned that it could be a glue or other chemicals from the manufacturing process?

We’ve had a couple of purchases from La-Z-Boy a long time ago and this was only our second time to buy furniture as we had to buy a replacement for the ones that had been damaged in the flood. We returned to La-Z-Boy because it was more of the kind of stuff that we used. I really don’t know how much are the prices, but I think they’re pretty reasonable compared to the other furniture stores. The sales rep helped us do the order and the selection of the fabrics and the delivery team was fine. La-Z-Boy furniture is reliable and of good quality.

Our other La-Z-Boy furniture were 20 years old and they were still comfortable, but they were outdated. So we got two sofas, a chair with an ottoman and a coffee table, two end tables, an area rug and two layups from La-Z-Boy as replacement. We bought from them again because we had such good luck with their other furniture. The first day we went to their store, their sales rep was great and took a lot of time with us. She wanted us to be sure we were choosing what we wanted and she had us settled on different sofas and different chairs.
They also had a decorator who came to the house. We weren't sure of how all the furniture were going to fit so she did a sketch and put it on a computer. Then we had the units delivered. Their delivery team called us for the schedule and they came when they said they would. A couple of men carried everything in and placed them where we wanted them. So far, our new furniture are not as comfortable as our old La-Z-Boy stuff that we replaced them with. They're still a little stiff and we need to break them in. But I'm sure they will be just as comfortable as our old furniture in a little bit of time. Other than that, they look really nice and we're very satisfied with them.

We've had La-Z-Boy furniture for 10 years raising kids. It was a little rough around the edges because we had kids, dogs and cats. My son now has that set with his two kids and a dog, and it's still going strong. I absolutely love it. But we had a fire and lost everything in our home. We went back to La-Z-Boy to replace everything. The people at the store were wonderful. All in all, I had a fantastic experience with them.

We were looking for a sleeper sofa that's bigger than the old couch we had and we didn’t like what Macy’s had so we ended up at La-Z-Boy. My mom got a recliner from there before so I knew they had a store in town near my house. Their sales rep was great and we liked her very much. She helped us with the fabric, answered all our questions and measured stuff for us. We also called her with a question afterwards and she was wonderful. We had a great experience but we're still waiting for its delivery since supposedly, it won't be here until December.

I'm a buyer of La-Z-Boy for over 40 years now. I've had a sectional from them years ago. I also had a blue-beige lounge chair that I bought at their store in Grand Central, Hazleton, Pennsylvania. I like the comfort, the longevity, and the quality. You pay a little bit more, but you save in the long run. Recently, we moved from Pennsylvania to Massachusetts. We're in a townhouse and we wanted some nice, comfy piece of furniture. We purchased a sectional from La-Z-Boy in Saugus and I ordered another piece, too. They helped us. They were very informative and very professional. Nancy took care of us and she was real nice. They had a Columbus Day sale and I got a nice discount off it. They said it will be here from four to seven weeks, and I'm sitting on it now. Last night I feel asleep here. It's very comfortable. I've had a back surgery. So, it's a true test. The delivery team was wonderful, too. Everything was set in a matter of an hour. It was beautiful.

Whenever we sit on it we refer to it as "the marshmallow" because it is so so comfortable. Glad to purchase something manufactured in the USA of such high quality! In May 2014, we purchased a custom leather covered sofa bed from La-Z-Boy (the leather, we have found out, is NOT real leather... it's a bonded manmade product made to look like leather!). After being delivered to us, the sofa was found to have a few defects... a small tear in the lower back, bad fitting seat cushions and one arm with a very noticeable ripple on the left outside arm. The sofa was picked up by La-Z-Boy and taken to their local repair facility for appropriate attention. The hole was repaired, cushions redone (still don't fit!) and an attempt made to straighten out the rippled side panel (still rippled).
The arm with the rippled panel is now our concern. When doing the repair, the technician rearranged the padding under the top of the arm, pushing the padding towards the outer edge to take up the slack in the sagging leather side panel, basically robbing the padding from the inside front and top of the arm, pushing it over and leaving no support under the inside of the arm. Over a period of time, that portion of the arm that no longer has underpadding has begun to indent causing a series of small cracks in the leather covering. And the seam cording in this area has just recently begun to chip.
We called La-Z-Boy and, after explaining our problem to Cindy, she informed us we only had a 90 day warranty period on workmanship and material. Problem is, the area where the damage is occurring is not readily noticeable until pressure is placed on the arm and the cracking becomes visible. It took quite a bit more than 90 days for this cracking to start! Cindy advised us La-Z-Boy would not assume liability for the damage; however, for $120.00 she could send a technician to our house to inspect damage. Or, we could have La-Z-Boy pick up the sofa (at our expense) to bring it to the repair facility or, we could transport it ourselves to the facility! And any repair work would also be at our expense! We are not happy with La-Z-Boy's response and believe, because the technician did a poor repair that resulted in the cracking leather, we feel La-Z-Boy should assume all responsibility.
Post Script: We shopped for a sofa at several other furniture stores besides La-Z-Boy and mentioned to the LB salesperson that we had looked at a sofa at a well known Swedish based furniture store. The salesperson laughed and said if you buy one there, you will get exactly what you pay for!! Thinking back on his remark now, we are not so sure about that. We paid upwards of $3,000 for a La-Z-Boy sofa and we're not convinced we got our money's worth at La-Z-Boy! We are inclined to believe the Swedish made sofa might have been a better choice!

We chose La-Z-Boy for its quality. We bought a sofa recliner, a chair and a half and accessories, and their sales staff were great. They weren’t overbearing but they were there when I had questions and then they were very helpful when I had decided to purchase. We had custom upholstery and they told me that it would take about 6 to 8 weeks to finish. I thought that everything that was in stock would be delivered and then they would bring that other chair when it was ready but that’s not happening. They’re waiting to do one delivery. However, they sent me a thank you note which wasn’t necessary but was really sweet being that I only usually get bills in the mail so it was nice to get something besides bills.

When we purchased a new home, we needed furniture for it. We went to the same La-Z-Boy store we bought our first furniture from 10 years ago because the furniture lasts for a long time and we like its good quality. I was hoping and assuming that it's going to last us for a while. Their sales reps were very nice, friendly and helpful. We left and came back twice, and they let us know when they were going to be leaving and who to talk to when we got back. My husband picked up the power recliners we bought from them and didn’t have any complaints when he came back. We’re very satisfied with La-Z-Boy.

I spent close 5000 dollars on a living room set 4 yrs ago. I was told that it was more durable than leather. Perfect for pets. But they started to crack and peeling like painting falling off like big chunks. I feel like I was ripped off. The worse thing about it is that I went to the store to complain and they continue to sell this product according to their salesman. 5000 thousand for less than 4 years. That’s ridiculous. They not even offer to give me a discount to purchase new furniture. Please stay away from La-Z Boy.

My sister went to look for a chair but I ended up buying a loveseat and a sofa from La-Z-Boy. This was my first time to purchase from La-Z-Boy, though I've had a worn, hand-me-down La-Z-Boy chair for a long time. The furniture's quality is good and the sales reps were very good and helpful. However, we live more than 50 miles away and we hauled the furniture ourselves. It would have been helpful if there was an extra person or somebody with a little more insight on how to load stuff. They had one kid but it was a heavy sofa and loveseat that has electrical components. It was awkward to load but he did his best.

We have a La-Z-Boy order this coming Saturday and this would be our second major purchase. We've had La-Z-Boy furniture for at least 15 years. Our old furniture was already wearing out and it was time to upgrade. The sales rep, Stephanie, was phenomenal. Now that we've moved, we're dealing with the La-Z-Boy store up here in Great Northern Mall of North Olmsted and they seem to be very nice and very professional also. Also, the movers were extremely careful but very young. They missed putting one of the units that had an insert, but I saw it right away and I was able to fix it. It could be built so that the movers could have a little easier time putting it back together. Other than that, it's expensive but you get what you pay for. Everything we've purchased has been up to par with the price we paid.

I bought a new home and I purchased a mirror, a bench, a table, some throw pillows and two vases from La-Z-Boy. The sales reps were awesome and they made me want to go back there even if I didn’t purchase large furniture, just to keep going and see the little accessories they had. They were helping me decorate and with what I wanted, and they were great people that it was like I knew them forever. I took the items with me and the biggest one I purchased was the mirror. It has some nicks on it, which my mom noticed when we were wrapping it up and getting ready to take it home. I paid $350 for it and I haven’t hung that yet because I'm waiting to get my couch. I love all the things I purchased and I'm using everything, and I would definitely recommend La-Z-Boy and purchase from them again. It was like going to my best friend’s home and being able to pick out whatever I wanted.

We've moved to a new house and given away a lot of the old furniture. The first La-Z-Boy store that we went to wasn't so good. We couldn't get a straight answer on the delivery and it was a typical salesman. They were very unprofessional. We went to a different one and that was fine. We got honest answers. We wanted an identical recliner to what we already had and we had the model number and its fabric number. The rep was really nice. The delivery team brought it in and let us check it over. They helped move the other recliner out of the way. Overall La-Z-Boy is a good company and their products are dependable.

I received my recliner and it won't recline. Called the salesman who gave me the "service" number. Operator says someone will be out in a day or two. EIGHT DAYS later tech shows up looks at the chair for 2 minutes. "Yep it's broke." Still waiting for parts... Called store manager to make him aware. NO callback. *cue the crickets chirping*.

I was in a medical facility and they had a stiff chair in there that make my backache. So, I decided that I needed one here. It’s going to stay here when I left and make myself comfy. The La-Z-Boy rep I spoke to was very good. She showed me every chair they had and I bought the most expensive one. There was some confusion with the delivery, but they delivered it. There’s one thing that bothers me about the chair. I use it quite a bit and the lights come on quite often. I would recommend La-Z-Boy, though.

My daughter lives with me and it was time to upgrade our old furniture. I then purchased living room furniture from La-Z-Boy which includes a sofa, loveseat, two chairs, an ottoman, a big center carpet and a hutch for the dining room and two lamps as well. The interior decorators were fantastic. They went on the computer, drew up all the pictures, and put paintings on the walls. They helped us pick out the paint to go with the furniture. They helped us make choices and in that way, everything was perfect.
I enjoy communicating with the people at La-Z-Boy. And I also enjoyed walking to the store. I am greeted well and almost everyone calls me Ron. I’ve been in and out of that store so many times. And years ago, when my wife was sick, the manager helped picked a chair for one of the elevated chairs for her, and so we picked up a kind of a friendship and we had a good relationship over the years.

On February 2, 2015 we purchased our leather reclining sofa and matching chair. Both were delivered within the standard delivery time. We bought the Ultra Shield warranty for the leather sofa and the chair, as well as the leather kit. We contacted La-Z-Boy customer service a couple weeks ago and they gave us the Ultra Shield customer service number, since our problem was a leather issue. My husband and I do not have children or pets in the house. I sent Ultra Shield pictures of tears along the sides of the (left to right) seats on the left and middle sections, and color fading on the right seat, and our receipt. Our claim was rejected, reason - the warranty did not cover this kind of damage. The furniture is about 2 1/2 years old and looks awful. If we cannot have this resolved by La-Z-Boy, Fairfax, VA we will not buy another product. This is our second La-Z-Boy Furniture set.

We purchased a La-Z-Boy recliner set for our den in 2013 during the store's Veterans Day Sale with the clear understanding that we were buying LEATHER. We explained to the sales rep that durability was a high priority for us, and were assured that the genuine leather upholstery would withstand many years of home use. Barely a year later the "PLEATHER" fabric we were actually sold was starting to flake off the furniture, exposing the white fabric underneath. We have no pets or children and keep our furniture covered with throws for protection. Numerous calls and emails to La-Z-Boy have been met with a royal runaround. We have sent letters, pictures, copies of our original order, to no avail.
At one point we were even told the 5 year LEATHER PROTECTION PLAN we paid for was invalid... because we didn't purchase leather furniture (????). Well, that's what we were SOLD on the showroom floor! Obviously it was not what was delivered. Our bad apparently for not discovering the bait and switch the day the set arrived at our house. Now after over two years of being stonewalled, the FAKE "leather" furniture is a total loss, and we might as well have flushed the money we so carefully saved for our dream La-Z-Boy set down a toilet. We will never, ever purchase another La-Z-Boy product, and are warning all our family and friends to shop elsewhere.

the section in the center was overstuffed that it was poking out a bit more than the other two. And maybe the middle cushion is just a little taller but it is going to work out all right. I just wish that all the cushions in the back have been exactly the same. I would not expect them to take it back and redo it.

I recently moved out and was looking to buy a chair for the living room. The Power Heat and Massage Recliner from La-Z-Boy have been amazing. It's comfortable. I take naps in it and I use the massage after work. The sales reps were very polite and helped me with whatever I needed. Then the delivery went pretty smoothly. The delivery men showed up and they put it where I wanted it. I also had a nice talk with them. I've had the chair for almost two months now and it's still going strong. It was a really good experience the whole way through.

Warranty is useless. Customer care is anything but that. In late September 2017, I noticed a small tear on the back of my recliner. My recliner sits in an open area (see picture). I call La-Z-Boy Customer Care. After waiting 15 minutes for a representative, a ticket was set up and technician was scheduled. Technician stated the damage was done by a rub but would submit to La-Z-Boy.
The company never called, I called two weeks later. They advised it was pending review. I just called, 6 weeks later, and was told the computer shows a representative left a message, but couldnt tell me what number a message was left at. I asked for a manager. The manager states the system says a voice message was left and they agree with the technician.
Probably should wait and write a clearer and more detailed description of how I really feel about this company and their customer service. I will never purchase nor recommend a La-Z-Boy product. I am not a fabric expert and have no idea about wear patterns, but this I do know - my chair has been in the same place since delivery and there has never been anything behind it. So how did it tear? Tear is along an internal wood piece in middle right of chair.

We've been with La-Z-Boy for a long time but I purchased Power Lift about a month ago. I got arthritis and was looking for something to give me a little relief because I could hardly walk around when I get up at morning. I was in real pain when I bought the Power Lift chair. I sat down on it and it started heating me up, vibrating and massaging so I said, "I got to take it home". The cost was fair, they gave me a great material with a warranty on it too. They delivered it and they want to get paid for it so I gave hem a $100 bucks to bring it home. I jumped on it, rode it, I worked a little bit and I fell in love with it.

We needed a recliner for my husband’s surgery. He was having a shoulder replacement plus he’d always wanted one. We bought one at the La-Z-Boy in Roseville and the rep that helped us was really excellent. She was very knowledgeable and she went out of her way to get it here quickly because my husband was having surgery. She was very helpful about the correct chair that went to my husband’s body and I couldn’t ask for better service. The delivery guys were also courteous and everything got set up correctly.

Not happy with this sectional, the Devon. We had it a few years and today while doing a complete fall clean noticed three areas that are falling apart. One area is the pillow back, coming unsewn. This is the middle curved section that no one really sits on. The other area is the back of the curved section. The Staples are coming out of the back cover. The third area is the back of the long section. The area between the two pillow backs is coming apart. I believe the frame is broken in two spots and when we can we will fill these sections over to look.
Overall we take care of our belongings. The kids don't hop or jump on our sofa. These areas are things that over time just fell apart. Would not recommend this sectional to anyone. As these problems are not covered we have to fix ourselves. The quality of La-Z-Boy has gone downhill as with all stuff these days. I should of got a sofa from Bob's as I would not have spend so much and would just buy new crap, as that is what this sectional is.

We bought an electric lounge chair that goes up and down from La-Z-Boy, and it is very nice. We had a set of lounge chairs that fit together, and it had the centerpiece that is a theatre chair type but when we moved, they were too large for the room that they would be in. So we ended up having another chair that we used and the La-Z-Boy one added to the room, and they fit very well together now.
The representatives from La-Z-Boy were excellent. And the delivery went really well. I was here waiting for them and they came at the time that they said they would. I gave them a little advice as to where they should go through the house where they might have easier access and they did that. They hooked the chair up and it works fine. We were very pleased to get exactly what we wanted. If another need comes up, we would go back to La-Z-Boy and we would recommend it too.

We had a couple of recliners and a couch which we got from La-Z-Boy. My wife decided to donate them to a priest who just came from an old country and needed furniture. To replace them, we had our first sectional from La-Z-Boy. We had a good sales rep and the manager took care of us there. I did a blueprint of our room and they brought it up with the sectional, even with the right color we wanted, so we could see how it would fit. And it fits in our room perfectly. The cost was a little more than what we wanted to pay, but we went to La-Z-Boy for the quality it was built in. We knew that we wouldn’t have to buy any more for the rest of our lives. The delivery was made when they said they would and they set everything up. We really like the sectional and it’s very comfortable. La-Z-Boy met all our needs and was very professional. We were very satisfied.

Just spent one hour on Friday at La-Z-Boy store trying to get service on a 7 year warranty after calling for weeks. No one is assuming responsibility and will not refund warranty premium on a NEW purchase. I've spent almost $6000 on La-Z-Boy products in the past 2 years and am dissatisfied with the product duration. Still waiting to speak with ANOTHER representative.
Warranty was sold as 7 year all parts! It was not disclosed (even the manager couldn't find the clause) that the warranty could not be revoked on a new purchase. If their intention was to make a customer feel insignificant and scammed, then they have definitely succeeded! What are you prepared to do to achieve a "valued " customer's satisfaction? They experienced a 7% increase in sales this past year thanks, in part, to me. You're welcome. Am awaiting a response. Not a party line.

Salesperson was ok but I did not realize the new couch I bought would not have recliners that go all the way up. I finally quit setting on it. It is so uncomfortable for me. I have spinal stenosis and Neuropathy and the lack of support is terrible. I like the regular reclining love seat I got. Would rather have a couch like that.

We purchased two loveseats and a sofa from La-Z-Boy. We liked their reputation and quality, and it was our first time to buy from them. We looked at this furniture 12 months ago and we had decided what we needed. We had good interaction with the salespeople, and at that time, there was a good offer on the table but we were not ready to purchase because we were in the middle of building a house. And 12 months down the track, we didn’t change our thoughts on it because it was what we wanted so we went in recently and spoke to another salesperson and had looked at the setup that they had there. We didn’t want the electrically operated recliner, so we went with the manual one. We were advised that we could have it within a very short period of time and it was spot on. They called us and let us know that it was in and we’re ready to go.
We scheduled the home delivery. Our new home is quite large and we put in three foot wide doors thinking ahead in case of any need for a wheelchair or anything like that. So the delivery guys were able to bring the whole unit through the front door. We had a new drawer wide footing, and they were mindful that it was a bit new, so they just reverse it straight off the road. They knew what they were doing. They put the furniture off where we needed it to be and checked everything out, and then showed us how the thing operated. We really didn’t know that it was reclining right back the way it did so they walked us through it. And they were off the street. We’re quite happy with their service.
Things were explained to us in good term. And the cost is very good. We’ve got grandchildren and children and they came over and sat in it. It’s hard to get people to leave now once they sat on it because it’s so comfortable. We have a beach style home and we specifically wanted the blue color. We’re very happy with it. La-Z-Boy also offered us some maintenance package which we didn’t opt into because there’s a good warranty on the furniture. And it has a good quality so we didn’t worry about it.

Everything seemed to be splendid when I bought the sofa and the couches. I enjoyed the sales activity and everything was done on time. I was going to pick them up because we have trucks and I would have liked to save the $77 delivery fee, but they said it would come from the factory and it would be delivered. The quality of the furniture is good except I'm not happy with the chair that I got. I also bought two leather chairs from them sometime back, but not long enough for them to be messing up. One of them started looking like it was dirty. I went to scrub it and it wasn't dirt. It was the backing of the leather and it looks nasty. I'm going to have those arms recovered. Other than that, we're enjoying the sofa. It's expensive, but it's a good furniture. I'm pleased with La-Z-Boy.

I recently purchased a chair from La-Z-Boy and once I got it home I noticed while sitting in it that the seam on one of the arms wasn't aligned properly so it didn't match the other arm. On one arm the top piece of leather is stitched in such a manner that it creates a cap along the top of the arm. On the other arm the leather is not stretched properly and that caused the seam to rise up over the top of the arm. Due to that lack of attention to the details on that arm the leather doesn't create a nice edge and cap as it does on the other arm. I called the store and explained the problem to one of their Customer Service Reps and offered to bring the chair into the store and switch it out for the one on the floor since that one was manufactured properly. She basically told me that they wouldn't want the one I have if it didn't represent their standard of quality.
I called La-Z-Boy and they had one of their furniture techs come out and look at the chair and take pictures for his report. After I pointed out the problem he told me that it looked like when they stretched the leather over the wooden frame the material and seam weren't quite right and then went on to explain to me that the chair is handcrafted and not made by a machine so one should expect slight differences. I explained to him that it wasn't a piece of hand blown glass and I could understand a difference if it were chair to chair but not a difference in how the leather was stretched from arm to arm on the same chair. He took pictures and told me he would submit them and they would be contacting me.
Well, today they called and told me that a number of people on their management team had reviewed the file and pictures taken by the technician and there nothing they can do because as they see it the chair meets their manufacturing standards. I told them that response wasn't acceptable and I now understand why there are so many negative reviews on their product, quality and warranty and that I would be visiting the store to meet with the Manager.
I doubt that I will get very far with the Manager though I intend to try. It is obvious to me that La-Z-Boy is no longer a company committed to producing a high quality piece of furniture or ensuring that their customers are pleased with the quality of the furniture that bears their name. They have become a $1.5 billion dollar company over the years and along the way they have apparently forgotten that it was their commitment to quality and customer service that got them there. One I am finished dealing with what was represented as a $1300 chair I will no longer think of La-Z-Boy like I used to and will surely never buy anything from them again. Buyer BEWARE!!!!

I recently purchased décor from La-Z-Boy and so far, the quality of their products are okay. But I was a little disappointed that some of the items they delivered to me could not be re-ordered and some had damages on them. I spoke to their customer service representatives about this and they said they couldn’t re-order any of the décors, but they could do touch-ups.
So I had a decorator come out and she was really helpful. She had some great ideas and brought a lot of options. While most of the décor had been touched up, there are still a few pieces I need to get back in touch with her on. I noticed some stuff after I got them back from her. But I'm pretty confident they’ll work through it. Overall, the people at La-Z-Boy were really professional and helpful. I was really happy with their service, with them coming out to the house and bringing options and actually show them to me in person. But I am still disappointed that I won't be able to re-order some of the items that had some damage.

I bought a sectional from La-Z-Boy and I was impressed with the reps I spoke with. They were not pushy, which I appreciated, and I got my questions answered. I was also impressed that I didn’t have to speak to one person and I wasn’t followed around the store. Also, the designer was very helpful because my measurements didn’t take into consideration a few things, like the door opening and sufficient room to get by and put an end table. So, she took all of that into consideration and helped me select the correct pieces so it'll fit much better, which I am very grateful for.

I recently purchased a sleeper sofa and a recliner from La-Z-Boy. I have a friend who has a La-Z-Boy couch that is legitimately 40 years old and it hasn’t been completely torn out. La-Z-Boy furniture lasts a good while and I wanted to make sure whatever I got was going to last. I got my furniture during a Labor Day sale so I didn’t pay the full sticker price for it. Both the sleeper sofa and the couch have held up really well and the quality is excellent. I’ve enjoyed it and I got my money's worth for it.
I got my furniture from a showroom in Baltimore area in Maryland, and the associates were phenomenal and were very attentive. I went shopping with my parents and they’re pretty indecisive so the associate was very patient with them which I greatly appreciate. They delivered it here and the delivery team was within the delivery window. They’re very professional, helpful, and polite. They put everything together and have me checked and touched everything and made sure it all worked properly. From end to end, it was a really good experience. They really took care of everything.

Last piece of furniture I will ever buy from this overpriced poorly made furniture company. They lie to get you to purchase their furniture and taut their Lifetime warranty but don't tell you they charge a $110.00 hour service fee to come out and put into 2 bolts to hold something together that should not have come apart if bolted together right. Poor management and poor customer service. I have bought better quality furniture for less price. Once they have your money their management doesn't care about you. THEY won't ever have repeat business from me.

I purchased something from La-Z-Boy 20 years ago and I’ve always been fond of their chairs. They last forever and so I recently got two power recliners. The salesperson was great. I went with my niece and we have questions and they were answered. We checked out a lot of chairs and found what we liked. She then ran through it because I wanted the really good leather. And she went through each string and I knew exactly what I was purchasing and for how much and how long it would take for them to get made.
They delivered the recliners when they said they would so I’m very pleased with La-Z-Boy. We had them for about a month now and we love them. It is so soft and nice looking leather. There are no extra strings out and they're well-made. They were very expensive but for the quality, I got my money’s worth. La-Z-Boy did an extremely good job. And they were patient with me when I was paying because I was having a little problem with my credit card. It was a very nice experience which doesn’t happen very often, and it was great working with the La-Z-Boy people.

We have 2 couches and 1 chair and they all are breaking down with broken springs and cushions that sag and don't hold their shape. Cushions sag way down into the couches making it hard to get out of. Furniture is made there for looks and not for use I guess. Wouldn't buy their brand again, not even if it was free.

My husband and I had recliners in our house in Florida, and I enjoyed using mine and sitting in it last winter. But the recliners were 50 years old or more, and they had been re-covered a couple of times. We decided to replace them and we decided on ones that were comfortable for ourselves. It was important for us that we could get something that we both enjoyed sitting in. I wanted something similar to what I had but also swiveled. The La-Z-Boy sales rep told me which ones I could get with the swivel base and they had two that we liked and one was in the exact color that I wanted. She ordered the other one and within a week, I had the other recliner. It was a no-pressure sales tactic and the product was wonderful.
I love the recliner I got for me and it fits me well. I'm a shorter person and my La-Z-Boy hugs me and when I sit in it, I feel like I'm nesting in it. My husband wanted more of a rigid one and he got more of a rigid feel. The quality of the recliner was good for the price. I knew I was going to have to pay more for La-Z-Boy for the name, but I also knew that it's been a good name and people that I've known have had theirs for years.

On September 9th I ordered a chair from you, to the tune of about 1900 dollars. On October 6th, it was "delivered". The delivery men said "Try it out", so I did. It made crunching noises and pieces fell out, and they said "We have to take it back." To date (Oct. 31st) I keep getting a runaround about ordering parts, and we have to email the warehouse etc. I called the store I purchased the chair from repeatedly, and I keep hearing "We'll call you when we have a status." Last week I called customer support, and I was told the part would be in last Tuesday, and the chair should be ready for delivery the next day, and someone would call to schedule delivery.
Today I called and customer support doesn't know anything. They would have to email the warehouse because the warehouse goes home at 3. In the meantime, we purchased 3 other chairs from competitors, and guess what? They work, cost less money, and were delivered quickly, and with no hassle. I have no doubt you will not print this review. It is the truth. I'd be mortified if this were my company. If I were marketing merchandise touted as a higher end, quality product.

Purchased 2 sofas that were supposedly leather. Within 18 months both sofas were showing some wear and the color distorted. Contacted La-Z-Boy they advised us to contact the extended warranty we were encouraged to purchase. When we contacted the warranty group they immediately told us it was not covered. I have read several reviews that indicate other people have experienced this same issue.

I received my chairs on August 3. I worked with customer care for 3 weeks until I finally got Sonya ** to speak with me. She said she would make the chairs in a different leather. She also said to me that she would have never recommended the leather I chose for the Jax chair. The problem is that La-Z-Boy doesn't offer the color I want in other leather selections. When I broke down and chose a different color; Sonya told me that the difference in price could not be refunded; it had to be used as a store credit. I think this is unfair. I told Sonya I didn’t want any of Lazboys products if this is how it works. Sonya finally came and picked up the original chairs from my house on Tuesday October 17th. And now wants me to pay a 30% restocking fee... I feel this is unfair because La-Z-Boy is unable to deliver the product I originally ordered. Please Help.

When I purchased my furniture I was STRONGLY advised to purchase the protection plan after I refused it at the time of purchase. I was led to believe that it would cover any mishap or damage incurred and I would be thankful for getting it. So I reluctantly purchased it. I felt the protection plan was so misrepresented at the time of purchase and am very disappointed with it. Approximately two months after having my sofa, I had company and my guest had a problem with incontinence and accidentally urinated on my couch. I immediately used a Clorox wipe and sprayed some Febreze on it and called three days later to see about the urine being cleaned up on my cushion. I was informed that because I did not just blot it with a dry cloth, but used some cleaning products, they were not responsible for the stain. What person would just blot urine with a dry cloth and leave it until the protection plan company can take care of it?
After reading the complete protection plan, it appears that truly very little is covered under the plan, and they can find a loophole not to cover most things that the consumer was led to believe was covered at the time of purchase. I am so unhappy about this that I will not purchase any more furniture from La-Z-boy again. I will also inform anyone that has purchased the protection plan that it is not what they think it is. I wasted $300.00 because I had to purchase it for each piece of furniture. Does this sound fair or reasonable to anyone?

We were looking for a living room couch and we wanted to get a sectional. We previously ordered from Macy's and had a very bad experience from them so we changed the sectional to a loveseat and sofa. My in-laws asked us to visit La-Z-Boy since we couldn’t find the right size for us in other furniture companies and we found the loveseat and sofa size we wanted at La-Z-Boy. Their salesperson provided us with very detailed information and the delivery was very neat and fast. We paid for the delivery charge but everything has met our expectations. My husband and I love and enjoy the furniture we got. It's been a very satisfying experience and we’re planning to get an armchair if they have the same material and design.

Purchased a reclining love seat in June that was delivered Aug 31. After 2 month's normal use by one person the footrests look 20 years old. Beyond disappointed. Would like to return for a full refund.

My elderly father, who was housebound, needed a chair and we went with a power recliner from La-Z-Boy. The sales reps were nice and we had the chair delivered. However, my father didn’t like it. I called La-Z-Boy and wanted to return it the day after I got it, but they wouldn’t allow me. So, I’m a little pissed off. They should reconsider their return policy, it’s terrible, and I’ll never buy another chair from them.

Our La-Z-Boy chairs were old so we wanted to replace them and got two recliners from them again. We looked at a few companies but we liked La-Z-Boy chairs better. They were on sale and I found that they got cheaper a couple of weeks later. So, I called and the rep gave me the other price which was nice. Their reps were very helpful and answered all my questions. The delivery guys got here on time and everything they did was great.

I purchased a Kennedy II Press Back Recliner about a year ago from Art Van in Marquette, MI. It was less then 1 month and the material starting to pill. I worked on the chair to remove the pills but they keep coming back. I think when I pay $635 for a chair that the material should last much longer. In the past I have bought leather La-Z-Boy recliners. I have been happy in the past, but with this happening I am questioning the quality of La-Z-Boy now. It would be great if La-Z-Boy would cover the cost to reupholster with a better quality fabric.

Being disabled I needed a lift chair. I was always under the impression that La-Z-Boy was quality furniture and a quality company. Being quality I was willing to pay the apx $1600 for it. I was hoping to buy my wife one too. I got the chair delivered to my home in March 2017. Out of about 8 months my chair has been unusable for least 2 months, so far. First, a board was broken in the front of the chair. It took 3 weeks for them to come out to pick it up and take it to Dallas for repair. It then took 2 weeks for them to notify me it was repaired, They then said it would be 2 more weeks for them to bring it back to me. I yelled at them so loud that I guess they called me back and said it would be back in a week.
The day I got it delivered I sat in it that afternoon/eve. I went to bed and the next day when I went into the living room to sit down, the motor would not run. It took them at least another week for them to send out a serviceman. He got it working and showed me that it ran. The problem was that when they routed the wires through the mechanism It cut them. After he left I went to sit in it, and it started sloooowly lowering and stopped. We called service again and they said it would be a week before they would again come and pick it up to take it back to Dallas for repair. Based on their track record I don't expect to see it for another 3 weeks or more.
Between my wife and I we spent a great deal of time on the phone with service people and the store manager trying to get this resolved. While the store manager was very nice to us and seemed to genuinely care and tried to help us, he seems powerless to be of any real help. The service people on the other hand absolutely couldn't care less.

It's been a month since I got my recent La-Z-Boy for personal reasons and it's working great. La-Z-Boy's reputation is good and we’ve had good experience in the past. We're almost 90 and our son-in-law decided we should have comfortable chairs. He bought our La-Z-Boy for us two months ago. The rep and delivery team were very nice. We waited for five weeks to get the chairs delivered to our home. Their quality is very nice but the cost was too much. I'm also having a little problem getting used to the buttons but I'm getting there. It was a very fine experience with La-Z-Boy.

Very disappointed in the way La-Z-Boy represented Ultra Shield to us. I feel like we got taken advantage of. My dog threw up on our couch and they can do nothing but sell us some cleaner for 40$. This is after numerous calls to Ultra Shield with no response whatsoever. I think it was a very bad decision for La-Z-Boy to bind themselves with such a company. I feel that La-Z-Boy is not the same company my parents trusted!

I have back problems so I needed a recliner, and I recently purchased a loveseat and a sofa from La-Z-Boy. The sales reps were amazing. I dealt with Chris and then Bree, who did the in-home consultation and came and did the measurements. The two gentlemen from the delivery team were good. I felt bad for them because they had to deliver through a flight of stairs. But they were very professional and one gentleman volunteered to put my door back on the hinge because I had to remove my door to get the old furniture out. He was like, “Do you want me to make sure your door closes properly? I’ll put your door back on the hinge if you want me to, if you just give me the bolt.” They were prompt, courteous, got in and then got out. I was very, very pleased.
I found out later that the product I bought is made with polyurethane, which I’m kind of regretting now, but I can live with it. It’s unfortunate because I can’t put anything on it to tamp down that funky smell. Hopefully, the smell wears down over time because that’s not cool for the amount of money that I paid for it. But, I love the fact that the La-Z-Boy is made in the USA and that the furniture comes in two pieces. The gentlemen who delivered it were able to take the back apart and pull that up, and then take the seating apart. I love the functionality of the furniture with the USB port and electric motor where you just press the button, together with all of the really cool features. I would recommend La-Z-Boy but I would tell anybody to pay the extra money to get genuine leather because the polyurethane is sturdy but smelly.

We purchased a 3 seat recliner in January 2016. We have hardly not used it and the foam in the seats are already breaking down, making it unconformable to use. I called La-Z-Boy today, they could not offer me anything. I am very disappointed with customer service.

I'm upset with La-Z-Boy right now. I bought two couches from them, one’s a sleeper and the other one is a couch. They mirror each other and they are really handsome couches. When we bought it, the rep I dealt with was really good. She was really patient and she showed us different couches. However, I'm having problems. There were labels that were put on them and when they were pulled off, they left a mark on my cushions.
The repairman came here on time and he was really good. However, he can’t take care of what problem we have. He doesn’t want to damage the cushions so he’s going to reorder them. The only thing was I had the Ultra Shield protection put on them and then they're not repelling water. He also told us that it seemed like our unit didn't have protection but I showed him the paperwork that it does. He told me that he doesn't think that La-Z-Boy did anything to them. I’m really disappointed because we waited to have these couches delivered and we paid extra for the protection. I had these special ordered.
The sales rep I talked to at La-Z-Boy noted that I did have the Ultra Shield fabric protection put on it and told me that I would have to call Ultra Shield directly. He has the receipt. He’s got everything. He could have called himself and did it for us out of courtesy because we bought it from them and since now we find out that we don’t have that protection and we paid for it. The salesperson I originally dealt with was not in so I don’t know if they do each other’s work. Evidently not. He said, “Well, Cheryl’s not in. It’s her problem.” It’s the store's problem. It’s not the sales person’s problem. They have to back each other up and be pleasant about it. They don’t just throw me to another phone number. He wasn’t even polite and he hung up on me.
I hate to say once the item is sold, they figure they got their commission and everything they get. Their job is done. Just call this 1-800 number. These are really handsome couches. The construction is really nice so La-Z-Boy has a really good product. I like them and I bought from them before. It’s just that customer service can be a pain. If you don’t have a problem, that’s fine. But if you have a problem, that’s when the real test comes and they failed. I'm not happy with them at all.

Earlier this year, my wife and I were helping a 96-year old woman from our church who had just entered home hospice. Her old recliner wasn't comfortable for her as she spent both day and night in it and it didn't raise her legs high enough to keep fluids from building up. Her son came to town and went and purchased her a new La-Z-Boy recliner, at her request, but it wasn't a good fit for a woman in her condition (not a lift chair and small control buttons on the side). He just didn't realize her specific needs having lived away for so long. After he went back home she told me she wasn't comfortable. It had been almost two weeks.
I went and spoke to Neal **, the store manager at the Gurnee, IL store where the original purchase was made. He promised to help her out by taking back the one just purchased. With his help we were able to get her a chair that she loved. Neal worked with my wife and I to find her the PERFECT chair for her specific needs. He had the old one picked up and delivered the new one at no additional cost. She loved it and it made her so comfortable during her last weeks. She never had the opportunity to personally write Neal a thank you note but made sure that I went to tell him of her appreciation.
After she died she passed it along to an elderly friend who had never had a recliner in her life. She had just had knee surgery and the chair was perfect for her. So Neal helped two older women by helping select the best La-Z-Boy chair either one could have asked for. Today it's not unusual to see poor customer service wherever you go. Many will only do what is "required" and not an iota more. Neal not only went beyond what I would call excellent customer service, but he also demonstrated an empathy and compassion for the customer's needs. That is truly rare. He is an outstanding individual and I hope the company recognizes his value. I would recommend that anyone in the area go to La-Z-Boy in Gurnee, IL. A great company and an even greater employee – Neal **. Thank you.

We relocated and our old furniture didn't quite fit so we just bought new furniture. We've been happy with the La-Z-Boy furniture. We had several products over time. We shopped at L-Square but that's what we settled in and bought from. The quality of their products is good, that’s why we keep buying from them. The sales reps took all the time that we needed and were patient and answered all our questions and showed us around. So, it was a pleasant experience. Delivery was like clockwork. We ordered custom fabric so it was going to take a while. They had to make that in the factory. They said generally it takes six weeks but we'll get a call a week before they're ready to deliver to schedule a time that's convenient for me.
On the fourth week, they called and said, "A week from today, we can deliver that early or anytime thereafter that's convenient for you. We'll schedule it that first day." Then they called us the day before and told us the approximate timeframe that they would be out and they showed up in that timeframe. The furniture we bought 15 years ago was as good a furniture as what we got here but it cost much less. More so than what you would inflation be over 15 years. But we still got a good value though buying La-Z-Boy as compared to shopping around in other places.
We also bought a Power Lift chair for my dad. He was a 103 years old in Texas and we went out and talked to the manager at the La-Z-Boy here in Midlothian, Virginia where we live and told her what we wanted to do. We thought maybe she could make arrangements for sub deal with the people in Texas to do it. But she said that they can't do that and said that we can go online instead and order it to be delivered to my dad’s address. She wrote down all the detailed information for what we picked out and gave us that. Everything worked out good there.

We bought a Rowan loveseat unit along with the sofa. We paid over $3500 for it. When it was delivered we noticed a problem with the handle. I sent an email along with pictures to the salesman. We received a call from their comfort care department. I explained the problem and they had the pictures. It took 3 weeks for the serviceman to come and he did not have the correct parts. At that time we noticed that the unit was coming unsewed. We went to the local store where we bought the unit from and talked to the manager. She said she was sending an email to someone for the follow up. 3 weeks later we had not heard from anyone so we went back to the local store. Within an hour we got a call from their customer care department. They knew nothing about the unit coming unsewed.
Here it 4 months later and we finally get an email that our replacement unit has been shipped. When we purchased this we paid extra for the protective stuff on the fabric. But this new unit will not have it on there. I would not recommend this company for anything. And I will be sending Brooke Shields an email to let her know how the company she endorse treats their customers.

We were very happy with La-Z-Boy's customer service, and we also had a very positive experience with them. The lady that helped us was very talented with her design, ideas, and she was able to get us something that really worked. We bought a new house in December and remodeled the inside. So, it was time to upgrade everything.
We initially went to the store and described what we were looking for to the sales representative. We talked to her about the color scheme that we're going with as far as wall paint and things like that. And then we followed up with getting some dimensions of our living room. She gave us a 3D design of the room and placement of the furniture that we liked and different fabrics to choose from for the pillows and recliners. And then, following up, she came out to our house, brought items from the store, and helped us fix them on the walls, on the mantel and on the tables. So far, the products were of very good quality, and the cost was appropriate. Everything worked out really well.

Do NOT buy furniture from La-Z-Boy! WE purchased a pricey love seat (motorized controls) which was delivered on July 16th. It broke after two weeks of use. First, it took 3 weeks to schedule a service call. Service is subcontracted in this part of the country. Serviceman came in August and said we needed a new part. Two weeks more before part came. You can't schedule further service until the part arrives. Then two weeks more for service call to install new part. When guy came he said it wasn't that part that had been broken and he would have to order a new motor for that half of the loveseat so the leg elevator would work. By now it's September 19th. That new part arrived last Friday, on October 20th!!! And now another service called is scheduled for October 31st! So from July 16th to the last day in October, we have had two weeks of usage of this product.
I begged them to take it back but they refuse! We don't even want the product at this point and the chair we bought with it is making strange noises as well. This is the worst customer service we have ever had at any company and we're in our 70's! I had purchased La-Z-Boy furniture 20 years ago and it was wonderful. This furniture is crap! We would have purchased the non-motorized couch and chair but neither my husband nor I had the strength to raise and lower the lever on the side of the non-motorized versions. All of their levers are extremely hard to work.
If I could give a negative number of stars here I would. We are being held hostage to this awful furniture and having to make monthly payment on it when it hasn't worked. I expect if this actually does get fixed, we will be calling them soon for more repairs and have to go through this nightmare again! We want to return this furniture!!! And they refuse! Do not buy furniture from La-Z-Boy!!!

We bought matching leather La-Z-Boy recliners and within 18 months the foam seat and back have deteriorated so badly we can hardly get out of the chairs. I contacted La-Z-Boy and was told I was past the 1-year warranty and they would not do anything. I asked to have someone at least come look at them, and I was told no, they couldn't do that. Another problem is the leather has worn along the stitching on the seat cushions and since I purchased the Guardsman Leather warranty, I contacted them, and after leaving several messages over the course of a few weeks, someone finally called me back.
I sent in the requested forms and receipts only to be told they wouldn't do anything. I question why I wasted my money on the Guardsman warranty if it doesn't cover anything. We bought the top of the line recliners planning on getting many years use from them. My husband and I are not large people, so we are wondering why the cushions are collapsing. We do not have pets which makes me question the quality of the leather. We are to the point of replacing them since they are not comfortable. We are very disappointed in La-Z-Boy.

I have bought La-Z-Boy furniture for my family room 3 times. Back in the 80's they were great about living up to their warranty and the store was always helpful to resolve issues. We purchased our last set in 2015 and purchased an extended warranty. We were told when we bought the furniture the manual mechanism has a lifetime warranty. We are having a problem with the mechanism right now and just found out the lifetime warranty just covers the parts for the furniture, not labor. Labor is billed at $109.00 per hour so beware of that. Also the warranty covering Ultra Shield which covers the fabric does not cover threads coming out of the seams, and they are impossible to get in touch with to file a claim.
I personally feel La-Z-Boy misrepresented their warranty by not mentioning you have to pay for labor. Also I spend a whole morning trying to get in touch with someone, very frustrating. My next furniture set will not be purchased from La-Z-Boy due to their misrepresentation. I was paying the price for La-Z-Boy because I thought they stood by their product and word, I was wrong.

La-Z-Boy has a good product at a decent price and excellent process for purchasing. I bought a power recliner from them which has been in my home for about two months now. We went to separate stores and both have knowledgeable and very kind sales reps. The first one’s reps were excellent, courteous and very amenable to our questions but they didn’t happen to have the model that we were looking for. So, we went down the street to a different La-Z-Boy store and the reps were very professional, and they had the model we wanted. We had the furniture delivered and the experience was perfect. Their team came in and set it up. So far, the quality of the recliner is good. I had an excellent experience that I would repeat in the future.

We just purchased your Talbot sofa. We tried it in the store and it was so comfy and soft that we fell in love with it, so we ordered it. It looks very nice but is very stiff and uncomfortable. I mentioned it to them but was told that they rotate them often on the floor so it should feel the same. I can assure you, it does not. If this had been the one we had tried in the store we would not have purchased it. We have owned La-Z-Boy products for over 30 yrs. and this one really disappoints.

I bought two recliners from La-Z-Boy. I've had their furniture in my home for 12 years already and we decided to buy new ones since my husband's recliner has already worn out, while mine was still in good shape. We also had a change in our home interior. We had a very nice and thorough sales girl. When we purchased it, we scheduled a delivery right in the store. The delivery was a great experience since the team knew what they were doing and they were very knowledgeable about the product. The quality of the furniture is very good and the cost of it is fair. We love our La-Z-Boy recliners.

In late August we purchased apx. $10,000 worth of furniture from La-Z-Boy Nashua, NH. The furniture finally partially arrived in late September. The rocker recliner swivel chair is unusable and we have been waiting for them to fix the chair. The swivel base was totally cracked and the seat has what looks to be a large chunk of glue under the leather. The repair has still not been done as all of the repair parts still aren't in. We received the base but not the seat. Then service will have to be scheduled.
We are also waiting for our missing coffee table which is to match our end tables. We have gotten so many different stories or no return phone calls from the manager Rob in Nashua. From telling us the chair would be in within a week (it's been 2 months) to, "We can't find it and have to reorder." Now we sit and are waiting for a no show delivery truck that is suppose to have the table on it. For the amount of money you pay for La-Z-Boy it sure isn't worth it. We have bought recently from two other popular furniture stores and had fantastic service and great quality.

We purchased 2 Recliner sofas from the Florence, KY location about a year ago. One of the boards in a footrest cracked. We contacted La-Z-Boy and they scheduled a tech. We waited 6 weeks and all the tech did was acknowledge it was broken and ordered the part. Once the part came in La-Z-Boy called and said it was going to take an extra hour and would cost $109 plus tax. I don't understand how they can acknowledge it was a factory defect then after making us wait a couple months try and charge us to fix it. We paid the extra money to buy La-Z-Boy because we thought they stood behind their product. I guess they are no better than their cheaper competition. Save your money!

Our 20-year-old La-Z-Boy swivel rockers were looking sad and the cats were scratching them. When we bought the replacements, the rep told us it was the best sale of the year and nothing would ever be better, and then Labor Day came and there was a better sale. We had the same chair in a different pattern before, they’re very comfortable and we got a new color. When we originally bought the chairs, we had them in our living room, but they were a little bit small for that area and we put them in a little kitchen nook on a whim and we love them now. We have a little table there and that’s where we sit daily. Everyone always comments on how much they like the chairs and the place they’re in. We’re very satisfied but if we had gotten a lower price, I’d have been more happy.

My husband needed a lift chair so we purchased a power lift chair about a month ago from La-Z-Boy and it’s working out well for him. I’m satisfied with the chair, and it’s good quality. My interaction with the sales rep was also good at first but I’m dissatisfied with the overall experience. I bought a chair and had it delivered and then we realized that it wasn’t going to work. It was working fine mechanically, but it didn’t seem to be comfortable and do what we wanted it to do.
So, I called just a couple days after I got it, and they said that I couldn’t just bring it back and get my money back but if I purchase another chair, I could exchange it. But if I did that, I would have to pay a $300 restocking fee and I don’t think that’s right. Because I really needed the chair, I went back and picked out what I liked better. They came and picked up the other one and brought the new one, but I had to pay a new delivery fee also. I thought I could pick up a chair at the store and bring it home because it’s what was done before but everything had to go through the warehouse now. I don’t feel that’s just customer friendly as what it was before. It has cost me a lot more money, but we are happy with the chair.

We bought our couches in 2011. Within the year, the cushion's covers were replaced due to the seams coming apart. La-Z-Boy was very quick to make sure they were repaired yet they are beginning to split again. Unfortunately, over the past couple of years, the couches have become unbearable to sit on. It's much too soft. When we have company over they sit anywhere but on the couch. I'm not sure if it's the cushions or the frame. We've been very careful to make sure we flip and rotate on a monthly basis. For the amount of money we spent you would think the couch would have lasted at least a good 10 years.

I recently bought a kitchen table from La-Z-Boy. It was my first time buying from them and the quality of the furniture was great. I moved to a different location and they were the only furniture store I saw at that time. I had a great experience with their reps. It was the same for their delivery team although, I didn't get the table until September. The item I bought was on backorder but I didn't mind much. It was an excellent deal and La-Z-Boy is the best place to go to.

Bought two Lancer reclining sofas and they are horribly uncomfortable. Wood digging into my ribs at the corner where sofa arm meets sofa back. Also, no cushion where fabric meets wood. Metal link loose in the middle seat, ready to wear through the fabric. Makes me wonder if we were sold "seconds", not fit for sale in the gallery stores. Completely unhappy and want to return it.

One of the other most important things about La-Z-Boy is that it’s made in America. I've had La-Z-Boy furniture in my home for about 20 years now and I recently ordered a recliner, three chairs, two couches and a table because I remodeled our downstairs. Everyone at the shop was very polite and helpful. They delivered the recliner but it was damaged. They took it back and the store called me and said that they are sending a replacement which is coming Saturday.

Careful. We are currently having issues with this company. Have a sofa that’s not even a year old and a button came off. You can tell seam wasn’t sewn well. They have been giving my husband and I run around and wanting to charge to fix button at our house or I can take to their location and they can fix it. I just had a baby. How the heck do they expect that. Contacted corporate and the store. Never buying from this company that won’t honor warranty!

My wife and I bought a new recliner/love seat in March of 2012, it is a man-made material that simulates leather. The salesman showed us how it was practically scratch proof. We noticed about 3 years ago the material started to peel away from the backing. When I contacted the furniture store they said it had a 1 year warranty from La-Z-Boy which was expired. We had purchased an extended warranty but it does not cover flaws in manufacture which this would fall under so we were out on that avenue. Now here we sit with a recliner/loveseat that is structurally great but looks awful and lets material pieces come loose on clothing which later fall off somewhere around the living room.
I came here to look into reviews and it looks like we aren't the only ones taken by a $900 piece of poorly made material. Looks like something should be done by La-Z-Boy, in the automotive world this would probably result in a recall. I guess since safety is not an issue maybe not but definitely is a poorly constructed choice of material. Bottom line at this time I would not recommend anything made by La-Z-Boy.

We purchased a new house and we were looking to put some furniture in the living room. La-Z-Boy's sales reps were very pleasant. Though we had somebody who was new and we had a few problems with some miscommunication, she was very nice and the other salespeople tried to fix the issues so at the end we were happy with what we got. The delivery was excellent and the furniture was wonderful.

My daughter bought a new house and we purchased a sofa and two recliners from La-Z-Boy. The sales reps were and helpful, and they spent a lot of time with us. They also sent out a consultant to do a design. She had good ideas and we wound up changing our order after we met with her. They were very pleasant and good to work with.
We made the final order on August 19 and they told us it would take four to six weeks. Someone called me 10 days ago and said that the delivery should have been last week but they were doing an inspection and it would take a while to go through quality control. Then when I spoke to them yesterday, they said it wouldn't be in in another week or two but some of the furniture has come in. That was something I couldn't understand. To me, if the customer bought more than one piece and you have some of them in, you should ask whether they want to take those. It's for different rooms and since the house is empty, it would be nice to have some furniture rather than waiting 8 weeks. I would recommend them, but they need to get their delivery a little bit more prompt.

We recently purchased a sofa, loveseat and accessories from La-Z-Boy and we had a very good experience with them. We bought a different home and we had a family room that didn’t have furniture. We have always been Ashley Furniture customers until now, but we went to La-Z-Boy and we almost immediately saw something that we liked. We were nervous about spending that kind of money but Linda, the salesperson who helped us, ended up being the catalyst for where we went with our money. We were also nervous about the size of the room which was very oddly shaped, but she suggested that we let their designer come out to look at the room and take measurements. She said this was a free service and, at the end, we were going to know if the couch was going to fit, if we could have a couch and a loveseat, or if we needed to think about a different way to go.
I agreed to Linda's suggestion and Claudia was the designer who came out and did all that. Claudia was fabulous and wonderful,and we loved her. She took all the measurements and gave a couple of ideas on how we could arrange the furniture for this very oddly shaped room with a higher place that was hideous until I worked on it. There was absolutely no pressure throughout this experience and we made a free-standing decision to spend $6,000 on the products that we purchased, even though we had never spent that much money yet on anything in our lives and it was $5,000 over what we would normally have spent.
Kayla was the main designer. She brought us in and showed us the design, and we loved it. Claudia had given me a ballpark figure for what she thought the price might be if I did everything that I wanted to do. So, we had an idea of the price when we went to the store and there was no surprise. When we got to the store, though, the price was a little bit more than the ballpark figure we had been given earlier, but we had already made the decision to do the purchase and there was a financing option.
We're former military people and we're not rich. I would never have purchased paintings from Ashley and my inclination was to skip the artwork because it wasn't cheap. But I knew in my heart that I would be hunting Raj or TJ Maxx, looking for something. My husband sat through the presentation and was also willing to go this route and he could see as well the beauty and the value. We told them that we will take all of what they showed us on the screen and they can wrap that up. Afterwards, the room was stunning. It’s a small room but it now looks beautiful and it's completely coordinated. I was completely and utterly impressed.
The wonderful experience that we had with La-Z-Boy made writing that check for payment every month a no-brainer. If you ever bought a car that you really liked, then you know that it's not hard to write that check for the car payment. My family room with the La-Z-Boy furniture is now my favorite room in the house. We bought the upgraded materials and we had to wait, which seems like forever when you want something.
If we hadn’t sold our house in Sylmar, I doubt that we would have that money nor spend it like that. But I would go back to La-Z-Boy. When we were deployed in Hawaii, Ashley was the only furniture company that would ship to Hawaii, so we went there first and almost every other piece in the house comes from Ashley. Then we went to La-Z-Boy and I would not go anywhere else for any furniture. I gave La-Z-Boy a good review on Yelp and I've recommended La-Z-Boy to all my friends, and I tell them that the furniture we bought is expensive but the quality is there.

The sales rep did a good job and explained everything. I was totally satisfied. La-Z-Boy did an excellent job on the delivery as well. However, the sectional was pretty expensive. I paid more than I should have and I should have done a bit more research. Other than that, everything was professionally done.

The mechanism stopped working on the 20-year-old La-Z-Boy that I inherited from my grandfather. When I went in the store, they said I looked thirsty so they offered me some water, which I took very happily. They walked me through a bunch of different chairs then I told them I had no interest in anything electronic because the parts go bad. I didn't realize that the parts had warranty for life and that they could actually get new parts for the old one.
However, I loved the new one that I got and it was a great experience too, from walking in the store, taking the time to actually let me sit on all the different chairs and showing them what I wanted. We had to wait for my order which came in early and they contacted me but I was already out of state at the time so I said the date that we originally talked about would work. Then, when I thought I had a problem with the furniture, a tech came out. Because of the positioning of it in the showroom, I didn't realize all the other functions that it had so it wasn't important to me when I was buying it. The tech showed me all the different ways to make it work and explained to me that the sound was normal. The experience that I had with La-Z-Boy was for something that was $1,000 and I felt I was buying something worth 10 times that.

After receiving & paying for our furniture the few defects were reported immediately by the delivery personnel. It took multiple phone calls and finally having to contact the regional manager to get something done. Purchasing the extended care packet has proven to be a plus in the fact that some things had been poorly sewn, but getting those things fixed has been a nightmare just trying to get anyone to return calls. Everyone was super nice until they got our money, then they did not want to be bothered.

We've had La-Z-Boy in our home for five years and we're moving to a new house that is being built. We had more furniture and my interaction with the reps were excellent. They have a individual layer that is a special set designing and using a computer, they were able to set up pictures of our new house after it's built. They have the furniture would go with it and they helped tremendously with our choices of colors and items. They did an excellent job, but the house isn't finished yet and La-Z-Boy is still working with us.

My husband had a heart surgery and I wanted him to be relaxed in the room. I purchased a recliner from La-Z-Boy and the sales rep was excellent. I’ve worked with her before so I continue to use her. I had previously purchased from them so she got me to a better one because my husband is 6'4''. The delivery team was very nice, knowledgeable, and explained everything to me. We love our La-Z-Boy recliner. The chair came in before he entered the hospital so he got a feel of how to use it. La-Z-Boy is a good company and I’ll continue to use them.

We had some recliners at home and they've been around for a while. It was time to replace them and La-Z-Boy has a good reputation for quality. The person who took care of our order was really knowledgeable about their products, knew the pros and cons of these different models and was quite good at helping us figure out which one would meet our needs. We made a custom order for two recliners and it's going to take a few weeks before we get it.

The salespeople at La-Z-Boy Galleries were fabulous. However, the delivery team mishandled my new chair, grabbing it by the feet (attached to the springs) to push and pull while putting the back section onto the rest of the chair, which can damage the springs. They also put a three inch scratch on the upholstery on the front of my chair. They also did not want to wait for me to sit in the chair and check if it reclined properly. I was surprised when they arrived early (10:00 rather than the 10:30 to 1:30 time I was given) so I would not be surprised if I am not the only one who they treated this way.

There was a sale on the weekend that we shopped at La-Z-Boy, so we got a discount. The sales rep was great and very helpful. We had a sectional, a cocktail table and an end table delivered. I did not accept the end table because there were scratches on it so I sent that back and they ordered a new one for me that I would pick up at the store. I also called last Sunday and I ordered some pillows. All in all, we’re very pleased with the sectional and the furniture. This isn’t my first experience with La-Z-Boy. We've purchased La-Z-Boy furniture for our living room upstairs when we remodeled a few years ago, and we were very pleased with it. We also got one electronic recliner and one manual, which I haven’t been able to open yet. The latch doesn’t want to work. But overall, I love the product.

I purchased two recliners from La-Z-Boy about a month ago. The sales representatives were wonderful. I am dealing with Anita and she is terrific. They delivered the recliners yesterday, but we had to wait almost a month when we were promised a week to two weeks. Plus, we still haven't gotten our entire delivery. We're still missing our rug, which we ordered at the same time. I spoke to Anita this morning and she's looking into it for me. It's being taken care of but we've waited long enough.
They should be more honest about delivery times. If it's going to take a month then say so. We gave away our old furniture so we've had no chairs. I had to borrow some so that we'd have somewhere to sit on other than the dining room chairs. We had to keep them for much longer than I intended to. We've only had the recliners for a day, but so far so good. The quality of their furniture was good and I would still recommend them. But I would warn whoever I recommended them to not to take them literally when they give a delivery date.

I had a daughter leaving for the university and needed some of the old furniture so that gave me the opportunity to upgrade mine. Recently, I purchased a recliner, sofa, love seat, and ottoman from La-Z-Boy. I’ve only had them a few months and I love them though they're a bit pricey. But La-Z-Boy offers some nice features in terms of having somebody come out and look at your home and help you. I had help from Claudia who was super helpful. She came out, gave me ideas and helped me pick everything down to the pillows and the fabrics. So, it was a very positive experience and I really appreciated that because I had no designer, taste or know much about how they put things together. La-Z-Boy takes all the hassle and the stress out of trying to figure things out. They were very professional, had the knowledge and it was a good experience.

My furniture was getting a little fuzzy-like and it was looking worn so I got three recliners, a stationary chair and a sofa from La-Z-Boy. The sales rep that was with me when I looked at the samples and did the purchasing from was very helpful. Then I got connected with the interior designer, and I’ve had ongoing conversations and meetings with her. She listened to what I wanted, and she really did research in finding things with regard to area rugs by the doors. The delivery team was very good and everything was wrapped. They called and said when they’d be here. They gave me an hourly time the day before and then they called me on the day of delivery, and they were very on-target. The furniture is all here already and I’m pretty pleased with the quality. I'll have to see how it wears but I've recommended La-Z-Boy to my friends.

We've been living in the house for 20 years and when we upgraded everything, our old La-Z-Boys looked like crap so we replaced them. I have been purchasing stuff off the internet and when I found the couch that I was looking for on Wayfair, I thought I could get a better deal if I bought it from a La-Z-Boy store. So I ended up researching La-Z-Boy then I called their store up in Lansing and their rep gave me a great deal. I saved $400 off of what Wayfair would’ve sold it for and that’s a lot of money.
I wanted the burgundy leather color but they didn't have it in stock so the furniture we got was made for us and it took less than three weeks for them to do that. What blew me away was that they delivered from Chicago and they were fabulous. They came in, brought in all the pieces, put them all together, and asked me to look it over. I was impressed with never having to go into a store. Then after they delivered it, the store called and asked me if I was happy with the sofa and recliners and I said yes. I’m very happy with their work. It’s A-okay and the experience was surprisingly pleasant.

We are very pleased with the sales team of Mall of Georgia La-Z-Boy. Jason ** was our sales person who was very professional and wanted to help us in every possible way. We were given enough time to check which sofa would really make us comfortable. Manager Mr. Syed ** was very accommodating to our needs and tried his best to make us happy with our purchase. We had bought a sofa from La-Z-Boy in 2005. It was the best sofa we ever bought. It is still in a very good condition. We decided to go back after 12 years to get another sofa, again from La-Z-Boy. Though we felt the prices were little higher than the other stores but you pay for what you get. Excellent Service and Excellent Product!!!

Our neighbor got some La-Z-Boy furniture, so we purchased several pieces of sectional from La-Z-Boy too. We had initially thought of buying a recliner, so we went there, but as it turned out we didn't buy a recliner. The sales rep, Jonathan, was great. He did the model planning and he scripted out really well for us, and everything worked well. Also, the delivery process was easy-peasy. We're thrilled with everything and I'll recommend them.

I had just moved from a house into a condo and needed some guidance as to what to get. He had some really good suggestions that I'm going to use in the future. Well 4 years ago I was looking for a rocking recliner as I was about to have my first child. My parents had the same La-Z-Boy recliner and sofa for all my life. I put that couch through hell! I was a gymnast and flipped, bounced and jumped on it for years. So logically I thought spending high dollars for a La-Z-Boy was worth it. Wrong! After just 2 years I started noticing cracks in the leather everywhere. Now it’s just garbage. Big bald patches where the leather use to be. So basically this chair has cost me about $150 a year. Never again! Yet my dad’s chair, now 37 years old, remains fully intact and functioning though. Explain that...

My wife had fallen and broken her elbow. She couldn't sleep in the bed so I thought to get a La-Z-Boy for her to recline in. The sales rep was a nice lady but there wasn't much that she could tell us or do. I knew what I needed so I went in, looked around and picked out what I needed. There was another woman there who was very attentive. She came to make sure that things were going right so it was a good experience. However, I didn't know that the back came off of the recliner and you could actually get it into a car so I had to get a neighbor to come with an SUV to put it in. But in the end, I was glad that I didn't know because at my age, I'm not sure that I would have had the ability to carry it up the stairs. It was not light and the fella that I brought with me was a young man and he had difficulty carrying it up.
Unfortunately, the one that I bought has right-hand controls and my wife broke her right elbow so we haven't really used it because it's not that convenient for us. The issue was to get her in it and then I would have to push the controls together to lay down. Anytime she wants to get up and go to the bathroom, she's got to call me. So it's been a pain in the neck though that's not a reflection on the product. It's just the circumstances and it's a reflection on me not knowing enough to buy one with the left-handed controls.

I was so happy with a 2005 purchase that when I again needed furniture, I went directly to La-Z-Boy. Big Mistake! Less than a year after taking delivery in Oct 2016, both sofas are falling apart with rips in the cushions as well in the seams on the frame. We are not home during the day, so the furniture is not being used excessively. In sharing my experience with other La-Z-Boy customers, they report similar experiences with poor quality and issues within 6 months of purchase. I'm extremely disappointed and will never buy from La-Z-Boy again. You guys have lost a loyal customer.

I am not happy about your service. I have to use the store service and there are others who work on La-Z-Boy recliners. The company would not sent me the recliner mechanism. I had to go through the store.

Last Fall, we made a purchase from La-Z-Boy and though we've only had their furniture for a year, we were pleased with the quality. Our rep was a super nice guy. I have the personality that’s a little bit annoyed by the concept of needing to sell, but I can appreciate it too. My husband is in sales so I get it. I wasn’t prepared to make a purchase upon the first visit, and I wanted to come back and review some things. The sales reps give you their card and tell you what their hours are and request that you come back when they're there because they want the sale. For other people who are busy, they need to come back when it makes sense for them, not when the salesperson is there. Our rep was not a jerk about it nor was he overly pushy. I could appreciate where he was coming from. Because he was a good guy, I came back when he was there so he could have the sale.
Last year the salesman said, “If you can't come back during the hours that I'm here, just call me and let me know and I can try to meet you outside of my regularly scheduled shift,” which helped. Our recent rep would have done that too if I had asked. I understand where he's coming from, but being the first person that I met with, if he could have been the person to get the credit for the sale, then they could avoid making customers feel like they have to come back when they're there. I don’t hold it against him but against how the credit system works.
Our recent purchase hasn’t been delivered but it's not overdue. We're four weeks in and they said the lead time is about six weeks, possibly even eight. But with the purchase we had last year, we were pleased with the delivery. When we were there, we purchased the care warranty or the care package. The salesman had it for either the couch and loveseat but not the chair or vice versa. And he said he didn’t have any more of those and if we don’t receive it in a couple weeks, to check back with them and they’ll make sure we get that. From a customer standpoint, I don’t want that on my to-do list but it's one of those things that I'm left to track down because they didn’t have the certificates or paperwork. We never received it and he said it probably would be about two weeks. It's a little frustrating, but it's minor. It's an open item for me that I'm chasing down but it could have been handled at the point of sale.
My husband always says furniture and jewelry have the highest markup within the industry or any manufactured products and that it's all overpriced. But we have purchased furniture from other furniture stores and we've paid what we consider a pretty penny and the quality has been poor. With La-Z-Boy, while we feel like we've been spent a pretty penny, the quality has been good. My husband would argue it still isn't worth what you pay, but relative to the industry, the quality and the price make a lot more sense than other furniture companies.

Some of the furniture we have were worn out. The fabrics didn’t hold up well as we thought they should. La-Z-Boy had a beautiful selection of furniture at the Wilkes-Barre store and the salesperson was very nice. She didn’t pressure us with anything, but answered our questions and took her time. We got our first La-Z-Boy purchase. The delivery team set everything up where we wanted it. La-Z-Boy met our expectations and we’re pleased with the quality and the fabric choices for chairs that we bought.

I've had La-Z-Boy products in my home for 10 years. Then I moved into a new home and wanted new furniture, so I purchased a sofa and other items from La-Z-Boy recently. The rep, Najeem, was fantastic and her personality and patience were outstanding. Her design expertise and willingness to support me in what I wanted to do was amazing. My experience with La-Z-Boy was great overall, but I'm still waiting for my orders to be delivered.

Uncomfortable La-Z-Boy single arm chair 2 years old - Having paid over £4000 for a 3, 2 and single suite the front frame is pressing on the back of my legs causing blood circulation problems. Spoke to La-Z-Boy whose only interest was for me to pay them for a engineers report for which I was told would not be sent to me and would be sent to SCS. Not happy about their response. I recalled I paid £350 for full comprehensive insurance with SCS only to be told that it could be a cushion problem which is not covered. It is becoming clear any warranty by the manufacturer or insurance that is purchased from SCS is of no help. I'm no expert in suite problems so would at least expected someone to show some interest in finding the fault and a cure.

We bought our first couch from La-Z-Boy Furniture in 2003. I was very impressed because it lasted forever until it started ripping apart. After that, we got a cheap one and that fell apart in a couple of years. I wanted another La-Z-Boy couch that got to last about 10 years. I purchased a power recliner and it's okay so far. Their sales rep was nice. He introduced himself, hung out and answered questions but didn't push anything. It was pricey but was on sale. Plus, we got a military discount on top of the sale so I was very happy with the price. Their delivery team was also nice and friendly, and got the job done. When I need another piece of furniture, I am going to go back there because of the quality. You get what you pay for and it's going to last even if it's a little more expensive.

I got Power Recliners from La-Z-Boy and the sales reps were fine. They helped me make the right choices in fabric and color. I was hoping for a little cheaper cost but everything cost money these days.They told me they’ll be delivering the items in four to six weeks and it'll be four weeks this week since I made the purchase so I'm hoping to hear from them really soon. It might be nice if I were to get a text if they were being made or they've got my order and they're processing it. I haven't really heard anything. I've got the paperwork and all that and I have paid for half of it and I'll pay the other half when they are ready to deliver. Other than that, it was a good experience.

We buy most of our furniture for around 10 years from La-Z-Boy and our overall experience with them has been wonderful. Working with their sales reps have been fantastic. When we walk in the door, their salespeople know us and ask us, "How are you?" There were also two particular sales reps that we work with and if we go in and there's someone else, they say, "Oh, you went Arlene, don't you?"
I bought two reclining chairs from La-Z-Boy since the old La-Z-Boy recliners that we’ve had for about a decade were falling apart. I had the new ones delivered. The quality of the La-Z-Boy furniture is quite good. But there was a hydra bed from this company which we didn’t like after five years. We have a large family and then didn’t use it. We didn’t like the comfort of it, so we bought a new one. Still, I would recommend La-Z-Boy. I had a problem with one of the chairs and three days after I made a phone call, someone showed up and fixed it.

I've had La-Z-Boy furniture for years and we use them till they wear out and we don't have most of those anymore. I've still got one from Costco that we keep in here and we donated the one before that because it was falling apart. I needed a new recliner so I went in and got one 'cause they had a good sale going on. I was a pretty easy customer 'cause I walked in, sat down on the chair I wanted and said, “This is the one I want.” The sales rep went, got the stuff, and wrote up the ticket and we were done. They had it at the warehouse so they were quick. They could deliver it on the next Saturday so I had them deliver it.
I've bought other chairs and La-Z-Boy is one of the best chair manufacturers around. However, I bought a couple of La-Z-Boys off of QVC and I don't know if they make them substandard because they're QVC but with the one that my wife uses, the materials are all falling apart. Other than that, I'm pleased with La-Z-Boy and I'll probably continue to buy them as long as I'm alive.

I’ve had La-Z-Boy in our home for about five years. I'm a big man and I tend to be hard on furniture. My old chair was not in a good shape, so I purchased a sofa, chair and some accessories from La-Z-Boy when we went shopping on Labor Day. The store was convenient and their sales rep sized me up and told me which options were good. There was even one chair that I looked at but she said that as far as size, it wasn’t right for me. We also talked about our home and the room that it's in. She was very helpful and we had taken care of it within an hour and a half.
We were all very tired so we scheduled delivery. I was out in the morning and they said they would call around noon. And when I came home, they had already called. So, I called back to the store to say I was sorry I missed the call. I was worried that I missed it out and would be on tomorrow’s truck. But they traced it and got back to me within five minutes indicating when they would be coming by. I paid more for better quality and it's working very well. Overall, I was very pleased with my furniture and the whole situation.

My daughter bought me the La-Z-Boy chair and she took care of all the arrangements. I am getting handicapped more and more and getting out of the chair was very difficult. I've had it for a month, and so far it's very good. I hadn't been to a La-Z-Boy store in many years and it was a great experience. The man that delivered the new La-Z-Boy took out my two old La-Z-Boys to the alley for me. I like their policy that you could pay the man and they'll take out your old furniture. They were very courteous and polite, and they came when they said they will come. They also called when they were almost here and I had them park in my alley because it would be easier to deliver. It was a nice experience and I've told my friends about it.

I have a rotator cuff injury so I decided to get a La-Z-Boy power recliner. I selected a big heavy chair as I am a big person. About 8 months a support broke off that supports the rocker platform. A La-Z-Boy factory tech came to fix it. I observed him gluing the pluck back in place and driving several screws in place, some bend and some broke as he tried to drive them in.
About six months later it broke off again. I had to call Zucora to schedule a repair. I found out that the La-Z-Boy rep had botched the repair and a new frame section had to be ordered. It was found that La-Z-Boy did not install the supporting dowels into the rocker block and that the tech had damaged the frame putting too many screws in there. This week I had to make another service call as a frame member in the back has come off, causing me to get a sore back. I have a feeling that this is an ongoing problem. What happened to your quality La-Z-Boy!

We purchased a sofa from La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries because it has a look that we like. The representative was brand new but did a good job. We asked questions and she checked things because she wasn't sure. The quality of the sofa is nice and we had it delivered. The sofa went on sale a couple of weeks after we bought it. I called La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries and they gave me the difference and put the credit right back to my card which was great.

La-Z-Boy had the recliner that we wanted so we purchased that along with a sofa and a loveseat five years ago and just re-purchased a recliner recently. It's exactly the same as the one that we have in the other room so we know it would be good. The sales reps were really good. The lady knew exactly what we wanted and triple-checked to make sure, “Okay. This is the material you want. This is the chair that you want.” She went through it really thoroughly which was nice. She did the computer screen to show us exactly what it was like. We scheduled delivery which would take four weeks. Overall, they've been very helpful and friendly.

Purchased new recliner when we did renovations at our home. After a couple of months the fabric peeled badly. After having a heated conversation with the salesman who told me they could not do anything I was sent the same recliner. It did the exact same thing. Have had it covered with a throw ever since as it looks terrible. The chair itself is in good condition with the exception of the fabric. Since the chair is still working I thought to have it reupholstered. But the cost of new fabric and the upholstering is too expensive. So I will continue to tell my story when friends inquire about the ugly La-Z-Boy.

My dad had bought a La-Z-Boy back in the day and I always remembered that it's all I wanted when I was a kid. I met with two sales reps on different occasions and they were both all right. I had the furniture delivered and the delivery went smoothly. I've had it for a month-and-a-half now and I like its quality. Then I went back to the dealership and when I sat down on the furniture, the restored model keeps up my upright position and I was like sitting directly on a rock given my feet. The one that I have right now tends to lean back a little further so the rep helped install some of the switches or the levers. I tried to pop on the seat that was balanced, but I haven't found quite the perfect fit yet. But other than that, the recliner is worth the value and I'm very satisfied. I'll try again in a little bit to get another.

When I retired I wanted leather furniture that was very good quality and would last. Based on previous La-Z-Boy furniture in the past that lasted us for many years (20+), we decided La-Z-Boy was what we wanted, and although very expensive we figured it was worth the cost. But, after 2 years the furniture had plastic parts breaking, and the leather started to look stressed and old. I had discussed with the store we purchased this and they wanted to charge a lot just to come look at it. They said they would waive the charges if I would allow the technician to come by when in our area to save them a trip. I agreed but that was 4 months ago and no contact from La-Z-Boy. This company’s quality has gone out the window along with their customer service. We will never buy from them again and pay high price for low quality items.

I was sold a sectional in 2015 whose fabric has deteriorated to the point that I need to throw out the couch after only a year and a half of use. If the company bought a bad product from a supplier I would think that they would be willing to assist me with some credit or replacement assistance and complain to their supplier, but all I get is that it's not covered under any warranties so I am out of luck.

I gave my son my La-Z-Boy recliner after I purchased a new one. This chair recently broke and I told my son La-Z-Boy has a lifetime guarantee. To take it to a local dealer and request that it be repaired. Unfortunately he was refused service because he could not supply all the information that was requested. It is very apparent that it is a La-Z-Boy recliner, why oh why does your company require information about where it was purchased, when was it purchased, etc. It's a La-Z-Boy so it should be repaired, as per your advertised claim. Please advise how we should proceed to have this chair repaired.

We heard La-Z-Boy was good and we were looking for recliners at that time. We have a home theater downstairs, so we have six of them down there. We’ve had them for, probably, 18 years now. We also have two loveseats, a chair and a sofa in our family room. But the sofa broke down. What happened was that my son who is mentally handicapped would put the recliner up and then he’d get up with the recliner still extended, so something in there broke and you could still put the leg part out but it wouldn’t go back.
The only problem we had was that we live in Michigan and my husband does not like to go to Ohio. He wants to keep his money in Michigan, so I had gotten on the internet and I thought there was one in North Ann Arbor, Michigan. I was told they’re individually owned and that the store closed down. We ended up going to the headquarters and they told me the closest one was in Toledo, which we said we weren’t going to go there. They told us about the other place where we did go. That was a little disappointing. We had to end up making two trips because my husband didn’t want to keep on driving that same day.
When we first went to their store, I told my husband, “I don’t want to get waited on. I just want to walk around and look first.” Someone came right over and I started talking to her and she really helped us a lot. I had a piece of my carpet. I had the arm color from the chair because it’s a print and then I took pictures. I showed them to her and I told her I didn’t want another leather sofa. I want to replace it with cloth but I told her I didn’t have any clue what color I should go with and so she helped me with that and then she helped me take care of the material. The delivery guys were very helpful. They showed us how to tape the old sofa. We didn’t know how to take the back off so we could move it around and they showed us how to do it. The new furniture was very comfortable and the back cushions are very soft. I don’t have any problem pushing the back up where it goes but I hope I won’t have a problem with it within a year’s time.

I cannot express deeply enough my disappointment in the quality of your furniture. My wife and I bought two chairs just about one year ago and they look like they are much older already. The finish on the wood is wearing on all edges where just our arms touch. The chairs do not feel solid and I can hardly imagine getting more than just a few years out of these chairs. These chairs cost 1200 dollars each.
When these were first delivered they had to be replaced right away because the chairs were in such poor shape as delivered. There was a bad rip in the fabric on one chair and both were wobbly and looked to be very poorly made. The two replacement chairs were better but still not wonderful. I accepted them because I felt worn down by the several month process that finally brought them to my house. You and your company should be ashamed to put your names on these chairs. If it were up to me I would fight for a full refund. As it is I will recommend nobody ever buy La-Z-Boy ever.

We bought a leather sofa and put it on their La-Z-Boy finance with Synchrony Financial. It was to my understanding that it was deferred interest/no interest. Our statement even says purchase with no interest promo. It says on our statement an interest charge as well. Even the salesman told us there would be no interest for one year if paid in full. My frustration is if the interest is deferred there is still interest I have to pay?!? Our balance is also going up with the interest as well. Even with a small interest charge per month is a bigger one in total by the end of the year. Is that deceit or bait and switch to get more money?

We just bought a house and we wanted to get new furniture. We looked around and ended up going with La-Z-Boy. Although it has a higher price, we liked it and gave it a shot. They had a beautiful showroom and they were very, very nice people. Although I wish they were a little bit cheaper so we could get some more furniture from them. The sales reps were amazing. They helped design the room and it was a very pleasant and professional experience.

We had our previous furniture, especially our recliners, for about 10 years and we were due. I stepped in the La-Z-Boy store and their rep was very helpful. She steered me towards the interior designer, who also helped us immensely because we were always having problems with arranging furniture given the way our living room is situated.
The interior designer was very professional. She was just top drawer and we love her to pieces. She stepped in and did a fabulous job with how she arranged the living room with the new recliners that were coming. She also suggested wall treatments, which we purchased, lamps and rugs. When we saw all the pieces put together on the computer, it was a wow factor for us. So, we were very excited. La-Z-Boy is supposed to call us today to set up a delivery time for tomorrow. But so far, we’re very happy with our dealings with La-Z-Boy and hopefully, we will use their services again. My total experience was great and I recommended them to a number of people and two already have got their services.

I purchased this La-Z-Boy chair just a few months ago from a store in Salinas, California. I paid $944.96 on sale. Anyways as shown in the pictures there is no back support at all on this poor quality chair. All the stuffing whatever is gone. Also the seat itself has started to sink on the rear right hand side. I phoned La-Z-Boy’s corporate and was treated very very poorly. The lady was so rude and offensive that I then used the worst profanity I had ever spoken. Cussing her out. Anyways on the 28th of September 2017 Signature Galleries came to pick up my chair. They say it will receive new springs and stuffing.
I am so outraged and mad because a chair that is nearly a thousand dollars should last longer than 4 months. La-Z-Boy offered me no apology nothing. I am even thinking about going to court and demand a refund and damages. This shows me that the quality of La-Z-Boy is below standard and this company doesn't care. I am now without a chair until mine is rebuilt and my spine and back are feeling horrible. The chair was purchased for medical reasons. Anyways I am not impressed with the store I bought this junk from nor La-Z-Boy itself as a company. I will now make it my mission in life to let everyone know never to buy or purchase anything made by this manufacturer.

I only had one chair in the house and when I went to La-Z-Boy, the sales rep, Jim, was very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. But my experience with the delivery was a little problematic. They weren't very responsive to exactly where I wanted the furniture placed and there were two pieces that weren’t attached. Also, they gave me no information about the batterie. They just brought the stuff in, put it together, and left. I wished they had been more receptive to even show me how the furniture was put together. There were all sorts of pieces to it and they didn’t really show me much about the pieces that I needed and what I didn’t need.
Also, the table that I purchased was a little bit too big for the room so I went back and talked to Jim and he and another employee came out to the house and helped me move the furniture where it needed to be and gave me good information about the batteries. I was impressed that they would actually come to my house and do that. I like the furniture and I'm happy I have them. They are a worthwhile investment.

15 years ago, we bought a recliner from La-Z-Boy which was the first big purchase. We moved into a new house so we wanted something new to go with it and our old couch was falling apart so it was time to buy new furniture. The sales reps at La-Z Boy were great. We told them what we were looking for and they were able to design exactly what we wanted. We picked out our fabric and everything went smoothly. We had the sectional couch delivered to our house and the delivery team was great. Right after they left I sat down to try one of the recliners and it didn’t work but I was able to call the number and they had somebody out here within a week to replace the piece that was broken for the recliner to pull out.
We’ve only had it about two months but it’s extremely comfortable so we’re pleased so far. However, it doesn’t stay in place well. It's not a big adjustment but we need to get something to put under the seat because the back of it is on a hardwood floor so it seems to get pushed apart a little bit. I’ve had a great experience with La-Z-Boy and it was completely pain-free for making that kind of purchase.

My old La-Z-Boy wore out so I purchased a new one. Everybody I've met at the store and the delivery drivers as well were professional and pleasant. Plus the quality has been fine so far.

I have been a loyal La-Z-Boy customer for over 20 years. Other products I have purchased have lasted years. Until now, I bought a whole new sectional for my home and I was told that the leather like material actually holds up better than real leather. Now after less than 3 years it is wearing through and I cannot get La-Z-Boy to replace the pieces. We only use the sofa 1/2 the year, since we live in another region during the summer months. I am so disappointed and feel that after spending several thousand dollars on what is suppose to be quality product that I now have to buy all new furniture. I bought the 5 year warranty and cannot get a hold of anyone to fix the problem. This was suppose to last like my other La-Z-Boy items. The fabric is defective.

We're a family of La-Z-Boy people and I grew up with it in my parents' home. Then, in my first apartment, I saved up to get a La-Z-Boy Rocker for myself. We had a couch and a love seat. It looked nice and it was leather. Plus, it was comfortable. However, it was neither supportive nor firm enough, so we wanted a couch where we could get up and down out of at our age. We were not planning on buying the chairs, but when while on the showroom floor we thought it would be nice to have two matching chairs.
It's wonderful and we're loving it. Our only regret is that we weren't there sooner because the matching ottoman is no longer available. We scheduled for delivery and it went perfectly. They were polite, efficient, and were on time. They set it down where we wanted and I've got no complaints. Our saleslady was wonderful and did a great job. She also asked about our living room decor and coloring. She asked if what we bought was a really neutral color and we told her about the two other colors that we have. She went over and picked out a fabric sample that had the color of the couch, the color of my husband's chair, and the color of my recliner. Then she tied it all together in fabric. We also had pillows made by La-Z-Boy. It was wonderful and she coordinated all that and she picked out a perfect pattern that ties it all together. She went above and beyond. They provide great products, service, and delivery. You can't go wrong.

I have a problem with my legs and though I can get a recliner to go up, I can never get it to go down. So we wanted something of good quality that would go down by power and checked out La-Z-Boy. It was our first time buying from them and we got a power sofa and a power recliner. The sales rep was very nice and then the boss stepped in and said the delivery won’t take six weeks and should only take a couple of weeks since they have it in stock all the time. The sofa and recliner matched what we had at home but we had to redecorate a little bit to make it look like it’s been there for a while. So my husband and I hurried up and did a couple of things around the house to get it all ready. We also threw away our other couch thinking our new furniture is coming in about three weeks.
Five weeks on and it still hasn’t come. We had a birthday party for my daughter with no living room furniture. And I have been in contact with the girl, the sales rep I spoke with at the store, probably four times there. I was so upset, I went to her and cried. I should’ve just listened to her and the boss should’ve kept his mouth shut. It finally came after seven weeks and delivery was scheduled on a Wednesday but it came on Tuesday. And thank God, one of my kids was home because I was in the emergency department.
It was really messed up, I don’t know if I’d ever go back. It’s been an all-around crappy experience and I haven’t sat in them because the delivery guys brought them in and pull up in the middle of the house. And I can’t move them and my husband can’t move it by himself. My heart is broken about it. The things they show on TV about the experience customers are going to get, they should stop running those commercials if they’re not going to live up to the expectations they’ve put to people.

My husband purchased a leather recliner and paid 2700 for it less than 6 months ago. It discolored in less than 4 months in the seat. The furniture company we purchased it from picked it up and brought another one and it's done the same thing in less than 6 weeks. Now we're told it's from our 7 pound Yorkie who doesn't even sit in the chair!!! Totally disappointed in La-Z-Boy. I guess if we aren't satisfied our only recourse will be small claims court.

The Social Support Dept, of La-Z-Boy contacted me and offered to contact the Service Department in South Carolina to see if they would work with me on the sofa. The bottomline is: They will charge $175 per hour, they will not remove the craft store fill the previous serviceman used but will place more in the sofa and I will pay for that. They want me to understand there is no warranty on this furniture. Needless to say, nothing has been resolved. Please do not waste your money on this company.

I wanted a recliner and needed a small size. I looked it up on the internet and saw that La-Z-Boy had the 29 width. I went down the store and bought it. The sales rep was very helpful and shared with me different kinds of products such as if I wanted a lift chair and the different materials and all. I was going to take a different color and he said it would be about five weeks. I said, "I'm 94 years old. I might not be around in five weeks." So, I ordered the color that was on the floor. I bought it on a Wednesday and it came on Friday and the delivery was fine. It was done by two gentlemen and they just brought it in and set it up, and shared with me how to adjust it. My daughter and son and all were here with me and it was fine. The quality is very good so far and I use it everyday. The experience went really smoothly for me and I had no problems.

I recently moved into a new home and sold a bunch of my stuff before I moved. The only piece I had left was a La-Z-Boy sofa, but I decided that the room needed a sectional rather than just a sofa and a chair so I sold that. I've had so many La-Z-Boy pieces in the past 25 years. Though it was a little bit on the expensive side even for the good the quality, it's worth it to have something that I can keep for a really long time.
The showroom in Cary was really nice and they had just about every style that La-Z-Boy offers. I wanted something that wasn't hard to get in and out of since I'm a tall person. The sales rep let me sit on a couple of pieces that were low just to show me what they were like and then she helped me find the one I wanted. Then she originally told me that the delivery was between six and eight weeks, but it got here in four weeks. The delivery team brought everything in and set it exactly where I wanted it. They also let me test it out to make sure all the reclining pieces worked okay. I've had it a few weeks now and it's exactly what I wanted. I love it and would recommend it to somebody who is looking for a good furniture.

We bought a new house and we thought of purchasing new furniture from La-Z-Boy because we knew it's a higher-end quality compared to other furniture places. We went to their store a few times, so I spoke to different reps and everyone from their sales service team was helpful. We purchased a sofa and a chair. The cost was fair. We had a good deal because at that time there was a sale going on. Also the week after that, one of the pieces was even cheaper and we were able to get refunded the difference. The pieces were delivered to our house and their team came in between the window that they said. They also set everything up as needed. So far, the sofa and chair’s quality is good. This was my first time to purchase from La-Z-Boy and I would definitely go back to shop around. I would recommend them to people as well.
