Buyer beware. I've had nothing but trouble with my furniture and bought the extended warranty only to get denied. Cushions broke down, frame boards are pushing through, seams have came apart, and was told none of these issues are covered under the warranty that I specifically bought in case things like this happened. Will never buy from them again.

I recently purchased furniture from Ashley and when they delivered the furniture they did not secure the furniture with the proper bolts and screws. We did not know this until the furniture collapsed. I went to the store where I purchased the furniture and was told they would send out a repair person to fix the item because it's still under warranty. They had me take pictures of the item and send them into their repair department. Unfortunately this has been over a month since this happened and when I call their office I am told that their supervisors are not there or don't work on weekends. I am writing this review because I keep getting the run around and my furniture is still broken. I was even told that their email system has been down for 3 weeks and that may be why they have not returned any emails from me. I am tired of the excuses and need resolution or just return my money and I can return the broken item.

We purchased a dining room table and chairs, paid in full, to be delivered on 3/29/2024. It didn't arrive. I called customer service and they had no active order on file. I called the sales person. She realized she never added the receipt and said it was all fixed. Again, it was to be delivered on 4/9. Again, I had a no show. I called the "866" number again. The recording had no active order associated with my number. I called the sales person who stated she took care of the problem two weeks ago.
I called the store several times requesting the manager to call me, leaving voice mails because no-one answered the phone. I received no call back. The sales person promised me two extra chairs for inconvenience. I asked her to have the manager call me. She informed me that the original manager got fired and the new manager knew nothing about the issue. I decided to call another store in Auburn Hills. I spoke to the manager, Austin. I sent him all my paperwork. He forwarded it to the new manager at the Novi Store and told me wait to hear back from them. I received no call from the Novi manager or salesperson.
I called back Austin. He found the issue with the sales and fixed it. Therefore, the salesperson still had not fixed the issue. He put the paperwork through and told me he would take off the delivery cost. I had the furniture delivered on 4/17. I love the furniture but I got zero help with Ashley customer service and the Novi store. To this date, I have not heard from anyone from the Novi store. I thank Austin for fixing the problem, however I still haven't seen the refund for the delivery cost and never got the two extra chairs I was promised. I would not recommend the Novi store...stay clear. They are obviously mismanaged. I like the furniture but I did a lot the leg work to get it delivered while it had been fully paid. I have to give Austin in Auburn Hills five stars for getting it delivered and fixing the issue. Buying furniture should not be this hard!! I have tried to upload photos and receipt, but it exceed the max upload size!! Again, nothing simple!!!

Stay away from shopping at the store. Customer service is a nightmare and they do not honor their word. I went into the store and ordered an expensive recliner. Pick the color I wanted and paid for it. When they delivered it, it was the wrong color. It was ugly, dark brown, which did not match my furniture at all. This is not the color I selected. 10 minutes after I called the store to have a delivery man come back and retrieve the chair, they stated they did not have the driver's telephone numbers which of course is a lie. For days I emailed text and waited for hours. Trying to talk to somebody they would not return my calls they would not refund it and they would not exchange it. It’s on their site, however, if you go to Better Business Bureau customer affair and other places, single review is a one my advice stay away from this store and do not shop here.

Customer service was so unhelpful. I called to get help with a broken dresser we purchased from Ashley Home Store. The customer service staff were rude and took down my information only to never call me back. I called 5 different times after my initial call and always after I gave my name and who I had spoken to initially customer service staff were “on break” or “on lunch” or “not available”. Dresser looks nice but horrible quality - the tracks used to slide the dresser drawers in and out broke, and now 2 drawers won't even go in. The fact that the customer service staff ghosted us and treated us poorly we won’t buy from this company again.

If I could give a. zero, I would! Ashley Furniture Store (the corporation) are masters at manipulating the public! Why not put those energies into making true, quality furniture. I was hesitant about purchasing our king sized bedroom set from them, but Hubby was insistent. The set is right at a month old and is falling apart at the seams…literally! We spent 8,000 on a set that we have determined is not even wood. Ashley refuses to repair the headboard that is already falling apart. Buyer be aware and save yourself the headache and disappointment… Stay away from Ashley Furniture Stores. Big prices and even bigger disappointment!

So far I couldn't even give it a star but had yo in order to submit this review. The absolute worst service I've ever had. After having the sofa chaise for a month and paying $2000 00 being told it was a real Ashley product I've dealt with this thing falling apart and not standing up to what I used to know as Ashley. I've had to have a technician come to take a nail out of the arm of the chaise as it caused a danger, they had to take the chaise out of my home to put padding in an arm for safety reasons, had to have them level the chaise to the loveseat part as it did not sit even. Cushions became extremely hard after sitting on and chaise started to sink in making it very hard to get out of.
After months of being put off and being told they are waiting for Ashley to reply time went on until the year was up and there was no manufactures warranty left. This was a sham, my complaints were well within and prior to the year warranty and had no resolve. Julie customer service representative had told me Ashley isn't the same as Ashley use to be and I should have been expected to not have the same quality as Ashley once was 20 years ago. The other representative named Debbie told me I could sell it online to recoup some of my money. At this point I'm not accepting this terrible service and demand some sort of restoration. I have to put padding underneath my cushions to keep it from sinking... My recommendation is to not purchase from this sham business they call Ashley Furniture.

Sale rep offer warranty stated if my chairs stained they would come and clean them. I file a claim which is not very friendly to do so. They reply it is not cover. I call the store and Sack stated it is not a cleaning service. I got the warranty because people and grandkids touch chairs with dirty hand. 2 of my chairs have a pink stain and it is not cover. They wanted to know how it happened. I don't know family and friends come sit and I don't inspect their hand before they pull out chairs to sit. If I would of known this is not cover I wouldn't bought warranty. Wasted my money.

Cheap! Cheap! Cheap!!! I purchased the Huddle Up reclining sofa 14 months ago. I just pulled the handle to lift the recliner and the handle snapped right in two. I called Ashley Furniture to report the issue and they told me they won't fix it because I have had it for over a year. I asked them if they will just send me the part to fix it, but I was told that I will have to pay for it. "Even though it is a manufacturer defect?" I asked. He told me it is NOT a manufacturer defect because the sofa lasted a year. Apparently, Ashley furniture is made to only last one year! I do not recommend them to anyone! Their products are CHEAP!!!

I ordered Ashley Furniture on 12-5-23 with a promise to be Delivered 12-26-23, however it wasn't delivered until 1-2-24. They delivered my order Broken and Damaged. Upon researching, this is their behavior, not only with the 150+ stores in the franchise, but also is a Common Scam Ashley Furniture operates worldwide.
1) The entire chair is crooked/lopsided.
2) The seat cushion is caved in at the tailbone area.
3) The left arm of the chair makes a popping noise when leaned on.
I returned to the store to for help on the matter & was given a phone number to the "Solution Dept" and told ONLY they can deal with my concerns after a sale. I called the number & was told that they basically don't care if it was delivered broken, they have the right to repair it and I don't have a choice or right to return it. They said they would "repair" it (less than 5-6 weeks old mind you).
After much research, I learned Ashley Furniture Breached our Contract. I paid for New, Undamaged Furniture and they did not deliver as promised. I am legally entitled to be made whole. Instead they're trying to force me to repair their junk they sent me. Due to Ashley Furniture's Fraudulent Practices & Breach of Contract, our Contract is NULL and VOID. Violating Michigan’s Antitrust Laws and failure of the Federal Lemon Law (Magnusom-Moss Warranty Act), they Failed Me!
It’s not just me, it’s thousands of other Ashley Furniture Consumers (that’s just in the USA). Most complaints are regarding Broken Furniture, Not Honoring Warranties, Breach of Contracts and using Fraudulent/Deceptive Business Practices to Cheat Consumers. I, in good faith, paid for my furniture. Ashley Furniture took my money and I was left to trust they will uphold their end of Our Contract. And yet, they continue to threaten to keep my money, after their Failure of our Sales Contract.

I am deeply disappointed with my experience with Ashley Furniture. I purchased a bedroom set from their Santa Fe, NM store in August 2022, and it has been nothing but trouble since day one. To start with, the delivery process was a nightmare. The delivery men marked up my walls, damaging them in the process, and even ruined one of the nightstands. While they did replace the damaged nightstand, they completely neglected to address the damage they caused to my walls, leaving me to foot the bill for repairs. The $200 reimbursement offered was laughably inadequate considering the extent of the damage.
Now, just over a year later, the drawers of the bedroom set are falling apart. The side bars are coming off, and the wood is so flimsy that I can't even attempt to fix them myself. When I reached out to Ashley Furniture's customer service to inquire about warranty coverage, I was met with a dismissive response. I was informed that the warranty period had expired after just one year, leaving me responsible for any repairs.
To make matters worse, I received a call from Ashley Furniture's corporate office, where I was told in no uncertain terms that they would not replace or repair the furniture, citing the expired warranty. This level of disregard for their customers is simply unacceptable. I expected better from a company like Ashley Furniture, but unfortunately, their poor quality products and lackluster customer service have left me deeply dissatisfied. I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing furniture from Ashley Furniture to think twice and explore other options.

The sales part of the experience was fine. We spent a lot of money to buy all new furniture for our new home. Delivery is something else and a horrible experience. Avoid! Delivery folks carried boxes in our new home and leaned large boxes against white walls damaging paint, and scraping walls as they moved furniture into the rooms. Crews were unclear on where remaining furniture was or if it was even coming the same day as planned. We finally got in touch with someone that told us that none of our furnishings were coming that day except for the bed mattress and lift frame. Basically ended up sleeping on the floor for several days. The next delivery finally came with some of the outdoor furniture and we had no issue.
The next delivery we had wrong and missing parts for the tv/fireplace. The fireplace insert was the wrong size. Still waiting on the missing parts (support rail) that goes behind the fireplace to make it stationary in the tv stand. Still waiting, going on three weeks now. Delivery guys say the first crew must have taking that part with them by accident. Have fun if you try to get ahold of someone in customer service. The automated system will totally frustrate you before you ever talk to a human. I'm sure they eliminated people by making it automated. Well that decision should be reviewed.
Found damage on the dresser after delivery. Still waiting on a response. Found one bar stool coming apart at the cross members. Still waiting on night stand to be delivered. Again automated system wanted to confirm delivery and sent me a text on Saturday to confirm. I replied Yes, and got a text saying "great, we look forward to seeing you on Tuesday 4/16". We didn't get a text that they were coming on 4/16 so again called. They say delivery was never confirmed.
There is more but I know people will get bored with this. All I can say is if you are in the Houston area, avoid them. Go to Gallery Furniture. Mattress Mac will have your furniture delivered the same day. No I have no connection to Gallery but if I had my money back I would go there and avoid Ashley Furniture. There have been no apologies or calls to us to make it right. I won't go back.

We purchased 2 end tables for our den over the phone after actually seeing them in the showroom. It took us a minute to decide to buy them. After purchasing, we advised them on the phone of the day we could come pick them up & they agreed. We drove 30 minutes from one county to the next to pick them up only to be told, "Oh! They're not here, they're at our warehouse" (another 30 minutes across the county). So maddening. They could have informed us of this at purchase.
Then, when we picked them up at the warehouse, we found out they were in pieces & we had to assemble them. No one ever mentioned this in the showroom, on the phone, or again when we drove to the 2 different locations to pick them up. And... the salesperson, Sarah, who initially waited on us in the showroom, couldn't be bothered to even get up from her table when we came to the showroom to pick them up. She sat across the room & told us they were at their warehouse. No common courtesy customer service whatsoever. Also, idk whom I talked to when I called the showroom but, the woman who answered had zero interest in helping me. She sounded like it was a chore to do her job. Never again will we do business here. We paid $150 for their delivery and to have it assembled. When they were done assembling it it was wrong. The slats for holding the mattress were not spaced out the way they were supposed to be. There was 2 spots where they were all bunched together. There was a about a foot at the end of the bed that had no slats and no support so when you sat at the end of the bed you just about went right through it.
My wife pointed it out to the installer and he said it was all good. It wasn't. After they left I walked into the bedroom and first glance I said that's not right. We had to unscrew all the slats and fix it ourselves. Later that day we realized that the carriage bolts holding the headboard were all sticking out. They were all loose. Again we had to remove the mattress and pull the bed out and tighten everything up. The bench we bought that was supposed to be delivered at the same time didn't show up. We had to go back to the store and pick it up. Terrible service. We should of put it together ourselves and picked it up. That was a waste of $150.
We had a delivery date and time set. They kept texting and emailing for a confirmation on the delivery date and it was confirmed at least 15 to 20 times but they just kept texting and emailing. Even after it was delivered they were texting to confirm a delivery date. They never had a clue what was going on. I have tried calling to talk to a manager but keep getting the runaround. I said ok and it was agreed upon. I went to the store to choose another mattress which I was told I have to wait. They don't have the approval yet.
Next day I received another phone call from a different Manager URIEL R. who stated that the information was incorrect and that they don't have any return/exchange policy for the Ashley mattress and because it was already offered to me they are still willing to exchange the mattress but the restocking fee will not be 10% anymore but 40% instead. I am a returning customer and was planning on purchasing a sofa set. This company has loss me as a customer. They have no customer satisfaction and no conscience. I will figure out another way to make this mattress work for me, either purchase pillowtop etc but I refused to give this company any more of my money/business. DO NOT PURCHASE, THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. JUST WHAT THEY CAN GET FROM YOU.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had with your company. Unfortunately, I must warn potential buyers to exercise caution when considering doing business with you. My interaction with your company, as well as the associated delivery service provided by FedEx, has been nothing short of a nightmare. The issues and setbacks I faced have not only been frustrating but have also left me and my family emotionally drained. let's say a house without a table.
It is disheartening to highlight that the level of service provided by your company and FedEx has significantly fallen below acceptable standards. The mishandling of my package, coupled with the lack of accountability, has been utterly disappointing. Moreover, the constant delays, miscommunication, and false promises only added to my dismay. I firmly believe that your company's actions and negligence have not only affected me financially but have also impacted my emotional well-being.
It is evident that your company's practices lack transparency and fail to prioritize customer satisfaction. Despite my repeated requests for a full refund, I was continuously met with excuses and unfulfilled promises. The ordeal of my package being declared lost, only to miraculously reappear damaged and incomplete upon delivery, is unacceptable. The fact that your team failed to provide a satisfactory resolution to compensate for the distress and inconvenience caused is deeply disappointing.
I must emphasize that I do not seek store credits or inadequate discounts as a resolution. What I demand is to be fairly compensated for my emotional distress, delivered damaged considering the magnitude of the inconvenience and distress caused by your company's actions. The mere suggestion of a nominal discount offer, with no expedited shipping or compensatory measures, is unacceptable. In conclusion, I regret to inform you that, due to this overwhelmingly negative experience, I have lost all trust and confidence in your company.
My perception of your brand has been tarnished, and I have no intention of engaging in any future business dealings with you. I expect a prompt response to this complaint and a resolution that reflects the seriousness of the situation. The lack of timely and satisfactory action on your part will leave me with no choice to leave this review for other buyers. Thank you for your attention to this matter. No Mods needed. They are trying to tell me it is water damage. We have not had an significant spills that weren't cleaned up right away. If a kitchen tables can withhold a little spill then the product itself is garbage. It's sad that Ashley furniture's products can't last longer than 7 months. I purchased an Ashley love seat on January 10, 2024. It was delivered on January 17th. Great so far. When it was delivered I told the delivery man that something was not right because the recliner would not close completely. He did something to make it close and told me that it probably needed to be "broken in". I tried it and called the store in Houma, LA where I purchased it immediately only to be told that I had to call this other number. Once it is sold it is not their problem anymore.
I called that number and was given another number to send pictures to. Long story short is that I have had contact with all departments, managers, and even the Regional District Manager. I have a very long fed of text with them. They were first coming on January 31 to fix it. Then I was told that the part would be mailed out the first week of February. Different story every time I contact them. This morning when I inquired about the parts I was told late May. There is a reason that there are no customer cars in their parking lot. I just thought that I hit a slow day. Now I understand the part about buy local.

STAY FAR AWAY. I have NEVER dealt with such incompetence in my life. We purchased a Tempur-Pedic mattress and a Tempur-Pedic Ergo ProSmart Base on 3/18/24, for more than $11,000. The products were delivered to our home on March 26. Within an hour of the delivery I called to report that the product was defective; the main box on the base and/or the cord are defective and the cord does not stay in. The delivery team returned to my home (after dozens of phone calls begging for someone's help, and being unable to reach this store AT ALL) and agreed that the product is defective.
Within minutes of the bed being delivered and the delivery men leaving, we realized the adjustable base did not work. I called Tempur-Pedic and we were able to determine where the defect was. However, when I asked them to send a technician to fix it per our 10 year warranty, I was told I have to contact Ashley's. We have spent HOURS upon hours on the phone going back and forth between the two companies. Tempur-Pedic tells us to call Ashley's, Ashley's tells us to call Tempur-Pedic. We made it clear from day one that if the problem is not resolved immediately, we want to return the product for a full refund.
Per "Ashley & Ashley Outlet Sales Order Terms and Conditions", that was stapled to our receipt on the day of purchase, "Please inspect your items on delivery or pickup. For No-Hassle Delivery + Assembly and Doorstep Delivery items, you MUST contact customer care at 1-800-477-0097 within three (3) business days of delivery if your item is damaged or defective, and we'll work with you to repair, replace, or pick-up the item..."
When an Ashley's technician finally came to our home on Friday, March 29, he told us that we would need to contact Tempur-Pedic about the problem. I told him that each company insists it's the other company's problem. We don't want it fixed or replaced, we want it returned. The technician, Keith, ZIP-TIED the cords together under the bed, the $11,000+ bed, and told us that Ashley's customer care will get in contact with Tempur-Pedic's customer care to sort it out, and contact us. Later that afternoon we received an email from Ashley's stating that we must contact Tempur-Pedic to resolve the problem. I immediately contacted the Ashley's at 9200 W. Sahara where the products were purchased. I asked to speak to **, the sales leader, who assisted with the original sale. I was told she was busy and the woman I spoke to took my name and phone number down. We never heard back from ** or anyone at the store.
On Saturday, March 30, my wife and I went to the Ashley Store at 9200 Sahara. We immediately found **, handed her all our documentation regarding the hell we had been through, and told her we want the product returned. She said she needed to contact her regional manager. While we were waiting ** came over and tried to tell us that the product could not be returned. We showed her the "RETURNS AND CANCELLATION" clause stated above and told her that is incorrect. We received a defective product and are within our rights to return it for a full refund and we reported the defect IMMEDIATELY.
** asked that we send her a picture of the zip-tied wires under the bed, despite the fact that the technician had taken pictures the day prior. I sent the pictures to ** and she assured me she forwarded the pictures and the documentation to her regional manager. We reiterated that we want to return the product for a full refund. When she called us at 5pm her tune had completely changed. She was insistent that products could not be returned, in particular, because it is bedding. We are still fighting to return these products. PLEASE do not shop at this store, or ANY Ashley's location, unless you want to go through this hell. I assure you we are not the first customers this has happened to, and we will not be the last.

Apparently Ashley has so much confidence in their managers the buck stops there, and there is no one outside the store to go to. No discount on the delivery or anything. I got a very hard time to understand what they were saying. We were crying and shocked if we actually still live in the U.S.A. I have not had a good experience with Ashley Furniture. On February 3, 2024 I ordered a Couch and loveseat set. These were delivered on 2/18/24. We noticed right away that the loveseat was uneven. I called customer care and sent pictures showing the cushion on the loveseat was uneven. They sent out a tech on 3/1/24 and he noticed right away the issue was. He said there was a mechanism missing, he also said that was ordered and we should have received it. Nothing ever came, we didn't even know there was a part missing causing the issue. SO the tech ordered one, and three weeks went by and we hadn't received information.
Called customer care, who was very rude and disconnected me 4 times. When I called back the 5th time, they said the piece should be delivered by 3/18 and 3/20 and a tech will be out on 3/22/23. That day we received 4 pieces. When the tech I told him what was wrong and he responded, "I'll try to fix it." When he was done attaching the piece it was still uneven. When I told him that he said, "I tried to fix it." So I called customer care today, and argued that the tech did not fix the loveseat.
The customer care rep said the techs notes show the job was done. I offered to send more pictures to show the job was not done and was put on hold. She came back on the phone and said the best they could do was send a rep out on 4/9/24 and send another tech out to fix the loveseat. Then she said she can't guarantee that the same tech won't show up. So not only do we have to wait another week for it to be fixed we might get the same tech who didn't fix it the first time. I asked if she could request a different tech and she said no. I asked why and was told the best she could do was put a note that it wasn't fixed correctly. I don't see how that's going to help, and this point I am ready to send the loveseat back and get a refund. Ashley may be number for mattresses, but they are not even in the top 10 one furniture in my opinion. This will be the last time I order anything from Ashley Furniture.

We purchased a dining room table set a few years ago from this Ashley's Showroom in Murrieta. While the table looks good in our kitchen we have run into problems. There are bubbles forming around the top of the table that are unsightly. The top layer is delaminating as this isn't real wood but a cheap laminate. We purchased an extended warranty that Ashley's offers and contacted the store for repair. They told us to contact the third party warranty company as they would not be liable for any defects or damage after the one year warranty. When we contacted the warranty company they asked when we 1st started noticing the bubbles. My wife was honest and told them she began noticing it about a month and a half ago but the delamination is increasing and more and more bubbles are forming. The company rep told us we were obligated to notified them with 30 days of any damage or defect and that they would NOT be liable for any repairs.
After talking to several knowledgeable furniture store owners I was told to contact the original Ashley's and they may be able to provide some assistance. Here's where my education in the furniture business was exposed. I spoke to Tom, the manager at Ashley's in Murrieta who was friendly and sympathetic to our situation was unable to help us. He told me most furniture built nowadays was "Throwaway" and after a few years the newer generation of buyers just tossed it due to changes in their style or the breakdown of cheaper man made materials fabricated overseas.
The days of buying a real piece of wood furniture are over due to manufacturing costs. He said if they sold a real piece of solid wood furniture it would cost thousands of dollars and today's buyer would not be able to afford it. He told us it's not Ashley's fault for selling lost cost, cheaply made furniture but the consumers as that is what allows them to make a profit and stay in business in these tough economic times. While I appreciate Tom's honesty it was still a difficult pill to swallow. He did recommend to reach out to local furniture repairmen who should be able to make the needed repairs. In the meantime we're stuck with a bubbled dining room table in our 50K remodeled kitchen. I will never buy furniture from Ashley's again and just so you know, they manufacture their furniture sold at other more respected furniture retailers as well like Mathis Bros.

We weren't sure about keeping them, but the delivery person said Ashley Furniture would exchange them for a different color if we weren't happy. However, when we tried to switch because of bad lighting, the sales manager, Salima, said no exchanges were allowed, going against what the delivery person told us.
As a repeat customer, I was upset. I didn't want money back – I just wanted to swap the chairs, but they flat-out said no. Their customer service is terrible, especially after you buy something. Even the person who sold us the furniture didn't bother to call us back. Watch out for Ashley Furniture – they act nice when you walk in, but if something goes wrong with your order, you're on your own. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for furniture.

On October 2023, I bought online a drawer for my daughter room, later on February 2024 I finally decided to ensemble the furniture, it is absolutely garbage, the handler does not match the holes on the drawers, the material is peeling off, the drawers rail to dot align, some drawers are doesn't even close fully; I proceed to call Ashley Customer Service online or app purchases, talked with Joshua **, he sent me a message with his email and asked me to send the pictures to that email, he said he will reply that way, that was done on Feb 23 2024, so far, no answer, comment or anything at all, I have called to the customer service number and they keep making me wait until my call is cut.
On March 2023, I went to the Ashley Homestore in Cary - NC, after carefully reviewing all the furniture and spend some time there, my husband I requested a detail of everything that we have liked, there were some difficulties to receive it but after requesting the manager, we received them. On May 13, 2023, we received the reclinable sofa in L; after 2 weeks we noticed, the attachment between the units were broken, the wood base was broken, the control were broken, we called the store, talked to our sales rep (should be on their system), and she said they will send someone to check, they were supposed to call back, did not happen. Months pass by, I call again the store, asked for the manager, he ask me to send the pictures of the damages to a phone number and that they will contact me back, they never reach out again.
I call back again, now they have a new manager, I ask me again to send the pictures to a phone number, I do it again and nothing happens. Around 3 weeks ago I called again, requested a supervisor, I talked with Shanikua, she said I could either get a refund of $200 on a $1.200 piece or get service, I was not happy or agreed at all, but with the lack of option I asked to be transfer to the service since she said she could not process the service request, a machine said they were full and I would received a call back, did not happen. Called again Shanikua **, she did not pick up the phone, she sent someone to tell me since service did not call or took my call, she was going to take care of it, and call me back, in max 24h, did not happened, called her again today, 3.4.24, she did not answered the phone again, she said she offered options and I did not liked any of them and she can do any more. THIS IS THE WORST FURNITURE - SERVICE - COMPANY.

Long time customer, will NEVER again purchase from Ashley HomeStore! Quality of furniture has declined and customer service is deplorable. $6000 bedroom set delivered with a few drawers not functioning properly. Delivery person said it wasn't major enough to refuse, repairs would be made at my home. Over the past 6 months, I have engaged in 48 phone calls, texts, technicians, no shows, and deliveries. Yes, you read that right, I kept track of all 48 encounters. Never spoke to the same person twice, most of whom had no authority other than to read a script and promise to have a manager call back.
I spent numerous hours on the phone and took 5 different days off work to accommodate third party repair service (same technician came twice and now a drawer is unable to open at all), 2 days that Ashley said a tech would come but they never actually scheduled the appointment, as well as a day for replacement furniture delivery (which was damaged and refused). In the end, I reluctantly agreed to keep the furniture "as is" for a 30% refund on one piece of furniture. I was credited only 23%. After another call, I was credited only another 4%. Calling "Corporate" only guided me to the same Customer Service I have been dealing with. I'm done with Ashley HomeStore!

One had to stand up and push footstool shut from a standing position! They sent 3 trained service technicians out. None could address our issue! They deduced that it must be in the footstool control mechanism. They ordered a new one. Once changed nothing was any different. After more than 11 calls to the service department, they washed their hands of our issue! They abandoned me! I then investigated their issue! I found that between the 4 technicians, someone or more than one someone, had stripped 8 of the KEY ANCHOR BOLTS! I spent $19 at the local hardware, and invested 45 minutes of my time! I bought one of the premium king mattresses set (Ashley Sleep Anniversary Edition Mattress) from Ashley at the end of 2016 under the promise of a 10-year warranty. Well, after 5 years the mattress started to show deep lumps which started to cause me constant lower back pains and I claimed the warranty from Ashley and they sent a technician to see it, take photos and he even told me that the lumps were deeper than their acceptable maximum of 1" (some were from 2 to 3" deep). Well.... I just got an email today telling me that they will not cover anything by warranty and that there were "stains" which voided it. This is absolutely ridiculous! Now I have to invest on a new mattress and to throw away this piece of junk that Ashley Furniture sold me under the premise that any defects would be covered in what they refer to as "warranty". The only warranty you will get is that they will find a lame excuse to not honor it.

We purchased this product for 1900 in March of 2023 and took delivery in June or July. At first it was nice but the left side started to sag to the left along with the back around December. The right side became very loose like the frame was falling apart and the poor design of a tack at the back corner put a hole through my wall. We have had several recliners in this room and yes sometimes the sofa gets too close but never has anything done damage other than a smudge on the wall that washes off. It's the cheap construction that I blame for this.
I called to complain about the sofa in January and they told me the repair people would be in touch in 7-10 days. Never happened. They claimed they called and then said they had the wrong phone number when I sent a copy of my phone record showing they didn't call. My number is on the invoice which was sent to them as well. So 30 days had gone past without the call and corporate told me they have no control over their service company as it is another company. I explained life to them that it's your name on the product and that is ridiculous that you have no control. Five weeks later someone came to the house with every excuse in the book. Not sure what's going to happen next but I will let everyone I know to stay clear of this company.

Called the company warranty service which was for one year. The technician from Ashley determined that it is a fabric manufacturing issue and had suggested that I will receive the replacement seating parts in a month. He took note of the part numbers for replacement. Few weeks later Ashley Furniture called me to notify that they will NOT provide any replacement parts. It seems like a fraudulent business practice to lure customers with warranty service but indeed no coverage is provided. Basically, blaming me for the entire thing and charging me more money. So we had no choice we went back and picked out a new set costing me another 500 dollars not including the 10% fee. That night the sales manager says it will be there Tuesday, I call Monday and ask what time delivery is and they state we do not see a delivery for tomorrow. So at this point I have no idea what they did or if im getting the set. Original Review: I have purchased many items from Ashley's over the years, and the last couple of purchases have been horrible either with quality or service. My last purchase was with the Pineville NC store, the sofa was beige in the store, the salesman agreed it was beige as this is what we were looking for. When delivery came it was gray, I told the driver that I did not want to accept delivery as this is not what I ordered. He refused to take the sofa back. They said they would replace it, so they come back and it's the same color, so I told them to take it back and take the original one, they would only take the one. After about 7 calls telling me they are setting up the return, they tell me the day before I am to have another sofa delivered that they will not be taking it back and that I can exchange but it will cost me an extra 300 restocking fee..
They said I accepted the delivery which is not true as I stated the driver told me he would not take it and I would need to go to the store and speak with the manager, which I promptly did and was told to call customer service. This doesn't even get into when I purchased 12000 worth of furniture from them and had nothing but problems with the service, quality and furniture. Customer service is completely unhelpful, the team that made this decision didn't even call me and discuss the issue, they sent me an email. If you are looking for quality furniture with good service, head over a Rooms To Go. They have quality furniture, and excellent service. If I was not forced to use Ashley's to exchange, that is where I would be buying my furniture from.

Over the years we have spent over $20,000 at Ashley. Last weekend, I was told that they restaffed their management team, and all decisions are made at the corporate level. I was not pleased with their new marketing strategy. All I can see on the floor was bedroom sets, and couches, not much diversification. Our sales representative was great, but she was unable to give us a competitive offer because of her new manager and corporate of course. She said all decisions are made at through corporate. We are not her only regular customers that walked out of the store without purchasing. I no longer feel connected with the Ashley brand. The manager at the store made no attempt to hear us out even after checking their system and saw how how much money they made from us over a decade of purchases.
I have found several pieces of furniture that are similar on Amazon and at Home Depot at very competitive prices. I will be making purchases elsewhere. This is how a good company goes bad. It's not the sales person who is at fault, it's management. I would suggest that they conduct further market research and try to cater to more than one market segment. An organization can have a great marketing strategy that is ruined by corporate management.

The quality control department had pictures to prove of the gaping edge and the bubble, and they insisted that damage was caused by water. (I think there was a defect in the gluing of the veneer.!!!) We ordered a sectional couch, and were provided with the tracker for the day of delivery. They showed up 2 hours before their scheduled time, we were not ready. They drop off a couch and as we unpack we realize the one piece is broken, like it was dropped. We called immediately. Their solution was to order a new upholstery piece- which we had to wait 3-4 weeks to have delivered to out home. When it arrived, we called and arranged for them to pick up the piece that was broken and the piece to fix it. They were to have it for a week.
Ashley Furniture came to pick up the piece and scratched the paint off our less than year old door (which cost more than the couch). I immediately asked what they are going to do about the door they ruined- he took pictures and sent them in and said "don't worry, it'll be covered.." What a lie!! After almost 2 months, they came back and said the claim was denied as the driver said he does recollect this happening.. Why would he take picture? There is no changing their mind. James (manager) said it was the driver's word over ours, and they of course didn't side with us, their solution was for me to go through our insurance and that there was nothing they would do and there was no one else I could speak to to change their mind, so here I am, educating you about the shadiness that is Ashleys Furniture... We specifically asked if sinking of the seat cushions, rolling over of the cushion front and where the seat cushions meet, sinking of the attached back cushions, and sinking of the seat cushions were included in the extended warranty, and we were assured that all of our concerns were covered. All of our concerns started to happen approximately 1 yr after purchase! We contacted the company that the extended warranty was with, twice. On both occasions the representative was extremely rude, refused to give his name, and hung up on us. We then contacted the manager of the store where we had purchased the couches.
We were told that there was nothing that they could do for us. Even suggesting that we purchase new seat cushions from them, at our cost, or buy new foam and fix it ourselves. For the attached back cushions it was suggested that we purchase more filling and re-stuff them ourselves. My son and his wife paid about 2k cash for a leather sectional upon agreeing to purchase it from their Woodbridge store. The couch itself was about 1800 and 200 for the delivery. I was not present as they bought the sectional from the store. On the day of delivery, the delivery folks busted a ceiling fixture trying to bring the sectional to the second floor living room and decided that it would fit going in straight. My son and his wife kept suggesting to them that they should move the couch in vertically which would reduce the width of the sectional. The delivery folks with very limited English fluency kept refusing to do it the right way and eventually took upon themselves to take the sectional back accusing my son's family of refusing delivery. The whole event was a disaster to say the least.
The evening of failed delivery, we (my son, his wife and I) went back to the Woodbridge store where they had initially purchased the sectional and was promised a full refund including the 200 delivery charge. The salesperson kept apologizing for the delivery folks' mistake. We were told that he was given the ok to refund all the money including the delivery charge since Ashley Furniture has failed to fulfill their delivery obligation. I was given a receipt showing the refund of all charges and was told that a check would be in the mail in a few days. My kids did get the refund check via USPS mail a few days following the event. Except it was not for the full refund. Ashley furniture who failed to meet their obligation decide to keep the 200 for the delivery fee.
I was quite disgusted having to witness this deplorable dishonesty practice from Ashley Furniture. They lied through their teeth just to cheat consumers out of hard earned savings. My son has since given up working with their customer service department after many failed attempts to get them to rectify this mess. Of course they ended up cheating my kids out of 200. I would advice staying far away from this company if you are out shopping for furniture. I am not sure how they got many rave reviews on their website but those are fake reviews. But if you must patronize their business, do not pay with cash. Finally, I was offered a few times free delivery on all furniture just a few weeks prior to this whole event. So yeah they will steal to keep themselves in business. Stay away from Ashley Furniture.

I have tried relentlessly to get it replaced and they said it isn’t a manufacture problem!! Then what is causing the material to just peel off on its own!! The vanity cost me about 450$ plus I paid 65$ for them to bring it to my home and set it up.. Please think about it really hard before you buy any furniture made and sold by ASHLEY…They have refused to replace or refund my money.. What a SCAM!!!

First experience shopping at Ashley 8 yrs ago for a couch was good, but after purchasing a mattress the company showed very poor customer care!! First, all sales are final! They do not tell you that! They have you sign the sale on a tablet and give you the paperwork in a folder when sale is over. Page 3 says sales are final! Now get a a Sealy mattress that says in 30 days and Ashley says no returns! Even on defective! Calls, in store visits, serv techs to evaluate the damage and then they make up rules saying it’s not sagging enough! Over an inch in a month says it’s not holding up!
They also do not send proof of written policies. I filed a complaint with BBB. They won’t do an exchange, won’t pick up or return! Read the other reviews, there are more negative and low scores than good. Learn from us.. Don’t buy! Last, Sealy won’t even honor a warranty because I bought from a retailer! I have excellent credit therefore I’m fighting paying the bill! Probably won’t pay and will continue to share the awful experience with Ashley! I am writing this review with immense disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience with Ashley Furniture Store. My husband and I purchased a complete bedroom set December 28th 2023, investing a significant amount of money, only to receive a shipment where every single piece was broken or damaged. They also claim they cannot come out and look at it until March 2024 so we are left sleeping with a broken bedroom set and bed for 3 months.
The lack of quality control and care in packaging was astonishing. It is utterly unacceptable that a reputed furniture store would send out such subpar products to paying customers. The items arrived in such a deplorable condition that it raises serious questions about the company's commitment to customer satisfaction and product integrity.
What compounds the issue further is the complete lack of assistance or willingness to rectify the situation. Despite numerous attempts to contact customer service, we have been met with indifference and unhelpful responses. It is disheartening to see a company prioritize sales over customer support, especially when dealing with such substantial purchases.
Ashley Furniture Store has left us with a broken bedroom set, a sense of regret for choosing them, and a significant dent in our budget. This experience has not only been financially burdensome but emotionally draining as well. I strongly advise potential customers to reconsider before making any purchases from Ashley Furniture Store. It is disconcerting to spend hard-earned money on a brand that fails to uphold even the most basic standards of quality and customer service. Our hope is that this review serves as a warning to others who may be contemplating buying from Ashley Furniture Store, and that the company takes immediate steps to address these issues.

In the past 2 years or so. My wife and I have shopped at Ashley twice. The first time we bought a sofa that has held up well. Although it's been in a house that has been empty for 8 months out of the 2 years. The other things we bought were another couch. 2 chairs, one and electric. Share for disabled people that helps me get out from a sitting position and is now broken and another chair that has stood up for the entire of time. Besides the lack of quality Of the furniture we have purchased the customer service has been abysmal. First let's speak about the quality of one of the sofas we bought pegood. I will be the first to admit that I did not do diligence sufficiently. When we bought it. When we got it home I sat down on the arm of the Sofa and felt a crinkle. Inspection revealed that it was made out of cardboard not soliD Cardboard, not even supported cardboard, but just rolled over cardboard with stapled.
We bought another sofa from using the store credit. We got from our return and what this brown sofa whose arms were sturdy. However, the legs were falling off when we received it delivered from the store. The driver said he would fix it. He did something to try to fix it, but the Bolts that were used to attach the legs were bent. The quality of workmanship of this was horrid. We called Ashley and it took three Weeks for them to come out and fix it again or them to get someone out to fix it again. This time, they broke the back legs instead of the front ones and we had to continue using blocks of 4 by 400 for another 2 and a 1/2 months. They finally returned with a person who actually knew what the problem was, and he took out all the old legs with bent bolts and put in new ones and this. Fixed that problem. It was interesting to find that the legs were made out of pressed wood. Not even real wood.
The next problem we had was with the electric easy chair for disabled people that lifts up and allows me, since I am disabled, to. Have an easier time standing up out of the chair. After A few months, the foot rest started to bend over to the left and continue to do so until it's now at a 30° angle. Made with cheap Chinese steel that is of 0 quality. We have called Ashley multiple times and they have yet to return our calls, nor have they sent anybody out. To fix the chair. Last day I'd like to speak to of customer service. There is no customer service. They are arrogant, rude, ignorant and unhelpful. At the very best. I will never, ever shop at Ashley again and it was mistake to make. .Just remember you get what you pay for.

On 03/20/2022 my wife and I purchased a 4-piece power recliner Sales Order# ** along with a $469.99 5 Year Protection Plan from the Ashley Home Store in Draper Utah. We noticed once it was delivered the right-hand side power section was way offset in the back and that side made a rubbing noise while you powered it up or down. We called the store, and they sent out a different installer who said it probably wasn't set up right and proceeded to try to push it down into an aligned position to match the left-hand side. There was still a sizable gap difference on the back, and it still made the rubbing noise, however it was slightly better.
It has never worked quietly as the left-hand side and now that side looks like the attachment bracket has broken and caused the back side nto fall down and leather to tear. The motor still operates but it's still noisy causing more damage to the back side. Please see my attached photos. We called the company that Ashley sold us the Service Contract through, and they sent out a technician. He said he can't do anything at this point and thinks it was either installed incorrectly and forced down into the bracket that attaches the sections causing it to fail or it was just defective from the beginning and should have been taken back to the store for replacement.
Hopefully we can get a new section delivered since I feel this section was never correctly installed and/or manufactured wrong from the day it was delivered. My wife and I are 65 years old and don't have children or dogs that would cause any extra abuse to that section. Since the other side has always looked and worked fine, I feel it is truly a defect in production.

You have to package all online items in the original packaging, take it to a FedEx location yourself and pay all shipping costs. They will only accept from FedEx.
Shipping costs was nearly $100 since it is 38.5 inches in diameter and 30 lbs. This is extremely frustrating. Even Walmart will take someone back at any Walmart that was bought online, even grocery only stores. Ashley needs to really pay attention to their feedback. I purchased two sofas, in April 2021, from Ashley Furniture (Johnstown, PA), towards the end of the COVID Pandemic. My furniture delivery date was August 28, 2021. This Ashley Home Store is owned by Wellsville Group, one of the shell companies owned by Todd Wanek, CEO of Ashley Furniture Industries. The Wellsville Group side of the contract was to deliver New, Good Quality Furniture with a One Year Manufacturer Warranty, and an Extended Warranty. I purchased the extended warranty to protect my furniture investment for years to come.
The Extended Warranty refused and blamed the Manufacturer. That is not what was sold to me! I was told at the time of purchase that I would be covered if anything happened to my furniture. I had one sofa Repaired, January 25, 2022. Decking under the seat falling apart, staples coming out and the right side (facing) collapsed. I Contacted Ashley headquarters, and they did cover repairs under 5 star service, Manufacturer warranty.
Then, December 2022 the Manufacturer Warranty refused to repair my Second Sofa. They only wanted to repair one, when BOTH sofas have the same issue. I called and noted the damage had reoccurred in the sofa they already repaired, so they did not properly fix it. The second sofa, exactly the same thing. This is poor quality manufacturing and inability to repair the damage. The signed contract is not one or the other. The contract covers both!! I would expect that they would have repaired both sofas, since they both had the same exact issue. I am demanding a full refund of my money, and the picking up of the garbage furniture.

Yesterday came and we woke up, got rid of our old bed, and prepared the room for the new bed. The delivery truck arrived with only our bed. Issue #1, but not such an issue that it bothered me. The gentleman putting the bed together asked to speak to my husband only to inform him the bed frame was up, the foundation was put together, but the bed was missing the slats (they were supposed to come in the box). He told him he had reached out to his manager already and for us to call the customer service line in an hour. So that's exactly what we did.
When we called, we were told the parts were ordered but it would take 3 weeks to get here. 3 WEEKS!! Mind you, we have gotten rid of our bed to make room for this one. 6 phone calls were placed to customer service with no resolution to the problem other than "wait 3 weeks". My husband is a disabled vet. He has recently had back surgery. He can't stoop, bend, or squat. He can't get down to the floor which is where we now have to sleep for the next 3 weeks. Ashley Furniture is apparently two different companies: online and brick-and-mortar, though both sell the same furniture. This is a Dr. Jekyll and Mister Hyde pair of operations. I rate their customer service minus five for online and plus five for brick-and-mortar, on a scale of one to five. Moving into new for us house, I wanted to buy a bedroom set.
On November 16, I went on Wayfair and found the set I liked, and found that the identical set was listed under three different names while the pictures were identical, with three different prices. I noticed on one of the pictures the word Ashley, so I looked on https://www.ashleyfurniture.com/, finding the identical set for several percent less. I ordered the set I liked, but as the matching bedside tables were out of stock, I drove to their brick-and-mortar store a few miles away. There I bought two matching bedside tables and picked them up at a giant warehouse later that day.
The delivery of the set I ordered online was scheduled for December 14. When there was no delivery that day, I called the 800 number, where I was told that they had emailed me that the order had been canceled and were indignant that I was unaware of this, that they had emailed me on December 11. I went to my spam file and located that email, which I had not seen. I called their “customer service” line and told them to uncancel it and deliver the furniture, to be told that there was no record of the order. I supplied the order number, and they said it could not be uncanceled, that I would have to initiate an entirely new order, with a delivery window of two to three weeks. They were unhelpful, blaming me for not checking my spam file.
I asked for a supervisor whose native tongue was English and not Tagalog, and from the supervisor got the same result. So I drove to the physical store again and ordered the furniture. They promised delivery in six days. Their sales staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I should have gone there instead of ordering online. The online company (https://www.ashleyfurniture.com/) is a hot mess. Rating their customer service on a scale of one to five, I would rate them minus five. Poor staff, poor communications, intransigent people in customer service. The brick-and-mortar store in Clearwater was the exact opposite. They arranged delivery in six days and the sales rep there was pleasant and understanding. Rating their customer service on a scale of one to five, I would rate them five. I have bought Ashley furniture before, and was pleased, but the bungling clowns in their online company should be fired.

After 2 weeks of waiting to hear back I called again and this is what I learned: They will replace the core foam one time under the manufacturer's warranty, if the foam breaks down again the extended warranty kicks in and they will replace it again but no further replacements are allowed for the remaining life of the couch, extended warranty or not.
I questioned that if the seats break down every 6 months I would need at least 10 replacements in a five year period!! This is when Remmeet from Winnipeg Service Dept. explained that wouldn't happen because the replacement core foam under the extended warranty is higher density. I stated that if we have established the standard foam is of poor quality, that it breaks down after a short time surely they would replace it with better quality, no? Remmeet said she can replace for higher density foam under the extended warranty now but I will not be able to get any more replacements ever. Third, Ashley in South Florida is City Furniture and the customer service quality was terrible with argumentative people who treated me as if I were a liar when their own delivery staff told them about the damage. I had to fight them to finally delivered a table that, while still damaged, I can at least work with by using decorative placemats to hide the almost 20-inch scuff and other small damages to the wood which the manufacturer applied finishing to. Product was delivered to the outside of the house (other companies deliver into the house). We would have paid the extra fee had we known, but nobody told us delivery did not include bringing it into the house. The product came wrapped and we kept it in the original wrapping as we were doing some drywall repair/painting. I took off the original wrapping 4 days later and found three tears. I e-mailed the next day, never heard anything back. Two days later sent an online complaint, got an e-mail saying, “too bad you reported the damage in 4 days but you only have two days to report”.
I called customer service and the store manager. They were not willing to repair (wanted us to pay $300 for materials to repair the brand new sofa we bought from them), not willing to replace or even offer a discount. The material (supposed to be a leather sofa) is thin and such poor quality at the area or the tear. When I was appalled by the poor customer service and that we paid a lot of money for damaged furniture and they took no responsibility, I wanted to cancel the rest of the furniture that we didn’t get yet but they told us they would charge a 10% restocking fee. I have never had such bad customer service before. I will never purchase from this company again.

I selected the Maggie sofa and loveseat because the salesperson said it would be good with dogs. Just one day after delivery, the dog jumped on the sofa arm and ripped it apart. His nails were not even that long and that is what the groomer also told me when I took him in immediately after it happened. The loveseat also has a small tear in the bottom corner, and I am afraid it could spread. I didn't notice how it happened, but it was either delivered that way or tore after just one week of wear and tear. The upholstery may have been pulled too tight. The material is very thin and cheap and worse than any upholstered furniture I have ever owned. I do not recommend buying from this seller.

The first issue arose when the delivery time was quoted as 6 weeks but it took 4 months and many phone calls to arrive. When I sat on the couch for the first time it made a loud scraping noise so I had a repair man from Ashley come out and fix it. Then I noticed that there was such minimal padding on the arms of the couch that it felt more like I was leaning on a 2x4 piece of wood. Unfortunately, no one in my home used the couch for a full year because it was so uncomfortable. Now I’m noticing that there is no padding anywhere other than the cushions on the couch.
My grandson almost got a concussion when he laid down and went to lay his head on the arm of the couch. For the high cost I paid for this couch I’ve never been more disappointed in a company that started out great and has just gone downhill. To think that they would believe it’s ok to sell a sub-standard product and think they’ve fooled a customer is just plain corrupt. They lost my business for good and I’ve been spreading the word. It’s their loss.

I recently purchased furniture at Ashley Homestore in Brooklyn, NY on Sept 24, 2023. However, the Corporate Location is: Factory Direct dba Ashley Homestore in Edison, NJ. I did not buy New, Good Quality, Unbroken Furniture, so you can deliver some used or B Goods! Within a couple days of delivery, the furniture was horrible. We really hadn’t used it yet. The material on this furniture is pilling. Pilling is susceptible to pilling over time, but not within a day or two. Also there seems to be feathers poking through the fabric. The furniture looks like it was years old already.
I live about an hour away from the store so we called and basically get, "Too Bad, So Sad" and just shave it. Really, we buy new furniture and within a day or two feathers are poking through and fabric is pilling so it has to be shaved from day one and every other day. Really? First off the type of material used shouldn’t be pilling maybe for years. I don’t know if you sent me some recycled, used or someone else’s rejected furniture or it’s just poor quality manufacturing. Either way, it’s your problem. However, you’re hoping to pass it on to me. That won’t fly anymore. Your "Too Bad, So Sad" mentality will not work.
Todd and Eugene you know this is wrong. I’m not the first customer to file complaints and I’m sure I won’t be the last. There are literally Thousands and Thousands of complaints about Ashley Running such Bait and Switch Scams and using Fraudulent Business Practices to Victimize the Consumers. It's been 3 times that they come here and leave everything in a mess and not setting up nothing just making up a lot of excuses. SWINDLED, SCAMMED, FRAUDED, CHEATED and LIED TOO! I went to Ashley Furniture in 10/20/23 against my husband's advice, because he warned me they would "Screw me over". I went there to buy a SOFA, only a SOFA, to replace the Party time Sofa we once had, which was recalled and Ashley Furniture also refused to replace. Unfortunately on this day I was victimized by a true Snake of a Salesman Josh **.
I decided on the Backtrack Dual powered Sofa, he then offered me a great deal to also purchase the recliner. Mind you I didn't see the proverbial knife pointed at my back at that moment. We agreed on a price, he actually SHOOK my hand and smiled at me, with what I thought was genuine customer service, at that moment. Little didn't know this is where his ethics got thrown out the door. We went to the sales counter, he handed me the paperwork pointing to where I needed to sign his copies. To my neglect, I trusted him, mistake #1.
On 10/25 the order arrived at my house, when the delivery people began to unbox, I noticed it was a love seat, NOT the sofa. The delivery people said, "Oh no problem, just sign here that this has been delivered, then call this number and they will get it exchanged for you. 1-866-787-seven move three zero." Mistake #2. So I called the number and they stated the Store would have to correct it. I found my paperwork and saw that it said a LOVE SEAT not a Sofa. (KNIFE IN THE BACK ENTERED) I then called Josh immediately and ask why he had entered a loveseat, being that I NEVER was interested in a love seat, I had never looked at a loveseat nor did I inquire about a love seat. He then told me he would submit an email to get it corrected. Needless to say I never heard from him again.
After countless calls to the store, and speaking to the GM Solomon **, I was told, sorry all sales are final and there is no return policy, and that he had to support his salesmen. UNBELIEVABLE. What I have learned from this is JOSH **, consciously, knowingly, and willingly sold me a sofa and recliner, but intentionally entered a loveseat into the system knowing I wouldn't check his work because I had already thanked him for restoring my faith in Ashley furniture. MISTAKE #3. My advice to you is stay clear of this Ashley store and especially stay clear of the salesman Josh ** who’s actions proved he is unethical and fraudulent in his sales tactics. We are now stuck with an uncomfortable love seat that we never considered, nor wanted.

The rest of the staff behaved like used car salesmen: once they knew they were not getting a commission they didn't want to look at me. Arrangements were made to pick everything up the following evening. However Patrick was not in and the other salesmen told me we would have to schedule another day. I had to call our sales guy on his cell.
When we showed up the staff was watching a basketball game and one salesman drew the short straw and had to open the back door for us. He literally would do no more. When asked for a piece of cardboard to put between furniture he said there was none. He was clearly upset he was missing the game. His name was Pat. I checked with the sales while booking my In Store Order on 11/11/2023, they told me that they will be delivering my furniture by 19th, As I am moving from my current location to another location, I told them It's ok if they can deliver it by 24th as well ..as I planned my move accordingly. Now when I called them to check the status on delivery they said dining table has not arrived and will be arriving shortly So I requested them If they can deliver it by 24th. They said I can pick up from store on Saturday which is one day later or Tuesday which is of course days after my movement.
I checked with them. They said they have 2 weeks delivery window and If this is the case I should have called them a week before, I said how do I know that delivery is getting delayed. They said they can't help and If I want delivery to my new address they will be charging $800, Now I have to travel almost 2.5 hrs (One Way) to pickup the delivery from old address which will definitely cost me more than $200, and I can't cancel my order as they said all sales are final. I mean I don't like the way they handled customer concerns and definitely I will not do any business with such company in future and I will suggests my family and friends as well not to trust Ashley's sales person's words. WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE. I wished I had checked out all the reviews here before deciding to give Ashley's a try. The show room is shiny. The salespeople are friendly. BUT all this is to hide a bait and switch, used car sales model. I purchased a couch. The one that arrived looked like the one I tried out in the showroom but it was higher. So much so that my feet were dangling - which they weren't with the showroom model. I went back and asked if I can pay for delivery and a restocking fee to recover some of my cost. Or for store credit. The sofa they delivered was not the same as the sofa they had in the showroom. The very nice sales person said they would get in trouble if they tried to help me. So I asked for the manager.
The manager came out ready to battle. No apologies for the problem. Straight out - no return or exchanges. No exception. Stone-faced enforcer. Unlike the sales pitch - there was no smile, no friendly chatter. They're done with you when you sign the contract and pay them. You don't matter anymore. Here's the real problem I have with Ashley's. Their company policy is ALL SALES ARE FINAL. BUT they never alerted me to this strict and atypical policy. The salesperson never mentioned it. You had to read two pages of tiny print to see it and it's buried in the middle of other less relevant issues.
The manager said they have signs everywhere in the store. I didn't notice them. I asked where they were. When she pointed them out, they were 8.5X11 printed sheets. In bold was "RETURN AND CANCELLATION POLICY" and in tiny font below they stated the no return policy. No one in the store pointed out the fine print to me - either in the contract or in the sign. They just want the sale and be done with you. I will never go back. I would never recommend Ashley's to anyone. It's not just their strict policy. It's the underhanded way they intentionally do not alert you to the ALL SALES ARE FINAL policy yet cover themselves but making a statement in fine print. If you were going to a fire sale, the signs are usually HUGE "ALL SALES ARE FINAL".
They intentionally do not want to alert the buyer to this policy. So that you buy and then they wash their hands off you. It's a shady - fly by night approach to doing business. Not worth it. You can buy similar furniture for same or better pricing on Wayfair or Amazon and you can return furniture you're not satisfied with. Wayfair and Amazon are at least transparent and care about their customers. Ashley is neither.

I bought 3 pictures in store. The manager gave special pricing as 1 of 3 paintings was a mismatch. 2 weeks later I hung the photos, though I thought initially they may be too big. Today, I noticed from an angle something was all over 2 of the 3 paintings. Upon further investigation, I found mould spores on the pictures, quite a lot. I spoke to the manager who insisted he could do nothing as it was special pricing and they are as is. He claims to know nothing about this and says nothing can be done. He tried to imply that because I told a rep from another purchase made last week that the pictures were too big and a return wasn't possible.
The pictures actually look great on the wall. What is not ok, is that Ashley Furniture sold these to me regardless if they were 'as is' in store. This is a health and safety issue, not only in my home, but also to the entire store and all merchandise that sits in it. The manager basically blew me off. I asked to speak to the owner, and only given a first name. I am not impressed.

As a loyal customer, I have made several major past purchases at Ashley Furniture prior to my last and final purchase of a bed and bedroom set on 10/09/23 at Ashley's on S. 27th St in Greenfield. My sales associate, ** was friendly and helpful. I bought a complete bed and bedroom set for $2637.61. I was told my furniture would be delivered on Monday 10/16. On Monday 10/16, the only items delivered was a mattress, box spring, and a Bed in a Bag combo. The rest of my order wasn't loaded on the truck for an unknown reason and would be delivered Friday 10/20. I texted ** of the issue and my frustration.
On Friday 10/20 when my bedroom furniture was being unloaded from the truck, I was told that some damage had occurred. I saw the headboard had been broken. I don't know it that was due to the cheap particle board material it was made from, or the carelessness of the third party delivery team. I was told by an Ashley's employee on the phone that I could accept the delivery and hopefully, Ashley's would find a replacement headboard. With bedroom furniture being clearance items, I did not accept the furniture and refused the order. I texted ** of the issue and my disappointment. Strike One.
On Saturday 10/21, I texted ** that I was very upset and wanted a refund. ** was apologetic and said she would forward my request for a refund to her manager, **. On Sunday 10/22, I received a phone call from store manager, **. I told her I was frustrated and disappointed with Ashley's delivery and quality of the broken furniture and requested a full refund of $2637.61. I told her that I liked the mattress and box spring and I would keep it for a discount. She offered me a $100 discount on a bed that cannot be resold. I declined the pitiful and less then generous offer. She told me unapologetically that I would be charged a $200 restocking fee. I told her she was crazy since there was nothing delivered to me that needed to be restocked. I also explained that if Ashley Furniture had delivered all my bedroom furniture undamaged on Monday, 10/16, as promised, there would not be this issue.
On Monday 10/23, I went to Ashley's. I spoke to ** in person and asked her how this issue was going to be resolved. She told me I would receive a full refund after Ashley's picked up the used mattress, used box spring, and used bedding on Friday 10/27. Store manager, ** made no apologies to me; no offer to me of keeping the used bedding; no offer to me of a store credit or store gift cards to compensate me for my stress and frustration. She had no interest in keeping me as a repeat, loyal customer. ** had zero interest in customer service / satisfaction. Her managerial behavior, in my opinion, was severely unprofessional. Strike Two.
On Friday 10/27, Ashley delivery picked up the used mattress, box spring and bedding. On Saturday 10/28 I texted ** that everything had been picked up. I asked her to speak to manager ** as to when I could expect the full refund of $2637.61. ** texted me within 5 business days. On Monday, 10/30, I received a partial refund to my credit card of $2468.86, which is $168.75 than I paid for this purchase. How and why ** came up with this different price is unknown to me. I texted ** about the missing $168.75. ** again told me it is in their system and I should see the refund by this Friday. So now, additional stress waiting for the $168.75. I never got a call from ** explaining the $168.75 difference. I am guessing she is too gutless and still doesn't care about customer service / satisfaction. After several texts to**. I finally got my $168.75 credit ... 2 weeks late. Strike Three.
I went to Steinhafels Furniture and bought a quality bedroom set. I will never shop at Ashley Furniture again thanks to store manager ** and her awful attitude about loyal, repeat customers. Bravo **!

534 N Frederick Ave, Gaithersburg, MD20877 Ashley Furniture Store. I had purchased a Jaurao bedroom collection from them. On the delivery day their delivery team damaged my property by making such a big hole on my wall by dropping the chest which also broke one drawer of the chest. Then they damaged my dresser and the bed by drilling extra holes in it to assemble it which caused the nails to be out only. Then I received a damaged nightstand and a defective bed, as it has big gaps in the front and headboard sides in which my infant actually fell also. I called the store the same day informing them of all the issues but they said they can’t do anything and gave me their cooperate office number who asked me to email them all the issues with pictures and asked for 7 to 10 business days. So I actually informed them of all the issues within the 72 hour window.
In the meantime they denied my property damage claim and said, "We will not do anything." Then after 10 days when I contacted them regarding the damage/defective furniture they gave me their service department number who’s representative misbehaved with me when I told her that my son fell in the bed gaps and got hurt also. Then the service department said that "We will not do anything" and that we have to keep the furniture as it is. What bothers me is their “I don’t care” attitude towards my infant getting hurt. I have never witnessed such a behavior and was not expecting from such a big furniture store to have such a no care attitude towards my infant's safety.
I am really concerned about my infant's safety and writing in this forum to have a written proof that if by chance my infant gets hurt due to the nails that are coming out of the bed or if he falls in the bed gap then only Ashley Furniture store from where I bought the furniture will be responsible. I have all the call logs and emails conversations that I had with them within 72 hrs of delivery. I have to put pillows to cover the bed gap as it’s a manufacture defect.

I bought a kitchen table and 9 chairs. 7 out of 9 chairs were defective and the table had dings. I returned the items as they were defective and I had lost faith in the quality/service of Ashley. They did NOT refund all my money. They still charged a restocking fee even though the furniture was defective. I will never recommend Ashely and anyone who asks I will make sure to share my story and tell them to STAY AWAY - quality is NOT found at Ashley, nor customer service.

If you want helpful, honest opinion go see Tony at Janesville store. No pressure just answered questions and listened. I'm not a big spender by any means and very critical when buying but Tony made it easy and really worked his butt off to get us a good deal on a very high-end brand. We actually left store to shop a couple more places and Tony continued to pull strings to get it in our budget after the fact. We will stop there first the next time we look for any home furnishings.

I was given a replacement recliner 13 months ago after a long battle with warranty dept. The recliner I have now is falling apart. I tried to review on the Ashley website and because it was negative they said they had my review already which is a blatant lie. Called Wayfair where I made the original purchase and was told nothing they can do. Ashley is nothing but hype, you're better off at Bob's discount furniture if I want inferior products.

We ordered new couches. It came dirty and didn’t come wrapped properly, I complained and asked for new couches or at least a discount for the flawed pieces. However, they said that they would clean it instead and they only did that, not pleasing any of my requests. I don’t want the flawed couches and if I were to keep them I ask for a reduced price refund. This was an expensive purchase and did not live up to the expectation at all. I want a change of price or to change the couches to new ones.

I purchased a sofa and love seat from the store. The loveseat arrived dirty. The delivery guy said to call customer service and they will send someone to clean it and if it is still dirty they will Replace it. He took pictures of it. We called and after submitting other pictures a time was scheduled for cleaning. After it was cleaned some of the dirts were still there. I forgot to mention that there was a damage at the back. We called customer service and they wanted to repair it saying it is their policy. They will replace the fabric on the arm. We have been trying to speak to a manager for over 2 weeks now and all we get is lie after another and no manager. The problem is not solved and there is a big possibility of taking them to court. We paid over 1200 for a damaged piece and we do not want a refurbished furniture. They misrepresented, lied and they are a big fraud.

Bought Bed, damaged from what appears to be retaped box. Notified them within an hour of pickup, said they would repair. Asked for replacement, told since I did not purchase delivery no replacement. Needed earlier and delivery was outside window. If I would have purchased the premium delivery they would replace. I paid the same for the furniture that anyone would have. Store no help, no service after sale except schedule repair one and a half months out. Basically, you have to pay extra for any real service or help from store. $1300 wasted. Do yourself a favor, pay a little more and buy from someone else. I have filed with BBB and my state's Attorney General to look into the practice of no warranty replacement unless you spend extra for delivery. Seems like a way to generate extra money for company.

I purchased furniture including dining table and chairs from Ashley Furniture. The salesman seems forcing to buy protection plan mentioning it would take care of any damages for a good period, pet damages, kids and all. It's been just over 1 yr, all the chairs of the dining table are shaking and coming loose. It's a big hazard to elderly people coming home for dinner. I called protection plan complaining about it and she said it's not covered because the chars did not break. Now, someone has to get hurt and break his back before anyone from Ashley will come fix it. Also, on other things, they are asking me to investigate if it is material, spring or what caused it. If all legs are coming loose, there has to be a systemic issue with the way it was assembled or a design issue, however this all PROTECTION PLAN IS A BIG SCAM.. Watch Out. I'll keep reporting this issues to help others.

One of the worst experiences I've had. The salesmen and everyone in store are great, but after we ordered it has been a nightmare. First off we chose Ashley furniture because we didn't want this headache. We spent near $10,000 and on a pair of couches, a sectional for the basement and 2 mattresses with bed frames. Fast forward 2 weeks and the couches, along with one mattress is being delivered. The other mattress ended up being on backorder which we were informed a few days before the delivery date. The 2 couches in the living room were easily delivered along with the full size mattress, then the sectional (which I measured the hallway several times before ordering and knew it would fit) comes and they get everything but the corner piece into the room. They were trying to fit it through with the curve against the wall, damaging the sheetrock several times, all they had to do was turn it around.
They tell me it needs to be taken apart and I talk to their supervisor about them bringing it back to the warehouse and having their team remove the back of it so it would fit. Fine, $180 charge, agreed they left. I go into the backyard and see the piece sitting out there with it going to rain that night. I call my brother. He drives an hour and took us about 3 minutes to get it into the room that it didn't fit. A few days later the bedframes arrive in boxes that looked like they were having a throwing competition with. What do you know, both bedframes are damaged and the one is missing a leg. A week later the final mattress arrives, great. They come rolled up vacuum sealed so I have them leave it in the living room while my new bedframe from RAYMOUR AND FLANIGAN is being setup. A few hours later we move the mattress up and open it, SURPRISE, it's the cheapest $800 mattress that they sell.
We spent over $2000 on the mattress we ordered, now we have the replacement mattress being shipped after waiting another 3 weeks. I called to ask about the cheap mattress that is here and told them that I wanted a supervisor here when they remove it because now the house it fully furnished and they will be bringing it past 2 TVs, and the lady at the warehouse got an attitude with me about how their movers are professional, and it won't be a problem. In the next sentence she asked me if I had rope to tie the mattress in half for them. I'm sure this will go great tomorrow. Conclusion, Ashley Furniture is not a great company anymore and I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Our experience at Ashley's was horrible. My mother is blind. She went to Ashley's to buy bunk beds for my children, her grandchildren, for her home. She specifically told the saleswoman, Patricia, that she wanted a bed where the ladder wasn't blocked by the top bunk railing. They completed the transaction, and scheduled delivery and assembly. Once assembly was complete, my mom discovered that the ladder was blocked by the railing, making it unsafe for small children due to having to climb over the railing. Patricia ordered the wrong bed.
My mother called the Oxnard CA store and spoke with the manager Abraham who basically blamed my BLIND mother for leaving the store with the receipt that listed the wrong bed, because she should have caught the error. He also informed her that the sale is final. He didn't even take into account that because she's blind, she can't see the receipt, and has to trust the salesperson to do their job.
My mother then called the corporate office and was passed around, no names were given. The line auto disconnected after 23 minutes of trying to get to the right person to help. To add insult to injury, Patricia charged my mother a $149.99 for 5 year furniture warranty, which my mother never wanted, wasn't asked if she wanted and she never approved. Patrica took it upon herself to add this unnecessary, expensive warranty all on her own to my mother's order. My elderly, blind mother was taken advantage by this saleswoman, and the store/company.
I had a great experience with the store in Torrance, so I referred my mother to Ashley's. I feel very guilty that I recommended somewhere that has caused so much trouble and anxiety for her. I will never recommend this company again, and shame on them for their atrocious customer "care". As it stands, we are stuck with an unsafe bed that can't be used, that we were overcharged for.

I have recently made two purchases from Ashley On-Line each over $1,000. I received a damaged side rail for the bed I ordered and wanted it replaced as I felt the damage was excessive since a chunk of wood was missing out of the bottom and paint had been scraped off on the top. I spent almost two hours total with a rep named Joanna and another one named Megha. It was a horrible experience for something that should have taken 15 minutes to resolve, taking approximately two hours, and never was resolved to my satisfaction. These orders were my third and fourth purchases from Ashley over several years and I will not be buying from them again.
I have never been so frustrated telling someone over and over and over that, I wanted something replaced that I ended up throwing in the towel because of frustration with the responses AND TOOK A DISCOUNT WHICH ALSO VOIDED THE WARRANTY ON THE FURNITURE for something I just wanted replaced. I was informed that they would send me a new bed after they had received a receipt of my donation to charity for the bed I had. Where was I to sleep between all this? They basically forced me to accept a worthless discount and warranty void.

Title: Terrible Experience with Ashley Store in Avon City, MA. I must say that my experience with Ashley store in Avon City, Massachusetts has been nothing short of a nightmare. Two months ago, I made a significant purchase from this store, which included a couch and a coffee table that I was really looking forward to having in my home. However, the excitement quickly turned to disappointment. The couch that was delivered to me was not just damaged; it was ripped, and the quality of the item was abysmal. It's beyond me how Ashley store could allow such a shoddy product to leave their warehouse in the first place. But, it gets worse – trying to rectify the situation has been an absolute ordeal.
I've been trying to communicate with their customer service in this store as well as with the store manager for two months now, and I've made countless calls and sent numerous emails. Yet, the response from Ashley has been utterly inadequate. It's as if they don't care about their customers or the quality of their products. Their lack of urgency and responsibility is infuriating. I understand that issues can arise from time to time, but the complete lack of effort on their part to rectify this situation is inexcusable. I paid hard-earned money for a product that was supposed to enhance my living space, and all I have to show for it is a ripped couch and endless frustration. In addition, they sent me a wrong coffee table, similarly no action so far has been taken to replace it.
My advice to anyone considering shopping at Ashley store in Avon City, MA is to think twice. If something goes wrong with your purchase, don't expect any help or resolution from their customer service. This has been a disheartening and infuriating experience, and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. I hope this review serves as a warning for others and that Ashley takes a long, hard look at their customer service and quality control processes. They need to do better, much better.

Nobody seems to know when it might be, I was told it was back ordered, Ashley Furniture has clearly gone downhill especially with customer service. Just look at the customer ratings. I wish I had before I ordered from here. Now I paid for a table and have no idea when I might get it. Company is coming in a couple of days and now I have to figure out how to serve them. This is ridiculous. Wayfair, Macy’s, Penny‘s, Amazon- I’ve ordered furniture from all of these places and they were delivered when I was told they were going to be. No matter the condition of the furniture, you will not be able to return your items. You will ONLY be able to exchange the item. I bought a bedroom suite, and the dresser broke during transit. I inspected the dresser more closely, and the quality is poor. I asked for a refund. I was told it is not their company's policy, which is listed on the back of my paperwork. Whatever is purchased in store, cannot be refunded after you sign the paperwork. Do NOT purchase from Ashley Furniture Store. My purchase was made in Harrisonburg, VA.

4 years ago we bought a 6 piece dining table set with a 5 year warranty. It was the most expensive set in the whole store at the time and has done nothing but disappoint. While reading this please keep in mind that this table is not an everyday use piece of furniture. We use it about once a month on special occasions. I will admit it does look appealing but that does not cover for the fact that in the first few days we have already had to contact the store about the chairs and the result of that was us having to get things to fix it with our own money. Not long after that the polishing on the table has started to completely come off. The lamination on the sides and on the bottom started separating.
In the middle the table is able to be extended, but the mechanism in it has broken after our second time extending it. All the chairs except one sink is way too much and are very squeaky. 4 weeks ago I have contacted customer support and ever since have just been fighting about every issue I just listed. I do not understand why I have to keep fighting with Ashley about things I do have a warranty for. I want people to read this and take in mind everything I just said. I will NEVER recommend Ashley to anyone I know. We have way better furniture from cheaper and way higher quality places with.

My spouse and I made a large purchase in ASHLEY FURNITURE Martin Luther King Blvd in Las Vegas NV, today for a move into a new home at the end of the month not before the 23rd in October. Today is the 14th of October. We completed our purchase, and assured that the entertainment center we purchased was available in the warehouse behind the store on Martin L King Blvd in Las Vegas. As we were preparing to leave the store we were approached by the salesperson apologizing because she found out that one of the items is a direct ship coming to our new home which does not close until the 23rd of October. Were told that the shipment would arrive at our new unoccupied resident between the 18th and the end of the month. Since no one lives in the house this was unacceptable. We were told the item would be delivered from the warehouse behind the store and be set up.
I attempted to find out if we could change the dates. I was told this could not happen as it was coming from their direct ship warehouse. I could not even get their name to try and get the item rescheduled and stopped. I then requested the Manager to discuss the matter, she stated that due to it being a direct ship they could not cancel the shipment, and due to company policy could not cancel or refund the the credit card transaction. Their only suggestion was to get me the etracking number for the delivery to an empty house not closed on yet.
When I mentioned this was unacceptable I mentioned to the manager Sabrina I would cancel the credit card transaction and was threatened with being sent to Collections. I consider this fraudulent activity on the part of a manager in the Ashley furniture company. This store caused the problem by supplying the customer misleading information causing us quite a bit of stress since some of items will be delivered from their location when in fact they get shipped from their warehouse in Redland. She was unable to provide any phone numbers.

Bedroom set was purchased online, we paid for delivery and set up. When delivered there was damage to the set in many different areas, the person delivering the set said they would take photos and have someone call us so we believed them. The same day it was delivered I called and advised them of damages and provided photos, it took me calling more than 6 times to get assistance and ask when would they come and get the furniture as I did not purchase used/damaged items. Finally they agreed to pick up only to be told the $213.99 delivery fee was not going to be refunded, at no time during delivery did they say if it is damaged they would take it away so no option was given. Ashley Furniture does not stand behind their quality and they do not care about the consumer. I am out $213.99 for damaged furniture that was delivered. I consider this unacceptable as a consumer.

I had wonderful experience spending my money. The two sales people were great. One had more experience is decorating, the other was just a nice person. However, I purchased a console from the Sarasota store and the poor lighting changed the color of the actual piece of furniture. It was delivered on time and in great shape. Unfortunately I had to move in quickly in my home, then have surgery. After I came home from the hospital I did not look at the console. After my daughter left, I took a great look at it. In the store it looked "brownish" which is the color of my furniture. In my home it was "grey." I am not a grey furniture person. It looks horrible in my home. It has not been used. The tag is still on and I was told from one of the salesmen they do not take back furniture. I paid about $900.00 including delivery and tax. I've never heard of a store not taking back unused merchandise.
I called customer care and told them what happened. They never got back to me until I called again. They want photos of the damage. It is not damaged. It is the wrong color. I asked for a "credit" so I could purchase one that looked better in my new home. No response. I had to order a new one from another company. I am now out $900.00. I will sell it on marketplace for $300.00 just to get it out of my home. I had planned on spending another $2,000 at the store. I will never shop there again. There are some companies that are great in taking your money but when there is a concern, the answer is "no."
My dad owned a furniture store. My husband owned an antique furniture store. I am a real estate broker and a certified interior decorator. I do not accept shabby customer service. They said on the back of the receipt no refund. You do not get the receipt until you purchase an item and, again, I was going into the hospital. There are exceptions to every rule. I guess they just don't care.
