Don't waste your money on this furniture store. If there is something wrong with what they send you, they will NOT replace it, they will send technician after technician to keep trying to fix it. Even if they technician tells you it is not repairable.

I don't recommend the Phoenix insurance at all. Do not take it even if the store asks you to take it. They only spot clean, not worth the money. I would not have taken it if I would have known that. I am very upset and you can't get your money back either so In my opinion it's a waste of money.

I placed an order online for a mattress on February 17th. My first email I received informed me that delivery would be 1-2 weeks. The next email I received said my delivery was scheduled for March 7th. I then received a text message on February 28th that said to call to schedule delivery. I called on March 3rd and was told that I had to take March 14th for delivery. That is 4 weeks from my order date and one week from my first email that confirmed my delivery date. I will not order from Ashley again. I had to pay for my delivery and I have to wait. Crappy service.

My salesperson was great. Helped me find what I was looking for with a no pressure sales. Everything was treat until my couch was delivered. On about my third pull of the reclining mechanism it completely broke. I called only to be told they could send a repair person in about two weeks. Since I had the couch less than 24 hours I didn't want to wait that long or for a repair. I think it should be replaced. But here I am two weeks later and I can't even get a return email. I will never purchase from them again and I am going to call every day until I get this resolved.. I'm so disgusted with them. At this point I don't even want the couch from them anymore. What a let down.

If I could give zero stars I would. My experience with Ashley is beyond unacceptable and unprofessional. Ordered furniture in October. January 21 delivery scheduled, 2 men to deliver and assemble and entire 3 story house of furniture, they were there 1-7. First day of work and admittedly untrained. Didn’t know how to assemble. 2 Headboards with 12 screws all the way through to the front where you lay your head on each headboard. Couches un-assembled, floors scratched, tables dropped and broken, pieces missing.
Ashely sent 2 techs/delivery men a couple weeks later. I was told “not my job” when I showed them the mess and noticed money missing from my bag when they left. It’s now March. Still no functional furniture and no calls or updates from management at Ashley who assured me this would be escalated and has yet to do a thing about it.

DO NOT SHOP AT ASHLEY!!! The worst experience of my life. Trust me DO NOT SHOP HERE!! I went inside the store in Altamonte Springs, FL July 2024 and it has been a nightmare since! I haven't made a single payment because the Sychrony Bank they make you use is not showing the promotion but when you call the store (and you actually get someone on the phone) they tell you it does show the promotion. Absolute worst experience and I promise you this isn't worth it! I will never, EVER shop here again and tell everyone I know to stay away. My mom just moved and guess where she wanted to buy. Guess where she didn't :)

Ashley Furniture partners with GBS Enterprises to offer the ProtectAll extended warranty, but my experience raises serious concerns about their business practices. GBS Enterprises appears more focused on denying claims than providing the support customers deserve for services they have paid for. It’s disappointing that Ashley Furniture continues to endorse and promote this insurance provider despite these issues, which ultimately leaves customers feeling unsupported and taken advantage of. This partnership reflects poorly on Ashley Furniture’s commitment to customer care.

So, I'm going to say I should have learned the first time. About 3 1/2 years ago, I ordered a living room set. Since I was living on my own again, I had nothing in the way of living room furniture and was told it would be there a certain day/time, which didn't happen and I lived with camping chairs for about a month, maybe a bit longer, which was a miserable experience. Fast forward to now, my daughter has since moved in with me and is now moving back out, so I am going to give her my current sofa/loveseat set.
Now I need a new set and while looking, I kept ending up wanting a specific set from Ashley. I thought about my first experience with Ashley and thought there is no way that debacle could happen again... HA!! Joke's on me!! Only this time, I ordered the couch/loveseat AND a TV stand that will match my current tables. When I ordered it, I did not order assembly because I ordered assembly on the couch/loveseat and thought they would be assembled together... since there is no real assembly to the couch or loveseat other than adding the legs and cushions. (I can do that myself) A couple of days later I have a huge box on my porch, no knock, no text. So now I get a call that my furniture is on back order and won't be delivered for another 2 weeks. I ordered it over 2 weeks ago. It's very unfortunate that my two experiences with Ashley Furniture have been nothing but frustration. There won't be a third!!

We purchased furniture for our living room and dining room and add the furniture protection to all the pieces. Once the furniture once delivered and checked, we were pleased with the delivery. It was not until we went to open the leaf on our dining room table that we noticed the screws on one side of the leaf were missing. This was reported to the warranty department and it took 28 days before the replacement parts arrived only to find out they sent another hinge and not the screws. We are still waiting for the screws and tech to arrive and received an email that there was not enough information on the issue to send a tech out. During this time, our lift top cocktail table screws on one side came apart and the top collapsed. We contacted the warranty department only to be told, we needed to contact the store we purchased the table from for support.
We contacted our sales agent and they took it on their own to report the problem only to be told again there was not enough information on the issue and cancelled the request. We have contacted the store to come pick up their tables and remove them from our billing. We have been a good customer of Ashley, but their furniture has really turned out bad and the warranty department is the worst ever. We are done with Ashley Furniture and will never return to this store.

Ashley team assembled bed rails unbalanced without central support which destroyed both mattresses. My mattresses sunk more than 3 inches in overall thickness. Which in result very unbearable to sleep on it. So we are sleeping on floor with temporary mattress for more than 2 months. Initially I did not know the fact. I thought this is defective mattress so I submitted a mattress claim. They sent technicians twice to take pictures and measurements.
Technicians told me that the problem started with unbalanced bed rails because they put just 3 legs under the rails without any other support that means my mattress is being held by only three wood rails and others does not have any support. Which causes my mattresses to sunk and deshape. You can see waves of mattress in the pictures. So technically Ashley is responsible to cause this problem and should rectify by adjusting the rails first and then replacing the mattresses. But they just passed on to mattress company rather than taking responsibility of their own mistake.
And on top of that mattress manufacturer is looking for more than 1.5 inches sagging dip in some points of the mattress where mattress has already sunk more than 3 inches from all sides then just denied the claim that mattress is not sagging from few points means overall sunk does not a defect in their point of view. And now Ashley rather than understanding the root cause of this issue just answering that we can not do anything because mattress manufacturer has denied. That means they are are not accepting their mistake at all.

This is one of the unprofessional online services I ever seen. I went in the store and seen something that I like and then once I decide I wanted it I went home, went online and ordered it. They send it to me in the box and telling me to put it together for the same price that I could have bought it in the store so then I said it wasn’t assembled. I want to send it back. They also said that I had to pay them to send it back after I paid $179 to get it shipped. I’m just telling y’all for future reference do not order anything online because if you want to send it back, you have to pay and customer service was very rude And I shop in store all the time and never ever had this situation.

READ THE FINE PRINT. Do not trust the sales associates. My wife and I went there on February 9th and bought a sofa and a mattress. We originally had just gone to get a sofa but decided to check out mattresses while we were there. The associate (Ashley believe was her name) told us not to worry that we had 30 days to decide if we liked the mattress we were looking at. She had been showing us one of the most expensive ones which I wouldn't have even considered if there wasn't a trial period. I mentioned the 30 days multiple times and she reassured my wife and I that if we didn't like the mattress we could get our money back in 30 days. Yeah, that was not true. We didn't like the mattress after getting it. It was $3600 on sale after taxes. I called to see about returning it and was told no returns. I was then told I could exchange it for something more expensive or equal value and pay the difference. I told the person that is not what I was told.
I went to the store and they told me the same thing. The guy at the Mt. Juliet store told me I could get something cheaper but I would take the hit. I told him that's not what the girl told me and he said I could come back tomorrow and speak to her but there are no returns or refunds on mattresses. To be fair we're stupid for not reading the fine print because people just say things to make their commission but what a waste. I like the couch but I'm tempted to return that on principle. I would not recommend going to Ashley. They mislead and the guy who I spoke to today at the store and the one on the phone couldn't have cared less. I'll never shop there again.

Absolutely do not buy from Ashley. I expressed my concerns with the agent at the store, in person over my previous experience with Ashley. Lo and behold, I had 2 pieces delivered. One was fine, the other was damaged. I had the damaged one returned but kept the good one - because why not? I expected to get the second one inside of a week and even got a text confirming that. Then I had a new text saying it would be another week. So I have half a living room set, which means I still have the old set taking up room in another room, waiting on this cheap furniture to possibly be delivered bad in 2 more weeks. Avoid this company at all costs. We have purchased twice and been extremely dissatisfied twice. And now that I accepted one piece, I cannot return it. Absolutely wild.

CHECK THEIR BBB COMPLAINTS AND TRUSTPILOT. If I could give zero stars, I would. Ashley Furniture is hands down the worst experience I have ever had with a retailer. Their furniture is absolute garbage—cheaply made, flimsy, and falling apart within just a few months of normal use. It’s clear they don’t care about repeat customers because their entire business model relies on first-time buyers getting duped by their showroom displays, only to realize too late that they’ve purchased overpriced junk.
And don’t even think about expecting decent customer service. Once they’ve got your money, they couldn’t care less about making things right. If you have an issue (which you will), prepare for an endless runaround, excuses, and dismissive responses. They make the return and refund process as painful as possible, likely hoping you’ll just give up. When they do finally approve a refund, expect to wait a ridiculous 60 days to get your money back. But if you financed through their Ashley Synchrony credit card, buckle up—because Synchrony will then make you wait another 15 to 30 days just to issue a refund check.
So what does that leave you with? A BBB complaint, NO couch and no money to buy a new one for up to three months. It’s beyond unacceptable. The lack of accountability, the awful product quality, and the atrocious customer service make Ashley Furniture one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away.

Very disappointed. Bought a sofa, loveseat and chair. The delivery guys purposely hide defects. I had stains and 3 arm cushions for my sofa. The chair was too big for the space so I sent it back which clearly bothered them. Since then it’s been an issue trying to speak to a live human to get resolution. I feel I didn’t get the brand new sofa I purchased but a pieced together of a couple possible returned ones. Not sure how else you get the cushion configuration I received. They sent someone to clean the stains and ordered me the correct cushion (take it off another returned sofa possibly) but it’s not the sofa I paid for. Had the delivery guys not hid the cushion, I’d have sent back the entire set. The only people who call me are the ones asking if I’d like to replace the chair I returned. What do you think?! Of course not. Will not shop here again. Customer service is not their strength.

Eight phone calls and one month later nothing resolved … Salesperson was useless and Store Manager was annoyed I called him… Apparently not authorized to schedule a pickup of the furniture but no problem selling me a $1200 protection plan on a discontinued item. Updated on 03/24/2025: We purchased a sofa sectional on February 12th, 2025, and the story declines from here. Three weeks later we set up delivery. The crew delivered it and when I came home that evening from work, the power recliner was not working. I immediately made a call. First, the salesman we purchased it from would not return my call. Second, when I got in touch with customer service they told me it would be a "warranty claim." So we are doing a warranty claim on a one day old couch I just had delivered that's defective? Long story short.. I have a log of every phone call I've made to Ashley. No one cares about your issue, no one returns you calls as they say they will. It's now March 24th.... over a month and this is still no resolved. First, they sent parts for a tech to replace the problematic issue.. They sent the wrong parts. Now.. they have photos, they have the serial number.
I sent photos of the actual part number. When the wrong parts were received, I called again... I'm in this for over 10 calls... and a lost day of work, not to mention my sanity is wore out with explaining the issue over and over. They have a log of everything right? How is any part of this customer service to the customer? So, moving on.. they ordered more parts, but they sent the same exact parts they already sent when I told them they were incorrect. After back and forth, they decided to send a new section of the couch now. The new couch came, and it was the piece, again, after we specified, you have checked the serial number and have seen the photo of the piece we need. The delivery drivers took photos and made notes of the wrong piece. I called in immediately AGAIN. The agent at the customer service center wants me to explain what's wrong... REALLY>>> AGAIN?!!..
"Let's get the Supervisor and you read all the notes dating back a month." She has no answer for me.. "What is the correct part," she asks... WOW... Maybe I should just come to work and do your job.. It's the only way this is going to settled. No resolution at this point.. and no call back from the Supervisor that was handling this.. Again.. I'm not shocked anymore... this is the norm for Ashley Furniture. I work for a HUGE Corp. We employ thousands across the US... I've put the word out from day one of my experience. So, now it's the following day.. I get a text message to set up my delivery. I'm laughing out loud again.. Ok... Let's do this. I select the following week, on a Saturday again so I don't miss work again. This is a live agent texting me. I ask..."Are you sending the right section this time?" He asks, "What do you mean..." as he reviews my account. He apologizes for all the trouble I've been experiencing.
After a little conversation... the wrong part was going to be sent again... No one bothered to look, check... NOTHING.. Now.. no one has returned my call either. I have all of this in writing. I have every called logged with the date and name of individual I've spoke with. How is the acceptable? This IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE... I'm not asking for a miracle... I've paid for a sofa that is not usable for what it was purchased for. I asked about compensation, I was told if they offered that, they would void my warranty. This is a class act company... NOT!!
Original review: We got a sectional delivered on 2/11/25. The delivery men set up, and tested the recliners out. All worked for the split second of the test. I went to work, then came home that evening, and one of recliners was not working. I called the next day, they supposedly put a call into the warehouse and gave me a ticket number. I asked protocol, they told me 24 to 48 hours I would hear from someone. I decided to call since my intuition told me to. Customer service told me I needed to file a warranty claim online. I attempted to do this, and the site could not find my order.
I called back again, and made the claim over the phone. They asked for photos. They have asked for photos on every call. One side of the recliner is not getting any power. They have a photo of when they delivered the furniture. So now, I have a brand new piece of furniture that is not working properly. Customer service does not care about your complaint, they just take it. I understand things happen... but a BRAND NEW PIECE, and no one truly cares.. You are just another number to them.

10/10 Do NOT recommend! I purchased a couch 2 years ago as well as an additional 5 yr warranty from the Flint Michigan location. The finish on the headrests of the couch are now wearing off. They then graciously pushed me off on the store to try and get some resolution. After several conversations with the warranty company and the store they both just point fingers back & forth at each other & refuse to take care of the issue.
I was told that the sales manager "Christian" would call me back multiple times and of course that call never came. Now I'm left with lots of wasted time & a couch that looks as if it has been drug down the road by a truck all due to no fault of my own. This is a horror story. We purchased a TV stand from Ashley Homestore. The delivery guy from Ashley asked us for $120 to install the TV stand and we agreed on it, even we think it's too much. There was a broken piece in the middle of the TV stand and the guy tried to hide from me. Instead, he used some paint and a tape to cover it and think I will never find out. Besides that, he did a terrible job, the cabinet door wasn't straight and the back piece of the wood wasn't lined up. I found out the problems after he walked away with my $120.
We called Ashley after and it took them long time to deliver us a new TV stand and they took the old one. We were more cautious this time so we told the second delivery person to open the box in front of us. There was another broken piece in the box. Even though the guy saw the furniture is defective, he didn't pick up and he told us to file a new claim. We had an ugly box with furniture inside of our home for two months because they didn't provide us solutions.
What a waste of time and energy to deal with this! We had to take days off from work to stay home and wait for the delivery and picking up the defective product. I recently had a profoundly disappointing experience with Ashley Furniture. We paid approximately $9,000 for what turned out to be a defective product. The sectional piece we received had a noticeable size discrepancy, with the left section being cut shorter than the opposite side. Despite their technician's efforts to fill in the gap, it was clear that this issue could not be fixed, as the pieces were fundamentally mismatched. What’s more troubling is the complete lack of transparency and communication from the company. The technician acknowledged the problem but reported otherwise, leaving us in the dark and frustrated. We've been bounced between different technicians and representatives, each time receiving false assurances that the issue would be resolved.
Ashley Furniture's disregard for customer satisfaction and ethical business practices is evident. Their inability to honor commitments and provide a straightforward resolution has left us feeling neglected and deceived. I strongly advise against purchasing from this company, as their products are subpar and their customer service .

Hi I had a very frustrating experience today. I purchased a couch and love seat and a coffee table with Ashley Furniture agent over the phone. I was made aware that if I don’t like the product as long as I return it to the delivery drivers right away my card will be given a full refund. So today when the delivery came I did not like the sofa set and told them, "Take it back and make sure I don’t get charged for this delivery since I am returning it right away."
I did like the coffee table but returned that too because if I kept it will be charged delivery fee for partial acceptance of delivery but later I spoke to multiple people and they said I would be charged $170 delivery fee even though I returned it right away to the delivery crew. Delivery crew was couple of kids like teenagers. I am so upset that Ashley Furniture or its crew did not keep their word and now I am charged $170 without even buying anything. I demand the refund of $170. I even told the supervisor that at least deliver the coffee table that I did like so at least I get something delivered and not pay $170 for nothing but did not accommodate me at all. Don’t buy from them. They are misleading and unprofessional.

Hard to believe this big fat Corporation would not make an exchange. THE salesperson told me the item was black due to no floor display. It arrived Brown and I complained with customer service and they were too lazy to call the store and find out that I was telling the truth. Was told I signed for it so I am stuck with it. Was willing to exchange for a lower priced item with no money refunded. Corporate could give a damn about personal service. I'm 70 years old and couldn't see it was brown until the truck left. Policy says once accepted no returns. Never addresses exchanges. Will never shop here nor will any of my friends or family. All humans were like robots who could just mimic their policy which only addresses returns not exchanges. Even if their own fault.

We bought a sofa & loveseat with recliners from Ashley. Several weeks later we notified them that the cushions on the sofa was sinking in. They sent a repairman & he ordered new cushions. When he came over to install them it seemed he really didn't know how to replace them. So he began to rip the underlining off the first recliner. It took him about 1 1/2 hours to replace the first cushion. Note the underlining was tacked back but it was attached crappy. The second recliner took him no time. The repairman did state the couch was defected & if the new cushions didn't work, we would get a new sofa.
After he left we sat on the couch & the new cushions did not make a difference. We notified Ashley again & they stayed we would not be getting a new sofa & for us to contact Reguard protection for the warranty we paid for. Reguard stated they had sent us a form to file a complaint. We open the form but you could not file anything. We have called them several times & they stated they were calling Ashley to find out. Today I called them & asked for a physical address to mail them all the information & photos. The lady Mary stated they did not have a physical address & to check my email again. At this point I'm exhausted with no positive results. I feel like I'm being taken advantage of because I'm a senior citizen. I've spent almost $2,000 on 2 pieces of furniture & the sofa I can not sit or lay on. I would never recommend Ashley Furniture or Reguard protection warranty to anyone.

We bought a $1900 Purple mattress and $120 mattress cover from them less than a year ago, reading their reviews saying that it was an excellent mattress. I have had several back procedures and have back pain so was looking for relief. Well, the Purple mattress is NOT the mattress that they highly recommended. It is defective. We kept thinking it was just my back but it wasn’t, it’s the mattress. You can’t see any defects from the outside, but you can feel and tell from the inside. They had us do a measurement of a divot, but you can’t measure one because you can only feel yourself roll to the middle of the bed. We roll from the outside of the bed to the middle of a king size bed. We have explained this to Ashley Furniture and they will DO NOTHING to compensate us for our useless mattress!!
We have spent $$$$ with their company thru the years but told us that it is not their problem and that they can do nothing for us. So we literally just lost $1900 plus to them and they couldn’t care less. It took me calling them 4-5 times to even get anyone to give me any response. It’s a shame that we have been long standing customers, that over trying to compensate us for a mattress that is defective they will NEVER have our business again and I will tell anyone I know how they do business. They are willing to sell you something and when something goes wrong, especially with that amount of money, they just tell you it’s not their problem.

The customer service people were very rude. When the set was delivered the delivery people were very polite and took great care setting it up. The sides of the bed frame were damaged so they couldn’t set it up.
We waited for customer service to reach out and tell us what was going on. 6 days later they still had done nothing and when we called in they were very rude and completely unwilling to do anything for us but told us we would have to wait another week before they could send someone out to fix the problem. Never ever buy from this company!! The sales people are liars and the sales managers are unhelpful and unresponsive. You call after they give you their work numbers and never return the call or pick up. Then you go up there to the store to speak with them because there is a problem and they tell you to call customer service! What!?! I am up here because your salesperson made a huge error that effects what I bought, it came unassembled and I wanted and specifically asked for assembled furniture. You are claiming the salesperson made a huge error and you are giving me numbers to call!?! Ok so I call the numbers, they have no idea what I am talking about because they can not find my order number in the system.
I call you back after you say someone will be in touch by end of the day, it's now been a week, and no call. I call all the numbers again and no one can help and it will now cost me money for you to come get your furniture!?! The sales team along with managers only care about the sale, not what happens after you swipe your card. They will lie in a heartbeat to get you to agree to buy something, because once you swipe the card, it's not their problem anymore! They admit the salesperson made a huge mistake but WILL NOT help you get it resolved! You get what you pay for I guess. Go to Carol House. Spend a bit more for actual customer service and they care after you swipe the card!
I should have went back to Carol House. Now I am stuck with unassembled furniture for a child's bedroom, that I somehow have to figure out how to put together. Ridiculous, just sad that no one cares about being deceitful when they are selling you something. That the company doesn't care how many horrible reviews it gets just as long as people keep buying! Keep dropping the prices you all are gonna go out of business just based on your horrid treatment of your customers, make everything $1.25 and sooner or later you won't be able to give it away your customer treatment is so poor!! This company is a JOKE, worst treatment ever, admit to lying to you, yet WILL NOT do a single thing to make it right. I never bought from them before and regret this whole experience ever happened.

I purchased a complete bedroom set from Ashley on November 30, 2024. I had an issue with the dresser, chest, and one of the nightstands. However, my biggest issue is the nightstand. Both of the drawers on one of the nightstands are off track. The glides are defective. I contacted Ashley Furniture and they gave me the run around for about a week. Finally, after a week and a half, I was given instructions on how to submit a claim. Instead of replacing them they sent the items for repair and told me to contact them after I received the package. It took about a week and I received the items.
When I opened both boxes I realized they had sent two of the same drawer. One drawer is bigger than the other drawer. I called them and complained. Someone was supposed to get back with me and they never did. I am still calling to try to get this issue resolved. All they had to do was replace the item. It was not used. It was totally brand new. I am very disappointed with Ashley Furniture.

However both the delivery guys and customer service said that is not their policy and that items can't be moved from outside the unit. If I was told the truth upfront I would have arranged for the old furniture to be removed.
However instead I had to struggle and drag the heavy furniture myself. However the warehouse messed up the order and sent a double box spring instead of the queen. So I have to wait 4 days to receive a new scheduled delivery of the queen box spring.
I had to put an ironing board under one side of the new mattress so it would not sag and get ruined while I wait for the correct box spring to arrive. I still don't know when it will be delivered but I am very unhappy with Ashley's quality control to assure customers are receiving what they ordered. The technician that came to check it out did not do much, but measured the width and length. He measured the head side of mattress but not putting the tape to very end of mattress but on the area where it would showed lower inches. ⚠️PROCEED WITH CAUTION!⚠️ I purchased table and chairs and after the delivery date being pushed back twice, the table finally arrived. After the delivery drivers set it up, I knew it wouldn’t be a good fit once my other furniture pieces arrived. I informed them and told them that I wanted to keep the chairs but not the table. They told me that they couldn’t take any furniture back unless it was approved. Once I inquired about the approval process, they gave me a number to call. I immediately called the number and the recording said they were closed for the day (7:30/7:45pm). I informed them of what the recording said and they insisted that they couldn’t seek approval elsewhere and that they wouldn’t be able to take the table back on the truck. They left by advising me to call the next morning. I couldn’t make them take the table and they left.
The next morning after receiving the runaround for over an hour, I finally spoke to someone that informed me that if the delivery wasn’t to my liking that I should have returned it with the delivery drivers and that since I didn’t there was nothing that I could do. Infuriated by the answer and discovering that the delivery drivers flat out lied to me and didn’t want to be bothered, I escalated this with store management and the customer care hotline, to no avail. They consistently denied the exchange. Never followed up when they said they would, misleading information, etc.
So in short ⚠️PROCEED WITH CAUTION, when buying anything from Ashley Furniture and make sure you will 200% like it and that it fits your space perfectly because they will lie to you, string you along, and not follow up only for you to find out that they aren’t willing to do anything about it. Once they have your money you are on your own. Going forward I would much rather spend the extra money at Star or Gallery furniture where you know you are at least valued as a customer and treated as such!

My order was promised for delivery within 2-4 weeks. However, it has now been over 60 days and I have still not received the complete order.Furthermore, the items I have received were in unacceptable condition. The "white glove specialists" responsible for delivery caused damage to my dining room table and bed frame. Despite these issues, customer service representatives advised that the furniture was still usable. However, this proved untrue when the bed frame inexplicably collapsed at 3:00 a.m. one morning. In addition to the collapsed bed frame, the couch frame is significantly warped, and the dining room table has visible scratches. To add insult to injury, the dining room chairs have yet to arrive. My attempt to resolve this situation through the Ashley online customer service email has been unsuccessful. Their proposed remedy of sending someone out to assess the damage months from now is completely ridiculous.
I have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau due to the lack of progress and unacceptable customer service. I've had broken and defective furniture sitting in my home for months now; with absolutely no contact from the salesperson or manager with a potential solution to remedy the situation. Needless to say, this has been an absolute nightmare.

Got an email confirmation confirming it. I went into the store on December 15, to check on my order because I hadn’t heard from the actual delivery department. Customer service told me it was out of stock and wouldn’t be delivered until December 26th. When I called later to cancel the order because that date was too late for me. Plus the sales lady didn’t tell me it was out of stock. Spoke to customer service Kristen. Said she canceled the order and refunded our bank account. I had paid in full for the items. Waited another week. No refund. Went into the store again to once again cancel my order. Customer service made the proper refund. That was on December 24th. I felt lied to so many times. We get in a couple of days and take it with us as we move from Alabama to Michigan. We get in our new place and open the mattress up - it's a full mattress not a queen. I chat with customer support. They refuse to make it right - either send me a new mattress or refund the difference between the two. Nope - said that since we changed our address - they couldn't do anything. Their suggestion was to sell it on Facebook marketplace. Horrifying bad customer service - they lost a customer.

Hello, 15 days ago I accidentally made a purchase and within minutes contacted customer service to initiate a return. I’ve called and emailed many times now. Frustratingly I feel like I’ve been given the runaround. Initially, I was told to call back when I received the item. Additionally, I was told I wouldn’t be charged for a pickup of the item from my house for the return (recorded). However, during another call, they couldn’t confirm that the pick-up would be free. These inconsistencies continued during the multiple calls. The item is too large and heavy for me to return myself.
After the item was delivered, I spoke to customer service again and was told to wait 3-4 days (again) for an email. It’s now the 5th day, and I haven’t received an email. I feel misled. I was told my card was already charged and this was one of the reasons they could not cancel and issue a refund. To my now mock surprise it turns out my card was charged many days after I was told this. Thank you little, Miffed customer.
P.S. I’m aware Ashley does not control all factors of the delivery process. That being said the item was delivered in a severely damaged package that was taped up and falling apart. I mention this because based on the customer service I’ve received, I’m concerned Ashely will attempt to use this as an excuse to deny the return. I have video documentation of the item being delivered as described. This will be posted as a review on multiple platforms which will be taken down of if going forward the process is handled in a timely manner and how I was initially told it would regarding the pickup.

Sounds great, right? I filed my first claim months ago only to have received a solution to clean the sofa myself and was told that the cleaning company does not service my living area. After emailing the escalations supervisors, the best solution was to replace HALF the sectional and that the warranty would no longer apply to the new piece...I simply do not want a beige couch that can not be cleaned. The only good thing I can say is the furniture arrived on time. Let’s start with the language barrier, English not first language so could not communicate well, therefore no discussion on how they were going to set up furniture where furniture should be placed etc. Two man crew, both entered home with no booties to protect floor (number 1&2 on the survey sent out after delivery completed). Rushed assembly on bed, I had to stop them and show where they needed to “fix” the assembly several times (big complaint on bed is that assembly is done improperly). And then the damage to the mirror and no hardware to attach to dresser.
The delivery team refused to take it back…took couple pictures and said someone would bring a new one “tomorrow”. Of course Ashley sent out survey immediately, I was generous and gave them a 3…I received two voicemail, 3 texts and an email wanting to discuss my scoring. Husband called number and found out it was located in Philippines call center not Phoenix AZ as the area code appeared. Ashley is no longer the reputable company they pretend to be. I would not recommend buying from them, they will not stand behind their products and do not value their customer.

I was in search of a side bar/ buffet server that would match my dining room table I had purchased from Ashley. I found one online and went to the store in Myrtle Beach to check it out on 11/23/24. I was greeted with a welcoming group of people and my sales person was Kenny **. He said the particular item I was looking for was in the warehouse in NC. Sales remarks on the TENTATIVE DELIVERY indicated 8-12 days--business days, but days. I contacted Kenny at the end of 12 days and he reported the the buffet was going on the truck on 12/9/24 and would be unloaded and someone would call to schedule a delivery time.
I did not hear for anyone on 12/10 so I called this morning 12/11. My buffet that was in stock at the distribution/warehouse failed to make it on the truck. I think what is so frustrating, is that after all this time, no one from distribution bothered to reach out with a call giving me any kind of information. I did write a check for the full price that included assembly and delivery and that check was pending on the 23rd and cleared on the next business day. When you Ashley, you get someone who is with the corporate office or someplace other than the local store. They won't put you through to the local store until you have spent time on hold waiting to look up your order. After the "have a nice or fantastic day" insincere comment, they put you through to the local store. That was pretty much more of the same.
Not really much I can do at this point, I don't want to start all over in this search... To them my time and effort mean nothing. At this point, I do feel some sort of compensation should be in order. The only person who has reached out to me is Kenny **, my salesperson. He's been more than nice and has apologized all over the place. He even texted me on Monday telling me the buffet would be on the truck-- I would give him 5 stars for his effort.

Buyers Beware. I went into an Ashley store and found the exact same headboard I bought almost 20 years ago and was elated! I loved my original one. My son also needed a new bed so thought I'd kill two birds with one stone. Along with his new bed frame and new mattress, the sales lady told me I would absolutely need a box spring (foundation), so I went ahead and let her add it to the order not knowing any better. I ordered November 25 and was told the earliest delivery would be December 5th. The expected delivery time and the actual delivery was fine, the men were nice enough. However, I was told the box spring was not needed, in fact, it would be impossible to use it because it was way too high, so much so that the bed would reach halfway up to the ceiling. I was told to "reject" the item and they would refund me the $$.
Now the next part is where is starts to go extremely downhill. As I assess my master headboard (I did not want to go into the room while building because I didn't want to get in their way), I find it is the completely wrong headboard! The delivery man tells me not to reject this item but to call his dispatcher. I was confused because the box spring/foundation was to be rejected but not this item? It didn't add up.
Long story short, the woman helping us in the beginning put in the wrong item and now I've had to jump through hoops to speak to the correct person and to find a delivery time that works for our family and quickly. Those with kids can empathize the busyness of weekends. Their customer service has been HORRENDOUS. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE HERE! I've made sure to tell everyone who is considering buying new furniture to stay away. It is December 11th, and I have yet to receive my headboard, with no mutual delivery day/time in sight while my mattress sits on the floor and the rest of the frame standing on its side in the middle of the room. Add the fact that the refund promised has also not been processed. If this is your idea of a smooth, pleasant, and hassle-free experience then have it. But NOT THANK YOU, NEVER AGAIN.

I am writing to share my extremely disappointing experience with a recent purchase from Ashley Furniture located at 22705 Savi Ranch Pkwy, Yorba Linda, CA 92887. Initially, everything went smoothly. The salesperson was helpful, and we purchased a leather sofa and loveseat with electric reclining capabilities. The delivery process was seamless, leaving us satisfied with the service so far. However, the issues began the day after delivery. We quickly realized two significant problems with the furniture: the sofa's backrest was too vertical to be comfortable unless reclined, and its height was unsuitable for our smaller room. Because of these concerns, we decided to return or exchange the furniture.
Unfortunately, this is where everything took a turn for the worse. I discovered that Ashley Furniture’s customer service operates through an overseas call center, where representatives read from a script stating: "Sorry, anything bought from the store is your problem"—unless the issue is a manufacturing defect. While our issue was not a defect, it was a clear dissatisfaction with the product’s comfort and fit for our space. Despite this, the store's strict "No Returns" policy left us with no options. When we visited the store manager, we were met with the same unyielding response: "No exchanges or returns unless the product is damaged." In our case, a complaint was escalated, and we were told to expect a call from corporate within 72 hours. Unsurprisingly, no one called back.
This entire experience has revealed a disappointing truth about Ashley Furniture’s priorities: customer service appears to rank far below rigid company policies. A policy so inflexible that it disregards a customer's genuine discomfort and dissatisfaction just one day after delivery sends a clear message about the company’s culture and values. As a customer who values service and responsiveness, I can only express my deep disappointment. My hope is that Ashley Furniture reconsiders its approach to customer satisfaction and provides resolutions that reflect a commitment to its buyers.

Purchased a power recliner sofa as a Christmas gift for my daughter. They did not have any in stock but had 1 left in the warehouse she liked. They told her it was as is & did give the discount. Sold her an extended warranty. She goes to pick it up gets it home & there is an issue with the recliner. Call to put in a claim, denied as it was an AS IS piece. Ok, so I called the store to ask if I could schedule a service call (pay for it & the parts), denied as it was an AS IS piece they will not repair. I asked how did we know what was wrong unless we checked it out. Again, there was nothing that could be done. So I have spent $1600 on a sofa that doesn't work & purchased an extended warranty that is not valid.
I need to understand how that is legal and how this can happen. I somewhat understand the warranty portion (not really) if you sell something that doesn't work how can you not even allow someone to get it fixed? You will take the money not just a little money but $1600 which may not be alot for Ashley but to us normal working people it is A LOT of money that we have nothing to show for it.

I purchased a Leesworth reclining sofa and matching recliner from Ashley in March 2024, right before an emergent back surgery. Once they were delivered, I don't remember them being like the ones that were on the display floor but having the back pain I couldn't be entirely sure until I had recovered. Once recovered I called Ashley's customer service department and they did arrange a visit from a technician. They said I had a 1 year manufacturer's warranty that could be used. The issues were my recliner set at a spot where it made me stare at the ceiling and my feet were not on the ground so I always needed to be reclined and that was not even comfortable. The one in the store allowed my feet to be on the ground and was extremely comfortable when reclined. The sofa sat back at an angle where my chin needed to be tucked causing neck pain.
I read about the allowable variations of the backs of sofas and the manufacture's tolerances being between 105* and 110*. I used a goniometer (used to measure joint range of motion) to check the angle of the sofa I purchased with the one in the store. The one on the store was 104* and the one delivered to my home was 111*. Even sitting on the sofa just wasn't comfortable like the display model. I wanted to make an exchange of the furniture they delivered with what was on the store floor.
Getting new furniture from the factory made me nervous about having another problem. It took some time but finally it was escalated to the store manager and he went to corporate and finally informed me that the exchange could be made. We needed to transport the furniture to the store to return the ones I purchased and get the display model back home ourselves, but it was well worth the effort. The store manager said "I want you to be comfortable". Now I am comfortable, thankful and Very Grateful. Thank you Ashley's for the great customer care.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Ashley Furniture for years, but my recent experience has completely changed my perspective on the brand. I am beyond frustrated with their customer service and feel completely disregarded as a customer. I purchased furniture that arrived damaged and was of poor quality—wobbly, cracked, and unfinished. As soon as I noticed the issues, I followed the proper procedure and contacted their customer service within the 72-hour window, as instructed. I have receipts and documentation to prove that I complied with their complaint process. However, despite this, I was given the runaround at every turn.
I was passed from one agent to another, and each one repeated the same generic line: “You need to file a complaint within 72 hours of delivery.” When I explained that I had already done so, I was told to wait another 72 hours for a response or transferred to yet another department. At one point, I was even transferred to an "online department" that didn’t handle my type of issue and was told to go through another team. It felt like they were just dodging my complaint and doing everything in their power to avoid processing a refund or taking responsibility for the damaged items.
To make matters worse, a technician was sent to my home, supposedly to help with processing the return. However, I later found out the technician was there to "fix" the furniture — something I never requested. I made it clear from the beginning that I wanted a return, not a repair. After waiting more than 72 hours for a response, they finally told me they would only process a return for the nightstand and dresser. They gave me a pickup date for the furniture, but they didn’t offer any flexibility in choosing a time that worked for me. Everything was on their terms, with no regard for my schedule or needs.
It’s incredibly frustrating to be treated this way, especially as a customer who has spent thousands of dollars with Ashley Furniture in the past. It seems clear that customer service is no longer a priority for this company, and I’m seriously reconsidering ever purchasing from them again. I would strongly caution anyone thinking of buying from Ashley Furniture to think twice. Their handling of complaints is absolutely unacceptable, and their customer service is horrendous. I will never buy from Ashley Furniture again.

In the second case, the railing, I had to dis-assembly the entire frame to put the bed on the floor. This whole ordeal will take longer than 3 weeks to resolve. They told me they will replace the rail, but not re-assembly. I would recommend getting the 5 year warranty if you must use ashley though expect to be put out by the company when you need their help.
Ashley Furniture products are made from low-quality materials and are not expected to last beyond the warranty period. Last November, we purchased a bedroom set from Ashley and have already encountered two issues with the bed frame. First, the sleigh headboard cracked and had to be replaced. The second issue involved the bed railing, where the wood snapped (see image).
Both times, dealing with warranty repairs was a hassle. The process required multiple calls, visits, and inspections to facilitate the repair. For the railing issue, I had to completely disassemble the bed frame and place the bed on the floor. Resolving this issue is expected to take over three weeks. Although they agreed to replace the rail, they informed me that reassembly would not be included. If you must purchase from Ashley, I recommend getting the 5-year warranty. However, be prepared to deal with the headaches that come from support from Ashley.

Every two weeks, our other three items have been pushed out repeatedly because they haven't arrived at local warehouse for delivery. The warehouse lady has been awesome at checking on our items. However, after close to 3 months, we refuse to be out of the money with a bedroom out of order due to shipping issues. We spent almost $1 000 on these items. I contacted the store with the issue & was told that someone would "probably" be able to bring the missing items & would call me back shortly, 1-1/2 hour passed by & had to call the store back to get an answer. Unfortunately, the product delivered was of poor quality and nothing like what was promised. I decided to return it, only to find that their return policy requires me to cover the shipping fees—which, shockingly, are almost as expensive as the furniture itself. To make matters worse, they don’t allow returns to a physical store, leaving me with no practical option but to keep a subpar item or trash it altogether. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and feels like a waste of money. Their return policy is highly unreasonable, especially given the poor quality of the product. The delivery driver took pictures of the damage and sent to the customer service person while in my dining room. The exchange was scheduled and I received a call from a rep a half hour before the start of my delivery window stating they had to reschedule. The new delivery date arrived and they were no call, no show. No one even called the next day to acknowledge this failure. I called them and was given another delivery date. That delivery date came, November 15th, and it was another no call, no show. I called the rep after my delivery window ended. She said the table isn't in stock. So, why was I given delivery dates if the table is not in stock? Why didn't anyone call?
I still have a damaged table as you can see by the pictures. Discolored and scratched. It's supposed to be espresso brown as I saw in the store. The written description of the product said nothing about variations in color. This is deceptive advertising. The government really needs to get involved with this nationwide Ashley Furniture issue. It's November 14th and I have no exchange. I purchased the table at Ashley Furniture Grapevine, Texas. If you choose to foolishly buy from them, inspect the product outside of your home. Your ID is checked for fraud, put on file, and photocopied. Wasn’t told about the last two things which I have an issue with. So my bf used his. (Identity theft/data breaches) They wrote my debit card info on paper. When I called later on asking for a letter that my info can be deleted the manager Marty said she can’t talk to me because I’m not on the order. I asked for her supervisor and the owners contact info and she refused to provide that. My bf asked and she refused to give it to him and it’s his order. After that she asked if we wanted a refund (it’s a joint account. We said yes after the customer service we are experiencing.) Keep in mind we did not ask for the refund, she offered it. She stated to bring our card in person. WE said we would be on the way. At no time were either one of us told that anyone wasn’t allowed in the store.
When we got there the card was presented and I asked a question about their refund policy if we had gone through with everything; “so how does the owner thank people when you get your refund?”. (This is an actual thing it’s not meant to be smart). 3 employees were sitting there so any one of them could’ve answered. Marty responded “okay you’re here by trespassing so I’m going to need you to exit immediately in ******** County. “ I asked what for and didn’t get an answer. I got the keys from my bf and went to the car.
The store is in the City but the lady said County which was weird. My bf comes out stating Marty was making comments on our relationship and finances which is completely inappropriate. My bf states Marty proceeded to tell him her brother (or some family member) is a Sheriff in the County and he will come down to arrest anyone. So basically she just attempted to intimidate us with her family member that works in law enforcement, she refunded us because she did not want to deal with giving any type of resolution, and she will “trespass” people if you do anything she doesn’t feel like dealing with.
This store has zero customer service. This store needs to be investigated if customers are being trespassed for no valid reason and being threatened by the manager's family members. Marty cost the store a same day $3000k sale. I am starting to think my bf and I were profiled because of the fraud story they were telling us about and we were followed ever since we were in the store. There were two girls that came in after us and no one bothered them or followed them.

We spent several days visiting 5 different furniture stores including Ashley Furniture. At each store we spoke to a sales clerk and asked detailed questions. Our first visit to Ashley Furniture we documented the sale price of $1099 for the sofa, and $849 for the recliner chair. Once we decided on the qty (2 sofas and one chair) we asked the sales person if they had any deals beyond the sale price... She (Yolanda) said yes if paying cash vs financing. Simple math: $3,047 before tax and delivery. We noted that price and drove to our preferred store (Rooms to Go) for comparison pricing. We returned to Ashley and asked them to "write it up"... The sales person came back and said, "I can give you a 25% discount offer regular price..." We thought "great"... Wrong. Final offer was $4,750. That's $1,700 over sales price.
We drilled down line item by line item to figure out how she could come to that number. Well first off she added a $750 warranty that she said is required if you want a discount price. Then she added $349 for delivery (this was the highest delivery price when compared to all other furniture stores in the same area). We said we don't want the extended warranty and simply wish to buy at the marked and displayed price of $3,047 plus tax and shipping. She said we could not buy as marked for that prices and the best they could do was over the marked price because she can't sell me three items at the marked discount (only two). I said, "Can I buy two items and my wife buys one..." They discussed and said yes. New price... Still over the listed and marked price. Total scam.. We walked out and bought a higher price set (and certainly higher quality from Rooms to Go). I will NEVER walk in an Ashley Furniture store again.

Purchased several clearance items immediately before the Burlington Ashley Homestore closed for the evening on October 28. They were scheduled for delivery on November 1. The day before delivery, my wife unfortunately changed her mind about one of the pieces, and called Ashley customer service hoping they could help. The representative (a nice woman) advised that normally clearance items are not able to be refunded, but if it had not been loaded onto the delivery truck then they could make an exception because it is still "pre-possession", and stop it from being loaded, and cancel it and refund us. After a short time, she called back and confirmed it had not been loaded yet, it was cancelled, and the billing team would refund. We were happy Ashley customer service team were reasonable and relieved it would not be an issue going forward. Or so we thought.
Nov 1 delivery came, and the cancelled piece was not part of it, as expected. We proceeded to buy a similar (more suitable) piece from another seller, and more pieces from Ashley (two other locations) because of our positive experience in which Ashley Homestore was willing to help us on this. Nov 4 in the morning I get an unexpected call from Ashley, and it is a guy who says "so what do you want done with this piece?" I advise that it was already refunded, and he says "it's cancelled?!?" I said yes, the order and delivery was cancelled and was refunded, as per our previous phone call. He says "oh ok, it wasn't marked as cancelled. I'll do that now. Billing team will be in touch about the refund." I was surprised because I thought the refund had already occurred, so after the call I checked and sure enough there was no chargeback on the credit card yet.
Nearly two business days later (Nov 5 near end of day), my wife called them back because I had not heard from the billing team as advised, and there was still no credit. Happened to talk to the same guy. He again tells us the billing team would be contacting me, but wouldn't give a timeline that I asked for (because it had been nearly 2 days already).
Three days after that (Nov 8) I decide to follow up via their website chat support, because it seems like nothing gets resolved over the phone. Their website has a "Chat Now" next to the phone number, but when you click on it absolutely nothing happens. So I call the number. This time it was a different guy. I said I was following up on a cancelled item, and he pulls up my info and tells me that it is a clearance item so it cannot be cancelled. I explained that it was a pre-possession cancellation, but he says he doesn't see anything indicating that in his system. I told him we cancelled it on Oct 30 (in error, I just knew it was before Nov 1 when the delivery came), and he says no the earliest thing they have in the system indicates I was called on Nov 4.
He asks me who I talked to on Oct 30, I said I don't know her name. He says if I don't know who we talked to, and there is nothing in his system, there is nothing he can do. I pushed further, and said "so you don't have any record of anything happening before Nov 4?" and he says "it says here that you called in on Oct 31, not Oct 30". I corrected myself and said yes, not Oct 30 then, it was Oct 31, sure. Irrelevant because it was still pre-possession and no inconvenience to Ashley because it wasn't even loaded for delivery yet at the time, which was why the woman agreed to do the refund. He says "but you don't know who you talked to?" I said, "Yes, since you know about that phone call now, I know exactly who we talked to - it was the person that was on the phone with us during that logged call that you claimed you had no record of earlier in this conversation!"
I asked offhand how much longer was it going to be before we were contacted to resolve this, since it had already been about 9 days since the original cancellation of the order, and he says "it's just me and one other guy, and it is on my list, so probably later today". Riiigght. I'm so sure that after 9 days (or even 5 from their perspective) that when I called you right before end of day you were literally seconds away from calling me, when the call I was supposedly waiting for was "the billing team". This guy then said the only thing he could do was issue store credit. I would have been totally fine with store credit 10 days earlier, because I had spent that amount twice over since then. Now, after this fiasco, I never want to shop there again, but I HAVE TO unless I want to just throw that money away.
So my conclusion was that these two guys just leave people hanging until they call in to force the issue, telling people that they will get a call back that will never come, when they can (and should) resolve the issue on the spot. And they lie about the issue history so it is more convenient for deflecting responsibility. They sure as hell must know who the woman was that we initially talked to - their system does have a log of the calls. No idea whether she was nice but incompetent (didn't cancel or refund) or fake nice and just setting these guys up for plausible deniability, but it doesn't matter. Either way this is a black eye for Ashley customer service and is deplorable. Oh yeah, forgot to mention - we overpaid for delivery because the piece in question put us into a different delivery price bracket, but the actual delivery obviously excluded that piece. They didn't even think to square that up as a customer service gesture.
Follow up: while writing this summary, I got a call from Ashley because they saw a "reselection" status on my account. I explain what happened, and he advised me to contact Ashley Customer Service about it, and get them to refund instead of having as "reselection" (which is essentially store credit - he is probably a sales guy and wants to make the commission on whatever we spend that credit on). The nerve, to tell me that what I need to do is reach out to customer service to resolve, when (up to this point) customer service ONLY reached out to me when they had a piece that they thought they needed to deliver. I am not going to call them back for a fourth time asking them to refund me when that is what I was told would happen the very first time and had been refused as recently as a few hours ago.

Hi, Everyone, Please take my advice when you try to purchase from Ashley. They are many traps. I spent more than $5,000 to bought a sofa in Ashley store in 2015, the salesperson James also suggested to purchase 5 yeas $400+tax warranty. He also told me that if the warranty is not used for 5 years, I will get full store credits that I can use for next purchase. I went to Ashley store a couple days ago (definitely after 5 years), and tried to purchase while claiming. But the store refused to offer me credits, so I had to reached the customer service by phone, I was told that my credit is no longer available because I only have 180 days to claim the credits after warranty expired.
I am very angry and shocked because I have never been told about this 180 days claim policy. And I even check the receipt, there is no single words related to this policy. Luckily I still have the business card from that salesperson James. He also told me that he has never been told about the 180 days claim policy when he works in Ashley. He assumed this policy must be new after he left Ashley about a few years ago. As a customer, I feel being cheated, and also been fooled by Ashley store. They are definitely not a honest company, but a scam and tricks.

I bought a queen platform bed from Ashley Furniture. The bed was put together without the support beams. My daughter was unable to use the bed due to the boards cracking from not being supported. I contacted Ashley furniture and they sent a technician out, he confirmed that the bed was missing the support beams. The technician stated that I would have the replacement parts in no later than three weeks. That was mid August. Fast forward two weeks ago, I went into the Ashley store and let them know that my replacement parts still had not come in and that and I have been left with an unusable bed for almost three months. They went in the system and saw that the parts were on back order. They contacted the service department and stated they would get back to me in a couple of days.
Last Tuesday I was contacted by the service department. They left a voicemail stating that they placed a bed on order. The agent stated that whichever came in first the parts or the bed, would be what they would use to rectify my situation. So, I called back because they still did not give me a date when the bed or parts would be in. I was met with the EXTREMELY RUDE AND ARROGANT service representative who basically told me that the parts and the bed was on back order and I would just have to wait. Disregard the fact that I paid almost $900 for something I cannot use.
After, going back and forth she rudely stated that I don’t have to keep the bed. So, I asked them to come pick the bed up which they scheduled without even asking me if it was okay for them to come pick up the bed on that day and time. So, last Friday, they came and retrieved the bed. The men were very nice. They asked why was I giving the bed back, I told him the situation. He called a manager. He asked the manager to call me so we could discuss the issue further. A manager NEVER called. I have been a faithful Ashley furniture customer. I have spent thousands at their store. I will not ever purchase anything else with them again.

We were looking for a new living room set. We decided on purchasing a set and it was delivered to our home and set up as promised. After sitting in the couches for a few weeks we decided they were uncomfortable, did not fit well in our space and wanted to return them. The people that set up our couch had left a power chord around a metal piece in the couch which caused the wire to be exposed and shorted out the couch. We were told by the repairman that he was surprised we didn’t get electrocuted.
After returning to the store to see if we could return and exchange the couches, we were given the run around for a week and when we finally caught the manager in the store we were rudely told no exchanges or refunds. If you do decide to purchase from these crooks, remember, if you have any problems or issues with your purchase, you will not be helped and there will not be a resolution for you. When the parts are delivered they will send out another technician to put it all together. So I went to the store to complain and they said that's all they can do. I asked to speak to the manager. He was too busy to talk to me. As he was talking to his employees and when I confronted him he said he did not know. I wanted to talk to him but his other worker told him that I was waiting on him and he said he did not know that. I have made four calls to Ashley to be put through this process of filing a claim online to have someone contact us to make an appointment. The person simply can’t do this when you call. Within a week or ten days after delivery, I discovered a cut on the left arm of the sleeper sofa. I contacted customer service to report the issue, and they ordered a replacement part. However, it took almost a month for a technician to arrive, only for him to discover they had ordered the wrong part.
After another month of waiting, the technician returned but said he needed more time and couldn't fix it that day. Three weeks later, he finally came back to replace the part, only to tell me that the replacement left arm was loose and looked worse than the original damage. Even the technician acknowledged this and said he would write a report to Ashley. Despite this, customer service confirmed (by Alexis) that the technician wrote the report and requested new photos. Today, I received an email saying they are closing my case because the damaged part has been replaced, which is completely unacceptable.
For such a large company, this was an incredibly disappointing experience. I paid the full amount for new furniture and was subjected to months of delays and poor service. We were assured by the delivery person a Karen and some other name were working on locating another assembly kit and would be in touch with me before the end of the day.. The delivery person also assured me someone would come out with the new kit and assemble the bed. I was assured would receive a call in the morning. Also, the mirror was supposed to be attached to the dresser which wasn't done.
Oct 4 - I ended up calling and spoke to a Mariah, who put me on hold to research, got back on the line, placed me on hold again and then hung up on me. I called back, got her again and it was like a whole new phone call and needed all of my information again. I was then provided a ticket number and was told I would receive a call within 24 hours which I never did receive that phone call. I received an AI text asking what I would rate my delivery on a scale of 1-5. I gave it a 2 and explained parts were missing and how terrible the communication has been.
Sat Oct 5 - I received simply a response that a new hardware kit was being shipped and I would receive it in 5 days. Oct 9th - Kit came in but never received a call about scheduling someone to come assemble the bed. ALSO, the kit was sent to my previous address and not the address where the furniture was delivered. Oct 11th, my husband opened the kit to see if it had all the pieces. The kit was missing 21 bolts and 14 nuts. BUYER BEWARE. I purchased a queen size bedroom set (bed, night stand and chest) in November 2024, it was delivered in December 2024 and upon initial inspection everything looked fine with the exception of a small piece of wood that was missing on the chest. Fast forward to last week, 10/4/24, I'm reorganizing my clothes in the chest only to discover a massive crack in the wood at the TOP of the INSIDE of the chest. I also discovered at that time that the backboard of the chest looks like it was never secured properly.
I went to the Ashley store, they told me to call a number and the customer service was in very poor taste to say the least! I am well within my one year manufacturer's warranty but I'm told since it wasn't delivered that way I would need to use my extended warranty that I purchased. How do I know it wasn't delivered that way since I can't see what they're are looking at and more importantly the wood shouldn't be cracking in the manner in which it did. PERIOD! So why aren't they honoring the one year manufacturer's warranty? The customer service people were horrible and just when I thought I found one that seemed helpful, who told me she can get my chest back to showroom quality, she ghosts me.
Angel now doesn't respond to my calls or emails. She told me she would order the parts and have them sent to my house then we would schedule a technician to come out and if he/she couldn't repair it, they would replace it. I was also told the extended warranty covers damage done by the customer. Again, once my chest was placed against a wall, it hasn't moved so how could I put a huge crack at the top INSIDE of the chest??? This just sounds and looks like poor material quality, not customer error. This is the worst experience I have ever had with furniture and I plan to blast this any and everywhere so that people know to never ever purchase anything from Ashley Furniture.

Updated on 10/24/2024: After disputing the order we received a voicemail from Ashely Customer Service from someone named Britney asking us to call back at the 800 number at x-**. After several calls to both the originating number and other numbers including the store, there apparently is no x-** and no one named Britney. I've made every effort to remedy this issue. While waiting on the phone so many times for so long, I've had a chance to google other reviews... and now wish I had done so BEFORE doing business with them! It's apparent Ashley has a widespread systemic problem which has been going on for years. Just absolute non-sense with dealing with this company.
Original Review: Wife and I bought a sofa with rug. Sofa delivery was fine, however the rug wasn't delivered... after several calls, we were told the rug had to be picked up at the store. We drove an hour to the store only to find out that was not the case. The manager couldn't figure out what was going on with the order, so she canceled the order and reordered. More than three weeks passed with no updates. Yesterday I called only to be told there was no open orders associated with my phone number.
After calling the call center, they transferred me to another rep at the store. After minutes, the rep replied that they would have someone call me back within the hour. I never heard back. Tired of calling and trying to resolve this issue. Nearly a month ago when we were having trouble with the original order, we actually had a call from Ashley asking us if we would be okay with the display model at the store, which of course since we bought new, we were not. Called this morning to my cc company to dispute the charge since we never received the item. Just awful customer service experience. Ashely is happy to sell something to you but cannot follow through with an order, especially if there's something wrong.

This review is long overdue, but I can't forget the outstanding assistance I received from Lisa, a manager at the Snellville location of Ashley Furniture. In November 2018, I purchased a Serta adjustable bed for around $5,000, and Ashley Furniture handled the delivery and setup. However, the model I received didn’t include the bed brackets that hold the mattress in place (or so I thought). Over time, I started noticing that newer adjustable beds came with these brackets, and I assumed I might need to upgrade my bed to get them.
When I visited Ashley’s to price a new bed, I explained to Lisa how my bed didn’t have the brackets, which forced me to manually adjust the mattress almost every night, especially when raising the head or foot of the bed. It had been a real inconvenience. To my surprise, Lisa informed me that my bed should have come with the brackets all along. She went above and beyond to look into my purchase history and even pulled up a setup photo from when my bed was delivered. Sure enough, the picture showed that I never received the brackets. Lisa took it upon herself to rectify the situation, and though it took some time, she managed to get the brackets delivered to me—saving me the cost of a new bed!
Considering that five years had passed since my purchase, I was amazed at the level of service and dedication Lisa showed in resolving the issue. The brackets themselves were quite expensive, and her efforts saved me from an unnecessary expense. If Lisa is still with Ashley Furniture, they are incredibly fortunate to have someone like her on their team, who truly cares about customer satisfaction and ensures things are made right. I’m now considering buying more furniture from Ashley, but I wanted to submit this review first to recognize the exceptional service I received. Thank you, Lisa, and thank you, Ashley Furniture!

This was my first experience purchasing from Ashley Furniture, and it will likely be my last. While the sales process was seamless and efficient, I encountered significant issues upon delivery. Two of the side chairs had scratches on their legs, and the two table leaves were also damaged. I refused the items and attempted to contact the store for information regarding the return process. Unfortunately, my calls went unanswered, and messages to sales staff were not returned. After two days of persistent attempts, I finally reached a manager, who informed me that the store does not handle exchanges directly and that I would need to contact customer service for any returns or exchanges.
This has been quite frustrating, as it seems that once the payment is made (we paid cash for the dining set), customer support diminishes significantly. Additionally, I was informed that there was a balance due for exchanging the table leaves, despite them arriving damaged from the warehouse. I am currently working with customer service representatives to resolve this issue. I would advise potential buyers to proceed with caution, as it appears that customer support may be lacking once a purchase is finalized.
