Purchased a bedroom set the dresser lasted 1 year, the metal guides that hold the drawers lost all the bearing causing the drawers to tighten hard to open and close and ended up breaking 2 drawers. No way to repair them. If you want cheap furniture well then this place is perfect. You get what you pay for.

They’ll bend over backwards to make the sale but G-D help you if you have to make changes or cancel. You can’t call the store direct, you have to go through their corporate phone center who will call the store for you. In my opinion, totally mismanaged.

I purchased product of Ashley sofa and recliner, from Morris Furniture company. Also purchasing insurance on both at the time of purchase. Since then, I've reached out because furniture is unstable and I am a single person of one in my household. It took 3 months to finally get someone to look at the furniture from a repair company... This was 3 weeks ago, the owner of company came, took pictures and identified all the issues and said he would submit this to them. I was explained to by this gentleman that Ashley Furniture would reach out to me after he submitted issues, I have yet to hear from them and this is now going on 4 months in after l called with issue of the furniture. It is now a complaint.

I have scheduled my delivery on the 15 between 11am and 2pm. The delivery guy called me 7am. Want to come by. I said, "No. I want to keep my delivery time." Planning to leave work early only to get a call to say they canceled my delivery for the 26. I have called, spoke to about 4 people. No one have answered for me. I tried to contact corporate but no surprise you can't get through. Now you know why they don't care about their customers. Terrible way to treat your customers. Why scheduled a delivery if they not going to come that time people plan for delivery?

Do not purchase a warranty with these people because they do not honor it. I bought a sectional for about $6000 not even a year ago somehow a small ashy looking stain showed up on my furniture and it wasn’t sunburn. It wasn’t chemical or anything like that I don’t know where it came from. They sent someone out one time and I never heard from them again. If you buy furniture, do not purchase a warranty. And also, it had mechanical issues.

I bought from Ashley two years ago and paid the full amount with the protection plan. My husband used this sofa for a while and he noticed severe back pain, so it didn't work for a while and we saw a part of the wood of the sofa that came out and caused a problem. After contacting the customer service, they took away our sofa and after a few weeks, they did not even look at the sofa, and with this they made fun of us. We had expressed our displeasure and had not held several ceremonies in our new house, they said it was correct, and we had put our clothes down one day, and they brought us the same sofa again without any changes, there was even some mold on the sofa, and we got angry and returned it. We are still waiting!! I am not at all satisfied with Ashley and I do not recommend you at all and I share this story everywhere

So got JERKED OFF by Ashley customer service/care like the other customers. When I came on this site there were only 175 5star reviews… I guess I, (WE) all should have checked this site first before we brought anything from Ashley. Over 5000 dissatisfied customers from all over the country couldn’t be in cahoots to put their story about Ashley Furniture Company into the spotlight. I truly believe Ashley will NEVER read any of these stories. They certainly have their showrooms full and looking inviting. That’s how we All got here. Very Helpful salespeople to get your business & $$$$!!!
Look at my photos. The first one is of the item that was on display in the store. The other photos show that the cabinet they delivered was not the same color or unfinished. I must admit it was solid, undamaged and well assembled.
The twist is when I added my sales receipt to this review the photo of the item piece in the description matches what they delivered; an unfinished cabinet. Definitely Not what they had on display. And the CS manager Sophia said they could discount me 10 to 15%=[$90-135.00], but I would have to forfeit the 1yr warranty. Instead I’m taking my chance in small claims court and will discourage anyone thinking about buying from them. PS. I’m a Verified Buyer and will follow up with how I made out in court. Omitted Name and Address from the sales order photo. 2-3! stars because other than the cabinet color we’re we’re with the purchase. It Could have been higher but the sale was tainted by the Customer Service Experience.

I recommend to everyone- DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE! The bad reviews are true! I purchased a table around October 20th. I noticed the damage after they put it together and asked if they could take it back. Was told they would offer an exchange. The delivery driver took pictures of the damage and sent to the customer service person while in my dining room. The exchange was scheduled and I received a call from a rep a half hour before the start of my delivery window stating they had to reschedule. The new delivery date arrived and they were no call, no show. No one even called the next day to acknowledge this failure. I called them and was given another delivery date. That delivery date came, November 15th, and it was another no call, no show. I called the rep after my delivery window ended. She said the table isn't in stock. So, why was I given delivery dates if the table is not in stock? Why didn't anyone call?
I still have a damaged table as you can see by the pictures. Discolored and scratched. It's supposed to be espresso brown as I saw in the store. The written description of the product said nothing about variations in color. This is deceptive advertising. The government really needs to get involved with this nationwide Ashley Furniture issue. It's November 14th and I have no exchange. I purchased the table at Ashley Furniture Grapevine, Texas. If you choose to foolishly buy from them, inspect the product outside of your home. If they bring it in and set it up, they will consider the item as "in your possession" and they will not take it back.

Salesmen very friendly. Mattress began to disintegrate and turn lumpy 6 months in and is now unbearable. I am sleeping on the floor to save my back. I and many others were told that they were out of stock, then order suddenly appeared days later. Without proof, always felt my mattress was replaced with a cheap brand. Suffering with no way to buy a good mattress. Affects my life negatively every day.

We purchased a bedroom set including new mattress from Ashley and paid extra to have delivered and set up so there would be no problems. Wrong. The bed frame had very noticeable chips and dings clear down to bare wood. After I reported to customer service, instead of replacing, they sent repairman who spent 2 hours and was unable to fix. They still will not replace and disassembled the bed to take the piece back to their shop. So in addition to missing 1/2 day of work, I will also be missing more for them to come back and reassemble. It floors me that they delivered and set up the damaged piece to begin with.

I just bought a new home and had absolutely no furniture, I ordered a living room set and kitchen set in October. It is not the 3rd week of November and way over a month and still have not received my furniture. Customer service is absolutely useless and they do not help. I think this is very unprofessional when you are a business and do not return phone calls and have customers waiting over a month for furniture! I would never recommend buying from Ashley Furniture unless you do not mind waiting over a month for your purchase and also if you like not having your problem solved or get a return phone call....

We bought a loveseat and recliner from Waltman Furniture in Chicora, PA in January 2022. Both seats on loveseat are worn to the point you lean toward the armrest (my husband weighs 170 lbs. … not a big guy) and there’s a mark where my husband’s head meets the back of the seat (like the finish wore off) I contacted the furniture store ( 2 months after the 1 year warranty expired). They refused to do anything! I contacted Ashley. They told me it was up to the store to take care of the issue! I feel like I threw out almost $2400. I will NEVER buy Ashley Furniture again!

Beware Ashley don't have any return or exchange policy… Don't buy from them unless you are 100% sure…They never tell you this upfront until the product is delivered and you are stuck with it… Stay Away from them…

I ordered two Swayback chairs from Ashley online. They were delivered by FedEx who dropped them at the start of my walkway. I received the chairs and they did not include the legs or hardware. I called and was told someone would get back to me within 3 - 5 business days. I received an email a day later that said I will find the legs and hardware under the chairs in a velcroed compartment. I responded to say I had already checked and there were no legs or hardware. 6 days later, after I had sent several more email messages and filed a review on BBB, I received an email that said, "I have contacted the vendor of the item, and they do not wish to return it. You can dispose of the item at your convenience." It is not convenient to dispose of two large chairs!
Turns out the chairs were through a 3rd party distributor which I was totally unaware of, and the only way to contact Ashley is through email. When you call the number, they just tell you someone will get back to you and they can not provide a number and they will not call you, all communication is through email. This is terrible customer service. I will never ever ever shop at Ashley Furniture again.

Your ID is checked for fraud, put on file, and photocopied. Wasn’t told about the last two things which I have an issue with. So my bf used his. (Identity theft/data breaches) They wrote my debit card info on paper. When I called later on asking for a letter that my info can be deleted the manager Marty said she can’t talk to me because I’m not on the order. I asked for her supervisor and the owners contact info and she refused to provide that. My bf asked and she refused to give it to him and it’s his order. After that she asked if we wanted a refund (it’s a joint account. We said yes after the customer service we are experiencing.) Keep in mind we did not ask for the refund, she offered it. She stated to bring our card in person. WE said we would be on the way. At no time were either one of us told that anyone wasn’t allowed in the store.
When we got there the card was presented and I asked a question about their refund policy if we had gone through with everything; “so how does the owner thank people when you get your refund?”. (This is an actual thing it’s not meant to be smart). 3 employees were sitting there so any one of them could’ve answered. Marty responded “okay you’re here by trespassing so I’m going to need you to exit immediately in ******** County. “ I asked what for and didn’t get an answer. I got the keys from my bf and went to the car.
The store is in the City but the lady said County which was weird. My bf comes out stating Marty was making comments on our relationship and finances which is completely inappropriate. My bf states Marty proceeded to tell him her brother (or some family member) is a Sheriff in the County and he will come down to arrest anyone. So basically she just attempted to intimidate us with her family member that works in law enforcement, she refunded us because she did not want to deal with giving any type of resolution, and she will “trespass” people if you do anything she doesn’t feel like dealing with.
This store has zero customer service. This store needs to be investigated if customers are being trespassed for no valid reason and being threatened by the manager's family members. Marty cost the store a same day $3000k sale. I am starting to think my bf and I were profiled because of the fraud story they were telling us about and we were followed ever since we were in the store. There were two girls that came in after us and no one bothered them or followed them.

If I could rate them them less than one, I would have. We've had trouble with them before but they've solved those problems. This time was the final straw. Bought a sleeper sofa less that two years ago. Bought the extended fabric warranty. Now the seams are opening up and it's not covered. Big runaround, hours on the phone only to be told that if we had punctured the fabric, it would have been covered but bad workmanship is not covered. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Purchased a $5000 3 piece sectional couch with ottoman from Ashley Homestore. Upon delivery, 2 of the 3 sections were damaged. One piece, they took back and have been waiting for it to be delivered. The second piece, the arm chair on the left side had a slit in the material. They sent a piece of material and told me a service person would come to my home and sew on the new part. They offered me a $100 gift card for compensation. What a joke! I have purchased a lot of my new furniture from this company but never again. I am so disappointed and would not recommend.

We spent several days visiting 5 different furniture stores including Ashley Furniture. At each store we spoke to a sales clerk and asked detailed questions. Our first visit to Ashley Furniture we documented the sale price of $1099 for the sofa, and $849 for the recliner chair. Once we decided on the qty (2 sofas and one chair) we asked the sales person if they had any deals beyond the sale price... She (Yolanda) said yes if paying cash vs financing. Simple math: $3,047 before tax and delivery. We noted that price and drove to our preferred store (Rooms to Go) for comparison pricing. We returned to Ashley and asked them to "write it up"... The sales person came back and said, "I can give you a 25% discount offer regular price..." We thought "great"... Wrong. Final offer was $4,750. That's $1,700 over sales price.
We drilled down line item by line item to figure out how she could come to that number. Well first off she added a $750 warranty that she said is required if you want a discount price. Then she added $349 for delivery (this was the highest delivery price when compared to all other furniture stores in the same area). We said we don't want the extended warranty and simply wish to buy at the marked and displayed price of $3,047 plus tax and shipping. She said we could not buy as marked for that prices and the best they could do was over the marked price because she can't sell me three items at the marked discount (only two). I said, "Can I buy two items and my wife buys one..." They discussed and said yes. New price... Still over the listed and marked price. Total scam.. We walked out and bought a higher price set (and certainly higher quality from Rooms to Go). I will NEVER walk in an Ashley Furniture store again.

The worst decision I ever made was to buy a table from Ashley Furniture. I paid in full for this table over a month ago and still don't have it. Instead, they delivered the wrong table. I have contacted them several times, been in to the store and I can't get anyone that will actually take responsibility and resolve this problem. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE EVER. They have horrible customer service and you can never get them on the phone.

Purchased several clearance items immediately before the Burlington Ashley Homestore closed for the evening on October 28. They were scheduled for delivery on November 1. The day before delivery, my wife unfortunately changed her mind about one of the pieces, and called Ashley customer service hoping they could help. The representative (a nice woman) advised that normally clearance items are not able to be refunded, but if it had not been loaded onto the delivery truck then they could make an exception because it is still "pre-possession", and stop it from being loaded, and cancel it and refund us. After a short time, she called back and confirmed it had not been loaded yet, it was cancelled, and the billing team would refund. We were happy Ashley customer service team were reasonable and relieved it would not be an issue going forward. Or so we thought.
Nov 1 delivery came, and the cancelled piece was not part of it, as expected. We proceeded to buy a similar (more suitable) piece from another seller, and more pieces from Ashley (two other locations) because of our positive experience in which Ashley Homestore was willing to help us on this. Nov 4 in the morning I get an unexpected call from Ashley, and it is a guy who says "so what do you want done with this piece?" I advise that it was already refunded, and he says "it's cancelled?!?" I said yes, the order and delivery was cancelled and was refunded, as per our previous phone call. He says "oh ok, it wasn't marked as cancelled. I'll do that now. Billing team will be in touch about the refund." I was surprised because I thought the refund had already occurred, so after the call I checked and sure enough there was no chargeback on the credit card yet.
Nearly two business days later (Nov 5 near end of day), my wife called them back because I had not heard from the billing team as advised, and there was still no credit. Happened to talk to the same guy. He again tells us the billing team would be contacting me, but wouldn't give a timeline that I asked for (because it had been nearly 2 days already).
Three days after that (Nov 8) I decide to follow up via their website chat support, because it seems like nothing gets resolved over the phone. Their website has a "Chat Now" next to the phone number, but when you click on it absolutely nothing happens. So I call the number. This time it was a different guy. I said I was following up on a cancelled item, and he pulls up my info and tells me that it is a clearance item so it cannot be cancelled. I explained that it was a pre-possession cancellation, but he says he doesn't see anything indicating that in his system. I told him we cancelled it on Oct 30 (in error, I just knew it was before Nov 1 when the delivery came), and he says no the earliest thing they have in the system indicates I was called on Nov 4.
He asks me who I talked to on Oct 30, I said I don't know her name. He says if I don't know who we talked to, and there is nothing in his system, there is nothing he can do. I pushed further, and said "so you don't have any record of anything happening before Nov 4?" and he says "it says here that you called in on Oct 31, not Oct 30". I corrected myself and said yes, not Oct 30 then, it was Oct 31, sure. Irrelevant because it was still pre-possession and no inconvenience to Ashley because it wasn't even loaded for delivery yet at the time, which was why the woman agreed to do the refund. He says "but you don't know who you talked to?" I said, "Yes, since you know about that phone call now, I know exactly who we talked to - it was the person that was on the phone with us during that logged call that you claimed you had no record of earlier in this conversation!"
I asked offhand how much longer was it going to be before we were contacted to resolve this, since it had already been about 9 days since the original cancellation of the order, and he says "it's just me and one other guy, and it is on my list, so probably later today". Riiigght. I'm so sure that after 9 days (or even 5 from their perspective) that when I called you right before end of day you were literally seconds away from calling me, when the call I was supposedly waiting for was "the billing team". This guy then said the only thing he could do was issue store credit. I would have been totally fine with store credit 10 days earlier, because I had spent that amount twice over since then. Now, after this fiasco, I never want to shop there again, but I HAVE TO unless I want to just throw that money away.
So my conclusion was that these two guys just leave people hanging until they call in to force the issue, telling people that they will get a call back that will never come, when they can (and should) resolve the issue on the spot. And they lie about the issue history so it is more convenient for deflecting responsibility. They sure as hell must know who the woman was that we initially talked to - their system does have a log of the calls. No idea whether she was nice but incompetent (didn't cancel or refund) or fake nice and just setting these guys up for plausible deniability, but it doesn't matter. Either way this is a black eye for Ashley customer service and is deplorable. Oh yeah, forgot to mention - we overpaid for delivery because the piece in question put us into a different delivery price bracket, but the actual delivery obviously excluded that piece. They didn't even think to square that up as a customer service gesture.
Follow up: while writing this summary, I got a call from Ashley because they saw a "reselection" status on my account. I explain what happened, and he advised me to contact Ashley Customer Service about it, and get them to refund instead of having as "reselection" (which is essentially store credit - he is probably a sales guy and wants to make the commission on whatever we spend that credit on). The nerve, to tell me that what I need to do is reach out to customer service to resolve, when (up to this point) customer service ONLY reached out to me when they had a piece that they thought they needed to deliver. I am not going to call them back for a fourth time asking them to refund me when that is what I was told would happen the very first time and had been refused as recently as a few hours ago.

Beware: DO NOT PURCHASE FROM Ashley’s furniture! From start to finish it’s been a headache. They sent our furniture on 8/13/24. The loveseat recliner start malfunctioning in October 2024. Given the run around about a claim for warranty we have on it, canceled our claim without informing us, oh let’s not fail to mention tried to offer us $120 GCard to keep it as is when we spent $2500.00 on the set. Managers not help. Have had to call every between 11/4-11/8! I have filed a complaint with the BBB, and we are taking legal action! They should be ashamed the way they treat customers and for furniture not well put together. Associates in the store unprofessional and rude, phone associates don’t document anything and manager was nonchalant!

I bought 6 chairs and a bench. When we finally got to the new house I double checked my measurements and the room was too small. Lesson learned - don't buy furniture until you can double check the room size. In order to return the items it will cost me $742.00 via FedEx and the refund is $842.00. Obviously not returning, what a racket. There is a store 5 miles from me and I cannot return the items there. Such an awful experience, now I am stuck with these items and out $842.00.

We ordered a table with 4 chairs and a bench and 2 beds with 1 mattress. In 2 weeks the table and chairs, mattress and 1 bed showed up. 2 weeks later some of the other bed showed up and the bench. 4 weeks later more of the bed showed up. It's Nov. Still not complete, I was told today they missed a piece. It will be another 2 1/2 weeks plus another $300.00. I told them to come pick up the bed. They didn't care. Horrible customer service. Will never shop Hagerstown store again. 3 trips to deliver not completed. One pissed off customer. How Sad.

Do not buy from Ashley. They have the worst customer service and will not help you! I ordered a couch in August and still do not have it! They lie about delivery dates. And no one reaches out to you! I have never experienced anything like this. Save your time and energy. Bob's is better than they are.

Hi, Everyone, Please take my advice when you try to purchase from Ashley. They are many traps. I spent more than $5,000 to bought a sofa in Ashley store in 2015, the salesperson James also suggested to purchase 5 yeas $400+tax warranty. He also told me that if the warranty is not used for 5 years, I will get full store credits that I can use for next purchase. I went to Ashley store a couple days ago (definitely after 5 years), and tried to purchase while claiming. But the store refused to offer me credits, so I had to reached the customer service by phone, I was told that my credit is no longer available because I only have 180 days to claim the credits after warranty expired.
I am very angry and shocked because I have never been told about this 180 days claim policy. And I even check the receipt, there is no single words related to this policy. Luckily I still have the business card from that salesperson James. He also told me that he has never been told about the 180 days claim policy when he works in Ashley. He assumed this policy must be new after he left Ashley about a few years ago. As a customer, I feel being cheated, and also been fooled by Ashley store. They are definitely not a honest company, but a scam and tricks.

I purchased a sectional couch 2/2023. Delivered in 3/2023. I called recliner broken 4/2024 because over warranty by 1 month Had to used 5 year warranty company. It is 11/2024. Couch still broken and material is now buckling. Not acceptable. Again they will call me back. I purchased through Ashley because I felt reputable company. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

Bought a high-end living room set with the upgraded leather and motors for leg rest. Motors have all burned up within two years and they have no one to service them or to even recommend. Their customer support is among the worst I’ve ever seen. Can’t reach anyone by phone. You have to go to the store in person just to be told they can’t help or refer you to a repairman. I will never buy anything for them again and would warn anyone else not to as well.

I bought a queen platform bed from Ashley Furniture. The bed was put together without the support beams. My daughter was unable to use the bed due to the boards cracking from not being supported. I contacted Ashley furniture and they sent a technician out, he confirmed that the bed was missing the support beams. The technician stated that I would have the replacement parts in no later than three weeks. That was mid August. Fast forward two weeks ago, I went into the Ashley store and let them know that my replacement parts still had not come in and that and I have been left with an unusable bed for almost three months. They went in the system and saw that the parts were on back order. They contacted the service department and stated they would get back to me in a couple of days.
Last Tuesday I was contacted by the service department. They left a voicemail stating that they placed a bed on order. The agent stated that whichever came in first the parts or the bed, would be what they would use to rectify my situation. So, I called back because they still did not give me a date when the bed or parts would be in. I was met with the EXTREMELY RUDE AND ARROGANT service representative who basically told me that the parts and the bed was on back order and I would just have to wait. Disregard the fact that I paid almost $900 for something I cannot use.
After, going back and forth she rudely stated that I don’t have to keep the bed. So, I asked them to come pick the bed up which they scheduled without even asking me if it was okay for them to come pick up the bed on that day and time. So, last Friday, they came and retrieved the bed. The men were very nice. They asked why was I giving the bed back, I told him the situation. He called a manager. He asked the manager to call me so we could discuss the issue further. A manager NEVER called. I have been a faithful Ashley furniture customer. I have spent thousands at their store. I will not ever purchase anything else with them again.

We were looking for a new living room set. We decided on purchasing a set and it was delivered to our home and set up as promised. After sitting in the couches for a few weeks we decided they were uncomfortable, did not fit well in our space and wanted to return them. The people that set up our couch had left a power chord around a metal piece in the couch which caused the wire to be exposed and shorted out the couch. We were told by the repairman that he was surprised we didn’t get electrocuted.
After returning to the store to see if we could return and exchange the couches, we were given the run around for a week and when we finally caught the manager in the store we were rudely told no exchanges or refunds. If you do decide to purchase from these crooks, remember, if you have any problems or issues with your purchase, you will not be helped and there will not be a resolution for you. There are so many forums and social media accounts with worse things that have happened. Buyer beware!!!!

Bought a new couch. When it was delivered, it had defects on it and I called the same day a week later, they sent out a technician, said they would have to order parts to replace the whole couch, except for one side of couch. When the parts are delivered they will send out another technician to put it all together. So I went to the store to complain and they said that's all they can do. I asked to speak to the manager. He was too busy to talk to me. As he was talking to his employees and when I confronted him he said he did not know. I wanted to talk to him but his other worker told him that I was waiting on him and he said he did not know that. Which was a lie I would never do business again with them at the long beach town center in california. They were very rude and so they could not replace the couch So I have to wait for the technician to come here and rebuild my couch. Very rude people that work there.

Our experience as a shopper was pleasant and handled very well. We chose a dining set and server we loved. We waited a month for it to be delivered. The delivery team was great and took great care. We noticed a piece of trim was popped up on top of our server that needs a repair. I have made four calls to Ashley to be put through this process of filing a claim online to have someone contact us to make an appointment. The person simply can’t do this when you call. It has failed each time. I then talked to a helpful person that finally set me up with a text service that I completed and was informed someone would text me back soon from a provided number to schedule the repair. Again they never did. It’s a repair that they just don’t want to stand behind. Keep this in mind before you go to Ashley. I won’t be back!

I bought 2 Herstow Swivel Glider Chairs for my wife and I. It took over a month to receive only one of the chairs. They have rescheduled the second chair 6 times, and still NO CHAIR. This is the worst furniture company I have ever dealt with. They will schedule a delivery date and the evening before delivery they will call you to reschedule. There is zero customer service. Please do not buy from them, you will be sorry, as we sit here still waiting for the chair!!

Ashley does not stand behind the products, foot board breaks to where the bed is unusable. Repaired bed so mattress was not lying on the ground. Ashley customer support is unwilling to issue a replacement due to a temp repair on the footboard. Steer clear of junk furniture provided by Ashley. Furniture falls apart, stand behind the warranty you provide and stand behind your crappy products.

Very disappointed with Ashley's customer service. I bought an accent chair. Ashley was unable to provide anything beyond a rough estimate of delivery until just before delivery. The chair arrived and it had an chemical odor reminiscent of a skunk. I decided to give it some time to see if it would dissipate. After it didn't I called customer service. They asked for pictures of the problem. I told them I couldn't photograph a smell. They continued to insist so I sent them photos of the chair. They refused to take any action and said that if it wasn't reported within 72 hours they would not do anything. Very poor customer service. Do yourself a favor and shop at Havertys.

If you have pets do NOT purchase furniture here. If you have any warranty issues and they are unable to fix the furniture they will NOT exchange furniture that was around a pet. Even if you have Stanley Steemer (at YOUR cost) clean it, it doesn’t guarantee an exchange. You will be stuck with a broken furniture as we are. Used 1.5 months before our youngest daughter (65lbs) sat down and went through the seat deck (twice) and a beam is broken. They still demand we pay the furniture off as well.

I had a terrible experience with Ashley Furniture. I recently purchased a mattress, and when I tried to exchange it, their customer service was extremely rude and unhelpful. They refused to assist me with the exchange and showed no concern for resolving the issue. The attitude of the staff was unacceptable, and after this experience, I’ve decided not to purchase anything from them again. I strongly recommend avoiding this store — save your money and spend it elsewhere where customer service actually matters. Never again at this store.

I ordered a dining room table with 6 matching chairs. Upon receiving the table, I discovered it was cracked in several places. Ashley promptly sent a second table. It too was cracked upon delivery. A third table was sent that was also cracked in several places. I was left with 6 chairs and no table to match. I requested a full refund and was informed since I had not contacted them within 72 hours, I would not be receiving a refund. I explained I had contacted them within 72 hours of receiving the first broken table. The associate placed me on hold several times for nearly an hour while reviewing my account. I had provided pictures of the damage areas each time the table was sent. I advise all to stay away from Ashley Furniture. Not only is their furniture poorly made and poorly packaged their customer service is totally unsatisfactory.

I purchased a leather sofa and a sleeper sofa from Ashley Furniture in June 2024, and it was delivered in the same month. Within a week or ten days after delivery, I discovered a cut on the left arm of the sleeper sofa. I contacted customer service to report the issue, and they ordered a replacement part. However, it took almost a month for a technician to arrive, only for him to discover they had ordered the wrong part.
After another month of waiting, the technician returned but said he needed more time and couldn't fix it that day. Three weeks later, he finally came back to replace the part, only to tell me that the replacement left arm was loose and looked worse than the original damage. Even the technician acknowledged this and said he would write a report to Ashley. Despite this, customer service confirmed (by Alexis) that the technician wrote the report and requested new photos. Today, I received an email saying they are closing my case because the damaged part has been replaced, which is completely unacceptable.
For such a large company, this was an incredibly disappointing experience. I paid the full amount for new furniture and was subjected to months of delays and poor service. I asked for a replacement or a refund since the sofa was new and damaged on arrival, but they refused, stating it wasn’t their policy unless the technician said it couldn’t be repaired. I was planning to buy more furniture, but after this ordeal, I will never purchase from Ashley again and would advise others to stay away. Very poor customer service and quality control.

Buyer beware! Purchased a sofa, love seat, chair and ottoman. On delivery ottoman arrived broken. Immediately called customer care and were asked for pictures. All done within ten minutes of delivery. We were advised that anything after delivery - even delivered BROKEN must go through warranty? Spoke to Wendy from customer care who did her best to be as rude and unhelpful as possible. After a frustrating conversation was passed to her manager James? Jason? Who was the most rued “customer care” person I have ever spoken to. He claimed we would have to wait until a furniture repair person was available (over a month) to have our ottoman looked at?!
After arguing and refusing this he finally relented saying he would make an exception and have it replaced… BUT If the second one showed up broken we would have to go through warranty?!?! What?! This is their policy?! The furniture is beautiful. Very happy with it and the replacement. But the fact that we had to fight and argue to simply receive what we paid for?! I do NOT complain. EVER. I own a business and never want to blast someone unfairly. If this is Ashley’s policy this should be known! The ottoman was the smallest part of our order and if they had dealt with us fairly and replaced it we would have been ok waiting the extra few weeks for replacement. But the rude behaviour by their customer care department. Red flag! Beware!

Terrible experience. Would never recommend this store to anyone purchased a flex steel sofa in July supposed to have been delivered in 6 to 8 weeks. Now 12 weeks out. No explanation from the store as to why. No updates on delivery. I have been calling the store for five straight days leaving messages for a callback to cancel the order. No one has ever called. Customer service keeps telling me the manager is not available. Driving there today there today to cancel the order. Will never shop there again. Strongly suggest that no one else does either.

DISAPPOINTED is even an understatement with my experience from Ashley Furniture's delivery and assembly. Timeline: 10/3/24, bedroom suit was delivered and the hardware to the bed was missing pieces to assemble. We were assured by the delivery person a Karen and some other name were working on locating another assembly kit and would be in touch with me before the end of the day.. The delivery person also assured me someone would come out with the new kit and assemble the bed. I was assured would receive a call in the morning. Also, the mirror was supposed to be attached to the dresser which wasn't done.
Oct 4 - I ended up calling and spoke to a Mariah, who put me on hold to research, got back on the line, placed me on hold again and then hung up on me. I called back, got her again and it was like a whole new phone call and needed all of my information again. I was then provided a ticket number and was told I would receive a call within 24 hours which I never did receive that phone call. I received an AI text asking what I would rate my delivery on a scale of 1-5. I gave it a 2 and explained parts were missing and how terrible the communication has been.
Sat Oct 5 - I received simply a response that a new hardware kit was being shipped and I would receive it in 5 days. Oct 9th - Kit came in but never received a call about scheduling someone to come assemble the bed. ALSO, the kit was sent to my previous address and not the address where the furniture was delivered. Oct 11th, my husband opened the kit to see if it had all the pieces. The kit was missing 21 bolts and 14 nuts. I texted the AI bot back again because I was receiving better communication this way. the reply was I am looking into it and will get back with you. Still.... nothing.... I am at a loss as to how to get this resolved. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH TERRIBLE RESULTS!

Worst experience I have ever had at any business! Purchased $5000 worth of living room furniture, a tv stand, a sectional and a (matching) ottoman. We saw everything in store except for the ottoman which was not on the showroom. We told the salesman (Shad) that we wanted to order that without seeing it because he told us it was a MATCHING ottoman. Let’s just say it is not.
My couch is grey and the ottoman is green. Not only that but it is cover in glue marks from where it had tape all over it. It is actual trash and it cost $370. After numerous calls and emails, I’m told now I have to make a warranty claim to correct it. So I did that and was then told that it was sold As-is so they will not repair, replace or clean it. Nowhere on it does it say as-is or on any of my paperwork. If I can I just want to save anyone else from going through this nightmare I have experienced. Please, please go elsewhere!! I will never shop at an Ashley’s again and will shout it from the rooftops!! They are liars and thieves.

BUYER BEWARE. I purchased a queen size bedroom set (bed, night stand and chest) in November 2024, it was delivered in December 2024 and upon initial inspection everything looked fine with the exception of a small piece of wood that was missing on the chest. Fast forward to last week, 10/4/24, I'm reorganizing my clothes in the chest only to discover a massive crack in the wood at the TOP of the INSIDE of the chest. I also discovered at that time that the backboard of the chest looks like it was never secured properly.
I went to the Ashley store, they told me to call a number and the customer service was in very poor taste to say the least! I am well within my one year manufacturer's warranty but I'm told since it wasn't delivered that way I would need to use my extended warranty that I purchased. How do I know it wasn't delivered that way since I can't see what they're are looking at and more importantly the wood shouldn't be cracking in the manner in which it did. PERIOD! So why aren't they honoring the one year manufacturer's warranty? The customer service people were horrible and just when I thought I found one that seemed helpful, who told me she can get my chest back to showroom quality, she ghosts me.
Angel now doesn't respond to my calls or emails. She told me she would order the parts and have them sent to my house then we would schedule a technician to come out and if he/she couldn't repair it, they would replace it. I was also told the extended warranty covers damage done by the customer. Again, once my chest was placed against a wall, it hasn't moved so how could I put a huge crack at the top INSIDE of the chest??? This just sounds and looks like poor material quality, not customer error. This is the worst experience I have ever had with furniture and I plan to blast this any and everywhere so that people know to never ever purchase anything from Ashley Furniture.

Updated on 10/24/2024: After disputing the order we received a voicemail from Ashely Customer Service from someone named Britney asking us to call back at the 800 number at x-**. After several calls to both the originating number and other numbers including the store, there apparently is no x-** and no one named Britney. I've made every effort to remedy this issue. While waiting on the phone so many times for so long, I've had a chance to google other reviews... and now wish I had done so BEFORE doing business with them! It's apparent Ashley has a widespread systemic problem which has been going on for years. Just absolute non-sense with dealing with this company.
Original Review: Wife and I bought a sofa with rug. Sofa delivery was fine, however the rug wasn't delivered... after several calls, we were told the rug had to be picked up at the store. We drove an hour to the store only to find out that was not the case. The manager couldn't figure out what was going on with the order, so she canceled the order and reordered. More than three weeks passed with no updates. Yesterday I called only to be told there was no open orders associated with my phone number.
After calling the call center, they transferred me to another rep at the store. After minutes, the rep replied that they would have someone call me back within the hour. I never heard back. Tired of calling and trying to resolve this issue. Nearly a month ago when we were having trouble with the original order, we actually had a call from Ashley asking us if we would be okay with the display model at the store, which of course since we bought new, we were not. Called this morning to my cc company to dispute the charge since we never received the item. Just awful customer service experience. Ashely is happy to sell something to you but cannot follow through with an order, especially if there's something wrong.

This review is long overdue, but I can't forget the outstanding assistance I received from Lisa, a manager at the Snellville location of Ashley Furniture. In November 2018, I purchased a Serta adjustable bed for around $5,000, and Ashley Furniture handled the delivery and setup. However, the model I received didn’t include the bed brackets that hold the mattress in place (or so I thought). Over time, I started noticing that newer adjustable beds came with these brackets, and I assumed I might need to upgrade my bed to get them.
When I visited Ashley’s to price a new bed, I explained to Lisa how my bed didn’t have the brackets, which forced me to manually adjust the mattress almost every night, especially when raising the head or foot of the bed. It had been a real inconvenience. To my surprise, Lisa informed me that my bed should have come with the brackets all along. She went above and beyond to look into my purchase history and even pulled up a setup photo from when my bed was delivered. Sure enough, the picture showed that I never received the brackets. Lisa took it upon herself to rectify the situation, and though it took some time, she managed to get the brackets delivered to me—saving me the cost of a new bed!
Considering that five years had passed since my purchase, I was amazed at the level of service and dedication Lisa showed in resolving the issue. The brackets themselves were quite expensive, and her efforts saved me from an unnecessary expense. If Lisa is still with Ashley Furniture, they are incredibly fortunate to have someone like her on their team, who truly cares about customer satisfaction and ensures things are made right. I’m now considering buying more furniture from Ashley, but I wanted to submit this review first to recognize the exceptional service I received. Thank you, Lisa, and thank you, Ashley Furniture!

This was my first experience purchasing from Ashley Furniture, and it will likely be my last. While the sales process was seamless and efficient, I encountered significant issues upon delivery. Two of the side chairs had scratches on their legs, and the two table leaves were also damaged. I refused the items and attempted to contact the store for information regarding the return process. Unfortunately, my calls went unanswered, and messages to sales staff were not returned. After two days of persistent attempts, I finally reached a manager, who informed me that the store does not handle exchanges directly and that I would need to contact customer service for any returns or exchanges.
This has been quite frustrating, as it seems that once the payment is made (we paid cash for the dining set), customer support diminishes significantly. Additionally, I was informed that there was a balance due for exchanging the table leaves, despite them arriving damaged from the warehouse. I am currently working with customer service representatives to resolve this issue. I would advise potential buyers to proceed with caution, as it appears that customer support may be lacking once a purchase is finalized.

I purchased a mattress five months ago and all the seams are tearing apart. I have been dealing with customer service and trying to get them to come out and look at it or replace it for a week now and they always have an excuse as to why they don’t return calls, you can only do things through email, I send the pictures they want and they’re not good enough and would like more. It is ridiculous and plain to see the mattress is falling apart when you pay $2000.05 months ago you should be able to get help in customer service on a phone and not through email only, still waiting to have this issue resolved with no help.

Buyer Beware! I purchased my leather couch, chair, and coffee table from this Woodbridge, VA location in July. I was told by the sales associate, Juan ** that everything will be delivered in a of couple weeks except the coffee table. Juan said that the coffee table is a back order but it should be delivered within a few weeks. I had been waiting for the coffee table until the mid August with no updates. I called Juan a few times and texted a couple time with no answer.
He finally answered his phone in late August and told me that the coffee table would not be available until October. He did not inform me this information when I made a purchase. I told him that I can’t wait that long and asked if he can cancel the order for me, which he said yes. To my surprise, the store called me today (10/07/24) and asked me when I would like the order to be delivered. I told the lady (Latik) that my order supposed to be canceled per Juan, but she said “No”. She refused to help me fix this issue and told me to call a 3rd party company. I asked to speak with the Store Manager, Ahmed ** but was told that he was busy. I called the 3rd party company at 3am but the company is closed. I am now stuck with the coffee table that I have no need, I do not know what to do at this point. The coffee table is about $500 plus delivery fee. I will not recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone. Such a BIG FAT LIAR!!!

3 grand bedroom set all made in vietnam, mattress foundation wasn't what I wanted, a low one due to a bad back, and knees which they knew, when delivered and set up it was a 12 inch, not the 5 I wanted, salesman did not state he was ordering it, just gave me a big pile of paperwork to sign, on a tablet that without reading glasses I couldn't read. They don't take back foundations so I'm screwed.

I have never had a worse experience buying a product online. I purchased an expensive bed in August with a mattress included, and paid extra for "No-hassle delivery and assembly." We chose a delivery date weeks away, so we could be home. Days later, boxes appeared outside the door of a 94 year old woman, left by FedEx. When I called, Ashley said the bed frame would not be assembled, and only the mattress (arriving later) would be "assembled", even though rep agreed that did not make sense. We had to pay outside to have the bed assembled. Now 2 months later, the mattress has never been delivered. I get messages from the warehouse that they do not yet have a mattress, with unreliable estimations of delivery. The reps I talk to are not helpful and could not take off the extra fees for "assembly."
In the end, I cancelled the order. I wasted lots of time with untrained phone staff and even went to an Ashley store, which said they have nothing to do with the online store, knew there were problems, and could not explain better or help resolve the problem. The bed frame was fine, but we had to pay to assemble. The service was not reliable, I felt overcharged for services not received and the communication was not clear.

I prefer a bed, chest and a nightstand the end of August 26th to be exact. It was to be delivered on September 14. Today is October 2, not 1 time has anyone called, reached out other than emailing my sales order after each call. Spoke with 2 store managers, male and female, no resolve, sales representative never called, nothing. Their customer service is not what it used to be. I currently have a bedroom set, all wood for over 29 years, in great condition. But this is not a good experience when you spending money. I’m going to cancel by their latest date of the 9th. Outraged and not even offered a discount for the trouble, a coupon or anything. Disappointed.

I had a deeply disappointing experience with Ashley Furniture Canada (Heartland, Mavis Road). My order of a Bed Cadmori and nightstand arrived with significant issues. The bed headboard showed clear signs of previous use, including black marks and scratches. The nightstand's built-in charger was non-functional. When I reported these problems, customer service was unhelpful, refusing to take action and citing an unreasonable 48-hour reporting window. They dismissed the bed's issues as mere "cosmetic changes". The wait time for repairing the nightstand was excessively long at over a month. This level of service is unacceptable for new, paid-for furniture. I strongly advise caution when considering purchases from Ashley Furniture Canada based on my experience.

I purchased a dining set on September 8 2024 from the new Daytona location. The first delivery date was rescheduled due to the hurricane. It was delivered on Sunday Sept 29 but the table leaf was damaged. Customer service said they would repair it. I stated no, it should be replaced. So the delivery team took the entire table back not just the leaf. Cust service called and said we would be contacted with a new delivery date. No one called. I called them and was told I had to wait until Oct 10th now- during the call I received an email stating there was a “snag” and I would need to call and reschedule. What on earth does that mean? A snag? I paid for a dining set and have no table. Poor poor customer service. You can see the email dated today just a few minutes ago as well as the error message to call them back.

I have a $1,200 electric reclining chair purchased August 2023. Called the Prescott AZ store 27 Sept 2024 and they simply laughed at me. It appears the chair is 33 days out of warranty. No mention is given as to a manufacturing defect. The arm rests which are twisted to make it cover the curved arm chair ends are tearing open at NLT 5 points. All I can say is never buy from this firm. Maybe if they go out of business we will be ahead of the game. By the way when they were going to have me talk to a manager I got hung up on. They also asked if I want to take a survey as to my experience just wait after my conversation. No such surgery. Called their corporate offices and the response was not better and their attitude sucks. Major USAF (R).

Please check out Ashley furniture reviews on the better business bureau (BBB) and search for the groups on Facebook that have horrible service and issues with Ashley. This is an absolute horrible organization and even worse quality in their products. You will regret buying from them! Once you buy and it’s delivered to your home you are stuck with it no matter what. Don’t buy the extended warranty because they do not honor it!! All around horrible experience. We decided to buy one of your dressers, which you delivered late and delivered the wrong dresser. At this point we decided to call customer service, to which they responded "we will get back to you about the wrong dresser delivered". Three days go by and we haven't heard back, had to call customer service again and they said they would exchange the order in a couple of weeks and they would call us back with an exchange date. Again no word from customer service for 2 weeks! I went to your store in Avon, MA where we originally bought the dresser and found out customer service had cancelled our order and started the process of a refund; when customer service clearly stated they would exchange the order. The store and Avon admitted that they never had that dresser in stock and took our money anyway.
So at the Avon store cleared up the exchange and it was agreed that when the dresser was in stock we could exchange, that was all fine. Delivery day comes and Ashley emails and calls saying the exchange will take place between a window of 3-7pm. The delivery didn't show up until 10pm. All around horrible customer service and delivery service. Didn't even open the box yet because if the wrong order again I'm getting a refund and I will definitely never be shopping here again.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Bought an outside sectional sofa. Feet are plastic and one cracked and broke off in the first 13 months. I had bought the warranty which is good for 5 years - what a joke, doesn't cover plastic. Do not recommend this company at all as the sales agent said the sofa would be FULLY covered for 5 years. Purchased a leather sleeper sofa. When it was delivered we noticed a cut in the leather. The delivery team took a picture and told us customer service would contact us to see if we wanted it replaced. Customer service called and told us since we accepted it we could not get it replaced only repaired. We questioned it with the store manager telling him we were not given the option to reject the delivery. He did not care. That is the policy. No offer to exchange or reduce the price. We are stuck with an expensive damaged leather sofa. We definitely will never step in their store and recommend everyone beware of this poor customer care company.

I am very disappointed with their service and product assembly. I ordered furniture on August 8th, and by today, I had to reject those for the third time due to chips and the wrong assembly. The warehouse is reacting to the customer's comments and sending defective pieces again and again. It is not worth the time and money you pay for it.

If I could leave a zero, I would. Recently purchased a dinette set, which is very nice, with 4 chairs and a bench seat. Delivery took about a week and unfortunately 2 of the chairs looked like a 2 year old put them together. Went to the local Ashley store and was told they couldn't do anything about it and to call customer service. 2 hours later on the phone they indicated that they would have to order parts and then send a tech out to fix them. Couldn't just replace them 1 for 1. 3 weeks later and still haven't heard a word.

I purchased a Selena electronic sectional. I have had nothing but problems with it. They didn't send me the cord to plug in the couch for months. Said it could take 6 months to get it. A year almost exactly later, the electronic recliners stopped working as well charge ports. It was $3500. Although the couch is pretty it's a lemon. Don't buy this couch. To get it repaired is got to be hundreds of dollars. I may have to replace an recliner all together! It's poor quality. Cheaply made. It doesn't even stay connected together. The couch pieces constantly come apart.

We visited the Ashley Columbia, MO store on July 28, 2024. Order #: **. They delivered the couch on August 6, 2024. The couch they attempted to deliver was Broken, yet they still tried to deliver it. We refused the delivery. We agreed to a second delivery attempt. The couch was delivered on August 12, 2024. The delivery team showed us that it was damaged. However, that evening, we discovered the inside frame or supports are damaged. We reported the damage the next day.
They told us they could send a replacement again, on August 17, 2024. Again, the third delivery was broken. August 21, 2024, they tried again and failed us. After 4 attempts, they failed the Sales Contract. We have given them plenty of opportunities to deliver new and undamaged furniture. Not once have they been able to deliver such item. We immediately demanded a Full Refund due to their Breach of Contract and Failure. After weeks of sending emails, phone calls and store visits you are ignoring us and our legal rights. They failed our Contract, 4 times, and once we demanded a Full Refund.

I purchased over $6000 worth of items and was given a delivery date. The date came and no contact from Ashley with a time range for delivery. I called and was told the delivery is on back order and will not be delivered for another 4 weeks plus. I was told it was computer glitch. Was also told they were working with the warehouse to get some of the items ASAP. When the items were purchased they were available. The issue is I was not contacted about the delays in delivery. No communication at all. My kids and I have been sleeping on the floor waiting on the furniture.

We had a such bad experience, when we bought our stuff, we where told it will take from 2 to 4 weeks for deliver, it took about 6 months, base on time frame to deliver we got rid of old stuff, we had all our stuff in cardboard boxes. Our mattress on the floor. And to keep the peace we is they gives us some gifts cards, when we went to used at the store, surprise, there aren’t not good.

We purchased a sofa, waited a week for it to show up to our home, and the wrong sofa configuration was delivered due to the incompetence of the saleswoman who only worked there for less than a week. I called the company to let them know it was wrong, after calling a dozen different Ashley Furniture numbers trying desperately to get a hold of a person. Once I finally spoke to a representative she told me they can't do anything about it today. I asked, "So when can I expect the correct order to be delivered?" She said she didn't know. I asked to speak to a manager and she said no, and hung up on me!!
How on earth is any of this okay?? They took over a thousand dollars from us only to have given us what we didn't want, and then offer zero help and zero information in return. I can't imagine a worse customer service experience from a big ugly name like Ashley Furniture. Their company is trash, their employees are incompetent, and their products are cheap garbage.

Purchased a bedroom set & Dining Room set (Mango wood) from Ashley Furniture. During this time, we discussed purchasing the same type of wood in a dining room to simplify our house design. At first, they were wonderful up and until receipt of the product. We were having issues with the bedroom chest and end table, as there were flaws in the wood and we tried to work through this with the online guest care. I really hate the fact that you cannot talk to an actual person on multiple tries, so this really turned me off of this system they use. Countless efforts and delays on their end to make a decision either to returned for crediting my account.
I had to put a complaint into the BBB as the product was under warranty and for some reason they were not going to grant warranty on the product. This went on for a month or so, with trying to get some sort of decision on what was next. Finally they agreed to replace the chest and though they messed up the deliver time, and then I had to take a day off to receive this exchange. The finishing of the chest was not acceptable and even the deliver driver said he would not accept this chest. The end table was acceptable, as that was also being exchanged. The BBB indicated they have done what they can do and I was okay with that, as they did help, now it was on me and my standards of paying for something and being disappointed with the finishings.
During all of this guest care (possibly this is contracted to a call center) should be removed and Ashley should hire their own staff as I was disconnect multiple times when I questioned what they were saying. So for now, I will NEVER purchase anything from this company or any other associated company that they own. I rather go to a local company who cares and will do anything to retain your business, especially when you spend a ton of money with them. We have spent over 12K with them and any further purchases will not be with them. As of right now, I have sent another email asking to credit my account for this chest, as I am completely turned off and would purchase another chest from another company, as I do not want to even think about doing this again.

This is the worst store to TRY to buy furniture from. The staff and customer service are absolutely horrific. There is a lack of respect and knowledge for anything or anyone in that store. My son purchased a queen size bed for me October 16, 2023. Last month (August 2024), part of the headboard split at the bottom where the rail connects to the headboard. Ashley Furniture stated that the bed is no longer under the warranty period (the young lady refused to tell me the warranty period) therefore it is nothing Ashley Furniture can or will do about the bed. Even an offer of a discount on another bed would have been something in good customer service. A bed should last longer than 9 months. They offered no options!?! Extremely disappointed and will spend my money elsewhere. Don't buy at Ashley Furniture.

Contacted Customer service for my mattress which I bought for 2200 CAD. The mattress start to sag and pumping up and down. They said for sagging should be accepted for warranty when surface level compressed to 1.5 inch, and for pumping issue just said it is not manufacturing warranty and declined my claim without proper investigation and physical inspection. Buying from Ashley is a bad experience from delivery to customer service.

I recently purchased 3 items from Ashley Furniture. The store associate Kirsten at the Vernon Hills location (who no longer works there) sold me the "White Glove Service" and clarified that the furniture would come assembled/built upon delivery. She also told me after they built it, I could refuse the item and they would take it away then. The furniture gets delivered in a box and I'm told they do not build this type of furniture and that once I accept it, I cannot return it without a store credit. Customer service said this service means they'll place the box in the room, but not build it. I spoke to Angel ** in escalations who told me she would call me back, but never did. Double-check when purchasing White Glove Service that your furniture qualifies, because some associates may just be trying to make a sale. The manager at Vernon Hills ended up being very helpful with this situation.

Updated on 9/26/2024: I had written a review last week, I was very upset, by being charged 189.99 for furniture protection that I did not agree to! I called on the 17th of September and the individual I spoke with said the money would go back into my account in 7 to 10 days. I called this morning, and they have not even begun to send my money back stating I had to call another department. Had I not called, that money would never be refunded as the individual I spoke with on the 17th said it would take 7 to 10 days for the refund!! Still, they cannot take care of this issue, without me spending more time on hold and making numerous phone calls, terrible customer service. This is not ok.
Original review: I just moved to the area and needed new furniture. I bought a sofa, desk and chair, and some wall art. I was told this would all be delivered on a Saturday as I work. The charged me 189.99 for furniture protection, which I did not ask for, nor was it offered. Also, I was assured the wall art would come when the furniture was delivered. They lied they are shipping it out by a third party, it is scheduled to arrive when I will be at work, thus I won't be here to get it, that was 104.49. The total cost was 1,938.90. Very dishonest! They do not answer the phone, and they lied to me about the delivery. I do not recommend this business, I feel scammed!

Ashley furniture is a terrible company. Their furniture is cheap and not worth it. And don’t even bother with the 5 year extended warranty they offer at check out because they DO NOT fulfill this. I sent proof of purchase of my warranty from their own website, and they told me there is no record of it and they only offer a 1 year warranty. Bull crap! I purchased an ottoman with my couch as well and it had the same delivery date as my couch, yet when it never showed with my couch, they said it was on back order and that it would have said it at checkout, which it did not. It came a year later. Do not waste your time or your money with this company. Only giving a 1 star because it’s required. But this is definitely a 0 star review!!

I purchased a mattress online from Ashley…was reeled in by the promo of saving $50 off my order. Turns out you have to spend a big chunk of money before you get $50 off. That should have steered my away, but I went ahead and ordered. Mattress was delivered on August 29. Since then, we decide we want a bigger bed and no longer need the twin mattress. Box has never been opened. I contact customer service and after 20 minutes of back and forth filling out info and sending pics, they say it’s over 72 hours and can no longer be returned. I ask them where is this policy. They send a link. It does say 72 hours to notify of any damaged items, but my item is not damaged. It ALSO says if not completely satisfied return within 30 days. It is within 30 days. I’d like my return! They kept repeating the 72 hour deadline has passed. I don’t know where else to go to get this taken care of. I will never shop at Ashley again.

Do not finance with them- they told me 0% but once it was paid by financing they used, I was charged interest rate. Tried several times and called store numerous times to have it fixed! Always told someone will call me back! Never heard back so I paid it off 2 months later so I didn’t have to pay any more finance charges!! I had to drive 45 mins to a store because I was told over the phone that I couldn’t place an order online. Once I got there, they had nothing in stock I wanted and I asked for similar stuff and there was nothing similar. I went ahead and ordered. The lady at who did the sale said I would get 0% financing for 12 months! Which turned out untrue... and trying to get them to reverse it was impossible.

Unfortunately, I had the displeasure of buying a bed for my daughter here. The purchasing experience was great, however, the bed set which was paid cash for no financing was delivered damaged. The transportation/delivery guy told us the furniture was damaged and missing parts. They took it back. My daughter has to sleep on an air mattress as we wait another 2 and 1/2 weeks for the furniture to be redelivered. We are still waiting. After several calls to Ashley (Buford GA,), there was no attempt to help, no compensation to cover the cost of the delivery, nothing! Not even a lamp for good measure. As my daughter still waits for her bedroom set, I wanted others to know of our experience and make them aware. DON'T GO TO ASHLEY FURNITURE!!!! Buyer beware!! 1st time & last time customer!!!!! You get 0 stars for NOT providing premier service and support. BAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE!!!!!

Bought a Sofa/Love Seat. The love seat backs tilt and seats slant to the outside. In contacting Folk Homecenter I was assured they would address the problem as soon as her personal problems were cleared up. I gave her leniency due to the heart pulling difficulties she was having. After several calls and promise she would send someone out 3 1/2 years later I still have an unsightly poor quality monstrosity. I realize warranty has expired NOW and I should have been more diligent in my complaining. I will NOT buy Ashley Furniture nor use Folk as my retailer again.

I bought an outdoor furniture set a year and a half ago. The cushions are moldy, but I can’t clean them because the fabric is disintegrating and the inserts are as well. The unit itself is fraying with absolutely no way to fix it. I was told that I could replace the cushions at my cost And was offered no solution for the deteriorating structure. This was after going back-and-forth for days until they said it was out of warranty. Warranty or not this should last more than 18 months (the pillows bad long before that) and they had the date of purchase from the very first exchange so it was a ridiculous effort in futility and ultimately they did zero to even try to make it right.

My initial purchase experience at the Cobb Pkwy store in at was pleasant and I was more than satisfied with the service I received. But unfortunately, the delivery process has been absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. Purchased it on 8-18 and as of 9-12 I have only received a partial delivery after being told all items were in stock. I ve received 4 different delivery dates and even an email and call stating the item was on the truck and one minute away and all of a sudden it’s not on the truck and it’s on back order. Ashley’s response to this is simply “delays happen“ and they don’t feel any type of compensation is available. I also would like to recognize and thank sales leaders C ** for her assistance in trying to help get this fiasco resolved.

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The item was damaged and they said they would replace it within 72 hrs. I called every day for 10 days asking for an update for someone to finally tell me the info was put in incorrectly and it would be another week. Another week rolls around and they say the item is damaged and it can’t be delivered. It’s a week later and they called to schedule it for today. They did not show up and when I called they said it would be another week. I have asked for a refund multiple times and for someone to pick up the damaged item. I will NEVER buy from Ashley again. They use a central call center that is completely separate from the store and the call center has no power and can do nothing. It literally is insane and I don’t know how they can continue to operate this business.

I purchased a bed, mattress, box spring, dresser, table and chairs last month at the North Miami store. Two of the chairs was damage, one had scuff mark and the other had a big chip. I didn't know what to do since this was the first time this happened to me. They forgot the box spring. The Sales Rep was not helpful at all when I called her, she never provided me with customer service number or any follow-up to remedy the situation. I was charged later for box spring without my consent since they forgot it and was charged instead for furniture protection plan the day of initial purchase that I also never approved. I never received itemized receipt until I spoke to customer service and was read my purchases. I am really disappointed that the SR acted like that, since she was representing the store.

I could spend all day recounting the horrible customer service at Ashley. Slimey salesmen and wrong information told to me over and over again. Worst thing is you can NOT track your order. We called the day before our pick up and spent over an hour trying to get an answer and then they called back several hours later in order to tell us our order did not cone in.
The week prior we had a phone call tell us our order is on an 8 week delay. Next day in the store for a different matter told, "No, your order will be here on the day you were told." Now a day before pickup we have no order and yes it will be 8 weeks. We just moved so we have NO couch currently so this is a big problem. Then I get a confirmation call when the furniture is finally on the way and they have the WRONG address!! Why would they have my billing address and not the home I just bought and put on all paperwork??? Then he tells me I have to call another number to change my address THEY messed up!!! The logistics at this place is beyond bad!! AVOID AT ALL COST!

Never buy anything from Ashley Furniture because they don't accept any return. This is their policy and they don't tell you when you buy the furniture, I paid them extra money for any problem I will have for 5 years but didn't help me to exchange it with softer furniture. I am 73 years old and I broke my ankle one month before I do this purchase.

I am not surprised that 88% of Ashley’s reviews are 1*. I purchased a sofa sleeper with cushions that were advertised as reversible. They are not! All I’ve gotten is lip service and bounced around so many times between the store and customer service that I feel like a tennis ball. Everyone agrees that the cushions are advertised as reversible but no one seems to be able to resolve the issue. I received a call last night from someone in their social media department (yes they have one). He assured me this issue would be taken care of and asked if satisfied with the result would I change my negative google review. I agreed but I’m not going to hold my breath till that happens.
Today someone called from customer service and had me on hold 53 minutes trying to reach someone, I don’t know who, and told me this should be a store issue not customer care. In my mind this purchase is likened to a bait and switch. I paid for something and got something different. Do yourself a favor, find a different place to buy furniture.

Purchased a dining room table with four chairs three of the chairs were damaged when they built it. I didn’t notice until they left. The same day I called customer service I have warranty on the table. They sent someone to come repair the table the next day, but no one showed up, I called customer service the same day and they said that someone came but no one was home, which is a lie. I was home all day. I called customer service again To schedule pick up since it’s the second day, I have three days to return it. Customer rep told me that everything is final sale and it cannot be returned. Only Repaired replace if damaged. I told them that I’m reading the contract now and it says I have three days and they insisted to wait five more days for the technician to come out again. I will never purchase anything from Ashley‘s again. I’m not paying $1,500 For a dining room table that is damaged.

I was unable to put my granddaughter’s bed together as half the hardware was missing! She had already been sleeping on the couch for 4-6 weeks, and when I called to get hardware shipped, I was told it would be 4-6 weeks. Decided to get hardware myself at hardware store. Still looking for the right 8 screws. I refused to pay 25% of the purchase for shipping, but when they leave out the hardware, it is so aggravating. I am a single mom trying to save money. I won’t be using Ashley again after this fiasco!

I have delivery restriction. They ignored that and the put the delivery time for the afternoon. I say, "No, you need to put morning delivery." They cancel my delivery and they charge me 256 for cancellation fees when the cancellation was 72 hours before the delivery day plus the deliver day time was wrong.

Buyer Beware before purchasing online!! Purchased 3 bar stools, 4 outside chairs and an end table from Ashley Online on August 17, 2024. All items were delivered on different days which would have been fine except we were called unexpectedly out of town on an emergency. We got back on Friday the 20th of August and the bar stools had been delivered in that time as were the other items. Problem is the bar stools do not meet our expectations as do the other items purchased. We opened one of the boxes and decided that we did not like them, so we loaded them up and took them to the local Ashley store on Saturday, August 21st. THIS WAS JUST OVER THE 72 HOUR TIME FRAME BY A FEW HOURS FROM THE TIME THEY WERE SUPPOSEDLY DELIVERED.
The store informed us that they did not take online orders back and gave my fiancé the number for Customer Service. They told him that they would send us an email with the cost to return the bar stools (shipping costs which would be around $65.00). Received an email late Monday morning, August 23rd from Anna M. I replied with several follow up emails but have not received the courtesy of a response. My fiancé has phoned them at least 10 times and there is either no answer or he is put on hold, and no one ever picks up. He gets someone on the line, the very 1st time he phoned, and they said that we will be able to send the bar stools back and to wait for a shipping label. It's been over a week and no shipping label along with unanswered emails and no response on the phone.

My husband and I went into the Ashley Furniture Store in Humble and were immediately greeted by a woman greeter and then greeted by Jamal **. We were there to buy living room furniture and he was so knowledgeable about all of the different pieces we were interested in buying and quoted prices for us with ease. We ended up buying a living room suite and it is being delivered on Tuesday and Ashley has been very professional with us. Overall, we are very happy with Jamal and Ashley Furniture. Btw.. this is the 3rd time we’ve bought furniture from Ashley and each time we’ve been happy.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! While going to the store and ordering was fine, their customer service and delivery is TRASH. I spent my whole evening preparing for delivery the next day to find out that I will not be getting my furniture dues to a store associate not signing something. Then the 800 # customer service rep told me I had to go to the store which is 30 plus miles away to make sure all forms are signed by THEIR employee! HOW IS THAT THE CUSTOMERS FAULT?? Previously delivery experience with Ashley was awful because my furniture never showed up on the delivery date. So I figured we would try it again. WRONG! Same issue as a few years ago! Personally I would not recommend buying anything from this store unless you can leave with it at the time of purchase.

I purchased a bedwetting that I cancelled 24 hours later, when I received my fairstone bill it still showed on the account. I called and they said it hadn't been cancelled, I then called Pateicia at the Barrie store to let her know that it wasn't cancelled and she assured me it was and said not to pay the bill. I called back a week later and I was told from the main office that it still hadn't been cancelled. They said they would contact the Barrie store and make sure that it got cancelled and that if it had been cancelled before the 48 hrs that I would get my money back. They also said they would get back to me to confirm. Never heard back from main office but received an email from Pateicia at the Barrie store with confirmation that it had now been cancelled. I checked today and my bill is still showing I owe them money. Can't seem to have anyone call me back. I am frustrated.

Looked online, Ashley says sign up and get $50,00 off first time purchase, What Asley does not tell you is that you have to purchase at least $999,00 to get that discount, Then the other day Ashley offers a 10% labor day sale. What Ashley does not tell you, It's only for a very few Clearance Items, Long story short Ashley has way too much fine print and very misleading ads, I won't be buying from Ashley!

Short version: Ashley has lied about cancelling my order (after they declined it) and are holding $2600 hostage. Believe the 1 star reviews. Story: I place an online order and it was declined so I stupidly placed a second order, thinking it was my error, which was also declined. When I called to ask why, they said I had to purchase in store which defeats the purpose of online shopping. Made three phones calls to "customer care", asking them to outright cancel the order because the holds are still on my card, tying up my credit balance. They said there is nothing the can do, to contact my bank, that it would take 7-10 business days for "my bank to release the hold". Well, my bank says it is still processing and they have not received the cancellation for the order. So Ashley has committed fraud. Ashley has $2600 held on my card, which is money I need to actually buy furniture (from anywhere else).

Yeah... Never again. Went on 5/19/24 and told the representative who greeted us that we lost our house in a fire and we needed to furnish our house since the reconstruction was nearly done. We think all he saw was money signs. We purchased 4 complete bedroom sets and a complete living room set. He explained to us that we needed to have "foundations" to the bed for the mattress along with the the rolled slats. Us not knowing the difference, we trusted he would be honest and took his word for it.
We noticed that it was almost $1000 more for the "foundations". Again, took his word for it. When going over the receipt, he did it very quickly. Not realizing things were completely wrong, or missing or added that we didn't approve. We noticed all the mistakes the day of delivery. The first piece they carried in was the complete wrong dresser that was literally "blinged" out. We didn't order it so we started questioning things and preparing to call the store.
The delivery company was at the house at the same time the mattress company was there. They asked why we would've needed 10 box springs. We questioned what he was talking about and he showed us. He then explained to us that "we were had" and they always sell their box springs as "foundations". Then he pointed out that a main component to my sons bed was missing and they couldn't put it together. THEN, they pointed out the extra side table and coffee table. We didn't order those and noticed that the recliner to our living room set was missing and not even on the receipt.
My teenage son said that when he went over the receipt with us, the sales representative pointed that the top 2 items were read to us at the recliner and that's what the coffee table and side table were. We took a drive to Hunt Valley and explained the mistakes and the fact we felt taken advantage of. The representative then was in all and called the regional manager immediately and apologized up and down the wall. He explained the original representative no longer worked for Ashley. He said the regional manager would call us no later than 430 that afternoon.
We get back to the house to figure out what else could go wrong and worried we wouldn't hear back from Ashley. At 428pm, the regional manager called. We were relieved. He said he would go over our ticket, order what we were missing, refund what needed to be, and we would come to the store for "compensation" for the mistakes their store made plus putting the refund on the items that needed a refund. We expressed we needed the stuff ASAP especially the part to my sons bed. He told us he would look at all of his warehouses and "make it right".
He called me back a few days later and updated us...sorta via voicemail. I wasn't able to answer my phone. I called back a few days later as I work a high demanding job and no answer and no voicemail was set up. I texted him and that's when the excuses started. He said he would call me back and no phone call back. My husband called and no answer. I said to text him, and a quick response to him to call and speak to the representative at the store so we did just that and he acted surprised because he only has limited access to what we were told. So again, nowhere. I get a call from a different representative and was told that they can't guarantee delivery when we need it by because of space on the truck. Well this means my son can sleep on the floor until midweek?
We ordered in May. It is now August, make it work. She told me I could come in and get a refund on all my stuff since I told her I'm about have them come pick it all up. We asked who was above the regional manager, and we were told no one. That's a lie and we will find out if their is no resolution to this matter by 5pm tomorrow (8/30/2024). This is the second bad taste Ashley has left us with. We went to Bob's Furniture for the second living room set and wish we would've gone to there before this joke of a store. Until we receive the proper treatment and attention to this matter, we will post a bad review daily.

When you are purchasing, the sales people are very attentive, however, once sale delivered- forget it...they offered a $300 rewards card and what a hassle getting that rebate has been. Numerous calls because never received, then I final got 2 of the 3 'virtual' cards thru email, was shorted one. $100 had to come in 3 separate rewards. Then initial email states 'click on bottom green bubble to receive plastic card at 0 cost. There was nowhere to click for that...so I did the virtual (can only use for online shopping) and there was somewhere to click for getting plastic card...at $20 fee!!! If offering this type of reward, they make it so labor intense to even get it, it's almost not worth the hassle. Still waiting for resolution for the $100 missing 'reward'. Most likely will not buy from Ashley again...too aggravating.

We purchased a sofa 8 months ago, it’s 3 pieces with a separate oversized ottoman. 1 of the pieces have caved in and the back cushion has completely lost shape. We have tried everything to fluff them and move around filling, but nothing is working. We paid for the extra coverage, however when they sent a technician out, he made his assessment, and then they refused to do anything and said “it’s normal wear and tear.” I was so pissed, this is the cushion that gets used the least in the house, I am a big guy in the cushion that I sit on. It’s still normal. I said what am I even paying extra for this extended warranty for? So apparently, when you purchased furniture from Ashley, you should only expect to get about eight months out of it because it is absolutely trash. I will never recommend and will never purchase from Ashley again.

Bought a mattress, spent over $1400. Said 90 day trial, which makes perfect sense, since all mattress companies let you try it out. It's not a good match for me, hurts my back. Ashley says no returns. No matter what, I cannot return, replace or even upgrade to a mattress I need. That's just overly disgusting to experience and I'm mad as hell. We spent 10s of thousands buying furniture at Ashley's, and they pull this on us?!?!

Over 2 weeks ago I purchased several furniture items from Ashley Furniture on the I-45 in Spring, TX. Following 3 separate deliveries, all of which came with either broken or missing furniture pieces, I am still waiting for all the items in my initial order to be delivered. Despite all the errors originating on their side, Ryland - the store General Manager, has displayed such awful customer service, sullying the name of a well know and respected brand. Most recently, we were advised that we would have to pay a private contractor to redeliver broken or missing items if we wanted delivery within the timeframe initially promised during purchase. This after paying a $800 delivery fee at the time of purchase. Seeing the injustice, the sales representative advised that we would be refunded at least 50% of the delivery charge. However, Ryland has now decided that he will not approve any delivery charge refund.
Desperate to receive the furniture for our new home, we payed our own delivery charge to have the critical items such as beds and chairs delivered after so many delays. However, one of the items (which arrived broken in a previous delivery and had to be returned) came with the wrong legs, a total mismatch to all the other pieces in the set. After being told that Ryland will reach out to me to discuss next steps, I have received no phone call but a text message from the sales associate advising that I have to go online and create my own ticket to get the legs corrected. Am I crazy or are these people crazy? Not to mention, the bed frame that was delivered was sent with temporary rails until they can figure out when the real rails can be delivered. The joke is, the temporary rails don’t even fit so the mattress is sitting on the floor.

One of the worst customer service and dealing. I purchased furniture more than a month ago and still some of items not deliver yet. Moreover they still giving false commitment to deliver within coming 15-20 days. When you plan to buy furniture, they will deal with you with so many commitments that you feel proud and rely upon but service is totally opposite when order placed. Even their driver installed the furniture whom they called technician. So funny. And in my case he screwed up so tight that hard part came out and for this he hide the incident and went out.
When I complained about this, they said item would replaced by manufacturer. Now it's more than 20 days and still issue not resolved. And I am suffering from it. I am helpless. If there is option to give rating less than star I would give it. So my personal experience don't buy furniture from Ashley. There are lot more store. What's the use of it when you buy by paying more than other store and get poor customer service. Decision is yours guys but seriously it's worst than ever experience I have.

This has been the worst experience on my life with Ashley, the customer service is a crap, the delivery crew was in the hurry putting everything without any kind of care, using a drill with a huge torque sweeping the screws and damaging the furniture, they had a missing parts that until now 3 weeks after the delivery I didn't receive it yet, The customer it's useless. They can't track the orders, they can't tell you where are the parts, they can't tell you when the technician will arrive, Keep away from this company!!

I purchased a tv stand and arrived broken had to wait a week to see a technician to check the piece and was told by the technician that I had to wait 1-2 weeks more to get that broken piece delivered. What a waste of time, I should have chosen Amazon instead. I do not recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone. Instead of replacing the whole thing or sending with the technician the broken piece that I provided (because they asked) specific proof of, that even said the piece #, no he only confirmed that indeed it was broken and needed a replacement or I could choose for him to glue it together?”” Are you serious, a new tv stand and the piece goes on the front smh!??? If I could give Ashley's a 0 I would. Overall just poor customer service and dishonest individuals. I've had two horrible experiences but I will only speak of my recent one. I bought a table set in May 2024 and was told the set could take 4-6 weeks to arrive. I never heard from them. I reached out the end of July to get updates. I was told a manager was helping someone and would call me back. Apparently the manager is the only person who can look up the status. Nobody ever called back. Called a couple more times and staff made it seem like they were being harassed. I had to physically go to the store. I got the runaround for 30 minute until a manager finally spoke to me.
They acted like they had the order in the store all along but somehow they didn't have my contact information attached. The set was finally delivered 8/5. It was immediately noticed that this was floor model, however I was already charged full price for this. Called and spoke to a manager the same day. After a little back in forth it was agreed that if it was marked down significantly I would keep the set. Manager said she would and I would see this credited to my store credit card in a few days. It's 8/21 and I have not been credited. I called the store and of course the manager is helping someone and will call me back. How about helping the customer you've greatly inconvenienced already. I will have to do a fraud claim pretty soon if they do not follow through with the agreement. They sold me used furniture and tried to get away with it. Please don't trust these people. Do yourself a favor and find a different furniture store.

I will never do business with them again. Furniture is poor quality and customer service is horrible. They came out 3 times to fix my brand new chair until they finally gave me a new one. I opened a line of credit, I received 3 different credit cards in the mail!! 2 of the cards canceled. I have been trying for months to cancel the last one, their phone system was down for months. I guess their system is back working but I don’t think they have anyone working, I have been on hold for over 55 minutes and counting to speak to a representative to cancel my account. Never ever doing business with them again!

You ever had to shave a couch with clippers? This couch from Ashley was rarely sat on and about six months in of having it we started having it fray. The fabric is pathetic. The quality is horrible. The price was 1800 dollars and will never go back and buy anything from this store or company. Be aware before purchasing.

We purchased our chairs on 6-18-23 and paid $459.99. They are so well made that we realized that we were not going to use the coverage. We called the store and they informed my husband that we would NOT be reimbursed by the store, but we could use this money as store credit. I took this down word for word. And it stated that we would be reimbursed the amount we paid, not credit. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN BUYING FROM THIS OUTFIT. They will tell you anything to make a sale.

Please be aware that Ashley Furniture stores (at least in Tampa) are running a financial SCAM together with Synchrony Bank. When they offer you financing, they do not tell you that this will be provided in the form of a maxed-out credit card (100% limit used), which will immediately bring your credit score down. I'm not saying a couple of points; I'm saying 40 points down. When you call the bank to confront them, all you hear "Do not take it on me; I just work here." Unbelievable. On a side note, the item arrived damaged, and I have been waiting for a replacement for nearly three weeks already.

Original Review: They sold us a kids size version of a chest of drawers with the king size bedroom set we purchased. We had no idea there was two sizes and pointed to the only one in the show room, the large normal one, that we wanted. We took delivery and then a few days later went to the store to see how we could have not seen this to find out we hadn’t and that they had sold us the wrong one. Now the manager at the AZ store at Scottsdale Road and Mayo tells us they can not swap us out with the correct size one because we accepted delivery. Unbelievable and unfair!!! We cannot believe this company is taking this hard line with us. We will never shop here again and are very unhappy!

Purchased a dining room table and chairs, the chairs started falling apart in the first year, legs falling apart and wood cracking. The table started delaminating after the first year. Called store, they sent me to the warranty company. They have jerked me around for over a year. I've sent in countless pictures and emails that I was told to do and I get no response. So I'm out $4500 for furniture that I can't use. I bought a 5-year warranty that they will not honor. Do yourself a favor and buy somewhere else. But whatever you do. Don't waste money on their so-called warranty.

I want to warn people about this store. This place is a scam. Here are just a few of the complaints I have: They are horrible. I am trying to save you from the pain and anguish that comes from buying furniture from this place. I wish someone had warned us earlier. The customer service is non-existent. If there is a mistake on your furniture order, and trust me they will sometimes deliver the wrong furniture to your house, it will take them months and months to fix the issue. You can try to escalate it to higher ups but that will get you nowhere because they will ignore your emails and phone calls.
Their delivery drivers never come on time or they come earlier or later than expected and then they will make you reschedule to have it be delivered at another date. Sometimes the delivery drivers don't show up at all. That happened to us three times so far. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, my local consumer protection office, and The Federal Trade Commission.
We've waited months and months for a single chair to be delivered. It has yet to show up. They will also claim that they can't find any of your paperwork. Another fun thing that they try to do is put you in the middle between the actual store location employees and the escalation department with both of them saying that they can't do anything to help you or that once you reached escalation you cannot go any further up in management from there to complain about anything or find a resolution to your issue. So this really leaves you stuck with no solution. They'll do this to you for a while just to stall time hoping that you eventually just give up. They keep you on hold forever if you're calling about a problem, they don't return calls and they don't respond to any of your emails. It's almost like they get some kind of sick enjoyment out of just making everything harder for you. Please do not shop here. This has been a never ending nightmare for us.

Have had several buying experiences. One in store where I waited with my 3 children over an hour for service, one online where they continued to charge and recharge my card and refund my card because the items were not available and finally online where the item was available and shipped to me with no input when I could receive it and no way to change the delivery time or date. On my first purchase I ordered and paid for assembly and the person miss-drilled the handles and left holes. Sitting here now waiting for delivery.

Yesterday I had the best experience ever in Prattville Ashley store, Mo, Greg And Ms. ** was the best. I was greeted with smiles nice tones and the treatment to satisfy. Mr. Greg went over and beyond to do what was needed for me to walk out of there happy. Ms. ** was the mother of the store. She made sure everything on the back end was put in correctly. And Mo was so laid back and cool and gave the ok to make sure Greg treated me as family. If I have to look for something else for my house Prattville will be my only go to.

I purchased over $14,000 of furniture from Ashley Furniture (Fredericksburg, VA) only to be sold a damaged box spring. Had an inspector come out and look at it, and even after he let them know it was damaged their only accommodation was for me to purchase another box spring. I just moved into my home in December of 2023 and received my furniture in February so this box spring was no more than 6 months old. Watch where you spend your hard earned money. This place will rip you off. The rest of the furniture is meh. Not impressed at all. Won’t be back. I WOULD NOT recommend Ashley to my friends and family.

I was recently shopping for a couch and mentioned in two stores that I didn't want to see anything by Ashley and they said they stopped carrying it because of customer complaints. Wish I would have known that before I bought my Ashley dining room set. My dining room set is a year old and the finish is coming off of the tabletop, the padding on the chairs is breaking down and a leg on one of the chairs broke (discovered that the legs are pieced together in sections using a plastic rod and 1-inch staples); and some of staples under the seat fastening to the cushion lining are not all the way in so it's sagging in places..

I was greeted by A sales representative named Nancy. She was pleasant in her greeting and started to help me. But I couldn’t stay in that store. It was too hot and uncomfortable. I paid $300 for the extended warranty. The couch got spotted. They gave me credit towards another couch, but they would not waive the $190 delivery charge. This is a scam. Stay away from Ashley. The store manager at the time we went in suggested that customer service is the only one who could waive the fee. We called customer service and they said, the store manager is the one who could waive the fee? Who's in charge here???? Bad, bad service.

Hired some Ashley guys to come out and deliver a new mattress, paid to have the old one removed. Simple, easy, could have been done in a matter of 20 minutes. Instead, they complained there was a "stain" on the mattress and then threw it into my yard, driving off without it and not even letting me know it was there. Returned my payment to take it after I called and complained, so they wouldn't have to come back and fix their mess. Of course I want to note that both workers were immigrants and could barely care about you or the company so take that how you wish.

I have always regarded Ashley Furniture Store as the leading company in furniture and customer service, but after my recent move I do not believe I could ever recommend them again! I thought I found the perfect bedroom set, and while I still believe the furniture to look great from the photos the customer service and no hassle delivery has been abysmal, worse than any other similar furniture stores. After a complete purchase 2 months prior my delivery has yet to come. I am sleeping on the floor with a mattress.
The first estimated delivery date was a no show no call. I called customer service who apologized and informed me that although I received the messages for a delivery that day it was sent incorrectly. I had took off from work to be present for the delivery. They informed me that the order is not fully stocked and they would send an incomplete order next delivery date. After receiving the partial delivery the second date, I waited a few more weeks without any correspondence. I called for a third time where I was informed the items of my purchase over a month prior was still not stocked and they would again only send partial items. This was my 3rd day taking off from work for a simple delivery. Had I not called a third time there would have been no delivery or updates. Furniture stores like Bob’s Furniture are more professional with an efficient no hassle delivery systems in place. Disappointed is an understatement.

Ashley delivered a badly defective dinette set. I notified them immediately. The design is way off center on all sides and the top is crooked. Technician came out, agreed with me, said not fixable and then I was refused a return or exchange because it is “up to their standards” which apparently are pretty darn low. I paid full price for this, not a clearance item, but it should have been. It looks terrible. They are in breach of their return policy when there is a obvious defect. Going in circles with customer service about this.

So my girlfriend and I bought a new dryer and washer from Ashley super store. It was a floor model but we paid for the extended warranty. We got the dryer home and noticed it had a dent in it so the drum was rubbing up against the side wall of the dryer. Super loud! We had a Service technician come June 4th to look at it. He ordered parts and left we didn’t hear from them after a month and called the store number which is sent to any store in Wisconsin that is available to talk.
At the beginning of July the service department for Appliances phone line was down so we went in to the store complained to the store manager got nowhere. So today two months later my girlfriend called again and got the run around about how they didn’t have any service techs in our area (Madison). So I called them back and complained and told the lady the last step in all this is to contact the DATCP. Within a half hour of threatening them they called us back with a service date. Save yourself the hassle and buy somewhere else.

We purchased a recliner and a couch with built-in recliners. We purchased the furniture in September of 2021. We purchased the additional warranty for 199.99, which was supposed to cover any issues. We filed a claim in February 2024 because the recliner on one side was drooping, and you could feel the frame through the cushion. The rep came out and beat on the frame with a hammer and told us to sit on the other side of the couch. We filed an additional claim and contacted Ashley regarding the bad service. As of this writing, 07-31-24, the claim is still open. 6 months, and nothing has been done. I recommend that you stay away from Ashely, and if you do decide to purchase, don't bother with the extended warranty. It is not worth the paper it is printed on.

I wasn't familiar with Ashley until we moved to South Carolina, albeit there is a store near my prior home in MI, just never went. Mixed reviews of the quality of the furniture. We purchased some barrel chairs and so far they have been fine other than one that had a loose screw on the base which I just fixed myself. A breakfast nook table and chairs is also ok so far. Now getting to the fun stuff. Two Lenston cabinets we purchased are no more than typical China crap put together by numbers. Would never buy these.
In the process of sending one back because it is so bad, but Ashley makes it extremely difficult to return anything. The taller of the two cabinets was damaged and the doors don't stay shut as well the fit around them is horrific. The non-English delivery guys, had to use Google translate to communicate at all, told me Ashley would send someone out to fix/replace. Not the case whatsoever, Ashely took the position I didn't refuse delivery so that equals accepting them. Now I have to pick out something else to replace the cabinet because they refuse to give me a refund...only credit and that was after me pushing hard. So, if you have anything delivered that you are not 100% satisfied with do not accept and make the delivery guys take it back.
Once they leave it, it's too late. Now for the office desk...first one was damaged which they noticed prior to delivery so they put in an order for a second. The second shows up at my house and it's damaged so had to go back. The third one was damaged prior to delivery so they put in a replacement, now a fourth try, to which I said no thanks, give me a refund. Unfortunately, I could never recommend Ashley and once I get something to replace the cabinet, so I at least get something for my money, I'll never be back. The overall rating of 1.3 stars for well over 5,000 reviews seems very appropriate. Avoid if you can folks.

We bought a couch from the store in Four Oaks, North Carolina on or about July 1, 2024. We were charged for the delivery fee, even though we picked up the couch ourselves. We brought this to the attention of the employee in the warehouse who was doing the final paperwork, and she agreed that we should not be charged for the delivery fee. She called someone about this issue, and a man came out and stated that he was the district manager, and said that he couldn't fix the error today, but said that he would make it right. He said we should be refunded the cost of the delivery fee as soon as he could get things corrected.
This was 4 weeks ago now, and we have not received a refund or any communication as to why we have not. This is very poor business ! We had another bad experience with the Ashley Furniture store in Medford Oregon about 6 years ago. We called the Corporate office in that instance, but never received a call back. Once again, very poor business practice. We will not be shopping at Ashley furniture again.

This review is not a reflection of the store that I visited to make a purchase, but it is a reflection on the company and the kind of products they sell. Approximately a year ago, I went into Ashley Furniture to buy a couch. I didn't need anything top of the line fancy, but I didn't want bottom of the barrel. I found a decent couch that was priced right and ended up making a purchase. That is where the "good ends." Upon the couch being delivered, there was a defect with one of the footrests. I contacted Ashley Furniture who said they would be happy to send a part over and then get someone scheduled to come and fix it. This was not the case.
We received the part, but then we waited two weeks for someone to call us to get it scheduled. It turns out, this would be the first of many times I would be misinformed by Ashley Furniture. They stated upon me calling them back asking for a status on the repair work, that I would have to call a different number to get something scheduled. Why should it be my job to call someone for repair work? It should be done by the representative. I spoke with a supervisor and I gave him two options: either replace my couch and haul the defective one away for no charge, or they give me all my money back. We went with the first option and a new couch was delivered.
Guess what? The new couch had the exact same issue. I wasn't abusing this couch. I wasn't mistreating it. I was sitting in it and using it like a normal person would. But the footrest became defective again. Now, I had to turn to the warranty, which is a limited one year. I called an Ashley representative and asked about the warranty and if I could file a claim. Sure, they said, it would be no trouble. I was transferred to another person who helped me get a claim started. They sent me instructions on how to submit photos of the couch to get the situation squared. I followed these instructions until they curiously asked me for the "model number" of the couch. I looked everywhere on this couch for the model number. I presented several pictures of what I thought were model numbers but evidently weren't.
I contacted the warranty group number I was given and asked them about the model number. They told me exactly where to look and I gave them a number I already knew wasn't a model number. They said it wasn't right. I said there was no model number present. "Unfortunately, without that model number, we cannot proceed with the warranty claim." I got screwed a lot in this interaction. And now, one year later, I still have a defective couch and no way to fix it now because it is out of warranty. Ashley couldn't help me. The warranty company couldn't help me. No one at Ashley could deliver me an experience worthy of even a two-star review. Or even a full one star. This would be a half-star review if I could give it one. Do not buy from Ashley. I will not be buying from Ashley again because of their cheap products and their lazy commitment to a customer experience.

I purchase a dining set at Ashley, I selected one the sale person said they have another color in the same item and showed me the color and I chose the grey color except what I didn’t get clear that it was going to be different from the one I like with the bar/shelf but instead the 3 Shelf only no bar. When delivered to my house and assemble I told the delivery guys it’s the wrong table and they told customer service they was not going to take it back. I was told I would be contacted and it will be corrected. However the sale person cover herself and now somehow I purchased the wrong items and I signed for it. I have to keep it. There is no return or exchange. They basically Told me “oh well you are stuck with this."
Make sure you look at everything you sign and the picture of the items before you purchase. The only good thing is it was a cheap table. And I will never set foot back in Ashley Furniture or City Furniture again. I should have looked at all the other bad reviews before I purchase with them. Yes it was my fault for thinking I was dealing with a company that cares about their customers.

I purchased over $6,000 in furniture. My purchases were split up in three promotions. Since the beginning of my account, there have been errors with my billing. They have added finance charges to non finance promotions. Then when I check the error. They would fix the error then add it back on as a credit/purchases which makes my minimum payment fluctuate. I closed my account right away and since then, this has happen more than 6 times in the one year. When I find the error and call them on it. I'm then told.. sorry we won't be able to fix this right away. You will just have to pay the minimum until we can fix it. I have also asked for management who is also no help. I regret spending money with them and will tell anyone I can to never buy from Ashley's unless you want to deal with the carelessness of customer service and the billing errors that don't affect them.

I purchased a 5 drawer chest from Ashley's a month ago. That was the easy part. Since then I have been lied to about the delivery time and have never received one phone call from alive person from Ashley's. The contact I have ever received is email or text messages from a chat bot. When I bought furniture from Ashley's I was told that they could deliver my furniture between 1 and 3 so I wouldn't have to take off work. When I call the store no one there knows anything about delivery times or how to get ahold of that department. I will never buy another piece of furniture from Ashley's never again.

Furniture quality is acceptable, but we don't recommend buying an extended warranty. READ BEFORE CONSIDERING THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. We started a warranty claim over a month ago (about 14 months after the initial purchase). Ashley doesn't provided the extended warranty and does not stand behind the provider. The repair person (a subcontractor who is not an employee of even the warranty company) finally arrived nine days ago, did not have the part, and led us to believe it would be sent to us.
Today, after calling both Ashley (who washes their hands of any involvement now) and the warranty company (and staying on hold, multiple times, for nearly an hour total), we find that the warranty company did not order the part. They will order it now, but that's a two-step process, the first of which will take seven to ten business days...and then they'll let us know! So, just know this before you consider the warranty...and maybe before you buy the furniture in the first place!

It was beyond terrible experience to buy a product from Ashley. I would request each one of you to beware. It was my 1st sofa and one of the costliest sofa purchased from Ashley for the 1st time, when it got delivered, within 2 hours I called them with my problems of having the sofa. 1) Leather sofa generating heat in my body (rashes). 2) back of the sofa had loose ends/gap in sofa. 3) blocking my patio door, because of size of sofa which did not fit in my living room. 4) Even after multiple follow ups with store managers of Ashley Dublin store, they immediately declined to understand my problem completely. They were not at all helpful. (I would request to replace them immediately & stop harassing the clients). 5) Ashley Dublin do not believe in customer satisfaction, please think twice before going to this store.
Absolute shame on customer service. 7) it was a terrible experience ever in my life which I never expected from such a big brand. After calling customer service/store/sharing images on emails, requested multiple times but nobody helped me on this over the last 2.5 weeks. Just kept passing the battle from one person to another increasing the mental frustration & harassment. 8) Technicians kept fooling us in both the visit of helping us but both the times the request was declined on email. Please do not purchase product from Ashley as there is no return/exchange policy even for genuine reasons.

What a nightmare. This store wanted to charge me a little under $400.00 to deliver my purchase. Agreed to pick it up myself. This is a sectional couch. I arrived to pick up, waited an hour. Although there were bodies walking around, only one man loading at customer pick-up. He loads my purchase which was 5 pieces. (1 right corner, 1 left corner, 2 armless sections and 1 wedge for middle of sectional.) Get home and unwrap furniture. He loaded 2 right corners, 1 left corner and no wedge. They definitely need an individual that can read their orders. Let's see how long it takes to get this resolved.

I had a bad experience with Ashley Furniture in Jefferson City TN. I bought a couch and love seat that had 2 recliners each. I bought them in November 2023. Paid $6k for them. I was told by sales lady delivery could be done in a couple days.. it was a month later before we got them delivered to us. Was told by sales person they hardly ever have break downs with their electric recliners but I purchased a protection plan anyway. Thank God I did. On Friday July 12, 2024 one of the recliners went out. I called furniture protection plan left a message on July 13th. No call back by Monday July 15th so I called again. Was transferred to different number they gave me another number. Called it, they gave me another number so I called it. I got hung up on.
Called back. they gave me another number. I called them. I got hung up on again. I called back and got a voicemail. Had another number to call on it so I wrote it down and called it. Got voicemail that they are only open Tuesday thru Saturday. Left my phone number. Now waiting to see if they call me back tomorrow on the 16th. I will never do business with Ashley furniture again. It's overpriced, not worth what you pay for and bad customer service!

I purchased a reclining couch item #: ** a couple of weeks ago. It seemed ok at the store so we bought it. When it was delivered they showed me that everything worked. Later that evening my wife and I sat down to watch tv, soon our both of our lower backs started to get sore and after 10-15 minutes we couldn’t sit on the couch. So we moved to our old recliners. This was on a Friday, Saturday evening we tried again and had the same results. Sunday we decided that we would call the store on Monday. When I called they told me that store policy was all sales were final.
The following Friday I called Ashley’s and asked for a manager. He told me there was nothing the store could do. He gave me their corporate number and told me to call them. I did the next day. I was told that I needed to call within 72 hours after delivery. Something the store didn’t tell us and it’s not in their paperwork. When I told the customer service person that I did happen to call the store within 72 hours she told me the store didn’t make a note that I called so there’s nothing she could do. When I asked to speak to her supervisor I was put on hold for a half hour then was disconnected. So I’m stuck with a couch that isn’t just uncomfortable but unusable. Old people shouldn’t be treated this way.

The knobs on the Porter bedroom Collection are very cheaply made and easily breaks apart from the furniture. Custom service is awful, Don’t let this company fool you. All I wanted was to order some knobs, but if you bought your furniture from a third party, they refused to help in any way. My question comes up, why let other companies sell your product and all the time you have such horrible rules. Truly I think this company should be investigated and charge with fraud to all the customers who purchase their products and are having problems with their products.

I was told all furniture could be removed and taken at one time for new furniture to be delivered. I spent over almost 10k in furniture and removal. I had to move everything out of the way to accommodate this switch. Upon entering the delivery people said they couldn't do it because the couch was too big. After moving ALL of my dining room furniture outside, they said they would remove old couch. They then received a call saying there wasn't room on the truck (despite me paying for removal). I said just leave the couch in the garbage then. However they took it as leave all the items in the foot of my driveway in a big mess. I needed to move the furniture all by myself to the curb.
I now await the citation from the town regarding all of the trash left behind. I paid for removal and yet had to remove my dining set and all of the old furniture. Kay, the representative was inappropriate telling me my home was cluttered and needed to be emptied. Her comments were nasty and unnecessary. The text line for customer care basically told me, "Sorry we can't help you with the fact that we left a giant mess in your driveway." Awful experience. This is what service looks like??? Just strewn all over the apron of my driveway??!! After I PAID for removal- Awful! Shame on you!

We purchased a sofa recliner, two bar stools, two bedside tables and a tall Chester. It was delivered April 27th 2024. We were still living in Tennessee so we left the next day to go back and pack our stuff up and move back to Florida. We were here for about 2 and 1/2 weeks and noticed that the recliner sofa had the wood coming through where the footstool is. And then the arm was kind of leaning and it had a big gap on the side. Someone came out, said that it would be taken care of and they were going to order the parts and then he'd come back and put them in. And then we noticed that the fabric was starting to come up. We took pictures and no one had come to look at it. They just saw the pictures. Some lady had the nerve to say that our dogs did it.
Our dogs are kennel when we're not here and we keep our furniture covered up so if they do jump up we won't get pet hair on our furniture. And to me it's the nerve of how do you know if you're not even looking at my furniture. You've never been to my house how can you say that. So I'm totally against Ashley Furniture. We will never buy from them again because we pay for this insurance and they are not holding up to their insurance policies. Don't buy from them.

I'm not going to waste my time going into the horrid experience my family had at their Memphis Wolf Chase store, all I can say is run, don't walk away from this store. Buyers beware of the Tempur-Pedic and Sealy 90-day sleep guarantee. The salesperson didn't explain how the guarantee worked. If the mattress is not a good fit, you can only return the mattress for equal or greater value. I am in the process of returning the Tempur-Pedic Pro-adapt because the mattress is extremely uncomfortable. I settled for another mattress which also has to be a Tempur-Pedic or Sealy brand and it wasn't as expensive as the initial mattress. I was told I could not get a credit even though it was cheaper. I am now stuck having to choose a mattress that does not work for me.
I also went by Mattress Firm and found the same exact mattress but there 90-day sleep guarantee works significantly different. At Mattress Firm they will allow you to return the mattress for a refund or a less expensive mattress. I'm not sure why Ashley Furniture is not allowing this same type of return, but I will never shop there again. I advise all potential customers to PLEASE read the fine print on Ashley Furniture's policy on the 90-day sleep guarantee on these mattresses.

I purchased dining table set. They delivered with damaged. Even though refused for delivery delivery person wontedly kept in our home and left. We immediately called customer care. They refused to return and sent service order. They didn't undone properly. Dining was very worst scratches, paint gone. Wood is coming up. Lot of issues. After one month repair person came to our home and informed it can't be repaired. Later they agreed for reselection. When we went to store they are very rude salesperson. Increased voice and then I also increased. Manager came to me. Asked to leave store which is very rude and not expected.

They sent technician to fix it 2 weeks later and did not bother ordering a part, which needed to be installed. Now I can not return the product as it is passed 48 hours window for returning and can't use as it is broken. Customer service agents create Harassments and insult the customer when they complaint. **

Ashley Furniture falls, advertised an ultra-plush mattress as being the softest one in the store. When I got the mattress, I was confused as to why it was so incredibly hard. They sent that a technician who couldn’t arrive till day 13, of course they stopped. Taking returns at day 12. Naplab tested the mattress I got and rated it at a 6 to 10 in firmness. I was led to believe this was the softest mattress in the store. Hence the words ultra plush. Very fraudulent way to misrepresent and sell something to a single mother who’s working two jobs just to get by. I paid $1000 for a mattress that is hard as stone.

Shopping on Ashley Furniture website is a nightmare! Transactions never go through because of their “credit protection system” and they cannot tell you the real reason behind declined transactions because there isn’t any. They will send confirmation of the order, delivery emails and show live delivery status but once the package almost gets to your doorstep, the status changes to “unable to deliver”. You call up the driver and they say “their boss” asked them not to deliver. You contact Ashley customer care and they say they don’t have any record of the order at all. After going through this hassle multiple times, we finally gave up on Ashley and bought from living spaces and we had an excellent experience there.

I would not recommend shopping at Ashley Furniture in Draper. After spending approximately $18-20,000 between the US and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, I am disappointed with the service in Draper. Despite the excellent service in Cabo, the delivery and quality of the furniture in Draper was subpar. I purchased a new sofa, loveseat, two leather chairs, and an ottoman, but noticed a hole in one of the chairs within an hour of delivery. The company refused to do anything about it and told me to file a claim with the protection company.
After a month, I noticed two slots in the fabric of the sofa arm. I called the company again, but they insisted that I needed to file a claim with the protection company. I am still waiting for the protection company to resolve my claim. Overall, I would not recommend shopping at Ashley Furniture in Draper and suggest taking your business elsewhere to receive better customer service and quality products. Do not shop at Ashley if you want quality furniture and service.

Very unhappy with Ashley Furniture. They delivered my bed with missing pieces. I have been waiting for the decorative ornamentation for nearly 5 months. I got a call today and they offered me $35. I was told the parts were ordered from overseas and they could not guarantee a delivery date. After three months, there is no resolution. They have offered me the $35 and then withdrew it to tell me I just had to wait. That's a lousy way to do business.

Purchased a recliner on 5/16. Was told I would receive a call in 3-4 days to schedule delivery. Delivery would take 3-6 weeks. I called the store several times and left messages. Phone was never answered and calls were not returned. Finally talked to the same salesman after my call was transferred from the corporate office. I asked for the manager and he told me he WAS the manager which is a bold-faced lie. He also told me they did not have enough staff and they were much too busy to answer the phone or return calls. When we were there, there were no less than 4 sales persons there and we were the only customers. I will not do business with Ashley again because of the lies, rudeness of the staff and extremely poor customer service.

It's very unfortunate I purchase a couch that cost me 2k and they sold me a vouch that the whole left arm facing mechanism is bent and now they are stating that the 1 year with the company warranty does not cover. Even though the tech said it's a manufacture problem or when they place in truck they dropped it. Now they are refusing to exchange or fix. This entire process of online orders is a scam. Let's list the problems. First of all Ashley offers a 5 year insurance when you buy their product. The problem is the product I got was a bed frame which isn't even cover by their insurance in the first place. Luckily I caught that before I wasted my money. Next they don't put all of the warnings on their online store so you might end up with a product you don't want. For example the frame I got was made with or around cancer agents. I would never have been gotten it if I had known that ahead of time. Finally you have to pay for all returns. That includes the label. Which for this product is 149 dollars. The frame was 137 dollars. I will never waste my money or time here again.

Look at all the reviews that mention this same defective issue! Ashely CONTINUES TO SELL this product despite knowing of the defect. I have a months worth of back and forth messages from customer support (and some you can even read here from others) who won't stand behind this product by replacing the top or making things right EVEN WHEN THEY KNOW that the product is defective. They keep asking for proof of purchase, name of purchaser, phone # of customer, etc...as a way to bow out of supporting a product they sell. If a product is DEFECTIVE, it's DEFECTIVE, whether you have a customer name, number, etc. If they don't stand behind this clearly defective product, they certainly don't stand behind any of their products and simply want to make sales from unsuspecting customers. For this reason, I would NOT recommend shopping from Ashley.

While other brands give a minimum return period of 30 days or even 1 year, Ashley gives 1 week return period and 40% of the amount you pay is deducted. Only 1 week. I spent $10,000 at my local Ashley Furniture store. When I received my furniture literally almost a year later, I had issues from day 1 - Everything was flimsy and felt cheap. Not only that, but I paid insurance on each piece so if I had issues with my furniture it would be covered. After I received my furniture I had issues and when I filed claims to have things fixed with the $200 - $300 per item that I paid, conveniently everything I had purchased was no longer in production and because they no longer carried that item I was told they could not fix it.
Why was I offered insurance on items that were not going to be covered? They know what items will and will not be in production! If you know that an item will no longer be produced then let your customer know “This item isn’t covered by the insurance we are trying to get you to pay because we won’t be making it anymore.” It was a total scheme to get more money out of me. Ashley Furniture is a scam, they are deceitful, and they take advantage of their customers. DO NOT PURCHASE ITEMS FROM THEM!

I asked in a 45 minute chat 7 different ways if they offered assembly. (Bad knees just can't do). Gave the exact specific item details including the description and item number to "Leo **" customer service rep. He said he double checked and IF the order states assembly required the delivery team would deliver and assemble.. The cost was included in the price of the unit. Well once you go to the cart to check out in fine print... Needless to say, even with the printed chat... No assistance at all.

I Purchased table/chair set and 5 yr Warranty (Extend) to repair/replace any damaged item. One of my chairs was deemed not repairable. Extend refused to replace damaged chair, returning full $$ for “in store credit” for entire table set replacement and ending my 5 yr warranty. I didn’t need nor could I accommodate a second full set! I only needed one chair replaced which according to the store manager was available to me. Don’t buy Extend Warranty as they breached their warranty when refusing to REPLACE a damaged item and ended my 5 yr warranty!

We just received the Willowton bedroom suite. The foot board is cracked on one leg, dresser has no holes for mirror and mirror frame has no holes to screw onto bracket, chest came with the back of it not completely attached and sliding barnwood door the one slider wheel is pushed down in particle board! Furniture IS NOT real wood. It's particle board! Rollers are barnwood door are plastic and legs on dresser and chest are plastic! If I didn't have to rate them I wouldn't. I called Ashley Furniture. They gave me a email to email with an invoice and picture and that if I didn't hear back from them in a week to call them. I have waited mths for this furniture and am sleeping on box springs and a mattress on the floor and now I have to wait longer! These people don't care about their customers. They just want your money!!!!

Less than two years ago, I purchased a bedroom set with a mattress. On my purchase was told that I had a Year’s of Ashley’s warranty on everything I bought, and they offer me to buy a 5year insurance for anything else that would break or get damage after the one-year mark. It’s been a year and a half and the nightstand in the bedroom set broke. The drawer is not closing since the metal broke off. I called the insurance. That was a $500 extra for five years. Said that my problem was not cover by them. Please do not buy from this company. Be really careful with the extended warranties. They will cover nothing. This is what the insurance message me when they delivered my case.

I walked into a Mesa store to purchase, two months before my move to assure I would have my new couch in my new place. A few days before my move, I received a notification that it would be delayed three weeks. I cancelled the order and thought I could go into another Ashley store to purchase another couch to be delivered faster. This couch was also delayed almost three weeks and only part of the set was delivered. I’m calling the store to discuss a solution ana no one will return my call or answer the phone. At this point I’m ready to return this couch and never buy there again.

I recently had an issue with a bed foundation that I ordered, based on the recommendation of the online customer service representative who sold me my bedroom furniture. I did not require a foundation based on the type of bed I ordered. I spoke to several people before I finally reached the person who made sure that my order could be both returned and refunded appropriately.
A gentleman by the name of Jason **, who is the Retail Customer Care Representative Lead, very patiently discussed the situation via email, and he always followed-up to provide me updates on the status of my request to return the merchandise. He sent very nice individuals to pick up my foundation, and he made sure I received a refund back to my payment source. Jason definitely lives up to the title of "Customer Care Representative Lead" and Ashley knew what they were doing when they hired him. I actually like how Ashley Furniture looks but I am extremely upset about their furniture warranty. They sold me coverage and told me it covers everything. No worries warranty but then I tried to use it and now I find out it doesn't cover the supports pieces to bed and of course that is what broke. And they never give you the terms and conditions when they are trying to sell you the warranty because you would find out it only cover the weld joints lol and if you knew it pretty much covers nothing of concern you wouldn't buy it. They don't tell you it's an accumulation clause in there.
They say you can call multiple times to receive service over the 5-year period but you need to call with 30 days of a incident. You have a 5-year warranty but if you don't call within 30 days you are out of luck. Lol, insanity. I had some damage from my fiancé's skin product but because it was several rings it's an accumulation and they don't cover it.
Now what is hilarious is no matter if it was 1 spot or 2 spot in the same area you would still have to sand that area and restain but yet it's just another reason to not honor the warranty and keep as much money as possible. I spent $1000 on a warranty and received nothing in return. If Ashley Furniture has any integrity they would give their customers all the information about what is not covered and what will void their lackluster warranty so people can make a better decision. If they are just trying to take as much money from everyone and do not care if people return as a customer keep doing what you are doing.

We purchased a living room set and 2 bar stools. Margaret ** was a excellent sales lady. She was very professional and helpful. Highly recommend her if you're in Waynesboro, Va. Look her up at Ashley's.

We purchased a dining room table and chairs. The chairs are fine. The table has a leaf that folds up on hinges. Two of the hinges arrived torn out of the composite wood, which is made to look like solid wood. Have been calling, calling, calling, calling....and calling. Keep getting same bull. Client services will contact me within 48 hours. Guess what Ashley....you got the wrong one this time. I'm not going to stop, until you do the right thing and replace this table!!!

**DON'T BUY FROM ASHLEY*** They do not do refunds!!!! It is their policy and you sign it on the "contract" to buy the item. I was told my "customer service" that all sales are final. I have been dealing with them for a month and was told I could not get a refund on a broken piece of furniture (actually 2 broken, because they replaced the first one with another broken on). I was told they can escalate the issue if the third server is faulty. I'm furious and here is the story...We bought a server/buffet/sideboard. It has 3 doors and a marble top (faux I believe). Buying was an experience. I was told by the sales person that he "saved" me $50 on shipping. I was glad for that. Turns out all he did was lower the level of service and they did not assemble the furniture when it was delivered. That is not "savings" and I was not pleased!
Delivery scheduling was easy the first time but the first server arrived with crooked doors and a broken top. I called to get it replaced and was told I had to file a claim online. It was overly complicated and didn't work so I had to call a different number. They were somewhat helpful in walking me through the online process, nothing can be done over the phone, evidently. A couple of days later I got an email that the piece would be replaced. Great. A week and a half later...good grief. It took 3 days to get it to me the first time and 5 times that long to replace it. Meanwhile, I'm left with a broken server in my way (eventually moved it to the garage myself but I also had all of the stuff sitting around on the counters that belonged in the new server).
The replacement server arrived the day assigned, but 4 hours late at 10:45 PM, yes, PM!! I had to call the store because their ridiculous "claims" or issues chat system doesn't take calls or messages after 5pm. The Very kind man at the store, Tim, helped me get in touch with the driver, Kevin, who was also very kind and helpful. They delivered the new server, and took the broken one. However, the doors on the replacement server were also crooked and couldn't be opened without damaging the door's edges because they rubbed on the frame.
Kevin tried to fix them and said they would have to send out a repair person. Again I had to deal with the nearly useless system to get someone to come out again! After MANY emails and texts back and forth, someone was schedule for a few days later for 7am-10am Saturday morning. I got up early to be ready for them to arrive and then got a cancellation text that the worker was sick and they rescheduled again, 4 more days. So, now it has been over a month since we purchased our server and it is still not functional and will have to be replaced again if the doors cannot be repaired properly. I will be asking for a refund if that is the case.
To sum it all up, won't be doing business with Ashley again. The customer service has been horrible. It is hard to get anyone on the phone and online contact is slow and if you don't respond very quickly they close the conversation and you have to start over. It's VERY frustrating and so unnecessary!! The $1500 server appears to be low quality or poor quality control and it is not worth the frustration. Shop elsewhere.
