My fiancée and I purchased $5400 worth of living room furniture on July 7th. We were told 3-4 weeks for delivery which we thought was a bit excessive, but we went with it. I just got a call thinking we'd be getting our furniture soon only to be told there was a delay and now it's "maybe next week". MAYBE! I'm livid right now. We have an entire home we furnished with new furniture and appliances but nothing in the living room. And not even a definitive day and time? We get "maybe next week". This is unacceptable!

Bought a living room set. Had a problem in 2 weeks. Went back. Talk to the manager. Didn't seem to care, offered to replace the same crappie furniture. Why would I want the same crap! Next time I'll go to RC Willey get Quality Furniture. People will work with me there! Manager at Roseville store didn't seem to help. Very unsatisfied. Stay clear of Ashley Furniture!!!

This company is absolutely horrible. I bought over 2,200 dollars of furniture from them 3 years ago. I bought the 5 year protection plan and tried going to them cause this sofa is cheaply made and didn’t hold up. I got rips all over it from it just not holding up. I contacted them and they said the protection plan only worked for if you had a accident. Don’t ever buy the plan. It’s just a scam to make money. Also the furniture is cheaply made.

I bought $3,000+ in furniture from here and it was the worst experience I ever had. I bought a sectional couch, entertainment center, 3 bar stools, and a 3 piece desk. The day I was in the store buying my furniture I went through the furniture numerous times with the sales person to make sure I was getting the correct stuff. I was told nothing was in stock so everything would have to be ordered and it would take about 2 weeks. Over 2 weeks later I still hadn't received a call for my furniture to be delivered. You guys had another sale going on so I was price checking to see if anything was cheaper. The entertainment center was cheaper than what I bought it for which is the only positive thing that happened with this experience.
As I was going through the rest of my receipt I was reading the descriptions and noticed the 3 piece desk I bought was incorrect. I called customer service to ask about the price difference of the entertainment center and I got the response, "So what do you want me to do? A price check?" I said yes. She put me on hold and she came back and said it was the price I bought it for, and I told her online it has this price she said, "there is nothing I can do for you." So I asked to be transferred to someone else who could actually do their job correctly. I spoke to a gentleman who was very helpful and let me know I was going to have to go into the store to get the credit back. I then asked him about my 3 piece desk.
He explained that the wrong desk pieces were ordered and I would need to fix that when I went into the store also. I live in Marana, your store is not close to me at all so it was very inconvenient that I had to take time out of work to go over and straighten all of this out. I spoke to the manager and he straighten everything out for me. But of course the 3 piece desk I wanted was more expensive than what I got charged for the first time. No one offered any type of discount or just not charging me extra for the desk for all of this inconvenience I have already had to go through. I didn't want to make a big deal out of this but it's getting a little ridiculous at this point.
So while I was waiting in the store for the financial stuff to go through I asked the manager to check and see when my furniture would be coming in. He informed me that my furniture had been in stock the whole time.... Are you guys kidding me?!!! I sent up my appointment for today 8/5. I made arrangements with work so I could be around today, the guys showed up and were very respectful but this was all good to be true. The desk of course was messed up and sent with the wrong parts. Again, are you guys kidding me?!!!
So a woman called me asking if they can deliver it tomorrow and I said, "No. I have to go into work. Can I come pick it up myself today because at this point I have no faith in you guys getting me the right furniture anymore." She told me no I couldn't come pick it up today. So now I have to wait until Sunday to hopefully get the right part so I can actually use the desk that I have been waiting for for a month now. You guys are terrible and I won't buy furniture from you again and I will advise others to do the same.

Sales in the store are excellent. However, when it comes to delivery and/or service, the right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing. If this had happened once, I could understand an employee making a mistake. For delivery, I was told if the time frame did not work, I could let them know and they could change it. Not so! They schedule for an entirely different day and the customer never has a choice as to the time frame. It is all based on delivery addresses. My sectional arrived and one piece cannot even be connected to the rest of the sectional because part of the sectional is warped.
I scheduled for a service call. The soonest they could get me in was two weeks later. I explained that my daughters had a dentist appointment in the morning and it would need to be in the afternoon. Again, I was told it was not a problem so I mentioned the delivery issue. I was assured this was not the case with service. Well, Ashley just called to confirm my service appointment for tomorrow morning. I called back and, after being on hold for 20 minutes, I was told they go by address location and, again, had to reschedule.

Ashley Furniture has completely lost my business. They lied saying they would update our info to the bank they are serviced through. Harry (our sales rep) told us the info was correct (other than my new phone number which I got after the couch) and apparently it was not. After about two months of no bill my husband went to the store because the phone wouldn’t get answered when we called and spoke to them and they told us they had the wrong address. How? Because the couch was delivered to the correct address oh but they reassured us it would get fixed. Next month still no bill.
I called them and asked which bank they are serviced through and they told me they can’t look that up and gave me alll of the banks and their phone numbers. So I called them all. Come to find out nothing was updated. They never spoke the Ashley and now they’re trying to charge me hundreds of dollars in late fees. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO ASHLEY BECAUSE THEY NOW DO NOT WANT TO HELP. I will be taking this further and getting a lawyer if needed.

My wife and I purchased a bed online that was supposed to be delivered 8/3/19 at 10:15AM. The delivery came an hour and a half early, woke us up Sat AM. We were unprepared, in our PJ’s, unshowered, hadn’t had breakfast yet and scrambled to disassemble our old bed and take it to the dumpster. Only after all that, the driver tells us he doesn't actually have a bed for us, just a head board. We of course refused the headboard. We ordered a bed, not a head board. We called the customer service number and they told us they would give us a refund for the delivery fee and we'd have the bed delivered first thing at 8am 8/4/19. We sleep on the floor that night. The next day comes. We wake up early on Sunday to be ready by 8AM. Hours pass. Still no bed.
We call customer service again and they tell us the driver somehow just 'didn't see us' on his list even though we were the first ones on there. I asked about the refund and they say they can’t give us a refund, only a gift card for $50. There were no notes in the system about the refund we were already promised. The customer service rep says they contacted the delivery guys and they'll deliver it same day in the afternoon between 2-3PM. We've literally sat at home all weekend and canceled all our plans to wait for this bed since the delivery time was constantly changing and not once was adhered to. 2-3PM comes and goes. No bed.
We call customer service again around 5PM and we explain everything a fourth time to a fourth person who also sees no notes about a refund OR the gift card. She tells me to call corporate on Monday when they’re open that there's nothing she can do about a refund. I guess the other employees were just making things up, since apparently they have no power to give refunds or gift cards. Finally after that phone call, the driver calls us and says he's coming. He arrives around 6PM. We finally have a bed. They assembled it quickly, I guess too quickly, because the headboard has a chip in it. This entire experience has been an absolute nightmare. Stay far far away from home delivery from this store.

I will never buy from them again. I purchased couch and loveseat in May. The very next day after delivered I called to complain. It’s now August and I’m still waiting as to get fixed. As they won’t return unless you pay 25% restocking fee. They repair before returning. Cushions are bunching staples coming out of back. And it creeks bad which by the way isn’t covered!!! I’ve been to the store several times and have got nowhere with them either. Customer care center is a joke. They just read off a script. Buyers be aware and do not purchase anything from this store.

I purchased a couch and loveseat from Ashley Furniture and chose to refuse delivery of the loveseat. I was told to contact customer service for my refund. I have called several times, waited on hold for 30 mins only to be disconnected. I was charged for something I do not have. DO NOT SHOP here. You get what you pay for. Better off paying a bit more elsewhere where they actually answer the phone.

Just about every piece of furniture I have purchased has had to be returned due to damage. I had to place a call to the Ashley Furniture store here in Greensboro NC to order another dresser (3rd one) and will probably be waiting another 2 weeks to get it. The furniture looks nice on display but when it actually arrives it's so flawed. As expensive as it is, it should be flawless when I get it. This is absolutely the worst furniture experience I have had.

We purchased items online and were given a delivery date via email. We were never told the item was on back order and the delivery has been delayed over 6 weeks! No apology, no offer of a discount and they told me to contact the distribution center to try to get a discount. The distribution center says to call online. It took me 3 days of calling and waiting over 35 minutes to get a representative. Awful customer service. It is August 2nd and I ordered June 25th, still no items.

I purchased a bed frame for my guest bedroom. It arrived today and was assembled by Ashley's delivery team. One of the delivery men referred to me in spanish as the chicka. I overlooked it. I wanted the bed assembled. The frame was assembled wrong and I didn't catch it until the drivers had left. They put the mattress on crooked and when I straightened it I saw the terrible job they did assembling the bed. I called right away hoping they could come back and do the job right. The driver said he had 3 more stops in the area so I didn't think this would be difficult. Customer service said they are already back at the warehouse and couldn't come back. Somebody is telling a tale.
They offered a technician on the 8th of August. I'm having a guest arriving on the 3rd. Ashley's customer service supervisor Sabrina, at the Phoenix call center, could not have cared less about my guests or about me. She couldn't even fake it. I will never make another purchase from Ashley Furniture! If I could I would return every stick of furniture I bought from them and go to another store. I am very disappointed.

I paid cash for a dinning room set Ashley Furniture at their Lithonia Georgia store in July 2019, and I’ve been treated like crap because the color of the furniture in the store was different when the furniture was in my house. My husband signed for the furniture, and NO one at Ashley told me that once the furniture was signed for that it was up to the manager of the store to take it back or not, nor was I told that Ashley does NOT honor a 3 day right to return policy if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase. I called the store 3 hours after the furniture was delivered to tell the store manager that I needed to return the dining room set, and that I would come right back in and get the set that I knew would work in my home. The store manager said NO. I couldn’t return it. I told him I’d pay the restocking fee and delivered pickup, he said NO. I am so heart broken to be treated SO badly by a store that I loved to shop at.
Can someone at a higher level please help me get the dinning set returned and the right one from Ashley in my house. I’m not asking for a refund, and just want to exchange the furniture. Please Ashley Owners, please make this right for me.
Respectfully,Dorothy

I opened an Ashley credit card account with a $2000 limit earlier this year. I took my time looking at their website, trying to figure out what I would be buying to furnish my new home. When I finally went to make a purchase, several months later, my credit card did not work. When I called customer service to find out what the problem was, I was told that I did not utilize the card quickly enough and the account was closed and that I was welcome to reapply for an account!! I've never heard of this kind of policy before, will NEVER buy another thing from Ashley.

***Long Review Alert*** Summary: Ashley Furniture has THE WORST customer service. I was essentially given the giant middle finger for 10 weeks trying to get a replacement part and/or refund. DON'T SHOP AT ASHLEY FURNITURE. It will come broken and they will not fix it. They don't give a crap about you, go literally anywhere else. PLEASE. In Chicago I purchased a high top table for my new apartment. I went in the store to find it but they did not have it in stock. So they ordered online for me and sent it to my apartment. Once it was at my place I immediately put the table together and notice two broken pieces. I called customer service to get replacement parts. They told me I'd receive them in 2 weeks and so I thought it was settle. BUT THIS WAS JUST THE BEGINNING.
After 3 weeks of not getting any parts I called back. They said the parts would be shipped in another a week and I'd get them in two weeks. I called after a week to ensure the parts were shipped, but I was told no one had ordered any parts. At this point I'm obviously very frustrated. So I ask to have the parts ordered again, which I'm told will take another week to ship.
I call back again a week later. I'm told the parts weren't ordered (yet again) so a third person places the order (again). 2 weeks later I finally get a package....only to be the incorrect parts. I call back, the rep doesn't know why those parts were sent to me and to ensure it doesn't happen again I'm asked to send in pictures of the furniture over text. So I do, but literally no one ever replies to the pictures I sent. I even sent 5 subsequent messages asking for someone to reach out and no one did.
So I call again. I tell them I still don't have the parts I need. I run through my story and tell them to look at the pictures I sent in. They don't see any pictures so what was the point of me sending them in? By this point I'm at week 8 and I ask for an escalation manager. I still want the parts but I also wanted a refund for the unreasonable wait and the excruciating customer service. I reach an escalation manager who says he'll call the store, solve my problem, and call me back. He never calls me back. I call him back asking why he never called; tells me he had training and just so happen was "about to call me" when I called in. Yea ok dude, I believe that. I'm once again told I'll get a call back with a solution.
Spoiler, I don't get a call. So I once again call this guy and he says that Ashley had just been sold and there's nothing he could do. I. Was. Livid. He connects me with HIS supervisor and she says she'll find a solution for me. I get a call from yet another person who says they can ship the parts (debatable) but can't get a partial refund for the trouble I've had. I ask to send my table in for a full refund, she says I can't because it's past 72 hours. She tells me I have to take it into the store I physically picked up the table from.
I'm told Ashley has only two options: to pick up products in store or have someone deliver and assemble for me. Which is a blatant lie - I had the table delivered in a box to my apartment and I assembled. The computer says I picked it up in store - which is another blatant lie. She again says there is nothing she can do about the refund but can send parts. I asked if someone can come out and bring parts/install for me so I'm confident the table isn't unbalanced. I'm told that's not an option - I would have to bring in the table to the store myself. Then she just hangs up after "apologizing" but not really caring about this interaction. Don't shop here, they don't deserve your money.

Don’t buy from them!!! Overpriced and poor quality. Purchased an expensive bed from them about a year again and can’t even sleep on it because the middle of the mattress has sunk. Called about warranty and they send someone out to inspect and said that it is sunk in the middle but not enough to replace under warranty. I guess it is perfectly normal for you to roll to the middle of your bed when you lay on it because the middle is sunk in. Maybe someone should tell that to my neck and back that hurts daily due to their poor quality products!!!

Major Vent Warning: I bought an Ashley Electric Rocker Recliner in May, due to shipping issues getting it here, it took about a month. So I've had the recliner about a month, maybe 5-6 weeks... Well last night the damn thing got stuck in the fully open position. (Pause for laughter) After putting my body into positions it hasn't seen in decades, I managed to remove myself from the crevice I was in. (It wasn't pretty) I got online to troubleshoot my problem... Easy peasy right? Yes, however, none of the video solutions worked. I think it's the transformer. Fine, it can be replaced so...
Today I called Amazon, who promptly gave me Ashley's Customer Service #.. Dialed up Sheneka, who promptly told me that she would send a Technician out. (More pause for laughter) I explained that I would not be paying $1200.00 (the cost of an airline ticket to my little slice of heaven in the Bering Sea of Alaska) and that I would just like help figuring out how to get it CLOSED so I can at least sit in it, while I troubleshoot/fix or wait for the parts to arrive.... Sheneka was very helpful but informed me that she couldn't help me because I hadn't bought the damn thing from Ashley directly. She did give me a ridiculously long complicated email address and said they "might" be able to help me. DL_AFI_ARC_Eccdist@AshleyFurniture dot com. If you have more than one underscore for your email address, you need to rethink your I.T. employee choices. (Just my opinion)
So if you are considering buying a name brand from Amazon, you might want to find out about their policies on Customer Service BEFORE you do. ME? I will no longer be an Ashley Furniture Customer. At the very least, how about a quick release handle or SOMETHING to close the ** thing! Rant over! No helpful comments please, unless you're an Ashley Repairman with a private jet and need my address. Update: today I received an email response saying I had to contact Amazon. My question remains, IF Ashley can't tell me how to close the rocker recliner THEY design and manufactured, how is Amazon going to be able to? Ridiculous.

DON’T BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS. We were scammed by Ashley’s. We bought a bedroom from them and the foot board was damaged. Also the staff didn’t assemble it correctly and I had to pay someone to come do so. We also bought a table and six chairs and when it arrived it was actually small for the room. I told the delivery guy we didn’t want it. He said they can’t take it back and if we called Ashley’s within 72 hours they’d take it back and offer a reselect. I did call within 2 hours and asked for a reselection on the overpriced furniture but the customer service were not helpful at all stating a ‘no return policy‘ (which was not written anywhere, and they were not clear about). The irony is the contract we signed and their website has a 72 hour Happiness Guarantee with 1 time reselect.
I called the next day, the customer service were not helpful again and and talked to the supervisor. After talking to her about the size of the table she also kept stating the same stupid policy line, which they should teach to their drivers rather than customers. In the end she asked me for pictures of the table which we sent hoping they’ll review it for a reselect (we actually wanted to get a more expensive piece of furniture). Later that day received a call that our request was not approved. Thanks for nothing Ashley.
We just moved to Lexington and were planning on buying the rest of our furniture from Ashley’s, however they just lost a customer. Happiness guarantee? I call BS. Customer service sucks. Delivery service had lack of transparency and would lie to avoid doing some work. The sales personnel are not clear about their policy and would also lie to sell something extra.

First I would like to say that I am a big fan of Ashley Furniture. In fact, my whole house is furnished with all Ashley furniture. In February of this year (2019) my Husband and I went into the Dover, Delaware store and was greeted by a gentleman named Will. Although I did not buy anything at the time, I really did enjoy myself with, Will. My Husband and Will was acting up and if I didn't know either of them, I would have thought they were life long friends. Will really made our experience a great one. We explained to Will that we were waiting to close on our house before we purchased anything. He gave us a price and directed us to lay down on the mattress we want to buy and asked us to give him a minute. We waited for about 10 to 15 minutes and he came back to us with even a better price.
He also explained to us about a new protection plan they have. I had gotten the protection plan on my other furniture and was not pleased with it at all but Will insured us that this is a different and much better plan, so we wanted it as well. He gave us his card and added a young lady's name to it named Kiesha. He explained that if we come back and he is not there, we can ask for her. My husband and I went back to the store today 8/1/2019 and no one greeted us and everyone was on their phones or sleeping. We walked around the store for 20 minutes until being approached by a gentleman that looked high and smelled like **. I asked for Will and he said, "he ain't here no more because he got fired." That was a shock to us both.
My husband asked for Kiesha and we were told that she is off today. Then he went on and asked us what we was looking for. We explained to him what we wanted and showed him the card with the quote Will had given us. He looked at it and said wait a minute and left us standing there. We was looking at the T.V. screen that has your products on it. We stood there for a long while. My husband finally said to me that he was ready to go. Just as we was walking out the door, the guy who was talking to us just looked up at us and said "have a nice day guys." That was the worst experience my husband and I have ever had in any store we've been in.
If you don't drug test your employees, you should because as I said, he was clearly high and he reeked of **. He never gave us his name or helped us with anything. He just walked away from us and never came back. I am truly displeased with the customer service we received today. I don't know the circumstances for Will to be fired but number one, that was not my business and it was extremely disrespectful for him to say that. All he had to say is that Will no longer works here.
In my opinion, you fired the wrong person. The one who made us feel at home is gone and the one who made us feel like running away is still there. Well thanks to the extremely poor customer service and the sight of seeing your employees laying down and sitting down and being on their phones, you have lost a customer. I will always buy Ashley Furniture but the Dover, Delaware store will never get my business and as I said, we just moved here and for all the people I meet, I will let them know to never go to the Ashley Furniture store in Dover. I give the store minus five stars.

I therefore went to the store in person and Zac refused to even talk to me or the Customer service line representative. She had requested to talk to him. His statement was "his policy is no returns!" Very arrogant. I have contacted Corporate every day since then and they keep telling me the same thing, manager discretion on returns. I bought furniture at Ashley Furniture in Colerain Ohio on 6/29/2019. At that time they said all of my furniture would be delivered by July 17th (which was perfect because that is when I got the keys to my new house). On the 17th, they call and say that my sons loft bed and my king size headboard, foot board, and rails were not in stock. They would not be delivered on the 17th but would be there by the 31st. Today is 7/31 and my furniture did not arrive. I received an email asking me to confirm my delivery date/time (which I did) and that the furniture would be there between 1pm and 3pm. At 3:05pm they had never called. We called customer care who said the delivery people called and also showed up at my house, which is a lie considering the front door was being worked on all day and someone was at that door the entire day. I got nowhere.
I called the Colerain store and spoke with the manager who transferred me to customer care again. Katie gets on the phone is as rude as rude can be. It was 4pm when I called. They said the delivery drivers were already done working. Well, they didn't deliver my furniture, so they clearly weren't done working. I called the store again and they said the soonest they could get my furniture to me would be another week. I am going to cancel my delivery and return the furniture. I also told them I am going to return what was already delivered since my bedroom set matches and I never got the bed. The "manager" told me that there is a 50% restocking fee. I have never had this bad of an experience with ANY store. Ashley furniture is a joke and I will NEVER recommend anybody to purchase from them. Horrible customer service!

I upgraded the mattress to two twin long plus the base with the massage. They sent the wrong base. Called customer service and the rep had the nerve to tell me I am to call back tomorrow after 2pm to set up a new delivery. Why should I call back? It’s you that supposed to call me? You screwed up. Spoke to the rep who sold me the bed. He was very nice and will be assisting me. I will never purchased from Ashley again. Will also be closing my credit card. I will go back to Macy's.

At the Ashley store my salesperson told us how wonderful the "White Glove" delivery option would be if we paid $149.00 + tax. He explained that the delivery people would put on white booties & white gloves, clean up any mess, reposition our old furniture... As soon as the delivery men arrived one man asked where we would like our existing furniture to go, I told him the basement. He went to the basement & moved a table, lamp, & pictures & left the light on. 2 men then moved in the new furniture into the living room, removed the packaging & left a mess on the floor including a nail. They were about to leave when I mentioned the old furniture needed to go to the basement. The response was... it wasn't on the order & they had to be at their next delivery in 3 minutes.
So I was left with a mess, the basement having been rearranged for the old furniture, no white glove/booties & 2 abrupt delivery men that only cared about leaving asap. I called my Salesperson (a very nice guy Kyle) & he had put special instructions to have the old furniture repositioned. He was very sorry & instructed me to call Guest Care. So, I called Guest Care & the best they could do is have delivery back maybe the next day to reposition old furniture or 1/2 of the $149.00 + tax. I asked to speak to a manager as neither option was satisfactory, I wanted the entire White Glove delivery off the bill. The only thing these 2 men did that is not included in free delivery was take the packaging off the new furniture & screw on the legs. For $149.00 I would have gladly taken off the packaging & screwed on the legs! Worst delivery service ever!!!

So I decided to buy new furniture for my home. Went in, placed order 45 days prior to move. Ashley contacted me 4 days prior to delivery to say none of my items were ready!!! This is like my whole downstairs kitchen and dining room. I had a party planned a couple days later so I had to cancel my party after invitations had gone out. They gave me 200.00 for not being able to make it. Day of delivery they arrive to wrong address (old address) then they show and only have my end tables???? Then another truck shows later that day with rest of house after being over 3 weeks later from original date!! Only to be used furniture when I say there was damage to everything. I mean damage to everything, scratches, missing stain, just horrible!!!
So I call and complain. They offer to replace everything. Give me replacement date only to call 2 days prior and reschedule and say it wasn’t ready again???? At this point I’m over it. I told them to discount the furniture and send me back the money. I will keep the damage stuff. Worst mistake of my life. My tables are peeling. My end tables have continued to peel. The worst quality ever for the price you pay!! Total rip off. My order was over 2,000. What a waste!!!

We had to wait a month for a dining table and cabinet to be delivered. They called the day before to say our dining table was damaged and they would call back with another delivery schedule. The next day they not only did not bring the table, but also failed to bring a side cabinet and the drivers had no info. The call center is closed on Saturday so we had to wait till Monday for them to say it would be another month before they could redeliver. I think they oversold both items and lied to us. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars because the mattress is a good quality, otherwise it would be 0 if it was based on Ashley selling tactics, my buying and delivery experience. When I was in a store salesperson asked me if I need a box spring with the mattress. I told him we have a Bunkie Board with frame, and I’m not sure if we need a box spring and how thick. At this point he should of gave few options like go home and measure it, or you only need one box spring or Bunkie Board and if you are not replacing Bunkie Board you don’t need box spring and last option order it and when it is delivered and it doesn’t look right DO NOT sign for it and refuse delivery. If you accept delivery and sign for it you can’t return it. NONE of this options were given to me.
Second problem delivery: When mattress and box spring were delivered and installed delivery person took a picture and said looks good, as soon as I saw how it looks I told him this will not work. It is too high (bed height was 45 in from the floor), I can’t use box spring on top of my Bunkie Board and I can’t remove Bunkie Board because the box spring and mattress will be on the floor. At this point delivery man could have told me, "You have an option of refusing delivery." He DIDN'T. What he did is tried to leave as soon as possible and asked to sign for delivery, I was stupid and signed it, and called the store right away.
By the time I got a person on the phone delivery man left. I explained what happened to Ashley person, she asked me, "Did you sign for delivery" and I said YES. Her reply was, "You should not have done this. Now there is nothing we can do," I explained that I didn’t know about not signing for delivery, she told me, "You signed. NOTHING CAN BE DONE." I learned a hard lesson for $320 that Ashley Furniture doesn’t care about customers and will not explain all your options or help you figure out what you need.

I recently bought 5 piece bedroom set from Ashley Furtinure. First, they are damn costly, you can find better stuff for less outside. Second, the deliveries are late. Third, you will be delivered a defected piece and then offered 40$ for settlement. When the product arrived after 2 weeks, it was damaged to core. The head board has cracks and it was broken from the back. So it has to be sent back and the next delivery is only after 10 days.
So the guys did not even installed the stuff because it was not fully delivered. So, after 10 days the new board arrived. That also looked like it is a refurbished one as you could clearly see the spray paint on the head board. So, I informed the delivery guy and he took the picture and created a ticket for me. He informed me that I shall take this one otherwise I may have to wait another 2-3 weeks to get a new one. And the ticket is open is customer care the shall replace this head board.
Now the guy comes in for inspection, and he says that there is no damage and it can be repaired. My question to him was, I paid full price for a brand new item that should be delviery without defect to me and the defect is not because of me, it is delivered defected and notified the same day. Why should I get a repaired head board when I paid full for a new set. They offered me 40$ off the invoice price for settlement. I have paid ~3000 for the set and was offered 40$. This is bizzare. When I rejected the offer to repair the bed, they seems to have closed the case as well.
This seems to me like that this is a scam and they might be selling floor models in boxes to customer for full price and then repair in their houses after delivery. This thought comes from the back both the pieces delivered after damaged and defect upon delivery. If I would have not noticed since they were on the back of headboard then they would have been called as damage caused by myself. You could get better, cheaper and nicer stuff from outside rather than going to Ashley.

After the very nice sales man at the North Point store, everything else went horrible....I made a nice order to furnish an Airbnb property, I mentioned it's vacant and delivery must be arranged with me. It was set July 12 between 10am to 1pm, I am an hour drive away and planned on being there 30 minutes earlier. Just got in my car and I get a call at 8:40 from my contractor that just happened to come that morning that they are here unloading, I said wait I need to tell them which bed is going to which room...they didn't care and continued setting up the way they wished which was very inappropriate.
One of the beds that was put together was not aligned and slots where drilled, on the edge of the base wood and split it in half, last slot was too short, other beds were rocking, all screws were loose. I wanted the brown sofa for the living room and the gray sleeper sofa to the small bedroom, they did it the other way around and then decided that the other sofa did not fit and they loaded it on the track. I thought they could fit it and could exchange them but they refused. So now missing one bed and one sofa I went shopping again. They said I have to call CS for picking up the broken bed - I called the 800 and for 25 minutes no one picked up.
I went back to the store and they set up the pick up for the following week, meanwhile the photo shoot day was postponed. Finally text message arrived for pick up time 7/18, 3-7pm. At 12pm I'm getting a call from a rude guy to tell me that no one is here. I said no one is supposed to be here. I will be there at 3pm. He threw some words at me but I was in a convention and was not able to come sooner. My contractor was in and out in the last few days so he happened to come while they were waiting, they followed him in, packed the bed and... the living room sofa, I went out of my mind, they were not supposed to take the sofa out just the broken bed.
So now the photo shoot postponed again and I'm again out shopping for a new sofa. This is the short version of the story. Many upsetting things were related to this ordeal. The store CS is useless on the phone so I went to the store again that evening to get refund but my first payment of $100 did not show on the statement. They said it will when I get the 1st invoice which I thought it was odd, I hope it will. They were not nice at the store either. The amount of time and aggravation I spent over this was not worth any deal, and I could get this deal or better somewhere else anyway. I hope that someone at this company reads those reviews and learn something to improve, too many bad reviews. This is not fair to the consumer. Needless to say - Ashley Furniture Never Ever Again!!!

I wish I could select NO star to rate this store and business as a whole! I bought a 2-piece sectional sofa from here in April. Once it got delivered I have various problems as associated with the sofa and loveseat, therefore, while the delivery men were at my residence, I called customer service to report the problems (via word of mouth and with photos from the delivery man’s phone because I could not reach customer service) and they reassured me that a technician could fix them all. I set up an appointment the following Friday for the technician to come out, and no one showed up. I called customer yet again and they said they had no record of my conversation (of course)! So I went through the whole process again, and they assigned yet another technician to come out. When the technician came, he looked at the couch and ordered supplies to supposedly “fix” the sofa and loveseat.
After weeks, the supplies came, and I had to schedule another technician to come out to fix the couch. ”Get it in showroom condition.” When the technician came out he fixed some of the problems but the two pieces, the sofa and loveseat do not fit flush! Therefore after calling customer over and over again, all they did was send out more technicians! After about 3 more technicians came over the course of months, the final reported that the loveseat frame was damaged therefore they finally authorized a new loveseat attachment for the sofa. Weeks later (today July 19) a new loveseat arrived and IT STILL WILL NOT FIT FLUSH TO THE SOFA! So it doesn’t take months and multiple technicians to figure out that BOTH THE SOFA AND LOVESEAT FRAMES ARE DAMAGED! And that’s why they won’t fit flush!
But I called customer service yet again upon delivery of the loveseat and the automated recording said they open at 7am, but the delivery guy had to call someone and she said I have to call back at 9am! So I still don’t have a nice FOUR MONTHS LATER looking sofa and have to go through the process of multiple technicians to get approval for a new sofa to go with a loveseat whenever I get another one again. I am irritated, inconvenienced, and down right furious that I have had a damaged sofa since I bought it. Only if I would not have let customer service talk me into keeping the sofa because they promised to fix it after they delivered it, I probably wouldn’t have this problem. THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST FURNITURE COMPANY I HAVE EVER PURCHASED ANYTHING FROM!
I have left horrible reviews on multiple sites, and have also reported them to the better business bureau! I plan to take my complaints up further, because I paid over $1000 for a DAMAGED couch from a supposedly “reputable” company. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE AND I URGE OTHERS TO SPEND THEIR MONEY ELSEWHERE!

No one tries to help. We finally have a confirmation for the return but no one will pick it up! It is so frustratiing. We purchased a custom made sofa and loveseat a little over a year ago. The trim on both pieces was not even, but I could straighten it out somewhat until the sofa cushions started breaking down and becoming distorted. I called the local store and they said that, since the furniture was purchased over a year ago, there was nothing they could do. I stopped in to talk with the CS rep, and she found that I had purchased a 5-year warranty and to contact the Furniture Care Protection to discuss replacement of the cushions. I did talk with someone who gave me an authorization number and said I would get a call about my claim the following week. Two weeks later I called back and was told it was every day wear and tear and not covered. After spending close to $2,000 on these 2 pieces and getting very poor quality, I am very disappointed with Ashley! I would suggest to anyone not to purchase anything at this store.

I purchased a sofa and recliner that were defective the minute I received my furniture. I contacted the store and was told that once sale was complete they could not help me anymore. My sofa has a huge gap on the right side and the cushion on the left side has to be replaced. Mind you this was purchased on June 19, 2019 and all these issues happened on June 24th.
On July 5th tech came out and said cushion needs to be replaced. Back had to be redrilled and couch is still wide open in back. Was told that is the way furniture is. But this is not what shown to me at day of purchase. People save your money and do not shop at Ashley Furniture. Go elsewhere. All these problems less than a month. Now recliner cushion has to be replaced. Corporates office is no help. They are wanting more pictures of furniture. Supplied all photos and they will not help one out so once again poor service and customer care. DO NOT SHOP AT ASHLEY. NOT HONEST PEOPLE.

They're in the box and need to be returned so the right ones can be ordered. Ashley Furniture tells me that a manager will call me. No one has called. I've emailed - no response. I've used their online chat - that experience was like talking to an elementary classroom bully who wouldn't even provide their name. This issue should be very simple. They tell me that I can return the items with a manager approval but no manager. Why the run-around? They're not going to lose money, but after this treatment, I will send it back without approval, dispute the charge, and never buy from them again.

Save your money, shop somewhere else. Ashley delivered poor quality furniture. I have been arguing with them for a year to fix issues that should have been covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The Manufacturers Warranty does NOT include 1. Fabric, 2. Zippers, 3. Stitching, 4. Uneven cushion fill, 5. Incorrect Assembly, 6. Wicker that didn't get wrapped around the frame, 7. Chairs that were not bolted together properly.
They essentially warrant nothing. If you do purchase something, you better make sure it is perfect before the delivery guys leave. And don't bother with the extended warranty. Read it carefully before you buy it. It doesn't cover anything either. It had been disappointing to say the least. I spent a lot of money on furniture. I could have gone to Big Lots or WalMart and got better quality. The sales girl and the store manager were nice people, but are either ignorant or dishonest.

Within the process we probably had 6 techs come out in 5 months just trying to settle the sofa situation. They credited us $150 to use in the store and we bought a coffee table. Coffee table was picked up and set up and had chips and defects in the netting. The top of the table started to bubble within a month of having it & they told us that they don’t cover the bubbling or splitting of the wood pieces.... So I went through 9 months of frustrating issues with them to finally get 2 pieces of furniture and one of them I am stuck with with damages. I order a table from Ashley's and it did not fit in my apartment. When the movers came (an hour before the 4 hour time frame I was given) I told them I just finished spray painting the radiator by where the table was gonna be placed and did not want to get it on the table, so they assembled it but left it in the middle of my apartment floor. They snapped a picture that they assembled it then told me to sign to say it was delivered. 30 minutes after delivery the paint dried so we went to put it in the proper area and found out it did not fit, there was no room for the chairs to go and the table was pressed against the couch, so I called and asked if I was able to return cause I was under the impression that I had 3 days to report and return the item. I would just lose the delivery fee and have to pay another one for the return. They told me once it's delivered it's mine and I cannot return it, there's nothing they can do about it. Never once was I offered for it to be measured.
This place is disgusting. They also were trying to give me a hard time about removing the 5 year protection plan on a table I now have to sell, why would I need to pay 200 dollars for protection on a table I cannot keep. The 3rd day I called they finally gave me a number to call to remove that and those people even said Ashley's is disgusting for not taking the table back. Even when I first went in the store, the table was not available to see in person, the person selling me the table, told me there was 2 options, one option was 12 month payment with less money down but the payments would be more a month. The 2 second option was 60 months plan which would cost me 15 dollars a month with a higher down payment.
At first I chose the 60 months, until I went to sign the contract and realized the table would cost me 300 dollars more in total. He never made me aware of this. Just told me the down payment was different and when I pointed it out was told, "Yeah. Just a few hundred dollars more." Clearly only worried about his pay check. He also kept trying to sell me a mattress when I told him multiple times I did not need one. Mine was still pretty new since I bought it 2 years ago. I will never shop here again, I bought all my other furniture at Bob's and I love it from their customer service to their furniture, all the tables they had were even bigger than this one so I could not get a table from them. Even the movers for Bob's asked if they need to bring my mattress down 3 flights of stairs for me which I did not buy from them. I know where I will buy furniture from again and it will not be Ashley's.

Placed a different order in the NY Glendale store with separate delivery fee - was guaranteed delivery date of June 28.
June 19 - No call / delivery window. Called in and was told 'delivery was unscheduled due to system glitch'. Rescheduled to June 20.
June 20 - Same story - 'system glitch...unscheduled...' New date - 24.

After suffering a total loss due to a house fire, and walking into Ashley Furniture on Jonesboro Road in McDonough, GA with cash money from insurance proceeds, needing to replace everything in a house, making every effort to make the money go as far as it could for a family of eight, the salesperson made the tense situation easy. No problems there. Then you wait for delivery. That’s when your experience goes bad.
You can expect to NOT receive everything in your order, you can expect promises of future delivery dates NONE of which will be met. You can expect erroneous delivery of items not ordered, you can expect omitted hardware for the furniture that is delivered. You can expect ABSOLUTELY NO SATISFACTION FROM ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE as they claim they have no record of the erroneously delivered and broken item you received that you never ordered. Or they say they have reordered the expected dresser and nightstand hardware which you never receive, and you will not receive lamps already paid for even after being advised of THREE delivery dates, none of which are met.
So you seek higher-level expertise from corporate representatives. You will get no better results. So if you are buying furniture you actually wish to receive as marketed and promised, DO NOT deal with Ashley Furniture. You will be extremely frustrated in your efforts to get what you bought and paid cash money for, and you will be disappointed in the company’s attitude that after you pay, you cease to exist.

To the reader – good for you if you are proactive enough to read the reviews before you purchase anything because I didn’t. Lesson learned. Please enjoy the timeline below of the infuriating experience I had with Ashley Furniture. Long story short, when you are in the store trying out the furniture you like, you are supposed to know at that very moment that it will not be comfortable, and that you will have neck pain so intense that you have to schedule a therapeutic massage a week later (true story, neck still hurts even after that because I still have to sit on the damn couch). They don’t care to understand that I spent $2,000 and want to be satisfied with my purchase. Nope, that’s unreasonable. 6/11 5:00pm - delivery truck arrives, couch was delivered without a hitch. (Apparently I’m lucky after reading the rest of the reviews).
6/14 11:51pm - I called Ashley Furniture, asked to speak with a manager. No manager on duty. I requested more information on the policy to return the couch, as it was not comfortable and was causing me neck pain because our previous couch had a higher headrest, and I didn’t know that was something I needed until after I didn’t have it anymore. She told me that after it is delivered, there is not much they can do. I asked why they didn’t care about the customer satisfaction piece. She said she would refer this to management and explained the 30% restocking fee and the pickup charge policies. Was told someone would contact me within 72 hours.
6/15: Just to make sure my request wasn’t ignored, I went to Ashley Furniture and talked to Joe the manager to explain the situation. Was told he had no authority on the decision, that a regional manager would review and someone would call me within 72 hours. He explained the 30% restocking fee and the pickup charge policies. On a side note - the moment we started talking to Joe, he acted like speaking with us about this was the most annoying thing he has ever had to do. I gave them 4 days, no one called me.
6/19 1:26pm - called Ashley Furniture to asked to speak with manager. No manager on duty. Told them I haven’t heard anything and requested (more like demanded) that I need a manager call me back that day. Was told the manager was “away” but she would email another manager in the meantime to assist. No one called me.
6/20 12pm- Called Ashley furniture and office manager answered the phone (I almost fainted!). Said she “thought she may have seen something about this” (Nice! Then why didn’t you call me back?). Checked her email while on the phone with me. Said that my request was denied because we were past the 72 hour window. I disagreed as I had contacted them within 72 hours of having possession of the couch. Requested for a manager to contact me – someone who can actually make some decisions. She said she would reply to the email and dispute the decision, and that someone would contact me. No one called.
6/23 7pm – Went to Ashley Furniture and spoke with the sales manager, Alex. I voiced my frustration of feeling like I’m being completely ignored because no one ever calls me back. We asked him why they don’t care about customer service and asked what the actual process was for these approvals. He understood and stated that Ashley was just acquired by another company and all of the policies have changed. The staff isn’t even aware of what the new process is. Explained something about “we have to send emails and copy everyone” so then the ownership of the issue can be lost, or something to the effect of completely passing the buck and taking NO accountability. The receptionist chimed in and stated she did see an email sent on 6/20 disputing the 72 hour window, and that the decision was still with upper management.
We stated we weren’t just looking to get a refund and walk away, we would be buying another couch at their store and spending probably at least another grand. So we asked about the restocking fee and he stated that he agrees that the 30% was high and that he would request for management to either waive or significantly lower the fee percentage. He left us with the impression that they were going to make this right and the return would be approved and restocking fee would be negotiated. He promised that I’m now 2nd in line on his priority list of people to follow up with, and he would call me the next day “good, bad or indifferent”. I finally felt someone was taking me seriously and we were going to be taken care of.
6/25 4:45pm – Got a call from someone in the store “on behalf of Alex” explaining that there is nothing they can do for me. I asked what the reason was this time. She stated that it’s because nothing is wrong with the couch. I disagreed then asked why the first time they denied it was because of the 72 hours, but now that they had confirmed I did everything on time, the reason is different? And why is there no regard for customer satisfaction? She asked if I tried out the couch in store and why I signed off on delivery. There was a lot more dialogue but the only way she could answer my questions was with the response of “this is the decision I was given from management and they stated this case is closed and they will not consider looking into this further.” But then, she explained the 30% restocking fee and the pickup charge policies.
So I asked why they all keep telling me about that if there is nothing they can do? And why did Alex give us the impression that it would be approved and the restocking fee would be waived? She didn’t know. I basically got to the end of my patience rope and voiced my frustration by telling them I would NEVER be shopping there again, and neither would anyone in my friends or family circle. She said “that’s fine.” Then I said “this is **, I’m getting a lawyer.” Not one of my greatest moments, but I do have a legal benefit through work where attorney’s fees are waived so it wasn’t an empty threat at the time I said it. I told my dad about it and he said I should try to call Alex and speak with him directly.
6/26 12pm – called Ashley Furniture with my dad on the line so he could do most of the talking, asked to speak with Alex. Basically, Alex relayed that I ruined my chances of speaking with them further since I threatened a lawyer. We asked a bunch of questions, got a bunch of crap responses. Nothing they could do, they don’t care if I’m not going to shop there. He took no ownership of when he told me about negotiating the restocking fee because it was “before he knew all the details.” He gave me a “customer care department” to call if I want to speak with anyone further.
Fun fact – under the first paragraph in the return section of the sales receipt, it states “A restocking fee will be charged for all returns, including returns due to a customer’s change in preference of color, size, if the item does not fit, or any other reason.” Interesting that customers can return it because they don’t like the color, as that is something THEY SEE IN THE STORE! SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE – THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT YOU AFTER THEY GET YOUR MONEY. I’m not sure how they are even in business at this point. Hope they go down the tubes eventually. Karma is a you-know-what.

I could've just used my own credit card, had I known instead of getting a new card I will never use. I receive the furniture and didn't closely check everything and sign off on the paper. Then when I start filling the drawers I noticed a knob missing. I check other areas and there are chips on 3 of the 4 pieces of furniture. I call them and ask to have it replaced and they said, "no" because I signed off on it already. Still waiting on 2 more pieces. I was a little concerned about that initially, but I liked the idea of having something that is limited edition. My order was promised by May 12th, 2019, so I thought that's not too bad, right... Wrong, for it is now June 22nd, 2019, and when I called they displayed a severe lack of apathy, when they told me it will be more like July 21st, 2019! I purchased a Luxora sectional April 2019 at the Ashley store in Cumming, Georgia. I was hesitant due to the experience I had with a less expensive couch I bought for a basement years prior. The material rolled up into black fuzz balls. But I chalked it up to being used by kids. The couch I just purchased was supposed to be higher quality and I only bought it because the couch I really wanted was a bit higher in cost, but better quality. But since I have no kids at home anymore I figured the couch will hold up better. A few months after the fuzz balls appeared so I called and took the cushion in to Ashley. They referred me to the 5 year warranty, that the salesperson sold me telling me the fuzz balls will be covered. She lied for the sale.
The 5 year warranty doesn’t cover that....so I called Ashley again because it’s under the 1 year manufacturer warranty. I was told that Ashley won’t cover it and to get a razor and cut them off. It’s a year later I finally got Ashley to send a tech out and now they won’t cover it because it’s past the year warranty and the 5 year warranty doesn’t cover it. I spent $3500.00 on this couch that is only a year old and looks like crap. I will never purchase another piece of furniture from Ashley and I will ensure other consumers know about the product and the lying and lack of customer service I received!

I phoned the company to let them know that the left arm on the recliner was on crooked. I put a carpenter's level on the arm and demonstrated how the right arm was fine but the bubble on the level clearly showed that the left arm was off kilter. They sent a tech who said he could not fix it since the problem was definitely a factory defect - something covered under warranty on this chair that I only had 3 months. He also used a level and confirmed that the whole chair leaned since the arm was not on straight. He took photos and said it was now up to Ashley how to proceed.
They finally called me back to say the tech did not find this chair to be a problem and they would not repair or replace it. I will NEVER buy anything from them again and I will do my best to spread the word about how they do not stand by their promises or products. It surprised me to read good reviews by other people. Perhaps they are fake? I am adding here photos of the arm - one from the side and one overhead - with the level and the bubble that confirms how slanted it is.

I purchased a sofa in 2011 and Ashley reneged on the delivery date, I did my part and sold my existing couch to make room for the new one, didn't have a couch for over 2 weeks. They gave me 2 $100 gift cards for my trouble. On May 28, 2019 I purchased a bed frame, night table and dresser. Salesperson was super nice and helpful and promised delivery date at my convenience as long as I called 72 hours ahead of my desired delivery date. Dresser would take about three weeks for delivery however. Called up over 72 ahead and they said they were booked and I'd have to wait another week for the bed and nightstand. Had to cancel my existing bed pick up and new mattress delivery.
Delivery of bed and nightstand arrived as advised and all seemed ok and I tipped the delivery guys. Got a call from Ashley delivery to see how it went I said good. I happened to be working that day so it wasn't until later I went into the bedroom to prepare for my mattress delivery and when I shifted the bed one of the rails detached from the footboard. The technician didn't attach the rail correctly. I tried to connect it to no avail. It was like there was a defect in a very simple assembly. I then noticed the inside of one of the nightstand drawer panels was cracked. Then I noticed the techs left some of the packing debris on my walkway. Went to the dumpster to throw it away and discovered the techs threw the large boxes and packing in the dumpster practically filling it up.
Called the delivery phone number and advised them of the situation and they said they would have the store manager give me a call to see if they could get me a replacement bed and nightstand that day. No callback and then the mattress delivery guys got there. They tried but could not get the rail connected and they gave up and left my mattress on the floor.
I took another look at the rail and determined the rail bracket was put on misaligned with the footboard, so I took the bed apart, slats and all and detached the bracket, repositioned it and was able to get it connected mind you to put the bed back together it was at least an hour of work which the delivery tech could have saved me if he had cared to do his job. Then I installed the mattress and box spring myself and glued the cracked piece of the nightstand drawer. No call from Ashley so I went down to the dumpster and cut up the boxes to avoid people from getting upset and make room for their trash.
Called the Ashley store and they told me the manager was at lunch and would call me upon his return no call after 7 days. Called the store which makes you hold for half an hour while they tout how awesome they are. Finally got through to a manager who I told my experience to and he told me he really cared and seemed sincere. He offered me 2 $100 gift cards... I couldn't find the ones I received 7 years ago naturally, so I asked for $200 off my purchase and he gave me both. He also confirmed leaving items unassembled and trash on premises was not policy. Then I asked him to let me know when my dresser would be delivered since it was suppose to be delivered the next day, didn't hear back, text the manager and he said he would check on it, haven't heard back. Three weeks since my purchase. Pretty much a disaster!!!

I bought a new house and went to Ashley hoping for quality furniture and good service. I thought wrong. Bought a dining room set, master bedroom set, double bookcase bed, and a living room sectional and entertainment unit, all totalling over $13,000. Delivery was split in 3 due to the size of the order. Problem was the master bed had 2 right rails, so I slept on the mattress on the floor until they could figure out where the missing piece was, so I suggested that they delivered the bed if that was faster, which they did. The drawer on the bookcase bed couldn’t be assembled properly so a technician had to be called in to repair it. The entertainment unit had a broken piece, which had to be reordered. The sectional was ripped at the bottom so a technician had to be called to repair it.
My 3 delivery dates turned into 7 separate visits, which cost me money and time away from work waiting for deliveries and technicians. We thought at least the dining room set was ok, until we felt the nails sticking through the cushion, which I’m currently waiting on a replacement. Customer service at 18007373233 was called several time regarding the issues and compensation. We were told to wait until everything was delivered so they could determine an amount. I was skeptical and ready to cancel the remaining items but was reassured to wait. I waited and no one called after the last delivery. I called and was offered $150 to shop at Ashley. That’s the maximum they offer!! I couldn’t return any of the items because it was past the return window. The last item that I wanted to return cost over $2000. My move-in day is now 3 days away, and I contacted Ashley Furniture for a status update, only to find they had seemingly no idea when my furniture would come in, and told me that this is typical, that times change all the time, and that my current estimated arrival date was 6+ weeks from the day I ordered. I was also told that my order had not even officially been completed with their distributor, which is frankly absurd, because I placed the order 3 weeks ago. How does it take 3 weeks to place something in the queue for the distributor?
I am absolutely outraged. The person on the phone offered to replace my bedroom set for one that was in stock, or to ask for a refund, but with how slimy this business is, I can't even tell if either option would actually happen. I can't believe how stupid this company has made me feel, and how disrespected I am as a consumer. I thought it was too firm. She told me that the mattress had a return guarantee and could be returned in 30 days if I was not satisfied. I was back in less than a week after waking up sore every single day. We purchased a dining set a table and 6 chairs from Colton store. The chairs are wobbling. After repeated visits to store and phone calls they send a technician to fix. He was not able to fix and blamed the floor. Although we were using another dining set on the same floor without any problem. I will never recommend to any of my friends to buy any furniture from Ashley. Almas

First they tried to overcharge me for a used floor model, then I found the couch was selling for $300 less online for a new one. So I changed my order to get a new one. Then delivery was scheduled for once date. I was never told that it got cancelled, however I took time off of work for it. Then had to reschedule delivery and was told they could deliver late in the day, however when they called to confirm the delivery time it was for a time I was at work. Then I had to have it rescheduled yet again and waited another week. It took a month to get it delivered. Then it broke, customer service wont let me speak to a manager at all.
I’m ready to take the couch back to the store myself and shove up someone’s.... you know where I’m going here. It’s the WORST couch buying experience of my life. My previous couch came from Big Lots and lasted me 6 years and I gave it away. Ashley Furniture couch lasted a month and a half and broke on the side that was never even sat on. Now I have no furniture and waiting for them to repair said couch. I have to wait 7-14 business days.

Very good products, the seller's attention was excellent, but the delivery service, the worst I have ever experienced. A month ago I made my purchase of 2 thousand dollars, nothing cheap, and today I receive part of the furniture, in an hour that was not the one I chose for delivery. I still do not receive everything and I have no idea how much longer it will take. I would not recommend this company.

There is a need for awareness of the extreme lack of accountability, communication, customer service and overall terribly broken processes that are taking place within this organization. I feel the need to share my recent experience with order # ** totaling $2,666.37 which has been the worst ordeal I have ever had trying to simply get what I paid for. Instead, I paid to be inconvenienced, frustrated and upset. The total chaos began as soon as UPS delivered the first part of the order and has continued over the past THREE weeks!!
Wednesday, May 8th: Received partial order via UPS. Two night stands - one arrived damaged so I called to request a replacement and was advised to return the damaged furniture in the box for the replacement and call to schedule pick up for return of the defective unit. Headboard & mattress. Friday, May 10th: Received remainder of order via home delivery. Bed headboard/frame; 5 drawer chest - arrived with damaged foot & top drawer was missing the screw which holds the entire decorative front panel onto the actual drawer. The top drawer also only opened 1/3 of the way. I had to call to request replacement parts. Box spring.
Saturday, May 18th (evening): The bed headboard/frame that was professionally delivered and installed a week prior came apart as we were lying in bed watching tv and the headboard ended up damaged as a result from the screw ripping it wide open. Sunday, May 19th (first thing in the morning): I sent a very lengthy email to customer service with photos of the damaged headboard and requested a replacement. Tuesday, May 21st (morning). I called to check on the status of my exchange request for the headboard and was advised they would process a replacement for delivery once I resent the photos which I did while I was on the phone. Order exchange email received that afternoon. Wednesday, May 22nd. I received the replacement parts for the damaged 5 drawer chest so I called to schedule a technician for Saturday, June 1st to come out and repair.
Thursday, May 23rd (morning). I called to check the status of the still "processing" exchange order placed on May 21st and was told it takes 24 - 48 hours to process and that someone should be calling me that day to schedule delivery. Friday, May 24th (afternoon). I called to check the status of the still "processing" exchange order for the headboard and the agent put me on hold in an effort to get the order pushed through finally!! He advised me that he was able to confirm delivery on Monday, May 27th and someone would call me on Sunday, May 26th to confirm the delivery window.
Sunday, May 26th (morning). I received a phone call from someone wanting to schedule delivery of the bed and was told the soonest it would be deliverable would be Thursday, May 30th!!!! To which I responded that I was told on Friday (during a 30 min. phone call) that it was coming tomorrow! She then proceeded to tell me that she could possibly have it delivered on either Tuesday, May 28th or Saturday, June 1st however would need to send an email and get back to me with a confirmation.
Monday, May 27th (morning). I called to check the status of the delivery request since no one got back to me with a confirmation the prior day. I also requested to file a claim on the order since it had turned into an extreme scheduling nightmare! Followed by a request to speak to a supervisor whose response to my mess of an order was that "we just have to sit around and wait" given various departments need to communicate with one another!?!?!? At this point I thanked her and hung up beyond frustrated and felt like I was just banging my head into a brick wall. Not even 5 min. later, my cell phone rang, I did not answer since I had no desire to speak with anyone else at Ashley at this point. The person left a voicemail confirming delivery for the following day, Tuesday, May 28th between the hours of 10:45 am - 2:45 pm.
In addition to the voicemail I received on Monday, May 27th confirming delivery on Tuesday, May 28th I received a text message as follows: "Delivery Notification : The delivery for (incorrect name displayed here) at (correct address was displayed here) has been scheduled for Tuesday, May 28th between 10:45 am - 2:45 pm. Please click the link to confirm." I proceeded to click the link for delivery confirmation.
Tuesday, May 28th (morning). I called to verify my order was being delivered THAT DAY and asked for the representative to confirm the item being delivered and address since the name that was text to me was incorrect. She verified the item and address were correct and updated my name and said someone would arrive between 10:45 am - 2:45 pm that day SO I STAYED HOME FROM WORK! At 3:06 pm I called again to ask where the delivery truck was and the representative told me NOTHING was scheduled to be delivered to my home today, it was instead confirmed on Thursday, May 30th!!!!
When I got upset, she told me to let her finish reading me the notes and to lower my voice!?!? No sense of understanding of my ordeal and extreme inconvenience, didn't try to help remedy the situation. I gave her a run down of everything I had been through up until this point in time and asked her to try and at least schedule for June 1st when a technician is already confirmed to come out and repair the 5 drawer chest that arrived damaged on Friday, May 10th. She told me that day was full and she couldn't schedule anything then. It would have to be Thursday, May 30th. I told her that I work and am unable to take a SECOND day off this week to accommodate their delivery and wanted to speak with someone above her that was willing to HELP ME FIX THIS.
I was escalated to Linda, to whom I reexplained everything to and she told me that the delivery did not come today and dropped off of the scheduled because I did not confirm it!?!?!? Wait, what??? I clicked on the link and confirmed the delivery the prior day AND was told THE SAME MORNING that the delivery was arriving TODAY!! How is this my fault???? I again asked for her to get the headboard scheduled for delivery on Saturday, June 1st since Ashley is already sending out a technician to fix my broken dresser the same day. We have been sleeping ON THE FLOOR for the past week no thanks to people for I don't know what reason not being able to COMMUNICATE.
She advised me that she would send an email to the warehouse manager to request delivery on June 1st and would text me the next morning to confirm. Wednesday, May 29th: I received a text verifying the bed is scheduled to be delivered on Saturday, June 1st. The above outline DOES NOT include the ordeal I went through with Ashley and UPS trying to get the damaged night stand returned which within itself consisted of multiple calls to Ashley and UPS and lugging a 91 pound box in and out of my home for 3 days in a row! Words cannot even express how thoroughly exhausted I am and stressed out from having to manage this mess of an order. I honestly cannot recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone at this point even if they do FINALLY exchange my headboard and fix my dresser.

It took one month to get our furniture. We had 2 cancellations. On our 3rd confirmed delivery for Saturday, May 25 they cancelled our delivery at 3:00 pm on Memorial Day Holiday, rescheduled for another date WITHOUT contacting us, while we waited. This left us with NO furniture and guest arriving in town. After several calls to customer support, I finally reached a customer service manager that gave us the option to pick up our delivery from the warehouse on Airtex/45 (we live near Katy). My husband and I had rent a U-Haul, acquire help and spent our Memorial Day weekend putting furniture together.
Also the warehouse informed us that they would not pull our item. Prior to our arrival, he had to get in line and wait for each piece to be pulled 1 to 2 pieces at a time. We had 11 pieces total. This has been my worst furniture buying experience ever!!! There is no clear communication from purchase at store, delivery, customer service and warehouse. After you purchase your items you are on your own!

I went to disassemble the bed. All of the screws have been stripped. I called Ashley. I was told that they do not cover that. It was my responsibility to inspect each screw within 24 hours. I also at the time of purchase, paid extra for in home service in the event of any issue. The salesperson advised that any problems would be covered. I am now being told that they will not be able to send out a service team because disassembly is not a serviceable issue. If I need service, it would be at my own cost. I was further advised that if I leave the state, my warranty is null and void. I have been a loyal Ashley customer. I will never purchase anything from them again. Do your research and make sure to inspect every screw at time of assembly or else.

I called Customer Service (within their 48hrs) to have to wait two weeks for a service tech to arrive. After moving some screws, on the skirt of the leaf, the gap moved from one side to another!
After playing around with it, the service tech demonstrated that if you giggle the skirt, the table would close entirely. I told him that this was not acceptable, however he recorded this as "within manufacturers specs"! Now it takes three people to insert the butterfly leaf (one person to giggle it!). NOT ACCEPTABLE. The comment "within manufacturers specs" was repeated by their 1-800 customer service staff. THEY REFUSED TO ESCALATE TO A MANAGER on the phone. They told me that I had no recourse! I ordered a Kitchenaid microwave from Ashley Furniture. While being installed, their installer observed the unit was severely damaged. It appeared the unit had been dropped on a heavy metal object at the factory and then placed in the box. The installer took pictures and I was advised by the Ashley Furniture customer service manager a new unit was ordered. It has been six weeks, I have called over and over and over again and never got a response.
I then received a call from Ashley Furniture's installer saying he was at my house to replace the "base". I had no clue who he was since I have never heard from them. Clearly I bought a new appliance and was not accepting a new base for a severely damaged unit. I have called over 10 times in the last two days and there is not one person who can even find my paperwork much less help me resolve this issue. I have now filed a complaint with America Express to get a refund for the damaged unit. Stay away from Ashley Furniture as clearly they are a suspicious business outfit.

I wish I read all the bad reviews before I bought my sectional from them. I had no idea they make their own furniture. When it came my husband accepted it. I looked at it when I came home and the seams didn’t meet up, there where holes where they didn’t have enough materials to cover spots. That took weeks for them to order material and have someone repair it in my living room. For MONTHS now each price one by one started making noises. The wood in the framing is giving way. They sent a third part to inspect it. He agreed there was issues to us.
The company reported he told them it was the cushions. Idk but cushions don’t make noise. So, they tell my husband we will get new cushions. That was weeks ago. Before that it was almost 2 months to get the repairman to my home. I emailed the rep and told her I want a new sofa. She won’t answer that but said this is the last time they will send someone out because it’s the third time. I bought the extended warranty. I am so sorry I purchased from them. I am filling with the BBB and making a complaint with my state rep. There are too many complaints against the Orange, CT location.

I have been sitting here all day long waiting for my living room furniture to arrive. I ordered it a month ago. A MONTH. I get a call about ten minutes ago telling me that the delivery will be here around 8:30 pm or later. I am furious. I told the woman on the phone, "I will NOT accept the delivery that late at night," and I hung up on her. My time is as valuable as anyone's time and I have already lost a day sitting here waiting. I then called back to customer service and was transferred to the delivery department. A nice lady was able to stop the delivery and said she had no control over when my furniture would be delivered. It is out of her control and I understand that. I do not want furniture delivered to my house after dark. How am I supposed to inspect the furniture this way? Have it brought into my house and then find out there are issues with it? No thanks. Bring it during the day.
This cluster you-know-what comes on the heels of the living room tables that were delivered to me last week. I ordered a coffee table and a chair side table and it's the Porter collection. It looks very nice online and looks like quality furniture. ONLINE. Upon inspection however I discovered many problems. I wrote a review about the damaged and defective tables but I will post it again on here. The side table has a drawer and the coffee table has five drawers. The drawer in the side table doesn't sit level inside the table. It's what I call 'wonky'. It looks ridiculous and there is no way to fix it because the slider underneath is adhered with silicone. This table arrived before the coffee table and I contacted customer service and reported the table issue. I sent photos as well. A second chair side table was shipped as a replacement and I didn't even bother to take it out of the box.
When the coffee table arrived and I found so much damage and defects I contacted the same customer service representative, Heidi **. and she kindly refunded the money for both the side table and the coffee table. The coffee table is in much worse condition. The table was defective when the stain was applied to it and I say that because I have refinished furniture before. Instead of removing that table from the assembly line, the table was stained and sent on its way for packaging. There are areas of the table where the stain is missing, there is a long crack in the wood where one of the drawers go in. The 'slider' is so broken I was able to take a photo of me holding it in my hand.
The drawers are 'dove-tailed' together on the sides. The face of one of the drawers is barely attached to the sides. The left front corner of the table is lifted up as in, the wood is warped. This was stained over as well as the other defects. There is a scratch on top of the table. The 'bun' feet aren't stained the same as the table. One of the feet has two deep gouges in it and it too was stained over and left to go in the box. If all of this damaged had happened after the table had been shipped, the raw wood would show. This is not the case. The workers simply stained over all of the damage.
I am extremely disappointed in Ashley Furniture as you can imagine. I honestly thought that they carried quality furniture. I was very very wrong. The furniture is manufactured in Vietnam. Apparently there aren't any inspectors in the plant and if there ARE, they aren't doing their job. I will never EVER buy another thing from Ashley Furniture ever again. I have contacted several donation places and no one will pick up this furniture. Goodwill won't pick it up, Salvation Army won't pick it up nor will Habitat For Humanity. Are these places so well off now that they don't need BRAND NEW furniture? Wow. I will have to put it on Craigslist and post the tables as "FREE". To the CEO of Ashley Furniture, shame on you for allowing your horrible furniture to be sold to unsuspecting customers.

What a joke of a company. I ordered an expensive furniture set that arrived broken. They told me they would get the part in one week and come back to fix it. Then a week later they said they couldn't get the part, that they had to replace the whole couch and it would take 2 weeks. Sat at home another full day waiting for delivery (again) which of course was late as always, and they brought me a love seat instead of a couch. Called to see when I would get my actual couch (I'm sure it will be 3 more weeks) and they insultingly offered me a $75 gift certificate for my troubles - as if I'm ever going to buy something from them again. Asked to speak to a supervisor and was transferred to a voice mailbox that I'm sure I won't ever get a call back from. Still don't know when they will get me a new couch since the agent sent me to the voicemail instead of someone who could actually help me.

If I could give zero stars I would. Who knows. Maybe will finally step up and actually help me and I may change the stars. However here is my story. Bought my bed online. Got the mattress the following Tuesday after ordering my bed was supposed to be delivered. Well I get a call Monday letting me know that unfortunately it's going to be delayed due to a hold from the manufacturer. Ok things happen. I'm told that my delivery will be set for not next Thursday but the following Thursday. So Wednesday I get a call telling me that the bed will be in the warehouse Thursday but I need to set up a delivery date. Seriously. So the next available date will be Friday or Saturday. Both days I will be at work. Now I have to wait until Monday to call.
So I call customer service where by the second person I talk to I find out I have a delivery scheduled for Wednesday. I once again will be at work. Kinda fed up at this point, so I going to rent a truck to pick up tomorrow.. Wrong. The third lady I talked with says that it won't even be at the warehouse until Wednesday. But last Thursday it was there. Absolutely ridiculous. Not happy with this service or company and I would bot recommended them at all. It's almost been a month. They have my money and I'm sleeping on the floor.

I ordered over $7000.00 in furniture in March with a delivery date way before Easter. But they were unable to deliver my furniture because they no longer had it in stock after I was told it was there and going to be delivered. The bedroom set was brought in to my home when I was told there were items that were backordered over a month out. The bedroom set was damaged and not well made. I asked the delivery guy to please take the whole thing out of my home and I was told he could not do that because he had to many deliveries. He said there would be another guy to come get it at 5:00 pm that night. A guy DID come but not to take the bedroom set back which by the way I never signed for. This guy said he was a third party and was there to repair the bedroom set. To this day I have been at the store numerous times, spoke to corporate about 50 times as well as the managers and salespeople at the store.
Last week I was told they would take the bedroom set back only to tell me the next day they decided not to. They said it has been in my house too long and they no longer are taking it back. The reason why it is still in my house is because they have horrible managers and customer service. They runaround for months not helping you at all until the time to is over for the product to be returned. This is how they do things there. They run you through one person to the next making you wait days, weeks for answers and numerous visits to the store.
I would never recommend anyone shopping here. They are truly only out for the sale not the customer. They would much rather have a bad review then help a customer who could potentially recommend them to other customers.. Do yourself a favor and do not shop here. There are way too many better furniture stored out there with great customer service and great salespeople and managers. Ashley Furniture located on Hwy 19 in Pinellas Park Florida is the worse. Save yourself the aggravation.

They wanted to spray a CHEMICAL on my fragile leather that would change the color & call that a repair on a scratch.
Ashley Representatives refused to do anything else. All of my sectional pieces have something wrong. I went to an Ashley store to purchase a bedroom set. The very personable saleswoman was patient and thorough. She built up my trust. I found a set I liked, and she commenced to add it all up. The sign said $1859. Well that was a false price because it didn't include the footboard or the side panels or the foundation. It says 6 piece leading a person to believe that means pieces of furniture. It doesn't, it's mostly pieces of the bed. The mattress was $479, available online at Ashley for $269. The foundation was $249, available online for $130. Same exact items down to the serial #. If you can visit the set in the store, do it, then order online. I am so disappointed. Also, some sites are tax and delivery free for IDENTICAL ITEMS. I could have saved a thousand dollars. So disappointed in their tactics. Never again. Review of actual furniture will follow. My experience with Ashley Furniture has been atrocious! The nightmare with them began on 1-5-19 when I purchased my bedroom and living room suites. On 1-17-19 my bedroom suite was set to be delivered, only to be disappointed in just receiving the bed from them. The delivery driver advised me that my dresser and nightstand would be delivered at a later date but could not provide me with the date of delivery.
I immediately called Ashley Furniture and spoke with a manager because I was advised at the time of purchase of 2 different delivery dates. One date of 1/17/19 for the bedroom furniture and the other date of 2/12/19 for the living room furniture. The store manager advised me that my dresser would be delivered on 2/5/19 but the nightstand would be delivered on 2-19-19, along with my living room suite. This was a surprise to me as I was expecting the living room furniture on the 2/12/19. I accepted the date of 2/19/19 but found this to be very inconvenient that no one at Ashley Furniture took the time to at least make a phone call out and let me know about the changes.
Due to the inconvenience he offered me a $150.00 credit towards my account. I didn’t ask for this credit, but it was much appreciated, since it was the only thing in the store that I liked and happened to be one of the more expensive sets that include a couch, loveseat, oversized chair and ottoman. However, this credit has never been applied to my account. Finally, on 2-19-19 they delivered my living room suite! Excitement ensued, as the delivery men took my furniture off the truck, as I have been waiting a month and a half now for my furniture; only to be disappointed AGAIN! As the delivery men took the wrapping off my furniture I noticed huge scratches, and stuffing coming out of the cushions of the couch. Loveseat and the oversized chair.
The arms are loose and the ottoman wobbles, even one of the delivery men tried to hide and color in some of the scratches with furniture markers that wasn’t even the right color. I didn’t want to sign for the delivery due to the condition of the furniture and I was told by the delivery guy that it would be okay to sign for it because a tech was on his way and they had to make other deliveries. When the tech arrives, he looks at each piece and was shocked that they were allowed to even deliver the damaged furniture. His exact words were, “I have never seen anything this bad.” He took pictures of it and he said that his manager would be calling us the next day, but that didn’t happen.
Several calls later into Ashley Furniture, their customer response team, and a salesperson back at the store, no one ever called me back and kept giving me the run around on who I needed to speak with! Enough was enough and I went back into Ashley Furniture on a Saturday demanding to speak with a manager or supervisor. The sales associate advised me that he was not there but promised a phone call from him on Monday, and if the manager did not call me then he would call. Well, surprise surprise no phone call from either one!
I went back to Ashley Furniture and spoke with the manager and salesperson face to face AGAIN and explained my frustration and aggravation because at this point I only want to return the living room suite because of the poor quality and service. I advised that I didn’t want another one and there was nothing else in the store that I liked. His only response was “I’m sorry and that my only option is to do an exchange”. I asked him was that all that he could do and say? He then asked me, “Why is it that customer’s always want something in return. Why can’t anyone just accept an apology and be happy?” Are you serious?! I’m a paying customer explaining to you what is going on and that is all you have to say?! He also offered some type of gift card which I accepted to only be disappointed again in not receiving anything.
I agreed to an exchange and was told by the manager that before it was delivered he was going to go inspect it himself to ensure that we received good quality furniture. It was a few days to a week that passed until I received a call to advise of a delivery date of 4/20/19. I advised that I was not available that day and the soonest date they had after that was 4/27/2019 from 2-5. They actually called a couple of days before to confirm the appointment for 4-27-19, which was surprising since they never did this in the past.
My optimism arose only to be let down by them AGAIN! The delivery man showed up, but he was 30 mins late, not mention I never received a courtesy call to let me know that he would be running late. He gets to my home, looks at the furniture he is suppose to be taking back and tells me, “You’re better off keeping the furniture that you have. What I have on the truck looks worse. I told my manager I didn’t want to deliver this to you because of how it looked.” Word for word from your delivery man – so my only question is, if you all knew it looked this bad coming from the warehouse why would you waste his time and mine by making him attempt a delivery that you know was unacceptable?!
The delivery person advised me that someone would be calling me on Monday and to call the 800 number that is on the original paperwork for customer service to express my complaint. I did not receive a call that following Monday which would have been 4/29/19. I called customer service on 5/6/19 since I had yet to hear from anyone. I was advised that to make a complaint. There was no one I could speak with. I could only do it by email. Also, on that call I was told that I was scheduled for a delivery on 5/10/19 that I was totally unaware of. I received another overused bland “I’m sorry”.
My new delivery date is set for 5-10-19. On 5/8/19 I get a call telling me that they need to reschedule my delivery date to 5/18/19. That is not a good day for me, so the next available date is 5/25/19. I accepted but the way that Ashley Furniture has treated me I want to give every piece of furniture back, including my bedroom suite. I’d rather sleep on the floor than have to deal with them again! Their customer service is deplorable, the furniture is inadequate in quality, and they are just an all-around difficult company! This will be my VERY LAST TIME ever dealing with Ashley Furniture!

I ordered a little girl's desk on 5/12/19 on the Ashley website. There was a required $79.99 delivery fee for delivery inside the room of choice & set up. I received a call on 5/13/19 that the furniture was scheduled to be delivered on 5/16/19 anytime between 6:30 AM and 8:30 PM and they would call me with a 4 hour window 2 days prior.
I told the rep that any time would be good for me with the exclusion of the 6:30 AM window as the child in that room would be sleeping and I wouldn't want strange men walking into my little girl's room while she was sleeping. The rep said she made a note of the request. The next day I received a robo call that my delivery was scheduled to be delivered in the 6:30 AM window. I called Ashley and the rep refused to assist, repeating to me multiple times that they could not change the delivery windows as they are geographically based. They would also not issue a refund. Now I am forced to wake up a sleeping child and potentially the whole household when the doorbell rings at 6:30 AM. I will never order from them again.

In March 2017 we purchased a double console recliner from Ashley Furniture store in Charlotte NC. At the time of purchase we purchased an extended 5 year warranty for $199.00. In April 2019 the recliner mechanism stopped working. On April 19th a tech came out to check for repairs which require a new motor or/and an on/ off switch. They're ordering both because there is no way to determine which is faulty. Why not send the tech with the motor and then if that does the trick, viola! If not just order the on/off switch. Well here it is May 14th and the parts still have not been ordered. I have called their extended Insurance Co., GBS which is useless. They claim their waiting for Ashley to authorize the ordering of parts, Ashley claims they have authorized ordering parts. What. Zoo! Nobody knows what’s going on. Please please please, for your own good and to maintain sanity, stay away from Ashley furniture.

My husband and I purchased a formal dining room set and a kitchen dining set. The purchase experience was great - sales staff friendly, clean store, etc. However, actually receiving quality furniture was an absolute nightmare! They delivered 4 formal sets because each one came in damaged (one chair even had a screw sticking out that gouged my arm!!). We were finally able to receive a refund for the formal dining set after months of going back and forth with the store (for which the manager would never return my calls - we dealt solely with one of their customer service associates).
We noticed after delivery of the kitchen dining set that several of the chairs were making terrible noises when you sat in them. I had to call Ashley about these and was chastised for accepting damaged furniture. They sent a technician who was able to fix them. Less than a year later, the planked table top started warping. I called Ashley again since we purchased the warranty on it. After the technician deemed it non repairable, Ashley agreed to replace it (though this was due to a manufacturing defect and should not have counted against our purchased warranty). The first 3 sets that were delivered had damage so obvious I'm not sure how they didn't notice. For the 4th set, I was guaranteed that the set would be inspected at the warehouse. I received a call shortly before the scheduled delivery to be told that the table was inspected but somehow the wrong legs got loaded onto the truck.
The fifth set seemed to be great – no damage…until the delivery guy dropped it at my doorstep. Finally, the 7th set was a keeper. It took SEVEN deliveries (all of which I had to take off of work for) to get a set that was acceptable! The manager will NOT call you back and corporate will only redirect you to the store. I cannot understand how a company can get away with such poor service. I would HIGHLY recommend thinking twice before purchasing from this company.

Please DO NOT order anything from Ashley Furniture online. They use 3rd party vendors, so if for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, it will be next to impossible to return your item. I have been waiting over a month to return something. Tried calling customer service, to find out the status, and was rudely told that someone else was working on my return and that I need to wait to hear from him whenever he comes in. Ask to speak to a supervisor, she stated that, if I wanted someone else to look at my return, they will need to start the process all over again!! This was my first and will be my last time ordering anything from this company again. My order was with Ashley’s, not the 3rd party vendor!

I still complained of the same problem but instead I was told never to call again, that they have done their best. They also assembled all my items and I had a couple of complaints as the assembly was done improperly and one night stand was damaged. I called the customer support and waited for a long time to speak to a associate. They are very rude with the way they respond and did not provide me information I needed. She was very impatient and was literally yelling at me. She finally ended the call without giving me the right information on my order details. Despite spending lots of money, I am not satisfied with this. This will be my last purchase with Ashley furnitures. Ordered a table and chair set we fell in love with at the store. WE ordered it online and it was delivered shortly after. The chairs came in by mail, which meant we had to put together all 6 chairs by hand.... not included in the delivery fee. Fast forward 2 months, I noticed the seam was bubbling up and contacted customer service. Since we paid well over $1000 for this set, I really thought it would last a little longer than 2 months. I sent in pictures and they told me it looked like water damage. Who puts beverages on the seam of a table? The table expands to fit a leaf, which we hadn't used.
I emailed the company and waited over a month before I called to ask what they were going to do about it. I sent pictures to a customer service rep and they chased it up to water damage. I resent pictures and never got a response. Finally I called them back and I resent pictures showing that the seam was cracked on both sides, they said it wasn't a defective piece, but customer cause. I had never used the leaf, so how was I to know it was cracked? I guess you are supposed to take a magnifying glass to the furniture you buy to make sure it is in perfect condition. I have purchased longer lasting furniture from Walmart. I will never purchase from them again.

I placed my bed frame order on 5.3.19. Order confirmation confirmed delivery for May 10; I also received an email confirmation confirming this delivery and that UPS would be delivering several pieces of the item 2 days prior. Additionally, I confirmed with customer service 4 days before scheduled delivery, that UPS would be delivering and that my delivery was still scheduled for May 10.
I placed a call to delivery on May 10 inquiring about my delivery, as I had not received additional confirmation on the time frame. My delivery had not even been scheduled and I was told the soonest would be Wednesday, May 15! If I wanted to inquire about a earlier delivery, I would then have to contact customer service and delivery could not assist. I was very unhappy about all of this; from the poor show of customer service to the obvious inconvenience, being I had already cleaned out my bedroom and unassembled older furniture to make room for this delivery.
Every other time I had to make a complaint, update or inquire if something could be done to resolve this issue, was made by me!! I had to phone delivery & customer service at least four separate times on Friday & twice on Saturday. This took most of the workday, to which a manager was never available or responsive to the representatives that I was dealing with, which additionally meant nothing could be done to resolve my issue.
Delivery reached out to me on Saturday to confirm a delivery for Friday, May 17. This means my delivery was not scheduled the previous day when I spoke to with delivery when I was told Wednesday, May 15 would be the earliest available. I was concerned by this notion on Friday when I spoke to a representative and nothing was done to ensure delivery would be made on Wednesday if not available sooner. Doesn’t that seem like the practical, smart thing to do when you already have a disgruntled customer? One would think, but no… let’s just delay that delivery a little longer!
My delivery fee was waived as a result, but that should be expected at this point. I had a helpful representative that I was speaking to throughout the last few days, but there was little she could do in her position, as management and delivery were non-responsive to her.
This is the worst display of customer service I have ever received from the delivery company. Ashley furniture and their assumed third party hired a delivery team, have little working communication and a week display of a management system. If Ashley furniture and their delivery team truly cared about resolving their error & accommodating the very much inconvenienced customer, they would have! Deliveries can be moved around & customers who are expecting delivery days down the road could essentially be moved for a customer that was expecting their item over a week ago. Now we are sleeping on the floor until Friday, May 17. I will never order anything from Ashley Furniture again; I have been a loyal customer throughout the years, so that is their loss! Such a waste of my time and energy.

We bought 4 of these chairs. We were going to cut down the height of our kitchen table down to standard height. Then going from solid wood chairs to the foam chairs. So they sat in the box till I was able to cut the table down. They turned out to be very cheaply made with cheap foam on the seat. After using the chairs twice a day for about a week the foam started breaking down and we found ourselves sitting lower and lower. While sitting on the chair I felt the bottom of the chair where I was sitting, and discovered I was hanging below the bottom of the seat! I turned the chair over and felt the bottom only to discover that most of the bottom was cut out!!! There was a BIG circle cut out of the bottom so 90% of the bottom was gone, there was no support for your butt, it goes straight thru the hole and the foam wore out. So I had to find some wood material and cut it to fit over the hole and give us some support and deal with the worn out foam.
BAD investment. NOT what we wanted for our investment. We could not return the chairs as we were past the 30 days and didn't have the box and would have to pay for shipping, which would cost as much as the chairs. We did talk to a rep at Amazon and she told us that this brand is at the very low end of the quality scale. So save your money and do not buy this brand!!!

The shopping experience was good. Staff was friendly and reasonably knowledgeable. We picked out two items and then the trouble began. it probably took 45 minutes to make our selection and it took an hour to pay for it. Utterly ridiculous payment system that no one in the store seem to be familiar with. They deliver to our city every other Thursday, which is fine. But we missed the scheduled delivery. When you going to call the local store number you are switched to a call center, in Phoenix in our case. I made over the course of a week or so four attempts, only two of which resulted in my speaking to someone. Each time I called I was on hold between 20 and 35 minutes. Customer service, once contacted, was quite good. I finally was told how to actually reach the store. You call the local number and as soon as they pick up you tap 2 on your phone.
I had discovered that the online price was roughly $50 less than the price I was charged for one of the items. I was assured that they would match that price, but only if I brought in a credit card. They would not do it over the phone. That would have been tailed 130 mi round trip. When I argued for an exception, I got a lecture from The Young manager. And when I told her I was not interested in a lecture, but would like to have a contact number for her Superior, I was told that was not allowed.
Ultimately the furniture was delivered. The delivery guys seemed to have one thing in mind, that be to get it in the house, get out. I told them not to be in a hurry, they needed to move the furniture back in place that they had removed. They did half the job. Overall, I got the impression that headquarters has some pretty stringent rules and regs for these employees to follow. I actually do not blame them for their conduct but see it as an unyielding, rigid system from above.

This was unacceptable since this was a bed for an apartment my wife and I are moving into. Luckily they had another bed in the warehouse, so the earlier they could schedule it for was the 9th, but the delivery window was from 6 30 am to 10 30 am and since we had to drive to the apt this was crazy early. Luckily the driver did wait for me. Also one of the screws for the slats didnt go all the way down. Bed seems fine now but overall would've rather bought from a different store.

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! My family and I spent $7500 on a furniture set including counter top table, hutch and coffee table. We had a huge issue with the top of the tables chipping paint. It was non stop to the point where my wife and I looked at each other and said we should call warranty to come out. YES.... WE DID PAY FOR WARRANTY FOR COMFORT.... Let me tell you that is a different story. Well anyways they come out and look at the table and montag looks my wife in the face and says, "This is not something we can fix." He also says, "And good luck with Ashley Furniture trying to help you." Their own insurance providers told me they were crap but I gave them Benefit of the doubt because I just spent $7500 and figured they like their customers. I went into the store and had to call corporate about the table. Corporate says that there is a manufacturer defect in the table. Keep in mind I have a whole set. With the same defect.
Ashley Furniture then says, "Sorry sir that we will only replace your countertop table. You will have to find a table at full price and keep your old chairs as we will not be replacing the chairs." I am now at this point stuck with a defective remaining set and chairs with hopes of finding a new table that somewhat blends with the new chairs. I called Ashley’s and said, "This is crap." They put me in a corner and said, "Figure it out." Me the customer out of everybody. Corporate says, "Sorry you're better off filing complaints as we can not help you." I said, "That’s fine. That is what I will do." I have reached out to Better Business Bureau with still no care. Also Facebook, Twitter, Instagram - every social media possible to make things right. It’s crazy how there has now been more business lost than what it would have taken to satisfy a customer. I will continue to share my experience everywhere.

I would never recommend, I made a deal with sales associate that included a nightstand back on April 2nd and now they said it was never included so the over $1000 I paid apparently doesn't include the nightstand "like they said". The bed and chest dresser were shipped, I was only able to get the bed because the chest dresser came in damaged! The bed came with slates I paid for to hold the mattress, delivery guys said, "The sales associate should’ve known better and should have sold you a box because this bed can’t take the slates."
Called up Ashley Furniture in Massena and had to call Potsdam one as well and went back and forth over the issue because the box was more than the slates and wanted to charge me an additional $50.00 which the mistake should not be my problem. I was at my point of returning everything if it wasn't for my almost 5 year old son who absolutely loves his bed, why should I punish him for the sales associate's terrible mistake?! Then finally said that’s fine they won’t charge me that they’ll “eat it” because of me! Really they didn’t “eat it” because of me. That’s their sales associates problem for selling incorrect pieces to a customer. So after all that now I have to wait even longer to receive the dresser.
Every time I would talk to the sales associates they gave me a complete runaround and were completely unorganized. We made a deal and they unfortunately did not hold their end of it. Still to this day May 8th when purchase was made April 2nd I still do not have the dresser. I called today and was told it won’t hopefully be too much longer. I said I had enough with this horrified experience that I’ve received from them and demanded a refund on the dresser. I personally went online 2 weeks prior to this and ordered the nightstand that I was supposed to receive with original order and I received it in 5 days from ordering it direct off Ashley Furniture store. So once again here it is May 8th and they are telling me hopefully not too much longer. So over a month from local Ashley’s I still haven’t received but you can order direct and it comes in 5 days… Makes no sense!!
The guy I spoke to was extremely rude. Gave me a hard time about returning and said, "I’ll call you back." Finally called back. Said, "What’s the credit card number" which they have it one file but fine I gave it to him and I asked, "Will this be done today?" He says not sure. He doesn’t do the returns. So why is he the one calling me if he has no answers for me? His response “Guess I’m the lucky guy that has to deal with you!!?” Wonderful remark isn’t it. I had called the actual corporation and was told there was nothing they could do because it’s a bought franchise. So apparently these privately owned Ashley Furniture stores can do and treat people however they'd like. Very unethical, terrible service all way around and I feel like I was robbed of something I was told my price included.
The all in sad part is I tried and wanted to keep my business local as we all preach “help our local business”, “Buy local”. Well it's experience like this that will deter me away from buying local. The horrific service is/was not called for and people should beware. Lesson learned!! I will never purchase from any Ashley Furniture store again!!

Ashley Furniture is the WORST store I've ever bought furniture from! We purchased their Marsilona Dining Room Table and less than three months of use the planks started to separate, we called it in and they told us to put a glass top over the table. Kind of beats the whole purpose of butcher block table. Nine months in of use the MDF has started peeling, there's bubbles where it's began to swell. We called it in again and we've been playing this game of them contacting us, sending out a tech, letting us know how they can fix the table. Nothing has come of it and they refuse to do anything because we didn't purchase the extended warranty, that wouldn't cover it any ways.
Honestly why do you need a warranty on a kitchen table? Shouldn't any table hold up to everyday use of eating meals, spills and doing homework? This table DOES NOT and Ashley won't do anything about it. Beware. If you give their products a bad rating they will take it down. I've submitted bad ratings on the table multiple times, each and every time it has been taken down. Go somewhere else to purchase better and higher quality furniture for less.

This store is singlehandedly one of the WORST stores I’ve ever been to and run by an incompetent manager. I had the misfortune of dealing with Emily the sales associate. Her vibe gave off desperation for a sale. In the course of our dealings, I asked whether putting an application in would result in a credit card. Emily insisted that it was NOT a credit card and I would not receive a credit card in the mail. I was skeptical because the whole process involved putting in sensitive information which was a no brainer that it was a credit card. She even called her dishonest manager who confirmed that it was a credit line and I would not receive a credit card.
Fast forward a couple of days later, surprise surprise, I receive the Ashley Home Furniture credit card in the mail which was further confirmed in the correspondence. By this time I haven’t heard anything about my furniture (2 weeks). I give the store a call and was told, "Oh yeah the furniture is available. You can schedule it for delivery now." I was appalled that no one followed up with me. I called the store and asked to speak with Emily who was all ears when I expressed interest in buying more furniture but totally ignored my comment that a credit card actually came in the mail. She was more than happy to rush off the phone like a vulture ready to pounce on the next client.
Might I mention that she made it a point to say that she didn’t make any money until the items were delivered. This is interesting given that she did not appear interested in following up with my purchase. All I can is her service was horrendous. I later called to speak to the manager who told me that the card I had was an Ashley store card not a credit card because I could not use it anywhere else but Ashley’s. Once he said this, I was done. The levels of foolery and deceitfulness this individual was trying to employ with his use of words was ridiculous! If I fail to make payments on this credit card, I can guarantee anyone that this will affect my credit score.
The representative I spoke to on the phone confirmed this was a credit card. I couldn’t deal with the foolery and I knew right then that I was never doing business with Ashley Home Furniture again. I canceled my delivery and purchase. Please note that Ashley Home Furniture has a ridiculous policy that they will charge you 30% of the price of the goods. Luckily I talked to corporate who told me I would not have to pay that amount and reduced it to 10%. Whatever money I’ve lost, which wasn’t much, will not break my bank.
Ashley Home Furniture can consider that my charity for the day. A bunch of misfits. Please believe the negative reviews. RUN when you go to then Ashley store located in Falls Church. RUN. I purchased furniture on 02/23/2019 and was told it would be deliver in 4 to 5 weeks. 4 1/2 weeks rolled around and I called Ashley just to check that we were still on schedule. They informed me (keep in mind I called them), that it had been pushed out an additional 6 to 8 weeks. I, of course, found this unacceptable, so I cancelled. I then found online that Ashley in Avon had two sofas that I really like and could have in 4-weeks. I went there and purchased and was told it would be in around 4 to 5 weeks. 4 1/2 weeks I called to verify still on schedule and was told YES.
I then got a text from Ashley setting up delivery on April 30, 2019 (today) between 9:00 am and 11:41 am. I took the day off, sitting here and decided to call to verify the times were still good. I was told the furniture was not in and delivery has been pushed to 05/08/2019. Livid - YES!!! As well, I previously recommended my daughter buy furniture and she did. She was schedule for 04/20/2019, and she called 2-days before and they said the delivery date was still good. She received a call on 04/19/2019 and was told items were backordered and pushed her delivery to 05/03/2019 (who knows if this will happen). Again... Don't buy from Ashley and definitely DO NOT TRUST what they tell you.

They never showed up to deliver my sofa after I laid the full amount for delivery and assembly. I had my entire day wasted and they didn’t even contact me to let me know the delivery had been rescheduled. I have no choice but to miss work in order to get my sofa delivered again (if it even does get delivered). Biggest waste of time. They refuse to refund the entire delivery fee. What a scam of a company.

I went in to buy a sofa right after the Superbowl at the Hull Street location in Midlothian (the sofa was new and wasn't in stock. Was told it would take a month to get in. A month and a half later, I'm asking the store when it will be delivered. It was in stock, they didn't contact me about delivery despite saying they would do so). The salesman say "If I'm looking for a mattress, I could get the sofa essentially for free." I told him I was in need but couldn't do both that day, he said I could finance it.
I tried out the hybrid Tempur-Pedic, it was delivered a few days later. Five days in, I had so much back and hip pain. I went back to the store asking to return. The store told me I had to deal with customer service in Fredericksburg since the mattress was already in the home. The store manager told me that I needed to call Tempur-Pedic, not customer service. Called CS and they said to call back after 30 days. On day 28, I called to find out next steps since day 30 was a Sunday. The customer service guy, Akeem, sent an email with instruction to take pictures of the mattress.
I called the following Wed. to follow up and Akeem told me it would take 7-10 days to decide if I could reselect a mattress. I told him that amount of time wasn't acceptable since I was not claiming there was a defect in the product, I couldn't sleep on it due to pain. During the wait period, I discovered that the wrong mattress was delivered, I didn't get the hybrid, I received a different one. When I emailed Akeem about the mistake and told him I didn't want the mattress, to come pick it up, I was approved for the reselect, that day.
I chose a Serta iComfort. It was much better than the previous mattress but it still caused back pain. On day 30, 04/18/19, I emailed Akeem. On Friday, I called and left a message and got no response. In thinking that he may have been out of the office and did not put an out of office reply into the email, I waited through Tuesday for a response and got nothing. On Wed. I called his extension and got voicemail. I decided to try a different customer service person and lo and behold, Akeem got the next call in the queue, mine. Akeem tells me that I only have one reselect, although the store salesperson assured me that I could chose another until we found the right mattress.
I told him I understood that but since I was experiencing back pain if they would consider allowing another reslection. Akeem tells me he will send the request to his manager. I ask to speak to the manager and he tells me all the managers are in a meeting. I requested to hear something by the end of the day. Akeem says that they ask 24-48 hours to respond. I waited the 48 and got no response, again. I called once again and left a message asking to hear from someone by the end of the day and that my next call would be to corporate. I call corporate and they say that I have to deal with the local store. I call the local to speak with the manager and I can't get anyone because there isn't an option to select to speak with someone.
The CS department sucks! There is a huge disconnect between CS and the store. The left hand has no clue what the right is doing. To completely ignore my calls and emails shows me that customer satisfaction means nothing to the company. I won't buy anything from Ashley ever again and I will tell everyone I know about this experience.

I was told by Mike in Delivery that he was allowed 15 minutes per stop & he had already wasted 25 minutes of his time. He put the furniture back in the truck & refused to deliver items. He told me to stop talking & to shut up. I was told that it was the last delivery of the day & they wanted to go home. This is all because I still had my dresser & bed in the room. I was not told I had to have everything out. I have a huge bedroom & there was still plenty of room to set the furniture in place. But they said they only work in an empty room and it was my fault for not reading the fine print on my contract. I called my sister & husband to come & be witness to how I was being treated. Al then began to insult my sister in law. In a way, I was glad to see they were still being ** while they were here. I was actually scared to have them in my home after it got so confrontational.

Long story short, bought a table, with warranty. The table was later seen by two technicians who said they couldn’t fix the bubbly surface because it’s the material that causes that. Two months later I was able to get the credit for me to choose a different table. I choose a different table, different price (didn’t mind paying the difference). The new table and chairs arrive and the delivery guy rushes out of the door. When I checked the items I saw that they were damaged and I told the delivery guy. He stated that I had to contact the store which I did. JAIRO the manager was extremely rude. After speaking to corporate and many people from different departments, FINALLY I get an exchange.
Exchange date comes around and the delivery guy explains to me that the table he is dropping off is much more damaged than the one I currently have. WTF! I appreciate his honesty as he explained that in an honest opinion if he was a customer he wouldn’t take the “new” table, so I didn’t. I call the store again and again rude managers. Until FINALLY I get to speak to CARLOS, a manager at the store who apologized for everything I was put thru, including the other manager's reaction and service. He was so helpful and agreed to take the items back and refund my money to my account. I felt bad for him because it was not his fault it. I also appreciate his understanding that at that point I was simply very upset. A pick up has been scheduled for my items to be returned. DEFINITELY WON'T be purchasing there again.

I purchased a king size bed March 19, 2019 paid in full. I was advised that delivery would be Friday April 19, 2019 due to the bed rails were pending. I received a call April 17th advising that my delivery was being cancelled and reschedules for Saturday April 27th due to the bed rails are still not end. Today I received a call again stating that my delivery is being cancelled and rescheduled for May 8th (2 weeks later) due to bed rails are not in the warehouse. I am beyond pissed, upset, disappointed and frustrated that my order is still pending bed rails when my order is in the exact status as when I originally placed the order 6 weeks ago.
This is not acceptable. I ordered 3 rooms of furniture from ROOMS TO GO I received everything BEFORE the original delivery date. And ASHLEY FURNITURE CAN'T delivery a bed. This is terrible. I will never purchase anything from Ashley Furniture again or refer anyone. And not to mention it is pointless dealing with their customer service.

We purchased a living room set and paid for it in full. The recliner turned out to be very uncomfortable so I was told the manager was going to call me and it never happened so I called him. When we spoke his customer service was more than just rude, it was downright UNPROFESSIONAL! I guess their company was sold or restructured so the warranty out the door wasn't 30 days. It was 14 days. With whatever company they're now utilizing they say that once it's in my house I own it! WTH? Never again. I can't even get in touch with corporate, they keep me on hold forever.

My biggest disappointment about this store is that they sell low quality furniture from Malaysia. It appears to be shipped to the U.S. in pieces and assembled here. I would have thought for the price the quality would have been better, but it does not seem to be any better than the cheap stuff you get at the discount stores that you bring home and assemble yourself.

Do not buy a bed from Ashley Furniture. They take weeks or months to deliver. Then they do not meet their delivery promise and will waste days of your time. In addition they do not deliver the correct order. They admitted logistics suck and are unable to control their delivery promises. Not to mention they deliver the incorrect bed then make you wait another month. They are nothing but trouble. Frustrating and a horrible store to deal with. RUN FAST AND FAR...GO TO MATTRESS FIRM... While waiting for Ashley to get my order correct, I ordered my Mother a bed from Mattress Firm. Mattress Firm delivered within days, on time and true to all their promises.

I always heard good reviews about Ashley Furniture in that they have good customer service and quality brand furniture - but I was certainly misled. We purchased a couch from there less than 2 months ago. On the day of delivery they told me they couldn’t fit the couch in after paying for delivery and they didn’t even try. They marked up all my walls (I moved into my place that day). I emailed and called to inquire about this and told me nothing could be done over the phone and when I emailed they told me they would get back to me and never did.
I’ve had the couch for less than two months and there’s already pilling on the couch. I requested a technician to come out and look at it. After the appointment and speaking to guest care they told me they couldn’t fix it because it was considered wear and tear. I’ve had the couch for less than 2 months and rarely ever home to sit on it. I’m so incredibly disappointed with this company and will never buy from them again. Don’t waste your time or money. It’s not worth it:

Please do not order from this company. Incompetence all around, from packing the product, shipping/coordinating delivery of the product, and dealing with errors, this company has proven that they cannot handle it. Order came in after 2 months with pieces missing, reported to the vendor who placed the order with Ashley (again), and I am still missing pieces. After 3 months I have a half assembled bed frame scattered throughout my room that is unable to be used. No one seems to want to take responsibility either, so my request for consumers is to avoid this company like the plague.

Short story, do not buy anything from Ashley Furniture. If you would like to know why then feel free to read the novel below... I purchased a sofa and loveseat from the Tigard, Oregon location on March 3rd. We chose to skip the delivery and pick up the couches ourselves. Drove close to 2 hours round trip to pick them up only to get home and realize they are the correct couches, but they do not match. One of them was made in China and one of them was made in Vietnam. The stitching on one couch is white and the other is dark brown. They also do not have matching feet. We called customer care and we were told we would have to drive back out to the warehouse to exchange the couch.
Another trip out to the warehouse and we were given the same sofa again (it does not match our loveseat). After calling the "customer care" line again, they decided to deliver us a 3rd couch. I requested that the couch be checked before sending it to us to save everybody the time and hassle. When the delivery people arrived the couch was still in the box and they refused to open it for me to inspect it. They had no idea about our past issues leading up to this delivery. They had to call customer care to get approval for me to inspect it. Why would I accept a delivery of a couch without looking at it first?! I inspected the couch and it was WRONG again! After refusing delivery and another frustrating call to customer care I was told that a return was approved but that nothing could be done for 24-48 hrs.
I was told that a manager would call me to schedule a pick up of both items. Never received a call. I called again and was told they couldn't do anything because they were in the process of transferring accounts to another Ashley franchise. Called again the next day and was told the account transfer didn't go well and that someone would call me the next day. Still NO CALL. So I call again the next day and the customer care department put me on hold for 10 minutes before transferring me directly to the store I bought the couches from. I spoke with a woman at the store who said she was going to look into it and call me back. NO CALL. I followed up the next two days and she was not in the store. After another phone call I got a hold of Becky and she was the first person I spoke to that gave me any hope this would be resolved. Finally, almost 8 weeks after the purchase we might actually receive our refund. Fingers crossed.
Honestly this is the most absurd interaction I have ever had with a business. No one communicates, no one follows through. We have been dealing with this for almost 8 weeks now and I have wasted close to 6 hours of my time driving to and from the warehouse and countless phone calls to the "customer care" department where no one seemed to care. AND I still don't have couches.
I posted about this issue on their Facebook page and they immediately asked me to message them on Facebook. I did this weeks ago and not only have they not replied, they never even read it. The. they deleted my Facebook post about this situation. I will make sure everyone I know is informed about the sketchy behavior of this company. Our salesperson at the Tigard store was Mari, she was wonderful and I believe she had no idea what kind of mess we were going to have to deal with.

I wish I had taken the time to read all the reviews of Ashley before I wasted my time. I knew Ashley is considered a "cheap" brand of furniture, but I didn't realize the horrible customer service they continually have! I ordered a dresser online on 4/9. After no contact at all from the company, I called Ashley Customer service on 4/18 and was told the item would be in the warehouse by the weekend and would be delivered the following week. They said someone would call to schedule a time.
Again, I heard nothing until I called them back on 4/23 to try to set up the delivery time. Why had they not contacted me as they said they would? The customer service rep had no answer to that. I was told that the first available time for a delivery was May 1st and that they would call me the day before to tell me the time. I requested an afternoon appointment since we cannot be off work or school in the mornings. I was told that it is not possible to request a specific time period and that I would be told the time I needed to be available. That is just horrible customer service. I was charged 99$ for in home delivery, but it has to be at their convenience? I did a quick google search and found the exact dresser at another local furniture store for $90 less. I cancelled my Ashley order immediately. Hopefully I will actually get a refund. As bad as their customer service is, I'm not confident in their ability to complete a refund.

After 60 days go by I call again and am told that I could get a partial delivery, but the sofa and sofa table will be another month! I accept the partial delivery because I’ve been with furniture for more than two months. The lamps that I purchased were not the right lamps and one of them has a switch broken. Consumer relations, the local store and the delivery warehouse have done nothing but give me the runaround. I am now at 81 days still no sofa. Do not buy from Ashley Furniture.
