Purchased a love seat and sofa. Delivery set for one week after purchase. Asked for entire vacation day since delivery window is from 9 to 1:00. Got a call from them the same day of delivery and was told my order was not complete. We no longer have old set so guess for Christmas we can sit on the floor. Thanks.

Really bad quality. We bought a dining table with chairs that broke (both table and chairs) after less than a year of gentle use. They take no responsibility for their products and would not fix/replace the table. I will never buy there again.

We bought a mattress and box springs off the showroom floor (no discount given) less than nine months ago. It started majorly sagging in the middle. We went in to the store to complain and were told someone would come look at the bed. Two men came to the house from the store. We were told the bed was more than three months old, the box springs were broken in half, it was our problem, and they would fix it for $99. The only person who ever slept on the bed is 5'4", 110#, and 27 years old. I don't believe they even took pictures. We threw the bed in the dump. We have shopped at Ashley's previously, but will never go there again and will let our friends know of your service and quality.

Save your money and take it to another furniture store. First, it took my furniture almost two months to arrive. Then, it arrived damaged. I took pictures of the damages as I was instruction by Ashley Furniture's customer service representative. I received a phone call weeks later after I received my damaged furniture. I was told that they would fix my damaged furniture....knowing that the furniture arrived damaged. I made it clear that I did not want my new furniture repaired. I wanted new furniture without any flaws. The representative stated that she would call me back. It's been over a week and no phone call. Shame on you Ashley Furniture.

Regarding order **: I have spent hours holding on the phone to speak with customer service, had two scheduled deliveries where I took off work to wait and both times the furniture never arrived, been promised by multiple sales people they would look into it and call me back.. never receive a call back. Spoke to the delivery manager, Stephanie **, who gave me her direct number and said she would take care of it... never calls me back or answers my call. Over a month later and many many hours wasted and false promises we are still without our dresser. I have spent a lot of money with Ashley over the years and this is the saddest customer service I have ever experienced from any business. Do not order from them.

On November 19th, I ordered 6 items totaling $1521.12 to include a recliner, a foundation twin, a chest of drawers, a nightstand, a twin mattress in a box, and a bed. On November 21st, my credit card was charged $192.14 for the queen size bed, which was incorrectly order, as it should have been a twin. On November 23rd, I sent a photo of the damaged nightstand. On November 24th, I received an email that a second nightstand was being shipped. On November 27th, I received an email that 3 items were being returned, which I presume was the damaged nightstand, as well as the queen bed and rails. On November 29th, I received notification that the twin bed and rails were being delivered, for a total of $213.49. On November 30th, I sent a photo of the second nightstand sent also being damaged.
On November 30th, my credit card was charged $213.49 for the twin bed and rails, although I'm unsure why the queen bed was $192.14, yet the twin was so much more. On December 4th, I was notified that my credit card was credited for $192.14 for the return of the queen bed and rails. On December 11th, I received an email that yet another nightstand was going to be delivered, but it has yet to arrive. On December 13th, I received notification that the recliner, foundation twin, and chest of drawers would be delivered on January 3rd, although the original order back on November 19th said that the delivery would be in 1 to 2 weeks. On December 13th, I received an email that I was to receive a discount of $90 for the problems with the recliner, foundation twin, and chest of drawers.
As for my credit card statement, the following has transpired with Ashley Furniture: On November 23rd, I was charged $192.14. On November 23rd, I was charged $261.51. On December 2nd, I was charged $213.49. On December 6th, I was credited with $53.38. On December 6th, I was credited with $192.14. On December 11th, I was charged $1067.47.

I wish I can give Ashley Homestore in Draper -0 .. VERY BAD ANGER MANAGEMENT. Watch out for long beard guys Managers, one name is DREW **. Drew ** is one of the manager and he is very unethical. Shouldn't be a manager because he have anger issues. Two weeks and half ago I Ordered Queen size bed for my kid that schedule to deliver today and when the delivery guys got here to install my kid bed to find out that they forgot to bring the springs in the middle for my kid bed.
The delivery guy promised me that he will go back and arrange to bring it in today that I should give him 30 minutes. 1 hour and half later no phone call or text so I went to the Draper store where I paid including delivery fees & assembling to see if they can help me with the address to the warehouse to pick it up because my Son need a bed to sleep tonight. The Manager told me to let him sleep on the floor till the warehouse reach out to me. That really pissed me off that a MANAGER WILL SAY OR THINK SOMETHING LIKE THAT.
After waited for 20 minutes the store manager Drew ** come to tell me that the warehouse will follow up with me about the rest of my order that I paid for that I didn't receive, etc. I told him that my kid doesn't have any bed to sleep tonight because they delivery guy recycle my old bed and my son need a bed to sleep and I asked him to please give me Ashley warehouse address so I can go pick it up myself and do all the work and he said NO. When I asked him why he said that is the COMPANY POLICY?? When I asked to return and get my money back he threaten to kick me out of the store so I called police to see what my options are. Even the police understand where I am coming from especially now my kid don't have bed to sleep etc.
NEVER EVER BUYING FROM Ashley Home Store. Managements are not well trained to understand where customers are coming from or even make any effort to work with customers/provide solution. I spent almost $1000 and didn't get what I paid for. Police advise me to call the corporate and get proper help or Civil court.

I'm informing Ashley Furniture that I'm officially submitted a complaint with the FFC and BBB about the service I've rec'd from you folks. Your service is BELOW ACCEPTABLE. Incompetence appears to be the norm with your employees via the telephone. It's obvious, that you either HIRE INEPT EMPLOYEES or YOU'RE HIRING PRACTICE is extremely LOW. When a customer has to be put on the phone for nearly 3 hours, transferred 5 times, only to be forward to the same individual I started with 3 hours earlier, then it's obviously, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand does. I am sending you this information, so that you will be notified, that your company will be on the highlight via the FFC & BBB.

I was at a store in Cornwall that sells Ashley Furniture, I saw a 2-tone coffee and end table set, cream on the bottom and brown on the top. I loved the look and still do (from a distance). I paid for purchase and when I received my receipt in small print at bottom of it it said, No refunds or returns on special ordered items. It turns out this is a special order. I am on my 3rd coffee table. The drawers are not lined up properly. One can not be used because it is so misaligned, the inside hinge on one side sits in 1 1/4" and the other side is 2 1/2".
I just want my money back, there is nothing about this furniture that says quality even when the sale price was $1500. I have been told that after Ashley furniture crosses the border and comes into Canada, there are no refunds. They will not take back their poorly made furniture. I wish I would have come to this website prior to buying and I would have never given them a cent! Hopefully this will help someone before they purchase this poorly made furniture.

I brought Leather Reclining Sofa (3+2 seats) and Dining table with 6 Chairs, within one year leather comes out and dining table wood polishes moved out. I tried to contact several times to toll free numbers, they will never answer and will put me on hold for more than 30 minutes minimum. At last I fed up and disconnected and once I went to store regarding this complaint they are not taking any complaints in store, so again we need to contact toll free numbers. I spend more than $5000 for these items and took insurance for five years. Their customer support is very poor and my money lost. So whenever you go for higher amount purchases go with trusted companies.

We purchased a dining room set with 4 barstools. 2 of the barstools had the welds break. After 2 weeks going back and forth mostly me calling since they wouldn’t call back. We found out that this was not covered under warranty. Okay so pay them extra money under the idea that if anything goes wrong with it for the next 5 years it will be taken care of..
BUYERS BEWARE!! Not true at all. Ashley Furniture prides themselves they manufacture their own furniture. We always stood by our product where I worked. Be aware that you really only have a one year warranty so don’t let them sell you the extended warranty. Better yet go someplace that builds better furniture and stands behind what they sell.. Oh yes remember BUYERS BEWARE.

After calling around 2 find out that there is nothing that they can do with complete attitude from all Representatives including from corporate. Shopping in person was a good experience but the delivery was terrible and customer service was the worst. The customer service does not care about you at all. First delivery attempt: They delivered the bedroom set but one piece was broken. Second delivery attempt: They delivered the part but they forgot the hardware! They have to come back AGAIN!!!! It will take 7-10 days for the hardware to arrive.
Read the store policy: I am not sure if that is the same for all Ashley stores but there is no return/cancellation once you order. I did not sign any paper, but because they left the boxes in my home I cannot return them. It is their own fault that they brought the broken part and forgot the hardware but there is nothing I can do. I asked them to contact me an hour before they deliver but they did not. The customer service left a note for the driver but he forgot to call. They called me and I asked them to wait for 15 minutes but they did not and moved to their next delivery. They said they will be back in 20 minutes but it took 2 hours for them to come back. I would never buy or recommend them.

Picked out two cabinets in the showroom and pointed out how the doors didn't align on the display piece. Told the salesman to note on the order "do not send misaligned doors". Almost a month to deliver and not only where the six doors all misaligned but the finish was awful. Even what looks like a bug spray painted on the the top. I contacted the store in person was told a repair person would come out to inspect. A week later he shows up and says he'll fix the finish. Wich made it a new kind of awful. Back in Dec 2016 I spent close to 3500 on new furniture. The sales man convinced us that their warranty program would cover every type of damage. That is totally untrue. This warranty cost us 400.00. Ask to see this warranty on paper. Once they sell it to you, you get a copy of it. They say if their furniture needs replacing, you can get a new one from their store. A lot of this furniture is an only one type of style, and they do not longer make it, or have it in stock. Within 1 week we had to return a leather couch, and we had to return it twice because the nails were being punched thru the leather. Now 3 years later our electric recliner that cost me 1400 is splitting at the base of the wood, and they will not cover it. This warranty does not cover everything like the sales man says it does. I don't think I would recommend ASHLEY FURNITURE OR THE WARRANTY TO ANYONE!

Shopping in the store and purchasing my sleeper sofa was incredibly easy and relatively pleasant. Once they got my money the pleasantries subsided. The purchase was contingent on delivery by 12/20. I was assured that it was no problem. The sofa arrived to the warehouse quickly and we attempted to schedule a delivery date. Several of my available days did not work because I was working. We finally agreed upon a date on a Wednesday morning. I am a physician and cancelled my morning and scheduled my first appointment for 1:00 pm. The day before the delivery, I got a robocall telling me that my delivery would be between 11:30 and 2:45! When confronted about our arrangement they said that there was nothing that they could do. They clearly don't understand or care what morning is. I lost a half day of work and had to get the purchase refunded. I will never even walk into that store again and I suggest that you don't either.

My husband and I bought a living room set from my step-daughter, who had purchased it a couple of years earlier. My stepdaughter and her husband didn't care for it, because of the "leather" material. After having it for several months, it bothered her husband and so they decided to buy a cloth set. Upon purchasing this set from my step-daughter, we were very pleased. It looked really nice. But, about a year after purchasing it, we started noticing what looked like "bubbling" in the back of the headrests on some of the recliners (mostly, those that we were using on a regular basis). It looked like the leather was somehow separating from whatever was beneath it. Before long, the bubbles started to tear, and it was very apparent that what we thought was "leather" was really "pleather" and not a very durable pleather at that.
Upon doing further research, we discovered that there was a lawsuit against Ashley for this very product, known as "Durablend." I'm not sure that we can collect anything, since we bought it second-hand, but it is very upsetting to know that a cheap product like this was sold for top prices (they paid a significant amount for the furniture with the impression that it was leather).
Recently, we decided to get rid of the crappy, ugly furniture. Out of the blue, we decided to go to Ashley Furniture. While looking at other sets there, I mentioned this issue to the salesman. He made no apologies, he acknowledged that they no longer sell that product, and didn't offer us any kind of deal or anything. You would think they would try to at least apologize and offer a small discount on another set, but he did not. Therefore, we did not buy furniture from them, nor will we ever buy anything from them in the future. Very disappointing.

I agree with the previous review, Ashley Furniture online is one of the worst customer services representatives I ever dealt with. Never buy anything from them!!! Google the item first, I bet, you will find a better price in Amazon or Walmart!!! They states that they match the price, but in fact they didn't. I ordered a Round Rug for $131.85, but the same day found the same rug but by another (original) name in Amazon for $91. Everything was the same (except of course the name), even the picture was the same on both Amazon and Ashley websites. And when I called them, they started to say that it is different item.
Couple days later I received my rug and what was my surprise when I found exact the same factory name on rug, as listed on Amazon!!! I called them again, but they was so rude this time, they didn't listen to me, and when I ask to talk to manager, she told me that the manager will tell me the same!!! Then noticed a defect in the dresser. Called Ashley. They said both need replaced.
1st delivery attempt. The driver said one of the drawers was damaged and had to take it back. 2nd delivery attempt. The driver said there was no threaded hole to screw the leg on and had to take it back. 3rd delivery attempt. The driver wouldn’t take it off the truck because there was a dent in the side of the dresser. 4th delivery attempt on Dec 7. We waited 3 hours and they never showed up or called. They said I didn’t confirm delivery. Which puzzled me since they called Friday and said it would be delivered the next day on Saturday. Hmmm!!!

I said about a month as a half ago, they said it is not covered because I haven’t reported it within 30 days when it occurred then they sent me an email that had the terms and conditions which was never sent to me or been told about in any document. I reported this to Ashley and they issued me a store credit of $350 or so to redeem if I want to buy any item from Ashley.

It's not often that you get the chance to decorate a new home. Moving into a new city with a brand new apartment, we had a blank canvas and were very excited to shop for new furniture. After weeks of doing our diligence researching and visiting the plethora of furniture stores, in the undisputed furniture capital of North Carolina nonetheless, we chose to furnish our home with Ashley Furniture. We purchased a sectional sofa set, a coffee table, dresser chest and a console table with three stools from the Ashley HomeStore in Raleigh. We waited with anticipation for our furniture to be delivered. Unfortunately, this experience turned into a complete nightmare.
Upon delivery, the wrong corner wedge piece to our sectional was delivered. The dresser was not assembled by the delivery drivers as promised. And one of the seats to the stools was unstable. I contacted your customer service department and the representative I spoke with blamed me for the wrong piece being delivered and accused me of lying and trying to steal it. As it turns out, she’d misinterpreted the photo of the sectional sofa that the drivers took which clearly shows the wrong piece delivered. However, she did not acknowledge any fault for her accusation. This ordeal lasted over an hour.
After many phone calls getting the run-around from store associates and customer service, we were able to get the wrong wedge piece swapped out for the right one. We were also sent a measly $150 gift card as an apology for being called “liars.” And we haven't yet used the gift card because we do not want to go through this horrid process again.
Shortly after that, the new wedge piece that was delivered collapses while I'm sitting on it. Why can't this furniture support my 140 pounds? I called customer service again to inform them of what happened and they told me they would send the material needed so that it could be repaired within 5-10 business days. Once receiving the piece, I then had to contact the furniture repair service to schedule an appointment, which ended up being another 2 weeks later.
When the repairman finally came to repair the sofa, he informed us that -- yet again -- the wrong piece had been delivered and he couldn't fix it after all. This led to another round of phone calls with customer service, reordering and rescheduling the repair for yet another 2-3 weeks. When expressing my frustration that after about 4 months of purchasing this sectional I had yet to enjoy it, the representative dismissed me, asking "Why can't you just sit on the other parts of the sofa?" I was baffled and outright offended at this suggestion.
With a broken sectional sofa set (and unstable stool that we’re still waiting for the repair on), we were uncomfortable hosting our family at our place for Thanksgiving this year. Because the broken piece was a wedge piece, it completely ruins the functionality of a sectional sofa, in addition to being an absolute eyesore. During this busy holiday season, we should be focused on family and upcoming travels. Instead we are preoccupied with furniture delivery and repair for furniture that was ordered just this past summer.
According to your own website, Ashley HomeStore is supposed to offer “exceptional service.” This has not been the case at all in dealing with your store associates and customer service team after we made the purchase. We’ve been called liars and been made to wait for months to utilize the furniture we purchased with barely any acknowledgement from your employees of how unacceptable our situation is to your standard. We hope that you can acknowledge that the experience I’ve described is not the standard and make good on these incredible shortcomings.

Ashley delivered cracked leaf, came out with a unmatched leaf, then came out with another table top that was cracked worse than the 1st. And took the table top. Ashley now says there is no way to deliver a replacement before the holidays. The $3300 purchase was contingent on having the furniture prior to the holidays. Now we’re stuck with no dining room with 27 people attending.

Wife and I bought 2 loveseats (couch too big in our 1958 ranch style home and the front closet is at the entrance of the front door) along with end tables, lamps, decor. A total of 5k. The furniture did not come as promised, with extended delays of nearly 3 months due to the arrival of damaged furniture which we refused to accept. We ended up going elsewhere.
Several months passed and we decided to give Ashley Furniture a second try (thinking perhaps management and policies had improved). It had not! We chose another 2 loveseats and contacted Ashley Furniture to order. They had promised a deep discount and free shipping / delivery to our home to "earn" the business again. After "several" attempts to contact them and a personal call to a manager we were blown off. More baloney with damaged products. I posted the updated review on Google reviews. Bad business, broken promises, destroyed deliveries and staff with attitudes. I would not recommend this company.

I am a single mother of two and recently bought my first home. I went to the Ashley Homestore in Chesapeake, Virginia on 11/16/19 and purchased one queen size bedroom set (Baystorm Collection). This set included the bed with storage, the dresser, and the media chest. My rep Maria stated she checked the merchandise and it was showing in stock and readily available. I also ordered full size bed and dresser (Exquisite Model/Collection) at the same time. I explained that I had family coming in town that was staying in my home the week of Thanksgiving and also that I had a bad previous experience ordering furniture online with my delivery date being pushed back so I decided to go with Ashley Furniture instead.
I expressed that I really did not want to wait two and a half weeks for furniture but as long as it would be in within the time frame given... I would proceed with the order. I paid $3046.49 -a lump payment and my order was set for delivery (account #**). I got a call two days before Thanksgiving saying the furniture was not available as expected and my order was being pushed back to December 9th. I was not happy and went into the store in person to express my discontent. I was told "I'm sorry. It's nothing we can do... etc." I was offered to have a credit to pick something else in the store that may be available sooner. I found three comparable sets; however, none of those sets were available either.
Again I agreed to wait as I was told the company usually will not push aN already pushed back date... back again.. But once again... I called today Dec 4, 2019 and spoke to Ashley. Now I was told my order date was pushed back to December 22, 2019 but would likely not be available after Christmas. I was told my representative left a message (which I never got). I also asked who authorized Dec 22, 2019. Ashley explained the rep should not have changed the date without speaking No to me. Now I will be waiting for over a month past the original expected date. One of the store managers offered a minimal gift card which was more insulting than the thought being that the amount was not 1/4 the sales tax I paid for my order.
I am expecting that since Dec 22 is three days before Christmas that my order will continue to be pushed back. Why would a company have a full showroom of furniture and most all of it is it available for months and they DO NOT disclose this to consumers?? Even when shoppers inquire and ask the right questions, they are still not provided honest feedback or information. If you advise me honestly of the wait time for furniture and I purchase it anyway then that is my problem. I feel that this company and its representatives were not honest from the beginning and I feel like the reps do this to trap you. Now what options do I have.. get my money back for furniture I've already even waiting close to a month for and go somewhere else and start the process over again or wait.
I am contacting the customer advocate and will repost information and updates. Horrible customer service. Will never shop here again. My kids are still sleeping on an air mattress as they have for almost a month. If I had honest dates of when my furniture would have been arriving I would have went to another furniture store that would have ensured my babies would have beds to sleep on by Christmas.

Ashley Furniture... We've bought items from there since it opened. We just recently bought a sofa. Both Ashley and we are in Fairfield, NJ, yet they decide to warehouse their products in Edison, NJ...okay...but why charge us $160 for delivery but Raymour and Flanigan - a higher end furniture store literally next to Ashley can somehow deliver to Fairfield for less than half that cost. No matter...The sofa was to be delivered Tuesday...I told the salesperson I couldn't accept morning delivery any day that week but he assured me it wouldn't be a morning delivery. So meanwhile we paid "Got Junk?" over $100 to remove our old sofa.
So over the weekend I get a confirmation email for a 9:30-1pm delivery...either confirm or...well, there was no second choice...so we called this morning to see if we could come to a compromise on receiving the sofa NOT IN THE MORNING...both the Ashley store and corporate...both have the same dialogue memorized word for word which essentially said ...nope...no changes in delivery UNLESS we want to pay an additional $100 to change the delivery date. What has become of the way American Industries do business? Don't they plan ahead for repeat business? We ended up cancelling the order.

On 11/29/2019 first they say they have a brand new one in stock so I wait to get it just to see that it was the wrong mattress. When I go back to tell the salesperson they say it was tagged wrong so she tells me “it’ll be an extra 200 for the mattress.” I said “that’s y’all mistake!” So they honor it and gives me the price they originally wrote up just to find out the mattress isn’t there, then they tell me that’ll it be in on 11/30/2019. In late July of 2018 we bought a 3 bedroom condo at the beach and furnished it entirely with Ashley furniture. You can do the math! By Thanksgiving of last year we finally got the last piece, a dining room table! From the outset, there were issues with the furniture. One of the 2 upholstered chairs had a “cracking” sound which we finally got Ashley to address over a year later! They sent their furniture repair guy last week. He said there were staples that should’ve been removed at delivery and they were tearing the pillow, hence the “cracking” sound. He took pictures, filed a report, and said we’d be getting a new pillow.
We got a call from Ashley corporate the day before Thanksgiving telling us the chairs were no longer available and the warranty was expired anyway. I explained that we’d been complaining about said chair for over a year, i.e. while under warranty, and I wanted to speak to someone in authority... Being the day before Thanksgiving, there was no one available. I explained to her that our 3 queen-sized beds had no slats (we had to go buy them), that the dining room table was defective and had to be replaced, that one of the dining room chairs broke while someone petite was sitting on it (Ashley sent a leg; we had to repair it), and yet they could do nothing to help us regarding our damaged upholstered chair? After disagreeing with the customer service rep about scheduling a technician, Sharon ** agreed to schedule the technician at a specific time and offered $150 in gift cards. While speaking with Sharon **, it was shared that the king bed had collapsed near the foot of the bed after sitting on the edge. Mr. ** adjusted the left support leg at the foot of the bed. It was assumed that it wasn’t stabilized properly as it buckled.
On the evening of Thursday Nov 8, Mrs. leaned back on her pillows and the bed made a loud breaking sound as the head of the bed collapsed to the floor. Mr. ran in to find Mrs. with neck crooked and below the headboard with feet up. It was necessary for him to pull her up and then out of the collapsed bed. Mr. then had to disassemble the entire bed and take it downstairs and then bring our previous bed upstairs and reassemble it. Mrs. was unable to assist at all due to back pain that spread from lower back area to mid shoulder area when the bed broke.
On Friday, Nov 9th Mrs. spent well over an hour on the phone with Ashley to report the incident. Mrs. requested the bedroom furniture be returned as the bed had broken on her twice. Mrs. also reported that she had a possible injury due to the incident. She was asked to send pictures, which she immediately texted as requested. She was told that she would receive a call back within 24 hours regarding the possible injury and report filed to have the furniture returned. I have a text stating that a follow up email with directions of what to do next would be sent and the person I spoke to said I would receive a call back in 24 hours. No contact from Ashley was ever made.
On Tuesday, Nov 13, Mrs phoned Ashley again. Was on hold for several minutes and disconnected twice before her call was finally answered. The customer service rep requested a complete recap of the incidents and Mrs. requested a manager. After an extended amount of time on hold, a customer manager by the name of Stephanie refused the request to have the furniture returned. She was unresponsive to the significant inconvenience and dissatisfaction we had with our purchase. She was disagreeable and said that someone would return our call concerning the incident and risk management would contact me concerning the injury.
We have a broken bed in our garage, a headboard in our hallway, damaged walls in our brand new townhouse. Thanksgiving has passed and Christmas is around the corner. More contact was made to Ashley and more phone calls were unreturned leading up to Thanksgiving. No phone calls have been returned and no one has contacted us from Ashley regarding any of this. It is apparently okay that Ashley received payment on October 6th and today, November 29th, we still have damaged furniture and a damaged home.

In a nutshell, I have shopped in two Ashley Furniture stores, and I Will Not shop in a third! They have some very nice furniture (on the surface) that I was interested in, but there were too many problems...some, very uncomfortable... associated with shopping in this store, beginning with the sales force. They are way too high pressure. They actually continued to follow us around, even after we politely said that we'd like to look around, and would get back to them with any additional questions or decisions. (This happened at both stores.)
At the first store, the salesman knew far too little about the line of mattresses available. I repeatedly asked to see a basic queen and king size, so I could make a comparison. He didn't seem to know where to take me to show me. It was obvious to me that he was taught to sell in a particular order/format, and my questions were confusing him. After letting him show me what he wanted to show me, in the order he wanted to show it to me, I was able to answer my own questions. Then, when I went to look at rocking chairs and began asking about their buy-one-get-one special, once again he didn't know the answers. Each time I asked a question, he had to leave to find out the answer.
In the end, after I had made my selections, and having done my research on competitive prices, his store manager was not willing to offer me a fair, competitive price -- their mattress was a bit overpriced, and their adjustable bed frame was very overpriced. I ended up purchasing from another store -- including, receiving a free mattress pad, which was something he never even discussed the importance of with me, or even tried to sell to me, along with the mattress.
When I came back, after shopping around, and mentioned the importance of a mattress pad -- as his competitors had taught me -- he very rudely and sarcastically said, "Oh, I see you've been shopping around and talking to our competitors." Well, of course I'm going to shop around and talk to your competitors. For him to leave me feeling uncomfortable for having done that, is, simply put, "Not Okay!" Also, the adjustable bed frame I ended up purchasing elsewhere had more features, too, and at a far less price.
As far as actually making a purchase and having it delivered, I never made it that far with this store, and in hindsight, I'm glad I didn't. I have read/heard way too many horror stories from people who have had furniture delivered by this store, only to discover just how poor their quality really is. Not only is there story after story of very poor quality furniture being received, but also of it never being replaced to the customer's satisfaction. People are continually reporting that they have been promised replacements that were never received, and in some cases, even credits for their inconvenience for ongoing, unresolved, returns and replacements, only to discover that Ashley Furniture never intended to make good on these credits...or, so it seems in story after story on the internet.
While I am impressed with the outward design, faux wood look, and coloring of many of their bedroom pieces, I am extremely turned off by their overpricing of such pieces that clearly are very inexpensively made, with very inexpensive materials. I cannot trust a store that doesn't respect my ability to recognize low quality materials when I see them. If you are going to sell me cheap, low quality, "econo-line" furniture, then at least be honest enough to price it accordingly. At least then I know, and can make the conscious choice -- if I want to economize on the cost of my furniture -- to buy cheap.
But, don't try to sell me low quality furniture at a quality price, and treat me like I don't know cheap when I see it. By doing that, not only have you lost me as a customer, but you've also lost my respect for you as a reputable business, and now I've made it my personal mission to make sure that everyone I know and cross paths with, is as equally informed as I am.

Anyways to make the story short a day before my delivery I was told that I would be receiving only 2 things from 9 items I had order. I just think that if they give bad customers services since the beginning what’s gonna happen after. I had to cancel everything since they are having trouble having communication between the employees and customers. I was told they would call me back and they never did!!! BEWARE!!! I purchased a bedroom set recently through their online store. The furniture was delivered on Nov 23, 2019. Or so I thought...when the 3 party delivery company pulled up in a budget truck with only 2 out of the 6 pieces I asked where the rest of the set was. They told me saw the order the day before my delivery and it read 6 pieces on their order. But only 2 when they got to my home to delivery the bedroom set. I asked the man why wouldn't he find out where the 2 other pieces were before delivering it. He had no explanation and said it is not his fault.
We also paid the assembly fee which the drivers refused to set up 1 piece because it was shipped through UPS from Ashley Furniture...and apparently they don't set up the UPS orders. I called on Monday and they told me it would be delivered Dec 7th 2019. They were not willing to give any money back, no discount or an explanation for what happened. Awful service. In Aug. 4, 2019, I went to the store on 215 and Decatur in Las Vegas to order a hardware pack for my bed with customer service rep. Endia, due to my screws being lost while moving. After waiting several weeks for my package to arrive I called Ashley and was told that my delivery should arrive soon. I was told the processing time takes 7-10 days because it is shipped from a different location.
I called again Sept. 2019, and spoke to Jasmine who gave me a tracking number and again assured me that the hardware pack should be on its way. A few days later I called and was told that by another rep that the order had been delivered. I asked her to verify the address. She recited my previous address which is where the hardware package had been delivered. I explained to her that when I placed the order I gave Endia my correct address. Now Stephanie CS rep (same location) says she will have to process it again and have it redelivered. Another 7-10 to process. But since they made a mistake the order would be expedited. After waiting a weeks I and not receiving my order. I called and spoke to Endia who told me that the rep from shipping would reach out to me either by phone or text that evening. I waited to hear and nothing.
I decided to go to the store, to speak with a manager. I spoke with Manager Angell and explained the situation. Once again we went to the CS desk and one of the Reps had to email another location to find out the status. And of course I was told I had to wait for a response. I was told that as soon as they got a response someone from Ashley’s would call me. A few days later, I received a phone call from Endia with the tracking number. Keep in mind my bed is still not put together. I tried to buy screws else where but nothing was a fit. Now it's October, 2019. I received the order. It only had 6 screws. I immediately called Angell who told me that he would research and call me back in a day or so. He never called. I called him a few days later and was told that they had to order the hardware pack once more which takes 7 - 10 days to process.
On November 4, 2019, I received another 6 screws, which is the same as the other package. I immediately called Angell who said once more that he would look into this and see why I received the same six screws. I explained to Angell in great detail as to what parts of the bed I needed the screws for. A few days later I called Manager Angell and he said they (Ashley Furniture) would have a tech come out and put the bed together. Angell assured me that I would get a call to schedule the appointment. Several days went by no call. I immediately called the store and left a message for Angell because he wasn't in. No return call. I called Angell and he said that due to my bed being out of warranty they did not call. The install been canceled. He asked me if he could call me back after he sees what he can do about having a tech come out. No return call.
I called him the following day November 14, 2019 and was told that he had given my info to Alecia ** from Corporate who had informed him that due to the bed being discontinued was the reason they couldn't get the hardware package. Angell not only did not tell me that the bed and hardware pack was not available until months later he never did NOT due his due diligence as a manager to find out what was the issue. He has passed the buck to someone else. He lied to me. He NEVER called me to keep me informed on the status nor did he once returned my calls. He NEVER apologize for the run around and misinformation that I had been given. Angell told me a technician would come out to put the bed together, and this was a complete lie.
The lack of professionalism, competency, honesty and knowledge of your products and services is a zero. Employees not knowing how to place/process orders and know what's discontinued, etc. says a lot about Ashley Furniture and their employees. I will NEVER buy from Ashley Furniture. I have been given the run around for 4 months and then told that a tech would assist and Angell has not kept his word. He instead pass me to someone else. I want some type of resolution and reprimand. This entire process is so unbelievable. I will share this experience not only with people I know but other entities as well.

Very disappointed with the service received. Bought a sectional and at first the care we received was very good. However, the delivery side has been laughable. Let me break this down: 1) First, they delivered the sectional with the wrong part. We have half a couch in the living room. Told we would have to re-arrange to get the correct part, no problem. 2) Got a phone call the day on the day of delivery to say that the part had been damaged and that they would have to order a new one, "don't worry though it will be there next week." Arranged a new delivery date #3. 3) Got a phone call the day before delivery date #3 today that the part is no longer in stock?! We would have to select a new date. At this point I was assured it would be there for Thanksgiving.
4) I had to phone the store to check on the new delivery date #4 (and 7 weeks later) and was then told that yes they have delivery dates available but it wont be until after Thanksgiving. They even said that it is in the warehouse and if I wanted to go and pick it up then I could but they have no room available on their trucks?!!! (It is half a couch by the way).
I spoke to the manager (again) and said I think it is best that I return it - his response was that as you have had the couch (half of it) for so long then they will not accept a return now! So if we did go to pick it up ourselves, that would be 5 DAYS OFF WORK that we have had to take, and received the couch only when we do the work ourselves after 7/8 weeks!!!!
The customer service has been very poor and the way the company blames the different parts of their infrastructure on their problems trying to shift the blame is horrendous. I would strongly advise not to buy from this company unless you are willing to wait a long time for your goods, spend hours on the phone, be prepared to take multiple days off work yourself and then have to go and pick it up yourself anyway!!

I have to say I was at first impressed with the store offerings and service. But service after the sale is extremely lacking. First, at time of purchase the manager was more concerned that he wouldn’t meet the daily quota due to the credit card machine not working. That should have been my first sign. My second was the concern I expressed when I was told delivery would take “2 to 4 weeks”. The manager interjected that he had the “secret code” and could see that my items were in the Philadelphia warehouse and there is no way it would take more than two weeks. It took four. On delivery day I was called by Midlantic Shipping informing me that my items were damaged and it would take another 4-6 weeks for replacement. I told them to unload the truck as I would be refusing the order.
I was also supposed to receive a refund at time of purchase due to sale pricing and four weeks later I still did not receive it. Upon contacting the store, I spoke with someone who was very apologetic and said “I don’t know why they told you that, they’ve been doing that a lot, however stop by and you will get refunded.” Upon arrival I was informed my items were still on the truck and they could not process the refund. I explained I spoke with the shipper and they were removing the items so that was not possible. They told me they would call later that day once the shipping company scanned back the items. Never called.
I went in the next day which was a Sunday and then was told that the items were still listed on the truck and they could not proceed refunding my items. Still on the truck? On Sunday? The shipper was closed. I offered to drive someone to my home to see the huge gaping holes where the furniture was supposed to go to prove I didn’t have their furniture and they refused. They have over 4K of my money and I have no furniture. This was purchased four months ago to ensure I would have it for Thanksgiving. Now my family will be sitting Indian style on no furniture and I still don’t have my refund.
The stores are nice. The furniture appears nice even though it’s all veneers and not real wood but their systems are the worst. Now I have to take off work and fight yet again for a refund. I highly encourage anyone considering this store to go to Haverty’s or Gavigan’s. You’ll pay more but the quality and service delivery cannot be beat. Bob’s is also a great alternative and more in line with their pricing but these crooks are not worth purchasing from.

We immediately called the Edwardsville store and spoke to a back desk supervisor. She said she get a hold of Angela and call me back. Sunday 4:00 pm. my husband went to the store-spoke directly with "this desk manager". She didn't even try to call the Angela! We are so sick of dealing with Ashley!! We have told them a thousand times what number to call-they can't even get this right!! We have demanded that this be resolved ASAP. Compensation as well!! TERRIBLE SERVICE DOESNT EVEN CUT IT. If we do not get this resolved, to all the managers who keep saying "We will call you back" and never do, I will be placing a call to the BBB and report your incredibly horrible services!!

Wanted to order 2 sofa's from Ashley Furniture. When I called to order, the salesman told me as long as I come into the store by 11/23 to take care of the financial end, the sofa's would be in on 11/25. I decided to keep it safe and I went to the store on the 18th of November. While there, I was told it would not be in until the 2nd of December. I left the store very unhappy with this extended date and because the salesman was not truthful. Shortly after I got home, the district manager called me and told me that he was sorry I was told that the sofa's would be in on the 25th of November. He said the 2nd is the best he could do. He offered to discount the protection and give me free delivery. This was a Friday. I told him I would be in on Monday after work and would that be enough time to order and have it on the 2nd of December. He assured me that it would be in on the 2nd of December and that Monday would be fine.
I got to the store at 5:05 pm, the district manager had just left for the day but another salesman found my order and took it to the manager for processing. The manager asked me the details, which surprised me that the district manager did not give him the details, knowing I would be in on Monday. However, the manager did not know about the free delivery, discount on protection, and the promise of December 2nd. He informed me that they do not deliver on a Monday, which is December 2nd, I said, "Tuesday the 3rd?" He said the best he can do is the 4th of December. Oh and by the way, the protection was not discounted, which I told the manager just let that go. By this time, we had waited over an hour, which include the "just give me a couple minutes" excuses.
Finally, after waiting over an hour at this point, the manager came out from behind the wall at the back of the store, gave me the order, and I proceeded to take care of the financial end of it. I was in the middle of finalizing everything and the manager approached me and said, "Oh you want two sofas, we can't deliver that until the 17th of December." Again, I walked out. Four dates and many promises. Do not shop here. They lie and tell you untruths just to get your money. My husband called the District Manager and he offered to "make it right" but I would have to deal with him directly. It takes over 35 minutes one way for me to get to the store, I do not believe anything they say, and their customer service is horrendous are just a few of the reasons I declined his offer. I have bought the 2 sofas elsewhere and it will be delivered in a couple of days. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT ASHLEY AGAIN!!!!

We bought a sofa & loveseat five months ago from Ashley. I emailed Customer Service to let them know my furniture is now covered in fuzz. The material is shedding and fuzzy. I received a text back informing me there was nothing they could do, it's not a defect and that I should buy a sweater shaver. When I followed up with a phone call & then sent pictures they reiterated their position and told me the fabric is getting fuzzy from friction... essentially from sitting on it and day to day use. They were unwilling to assist me any further. So now my five month old furniture looks horrible. I will never buy from Ashley Furniture again!

Nature of complaint: Delivery Issues. Problem description: I live in Northern CO and the nearest store is in WY and we drove up there to look at what their inventory and look at the sectional we saw online. Spent about 2 hours in the store in which we the seller kept leaving us to answer the phone but it happens, we understand.
We finally figured out what we wanted, placed the order in and paid for the tax as well as the insurance and financed the remaining amount. Was told on the paper that the tentative delivery date was 22 NOV 2019 in which we were okay with. Received a text and a call on 13 NOV 2019 stating that we need to confirm the delivery date of 21 NOV 2019 within 48 hours otherwise we will not be able to get that date. So we moved some stuff around to ensure we will have someone home for that date and got rid of the old furniture on 19 NOV 2019 so we will be ready for the new stuff and we will not have anywhere to sit for about 48 hours but no biggie.
They called on 20 NOV 2019 and left a message in which I missed saying that they did not have all my stuff and it will be another 3-4 weeks before they MAY get it and that they did not do what they should have done which is confirm the order and ensure all of the items where there before requesting a confirmation of a delivery date. It took them a week to realize they did not have all of my stuff. Spoke to them on 21 NOV 2019 asking why would they send a delivery confirmation a week in advance and not know that all the stuff is not there only 24 hours prior to delivery. They gave the excuse of, "Ohhh we moved to a new system." Umm.. so you moved to a new system so y'all do not visually confirm that you have all the products?? It is almost Thanksgiving holidays and we will have guests over and we have NO furniture in our family room because of them.
I told the person on the phone that I will wait 24 or 48 hours at most for all my furniture but not 3-4 WEEKS. So I gave her a few hours to figure it out and she did call back with a lame compensation suggestion which was an offer to refund the delivery fee ($75) but still have to wait the 3-4 weeks.... Ummm you think I am worried about $75 dollars when I just spend over $1600... I want my furniture when you told me it would be delivered as I placed the order back on 04 NOV 2019. So by suggestion is to not even BOTHER looking at Ashley and if you DO like their design do not go to Ashley to get it but rather purchase it from a different seller or get something similar elsewhere. I have read how ** reviews about this company but I blew it off and got first-hand experience of the truth.
I called Ashley customer served on 22 NOV 2019 and was on hold for over 33 minutes hearing the SAME bs line of how Ashley is wonderful because they design their own furniture and how they have been award the women choice award but yet I cannot even get a rep on the phone in a timely manner. Once I finally get the rep on the line I told her my issue as I wanted to ensure corporate received my complaint as to how Ashley Homestore in Wyoming SINGLE handedly ruined a veteran and his family's Thanksgiving holidays as I did my part as to ensure I knew what I wanted, paid for the product, confirmed delivery date prior to 48hrs, removed old furniture in prep of delivery just to be told 18 hours by voicemail prior to delivery time that they will not be able to deliver because they do not have all my stuff.
The rep understood and informed me to call their Consumers Affairs office in which she told me the number and I called it today 23 NOV 2019 @ 1230 MST and they close at 1500 CST. Well I wanted to speak to them before leaving this message but since I have been on hold for 50 mins and 45 secs as of right now and still hearing the SAME thing, "If you would like to leave a voicemail please press 1 otherwise stay on the line and next available agent will assist you." Well it seems as if I am not going to speak to anyone and I will ensure everyone I know will not purchase from the "F-" store for delivery, communication and customer satisfaction. I am very happy that I was in the Army for over 13 years, deployed to Iraq twice and to Afghanistan once to still be treated in such an unprofessional and unacceptable way from a large company who say they honor and respect the military.

I purchased 2 end tables on 11-3-19 and was promised delivery in 2 days. I was told the delivery would be within 4 hour delivery window. The delivery never came and no phone call from Ashley. On the 2nd attempt about 5 days later, the same thing happened. Waited and waited and no courtesy phone call. My time is precious but not to Ashley. After many complaints, They agreed to give me Premium delivery (product assembled). Now the 3rd delivery attempt the driver couldn't locate my home and had the worst case of dyslexia I have ever experienced. It took 20 minutes to explain house numbers, street names, addresses near me and zip codes. Even though I said my house numbers and zip codes so slowly (like I was talking to a kindergartner) and 20 minutes of getting nowhere, I told him to forget it because I (we) were getting frustrated and didn't want them at my home.
The 4th delivery resulted in my tables finally being delivered. The tables arrived UNASSEMBLED. I asked the driver if he was going to assemble them and said NO! I contacted the home office after they promised me premium delivery (being assembled) They never returned my phone call. I asked a friend if he would assemble them because I was having guests the next day. He agreed and I paid him for his trouble but he was only got to assemble one of the tables because the other couldn't be assembled because of poor workmanship on the table (the pre drilled screw holes were not aligning with the screws. I called the home office again and the rude supervisor didn't believe me and told me to take pictures of the misalignment. My friend already repacked the table and I was not going to try to reassemble it to show where the screws don't match up. Why would she think I was lying?
NO CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE. She said the only thing she can do is send a technician out but that would be another 3 WEEKS and the table was nonrefundable even though it was their fault. Remember my tables were supposed to be delivered on 11-5-19 and now we're talking mid December just to have someone "LOOK" at it. Then what would happen is the tech would probably agree with me and have to order another table. That would take probably another week to arrive. This ordeal with Ashley Furniture has been a nightmare.

The chair is still in good condition but the mechanical lift bent and it stopped lifting the foot part of the chair. The mechanism has a 5 year warranty. So it is still under warranty until February 2020.
I went buy the store in Mississippi where I bought it and I was told that yes it’s under warranty and I needed to call the service center. I would love to give a good review because their furniture is nice and usually priced fairly, but the customer service is horrible. I received a couch that I bought a 5 year warranty on and it was ripped during delivery and missing 4 legs. Before delivery even occurred, I was told if anything was wrong during delivery, that wouldn’t even be covered under warranty because it is Ashley’s fault and they would fix it right away. It has taken more than 5 phone calls and 2 in-store visits to get them to even pay attention to the issue. Their excuse after my last in-store visit, was that it was “sent to the wrong department”, but would still take 10 days to get a tech to come out.
Even when a tech did come out after a MONTH of having a ripped couch and missing legs, they simply took pictures and said they couldn’t do anything else once the case was reviewed. Mind you, I had already sent pictures in with the initial call. The tech said that after the case was reviewed per HIS photos, I’d have to call ANOTHER tech out to put the pieces together. He couldn’t give me info on whether they would be replacing the entire piece or just certain damaged pieces and told me it’d be “a surprise” when it came in and I’d have to call accordingly then. I haven’t received any info and it’s been a week since that tech came out and over a month of me recieving the couch AND notifying them of the rips and missing legs.
If I wanted a couch with these issues, I could spend half the money to buy a couch with rips and missing legs at Goodwill. On top of this, I ordered an accent cabinet with a delivery date of 11/20. I hadn’t received a notice of delivery as of today (11/19) so I gave them a call to check on it. During this call, they told me they didn’t have anything on delivery for me tomorrow and after 20 minutes of them searching for my sales order (I provided them with the order #), they found it and told me it wouldn’t be delivered until 12/10. They gave no communication on this until I called and was on hold for 20 minutes. I took this day off work with the thought that I’d receive this delivery during this window per my paperwork.
Long story short, unless you want a second job.... don’t order from Ashley Furniture. Their service is horrible and has no communication whatsoever. You WILL have to follow up every day on them unfortunately. I totally understand mistakes, but they haven’t fixed any mistake they’ve made and it’s clearly not a one time mistake as it’s occurred with multiple products I have ordered from there. I will be returning all of my products and buying elsewhere (most of their products are cheaper online from other stores anyhow). I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone as it’s 100% more work than it’s worth. I’d rather pay a couple $100 more and receive quality products and service than mistakes that don’t get fixed after multiple follow ups and management that doesn’t seem to be organized, proactive, or simply care about any of their business.

I placed a multitude of calls and still no resolution as of today. When I call Ashley Furniture they say that it is up to FGO to replace the lamp. What I have purchased from Ashley faced problem within 1 month and the customer service did not accept to return or even replace the product... I will never purchase from Ashley... They cheat consumers offering products with price & image of high quality one and at time of purchase mention it’s very high quality but instead deliver very poor quality and rudely mention they can not change or correct the problem just after 1 month since purchase!!

This series of events baffles me but here is what happened. I moved into an apartment and needed new furniture. I went to the Ashley Furniture store in Silverdale, WA and selected a leather, power recliner love seat, coffee table, a small dining room set and bedroom furniture. A total of more than $5,000. The store told me that the furniture would be delivered the following Friday.
I got a text in a couple of days saying delivery would be between 8 AM and noon. I scheduled a day off from work for myself. The next day I got a voicemail that they had rescheduled my delivery for between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM. I stayed home the entire day waiting for the delivery. Around 4:30 PM I noticed a white delivery truck outside my apartment. It was moving slowly away through the parking lot. I went outside to see if it was the Ashley delivery folks but they had already rounded a corner. I did not know for sure if it was an Ashley truck or some other delivery company. I walked the other direction to intercept them thinking they were having trouble finding my building. By the time I got there the truck was pulling out of the parking lot onto the main street. I waved at them thinking they may just be lost but they just continued driving.
I thought that maybe it was not the Ashley delivery truck so I sat at home waiting. Finally, around 5:45 I went on the Ashley website and clicked on Track Order. The status said, "Could not deliver". I called the customer service number and spoke with a man about the situation. He said that the GPS showed that the truck had been at my location but that no one was home. I said that I had waited all day for the delivery and was definitely home at the time the delivery truck came by. He told me the drivers are instructed to take a photo of the delivery location if no one is home and that there was a photo of my apartment. I said, "That may be but no one knocked on my door to announce they had furniture to deliver". He said he couldn't do anything and I would have to call back the next day to reschedule delivery.
I told him I wanted to cancel the order and he said he was unable to do that. I asked him to transfer me to someone who could. He transferred me to customer service. I waited on hold for 20-30 minutes before someone finally answered. I explained the situation and asked if they could help me. The Customer Service Rep put me on hold and, apparently, contacted the delivery department. When she came back on the line she told me that she had seen the photo and that it was obviously taken from the parking lot and didn't look like they even got out of the truck. She said that she was trying to contact the delivery manager and re-schedule the delivery and that she would have to call me back.
On Monday, since I had hot received a call, I went to the store and asked to speak to someone about the situation. I spoke with a customer service rep who informed me that they wouldn't be able to deliver my furniture until eight days later. I said that that was unacceptable and asked to cancel my order. She said she would have to get her manager's approval.
She spoke to someone for a few minutes and then he came to talk with me. He asked if there was anything he could do to make things right. I told him that if he could deliver the furniture that week I wouldn't cancel the order. He told me that this wasn't the first time this has happened. He said that Ashley was finding it difficult to find qualified drivers in the state of Washington and that they were forced to use contract delivery companies. He explained that Ashley deliver personnel were paid by the delivery but the contract drivers weren't. So, they would drive by the delivery address because they knew that they were being tracked by GPS. Apparently they get paid whether they actually deliver the furniture or not.
He said he would raise cane about this and wanted to know what days I didn't work (so I wouldn't have to take another day off). I told him Saturday and Sunday. He said they don't deliver on Sunday but that he would try to arrange a Sat delivery and would call me back. This is Thursday night and hadn't heard back so I called the store and asked to speak to the manager. I was told that he was on a call and could she take a message. I explained the situation and she looked up my order and said that it was scheduled for the following Tuesday. I explained that the promise the manager made was a Saturday delivery or I would cancel. She said she would pass on the message.
A short while later I got a call from someone else at the store who told me that they couldn't make the delivery until Tuesday. Once again, I explained that that was not acceptable and that I wanted to cancel the order. She said that I would have to come into the store to do that. I said I would come in the next day. A little while later the manager I spoke to on Monday called me back and asked what the problem was. I reminded him that I had spoken with him in person on Monday and that he said he would try to arrange a Saturday delivery and call me back. He said he didn't recall that and that he speaks to a lot of customers everyday. I told him I wanted to cancel the order and he reiterated that I would have to come to the store. Tomorrow I will go to the store and cancel my order. I am amazed that a company like Ashley Furniture can treat a customer as cavalierly as they have me and stay in business.

Ashley Furniture store in Fairfield NJ Rt 46, SALES people are awesome. These people are great of course. No problem here...all is well until there is a problem after you buy. Bought high end dining room set 9 months ago. Barely use this set. Only during holidays and just discovered leg on one chair is cracked. Call customer service and was told because is not "a manufacturer defect" then nothing can be done. That says a lot about the quality of these sets and the company that says will stand by its products. If this was over a year I might understand but 9 months a barely used by average sized people? I've been a customer for many years. They are OK losing a customer over a single defected chair. Not a good way to run a business. This is the cardboard quality you get on those elegant chairs at Ashley.
Ashley furniture update. Yet two more chairs just broke one of their legs. Normal use. We are not heavy people nor use these chairs a lot. These chairs are only used maybe 2 to 3 times a month for dinner. BEWARE OF THE QUALITY OF FURNITURE you buy here. They also will not stand for their products. Once you buy they don't want to hear from you anymore.

DO NOT USE THEM. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE. I would give them 0 stars if I could. My roommate and I purchased a warranty through Ashley Furniture for a couch under the premise we would get an additional discount off the couch. This was not the case. The salesperson LIED TO US. After noticing the discount did not come off, we called the NYC store and we were told "she no longer works at Ashley Furniture." Conveniently, she left the same day I called, according the manager.
The leather couch we purchased has a giant scuff on it, so we want to use our extended warranty to get the cushion replaced. We called the 3rd party warranty company several times. It's been 4 months and the cushion has still not been replaced. We called Ashley to inquire about this and were told it's not their problem. To summarize - we were lied to and conned into purchasing the protection plan/extended warranty, and then we were abandoned once they had their money and won't help us in getting this cushion fixed. I will never shop at Ashley Furniture again.

The delivery men set up table and pushed it close to the counter. They pushed the chairs in and the one man stood behind the chair and said here, looks good sign. I took a quick look and seemed good. They walked out door and at same time my husband pulled out chair where man had been standing, the underside of the table was broke!! I ran outside yelling for the men to stop and they kept driving! I spent the next 2 hours trying to reach someone at the company.
When I finally did they said they would have the truck come back and pick up the table that afternoon. Wound up taking the afternoon waiting for a truck that never came. 3-4 more calls I was told no worry they would pick up next and refund me. They did pick up next day and the men that came this time actually said the guys from yesterday will get in trouble le that they must have broke it. Now, I learn after all the headache.... they are still charging me shipping!!!! Fraudulent behavior by their delivery people and they want to charge me. Ashley's solution was for me to re-select another item or accept a store credit even though the table was damaged twice during assembly. Ashley Furniture Corporate Office, Service Department, Ahmed and/or Yanzi did not return repeated phone calls. I also made multiple trips to the Regency Furniture Store in Capitol Heights, MD and was advised by Manager, RC that he didn't have an issue with me Ashley removing the damaged table and offering a refund. HOWEVER, fast forward 3 months, we were noticing REALLY bad pilling happening on the fabric, we chalked it up to wear and tear. Fast forward again another 3 months and the fabric is so pilled that people COMMENT on it when they come over to our house... it's EMBARRASSING! We called customer service, and surprise surprise they do not warranty the fabric, or would not return our couches because we were dissatisfied.
They sent out a tech out, he came over and stuffed our pillows so full they are ridiculous to sit with on the couch, and basically told us that it's our problem about the fabric because Ashley doesn't stand behind their products. So needless to say we spent a lot of money on a couple of couches that will be in the landfill sooner than later, but one thing we know for sure...we WILL NOT BE BUYING A SINGLE THING FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE AGAIN. SAVE YOUR MONEY and go somewhere that has BETTER service, and BETTER quality!

Not only poor service, but a danger to the other residents. My brother, who only has one good arm, and one of his neighbors pushed and dragged his old furniture to their trash room. I tried contacting their customer service department three time over a period of three days and sat on hold for over 40 minutes each day until finally having to hang up. There was no way to contact them. I even tried to online chat with them and that was unavailable on their website.
I am now stuck with a terrible brand new bed. I am going to have to go shopping this weekend to buy a "real" bed and have this junk removed from my home. I am so disappointed and feel very foolish. READ THE FINE PRINT. Don't be fooled by pictures and the descriptions. They are very good at hooking you into buying and then there is no going back. A tough and expensive lesson for me this week. I have purchased 4 sets of furniture over a period of a year and a half. I purchased a set in January from the West Dublin Granville store in Columbus Ohio. It was a reclining sofa and reclining loveseat. Natasha also persuaded us to purchase the insurance as “it covers anything that happens in the 5 year warranty period”. We put it in our back room. We (there’s only 2 of us here) always sit in the front room by the front door to the house. The back room is on the rare occasion of needing overflow. It got used maybe a half dozen times.
In August I’m cleaning back there and notice on both sets but especially the loveseat the fabric has started to pull apart. I start calling customer service. After literal hours on hold over a week I finally get a hold of someone. I have to contact insurance. I do and send and all the info and photos needed.. Declined. Call customer service again numerous times and email numerous time. Can’t get a hold of anyone. Call the store I purchased at and spoke with Bill. Tell me, "Yeah it’s a defect in the material. Call Ashley customer service and they’ll take care of it."
Ok so I continue to call. Get a hold of someone only to be told I have to call another number. Call them and response is, "Sorry can’t do anything." Keep trying and get a run around. Have to call this number. That number says, "Nope have to call the other." It’s now been nearly 3 months of the runaround. Probably a 100 emails multiply hours upon hours of calling. The furniture has not hardly been sat on. The seat cushions are still plump and no butt impressions at all!!! I honestly will never buy a single thing from Ashley ever again. Horrible customer service horrible product. Goes back on their own words.

The first time I went to pick it up the item was completely damaged. On the 2nd trip it looked perfect, no rips or visible damage. When I got home I noticed the frame on the right hand side was not fully intact - it had a lot of wiggle room which it shouldn’t on a brand new sofa.
I called Customer Care 3 times and even spoke to a manager who advised that there is nothing they can do. I called the store and they directed me to Customer Care. One of the reps even advised that their warehouse has signs everywhere that say you are getting the furniture “as is” when it’s released and there is nothing they can do.
I would think that a company like Ashley’s would have higher quality standards and not have items to release to a customer that is not fully inspected structurally. I can only imagine how many others have taken furniture home that “looks” perfect and then come to find out that something is wrong and are now stuck with damaged furniture that did not have an “as is” price tag. I hope this review reaches the corporate office and raising this as an issue to the quality assurance and customer support team to improve this process at the Edison location. I called their warranty company for a repair. They don't take electronic submissions of claims. Following their procedures, I mailed them a repair request form and a picture of the sectional. After 13 days they denied the claim without looking at anything because their policy is claims must be reported within 5 days. I called Ashley and their response was I didn't follow Guardsman's policy of filing paperwork within 5 days.
I guess my biggest issue is that Ashley is totally unconcerned with helping their customer. They are selling warranties to customers from the Guardsman company that is full of gotcha clauses and has no intention of providing warranty service. After spending thousands of dollars at Ashley Furniture, their complete refusal to help me in any way is surprising to me. To make the moving less expensive we decided to sell some of our furniture so as we got here few weeks later I went to Ashley to buy new furniture. We spent 15.000.00. Within the furniture we bought there was a king mattress that was supposed to be the best brand they had as it was made by the same company “Ashley.” Went I first try the mattress at the Glendale store it feel comfortable but I doubted a little because I felt it was too soft; the sales associate told me not to worry about it too much as I could try it and if within a week I felt it was getting to uncomfortable as the mattress started to sink more and more as time passed by, then I could always return it.
Exactly a week later I called her and first of all it was a pain to contact Ashley (the worst customer service I have always experienced) so finally after several attempts and voice messages I had left she contacted me saying unfortunately they weren’t be able to accept the return due to their policy return. They sent a “technician to evaluate it. The technician said the mattress didn’t qualified for return because it was less that 1 1/2 inch of the level of sinking according to “their return policy”.
Time passed by (weeks) and we didn’t hear from them, my husband and I decided to stop by the store to talk to the manager in regard what resolución they would come up with and to our surprise he told as there was nothing he could do to resolve the issue. Shame on Ashley store. They are just simply a scam. Liars, and dishonest when it comes to their “return policy”. I really regret spending so much money there and they didn’t even thought about that. If I ordered online one thing I liked was they offered 18 mo financing where the store would only do 12 or 24, and the multi-year would have a lesser discount % so I would've paid even more. Not sure if they were fleecing me straight up, or if it was some sort of computer issue. The rep 'refreshed' the inventory data right before we ordered...

I should have learned the first time. But no...10 years later. I purchased the floor model as is. It was in perfect condition. Until I got it delivered. "Nothing we can do. It was a floor model as is.". I get the concept. It went from the store to the warehouse and the warehouse to me. Someone damaged it. It's all my fault and I have to deal with messed up damaged furniture. All because it was a floor model. I will never never go here again. I will sit on the floor, if this was the only furniture store around. $1900.00 later. They are the worst.

I purchased a dining set from Ashley Furniture in Lake Charles La. Everything was fine until it was time to check out. The computer was done and I had to wait to check out. I left to do a errand and they were supposed to call when computers were back up. No one called. Then when they delivered my stuff the table was wrong. They returned it and said it would be taken care of. I called and nothing was ever done to get the correct table ordered. Had to go to store and reorder table. Set up new delivery date and heard nothing from them. I kept trying to call store.
NO ONE answers the phone no matter which number you press. Called a different number for delivery and someone set me a new date of delivery. Still can't reach anyone at store again no matter what button you press. This store is the worst I have ever done business with. Will never shop there again. None of them seem to care about their customers. I have talked to manager and office people. Nothing is getting done.

We've made two purchases from Ashley in the last two years and there will be no more. Both deliveries arrived missing pieces i.e. dining room set with no chairs, bedroom set with no feet. The customer service department is the least helpful group I can remember dealing with. As a matter of fact they just tell you how sorry they are, will ship the missing items in a week or 10 days, which is pretty useless if you have already gotten rid of your old bed and now have nowhere to sleep. If you choose to shop at Ashley always remember the old adage "Buyer Beware" a term that should be part of Ashley Furniture's logo...Dale

They said it it going to be fixed or replaced either one but they were delaying the services. Finally 2 months later they said that the insurance don't cover nothing because is past almost 2 months. Besides that the customer services employee was impolite and annoyed. She told me be shut up and hung up the call.
I call back again and the lady said only English so I understand that in United States I have to speak English but they offer Spanish only. Forget the client. It is false promise and false publicity. Finally The other lady said you have to paid for everything broken our company don’t do nothing and that it. So it is possible that the Ashley furniture treats to the client. I need really help. They are but but services. I just need to know how solve my situation. They don’t want to hear nothing about my complaint. Thank any help.

I ordered a coffee table and here is what happened: First they delayed the delivery date. I called customer care and they offered 10% discount. Then they eventually delivered the product and it was completely different table. I called customer care. They offered 40$ off and said they will send the correct table. Yesterday finally I got the right table and while installing it realized it was broken.Again I called customer care and they said either take 50$ off and keep the broken table or uninstall it pack it and they will pick it up. Now it took my friends help to install this in the first place so I told the lady I can not pack it myself and send someone to help me pack it again. Her response was we do not do that.
This is my first ever negative review of anything but How can you mess up same order thrice and then not help to make it right. I don’t need discount, I don’t need apology, I need The product I purchase and I need it to be right. Ashley has multiple stores in Austin and they can’t send someone to help me uninstall and pack it? It’s completely their mistake and I have suffered enough. I have purchased my bedroom set and bunch of other stuff from Ashley but never again. Donating the broken table and keeping the bad experience.

By far, the absolute worst online purchase experience I've had. BY FAR!!!! I ordered a King Bed frame, two night stands, and spare room bed and mattress set and it was all messed up. Part of my order never showed and the part that was supposed to be delivered from the warehouse just never showed when THEY called and set up my delivery date and time. My husband stayed home from work and waited for the 3 hour delivery window and we were told we were the 4th stop. No call. No delivery. I of course called to see what was going on and COULD NOT get thru to a human for 30-35 mins at a time and called and waited multiple times like this. When I was finally able to get ahold of someone they couldn't seem to figure out what the issue was. I called again and still no one could figure it out.
Called the local store seeing if they could give me a better number and the lady blamed me for not confirming the delivery, although I had - then proceeded to tell me that the order wasn't even available and wouldn't be until Nov. 8 - So please enlighten me how I can be blamed for "not confirming" when they order is backordered to begin with. I get it and understand that things are not always available right away. That's fine - but the consumer should be notified immediately - instead I had a delivery set by ASHLEY and then the mess happened. I still have gotten nowhere and will be cancelling my order and giving my business to another company. Good luck to all those who order online - from my experience - ONLY order from in store and save yourself this trouble.

I bought a couch from Ashley in Toms River September 2018. It broke August 2, 2019 when we moved it to get new carpet in. There is no center support apparently. I took the extra warranty for $229.99 and tried to get it repaired. They had me send a bunch of emails with info and every time I sent one thing they wanted another.
Finally they came to repair it on September 10 but the tech said he did not have “the right tools” and we need to reschedule. He said they’d call us in another 3-5 business days. Shocker but they never called so two weeks later I called and they said it would take 2-8 weeks to get the part. It’s a piece of wood you can get at Home Depot that same day!! So three months after this whole fiasco (and a complaint to the BBB) I got an appointment for October 25. They called to say the tech was going to be at least 45 minutes late which would put the time at almost 5:30 and we had to leave by 6:00 so that wasn’t getting done. They weren’t even apologetic.
I understand things happen and you run late but it should not take three months to replace a board in a couch. My uncle could’ve done it for us the whole time but I took the warranty. I told them I want my money back for the warranty but it will be pro-rated so I will get less and it will take 7 business days for the store to call me. I had also bought a year later a mattress which was not the mattress we wanted even though the serial numbers match and furniture for my daughter’s room. I’m waiting a couple more days for the store to call me and I want my money back for the warranty on that furniture also. Don’t do business here. They’re awful. Oh and check prices online because they’re HUNDREDS of dollars different from when you go to the store.

I bought a sectional sofa from Ashley Homestore in Burbank. Salesman told us it was all leather and that we needed to purchase insurance just in case something happened and that they will cover anything that happened to our sofas so we confidently bought it as well. 3 months after having the sofas I noticed the leather started to have like air bubbles and eventually would tear the material. I went ahead and called Ashley's and they told me I had to call the insurance company so I called them to make the claim and they told me they needed to request the invoices and that it was going to take about 2-3 months so I was like ok as long as everything gets covered.
Months passed and I never heard back from them, I went into the store myself and requested the invoices. As soon as I got them the next day I called "GBS" the insurance company they use and I told them what was going on and that I had the invoices they needed to move forward with my claim. Long story short they told me that it was over 30 days since the damages happened and they couldn't cover me and refused to pass the phone to a manager and simply told me that my only option was to walk in the store and talk to a store manager and see if they exchange the sofas or refund me the money.
I went into the store and explained what was going on and by this time it was over a year since I started noticing the damages. On top of that the electrical would give out on the sectionals and recliner. Till this day they still don't work and he told me he needed to send a technician so I waited for a week for the guy to come and he was even surprised how the sofas looked and definitely noticed that the electrical was bad. He mentioned something about a motor was bad. Anyways he tells me that the store was going to get back to me within 5-7 business days.
2 weeks passed and I never heard anything so I called the store. They made me call corporate and they were still waiting for report to wait about a week and a half. 2 more weeks passed and I decided to just march in there and talk to the manager. He told me he was going to see what he can do to give him about a week. 2 more weeks after that passed by and he never reached out so I called him seeing if he had an update and he just tells me, "There is nothing I can do," that I need to call the insurance. At this point I am furious and don't know what to. You guys just have me in circles avoiding to fix this issue! Sofas look terrible. Recliner doesn't work. I need more furniture for another house I'm remodeling and I was still thinking of getting furniture but now I am disappointed and will never shop here again or refer people!

September, 2nd, 2019 I went to Ashley Furniture located in Manassas Virginia and bought a five pieces bed set as well as two large wall arts and wall hanging accent mirrors. The sales person named Naveen sold everything to me at the time and verbally assured me that upon the delivery time, Ashley furniture will deliver all items and hang the wall art as well as accent mirrors on the walls.
I purchased everything exclusively based on the verbal agreement that Ashley Furniture will assemble and hang all items. While I was waiting for the delivery to be received, I communicated with the Ashley store and Sales person Naveen multiple times via phone. Every time we talked, I confirmed that Ashley will deliver and hang all items as agreed upon the purchase time and Naveen surely convinced me multiple times that YES Ashley will provide the full services as he sold them to me. Sales Person Naveen is a true actor and a LIAR.
On September, 24th 2019 Ashley brought the delivery to my house and prior to receiving the delivery I confirmed from the delivery guys again whether they will hang the wall art and accent mirrors on the walls or not. Delivery guys refused to hang the wall art and informed me that their policy does not allow them to hang items on customers' walls. I was not aware of this POLICY nor this information was ever exchanged with me upon the purchase time. Ashley’s sales person Naveen provide false information to convince me to purchase the items and services that were not part of the Ashley’s standard policy and procedure.
At first I refused to receive all items until Ashley’s delivery guys reached out to customer service and spoke with Timia ** (Customer Care Level 3). She is trained to lie and rob people. She convinced me to receive and retain everything that I initially purchased based on $200 credit towards my Capital One credit card account. She also admitted and apologized that I was misinformed and she will investigate this with the store manager Nooruallah and sales individual Naveen. Based on the $200 dollars credit I agreed to receive all items that I purchased but then also requested Timia ** to further look into this case as I was not satisfied with the entire nauseous.
Ashley's delivery guys delivered and assembled the furniture but refused to mount all other items. I gave them $30 dollars tip plus food prior to exiting from my personal property. After the delivery guys departed, I noticed that my Gold chain and brand new cologne was missing from the restroom. The restroom door was closed by one of the delivery guys while I was communicating with Timia ** on the phone.
I then quickly left my property and went to Ashley’s furniture store in Manassas Virginia and spoke with store manager (Nooruallah) and sales person (Naveen). I addressed the fact that the two guys who arrived to my house stole my personal belongings and I would appreciate, if Ashley could reach out to them and request them to give my items back. Instead of investigating the incident, Ashley’ store manager Noor told me that I have to reach out to customer care. Customer care was closed at the time I went to store to report the issue. I left the store and called the local police station in Gainesville Virginia and reported the incident. Sheriff requested me to sort it out with Ashley and if no resolution is provided then reach back out to them.
Next day when I called Ashley customer care and spoke with Timia **, I transparently shared my frustration along with the theft activity that Ashley Furniture delivery guys were fully responsible for to her. I requested her to investigate the incident and provide the solution. Timia refused to handle this and told me that I have to personally reach out to the delivery company. I never dealt with the delivery company, till this day don’t know the name of the company, did not schedule the delivery of all purchased items through them, it was Ashley who was responsible for those tasks and procedures. Timia ** never provided the delivery company’s information nor assured me to investigate the incident. However, she did tell me that someone from the delivery company will reach out to me.
Shortly after speaking with Timia **, I received a call from an individual, who told me that he is the owner of the delivery company and the two guys who came to my house were not responsible for stealing the items. When requested that individual to provide his company’s information, he told me that he will send it to me via text message. I have not received that message till this day.
After the entire theft and hassle of the entire purchase process and delivery, I reached back out to Ashley’s furniture and told them that I would like to return all items and receive a full refund. Ashley’s representative Timia ** refused to speak with me and another representative informed me that there will be no refund nor return accepted by Ashley’s furniture based on their policy. I would advise anyone out there not to do business with this merchant. This merchant has deceived and robbed so many good folks out there. I am surprised that they are still in business and no one has taken an action to take them out of business.

If you're in a brick and mortar Ashley Furniture store shopping, make sure you get the stock number and check the online price at www.ashleyfurniture.com before you buy; the prices may not match. I was fortunate enough to have a store with a general manager/owner good enough to refund me the full price which they could not match and also did not hit me with the 15% restocking fee, but your mileage may vary.
To be clear, I'm not talking about a couple bucks either. In my, possibly unique case, the increase from online to brick and mortar was just over 52% more before tax and excluding the local delivery charge. Contextually, that's $320.99 + tax with free shipping online vs. $489.99 + tax + $50 local delivery charge in the store. In general, like Ashley Furniture stores and because my local store owner was so fair, they have certainly earned my future business. I make this review to hopefully stop someone else from having to make unnecessary additional trips to a local furniture store like I did.

Spent 22K with this last year. 2 months ago the screws holding the bed rail pulled out and the bed collapsed. Tried to call for a week and finally went to the store to find out it went out of warranty 2 days earlier. Manager said nothing they could do. She gave me the number to GBS the 5 yr protection. After weeks of dealing with them they denied it saying it was a manufacturer defect. They have lost a customer over a $110 bed rail and I will never choose a warranty program, especially GBS

If I could give this experience a true rating it would be -1,000,000. This will be my first and last time using Ashley.

I purchased an adjustable base and within the first month it was making loud noises and depending on how the bed was adjusted such as the head or the foot it would get louder. I called to have the base looked at and the first time the technician cancelled right before the appointment. The second time they showed up. The tech replaced some padding in the areas where the motors were. After that it was still just as bad or worse so they came back out and at that point the guy did the same type of procedure and it was still making noise so he said it couldn't be fixed. They were very pleasant about replacing it.
After they replacing it within a month the second new adjustable base was also making loud noises and just not running smoothly or properly. I'm in the middle of trying to have this second base looked at. They're going to try to fix it and I'm sure that the same problem will continue and ultimately they will have to replace it again. I just feel like I wasted my money on a piece of furniture That I'm going to continue to have problems with and there's really no way out of this continuous cycle of try to fix, replace it and wasting time waiting for techs, calling for service, etc... I spend so much money on a base that just doesn't work. I'd love to have my money back but looks like I'm just going to have to keep getting the base replaced.

What does your comment pertain to: website:offers. Comments: My first exposure to Ashley Furniture has NOT been a pleasant one. When I found the sofa online that I wanted, The Calion $299.00, I found I needed to go to the local store which I did. They did not carry it and had not heard of it even though they could find it on their computer online too. I then tried to to order it online and the website would not allow me to. Finally I spent 20 minute on hold with the help line only to be told that this sofa is not sold in my area! Very frustrating and a huge waste of my time!

I purchased a sectional couch and mattress/box spring from Ashley Furniture. Product is nice, customer service and execution is severely lacking. 1st delivery attempt: Drivers delivered half of the sectional couch, warehouse had picked an additional full sofa rather then 2nd half of sectional. Also delivery drivers did not have instructions to take away old mattress/box spring and therefore would not take it. Drivers documented issue and stated customer service would contact me. After 48 hours and no contact, reached out on my own. Got 2nd delivery scheduled, and confirmed pickup mattress/box spring pick up, and delivery of sectional.
2nd delivery attempt: Drivers arrived with 2nd half of sectional, but this time it did not come with feet. Sectional is now 4 inches short, called customer service, 8 - 10 business days for delivery of feet. Requested expedited delivery, they stated that was expedited and no other options. Also, instructions were to take the mattress only, not box spring. Customer service agreed to let drivers take box spring. Waiting for 8 - 10 business days until feet arrive, still waiting. Drove to store to speak with manager, when got there asked for store manager, was told no one available to speak. Customer service at store sent email requesting expedited delivery of feet, and that if I don't hear back in 48 hours to call back. Everyone nice, but obviously do not care. Once you pay they are in no way interested in helping you.

The first week of August 2019 my husband and I went to Ashley in Springfield Missouri and bought $5,000 worth of furniture. That included coffee loveseat, coffee table, end tables, nightstands for our bedroom and console for our living room with electric fireplace in it. We were given when we bought the furniture a date of a split delivery. First part delivery the end of August. Second part the first week of September. As the date approached the end of August we got a call that they had to change the delivery for everything until the second week of September. Reluctantly we said yes but as that date approached we once again received a call then wanting to deliver a couple of the items but then there was other items that were not even going to be available until October!
We then received our night stands before the final delivery of the console. The nightstands we ordered off their website and the colors on the nightstands/their website just four different colors and did not match her bedroom. So I called and asked the store if we could return the nightstands and the reason why for it. I left a message. No reply. I left another message. No reply call back. I left another message and finally without message I requested the sales person that sold us the furniture to call me. Her name was Michelle. She did call me. She said there shouldn't be a problem returning the nightstands. Ask me for my reasons. I told her. She said when they come to deliver the final item she says have the delivery guys take the nightstands. And so the delivery came the next week the delivery guys would not take the nightstands because they said they didn't have a ticket to pick up the nightstands.
So once again I called the store. No answer. Nobody to contact you. Get into a phone tree with them. I decided to put the nightstands in my car and drive them myself down to the store and Springfield Missouri. Which one I entered the store I saw the salesperson and our eyes met and she basically moved behind where she was at 'cause I was walking up to her and hit herself behind another salesman. I walked right up to her and addressed her and told her the circumstance. Saying to her, "Do you remember talking to me on the phone?" And she said no! So she says, "Let's go back to the back office."
The manager on the floor was not going to take these nightstands. And I got very upset and I explained the whole delay the furniture, the first cancellation, how I demanded that he do something with this. It's not my fault that I had to bring these nightstands down reluctantly. He took the night stands. I asked for a receipt and a receipt for the refund check that was supposed to be due to us now. They gave it to me. They told me it would probably take as long as the first refund which was about two weeks. Well it has now been 1 month and 4 days. I have not received the refund check for the night stands.
Once again I tried calling the store no calls back. I found a email address of the girl in the office and I sent an email thinking this possibly would get an attention from somebody. And in fact the operations manager of the store called me and told me that she cannot help me. Gave me she calls it a corporate number and said, "All checks are issued through an out-of-state corporate office. Here's the number." Well I called the corporate number and it's not a corporate number. It's a call center for Ashley. The representative I talk to you had no idea what I was talking about, could not transfer me to anybody and told me I had to go back and call the store because all refund checks are from the store.
So once again I called the store back and this time I got a hold of the girl that gave me the refund receipt to me. This time around I told her, "Can you understand how frustrated this can be for a customer? Nobody is willing to help me." She basically told me I'm at the mercy of this check and because I brought the nightstands in myself instead of their delivery guys bringing them in that is postponed And Delay the refund check a getting refunded to me and almost was accusing me or reacting like this was all my fault when in fact it had nothing to do with me. It was the fault of Ashley and them not taking the nightstands back.
I'm at the mercy of having to sit here and wait until they decide to send me a check. I am trying to reach out to anybody that is thinking about purchasing Furniture. I have heard this from others that they're not good at customer service or their deliveries or taking things back or refunds. Be warned. Be careful. Do your research before you decide to do any purchases with them.
