I ordered a Baystorm bed from Ashley online on December 10. On the site it said estimated delivery in 2 weeks. The confirmation email on 12/10/23 said I would receive an email for the scheduled delivery with a notice that some items may have longer than normal shipping. On December 12, I received an email that delivery was scheduled for January 8, 2024. A little disappointing but understandable. January 8 rolls around, no bed. I called January 9 and after being transferred to three different people, Mathis store says it will be February 2. Really not happy but stuck it out. February 2 rolls around and yet again no delivery. Again absolutely no emails or calls. I check the order online and now the order number doesn’t exist.

My husband calls on February 3, gets transferred several times and Mathis tells us they don’t know what happened but there is in fact a Baystorm bed in the warehouse and guarantee delivery Monday, February 6. February 6, bed finally arrives. We break down my son’s old bed. We unbox the headboard and carry it into the bedroom. Next we unbox the footboard which has drawers, and the bottom of the footboard is broken with two pieces lying on the bottom of the box. That’s it for me. We call customer service and the lady said “if this really happened” then they will resolve it. Our response was if?? We immediately demanded a refund and told her we would personally bring the bed to the closest store. She said that was not allowed and that it would be picked up in 24 to 48 hours.

We questioned that the bed would actually be picked up within that time, she said yes. Get an email today that it won’t be picked up until February 19. Great. I currently have 4 huge boxes repacked sitting in my living room. Nightmare experience. I have bought from Ashley several times before. Never again. Oh, and they won’t process my refund until 10 days after the bed is picked up. Horrid experience and even more horrid communication/customer service.

We are seniors, with 1 small dog (20 lbs), so the couches that we purchased were in no way overused. We bought 2 couches about 3yrs ago from Ashley Furniture in Langley, BC. We also bought a 5 yr extended warranty as suggested by the salesperson. We specifically asked if sinking of the seat cushions, rolling over of the cushion front and where the seat cushions meet, sinking of the attached back cushions, and sinking of the seat cushions were included in the extended warranty, and we were assured that all of our concerns were covered. All of our concerns started to happen approximately 1 yr after purchase! We contacted the company that the extended warranty was with, twice. On both occasions the representative was extremely rude, refused to give his name, and hung up on us. We then contacted the manager of the store where we had purchased the couches.

We were told that there was nothing that they could do for us. Even suggesting that we purchase new seat cushions from them, at our cost, or buy new foam and fix it ourselves. For the attached back cushions it was suggested that we purchase more filling and re-stuff them ourselves. We were also told during the phone conversation with the manager, that the store no longer dealt with the company that covered the extended warranty, and that the salesperson no longer worked with them. I would never recommend Ashley Furniture for any purchases unless you are prepared to buy new furniture every year or so!

Ashley. 0 stars if I could! Had issues with the comfort of new furniture compared to the store model and I also did not like the way the wedge fit in my home. I was told that Ashley would not do a return, store credit or exchange. I was actually told I was stuck with the purchase and there was nothing Ashley would do. I was told by store manager that she would call me within 24 hours to get my issue resolved, I never got a phone call and felt she just to me that to get me out of the store. I called customer service within 24 hours of delivery and explained my issues, again I was told someone will be calling me to process my claim/unsatisfactory issue. AGAIN NO-ONE CALLED OR SENT THE PROMISED EMAIL AS PROMISED.

I called customer service for 3 days then after 72 hours I was told nothing will be done and Ashely does not do returns/exchange or money back on customer unsatisfactory. I purchased the warranty and that didn’t help either. After spending $7K Ashley does not care about customer service the store, customer service will not help you at all. They say they are helping to resolve your unsatisfactory issue but in all reality they will do everything to get you off the phone and push you to someone else until your 72 hour window closes and then tell you that once you sign on the delivery you're stuck with the purchase no matter what.

Financing Department is a joke and a waste of time and really making Ashley Furniture look bad. Tried cancelling order for 23 days and it finally got resolved after I recorded conversation and saved all emails and chats and stated that the BBB will hear about it. Finally, everything is fixed and I thought I would try again. Now my advantage number no longer works. Imagine that. Real disappointment with the company and all departments.

I found a 40x60 canvas print on the Ashley Furniture website. The price was reasonable and it was noted that it would be delivered two days later. Great, I placed the order. The order confirmation looked so unprofessional and a lot like spam, so I was scared I got duped. After a good amount of research I just determined that it was in fact the real Ashley Furniture. This was the first red flag. Two days go by and I do not get a shipping confirmation or notification of delivery. Second red flag. I waited an additional 5 days and received zero communication from Ashley Furniture regarding my order. Third red flag.

I called customer service who promptly told me they had absolutely no idea when my order would ship. Until the product I ordered (that the website claimed was in stock and would deliver in two days) was received at their warehouse, they would be unable to give me a delivery timeframe. Fourth red flag. It has been three weeks and still no updates regarding my order that was supposedly in stock. It is clear that not only was that a complete lie, they are unprofessional in their business practices and I will never, ever buy again. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. For the price of their furniture, you have many other and better furniture store options.

Purchased a couch and loveseat with extended warranty from an extremely nice Saleswoman along with her Manager. Delivery was delayed a bit and was expected and understandable following the pandemic, all seemed will until 1 year 8 days after purchase, that the sofas left armrest support broke by just getting off the couch. Okay thinking no problem, I purchased the extended warranty. Called to be told that I did not purchase an Extended warranty, that she had the purchase order in front of her and order did not have Warranty. And now the battle in the attic to find purchase order.

Thinking everything is fine now, found the copy of purchase order with proof of warranty purchase. Called to start a claim and told the warranty covers fabric stains, tears mechanical issues, springs but does not cover a broken armrest.... What! So here I sit on my matching loveseat looking at my matching couch with a broken armrest, that I bought a little over a year ago, in utter disappointment with Ashley furniture. I expected better from Ashley!

My son and his wife paid about 2k cash for a leather sectional upon agreeing to purchase it from their Woodbridge store. The couch itself was about 1800 and 200 for the delivery. I was not present as they bought the sectional from the store. On the day of delivery, the delivery folks busted a ceiling fixture trying to bring the sectional to the second floor living room and decided that it would fit going in straight. My son and his wife kept suggesting to them that they should move the couch in vertically which would reduce the width of the sectional. The delivery folks with very limited English fluency kept refusing to do it the right way and eventually took upon themselves to take the sectional back accusing my son's family of refusing delivery. The whole event was a disaster to say the least.

The evening of failed delivery, we (my son, his wife and I) went back to the Woodbridge store where they had initially purchased the sectional and was promised a full refund including the 200 delivery charge. The salesperson kept apologizing for the delivery folks' mistake. We were told that he was given the ok to refund all the money including the delivery charge since Ashley Furniture has failed to fulfill their delivery obligation. I was given a receipt showing the refund of all charges and was told that a check would be in the mail in a few days. My kids did get the refund check via USPS mail a few days following the event. Except it was not for the full refund. Ashley furniture who failed to meet their obligation decide to keep the 200 for the delivery fee.

I was quite disgusted having to witness this deplorable dishonesty practice from Ashley Furniture. They lied through their teeth just to cheat consumers out of hard earned savings. My son has since given up working with their customer service department after many failed attempts to get them to rectify this mess. Of course they ended up cheating my kids out of 200. I would advice staying far away from this company if you are out shopping for furniture. I am not sure how they got many rave reviews on their website but those are fake reviews. But if you must patronize their business, do not pay with cash. Finally, I was offered a few times free delivery on all furniture just a few weeks prior to this whole event. So yeah they will steal to keep themselves in business. Stay away from Ashley Furniture.

Two of them reschedule by them because the piece was on backorder.

Last one (3rd time) I was not home at the moment and was not given an option to come back later that day or the next. It was only after that happened that I researched for reviews. So by reading the worst reviews from this company. I decided to save myself from getting an even worst experience and cancelled the order.

I am writing this review with immense disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience with Ashley Furniture Store. My husband and I purchased a complete bedroom set December 28th 2023, investing a significant amount of money, only to receive a shipment where every single piece was broken or damaged. They also claim they cannot come out and look at it until March 2024 so we are left sleeping with a broken bedroom set and bed for 3 months.

The lack of quality control and care in packaging was astonishing. It is utterly unacceptable that a reputed furniture store would send out such subpar products to paying customers. The items arrived in such a deplorable condition that it raises serious questions about the company's commitment to customer satisfaction and product integrity.

What compounds the issue further is the complete lack of assistance or willingness to rectify the situation. Despite numerous attempts to contact customer service, we have been met with indifference and unhelpful responses. It is disheartening to see a company prioritize sales over customer support, especially when dealing with such substantial purchases.

Ashley Furniture Store has left us with a broken bedroom set, a sense of regret for choosing them, and a significant dent in our budget. This experience has not only been financially burdensome but emotionally draining as well. I strongly advise potential customers to reconsider before making any purchases from Ashley Furniture Store. It is disconcerting to spend hard-earned money on a brand that fails to uphold even the most basic standards of quality and customer service. Our hope is that this review serves as a warning to others who may be contemplating buying from Ashley Furniture Store, and that the company takes immediate steps to address these issues.

In the past 2 years or so. My wife and I have shopped at Ashley twice. The first time we bought a sofa that has held up well. Although it's been in a house that has been empty for 8 months out of the 2 years. The other things we bought were another couch. 2 chairs, one and electric. Share for disabled people that helps me get out from a sitting position and is now broken and another chair that has stood up for the entire of time. Besides the lack of quality Of the furniture we have purchased the customer service has been abysmal. First let's speak about the quality of one of the sofas we bought pegood. I will be the first to admit that I did not do diligence sufficiently. When we bought it. When we got it home I sat down on the arm of the Sofa and felt a crinkle. Inspection revealed that it was made out of cardboard not soliD Cardboard, not even supported cardboard, but just rolled over cardboard with stapled.

We bought another sofa from using the store credit. We got from our return and what this brown sofa whose arms were sturdy. However, the legs were falling off when we received it delivered from the store. The driver said he would fix it. He did something to try to fix it, but the Bolts that were used to attach the legs were bent. The quality of workmanship of this was horrid. We called Ashley and it took three Weeks for them to come out and fix it again or them to get someone out to fix it again. This time, they broke the back legs instead of the front ones and we had to continue using blocks of 4 by 400 for another 2 and a 1/2 months. They finally returned with a person who actually knew what the problem was, and he took out all the old legs with bent bolts and put in new ones and this. Fixed that problem. It was interesting to find that the legs were made out of pressed wood. Not even real wood.

The next problem we had was with the electric easy chair for disabled people that lifts up and allows me, since I am disabled, to. Have an easier time standing up out of the chair. After A few months, the foot rest started to bend over to the left and continue to do so until it's now at a 30° angle. Made with cheap Chinese steel that is of 0 quality. We have called Ashley multiple times and they have yet to return our calls, nor have they sent anybody out. To fix the chair. Last day I'd like to speak to of customer service. There is no customer service. They are arrogant, rude, ignorant and unhelpful. At the very best. I will never, ever shop at Ashley again and it was mistake to make. .Just remember you get what you pay for.

On 03/20/2022 my wife and I purchased a 4-piece power recliner Sales Order# ** along with a $469.99 5 Year Protection Plan from the Ashley Home Store in Draper Utah. We noticed once it was delivered the right-hand side power section was way offset in the back and that side made a rubbing noise while you powered it up or down. We called the store, and they sent out a different installer who said it probably wasn't set up right and proceeded to try to push it down into an aligned position to match the left-hand side. There was still a sizable gap difference on the back, and it still made the rubbing noise, however it was slightly better.

It has never worked quietly as the left-hand side and now that side looks like the attachment bracket has broken and caused the back side nto fall down and leather to tear. The motor still operates but it's still noisy causing more damage to the back side. Please see my attached photos. We called the company that Ashley sold us the Service Contract through, and they sent out a technician. He said he can't do anything at this point and thinks it was either installed incorrectly and forced down into the bracket that attaches the sections causing it to fail or it was just defective from the beginning and should have been taken back to the store for replacement.

Hopefully we can get a new section delivered since I feel this section was never correctly installed and/or manufactured wrong from the day it was delivered. My wife and I are 65 years old and don't have children or dogs that would cause any extra abuse to that section. Since the other side has always looked and worked fine, I feel it is truly a defect in production.

I purchased two sofas, in April 2021, from Ashley Furniture (Johnstown, PA), towards the end of the COVID Pandemic. My furniture delivery date was August 28, 2021. This Ashley Home Store is owned by Wellsville Group, one of the shell companies owned by Todd Wanek, CEO of Ashley Furniture Industries. The Wellsville Group side of the contract was to deliver New, Good Quality Furniture with a One Year Manufacturer Warranty, and an Extended Warranty. I purchased the extended warranty to protect my furniture investment for years to come.

The Extended Warranty refused and blamed the Manufacturer. That is not what was sold to me! I was told at the time of purchase that I would be covered if anything happened to my furniture. I had one sofa Repaired, January 25, 2022. Decking under the seat falling apart, staples coming out and the right side (facing) collapsed. I Contacted Ashley headquarters, and they did cover repairs under 5 star service, Manufacturer warranty.

Then, December 2022 the Manufacturer Warranty refused to repair my Second Sofa. They only wanted to repair one, when BOTH sofas have the same issue. I called and noted the damage had reoccurred in the sofa they already repaired, so they did not properly fix it. The second sofa, exactly the same thing. This is poor quality manufacturing and inability to repair the damage. The signed contract is not one or the other. The contract covers both!! My husband and I ordered a new bed and nightstand online from Ashley. We opted to have everything delivered and set up all at one time. Doing so made the delivery fee go from $200 to $399. My husband received a text last week stating our bed would be delivered yesterday, 12/27 between 8:30-10:30 in the morning. Yesterday came and we woke up, got rid of our old bed, and prepared the room for the new bed. The delivery truck arrived with only our bed. Issue #1, but not such an issue that it bothered me. The gentleman putting the bed together asked to speak to my husband only to inform him the bed frame was up, the foundation was put together, but the bed was missing the slats (they were supposed to come in the box). He told him he had reached out to his manager already and for us to call the customer service line in an hour. So that's exactly what we did.

When we called, we were told the parts were ordered but it would take 3 weeks to get here. 3 WEEKS!! Mind you, we have gotten rid of our bed to make room for this one. 6 phone calls were placed to customer service with no resolution to the problem other than "wait 3 weeks". My husband is a disabled vet. He has recently had back surgery. He can't stoop, bend, or squat. He can't get down to the floor which is where we now have to sleep for the next 3 weeks. The company didn't try to make the situation right on their end at all. They also refuse to refund any of the delivery fee. They do not care about their customers at all. I would save my money and go somewhere else. I know as far as my husband and I are concerned, we will never buy anything from them. This entire situation will have him back in the hospital. Thanks Ashley!

They are not even willing to exchange the bedding for the same amount of price, I even offered to pay the difference, but they continued to say NO! Noise occurred again 2 months later (December) and now other seats are making the same noise. Company refuses to address issue or provide refund and required me to "take pictures of everything" as if a cosmetic issue could cause the mechanical issues. Taking pictures was an insult as if there is something I did nor damage caused that would be causing these issues.

We discovered that the frame was broken in the oversized ottoman on one of the sofas. I contacted the company we purchased they addition protection through they declined the claim because it was a structure issue that should be covered the the warranty from Ashley Furniture. In October, I contacted Ashley customer service process about the issue and they said someone would contact me with 48 hours to come look at the damage. Several weeks passed with no contact. I contacted them again and was told the claim was closed.

I reopened the claim and again was told within 24-28 hours I would be contacted. Again nothing. I tried to contact them through another channel via text. I was asked is we sat on the ottoman. I said, "It was a piece of furniture" and we told that voided the warranty. I've attempted to talk to people higher up the leadership at Ashley and each team has been denied. The customer service process at Ashley is broken. Their warranties are worthless, their follow-up is non existent. I've attempted to resolve this issue in a professional manner but their customer service process does not allow for that to take place.

I will never purchase anything from this store again and will encourage others not to purchase anything again. They ottoman was only about $500 of the $10,000 total. They would prefer to lose a customer for life who will influence others not to purchase from their store again as well rather than work to find a solution to their terrible product and even worse customer service system.

Oh so so wrong it was never explained to us that the sofa would be left in the reception area at our new condo. The delivery guys couldn't leave quick enough. Called customer care where I was told to cancel the order would be a 25% restocking plus $100 pick up charge - but the delivery fee was $79.95?? Why the difference?? At a total cost to us of $500 restocking..The guys who came to pick up the sofa bed tried hard to come up with a way to get it up to our second floor unit they were willing to carry it up the stairs but when they looked in the condo they said there was no way to get it into the room. They were horrified when they heard of our experience especially since we are seniors and my husband uses a walker.

They couldn't understand why we would be charged 25% restocking when the sofabed couldn't get into the condo. We had no alternative but to cancel. It wasn't as if we didn't want or not like it -it just couldn't get into the condo. After speaking to many people at customer care was told store policy is 25% restocking end of story. Did go into the store to speak with Arjun hoping some adjustment could be made to reduce the $500 charge-again the same story - - policy-25% restocking. He did say they could offer a 10% restocking if we bought something else-told him I never want to hear the name of Ashley Furniture again let alone buy from them. He let me walk out the store! Ashley Furniture is apparently two different companies: online and brick-and-mortar, though both sell the same furniture. This is a Dr. Jekyll and Mister Hyde pair of operations. I rate their customer service minus five for online and plus five for brick-and-mortar, on a scale of one to five. Moving into new for us house, I wanted to buy a bedroom set.

On November 16, I went on Wayfair and found the set I liked, and found that the identical set was listed under three different names while the pictures were identical, with three different prices. I noticed on one of the pictures the word Ashley, so I looked on https://www.ashleyfurniture.com/, finding the identical set for several percent less. I ordered the set I liked, but as the matching bedside tables were out of stock, I drove to their brick-and-mortar store a few miles away. There I bought two matching bedside tables and picked them up at a giant warehouse later that day.

The delivery of the set I ordered online was scheduled for December 14. When there was no delivery that day, I called the 800 number, where I was told that they had emailed me that the order had been canceled and were indignant that I was unaware of this, that they had emailed me on December 11. I went to my spam file and located that email, which I had not seen. I called their “customer service” line and told them to uncancel it and deliver the furniture, to be told that there was no record of the order. I supplied the order number, and they said it could not be uncanceled, that I would have to initiate an entirely new order, with a delivery window of two to three weeks. They were unhelpful, blaming me for not checking my spam file.

I asked for a supervisor whose native tongue was English and not Tagalog, and from the supervisor got the same result. So I drove to the physical store again and ordered the furniture. They promised delivery in six days. Their sales staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I should have gone there instead of ordering online. The online company (https://www.ashleyfurniture.com/) is a hot mess. Rating their customer service on a scale of one to five, I would rate them minus five. Poor staff, poor communications, intransigent people in customer service. The brick-and-mortar store in Clearwater was the exact opposite. They arranged delivery in six days and the sales rep there was pleasant and understanding. Rating their customer service on a scale of one to five, I would rate them five. I have bought Ashley furniture before, and was pleased, but the bungling clowns in their online company should be fired.

December 4, 2023 I called the service center as the core foam on the seats has already broken down. After 2 weeks of waiting to hear back I called again and this is what I learned: They will replace the core foam one time under the manufacturer's warranty, if the foam breaks down again the extended warranty kicks in and they will replace it again but no further replacements are allowed for the remaining life of the couch, extended warranty or not.

I questioned that if the seats break down every 6 months I would need at least 10 replacements in a five year period!! This is when Remmeet from Winnipeg Service Dept. explained that wouldn't happen because the replacement core foam under the extended warranty is higher density. I stated that if we have established the standard foam is of poor quality, that it breaks down after a short time surely they would replace it with better quality, no? Remmeet said she can replace for higher density foam under the extended warranty now but I will not be able to get any more replacements ever. This is unacceptable and until consumers start standing up for better quality products then we will consistently be provided the bare minimum.

First, we were lied to by telling us that the table was made by Ashley in the US. The table turned out to be made in India. The issue is that there's no need to lie to get a sale. Second, the manufacturing quality of the table is terrible. It's a nice-looking table but manufacturing quality control resulted in 7 tables, all damaged, being delivered to us with one not delivered as they caught the damage at the warehouse.

Third, Ashley in South Florida is City Furniture and the customer service quality was terrible with argumentative people who treated me as if I were a liar when their own delivery staff told them about the damage. I had to fight them to finally delivered a table that, while still damaged, I can at least work with by using decorative placemats to hide the almost 20-inch scuff and other small damages to the wood which the manufacturer applied finishing to. I guess the good old days are gone because I had once furnished my entire house with City's product but not anymore as am choosing to pay more for true US made product and companies that will do the right thing no matter the cost. To be fair, I did receive a deep discount at the end but it took me from September to December fighting with them.

SWINDLED, SCAMMED, FRAUDED, CHEATED and LIED TOO! I went to Ashley Furniture in 10/20/23 against my husband's advice, because he warned me they would "Screw me over". I went there to buy a SOFA, only a SOFA, to replace the Party time Sofa we once had, which was recalled and Ashley Furniture also refused to replace. Unfortunately on this day I was victimized by a true Snake of a Salesman Josh **.

I decided on the Backtrack Dual powered Sofa, he then offered me a great deal to also purchase the recliner. Mind you I didn't see the proverbial knife pointed at my back at that moment. We agreed on a price, he actually SHOOK my hand and smiled at me, with what I thought was genuine customer service, at that moment. Little didn't know this is where his ethics got thrown out the door. We went to the sales counter, he handed me the paperwork pointing to where I needed to sign his copies. To my neglect, I trusted him, mistake #1.

On 10/25 the order arrived at my house, when the delivery people began to unbox, I noticed it was a love seat, NOT the sofa. The delivery people said, "Oh no problem, just sign here that this has been delivered, then call this number and they will get it exchanged for you. 1-866-787-seven move three zero." Mistake #2. So I called the number and they stated the Store would have to correct it. I found my paperwork and saw that it said a LOVE SEAT not a Sofa. (KNIFE IN THE BACK ENTERED) I then called Josh immediately and ask why he had entered a loveseat, being that I NEVER was interested in a love seat, I had never looked at a loveseat nor did I inquire about a love seat. He then told me he would submit an email to get it corrected. Needless to say I never heard from him again.

After countless calls to the store, and speaking to the GM Solomon **, I was told, sorry all sales are final and there is no return policy, and that he had to support his salesmen. UNBELIEVABLE. What I have learned from this is JOSH **, consciously, knowingly, and willingly sold me a sofa and recliner, but intentionally entered a loveseat into the system knowing I wouldn't check his work because I had already thanked him for restoring my faith in Ashley furniture. MISTAKE #3. My advice to you is stay clear of this Ashley store and especially stay clear of the salesman Josh ** who’s actions proved he is unethical and fraudulent in his sales tactics. We are now stuck with an uncomfortable love seat that we never considered, nor wanted.

WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE. I wished I had checked out all the reviews here before deciding to give Ashley's a try. The show room is shiny. The salespeople are friendly. BUT all this is to hide a bait and switch, used car sales model. I purchased a couch. The one that arrived looked like the one I tried out in the showroom but it was higher. So much so that my feet were dangling - which they weren't with the showroom model. I went back and asked if I can pay for delivery and a restocking fee to recover some of my cost. Or for store credit. The sofa they delivered was not the same as the sofa they had in the showroom. The very nice sales person said they would get in trouble if they tried to help me. So I asked for the manager.

The manager came out ready to battle. No apologies for the problem. Straight out - no return or exchanges. No exception. Stone-faced enforcer. Unlike the sales pitch - there was no smile, no friendly chatter. They're done with you when you sign the contract and pay them. You don't matter anymore. Here's the real problem I have with Ashley's. Their company policy is ALL SALES ARE FINAL. BUT they never alerted me to this strict and atypical policy. The salesperson never mentioned it. You had to read two pages of tiny print to see it and it's buried in the middle of other less relevant issues.

The manager said they have signs everywhere in the store. I didn't notice them. I asked where they were. When she pointed them out, they were 8.5X11 printed sheets. In bold was "RETURN AND CANCELLATION POLICY" and in tiny font below they stated the no return policy. No one in the store pointed out the fine print to me - either in the contract or in the sign. They just want the sale and be done with you. I will never go back. I would never recommend Ashley's to anyone. It's not just their strict policy. It's the underhanded way they intentionally do not alert you to the ALL SALES ARE FINAL policy yet cover themselves but making a statement in fine print. If you were going to a fire sale, the signs are usually HUGE "ALL SALES ARE FINAL".

They intentionally do not want to alert the buyer to this policy. So that you buy and then they wash their hands off you. It's a shady - fly by night approach to doing business. Not worth it. You can buy similar furniture for same or better pricing on Wayfair or Amazon and you can return furniture you're not satisfied with. Wayfair and Amazon are at least transparent and care about their customers. Ashley is neither.

I bought 3 pictures in store. The manager gave special pricing as 1 of 3 paintings was a mismatch. 2 weeks later I hung the photos, though I thought initially they may be too big. Today, I noticed from an angle something was all over 2 of the 3 paintings. Upon further investigation, I found mould spores on the pictures, quite a lot. I spoke to the manager who insisted he could do nothing as it was special pricing and they are as is. He claims to know nothing about this and says nothing can be done. He tried to imply that because I told a rep from another purchase made last week that the pictures were too big and a return wasn't possible.

The pictures actually look great on the wall. What is not ok, is that Ashley Furniture sold these to me regardless if they were 'as is' in store. This is a health and safety issue, not only in my home, but also to the entire store and all merchandise that sits in it. The manager basically blew me off. I asked to speak to the owner, and only given a first name. I am not impressed.

As a loyal customer, I have made several major past purchases at Ashley Furniture prior to my last and final purchase of a bed and bedroom set on 10/09/23 at Ashley's on S. 27th St in Greenfield. My sales associate, ** was friendly and helpful. I bought a complete bed and bedroom set for $2637.61. I was told my furniture would be delivered on Monday 10/16. On Monday 10/16, the only items delivered was a mattress, box spring, and a Bed in a Bag combo. The rest of my order wasn't loaded on the truck for an unknown reason and would be delivered Friday 10/20. I texted ** of the issue and my frustration.

On Friday 10/20 when my bedroom furniture was being unloaded from the truck, I was told that some damage had occurred. I saw the headboard had been broken. I don't know it that was due to the cheap particle board material it was made from, or the carelessness of the third party delivery team. I was told by an Ashley's employee on the phone that I could accept the delivery and hopefully, Ashley's would find a replacement headboard. With bedroom furniture being clearance items, I did not accept the furniture and refused the order. I texted ** of the issue and my disappointment. Strike One.

On Saturday 10/21, I texted ** that I was very upset and wanted a refund. ** was apologetic and said she would forward my request for a refund to her manager, **. On Sunday 10/22, I received a phone call from store manager, **. I told her I was frustrated and disappointed with Ashley's delivery and quality of the broken furniture and requested a full refund of $2637.61. I told her that I liked the mattress and box spring and I would keep it for a discount. She offered me a $100 discount on a bed that cannot be resold. I declined the pitiful and less then generous offer. She told me unapologetically that I would be charged a $200 restocking fee. I told her she was crazy since there was nothing delivered to me that needed to be restocked. I also explained that if Ashley Furniture had delivered all my bedroom furniture undamaged on Monday, 10/16, as promised, there would not be this issue.

On Monday 10/23, I went to Ashley's. I spoke to ** in person and asked her how this issue was going to be resolved. She told me I would receive a full refund after Ashley's picked up the used mattress, used box spring, and used bedding on Friday 10/27. Store manager, ** made no apologies to me; no offer to me of keeping the used bedding; no offer to me of a store credit or store gift cards to compensate me for my stress and frustration. She had no interest in keeping me as a repeat, loyal customer. ** had zero interest in customer service / satisfaction. Her managerial behavior, in my opinion, was severely unprofessional. Strike Two.

On Friday 10/27, Ashley delivery picked up the used mattress, box spring and bedding. On Saturday 10/28 I texted ** that everything had been picked up. I asked her to speak to manager ** as to when I could expect the full refund of $2637.61. ** texted me within 5 business days. On Monday, 10/30, I received a partial refund to my credit card of $2468.86, which is $168.75 than I paid for this purchase. How and why ** came up with this different price is unknown to me. I texted ** about the missing $168.75. ** again told me it is in their system and I should see the refund by this Friday. So now, additional stress waiting for the $168.75. I never got a call from ** explaining the $168.75 difference. I am guessing she is too gutless and still doesn't care about customer service / satisfaction. After several texts to**. I finally got my $168.75 credit ... 2 weeks late. Strike Three.

I went to Steinhafels Furniture and bought a quality bedroom set. I will never shop at Ashley Furniture again thanks to store manager ** and her awful attitude about loyal, repeat customers. Bravo **!

I don't like feeling crowded while I am browsing. After I finished my selections - family room, bedroom and kitchen - His manager Kevin came over. I did have some things arise out of their control and they were patient and made sure I was happy and feeling GREAT with my purchase. I ended up adding a mattress to my order and went back and forth with both Eric and Kevin and they were very helpful. Definitely will be referring them business. 534 N Frederick Ave, Gaithersburg, MD20877 Ashley Furniture Store. I had purchased a Jaurao bedroom collection from them. On the delivery day their delivery team damaged my property by making such a big hole on my wall by dropping the chest which also broke one drawer of the chest. Then they damaged my dresser and the bed by drilling extra holes in it to assemble it which caused the nails to be out only. Then I received a damaged nightstand and a defective bed, as it has big gaps in the front and headboard sides in which my infant actually fell also. I called the store the same day informing them of all the issues but they said they can’t do anything and gave me their cooperate office number who asked me to email them all the issues with pictures and asked for 7 to 10 business days. So I actually informed them of all the issues within the 72 hour window.

In the meantime they denied my property damage claim and said, "We will not do anything." Then after 10 days when I contacted them regarding the damage/defective furniture they gave me their service department number who’s representative misbehaved with me when I told her that my son fell in the bed gaps and got hurt also. Then the service department said that "We will not do anything" and that we have to keep the furniture as it is. What bothers me is their “I don’t care” attitude towards my infant getting hurt. I have never witnessed such a behavior and was not expecting from such a big furniture store to have such a no care attitude towards my infant's safety.

I am really concerned about my infant's safety and writing in this forum to have a written proof that if by chance my infant gets hurt due to the nails that are coming out of the bed or if he falls in the bed gap then only Ashley Furniture store from where I bought the furniture will be responsible. I have all the call logs and emails conversations that I had with them within 72 hrs of delivery. I have to put pillows to cover the bed gap as it’s a manufacture defect.

Nov. 9th - Obviously great financing. We bought a $10,000 leather sectional and recliner 2 years ago and paid it off in 2 years. Paid for the protection plan. 3 of the 4 recliners switches don't work. Ashley says these switches are discontinued and I can't get them and replace them myself. The protection plan tells me since I don't know when they stopped working that it is past the 30 days required to report it and they won't do anything. 10,000 dollar set, garbage. Irrepairable. They don't make the same switch from 2 years ago or a replacement? Ashley won't fix it, warranty won't fix it, and I can't fix it if I wanted to. The bed we bought from them years ago fell apart too. I expected my 10,000 dollar living room set with a warranty to last more than 2 years. Absolute garbage.

Nov. 13th. Ashley Furniture responded to original review and agrees with me that maybe they should look into this a little further so I sent them all of my information to the e mail address they listed. Nothing. 4 days later and nothing. Must have been an automatic we care and we are sorry response. Protect All the warranty people have no record of my phone call with the supervisor from last week either. Re created that one. You'd think they wouldn't want to make you repeat this screw job over and over. My initial rating of 2 stars was too generous.

11-15 Groundhog day with the warranty like they never spoke to me everytime I talk to them. Here is Ashley's response, "I apologize for the delayed response. I have investigated the order and unfortunately, due to the items being discontinued I was unable to order the parts. You can reach out consumer affairs to see if we have -any items with the same switches. The parts will be at a cost. They can be reached at 1-800-757-0064. Again I’m sorry the delayed response and the inconvenience this has caused." A.K.A. your 2 year old leather set is now garbage. They sold us a warranty that could have never been fullfilled due to discontinued parts. They sold me a brand new leather set not even good for 2 years of light use. What a rip off from all directions.

One of the worst experiences I've had. The salesmen and everyone in store are great, but after we ordered it has been a nightmare. First off we chose Ashley furniture because we didn't want this headache. We spent near $10,000 and on a pair of couches, a sectional for the basement and 2 mattresses with bed frames. Fast forward 2 weeks and the couches, along with one mattress is being delivered. The other mattress ended up being on backorder which we were informed a few days before the delivery date. The 2 couches in the living room were easily delivered along with the full size mattress, then the sectional (which I measured the hallway several times before ordering and knew it would fit) comes and they get everything but the corner piece into the room. They were trying to fit it through with the curve against the wall, damaging the sheetrock several times, all they had to do was turn it around.

They tell me it needs to be taken apart and I talk to their supervisor about them bringing it back to the warehouse and having their team remove the back of it so it would fit. Fine, $180 charge, agreed they left. I go into the backyard and see the piece sitting out there with it going to rain that night. I call my brother. He drives an hour and took us about 3 minutes to get it into the room that it didn't fit. A few days later the bedframes arrive in boxes that looked like they were having a throwing competition with. What do you know, both bedframes are damaged and the one is missing a leg. A week later the final mattress arrives, great. They come rolled up vacuum sealed so I have them leave it in the living room while my new bedframe from RAYMOUR AND FLANIGAN is being setup. A few hours later we move the mattress up and open it, SURPRISE, it's the cheapest $800 mattress that they sell.

We spent over $2000 on the mattress we ordered, now we have the replacement mattress being shipped after waiting another 3 weeks. I called to ask about the cheap mattress that is here and told them that I wanted a supervisor here when they remove it because now the house it fully furnished and they will be bringing it past 2 TVs, and the lady at the warehouse got an attitude with me about how their movers are professional, and it won't be a problem. In the next sentence she asked me if I had rope to tie the mattress in half for them. I'm sure this will go great tomorrow. Conclusion, Ashley Furniture is not a great company anymore and I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Our experience at Ashley's was horrible. My mother is blind. She went to Ashley's to buy bunk beds for my children, her grandchildren, for her home. She specifically told the saleswoman, Patricia, that she wanted a bed where the ladder wasn't blocked by the top bunk railing. They completed the transaction, and scheduled delivery and assembly. Once assembly was complete, my mom discovered that the ladder was blocked by the railing, making it unsafe for small children due to having to climb over the railing. Patricia ordered the wrong bed.

My mother called the Oxnard CA store and spoke with the manager Abraham who basically blamed my BLIND mother for leaving the store with the receipt that listed the wrong bed, because she should have caught the error. He also informed her that the sale is final. He didn't even take into account that because she's blind, she can't see the receipt, and has to trust the salesperson to do their job.

My mother then called the corporate office and was passed around, no names were given. The line auto disconnected after 23 minutes of trying to get to the right person to help. To add insult to injury, Patricia charged my mother a $149.99 for 5 year furniture warranty, which my mother never wanted, wasn't asked if she wanted and she never approved. Patrica took it upon herself to add this unnecessary, expensive warranty all on her own to my mother's order. My elderly, blind mother was taken advantage by this saleswoman, and the store/company.

I had a great experience with the store in Torrance, so I referred my mother to Ashley's. I feel very guilty that I recommended somewhere that has caused so much trouble and anxiety for her. I will never recommend this company again, and shame on them for their atrocious customer "care". As it stands, we are stuck with an unsafe bed that can't be used, that we were overcharged for.

I have recently made two purchases from Ashley On-Line each over $1,000. I received a damaged side rail for the bed I ordered and wanted it replaced as I felt the damage was excessive since a chunk of wood was missing out of the bottom and paint had been scraped off on the top. I spent almost two hours total with a rep named Joanna and another one named Megha. It was a horrible experience for something that should have taken 15 minutes to resolve, taking approximately two hours, and never was resolved to my satisfaction. These orders were my third and fourth purchases from Ashley over several years and I will not be buying from them again.

I have never been so frustrated telling someone over and over and over that, I wanted something replaced that I ended up throwing in the towel because of frustration with the responses AND TOOK A DISCOUNT WHICH ALSO VOIDED THE WARRANTY ON THE FURNITURE for something I just wanted replaced. I was informed that they would send me a new bed after they had received a receipt of my donation to charity for the bed I had. Where was I to sleep between all this? They basically forced me to accept a worthless discount and warranty void.

Title: Terrible Experience with Ashley Store in Avon City, MA. I must say that my experience with Ashley store in Avon City, Massachusetts has been nothing short of a nightmare. Two months ago, I made a significant purchase from this store, which included a couch and a coffee table that I was really looking forward to having in my home. However, the excitement quickly turned to disappointment. The couch that was delivered to me was not just damaged; it was ripped, and the quality of the item was abysmal. It's beyond me how Ashley store could allow such a shoddy product to leave their warehouse in the first place. But, it gets worse – trying to rectify the situation has been an absolute ordeal.

I've been trying to communicate with their customer service in this store as well as with the store manager for two months now, and I've made countless calls and sent numerous emails. Yet, the response from Ashley has been utterly inadequate. It's as if they don't care about their customers or the quality of their products. Their lack of urgency and responsibility is infuriating. I understand that issues can arise from time to time, but the complete lack of effort on their part to rectify this situation is inexcusable. I paid hard-earned money for a product that was supposed to enhance my living space, and all I have to show for it is a ripped couch and endless frustration. In addition, they sent me a wrong coffee table, similarly no action so far has been taken to replace it.

My advice to anyone considering shopping at Ashley store in Avon City, MA is to think twice. If something goes wrong with your purchase, don't expect any help or resolution from their customer service. This has been a disheartening and infuriating experience, and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. I hope this review serves as a warning for others and that Ashley takes a long, hard look at their customer service and quality control processes. They need to do better, much better.

I took the day off to be here for the furniture. It was never delivered. Nobody seems to know when it might be, I was told it was back ordered, Ashley Furniture has clearly gone downhill especially with customer service. Just look at the customer ratings. I wish I had before I ordered from here. Now I paid for a table and have no idea when I might get it. Company is coming in a couple of days and now I have to figure out how to serve them. This is ridiculous. Wayfair, Macy’s, Penny‘s, Amazon- I’ve ordered furniture from all of these places and they were delivered when I was told they were going to be. Do yourself a favor - there are many furniture stores out there. Don’t deal with this one. I have learned my lesson with Ashley Furniture.

4 years ago we bought a 6 piece dining table set with a 5 year warranty. It was the most expensive set in the whole store at the time and has done nothing but disappoint. While reading this please keep in mind that this table is not an everyday use piece of furniture. We use it about once a month on special occasions. I will admit it does look appealing but that does not cover for the fact that in the first few days we have already had to contact the store about the chairs and the result of that was us having to get things to fix it with our own money. Not long after that the polishing on the table has started to completely come off. The lamination on the sides and on the bottom started separating.

In the middle the table is able to be extended, but the mechanism in it has broken after our second time extending it. All the chairs except one sink is way too much and are very squeaky. 4 weeks ago I have contacted customer support and ever since have just been fighting about every issue I just listed. I do not understand why I have to keep fighting with Ashley about things I do have a warranty for. I want people to read this and take in mind everything I just said. I will NEVER recommend Ashley to anyone I know. We have way better furniture from cheaper and way higher quality places with.

My spouse and I made a large purchase in ASHLEY FURNITURE Martin Luther King Blvd in Las Vegas NV, today for a move into a new home at the end of the month not before the 23rd in October. Today is the 14th of October. We completed our purchase, and assured that the entertainment center we purchased was available in the warehouse behind the store on Martin L King Blvd in Las Vegas. As we were preparing to leave the store we were approached by the salesperson apologizing because she found out that one of the items is a direct ship coming to our new home which does not close until the 23rd of October. Were told that the shipment would arrive at our new unoccupied resident between the 18th and the end of the month. Since no one lives in the house this was unacceptable. We were told the item would be delivered from the warehouse behind the store and be set up.

I attempted to find out if we could change the dates. I was told this could not happen as it was coming from their direct ship warehouse. I could not even get their name to try and get the item rescheduled and stopped. I then requested the Manager to discuss the matter, she stated that due to it being a direct ship they could not cancel the shipment, and due to company policy could not cancel or refund the the credit card transaction. Their only suggestion was to get me the etracking number for the delivery to an empty house not closed on yet.

When I mentioned this was unacceptable I mentioned to the manager Sabrina I would cancel the credit card transaction and was threatened with being sent to Collections. I consider this fraudulent activity on the part of a manager in the Ashley furniture company. This store caused the problem by supplying the customer misleading information causing us quite a bit of stress since some of items will be delivered from their location when in fact they get shipped from their warehouse in Redland. She was unable to provide any phone numbers.

The same day it was delivered I called and advised them of damages and provided photos, it took me calling more than 6 times to get assistance and ask when would they come and get the furniture as I did not purchase used/damaged items. Finally they agreed to pick up only to be told the $213.99 delivery fee was not going to be refunded, at no time during delivery did they say if it is damaged they would take it away so no option was given. Ashley Furniture does not stand behind their quality and they do not care about the consumer. I am out $213.99 for damaged furniture that was delivered. I consider this unacceptable as a consumer.

I had wonderful experience spending my money. The two sales people were great. One had more experience is decorating, the other was just a nice person. However, I purchased a console from the Sarasota store and the poor lighting changed the color of the actual piece of furniture. It was delivered on time and in great shape. Unfortunately I had to move in quickly in my home, then have surgery. After I came home from the hospital I did not look at the console. After my daughter left, I took a great look at it. In the store it looked "brownish" which is the color of my furniture. In my home it was "grey." I am not a grey furniture person. It looks horrible in my home. It has not been used. The tag is still on and I was told from one of the salesmen they do not take back furniture. I paid about $900.00 including delivery and tax. I've never heard of a store not taking back unused merchandise.

I called customer care and told them what happened. They never got back to me until I called again. They want photos of the damage. It is not damaged. It is the wrong color. I asked for a "credit" so I could purchase one that looked better in my new home. No response. I had to order a new one from another company. I am now out $900.00. I will sell it on marketplace for $300.00 just to get it out of my home. I had planned on spending another $2,000 at the store. I will never shop there again. There are some companies that are great in taking your money but when there is a concern, the answer is "no."

My dad owned a furniture store. My husband owned an antique furniture store. I am a real estate broker and a certified interior decorator. I do not accept shabby customer service. They said on the back of the receipt no refund. You do not get the receipt until you purchase an item and, again, I was going into the hospital. There are exceptions to every rule. I guess they just don't care.

I wish I could give Ashley Furniture a zero star rating because that's all they deserve. Since the first time I went into their store in Vaughan, they were trying to overcharge me. I had to show them pictures on their website to prove I was telling the truth about the sale price which they kept insisting was the American website. Finally the manager came and corrected them. Then I was there for about half an hour because their calculations kept coming out wrong by around 400 dollars above the actual price. Just when I thought the nightmare was over they delivered my two nightstands. One in its original packaging and the other in a completely different box that the nightstand could not even fit in properly. Once I opened the boxes the one that was in its original package was in good shape the other one looked used like a floor model.

I felt that Ashley's would solve this problem by exchanging the damaged one but instead Rahi their customer service rep told me that I can't exchange and that I would have to allow someone to come over and repair it. I of course did not agree to losing a day off work and repairing something that I paid full price for. To make a long story short I have received no help and am forced to keep a used damaged product that I paid full price for. Please do not shop here. Go anywhere else, worst shopping experience ever.

The worst purchasing experience I ever had was at this store! I bought a chair on 8/21/2023 from the Alpharetta store in GA, which was overpriced to start with, but I liked it, and it was comfortable enough. I was promised it would be delivered on 9/7, which I thought was too long a time. Added to that was the fact that they were charging me almost 100 dollars for delivery! That should have warned me off, but sadly, it didn't! No self-respecting store ever charges for delivery, certainly not for purchases over 50 dollars!

A message was sent to me on 9/4 telling me that the chair would be delivered on 9/7 between 3:00-7:00 pm. I waited for it to arrive, and was tracking it the whole time. At 6:45 pm, I called the driver since I felt the chair was really running too late, and he informed me that I was not getting my chair that day because it wasn't at the warehouse! When I asked him why no one informed me, he said that someone at the store wasn't doing his job. I called the store, and they had no knowledge of any of this. The man who I talked to said he would get back to me, and the next day, he said that my chair was damaged, and it was the driver's fault for not letting them know (two different stories).

I was very upset, and asked him how I could be compensated for my wasted time, and for the fact that I was planning a gathering at my house based on the fact that I thought my living room would be ready by 9/7. He said that they could offer me 50% off the delivery cost, which I thought was definitely not enough, and I told him so. He asked "corporate" and supposedly was told that this was the best they could do. I am extremely upset about this very poor customer service. I have never had such a horrible experience when purchasing anything, and I have lived in many different places around the world. I will definitely make sure that no one I know ever makes my mistake and purchases anything at this furniture store that has absolutely no respect for its customers.

I've been trying to work w/ Ashley's Customer Care in regards to my white leather sofa & recliner for far too long now. I purchased the set in 2022. The problem started within the 1st mo. or so. Here we are in 2023 & still unresolved. I have 2 sections that immediately were color stained within the mo. or so, by normal usage (people just sitting on the sofa or recliner). Pretty sure the sofa & recliner had not been pretreated before leaving the warehouse. Quality leather shouldn't stain from clothing like that. I've owned a light buttercream leather sofa for 5 years that I purchased from Jordan's furniture in the past & it never absorbed the colors of clothes.

I've asked Ashley's several times to help resolve this matter because it's covered by warranty, all I continue to receive is the runaround. Every time I call, they say someone has called & left a message. Not true. I've only received 1 email & 1 voicemail from Ashley's & that was in the very beginning of this ordeal. They requested pictures. In response to their request, I had sent 2 emails with pictures, & a follow up phone call. Nothing came about. I called over & over & kept getting the same response which was that someone will get back to me.

On 1-24-23, I had to forward that same email w/pics to Ashley's again because they couldn't find the 1st email (both emails sent to emailus@ashleycustomercare.com & GuestServices2@ashleyhs.com). I did receive confirmation from an Ashley Customer Care rep that the email was received. Still no resolution. FYI- all I did was forward original email to same email address it was originally sent it to, all while I was on the phone w/ the rep. Funny how they can see emails when you stay on the phone w/ them to confirm that they receive it.

This is embarrassing. I won't let anyone sit on the middle or left section of the sofa worried if someone sits on that side of the sofa with any colored clothing, the sofa will absorb the colors. No one should have to worry so much about what guests are wearing while they sit on your furniture. Ashley's - Salem, NH had the same white sofa on display for a while. I didn't see it color stained & I'm sure plenty of people have sat on it. I was one of them.

3-4 mo. ago Ashley's finally sent out a 3rd party co. to supposedly resolve the matter. Guy shows up at 8pm (when he was supposed to arrive no later than 6), saying he was told to come clean it. He didn't even clean it. He only came in with a cellphone. No cleaning products of any kind. He took pictures & said he will report back to Ashley's within 10 days. Since the pointless visit, I called Ashley's a couple of times & was told that they still haven't heard from the 3rd party co. All they did was continue to give me fake apologies & lies about how they're going to have someone call me back to resolve. Nothing was been done. Before anyone says "Maybe she's not a clean person", my entire living room is mainly white with black, gold, & grey details. I keep it sharp looking.

Called again today (8/4/23), was told they called and left a vm back on July 11. Which is a lie. I did not receive a voicemail from Ashley's that day. I check my vm daily. Ashley's tends to be the only co./people that claim to leave me a voicemail & somehow I never receive one. I have no problem receiving voicemails, or any other msgs from anyone else. I kept asking what number they're calling. Reps don't answer me when I ask. They carry on w/ the "I'm sorry".

BTW, they just informed me that there is nothing they can do. They're claiming it is heat damage based on that unprofessional useless visit from their 3rd party contractor. I have central AC/Heat. I keep the temp in my place between 68-72 degrees all year round. Make that make sense. It was never a heat damage issue. It is an Ashley QC issue. Anything not to hold themselves accountable. Ashley's Furniture is a scam artist furniture co..

The furniture I ordered online from Ashley Furniture Sunday, August 27, 2023, has become a nightmare. Attached is the order confirmation that Ashley emailed me. As you can see, originally I did not want to pay for delivery or assembly. But, once I ordered a 5 year Furniture Protection Plan, a box appears that says “No Hassle Delivery. Assembly included FREE”.

When talking to any of the agents representing Ashley, the “No Hassle Delivery. Assembly included FREE”, will not be honored. Why I asked. "Because you did not pay for free delivery or assembly." So we have gone around and around about my attachment saying it’s free. Mary J. (representative of Ashley), says she doesn’t see what I’m talking about. Dennis ** (another representative of Ashley), says, “I see what you are talking about. It must be a glitch, and I will have it removed." Coralee D. (another representative of Ashley), says I need to cancel the order and reorder if I want delivery and assembly for a fee.

My question is, “Why do I need to purchase the delivery and assembly when it says on my confirmation it’s included in my Furniture Protection Plan? So..the last Ashley representative I tried talking to was Veronica **. I’ll admit besides Dennis **, she started out as the second nicest representative I have spoken to. Once we got into my complaint, she says almost the identical thing that they all said. They cannot change what the order says. So my retort is, “ok, then you must honor what you sent to me… no fee for delivery and assembly (assembly by the way would consist of screwing 4 legs on the queen sofa and 4 legs on the love seat). Veronica says no… What they sent me originally was not the order confirmation. I asked, then why did they send it. She has no idea. No one does.

My last argument was… if I go to Kohl’s Department store and they have $39.99 on a blanket and I go to checkout and the price rings up $69.99, why do they agree to allow the purchase at the price that is marked on the item???? Veronica said, “that’s different”. Okay Ashley Furniture, you are now SCUM TO ME. Sadly, the ending to my story is... Ashely Furniture will not honor the attached order confirmation they sent me. A lot of my monies have gone to Ashley Furniture, but NOT ANY LONGER. I’m asking all of my friends to be careful if you must order anything from this establishment make sure they don’t treat you as they did me. You might do better off at another furniture store.

We went into the show room and met a great salesperson in Flowood Ms. We selected what we wanted and scheduled delivery for three weeks later. When the delivery drivers showed up, they had one piece of a three-piece set. We were never notified that we would not get the whole set. We noticed it was damaged about 20 minutes after the drivers left. When we called our salesperson, he apologized and tried to help but the company wanted to do a service ticket on a brand-new piece and schedule the rest to be delivered in two more weeks. We ended up cancelling the remaining order, but they still charged 450.00-dollar delivery fee and would not take back the broken furniture. We are shopping at another company for furniture that will meet our needs. It is sad that we cannot do business with a company and not get screwed over. I would highly advise to be very careful when doing business with Ashley Furniture. We would not recommend at all.

Do the research by checking their online reviews. I didn't do this and fully regret it because they forced a charge through on my credit card for $1,400 on merchandise I didn't purchase nor received. My credit card company verified and confirmed my documents for a refund because they couldn't confirm their records with photograph delivery. I refused to accept a table they unpackaged in my driveway as not my order. I purchased 2 dining room tables for $1,700 with next day delivery. They showed a week later with a table that I did not purchase at all. I was on the phone with the representative and said I was going to dispute the transaction. Crew loaded up the truck and left. I went to work.

My credit card company asked for documents they could not provide and confirmed a reverse chargeback. However, in the fine print of Ashley Furniture they somehow can force the merchant to not refund and this is excately what has been done. I'm out of funds for a purchase not made and merchandise not received with my credit card company not able to assist. My only recourse is to sue them I guess; well, you know how that goes. Well, I can write and continue to write my experience and reviews future forward warning any potential purchasers to avoid walking into their stores and take out ads expressing my experience as once I did see all the negative reviews about their guise of practices and forcing customers to accept without recourse...Well, hopefully the online campaigns will result in store closures.

We purchased a sofa. The first one was delivered heavily damaged. We sent it back. The second one came with paint splashes on it, but Ashley and the delivery company requested that we keep the sofa in the home to see if they could fix it - with the option of requesting a replacement if we decided later to do so (if we changed our mind). After not being pleased with what we heard from customer service about the repair process, we requested a replacement. They went against their word and is now giving us run-around. Now we have to wait for someone to come into the home, take the sofa apart, reupholster the portion with the paint on it. So, we are going to get a sofa that has been taken apart and pieced back together - all with a different fabric run. And Ashley will not tell me if they will replace it them if we are not happy with the results.

Again, I keep getting the runaround. I should not have taken them at their word and should have sent this one back too. Lessons learned: don't ever buy from Ashley; you cannot trust them; they are not customer focused; they are too caught up in "policy" to do what is right for the customer; local store managers and regional mangers have no power over what happens when you walk out of the store.

I spent so many hours in calls, follow-ups, taking pictures and videos to be sent to customer care. Finally disputed the transactions after no concrete results. Will never deal with Ashley's furniture again.

    1. Returned a sofa on the date of delivery, which was taken back by the delivery guys on the same day. It's been 4 months and the amount has not been refunded yet. Raised a claim.

    2. Sectional and another sofa is of very poor quality. They get loose very often and comes apart. Sometimes in front of guests which is very embarrassing. Called the technician multiple times and they fix it every time. However it's not sustainable and one cannot call the technician every 2 weeks practically. The wood and cloth are of very cheap quality

I ordered a jewelry armoire for my daughter. The color was named “Taupe Mist” and it looked sort of antiqued with an off-white-tarnish color. The color that arrived was a hideous greenish yellow. My daughter hated it and so did I. I called to return it and was totally willing to pay return shipping. However, Ashley required that I arrange for the pick up and that I produce my own label. The first shipper I contacted wouldn’t pick up the item because it weighed 72 lbs in the box. The second shipper would charge $234. The third shipper would charge $200. I contacted Ashley 6 times (3 via phone, 3 via text) to request that Ashley send me a label so that I could return ship using their negotiated rates.

I was willing to have the shipping deducted from my return, or even to pay for shipping up front. The chat customer service reps all had Indian names so I assume they were located in India — they were lovely but could provide no help. The phone customer service reps were also friendly but could provide no help. Everyone told me to email to the 3rd party shipping email address (essentially Ashley’s back room office for customer service) to request a label. I emailed 3 times and did not receive a single response.

I note that all 6 customer reps that I spoke or chat with also put in the same request. The back room office did not respond to any of my emails. This went on for 3 weeks until finally I paid $200 to ship a $400 back to them before Ashley would refuse to accept the item at all. Beware of doing business with this online company. This business really has no customer service. It would have cost Ashley nothing to treat me decently. But they couldn’t even be bothered to respond to multiple requests. March 2023 we bought a reclining love seat from Ashley's located at 333 Matheson Blvd W, Mississauga, ON L5R 3G3. When the delivery people came to deliver our furniture, They dropped the love seat on the front right corner. This resulted in a bent frame and torn material on the kick out when he tried to grab and hold on to it. I informed the driver I did not want the sofa now and wanted it returned. As I went to call the store to tell them, the delivery guys told my wife they had to leave and someone would call leaving this broke piece of junk in my living room. Ashley sent out a tech to change the ripped pad and he left.

Once again I had to call telling them it was still not fixed as it was all loose and clunking when you sit in the seat. Once more they sent another tech that tore the back a park to adjust it and after he left we had a gap between the console and right side back you could see the window through and the outer side of the bake was loose and wouldn't lock in. Every call ends in text us pictures in detail and fill out the form. The third time they sent a fellow to change the frame for the one seat only rather than replace the sofa as I continued to request. Their excuse was we have to send a tech every time rather than solving the problem or satisfying the customer.

After the third tech we now have a 1 1/2 inch gaping opening on the side they continued to make worse and can now look out our window through the back of the sofa. One again I had to call, Once again was told text us pictures. This time almost 5 weeks passed waiting to hear from them and what they were going to do to fix this, but no call. When I called them I was told a supervisor would be calling me. Finally a fellow by the name of Jason called telling me he was from head office and as far as they were concerned it meets manufacture spec and they were not willing to repair it or do anything for me, so it was now my product, use it and live with it.

After spending good money and having them damage the produce I now have to live with a piece of junk that looks like I bought it from the thrift shop. This company does not honour its obligation to the customer and will leave you with damage goods. I had to shim the bent frame myself to help close the gap they created and left me with. I now have subpar product sitting in my living room that I will end up replace and wasting more money. The replacement will NOT be purchased with Ashley. Buy Be Ware!!!

Delivery dates are completely arbitrary. Customer service is TERRIBLE! Still have not received my order. Will never order from Ashley Furniture again. I placed an order for a bedroom set and chose a delivery date. The confirmation email stated that my delivery was successfully scheduled. However, I did not receive any shipping or tracking information regarding my delivery and it did not arrive on the scheduled date. I spoke with Sapna, who initially told me that I had already received my order the week before. Wrong! That was only part of my order. Why do I have to explain this to customer service? Then Sapna assured me that it would be delivered in 2 days. Once again, no shipping or tracking info and no delivery. I contacted customer service again and Asgar told me that he doesn’t even have access to my order delivery information, which is interesting because how did Sapna know my delivery would supposedly be delivered in 2 days?

Asgar transferred me to Martia, who told me that the ESTIMATED shipping date is one week from now, which means that it may or may not be delivered until even later because that is only an estimated date! When I asked for tracking information because this is the 3rd rep I’ve had to explain the situation to, she promptly transferred me to yet another rep. Chris then tells me that the items are back ordered and are projected to arrive in the warehouse in a week. This means that the furniture was not even in stock when I purchased it and I did not receive any notification of unavailability or back order until I spoke with 4 customer service reps! It is worth noting that Chris had a terrible attitude. I was subsequently transferred to Ganesh (5th rep I’m speaking with) and he informed me that he cannot help with anything so he is transferring me back to Martia! Aaahh!!!

To sum up, we will not be ordering from Ashley Furniture again. There is no guarantee that what you purchase is even in stock or that it will arrive on your selected delivery date. Customer service is unable to provide accurate information regarding your delivery. You will not be informed of any delays or back orders in shipping, so your only option is to wait and wait and wait… Who knows when I will actually get my furniture that my husband and I took off work to receive and assemble? We were told they would be available for pickup in Dayton in 10 days. We wanted to bring home the 2 they had and just wait on the other 2, but were told no. We agreed to wait. After 15 days of silence from them, we were finally able to get through to "customer service." It involved multiple calls and long waits/being disconnected. We were told that they would not be getting the stools until sometime in September... So at least 10 WEEKS after we purchased. We cancelled the order that day. We waited an additional 5 days for the charge to be refunded on our credit card. Nothing. So, we initiated a credit card dispute on day 6 after cancelling.

We cancelled 20 days ago, and initiated the dispute 14 days ago and they finally issued the credit today. It took them less than 24 hours to charge our card; nearly 3 weeks to issue a refund on an order they could not complete. That's too bad. Their salesman seemed like a good person. He was helpful and not pushy. He promised a delivery date based on what he was told from the warehouse. The warehouse? Not helpful at all. They sent a representative out to look at my sofa that I keep covered with blankets, I do have a dog which is a Jack Russell Chihuahua mix and the dog is only allowed out while we are home. When we leave the house the dog is crated. The person that came out to look at the sofa ask if I had a dog and of course I said yes, because I do. I have the exact same sofa that I had purchased seven years ago that held up wonderfully. I actually gave that sofa to my brother and he still has it - it’s just a little worn due to being eight years old. However, I purchase a new one the last less than eight months, I am very disappointed. The middle cushion has the zipper that busted out due to being overfilled with stuffing.

The representative from Ashley furniture said that it was from the dog, and he reported that the dog actually chewed on the sofa which is totally incorrect. There are no chew marks in the sofa. The dog has never chewed on the sofa. I have never been more disappointed in my life with a furniture company. Please please do yourself a favor do not purchase anything from this company. There are many other furniture stores out there that you can purchase quality furniture from and it appears that it’s not Ashley. They sent one person to look at the sofa who did nothing to resolve the issue. He also gave a incorrect diagnoses or what happened to the sofa.

Nothing happened to the sofa. It was a poor design in the middle cushion was over stuffed and busted out the zipper. I thought Ashley furniture was a decent company to buy from. That’s why I bought from them. I must be honest. I’ve never done a review before but I’m so dissatisfied. I thought it was necessary to give other possible customers a heads up. We purchased the mattress, and it arrived last Wednesday, only it was not ultra-plush, it was a soft. We went into the store the next day to ask to exchange it for the mattress we asked for. Sealy has a 90-day trial period. We were told they would need to contact their warehouse to perform the exchange.

On Friday, Bob called us to tell us we got the mattress he ordered. Bob admitted to me on the phone that he ordered a soft and not an ultra-plush, and that he would need to contact a different manager for the exchange, and he would be returning my call on Monday. He never returned our call. I called today, Wednesday, to find out they will not be honoring an exchange and that the sale was final. They decided to throw away a repeat customer, someone who has spent over $8k in the last two years and would be spending with them again in the future.

Instead, they would not honor the mattress's trial policy and of course lost any future business from us, but I also want to protect you. If you are in the market for mattresses, try them out at a better store. If this store carries the brand you want, try it out there, then purchase online directly through the brand as they will honor their trial periods, where this Ashley store will not.

They sent me a set of broken tables and then charged me a 25% restocking fee. If I wanted another set of broken tables they would only have charged me 10% and given me a credit. ** company, ** customer service. Will never buy from them again.

As a first time customer, I needed to get a brand-new, firm mattress as my other mattress was no good after 4 years. What struck me about this place was their "10-year limited warranty" which was advertised on the product that I purchased, as well as under their "Warranty" section of their website. I always double-check everything before making a purchase, especially on something I'm spending a lot of money on. I received the product shortly after, and just took it out of the box a week later.

Although the mattress is beautiful and clean, I'm not sure how it's going to be after I start using it. But, I was happy with the 10-year warranty, because after my last 4-year old mattress started caving, I thought this would be a good time frame to know if it's going to work out for me or not. As I went to register my product, I was told that it only had a 1-year limited warranty, and I was beyond irate. I told them they are falsely adverting to scam and manipulate people. I asked why it said what it said if it wasn't the case, and all they could do was avoid the question and go around it, but never actually answering me. It's all manipulation to get people to buy things that they don't stand behind.

I refuse to be conned by anyone, and won't let them get away with this. I've told them I was going to report them. I asked why it told me one thing if it was the opposite and they still couldn't answer me. Faulty business they're running and I would be happy to see them shut down! I spent over $500, and they told me I could extend my 1-year for more money! Absolutely not! Especially when it should've been 10 years to begin with! Absolutely disgusted and will NEVER ever order or be taken advantage of from this company again! I don't have $500 to dish out every few years because something might break down, all because they told me otherwise, that's ridiculous and they shouldn't even be in business. Wish I did more research about this company before purchasing from them...they need to have their website taken down, or their correct policies need to be addressed!!! Point. Blank. Period.

I hadn't had new furniture since the 90's, so my 3 children got their money together and spent $3,000 on a sofa and loveseat, on June 6, 2023. Once the furniture was in my home, it was obvious that the couch cushions were a different color than the couch, so I complained. Granted, I did receive replacement cushions. As the months rolled by, I was having more difficulty getting out of the couch. I was literally getting swallowed with the sinking cushions. Not to hurt my children's feelings, I bought those boards to strengthen the cushions. In total, I spent over $200 but nothing seemed to work. I was getting backaches.

Finally fessed up to the kids. I went into Ashley Furniture in Eatontown on July 2nd and a very nice man (Rufus?) took my information, and told me they would contact me right away. I waited a week. I went back into the store. Rufus seemed embarrassed, went to page where he originally contacted home office, and their response was "Customer was contacted". I was not contacted. Giving them the benefit of doubt that they might have dialed wrong, I gave Rufus my cell phone number. I have yet to hear back and it's the 23rd. Granted, I am over the year, but, had they contacted me, apologized or whatever, perhaps I would have attempted to "try again". The fact was they already had payment, they didn't need to "make nice" anymore. I had to contact a company that picks up junk and visited a more reputable company to order more furniture. Save yourselves the frustration and the headaches. Go to a reputable company.

I have purchased several items from Ashley through the years and each time there was an issue: with delivery, broken or wrong items, or items broke within the first year; however, issues were corrected. We recently purchased a very expensive mattress with the promise of getting a $250 gift card. After getting the run around for a month, the salesperson Andre ended up telling me, “he never said that and that we were mistaken and there’s no reward/gift card.” To make matters worse - this very expensive and supposedly firm mattress is already sloping in the middle. I spoke to Marie, the manager Marie, and she’s either clueless or lied, too! We have purchased items from CT and never had an issue like this. Unfortunately, City Furniture and Ashley’s are one company but we won’t patronize this company again. We were going to purchase an adjustable base, and a living room set but purchased from Rooms To Go.

After making so many mistakes on my order, the chair "Blaridge rustic brown desk chair" came damaged. I called Ashley several times and they finally gave me a phone number to call, 603 888 4848. They asked to send pictures, which I did, and wait for their call. Today I called for the 3rd time, I just want to return a chair that came damaged (I have all the rights) and they are refusing to have it returned. I bought a very expensive chair that cannot be used and they are refusing to return the chair. This is the worst company and what they are doing it's illegal! Don't come here... you find same furniture, at a better price and arriving much earlier than Ashley at BOB Furniture. They are unprofessional and rude. I just had a call with the manager of the store, Brie. I told her I wanted to return the items and they are charging 10% fee!!! This is not legal!
