Sometimes the customer service is lacking and often not very friendly. One subway location the staff was rude and allowed their friends to disrupt the existing customers ordering. I reported to the owner and never returned to the store. Even though each one is individually own, it took me awhile to frequent other Subway stores.

I find that Subway is perfect for someone who, like me, lives alone and is not much of a cook. I like to get a sandwich at Subway and take it home. I get it without any mayo or other dressings, so I can dress it up the way I want when I get home. The best part is that I can choose many toppings, like lettuce, spinach, onions, pickles, olives and so forth, at no extra charge. Of course, avocado costs more, but it's worth it.

All the employees wear latex gloves, which is a big plus. They are pleasant and usually give me big smiles. The meat and vegetables are always fresh and I can have as much veggies as I want. I like the variety of breads, which are sometimes still warm from the oven. I always leave with a smile on my face.

Food is always fresh and wholesome. Recent additions to menu have been welcome. As a vegetarian, it is one of the few fastfood restaurants that allow me variety in my food without paying a premium price. I normally go for the veggie patty or tuna on toasted multigrain or a tuna chopped salad, all served to my specifications. Usually, there is a line for service, but not an overly long wait.

The food is always fresh and you get to see it prepared, and usually you can walk right up to the counter. The Subway Restaurant Chain always has the most assorted menu and large selection of sandwiches. They give you the option of toasted bread or not. All this personal attention to individual tastes and at a very moderate price. Plus there is Chopped Salad for those who prefer less carbs. Finally they also provide nutrition information on all the food.

I am vegan, so my favorite Sub naturally is Veggie Delight. My sandwich is always made to order. The only concern I have is when the artist does not change gloves after fixing a meat sub, and then tries to touch my veggies, after I advise that I don't eat meat or cheese. I would like the gloves changed instead of getting the 'look'.

Subway is very skimpy on the meat, and the sandwich is very expensive, poor value for money. I almost never visit a Subway unless I have a good coupon or a special promotion. Employees are always in a hurry to get it done, there is no pride in making a good looking sandwich with all ingredients evenly spread across the length of the sandwich. They tend to clump up the meat in the middle, especially the hot meats.

And I have to say that over a period of many years, when I want an inexpensive but decent lunch, Subway is consistently good. Not over the top to die for, heck no. But consistently good and not overpriced. My "go-to" when on the road and hungry in the middle of the day.

I asked for an Aloo patty sub which they served and I paid, but while having it I found that the bread as well as the Patty is cold (even freezed in centre) and was definitely not consumable. When I complained to the store manager he agreed that the patty is cold and can not be consumed but the solution he had was that he can warm the entire (half eaten sandwich) in the oven (where other food is heated) with all the sauces and vegetables inside and expect that it could be consumed after that. This is about Subway Restaurant #66916-0 inside Murphy, North Carolina Wal-Mart Supercenter. AVOID this Subway! Though this Subway is convenient to the supercenter shoppers, it can be noisy, not well cleaned, serve small proportions, be a little overpriced to pay overhead rent and staffed by inexperienced, overworked and rude persons.
Today I ordered the common foot long meatball sub and some water. The server, now designated "Sandwich Artist", looked at me (I'm 70 years young) and told me I needed to go to the back of the line again because he couldn't make my sub for four or five minutes. Why? He said he was out of meatballs and the microwave was in use.
I refused saying I was doing no such thing and asked to see the meatball pot (which inexplicably this Subway keeps out of view of customers). The dishonest server finally showed me the meatball container and there were plenty of meatballs in it. What's going on here, discrimination against seniors? By the time the Sandwich CON-Artist put all seven meatballs on the bun and spread three slices of provolone (like I said, small proportions) the microwave was available. I asked him to toast it, but his reply was "We have to let the microwave cool down." As bad as this was, it gets worse.
At checkout another Sandwich CON-Artist attempted to charge me $2 for a paper cup for my water. I asked why. Her reply was that they were out of water cups and had to charge for the paper cups. My guess is she wanted to take advantage of my age and scam an involuntary donation into her tip jar. I refused. Then I was told the manager would be back soon and would give me a water cup. My sub was half eaten by the time the manager put a little styrofoam water cup on the table without comment or apology.
I briefly told the manager my tale ending with maybe she should fix this before I complained to Subway. Her reply was that she was the Franchise Owner but made no offer to fix anything and started to walk away. Are the sandwich CON-Artists following her directions? If she doesn't care, then I don't care. What I do care about is warning as many people as I can that this SubPAR Subway might become an insulting and price gouging experience for them. Seniors BEWARE!

I kept his number and called Subway HQ who tracked the phone # and informed me that I had not been talking to Customer Service, but the FRANCHISE OWNER! HA! I received an online confirmation thanking me for the order and correctly stating the order details. I had requested an 11:30 am delivery. The meeting was scheduled to start at 12 (noon). When I went to lunch I called back, at this point I had gotten an email stating my order was ready for pickup. I called back to find out if it were able to be canceled, I was then advised to call on Monday because only a manager can cancel the order. I shouldn’t have to jump through these hoops. The mobile app and online platforms should allow for an easier way to cancel an order without having to go through a person.
I would understand if I hadn’t given enough notice to cancel. But, my order hadn’t even come to their system so I should have had the opportunity to cancel it without involving the location. And for my order to be made anyway when I needed it canceled is beyond me. Then I called the customer service line and the representative was extremely rude. She cut me off while I was trying to explain the situation. At this point I no longer want to do business with Subway but I am really disappointed with the way I was treated. The way I was handled wasn’t becoming and I love Subway's food but I am not happy with today's situation.

Then the employee working did not know how to make the subs and overcharged me for my sub purchase. I had a dollar off coupon, but she didn't know how to select that in the register and it did not get honored. The employee said that her Manager called and was running late, but did not show up. This happens all the time during peak times of the day. How can one person handle 15 customers without any assistance?
I called the 1-800 customer number, but they can't do anything as the stores are individually owned. I was told that the store owner would be in touch with me about my experience. What a waste of time! Why is there a customer service number if nothing will be done? This is not the first time that this has happened and I am officially done with Subway. I will never eat at another Subway ever again!!! I wanted to pass this along to other consumers to hopefully save them time if choosing Subway as their restaurant of choice. Visited Subway today. Since they've raised prices to park your car here in Rochester, MN I need to find ways to conserve money so decided Subway and their less expensive 6" subs would be the way to go. I ordered the 6" Spicy Italian - the board shows $4.09 - then under the board it says *pick your bread*. There are a number of options, but I decided to try and have fewer carbs so selected the tomato wrap. When I got to the counter to pay, I was told my total was $10.57. WHAT! What about the $4.09 price listed on their board. Oh that doesn't matter if you get the wrap as the bread. Really? Where does it say that at? It doesn't. Customers just have to be smart enough to know. Really? So if I would have gotten the double steak on a wrap it would have also been $6.99? Guess I'll try that next time.
Subway, stop baiting and switching your customers, and get the info listed on your boards OR have your sandwich *artists* tell customers that it will cost them more. Just because you are greedy, doesn't make this right. I'm done with Subway again... for a long time. Last time was when I got a salad, and they told me if they gave me a piece of bread to go with it they would have to charge me for a full sandwich. (Shaking my head...) BAD BAD BAD Subway!!!

Do not go to the Subway in Baytown Texas on Alexander Dr. Such horrible customer service from the point I walked in! One woman was talking on the phone, and one woman standing there staring into space, like she was daydreaming. She didn't look all there. THIS is not what a customer service experience is supposed to be like. A 10-minute wait, and the woman that was rude was the short little woman who couldn't speak English very well. Just stood there and ignored me while I was waiting. I think it may be a discriminatory place.
Guess I can't go to my own Subway, on my own street, the street I grew up on. I've been here many years, I have family generations back, from Texas, Houston, Austin, and Galveston and never had a problem what this subway till now. I think the employees should be more diverse and less discriminatory, and maybe even have some sensitivity training towards other races.
My ** people would be very sad to see this happening to us still. I guess we haven't evolved as much as we thought we did. Maybe they should teach their employees better customer service skills, like saying, "May I take your order" and not leaving me standing in line, and taking the ** man's order behind me. I love Subway, but I will not be coming to this location on Alexander Dr. anymore, and don't even know what the other ones are like.
Please take my warning and my review, if you want to have a happy family meal, I don't recommend such a discriminatory place for your children to enjoy their meals. It's been at least a year since I've written a review of this Subway shop. It is superior in all regards: quality of product, quality of service, cleanliness, professional attitude, set-up and handling of orders and customers. Recipes, policies, procedures: all intact and in place. I am reporting that nothing has changed. This is usually a bad sign, but in this case, it is excellent.
Upon walking through the door, you are ALWAYS greeted immediately. And whoever makes your sandwich is going to get it right because they listen to the customer and provide exactly what the customer is asking for. This Subway location is so superior to all other companies. (I could mention them all by name, but they are inferior so why bother?) It is superior to ALL other Subway locations. I have yet to find a Subway location that can match the quality of this one. The bread is ALWAYS fresh! The meats and condiments are as well. This location is so good that, if I moved to another area of Las Vegas and wanted a Subway sandwich, I would go out of my way to drive here.

The staff are friendly and hard-working. If they run out of an ingredient they are more than happy to make more. I also like the fact that Subway gives you the ability to pick every single thing you want on it. Another thing I like about Subway is when I get a 40 oz drink and they let me mix two together. I get a 40 ounce cup. I get half Mountain blast and then I fill the rest of the cup up with vitamin water. That may not sound like a good combination but they taste good to me. I like that Subway allows me to get that mix drink.
I do not have any papers that prove this but I believe Subway restaurant is better than a lot of the other fast food restaurants out there. I would rather have a footlong tuna from Subway with lettuce tomato and pickles than have a greasy hamburger or chicken burger from some other fast food place. Like with any restaurant there's no place that is perfect but when it comes to being healthy, professional and good I believe Subway is the place to go to. After the gym, I made a formal complaint on the Subway website - utilizing the customer service form. Subway promptly contacted me and told me that the store owner of that location would connect with me. He began calling my phone from a private number, leaving voicemails insisting I call him back. He then emailed my PERSONAL email (I thought my information was protected!) and sent me a huge long spiel telling me that I was wrong. That I’m stupid and know about business, and insisted the food was fine. He said if there was any problem it was my own and to just go away.
I can’t believe this is how Subway treats their customers. I still paid for this food even though I had to scrap it. I had no idea I would be harassed and threatened for complaining about product quality. This is why the Subway brand is declining - irresponsible and highly inappropriate customer treatment and deteriorating product quality. In fairness, there are some things I couldn't do for them (biology and stuff) but if they both keep on this trend, I think my 15 month old will be able to change her own diapers after seeing me do it more often than usual thanks to how much we're trying to keep her hydrated. Much like Netflix and YouTube, my daughter is also streaming instantly. This has afforded us the opportunity to test out a wide range of carpet cleaning products. There are so many other anecdotes I'd love to discuss with you, at length, but I'd hate to take someone away from servicing the population with your special care. I've had enough issues with Subway over the years to know the exact process of local resolution vs corporate resolution. But I find that more and more of the "resolutions" being required at the local level, are the direct result from poorly-conceived edicts from Corporate Office. I could overload the server going into the vast array of silly easily-rectified debacles of customer respect. But 3 recent ones come to mind. 1. Putting a dozen purchased cookies in paper envelopes rather than into a plastic airtight container. Claims of "required by head office" and "inventory tracking" are often heard. Complaints elevated to head office with request for supervisor call-back are rarely followed up on.
2. Refusing to wrap 6" subs in larger paper upon request. I have good reasons for the request and share them every time I purchase. But they are in increasing cases totally ignored. They use the smaller papers and when I ask if they honored my request they go all dodgy and cagey. One girlie even accused me of being rude and marched away into the back room to send out the manager. For the few fractions of a cent in packaging, why the issue?
3. When waiting in the endless queue for customer service, it's common to hear numerous times "This call may be recorded for training and quality control". (But not for litigation purposes?) I once repeated this back to an phone-missie and she freaked the ** out! She cried that she did not consent and was hanging up-click. I never said I was. Only that I may. And why would Subway require such a protectionist concession from you, and not extend the same courtesy back? I'm currently waiting (up to 5 days now) for a supervisor to call me back about his. They tend to just bury "incongruities" in their business model rather than respecting the customer and dealing with them. If you have a quality product but shameful customer respect... you have a shameful corporate experience and a bad product. The Subway Gazillionaires need to get a clue as to who put them on easy street.

One after the other with no gloves and not cleaning the probe after each bin she would slide the clipboard down the serving area and fill in her charts on the clipboard. All that were in line including us decided to get lunch elsewhere. Before leaving my colleague did kindly ask for the manager, she let him know that she was the manager. The last time that I was at this store, I paused on my way out and took the time to talk to a sandwich worker to thank her for her efforts.
But the manager this time --- who I believe had been present on that previous occasion -- lectured me about her perceptions of my perceptions of people of color. She was remarkably pompous for the junior manager --- one who appears to be all of 19 years old -- of a run-down sandwich store with broken equipment and sanitation issues. I'm familiar with civil rights. My experience goes back nearly to the Civil Rights era. Civil Rights doesn't mean mea culpa to a rude and self-righteous child for being **. This was about a broken machine at the Subway store. The equipment at the store in question is poorly maintained. The Health Department needs to look at this; more than one thing may be broken. I’ll file a report with them next week. The manager wasn’t able to provide the meal that I’d paid for.
When I asked for a refund, she was sanctimonious and lectured me about ethnic issues. She declined to return my money and threatened to call the police if I didn’t let her keep it. In short, she committed theft. I said, "I’ll be happy to wait for the police and to charge you with theft." She then returned my money, grudgingly, but added snide remarks as she did so. I don’t think that this is quite the tone that Subway National is seeking from its franchisees. The owner is Indian. He doesn't care about these issues. He prefers Social Justice for Minorities over the business of selling meals in a positive environment. But Social Justice might start with addressing the self-righteous behavior of employees of color who are seeking to get back at ** people.

Subway has a new District Manager and she was able to make good their error.
Original Review: July 26, 2018
Letter sent to Subway CEO. While my experience relates to this specific order, it has implications for your online ordering system, the reputation of your company, and the way you interact with franchisees and customers. The specifics were that I ordered a sandwich on June 28 to be picked up at 3886 4th Avenue in San Diego. My PayPal account was charged $5.38 and I was instructed to pick up the sandwich at 8:35 PM. When I arrived at the store, it was locked up. I waited 10 minutes and nobody showed up. I returned home and telephoned and the store's voicemail indicated that its mailbox was full. I finally was able to e-mail your customer service and they arranged for the manager to call me back, which he did on the following day. He offered me a $10 gift card in settlement of the account, which I accepted.
As of July 12th, I had not received it and placed a follow-up call to your service people. The woman I spoke with said that HQ could not do anything other than follow up with the store management, which she indicated she would do. As of today, I have not received any compensation. Long story short, there is a trust problem with your payment system. If I walk into the store and place my order there, cash and sandwich exchange hands simultaneously.
The terms on your online ordering system (which otherwise I think is great) are CBD. Ordinarily, when one orders merchandise online, the seller is not permitted to charge the purchaser until the item is shipped. When your franchisee fails to deliver, as owner of the payment system, you need to act as guarantor. I suggest two possible ways to prevent this problem: Require the franchisee to confirm the order. Your system provides a pick-up time; the restaurant owner needs to acknowledge it. Do not charge the customers' accounts until the items are picked up.

Subway Support Sucks. DISCLAIMER: Below is a very (and I mean VERY) detailed review/story of my experience with Subway support. If you'd like to read a summarized version of it, look down towards the bottom. I've pretty much been eating Subway fairly regularly the last 3-5 years. I've always used their rewards program, and it's not the best, but it works. Well, it did. In Subway's recent history, they had the truly brilliant idea of allowing customers to order online or from an app and pick up their order at whatever restaurant they desire, which allowed me to order from Subway more often, which was especially great because I had been trying to eat fewer calories and Subway was my best available option for when I was working.
When I first found out about this new way of ordering ahead, I was all over it, and naturally, I wanted to continue receiving rewards for my purchases. Well, when I tried adding my rewards card to my online profile, it kept telling me my card was already associated with another account, and I had never had an online Subway profile before, so I know I had never connected it to another account. I assumed that the issue was that my rewards card may have been too old for it to be added to an online profile. I've had my card for 3-5 years, and they had made some significant changes to their rewards cards and the reward system in general since I received my card. I figured I could contact their support and figure this issue out, and start receiving rewards for my online orders.
My terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad experience all started with trying to figure out how to contact their support... It looks like they've fixed it since I complained about it, but at the time if you went to Subway.com and scrolled down to the very bottom, select "Contact Us", and then go into the "Contact Us" option on that page, you'd notice that there are about 8 different topics with several random links to general information about each topic, and the only actual contact information was for accessibility help for reading information on the page... I literally had to do a Google search for "how the heck do you contact Subway customer support" to find an email for their support. It did not get any better after this.
To give a sense of time to this whole ordeal, I contacted Subway's support initially on 3/12/18 at 12:03 PM. I received a scripted/automated response back a few hours later, and immediately responded. I told them that their scripted response about rewards cards in general did not help me and I needed further assistance. They did not respond back. I reached out again on 3/28/18 and did not receive any response. During all of this, I was spending roughly $250 per month eating at Subway without receiving rewards.
My second experience with Subway's support came on 6/2/18 when I received an email from Subway asking me to review my recent experience, so I did. I told them that there was a fly flying around the lettuce, and that the lady who helped me was incredibly nice, but I also decided to complain some more about how I couldn't connect my rewards card to my online profile. On 6/3/18 at 10:06 PM I received a lovely response from Tracy, and I felt like all of my problems were going to be resolved. HA! Boy, was I wrong.
In Tracy's response to my review, she told me how sorry she was that I was having problems, that she appreciated my detailed feedback, and that she was going to personally get to the bottom of this. She told me she would be in direct contact with the team who was over the rewards program, and that she'd see that it got resolved. I responded on 6/4/18 telling her how grateful I was for her help, and would await any updates she had for me. I did not hear anything the rest of that month, but Tracy wouldn't leave me hanging would she? She was different than those other customer service representatives, she cared! I knew that Tracy wouldn't just blow me off, so I sent her another email on 7/2/18 at 11:48 AM to see if any progress had been made.
By 7/5 I started to feel forgotten, by 7/12 I felt hopeless, by 7/18 I was heartbroken, and on 7/25 (today) I decided to write this detailed review of my experience. I had literally lost out on over $60 in rewards from buying subway online without a rewards card, and I made a commitment to never eat at Subway again. From this whole experience I have learned that Subway's customer support does not have any focus on customer issues. My issue is as simple as looking up the card, seeing whether or not it is connected to an online profile, and going from there.
That literally takes less than 5 minutes to do on their end, but I was forced to wait 4 months and not get anywhere. If I could give Subway a rating below 0 I would. I've probably spent thousands of dollars at Subway over the years, and when it came down to relying on their support to help me spend more of my money there, they chose to just let me have my issue. It was easier for them to just ignore an issue and lose a customer than it was to simply look into it.
-- SUMMARIZED VERSION -- In summary, I couldn't add my rewards card to my online profile, and contacted Subway's support several times over the course of 4 months to try and get it resolved. Each time I ended up being ignored. I had missed out on over $60 in rewards during that time, and felt like Subway's support didn't ever take my issue seriously. I will never go back to Subway, and wouldn't ever recommend someone else to go there if they have ANY other alternative.

I was looking for an ingredient list. I want to know what they put in their Guacamole (probably not how to spell it). In the past they had avocado, but I found it very bitter. They must have put some chemical in it to keep it green. They should use lemon juice. It tastes better and its healthier.

I'm going to get straight to the point. Subway sandwiches are expensive and full of nothing. It does not matter what bread you pick or what sandwich they make. Every sandwich looks like it's been rolled over by a mac truck and tastes dead like cardboard with some onions and vinegar added. They want you to pay extra for extra meat and even when you would consider to pay extra it's still not a nicely filled sandwich. The workers at every Subway looks like they can care less about what they serve. Only the manager seems to have some sort of enthusiasm about what is being served to the customer but not enough to make a decent sandwich.

My husband and I were in Walmart on 192 building 4400 13th St. Saint Cloud. We decided to stop for a Subway sandwich. Inside the store the young man was busy and suddenly out of nowhere this blonde young lady stepped in. I said, "Hello," and she ignored me then she asked what I was having and I asked for two sandwiches with wheat bread. She cut the bread in two and put the other half back then asked me what I wanted. I specifically said, "Chicken," and so did my husband. She proceeded to put tuna on my bread so I said to her, "I didn't ask for tuna." At this time she was acting very rude and yelling. Threw the bread and said to the young man, "You take these people. I'm not doing anything. I don't understand what they want," and just pushed back and refused to serve us.
Please advised that we are New Yorkers of Spanish descent but speak English very well so there was no reason for her sarcasm. At this time we decided we no longer wanted the sandwich and asked the young man for the manager. Well to our surprise he said in a low voice she was the manager. We walked away and two minutes later I went back to ask for her name. I heard her say, "Here comes those people again." We are seniors residing in Saint Cloud. It was a very degrading experience so everyone can know who she is. Her name is **.

My employees and I used to eat at Subway a lot up until about 3 years ago. It is right next door to my business and it used to always be busy. It was the best Subway because the food was fresh, the owner cared and his employees were very nice. I knew the owner and learned a few things about the franchise. He would do the $5 sandwiches on certain subs every day and accept all Subway coupons. But the Subway Corp would contact him that he cannot give offers if Subway Corp is not promoting across all stores.
The subway store down the street would call on him all the time because people would go to that Subway and want the deal. I also learned that their POS system is completely controlled by the corporation so the store owner cannot change anything, which kept him from giving out the $5 specials unless it was a promotion. They control the prices of the food and the inventory coming in. Subways are required by Corp to control how many pieces of meat go on each sandwich. This owner sold his business about 3 years ago because of Subway's greed and the control of his business.
There is never a long line like it used to be. Because of how cheap they are on the meat I have probably bought Subway 2 times plus today since about 3 years ago. I went in today and ordered a 6” turkey (4 pieces of turkey, she put 5 on then realized it and took 1 off) for $5. It was awful, nothing but bread and mustard. I Will never eat Subway again, my employees only get drinks there as well. That was the main place we ate at back then. Today was absolutely the last time, I felt cheated over a measly $5. Subway Corp is just greedy and the owners are suffering from it.

Subway is not closing stores because of the type of restaurant it is. It is because the service really really sucks. I would go more often but I am running out of Subways to go to. I took pictures as I progressed into the wrap. There was no double meat. There was not enough for a single meat. I showed the manager and they remade my wrap with the exact results. He argued saying I’m not putting your items in a salad bowl. I said that’s fine. I just don’t want SOGGY BREAD. He continued to argue to put meat on a piece of bread. It came home with no cuts just bread and meat. Normally the toppings they put in little cups BUT NOT THIS STORE! After agreeing to remake, he literally put all the toppings in two cookie bags then in a plastic sandwich bag. The paper had disintegrated in the 10 min drive home and the plastic was leaking. I never asked that this idiot contact me; nor do I want someone like this calling my phone. If this is how Subway teaches their franchisees to resolve issues and address customers. I don't want this matter resolved. I just won't ever eat at another Subway restaurant again, and I will encourage friends and family to do the same.

After 1.5 yrs of buying from this place I just had the worst customer experience ever. Unbelievable! 2nd time in a row the restaurant "claimed" they did not receive my online order. After showing receipt of purchase AND payment they still did not want to give me the sandwich as they said the order was probably canceled and refunded BUT it was not. The order was in the system and paid for. Not only they were rude but the attendant started cursing at me for no reason, with a minor (my son) in the car. I called CORP and they did have my order and everything was paid for ($8.14). So instead of checking their systems to look for my order number they decided it was a better choice to not give me the sandwich and CURSE at the customer. I will never be back there at Subway at 2701 Davie Blvd, that is for sure. They just lost 3 customers.

Last night we had the worst service we've ever had from a fast food restaurant. We ordered a few 6" subs and a couple of cups of soup. When we got home, we found that the cups of soup were only half full. The subs were all more than just skimpy with the meats. I called to complain and was simply told that the subs were all prepared "as usual", and that it was standard practice to only use "one ladle" full of soup per cup, which only fills them halfway. I asked to speak to the manager, but was told that he wouldn't be back in until the next day, at which point I said I'd call the manager the next day.
The manager, Rob, seemed actually reasonable and sympathetic. However, since he did not have the capability to reimburse us, he told us to call the franchise owner, Gary, to get a refund. When I finally got through to Gary, he was ANYTHING but reasonable. He insisted that there was NO way that we could have had such poor service at his store. It was obviously inconceivable for him. With one of the subs, the Autumn Turkey Carver, which appeared to have a single thin slice of turkey, he told us that they had run out of stock and had to supplement a regular carved slice of turkey with an additional thin deli slice. Even if this were true, it means that he is fully aware that they are not selling the exact product that Subway advertises. So, since they don't mention that to the customers, that is fraud right there.
He also kept insisting that he had spoken with my wife many times, dealing with complaints, in effect accusing her of being some sort of chronic complainer or swindler. Neither she nor I had ever spoken with him before, let alone call to complain about service at a Subway. There was no talk of any sort of reimbursement. He simple said that he'd "look at the tape" and deal with it. When asked if "dealing with it" meant calling us back as soon as possible to see about reimbursement, he balked. He ended up hanging up on us.
We've been going to this particular Subway for years and years. This is the first time we've had such a problem. As I understand it, this franchise owner is somewhat new to this particular Subway store. We liked it a LOT better before he took over! After being hung up on, I called back to let the owner know I would be posting the negative service story anywhere I could online... then I hung up on him! It is the last time we will buy from this Subway. And since we have no way of knowing which other Subways might be owned by this franchise owner, we'll use Quiznos from now on! I would have given this place zero stars, but that doesn't seem to be allowed.

Went in to get a 6" salad bowl, which is not too big for the price I paid, which cost $6.76. That sounds outrageous as the owner David Bombara will NOT permit discounts. I think it is sad because some of the careers people do in their life is sacrificed for people who are free to work anywhere here in the US. This owner needs to not be so greedy as other Subways will offer these discounts and they are gracious with it but NOT this owner at 9045 S. Maryland Pkwy, Las Vegas, NV. I have been a loyal Subway customer for years and I have been collecting points every time I purchase a sandwich. To my surprise, when points are not used to purchase a sandwich, they are arbitrarily taken back. I had accumulated a large number of points, with the intention of redeeming them over the summer while on vacation. I was shocked when Subway deducted 1000 points from my account because they had not been used. I consider this stealing from their customer. I earned these points. They are in my account, and Subway has no right to just deduct them without first notifying me. Subway could contact me via email to let me know that if points are not redeemed by a certain date, they will be deducted.
The fact of the matter is Subway contacts no one, they just deduct the points. This is theft. And Subway should be held accountable for all of the points they have stolen from their customers. To date I have lost over 1000 points. These are points that I earned buying their product. I should have been able to redeem them for food items for myself and family. I have contacted Subway twice about this issue, and each time I received an email stating that this was their policy. WELL THEIR POLICY STINKS. And I want everyone who patronizes Subway to know how they truly treat their customers.

Hello all! First, I'd like it to be known that I take great pride in my manners, I am always polite - Please, thank you, and excuse me are natural responses whenever I am socializing with other individuals. I have noticed that when I am visiting the Subway in West Seattle, On Andover and Delridge, I am usually greeted with an attitude, my items get slammed around and my change is handed to me in a downright disrespectful way.
So today I decided to ask if there's an issue with me. No one responded, the cashier turned her back and continued to pretend to wipe the counter as they spoke to one another in Spanish. It is disappointing because there are not many other options for lunch in this area, and I am always friendly when I approach the employees there. I am not sure who I can contact- not sure if there's even be a resolution. So I vented- and I guess I will not go there again!! I cannot submit a receipt as a "verified buyer" because I was not given one. Thanks!

I decided to go to Subway for dinner tonight. Because I was tired of eating cups of noodles and had enough for a typical sub. My favorite is a turkey sub with roast beef and lots of veggies. I order it my way. The person does this. I decide to spring for the meal. $14 for this sub! I honestly only got turkey, roast beef, and veggies, smallest bag of chips ever and a small drink. $14!!! I could have gone to Jersey Mike's and got a large sub (about twice as big as Subway's) for the same price.
I also could have gone to my local Thai food shop and paid half as much for twice as much. Worst about it, was when I complained about it at the register, the person behind it told me it was because I ordered a custom sub. Whereas if I had ordered one of their signature subs (most with a lot more going on than what I asked for) it would have been between $4-5 cheaper. What sense does that make!? I am locked in to ordering one of their signature subs and if I don't I am charged more? Needless to say, I will never eat at Subway again. Jersey Mike's all the way. Way fresher ingredients. Much nicer staff. And they won't bend you over at the counter for a cheap sub that should have costed $9 at most but instead charge you $14 and say "well deal with it". Boycotting Subway now.

I went to Subway on 19th ave N for lunch and I had a BOGO with purchase of any drink coupon. I ordered one black forest ham footlong, and a subway club foot long, both were 5.99/each on the menu. But when I checked out, I was told it was about 11 dollar with the coupon, I wasn't expecting such a high price since the sub was only 5.99 and a drink should be around one dollar. I asked why, the cashier told me she did not know why, I just need to pay whatever amount the computer says. I told her to explain why I needed to pay that much. Then she got lady A who was in her late 40s or early 50s. She said, "because Subway Club was a special offer, your coupon could not work for that."
Well, I told them that there is no place saying that and plus I showed them the coupon even before I order and was only told that the coupon will not work for steak and cheese sub, but no one told me that it did not work for Subway Club either. I will not get the Subway Club if it's more expensive, and I want two black forest ham instead. Then lady A said "Ok, you can if you want," and then she left. For half a minute, the cashier did not know what to do but then she asked me to pay for the price of one black forest ham and one drink and put the two subs in front of me. I thought they probably realized it's their fault and just let me go. Plus, if I go and get a new sub, they probably have problem reselling this already made one. So I took the two subs and sat down to eat.
Ten minutes later, When I was about to finish half of my sub, lady A came up to my table, without even saying a hi, grabbed one of the subs (without even knowing which is ham one and which is Subway Club) from my table and raised her voice and said to me, "You took someone else's sub, you did not pay for it!" Her voice was so loud that everyone there began to look at me like a thief! I said that I paid for it. She said, "No you did not, you paid only for one black forest ham." I said, "Yes, but I have a BOGO coupon, I can get there other one for free." She said, "Fine, then go and wait in the line to get another black forest ham sub (there was a long line)," then she throw that sub she took from my table to the trash and left.
I was shocked! This is how Subway treat their customers, they would throw your sub to trash than let you eat it, even if this means they also need to suffer (a sub), they just want to humiliate their customers. So better be careful, do not let them be unhappy! Pictures are attached, the sub that thrown to trash by her.

By this means I would like to inform you the nightmare experienced that begins the day 8/5/2017 at approximately 1:50 pm. Approx. A horrible experience, regrettable, vicious and extremely embarrassing that we had to pass in front of our children and family in the Subway restaurant with the address 7780 Lake Underhill Road Suite 106 Orlando, FL 32822. We went to one of our favorite restaurants Subway since it was located in front of the hospital where our mother was hospitalized. Taking advantage of the fact that we had arrived offerings through text messages from the subscriptions of Subway (Official page) We decided to redeem them and use it before expired on 08/08/2017.
To show them the offers that we receive through text messages of the Subway restaurant, the manager never took the time to check the information. In fact she said: "They are false and we're not going to receive here," with the attitude arrogant, provocative and aggressive. The manager ** at no time wanted to cross word directly with us, was felt through signs intimidating with a tone rude and aggressive. Even asking her to please look for a second my cell and see that are not false, she treat us as liars without having look at it, corroborated the offers we have recently received. For us this is a traumatic experience and quite disgraceful, both for me and for my family. There we were marginalized, we humiliated in front of customers, we were made to feel discriminated against and very uncomfortable.
We were disappointed by the service so frightening that we receive in that local already that I know is not the service that we are used to receive. When I said that we were going to call corporate in search of answers and solutions to the situation. We went to the outside of the Subway restaurant trying to contact some district manager, we also try to call without any success to Ms. Vicki ** the number **. The employed subway (Manager **, used cashier **) to see that we were in search of answers through phone calls. The manager had called 911 to our surprise, the sheriff arrived it reaches us about and tells us that he is investigating an assault, a trespassing and a crime scene. We were in shock, the officer tells us that we had to enter the Subway restaurant without any foundations to our understanding.
My kids were nervous, anxious, my family was nervous, my sister patient of cancer she was super nervous, starts to cry questioning the officer that why? What was happening? My sister tells the police there's nothing has happened. Only wanted to redeem the offers of subway and the manager ** told us that no. The sheriff tells us that they (employed Subway) called 911 doing some allegations, then when the journal The confronter, informs us that them the manager ** and the employee ** accepted that the allegations that they did on the call of 911 were false testimony and contradictory.
He tells them to those employed in the Subway that our family requested see the cameras and all that had happen to discard the allegations, that those employed in the Subway did. The officer tells us that the employed Subway end up accepting that this was a lie which had argued when they made the call 911. Not satisfied with that, we seems more unfair even that the police have given us a trespassing warning for life?? We are still in shock! An injustice has been committed. We demand justice.

Okay. The first time I was charged twice for one bottled Coke. I called Subway and they noticed it, and apologized, and that was that. I went back up there a few days later, the manager apologized, and gave me a free sandwich. Cool. The second time the manager tore the top of my sandwich off, so I requested a new sandwich, he became upset with me, (maybe I hurt his pride) and refused to make me another one saying that they would all do the same thing. I offered to buy the one that he broke, but he wouldn't let me, and gave it to me for free. He gave me Hell about it nonetheless. Even though I was trying to pay for it.
Jump to a few weeks later, I go up there and "the system is down and it'll take an hour to come back on" so I left and got Sonic. A few days later a friend of mine, and myself go up there for lunch. The manager, again tells us both that, "the system is down for a few hours" even though he just served people. We left and got Sonic.
Jump to today. I go by myself. "Can I help you, sir?" "Yes, I'd like a..." (interrupted by the manager) "Sorry, sir. The system is down for a few hours". And this is after I just watched a man buy his food. I asked the gentlemen if he had a problem ordering. He said no. I told him this was the third within a week, maybe a week and a half that he's told me, "the system is down" and frankly I think it's completely **. The customer left with his food. I got on the phone with Subway waiting for someone to answer my call. The manager told me to leave his store because he wasn't serving me. I told him I wasn't going to have a conversation with him about it, that I was on the phone with Subway waiting. He told me he was going to call the cops. I said go ahead. He did.
The cops came, didn't really listen to a word I said. Escorted me out of the store, "before there was a problem" and told me to leave. I asked why he wasn't going to serve me, they basically told me to stop asking questions and go away. So, in order to avoid jail time, I left. Now, Subway doesn't really see what he did wrong. But I guess I'll wait for, "someone to contact me about the matter further." I was never offered an apology while I was on the phone with Subway. Even after I told them everything that happened.
I've always gone to my local Subway, and I've never had a problem until this manager started refusing my service because they overcharged me, and I called about it. And the fact that me, a paying customer wants his sandwich made right. And if it's not, I always, very politely ask them to make it again. I'm not being unreasonable. I'm not causing trouble, as he accused me of. I'm only exercising my rights as a paying customer. I've never raised my voice. I've never cursed anyone. I've never made a scene. And I have my family, and friends that have accompanied me many, many times to prove that.

Oh, okay well let's get up on our high hat and from now on I'll stick my chin out and say pro-vo-lone cheese, please. How ** stupid.

So now we have to drive 3 miles away to get a good subway sandwich.
We have witnessed on various occasions veggies (lettuce, cucumbers, peppers, etc) spilled off the sandwich on to the counter and scraped off the counter and put back in the container. On one occasion we watched a lady ahead of us have the wrong cheese put on the sandwich and then took the cheese off the sandwich wiped it off and put it back in the cheese container. We had once made a complaint on subway's website and expected to hear from someone at subway corporate but instead got a call from the franchise owner who told me that if we didn't like their food to never come back. All I can say is we are very dissapointed in subway for allowing a store to be run this way. Again we will continue to buy subway sandwiches now having driving miles away but never from this Kentwood store.

Although the daily special seems like a deal, it is not, because the owners, specially the **, put half of the salad stuff in the sandwich, saving huge amount by the end of the day. If you buy a foot-long sandwich, they will put five or six olives and a few of onion pieces (because these items are expensive). Customers either don't understand this or just ignore. The company should investigate this scam and stop giving franchises to cheaters. (Most of Subway owners are **.) I have similar experience at different locations. You will never experience such things at Tim Hortons or McDonald's.

Went there the other day the one 41 S Lee Street, Unit 5, Labelle, FL 33935, USA. 863-675-4003 ok. So we don't have to drive 40 minutes for a different sandwich shop. I asked before I ordered "did the Reuben sandwich be included in 6 dollar footlong." The lady said yes. I also ordered a tuna footlong. When I asked for fixings on the Reuben the lady said "we do not put anything on it."
First all hardly no sauerkraut. There regular amount of cheese. When I got to register 9.00 for a nothing sandwich and 6.00 (reg. 7.00) for the tuna. Had I known it was not going to be taken off I would have purchased the order separate. Worst sandwich ever. I can for 9.00 go anywhere else and get a full sandwich and the girl said "sorry that is the way it is." If a customer wants something on their sandwich regardless of what it is they should get it. They do for the meatball sandwich. I refuse to go back again unless the owner does something. We live in a small town with limited sandwich place.

I came yesterday around 10:30 am with a couple of friends. This is the first time of my friends in US. Actually they were in a scale of their trip to New York. Sadly their first experience with an US service attendance was at this Subway store # 29365-0 in Sawgrass Mills Mall Sunrise FL, with Geanine. "OMG", as she repeatedly said while we were deciding the bread we wanted. She was so upset. Her attitude was so horrible. She was complaining, making faces, like she was hating us for a reason that I still don't understand, and I was so embarrassed with my friends.
I was translating to them about the different kind of bread. When we chose one, Geanine in a rude way said she doesn't have that one, so, I asked her which ones she has, and then she again in a very aggressive way said all except that one, and she keep her bad attitude, to the point that I have to told her that I didn't want her to serve us. I'll wait for the other lady that was busy when we arrived to serve us. She looked very surprise but I told her that I didn't like her at all and that she was acting weird. And then not happy with that, she starting to laughing at us while we're waiting for the other lady.
After I confronted her about her laughing she went inside for a couple of minutes. Thanks God the other lady was nice and serve us how it has to be with RESPECT! Because this Geanine really has a behavioral problem and now, I found similar reviews, so, looks like isn't the first time she acted like that. What a shame. She needs to be working in another kind of environment. Maybe alone.
Now it comes the worst part. I came back to the same Subway and I noticed that Geanine wasn't there. I found the other lady that served us and I asked her for the manager, because I feel that I need it to submit a formal complaint about our awful experience and surprisingly Geanine is the GM General Manager of both of the Subways in the Sawgrass Mills. I was like what?? Are you kidding me?? Who hired a crazy, aggressive and rude person to be a manager of a business that serve people? I can't imagine how she should treat her employees if she treated us like garbage yesterday. Us, her clients.
This is terrible and I hope, you the corporate office and the owner of these businesses read this complaint and do something about it because isn't fair with the public to be treat in the way Geanine treated us. It felt like DISCRIMINATION. You can check the cameras. Hope they have microphones so, you can have probes of what I'm saying, or better send someone to check by himself. Send someone that look Latin and that doesn't speak good English and you'll see how bad she is. Imagine, people from over the world goes to this Sawgrass Mills mall to shopping, and, if she treat all of them without any patience and charisma, I really feel bad for them. Not many will do what I did to stand up and confronted her. She can convert a nice day to a nightmare and people didn't deserved that. I'll never come back to that Subway if she is around. She's scary.

I walked in to a man, **, putting away trays last night. No greeting. The store was empty. As I made my way up closer to order, without looking up he says, "I'll be with you in a moment." As a former subway employee myself I knew that it wouldn't take long to finish what he was doing. So I responded with an "Ok, thanks." I was wrong. After putting trays away and organizing the remaining bread he began cleaning and wiping off the area. 5 mins pass. Still no acknowledgement. A lady appears from the back and begins shifting thru things to put away. NOTHING. Ten minutes in, still hasn't said a word or even looked up; how rude and unprofessional. I ask a ludicrous question to try to make sense of what was going on. "Are you guys still open?" Finally looking up he says, "Yes. We are open. But we have had a busy day and I need to clean."
With no hurry in his process of doing so, I wait. And wait. And wait. It shouldn't take a grown human being more than a minute to clean up some crumbs from under a board. The lady has been back and forth constantly without ever saying anything. Disgusted, I walk out. Couldn't get out quick enough before it started mumbling under his voice. Suffered thru the urge of turning around and responding but it didn't deserve the acknowledgement. Instead I decided focusing my energy on leaving a review to warn everyone else to not spend their money there. Doubt people would actively look for such sour service to gladly support. Ironically, as I came to leave a review, I see what seems to be ** himself leaving a review stating that he's the new owner. What a shame. Busy days happen, it's part of the job. Especially when there are promos going. If you were still open your duty was to serve not clean. You failed.
Also spraying the counter top inches away from uncovered food is going to get someone poisoned. Nice going. ("I am the new owner of this store. I know that in the past you might have had a not so good experience. But I guarantee you that you will have a great experience at this Subway.") So I have been to this Subway a few times (it's by a CVS, McDonalds, and a Baskin Robbins here in Modesto, CA). New employees have been hired. They have great attitudes, extremely friendly, and very helpful. The managing sucks though. I'm not racist but the Indian lady is very rude to both her employees and customers. I feel bad for the employees because she yells at them to do one thing then gets mad and yells at the to help out, when obviously they are only doing what she asked of them. Not only that but this Halloween I went in around 6 or 7 pm and these two very young girls were working. I asked them if they even had any customers, they said only about 2 or 3! Do you believe that!? And they closed at 9. Wouldn't it cost more to keep the store open though on that kind of slow night?!
It made me think of my own kids and when they get older and have a job; I hope it's not a job with management like that! I wouldn't want my daughter or son working on a time that is meant for Family! I wonder if they even get Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's off! I think Corporation should look into this Subway! Like I said the employees are great but the management sucks! I felt so bad for these girls! I wonder how their parents feel! I wouldn't blame anyone who tries looking for another job that gives Holidays off! Just some things are not right!

This particular Subway continues to provide terrible customer service. A young female working this evening made a comment under her breath once a customer said she put too much southwest chipotle. This is not acceptable. When I asked her name she refused, when I asked the MOD on duty he refused as well. I told them I was going to write corporate, I used no foul language nor raised my voice. He then states he would not give his name, he then tells me he seen no issue with how she was acting. Saying "If you don't like it deal with it" when a customer says that's a lot of sauce is not acceptable. He told me he had the right to refuse service at any point in time! He snatches the sandwich and tosses it! As I stated to him her attitude seems like she doesn't want to be here so she shouldn't be. I have never been refused service because I wanted to voice my opinion.
I am asking that you review your cameras and hope that audio is available to hear and see this interaction. I under no circumstance should be denied a first name if I want to complain about what I see! Secondly no one there had on name tags or I wouldn't have asked! I will not and I do mean will not do business with an establishment whom allows this type of behavior. The manager on duty refusing to give his name?!? Saying "Well I'm not going to give you my name either." If he had no problem with it, that's fine but again her comment about the previous customer was unacceptable, period.
I was not unreasonable. I wanted to make sure that since she didn't provide her name I would use the MOD on duty as reference for my complaint. Refusing service to someone whom is not being abusive is not OK. More importantly, I drove to the next Subway and still received my meal. Again I was not abusive, disrespectful, yelling or using foul language. Refusing service because I want to complain, he said that was the reason.

I feel a very good employee was lost due to poor management and favoritism. This continues to be overlooked and brushed under the rug at the Glenville, WV Subway. It's a sad sad situation when you have a regular employee treating the other co-workers like crap through intimidation and bullying just because he is dating the manager's' daughter. On a personal level I feel the area mgr. is a decent person. On a business level it's a sad situation when she lets a college employee intimidate and bully workers so much they quit just because he is dating the area mgr. daughter. My wife quit recently because of this and has the text msgs he sent to her. The area mgr. was aware and did nothing.
What a black eye for Subway. Anytime the area mgr., the boyfriend, daughter or niece is questioned your hours are cut and it's blamed on work ethic. My wife started in March 2016 and in that time a mgr. was demoted and 6 people have come and gone in a 6 month period. The only people that seem to have above 10 hours and stay is family. I hope things eventually change for the sake of Glenville, WV. People chatter in this small town and the word is already getting around. Awesome food. Piss poor management.

Or that when you purchase a sub at times they don't have tomatoes or cheese, or maybe they are out of lettuce, pickles, olives, etc. and sometimes the meat and toppings are old and tasteless. But they still expect you to pay $9.50 anyway, it's ridiculous. These subs are not cheap and seemingly rising daily. If I go to work for 3 hours a day, should I still expect to get paid for 8 hours? Therefore, I am boycotting Subway, and their nasty stale subs. I can go elsewhere and spend $10 bucks and get better service. Subway sucks. I will not eat there again.

I am a retired State Police Captain and State Bureau of Investigation Special Agent. I retired with 32 years of honorable service. I was an internal affairs investigator and major case agent, so when I noticed the manager at store #6401-0 in Cedartown, GA was not giving receipts to every customer and was not ringing up every sale, it piqued my curiosity. I noticed he would give a receipt to every third or fourth customer, so I think I know what he is doing.
Our last SIX visits, we have NOT GOT A Receipt. I took special notice to see if he rang up our purchase. HE DID NOT. He just hit one button, opened the drawer and handed me the change. I have been very tempted to confront him, but I felt as though someone at corporate should look into what is going on. This manager owns "three" Subways in the local area: Store #6410-0, # 36646-0, and one in Buchanan, GA (don't know the number). Please feel free to contact me and ask any questions you would like. I think I know what this manager is doing, but I will let you do your own investigation into criminal activity. Thanks for your time.
