It was January 8, 2010 about 7:30 p.m. Outside temperature was 25 degrees. We went in and noticed it was cold. We ordered our sandwich. We sat down to eat and we also noticed we were the only people there. We started talking to the 2 girls that were working there and they told us that there is no heat in that establishment. And they have had no heat all winter long. Their owner is always going to have it fixed. But it never gets fixed. He owns several of these Subways. 3 more in Texarkana, Texas. Two on Stateline Avenue and one on Richmond Road.

These girls have to work in very cold temperatures. The girl that opens in the morning is miserable until she turns those ovens on and gets a little heat going. Now we understand why no one else was there. We were freezing too. We finally wrapped our meal up and took it with us. They told us everyone uses the drive thru now. This, to me should be unacceptable work ethics. I really did not know whom to contact. Maybe you can help, or you can tell me who else I can report this to. Establishment should have heat for workers and customers. Temperatures are 25 degrees outside.

A worker at Subway had been giving me subs with sauce all over the wrapper. One day, when I asked her to please give me a clean wrapper, she became agitated. She then put 3 meatballs on one of my six-inch subs (there are supposed to be 4). Then, she put a messy spoon of sauce where the 4th meatball was supposed to go. When I told her to please give me the 4th meatball, she said it wouldn't fit. When I said I was going to call the manager, she threw the sub in the trash because she didn't want me to show the manager. Then, she said she just couldn't serve my family that night.

We didn't go back for a long time, and when we did go back almost 2 months later, she said her manager had said she no longer had to serve my family ever. I called corporate office to speak with customer relations 3 times, and was promised each time that someone from the store would call me. The 4th time I called, I finally got a supervisor that said the owner would call me. He did, at 10:30am on a Thursday when I wasn't home. I called him back about 2 in the afternoon and he was gone. He never returned my call after that.

I am a regular customer at both Subways (Old Kings and Phillips), and I know that they are owned by the same person. Depending on how much time I have daily, I choose which store to go to. I was at the Old Kings store on Friday, the 24th of July, around 5:15. What I saw and heard was rude. I know the managers at both stores, but I am not sure what the name of the manager is at Old Kings store is. However, I do know Joanna and she was there. I am assuming she was off the clock, helping the employee who was working.

From what I understand, she was running behind. So I saw Joanna and the new girl from Phillips go to the back and help do the dishes. That's when the manager of the Old Kings store came in, went to the back, and made a rude comment to Joanna: "Oh look, Joanna wants to really work now." I overheard her say this to Joanna, and I thought that it was extremely rude, considering that she didn't even offer to help the employee who was working. And Joanna and the other new employee were there to help. I go to the Phillips store a lot, and I know Joanna is a hard worker, because she is always at her store. I didn't think that it was right for your other manager to make such a rude comment to someone who obviously works hard and was simply trying to give a helping hand.

Subway has the promo: $5 foot-long sandwiches. I purchased a chicken teriyaki foot-long and was charged $7.15. At this time, Lotay was the cashier. June 8, 2009 (8:15pm). Signs are posted stating $5 foot-long, but the cashier Lotay is charging full price. Promo price is not being given. I had to spend more than I intended.

Subway is advertising 5ft longs. The word any is flashing and the voice says "any," and I mean any. We went to subway. It's a lie. In fine print on the board inside a store it says, "Any except for specialty subs." My son and I went thinking he would get his favorite and so would I (the BMT and the Feast). When we got there, we ordered and were immediately told those two are not $5.00. I said, "But the commercial says any." The worker said, "I know, sorry. Read here" (he pointed to the menu board where it says any sub for $5.00 other than specialty subs). We were there for those specific subs. I ended up paying $18.00 instead of $11.00 (figuring $1 for tax). I am on a limited budget, but I had promised my kid I would get him the sub he loves because I thought I was getting the price they advertised. I could have walked out, but doesn't make it better.

When a company says any, they have to mean any. I am sick of companies being allowed to lie. People work hard for their money and Subway shouldn't be allowed to lie to take our money. A minimum wage worker has to work for over an hour to earn a $5.00 meal. Subway makes millions. Not fair. I should be able to get any sub I want for the advertised price. People don't do anything about it because when they try, nothing happens. I would like to be able to say I wrote Consumer Affairs and they took action on the people's behalf. We can make this country better if we make the effort. Thank you.

First of all - let me state this: I have never, in my 58 years on this earth - filed a complaint about any restaurant - or any employee. And, I hate to do it now. But this poor customer service needs to be addressed -and addressed now. Next time, with the next person - you may end up with some reverse racial discrimination charges filed. Not only has your company lost my business - but the Wal-Mart store in Laurinburg has lost thousands of dollars of my business every year. I am forwarding a copy of this e-mail to their Bentonville office also.
When I arrived, during my lunch hour, there were only two customers in front of me and three employees working behind the counter. The first two customers were waited on, paid for their purchases and left. When I ordered my sandwich, I stated that I had to get back to work. I am a State empoyee and was in full uniform. The employee made my sandwich, wrapped it, and sat it on the counter. Then, he proceeded to make a sandwich for the customer behind me. I stood there for about two minutes thinking someone else may have to ring up the purchase. Finally, I asked if someone was going to ring up my sandwich. This same employee stated, "As soon as I finish this one". I told him, "No - you just keep it". And I walked out. No - I stomped out. I have never been so furious in my life. With my job - it is one customer at a time. You don't start on one and wait on another one while the first one stands on the sideline waiting to be finished. This was not only poor service but absolutely inexcusable.

I purchased the sub of the day and added avocado, chips and a drink. The woman at the counter asked if it was to go. I said yes and she gave me a total of $5.91. My friend suggested that we eat there so I told her I would be dining in after all, and asked for a tray instead of a bag. She then said my total would be $6.11. I asked her what the difference was for and she said that they charge extra for eating in the restaurant. I explained that I didn't think that was fair and asked to have my food to go.

On Monday August 11, 2008, I purchased & ate 3 cookies & a footlong coldcut combo sandwich from the Subway named above. Later that night at 11:10pm, I went to the bathroom. I had diarrhea & nausea. Early Saturday morning, I called 911, I went to Centinela Hospital. I was admitted, tests were done. I was there with diarrhea & nausea for 3 days. By Tuesday, August 19th, 2008, it stopped.

On Wednesday, Aug. 20th, 2008, I got a call from the Health Dept. because I had Salmonella Poisoning. On Aug. 29th, 2008, I went to my oncologist office and told him what it was. He and some of the nurses ate at that same Subway and got sick. They reported it to the Health Department.

I spent 9 days with nausea, vomitting & uncontrollable diarrhea. I ended up in the hospital for 3 of those days. I already have serious health issues going on. That may have caused kidney and/or liver damage. I was weak, tired, nor did I sleep. I am just now getting some of my strenght back. I get headaches. I get lightheaded.

I ordered a big philly cheesestake footlong combo and had a $5 giftcard. The cashier told me I can't use the giftcard and pay the difference with my credit card because they can not charge 2 cards together. I paid with my credit card and requested for the $5 in cash for the gift card because under Senate Bill 250, I have the right to redeem my card that is under $10. The cashier told me they do not give cash back.

I requested to speak with the manager and cashier told me she was the manager. The cashier told me she'll call the owner after I told her that she is breaking the law by withholding the cash that I can get back with the subway gift card. When she came back after the call with the owner, she told me to go back to the store that sold me the card because that's the only way I can get my cash back. It's a gift card so how am I supposed to know which subway it was purchased from.

I am in distress. I ended up having to charge the whole $9.57 to my credit card. I feel that I've been wronged and I know they are breaking the law but I feel like there is nothing I can do about it. I was so angry that I couldn't even enjoy the rest of my day.

I was charged $6.19 instead of $5.19. it's only a dollar but it's my dollar and I think they believe that they can get away with it, so they do it. i would like my dollar back and a written apology from the owner clearly stating that he was dihonest and he cheated me and that he won't cheat anyone again.

I walked into Subway with two of my friends and all of a sudden I am near to sitting on the floor because it was so wet. I didn't fall but I nearly did the splits. There were no wet floor signs posted anywhere. My friend, Scott, has pictures of the floor where I almost fell. The floor was so wet it left slide marks from my shoes as if someone took a wet mop across the floor.

I twisted my ankle pretty bad and the next day it felt like someone took a hammer to it.

On 2/21/08 at around 10:00 am, I was at the Subway store on 1811 Monocacy blvd in Frederick, MD 21702 phone 3013050106. I noticed a Banner sign that read "ALL 12" SUBS $5.00 ALL DAY EVERY DAY." I decided to order a 12" steak sub..nothing extra on it, assuming it would be $5.00. When the order was finished..the price cam to a whopping $7.94! Merchant ID 028100080983 Terminal ID 001.

At that point, I asked the merchant why the sub wasn't $5.00, and she replied, "this doesn't apply to steak subs." I was too embarrassed to cancel the order after she had gone through the trouble of making my sub. However, if I would have had a large family I was ordering for with me, I would have been extremely upset with the false advertising. I then came home and decided to email Subway Customer Service to report what I thought was misleading or false advertising. I explained the situation in an email dated 2/21/08. On 2/1/08, I received a form letter from in Subway Customer Service indicating that because Subway locations are individually owned and operated, they could not be responsible. Subway did not even offer an apology for this event.

I don't usually complain about companies, but I felt strongly that this was a scam on the part of Subway to advertise all 12" subs $5.00 with no exclusions, and then ring up a 12" sub for $7.94. Please investigate and stop this problem from happening to others.

I understand that Walmart in Fort Collins (store 2729) may not be responsible for the employee's at Subway that is located in their store; however, I do feel like they should be made aware of the terrible service I received there. I went in to buy a drink while waiting for family members to complete their shopping and was greeted by the rudest cashier I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. The time was 12:15 PM on 2/23/08. She had dark hair pulled back and wore glasses. I asked for a small drink and paid for it. Not being familiar with the procedure, I asked her where I could get my cup, and she just pointed without a word to cups that were stacked on the counter. I asked her which one was my choice, and again without a word, she just pointed. I asked her where drinks were, and she pointed again. No words. I asked her what choices they had to offer, and her remark at that time was: I don't know. Check for yourself.

every time we go in there, which is at least once a week, we get charged to much money and way to much taxes. For excample for a 5.00 sandwich we are beeing charged 5.88. Tax should be 35 cent not 88 cent. And everytime we have to go through with this and the owner knows excactly what he is doing, we have heard others complain to him also.

I have 5 full subway ticket coupons from eating many subway sandwiches. Everytime but one I have tried using them I have been told you cannot use them here as you did not buy your previous sandwiches here. I was once blatantly ripped off at a subway sandwich shop in Springfield Virginia. Then last week in Vegas i went to purchase a sndwich and noticed the price was $9 for a six inch sub a blatant rip off especially as a Mcdonalds franchise next door charged normal prices. These stamps are not honored at subways so from now on i will not eat there anymore.
