It's known to me that your store in high St Belfast was refusing to sell homeless people in the morning. This is the first stop for our guys sleeping on the streets in the mornings for a bit of warmth and a hot coffee. I had feedback from your FB page saying you are a friendly store and are not allowed to refuse anyone. I spoke to one of your managers (night time) and he said same thing...
From then I know of one guy still being refused and now I'm hearing they are being told they have 2 mins to eat their meal and drink their coffee... How can any of your staff pick on vulnerable adults if this continues? I'm going to the newspapers and Stephen Nolan as it seems to be an ongoing thing ... They are paying customers like anyone else and should not be discriminated against. Never have I been told I have 2 mins at a table with my meal. I think it's disgusting behaviour from your McDonalds team in Royal Ave Belfast.

We went to McDonald located at 1140 Ushy 441, Lauderhil, FL 33313. We ordered food and sat when a gang came inside of Mcdonald. They were loudly arguing and no one from the staff said something, instead they let these guys inside with no consummation. Why? The reason is because they were inside to steal person who pays. They stole my purse and inside of my purse, among other belongings, there was my key car which was also stolen. Finally, my husband was seating inside of the McDonald to watch the car while I went to my home for a spare key, and the manager came to distract my husband while at the same time they stole my car and had a crash at McDonald parking. The answer of McDonald is: "We have no liability if a group of person is arguing or steal something."
Small detail: cameras are not working and any employee took action? When I called 911 for help and asked for the address, McDonald employees who were in front didn't know the address!!! Who was protected? The gang or the person who consumes and pays????

I recently visited your store at 1050 s Main Ave Fallbrook CA 92028. Really I feel customer service is lacking very much at this location. They are very rude, and on top of that you don't always get what you order at the drive thru. This has happened on numerous occasions and I never complained. But I am fed up with it. This morning I ordered food in the drive thru and I asked, "What kind of smoothies you have?" and instead getting my question answered, the guy at the microphone laugh with a sarcastic way about it and raised his voice like saying "IT'S IN THE MENU".
I usually won't say anything but my daughter was next to me and I feel so embarrassed in front of my daughter and that's the reason I'm making this review. I feel that I'm not alone on this. You tread people like nothing, because you know that one way or another you always will make money with or without my business. THIS IS TOTALLY WRONG. I told my daughter that we will going to drive somewhere else and get breakfast because if I complained probably I will get something bad on my food and treated bad again.
I know there are some days that employees have a bad day, but for it to happen as often as it does, you have a problem there. I've always eaten at your restaurants, but I can go elsewhere and get treated better than I do here. I think you all should go to your restaurants and visit like you are a customer and see if you get treated as I was. I would really like to see this problem resolved at all locations. I can see why McDonald's has gone down in ratings and service.

I went through Mcdonald's drive thru to order food for my husband and son. We ordered triple cheeseburgers and went home to eat. My son bit into the burger and saw something black. He lifted the bun to find a broken black rubber gasket. I called the store to complain and the first thing I was told was "We don't have anything like that here" before they even saw it. They asked if I would bring it in so they could take a look at it and of all things asked if they could give me another burger. I told them I didn't want another burger as I am sure I won't be coming back there again. Then I drove back and showed them the piece.
Once again the first thing they said was "We don't have anything like that here". Then proceeded to keep the piece. They offered me another burger again and I told them they could at least refund me the price of the burger, and that we wouldn't be back. I had taken a picture of it and put in a complaint with corporate and they had the store manager call me about it. The picture someone told me said looked like the gasket that holds an ear plug in. That in itself is enough to make me gag as this was given to my CHILD. When I mentioned this to the manager, she told me they don't employ people with plugs.

I normally pay $1.92 but I was charged $2.34 instead.

Bloomington Indiana West Third Street, the most poorly managed and ill manner staff that one could experience. They chose Mar 11, 12th to close their only two stores in Bloomington, IN from 9 pm on the 11th till (so the sign read) 5 am on the 12th of March. Needless to say I was a faithful customer because it took me a very long time just to get them to listen and get my breakfast right. On to the story, SO I wait till 5 am and I am wondering like many circling customers in their cars waiting for them to open. I knocked on the door they ignored me.
Finally when an employee arrived for work to be let in, a young girl came to the door to let her in and I ask why haven't they opened yet? She stated they were not ready and I would have to come back later, they ended up opening 5:30 am which is not too bad except the damage was done by the rudeness and disrespect that she showed me by saying I was "banned" because I got upset about the failure on their behalf to better inform the public about the so called maintenance stand down. So I ask fellow customers to join me in boycotting McDonald's in an online blitz campaign against for their lousy service and lack of self control when handling customers.

McDonald's Sheridan drive near Hopkins and Evans Rd - Went on my lunch break. Food took about 10 minutes which is whatever but when I finally got it the first thing I noticed was the smell... it was horrendous! It smelled like old deep fryer oil. Asked for ketchup and got 2 packets that were stuck together with this sticky light brown stuff. So gross!! Then my double cheeseburger was cold like it had been sitting out for awhile. The cheese wasn't even melted. I've never had a worse experience at a McDonald's in my life. I am always very polite especially to people who are preparing my food so I have no clue why this happened but I definitely think it was done intentionally. Never going to McDonald's ever again. I was warned not to go to McDonald's by many and I learned my lesson the hard way. Going to Five Guys next time I need a quick burger.

I worked in mcdonalds as my first job, and let me tell you that people should be horrified! Mcdonalds only clean the day of mystery shop and when corporate visits. They wash the lettuce and tomatoes in the same sink that they wash the dirty mop to clean the floors! The smoothie and frappe machine has worms because they do not clean it! I remember drinking a smoothie and my manager and coworkers laughed at me because they said I drank worms. The next day I was sick throwing up. To make the french fries seem fresh they just redip them in the oil. They change the stickers on the parfait so it seems like it is not old. A few times burger meats or buns would fall on the floor and they would clean the dirt off of it and serve it to the customers.
Employees get the worst treatment and they change our hours! That's why it was so important to keep up with them because they would take us for granted. Customers would order a decaf coffee and they would serve them caffeinated coffee with water added to it. Mcdonalds is the worst place! I can't speak for other fast food restaurants but I'm sure they are all the same. Two days ago I was really hungry and I wanted something fast, I should've known not to order from mcdonalds but I did. I ordered snack wraps and extra chicken. The next day I threw up and now it is the second day I've been throwing up. I remember the chicken tasting extremely funny. I might've gotten food poisoning!

My daughter and I had recently encountered food poisoning "salmonella" from McDonald eating their McNuggets and McChicken sandwich last Thursday, Feb. 26th, 2015. I ordered a McNugget "Happy Meal" for my daughter and I ordered just the McChicken sandwich. The next morning at 4 am in the morning on Friday, my daughter vomited everywhere on the bed, on the floor, & in the bathroom. At first I thought she overate herself and the food didn't settle properly. All Friday at daycare, she continued to vomit and have diarrhea throughout the day. I had to rush to the babysitter to pick her up. On Saturday morning her condition didn't get any better, but gotten worst - she continued to vomit and have diarrhea every 5 mins and she looked dehydrated. She looked pale and weak. I also started to develop both vomiting and diarrhea myself.
I immediately took her to the walk-in-clinic that morning. I discovered that we both have "salmonella" poisoning from the doctor diagnosis and observation of us. On Monday, we didn't feel any better and I took a day off to care for my poor sick daughter and myself. On Tuesday I went to work, I decided to raise a complaint with McDonald's Head Office to let them know the "salmonella" food poisoning we both encountered. I spoke with a rep at the McDonald head office, she took my detail complaint and was apologetic. She said that someone from corporate will call me back within 3-5 business days. Are you kidding me??? My daughter's life and mine is a 3-5 business days follow up?? I was very disgusted and furious with that statement.
The girl then asked me "was there anything else I can do?" Yes there's something you can, pass this message to the corporate complaint manager that he/she better "hope and pray" that my daughter and I don't end up in the hospital, otherwise this will not end here. I will go above and beyond to get a call back and this issue dealt with. I still yet to receive a phone call back from the corporate complaint mgr. WHERE IS THE HUMAN COMPASSION AND PROFESSIONALISM HERE from a multi-millions or billions corporate??? None whatsoever!!!
Update: I finally received a call back from someone by the name ** from McDonald head office in Canada. She started off being very apologetic about our terrible food incidents that we recently encountered with from one of the McDonald restaurants last week. Also, stating that McDonald take all unhappy food experiences or food incident cases very seriously. Unfortunately, to her finding that there were no other report "salmonella" food poisoning cases being reported at that particular restaurant, therefore she can't do nothing for me.
I was shocked by her response. I told ** we were seen by a walk-in-clinic physician and the doctor has ruled out that what my daughter and I were experiencing was a high possibility of "food poisoning" known as salmonella from the Mcnuggets and Mcchicken sandwich we ate from McDonald's. She took our stool samples and we are still waiting for the results back. ** continued to ignore what my concerns were. She said that perhaps what we were experiencing could be a "stomach flu" outbreak that is going around. I reassured ** that what my daughter and I experienced weren't a stomach flu and the doctor wouldn't have taken our stool samples for testing if she thought we had the "stomach flu".
Again, ** is oblivious to my reasonings and continue to say there's nothing she can do for us as a "corporate" standpoint. Are you kidding me? Both my daughter's life and mine are 'WORTH' that little to address our "pain and suffering" we went through the past 6 days as not meeting the corporate standpoint. That we are still alive so, therefore our case aren't that important and get toss aside like the rest of other food poisoning cases that numerous unhappy consumers encountered nationwide???
What does it take to have this senseless, uncompassionate, and unprofessional billionaire corporate to WAKE UP and take some accountability, and responsibility and actions for their contaminated, mishandled food??? How many more complaints, unhappy consumers, and possibly deaths to have "McDonald" corporate to do something about it??? PLEASE WHOEVER IS READING MY consumeraffairs case, spread this message all around as far as it can go, to put a STOP to food poisoning from McDonald.
Help save our poor and vulnerable children, grandparents, dads, moms, aunts, businessmen, employees, etc. who go to these thousands of McDonald restaurants out there everywhere from consuming their "life threatening" fast food. If McDonald failed to stand behind their consumers and do the right thing, then at least we all can step up and do something for all mankind. JOIN ME to raise awareness globally to PUT A STOP to all contaminated food from McDonald Corporation. BRING AWARENESS = SAVE LIVES!!!

My boyfriend took them back and the manager inspected one of the chicken nuggets by splitting it in half and seemed disgusted herself. She gave us a refund out of her own pockets because she saw that the food was not edible.

I eat at McDonalds at least 2 or 3 times a week and I usually try to stay away from the one by my house because they've messed up on every order I have made, no matter what time of day it was (except for the total of 4 times). The reason why I know the exact amount of time is because it became so normal for them to mess up, I wanted to keep track. I have actually ordered a Bacon McChicken and it came back without the McChicken. When I took it up to the counter to get it fixed, the staff had no problem fixing it. But when I got it back, I opened it up and the chicken was there this time, but the bacon was not.
That's not my main issue with this McDonalds - my issue is anytime you order anything that is fried like chicken nuggets, McChicken, and fish it is always overcooked to the point where edges so hard, you can't eat it. So you try to take off the outer edge to save the middle and there's like nothing left. Or it's not overcooked but it comes back with grease that is almost the color of dirt and is so thick that if you were to squeeze the nugget, the grease would literally coat your fingers and would stay there and would be sticky and had a funny smell to it. And when I address the issue, I got every excuse under the sun except for the real reason. I've gotten "we're only allowed to change the oil once a week", "we have to strain the oil twice a week" and some other excuse that didn't even make sense.
So you get to the point where you think if I order it fresh, it should be ok. So you order and that didn't work either. It comes back hot as can be and as brown as a tree. Instead of the employees putting asked me or fresh, they put well done on it. I've called corporate numerous times and they sound very sympathetic, say sorry and they're going to fix it. They ask me for my phone number and address so they can mail out something and call me back and the only time I've ever heard anything back from them was the very first time I called. Other than that nothing. I don't know how much money I've wasted and how much food thrown away because even if I take it back to have it fixed, it comes back the same way or worse, so I actually started going to another McDonalds 2 miles away.
Lately I decided to give them a chance again and the last 2 weeks I have been there 5 times, and three of the five times and they messed up, and two of those orders were over $20. This last order I came in by myself and ordered a fish fillet meal with extra tartar sauce and please make it fresh. It came back brown as dirt and when I took it to the counter, they had no problem fixing it but I did hear the manager tell the register girl why she put well done on it. But that didn't matter because when I got it back, it was the same way again. I even have pictures of it now.

I don't ever complain but I found this ridiculous... STORE # 16759 NJ. I ordered for myself and kids. After I sat my kids down to a table I heard my order number. I collected my order and join my kids. As I was attending to my 2 year old, over my shoulder was the McDonald's employee reaching over to grab the sandwich my 4 year old was eating. My four year old quickly said "I'm sorry mom." thinking she did something wrong. The employee then said, "This was meant for the garbage, I'm sorry." Not in a polite manner.
With all sorts of things going through my mind because my child had started to eat the sandwich. I went to the counter, asked for the manager. The individual said she's the manager so I began to explain what had happened. The employee who grabbed the sandwich shouted at me saying she's the manager... Now she's trying to tell me she gave an extra sandwich. Now tell me... She could have simply brought this to my attention before taking the sandwich away from my child and putting it into the garbage in front of her.
Please note I did not check my order before all this happened because I was attending to my 2 year old. I just think that was an act of racism... Everyone in the restaurant was looking at me strangely. I am still trying to figure out who's the manager at that store. None of the employees had name tags but I was given a name on a piece of paper by the individual and she had the nastiest attitude towards me. It was definitely NOT a pleasant visit a McDonald's. I'm the owner of a business and I would never treat any of my clients and would not tolerate any of my employees to treat any of our customers with such behavior! Well we were in the car kinda passing food around and my baby handed his dad the nugget back. My baby can’t say anything but “dada” and a couple other things. Well I took a bite started chewing and something cut my mouth. I spit it out and it was a shard of bone!!! I would have gone back but we were an hr away already. But that was scary. You have also a Hispanic accent." She got mad and said, "I dont. I am sick." I said, "You should not be working" (who wants to be contaminate by ill staff working with food). After it, it became nasty.
I cancel the egg sandwich and only kept my previous coffee order earlier. When I went to the washroom, she had to stand behind the door. When I was into some personal (do i have to name that sort of business ) but apparently she was enjoining it because she refuse to leave me any discretion. Waiting with her stupid bloom ???? behind the tin door at 2 feet. Wow. When I mention it to the manager Vicky, she did not care at all. Did not get the point so I became vulgar from this nonsense and said, "do i need any witness when i clean my butt?"
I ask if we are dogs or what? It has seem I was the one being rude when they had little self observation and basic common sense. I so like the Mexican people in general. I will never again go to the McDonald’s on Sylvania Ave. Toledo, Ohio. I have lived over by this McDonald’s for the last 4 years and they always seem to mess up your order. (I only go there because my daughter loves the McNuggets). Anyways the last time I went there, which was January 24, I ordered my order I said 2 Large Cokes. They gave me 1 and a medium. I let that slide, but then they only gave me 1 4-piece nugget when I said 4 4-pieces.
So I told the lady and she said, "You only ordered 1." I said, "No. I ordered 4." She said, "You only paid for 1." I said, "Okay. Well can I pay for the other 3 now?" And she said, "No. You will have to go around back to the first window." Now why would I do that, so my other food could get cold more cold than it already is? Team members at McDonald’s need to care about customers. Is it a McDonald’s policy to be rude?

I have tried numerous times to speak with someone in charge of the restaurant located at 201 Rudy Circle Nashville Tn. It amazes me with all the technology today and the fact that one bad review can spread like fire that the owner and representatives have been so blase about the complaints and experience. The same store I have been to three times in the past two weeks. I have seen employees in tight inappropriate clothes, hanging out at the counter with friends whom I suspect are off duty employees and eat, verbal fights with the crew including the manager. The orders have been messed up all three times because the employees would rather interact with each other than with the customers. I have twice had an employee stop taking orders to communicate with the madness around the with their coworkers. I have seen employees come in from the outside, touch things under the counter, grab something out of someone's purse, eat and then hand food to customers - at no time did they wash their hands. Technically by McDonald's standards they should have at least washed their hands when they came back from break but this person chose to ignore it.
The food is wrong, cold, hard and believe it or not tastes raw. I have reached out three times and the first response was ok we will forward the response. I replied that I would like to speak with someone over the phone that is going to be handling the situation so I could elaborate since there is limited characters on twitter and the complaint form. No response. Then after the last visit I sent pictures and the response was that they were allowed to dress down (Sorry any other place would have fired them). It wasn't till I mentioned that I was going to contact the Board of health, let my fellow coworkers know, and post on all forums and blogs along with the social media that someone actually tried to call. I'm a vegetarian. I know i can't very well expect anyone to cater to me and I don't have a lot of options in my small Southern town. So for a treat, sometimes I order the Big Mac, no lettuce no meat. Simple right? Not for a McDonald's employee. Meat will be on it (only reason I don't pluck it off myself is because the cheese will come off). Buns so stale that it crunches under your fingers. If I ask for extra sauce they charge me, notwithstanding that I have no meat on the burger. I also hate how they randomly upsize your order (either the drink or fries) without telling you and without you asking.
Another thing I like, is the White Hot Chocolate. Everytime I order it (from 3 different locations), they give me freaking COFFEE. I don't know if they are illiterate, don't know the difference between cocoa and coffee beans, or simply don't care. But when I have to return, I ask if they will give me another or make my medium drink a large. Nope. They just shrug their shoulders and say 'sorry'.
I asked for a manager one day. It was cold and rainy and my day was already hectic. I was polite, sir/ma'am, thank you'd in the drive through- get all the way back to work (10 min away) and coffee. So I asked, I mean do I get a refund or anything and he had the most vacant expression on his face. He just kept muttering "I'm thorry, thorry"
McDonald's doesn't care. You fill out their stupid survey, no one follows up. If they wonder why their revenue is down, because you have unintelligent and/or slack people working for them. They just DO NOT care about messing up orders.
I posted my complaint on facebook and one of my friends replied "they deserve 15$/hr". I used to be all for that, but with the work ethic most people display, not at all....more like they deserve to be fired. I'm DONE with mcdonald's. Once I was hired, they had me take training for three days. The first day, I was put in between two coworkers to learn how to make the burgers and which wraps and boxes certain burgers go in. I couldn't hear what they were saying very well due to noise in the restaurant. They expect you to remember every single thing in less than three hours! The next day, I was put at the fry station after two tutorial videos on fries. I was actually doing fine until this rude and short shift manager told me to hurry up and drop some more fries. When I did, she claimed i fixed too much and as a result, they had to throw some away because you can't serve them to customers if they have been sitting there for more than 7 minutes.
The managers there are not very friendly, and they DISCOURAGE you instead of ENCOURAGE you to work and smile. Your first three days there, they act like you have been working there for YEARS. In general, they never gave me the opportunity to learn all the areas such as the cash register, and drive thru. The training isn't really thorough. Their excuse for this was "I was too slow." Dear McDonalds, we quit you after you renovated your stores to look like a plastic play room for kindergartners. Seating was super uncomfortable for grownups and the whole eating experience was cold and fake. I thought I was sitting on throw away furniture. NO CHEESE, NO SALT, WELL DONE were simple things they couldn't accomplish. If it wasn't on the menu board, they couldn't figure it out! And, how about: take my order with a smile instead of a blank look from an employee who definitely wishes they were someplace else. The only friendly faces were when the employees were interacting with each other behind the counter. They have no PEOPLE skills and really no manners either. Naturally, that is a percentage; not all employees are that bad.
Now let's get to the McDonald perception. Stop advertising as if eating there is a party. Try presenting yourself as a relaxing family or twosome date-like event. Or, that much needed moment for some quiet time to get a cup of coffee to escape the hub-bub of city life. Children aren't the only customers you want. The parents have the wallet so make them want to be there too. No good eating experience is fun with loud noise and screaming unruly people. And for God's sake, remodel your stores again. No one wants to sit on a backless stool at a counter with complete strangers next to you. You caved to the foreign look of minimal and cheap looking decor and if you thought your consumers would like this change... YOU WERE WRONG!!!
You can respond if you wish. An answer might make me more likely to visit your store again. We actually liked the food. We just couldn't ever get what we ordered without problems. If you can't ever get my order right - it is an uncomfortable environment and service sucks, it isn't worth going to McDonalds.

McJob. Spell check tells me it is spelled incorrectly, but according to the Merriam Webster dictionary it is correct. That's right; according to the dictionary it is a real word thanks to McDonald's poor employment ethics. I understand cooking and serving fast food is not such a challenging job to ensure high pay and future prospects, but the company's actions in my own experience has shown little to no value for employees.
I worked as a manager for a year before being given the opportunity to earn a raise for that position. I failed the test because I was physically helping my crew instead of standing on the side and giving directions when I was two employees short, yet when the supervisor had his test myself and many other employees were called in, something that rarely ever happened. It was a joke. We were literally bumping elbows, it was so crowded. Imagine the assembly line. One man toasting buns. One putting on condiments. One putting on toppings. One putting the meat on the bun. And another wrapping it.
The guy putting on the condiments was the corporate Spanish translator for HR. Why he was even there made no sense at all. I repeatedly witnessed other managers sending hardworking, honest employees home against their will because they were not able to complete the orders as quickly due to a handicap. This one gentleman whom suffered from multiple sclerosis had a wife and kids. It's hard enough having to work a dead end job to take care of your family because of a health defect, much less getting sent home early instead of the lazy teenager who is begging to go home because he/she doesn't want to be there. For a company that prides itself on its integrity, quality, and its generosity to the community it's unfair and dishonest treatment toward employees puts their claim to shame.

It was mild and pleasant tasting. You could drink 4 cups of it and not be bothered with running to the restroom. The McCafe coffee they sell now is burnt tasting and bitter. They are using cheap beans and over-roasting them to hide the taste just like Starbucks. They want to charge you an extra dollar to hide the taste with milk and sugar. The stuff is diuretic. After a cup I have to go every 100 miles. It is worse than drinking a quart of beer. Bring back real coffee.
Their fries used to taste good. They had a potatoey salty taste with a pleasant tasting oil. Now they taste burnt, with an unpleasant oily taste that lingers. They went from being the best to the worst fries in fast food. The bacon clubhouse burger is a good new product. I would like to see a real hamburger deluxe. The QLT was close, but no cigar. Burger King Whopper is still the way to go for hamburger deluxe. The Sausage McMuffin with egg is still a very good breakfast sandwich. The chicken stuff is second class. Go to KFC if you want that. I am an employee of McDonald’s in Helena, AL. I was injured on the job almost 2 months ago (8/26/14), I still haven't received a check from workman's comp because my employer refuses to send my necessary paperwork to my adjuster. I was also told upon returning to work (10/17/14) that I need to dye my hair (I dyed it a dark natural red) because it’s not my natural hair color and it has to be black or brown. Also, I have every black co-worker, store and general manager constantly giving racist comment to those of us who are white. They also show favoritism towards blacks and blames the only 4 white people for jobs undone when it is on cameras that we do.
One incident I was taking money at the first window and the lady wanted to pay partial with a gift card and exact change for the rest and she heard my general manager yell across the store "What is taking her so long with that order?" She also heard and saw the co-worker who came and stood in front of my window (in view of the customer) and yelled at me "What's taking you so long with that order?" I don't suggest anyone ever work for McDonald’s. You will get mistreated, and disrespected. I will be calling corporate, confronting my store owner on how he has his employees treated, and be talking to a lawyer about a discrimination lawsuit, and getting my workman's comp money they owe me but refuse to cooperate with.

The snack wraps that costs about $1.79 is the worst thing that have ever touched my mouth. The chicken tender that they use is ATROCIOUS. It has a rubbery raw texture that should not be consumed. I'm surprised that the FDA even approved it. The first time I had it was just terrible but I was guessing maybe it was that particular establishment that did not prepare the chicken properly, but yesterday I tried to give it another chance at a different McDonalds and it was the same fiasco. The snack wrap left me with a "stomach virus" type symptoms. I do not recommend it to anyone, honestly the only great thing Mcdonalds has is its Southwest Salad. Everything else is just okay or mediocre but the snack wrap is a nightmare. I'm getting chills just by the thought of it.

Amazingly, the McDonalds at 600 Saint Andrews Road in Columbia remains open. How I do not know, but perhaps is its great, heavily traveled location. Here are a few of the problems I have encountered: Mello Yello drinks that are nothing but carbonated water. A McDouble with no beef patties, just a dab of mustard and ketchup. No straws or napkins. Wrong sauces for the chicken nuggets. Repeatedly the ice cream machine is out of order or they are out of chocolate ice cream mix.
One of the problems that sticks in my mind is that during a 20 piece nuggets promotion the drive-in clerk informed that they were "out of stock!" But, I could order something else. Surely the manager of the unit could have transferred some of the frozen nuggets from another location. Or, the time I ordered a 20 piece nuggets and I received four four-piece boxes--I was shorted four nuggets!
The most recent incident was when I ordered the 10 piece McNuggets value meal for my nine year old daughter, who ordinarily loves them. I found them along with the fries in the refrigerator. I asked her why she did not eat them and she said they were too hard and crunchy and the fries tasted old. Also, the outside playground was taken down months ago, but at least they could have put down some indoor-outdoor carpet and benches, like the superior location on Corley Mill Road in Lexington has done. Though the Columbia location is very close to my house, I have to drive to the aforementioned Lexington unit, many miles away, to have a sensational experience.

When I say full of flies there were only like 7 but that is plenty. I used 2 manage a restaurant when I was 18, so it was many yrs back but we never had bugs in the building. I blame this on management...... plus they handed my food 2 someone else then tried 2 give it 2 me. My last McDonalds restaurant experience I'm Not Loving it!!! McDonalds normally excels in my opinion in food consistency. However, they obviously don't have the same consistency in their customer service and management training. On Sunday, October 5, 2014 at approximately 6:20 PM, I drove through the McDonalds drive-thru at their 1499 Russell Cave Road, Lexington, KY 40511 location. The drive-thru service was quick. I ordered a large sweet tea, half-cut with lemon as I do no fewer than 5 to 6 times a week. I paid at the first window and was quickly given my drink at the second window and off I went.
Approximately a mile down the road, I removed the straw from the package placed it in the drink and proceeded to take a big sip. It immediately burned my throat and tasted worse than burned coffee grounds. It was extremely dark to the point when I moved the liquid around in the glass it almost stained the white cup it was in and smelled extremely strong again like burned or scorched coffee. I turned around and went back to the location to first try to figure out what it was that I had just consumed and to get the proper drink I had requested. When I got to the restaurant, there were approximately 4 other people in the lobby, two of which were complaining. One gentleman proceeded to tell me that he was in the store for 7 minutes before someone even acknowledged him which I would be somewhat apt to believe since he had a timer up on his android phone that he showed me as he stated this fact.
Finally someone asked if they could help me and I proceeded to tell them and show them the drink I had received. She quickly took the drink, told me it would be no problem and started to get me a new drink asking if I wanted two lemons in it as well. This is when everything turned upside down and very dark! A person that I later come to find out was the manager came over and asked what the problem was. I proceeded to tell her the exact same story I had already told the young lady that was pouring me another drink and was told by her that they had been serving the tea all day and have had no complaints, in the most arrogant and condescending voice you could imagine!
Perhaps, I should not be so sensitive but that sounded to me that you are telling me that my opinion is unimportant and the fact that I would turn around and burn more gas than the $1.06 the tea even cost was stupid and I should have just kept it. As I looked around to the other customers in the lobby that heard what she said and her tone of voice they looked as bewildered and bumfuzzled as I did. I told this ** the manager, exactly how her commented sounded and she was very unforgiving about her comment and the attitude in which it was given. I would have let it go at that point however when the tea was brought back to me the young lady that was helping me which was very courteous suggested that I taste it to make sure it was acceptable before obviously leaving for a second time. Which was smart and was much appreciated especially, because when I tasted the tea it was identical to the first one I had received if not worst only difference being it was not as sweet.
When I asked to speak to the manager ** tells me she is the manager and again they have received no complaints about the tea all day. I suggested to her to taste it for herself now that it was obvious that it wasn't just what was in my glass but the whole batch obviously had problems. She then told me, "I don't drink tea!" So, I'm not a coffee drinker either but if my customer told me there was a problem with the coffee I think I would be more than willing to either (A) Taste it. (B) Have someone taste it or (C) Take them on their word, dump it and prepare a fresh batch. Her unwillingness to give any options other than to make me feel like it was me with the problem or somehow my taste buds are at fault because I was obviously the first person to complain about this batch of tea really again puzzled me. I really didn't want my money back, I just wanted a drink that didn't taste like rancid swamp water! She rudely gave me my $1.06 back and in the most patronizing way possible told me to have a nice day!
When I asked her "why are you being so rude?", with two other customers now chiming in coming to my defense about how pitiful that location was and how their current visit was less than stellar as well, she told me to leave HER store before she called the police on me. REALLY!!! You are going to call the police on me because I'm expecting to be treated like a human being in a retail establishment that I just gave you my business? I told her that I have a few friends that have worked at McDonalds Corporate office and I know this is not how they train their managers. She proceeded to tell me she had 20 years with the company again as if to say "I know what I'm doing" and with 20 years letting me know she was invincible and untouchable to any type of coaching or reprimand and I guess making clear she can treat McDonalds customers however she chooses.
So perhaps she was just having a bad day, perhaps this bad attitude is the reason that after 20 years you are still a store manager which she obviously disliked being. All I know is I took my $1.06 and drove right down New Circle Rd. to the McDonalds at 1114 New Circle Road, Lexington, KY 40505-4137 and guess what I ordered? A large sweet tea, half-cut with lemon. How did it taste? Exactly like the no less than 70 - 80 I have purchased this year alone which as always, I enjoyed immensely. I don't know what ** problems are with McDonalds or their customers but you can guarantee I will never EVER be back to that location again. EVER!!! Did I say NEVER? Just wanted to make sure you caught that!!! I'll just drive down the street to another McDonalds or just go across the street and get a Coke from TACO BELL!
I have known many people that have worked for McDonalds and I know that they spend a lot of money on the training and personal development of their managers. However I do recognize that sometimes a few bad apples make it into the box and hopefully are removed before turning the other good apples bad. I suggest you closely review this apple or at the very least I suggest a few refresher courses at the Hamburger University to help her get her act together before she runs off any more customers. Many people would love to work for arguably the best fast food restaurant in the world and would appreciate the customers that have and continue to make it great! I think this employee should take some ownership in how she single handedly took an almost infallible system and broke it because of her own attitude and ego. McDonalds Im not loving it!!!

I am in the store sometimes 5 plus times a week to purchase cheeseburgers for my dog, who is dying from bone cancer. Each time I pay and or I receive my order. I hear such expressions as Here you go or enjoy your afternoon/evening. Or sometimes NOTHING: just my order shoved into my window.
I am asking TOO MUCH from this BUSINESS to reply with a simple THANK YOU for my business. I have even endured watching an employee name ** being so disrespectful to an Elderly (probably 80ish male) by tossing the cheeseburger ($1.06) at this customer and then while this Elderly Man asked for a water cup, ** showed how upset he was to have to reach in the back of his station to retrieve a water cup for the very pleasant Gentleman. Yes, I spoke up, asked for Management in front of other customers, and was told, she the day mgr. would handle this.
SERIOUSLY~~ if I choose to go public with these issues, is this truly the images you are wanting for McDonalds? I am truly sadden that I am having to write AGAIN regarding this issue (issues). If I go through this McDonalds drive through and or inside for an order and I do not hear a simple THANK YOU, I promise you I will discuss these issues with our local news media for a start.

The cashier started to be rude saying that she can do that so I said to her, "But you can do void." She call the manager to do a void. While we were waiting for our order we were busy chatting and laughing with my friend.
So the cashier thought we were laughing at her so she told the manager that we are laughing at her. After we collect our food the manager told us that what we are doing its wrong why we are laughing at the cashier. We try to explain to her that we are not laughing at her so I said to the manager, "Anyway a customer is always right," to avoid her and when she reply she said, "That's **." So I left the McDonald's. She follow me again outside. As I was leave, she keep on insulting me again with my private and it was full outside and inside. I told her I will hit her if she keep on following me and insulting me. When I get to work I called their McDonald's customer care to open a case which was very helpful.

Then when I arrived up at the window they asked me again and I rolled down my back windows to let them see there were three in my car. The woman at the window then told me they could not give coffee to my teenage daughter and her friend since they were not adults. I proceeded to tell them there is no indication on their advertisements stating you have to be over 18.
The woman went and got the manager of the store who came to the window and stated we do not give coffee to children. It is only for older people. I let her know that there was nothing stating it was for adults only. Then in a judgmental, disrespectful tone of voice she said, "you give your children coffee?" and I said "yes at times." She handed me the coffee with a scowl on her face. I have never had a restaurant try to tell me what I can and can't give my child. They are not the parent. On Tuesday night September 16, 2014 I drove through the drive-thru and ordered a large fries and drink, plus a bacon clubhouse burger and crispy chicken clubhouse sandwich from the McDonald at 2845 Fish Hatchery Rd Fitchburg, WI. I used a McDonald promotional coupon that offered buy one get one free so I got the bacon clubhouse burger for free because it was slightly cheaper than the chicken sandwich.
I came home and was really hungry so I ate the fries and shared a little bit of the burger with my girlfriend. Mistake number one was not checking the burger for bad lettuce, and jumping into eating the burger right away because I was so hungry after my three hour evening class. After eating the burger and having a bad after taste of rotten earthy veggies, I checked the crispy sandwich to see how the lettuce is like before putting it away as my lunch for the next day.
To my surprise! The two pieces of lettuce were so rotten and gross. It was completely unacceptable that the McDonald used rotten lettuce on my sandwich and I'm positive on the burger I ate. I was very grossed out and felt like the burger I ate was going to come back through my mouth. I have seen bad/rotten lettuce in my McDonald sandwiches and burgers in the past, but never as rotten like the two pieces in the crispy chicken clubhouse sandwich I recently ordered. On top of that I cannot prove whether the burger I ate had lettuce just as bad, except for the off and slightly earthy taste and after taste following eating the burger.
Since my concern was that I just shared and ate a burger that potentially had rotten lettuce and COULD HAVE eaten the chicken sandwich with the two rotten pieces of lettuce. I took pictures of the chicken sandwich and went back right away to the McDonald to show them the chicken sandwich and rotten lettuce. When I got there and showed the guy who took my order and handed me my food, he did not say anything to me, but turned back facing the kitchen and spoke Spanish to the cook. He then walked back to go through the black trays searching for the lettuce. From my view angle, he tossed out the lettuce from one of the black trays on the shelf and pulled out a new unopened bag of lettuce and put it on the same tray that he just tossed out the bad/rotten lettuce.
They made me another crispy chicken bacon clubhouse sandwich, but since I felt so grossed out after eating the burger I told him I just want my money back and need to talk to a manager. He said he is one of the two managers on duty and then apologize to me that they cannot refund me because I used a coupon and ate the burger already. To me this is really not fair because I did eat the burger and it could have been made with the same rotten lettuce because they use the same type of lettuce to make the bacon clubhouse burgers and sandwiches. I then asked him to see if he would eat that chicken sandwich with the rotten lettuce and he said no he would not. After that I told him it was not right and a health hazard for using rotten lettuce and if I get sick from eating the burger it's on MCDonald. Since he refused to refund me he instead offered the new sandwich made with "fresh" lettuce and a card for a free burger or sandwich of my choice. I refused the sandwich and took the card before leaving the McDonald.
One of my main concern was the potential health hazard of eating the rotten lettuce and just the fact that I was not given the decency I deserve as a customer who frequented the McDonald chains for their fries. What if they served that batch of rotten lettuce to children and elderly whose immune system and stomach might not be able to handle the potential contamination? Coming from a quality background in medical devices, the owner/manager of this McDonald should retrain their employee about respecting customers and the health hazard of serving rotten food.
Overall, I was just not happy with the thought of potentially having eaten rotten lettuce and need to know why they would serve me such spoiled food. I felt that my voice as a customer was not listened to and am worried for the risk of people getting seriously sick by eating rotten lettuce or other spoiled food from this McDonald. If anyone have had any bad experience with McDonald I would love to hear about and be provided with better information of how to approach incidents like this in the future. Thanks for reading.

Whilst waiting I had lost two spots in the line and understandably I was frustrated, so I told ** that you should put a sign up. Not once did I use offensive language or give any reason to be humiliated in the way I was. ** then loudly responded, "What did you just say?" I am a paying customer and she had no reason to question my reasonable request to put up a sign on a non-operational till. As a matter of principle, I responded to ** saying, "You heard what I said." This is where ** humiliated me in front of the entire establishment.
** then in a loud aggressive manner told me, "If you want a sign up, write it yourself." Understandably, I was deeply offended by this public humiliation and responded, "Excuse me, madam. That is your job not mine! You work here? Why would I write the sign?" ** then yelled at me to leave the establishment! As I felt I had done nothing wrong I refused telling ** that you will have to call the police. ** then said, "We will", then stormed to the main counter and began talking to **, pointing at me in front of all the other staff and customers.

I feel ridiculed and sick to the stomach for the way I was treated. I have been coming to the Queanbeyan McDonald's since I was a kid, almost twenty years, religiously! I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars at your store including my family.
I then went to the counter to discuss this with the manager and before I go on I would like to say that ** handled himself in a very professional manner and he should be commended. As I was just humiliated in front of the entire store I wanted to make a complaint to ** though I found it difficult because she came back over and antagonized the situation, making snide comments whilst I was trying to discuss the matter with **. ** threatened me with the police! Like I was some kind of criminal! And then had the nerve to lie, saying, "I never said I would call the police." I did say you would have to call the police if you want me to leave and as I said she responded with we will.
** in his professionalism tried to resolve the situation and served me immediately which I appreciated as I was feeling very embarrassed, though **'s intimidation and bullying didn't stop there. I went and retrieved my coffee and thanked the other woman for making it though as I was leaving I could hear ** making snide comments about me as I was leaving, to customers! This is unacceptable! I have eaten McDonald's in hundreds of stores over three continents and have never once experienced such horrendous behavior from a staff member ever!

I will be sending this letter to my solicitor to fair work to the consumer affairs department and even to current affair; I will be sending this letter to anyone and everyone I can! I will begin an online campaign! This was a defamation of character. On 7/2/2014 I went to McDonald's drivethru to order some food. After ordering I paid and sat there and waited for my food which seemed to be at least 20 mins, don't know why so long because inside dinner was closed and I was only one in drive thru. When I got home first I noticed my fries were cold, not like they were cooked and just sat there for too long, more like they were just thawed out, so I was hungry and just put them in our stove anyway. After that I got my sandwich, a quarter pound deluxe, looked at it and seen it was made from straight garbage literally, the lettuce was gross looked like it sat in the hot trash for a week, the tomato and pickles too. The meat was not hot. It made me sick just looking at it.
By that time my pregnant girlfriend and son already ate theirs which was just a cheese burger and a sausage sandwich which didn't have lettuce or tomato on it but they later on felt sick. Son was up sweating and complaining of stomach aches all night. When I noticed my sandwich, I took pictures and went back up there to talk to the manager on duty that night and show him the food. You can see it was literally garbage and I know he already knew what happened. I went back the next day to speak to a day manager and my girl also went up there a little later to complain and see why and what was going to be done about us being served straight garbage. They didn't seem like there was a problem but I want charges filed.
They offered another sandwich or money back which I didn't want the money. I wanted someone fired and I'll never in my life eat McDonald's again after I was served that gross trash. I filed a complaint on their website and they just wanted me to go back up there to talk to the manager I already talked to and she didn't think there was a problem then and totally just blow us off. When my girl went up there to complain, she said they just looked at her rude and that's what they did to me too. I really am upset about this. I got pics and video I posted on Facebook right after it happened. I put the video on YouTube. I want something done about this. I feel me and my family were totally disrespected when we got the food and when we went to complain. Can someone please help get something done about this? Thank you..

I can't wait to get home to eat my burger - love bacon. Well I get back to my friend's house and go to eat my burger and no bacon. I'm so angry. I don't understand how your employees forget bacon on the burger that comes with it and says the name on it so I ask for $2.69 Back and a free burger, not the whole $8.16. The rest of the order was fine but y'all tell me no I can rather have my money back or a new burger, so I get loud and start saying bad words because I'm extremely mad. Why do I have to do it their way when they didn't do it my way?
The Customer is always right. And on top of that, they belittled me and laugh at my face so I make an even bigger scene, get louder and start cussing cause I feel disrespected and feel made fun of cause I'm mad about them forgetting bacon. I came from East Dallas to visit my best friend. I'm starving and go to McDonald's happy and being nice, say my order. Employees was amazing, go home and then I get mad. Got to go back cause y'all forgot the bacon that comes on it. All the work I had to do to go through all this is not even right. I just want y'all to make it fair. Y'all wasted my time, turned my happiness into madness. Ruined my whole day because y'all forgot my bacon and now I want my $2.69 back and a free burger. That's all I ask. Thanks.

My family was returning home after a long (6 hour) road trip. We stopped to get our 3 kids happy meals at McDonald's so that we wouldn't have to cook when we got home. We ordered 3 happy meals - 1 with a hamburger and 2 with chicken nuggets. When we got to the window, the lady handed us 2 juice boxes. My husband said, "We had 3 happy meals with juice boxes." The lady at the window shrugged her shoulders and said, "Well, I only have you down for 2." My husband said, "Can we have 3? I ordered 3." The lady said no - she just had us down for 2.
We asked for a manager. Another girl came to the window & we explained to her what had just happened. She said, "What do you want me to do?" At this point, I took off my sunglasses and looked at the woman from the passengers seat and said - ARE YOU KIDDING ME? The girl said, "I'll make you another one." She returned with 3 happy meal bags and another juice box. We got home and the kids took their happy meal bags inside to eat while my husband and I unloaded our luggage. Then, my 4 year old said, "Wait there is just barbecue sauce in my nugget box!"
My other son said also - "Hey! I didn't get any nuggets!" Then, they both (hungry) started to cry. My 3rd son (who'd order the hamburger) said, "There is sauce all over the inside of my happy meal bag!" I called the McDonald's and asked to speak with a manager. A young man said he was the manager and I told him what had just happened. He argued with me about it! He said he was certain the girls didn't do it on purpose (last time I checked the BBQ sauce at McDonald's comes in a packet, which has to be opened if you are going to empty its contents into a chicken nugget box).
He said he could replace the meals. There was no way I was going to go back to that place after finally making it home after a 6 hour road trip. I don't trust that place - I wouldn't be surprised if they also spit in there. I am so appalled by the service I just received! And never in my 33 years have I EVER experienced that type of sabotage at a McDonald's. Who would mess with a kid's food like that?!? We are never going there again!

I came in to McDonald's to refill a drink. It happened that I was on the phone for business. I work at Spring Arbor University and visit the McDonald's at least once a day. As I stated, I refilled a cup that I brought in, to save cups, then before I could walk up to the counter and pay, Dan RUDELY and LOUDLY said, "YOU NEED TO PAY FOR THE TEA." I whispered to him that I was, but I was finishing up a call. I stayed in the restaurant until my call was almost completed and then walked out to my car to get my wallet. At that time Dan yelled again, "HEY!" When I returned with my wallet in my hand, Dan said, "CAN YOU GET IN LINE AND PAY FOR YOUR DRINK!"
This entire time, I was on the phone and not going anywhere, just finishing up a business call. The advertising agency on the line said to me, "Oh, you need to go? It sounds like you are busy. We can finish up this call later." I was waiting for that call all day! How RUDE and unprofessional of your manager to TELL me what to do! I work at the local university. I live in the community. Trust me, people are going to know about this. The community is already upset with the slow service and increased prices.
I want an apology from Dan and I want to be compensated for the embarrassment he caused me in front of my other community members who were in the restaurant at the time. So UNPROFESSIONAL and EMBARRASSING. I am an upstanding member of this community.

I ordered a number one with a medium Orange Juice yesterday, but received a small. When I inquired as to if the small drink I received was a medium, the attendant replied small comes with it and she went about her business as I sat there in my car, then she looked at me as if do you need anything else so I drove on. I have gotten this order before at other McD's in the past (such as the Sugarhouse Location) with no problem. I then got to office of employment and filled a customer complaint form for McDonald's and decided to go into the store today to see if I could get my meal with a medium Orange juice. I was able to with a different attendant who was more than courteous.
However, the lady that assisted me yesterday saw me and smirked at me within no time. Many of the employees were staring at me and made me feel uncomfortable. I just moved into the neighborhood and would like to visit this store more often but if they are going to treat their customers as if they are trash, then I feel it is my duty to say something about it to the people that matters. I make more money than most if not all of these people and I will not stand by and be treated like some sort of vagrant and not say something about.

I did not know it came with cheese because I have gotten a mcdouble with no cheese before without telling them I didn't want cheese. My point is the cashier was rude and even snapped back at me so I asked for the manager and she handled it. Ordering food shouldn't have to be complicated. I have made a number of complaints to McDonalds about their faulty coffee cup lid design. The opening is too large, causing a person to press their lips tighter against the lid to keep the coffee from spilling out the edges. It is not only the size of the opening that is faulty, but also the angle of the surface you press your lip against to 'seal' the situation. Pressing your lower lip against this lid with hot coffee in the cup is problematic. I have on several occasions spilled coffee down my chest and nice white dress shirts.
I have complained a number of times to managers of their stores, hoping it would get back to a higher authority...no such luck. I then sent them several complaints by 'feedback' via email. I got one response back that they would pass it along to a higher authority. When I tried to subsequently suggest they have a look at the Starbucks lids, I was met with total silence. Do I have to file suit to get their attention....maybe!! Anyone else experience this problem.

COMPLAINT DON'T SUITS McDonald's India. STILL A LOT ARE HERE NOW. I have been visiting Mcd daily (except Sunday) since one and half a year, at the elements mall Jaipur location. And I use to have large EVM with extra McVeggie and a puff, for a long time to spend we go for more stuff. Staff use to know us very well. A few days back I bought a pizza McPuff, a large fries and a soft serve with chocolate topping. The topping was not at all up to the mark. When I asked the counter boy about the topping and the quantity of fries, the man with dark green shirt (might be floor manager, with a name tag Vivek or something, will post his name and photo as well by today) replied very rudely that we serve like this only, it might be you got extra before. I was like pissed with that behaviour. The place I was sitting at was having a leakage.
Yesterday I ordered two McVeggie, two Large Coke and a puff. The counter boy billed me a single McVeggie, a puff and two large coke. The bill was 251. The screen was not showing anything. The boy asked me to pay 351. I was sure that bill cannot be this much. Before making him sure that I ordered two McVeggie, I asked for the bill (as that counter boy never use to provide the bill and never ever the screen on the client side use to show anything). The bill total was 251. I was totally pissed this time and asked him that if the bill 251 is then how can you ask me to 351 and you were providing me a bill as well, before I go a further discussion.
The man in the dark green shirt (same as last time), with a very rude voice replied me that it’s your duty to collect the bill. And it happens that the counter boy miscalculates the total amount (here, when the total use to show in the billing machine the how is it possible). I was totally pissed now, I asked for the feedback/complaint form, but he provided me a suggestion form with no use I guess. When I left the counter, one of the guy commented me from back DHANYAVAAD and all of them were giggling. There was no other manager or someone to complaint with. I was so pissed that I just ate McVeggies and left my both cokes and puff and left the store. You can visit the store and you will find lot of flies disturbing you and other tiny insects on the mirror side.
HERE I WANT AN ANSWER. IF I AM OPTING McDonald's to go for a meal and paying a good amount, DO I DESERVE THIS. Even here comes a point When a daily visiting customer gets a service like this then how long will McDonald's Brazil or McDonald's UK or McDonald's Italia or wherever it is, will go with its service after coming to such a name and level. McDonald’s authority should go for the footage at yesterday between 6:00PM-6:20PM and check for this complaint is genuine or not. I was wearing a black Nike t-shirt printed Barca Just Do it on it.

I drove back up there, get so tired of order not being right from the Highway Six and Bissonnet Houston, Tx location it's becoming sicken, went back, drove thru. Was told I have to come in, didn't want to do that. I have to admit I was very irate couldn't believe an wrong order again. The employee was a manager or crew leader named Mat. He offer me an apple pie. Don't want that. Just want good service.
Think since new building, it has done something to the employee (he he) can't get simple orders right. I ask Mat if I could have my money and the burger for my inconvenience, said no. That made me even more upset. It was a dollar burger. The way I see it the apple pie and burger cost same amount of money. Now I off the roof telling them how incompetent they are and again I off the roof. One might wonder why is she so mad, but it goes way past today. Mat throw burger on counter and at first refusing to give me another bag. After putting burgers in bag, I snatch the bag with everything I had instead of letting me walk out, Mat has something more to say.
We both exchange words. The employee came through the door acting like he wanted to hit me. I invited him to act on what he was feeling. Told him please hit me. He continue to walk closer and another employee had to jump in front of him pushing him back through the door. I also reminded Mat of what he told me earlier, camera on us and I will be filing a complaint on him. Also stated to him how I felt threaten. And told Mat "You need customer service skill. This is not the way to handle angry customer. You and I both could have gotten hurt over a dollar burger."

McDonald's does not let employees change their food handling protective gloves when they leave their work station. They use these same protective gloves to wash tables out in the front part of the restaurant with cleaning solvents and handle trash containers and bins. Go outside and clean parking lot and area, clean bathrooms, and also go to store room and return with boxes. Then go right back to the work station handling food. Employees have told me on several occasions that they cannot change their food handling protective gloves because it is a waste of money according to McDonald's. Employees have also told me that as long as they have the food handling protective gloves on they cannot contaminate the food they are handling because they have their gloves on; it does not matter what and where they go with these gloves on!
McDonald's store managers have told me that the McDonald's trainers from corporate McDonald's in checking out their stores, the French Fry station person has to slide their bare fingers into the medium and large French Fry sleeves to get the sleeve out of the storage racks! If this station person does not do this, there are points subtracted from this corporate inspector. They cannot afford to lose points when this inspector comes into the restaurant for a surprise unannounced inspection. The inspector does their first part of the inspection before they announce that they are there to perform an inspection.
I have been safe serve certified as manager/owner for several years and have graduated culinary school and have been involved in the food industry since 1970. I told her my choice of drink and at the window after paying my total I asked her if she could let me know how to put a customer complaint to which she only said "You can speak to my manager. She's at the other window" and then she just simply shut the window. I told her that I have intentions of submitting an online complaint to which she had nothing else to say. I just ignored him and walked up to place my order. Next thing I know he is arguing with my daughter. I told him he needs to back off or I will get a manager. He continued arguing with her and I get mad at him and tell him to shut up or I will call for a manager.
Finally a manager and assistant manager show up. They had been sitting at a table only eight feet away and didn't get up until the altercation got loud. They listened to my daughter tell what was going on and the other man told them he didn't do anything. Both of them just walked away and the man started up again. I went to the defense of my daughter and things got louder. Then the assistant manager got up and accused me of being loud and offensive and he would't allow it. I told him I was a regular customer there and I shouldn't be treated this way. He just ignored me so I told him I'm leaving and don't expect me to come back. She as well refunded my money for the sandwich. Another employee brought my sandwich out when it was done approximately 15 minutes later and said for me to check the steak to be sure it was cooked. I opened the bagel to check it and before I could even check the steak I dropped the sandwich on its wrapper because there was hair inside my sandwich. I got my things and left and I will never go back to that location again.
The employees didn't look very clean and the tables and floors were a mess. A guy came out while I was sitting there with my grandmother to mop the floors. Mind you there were people there and children moving around and he mopped the floors along the whole one side of the restaurant using excessive water and did not put a wet floor sign out to warn anyone. He didn't sweep the floor before mopping it either. There was a young boy about 7 years old walking fast toward this area beside where I was sitting and I stopped him to warn him of the wet floor because if he would have stepped in it he would have fell. There was no reason those floors should have been mopped while there were customers in that area nor should the employee have mopped directly beside where I was eating. That is just unsanitary.
I worked in a restaurant for almost 10 years now and none of what happened at this location would have ever happened where I work. There is no mopping of floors where customers walk unless someone spills something that needed cleaned up. This location just reopened a few weeks ago because of rebuilding and it is just awful. Neither myself nor my grandmother will go back there anymore. Furthermore the way they have the parking lot set up is ridiculous. You have to park way in the back of the lot and walk across the drive-thru area just to get to the door to go in the place. I don't know who planned this new design but they did an awful job.

I applied, and for over two months was put aside and watched as new faces graced the location. They were nice Hispanic girls also looking for work. When I asked to speak to the hiring manager for the third time, he gave excuses saying he didn't get to my application. When the new girls spoke with me, they informed me they applied recently and were hired on the spot.
I left, and returned once more to speak to Mr. ** one last time, and after waiting an hour, he went to the back and a staff member came out saying he overheard a conversation with the assistant manager questioning if I was Puerto Rican. What did my ethnicity have to do with applying??? I took her concerns to corporate where I thought I was heard, but no one called to follow up. Today, about 2 1/2 weeks later, I was there again at the same McDonald's doing homework and luckily a District Manager was present. Staff encouraged me to speak to her and I waited to speak to her and when I was able to, I was interrupted by one of the assistant managers I once approached saying that she will help forward my questions on employment. The DM left, and I was given a piece of paper to write once again my information on. I did, and again didn't feel like I was getting anywhere because shortly after, the hiring manager walked in and again went to the back office and retreated there even after the staff informed him I was there to see him.
I again called corporate and corporate informed the location was franchised to Emilio **. I was given a phone number to forward my concerns. The corporate heard my story and looked up the location and informed me that the location is owned by another- non corporate, and to take my concerns to them. I called the number and got an operator of the office, a woman. After hearing my story, she defended her managers and called my concerns and feelings of the stressful situation "ridiculous" and stating they are equal opportunity employers. After telling her that I wasn't implying they were indeed discriminators, but that I FELT discriminated against because of being qualified, following up regularly on the position, being a regular customer, and seeing two Hispanic girls hired on the spot without hard efforts, I couldn't help but feel discriminated against especially when my heritage was questioned, and going through 3 Hispanic managers who didn't help me obtain employment or at least follow up with me. 3 different staff members knew about the injustice, as well as my heritage being questioned.
Today the third person spoke about the incident to me without realizing I was that person. I knew the majority of the staff because I am a regular at that Miami Gardens location. The woman, who refused to identify herself told me that I was being problematic and that I am wasting her time. I questioned her attitude and hearing her accent, a Spanish accent, I figured she was offended by my story. I informed her it was no need to be offended - that this situation is about fairness, and that this is a serious issue. My son is half Colombian and my mother-in-law is Spanish descent, that I was given this number because corporate suggested I take my concerns to them. I did so, and I was being yelled at, spoken over and told I am keeping them from doing their work and told my concerns were ridiculous and nonsense.
MIND YOU, that location is dominantly **. I would understand the need to staff bilingual employees for needs of Spanish-speaking customers but the managers were Spanish and so was some of the staff. I witnessed customers irate because their orders were incorrect and there was a language barrier. In conclusion, I am not the only applicant this has happened to. I am being vocal about it because wrong is wrong. In terms of qualifications, I have over ten years customer service experience and over three years assistant manager experience. I have taken my concerns to McDonald's corporate twice. After today's incident, and being stressed over this injustice, I am considering if I should find a lawyer.

I really hate going there sometimes. Not all the employees are that way, a few there are idiots and very immature. I am from Sacramento and there are two McDonald's. This is pertaining to the horrible experience I had in McDonald's Parkway Parade Singapore.
I was at the mentioned restaurant with my sister to have our Filet-o-Fish meals. Although the fries looked normal that day, we never had this slightest intention that we would be in for a surprise... As we went deeper and deeper into the fries holder, we felt something sharp. My sis toppled the fries to the tray to discover a fried FLY!! Not only was it in the food, it was hot and crispy as how the fries were.
When brought to the manager, she took the item from my hands and replaced it with something else. Guess what? Yet another Fries!!! How insensitive...
Being totally disgusted by the poor hygiene and customer recovery, I went to meet the manager in private. To my dismay, she did not even give me a listening ear instead she kept mentioning that the fly would have fallen from the trees since I was sitting at the alfresco dining area. Not only was my feedback heard but I was accused of fabricating the incident.
Escalating the matter to the management was equally useless. The restaurant manager came to my residence two days later. I had to literally regurgitate everything again. After the whole episode, the manager gave me a transparent plastic with the amount that I spent for the meal and a payment voucher for me to sign as an indication that the issue is solved. What recovery did the restaurant manager did? I am still asking myself. To me that act was belittling and extremely rude!!
Is this the level McDonald's cherishes customers feedback? Is this how you compensate customers who are dissatisfied?? Very disappointed I am.

Apparently the cashier girl didn't like that I gave my name as "sure" when asked. I even spelled it out for her. I hardly think anyone else would have answered to it when the order was called ready. What's more sad is she put the receipt down on the counter where it could be seen & subsequently put in my bag by the manager! I'd have thought that if anyone was dumb enough to write that on the ticket, they'd have enough brainpower to not put it out where the customer could see it & get it. But I guess that's expecting too much from a McDonald’s cashier...LOL.

I was kicked out of this McDonald by the manager on duty. I was told that it was for customers only and there were only 3 of us in the restaurant. The 2 other customers were listening to her and commented with, "That is the so dumb." I was sitting there online like I do every day. I come in. set up my computer, then go and order my food. Next the manager came over and stated that this was reserved for customers only and that I had to go. I asked why. She informed that they had a new policy that I can only be there for 30 min. per the owner's new policy. I proceeded to tell her that I was there everyday online and order food and she said that she knows and recognizes me. So I was wondering what is the problem. Am I not a customer.
So I left, but I came back 3 other times and order coffee, or McChicken and/or salad and sat down and view and time customers that came and went and not once did the manager ask anyone to leave that was there over 30 min., whether eating or online on the internet. As far as I have seen, I've been the only one kicked out. I would like to know why was I singled out. I wondered if I would have been treated different if I had not taken off my clergy color. I have decided not to eat at another McDonald's restaurant if this is the policy. Before I share my critique of McDonald's corporate policies, let me begin by saying that I have received outstanding customer service and have had largely positive experiences in our visits to McDonald's restaurants in the Indiana market, particularly at the locations in Greenwood and Mooresville, Indiana. The stores are extremely clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, eager to assist customers, and they do their best to deliver the orders in a very timely manner, so that the food is hot, fresh and enjoyable to eat. These restaurants appear to be run so well that there is really very little room for improvement, because the improvement that is needed most - in products and in promotions - must occur at the corporate level.
Take for example the quality of the Filet-O-Fish sandwich meal that I purchased. I ordered the sandwich the way I like it - without tartar sauce. When I bit into the sandwich, I thought - "Oh, that's odd! Where's the cheese? I don't taste any cheese." So I lifted the bun to see if they forgot to add the cheese. Surprise! It was there, but the most measly half-slice of process cheese in a ribbon that was only about 2 inches wide and four inches long, draped sideways over the top of the small square of fish that was dwarfed by the bun. The fish tasted odd, too - no crispy edges, no juiciness - just this sticky, mushy, slightly cod-flavored thing.
I didn't bring the issue up with the restaurant's manager, because they didn't get the order wrong. That is just how they are producing the Filet-O-Fish sandwich these days. So, I decided to call McDonald's customer service line to report the issue. The representative was courteous, cordial and seemed genuinely eager to listen. But again, the rep seemed to lack the autonomy to do anything truly concrete to address the situation. Instead, there was an intentional attempt to "spin" the view on the Filet-O-Fish sandwich: "The reason there is only a half-a slice of cheese on the sandwich is so that you can taste the fish better."
I apologized for being abrupt, but cut the script off and said, "I know that there is less cheese because nutritional information must be published now. What you are saying about tasting the fish is bunk, and if that's what corporate is telling you to say, it's a lie, and I don't buy it - literally AND figuratively." The fish is probably less crispy and tastes much less appealing because they've tinkered with the ingredients to reduce the fat and calorie counts.
So, I decided that on the next visit to McDonald's I would NOT buy a Filet-O-Fish Sandwich (Yes, I did go back to another McDonald's. Anyone can make mistakes, and people deserve opportunities to make things right and to have second chances.). The Southern-style Crispy Fish Sandwich was okay - not extra tasty, but not terrible either. Trying to decide which chicken sandwich to choose was almost a hassle. The signage in the restaurant does not make it easy to tell what differentiates one kind of chicken sandwich from another except for the prices. I hated to have ask the cashier to tell me about each different sandwich just so I could make a sensible selection. But, the young man was very patient with me and very knowledgeable (as I said earlier, the customer service in the Indiana restaurants is very good).
I was also surprised to note that the fountain drink we ordered was served in a cup that we thought should have come with a game piece for Monopoly, but didn't. When I spoke with the rep at McDonald's customer service line, I learned that only medium drinks have game pieces - not large drinks, but large Fries have game pieces - and that iced tea is served in Styrofoam (rather than paper) cups and that the Styrofoam cups don't have the game pieces. So why was my husband's fountain drink (NOT ICED TEA) served in a foam cup - without a game piece? The rep had also mentioned that they had received other feedback that knowing what should have game pieces on it was confusing to customers.
The rep, of course, indicated that my "comments would be shared." I sincerely pray that someone listen closely to see that there is room for improvement, and that the first way to work on that is to tell the truth to customers and to improve the clarity of their advertising. Even the way the Filet-O-Fish sandwich has been photographed and presented in their signage seems a bit deceptive. It doesn't immediately appear that there would only be a half-slice of cheese! If you look at the picture on McDonald's website, you can see that the cheese is draped outside the bun toward the front.

I guess they were afraid to lose business, but they have gone right back to being rude, slow, and constantly getting the orders wrong. I have been through the drive-through and had to actually go inside to get my order fixed many times, but tonight was the kicker.
I left for work at 5:30 this morning, and when I was coming home at 6:30 pm, I pulled through to get my kids some food. First, I waited an extended time to get sweet tea (this I understand), but then they forgot the sauce, so I went back around the drive-through to get my sauce, but the drive-through employee was having a nice, long, entertaining chat with her friends in the car in front of me. They DID NOT order food - they just came to talk. So after waiting about two minutes (she looked at me four times during this wait), I proceeded to park and went in to ask for my sauce. I mentioned that I thought it was ridiculous that I had to get out and come in because she was so rude. NO ONE cared.
Then, when I gave the kids the food, the french fries were OLD and COLD. I tried one myself and they were disgusting. I sent my daughter back to exchange them (after calling the store), and they gave her new ones. She ordered another medium fry for a friend of hers (AT THE SAME TIME), but they were just like the first ones: OLD and COLD. I am sure this does no good, but I called and complained to the phone number on the receipt. It is just sad to me that so many McDonald's are crappy now. Every once in a while, you find a diamond in the rough, but I can assure you, the one located in Willis, TX is one of the WORST!!!

She did, however, offer us a better solution. She said, "If you order a folded egg and add it to your sausage biscuit, the price would be $1.78 for the same $3.19 sandwich. I guess my question is, if she could figure that McDonald's was overcharging due to packaging, why wouldn't management realize they are not priced fairly?

After going to this for many years almost every morning for years and getting along perfectly well with all staff, I had a situation that got me thrown out. I always treat people with respect and kindness unless a rude and abusive person starts on me. One morning recently a store employee was having trouble getting the TV to receive satellite so I tried to help him. The remote control wasn't working so I went to the TV to push buttons so to switch it to satellite and as I did, I accidently bumped a customer who was sitting directly in front of the TV and I immediately apologized. Unfortunately he wasn't very understanding and gave me verbal abuse. I'm sorry but I can't stand there and allow someone to rag on me so I returned his verbal attack.
The same employee told both of us to stop or he would ask us to leave. It stopped and when I was leaving, I decided to speak to a manager to bring it to her attention. She asked me to go outside to talk and as I did another regular customer who is a know-it-all came out and stopped to stare. I was already angry because the manager wasn't willing to hear my side. She only wanted to instruct me to defuse the situation and certainly I can agree but I needed to state my case about the employee not stepping in immediately when the rude person started and ask him to stop or leave. So back to the know-it-all and me being upset I said, "What are you staring at? Just keep on walking." That's when the manager told me to leave and as far as I know she is sending me a no trespass notice.
Unfortunately the world is full of political correctness and anyone who steps outside that box is labeled and punished. I am not a violent person and I would never physically harm anyone, but I do believe that a person should have the right to verbally give back what he is dealt. If someone had a mental handicap, would they be thrown out? Of course not, no more than any disabled person would be, so why not listen to two sides of a story before placing judgment?

The individual operating the counter, apparently a franchise manager from his blue shirt (other employees had red shirts), first tried to explain that a) all cones need the paper in them to help support the ice cream; and b) it helps prevent the spread of disease.
When I politely told him that the paper was not in the second cone, he pulled several cones from the cone dispenser, looked in each, and noted that paper is not supposed to be part of the product. How McDonald's could fail at something as simple as creating a viable wrap escapes me. I tried a couple via their buy one at $3.99 and get one for .99 promotion. I'll tell you, even at their promo of 2 for $5, that's still an overpriced lackluster meal. You get a chunk of chicken sliced up, a few pieces of lettuce, nearly transparent bacon (if they sliced it any thinner, it simply won't escape the slicing machine), topped with a couple slices of cucumber, and some sort of nondescript sauce. That's about it, folks.
While McDonald's is one company that knows all about promotion, it's their performance on the plate here that is grossly lacking. If the company was truly interested in providing a quality and healthy product vs spinning cycles on shaving a little more here and there, how much better a company they would be? If any McDonald's management is reading this note now, do something about it. However, as a McDonald's manager, I thought the corporation taught their managers the mission and values of the company.
The mission of McDonald's is to be the customer favorite place to eat. In addition, McDonald's core values center on exceptional customer experience. McDonald's statement is their customers are the reason for the restaurant existence. Therefore, as a corporation, you train employees to give superior service in a clean welcoming environment. This is generally my experience when dinning at McDonald's restaurants worldwide. Nevertheless, this is why I was taken aback by Ms. **'s lack of leadership skills and decision making in resolving customers service issues. ** lacks customer courtesy and demonstrated the inability to articulate fluently a meaningful resolution beneficial to all involved. I ordered a latte which the sign posted at $2.79, but was charged $2.99 when I questioned it. I was given a manager who said they didn't bother to change the sign, but that was the price. At the second window, a manager questioned why I wanted the receipt and I again said that the price posted should be the price charged. He said he couldn't adjust the price, at which point a gentleman behind me got out of his car and announced that he works for Consumer Affairs and gave me his ID #**. He asked if they offered me anything in lieu of the overcharge and said he also saw the price posted. The manager said he wasn't offering anything and if I would pull up, he would bring me a receipt.
At this point the gentleman behind me left and told me to contact you. When I was brought the receipt, the manager gave me a free drink coupon and told me I didn't have to report this to Consumer Affairs, that it wouldn't be worth my time. I am tired of always being charged more than the posted price, be it at the food store, Mcdonalds or any other establishment. This has happened 4 times in the last 4 days - Shoprite, King Nullen and Stop and Shop - so I am writing. Tonight, I was watching the movie The Bronx Tale (1993) at home with my parents and loved it. I needed to step out because there is an internet outage and I needed the internet. My fave place in the past was McDonald's at Victoria Park/St. Clair where I can log in and do what I need to do. Because McDonald's there has only one entrance (the side of the building where I parked is locked), I had to use the front doors and there was a bunch of people intoxicated and smelling of booze. I walked past them and almost puked because the rot was so bad. I came into a quiet restaurant, ordered my coffee and muffin, and sat down.
A half hour went by and then the rot came in and the yelling started between a bunch of people and it continued loudly. I asked the kid cleaning the floor to please talk to the manager and have them removed from here. It was so annoying and I couldn’t stand it. They were all on booze and were dangerous. Then this big guy started pointing and yelling at someone at the only exit way from the restaurant I know and I felt so afraid because if anything happens in here, I could never escape for my safety! This is totally unacceptable, McDonald's! I asked again and again for the manager and the kid was afraid to get involved and the manager, where is he or she? Nowhere to be found!

I just don't care so much for these double lane drive-thrus all of the McDonald's have been going to. I realize some areas have had them in place for a decade, but they are new where I live. The reason that I don't like them is because to me, it's line cutting! They say it's quicker, but for whom? Certainly not the customer!
Today, just like the past several other times, I drove up and cannot get into the line without having to drive all the way around the building, only to get to the line and be met by five additional cars cutting in from the same direction I entered, but I decided to follow the go around arrows so not to block the road. Then when I was in line, as in today, the person ahead of me sat there for 3 whole minutes without driving forward and 3 more cars drove up in the next lane and ordered before me and got ahead!
In all, 7 cars that drove in after me got to place and receive their order before I did. It's wrong to put off customers like that. It's no different than when you stand in line at a grocery store and wait and wait until some cashier walks up and says they can help someone and everyone behind you goes running to the new line and there you are, left to still wait some more! Why don't these businesses find ways to actually help the next person in line instead of promoting line cutting? It may be faster for them, but it really ticks me off when I don't stand a chance at being next in line when I was clearly there before those others!
Also, McDonald's takes a picture of you or your automobile when you place an order from the drive-thru. I don't know, but that makes me feel creeped out. I go through the drive-thru because I don't have any make-up on or my hair is bad. So I sure as heck don't want my picture taken! All this is just too much for me, so McD's is off my fast food list. Not going there anymore, not worth it. Not an enjoyable experience.

I could see that Mike was looking to protect his employees because they were either leaning on counters or playing games. I have to admit the Midlothian store in Youngstown, Ohio has to be the worst because this is not my first confrontation with a manager. A month ago, I went back because to give me some items and the manager called me a liar and said that I was looking to get stuff for free. Finally halfway through the order, the person taking the order figured out that she must communicate in order for me to know what to do. After getting my order, I was almost home, 20 minutes from there and noticed that my apple pie looked like it has been sitting there since yesterday and was warmed up in the microwave or something. The filling was so brown and it looked like rubber.
I called to speak to the manager. The person who answered said, "She wants to know if you can call her around 1:30PM." Of course not, it took me about 6 calls to finally get through the fax machine. This is what I told her, "I am a customer and I have a complaint." She said to the manager in a very sassy voice, "She said she is a customer and she has a complaint." Well I knew whatever I say, it will be ignored or joked about so I hung up and wrote you all, hoping that someone will do something about it. Yes, one apple pie, big deal. She advised me that they had not had the product since 4pm and stated she did not have the Quarter Pounder as well. I was instructed by Sherry that I should plan trips for this item prior to 4pm especially on the weekends. Additionally, she informed me that this was the second week the store did not have the product but the owner attempted to get the wings from other stores and that they're going through personnel changes and once they're settled, things should be better at this store.
I realize this is not major, but this lady did not hear me or attempt to resolve my issue but had numerous reasons for the store's shortcomings. I suggested if you know you have a new product that's being advertised and you're giving coupons, would one not assume the demand would be higher so you'd need to increase your order? And I suggested that the store's standard of customer service could never be reached with this level of service. Again, she never heard me. As she was telling us this, she was completely talking down her manager and the company and rolling her eyes. My husband did not want to be waiting more than 5 minutes (the point in using drive-thru is quickness). I decided to go inside to get the issue handled.
While I was walking in, I heard the drive-thru cashier informing everyone that I was coming in. The cashier at the counter said, "I'm not dealing with this **." I asked about my order, and why they had run out of quarter meat. The drive-thru cashier said, "because the manager isn't doing their job". A male employee from the back then yells, "** you!" I asked the manager what she was going to do about that. She denied that it happened. She was in between myself and the employee, she had to hear it. Then, I told her that I would just like a refund because it is well known fact that if you make a cook mad, they will spit on (or God knows what else) your food. She called me a liar. I then named an ex-employee and gave examples of when that employee and others had spit on people's food. I again asked for a refund, and the manager finally issued it. We ate our ice cream and then started to open the door into the play area and found it locked. When I asked an employee why the door was locked, he said he didn't know. The store manager was standing beside him and didn't say a word. Finally I asked him if he could find out why. He turned to her and asked her and only then did she offer any explanation. She said because it was wet from the rain we had the day before. This particular day the temperature was over 85 degrees all day. We could see the whole area through the windows and there was no water anywhere in sight. Still, she would not open the door.
The following day, Sunday, my husband went there again to get ice cream and was told the machine was not working. The previous evening when we were there we did get the ice cream, but for the past 2 or 3 months every time we have gone there we have been told the machine is not working. Last week we had stopped there and asked the fellow taking our order at drive-thru if the ice cream machine was working and he said "of course" so we proceeded to give him our order. I asked McDonald’s to make an incident report and to give me a copy for the reason that this concerns my daughter’s health. I was told that they do not do incident or have incident reports. Another customer came in with a blended coffee as I was getting ready to leave with the same complaint. I insisted that they pour a smoothie so we can check together. They did and got real nervous when again there were sharp broken pieces in this cup also. The manager apologized and I waited a while as he checked the machine and so forth. I must say he was honest enough to admit that the plastic ring inside the machines where everything is blended had been broken and that is why it is in the drinks. And still again I was denied an incident report and copy. I was told corporate told them this.
Now, I am caring for and watching my child carefully as directed to do and I was advised of what symptoms to watch for physically and in her stool and urine. My concern is if this happened here, it can happen again at any McDonald’s anywhere if those machines were made from the same company; they should be recalled ASAP! I did take a video recording with their known consent and pictures. I also got the name and number of the other customers who had the same complaint. Taking the trash through this area where the meals are prepared now makes it unsanitary. When I spoke to a manager, she told me that this has been the practice for the last four years, which was shocking to me. I was a Swing Manager Trainee for a McDonald's in Texas and Arizona in the 1990's and we were trained to take the trash out the side doors. Therefore, dragging the trash through the preparation area causes contaminants to become airborne on the food, etc.; therefore, the store should be closed, sanitized again, start fresh with good food and condiments and then start again.
I spoke to Corporate and they didn't seem to care nor did the owner. I told them that if things did not change, I would quit going and that I would put the word out to all my Native American relatives to not go to any McDonald's until things change, and that I would go to the news media and bust open a can of worms.
