Dirty/full of bacteria play area made my child sick - My 4-year old son was playing in the play area of the McDonald's in Woodland Park, CO 80863 on Friday, June 1st. That night he was itching his whole body and was irritated. The next morning, Saturday, my son had a horrible rash all over his cheeks, legs, arms, and even part of body. I come to find out he has Fifth Disease, obviously thanks to the uncleanliness and not sanitized play area of McDonald's in Woodland Park, CO. Now I have to watch him and I will never have any of my kids play in the McDonald's play area ever again!

It was really disgusting and I have been spending my day in writing reviews through all websites to spread this with documented picture since you don't have the proper channel to receive this!

I just got off from work and went to the McDonald’s at the New Circle by Sam’s Wholesale in Lexington. I asked for Angus burger (no cheese), two medium fries, 3 chickens (with mayonnaise only), and parfait. It had more parfait than fruit. The strawberries were sour and only had two to three berries in it. My burger had no dry dab of dressing. The fries have no salt and look like they just heated them up. I didn’t know till I got home. My number is **. I have problems with them in the past with nasty attitudes and they were supervisors! I try to avoid this location, but it just happens to be going that away. I still have receipt.

In May of 2011, my family and I entered the drive-in at a McDonald’s store at about 2:00 AM. We ordered chicken nuggets with various sauces. We were told that we would have to pay for additional sauces. When we questioned and indicated that we would discuss it when we could talk person-to-person with them, we were told by the employee that she took our statements as being threats and she would notify the police, which she did. I pulled to the side of the parking lot and was immediately blocked by a police car with others nearby to prevent our escape. When my wife and my son approached the entrance, the door was locked by an employee. The police stayed to make sure that we left. I resent the fact that it happened and the possibilities that the decision to call the police could have serious consequences. I have talked with a couple of people, including the owner of a group of McDonald’s, with little satisfaction. This happened in Kansas City, Missouri.

I'm a regular morning customer at McDonald's #10505 in Nixa, MO 65714. I get a fruit/yogurt parfait and practically every morning it is dated to sell by the evening before. I have reported it numerous times but this morning was the last! The young ladies that work the window have always been very apologetic and reported it each time to the manager on shift but never has the manager come to the window to say anything to me. This morning when I got my last outdated item, the manager did come to the window apologizing but like I told her, it's too late. I will never buy anything from this location again. This is the first time I've ever reported a complaint but I'm a dept. manager at my business and I know this kind of problem would have been taken care of after the first time. If not, certainly the second.

On the 5-5-12, I had bad food and bad service at McDonald's. On the 8th, someone called to hear my complaint. He said he would send a $10 card to me. I never got it. The $10 would be nice but I did not get it and it's been a while. Could you see where my money is please? For spending $45, waiting 30 minutes for the food and then the chicken sandwiches were bad. I received nothing from them. My daughter-in-law and I ate the chicken and spent the next 18 hours in the bathroom crapping. But when and if I ever receive the $10, it would not make up for the bad food and bad service we got from them. The chicken was badly grilled or fried. We both ate them and we both got sick. Thank you.

I ordered a chicken sandwich and got a beef burger. I drove around and told them about the mistake and ordered a chicken sandwich #7. When I got to the drive thru window, the manager, Veronica, wanted to know what happened. I showed her the burger and she said, "I can charge for chicken and put it in your already soggy bun." I said just give me the #7 and give me my money back. She said, "Okay, but give me the sandwich back." I have never had anyone request a mistake back. I thought it was health hazard and she said, "this is how I was trained!"

We were customers at your establishment on Saturday, May 12, 2012. We used your drive-thru service at 9:20 am. The driver is a county employee and I am a state employee. I only mention that to say that we are both educated people with careers. We were both completely unsatisfied and insulted by the female who was working your drive-thru window on that morning. She was rude and projected a very combative attitude from the onset. I hope you can feel the arrogance of your employee as I try to describe the event: We pulled up to the window and the female was gathering the two coffees and the holder. Before she put the coffees in the holder, we stated we did not need the holder. The female looked at us blankly and started to place the first coffee in the holder. Again, we said we did not want the holder. The female grimaced, placed the second coffee in the holder, and reached her arm out of the window to hand it to us. For the third time, we said, “We do not want the holder.”
Instead of the female retracting her arm, she told us to take it and then just give her the holder back. She was very hostile and demanding when speaking to us. Furthermore, it did not make sense for us to take the holder with the coffees, then manipulate the cups from the holder and finally, to return the holder to her. However, we took the tray with the coffees, per her demand. As we were trying to avoid from the beginning, the coffee almost spilled as we took the tray (the vehicle had custom interior modifications). After we returned the tray to her, she slammed it down on the counter and proceeded to thrust our bags to us. I checked the bag to see if there was a straw for the orange juice and there was none. I asked her for a straw and she rudely said it was in the bag. We corrected her and told her it was not in the bag. The female gave us a dirty look and proceeded to hand us a straw. How unprofessional.
This female was so incredibly rude. We parked the vehicle in the lot to eat and reflected on the treatment we received from this female. I would have gone back in to speak with the female and her manager; however, I realized I needed to calm down prior to a confrontation. I manage customer service as part of my job. If anyone of my staff treated someone as your female did, I would have written them up with a suspension. Her actions in no way embodied your Mission and Values statement. I would like to see this person removed from her front line customer service position, I would like coupons so we can have the opportunity to have an enjoyable breakfast at McDonald’s. The experience we had should not be the last memory of any of your customers.

On three different visits at Brooks McDonald's, I have ordered a fish burger and the bun has been stale. I ordered a quarter pounder, and there's no cheese. Seventy-five percent of the time, it will have cheese on it. Your idea of help yourself to the pop is a joke. It is always dirty and messy, and it's usually out of ice. Take-out orders will be missing stuff, like straws and napkins.
Also, I was in Edmonton in April and went to McDonald's on Yellow Head and 140-something street, and the place was dirty. Three tables were being used, and all the rest were dirty. Also, the floor was dirty, the bathroom was filthy, and the window ledges and the seats were dirty. I mean dirty from buildup over time, not messy from being busy. I expect better.

So, we settle for McMuffins, about which I was very disappointed, for I only go to McDonald's for burgers. The whole eating area was not clean, and I hope they're busy renovating for a lot of seating was not available? Some tables had no tops, and others were marked with torn paper that they're not to be used. I always go to Albany, and for future, I will rather stick to that branch. What is the point of having burgers at McDonald's but is told not at 9.30 in the morning?

Well, I went to this McDonald's on 1636 Hwy-19 Griffin, GA 30223 last week and ordered a chicken biscuit meal and she said their drink machine was down. I said that I wanted a frappe anyway. She told me that they don't sell them anymore and that it's been awhile. It's funny because my boyfriend had just one the day before at another McDonald's. So my mom and I went to this same McDonald's on Sunday and I had mentioned to her that they don't sell frappes anymore and she had told me that the lady that works with her got one that morning. So of course, I asked for one and got it that time. I'm so not happy that I was told they don't sell them anymore because they are too lazy to fix it. Thank you!

I stopped by the McDonald's at 1501 Keowee St., Dayton, Ohio 45404 as I do a couple times a week for breakfast on the way to work. I ordered off the dollar menu as I normally do. Ordering a Sausage McMuffin no egg, the lady that took the order (which as with every morning I stop in is very friendly) told me as normal my order was a dollar. I pulled to the window and paid with a ten dollar bill and was given change. I pulled to the next window and realized that I had only received $6 and some change. I just figured an honest mistake and I looked at the receipt and was charged for oatmeal (another honest mistake).
I spoke with the woman at the next window. I told her the problem. She took the receipt and change, and made a correction bringing me back another amount. After looking, I now had $7 and some change. I told her that what I had ordered was off the dollar menu. She said she wasn’t sure and checked with another person that I assume was a manager. She said no, that it wasn’t on the dollar menu. I tried telling them that I had just stopped in on Thursday and purchased the same thing and was only charged one dollar. She said they must not have charged me right.
Needing to get to work, I decided to leave and called to speak to the manager after I got to work. I tried explaining what had happened and she tried telling me that I had not ordered what I had said I did. I order the same thing every morning, only changing with maybe ordering a hash brown to go along with my order. Below is the only response I received from McDonald's Corp. This is some of the worst customer service that I have seen. I was clearly over charged and nobody from McDonald's is willing to do anything about it.

On the morning of April 25/12, I purchased a large coffee at the drive through window heading into work at the Young and King side road location in Richmondhill Ontario. The cashier handed me the large coffee that I purchased through the window and I placed the coffee in my drink holder. My work is located just around the corner from the franchise in question. As I turned the corner into the parking lot, my coffee fell out of its drink holder and spilled out of its container onto my right foot: The coffee was so hot that it penetrated my jeans and my sock on my right foot and caused severe 2nd degree burns to my right foot. I immediately drove to the hospital in excruciating pain to be treated for this unfortunate accident. I will be off work for a few days to allow my very painful burns to heal. Note: No one should serve a beverage so hot that it could cause such a painful and acute injury. I want some answers and I'm not looking for trouble; just a way to mitigate the chances of this happening to someone else. I emailed McDonald's today with a complaint I have about the City Centre McDonald's in Wakefield, England (UK). They advertise that they are open from 5am in the morning. I work nights and have been to this McDonald's at around 5:15-5:30 most mornings. Most of the time, it's either closed or the staff inside have been late and the machines aren’t ready for making food and I’m told there’s a 15-20 minute wait. The morning staff looks a bit shabby - running about the kitchen in their hoods and “non-uniform” clothing, which surely is not company policy for hygiene standards. If McDonald's can’t open at 5am because all the staff turns up late, then they need to change their open hours! I wonder what response I will get from my email!

I have been working in Washington, PA for the past 3 weeks. There is a McDonald’s next to the hotel. I go in every morning and at lunch because it is convenient and I am used to my order being wrong at least 4 out of 10 times. The last 3 were on consecutive days. One morning, I ordered a sausage and egg biscuit with a large coffee with 5 creams and 5 sugars. I got to the job and I had a sausage biscuit and a black coffee. That afternoon I ordered a double cheese burger and medium fries with a large Coke. I got to the job and had no cheeseburger and the Coke was diet.
The next morning I ordered a big breakfast with hotcakes and requested extra butter and syrup. The extra syrup was $0.40 extra. I got to the job and I had the extra syrup, but no butter at all. What’s the use? I'm not a complainer and I don't check my order at the window for fear of holding up the line. I have noticed that most of the problems are at sites that have a double drive-through. I have decided that this is a way of life at McDonald’s and no one there really cares about customer service anymore. But I will hold up the line from now on and check my order.

The cashier said that it would be an additional charge in the amount of 21 cents. I said fine and proceeded to hand her my $1.00 bill. The cashier or team lead never wronged this transaction up, they had a basket filled with change on the side and my change was given from the basket. The team lead or supervisor that was assisting her (Patricia) told the young lady that she should not have given me anything. Unfortunately I did hear the rude comment that was made by Patricia, since I was still sitting at the window.
When I asked Patricia to repeat herself, she informed me that I should have gone around in the drive-thru because I was holding the line up. I had no problem with paying the additional money, but I did have a problem simply because the way I was treated and it seemed as though they were trying to pocket the money, because I never received a receipt and I never saw them ring up the transaction. I called after pulling off and spoke with a supervisor by the name Darlene. I asked for her name when she first answered and she informed me that she was not giving me her name. Darlene proceeded to make excuses for Patricia's behavior, instead of informing me that she will take care of the matter at hand.
I expressed my concerns on the way they treat their customers. Darlene later tried to rectify the problem by offering me a free meal, but due to the behavior that was displayed, I declined. I work for McDonald's. I have previously worked for McDonald's throughout high school, roughly 10 years ago. McDonald's is currently paying for me to go get my degree and move on to bigger and better things. I work as the order taker, you know, the bubbly, fun girl who takes your order on the speaker and gets your order right every time, as seen on your receipts.
Here's a general walk-through of my duties and responsibilities. First, I say, "Hello, would you like to try our new (Shamrock Shake, McBites, Strawberry Creme Pie--whatever the new thing is at the time)." I promptly and courteously take your order, even when you're being rude to me, drunk, or stoned. When I verify your order is correct on the screen, I kindly ask you to please pull to the first window. Normally, this is an easy task for you, but sometimes you whip past me onto the pick-up window. This makes me have to ask the next person waiting at the speaker box to "Please hold" while I walk to the front of the store, take your money, walk back to my register, cash you out, and walk your change and receipt back to you.
Then I am able to take the next person's order, who only wanted a large Sweet Tea. I make up for the wait by saying the Sweet Tea is on me for their inconvenience. Hopefully, this makes your day, but most of the time, I don't even get a thank you. I digress, getting back to the duties and responsibilities. When you stop at my window, the pay window, I smile and say, "Hello! Your total is $x.xx." As I cash you out, I ask how your day is going. I rarely get more than a low grumble.
Meanwhile, the kitchen staff is busy complaining about how much food you just ordered. The manager is running around like a chicken with head cut off, probably on the cell phone or just sitting in the office, while I try to be the friendly employee. And I know that I am nice to each customer, as I would expect someone to be nice to me.
I don't think the general public has any clue how a restaurant that specializes in fast food works. Along with the order taking, I am responsible for making all the Pies, Cookies, Sweet and Regular Tea, keeping the break room spotless, checking for errors on the menu versus computer, washing every single dish there is in the store, sweeping, mopping, windex-ing, cleaning the parking lot after my shift has ended, and most Importantly, keeping a good attitude as well as personally fixing any problems you may have, as the managers could give a ** less.
I do care, I want you to be happy, and I'm glad you chose to come to my McDonald's. I'll chat with your kid about the latest happy meal toy. I'll give you a promo if your order was incorrect on your last visit. I really try to do my best to make sure you have a happy experience. But, my general manager hates me, and I'll never be promoted to anything in this company, which is sad. I guess what I'm trying to say is that you can't please everyone all the time, but I sure do try. It'd be nice to get a little kindness from the general public in return every once in a while.

My daughter and I visit the McDonald’s located on 51st and Roe in Roeland Park, KS on a daily basis during the work week. Last Friday, 3/30/12, we placed our order and we hadn't even paid at the first window, when the woman at the second window had our food order hanging out the drive thru window, as if we were slowing her down. We proceeded to the window and our order was incorrect, however, we didn't notice it until we were on our way to work and school. So, I took a picture of the order on my cell phone and then made a call to the store.
The person that answered the phone should not be allowed to answer calls. He was difficult to understand and I don't think he spoke English or if he did, I couldn't make out what he was saying. I asked to speak to the manager and I did manage to understand from him that the manager was too "busy" to take my call. He said he'd take my phone number and the manager would call me.
Needless to say, I never received a call back. I'm angry because this person probably did not pass my number on, being that he didn't speak the language or the fact that the manager didn't think it was worth their time/effort to return my call. I would like my money returned since I did not receive what I was charged for. I have a copy of my receipt and pictures of what we received. I am a loyal customer. However, if this is how a customer that patronizes a business on a daily basis is treated, I may have to take my business elsewhere.

I visited India from 19/3/2012 to 30/3/2012 for a tour. I have two complaints. First, the quality of the food is very poor. On two occasions that I ate at two McDonald’s (Bangalore and Mumbai), in both the places the chicken was overfried and dry. Second, the facilities in Mumbai were terrible. You could not use the facilities. The smell was terrible. The urinals were stinking, stained dark brown and cracked. For an international food chain store, it is absolutely unacceptable. I approached the sales person and complained. He had no answer as to why a reputable store has such poor facilities. I did mention that I would complain to McDonald’s.

Today, just now at around 2 pm, I purchased two McDonald’s Junior Chicken in the store located at 7270, Rue Saint-Jacques Ouest, Montreal, QC H4b 1W1. The right price should be $3.2 for the 2 Junior Chicken sandwiches. I gave the cashier $20 by cash and she returned to me only $9 something. By doing so, she charged me $10 something for the 2 Junior Chicken sandwiches! And she just put the bill on the desk and waited to serve up the sandwiches. And I waited aside. When my sandwiches were ready, I went to take, but there was no my bill at all—maybe another customer took it by mistake. I asked the cashier and her manager about my bill. They said they can only check the last 10 transaction records and they could not find it in their cash machine at that moment. At last, they said they can try to check it in today’s transaction data after finishing today's business day.
What I am angry about is the cashier's attitude. I took my child to go to toilet during the long waiting. I cannot always watch out my bill all the time. Supposed if I have the responsibility to watch out my bill all the time, then the cashier should place the bill in my hand, not just leave it on her counter. She said she always lines up all the bills on counter, but how she well supervises them? What can I do now? Does anybody have the same experience with me?

I told her I thought that sounded illegal to charge more than the advertised price. She got rude and told me if I didn't like it to due them. I am half tempted to do just that, as this seems like a class action lawsuit just waiting to happen. The McDonald’s location is on 768 Winchester Road in Lexington, KY 40505. I got dressed and ready for an interview. Once I arrived, I am told that they are not having interviews today and the real manager looked at me like I am stupid. And I really mean mentally disabled. I told her that when I called, I was told that there are open interviews today after 2 pm. I wrote this down! She asked who I spoke to and I could not remember the name of the man that I had talked to as it was two weeks in advance.
She started shaking her head before I could finish what I was saying. It was like she was shaking her head to the fact that there is a male that works in this place that would answer phones when there is an assistant manager that is a male, which is possibly the person I have talked to. She looked at me as if I'm completely wrong and would not take the time to fix this matter. She wanted me to leave. I was very calm and understanding, but at the same time extremely irritated by this information. I wanted to tell her, "What type of people do you have working in this place that give out false information to people that want or need jobs and come in to try to get one and turns out they have been stood up?" I did not ask this, but I wanted to. I am irritated and I want something to be done. At least, I want them to find out who gave this information out and give them a warning or penalty for it. He saw me waiting for him to take the order. He turned reluctantly to me and ask me what I want. He asked very rudely. I asked him to give me a senior coffee. He said, "You can't get a senior coffee without purchasing cookie or some other item."
So I asked him how much is the regular price for a small coffee. He replied "You can't afford to pay it," so I asked him again to tell me how much is it. He said it's $1.60. Then I called a friend who works at McDonald's at the corner of Melrose street and Vermont Ave in Los Angeles, California. He told me that there is a senior discount. When I came back in 5 minutes to tell him that, he said to me not to bother him. I said to him that he is behaving very rude. He turned around in a very threatening manner and walked towards me to hit me. When I told him that I want to talk to the manager, he said go and talk to anyone. He was angry because I interrupted him talking to young lady he was talking to. I asked him to tell me his name. He said, "Just leave. You don't need my name." When a shift leader came, he told her not to give me his name. The shift leader did gave me the store address and location but she did not gave me his name. She told me his name **.
When I told the manager in the morning shift, he said there is no such person who works there. On Monday, March 26, 2012, I visited the restaurant at the same location at 6:15 am. He was the assistant manager. I told him what I wrote here. I asked him to tell me the name of that employee so I can mention the name to the McDonald's franchise complaint department. The person at the window is always rude and abrupt. The food is always cold and the order is always incorrect. They never give you what you ask for. They just give you what is already made and most of the time, I just eat it because I’m not going to keep driving back to have it corrected.
I don’t complain to them because I am afraid of what they will do to my food if I do. I always ask for hot mustard because I like to eat it with my fries and every time I ask for it, they tell me they don’t have it. Yes, you do. The staff is so lazy they just do not want to be bothered with anything. It is so frustrating to come out of work and stop to get a bite to eat and I have to deal with the nonsense of my local McDonald’s. It’s just terrible. The menu lists Hash Browns 2 for one dollar. When I order Hash Browns, they give me only one and charge me 99 cents. Bait and switch. Nowhere on the menu does it state Hash Browns are 1 for .99 cents. The menu only says 2 for $1.00. I've brought this to their attention and they won’t stop this bait and switch practice. I thought if you were charging two prices for the same product, it would be listed on the menu? This has been going on a whole year. I've had to go into the store several times and they always tell me the same thing: "You ordered it wrong, ma’am. You must specify that you are ordering off the dollar menu." When I tell them I’m ordering the only Hash Browns they have on the menu, they don’t get it. They don’t understand that the price has to be on the menu. I very nicely went back inside and spoke with a shift manager. She told me it was not the condom that I thought it was, but a tip to a glove.
She then even told me she knew who he was and would speak to him. She took down my name and phone number and assured me she would have upper management call me. Almost a week went by and no one called. I called back the following week and spoke with **. I again nicely explained how upset I was. It was not like that was an unreasonable request. She was told that she could only have one and they would charge her for another. When she told me this, I thought surely that was a mistake.
We decided not to open the sweet and sour and truthfully it ruined the meal. So upon leaving, I asked to briefly speak to the manager. I hope all the above information is helpful to you seeing that you don’t have a space on this email to list the address, store number, etc. That is surprising.
Anyway, this particular McDonalds is always out of certain products, such as, ice cream. We brought my friend’s son to McDonalds for a birthday treat, and he really wanted ice cream. Of course, they have no ice cream. My friend told me that was not the first time they were out of ice cream. In fact when we arrived, she said “I bet you they will be out”, and of course they were. They have been out of ice cream for 2 weeks. That is ridiculous. McDonalds spends so much money on advertising. You would expect to get sundaes, or the new Shamrock shake, which we wanted. I think this McDonalds is a disgrace.
Also, they advertise Happy Meal toys up front in the display for Star Wars toys, and again, they have no Star Wars toys. My friend’s son was so disappointed. It seems to me that this McDonalds and quite a few more in the metro Atlanta area don’t seem to care. I thought McDonalds is very kid friendly. That will be the last time we will ever go to that McDonalds, or any other, if this keeps up. Your company has really gone downhill. It's all about money to you, and you don’t care about the public. You have the rudest employees, and I really don’t think you care.
The girl who waited on us on Sunday was very nice. I think it must be embarrassing to the front crew to have to tell guests they’re out of things, while the management doesn't do their job, or that they are so overworked, they forget things. It states I do not want an attorney to call me, but I do expect someone from your office to contact me by phone, email, or mail. My friend and I expect some kind of compensation for all the trouble we have been through.

They are selling products at different prices or higher than advertised. McDonald's breakfast menu includes sandwiches/meals. The local store has, for several months, been charging higher prices than posted on their signs. Today, the differential was $4.41 was advertised and $4.52 was charged. The drive through clerk says, "It is programmed in; I can't change it.” The clerk indoors says, "We haven't been able to fix it." This must be trained clerk response because it is identical on every occasion. On at least 6 occasions, I have gone to see the manager. They always offer money back and I explain to them that my real offense is taken at their breaking the law so often and so blatantly.
I have friends who have had the same experience frequently. There are an unknown number of managers; they all respond the same way, offering the 10 or 11 cents overcharged back with a smile and then saying they have tried to fix the pricing error but can't solve the problem. These errors have persisted through new sets of advertisements with new prices. For a few days, the prices advertised will match the prices charged, and then the prices charged by the computer are raised. This being the only truly fast-food in town, it is easier to accept the small rip-off and not make a fuss, but it is wrong to steal from your customers.
No one would object to raised prices. This store prepares consistent and good food for its type. It is the blatant dishonesty of programming in a higher price than what was advertised and taking advantage of customers who may or may not notice and getting away with it by paying off the occasional complaint with a dime or so. The bottom line: the business stole money from me by programming their computer to charge more than the advertised price. The business, when I complained, cheerfully refunded the money. The business continues its practice of overcharging daily.

On Saturday, 10th February, I queued for 15 minutes to be told yet again the machine is not working. How disappointing and time wasting for a fast food restaurant! Maybe they could put up a sign that says if you’re lucky, the machine might be working today. Yours, angry.

In the past I noticed some of my sandwiches come with only a half slices of cheese. When I complained they told me to tell them next time I want a whole slice of cheese instead of a half slice. Half slices are corporate policy. The filet of fish has a piece of cheese hanging out in the ads, but only one side. When I asked for a whole slice of cheese on my next visit they charged me 40 cents for my other half of a piece of cheese. Then two filets of fish, fries and a drink added to over $10.00. I asked for a refund. They kept the food and I am done. No more McDonald’s for me and my family. Basically, they charged me $0.80 cents for one piece of cheese.

I am writing a letter to corporate and calling corporate and posting this information wherever I can.

In a recent radio ad, McDonald's states "petting a stray pitbull - now that's dangerous." Well no **!Petting any stray dog is dangerous, especially a larger breed because they could do damage if they chose to. But, the point is that McDonald's exclusively singled out "pitbulls" which further aids to the ignorance of breed discrimination promoted by the media.
If they had stated "petting a stray dog - now that's dangerous" then it would be okay. But instead they chose to promote a negative image of pitbulls alone which is offensive to a lot of lovers of pitbulls and pitbull owners. Now, the customer service line issues an apology and states the ad has been scrapped, but I still feel like they should attempt to make real amends by negating the view they just supported by possibly doing a commercial involving a family with a loving pitbull.
It's just a shame that millions of people already heard this, and only people that are concerned about the breed's misrepresentation have heard the apology. What about the rest of the public who still heard the nonsense? I bet they haven't even considered attempting to counteract the negative seed planted in the minds of many individuals who do not know personally how loving and loyal this breed can be.

Yet golden retrievers had 40 less dogs tested, and 5 more failed, leaving them at around 84% passed. McDonalds has to target the pit bull, because it feeds into the lies that surround the breed. I know one thing for sure, they just lost 3 customers, until at least after a public apology is issued. We may not even go back after that. Oh, and 55% of the calories in the snack size chicken bites are from fat. How are they "safer than petting a pit bull"?

I contacted head of McDonald’s in Canada via their website, and no one contacted me back. I then posted a pic of it on Facebook, and a mutual friend knew the manager of the restaurant and told the manager about the pic I posted and what I was saying about McDonald’s. (I always try to go the first week that the new toys are out) This has happened more then once. I've lost count. Yes, I can change it somewhere else but that is not the point. The point is, at that moment, when my son gets his happy meal he's so happy and excited to get that toy. Then he notices it's not the one advertised. We end up getting a toy that doesn't do anything.
You're not the one who has to see the look on my son's face of sadness and disappointment. Then I have to tell him don't open it we can try to return it at another McDonald's for the right one. But wait, the other McDonald's doesn't have any either. So glad I have a car. Spending a lot of gas for a McDonald's toy. Enough is enough!
Most of the time we don't exchange so my son goes with out. Your Happy Meals are suppose to make kids happy. Well not mine. Just the other day, he asked to go to Burger King. When we asked to speak to the manager on duty, the young female staff member referred us to Molly, who was the manager on duty at that particular time. In us having to wait a further 5 minutes or so, then once again having to demand to see Molly then and there, she immediately came over to us.
We explained about the disgusting conditions that the toilets were in and that we had on a regular basis, visited various McDonald's restaurants throughout the South Eastern suburbs of Victoria, and have never come across any other McDonald's franchise being left in such a disgusting state. We also found that the tables were all littered with uncollected rubbish that had been left by other customers, as well as having finished our drinks, we were unable to put our empty drink cups in the bins as they were full to overflowing, thus preventing us from disposing them in the bins.

But upon examination of the lid, there were multiple places where the lid was broken and the plastic was broken. My daughter is old enough (10 years old) that she was able to detect the difference in texture from the ice cream, but my concern is for children that are younger.
Looking at the piece of the broken lid, it is large enough that it could have gotten lodged in the throat of smaller children and caused physical damage. I went back to the store to talk to the manager on duty, but he said that this was the first time he has seen anything like this. Finally, she looked at the window, and I politely asked for a receipt, and she stared at the machine with a lost look on her face. She looked back at me with an embarrassed look. I said to her making a joke, and attempting to get her in gear, "do you even know what day of the week it is"? Everybody behind me was honking, and the 2nd window had been holding my food out, waving at me for almost 5 minutes. I said this, all in a fairly low voice, without getting too excited at this point. He said, "I will get you a receipt".
Then we moved to the next window, and got my food. My wife, at this point, had not seen his name tag that noted that he was one of the managers, and she leaned over and said, "is the head manager around tonight". Then David ran up to the window and with a real smirk on his face said, "Oh, you thought you were going to get me in trouble, but you see I am the manager". I said, "well you have a boss and he is going to hear about this". He said, " I am the manager, that's the end of the discussion".
Now, at this point I was starting to get upset, and was now ready to drive off. I said "drop dead". He said to me, " you already look like you're dead". What a nice, professional way to handle a customer, and get repeat business.
David is not management material. I was at the McDonald's at SR135, near the Kroger shopping center during the holidays. There was a nicely dressed gentleman standing at the front counter when my wife and I walked in on a Friday evening about 6:30 PM. He was waiting for his food, and was starting to get upset.
I had waited a little while, and finally he said to what looked like the operations manager, "I'd like to get my food. I have 5 grandchildren waiting to eat". The manager handled it professionally, and courteously. He said, "Sir I'm sorry about the wait and for your inconveience. Here's your food. We've just been exceptionally busy, which I guess is a good thing, but I do apologize. Thank you again for waiting."
Now, we have poor young David who needs to take the trash out, and flip the fries, because he likes to put the customers down. How many times has he done this to people like my wife and her mother, who are just too sweet to complain. I, on the other hand, don't mind being a pain in the ass, because I just won't go back to that location until he moves on, which won't be long. I imagine someone that is actually in the resturant will go across the counter someday and they will have to call the cops, and that will end his career as one of your employees.
I do hope I get to see this on YouTube, as I did watch a black lady get up on the counter at Burger King, and vent. David has no "people skills". He's never taken any management classes in "handling customers and/or irate customers". How about just being a considerate human being, and not having to enter in to an argument with the customer.
This is the sort of thing that the Greenwood and Whiteland papers need to get in their "sound off about it" columns. Well, we'll see if anyone can "talk some sense in to this peacock". I never called his boss at the local store, because I knew he would lie in advance about it to his boss, and get his girlfriend to back him up. I know that this is a separate franchise that gets to do their own little program. Maybe for the sake of the McDonald's Nationwide's reputation, you can "smack their little hands", and help them to see what everyone always says, "the customer is always right". I can't wait until David gets a really upset customer over a blatant error by an employee, and if he "blows up again".

I purchased a small hazelnut latte through the drive-thru on Monday, 28 November. I traveled several miles and when I tasted it, there was no taste. Then, when I got it down to where I could shake it up, it was "sickeningly" sweet. I could not drink it and had to throw it away. I kept my receipt and returned this morning. I told them about it and they said that they had to have the product. I asked, "What should I have done, turn around and go ten miles backtracking to return it?" She said that the rule is that you return the product.
We have a TV station in my area where we can call and they will come out and we can air our complaints on TV with viewing in three states. I am seriously thinking of doing this to let everyone know what terrible service you provide and then do not want to make it right. First of all, you all need to train your people or get someone who is "trainable" and teach them how to prepare a product. You also need to advise them that they need to at least give a napkin when going through the drive-thrus. I have to ask every time for a napkin. This is very poor service.

We stopped at the McDonald’s at TD Bank Garden in Boston after seeing TSO to eat while we waited for the train. I got a #5 meal (Crispy chicken sandwich), my son got a #6, and my husband got a cheeseburger. The fries were soggy and cold. The hamburger was not cooked in the middle. After eating a few bites of my chicken sandwich, I realized it was raw in the middle. The line was so long to take it back that I just threw it away. Today, I feel nauseous and have to wonder about salmonella or food poisoning! Not a good way to end a family excursion and may now miss work if I am sick from it. On Friday, November 25th, I went through the drive-thru in Gustine California along with other items. I ordered a fruit and walnut salad. On my way home, I opened and started to eat my salad and came across a grape with mold on it. I then checked the date on the packaging and it said November 21st. That is four days expired. We then turned and went back to McDonald's and I asked to speak with the manager and showed her the salad and all they did was give me my money back. (I took pictures of my receipt, the grape with mold, and the wrapper. )
My family and I enjoy McDonald's but after this experience, I don't know that we will return. I'm really disappointed on how someone's carelessness of not checking the date can change my outlook on one of our favorite restaurants. The possibility of me getting food poisoning or getting sick from eating the mold is something I am greatly concerned with. I do not wish to make a big scene or go to the media about this so I hope this gets looked into and someone contacts me.

It was around 2:00A.M., November 25, 2011. We had just arrived at a 24-hour McDonald’s restaurant drive-thru at corner of Jackson St. and Watkins St. at Hayward, California. We had just ordered from a male person a go-large 20-piece Mc Nugget meal at the first window, which includes 2 large drinks and 2 large fries along with another extra large fry plus we requested for 2 BarBQ sauce and 2 honey mustard which goes with the meal. As we arrived at the second window, a white lady helped us. The first thing she gave was our 2 large drinks, which was not a problem. Then she brought and gave one big bag with the 3 large fries and the 20 piece nuggets. Then I noticed that the 3 French fries was not much. I even looked at her and said these looks like medium fries. She answered, "That’s all we have for now." She then closed the window on us. Me and my wife looked at each other, then we both waited for 15 seconds but she never went back to the window and assist us. I could not go out because I was so tired from a Thanksgiving party we just came from.
As we left I, was looking at her window and there she pops out helping the next customer. When we got home, I noticed more things were missing from the bag. There was no straws for our drinks, no napkins to wipe with, no sauce that goes with the meal. It was a very unprofessional service. We were so disappointed with the service. I don't know what to say if it’s a management issue or if it’s with that particular employee only. I think it’s little bit of both. I'm sure we are never going to that McDonald’s ever again. They need to improve the training for new employee or retrain the employees. I recommend that an undercover inspector goes there and try ordering and be observant.

You would think by the high price and location that the treatment from the employees serving the customers would be world class. But these people they've hired are lower than low class. They are rude, disrespectful and non-sympathetic.
I've worked in the Renaissance building in Detroit for over 6 years, my colleagues and I have complained to the franchise owner of this McDonald's on numerous occasions however nothing has changed, it actually got worse. We don't go to this place anymore and the experience has caused me not to go to McDonald's anywhere else.
When you spend your hard money for food outside of the grocery store, you expect to be respected for patronizing the business and receiving a good product and service because you could have spent your hard earned money somewhere else. But the way these managers and employees treat you at this particular location makes me believe that these employees don't need a job and that McDonald's has become such a conglomerate that they don't need my business.

I am and have been an employee of a McDonald's restaurant here in Yreka, CA located near the Oregon border - approximately 19 miles south - and the I-5 Corridor goes right through the middle. Just to let you know, I have been happily (as minimum wage jobs go) employed here for almost three years. I am attending a local community college full-time and also working full-time.
Since I started working here at McDonald's, I have been a closing shift crew member, and my usual shifts are always 5 PM to 1 AM, 6 PM to 2 AM, or 7 PM to 3 AM, depending upon the time of the year. This particular McDonald's is a franchise owned by two local women; they also own another McDonald's in a neighboring town located about 25 miles south of Yreka, CA.
I work in either one of the two drive-thru windows on almost every shift I have ever worked during the last three years, and I am really very good at it; our regular customers love me, to pretty much sum up what they actually say to me and my co-workers and managers on a regular basis. We encourage them to call the 1-800 number to record their comments - yes, we do get our share of complaints as well, but that wouldn't be realistic to be coating the truth with heavy syrup. Of course, you will always deal with **, grouches, and ** no matter what you may (or may not) do for a living; wherever your path of life leads you, people on both sides of the fence will deal with other **, grouches, and **, either as a customer or as someone who works with the public. My line of work puts me directly in the path of thousands of people every month, hundreds each and every day that I work.
We have our share of complaints about our guests, just like many of you have about us. For example, one day, the power went down due to a huge power surge in a grid; the power was down for more than two hours, so instead of serving food to people, we were throwing away lots of it that was pre-cooked and/or pre-thawed. All of our machines - ice cream, frappe, McCafe, coffee makers - everything was down and out because they all run off of electricity. Our ice cream machine (soft-serve) in particular, after being down for more than one hour, goes into "heat-mode" which triggers it to shut down for at least three to four hours, and sometimes longer. This also happens every night after we close the restaurant and leave for the night. In the morning it is brought back to life, but only following the "heat-mode" status.
So during this power outage of reference, we closed our doors for business; however, we had to leave them open due to the fact that our stacks that suck out all the smoke from our grills and fryers also run on electricity, and we couldn't breathe without opening windows and doors to cross-ventilate our work area. Meanwhile, as potential (and extremely disappointed) guests came and went, we were flipped off, cussed at, yelled at, sniffed at - pretty much every kind of attack I can think of, short of physical violence, during the entire time. We even had a couple of people try to crawl through our drive-thru window to get in, and all they wanted was food; it's not like they were trying to rob us or anything - they just really, really wanted to get in the restaurant.
So while many people complain like they do of the horrible service they get at McDonald's restaurants, they continue to beat the doors down to get in and buy a cheeseburger and fries, etc. Many of our regular customers come through the drive-thru, during my shift alone, as much as three to four times a night. It's crazy.
So about the power outage - to finish the story - we were able to reopen about three hours later when the power finally came back on, but we couldn't serve any ice cream because the machine was in "heat-mode," and, I kid you not, people were extremely rough with words and attitudes because they couldn't get an ice cream cone. So maybe there are some of us who just act out in return to getting thrashed on by guests who think little of the minimum wage earner, the blue collar worker who by their definition may very well be a "loser" in their lofty opinions.
That being said, fast food in general is for convenience to the customer stand-alone. When you come in to any fast food drive-thru, please try to be ready to order. Don't make your order-taker wait three or four minutes before you are even ready to place your order while they wait for you to get off your cell phone. Calm down the kids in the back seat, decide what you want to order, look for your money. There are a variety of other things to do behind the scenes that during all that empty non-productive time while some of you pull your head out of your ** could be better spent doing, not to mention that now there are a minimum of, lets say, six to eight cars waiting behind you. Some of them turned around and went elsewhere or came inside because unlike you, they were ready to place an order. All this is maybe because you just wanted to be ahead of everyone else at the front of the line, am I right?
I only know these things because I have been guilty of these social crimes myself, and having been on both sides, I understand how things tick, which makes me more tolerant than most. But it also has taken a heavy toll on me until every once in a great while I get to blow off some steam. This was just that kind of an opportunity. So I will close now by simply saying, "Please, and thank you."

Please make all of the chains in Martinique better for all.

It seems like service in restaurants are just getting out of control or ignored by managers these days.
Colfax and Kipling McDonalds in Lakewood, CO is a brand new store with horrible service. The kid couldn't hear anything, first of all. So they put him in drive thru. Smart! I ordered just a McFlurry. That's it, one item! I got a small, but paid for large and the cup was half full.
Come on, people! How hard is it to complete an order for one item? I am really worried our nation's youth is confused or just don't have any pride left! Do your job or quit and let someone else run the show so us consumers will continue to show up and spend our money.

Honestly, I don’t get this! People are being so judgmental about this. I do understand that some of the restaurants' standards are very poor but you should get this, these people who are working in McDonalds' are being treated like dirt all day by the customers. Just because it's called fast food you all expect them to serve you in 10 seconds, have you ever thought about the people who are working there? They need to earn money to take care of their family and studies etc., but they have to ask their managers to drink water or to go to the toilet.
They work their butts' off, and what do they get? Only minimum wage and lots of crap from customers acting like people working there are idiots! Just put yourselves in their shoes, have you ever worked there, under so much pressure? And when it comes to using gloves, do you really think that when you go to a classy restaurant those chefs are using gloves to cook your precious food?
Do you know that people who work in McDonalds' have to wash their hands like every 10 minutes, whilst your classy restaurants chefs wash their hands every 30 minutes or maybe an hour or maybe not until the end of the night? If you've been there more than once or twice, and you are not sure about the quality, service, professionalism, don't go there then! No one is telling you that you have to eat at McDonalds. I mean what do you expect from a 2 dollar burger? And for the people who say that they got their order mixed up , stop being too self-centered and stop being so obsessed with the food. Maybe the person who got your order mixed wasn't having a good day maybe her or his mom was in a hospital at the other part of the town and she or he couldn’t be there and they had to work on that day . They couldn’t get their head together and gave you a Big Mac instead of your precious Quarter! What’s the difference, get over it?
Everyone knows what you're going to get at McDonalds; maybe you should work on your expectations. After all, the people who are working there could be your kids, your neighbors’ kid, your niece , your nephew etc , but who raised those kids? You, your neighbor, your sister, or your brother, they made those kids so carefree and rude. So stop blaming them because the behavior is learned, you aren't born with it. FYI, I've never worked at McDonalds not my relatives or anyone that I know.

I went to the drive thru to order some food. I paid for it, drove away and started to eat the fries, which were stale. I tried the milkshakes and they were so sweet you could not drink them. They were so yellow in color.
Most times, the food has been sitting under the heat lamp for how long you don't know. You pay a lot of money for this stuff and in return, you get crap food that gets thrown away. I'm sick of this. And this is not the only place this happens. You might as well throw your money out the instead of getting fast food.

Every time we have ever been to McDonald's (Highway 49S in Richland, MS) it has been horrible; the service, cleanliness-- inside and out. Last night, the drive-through order taker, argued with my husband about what he ordered. She had already dropped the ball at the speaker by not responding back to us in the middle of our order. The second window was not any better. Thugs who talk and act like thugs. No manners at all. I was almost ready to come out of the car, and it was my husband they were so darn rude to. We will never do business with McDonald's again.

When I entered the bathroom with my child to wash our hands, an employee of yours came out the stall with a cellphone in her hands and never even stopped to wash her hands! That was enough for me! Leaving the bathroom, I witness this lady handing a customer her food. By this time I felt sick and realized how nasty employees can be. Thanks but no thanks for this type of service!

The McDonald's on Oxford State Road in Middletown, Ohio is the worst one I have ever been in. I have been going there for many years. But the last couple of months have been horrible! I don't know what kinds of changes have happened there, but something needs to be done to fix this problem. One time, my order was messed up three times before I even received my food. The second time, they made us pull to the side, granted I know sometimes this happens no big deal. But there were six cars at a time! And the worker came out going from car to car with the food, asking "what did you order" to give the right customer the right food. That is very sad! The third time in two months, I was denied a receipt because they were out of paper. So, someone is clearly not doing their job! Also, every time I want to get an ice cream, the machine doesn't work. I see a lot of young people working in there. I know they need a job too. But at least put a grown up there to babysit them, because all they do is goof off and mess everyone's order up. Please help this McDonald's or you will lose my business. Thank you. Sincerely, Lisa **

My family and I are always eating McDonald's. Therefore, they receive a lot of my money. The past 4 times I have gone there, through the drive-thru, I have been parked for simple orders and have waited up to 30 minutes. One day, I got tired of waiting. So, I went in to see what the hold up was. The employees were in there playing, and my order was just sitting on the counter. There was no telling how long it had been there, because the order was cold.
Another time after waiting outside, after being parked, I once again went in to check on my food, in case they had just sat it on the counter and forgot about it again. I was going to speak to the manager about the terrible customer service. But she was too busy cursing out another customer, simply because he was also upset about the wait he had. At the time of the argument between the two, it was a lobby full of customers. When the man stated he would go over her and complain, she said she didn’t give a ** because no one would do anything about it. This seems to be very true. I feel like if the local store cannot get its managers and employees in order, then it needs to be shut down completely because the service is that awful. If it really kills you to smile and you don’t like your job, then get away from customer service!

On June 19, 2011 at about 10:20 PM, my wife and I stopped at the McDonald's located at 1335 S Washington, Emmett, Idaho to pick up movies we had reserved online from Redbox. We parked immediately in front of the Redbox machine on the left (machine A). After collecting the movies, I returned to the car to leave, but the car would not start. In McDonald's I told the girl working behind the counter that our car was parked in front of the Redbox and wouldn't start. I told her we needed to leave it parked there until we could figure out a way to get it. I also told her it was a blue-green Intrepid. The girl told us that she will let her manager know about the car, and it would be okay. I ordered my wife some food then we left McDonald's at 10:50 PM. The following morning (June 20), I met the tow truck provided by our insurance company at McDonalds to pick up our car. To my surprise I found that our car was gone.
The manager, Matt **, said they had to have the car towed for their service truck to get in, and he was sorry it had to be done. He gave me a business card from the tow company who had done the towing, Black Canyon Towing and Recovery. Upon calling Black Canyon Towing I learned it would cost us $190.00 in cash to get the car out, if it was before 5:00 PM. We finally obtained the money to get our car back by getting a loan from Money Tree. This cost us an additional $54.65, which we could not afford to spend at this time, but it was our only option. Not only had we been given permission to leave the car parked there, I have since learned that the towing of the vehicle from McDonalds was illegal to begin with because there were no signs posted, as per Idaho code 49-1806.
I have contacted the manager of the McDonald's in Emmett, Matt **, and his boss, Diane **. Neither would do anything to help me. I have tried contacting Richard Darmody, President of Darmody Enterprises, who owns a number of the local McDonald's, including the one in Emmett. I have received no response whatsoever from him. I have tried contacting McDonald’s main office in Oak Brook, Illinois, and have no response as of now either. McDonald's is responsible for this incident. I prefer to give them the opportunity to make this right by reimbursing me for the costs incurred, $190.00 for the towing and $54.65 for the loan, totaling to $244.65. However, the longer they ignore my complaint and fail to respond to me, the more inclined I am to take legal action.

This happened today, September 4, 2011 at about 6:30 PM at McDonalds Restaurant on 144 Deming Rd. in Manchester, CT.
I purchased a quarter pounder sandwich with a medium size coffee at the drive-thru window. I proceeded to the first window and paid for my food. At the second window, I was given a large iced coffee. I told the girl that I ordered a hot coffee not an iced coffee and I wanted to have the extra money back.
They wanted me to get fries instead of the money. I told the girl at the window that all I wanted was my money back. I finally received my hot coffee and my sandwich. Then I was told to park on the side of the parking lot and that the girl will bring me the money to the car.
While I waited, I opened up my quarter pounder sandwich to eat it. When I looked in the box, there were rodent droppings in the box. When the girl came with the money, I showed her the box and gave her the sandwich back. She said, "We don't reimburse the money" so she gave me another sandwich to replace the first one.
Sir, I lost my appetite. I do eat at McDonald’s quite often and I enjoy a good quarter pounder. I know that I will not go back to that restaurant again. I would like to be reimbursed for my meal since I was not able to eat the sandwich that I was given after seeing the rodent droppings.

I am sending you this correspondence to inform you of my experience on 9/2/11 at 11 pm. I had arrived at 11 pm and used the drive through, placed my order, paid at the first window, and then waited for 40 minutes before reaching the second window to retrieve my food. While waiting at the second window, I observed the drive through attendant standing at the front counter chatting with a customer who was not placing an order. When she returned to the window, she couldn't remember whether she had given me my drink or not. I said, "No," and then she gave me a half full cup. I told her about the drink and she unapologetically made another drink.
When I inquired about the wait time, she gave an excuse (not a reason) of, "Well, it's Friday night," which I could only take that she meant that it's extra busy on a Friday night, which it wasn't. I decided to just forget it and go home. On the way home, I was checking the order and then discovered that I had waited 40 minutes for an incomplete order. I returned to the store, obviously upset, and knocked on the door to get the attention of the employees.
I have to assume that the teenaged employee who answered the door was the manager or a supervisor because he was wearing a blue uniform shirt. He opened the door and said, "What's the problem." I said, "I was given an incomplete order." He returned with, "Well, you don't need to be banging on my door." I ignored the rude comment and told him, "I was shorted two McChickens," and handed him the receipt. He turned to go back into the store and I followed. As he was returning behind the counter he commented, "So you came banging on my door over two McChickens."
I couldn't believe my ears and responded to his comment harshly about my 40 minute wait for substandard service. Without further comment, he proceeded to the kitchen and then returned with the rest of my order at which time he said (without apology and with an extreme sarcastic tone), "Here you are sir. Have a nice day." On my way out the door, I couldn't help but notice how the dining room had customers in it well past closing time without McDonald's products at their tables and that all of these customers appeared to be under aged minors (teens). If it seems that I am insinuating something, I am.
It appeared these customers were being allowed to stay without any other reason than they were friends of the employees (special favors). I know that this low level of service and this undisciplined level of management is not the standard of the McDonald's corporation. Please feel free to respond back to me with your findings. I hope something can be done to correct this problem. Thank you for your time in considering the gravity of my complaint.

The lady proceeds to hand me the wrong sized drink and when I tell her I had a large not a small, she just blames it on the guy who took my order. The order on my receipt was correct but I just say, "Thank you" once I get the correct drink.
After a few more minutes, I get my food and pull up to check it. Of course, it is incorrect, so I park and walk inside. After waiting in line for about ten minutes, I get up to the counter, show my receipt, and ask for the correct food. The cashier walks it over and asks them to remake it. So, I step to the side and wait another ten minutes. Once I get my food, I thank them and go back out to my car. Luckily I checked it before I went because it was wrong again! It's like they just gave me the same food back.
So, I walk back in, get back in line, wait about 5 minutes get cut in line so I have to wait even longer. I finally get back to the front and ask for a refund, hand them the food back, and place the drink on the counter. The cashier proceeds to tell the girl beside them to get the manager, so she screams to the back that there is a refund. Finally, another employee takes the food back and comes back with a partial refund. I let her know the correct price I was supposed to receive and she walks back again. Not once has the manager made an appearance and all the other employees are just staring at me. Finally the lady comes back the second time, still with the incorrect refund. A second employee walks to the back and after a few minutes, comes up and informs me with a very rude attitude that they will not give me the rest unless I bring the drink back, which as mentioned before, I had.
So I pick up the drink on the counter in front of her and show it to her telling her I had it. She proceeds to snatch up the drink, walks to the sink, dumps it out, and exaggeratedly throws it away. She also goes and picks up the food bag I had brought to do the same. After another few minutes of waiting, they finally came back with my full refund. Not once did they apologize and not once did the manager make an appearance.

My friend and sister were present and immediately went to seek management, while I sat in shock, and began snapping pictures of the foreign object. It took the police arriving on site just to get the cooperation of management to provide me with an incident report!
Not only that, the staff did not remove the tea containers from the lobby area for at least 20 minutes! Not joking! I literally have had no appetite the remainder of that day or today and even threw up shortly after leaving McDonald's.
That is one of the most disgusting and traumatizing experiences any customer could ever have! If we wanted to eat cockroaches and other insect parts, wouldn't that be free? They embarrassed me in front of numerous customers and thought I was in the wrong. I just want respect as a human being and a paying customer. Thank you for having this website, I couldn't navigate on old Macdonald's.

Customer service is very poor. This McDonald's is on my way to work. Anytime you go to McDonald's, they are very slow and lines are backed up. This morning at 9 a.m., the line was backup down East Jefferson. I had to leave once again with no service. Sitting in the downtown area of Detroit, we should be able to go and get breakfast on the way to work and lunch in a reasonable time.

I took my two sons to McDonalds for lunch on August 1, 2011 at 11:45 am. It was the beginning of the lunch rush. I ordered two kids meals and a double quarter pounder with cheese meal with an extra sandwich. When I got the food and sat down to eat, I noticed that my hamburger was not fully cooked. It still had blood running out of the meat. I took it back to the manager who very rudely said, "Ok, so do you want another burger or a refund?" I was so disgusted, I just turned around and walked away. I had to double-check that my children's food was done. When I returned home, I became ill.

We went through the drive-thru at around 11:20PM. We stood in line for about 10 minutes and they finally took our order. We paid and pulled up to a second window where they asked us to pull up so they could help the customers behind us. We parked in front of the store and waited another 10 minutes while 4 cars received their order before us. The girl on drive-thru, who finally brought us our food, was very rude and did not apologize for the wait or thanked us for our service. We checked our food and found that we were missing some fries and the sauce for the nuggets we ordered. My husband had to get out and ask them for what we were missing. They ignored him standing there and when he finally got their attention, Claudia, the Manager, asked another worker to hand him the order. They took another 5 minutes just to get some fries. Because the worker that was asked to get the fries acted as if she didn't hear anything, and so my husband had to ask the Manager once again. She gave him attitude and handed him the bag.

We walked into McDonald's and went straight to the restroom. My sister's boyfriend was waiting for us in line to order. As we walked out of the restroom to order, the lady at counter asked us how we had gotten inside if it was closed in an extremely rude and loud voice. She said she would take his order but not ours, he explained we were together and still refused to take our order.
Then, we stepped outside to make a phone call and complain to the manager about the incident. She said that she would take care of it. We were watching from the outside as I hung up the phone and one of the managers began laughing with the person I had spoken to.

Middle-aged manager who has her kids also working there allowed them to steal food from store (never paid for meals). Manager has what is called "** of the day", discusses other employees in a bad way with other employers who are not management. Totally and completely unprofessional in every aspect. Talks about employees' personal matters that were to be confidential with her sons and fellow crew members, which I believe is invasion of privacy and very inappropriate.
That is the worst business I have ever worked for and I recommend to never apply there. They will treat you like crap and make you do all the work simply because you are the new person. In my opinion, most of the managers and crew members should be fired. I am filing charges against them. Also, there was a girl who got jealous because they had her husband helping me work and threatened to punch me in the face.
I hardly received any proper training, actually none at all but when I had to do something that I was never trained to do and I messed up or had to ask for help, I would get scolded and was treated very rudely. There is so much bad things to report I can't even finish!

On Tuesday, July 26,2011, I visited Ms Quintana's McDonalds with my grandchild where they were having free face painting for the kids with the purchase of an ice cream cone or a sundae.
I purchased two sundaes and two cones and was given a ticket with the number five to establish my place in line. Ms Quintana walked into the restaurant with two children, she seated her child to get her face painted immediately after the first person who was in line was done.
I asked her what her number was and she responded that she does not have one and that her child will be next because she is the owner. I advised her that placing her child first above all the other children who were waiting was unfair and unprofessional. I asked her again for clarification if she was the owner and she raised her voice in front of everyone, including my grandchild and quoted, "I am the owner. Do you want me to repeat it again, do you not understand? I am the owner and if it was you, you would've done the same thing and it will only take two minutes."
Celeste Quintana was very disrespectful and condescending and unprofessional. I asked to make a complaint and was given a book, which contained other complaints. I asked for a copy of the written complaint that I made. The cashier went to make the copy and returned empty-handed because she was told that she was not allowed to make the copy. While at the counter, Ms Quintana eventually approached my grandchild, apologized and gave her a balloon but I feel that she tried to humiliate me and I deserve a formal apology as well.

This morning however, not only did I wait; I waited for fifteen minutes, and still the wrong order was brought out to me. I can definitely understand having to wait a few minutes sometimes. I know that the restaurant is busy. Is having your customers wait that long acceptable? Is having their orders constantly wrong acceptable? I would think that no company, even McDonald's, would want to be represented this poorly. Changes need to be made.

I asked her where this is posted and why she didn't inform me of this ahead of time before charging me. She stated that it is not posted and that it was basically a policy. I did not have a phone number for the local office, so I sent an email to the corporate office. I received a phone call back saying that they would send me a coupon to replace the sandwich I paid for. I never got the coupon, and I have never called and complained like this before.
Well, the manager of McDonald's that I went to, called me up and pretty much leaned on me to say it was my fault, and actually told me he would not argue with me over it. I just let it go. I'm a shift manager at McDonald's and very unhappy as an employee here. I never felt so unhappy at a work place before. I was given a quarter raise from regular crew member to pick up all this other work. I was started off doing overnights and was getting paid minimum wage at the time. I told her I couldn't do it anymore 'cause it was exhausting. I had three kids at home and wasn't getting any sleep. I was only doing it for a favor for her in the beginning anyways. After that she went around telling others she wasn't gonna make me a manager. I got switched to work 9-3 that lasted two weeks the opening manager quite cause she was fed up.
I was placed to open without being asked I was put to be there 6 to 2. I had to find someone to send my kids to school and everything. When the beginning of the year started, I was told when we got mystery shop if we had a pass on our shift we would get a reward if we failed we would be written up. Well, 2 months ago I got mystery shop on my shift it was at 11:45. We passed, I had to leave early that day. So when I found out I was like O that was my shift but I wasn't being given credit. She was trying to take the credit herself. I confronted her and was like listen I was here she told me no you left I had to show her that I was still there and didn't do a deposit.
Then she was like okay you'll split it with another manager. One month passed, the other manager asked her what was going on with the prize, she said, "Oh, I have the check in my purse, I haven't cashed it to other manager was fired. She told me to keep her money but its been almost three months, I still haven't received anything. Something has to be done with this manager. She is very rude and is a bad example for the company, she makes false statements and took this money for herself when it wasn't for her plus this store is awful, it's literally falling apart. The night crew here is terrible as well, the store be a mess, very nasty, I had told her and she just ignores me about it, I can't tolerate working here anymore. I started classes and told her I couldn't run any shifts, I told her I have class from 9 to 1 and can open 6 to 845 then come work 1 to 3 that would give me at least 19 hours she dropped me down to 12 hours and told others I was quitting which isn't true.

Well I finally got a call about an application I put in for a job at this location. That alone took three weeks to contact me. I was asked to come in on May 13 for an interview at 3 p.m. I arrived at 2:45 p.m. I went to let the manager know I was there. I took a seat and waited for the interview. At 3:45 p.m., the manager Tina came to me and asked me if I wanted something to drink,I said sure. Tina also informed me that she "walked into a huge mess and a lot of staff called out that day". I said okay, I will wait. Once again Tina came back to me and asked me if I could come back on May 14 to do the interview. I understood the place was crazy and I agreed, even though I was asked to come back on Mother's Day for the interview. I came back for the interview and everything seemed great. Tina assured me she would get with Andrew and get me the right size of uniforms shirts.
Okay, no problem. I stayed home that few days hoping they would call me for orientation. I got the call and I was to go in for orientation on May 16 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. I was finished with the orientation and was handed my uniforms in a McDonald's bag. Andrew assured me he would have Tina call me either Thursday or Friday. When I got home from orientation on the 16th, I opened the bag with the blue uniform shirts (2) in them and they were filthy. They were very dirty and so was the visor.
Okay, well I washed them, even though I agreed on paper to have $25 dollars taken out of my first check for a uniform deposit, I washed them. I called McDonald's on May17 to let Andrew or Tina know the shirts were not the size we agreed on. I was told just then that neither Tina nor Andrew were on/at work that day at all. Okay so, mind you, here I am waiting for a call back about the uniforms, not to mention I did not know whether to cancel two appointments I had that week for my kids. I did end up canceling the appointments and made them for a later date (May 23) in case I got the call to start training.
So basically, I waited from the 17th of May and on for the call. Well I didn't wait any longer. I called McDonald's on May 21 and spoke with Tina. I asked Tina on the phone if she knew when I would start. She told me, "Well I know Andrew had to fix the schedule. You might want to call him Sunday" or she was going to have him call me. No call from anyone on Sunday until Sunday night while I'm in a sound sleep, my home phone rings at 10:15 p.m. I make it to the phone and it stops ringing. I opened both eyes to see who had the nerve to call my house at 10:15 p.m. Well, turns out the voice mail was from Tina, letting me know I was on the schedule on Monday(23) at 3 p.m.
Well, after the way I waited all week for the word about starting, and the fact I was given dirty uniforms and visor and the fact that I kept those appointments I already had set up for my kids and the fact I got a call on my home phone at 10:15 p.m. (when everyone's sleeping (my kids get up at 6 a.m. for school), I have decided when they call me to see where I am at 3 p.m. today, I'm not answering the call. That's a heck of a way to do business, and it showed me just how unprofessional they were about the hiring process. I'm not taking the job. I got a better offer and was hired in one day. I will return the clean uniform shirts and visor and that's it for me when it comes to needing a job so much that I let all my morals go to hell. I do not wait around for anyone, but I did. And now they can wait on the uniforms.

I was hired by McDonald's as part of the National Hiring Day Campaign. My first day on the job was a bad experience because I overheard the manager, Trenell, state to another employee, "Oh, he is sweating, do you think that the man needs CPR he is overweight and he is almost 50 years old. I am considered to be overweight and I am 43. I did not respond because I need a job to survive. I also was told by another manager, Cliff, not to ask him any questions at all. Cliff constantly ignores me all day long. When I ask Cliff a question, he walks off and ignores me all day long.
He also refuses to open the back door where I can put the trash out. I have to drag the trash across the entire parking lot and when the bag breaks, he stands in the window with his arms folded just looking at me. I was hired as the maintenance man making $7.25 per hour, whereby other stores start the maintenance men off with 8 or 9 dollars per hour. I have called all sorts of numbers and have not been able to get any straight answers as to my salary. I have been working there for three weeks and still on probation and still have questions and cannot get any answers. I pick up the parking lot and have not been supplied with gloves to protect me from germs or any harm to my hand. I am in desperate need of assistance and answers.
I feel like I am not a part of the corporation at all. I am treated so badly. I was embarrassed by the comment about me being 50 years old and needing CPR. I feel that if they noticed that I was having problems, they could have offered me water or a break at that time. Other employees have noticed this mistreatment as well.

Store #7669 - You do not know me. I am a regular customer, but I'm not sure how much longer I can feel good about purchasing food items there. What I am about to write to you, I have witnessed over 6 times, making comments only about a couple, on the managers and others at the cash registers.
I have noticed that over those 6 times, the sandwich makers, prepares, etc. located nearest the drive-through window across from the deep fryers (I'm sure you know where I mean), do not wear gloves when touching guests foods. It is sickening for me to realize that even my food may have been touched by human hands there, only because they are not forced to as I think it is required for health reasons, sanitary, etc. I have even seen this with managers present and, there is absolutely no way that the managers would not have noticed that they were not using the "light blue" gloves for protection. This is so very sad.
Now, you may be the franchise owner and unaware of this, so for that reason alone, and all this unknown to you, I did not bbc this to McDonald's headquarters, although, quite frankly, they should be made aware. I am hoping this letter alone wakes someone up and makes immediate changes. Something must be done. I am not certain of Florida law about making videos, etc., although that would be very easy to do, proving all I have said here. Hoping that is unnecessary, I hope I am writing to someone who actually cares about their employee's behavior and their guest's/customer's health. Someone needs to.
Just one more thing that I couldn't possibly have overlooked or two, possibly; one is that a manager was on their smoke break outside, near the tables as I was parking to go inside. I was inside no longer than 10 seconds after parking and noticed that one of the smokers was already behind the counter and helping with packaging food for the drive-through .There is absolutely no way she could have washed her hands in the amount of time from re-entering, when I saw her by the drive-through. It is impossible. Moreover, this makes absolutely no sense to me. I have always regarded McDonald's as an upstanding corporation that sets the highest standards for making safe food products, untouched by hands. This just sickens me.
The very next time I am in the store at 4145 49th St. N. St. Pete, FL and I notice someone touching other guest's foods. I will be telling the guest themselves when they are handed their food, not raising my voice or even making a scene. I would just be truthful. I have seen the YouTube video where some customers go nuts, but not me as I am a peaceful man. Would you want someone who is not using gloves touch your food? I think not; no, of course not, so why should unsuspecting guests have to tolerate such behavior? Again, it makes me sick and I have no answers. I do hope to hear back from someone with answers, even if this is brand new information to them.
All I am saying here is that this a ridiculous practice and it must be stopped immediately. Again, I did not bbc anyone else. I am hoping you or someone that you trust can stop this practice. It is utterly amazing to see them with no gloves, not just once, but again, over a half dozen times. I just refuse to be someone who does nothing about such behavior; hence, my commenting on foods handed to guests when I see for myself that humans have touched their food. Now, if the customer, after me calmly telling him about hands on his food, tells me to mind my own business, then I would only say to myself, "It's your health, my friend. If you do not care, then I can see where McDonald's doesn't either," and just shaking my head, but remaining quite. Again, not to be rude, but I wouldn't care if the managers, or anyone else heard my comment to the customer.
So, seeing them prepare foods without gloves is not a one-time thing, and I have mentioned it quietly to a couple of managers there so no one would feel embarrassed about it, but truthfully, some of those managers, I honestly feel, knew that no gloves were being used. It's sad but true. I hope this has been informative enough to help you.

Marvin, the manager on duty, comes back with them forcibly not playing around as they make it seem I mean him and his boss, Kathy. The three packages went through the window, hit her cigarette's lit tip off ,landing on her coat and burning it. She got burnt finger tip from removing it. My hand was on her leg so I was hit and so was she with the bags and it was not a gentle throw. I was very upset and said, "Hey why did you do that, ***" He hunches down and says, "It was a joke, dude." I said, "Well, it's not ** funny." He shoos me away with his hand and goes back inside.
I call the 1800 number to complain. The next day Kristina goes to work, gets off break. Felicia, Marvin's wife, who is a manager says if Brian tries to further this what I do to Marvin the manager in question he would do worse. He would probably end up killing as well as beat me up. She was harassed about this through out that day. Marvin called Kristina at work and said on the phone that if he would have continued the situation, he would have pulled me out of the car, all while she's at work so her boss Kathy tells her that it's all just playing around. She's not going to fire him for what he did and she will have him replace the coat. That's it, are you kidding me, right?
Okay, so she asks Kristina to have me and her come in today March 31 at 4:00 pm so we do and I taped the whole conversation. She said that his throwing was not assault and that she won't fire him for that no matter how upset I am. There are many details in the tape of her not letting us speak our side and not caring for the customer so we leave. Now her manager is Marvin, Felicia and Kathy that all do not take it seriously; the 2 of them are married so she's rude to her (conflict of interest) and the guy and to top all of it off, I can't get anything done because the McDonald's owner board ** the guy who runs it for McDonald's is Kathy's brother.
She calls 15 minutes after we get out of the meeting and starts chewing her out on the phone saying her job is on the line and other stuff ,she said I didn't understand what assault was and I grab the phone and had vulgar words for her and I didn't get much of that taped but a little bit I did just the end. I had to go get the recorder so now my girlfriend has to go to work where we have been assaulted by a manager, his wife is rude to her and Kathy is biased to the situation. We can't complain because her brother runs the building. All of this would not have been a problem with an apology and a free meal but we are seeking any help we can get. Fourth, when I got my large orange juice, which I asked for no ice, they gave me my cup and it was not filled all the way to the top.
So I asked them to put some more in the cup, they said they couldn't because the rest of the room in the cup was supposed to be for the ice, that I did not want. So when I was talking to the drive through person about putting some more orange juice in my cup, the manager walked up and asked, "What's the problem now? I already put bacon on your sandwich". I only had $20.00 in my pocket all day at work and I paid for my food with the money I had on me. The lady in the drive thru gave me my change which was a $10.00 bill, some singles and some change. At that time, I had a headache and want to stop at the store to pick up some headache medicine on my way home.
I immediately went to the store and when I was to pay for my medicine with the $10.00 that the lady had given me from McDonald's, the money was a fake $10.00 bill. So, I went back to the McDonald's in less than five minutes and tried to explain to the lady that she made a mistake and had given me a fake $10.00 bill. She started getting loud and saying to me that I was the one who made a mistake because she never gave me a fake $10.00 bill. I tried to explain to her that it may have been placed in the registrar by accident. She still continued to get loud so I asked to speak with her manager and the manager walked up stating without listening to me that the fake $10.00 bill did not come from there. So, nothing was done and the manager told me that I was not getting my money back and she took my name and number so she could call me if the McDonald's owner came in tomorrow.
They have now lost a loyal customer. I would like this investigated and would like to get my money back from them. I know they have cameras and was able to see what happened with my money. I am sure that I am not the first customer that they have scammed out of their money at a McDonald's, of all places.

The security guard approached me and my family and told us we have to leave if we are not eating McDonald's food. I tried to explain to him I had just arrived and to give me a chance to get my order together. He was rude and loud, and he kept telling me to "order now or leave." I complained to the manager who did nothing. I had to leave with my family, because I was being harassed. This happened last Jan. 5, 2011 at 6:59 p.m.
Both men refused to give me their names. That day other customers defended me, saying that the security guard always harassed the customers.

Long story short, I had the worst McDonalds experience I've ever had tonight. And I have no intention of ever returning. They are rude, combative, slow, have nasty food, and more. McDonalds exploits everyone, employees and customers alike.
