I had noticed the gentleman cleaning the fryer when he dropped the grate from inside the fryer onto the floor. He pushed the grate around on the floor until he was able to pick it up with the clean out hook. About a minute later, he then placed it on the counter alongside the basket for French fries. As I made the floor manager aware of this, I proceeded to take my bacon, egg and cheese bagel and unwrap it when I noticed that the bagel was green molded. I then took the sandwich back to the counter to get my money back and make the store manager, Leslie, aware of what was going on with both incidents. My colleague, Ed **, was waiting for me to lose my mind because everywhere I go, these types of thing just happen to me.

My husband and I are both middle-aged professionals who travel from Wisconsin to Ohio and Michigan to visit aging parents. We stopped at the McDonalds on the Skyway in Illinois around noon on 4/11/09. My husband was driving, drinking his coffee when he swallowed something. He gave it to me to look and I did. There were two worms in the coffee on the bottom and droppings. Of course he got sick. McDonalds on the Skyway is a high-profile restaurant and I am concerned that other people have gotten worms in their food or drinks. We felt comfortable stopping there due to McDonalds’ reputation. This is a franchise store and they are not abiding by the health guidelines of Chicago.
My husband was nauseated Sunday morning. We did not go to a doctor, as we need to have someone test the worms so we know what they are. I have photos, etc. The franchise store had a young girl call who said she was new and really didn’t know what to do. The second young girl who called said she was glad husband was feeling ok and said goodbye. I am appalled that McDonalds can get away with this. It ruined our entire Easter weekend and of course, we would never patronize McDonalds again.

My son's wife worked for McDonald's at two locations. She went to one store to get her W2 form, but when she went to the other, she got the runaround. We were finally sent to the main office in Anderson. We were told that it had been mailed and we would have to pay $5 to get a copy. We never received it and don't think we should have to pay to get another one. This is their responsibility. We have no way to know if it was really mailed. We were told they would order another one and it should be in on Tuesday, and we could pick it up after paying the $5. There is no guarantee that it will be in and we are running out of time. I know $5 is a small amount, but it is the principle of the situation. I thought it was their responsibility to get these to the employees before 1-31-09.

On 4/5/09, we went in to eat while traveling. This was the most filthy McDonald's I have ever seen. The dining area was worse than most service station rest rooms. When my food arrived, the box had a greasy hand-print on the top. There was something black growing all around the drink machine, and there were cigarette butts and puddles on the floor. I didn't eat the food because I was afraid to - I simply left and went elsewhere. But this place is a public health menace!

Over a 5-week period, the McDonald’s in Saginaw, MI on Tittabawassee across from the Fashion Square Mall has had my order wrong, forgot something, or just had bad quality food. I stop there at 6am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays on my way to dialysis. I order the same thing each time, 2 egg McMuffins with the egg folded and an orange drink. One morning, I got the eggs not folded. Another morning, they gave me sausage muffins. Another morning, there was no Canadian bacon in the muffin. Another morning, the Canadian bacon was so dried up I couldn't bite through it. Another morning, the muffin was so burned I couldn't eat them. And another morning, the orange drink was orange colored water.
I'm pressed for time to get to dialysis so I can't go back to get it corrected. A lot of times I go to McDonald’s to get the orange drink because I’m getting tired of carbonated drinks. But I have seen it where they are serving the Hi-C orange tasting like water for 2 weeks in a row. I complained to the person at the window, and he told me his manager tells them to serve it anyway. This makes me not want to give my business to any place that thinks that way and allows their people to make these mistakes this often. I'm thinking of not going to McDonald’s anymore.

It's just an ongoing problem that I feel is a problem at the same McDonald's in Sierra Vista. I actually go to many McDonalds in Tucson without the same problem. I ordered a standard Big Mac meal and upgraded to large. The only problem is that when you get your order, the fries are like half an order. I do realize if I was on a diet, this would be good for the diet but as I told this to the shift manager, he explained that if the box is squeezed tightly, the right amount is in that large McDonald's box.
I just stated that I'm 48 years old and don't recall half an order or when the box is opened naturally. Anyway, I'm sure you get the idea. The only problem was I asked if he could give me a full order. He snapped the box from my hands and accidentally knocked over a few boxes of forks, etc. that were on the counter. He proceeded to refill it. What's bad is he did the same exact thing and the box was 2-3 inches below the top full of fries. Anyways I didn't eat the fries and finished the Mac and again vowed to myself never to come back at this particular McDonald's. I called the franchise number listed on the receipt and there was no message so I just assumed and left a message.

I also asked for two mcchiken with extra mayo and one regular. She puts extra on all and besides all this she gives me an attitude when I ask for ketchup and a cup of whatever. She gave me the rudest look ever and she throws the ketchup in the bag. I'm so mad. I think this will be the last time I go to that McDonald's and I've been going there for a long time.

I was eating with my mother, children in McDonalds. My husband call me and said he was almost there and would I order him some food and bring it to his truck (he was on his way to work). I went up to the counter and placed his order. I went to take it out, as I walked out I fell on a large oil spill. I went in and told the Mang. Angie that I fell and that they needed to get the oil up. I went back to where I was seating and my back and hip was hurting. I told Angie I was going to go home and rest and see how I was feeling. I went home it started getting worse as the night went by. I went to the Lexington Urgent care the next day.
The lady that did my x ray (Shelly **) said a lady came in the day before and had fell at the same McDonalds in the same oil spill. I called Angie after I got out and told her what they said, she told me the insurance company would be in touch with me and I told her if I hadn't heard from them in 3 days I would call her back she said ok. So 3 days went by, no calls from anyone. So I called her back 2 times got voice mail. I left 1 mess. for her to call me back. I gave her my cell, home and my husband's cell. My family usually goes to McDonalds every Saturday morning for breakfast. It seems that each Saturday they get slower and slower as far as service. I stood in line for at least 15 min. waiting on the order to be filled completely. They have only one register open and all servers are fussing over who gets whatever food comes up next. Rather loudly! When people pick up their orders they have no idea what they are getting and half of the customers have to come back and ask for whatever has been left out. So then they just give whatever you ask for. Not so good for the business, but really good for the customers cause they just give you anything you ask for. The line is out the door and the dive-thru is full. People are really just getting tired of the wait and the confusion. Everyone just stands there and gives each other these looks of disgust! People will be going elsewhere to eat and my family will be one of them!

I went to McDonald's to pick up a quick meal for my daughter on the way to go grocery shopping on 10/09/2008 and decided to purchased a Sweet Tea of my own for the drive to the store. I received my Sweet Tea which after taking a drink realized was not sweet. I like tea no matter how it is flavored, but thought it would be beneficial to inform the pick up window employee so she she could correct the problem for future guests. I informed her it wasn't a big deal to me personally, but I wanted to be helpful. She stopped her manager and let him know the sweet tea was not coming out sweetened. He shrugged his shoulders, threw up his arms and replied, "So..." and then asked her, "What do you want me to do about it?" He walked away from her at that point. I was shocked. She asked for the drink back and said she would walk out to the lobby to get me a new drink and we could see if that was sweetened. I felt awful for her and offended that the manager could care less. The pick up window employee displayed the type of behavior/action I expect to see from a manager to ensure guest satisfaction and quality service.

I placed an order at McDonald's on Oct. 11, 2008 at 10:50 that was not completed. When I complained to an employee, she became irate so I ask to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager. We disputed over the order and it was not resolved. I did not know if she's really a manager because no one in the the store had on any name tags and some were not in uniform.
As a result, the employee communicated with a female who appeared to be but may not have been a customer. This female approached me in a hostile manner regarding a matter that did not concern her. I was then assaulted by a third party from behind. I was hit in the face, hair pulled and knee in the stomach (I am pregnant). I asked the employee for help to call the police - my life was in danger. The woman went outside to get a weapon. The employee would not call the police. At that time, I ran outside and called the police myself.
At 11:15 am, I talked to the police and then the ambulance took me to the hospital. I have a swollen nose. I could not take X-ray because of pregnancy. My sonogram shows that I have some internal bleeding inside my placenta. I just had a sonogram only three weeks ago and my baby was fine and now because I was assaulted, I have to go to the doctor in two days and make sure the bleeding is not getting any worse. I also made a report with Megan from McDonald's corporate headquarters.

Every time I go there, no matter if it is the drive-thru or walk in, my order is never correct when given to me. I get charged for everything, but I do not receive everything. I just got back from this McDonald's where the girl at the drive-thru charged me the wrong price and rung up the wrong thing. When I brought this to her attention, she just shrugged her shoulders and said, "I don't know how much it is." When I told her what the sign said, she closed the window on me. I told the girl at the next window what had just happened and she just looked at me like I was crazy. A small hot chocolate is $1.99 and it is not a hazel-nut cappuccino for $2.29. It's very sad when your employees do not even know the product they are selling. Pathetic. I have officially boycotted all McDonald's from now on.

What happened to fast food and customer service? I went into the Local McDonald's in Gillette WY. There were 7 people in line ahead of me. The drive-thru was backed up across the parking lot. They had one person working the counter. I waited 25 minutes for them to even take my order. In that time I observed no less than two Managers doing nothing but walking back and forth, one shined up the front of the Milk shack machine, and the coffee pot, the other sat looking like she was busy filling orders, but actually not doing anything. They didn't help with the orders, they didn't take any orders, they didn't check see if orders were being completely.
The only people working were one person doing the drive-thru, and the one girl taking orders at the counter. They both acted like they were on drug or some things. They were so slow they might as well have stopped doing anything. It took them forever to take an order, then to turn around and fill it was ridiculous. After they finally took my order, I then waited for another 10 minutes. My order was 1 chicken nugget kids meal. After the manager heard me and another customer complaining about waiting so long and what bad service we were getting, she finally went and got a container for my nuggets. Then she says, "Where the nuggets?" She was told by one of the slowest cooks I've ever witnessed they hadn't put them down yet.
I just asked for my money back. Then she wants me to sign the refund slip. I asked her if she wanted me to put this is the worst service and ill ran fast food place I have ever witnessed. She said I didn't know what I was talking about. I told her I had owned a fast food place and when you have people waiting, everyone pitches in to get your customers served as quickly as possible. You Plan ahead, have food ready And you require the people you have working behind the counter to actually be alive. The role of manager is to make sure that things run smoothly, everyone is doing their job and your customers are happy when they leave. The manager's job is not to completely ignore the customers waiting and do absolutely nothing to help out. Her answer was, "Then why do you even come here?" I assured her I wouldn't be back. I was not the only one upset about the slow service. Others waiting in line also left. I guess McDonald's makes so much money they no longer require good employees, good service and don't really care if they have customers or not.

Then I asked to speak with the manager and asked her if the camera outside the McDonalds is the camera that the towing company uses to observe the costumer when they park, she said that she did not know. However, she did say that the camera was used to monitor the drive thru.
I will like a lawyer or someone who knows about law, because for one thing the towing company argues that they use the McDonalds camera to monitor parking violators and on the other hand McDonalds owns the camera and affirms that they do not know if the towing company uses the camera to monitor parking violators. This McDonalds manager argues that McDonalds have nothing to do with the towing of vehicles by this company but at the same time they have a camera in their building which they use for customer security and the twoing company argues that they use this same camera to monitor parking violators. I need to be advise on what to do and who to complain to, because this action by McDonalds and their parking lot towing company is fraudulent and totally unfair.
I had to pay 216.73 for my vehicle, and me and my daughters had to spend several hours for my vehicle to be returned.

Again I asked for a glass of tap water. She said that there was NO tap water and that if I wanted water I could buy bottled water or go into the bathroom and take water from the sink tap. Since when do you have to pay extra for sauces at McDonald's? As long as I have been a customer, I have never had to pay extra for anything. But if McDonald's wants me to pay extra, I want to know about it ahead of time. This particular McDonald's is very wishy washy at best about the issue. I understand that we are in a recession, but the least they can do is put up a sign saying that it would cost extra for sauces.
When I explained to the woman at the window that I have never had to pay for extra before, of course she didn't believe me and told me that they started it back up a month ago. When I explained to her that I was there last week and no one had mentioned it. She told me it was that person's mistake and she was right. I talked to a man who said he had not seen a purse in about 3 hours and that the last time he had seen a purse it was red. I asked the man if it was purple with peace signs on it and he said no it was just red. I left the store for a few seconds and came back in with my friend to look around the resturaunt but i could not find it.
I decided to ask the people working if they could double check and this time it was a lady and she said oh yeah and went to the back. My friend and I heard her say, that bag I found, I put it back here and now I can not find it. a man laughed in the bag and said haha you cant find it she came back and told me that the bag she found was no longer here and that someone had come to claim it. i asked what it looked like and she told me that it was purple with patchworks, which is what my bag looked like. I asked her if she had seen the person she gave it to and she said no i was taking a break, he actually gave it to the person. she then pointed at the same man who told me he hadnt seen a bag in a long time.
They then said that it had only been about a half hour since the guy claimed the purse. I hope to here back about what can be done about this situation and the fact that this guy gave me purse away and then lied about it to my face. I was thinking that maybe they could look at their security cameras or if i could find out their policy about the situation. Because they said they had the purse in their possesion but then falsly turned it over to someone or the guy behind the counter took it.
Since I am only 17 years old I do not have very much of my own money but I had about $50 dollars in their and a few other possesions. I also had jewlery in various forms.

To my knowledge, 2 of the 3, McDonalds on the Island of St. Croix are extremely slow and give a horrific name to the term fast food. I visited a McDonalds today during my lunch break and from the time I stood in line until the time my food (Big Mac combo and a cheeseburger) was given to me, I times exactly 43 minutes! This is ridiculous and shouldn't happen at any fast food restaurant. I've gotten faster service at a fancy restaurant!!!
On top of this, my co-worker was with me and she ordered chicken nuggets, well...as the cashier attempted to fill her order, she dropped the bag containing her food and it opened onto the floor. This cashier picked up the food and took it back to the cook, who replaced the box and put it back on the rack to be served to another customer.
As we stood in line, my co-worker saw that the cook simply replaced the 2 or 3 nuggets that fell on the floor and put the same box back out to be served! That is utterly disgusting! I believe that those at the top of the chain need to send a few people down to St. Croix to do a spot check on their employees service from start to finish. Despite the fact that the employees take forever and 3 days to serve the customers, they are very rude and not the least bit friendly. McDonalds has a bad reputation on this Island of being rude. However, since there isn't much more fast food competition on Island, McDonalds still has customers.

When we reached the talk box (order placing mic) my boyfriend asked for the lady to wait just a minute, and believe me...he did say it rather politely. When we figured out what flavour we wanted(we asked for two large Rolo Mc Flury's with $.50 cents worth of extra toppings) the employee(Karon) responded rudely...wow it took you that LONG to come to that little conclusion? She began laughing through the mic with a female fellow employee.
When we drove to the window to pay, there was a young male standing on the other side of the drive thru talking to the rude employee. When the employee took our interac cards, she interrupted what my boyfriend was saying to her,to ask the young male a question...he was undoubtly her boyfriend(you are not allowed to give pedestrians there meal through the drive thru...and thats what she did..right in the middle of our transaction.
Then she handed us our Mc Flury's and when she passed them to us they were not level, she held them so that it looked like the contents were going to fall out...when we got them..there was NOT 50 cents worth of extra stuff in them, they were a standard Rolo Mc Flury..when you ask an employee to put in extra toppings they HAVE to put it in,or basically its a form of freud..you pay for something you are supossed to get,and in return you get shorted for it.
When my boyfriend tried to get the rude girl's attention she slammed the drive thru window....I don't know why she acted like this...when we were very polite,we treated her with the most upright respect..and got treated awful in return.....I am very unhappy about what happened tonight,it was completely un called for,I did nothing wrong to this person, this is not allowed in the workplace to treat customers like this, especially to customers who have not prevoked the employee, many have bneen fired for this reason, and for less. I also work in the food service industry ...If ever I treated a customer like this...I can guaruntee,i would be fired the next day.

I was not given the choice to do debit/credit for my transaction. Then I was not given a receit. The cashier automatically had the machine do "credit" when there is the option for me to do debit which is what I wanted to do. When I asked for a receit, I was told that the machine was broken. I asked for the manager. The manager told me she could not get me a receit. I told her that I needed to know how much $$ was deducted from my account. She asked me what my order was. I told her. She told me that would come to $3.27. I asked her to write it down. She asked, "You can't remember $3.27". I told her in response to that "I will not come here again.".
In addition, I had to ask for nuts and then wait while they searched the back for correct spoon with nuts packages for my sundaes. My order was not filled in proper order. I mean as priorities go, people who came in behind me were helped first, before my order was filled. If my son's sandwich was cooking, she could have at least filled the sundae part of our order. I had asked for water and I never received it. Not even a cup. I can understand having a bad day, but this was not the first incident I have had with this McDonalds and that is why I am writing a complaint.
I went through the Drive-thru a few months back and I had a very large order. I was shorted 4 sandwiches. I didn't want to drive back. It was too much hassle. I had had a long day already. Whoever is in charge of this franchise, please do something about the customer service there. I really think that would better serve your business than the remodeling that is going on. The time I was spending with my son was hampered because of this incident. I had meant to have some one on one time with him and instead I was having to babysit the staff of the restaurant. On the previous visit I was shorted $5 worth of food.

On several different occasions I have had the worst customers service in the world. Many times I have overlooked the behavior of fast food workers, they are required to cook a large quantity of food for the vast population who comes to their establishment. With that said I don't think as a consumer I should have to pay for bad service of any kind, mistake do happen and as long a they are taken care of ASAP I'm ok. This is not the case of the Mcdonalds I have visited four different times. The first time I ordered my food and I repeated the order because a mexican-american with broken english took my order (I did not mind repeating order, I wanted to be correct...this was OK!).
I then paid for my order and get to the second window, one of my items had been left off...! I then asked is there any way for them to charge my card and replace the items that had been left off. (As a manager I would have gave the customer the replaced order at no charge, it was'nt my fault the order had been messed up.) No the manager an ** handed my credit card back and told me they did not have time to ring up another items, I should have told the mexican american who a messed my order up in the first place to re-do my ticket. WHAT! She messed it up because she could not process the english language and now I'm supposed to go back through the process again! I took my order and my card and left!
On the second occasion, I try the drive through again, this time a ** teen took my order and I repeated it twice it was process correctly I took my ticket went to the second window....guess what I was handed one large order of fries by a Mexican American manager, I looked at her and asked her whose order is this? I gave her my ticket I had ordered a chicken sandwich, fries, and a coke. She looked at me and said keep the fries and started shouting at the ** girl who took my order...I said excuse me did you look at ticker order counter to make sure the order was correct...and did you not look at my ticket it is correct. I made sure of that before I got to the second window, now who handed me the large fries...not her! You did. she handed me my correct order and again I left.
The third time the same thing happen again this time it was two mexican americans same thing again...order correct in the back...wrong when I get to the second window (there is several weeks that go by between each visit same thing happens again and again). Fourth and final time 8/15/2008 I decide to go in no more of this drive stuff...well this must of being the morning of the mexican revolt. I go in and say "Good morning" this young lady acts as if I wanted to take her family hostage, the way she looked at me and never move her lips to say anything, I proceeded to place my order she got everything correct, she asked if my order was to go I said yes, she then proceeded to roll her eyes and look down as if to say, "I'm not feeling MCDONALDS today and neither you!"
Mind you now this is my first time seeing this young lady at all...never seen her before in my life. I had paid for a deluxe breakfast and a medium coffee guess what she put a small on my ticket 69 ks#04 store 6362 08/15/2008, I stated no I wanted a medium coffee what will I have to do for the correct size? She looked at me very cold and said nothing and walked off. I saw the manager was very busy, so I looked around for a customer service number and low and behold it was on the wall 1-866-250-4144 ext **, I did asked the manager was that the customer service complaint number? She stated it was I again took my order and left the store.
On four separate occasion I have put up with the worst customers from the management staff and their workers. All Mcdonalds is not like this I have been to a few; yet this one has the worst staff in the world minus the ones who really went out of their way to get the order correct! The consequences is a negative complaint! I won't go to this store again. Unless I take this form of complaint with me each time! W Britton Road Oklahoma City, OK 00007-3114

On Friday August 8, 2008 My husband purchased our food at the local McDonalds. He brought the food home and I happen to be on the phone when he arrived. I did not eat my food right away. By the time (approx. 15 min. after he arrived with it) I was ready to eat my food from McDonalds, my 15 yr. old son and my husband had already ate their food. I then opened my Big Mac carton and dumped my semi-warm fries onto a paper plate with my catsup. By this point I was feeling VERY hungry. I began eating my semi-warm Big Mac. I took a bite and I noticed there was a hair in my bite of food. I pulled the hair out of my food that was already in my mouth. I remember thinking, surely I could not have got a hair in my Big Mac. (My hair is very short). I tried to see if it was a dark auburn hair from my head. (Not that I enjoy eating my own hair, but was trying to make light of the situation as I was getting VERY hungry, and really needed to eat).
As I looked at it, I noticed that this hair was dark in color, but I could not tell if it was actually from me. (My eyes are pretty bad, and the lighting wasn't real good). I then dropped the hair and swallowed my food. As I said, I was very hungry , so, (GROSS AS THIS MAY SOUND), I was not going to let one hair bother me. I began munching down on my big mac again. I took another small bite and it seemed to feel a little funny in my mouth (stringy like), but I swallowed again. Then I took another bite, but this bite seem to actually make my mouth feel as though I had a BALL of hair in my mouth. I then slowly pulled the bite I had just taken, from my mouth, and slowly turning it around in my hand to see if it in fact had more hairs in it. I then pulled a very thin light colored hair from it and dropped it to the floor. Still inspecting it I could see another hair attached to my Big Mac. It was more thick and curly then the others that I seen. Straining my eyes to see it, it seemed to me to resemble that of a chest hair/***** hair. (Getting nauseated typing this)
I then sat my bite that I had just pulled from my mouth into the carton, along with the chest hair/***** hair, with the other part of my burger that had not been chewed on. I then called for my husband to come see if he could see if there was more hairs in my burger. (He has VERY GOOD eye sight). I showed him the chest hair/***** hair. As he was looking at the cardboard carton that my partially eaten/chewed Big Mac was laying in, he was being VERY careful not to move it around alot, he said, " OMG, what the heck have they done to your burger?" I asked in a startled voice, "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?" (my eyes were still decieving me, and I could not see right off what he was actually talking about). He began pointing them all out to me. I strained to see what looks to be a ball of fuzz (maybe thin knotted hair), along with the chest/***** hair.
As my husband also pointed out to me, there is also some cheese that had melted on the side of the carton and it also looks to have a couple strands of hair that had been there with the melted cheese in it. I immediatly ran outside and gagged and vomited. After this, my husband and I went out to McDonalds and I asked to speak to a manager. The manager came walking up and I showed her the hairs. (Not sure of her name, but could point her out if need to). She said she could not see it. I said, "Well get your eyes on because it's right here". She then proceeded to put on her eye glasses. She then said, "Oh yeah, I see them", and went to take the carton with the Big Mac, as she was asking me at the same time if she could get me another one.
I pulled it back and said, "No, I will keep this, and NO I DON'T WANT ANYTHING FROM YOU. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!" She said," It's not like we did that on purpose". I said, "Maybe not, but it's VERY DISGUSTING to be eating a Big Mac and get a MOUTHFULL of hair. She said, "Let me get your money back for you." My husband & I started heading for the door, but turned to look at her again and I said, "I DONT' WANT ANYTHING FROM YOU OR THIS PLACE, BUT I WILL BE TELLING OTHERS AND SHOWING THEM WHAT I FOUND IN MY BIG MAC!" After arriving back home, I was so nauseated to my stomach as I could STILL FEEL the bite that I had taken, that felt like a BALL of hair in my mouth. I could still feel what felt like a hair stuck in the back of my throat. I kept trying to pull it out with my fingers, but was not able to get it out.
I felt as long as I was going to feel that hair, I was probably going to get sick again. My husband told me to try to eat a piece of bread, sometimes that helps. I tried that. No such luck! I kept trying to get this hair from my throat with my finger. No Luck!! My husband said, "Maybe it's really in your tooth and just feels like its in your throat". I then went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth, my tongue, the roof of my mouth, and gargled with water, (trying very hard not to vomit at the same time). Brushing my mouth must have broke something loose, as when I was done, I did not feel it anymore. But the rest of the night, No matter how hard I tried, I could not get the "HAIR-BALL BITE" out of my mind. I woke up in the middle of the night and thought I was going to be sick again when it flashed back into my mind again.
Luckily, I was able to go right back to sleep. Sitting here typing this has not been very easy but I feel someone besides McDonalds Cooperate office needs to be told of that HORRIBLE experience. I have called them on ONLY ONE occasion in my whole life. And that was to complain about a girl that I had never met before but I had seen her a few times at this window. This particular morning, I had ordered 6 Steak-egg-& cheese bagels. When I pulled up to the window, paid for my food, she asked me to pull forward to wait for my order. When she brought me my food outside the Mc D's door, I was joking around and told her, "These are not ALL for just me", and I chuckled. She said, " Oh I figured that, and I was gonna say, I know you don't cook at home". She then gave me a dirty look and walked away.
Needless to say. I was not happy about that, because this girl did not know me personally at all, and she did not even say thank you. I just spent over $22.00 there in one wack, and I did not feel I deserved that kind of treatment. The ONLY THING McDonalds Coop. office did about that situation when I called to complain, was explained that she would call the store I gave her, and have a talk with her supervisor and would send me 3 coupons for some breakfast sandwich that I had never tried before. Didn't know if I would even like the sandwich or not, but I settled up with her with that.
On several occasions, my food that I had ordered was shorted, causing my husband or me to have to go back out there, (Across town), and sometimes they have been VERY slow, and caused me to get late for my work, BUT..... I have to say once again. Yesterday was truely in fact, "as God as my witness", the worst day I have ever had with McDonalds or any other fast food restraunt. And that is "TRUELY MY LAST TIME EVER EATING AT ANY FAST FOOD JOINT!" If I cannot see my food being cooked, or cook it myself, I will starve!
On another note; I plan on keeping this burger refridgerated in it's cardboard box for a very long time, and if there is any attorneys out there that feel I have a case, Just to let you know, THE PROOF IS IN THE DNA of whose hairs these belong to. THEY ARE FOR SURE NOT MINE AND WAS NOT PUT THERE INTENTIONALLY BY ME OR ANYONE I KNOW! The way I see it, The manager at Mc D's stated that, "This was not done on purpose". Umm...well...I don't think her or anyone else could actually garrauntee me that it wasn't actually done on purpose!! And I will never be convinced!
Whether they actually put the hairs there or dropped it on the floor, and picked it back up and served it to me anyway! It was in fact done on purpose! Someone obviously was being VERY CARELESS to have let this many hairs get into one Big Mac sandwhich. The sickening part is, when I think back on what that felt like in my mouth, AND I have not even actually dug around into the Big Mac, (it is still sitting as when I sat it back into the card board box). I feel if I was to actually dig around, I will find more then what I can actually see, the way it is sitting. But I just cannot stomach it to dig around into the Big Mac.
Time, money and mental anguish. I immediatly ran outside and gagged and vomited after actually seeing how many hairs were in my burger. I could not get the disgusting thought out of my head. Woke up thinking about it all and felt sick to my stomach again. Still getting sick thinking, talking and typing about it, and a strong feeling that I need to let others know so they will be aware of what happened to me, so this same DISGUSTING experience will not happen to them.

This McDonalds is the absolute worst when it comes to getting an order right! I take my kids to this establishment at least once a week and every time we order it's wrong. Today was the icing on the cake. I went through the drive up and ordered a single cheese burger happy meal plain with only pickles. Now to any normal human being this would seem simple, not here. When I was handed my order I checked to see if it was right, and of coarse it wasn't, silly me. I told the guy at the window and he took it back only to hand me yet again another cheese burger made incorrectly.
I drove up ahead because a line was forming behind me and took my order inside. They took the cheese burger back and ONCE AGAIN handed me another incorrect cheese burger! Are you kidding my with this I said. 4 times it took them to get a simple order right. This is not uncommon for this store. It used to be back in the day when you screwed up you did something for the consumer. Not this store. It takes every fiber in their being just to apologize. I will be taking my business else where until this store can figure out how to run a business.

At 7:30am this morning, 8/5/08, I went to the local McDonald's to get something for breakfast. The drive-thru is always backed up, but this morning was worse than normal. I guess about 20 vehicles were lined up back down the adjacent street. I decided to go inside. Inside there were 8 people standing in one line where a lethargic teenager was taking orders.
Why was it so congested? There were four (4) McDonald's employees sitting down and eating breakfast with no concern, whatsoever about customers. If this was the first time I had this experience, I would chalk it up to the boss being away, but it was not. This has become the norm. I have no financial damage, the consequenes are so much more dire. If this work ethic, that exists in every other fast food business in town, continues it will lead to more flight. I am moving on August 29.

I would institute a policy of covering ones feet with at least socks and enforce the policy. I believe this to be a health concern. I did not suffer any damages, however, I think a policy of covering ones feet needs to be instituted and enforecd.

I went back and forth with this person and was getting scared and nervous that he would do something to me and still no one did anything to hep me. I finally told him he better get out of my face and he finally left laughing, after waiting a few minutes and telling the whole staff there that they did nothing to help me and thank you for nothing I left.
I called McDonalds corportate and they are supposed to get back to me regarding the incident, but did not seem that bothered at all by the incident. I have other people in my office that have encountered this person at McDonalds and have been harrassed numerous times before and they do nothing to keep him out and to protect their customers. I was extremely upset leaving there and was emotionally and physical trained and could not sleep well. I am appalled that McDonalds would not take any action against such a person soliciting and bothering customers in side their own establishment and possibly putting their customers in harms way from a person that is obviously not right and capable of harming others.

They never apologize or offer any compensation. They develop an attitude when I don't approach them with an attitude, I am very polite.
I ordered yogurt parfaits, they gave me peanuts instead of granola as a topping. (They have two different prices listed for the yogurt, when they are the exact same, small size. Thinking it would be better, we ordered several items for everyone, one of the items we ordered was a cesar salad w/ chicken, one order for each, my wife being pregnant ordered an extra chicken pattie on the side. We get home and feed the kids first and settle them in.
Once they were settled in my wife gets the salads. I prepare my salad add my croutons and dressing and me and my wife start talking and I'm eating, my daughter is looking at me so I reach over and give her a crouton with dressing to see if she wanted to eat sum more. She eats it and I started to eat some more. My wife starts to eat her salad and looks at her chicken and says don't eat the chicken its raw. Now I didn't look at my chicken I was just eating, she always checks her food before eating. When she pointed out to me and I looked it was disgusting, I mean you can litterly see that it was not cooked.
Luckily her being pregnant and all she didn't eat the chicken yet, neither did our daughter. We got upset looking forward to eating and then watching a movie, we ended up getting screwed again by a different McDonalds, me and my wife just talking about the food and how lucky we are that she noticed it and the way it looked. We didn't eat the salads or the chicken we wrapped them up. I still have the salads, chicken and receipt all in the bag if you need them. Now I would like to know what can we do about this incident?
It was a waste of time and money, we could have gone to a nicer place an ate in the restaurant. My wife being pregnant went to sleep hungry, lost of appetite. The local franchisee states that he has met the minimum ADA requirements and local building code at this location, and for this reason does not want to add any additional handicap spaces. This restaurant was opened in the early 1980's and serves several thousand customers per day. He has recently added a DVD rental machine in his business near the handicap parking spots which has further exacerbated the problem. We would appreciate any help or suggestions regarding this matter.
I am a double diabetic amputee and can not walk long distances with a walker therefore I either not use the facility or I have to wait for one of the trespassing users to vacate the parking spot or I park in regular spots where I must hop between cars with my walker to reach one of the entrances.

On Saturday July 12th 2008 approximately 10:30am I pulled into the Drive-Thru at Mcdonalds and placed an order, when I pulled up to the pay window, I paid with a $100 bill. It took the cashier about 2-3 minutes to give me the change, because of the amount of change I should have received and the amount of time it took for her to give me the change I was concerned. I counted the money and looked at one of the $20 dollar bills it looked funny I gave it to my friend to look at and she said that it was nto real. I handed the $20 bill back to the cashier and asked her for a new $20 because it didn't look real.
She took the $20 and closed the window and never came back. I sat at the pay window for over 15 minutes and became frustrated. No one acknowledged me so I pulled up to the pick up window, I could see someone there and she was walking towards me and another employee stopped her and they both walked away, again I was not acknowledged. I pulled my car into a parking spot and asked went into the store. I asked to speak with a manager and the assistant manager told me that the manager was dealing with it and to wait a minute, but to stay there.
I becmae very upset at that point and walked out side back to my car to see that the police had been called. I spoke with the police officer and explained to him what happened. Apparently the cashier told her manager that the person in the passenger seat switched out the $20 bill with a counterfiet and we were tryign to pass a counterfeit $20. Not only was this humiliating but for the simple fact that this was done in public in front of other customers is concerning.
It is embarrasing, humiliating, insulting and most of this could have been prevented had the issue been communicated with me. I was not approached by the manager or the cashier, I only dealt with the police officer after that. I spent over an hour in the parking lot of this Mcdonalds to be humiliated. While I understand they were concerned that I may have been trying to pass a counterfiet $20 bill, this could have been handled differently.
As a cooperation, I could only assume that this McDonalds could have spared the embarrassment, especially over $20. I left the Mcdonalds with $80 from the $100 that I had given AND no food. I was out $20.

The reason for my complaint is the policy of this McDonald's location to require a purchase before a patron may make use of the restroom. I, for one, find this practice appalling, racist, and downright annoying. The management of this facility has enlisted the help of security guards to enforce this policy. One must show a receipt of purchase to the gentleman (I use this term very loosely) at the restroom door before he will allow you to use it.
When I first learned of this policy, I asked the man guarding the restroom door what brought on the policy change. He answered that the facility had experienced difficulty, in the past, with the homeless and/or individuals who would go into the restroom and not come out so, he worked with management to devise this new policy. He also stated that the policy change had been successful thus far with a bit of opposition.
I, for one, find that this policy is no more than a tactic to get more money into their registers and a way to make the consumers in the community feel less than human. I have never dealt with such a policy in any of the downtown or mid-town facilities and I am certain that such a policy in those areas would create an immediate uproar and subsequent reversal of said policy. All I am saying is, as often I have purchased McDonald's in the past without making use of their restrooms, I find it ridiculous that this policy calls for one to have to stand on a long line with a full bladder, purchase food, and then go stand on line for the restroom, all while leaving their already-paid-for food unattended.
More recently, my fiance and I went to the McDonald's together. We both had to use the restroom so, I went to stand on the line for the restroom while he stood on line to make a purchase. The guard gave me a hard time because I did not have a receipt in hand. I explained to him that my fiance was on line and he said that he still needed to see the receipt before I could use the restroom. Perhaps, there is no law against establishments imposing policies such as these, but I would be in full support of getting one passed. I would also encourage an undercover shopper to go into this facility and see for themselves what I speak of.
I can not say that I have experienced any real damage aside from a bit of aggravation and a challenge in bladder control.

As we ate, another worker was yelling at his co-workers and slamming trays on the counter. I asked a worker for his manager's name and he did not know. At the end we entered the girl's bathroom and it too was not presentable. There was tolit paper all over the floor, pee on the seats, and no soap. This restaurant will often close the dinning area at 10:30 pm and tell anyone who comes to the door that they must go to the drive thru. If the dinning area does not close until 11:00 pm why does this happen. I and others work either next door or close by and walk there. At that time of night the service is very poor and with a Wendy's and Burger King right close by also the inconvenience of having to cross Jericho Turnpike becomes less. On my recent vacation to Europe, I and my 2 kids (6 and 8) drove for 4 hours from Switzerland to the Frankfurt airport to pick up my parents. After waiting for three hours with no luck in finding them we drove to downtown Frankfurt to satisfy our severe hunger. At 10:00 pm that night we searched the unknown city for a familiar food place, mostly for my 8 year old who has a wheat intolerence. What a relief to find a McDonalds.
After standing in line for 15 min, I ordered a bunch of things of which the last thing was a cheese burger without the bun. I know the confused look he gave me wasn't due to my language skills since German is my native toungue. It's a familiar look I get when I order in the USA as well. He asked his supervisor about this and she refused to satisfy my request. She rudely replied I could take off the buns myself. With his disease, however, no food can touch wheat or it's contaminated. After telling her so she said she had never heard of such a thing and still refused to give me the patty. I told her how easy it is to have my request met in the USA. She came as far as bringing a piece of meat on a paper and asking if this is what I wanted. I told her that was right but to top of the tasteless meat with cheese, ketchup and onions. At this point she totally refused my order, took the patty away, and kept on saying no. I told her to tell my 8 year old that she wouldn't give him any food. Nothing helped at that point and I left swearing, crying and hungry.
My son was left to satisfy his hunger by eating left over chips in the car that night. For the rest of the vacation spent in Europe, everytime I had a relaxing minute, I had to think of how unjust and unfair McDonald's was to my already food suffering son.

Since Mcdonalds came to South Africa the fast food market got much better. Why Im saying this, is that Mcdonalds got a standard of excellence and in South Africa you can not really complain about service, cause there aint none. In this fast moving world of today, fast food ore take away food as we all got to know it, has become very popular, as it is not expensive and life became such a rush that corporate people like myself tend to eat breakfasts on the go, as our days start at 07h00 and ends at 19h00. Polokwane is the capital city of the Limpopo Province and we are indeed greatful to have our own Mcdonalds. We are big fans of fast food, and for that reason is Mcdonalds always on the top of our list, because the kids love the meals where you get the toys, mom love the quick lunches, and I love the breakfasts. But something, I dont know what, is really going on in Mcdonalds Polokwane. 99% of the time, I dont get a chance to pop out and go and buy my own fast food at Mcdonalds, so I have a driver and I always send him to Mcdonalds Polokwane with what I want on black and white. But lately everything is just not up to ordering standards, either they give me Cokes and charge me for milkshakes or I order Sausage Egg Mcmuffins and is charged for that, and then getting Sausage Mcmuffins without eggs!
But what really made me to almost lose it, was this morning (15/04/2008), when I went to Mcdonalds and ordered a breakfast meal no.2 but without coffee. When I got my order, there was no hash brown with my coffee-less meal. So I asked the guy behind the till where is my hash brown (Crew id 13 MAKONDO), he said that I must ask for it, so I told him that I specifically asked for a full breakfast meal without coffee, so he started disagreeing with me, and then the franchise boss walked in and I told him what happened, and told the guy behind the till that he is a @#*&% and left! I did phone the franchise owner the previous day, complaining about their ordering system witch is not up to standards, because what we order and what we pay is not what we get. What must we do know, the kids are upset with me because I refuse to be associated with Mcdonalds further and I am very unhappy.
Our best fast food place has become like the rest of these other South African take away's. Im not going to leave it here, this letter is going to our local news paper, demanding better service, Ive never been in tears over service in anny shop in my life, but this morning at Mcdonalds in Polokwane, I even amazed myself.

We went into the McDonald's located at 4300 W. Stone Dr. in Kingsport, TN at about 9:30 A.M. We were standing at the counter waiting on the cashier to take our order when an older lady walked into the lobby and stood at the end of the counter. The store manager came over, ignoring us, and told the older lady her total. Apparently she was a regular and did not need to wait on other people who were there first. The manager took her money and prepared her food before even acknowledging that we were there. When he finally decided to take our order, I asked, "Don't you think that was kind of rude since we were here first?" He shrugged off my question and repeated, "What are you going to have?" We ordered our food. We got to our table with our food and discovered that we were given the wrong items. I took the incorrect item along with the receipt back to the counter where I was greeted by a female member of management. She said, "Oh yeah, it's over here"--as if she was already aware that the mistake had been made and was just waiting to see if we felt like bringing it back. I took the corrected item and started walking back to my table when she felt the need to shout, "You're welcome!"
Of course, this was the limit of what we were willing to tolerate, so we took our tray back up to the counter and said that we would like our money back. The female manager crossed her arms and said with a bit of attitude, "Why?" I went through the chain of events as described above, and her justification for the way I was treated was: "Well, you were very rude! I gave you your McMuffin, and you didn't even say 'Thank you'. So I just told you that you were welcome." I pushed the tray forward on the counter, causing the tea cup to tip over (the lid never came off and the contents stayed in the cup), and suddenly I have two managers accusing me of throwing a cup at her. When the male manager finally decided to refund the money, I was forced to put up with the female manager staring at me with wide, open-mouthed smile on her face the entire time.
No damage suffered other than irritation and anger. I just want other consumers to see things like this, with the hope that the majority of consumers who are treated this way and say nothing, will find their voice and speak out.

I think that the burgers are being over-seasoned. For the second week in a row, when I get back to work and sit down to enjoy my meal, I find the meat slightly undercooked and over-seasoned with what tastes like pepper. I had one last week that was the same way and ended up with intestine problems all weekend. Hopefully, I won't have the same this week.

I have bought sausage and egg burritos on three different dates. These are priced at $1.44 each. They ring up on the cash register at $1.49 each. I have brought this to the attention of the store manager, Joel, 3 times and each time he promises to fix either the advertised price or the cash register. He has yet to fix the problem. The majority of people would never know they were overcharged. The reluctance of the store manager to fix the problem makes me think this is by design on McDonald's part. It also makes me wonder what other products are being overcharged. If all McDonald's overcharge a nickel on this product, that could be a nice chunk of change!
They reimbursed me for the overcharges.

I am a 52 year old gentleman who is lactose intolerant, I have diabetes, high blood pressure, but I am taking medications and eating properly to avoid problems. I walked into the McDonald's on 9th Street and I asked for a Grilled chicken ceasar salad but without the cheese. If I eat cheese, I get migraine headaches and this has happened for decades. When I explained that I am lactose intolerant, all I heard from the food preparer is that cheese comes with it -period. I have been to that McDonalds a number of times and I have always gotten the salad without the cheese. So I was given my money back and I calmly walked out of the store. How am I to get my point across to them that I CANNOT eat cheese? Have you ever tried to sit and pluck out grated cheese? It takes a very, very long time.
No physical/economic/emotional damage occurred - just frustration and anger. I believe that the food preparer was simply being lazy.

I went through the drive through to order some breakfast. I ordered a LARGE SWEET TEA w/light ice w/my meal; when I got to the window to pick up my order I could already see they had messed up and were going to give me a medium tea. I told the lady, "No, I ordered a large sweet tea w/little ice, and she looked at me and poured the medium drink into a large cup and put the lid on it. The cup was full of ice; there was maybe a quarter of the cup filled w/tea once you dumped all the ice out. So I looked at her and said, "No, I wanted light ice, and if all you were going to do is switch cups you might as well have given me the medium and not charged me for a large.
So she turned around and gave me a new cup w/LIGHT ICE. But here's the really funny thing: the 3 others that were standing by the drive through window thought they could talk very rude about me in Spanish and laugh at me, and I wouldn't understand what they were saying. And guess what? I know Spanish! I was so appalled that I didn't even say anything; I just took my drink and drove away, but I guess thats how Mcdonald's trains their employees. I will never go back there again, and I will tell everyone I know to never go back to that Mcdonalds again. It should be against the law for Mcdonalds to rip people off. They are charging customers more for a large drink when it's the same amount of drink or ice as a medium and maybe even small (who knows?).

I ordered a meal and asked for fries without salt. They had to be the worst tasting fries I ever had. I always loved McDonald's fries. These were cold and hard, and they had very black spots in them. Very disappointing.

I went in on the 27th of December to get a burger and when I went in they had no stock, so they could not serve me a big mac. I ordered a quarter pounder and when I got to my burger after getting home, I found it to be the big mac's burger but the wrong bun and just ketchup and stuff. I had just started eating my burger and I bit into a piece of bone of some sort and it chipped my tooth really bad.
I now have to go to the dentist where the bills are going to be sky high. I don't have the money for large dentist bills.

I went down to buy the new skillet burrito. When I started eating it, it was like eating a hash brown. I opened it up and there was about 70% potato inside, very little cheese; I counted 4 pieces of peppers inside and a sausage patty cut in half. Nothing like as advertised on TV. I think I will stick with Hardee's from now on.
Waste of my time and ruined my day because when you go out for steak or some other food at a restaurant you expect to get what you pay for.

I went to the Marysville McDonalds on Saturday December 22nd at around 10:10 in the morning. I ordered an egg Mcmuffin and an egg and bacon bagel and two hash browns. I paid and was told my order would be up shortly. I noticed there were about 5 other customers waiting for their orders, also. We were all waiting patiently. After about 10 minutes we were starting to look at each other and shake our heads. A few minutes later I said to one of them they could've made anything we ordered from scratch by now a couple times over. A girl who seemed to be running the front end apologised, and then we waited another 10 mins. I was wondering why she wasn't at least telling us what the problem was. There seemed to be enough employees to handle the small amount of business there.
After about 25 mins. they finally started getting the orders out, and they handed us an ice cream coupon. I do not eat ice cream so it does me no good. The gesture was nice but.... I used to manage Pizza Hut restaurants, and I would've givin every customer their money back and prayed they would come back and give us another chance to redeem ourselves. But I guess McDonalds has different idea's and trains their employees differently.
I would've have thought the manager should come out of her back office and make sure the customers were happy also but never saw her once either. It's very dissapointing I love your food and enjoy it occationally. But I will have my reservations about going back to that store. Thanks for hearing me out. Darren Chanlder

I was denied water at McDonald's. I was told I could buy bottled water but McDonalds did not have to give me regular water because I had access to water in Walmart. Is this legal? I was outraged. If McDonalds can get away with this other restuarnats will follow.
