I went with my wife to the KFC in East Orlando on Semoran and Lake Underhill. The counter person Amy was so rude she rang up our order and price before I finished the order. Amy was one of the rudest persons I ever meet in the quick service business. Then their food was so horrible I had to throw it away. Their biscuit tasted like fish, their chicken was greasy my cats would not eat it. The mashed tasted like fish and smelled like fish. KFC has become the worst fast food place in Florida. I felt like I should have had my stomach pumped. Like I was eating poison. Go to Popeye at least you won't feel so sick.

Colonel Sanders is rolling in his grave for sure. I have always enjoyed KFC. My 40 dollar+ meal was horrible today. Chicken breasts were dry and a size 32A!!! The other pieces were dry and looked like they came from anorexic chickens. Such a disappointment! I won't go back for this kind of trash.

No Service & no product - At 6:30 PM on 5-Nov-2015, I stopped at the local KFC to get 2 buckets of chicken to take home. I went inside to observe only two employees; one in the back and one at the front counter explaining to another patron she did not have his first choice, and if he wanted nuggets it would take 5 minutes to cook. I looked to see what chicken was available and there was nothing cooked. I walked out and took my business down the street to Mr. Bo. How long before this store closes?

On October 30th, 2015 I stopped into Evans Mills, NY KFC and ordered a 2 pc chicken meal with specific instructions to have a Drum Stick and a Chicken Breast. I ate the corn first which cow corn would have tasted better. To my surprise I had no butter to put on either the corn or the biscuit. I am guessing I would have had to ask for the butter. The chicken was very greasy and sickening. It stunk like it was half rotten. The grease was putrid tasting and smelled foul. I only ate the chicken drum stick. I took the chicken breast home with me. After going home, I took out the chicken breast and tried to eat it. The grease and meat smelled fowl and it tasted bad. I tried to feed it to my cats. To my surprise, the cats smelled it, gave me a look and walked away from it. The 2 adult cats and 2 kittens would not eat it and left it in their food bowl.
I remember the days several years ago when their chicken tasted good and was a value. Now it has no value and the quality has decreased every year over the past 5 years. No wonder the news said they were failing financially and in financial trouble. I will not go back there to eat. KFC has gotten my last hard earned dollar. Serving food that is bad and so bad my cats will not eat it is a rotten thing to do. Anyone owning KFC Stocks might as well dump them while they can because KFC will not last long selling bad food like they obviously are doing time and time again. Just read all the complaints on this website. KFC should have people sign a disclaimer that the food is not fit for human consumption.

The other night, my wife and I decided to go to KFC. Upon arriving, I saw about 3 customers there. We were waited on fairly promptly, and stated that we would like an 8 pc. bucket with ALL dark meat and sides of mashed potatoes/gravy and coleslaw plus buscuits. The person said that would be no problem. After we got home and got our plates out, my wife noticed that they had given us two mashed potatoes and coleslaw but NO gravy. No gravy?!?! That's like having fried eggs without toast! "Oh well", I said and was looking forward to the chicken - 2 wings, 2 breasts,1 thigh and 3 legs! That's 4 pieces of dark meat. Have you ever eaten a wing from KFC? It's like batter covered bones oh yum! I decided to call them and ask for the corporate # and the girl who answered the phone said that the number was 1-800-KFC.
So now KFC uses a PH number with only 3 digits? WOW! Well, I got through to corporate and complained. When I pay almost 30 bucks for a meal for my family, I would like to think that the people working on my order would care enough to make me happy. I guess not. There is another location further away who treat their customers MUCH better, but my wife didn't want to drive the extra miles because she was so tired. I may never go back to KFC again at least not to the "college" location.

I love KFC. I am a college student so fast food is the way to go. The tenders at both the Magee and Richland MS KFCs are extremely small and the biscuits are burned. The KFC in Richland was the worst. The woman who gave me my order was eating and licking her fingers which was disturbing. All in all I love everything else in KFC, but the five dollar fill up is a huge disappointment. Tenders are not big enough for the price.

KFC used to be a pretty good place to eat but the location in Crestview Florida has proven again and again to be a huge disappointment. Definitely not worth the money they charge. I made the mistake of wanting an easy dinner tonight so stopped by their drive through. Picked up the $20 fill up meal which included 8 piece chicken, 4 biscuits, 2 sides. Before I even left, they were having issues with the line. Sat there for nearly 15 minutes. By the time I made it to the window, the cashier advised me that they were out of biscuits. They had 2 left, so would offer me an extra small side to compensate. Ok, I was fine with that. I received 2 small corn on the cobs in exchange for the biscuits. The employee had to ask me 3 times to repeat my order.
I finally received my food and left. I live about 5 minutes from there and went straight home. As soon as I got home I started making plates for my family. The chicken was cold, skin wet and soggy… like it had been sitting in its own grease or water for a while. But, whatever, nothing an oven wouldn't fix but the biscuits were completely hard and dried out. The corn on the cob was okay… not great, but still edible.
The mash potatoes on the other hand, disgusting. The potatoes themselves tasted old and stale but the gravy was completely repulsing. Think of black coffee… consistency and all. I thought it was a joke at first but smelled it. Yep, it was gravy. So I tried to pour it on the potatoes and it splashed everywhere. It was SO watery you had to mix it in the potatoes to eat it. I took one bite and spat it out. So watery and bland. At this point, the chicken wasn't even appetizing anymore. I throw the entire dinner in the trash. Made a complaint directly to corporate and plan to call them during business hours to have this rectified although I would prefer a refund as I do not intend to ever go back.

We could hear laughing and talking from the back yet we couldn't see anyone. He wasn't all that friendly. While I was standing there a girl took some fries out of the fryer and had to walk about eight feet to where they have their fries dripping grease on the floor, if that wasn't bad enough she walked around the food storage area with the basket after she emptied the fries dripping grease on the floor. Then another employee decided to grease skate, I guess I can see an accident to happen. People were talking and laughing while tables were not being washed. I went to KFC drive thru today (I was the only car in line). Last time I went to KFC was about 2 years ago and I had to wait about 30 minutes for my chicken. Today I didn't wait but about 1 minute which I was very surprised. So I get home and open my $24.00 fill up family meal which I paid extra for a few more pieces of breast (original). What I got was about 1/2" of original recipe with a chicken breast stuffed inside each piece with more grease than a lube station inside. The only reason that I got my order so fast is because nobody goes here anymore and because it had been rotting under a heat lamp since the time they opened. KFC sucks and I won't ever go back. The only thing this place has going for the is the mashed potatoes and gravy. The mac and cheese is sickening.

I realized that the same thing happened about two months ago.

The order taker was very difficult to understand, not because of language but simple stupidity. They had no cookies so we were offered 2 biscuits instead (oh boy). They also had no original recipe so I settled for extra crispy in the interest of time. It still took 15 minutes to get our "fast" food. Well, the biscuits were raw and cold in the middle - yes, uncooked dough. Even if they had been edible, apparently there is no butter at this KFC. I had ordered coleslaw and wedge fries and received mashed potatoes and nothing else but 2 raw biscuits.
My chicken was average at best (must be using pigeons not chickens judging by the size) and my wife's chicken breast had the consistency of a shoe sole combined with saw dust. This entire experience was a total disaster. Due to the bovine expression of the server, I figured it would be useless to complain, so we ate what little was edible, tossed the rest and left. The Colonel is rolling in his grave, and I will never cast any more dirt upon it.

KFC used to be a good place to eat dinner. It has got to be the worst we have experienced. The pieces are so small you would think they were serving a robin. Why is it you go to other eateries and the breast is nice and plump and large and at KFC it fits in the palm of your hand. Not only is it small but the batter is so greasy that you cannot eat the batter anymore. When you peel the batter off the grease pours all over your plate. Today I visited KFC Millennium franchise and it was pathetic experience when I went to washroom. I want to tell you that ambience is core for business so don't take it for granted. Secondly when we talked to staff about it so they didn't reply well... It shows how much they are sincere with their work and customers. Even we were not provided complain form and no one was there to facilitate us... This is not way to treat your customers and if it happens like this KFC will be no more in business world because this is era of services. The more you provide services the more your business grow. Respect your customers. Last but not least this branch particularly turned into dating point which is not positive sign for overall KFC brand. Management must take action against this issues. And the worst post part of my KFC experience was how the staff treated me after they forgot to give me one of my food items. For example, when I returned home with an overflowing bag of food, I had noticed that my potato wedges were missing. Immediately, I took my 5 mile trip back to KFC and kindly asked for a large potato instead of the small I ordered. In response, the staff stated that they can only give me what is on the receipt, then when they gave me my potatoes, I said thank you with a smile, and all I got was a bitter look and an "Mm-hmm." HI, this is a regular consumer of KFC. I had brought foods worth Rs 559 and the charged taxes so high that it rounded nearly to 700 so being a consumer this is very disappointing that there are lots of taxes that are included in food items. They charge nearly 40% extra on original price. The VAT is acceptable but the rest taxes like service tax, surcharge, parcel charge, these extra charges are not acceptable to any ordinary consumers.
Top most they charge of everything like sauce, tissue, box and every thing they can. But what I personally found that the sauces that are included in every food items are charged @ Rs15 each. Plus they offer extra sauces that are expensive. When asked for normal cake small size they many times refuse to give since they don't have small containers, so the consumer had to buy the large or medium ones (expensive). Every time we visit they don't have small ones. Actually they don't keep it. The offer boxes are not always available. This kind of tricks earn them lots of money. This issue disappointed me. They don't snatch money but they create such situations that the consumer is forced to give their money. This is very disappointing from KFC.

For the love of God, this is a chicken business, who specializes in chicken, so if you want chicken done correctly by chicken people, this is where you have to go?
Second issue is they are selling a mystery piece and calling it a "Thigh". Well I believe they are in violation of every false advertising law in the country then. This is a piece of backbone with a small grape sized piece of meat and the rest gobs of breading. I googled the word thigh and this discard junk piece never came up. KFC Mile Cross (Vulcan rd) Norwich--This branch has had issues over the past 12 months with dirty tables, slow service and H&S issues so I was really disgusted when on the 04/07/15 I was met with slow service (due to another disgruntled customer) and a restaurant full of dirty tables customers were having to sit on as they had already purchased their food and couldn't sit anywhere else. Issues such as this should be resolved prior to busy periods otherwise there are two McDonald's close by and an alternative chicken frying business over the road from KFC. I would only recommend going into this restaurant if everywhere else was closed and this was the only place in Norwich left open. This is my 2nd and last time coming in this branch/restaurant as I have learnt my lesson the hard way. The new ad series that KFC is running is appallingly bad. Featuring "Colonel Sanders" himself, it has very little to do with the chicken they're selling, and much more to do with an overly nationalistic fantasy about how great America "used to be". Here's the rub: it is KFC and countless other fast food restaurants who are causing the nation to spiral ever downward. Obesity is through the roof, patience is at an all-time low. The only way back to the "good old days" is through the abandonment of these "feed me now" eateries, and the return to home cooked family meals.. Get this drivel off television.

Today we stopped by to pick up wings, which we enjoy, and both came away disappointed with the product. A different batter was used. It was dry with a texture that was not "anywhere close" to the original. And the size of the wings were beyond comment. Small would be an understatement. One other reviewer on this site referred to the wings as the size of pigeon wings, and frankly the comment was right on the money. Upon dismissal of black pregnant woman from hospital, five police vehicles set out front of the hospital while they rolled pregnant black lady out in a wheel chair in hand cuffs in front of her child while laughing and talking about the incident that occurred.
The black lady's baby was born a month later. Early delivery was contributed to the ongoing mess by these Shelby Police Officers. The false allegations by people of another race that Shelby Police sided with. The Shelby Police Captain was made aware of these childish police acts; but nothing came of it even though it was said there would be an investigation. Nothing else was said about it. The pregnant black woman was railroaded in the court of law. Incompetent, childish officers setting in court room talking and laughing about the case. Now, if the SPD was responsible for delivery of the subpoena, I see why it went back with none-deliverable address. No certified mail, no phone call. And a witness can be phoned, but DA declared, we don't make calls. The sad part is, they know us and how to contact us. A week before finding this info out, the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office was blowing up our phone for a person of interest to arrest.
This KFC worker got away with assaulting me. I was denied service for no reason. The whole thing started in a drive thru window with a KFC employee who went belligerent because we where "taking too long to order!". We (me and my daughters) were in drive thru about 2-3 minutes. A verbal confrontation escalated with the KFC employee and my daughter who was driving. I said, we are so sorry. We will just come in. Upon entering the store and reaching the register, my daughter came back out quickly and informed me that the employee was really going off. She (my daughter) said she felt it was best if she just came out so it would not escalate any further. I attempted to go in. Trying to open the door, I was unable due to back problems. So another KFC employee assisted me with the door. I dropped my $20 bill for the food in the thresh hold of the door where the KFC worker picked it up for me after she saw I was unable to pick it up myself.
I thanked her. She told me I was welcome. I preceded to tell the KFC employee that opened the door for me, "let me make sure I have the orders right for my daughters." I went back to the car and back to the door. The employee opened the door for a second time. As I reached the thresh hold of the door once again, never going into the KFC establishment, a voice from drive thru was loud and very mad sounding. The drive thru KFC employee stated, "get that "B" out of my store!" Before I could turn and just go back out, the KFC employee who picked up my money, shoved me backwards in the scrubs on KFC property where I landed back on the concrete/sidewalk of KFC property on my back. The employee immediately locked the door.
This was a unjust assault as well as a cowardly act by this KFC employee. (KFC was liable for the scrubs, replaced torn down scrubs with pine trees as tall as the KFC building, therefore; it looks as if there was never any damage to their property, the victim, me, not liable for you). Charges where dismissed by the Cleveland County DA because, at first no show on my behalf. The question I raised, "how can I be present for something I have no knowledge of!" Then after a couple of days, so called witnesses that said it didn't happen that way the DA states. She was rude nasty, and you could tell in her voice, she didn't care.
Now my respond to this lady DA, that's not true. She quickly tried to flip card on me by saying, you don't have to get ill with me! I blankly said, "Mam, I'm not..." If a witness was there, why they didn't they help me up off the pavement/sidewalk where I landed on my back? And I encouraged the DA lady to have a nice day, but also let her know this was far from over. ** did not even try to hear my side, look at pictures, or even Dr. bills where I, the victim suffered mental and physical trauma. Lasting for three months. Even taken me from everyday activities. And to top it off, KFC insurance adjuster did a recorded statement from me. The KFC adjuster sent me a letter on January 20, 2015 stating: Our investigation has revealed that you sustained injuries as a result of the above captioned accident.
My right hand swollen up the half size of a football with pain in my arm, left hand fingers swollen, bruise, black, blue and purple on the left inner thigh. Abrasions from scrubs. Starting at neckline all the way down the back area. I already had lower back problems. Now the upper part of my back running to the shoulder blades running across the top part of my back is in pain as well now. My lower back was under control with meds. Now I am back on, back injections. The officers call, was an incompetent call by the Shelby Police officer which they always seem to be (certain ones, and believe me, they know who exactly they are). And if expertise was something he was lacking, common sense should of kicked in. But in a case dealing with "prejudice", one is even void of common sense reasoning.
The insurance adjuster called me on February 23, 2015 sounding all jolly. She stated that KFC is not liable for injuries I sustained because I didn't show up for court and that the charge was dismissed against their employee. Being kin a stun, I said, "what!" I was never notified about a court date. She goes on to state, "I have statements from witnesses' that it didn't happen the way you said....." I said "that's a lie!" If there were real witnesses', they should of helped me up off the pavement/side walk where I landed on my back. She goes on to state: "your injuries happen somewhere else!" The witnesses' was none other than other lying KFC employees. All I had to go threw and endure. Even though a preacher/Preachers wife, mentally I thought I wasn't going to make it. Found myself on depression meds/anxiety/sleep meds, went from 195lbs to 161lbs after the assault. Not able to eat or care for myself. Mentally, I was just not stable.
On top of this, the girl in drive thru acted as if she was on drugs or maybe coming down off and needed her next fix. You don't get extremely over mad like she did because someone held up drive thru too long. 2-3 minutes! And for KFC to say they are not liable. KFC covers for their employees. As I stated before, dirt covering dirt, only to become dirty. As the car insurance tell their drivers, "when at fought, don't admit fought. Call your agent right away! Why?" They need to figure out a way to not let the driver be liable. Same with KFC. But what they fail to realize is, when they cover for these employees, they open doors for other employees around the world to do the same without fear of consequences. KFC lose in the long run. People who just will not tolerate this kind of service, will start using other establishments offering chicken in a more safe environment. This in mind, sales decrease, chains will start to close.
Anytime you open a KFC door, ask yourself, is this chicken worth being assaulted over, thrown out over, or treated badly or even my life lost at the hand of a KFC employee? Not even free chicken is worth it. If you surf the net, you will see all kinds of stories of KFC employees that have should of been accountable for things they did to individual customers but was not held accountable in cases that they should have been. The little girl thrown out of KFC in Jacksonville, MS. KFC declares it was no proof this happen after their investigation. "HOAX" just to get money! I dare to differ.. the KFC employee put the little girl out because her appearance supposedly bothering other customers. Man had hot oil poured on him by KFC employee's. He was hospitalized.
KFC: "We under going an investigation....." Man in KFC establishment couldn't make his mind up on fixings. KFC hired a convicted felon.. KFC employee gets up set with customer pulls gun from under counter, beats the man knocking teeth out. Man taken to hospital. KFC: "We didn't know he was a felon? Who hired him?" Why wouldn't you know who you hired KFC? Courts sentence man of course. He was already a felon and in possession of a hand gun. KFC, "NO FAULT, NOT LIABLE FOR THE EMPLOYEES WE HIRE!" PUBLIC, it's really, eat at your own risk when you dare open one of KFC's doors! Will you be KFC's next victim??? The KFC employee who assaulted me, is still a KFC employee in another store. The person in drive thru that seem to have a problem, still in Shelby, NC store on highway 74 as if nothing ever happened. Sooner or later, hopefully KFC will start owning up to these employees faults.
Sooner is always better than later. Don't be a victim of a KFC establishment. ** indicated, the court system let me down. February 27, 2015, same employee that was in drive thru the day we "supposedly" held up drive thru too long. Stated to my daughters friend she was riding with, when she saw my daughter in the car with the friend. ** banned ** from the store because of what happen Sept. 10, 2014. When she came in and upset, (my daughter), I called ** and told him what their employee stated. And went on to state.. "what did we do?" He states, "well, she should not want to go back after what has happened..." Well, I stated, "didn't any thing happen to her. I was the one assaulted and it was a cowardly assault upheld by KFC. And you are right, I WILL NOT STEP FOOT BACK ON KFC PROPERTY EVEN IF THE CHICKEN WAS FREE! I refuse to die over food, and on top of it all, food that's gone down rating in quality..."
SO, ** said it was a mistake. "He" didn't say it. I said "no....it is just a right down incompetent act AGAIN on KFC part." Now my daughter and her friend was refused service for no reason again! But my daughter, has been banned by me and her father. ** did say, the girl who attacked me, is at another location. Who will be her next victim??? Don't worry, KFC will get you off the hook every time.

I made a complaint recently originally sent to ** about a local KFC. Sent an email Customer Service Care ** and I originally tried to order a couple of Variety Meals at a local KFC franchise branch in Gosport, England, UK. The staff told me they don't do them anymore, but it's clearly stated on the online menu they do! I pointed this out to the KFC staff. Just to recap, I did not eat there as they didn't offer any other options. This was there reply from the KFC complaints dept: "Thank you for contacting us at KFC. We do sincerely apologise that you were not satisfied with the food that you received at our location and thank you for taking the time to alert us of your concerns. We take feedback of this nature very seriously and will be addressing this with the location that you visited. It is our hope that you will give us another opportunity to provide you with both fantastic service and great food in the future."
Well this looks to me as it has been cut and pasted to anyone who complains and totally irrelevant to my complaint, So much for Customer Care. I explained this to them too and the next reply was the following: "We were sorry to learn that you were dissatisfied with our response to your complaint. Please be assured that KFC take all customer comments very seriously at all times and regret that your complaint was not dealt with to your satisfaction. Once again, we apologise that we are unable to resolve this matter to your satisfaction but at this point we will not be taking this matter any further."
I have taken the matter further myself and I won't be visiting KFC again, neither will my family or friends. If they don't take customer care seriously, then that is sad state as they must feel in this economic climate they are untouchable to any competition and are happy to alienate many of previously happy loyal customers.I will eat somewhere that they do appreciate and understand customer care and keeping customers happy and loyal. I'm amazed at how below par KFC is on customer service dealings here in the UK and so out of touch after making my complaint. I'm sure customer care for KFC is taken a lot more seriously over there in the USA. Thanks for reading my post.

They are telling me they won’t sub a $.33 cookie for a $1.50 drink. I didn't even get mad, just smiling in my head at the extreme amount of hope there is for everyone when someone this dumb can manage a business. They always say they ran out or the manager forgot to order that specific item and second the one off Hatch Rd especially is always messing around at drive thru and never has their headset on so when I try ordering they can't hear me. I stopped going to KFC period for this reason. Either they don't have what I want or they never put all my order in my bag :/

My family ordered a 12-piece meal with 1 extra Breast added 1 large coleslaw, 1 large mashed potatoes with gravy, 1 large corn on the Ccb and 6 biscuits. When this was purchased earlier in the day, we were told if we called in 10 minutes before we were on our way, they would have "Fresh Food" when we arrived. I called almost 17 minutes prior to arriving to give a buffer for dinner rush, I stood in line for about 5 minutes and then when I was finally met by the associate behind the counter, she said she was aware and asked if it was finished. We were then told it was not ready yet and would be a few more minutes.
The inside of the restaurant smelled like a bathroom and the associate next to the register was handling food without gloves, which is a violation of ServSafe sanitation guidelines since she also handles money, food, cleaners, etc. This is cross-contamination. I stepped out of line, and waited for it to be completed. An older woman came to the front of the line with our package of food. I thanked them and went home. Once home I was informed by my family we had 3 breasts, 1 thigh, 2 wings and 3 legs. We were missing 3 pieces of chicken.
Frustrated since we had already been waiting for longer than we should have, my mother-in-law went back to the store. She spoke with Tobbie (the manager who acknowledged my call when I phoned in we were on our way). Tobbie proceeded to advise her that she packed our meal herself and she knows every piece of chicken was in that container and there was absolutely no way any was missing. My mother-in-law proceeded to advise her again that we did not have all the pieces and would like the remainder of our meal. Tobbie went and slammed several doors and then went to the woman who handed me the food and said, "When you packed this did you put all of the chicken inside? You did right?" not even 3 minutes prior she was telling my mother-in-law she packed it herself and insisting it was right. Now in front of customers she is asking someone else.
Shortly thereafter, she shoved a box out the window with the remaining three pieces of chicken and without saying another word, shut the window and walked away. At no point did she acknowledge the mistake, or take the time to express concern for the issue, or take the time to let us know our business is valued. This needs to be resolved and as of this point, we will not be returning to this facility.

Once again, very disappointed. After a half an hour wait in queue at drive-thru, order placed and paid only to be told at the collection point that there is a 10-min. wait for the 10 pieces chicken. My total order was £29.37, which is my similar order I have every weekend. After 20-min. wait in the grill bay my order finally arrived. Not looking thru my order as I always do (most of the time items missing or not correct), I went home.
To my disappointment and my friends, we have received yet again two small pots of gravy instead of the large one ordered. The burger and chips obviously has been pack and left aside while waiting for the chicken to cook as these items were cold and disgusting to eat. Also asked for my dips to be mayo and onions - again not to be found anywhere in the bag. All I can say is that I'm once again very angry and upset that my order is not what I would expect from a franchise as big as KFC. I bought a 10 pc. bucket of chicken from the KFC at 955 Saratoga Ave, San Jose on Sunday Feb. 1, 2015. The bucket contained 3 breasts total. I paid a little extra for the 3rd breast as the bucket normally came with two. I personally ate 2 breasts on Sunday and refrigerated a few leftover pieces. On Tuesday afternoon I took the remaining breast and microwaved it. The skin was soft after microwaving and came off when I started eating it. Inside the breast I saw discolored meat - gray and black with a honeycombed material near the bottom. The area in question is about 2.5" by 1" wide. There are also areas in the white meat nearby that are discolored. To me it looks like a cancer growth. I may have eaten some of the bad area - see bite mark on left side - but have not gotten sick so far. I kept the breast in the freezer in case someone wanted to examine it.
When I called the store they offered to replace it for another piece but I declined. I sent two emails with pictures to the franchise owner - Harman Management Corp. to the attention of ** Tuesday afternoon but have not heard back from them. I also sent the picture to the Santa Clara Health Dept dehweb@sccgov.org. as instructed when I called them on Tuesday as well. After not hearing back from either message I called the health dept again. Finally connected with the inspector (Roberto **) in charge of the area - the store is in - and sent him another email explaining the issue and two pictures of the breast.
This morning I received a voice mail on my phone from the inspector. He said he contacted the store and they did an internal audit on themselves and no problems were found. Apparently the inspector never even went there. He only called the district manager for KFC and said they dealt with it internally.
I find it hard to believe the issue was so poorly investigated. The condition of the food is horrible in my opinion. I would hate to find out that someone had eaten something like this and gotten ill. The inspector even said he had never seen anything like it. I would think that alone would prompt more than a phone call. I have attached 2 photos - the same that I sent to the health department.

However, cleanliness in the bathrooms, kitchen, and customer areas has fallen by the wayside. Every time we weaken and give KFC another try, we see no improvement. Also we look for the inspection rating & it's usually wall mounted behind the counter which cannot be read from the customer side of the counter. Are inspection ratings reviewed by management? Prices have increased which is understandable but I expect the workers and facility to be clean and well kept. Are store managers accountable for cleanliness?

Hello I am **, former employee of Kentucky Fried Chicken. I worked at KFC Located at 680 S. Reilly Road in Fayetteville, North Carolina for 5 years. I have never received a raise. I went in with being paid 7.25 and left at 7.25. I asked my supervisor at the time approximately three years ago could I be promoted. She laughed and said stick to school. Then I realized it was 19 year olds becoming managers and I am sitting here like I have been here for a while and still no promotion nor raise. My supervisor always had a negative attitude towards me when she entered our store. I heard from a current employee why, but I will not bring that into this.
I have dealt with a numerous amount of managers at KFC. Along with my supervisors negativity, I ultimately had to deal with my store manager, **, ghetto activities and terrifying attitude as well. I am no saint here but that woman has no respect for her employees at all. A private investigation should be done because she talked to us like we were all in the disabled class in elementary school. I have had other businesses see me in my uniform and tell me they will never come back to my KFC due to her attitude and how she talks to us. Excuse my language as I provide some things she would say. For example, we would be called **, told us to shut the ** up along with shut the hell up, get the ** off my clock, and her constant mood swings made life no better. The whole company talks to each other like that so I am far from surprised for why she thinks that's acceptable.
I was fired for a very petty and spiteful reason. When a person feels like they are entitled over you they take it to another level, at least she did. I woke up late on January 4th, 2015 and notified her that I'm aware that this will be a write up. When I came in the store she said "let's get ready for this two page write up," laughed, and said "I'm just joking." Now you when I came in I saw her put a schedule back up but I didn't think to look at it again because I was certain I worked wed, sat, and sunday. So tuesday, January 6th, rolls around and she texts me saying "really **" I know she had to change that schedule. So I was 30 minutes late on tuesday.
At approximately 12:00 pm on tuesday I was given a write up slip for sunday morning. I was confused as to why she gave it to me two days later. If I was getting written up I believe she should've did it on the day of. She does it any other time. I would also like my money back for all the times I brought her a iced coffee and she never gave back the money. She completely insulted my character the day I got fired. She began by saying I had to use her pen on the write up and me clearly stating I had my own. Then the name calling began. She called me immature for stating my opinion on the write up. It clearly says "agree or disagree and why". I disagreed and she did not like that.
On the day I was fired she called me the help and said I had been working there for so long and I'm still slow. Throughout my term being there the past 7 to 8 months I have had employees and managers come back to me saying how she insulted my character while I was not there. She has called me a ** and spread fake lies about me, she has called me retarded, and brought up a past relationship I had 4 years ago to an employee that did not even work at KFC then. Also, she came up to the job complaining and yelling close to 10:00 pm, when we close, about her boyfriend's order. I tried telling her I packed the order and nothing was wrong with it and she began to say things like: nobody is talking to you, when did you become a manager, get off my clock, and the list goes on. I am fed up with this place and I need something done. I was not appreciated at all.

I again visited KFC's place in Fenton Stoke on Trent. Used the drive thru, waited for only 2 cars, ordered, which was accepted, then drove forward to collect and pay, to be told a 20 minute wait for the food. No apology as if that’s normal. I thought these places call themselves "fast food". This is not the first time that place hasn't had food prepped. (Only takes a few minutes to cook, as they use pressure cookers). Very bad management, or maybe they only cook to order now. That’s a question I wanted to ask KFC. So I wanted to put my points on their UK on-line feedback site.
Now one question they ask is to tick the place you visited from a list. Now this list is a mile long, also includes Irish places, and guess what, the list is in no order. Just completely random. So if you want to find the place on the list maybe it will take you 10 minutes to go through slowly. This is the second time I have had food that was maybe 100 degrees at the Wareham Cranberry highway location while visiting from out of town. The corn was just barely warm at best. The coleslaw nice and cold as one would expect. Biscuits were hard. The chicken was barely warm and they did not have crispy so they mixed the chicken. There were a large number of folks due to the special they were running on TV. So one would figure the chicken would be fresh and hot. It was not.
I go to Popeye's at home and it is hands down way better - always fresh and very hot even when you get home. KFC must stand for Keep yer Frikin Chicken.

After 45 mins, Manager comes and hands over all their respective carry outs confirming the order.. Decided to check it since it was late and I didn't want to roam around with wrong order, was given 2 pc dark meat and nothing else. Got down from car and went to store door which was already closed and just said the order is wrong (since beyond lobby hours), Manager without listening said that she has given 1 extra piece to everyone including me and it was proper as per my order placed.
Told her that you haven't given me my order, leave aside giving me extra. Then Manager rudely says that she has no more chicken and she messed up orders due to many people coming in thru drive thru ( even though my order was 3rd in line of all people). She denies to correct my order and when asked for an explanation as to why and how this order was mistaken, rudely says she can't do anything about it.
I was left with no food on a New Year Eve's night and the thing that annoyed most was KFC staff lying to customers because Drive thru customers never verify orders. What if someone is fetching food for family and after reaching home sees KFC has given food for 1-2 persons less who had been waiting for it since last 1 hr or more. I know that even though they closed at I believe 10 PM, they would not drop any more chicken and there were a lot of people come through when we were there because we dine in... I know for a fact that if they had dropped more chicken, they would have sold it all with the amount of people out shopping for the holidays. When we got to the window, they informed us it would be a 15-minute wait and we told them we would come back, after paying for her order. She also ordered 2 apple turnovers and 2 extra biscuits. We returned at the right time, got her order and left as there was a line behind us. Took my neighbor home and she checked her order there. They had given her 2 drumsticks, no mashed potatoes, no cookie. She called to tell the manager what happened and the manager told here to return it, the way she received it with the receipt.
My neighbor called me upset by the way the manager talked to her and asked me to call. We live 8 miles outside of town and I have daughter that cannot walk or talk and I tried to explain to the manager the situation and told her in the past, the manager would take our name and make it right. She kept talking over me telling me how she knew KFC's policy and that would never happen and I told her living in a small town like hers, the business I assume made allowances of their own. She told me that would not happen because of the policy, she knew every policy KFC had and that would not happen and I told her it did happen before she took over and she said, "Lady DON'T ARGUE WITH ME" like I was a child, not the 66-year-old person I am.
I asked her for her name and she said, "I don't have to tell you that" and I told her I would get it through Corporate, and hung up. I found KFC'S 24-hour line and called in the complaint. Customer service was very apologetic and someone would contact me the next day. At 11:00 p.m. I got a call from a number I didn't recognize and picked up the phone and said, "It is after 11 p.m." and hung up. I realized the next day it was KFC, so I called and apologized to customer Called 3rd service and she said, they should not have called that late as they had said someone would call the next day.
She took the complaint again and said someone would return the call. Called third time and reiterated everything I had said the first two complaints. I told the lady this was my last call because I got the feeling they condoned this type of behavior toward customers. I have never heard one word via the phone or email, which they took my email address. I will not go back there again and none of my (adult) family members or friends will either. I have been told to go to the newspaper about this. Here we go again! What's going on with KFC? I was at my local KFC in Lancaster calif just finished ordering my food then handed my bank Visa debit card to the cashier. Just like I have done many times in the past. But before he swiped the card he says to me that there will be a $0.49 cent change for using the debit card. I said "well it's also a Visa card so run it that way." "Sorry we can't do that" he replies. "Ok why not?" "Well because corporate started this new policy two weeks ago." Wow! So as if they're not making enough money! So let's rip off our customers for doing business there. So Charge them $0.49 cents on the debit side of their card when for over ten years now I've been using the same card as a Visa card at hundreds of restaurants and business all over California. That's why there is a Visa logo on it!
So do the math. There are 5447 KFC stores and you take a low number like 100 customers per day that will use their bank Visa debit card at each 5447 locations and they charge us that $0.49. Ok now x by 100=$49.00 dollars. No big deal right? But now x it by 5447=$266,903 dollars a day. Now x it by 30 days a month $8,007,090. WOW! 12 months in the year=$96,085,080. WOW WOW!! How much of that is KFC getting to keep? Will take that to the bank! I'm not eating at KFC until they have removed that ridiculous $ charge!!

I went through your drive-thru at 415 S. Gaffey Street, in San Pedro, CA. I placed my order like I usually do, and drove up to the window. When I gave the woman my VISA debit card (usable as both a debit and credit card at 99% of business establishments in this country) she said it would be a $0.49 customer service charge. I was unhappy about that and asked to see the manager. I asked him what the deal was. He said that if I had cash or a credit card I wouldn't have to pay the $0.49. I showed him the VISA symbol on my card (which means that the card can be used as a credit card wherever Visa is accepted). He tells me that it's a debit card, not a credit card. I reiterate that it is also a credit card. he reiterates that it's a debit card. This goes back and forth a few times, causing me to increasingly get more upset. At some point during this time he points to a file card sized plaque on the drive-thru window that says something about $0.49 customer service charge (what the H is that, by the way?) and that I don't have to pay it with cash or credit transactions (my card is a VISA). So this argument becomes cyclical. Then he tells me that the machines will only read the card as debit (which doesn't make sense, because my receipt from last week says "CREDIT SALE" on it).
I eventually left the drive-thru, parked my car, grabbed a receipt from last week (that said "CREDIT SALE"), and went inside. I showed your supervisor/manager the receipt. That was when he informed me that those were new card reading machines (that were two weeks old, just like the new policy). Another question comes to mind. If this policy, and those machines have been in place for a couple of weeks, why wasn't I charged the surcharge the last few times I was at KFC? Makes me wonder.
So, now they have this new surcharge along with a new card machine that won't let you use charge the transaction on your Visa-debit card, forces you to debit on your card, and charges you a customer service fee just for being a customer. What other fast food joint does that? BTW: I checked with my bank, and you're supposed to be able to use those cards for credit transactions anywhere that accepts visa. The staff at this location is also among the worst I've encountered at a fast food joint. Just check out some of the reviews for that location on Yelp. I, and my family have been regular, loyal customers to this specific KFC for quite some time now. Never Again!

My husband and I stopped at a KFC for lunch while traveling to a wedding weekend for a friend's daughter last Thursday. I ordered a side of mashed potatoes and gravy with my meal. When we got settled with our beverages and utensils at a table, I took a spoon of mashed potatoes and started to eat it. The mashed potatoes and gravy were so hot that I had tears in my eyes and was immediately trying to get the potatoes away from my tongue and palate. I first tried to swallow them, but realized they were much too hot. I then had to spit them out in a napkin. My mouth hurt so much that I was unable to eat anything else for lunch. I kept sipping iced tea to cool the burn, and that seemed to help. We continued on our trip to North Carolina after I alerted the store manager to the problem with the temperature of the potatoes.
I had trouble eating solid food that evening when we arrived in Raleigh and met our friends. I was able to eat the soft rice, but not the chicken nor the bread because of spices and the crust on the bread. My husband took me to get a cup of ice cream and some yogurt for our hotel room. By this time, I was getting quite hungry but still didn't feel like eating due to the mouth pain. This occurred on Thursday midday, and it is now Monday night. I still have mouth and throat pain, but my oral tissues have started to peel. Since I am a dentist and treat people with mouth pain and injuries on a daily basis, this is something I am quite familiar with. I only hope they correct this problem. The temperature was definitely hotter than it should have been, and if a child or an elderly person had this experience, I shudder to think about what the outcome would be. I am sure my mouth will heal. For now, I just have to be aware of what I try to eat.

She said pull up with a attitude, when the manager came to the window I told her what happened and she started smirking, then I told her that was rude and that she need to learn how to talk to people. She started yelling, I got loud, the manager told her to go to the back, the manager started laughing like it was funny, so I asked for the corporate office number. She closed the window and never came back. This was the store on Indian Trail Rd 2/23/2014 at 9:24 p.m. I will never go there again, I went to McDonald's. ALL SHOULD BE FIRED!!!!!!!!

On Sunday 1/12/14 approximately 4:30pm my husband, my 2-year-old and my 4-year-old and I went into this buffet and purchase the all you can eat buffet. The store manager and 2 crew members pulled her green SUV around the parking lot and pulled in front of the window my family and I were sitting in to watch my family and I and take pictures of my family while we ate the entire time we were there. My 2-year was eating a biscuit that I added chicken salad to and 2 pieces of chicken. My 2-year- old took a bite of his chicken and biscuit and refused to eat anything else. We were there for several hours and he refused to eat. My 4-year-old had 1 piece of chicken that he had eaten most of the chicken off of but he refused to finish as well. I wrapped the chicken and the biscuit up and put it in my baby's diaper bag. I also wrapped all of the bones up as I always do to give them to my dog.
Just before we left a black female came over to our table with a KFC uniform and a sly grin and stated to me directly, "My manager would like you to not come back here to eat here. If you would like to be served we will gladly serve you at the drive-thru window." I laughed because I thought she was joking. I said why? She said you know what you did and we cannot continue to stay in business this way. I said what I did. I ask her what did I do. She said we have you on camera and we cannot continue to stay in business that way. I said, "Are you talking about the chicken my baby didn't eat and the bones?" She said with a grin, "You know exactly what I'm talking about and it is more than a piece."
I said no it is not. I said well how long is this for? She said, "Forever unless you would like to pay for what you have in your bag." I said, "Well, that's not a problem, how much?" She said, "Well you just can't ever come back." I said, "Is there anyone else I can talk to," and what's your name and who are you. She said, "I will give you my manager's phone number and all you need to know is I'm the assistant manager." I said, "Well my kids love this place; we go out to eat each Sunday after church because my husband is a minister of music and we come here once or twice a month." She looked at me with a grin and said I know you do. I stated, "Well I will be happy to pay for what's in my bag if it is that serious over 1 piece of chicken, biscuit and bones." She said it was more than that and we usually call the cops in this situation. I said well call them. She then said just don't come back ever and I'll get the number for you. She brought the number to me and I ask was this the one that was taking pictures and she said she didn't know. If I was doing something illegal and offered I should have been told that and been allowed to pay for my 1 piece of chicken and biscuit and bones.
I would like to see the film and pictures they claim they took. I also would like an apology and my money refunded back to me and to be allowed to eat inside the lobby when I feel like it. My 4 year told her that was not very nice to say mean things and she can't go to heaven that way. I also would like that woman that came to my table to be fired. She was rude and arrogant and very unprofessional. I am the same woman they needed to give a statement when a customer tried to sue them for falling in their restaurant.

My husband and I stopped to the KFC Restaurant, in Saline, MI for the two-piece boneless chicken, one side, biscuit, and drink. We were told it was one dark and one white. The white for both of us was very good, but the last one we ate, the dark meat was like a piece of slime. We did not complain, just decided this was the last trip we would stop.

I do not, nor have I been into a KFC in over 8 years. I love fast food, and frequent many of the major players on the scene today in 2013. I have two incidents that I will explain here, and hopefully those who read this will get the picture. Eight years ago, I was craving some fried chicken, so after many issues at the Castle Rock, CO KFC, I thought I would try it again. As many times before going in on rush hour times, and off, it was the same: slow service, "We are out of this", "We are out of that", horrible food, greasy chicken, greasy gravy, potatoes that tasted like 1% potato flakes, the rest of the 99% was water, cold, congealed Mac and Cheese, hard, stale, nasty biscuits, tiny pieces of overcooked chicken, buns tasted like they have been out in the open air for a week. Get a three-piece, and it's a giant, dry breast with two wings. Pay for a bucket of chicken, and it's half full of old, dry greasy chicken.
One time, I went there at night, ordered some of the potato wedges, only to wait in the parking lot over 25 minutes, and yes, my sandwich was cold. Rude, snappy employees. I'm tired of it. Well that's my experience with that KFC. The other story is that my friend was bringing lunch. I thought it was Chik-Fil-A, but he came home pissed, and said his 1-hour lunch, which is really 45 minutes, waited in line over 10 minutes just to order, and then left, after there were 4 other people in the drive, to which he stated that his KFC in Parker, CO off of Lincoln and Jordan "is always slow". So no more, I like Church's and Popeye's, which I frequent enough to satisfy my chicken cravings. Sorry KFC. After all of that, oh and the corn is gross too, watery. Yuck. No More. So I haven't been back, and wont. After all the excuses, "Someone called in", "short-handed", "Someone bought all the chicken, the fryer is down," and ANYTHING I order is met with "That will be 15 minutes". See ya.

I ordered the boneless breast. It came very greasy and in pieces!! When I pulled it apart, it looked as though they pieced the dark and white together and fried it! It was so disgusting!!! I had the 2 pieces... I told the manager, he gave me 1 reg. breast to replace it. 1 piece only... Really? I had a 2 piece meal not 1!! I am really disappointed in this KFC in Lakeland, Florida 98 North... Before this visit, I had another visit where my chicken breast was so tough and dry like it was sitting for awhile.

May 6th, 2013, 9:00PM, highway 41 North Port, FL 34286 - This is a convenient spot for me since it's by my workplace and we don't have a KFC in the town I live in. By the way, where I work, all customer case issues are resolved within 24 hours no matter what it is. No buts about it. Every time I go there, the workers are friendly and my chicken with mashed potatoes never fails. I always get a white piece of paper stating the cashier's name with a phone number to call. Unfortunately, this time was a complete turnaround. I was so excited to try the new boneless chicken special with the coupon I received in my Sunday newspaper.
At the drive-thru, I was in the midst of telling her I had a coupon when she interrupted me and informed me they were out, but I could get the bone-in chicken instead. I was fine with it but then she said I could get the boneless, but would have to wait. I don't mind waiting. I work in retail and we live in the USA. It's 2013. I was so confused so I asked her, "Didn't you just tell me you were out of that?" She said, "You can get it, but will have to wait 4 minutes." I said okay, I mean that's what I came for. So at the window, we were handed our sodas when I heard cussing from inside. I looked up and one girl in particular was using the ** word too many times. One statement I remember so vividly was, "I work with ** idiots!"
I looked at my boyfriend and literally asked him if this was really happening. Clearly, this place was not operating smoothly and something was just not going right for these employees. Everyone in there seemed scared by this girl and she had to have been the manager on duty because no MOD should ever allow their workplace to act out so unprofessionally. We got our food and pulled up to a parking spot. We were starving! No receipt (I use debit and document my transactions), no silverware for my mashed potatoes and my boyfriend's mac n cheese, no straws for our drinks, and no napkins (also, no white paper to call for great service). I couldn't bear to go back into that place after what we just experienced, so I suggested we eat the chicken and eat the rest of our order after we drive our 25-minute drive home.
I noticed it was dark meat and later that night, I saw a commercial showing light or dark. Nobody even asked me. I would have liked the light meat much better. I wrote a complaint in around 10PM and I stated that I didn't even have a receipt to give them any details such as cashier, transaction number, etc. I check marked the box "please contact me" and still have not heard back. All I keep thinking is what if I was some 70-year-old woman who had to experience that? We live in Retirement City. All I can say is I will probably never go back to a restaurant I used to consider to have respect, great service and awesome food.

At 5:30PM I went to the drive-thru and I couldn't understand what they were saying (very bad English). So I had to go in and wait in line with 4 people that had the same problem. Then I ordered an 8-piece meal (1/2 grilled, 1/2 original) - pretty simple. I waited 15 minutes after I placed the order, got my order and left. I should've checked the order because when I got home, it was 1/2 grilled and 1/2 extra crispy. We're not fans of extra crispy, so we won't be back. FYI, Popeye's has much better service. I'll make sure I spread the word about this sub-par experience. Sorry.

I was planning my son’s 17th birthday party. I called KFC in Hinesville, GA (there is only one by the way) on a Friday, the day prior to when I needed the chicken. I spoke with a clerk who did not know the pricing of bulk orders. He put the manager on the phone. I told her what I needed, and she made the suggestion to get two of the 20 piece bucket at the price of about $19.95 each. I told her thank you for letting me know which way was the best way to make my purchase. I asked her if I needed to pre-order and she said no. I planned my day so that the chicken would still be warm when the guests arrive. I went in Saturday mid-day and told the clerk what I wanted to order (two of the 20 piece buckets). I was told that I cannot purchase it for the price that the manager told me and that I needed to buy three buckets to get it at that price.
I explained that the night manager told me I could order it that way and that it was suggested by the manager to purchase it that way. The manager on duty refused to sell it to me for $19.95. I asked for the night manager’s name and was told that there were two managers on duty Friday. After talking with the day manager, she stated that she worked Friday, but it was not her that I spoke to. Believe it or not, they could not figure out who I spoke to. Last time I checked, 1 plus 1 equals 2. Why it was so hard for them to figure it out is beyond me. When the cashier took my order, she charged me for two buckets and then had to ring in the third. She did not even know how many buckets she had rung up the first time. As everyone already knows, the price of their chicken is outrageous as it is. I had to spend $60 for chicken, and I was not happy. Needless to say, I will never go back.

I don't think anyone at KFC reads the reviews or complaints. I sent a complaint awhile back and never heard anything from KFC. Our local KFC is almost always out of what we order. Come on, no original recipe chicken. That's why we go to KFC in the first place. Our latest bad experience involved coupons. I typed in our zip code to get coupons because KFC's menu prices are outrageously high. We got the printable coupon. It was for $3 off a 12-pc. box of chicken (which is $16.49) and a ripoff in the first place. KFC wouldn't accept it because it didn't have Madison, NC printed on it and they're a franchise. KFC is way behind the times and I've had rotten chicken there too. I will take my business to Bojangles or a Mom and Pops restaurant when I want chicken. Or better yet, I'll cook my own for a third of the price of KFC.

I thought that maybe she was just tired and did not realize what she just did. However, I found out that she really is condescending and arrogant when I had to return the bags of food that was given to us in error, instead of the food that we ordered. Instead of apologizing for the mistake, Dina blamed me for the mistake and told me what I have to do next time so that this issue will not happen again. This is the third time that I visited the KFC Avondale Reading Road location in Cincinnati, Ohio after 9pm. Each time, I've questioned the limited items that they have because of different reasons. For example, "The grill is being cleaned, so we don't have strips," "No biscuits and a limit of crispy chicken, some breast in original only." The second time, they didn't give a reason why they didn't have anything but legs and thighs, no mac & cheese or mashed potatoes, and the biscuits hard like a brick. Today was the third strike - cold and dry chicken, hard biscuits and cold mashed potatoes and gravy.
The cashier said they had to clean the grill and they were limited on what they had. I asked for strips and she said no on the strips. I asked for a chicken sandwich and she said no. So I settled for three number ones but wanted some wedges but she suggested that we not order them because they were probably cold. Just too much to name. Then when I got home, my biscuits were hard. I understand that it's usually 9:15 to 9:20 each time but I would think that since they don't close until 10:00 pm, we should not have an issue with orders. At least, the food should still be good. Well, the sign says $6.99, so I asked the young lady, “Why the total is so high?” Well, the lady added a drink to my order without my request and I had her take it off the total because I wanted to drink water. I handed the young lady my debit card and she swiped the total and literally threw my card on the counter for me to pick up. I asked the young lady to please hand my card back to me. She ignored me and walked away and returned to find me still standing there waiting for my card to be handed to me.
Well, she wouldn't do it, so I looked to my left 3 feet away and see this lady who looks like she might be the manager. She carried on a lively conversation with a male (native) until he left the store (approximately 5 minutes). Then she continued to ignore us. I called to her, asked if we could use the restroom, she said she'd check with the manager, and she disappeared. She continued to ignore us, only because we are **.
I have called KFC headquarters to complain about the treatment we received, and to find out why they condone this behavior. The representatives told me over and over that they "will have a manager look into it and get back to [us]". One woman told us she would take it upstairs to management herself. And still nothing. A few days ago, I called them again. I was told by their representative that they don't know how to get a hold of any managers, they don't have the ability to call any other department, and, basically, that they are just robots who can't do a thing, that management is ignoring us just as the woman in South Africa did. This speaks volumes about the moral values of KFC. They not only condone racism, they officially condone racism. I am telling everyone about their attitude and lack of customer "service".
