Don't use this service... I sent them 02 pieces of valid gov photo identification for account verification purposes, Passport and Ontario ID; and they wouldn't accept either of them, even though that's what they ask for and is standard acceptable identification. What really doesn't make sense either, is that when you use your bank account, they send you a link to verify your banking info, which has you sign in to verify your account and yet they still won't accept your gov identification, which doesn't make any sense whatsoever... They also don't give you a reasonable explanation for the reasons behind them not accepting it.

From my usage experience, Xoom provided a better exchange rate and fast transfer for each time I transacted. For urgent transfer needs, I'll go with Xoom every time. Thank you Xoom, for always being reliable.

A great online money transfer company or agency, I never had a problem with Xoom. It's easy and convenient, I compared it with other money transfer company or agency I tried before but with Xoom the money you transferred is received in minutes, you can do it online or over your phone and the fees are affordable. I recommended Xoom to everyone I know.

I have enjoyed using Xoom for over 2 years now. I had tried one of the other "big" name transfer companies and had a complete disaster with their customer service. On the occasion I have had to deal with Xoom's customer service I have found them to be very helpful and responsive. All transactions have gone through as expected and on time. Money in minutes! I have used MoneyGram and Western Union in the past. Xoom beats them hands-down! The service is easier, cheaper, and very fast. I highly recommend it to anyone sending multiple transactions to friends/family abroad.

My latest transfer to the Philippines was conducted on March 5, 2019 and as usual, the transaction was very fast and easy. I have used XOOM for many years and always found the service to be very efficient and accurate. I have used other services in the past and XOOM is the best that I have found. I recommend them above the other transfer services.

I sent money to a couple of people and somehow they could not get it because the places did not have enough money. All I has to do was call Xoom and they canceled the transaction and I was able to re do it.

I’m able to send money to my bank account abroad in order to pay my mortgage in that country, and the transaction is completed fast and easily. It’s much more convenient than the regular banks and easier to do.

Rate Xoom not 5 stars but a billion. Used Xoom since June 2014 to send my family in England money and birthday and Christmas gifts. Money in bank within an hour. Fantastic and trustworthy company. Keep close to your family and friends!!!!

I first used Xoom about 8 years ago. At the time, they had limited transfer destinations. I resumed using xoom 2 years ago once I heard I could send money almost anywhere in the world. I am yet to have issues with the service. I use both the app and the website and have no complaints on either one. Excellent service!

Hi, Transfer of money from US to India takes 3 to 5 days or more. I spoke about this huge delay with the customer service and I was told it is normal. I don’t know which world it is normal to send the money so slow, please look at other competitors and fix the problem or you will lose the customers.

First off it took you 5 days to tell me that the bank info want correct: three times. Then when I do the regular transfer I do each month, you had the nerve to ask all the personal info. I’d rather pay my bank an extra fee than share my personal info with you. In fact next month in, I’ll start using QuickBooks for the invoicing instead of PayPal. You earned over 5000 last year in the invoices fee and you don’t deserve that.

Xoom is getting better to accommodate customer in sending money. They used to delay the transaction because of bank account check. Now every time I send in a few second when I track my transaction, it says ready for pick. That's what is supposed to be because we as customer we send money because we have payment to take care. Keep it up. You deserve a 5 stars. Thank you.

My wife and I frequently use the XOOM process to transfer funds from our personal accounts to those of our older siblings for various expenses such as school, housing, automobile and similar formats. Our experience with the XOOM system has always been positive.

I always send money to my family and I pay in dollars for them to receive it in dollars, and you guys give the money in pesos even though I pay it in dollars. When I call nobody knows ** about it. I'm sick of this and I don't recommend you guys to anybody.

This is a super convenient way to send money international. It takes a few days to verify your ID for the first transaction. After that, everything just needs one click. I send money from the US to Vietnam and it takes only one night. The exchange rate is a little bit low but its convenience and dirt cheap sending fee ($2.99) win. Highly recommend!

Well I rated like that because I got a email saying the dollar is 19.89 and when I do my transaction appear is pay a 18.25. So why confusing your customers. I never get any rewards and I use this app every month two times all the time.

I am overall very pleased with Xoom's service. Since I started using them late last year, I have probably made 10+ transfers - almost all were executed/received within seconds, and there was an issue with only 1. Based on my long-term experience in transferring money overseas, I have found Xoom's service to be very cost competitive in terms of the base fee and the realized exchange rate.

Everything was fine up until maybe my last 3 transactions that all of a sudden I had to wait anywhere from to 3 days for the transaction to go through. Who in their right mind is going to wait that many days? Or unless I pay anywhere from 3 to 10 times the amount of money (fee for the servíce) if I use my debit card which is crazy high the prices for the convenience of sending money from my phone. Remitly and other up and coming companies are going to take your business like they are taking mine right now.

I have been using Xoom to transfer money from US to India for almost a year now. It's way better than traditional bank wire transfer. Faster, cheaper (only $2-$3 transaction fee) and you can transfer up to $50,000 per single transaction. It's a PayPal company, which means they are reliable and trusted. I would highly recommend Xoom to anyone!

I get that this company wants to protect their customers from fraud but their international verification process is absolutely the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Even after accepting any fraud possibilities they refused to send my transaction to my recipient. I was lectured on the possible long term mental and physical impacts fraud may have on me. Maybe within the U.S. this is a great company but if you are trying to send money internationally I would suggest going with literally any other company.

I tried to transfer very small money about 100 dollar to China, and it took me about one month but finally they cancelled transaction. When I called them they said, "For your verification you need to submit the bank statement," and they didn't accept first one. I went to bank and they stamped the statement and I submit it to them. After week they said, "Please call us for confirmation," which I did, they said, "Well we cannot sent money and we have canceled the transaction and we have also closed your account!" When I asked why, they said, "We cannot tell you!" What sort of service they offer and why they do not tell me about the problem? Of course if there is any problem! DO NO USE THEIR SERVICE.

Me and my friend traded game account for money...I gave him game account details and in return he send me 70$ in my account. Although from his side transaction is done successfully but I still did not receive any money. Any info why it happened?

If I could I would give Xoom a minus 10 and that would be generous. On 2/22/2019 I sent over $1000 from US to Mexico. The transaction was smooth and completed in 2 hours. On 2/27/2019 I initiated another payment of over $1000 dollars to the same recipient. After the request, I received a phone call from a Xoom representative who told me I had to go through a verification process before money could be sent. OK a little irritating because not necessary on first transaction. The questions started out with basic information I had already submitted. Then the rep asked who the recipient was and what was our relationship. The the rep asked WHAT THE MONEY WAS GOING TO BE USED FOR!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? She said that was standard procedure. I protested but was told it must be answered.

Most of my experiences with XOOM have been pleasant and the app is fairly easy to navigate. But my last experience with a cancellation and refund has been a test of patients and has take some personal time to manage. They said they have refunded my money, but it has not shown up in my account. And they want me to send a copy of my bank statement to them for their review. I am currently traveling and my bank statements come at the end of each month. This makes getting my money back difficult.

I sent money to Mexico and it was Super Easy, reasonable, fast. Will use again. The only hitch I had was the 18 digit number required. Most places give you a SWIFT number with less digits so some time was lost, with the language barrier to figure out the correct numbers necessary.

Easy to use, good rates. No need to wait in line. Money can be receive in a second. I use Xoom a lot. If you make wrong transaction it's easy to cancel. Just hit cancel. I recommend Xoom for safety send and convenience.

It's really good. My family easy to get the money, but the problem is if I send money need to divide to 100 and additional charges, better remove the PayPal. I already remove the PayPal. I don't understand why still have PayPal service. Sometimes I want to send dollar but expensive the charges.

I send money to the UK frequently with Xoom and am always amazed how easy and quick it is. I have used other ways in the past and am so glad I found Xoom as with others I have had major problems with the length of time it has taken to get to the bank account in the UK.

I’m so happy to have the convenience of using Xoom to send money overseas. No hassle, safe, confidential, fast and just a few clicks does the job. It’s unbelievable compared to all the hassle it used to be. I’m very pleased with Xoom.

Money does not arrived within 2-3 days as promised. Money transferred was deposited on recipients account 4 (business) days after it was deducted from senders account, 5 business days after transfer was requested one week after.

Overall I would give Xoom a 4 star. My only compliant was when I send a 2900 and auto reply that says it needs clearing. I understand there might be rules and regulations that you need to follow but I end up sending just $300 that night and the following morning I sent another $2500 which went thru and was able to be picked up instantaneously instead of needing clearance for about 3 days. I doubt federal regulations changed overnight. Needless to say I yelled at one of the customer service lady and cancelled my money that night because I wasn't going to play the games that Xoom decides to impose that night.

When accessing Xoom through the webpage it's possible to specify a peso amount which calculates the $$$ amount for transfer but, when using the app I'm only allowed to specify a $$$ amount for transfer. (Unless this has been updated since I last tried). I normally use the web interface due to this reason. It would be nice if this option was available in the app.

Be careful with canceling a transfer. I got in trouble thinking I was canceling while I was not. $8,000 came out of my account. Thank goodness I was able to talk to someone knowledgeable who helped me and I was able to get the money back in no time. I like this easy way to transfer money overseas.

Some money transfer apps give us a code to make sure that the person who receive the money is the one that we approved. But what Xoom never share is that not always is necessary that code to pick up the money, they told me is depend of the place I send money. Long story short, I bought something online so I was supposed to let the other person know the code as soon I receive the package as guarantee.

XOOM DID NOT KEEP PROMISE for REFERRAL. My friend refer me to use this website to send money. I did send over $500 but XOOM never send $20 gift card to my friend and me. I will tell people don't use this service anymore. I will find other place to send money.

I can't trust my money will get there when it needs to. Sometimes the transfer is fast and others, like the last time, it takes the maximum of days even when the money was taken out of my bank account already.

I routinely use Xoom to transfer money from my bank accounts in the US to my bank account in Guatemala. The very first transaction took a few days while everything was verified and set up. After that it's been smooth sailing. The transfers are usually completed in just a few hours. It could not be easier. I can also get a transfer while I'm in Guatemala which is very helpful.

Pros - Very fast and convenient. Simple to use app. Awesome customer care. Cons - Exchange rate offered is not competitive. No rewards or points system. The exchange rate does reflect according to the current rate.

I've tried Western Union. It was okay I thought. Until a problem came up. I called their number and spoke to a representative. Explained my problem. And was directed to another department. That was when I found out that there is no live person there. Only answering machine. After numerous attempts to contact a live person was unsuccessful. I gave up. Also the representative was not so helpful. Not rude. But not helpful. So I found out about Xoom. And after learning that it is a Pay Pal Service. I gave it a try. And have been very satisfied ever since. Also the convenience of being able to do all my transactions on my own computer in the privacy of my home. At any time I need to do a transfer. Excellently well developed service system. I have had no issues where I needed to contact a representative. So I cannot comment to that part. So far so good. 5 stars for Xoom.

I have used this company for a while around 5 months to send to Mexico City, Mexico and to Managua, Nicaragua and had no problem whatsoever. Depending on how much you send and if it's going to be a cash pickup usually less than an hour it's ready for pickup or a deposit into a bank account. May take a day or two but they give you a chance to spend things up. They will let you know, so send with confidence.

Xoom is a very convenient way to transfer small scale gift money to family members. I did it twice to my family recently, it is very convenient, everything is online. The transaction time is also acceptable.

I tried to send $60 US dollars through XOOM. I called customer service after they cancelled my transaction to find out why, they asked for my passport number and copies of my bank statements. I couldn't believe it... Why in the world would someone share their bank statement with anyone? For a lousy $60 they want my personal checking account statements. No WAY would I use or recommend these scammers.

I have used Xoom for years and was my favorite money transfer reasonable and fast. Now I use Xoom very little since the amount must be in even hundreds not any amount you need to send or have to send. Very inconvenient and not practical at all. Really messed up your business with that change.

My transaction caused my credit card company to send me a fraud alert and held up transaction. I called XOOM in response to their security emaiI. After answering several security questions in which I could barely understand the XOOM representative due to her very poor English and heavy accent, she could not approve transaction without a copy of my bank statement and ID. I refuse to provide this to her. I called back and spoke with another XOOM representative, once again horrible English and heavy accent made it very difficult to converse.

I have used Xoom before to send money to myself and my son in the Philippines. The last time It was unsuccessful. I'm sure it is due to my banking being in the US and my location being in the Philippines. I called Xoom at a later date to straighten the issues out. Your representatives were all very polite and friendly although I did have a problem understanding some of them. Next time I am in the US I will try to straighten out my account. My son is in college in Dumaguete, Negros Oriental, Philippines and I had planned on using Xoom to send money to support his studies for two more years.

I found Xoom very useful and one of my very few sources to have access to my own money and also to pay fast and secure my employees. As recently naturalized citizen from Mexico it is very grateful to have the support necessary through these company.

Xoom suspended my services and cancelled my transaction because someone else who sent a transfer to the same recipient which I send money to owes them money. I have impeccable history with using the service and have sent thousands of dollars to my 80 year old father outside the country. I was unfairly punished for something I don’t just have nothing to do with but no control over. You’ve lost my business for good. You have too many competitors for me to waste my time on a company that doesn’t appreciate my business. Incidentally, you disclosed to me that my family member (not spouse) has been sent to collections. I reached out to her to inform her that you’ve violated her privacy by doing so.

Your call center agents were very helpful every time. Just run some difficulty when I send money to the Phils. One of your partners (Cebuana Lhuillier) don’t want to release the money because they said that they can’t give 40,000 being it Sunday. Called you guys and they told me what to do to resolve the issue. Relayed it to my brother and voila. Problem solved. Thank you Xoom for your excellent service.

I send money to my step kids all the time in the Philippines. It is so easy. They only thing I do not like is the 5 day delay if I use a bank account rather than my debit card. Also using PayPal has never worked for me.

I chose Xoom because my experience with I had with PayPal. PayPal’s excellent service for last 10-11 years prompt me to deal with its subsidy Xoom. As expected Coom is an excellent service. I left WesternUnion for Xoom because when it comes to customer service Xoom is my choice and it should be for all those using WesternUnion.

I have been using this Xoom Service for a bit more than 3 years now and I have to say It has been so helpful for me and my needs. Since I have family in Mexico and I have to send money every month to them, it is way easier than any other app and never had an issue with it.

I took my time to review them because this app has being able to be very successful and worked very well with me. I’m able to recharge my family phones in Guatemala while I’m sitting on my couch at home! I am happy to write the review on behalf of Xoom services. One my friend introduced us to Xoom in 2014 and we have been using it quite frequently and we have received excellent service. The things we like are: Quick and Accurate communication. First they transfer the funds and then take our amount from our bank. They are available 24/7 for clarification. I would recommend Xoom to others any day.

Low processing fees, however I want to send money to my wife overseas. She can pick up the money the same day it is sent, have it delivered to her at home, or direct deposit it into her account. Fast and convenient.

I have initiated the transfer and within 1 hour the money was transferred to my India account. The exchange rate is competitive compare to other providers and it's so faster service. Not sure why the other bank providers will take almost a week to transfer the money.

Had some hiccups with verification for the first transfer (understandably so, on the bank’s end and not by Xoom.) Easy to use GUI, tracking updates for both - the sender and the receiver, and almost instant transfer of money. Satisfied and will continue to use Xoom!

I used to have 2 PayPal accounts -- each for a different purpose. Then, I was told I couldn't have two. So, I was told in order to send money anonymously to Canada, I'd need to use Zoom. Of course, you charge more to do that now than what I used to pay. So, I set up a Zoom account and kept my original Paypal account that I use for on-line purposes. Now, I got told I can't have a Zoom account AND a PayPal account. So, you made me cancel one of them. This is all annoying, especially now that I have to pay higher fees to make my payment to Canada each month. I seem to be stuck using you guys, but I only do for payments to Canada because I haven't found an alternative -- yet.

I have used your service for several years. Mostly it is quick, but I have also waited for days, but I am sure it is not your people (they are wonderful, compliance too) but BBVA Bancomer. They have even held up small cash transfers for ATM pickup. I was glad to see you again (I think) you added CFE electric bill-pay in Mexico.

Processing of money transfer has been very fast and timely. No complaints so far. Sending money is so convenient since I could do it on my mobile any time there is a need to send money to the Philippines.

I selected my BOA account to transfer $3000 and $2600 in website. Later I found that money was being deducted from my DCU account which did not have funds and now I am being charged with overdraft fee of $30, 2 times from DCU. I called Xoom and got the transfer through my BOA account but I have still not got a refund of the overdraft fee which was collected from my DCU account.

It was a great experience as Xoom remembered the last recipient details and I could just go in a edit the amount, swipe and send money. It is a great and quick experience for recurring transactions. The transaction went through in a couple of hours even with a non affiliated bank. Recommend for quick recurring transfers.

It's been very easy process to complete transfers. It's very structured and real time updates give you peace of mind. Suggestion: if you can expand to provide services for tax related information for future tracking it would be very useful.

I have used Xoom many times to send money to friends and family overseas. In all instances, Xoom has been very quick at the front end in processing the remittance. Xoom would send notification about the transaction, providing up to the minute information. If and when there was a delay in the funds reaching the recipient party, it was due to the corresponding bank at the back end needing more documentation about the recipient. In these cases Xoom would inform about the delay and what the requirements were to complete the transaction. In most cases, the transfer of funds took less than 10 hours. Based on this experience I recommend Xoom to my friends.

I have used Xoom occasionally to sent money to my family in Mexico in the past. But recently, due to a medical emergency, I have to send money more often and never had problems with any transfers. The money arrives within a couple of hours if not less. Thank you Xoom!

Xoom's service is great and prices are fair. I do not get my transactions blocked for small amounts to friends. WU is very painful to work with. They treated most of my transactions as if each one was potentially illegal - very annoying!!!! WU seems to think they are the police... It's my money, and I should be able to give it, send it to whomever as long as I am within the legal limits. Happy to use Xoom now!

Is the safest and easiest way to send money outside the country directly to the other person's bank account. It has made my life a lot easier since I can do it any time from anywhere as long as I have internet and a smartphone or iPad or computer. Plus is linked to my Paypal account so I get double confirmation and receipt when I send money (n_n).

For 2 days I have been trying to send money using your app, when I log in I get a second security screen prompting me to check my email for a 4 digit code, I have tried more than six times and no code is send. I call customer service, while on the phone I tried once again to log in and your rep said there’s nothing wrong on your end. It’s my email provider not allowing your email to come through, and now I miraculously get an email from your site asking me to rate your service! Really!

This was my first international transfer with Xoom, and it worked like German engine. Perfect. All done from my iPhone, and on a national holiday. Client received the funds the next day, which he was able to confirm. Lightning fast, great exchange rate, convenient status tracking. Will definitely use in the future if the need arises.

Xoom has been very good for me. I have used them to transfer money internationally for years, and I have never had a problem with them. They corrected a problem I encountered with a foreign bank very quickly, returning my money to my bank account.

I was able to send a quick amount to wish my sis happy birthday... who does not like quick cash :). She got to see the transaction come through while we were talking. She was thrilled!! On another transaction... I was also impressed when a transaction was declined and cancelled automatically when it was a business account, I had no idea that this person's account was a business account.

It’s wonderful having Xoom. It's very convenient. The only thing is I can’t send money less than a hundred. It makes me use other money remittances because of that rule. Hope it will change. I have been using Xoom for years already.

So I decided to give Xoom a try and I will never go back to the store to send money ever again. I can do it in the comfort of my own home without having to go anywhere, which is a big plus for me. It was very easy and the funds were ready almost immediately. I love XOOM and I will not stop using it. :)

Worst remittance service I've ever used. These people are RIDICULOUS! Tried to transfer $150 US to Jamaica since the 2/10/19 and, as of today, 2/20/19 the transaction is not completed. I even called, gave them all my details and they said that it would be done in 2 days. Prior to this I tried sending $50 US. Had a similar bad experience. It doesn't make sense. They treat you like you are some drug dealer or something attending a sentence hearing. To add to that, the reps from India were very rude. They don't care about your business based on their attitude towards you. Guess what, this is the last time I am doing business with these IDIOTS. I would prefer to pay a bit more to send my money without all the hassle. Not worth it.

I initially started off with a decent experience. The transfers I did to a friend who needed help in Brazil were fast. Until, however, another friend tried sending him money. Both of our accounts were banned for 'suspicious/fraudulent' activities and NO reasons were given to us, outside of a copy/paste automatic email telling us we were screwed. No way to contest and no explanation. All we received was, essentially, Xoom can pick and choose who to ban and not give any reason for it, all at the whims of a robot. Trying to be nice and help a friend? Banned. Try to reach out and chastise them for condescending customer service? Get talked down to like a dog for daring to ask what rule you broke in addition to another condescending, robotic response. Xoom: Don't try to help your friends or you'll be banned. A PayPal service.

I had a bad experience with Xoom. I recently opened an account with Xoom to send money to a friend in Thailand who wanted to buy some tools to groom her dog. I thought I was being a nice person to help my friend out. I connected my PayPal account with no big problem and got my friend to send over a bunch of personal information. I then did the transfer at what seemed like reasonable fees. I got a confirmation number saying that my transfer was pending. I was told to call Xoom. This is when the experience went downhill.

I am 24 hours into attempting to transfer money, 5 phone calls and 13 emails and no results. I am told the money can be returned to me within 3-5 banking days. What the... Every 4 hours I am notified of another document I need to send in addition to my driver's license, bank statement, utility bill, tax assessment. I am wondering how much info am I providing to whom? Meanwhile my ill friend, who is traveling in Mexico waits for money to see the doctor. Both of us glued to telephones waiting to hear what next is required for documentation. 4 hours of my life is gone trying to do this. Western Union next time.

Xoom, took my money, shut my account down for no apparent reason, and will not give me a reason why. I have filed through the BBB on them. I would not waste my time. I was sending some friends a monetary gift for Valentine's Day, and out of nowhere my account was flagged. I receive a call from a call center asking multiple questions and I have no clue why. The next day the transaction is cancelled and my account is closed. Please get a few people here in the U.S. on your customer service call center staff, because I could not understand anything that they were saying. PayPal needs to sever ties with this company immediately! Bad business.

I've used Xoom several times to send money directly to family members in a different country. It was convenient and easy. This time around, I had to call them to verify my account, my address, phone number, etc. Then I was interviewed about the money I was sending. After the interview, they told me they are canceling my transaction because I had told them that my aunt and I send money using MY bank account about once or twice a year. Apparently you can't do that? I will no longer be using Xoom. They made it seem like I was sending drug money or committing some sort of fraud when I was trying to help out my family. Their customer service sucks as well.

I used to LOVE Xoom, but this few times I try to send money to my brother you guys would cancel my orders with no excuse, and when I call they don’t really have a good explanation. I think if this happens again, I would stop using this service.

Since I travel a lot, I am always too far away from my family members (who are spread around the world) to be with them on special days. Being able to send money instantly so that they can buy for themselves what they would really like for their birthday takes a lot of strain off me and I know that they appreciate getting money (and notifications) into their bank account for that special occasion.

It has been always easy for me to send money from my account in the USA to different countries, loving the many options I have to retrieve the money from. It's pretty easy and it's usually ready for pick up the same day.

The price is good and the speed of transaction is excellent. One MAJOR thing is the security of the site... it is best that the site has a secondary password or code in order to log in to protect users. Like a code text to a phone number in addition to the password to log in. Other people who has my password can log into my account and send themselves some money, in one day, they would have the money because it is done via bank and cash. So this is a major concern.

I was banned by Xoom for no legitimate reason and without an appropriate explanation. Bad customer service. Bad communication. Bad ending for no reason. I work hard, I send money. It's simple. Xoom is not a good company.

PayPal wanted me to sign for Xoom. It was timely as I needed to send a small payment to pay a traffic ticket in Europe. After I processed the payment, they immediately canceled it with no explanation. When I called, I was told that it was canceled because the payment was to a government entity and not to a private non-commercial party. It was not really explained anywhere on their website well, but OK, I let it slide. Sometime later I needed to send money to a friend Russia. Zoom advertises that they do it all the time.

In trying to send money to Cambodia, Xoom verification department cancelled the transaction, having decided that it was a commercial transaction (not allowed), which it was NOT. I clearly stated on several occasions that the money was entirely a gift. Repeated attempts to get a credible explanation and to speak to someone in a decision making authority were unsuccessful. I ended up wasting several days before concluding that Xoom placed little priority on customer service and was not very concerned about irresponsible decisions shielded by anonymity.

I really like this way of sending money. No hassle, no leaving home and very accurate and fast too. The reason why I don’t give a 5 star it’s because the money was supposed to be taken off my PayPal account not my personal account but besides that it’s a great way.

XOOM is always easy to use. All I have to do is go to their website using my iPhone and make the request to transfer the money and it is complete within an hour. I would recommend XOOM to anybody. They are fast and efficient!

Hi, my experience was bad because whoever spoke with me was rude and unprofessional, with this job and I spoke with 3 persons on this case, I open an account and send $100 to myself and later sent $1,518. That was when the problem started. They said they need my statement and ID and I sent the data page of my passport and she said it's not cleared, before I could send it again my transaction was canceled. Since then I have not been happy with Xoom.

My sister went and pick the money in Mexico and the person was to my end inrespectful. They never have money she have to go few times and to they have the Money we send. I think to switch to end other company.

Extremely disappointed with Xoom for putting me in a situation. Had to wire urgent funds to family back in india and got the following email: “Dear Marzban **, We're sorry, Xoom or our partner has encountered an unexpected problem processing transaction **. We've cancelled the transaction at this time and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us and we'll be happy to assist you. Xoom Customer Service”. Called customer service who gave me the same response as my email. This is the second time this has happened. The first time it took 3 days for my funds to reach india because of the same excuse about ‘unexpected error with partners in india’. Looking for another service to avoid such embarrassment again.

Great service for sending money internationally. Very simple, easy to understand directions. Online service was convenient, super quick, recipients had no problems receiving money sent within a matter of minutes.

I sent to two persons. One with bank account that went thru and one to a person's email. There must have been something wrong with either email or name as you blocked me from using Xoom again. I can't send to the bank like it did before. I have no idea of what I did wrong.
